 빌립보서 1장

1:1 그리스도 예수의 종 바울과 디모데는 그리스도 예수 안에서 빌립보에 사는 모든 성도와 또는 감독들과 집사들에게 편지하노니
1:1 Paul and Timothy, servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus at Philippi, with the Bishops and Deacons of the church:
1:1 Paul and Timotheus, the servants of Jesus Christ, to all the saints in Christ Jesus which are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons:

1:2 하나님 우리 아버지와 주 예수 그리스도에게로서 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다
1:2 Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.
1:2 Grace be unto you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:3 ○ 내가 너희를 생각할 때마다 나의 하나님께 감사하며
1:3 I give praise to my God at every memory of you,
1:3 I thank my God upon every remembrance of you,

1:4 간구할 때마다 너희 무리를 위하여 기쁨으로 항상 간구함은
1:4 And in all my prayers for you all, making my request with joy,
1:4 Always in every prayer of mine for you all making request with joy,

1:5 첫날부터 이제까지 복음에서 너희가 교제함을 인함이라
1:5 Because of your help in giving the good news from the first day till now;
1:5 For your fellowship in the gospel from the first day until now;

1:6 너희 속에 착한 일을 시작하신 이가 그리스도 예수의 날까지 이루실 줄을 우리가 확신하노라
1:6 For I am certain of this very thing, that he by whom the good work was started in you will make it complete till the day of Jesus Christ:
1:6 Being confident of this very thing, that he which has begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:

1:7 내가 너희 무리를 위하여 이와 같이 생각하는 것이 마땅하니 이는 너희가 내 마음에 있음이며 나의 매임과 복음을 변명함과 확정함에 너희가 다 나와 함께 은혜에 참예한 자가 됨이라
1:7 So it is right for me to take thought for you all in this way, because I have you in my heart; for in my chains, and in my arguments before the judges in support of the good news, making clear that it is true, you all have your part with me in grace.
1:7 Even as it is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart; inasmuch as both in my bonds, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, all of you all are partakers of my grace.

1:8 내가 예수 그리스도의 심장으로 너희 무리를 어떻게 사모하는지 하나님이 내 증인이시니라
1:8 For God is my witness, how my love goes out to you all in the loving mercies of Christ Jesus.
1:8 For God is my record, how greatly I long after you all in the bowels of Jesus Christ.

1:9 내가 기도하노라 너희 사랑을 지식과 모든 총명으로 점점 더 풍성하게 하사
1:9 And my prayer is that you may be increased more and more in knowledge and experience;
1:9 And this I pray, that your love (o. agape) may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;

1:10 너희로 지극히 선한 것을 분별하며 또 진실하여 허물 없이 그리스도의 날까지 이르고
1:10 So that you may give your approval to the best things; that you may be true and without wrongdoing till the day of Christ;
1:10 That all of you may approve things that are excellent; that all of you may be sincere and without offence till the day of Christ.

1:11 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 의의 열매가 가득하여 하나님의 영광과 찬송이 되게 하시기를 구하노라
1:11 Being full of the fruits of righteousness, which are through Jesus Christ, to the glory and praise of God.
1:11 Being filled with the fruits of righteousness, which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God.

1:12 ○ 형제들아 나의 당한 일이 도리어 복음의 진보가 된 줄을 너희가 알기를 원하노라
1:12 Now it is my purpose to make clear to you, brothers, that the cause of the good news has been helped by my experiences;
1:12 But I would all of you should understand, brethren, that the things which happened unto me have fallen out rather unto the furtherance of the gospel;

1:13 이러므로 나의 매임이 그리스도 안에서 온 시위대 안과 기타 모든 사람에게 나타났으니
1:13 So that it became clear through all the Praetorium, and to all the rest, that I was a prisoner on account of Christ;
1:13 So that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace, and in all other places;

1:14 형제 중 다수가 나의 매임을 인하여 주 안에서 신뢰하므로 겁 없이 하나님의 말씀을 더욱 담대히 말하게 되었느니라
1:14 And most of the brothers in the Lord, taking heart because of my chains, are all the stronger to give the word of God without fear.
1:14 And many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much more bold to speak the word (o. logos) without fear.

1:15 어떤이들은 투기와 분쟁으로 어떤이들은 착한 뜻으로 그리스도를 전파하나니
1:15 Though some are preaching Christ out of envy and competition, others do it out of a good heart:
1:15 Some indeed preach Christ even of envy and strife; and some also of good will:

1:16 이들은 내가 복음을 변명하기 위하여 세우심을 받은 줄 알고 사랑으로 하나
1:16 These do it from love, conscious that I am responsible for the cause of the good news:
1:16 The one preach Christ of contention, not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds:

1:17 저들은 나의 매임에 괴로움을 더하게 할 줄로 생각하여 순전치 못하게 다툼으로 그리스도를 전파하느니라
1:17 But those are preaching Christ in a spirit of competition, not from their hearts, but with the purpose of giving me pain in my prison.
1:17 But the other of love, (o. agape) knowing that I am set for the defence of the gospel.

1:18 그러면 무엇이뇨 외모로 하나 참으로 하나 무슨 방도로 하든지 전파되는 것은 그리스도니 이로써 내가 기뻐하고 또한 기뻐하리라
1:18 What then? only that in every way, falsely or truly, the preaching of Christ goes on; and in this I am glad, and will be glad.
1:18 What then? notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretence, or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice.

1:19 이것이 너희 간구와 예수 그리스도의 성령의 도우심으로 내 구원에 이르게 할 줄 아는 고로
1:19 For I am conscious that this will be for my salvation, through your prayer and the giving out of the stored wealth of the Spirit of Jesus Christ,
1:19 For I know that this shall turn to my salvation through your prayer, and the supply of the Spirit (o. pneuma) of Jesus Christ,

1:20 나의 간절한 기대와 소망을 따라 아무 일에든지 부끄럽지 아니하고 오직 전과 같이 이제도 온전히 담대하여 살든지 죽든지 내 몸에서 그리스도가 존귀히 되게 하려 하나니
1:20 In the measure of my strong hope and belief that in nothing will I be put to shame, but that without fear, as at all times, so now will Christ have glory in my body, by life or by death.
1:20 According to my earn expectation and my hope, that in nothing I shall be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always, so now also Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life, or by death.

1:21 이는 내게 사는 것이 그리스도니 죽는 것도 유익함이니라
1:21 For to me life is Christ and death is profit.
1:21 In order to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.

1:22 그러나 만일 육신으로 사는 이것이 내 일의 열매일진대 무엇을 가릴는지 나는 알지 못하노라
1:22 But if I go on living in the flesh--if this is the fruit of my work--then I do not see what decision to make.
1:22 But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labour: yet what I shall choose I know not.

1:23 내가 그 두 사이에 끼였으니 떠나서 그리스도와 함께 있을 욕망을 가진 이것이 더욱 좋으나
1:23 I am in a hard position between the two, having a desire to go away and be with Christ, which is very much better:
1:23 For I am in a strait between two, having a desire to depart, and to be with Christ; which is far better:

1:24 그러나 내가 육신에 거하는 것이 너희를 위하여 더 유익하리라
1:24 Still, to go on in the flesh is more necessary because of you.
1:24 Nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more necessary for you.

1:25 내가 살 것과 너희 믿음의 진보와 기쁨을 위하여 너희 무리와 함께 거할 이것을 확실히 아노니
1:25 And being certain of this, I am conscious that I will go on, yes, and go on with you all, for your growth and joy in the faith;
1:25 And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy of faith;

1:26 내가 다시 너희와 같이 있음으로 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 자랑이 나를 인하여 풍성하게 하려 함이라
1:26 So that your pride in me may be increased in Christ Jesus through my being present with you again.
1:26 That your rejoicing may be more abundant in Jesus Christ for me by my coming to you again.

1:27 오직 너희는 그리스도 복음에 합당하게 생활하라 이는 내가 너희를 가보나 떠나 있으나 너희가 일심으로 서서 한 뜻으로 복음의 신앙을 위하여 협력하는 것과
1:27 Only let your behaviour do credit to the good news of Christ, so that if I come and see you or if I am away from you, I may have news of you that you are strong in one spirit, working together with one soul for the faith of the good news;
1:27 Only let your conversation be as it becomes the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that all of you stand fast in one spirit, (o. pneuma) with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

1:28 아무 일에든지 대적하는 자를 인하여 두려워하지 아니하는 이 일을 듣고자 함이라 이것이 저희에게는 멸망의 빙거요 너희에게는 구원의 빙거니 이는 하나님께로부터 난 것이니라
1:28 Having no fear of those who are against you; which is a clear sign of their destruction, but of your salvation, and that from God;
1:28 And in nothing terrified by your adversaries: which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that of God.

1:29 그리스도를 위하여 너희에게 은혜를 주신 것은 다만 그를 믿을 뿐 아니라 또한 그를 위하여 고난도 받게 하심이라
1:29 Because to you it has been given in the cause of Christ not only to have faith in him, but to undergo pain on his account:
1:29 For unto you it is given in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer for his sake;

1:30 너희에게도 같은 싸움이 있으니 너희가 내 안에서 본 바요 이제도 내 안에서 듣는 바니라
1:30 Fighting the same fight which you saw in me, and now have word of in me.
1:30 Having the same conflict which all of you saw in me, and now hear to be in me.

 빌립보서 2장 /

2:1 그러므로 그리스도 안에 무슨 권면이나 사랑에 무슨 위로나 성령의 무슨 교제나 긍휼이나 자비가 있거든
2:1 If then there is any comfort in Christ, any help given by love, any uniting of hearts in the Spirit, any loving mercies and pity,
2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, (o. agape) if any fellowship of the Spirit, (o. pneuma) if any bowels and mercies,

2:2 마음을 같이 하여 같은 사랑을 가지고 뜻을 합하며 한 마음을 품어
2:2 Make my joy complete by being of the same mind, having the same love, being in harmony and of one mind;
2:2 Fulfill all of you my joy, that all of you be likeminded, having the same love, (o. agape) being of one accord, of one mind.

2:3 아무 일에든지 다툼이나 허영으로 하지 말고 오직 겸손한 마음으로 각각 자기보다 남을 낫게 여기고
2:3 Doing nothing through envy or through pride, but with low thoughts of self let everyone take others to be better than himself;
2:3 Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves.

2:4 각각 자기 일을 돌아볼뿐더러 또한 각각 다른 사람들의 일을 돌아보아 나의 기쁨을 충만케 하라
2:4 Not looking everyone to his private good, but keeping in mind the things of others.
2:4 Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others.

2:5 너희 안에 이 마음을 품으라 곧 그리스도 예수의 마음이니
2:5 Let this mind be in you which was in Christ Jesus,
2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

2:6 그는 근본 하나님의 본체시나 하나님과 동등됨을 취할 것으로 여기지 아니하시고
2:6 To whom, though himself in the form of God, it did not seem that to take for oneself was to be like God;
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:

2:7 오히려 자기를 비어 종의 형체를 가져 사람들과 같이 되었고
2:7 But he made himself as nothing, taking the form of a servant, being made like men;
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:

2:8 사람의 모양으로 나타나셨으매 자기를 낮추시고 죽기까지 복종하셨으니 곧 십자가에 죽으심이라
2:8 And being seen in form as a man, he took the lowest place, and let himself be put to death, even the death of the cross.
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

2:9 이러므로 하나님이 그를 지극히 높여 모든 이름 위에 뛰어난 이름을 주사
2:9 For this reason God has put him in the highest place and has given to him the name which is greater than every name;
2:9 Wherefore God also has highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name:

2:10 하늘에 있는 자들과 땅에 있는 자들과 땅 아래 있는 자들로 모든 무릎을 예수의 이름에 꿇게 하시고
2:10 So that at the name of Jesus every knee may be bent, of those in heaven and those on earth and those in the underworld,
2:10 That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth;

2:11 모든 입으로 예수 그리스도를 주라 시인하여 하나님 아버지께 영광을 돌리게 하셨느니라
2:11 And that every tongue may give witness that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
2:11 And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

2:12 ○ 그러므로 나의 사랑하는 자들아 너희가 나 있을 때뿐 아니라 더욱 지금 나 없을 때에도 항상 복종하여 두렵고 떨림으로 너희 구원을 이루라
2:12 So then, my loved ones, as you have at all times done what I say, not only when I am present, but now much more when I am not with you, give yourselves to working out your salvation with fear in your hearts;
2:12 Wherefore, my beloved, as all of you have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.

2:13 너희 안에서 행하시는 이는 하나님이시니 자기의 기쁘신 뜻을 위하여 너희로 소원을 두고 행하게 하시나니
2:13 For it is God who is the cause of your desires and of your acts, for his good pleasure.
2:13 For it is God which works in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure.
2:14 모든 일을 원망과 시비가 없이 하라
2:14 Do all things without protests and arguments;

2:14 Do all things without murmurings and disputings:

2:15 이는 너희가 흠이 없고 순전하여 어그러지고 거스리는 세대 가운데서 하나님의 흠 없는 자녀로 세상에서 그들 가운데 빛들로 나타내며
2:15 So that you may be holy and gentle, children of God without sin in a twisted and foolish generation, among whom you are seen as lights in the world,
2:15 That all of you may be blameless and harmless, the sons of God, without rebuke, in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom all of you shine as lights in the world;

2:16 생명의 말씀을 밝혀 나의 달음질도 헛되지 아니하고 수고도 헛되지 아니함으로 그리스도의 날에 나로 자랑할 것이 있게 하려 함이라
2:16 Offering the word of life; so that I may have glory in you in the day of Christ, because my running was not for nothing and my work was not without effect.
2:16 Holding forth the word (o. logos) of life; that I may rejoice in the day of Christ, that I have not run in vain, neither laboured in vain.

2:17 만일 너희 믿음의 제물과 봉사 위에 내가 나를 관제로 드릴지라도 나는 기뻐하고 너희 무리와 함께 기뻐하리니
2:17 And even if I am offered like a drink offering, giving myself for the cause and work of your faith, I am glad and have joy with you all:
2:17 Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all.

2:18 이와 같이 너희도 기뻐하고 나와 함께 기뻐하라
2:18 And in the same way do you be glad and have a part in my joy.
2:18 For the same cause also do all of you joy, and rejoice with me.

2:19 ○ 내가 디모데를 속히 너희에게 보내기를 주 안에서 바람은 너희 사정을 앎으로 안위를 받으려 함이니
2:19 But I am hoping in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you before long, so that I may be comforted when I have news of you.
2:19 But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timotheus shortly unto you, that I also may be of good comfort, when I know your state.

2:20 이는 뜻을 같이 하여 너희 사정을 진실히 생각할 자가 이밖에 내게 없음이라
2:20 For I have no man of like mind who will truly have care for you.
2:20 For I have no man likeminded, who will naturally care for your state.

2:21 저희가 다 자기 일을 구하고 그리스도 예수의 일을 구하지 아니하되
2:21 For they all go after what is theirs, not after the things of Christ.
2:21 For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ's.

2:22 디모데의 연단을 너희가 아나니 자식이 아비에게 함같이 나와 함께 복음을 위하여 수고하였느니라
2:22 But his quality is clear to you; how, as a child is to its father, so he was a help to me in the work of the good news.
2:22 But all of you know the proof of him, that, as a son with the father, he has served with me in the gospel.

2:23 그러므로 내가 내 일이 어떻게 될 것을 보아서 곧 이 사람을 보내기를 바라고
2:23 Him then I am hoping to send as quickly as possible, when I am able to see how things will go for me:
2:23 Him therefore I hope to send presently, so soon as I shall see how it will go with me.

2:24 나도 속히 가기를 주 안에서 확신하노라
2:24 But I have faith in the Lord that I myself will come before long.
2:24 But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly.

2:25 그러나 에바브로디도를 너희에게 보내는 것이 필요한 줄로 생각하노니 그는 나의 형제요 함께 수고하고 함께 군사 된 자요 너희 사자로 나의 쓸 것을 돕는 자라
2:25 But it seemed to me necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, who has taken part with me in the work and in the fight, and your servant, sent by you for help in my need;
2:25 Yet I supposed it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother, and companion in labour, and fellow soldier, but your messenger, and he that ministered to my wants.

2:26 그가 너희 무리를 간절히 사모하고 자기 병든 것을 너희가 들은 줄을 알고 심히 근심한지라
2:26 Because his heart was with you all, and he was greatly troubled because you had news that he was ill:
2:26 For he longed after you all, and was full of heaviness, because that all of you had heard that he had been sick.

2:27 저가 병들어 죽게 되었으나 하나님이 저를 긍휼히 여기셨고 저뿐 아니라 또 나를 긍휼히 여기사 내 근심 위에 근심을 면하게 하셨느니라
2:27 For in fact he was ill almost to death: but God had mercy on him; and not only on him but on me, so that I might not have grief on grief.
2:27 For indeed he was sick nigh unto death: but God had mercy on him; and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow.

2:28 그러므로 내가 더욱 급히 저를 보낸 것은 너희로 저를 다시 보고 기뻐하게 하며 내 근심도 덜려 함이니
2:28 I have sent him, then, the more gladly, so that when you see him again, you may be happy and I may have the less sorrow.
2:28 I sent him therefore the more carefully, that, when all of you see him again, all of you may rejoice, and that I may be the less sorrowful.

2:29 이러므로 너희가 주 안에서 모든 기쁨으로 저를 영접하고 또 이와 같은 자들을 존귀히 여기라
2:29 So take him to your hearts in the Lord with all joy, and give honour to such as he is:
2:29 Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness; and hold such in reputation:

2:30 저가 그리스도의 일을 위하여 죽기에 이르러도 자기 목숨을 돌아보지 아니한 것은 나를 섬기는 너희의 일에 부족함을 채우려 함이니라
2:30 Because for the work of Christ he was near to death, putting his life in danger to make your care for me complete.
2:30 Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

 빌립보서 3장 /

3:1 종말로 나의 형제들아 주 안에서 기뻐하라 너희에게 같은 말을 쓰는 것이 내게는 수고로움이 없고 너희에게는 안전하니라
3:1 For the rest, my brothers, be glad in the Lord. Writing the same things to you is no trouble to me, and for you it is safe.
3:1 Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

3:2 개들을 삼가고 행악하는 자들을 삼가고 손할례당을 삼가라
3:2 Be on the watch against dogs, against the workers of evil, against those of the circumcision:
3:2 Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

3:3 하나님의 성령으로 봉사하며 그리스도 예수로 자랑하고 육체를 신뢰하지 아니하는 우리가 곧 할례당이라
3:3 For we are the circumcision, who give worship to God and have glory in Jesus Christ, and have no faith in the flesh:
3:3 For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, (o. pneuma) and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

3:4 그러나 나도 육체를 신뢰할 만하니 만일 누구든지 다른 이가 육체를 신뢰할 것이 있는 줄로 생각하면 나는 더욱 그러하리니
3:4 Even though I myself might have faith in the flesh: if any other man has reason to have faith in the flesh, I have more:
3:4 Though I might also have confidence in the flesh. If any other man thinks that he has whereof he might trust in the flesh, I more:

3:5 내가 팔 일 만에 할례를 받고 이스라엘의 족속이요 베냐민의 지파요 히브리인 중의 히브리인이요 율법으로는 바리새인이요
3:5 Being given circumcision on the eighth day, of the nation of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in relation to the law, a Pharisee:
3:5 Circumcised the eighth day, of the stock of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, an Hebrew of the Hebrews; as concerning the law, a Pharisee;

3:6 열심으로는 교회를 핍박하고 율법의 의로는 흠이 없는 자로라
3:6 In bitter hate I was cruel to the church; I kept all the righteousness of the law to the last detail.
3:6 Concerning zeal, persecuting the church; concerning the righteousness which is in the law, blameless.

3:7 그러나 무엇이든지 내게 유익하던 것을 내가 그리스도를 위하여 다 해로 여길뿐더러
3:7 But those things which were profit to me, I gave up for Christ.
3:7 But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.

3:8 또한 모든 것을 해로 여김은 내 주 그리스도 예수를 아는 지식이 가장 고상함을 인함이라 내가 그를 위하여 모든 것을 잃어버리고 배설물로 여김은 그리스도를 얻고
3:8 Yes truly, and I am ready to give up all things for the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord, which is more than all: for whom I have undergone the loss of all things, and to me they are less than nothing, so that I may have Christ as my reward,
3:8 Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

3:9 그 안에서 발견되려 함이니 내가 가진 의는 율법에서 난 것이 아니요 오직 그리스도를 믿음으로 말미암은 것이니 곧 믿음으로 하나님께로서 난 의라
3:9 And be seen in him, not having my righteousness which is of the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:
3:9 And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

3:10 내가 그리스도와 그 부활의 권능과 그 고난에 참예함을 알려 하여 그의 죽으심을 본받아
3:10 That I may have knowledge of him, and of the power of his coming back from the dead, and a part with him in his pains, becoming like him in his death;
3:10 That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

3:11 어찌하든지 죽은 자 가운데서 부활에 이르려 하노니
3:11 If in any way I may have the reward of life from the dead.
3:11 If by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

3:12 내가 이미 얻었다 함도 아니요 온전히 이루었다 함도 아니라 오직 내가 그리스도 예수께 잡힌 바 된 그것을 잡으려고 좇아가노라
3:12 Not as if I had even now got the reward or been made complete: but I go on in the hope that I may come to the knowledge of that for which I was made the servant of Christ Jesus.
3:12 Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

3:13 형제들아 나는 아직 내가 잡은 줄로 여기지 아니하고 오직 한 일 즉 뒤에 있는 것은 잊어버리고 앞에 있는 것을 잡으려고
3:13 Brothers, it is clear to me that I have not come to that knowledge; but one thing I do, letting go those things which are past, and stretching out to the things which are before,
3:13 Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

3:14 푯대를 향하여 그리스도 예수 안에서 하나님이 위에서 부르신 부름의 상을 위하여 좇아가노라
3:14 I go forward to the mark, even the reward of the high purpose of God in Christ Jesus.
3:14 I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

3:15 그러므로 누구든지 우리 온전히 이룬 자들은 이렇게 생각할지니 만일 무슨 일에 너희가 달리 생각하면 하나님이 이것도 너희에게 나타내시리라
3:15 Then let us all, who have come to full growth, be of this mind: and if in anything you are of a different mind, even this will God make clear to you:
3:15 Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing all of you be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

3:16 오직 우리가 어디까지 이르렀든지 그대로 행할 것이라
3:16 Only, as far as we have got, let us be guided by the same rule.
3:16 Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

3:17 ○ 형제들아 너희는 함께 나를 본받으라 또 우리로 본을 삼은 것 같이 그대로 행하는 자들을 보이라
3:17 Brothers, take me as your example, and take note of those who are walking after the example we have given.
3:17 Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as all of you have us for an example.

3:18 내가 여러 번 너희에게 말하였거니와 이제도 눈물을 흘리며 말하노니 여러 사람들이 그리스도 십자가의 원수로 행하느니라
3:18 For there are those, of whom I have given you word before, and do so now with sorrow, who are haters of the cross of Christ;
3:18 (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ:

3:19 저희의 마침은 멸망이요 저희의 신은 배요 그 영광은 저희의 부끄러움에 있고 땅의 일을 생각하는 자라
3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose god is the stomach, and whose glory is in their shame, whose minds are fixed on the things of the earth.
3:19 Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.)

3:20 오직 우리의 시민권은 하늘에 있는지라 거기로서 구원하는 자 곧 주 예수 그리스도를 기다리노니
3:20 For our country is in heaven; from where the Saviour for whom we are waiting will come, even the Lord Jesus Christ:
3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

3:21 그가 만물을 자기에게 복종케 하실 수 있는 자의 역사로 우리의 낮은 몸을 자기 영광의 몸의 형체와 같이 변케 하시리라
3:21 By whom this poor body of ours will be changed into the image of the body of his glory, in the measure of the working by which he is able to put all things under himself.
3:21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

 빌립보서 4장

4:1 그러므로 나의 사랑하고 사모하는 형제들, 나의 기쁨이요 면류관인 사랑하는 자들아 이와 같이 주 안에 서라
4:1 So my brothers, well loved and very dear to me, my joy and crown, be strong in the Lord, my loved ones.
4:1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

4:2 ○ 내가 유오디아를 권하고 순두게를 권하노니 주 안에서 같은 마음을 품으라
4:2 I make request to Euodias and Syntyche to be of the same mind in the Lord.
4:2 I plead to Euodias, and plead to Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

4:3 또 참으로 나와 멍에를 같이한 자 네게 구하노니 복음에 나와 함께 힘쓰던 저 부녀들을 돕고 또한 글레멘드와 그 외에 나의 동역자들을 도우라 그 이름들이 생명책에 있느니라
4:3 And I make request to you, true helper in my work, to see to the needs of those women who took part with me in the good news, with Clement and the rest of my brother-workers whose names are in the book of life.
4:3 And I implore you also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellow labourers, whose names are in the book of life.

4:4 ○ 주 안에서 항상 기뻐하라 내가 다시 말하노니 기뻐하라
4:4 Be glad in the Lord at all times: again I say, Be glad.
4:4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

4:5 너희 관용을 모든 사람에게 알게 하라 주께서 가까우시니라
4:5 Let your gentle behaviour be clear to all men. The Lord is near.
4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

4:6 아무 것도 염려하지 말고 오직 모든 일에 기도와 간구로, 너희 구할 것을 감사함으로 하나님께 아뢰라
4:6 Have no cares; but in everything with prayer and praise put your requests before God.
4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

4:7 그리하면 모든 지각에 뛰어난 하나님의 평강이 그리스도 예수 안에서 너희 마음과 생각을 지키시리라
4:7 And the peace of God, which is deeper than all knowledge, will keep your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
4:7 And the peace of God, which passes all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

4:8 ○ 종말로 형제들아 무엇에든지 참되며 무엇에든지 경건하며 무엇에든지 옳으며 무엇에든지 정결하며 무엇에든지 사랑할 만하며 무엇에든지 칭찬할 만하며 무슨 덕이 있든지 무슨 기림이 있든지 이것들을 생각하라
4:8 For the rest, my brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things have honour, whatever things are upright, whatever things are holy, whatever things are beautiful, whatever things are of value, if there is any virtue and if there is any praise, give thought to these things.
4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

4:9 너희는 내게 배우고 받고 듣고 본 바를 행하라 그리하면 평강의 하나님이 너희와 함께 계시리라
4:9 The things which came to you by my teaching and preaching, and which you saw in me, these things do, and the God of peace will be with you.
4:9 Those things, which all of you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

4:10 ○ 내가 주 안에서 크게 기뻐함은 너희가 나를 생각하던 것이 이제 다시 싹이 남이니 너희가 또한 이를 위하여 생각은 하였으나 기회가 없었느니라
4:10 But I am very glad in the Lord that your care for me has come to life again; though you did in fact take thought for me, but you were not able to give effect to it.
4:10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me has flourished again; wherein all of you were also careful, but all of you lacked opportunity.

4:11 내가 궁핍하므로 말하는 것이 아니라 어떠한 형편에든지 내가 자족하기를 배웠노니
4:11 But I will not say anything about my needs, for I am able, wherever I am, to be dependent on myself.
4:11 Not that I speak in respect of lack: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

4:12 내가 비천에 처할 줄도 알고 풍부에 처할 줄도 알아 모든 일에 배부르며 배고픔과 풍부와 궁핍에도 일체의 비결을 배웠노라
4:12 It is the same to me if I am looked down on or honoured; everywhere and in all things I have the secret of how to be full and how to go without food; how to have wealth and how to be in need.
4:12 I know both how to be brought low, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

4:13 내게 능력 주시는 자 안에서 내가 모든 것을 할 수 있느니라
4:13 I am able to do all things through him who gives me strength.
4:13 I can do all things through Christ which strengthens me.

4:14 그러나 너희가 내 괴로움에 함께 참예하였으니 잘하였도다
4:14 But you did well to have care for me in my need.
4:14 Notwithstanding all of you have well done, that all of you did communicate with my affliction.

4:15 빌립보 사람들아 너희도 알거니와 복음의 시초에 내가 마게도냐를 떠날 때에 주고 받는 내 일에 참예한 교회가 너희 외에 아무도 없었느니라
4:15 And you have knowledge, Philippians, that when the good news first came to you, when I went away from Macedonia, no church took part with me in the business of giving to the saints, but you only;
4:15 Now all of you Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning (o. logos) giving and receiving, but all of you only.

4:16 데살로니가에 있을 때에도 너희가 한 번 두 번 나의 쓸 것을 보내었도다
4:16 Because even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to me in my need.
4:16 For even in Thessalonica all of you sent once and again unto my necessity.

4:17 내가 선물을 구함이 아니요 오직 너희에게 유익하도록 과실이 번성하기를 구함이라
4:17 Not that I am looking for an offering, but for fruit which may be put to your credit.
4:17 Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account. (o. logos)

4:18 내게는 모든 것이 있고 또 풍부한지라 에바브로디도 편에 너희의 준 것을 받으므로 내가 풍족하니 이는 받으실 만한 향기로운 제물이요 하나님을 기쁘시게 한 것이라
4:18 I have all things and more than enough: I am made full, having had from Epaphroditus the things which came from you, a perfume of a sweet smell, an offering well pleasing to God.
4:18 But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, well-pleasing to God.

4:19 나의 하나님이 그리스도 예수 안에서 영광 가운게 그 풍성한 대로 너희 모든 쓸 것을 채우시리라
4:19 And my God will give you all you have need of from the wealth of his glory in Christ Jesus.
4:19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

4:20 하나님 곧 우리 아버지께 세세 무궁토록 영광을 돌릴지어다 아멘
4:20 Now to God our Father be glory for ever and ever. So be it.
4:20 Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

4:21 ○ 그리스도 예수 안에 있는 성도에게 각각 문안하라 나와 함께 있는 형제들이 너희에게 문안하고
4:21 Give words of love to every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me send you their love.
4:21 Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

4:22 모든 성도들이 너희에게 문안하되 특별히 가이사 집 사람 중 몇이니라
4:22 All the saints send their love to you, specially those who are of Caesar's house.
4:22 All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar's household.

4:23 ○ 주 예수 그리스도의 은혜가 너희 심령에 있을지어다
4:23 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ be with your spirit.
4:23 The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen. #@#
