10:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
10:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
10:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
10:2 은 나팔 둘을 만들되 쳐서 만들어서 그것으로 회중을 소집하며 진을 진행케
할 것이라
10:2 Make two silver horns of hammered work, to be used for getting the people together
and to give the sign for the moving of the tents.
10:2 Make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
10:3 두 나팔을 불 때에는 온 회중이 회막문 앞에 모여서 네게로 나아올 것이요
10:3 When they are sounded, all the people are to come together to you at the door of
the Tent of meeting.
10:3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
10:4 하나만 불 때에는 이스라엘 천부장 된 족장들이 모여서 네게로 나아올 것이며
10:4 If only one of them is sounded, then the chiefs, the heads of the thousands of Israel,
are to come to you.
10:4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto you.
10:5 너희가 그것을 울려 불 때에는 동편 진들이 진행할 것이고
10:5 When a loud note is sounded, the tents placed on the east side are to go forward.
10:5 When all of you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.
10:6 제 이 차로 울려 불 때에는 남편 진들이 진행할 것이라 무릇 진행하려 할
때에는 나팔 소리를 울려 불 것이며
10:6 At the sound of a second loud note, the tents on the south side are to go forward:
the loud note will be the sign to go forward.
10:6 When all of you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
10:7 또 회중을 모을 때에도 나팔을 불 것이나 소리를 울려 불지 말 것이며
10:7 But when all the people are to come together, the horn is to be sounded but not
loudly.
10:7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together, all of you shall blow, but all of you shall not sound an alarm.
10:8 그 나팔은 아론의 자손인 제사장들이 불지니 이는 너희 대대에 영원한 율례니라
10:8 The horns are to be sounded by the sons of Aaron, the priests; this is to be a law
for you for ever, from generation to generation.
10:8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
10:9 또 너희 땅에서 너희가 자기를 압박하는 대적을 치러 나갈 때에는 나팔을
울려 불지니 그리하면 너희 하나님 여호와가 너희를 기억하고 너희를 너희 대적에게서
구원하리라
10:9 And if you go to war in your land against any who do you wrong, then let the loud
note of the horn be sounded; and the Lord your God will keep you in mind and give
you salvation from those who are against you.
10:9 And if all of you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then all of you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and all of you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and all of you shall be saved from your enemies.
10:10 또 너희 희락의 날과 너희 정한 절기와 월삭에는 번제물의 위에와 화목
제물의 위에 나팔을 불라 그로 말미암아 너희 하나님이 너희를 기억하리라 나는 너희
하나님 여호와니라
10:10 And on days of joy and on your regular feasts and on the first day of every month,
let the horns be sounded over your burned offerings and your peace-offerings; and
they will put the Lord in mind of you: I am the Lord your God.
10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, all of you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
10:11 ○ 제 이 년 이 월 이십 일에 구름이 증거막에서 떠오르매
10:11 Now in the second year, on the twentieth day of the second month, the cloud was
taken up from over the Tent of witness.
10:11 And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
10:12 이스라엘 자손이 시내 광야에서 출발하여 자기 길을 행하더니 바란 광야에
구름이 머무늬라
10:12 And the children of Israel went on their journey out of the waste land of Sinai;
and the cloud came to rest in the waste land of Paran.
10:12 And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
10:13 이와 같이 그들이 여호와께서 모세로 명하신 것을 좇아 진행하기를 시작하였는데
10:13 They went forward for the first time on their journey as the Lord had given orders
by the hand of Moses.
10:13 And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
10:14 수두로 유다 자손 진 기에 속한 자들이 그 군대대로 진행하였으니 유다 군대는
암미나답의 아들 나손이 영솔하였고
10:14 First the flag of the children of Judah went forward with their armies: and at the
head of his army was Nahshon, the son of Amminadab.
10:14 In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
10:15 잇사갈 자손 지파의 군대는 수알의 아들 느다넬이 영솔하였고
10:15 And at the head of the army of the children of Issachar was Nethanel, the son of
Zuar.
10:15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
10:16 스불론 자손 지파의 군대는 헬론의 아들 엘리압이 영솔하였더라
10:16 And at the head of the army of the children of Zebulun was Eliab, the son of Helon.
10:16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
10:17 ○ 이에 성막을 걷으매 게르손 자손과 므라리 자손이 성막을 메고 발행하였으며
10:17 Then the House was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari, who
were responsible for moving the House, went forward.
10:17 And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.
10:18 다음으로 르우벤 진 기에 속한 자들이 그 군대대로 발행하였으니 르우벤의
군대는 스데울의 아들 엘리술이 영솔하였고
10:18 Then the flag of the children of Reuben went forward with their armies: and at the
head of his army was Elizur, the son of Shedeur.
10:18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
10:19 시므온 자손 지파의 군대는 수리삿대의 아들 슬루미엘이 영솔하였고
10:19 And at the head of the army of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel, the son of
Zurishaddai.
10:19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
10:20 갓 자손 지파의 군대는 드우엘의 아들 엘리아삽이 영솔하였더라
10:20 At the head of the army of the children of Gad was Eliasaph, the son of Reuel.
10:20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
10:21 ○ 고핫인은 성물을 메고 진행하였고 그들이 이르기 전에 성막을 세웠으며
10:21 Then the Kohathites went forward with the holy place; the others put up the House
ready for their coming.
10:21 And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
10:22 다음으로 에브라임 자손 진 기에 속한 자들이 그 군대대로 진행하였으니
에브라임 군대는 암미훗의 아들 엘리사마가 영솔하였고
10:22 Then the flag of the children of Ephraim went forward with their armies: and at
the head of his army was Elishama, the son of Ammihud.
10:22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
10:23 므낫세 자손 지파의 군대는 브다술의 아들 가말리엘이 영솔하였고
10:23 At the head of the army of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel, the son of Pedahzur.
10:23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
10:24 베냐민 자손 지파의 군대는 기드오니의 아들 아비단이 영솔하였더라
10:24 At the head of the army of the children of Benjamin was Abidan, the son of Gideoni.
10:24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
10:25 ○ 다음으로 단 자손 진 기에 속한 자들이 그 군대대로 진행하였으니 이
군대는 모든 진의 후진이었더라 단 군대는 암미삿대의 아들 아히에셀이 영솔하였고
10:25 And the flag of the children of Dan, whose tents were moved last of all, went forward
with their armies: and at the head of his army was Ahiezer, the son of Ammishaddai.
10:25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rear guard of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
10:26 아셀 자손 지파의 군대는 오그란의 아들 바기엘이 영솔하였고
10:26 At the head of the army of the children of Asher was Pagiel, the son of Ochran.
10:26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
10:27 납달리 자손 지파의 군대는 에난의 아들 아히라가 영솔하였더라
10:27 And at the head of the army of the children of Naphtali was Ahira, the son of Enan.
10:27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
10:28 이스라엘 자손이 진행할 때에 이와 같이 그 군대를 따라 나아갔더라
10:28 This was the order in which the children of Israel were journeying by armies; so
they went forward.
10:28 Thus were the journeys of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
10:29 ○ 모세가 그 장인 미디안 사람 르우엘의 아들 호밥에게 이르되 여호와께서
주마하신 곳으로 우리가 진행하나니 우리와 동행하자 그리하면 선대하리라 여호와께서
이스라엘에게 복을 내리리라 하셨느니라
10:29 Then Moses said to Hobab, the son of his father-in-law Reuel the Midianite, We are
journeying to that place of which the Lord has said, I will give it to you: so come
with us, and it will be for your profit: for the Lord has good things in store for
Israel.
10:29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come you with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.
10:30 호밥이 그에게 이르되 나는 가지 아니하고 내 고향 내 친족에게로 가리라
10:30 But he said, I will not go with you, I will go back to the land of my birth and
to my relations.
10:30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
10:31 모세가 가로되 청컨대 우리를 떠나지 마소서 당신은 우리가 광야에서 어떻게
진 칠 것을 아나니 우리의 눈이 되리이다
10:31 And he said, Do not go from us; for you will be eyes for us, guiding us to the right
places in the waste land to put up our tents.
10:31 And he said, Leave us not, I pray you; forasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you may be to us instead of eyes.
10:32 우리와 동행하면 여호와께서 우리에게 복을 내리시는 대로 우리도 당신에게
행하리이다
10:32 And if you come with us, we will give you a part in whatever good the Lord does
for us.
10:32 And it shall be, if you go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto you.
10:33 ○ 그들이 여호와의 산에서 떠나 삼 일 길을 행할 때에 여호와의 언약궤가
그 삼 일 길에 앞서 행하며 그들의 쉴 곳을 찾았고
10:33 So they went forward three days' journey from the mountain of the Lord; and the
ark of the Lord's agreement went three days' journey before them, looking for a
resting-place for them;
10:33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.
10:34 그들이 행진할 때에 낮에는 여호와의 구름이 그 위에 덮였었더라
10:34 And by day the cloud of the Lord went over them, when they went forward from the
place where they had put up their tents.
10:34 And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
10:35 ○ 궤가 떠날 때에는 모세가 가로되 여호와여 일어나사 주의 대적들을 흩으시고
주를 미워하는 자로 주의 앞에서 도망하게 하소서 하였고
10:35 And when the ark went forward Moses said, Come up, O Lord, and let the armies of
those who are against you be broken, and let your haters go in flight before you.
10:35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let yours enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you.
10:36 궤가 쉴 때에는 가로되 여호와여 이스라엘 천만인에게로 돌아오소서 하였더라
10:36 And when it came to rest, he said, Take rest, O Lord, and give a blessing to the
families of Israel.
10:36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
11:1 백성이 여호와의 들으시기에 악한 말로 원망하매 여호와께서 들으시고 진노하사
여호와의 불로 그들 중에 붙어서 진 끝을 사르게 하시매
11:1 Now the people were saying evil against the Lord; and the Lord, hearing it, was
angry and sent fire on them, burning the outer parts of the tent-circle.
11:1 And when the people complained, it displeased the LORD: and the LORD heard it; and his anger was kindled; and the fire of the LORD burnt among them, and consumed them that were in the uttermost parts of the camp.
11:2 백성이 모세에게 부르짖으므로 모세가 여호와께 기도하니 불이 꺼졌더라
11:2 And the people made an outcry to Moses, and Moses made prayer to the Lord, and the
fire was stopped.
11:2 And the people cried unto Moses; and when Moses prayed unto the LORD, the fire was quenched.
11:3 그 곳 이름을 다베라라 칭하였으니 이는 여호와의 불이 그들 중에 붙은 연고였더라
11:3 So that place was named Taberah, because of the fire of the Lord which had been
burning among them.
11:3 And he called the name of the place Taberah: because the fire of the LORD burnt among them.
11:4 ○ 이스라엘 중에 섞여 사는 무리가 탐욕을 품으매 이스라엘 자손도 다시
울며 가로되 누가 우리에게 고기를 주어 먹게 할꼬
11:4 And the mixed band of people who went with them were overcome by desire: and the
children of Israel, weeping again, said, Who will give us flesh for our food?
11:4 And the mixt multitude that was among them fell a lusting: and the children of Israel also wept again, and said, Who shall give us flesh to eat?
11:5 우리가 애굽에 있을 때에는 값 없이 생선과 외와 수박과 부추와 파와 마늘들을
먹은 것이 생각나거늘
11:5 Sweet is the memory of the fish we had in Egypt for nothing, and the fruit and green
plants of every sort, sharp and pleasing to the taste:
11:5 We remember the fish, which we did eat in Egypt freely; the cucumbers, and the melons, and the leeks, and the onions, and the garlick:
11:6 이제는 우리 정력이 쇠약하되 이 만나 외에는 보이는 것이 아무 것도 없도다
하니
11:6 But now our soul is wasted away; there is nothing at all: we have nothing but this
manna before our eyes.
11:6 But now our soul is dried away: there is nothing at all, beside this manna, before our eyes.
11:7 만나는 깟씨와 같고 모양은 진주와 같은 것이라
11:7 Now the manna was like a seed of grain, like small clear drops.
11:7 And the manna was as coriander seed, and the colour thereof as the colour of bdellium.
11:8 백성이 두루 다니며 그것을 거두어 맷돌에 갈기도 하며 절구에 찧기도 하고
가마에 삶기도 하여 과자를 만들었으니 그 맛이 기름 섞은 과자 맛 같았더라
11:8 The people went about taking it up from the earth, crushing it between stones or
hammering it to powder, and boiling it in pots, and they made cakes of it: its taste
was like the taste of cakes cooked with oil.
11:8 And the people went about, and gathered it, and ground it in mills, or beat it in a mortar, and baked it in pans, and made cakes of it: and the taste of it was as the taste of fresh oil.
11:9 밤에 이슬이 진에 내릴 때에 만나도 같이 내렸더라
11:9 When the dew came down on the tents at night, the manna came down with it.
11:9 And when the dew fell upon the camp in the night, the manna fell upon it.
11:10 ○ 백성의 온 가족들이 각기 장막 문에서 우는 것을 모세가 들으니라 이러므로
여호와의 진노가 심히 크고 모세도 기뻐하지 아니하여
11:10 And at the sound of the people weeping, every man at his tent-door, the wrath of
the Lord was great, and Moses was very angry.
11:10 Then Moses heard the people weep throughout their families, every man in the door of his tent: and the anger of the LORD was kindled greatly; Moses also was displeased.
11:11 여호와께 여짜오되 주께서 어찌하여 종을 괴롭게 하시나이까 어찌하여 나로
주의 목전에 은혜를 입게 아니하시고 이 모든 백성을 내게 맡기사 나로 그 짐을 지게
하시나이까
11:11 And Moses said to the Lord, Why have you done me this evil? and why have I not grace
in your eyes, that you have put on me the care of all this people?
11:11 And Moses said unto the LORD, Wherefore have you afflicted your servant? and wherefore have I not found favour in your sight, that you lay the burden of all this people upon me?
11:12 이 모든 백성을 내가 잉태하였나이까 내가 어찌 그들을 생산하였기에 주께서
나더러 양육하는 아비가 젖 먹는 아이를 품듯 그들을 품에 품고 주께서 그들의 열조에게
맹세하신 땅으로 가라 하시나이까
11:12 Am I the father of all this people? have I given them birth, that you say to me,
Take them in your arms, like a child at the breast, to the land which you gave by
an oath to their fathers?
11:12 Have I conceived all this people? have I begotten them, that you should say unto me, Carry them in your bosom, as a nursing father bears the nursing infant, unto the land which you sware unto their fathers?
11:13 이 모든 백성에게 줄 고기를 내가 어디서 얻으리이까 그들이 나를 향하여
울며 가로되 우리에게 고기를 주어 먹게 하라 하온즉
11:13 Where am I to get flesh to give to all this people? For they are weeping to me and
saying, Give us flesh for our food.
11:13 Whence should I have flesh to give unto all this people? for they weep unto me, saying, Give us flesh, that we may eat.
11:14 책임이 심히 중하여 나 혼자는 이 모든 백성을 질 수 없나이다
11:14 I am not able by myself to take the weight of all this people, for it is more than
my strength.
11:14 I am not able to bear all this people alone, because it is too heavy for me.
11:15 주께서 내게 이같이 행하실진대 구하옵나니 내게 은혜를 베푸사 즉시 나를
죽여 나로 나의 곤고함을 보지 않게 하옵소서
11:15 If this is to be my fate, put me to death now in answer to my prayer, if I have
grace in your eyes; and let me not see my shame.
11:15 And if you deal thus with me, kill me, I pray you, instantly, if I have found favour in your sight; and let me not see my wretchedness.
11:16 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 이스라엘 노인 중 백성의 장로와 유사
되는 줄을 네가 아는 자 칠십 인을 모아 데리고 회막 내 앞에 이르러 거기서 너와
함께 서게 하라
11:16 And the Lord said to Moses, Send for seventy of the responsible men of Israel, who
are in your opinion men of weight and authority over the people; make them come
to the Tent of meeting and be there with you.
11:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Gather unto me seventy men of the elders of Israel, whom you know to be the elders of the people, and officers over them; and bring them unto the tabernacle of the congregation, that they may stand there with you.
11:17 내가 강림하여 거기서 너와 말하고 네게 임한 신을 그들에게도 임하게 하리니
그들이 너와 함께 백성의 짐을 담당하고 너 혼자 지지 아니하리라
11:17 And I will come down and have talk with you there: and I will take some of the spirit
which is on you and put it on them, and they will take part of the weight of the
people off you, so that you do not have to take it by yourself.
11:17 And I will come down and talk with you there: and I will take of the spirit which is upon you, and will put it upon them; and they shall bear the burden of the people with you, that you bear it not yourself alone.
11:18 또 백성에게 이르기를 너희 몸을 거룩히 하여 내일 고기 먹기를 기다리라
너희가 울며 이르기를 누가 우리에게 고기를 주어 먹게 할꼬 애굽에 있을 때가 우리에게
재미 있었다 하는 말이 여호와께 들렸으므로 여호와께서 너희에게 고기를 주어 먹게
하실 것이라
11:18 And say to the people, Make yourselves clean before tomorrow and you will have flesh
for your food: for in the ears of the Lord you have been weeping and saying, Who
will give us flesh for food? for we were well off in Egypt: and so the Lord will
give you flesh, and it will be your food;
11:18 And say you unto the people, Sanctify yourselves against tomorrow, and all of you shall eat flesh: for all of you have wept in the ears of the LORD, saying, Who shall give us flesh to eat? for it was well with us in Egypt: therefore the LORD will give you flesh, and all of you shall eat.
11:19 하루나 이틀이나 닷새나 열흘이나 이십 일만 먹을 뿐 아니라
11:19 Not for one day only, or even for five or ten or twenty days;
11:19 All of you shall not eat one day, nor two days, nor five days, neither ten days, nor twenty days;
11:20 코에서 넘쳐서 싫어하기까지 일 개월간을 먹게 하시리니 이는 너희가 너희
중에 거하시는 여호와를 멸시하고 그 앞에서 울며 이르기를 우리가 어찌하여 애굽에서
나왔던고 함이라 하라
11:20 But every day for a month, till you are tired of it, turning from it in disgust:
because you have gone against the Lord who is with you, and have been weeping before
him saying, Why did we come out of Egypt?
11:20 But even a whole month, until it come out at your nostrils, and it be loathsome unto you: because that all of you have despised the LORD which is among you, and have wept before him, saying, Why came we forth out of Egypt?
11:21 모세가 가로되 나와 함께 있는 이 백성의 보행자가 육십 만 명이온데 주의
말씀이 일 개월간 고기를 주어 먹게 하겠다 하시오니
11:21 Then Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand men on foot;
and you have said, I will give them flesh to be their food for a month.
11:21 And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and you have said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
11:22 그들을 위하여 양 떼와 소 떼를 잡은들 족하오며 바다의 모든 고기를 모은들
족하오리이까
11:22 Are flocks and herds to be put to death for them? or are all the fish in the sea
to be got together so that they may be full?
11:22 Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
11:23 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 여호와의 손이 짧아졌느냐 네가 이제 내
말이 네게 응하는 여부를 보리라
11:23 And the Lord said to Moses, Has the Lord's hand become short? Now you will see if
my word comes true for you or not.
11:23 And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? you shall see now whether my word shall come to pass unto you or not.
11:24 ○ 모세가 나가서 여호와의 말씀을 백성에게 고하고 백성의 장로 칠십 인을
모아 장막에 둘러 세우매
11:24 And Moses went out and gave the people the words of the Lord: and he took seventy
of the responsible men of the people, placing them round the Tent.
11:24 And Moses went out, and told the people the words of the LORD, and gathered the seventy men of the elders of the people, and set them round about the tabernacle.
11:25 여호와께서 구름 가운데 강림하사 모세에게 말씀하시고 그에게 임한 신을
칠십 장로에게도 임하게 하시니 신이 임하신 때에 그들이 예언을 하다가 다시는 아니하였더라
11:25 Then the Lord came down in the cloud and had talk with him, and put on the seventy
men some of the spirit which was on him: now when the spirit came to rest on them,
they were like prophets, but only at that time.
11:25 And the LORD came down in a cloud, and spoke unto him, and took of the spirit that was upon him, and gave it unto the seventy elders: and it came to pass, that, when the spirit rested upon them, they prophesied, and did not cease.
11:26 ○ 그 녹명된 자 중 엘닷이라 하는 자와 메닷이라 하는 자 두 사람이 진에
머물고 회막에 나아가지 아니하였으나 그들에게도 신이 임하였으므로 진에서 예언한지라
11:26 But two men were still in the tent-circle one of them named Eldad and the other
Medad: and the spirit came to rest on them; they were among those who had been sent
for, but they had not gone out to the Tent: and the prophet's power came on them
in the tent-circle.
11:26 But there remained two of the men in the camp, the name of the one was Eldad, and the name of the other Medad: and the spirit rested upon them; and they were of them that were written, but went not out unto the tabernacle: and they prophesied in the camp.
11:27 한 소년이 달려와서 모세에게 고하여 가로되 엘닷과 메닷이 진 중에서 예언하더이다

11:27 And a young man went running to Moses and said, Eldad and Medad are acting as prophets
in the tent-circle.
11:27 And there ran a young man, and told Moses, and said, Eldad and Medad do prophesy in the camp.
11:28 택한 자 중 한 사람 곧 모세를 섬기는 눈의 아들 여호수아가 말하여 가로되
내 주 모세여 금하소서
11:28 Then Joshua, the son of Nun, who had been Moses' servant from the time when he was
a child, said, My lord Moses, let them be stopped.
11:28 And Joshua the son of Nun, the servant of Moses, one of his young men, answered and said, My lord Moses, forbid them.
11:29 모세가 그에게 이르되 네가 나를 위하여 시기하느냐 여호와께서 그 신을
그 모든 백성에게 주사 다 선지자 되게 하시기를 원하노라
11:29 And Moses said to him, Are you moved by envy on my account? If only all the Lord's
people were prophets, and the Lord might put his spirit on them!
11:29 And Moses said unto him, Envy you for my sake? would God that all the LORD's people were prophets, and that the LORD would put his spirit upon them!
11:30 모세와 이스라엘 장로들이 진 중으로 돌아왔더라
11:30 Then Moses, with the responsible men of Israel, went back to the tent-circle.
11:30 And Moses got him into the camp, he and the elders of Israel.
11:31 ○ 바람이 여호와에게로서 나와 바다에서부터 메추라기를 몰아 진 곁 이편
저편 곧 진 사방으로 각기 하룻길 되는 지면 위 두 규빗쯤에 내리게 한지라
11:31 Then the Lord sent a wind, driving little birds from the sea, so that they came
down on the tents, and all round the tent-circle, about a day's journey on this
side and on that, in masses about two cubits high over the face of the earth.
11:31 And there went forth a wind from the LORD, and brought quails from the sea, and let them fall by the camp, as it were a day's journey on this side, and as it were a day's journey on the other side, round about the camp, and as it were two cubits high upon the face of the earth.
11:32 백성이 일어나 종일 종야와 그 이튿날 종일토록 메추라기를 모으니 적게
모은 자도 십 호멜이라 그들이 자기를 위하여 진 사면에 펴 두었더라
11:32 And all that day and all night and the day after, the people were taking up the
birds; the smallest amount which anyone got was ten homers: and they put them out
all round the tents.
11:32 And the people stood up all that day, and all that night, and all the next day, and they gathered the quails: he that gathered least gathered ten homers: and they spread them all abroad for themselves round about the camp.
11:33 고기가 아직 잇사이에 있어 씹히기 전에 여호와께서 백성에게 대하여 진노하사
심히 큰 재앙으로 치셨으므로
11:33 But while the meat was still between their teeth, before it was tasted, the wrath
of the Lord was moved against the people and he sent a great outburst of disease
on them.
11:33 And while the flesh was yet between their teeth, before it was chewed, the wrath of the LORD was kindled against the people, and the LORD stroke the people with a very great plague.
11:34 그 곳 이름을 기브롯 핫다아와라 칭하였으니 탐욕을 낸 백성을 거기 장사함이었더라
11:34 So that place was named Kibroth-hattaavah; because there they put in the earth the
bodies of the people who had given way to their desires.
11:34 And he called the name of that place Kibrothhattaavah: because there they buried the people that lusted.
11:35 백성이 기브롯 핫다아와에서 진행하여 하세롯에 이르러 거기 거하니라
11:35 From Kibroth-hattaavah the people went on to Hazeroth; and there they put up their
tents.
11:35 And the people journeyed from Kibrothhattaavah unto Hazeroth; and abode at Hazeroth.
12:1 모세가 구스 여자를 취하였더니 그 구스 여자를 취하였으므로 미리암과 아론이
모세를 비방하니라
12:1 Now Miriam and Aaron said evil against Moses, because of the Cushite woman to whom
he was married, for he had taken a Cushite woman as his wife.
12:1 And Miriam and Aaron spoke against Moses because of the Ethiopian woman whom he had married: for he had married an Ethiopian woman.
12:2 그들이 이르되 여호와께서 모세와만 말씀하셨느냐 우리와도 말씀하지 아니하셨느냐
하매 여호와께서 이 말을 들으셨더라
12:2 And they said, Have the words of the Lord been given to Moses only? have they not
come to us? And the Lord took note of it.
12:2 And they said, Has the LORD indeed spoken only by Moses? has he not spoken also by us? And the LORD heard it.
12:3 이 사람 모세는 온유함이 지면의 모든 사람보다 승하더라
12:3 Now the man Moses was more gentle than any other man on earth.
12:3 (Now the man Moses was very meek, above all the men which were upon the face of the earth.)
12:4 ○ 여호와께서 갑자기 모세와 아론과 미리암에게 이르시되 너희 삼 인은 회막으로
나아오라 하시니 그 삼 인이 나아가매
12:4 And suddenly the Lord said to Moses and Aaron and Miriam, Come out, you three, to
the Tent of meeting. And the three of them went out.
12:4 And the LORD spoke suddenly unto Moses, and unto Aaron, and unto Miriam, Come out all of you three unto the tabernacle of the congregation. And they three came out.
12:5 여호와께서 구름 기둥 가운데로서 강림하사 장막 문에 서시고 아론과 미리암을
부르시는지라 그 두 사람이 나아가매
12:5 And the Lord came down in a pillar of cloud, taking his place at the door of the
Tent, and made Aaron and Miriam come before him.
12:5 And the LORD came down in the pillar of the cloud, and stood in the door of the tabernacle, and called Aaron and Miriam: and they both came forth.
12:6 이르시되 내 말을 들으라 너희 중에 선지자가 있으면 나 여호와가 이상으로
나를 그에게 알리기도 하고 꿈으로 그와 말하기도 하거니와
12:6 And he said, Now give ear to my words: if there is a prophet among you I will give
him knowledge of myself in a vision and will let my words come to him in a dream.
12:6 And he said, Hear now my words: If there be a prophet among you, I the LORD will make myself known unto him in a vision, and will speak unto him in a dream.
12:7 내 종 모세와는 그렇지 아니하니 그는 나의 온 집에 충성됨이라
12:7 My servant Moses is not so; he is true to me in all my house:
12:7 My servant Moses is not so, who is faithful in all mine house.
12:8 그와는 내가 대면하여 명백히 말하고 은밀한 말로 아니하며 그는 또 여호와의
형상을 보겠거늘 너희가 어찌하여 내 종 모세 비방하기를 두려워 아니하느냐
12:8 With him I will have talk mouth to mouth, openly and not in dark sayings; and with
his eyes he will see the form of the Lord: why then had you no fear of saying evil
against my servant Moses?
12:8 With him will I speak mouth to mouth, even apparently, and not in dark speeches; and the embodiment of the LORD shall he behold: wherefore then were all of you not afraid to speak against my servant Moses?
12:9 여호와께서 그들을 향하여 진노하시고 떠나시매
12:9 And burning with wrath against them, the Lord went away.
12:9 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against them; and he departed.
12:10 구름이 장막 위에서 떠나갔고 미리암은 문둥병이 들려 눈과 같더라 아론이
미리암을 본즉 문둥병이 들었는지라
12:10 And the cloud was moved from over the Tent; and straight away Miriam became a leper,
as white as snow: and Aaron, looking at Miriam, saw that she was a leper.
12:10 And the cloud departed from off the tabernacle; and, behold, Miriam became leprous, white as snow: and Aaron looked upon Miriam, and, behold, she was leprous.
12:11 아론이 이에 모세에게 이르되 슬프다 내 주여 우리가 우매한 일을 하여
죄를 얻었으나 청컨대 그 허물을 우리에게 돌리지 마소서
12:11 Then Aaron said to Moses, O my lord, let not our sin be on our heads, for we have
done foolishly and are sinners.
12:11 And Aaron said unto Moses, Alas, my lord, I plead to you, lay not the sin upon us, wherein we have done foolishly, and wherein we have sinned.
12:12 그로 살이 반이나 썩고 죽어서 모태에서 나온 자 같이 되게 마옵소서
12:12 Let her not be as one dead, whose flesh is half wasted when he comes out from the
body of his mother.
12:12 Let her not be as one dead, of whom the flesh is half consumed when he comes out of his mother's womb.
12:13 모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 가로되 하나님이여 원컨대 그를 고쳐 주옵소서
12:13 And Moses, crying to the Lord, said, Let my prayer come before you, O God, and make
her well.
12:13 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, Heal her now, O God, I plead to you.
12:14 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 그의 아비가 그의 얼굴에 침을 뱉었을지라도
그가 칠 일 간 부끄러워하지 않겠느냐 그런즉 그를 진 밖에 칠 일을 가두고 그 후에
들어오게 할지니라 하시니
12:14 And the Lord said to Moses, If her father had put a mark of shame on her, would
she not be shamed for seven days? Let her be shut up outside the tent-circle for
seven days, and after that she may come in again.
12:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, If her father had but spit in her face, should she not be ashamed seven days? let her be shut out from the camp seven days, and after that let her be received in again.
12:15 이에 미리암이 진 밖에 칠 일 동안 갇혔고 백성은 그를 다시 들어오게 하기까지
진행치 아니하다가
12:15 So Miriam was shut up outside the tent-circle for seven days: and the people did
not go forward on their journey till Miriam had come in again.
12:15 And Miriam was shut out from the camp seven days: and the people journeyed not till Miriam was brought in again.
12:16 그 후에 백성이 하세롯에서 진행하여 바란 광야에 진을 치니라
12:16 After that, the people went on from Hazeroth and put up their tents in the waste
land of Paran.
12:16 And afterward the people removed from Hazeroth, and pitched in the wilderness of Paran.
13:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
13:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
13:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
13:2 사람을 보내어 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 주는 가나안 땅을 탐지하게 하되
그 종족의 각 지파 중에서 족장 된 자 한 사람씩 보내라
13:2 Send men to get knowledge about the land of Canaan, which I am giving to the children
of Israel; from every tribe of their fathers you are to send a man, every one a
chief among them.
13:2 Send you men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall all of you send a man, every one a ruler among them.
13:3 모세가 여호와의 명을 좇아 바란 광야에서 그들을 보내었으니 그들은 다
이스라엘 자손의 두령된 사람이라
13:3 And Moses sent them from the waste land of Paran as the Lord gave orders, all of
them men who were heads of the children of Israel.
13:3 And Moses by the commandment of the LORD sent them from the wilderness of Paran: all those men were heads of the children of Israel.
13:4 그들의 이름은 이러하니라 르우벤 지파에서는 삭굴의 아들 삼무아요
13:4 And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua, the son of Zaccur.
13:4 And these were their names: of the tribe of Reuben, Shammua the son of Zaccur.
13:5 시므온 지파에서는 호리의 아들 사밧이요
13:5 Of the tribe of Simeon, Shaphat, the son of Hori.

13:6 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요
13:6 Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb, the son of Jephunneh.

13:8 Of the tribe of Ephraim, Hoshea, the son of Nun.

13:9 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Palti, the son of Raphu.

13:10 Of the tribe of Zebulun, Gaddiel, the son of Sodi.

13:11 Of the tribe of Joseph, that is of the family of Manasseh, Gaddi, the son of Susi.

13:14 Of the tribe of Naphtali, Nahbi, the son of Vophsi.

13:15 Of the tribe of Gad, Gevel, the son of Machi.

13:16 이는 모세가 땅을 탐지하러 보낸 자들의 이름이라 모세가 눈의 아들 호세아를
여호수아라 칭하였더라
13:16 These are the names of the men whom Moses sent to get knowledge about the land.
And Moses gave to Hoshea, the son of Nun, the name of Joshua.
13:16 These are the names of the men which Moses sent to spy out the land. And Moses called Oshea the son of Nun Jehoshua.
13:17 ○ 모세가 가나안 땅을 탐지하러 그들을 보내며 이르되 너희는 남방 길로
행하여 산지로 올라가서
13:17 So Moses sent them to have a look at the land of Canaan, and said to them, Go up
into the South and into the hill-country;
13:17 And Moses sent them to spy out the land of Canaan, and said unto them, Get you up this way southward, and go up into the mountain:
13:18 그 땅의 어떠함을 탐지하라 곧 그 땅 거민의 강약과 다소와
13:18 And see what the land is like; and if the people living in it are strong or feeble,
small or great in number;
13:18 And see the land, what it is, and the people that dwells therein, whether they be strong or weak, few or many;
13:19 그들의 거하는 땅의 호 불호와 거하는 성읍이 진영인지 산성인지와
13:19 And what sort of land they are living in, if it is good or bad; and what their living-places
are, tent-circles or walled towns;
13:19 And what the land is that they dwell in, whether it be good or bad; and what cities they be that they dwell in, whether in tents, or in strong holds;
13:20 토지의 후박과 수목의 유무니라 담대하라 또 그 땅 실과를 가져오라 하니
그때는 포도가 처음 익을 즈음이었더라
13:20 And if the land is fertile or poor, and if there is wood in it or not. And be of
good heart, and come back with some of the produce of the land. Now it was the time
when the first grapes were ready.
13:20 And what the land is, whether it be fat or lean, whether there be wood therein, or not. And be all of you of good courage, and bring of the fruit of the land. Now the time was the time of the first-fruits grapes.
13:21 ○ 이에 그들이 올라가서 땅을 탐지하되 신 광야에서부터 하맛 어귀 르홉에
이르렀고
13:21 So they went up and got a view of the land, from the waste land of Zin to Rehob,
on the way to Hamath.
13:21 So they went up, and searched the land from the wilderness of Zin unto Rehob, as men come to Hamath.
13:22 또 남방으로 올라가서 헤브론에 이르렀으니 헤브론은 애굽 소안보다 칠
년 전에 세운 곳이라 그 곳에 아낙 자손 아히만과 세새와 달매가 있었더라
13:22 They went up into the South and came to Hebron; and Ahiman and Sheshai and Talmai,
the children of Anak, were living there. (Now the building of Hebron took place
seven years before that of Zoan in Egypt.)
13:22 And they ascended by the south, and came unto Hebron; where Ahiman, Sheshai, and Talmai, the children of Anak, were. (Now Hebron was built seven years before Zoan in Egypt.)
13:23 또 에스골 골짜기에 이르러 거기서 포도 한 송이 달린 가지를 베어 둘이
막대기에 꿰어 메고 또 석류와 무화과를 취하니라
13:23 And they came to the valley of Eshcol, and cutting down a vine-branch with its grapes,
two of them took it on a rod between them; and they took some pomegranates and figs.
13:23 And they came unto the brook of Eshcol, and cut down from thence a branch with one cluster of grapes, and they bare it between two upon a staff; and they brought of the pomegranates, and of the figs.
13:24 이스라엘 자손이 거기서 포도송이를 벤 고로 그 곳을 에스골 골짜기라 칭하였더라
13:24 That place was named the valley of Eshcol because of the grapes which the children
of Israel took from there.
13:24 The place was called the brook Eshcol, because of the cluster of grapes which the children of Israel cut down from thence.
13:25 사십 일 동안에 땅을 탐지하기를 마치고 돌아와
13:25 At the end of forty days they came back from viewing the land.
13:25 And they returned from searching of the land after forty days.
13:26 바란 광야 가데스에 이르러 모세와 아론과 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게
나아와 그들에게 회보하고 그 땅 실과를 보이고
13:26 And they came back to Moses and Aaron and all the children of Israel, to Kadesh
in the waste land of Paran; and gave an account to them and to all the people and
let them see the produce of the land.
13:26 And they went and came to Moses, and to Aaron, and to all the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the wilderness of Paran, to Kadesh; and brought back word unto them, and unto all the congregation, and showed them the fruit of the land.
13:27 모세에게 보고하여 가로되 당신이 우리를 보낸 땅에 간즉 과연 젖과 꿀이
그 땅에 흐르고 이것은 그 땅의 실과니이다
13:27 And they said, We came to the land where you sent us, and truly it is flowing with
milk and honey: and here is some of the produce of it.
13:27 And they told him, and said, We came unto the land where you sent us, and surely it flows with milk and honey; and this is the fruit of it.
13:28 그러나 그 땅 거민은 강하고 성읍은 견고하고 심히 클 뿐 아니라 거기서
아낙 자손을 보았으며
13:28 But the people living in the land are strong, and the towns are walled and very
great; further, we saw the children of Anak there.
13:28 Nevertheless the people be strong that dwell in the land, and the cities are walled, and very great: and moreover we saw the children of Anak there.
13:29 아말렉인은 남방 땅에 거하고 헷인과 여부스인과 아모리인은 산지에 거하고
가나안인은 해변과 요단 가에 거하더이다
13:29 And the Amalekites are in the South; and the Hittites and the Jebusites and the
Amorites are living in the hill-country; and the Canaanites by the sea and by the
side of Jordan.
13:29 The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.
13:30 ○ 갈렙이 모세 앞에서 백성을 안돈시켜 가로되 우리가 곧 올라가서 그
땅을 취하자 능히 이기리라 하나
13:30 Then Caleb made signs to the people to keep quiet, and said to Moses, Let us go
up straight away and take this land; for we are well able to overcome it.
13:30 And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.
13:31 그와 함께 올라갔던 사람들은 가로되 우리는 능히 올라가서 그 백성을 치지
못하리라 그들은 우리보다 강하니라 하고
13:31 But the men who had gone up with him said, We are not able to go up against the
people, for they are stronger than we.
13:31 But the men that went up with him said, We be not able to go up against the people; for they are stronger than we.
13:32 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 그 탐지한 땅을 악평하여 가로되 우리가 두루 다니며
탐지한 땅은 그 거민을 삼키는 땅이요 거기서 본 모든 백성은 신장이 장대한 자들이며
13:32 And they gave the children of Israel a bad account of the land they had been to
see, saying, This land through which we went is a land causing destruction to those
living in it; and all the people we saw there are men of more than common size.
13:32 And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eats up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature.
13:33 거기서 또 네피림 후손 아낙 자손 대장부들을 보았나니 우리는 스스로 보기에도
메뚜기 같으니 그들의 보기에도 그와 같았을 것이니라
13:33 There we saw those great men, the sons of Anak, offspring of the Nephilim: and we
seemed to ourselves no more than insects, and so we seemed to them.
13:33 And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.
14:1 온 회중이 소리를 높여 부르짖으며 밤새도록 백성이 곡하였더라
14:1 Then all the people gave load cries of grief, and all that night they gave themselves
up to weeping.
14:1 And all the congregation lifted up their voice, and cried; and the people wept that night.
14:2 이스라엘 자손이 다 모세와 아론을 원망하며 온 회중이 그들에게 이르되
우리가 애굽 땅에서 죽었거나 이 광야에서 죽었더면 좋았을 것을
14:2 And all the children of Israel, crying out against Moses and Aaron, said, If only
we had come to our death in the land of Egypt, or even in this waste land!
14:2 And all the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron: and the whole congregation said unto them, Would God that we had died in the land of Egypt! or would God we had died in this wilderness!
14:3 어찌하여 여호와가 우리를 그 땅으로 인도하여 칼에 망하게 하려 하는고
우리 처자가 사로잡히리니 애굽으로 돌아가는 것이 낫지 아니하랴
14:3 Why is the Lord taking us into this land to come to our death by the sword? Our
wives and our little ones will get into strange hands: would it not be better for
us to go back to Egypt?
14:3 And wherefore has the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
14:4 ○ 이에 서로 말하되 우리가 한 장관을 세우고 애굽으로 돌아가자 하매
14:4 And they said to one another, Let us make a captain over us, and go back to Egypt.
14:4 And they said one to another, Let us make a captain, and let us return into Egypt.
14:5 모세와 아론이 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중 앞에서 엎드린지라
14:5 Then Moses and Aaron went down on their faces before the meeting of the people.
14:5 Then Moses and Aaron fell on their faces before all the assembly of the congregation of the children of Israel.
14:6 그 땅을 탐지한 자 중 눈의 아들 여호수아와 여분네의 아들 갈렙이 그 옷을
찢고
14:6 And Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, two of those who had
been to see the land, giving signs of grief,
14:6 And Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of them that searched the land, rent their clothes:
14:7 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에 일러 가로되 우리가 두루 다니며 탐지한 땅은
심히 아름다운 땅이라
14:7 Said to all the children of Israel, This land which we went through to see is a
very good land.
14:7 And they spoke unto all the company of the children of Israel, saying, The land, which we passed through to search it, is an exceeding good land.
14:8 여호와께서 우리를 기뻐하시면 우리를 그 땅으로 인도하여 들이시고 그 땅을
우리에게 주시리라 이는 과연 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅이니라
14:8 And if the Lord has delight in us, he will take us into this land and give it to
us, a land flowing with milk and honey.
14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which flows with milk and honey.
14:9 오직 여호와를 거역하지 말라 또 그 땅 백성을 두려워하지 말라 그들은 우리
밥이라 그들의 보호자는 그들에게서 떠났고 여호와는 우리와 함께 하시느니라 그들을
두려워 말라 하나
14:9 Only, do not go against the Lord or go in fear of the people of the land, for they
will be our food; their strength has been taken from them and the Lord is with us:
have no fear of them.
14:9 Only rebel not all of you against the LORD, neither fear all of you the people of the land; for they are bread for us: their defence is departed from them, and the LORD is with us: fear them not.
14:10 온 회중이 그들을 돌로 치려 하는 동시에 여호와의 영광이 회막에서 이스라엘
모든 자손에게 나타나시니라
14:10 But all the people said they were to be stoned. Then the glory of the Lord was seen
in the Tent of meeting, before the eyes of all the children of Israel.
14:10 But all the congregation bade stone them with stones. And the glory of the LORD appeared in the tabernacle of the congregation before all the children of Israel.
14:11 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 이 백성이 어느 때까지 나를 멸시하겠느냐
내가 그들 중에 모든 이적을 행한 것도 생각하지 아니하고 어느 때까지 나를 믿지
않겠느냐
14:11 And the Lord said to Moses, How long will this people have no respect for me? how
long will they be without faith, in the face of all the signs I have done among
them?
14:11 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long will this people provoke me? and how long will it be before they believe me, for all the signs which I have showed among them?
14:12 내가 전염병으로 그들을 쳐서 멸하고 너로 그들보다 크고 강한 나라를 이루게
하리라
14:12 I will send disease on them for their destruction, and take away their heritage,
and I will make of you a nation greater and stronger than they.
14:12 I will strike them with the pestilence, and disinherit them, and will make of you a greater nation and mightier than they.
14:13 ○ 모세가 여호와께 여짜오되 애굽인 중에서 주의 능력으로 이 백성을 인도하여
내셨거늘 그리하시면 그들이 듣고
14:13 And Moses said to the Lord, Then it will come to the ears of the Egyptians; for
by your power you took this people out from among them;
14:13 And Moses said unto the LORD, Then the Egyptians shall hear it, (for you brought up this people in your might from among them;)
14:14 이 땅 거민에게 고하리이다 주 여호와께서 이 백성 중에 계심을 그들도
들었으니 곧 주 여호와께서 대면하여 보이시며 주의 구름이 그들 위에 섰으며 주께서
낮에는 구름기둥 가운데서 밤에는 불기둥 가운데서 그들 앞에서 행하시는 것이니이다
14:14 And they will give the news to the people of this land: they have had word that
you, Lord, are present with this people, letting yourself be seen face to face,
and that your cloud is resting over them, and that you go before them in a pillar
of cloud by day and in a pillar of fire by night.
14:14 And they will tell it to the inhabitants of this land: for they have heard that you LORD are among this people, that you LORD are seen face to face, and that your cloud stands over them, and that you go before them, by day time in a pillar of a cloud, and in a pillar of fire by night.
14:15 이제 주께서 이 백성을 한 사람 같이 죽이시면 주의 명성을 들은 열국이
말하여 이르기를
14:15 Now if you put to death all this people as one man, then the nations who have had
word of your glory will say,
14:15 Now if you shall kill all this people as one man, then the nations which have heard the fame of you will speak, saying,
14:16 여호와가 이 백성에게 주기로 맹세한 땅에 인도할 능이 없는 고로 광야에서
죽였다 하리이다
14:16 Because the Lord was not able to take this people into the land which he made an
oath to give them, he sent destruction on them in the waste land.
14:16 Because the LORD was not able to bring this people into the land which he swore unto them, therefore he has slain them in the wilderness.
14:17 이제 구하옵나니 이미 말씀하신 대로 주의 큰 권능을 나타내옵소서 이르시기를
14:17 So now, may my prayer come before you, and let the power of the Lord be great, as
you said:
14:17 And now, I plead to you, let the power of my LORD be great, according as you have spoken, saying,
14:18 여호와는 노하기를 더디하고 인자가 많아 죄악과 과실을 사하나 형벌 받을
자는 결단코 사하지 아니하고 아비의 죄악을 자식에게 갚아 삼, 사 대까지 이르게
하리라 하셨나이다
14:18 The Lord is slow to wrath and great in mercy, overlooking wrongdoing and evil, and
will not let wrongdoers go free; sending punishment on children for the sins of
their fathers, to the third and fourth generation.
14:18 The LORD is longsuffering, and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression, and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.
14:19 구하옵나니 주의 인자의 광대하심을 따라 이 백성의 죄악을 사하시되 애굽에서부터
지금까지 이 백성을 사하신 것 같이 사하옵소서
14:19 May the sin of this people have forgiveness, in the measure of your great mercy,
as you have had mercy on them from Egypt up till now.
14:19 Pardon, I plead to you, the iniquity of this people according unto the greatness of your mercy, and as you have forgiven this people, from Egypt even until now.
14:20 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 내가 네 말대로 사하노라
14:20 And the Lord said, I have had mercy, as you say:
14:20 And the LORD said, I have pardoned according to your word:
14:21 그러나 진실로 나의 사는 것과 여호와의 영광이 온 세계에 충만할 것으로
맹세하노니
14:21 But truly, as I am living, and as all the earth will be full of the glory of the
Lord;
14:21 But as truly as I live, all the earth shall be filled with the glory of the LORD.
14:22 나의 영광과 애굽과 광야에서 행한 나의 이적을 보고도 이같이 열 번이나
나를 시험하고 내 목소리를 청종치 아니한 그 사람들은
14:22 Because all these men, having seen my glory and the signs which I have done in Egypt
and in the waste land, still have put me to the test ten times, and have not given
ear to my voice;
14:22 Because all those men which have seen my glory, and my miracles, which I did in Egypt and in the wilderness, and have tempted me now these ten times, and have not hearkened to my voice;
14:23 내가 그 조상들에게 맹세한 땅을 결단코 보지 못할 것이요 또 나를 멸시하는
사람은 하나라도 그것을 보지 못하리라
14:23 They will not see the land about which I made an oath to their fathers; not one
of these by whom I have not been honoured will see it.
14:23 Surely they shall not see the land which I swore unto their fathers, neither shall any of them that provoked me see it:
14:24 오직 내 종 갈렙은 그 마음이 그들과 달라서 나를 온전히 좇았은즉 그의
갔던 땅으로 내가 그를 인도하여 들이리니 그 자손이 그 땅을 차지하리라
14:24 But my servant Caleb, because he had a different spirit in him, and has been true
to me with all his heart, him I will take into that land into which he went, and
his seed will have it for their heritage.
14:24 But my servant Caleb, because he had another spirit with him, and has followed me fully, him will I bring into the land into where he went; and his seed shall possess it.
14:25 아말렉인과 가나안인이 골짜기에 거하나니 너희는 내일 돌이켜 홍해 길로
하여 광야로 들어갈지니라
14:25 Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites are in the valley; tomorrow, turning round,
go into the waste land by the way to the Red Sea.
14:25 (Now the Amalekites and the Canaanites dwelt in the valley.) Tomorrow turn you, and get you into the wilderness by the way of the Red sea.
14:26 ○ 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대
14:26 Then the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
14:26 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
14:27 나를 원망하는 이 악한 회중을 내가 어느 때까지 참으랴 이스라엘 자손이
나를 향하여 원망하는 바 그 원망하는 말을 내가 들었노라
14:27 How long am I to put up with this evil people and their outcries against me? The
words which they say against me have come to my ears.
14:27 How long shall I bear with this evil congregation, which murmur against me? I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against me.
14:28 그들에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 나의 삶을 가리켜 맹세하노라 너희
말이 내 귀에 들린 대로 내가 너희에게 행하리니
14:28 Say to them, By my life, says the Lord, as certainly as your words have come to
my ears, so certainly will I do this to you:
14:28 Say unto them, As truly as I live, says the LORD, as all of you have spoken in mine ears, so will I do to you:
14:29 너희 시체가 이 광야에 엎드러질 것이라 너희 이십 세 이상으로 계수함을
받은 자 곧 나를 원망한 자의 전부가
14:29 Your dead bodies will be stretched out in this waste land; and of all your number,
all those of twenty years old and over who have been crying out against me,
14:29 Your carcasses shall fall in this wilderness; and all that were numbered of you, according to your whole number, from twenty years old and upward which have murmured against me.
14:30 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아 외에는 내가 맹세하여 너희로
거하게 하리라 한 땅에 결단코 들어가지 못하리라
14:30 Not one will come into the land which I gave my word you would have for your resting-place,
but only Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua, the son of Nun.
14:30 Doubtless all of you shall not come into the land, concerning which I swore to make you dwell therein, save Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
14:31 너희가 사로잡히겠다고 말하던 너희의 유아들은 내가 인도하여 들이리니
그들은 너희가 싫어하던 땅을 보려니와
14:31 And your little ones, whom you said would come into strange hands, I will take in,
and they will see the land which you would not have.
14:31 But your little ones, which all of you said should be a prey, them will I bring in, and they shall know the land which all of you have despised.
14:32 너희 시체는 이 광야에 엎드러질 것이요
14:32 But as for you, your dead bodies will be stretched in this waste land.
14:32 But as for you, your carcasses, they shall fall in this wilderness.
14:33 너희 자녀들은 너희의 패역한 죄를 지고 너희의 시체가 광야에서 소멸되기까지
사십 년을 광야에서 유리하는 자가 되리라
14:33 And your children will be wanderers in the waste land for forty years, undergoing
punishment for your false ways, till your bodies become dust in the waste land.
14:33 And your children shall wander in the wilderness forty years, and bear your whoredoms, until your carcasses be wasted in the wilderness.
14:34 너희가 그 땅을 탐지한 날 수 사십 일의 하루를 일 년으로 환산하여 그
사십 년 간 너희가 너희의 죄악을 질지니 너희가 나의 싫어 버림을 알리라 하셨다
하라
14:34 And as you went through the land viewing it for forty days, so for forty years,
a year for every day, you will undergo punishment for your wrongdoing, and you will
see that I am against you.
14:34 After the number of the days in which all of you searched the land, even forty days, each day for a year, shall all of you bear your iniquities, even forty years, and all of you shall know my breach of promise.
14:35 나 여호와가 말하였거니와 모여 나를 거역하는 이 악한 온 회중에게 내가
단정코 이같이 행하리니 그들이 이 광야에서 소멸되어 거기서 죽으리라
14:35 I the Lord have said it, and this I will certainly do to all this evil people who
have come together against me: in this waste land destruction will come on them,
and death will be their fate.
14:35 I the LORD have said, I will surely do it unto all this evil congregation, that are gathered together against me: in this wilderness they shall be consumed, and there they shall die.
14:36 ○ 모세의 보냄을 받고 땅을 탐지하고 돌아와서 그 땅을 악평하여 온 회중으로
모세를 원망케 한 사람
14:36 And the men whom Moses sent to see the land, and who, by the bad account they gave
of the land, were the cause of the outcry the people made against Moses,
14:36 And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,
14:37 곧 그 땅에 대하여 악평한 자들은 여호와 앞에서 재앙으로 죽었고
14:37 Those same men who said evil of the land, came to their death by disease before
the Lord.
14:37 Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before the LORD.
14:38 그 땅을 탐지하러 갔던 사람들 중에 오직 눈의 아들 여호수아와 여분네의
아들 갈렙은 생존하니라
14:38 But Joshua, the son of Nun, and Caleb, the son of Jephunneh, of those who went to
see the land, were not touched by disease.
14:38 But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.
14:39 ○ 모세가 이 말로 이스라엘 모든 자손에게 고하매 백성이 크게 슬퍼하여
14:39 And when Moses put these words before the children of Israel, the people were full
of grief.
14:39 And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.
14:40 아침에 일찌기 일어나 산 꼭대기로 올라가며 가로되 보소서 우리가 여기
있나이다 우리가 여호와의 허락하신 곳으로 올라가리니 우리가 범죄하였음이니이다
14:40 And early in the morning they got up and went to the top of the mountain, saying,
We are here and we will go up to the place which the Lord said he would give us:
for we have done wrong.
14:40 And they rose up early in the morning, and got them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which the LORD has promised: for we have sinned.
14:41 모세가 가로되 너희가 어찌하여 이제 여호와의 명령을 범하느냐 이 일이
형통치 못하리라
14:41 And Moses said, Why are you now acting against the Lord's order, seeing that no
good will come of it?
14:41 And Moses said, Wherefore now do all of you transgress the commandment of the LORD? but it shall not prosper.
14:42 여호와께서 너희 중에 계시지 아니하니 올라가지 말라 너희 대적 앞에서
패할까 하노라
14:42 Go not up, for the Lord is not with you, and you will be overcome by those who are
fighting against you.
14:42 Go not up, for the LORD is not among you; that all of you be not smitten before your enemies.
14:43 아말렉인과 가나안인이 너희 앞에 있으니 너희가 그 칼에 망하리라 너희가
여호와를 배반하였으니 여호와께서 너희와 함께 하지 아니하시리라 하나
14:43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you will be put
to death by their swords: because you have gone back from the way of the Lord, the
Lord will not be with you.
14:43 For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and all of you shall fall by the sword: because all of you are turned away from the LORD, therefore the LORD will not be with you.
14:44 그들이 그래도 산 꼭대기로 올라갔고 여호와의 언약궤와 모세는 진을 떠나지
아니하였더라
14:44 But they gave no attention to his words and went to the top of the mountain, though
Moses and the ark of the Lord's agreement did not go out of the tent-circle.
14:44 But they presumed to go up unto the hill top: nevertheless the ark of the covenant of the LORD, and Moses, departed not out of the camp.
14:45 아말렉인과 산지에 거하는 가나안인이 내려와 쳐서 파하고 호르마까지 이르렀더라
14:45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites who were living in the hill-country,
and overcame them completely, driving them back as far as Hormah.
14:45 Then the Amalekites came down, and the Canaanites which dwelt in that hill, and stroke them, and humiliated them, even unto Hormah.
15:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
15:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
15:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
15:2 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 내가 주어 거하게 할
땅에 들어가서
15:2 Say to the children of Israel, When you have come into the land which I am giving
to you for your resting-place,
15:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you be come into the land of your habitations, which I give unto you,
15:3 여호와께 화제나 번제나 서원을 갚는 제나 낙헌제나 정한 절기제에 소나
양으로 여호와께 향기롭게 드릴 때에는
15:3 And are going to make an offering by fire to the Lord, a burned offering or an offering
in connection with an oath, or an offering freely given, or at your regular feasts,
an offering for a sweet smell to the Lord, from the herd or the flock:
15:3 And will make an offering by fire unto the LORD, a burnt offering, or a sacrifice in performing a vow, or in a freewill offering, or in your solemn feasts, to make a sweet savour unto the LORD, of the herd or of the flock:
15:4 그 예물을 드리는 자는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 일에 기름 한 힌의 사분지
일을 섞어 여호와께 소제로 드릴 것이며
15:4 Then let him who is making his offering, give to the Lord a meal offering of a tenth
part of a measure of the best meal mixed with a fourth part of a hin of oil:
15:4 Then shall he that offers his offering unto the LORD bring a food offering of a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of oil.
15:5 번제나 다른 제사로 드리는 제물이 어린 양이면 전제로 포도주 한 힌의 사분
일을 예비할 것이요
15:5 And for the drink offering, you are to give with the burned offering or other offering,
the fourth part of a hin of wine for every lamb.
15:5 And the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering shall you prepare with the burnt offering or sacrifice, for one lamb.
15:6 수양이면 소제로 고운 가루 한 에바 십분지 이에 기름 한 힌의 삼분지 일을
섞어 예비하고
15:6 Or for a male sheep, give as a meal offering two tenth parts of a measure of the
best meal mixed with a third part of a hin of oil:
15:6 Or for a ram, you shall prepare for a food offering two tenth deals of flour mingled with the third part of an hin of oil.
15:7 전제로 포도주 한 힌의 삼분지 일을 드려 여호와 앞에 향기롭게 할 것이요
15:7 And for the drink offering give a third part of a hin of wine, for a sweet smell
to the Lord.
15:7 And for a drink offering you shall offer the third part of an hin of wine, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
15:8 번제로나 서원을 갚는 제로나 화목제로 수송아지를 예비하여 여호와께 드릴
때에는
15:8 And when you make ready a young ox for a burned or other offering, or for the effecting
of an oath, or for peace-offerings to the Lord:
15:8 And when you prepare a bullock for a burnt offering, or for a sacrifice in performing a vow, or peace offerings unto the LORD:
15:9 소제로 고운 가루 한 에바 십분지 삼에 기름 반 힌을 섞어 그 수송아지와
함께 드리고
15:9 Then with the ox give a meal offering of three tenth parts of a measure of the best
meal mixed with half a hin of oil.
15:9 Then shall he bring with a bullock a food offering of three tenth deals of flour mingled with half an hin of oil.
15:10 전제로 포도주 반 힌을 드려 여호와 앞에 향기로운 화제를 삼을지니라
15:10 And for the drink offering: give half a hin of wine, for an offering made by fire
for a sweet smell to the Lord.
15:10 And you shall bring for a drink offering half an hin of wine, for an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
15:11 ○ 수송아지나 수양이나 어린 수양이나 어린 염소에는 그 마리 수마다 이
위와 같이 행하되
15:11 This is to be done for every young ox and for every male sheep or he-lamb or young
goat.
15:11 Thus shall it be done for one bullock, or for one ram, or for a lamb, or a kid.
15:12 너희 예비하는 수효를 따라 각기 수효에 맞게 하라
15:12 Whatever number you make ready, so you are to do for every one.
15:12 According to the number that all of you shall prepare, so shall all of you do to every one according to their number.
15:13 무릇 본토 소생이 여호와께 향기로운 화제를 드릴 때에는 이 법대로 할
것이요
15:13 All those who are Israelites by birth are to do these things in this way, when giving
an offering made by fire of a sweet smell to the Lord.
15:13 All that are born of the country shall do these things after this manner, in offering an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD.
15:14 너희 중에 우거하는 타국인이나 너희 중에 대대로 있는 자가 누구든지 여호와께
향기로운 화제를 드릴 때에는 너희 하는 대로 그도 그리할 것이라
15:14 And if a man from another country or any other person living among you, through
all your generations, has the desire to give an offering made by fire of a sweet
smell to the Lord, let him do as you do.
15:14 And if a stranger sojourn with you, or whosoever be among you in your generations, and will offer an offering made by fire, of a sweet savour unto the LORD; as all of you do, so he shall do.
15:15 회중 곧 너희나 우거하는 타국인이나 한 율례니 너희의 대대로 영원한 율례라
너희의 어떠한 대로 타국인도 여호와 앞에 그러하리라
15:15 There is to be one law for you and for the man of another country living with you,
one law for ever from generation to generation; as you are, so is he to be before
the Lord.
15:15 One ordinance shall be both for you of the congregation, and also for the stranger that sojourns with you, an ordinance for ever in your generations: as all of you are, so shall the stranger be before the LORD.
15:16 너희나 너희 중에 우거하는 타국인이나 한 법도, 한 규례니라
15:16 The law and the rule are to be the same for you and for those from other lands living
with you.
15:16 One law and one manner shall be for you, and for the stranger that sojourns with you.
15:17 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
15:17 And the Lord said to Moses,
15:17 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
15:18 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르라 너희가 나의 인도하는 땅에 들어가거든
15:18 Say to the children of Israel, When you come into the land where I am guiding you,
15:18 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When all of you come into the land where I bring you,
15:19 그 땅의 양식을 먹을 때에 여호와께 거제를 드리되
15:19 Then, when you take for your food the produce of the land, you are to give an offering
lifted up before the Lord.
15:19 Then it shall be, that, when all of you eat of the bread of the land, all of you shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD.
15:20 너희의 처음 익은 곡식 가루 떡을 거제로 타작 마당의 거제 같이 들어 드리라
15:20 Of the first of your rough meal you are to give a cake for a lifted offering, lifting
it up before the Lord as the offering of the grain-floor is lifted up.
15:20 All of you shall offer up a cake of the first of your dough for an heave offering: as all of you do the heave offering of the threshing floor, so shall all of you heave it.
15:21 너희의 처음 익은 곡식 가루 떡을 대대에 여호와께 거제로 드릴지니라
15:21 From generation to generation you are to give to the Lord a lifted offering from
the first of your rough meal.
15:21 Of the first of your dough all of you shall give unto the LORD an heave offering in your generations.
15:22 ○ 너희가 그릇 범죄하여 여호와가 모세에게 말한 이 모든 명령을 지키지
못하되
15:22 And if in error you go against any of these laws which the Lord has given to Moses,
15:22 And if all of you have erred, and not observed all these commandments, which the LORD has spoken unto Moses,
15:23 곧 여호와가 모세로 너희에게 명한 모든 것을 여호와가 명한 날부터 이후
너희의 대대에 지키지 못하여
15:23 All the laws which the Lord has given you by the hand of Moses, from the day when
the Lord gave them, and ever after from generation to generation;
15:23 Even all that the LORD has commanded you by the hand of Moses, from the day that the LORD commanded Moses, and henceforward among your generations;
15:24 회중이 부지중에 그릇 범죄하였거든 온 회중은 수송아지 하나를 여호와께
향기로운 화제로 드리고 규례대로 그 소제와 전제를 드리고 수염소 하나를 속죄제로
드릴 것이라
15:24 Then, if the wrong is done in error, without the knowledge of the meeting of the
people, let all the meeting give a young ox as a burned offering, a sweet smell
to the Lord, with its meal offering and its drink offering, as is ordered in the
law, together with a he-goat for a sin-offering.
15:24 Then it shall be, if ought be committed by ignorance without the knowledge of the congregation, that all the congregation shall offer one young bullock for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour unto the LORD, with his food offering, and his drink offering, according to the manner, and one kid of the goats for a sin offering.
15:25 제사장이 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중을 위하여 속죄하면 그들이 사함을 얻으리니
이는 그릇 범죄함이며 또 그 그릇 범죄함을 인하여 예물 곧 화제와 속죄제를 여호와께
드렸음이라
15:25 So the priest will make the people free from sin, and they will have forgiveness;
for it was an error, and they have given their offering made by fire to the Lord,
and their sin-offering before the Lord, on account of their error:
15:25 And the priest shall make an atonement for all the congregation of the children of Israel, and it shall be forgiven them; for it is ignorance: and they shall bring their offering, a sacrifice made by fire unto the LORD, and their sin offering before the LORD, for their ignorance:
15:26 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중과 그들 중에 우거하는 타국인도 사함을 얻을 것은
온 백성이 그릇 범죄하였음이니라
15:26 And all the meeting of the children of Israel, as well as those from other lands
living among them, will have forgiveness; for it was an error on the part of the
people.
15:26 And it shall be forgiven all the congregation of the children of Israel, and the stranger that sojourns among them; seeing all the people were in ignorance.
15:27 만일 한 사람이 그릇 범죄하거든 일 년 된 암염소로 속죄제를 드릴 것이요
15:27 And if one person does wrong, without being conscious of it, then let him give a
she-goat of the first year for a sin-offering.
15:27 And if any soul sin through ignorance, then he shall bring a she goat of the first year for a sin offering.
15:28 제사장은 그 그릇 범죄한 사람이 그릇하여 여호와 앞에 얻은 죄를 위하여
속죄하여 그 죄를 속할지니 그리하면 사함을 얻으리라
15:28 And the priest will take away the sin of the person who has done wrong, if the wrong
was done unconsciously, and he will have forgiveness.
15:28 And the priest shall make an atonement for the soul that sins ignorantly, when he sins by ignorance before the LORD, to make an atonement for him; and it shall be forgiven him.
15:29 이스라엘 자손 중 본토 소생이든지 그들 중에 우거하는 타국인이든지 무릇
그릇 범죄한 자에게 대한 법이 동일하거니와
15:29 The law in connection with wrong done unconsciously is to be the same for him who
is an Israelite by birth and for the man from another country who is living among
them.
15:29 All of you shall have one law for him that sins through ignorance, both for him that is born among the children of Israel, and for the stranger that sojourns among them.
15:30 본토 소생이든지 타국인이든지 무릇 짐짓 무엇을 행하면 여호와를 훼방하는
자니 그 백성 중에서 끊쳐질 것이라
15:30 But the person who does wrong in the pride of his heart, if he is one of you or
of another nation by birth, is acting without respect for the Lord, and will be
cut off from his people.
15:30 But the soul that does ought presumptuously, whether he be born in the land, or a stranger, the same reproaches the LORD; and that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
15:31 그런 사람은 여호와의 말씀을 멸시하고 그 명령을 파괴하였은즉 그 죄악이
자기에게로 돌아가서 온전히 끊쳐지리라
15:31 Because he had no respect for the word of the Lord, and did not keep his law, that
man will be cut off without mercy and his sin will be on him.
15:31 Because he has despised the word of the LORD, and has broken his commandment, that soul shall utterly be cut off; his iniquity shall be upon him.
15:32 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 광야에 거할 때에 안식일에 어떤 사람이 나무하는 것을
발견한지라
15:32 Now while the children of Israel were in the waste land, they saw a man who was
getting sticks on the Sabbath day.
15:32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day.
15:33 그 나무하는 자를 발견한 자들이 그를 모세와 아론과 온 회중의 앞으로
끌어왔으나
15:33 And those who saw him getting sticks took him before Moses and Aaron and all the
people.
15:33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation.
15:34 어떻게 처치할는지 지시하심을 받지 못한 고로 가두었더니
15:34 And they had him shut up, because they had no directions about what was to be done
with him.
15:34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him.
15:35 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 그 사람을 반드시 죽일지니 온 회중이 진
밖에서 돌로 그를 칠지니라
15:35 Then the Lord said to Moses, Certainly the man is to be put to death: let him be
stoned by all the people outside the tent-circle.
15:35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp.
15:36 온 회중이 곧 그를 진 밖으로 끌어내고 돌로 그를 쳐죽여서 여호와께서
모세에게 명하신 대로 하니라
15:36 So all the people took him outside the tent-circle and he was stoned to death there,
as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
15:36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses.
15:37 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
15:37 And the Lord said to Moses,
15:37 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
15:38 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들의 대대로 그 옷단 귀에 술을 만들고 청색
끈을 그 귀의 술에 더하라
15:38 Say to the children of Israel that through all their generations they are to put
on the edges of their robes an ornament of twisted threads, and in every ornament
a blue cord;
15:38 Speak unto the children of Israel, and bid them that they make them fringes in the borders of their garments throughout their generations, and that they put upon the fringe of the borders a thread of blue:
15:39 이 술은 너희로 보고 여호와의 모든 계명을 기억하여 준행하고 너희로 방종케
하는 자기의 마음과 눈의 욕심을 좇지 않게 하기 위함이라
15:39 So that, looking on these ornaments, you may keep in mind the orders of the Lord
and do them; and not be guided by the desires of your hearts and eyes, through which
you have been untrue to me:
15:39 And it shall be unto you for a fringe, that all of you may look upon it, and remember all the commandments of the LORD, and do them; and that all of you seek not after your own heart and your own eyes, after which all of you use to go a whoring:
15:40 그리하면 너희가 나의 모든 계명을 기억하고 준행하여 너희의 하나님 앞에
거룩하리라
15:40 And that you may keep in mind all my orders and do them and be holy to your God.
15:40 That all of you may remember, and do all my commandments, and be holy unto your God.
15:41 나는 너희의 하나님이 되려 하여 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 여호와
너희 하나님이니라 나는 여호와 너희 하나님이니라
15:41 I am the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, so that I might be
your God: I am the Lord your God.
15:41 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: I am the LORD your God.
16:1 레위의 증손 고핫의 손자 이스할의 아들 고라와 르우벤 자손 엘리압의 아들
다단과 아비람과 벨렛의 아들 온이 당을 짓고
16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and
Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Pallu, the son of Reuben, made themselves
ready,
16:1 Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:
16:2 이스라엘 자손 총회에 택함을 받은 자 곧 회중에 유명한 어떤 족장 이백
오십 인과 함께 일어나서 모세를 거스리니라
16:2 And came before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty
chiefs of the people, men of good name who had a place in the meeting of the people.
16:2 And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:
16:3 그들이 모여서 모세와 아론을 거스려 그들에게 이르되 너희가 분수에 지나도다
회중이 다 각각 거룩하고 여호와께서도 그들 중에 계시거늘 너희가 어찌하여 여호와의
총회 위에 스스로 높이느뇨
16:3 They came together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, You take overmuch
on yourselves, seeing that all the people are holy, every one of them, and the Lord
is among them; why then have you put yourselves in authority over the people of
the Lord?
16:3 And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, All of you take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift all of you up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?
16:4 ○ 모세가 듣고 엎드렸다가
16:4 And Moses, hearing this, went down on his face;
16:4 And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:
16:5 고라와 그 모든 무리에게 말하여 가로되 아침에 여호와께서 자기에게 속한
자가 누구인지 거룩한 자가 누구인지 보이시고 그 자를 자기에게 가까이 나아오게
하시되 곧 그가 택하신 자를 자기에게 가까이 나아오게 하시리니
16:5 And he said to Korah and his band, In the morning the Lord will make clear who are
his, and who is holy, and who may come near him: the man of his selection will be
caused to come near him.
16:5 And he spoke unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even tomorrow the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he has chosen will he cause to come near unto him.
16:6 이렇게 하라 너 고라와 너의 모든 무리는 향로를 취하고
16:6 So do this: let Korah and all his band take vessels for burning perfumes;
16:6 This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;
16:7 내일 여호와 앞에서 그 향로에 불을 담고 그 위에 향을 두라 그때에 여호와의
택하신 자는 거룩하게 되리라 레위 자손들아 너희가 너무 분수에 지나치느니라
16:7 And put spices on the fire in them before the Lord tomorrow; then the man marked
out by the Lord will be holy: you take overmuch on yourselves, you sons of Levi.
16:7 And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD tomorrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD does choose, he shall be holy: all of you take too much upon you, all of you sons of Levi.
16:8 모세가 또 고라에게 이르되 너희 레위 자손들아 들으라
16:8 And Moses said to Korah, Give ear now, you sons of Levi:
16:8 And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, all of you sons of Levi:
16:9 이스라엘의 하나님이 이스라엘 회중에서 너희를 구별하여 자기에게 가까이
하게 하사 여호와의 성막에서 봉사하게 하시며 회중 앞에 서서 그들을 대신하여 섬기게
하심이 너희에게 작은 일이겠느냐
16:9 Does it seem only a small thing to you that the God of Israel has made you separate
from the rest of Israel, letting you come near himself to do the work of the House
of the Lord, and to take your place before the people to do what has to be done
for them;
16:9 Seems it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?
16:10 하나님이 너와 네 모든 형제 레위 자손으로 너와 함께 가까이 오게 하신
것이 작은 일이 아니어늘 너희가 오히려 제사장의 직분을 구하느냐
16:10 Letting you, and all your brothers the sons of Levi, come near to him? and would
you now be priests?
16:10 And he has brought you near to him, and all your brethren the sons of Levi with you: and seek all of you the priesthood also?
16:11 이를 위하여 너와 너의 무리가 다 모여서 여호와를 거스리는도다 아론은
어떠한 사람이관대 너희가 그를 원망하느냐
16:11 So you and all your band have come together against the Lord; and Aaron, who is
he, that you are crying out against him?
16:11 For which cause both you and all your company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that all of you murmur against him?
16:12 ○ 모세가 엘리압의 아들 다단과 아비람을 부르러 보내었더니 그들이 가로되
우리는 올라가지 않겠노라
16:12 Then Moses sent for Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: and they said, We will
not come up:
16:12 And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:
16:13 네가 우리를 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 이끌어 내어 광야에서 죽이려 함이
어찌 작은 일이기에 오히려 스스로 우리 위에 왕이 되려 하느냐
16:13 Is it not enough that you have taken us from a land flowing with milk and honey,
to put us to death in the waste land, but now you are desiring to make yourself
a chief over us?
16:13 Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land that flows with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except you make yourself altogether a prince over us?
16:14 이뿐 아니라 네가 우리를 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅으로 인도하여 들이지도 아니하고
밭도 포도원도 우리에게 기업으로 주지 아니하니 네가 이 사람들의 눈을 빼려느냐
우리는 올라가지 아니하겠노라
16:14 And more than this, you have not taken us into a land flowing with milk and honey,
or given us a heritage of fields and vine-gardens: will you put out the eyes of
these men? We will not come up.
16:14 Moreover you have not brought us into a land that flows with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: will you put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.
16:15 ○ 모세가 심히 노하여 여호와께 여짜오되 주는 그들의 예물을 돌아보지
마옵소서 나는 그들의 한 나귀도 취하지 아니하였고 그들의 한 사람도 해하지 아니하였나이다
하고
16:15 Then Moses was very angry, and said to the Lord, Give no attention to their offering:
not one of their asses have I taken, or done wrong to any of them.
16:15 And Moses was very angry, and said unto the LORD, Respect not you their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.
16:16 이에 고라에게 이르되 너와 너의 온 무리는 아론과 함께 내일 여호와 앞으로
나아오되
16:16 And Moses said to Korah, You and all your band are to come before the Lord tomorrow,
you and they and Aaron:
16:16 And Moses said unto Korah, Be you and all your company before the LORD, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow:
16:17 너희는 각기 향로를 잡고 그 위에 향을 두고 각 사람이 그 향로를 여호와
앞으로 가져오라 향로는 모두 이백 오십이라 너와 아론도 각각 향로를 가지고 올지니라
16:17 And let every man take a vessel for burning perfumes, and put sweet spices in them;
let every man take his vessel before the Lord, two hundred and fifty vessels; you
and Aaron and everyone with his vessel.
16:17 And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring all of you before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.
16:18 그들이 각기 향로를 취하여 불을 담고 향을 그 위에 두고 모세와 아론으로
더불어 회막문에 서니라
16:18 So every man took his vessel and they put fire in them, with spices, and came to
the door of the Tent of meeting with Moses and Aaron.
16:18 And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.
16:19 고라가 온 회중을 회막문에 모아 놓고 그 두 사람을 대적하려 하매 여호와의
영광이 온 회중에게 나타나시니라
16:19 And Korah made all the people come together against them to the door of the Tent
of meeting: and the glory of the Lord was seen by all the people.
16:19 And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.
16:20 ○ 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대
16:20 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron,
16:20 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
16:21 너희는 이 회중에게서 떠나라 내가 순식간에 그들을 멸하려 하노라
16:21 Come out from among this people, so that I may send sudden destruction on them.
16:21 Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.
16:22 그 두 사람이 엎드려 가로되 하나님이여 모든 육체의 생명의 하나님이여
한 사람이 범죄하였거늘 온 회중에게 진노하시나이까
16:22 Then falling down on their faces they said, O God, the God of the spirits of all
flesh, because of one man's sin will your wrath be moved against all the people?
16:22 And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?
16:23 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
16:23 And the Lord said to Moses,
16:23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
16:24 회중에게 명하여 이르기를 너희는 고라와 다단과 아비람의 장막 사면에서
떠나라 하라
16:24 Say to the people, Come away from the tent of Korah Dathan, and Abiram.
16:24 Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.
16:25 ○ 모세가 일어나 다단과 아비람에게로 가니 이스라엘 장로들이 좇았더라
16:25 So Moses got up and went to Dathan and Abiram, and the responsible men of Israel
went with him.
16:25 And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.
16:26 모세가 회중에게 일러 가로되 이 악인들의 장막에서 떠나고 그들의 물건은
아무 것도 만지지 말라 그들의 모든 죄 중에서 너희도 멸망할까 두려워하노라 하매
16:26 And he said to the people, Come away now from the tents of these evil men, without
touching anything of theirs, or you may be taken in the punishment of their sins.
16:26 And he spoke unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of their's, lest all of you be consumed in all their sins.
16:27 무리가 고라와 다단과 아비람의 장막 사면을 떠나고 다단과 아비람은 그
처자와 유아들과 함께 나와서 자기 장막 문에 선지라
16:27 So on every side they went away from the tent of Korah Dathan, and Abiram: and Dathan
and Abiram came out to the door of their tents, with their wives and their sons
and their little ones.
16:27 So they got up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.
16:28 모세가 가로되 여호와께서 나를 보내사 이 모든 일을 행케 하신 것이요
나의 임의로 함이 아닌 줄을 이 일로 인하여 알리라
16:28 And Moses said, Now you will see that the Lord has sent me to do all these works,
and I have not done them of myself.
16:28 And Moses said, Hereby all of you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.
16:29 곧 이 사람들의 죽음이 모든 사람과 일반이요 그들의 당하는 벌이 모든
사람의 당하는 벌과 일반이면 여호와께서 나를 보내심이 아니어니와
16:29 If these men have the common death of men, or if the natural fate of all men overtakes
them, then the Lord has not sent me.
16:29 If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD has not sent me.
16:30 만일 여호와께서 새 일을 행하사 땅으로 입을 열어 이 사람들과 그들의
모든 소속을 삼켜 산 채로 음부에 빠지게 하시면 이 사람들이 과연 여호와를 멸시한
것인 줄을 너희가 알리라
16:30 But if the Lord does something new, opening the earth to take them in, with everything
which is theirs, and they go down living into the underworld, then it will be clear
to you that the Lord has not been honoured by these men.
16:30 But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then all of you shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.
16:31 ○ 이 모든 말을 마치는 동시에 그들의 밑의 땅이 갈라지니라
16:31 And while these words were on his lips, the earth under them was parted in two;
16:31 And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:
16:32 땅이 그 입을 열어 그들과 그 가족과 고라에게 속한 모든 사람과 그 물건을
삼키매
16:32 And the earth, opening her mouth, took them in, with their families, and all the
men who were joined to Korah, and their goods.
16:32 And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.
16:33 그들과 그 모든 소속이 산 채로 음부에 빠지며 땅이 그 위에 합하니 그들이
총회 중에서 망하니라
16:33 So they and all theirs went down living into the underworld, and the earth was shut
over them, and they were cut off from among the meeting of the people.
16:33 They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.
16:34 그 주위에 있는 온 이스라엘이 그들의 부르짖음을 듣고 도망하며 가로되
땅이 우리도 삼킬까 두렵다 하였고
16:34 And all Israel round about them went in flight at their cry, For fear, said they,
that we go down into the heart of the earth.
16:34 And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.
16:35 여호와께로서 불이 나와서 분향하는 이백 오십 인을 소멸하였더라
16:35 Then fire came out from the Lord, burning up the two hundred and fifty men who were
offering the perfume.
16:35 And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.
16:36 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
16:36 And the Lord said to Moses,
16:36 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
16:37 너는 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살을 명하여 붙는 불 가운데서 향로를 취하여다가
그 불을 타처에 쏟으라 그 향로는 거룩함이니라
16:37 Say to Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, that he is to take out of the flames
the vessels with the perfumes in them, turning the fire out of them, for they are
holy;
16:37 Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter you the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.
16:38 사람들은 범죄하여 그 생명을 스스로 해하였거니와 그들이 향로를 여호와
앞에 드렸으므로 그 향로가 거룩하게 되었나니 그 향로를 쳐서 제단을 싸는 편철을
만들라 이스라엘 자손에게 표가 되리라 하신지라
16:38 And let the vessels of those men, who with their lives have made payment for their
sin, be hammered out into plates as a cover for the altar; for they have been offered
before the Lord and are holy; so that they may be a sign to the children of Israel.
16:38 The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.
16:39 제사장 엘르아살이 불탄 자들의 드렸던 놋 향로를 취하여 쳐서 제단을 싸서
16:39 So Eleazar the priest took the brass vessels which had been offered by those who
were burned up, and they were hammered out to make a cover for the altar:
16:39 And Eleazar the priest took the brazen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:
16:40 이스라엘 자손의 기념물이 되게 하였으니 이는 아론 자손이 아닌 외인은
여호와 앞에 분향하러 가까이 오지 못하게 함이며 또 고라와 그 무리 같이 되지 않게
하기 위함이라 여호와께서 모세로 그에게 명하신 대로 하였더라
16:40 To be a sign, kept in memory for ever by the children of Israel, that no man who
is not of the seed of Aaron has the right of burning spices before the Lord, so
that he may not be like Korah and his band: as the Lord said to him by the mouth
of Moses.
16:40 To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.
16:41 ○ 이튿날 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 모세와 아론을 원망하여 가로되 너희가
여호와의 백성을 죽였도다 하고
16:41 But on the day after, all the children of Israel made an outcry against Moses and
against Aaron, saying, You have put to death the Lord's people.
16:41 But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, All of you have killed the people of the LORD.
16:42 회중이 모여 모세와 아론을 칠 때에 회막을 바라본즉 구름이 회막을 덮었고
여호와의 영광이 나타났더라
16:42 Now when the people had come together against Moses and Aaron, looking in the direction
of the Tent of meeting, they saw the cloud covering it, and the glory of the Lord
came before their eyes.
16:42 And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.
16:43 모세와 아론이 회막 앞에 이르매
16:43 Then Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of meeting.
16:43 And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.
16:44 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
16:44 And the Lord said to Moses,
16:44 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
16:45 너희는 이 회중에게서 떠나라 내가 순식간에 그들을 멸하려 하노라 하시매
그 두 사람이 엎드리니라
16:45 Come out from among this people, so that I may send sudden destruction on them.
And they went down on their faces.
16:45 Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.
16:46 이에 모세가 아론에게 이르되 너는 향로를 취하고 단의 불을 그것에 담고
그 위에 향을 두어 가지고 급히 회중에게로 가서 그들을 위하여 속죄하라 여호와께서
진노하셨으므로 염병이 시작되었음이니라
16:46 And Moses said to Aaron, Take your vessel and put in it fire from the altar, and
sweet spices, and take it quickly into the meeting of the people, and make them
free from sin: for wrath has gone out from the Lord, and the disease is starting.
16:46 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.
16:47 아론이 모세의 명을 좇아 향로를 가지고 회중에게로 달려간즉 백성 중에
염병이 시작되었는지라 이에 백성을 위하여 속죄하고
16:47 And at the words of Moses, Aaron took his vessel, and went running among the people;
and even then the disease had made a start among them; and he put spices in his
vessel to take away the sin of the people.
16:47 And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.
16:48 죽은 자와 산 자 사이에 섰을 때에 염병이 그치니라
16:48 And he took his place between the dead and the living: and the disease was stopped.
16:48 And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.
16:49 고라의 일로 죽은 자 외에 염병에 죽은 자가 일만 사천 칠백 명이었더라
16:49 Now fourteen thousand, seven hundred deaths were caused by that disease, in addition
to those who came to their end because of what Korah had done.
16:49 Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.
16:50 염병이 그치매 아론이 회막문 모세에게로 돌아오니라
16:50 Then Aaron went back to Moses to the door of the Tent of meeting: and the disease
came to a stop.
16:50 And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.
17:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
17:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
17:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
17:2 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 그들 중에서 각 종족을 따라 지팡이 하나씩
취하되 곧 그들의 종족대로 그 모든 족장에게서 지팡이 열 둘을 취하고 그 사람들의
이름을 각각 그 지팡이에 쓰되
17:2 Say to the children of Israel that they are to give you rods, one for every family,
for every chief, the head of his father's house, making twelve rods; let every man's
name be placed on his rod.
17:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write you every man's name upon his rod.
17:3 레위의 지팡이에는 아론의 이름을 쓰라 이는 그들의 종족의 각 두령이 지팡이
하나씩 있어야 할 것임이니라
17:3 And let Aaron's name be placed on the rod of Levi: for there is to be one rod for
the head of every family.
17:3 And you shall write Aaron's name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
17:4 그 지팡이를 회막 안에서 내가 너희와 만나는 곳인 증거궤 앞에 두라
17:4 And let them be stored up in the Tent of meeting, in front of the ark of witness
where I come to you.
17:4 And you shall lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
17:5 내가 택한 자의 지팡이에는 싹이 나리니 이것으로 이스라엘 자손이 너희를
대하여 원망하는 말을 내 앞에서 그치게 하리라
17:5 And the rod of that man who is marked out by me for myself will have buds on it;
so I will put a stop to the outcries which the children of Israel make to me against
you.
17:5 And it shall come to pass, that the man's rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
17:6 모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 고하매 그 족장들이 각기 종족대로 지팡이 하나씩
그에게 주었으니 그 지팡이 합이 열 둘이라 그 중에 아론의 지팡이가 있었더라
17:6 So Moses gave these orders to the children of Israel, and all their chiefs gave
him rods, one for the head of every family, making twelve rods: and Aaron's rod
was among them.
17:6 And Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers' houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.
17:7 모세가 그 지팡이들을 증거의 장막 안 여호와 앞에 두었더라
17:7 And Moses put the rods before the Lord in the Tent of witness.
17:7 And Moses laid up the rods before the LORD in the tabernacle of witness.
17:8 ○ 이튿날 모세가 증거의 장막에 들어가 본즉 레위 집을 위하여 낸 아론의
지팡이에 움이 돋고 순이 나고 꽃이 피어서 살구 열매가 열렸더라
17:8 Now on the day after, Moses went into the Tent of witness; and he saw that Aaron's
rod, the rod of the house of Levi, had put out buds, and was covered with buds and
flowers and fruit.
17:8 And it came to pass, that on the next day Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
17:9 모세가 그 지팡이 전부를 여호와 앞에서 이스라엘 모든 자손에게로 취하여
내매 그들이 보고 각각 자기 지팡이를 취하였더라
17:9 Then Moses took out all the rods from before the Lord, and gave them back to the
children of Israel: and they saw them, and every man took his rod.
17:9 And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.
17:10 여호와께서 또 모세에게 이르시되 아론의 지팡이는 증거궤 앞으로 도로
가져다가 거기 간직하여 패역한 자에 대한 표징이 되게 하여 그들로 내게 대한 원망을
그치고 죽지 않게 할지니라
17:10 And the Lord said to Moses, Put Aaron's rod back in front of the ark of witness,
to be kept for a sign against this false-hearted people, so that you may put a stop
to their outcries against me, and death may not overtake them.
17:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron's rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and you shall quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
17:11 모세가 곧 그 같이 하되 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하였더라
17:11 This Moses did: as the Lord gave orders, so he did.
17:11 And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.
17:12 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 모세에게 말하여 가로되 보소서 우리는 죽게 되었나이다
망하게 되었나이다 다 망하게 되었나이다
17:12 And the children of Israel said to Moses, Truly, destruction has come on us; an
evil fate has overtaken us all.
17:12 And the children of Israel spoke unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
17:13 가까이 나아가는 자 곧 여호와의 성막에 가까이 나아가는 자마다 다 죽사오니
우리가 다 망하여야 하리이까
17:13 Death will overtake everyone who comes near, who comes near the House of the Lord:
are we all to come to destruction?
17:13 Whosoever comes any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
18:1 여호와께서 아론에게 이르시되 너와 네 아들들과 네 종족은 성소에 대한
죄를 함께 담당할 것이요 너와 네 아들들은 너희가 그 제사장 직분에 대한 죄를 함께
담당할 것이니라
18:1 And the Lord said to Aaron, You and your sons and your father's family are to be
responsible for all wrongdoing in relation to the holy place: and you and your sons
are to be responsible for the errors which come about in your work as priests.
18:1 And the LORD said unto Aaron, You and your sons and your father's house with you shall bear the iniquity of the sanctuary: and you and your sons with you shall bear the iniquity of your priesthood.
18:2 너는 네 형제 레위 지파 곧 네 조상의 지파를 데려다가 너와 합동시켜 너를
섬기게 하고 너와 네 아들들은 증거의 장막 앞에 있을 것이니라
18:2 Let your brothers, the family of Levi, come near with you, so that they may be joined
with you and be your servants: but you and your sons with you are to go in before
the ark of witness.
18:2 And your brethren also of the tribe of Levi, the tribe of your father, bring you with you, that they may be joined unto you, and minister unto you: but you and your sons with you shall minister before the tabernacle of witness.
18:3 레위인은 네 직무와 장막의 모든 직무를 지키려니와 성소의 기구와 단에는
가까이 못하리니 두렵건대 그들과 너희가 죽을까 하노라
18:3 They are to do your orders and be responsible for the work of the Tent; but they
may not come near the vessels of the holy place or the altar, so that death may
not overtake them or you.
18:3 And they shall keep your charge, and the charge of all the tabernacle: only they shall not come nigh the vessels of the sanctuary and the altar, that neither they, nor all of you also, die.
18:4 레위인은 너와 합동하여 장막의 모든 일과 회막의 직무를 지킬 것이요 외인은
너희에게 가까이 못할 것이니라
18:4 They are to be joined with you in the care of the Tent of meeting, doing whatever
is needed for the Tent: and no one of any other family may come near you.
18:4 And they shall be joined unto you, and keep the charge of the tabernacle of the congregation, for all the service of the tabernacle: and a stranger shall not come nigh unto you.
18:5 이와 같이 너희는 성소의 직무와 단의 직무를 지키라 그리하면 여호와의
진노가 다시는 이스라엘 자손에게 미치지 아니하리라
18:5 You are to be responsible for the holy place and the altar, so that wrath may never
again come on the children of Israel.
18:5 And all of you shall keep the charge of the sanctuary, and the charge of the altar: that there be no wrath any more upon the children of Israel.
18:6 보라 내가 이스라엘 자손 중에서 너희 형제 레위인을 취하여 내게 돌리고
너희에게 선물로 주어 회막의 일을 하게 하였나니
18:6 Now, see, I have taken your brothers the Levites from among the children of Israel:
they are given to you and to the Lord, to do the work of the Tent of meeting.
18:6 And I, behold, I have taken your brethren the Levites from among the children of Israel: to you they are given as a gift for the LORD, to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
18:7 너와 네 아들들은 단과 장 안의 모든 일에 대하여 제사장의 직분을 지켜
섬기라 내가 제사장의 직분을 너희에게 선물로 주었은즉 거기 가까이 하는 외인은
죽이울지니라
18:7 And you and your sons with you are to be responsible as priests for the altar and
everything on it, and everything inside the veil; you are to do the work of priests;
I have given you your position as priests; and any other man who comes near will
be put to death.
18:7 Therefore you and your sons with you shall keep your priest's office for everything of the altar, and within the vail; and all of you shall serve: I have given your priest's office unto you as a service of gift: and the stranger that comes nigh shall be put to death.
18:8 ○ 여호와께서 또 아론에게 이르시되 보라 내가 내 거제물 곧 이스라엘 자손의
거룩하게 한 모든 예물을 너로 주관하게 하고 네가 기름 부음을 받았음을 인하여
그것을 너와 네 아들들에게 영영한 응식으로 주노라
18:8 And the Lord said to Aaron, See, I have given into your care my lifted offerings;
even all the holy things of the children of Israel I have given to you and to your
sons as your right for ever, because you have been marked with the holy oil.
18:8 And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, Behold, I also have given you the charge of mine heave offerings of all the hallowed things of the children of Israel; unto you have I given them by reason of the anointing, and to your sons, by an ordinance for ever.
18:9 지성물 중에 불사르지 않은 것은 네 것이라 그들이 내게 드리는 모든 예물의
모든 소제와 속죄제와 속건 제물은 다 지극히 거룩한즉 너와 네 아들들에게 돌리리니
18:9 This is to be yours of the most holy things, out of the fire offerings; every offering
of theirs, every meal offering and sin-offering, and every offering which they make
on account of error, is to be most holy for you and your sons.
18:9 This shall be yours of the most holy things, reserved from the fire: every oblation of theirs, every food offering of theirs, and every sin offering of theirs, and every trespass offering of theirs which they shall render unto me, shall be most holy for you and for your sons.
18:10 지극히 거룩하게 여김으로 먹으라 이는 네게 성물인즉 남자들이 다 먹을지니라
18:10 As most holy things they are to be your food: let every male have them for food;
it is to be holy to you.
18:10 In the most holy place shall you eat it; every male shall eat it: it shall be holy unto you.
18:11 내게 돌릴 것이 이것이니 곧 이스라엘 자손의 드리는 거제물과 모든 요제물이라
내가 그것을 너와 네 자손에게 영영한 응식으로 주었은즉 네 집의 정결한 자마다
먹을 것이니라
18:11 And this is yours: the lifted offering which they give and all the wave offerings
of the children of Israel I have given to you and to your sons and to your daughters
as your right for ever: everyone in your house who is clean may have them for food.
18:11 And this is yours; the heave offering of their gift, with all the wave offerings of the children of Israel: I have given them unto you, and to your sons and to your daughters with you, by a statute for ever: every one that is clean in your house shall eat of it.
18:12 그들이 여호와께 드리는 첫 소산 곧 제일 좋은 기름과 제일 좋은 포도주와
곡식을 네게 주었은즉
18:12 All the best of the oil and the wine and the grain, the first-fruits of them which
they give to the Lord, to you have I given them.
18:12 All the best of the oil, and all the best of the wine, and of the wheat, the first-fruits of them which they shall offer unto the LORD, them have I given you.
18:13 그들이 여호와께 드리는 그 땅 처음 익은 모든 열매는 네 것이니 네 집에
정결한 자마다 먹을 것이라
18:13 The earliest produce from their land which they take to the Lord is to be yours;
everyone in your house who is clean may have it for his food.
18:13 And whatsoever is first ripe in the land, which they shall bring unto the LORD, shall be yours; every one that is clean in yours house shall eat of it.
18:14 이스라엘 중에서 특별히 드린 모든 것은 네 것이 되리라
18:14 Everything given by oath to the Lord in Israel is to be yours.
18:14 Every thing devoted in Israel shall be yours.
18:15 여호와께 드리는 모든 생물의 처음 나는 것은 사람이나 짐승이나 다 네
것이로되 사람의 처음 난 것은 반드시 대속할 것이요 부정한 짐승의 처음 난 것도
대속할 것이며
18:15 The first birth of every living thing which is offered to the Lord, of man or beast,
is to be yours; but for the first sons of man payment is to be made, and for the
first young of unclean beasts.
18:15 Every thing that opens the womb in all flesh, which they bring unto the LORD, whether it be of men or beasts, shall be yours: nevertheless the firstborn of man shall you surely redeem, and the first born of unclean beasts shall you redeem.
18:16 그 사람을 속할 때에는 난 지 일 개월 이후에 네가 정한 대로 성소의 세겔을
따라 은 다섯 세겔로 속하라 한 세겔은 이십 게라니라
18:16 Payment is to be made for these when they are a month old, at the value fixed by
you, a price of five shekels by the scale of the holy place, that is, twenty gerahs
to the shekel.
18:16 And those that are to be redeemed from a month old shall you redeem, according to yours estimation, for the money of five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, which is twenty gerahs.
18:17 오직 소의 처음 난 것이나 양의 처음 난 것이나 염소의 처음 난 것은 속하지
말지니 그것들은 거룩한즉 그 피는 단에 뿌리고 그 기름은 불살라 여호와께 향기로운
화제로 드릴 것이며
18:17 But no such payment may be made for the first birth of an ox or a sheep or a goat;
these are holy: their blood is to be dropped on the altar, and their fat burned
for an offering made by fire, a sweet smell to the Lord.
18:17 But the first born of a cow, or the first born of a sheep, or the first born of a goat, you shall not redeem; they are holy: you shall sprinkle their blood upon the altar, and shall burn their fat for an offering made by fire, for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
18:18 그 고기는 네게 돌릴지니 흔든 가슴과 우편 넓적다리 같이 네게 돌릴 것이니라
18:18 Their flesh is to be yours; like the breast of the wave offering and the right leg,
it is to be yours.
18:18 And the flesh of them shall be yours, as the wave breast and as the right shoulder are yours.
18:19 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께 거제로 드리는 모든 성물은 내가 영영한 응식으로
너와 네 자녀에게 주노니 이는 여호와 앞에 너와 네 후손에게 변하지 않는 소금 언약이니라
18:19 All the lifted offerings of the holy things which the children of Israel give to
the Lord, I have given to you and to your sons and to your daughters as a right
for ever. This is an agreement made with salt before the Lord, to you and to your
seed for ever.
18:19 All the heave offerings of the holy things, which the children of Israel offer unto the LORD, have I given you, and your sons and your daughters with you, by a statute for ever: it is a covenant of salt for ever before the LORD unto you and to your seed with you.
18:20 여호와께서 또 아론에게 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손의 땅의 기업도 없겠고
그들 중에 아무 분깃도 없을 것이나 나는 이스라엘 자손 중에 네 분깃이요 네 기업이니라
18:20 And the Lord said to Aaron, You will have no heritage in their land, or any part
among them; I am your part and your heritage among the children of Israel.
18:20 And the LORD spoke unto Aaron, You shall have no inheritance in their land, neither shall you have any part among them: I am your part and yours inheritance among the children of Israel.
18:21 ○ 내가 이스라엘의 십일조를 레위 자손에게 기업으로 다 주어서 그들의
하는 일 곧 회막에서 하는 일을 갚나니
18:21 And to the children of Levi I have given as their heritage all the tenths offered
in Israel, as payment for the work they do, the work of the Tent of meeting.
18:21 And, behold, I have given the children of Levi all the tenth in Israel for an inheritance, for their service which they serve, even the service of the tabernacle of the congregation.
18:22 이 후로는 이스라엘 자손이 회막에 가까이 말 것이라 죄를 당하여 죽을까
하노라
18:22 In future the children of Israel are not to come near the Tent of meeting, so that
death may not come to them because of sin.
18:22 Neither must the children of Israel henceforth come nigh the tabernacle of the congregation, lest they bear sin, and die.
18:23 오직 레위인은 회막에서 봉사하며 자기들의 죄를 담당할 것이요 이스라엘
자손 중에는 기업이 없을 것이니 이는 너희의 대대에 영원한 율례라
18:23 But the Levites are to do the work of the Tent of meeting, and be responsible for
errors in connection with it: this is a law for ever through all your generations;
and among the children of Israel they will have no heritage.
18:23 But the Levites shall do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they shall bear their iniquity: it shall be a statute for ever throughout your generations, that among the children of Israel they have no inheritance.
18:24 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 여호와께 거제로 드리는 십일조를 레위인에게 기업으로
준 고로 내가 그들에 대하여 말하기를 이스라엘 자손 중에 기업이 없을 것이라 하였노라
18:24 For the tenths which the children of Israel give as a lifted offering to the Lord
I have given to the Levites as their heritage. and so I have said to them, Among
the children of Israel they will have no heritage.
18:24 But the tithes of the children of Israel, which they offer as an heave offering unto the LORD, I have given to the Levites to inherit: therefore I have said unto them, Among the children of Israel they shall have no inheritance.
18:25 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
18:25 And the Lord said to Moses,
18:25 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
18:26 너는 레위인에게 고하여 그에게 이르라 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 취하여
너희에게 기업으로 준 십일조를 너희가 그들에게서 취할 때에 그 십일조의 십일조를
거제로 여호와께 드릴 것이라
18:26 Say to the Levites, When you take from the children of Israel the tenth which I
have given to you from them as your heritage, a tenth part of that tenth is to be
offered as an offering lifted up before the Lord.
18:26 Thus speak unto the Levites, and say unto them, When all of you take of the children of Israel the tithes which I have given you from them for your inheritance, then all of you shall offer up an heave offering of it for the LORD, even a tenth part of the tithe.
18:27 내가 너희의 거제물을 타작 마당에서 받드는 곡물과 포도즙 틀에서 받드는
즙 같이 여기리니
18:27 And this lifted offering is to be put to your credit as if it was grain from the
grain-floor and wine from the vines.
18:27 And this your heave offering shall be reckoned unto you, as though it were the corn of the threshing floor, and as the fullness of the winepress.
18:28 너희는 이스라엘 자손에게서 받는 모든 것의 십일조 중에서 여호와께 거제로
드리고 여호와께 드린 그 거제물은 제사장 아론에게로 돌리되
18:28 So you are to make an offering lifted up to the Lord from all the tenths which you
get from the children of Israel, giving out of it the Lord's lifted offering to
Aaron the priest.
18:28 Thus all of you also shall offer an heave offering unto the LORD of all your tithes, which all of you receive of the children of Israel; and all of you shall give thereof the LORD's heave offering to Aaron the priest.
18:29 너희의 받은 모든 예물 중에서 너희는 그 아름다운 것 곧 거룩하게 한 부분을
취하여 여호와께 거제로 드릴지니라
18:29 From everything given to you, let the best of it, the holy part of it, be offered
as a lifted offering to the Lord.
18:29 Out of all your gifts all of you shall offer every heave offering of the LORD, of all the best thereof, even the hallowed part thereof out of it.
18:30 이러므로 너는 그들에게 이르라 너희가 그 중에서 아름다운 것을 취하여
드리고 남은 것은 너희 레위인에게는 타작 마당의 소출과 포도즙 틀의 소출 같이 되리니
18:30 Say to them, then, When the best of it is lifted up on high, it is to be put to
the account of the Levites as the increase of the grain-floor and of the place where
the grapes are crushed.
18:30 Therefore you shall say unto them, When all of you have heaved the best thereof from it, then it shall be counted unto the Levites as the increase of the threshing floor, and as the increase of the winepress.
18:31 너희와 너희 권속이 어디서든지 이것을 먹을 수 있음은 이는 회막에서 일한
너희의 보수임이니라
18:31 It is to be your food, for you and your families in every place: it is your reward
for your work in the Tent of meeting.
18:31 And all of you shall eat it in every place, all of you and your households: for it is your reward for your service in the tabernacle of the congregation.
18:32 너희가 그 중 아름다운 것을 받들어 드린즉 이로 인하여 죄를 지지 아니할
것이라 너희는 이스라엘 자손의 성물을 더럽히지 말라 그리하면 죽지 아니하리라
18:32 And no sin will be yours on account of it, when the best of it has been lifted up
on high; you are not to make a wrong use of the holy things of the children of Israel,
so that death may not overtake you.
18:32 And all of you shall bear no sin by reason of it, when all of you have heaved from it the best of it: neither shall all of you pollute the holy things of the children of Israel, lest all of you die.
