1:1 여호와께서 말라기로 이스라엘에게 말씀하신 경고라
1:1 The word of the Lord to Israel by Malachi.
1:1 The burden of the word of the LORD to Israel by Malachi.
1:2 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 너희를 사랑하였노라 하나 너희는 이르기를
주께서 어떻게 우리를 사랑하셨나이까 하는도다 나 여호와가 말하노라 에서는 야곱의
형이 아니냐 그러나 내가 야곱을 사랑하였고
1:2 You have been loved by me, says the Lord. But you say, Where was your love for us?
Was not Esau Jacob's brother? says the Lord: but Jacob was loved by me,
1:2 I have loved you, says the LORD. Yet all of you say, Wherein have you
loved us? Was not Esau Jacob's brother? says the LORD: yet I loved Jacob,
1:3 에서는 미워하였으며 그의 산들을 황무케 하였고 그의 산업을 광야의 시랑에게
붙였느니라
1:3 And Esau was hated, and I sent destruction on his mountains, and gave his heritage
to the beasts of the waste land.
1:3 And I hated Esau, and laid his mountains and his heritage waste for the
dragons of the wilderness.
1:4 에돔은 말하기를 우리가 무너뜨림을 당하였으나 황폐된 곳을 다시 쌓으리라
하거니와 나 만군의 여호와는 이르노라 그들은 쌓을지라도 나는 헐리라 사람들이
그들을 일컬어 악한 지경이라 할 것이요 여호와의 영영한 진노를 받은 백성이라 할
것이며
1:4 Though Edom says, We are crushed down but we will come back, building up the waste
places; this is what the Lord of armies has said: They may put up buildings, but
I will have them pulled down; and they will be named The land of evil-doing, and
The people against whom the Lord keeps his wrath for ever.
1:4 Whereas Edom says, We are impoverished, but we will return and build
the desolate places; thus says the LORD of hosts, They shall build, but I will
throw down; and they shall call them, The border of wickedness, and, The people
against whom the LORD has indignation for ever.
1:5 너희는 목도하고 이르기를 여호와께서는 이스라엘 지경 밖에서 크시다 하리라
1:5 And your eyes will see it; and you will say, The Lord is great even outside the
limits of Israel.
1:5 And your eyes shall see, and all of you shall say, The LORD will be magnified
from the border of Israel.
1:6 ○ 내 이름을 멸시하는 제사장들아 나 만군의 여호와가 너희에게 이르기를
아들은 그 아비를, 종은 그 주인을 공경하나니 내가 아비일진대 나를 공경함이 어디
있느냐 내가 주인일진대 나를 두려워함이 어디 있느냐 하나 너희는 이르기를 우리가
어떻게 주의 이름을 멸시하였나이까 하는도다
1:6 A son gives honour to his father, and a servant has fear of his master: if then
I am a father, where is my honour? and if I am a master, where is the fear of me?
says the Lord of armies to you, O priests, who give no value to my name. And you
say, How have we not given value to your name?
1:6 A son honors his father, and a servant his master: if then I be a father,
where is mine honour? and if I be a master, where is my fear? says the LORD
of hosts unto you, O priests, that despise my name. And all of you say, Wherein
have we despised your name?
1:7 너희가 더러운 떡을 나의 단에 드리고도 말하기를 우리가 어떻게 주를 더럽게
하였나이까 하는도다 이는 너희가 주의 상은 경멸히 여길 것이라 말함을 인함이니라
1:7 You put unclean bread on my altar. And you say, How have we made it unclean? By
your saying, The table of the Lord is of no value.
1:7 All of you offer polluted bread upon mine altar; and all of you say,
Wherein have we polluted you? In that all of you say, The table of the LORD
is contemptible.
1:8 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희가 눈 먼 희생으로 드리는 것이 어찌 악하지
아니하며 저는 것, 병든 것으로 드리는 것이 어찌 악하지 아니하냐 이제 그것을 너희
총독에게 드려 보라 그가 너를 기뻐하겠느냐 너를 가납하겠느냐
1:8 And when you give what is blind for an offering, it is no evil! and when you give
what is damaged and ill, it is no evil! Give it now to your ruler; will he be pleased
with you, or will you have his approval? says the Lord of armies.
1:8 And if all of you offer the blind for sacrifice, is it not evil? and
if all of you offer the lame and sick, is it not evil? offer it now unto your
governor; will he be pleased with you, or accept your person? says the LORD
of hosts.
1:9 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희는 나 하나님께 은혜를 구하기를 우리를 긍휼히
여기소서 하여 보라 너희가 이같이 행하였으니 내가 너희 중 하나인들 받겠느냐
1:9 And now, make request for the grace of God so that he may have mercy on us: this
has been your doing: will he give his approval to any of you? says the Lord of armies.
1:9 And now, I pray you, plead to God that he will be gracious unto us: this
has been by your means: will he regard your persons? says the LORD of hosts.
1:10 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희가 내 단 위에 헛되이 불사르지 못하게 하기
위하여 너희 중에 성전 문을 닫을 자가 있었으면 좋겠도다 내가 너희를 기뻐하지
아니하며 너희 손으로 드리는 것을 받지도 아니하리라
1:10 If only there was one among you who would see that the doors were shut, so that
you might not put a light to the fire on my altar for nothing! I have no pleasure
in you, says the Lord of armies, and I will not take an offering from your hands.
1:10 Who is there even among you that would shut the doors for nothing? neither
do all of you kindle fire on mine altar for nothing. I have no pleasure in you,
says the LORD of hosts, neither will I accept an offering at your hand.
1:11 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 해 뜨는 곳에서부터 해 지는 곳까지의 이방 민족
중에서 내 이름이 크게 될 것이라 각처에서 내 이름을 위하여 분향하며 깨끗한 제물을
드리리니 이는 내 이름이 이방 민족 중에서 크게 될 것임이니라
1:11 For, from the coming up of the sun till its going down, my name is great among the
Gentiles; and in every place the smell of burning flesh is offered to my name, and
a clean offering: for my name is great among the Gentiles, says the Lord of armies.
1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same
my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall
be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among
the heathen, says the LORD of hosts.
1:12 그러나 너희는 말하기를 여호와의 상은 더러웠고 그 위에 있는 실과 곧 식물은
경멸히 여길 것이라 하여 내 이름을 더럽히는도다
1:12 But you make it unholy by saying, The Lord's table has become unclean, and his food
is of no value.
1:12 But all of you have profaned it, in that all of you say, The table of
the LORD is polluted; and the fruit thereof, even his food, is contemptible.
1:13 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희가 또 말하기를 이 일이 얼마나 번폐스러운고
하며 코웃음하고 토색한 물건과 저는 것 병든 것을 가져왔느니라 너희가 이같이 헌물을
가져오니 내가 그것을 너희 손에서 받겠느냐 여호와의 말이니라
1:13 And you say, See, what a weariness it is! and you let out your breath at it, says
the Lord of armies; and you have given what has been cut about by beasts, and what
is damaged in its feet and ill; this is the offering you give: will this be pleasing
to me from your hands? says the Lord.
1:13 All of you said also, Behold, what a weariness is it! and all of you
have snuffed at it, says the LORD of hosts; and all of you brought that which
was torn, and the lame, and the sick; thus all of you brought an offering: should
I accept this of your hand? says the LORD.
1:14 떼 가운데 수컷이 있거늘 그 서원하는 일에 흠 있는 것으로 사기하여 내게
드리는 자는 저주를 받으리니 나는 큰 임금이요 내 이름은 열방 중에서 두려워하는
것이 됨이니라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
1:14 A curse on the false man who has a male in his flock, and takes his oath, and gives
to the Lord a damaged thing: for I am a great King, says the Lord of armies, and
my name is to be feared among the Gentiles.
1:14 But cursed be the deceiver, which has in his flock a male, and vows,
and sacrifices unto the LORD a corrupt thing: for I am a great King, says the
LORD of hosts, and my name is dreadful among the heathen.
2:1 너의 제사장들아 이제 너희에게 이같이 명령하노라
2:1 And now, O you priests, this order is for you.
2:1 And now, O all of you priests, this commandment is for you.
2:2 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희가 만일 듣지 아니하며 마음에 두지 아니하여
내 이름을 영화롭게 하지 아니하면 내가 너희에게 저주를 내려 너희의 복을 저주하리라
내가 이미 저주하였나니 이는 너희가 그것을 마음에 두지 아니하였음이니라
2:2 If you will not give ear and take it to heart, to give glory to my name, says the
Lord of armies, then I will send the curse on you and will put a curse on your blessing:
truly, even now I have put a curse on it, because you do not take it to heart.
2:2 If all of you will not hear, and if all of you will not lay it to heart,
to give glory unto my name, says the LORD of hosts, I will even send a curse
upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already,
because all of you do not lay it to heart.
2:3 보라 내가 너희의 종자를 견책할 것이요 똥 곧 너희 절기의 희생의 똥을
너희 얼굴에 바를 것이라 너희가 그것과 함께 제하여 버림을 당하리라
2:3 See, I will have your arm cut off, and will put waste on your faces, even the waste
from your feasts; and you will be taken away with it.
2:3 Behold, I will corrupt your seed, and spread dung upon your faces, even
the dung of your solemn feasts; and one shall take you away with it.
2:4 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 내가 이 명령을 너희에게 내린 것은 레위와 세운
나의 언약이 항상 있게 하려 함인 줄을 너희가 알리라
2:4 And you will be certain that I have sent this order to you, so that it might be
my agreement with Levi, says the Lord of armies.
2:4 And all of you shall know that I have sent this commandment unto you,
that my covenant might be with Levi, says the LORD of hosts.
2:5 레위와 세운 나의 언약은 생명과 평강의 언약이라 내가 이것으로 그에게 준
것은 그로 경외하게 하려 함이라 그가 나를 경외하고 내 이름을 두려워하였으며
2:5 My agreement with him was on my side life and peace, and I gave them to him; on
his side fear, and he had fear of me and gave honour to my name.
2:5 My covenant was with him of life and peace; and I gave them to him for
the fear wherewith he feared me, and was afraid before my name.
2:6 그 입에는 진리의 법이 있었고 그 입술에는 불의함이 없었으며 그가 화평과
정직한 중에서 나와 동행하며 많은 사람을 돌이켜 죄악에서 떠나게 하였느니라
2:6 True teaching was in his mouth, and no evil was seen on his lips: he was walking
with me in peace and righteousness, turning numbers of people away from evil-doing.
2:6 The law of truth was in his mouth, and iniquity was not found in his
lips: he walked with me in peace and equity, and did turn many away from iniquity.
2:7 대저 제사장의 입술은 지식을 지켜야 하겠고 사람들이 그 입에서 율법을 구하게
되어야 할 것이니 제사장은 만군의 여호와의 사자가 됨이어늘
2:7 For it is right for the priest's lips to keep knowledge, and for men to be waiting
for the law from his mouth: for he is the servant sent from the Lord of armies.
2:7 For the priest's lips should keep knowledge, and they should seek the
law at his mouth: for he is the messenger of the LORD of hosts.
2:8 너희는 정도에서 떠나 많은 사람으로 율법에 거치게 하도다 나 만군의 여호와가
이르노니 너희가 레위의 언약을 파하였느니라
2:8 But you are turned out of the way; you have made the law hard for numbers of people;
you have made the agreement of Levi of no value, says the Lord of armies.
2:8 But all of you are departed out of the way; all of you have caused many
to stumble at the law; all of you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, says
the LORD of hosts.
2:9 너희가 내 도를 지키지 아니하고 율법을 행할 때에 사람에게 편벽되이 하였으므로
나도 너희로 모든 백성 앞에 멸시와 천대를 당하게 하였느니라 하시니라
2:9 And so I have taken away your honour and made you low before all the people, even
as you have not kept my ways, and have given no thought to me in using the law.
2:9 Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people,
according as all of you have not kept my ways, but have been partial in the
law.
2:10 ○ 우리는 한 아버지를 가지지 아니하였느냐 한 하나님의 지으신 바가 아니냐
어찌하여 우리 각 사람이 자기 형제에게 궤사를 행하여 우리 열조의 언약을 욕되게
하느냐
2:10 Have we not all one father? has not one God made us? why are we, every one of us,
acting falsely to his brother, putting shame on the agreement of our fathers?
2:10 Have we not all one father? has not one God created us? why do we deal
treacherously every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our
fathers?
2:11 유다는 궤사를 행하였고 이스라엘과 예루살렘 중에서는 가증한 일을 행하였으며
유다는 여호와의 사랑하시는 그 성결을 욕되게 하여 이방 신의 딸과 결혼하였으니
2:11 Judah has been acting falsely, and a disgusting thing has been done in Jerusalem;
for Judah has made unclean the holy place of the Lord which is dear to him, and
has taken as his wife the daughter of a strange god.
2:11 Judah has dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel
and in Jerusalem; for Judah has profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loved,
and has married the daughter of a strange god.
2:12 이 일을 행하는 사람에게 속한 자는 깨는 자나 응답하는 자는 물론이요 만군의
여호와께 제사를 드리는 자도 여호와께서 야곱의 장막 가운데서 끊어 버리시리라
2:12 The Lord will have the man who does this cut off root and branch out of the tents
of Jacob, and him who makes an offering to the Lord of armies.
2:12 The LORD will cut off the man that does this, the master and the scholar,
out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offers an offering unto the LORD
of hosts.
2:13 너희가 이런 일도 행하나니 곧 눈물과 울음과 탄식으로 여호와의 단을 가리우게
하도다 그러므로 여호와께서 다시는 너희의 헌물을 돌아보지도 아니하시며 그것을
너희 손에서 기꺼이 받지도 아니하시거늘
2:13 And this again you do: covering the altar of the Lord with weeping and with grief,
so that he gives no more thought to the offering, and does not take it with pleasure
from your hand.
2:13 And this have all of you done again, covering the altar of the LORD
with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regards not
the offering any more, or receives it with good will at your hand.
2:14 너희는 이르기를 어찜이니까 하는도다 이는 너와 너의 어려서 취한 아내
사이에 여호와께서 일찌기 증거하셨음을 인함이니라 그는 네 짝이요 너와 맹약한
아내로되 네가 그에게 궤사를 행하도다
2:14 But you say, For what reason? Because the Lord has been a witness between you and
the wife of your early years, to whom you have been untrue, though she is your friend
and the wife to whom you have given your word.
2:14 Yet all of you say, Wherefore? Because the LORD has been witness between
you and the wife of your youth, against whom you have dealt treacherously: yet
is she your companion, and the wife of your covenant.
2:15 여호와는 영이 유여하실지라도 오직 하나를 짓지 아니하셨느냐 어찌하여
하나만 지으셨느냐 이는 경건한 자손을 얻고자 하심이니라 그러므로 네 심령을 삼가
지켜 어려서 취한 아내에게 궤사를 행치 말지니라
2:15 ... So give thought to your spirit, and let no one be false to the wife of his early
years.
2:15 And did not he make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore
one? That he might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and
let none deal treacherously against the wife of his youth.
2:16 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와가 이르노니 나는 이혼하는 것과 학대로 옷을 가리우는
자를 미워하노라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라 그러므로 너희 심령을 삼가 지켜 궤사를
행치 말지니라
2:16 For I am against the putting away of a wife, says the Lord, the God of Israel, and
against him who is clothed with violent acts, says the Lord of armies: so give thought
to your spirit and do not be false in your acts.
2:16 For the LORD, the God of Israel, says that he hates putting away: for
one covers violence with his garment, says the LORD of hosts: therefore take
heed to your spirit, that all of you deal not treacherously.
2:17 너희가 말로 여호와를 괴로우시게 하고도 이르기를 우리가 어떻게 여호와를
괴로우시게 하였나 하는도다 이는 너희가 말하기를 모든 행악하는 자는 여호와의
눈에 선히 보이며 그에게 기쁨이 된다 하며 또 말하기를 공의의 하나님이 어디 계시냐
함이니라
2:17 You have made the Lord tired with your words. And still you say, How have we made
him tired? By your saying, Everyone who does evil is good in the eyes of the Lord,
and he has delight in them; or, Where is God the judge?
2:17 All of you have wearied the LORD with your words. Yet all of you say,
Wherein have we wearied him? When all of you say, Every one that does evil is
good in the sight of the LORD, and he delights in them; or, Where is the God
of judgment?
3:1 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 보라 내가 내 사자를 보내리니 그가 내 앞에서
길을 예비할 것이요 또 너희의 구하는 바 주가 홀연히 그 전에 임하리니 곧 너희의
사모하는 바 언약의 사자가 임할 것이라
3:1 See, I am sending my servant, and he will make ready the way before me; and the
Lord, whom you are looking for, will suddenly come to his Temple; and the angel
of the agreement, in whom you have delight, see, he is coming, says the Lord of
armies.
3:1 Behold, I will send my messenger, and he shall prepare the way before
me: and the LORD, whom all of you seek, shall suddenly come to his temple, even
the messenger of the covenant, whom all of you delight in: behold, he shall
come, says the LORD of hosts.
3:2 그의 임하는 날을 누가 능히 당하며 그의 나타나는 때에 누가 능히 서리요
그는 금을 연단하는 자의 불과 표백하는 자의 잿물과 같을 것이라
3:2 But by whom may the day of his coming be faced? and who may keep his place when
he is seen? for he is like the metal-tester's fire and the cleaner's soap.
3:2 But who may abide the day of his coming? and who shall stand when he
appears? for he is like a refiner's fire, and like fullers' soap:
3:3 그가 은을 연단하여 깨끗케 하는 자 같이 앉아서 레위 자손을 깨끗케 하되
금 은 같이 그들을 연단하리니 그들이 의로운 제물을 나 여호와께 드릴 것이라
3:3 He will take his seat, testing and cleaning the sons of Levi, burning away the evil
from them as from gold and silver; so that they may make offerings to the Lord in
righteousness.
3:3 And he shall sit as a refiner and purifier of silver: and he shall purify
the sons of Levi, and purge them as gold and silver, that they may offer unto
the LORD an offering in righteousness.
3:4 그 때에 유다와 예루살렘의 헌물이 옛날과 고대와 같이 나 여호와께 기쁨이 되려니와
3:4 Then the offering of Judah and Jerusalem will be pleasing to the Lord, as in days
gone by, and as in past years.
3:4 Then shall the offering of Judah and Jerusalem be pleasant unto the LORD,
as in the days of old, and as in former years.
3:5 내가 심판하러 너희에게 임할 것이라 술수하는 자에게와 간음하는 자에게와
거짓 맹세하는 자에게와 품군의 삯에 대하여 억울케 하며 과부와 고아를 압제하며
나그네를 억울케 하며 나를 경외치 아니하는 자들에게 속히 증거하리라 만군의 여호와가
말하였느니라
3:5 And I will come near to you for judging; I will quickly be a witness against the
wonder-workers, against those who have been untrue in married life, against those
who take false oaths; against those who keep back from the servant his payment,
and who are hard on the widow and the child without a father, who do not give his
rights to the man from a strange country, and have no fear of me, says the Lord
of armies.
3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness
against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers,
and against those that oppress the worker in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless,
and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, says the LORD
of hosts.
3:6 나 여호와는 변역지 아니하나니 그러므로 야곱의 자손들아 너희가 소멸되지
아니하느니라
3:6 For I am the Lord, I am unchanged; and so you, O sons of Jacob, have not been cut
off.
3:6 For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore all of you sons of Jacob are
not consumed.
3:7 ○ 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희 열조의 날로부터 너희가 나의 규례를 떠나
지키지 아니하였도다 그런즉 내게로 돌아오라 그리하면 나도 너희에게로 돌아가리라
하였더니 너희가 이르기를 우리가 어떻게 하여야 돌아가리이까 하도다
3:7 From the days of your fathers you have been turned away from my rules and have not
kept them. Come back to me, and I will come back to you, says the Lord of armies.
But you say, How are we to come back?
3:7 Even from the days of your fathers all of you are gone away from mine
ordinances, and have not kept them. Return unto me, and I will return unto you,
says the LORD of hosts. But all of you said, Wherein shall we return?
3:8 사람이 어찌 하나님의 것을 도적질하겠느냐 그러나 너희는 나의 것을 도적질하고도
말하기를 우리가 어떻게 주의 것을 도적질하였나이까 하도다 이는 곧 십일조와 헌물이라
3:8 Will a man keep back from God what is right? But you have kept back what is mine.
But you say, What have we kept back from you? Tenths and offerings.
3:8 Will a man rob God? Yet all of you have robbed me. But all of you say,
Wherein have we robbed you? In tithes and offerings.
3:9 너희 곧 온 나라가 나의 것을 도적질하였으므로 너희가 저주를 받았느니라
3:9 You are cursed with a curse; for you have kept back from me what is mine, even all
this nation.
3:9 All of you are cursed with a curse: for all of you have robbed me, even
this whole nation.
3:10 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 너희의 온전한 십일조를 창고에 들여 나의 집에
양식이 있게 하고 그것으로 나를 시험하여 내가 하늘 문을 열고 너희에게 복을 쌓을
곳이 없도록 붓지 아니하나 보라
3:10 Let your tenths come into the store-house so that there may be food in my house,
and put me to the test by doing so, says the Lord of armies, and see if I do not
make the windows of heaven open and send down such a blessing on you that there
is no room for it.
3:10 Bring all of you all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may
be food in mine house, and prove me now herewith, says the LORD of hosts, if
I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that
there shall not be room enough to receive it.
3:11 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 내가 너희를 위하여 황충을 금하여 너희 토지
소산을 멸하지 않게 하며 너희 밭에 포도나무의 과실로 기한 전에 떨어지지 않게 하리니
3:11 And on your account I will keep back the locusts from wasting the fruits of your
land; and the fruit of your vine will not be dropped on the field before its time,
says the Lord of armies
3:11 And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy
the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the
time in the field, says the LORD of hosts.
3:12 너희 땅이 아름다와지므로 열방이 너희를 복되다 하리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
3:12 And you will be named happy by all nations: for you will be a land of delight, says
the Lord of armies.
3:12 And all nations shall call you blessed: for all of you shall be a delightsome
land, says the LORD of hosts.
3:13 ○ 여호와가 이르노라 너희가 완악한 말로 나를 대적하고도 이르기를 우리가
무슨 말로 주를 대적하였나이까 하는도다
3:13 Your words have been strong against me, says the Lord. And still you say, What have
we said against you?
3:13 Your words have been stout against me, says the LORD. Yet all of you
say, What have we spoken so much against you?
3:14 이는 너희가 말하기를 하나님을 섬기는 것이 헛되니 만군의 여호와 앞에
그 명령을 지키며 슬프게 행하는 것이 무엇이 유익하리요
3:14 You have said, It is no use worshipping God: what profit have we had from keeping
his orders, and going in clothing of sorrow before the Lord of armies?
3:14 All of you have said, It is vain to serve God: and what profit is it
that we have kept his ordinance, and that we have walked mournfully before the
LORD of hosts?
3:15 지금 우리는 교만한 자가 복되다 하며 악을 행하는 자가 창성하며 하나님을
시험하는 자가 화를 면한다 하노라 함이니라
3:15 And now to us the men of pride seem happy; yes, the evil-doers are doing well; they
put God to the test and are safe.
3:15 And now we call the proud happy; yea, they that work wickedness are
set up; yea, they that tempt God are even delivered.
3:16 ○ 그 때에 여호와를 경외하는 자들이 피차에 말하매 여호와께서 그것을
분명히 들으시고 여호와를 경외하는 자와 그 이름을 존중히 생각하는 자를 위하여
여호와 앞에 있는 기념책에 기록하셨느니라
3:16 Then those in whom was the fear of the Lord had talk together: and the Lord gave
ear, and it was recorded in a book to be kept in mind before him, for those who
had the fear of the Lord and gave thought to his name.
3:16 Then they that feared the LORD spoke often one to another: and the LORD
hearkened, and heard it, and a book of remembrance was written before him for
them that feared the LORD, and that thought upon his name.
3:17 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 내가 나의 정한 날에 그들로 나의 특별한 소유를
삼을 것이요 또 사람이 자기를 섬기는 아들을 아낌 같이 내가 그들을 아끼리니
3:17 And they will be mine, says the Lord, in the day when I make them my special property;
and I will have mercy on them as a man has mercy on his son who is his servant.
3:17 And they shall be mine, says the LORD of hosts, in that day when I make
up my jewels; and I will spare them, as a man spares his own son that serves
him.
3:18 그 때에 너희가 돌아와서 의인과 악인이며 하나님을 섬기는 자와 섬기지
아니하는 자를 분별하리라
3:18 Then you will again see how the upright man is different from the sinner, and the
servant of God from him who is not.
3:18 Then shall all of you return, and discern between the righteous and
the wicked, between him that serves God and him that serves him not.
4:1 만군의 여호와가 이르노라 보라 극렬한 풀무불 같은 날이 이르리니 교만한
자와 악을 행하는 자는 다 초개 같을 것이라 그 이르는 날이 그들을 살라 그 뿌리와
가지를 남기지 아니할 것이로되
4:1 For see, the day is coming, it is burning like an oven; all the men of pride and
all who do evil will be dry stems of grass: and in the day which is coming they
will be burned up, says the Lord of armies, till they have not a root or a branch.
4:1 For, behold, the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud,
yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall
burn them up, says the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root
nor branch.
4:2 내 이름을 경외하는 너희에게는 의로운 해가 떠올라서 치료하는 광선을 발하리니
너희가 나가서 외양간에서 나온 송아지 같이 뛰리라
4:2 But to you who give worship to my name, the sun of righteousness will come up with
new life in its wings; and you will go out, playing like young oxen full of food.
4:2 But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with
healing in his wings; and all of you shall go forth, and grow up as calves of
the stall.
4:3 또 너희가 악인을 밟을 것이니 그들이 나의 정한 날에 너희 발바닥 밑에 재와
같으리라 만군의 여호와의 말이니라
4:3 And the evil-doers will be crushed under you, they will be dust under your feet,
in the day when I do my work, says the Lord of armies.
4:3 And all of you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under
the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the LORD of hosts.
4:4 ○ 너희는 내가 호렙에서 온 이스라엘을 위하여 내 종 모세에게 명한 법 곧
율례와 법도를 기억하라
4:4 Keep in mind the law of Moses, my servant, which I gave him in Horeb for all Israel,
even the rules and the decisions.
4:4 Remember all of you the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto
him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments.
4:5 보라 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 내가 선지 엘리야를 너희에게
보내리니
4:5 See, I am sending you Elijah the prophet before the day of the Lord comes, that
great day, greatly to be feared.
4:5 Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great
and dreadful day of the LORD:
4:6 그가 아비의 마음을 자녀에게로 돌이키게 하고 자녀들의 마음을 그들의 아비에게로
돌이키게 하리라 돌이키지 아니하면 두렵건대 내가 와서 저주로 그 땅을 칠까 하노라
하시니라
4:6 And by him the hearts of fathers will be turned to their children, and the hearts
of children to their fathers; for fear that I may come and put the earth under a
curse.
4:6 And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart
of the children to their fathers, lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.
