21:1 다윗이 놉에 가서 제사장 아히멜렉에게 이르니 아히멜렉이 떨며 다윗을 영접하며
그에게 이르되 어찌하여 네가 홀로 있고 함께 하는 자가 아무도 없느냐
21:1 Then David came to Nob, to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was full of fear
at meeting David, and said to him, Why are you by yourself, having no man with you?
21:1 Then came David to Nob to Ahimelech the priest: and Ahimelech was afraid at the meeting of David, and said unto him, Why are you alone, and no man with you?
21:2 다윗이 제사장 아히멜렉에게 이르되 왕이 내게 일을 명하고 이르시기를 내가
너를 보내는 바와 네게 명한 바 일의 아무 것이라도 사람에게 알게 하지 말라 하시기로
내가 나의 소년들을 여차여차한 곳으로 약정하였나이다
21:2 And David said to Ahimelech the priest, The king has given me orders and has said
to me, Say nothing to anyone about the business on which I am sending you and the
orders I have given you: and a certain place has been fixed to which the young men
are to go.
21:2 And David said unto Ahimelech the priest, The king has commanded me a business, and has said unto me, Let no man know any thing of the business whereabouts I send you, and what I have commanded you: and I have appointed my servants to such and such a place.
21:3 이제 당신의 수중에 무엇이 있나이까 떡 다섯 덩이나 무엇이든지 있는 대로
내 손에 주소서
21:3 So now, if you have here five cakes of bread, give them into my hand, or whatever
you have.
21:3 Now therefore what is under yours hand? give me five loaves of bread in mine hand, or what there is present.
21:4 제사장이 다윗에게 대답하여 가로되 항용 떡은 내 수중에 없으나 거룩한
떡은 있나니 그 소년들이 부녀를 가까이만 아니하였으면 주리라
21:4 And the priest, answering David, said, I have no common bread here but there is
holy bread; if only the young men have kept themselves from women.
21:4 And the priest answered David, and said, There is no common bread under mine hand, but there is hallowed bread; if the young men have kept themselves at least from women.
21:5 다윗이 제사장에게 대답하여 가로되 우리가 참으로 삼 일 동안이나 부녀를
가까이 하지 아니하였나이다 나의 떠난 길이 보통 여행이라도 소년들의 그릇이 성결하겠거든
하물며 오늘날 그들의 그릇이 성결치 아니하겠나이까 하매
21:5 And David in answer said to the priest, Certainly women have been kept from us;
and as has been done before when I have gone out the arms of the young men were
made holy, even though it was a common journey; how much more today will their arms
be made holy.
21:5 And David answered the priest, and said unto him, Truthfully women have been kept from us about these three days, since I came out, and the vessels of the young men are holy, and the bread is in a manner common, yea, though it were sanctified this day in the vessel.
21:6 제사장이 그 거룩한 떡을 주었으니 거기는 진설병 곧 여호와 앞에서 물려
낸 떡 밖에 없음이라 이 떡은 더운 떡을 드리는 날에 물려 낸 것이더라
21:6 So the priest gave him the holy bread: there was no other, only the holy bread which
had been taken from before the Lord, so that new bread might be put in its place
on the day when it was taken away.
21:6 So the priest gave him hallowed bread: for there was no bread there but the showbread, that was taken from before the LORD, to put hot bread in the day when it was taken away.
21:7 ○ 그 날에 사울의 신하 한 사람이 여호와 앞에 머물러 있었는데 그는 도엑이라
이름하는 에돔 사람이요 사울의 목자장이었더라
21:7 Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, kept back before the
Lord; his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the strongest of Saul's runners.
21:7 Now a certain man of the servants of Saul was there that day, detained before the LORD; and his name was Doeg, an Edomite, the chiefest of the herdmen that belonged to Saul.
21:8 다윗이 아히멜렉에게 이르되 여기 당신의 수중에 창이나 칼이 없나이까 왕의
일이 급하므로 내가 내 칼과 병기를 가지지 못하였나이다
21:8 And David said to Ahimelech, Have you no sword or spear with you here? for I have
come without my sword and other arms, because the king's business had to be done
quickly.
21:8 And David said unto Ahimelech, And is there not here under yours hand spear or sword? for I have neither brought my sword nor my weapons with me, because the king's business required haste.
21:9 제사장이 가로되 네가 엘라 골짜기에서 죽인 블레셋 사람 골리앗의 칼이
보자기에 싸여 에봇 뒤에 있으니 네가 그것을 가지려거든 가지라 여기는 그 밖에
다른 것이 없느니라 다윗이 가로되 그 같은 것이 또 없나니 내게 주소서
21:9 And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you put to death
in the valley of Elah, is here folded in a cloth at the back of the ephod: take
that, if you will, for there is no other sword here. And David said, there is no
other sword like that; give it to me.
21:9 And the priest said, The sword of Goliath the Philistine, whom you slew in the valley of Elah, behold, it is here wrapped in a cloth behind the ephod: if you will take that, take it: for there is no other save that here. And David said, There is none like that; give it me.
21:10 ○ 그 날에 다윗이 사울을 두려워하여 일어나 도망하여 가드 왕 아기스에게로
가니
21:10 Then David got up and went in flight that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish,
the king of Gath.
21:10 And David arose and fled that day for fear of Saul, and went to Achish the king of Gath.
21:11 아기스의 신하들이 아기스에게 고하되 이는 그 땅의 왕 다윗이 아니니이까
무리가 춤추며 이 사람의 일을 창화하여 가로되 사울의 죽인 자는 천천이요
다윗은 만만이로다 하지 아니하였나이까 한지라
21:11 And the servants of Achish said to him, Is not this David, the king of the land?
did they not make songs about him in their dances, saying, Saul has put to death
thousands, and David tens of thousands?
21:11 And the servants of Achish said unto him, Is not this David the king of the land? did they not sing one to another of him in dances, saying, Saul has slain his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
21:12 다윗이 이 말을 그 마음에 두고 가드 왕 아기스를 심히 두려워하여
21:12 And David took these words to heart, fearing Achish, the king of Gath.
21:12 And David laid up these words in his heart, and was sore afraid of Achish the king of Gath.
21:13 그들의 앞에서 그 행동을 변하여 미친 체하고 대문짝에 그적거리며 침을
수염에 흘리매
21:13 So changing his behaviour before them, he made it seem as if he was off his head,
hammering on the doors of the town, and letting the water from his mouth go down
his chin.
21:13 And he changed his behaviour before them, and feigned himself mad in their hands, and scratch on the doors of the gate, and let his spittle fall down upon his beard.
21:14 아기스가 그 신하에게 이르되 너희도 보거니와 이 사람이 미치광이로다
어찌하여 그를 내게로 데려왔느냐
21:14 Then Achish said to his servants, Look! the man is clearly off his head; why have
you let him come before me?
21:14 Then said Achish unto his servants, Lo, all of you see the man is mad: wherefore then have all of you brought him to me?
21:15 내게 미치광이가 부족하여서 너희가 이 자를 데려다가 내 앞에서 미친 짓을
하게 하느냐 이 자가 어찌 내 집에 들어오겠느냐 하니라
21:15 Are there not enough unbalanced men about me, that you have let this person come
and do such tricks before me? is such a man to come into my house?
21:15 Have I need of mad men, that all of you have brought this fellow to play the mad man in my presence? shall this fellow come into my house?
22:1 그러므로 다윗이 그 곳을 떠나 아둘람 굴로 도망하매 그 형제와 아비의 온
집이 듣고는 그리로 내려가서 그에게 이르렀고
22:1 So David went away from there and took cover in a strong place at Adullam; and his
brothers and all his father's people, hearing of it, went down to him there.
22:1 David therefore departed thence, and escaped to the cave Adullam: and when his brethren and all his father's house heard it, they went down thither to him.
22:2 환난 당한 모든 자와 빚진 자와 마음이 원통한 자가 다 그에게로 모였고
그는 그 장관이 되었는데 그와 함께 한 자가 사백 명 가량이었더라
22:2 And everyone who was in trouble, and everyone who was in debt, and everyone who
was bitter in soul, came together to him, and he became captain over them: about
four hundred men were joined to him.
22:2 And every one that was in distress, and every one that was in debt, and every one that was discontented, gathered themselves unto him; and he became a captain over them: and there were with him about four hundred men.
22:3 ○ 다윗이 거기서 모압 미스베로 가서 모압 왕에게 이르되 하나님이 나를
위하여 어떻게 하실 것을 내가 알기까지 나의 부모로 나와서 당신들과 함께 있게
하기를 청하나이다 하고
22:3 And from there David went to Mizpeh in the land of Moab: and he said to the king
of Moab, Let my father and mother come and make their living-place with you till
it is clear to me what God will do for me.
22:3 And David went thence to Mizpeh of Moab: and he said unto the king of Moab, Let my father and my mother, I pray you, come forth, and be with you, till I know what God will do for me.
22:4 부모를 인도하여 모압 왕 앞에 나아갔더니 그들이 다윗의 요새에 있을 동안에
모압 왕과 함께 있었더라
22:4 And he took them to the king of Moab and they went on living with him while David
was in his safe place.
22:4 And he brought them before the king of Moab: and they dwelt with him all the while that David was in the hold.
22:5 선지자 갓이 다윗에게 이르되 이 요새에 있지 말고 떠나 유다 땅으로 들어가라
다윗이 떠나 헤렛 수풀에 이르니라
22:5 And the prophet Gad said to David, Do not go on living in this place but go into
the land of Judah. Then David went away and came to the woodland of Hereth.
22:5 And the prophet Gad said unto David, Abide not in the hold; depart, and get you into the land of Judah. Then David departed, and came into the forest of Hareth.
22:6 ○ 사울이 다윗과 그와 함께 있는 사람들이 나타났다 함을 들으니라 때에
사울이 기브아 높은 곳에서 손에 단창을 들고 에셀나무 아래 앉았고 모든 신하들은
그 곁에 섰더니
22:6 And news was given to Saul that David had been seen, and the men who were with him:
now Saul was in Gibeah, seated under the tree in the high place, with his spear
in his hand, and all his servants were in their places before him.
22:6 When Saul heard that David was discovered, and the men that were with him, (now Saul abode in Gibeah under a tree in Ramah, having his spear in his hand, and all his servants were standing about him;)
22:7 사울이 곁에 선 신하들에게 이르되 너희 베냐민 사람들아 들으라 이새의
아들이 너희에게 각기 밭과 포도원을 주며 너희로 천부장, 백부장을 삼겠느냐
22:7 Then Saul said to his servants who were there about him, Give ear now, you Benjamites;
will the son of Jesse give to every one of you fields and vine-gardens, will he
make you all captains of hundreds and captains of thousands;
22:7 Then Saul said unto his servants that stood about him, Hear now, all of you Benjamites; will the son of Jesse give every one of you fields and vineyards, and make you all captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds;
22:8 너희가 다 공모하여 나를 대적하며 내 아들이 이새의 아들과 맹약하였으되
내게 고발하는 자가 하나도 없고 나를 위하여 슬퍼하거나 내 아들이 내 신하를 선동하여
오늘이라도 매복하였다가 나를 치려 하는 것을 내게 고발하는 자가 하나도 없도다
22:8 That all of you have made designs against me, and not one of you gave me word when
my son made an agreement with the son of Jesse, and not one of you has pity for
me or has made my eyes open to the fact that my servant has been moved by my son
against me, as at this day?
22:8 That all of you have conspired against me, and there is none that shows me that my son has made a league with the son of Jesse, and there is none of you that is sorry for me, or shows unto me that my son has stirred up my servant against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
22:9 때에 에돔 사람 도엑이 사울의 신하 중에 섰더니 대답하여 가로되 이새의
아들이 놉에 와서 아히둡의 아들 아히멜렉에게 이른 것을 내가 보았었는데
22:9 Then Doeg, the Edomite, who was by the side of the servants of Saul, in answer said,
I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub.
22:9 Then answered Doeg the Edomite, which was set over the servants of Saul, and said, I saw the son of Jesse coming to Nob, to Ahimelech the son of Ahitub.
22:10 아히멜렉이 그를 위하여 여호와께 묻고 그에게 식물도 주고 블레셋 사람
골리앗의 칼도 주더이다
22:10 And he got directions from the Lord for him, and gave him food, and put in his hand
the sword of Goliath the Philistine.
22:10 And he enquired of the LORD for him, and gave him victuals, and gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.
22:11 ○ 왕이 보내어 아히둡의 아들 제사장 아히멜렉과 그 아비의 온 집 곧 놉에
있는 제사장들을 부르매 그들이 다 왕께 이른지라
22:11 Then the king sent for Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and for all the
men of his father's family who were priests in Nob: and they all came to the king.
22:11 Then the king sent to call Ahimelech the priest, the son of Ahitub, and all his father's house, the priests that were in Nob: and they came all of them to the king.
22:12 사울이 가로되 너 아히둡의 아들아 들으라 대답하되 내 주여 내가 여기
있나이다
22:12 And Saul said, Give ear now, O son of Ahitub. And answering he said, Here I am,
my lord.
22:12 And Saul said, Hear now, you son of Ahitub. And he answered, Here I am, my lord.
22:13 사울이 그에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 이새의 아들과 공모하여 나를 대적하여
그에게 떡과 칼을 주고 그를 위하여 하나님께 물어서 그로 오늘이라도 매복하였다가
나를 치게 하려 하였느뇨
22:13 And Saul said to him, Why have you made designs against me with the son of Jesse,
giving him food and a sword and getting directions from the Lord for him, and helping
him to take up arms against me, and to be on the watch to make a secret attack on
me as he is doing now?
22:13 And Saul said unto him, Why have all of you conspired against me, you and the son of Jesse, in that you have given him bread, and a sword, and have enquired of God for him, that he should rise against me, to lie in wait, as at this day?
22:14 아히멜렉이 왕에게 대답하여 가로되 왕의 모든 신하 중에 다윗 같이 충실한
자가 누구인지요 그는 왕의 사위도 되고 왕의 모신도 되고 왕실에서 존귀한 자가
아니니이까
22:14 Then Ahimelech answering said to the king, Who among all your servants is so true
to you as David, who is the king's son-in-law, and is a captain of your armed men,
and has a place of honour in your house?
22:14 Then Ahimelech answered the king, and said, And who is so faithful among all your servants as David, which is the king's son in law, and goes at your bidding, and is honourable in yours house?
22:15 내가 그를 위하여 하나님께 물은 것이 오늘이 처음이니이까 결단코 아니니이다
원컨대 왕은 종과 종의 아비의 온 집에 아무 것도 돌리지 마옵소서 왕의 종은 이 모든
일의 대소간에 아는 것이 없나이다
22:15 Is this the first time I have got directions from God for him? Far be the thought!
let the king make no such statement against his servant or my father's family, for
your servant has no knowledge, great or small, of this thing.
22:15 Did I then begin to enquire of God for him? be it far from me: let not the king impute any thing unto his servant, nor to all the house of my father: for your servant knew nothing of all this, less or more.
22:16 왕이 가로되 아히멜렉아 네가 반드시 죽을 것이요 네 아비의 온 집도 그러하리라
하고
22:16 And the king said, You will certainly be put to death, Ahimelech, you and all your
father's family.
22:16 And the king said, You shall surely die, Ahimelech, you, and all your father's house.
22:17 왕이 좌우의 시위자에게 이르되 돌이켜 가서 여호와의 제사장들을 죽이라
그들도 다윗과 합력하였고 또 그들이 다윗의 도망한 것을 알고도 내게 고발치 아니하였음이니라
하나 왕의 신하들이 손을 들어 여호와의 제사장들 죽이기를 싫어한지라
22:17 Then the king said to the runners who were waiting near him, Put the priests of
the Lord to death; because they are on David's side, and having knowledge of his
flight, did not give me word of it. But the king's servants would not put out their
hands to make an attack on the Lord's priests.
22:17 And the king said unto the footmen that stood about him, Turn, and slay the priests of the LORD: because their hand also is with David, and because they knew when he fled, and did not show it to me. But the servants of the king would not put forth their hand to fall upon the priests of the LORD.
22:18 왕이 도엑에게 이르되 너는 돌이켜 제사장들을 죽이라 하매 에돔 사람 도엑이
돌이켜 제사장들을 쳐서 그 날에 세마포 에봇 입은 자 팔십 오 인을 죽였고
22:18 Then the king said to Doeg, You are to put the priests to death. And Doeg the Edomite,
turning on the priests and attacking them, put to death that day eighty-five men
who took up the ephod.
22:18 And the king said to Doeg, Turn you, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and he fell upon the priests, and slew on that day fourscore and five persons that did wear a linen ephod.
22:19 제사장들의 성읍 놉의 남녀와 아이들과 젖먹는 자들과 소와 나귀와 양을
칼로 쳤더라
22:19 And Nob, the town of the priests, he put to the sword, all the men and women, children
and babies at the breast, and oxen and asses and sheep.
22:19 And Nob, the city of the priests, stroke he with the edge of the sword, both men and women, children and infants, and oxen, and asses, and sheep, with the edge of the sword.
22:20 ○ 아히둡의 아들 아히멜렉의 아들 중 하나가 피하였으니 그 이름은 아비아달이라
그가 도망하여 다윗에게로 가서
22:20 And Abiathar, one of the sons of Ahimelech, the son of Ahitub, got away and went
in flight after David;
22:20 And one of the sons of Ahimelech the son of Ahitub, named Abiathar, escaped, and fled after David.
22:21 사울이 여호와의 제사장들 죽인 일을 다윗에게 고하매
22:21 And gave him the news of how Saul had put to death the Lord's priests.
22:21 And Abiathar showed David that Saul had slain the LORD's priests.
22:22 다윗이 아비아달에게 이르되 그 날에 에돔 사람 도엑이 거기 있기로 그가
반드시 사울에게 고할 줄 내가 알았노라 네 아비 집의 모든 사람 죽은 것이 나의
연고로다
22:22 And David said to Abiathar, I was certain that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there,
that he would take the news to Saul: I am responsible for the lives of all your
father's family.
22:22 And David said unto Abiathar, I knew it that day, when Doeg the Edomite was there, that he would surely tell Saul: I have occasioned the death of all the persons of your father's house.
22:23 두려워 말고 내게 있으라 내 생명을 찾는 자가 네 생명도 찾는 자니 네가
나와 함께 있으면 보전하리라 하니라
22:23 Keep here with me and have no fear; for he who has designs on my life has designs
on yours: but with me you will be safe.
22:23 Abide you with me, fear not: for he that seeks my life seeks your life: but with me you shall be in safeguard.
23:1 혹이 다윗에게 고하여 가로되 보소서 블레셋 사람이 그일라를 쳐서 그 타작
마당을 탈취하더이다
23:1 And they sent word to David, saying, The Philistines are fighting against Keilah
and taking the grain from the grain-floors.
23:1 Then they told David, saying, Behold, the Philistines fight against Keilah, and they rob the threshing floors.
23:2 이에 다윗이 여호와께 묻자와 가로되 내가 가서 이 블레셋 사람을 치리이까
여호와께서 다윗에게 이르시되 가서 블레셋 사람을 치고 그일라를 구원하라 하시니
23:2 So David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go and make an attack on these Philistines?
And the Lord said to David, Go and make an attack on the Philistines so that Keilah
may be kept from falling into their hands.
23:2 Therefore David enquired of the LORD, saying, Shall I go and strike these Philistines? And the LORD said unto David, Go, and strike the Philistines, and save Keilah.
23:3 다윗의 사람들이 그에게 이르되 보소서 우리가 유다에 있기도 두렵거든 하물며
그일라에 가서 블레셋 사람의 군대를 치는 일이리이까
23:3 And David's men said to him, Even here in Judah we are full of fear: how much more
then if we go to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
23:3 And David's men said unto him, Behold, we be afraid here in Judah: how much more then if we come to Keilah against the armies of the Philistines?
23:4 다윗이 여호와께 다시 묻자온대 여호와께서 대답하여 가라사대 일어나 그일라로
내려가라 내가 블레셋 사람을 네 손에 붙이리라 하신지라
23:4 Then David put the question to the Lord again, and the Lord answering said, Up!
go down to Keilah; for I will give the Philistines into your hands.
23:4 Then David enquired of the LORD yet again. And the LORD answered him and said, Arise, go down to Keilah; for I will deliver the Philistines into yours hand.
23:5 다윗과 그의 사람들이 그일라로 가서 블레셋 사람과 싸워 그들을 크게 도륙하고
그들의 가축을 끌어오니라 다윗이 이와 같이 그일라 거민을 구원하니라
23:5 So David and his men went to Keilah, and had a fight with the Philistines, and took
away their cattle, and put them to the sword with great destruction. So David was
the saviour of the people of Keilah.
23:5 So David and his men went to Keilah, and fought with the Philistines, and brought away their cattle, and stroke them with a great slaughter. So David saved the inhabitants of Keilah.
23:6 ○ 아히멜렉의 아들 아비아달이 그일라 다윗에게로 도망할 때에 손에 에봇을
가지고 내려왔었더라
23:6 Now when Abiathar, the son of Ahimelech, went in flight to David, he came down to
Keilah with the ephod in his hand.
23:6 And it came to pass, when Abiathar the son of Ahimelech fled to David to Keilah, that he came down with an ephod in his hand.
23:7 다윗이 그일라에 온 것을 혹이 사울에게 고하매 사울이 가로되 하나님이
그를 내 손에 붙이셨도다 그가 문과 문빗장이 있는 성에 들어갔으니 갇혔도다
23:7 And news was given to Saul that David had come to Keilah. And Saul said, Now God
has given him into my hands; for by going into a walled town with locked doors,
he has let himself be shut in.
23:7 And it was told Saul that David was come to Keilah. And Saul said, God has delivered him into mine hand; for he is shut in, by entering into a town that has gates and bars.
23:8 사울이 모든 백성을 군사로 불러 모으고 그일라로 내려가서 다윗과 그의
사람들을 에워싸려 하더니
23:8 And Saul sent for all the people to come to the fight, and go down to Keilah to
make an attack on David and his men.
23:8 And Saul called all the people together to war, to go down to Keilah, to besiege David and his men.
23:9 다윗이 사울의 자기를 해하려 하는 계교를 알고 제사장 아비아달에게 이르되
에봇을 이리로 가져오라 하고
23:9 And it was clear to David that Saul had evil designs against him, and he said to
Abiathar the priest, Come here with the ephod.
23:9 And David knew that Saul secretly practised mischief against him; and he said to Abiathar the priest, Bring here the ephod.
23:10 다윗이 가로되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 사울이 나의 연고로 이 성을 멸하려고
그일라로 내려오기를 꾀한다 함을 주의 종이 분명히 들었나이다
23:10 Then David said, O Lord, the God of Israel, news has been given to your servant
that it is Saul's purpose to come to Keilah and send destruction on the town because
of me.
23:10 Then said David, O LORD God of Israel, your servant has certainly heard that Saul seeks to come to Keilah, to destroy the city for my sake.
23:11 그일라 사람들이 나를 그의 손에 붙이겠나이까 주의 종의 들은 대로 사울이
내려오겠나이까 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와여 원컨대 주의 종에게 일러 주옵소서
여호와께서 가라사대 그가 내려오리라
23:11 And now, is it true, as they have said to me, that Saul is coming? O Lord, the God
of Israel, give ear to your servant, and say if these things are so. And the Lord
said, He is coming down.
23:11 Will the men of Keilah deliver me up into his hand? will Saul come down, as your servant has heard? O LORD God of Israel, I plead to you, tell your servant. And the LORD said, He will come down.
23:12 다윗이 가로되 그일라 사람들이 나와 내 사람들을 사울의 손에 붙이겠나이까
여호와께서 가라사대 그들이 너를 붙이리라
23:12 Then David said, Will the men of Keilah give me and my men up to Saul? and the Lord
said, They will give you up.
23:12 Then said David, Will the men of Keilah deliver me and my men into the hand of Saul? And the LORD said, They will deliver you up.
23:13 다윗과 그의 사람 육백 명 가량이 일어나 그일라를 떠나서 갈 수 있는 곳으로
갔더니 다윗이 그일라에서 피한 것을 혹이 사울에게 고하매 사울이 가기를 그치니라
23:13 Then David and his men, about six hundred of them, went out of Keilah, and got away
wherever they were able to go. And Saul, hearing that David had got away from Keilah,
did not go there.
23:13 Then David and his men, which were about six hundred, arose and departed out of Keilah, and went anywhere they could go. And it was told Saul that David was escaped from Keilah; and he ceased to go forth.
23:14 다윗이 황무지 요새에도 있었고 또 십 황무지 산골에도 유하였으므로 사울이
매일 찾되 하나님이 그를 그의 손에 붙이지 아니하시니라
23:14 And David kept in the waste land, in safe places, waiting in the hill-country in
the waste land of Ziph. And Saul was searching for him every day, but God did not
give him up into his hands.
23:14 And David abode in the wilderness in strong holds, and remained in a mountain in the wilderness of Ziph. And Saul sought him every day, but God delivered him not into his hand.
23:15 다윗이 사울의 자기 생명을 찾으려고 나온 것을 보았으므로 그가 십 황무지
수풀에 있었더니
23:15 And David was full of fear, in the knowledge that Saul had come out to take his
life; and David was in the waste land of Ziph, in Horesh.
23:15 And David saw that Saul was come out to seek his life: and David was in the wilderness of Ziph in a wood.
23:16 사울의 아들 요나단이 일어나 수풀에 들어가서 다윗에게 이르러 그로 하나님을
힘 있게 의지하게 하였는데
23:16 And Saul's son Jonathan went to David in Horesh, and made his hands strong in God;
23:16 And Jonathan Saul's son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.
23:17 곧 요나단이 그에게 이르기를 두려워 말라 내 부친 사울의 손이 네게 미치지
못할 것이요 너는 이스라엘 왕이 되고 나는 네 다음이 될 것을 내 부친 사울도 안다
하니라
23:17 And said to him, Have no fear, for Saul my father will not get you into his power;
and you will be king of Israel, and I will be by your side, and my father Saul is
certain of this.
23:17 And he said unto him, Fear not: for the hand of Saul my father shall not find you; and you shall be king over Israel, and I shall be next unto you; and that also Saul my father knows.
23:18 두 사람이 여호와 앞에서 언약하고 다윗은 수풀에 거하고 요나단은 자기
집으로 돌아가니라
23:18 And the two of them made an agreement before the Lord: and David went on living
in Horesh, and Jonathan went back to his house.
23:18 And they two made a covenant before the LORD: and David abode in the wood, and Jonathan went to his house.
23:19 ○ 때에 십 사람들이 기브아에 이르러 사울에게 나아와 가로되 다윗이 우리와
함께 광야 남편 하길라 산 수풀 요새에 숨지 아니하였나이까
23:19 Then the Ziphites came up to Gibeah to see Saul, and said, Is not David living secretly
among us in the strong places in Horesh, in the hill of Hachilah to the south of
the waste land?
23:19 Then came up the Ziphites to Saul to Gibeah, saying, Does not David hide himself with us in strong holds in the wood, in the hill of Hachilah, which is on the south of Jeshimon?
23:20 그러하온즉 왕은 내려오시기를 원하시는 대로 내려오소서 그를 왕의 손에
붙일 것이 우리의 의무늬이다
23:20 So now, O king, have your soul's desire and come down, and we, for our part, will
give him up into the king's hands.
23:20 Now therefore, O king, come down according to all the desire of your soul to come down; and our part shall be to deliver him into the king's hand.
23:21 사울이 가로되 너희가 나를 긍휼히 여겼으니 여호와께 복 받기를 원하노라
23:21 And Saul said, The Lord's blessing will be yours, for you have had pity on me.
23:21 And Saul said, Blessed be all of you of the LORD; for all of you have compassion on me.
23:22 혹이 내게 말하기를 그가 심히 공교히 행동한다 하나니 너희는 가서 더
자세히 살펴서 그가 어디 은적하였으며 누가 거기서 그를 보았는지 알아보고
23:22 Go now, and take more steps, and see where he is living: for they say that he is
expert in deceit.
23:22 Go, I pray you, prepare yet, and know and see his place where his haunt is, and who has seen him there: for it is told me that he deals very subtlely.
23:23 그가 숨어 있는 모든 곳을 탐지하고 실상을 내게 회보하라 내가 너희와
함께 가리니 그가 이 땅에 있으면 유다 천천 인 중에서 그를 찾아내리라
23:23 So take care to get knowledge of all the secret places where he is taking cover,
and be certain to come back to me, and I will go with you: and without doubt, if
he is anywhere in the land, I will get him, among all the families of Judah.
23:23 See therefore, and take knowledge of all the lurking places where he hides himself, and come all of you again to me with the certainty, and I will go with you: and it shall come to pass, if he be in the land, that I will search him out throughout all the thousands of Judah.
23:24 ○ 그들이 일어나 사울보다 먼저 십으로 가니라 다윗과 그의 사람들이 광야
남편 마온 황무지 아라바에 있더니
23:24 And they went back and came to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the
waste land of Maon, in the dry land south of the waste land.
23:24 And they arose, and went to Ziph before Saul: but David and his men were in the wilderness of Maon, in the plain on the south of Jeshimon.
23:25 사울과 그의 사람들이 찾으러 온 것을 혹이 다윗에게 고하매 이에 다윗이
바위로 내려 마온 황무지에 있더니 사울이 듣고 마온 황무지로 다윗을 따라가서는
23:25 And Saul and his men went in search of him. And David had word of it, so he came
down to the rock in the waste land of Maon. And Saul, hearing of this, went after
David into the waste land of Maon.
23:25 Saul also and his men went to seek him. And they told David; wherefore he came down into a rock, and abode in the wilderness of Maon. And when Saul heard that, he pursued after David in the wilderness of Maon.
23:26 사울이 산 이편으로 가매 다윗과 그의 사람들은 산 저편으로 가며 다윗이
사울을 두려워하여 급히 피하려 하였으니 이는 사울과 그의 사람들이 다윗과 그의
사람들을 에워싸고 잡으려 함이었더라
23:26 And Saul and his men went on one side of the mountain, and David and his men went
on the other: and David's purpose was to get away as quickly as possible, for fear
of Saul; for Saul and his men were making a circle round David and his men in order
to take them.
23:26 And Saul went on this side of the mountain, and David and his men on that side of the mountain: and David made haste to get away for fear of Saul; for Saul and his men compassed David and his men round about to take them.
23:27 사자가 사울에게 와서 가로되 급히 오소서 블레셋 사람이 땅을 침노하나이다
23:27 But a man came to Saul saying, Be quick and come; for the Philistines have made
an attack on the land.
23:27 But there came a messenger unto Saul, saying, Haste you, and come; for the Philistines have invaded the land.
23:28 이에 사울이 다윗 쫓기를 그치고 돌아와서 블레셋 사람을 치러 갔으므로
그 곳을 셀라하마느곳이라 칭하니라
23:28 So turning back from going after David, Saul went against the Philistines: so that
place was named Sela-hammah-lekoth.
23:28 Wherefore Saul returned from pursuing after David, and went against the Philistines: therefore they called that place Selahammahlekoth.
23:29 다윗이 거기서 올라가서 엔게디 요새에 거하니라
23:29 And from there, David went up and took cover in the safe place of En-gedi.
23:29 And David went up from thence, and dwelt in strong holds at Engedi.
24:1 사울이 블레셋 사람을 따르다가 돌아오매 혹이 그에게 고하여 가로되 보소서
다윗이 엔게디 황무지에 있더이다
24:1 Now when Saul came back from fighting the Philistines, news was given him that David
was in the waste land of En-gedi.
24:1 And it came to pass, when Saul was returned from following the Philistines, that it was told him, saying, Behold, David is in the wilderness of Engedi.
24:2 사울이 온 이스라엘에서 택한 사람 삼천을 거느리고 다윗과 그의 사람들을
찾으러 들염소 바위로 갈새
24:2 Then Saul took three thousand of the best men out of all Israel, and went in search
of David and his men on the rocks of the mountain goats.
24:2 Then Saul took three thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and went to seek David and his men upon the rocks of the wild goats.
24:3 길 가 양의 우리에 이른즉 굴이 있는지라 사울이 그 발을 가리우러 들어가니라
다윗과 그의 사람들이 그 굴 깊은 곳에 있더니
24:3 And on the way he came to a place where sheep were kept, where there was a hollow
in the rock; and Saul went in for a private purpose. Now David and his men were
in the deepest part of the hollow.
24:3 And he came to the sheepcotes by the way, where was a cave; and Saul went in to cover his feet: and David and his men remained in the sides of the cave.
24:4 다윗의 사람들이 가로되 보소서 여호와께서 당신에게 이르시기를 내가 원수를
네 손에 붙이리니 네 소견에 선한 대로 그에게 행하라 하시더니 이것이 그 날이니이다
다윗이 일어나서 사울의 겉옷 자락을 가만히 베니라
24:4 And David's men said to him, Now is the time when the Lord says to you, I will give
up your hater into your hands to do with him whatever seems good to you. Then David,
getting up, took the skirt of Saul's robe in his hand, cutting off the end of it
without his knowledge.
24:4 And the men of David said unto him, Behold the day of which the LORD said unto you, Behold, I will deliver yours enemy into yours hand, that you may do to him as it shall seem good unto you. Then David arose, and cut off the skirt of Saul's robe privately.
24:5 그리한 후에 사울의 옷자락 벰을 인하여 다윗의 마음이 찔려
24:5 And later, David was full of regret for cutting off Saul's skirt.
24:5 And it came to pass afterward, that David's heart stroke him, because he had cut off Saul's skirt.
24:6 자기 사람들에게 이르되 내가 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 내 주를
치는 것은 여호와의 금하시는 것이니 그는 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 자가 됨이니라
하고
24:6 And David said to his men, Before the Lord, never let it be said that my hand was
lifted up against my lord, the man of the Lord's selection, for the Lord's holy
oil has been put on him.
24:6 And he said unto his men, The LORD forbid that I should do this thing unto my master, the LORD's anointed, to stretch forth mine hand against him, seeing he is the anointed of the LORD.
24:7 다윗이 이 말로 자기 사람들을 금하여 사울을 해하지 못하게 하니라 사울이
일어나 굴에서 나가 자기 길을 가니라
24:7 So with these words David kept his servants back, and did not let them make an attack
on Saul. And Saul got up and went on his way.
24:7 So David stayed his servants with these words, and suffered them not to rise against Saul. But Saul rose up out of the cave, and went on his way.
24:8 ○ 그 후에 다윗도 일어나 굴에서 나가 사울의 뒤에서 외쳐 가로되 내 주
왕이여 하매 사울이 돌아보는지라 다윗이 땅에 엎드려 절하고
24:8 And after that David came out of the hollow rock, and crying after Saul said, My
lord the king. And when Saul gave a look back, David went down on his face and gave
him honour.
24:8 David also arose afterward, and went out of the cave, and cried after Saul, saying, My lord the king. And when Saul looked behind him, David stooped with his face to the earth, and bowed himself.
24:9 사울에게 이르되 다윗이 왕을 해하려 한다고 하는 사람들의 말을 왕은 어찌하여
들으시나이까
24:9 And David said to Saul, Why do you give any attention to those who say that it is
my desire to do you wrong?
24:9 And David said to Saul, Wherefore hear you men's words, saying, Behold, David seeks your hurt?
24:10 오늘 여호와께서 굴에서 왕을 내 손에 붙이신 것을 왕이 아셨을 것이니이다
혹이 나를 권하여 왕을 죽이라 하였으나 내가 왕을 아껴 말하기를 나는 내 손을 들어
내 주를 해치 아니하리니 그는 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 자가 됨이니라 하였나이다
24:10 Look! you have seen today how the Lord gave you up into my hands even now in the
hollow of the rocks: and some would have had me put you to death, but I had pity
on you: for I said, Never will my hand be lifted up against my lord, who has been
marked with the holy oil.
24:10 Behold, this day yours eyes have seen how that the LORD had delivered you to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill you: but mine eye spared you; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is the LORD's anointed.
24:11 나의 아버지여 보소서 내 손에 있는 왕의 옷자락을 보소서 내가 왕을 죽이지
아니하고 겉옷 자락만 베었은즉 나의 손에 악이나 죄과가 없는 줄을 아실지니이다
왕은 내 생명을 찾아 해하려 하시나 나는 왕에게 범죄한 일이 없나이다
24:11 And see, my father, see the skirt of your robe in my hand: for the fact that I took
off the skirt of your robe and did not put you to death is witness that I have no
evil purpose, and I have done you no wrong, though you are waiting for my life to
take it.
24:11 Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of your robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of your robe, and killed you not, know you and see that there is neither evil nor transgression in mine hand, and I have not sinned against you; yet you hunt my soul to take it.
24:12 여호와께서는 나와 왕 사이를 판단하사 나를 위하여 왕에게 보복하시려니와
내 손으로는 왕을 해하지 않겠나이다
24:12 May the Lord be judge between me and you, and may the Lord give me my rights against
you, but my hand will never be lifted up against you.
24:12 The LORD judge between me and you, and the LORD avenge me of you: but mine hand shall not be upon you.
24:13 옛 속담에 말하기를 악은 악인에게서 난다 하였으니 내 손이 왕을 해하지
아니하리이다
24:13 There is an old saying, From the evil-doer comes evil: but my hand will never be
lifted up against you.
24:13 As says the proverb of the ancients, Wickedness proceeds from the wicked: but mine hand shall not be upon you.
24:14 이스라엘 왕이 누구를 따라 나왔으며 누구를 쫓나이까 죽은 개나 벼룩을
쫓음이니이다
24:14 After whom has the king of Israel come out? for whom are you searching? for a dead
dog, an insect.
24:14 After whom is the king of Israel come out? after whom do you pursue? after a dead dog, after a flea.
24:15 그런즉 여호와께서 재판장이 되어 나와 왕 사이에 판결하사 나의 사정을
살펴 신원하시고 나를 왕의 손에서 건지시기를 원하나이다
24:15 So let the Lord be judge, and give a decision between me and you, and see and give
support to my cause, and keep me from falling into your hands.
24:15 The LORD therefore be judge, and judge between me and you, and see, and plead my cause, and deliver me out of yours hand.
24:16 ○ 다윗이 사울에게 이같이 말하기를 마치매 사울이 가로되 내 아들 다윗아
이것이 네 목소리냐 하고 소리를 높여 울며
24:16 Now when David had said these words to Saul, Saul said, Is this your voice, David,
my son? And Saul was overcome with weeping.
24:16 And it came to pass, when David had made an end of speaking these words unto Saul, that Saul said, Is this your voice, my son David? And Saul lifted up his voice, and wept.
24:17 다윗에게 이르되 나는 너를 학대하되 너는 나를 선대하니 너는 나보다 의롭도다
24:17 And he said to David, You are right and I am wrong: for you have given me back good,
but I have given you evil.
24:17 And he said to David, You are more righteous than I: for you have rewarded me good, whereas I have rewarded you evil.
24:18 네가 나 선대한 것을 오늘 나타내었나니 여호와께서 나를 네 손에 붙이셨으나
네가 나를 죽이지 아니하였도다
24:18 And you have made clear to me how good you have been to me today: because, when
the Lord gave me up into your hands, you did not put me to death.
24:18 And you have showed this day how that you have dealt well with me: forasmuch as when the LORD had delivered me into yours hand, you killed me not.
24:19 사람이 그 원수를 만나면 그를 평안히 가게 하겠느냐 네가 오늘날 내게
행한 일을 인하여 여호와께서 네게 선으로 갚으시기를 원하노라
24:19 If a man comes across his hater, will he let him get away safe? so may you be rewarded
by the Lord for what you have done for me today.
24:19 For if a man find his enemy, will he let him go well away? wherefore the LORD reward you good for that you have done unto me this day.
24:20 보라 나는 네가 반드시 왕이 될 것을 알고 이스라엘 나라가 네 손에 견고히
설 것을 아노니
24:20 And now I am certain that you will be king, and that the kingdom of Israel will
be made strong under your authority.
24:20 And now, behold, I know well that you shall surely be king, and that the kingdom of Israel shall be established in yours hand.
24:21 그런즉 너는 내 후손을 끊지 아니하며 내 아비의 집에서 내 이름을 멸하지
아니할 것을 이제 여호와로 내게 맹세하라
24:21 So give me your oath by the Lord, that you will not put an end to my seed after
me or let my name be cut off from my father's family.
24:21 Swear now therefore unto me by the LORD, that you will not cut off my seed after me, and that you will not destroy my name out of my father's house.
24:22 다윗이 사울에게 맹세하매 사울은 집으로 돌아가고 다윗과 그의 사람들은
요새로 올라가니라
24:22 And David gave Saul his oath. And Saul went back to his house; but David and his
men went up to their safe place.
24:22 And David swore unto Saul. And Saul went home; but David and his men got them up unto the hold.
25:1 사무엘이 죽으매 온 이스라엘 무리가 모여 그를 애곡하며 라마 그의 집에서
그를 장사한지라 다윗이 일어나 바란 광야로 내려가니라
25:1 And death came to Samuel; and all Israel came together, weeping for him, and put
his body in its resting-place in his house at Ramah. Then David went down to the
waste land of Maon.
25:1 And Samuel died; and all the Israelites were gathered together, and lamented him, and buried him in his house at Ramah. And David arose, and went down to the wilderness of Paran.
25:2 ○ 마온에 한 사람이 있는데 그 업이 갈멜에 있고 심히 부하여 양이 삼천이요
염소가 일천이므로 그가 갈멜에서 그 양 털을 깎고 있었으니
25:2 Now there was a man in Maon whose business was in Carmel; he was a great man and
had three thousand sheep and a thousand goats: and he was cutting the wool of his
sheep in Carmel.
25:2 And there was a man in Maon, whose possessions were in Carmel; and the man was very great, and he had three thousand sheep, and a thousand goats: and he was shearing his sheep in Carmel.
25:3 그 사람의 이름은 나발이요 그 아내의 이름은 아비가일이라 그 여자는 총명하고
용모가 아름다우나 남자는 완고하고 행사가 악하며 그는 갈멜 족속이었더라
25:3 Now this man was named Nabal, and his wife's name was Abigail: she was a woman of
good sense and pleasing looks: but the man was cruel and evil in his ways; he was
of the family of Caleb.
25:3 Now the name of the man was Nabal; and the name of his wife Abigail: and she was a woman of good understanding, and of a beautiful countenance: but the man was rude and evil in his doings; and he was of the house of Caleb.
25:4 다윗이 광야에 있어서 나발이 자기 양 털을 깎는다 함을 들은지라
25:4 And David had word in the waste land that Nabal was cutting the wool of his sheep.
25:4 And David heard in the wilderness that Nabal did shear his sheep.
25:5 다윗이 이에 열 소년을 보내며 그 소년들에게 이르되 너희는 갈멜로 올라가
나발에게 이르러 내 이름으로 그에게 문안하고
25:5 And David sent ten young men, and said to them, Go up to Carmel and go to Nabal,
and say kind words to him in my name;
25:5 And David sent out ten young men, and David said unto the young men, Get you up to Carmel, and go to Nabal, and greet him in my name:
25:6 이같이 그 부하게 사는 자에게 이르기를 너는 평강하라 네 집도 평강하라
네 소유의 모든 것도 평강하라
25:6 And say this to my brother, May all be well for you: peace be to you and your house
and all you have.
25:6 And thus shall all of you say to him that lives in prosperity, Peace be both to you, and peace be to yours house, and peace be unto all that you have.
25:7 네게 앙털 깎는 자들이 있다 함을 이제 내가 들었노라 네 목자들이 우리와
함께 있었으나 우리가 그들을 상치 아니하였고 그들이 갈멜에 있는 동안에 그들의
것을 하나도 잃지 아니하였나니
25:7 I have had word that you have wool-cutters: now the keepers of your sheep have been
with us, and we have done them no evil, and taken nothing of theirs while they were
in Carmel.
25:7 And now I have heard that you have shearers: now your shepherds which were with us, we hurt them not, neither was there ought missing unto them, all the while they were in Carmel.
25:8 네 소년들에게 물으면 그들이 네게 고하리라 그런즉 내 소년들로 네게 은혜를
얻게 하라 우리가 좋은 날에 왔은즉 네 손에 있는 대로 네 종들과 네 아들 다윗에게
주기를 원하노라 하더라 하라
25:8 If your young men are questioned they will say the same thing. So now, let my young
men have grace in your eyes, for we are come at a good time; please give anything
you may have by you to your servants and to your son David.
25:8 Ask your young men, and they will show you. Wherefore let the young men find favour in yours eyes: for we come in a good day: give, I pray you, whatsoever comes to yours hand unto your servants, and to your son David.
25:9 ○ 다윗의 소년들이 가서 다윗의 이름으로 이 모든 말을 나발에게 고하기를
마치매
25:9 And when David's young men came, they said all this to Nabal, in David's name, and
said nothing more.
25:9 And when David's young men came, they spoke to Nabal according to all those words in the name of David, and ceased.
25:10 나발이 다윗의 사환들에게 대답하여 가로되 다윗은 누구며 이새의 아들은
누구뇨 근일에 각기 주인에게서 억지로 떠나는 종이 많도다
25:10 And Nabal gave them his answer and said, Who is David? who is the son of Jesse?
there are a number of servants in these days running away from their masters.
25:10 And Nabal answered David's servants, and said, Who is David? and who is the son of Jesse? there be many servants these days that break away every man from his master.
25:11 내가 어찌 내 떡과 물과 내 양 털 깎는 자를 위하여 잡은 고기를 가져 어디로서인지
알지도 못하는 자들에게 주겠느냐 한지라
25:11 Am I to take my bread and my wine and the meat I have got ready for my wool-cutters
and give it to men coming from I have no idea where?
25:11 Shall I then take my bread, and my water, and my flesh that I have killed for my shearers, and give it unto men, whom I know not whence they be?
25:12 이에 다윗의 소년들이 돌이켜 자기 길로 행하여 돌아와서 이 모든 말로
그에게 고하매
25:12 So David's young men, turning away, went back and gave him an account of everything
he had said.
25:12 So David's young men turned their way, and went again, and came and told him all those sayings.
25:13 다윗이 자기 사람들에게 이르되 너희는 각기 칼을 차라 각기 칼을 차매
다윗도 자기 칼을 차고 사백 명 가량은 데리고 올라가고 이백 명은 소유물 곁에 있게
하니라
25:13 And David said to his men, Put on your swords, every one of you. And every man put
on his sword; and David did the same; and about four hundred men went up with David,
and two hundred kept watch over their goods.
25:13 And David said unto his men, Gird all of you on every man his sword. And they girded on every man his sword; and David also girded on his sword: and there went up after David about four hundred men; and two hundred abode by the stuff.
25:14 ○ 소년 중 하나가 나발의 아내 아비가일에게 고하여 가로되 다윗이 우리
주인에게 문안하러 광야에서 사자들을 보내었거늘 주인이 그들을 수욕하였나이다
25:14 But one of the young men said to Nabal's wife Abigail, David sent men from the waste
land to say kind words to our master, and he gave them a rough answer.
25:14 But one of the young men told Abigail, Nabal's wife, saying, Behold, David sent messengers out of the wilderness to salute our master; and he railed on them.
25:15 우리가 들에 있어 그들과 상종할 동안에 그 사람들이 우리를 매우 선대하였으므로
우리가 상하거나 잃은 것이 없었으니
25:15 But these men have been very good to us; they did us no wrong and nothing of ours
was touched while we were with them in the fields:
25:15 But the men were very good unto us, and we were not hurt, neither missed we any thing, as long as we were conversant with them, when we were in the fields:
25:16 우리가 양을 지키는 동안에 그들이 우리와 함께 있어 밤낮 우리에게 담이
되었음이라
25:16 But day and night they were like a wall round us while we were with them, looking
after the sheep.
25:16 They were a wall unto us both by night and day, all the while we were with them keeping the sheep.
25:17 그런즉 이제 당신은 어떻게 할 것을 알아 생각하실지니 이는 다윗이 우리
주인과 주인의 온 집을 해하기로 결정하였음이니이다 주인은 불량한 사람이라 더불어
말할 수 없나이다
25:17 So now, give thought to what you are going to do; for evil is in store for our master
and all his house: for he is such a good-for-nothing person that it is not possible
to say anything to him.
25:17 Now therefore know and consider what you will do; for evil is determined against our master, and against all his household: for he is such a son of Belial, that a man cannot speak to him.
25:18 ○ 아비가일이 급히 떡 이백 덩이와 포도주 두 가죽 부대와 잡아 준비한
양 다섯과 볶은 곡식 다섯 세아와 건포도 백 송이와 무화과 뭉치 이백을 취하여 나귀들에게
싣고
25:18 Then Abigail quickly took two hundred cakes of bread and two skins full of wine
and five sheep ready for cooking and five measures of dry grain and a hundred parcels
of dry grapes and two hundred cakes of figs, and put them on asses.
25:18 Then Abigail made haste, and took two hundred loaves, and two bottles of wine, and five sheep ready dressed, and five measures of parched corn, and an hundred clusters of raisins, and two hundred cakes of figs, and laid them on asses.
25:19 소년들에게 이르되 내 앞서 가라 나는 너희 뒤에 가리라 하고 그 남편 나발에게는
고하지 아니하니라
25:19 And she said to her young men, Go on in front of me and I will come after you. But
she said nothing to her husband Nabal.
25:19 And she said unto her servants, Go on before me; behold, I come after you. But she told not her husband Nabal.
25:20 아비가일이 나귀를 타고 산 유벽한 곳으로 좇아 내려가더니 다윗과 그의
사람들이 자기에게로 마주 내려오는 것을 만나니라
25:20 Now while she was going down under cover of the mountain on her ass, David and his
men came down against her, and suddenly she came face to face with them.
25:20 And it was so, as she rode on the ass, that she came down by the covert on the hill, and, behold, David and his men came down against her; and she met them.
25:21 다윗이 이미 말하기를 내가 이 자의 소유물을 광야에서 지켜 그 모든 것을
하나도 손실이 없게 한 것이 진실로 허사라 그가 악으로 나의 선을 갚는도다
25:21 Now David had said, What was the use of my taking care of this man's goods in the
waste land, so that there was no loss of anything which was his? he has only given
me back evil for good.
25:21 Now David had said, Surely in vain have I kept all that this fellow has in the wilderness, so that nothing was missed of all that pertained unto him: and he has requited me evil for good.
25:22 내가 그에게 속한 모든 것 중 한 남자라도 아침까지 남겨 두면 하나님은
다윗에게 벌을 내리시고 또 내리시기를 원하노라 하였더라
25:22 May God's punishment be on David, if when morning comes there is so much as one
male of his people still living.
25:22 So and more also do God unto the enemies of David, if I leave of all that pertain to him by the morning light any that pisses against the wall.
25:23 ○ 아비가일이 다윗을 보고 급히 나귀에서 내려 다윗의 앞에 엎드려 그
얼굴을 땅에 대니라
25:23 And when Abigail saw David, she quickly got off her ass, falling down on her face
before him.
25:23 And when Abigail saw David, she hasted, and lighted off the ass, and fell before David on her face, and bowed herself to the ground,
25:24 그가 다윗의 발에 엎드려 가로되 내 주여 청컨대 이 죄악을 나 곧 내게로
돌리시고 여종으로 주의 귀에 말하게 하시고 이 여종의 말을 들으소서
25:24 And falling at his feet she said, May the wrong be on me, my lord, on me: let your
servant say a word to you, and give ear to the words of your servant.
25:24 And fell at his feet, and said, Upon me, my lord, upon me let this iniquity be: and let yours handmaid, I pray you, speak in yours audience, and hear the words of yours handmaid.
25:25 원하옵나니 내 주는 이 불량한 사람 나발을 개의치 마옵소서 그 이름이
그에게 적당하니 그 이름이 나발이라 그는 미련한 자니이다 여종은 내 주의 보내신
소년들을 보지 못하였나이다
25:25 Let my lord give no attention to Nabal, that good-for-nothing: for as his name is,
so is he, a man without sense: but I, your servant, did not see the young men whom
my lord sent.
25:25 Let not my lord, I pray you, regard this man of Belial, even Nabal: for as his name is, so is he; Nabal is his name, and folly is with him: but I yours handmaid saw not the young men of my lord, whom you did send.
25:26 내 주여 여호와께서 사시고 내 주도 살아계시거니와 내 주의 손으로 피를
흘려 친히 보수하시는 일을 여호와께서 막으셨으니 내 주의 원수들과 내 주를 해하려
하는 자들은 나발과 같이 되기를 원하나이다
25:26 So now, my lord, by the living God and by your living soul, seeing that the Lord
has kept you from the crime of blood and from taking into your hands the punishment
for your wrongs, may all your haters, and those who would do evil to my lord, be
like Nabal.
25:26 Now therefore, my lord, as the LORD lives, and as your soul lives, seeing the LORD has withheld you from coming to shed blood, and from avenging yourself with yours own hand, now let yours enemies, and they that seek evil to my lord, be as Nabal.
25:27 여종이 내 주에게 가져온 이 예물로 내 주를 좇는 이 소년들에게 주게
하시고
25:27 And let this offering, which your servant gives to my lord, be given to the young
men who are with my lord.
25:27 And now this blessing which yours handmaid has brought unto my lord, let it even be given unto the young men that follow my lord.
25:28 주의 여종의 허물을 사하여 주옵소서 여호와께서 반드시 내 주를 위하여
든든한 집을 세우시리니 이는 내 주께서 여호와의 싸움을 싸우심이요 내 주의 일생에
내 주에게서 악한 일을 찾을 수 없음이니이다
25:28 And may the sin of your servant have forgiveness: for the Lord will certainly make
your family strong, because my lord is fighting in the Lord's war; and no evil will
be seen in you all your days.
25:28 I pray you, forgive the trespass of yours handmaid: for the LORD will certainly make my lord a sure house; because my lord fights the battles of the LORD, and evil has not been found in you all your days.
25:29 사람이 일어나서 내 주를 쫓아 내 주의 생명을 찾을지라도 내 주의 생명은
내 주의 하나님 여호와와 함께 생명 싸개 속에 싸였을 것이요 내 주의 원수들의 생명은
물매로 던지듯 여호와께서 그것을 던지시리이다
25:29 And though a man has taken up arms against you, putting your life in danger, still
the soul of my lord will be kept safe among the band of the living with the Lord
your God; and the souls of those who are against you he will send violently away
from him, like stones from a bag.
25:29 Yet a man has risen to pursue you, and to seek your soul: but the soul of my lord shall be bound in the bundle of life with the LORD your God; and the souls of yours enemies, them shall he sling out, as out of the middle of a sling.
25:30 여호와께서 내 주에 대하여 하신 말씀대로 모든 선을 내 주에게 행하사
내 주를 이스라엘의 지도자로 세우신 때에
25:30 And when the Lord has done for my lord all those good things which he has said he
will do for you, and has made you a ruler over Israel;
25:30 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD shall have done to my lord according to all the good that he has spoken concerning you, and shall have appointed you ruler over Israel;
25:31 내 주께서 무죄한 피를 흘리셨다든지 내 주께서 친히 보수하셨다든지 함을
인하여 슬퍼하실 것도 없고 내 주의 마음에 걸리는 것도 없으시리니 다만 여호와께서
내 주를 후대하신 때에 원컨대 내 주의 여종을 생각하소서
25:31 Then you will have no cause for grief, and my lord's heart will not be troubled
because you have taken life without cause and have yourself given punishment for
your wrongs: and when the Lord has been good to you, then give a thought to your
servant.
25:31 That this shall be no grief unto you, nor offence of heart unto my lord, either that you have shed blood causeless, or that my lord has avenged himself: but when the LORD shall have dealt well with my lord, then remember yours handmaid.
25:32 ○ 다윗이 아비가일에게 이르되 오늘날 너를 보내어 나를 영접케 하신 이스라엘의
하나님 여호와를 찬송할지로다
25:32 And David said to Abigail, May the Lord, the God of Israel, be praised, who sent
you to me today:
25:32 And David said to Abigail, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, which sent you this day to meet me:
25:33 또 네 지혜를 칭찬할지며 또 네게 복이 있을지로다 오늘날 내가 피를 흘릴
것과 친히 보수하는 것을 네가 막았느니라
25:33 A blessing on your good sense and on you, who have kept me today from the crime
of blood and from taking into my hands the punishment for my wrongs.
25:33 And blessed be your advice, and blessed be you, which have kept me this day from coming to shed blood, and from avenging myself with mine own hand.
25:34 나를 막아 너를 해하지 않게 하신 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와의 사심으로
맹세하노니 네가 급히 와서 나를 영접지 아니하였더면 밝는 아침에는 과연 나발에게
한 남자도 남겨 두지 아니하였으리라
25:34 For truly, by the living Lord, the God of Israel, who has kept me from doing you
evil, if you had not been so quick in coming to me and meeting me, by dawn there
would not have been in Nabal's house so much as one male living.
25:34 For in very deed, as the LORD God of Israel lives, which has kept me back from hurting you, except you had hasted and come to meet me, surely there had not been left unto Nabal by the morning light any that pisses against the wall.
25:35 다윗이 그가 가져온 것을 그의 손에서 받고 그에게 이르되 네 집으로 평안히
올라가라 내가 네 말을 듣고 네 청을 허락하노라
25:35 Then David took from her hands her offering: and he said to her, Go back to your
house in peace; see, I have given ear to your voice, and taken your offering with
respect.
25:35 So David received of her hand that which she had brought him, and said unto her, Go up in peace to yours house; see, I have hearkened to your voice, and have accepted your person.
25:36 ○ 아비가일이 나발에게로 돌아오니 그가 왕의 잔치 같은 잔치를 그 집에
배설하고 대취하여 마음에 기뻐하므로 아비가일이 밝는 아침까지는 다소간 말하지
아니하다가
25:36 And Abigail went back to Nabal; and he was feasting in his house like a king; and
Nabal's heart was full of joy, for he had taken much wine; so she said nothing to
him till dawn came.
25:36 And Abigail came to Nabal; and, behold, he held a feast in his house, like the feast of a king; and Nabal's heart was merry within him, for he was very drunken: wherefore she told him nothing, less or more, until the morning light.
25:37 아침에 나발이 포도주가 깬 후에 그 아내가 그에게 이 일을 고하매 그가
낙담하여 몸이 돌과 같이 되었더니
25:37 And in the morning, when the effect of the wine was gone, Nabal's wife gave him
an account of all these things, and all the heart went out of him, and he became
like stone.
25:37 But it came to pass in the morning, when the wine was gone out of Nabal, and his wife had told him these things, that his heart died within him, and he became as a stone.
25:38 한 열흘 후에 여호와께서 나발을 치시매 그가 죽으니라
25:38 And about ten days after, the Lord sent disease on Nabal and death came to him.
25:38 And it came to pass about ten days after, that the LORD stroke Nabal, that he died.
25:39 ○ 다윗이 나발의 죽었다 함을 듣고 가로되 나발에게 당한 나의 욕을 신설하사
종으로 악한 일을 하지 않게 하신 여호와를 찬송할지로다 여호와께서 나발의 악행을
그 머리에 돌리셨도다 하니라 다윗이 아비가일로 자기 아내를 삼으려고 보내어 그에게
말하게 하매
25:39 And David, hearing that Nabal was dead, said, May the Lord be praised, who has taken
up my cause against Nabal for the shame which he put on me, and has kept back his
servant from evil, and has sent on Nabal's head the reward of his evil-doing. And
David sent word to Abigail, desiring to take her as his wife.
25:39 And when David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, Blessed be the LORD, that has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal, and has kept his servant from evil: for the LORD has returned the wickedness of Nabal upon his own head. And David sent and communed with Abigail, to take her to him to wife.
25:40 다윗의 사환들이 갈멜에 가서 아비가일에게 이르러 그에게 일러 가로되
다윗이 당신을 아내로 삼고자 하여 우리를 당신께 보내더이다
25:40 And when David's servants came to Carmel, to Abigail, they said to her, David has
sent us to you to take you to him as his wife.
25:40 And when the servants of David were come to Abigail to Carmel, they spoke unto her, saying, David sent us unto you, to take you to him to wife.
25:41 그가 일어나 몸을 굽혀 얼굴을 땅에 대고 가로되 내 주의 여종은 내 주의
사환들의 발 씻길 종이니이다 하고
25:41 And she got up, and going down on her face to the earth, said, See, I am ready to
be a servant-girl, washing the feet of the servants of my lord.
25:41 And she arose, and bowed herself on her face to the earth, and said, Behold, let yours handmaid be a servant to wash the feet of the servants of my lord.
25:42 급히 일어나서 나귀를 타고 따르는 처녀 다섯과 함께 다윗의 사자들을 따라가서
다윗의 아내가 되니라
25:42 Then Abigail got up quickly and went on her ass, with five of her young women, after
the men whom David had sent; and she became David's wife.
25:42 And Abigail hasted, and arose and rode upon an ass, with five damsels of hers that went after her; and she went after the messengers of David, and became his wife.
25:43 ○ 다윗이 또 이스르엘 아히노암을 취하였더니 그들 두 사람이 자기 아내가
되니라
25:43 And David had taken Ahinoam of Jezreel, to be his wife; these two were his wives.
25:43 David also took Ahinoam of Jezreel; and they were also both of them his wives.
25:44 사울이 그 딸 다윗의 아내 미갈을 갈림에 사는 라이스의 아들 발디에게
주었더라
25:44 Now Saul had given his daughter Michal, David's wife, to Palti the son of Laish
of Gallim.
25:44 But Saul had given Michal his daughter, David's wife, to Phalti the son of Laish, which was of Gallim.
26:1 십 사람이 기브아에 와서 사울에게 이르러 가로되 다윗이 광야 앞 하길라
산에 숨지 아니하였나이까
26:1 And the Ziphites came to Saul at Gibeah, and said, Is not David waiting secretly
near us in the hill of Hachilah, before the waste land?
26:1 And the Ziphites came unto Saul to Gibeah, saying, Does not David hide himself in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon?
26:2 사울이 일어나 십 황무지에서 다윗을 찾으려고 이스라엘에서 택한 사람 삼천과
함께 십 황무지로 내려가서
26:2 Then Saul went down to the waste land of Ziph, taking with him three thousand of
the best men of Israel, to make search for David in the waste land of Ziph.
26:2 Then Saul arose, and went down to the wilderness of Ziph, having three thousand chosen men of Israel with him, to seek David in the wilderness of Ziph.
26:3 광야 앞 하길라 산 길 가에 진 치니라 다윗이 황무지에 있더니 사울이 자기를
따라 황무지로 들어옴을 깨닫고
26:3 And Saul put up his tents on the hill of Hachilah, which is in front of the waste
land on the road. But David was in the waste land, and he saw that Saul was coming
after him.
26:3 And Saul pitched in the hill of Hachilah, which is before Jeshimon, by the way. But David abode in the wilderness, and he saw that Saul came after him into the wilderness.
26:4 이에 탐정을 보내어 사울이 과연 이른 줄 알고
26:4 And so David sent out watchers, and got word from them that Saul was certainly coming.
26:4 David therefore sent out spies, and understood that Saul was come in very deed.
26:5 일어나 사울의 진 친 곳에 이르러 사울과 넬의 아들 군대장관 아브넬의 유하는
곳을 본즉 사울이 진 가운데 누웠고 백성은 그를 둘러 진 쳤더라
26:5 And David got up and came to the place where Saul's tents were: and David had a
view of the place where Saul was sleeping with Abner, the son of Ner, the captain
of his army: and Saul was sleeping inside the ring of carts, and the tents of the
people were all round him.
26:5 And David arose, and came to the place where Saul had pitched: and David beheld the place where Saul lay, and Abner the son of Ner, the captain of his host: and Saul lay in the trench, and the people pitched round about him.
26:6 ○ 이에 다윗이 헷 사람 아히멜렉과 스루야의 아들 요압의 아우 아비새에게
물어 가로되 누가 나로 더불어 진에 내려가서 사울에게 이르겠느냐 아비새가 가로되
내가 함께 가겠나이다
26:6 Then David said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai, the son of Zeruiah, brother
of Joab, Who will go down with me to the tents of Saul? And Abishai said, I will
go down with you.
26:6 Then answered David and said to Ahimelech the Hittite, and to Abishai the son of Zeruiah, brother to Joab, saying, Who will go down with me to Saul to the camp? And Abishai said, I will go down with you.
26:7 다윗과 아비새가 밤에 그 백성에게 나아가 본즉 사울이 진 가운데 누워 자고
창은 머리 곁 땅에 꽂혔고 아브넬과 백성들은 그를 둘러 누웠는지라
26:7 So David and Abishai came down to the army by night: and Saul was sleeping inside
the ring of carts with his spear planted in the earth by his head: and Abner and
the people were sleeping round him.
26:7 So David and Abishai came to the people by night: and, behold, Saul lay sleeping within the trench, and his spear stuck in the ground at his bolster: but Abner and the people lay round about him.
26:8 아비새가 다윗에게 이르되 하나님이 오늘날 당신의 원수를 당신의 손에 붙이셨나이다
그러므로 청하오니 나로 창으로 그를 찔러서 단번에 땅에 꽂게 하소서 내가 그를
두 번 찌를 것이 없으리이다
26:8 Then Abishai said to David, God has given up your hater into your hands today; now
let me give him one blow through to the earth with his spear, and there will be
no need to give him a second.
26:8 Then said Abishai to David, God has delivered yours enemy into yours hand this day: now therefore let me strike him, I pray you, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not strike him the second time.
26:9 다윗이 아비새에게 이르되 죽이지 말라 누구든지 손을 들어 여호와의 기름
부음을 받은 자를 치면 죄가 없겠느냐
26:9 And David said to Abishai Do not put him to death; for who, without sin, may put
out his hand against the man on whom the Lord has put the holy oil?
26:9 And David said to Abishai, Destroy him not: for who can stretch forth his hand against the LORD's anointed, and be guiltless?
26:10 또 가로되 여호와께서 사시거니와 여호와께서 그를 치시리니 혹 죽을 날이
이르거나 혹 전장에 들어가서 망하리라
26:10 And David said, By the living Lord, the Lord will send destruction on him; the natural
day of his death will come, or he will go into the fight and come to his end.
26:10 David said furthermore, As the LORD lives, the LORD shall strike him; or his day shall come to die; or he shall descend into battle, and perish.
26:11 내가 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 자를 치는 것을 여호와께서
금하시나니 너는 그의 머리 곁에 있는 창과 물병만 가지고 가자 하고
26:11 Never will my hand be stretched out against the man marked with the holy oil; but
take the spear which is by his head and the vessel of water, and let us go.
26:11 The LORD forbid that I should stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed: but, I pray you, take you now the spear that is at his bolster, and the cruse of water, and let us go.
26:12 다윗이 사울의 머리 곁에서 창과 물병을 가지고 떠나가되 깨든지 이를 보든지
알든지 하는 사람이 없었으니 이는 여호와께서 그들로 깊이 잠들게 하셨으므로 그들이
다 잠이었더라
26:12 So David took the spear and the vessel of water from Saul's head; and they got away
without any man seeing them, or being conscious of their coming, or awaking; for
they were all sleeping because a deep sleep from the Lord had come on them.
26:12 So David took the spear and the cruse of water from Saul's bolster; and they got them away, and no man saw it, nor knew it, neither awaked: for they were all asleep; because a deep sleep from the LORD was fallen upon them.
26:13 ○ 이에 다윗이 건너편으로 가서 멀리 산 꼭대기에 서니 상거가 멀더라
26:13 Then David went over to the other side, and took his place on the top of a mountain
some distance away, with a great space between them;
26:13 Then David went over to the other side, and stood on the top of an hill far off; a great space being between them:
26:14 다윗이 백성과 넬의 아들 아브넬을 대하여 외쳐 가로되 아브넬아 너는 대답지
아니하느냐 아브넬이 대답하여 가로되 왕을 부르는 너는 누구냐
26:14 And crying out to the people and to Abner, the son of Ner, David said, Have you
no answer to give, Abner? Then Abner said, Who is that crying out to the king?
26:14 And David cried to the people, and to Abner the son of Ner, saying, Answer you not, Abner? Then Abner answered and said, Who are you that cry to the king?
26:15 다윗이 아브넬에게 이르되 네가 용사가 아니냐 이스라엘 중에 너 같은 자가
누구냐 그러한데 네가 어찌하여 네 주 왕을 보호하지 아니하느냐 백성 중 한 사람이
네 주 왕을 죽이려고 들어갔었느니라
26:15 And David said to Abner, Are you not a man of war? is there any other like you in
Israel? why then have you not kept watch over your lord the king? for one of the
people came in to put the king your lord to death.
26:15 And David said to Abner, Are not you a valiant man? and who is like to you in Israel? wherefore then have you not kept your lord the king? for there came one of the people in to destroy the king your lord.
26:16 네 행한 이 일이 선치 못하도다 여호와께서 사시거니와 여호와의 기름 부음
받은 너희 주를 보호하지 아니하였으니 너희는 마땅히 죽을 자니라 이제 왕의 창과
왕의 머리 곁에 있던 물병이 어디 있나 보라
26:16 What you have done is not good. By the living Lord, death is the right fate for
you, because you have not kept watch over your lord, the man on whom the Lord has
put the holy oil. Now see, where is the king's spear, and the vessel of water which
was by his head?
26:16 This thing is not good that you have done. As the LORD lives, all of you are worthy to die, because all of you have not kept your master, the LORD's anointed. And now see where the king's spear is, and the cruse of water that was at his bolster.
26:17 ○ 사울이 다윗의 음성을 알아 듣고 가로되 내 아들 다윗아 이것이 네 음성이냐
다윗이 가로되 내 주 왕이여 내 음성이니이다
26:17 And Saul, conscious that the voice was David's, said, Is that your voice, David,
my son? And David said, It is my voice, O my lord king.
26:17 And Saul knew David's voice, and said, Is this your voice, my son David? And David said, It is my voice, my lord, O king.
26:18 또 가로되 내 주는 어찌하여 주의 종을 쫓으시나이까 내가 무엇을 하였으며
내 손에 무슨 악이 있나이까
26:18 And he said, Why does my lord go armed against his servant? what have I done? or
what evil is there in me?
26:18 And he said, Wherefore does my lord thus pursue after his servant? for what have I done? or what evil is in mine hand?
26:19 청컨대 내 주 왕은 이제 종의 말을 들으소서 만일 왕을 격동시켜 나를 해하려
하는 이가 여호와시면 여호와께서는 제물을 받으시기를 원하나이다마는 만일 인자들이면
그들이 여호와 앞에 저주를 받으리니 이는 그들이 이르기를 너는 가서 다른 신들을
섬기라 하고 오늘날 나를 쫓아내어 여호와의 기업에 붙지 못하게 함이니이다
26:19 Let my lord the king give ear now to the words of his servant. If it is the Lord
who is moving you against me, let him take an offering: but if it is the children
of men, may they be cursed before the Lord, for driving me out today and keeping
me from my place in the heritage of the Lord, saying, Go, be the servant of other
gods.
26:19 Now therefore, I pray you, let my lord the king hear the words of his servant. If the LORD have stirred you up against me, let him accept an offering: but if they be the children of men, cursed be they before the LORD; for they have driven me out this day from abiding in the inheritance of the LORD, saying, Go, serve other gods.
26:20 그런즉 청컨대 여호와 앞에서 먼 이곳에서 이제 나의 피로 땅에 흐르지
말게 하옵소서 이는 산에서 메추라기를 사냥하는 자와 같이 이스라엘 왕이 한 벼룩을
수색하러 나오셨음이니이다
26:20 Then do not let my blood be drained out on the earth away from the face of the Lord:
for the king of Israel has come out to take my life, like one going after birds
in the mountains.
26:20 Now therefore, let not my blood fall to the earth before the face of the LORD: for the king of Israel has come out to seek a flea, as when one does hunt a partridge in the mountains.
26:21 ○ 사울이 가로되 내가 범죄하였도다 내 아들 다윗아 돌아오라 네가 오늘
내 생명을 귀중히 여겼은즉 내가 다시는 너를 해하려 하지 아니하리라 내가 어리석은
일을 하였으니 대단히 잘못되었도다
26:21 Then Saul said, I have done wrong: come back to me, David my son: I will do you
no more wrong, because my life was dear to you today truly, I have been foolish
and my error is very great.
26:21 Then said Saul, I have sinned: return, my son David: for I will no more do you harm, because my soul was precious in yours eyes this day: behold, I have played the fool, and have erred exceedingly.
26:22 다윗이 대답하여 가로되 왕은 창을 보소서 한 소년을 보내어 가져가게
하소서
26:22 Then David said, Here is the king's spear! let one of the young men come over and
get it.
26:22 And David answered and said, Behold the king's spear! and let one of the young men come over and fetch it.
26:23 여호와께서 각 사람에게 그 의와 신실을 갚으시리니 이는 여호와께서 오늘날
왕을 내 손에 붙이셨으되 나는 손을 들어 여호와의 기름 부음을 받은 자 치기를 원치
아니하였음이니이다
26:23 And the Lord will give to every man the reward of his righteousness and his faith:
because the Lord gave you into my hands today, and I would not put out my hand against
the man who has been marked with the holy oil.
26:23 The LORD render to every man his righteousness and his faithfulness; for the LORD delivered you into my hand to day, but I would not stretch forth mine hand against the LORD's anointed.
26:24 오늘날 왕의 생명을 내가 중히 여긴 것 같이 내 생명을 여호와께서 중히
여기셔서 모든 환난에서 나를 구하여 내시기를 바라나이다
26:24 And so, as your life was dear to me today, may my life be dear to the Lord, and
may he make me free from all my troubles.
26:24 And, behold, as your life was much set by this day in mine eyes, so let my life be much set by in the eyes of the LORD, and let him deliver me out of all tribulation.
26:25 사울이 다윗에게 이르되 내 아들아 다윗아 네게 복이 있을지로다 네가 큰
일을 행하겠고 반드시 승리를 얻으리라 하니라 다윗은 자기 길로 가고 사울은 자기
곳으로 돌아가니라
26:25 Then Saul said to David, May a blessing be on you, David, my son; you will do great
things and without doubt you will overcome. Then David went on his way, and Saul
went back to his place.
26:25 Then Saul said to David, Blessed be you, my son David: you shall both do great things, and also shall still prevail. So David went on his way, and Saul returned to his place.
27:1 다윗이 그 마음에 생각하기를 내가 후일에는 사울의 손에 망하리니 블레셋
사람의 땅으로 피하여 들어가는 것이 상책이로다 사울이 이스라엘 온 경내에서 나를
수색하다가 절망하리니 내가 그 손에서 벗어나리라 하고
27:1 And David said to himself, Some day death will come to me by the hand of Saul: the
only thing for me to do is to get away into the land of the Philistines; then Saul
will give up hope of taking me in any part of the land of Israel: and so I may be
able to get away from him.
27:1 And David said in his heart, I shall now perish one day by the hand of Saul: there is nothing better for me than that I should speedily escape into the land of the Philistines; and Saul shall despair of me, to seek me any more in any coast of Israel: so shall I escape out of his hand.
27:2 일어나 함께 있는 육백 인으로 더불어 가드 왕 마옥의 아들 아기스에게로
건너가니라
27:2 So David and the six hundred men who were with him went over to Achish, the son
of Maoch, king of Gath.
27:2 And David arose, and he passed over with the six hundred men that were with him unto Achish, the son of Maoch, king of Gath.
27:3 다윗과 그의 사람들이 각기 가족을 거느리고 가드에서 아기스와 동거하였는데
다윗이 그 두 아내 이스르엘 여자 아히노암과 나발의 아내 되었던 갈멜 여자 아비가일과
함께 하였더니
27:3 And David and his men were living with Achish at Gath; every man had his family
with him, and David had his two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel, and Abigail of Carmel,
who had been the wife of Nabal.
27:3 And David dwelt with Achish at Gath, he and his men, every man with his household, even David with his two wives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the Carmelitess, Nabal's wife.
27:4 다윗이 가드에 도망한 것을 혹이 사울에게 고하매 사울이 다시는 그를 수색하지
아니하니라
27:4 And Saul, hearing that David had gone to Gath, went after him no longer.
27:4 And it was told Saul that David was fled to Gath: and he sought no more again for him.
27:5 ○ 다윗이 아기스에게 이르되 내가 당신께 은혜를 받았거든 지방 성읍 중
한 곳을 주어 나로 거하게 하소서 당신의 종이 어찌 당신과 함께 왕도에 거하리이까
27:5 Then David said to Achish, If now I have grace in your eyes, let me have a place
in one of the smaller towns of your land, to be my living-place; for it is not right
for your servant to be living with you in the king's town.
27:5 And David said unto Achish, If I have now found grace in yours eyes, let them give me a place in some town in the country, that I may dwell there: for why should your servant dwell in the royal city with you?
27:6 아기스가 그 날에 시글락을 그에게 주었으므로 시글락이 오늘까지 유다 왕에게
속하니라
27:6 So Achish straight away gave him Ziklag: and for that reason Ziklag has been the
property of the kings of Judah to this day.
27:6 Then Achish gave him Ziklag that day: wherefore Ziklag pertains unto the kings of Judah unto this day.
27:7 다윗이 블레셋 사람의 지방에 거한 날 수는 일 년 넉 달이었더라
27:7 And David was living in the land of the Philistines for the space of a year and
four months.
27:7 And the time that David dwelt in the country of the Philistines was a full year and four months.
27:8 ○ 다윗과 그의 사람들이 올라가서 그술 사람과 기르스 사람과 아말렉 사람을
침노하였으니 그들은 옛적부터 술과 애굽 땅으로 지나가는 지방의 거민이라
27:8 And David and his men went up and made attacks on the Geshurites and the Girzites
and the Amalekites; for these were the people who were living in the land from Telam
on the way to Shur, as far as Egypt.
27:8 And David and his men went up, and invaded the Geshurites, and the Gezrites, and the Amalekites: for those nations were of old the inhabitants of the land, as you go to Shur, even unto the land of Egypt.
27:9 다윗이 그 땅을 쳐서 남녀를 살려두지 아니하고 양과 소와 나귀와 약대와
의복을 취하고 돌아와서 아기스에게 이르매
27:9 And David again and again made attacks on the land till not a man or a woman was
still living; and he took away the sheep and the oxen and the asses and the camels
and the clothing; and he came back to Achish.
27:9 And David stroke the land, and left neither man nor woman alive, and took away the sheep, and the oxen, and the asses, and the camels, and the apparel, and returned, and came to Achish.
27:10 아기스가 가로되 너희가 오늘은 누구를 침노하였느냐 다윗이 가로되 유다
남방과 여라무엘 사람의 남방과 겐 사람의 남방이니이다
27:10 And every time Achish said, Where have you been fighting today? David said, Against
the South of Judah and the South of the Jerahmeelites and the South of the Kenites.
27:10 And Achish said, Where have all of you made a road to day? And David said, Against the south of Judah, and against the south of the Jerahmeelites, and against the south of the Kenites.
27:11 다윗이 그 남녀를 살려 가드로 데려가지 아니한 것은 그의 생각에 그들이
우리에게 대하여 이르기를 다윗의 행사가 이러하여 블레셋 사람의 지방에 거하는
동안에 이같이 행하는 습관이 있다 할까 두려워함이었더라
27:11 Not one living man or woman did David ever take back with him to Gath, fearing that
they might give an account of what had taken place, and say, This is what David
did, and so has he been doing all the time while he has been living in the land
of the Philistines.
27:11 And David saved neither man nor woman alive, to bring tidings to Gath, saying, Lest they should inform against us, saying, So did David, and so will be his manner all the while he dwells in the country of the Philistines.
27:12 아기스가 다윗을 믿고 말하기를 다윗이 자기 백성 이스라엘에게 심히 미움을
받게 하였으니 그는 영영히 내 사역자가 되리라 하니라
27:12 And Achish had belief in what David said, saying, He has made himself hated by all
his people Israel, and so he will be my servant for ever.
27:12 And Achish believed David, saying, He has made his people Israel utterly to detest him; therefore he shall be my servant for ever.
28:1 그 때에 블레셋 사람이 이스라엘을 쳐서 싸우려고 군대를 모집한지라 아기스가
다윗에게 이르되 너는 밝히 알라 너와 네 사람들이 나와 한 가지로 나가서 군대에
참가할 것이니라
28:1 Now in those days the Philistines got their forces together to make war on Israel.
And Achish said to David, Certainly you and your men are to go out with me to the
fight.
28:1 And it came to pass in those days, that the Philistines gathered their armies together for warfare, to fight with Israel. And Achish said unto David, Know you assuredly, that you shall go out with me to battle, you and your men.
28:2 다윗이 아기스에게 이르되 그러면 당신이 종의 행할 바를 아시리이다 아기스가
다윗에게 이르되 그러면 내가 너로 영영히 내 머리 지키는 자를 삼으리라 하니라
28:2 And David said to Achish, You will see now what your servant will do. And Achish
said to David, Then I will make you keeper of my head for ever.
28:2 And David said to Achish, Surely you shall know what your servant can do. And Achish said to David, Therefore will I make you keeper of mine head for ever.
28:3 ○ 사무엘이 죽었으므로 온 이스라엘이 그를 애곡하며 그의 본성 라마에
장사하였고 사울은 신접한 자와 박수를 그 땅에서 쫓아내었었더라
28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel, after weeping for him, had put his body in
its last resting-place in Ramah, his town. And Saul had put away from the land all
those who had control of spirits and who made use of secret arts.
28:3 Now Samuel was dead, and all Israel had lamented him, and buried him in Ramah, even in his own city. And Saul had put away those that had familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land.
28:4 블레셋 사람이 모여 수넴에 이르러 진 치매 사울이 온 이스라엘을 모아 길보아에
진 쳤더니
28:4 And the Philistines came together and put their forces in position in Shunem; and
Saul got all Israel together and they took up their positions in Gilboa.
28:4 And the Philistines gathered themselves together, and came and pitched in Shunem: and Saul gathered all Israel together, and they pitched in Gilboa.
28:5 사울이 블레셋 사람의 군대를 보고 두려워서 그 마음이 크게 떨린지라
28:5 And when Saul saw the Philistine army he was troubled, and his heart was moved with
fear.
28:5 And when Saul saw the host of the Philistines, he was afraid, and his heart greatly trembled.
28:6 사울이 여호와께 묻자오되 여호와께서 꿈으로도, 우림으로도, 선지자로도
그에게 대답지 아니하시므로
28:6 And when Saul went for directions to the Lord, the Lord gave him no answer, by a
dream or by the Urim or by the prophets.
28:6 And when Saul enquired of the LORD, the LORD answered him not, neither by dreams, nor by Urim, nor by prophets.
28:7 사울이 그 신하들에게 이르되 나를 위하여 신접한 여인을 찾으라 내가 그리로
가서 그에게 물으리라 그 신하들이 그에게 이르되 보소서 엔돌에 신접한 여인이 있나이다
28:7 Then Saul said to his servants, Get me a woman who has control of a spirit so that
I may go to her and get directions. And his servants said to him, There is such
a woman at En-dor.
28:7 Then said Saul unto his servants, Seek me a woman that has a familiar spirit, that I may go to her, and enquire of her. And his servants said to him, Behold, there is a woman that has a familiar spirit at Endor.
28:8 ○ 사울이 다른 옷을 입어 변장하고 두 사람과 함께 갈새 그들이 밤에 그
여인에게 이르러는 사울이 가로되 청하노니 나를 위하여 신접한 술법으로 내가 네게
말하는 사람을 불러 올리라
28:8 So Saul, putting on other clothing, so that he might not be seen to be the king,
took two men with him and went to the woman by night; and he said, Now, with the
help of the spirit which you have, make the person whose name I will give you come
up.
28:8 And Saul disguised himself, and put on other raiment, and he went, and two men with him, and they came to the woman by night: and he said, I pray you, divine unto me by the familiar spirit, and bring me him up, whom I shall name unto you.
28:9 여인이 그에게 이르되 네가 사울의 행한 일 곧 그가 신접한 자와 박수를
이 땅에서 멸절시켰음을 아나니 네가 어찌하여 내 생명에 올무를 놓아 나를 죽게
하려느냐
28:9 And the woman said to him, But you have knowledge of what Saul has done, how he
has put away out of the land those who have control of spirits and the users of
secret arts: why would you, by a trick, put me in danger of death?
28:9 And the woman said unto him, Behold, you know what Saul has done, how he has cut off those that have familiar spirits, and the wizards, out of the land: wherefore then lay you a snare for my life, to cause me to die?
28:10 사울이 여호와로 그에게 맹세하여 가로되 여호와께서 사시거니와 네가 이
일로는 벌을 당치 아니하리라
28:10 And Saul made an oath to her by the Lord, saying, By the living Lord, no punishment
will come to you for this.
28:10 And Saul swore to her by the LORD, saying, As the LORD lives, there shall no punishment happen to you for this thing.
28:11 여인이 가로되 내가 누구를 네게로 불러 올리랴 사울이 가로되 사무엘을
불러 올리라
28:11 Then the woman said, Who am I to let you see? And he said, Make Samuel come up for
me.
28:11 Then said the woman, Whom shall I bring up unto you? And he said, Bring me up Samuel.
28:12 여인이 사무엘을 보고 큰 소리로 외치며 사울에게 말하여 가로되 당신이
어찌하여 나를 속이셨나이까 당신이 사울이시니이다
28:12 And the woman saw that it was Saul, and she gave a loud cry, and said to Saul, Why
have you made use of deceit? for you are Saul.
28:12 And when the woman saw Samuel, she cried with a loud voice: and the woman spoke to Saul, saying, Why have you deceived me? for you are Saul.
28:13 왕이 그에게 이르되 두려워 말라 네가 무엇을 보았느냐 여인이 사울에게
이르되 내가 신이 땅에서 올라오는 것을 보았나이다
28:13 And the king said to her, Have no fear: what do you see? And the woman said to Saul,
I see a god coming up out of the earth.
28:13 And the king said unto her, Be not afraid: for what saw you? And the woman said unto Saul, I saw gods ascending out of the earth.
28:14 사울이 그에게 이르되 그 모양이 어떠하냐 그가 가로되 한 노인이 올라오는데
그가 겉옷을 입었나이다 사울이 그가 사무엘인 줄 알고 그 얼굴을 땅에 대고 절하니라
28:14 And he said to her, What is his form? And she said, It is an old man coming up covered
with a robe. And Saul saw that it was Samuel, and with his face bent down to the
earth he gave him honour.
28:14 And he said unto her, What form is he of? And she said, An old man comes up; and he is covered with a mantle. And Saul perceived that it was Samuel, and he stooped with his face to the ground, and bowed himself.
28:15 ○ 사무엘이 사울에게 이르되 네가 어찌하여 나를 불러 올려서 나로 분요케
하느냐 사울이 대답하되 나는 심히 군급하니이다 블레셋 사람은 나를 향하여 군대를
일으켰고 하나님은 나를 떠나서 다시는 선지자로도, 꿈으로도 내게 대답지 아니하시기로
나의 행할 일을 배우려고 당신을 불러 올렸나이다
28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why have you made me come up, troubling my rest? And Saul
in answer said, I am in great danger; for the Philistines are making war on me,
and God has gone away from me and will no longer give me any answer, by the prophets
or by dreams: so I have sent for you to make clear to me what I am to do.
28:15 And Samuel said to Saul, Why have you disquieted me, to bring me up? And Saul answered, I am sore distressed; for the Philistines make war against me, and God is departed from me, and answers me no more, neither by prophets, nor by dreams: therefore I have called you, that you may make known unto me what I shall do.
28:16 사무엘이 가로되 여호와께서 너를 떠나 네 대적이 되셨거늘 네가 어찌하여
내게 묻느냐
28:16 And Samuel said, Why do you put your questions to me, seeing that God has gone away
from you and is on the side of him who is against you?
28:16 Then said Samuel, Wherefore then do you ask of me, seeing the LORD is departed from you, and is become yours enemy?
28:17 여호와께서 나로 말씀하신 대로 네게 행하사 나라를 네 손에서 떼어 네 이웃
다윗에게 주셨느니라
28:17 And the Lord himself has done what I said: the Lord has taken the kingdom out of
your hand and given it to your neighbour David;
28:17 And the LORD has done to him, as he spoke by me: for the LORD has rent the kingdom out of yours hand, and given it to your neighbour, even to David:
28:18 네가 여호와의 목소리를 순종치 아니하고 그의 진노를 아말렉에게 쏟지
아니하였으므로 여호와께서 오늘날 이 일을 네게 행하셨고
28:18 Because you did not do what the Lord said, and did not give effect to his burning
wrath against Amalek. So the Lord has done this thing to you today.
28:18 Because you obeyed not the voice of the LORD, nor executed his fierce wrath upon Amalek, therefore has the LORD done this thing unto you this day.
28:19 여호와께서 이스라엘을 너와 함께 블레셋 사람의 손에 붙이시리니 내일
너와 네 아들들이 나와 함께 있으리라 여호와께서 또 이스라엘 군대를 블레셋 사람의
손에 붙이시리라
28:19 And more than this, the Lord will give Israel up with you into the hands of the
Philistines: and tomorrow you and your sons will be with me: and the Lord will give
up the army of Israel into the hands of the Philistines.
28:19 Moreover the LORD will also deliver Israel with you into the hand of the Philistines: and tomorrow shall you and your sons be with me: the LORD also shall deliver the host of Israel into the hand of the Philistines.
28:20 ○ 사울이 갑자기 땅에 온전히 엎드러지니 이는 사무엘의 말을 인하여 심히
두려워함이요 또 그 기력이 진하였으니 이는 그가 종일종야에 식물을 먹지 못하였음이라
28:20 Then Saul went down flat on the earth, and was full of fear because of Samuel's
words: and there was no strength in him, for he had taken no food all that day or
all that night.
28:20 Then Saul fell immediately all along on the earth, and was sore afraid, because of the words of Samuel: and there was no strength in him; for he had eaten no bread all the day, nor all the night.
28:21 그 여인이 사울에게 이르러 그 심히 고통함을 보고 그에게 이르되 여종이
왕의 말씀을 듣고 나의 생명을 아끼지 아니하고 왕이 내게 이르신 말씀을 청종하였사오니
28:21 And the woman came to Saul and saw that he was in great trouble, and said to him,
See now, your servant has given ear to your words, and I have put my life in danger
by doing what you said.
28:21 And the woman came unto Saul, and saw that he was sore troubled, and said unto him, Behold, yours handmaid has obeyed your voice, and I have put my life in my hand, and have hearkened unto your words which you spoke unto me.
28:22 그런즉 청컨대 이제 여종의 말을 들으사 나로 왕의 앞에 한 조각 떡을 드리게
하시고 왕은 잡수시고 길 가실 때에 기력을 얻으소서
28:22 So now, give ear to the voice of your servant, and let me give you a little bread;
and take some food to give you strength when you go on your way.
28:22 Now therefore, I pray you, hearken you also unto the voice of yours handmaid, and let me set a morsel of bread before you; and eat, that you may have strength, when you go on your way.
28:23 사울이 거절하여 가로되 내가 먹지 아니하겠노라 그 신하들과 여인이 강권하매
그 말을 듣고 땅에서 일어나 침상에 앉으니라
28:23 But he would not, saying, I have no desire for food. But his servants, together
with the woman, made him take food, and he gave way to them. So he got up from the
earth, and took his seat on the bed.
28:23 But he refused, and said, I will not eat. But his servants, together with the woman, compelled him; and he hearkened unto their voice. So he arose from the earth, and sat upon the bed.
28:24 여인의 집에 살진 송아지가 있으므로 그것을 급히 잡고 가루를 취하여 뭉쳐
무교병을 만들고 구워서
28:24 And the woman had in the house a young cow, made fat for food; and she put it to
death straight away; and she took meal and got it mixed and made unleavened bread;
28:24 And the woman had a fat calf in the house; and she hasted, and killed it, and took flour, and kneaded it, and did bake unleavened bread thereof:
28:25 사울의 앞에와 그 신하들의 앞에 드리니 그들이 먹고 일어나서 그 밤에
가니라
28:25 And she put it before Saul and his servants, and they had a meal. Then they got
up and went away the same night.
28:25 And she brought it before Saul, and before his servants; and they did eat. Then they rose up, and went away that night.
29:1 블레셋 사람들은 그 모든 군대를 아벡에 모았고 이스라엘 사람들은 이스르엘에
있는 샘 곁에 진 쳤더라
29:1 Now the Philistines got all their army together at Aphek: and the Israelites put
their forces in position by the fountain in Jezreel.
29:1 Now the Philistines gathered together all their armies to Aphek: and the Israelites pitched by a fountain which is in Jezreel.
29:2 블레셋 사람의 장관들은 수백씩 수천씩 영솔하여 나아가고 다윗과 그의 사람들은
아기스와 함께 그 뒤에서 나아가더니
29:2 And the lords of the Philistines went on with their hundreds and their thousands,
and David and his men came after with Achish.
29:2 And the lords of the Philistines passed on by hundreds, and by thousands: but David and his men passed on in the rear guard with Achish.
29:3 블레셋 사람의 방백들이 가로되 이 히브리 사람들이 무엇을 하려느냐 아기스가
블레셋 사람의 방백들에게 이르되 이는 이스라엘 왕 사울의 신하 다윗이 아니냐 그가
나와 함께 있은 지 여러 날 여러 해로되 그가 망명하여 온 날부터 오늘까지 내가
그의 허물을 보지 못하였노라
29:3 Then the rulers of the Philistines said, What are these Hebrews doing here? And
Achish said to the rulers of the Philistines, Is this not David, the servant of
Saul the king of Israel, who has been with me for a year or two, and I have never
seen any wrong in him from the time when he came to me till now?
29:3 Then said the princes of the Philistines, What do these Hebrews here? And Achish said unto the princes of the Philistines, Is not this David, the servant of Saul the king of Israel, which has been with me these days, or these years, and I have found no fault in him since he fell unto me unto this day?
29:4 블레셋 사람의 방백들이 그에게 노한지라 블레셋 방백들이 그에게 이르되
이 사람을 돌려보내어 왕이 그에게 정하신 그 처소로 가게 하소서 그는 우리와 함께
싸움에 내려가지 못하리니 그가 전장에서 우리의 대적이 될까 하나이다 그가 무엇으로
그 주와 다시 화합하리이까 이 사람들의 머리로 하지 아니하겠나이까
29:4 But the rulers of the Philistines were angry with him, and said to him, Make the
man go back to the place you have given him; do not let him go down with us to the
fight, or he may be turned against us and be false to us: for how will this man
make peace with his lord? will it not be with the heads of these men?
29:4 And the princes of the Philistines were angry with him; and the princes of the Philistines said unto him, Make this fellow return, that he may go again to his place which you have appointed him, and let him not go down with us to battle, lest in the battle he be an adversary to us: for wherewith should he reconcile himself unto his master? should it not be with the heads of these men?
29:5 그들이 춤추며 창화하여 가로되 사울의 죽인 자는 천천이요 다윗은
만만이로다 하던 이 다윗이 아니니이까
29:5 Is this not David, who was named in their songs, when in the dance they said to
one another, Saul has put to death thousands, and David tens of thousands?
29:5 Is not this David, of whom they sang one to another in dances, saying, Saul slew his thousands, and David his ten thousands?
29:6 아기스가 다윗을 불러 그에게 이르되 여호와께서 사시거니와 네가 정직하여
내게 온 날부터 오늘까지 네게 악이 있음을 보지 못하였으니 나와 함께 군중에 출입하는
것이 나의 소견에는 좋으나 장관들이 너를 좋아하지 아니하니
29:6 Then Achish sent for David and said to him, By the living Lord, you are upright,
and everything you have done with me in the army has been pleasing to me: I have
seen no evil in you from the day when you came to me till now: but still, the lords
are not pleased with you.
29:6 Then Achish called David, and said unto him, Surely, as the LORD lives, you have been upright, and your going out and your coming in with me in the host is good in my sight: for I have not found evil in you since the day of your coming unto me unto this day: nevertheless the lords favour you not.
29:7 너는 돌이켜 평안히 가서 블레셋 사람의 장관들에게 거슬려 보이게 말라
29:7 So now go back, and go in peace, so that you do not make the lords of the Philistines
angry.
29:7 Wherefore now return, and go in peace, that you displease not the lords of the Philistines.
29:8 다윗이 아기스에게 이르되 내가 무엇을 하였나이까 내가 당신의 앞에 오늘까지
있는 동안에 당신이 종에게서 무엇을 보셨기에 나로 가서 내 주 왕의 원수와 싸우지
못하게 하시나이까
29:8 And David said to Achish, But what have I done? what have you seen in your servant
while I have been with you till this day, that I may not go and take up arms against
those who are now making war on my lord the king?
29:8 And David said unto Achish, But what have I done? and what have you found in your servant so long as I have been with you unto this day, that I may not go fight against the enemies of my lord the king?
29:9 아기스가 다윗에게 대답하여 가로되 네가 내 목전에 하나님의 사자 같이 선한
것을 내가 아나 블레셋 사람의 방백들은 말하기를 그가 우리와 함께 전장에 올라가지
못하리라 하니
29:9 And Achish in answer said, It is true that in my eyes you are good, like an angel
of God: but still, the rulers of the Philistines have said, He is not to go up with
us to the fight.
29:9 And Achish answered and said to David, I know that you are good in my sight, as an angel of God: notwithstanding the princes of the Philistines have said, He shall not go up with us to the battle.
29:10 그런즉 너는 너와 함께 온 네 주의 신하들로 더불어 새벽에 일어나라 너희는
새벽에 일어나서 밝거든 곧 떠나라
29:10 So get up early in the morning, with the servants of your lord who are with you,
and go to the place I have given you, and have no evil design in your heart, for
you are good in my eyes; but when there is light enough in the morning, go away.
29:10 Wherefore now rise up early in the morning with your master's servants that are come with you: and as soon as all of you be up early in the morning, and have light, depart.
29:11 이에 다윗이 자기 사람들로 더불어 일찌기 아침에 일어나서 떠나
블레셋 사람의 땅으로 돌아가고 블레셋 사람은 이스르엘로 올라가니라
29:11 So David and his men got up early in the morning to go back to the land of the Philistines.
And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
29:11 So David and his men rose up early to depart in the morning, to return into the land of the Philistines. And the Philistines went up to Jezreel.
30:1 다윗과 그의 사람들이 제 삼 일에 시글락에 이를 때에 아말렉 사람들이 이미
남방과 시글락을 침노하였는데 그들이 시글락을 쳐서 불사르고
30:1 Now when David and his men came to Ziklag on the third day, the Amalekites had made
an attack on the South and on Ziklag, and had overcome Ziklag and put it on fire;
30:1 And it came to pass, when David and his men were come to Ziklag on the third day, that the Amalekites had invaded the south, and Ziklag, and smitten Ziklag, and burned it with fire;
30:2 거기 있는 대소 여인들을 하나도 죽이지 아니하고 다 사로잡아 끌고 자기
길을 갔더라
30:2 And had made the women and all who were there, small and great, prisoners: they
had not put any of them to death, but had taken them all away.
30:2 And had taken the women captives, that were therein: they slew not any, either great or small, but carried them away, and went on their way.
30:3 다윗과 그의 사람들이 성에 이르러 본즉 성이 불탔고 자기들의 아내와 자녀들이
사로잡혔는지라
30:3 And when David and his men came to the town, they saw that it had been burned down,
and their wives and their sons and daughters had been made prisoners.
30:3 So David and his men came to the city, and, behold, it was burned with fire; and their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, were taken captives.
30:4 다윗과 그와 함께 한 백성이 울 기력이 없도록 소리를 높여 울었더라
30:4 Then David and the people who were with him gave themselves up to weeping till they
were able to go on weeping no longer.
30:4 Then David and the people that were with him lifted up their voice and wept, until they had no more power to weep.
30:5 {다윗의 두 아내 이스르엘 여인 아히노암과 갈멜 사람 나발의 아내 되었던
아비가일도 사로잡혔더라}
30:5 And David's two wives, Ahinoam of Jezreel and Abigail, the wife of Nabal of Carmel,
had been made prisoners.
30:5 And David's two wives were taken captives, Ahinoam the Jezreelitess, and Abigail the wife of Nabal the Carmelite.
30:6 백성이 각기 자녀들을 위하여 마음이 슬퍼서 다윗을 돌로 치자 하니 다윗이
크게 군급하였으나 그 하나님 여호와를 힘입고 용기를 얻었더라
30:6 And David was greatly troubled; for the people were talking of stoning him, because
their hearts were bitter, every man sorrowing for his sons and his daughters: but
David made himself strong in the Lord his God.
30:6 And David was greatly distressed; for the people spoke of stoning him, because the soul of all the people was grieved, every man for his sons and for his daughters: but David encouraged himself in the LORD his God.
30:7 ○ 다윗이 아히멜렉의 아들 제사장 아비아달에게 이르되 청컨대 에봇을 내게로
가져오라 아비아달이 에봇을 다윗에게로 가져오매
30:7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, the son of Ahimelech, Come here to me with
the ephod. And Abiathar took the ephod to David.
30:7 And David said to Abiathar the priest, Ahimelech's son, I pray you, bring me here the ephod. And Abiathar brought thither the ephod to David.
30:8 다윗이 여호와께 묻자와 가로되 내가 이 군대를 쫓아가면 미치겠나이까 여호와께서
대답하시되 쫓아가라 네가 반드시 미치고 정녕 도로 찾으리라
30:8 Then David, questioning the Lord, said, Am I to go after this band? will I be able
to overtake them? And in answer he said, Go after them, for you will certainly overtake
them, and get back everything.
30:8 And David enquired at the LORD, saying, Shall I pursue after this troop? shall I overtake them? And he answered him, Pursue: for you shall surely overtake them, and without fail recover all.
30:9 이에 다윗과 그와 함께 한 육백 명이 가서 브솔 시내에 이르러는 뒤떨어진
자를 거기 머물렀으되
30:9 So David went, and his six hundred men went with him, and they came to the stream
Besor.
30:9 So David went, he and the six hundred men that were with him, and came to the brook Besor, where those that were left behind stayed.
30:10 곧 피곤하여 브솔 시내를 건너지 못하는 이백 인을 머물렀고 다윗은 사백
인을 거느리고 쫓아가니라
30:10 And David, with four hundred men, went on: but two hundred of them were overcome
with weariness, and not able to go across the stream.
30:10 But David pursued, he and four hundred men: for two hundred abode behind, which were so faint that they could not go over the brook Besor.
30:11 ○ 무리가 들에서 애굽 사람 하나를 만나 다윗에게로 데려다가 떡을 주어
먹게 하며 물을 마시우고
30:11 And in the fields they saw an Egyptian whom they took to David, and they gave him
bread, and he had a meal, and they gave him water for drink;
30:11 And they found an Egyptian in the field, and brought him to David, and gave him bread, and he did eat; and they made him drink water;
30:12 무화과 뭉치에서 뗀 덩이 하나와 건포도 두 송이를 주었으니 그가 낮 사흘,
밤 사흘을 떡도 먹지 못하였고 물도 마시지 못하였음이라 그가 먹고 정신을 차리매
30:12 And they gave him part of a cake of figs and some dry grapes; and after the food,
his spirit came back to him, for he had had no food or drink for three days and
nights.
30:12 And they gave him a piece of a cake of figs, and two clusters of raisins: and when he had eaten, his spirit came again to him: for he had eaten no bread, nor drunk any water, three days and three nights.
30:13 다윗이 그에게 이르되 너는 뉘게 속하였으며 어디로서냐 가로되 나는 애굽
소년이요 아말렉 사람의 종이더니 사흘 전에 병이 들매 주인이 나를 버렸나이다
30:13 And David said to him, Whose man are you and where do you come from? And he said,
I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master went on without
me because three days back I became ill.
30:13 And David said unto him, To whom belong you? and whence are you? And he said, I am a young man of Egypt, servant to an Amalekite; and my master left me, because three days ago I fell sick.
30:14 우리가 그렛 사람의 남방과 유다에 속한 지방과 갈멜 남방을 침노하고 시글락을
불살랐나이다
30:14 We made an attack on the south part of the country of the Cherethites, and on the
land which is Judah's, and on the south of Caleb; and we put Ziklag on fire.
30:14 We made an invasion upon the south of the Cherethites, and upon the coast which belongs to Judah, and upon the south of Caleb; and we burned Ziklag with fire.
30:15 다윗이 그에게 이르되 네가 나를 그 군대에게로 인도하겠느냐 그가 가로되
당신이 나를 죽이지도 아니하고 내 주인의 수중에 붙이지도 아니하겠다고 하나님으로
맹세하소서 그리하면 내가 당신을 이 군대에게로 인도하리이다
30:15 And David said to him, Will you take me down to this band? And he said, If you give
me your oath that you will not put me to death or give me up to my master, I will
take you to them.
30:15 And David said to him, Can you bring me down to this company? And he said, Swear unto me by God, that you will neither kill me, nor deliver me into the hands of my master, and I will bring you down to this company.
30:16 ○ 그가 인도하여 내려가니 그들이 온 땅에 편만하여 블레셋 사람의 땅과
유다 땅에서 크게 탈취하였음을 인하여 먹고 마시며 춤추는지라
30:16 And when he had taken him down, they saw them all, seated about on all sides, feasting
and drinking among all the mass of goods which they had taken from the land of the
Philistines and the land of Judah.
30:16 And when he had brought him down, behold, they were spread abroad upon all the earth, eating and drinking, and dancing, because of all the great spoil that they had taken out of the land of the Philistines, and out of the land of Judah.
30:17 다윗이 새벽부터 이튿날 저물 때까지 그들을 치매 약대 타고 도망한 소년
사백 명 외에는 피한 사람이 없었더라
30:17 And David went on fighting them from evening till the evening of the day after;
and not one of them got away but only four hundred young men who went in flight
on camels.
30:17 And David stroke them from the twilight even unto the evening of the next day: and there escaped not a man of them, save four hundred young men, which rode upon camels, and fled.
30:18 다윗이 아말렉 사람의 취하였던 모든 것을 도로 찾고 그 두 아내를 구원하였고
30:18 And David got back everything the Amalekites had taken; and he got back his two
wives.
30:18 And David recovered all that the Amalekites had carried away: and David rescued his two wives.
30:19 그들의 탈취하였던 것 곧 무리의 자녀들이나 빼앗겼던 것의 대소를 물론하고
아무 것도 잃은 것이 없이 다윗이 도로 찾아왔고
30:19 There was no loss of anything, small or great, sons or daughters or goods or anything
which they had taken away: David got it all back.
30:19 And there was nothing lacking to them, neither small nor great, neither sons nor daughters, neither spoil, nor any thing that they had taken to them: David recovered all.
30:20 또 양 떼와 소 떼를 다 탈취하였더니 무리가 그 가축 앞에 몰고 가며 가로되
이는 다윗의 탈취한 것이라 하였더라
30:20 And they took all the flocks and herds, and driving them in front of him, said,
These are David's.
30:20 And David took all the flocks and the herds, which they drove before those other cattle, and said, This is David's spoil.
30:21 ○ 다윗이 이왕에 피곤하여 능히 자기를 따르지 못하므로 브솔 시내에 머물게
한 이백 인에게 오매 그들이 다윗과 그와 함께 한 백성을 영접하러 나온지라 다윗이
그 백성에게 이르러 문안하매
30:21 And David came to the two hundred men, who because of weariness had not gone with
him, but were waiting at the stream Besor: and they went out, meeting David and
the people who were with him; and when they came near them, they said, How are you?
30:21 And David came to the two hundred men, which were so faint that they could not follow David, whom they had made also to abide at the brook Besor: and they went forth to meet David, and to meet the people that were with him: and when David came near to the people, he saluted them.
30:22 다윗과 함께 갔던 자 중에 악한 자와 비류들이 다 가로되 그들이 우리와
함께 가지 아니하였은즉 우리가 도로 찾은 물건은 무엇이든지 그들에게 주지 말고
각 사람의 처자만 주어서 데리고 떠나가게 하라 하는지라
30:22 Then the bad and good-for-nothing men among those who went with David said, Because
they did not go with us, we will give them nothing of the goods which we have got
back, but only to every man his wife and children, so that he may take them and
go.
30:22 Then answered all the wicked men and men of Belial, of those that went with David, and said, Because they went not with us, we will not give them ought of the spoil that we have recovered, save to every man his wife and his children, that they may lead them away, and depart.
30:23 다윗이 가로되 나의 형제들아 여호와께서 우리를 보호하시고 우리를 치러
온 그 군대를 우리 손에 붙이셨은즉 그가 우리에게 주신 것을 너희가 이같이 못하리라
30:23 Then David said, You are not to do this, my brothers, after what the Lord has given
us, who has kept us safe and given up the band which came against us into our hands.
30:23 Then said David, All of you shall not do so, my brethren, with that which the LORD has given us, who has preserved us, and delivered the company that came against us into our hand.
30:24 이 일에 누가 너희를 듣겠느냐 전장에 내려갔던 자의 분깃이나 소유물 곁에
머물렀던 자의 분깃이 일반일지니 같이 분배할 것이니라 하고
30:24 Who is going to give any attention to you in this question? for an equal part will
be given to him who went to the fight and to him who was waiting by the goods: they
are all to have the same.
30:24 For who will hearken unto you in this matter? but as his part is that goes down to the battle, so shall his part be that tarries by the stuff: they shall part alike.
30:25 그 날부터 다윗이 이것으로 이스라엘의 율례와 규례를 삼았더니 오늘까지
이르니라
30:25 And so he made it a rule and an order for Israel from that day till now.
30:25 And it was so from that day forward, that he made it a statute and an ordinance for Israel unto this day.
30:26 ○ 다윗이 시글락에 이르러 탈취물을 그 친구 유다 장로들에게 보내어 가로되
보라 여호와의 원수에게서 탈취한 것을 너희에게 선사하노라 하고
30:26 And when David came to Ziklag, he sent some of the goods to the responsible men
of Judah, and to his friends, saying, Here is an offering for you from the goods
of those who were fighting against the Lord;
30:26 And when David came to Ziklag, he sent of the spoil unto the elders of Judah, even to his friends, saying, Behold a present for you of the spoil of the enemies of the LORD;
30:27 벧엘에 있는 자와 남방 라못에 있는 자와 얏딜에 있는 자와
30:27 He sent to those who were in Beth-el, and in Ramah of the South, and in Jattir;
30:27 To them which were in Bethel, and to them which were in south Ramoth, and to them which were in Jattir,
30:28 아로엘에 있는 자와 십못에 있는 자와 에스드모아에 있는 자와
30:28 And to those in Arara and Eshtemoa
30:28 And to them which were in Aroer, and to them which were in Siphmoth, and to them which were in Eshtemoa,
30:29 라갈에 있는 자와 여라므엘 사람의 성읍들에 있는 자와 겐 사람의 성읍들에
있는 자와
30:29 and Carmel and in the towns of the Jerahmeelites, and in the towns of the Kenites;
30:29 And to them which were in Rachal, and to them which were in the cities of the Jerahmeelites, and to them which were in the cities of the Kenites,
30:30 홀마에 있는 자와 고라산에 있는 자와 아닥에 있는 자와 헤브론에 있는
자에게와 다윗과 그의 사람들의 왕래하던 모든 곳에 보내었더라
30:30 And to those who were in Hormah and in Bor-ashan and in Athach;
30:30 And to them which were in Hormah, and to them which were in Chorashan, and to them which were in Athach,
30:31 And in Hebron, and to all the places where David and his men had been living.
30:31 And to them which were in Hebron, and to all the places where David himself and his men were known to haunt.
31:1 블레셋 사람이 이스라엘을 치매 이스라엘 사람들이 블레셋 사람 앞에서 도망하여
길보아 산에서 엎드러져 죽으니라
31:1 Now the Philistines were fighting against Israel: and the men of Israel went in
flight before the Philistines, falling down wounded in Mount Gilboa.
31:1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel: and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
31:2 블레셋 사람들이 사울과 그 아들들을 쫓아 미쳐서 사울의 아들 요나단과
아비나답과 말기수아를 죽이니라
31:2 And the Philistines overtook Saul and his sons; and they put to death Jonathan and
Abinadab and Malchi-shua, the sons of Saul.
31:2 And the Philistines followed hard upon Saul and upon his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Melchishua, Saul's sons.
31:3 사울이 패전하매 활 쏘는 자가 따라 미치니 사울이 그 활 쏘는 자를 인하여
중상한지라
31:3 And the fight was going badly for Saul, and the archers came across him, and he
was wounded by the archers.
31:3 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him; and he was sore wounded of the archers.
31:4 그가 병기 든 자에게 이르되 네 칼을 빼어 나를 찌르라 할례 없는 자들이
와서 나를 찌르고 모욕할까 두려워하노라 하나 병기 든 자가 심히 두려워하여 즐겨
행치 아니하는지라 이에 사울이 자기 칼을 취하고 그 위에 엎드러지매
31:4 Then Saul said to the servant who had the care of his arms, Take out your sword
and put it through me, before these men without circumcision come and make sport
of me. But his servant, full of fear, would not do so. Then Saul took out his sword,
and falling on it, put an end to himself.
31:4 Then said Saul unto his armour bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and thrust me through, and abuse me. But his armour bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. Therefore Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
31:5 병기 든 자가 사울의 죽음을 보고 자기도 자기 칼 위에 엎드러져 그와 함께
죽으니라
31:5 And when his servant saw that Saul was dead, he did the same, and was united with
him in death.
31:5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise upon his sword, and died with him.
31:6 사울과 그 세 아들과 병기 든 자와 그의 모든 사람이 다 그 날에 함께 죽었더라
31:6 So death overtook Saul and his three sons and his servant on the same day.
31:6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and his armour bearer, and all his men, that same day together.
31:7 ○ 골짜기 저편에 있는 이스라엘 사람과 요단 건너편에 있는 자들이 이스라엘
사람들의 도망한 것과 사울과 그 아들들의 죽었음을 보고 성읍들을 버리고 도망하매
블레셋 사람들이 이르러 거기 거하니라
31:7 And when the men of Israel across the valley and on the other side of Jordan saw
that the army of Israel was in flight and that Saul and his sons were dead, they
came out of their towns and went in flight; and the Philistines came and took them
for themselves.
31:7 And when the men of Israel that were on the other side of the valley, and they that were on the other side Jordan, saw that the men of Israel fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, they forsook the cities, and fled; and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
31:8 그 이튿날 블레셋 사람들이 죽은 자를 벗기러 왔다가 사울과 그 세 아들이
길보아 산에서 죽은 것을 보고
31:8 Now on the day after, when the Philistines came to take their goods from the dead,
they saw Saul and his three sons dead on the earth in Mount Gilboa.
31:8 And it came to pass on the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his three sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
31:9 사울의 머리를 베고 그 갑옷을 벗기고 자기들의 신당과 백성에게 전파하기
위하여 그것을 블레셋 사람의 땅 사방에 보내고
31:9 And cutting off his head and taking away his war-dress, they sent word into the
land of the Philistines round about, to take the news to their gods and to the people.
31:9 And they cut off his head, and stripped off his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to publish it in the house of their idols, and among the people.
31:10 그 갑옷은 아스다롯의 집에 두고 그 시체는 벧산 성벽에 못 박으매
31:10 His war-dress they put in the house of Astarte; and his body was fixed on the wall
of Beth-shan.
31:10 And they put his armour in the house of Ashtaroth: and they fastened his body to the wall of Bethshan.
31:11 길르앗 야베스 거민들이 블레셋 사람들의 사울에게 행한 일을 듣고
31:11 And when the people of Jabesh-gilead had news of what the Philistines had done to
Saul,
31:11 And when the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead heard of that which the Philistines had done to Saul;
31:12 모든 장사가 일어나 밤새도록 가서 사울과 그 아들들의 시체를 벧산 성벽에서
취하여 가지고 야베스에 돌아와서 거기서 불사르고
31:12 All the fighting men got up and, travelling all night, took Saul's body and the
bodies of his sons from the wall of Beth-shan; and they came to Jabesh and had them
burned there.
31:12 All the valiant men arose, and went all night, and took the body of Saul and the bodies of his sons from the wall of Bethshan, and came to Jabesh, and burnt them there.
31:13 그 뼈를 가져다가 야베스 에셀나무 아래 장사하고 칠 일을 금식하였더라
31:13 And their bones they put in the earth under a tree in Jabesh; and for seven days
they took no food.
31:13 And they took their bones, and buried them under a tree at Jabesh, and fasted seven days. #@#
