15:1 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 모세와 사무엘이 내 앞에 섰다 할지라도 내 마음은 이 백성을 향할 수 없나니 그들을 내 앞에서 쫓아 내치라
15:1 Then said the LORD unto me, Though Moses and Samuel stood before me, yet my mind could not be toward this people: cast them out of my sight, and let them go forth.
15:2 그들이 만일 네게 말하기를 우리가 어디로 나아가리요 하거든 너는 그들에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 사망할 자는 사망으로 나아가고 칼을 받을 자는 칼로 나아가고 기근을 당할 자는 기근으로 나아가고 포로 될 자는 포로 됨으로 나아갈지니라 하셨다 하라
15:2 And it shall come to pass, if they say unto you, Where shall we go forth? then you shall tell them, Thus says the LORD; Such as are for death, to death; and such as are for the sword, to the sword; and such as are for the famine, to the famine; and such as are for the captivity, to the captivity.
15:3 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 그들을 네 가지로 벌하리니 곧 죽이는 칼과 찢는 개와 삼켜 멸하는 공중의 새와 땅의 짐승으로 할 것이며
15:3 And I will appoint over them four kinds, says the LORD: the sword to slay, and the dogs to tear, and the fowls of the heaven, and the beasts of the earth, to devour and destroy.
15:4 유다 왕 히스기야의 아들 므낫세가 예루살렘에 행한 바를 인하여 내가 그들을 세계 열방 중에 흩으리라
15:4 And I will cause them to be removed into all kingdoms of the earth, because of Manasseh the son of Hezekiah king of Judah, for that which he did in Jerusalem.
15:5 ○ 예루살렘아 너를 불쌍히 여길 자 누구며 너를 곡할 자 누구며 돌이켜 네 평안을 물을 자 누구뇨
15:5 For who shall have pity upon you, O Jerusalem? or who shall lament for you? or who shall go aside to ask how you do?
15:6 여호와께서 가라사대 네가 나를 버렸고 내게서 물러갔으므로 네게로 내 손을 펴서 너를 멸하였노니 이는 내가 뜻을 돌이키기에 염증이 났음이로다
15:6 You have forsaken me, says the LORD, you are gone backward: therefore will I stretch out my hand against you, and destroy you; I am weary with repenting.
15:7 내가 그들을 그 땅의 여러 성문에서 키로 까불러 그 자식을 끊어서 내 백성을 멸하였나니 이는 그들이 그 길에서 돌이키지 아니하였음이라
15:7 And I will fan them with a fan in the gates of the land; I will bereave them of children, I will destroy my people since they return not from their ways.
15:8 그들의 과부가 내 앞에 바다 모래보다 더 많아졌느니라 내가 대낮에 훼멸할 자를 그들에게로 데려다가 그들과 청년들의 어미를 쳐서 놀람과 두려움을 그들에게 졸지에 임하게 하였으며
15:8 Their widows are increased to me above the sand of the seas: I have brought upon them against the mother of the young men a spoiler at noonday: I have caused him to fall upon it suddenly, and terrors upon the city.
15:9 일곱 자식을 생산한 여인으로는 쇠약하여 기절하게 하며 오히려 백주에 그의 해로 떨어져서 그로 수치와 근심을 당케 하였느니라 그 남은 자는 그 대적의 칼에 붙이리라 여호와의 말이니라
15:9 She that has borne seven languishes: she has given up the spirit; her sun is gone down while it was yet day: she has been ashamed and confounded: and the residue of them will I deliver to the sword before their enemies, says the LORD.
15:10 ○ 내게 재앙이로다 나의 모친이여 모친이 나를 온 세계에게 다툼과 침을 당할 자로 낳으셨도다 내가 뀌어 주지도 아니하였고 사람이 내게 뀌이지도 아니하였건마는 다 나를 저주하는도다
15:10 Woe is me, my mother, that you have borne me a man of strife and a man of contention to the whole earth! I have neither lent on interest, nor men have lent to me on interest; yet every one of them does curse me.
15:11 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 진실로 너를 강하게 할 것이요 너로 복을 얻게 할 것이며 내가 진실로 네 대적으로 재앙과 환난의 때에 네게 간구하게 하리라
15:11 The LORD said, Verily it shall be well with your remnant; verily I will cause the enemy to plead you well in the time of evil and in the time of affliction.
15:12 누가 능히 철 곧 북방의 철과 놋을 꺾으리요
15:12 Shall iron break the northern iron and the steel?
15:13 그러나 네 모든 죄로 인하여 네 사경의 모든 재산과 보물로 값 없이 탈취를 당하게 할 것이며
15:13 Your substance and your treasures will I give to the spoil without price, and that for all your sins, even in all your borders.
15:14 너로 네 대적과 함께 네가 알지 못하는 땅에 이르게 하리니 이는 나의 진노의 맹렬한 불이 너희를 사르려 함이니라
15:14 And I will make you to pass with yours enemies into a land which you know not: for a fire is kindled in mine anger, which shall burn upon you.
15:15 ○ 여호와여 주께서 아시오니 원컨대 주는 나를 기억하시며 권고하사 나를 박해하는 자에게 보복하시고 주의 오래 참으심을 인하여 나로 멸망치 말게 하옵시며 주를 위하여 내가 치욕 당하는 줄을 아시옵소서
15:15 O LORD, you know: remember me, and visit me, and revenge me of my persecutors; take me not away in your longsuffering: know that for your sake I have suffered rebuke.
15:16 만군의 하나님 여호와시여 나는 주의 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 자라 내가 주의 말씀을 얻어 먹었사오니 주의 말씀은 내게 기쁨과 내 마음의 즐거움이오나
15:16 Your words were found, and I did eat them; and your word was unto me the joy and rejoicing of mine heart: for I am called by your name, O LORD God of hosts.
15:17 내가 기뻐하는 자의 회에 앉지 아니하며 즐거워하지도 아니하고 주의 손을 인하여 홀로 앉았사오니 이는 주께서 분노로 내게 채우셨음이니이다
15:17 I sat not in the assembly of the mockers, nor rejoiced; I sat alone because of your hand: for you have filled me with indignation.
15:18 나의 고통이 계속하며 상처가 중하여 낫지 아니함은 어찜이니이까 주께서는 내게 대하여 물이 말라서 속이는 시내 같으시리이까
15:18 Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuses to be healed? will you be altogether unto me as a liar, and as waters that fail?
15:19 ○ 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 네가 만일 돌아오면 내가 너를 다시 이끌어서 내 앞에 세울 것이며 네가 만일 천한 것에서 귀한 것을 취할 것 같으면 너는 내 입 같이 될 것이라 그들은 네게로 돌아오려니와 너는 그들에게로 돌아가지 말지니라
15:19 Therefore thus says the LORD, If you return, then will I bring you again, and you shall stand before me: and if you take forth the precious from the vile, you shall be as my mouth: let them return unto you; but return not you unto them.
15:20 내가 너로 이 백성 앞에 견고한 놋 성벽이 되게 하리니 그들이 너를 칠지라도 이기지 못할 것은 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구하여 건짐이니라 여호와의 말이니라
15:20 And I will make you unto this people a fenced brazen wall: and they shall fight against you, but they shall not prevail against you: for I am with you to save you and to deliver you, says the LORD.
15:21 내가 너를 악한 자의 손에서 건지며 무서운 자의 손에서 구속하리라
15:21 And I will deliver you out of the hand of the wicked, and I will redeem you out of the hand of the terrible.
16:1 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하니라 가라사대
16:1 The word of the LORD came also unto me, saying,
16:2 너는 이 땅에서 아내를 취하지 말며 자녀를 두지 말지니라
16:2 You shall not take you a wife, neither shall you have sons or daughters in this place.
16:3 이곳에서 생산한 자녀와 이 땅에서 그들을 해산한 어미와 그들을 낳은 아비에 대하여 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라
16:3 For thus says the LORD concerning the sons and concerning the daughters that are born in this place, and concerning their mothers that bare them, and concerning their fathers that brings forth them in this land;
16:4 그들은 독한 병으로 죽고 슬퍼함을 입지 못하며 매장함을 얻지 못하여 지면의 분토와 같을 것이며 칼과 기근에 망하고 그 시체는 공중의 새와 땅 짐승의 밥이 되리라
16:4 They shall die of grievous deaths; they shall not be lamented; neither shall they be buried; but they shall be as dung upon the face of the earth: and they shall be consumed by the sword, and by famine; and their carcasses shall be food for the fowls of heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
16:5 ○ 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 상가에 들어가지 말라 가서 통곡하지 말며 그들을 위하여 애곡하지 말라 내가 이 백성에게서 나의 평강을 빼앗으며 인자와 긍휼을 제함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
16:5 For thus says the LORD, Enter not into the house of mourning, neither go to lament nor lament for them: for I have taken away my peace from this people, says the LORD, even loving kindness and mercies.
16:6 큰 자든지 작은 자든지 이 땅에서 죽으리니 그들이 매장되지 못할 것이며 그들을 위하여 애곡하는 자도 없겠고 자기 몸을 베거나 대머리 되게 하는 자도 없을 것이며
16:6 Both the great and the small shall die in this land: they shall not be buried, neither shall men lament for them, nor cut themselves, nor make themselves bald for them:
16:7 슬플 때에 떡을 떼며 그 죽은 자를 인하여 그들을 위로하는 자가 없을 것이며 그들의 아비나 어미의 상사를 위하여 위로의 잔을 그들에게 마시울 자가 없으리라
16:7 Neither shall men tear themselves for them in mourning, to comfort them for the dead; neither shall men give them the cup of consolation to drink for their father or for their mother.
16:8 너는 잔치집에 들어가서 그들과 함께 앉아 먹거나 마시지 말라
16:8 You shall not also go into the house of feasting, to sit with them to eat and to drink.
16:9 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 보라 기뻐하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리와 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리를 내가 네 목전, 네 시대에 이곳에서 끊어지게 하리라
16:9 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will cause to cease out of this place in your eyes, and in your days, the voice of delight, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride.
16:10 ○ 네가 이 모든 말로 백성에게 고할 때에 그들이 네게 묻기를 여호와께서 우리에게 이 모든 큰 재앙을 광포하심은 어찜이며 우리의 죄악은 무엇이며 우리가 우리 하나님 여호와께 범한 죄는 무엇이뇨 하거든
16:10 And it shall come to pass, when you shall show this people all these words, and they shall say unto you, Wherefore has the LORD pronounced all this great evil against us? or what is our iniquity? or what is our sin that we have committed against the LORD our God?
16:11 너는 그들에게 대답하기를 여호와께서 말씀하시되 너희 열조가 나를 버리고 다른 신들을 좇아서 그들을 섬기며 그들에게 절하고 나를 버려 내 법을 지키지 아니하였음이라
16:11 Then shall you say unto them, Because your fathers have forsaken me, says the LORD, and have walked after other gods, and have served them, and have worshipped them, and have forsaken me, and have not kept my law;
16:12 너희가 너희 열조보다 더욱 악을 행하였도다 보라 너희가 각기 악한 마음의 강퍅함을 따라 행하고 나를 청종치 아니하였으므로
16:12 And all of you have done worse than your fathers; for, behold, all of you walk every one after the imagination of his evil heart, that they may not hearken unto me:
16:13 내가 너희를 이 땅에서 쫓아내어 너희와 너희 열조의 알지 못하던 땅에 이르게 할 것이라 너희가 거기서 주야로 다른 신들을 섬기리니 이는 내가 너희에게 은혜를 베풀지 아니함이라 하셨다 하라
16:13 Therefore will I cast you out of this land into a land that all of you know not, neither all of you nor your fathers; and there shall all of you serve other gods day and night; where I will not show you favour.
16:14 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 그러나 보라 날이 이르리니 다시는 이스라엘 자손을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내신 여호와의 사심으로 맹세하지 아니하고
16:14 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that it shall no more be said, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
16:15 이스라엘 자손을 북방 땅과 그 모든 쫓겨났던 나라에서 인도하여 내신 여호와의 사심으로 맹세하리라 내가 그들을 그 열조에게 준 그들의 땅으로 인도하여 들이리라
16:15 But, The LORD lives, that brought up the children of Israel from the land of the north, and from all the lands where he had driven them: and I will bring them again into their land that I gave unto their fathers.
16:16 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 내가 많은 어부를 불러다가 그들을 낚게 하며 그 후에 많은 포수를 불러다가 그들을 모든 산과 모든 작은 산과 암혈에서 사냥하게 하리니
16:16 Behold, I will send for many fishers, says the LORD, and they shall fish them; and after will I send for many hunters, and they shall hunt them from every mountain, and from every hill, and out of the holes of the rocks.
16:17 이는 내 눈이 그들의 행위를 감찰하므로 그들이 내 얼굴 앞에서 숨김을 얻지 못하며 그들의 죄악이 내 목전에서 은폐되지 못함이라
16:17 For mine eyes are upon all their ways: they are not hid from my face, neither is their iniquity hid from mine eyes.
16:18 내가 위선 그들의 악과 죄를 배나 갚을 것은 그들이 그 미운 물건의 시체로 내 땅을 더럽히며 그들의 가증한 것으로 내 산업에 가득하게 하였음이니라
16:18 And first I will recompense their iniquity and their sin double; because they have defiled my land, they have filled mine inheritance with the carcasses of their detestable and abominable things.
16:19 ○ 여호와 나의 힘, 나의 보장, 환난 날의 피난처시여 열방이 땅 끝에서 주께 이르러 말하기를 우리 열조의 계승한 바는 허무하고 망탄하고 무익한 것 뿐이라
16:19 O LORD, my strength, and my fortress, and my refuge in the day of affliction, the Gentiles shall come unto you from the ends of the earth, and shall say, Surely our fathers have inherited lies, vanity, and things wherein there is no profit.
16:20 인생이 어찌 신 아닌 것을 자기의 신으로 삼겠나이까 하리이다
16:20 Shall a man make gods unto himself, and they are no gods?
16:21 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 이번에 그들에게 내 손과 내 능을 알려서 그들로 내 이름이 여호와인 줄 알게 하리라
16:21 Therefore, behold, I will this once cause them to know, I will cause them to know mine hand and my might; and they shall know that my name is The LORD.
17:1 유다의 죄는 금강석 끝 철필로 기록되되 그들의 마음 판과 그들의 단 뿔에 새겨졌거늘
17:1 The sin of Judah is written with a pen of iron, and with the point of a diamond: it is graven upon the table of their heart, and upon the horns of your altars;
17:2 그들의 자녀가 높은 메 위 푸른 나무 곁에 있는 그 단들과 아세라들을 생각하도다
17:2 Whilst their children remember their altars and their groves by the green trees upon the high hills.
17:3 들에 있는 나의 산아 네 온 지경의 죄로 인하여 내가 네 재산과 네 모든 보물과 산당들로 노략을 당하게 하리니
17:3 O my mountain in the field, I will give your substance and all your treasures to the spoil, and your high places for sin, throughout all your borders.
17:4 내가 네게 준 네 기업에서 네 손을 뗄 것이며 또 내가 너로 너의 알지 못하는 땅에서 네 대적을 섬기게 하리니 이는 너희가 내 노로 맹렬케 하여 영영히 타는 불을 일으켰음이니라
17:4 And you, even yourself, shall discontinue from yours heritage that I gave you; and I will cause you to serve yours enemies in the land which you know not: for all of you have kindled a fire in mine anger, which shall burn for ever.
17:5 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 무릇 사람을 믿으며 혈육으로 그 권력을 삼고 마음이 여호와에게서 떠난 그 사람은 저주를 받을 것이라
17:5 Thus says the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusts in man, and makes flesh his arm, and whose heart departs from the LORD.
17:6 그는 사막의 떨기나무 같아서 좋은 일의 오는 것을 보지 못하고 광야 간조한 곳, 건건한 땅, 사람이 거하지 않는 땅에 거하리라
17:6 For he shall be like the heath in the desert, and shall not see when good comes; but shall inhabit the parched places in the wilderness, in a salt land and not inhabited.
17:7 그러나 무릇 여호와를 의지하며 여호와를 의뢰하는 그 사람은 복을 받을 것이라
17:7 Blessed is the man that trusts in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.
17:8 그는 물 가에 심기운 나무가 그 뿌리를 강변에 뻗치고 더위가 올지라도 두려워 아니하며 그 잎이 청청하며 가무는 해에도 걱정이 없고 결실이 그치지 아니함 같으리라
17:8 For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreads out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
17:9 ○ 만물보다 거짓되고 심히 부패한 것은 마음이라 누가 능히 이를 알리요마는
17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked: who can know it?
17:10 나 여호와는 심장을 살피며 폐부를 시험하고 각각 그 행위와 그 행실대로 보응하나니
17:10 I the LORD search the heart, I try the reins, even to give every man according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings.
17:11 불의로 치부하는 자는 자고새가 낳지 아니한 알을 품음 같아서 그 중년에 그것이 떠나겠고 필경은 어리석은 자가 되리라
17:11 As the partridge sits on eggs, and hatches them not; so he that gets riches, and not by right, shall leave them in the midst of his days, and at his end shall be a fool.
17:12 ○ 영화로우신 보좌여 원시부터 높이 계시며 우리의 성소이시며
17:12 A glorious high throne from the beginning is the place of our sanctuary.
17:13 이스라엘의 소망이신 여호와여 무릇 주를 버리는 자는 다 수치를 당할 것이라 무릇 여호와를 떠나는 자는 흙에 기록이 되오리니 이는 생수의 근원이신 여호와를 버림이니이다
17:13 O LORD, the hope of Israel, all that forsake you shall be ashamed, and they that depart from me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken the LORD, the fountain of living waters.
17:14 여호와여 주는 나의 찬송이시오니 나를 고치소서 그리하시면 내가 낫겠나이다 나를 구원하소서 그리하시면 내가 구원을 얻으리이다
17:14 Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for you are my praise.
17:15 그들이 내게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀이 어디 있느뇨 이제 임하게 할지어다 하나이다
17:15 Behold, they say unto me, Where is the word of the LORD? let it come now.
17:16 나는 목자의 직분에서 물러가지 아니하고 주를 좇았사오며 재앙의 날도 내가 원치 아니하였음을 주께서 아시는 바라 내 입술에서 나온 것이 주의 목전에 있나이다
17:16 As for me, I have not hastened from being a pastor to follow you: neither have I desired the woeful day; you know: that which came out of my lips was right before you.
17:17 주는 내게 두려움이 되지 마옵소서 재앙의 날에 주는 나의 피난처시니이다
17:17 Be not a terror unto me: you are my hope in the day of evil.
17:18 나를 박해하는 자로 수욕을 당케 하시고 나로 수욕을 당케 마옵소서 그들로 놀라게 하시고 나로 놀라게 마시옵소서 재앙의 날을 그들에게 임하게 하시며 배나 되는 멸망으로 그들을 멸하소서
17:18 Let them be confounded that persecute me, but let not me be confounded: let them be dismayed, but let not me be dismayed: bring upon them the day of evil, and destroy them with double destruction.
17:19 ○ 여호와께서 내게 이같이 말씀하시되 너는 가서 유다 왕들의 출입하는 평민의 문과 예루살렘 모든 문에 서서
17:19 Thus said the LORD unto me; Go and stand in the gate of the children of the people, whereby the kings of Judah come in, and by the which they go out, and in all the gates of Jerusalem;
17:20 무리에게 이르기를 이 문으로 들어오는 유다 왕들과 유다 모든 백성과 예루살렘 모든 거민 너희는 여호와의 말씀을 들을지어다
17:20 And say unto them, Hear all of you the word of the LORD, all of you kings of Judah, and all Judah, and all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, that enter in by these gates:
17:21 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 너희는 스스로 삼가서 안식일에 짐을 지고 예루살렘 문으로 들어오지 말며
17:21 Thus says the LORD; Take heed to yourselves, and bear no burden on the sabbath day, nor bring it in by the gates of Jerusalem;
17:22 안식일에 너희 집에서 짐을 내지 말며 아무 일이든지 하지 말아서 내가 너희 열조에게 명함 같이 안식일을 거룩히 할지어다
17:22 Neither carry forth a burden out of your houses on the sabbath day, neither do all of you any work, but hallow all of you the sabbath day, as I commanded your fathers.
17:23 그들은 청종치 아니하며 귀를 기울이지 아니하며 그 목을 곧게 하여 듣지 아니하며 교훈을 받지 아니하였느니라
17:23 But they obeyed not, neither inclined their ear, but made their neck stiff, that they might not hear, nor receive instruction.
17:24 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희가 만일 삼가 나를 청종하여 안식일에 짐을 지고 이 성문으로 들어오지 아니하며 안식일을 거룩히 하여 아무 일이든지 하지 아니하면
17:24 And it shall come to pass, if all of you diligently hearken unto me, says the LORD, to bring in no burden through the gates of this city on the sabbath day, but hallow the sabbath day, to do no work therein;
17:25 다윗의 위에 앉는 왕들과 방백들이 병거와 말을 타고 이 성문으로 들어오되 그들과 유다 모든 백성과 예루살렘 거민들이 함께 그리할 것이요 이 성은 영영히 있을 것이며
17:25 Then shall there enter into the gates of this city kings and princes sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, they, and their princes, the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem: and this city shall remain for ever.
17:26 사람들이 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘에 둘린 곳들과 베냐민 땅과 평지와 산지와 남방에서 이르러서 번제와 희생과 소제와 유향과 감사의 희생을 가지고 여호와의 집으로 오려니와
17:26 And they shall come from the cities of Judah, and from the places about Jerusalem, and from the land of Benjamin, and from the plain, and from the mountains, and from the south, bringing burnt offerings, and sacrifices, and food offerings, and incense, and bringing sacrifices of praise, unto the house of the LORD.
17:27 너희가 나를 청종치 아니하고 안식일을 거룩케 아니하여 안식일에 짐을 지고 예루살렘 문으로 들어오면 내가 성문에 불을 놓아 예루살렘 궁전을 삼키게 하리니 그 불이 꺼지지 아니하리라 하셨다 할지니라
17:27 But if all of you will not hearken unto me to hallow the sabbath day, and not to bear a burden, even entering in at the gates of Jerusalem on the sabbath day; then will I kindle a fire in the gates thereof, and it shall devour the palaces of Jerusalem, and it shall not be quenched.
18:1 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 임한 말씀에 가라사대
18:1 The word which came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
18:2 너는 일어나 토기장이의 집으로 내려가라 내가 거기서 내 말을 네게 들리리라 하시기로
18:2 Arise, and go down to the potter's house, and there I will cause you to hear my words.
18:3 내가 토기장이의 집으로 내려가서 본즉 그가 녹로로 일을 하는데
18:3 Then I went down to the potter's house, and, behold, he wrought a work on the wheels.
18:4 진흙으로 만든 그릇이 토기장이의 손에서 파상하매 그가 그것으로 자기 의견에 선한 대로 다른 그릇을 만들더라
18:4 And the vessel that he made of clay was ruined in the hand of the potter: so he made it again another vessel, as seemed good to the potter to make it.
18:5 ○ 때에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하니라 가라사대
18:5 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
18:6 나 여호와가 이르노라 이스라엘 족속아 이 토기장이의 하는 것 같이 내가 능히 너희에게 행하지 못하겠느냐 이스라엘 족속아 진흙이 토기장이의 손에 있음 같이 너희가 내 손에 있느니라
18:6 O house of Israel, cannot I do with you as this potter? says the LORD. Behold, as the clay is in the potter's hand, so are all of you in mine hand, O house of Israel.
18:7 내가 언제든지 어느 민족이나 국가를 뽑거나 파하거나 멸하리라 한다고 하자
18:7 At what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to pluck up, and to pull down, and to destroy it;
18:8 만일 나의 말한 그 민족이 그 악에서 돌이키면 내가 그에게 내리기로 생각하였던 재앙에 대하여 뜻을 돌이키겠고
18:8 If that nation, against whom I have pronounced, turn from their evil, I will repent of the evil that I thought to do unto them.
18:9 내가 언제든지 어느 민족이나 국가를 건설하거나 심으리라 한다고 하자
18:9 And at what instant I shall speak concerning a nation, and concerning a kingdom, to build and to plant it;
18:10 만일 그들이 나 보기에 악한 것을 행하여 내 목소리를 청종치 아니하면 내가 그에게 유익케 하리라 한 선에 대하여 뜻을 돌이키리라
18:10 If it do evil in my sight, that it obey not my voice, then I will repent of the good, wherewith I said I would benefit them.
18:11 그러므로 이제 너는 유다 사람들과 예루살렘 거민들에게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 너희에게 재앙을 내리며 계책을 베풀어 너희를 치려 하노니 너희는 각기 악한 길에서 돌이키며 너희 길과 행위를 선하게 하라 하셨다 하라
18:11 Now therefore go to, speak to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I frame evil against you, and devise a device against you: return all of you now every one from his evil way, and make your ways and your doings good.
18:12 그러나 그들이 말하기를 이는 헛된 말이라 우리는 우리의 도모대로 행하며 우리는 각기 악한 마음의 강퍅한 대로 행하리라 하느니라
18:12 And they said, There is no hope: but we will walk after our own devices, and we will every one do the imagination of his evil heart.
18:13 ○ 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 누가 이러한 일을 들었는가 열방 중에 물어보라 처녀 이스라엘이 심히 가증한 일을 행하였도다
18:13 Therefore thus says the LORD; Ask all of you now among the heathen, who has heard such things: the virgin of Israel has done a very horrible thing.
18:14 레바논의 눈이 어찌 들의 반석을 떠나겠으며 원방에서 흘러내리는 찬물이 어찌 마르겠느냐
18:14 Will a man leave the snow of Lebanon which comes from the rock of the field? or shall the cold flowing waters that come from another place be forsaken?
18:15 대저 내 백성은 나를 잊고 허무한 것에게 분향하거니와 이러한 것들은 그들로 그 길 곧 그 옛길에서 넘어지게 하며 곁길 곧 닦지 아니한 길로 행케 하여
18:15 Because my people has forgotten me, they have burned incense to vanity, and they have caused them to stumble in their ways from the ancient paths, to walk in paths, in a road not properly built;
18:16 그들의 땅으로 놀랍고 영영한 치소가 되게 하리니 그리로 지나는 자마다 놀라서 그 머리를 흔들리라
18:16 To make their land desolate, and a perpetual hissing; every one that passes thereby shall be astonished, and shake his head.
18:17 내가 그들을 그 원수 앞에서 흩기를 동풍으로 함 같이 할 것이며 그들의 재난의 날에는 내가 그들에게 등을 보이고 얼굴을 보이지 아니하리라
18:17 I will scatter them as with an east wind before the enemy; I will show them the back, and not the face, in the day of their calamity.
18:18 ○ 그들이 말하기를 오라 우리가 꾀를 내어 예레미야를 치자 제사장에게서 율법이, 지혜로운 자에게서 모략이, 선지자에게서 말씀이 끊어지지 아니할 것이니 오라 우리가 혀로 그를 치고 그의 아무 말에도 주의치 말자 하나이다
18:18 Then said they, Come and let us devise devices against Jeremiah; for the law shall not perish from the priest, nor counsel from the wise, nor the word from the prophet. Come, and let us strike him with the tongue, and let us not give heed to any of his words.
18:19 ○ 여호와여 나를 돌아보사 나로 더불어 다투는 그들의 목소리를 들어보옵소서
18:19 Give heed to me, O LORD, and hearken to the voice of them that contend with me.
18:20 어찌 악으로 선을 갚으리이까마는 그들이 나의 생명을 해하려고 구덩이를 팠나이다 내가 주의 분노를 그들에게서 돌이키려 하고 주의 앞에 서서 그들을 위하여 선한 말씀한 것을 기억하옵소서
18:20 Shall evil be recompensed for good? for they have dug a pit for my soul. Remember that I stood before you to speak good for them, and to turn away your wrath from them.
18:21 그러하온즉 그들의 자녀를 기근에 내어 주시며 그들을 칼의 세력에 붙이시며 그들의 아내들은 자녀를 잃고 과부가 되며 그 장정은 사망을 당하며 그 청년은 전장에서 칼을 맞게 하시며
18:21 Therefore deliver up their children to the famine, and pour out their blood by the force of the sword; and let their wives be bereaved of their children, and be widows; and let their men be put to death; let their young men be slain by the sword in battle.
18:22 주께서 군대로 졸지에 그들에게 임하게 하사 그들의 집에서 부르짖음이 들리게 하옵소서 이는 그들이 나를 취하려고 구덩이를 팠고 내 발을 빠치려고 올무를 베풀었음이니이다
18:22 Let a cry be heard from their houses, when you shall bring a troop suddenly upon them: for they have dug a pit to take me, and hid snares for my feet.
18:23 여호와여 그들이 나를 죽이려 하는 계략을 주께서 다 아시오니 그 악을 사하지 마시며 그 죄를 주의 목전에서 도말치 마시고 그들로 주의 앞에 넘어지게 하시되 주의 노하시는 때에 이같이 그들에게 행하옵소서
18:23 Yet, LORD, you know all their counsel against me to slay me: forgive not their iniquity, neither blot out their sin from your sight, but let them be overthrown before you; deal thus with them in the time of yours anger.
19:1 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 가서 토기장이의 오지병을 사고 백성의 어른들과 제사장의 어른 몇 사람을 데리고
19:1 Thus says the LORD, Go and get a potter's earthen bottle, and take of the ancients of the people, and of the ancients of the priests;
19:2 하시드 문 어귀 곁에 있는 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기로 가서 거기서 내가 네게 이른 말을 선포하여
19:2 And go forth unto the valley of the son of Hinnom, which is by the entry of the east gate, and proclaim there the words that I shall tell you,
19:3 이르기를 너희 유다 왕들과 예루살렘 거민아 여호와의 말씀을 들으라 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 이곳에 재앙을 내릴 것이라 무릇 그것을 듣는 자의 귀가 진동하리니
19:3 And say, Hear all of you the word of the LORD, O kings of Judah, and inhabitants of Jerusalem; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, the which whosoever hears, his ears shall tingle.
19:4 이는 그들이 나를 버리고 이곳을 불결케 하며 이곳에서 자기와 자기 열조와 유다 왕들의 알지 못하던 다른 신들에게 분향하며 무죄한 자의 피로 이곳에 채웠음이며
19:4 Because they have forsaken me, and have cut off this place, and have burned incense in it unto other gods, whom neither they nor their fathers have known, nor the kings of Judah, and have filled this place with the blood of innocent persons;
19:5 또 그들이 바알을 위하여 산당을 건축하고 자기 아들들을 바알에게 번제로 불살라 드렸나니 이는 내가 명하거나 말하거나 뜻한 바가 아니니라
19:5 They have built also the high places of Baal, to burn their sons with fire for burnt offerings unto Baal, which I commanded not, nor spoke it, neither came it into my mind:
19:6 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 다시는 이곳을 도벳이나 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기라 칭하지 아니하고 살륙의 골짜기라 칭하는 날이 이를 것이라
19:6 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that this place shall no more be called Tophet, nor The valley of the son of Hinnom, but The valley of slaughter.
19:7 내가 이곳에서 유다와 예루살렘의 모계를 무효케 하여 그들로 그 대적 앞과 생명을 찾는 자의 손의 칼에 엎드러지게 하고 그 시체를 공중의 새와 땅 짐승의 밥이 되게 하며
19:7 And I will make void the counsel of Judah and Jerusalem in this place; and I will cause them to fall by the sword before their enemies, and by the hands of them that seek their lives: and their carcasses will I give to be food for the fowls of the heaven, and for the beasts of the earth.
19:8 이 성으로 놀람과 모욕거리가 되게 하리니 그 모든 재앙을 인하여 지나는 자마다 놀라며 모욕할 것이며
19:8 And I will make this city desolate, and an hissing; every one that passes thereby shall be astonished and hiss because of all the plagues thereof.
19:9 그들이 그 대적과 그들의 생명을 찾는 자에게 둘러싸여 곤핍을 당할 때에 내가 그들로 그 아들의 고기, 딸의 고기를 먹게 하고 또 각기 친구의 고기를 먹게 하리라 하셨다 하고
19:9 And I will cause them to eat the flesh of their sons and the flesh of their daughters, and they shall eat every one the flesh of his friend in the siege and strictness, wherewith their enemies, and they that seek their lives, shall straiten them.
19:10 너는 함께 가는 자의 목전에서 그 오지병을 깨뜨리고
19:10 Then shall you break the bottle in the sight of the men that go with you,
19:11 그들에게 이르기를 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 사람이 토기장이의 그릇을 한 번 깨뜨리면 다시 완전하게 할 수 없나니 이와 같이 내가 이 백성과 이 성을 파하리니 그들을 매장할 자리가 없도록 도벳에 장사하리라
19:11 And shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Even so will I break this people and this city, as one breaks a potter's vessel, that cannot be made whole again: and they shall bury them in Tophet, till there be no place to bury.
19:12 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 이곳과 그 중 거민에게 이같이 행하여 이 성으로 도벳 같게 할 것이라
19:12 Thus will I do unto this place, says the LORD, and to the inhabitants thereof, and even make this city as Tophet:
19:13 예루살렘 집들과 유다 왕들의 집들 곧 그 집들이 그 집 위에서 하늘의 만상에 분향하고 다른 신들에게 전제를 부음으로 더러워졌은즉 도벳 땅처럼 되리라 하셨다 하라
19:13 And the houses of Jerusalem, and the houses of the kings of Judah, shall be defiled as the place of Tophet, because of all the houses upon whose roofs they have burned incense unto all the host of heaven, and have poured out drink offerings unto other gods.
19:14 ○ 예레미야가 여호와께서 자기를 보내사 예언하게 하신 도벳에서 돌아와 여호와의 집 뜰에 서서 모든 백성에게 말하되
19:14 Then came Jeremiah from Tophet, where the LORD had sent him to prophesy; and he stood in the court of the LORD's house; and said to all the people,
19:15 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 이 성에 대하여 선언한 모든 재앙을 이 성과 그 모든 촌락에 내리리니 이는 그 목을 곧게 하여 내 말을 듣지 아니함이니라 하셨다 하라
19:15 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon this city and upon all her towns all the evil that I have pronounced against it, because they have hardened their necks, that they might not hear my words.
20:1 제사장 임멜의 아들 바스훌은 여호와의 집 유사장이라 그가 예레미야의 이 일 예언함을 들은지라
20:1 Now Pashur the son of Immer the priest, who was also chief governor in the house of the LORD, heard that Jeremiah prophesied these things.
20:2 이에 바스훌이 선지자 예레미야를 때리고 여호와의 집 베냐민의 윗문에 있는 착고에 채웠더니
20:2 Then Pashur stroke Jeremiah the prophet, and put him in the stocks that were in the high gate of Benjamin, which was by the house of the LORD.
20:3 다음날 바스훌이 예레미야를 착고에서 놓아 주매 예레미야가 그에게 이르되 여호와께서 네 이름을 바스훌이라 아니하시고 마골밋사빕이라 하시느니라
20:3 And it came to pass on the next day, that Pashur brought forth Jeremiah out of the stocks. Then said Jeremiah unto him, The LORD has not called your name Pashur, but Magormissabib.
20:4 대저 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 너로 너와 네 모든 친구에게 두려움이 되게 하리니 그들이 그 원수의 칼에 엎드러질 것이요 네 눈은 그것을 볼 것이며 내가 온 유다를 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이리니 그가 그들을 사로잡아 바벨론으로 옮겨 칼로 죽이리라
20:4 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will make you a terror to yourself, and to all your friends: and they shall fall by the sword of their enemies, and yours eyes shall behold it: and I will give all Judah into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall carry them captive into Babylon, and shall slay them with the sword.
20:5 내가 또 이 성의 모든 부와 그 모든 소득과 그 모든 귀물과 유다 왕들의 모든 보물을 그 원수의 손에 붙이리니 그들이 그것을 탈취하여 바벨론으로 가져가리라
20:5 Moreover I will deliver all the strength of this city, and all the labours thereof, and all the precious things thereof, and all the treasures of the kings of Judah will I give into the hand of their enemies, which shall spoil them, and take them, and carry them to Babylon.
20:6 바스훌아 너와 네 집에 거하는 모든 자가 포로되어 옮기우리니 네가 바벨론에 이르러 거기서 죽어 거기 묻힐 것이라 너와 네가 거짓 예언을 하여 들린 네 모든 친구도 일반이리라 하셨느니라
20:6 And you, Pashur, and all that dwell in yours house shall go into captivity: and you shall come to Babylon, and there you shall die, and shall be buried there, you, and all your friends, to whom you have prophesied lies.
20:7 ○ 여호와여 주께서 나를 권유하시므로 내가 그 권유를 받았사오며 주께서 나보다 강하사 이기셨으므로 내가 조롱거리가 되니 사람마다 종일토록 나를 조롱하나이다
20:7 O LORD, you have deceived me, and I was deceived; you are stronger than I, and have prevailed: I am in derision daily, every one mocks me.
20:8 대저 내가 말할 때마다 외치며 강포와 멸망을 부르짖으오니 여호와의 말씀으로 하여 내가 종일토록 치욕과 모욕거리가 됨이니이다
20:8 For since I spoke, I cried out, I cried violence and spoil; because the word of the LORD was made a reproach unto me, and a derision, daily.
20:9 내가 다시는 여호와를 선포하지 아니하며 그 이름으로 말하지 아니하리라 하면 나의 중심이 불붙는 것 같아서 골수에 사무치니 답답하여 견딜 수 없나이다
20:9 Then I said, I will not make mention of him, nor speak any more in his name. But his word was in mine heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones, and I was weary with forbearing, and I could not stay.
20:10 나는 무리의 비방과 사방의 두려움을 들었나이다 그들이 이르기를 고소하라 우리도 고소하리라 하오며 나의 친한 벗도 다 나의 타락하기를 기다리며 피차 이르기를 그가 혹시 유혹을 받으리니 우리가 그를 이기어 우리 원수를 갚자 하나이다
20:10 For I heard the defaming of many, fear on every side. Report, say they, and we will report it. All my familiars watched for my halting, saying, Possibly he will be enticed, and we shall prevail against him, and we shall take our revenge on him.
20:11 그러하오나 여호와는 두려운 용사 같으시며 나와 함께 하시는 고로 나를 박해하는 자가 넘어지고 이기지 못할 것이오며 그들은 지혜롭게 행치 못하므로 큰 수욕을 당하오리니 그 수욕은 영영히 잊지 못할 것이니이다
20:11 But the LORD is with me as a mighty terrible one: therefore my persecutors shall stumble, and they shall not prevail: they shall be greatly ashamed; for they shall not prosper: their everlasting confusion shall never be forgotten.
20:12 의인을 시험하사 그 폐부와 심장을 보시는 만군의 여호와여 나의 사정을 주께 아뢰었사온즉 주께서 그들에게 보수하심을 나로 보게 하옵소서
20:12 But, O LORD of hosts, that try the righteous, and see the reins and the heart, let me see your vengeance on them: for unto you have I opened my cause.
20:13 여호와께 노래하라 너희는 여호와를 찬양하라 가난한 자의 생명을 행악자의 손에서 구원하셨음이니라
20:13 Sing unto the LORD, praise all of you the LORD: for he has delivered the soul of the poor from the hand of evildoers.
20:14 ○ 내 생일이 저주를 받았더면, 나의 어미가 나를 생산하던 날이 복이 없었더면,
20:14 Cursed be the day wherein I was born: let not the day wherein my mother bare me be blessed.
20:15 나의 아비에게 소식을 전하여 이르기를 네가 생남하였다 하여 아비를 즐겁게 하던 자가 저주를 받았더면,
20:15 Cursed be the man who brought tidings to my father, saying, A male child is born unto you; making him very glad.
20:16 그 사람은 여호와께서 훼파하시고 후회치 아니하신 성읍 같이 되었더면, 그로 아침에는 부르짖는 소리, 낮에는 떠드는 소리를 듣게 하였더면,
20:16 And let that man be as the cities which the LORD overthrew, and repented not: and let him hear the cry in the morning, and the shouting at noontide;
20:17 이는 그가 나를 태에서 죽이지 아니하셨으며 나의 어미로 내 무덤이 되게 하지 아니하셨으며 그 배로 항상 부르게 하지 아니하신 연고로다
20:17 Because he slew me not from the womb; or that my mother might have been my grave, and her womb to be always great with me.
20:18 어찌하여 내가 태에서 나와서 고생과 슬픔을 보며 나의 날을 수욕으로 보내는고
20:18 Wherefore came I forth out of the womb to see labour and sorrow, that my days should be consumed with shame?
21:1-2 시드기야 왕이 말기야의 아들 바스훌과 제사장 마아세야의 아들 스바냐를 보내어 예레미야에게 말하기를 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 우리를 치니 청컨대 너는 우리를 위하여 여호와께 간구하라 여호와께서 혹시 그 모든 기사로 우리를 도와 행하시면 그가 우리를 떠나리라 하던 그 때에 여호와께로부터 예레미야에게 말씀이 임하니라
21:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when king Zedekiah sent unto him Pashur the son of Melchiah, and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, saying, 21:2 Enquire, I pray you, of the LORD for us; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon makes war against us; if so be that the LORD will deal with us according to all his wondrous works, that he may go up from us.
21:3 ○ 예레미야가 그들에게 대답하되 너희는 시드기야에게 이같이 말하라
21:3 Then said Jeremiah unto them, Thus shall all of you say to Zedekiah:
21:4 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 너희가 성 밖에서 바벨론 왕과 또 너희를 에운 갈대아인과 싸우는 바 너희 손에 가진 병기를 내가 돌이킬 것이요 그들을 이 성중에 모아 들이리라
21:4 Thus says the LORD God of Israel; Behold, I will turn back the weapons of war that are in your hands, wherewith all of you fight against the king of Babylon, and against the Chaldeans, which besiege you without the walls, and I will assemble them into the midst of this city.
21:5 내가 든 손과 강한 팔 곧 노와 분과 대노로 친히 너희를 칠 것이며
21:5 And I myself will fight against you with an outstretched hand and with a strong arm, even in anger, and in fury, and in great wrath.
21:6 내가 또 이 성에 거주하는 자를 사람이나 짐승이나 다 치리니 그들이 큰 염병에 죽으리라 하셨다 하라
21:6 And I will strike the inhabitants of this city, both man and beast: they shall die of a great pestilence.
21:7 여호와께서 또 말씀하시되 그 후에 내가 유다 왕 시드기야와 그 신하들과 백성과 및 이 성읍에서 염병과 칼과 기근에서 남은 자를 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손과 그 대적의 손과 그 생명을 찾는 자들의 손에 붙이리니 그가 칼날로 그들을 치되 아끼지 아니하며 긍휼히 여기지 아니하며 불쌍히 여기지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
21:7 And afterward, says the LORD, I will deliver Zedekiah king of Judah, and his servants, and the people, and such as are left in this city from the pestilence, from the sword, and from the famine, into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of those that seek their life: and he shall strike them with the edge of the sword; he shall not spare them, neither have pity, nor have mercy.
21:8 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 너는 또 이 백성에게 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하신다 하라 보라 내가 너희 앞에 생명의 길과 사망의 길을 두었노니
21:8 And unto this people you shall say, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I set before you the way of life, and the way of death.
21:9 이 성에 거주하는 자는 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽으려니와 너희를 에운 갈대아인에게 나가서 항복하는 자는 살리니 그의 생명은 노략한 것 같이 얻으리라
21:9 He that abides in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goes out, and falls to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.
21:10 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 나의 얼굴을 이 성으로 향함은 복을 위함이 아니요 화를 위함이라 이 성이 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙임이 될 것이요 그는 그것을 불로 사르리라
21:10 For I have set my face against this city for evil, and not for good, says the LORD: it shall be given into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire.
21:11 ○ 유다 왕의 집에 대한 여호와의 말을 들으라
21:11 And concerning the house of the king of Judah, say, Hear all of you the word of the LORD;
21:12 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 다윗의 집이여 너는 아침마다 공평히 판결하여 탈취 당한 자를 압박자의 손에서 건지라 그리하지 아니하면 너희의 악행을 인하여 내 노가 불 같이 일어나서 사르리니 능히 끌 자가 없으리라
21:12 O house of David, thus says the LORD; Execute judgment in the morning, and deliver him that is spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor, lest my fury go out like fire, and burn that none can quench it, because of the evil of your doings.
21:13 나 여호와가 이르노라 골짜기와 평원 반석의 거민아 보라 너희가 말하기를 누가 내려와서 우리를 치리요 누가 우리의 거처에 들어오리요 하거니와 나는 네 대적이라
21:13 Behold, I am against you, O inhabitant of the valley, and rock of the plain, says the LORD; which say, Who shall come down against us? or who shall enter into our habitations?
21:14 내가 너희 행위대로 벌할 것이요 내가 또 수풀에 불을 놓아 그 사경을 사르리라 여호와의 말이니라
21:14 But I will punish you according to the fruit of your doings, says the LORD: and I will kindle a fire in the forest thereof, and it shall devour all things round about it.
22:1 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 너는 유다 왕의 집에 내려가서 거기서 이를 선언하여
22:1 Thus says the LORD; Go down to the house of the king of Judah, and speak there this word,
22:2 이르기를 다윗의 위에 않은 유다 왕이여 너와 네 신하와 이 문들로 들어오는 네 백성은 여호와의 말씀을 들을지니라
22:2 And say, Hear the word of the LORD, O king of Judah, that sit upon the throne of David, you, and your servants, and your people that enter in by these gates:
22:3 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 너희가 공평과 정의를 행하여 탈취 당한 자를 압박하는 자의 손에서 건지고 이방인과 고아와 과부를 압제하거나 학대하지 말며 이곳에서 무죄한 피를 흘리지 말라
22:3 Thus says the LORD; Execute all of you judgment and righteousness, and deliver the spoiled out of the hand of the oppressor: and do no wrong, do no violence to the stranger, the fatherless, nor the widow, neither shed innocent blood in this place.
22:4 너희가 참으로 이 말을 준행하면 다윗의 위에 않을 왕들과 신하들과 백성이 병거와 말을 타고 이 집 문으로 들어오게 되리라마는
22:4 For if all of you do this thing indeed, then shall there enter in by the gates of this house kings sitting upon the throne of David, riding in chariots and on horses, he, and his servants, and his people.
22:5 너희가 이 말을 듣지 아니하면 내가 나로 맹세하노니 이 집이 황무하리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
22:5 But if all of you will not hear these words, I swear by myself, says the LORD, that this house shall become a desolation.
22:6 나 여호와가 유다 왕의 집에 대하여 이같이 말하노라 네가 내게 길르앗 같고 레바논의 꼭대기 같으나 내가 정녕히 너로 광야와 거민이 없는 성을 만들 것이라
22:6 For thus says the LORD unto the king's house of Judah; You are Gilead unto me, and the head of Lebanon: yet surely I will make you a wilderness, and cities which are not inhabited.
22:7 내가 너 파멸할 자를 준비하리니 그들이 각기 손에 병기를 가지고 네 아름다운 백향목을 찍어 불에 던지리라
22:7 And I will prepare destroyers against you, every one with his weapons: and they shall cut down your choice cedars, and cast them into the fire.
22:8 여러 나라 사람이 이 성으로 지나며 피차 말하기를 여호와가 이 큰 성에 이같이 행함은 어찜인고 하겠고
22:8 And many nations shall pass by this city, and they shall say every man to his neighbour, Wherefore has the LORD done thus unto this great city?
22:9 대답하기는 이는 그들이 자기 하나님 여호와의 언약을 버리고 다른 신들에게 절하고 그를 섬긴 연고라 하리라 하셨다 할지니라
22:9 Then they shall answer, Because they have forsaken the covenant of the LORD their God, and worshipped other gods, and served them.
22:10 ○ 너희는 죽은 자를 위하여 울지 말며 그를 위하여 애통하지 말고 잡혀간 자를 위하여 슬피 울라 그는 다시 돌아와서 그 고국을 보지 못할 것임이니라
22:10 Weep all of you not for the dead, neither lament for him: but weep sore for him that goes away: for he shall return no more, nor see his native country.
22:11 나 여호와가 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 곧 그 아비 요시야를 이어 왕이 되었다가 이곳에서 나간 살룸에 대하여 말하노라 그가 이곳으로 다시 돌아오지 못하고
22:11 For thus says the LORD concerning Shallum the son of Josiah king of Judah, which reigned instead of Josiah his father, which went forth out of this place; He shall not return thither any more:
22:12 잡혀간 곳에서 죽으리니 이 땅을 다시 보지 못하리라
22:12 But he shall die in the place where they have led him captive, and shall see this land no more.
22:13 ○ 불의로 그 집을 세우며 불공평으로 그 다락방을 지으며 그 이웃을 고용하고 그 고가를 주지 아니하는 자에게 화 있을진저
22:13 Woe unto him that builds his house by unrighteousness, and his chambers by wrong; that uses his neighbour's service without wages, and gives him not for his work;
22:14 그가 이르기를 내가 나를 위하여 광대한 집과 광활한 다락방을 지으리라 하고 자기를 위하여 창을 만들고 그것에 백향목으로 입히고 붉은 빛으로 칠하도다
22:14 That says, I will build me a wide house and large chambers, and cuts him out windows; and it is covered over with cedar, and painted with vermilion.
22:15 네가 백향목으로 집 짓기를 경쟁하므로 왕이 될 수 있겠느냐 네 아비가 먹으며 마시지 아니하였으며 공평과 의리를 행치 아니하였느냐 그 때에 그가 형통하였었느니라
22:15 Shall you reign, because you close yourself in cedar? did not your father eat and drink, and do judgment and justice, and then it was well with him?
22:16 그는 가난한 자와 궁핍한 자를 신원하고 형통하였나니 이것이 나를 앎이 아니냐 여호와의 말이니라
22:16 He judged the cause of the poor and needy; then it was well with him: was not this to know me? says the LORD.
22:17 그러나 네 눈과 마음은 탐람과 무죄한 피를 흘림과 압박과 강포를 행하려 할 뿐이니라
22:17 But yours eyes and yours heart are not but for your covetousness, and in order to shed innocent blood, and for oppression, and for violence, to do it.
22:18 그러므로 나 여호와가 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김에게 대하여 이같이 말하노라 무리가 그를 위하여 슬프다 내 형제여, 슬프다 내 자매여 하며 통곡하지 아니할 것이며 그를 위하여 슬프다 주여 슬프다 그 영광이여 하며 통곡하지도 아니할 것이라
22:18 Therefore thus says the LORD concerning Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah; They shall not lament for him, saying, Ah my brother! or, Ah sister! they shall not lament for him, saying, Ah lord! or, Ah his glory!
22:19 그가 끌려 예루살렘을 문 밖에 던지우고 나귀 같이 매장함을 당하리라
22:19 He shall be buried with the burial of an ass, drawn and cast forth beyond the gates of Jerusalem.
22:20 ○ 너는 레바논에 올라 외치며 바산에서 네 소리를 높이며 아바림에서 외치라 이는 너를 사랑하는 자가 다 멸망하였음이니라
22:20 Go up to Lebanon, and cry; and lift up your voice in Bashan, and cry from the passages: for all your lovers are destroyed.
22:21 네가 평안할 때에 내가 네게 말하였으나 네 말이 나는 듣지 아니하리라 하였나니 네가 어려서부터 내 목소리를 청종치 아니함이 네 습관이라
22:21 I spoke unto you in your prosperity; but you said, I will not hear. This has been your manner from your youth, that you obeyed not my voice.
22:22 네 목자들은 다 바람에 삼키울 것이요 너를 사랑하는 자들은 사로잡혀 가리니 그 때에 네가 반드시 네 모든 악을 인하여 수치와 욕을 당하리라
22:22 The wind shall eat up all your pastors, and your lovers shall go into captivity: surely then shall you be ashamed and confounded for all your wickedness.
22:23 레바논에 거하여 백향목에 깃들이는 자여 여인의 해산하는 고통 같은 고통이 네게 임할 때에 너의 가련함이 얼마나 심하랴
22:23 O inhabitant of Lebanon, that make your nest in the cedars, how gracious shall you be when pangs come upon you, the pain as of a woman in travail!
22:24 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 나의 삶으로 맹세하노니 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 너 고니야가 나의 오른손의 인장 반지라 할지라도 내가 빼어
22:24 As I live, says the LORD, though Coniah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah were the signet upon my right hand, yet would I pluck you thence;
22:25 네 생명을 찾는 자의 손과 너의 두려워하는 자의 손 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손과 갈대아인의 손에 줄 것이라
22:25 And I will give you into the hand of them that seek your life, and into the hand of them whose face you fear, even into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of the Chaldeans.
22:26 내가 너와 너를 낳은 어미를 너희가 나지 아니한 다른 지방에 쫓아내리니 너희가 거기서 죽고
22:26 And I will cast you out, and your mother that bare you, into another country, where all of you were not born; and there shall all of you die.
22:27 너희 마음에 돌아오기를 사모하는 땅에 돌아오지 못하리라
22:27 But to the land unto which they desire to return, thither shall they not return.
22:28 이 사람 고니야는 천한 파기냐 좋아하지 아니하는 그릇이냐 어찌하여 그와 그 자손이 쫓겨나서 알지 못하는 땅에 들어갔는고
22:28 Is this man Coniah a despised broken idol? is he a vessel wherein is no pleasure? wherefore are they cast out, he and his seed, and are cast into a land which they know not?
22:29 땅이여, 땅이여, 땅이여, 여호와의 말을 들을지니라
22:29 O earth, earth, earth, hear the word of the LORD.
22:30 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 이 사람이 무자하겠고 그 평생에 형통치 못할 자라 기록하라 이는 그 자손 중 형통하여 다윗의 위에 앉아 유다를 다스릴 사람이 다시는 없을 것임이니라
22:30 Thus says the LORD, Write all of you this man childless, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for no man of his seed shall prosper, sitting upon the throne of David, and ruling any more in Judah.
23:1 나 여호와가 말하노라 내 목장의 양 무리를 멸하며 흩는 목자에게 화 있으리라
23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! says the LORD.
23:2 그러므로 이스라엘 하나님 나 여호와가 내 백성을 기르는 목자에게 이같이 말하노라 너희가 내 양 무리를 흩으며 그것을 몰아내고 돌아보지 아니하였도다 보라 내가 너희의 악행을 인하여 너희에게 보응하리라 여호와의 말이니라
23:2 Therefore thus says the LORD God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; All of you have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, says the LORD.
23:3 내가 내 양 무리의 남은 자를 그 몰려갔던 모든 지방에서 모아 내어 다시 그 우리로 돌아오게 하리니 그들의 생육이 번성할 것이며
23:3 And I will gather the remnant of my flock out of all countries where I have driven them, and will bring them again to their folds; and they shall be fruitful and increase.
23:4 내가 그들을 기르는 목자들을 그들 위에 세우리니 그들이 다시는 두려워하거나 놀라거나 축이 나지 아니하리라 여호와의 말이니라
23:4 And I will set up shepherds over them which shall feed them: and they shall fear no more, nor be dismayed, neither shall they be lacking, says the LORD.
23:5 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 때가 이르리니 내가 다윗에게 한 의로운 가지를 일으킬 것이라 그가 왕이 되어 지혜롭게 행사하며 세상에서 공평과 정의를 행할 것이며
23:5 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.
23:6 그의 날에 유다는 구원을 얻겠고 이스라엘은 평안히 거할 것이며 그 이름은 여호와 우리의 의라 일컬음을 받으리라
23:6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, THE LORD OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS.
23:7 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 날이 이르리니 그들이 다시는 이스라엘 자손을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내신 여호와의 사심으로 맹세하지 아니하고
23:7 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that they shall no more say, The LORD lives, which brought up the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt;
23:8 이스라엘 집 자손을 북방 땅, 그 모든 쫓겨났던 나라에서 인도하여 내신 여호와의 사심으로 맹세할 것이며 그들이 자기 땅에 거하리라 하시니라
23:8 But, The LORD lives, which brought up and which led the seed of the house of Israel out of the north country, and from all countries where I had driven them; and they shall dwell in their own land.
23:9 ○ 선지자들에 대한 말씀이라 ○ 내 중심이 상하며 내 모든 뼈가 떨리며 내가 취한 사람 같으며 포도주에 잡힌 사람 같으니 이는 여호와와 그 거룩한 말씀을 인함이라
23:9 Mine heart within me is broken because of the prophets; all my bones shake; I am like a drunken man, and like a man whom wine has overcome, because of the LORD, and because of the words of his holiness.
23:10 이 땅에 행음하는 자가 가득하도다 저주로 인하여 땅이 슬퍼하며 광야의 초장들이 마르나니 그들의 행위가 악하고 힘쓰는 것이 정직하지 못함이로다
23:10 For the land is full of adulterers; for because of swearing the land mourns; the pleasant places of the wilderness are dried up, and their course is evil, and their force is not right.
23:11 여호와께서 말씀하시되 선지자와 제사장이 다 사특한지라 내가 내 집에서도 그들의 악을 발견하였노라
23:11 For both prophet and priest are profane; yea, in my house have I found their wickedness, says the LORD.
23:12 그러므로 그들의 길이 그들에게 흑암 중에 미끄러운 곳과 같이 되고 그들이 밀침을 받아 그 길에 엎드러질 것이라 그들을 벌하는 해에 내가 그들에게 재앙을 내리리라 여호와의 말이니라
23:12 Wherefore their way shall be unto them as slippery ways in the darkness: they shall be driven on, and fall therein: for I will bring evil upon them, even the year of their visitation, says the LORD.
23:13 ○ 내가 사마리아 선지자들 중에 우매함이 있음을 보았나니 그들은 바알을 의탁하고 예언하여 내 백성 이스라엘을 그릇되게 하였고
23:13 And I have seen folly in the prophets of Samaria; they prophesied in Baal, and caused my people Israel to go astray.
23:14 내가 예루살렘 선지자들 중에도 가증한 일이 있음을 보았나니 그들은 간음을 행하며 행악자의 손을 굳게 하여 사람으로 그 악에서 돌이킴이 없게 하였은즉 그들은 다 내 앞에서 소돔 사람과 다름이 없고 그 거민은 고모라 사람과 다름이 없느니라
23:14 I have seen also in the prophets of Jerusalem an horrible thing: they commit adultery, and walk in lies: they strengthen also the hands of evildoers, that none does return from his wickedness; they are all of them unto me as Sodom, and the inhabitants thereof as Gomorrah.
23:15 그러므로 만군의 여호와 내가 선지자에 대하여 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 그들에게 쑥을 먹이며 독한 물을 마시우리니 이는 사악이 예루살렘 선지자들에게로서 나와서 온 땅에 퍼짐이라 하시니라
23:15 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the prophets; Behold, I will feed them with wormwood, and make them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Jerusalem is profaneness gone forth into all the land.
23:16 ○ 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라 그들은 너희에게 헛된 것을 가르치나니 그들의 말한 묵시는 자기 마음으로 말미암은 것이요 여호와의 입에서 나온 것이 아니니라
23:16 Thus says the LORD of hosts, Hearken not unto the words of the prophets that prophesy unto you: they make you vain: they speak a vision of their own heart, and not out of the mouth of the LORD.
23:17 항상 그들이 나를 멸시하는 자에게 이르기를 너희가 평안하리라 여호와의 말씀이니라 하며 또 자기 마음의 강퍅한 대로 행하는 모든 사람에게 이르기를 재앙이 너희에게 임하지 아니하리라 하였느니라
23:17 They say still unto them that despise me, The LORD has said, All of you shall have peace; and they say unto every one that walks after the imagination of his own heart, No evil shall come upon you.
23:18 누가 여호와의 회의에 참여하여 그 말을 알아들었으며 누가 귀를 기울여 그 말을 들었느뇨
23:18 For who has stood in the counsel of the LORD, and has perceived and heard his word? who has marked his word, and heard it?
23:19 보라 나 여호와의 노가 발하여 폭풍과 회리바람처럼 악인의 머리를 칠 것이라
23:19 Behold, a whirlwind of the LORD is gone forth in fury, even a grievous whirlwind: it shall fall grievously upon the head of the wicked.
23:20 나 여호와의 노는 내 마음의 뜻하는 바를 행하여 이루기까지는 쉬지 아니하나니 너희가 말일에 그것을 완전히 깨달으리라
23:20 The anger of the LORD shall not return, until he have executed, and till he have performed the thoughts of his heart: in the latter days all of you shall consider it perfectly.
23:21 이 선지자들은 내가 보내지 아니하였어도 달음질하며 내가 그들에게 이르지 아니하였어도 예언하였은즉
23:21 I have not sent these prophets, yet they ran: I have not spoken to them, yet they prophesied.
23:22 그들이 만일 나의 회의에 참여하였더면 내 백성에게 내 말을 들려서 그들로 악한 길과 악한 행위에서 돌이키게 하였으리라
23:22 But if they had stood in my counsel, and had caused my people to hear my words, then they should have turned them from their evil way, and from the evil of their doings.
23:23 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 나는 가까운 데 하나님이요 먼 데 하나님은 아니냐
23:23 Am I a God at hand, says the LORD, and not a God far off?
23:24 나 여호와가 말하노라 사람이 내게 보이지 아니하려고 누가 자기를 은밀한 곳에 숨길 수 있겠느냐 나 여호와가 말하노라 나는 천지에 충만하지 아니하냐
23:24 Can any hide himself in secret places that I shall not see him? says the LORD. Do not I fill heaven and earth? says the LORD.
23:25 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하는 선지자들의 말에 내가 몽사를 얻었다 몽사를 얻었다 함을 내가 들었노라
23:25 I have heard what the prophets said, that prophesy lies in my name, saying, I have dreamed, I have dreamed.
23:26 거짓을 예언하는 선지자들이 언제까지 이 마음을 품겠느냐 그들은 그 마음의 간교한 것을 예언하느니라
23:26 How long shall this be in the heart of the prophets that prophesy lies? yea, they are prophets of the deceit of their own heart;
23:27 그들이 서로 몽사를 말하니 그 생각인즉 그들의 열조가 바알로 인하여 내 이름을 잊어버린 것 같이 내 백성으로 내 이름을 잊게 하려 함이로다
23:27 Which think to cause my people to forget my name by their dreams which they tell every man to his neighbour, as their fathers have forgotten my name for Baal.
23:28 나 여호와가 말하노라 몽사를 얻은 선지자는 몽사를 말할 것이요 내 말을 받은 자는 성실함으로 내 말을 말할 것이라 겨와 밀을 어찌 비교하겠느냐
23:28 The prophet that has a dream, let him tell a dream; and he that has my word, let him speak my word faithfully. What is the chaff to the wheat? says the LORD.
23:29 나 여호와가 말하노라 내 말이 불 같지 아니하냐 반석을 쳐서 부스러뜨리는 방망이 같지 아니하냐
23:29 Is not my word like a fire? says the LORD; and like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces?
23:30 나 여호와가 말하노라 그러므로 보라 서로 내 말을 도적질하는 선지자들을 내가 치리라
23:30 Therefore, behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, that steal my words every one from his neighbour.
23:31 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 그들이 혀를 놀려 그가 말씀하셨다 하는 선지자들을 내가 치리라
23:31 Behold, I am against the prophets, says the LORD, that use their tongues, and say, He says.
23:32 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 거짓 몽사를 예언하여 이르며 거짓과 헛된 자만으로 내 백성을 미혹하게 하는 자를 내가 치리라 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였으며 명하지 아니하였나니 그들이 이 백성에게 아무 유익이 없느니라 여호와의 말이니라
23:32 Behold, I am against them that prophesy false dreams, says the LORD, and do tell them, and cause my people to go astray by their lies, and by their levity; yet I sent them not, nor commanded them: therefore they shall not profit this people at all, says the LORD.
23:33 ○ 이 백성이나 선지자나 제사장이 네게 물어 이르기를 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이 무엇이뇨 하거든 너는 그들에게 대답하기를 엄중한 말씀이 무엇이냐 하느냐 여호와의 말씀에 내가 너희를 버리리라 하셨고
23:33 And when this people, or the prophet, or a priest, shall ask you, saying, What is the burden of the LORD? you shall then say unto them, What burden? I will even forsake you, says the LORD.
23:34 또 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 하는 선지자에게나 제사장에게나 백성에게는 내가 그 사람과 그 집에 벌하리라 하셨다 하고
23:34 And as for the prophet, and the priest, and the people, that shall say, The burden of the LORD, I will even punish that man and his house.
23:35 너는 또 말하기를 너희는 서로 이웃과 형제에게 묻기를 여호와께서 무엇이라 응답하셨으며 무엇이라 말씀하셨느뇨 하고
23:35 Thus shall all of you say every one to his neighbour, and every one to his brother, What has the LORD answered? and, What has the LORD spoken?
23:36 다시는 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 말하지 말라 각 사람의 말이 자기에게 중벌이 되리니 이는 너희가 사시는 하나님, 만군의 여호와 우리 하나님의 말씀을 망령되이 씀이니라 하고
23:36 And the burden of the LORD shall all of you mention no more: for every man's word shall be his burden; for all of you have perverted the words of the living God, of the LORD of hosts our God.
23:37 너는 또 선지자에게 말하기를 여호와께서 네게 무엇이라 대답하셨으며 여호와께서 무엇이라 말씀하셨느뇨
23:37 Thus shall you say to the prophet, What has the LORD answered you? and, What has the LORD spoken?
23:38 너희는 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 말하도다 그러므로 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 너희에게 보내어 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 하지 말라 하였어도 너희가 여호와의 엄중한 말씀이라 하였은즉
23:38 But since all of you say, The burden of the LORD; therefore thus says the LORD; Because all of you say this word, The burden of the LORD, and I have sent unto you, saying, All of you shall not say, The burden of the LORD;
23:39 내가 너희를 온전히 잊어버리며 내가 너희와 너희 열조에게 준 이 성읍을 내 앞에서 내어 버려
23:39 Therefore, behold, I, even I, will utterly forget you, and I will forsake you, and the city that I gave you and your fathers, and cast you out of my presence:
23:40 너희로 영원한 치욕과 잊지 못할 영구한 수치를 당케 하리라 하셨다 할지니라
23:40 And I will bring an everlasting reproach upon you, and a perpetual shame, which shall not be forgotten.
24:1 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고냐와 유다 방백들과 목공들과 철공들을 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 옮긴 후에 여호와께서 여호와의 전 앞에 놓인 무화과 두 광주리로 내게 보이셨는데
24:1 The LORD showed me, and, behold, two baskets of figs were set before the temple of the LORD, after that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon had carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, and the princes of Judah, with the carpenters and smiths, from Jerusalem, and had brought them to Babylon.
24:2 한 광주리에는 처음 익은 듯한 극히 좋은 무화과가 있고 한 광주리에는 악하여 먹을 수 없는 극히 악한 무화과가 있더라
24:2 One basket had very good figs, even like the figs that are first ripe: and the other basket had very naughty figs, which could not be eaten, they were so bad.
24:3 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 예레미야야 네가 무엇을 보느냐 내가 대답하되 무화과이온데 그 좋은 무화과는 극히 좋고 그 악한 것은 극히 악하여 먹을 수 없게 악하니이다
24:3 Then said the LORD unto me, What see you, Jeremiah? And I said, Figs; the good figs, very good; and the evil, very evil, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
24:4 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 또 내게 임하니라 가라사대
24:4 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
24:5 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 이곳에서 옮겨 갈대아인의 땅에 이르게 한 유다 포로를 이 좋은 무화과 같이 보아 좋게 할 것이라
24:5 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Like these good figs, so will I acknowledge them that are carried away captive of Judah, whom I have sent out of this place into the land of the Chaldeans for their good.
24:6 내가 그들을 돌아보아 좋게 하여 다시 이 땅으로 인도하고 세우고 헐지 아니하며 심고 뽑지 아니하겠고
24:6 For I will set mine eyes upon them for good, and I will bring them again to this land: and I will build them, and not pull them down; and I will plant them, and not pluck them up.
24:7 내가 여호와인 줄 아는 마음을 그들에게 주어서 그들로 전심으로 내게 돌아오게 하리니 그들은 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 그들의 하나님이 되리라
24:7 And I will give them an heart to know me, that I am the LORD: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God: for they shall return unto me with their whole heart.
24:8 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 유다 왕 시드기야와 그 방백들과 예루살렘의 남은 자로서 이 땅에 남아 있는 자와 애굽 땅에 거하는 자들을 이 악하여 먹을 수 없는 악한 무화과 같이 버리되
24:8 And as the evil figs, which cannot be eaten, they are so evil; surely thus says the LORD, So will I give Zedekiah the king of Judah, and his princes, and the residue of Jerusalem, that remain in this land, and them that dwell in the land of Egypt:
24:9 세상 모든 나라 중에 흩어서 그들로 환난을 당하게 할 것이며 또 그들로 내가 쫓아보낼 모든 곳에서 치욕을 당하게 하며 말거리가 되게 하며 조롱과 저주를 받게 할 것이며
24:9 And I will deliver them to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth for their hurt, to be a reproach and a proverb, a taunt and a curse, in all places where I shall drive them.
24:10 내가 칼과 기근과 염병을 그들 중에 보내어 그들로 내가 그들과 그 열조에게 준 땅에서 멸절하기까지 이르게 하리라 하시니라
24:10 And I will send the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, among them, till they be consumed from off the land that I gave unto them and to their fathers.
25:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 사 년 곧 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살 원년에 유다 모든 백성에 관한 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
25:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the people of Judah in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that was the first year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon;
25:2 선지자 예레미야가 유다 모든 백성과 예루살렘 모든 거민에게 고하여 가로되
25:2 The which Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto all the people of Judah, and to all the inhabitants of Jerusalem, saying,
25:3 유다 왕 아몬의 아들 요시야의 십 삼 년부터 오늘까지 이십 삼 년 동안에 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하기로 내가 너희에게 이르되 부지런히 일렀으나 너희가 듣지 아니하였으며
25:3 From the thirteenth year of Josiah the son of Amon king of Judah, even unto this day, that is the three and twentieth year, the word of the LORD has come unto me, and I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but all of you have not hearkened.
25:4 여호와께서 그 모든 종 선지자를 너희에게 보내시되 부지런히 보내셨으나 너희가 듣지 아니하였으며 귀를 기울여 들으려고도 아니하였도다
25:4 And the LORD has sent unto you all his servants the prophets, rising early and sending them; but all of you have not hearkened, nor inclined your ear to hear.
25:5 이르시기를 너희는 각기 악한 길과 너희 악행에서 돌이키라 그리하면 나 여호와가 너희와 너희 열조에게 옛적에 주어 영원히 있게 한 그 땅에 거하리니
25:5 They said, Turn all of you again now every one from his evil way, and from the evil of your doings, and dwell in the land that the LORD has given unto you and to your fathers for ever and ever:
25:6 너희는 다른 신을 좇아 섬기거나 숭배하지 말며 너희 손으로 만든 것을 인하여 나의 노를 격동치 말라 그리하면 내가 너희를 해치 아니하리라 하였으나
25:6 And go not after other gods to serve them, and to worship them, and provoke me not to anger with the works of your hands; and I will do you no hurt.
25:7 너희가 내 말을 듣지 아니하고 너희 손으로 만든 것으로 나의 노를 격동하여 스스로 해하였느니라 여호와의 말이니라
25:7 Yet all of you have not hearkened unto me, says the LORD; that all of you might provoke me to anger with the works of your hands to your own hurt.
25:8 그러므로 나 만군의 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 내 말을 듣지 아니하였은즉
25:8 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts; Because all of you have not heard my words,
25:9 보라 내가 보내어 북방 모든 족속과 내 종 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 불러다가 이 땅과 그 거민과 사방 모든 나라를 쳐서 진멸하여 그들로 놀램과 치소거리가 되게 하며 땅으로 영영한 황무지가 되게 할 것이라
25:9 Behold, I will send and take all the families of the north, says the LORD, and Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will bring them against this land, and against the inhabitants thereof, and against all these nations round about, and will utterly destroy them, and make them an astonishment, and an hissing, and perpetual desolations.
25:10 내가 그들 중에서 기뻐하는 소리와 즐거워하는 소리와 신랑의 소리와 신부의 소리와 맷돌소리와 등불 빛이 끊쳐지게 하리니
25:10 Moreover I will take from them the voice of delight, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the sound of the millstones, and the light of the candle.
25:11 이 온 땅이 황폐하여 놀램이 될 것이며 이 나라들은 칠십 년 동안 바벨론 왕을 섬기리라
25:11 And this whole land shall be a desolation, and an astonishment; and these nations shall serve the king of Babylon seventy years.
25:12 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 칠십 년이 마치면 내가 바벨론 왕과 그 나라와 갈대아인의 땅을 그 죄악으로 인하여 벌하여 영영히 황무케 하되
25:12 And it shall come to pass, when seventy years are accomplished, that I will punish the king of Babylon, and that nation, says the LORD, for their iniquity, and the land of the Chaldeans, and will make it perpetual desolations.
25:13 내가 그 땅에 대하여 선고한 바 곧 예레미야가 열방에 대하여 예언하고 이 책에 기록한 나의 모든 말을 그 땅에 임하게 하리니
25:13 And I will bring upon that land all my words which I have pronounced against it, even all that is written in this book, which Jeremiah has prophesied against all the nations.
25:14 여러 나라와 큰 왕들이 그들로 자기 역군을 삼으리라 내가 그들의 행위와 그들의 손의 행한 대로 보응하리라 하시니라
25:14 For many nations and great kings shall make use of them also: and I will recompense them according to their deeds, and according to the works of their own hands.
25:15 ○ 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 너는 내 손에서 이 진노의 잔을 받아 가지고 내가 너를 보내는 바 그 모든 나라로 마시게 하라
25:15 For thus says the LORD God of Israel unto me; Take the wine cup of this fury at my hand, and cause all the nations, to whom I send you, to drink it.
25:16 그들이 마시고 비틀거리며 미치리니 이는 내가 그들 중에 칼을 보냄을 인함이니라 하시기로
25:16 And they shall drink, and be moved, and be mad, because of the sword that I will send among them.
25:17 내가 여호와의 손에서 그 잔을 받아서 여호와께서 나를 보내신 바 그 모든 나라로 마시게 하되
25:17 Then took I the cup at the LORD's hand, and made all the nations to drink, unto whom the LORD had sent me:
25:18 예루살렘과 유다 성읍들과 그 왕들과 그 방백들로 마시게 하였더니 그들이 멸망과 놀램과 치소와 저주를 당함이 오늘날과 같으니라
25:18 To know, Jerusalem, and the cities of Judah, and the kings thereof, and the princes thereof, to make them a desolation, an astonishment, an hissing, and a curse; as it is this day;
25:19 또 애굽 왕 바로와 그의 신하들과 그의 방백들과 그의 모든 백성과
25:19 Pharaoh king of Egypt, and his servants, and his princes, and all his people;
25:20 모든 잡족과 우스 땅 모든 왕과 블레셋 사람의 땅 모든 왕과 아스글론과 가사와 에그론과 아스돗의 남은 자와
25:20 And all the mingled people, and all the kings of the land of Uz, and all the kings of the land of the Philistines, and Ashkelon, and Azzah, and Ekron, and the remnant of Ashdod,
25:21 에돔과 모압과 암몬 자손과
25:21 Edom, and Moab, and the children of Ammon,
25:22 두로의 모든 왕과 시돈의 모든 왕과 바다 저편 섬의 왕들과
25:22 And all the kings of Tyrus, and all the kings of Zidon, and the kings of the isles which are beyond the sea,
25:23 드단과 데마와 부스와 털을 모지게 깎은 모든 자와
25:23 Dedan, and Tema, and Buz, and all that are in the utmost corners,
25:24 아라비아 모든 왕과 광야에 거하는 잡족의 모든 왕과
25:24 And all the kings of Arabia, and all the kings of the mingled people that dwell in the desert,
25:25 시므리의 모든 왕과 엘람의 모든 왕과 메대의 모든 왕과
25:25 And all the kings of Zimri, and all the kings of Elam, and all the kings of the Medes,
25:26 북방 원근의 모든 왕과 지면에 있는 세상의 모든 나라로 마시게 하니라 세삭 왕은 그 후에 마시리라
25:26 And all the kings of the north, far and near, one with another, and all the kingdoms of the world, which are upon the face of the earth: and the king of Sheshach shall drink after them.
25:27 ○ 너는 그들에게 이르기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 말씀에 너희는 마시라 취하라 토하라 엎드러지고 다시는 일어나지 말라 이는 내가 너희 중에 칼을 보냄을 인함이니라 하셨다 하라
25:27 Therefore you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Drink all of you, and be drunken, and spew, and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword which I will send among you.
25:28 그들이 만일 네 손에서 잔을 받아 마시기를 거절하거든 너는 그들에게 이르기를 만군의 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 반드시 마시리라
25:28 And it shall be, if they refuse to take the cup at yours hand to drink, then shall you say unto them, Thus says the LORD of hosts; All of you shall certainly drink.
25:29 보라 내가 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 성에서부터 재앙 내리기를 시작하였은즉 너희가 어찌 능히 형벌을 면할 수 있느냐 면치 못하리니 이는 내가 칼을 불러 세상의 모든 거민을 칠 것임이니라 하셨다 하라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
25:29 For, lo, I begin to bring evil on the city which is called by my name, and should all of you be utterly unpunished? All of you shall not be unpunished: for I will call for a sword upon all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD of hosts.
25:30 ○ 그러므로 너는 그들에게 이 모든 말로 예언하여 이르기를 여호와께서 높은 데서 부르시며 그 거룩한 처소에서 소리를 발하시며 그 양의 우리를 향하여 크게 부르시며 세상 모든 거민을 대하여 포도 밟는 자 같이 외치시리니
25:30 Therefore prophesy you against them all these words, and say unto them, The LORD shall roar from on high, and utter his voice from his holy habitation; he shall mightily roar upon his habitation; he shall give a shout, as they that tread the grapes, against all the inhabitants of the earth.
25:31 요란한 소리가 땅 끝까지 이름은 여호와께서 열국과 다투시며 모든 육체를 심판하시며 악인을 칼에 붙이심을 인함이라 하라 여호와의 말이니라
25:31 A noise shall come even to the ends of the earth; for the LORD has a controversy with the nations, he will plead with all flesh; he will give them that are wicked to the sword, says the LORD.
25:32 ○ 나 만군의 여호와가 말하노라 보라 재앙이 나서 나라에서 나라에 미칠 것이며 대풍이 땅 끝에서 일어날 것이라
25:32 Thus says the LORD of hosts, Behold, evil shall go forth from nation to nation, and a great whirlwind shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
25:33 그 날에 나 여호와에게 살륙을 당한 자가 땅 이 끝에서 땅 저 끝에 미칠 것이나 그들이 슬퍼함을 받지 못하며 염습함을 입지 못하며 매장함을 얻지 못하고 지면에서 분토가 되리로다
25:33 And the slain of the LORD shall be at that day from one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth: they shall not be lamented, neither gathered, nor buried; they shall be dung upon the ground.
25:34 너희 목자들아 외쳐 애곡하라 너희 양 떼의 인도자들아 재에 굴라 이는 너희 도륙을 당할 날과 흩음을 당할 기한이 찼음인즉 너희가 귀한 그릇의 떨어짐 같이 될 것이라
25:34 Wail, all of you shepherds, and cry; and wallow yourselves in the ashes, all of you principal of the flock: for the days of your slaughter and of your dispersions are accomplished; and all of you shall fall like a pleasant vessel.
25:35 목자들은 도망할 수 없겠고 양 떼의 인도자들은 도피할 수 없으리로다
25:35 And the shepherds shall have no way to flee, nor the principal of the flock to escape.
25:36 목자들의 부르짖음과 양 떼의 인도자들의 애곡하는 소리여 나 여호와가 그들의 초장으로 황폐케 함이로다
25:36 A voice of the cry of the shepherds, and an howling of the principal of the flock, shall be heard: for the LORD has spoiled their pasture.
25:37 평안한 목장들이 적막하니 이는 여호와의 진노의 연고로다
25:37 And the peaceable habitations are cut down because of the fierce anger of the LORD.
25:38 그가 사자 같이 그 소혈에서 나오셨도다 그 잔멸하는 자의 진노와 그 극렬한 분으로 인하여 그들의 땅이 황량하였도다
25:38 He has forsaken his covert, as the lion: for their land is desolate because of the fierceness of the oppressor, and because of his fierce anger.
26:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 즉위 초에 여호와께로서 이 말씀이 임하니라 가라사대
26:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word from the LORD, saying,
26:2 나 여호와가 이같이 이르노라 너는 여호와의 집 뜰에 서서 유다 모든 성읍에서 여호와의 집에 와서 경배하는 자에게 내가 네게 명하여 이르게 한 모든 말을 고하되 한 말도 감하지 말라
26:2 Thus says the LORD; Stand in the court of the LORD's house, and speak unto all the cities of Judah, which come to worship in the LORD's house, all the words that I command you to speak unto them; diminish not a word:
26:3 그들이 듣고 혹시 각각 그 악한 길에서 떠나리라 그리하면 내가 그들의 악행으로 인하여 재앙을 그들에게 내리려 하던 뜻을 돌이키리라
26:3 If so be they will hearken, and turn every man from his evil way, that I may repent me of the evil, which I purpose to do unto them because of the evil of their doings.
26:4 너는 그들에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 나를 청종치 아니하며 내가 너희 앞에 둔 내 법을 행치 아니하며
26:4 And you shall say unto them, Thus says the LORD; If all of you will not hearken to me, to walk in my law, which I have set before you,
26:5 내가 너희에게 보내고 부지런히 보낸 나의 종 선지자들의 말을 이미 듣지 아니하였거니와 너희가 만일 다시 듣지 아니하면
26:5 To hearken to the words of my servants the prophets, whom I sent unto you, both rising up early, and sending them, but all of you have not hearkened;
26:6 내가 이 집을 실로 같이 되게 하고 이 성으로 세계 열방의 저주거리가 되게 하리라 하셨다 하라
26:6 Then will I make this house like Shiloh, and will make this city a curse to all the nations of the earth.
26:7 예레미야가 여호와의 집에서 이 말을 하매 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성이 듣더라
26:7 So the priests and the prophets and all the people heard Jeremiah speaking these words in the house of the LORD.
26:8 ○ 예레미야가 여호와께서 명하신 말씀을 모든 백성에게 고하기를 마치매 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성이 그를 붙잡고 이르되 네가 반드시 죽으리라
26:8 Now it came to pass, when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking all that the LORD had commanded him to speak unto all the people, that the priests and the prophets and all the people took him, saying, You shall surely die.
26:9 어찌하여 네가 여호와의 이름을 의탁하고 예언하여 이르기를 이 집이 실로 같이 되겠고 이 성이 황무하여 거민이 없으리라 하느뇨 하며 그 모든 백성이 여호와의 집에서 예레미야에게로 모여드니라
26:9 Why have you prophesied in the name of the LORD, saying, This house shall be like Shiloh, and this city shall be desolate without an inhabitant? And all the people were gathered against Jeremiah in the house of the LORD.
26:10 ○ 유다 방백들이 이 일을 듣고 왕궁에서 여호와의 집으로 올라와서 여호와의 집 새 문 어귀에 앉으매
26:10 When the princes of Judah heard these things, then they came up from the king's house unto the house of the LORD, and sat down in the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house.
26:11 제사장들과 선지자들이 방백들과 모든 백성에게 말하여 가로되 이 사람은 죽음이 합당하니 너희 귀로 들음 같이 이 성을 쳐서 예언하였느니라
26:11 Then spoke the priests and the prophets unto the princes and to all the people, saying, This man is worthy to die; for he has prophesied against this city, as all of you have heard with your ears.
26:12 예레미야가 모든 방백과 백성에게 일러 가로되 여호와께서 나를 보내사 너희의 들은 바 모든 말로 이 집과 이 성을 쳐서 예언하게 하셨느니라
26:12 Then spoke Jeremiah unto all the princes and to all the people, saying, The LORD sent me to prophesy against this house and against this city all the words that all of you have heard.
26:13 그런즉 너희는 너희 길과 행위를 고치고 너희 하나님 여호와의 목소리를 청종하라 그리하면 여호와께서 너희에게 선고하신 재앙에 대하여 뜻을 돌이키시리라
26:13 Therefore now amend your ways and your doings, and obey the voice of the LORD your God; and the LORD will repent him of the evil that he has pronounced against you.
26:14 보라 나는 너희 손에 있으니 너희 소견에 선한 대로, 옳은 대로 하려니와
26:14 As for me, behold, I am in your hand: do with me as seems good and meet unto you.
26:15 너희는 분명히 알라 너희가 나를 죽이면 정녕히 무죄한 피로 너희 몸과 이 성과 이 성 거민에게로 돌아가게 하리라 이는 여호와께서 진실로 나를 보내사 이 모든 말을 너희 귀에 이르게 하셨음이니라
26:15 But know all of you for certain, that if all of you put me to death, all of you shall surely bring innocent blood upon yourselves, and upon this city, and upon the inhabitants thereof: for truthfully the LORD has sent me unto you to speak all these words in your ears.
26:16 ○ 방백들과 모든 백성이 제사장들과 선지자들에게 이르되 이 사람이 우리 하나님 여호와의 이름을 의탁하고 우리에게 말하였으니 죽음이 부당하니라
26:16 Then said the princes and all the people unto the priests and to the prophets; This man is not worthy to die: for he has spoken to us in the name of the LORD our God.
26:17 때에 그 땅 장로 중 몇 사람이 일어나 백성의 온 회중에 말하여 가로되
26:17 Then rose up certain of the elders of the land, and spoke to all the assembly of the people, saying,
26:18 유다 왕 히스기야 시대에 모레셋 사람 미가가 유다 모든 백성에게 예언하여 가로되 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 시온은 밭 같이 경작함을 당하며 예루살렘은 무더기가 되며 이 전의 산은 수풀의 높은 곳들 같이 되리라 하였으나
26:18 Micah the Morasthite prophesied in the days of Hezekiah king of Judah, and spoke to all the people of Judah, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts; Zion shall be plowed like a field, and Jerusalem shall become heaps, and the mountain of the house as the high places of a forest.
26:19 유다 왕 히스기야와 모든 유다가 그를 죽였느냐 히스기야가 여호와를 두려워하여 여호와께 간구하매 여호와께서 그들에게 선고한 재앙에 대하여 뜻을 돌이키지 아니하셨느냐 우리가 이같이 하면 우리 생명을 스스로 크게 해하는 일이니라
26:19 Did Hezekiah king of Judah and all Judah put him at all to death? did he not fear the LORD, and besought the LORD, and the LORD repented him of the evil which he had pronounced against them? Thus might we procure great evil against our souls.
26:20 ○ 또 여호와의 이름을 의탁하고 예언한 사람이 있었는데 곧 기럇여아림 스마야의 아들 우리야라 그가 예레미야의 모든 말과 같이 이 성과 이 땅을 쳐서 예언하매
26:20 And there was also a man that prophesied in the name of the LORD, Urijah the son of Shemaiah of Kirjathjearim, who prophesied against this city and against this land according to all the words of Jeremiah.
26:21 여호야김 왕과 그 모든 용사와 모든 방백이 그 말을 듣고는 왕이 그를 죽이려 하매 우리야가 이를 듣고 두려워 애굽으로 도망하여 간지라
26:21 And when Jehoiakim the king, with all his mighty men, and all the princes, heard his words, the king sought to put him to death: but when Urijah heard it, he was afraid, and fled, and went into Egypt;
26:22 여호야김 왕이 사람을 애굽으로 보내되 곧 악볼의 아들 엘라단과 몇 사람을 함께 애굽으로 보내었더니
26:22 And Jehoiakim the king sent men into Egypt, namely, Elnathan the son of Achbor, and certain men with him into Egypt.
26:23 그들이 우리야를 애굽에서 끌어내어 여호야김 왕께로 데려오매 왕이 칼로 그를 죽이고 그 시체를 평민의 묘실에 던지게 하였다 하니라
26:23 And they fetched forth Urijah out of Egypt, and brought him unto Jehoiakim the king; who slew him with the sword, and cast his dead body into the graves of the common people.
26:24 사반의 아들 아히감이 예레미야를 보호하여 예레미야를 백성의 손에 내어주지 아니하여 죽이지 못하게 하니라
26:24 Nevertheless the hand of Ahikam the son of Shaphan was with Jeremiah, that they should not give him into the hand of the people to put him to death.
27:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 즉위한 지 오래지 아니하여서 여호와께서 말씀으로 나 예레미야에게 이르시니라
27:1 In the beginning of the reign of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah came this word unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
27:2 여호와께서 이같이 내게 이르시되 너는 줄과 멍에를 만들어 네 목에 얹고
27:2 Thus says the LORD to me; Make you bonds and yokes, and put them upon your neck,
27:3 유다 왕 시드기야를 보러 예루살렘에 온 사신들의 손에도 그것을 붙여 에돔 왕과 모압 왕과 암몬 자손의 왕과 두로 왕과 시돈 왕에게 보내며
27:3 And send them to the king of Edom, and to the king of Moab, and to the king of the Ammonites, and to the king of Tyrus, and to the king of Zidon, by the hand of the messengers which come to Jerusalem unto Zedekiah king of Judah;
27:4 그들에게 명하여 그 주에게 이르게 하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 말씀하시되 너희는 너희 주에게 이같이 고하라
27:4 And command them to say unto their masters, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Thus shall all of you say unto your masters;
27:5 나는 내 큰 능과 나의 든 팔로 땅과 그 위에 있는 사람과 짐승들을 만들고 나의 소견에 옳은 대로 땅을 사람에게 주었노라
27:5 I have made the earth, the man and the beast that are upon the ground, by my great power and by my outstretched arm, and have given it unto whom it seemed meet unto me.
27:6 이제 내가 이 모든 땅을 내 종 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 주고 또 들짐승들을 그에게 주어서 부리게 하였나니
27:6 And now have I given all these lands into the hand of Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, my servant; and the beasts of the field have I given him also to serve him.
27:7 열방이 그와 그 아들과 손자를 섬기리라 그의 땅의 기한이 이르면 여러 나라와 큰 왕이 그로 자기를 섬기게 하리라마는
27:7 And all nations shall serve him, and his son, and his son's son, until the very time of his land come: and then many nations and great kings shall make use of him.
27:8 나 여호와가 이르노라 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기지 아니하는 국민이나 그 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메지 아니하는 백성은 내가 그의 손으로 진멸시키기까지 칼과 기근과 염병으로 벌하리라
27:8 And it shall come to pass, that the nation and kingdom which will not serve the same Nebuchadnezzar the king of Babylon, and that will not put their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, that nation will I punish, says the LORD, with the sword, and with the famine, and with the pestilence, until I have consumed them by his hand.
27:9 너희는 너희 선지자나 너희 복술이나 너희 꿈꾸는 자나 너희 술사나 너희 요술객이 너희에게 이르기를 너희가 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하여도 듣지 말라
27:9 Therefore hearken not all of you to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, All of you shall not serve the king of Babylon:
27:10 그들은 너희에게 거짓을 예언하여서 너희로 너희 땅에서 멀리 떠나게 하며 또 나로 너희를 몰아내게 하며 너희를 멸하게 하느니라
27:10 For they prophesy a lie unto you, to remove you far from your land; and that I should drive you out, and all of you should perish.
27:11 오직 그 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메고 그를 섬기는 나라는 내가 그들을 그 땅에 머물러서 밭을 갈며 거기 거하게 하리라 하셨다 하라 여호와의 말이니라
27:11 But the nations that bring their neck under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him, those will I let remain still in their own land, says the LORD; and they shall till it, and dwell therein.
27:12 ○ 내가 이 모든 말씀대로 유다 왕 시드기야에게 고하여 가로되 왕과 백성은 목으로 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 메고 그와 그 백성을 섬기소서 그리하면 살리이다
27:12 I spoke also to Zedekiah king of Judah according to all these words, saying, Bring your necks under the yoke of the king of Babylon, and serve him and his people, and live.
27:13 어찌하여 왕과 왕의 백성이 여호와께서 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하는 나라에 대하여 하신 말씀 같이 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽으려 하나이까
27:13 Why will all of you die, you and your people, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, as the LORD has spoken against the nation that will not serve the king of Babylon?
27:14 왕과 백성에게 바벨론 왕을 섬기지 아니하리라 하는 선지자의 말을 듣지 마소서 그들은 거짓을 예언하나이다
27:14 Therefore hearken not unto the words of the prophets that speak unto you, saying, All of you shall not serve the king of Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
27:15 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였거늘 그들이 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언하니 내가 너희를 몰아내며 너희와 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들을 멸망시키기에 이르리라 하셨나이다
27:15 For I have not sent them, says the LORD, yet they prophesy a lie in my name; that I might drive you out, and that all of you might perish, all of you, and the prophets that prophesy unto you.
27:16 ○ 내가 또 제사장들과 그 모든 백성에게 고하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 여호와의 집 기구를 이제 바벨론에서 속히 돌려오리라고 너희에게 예언하는 선지자들의 말을 듣지 말라 이는 그들이 거짓을 예언함이니라 하셨나니
27:16 Also I spoke to the priests and to all this people, saying, Thus says the LORD; Hearken not to the words of your prophets that prophesy unto you, saying, Behold, the vessels of the LORD's house shall now shortly be brought again from Babylon: for they prophesy a lie unto you.
27:17 너희는 그들을 듣지 말고 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 살리라 어찌하여 이 성으로 황무지가 되게 하겠느냐
27:17 Hearken not unto them; serve the king of Babylon, and live: wherefore should this city be laid waste?
27:18 만일 그들이 선지자이고 여호와의 말씀이 그들에게 있을진대 그들이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 기구가 바벨론으로 옮겨가지 않도록 만군의 여호와께 구하여야 할 것이니라
27:18 But if they be prophets, and if the word of the LORD be with them, let them now make intercession to the LORD of hosts, that the vessels which are left in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah, and at Jerusalem, go not to Babylon.
27:19 만군의 여호와께서 기둥들과 놋바다와 받침들과 및 이 성에 남아 있는 기구에 대하여 이같이 말씀하시나니
27:19 For thus says the LORD of hosts concerning the pillars, and concerning the sea, and concerning the bases, and concerning the residue of the vessels that remain in this city.
27:20 이것은 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 유다와 예루살렘 모든 귀족을 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡아 옮길 때에 취하지 아니하였던 것이라
27:20 Which Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took not, when he carried away captive Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah from Jerusalem to Babylon, and all the nobles of Judah and Jerusalem;
27:21 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 여호와의 집에와 유다 왕의 집에와 예루살렘에 남아 있는 그 기구에 대하여 이같이 말씀하시되
27:21 Yea, thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, concerning the vessels that remain in the house of the LORD, and in the house of the king of Judah and of Jerusalem;
27:22 그것들이 바벨론으로 옮김을 입고 내가 이것을 돌아보는 날까지 거기 있을 것이니라 그 후에 내가 그것을 옮겨 이곳에 다시 두리라 여호와의 말이니라
27:22 They shall be carried to Babylon, and there shall they be until the day that I visit them, says the LORD; then will I bring them up, and restore them to this place.
