11:1 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ¿­ µÎ Á¦ÀÚ¿¡°Ô ¸íÇϽñ⸦ ¸¶Ä¡½Ã°í ÀÌ¿¡ ÀúÈñ ¿©·¯ µ¿³×¿¡¼­ °¡¸£Ä¡½Ã¸ç ÀüµµÇϽ÷Á°í °Å±â¸¦ ¶°³ª °¡½Ã´Ï¶ó
11:1 And it came about that when Jesus had come to the end of giving these orders to his twelve disciples, he went away from there, teaching and preaching in their towns.
11:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had made an end of commanding his twelve disciples, he departed thence to teach and to preach in their cities.

11:2 Now when John had news in prison of the works of the Christ, he sent his disciples
11:2 Now when John had heard in the prison the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples,

11:3 To say to him, Are you he who is to come, or are we waiting for another?
11:3 And said unto him, Are you he that should come, or do we look for another?

11:4 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© °¡¶ó»ç´ë ³ÊÈñ°¡ °¡¼­ µè°í º¸´Â °ÍÀ» ¿äÇÑ¿¡°Ô °íÇϵÇ
11:4 And Jesus, answering, said to them, Go and give news to John of the things which you are seeing and hearing:
11:4 Jesus answered and said unto them, Go and show John again those things which all of you do hear and see:

11:5 ¼Ò°æÀÌ º¸¸ç ¾ÉÀº¹ðÀÌ°¡ °ÉÀ¸¸ç ¹®µÕÀÌ°¡ ±ú²ýÇÔÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸¸ç ±Í¸Ó°Å¸®°¡ µéÀ¸¸ç Á×Àº ÀÚ°¡ »ì¾Æ³ª¸ç °¡³­ÇÑ ÀÚ¿¡°Ô º¹À½ÀÌ ÀüÆĵȴ٠Ç϶ó
11:5 The blind see; those who were not able to, are walking; lepers are made clean; those who were without hearing, now have their ears open; the dead come to life again, and the poor have the good news given to them.
11:5 The blind receive their sight, and the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, and the deaf hear, the dead are raised up, and the poor have the gospel preached to them.

11:6 And a blessing will be on him who has no doubts about me.
11:6 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

11:7 ÀúÈñ°¡ ¶°³ª¸Å ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ¹«¸®¿¡°Ô ¿äÇÑ¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¸»¾¸ÇÏ½ÃµÇ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¹«¾ùÀ» º¸·Á°í ±¤¾ß¿¡ ³ª°¬´õ³Ä ¹Ù¶÷¿¡ Èçµé¸®´Â °¥´ë³Ä
11:7 And when they were going away, Jesus, talking of John, said to all the people, What went you out into the waste land to see? a tall stem moving in the wind?
11:7 And as they departed, Jesus began to say unto the multitudes concerning John, What went all of you out into the wilderness to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

11:8 ±×·¯¸é ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¹«¾ùÀ» º¸·Á°í ³ª°¬´õ³Ä ºÎµå·¯¿î ¿Ê ÀÔÀº »ç¶÷ÀÌ³Ä ºÎµå·¯¿î ¿ÊÀ» ÀÔÀº ÀÚµéÀº ¿Õ±Ã¿¡ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
11:8 But what went you out to see? a man delicately clothed? Those who have fair robes are in kings' houses.
11:8 But what went all of you out in order to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? behold, they that wear soft clothing are in kings' houses.

11:9 But why did you go out? to see a prophet? Yes, I say to you, and more than a prophet.
11:9 But what went all of you out in order to see? A prophet? yea, I say unto you, and more than a prophet.

11:10 This is he of whom it has been said, See, I send my servant before your face, who will make ready your way before you.
11:10 For this is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

11:11 Truly I say to you, Among the sons of women there has not been a greater than John the Baptist: but he who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.
11:11 Verily I say unto you, Among them that are born of women there has not risen a greater than John the Baptist: notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.

11:12 ¼¼·Ê ¿äÇÑÀÇ ¶§ºÎÅÍ Áö±Ý±îÁö õ±¹Àº ħ³ë¸¦ ´çÇϳª´Ï ħ³ëÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â »©¾Ñ´À´Ï¶ó
11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist till now, the kingdom of heaven is forcing its way in, and men of force take it.
11:12 And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffers violence, and the violent take it by force.

11:13 ¸ðµç ¼±ÁöÀÚ¿Í ¹× À²¹ýÀÇ ¿¹¾ðÇÑ °ÍÀÌ ¿äÇѱîÁö´Ï
11:13 For all the prophets and the law were in force till John.
11:13 For all the prophets and the law prophesied until John.

11:14 And if you are able to see it, this is Elijah who was to come.
11:14 And if all of you will receive it, this is Elijah, which was in order to come.

11:15 He who has ears, let him give ear.
11:15 He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

11:16 But what comparison may I make of this generation? It is like children seated in the market-places, crying out to one another,
11:16 But unto which shall I liken this generation? It is like unto children sitting in the markets, and calling unto their fellows,

11:17 We made music for you and you did not take part in the dance; we gave cries of sorrow and you made no signs of grief.
11:17 And saying, We have piped unto you, and all of you have not danced; we have mourned unto you, and all of you have not lamented.

11:18 ¿äÇÑÀÌ ¿Í¼­ ¸ÔÁöµµ ¾Ê°í ¸¶½ÃÁöµµ ¾Æ´ÏÇϸŠÀúÈñ°¡ ¸»Çϱ⸦ ±Í½ÅÀÌ µé·È´Ù ÇÏ´õ´Ï
11:18 For John came, taking no food or drink, and they say, He has an evil spirit.
11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, He has a devil.

11:19 ÀÎÀÚ´Â ¿Í¼­ ¸Ô°í ¸¶½Ã¸Å ¸»Çϱ⸦ º¸¶ó ¸Ô±â¸¦ ŽÇÏ°í Æ÷µµÁÖ¸¦ Áñ±â´Â »ç¶÷ÀÌ¿ä ¼¼¸®¿Í ÁËÀÎÀÇ Ä£±¸·Î´Ù ÇÏ´Ï ÁöÇý´Â ±× ÇàÇÑ ÀÏ·Î ÀÎÇÏ¿© ¿Ç´Ù ÇÔÀ» ¾ò´À´Ï¶ó
11:19 The Son of man has come feasting, and they say, See, a lover of food and wine, a friend of tax-farmers and sinners! And wisdom is judged to be right by her works.
11:19 The Son of man came eating and drinking, and they say, Behold a man gluttonous, and a wine indulger, a friend of publicans and sinners. But wisdom is justified of her children.

11:20 ¡Û ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ±Ç´ÉÀ» °¡Àå ¸¹ÀÌ º£Çª½Å °íÀ»µéÀÌ È¸°³Ä¡ ¾Æ´ÏÇϹǷΠ±×¶§¿¡ Ã¥¸ÁÇϽõÇ
11:20 Then he went on to say hard things to the towns where most of his works of power were done, because they had not been turned from their sins.
11:20 Then began he to reproach the cities wherein most of his mighty works were done, because they repented not:

11:21 Unhappy are you, Chorazin! Unhappy are you, Beth-saida! For if the works of power which were done in you had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have been turned from their sins in days gone by, clothing themselves in haircloth and putting dust on their heads.
11:21 Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works, which were done in you, had been done in Tyre and Sidon, they would have repented long ago in sackcloth and ashes.

11:22 ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô À̸£³ë´Ï ½ÉÆÇ ³¯¿¡ µÎ·Î¿Í ½Ãµ·ÀÌ ³ÊÈñº¸´Ù °ßµð±â ½¬¿ì¸®¶ó
11:22 But I say to you, It will be better for Tyre and Sidon in the day of judging, than for you.
11:22 But I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the day of judgment, than for you.

11:23 °¡¹ö³ª¿ò¾Æ ³×°¡ Çϴÿ¡±îÁö ³ô¾ÆÁö°Ú´À³Ä À½ºÎ¿¡±îÁö ³·¾ÆÁö¸®¶ó ³×°Ô¼­ ÇàÇÑ ¸ðµç ±Ç´ÉÀ» ¼Òµ¼¿¡¼­ ÇàÇÏ¿´´õ¸é ±× ¼ºÀÌ ¿À´Ã³¯±îÁö ÀÖ¾úÀ¸¸®¶ó
11:23 And you, Capernaum, were you not to be lifted up to heaven? you will go down into hell: for if the works of power which were done in you had been done in Sodom, it would have been here to this day.
11:23 And you, Capernaum, which are exalted unto heaven, shall be brought down to hell: for if the mighty works, which have been done in you, had been done in Sodom, it would have remained until this day.

11:24 ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô À̸£³ë´Ï ½ÉÆÇ ³¯¿¡ ¼Òµ¼ ¶¥ÀÌ ³Êº¸´Ù °ßµð±â ½¬¿ì¸®¶ó ÇϽô϶ó
11:24 But I say to you that it will be better for the land of Sodom in the day of judging, than for you.
11:24 But I say unto you, That it shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom in the day of judgment, than for you.

11:25 ¡Û ±×¶§¿¡ ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© °¡¶ó»ç´ë õÁöÀÇ ÁÖÀçÀ̽Š¾Æ¹öÁö¿© ÀÌ°ÍÀ» ÁöÇý·Ó°í ½½±â ÀÖ´Â Àڵ鿡°Ô´Â ¼û±â½Ã°í ¾î¸° ¾ÆÀ̵鿡°Ô´Â ³ªÅ¸³»½ÉÀ» °¨»çÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
11:25 At that time Jesus made answer and said, I give praise to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children.
11:25 At that time Jesus answered and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes.

11:26 ¿Ç¼ÒÀÌ´Ù ÀÌ·¸°Ô µÈ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ ¶æÀÌ´ÏÀÌ´Ù
11:26 Yes, Father, for so it was pleasing in your eyes.
11:26 Even so, Father: for so it seemed good in your sight.

11:27 All things have been given to me by my Father; and no one has knowledge of the Son, but the Father; and no one has knowledge of the Father, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will make it clear.
11:27 All things are delivered unto me of my Father: and no man knows the Son, but the Father; neither knows any man the Father, save the Son, and he to whomsoever the Son will reveal him.

11:28 ¼ö°íÇÏ°í ¹«°Å¿î Áü Áø ÀÚµé¾Æ ´Ù ³»°Ô·Î ¿À¶ó ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ½¬°Ô Çϸ®¶ó
11:28 Come to me, all you who are troubled and weighted down with care, and I will give you rest.
11:28 Come unto me, all you that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

11:29 ³ª´Â ¸¶À½ÀÌ ¿ÂÀ¯ÇÏ°í °â¼ÕÇÏ´Ï ³ªÀÇ ¸Û¿¡¸¦ ¸Þ°í ³»°Ô ¹è¿ì¶ó ±×·¯¸é ³ÊÈñ ¸¶À½ÀÌ ½°À» ¾òÀ¸¸®´Ï
11:29 Take my yoke on you and become like me, for I am gentle and without pride, and you will have rest for your souls;
11:29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and all of you shall find rest unto your souls.

11:30 For my yoke is good, and the weight I take up is not hard.
11:30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

12:1 At that time Jesus went through the fields on the Sabbath day; and his disciples, being in need of food, were taking the heads of grain.
12:1 At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungered, and began to pluck the ears of corn and to eat.

12:2 ¹Ù¸®»õÀεéÀÌ º¸°í ¿¹¼ö²² °íÇ쵂 º¸½Ã¿À ´ç½ÅÀÇ Á¦ÀÚµéÀÌ ¾È½ÄÀÏ¿¡ ÇÏÁö ¸øÇÒ ÀÏÀ» ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
12:2 But the Pharisees, when they saw it, said to him, See, your disciples do that which it is not right to do on the Sabbath.
12:2 But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, your disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day.

12:3 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ °¡¶ó»ç´ë ´ÙÀ­ÀÌ ÀÚ±â¿Í ±× ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ÀÚµéÀÌ ½ÃÀåÇÒ ¶§¿¡ ÇÑ ÀÏÀ» ÀÐÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´´À³Ä
12:3 But he said to them, Have you no knowledge of what David did when he had need of food, and those who were with him?
12:3 But he said unto them, Have all of you not read what David did, when he was an hungered, and they that were with him;

12:4 ±×°¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ Àü¿¡ µé¾î°¡¼­ Á¦»çÀå ¿Ü¿¡´Â Àڱ⳪ ±× ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ÀÚµéÀÌ ¸ÔÁö ¸øÇÏ´Â Áø¼³º´À» ¸ÔÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´À³Ä
12:4 How he went into the house of God and took for food the holy bread which it was not right for him or for those who were with him to take, but only for the priests?
12:4 How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the showbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests?

12:5 ¶Ç ¾È½ÄÀÏ¿¡ Á¦»çÀåµéÀÌ ¼ºÀü ¾È¿¡¼­ ¾È½ÄÀ» ¹üÇÏ¿©µµ ÁË°¡ ¾øÀ½À» ³ÊÈñ°¡ À²¹ý¿¡¼­ ÀÐÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´´À³Ä
12:5 Or is it not said in the law, how the Sabbath is broken by the priests in the Temple and they do no wrong?
12:5 Or have all of you not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless?

12:6 But I say to you that a greater thing than the Temple is here.
12:6 But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple.

12:7 ³ª´Â ÀÚºñ¸¦ ¿øÇÏ°í Á¦»ç¸¦ ¿øÄ¡ ¾Æ´ÏÇϳë¶ó ÇϽŠ¶æÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Ë¾Ò´õ¸é ¹«ÁËÇÑ ÀÚ¸¦ ÁË·Î Á¤Ä¡ ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´À¸¸®¶ó
12:7 But if these words had been in your minds, My desire is for mercy and not for offerings, you would not have been judging those who have done no wrong.
12:7 But if all of you had known what this means, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, all of you would not have condemned the guiltless.

12:8 For the Son of man is lord of the Sabbath.
12:8 For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day.

12:9 And he went from there into their Synagogue:
12:9 And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

12:10 ÇÑÆí ¼Õ ¸¶¸¥ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ÀÖ´ÂÁö¶ó »ç¶÷µéÀÌ ¿¹¼ö¸¦ ¼Û»çÇÏ·Á ÇÏ¿© ¹°¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ¾È½ÄÀÏ¿¡ º´ °íÄ¡´Â °ÍÀÌ ¿ÇÀ¸´ÏÀ̱î
12:10 And there was a man with a dead hand. And they put a question to him, saying, Is it right to make a man well on the Sabbath day? so that they might have something against him.
12:10 And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him.

12:11 And he said to them, Which of you, having a sheep, if it gets into a hole on the Sabbath day, will not put out a helping hand and get it back?
12:11 And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out?

12:12 »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¾çº¸´Ù ¾ó¸¶³ª ´õ ±ÍÇÏ³Ä ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ¾È½ÄÀÏ¿¡ ¼±À» ÇàÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¿ÇÀ¸´Ï¶ó ÇϽðí
12:12 Of how much more value is a man than a sheep! For this reason it is right to do good on the Sabbath day.
12:12 How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days.

12:20 The crushed stem will not be broken by him; and the feebly burning light will he not put out, till he has made righteousness overcome all.
12:20 A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory.

12:24 But the Pharisees, hearing of it, said, This man only sends evil spirits out of men by Beelzebub, the ruler of evil spirits.

13:6 And when the sun was high, it was burned; and because it had no root it became dry and dead.
13:6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

13:7 And some seeds went among thorns, and the thorns came up and they had no room for growth:
13:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

13:8 And some, falling on good earth, gave fruit, some a hundred, some sixty, some thirty times as much.
13:8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

13:10 And the disciples came and said to him, Why do you say things to them in the form of stories?
13:10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speak you unto them in parables?

13:11 And he said to them in answer, To you is given the knowledge of the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.
13:11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

13:12 Because whoever has, to him will be given, and he will have more; but from him who has not, even what he has will be taken away.
13:12 For whosoever has, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever has not, from him shall be taken away even that he has.

13:13 For this reason I put things into the form of stories; because they see without seeing, and give ear without hearing, and the sense is not clear to them.
13:13 Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

13:14 And for them the words of Isaiah have come true, Though you give ear, you will not get knowledge; and seeing, you will see, but the sense will not be clear to you:
13:14 And in them is fulfilled the prophecy of Isaiah, which says, By hearing all of you shall hear, and shall not understand; and seeing all of you shall see, and shall not perceive:

13:15 For the heart of this people has become fat and their ears are slow in hearing and their eyes are shut; for fear that they might see with their eyes and give hearing with their ears and become wise in their hearts and be turned again to me, so that I might make them well.
13:15 For this people's heart is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes they have closed; lest at any time they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, and should understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

13:16 But a blessing be on your eyes, because they see; and on your ears, because they are open.

13:17 For truly, I say to you that prophets and upright men had a desire to see the things which you see, and saw them not; and to have knowledge of the words which have come to your ears, and they had it not.
13:17 For verily I say unto you, That many prophets and righteous men have desired to see those things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which all of you hear, and have not heard them.

13:18 Give ear, then, to the story of the man who put the seed in the earth.
13:18 Hear all of you therefore the parable of the sower.

13:19 When the word of the kingdom comes to anyone, and the sense of it is not clear to him, then the Evil One comes, and quickly takes away that which was put in his heart. He is the seed dropped by the wayside.
13:19 When any one hears the word (o. logos) of the kingdom, and understands it not, then comes the wicked one, and catches away that which was sown in his heart. This is he which received seed by the way side.

13:20 µ¹¹ç¿¡ »Ñ¸®¿ü´Ù´Â °ÍÀº ¸»¾¸À» µè°í Áï½Ã ±â»ÝÀ¸·Î ¹ÞµÇ
13:20 And that which went on the stones, this is he who, hearing the word, straight away takes it with joy;
13:20 But he that received the seed into stony places, the same is he that hears the word, (o. logos) and soon with joy receives it;

13:21 But having no root in himself, he goes on for a time; and when trouble comes or pain, because of the word, he quickly becomes full of doubts.
13:21 Yet has he not root in himself, but endures for a while: for when tribulation or persecution arises because of the word, (o. logos) by and by he is offended.

13:22 And that which was dropped among the thorns, this is he who has the word; and the cares of this life, and the deceits of wealth, put a stop to the growth of the word and it gives no fruit.
13:22 He also that received seed among the thorns is he that hears the word; (o. logos) and the care of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, choke the word, (o. logos) and he becomes unfruitful.

13:25 But while men were sleeping, one who had hate for him came and put evil seeds among the grain, and went away.
13:25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

13:26 But when the green stem came up and gave fruit, the evil plants were seen at the same time.
13:26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

13:27 And the servants of the master of the house came and said to him, Sir, did you not put good seed in your field? how then has it evil plants?
13:27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, did not you sow good seed in your field? from whence then has it tares?

13:28 And he said, Someone has done this in hate. And the servants say to him, Is it your pleasure that we go and take them up?
13:28 He said unto them, An enemy has done this. The servants said unto him, Will you then that we go and gather them up?

13:29 But he says, No, for fear that by chance while you take up the evil plants, you may be rooting up the grain with them.
13:29 But he said, Nay; lest while all of you gather up the tares, all of you root up also the wheat with them.

13:30 Let them come up together till the getting in of the grain; and then I will say to the workers, Take up first the evil plants, and put them together for burning: but put the grain into my store-house.
13:30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather all of you together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

13:32 Which indeed is the least of all seeds: but when it is grown, it is the greatest among herbs, and becomes a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches thereof.

13:33 Another story he gave to them: The kingdom of heaven is like leaven, which a woman took, and put in three measures of meal, till it was all leavened.

13:39 And he who put them in the earth is Satan; and the getting in of the grain is the end of the world; and those who get it in are the angels.
13:39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

13:40 As then the evil plants are got together and burned with fire, so will it be in the end of the world.

13:41 The Son of man will send out his angels, and they will take out of his kingdom everything which is a cause of error, and all those who do wrong,
13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

13:44 The kingdom of heaven is like a secret store of wealth in a field, which a man came across and put back again; and in his joy he goes and gives all he has, to get that field.
13:44 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto treasure hid in a field; the which when a man has found, he hides, and for joy thereof goes and sells all that he has, and buys that field.

13:45 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a trader searching for beautiful jewels.

13:50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

13:51 Are all these things now clear to you? They say to him, Yes.

13:52 And he said to them, For this reason every scribe who has become a disciple of the kingdom of heaven is like the owner of a house, who gives out from his store things new and old.
13:52 Then said he unto them, Therefore every scribe which is instructed unto the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which brings forth out of his treasure things new and old.

13:53 And when Jesus had come to the end of these stories he went away from there.

13:54 And coming into his country, he gave them teaching in their Synagogue, so that they were greatly surprised and said, Where did this man get this wisdom and these works of power?
13:54 And when he was come into his own country, he taught them in their synagogue, insomuch that they were astonished, and said, Whence has this man this wisdom, and these mighty works?

13:57 And they were bitter against him. But Jesus said to them, A prophet is nowhere without honour but in his country and among his family.
13:57 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house.

14:1 At that time news of Jesus came to Herod the king;
14:1 At that time Herod the tetrarch heard of the fame of Jesus,

14:2 And he said to his servants, This is John the Baptist; he has come back from the dead, and so these powers are working in him.
14:2 And said unto his servants, This is John the Baptist; he has risen from the dead; and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.

14:3 For Herod had taken John and put him in prison because of Herodias, his brother Philip's wife.

14:4 Because John had said to him, It is not right for you to have her.

14:5 And he would have put him to death, but for his fear of the people, because in their eyes John was a prophet.

14:6 But when Herod's birthday came, the daughter of Herodias was dancing before them, and Herod was pleased with her.
14:6 But when Herod's birthday was kept, the daughter of Herodias danced before them, and pleased Herod.

14:7 So he gave her his word with an oath to let her have whatever she might make request for.
14:7 Whereupon he promised with an oath to give her whatsoever she would ask.

14:8 And she, at her mother's suggestion, said, Give me here on a plate the head of John the Baptist.
14:8 And she, being before instructed of her mother, said, Give me here John Baptist's head in a charger.

14:9 And the king was sad; but because of his oaths and because of his guests, he gave the order for it to be given to her;
14:9 And the king was sorry: nevertheless for the oath's sake, and them which sat with him at food, he commanded it to be given her.

14:10 And he sent and had John's head cut off in the prison.
14:10 And he sent, and beheaded John in the prison.

14:11 And his head was put on a plate and given to the girl; and she took it to her mother.
14:11 And his head was brought in a charger, and given to the damsel: and she brought it to her mother.

14:12 And his disciples came, and took up his body and put it in the earth; and they went and gave Jesus news of what had taken place.

14:13 Now when it came to the ears of Jesus, he went away from there in a boat, to a waste place by himself: and the people hearing of it, went after him on foot from the towns.
14:13 When Jesus heard of it, he departed thence by ship into a desert place apart: and when the people had heard thereof, they followed him on foot out of the cities.

14:14 And he came out and saw a great number of people and he had pity on them, and made well those of them who were ill.
14:14 And Jesus went forth, and saw a great multitude, and was moved with compassion toward them, and he healed their sick.

14:15 And when evening had come, the disciples came to him, saying, This place is waste land, and the time is now past; send the people away so that they may go into the towns and get themselves food.
14:15 And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.

14:16 But Jesus said to them, There is no need for them to go away; give them food yourselves.

14:17 And they say to him, We have here but five cakes of bread and two fishes.
14:17 And they say unto him, We have here but five loaves, and two fishes.

14:18 And he said, Give them to me.

14:19 And he gave orders for the people to be seated on the grass; and he took the five cakes of bread and the two fishes and, looking up to heaven, he said words of blessing, and made division of the food, and gave it to the disciples, and the disciples gave it to the people.
14:19 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the grass, and took the five loaves, and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed, and brake, and gave the loaves to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

14:20 ´Ù ¹èºÒ¸® ¸Ô°í ³²Àº Á¶°¢À» ¿­ µÎ ¹Ù±¸´Ï¿¡ Â÷°Ô °ÅµÎ¾úÀ¸¸ç
14:20 And they all took of the food and had enough: and they took up twelve baskets full of broken bits which were not used.
14:20 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the fragments that remained twelve baskets full.

14:21 And those who had food were about five thousand men, in addition to women and children.

14:22 And straight away he made the disciples get into the boat and go before him to the other side, till he had sent the people away.
14:22 And immediately Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

14:23 ¹«¸®¸¦ º¸³»½Å ÈÄ¿¡ ±âµµÇÏ·¯ µû·Î »ê¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó°¡½Ã´Ù Àú¹°¸Å °Å±â È¥ÀÚ °è½Ã´õ´Ï
14:23 And after he had sent the people away, he went up into the mountain by himself for prayer: and when evening was come, he was there by himself.
14:23 And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

14:24 But the boat was now in the middle of the sea, and was troubled by the waves: for the wind was against them.
14:24 But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night he came to them, walking on the sea.
14:25 And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

14:26 And when they saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they gave cries of fear.

14:29 And he said, Come. And Peter got out of the boat, and walking on the water, went to Jesus.

14:30 But when he saw the wind he was in fear and, starting to go down, he gave a cry, saying, Help, Lord.
14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

14:31 And straight away Jesus put out his hand and took a grip of him, and said to him, O man of little faith, why were you in doubt?
14:31 And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O you of little faith, wherefore did you doubt?

14:32 And when they had got into the boat, the wind went down.
14:32 And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

14:33 And those who were in the boat gave him worship, saying, Truly you are the Son of God.
14:33 Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Truthfully you are the Son of God.

14:34 And when they had gone across, they came to land at Gennesaret.
14:34 And when they were gone over, they came into the land of Gennesaret.

14:35 And when the men of that place had news of him, they sent into all the country round about, and took to him all who were ill,
14:35 And when the men of that place had knowledge of him, they sent out into all that country round about, and brought unto him all that were diseased;

14:36 With the request that they might only put their hands on the edge of his robe: and all those who did so were made well.
14:36 And besought him that they might only touch the hem of his garment: and as many as touched were made perfectly whole.

15:1 Then there came to Jesus from Jerusalem Pharisees and scribes, saying,
15:1 Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

15:2 Why do your disciples go against the teaching of the fathers? for they take food with unwashed hands.
15:2 Why do your disciples transgress the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

15:3 And in answer he said to them, Why do you, yourselves, go against the word of God on account of the teaching which has been handed down to you?
15:3 But he answered and said unto them, Why do all of you also transgress the commandment of God by your tradition?

15:4 For God said, Give honour to your father and mother: and, He who says evil of father or mother will be put to death.
15:4 For God commanded, saying, Honour your father and mother: and, He that curses father or mother, let him die the death.

15:5 But you say, If a man says to his father or his mother, That by which you might have had profit from me is given to God;
15:5 But all of you say, Whosoever shall say to his father or his mother, It is a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me;

15:6 There is no need for him to give honour to his father. And you have made the word of God without effect because of your teaching.
15:6 And honour not his father or his mother, he shall be free. Thus have all of you made the commandment of God of no effect by your tradition.

15:7 You false ones, well did Isaiah say of you,
15:7 All of you hypocrites, well did Isaiah prophesy of you, saying,

15:8  ÀÌ ¹é¼ºÀÌ ÀÔ¼ú·Î´Â ³ª¸¦ Á¸°æÇ쵂 ¸¶À½Àº ³»°Ô¼­ ¸Öµµ´Ù
15:8 These people give me honour with their lips, but their heart is far from me.
15:8 This people draws nigh unto me with their mouth, and honors me with their lips; but their heart is far from me.

15:9  »ç¶÷ÀÇ °è¸íÀ¸·Î ±³ÈÆÀ» »ï¾Æ °¡¸£Ä¡´Ï ³ª¸¦ ÇêµÇÀÌ °æ¹èÇϴµµ´Ù ÇÏ¿´´À´Ï¶ó ÇϽðí
15:9 But their worship is to no purpose, while they give as their teaching the rules of men.
15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

15:11 Not that which goes into the mouth makes a man unclean, but that which comes out of the mouth.
15:11 Not that which goes into the mouth defiles a man; but that which comes out of the mouth, this defiles a man.

15:12 Then the disciples came and said to him, Did you see that the Pharisees were troubled when these words came to their ears?
15:12 Then came his disciples, and said unto him, Know you that the Pharisees were offended, after they heard this saying? (o. logos)

15:13 But he said in answer, Every plant which my Father in heaven has not put in the earth, will be taken up by the roots.
15:13 But he answered and said, Every plant, which my heavenly Father has not planted, shall be rooted up.

15:14 Let them be: they are blind guides. And if a blind man is guiding a blind man, the two will go falling into a hole together.
15:14 Let them alone: they be blind leaders of the blind. And if the blind lead the blind, both shall fall into the ditch.

15:17 Do you not see that whatever goes into the mouth goes on into the stomach, and is sent out as waste?
15:17 Do not all of you yet understand, that whatsoever enters in at the mouth goes into the belly, and is cast out into the draught?

15:19 For out of the heart come evil thoughts, the taking of life, broken faith between the married, unclean desires of the flesh, taking of property, false witness, bitter words:
15:19 For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false witness, blasphemies:

15:22 And a woman of Canaan came out from those parts, crying and saying, Have pity on me, O Lord, Son of David; my daughter is greatly troubled with an unclean spirit.
15:22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, you son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

15:23 But he gave her no answer. And his disciples came and said to him, Send her away, for she is crying after us.
15:23 But he answered her not a word. (o. logos) And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she cries after us.

15:24 But he made answer and said, I was sent only to the wandering sheep of the house of Israel.
15:24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

15:26 And he made answer and said, It is not right to take the children's bread and give it to the dogs.
15:26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

15:27 But she said, Yes, Lord: but even the dogs take the bits from under their masters' table.
15:27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

15:28 Then Jesus, answering, said to her, O woman, great is your faith: let your desire be done. And her daughter was made well from that hour.
15:28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is your faith: be it unto you even as you will. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

15:30 And there came to him great numbers of people having with them those who were broken in body, or blind, or without voice, or wounded, or ill in any way, and a number of others; they put them down at his feet and he made them well:
15:30 And great multitudes came unto him, having with them those that were lame, blind, dumb, physically disabled, and many others, and cast them down at Jesus' feet; and he healed them:

15:31 So that the people were full of wonder when they saw that those who had no voice were talking, the feeble were made strong, those whose bodies were broken had the power of walking, and the blind were able to see: and they gave glory to the God of Israel.
15:31 Insomuch that the multitude wondered, when they saw the dumb to speak, the physically disabled to be whole, the lame to walk, and the blind to see: and they glorified the God of Israel.

15:32 And Jesus got his disciples together and said, I have pity for the people, because they have now been with me three days and have no food: and I will not send them away without food, or they will have no strength for the journey.
15:32 Then Jesus called his disciples unto him, and said, I have compassion on the multitude, because they continue with me now three days, and have nothing to eat: and I will not send them away fasting, lest they faint in the way.

15:34 And Jesus says to them, How much bread have you? And they said, Seven cakes, and some small fishes.
15:34 And Jesus says unto them, How many loaves have all of you? And they said, Seven, and a few little fishes.

15:35 Then he gave an order to the people to be seated on the earth,
15:35 And he commanded the multitude to sit down on the ground.

15:36 And he took the seven cakes of bread and the fishes; and having given praise, he gave the broken bread to the disciples, and the disciples gave it to the people.
15:36 And he took the seven loaves and the fishes, and gave thanks, and brake them, and gave to his disciples, and the disciples to the multitude.

15:37 And they all took food, and had enough; and they took up of the broken bits, seven baskets full.
15:37 And they did all eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets full.

15:38 And there were four thousand men who took food, together with women and children.

16:1 And the Pharisees and Sadducees came and, testing him, made a request to him to give them a sign from heaven.
16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven.

16:2 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© °¡¶ó»ç´ë ³ÊÈñ°¡ Àú³á¿¡ ÇÏ´ÃÀÌ ºÓÀ¸¸é ³¯ÀÌ ÁÁ°Ú´Ù ÇÏ°í
16:2 But in answer he said to them, At nightfall you say, The weather will be good, for the sky is red.
16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, all of you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

16:3 ¾Æħ¿¡ ÇÏ´ÃÀÌ ºÓ°í È帮¸é ¿À´ÃÀº ³¯ÀÌ ±Ä°Ú´Ù Çϳª´Ï ³ÊÈñ°¡ õ±â´Â ºÐº°ÇÒ ÁÙ ¾Ë¸é¼­ ½Ã´ëÀÇ Ç¥ÀûÀº ºÐº°ÇÒ ¼ö ¾ø´À³Ä
16:3 And in the morning, The weather will be bad today, for the sky is red and angry. You are able to see the face of heaven, but not the signs of the times.
16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O all of you hypocrites, all of you can discern the face of the sky; but can all of you not discern the signs of the times?

16:4 ¾ÇÇÏ°í À½¶õÇÑ ¼¼´ë°¡ Ç¥ÀûÀ» ±¸Çϳª ¿ä³ªÀÇ Ç¥Àû ¹Û¿¡´Â º¸¿© Á٠ǥÀûÀÌ ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó ÇϽðí ÀúÈñ¸¦ ¶°³ª °¡½Ã´Ù
16:4 An evil and false generation is searching after a sign; and no sign will be given to it but the sign of Jonah. And he went away from them.
16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

16:5 And when the disciples came to the other side they had not taken thought to get bread.

16:6 And Jesus said to them, Take care to have nothing to do with the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

16:7 And they were reasoning among themselves, saying, We took no bread.
16:7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

16:8 And Jesus, seeing it, said, O you of little faith, why are you reasoning among yourselves, because you have no bread?
16:8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O all of you of little faith, why reason all of you among yourselves, because all of you have brought no bread?

16:9 Do you still not see, or keep in mind the five cakes of bread of the five thousand, and the number of baskets you took up?
16:9 Do all of you not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets all of you took up?

16:10 Or the seven cakes of bread of the four thousand, and the number of baskets you took up?
16:10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets all of you took up?

16:11 How is it that you do not see that I was not talking to you about bread, but about keeping away from the leaven of the Pharisees and Sadducees?
16:11 How is it that all of you do not understand that I spoke it not to you concerning bread, that all of you should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

16:12 Then they saw that it was not the leaven of bread which he had in mind, but the teaching of the Pharisees and Sadducees.
16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

16:13 Now when Jesus had come into the parts of Caesarea Philippi, he said, questioning his disciples, Who do men say that the Son of man is?

16:21 From that time Jesus went on to make clear to his disciples how he would have to go up to Jerusalem, and undergo much at the hands of those in authority and the chief priests and scribes, and be put to death, and the third day come again from the dead.
16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

16:23 But he, turning to Peter, said, Get out of my way, Satan: you are a danger to me because your mind is not on the things of God, but on the things of men.

17:1 And after six days Jesus takes with him Peter, and James, and John, his brother, and makes them go up with him into a high mountain by themselves.

17:4 And Peter made answer and said to Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will let me, I will make here three tents, one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.
17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

17:5 While he was still talking, a bright cloud came over them: and a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my dearly loved Son, with whom I am well pleased; give ear to him.
17:5 While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear all of you him.

17:6 And at these words the disciples went down on their faces in great fear.

17:9 And when they were coming down from the mountain, Jesus gave them orders, saying, Let no man have word of what you have seen, till the Son of man has come again from the dead.
17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

17:10 And his disciples, questioning him, said, Why then do the scribes say that Elijah has to come first?

17:11 And in answer he said, Elijah truly has to come and put all things right:
17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.

17:12 But I say to you that Elijah has come, and they had no knowledge of him, but did to him whatever they were pleased to do; the same will the Son of man undergo at their hands.
17:12 But I say unto you, That Elijah has come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

17:14 And when they came to the people, a man went down on his knees to him, saying,
17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

17:15 Lord have mercy on my son: for he is off his head, and is in great pain; and frequently he goes falling into the fire, and frequently into the water.

17:17 And Jesus, answering, said, O false and foolish generation, how long will I be with you? how long will I put up with you? let him come here to me.
17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to me.

17:18 And Jesus gave orders to the unclean spirit, and it went out of him: and the boy was made well from that hour.
17:18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

17:20 And he says to them, Because of your little faith: for truly I say to you, If you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, Be moved from this place to that; and it will be moved; and nothing will be impossible to you.
17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If all of you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you shall say unto this mountain, Remove behind to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

17:22 And while they were going about in Galilee, Jesus said to them, The Son of man will be given up into the hands of men;
17:22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

17:23 And they will put him to death, and the third day he will come again from the dead. And they were very sad.
17:23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

17:24 And when they had come to Capernaum, those who took the Temple tax came to Peter and said, Does not your master make payment of the Temple tax?
17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Does not your master pay tribute?

17:25 He says, Yes. And when he came into the house, Jesus said to him, What is your opinion, Simon? from whom do the kings of the earth get payment or tax? from their sons or from other people?
17:25 He says, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What think you, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

17:27 But, so that we may not be a cause of trouble to them, go to the sea, and let down a hook, and take the first fish which comes up; and in his mouth you will see a bit of money: take that, and give it to them for me and you.

18:1 In that hour the disciples came to Jesus, saying, Who is greatest in the kingdom of heaven?
18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

18:2 And he took a little child, and put him in the middle of them,
18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

18:3 And said, Truly, I say to you, If you do not have a change of heart and become like little children, you will not go into the kingdom of heaven.
18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except all of you be converted, and become as little children, all of you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

18:4 Whoever, then, will make himself as low as this little child, the same is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven.
18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

18:5 And whoever gives honour to one such little child in my name, gives honour to me:
18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.

18:6 But whoever is a cause of trouble to one of these little ones who have faith in me, it would be better for him to have a great stone fixed to his neck, and to come to his end in the deep sea.
18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

18:7 A curse is on the earth because of trouble! for it is necessary for trouble to come; but unhappy is that man through whom the trouble comes.
18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must essentially be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence comes!

18:8 And if your hand or your foot is a cause of trouble, let it be cut off and put it away from you: it is better for you to go into life with the loss of a hand or a foot than, having two hands or two feet, to go into the eternal fire.
18:8 Wherefore if your hand or your foot offend you, cut them off, and cast them from you: it is better for you to enter into life halt or physically disabled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

18:9 And if your eye is a cause of trouble to you, take it out, and put it away from you: it is better for you to go into life with one eye than, having two eyes, to go into the hell of fire.
18:9 And if yours eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

18:10 Let it not seem to you that one of these little ones is of no value; for I say to you that in heaven their angels see at all times the face of my Father in heaven.
18:10 Take heed that all of you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

18:12 What would you say now? if a man has a hundred sheep, and one of them has gone wandering away, will he not let the ninety-nine be, and go to the mountains in search of the wandering one?
18:12 How think all of you? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not leave the ninety and nine, and goes into the mountains, and seeks that which is gone astray?

18:13 And if he comes across it, truly I say to you, he has more joy over it than over the ninety-nine which have not gone out of the way.
18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

18:14 Even so it is not the pleasure of your Father in heaven for one of these little ones to come to destruction.
18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

18:15 And if your brother does wrong to you, go, make clear to him his error between you and him in private: if he gives ear to you, you have got your brother back again.
18:15 Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.

18:16 But if he will not give ear to you, take with you one or two more, that by the lips of two or three witnesses every word may be made certain.
18:16 But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word (o. rhema) may be established.

18:17 And if he will not give ear to them, let it come to the hearing of the church: and if he will not give ear to the church, let him be to you as a Gentile and a tax-farmer.
18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you as an heathen man and a publican.

18:18 Truly I say to you, Whatever things are fixed by you on earth will be fixed in heaven: and whatever you make free on earth will be made free in heaven.
18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever all of you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever all of you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

18:19 Again, I say to you, that if two of you are in agreement on earth about anything for which they will make a request, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven.
18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as concerning any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

18:20 For where two or three are come together in my name, there am I among them.

18:21 Then Peter came and said to him, Lord, what number of times may my brother do wrong against me, and I give him forgiveness? till seven times?
18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

18:23 For this reason the kingdom of heaven is like a king, who went over his accounts with his servants.
18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account (o. logos) of his servants.

18:24 And at the start, one came to him who was in his debt for ten thousand talents.
18:24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

18:25 And because he was not able to make payment, his lord gave orders for him, and his wife, and his sons and daughters, and all he had, to be given for money, and payment to be made.
18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

18:27 And the lord of that servant, being moved with pity, let him go, and made him free of the debt.
18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

18:28 But that servant went out, and meeting one of the other servants, who was in debt to him for one hundred pence, he took him by the throat, saying, Make payment of your debt.
18:28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that you owe.

18:32 Then his lord sent for him and said, You evil servant; I made you free of all that debt, because of your request to me:
18:32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O you wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:

18:33 Was it not right for you to have mercy on the other servant, even as I had mercy on you?
18:33 Should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?

18:34 And his lord was very angry, and put him in the hands of those who would give him punishment till he made payment of all the debt.
18:34 And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

18:35 So will my Father in heaven do to you, if you do not everyone, from your hearts, give forgiveness to his brother.
18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if all of you from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

19:1 And it came about that after saying these words, Jesus went away from Galilee, and came into the parts of Judaea on the other side of Jordan.
19:1 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, (o. logos) he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

19:2 And a great number went after him; and he made them well there.

19:3 And certain Pharisees came to him, testing him, and saying, Is it right for a man to put away his wife for every cause?
19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

19:5 For this cause will a man go away from his father and mother, and be joined to his wife; and the two will become one flesh?
19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they two shall be one flesh?

19:6 So that they are no longer two, but one flesh. Then let not that which has been joined by God be parted by man.

19:8 He says to them, Moses, because of your hard hearts, let you put away your wives: but it has not been so from the first.

19:9 And I say to you, Whoever puts away his wife for any other cause than the loss of her virtue, and takes another, is a false husband: and he who takes her as his wife when she is put away, is no true husband to her.
19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries her which is put away does commit adultery.

19:10 The disciples say to him, If this is the position of a man in relation to his wife, it is better not to be married.

19:12 For there are men who, from birth, were without sex: and there are some who were made so by men: and there are others who have made themselves so for the kingdom of heaven. He who is able to take it, let him take it.
19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

19:17 And he said to him, Why are you questioning me about what is good? One there is who is good: but if you have a desire to go into life, keep the rules of the law.
19:17 And he said unto him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.

19:21 Jesus said to him, If you have a desire to be complete, go, get money for your property, and give it to the poor, and you will have wealth in heaven: and come after me.
19:21 Jesus said unto him, If you will be perfect, go and sell that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

19:23 And Jesus said to his disciples, Truly I say to you, It is hard for a man with much money to go into the kingdom of heaven.
19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

19:24 And again I say to you, It is simpler for a camel to go through a needle's eye, than for a man with much money to go into the kingdom of God.
19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

19:26 And Jesus, looking at them, said, With men this is not possible; but with God all things are possible.

19:28 And Jesus said to them, Truly I say to you that in the time when all things are made new, and the Son of man is seated in his glory, you who have come after me will be seated on twelve seats, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.
19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That all of you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, all of you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

19:29 And everyone who has given up houses, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or child, or land, for my name, will be given a hundred times as much, and have eternal life.
19:29 And every one that has forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like the master of a house, who went out early in the morning to get workers into his vine-garden.
20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

20:7 They say to him, Because no man has given us work. He says to them, Go in with the rest, into the vine-garden.

20:8 And when evening came, the lord of the vine-garden said to his manager, Let the workers come, and give them their payment, from the last to the first.
20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard says unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

20:9 And when those men came who had gone to work at the eleventh hour, they were given every man a penny.

20:10 Then those who came first had the idea that they would get more; and they, like the rest, were given a penny.
20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

20:11 And when they got it, they made a protest against the master of the house,

20:12 Saying, These last have done only one hour's work, and you have made them equal to us, who have undergone the hard work of the day and the burning heat.

20:13 But he in answer said to one of them, Friend, I do you no wrong: did you not make an agreement with me for a penny?

20:16 So the last will be first, and the first last.

20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

20:19 And will give him up to the Gentiles to be made sport of and to be whipped and to be put to death on the cross: and the third day he will come back again from the dead.
20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

20:20 Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, giving him worship and making a request of him.
20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

20:21 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ °¡¶ó»ç´ë ¹«¾ùÀ» ¿øÇÏ´À´¢ °¡·ÎµÇ ÀÌ ³ªÀÇ µÎ ¾ÆµéÀ» ÁÖÀÇ ³ª¶ó¿¡¼­ Çϳª´Â ÁÖÀÇ ¿ìÆí¿¡ Çϳª´Â ÁÖÀÇ ÁÂÆí¿¡ ¾É°Ô ¸íÇϼҼ­
20:21 And he said to her, What is your desire? She says to him, Let my two sons be seated, the one at your right hand, and the other at your left, in your kingdom.
20:21 And he said unto her, What will you? She says unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on your right hand, and the other on the left, in your kingdom.

20:22 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ´ë´äÇÏ¿© °¡¶ó»ç´ë ³ÊÈñ ±¸ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾ËÁö ¸øÇϴµµ´Ù ³ªÀÇ ¸¶½Ã·Á´Â ÀÜÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¸¶½Ç ¼ö ÀÖ´À³Ä ÀúÈñ°¡ ¸»Ç쵂 ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖ³ªÀÌ´Ù
20:22 But Jesus made answer and said, You have no idea what you are requesting. Are you able to take of the cup which I am about to take?
20:22 But Jesus answered and said, All of you know not what all of you ask. Are all of you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

20:23 They say to him, We are able. He says to them, Truly, you will take of my cup: but to be seated at my right hand and at my left is not for me to give, but it is for those for whom my Father has made it ready.
20:23 And he says unto them, All of you shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

20:24 And when it came to the ears of the ten, they were angry with the two brothers.
20:24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

20:25 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ Á¦ÀÚµéÀ» ºÒ·¯´Ù°¡ °¡¶ó»ç´ë À̹æÀÎÀÇ Áý±ÇÀÚµéÀÌ ÀúÈñ¸¦ ÀÓÀÇ·Î ÁÖ°üÇÏ°í ±× ´ëÀεéÀÌ ÀúÈñ¿¡°Ô ±Ç¼¼¸¦ ºÎ¸®´Â ÁÙÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Ë°Å´Ï¿Í
20:25 But Jesus said to them, You see that the rulers of the Gentiles are lords over them, and their great ones have authority over them.
20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, All of you know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

20:26 ³ÊÈñ Áß¿¡´Â ±×·¸Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ´Ï ³ÊÈñ Áß¿¡ ´©±¸µçÁö Å©°íÀÚ ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¼¶±â´Â ÀÚ°¡ µÇ°í
20:26 Let it not be so among you: but if anyone has a desire to become great among you, let him be your servant;
20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

20:27 ³ÊÈñ Áß¿¡ ´©±¸µçÁö À¸¶äÀÌ µÇ°íÀÚ ÇÏ´Â ÀÚ´Â ³ÊÈñ Á¾ÀÌ µÇ¾î¾ß Çϸ®¶ó
20:27 And whoever has a desire to be first among you, let him take the lowest place:
20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

20:28 ÀÎÀÚ°¡ ¿Â °ÍÀº ¼¶±èÀ» ¹ÞÀ¸·Á ÇÔÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó µµ¸®¾î ¼¶±â·Á ÇÏ°í Àڱ⠸ñ¼ûÀ» ¸¹Àº »ç¶÷ÀÇ ´ë¼Ó¹°·Î ÁÖ·Á ÇÔÀ̴϶ó
20:28 Even as the Son of man did not come to have servants, but to be a servant, and to give his life for the salvation of men.
20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

20:29 ¡Û ÀúÈñ°¡ ¿©¸®°í¿¡¼­ ¶°³ª°¥ ¶§¿¡ Å« ¹«¸®°¡ ¿¹¼ö¸¦ ÁÀ´õ¶ó
20:29 And when they were going out from Jericho, a great number went after him.
20:29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

20:30 And two blind men seated by the wayside, when they had the news that Jesus was going by, gave a loud cry, saying, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.
20:30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, you son of David.

20:31 ¹«¸®°¡ ²Ù¢¾î ÀáÀáÇ϶ó Ç쵂 ´õ¿í ¼Ò¸® Áú·¯ °¡·ÎµÇ ÁÖ¿© ¿ì¸®¸¦ ºÒ½ÖÈ÷ ¿©±â¼Ò¼­ ´ÙÀ­ÀÇ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ¿© ÇÏ´ÂÁö¶ó
20:31 And the people gave them orders to be quiet; but they went on crying even louder, Lord, Son of David, have mercy on us.
20:31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, you son of David.

20:32 ¿¹¼ö²²¼­ ¸Ó¹°·¯ ¼­¼­ ÀúÈñ¸¦ ºÒ·¯
20:32 And Jesus, stopping, sent for them, and said, What would you have me do to you?
20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will all of you that I shall do unto you?

20:33 They say to him, Lord, that our eyes may be open.
20:33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

20:34 And Jesus, being moved with pity, put his fingers on their eyes: and straight away they were able to see, and went after him.
20:34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.
