9:1 예수께서 열 두 제자를 불러 모으사 모든 귀신을 제어하며 병을 고치는 능력과
권세를 주시고
9:1 And getting the twelve together, he gave them power and authority over all evil
spirits and over diseases, to make them well.
9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and
authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.
9:2 하나님의 나라를 전파하며 앓는 자를 고치게 하려고 내어 보내시며
9:2 And he sent them out to be preachers of the kingdom of God, and to make well those
who were ill.
9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
9:3 이르시되 여행을 위하여 아무 것도 가지지 말라 지팡이나 주머니나 양식이나
돈이나 두 벌 옷을 가지지 말며
9:3 And he said to them, Take nothing for your journey, no stick or bag or bread or
money, and do not take two coats.
9:3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves,
nor pouch, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.
9:4 어느 집에 들어가든지 거기서 유하다가 거기서 떠나라
9:4 And if you go into a house, let that house be your resting-place till you go away.
9:4 And whatsoever house all of you enter into, there abide, and thence depart.
9:5 누구든지 너희를 영접지 아니하거든 그 성에서 떠날 때에 너희 발에서 먼지를
떨어 버려 저희에게 증거를 삼으라 하시니
9:5 And if any people will not take you in, when you go away from that town, put off
its dust from your feet for a witness against them.
9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when all of you go out of that city,
shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.
9:6 제자들이 나가 각 촌에 두루 행하여 처처에 복음을 전하며 병을 고치더라
9:6 And they went away, journeying through all the towns, preaching the good news and
making people free from diseases in all places.
9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel,
and healing every where.
9:7 ○ 분봉 왕 헤롯이 이 모든 일을 듣고 심히 당황하여 하니 이는 혹은 요한이
죽은 자 가운데서 살아났다고도 하며
9:7 Now Herod the king had news of all these things: and he was in doubt, because it
was said by some people that John had come back from the dead;
9:7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was
perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;
9:8 혹은 엘리야가 나타났다고도 하며 혹은 옛 선지자 하나가 다시 살아났다고도
함이라
9:8 And by some, that Elijah had come; and by others, that one of the old prophets had
come back to life.
9:8 And of some, that Elijah had appeared; and of others, that one of the
old prophets was risen again.
9:9 헤롯이 가로되 요한은 내가 목을 베었거늘 이제 이런 일이 들리니 이 사람이
누군고 하며 저를 보고자 하더라
9:9 And Herod said, I put John to death: but who is this, of whom such stories are given
to me? And he had a desire to see him.
9:9 And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear
such things? And he desired to see him.
9:10 ○ 사도들이 돌아와 자기들의 모든 행한 것을 예수께 고한대 데리시고 따로
벳새다라는 고을로 떠나 가셨으나
9:10 And the twelve, when they came back, gave him an account of what they had done.
And he took them with him and went away from the people to a town named Beth-saida.
9:10 And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had
done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging
to the city called Bethsaida.
9:11 무리가 알고 따라왔거늘 예수께서 저희를 영접하사 하나님 나라의 일을 이야기하시며
병 고칠 자들은 고치시더라
9:11 But the people, getting news of it, went after him: and he was pleased to see them,
and gave them teaching about the kingdom of God, and made those well who were in
need of it.
9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them,
and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of
healing.
9:12 날이 저물어가매 열 두 사도가 나아와 여짜오되 무리를 보내어 두루 마을과
촌으로 가서 유하며 먹을 것을 얻게 하소서 우리 있는 여기가 빈 들이니이다
9:12 And the day went on; and the twelve came to him and said, Send these people away
so that they may go into the towns and the country round about and get resting-places
and food for themselves, for we are in a waste place.
9:12 And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said
unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country
round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.
9:13 예수께서 이르시되 너희가 먹을 것을 주어라 하시니 여짜오되 우리에게 떡
다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리 밖에 없으니 이 모든 사람을 위하여 먹을 것을 사지 아니하고는
할 수 없삽나이다 하였으니
9:13 But he said, Give them food yourselves. And they said, We have only five cakes of
bread and two fishes, if we do not go and get food for all these people.
9:13 But he said unto them, Give all of you them to eat. And they said, We
have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy food
for all this people.
9:14 이는 남자가 한 오천 명 됨이러라 제자들에게 이르시되 떼를 지어 한 오십 명씩
앉히라 하시니
9:14 For there were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them
be seated in groups, about fifty to a group.

9:15 제자들이 이렇게 하여 다 앉힌 후
9:15 And they did so, and made them all be seated.

9:16 예수께서 떡 다섯 개와 물고기 두 마리를 가지사 하늘을 우러러 축사하시고
떼어 제자들에게 주어 무리 앞에 놓게 하시니
9:16 And he took the five cakes of bread and the two fishes and, looking up to heaven,
he said words of blessing over them, and when they had been broken, he gave them
to the disciples to give to the people.
9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven,
he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.
9:17 먹고 다 배불렀더라 그 남은 조각 열 두 바구니를 거두니라
9:17 And they all took the food and had enough; and they took up of the broken bits which
were over, twelve baskets full.
9:17 And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments
that remained to them twelve baskets.
9:18 ○ 예수께서 따로 기도하실 때에 제자들이 주와 함께 있더니 물어 가라사대
무리가 나를 누구라고 하느냐
9:18 And it came about that when he was in prayer, by himself, and the disciples were
with him, he put a question to them, saying, Who do the people say I am?
9:18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with
him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?
9:19 대답하여 가로되 세례 요한이라 하고 더러는 엘리야라 더러는 옛 선지자
중의 하나가 살아났다 하나이다
9:19 And they, answering, said, John the Baptist; but others say Elijah; and others,
that one of the old prophets has come back.
9:19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others
say, that one of the old prophets has risen again.
9:20 예수께서 이르시되 너희는 나를 누구라 하느냐 베드로가 대답하여 가로되
하나님의 그리스도시니이다 하니
9:20 And he said, But who do you say that I am? And Peter, answering, said, The Christ
of God.
9:20 He said unto them, But whom say all of you that I am? Peter answering
said, The Christ of God.
9:21 경계하사 이 말을 아무에게도 이르지 말라 명하시고
9:21 But he gave them special orders, not to say this to any man;
9:21 And he strictly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that
thing;
9:22 가라사대 인자가 많은 고난을 받고 장로들과 대제사장들과 서기관들에게
버린 바 되어 죽임을 당하고 제 삼 일에 살아나야 하리라 하시고
9:22 Saying, The Son of man will undergo much and be put on one side by the rulers and
the chief priests and the teachers of the law, and be put to death, and on the third
day he will come back to life.
9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the
elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third
day.
9:23 또 무리에게 이르시되 아무든지 나를 따라 오려거든 자기를 부인하고 날마다
제 십자가를 지고 나를 좇을 것이니라
9:23 And he said to them all, If any man has a desire to come after me, let him give
up all, and take up his cross every day, and come after me.
9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny
himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.
9:24 누구든지 제 목숨을 구원코자 하면 잃을 것이요 누구든지 나를 위하여 제
목숨을 잃으면 구원하리라
9:24 For whoever has a desire to keep his life will have it taken from him, but whoever
gives up his life because of me, will keep it.
9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose
his life for my sake, the same shall save it.
9:25 사람이 만일 온 천하를 얻고도 자기를 잃든지 빼앗기든지 하면 무엇이 유익하리요
9:25 For what profit will a man have if he gets all the world, but undergoes loss or
destruction himself?
9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself,
or be cast away?
9:26 누구든지 나와 내 말을 부끄러워하면 인자도 자기와 아버지와 거룩한 천사들의
영광으로 올 때에 그 사람을 부끄러워하리라
9:26 For if any man has a feeling of shame because of me or of my words, the Son of man
will have shame because of him when he comes in his glory and the glory of the Father
and of the holy angels.
9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, (o. logos) of
him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and
in his Father's, and of the holy angels.
9:27 ○ 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 여기 섰는 사람 중에 죽기 전에 하나님의
나라를 볼 자들도 있느니라
9:27 But truly I say to you, Some of those who are here now will have no taste of death
till they see the kingdom of God.
9:27 But I tell you truthfully, there be some standing here, which shall
not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
9:28 ○ 이 말씀을 하신 후 팔 일쯤 되어 예수께서 베드로와 요한과 야고보를 데리시고
기도하시러 산에 올라가사
9:28 And about eight days after he had said these things, he took Peter and John and
James with him and went up into the mountain for prayer.
9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, (o. logos)
he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.
9:29 기도하실 때에 용모가 변화되고 그 옷이 희어져 광채가 나더라
9:29 And while he was in prayer, his face was changed and his clothing became white and
shining.
9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his
raiment was white and flashing.
9:30 문득 두 사람이 예수와 함께 말하니 이는 모세와 엘리야라
9:30 And two men, Moses and Elijah, were talking with him;
9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah:
9:31 영광 중에 나타나서 장차 예수께서 예루살렘에서 별세하실 것을 말씀할새
9:31 Who were seen in glory and were talking of his death which was about to take place
in Jerusalem.
9:31 Who appeared in glory, and spoke of his decease which he should accomplish
at Jerusalem.
9:32 베드로와 및 함께 있는 자들이 곤하여 졸다가 아주 깨어 예수의 영광과 및
함께 선 두 사람을 보더니
9:32 Now Peter and those who were with him were overcome with sleep: but when they were
fully awake, they saw his glory and the two men who were with him.
9:32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when
they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.
9:33 두 사람이 떠날 때에 베드로가 예수께 여짜오되 주여 우리가 여기 있는 것이
좋사오니 우리가 초막 셋을 짓되 하나는 주를 위하여 하나는 모세를 위하여 하나는
엘리야를 위하여 하사이다 하되 자기의 하는 말을 자기도 알지 못하더라
9:33 And when they were about to go away from him, Peter said to Jesus, Master, it is
good for us to be here; let us make three tents, one for you and one for Moses and
one for Elijah: having no knowledge of what he was saying.
9:33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus,
Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one
for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said.
9:34 이 말 할 즈음에 구름이 와서 저희를 덮는지라 구름 속으로 들어갈 때에
저희가 무서워하더니
9:34 And while he said these things, the shade of a cloud came over them, and they were
full of fear when they went into the cloud.
9:34 While he thus spoke, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and
they feared as they entered into the cloud.
9:35 구름 속에서 소리가 나서 가로되 이는 나의 아들 곧 택함을 받은 자니 너희는
저의 말을 들으라 하고
9:35 And there was a voice from the cloud saying, This is my Son, the man of my selection;
give ear to him.
9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved
Son: hear him.
9:36 소리가 그치매 오직 예수만 보이시더라 제자들이 잠잠하여 그 본 것을 무엇이든지
그때에는 아무에게도 이르지 아니하니라
9:36 And after the voice was gone they saw that Jesus was by himself. And they kept quiet,
and said nothing at that time to anyone of the things which they had seen.
9:36 And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it
close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.
9:37 이튿날 산에서 내려오시니 큰 무리가 맞을새
9:37 And on the day after, when they came down from the mountain, a great band of people
came to him.
9:37 And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down
from the hill, much people met him.
9:38 무리 중에 한 사람이 소리 질러 가로되 선생님 청컨대 내 아들을 돌아보아
주옵소서 이는 내 외아들이니이다
9:38 And a man from among them, crying out, said, Master, I make a request to you, give
a thought to my son, for he is my only child:
9:38 And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I plead
to you, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.
9:39 귀신이 저를 잡아 졸지에 부르짖게 하고 경련을 일으켜 거품을 흘리게 하며
심히 상하게 하고야 겨우 떠나 가나이다
9:39 And see, a spirit takes him, and suddenly he gives a cry, twisted in pain and streaming
at the lips, and when it goes away from him at last, he is marked as from blows.
9:39 And, lo, a spirit (o. pneuma) takes him, and he suddenly cries out;
and it tears him that he foams again, and bruising him hardly departs from him.
9:40 당신의 제자들에게 내어 쫓아 주기를 구하였으나 저희가 능히 못하더이다
9:40 And I made a request to your disciples to send it out of him, but they were not
able to do it.
9:40 And I besought your disciples to cast him out; and they could not.
9:41 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 믿음이 없고 패역한 세대여 내가 얼마나 너희와
함께 있으며 너희를 참으리요 네 아들을 이리로 데리고 오라 하시니
9:41 And Jesus said, O generation without faith and false in heart, how long will I have
to be with you and put up with you? let your son come here.
9:41 And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long
shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring your son here.
9:42 올 때에 귀신이 거꾸러뜨리고 심한 경련을 일으키게 하는지라 예수께서 더러운
귀신을 꾸짖으시고 아이를 낫게 하사 그 아비에게 도로 주시니
9:42 And while he was coming, he was pushed violently down and twisted by the evil spirit.
But Jesus gave sharp orders to the unclean spirit, and made the boy well, and gave
him back to his father.
9:42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him.
And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, (o. pneuma) and healed the child, and
delivered him again to his father.
9:43 사람들이 다 하나님의 위엄을 놀라니라 ○ 저희가 다 그 행하시는 모든 일을
기이히 여길새 예수께서 제자들에게 이르시되
9:43 And they were full of wonder at the great power of God. But while they were all
wondering at all the things which he did, he said to his disciples,
9:43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they
wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,
9:44 이 말을 너희 귀에 담아 두라 인자가 장차 사람들의 손에 넘기우리라 하시되
9:44 Let these words go deep into your ears, for the Son of man will be given up into
the hands of men.
9:44 Let these sayings (o. logos) sink down into your ears: for the Son of
man shall be delivered into the hands of men.
9:45 저희가 이 말씀을 알지 못하였나니 이는 저희로 깨닫지 못하게 숨김이 되었음이라
또 저희는 이 말씀을 묻기도 두려워하더라
9:45 But this saying was not clear to them and its sense was kept secret from them so
that they were not able to see it: and they had fear of questioning him about it.
9:45 But they understood not this saying, (o. rhema) and it was hid from
them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying.
(o. rhema)
9:46 ○ 제자 중에서 누가 크냐 하는 변론이 일어나니
9:46 Now there was a discussion among them about which of them would be the greatest.
9:46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.
9:47 예수께서 그 마음에 변론하는 것을 아시고 어린 아이 하나를 데려다가 자기
곁에 세우시고
9:47 But when Jesus saw the reasoning of their hearts, he took a small child and put
him by his side,
9:47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and
set him by him,
9:48 저희에게 이르시되 누구든지 내 이름으로 이 어린 아이를 영접하면 곧 나를
영접함이요 또 누구든지 나를 영접하면 곧 나 보내신 이를 영접함이라 너희 모든
사람 중에 가장 작은 그이가 큰 자니라
9:48 And said to them, Whoever gives honour to this child in my name, gives honour to
me: and whoever gives honour to me, gives honour to him who sent me: for whoever
is least among you all, that man is great.
9:48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives
me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is
least among you all, the same shall be great.
9:49 ○ 요한이 여짜오되 주여 어떤 사람이 주의 이름으로 귀신을 내어 쫓는 것을
우리가 보고 우리와 함께 따르지 아니하므로 금하였나이다
9:49 And John, answering, said, Master, we saw a man driving out evil spirits in your
name, and we did not let him do it, because he was not one of us.
9:49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in
your name; and we forbad him, because he follows not with us.
9:50 예수께서 가라사대 금하지 말라 너희를 반대하지 않는 자는 너희를 위하는
자니라 하시니라
9:50 But Jesus said to him, Let him do it, for he who is not against you is for you.
9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against
us is for us.
9:51 ○ 예수께서 승천하실 기약이 차가매 예루살렘을 향하여 올라가기로 굳게
결심하시고
9:51 And it came about that when the days were near for him to be taken up, his face
was turned to go to Jerusalem,
9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received
up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,
9:52 사자들을 앞서 보내시매 저희가 가서 예수를 위하여 예비하려고 사마리아인의
한 촌에 들어갔더니
9:52 And he sent men before: and they came to a small town of Samaria to make ready for
him.
9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into
a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.
9:53 예수께서 예루살렘을 향하여 가시는 고로 저희가 받아 들이지 아니하는지라
9:53 But they would not have him there, because he was clearly going to Jerusalem.
9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would
go to Jerusalem.
9:54 제자 야고보와 요한이 이를 보고 가로되 주여 우리가 불을 명하여 하늘로
좇아 내려 저희를 멸하라 하기를 원하시나이까
9:54 And when his disciples, James and John, saw this, they said, Lord, may we send fire
from heaven and put an end to them?
9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, will
you that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as
Elijah did?
9:55 예수께서 돌아보시며 꾸짖으시고
9:55 But turning round he said sharp words to them.
9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, All of you know not what
manner of spirit (o. pneuma) all of you are of.
9:56 함께 다른 촌으로 가시니라
9:56 And they went to another small town.
9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them.
And they went to another village.
9:57 ○ 길 가실 때에 혹이 여짜오되 어디로 가시든지 저는 좇으리이다
9:57 And when they were on the way, a certain man said to him, I will come after you
wherever you go.
9:57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said
unto him, Lord, I will follow you anywhere you go.
9:58 예수께서 가라사대 여우도 굴이 있고 공중의 새도 집이 있으되 인자는 머리
둘 곳이 없도다 하시고
9:58 And Jesus said to him, Foxes have holes and the birds of the air have resting-places,
but the Son of man has nowhere to put his head.
9:58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have
nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.
9:59 또 다른 사람에게 나를 좇으라 하시니 그가 가로되 나로 먼저 가서 내 부친을
장사하게 허락하옵소서
9:59 And he said to another, Come after me. But he said, Lord, let me first go and give
the last honours to my father.
9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first
to go and bury my father.
9:60 가라사대 죽은 자들로 자기의 죽은 자들을 장사하게 하고 너는 가서 하나님의
나라를 전파하라 하시고
9:60 But he said to him, Let the dead take care of their dead; it is for you to go and
give news of the kingdom of God.
9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go you and preach
the kingdom of God.
9:61 또 다른 사람이 가로되 주여 내가 주를 좇겠나이다마는 나로 먼저 내 가족을
작별케 허락하소서
9:61 And another man said, I will come with you, Lord, but first let me say a last good-day
to those who are at my house.
9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow you; but let me first go
bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.
9:62 예수께서 이르시되 손에 쟁기를 잡고 뒤를 돌아보는 자는 하나님의 나라에
합당치 아니하니라 하시니라
9:62 But Jesus said, No man, having put his hand to the plough and looking back, is good
enough for the kingdom of God.
9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough,
and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.
10:1 이후에 주께서 달리 칠십 인을 세우사 친히 가시려는 각동 각처로 둘씩 앞서
보내시며
10:1 Now after these things, the Lord made selection of seventy others and sent them
before him, two together, into every town and place where he himself was about to
come.
10:1 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them
two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would
come.
10:2 이르시되 추수할 것은 많되 일군이 적으니 그러므로 추수하는 주인에게 청하여
추수할 일군들을 보내어 주소서 하라
10:2 And he said to them, There is much grain ready to be cut, but not enough workers:
so make prayer to the Lord of the grain-fields that he will send workers to get
in the grain.
10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers
are few: pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send
forth labourers into his harvest.
10:3 갈지어다 내가 너희를 보냄이 어린 양을 이리 가운데로 보냄과 같도다
10:3 Go on your way: see, I send you out like lambs among wolves.
10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.
10:4 전대나 주머니나 신을 가지지 말며 길에서 아무에게도 문안하지 말며
10:4 Take no bag for money or for food, and no shoes; say no word to any man on the way.
10:4 Carry neither purse, nor pouch, nor shoes: and salute no man by the
way.
10:5 어느 집에 들어가든지 먼저 말하되 이 집이 평안할지어다 하라
10:5 And whenever you go into a house, first say, Peace be to this house.
10:5 And into whatsoever house all of you enter, first say, Peace be to this
house.
10:6 만일 평안을 받을 사람이 거기 있으면 너희 빈 평안이 그에게 머물 것이요
그렇지 않으면 너희에게로 돌아오리라
10:6 And if a son of peace is there, your peace will be with him: but if not, it will
come back to you again.
10:6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if
not, it shall turn to you again.
10:7 그 집에 유하며 주는 것을 먹고 마시라 일군이 그 삯을 얻는 것이 마땅하니라
이 집에서 저 집으로 옮기지 말라
10:7 And keep in that same house, taking what food and drink they give you: for the worker
has a right to his reward. Do not go from house to house.
10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they
give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.
10:8 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접하거든 너희 앞에 차려 놓는 것을 먹고
10:8 And into whatever town you go, if they take you in, take whatever food is given
to you:
10:8 And into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you, eat
such things as are set before you:
10:9 거기 있는 병자들을 고치고 또 말하기를 하나님의 나라가 너희에게 가까이
왔다 하라
10:9 And make well those in it who are ill and say to them, The kingdom of God is near
to you.
10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of
God has come nigh unto you.
10:10 어느 동네에 들어가든지 너희를 영접지 아니하거든 그 거리로 나와서 말하되
10:10 But if you go into a town where they will not have you, go out into the streets
of it and say,
10:10 But into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you not,
go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,
10:11 너희 동네에서 우리 발에 묻은 먼지도 너희에게 떨어버리노라 그러나 하나님의
나라가 가까이 온 줄을 알라 하라
10:11 Even the dust of your town, which is on our feet, we put off as a witness against
you; but be certain of this, that the kingdom of God is near.
10:11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off
against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of
God has come nigh unto you.
10:12 내가 너희에게 말하노니 저 날에 소돔이 그 동네보다 견디기 쉬우리라
10:12 I say to you, It will be better in that day for Sodom than for that town.
10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for
Sodom, than for that city.
10:13 화 있을진저 고라신아 화 있을진저 벳새다야 너희에게서 행한 모든 권능을
두로와 시돈에서 행하였더면 저희가 벌써 베옷을 입고 재에 앉아 회개하였으리라
10:13 A curse is on you, Chorazin! A curse is on you, Beth-saida! For if such works of
power had been done in Tyre and Sidon as have been done in you, they would have
been turned from their sins, in days gone by, seated in the dust.
10:13 Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty
works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had
a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.
10:14 심판 때에 두로와 시돈이 너희보다 견디기 쉬우리라
10:14 But it will be better for Tyre and Sidon, in the day of judging, than for you.
10:14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment,
than for you.
10:15 가버나움아 네가 하늘에까지 높아지겠느냐 음부에까지 낮아지리라
10:15 And you, Capernaum, were you not lifted up to heaven? you will go down to hell.
10:15 And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down
to hell.
10:16 너희 말을 듣는 자는 곧 내 말을 듣는 것이요 너희를 저버리는 자는 곧
나를 저버리는 것이요 나를 저버리는 자는 나 보내신 이를 저버리는 것이라 하시니라
10:16 Whoever gives ear to you, gives ear to me; and whoever is against you, is against
me; and whoever is against me, is against him who sent me.
10:16 He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and
he that despises me despises him that sent me.
10:17 ○ 칠십 인이 기뻐 돌아와 가로되 주여 주의 이름으로 귀신들도 우리에게
항복하더이다
10:17 And the seventy came back with joy, saying, Lord, even the evil spirits are under
our power in your name.
10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils
are subject unto us through your name.
10:18 예수께서 이르시되 사단이 하늘로서 번개 같이 떨어지는 것을 내가 보았노라
10:18 And he said, I was watching for Satan, falling from heaven like a star.
10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.
10:19 내가 너희에게 뱀과 전갈을 밟으며 원수의 모든 능력을 제어할 권세를 주었으니
너희를 해할 자가 결단코 없으리라
10:19 See, I have given you power to put your feet on snakes and evil beasts, and over
all the strength of him who is against you: and nothing will do you damage.
10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and
over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
10:20 그러나 귀신들이 너희에게 항복하는 것으로 기뻐하지 말고 너희 이름이
하늘에 기록된 것으로 기뻐하라 하시니라
10:20 Do not be glad, however, because you have power over spirits, but because your names
are recorded in heaven.
10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits (o. pneuma) are
subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.
10:21 ○ 이때에 예수께서 성령으로 기뻐하사 가라사대 천지의 주재이신 아버지여
이것을 지혜롭고 슬기 있는 자들에게는 숨기시고 어린 아이들에게는 나타내심을 감사하나이다
옳소이다 이렇게 된 것이 아버지의 뜻이니이다
10:21 In that same hour he was full of joy in the Holy Spirit and said, I give praise
to you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because you have kept these things secret
from the wise and the men of learning, and have made them clear to little children:
for so, O Father, it was pleasing in your eyes.
10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, (o. pneuma) and said, I thank
you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from
the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for
so it seemed good in your sight.
10:22 내 아버지께서 모든 것을 내게 주셨으니 아버지 외에는 아들이 누군지 아는
자가 없고 아들과 또 아들의 소원대로 계시를 받는 자 외에는 아버지가 누군지 아는
자가 없나이다 하시고
10:22 All things have been given to me by my Father: and no one has knowledge of the Son,
but only the Father: and of the Father, but only the Son, and he to whom the Son
will make it clear.
10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows who the
Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the
Son will reveal him.
10:23 제자들을 돌아 보시며 종용히 이르시되 너희의 보는 것을 보는 눈은 복이
있도다
10:23 And, turning to the disciples, he said privately, Happy are the eyes which see the
things you see:
10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are
the eyes which see the things that all of you see:
10:24 내가 너희에게 말하노니 많은 선지자와 임금이 너희 보는 바를 보고자 하였으되
보지 못하였으며 너희 듣는 바를 듣고자 하였으되 듣지 못하였느니라
10:24 For I say to you that numbers of prophets and kings have had a desire to see the
things which you see, and have not seen them, and to have knowledge of the things
which have come to your ears, and they had it not.
10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those
things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things
which all of you hear, and have not heard them.
10:25 ○ 어떤 율법사가 일어나 예수를 시험하여 가로되 선생님 내가 무엇을 하여야
영생을 얻으리이까
10:25 And a certain teacher of the law got up and put him to the test, saying, Master,
what have I to do so that I may have eternal life?
10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master,
what shall I do to inherit eternal life?
10:26 예수께서 이르시되 율법에 무엇이라 기록되었으며 네가 어떻게 읽느냐
10:26 And he said to him, What does the law say, in your reading of it?
10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?
10:27 대답하여 가로되 네 마음을 다하며 목숨을 다하며 힘을 다하며 뜻을 다하여
주 너의 하나님을 사랑하고 또한 네 이웃을 네 몸과 같이 사랑하라 하였나이다
10:27 And he, answering, said, Have love for the Lord your God with all your heart and
with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and for your
neighbour as for yourself.
10:27 And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your
heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your
mind; and your neighbour as yourself.
10:28 예수께서 이르시되 네 대답이 옳도다 이를 행하라 그러면 살리라 하시니
10:28 And he said, You have given the right answer: do this and you will have life.
10:28 And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do, and you shall
live.
10:29 이 사람이 자기를 옳게 보이려고 예수께 여짜오되 그러면 내 이웃이 누구오니이까
10:29 But he, desiring to put himself in the right, said to Jesus, And who is my neighbour?
10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my
neighbour?
10:30 예수께서 대답하여 가라사대 어떤 사람이 예루살렘에서 여리고로 내려가다가
강도를 만나매 강도들이 그 옷을 벗기고 때려 거반 죽은 것을 버리고 갔더라
10:30 And Jesus, answering him, said, A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho,
and he got into the hands of thieves, who took his clothing and gave him cruel blows,
and when they went away, he was half dead.
10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to
Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded
him, and departed, leaving him half dead.
10:31 마침 한 제사장이 그 길로 내려가다가 그를 보고 피하여 지나가고
10:31 And by chance a certain priest was going down that way: and when he saw him, he
went by on the other side.
10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he
saw him, he passed by on the other side.
10:32 또 이와 같이 한 레위인도 그 곳에 이르러 그를 보고 피하여 지나가되
10:32 And in the same way, a Levite, when he came to the place and saw him, went by on
the other side.
10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on
him, and passed by on the other side.
10:33 어떤 사마리아인은 여행하는 중 거기 이르러 그를 보고 불쌍히 여겨
10:33 But a certain man of Samaria, journeying that way, came where he was, and when he
saw him, he was moved with pity for him,
10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when
he saw him, he had compassion on him,
10:34 가까이 가서 기름과 포도주를 그 상처에 붓고 싸매고 자기 짐승에 태워
주막으로 데리고 가서 돌보아 주고
10:34 And came to him and put clean linen round his wounds, with oil and wine; and he
put him on his beast and took him to a house and took care of him.
10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine,
and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.
10:35 이튿날에 데나리온 둘을 내어 주막 주인에게 주며 가로되 이 사람을 돌보아
주라 부비가 더 들면 내가 돌아올 때에 갚으리라 하였으니
10:35 And the day after he took two pennies and gave them to the owner of the house and
said, Take care of him; and if this money is not enough, when I come again I will
give you whatever more is needed.
10:35 And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave
them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend
more, when I come again, I will repay you.
10:36 네 의견에는 이 세 사람 중에 누가 강도 만난 자의 이웃이 되겠느냐
10:36 Which of these three men, in your opinion, was neighbour to the man who came into
the hands of thieves?
10:36 Which now of these three, think you, was neighbour unto him that fell
among the thieves?
10:37 가로되 자비를 베푼 자니이다 예수께서 이르시되 가서 너도 이와 같이 하라
하시니라
10:37 And he said, The one who had mercy on him. And Jesus said, Go and do the same.
10:37 And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him,
Go, and do you likewise.
10:38 ○ 저희가 길 갈 때에 예수께서 한 촌에 들어가시매 마르다라 이름하는
한 여자가 자기 집으로 영접하더라
10:38 Now, while they were on their way, he came to a certain town; and a woman named
Martha took him into her house.
10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village:
and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.
10:39 그에게 마리아라 하는 동생이 있어 주의 발 아래 앉아 그의 말씀을 듣더니
10:39 And she had a sister, by name Mary, who took her seat at the Lord's feet and gave
attention to his words.
10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and
heard his word. (o. logos)
10:40 마르다는 준비하는 일이 많아 마음이 분주한지라 예수께 나아가 가로되
주여 내 동생이 나 혼자 일하게 두는 것을 생각지 아니하시나이까 저를 명하사 나를
도와주라 하소서
10:40 But Martha had her hands full of the work of the house, and she came to him and
said, Lord, is it nothing to you that my sister has let me do all the work? Say
to her that she is to give me some help.
10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said,
Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore
that she help me.
10:41 주께서 대답하여 가라사대 마르다야 마르다야 네가 많은 일로 염려하고
근심하나
10:41 But the Lord, answering, said to her, Martha, Martha, you are full of care and troubled
about such a number of things:
10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful
and troubled about many things:
10:42 그러나 몇 가지만 하든지 혹 한 가지만이라도 족하니라 마리아는 이 좋은
편을 택하였으니 빼앗기지 아니하리라 하시니라
10:42 Little is needed, or even one thing only: for Mary has taken that good part, which
will not be taken away from her.
10:42 But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which
shall not be taken away from her.
11:1 예수께서 한 곳에서 기도하시고 마치시매 제자 중 하나가 여짜오되 주여
요한이 자기 제자들에게 기도를 가르친 것과 같이 우리에게도 가르쳐 주옵소서
11:1 And it came about that he was in prayer in a certain place, and when he came to
an end, one of his disciples said to him, Lord, will you give us teaching about
prayer, as John did to his disciples?
11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when
he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John
also taught his disciples.
11:2 예수께서 이르시되 너희는 기도할 때에 이렇게 하라 아버지여 이름이 거룩히
여김을 받으시오며 나라이 임하옵시며
11:2 And he said to them, When you say your prayers, say, Father, may your name be kept
holy and your kingdom come.
11:2 And he said unto them, When all of you pray, say, Our Father which are
in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in
heaven, so in earth.
11:3 우리에게 날마다 일용할 양식을 주옵시고
11:3 Give us every day bread for our needs.
11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.
11:4 우리가 우리에게 죄 지은 모든 사람을 용서하오니 우리 죄도 사하여 주옵시고
우리를 시험에 들게 하지 마옵소서 하라
11:4 May we have forgiveness for our sins, as we make free all those who are in debt
to us. And let us not be put to the test.
11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted
to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
11:5 ○ 또 이르시되 너희 중에 누가 벗이 있는데 밤중에 그에게 가서 말하기를
벗이여 떡 세 덩이를 내게 빌리라
11:5 And he said to them, Which of you, having a friend, would go to him in the middle
of the night and say to him, Friend, let me have three cakes of bread;
11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go
unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;
11:6 내 벗이 여행 중에 내게 왔으나 내가 먹일 것이 없노라 하면
11:6 Because a friend of mine has come to me on a journey, and I have nothing to put
before him;
11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey has come to me, and I have nothing
to set before him?
11:7 저가 안에서 대답하여 이르되 나를 괴롭게 하지 말라 문이 이미 닫혔고 아이들이
나와 함께 침소에 누웠으니 일어나 네게 줄 수가 없노라 하겠느냐
11:7 And he, from inside the house, would say in answer, Do not be a trouble to me; the
door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; it is not possible for me
to get up and give to you?
11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is
now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give you.
11:8 내가 너희에게 말하노니 비록 벗됨을 인하여서는 일어나 주지 아니할지라도
그 강청함을 인하여 일어나 그 소용대로 주리라
11:8 I say to you, Though he will not get up and give to him, because he is his friend,
still, if he keeps on making his request, he will get up and give him as much as
he has need of.
11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is
his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many
as he needs.
11:9 내가 또 너희에게 이르노니 구하라 그러면 너희에게 주실 것이요 찾으라
그러면 찾을 것이요 문을 두드리라 그러면 너희에게 열릴 것이니
11:9 And I say to you, Make requests, and they will be answered; what you are searching
for, you will get; when you give the sign, the door will be open to you.
11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and all of
you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.
11:10 구하는 이마다 받을 것이요 찾는 이가 찾을 것이요 두드리는 이에게 열릴
것이니라
11:10 For to everyone who makes a request, it will be given; and he who is searching will
get his desire; and to him who gives the sign, the door will be open.
11:10 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him
that knocks it shall be opened.
11:11 너희 중에 아비 된 자 누가 아들이 생선을 달라 하면 생선 대신에 뱀을
주며
11:11 And which of you, being a father, will give a stone to his son, who makes request
for bread? or for a fish, will give him a snake?
11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give
him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?
11:12 알을 달라 하면 전갈을 주겠느냐
11:12 Or for an egg, will give him a scorpion?
11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?
11:13 너희가 악할지라도 좋은 것을 자식에게 줄줄 알거든 하물며 너희 천부께서
구하는 자에게 성령을 주시지 않겠느냐 하시니라
11:13 If, then, you who are evil are able to give good things to your children, how much
more will your Father in heaven give the Holy Spirit to those who make request to
him?
11:13 If all of you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your
children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit (o.
pneuma) to them that ask him?
11:14 ○ 예수께서 한 벙어리 귀신을 쫓아내시니 귀신이 나가매 벙어리가 말하는지라
무리들이 기이히 여겼으나
11:14 And he was sending an evil spirit out of a man who was without the power of talking.
And it came about that when the spirit had gone the man had the power of talking;
and the people were full of wonder.
11:14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass,
when the devil was gone out, the dumb spoke; and the people wondered.
11:15 그 중에 더러는 말하기를 저가 귀신의 왕 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다
하고
11:15 But some of them said, He sends out evil spirits by Beelzebul, the ruler of evil
spirits.
11:15 But some of them said, He casts out devils through Beelzebub the chief
of the devils.
11:16 또 더러는 예수를 시험하여 하늘로서 오는 표적을 구하니
11:16 And others, testing him, were looking for a sign from heaven from him.
11:16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.
11:17 예수께서 저희 생각을 아시고 이르시되 스스로 분쟁하는 나라마다 황폐하여지며
스스로 분쟁하는 집은 무너지느니라
11:17 But he, having knowledge of their thoughts, said to them, Every kingdom in which
there is division is made waste; and a house in which there is division comes to
destruction.
11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided
against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house
falls.
11:18 너희 말이 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아낸다 하니 만일 사단이 스스로
분쟁하면 저의 나라가 어떻게 서겠느냐
11:18 If, then, Satan is at war with himself, how will he keep his kingdom? because you
say that I send evil spirits out of men by the help of Beelzebul.
11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand?
because all of you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.
11:19 내가 바알세불을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내면 너희 아들들은 누구를 힘입어
쫓아내느냐 그러므로 저희가 너희 재판관이 되리라
11:19 And if I, by Beelzebul, send out evil spirits, by whose help do your sons send them
out? so let them be your judges.
11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them
out? therefore shall they be your judges.
11:20 그러나 내가 만일 하나님의 손을 힘입어 귀신을 쫓아내는 것이면 하나님의
나라가 이미 너희에게 임하였느니라
11:20 But if I, by the finger of God, send out evil spirits, then the kingdom of God has
overtaken you.
11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom
of God has come upon you.
11:21 강한 자가 무장을 하고 자기 집을 지킬 때에는 그 소유가 안전하되
11:21 When the strong man armed keeps watch over his house, then his goods are safe:
11:21 When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace:
11:22 더 강한 자가 와서 저를 이길 때에는 저의 믿던 무장을 빼앗고 저의 재물을
나누느니라
11:22 But when one who is stronger makes an attack on him and overcomes him, he takes
away his instruments of war, in which he had put his faith, and makes division of
his goods.
11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him,
he takes from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divides his spoils.
11:23 나와 함께 아니하는 자는 나를 반대하는 자요 나와 함께 모으지 아니하는
자는 헤치는 자니라
11:23 He who is not with me is against me, and he who will not give me help in getting
people together is driving them away.
11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathers not with
me scatters.
11:24 더러운 귀신이 사람에게서 나갔을 때에 물 없는 곳으로 다니며 쉬기를 구하되
얻지 못하고 이에 가로되 내가 나온 내 집으로 돌아가리라 하고
11:24 The unclean spirit, when he has gone out of a man, goes through dry places, looking
for rest; and when he does not get it, he says, I will go back to my house from
which I came.
11:24 When the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) is gone out of a man, he walks
through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, I will return unto
my house whence I came out.
11:25 와 보니 그 집이 소제되고 수리되었거늘
11:25 And when he comes, he sees that it has been made fair and clean.
11:25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and garnished.
11:26 이에 가서 저보다 더 악한 귀신 일곱을 데리고 들어가서 거하니 그 사람의
나중 형편이 전보다 더 심하게 되느니라
11:26 Then he goes and gets seven other spirits more evil than himself, and they go in,
and take their places there: and the last condition of that man is worse than the
first.
11:26 Then goes he, and takes to him seven other spirits (o. pneuma) more
wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state
of that man is worse than the first.
11:27 ○ 이 말씀 하실 때에 무리 중에서 한 여자가 음성을 높여 가로되 당신을
밴 태와 당신을 먹인 젖이 복이 있도소이다 하니
11:27 And it came about that when he said these things, a certain woman among the people
said in a loud voice, Happy is the body which gave you birth, and the breasts from
which you took milk.
11:27 And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman of the
company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare
you, and the breast which you have sucked.
11:28 예수께서 가라사대 오히려 하나님의 말씀을 듣고 지키는 자가 복이 있느니라
하시니라
11:28 But he said, More happy are they who give hearing to the word of God and keep it.
11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word (o. logos)
of God, and keep it.
11:29 ○ 무리가 모였을 때에 예수께서 말씀하시되 이 세대는 악한 세대라 표적을
구하되 요나의 표적 밖에는 보일 표적이 없나니
11:29 And when a great number of people came together to him, he said, This generation
is an evil generation: it is looking for a sign and no sign will be given to it
but the sign of Jonah.
11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say,
This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given
it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.
11:30 요나가 니느웨 사람들에게 표적이 됨과 같이 인자도 이 세대에 그러하리라
11:30 For even as Jonah became a sign to the Ninevites, so will the Son of man be to this
generation.
11:30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of
man be to this generation.
11:31 심판 때에 남방 여왕이 일어나 이 세대 사람을 정죄하리니 이는 그가 솔로몬의
지혜로운 말을 들으려고 땅 끝에서 왔음이어니와 솔로몬보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있으며
11:31 The queen of the South will come up on the day of judging and give her decision
against the men of this generation: for she came from the ends of the earth to give
ear to the wisdom of Solomon; and now something greater than Solomon is here.
11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of
this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the
earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is
here.
11:32 심판 때에 니느웨 사람들이 일어나 이 세대 사람을 정죄하리니 이는 그들이
요나의 전도를 듣고 회개하였음이어니와 요나보다 더 큰 이가 여기 있느니라
11:32 The men of Nineveh will come up in the day of judging and give their decision against
this generation: for they were turned away from their sins at the preaching of Jonah;
but now something greater than Jonah is here.
11:32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation,
and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold,
a greater than Jonas is here.
11:33 ○ 누구든지 등불을 켜서 움 속에나 말 아래 두지 아니하고 등경 위에 두나니
이는 들어가는 자로 그 빛을 보게 하려 함이니라
11:33 No man, when the light has been lighted, puts it in a secret place, or under a vessel,
but on its table, so that those who come in may see the light.
11:33 No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither
under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.
11:34 네 몸의 등불은 눈이라 네 눈이 성하면 온 몸이 밝을 것이요 만일 나쁘면
네 몸도 어두우리라
11:34 The light of the body is the eye: when your eye is true, all your body is full of
light; but when it is evil, your body is dark.
11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when yours eye is single,
your whole body also is full of light; but when yours eye is evil, your body
also is full of darkness.
11:35 그러므로 네 속에 있는 빛이 어둡지 아니한가 보라
11:35 So take care that the light which is in you is not dark.
11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.
11:36 네 온 몸이 밝아 조금도 어두운 데가 없으면 등불의 광선이 너를 비출 때와
같이 온전히 밝으리라 하시니라
11:36 If, then, all your body is light, with no part of it dark, it will be completely
full of light, as when a flame with its bright shining gives you light.
11:36 If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark,
the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does
give you light.
11:37 ○ 예수께서 말씀하실 때에 한 바리새인이 자기와 함께 점심 잡수시기를
청하므로 들어가 앉으셨더니
11:37 Now, while he was talking, a Pharisee made a request that he would come to a meal
with him; and he went in and took his seat at the meal.
11:37 And as he spoke, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him:
and he went in, and sat down to food.
11:38 잡수시기 전에 손 씻지 아니하심을 이 바리새인이 보고 이상히 여기는지라
11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he was surprised because he came to the meal without
first washing himself.
11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed
before dinner.
11:39 주께서 이르시되 너희 바리새인은 지금 잔과 대접의 겉은 깨끗이 하나 너희
속인즉 탐욕과 악독이 가득하도다
11:39 And the Lord said to him, You Pharisees make the outside of the cup and the plate
clean; but inside you are thieves and full of evil.
11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do all of you Pharisees make clean
the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening
and wickedness.
11:40 어리석은 자들아 밖을 만드신 이가 속도 만들지 아니하셨느냐
11:40 O you foolish ones! did not he who made the outside in the same way make the inside?
11:40 All of you fools, did not he that made that which is without make that
which is within also?
11:41 오직 그 안에 있는 것으로 구제하라 그리하면 모든 것이 너희에게 깨끗하리라
11:41 But if you give to the poor such things as you are able, then all things are clean
to you.
11:41 But rather give alms of such things as all of you have; and, behold,
all things are clean unto you.
11:42 ○ 화 있을진저 너희 바리새인이여 너희가 박하와 운향과 모든 채소의 십일조를
드리되 공의와 하나님께 대한 사랑은 버리는도다 그러나 이것도 행하고 저것도 버리지
아니하여야 할지니라
11:42 But a curse is on you, Pharisees! for you make men give a tenth of every sort of
plant, and give no thought to right and the love of God; but it is right for you
to do these things, and not let the others be undone.
11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you tithe mint and rue and
all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love (o. agape) of God:
these ought all of you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
11:43 화 있을진저 너희 바리새인이여 너희가 회당의 높은 자리와 시장에서 문안
받는 것을 기뻐하는도다
11:43 A curse is on you, Pharisees! for your desires are for the most important seats
in the Synagogues and for words of respect said to you in the market-place.
11:43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you love the uppermost seats in
the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.
11:44 화 있을진저 너희여 너희는 평토장한 무덤 같아서 그 위를 밟는 사람이
알지 못하느니라
11:44 A curse is on you! for you are like the resting-places of dead men, which are not
seen, and men go walking over them without knowledge of it.
11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you are
as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of
them.
11:45 ○ 한 율법사가 예수께 대답하여 가로되 선생님 이렇게 말씀하시니 우리까지
모욕하심이니이다
11:45 And one of the teachers of the law, answering, said to him, Master, in saying this,
you give a bad name to us as to them.
11:45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying
you reproach us also.
11:46 가라사대 화 있을진저 또 너희 율법사여 지기 어려운 짐을 사람에게 지우고
너희는 한 손가락도 이 짐에 대지 않는도다
11:46 And he said, A curse is on you, teachers of the law! for while other men are crushed
under the weight of the rules you make for them, you yourselves do not put so much
as one finger to them.
11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, all of you lawyers! for all of you
load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and all of you yourselves touch
not the burdens with one of your fingers.
11:47 화 있을진저 너희는 선지자들의 무덤을 쌓는도다 저희를 죽인 자도 너희
조상들이로다
11:47 A curse is on you! for you make resting-places for the bodies of the prophets, but
your fathers put them to death.
11:47 Woe unto you! for all of you build the sepulchers of the prophets,
and your fathers killed them.
11:48 이와 같이 저희는 죽이고 너희는 쌓으니 너희가 너희 조상의 행한 일에
증인이 되어 옳게 여기는도다
11:48 So you are witnesses and give approval to the work of your fathers; for they put
them to death and you make their last resting-places.
11:48 Truly all of you bear witness that all of you allow the deeds of your
fathers: for they indeed killed them, and all of you build their sepulchers.
11:49 이러므로 하나님의 지혜가 일렀으되 내가 선지자와 사도들을 저희에게 보내리니
그 중에 더러는 죽이며 또 핍박하리라 하였으니
11:49 For this reason the wisdom of God has said, I will send them prophets and teachers,
and to some of them they will give death and cruel pains;
11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and
apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:
11:50 창세 이후로 흘린 모든 선지자의 피를 이 세대가 담당하되
11:50 So that punishment may come on this generation for the blood of all the prophets
which was given from the earliest days;
11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation
of the world, may be required of this generation;
11:51 곧 아벨의 피로부터 제단과 성전 사이에서 죽임을 당한 사가랴의 피까지
하리라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 과연 이 세대가 담당하리라
11:51 From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zachariah, who was put to death between the
altar and the Temple. Yes, I say to you, It will come on this generation.
11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between
the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this
generation.
11:52 ○ 화 있을진저 너희 율법사여 너희가 지식의 열쇠를 가져가고 너희도 들어가지
않고 또 들어가고자 하는 자도 막았느니라 하시니라
11:52 A curse is on you, teachers of the law! for you have taken away the key of knowledge:
you did not go in yourselves, and you got in the way of those who were going in.
11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for all of you have taken away the key of knowledge:
all of you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in all of
you hindered.
11:53 거기서 나오실 때에 서기관과 바리새인들이 맹렬히 달라붙어 여러 가지 일로
힐문하고
11:53 And when he had come out of that place, the scribes and the Pharisees came round
him angrily, questioning him about more things;
11:53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees
began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:
11:54 그 입에서 나오는 것을 잡고자 하여 목을 지키더라
11:54 And watching him, for a chance to get something from his words which might be used
against him.
11:54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth,
that they might accuse him.
12:1 그 동안에 무리 수만 명이 모여 서로 밟힐 만큼 되었더니 예수께서 먼저 제자들에게
말씀하여 가라사대 바리새인들의 누룩 곧 외식을 주의하라
12:1 At that time, when thousands of the people had come together, in such numbers that
they were crushing one another, he said first to his disciples, Have nothing to
do with the leaven of the Pharisees, which is deceit.
12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude
of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his
disciples first of all, Beware all of you of the leaven of the Pharisees, which
is hypocrisy.
12:2 감추인 것이 드러나지 않을 것이 없고 숨은 것이 알려지지 않을 것이 없나니
12:2 But nothing is covered up, which will not come to light, or secret, which will not
be made clear.
12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid,
that shall not be known.
12:3 이러므로 너희가 어두운 데서 말한 모든 것이 광명한 데서 들리고 너희가 골방에서
귀에 대고 말한 것이 집 위에서 전파되리라
12:3 So, whatever you have said in the dark, will come to men's hearing in the light,
and what you have said secretly inside the house, will be made public from the house-tops.
12:3 Therefore whatsoever all of you have spoken in darkness shall be heard
in the light; and that which all of you have spoken in the ear in closets shall
be proclaimed upon the housetops.
12:4 내가 내 친구 너희에게 말하노니 몸을 죽이고 그 후에는 능히 더 못하는
자들을 두려워하지 말라
12:4 And I say to you, my friends, Have no fear of those who may put the body to death,
and are able to do no more than that.
12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body,
and after that have no more that they can do.
12:5 마땅히 두려워할 자를 내가 너희에게 보이리니 곧 죽인 후에 또한 지옥에
던져 넣는 권세 있는 그를 두려워하라 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 그를 두려워하라
12:5 But I will make clear to you of whom you are to be in fear: of him who after death
has power to send you to hell; yes, truly I say, Have fear of him.
12:5 But I will forewarn you whom all of you shall fear: Fear him, which
after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.
12:6 참새 다섯이 앗사리온 둘에 팔리는 것이 아니냐 그러나 하나님 앞에는 그
하나라도 잊어버리시는 바 되지 아니하는도다
12:6 Are not five sparrows given in exchange for two farthings? and God has every one
of them in mind.
12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is
forgotten before God?
12:7 너희에게는 오히려 머리털까지도 다 세신 바 되었나니 두려워하지 말라 너희는
많은 참새보다 귀하니라
12:7 But even the hairs of your head are numbered. Have no fear: you are of more value
than a flock of sparrows.
12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore:
all of you are of more value than many sparrows.
12:8 내가 또한 너희에게 말하노니 누구든지 사람 앞에서 나를 시인하면 인자도
하나님의 사자들 앞에서 저를 시인할 것이요
12:8 And I say to you that to everyone who gives witness to me before men, the Son of
man will give witness before the angels of God.
12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall
the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:
12:9 사람 앞에서 나를 부인하는 자는 하나님의 사자들 앞에서 부인함을 받으리라
12:9 But if anyone says before men that he has no knowledge of me, I will say that I
have no knowledge of him before the angels of God.
12:9 But he that denies me before men shall be denied before the angels of
God.
12:10 누구든지 말로 인자를 거역하면 사하심을 받으려니와 성령을 모독하는 자는
사하심을 받지 못하리라
12:10 And if anyone says a word against the Son of man, he will have forgiveness: but
for him who says evil words against the Holy Spirit, there will be no forgiveness.
12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word (o. logos) against the Son of man,
it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Spirit
(o. pneuma) it shall not be forgiven.
12:11 사람이 너희를 회당과 정사 잡은 이와 권세 있는 이 앞에 끌고 가거든 어떻게
무엇으로 대답하며 무엇으로 말할 것을 염려치 말라
12:11 And when they take you before the Synagogues and the authorities and the rulers,
take no thought about what answers you will give, or what you will say:
12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates,
and powers, take all of you no thought how or what thing all of you shall answer,
or what all of you shall say:
12:12 마땅히 할 말을 성령이 곧 그때에 너희에게 가르치시리라 하시니라
12:12 For the Holy Spirit will make clear to you in that very hour what to say.
12:12 For the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) shall teach you in the same hour what
all of you ought to say.
12:13 ○ 무리 중에 한 사람이 이르되 선생님 내 형을 명하여 유업을 나와 나누게
하소서 하니
12:13 And one of the people said to him, Master, give an order to my brother to make division
of the heritage with me.
12:13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother,
that he divide the inheritance with me.
12:14 이르시되 이 사람아 누가 나를 너희의 재판장이나 물건 나누는 자로 세웠느냐
하시고
12:14 But he said, Man, who made me a judge or a maker of decisions for you?
12:14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?
12:15 저희에게 이르시되 삼가 모든 탐심을 물리치라 사람의 생명이 그 소유의
넉넉한데 있지 아니하니라 하시고
12:15 And he said to them, Take care to keep yourselves free from the desire for property;
for a man's life is not made up of the number of things which he has.
12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a
man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.
12:16 또 비유로 저희에게 일러 가라사대 한 부자가 그 밭에 소출이 풍성하매
12:16 And he said to them, in a story, The land of a certain man of great wealth was very
fertile:
12:16 And he spoke a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich
man brought forth plentifully:
12:17 심중에 생각하여 가로되 내가 곡식 쌓아 둘 곳이 없으니 어찌할꼬 하고
12:17 And he said to himself, What is to be done? for I have no place in which to put
all my fruit.
12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have
no room where to bestow my fruits?
12:18 또 가로되 내가 이렇게 하리라 내 곡간을 헐고 더 크게 짓고 내 모든 곡식과
물건을 거기 쌓아 두리라
12:18 And he said, This I will do: I will take down my store-houses and make greater ones,
and there I will put all my grain and my goods.
12:18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater;
and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.
12:19 또 내가 내 영혼에게 이르되 영혼아 여러 해 쓸 물건을 많이 쌓아 두었으니
평안히 쉬고 먹고 마시고 즐거워하자 하리라 하되
12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have a great amount of goods in store, enough
for a number of years; be at rest, take food and wine and be happy.
12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many
years; take yours ease, eat, drink, and be merry.
12:20 하나님은 이르시되 어리석은 자여 오늘 밤에 네 영혼을 도로 찾으리니 그러면
네 예비한 것이 뉘 것이 되겠느냐 하셨으니
12:20 But God said to him, You foolish one, tonight I will take your soul from you, and
who then will be the owner of all the things which you have got together?
12:20 But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required
of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?
12:21 자기를 위하여 재물을 쌓아 두고 하나님께 대하여 부요치 못한 자가 이와
같으니라
12:21 So that is what comes to the man who gets wealth for himself, and has not wealth
in the eyes of God.
12:21 So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward
God.
12:22 ○ 또 제자들에게 이르시되 그러므로 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희 목숨을
위하여 무엇을 먹을까 몸을 위하여 무엇을 입을까 염려하지 말라
12:22 And he said to his disciples, For this reason I say to you, Take no thought for
your life, about what food you will take, or for your body, how it may be clothed.
12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought
for your life, what all of you shall eat; neither for the body, what all of
you shall put on.
12:23 목숨이 음식보다 중하고 몸이 의복보다 중하니라
12:23 Is not life more than food, and the body than its clothing?
12:23 The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment.
12:24 까마귀를 생각하라 심지도 아니하고 거두지도 아니하며 골방도 없고 창고도
없으되 하나님이 기르시나니 너희는 새보다 얼마나 더 귀하냐
12:24 Give thought to the ravens; they do not put seeds into the earth, or get together
grain; they have no store-houses or buildings; and God gives them their food: of
how much greater value are you than the birds!
12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have
storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are all of you better
than the fowls?
12:25 또 너희 중에 누가 염려함으로 그 키를 한 자나 더할 수 있느냐
12:25 And which of you by taking thought is able to make himself any taller?
12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?
12:26 그런즉 지극히 작은 것이라도 능치 못하거든 어찌 그 다른 것을 염려하느냐
12:26 If, then, you are not able to do even that which is least, why are you troubled
about the rest?
12:26 If all of you then be not able to do that thing which is least, why
take all of you thought for the rest?
12:27 백합화를 생각하여 보아라 실도 만들지 않고 짜지도 아니하느니라 그러나
내가 너희에게 말하노니 솔로몬의 모든 영광으로도 입은 것이 이 꽃 하나만 같지
못하였느니라
12:27 Give thought to the flowers: they do no work, they make no thread; and still I say
to you, Even Solomon, in all his glory, was not clothed like one of these.
12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and
yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of
these.
12:28 오늘 있다가 내일 아궁이에 던지우는 들풀도 하나님이 이렇게 입히시거든
하물며 너희일까보냐 믿음이 적은 자들아
12:28 But if God gives such clothing to the grass in the field, which today is living,
and tomorrow will be burned in the oven, how much more will he give clothing to
you, O men of little faith?
12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and
tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O all of you
of little faith?
12:29 너희는 무엇을 먹을까 무엇을 마실까 하여 구하지 말며 근심하지도 말라
12:29 And do not give overmuch thought to your food and drink, and let not your mind be
full of doubts.
12:29 And seek not all of you what all of you shall eat, or what all of you
shall drink, neither be all of you of doubtful mind.
12:30 이 모든 것은 세상 백성들이 구하는 것이라 너희 아버지께서 이런 것이
너희에게 있어야 될 줄을 아시느니라
12:30 For the nations of the world go in search of all these things: but your Father has
knowledge that you have need of them.
12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your
Father knows that all of you have need of these things.
12:31 오직 너희는 그의 나라를 구하라 그리하면 이런 것을 너희에게 더하시리라
12:31 But let your chief care be for his kingdom, and these other things will be given
to you in addition.
12:31 But rather seek all of you the kingdom of God; and all these things
shall be added unto you.
12:32 적은 무리여 무서워 말라 너희 아버지께서 그 나라를 너희에게 주시기를
기뻐하시느니라
12:32 Have no fear, little flock, for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the
kingdom.
12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give
you the kingdom.
12:33 너희 소유를 팔아 구제하여 낡아지지 아니하는 주머니를 만들라 곧 하늘에
둔 바 다함이 없는 보물이니 거기는 도적도 가까이 하는 일이 없고 좀도 먹는 일이
없느니라
12:33 Give what property you have in exchange for money, and give the money to the poor;
make for yourselves money-bags which will not get old, wealth stored up in heaven
which will be yours for ever, where thieves will not come nor worms put it to destruction.
12:33 Sell that all of you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which
wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches,
neither moth corrupts.
12:34 너희 보물 있는 곳에는 너희 마음도 있으리라
12:34 For where your wealth is, there will your heart be.
12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.
12:35 ○ 허리에 띠를 띠고 등불을 켜고 서 있으라
12:35 Be ready, dressed as for a journey, with your lights burning.
12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;
12:36 너희는 마치 그 주인이 혼인 집에서 돌아와 문을 두드리면 곧 열어 주려고
기다리는 사람과 같이 되라
12:36 And be like men who are looking for their lord, when he comes back from the bride-feast;
so that when he comes to the door, it will be open to him quickly.
12:36 And all of you yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when
he will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks, they may open
unto him immediately.
12:37 주인이 와서 깨어 있는 것을 보면 그 종들은 복이 있으리로다 내가 진실로
너희에게 이르노니 주인이 띠를 띠고 그 종들을 자리에 앉히고 나아와 수종하리라
12:37 Happy are those servants who are watching when the lord comes; truly I say to you,
he will make himself their servant and, placing them at the table, he will come
out and give them food.
12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find
watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to
sit down to food, and will come forth and serve them.
12:38 주인이 혹 이경나 혹 삼경에 이르러서도 종들의 이같이 하는 것을 보면
그 종들은 복이 있으리로다
12:38 And if he comes in the second division of the night or in the third, and they are
watching for him, happy are those servants.
12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch,
and find them so, blessed are those servants.
12:39 너희도 아는 바니 집 주인이 만일 도적이 어느 때에 이를 줄 알았더면 그
집을 뚫지 못하게 하였으리라
12:39 But be certain of this, that if the master of the house had had knowledge of the
time when the thief was coming, he would have been watching, and would not have
let his house be broken into.
12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour
the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house
to be broken through.
12:40 이러므로 너희도 예비하고 있으라 생각지 않은 때에 인자가 오리라 하시니라
12:40 So be ready: for the Son of man is coming at a time when you are not looking for
him.
12:40 Be all of you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an
hour when all of you think not.
12:41 ○ 베드로가 여짜오되 주께서 이 비유를 우리에게 하심이니이까 모든 사람에게
하심이니이까
12:41 And Peter said to him, Lord, are these words said to us only, or to all men?
12:41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speak you this parable unto us, or
even to all?
12:42 주께서 가라사대 지혜 있고 진실한 청직이가 되어 주인에게 그 집 종들을
맡아 때를 따라 양식을 나누어 줄 자가 누구냐
12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is the wise and responsible servant whom his lord will
put in control of his family, to give them their food at the right time?
12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom
his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of
food in due season?
12:43 주인이 이를 때에 그 종의 이렇게 하는 것을 보면 그 종이 복이 있으리로다
12:43 Happy is that servant who, when his lord comes, is doing so.
12:43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so
doing.
12:44 내가 참으로 너희에게 이르노니 주인이 그 모든 소유를 저에게 맡기리라
12:44 Truly I say to you, he will put him in control of all his goods.
12:44 Truthfully I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that
he has.
12:45 만일 그 종이 마음에 생각하기를 주인이 더디 오리라 하여 노비를 때리며
먹고 마시고 취하게 되면
12:45 But if that servant says to himself, My lord is a long time coming; and goes about
giving blows to the men-servants and the women-servants, feasting and taking overmuch
wine;
12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming;
and shall begin to beat the male servants and maidens, and to eat and drink,
and to be drunken;
12:46 생각지 않은 날 알지 못하는 시간에 이 종의 주인이 이르러 엄히 때리고
신실치 아니한 자의 받는 율에 처하리니
12:46 The lord of that servant will come at a time when he is not looking for him, and
at an hour when he is not ready for him, and he will have him cut in two and will
give him his part in the fate of those who have no faith;
12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him,
and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two, and will appoint
him his portion with the unbelievers.
12:47 주인의 뜻을 알고도 예비치 아니하고 그 뜻대로 행치 아니한 종은 많이
맞을 것이요
12:47 And the servant who had knowledge of his lord's desires and was not ready for him
and did not do as he was ordered, will be given a great number of blows;
12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself,
neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.
12:48 알지 못하고 맞을 일을 행한 종은 적게 맞으리라 무릇 많이 받은 자에게는
많이 찾을 것이요 많이 맡은 자에게는 많이 달라 할 것이니라
12:48 But he who, without knowledge, did things for which punishment is given, will get
only a small number of blows. The man to whom much is given, will have to give much;
if much is given into his care, of him more will be requested.
12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall
be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall
be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask
the more.
12:49 ○ 내가 불을 땅에 던지러 왔노니 이 불이 이미 붙었으면 내가 무엇을 원하리요
12:49 I came to send a fire on the earth, and it may even now have been lighted.
12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already
kindled?
12:50 나는 받을 세례가 있으니 그 이루기까지 나의 답답함이 어떠하겠느냐
12:50 But there is a baptism which I have to undergo; and how am I kept back till it is
complete!
12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till
it be accomplished!
12:51 내가 세상에 화평을 주려고 온 줄로 아느냐 내가 너희에게 이르노니 아니라
도리어 분쟁케 하려 함이로라
12:51 Is it your opinion that I have come to give peace on earth? I say to you, No, but
division:
12:51 Suppose all of you that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you,
Nay; but rather division:
12:52 이 후부터 한 집에 다섯 사람이 있어 분쟁하되 셋이 둘과, 둘이 셋과 하리니
12:52 For from this time, a family of five in one house will be on opposite sides, three
against two and two against three.
12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three
against two, and two against three.
12:53 아비가 아들과, 아들이 아비와, 어미가 딸과, 딸이 어미와, 시어미가 며느리와,
며느리가 시어미와 분쟁하리라 하시니라
12:53 They will be at war, the father against his son, and the son against his father;
mother against daughter, and daughter against mother; mother-in-law against daughter-in-law,
and daughter-in-law against mother-in-law.
12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the
father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother;
the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against
her mother in law.
12:54 ○ 또 무리에게 이르시되 너희가 구름이 서에서 일어남을 보면 곧 말하기를
소나기가 오리라 하나니 과연 그러하고
12:54 Then he said to the people, When you see a cloud coming up in the west, straight
away you say, There will be rain; and so it is.
12:54 And he said also to the people, When all of you see a cloud rise out
of the west, immediately all of you say, There comes a shower; and so it is.
12:55 남풍이 붊을 보면 말하기를 심히 더우리라 하나니 과연 그러하니라
12:55 And when you see a south wind blowing, you say, There will be heat; and so it is.
12:55 And when all of you see the south wind blow, all of you say, There
will be heat; and it comes to pass.
12:56 외식하는 자여 너희가 천지의 기상은 분변할 줄을 알면서 어찌 이 시대는
분변치 못하느냐
12:56 O false ones! the face of the earth and the heaven is clear to you; how is it that
the signs of these times are not as clear to you?
12:56 All of you hypocrites, all of you can discern the face of the sky and
of the earth; but how is it that all of you do not discern this time?
12:57 또 어찌하여 옳은 것을 스스로 판단치 아니하느냐
12:57 And why are you, in your hearts, unable to be judges of what is right?
12:57 Yea, and why even of yourselves judge all of you not what is right?
12:58 네가 너를 고소할 자와 함께 법관에게 갈 때에 길에서 화해하기를 힘쓰라
저가 너를 재판장에게 끌어가고 재판장이 너를 관속에게 넘겨 주어 관속이 옥에 가둘까
염려하라
12:58 For if anyone has a cause at law against you, and you are going with him before
the ruler, make an attempt, on the way, to come to an agreement with him, for if
you do not, he may take you before the judge and the judge will give you up to the
police, and they will put you in prison.
12:58 When you go with yours adversary to the magistrate, as you are in the
way, give diligence that you may be delivered from him; lest he hale you to
the judge, and the judge deliver you to the officer, and the officer cast you
into prison.
12:59 네게 이르노니 호리라도 남김이 없이 갚지 아니하여서는 결단코 저기서
나오지 못하리라 하시니라
12:59 I say to you, You will not come out of it till you have made payment to the very
last farthing.
12:59 I tell you, you shall not depart thence, till you have paid the very
last mite.
13:1 그때 마침 두어 사람이 와서 빌라도가 어떤 갈릴리 사람들의 피를 저희의
제물에 섞은 일로 예수께 고하니
13:1 Now some people who were there at that time, gave him an account of how the blood
of some Galilaeans had been mixed by Pilate with their offerings.
13:1 There were present at that season some that told him of the Galilaeans,
whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices.
13:2 대답하여 가라사대 너희는 이 갈릴리 사람들이 이같이 해 받음으로써 모든
갈릴리 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
13:2 And he, in answer, said to them, Are you of the opinion that these Galilaeans were
worse than all other Galilaeans, because these things were done to them?
13:2 And Jesus answering said unto them, Suppose all of you that these Galilaeans
were sinners above all the Galilaeans, because they suffered such things?
13:3 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개치 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
13:3 I say to you, It is not so: but if your hearts are not changed, you will all come
to the same end.
13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all
likewise perish.
13:4 또 실로암에서 망대가 무너져 치어 죽은 열 여덟 사람이 예루살렘에 거한
모든 사람보다 죄가 더 있는 줄 아느냐
13:4 Or those eighteen men who were crushed by the fall of the tower of Siloam, were
they worse than all the other men living in Jerusalem?
13:4 Or those eighteen, upon whom the tower in Siloam fell, and slew them,
think all of you that they were sinners above all men that dwelt in Jerusalem?
13:5 너희에게 이르노니 아니라 너희도 만일 회개치 아니하면 다 이와 같이 망하리라
13:5 I say to you, It is not so: but if your hearts are not changed, you will all come
to an end in the same way.
13:5 I tell you, Nay: but, except all of you repent, all of you shall all
likewise perish.
13:6 ○ 이에 비유로 말씀하시되 한 사람이 포도원에 무화과나무를 심은 것이
있더니 와서 그 열매를 구하였으나 얻지 못한지라
13:6 And he made up this story for them: A certain man had a fig-tree in his garden,
and he came to get fruit from it, and there was no fruit.
13:6 He spoke also this parable; A certain man had a fig tree planted in
his vineyard; and he came and sought fruit thereon, and found none.
13:7 과원지기에게 이르되 내가 삼 년을 와서 이 무화과나무에 실과를 구하되 얻지
못하니 찍어버리라 어찌 땅만 버리느냐
13:7 And he said to the gardener, See, for three years I have been looking for fruit
from this tree, and I have not had any: let it be cut down; why is it taking up
space?
13:7 Then said he unto the dresser of his vineyard, Behold, these three years
I come seeking fruit on this fig tree, and find none: cut it down; why cumbers
it the ground?
13:8 대답하여 가로되 주인이여 금년에도 그대로 두소서 내가 두루 파고 거름을
주리니
13:8 And he said, Lord, let it be for this year, and I will have the earth turned up
round it, and put animal waste on it, to make it fertile:
13:8 And he answering said unto him, Lord, let it alone this year also, till
I shall dig about it, and dung it:
13:9 이 후에 만일 실과가 열면이어니와 그렇지 않으면 찍어버리소서 하였다 하시니라
13:9 And if, after that, it has fruit, it is well; if not, let it be cut down.
13:9 And if it bear fruit, well: and if not, then after that you shall cut
it down.
13:10 ○ 안식일에 한 회당에서 가르치실 때에
13:10 And he was teaching in one of the Synagogues on the Sabbath.

13:11 십 팔 년 동안을 귀신 들려 앓으며 꼬부라져 조금도 펴지 못하는 한 여자가
있더라
13:11 And there was a woman who had had a disease for eighteen years; she was bent, and
was not able to make herself straight.
13:11 And, behold, there was a woman which had a spirit (o. pneuma) of infirmity
eighteen years, and was bowed together, and could in no wise lift up herself.
13:12 예수께서 보시고 불러 이르시되 여자여 네가 네 병에서 놓였다 하시고
13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he said to her, Woman, you are made free from your disease.
13:12 And when Jesus saw her, he called her to him, and said unto her, Woman,
you are loosed from yours infirmity.
13:13 안수하시매 여자가 곧 펴고 하나님께 영광을 돌리는지라
13:13 And he put his hands on her, and she was made straight, and gave praise to God.
13:13 And he laid his hands on her: and immediately she was made straight,
and glorified God.
13:14 회당장이 예수께서 안식일에 병 고치시는 것을 분 내어 무리에게 이르되
일할 날이 엿새가 있으니 그 동안에 와서 고침을 받을 것이요 안식일에는 말 것이니라
하거늘
13:14 And the ruler of the Synagogue was angry because Jesus had made her well on the
Sabbath, and he said to the people, There are six days in which men may do work:
so come on those days to be made well, and not on the Sabbath.
13:14 And the ruler of the synagogue answered with indignation, because that
Jesus had healed on the sabbath day, and said unto the people, There are six
days in which men ought to work: in them therefore come and be healed, and not
on the sabbath day.
13:15 주께서 대답하여 가라사대 외식하는 자들아 너희가 각각 안식일에 자기의
소나 나귀나 마구에서 풀어내어 이끌고 가서 물을 먹이지 아니하느냐
13:15 But the Lord gave him an answer and said, O you false men! do you not, every one
of you, on the Sabbath, let loose his ox and his ass and take it to the water?
13:15 The Lord then answered him, and said, You hypocrite, does not each
one of you on the sabbath loose his ox or his ass from the stall, and lead him
away to watering?
13:16 그러면 십 팔 년 동안 사단에게 매인 바 된 이 아브라함의 딸을 안식일에
이 매임에서 푸는 것이 합당치 아니하냐
13:16 And is it not right for this daughter of Abraham, who has been in the power of Satan
for eighteen years, to be made free on the Sabbath?
13:16 And ought not this woman, being a daughter of Abraham, whom Satan has
bound, lo, these eighteen years, be loosed from this bond on the sabbath day?
13:17 예수께서 이 말씀을 하시매 모든 반대하는 자들은 부끄러워하고 온 무리는
그 하시는 모든 영광스러운 일을 기뻐하니라
13:17 And when he said these things, those who were against him were shamed, and all the
people were full of joy because of the great things which were done by him.
13:17 And when he had said these things, all his adversaries were ashamed:
and all the people rejoiced for all the glorious things that were done by him.
13:18 그러므로 가라사대 하나님의 나라가 무엇과 같을꼬 내가 무엇으로 비할꼬
13:18 Then he said, What is the kingdom of God like? what comparison may I make of it?
13:18 Then said he, Unto what is the kingdom of God like? and unto which
shall I resemble it?
13:19 마치 사람이 자기 채전에 갖다 심은 겨자씨 한 알 같으니 자라 나무가 되어
공중의 새들이 그 가지에 깃들였느니라
13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed which a man took and put in his garden, and it
became a tree, and the birds of heaven made their resting-places in its branches.
13:19 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which a man took, and cast into
his garden; and it grew, and waxed a great tree; and the fowls of the air lodged
in the branches of it.
13:20 또 가라사대 내가 하나님의 나라를 무엇으로 비할꼬
13:20 And again he said, What is the kingdom of God like?
13:20 And again he said, Unto which shall I liken the kingdom of God?
13:21 마치 여자가 가루 서 말 속에 갖다 넣어 전부 부풀게 한 누룩과 같으니라
하셨더라
13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman put into three measures of meal, and it was all
leavened.
13:21 It is like leaven, which a woman took and hid in three measures of
meal, till the whole was leavened.
13:22 ○ 예수께서 각성 각촌으로 다니사 가르치시며 예루살렘으로 여행하시더니
13:22 And he went on his way, through towns and country places, teaching and journeying
to Jerusalem.
13:22 And he went through the cities and villages, teaching, and journeying
toward Jerusalem.
13:23 혹이 여짜오되 주여 구원을 얻는 자가 적으니이까 저희에게 이르시되
13:23 And someone said to him, Lord, will only a small number have salvation? And he said
to them,
13:23 Then said one unto him, Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said
unto them,
13:24 좁은 문으로 들어가기를 힘쓰라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 들어가기를 구하여도
못하는 자가 많으리라
13:24 Do your best to go in by the narrow door, for I say to you, A number will make the
attempt to go in, but will not be able to do so.
13:24 Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many, I say unto you, will
seek to enter in, and shall not be able.
13:25 집 주인이 일어나 문을 한 번 닫은 후에 너희가 밖에 서서 문을 두드리며
주여 열어 주소서 하면 저가 대답하여 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 온 자인지 알지
못하노라 하리니
13:25 When the master of the house has got up, and the door has been shut, and you, still
outside, give blows on the door, saying, Lord, let us in; he will make answer and
say, I have no knowledge of where you come from.
13:25 When once the master of the house has risen up, and has shut to the
door, and all of you begin to stand without, and to knock at the door, saying,
Lord, Lord, open unto us; and he shall answer and say unto you, I know you not
whence all of you are:
13:26 그때에 너희가 말하되 우리는 주 앞에서 먹고 마셨으며 주는 또한 우리
길거리에서 가르치셨나이다 하나
13:26 Then you will say, We have taken food and drink with you, and you were teaching
in our streets.
13:26 Then shall all of you begin to say, We have eaten and drunk in your
presence, and you have taught in our streets.
13:27 저가 너희에게 일러 가로되 나는 너희가 어디로서 왔는지 알지 못하노라
행악하는 모든 자들아 나를 떠나가라 하리라
13:27 But he will say, Truly, I have no knowledge of you or where you come from; go away
from me, you workers of evil.
13:27 But he shall say, I tell you, I know you not whence all of you are;
depart from me, all you workers of iniquity.
13:28 너희가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱과 모든 선지자는 하나님 나라에 있고 오직
너희는 밖에 쫓겨난 것을 볼 때에 거기서 슬피 울며 이를 갊이 있으리라
13:28 There will be weeping and cries of sorrow when you see Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob,
and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God, but you yourselves are shut outside.
13:28 There shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when all of you shall
see Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of God,
and you yourselves thrust out.
13:29 사람들이 동서 남북으로부터 와서 하나님의 나라 잔치에 참석하리니
13:29 And they will come from the east and from the west, from the north and from the
south, and take their places in the kingdom of God.
13:29 And they shall come from the east, and from the west, and from the
north, and from the south, and shall sit down in the kingdom of God.
13:30 보라 나중 된 자로서 먼저 될 자도 있고 먼저 된 자로서 나중 될 자도 있느니라
하시더라
13:30 And the last will be first, and the first will be last.
13:30 And, behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first
which shall be last.
13:31 ○ 곧 그때에 어떤 바리새인들이 나아와서 이르되 나가서 여기를 떠나소서
헤롯이 당신을 죽이고자 하나이다
13:31 At that time, certain Pharisees came to him and said, Go away from this place, because
Herod's purpose is to put you to death.
13:31 The same day there came certain of the Pharisees, saying unto him,
Get you out, and depart behind: for Herod will kill you.
13:32 가라사대 가서 저 여우에게 이르되 오늘과 내일 내가 귀신을 쫓아내며 병을
낫게 하다가 제 삼 일에는 완전하여지리라 하라
13:32 And he said, Go and say to that fox, I send out evil spirits and do works of mercy
today and tomorrow, and on the third day my work will be complete.
13:32 And he said unto them, Go all of you, and tell that fox, Behold, I
cast out devils, and I do cures to day and tomorrow, and the third day I shall
be perfected.
13:33 그러나 오늘과 내일과 모레는 내가 갈 길을 가야 하리니 선지자가 예루살렘
밖에서는 죽는 법이 없느니라
13:33 But I have to go on my way today and tomorrow and the third day, for it is not right
for a prophet to come to his death outside Jerusalem.
13:33 Nevertheless I must walk to day, and tomorrow, and the day following:
for it cannot be that a prophet perish out of Jerusalem.
13:34 예루살렘아 예루살렘아 선지자들을 죽이고 네게 파송된 자들을 돌로 치는
자여 암탉이 제 새끼를 날개 아래 모음 같이
내가 너희의 자녀를 모으려 한 일이 몇 번이냐 그러나 너희가 원치 아니하였도다
13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, putting to death the prophets, and stoning those who were
sent to her! again and again would I have taken your children to myself, as a bird
takes her young ones under her wings, but you would not!
13:34 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kill the prophets, and stone them that
are sent unto you; how often would I have gathered your children together, as
a hen does gather her brood under her wings, and all of you would not!
13:35 보라 너희 집이 황폐하여 버린 바 되니라 내가 너희에게 이르노니 너희가
주의 이름으로 오시는 이를 찬송하리로다 할 때까지는 나를 보지 못하리라 하시니라
13:35 Now see, your house is waste, and I say to you, You will not see me again till you
say, A blessing on him who comes in the name of the Lord.
13:35 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate: and verily I say unto
you, All of you shall not see me, until the time come when all of you shall
say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.
14:1 안식일에 예수께서 바리새인의 한 두령의 집에 떡 잡수시러 들어가시니
저희가 엿보고 있더라
14:1 And it came about that when he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees
on the Sabbath, to have a meal, they were watching him.
14:1 And it came to pass, as he went into the house of one of the chief Pharisees
to eat bread on the sabbath day, that they watched him.
14:2 주의 앞에 고창병 든 한 사람이 있는지라
14:2 And a certain man was there who had a disease.
14:2 And, behold, there was a certain man before him which had the dropsy.
14:3 예수께서 대답하여 율법사들과 바리새인들에게 일러 가라사대 안식일에 병
고쳐 주는 것이 합당하냐 아니하냐
14:3 And Jesus, answering, said to the scribes and Pharisees, Is it right to make people
well on the Sabbath or not?
14:3 And Jesus answering spoke unto the lawyers and Pharisees, saying, Is
it lawful to heal on the sabbath day?
14:4 저희가 잠잠하거늘 예수께서 그 사람을 데려다가 고쳐 보내시고
14:4 But they said nothing. And he made him well and sent him away.
14:4 And they held their peace. And he took him, and healed him, and let
him go;
14:5 또 저희에게 이르시되 너희 중에 누가 그 아들이나 소나 우물에 빠졌으면
안식일에라도 곧 끌어내지 않겠느냐 하시니
14:5 And he said to them, Which of you, whose ox or ass has got into a water-hole, will
not straight away get him out on the Sabbath?
14:5 And answered them, saying, Which of you shall have an ass or an ox fallen
into a pit, and will not immediately pull him out on the sabbath day?
14:6 저희가 이에 대하여 대답지 못하니라
14:6 And they had no answer to that question.
14:6 And they could not answer him again to these things.
14:7 ○ 청함을 받은 사람들의 상좌 택함을 보시고 저희에게 비유로 말씀하여
가라사대
14:7 And he gave teaching in the form of a story to the guests who came to the feast,
when he saw how they took the best seats; saying to them,
14:7 And he put forth a parable to those which were bidden, when he marked
how they chose out the chief rooms; saying unto them.
14:8 네가 누구에게나 혼인 잔치에 청함을 받았을 때에 상좌에 앉지 말라 그렇지
않으면 너보다 더 높은 사람이 청함을 받은 경우에
14:8 When you get a request to come to a feast, do not take the best seat, for a more
important man than you may be coming,
14:8 When you are bidden of any man to a wedding, sit not down in the highest
room; lest a more honourable man than you be bidden of him;
14:9 너와 저를 청한 자가 와서 너더러 이 사람에게 자리를 내어 주라 하리니
그때에 네가 부끄러워 말석으로 가게 되리라
14:9 And then the giver of the feast will come to you and say, Give your place to this
man; and you, with shame, will have to take the lowest seat.
14:9 And he that bade you and him come and say to you, Give this man place;
and you begin with shame to take the low room.
14:10 청함을 받았을 때에 차라리 가서 말석에 앉으라 그러면 너를 청한 자가
와서 너더러 벗이여 올라 앉으라 하리니 그때에야 함께 앉은 모든 사람 앞에 영광이
있으리라
14:10 But when you come, go and take the lowest seat, so that when the giver of the feast
comes, he may say to you, Friend, come up higher; and then you will have honour
in the eyes of all the others who are there.
14:10 But when you are bidden, go and sit down in the low room; that when
he that bade you comes, he may say unto you, Friend, go up higher: then shall
you have worship in the presence of them that sit to eat with you.
14:11 무릇 자기를 높이는 자는 낮아지고 자기를 낮추는 자는 높아지리라
14:11 For every man who gives himself a high place will be put down, but he who takes
a low place will be lifted up.
14:11 For whosoever exalts himself shall be brought low; and he that humbles
himself shall be exalted.
14:12 ○ 또 자기를 청한 자에게 이르시되 네가 점심이나 저녁이나 베풀거든 벗이나
형제나 친척이나 부한 이웃을 청하지 말라 두렵건대 그 사람들이 너를 도로 청하여
네게 갚음이 될까 하라
14:12 And he said to the master of the house, When you give a feast, do not send for your
friends and your brothers and your family or your neighbours who have wealth, for
they may give a feast for you, and so you will get a reward.
14:12 Then said he also to him that bade him, When you make a dinner or a
supper, call not your friends, nor your brethren, neither your kinsmen, nor
your rich neighbours; lest they also bid you again, and a recompence be made
you.
14:13 잔치를 배설하거든 차라리 가난한 자들과 병신들과 저는 자들과 소경들을
청하라
14:13 But when you give a feast, send for the poor and the blind and those who are broken
in body:
14:13 But when you make a feast, call the poor, the physically disabled,
the lame, the blind:
14:14 그리하면 저희가 갚을 것이 없는 고로 네게 복이 되리니 이는 의인들의 부활시에
네가 갚음을 받겠음이니라 하시더라
14:14 And you will have a blessing, because they will not be able to give you any payment,
and you will get your reward when the upright come back from the dead.
14:14 And you shall be blessed; for they cannot recompense you: for you shall
be recompensed at the resurrection of the just.
14:15 ○ 함께 먹는 사람 중에 하나가 이 말을 듣고 이르되 무릇 하나님의 나라에서
떡을 먹는 자는 복되도다 하니
14:15 And, hearing these words, one of those who were at table with him said to him, Happy
is the man who will be a guest in the kingdom of God.
14:15 And when one of them that sat at food with him heard these things,
he said unto him, Blessed is he that shall eat bread in the kingdom of God.
14:16 이르시되 어떤 사람이 큰 잔치를 배설하고 많은 사람을 청하였더니
14:16 And he said to them, A certain man gave a great feast, and sent word of it to a
number of people.
14:16 Then said he unto him, A certain man made a great supper, and bade
many:
14:17 잔치할 시간에 그 청하였던 자들에게 종을 보내어 가로되 오소서 모든 것이
준비되었나이다 하매
14:17 And when the time had come, he sent his servants to say to them, Come, for all things
are now ready.
14:17 And sent his servant at supper time to say to them that were bidden,
Come; for all things are now ready.
14:18 다 일치하게 사양하여 하나는 가로되 나는 밭을 샀으매 불가불 나가 보아야
하겠으니 청컨대 나를 용서하도록 하라 하고
14:18 And they all gave reasons why they were not able to come. The first said to him,
I have got a new field, and it is necessary for me to go and see it: I am full of
regret that I am unable to come.
14:18 And they all with one consent began to make excuse. The first said
unto him, I have bought a piece of ground, and I must essentially go and see
it: I pray you have me excused.
14:19 또 하나는 가로되 나는 소 다섯 겨리를 샀으매 시험하러 가니 청컨대 나를
용서하도록 하라 하고
14:19 And another said, I have got some cattle, and I am going to make a test of them:
I am full of regret that I am unable to come.
14:19 And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove
them: I pray you have me excused.
14:20 또 하나는 가로되 나는 장가 들었으니 그러므로 가지 못하겠노라 하는지라
14:20 And another said, I have been married, and so I am not able to come.
14:20 And another said, I have married a wife, and therefore I cannot come.
14:21 종이 돌아와 주인에게 그대로 고하니 이에 집 주인이 노하여 그 종에게 이르되
빨리 시내의 거리와 골목으로 나가서 가난한 자들과 병신들과 소경들과 저는 자들을
데려오라 하니라
14:21 And the servant came back and gave his master an account of these things. Then the
master of the house was angry and said to the servant, Go out quickly into the streets
of the town and get the poor, the blind, and those who are broken in body.
14:21 So that servant came, and showed his lord these things. Then the master
of the house being angry said to his servant, Go out quickly into the streets
and lanes of the city, and bring in here the poor, and the physically disabled,
and the halt, and the blind.
14:22 종이 가로되 주인이여 명하신 대로 하였으되 오히려 자리가 있나이다
14:22 And the servant said, Lord, your orders have been done, and still there is room.
14:22 And the servant said, Lord, it is done as you have commanded, and yet
there is room.
14:23 주인이 종에게 이르되 길과 산울 가로 나가서 사람을 강권하여 데려다가
내 집을 채우라
14:23 And the lord said to the servant, Go out into the roads and the fields, and make
them come in, so that my house may be full.
14:23 And the lord said unto the servant, Go out into the highways and hedges,
and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled.
14:24 내가 너희에게 말하노니 전에 청하였던 그 사람은 하나도 내 잔치를 맛보지
못하리라 하였다 하시니라
14:24 For I say to you that not one of those who were requested to come will have a taste
of my feast.
14:24 For I say unto you, That none of those men which were bidden shall
taste of my supper.
14:25 ○ 허다한 무리가 함께 갈새 예수께서 돌이키사 이르시되
14:25 Now a great number of people went with him.
14:25 And there went great multitudes with him: and he turned, and said unto
them,
14:26 무릇 내게 오는 자가 자기 부모와 처자와 형제와 자매와 및 자기 목숨까지
미워하지 아니하면 능히 나의 제자가 되지 못하고
14:26 And turning round, he said to them, If any man comes to me, and has not hate for
his father and mother and wife and children and brothers and sisters, and even for
his life, he may not be my disciple.
14:26 If any man come to me, and hate not his father, and mother, and wife,
and children, and brethren, and sisters, yea, and his own life also, he cannot
be my disciple.
14:27 누구든지 자기 십자가를 지고 나를 좇지 않는 자도 능히 나의 제자가 되지
못하리라
14:27 Whoever does not take up his cross and come after me may not be my disciple.
14:27 And whosoever does not bear his cross, and come after me, cannot be
my disciple.
14:28 너희 중에 누가 망대를 세우고자 할진대 자기의 가진 것이 준공하기까지에
족할는지 먼저 앉아 그 비용을 예산하지 아니하겠느냐
14:28 For which of you, desiring to put up a tower, does not first give much thought to
the price, if he will have enough to make it complete?
14:28 For which of you, intending to build a tower, sits not down first,
and counts the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?
14:29 그렇게 아니하여 그 기초만 쌓고 능히 이루지 못하면 보는 자가 다 비웃어
14:29 For fear that if he makes a start and is not able to go on with it to the end, all
who see it will be laughing at him,
14:29 Lest lest by any means, after he has laid the foundation, and is not
able to finish it, all that behold it begin to mock him,
14:30 가로되 이 사람이 역사를 시작하고 능히 이루지 못하였다 하리라
14:30 And saying, This man made a start at building and is not able to make it complete.
14:30 Saying, This man began to build, and was not able to finish.
14:31 또 어느 임금이 다른 임금과 싸우러 갈 때에 먼저 앉아 일만으로서 저 이만을
가지고 오는 자를 대적할 수 있을까 헤아리지 아니하겠느냐
14:31 Or what king, going to war with another king, will not first take thought if he
will be strong enough, with ten thousand men, to keep off him who comes against
him with twenty thousand?
14:31 Or what king, going to make war against another king, sits not down
first, and consults whether he be able with ten thousand to meet him that comes
against him with twenty thousand?
14:32 만일 못할 터이면 저가 아직 멀리 있을 동안에 사신을 보내어 화친을 청할지니라
14:32 Or while the other is still a great distance away, he sends representatives requesting
conditions of peace.
14:32 Or else, while the other is yet a great way off, he sends an embassy,
and desires conditions of peace.
14:33 이와 같이 너희 중에 누구든지 자기의 모든 소유를 버리지 아니하면 능히
내 제자가 되지 못하리라
14:33 And so whoever is not ready to give up all he has may not be my disciple.
14:33 So likewise, whosoever he be of you that forsakes not all that he has,
he cannot be my disciple.
14:34 소금이 좋은 것이나 소금도 만일 그 맛을 잃었으면 무엇으로 짜게 하리요
14:34 For salt is good, but if the taste goes from it, of what use is it?
14:34 Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his savour, wherewith shall
it be seasoned?
14:35 땅에도 거름에도 쓸 데 없어 내어버리느니라 들을 귀가 있는 자는 들을지어다
하시니라
14:35 It is no good for the land or for the place of waste; no one has a use for it. He
who has ears, let him give ear.
14:35 It is neither fit for the land, nor yet for the dunghill; but men cast
it out. He that has ears to hear, let him hear.
15:1 모든 세리와 죄인들이 말씀을 들으러 가까이 나아오니
15:1 Now all the tax-farmers and sinners came near to give ear to him.
15:1 Then drew near unto him all the publicans and sinners in order to hear
him.
15:2 바리새인과 서기관들이 원망하여 가로되 이 사람이 죄인을 영접하고 음식을
같이 먹는다 하더라
15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes were angry, saying, This man gives approval to sinners,
and takes food with them.
15:2 And the Pharisees and scribes murmured, saying, This man receives sinners,
and eats with them.
15:3 ○ 예수께서 저희에게 이 비유로 이르시되
15:3 And he made a story for them, saying,
15:3 And he spoke this parable unto them, saying,
15:4 너희 중에 어느 사람이 양 일백 마리가 있는데 그 중에 하나를 잃으면 아흔
아홉 마리를 들에 두고 그 잃은 것을 찾도록 찾아다니지 아니하느냐
15:4 What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if one of them gets loose and goes away,
will not let the ninety-nine be in the waste land by themselves, and go after the
wandering one, till he sees where it is?
15:4 What man of you, having an hundred sheep, if he lose one of them, does
not leave the ninety and nine in the wilderness, and go after that which is
lost, until he find it?
15:5 또 찾은즉 즐거워 어깨에 메고
15:5 And when he has got it again, he takes it in his arms with joy.
15:5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing.
15:6 집에 와서 그 벗과 이웃을 불러 모으고 말하되 나와 함께 즐기자 나의 잃은
양을 찾았노라 하리라
15:6 And when he gets back to his house, he sends for his neighbours and friends, saying
to them, Be glad with me, for I have got back my sheep which had gone away.
15:6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbours,
saying unto them, Rejoice with me; for I have found my sheep which was lost.
15:7 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이와 같이 죄인 하나가 회개하면 하늘에서는 회개할
것 없는 의인 아흔 아홉을 인하여 기뻐하는 것보다 더하리라
15:7 I say to you that even so there will be more joy in heaven when one sinner is turned
away from his wrongdoing, than for ninety-nine good men, who have no need of a change
of heart.
15:7 I say unto you, that likewise joy shall be in heaven over one sinner
that repents, more than over ninety and nine just persons, which need no repentance.
15:8 ○ 어느 여자가 열 드라크마가 있는데 하나를 잃으면 등불을 켜고 집을 쓸며
찾도록 부지런히 찾지 아니하겠느냐
15:8 Or what woman, having ten bits of silver, if one bit has gone from her hands, will
not get a light, and go through her house, searching with care till she sees it?
15:8 Either what woman having ten pieces of silver, if she lose one piece,
does not light a candle, and sweep the house, and seek diligently till she find
it?
15:9 또 찾은즉 벗과 이웃을 불러 모으고 말하되 나와 함께 즐기자 잃은 드라크마를
찾았노라 하리라
15:9 And when she has it again, she gets her friends and neighbours together, saying,
Be glad with me, for I have got back the bit of silver which had gone from me.
15:9 And when she has found it, she calls her friends and her neighbours
together, saying, Rejoice with me; for I have found the piece which I had lost.
15:10 내가 너희에게 이르노니 이와 같이 죄인 하나가 회개하면 하나님의 사자들
앞에 기쁨이 되느니라
15:10 Even so, I say to you, There is joy among the angels of God, when one sinner is
turned away from his wrongdoing.
15:10 Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels
of God over one sinner that repents.
15:11 ○ 또 가라사대 어떤 사람이 두 아들이 있는데
15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
15:11 And he said, A certain man had two sons:
15:12 그 둘째가 아비에게 말하되 아버지여 재산 중에서 내게 돌아올 분깃을 내게
주소서 하는지라 아비가 그 살림을 각각 나눠 주었더니
15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me that part of your property
which will be mine. And he made division of his goods between them.
15:12 And the younger of them said to his father, Father, give me the portion
of goods that falls to me. And he divided unto them his living.
15:13 그 후 며칠이 못되어 둘째 아들이 재물을 다 모아가지고 먼 나라에 가 거기서
허랑방탕하여 그 재산을 허비하더니
15:13 And not long after, the younger son got together everything which was his and took
a journey into a far-away country, and there all his money went in foolish living.
15:13 And not many days after the younger son gathered all together, and
took his journey into a far country, and there wasted his substance with riotous
living.
15:14 다 없이한 후 그 나라에 크게 흉년이 들어 저가 비로소 궁핍한지라
15:14 And when everything was gone, there was no food to be had in that country, and he
was in need.
15:14 And when he had spent all, there arose a mighty famine in that land;
and he began to be in lack.
15:15 가서 그 나라 백성 중 하나에게 붙여 사니 그가 저를 들로 보내어 돼지를
치게 하였는데
15:15 And he went and put himself into the hands of one of the people of that country,
and he sent him into his fields to give the pigs their food.
15:15 And he went and joined himself to a citizen of that country; and he
sent him into his fields to feed swine.
15:16 저가 돼지 먹는 쥐엄 열매로 배를 채우고자 하되 주는 자가 없는지라
15:16 And so great was his need that he would have been glad to take the pigs' food, and
no one gave him anything.
15:16 And he would fain have filled his belly with the husks that the swine
did eat: and no man gave unto him.
15:17 이에 스스로 돌이켜 가로되 내 아버지에게는 양식이 풍족한 품군이 얼마나
많은고 나는 여기서 주려 죽는구나
15:17 But when he came to his senses, he said, What numbers of my father's servants have
bread enough, and more, while I am near to death here through need of food!
15:17 And when he came to himself, he said, How many hired servants of my
father's have bread enough and to spare, and I perish with hunger!
15:18 내가 일어나 아버지께 가서 이르기를 아버지여 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를
얻었사오니
15:18 I will get up and go to my father, and will say to him, Father, I have done wrong,
against heaven and in your eyes:
15:18 I will arise and go to my father, and will say unto him, Father, I
have sinned against heaven, and before you,
15:19 지금부터는 아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당치 못하겠나이다 나를 품군의
하나로 보소서 하리라 하고
15:19 I am no longer good enough to be named your son: make me like one of your servants.
15:19 And am no more worthy to be called your son: make me as one of your
hired servants.
15:20 이에 일어나서 아버지께 돌아가니라 아직도 상거가 먼데 아버지가 저를
보고 측은히 여겨 달려가 목을 안고 입을 맞추니
15:20 And he got up and went to his father. But while he was still far away, his father
saw him and was moved with pity for him and went quickly and took him in his arms
and gave him a kiss.
15:20 And he arose, and came to his father. But when he was yet a great way
off, his father saw him, and had compassion, and ran, and fell on his neck,
and kissed him.
15:21 아들이 가로되 아버지여 내가 하늘과 아버지께 죄를 얻었사오니 지금부터는
아버지의 아들이라 일컬음을 감당치 못하겠나이다 하나
15:21 And his son said to him, Father, I have done wrong, against heaven and in your eyes:
I am no longer good enough to be named your son.
15:21 And the son said unto him, Father, I have sinned against heaven, and
in your sight, and am no more worthy to be called your son.
15:22 아버지는 종들에게 이르되 제일 좋은 옷을 내어다가 입히고 손에 가락지를
끼우고 발에 신을 신기라
15:22 But the father said to his servants, Get out the first robe quickly, and put it
on him, and put a ring on his hand and shoes on his feet:
15:22 But the father said to his servants, Bring forth the best robe, and
put it on him; and put a ring on his hand, and shoes on his feet:
15:23 그리고 살진 송아지를 끌어다가 잡으라 우리가 먹고 즐기자
15:23 And get the fat young ox and put it to death, and let us have a feast, and be glad.
15:23 And bring here the fatted calf, and kill it; and let us eat, and be
merry:
15:24 이 내 아들은 죽었다가 다시 살아났으며 내가 잃었다가 다시 얻었노라 하니
저희가 즐거워하더라
15:24 For this, my son, who was dead, is living again; he had gone away from me, and has
come back. And they were full of joy.
15:24 For this my son was dead, and is alive again; he was lost, and is found.
And they began to be merry.
15:25 맏아들은 밭에 있다가 돌아와 집에 가까왔을 때에 풍류와 춤추는 소리를
듣고
15:25 Now the older son was in the field: and when he came near the house, the sounds
of music and dancing came to his ears.
15:25 Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to
the house, he heard music and dancing.
15:26 한 종을 불러 이 무슨 일인가 물은대
15:26 And he sent for one of the servants, questioning him about what it might be.
15:26 And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.
15:27 대답하되 당신의 동생이 돌아왔으매 당신의 아버지가 그의 건강한 몸을
다시 맞아들이게 됨을 인하여 살진 송아지를 잡았나이다 하니
15:27 And he said to him, Your brother has come; and your father has had the young ox
put to death because he has come back safely.
15:27 And he said unto him, Your brother has come; and your father has killed
the fatted calf, because he has received him safe and sound.
15:28 저가 노하여 들어가기를 즐겨 아니하거늘 아버지가 나와서 권한 대
15:28 But he was angry and would not go in; and his father came out and made a request
to him to come in.
15:28 And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out,
and implored him.
15:29 아버지께 대답하여 가로되 내가 여러 해 아버지를 섬겨 명을 어김이 없거늘
내게는 염소 새끼라도 주어 나와 내 벗으로 즐기게 하신 일이 없더니
15:29 But he made answer and said to his father, See, all these years I have been your
servant, doing your orders in everything: and you never gave me even a young goat
so that I might have a feast with my friends:
15:29 And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve
you, neither transgressed I at any time your commandment: and yet you never
gave me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:
15:30 아버지의 살림을 창기와 함께 먹어 버린 이 아들이 돌아오매 이를 위하여
살진 송아지를 잡으셨나이다
15:30 But when this your son came, who has been wasting your property with bad women,
you put to death the fat young ox for him.
15:30 But as soon as this your son was come, which has devoured your living
with harlots, you have killed for him the fatted calf.
15:31 아버지가 이르되 얘 너는 항상 나와 함께 있으니 내 것이 다 네 것이로되
15:31 And he said to him, Son, you are with me at all times, and all I have is yours.
15:31 And he said unto him, Son, you are ever with me, and all that I have
is yours.
15:32 이 네 동생은 죽었다가 살았으며 내가 잃었다가 얻었기로 우리가 즐거워하고
기뻐하는 것이 마땅하다 하니라
15:32 But it was right to be glad and to have a feast; for this your brother, who was
dead, is living again; he had gone away and has come back.
15:32 It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this your brother
was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.
16:1 또한 제자들에게 이르시되 어떤 부자에게 청직이가 있는데 그가 주인의 소유를
허비한다는 말이 그 주인에게 들린지라
16:1 And another time he said to the disciples, There was a certain man of great wealth
who had a servant; and it was said to him that this servant was wasting his goods.
16:1 And he said also unto his disciples, There was a certain rich man, which
had a steward; and the same was accused unto him that he had wasted his goods.
16:2 주인이 저를 불러 가로되 내가 네게 대하여 들은 이 말이 어찜이뇨 네 보던
일을 셈하라 청직이 사무를 계속하지 못하리라 하니
16:2 And he sent for him and said, What is this which is said about you? give me an account
of all you have done, for you will no longer be the manager of my property.
16:2 And he called him, and said unto him, How is it that I hear this of
you? give an account (o. logos) of your stewardship; for you may be no longer
steward.
16:3 청직이가 속으로 이르되 주인이 내 직분을 빼앗으니 내가 무엇을 할꼬 땅을
파자니 힘이 없고 빌어 먹자니 부끄럽구나
16:3 And the servant said to himself, What am I to do now that my lord takes away my
position? I have not enough strength for working in the fields, and I would be shamed
if I made requests for money from people in the streets.
16:3 Then the steward said within himself, What shall I do? for my lord takes
away from me the stewardship: I cannot dig; to beg I am ashamed.
16:4 내가 할 일을 알았도다 이렇게 하면 직분을 빼앗긴 후에 저희가 나를 자기
집으로 영접하리라 하고
16:4 I have come to a decision what to do, so that when I am put out of my position they
will take me into their houses.
16:4 I am resolved what to do, that, when I am put out of the stewardship,
they may receive me into their houses.
16:5 주인에게 빚진 자를 낱낱이 불러다가 먼저 온 자에게 이르되 네가 내 주인에게
얼마나 졌느뇨
16:5 And sending for every one who was in debt to his lord he said to the first, What
is the amount of your debt to my lord?
16:5 So he called every one of his lord's debtors unto him, and said unto
the first, How much owe you unto my lord?
16:6 말하되 기름 백 말이니이다 가로되 여기 네 증서를 가지고 빨리 앉아 오십이라
쓰라 하고
16:6 And he said, A hundred measures of oil. And he said, Take your account straight
away and put down fifty.
16:6 And he said, An hundred measures of oil. And he said unto him, Take
your bill, and sit down quickly, and write fifty.
16:7 또 다른 이에게 이르되 너는 얼마나 졌느뇨 가로되 밀 백 석이니이다 이르되
여기 네 증서를 가지고 팔십이라 쓰라 하였는지라
16:7 Then he said to another, What is the amount of your debt? And he said, A hundred
measures of grain. And he said to him, Take your account and put down eighty.
16:7 Then said he to another, And how much owe you? And he said, An hundred
measures of wheat. And he said unto him, Take your bill, and write fourscore.
16:8 주인이 이 옳지 않은 청직이가 일을 지혜 있게 하였으므로 칭찬하였으니
이 세대의 아들들이 자기 시대에 있어서는 빛의 아들들보다 더 지혜로움이니라
16:8 And his lord was pleased with the false servant, because he had been wise; for the
sons of this world are wiser in relation to their generation than the sons of light.
16:8 And the lord commended the unjust steward, because he had done wisely:
for the children of this world are in their generation wiser than the children
of light.
16:9 내가 너희에게 말하노니 불의의 재물로 친구를 사귀라 그리하면 없어질 때에
저희가 영원한 처소로 너희를 영접하리라
16:9 And I say to you, Make friends for yourselves through the wealth of this life, so
that when it comes to an end, you may be taken into the eternal resting-places.
16:9 And I say unto you, Make to yourselves friends of the mammon of unrighteousness;
that, when all of you fail, they may receive you into everlasting habitations.
16:10 지극히 작은 것에 충성된 자는 큰 것에도 충성되고 지극히 작은 것에 불의한
자는 큰 것에도 불의하니라
16:10 He who is true in a little, is true in much; he who is false in small things, is
false in great.
16:10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much:
and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
16:11 너희가 만일 불의한 재물에 충성치 아니하면 누가 참된 것으로 너희에게
맡기겠느냐
16:11 If, then, you have not been true in your use of the wealth of this life, who will
give into your care the true wealth?
16:11 If therefore all of you have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon,
who will commit to your trust the true riches?
16:12 너희가 만일 남의 것에 충성치 아니하면 누가 너희의 것을 너희에게 주겠느냐
16:12 And if you have not been true in your care of the property of other people, who
will give you that which is yours?
16:12 And if all of you have not been faithful in that which is another man's,
who shall give you that which is your own?
16:13 집 하인이 두 주인을 섬길 수 없나니 혹 이를 미워하고 저를 사랑하거나
혹 이를 중히 여기고 저를 경히 여길 것임이니라 너희가 하나님과 재물을 겸하여
섬길 수 없느니라
16:13 No man may be a servant to two masters: for he will have hate for the one and love
for the other; or he will keep to the one and have no respect for the other. You
may not be servants of God and of wealth.
16:13 No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one,
and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other.
All of you cannot serve God and mammon.
16:14 ○ 바리새인들은 돈을 좋아하는 자라 이 모든 것을 듣고 비웃거늘
16:14 And the Pharisees, who had a great love of money, hearing these things, were making
sport of him.
16:14 And the Pharisees also, who were covetous, heard all these things:
and they derided him.
16:15 예수께서 이르시되 너희는 사람 앞에서 스스로 옳다 하는 자이나 너희 마음을
하나님께서 아시나니 사람 중에 높임을 받는 그것은 하나님 앞에 미움을 받는 것이니라
16:15 And he said, You take care to seem right in the eyes of men, but God sees your hearts:
and those things which are important in the opinion of men, are evil in the eyes
of God.
16:15 And he said unto them, All of you are they which justify yourselves
before men; but God knows your hearts: for that which is highly esteemed among
men is abomination in the sight of God.
16:16 율법과 선지자는 요한의 때까지요 그 후부터는 하나님 나라의 복음이 전파되어
사람마다 그리로 침입하느니라
16:16 The law and the prophets were till John: but then came the preaching of the kingdom
of God, and everyone makes his way into it by force.
16:16 The law and the prophets were until John: since that time the kingdom
of God is preached, and every man presses into it.
16:17 그러나 율법의 한 획이 떨어짐보다 천지의 없어짐이 쉬우리라
16:17 But heaven and earth will come to an end before the smallest letter of the law may
be dropped out.
16:17 And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the
law to fail.
16:18 무릇 그 아내를 버리고 다른 데 장가드는 자도 간음함이요 무릇 버리운 이에게
장가드는 자도 간음함이니라
16:18 Everyone who puts away his wife and takes another, is a false husband: and he who
is married to a woman whose husband has put her away, is no true husband to her.
16:18 Whosoever puts away his wife, and marries another, commits adultery:
and whosoever marries her that is put away from her husband commits adultery.
16:19 ○ 한 부자가 있어 자색 옷과 고운 베옷을 입고 날마다 호화로이 연락하는데
16:19 Now there was a certain man of great wealth, who was dressed in fair clothing of
purple and delicate linen, and was shining and glad every day.
16:19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine
linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
16:20 나사로라 이름한 한 거지가 헌데를 앓으며 그 부자의 대문에 누워
16:20 And a certain poor man, named Lazarus, was stretched out at his door, full of wounds,
16:20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his
gate, full of sores,
16:21 부자의 상에서 떨어지는 것으로 배불리려 하매 심지어 개들이 와서 그 헌데를
핥더라
16:21 Desiring the broken bits of food which came from the table of the man of wealth;
and even the dogs came and put their tongues on his wounds.
16:21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's
table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
16:22 이에 그 거지가 죽어 천사들에게 받들려 아브라함의 품에 들어가고 부자도
죽어 장사되매
16:22 And in time the poor man came to his end, and angels took him to Abraham's breast.
And the man of wealth came to his end, and was put in the earth.
16:22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels
into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
16:23 저가 음부에서 고통 중에 눈을 들어 멀리 아브라함과 그의 품에 있는 나사로를
보고
16:23 And in hell, being in great pain, lifting up his eyes he saw Abraham, far away,
and Lazarus on his breast.
16:23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and sees Abraham
far off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
16:24 불러 가로되 아버지 아브라함이여 나를 긍휼히 여기사 나사로를 보내어
그 손가락 끝에 물을 찍어 내 혀를 서늘하게 하소서 내가 이 불꽃 가운데서 고민하나이다
16:24 And he gave a cry and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me and send Lazarus, so
that he may put the end of his finger in water and put it on my tongue, for I am
cruelly burning in this flame.
16:24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus,
that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am
tormented in this flame.
16:25 아브라함이 가로되 얘 너는 살았을 때에 네 좋은 것을 받았고 나사로는
고난을 받았으니 이것을 기억하라 이제 저는 여기서 위로를 받고 너는 고민을 받느니라
16:25 But Abraham said, Keep in mind, my son, that when you were living, you had your
good things, while Lazarus had evil things: but now, he is comforted and you are
in pain.
16:25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that you in your lifetime received
your good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted,
and you are tormented.
16:26 이뿐 아니라 너희와 우리 사이에 큰 구렁이 끼어 있어 여기서 너희에게
건너가고자 하되 할 수 없고 거기서 우리에게 건너올 수도 없게 하였느니라
16:26 And in addition, there is a deep division fixed between us and you, so that those
who might go from here to you are not able to do so, and no one may come from you
to us.
16:26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed:
so that they which would pass from behind to you cannot; neither can they pass
to us, that would come from thence.
16:27 가로되 그러면 구하노니 아버지여 나사로를 내 아버지의 집에 보내소서
16:27 And he said, Father, it is my request that you will send him to my father's house;
16:27 Then he said, I pray you therefore, father, that you would send him
to my father's house:
16:28 내 형제 다섯이 있으니 저희에게 증거하게 하여 저희로 이 고통 받는 곳에
오지 않게 하소서
16:28 For I have five brothers; and let him give them an account of these things, so that
they may not come to this place of pain.
16:28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they
also come into this place of torment.
16:29 아브라함이 가로되 저희에게 모세와 선지자들이 있으니 그들에게 들을지니라
16:29 But Abraham said, They have Moses and the prophets; let them give ear to what they
say.
16:29 Abraham says unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear
them.
16:30 가로되 그렇지 아니하니이다 아버지 아브라함이여 만일 죽은 자에게서 저희에게
가는 자가 있으면 회개하리이다
16:30 And he said, No, father Abraham, but if someone went to them from the dead, their
hearts would be changed.
16:30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the
dead, they will repent.
16:31 가로되 모세와 선지자들에게 듣지 아니하면 비록 죽은 자 가운데서 살아나는
자가 있을지라도 권함을 받지 아니하리라 하였다 하시니라
16:31 And he said to him, If they will not give attention to Moses and the prophets, they
will not be moved even if someone comes back from the dead.
16:31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither
will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.
