11:1 이새의 줄기에서 한 싹이 나며 그 뿌리에서 한 가지가 나서 결실할 것이요
11:1 And there will come a rod out of the broken tree of Jesse, and a branch out of his
roots will give fruit.
11:1 And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch
shall grow out of his roots:
11:2 여호와의 신 곧 지혜와 총명의 신이요 모략과 재능의 신이요 지식과 여호와를
경외하는 신이 그 위에 강림하시리니
11:2 And the spirit of the Lord will be resting on him, the spirit of wisdom and good
sense, the spirit of wise guiding and strength, the spirit of knowledge and of the
fear of the Lord;
11:2 And the spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom
and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge
and of the fear of the LORD;
11:3 그가 여호와를 경외함으로 즐거움을 삼을 것이며 그 눈에 보이는 대로 심판치
아니하며 귀에 들리는 대로 판단치 아니하며
11:3 And he will not be guided in his judging by what he sees, or give decisions by the
hearing of his ears:
11:3 And shall make him of quick understanding in the fear of the LORD: and
he shall not judge after the sight of his eyes, neither reprove after the hearing
of his ears:
11:4 공의로 빈핍한 자를 심판하며 정직으로 세상의 겸손한 자를 판단할 것이며
그 입의 막대기로 세상을 치며 입술의 기운으로 악인을 죽일 것이며
11:4 But he will do right in the cause of the poor, and give wise decisions for those
in the land who are in need; and the rod of his mouth will come down on the cruel,
and with the breath of his lips he will put an end to the evil-doer.
11:4 But with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity
for the meek of the earth: and he shall strike the earth: with the rod of his
mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.
11:5 공의로 그 허리띠를 삼으며 성실로 몸의 띠를 삼으리라
11:5 And righteousness will be the cord of his robe, and good faith the band round his
breast.
11:5 And righteousness shall be the girdle of his loins, and faithfulness
the girdle of his reins.
11:6 ○ 그 때에 이리가 어린 양과 함께 거하며 표범이 어린 염소와 함께 누우며
송아지와 어린 사자와 살진 짐승이 함께 있어 어린 아이에게 끌리며
11:6 And the wolf will be living with the lamb, and the leopard will take his rest with
the young goat; and the lion will take grass for food like the ox; and the young
lion will go with the young ones of the herd; and a little child will be their guide.
11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down
with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and
a little child shall lead them.
11:7 암소와 곰이 함께 먹으며 그것들의 새끼가 함께 엎드리며 사자가 소처럼
풀을 먹을 것이며
11:7 And the cow and the bear will be friends while their young ones are sleeping together.
11:7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down
together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
11:8 젖 먹는 아이가 독사의 구멍에서 장난하며 젖 뗀 어린 아이가 독사의 굴에
손을 넣을 것이라
11:8 And the child at the breast will be playing by the hole of the snake, and the older
child will put his hand on the bright eye of the poison-snake.
11:8 And the nursing infant shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned
child shall put his hand on the cockatrice' den.
11:9 나의 거룩한 산 모든 곳에서 해됨도 없고 상함도 없을 것이니 이는 물이
바다를 덮음 같이 여호와를 아는 지식이 세상에 충만할 것임이니라
11:9 There will be no cause of pain or destruction in all my holy mountain: for the earth
will be full of the knowledge of the Lord as the sea is covered by the waters.
11:9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth
shall be full of the knowledge of the LORD, as the waters cover the sea.
11:10 ○ 그 날에 이새의 뿌리에서 한 싹이 나서 만민의 기호로 설 것이요 열방이
그에게로 돌아오리니 그 거한 곳이 영화로우리라
11:10 And in that day, the eyes of the nations will be turned to the root of Jesse which
will be lifted up as the flag of the peoples; and his resting-place will be glory.
11:10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for
an explicit sign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest
shall be glorious.
11:11 ○ 그 날에 주께서 다시 손을 펴사 그 남은 백성을 앗수르와 애굽과 바드로스와
구스와 엘람과 시날과 하맛과 바다 섬들에서 돌아오게 하실 것이라
11:11 And in that day the hand of the Lord will be stretched out the second time to get
back the rest of his people, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and
from Cush, and from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the sea-lands.
11:11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the Lord shall set his
hand again the second time to recover the remnant of his people, which shall
be left, from Assyria, and from Egypt, and from Pathros, and from Cush, and
from Elam, and from Shinar, and from Hamath, and from the islands of the sea.
11:12 여호와께서 열방을 향하여 기호를 세우시고 이스라엘의 쫓긴 자를 모으시며
땅 사방에서 유다의 이산한 자를 모으시리니
11:12 And he will put up a flag as a sign to the nations, and he will get together those
of Israel who had been sent away, and the wandering ones of Judah, from the four
ends of the earth.
11:12 And he shall set up an explicit sign for the nations, and shall assemble
the outcasts of Israel, and gather together the dispersed of Judah from the
four corners of the earth.
11:13 에브라임의 투기는 없어지고 유다를 괴롭게 하던 자는 끊어지며 에브라임은
유다를 투기하지 아니하며 유다는 에브라임을 괴롭게 하지 아니할 것이요
11:13 And the envy of Ephraim will be gone, and those who make trouble for Judah will
come to an end: Ephraim will have no more envy of Judah, and there will be an end
of Judah's hate for Ephraim.
11:13 The envy also of Ephraim shall depart, and the adversaries of Judah
shall be cut off: Ephraim shall not envy Judah, and Judah shall not vex Ephraim.
11:14 그들이 서으로 블레셋 사람의 어깨에 날아 앉고 함께 동방 백성을 노략하며
에돔과 모압에 손을 대며 암몬 자손을 자기에게 복종시키시리라
11:14 And they will be united in attacking the Philistines on the west, and together they
will take the goods of the children of the east: their hand will be on Edom and
Moab; and the children of Ammon will be under their rule.
11:14 But they shall fly upon the shoulders of the Philistines toward the
west; they shall spoil them of the east together: they shall lay their hand
upon Edom and Moab; and the children of Ammon shall obey them.
11:15 여호와께서 애굽 해고를 말리우시고 손을 유브라데 하수 위에 흔들어 뜨거운
바람을 일으켜서 그 하수를 쳐서 일곱 갈래로 나눠 신 신고 건너가게 하실 것이라
11:15 And the Lord will make the tongue of the Egyptian sea completely dry; and with his
burning wind his hand will be stretched out over the River, and it will be parted
into seven streams, so that men may go over it with dry feet.
11:15 And the LORD shall utterly destroy the tongue of the Egyptian sea;
and with his mighty wind shall he shake his hand over the river, and shall strike
it in the seven streams, and make men go over dryshod.
11:16 그의 남아 있는 백성을 위하여 앗수르에서부터 돌아오는 대로가 있게 하시되
이스라엘이 애굽 땅에서 나오던 날과 같게 하시리라
11:16 And there will be a highway for the rest of his people from Assyria; as there was
for Israel in the day when he came up out of the land of Egypt.
11:16 And there shall be an highway for the remnant of his people, which
shall be left, from Assyria; like it was to Israel in the day that he came up
out of the land of Egypt.
12:1 그 날에 네가 말하기를 여호와여 주께서 전에는 내게 노하셨사오나 이제는
그 노가 쉬었고 또 나를 안위하시오니 내가 주께 감사하겠나이다 할 것이니라
12:1 And in that day you will say I will give praise to you, O Lord; for though you were
angry with me, your wrath is turned away, and I am comforted.
12:1 And in that day you shall say, O LORD, I will praise you: though you
were angry with me, yours anger is turned away, and you comforted me.
12:2 보라 하나님은 나의 구원이시라 내가 의뢰하고 두려움이 없으리니 주 여호와는
나의 힘이시며 나의 노래시며 나의 구원이심이라
12:2 See, God is my salvation; I will have faith in the Lord, without fear: for the Lord
Jah is my strength and song; and he has become my salvation.
12:2 Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the
LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
12:3 그러므로 너희가 기쁨으로 구원의 우물들에서 물을 길으리로다
12:3 So with joy will you get water out of the springs of salvation.
12:3 Therefore with joy shall all of you draw water out of the wells of salvation.
12:4 그 날에 너희가 또 말하기를 여호와께 감사하라 그 이름을 부르며 그 행하심을
만국 중에 선포하며 그 이름이 높다 하라
12:4 And in that day you will say, Give praise to the Lord, let his name be honoured,
give word of his doings among the peoples, say that his name is lifted up.
12:4 And in that day shall all of you say, Praise the LORD, call upon his
name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
12:5 여호와를 찬송할 것은 극히 아름다운 일을 하셨음이니 온 세계에 알게 할지어다
12:5 Make a song to the Lord; for he has done noble things: give news of them through
all the earth.
12:5 Sing unto the LORD; for he has done excellent things: this is known
in all the earth.
12:6 시온의 거민아 소리를 높여 부르라 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자가 너희 중에서
크심이니라 할 것이니라
12:6 Let your voice be sounding in a cry of joy, O daughter of Zion, for great is the
Holy One of Israel among you.
12:6 Cry out and shout, you inhabitant of Zion: for great is the Holy One
of Israel in the midst of you.
13:1 아모스의 아들 이사야가 바벨론에 대하여 받은 경고라
13:1 The word of the Lord about Babylon which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw.
13:1 The burden of Babylon, which Isaiah the son of Amoz did see.
13:2 ○ 너희는 자산 위에 기호를 세우고 소리를 높여 그들을 부르며 손을 흔들어
그들로 존귀한 자의 문에 들어가게 하라
13:2 Put up a flag on a clear mountain-top, make a loud outcry to them, give directions
with the hand, so that they may go into the doors of the great ones.
13:2 Lift all of you up a banner upon the high mountain, exalt the voice
unto them, shake the hand, that they may go into the gates of the nobles.
13:3 내가 나의 거룩히 구별한 자에게 명하고 나의 위엄을 기뻐하는 용사들을
불러 나의 노를 풀게 하였느니라
13:3 I have given orders to my holy ones, I have sent out my men of war, those of mine
who take pride in their power, to give effect to my wrath.
13:3 I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty ones
for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness.
13:4 산에서 무리의 소리가 남이여 많은 백성의 소리 같으니 곧 열국 민족이 함께
모여 떠드는 소리라 만군의 여호와께서 싸움을 위하여 군대를 검열하심이로다
13:4 The noise of great numbers in the mountains, like the noise of a strong people!
The noise of the kingdoms of the nations meeting together! The Lord of armies is
numbering his forces for war.
13:4 The noise of a multitude in the mountains, like of a great people; a
tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts
musters the host of the battle.
13:5 무리가 먼 나라에서 하늘 가에서 왔음이여 곧 여호와와 그 진노의 병기라
온 땅을 멸하려 함이로다
13:5 They come from a far country, from the farthest part of heaven, even the Lord and
the instruments of his wrath, with destruction for all the land.
13:5 They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD,
and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land.
13:6 ○ 너희는 애곡할지어다 여호와의 날이 가까왔으니 전능자에게서 멸망이
임할 것임이로다
13:6 Send out a cry of grief; for the day of the Lord is near; it comes as destruction
from the Most High.
13:6 Wail all of you; for the day of the LORD is at hand; it shall come as
a destruction from the Almighty.
13:7 그러므로 모든 손이 피곤하며 각 사람의 마음이 녹을 것이라
13:7 For this cause all hands will be feeble, and every heart of man be turned to water;
13:7 Therefore shall all hands be faint, and every man's heart shall melt:
13:8 그들이 놀라며 괴로움과 슬픔에 잡혀서 임산한 여자 같이 고통하며 서로
보고 놀라며 얼굴은 불꽃 같으리로다
13:8 Their hearts will be full of fear; pains and sorrows will overcome them; they will
be in pain like a woman in childbirth; they will be shocked at one another; their
faces will be like flames.
13:8 And they shall be afraid: pangs and sorrows shall take hold of them;
they shall be in pain as a woman that labors: they shall be amazed one at another;
their faces shall be as flames.
13:9 여호와의 날 곧 잔혹히 분냄과 맹렬히 노하는 날이 임하여 땅을 황무케 하며
그 중에서 죄인을 멸하리니
13:9 See, the day of the Lord is coming, cruel, with wrath and burning passion: to make
the land a waste, driving the sinners in it to destruction.
13:9 Behold, the day of the LORD comes, cruel both with wrath and fierce
anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out
of it.
13:10 하늘의 별들과 별 떨기가 그 빛을 내지 아니하며 해가 돋아도 어두우며
달이 그 빛을 비취지 아니할 것이로다
13:10 For the stars of heaven and its bright armies will not give their light: the sun
will be made dark in his journey through the heaven, and the moon will keep back
her light.
13:10 For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give
their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall
not cause her light to shine.
13:11 내가 세상의 악과 악인의 죄를 벌하며 교만한 자의 오만을 끊으며 강포한
자의 거만을 낮출 것이며
13:11 And I will send punishment on the world for its evil, and on the sinners for their
wrongdoing; and I will put an end to all pride, and will make low the power of the
cruel.
13:11 And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their
iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay
low the haughtiness of the terrible.
13:12 내가 사람을 정금보다 희소하게 하며 오빌의 순금보다 희귀케 하리로다
13:12 I will make men so small in number, that a man will be harder to get than gold,
even the best gold of Ophir.
13:12 I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the
golden wedge of Ophir.
13:13 나 만군의 여호와가 분하여 맹렬히 노하는 날에 하늘을 진동시키며 땅을
흔들어 그 자리에서 떠나게 하리니
13:13 For this cause the heavens will be shaking, and the earth will be moved out of its
place, in the wrath of the Lord of armies, and in the day of his burning passion.
13:13 Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out
of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce
anger.
13:14 그들이 쫓긴 노루나 모으는 자 없는 양 같이 각기 동족에게로 돌아가며
본향으로 도망할 것이나
13:14 And it will be that, like a roe in flight, and like wandering sheep, they will go
every man to his people and to his land.
13:14 And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man takes
up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his
own land.
13:15 만나는 자는 창에 찔리겠고 잡히는 자는 칼에 엎드러지겠고
13:15 Everyone who is overtaken will have a spear put through him, and everyone who goes
in flight will be put to the sword.
13:15 Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that
is joined unto them shall fall by the sword.
13:16 그들의 어린 아이들은 그 목전에 메어침을 입겠고 그 집은 노략을 당하겠고
그 아내는 욕을 당하리라
13:16 Their young children will be broken up before their eyes; their goods will be taken
away, and their wives made the property of others.
13:16 Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their
houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished.
13:17 ○ 보라 은을 돌아보지 아니하며 금을 기뻐하지 아니하는 메대 사람을 내가
격동시켜 그들을 치게 하리니
13:17 See, I am driving the Medes against them, who put no value on silver and have no
pleasure in gold.
13:17 Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard
silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it.
13:18 메대 사람이 활로 청년을 쏘아 죽이며 태의 열매를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하며
아이를 가석히 보지 아니하리라
13:18 In their hands are bows and spears; they are cruel, violently putting the young
men to death, and crushing the young women; they have no pity for children, and
no mercy for the fruit of the body.
13:18 Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall
have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eyes shall not spare children.
13:19 열국의 영광이요 갈대아 사람의 자랑하는 노리개가 된 바벨론이 하나님께
멸망 당한 소돔과 고모라 같이 되리니
13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beautiful town which is the pride of the
Chaldaeans, will be like God's destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.
13:19 And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency,
shall be as when God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah.
13:20 그 곳에 처할 자가 없겠고 거할 사람이 대대에 없을 것이며 아라비아 사람도
거기 장막을 치지 아니하며 목자들도 그 곳에 그 양 떼를 쉬게 하지 아니할 것이요
13:20 People will never be living in it again, and it will have no more men from generation
to generation: the Arab will not put up his tent there; and those who keep sheep
will not make it a resting-place for their flocks.
13:20 It shall never be inhabited, neither shall it be dwelt in from generation
to generation: neither shall the Arabian pitch tent there; neither shall the
shepherds make their fold there.
13:21 오직 들짐승들이 거기 엎드리고 부르짖는 짐승이 그 가옥에 충만하며 타조가
거기 깃들이며 들양이 거기서 뛸 것이요
13:21 But the beasts of the waste land will have their holes there; and the houses will
be full of crying jackals, and ostriches will have their place there, and evil spirits
will be dancing there.
13:21 But wild beasts of the desert shall lie there; and their houses shall
be full of doleful creatures; and owls shall dwell there, and satyrs shall dance
there.
13:22 그 궁성에는 시랑이 부르짖을 것이요 화려한 전에는 들개가 울 것이라 그의
때가 가까우며 그의 날이 오래지 아니하리라
13:22 And wolves will be answering one another in their towers, and jackals in their houses
of pleasure: her time is near, and her days of power will quickly be ended.
13:22 And the wild beasts of the islands shall cry in their desolate houses,
and dragons in their pleasant palaces: and her time is near to come, and her
days shall not be prolonged.
14:1 여호와께서 야곱을 긍휼히 여기시며 이스라엘을 다시 택하여 자기 고토에
두시리니 나그네 된 자가 야곱 족속에게 가입되어 그들과 연합할 것이며
14:1 For the Lord will have mercy on Jacob, and will again make Israel his special people,
and will put them in their land; and the man from a strange country will take his
place among them and be joined to the family of Jacob.
14:1 For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and
set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and
they shall cleave to the house of Jacob.
14:2 민족들이 그들을 데리고 그들의 본토에 돌아오리니 이스라엘 족속이 여호와의
땅에서 그들을 얻어 노비를 삼겠고 전에 자기를 사로잡던 자를 사로잡고 자기를 압제하던
자를 주관하리라
14:2 And the people will take them with them to their place: and the children of Israel
will give them a heritage in the Lord's land as men-servants and women-servants,
making them prisoners whose prisoners they were; and they will be rulers over their
masters.
14:2 And the people shall take them, and bring them to their place: and the
house of Israel shall possess them in the land of the LORD for servants and
handmaids: and they shall take them captives, whose captives they were; and
they shall rule over their oppressors.
14:3 ○ 여호와께서 너를 슬픔과 곤고와 및 너의 수고하는 고역에서 놓으시고
안식을 주시는 날에
14:3 And it will be, in the day when the Lord gives you rest from your sorrow, and from
your trouble, and from the hard yoke which they had put on you,
14:3 And it shall come to pass in the day that the LORD shall give you rest
from your sorrow, and from your fear, and from the hard bondage wherein you
were made to serve,
14:4 너는 바벨론 왕에 대하여 이 노래를 지어 이르기를 학대하던 자가 어찌 그리
그쳤으며 강포한 성이 어찌 그리 폐하였는고
14:4 That you will take up this bitter song against the king of Babylon, and say, How
has the cruel overseer come to an end! He who was lifted up in pride is cut off;
14:4 That you shall take up this proverb against the king of Babylon, and
say, How has the oppressor ceased! the golden city ceased!
14:5 여호와께서 악인의 몽둥이와 패권자의 홀을 꺾으셨도다
14:5 The stick of the evil-doers, the rod of the rulers, is broken by the Lord;
14:5 The LORD has broken the staff of the wicked, and the sceptre of the
rulers.
14:6 그들이 분내어 여러 민족을 치되 치기를 마지 아니하였고 노하여 열방을
억압하여도 그 억압을 막을 자 없었더니
14:6 He whose rod was on the peoples with an unending wrath, ruling the nations in passion,
with an uncontrolled rule.
14:6 He who stroke the people in wrath with a continual stroke, he that ruled
the nations in anger, is persecuted, and none hinders.
14:7 이제는 온 땅이 평안하고 정온하니 무리가 소리 질러 노래하는도다
14:7 All the earth is at rest and is quiet: they are bursting into song.
14:7 The whole earth is at rest, and is quiet: they break forth into singing.
14:8 향나무와 레바논 백향목도 너로 인하여 기뻐하여 이르기를 네가 넘어뜨리웠은즉
올라와서 우리를 작벌할 자 없다 하는도다
14:8 Even the trees of the wood are glad over you, the trees of Lebanon, saying, From
the time of your fall no wood-cutter has come up against us with an axe.
14:8 Yea, the fir trees rejoice at you, and the cedars of Lebanon, saying,
Since you are laid down, no tree chopper has come up against us.
14:9 아래의 음부가 너로 인하여 소동하여 너의 옴을 영접하되 그것이 세상에서의
모든 영웅을 너로 인하여 동하게 하며 열방의 모든 왕으로 그 보좌에서 일어서게
하므로
14:9 The underworld is moved at your coming: the shades of the dead are awake before
you, even the strong ones of the earth; all the kings of the world have got up from
their seats.
14:9 Hell from beneath is moved for you to meet you at your coming: it stirs
up the dead for you, even all the chief ones of the earth; it has raised up
from their thrones all the kings of the nations.
14:10 그들은 다 네게 말하여 이르기를 너도 우리 같이 연약하게 되었느냐 너도
우리 같이 되었느냐 하리로다
14:10 They all make answer and say to you, Have you become feeble like us? have you been
made even as we are?
14:10 All they shall speak and say unto you, Are you also become weak as
we? are you become like unto us?
14:11 네 영화가 음부에 떨어졌음이여 너의 비파 소리까지로다 구더기가 네 아래
깔림이여 지렁이가 너를 덮었도다
14:11 Your pride has gone down into the underworld, and the noise of your instruments
of music; the worms are under you, and your body is covered with them.
14:11 Your pomp is brought down to the grave, and the noise of your viols:
the worm is spread under you, and the worms cover you.
14:12 ○ 너 아침의 아들 계명성이여 어찌 그리 하늘에서 떨어졌으며 너 열국을
엎은 자여 어찌 그리 땅에 찍혔는고
14:12 How great is your fall from heaven, O shining one, son of the morning! How are you
cut down to the earth, low among the dead bodies!
14:12 How are you fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how
are you cut down to the ground, which did weaken the nations!
14:13 네가 네 마음에 이르기를 내가 하늘에 올라 하나님의 뭇 별 위에 나의 보좌를
높이리라 내가 북극 집회의 산 위에 좌정하리라
14:13 For you said in your heart, I will go up to heaven, I will make my seat higher than
the stars of God; I will take my place on the mountain of the meeting-place of the
gods, in the inmost parts of the north.
14:13 For you have said in yours heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will
exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the
congregation, in the sides of the north:
14:14 가장 높은 구름에 올라 지극히 높은 자와 비기리라 하도다
14:14 I will go higher than the clouds; I will be like the Most High.
14:14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most
High.
14:15 그러나 이제 네가 음부 곧 구덩이의 맨 밑에 빠치우리로다
14:15 But you will come down to the underworld, even to its inmost parts.
14:15 Yet you shall be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
14:16 너를 보는 자가 주목하여 너를 자세히 살펴 보며 말하기를 이 사람이 땅을
진동시키며 열국을 경동시키며
14:16 Those who see you will be looking on you with care, they will be in deep thought,
saying, Is this the troubler of the earth, the shaker of kingdoms?
14:16 They that see you shall narrowly look upon you, and consider you, saying,
Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;
14:17 세계를 황무케 하며 성읍을 파괴하며 사로잡힌 자를 그 집으로 놓아 보내지
않던 자가 아니뇨 하리로다
14:17 Who made the world a waste, overturning its towns; who did not let his prisoners
loose from the prison-house.
14:17 That made the world as a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof;
that opened not the house of his prisoners?
14:18 열방의 왕들은 모두 각각 자기 집에서 영광 중에 자건마는
14:18 All the kings of the earth are at rest in glory, every man in his house,
14:18 All the kings of the nations, even all of them, lie in glory, every
one in his own house.
14:19 오직 너는 자기 무덤에서 내어쫓겼으니 가증한 나무 가지 같고 칼에 찔려
돌구덩이에 빠진 주검에 둘러싸였으니 밟힌 시체와 같도다
14:19 But you, like a birth before its time, are stretched out with no resting-place in
the earth; clothed with the bodies of the dead who have been put to the sword, who
go down to the lowest parts of the underworld; a dead body, crushed under foot.
14:19 But you are cast out of your grave like an abominable branch, and as
the raiment of those that are slain, thrust through with a sword, that go down
to the stones of the pit; as a carcass trodden under feet.
14:20 네가 자기 땅을 망케 하였고 자기 백성을 죽였으므로 그들과 일반으로 안장함을
얻지 못하나니 악을 행하는 자의 후손은 영영히 이름이 나지 못하리로다 할지니라
14:20 As for your fathers, you will not be united with them in their resting-place, because
you have been the cause of destruction to your land, and of death to your people;
the seed of the evil-doer will have no place in the memory of man.
14:20 You shall not be joined with them in burial, because you have destroyed
your land, and slain your people: the seed of evildoers shall never be renowned.
14:21 ○ 너희는 그들의 열조의 죄악을 인하여 그 자손 도륙하기를 예비하여 그들로
일어나 땅을 취하여 세상에 성읍을 충만케 하지 못하게 하라
14:21 Make ready a place of death for his children, because of the evil-doing of their
father; so that they may not come up and take the earth for their heritage, covering
the face of the world with waste places.
14:21 Prepare slaughter for his children for the iniquity of their fathers;
that they do not rise, nor possess the land, nor fill the face of the world
with cities.
14:22 만군의 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 일어나 그들을 쳐서 그 이름과 남은
자와 아들과 후손을 바벨론에서 끊으리라 나 여호와의 말이니라
14:22 For I will come up against them, says the Lord of armies, cutting off from Babylon
name and offspring, son and son's son, says the Lord.
14:22 For I will rise up against them, says the LORD of hosts, and cut off
from Babylon the name, and remnant, and son, and nephew, says the LORD.
14:23 내가 또 그것으로 고슴도치의 굴혈과 물웅덩이가 되게 하고 또 멸망의 비로
소제하리라 나 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
14:23 And I will make you a heritage for the hedgehog, and pools of water: and I will
go through it with the brush of destruction, says the Lord of armies.
14:23 I will also make it a possession for the bittern, and pools of water:
and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, says the LORD of hosts.
14:24 ○ 만군의 여호와께서 맹세하여 가라사대 나의 생각한 것이 반드시 되며
나의 경영한 것이 반드시 이루리라
14:24 The Lord has taken an oath, saying, My design will certainly come about, and my
purpose will be effected:
14:24 The LORD of hosts has sworn, saying, Surely as I have thought, so shall
it come to pass; and as I have purposed, so shall it stand:
14:25 내가 앗수르 사람을 나의 땅에서 파하며 나의 산에서 발 아래 밟으리니 그
때에 그의 멍에가 이스라엘에게서 떠나고 그의 짐이 그들의 어깨에서 벗어질 것이라
14:25 To let the Assyrian be broken in my land, and crushed under foot on my mountains:
there will his yoke be taken away from them, and his rule over them come to an end.
14:25 That I will break the Assyrian in my land, and upon my mountains tread
him under foot: then shall his yoke depart from off them, and his burden depart
from off their shoulders.
14:26 이것이 온 세계를 향하여 정한 경영이며 이것이 열방을 향하여 편 손이라
하셨나니
14:26 This is the purpose for all the earth: and this is the hand stretched out over all
nations.
14:26 This is the purpose that is purposed upon the whole earth: and this
is the hand that is stretched out upon all the nations.
14:27 만군의 여호와께서 경영하셨은즉 누가 능히 그것을 폐하며 그 손을 펴셨은즉
누가 능히 그것을 돌이키랴
14:27 For it is the purpose of the Lord of armies, and who will make it of no effect?
when his hand is stretched out, by whom may it be turned back?
14:27 For the LORD of hosts has purposed, and who shall nullify it? and his
hand is stretched out, and who shall turn it back?
14:28 ○ 아하스 왕의 죽던 해에 받은 경고라
14:28 In the year of the death of King Ahaz this word came to the prophet:
14:28 In the year that king Ahaz died was this burden.
14:29 블레셋 온 땅이여 너를 치던 막대기가 부러졌다고 기뻐하지 말라 뱀의 뿌리에서는
독사가 나겠고 그 열매는 나는 불뱀이 되리라
14:29 Be not glad, O Philistia, all of you, because the rod which was on you is broken:
for out of the snake's root will come a poison-snake, and its fruit will be a winged
poison-snake.
14:29 Rejoice not you, whole Palestina, because the rod of him that stroke
you is broken: for out of the serpent's root shall come forth a cockatrice,
and his fruit shall be a fiery flying serpent.
14:30 가난한 자의 장자는 먹겠고 빈핍한 자는 평안히 누우려니와 내가 너의 뿌리를
기근으로 죽일 것이요 너의 남은 자는 살륙을 당하리라
14:30 And the poorest of the land will have food, and those in need will be given a safe
resting-place: but your seed will come to an end for need of food, and the rest
of you will be put to the sword.
14:30 And the firstborn of the poor shall feed, and the needy shall lie down
in safety: and I will kill your root with famine, and he shall slay your remnant.
14:31 성문이여 슬피 울지어다 성읍이여 부르짖을지어다 너 블레셋이여 다 소멸되게
되었도다 대저 연기가 북방에서 오는데 그 항오를 떨어져 행하는 자 없느니라
14:31 Send out a cry, O door! Make sounds of sorrow, O town! All your land has come to
nothing, O Philistia; for there comes a smoke out of the north, and everyone keeps
his place in the line.
14:31 Wail, O gate; cry, O city; you, whole Palestina, are dissolved: for
there shall come from the north a smoke, and none shall be alone in his appointed
times.
14:32 ○ 그 나라 사신들에게 어떻게 대답하겠느냐 여호와께서 시온을 세우셨으니
그의 백성의 곤고한 자들이 그 안에서 피난하리라 할 것이니라
14:32 What answer, then, will my people give to the representatives of the nation? That
the Lord is the builder of Zion, and she will be a safe place for the poor of his
people.
14:32 What shall one then answer the messengers of the nation? That the LORD
has founded Zion, and the poor of his people shall trust in it.
15:1 모압에 관한 경고라 ○ 하루 밤에 모압 알이 망하여 황폐할 것이며 하루
밤에 모압 길이 망하여 황폐할 것이라
15:1 The word about Moab. For in a night Ar of Moab has become waste, and is seen no
longer; for in a night Kir of Moab has become waste, and is seen no longer.
15:1 The burden of Moab. Because in the night Ar of Moab is laid waste, and
brought to silence; because in the night Kir of Moab is laid waste, and brought
to silence;
15:2 그들은 바잇과 디본 산당에 올라가서 울며 모압은 느보와 메드바를 위하여
통곡하도다 그들이 각각 머리털을 없이 하였고 수염을 깎았으며
15:2 The daughter of Dibon has gone up to the high places, weeping: Moab is sounding
her cry of sorrow over Nebo, and over Medeba: everywhere the hair of the head and
of the face is cut off.
15:2 He is gone up to Bajith, and to Dibon, the high places, to weep: Moab
shall wail over Nebo, and over Medeba: on all their heads shall be baldness,
and every beard cut off.
15:3 거리에서는 굵은 베로 몸을 동였으며 지붕과 넓은 곳에서는 각기 애통하여
심히 울며
15:3 In their streets they are covering themselves with haircloth: on the tops of their
houses, and in their public places, there is crying and bitter weeping.
15:3 In their streets they shall gird themselves with sackcloth: on the tops
of their houses, and in their streets, every one shall wail, weeping abundantly.
15:4 헤스본과 엘르알레는 부르짖으며 그 소리는 야하스까지 들리니 그러므로
모압의 전사가 크게 부르짖으며 그 혼이 속에서 떨도다
15:4 Heshbon is crying out, and Elealeh; their voice is sounding even to Jahaz: for this
cause the heart of Moab is shaking; his soul is shaking with fear.
15:4 And Heshbon shall cry, and Elealeh: their voice shall be heard even
unto Jahaz: therefore the armed soldiers of Moab shall cry out; his life shall
be grievous unto him.
15:5 내 마음이 모압을 위하여 부르짖는도다 그 귀인들은 소알과 에글랏 슬리시야로
도망하여 울며 루힛 비탈길로 올라가며 호로나임 길에서 패망을 부르짖으니
15:5 My heart is crying out for Moab; her people go in flight to Zoar, and to Eglath-shelishiyah:
for they go up with weeping by the slope of Luhith; on the way to Horonaim they
send up a cry of destruction.
15:5 My heart shall cry out for Moab; his fugitives shall flee unto Zoar,
an heifer of three years old: for by the mounting up of Luhith with weeping
shall they go it up; for in the way of Horonaim they shall raise up a cry of
destruction.
15:6 ○ 니므림 물이 마르고 풀이 시들었으며 연한 풀이 말라 청청한 것이 없음이로다
15:6 The waters of Nimrim will become dry: for the grass is burned up, the young grass
is coming to an end, every green thing is dead.
15:6 For the waters of Nimrim shall be desolate: for the hay is withered
away, the grass fails, there is no green thing.
15:7 그러므로 그들이 얻은 재물과 쌓았던 것을 가지고 버드나무 시내를 건너리니
15:7 For this cause they will take away their wealth, and the stores they have got together,
over the stream of the water-plants.
15:7 Therefore the abundance they have got, and that which they have laid
up, shall they carry away to the brook of the willows.
15:8 이는 곡성이 모압 사방에 둘렸고 슬피 부르짖음이 에글라임에 이르며 부르짖음이
브엘엘림에 미치며
15:8 For the cry has gone round the limits of Moab; as far as to Eglaim and Beer-elim.
15:8 For the cry is gone round about the borders of Moab; the howling thereof
unto Eglaim, and the howling thereof unto Beerelim.
15:9 디몬 물에는 피가 가득함이로다 그럴지라도 내가 디몬에 재앙을 더 내리되
모압에 도피한 자와 그 땅의 남은 자에게 사자를 보내리라
15:9 For the waters of Dimon are full of blood: and I'm sending even more on Moab, a
lion on those of Moab who go in flight, and on the rest of the land.
15:9 For the waters of Dimon shall be full of blood: for I will bring more
upon Dimon, lions upon him that escapes of Moab, and upon the remnant of the
land.
16:1 너희는 이 땅 치리자에게 어린 양들을 드리되 셀라에서부터 광야를 지나
딸 시온 산으로 보낼지니라
16:1 And they will send ... to the mountain of the daughter of Zion.
16:1 Send all of you the lamb to the ruler of the land from Sela to the wilderness,
unto the mount of the daughter of Zion.
16:2 모압의 여자들은 아르논 나루에서 떠다니는 새 같고 보금자리에서 흩어진
새 새끼 같을 것이라
16:2 For the daughters of Moab will be like wandering birds, like a place from which
the young birds have gone in flight, at the ways across the Arnon.
16:2 For it shall be, that, as a wandering bird cast out of the nest, so
the daughters of Moab shall be at the fords of Arnon.
16:3 너는 모략을 베풀며 공의로 판결하며 오정 때에 밤 같이 그늘을 짓고 쫓겨난
자를 숨기며 도망한 자를 발각시키지 말며
16:3 Give wise directions, make a decision; let your shade be as night in full day: keep
safe those who are in flight; do not give up the wandering ones.
16:3 Take counsel, execute judgment; make your shadow as the night in the
midst of the noonday; hide the outcasts; betray not him that wanders.
16:4 나의 쫓겨난 자들로 너와 함께 있게 하되 너 모압은 멸절하는 자 앞에서 그
피할 곳이 되라 대저 토색하는 자가 망하였고 멸절하는 자가 그쳤고 압제하는 자가
이 땅에서 멸절하였으며
16:4 Let those who have been forced out of Moab have a resting-place with you; be a cover
to them from him who is making waste their land: till the cruel ones are cut off,
and wasting has come to an end, and those who take pleasure in crushing the poor
are gone from the land.
16:4 Let mine outcasts dwell with you, Moab; be you a covert to them from
the face of the spoiler: for the extortionist is at an end, the spoiler ceases,
the oppressors are consumed out of the land.
16:5 다윗의 장막에 왕위는 인자함으로 굳게 설 것이요 그 위에 앉을 자는 충실함으로
판결하며 공평을 구하며 의를 신속히 행하리라
16:5 Then a king's seat will be based on mercy, and one will be seated on it in the tent
of David for ever; judging uprightly, and quick to do righteousness.
16:5 And in mercy shall the throne be established: and he shall sit upon
it in truth in the tabernacle of David, judging, and seeking judgment, and hasting
righteousness.
16:6 우리가 모압의 교만을 들었나니 심히 교만하도다 그의 거만하며 교만하며
분노함도 들었거니와 그 과장이 헛되도다
16:6 We have had word of the pride of Moab, how great it is; how he is lifted up in pride
and passion: his high words about himself are false.
16:6 We have heard of the pride of Moab; he is very proud: even of his haughtiness,
and his pride, and his wrath: but his lies shall not be so.
16:7 그러므로 모압이 모압을 위하여 통곡하되 다 통곡하며 길하레셋 건포도 떡을
위하여 그들이 슬퍼하며 심히 근심하리니
16:7 For this cause everyone in Moab will give cries of grief for Moab: crushed to the
earth, they will be weeping for the men of Kir-hareseth.
16:7 Therefore shall Moab wail for Moab, every one shall wail: for the foundations
of Kirhareseth shall all of you mourn; surely they are stricken.
16:8 이는 헤스본의 밭과 십마의 포도나무가 말랐음이라 전에는 그 가지가 야셀에
미쳐 광야에 이르고 그 싹이 자라서 바다를 건넜더니 이제 열국 주권자들이 그 좋은
가지를 꺾었도다
16:8 For the fields of Heshbon are waste, the vine of Sibmah is dead; the lords of nations
were overcome by the produce of her vines; her vine-plants went as far as Jazer,
and came even to the waste land; her branches were stretched out to the sea.
16:8 For the fields of Heshbon languish, and the vine of Sibmah: the lords
of the heathen have broken down the principal plants thereof, they are come
even unto Jazer, they wandered through the wilderness: her branches are stretched
out, they are gone over the sea.
16:9 그러므로 내가 야셀의 울음처럼 십마의 포도나무를 위하여 울리라 헤스본이여,
엘르알레여, 나의 눈물로 너를 적시리니 너의 여름 실과, 너의 농작물에 떠드는 소리가
일어남이니라
16:9 For this cause my sorrow for the vine of Sibmah will be like the weeping for Jazer:
my eyes are dropping water on you, O Heshbon and Elealeh! For they are sounding
the war-cry over your summer fruits and the getting in of your grain;
16:9 Therefore I will mourn for with the weeping of Jazer the vine of Sibmah:
I will water you with my tears, O Heshbon, and Elealeh: for the shouting for
your summer fruits and for your harvest is fallen.
16:10 즐거움과 기쁨이 기름진 밭에서 떠났고 포도원에는 노래와 즐거운 소리가
없어지겠고 틀에는 포도를 밟을 사람이 없으리니 이는 내가 그 소리를 그치게 하였음이라
16:10 And all joy is gone; no longer are they glad for the fertile field; and in the vine-gardens
there are no songs or sounds of joy: the crushing of grapes has come to an end,
and its glad cry has been stopped.
16:10 And gladness is taken away, and joy out of the plentiful field; and
in the vineyards there shall be no singing, neither shall there be shouting:
the treaders shall tread out no wine in their presses; I have made their vintage
shouting to cease.
16:11 이러므로 나의 마음이 모압을 위하여 수금 같이 소리를 발하며 나의 창자가
길하레셋을 위하여 그러하도다
16:11 For this cause the cords of my heart are sounding for Moab, and I am full of sorrow
for Kir-heres.
16:11 Wherefore my bowels shall sound like an harp for Moab, and mine inward
parts for Kirharesh.
16:12 모압 사람이 그 산당에서 피곤하도록 봉사하며 자기 성소에 나아가서 기도할지라도
무효하리로다
16:12 And when Moab goes up to the high place, and makes prayer in the house of his god,
it will have no effect.
16:12 And it shall come to pass, when it is seen that Moab is weary on the
high place, that he shall come to his sanctuary to pray; but he shall not prevail.
16:13 이는 여호와께서 전에 모압을 들어 하신 말씀이어니와
16:13 This is the word which the Lord said about Moab in the past.
16:13 This is the word that the LORD has spoken concerning Moab since that
time.
16:14 이제 여호와께서 말씀하여 가라사대 품군의 정한 해와 같이 삼 년 내에 모압의
영화와 그 큰 무리가 능욕을 당할지라 그 남은 수가 심히 적어 소용이 없이 되리라
하시도다
16:14 But now the Lord has said, In three years, the years of a servant working for payment,
the glory of Moab, all that great people, will be turned to shame, and the rest
of Moab will be very small and without honour.
16:14 But now the LORD has spoken, saying, Within three years, as the years
of a worker, and the glory of Moab shall be contemned, with all that great multitude;
and the remnant shall be very small and feeble.
17:1 다메섹에 관한 경고라 ○ 보라 다메섹이 장차 성읍 모양을 이루지 못하고
무너진 무더기가 될 것이라
17:1 The word about Damascus. See, they have made Damascus a town no longer; it has become
a waste place.
17:1 The burden of Damascus. Behold, Damascus is taken away from being a
city, and it shall be a ruinous heap.
17:2 아로엘의 성읍들이 버림을 당하리니 양 무리를 치는 곳이 되어 양이 눕되
놀라게 할 자가 없을 것이며
17:2 Her towns are unpeopled for ever; there the flocks take their rest in peace, without
fear.
17:2 The cities of Aroer are forsaken: they shall be for flocks, which shall
lie down, and none shall make them afraid.
17:3 에브라임의 요새와 다메섹 나라와 아람의 남은 백성이 멸절하여 이스라엘
자손의 영광 같이 되리라 만군의 여호와의 말씀이니라
17:3 The strong tower has gone from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus: the rest
of Aram will come to destruction, and be made like the glory of the children of
Israel, says the Lord of armies.
17:3 The fortress also shall cease from Ephraim, and the kingdom from Damascus,
and the remnant of Syria: they shall be as the glory of the children of Israel,
says the LORD of hosts.
17:4 ○ 그 날에 야곱의 영광이 쇠하고 그 살진 몸이 파리하리니
17:4 And it will be in that day that the glory of Jacob will be made small, and the strength
of his body will become feeble.
17:4 And in that day it shall come to pass, that the glory of Jacob shall
be made thin, and the fatness of his flesh shall wax lean.
17:5 마치 추수하는 자가 곡식을 거두어 가지고 그 손으로 이삭을 벤 것 같고
르바임 골짜기에서 이삭을 주운 것 같으리라
17:5 And it will be like a man cutting the growth of his grain, pulling together the
heads of the grain with his arm; even as when they get in the grain in the valley
of Rephaim.
17:5 And it shall be as when the harvestman gathers the corn, and reaps the
ears with his arm; and it shall be as he that gathers ears in the valley of
Rephaim.
17:6 그러나 오히려 주울 것이 남으리니 감람나무를 흔들 때에 가장 높은 가지
꼭대기에 실과 이 삼 개가 남음 같겠고 무성한 나무의 가장 먼 가지에 사 오 개가 남음
같으리라 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 말씀이니라
17:6 But it will be like a man shaking an olive-tree, something will still be there,
two or three berries on the top of the highest branch, four or five on the outside
branches of a fertile tree, says the Lord, the God of Israel.
17:6 Yet gleaning grapes shall be left in it, as the shaking of an olive
tree, two or three berries in the top of the uppermost bough, four or five in
the utmost fruitful branches thereof, says the LORD God of Israel.
17:7 그 날에 사람이 자기를 지으신 자를 쳐다보겠으며 그 눈이 이스라엘의 거룩하신
자를 바라보겠고
17:7 In that day a man's heart will be turned to his Maker, and his eyes to the Holy
One of Israel.
17:7 At that day shall a man look to his Maker, and his eyes shall have respect
to the Holy One of Israel.
17:8 자기 손으로 만든 단을 쳐다보지 아니하며 자기 손가락으로 지은 아세라나
태양상을 바라보지 아니할 것이며
17:8 He will not be looking to the altars, the work of his hands, or to the wood pillars
or to the sun-images which his fingers have made.
17:8 And he shall not look to the altars, the work of his hands, neither
shall respect that which his fingers have made, either the groves, or the images.
17:9 그 날에 그 견고한 성읍들이 옛적에 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 버린 바 된 수풀
속의 처소와 작은 산 꼭대기의 처소 같아서 황폐하리니
17:9 In that day your towns will be like the waste places of the Hivites and the Amorites
which the children of Israel took for a heritage, and they will come to destruction.
17:9 In that day shall his strong cities be as a forsaken bough, and an uppermost
branch, which they left because of the children of Israel: and there shall be
desolation.
17:10 이는 네가 자기의 구원의 하나님을 잊어버리며 자기의 능력의 반석을 마음에
두지 않은 까닭이라 그러므로 네가 기뻐하는 식물을 심으며 이방의 가지도 이종하고
17:10 For you have not given honour to the God of your salvation, and have not kept in
mind the Rock of your strength; for this cause you made a garden of Adonis, and
put in it the vine-cuttings of a strange god;
17:10 Because you have forgotten the God of your salvation, and have not
been mindful of the rock of your strength, therefore shall you plant pleasant
plants, and shall set it with strange slips:
17:11 네가 심는 날에 울타리로 두르고 아침에 너의 씨로 잘 발육하도록 하였으나
근심과 심한 슬픔의 날에 농작물이 없어지리라
17:11 In the day of your planting you were watching its growth, and in the morning your
seed was flowering: but its fruit is wasted away in the day of grief and bitter
sorrow.
17:11 In the day shall you make your plant to grow, and in the morning shall
you make your seed to flourish: but the harvest shall be a heap in the day of
grief and of desperate sorrow.
17:12 ○ 슬프다 많은 민족이 소동하였으되 바다 파도의 뛰노는 소리 같이 그들이
소동하였고 열방이 충돌하였으되 큰 물의 몰려옴 같이 그들도 충돌하였도다
17:12 Ah! the voice of peoples, like the loud sounding of the seas, and the thundering
of great nations rushing on like the bursting out of waters!
17:12 Woe to the multitude of many people, which make a noise like the noise
of the seas; and to the rushing of nations, that make a rushing like the rushing
of mighty waters!
17:13 열방이 충돌하기를 많은 물의 몰려옴과 같이 하나 주께서 그들을 꾸짖으시리니
그들이 멀리 도망함이 산에 겨가 바람 앞에 흩어짐 같겠고 폭풍 앞에 떠도는 티끌
같을 것이라
17:13 But he will put a stop to them, and make them go in flight far away, driving them
like the waste of the grain on the tops of the mountains before the wind, and like
the circling dust before the storm.
17:13 The nations shall rush like the rushing of many waters: but God shall
rebuke them, and they shall flee far off, and shall be chased as the chaff of
the mountains before the wind, and like a rolling thing before the whirlwind.
17:14 보라 저녁에 두려움을 당하고 아침 전에 그들이 없어졌나니 이는 우리를
노략한 자의 분깃이요 우리를 강탈한 자의 보응이니라
17:14 In the evening there is fear, and in the morning they are gone. This is the fate
of those who take our goods, and the reward of those who violently take our property
for themselves.
17:14 And behold at evening-time trouble; and before the morning he is not.
This is the portion of them that spoil us, and the lot of them that rob us.
18:1 슬프다 구스의 강 건너편 날개 치는 소리 나는 땅이여
18:1 Ho! land of the sounding of wings, on the other side of the rivers of Ethiopia:
18:1 Woe to the land shadowing with wings, which is beyond the rivers of
Ethiopia:
18:2 갈대 배를 물에 띄우고 그 사자를 수로로 보내며 이르기를 너희 경첩한 사자들아
너희는 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라로 가되 장대하고 준수한 백성 곧 시초부터 두려움이
되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성에게로 가라 하도다
18:2 Which sends its representatives by the sea, even in ships of papyrus on the waters.
Go back quickly, O representatives, to a nation tall and smooth, to a people causing
fear through all their history; a strong nation, crushing down its haters, whose
land is cut through by rivers.
18:2 That sends ambassadors by the sea, even in vessels of bulrushes upon
the waters, saying, Go, all of you swift messengers, to a nation scattered and
peeled, to a people terrible from their beginning until now; a nation meted
out and trodden down, whose land the rivers have spoiled!
18:3 세상의 모든 거민, 지상에 거하는 너희여 산들 위에 기호를 세우거든 너희는
보고 나팔을 불거든 너희는 들을지니라
18:3 All you peoples of the world, and you who are living on the earth, when a flag is
lifted up on the mountains, give attention; and when the horn is sounded, give ear.
18:3 All you inhabitants of the world, and dwellers on the earth, see all
of you, when he lifts up an explicit sign on the mountains; and when he blows
a trumpet, hear all of you.
18:4 ○ 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 내가 나의 처소에서 종용히 감찰함이 쬐이는
일광 같고 가을 더위에 운무 같도다
18:4 For this is what the Lord has said to me: I will be quiet, watching from my place;
like the clear heat when the sun is shining, like a mist of dew in the heat of summer.
18:4 For so the LORD said unto me, I will take my rest, and I will consider
in my dwelling place like a clear heat upon herbs, and like a cloud of dew in
the heat of harvest.
18:5 추수하기 전에 꽃이 떨어지고 포도가 맺혀 익어갈 때에 내가 낫으로 그
연한 가지를 베며 퍼진 가지를 찍어 버려서
18:5 For before the time of getting in the grapes, after the opening of the bud, when
the flower has become a grape ready for crushing, he will take away the small branches
with knives, cutting down and taking away the wide-stretching branches.
18:5 For before the harvest, when the bud is perfect, and the sour grape
is ripening in the flower, he shall both cut off the sprigs with pruning hooks,
and take away and cut down the branches.
18:6 산의 독수리들에게와 땅의 들짐승들에게 끼쳐 주리니 산의 독수리들이 그것으로
과하하며 땅의 들짐승들이 다 그것으로 과동하리라 하셨음이니라
18:6 They will be for the birds of the mountains, and for the beasts of the earth: the
birds will come down on them in the summer, and the beasts of the earth in the winter.
18:6 They shall be left together unto the fowls of the mountains, and to
the beasts of the earth: and the fowls shall summer upon them, and all the beasts
of the earth shall winter upon them.
18:7 그 때에 강들이 흘러 나누인 나라의 장대하고 준수하며 시초부터 두려움이
되며 강성하여 대적을 밟는 백성에게서 만군의 여호와께 드릴 예물을 가지고 만군의
여호와의 이름을 두신 곳 시온 산에 이르리라
18:7 In that time an offering will be made to the Lord of armies from a people tall and
smooth, causing fear through all their history; a strong nation, crushing down its
haters, whose land is cut through by rivers, an offering taken to the place of the
name of the Lord of armies, even Mount Zion.
18:7 In that time shall the present be brought unto the LORD of hosts of
a people scattered and peeled, and from a people terrible from their beginning
until now; a nation meted out and trodden under foot, whose land the rivers
have spoiled, to the place of the name of the LORD of hosts, the mount Zion.
19:1 애굽에 관한 경고라 ○ 보라 여호와께서 빠른 구름을 타고 애굽에 임하시리니
애굽의 우상들이 그 앞에서 떨겠고 애굽인의 마음이 그 속에서 녹으리로다
19:1 The word about Egypt. See, the Lord is seated on a quick-moving cloud, and is coming
to Egypt: and the false gods of Egypt will be troubled at his coming, and the heart
of Egypt will be turned to water.
19:1 The burden of Egypt. Behold, the LORD rides upon a swift cloud, and
shall come into Egypt: and the idols of Egypt shall be moved at his presence,
and the heart of Egypt shall melt in the midst of it.
19:2 그가 애굽인을 격동하사 애굽인을 치게 하시리니 그들이 각기 형제를 치며
각기 이웃을 칠 것이요 성읍이 성읍을 치며 나라가 나라를 칠 것이며
19:2 And I will send the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they will be fighting every
one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; town against town,
and kingdom against kingdom.
19:2 And I will set the Egyptians against the Egyptians: and they shall fight
every one against his brother, and every one against his neighbour; city against
city, and kingdom against kingdom.
19:3 애굽인의 정신이 그 속에서 쇠약할 것이요 그 도모는 그의 파하신 바가 되리니
그들이 우상과 마술사와 신접한 자와 요술객에게 물으리로다
19:3 And the spirit of Egypt will be troubled in her, and I will make her decisions without
effect: and they will be turning to the false gods, and to those who make hollow
sounds, and to those who have control of spirits, and to those who are wise in secret
arts.
19:3 And the spirit of Egypt shall fail in the midst thereof; and I will
destroy the counsel thereof: and they shall seek to the idols, and to the charmers,
and to them that have familiar spirits, and to the wizards.
19:4 그가 애굽인을 잔인한 군주의 손에 붙이시리니 포학한 왕이 그들을 치리하리라
주 만군의 여호와의 말씀이니라
19:4 And I will give the Egyptians into the hand of a cruel lord; and a hard king will
be their ruler, says the Lord, the Lord of armies.
19:4 And the Egyptians will I give over into the hand of a cruel lord; and
a fierce king shall rule over them, says the Lord, the LORD of hosts.
19:5 ○ 바닷물이 없어지겠고 강이 잦아서 마르겠고
19:5 And the waters of the sea will be cut off, and the river will become dry and waste:
19:5 And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted
and dried up.
19:6 강들에서는 악취가 나겠고 애굽 시냇물은 줄어들고 마르므로 달과 같이 시들겠으며
19:6 And the rivers will have an evil smell; the stream of Egypt will become small and
dry: all the water-plants will come to nothing.
19:6 And they shall turn the rivers far away; and the brooks of defence shall
be emptied and dried up: the reeds and flags shall wither.
19:7 나일 가까운 곳 나일 언덕의 초장과 나일 강 가까운 곡식 밭이 다 말라서 날아
없어질 것이며
19:7 The grass-lands by the Nile, and everything planted by the Nile, will become dry,
or taken away by the wind, and will come to an end.
19:7 The paper reeds by the brooks, by the mouth of the brooks, and every
thing sown by the brooks, shall wither, be driven away, and be no more.
19:8 어부들은 탄식하며 무릇 나일 강에 낚시를 던지는 자는 슬퍼하며 물에 그물을
치는 자는 피곤할 것이며
19:8 The fishermen will be sad, and all those who put fishing-lines into the Nile will
be full of grief, and those whose nets are stretched out on the waters will have
sorrow in their hearts.
19:8 The fishers also shall mourn, and all they that cast angle into the
brooks shall lament, and they that spread nets upon the waters shall languish.
19:9 세마포를 만드는 자와 백목을 짜는 자들이 수치를 당할 것이며
19:9 And all the workers in linen thread, and those who make cotton cloth, will be put
to shame.
19:9 Moreover they that work in fine flax, and they that weave networks,
shall be confounded.
19:10 애굽의 기둥이 부숴지고 품군들이 다 마음에 근심하리라
19:10 And the makers of twisted thread will be crushed, and those who ... will be sad
in heart.
19:10 And they shall be broken in the purposes thereof, all that make sluices
and ponds for fish.
19:11 ○ 소안의 방백은 지극히 어리석었고 바로의 가장 지혜로운 모사의 모략은
우준하여졌으니 너희가 어떻게 바로에게 이르기를 나는 지혜로운 자들의 자손이라
나는 옛 왕들의 후예라 할 수 있으랴
19:11 The chiefs of Zoan are completely foolish; the wisest guides of Pharaoh have become
like beasts: how do you say to Pharaoh, I am the son of the wise, the offspring
of early kings?
19:11 Surely the princes of Zoan are fools, the counsel of the wise counsellors
of Pharaoh is become brutish: how say all of you unto Pharaoh, I am the son
of the wise, the son of ancient kings?
19:12 너의 지혜로운 자가 어디 있느냐 그들이 만군의 여호와께서 애굽에 대하여
정하신 뜻을 알 것이요 곧 네게 고할 것이니라
19:12 Where, then, are your wise men? let them make clear to you, let them give you knowledge
of the purpose of the Lord of armies for Egypt.
19:12 Where are they? where are your wise men? and let them tell you now,
and let them know what the LORD of hosts has purposed upon Egypt.
19:13 소안의 방백들은 어리석었고 놉의 방백들은 미혹되었도다 그들은 애굽 지파들의
모퉁이 돌이어늘 애굽으로 그릇가게 하였도다
19:13 The chiefs of Zoan have become foolish, the chiefs of Noph are tricked, the heads
of her tribes are the cause of Egypt's wandering out of the way.
19:13 The princes of Zoan are become fools, the princes of Noph are deceived;
they have also seduced Egypt, even they that are the stay of the tribes thereof.
19:14 여호와께서 그 가운데 사특한 마음을 섞으셨으므로 그들이 애굽으로 매사에
잘못 가게 함이 취한 자가 토하면서 비틀거림 같게 하였으니
19:14 The Lord has sent among them a spirit of error: and by them Egypt is turned out
of the right way in all her doings, as a man overcome by wine is uncertain in his
steps.
19:14 The LORD has mingled a perverse spirit in the midst thereof: and they
have caused Egypt to go astray in every work thereof, as a drunken man staggers
in his vomit.
19:15 애굽에서 머리나 꼬리나 종려나무 가지나 갈대나 아무 할 일이 없으리라
19:15 And in Egypt there will be no work for any man, head or tail, high or low, to do.
19:15 Neither shall there be any work for Egypt, which the head or tail,
branch or rush, may do.
19:16 ○ 그 날에 애굽인이 부녀와 같을 것이라 그들이 만군의 여호와의 흔드시는
손이 그 위에 흔들림을 인하여 떨며 두려워할 것이며
19:16 In that day the Egyptians will be like women: and the land will be shaking with
fear because of the waving of the Lord's hand stretched out over it.
19:16 In that day shall Egypt be like unto women: and it shall be afraid
and fear because of the shaking of the hand of the LORD of hosts, which he shakes
over it.
19:17 유다의 땅은 애굽의 두려움이 되리니 이는 만군의 여호와께서 애굽에 대하여
정하신 모략을 인함이라 그 소문을 듣는 자마다 떨리라
19:17 And the land of Judah will become a cause of great fear to Egypt; whenever its name
comes to mind, Egypt will be in fear before the Lord of armies because of his purpose
against it.
19:17 And the land of Judah shall be a terror unto Egypt, every one that
makes mention thereof shall be afraid in himself, because of the counsel of
the LORD of hosts, which he has determined against it.
19:18 ○ 그 날에 애굽 땅에 가나안 방언을 말하며 만군의 여호와를 가리켜 맹세하는
다섯 성읍이 있을 것이며 그 중 하나를 장망성이라 칭하리라
19:18 In that day there will be five towns in the land of Egypt using the language of
Canaan, and making oaths to the Lord of armies; and one of them will be named, The
Town of the Sun.
19:18 In that day shall five cities in the land of Egypt speak the language
of Canaan, and swear to the LORD of hosts; one shall be called, The city of
destruction.
19:19 ○ 그 날에 애굽 땅 중앙에는 여호와를 위하여 제단이 있겠고 그 변경에는
여호와를 위하여 기둥이 있을 것이요
19:19 In that day there will be an altar to the Lord in the middle of the land of Egypt,
and a pillar to the Lord at the edge of the land.
19:19 In that day shall there be an altar to the LORD in the midst of the
land of Egypt, and a pillar at the border thereof to the LORD.
19:20 이것이 애굽 땅에서 만군의 여호와를 위하여 표적과 증거가 되리니 이는
그들이 그 압박하는 자의 연고로 여호와께 부르짖겠고 여호와께서는 한 구원자, 보호자를
보내사 그들을 건지실 것임이라
19:20 And it will be a sign and a witness to the Lord of armies in the land of Egypt:
when they are crying out to the Lord because of their cruel masters, then he will
send them a saviour and a strong one to make them free.
19:20 And it shall be for a sign and for a witness unto the LORD of hosts
in the land of Egypt: for they shall cry unto the LORD because of the oppressors,
and he shall send them a saviour, and a great one, and he shall deliver them.
19:21 여호와께서 자기를 애굽에 알게 하시리니 그 날에 애굽인이 여호와를 알고
제물과 예물을 그에게 드리고 경배할 것이요 여호와께 서원하고 그대로 행하리라
19:21 And the Lord will give the knowledge of himself to Egypt, and the Egyptians will
give honour to the Lord in that day; they will give him worship with offerings and
meal offerings, and will take an oath to the Lord and give effect to it.
19:21 And the LORD shall be known to Egypt, and the Egyptians shall know
the LORD in that day, and shall do sacrifice and oblation; yea, they shall vow
a vow unto the LORD, and perform it.
19:22 여호와께서 애굽을 치실 것이라도 치시고는 고치실 것인 고로 그들이 여호와께로
돌아올 것이라 여호와께서 그 간구함을 들으시고 그를 고쳐 주시리라
19:22 And the Lord will send punishment on Egypt, and will make them well again; and when
they come back to the Lord he will give ear to their prayer and take away their
disease.
19:22 And the LORD shall strike Egypt: he shall strike and heal it: and they
shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be implored of them, and shall heal
them.
19:23 ○ 그 날에 애굽에서 앗수르로 통하는 대로가 있어 앗수르 사람은 애굽으로
가겠고 애굽 사람은 앗수르로 갈 것이며 애굽 사람이 앗수르 사람과 함께 경배하리라
19:23 In that day there will be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and Assyria will come
into Egypt, and Egypt will come into Assyria; and the Egyptians will give worship
to the Lord together with the Assyrians.
19:23 In that day shall there be a highway out of Egypt to Assyria, and the
Assyrian shall come into Egypt, and the Egyptian into Assyria, and the Egyptians
shall serve with the Assyrians.
19:24 ○ 그 날에 이스라엘이 애굽과 앗수르로 더불어 셋이 세계 중에 복이 되리니
19:24 In that day Israel will be the third together with Egypt and Assyria, a blessing
in the earth:
19:24 In that day shall Israel be the third with Egypt and with Assyria,
even a blessing in the midst of the land:
19:25 이는 만군의 여호와께서 복을 주어 가라사대 나의 백성 애굽이여, 나의
손으로 지은 앗수르여, 나의 산업 이스라엘이여, 복이 있을지어다 하실 것임이니라
19:25 Because of the blessing of the Lord of armies which he has given them, saying, A
blessing on Egypt my people, and on Assyria the work of my hands, and on Israel
my heritage.
19:25 Whom the LORD of hosts shall bless, saying, Blessed be Egypt my people,
and Assyria the work of my hands, and Israel mine inheritance.
20:1 앗수르 왕 사르곤이 군대 장관을 아스돗으로 보내매 그가 와서 아스돗을 쳐서
취하던 해
20:1 In the year when the Tartan came to Ashdod, sent by Sargon, king of Assyria, and
made war against it and took it;
20:1 In the year that Tartan came unto Ashdod, (when Sargon the king of Assyria
sent him,) and fought against Ashdod, and took it;
20:2 곧 그 때에 여호와께서 아모스의 아들 이사야에게 일러 가라사대 갈지어다
네 허리에서 베를 끄르고 네 발에서 신을 벗을지니라 하시매 그가 그대로 하여 벗은
몸과 벗은 발로 행하니라
20:2 At that time the word of the Lord came to Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saying, Go, and
take off your robe, and your shoes from your feet; and he did so, walking unclothed
and without shoes on his feet.
20:2 At the same time spoke the LORD by Isaiah the son of Amoz, saying, Go
and loose the sackcloth from off your loins, and put off your shoe from your
foot. And he did so, walking naked and barefoot.
20:3 여호와께서 가라사대 나의 종 이사야가 삼 년 동안 벗은 몸과 벗은 발로 행하여
애굽과 구스에 대하여 예표와 기적이 되게 되었느니라
20:3 And the Lord said, As my servant Isaiah has gone unclothed and without shoes for
three years as a sign and a wonder to Egypt and Ethiopia,
20:3 And the LORD said, Like my servant Isaiah has walked naked and barefoot
three years for a sign and wonder upon Egypt and upon Ethiopia;
20:4 이와 같이 애굽의 포로와 구스의 사로잡힌 자가 앗수르 왕에게 끌려갈 때에
젊은 자나 늙은 자가 다 벗은 몸, 벗은 발로 볼기까지 드러내어 애굽의 수치를 뵈이리니
20:4 So will the king of Assyria take away the prisoners of Egypt and those forced out
of Ethiopia, young and old, unclothed and without shoes, and with backs uncovered,
to the shame of Egypt.
20:4 So shall the king of Assyria lead away the Egyptians prisoners, and
the Ethiopians captives, young and old, naked and barefoot, even with their
buttocks uncovered, to the shame of Egypt.
20:5 그들이 그 바라던 구스와 자랑하던 애굽을 인하여 놀라고 부끄러워할 것이라
20:5 And they will be full of fear, and will no longer have faith in Ethiopia which was
their hope, or in Egypt which was their glory.
20:5 And they shall be afraid and ashamed of Ethiopia their expectation,
and of Egypt their glory.
20:6 그 날에 이 해변 거민이 말하기를 우리가 믿던 나라 곧 우리가 앗수르 왕에게서
벗어나기를 바라고 달려가서 도움을 구하던 나라가 이같이 되었은즉 우리가 어찌
능히 피하리요 하리라
20:6 And those living by the sea will say in that day, See the fate of our hope to whom
we went for help and salvation from the king of Assyria: what hope have we then
of salvation?
20:6 And the inhabitant of this isle shall say in that day, Behold, such
is our expectation, where we flee for help to be delivered from the king of
Assyria: and how shall we escape?
