시편 25 편【다윗의 시】
25:1 여호와여 나의 영혼이 주를 우러러 보나이다
25:1 Lord, my soul is lifted up.
25:1 Unto you, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
25:2 나의 하나님이여 내가 주께 의지하였사오니 나로 부끄럽지 않게 하시고 나의
원수로 나를 이기어 개가를 부르지 못하게 하소서
25:2 O my God, I have put my faith in you, let me not be shamed; let not my haters be
glorying over me.
25:2 O my God, I trust in you: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
25:3 주를 바라는 자는 수치를 당하지 아니하려니와 무고히 속이는 자는 수치를
당하리이다
25:3 Let no servant of yours be put to shame; may those be shamed who are false without
cause.
25:3 Yea, let none that wait on you be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
25:4 여호와여 주의 도를 내게 보이시고 주의 길을 내게 가르치소서
25:4 Make your steps clear to me, O Lord; give me knowledge of your ways.
25:4 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
25:5 주의 진리로 나를 지도하시고 교훈하소서 주는 내 구원의 하나님이시니 내가
종일 주를 바라나이다
25:5 Be my guide and teacher in the true way; for you are the God of my salvation; I
am waiting for your word all the day.
25:5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.
25:6 여호와여 주의 긍휼하심과 인자하심이 영원부터 있었사오니 주여 이것을
기억하옵소서
25:6 O Lord, keep in mind your pity and your mercies; for they have been from the earliest
times.
25:6 Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your loving kindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
25:7 여호와여 내 소시의 죄와 허물을 기억지 마시고 주의 인자하심을 따라 나를
기억하시되 주의 선하심을 인하여 하옵소서
25:7 Do not keep in mind my sins when I was young, or my wrongdoing: let your memory
of me be full of mercy, O Lord, because of your righteousness.
25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to your mercy remember you me for your goodness' sake, O LORD.
25:8 여호와는 선하시고 정직하시니 그러므로 그 도로 죄인을 교훈하시리로다
25:8 Good and upright is the Lord: so he will be the teacher of sinners in the way.
25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
25:9 온유한 자를 공의로 지도하심이여 온유한 자에게 그 도를 가르치시리로다
25:9 He will be an upright guide to the poor in spirit: he will make his way clear to
them.
25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
25:10 여호와의 모든 길은 그 언약과 증거를 지키는 자에게 인자와 진리로다
25:10 All the ways of the Lord are mercy and good faith for those who keep his agreement
and his witness.
25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
25:11 여호와여 나의 죄악이 중대하오니 주의 이름을 인하여 사하소서
25:11 Because of your name, O Lord, let me have forgiveness for my sin, which is very
great.
25:11 For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
25:12 여호와를 경외하는 자 누구뇨 그 택할 길을 저에게 가르치시리로다
25:12 If a man has the fear of the Lord, the Lord will be his teacher in the way of his
pleasure.
25:12 What man is he that fears the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
25:13 저의 영혼은 평안히 거하고 그 자손은 땅을 상속하리로다
25:13 His soul will be full of good things, and his seed will have the earth for its heritage.
25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
25:14 여호와의 친밀함이 경외하는 자에게 있음이여 그 언약을 저희에게 보이시리로다
25:14 The secret of the Lord is with those in whose hearts is the fear of him; he will
make his agreement clear to them.
25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.
25:15 내 눈이 항상 여호와를 앙망함은 내 발을 그물에서 벗어나게 하실 것임이로다
25:15 My eyes are turned to the Lord at all times; for he will take my feet out of the
net.
25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
25:16 주여 나는 외롭고 괴롭사오니 내게 돌이키사 나를 긍휼히 여기소서
25:16 Be turned to me, and have mercy on me; for I am troubled and have no helper.
25:16 Turn you unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
25:17 내 마음의 근심이 많사오니 나를 곤난에서 끌어내소서
25:17 The troubles of my heart are increased: O take me out of my sorrows.
25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring you me out of my distresses.
25:18 나의 곤고와 환난을 보시고 내 모든 죄를 사하소서
25:18 Give thought to my grief and my pain; and take away all my sins.
25:18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
25:19 내 원수를 보소서 저희가 많고 나를 심히 미워함이니이다
25:19 See how those who are against me are increased, for bitter is their hate of me.
25:19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
25:20 내 영혼을 지켜 나를 구원하소서 내가 주께 피하오니 수치를 당치 말게
하소서
25:20 O keep my soul, and take me out of danger: let me not be shamed, for I have put
my faith in you.
25:20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in you.
25:21 내가 주를 바라오니 성실과 정직으로 나를 보호하소서
25:21 For my clean and upright ways keep me safe, because my hope is in you.
25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on you.
25:22 하나님이여 이스라엘을 그 모든 환난에서 구속하소서
25:22 Give Israel salvation, O God, out of all his troubles.
25:22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
26:1 내가 나의 완전함에 행하였사오며 요동치 아니하고 여호와를 의지하였사오니
여호와여 나를 판단하소서
26:1 O Lord, be my judge, for my behaviour has been upright:
I have put my faith in the Lord, I am not in danger of slipping.
26:1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
26:2 여호와여 나를 살피시고 시험하사 내 뜻과 내 마음을 단련하소서
26:2 Put me in the scales, O Lord, so that I may be tested; let the fire make clean my
thoughts and my heart.
26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
26:3 주의 인자하심이 내 목전에 있나이다 내가 주의 진리 중에 행하여
26:3 For your mercy is before my eyes; and I have gone in the way of your good faith.
26:3 For your loving kindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in your truth.
26:4 허망한 사람과 같이 앉지 아니하였사오니 간사한 자와 동행치도 아니하리이다
26:4 I have not taken my seat with foolish persons, and I do not go with false men.
26:4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
26:5 내가 행악자의 집회를 미워하오니 악한 자와 같이 앉지 아니하리이다
26:5 I have been a hater of the band of wrongdoers, and I will not be seated among sinners.
26:5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.
26:6 여호와여 내가 무죄하므로 손을 씻고 주의 단에 두루 다니며
26:6 I will make my hands clean from sin; so will I go round your altar, O Lord;
26:6 I will wash mine hands in innocence: so will I compass yours altar, O LORD:
26:7 감사의 소리를 들리고 주의 기이한 모든 일을 이르리이다
26:7 That I may give out the voice of praise, and make public all the wonders which you
have done.
26:7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all your wondrous works.
26:8 여호와여 내가 주의 계신 집과 주의 영광이 거하는 곳을 사랑하오니
26:8 Lord, your house has been dear to me, and the resting-place of your glory.
26:8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of your house, and the place where yours honour dwells.
26:9 내 영혼을 죄인과 함께 내 생명을 살인자와 함께 거두지 마소서
26:9 Let not my soul be numbered among sinners, or my life among men of blood;
26:9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
26:10 저희 손에 악특함이 있고 그 오른손에 뇌물이 가득하오나
26:10 In whose hands are evil designs, and whose right hands take money for judging falsely.
26:10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.
26:11 나는 나의 완전함에 행하오리니 나를 구속하시고 긍휼히 여기소서
26:11 But as for me, I will go on in my upright ways: be my saviour, and have mercy on
me.
26:11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.
26:12 내 발이 평탄한 데 섰사오니 회중에서 여호와를 송축하리이다
26:12 I have a safe resting-place for my feet; I will give praise to the Lord in the meetings
of the people.
26:12 My foot stands in an even place: in the congregations will I bless the LORD.
27:1 여호와는 나의 빛이요 나의 구원이시니 내가 누구를 두려워하리요 여호와는
내 생명의 능력이시니 내가 누구를 무서워하리요
27:1 The Lord is my light and my salvation; who is then a cause
of fear to me? the Lord is the strength of my life; who is a danger to me?
27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
27:2 나의 대적, 나의 원수된 행악자가 내 살을 먹으려고 내게로 왔다가 실족하여
넘어졌도다
27:2 When evil-doers, even my haters, came on me to put an end to me, they were broken
and put to shame.
27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
27:3 군대가 나를 대적하여 진 칠지라도 내 마음이 두렵지 아니하며 전쟁이 일어나
나를 치려 할지라도 내가 오히려 안연하리로다
27:3 Even if an army came against me with its tents, my heart would have no fear: if
war was made on me, my faith would not be moved.
27:3 Though an host should camp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
27:4 내가 여호와께 청하였던 한 가지 일 곧 그것을 구하리니 곧 나로 내 생전에
여호와의 집에 거하여 여호와의 아름다움을 앙망하며 그 전에서 사모하게 하실 것이라
27:4 One prayer have I made to the Lord, and this is my heart's desire; that I may have
a place in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, looking on his glory,
and getting wisdom in his Temple.
27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
27:5 여호와께서 환난 날에 나를 그 초막 속에 비밀히 지키시고 그 장막 은밀한
곳에 나를 숨기시며 바위 위에 높이 두시리로다
27:5 For in the time of trouble he will keep me safe in his tent: in the secret place
of his tent he will keep me from men's eyes; high on a rock he will put me.
27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
27:6 이제 내 머리가 나를 두른 내 원수 위에 들리리니 내가 그 장막에서 즐거운
제사를 드리겠고 노래하여 여호와를 찬송하리로다
27:6 And now my head will be lifted up higher than my haters who are round me: because
of this I will make offerings of joy in his tent; I will make a song, truly I will
make a song of praise to the Lord.
27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
27:7 여호와여 내가 소리로 부르짖을 때에 들으시고 또한 나를 긍휼히 여기사
응답하소서
27:7 O Lord, let the voice of my cry come to your ears: have mercy on me, and give me
an answer.
27:7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
27:8 너희는 내 얼굴을 찾으라 하실 때에 내 마음이 주께 말하되 여호와여 내가
주의 얼굴을 찾으리이다 하였나이다
27:8 When you said, Make search for my face, my heart said to you, For your face will
I make my search.
27:8 When you said, Seek all of you my face; my heart said unto you, Your face, LORD, will I seek.
27:9 주의 얼굴을 내게서 숨기지 마시고 주의 종을 노하여 버리지 마소서 주는
나의 도움이 되셨나이다 나의 구원의 하나님이시여 나를 버리지 말고 떠나지 마옵소서
27:9 Let not your face be covered from me; do not put away your servant in wrath; you
have been my help: do not give me up or take your support from me, O God of my salvation.
27:9 Hide not your face far from me; put not your servant away in anger: you have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
27:10 내 부모는 나를 버렸으나 여호와는 나를 영접하시리이다
27:10 When my father and my mother are turned away from me, then the Lord will be my support.
27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
27:11 여호와여 주의 길로 나를 가르치시고 내 원수를 인하여 평탄한 길로 인도하소서
27:11 Make your way clear to me, O Lord, guiding me by the right way, because of my haters.
27:11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
27:12 내 생명을 내 대적의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서 위증자와 악을 토하는 자가 일어나
나를 치려 함이니이다
27:12 Do not give me into their hands, because false witnesses have come out against me,
and men breathing destruction.
27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
27:13 내가 산 자의 땅에 있음이여 여호와의 은혜 볼 것을 믿었도다
27:13 I had almost given up my hope of seeing the blessing of the Lord in the land of
the living.
27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
27:14 너는 여호와를 바랄지어다 강하고 담대하며 여호와를 바랄지어다
27:14 Let your hope be in the Lord: take heart and be strong; yes, let your hope be in
the Lord.
27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen yours heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
28:1 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖으오니 나의 반석이여 내게 귀를 막지 마소서 주께서
내게 잠잠하시면 내가 무덤에 내려가는 자와 같을까 하나이다
28:1 My cry goes up to you, O Lord, my Rock; do not keep back
your answer from me, so that I may not become like those who go down into the underworld.
28:1 Unto you will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if you be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
28:2 내가 주의 성소를 향하여 나의 손을 들고 주께 부르짖을 때에 나의 간구하는
소리를 들으소서
28:2 Give ear to the voice of my prayer, when I am crying to you, when my hands are lifted
up to your holy place.
28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle.
28:3 악인과 행악하는 자와 함께 나를 끌지 마옵소서 저희는 그 이웃에게 화평을
말하나 그 마음에는 악독이 있나이다
28:3 Do not take me away with the sinners and the workers of evil, who say words of peace
to their neighbours, but evil is in their hearts.
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
28:4 저희의 행사와 그 행위의 악한 대로 갚으시며 저희 손의 지은 대로 갚아 그
마땅히 받을 것으로 보응하소서
28:4 Give them the right reward of their acts, and of their evil doings: give them punishment
for the works of their hands, let them have their full reward.
28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
28:5 저희는 여호와의 행하신 일과 손으로 지으신 것을 생각지 아니하므로 여호와께서
저희를 파괴하고 건설치 아니하시리로다
28:5 Because they have no respect for the works of the Lord, or for the things which
his hands have made, they will be broken down and not lifted up by him.
28:5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
28:6 ○ 여호와를 찬송함이여 내 간구하는 소리를 들으심이로다
28:6 May the Lord be praised, because he has given ear to the voice of my prayer.
28:6 Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my supplications.
28:7 여호와는 나의 힘과 나의 방패시니 내 마음이 저를 의지하여 도움을 얻었도다
그러므로 내 마음이 크게 기뻐하며 내 노래로 저를 찬송하리로다
28:7 The Lord is my strength and my breastplate, my heart had faith in him and I am helped;
for this cause my heart is full of rapture, and I will give him praise in my song.
28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.
28:8 여호와는 저희의 힘이시요 그 기름 부음 받은 자의 구원의 산성이시로다
28:8 The Lord is their strength, and a strong place of salvation for his king.
28:8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
28:9 주의 백성을 구원하시며 주의 산업에 복을 주시고 또 저희의 목자가 되사
영원토록 드십소서
28:9 Be a saviour to your people, and send a blessing on your heritage: be their guide,
and let them be lifted up for ever.
28:9 Save your people, and bless yours inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.
29:1 너희 권능 있는 자들아 영광과 능력을 여호와께 돌리고 돌릴지어다
29:1 Give to the Lord, you sons of the gods, give
to the Lord glory and strength.
29:1 Give unto the LORD, O all of you mighty, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
29:2 여호와의 이름에 합당한 영광을 돌리며 거룩한 옷을 입고 여호와께 경배할지어다
29:2 Give to the Lord the full glory of his name; give him worship in holy robes.
29:2 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name; worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness.
29:3 ○ 여호와의 소리가 물 위에 있도다 영광의 하나님이 뇌성을 발하시니 여호와는
많은 물 위에 계시도다
29:3 The voice of the Lord is on the waters: the God of glory is thundering, the Lord
is on the great waters.
29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.
29:4 여호와의 소리가 힘 있음이여 여호와의 소리가 위엄차도다
29:4 The voice of the Lord is full of power; the voice of the Lord has a noble sound.
29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.
29:5 여호와의 소리가 백향목을 꺽으심이여 여호와께서 레바논 백향목을 꺽어
부수시도다
29:5 By the voice of the Lord are the cedar-trees broken, even the cedars of Lebanon
are broken by the Lord.
29:5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
29:6 그 나무를 송아지 같이 뛰게 하심이여 레바논과 시룐으로 들송아지 같이
뛰게 하시도다
29:6 He makes them go jumping about like a young ox; Lebanon and Sirion like a young
mountain ox.
29:6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn (p. ox).
29:7 여호와의 소리가 화염을 가르시도다
29:7 At the voice of the Lord flames of fire are seen.
29:7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.
29:8 여호와의 소리가 광야를 진동하심이여 여호와께서 가데스 광야를 진동하시도다
29:8 At the voice of the Lord there is a shaking in the waste land, even a shaking in
the waste land of Kadesh.
29:8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.
29:9 여호와의 소리가 암사슴으로 낙태케 하시고 삼림을 말갛게 벗기시니 그 전에서
모든 것이 말하기를 영광이라 하도다
29:9 At the voice of the Lord the roes give birth, the leaves are taken from the trees:
in his Temple everything says, Glory.
29:9 The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory.
29:10 ○ 여호와께서 홍수 때에 좌정하셨음이여 여호와께서 영영토록 왕으로 좌정하시도다
29:10 The Lord had his seat as king when the waters came on the earth; the Lord is seated
as king for ever.
29:10 The LORD sits upon the flood; yea, the LORD sits King for ever.
29:11 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 힘을 주심이여 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 평강의
복을 주시리로다
29:11 The Lord will give strength to his people; the Lord will give his people the blessing
of peace.
29:11 The LORD will give strength unto his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.
30:1 여호와여 내가 주를 높일 것은 주께서 나를 끌어내사 내 대적으로 나를
인하여 기뻐하지 못하게 하심이니이다
30:1 I will give
you praise and honour, O Lord, because through you I have been lifted up; you have
not given my haters cause to be glad over me.
30:1 I will extol you, O LORD; for you have lifted me up, and have not made my foes to rejoice over me.
30:2 여호와 내 하나님이여 내가 주께 부르짖으매 나를 고치셨나이다
30:2 O Lord my God, I sent up my cry to you, and you have made me well.
30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto you, and you have healed me.
30:3 여호와여 주께서 내 영혼을 음부에서 끌어내어 나를 살리사 무덤으로 내려가지
않게 하셨나이다
30:3 O Lord, you have made my soul come again from the underworld: you have given me
life and kept me from going down among the dead.
30:3 O LORD, you have brought up my soul from the grave: you have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
30:4 주의 성도들아 여호와를 찬송하며 그 거룩한 이름에 감사할지어다
30:4 Make songs to the Lord, O you saints of his, and give praise to his holy name.
30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O all of you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
30:5 그 노염은 잠간이요 그 은총은 평생이로다 저녁에는 울음이 기숙할지라도
아침에는 기쁨이 오리로다
30:5 For his wrath is only for a minute; in his grace there is life; weeping may be for
a night, but joy comes in the morning.
30:5 For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
30:6 내가 형통할 때에 말하기를 영영히 요동치 아니하리라 하였도다
30:6 When things went well for me I said, I will never be moved.
30:6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.
30:7 여호와께서 주의 은혜로 내 산을 굳게 세우셨더니 주의 얼굴을 가리우시매
내가 근심하였나이다
30:7 Lord, by your grace you have kept my mountain strong: when your face was turned
from me I was troubled.
30:7 LORD, by your favour you have made my mountain to stand strong: you did hide your face, and I was troubled.
30:8 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖고 여호와께 간구하기를
30:8 My voice went up to you, O Lord; I made my prayer to the Lord.
30:8 I cried to you, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.
30:9 내가 무덤에 내려갈 때에 나의 피가 무슨 유익이 있으리요 어찌 진토가 주를
찬송하며 주의 진리를 선포하리이까
30:9 What profit is there in my blood if I go down into the underworld? will the dust
give you praise, or be a witness to your help?
30:9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? shall it declare your truth?
30:10 여호와여 들으시고 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 여호와여 나의 돕는 자가 되소서
하였나이다
30:10 Give ear to me, O Lord, and have mercy on me: Lord, be my helper.
30:10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be you my helper.
30:11 주께서 나의 슬픔을 변하여 춤이 되게 하시며 나의 베옷을 벗기고 기쁨으로
띠 띠우셨나이다
30:11 By you my sorrow is turned into dancing; you have taken away my clothing of grief,
and given me robes of joy;
30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;
30:12 이는 잠잠치 아니하고 내 영광으로 주를 찬송케 하심이니 여호와 나의 하나님이여
내가 주께 영영히 감사하리이다
30:12 So that my glory may make songs of praise to you and not be quiet. O Lord my God,
I will give you praise for ever.
30:12 To the end that my glory may sing praise to you, and not be silent. O LORD my God, I will give thanks unto you for ever.
31:1 여호와여 내가 주께 피하오니 나로 영원히 부끄럽게 마시고 주의 의로 나를
건지소서
31:1 In you, O Lord, have
I put my hope; let me never be shamed; keep me safe in your righteousness.
31:1 In you, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness.
31:2 내게 귀를 기울여 속히 건지시고 내게 견고한 바위와 구원하는 보장이 되소서
31:2 Let your ear be turned to me; take me quickly out of danger; be my strong Rock,
my place of strength where I may be safe.
31:2 Bow down yours ear to me; deliver me speedily: be you my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
31:3 주는 나의 반석과 산성이시니 그러므로 주의 이름을 인하여 나를 인도하시고
지도하소서
31:3 For you are my Rock and my strong tower; go in front of me and be my guide, because
of your name.
31:3 For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.
31:4 저희가 나를 위하여 비밀히 친 그물에서 빼어내소서 주는 나의 산성이시니이다
31:4 Take me out of the net which they have put ready for me secretly; for you are my
strength.
31:4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privately for me: for you are my strength.
31:5 내가 나의 영을 주의 손에 부탁하나이다 진리의 하나님 여호와여 나를 구속하셨나이다
31:5 Into your hands I give my spirit; you are my saviour, O Lord God for ever true.
31:5 Into yours hand I commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
31:6 내가 허탄한 거짓을 숭상하는 자를 미워하고 여호와를 의지하나이다
31:6 I am full of hate for those who go after false gods; but my hope is in the Lord.
31:6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
31:7 내가 주의 인자하심을 기뻐하며 즐거워할 것은 주께서 나의 곤란을 감찰하사
환난 중에 있는 내 영혼을 아셨고
31:7 I will be glad and have delight in your mercy; because you have seen my trouble;
you have had pity on my soul in its sorrows;
31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities;
31:8 나를 대적의 수중에 금고치 아니하셨고 내 발을 넓은 곳에 세우셨음이니이다
31:8 And you have not given me into the hand of my hater; you have put my feet in a wide
place.
31:8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: you have set my feet in a large room.
31:9 여호와여 내 고통을 인하여 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 내가 근심으로 눈과 혼과
몸이 쇠하였나이다
31:9 Have mercy on me, O Lord, for I am in trouble; my eyes are wasted with grief, I
am wasted in soul and body.
31:9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
31:10 내 생명은 슬픔으로 보내며 나의 해는 탄식으로 보냄이여 내 기력이 나의
죄악으로 약하며 나의 뼈가 쇠하도소이다
31:10 My life goes on in sorrow, and my years in weeping; my strength is almost gone because
of my sin, and my bones are wasted away.
31:10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength fails because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
31:11 내가 모든 대적으로 말미암아 욕을 당하고 내 이웃에게서는 심히 당하니
내 친구가 놀라고 길에서 보는 자가 나를 피하였나이다
31:11 Because of all those who are against me, I have become a word of shame to my neighbours;
a cause of shaking the head and a fear to my friends: those who saw me in the street
went in flight from me.
31:11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
31:12 내가 잊어버린 바 됨이 사망한 자를 마음에 두지 아니함 같고 파기와 같으니이다
31:12 I have gone from men's minds and memory like a dead man; I am like a broken vessel.
31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.
31:13 내가 무리의 비방을 들으오며 사방에 두려움이 있나이다 저희가 나를 치려
의논할 때에 내 생명을 빼앗기로 꾀하였나이다
31:13 False statements against me have come to my ears; fear was on every side: they were
talking together against me, designing to take away my life.
31:13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.
31:14 여호와여 그러하여도 나는 주께 의지하고 말하기를 주는 내 하나님이시라
하였나이다
31:14 But I had faith in you, O Lord; I said, You are my God.
31:14 But I trusted in you, O LORD: I said, You are my God.
31:15 내 시대가 주의 손에 있사오니 내 원수와 핍박하는 자의 손에서 나를 건지소서
31:15 The chances of my life are in your hand; take me out of the hands of my haters,
and of those who go after me.
31:15 My times are in your hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.
31:16 주의 얼굴을 주의 종에게 비취시고 주의 인자하심으로 나를 구원하소서
31:16 Let your servant see the light of your face; in your mercy be my saviour.
31:16 Make your face to shine upon your servant: save me for your mercies' sake.
31:17 여호와여 내가 주를 불렀사오니 나로 부끄럽게 마시고 악인을 부끄럽게
하사 음부에서 잠잠케 하소서
31:17 Let me not be shamed, O Lord, for I have made my prayer to you; let the sinners
be shamed, and let their mouths be shut in the underworld.
31:17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon you: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
31:18 교만하고 완악한 말로 무례히 의인을 치는 거짓 입술로 벙어리 되게 하소서
31:18 Let the false lips be shut, which say evil against the upright, looking down on
him in their pride.
31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
31:19 주를 두려워하는 자를 위하여 쌓아 두신 은혜 곧 인생 앞에서 주께 피하는
자를 위하여 베푸신 은혜가 어찌 그리 큰지요
31:19 O how great is your grace, which you have put in store for your worshippers, and
which you have made clear to those who had faith in you, before the sons of men!
31:19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!
31:20 주께서 저희를 주의 은밀한 곳에 숨기사 사람의 꾀에서 벗어나게 하시고
비밀히 장막에 감추사 구설의 다툼에서 면하게 하시리이다
31:20 You will keep them safe in your house from the designs of man; in the secret of
your tent will you keep them from angry tongues.
31:20 You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
31:21 여호와를 찬송할지어다 견고한 성에서 그 기이한 인자를 내게 보이셨음이로다
31:21 May the Lord be praised, because he has made clear to me the wonder of his grace
in a strong town.
31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he has showed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
31:22 내가 경겁한 중에 말하기를 주의 목전에서 끊어졌다 하였사오나 내가 주께
부르짖을 때에 주께서 나의 간구하는 소리를 들으셨나이다
31:22 And as for me, I said in my fear, I am cut off from before your eyes; but you gave
ear to the voice of my prayer, when my cry went up to you.
31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before yours eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto you.
31:23 너희 모든 성도들아 여호와를 사랑하라 여호와께서 성실한 자를 보호하시고
교만히 행하는 자에게 엄중히 갚으시느니라
31:23 O have love for the Lord, all you his saints; for the Lord keeps safe from danger
all those who are true to him, and gives the workers of pride their right reward.
31:23 O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD perserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.
31:24 강하고 담대하라 여호와를 바라는 너희들아
31:24 Put away fear and let your heart be strong, all you whose hope is in the Lord.
31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.
32:1 허물의 사함을 얻고 그 죄의 가리움을 받은 자는 복이 있도다
32:1 Happy is he who has forgiveness for his wrongdoing,
and whose sin is covered.
32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
32:2 마음에 간사가 없고 여호와께 정죄를 당치 않은 자는 복이 있도다
32:2 Happy is the man in whom the Lord sees no evil, and in whose spirit there is no
deceit.
32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
32:3 내가 토설치 아니할 때에 종일 신음하므로 내 뼈가 쇠하였도다
32:3 When I kept my mouth shut, my bones were wasted, because of my crying all through
the day.
32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
32:4 주의 손이 주야로 나를 누르시오니 내 진액이 화하여 여름 가물에 마름 같이
되었나이다
32:4 For the weight of your hand was on me day and night; my body became dry like the
earth in summer. (Selah.)
32:4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
32:5 내가 이르기를 내 허물을 여호와께 자복하리라 하고 주께 내 죄를 아뢰고
내 죄악을 숨기지 아니하였더니 곧 주께서 내 죄의 악을 사하셨나이다
32:5 I made my wrongdoing clear to you, and did not keep back my sin. I said, I will
put it all before the Lord; and you took away my wrongdoing and my sin. (Selah.)
32:5 I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
32:6 이로 인하여 무릇 경건한 자는 주를 만날 기회를 타서 주께 기도할지라 진실로
홍수가 범람할지라도 저에게 미치지 못하리이다
32:6 For this cause let every saint make his prayer to you at a time when you are near:
then the overflowing of the great waters will not overtake him.
32:6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
32:7 주는 나의 은신처이오니 환난에서 나를 보호하시고 구원의 노래로 나를 에우시리이다
32:7 You are my safe and secret place; you will keep me from trouble; you will put songs
of salvation on the lips of those who are round me. (Selah.)
32:7 You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
32:8 내가 너의 갈 길을 가르쳐 보이고 너를 주목하여 훈계하리로다
32:8 I will give you knowledge, teaching you the way to go; my eye will be your guide.
32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.
32:9 너희는 무지한 말이나 노새 같이 되지 말지어다 그것들은 자갈과 굴레로
단속하지 아니하면 너희에게 가까이 오지 아니하리로다
32:9 Do not be like the horse or the ass, without sense; ...
32:9 Be all of you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto you.
32:10 악인에게는 많은 슬픔이 있으나 여호와를 신뢰하는 자에게는 인자하심이
두르리로다
32:10 The sinner will be full of trouble; but mercy will be round the man who has faith
in the Lord.
32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
32:11 너희 의인들아 여호와를 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 마음이 정직한 너희들아
다 즐거이 외칠지어다
32:11 Be glad in the Lord with joy, you upright men; give cries of joy, all you whose
hearts are true.
32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, all of you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.
33:1 너희 의인들아 여호와를 즐거워하라 찬송은 정직한 자의 마땅히 할 바로다
33:1 Be glad in the Lord, O doers of righteousness; for praise is beautiful for the upright.
33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O all of you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
33:2 수금으로 여호와께 감사하고 열 줄 비파로 찬송할지어다
33:2 Give praise to the Lord on the corded instrument; make melody to him with instruments
of music.
33:2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
33:3 새 노래로 그를 노래하며 즐거운 소리로 공교히 연주할지어다
33:3 Make a new song to him; playing expertly with a loud noise.
33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
33:4 여호와의 말씀은 정직하며 그 행사는 다 진실하시도다
33:4 For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his works are certain.
33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
33:5 저는 정의와 공의를 사랑하심이여 세상에 여호와의 인자하심이 충만하도다
33:5 His delight is in righteousness and wisdom; the earth is full of the mercy of the
Lord.
33:5 He loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
33:6 여호와의 말씀으로 하늘이 지음이 되었으며 그 만상이 그 입 기운으로 이루었도다
33:6 By the word of the Lord were the heavens made; and all the army of heaven by the
breath of his mouth.

33:7 저가 바닷물을 모아 무더기 같이 쌓으시며 깊은 물을 곳간에 두시도다
33:7 He makes the waters of the sea come together in a mass; he keeps the deep seas in
store-houses.

33:8 온 땅은 여호와를 두려워하며 세계의 모든 거민은 그를 경외할지어다
33:8 Let the earth be full of the fear of the Lord; let all the people of the world be
in holy fear of him.
33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:9 저가 말씀하시매 이루었으며 명하시매 견고히 섰도다
33:9 For he gave the word, and it was done; by his order it was fixed for ever.
33:9 For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
33:10 여호와께서 열방의 도모를 폐하시며 민족들의 사상을 무효케 하시도다
33:10 The Lord undoes the designs of the nations; he makes the thoughts of the peoples
without effect.
33:10 The LORD brings the counsel of the heathen to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of no effect.
33:11 여호와의 도모는 영영히 서고 그 심사는 대대에 이르리로다
33:11 The Lord's purpose is eternal, the designs of his heart go on through all the generations
of man.
33:11 The counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
33:12 여호와로 자기 하나님을 삼은 나라 곧 하나님의 기업으로 빼신 바 된 백성은
복이 있도다
33:12 Happy is the nation whose God is the Lord; and the people whom he has taken for
his heritage.
33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
33:13 여호와께서 하늘에서 감찰하사 모든 인생을 보심이여
33:13 The Lord is looking down from heaven; he sees all the sons of men;
33:13 The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
33:14 곧 그 거하신 곳에서 세상의 모든 거민을 하감하시도다
33:14 From his house he keeps watch on all who are living on the earth;
33:14 From the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
33:15 저는 일반의 마음을 지으시며 저희 모든 행사를 감찰하시는 자로다
33:15 He makes all their hearts; their works are clear to him.
33:15 He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.
33:16 많은 군대로 구원 얻은 왕이 없으며 용사가 힘이 커도 스스로 구하지 못하는도다
33:16 A king's salvation is not in the power of his army; a strong man does not get free
by his great strength.
33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
33:17 구원함에 말은 헛 것임이여 그 큰 힘으로 구하지 못하는도다
33:17 A horse is a false hope; his great power will not make any man free from danger.
33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
33:18 여호와는 그 경외하는 자 곧 그 인자하심을 바라는 자를 살피사
33:18 See, the eye of the Lord is on those in whose hearts is the fear of him, on those
whose hope is in his mercy;
33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
33:19 저희 영혼을 사망에서 건지시며 저희를 기근시에 살게 하시는도다
33:19 To keep their souls from death; and to keep them living in time of need.
33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
33:20 우리 영혼이 여호와를 바람이여 저는 우리의 도움과 방패시로다
33:20 Our souls are waiting for the Lord; he is our help and our salvation.
33:20 Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
33:21 우리 마음이 저를 즐거워함이여 우리가 그 성호를 의지한 연고로다
33:21 For in him our hearts have joy; in his holy name is our hope.

34:1 내가 여호와를 항상 송축함이여 그를 송축함이 내 입에 계속하리로다
34:1 I will be blessing the Lord at all times; his praise
will be ever in my mouth.
34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
34:2 내 영혼이 여호와로 자랑하리니 곤고한 자가 이를 듣고 기뻐하리로다
34:2 My soul will say great things of the Lord: the poor in spirit will have knowledge
of it and be glad.
34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.

34:3 O give praise to the Lord with me; let us be witnesses together of his great name.

34:5 저희가 주를 앙망하고 광채를 입었으니 그 얼굴이 영영히 부끄럽지 아니하리로다
34:5 Let your eyes be turned to him and you will have light, and your faces will not

34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
34:6 이 곤고한 자가 부르짖으매 여호와께서 들으시고 그 모든 환난에서 구원하셨도다
34:6 This poor man's cry came before the Lord, and he gave him salvation from all his
troubles.
34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
34:7 여호와의 사자가 주를 경외하는 자를 둘러 진 치고 저희를 건지시는도다
34:7 The angel of the Lord is ever watching over those who have fear of him, to keep
them safe.
34:7 The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
34:8 너희는 여호와의 선하심을 맛보아 알지어다 그에게 피하는 자는 복이 있도다
34:8 By experience you will see that the Lord is good; happy is the man who has faith
in him.
34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
34:9 너희 성도들아 여호와를 경외하라 저를 경외하는 자에게는 부족함이 없도다
34:9 Keep yourselves in the fear of the Lord, all you his saints; for those who do so
will have no need of anything.

34:10 젊은 사자는 궁핍하여 주릴지라도 여호와를 찾는 자는 모든 좋은 것에 부족함이

34:10 The young lions are in need and have no food; but those who are looking to the Lord
will have every good thing.
34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
34:11 너희 소자들아 와서 내게 들으라 내가 여호와를 경외함을 너희에게 가르치리로다
34:11 Come, children, give attention to me; I will be your teacher in the fear of the
Lord.
34:11 Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
34:12 생명을 사모하고 장수하여 복 받기를 원하는 사람이 누구뇨
34:12 What man has a love of life, and a desire that his days may be increased so that
he may see good?
34:12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
34:13 네 혀를 악에서 금하며 네 입술을 궤사한 말에서 금할지어다
34:13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from words of deceit.

34:14 악을 버리고 선을 행하며 화평을 찾아 따를지어다
34:14 Be turned from evil, and do good; make a search for peace, desiring it with all
your heart.

34:15 여호와의 눈은 의인을 향하시고 그 귀는 저희 부르짖음에 기울이시는도다
34:15 The eyes of the Lord are on the upright, and his ears are open to their cry.
34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
34:16 여호와의 얼굴은 행악하는 자를 대하사 저희의 자취를 땅에서 끊으려 하시는도다
34:16 The face of the Lord is against those who do evil, to take away the memory of them
from the earth.
34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
34:17 의인이 외치매 여호와께서 들으시고 저희의 모든 환난에서 건지셨도다
34:17 The cry of the upright comes before the Lord, and he takes them out of all their
troubles.
34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
34:18 여호와는 마음이 상한 자에게 가까이 하시고 중심에 통회하는 자를 구원하시는도다
34:18 The Lord is near the broken-hearted; he is the saviour of those whose spirits are
crushed down.
34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
34:19 의인은 고난이 많으나 여호와께서 그 모든 고난에서 건지시는도다
34:19 Great are the troubles of the upright: but the Lord takes him safely out of them
all.
34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
34:20 그 모든 뼈를 보호하심이여 그 중에 하나도 꺽이지 아니하도다
34:20 He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

34:21 Evil will put an end to the sinner, and those who are haters of righteousness will
come to destruction.

34:22 여호와께서 그 종들의 영혼을 구속하시나니 저에게 피하는 자는 다 죄를
받지 아니하리로다
34:22 The Lord will be the saviour of the souls of his servants, and no one who has faith
in him will be put to shame.
34:22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
35:1 여호와여 나와 다투는 자와 다투시고 나와 싸우는 자와 싸우소서
35:1 O Lord, be on my side against those who are judging me;
be at war with those who make war against me.
35:1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
35:2 방패와 손 방패를 잡으시고 일어나 나를 도우소서
35:2 Be a breastplate to me, and give me your help.
35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
35:3 창을 빼사 나를 쫓는 자의 길을 막으시고 또 내 영혼에게 나는 네 구원이라
이르소서
35:3 Take up your spear and keep back my attackers; say to my soul, I am your salvation.
35:3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am your salvation.
35:4 내 생명을 찾는 자로 부끄러워 수치를 당케 하시며 나를 상해하려 하는 자로
물러가 낭패케 하소서
35:4 Let them be overcome and put to shame who make attempts to take my soul; let those
who would do me damage be turned back and made foolish.
35:4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
35:5 저희로 바람 앞에 겨와 같게 하시고 여호와의 사자로 몰아내소서
35:5 Let them be like dust from the grain before the wind; let the angel of the Lord
send them in flight.
35:5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
35:6 저희 길을 어둡고 미끄럽게 하시고 여호와의 사자로 저희를 따르게 하소서
35:6 Let their way be dark and full of danger; let them be troubled by the angel of the
Lord.
35:6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
35:7 저희가 무고히 나를 잡으려고 그 그물을 웅덩이에 숨기며 무고히 내 생명을
해하려고 함정을 팠사오니
35:7 For without cause they have put a net ready for me secretly, in which to take my
soul.
35:7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.
35:8 멸망으로 졸지에 저에게 임하게 하시며 그 숨긴 그물에 스스로 잡히게 하시며
멸망 중에 떨어지게 하소서
35:8 Let destruction come on them without their knowledge; let them be taken themselves
in their secret nets, falling into the same destruction.
35:8 Let destruction come upon him at unexpectedly; and let his net that he has hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
35:9 내 영혼이 여호와를 즐거워함이여 그 구원을 기뻐하리로다
35:9 And my soul will have joy in the Lord; it will be glad in his salvation.
35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
35:10 내 모든 뼈가 이르기를 여호와와 같은 자 누구리요 그는 가난한 자를 그보다
강한 자에게서 건지시고 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 노략하는 자에게서 건지시는 이라
하리로다
35:10 All my bones will say, Lord, who is like you? The saviour of the poor man from the
hands of the strong, of him who is poor and in need from him who takes his goods.
35:10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto you, which deliver the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him?
35:11 불의한 증인이 일어나서 내가 알지 못하는 일로 내게 힐문하며
35:11 False witnesses got up: they put questions to me about crimes of which I had no
knowledge.
35:11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
35:12 내게 선을 악으로 갚아 나의 영혼을 외롭게 하나
35:12 They gave me back evil for good, troubling my soul.
35:12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
35:13 나는 저희가 병 들었을 때에 굵은 베옷을 입으며 금식하여 내 영혼을 괴롭게
하였더니 내 기도가 내 품으로 돌아왔도다
35:13 But as for me, when they were ill I put on the clothing of sorrow: I went without
food and was sad, and my prayer came back again to my heart.
35:13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
35:14 내가 나의 친구와 형제에게 행함 같이 저희에게 행하였으며 내가 굽히고
슬퍼하기를 모친을 곡함 같이 하였도다
35:14 My behaviour was as if it had been my friend or my brother: I was bent low in grief
like one whose mother is dead.
35:14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother.
35:15 오직 내가 환난을 당하매 저희가 기뻐하여 서로 모임이여 비류가 나의 알지
못하는 중에 모여 나를 치며 찢기를 마지 아니하도다
35:15 But they took pleasure in my trouble, and came together, yes, low persons came together
against me without my knowledge; they never came to an end of wounding me.
35:15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the outcasts gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
35:16 저희는 연회에서 망령되이 조롱하는 자 같이 나를 향하여 그 이를 갈도다
35:16 Like men of deceit they put me to shame; the voice of their wrath was loud against
me.
35:16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
35:17 주여 어느 때까지 관망하시리이까 내 영혼을 저 멸망자에게서 구원하시며
내 유일한 것을 사자들에게서 건지소서
35:17 Lord, how long will you be looking on? take my soul from their destruction, my life
from the lions.
35:17 Lord, how long will you look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
35:18 내가 대회 중에서 주께 감사하며 많은 백성 중에서 주를 찬송하리이다
35:18 I will give you praise in the great meeting; I will give you honour among a strong
people.
35:18 I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people.
35:19 무리하게 나의 원수된 자로 나를 인하여 기뻐하지 못하게 하시며 무고히
나를 미워하는 자로 눈짓하지 못하게 하소서
35:19 Do not let my haters be glad over me falsely; let not those who are against me without
cause make sport of me.
35:19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
35:20 대저 저희는 화평을 말하지 아니하고 평안히 땅에 거하는 자를 거짓말로
모해하며
35:20 For they do not say words of peace; in their deceit they are designing evil things
against the quiet ones in the land.
35:20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
35:21 또 저희가 나를 향하여 입을 크게 벌리고 하하 우리가 목도하였다 하나이다
35:21 Their mouths were open wide against me, and they said, Aha, aha, our eyes have seen
it.
35:21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.
35:22 여호와여 주께서 이를 보셨사오니 잠잠하지 마옵소서 주여 나를 멀리하지
마옵소서
35:22 You have seen this, O Lord; be not unmoved: O Lord, be not far from me.
35:22 This you have seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
35:23 나의 하나님, 나의 주여 떨치고 깨셔서 나를 공판하시며 나의 송사를 다스리소서
35:23 Be awake, O Lord, be moved to take up my cause, my God and my Lord.
35:23 Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
35:24 여호와 나의 하나님이여 주의 공의대로 나를 판단하사 저희로 나를 인하여
기뻐하지 못하게 하소서
35:24 Be my judge, O Lord my God, in your righteousness; do not let them be glad over
me.
35:24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
35:25 저희로 그 마음에 이르기를 아하 소원 성취하였다 하지 못하게 하시며 우리가
저를 삼켰다 하지 못하게 하소서
35:25 Let them not say in their hearts, So we will have it: let them not say, We have
put an end to him.
35:25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
35:26 나의 해를 기뻐하는 자들로 부끄러워 낭패하게 하시며 나를 향하여 자긍하는
자로 수치와 욕을 당케 하소서
35:26 Let all those who take pleasure in my troubles be shamed and come to nothing: let
those who are lifted up against me be covered with shame and have no honour.
35:26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
35:27 나의 의를 즐거워하는 자로 기꺼이 부르고 즐겁게 하시며 그 종의 형통을
기뻐하시는 여호와는 광대하시다 하는 말을 저희로 항상 하게 하소서
35:27 Let those who are on my side give cries of joy; let them ever say, The Lord be praised,
for he has pleasure in the peace of his servant.
35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
35:28 나의 혀가 주의 의를 말하며 종일토록 주를 찬송하리이다
35:28 And my tongue will be talking of your righteousness and of your praise all the day.
35:28 And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.

36:1 악인의 죄얼이 내 마음에 이르기를 그 목전에는 하나님을 두려워함이 없다
하니
36:1
The sin of the evil-doer says in his heart, There is no fear of the Lord before
his eyes.
36:1 The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
36:2 저가 스스로 자긍하기를 자기 죄악이 드러나지 아니하고 미워함을 받지도
아니하리라 함이로다
36:2 For he takes comfort in the thought that his sin will not be uncovered and hated.
36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
36:3 그 입의 말은 죄악과 궤휼이라 지혜와 선행을 그쳤도다
36:3 In the words of his mouth are evil and deceit; he has given up being wise and doing
good.
36:3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has left off to be wise, and to do good.
36:4 저는 그 침상에서 죄악을 꾀하며 스스로 불선한 길에 서고 악을 싫어하지
아니하는도다
36:4 He gives thought to evil on his bed; he takes a way which is not good; he is not
a hater of evil.
36:4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he detests not evil.
36:5 ○ 여호와여 주의 인자하심이 하늘에 있고 주의 성실하심이 공중에 사무쳤으며
36:5 Your mercy, O Lord, is in the heavens, and your strong purpose is as high as the
clouds.
36:5 Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reachs unto the clouds.
36:6 주의 의는 하나님의 산들과 같고 주의 판단은 큰 바다와 일반이라 여호와여
주는 사람과 짐승을 보호하시나이다
36:6 Your righteousness is like the mountains of God; your judging is like the great
deep; O Lord, you give life to man and beast.
36:6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; your judgments are a great deep: O LORD, you preserve man and beast.
36:7 하나님이여 주의 인자하심이 어찌 그리 보배로우신지요 인생이 주의 날개
그늘 아래 피하나이다
36:7 How good is your loving mercy, O God! the children of men take cover under the shade
of your wings.
36:7 How excellent is your loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.
36:8 저희가 주의 집의 살찐 것으로 풍족할 것이라 주께서 주의 복락의 강수로
마시우시리이다
36:8 The delights of your house will be showered on them; you will give them drink from
the river of your pleasures.
36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
36:9 대저 생명의 원천이 주께 있사오니 주의 광명 중에 우리가 광명을 보리이다
36:9 For with you is the fountain of life: in your light we will see light.
36:9 For with you is the fountain of life: in your light shall we see light.
36:10 주를 아는 자에게 주의 인자하심을 계속하시며 마음이 정직한 자에게 주의
의를 베푸소서
36:10 O let there be no end to your loving mercy to those who have knowledge of you, or
of your righteousness to the upright in heart.
36:10 O continue your loving kindness unto them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.
36:11 교만한 자의 발이 내게 미치지 못하게 하시며 악인의 손이 나를 쫓아내지
못하게 하소서
36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, or the hand of the evil-doers put me
out of my place.
36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
36:12 죄악을 행하는 자가 거기 넘어졌으니 엎드러지고 다시 일어날 수 없으리이다
36:12 There the workers of evil have come down: they have been made low, and will not
be lifted up.
36:12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
37:1 행악자를 인하여 불평하여 하지 말며 불의를 행하는 자를 투기하지 말지어다
37:1 Do not be angry because of the wrongdoers, or have envy
of the workers of evil.
37:1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:2 저희는 풀과 같이 속히 베임을 볼 것이며 푸른 채소 같이 쇠잔할 것임이로다
37:2 For they will quickly be cut down like grass, and become dry like the green plants.
37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:3 여호와를 의뢰하여 선을 행하라 땅에 거하여 그의 성실로 식물을 삼을지어다
37:3 Have faith in the Lord, and do good; be at rest in the land, and go after righteousness.
37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.
37:4 또 여호와를 기뻐하라 저가 네 마음의 소원을 이루어 주시리로다
37:4 So will your delight be in the Lord, and he will give you your heart's desires.
37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of yours heart.
37:5 너의 길을 여호와께 맡기라 저를 의지하면 저가 이루시고
37:5 Put your life in the hands of the Lord; have faith in him and he will do it.
37:5 Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
37:6 네 의를 빛 같이 나타내시며 네 공의를 정오의 빛 같이 하시리로다
37:6 And he will make your righteousness be seen like the light, and your cause like
the shining of the sun.
37:6 And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.
37:7 여호와 앞에 잠잠하고 참아 기다리라 자기 길이 형통하며 악한 꾀를 이루는
자를 인하여 불평하여 말지어다
37:7 Take your rest in the Lord, waiting quietly for him; do not be angry because of
the man who does well in his evil ways, and gives effect to his bad designs.
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
37:8 분을 그치고 노를 버리라 불평하여 말라 행악에 치우칠 뿐이라
37:8 Put an end to your wrath and be no longer bitter; do not give way to angry feeling
which is a cause of sin.
37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.
37:9 대저 행악하는 자는 끊어질 것이나 여호와를 기대하는 자는 땅을 차지하리로다
37:9 For the evil-doers will be cut off: but those who have faith in the Lord will have
the earth for their heritage.
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:10 잠시 후에 악인이 없어지리니 네가 그 곳을 자세히 살필지라도 없으리로다
37:10 For in a short time the evil-doer will be gone: you will go searching for his place,
and it will not be there.
37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
37:11 오직 온유한 자는 땅을 차지하며 풍부한 화평으로 즐기리로다
37:11 But the gentle will have the earth for their heritage; they will take their delight
in peace without measure.
37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:12 악인이 의인 치기를 꾀하고 향하여 그 이를 가는도다
37:12 The sinner has evil designs against the upright, lifting up the voice of wrath against
him.
37:12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
37:13 주께서 저를 웃으시리니 그 날의 이름을 보심이로다
37:13 He will be laughed at by the Lord, who sees that his day is coming.
37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.
37:14 악인이 칼을 빼고 활을 당기어 가난하고 궁핍한 자를 엎드러뜨리며 행위가
정직한 자를 죽이고자 하나
37:14 The evil-doers have taken out their swords, their bows are bent; for crushing the
poor, and to put to death those who are upright in their ways.
37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
37:15 그 칼은 자기의 마음을 찌르고 그 활은 부러지리로다
37:15 But their swords will be turned into their hearts, and their bows will be broken.
37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
37:16 의인의 적은 소유가 많은 악인의 풍부함보다 승하도다
37:16 The little which the good man has is better than the wealth of evil-doers.
37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:17 악인의 팔은 부러지나 의인은 여호와께서 붙드시는도다
37:17 For the arms of the evil-doers will be broken: but the Lord is the support of the
good.
37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous.
37:18 여호와께서 완전한 자의 날을 아시니 저희 기업은 영원하리로다
37:18 The days of the upright are numbered by the Lord, and their heritage will be for
ever.
37:18 The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:19 저희는 환난 때에 부끄럽지 아니하며 기근의 날에도 풍족하려니와
37:19 They will not be shamed in the evil time, and in the days when all are in need of
food they will have enough.
37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
37:20 악인은 멸망하고 여호와의 원수는 어린 양의 기름 같이 타서 연기되어
없어지리로다
37:20 But the wrongdoers will come to destruction, and the haters of the Lord will be
like the fat of lambs, they will be burned up; they will go up in smoke, and never
again be seen.
37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
37:21 악인은 꾸고 갚지 아니하나 의인은 은혜를 베풀고 주는도다
37:21 The sinner takes money and does not give it back; but the upright man has mercy,
and gives to others.
37:21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.
37:22 주의 복을 받은 자는 땅을 차지하고 주의 저주를 받은 자는 끊어지리로다
37:22 Those who have his blessing will have the earth for their heritage; but those who
are cursed by him will be cut off.
37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
37:23 여호와께서 사람의 걸음을 정하시고 그 길을 기뻐하시나니
37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the Lord, and he takes delight in his way.
37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
37:24 저는 넘어지나 아주 엎드러지지 아니함은 여호와께서 손으로 붙드심이로다
37:24 Even if he has a fall he will not be without help: for the hand of the Lord is supporting
him.
37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
37:25 내가 어려서부터 늙기까지 의인이 버림을 당하거나 그 자손이 걸식함을
보지 못하였도다
37:25 I have been young, and now am old, but I have not seen the good man without help,
or his children looking for bread.
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
37:26 저는 종일토록 은혜를 베풀고 꾸어 주니 그 자손이 복을 받는도다
37:26 All the day he is ready to have mercy and to give; his children are a blessing.
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.
37:27 악에서 떠나 선을 행하라 그리하면 영영히 거하리니
37:27 Be turned from evil, and do good; and your place will be for ever.
37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:28 여호와께서 공의를 사랑하시고 그 성도를 버리지 아니하심이로다 저희는
영영히 보호를 받으나 악인의 자손은 끊어지리로다
37:28 For the Lord is a lover of righteousness, and takes care of his saints; they will
be kept safe for ever; but the seed of the evil-doers will be cut off.
37:28 For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:29 의인이 땅을 차지함이여 거기 영영히 거하리로다
37:29 The upright will have the earth for their heritage, and will go on living there
for ever.
37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:30 의인의 입은 지혜를 말하고 그 혀는 공의를 이르며
37:30 The mouth of the good man says words of wisdom; the talk of his tongue is of righteousness.
37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.
37:31 그 마음에는 하나님의 법이 있으니 그 걸음에 실족함이 없으리로다
37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; he will never make a false step.
37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
37:32 악인이 의인을 엿보아 살해할 기회를 찾으나
37:32 The sinners are watching the upright man, desiring to put him to death.
37:32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.
37:33 여호와는 저를 그 손에 버려두지 아니하시고 재판 때에도 정죄치 아니하시리로다
37:33 The Lord will not give him into their hands, or be against him when he is judged.
37:33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
37:34 여호와를 바라고 그 도를 지키라 그리하면 너를 들어 땅을 차지하게 하실
것이라 악인이 끊어질 때에 네가 목도하리로다
37:34 Be waiting for the Lord, and keep his way; and you will be lifted up, and have the
land for your heritage: when the evil-doers are cut off, you will see it.
37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
37:35 내가 악인의 큰 세력을 본즉 그 본토에 선 푸른 나무의 무성함 같으나
37:35 I have seen the evil-doer in great power, covering the earth like a great tree.
37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
37:36 사람이 지날 때에 저가 없어졌으니 내가 찾아도 발견치 못하였도다
37:36 But he came to an end, and there was no sign of him; I made a search for him and
he was not there.
37:36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37:37 완전한 사람을 살피고 정직한 자를 볼지어다 화평한 자의 결국은 평안이로다
37:37 Give attention to the good man, and take note of the upright; because the end of
that man is peace.
37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:38 범죄자들은 함께 멸망하리니 악인의 결국은 끊어질 것이나
37:38 But as for the sinners, they will be cut off together; the end of the wrongdoers
is destruction.
37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:39 의인의 구원은 여호와께 있으니 그는 환난 때에 저희 산성이시로다
37:39 But the Lord is the saviour of the upright: he is their strength in the time of
trouble.
37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 여호와께서 저희를 도와 건지시되 악인에게서 건져 구원하심은 그를 의지한
연고로다
37:40 And the Lord will be their help, and keep them safe: he will take them out of the
hands of the evil-doers, and be their saviour, because they had faith in him.
37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
38:1 여호와여 주의 노로 나를 책하지 마시고 분노로 나를 징계치 마소서
38:1 O Lord, be not bitter with
me in your wrath; let not your hand be on me in the heat of your passion.
38:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in your wrath: neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
38:2 주의 살이 나를 찌르고 주의 손이 나를 심히 누르시나이다
38:2 For your arrows have gone into my flesh, and I am crushed under the weight of your
hand.
38:2 For yours arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me sore.
38:3 주의 진노로 인하여 내 살에 성한 곳이 없사오며 나의 죄로 인하여 내 뼈에
평안함이 없나이다
38:3 My flesh is wasted because of your wrath; and there is no peace in my bones because
of my sin.
38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of yours anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
38:4 내 죄악이 내 머리에 넘쳐서 무거운 짐 같으니 감당할 수 없나이다
38:4 For my crimes have gone over my head; they are like a great weight which is more
than my strength.
38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
38:5 내 상처가 썩어 악취가 나오니 나의 우매한 연고로소이다
38:5 My wounds are poisoned and evil-smelling, because of my foolish behaviour.
38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
38:6 내가 아프고 심히 구부러졌으며 종일토록 슬픈 중에 다니나이다
38:6 I am troubled, I am made low; I go weeping all the day.
38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
38:7 내 허리에 열기가 가득하고 내 살에 성한 곳이 없나이다
38:7 For my body is full of burning; all my flesh is unhealthy.
38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
38:8 내가 피곤하고 심히 상하였으매 마음이 불안하여 신음하나이다
38:8 I am feeble and crushed down; I gave a cry like a lion because of the grief in my
heart.
38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the chaos of my heart.
38:9 주여 나의 모든 소원이 주의 앞에 있사오며 나의 탄식이 주의 앞에 감추이지
아니하나이다
38:9 Lord, all my desire is before you; my sorrow is not kept secret from you.

38:10 내 심장이 뛰고 내 기력이 쇠하여 내 눈의 빛도 나를 떠났나이다
38:10 My heart goes out in pain, my strength is wasting away; as for the light of my eyes,
it is gone from me.
38:10 My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
38:11 나의 사랑하는 자와 나의 친구들이 나의 상처를 멀리하고 나의 친척들도
멀리 섰나이다
38:11 My lovers and my friends keep away from my disease; my relations keep far away.
38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand far off.
38:12 내 생명을 찾는 자가 올무를 놓고 나를 해하려는 자가 괴악한 일을 말하여
종일토록 궤계를 도모하오나
38:12 Those who have a desire to take my life put nets for me; those who are designing
my destruction say evil things against me, all the day their minds are full of deceit.
38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
38:13 나는 귀먹은 자 같이 듣지 아니하고 벙어리 같이 입을 열지 아니하오니
38:13 But I kept my ears shut like a man without hearing; like a man without a voice,
never opening his mouth.
38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.
38:14 나는 듣지 못하는 자 같아서 입에는 변박함이 없나이다
38:14 So I was like a man whose ears are shut, and in whose mouth there are no sharp words.
38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
38:15 여호와여 내가 주를 바랐사오니 내 주 하나님이 내게 응락하시리이다
38:15 In you, O Lord, is my hope: you will give me an answer, O Lord, my God.
38:15 For in you, O LORD, do I hope: you will hear, O Lord my God.
38:16 내가 말하기를 두렵건대 저희가 내게 대하여 기뻐하며 내가 실족할 때에
나를 향하여 망자존대할까 하였나이다
38:16 I said, Let them not be glad over me; when my foot is moved, let them not be lifted
up with pride against me.
38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.
38:17 내가 넘어지게 되었고 나의 근심이 항상 내 앞에 있사오니
38:17 My feet are near to falling, and my sorrow is ever before me.
38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
38:18 내 죄악을 고하고 내 죄를 슬퍼함이니이다
38:18 I will make clear my wrongdoing, with sorrow in my heart for my sin.

38:19 내 원수가 활발하며 강하고 무리하게 나를 미워하는 자가 무수하오며
38:19 But they are strong who have hate for me without cause: those who are against me
falsely are increased in numbers.
38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
38:20 또 악으로 선을 갚는 자들이 내가 선을 좇는 연고로 나를 대적하나이다
38:20 They give me back evil for good; they are my haters because I go after the thing
which is right.
38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
38:21 여호와여 나를 버리지 마소서 나의 하나님이여 나를 멀리하지 마소서
38:21 Do not give me up, O Lord; O my God, be near to me.
38:21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.

38:22 Come quickly to give me help, O Lord, my salvation.

39:1 내가 말하기를 나의 행위를 조심하여 내 혀로 범죄치 아니하리니 악인이
내 앞에 있을 때에 내가 내 입에 자갈을 먹이리라 하였도다
39:1 I said,
I will give attention to my ways, so that my tongue may do no wrong; I will keep
my mouth under control, while the sinner is before me.
39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
39:2 내가 잠잠하여 선한 말도 발하지 아니하니 나의 근심이 더 심하도다
39:2 I made no sound, I said no word, even of good; and I was moved with sorrow.
39:2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.
39:3 내 마음이 내 속에서 뜨거워서 묵상할 때에 화가 발하니 나의 혀로 말하기를
39:3 My heart was burning in my breast; while I was deep in thought the fire was lighted;
then I said with my tongue,
39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue,
39:4 여호와여 나의 종말과 연한의 어떠함을 알게 하사 나로 나의 연약함을 알게
하소서
39:4 Lord, give me knowledge of my end, and of the measure of my days, so that I may
see how feeble I am.
39:4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.
39:5 주께서 나의 날을 손 넓이만큼 되게 하시매 나의 일생이 주의
앞에는 없는 것 같사오니 사람마다 그 든든히 선 때도 진실로 허사뿐이니이다
39:5 You have made my days no longer than a hand's measure; and my years are nothing
in your eyes; truly, every man is but a breath. (Selah.)
39:5 Behold, you have made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
39:6 진실로 각 사람은 그림자 같이 다니고 헛된 일에 분요하며 재물을 쌓으나
누가 취할는지 알지 못하나이다
39:6 Truly, every man goes on his way like an image; he is troubled for no purpose: he
makes a great store of wealth, and has no knowledge of who will get it.
39:6 Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them.
39:7 주여 내가 무엇을 바라리요 나의 소망은 주께 있나이다
39:7 And now, Lord, what am I waiting for? my hope is in you.
39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.
39:8 나를 모든 죄과에서 건지시며 우매한 자에게 욕을 보지 않게 하소서
39:8 Make me free from all my sins; do not let me be shamed by the man of evil behaviour.
39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
39:9 내가 잠잠하고 입을 열지 아니하옴은 주께서 이를 행하신 연고니이다
39:9 I was quiet, and kept my mouth shut; because you had done it.
39:9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.
39:10 주의 징책을 나에게서 옮기소서 주의 손이 치심으로 내가 쇠망하였나이다
39:10 No longer let your hand be hard on me; I am wasted by the blows of your hand.
39:10 Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of yours hand.
39:11 주께서 죄악을 견책하사 사람을 징계하실 때에 그 영화를 좀 먹음 같이 소멸하게
하시니 참으로 각 사람은 허사 뿐이니이다
39:11 By the weight of your wrath against man's sin, the glory of his form is wasted away;
truly every man is but a breath. (Selah.)
39:11 When you with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, you make his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.
39:12 여호와여 나의 기도를 들으시며 나의 부르짖음에 귀를 기울이소서 내가
눈물 흘릴 때에 잠잠하지 마옵소서 대저 나는 주께 객이 되고 거류자가 됨이 나의
모든 열조 같으니이다
39:12 Let my prayer come to your ears, O Lord, and give attention to my cry, make an answer
to my weeping: for my time here is short before you, and in a little time I will
be gone, like all my fathers.
39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with you, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
39:13 주는 나를 용서하사 내가 떠나 없어지기 전에 나의 건강을 회복시키소서
39:13 Let your wrath be turned away from me, so that I may be comforted, before I go away
from here, and become nothing.
39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go behind, and be no more.
40:1 내가 여호와를 기다리고 기다렸더니 귀를 기울이사 나의 부르짖음을 들으셨도다
40:1 When I was waiting
quietly for the Lord, his heart was turned to me, and he gave ear to my cry.
40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
40:2 나를 기가 막힐 웅덩이와 수렁에서 끌어올리시고 내 발을 반석 위에 두사
내 걸음을 견고케 하셨도다
40:2 He took me up out of a deep waste place, out of the soft and sticky earth; he put
my feet on a rock, and made my steps certain.
40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my activities.
40:3 새 노래 곧 우리 하나님께 올릴 찬송을 내 입에 두셨으니 많은 사람이 보고
두려워하여 여호와를 의지하리로다
40:3 And he put a new song in my mouth, even praise to our God; numbers have seen it
with fear, and put their faith in the Lord.
40:3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
40:4 여호와를 의지하고 교만한 자와 거짓에 치우치는 자를 돌아보지 아니하는
자는 복이 있도다
40:4 Happy is the man who has faith in the Lord, and does not give honour to the men
of pride or to those who are turned away to deceit.
40:4 Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
40:5 여호와 나의 하나님이여 주의 행하신 기적이 많고 우리를 향하신 주의 생각도
많도소이다 내가 들어 말하고자 하나 주의 앞에 베풀 수도 없고 그 수를 셀 수도
없나이다
40:5 O Lord my God, great are the wonders which you have done in your thought for us;
it is not possible to put them out in order before you; when I would give an account
of them, their number is greater than I may say.
40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
40:6 주께서 나의 귀를 통하여 들리시기를 제사와 예물을 기뻐 아니하시며 번제와
속죄제를 요구치 아니하신다 하신지라
40:6 You had no desire for offerings of beasts or fruits of the earth; ears you made
for me: for burned offerings and sin offerings you made no request.
40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required.
40:7 그 때에 내가 말하기를 내가 왔나이다 나를 가리켜 기록한 것이 두루마리
책에 있나이다
40:7 Then I said, See, I come; it is recorded of me in the roll of the book,
40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
40:8 나의 하나님이여 내가 주의 뜻 행하기를 즐기오니 주의 법이 나의 심중에
있나이다 하였나이다
40:8 My delight is to do your pleasure, O my God; truly, your law is in my heart.
40:8 I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.
40:9 내가 대회 중에서 의의 기쁜 소식을 전하였나이다 여호와여 내가 내 입술을
닫지 아니할 줄을 주께서 아시나이다
40:9 I have given news of righteousness in the great meeting; O Lord, you have knowledge
that I have not kept back my words.
40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, you know.
40:10 내가 주의 의를 내 심중에 숨기지 아니하고 주의 성실과 구원을 선포하였으며
내가 주의 인자와 진리를 대회 중에서 은휘치 아니하였나이다
40:10 Your righteousness has not been folded away in my heart; I have made clear your
true word and your salvation; I have not kept secret your mercy or your faith from
the great meeting.
40:10 I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great congregation.
40:11 여호와여 주의 긍휼을 내게 그치지 마시고 주의 인자와 진리로 나를 항상
보호하소서
40:11 Take not away your gentle mercies from me, O Lord; let your mercy and your faith
keep me safe for ever.
40:11 Withhold not you your tender mercies from me, O LORD: let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
40:12 무수한 재앙이 나를 둘러싸고 나의 죄악이 내게 미치므로 우러러 볼 수도
없으며 죄가 나의 머리털보다 많으므로 내 마음이 사라졌음이니이다
40:12 For unnumbered evils are round about me; my sins have overtaken me, so that I am
bent down with their weight; they are more than the hairs of my head, my strength
is gone because of them.
40:12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart fails me.
40:13 여호와여 은총을 베푸사 나를 구원하소서 여호와여 속히 나를 도우소서
40:13 Be pleased, O Lord, to take me out of danger; O Lord, come quickly and give me help.
40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
40:14 나의 영혼을 찾아 멸하려 하는 자로 다 수치와 낭패를 당케 하시며 나의
해를 기뻐하는 자로 다 물러가 욕을 당케 하소서
40:14 Let those who go after my soul for its destruction have shame and trouble together;
let them be turned back and made foolish who take pleasure in my trouble.
40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
40:15 나를 향하여 하하 하는 자로 자기 수치를 인하여 놀라게 하소서
40:15 Let those who say to me, Aha, aha! be surprised because of their shame.
40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
40:16 무릇 주를 찾는 자는 다 주로 즐거워하고 기뻐하게 하시며 주의 구원을
사랑하는 자는 항상 말하기를 여호와는 광대하시다 하게 하소서
40:16 Let all those who are looking for you be glad and have joy in you; let the lovers
of your salvation ever say, May the Lord be great.
40:16 Let all those that seek you rejoice and be glad in you: let such as love your salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
40:17 나는 가난하고 궁핍하오나 주께서는 나를 생각하시오니 주는 나의 도움이시요
건지시는 자시라 나의 하나님이여 지체하지 마소서
40:17 Though I am poor and in need, the Lord has me in mind; you are my help and my saviour;
let there be no waiting, O my God.
40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks upon me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.
41:1 빈약한 자를 권고하는 자가 복이 있음이여 재앙의 날에 여호와께서 저를
건지시리로다
41:1 Happy is the man who
gives thought to the poor; the Lord will be his saviour in the time of trouble.
41:1 Blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
41:2 여호와께서 저를 보호하사 살게 하시리니 저가 세상에서 복을 받을 것이라
주여 저를 그 원수의 뜻에 맡기지 마소서
41:2 The Lord will keep him safe, and give him life; the Lord will let him be a blessing
on the earth, and will not give him into the hand of his haters.
41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and you will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
41:3 여호와께서 쇠약한 병상에서 저를 붙드시고 저의 병중 그 자리를 다 고쳐
펴시나이다
41:3 The Lord will be his support on his bed of pain: by you will all his grief be turned
to strength.
41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: you will make all his bed in his sickness.
41:4 내가 말하기를 여호와여 나를 긍휼히 여기소서 내가 주께 범죄하였사오니
내 영혼을 고치소서 하였나이다
41:4 I said, Lord, have mercy on me; make my soul well, because my faith is in you.
41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against you.
41:5 나의 원수가 내게 대하여 악담하기를 저가 어느 때에나 죽고 그 이름이 언제나
멸망할꼬 하며
41:5 My haters say evil against me, When will he be dead, and his name come to an end?
41:5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
41:6 나를 보러 와서는 거짓을 말하고 그 중심에 간악을 쌓았다가 나가서는 이를
광포하오며
41:6 If one comes to see me, deceit is in his heart; he keeps a store of evil, which
he makes public in every place.
41:6 And if he comes to see me, he speaks vanity: his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it.
41:7 나를 미워하는 자가 다 내게 대하여 수군거리고 나를 해하려고 꾀하며
41:7 All my haters are talking secretly together against me; they are designing my downfall.
41:7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
41:8 이르기를 악한 병이 저에게 들었으니 이제 저가 눕고 다시 일지 못하리라
하오며
41:8 They say, He has an evil disease, which will not let him go: and now that he is
down he will not get up again.
41:8 An evil disease, say they, cleaves fast unto him: and now that he lies he shall rise up no more.
41:9 나의 신뢰하는 바 내 떡을 먹던 나의 가까운 친구도 나를 대적하여 그 발꿈치를
들었나이다
41:9 Even my dearest friend, in whom I had faith, who took bread with me, is turned against
me.
41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
41:10 그러하오나 주 여호와여 나를 긍휼히 여기시고 일으키사 나로 저희에게
보복하게 하소서
41:10 But you, O Lord, have mercy on me, lifting me up, so that I may give them their
punishment.
41:10 But you, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
41:11 나의 원수가 승리치 못하므로 주께서 나를 기뻐하시는 줄을 내가 아나이다
41:11 By this I see that you have pleasure in me, because my hater does not overcome me.
41:11 By this I know that you favour me, because mine enemy does not triumph over me.
41:12 주께서 나를 나의 완전한 중에 붙드시고 영영히 주의 앞에 세우시나이다
41:12 And as for me, you are my support in my righteousness, giving me a place before
your face for ever.
41:12 And as for me, you uphold me in mine integrity, and set me before your face for ever.

41:13 May the Lord God of Israel be praised, through eternal days and for ever. So be

42:1 하나님이여 사슴이 시냇물을 찾기에 갈급함 같이 내 영혼이 주를 찾기에

desire of the roe for the water-streams, so is my soul's desire for you, O God.
42:1 As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God.
42:2 내 영혼이 하나님 곧 생존하시는 하나님을 갈망하나니 내가 어느 때에 나아가서
하나님 앞에 뵈올꼬
42:2 My soul is dry for need of God, the living God; when may I come and see the face
of God?
42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
42:3 사람들이 종일 나더러 하는 말이 네 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 하니 내 눈물이

your God?

I went in company to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with the

42:5 내 영혼아 네가 어찌하여 낙망하며 어찌하여 내 속에서 불안하여 하는고

42:9 내 반석이신 하나님께 말하기를 어찌하여 나를 잊으셨나이까 내가 어찌하여

42:9 I will say to God my Rock, Why have you let me go from your memory? why do I go
in sorrow because of the attacks of my haters?
42:9 I will say unto God my rock, Why have you forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
42:10 내 뼈를 찌르는 칼 같이 내 대적이 나를 비방하여 늘 말하기를 네 하나님이

42:10 The cruel words of my haters are like a crushing of my bones; when they say to me
every day, Where is your God?
42:10 As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is your God?
42:11 내 영혼아 네가 어찌하여 낙망하며 어찌하여 내 속에서 불안하여 하는고

43:1 Be my judge, O God, supporting my cause against a nation without religion; O keep
me from the false and evil man.

43:4 Then I will go up to the altar of God, to the God of my joy; I will be glad and
give praise to you on an instrument of music, O God, my God.

43:5 내 영혼아 네가 어찌하여 낙망하며 어찌하여 내 속에서 불안하여 하는고

43:5 Why are you crushed down, O my soul? and why are you troubled in me? put your hope
in God, for I will again give him praise who is my help and my God.

to our ears, O God, our fathers have given us the story, of the works which you
did in their days, in the old times,
44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the times of old.
44:1 하나님이여 주께서 우리 열조의 날 곧 옛날에 행하신 일을 저희가 우리에게 이르매 우리 귀로 들었나이다
44:2 주께서 주의 손으로 열방을 쫓으시고 열조를 심으시며 주께서 민족들은 괴롭게
하시고 열조는 번성케 하셨나이다
44:2 Uprooting the nations with your hand, and planting our fathers in their place; cutting
down the nations, but increasing the growth of your people.
44:2 How you did drive out the heathen with your hand, and planted them; how you did afflict the people, and cast them out.
44:3 저희가 자기 칼로 땅을 얻어 차지함이 아니요 저희 팔이 저희를 구원함도
아니라 오직 주의 오른손과 팔과 얼굴의 빛으로 하셨으니 주께서 저희를 기뻐하신
연고니이다
44:3 For they did not make the land theirs by their swords, and it was not their arms
which kept them safe; but your right hand, and your arm, and the light of your face,
because you had pleasure in them.
44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but your right hand, and yours arm, and the light of your countenance, because you had a favour unto them.
44:4 하나님이여 주는 나의 왕이시니 야곱에게 구원을 베푸소서
44:4 You are my King and my God; ordering salvation for Jacob.

44:5 우리가 주를 의지하여 우리 대적을 누르고 우리를 치려 일어나는 자를 주의
이름으로 밟으리이다
44:5 Through you will we overcome our haters; by your name will they be crushed under
our feet who are violent against us.
44:5 Through you will we push down our enemies: through your name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
44:6 나는 내 활을 의지하지 아니할 것이라 내 칼도 나를 구원치 못하리이다
44:6 I will not put faith in my bow, my sword will not be my salvation.
44:6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
44:7 오직 주께서 우리를 우리 대적에게서 구원하시고 우리를 미워하는 자로 수치를
당케 하셨나이다
44:7 But it is you who have been our saviour from those who were against us, and have
put to shame those who had hate for us.
44:7 But you have saved us from our enemies, and have put them to shame that hated us.
44:8 우리가 종일 하나님으로 자랑하였나이다 우리가 하나님의 이름을 영영히
감사하리이다
44:8 Our pride is in God at all times, to his name we give praise for ever. (Selah.)

44:9 ○ 그러나 이제는 주께서 우리를 버려 욕을 당케 하시고 우리 군대와 함께
나아가지 아니하시나이다
44:9 But now you have sent us away from you, and put us to shame; you do not go out with
our armies.

44:10 주께서 우리를 대적에게서 돌아서게 하시니 우리를 미워하는 자가 자기를
위하여 탈취하였나이다
44:10 Because of this we are turned back by the attacker: those who have hate for us take
our goods for themselves.
44:10 You make us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
44:11 주께서 우리로 먹힐 양 같게 하시고 열방 중에 흩으셨나이다
44:11 You have made us like sheep which are taken for meat; we are put to flight among
the nations.
44:11 You have given us like sheep appointed for food; and have scattered us among the heathen.
44:12 주께서 주의 백성을 무료로 파심이여 저희 값으로 이익을 얻지 못하셨나이다
44:12 You let your people go for nothing; your wealth is not increased by their price.
44:12 You sell your people for nothing, and do not increase your wealth by their price.
44:13 주께서 우리로 이웃에게 욕을 당케 하시니 둘러 있는 자가 조소하고 조롱하나이다
44:13 You have made us to be looked down on by our neighbours, we are laughed at and shamed
by those who are round about us.
44:13 You make us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
44:14 주께서 우리로 열방 중에 말거리가 되게 하시며 민족 중에서 머리 흔듦을
당케 하셨나이다
44:14 Our name is a word of shame among the nations, a sign for the shaking of heads among
the peoples.
44:14 You make us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
44:15 나의 능욕이 종일 내 앞에 있으며 수치가 내 얼굴을 덮었으니
44:15 My downfall is ever before me, and I am covered with the shame of my face;
44:15 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face has covered me,
44:16 나를 비방하고 후욕하는 소리를 인함이요 나의 원수와 보수자의 연고니이다
44:16 Because of the voice of him who says sharp and bitter words; because of the hater
and him who is the instrument of punishment.
44:16 For the voice of him that reproaches and blasphemes; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
44:17 이 모든 일이 우리에게 임하였으나 우리가 주를 잊지 아니하며 주의 언약을
어기지 아니하였나이다
44:17 All this has come on us, but still we have kept you in our memory; and we have not
been false to your word.
44:17 All this has come upon us; yet have we not forgotten you, neither have we dealt falsely in your covenant.
44:18 우리 마음이 퇴축지 아니하고 우리 걸음도 주의 길을 떠나지 아니하였으나
44:18 Our hearts have not gone back, and our steps have not been turned out of your way;
44:18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from your way;
44:19 주께서 우리를 시랑의 처소에서 심히 상해하시고 우리를 사망의 그늘로

44:19 Though you have let us be crushed in the place of jackals, though we are covered
with darkest shade.
44:19 Though you have sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
44:20 우리가 우리 하나님의 이름을 잊어버렸거나 우리 손을 이방신에게 향하여

44:21 Will not God make search for it? for he sees the secrets of the heart.
44:21 Shall not God search this out? for he knows the secrets of the heart.
44:22 우리가 종일 주를 위하여 죽임을 당케 되며 도살할 양 같이 여김을 받았나이다
44:22 Truly, because of you we are put to death every day; we are numbered like sheep
for destruction.
44:22 Yea, for your sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
44:23 주여 깨소서 어찌하여 주무시나이까 일어나시고 우리를 영영히 버리지 마소서
44:23 Why are you sleeping, O Lord? awake! and come to our help, do not give us up for
ever.
44:23 Awake, why sleep you, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
44:24 어찌하여 주의 얼굴을 가리우시고 우리 고난과 압제를 잊으시나이까
44:24 Why is your face covered, and why do you give no thought to our trouble and our
cruel fate?
44:24 Wherefore hide you your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
44:25 우리 영혼은 진토에 구푸리고 우리 몸은 땅에 붙었나이다
44:25 For our souls are crushed down to the dust: our bodies are stretched out on the
earth.
44:25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaves unto the earth.
44:26 일어나 우리를 도우소서 주의 인자하심을 인하여 우리를 구속하소서
44:26 Up! and come to our help, and give us salvation because of your mercy.

45:1 내 마음에서 좋은 말이 넘쳐 왕에 대하여 지은 것을 말하리니 내 혀는 필객의
붓과 같도다
45:1 My heart is flowing over with good things; my words are
of that which I have made for a king; my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
45:1 My heart is composing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made concerning the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
45:2 왕은 인생보다 아름다워 은혜를 입술에 머금으니 그러므로 하나님이 왕에게
영영히 복을 주시도다
45:2 You are fairer than the children of men; grace is flowing through your lips; for
this cause the blessing of God is with you for ever.

45:3 능한 자여 칼을 허리에 차고 왕의 영화와 위엄을 입으소서
45:3 Put on your sword, make it ready at your side, O strong chief, with your glory and

45:4 왕은 진리와 온유와 공의를 위하여 위엄 있게 타고 승전하소서 왕의 오른손이
왕에게 두려운 일을 가르치리이다
45:4 And go nobly on in your power, because you are good and true and without pride;
and your right hand will be teaching you things of fear.
45:4 And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you terrible things.
45:5 왕의 살이 날카로워 왕의 원수의 염통을 뚫으니 만민이 왕의 앞에 엎드러지는도다
45:5 Your arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's haters; because of them the peoples
are falling under you.
45:5 Yours arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under you.
45:6 하나님이여 주의 보좌가 영영하며 주의 나라의 홀은 공평한 홀이니이다
45:6 Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; the rod of your kingdom is a rod
of honour.
45:6 Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of your kingdom is a right sceptre.
45:7 왕이 정의를 사랑하고 악을 미워하시니 그러므로 하나님 곧 왕의 하나님이
즐거움의 기름으로 왕에게 부어 왕의 동류보다 승하게 하셨나이다
45:7 You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil: and so God, your God,
has put the oil of joy on your head, lifting you high over all other kings.
45:7 You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
45:8 왕의 모든 옷은 몰약과 침향과 육계의 향기가 있으며 상아궁에서 나오는
현악은 왕을 즐겁게 하도다
45:8 Your robes are full of the smell of all sorts of perfumes and spices; music from
the king's ivory houses has made you glad.
45:8 All your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made you glad.
45:9 왕의 귀비 중에는 열왕의 딸이 있으며 왕후는 오빌의 금으로 꾸미고 왕의
우편에 서도다
45:9 Kings' daughters are among your noble women: on your right is the queen in gold
of Ophir.
45:9 Kings' daughters were among your honourable women: upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
45:10 딸이여 듣고 생각하고 귀를 기울일지어다 네 백성과 아비 집을 잊어 버릴

45:10 O daughter, give thought and attention, and let your ear be open; no longer keep
in mind your people, and your father's house;
45:10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline yours ear; forget also yours own people, and your father's house;
45:11 그러하면 왕이 너의 아름다움을 사모하실지라 저는 너의 주시니 너는 저를 경배할지어다
45:11 So will the king have a great desire for you, seeing how beautiful you are; because
he is your lord, give him honour.
45:11 So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your Lord; and worship you him.
45:12 두로의 딸이 예물을 드리고 백성 중 부한 자도 네 은혜를 구하리로다
45:12 And the daughters of Tyre will be there with an offering; those who have wealth
among the people will be looking for your approval.
45:12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall implore your favour.
45:13 왕의 딸이 궁중에서 모든 영화를 누리니 그 옷은 금으로 수 놓았도다
45:13 In the great house the king's daughter is all shining: her clothing is worked with
gold.
45:13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
45:14 수 놓은 옷을 입은 저가 왕께로 인도함을 받으며 시종하는 동무 처녀들도
왕께로 이끌려 갈 것이라
45:14 She will come before the king in robes of needlework; the virgins in her train will
come before you.
45:14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you.
45:15 저희가 기쁨과 즐거움으로 인도함을 받고 왕궁에 들어가리로다
45:15 With joy and rapture will they come; they will go into the king's house.
45:15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
45:16 왕의 아들들이 왕의 열조를 계승할 것이라 왕이 저희로 온 세계의 군왕을
삼으리로다
45:16 Your children will take the place of your fathers; so that you may make them rulers
over all the earth.
45:16 Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth.

45:17 I will keep the memory of your name living through all generations; and because
of this the people will give you praise for ever.

47:2 지존하신 여호와는 엄위하시고 온 땅에 큰 임군이 되심이로다
47:2 For the Lord Most High is to be feared; he is a great King over all the earth.

47:3 여호와께서 만민을 우리에게, 열방을 우리 발 아래 복종케 하시며

48:3 하나님이 그 여러 궁중에서 자기를 피난처로 알리셨도다
48:3 In its buildings God is seen to be a high tower.

48:4 For see! the kings came together by agreement, they were joined together.

48:5 저희가 보고 놀라고 두려워 빨리 갔도다
48:5 They saw it, and so were full of wonder; they were troubled, and went quickly away

living in the world.

49:2 귀천 빈부를 물론하고 다 들을지어다
49:2 High and low together, the poor, and those who have wealth.
49:2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
49:3 내 입은 지혜를 말하겠고 내 마음은 명철을 묵상하리로다
49:3 From my mouth will come words of wisdom; and in the thoughts of my heart will be
knowledge.
49:3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.

49:4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
49:5 죄악이 나를 따라 에우는 환난의 날에 내가 어찌 두려워하랴
49:5 What cause have I for fear in the days of evil, when the evil-doing of those who
are working for my downfall is round about me?
49:5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
49:6 자기의 재물을 의지하고 풍부함으로 자긍하는 자는
49:6 Even of those whose faith is in their wealth, and whose hearts are lifted up because
of their stores.
49:6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
49:7 아무도 결코 그 형제를 구속하지 못하며 저를 위하여 하나님께 속전을 바치지도
못할 것은
49:7 Truly, no man may get back his soul for a price, or give to God the payment for
himself;
49:7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
49:8 저희 생명의 구속이 너무 귀하며 영영히 못할 것임이라
49:8 (Because it takes a great price to keep his soul from death, and man is not able
to give it.)
49:8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases for ever:)
49:9 저로 영존하여 썩음을 보지 않게 못하리니
49:9 So that he might have eternal life, and never see the underworld.
49:9 That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.
49:10 저가 보리로다 지혜있는 자도 죽고 우준하고 무지한 자도 같이 망하고 저희의
재물을 타인에게 끼치는도다
49:10 For he sees that wise men come to their end, and foolish persons of low behaviour
come to destruction together, letting their wealth go to others.
49:10 For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
49:11 저희의 속 생각에 그 집이 영영히 있고 그 거처가 대대에 미치리라 하여
그 전지를 자기 이름으로 칭하도다
49:11 The place of the dead is their house for ever, and their resting-place through all
generations; those who come after them give their names to their lands.
49:11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
49:12 사람은 존귀하나 장구치 못함이여 멸망하는 짐승 같도다
49:12 But man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the
beasts.
49:12 Nevertheless man being in honour abides not: he is like the beasts that perish.
49:13 ○ 저희의 이 행위는 저희의 우매함이나 후세 사람은 오히려 저희 말을
칭찬하리로다
49:13 This is the way of the foolish; their silver is for those who come after them, and
their children get the pleasure of their gold. (Selah.)
49:13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
49:14 양 같이 저희를 음부에 두기로 작정되었으니 사망이 저희 목자의 것이라
정직한 자가 아침에 저희를 다스리리니 저희 아름다움이 음부에서 소멸하여 그 거처조차
없어지려니와
49:14 Death will give them their food like sheep; the underworld is their fate and they
will go down into it; their flesh is food for worms; their form is wasted away;
the underworld is their resting-place for ever.
49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
49:15 하나님은 나를 영접하시리니 이러므로 내 영혼을 음부의 권세에서 구속하시리로다
49:15 But God will get back my soul; for he will take me from the power of death. (Selah.)
49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
49:16 사람이 치부하여 그 집 영광이 더할 때에 너는 두려워 말지어다
49:16 Have no fear when wealth comes to a man, and the glory of his house is increased;
49:16 Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
49:17 저가 죽으매 가져가는 것이 없고 그 영광이 저를 따라 내려가지 못함이로다
49:17 For at his death, he will take nothing away; his glory will not go down after him.
49:17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.
49:18 저가 비록 생시에 자기를 축하하며 스스로 좋게 함으로 사람들에게 칭찬을
받을지라도
49:18 Though he might have pride in his soul in his life-time, and men will give you praise
if you do well for yourself,
49:18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.
49:19 그 역대의 열조에게로 돌아가리니 영영히 빛을 보지 못하리로다
49:19 He will go to the generation of his fathers; he will not see the light again.
49:19 He shall go to the generation of his fathers; they shall never see light.
49:20 존귀에 처하나 깨닫지 못하는 사람은 멸망하는 짐승 같도다
49:20 Man, like the animals, does not go on for ever; he comes to an end like the beasts.
49:20 Man that is in honour, and understands not, is like the beasts that perish.
50:1 전능하신 자 하나님 여호와께서 말씀하사 해 돋는 데서부터 지는 데까지
세상을 부르셨도다
50:1 The God of gods, even the Lord, has sent out
his voice, and the earth is full of fear; from the coming up of the sun to its going
down.
50:1 The mighty God, even the LORD, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
50:2 온전히 아름다운 시온에서 하나님이 빛을 발하셨도다
50:2 From Zion, most beautiful of places, God has sent out his light.
50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.
50:3 우리 하나님이 임하사 잠잠치 아니하시니 그 앞에는 불이 삼키고 그 사방에는
광풍이 불리로다
50:3 Our God will come, and will not keep quiet; with fire burning before him, and storm-winds
round him.
50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
50:4 하나님이 그 백성을 판단하시려고 윗 하늘과 아래 땅에 반포하여
50:4 His voice will go out to the heavens and to the earth, for the judging of his people:
50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
50:5 이르시되 나의 성도를 네 앞에 모으라 곧 제사로 나와 언약한 자니라 하시도다
50:5 Let my saints come together to me; those who have made an agreement with me by offerings.
50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
50:6 하늘이 그 공의를 선포하리니 하나님 그는 심판장이심이로다
50:6 And let the heavens make clear his righteousness; for God himself is the judge.
(Selah.)
50:6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
50:7 내 백성아 들을지어다 내가 말하리라 이스라엘아 내가 네게 증거하리라 나는
하나님 곧 네 하나님이로다
50:7 Give ear, O my people, to my words; O Israel, I will be a witness against you; I
am God, even your God.
50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, even your God.
50:8 내가 너의 제물을 인하여는 너를 책망치 아니하리니 네 번제가 항상 내 앞에
있음이로다
50:8 I will not take up a cause against you because of your offerings, or because of
your burned offerings, which are ever before me.
50:8 I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
50:9 내가 네 집에서 수소나 네 우리에서 수염소를 취치 아니하리니
50:9 I will take no ox out of your house, or he-goats from your flocks;
50:9 I will take no bullock out of your house, nor he goats out of your folds.
50:10 이는 삼림의 짐승들과 천산의 생축이 다 내 것이며
50:10 For every beast of the woodland is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.
50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
50:11 산의 새들도 나의 아는 것이며 들의 짐승도 내 것임이로다
50:11 I see all the birds of the mountains, and the beasts of the field are mine.
50:11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
50:12 내가 가령 주려도 네게 이르지 않을 것은 세계와 거기 충만한 것이 내 것임이로다
50:12 If I had need of food, I would not give you word of it; for the earth is mine and
all its wealth.
50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.
50:13 내가 수소의 고기를 먹으며 염소의 피를 마시겠느냐
50:13 Am I to take the flesh of the ox for my food, or the blood of goats for my drink?
50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
50:14 감사로 하나님께 제사를 드리며 지극히 높으신 자에게 네 서원을 갚으며
50:14 Make an offering of praise to God; keep the agreements which you have made with
the Most High;
50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay your vows unto the most High:
50:15 환난 날에 나를 부르라 내가 너를 건지리니 네가 나를 영화롭게 하리로다
50:15 Let your voice come up to me in the day of trouble; I will be your saviour, so that
you may give glory to me.
50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
50:16 ○ 악인에게는 하나님이 이르시되 네가 어찌 내 율례를 전하며 내 언약을
네 입에 두느냐
50:16 But to the sinner, God says, What are you doing, talking of my laws, or taking the
words of my agreement in your mouth?
50:16 But unto the wicked God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth?
50:17 네가 교훈을 미워하고 내 말을 네 뒤로 던지며
50:17 Seeing that you have no desire for my teaching, turning your back on my words.
50:17 Seeing you hate instruction, and casts my words behind you.
50:18 도적을 본즉 연합하고 간음하는 자와 동류가 되며
50:18 When you saw a thief, you were in agreement with him, and you were joined with those
who took other men's wives.
50:18 When you saw a thief, then you consented with him, and have been partaker with adulterers.
50:19 네 입을 악에게 주고 네 혀로 궤사를 지으며
50:19 You have given your mouth to evil, your tongue to words of deceit.
50:19 You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.
50:20 앉아서 네 형제를 공박하며 네 어미의 아들을 비방하는도다
50:20 You say evil of your brother; you make false statements against your mother's son.
50:20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander yours own mother's son.
50:21 네가 이 일을 행하여도 내가 잠잠하였더니 네가 나를 너와 같은 줄로 생각하였도다
그러나 내가 너를 책망하여 네 죄를 네 목전에 차례로 베풀리라 하시는도다
50:21 These things have you done, and I said nothing; it seemed to you that I was such
a one as yourself; but I will make a protest against you, and put them in order
before your eyes.
50:21 These things have you done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such an one as yourself: but I will reprove you, and set them in order before yours eyes.
50:22 ○ 하나님을 잊어버린 너희여 이제 이를 생각하라 그렇지 않으면 내가 너희를
찢으리니 건질 자 없으리라
50:22 Now keep this in mind, you who have no memory of God, for fear that you may be crushed
under my hand, with no one to give you help:
50:22 Now consider this, all of you that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
50:23 감사로 제사를 드리는 자가 나를 영화롭게 하나니 그 행위를 옳게 하는
자에게 내가 하나님의 구원을 보이리라
50:23 Whoever makes an offering of praise gives glory to me; and to him who is upright
in his ways I will make clear the salvation of God.
50:23 Whoso offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.
