15:1 ¾ó¸¶ ÈÄ ¹Ð °ÅµÑ ¶§¿¡ »ï¼ÕÀÌ ¿°¼Ò »õ³¢¸¦ °¡Áö°í ±× ¾Æ³»¿¡°Ô·Î ã¾Æ°¡¼­ °¡·ÎµÇ ³»°¡ ħ½Ç¿¡ µé¾î°¡ ¾Æ³»¸¦ º¸°íÀÚ Çϳë¶ó ÀåÀÎÀÌ µé¾î¿ÀÁö ¸øÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ°í
15:1 Now a short time after, at the time of the grain-cutting, Samson, taking with him a young goat, went to see his wife; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the bride's room. But her father would not let him go in.
15:1 But it came to pass within a while after, in the time of wheat harvest, that Samson visited his wife with a kid; and he said, I will go in to my wife into the chamber. But her father would not suffer him to go in.

15:2 And her father said, It seemed to me that you had only hate for her; so I gave her to your friend: but is not her younger sister fairer than she? so please take her in place of the other.
15:2 And her father said, I verily thought that you had utterly hated her; therefore I gave her to your companion: is not her younger sister fairer than she? take her, I pray you, instead of her.

15:3 »ï¼ÕÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ À̹øÀº ³»°¡ ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷À» ÇØÇÒÁö¶óµµ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ´ëÇÏ¿© ³»°Ô Çã¹°ÀÌ ¾øÀ» °ÍÀ̴϶ó ÇÏ°í
15:3 Then Samson said to them, This time I will give payment in full to the Philistines, for I am going to do them great evil.
15:3 And Samson said concerning them, Now shall I be more blameless than the Philistines, though I do them a displeasure.

15:4 So Samson went and got three hundred foxes and some sticks of fire-wood; and he put the foxes tail to tail with a stick between every two tails;
15:4 And Samson went and caught three hundred foxes, and took firebrands, and turned tail to tail, and put a firebrand in the midst between two tails.

15:5 ȳ¿¡ ºÒÀ» ÄÑ°í ±×°ÍÀ» ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ °î½Ä ¹çÀ¸·Î ¸ô¾Æ µé¿©¼­ °î½Ä ´Ü°ú ¾ÆÁ÷ º£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ °î½Ä°ú °¨¶÷¿øÀ» »ç¸¥Áö¶ó
15:5 Then firing the sticks, he let the foxes loose among the uncut grain of the Philistines, and all the corded stems as well as the living grain and the vine-gardens and the olives went up in flames.
15:5 And when he had set the brands on fire, he let them go into the standing corn of the Philistines, and burnt up both the shocks, and also the standing corn, with the vineyards and olives.

15:6 Then the Philistines said, Who has done this? And they said, Samson, the son-in-law of the Timnite, because he took his wife and gave her to his friend. So the Philistines came up and had her and her father's house burned.
15:6 Then the Philistines said, Who has done this? And they answered, Samson, the son in law of the Timnite, because he had taken his wife, and given her to his companion. And the Philistines came up, and burnt her and her father with fire.

15:7 And Samson said to them, If you go on like this, truly I will take my full payment from you; and that will be the end of it.
15:7 And Samson said unto them, Though all of you have done this, yet will I be avenged of you, and after that I will cease.

15:8 ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷À» Å©°Ô µµ·úÇÏ°í ³»·Á°¡¼­ ¿¡´ã ¹ÙÀ§ Æ´¿¡ °ÅÇϴ϶ó
15:8 And he made an attack on them, driving them in uncontrolled flight, and causing great destruction; then he went away to his safe place in the crack of the rock at Etam.
15:8 And he stroke them hip and thigh with a great slaughter: and he went down and dwelt in the top of the rock Etam.

15:9 ¡Û ÀÌ¿¡ ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¿Ã¶ó¿Í¼­ À¯´Ù¿¡ ÁøÀ» Ä¡°í ·¹È÷¿¡ Æí¸¸ÇÑÁö¶ó
15:9 Then the Philistines went and put up their tents in Judah, all round Lehi.
15:9 Then the Philistines went up, and pitched in Judah, and spread themselves in Lehi.

15:10 And the men of Judah said, Why have you come up against us? And they said, We have come up to take Samson, and to do to him as he has done to us.
15:10 And the men of Judah said, Why are all of you come up against us? And they answered, To bind Samson are we come up, to do to him as he has done to us.

15:11 Then three thousand of the men of Judah went down to the crack of the rock of Etam, and said to Samson, Is it not clear to you that the Philistines are our rulers? What is this you have done to us? And he said to them, I only did to them as they did to me.
15:11 Then three thousand men of Judah went to the top of the rock Etam, and said to Samson, Know you not that the Philistines are rulers over us? what is this that you have done unto us? And he said unto them, As they did unto me, so have I done unto them.

15:12 Then they said to him, We have come down to take you and give you up into the hands of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Give me your oath that you will not make an attack on me yourselves.
15:12 And they said unto him, We are come down to bind you, that we may deliver you into the hand of the Philistines. And Samson said unto them, Swear unto me, that all of you will not fall upon me yourselves.

15:13 ±×µéÀÌ »ï¼Õ¿¡°Ô ÀÏ·¯ °¡·ÎµÇ ¾Æ´Ï¶ó ¿ì¸®°¡ ´Ù¸¸ ³Ê¸¦ ´Ü´ÜÈ÷ °á¹ÚÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ºÙÀÏ »ÓÀÌ¿ä ¿ì¸®°¡ °á´ÜÄÚ ³Ê¸¦ Á×ÀÌÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó ÇÏ°í »õ ÁÙ µÑ·Î °á¹ÚÇÏ°í ¹ÙÀ§ Æ´¿¡¼­ ±×¸¦ ²ø¾î³»´Ï¶ó
15:13 And they said, No; we will take you and give you up into their hands, but truly we will not put you to death. So knotting two new cords round him they took him up from the rock.
15:13 And they spoke unto him, saying, No; but we will bind you fast, and deliver you into their hand: but surely we will not kill you. And they bound him with two new cords, and brought him up from the rock.

15:14 And when he came to Lehi, the Philistines came out, meeting him with loud cries; then the spirit of the Lord came rushing on him, and the cords on his arms became like grass which has been burned with fire, and the bands came falling off his hands.
15:14 And when he came unto Lehi, the Philistines shouted against him: and the Spirit of the LORD came mightily upon him, and the cords that were upon his arms became as flax that was burnt with fire, and his bands loosed from off his hands.

15:15 »ï¼ÕÀÌ ³ª±ÍÀÇ »õ ÅλÀ¸¦ º¸°í ¼ÕÀ» ³»¹Ð¾î ÃëÇÏ°í ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î ÀÏõ ¸íÀ» Á×ÀÌ°í
15:15 And taking up the mouth-bone of an ass newly dead, which he saw by chance on the earth, he put to death a thousand men with it.
15:15 And he found a new jawbone of an ass, and put forth his hand, and took it, and slew a thousand men therewith.

15:16 °¡·ÎµÇ ³ª±ÍÀÇ ÅλÀ·Î ÇÑ ´õ¹Ì µÎ ´õ¹Ì¸¦ ½×¾ÒÀ½ÀÌ¿© ³ª±ÍÀÇ ÅλÀ·Î ³»°¡ ÀÏõ ¸íÀ» Á׿´µµ´Ù
15:16 And Samson said, With a red ass's mouth-bone I have made them red with blood, with a red ass's mouth-bone I have sent destruction on a thousand men.
15:16 And Samson said, With the jawbone of an ass, heaps upon heaps, with the jaw of an ass have I slain a thousand men.

15:17 ¸»À» ¸¶Ä¡°í ÅλÀ¸¦ ±× ¼Õ¿¡¼­ ³»¾î´øÁö°í ±× °÷À» ¶ó¸À ·¹È÷¶ó À̸§ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
15:17 And having said these words, he let the mouth-bone go out of his hand; so that place was named Ramath-lehi.
15:17 And it came to pass, when he had made an end of speaking, that he cast away the jawbone out of his hand, and called that place Ramathlehi.

15:18 »ï¼ÕÀÌ ½ÉÈ÷ ¸ñ ¸¶¸£¹Ç·Î ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ÁÖ²²¼­ Á¾ÀÇ ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ÀÌ Å« ±¸¿øÀ» º£Çª¼Ì»ç¿À³ª ³»°¡ ÀÌÁ¦ ¸ñ¸»¶ó Á׾ ÇÒ·Ê ¹ÞÁö ¸øÇÑ ÀÚÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ºüÁö°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
15:18 After this, he was in great need of water, and crying out to the Lord, he said, You have given this great salvation by the hand of your servant, and now need of water will be my death; and I will be given into the hands of this people who are without circumcision.
15:18 And he was sore thirsty, and called on the LORD, and said, You have given this great deliverance into the hand of your servant: and now shall I die for thirst, and fall into the hand of the uncircumcised?

15:19 Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ·¹È÷¿¡ ÇÑ ¿ì¹¬ÇÑ °÷À» ÅÍÄ¡½Ã´Ï ¹°ÀÌ °Å±â¼­ ¼Ú¾Æ ³ª¿À´ÂÁö¶ó »ï¼ÕÀÌ ±×°ÍÀ» ¸¶½Ã°í Á¤½ÅÀÌ È¸º¹µÇ¾î ¼Ò»ýÇÏ´Ï ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ±× »ù À̸§Àº ¿£ÇÐ°í·¹¶ó ÀÌ »ùÀÌ ·¹È÷¿¡ ¿À´Ã±îÁö ÀÖ´õ¶ó
15:19 Then God made a crack in the hollow rock in Lehi and water came out of it; and after drinking, his spirit came back to him and he was strong again; so that place was named En-hakkore; it is in Lehi to this day.
15:19 But God clave an hollow place that was in the jaw, and there came water from it; and when he had drunk, his spirit came again, and he revived: wherefore he called the name thereof Enhakkore, which is in Lehi unto this day.

15:20 And he was judge of Israel in the days of the Philistines for twenty years.
15:20 And he judged Israel in the days of the Philistines twenty years.

16:1 Now Samson went to Gaza, and there he saw a loose woman and went in to her.
16:1 Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.

16:2 ȤÀÌ °¡»ç »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô °íÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ »ï¼ÕÀÌ ¿©±â ¿Ô´Ù ÇϸŠ°ð ±×¸¦ ¿¡¿ö½Î°í ¹ã»õµµ·Ï ¼º¹®¿¡ ¸Åº¹ÇÏ°í ¹ã»õµµ·Ï Á¾¿ëÈ÷ Çϸç À̸£±â¸¦ »õº®ÀÌ µÇ°Åµç ±×¸¦ Á×À̸®¶ó ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
16:2 And it was said to the Gazites, Samson is here. So they went round, watching for him all day at the doorway of the town, but at night they kept quiet, saying, When daylight comes we will put him to death.
16:2 And it was told the Gazites, saying, Samson has come here. And they compassed him in, and laid wait for him all night in the gate of the city, and were quiet all the night, saying, In the morning, when it is day, we shall kill him.

16:3 And Samson was there till the middle of the night; then he got up, and took a grip on the doors of the town, pulling them up, together with their two supports and their locks, and put them on his back and took them up to the top of the hill in front of Hebron.
16:3 And Samson lay till midnight, and arose at midnight, and took the doors of the gate of the city, and the two posts, and went away with them, bar and all, and put them upon his shoulders, and carried them up to the top of an hill that is before Hebron.

16:4 Now after this, he was in love with a woman in the valley of Sorek, named Delilah.
16:4 And it came to pass afterward, that he loved a woman in the valley of Sorek, whose name was Delilah.

16:5 ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¹æ¹éµéÀÌ ±× ¿©Àο¡°Ô·Î ¿Ã¶ó¿Í¼­ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ »ï¼ÕÀ» ²Ò¾î¼­ ¹«¾ùÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ±× Å« ÈûÀÌ ÀÖ´ÂÁö ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾î¶»°Ô ÇÏ¸é ±×¸¦ À̱â¾î¼­ °á¹ÚÇÏ¿© °ï°íÄÉ ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ»´ÂÁö ¾Ë¾Æº¸¶ó ±×¸®ÇÏ¸é ¿ì¸®°¡ °¢°¢ Àº ÀÏõ ÀϹéÀ» ³×°Ô ÁÖ¸®¶ó
16:5 And the chiefs of the Philistines came up to her, and said to her, Make use of your power over him and see what is the secret of his great strength, and how we may get the better of him, and put bands on him, so that we may make him feeble; and every one of us will give you eleven hundred shekels of silver.
16:5 And the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and said unto her, Entice him, and see wherein his great strength lies, and by what means we may prevail against him, that we may bind him to afflict him; and we will give you every one of us eleven hundred pieces of silver.

16:6 µé¸±¶ó°¡ »ï¼Õ¿¡°Ô ¸»ÇÏµÇ Ã»ÄÁ´ë ´ç½ÅÀÇ Å« ÈûÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀ¸·Î ¸»¹Ì¾Ï¾Æ ÀÖÀ¸¸ç ¾î¶»°Ô ÇÏ¸é ´ÉÈ÷ ´ç½ÅÀ» °á¹ÚÇÏ¿© °ï°íÄÉ ÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ»´ÂÁö ³»°Ô ¸»Ç϶ó
16:6 So Delilah said to Samson, Make clear to me now what is the secret of your great strength, and how you may be put in bands and made feeble.
16:6 And Delilah said to Samson, Tell me, I pray you, wherein your great strength lies, and wherewith you might be bound to afflict you.

16:7 »ï¼ÕÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¸¸ÀÏ ¸¶¸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ Çª¸¥ Ħ ÀÏ°öÀ¸·Î ³ª¸¦ °á¹ÚÇÏ¸é ³»°¡ ¾àÇÏ¿©Á®¼­ ´Ù¸¥ »ç¶÷°ú °°À¸¸®¶ó
16:7 And Samson said to her, If seven new bow-cords which have never been made dry are knotted round me, I will become feeble and will be like any other man.
16:7 And Samson said unto her, If they bind me with seven green withes that were never dried, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

16:8 ºí·¹¼Â »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¹æ¹éµéÀÌ ¸¶¸£Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑ Çª¸¥ Ħ ÀÏ°öÀ» ¿©Àο¡°Ô·Î °¡Á®¿À¸Å ±×°¡ ±×°ÍÀ¸·Î »ï¼ÕÀ» °á¹ÚÇÏ°í
16:8 So the chiefs of the Philistines gave her seven new bow-cords which had never been made dry, and she had them tightly knotted round him.
16:8 Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green withes which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

16:9 Now she had men waiting secretly in the inner room; and she said to him, The Philistines are on you, Samson. And the cords were broken by him as a twist of thread is broken when touched by a flame. So the secret of his strength did not come to light.
16:9 Now there were men lying in wait, abiding with her in the chamber. And she said unto him, The Philistines be upon you, Samson. And he brake the withes, as a thread of tow is broken when it touches the fire. So his strength was not known.

16:10 µé¸±¶ó°¡ »ï¼Õ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ º¸¶ó ´ç½ÅÀÌ ³ª¸¦ Èñ·ÕÇÏ¿© ³»°Ô °ÅÁþ¸»À» ÇÏ¿´µµ´Ù ûÄÁ´ë ¹«¾ùÀ¸·Î ÇÏ¸é ´ç½ÅÀ» °á¹ÚÇÒ ¼ö ÀÖÀ»´ÂÁö ÀÌÁ¦´Â ³»°Ô ¸»Ç϶ó
16:10 Then Delilah said to Samson, See, you have been making sport of me with false words; now, say truly how may you be put in bands?
16:10 And Delilah said unto Samson, Behold, you have mocked me, and told me lies: now tell me, I pray you, wherewith you might be bound.

16:11 And he said to her, If they only put round me new thick cords which have never been used, then I will become feeble and will be like any other man.
16:11 And he said unto her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that never were occupied, then shall I be weak, and be as another man.

16:12 So Delilah took new thick cords, knotting them tightly round him, and said to him, The Philistines are on you, Samson. And men were waiting secretly in the inner room. And the cords were broken off his arms like threads.
16:12 Delilah therefore took new ropes, and bound him therewith, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon you, Samson. And there were hidden attackers in wait abiding in the chamber. And he brake them from off his arms like a thread.

16:13 Then Delilah said to Samson, Up to now you have made sport of me with false words; now say truly, how may you be put in bands? And he said to her, If you get the seven twists of my hair worked into the cloth you are making and fixed with the pin, I will become feeble and will be like any other man.
16:13 And Delilah said unto Samson, Until now you have mocked me, and told me lies: tell me wherewith you might be bound. And he said unto her, If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web.

16:14 So while he was sleeping she got the seven twists of his hair worked into her cloth and fixed with the pin, and said to him, The Philistines are on you, Samson. Then awaking from his sleep, he got up quickly, pulling up cloth and machine together.
16:14 And she fastened it with the pin, and said unto him, The Philistines be upon you, Samson. And he awaked out of his sleep, and went away with the pin of the beam, and with the web.

16:15 And she said to him, Why do you say you are my lover when your heart is not mine? Three times you have made sport of me, and have not made clear to me the secret of your great strength.
16:15 And she said unto him, How can you say, I love you, when yours heart is not with me? you have mocked me these three times, and have not told me wherein your great strength lies.

16:17 And opening all his heart to her, he said to her, My head has never been touched by a blade, for I have been separate to God from the day of my birth: if my hair is cut off, then my strength will go from me and I will become feeble, and will be like any other man.
16:17 That he told her all his heart, and said unto her, There has not come a razor upon mine head; for I have been a Nazarite unto God from my mother's womb: if I be shaven, then my strength will go from me, and I shall become weak, and be like any other man.

16:18 And when Delilah saw that he had let her see into his heart, she sent word to the chiefs of the Philistines saying, Come up this time, for he has let out all his heart to me. Then the chiefs of the Philistines came to her, with the money in their hands.
16:18 And when Delilah saw that he had told her all his heart, she sent and called for the lords of the Philistines, saying, Come up this once, for he has showed me all his heart. Then the lords of the Philistines came up unto her, and brought money in their hand.

16:19 And she made him go to sleep on her knees; and she sent for a man and had his seven twists of hair cut off; and while it was being done he became feeble and his strength went from him.
16:19 And she made him sleep upon her knees; and she called for a man, and she caused him to shave off the seven locks of his head; and she began to afflict him, and his strength went from him.

16:20 Then she said, The Philistines are on you, Samson. And awaking from his sleep, he said, I will go out as at other times, shaking myself free. But he was not conscious that the Lord had gone from him.
16:20 And she said, The Philistines be upon you, Samson. And he awoke out of his sleep, and said, I will go out as at other times before, and shake myself. And he knows not that the LORD was departed from him.

16:21 So the Philistines took him and put out his eyes; then they took him down to Gaza, and, chaining him with bands of brass, put him to work crushing grain in the prison-house.
16:21 But the Philistines took him, and put out his eyes, and brought him down to Gaza, and bound him with fetters of brass; and he did grind in the prison house.

16:22 But the growth of his hair was starting again after it had been cut off.
16:22 Nevertheless the hair of his head began to grow again after he was shaven.

16:23 And the chiefs of the Philistines came together to make a great offering to Dagon their god, and to be glad; for they said, Our god has given into our hands Samson our hater.
16:23 Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together in order to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god has delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

16:24 And when the people saw him, they gave praise to their god; for they said, Our god has given into our hands the one who was fighting against us, who made our country waste, and who put great numbers of us to death.

16:25 Now when their hearts were full of joy, they said, Send for Samson to make sport for us. And they sent for Samson out of the prison-house, and he made sport before them; and they put him between the pillars.
16:25 And it came to pass, when their hearts were merry, that they said, Call for Samson, that he may make us sport. And they called for Samson out of the prison house; and he made them sport: and they set him between the pillars.

16:28 And Samson, crying out to the Lord, said, O Lord God, do have me now in mind, and do make me strong only this once, O God, so that I may take one last payment from the Philistines for my two eyes.
16:28 And Samson called unto the LORD, and said, O Lord God, remember me, I pray you, and strengthen me, I pray you, only this once, O God, that I may be at once avenged of the Philistines for my two eyes.

16:30 And Samson said, Let death overtake me with the Philistines. And he put out all his strength, and the house came down on the chiefs and on all the people who were in it. So the dead whom he sent to destruction by his death were more than all those on whom he had sent destruction in his life.

16:31 Then his brothers and his father's people came down and took him up and put his body to rest in the earth between Zorah and Eshtaol in the resting-place of Manoah his father. And he had been judge of Israel for twenty years.

17:2 And he said to his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver which were taken from you, about which you took an oath and said in my hearing, I have given this silver to the Lord from my hand for myself, to make a pictured image and a metal image: see, I have the silver, for I took it: so now I will give it back to you. And his mother said, May the blessing of the Lord be on my son.
17:2 And he said unto his mother, The eleven hundred shekels of silver that were taken from you, about which you cursed, and spoke of also in mine ears, behold, the silver is with me; I took it. And his mother said, Blessed be you of the LORD, my son.

17:3 And he gave back the eleven hundred shekels of silver to his mother, and his mother said, I have made the silver holy to the Lord from me for my son, to make a pictured image and a metal image.

17:4 So he gave the silver back to his mother. Then his mother took two hundred shekels of silver and gave them to a metal-worker who made a pictured image and a metal image from them: and it was in the house of Micah.

17:8 And he went away from the town of Beth-lehem-judah, looking for somewhere to make his living-place; and on his journey he came to the hill-country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah.
17:8 And the man departed out of the city from Bethlehemjudah to sojourn where he could find a place: and he came to mount Ephraim to the house of Micah, as he journeyed.

17:9 ¹Ì°¡°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô ¹¯µÇ ³Ê´Â ¾îµð¼­ºÎÅÍ ¿À´À´¢ ±×°¡ À̸£µÇ ³ª´Â À¯´Ù º£µé·¹ÇðÀÇ ·¹À§ÀÎÀ¸·Î¼­ °ÅÇÒ °÷À» ãÀ¸·¯ °¡³ë¶ó
17:9 And Micah said to him, Where do you come from? And he said to him, I am a Levite from Beth-lehem-judah, and I am looking for a living-place.
17:9 And Micah said unto him, Whence come you? And he said unto him, I am a Levite of Bethlehemjudah, and I go to sojourn where I may find a place.

17:10 ¹Ì°¡°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³×°¡ ³ª¿Í ÇÔ²² °ÅÇÏ¿© ³ª¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ¾Æºñ¿Í Á¦»çÀåÀÌ µÇ¶ó ³»°¡ Çظ¶´Ù Àº ¿­°ú ÀǺ¹ ÇÑ ¹ú°ú ½Ä¹°À» ÁÖ¸®¶ó ÇϹǷΠ·¹À§ÀÎÀÌ µé¾î°¬´õ´Ï
17:10 Then Micah said to him, Make your living-place with me, and be a father and a priest to me, and I will give you ten shekels of silver a year and your clothing and food.
17:10 And Micah said unto him, Dwell with me, and be unto me a father and a priest, and I will give you ten shekels of silver by the year, and a suit of apparel, and your victuals. So the Levite went in.

17:11 And the Levite said he would make his living-place with the man, and he became to him as one of his sons.
17:11 And the Levite was content to dwell with the man; and the young man was unto him as one of his sons.

17:12 And Micah gave the position to the Levite, and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.
17:12 And Micah consecrated the Levite; and the young man became his priest, and was in the house of Micah.

17:13 Then Micah said, Now I am certain that the Lord will do me good, seeing that the Levite has become my priest.
17:13 Then said Micah, Now know I that the LORD will do me good, seeing I have a Levite to my priest.

18:1 ±× ¶§¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡ ¿ÕÀÌ ¾ø¾ú°í ´Ü ÁöÆÄ´Â À̶§¿¡ °ÅÇÒ ±â¾÷ÀÇ ¶¥À» ±¸ÇÏ´Â ÁßÀ̾úÀ¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â ±×µéÀÌ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÁöÆÄ Áß¿¡¼­ À̶§±îÁö ±â¾÷ÀÇ ¶¥ ºÐ¹èÇÔÀ» ¾òÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´À½À̶ó
18:1 In those days there was no king in Israel, and in those days the Danites were looking for a heritage for themselves, to be their living-place; for up to that time no distribution of land had been made to them among the tribes of Israel.
18:1 In those days there was no king in Israel: and in those days the tribe of the Danites sought them an inheritance to dwell in; for unto that day all their inheritance had not fallen unto them among the tribes of Israel.

18:2 So the children of Dan sent five men from among their number, strong men, from Zorah and from Eshtaol, to take a look at the land and make a search through it; and they said to them, Go and make a search through the land; and they came to the hill-country of Ephraim, to the house of Micah, where they made a stop for the night.
18:2 And the children of Dan sent of their family five men from their coasts, men of valour, from Zorah, and from Eshtaol, to spy out the land, and to search it; and they said unto them, Go, search the land: who when they came to mount Ephraim, to the house of Micah, they lodged there.

18:3 When they were near the house of Micah, hearing a voice which was not strange to them, that of the young Levite, they went out of their road to his place, and said to him, How did you come here? and what are you doing in this place? and why are you here?
18:3 When they were by the house of Micah, they knew the voice of the young man the Levite: and they turned in thither, and said unto him, Who brought you here? and what make you in this place? and what have you here?

18:4 ±×°¡ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¹Ì°¡°¡ ¿©Â÷¿©Â÷È÷ ³ª¸¦ ´ëÁ¢ÇÏ¿© ³ª¸¦ °íºùÇÏ¿© ³ª·Î ÀÚ±â Á¦»çÀåÀ» »ï¾Ò´À´Ï¶ó
18:4 And he said to them, This is what Micah did for me, and he gave me payment and I became his priest.
18:4 And he said unto them, Thus and thus deals Micah with me, and has hired me, and I am his priest.

18:5 ±×µéÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ûÄÁ´ë ¿ì¸®¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© Çϳª´Ô²² ¹°¾îº¸¾Æ¼­ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ÇàÇÏ´Â ±æÀÌ ÇüÅëÇÒ´ÂÁö ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ¾Ë°Ô Ç϶ó
18:5 Then they said, Do get directions from God for us, to see if the journey on which we are going will have a good outcome.
18:5 And they said unto him, Ask counsel, we pray you, of God, that we may know whether our way which we go shall be prosperous.

18:6 ±× Á¦»çÀåÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ Æò¾ÈÈ÷ °¡¶ó ³ÊÈñÀÇ ÇàÇÏ´Â ±æÀº ¿©È£¿Í ¾Õ¿¡ ÀÖ´À´Ï¶ó
18:6 And the priest said to them, Go in peace: your way is guided by the Lord.
18:6 And the priest said unto them, Go in peace: before the LORD is your way wherein all of you go.

18:7 ¡Û ÀÌ¿¡ ´Ù¼¸ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¶°³ª ¶óÀ̽º¿¡ À̸£·¯ °Å±â ÀÖ´Â ¹é¼ºÀ» º»Áï ¿°·Á ¾øÀÌ °ÅÇÏ¿© ½Ãµ· »ç¶÷ °°ÀÌ ÇÑ°¡ÇÏ°í Æò¾ÈÇÏ´Ï ±× ¶¥¿¡´Â ±Ç¼¼ ÀâÀº ÀÚ°¡ ¾ø¾î¼­ ¹«½¼ ÀÏ¿¡µçÁö ±«·Ó°Ô ÇÔÀÌ ¾ø°í ½Ãµ· »ç¶÷°ú »ó°Å°¡ ¸Ö¸ç ¾Æ¹« »ç¶÷°úµµ »óÁ¾ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÔÀ̶ó
18:7 Then the five men went on their way and came to Laish and saw the people who were there, living without thought of danger, like the Zidonians, quiet and safe; for they had everything on earth for their needs, and they were far from the Zidonians and had no business with Aram.
18:7 Then the five men departed, and came to Laish, and saw the people that were therein, how they dwelt careless, after the manner of the Zidonians, quiet and secure; and there was no magistrate in the land, that might put them to shame in any thing; and they were far from the Zidonians, and had no business with any man.

18:8 ±×µéÀÌ ¼Ò¶ó¿Í ¿¡½º´Ù¿Ã¿¡ µ¹¾Æ¿Í¼­ ±× ÇüÁ¦¿¡°Ô À̸£¸Å ÇüÁ¦µéÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ¹¯µÇ ³ÊÈñ º¸±â¿¡ ¾î¶°ÇÏ´õ´¢
18:8 So they came back to their brothers in Zorah and Eshtaol, and their brothers said to them, What news have you?
18:8 And they came unto their brethren to Zorah and Eshtaol: and their brethren said unto them, What say all of you?

18:9 °¡·ÎµÇ ÀϾ¼­ ±×µéÀ» Ä¡·¯ ¿Ã¶ó°¡ÀÚ ¿ì¸®°¡ ±× ¶¥À» º»Áï ¸Å¿ì ÁÁ´õ¶ó ³ÊÈñ´Â °¡¸¸È÷ ÀÖ´À³Ä ³ª¾Æ°¡¼­ ±× ¶¥ ¾ò±â¸¦ °ÔÀ»¸® ¸»¶ó
18:9 And they said, Up! and let us go against Laish; for we have seen the land, and it is very good: why are you doing nothing? Do not be slow to go in and take the land for your heritage.
18:9 And they said, Arise, that we may go up against them: for we have seen the land, and, behold, it is very good: and are all of you still? be not slothful to go, and to enter to possess the land.

18:10 ³ÊÈñ°¡ °¡¸é Æò¾ÈÇÑ ¹é¼ºÀ» ¸¸³¯ °ÍÀÌ¿ä ±× ¶¥Àº ³Ð°í ±× °÷¿¡´Â ¼¼»ó¿¡ ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀÌ Çϳªµµ ºÎÁ·ÇÔÀÌ ¾ø´À´Ï¶ó Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ³ÊÈñ ¼Õ¿¡ ºÙÀ̴̼À´Ï¶ó
18:10 When you come there you will come to a people living without thought of danger; and the land is wide, and God has given it into your hands: a place where there is everything on earth for man's needs.
18:10 When all of you go, all of you shall come unto a people secure, and to a large land: for God has given it into your hands; a place where there is no lack of any thing that is in the earth.

18:11 ¡Û ´Ü ÁöÆÄ °¡Á· Áß À°¹é ¸íÀÌ º´±â¸¦ ¶ì°í ¼Ò¶ó¿Í ¿¡½º´Ù¿Ã¿¡¼­ Ãâ¹ßÇÏ¿©
18:11 So six hundred men of the Danites from Zorah and Eshtaol went out armed with instruments of war.
18:11 And there went from thence of the family of the Danites, out of Zorah and out of Eshtaol, six hundred men appointed with weapons of war.

18:12 ¿Ã¶ó°¡¼­ À¯´Ù ±â·­¿©¾Æ¸²¿¡ Áø Ä¡´Ï ÀÌ·¯¹Ç·Î ±× °÷ À̸§ÀÌ ¿À´Ã±îÁö ¸¶Çϳ״ÜÀÌ¸ç ±× °÷Àº ±â·­¿©¾Æ¸² µÚ¿¡ ÀÖ´õ¶ó
18:12 And they went up and put up their tents in Kiriath-jearim in Judah: so that place is named Mahaneh-dan to this day. It is to the west of Kiriath-jearim.
18:12 And they went up, and pitched in Kirjathjearim, in Judah: wherefore they called that place Mahanehdan unto this day: behold, it is behind Kirjathjearim.

18:13 ¹«¸®°¡ °Å±â¼­ ¶°³ª¼­ ¿¡ºê¶óÀÓ »êÁö ¹Ì°¡ÀÇ Áý¿¡ À̸£´Ï¶ó
18:13 From there they went on to the hill-country of Ephraim and came to the house of Micah.
18:13 And they passed thence unto mount Ephraim, and came unto the house of Micah.

18:14 ¡Û Àü¿¡ ¶óÀ̽º ¶¥À» ŽÁöÇÏ·¯ °¬´ø ´Ù¼¸ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±× ÇüÁ¦µé¿¡°Ô ¸»ÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ ÀÌ Áý¿¡ ¿¡º¿°ú µå¶óºö°ú »õ±ä ½Å»ó°ú ºÎ¾î ¸¸µç ½Å»óÀÌ ÀÖ´Â ÁÙÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Æ´À³Ä ±×·±Áï ÀÌÁ¦ ³ÊÈñ´Â ¸¶¶¥È÷ ÇàÇÒ °ÍÀ» »ý°¢Ç϶ó ÇÏ°í
18:14 Then the five men who had gone to make a search through the country of Laish, said to their brothers, Have you knowledge that in these houses there is an ephod and family gods and a pictured image and a metal image? So now you see what to do.
18:14 Then answered the five men that went to spy out the country of Laish, and said unto their brethren, Do all of you know that there is in these houses an ephod, and teraphim, and a graven image, and a molten image? now therefore consider what all of you have to do.

18:15 ´Ù¼¸ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±× ÆíÀ¸·Î ÇâÇÏ¿© ¼Ò³â ·¹À§ »ç¶÷ÀÇ Áý °ð ¹Ì°¡ÀÇ Áý¿¡ À̸£·¯ ¹®¾ÈÇÏ°í
18:15 And turning from their road they came to the house of the young Levite, the house of Micah, and said to him, Is it well with you?
18:15 And they turned in that direction, and came to the house of the young man the Levite, even unto the house of Micah, and saluted him.

18:16 ´Ü ÀÚ¼Õ À°¹é ¸íÀº º´±â¸¦ ¶ì°í ¹® ÀÔ±¸¿¡ ¼­´Ï¶ó
18:16 And the six hundred armed men of the Danites took their places by the doorway.
18:16 And the six hundred men appointed with their weapons of war, which were of the children of Dan, stood by the entering of the gate.

18:17 ¶¥À» ŽÁöÇÏ·¯ °¬´ø ´Ù¼¸ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±×¸®·Î µé¾î°¡¼­ »õ±ä ½Å»ó°ú ¿¡º¿°ú µå¶óºö°ú ºÎ¾î ¸¸µç ½Å»óÀ» ÃëÇÒ ¶§¿¡ Á¦»çÀåÀº º´±â¸¦ ¶í À°¹é ¸í°ú ÇÔ²² ¹® ÀÔ±¸¿¡ ¼¹´õ´Ï
18:17 Then the five men who had gone to make a search through the land, went in and took the pictured image and the ephod and the family gods and the metal image; and the priest was by the doorway with the six hundred armed men.
18:17 And the five men that went to spy out the land went up, and came in thither, and took the graven image, and the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image: and the priest stood in the entering of the gate with the six hundred men that were appointed with weapons of war.

18:18 ±× ´Ù¼¸ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ¹Ì°¡ÀÇ Áý¿¡ µé¾î°¡¼­ ±× »õ±ä ½Å»ó°ú ¿¡º¿°ú µå¶óºö°ú ºÎ¾î ¸¸µç ½Å»óÀ» ÃëÇÏ¿© ³»¸Å Á¦»çÀåÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ¹¯µÇ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¹«¾ùÀ» ÇÏ´À³Ä
18:18 And when they went into Micah's house and took out the pictured image and the ephod and the family gods and the metal image, the priest said to them, What are you doing?
18:18 And these went into Micah's house, and fetched the carved image, the ephod, and the teraphim, and the molten image. Then said the priest unto them, What do all of you?

18:19 ±×µéÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ÀáÀáÇ϶ó ³× ¼ÕÀ» ÀÔ¿¡ ´ë¶ó ¿ì¸®¿Í ÇÔ²² °¡¼­ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ ¾Æºñ¿Í Á¦»çÀåÀÌ µÇ¶ó ³×°¡ ÇÑ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ÁýÀÇ Á¦»çÀåÀÌ µÇ´Â °Í°ú À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÇÑ ÁöÆÄ, ÇÑ °¡Á·ÀÇ Á¦»çÀåÀÌ µÇ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¾î´À °ÍÀÌ ³´°Ú´À³Ä
18:19 And they said to him, Be quiet; say nothing, and come with us and be our father and priest; is it better for you to be priest to one man's house or to be priest to a tribe and a family in Israel?
18:19 And they said unto him, Hold your peace, lay yours hand upon your mouth, and go with us, and be to us a father and a priest: is it better for you to be a priest unto the house of one man, or that you be a priest unto a tribe and a family in Israel?

18:20 Á¦»çÀåÀÌ ¸¶À½¿¡ ±â»µÇÏ¿© ¿¡º¿°ú µå¶óºö°ú »õ±ä ¿ì»óÀ» ÃëÇÏ°í ±× ¹é¼º ÁßÀ¸·Î µé¾î°¡´Ï¶ó
18:20 Then the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod and the family gods and the pictured image and went with the people.
18:20 And the priest's heart was glad, and he took the ephod, and the teraphim, and the graven image, and went in the midst of the people.

18:21 ¡Û ±×µéÀÌ µ¹ÀÌÄѼ­ ¾î¸° ¾ÆÀ̵é°ú °¡Ãà°ú ¹°Ç°À» ¾Õ¿¡ µÎ°í ÁøÇàÇÏ´õ´Ï
18:21 So they went on their way again, putting the little ones and the oxen and the goods in front of them.
18:21 So they turned and departed, and put the little ones and the cattle and the carriage before them.

18:22 ¹Ì°¡ÀÇ ÁýÀ» ¸Ö¸® ¶°³­ ¶§¿¡ ¹Ì°¡ÀÇ ÀÌ¿ôÁý »ç¶÷µéÀÌ ¸ð¿©¼­ ´Ü ÀÚ¼ÕÀ» µû¶ó ¹ÌÃļ­´Â
18:22 When they had gone some way from the house of Micah, the men from the houses near Micah's house came together and overtook the children of Dan,
18:22 And when they were a good way from the house of Micah, the men that were in the houses near to Micah's house were gathered together, and overtook the children of Dan.

18:23 ´Ü ÀÚ¼ÕÀ» ºÎ¸£´ÂÁö¶ó ±×µéÀÌ ³¸À» µ¹ÀÌÄÑ ¹Ì°¡¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³×°¡ ¹«½¼ ÀÏ·Î ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ¸ð¾Æ°¡Áö°í ¿Ô´À³Ä
18:23 Crying out to them. And the Danites, turning round, said to Micah, What is your trouble, that you have taken up arms?
18:23 And they cried unto the children of Dan. And they turned their faces, and said unto Micah, What disturbs you, that you come with such a company?

18:24 ¹Ì°¡°¡ °¡·ÎµÇ ³ªÀÇ ÁöÀº ½Åµé°ú Á¦»çÀåÀ» ÃëÇÏ¿© °¬À¸´Ï ³»°Ô ¿ÀÈ÷·Á ÀÖ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀÌ³Ä ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ³ª´õ·¯ ¹«½¼ ÀÏÀÌ³Ä ÇÏ´À³Ä
18:24 And he said, You have taken my gods which I made, and my priest, and have gone away; what is there for me now? Why then do you say to me, What is your trouble?
18:24 And he said, All of you have taken away my gods which I made, and the priest, and all of you are gone away: and what have I more? and what is this that all of you say unto me, What disturbs you?

18:25 ´Ü ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³× ¸ñ¼Ò¸®¸¦ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô µé¸®°Ô ¸»¶ó ³ëÇÑ ÀÚµéÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ Ãļ­ ³× »ý¸í°ú ³× °¡Á·ÀÇ »ý¸íÀ» ÀÒ°Ô ÇÒ±î Çϳë¶ó ÇÏ°í
18:25 And the children of Dan said to him, Say no more, or men of bitter spirit may make an attack on you, causing loss of your life and the lives of your people.
18:25 And the children of Dan said unto him, Let not your voice be heard among us, lest angry fellows run upon you, and you lose your life, with the lives of your household.

18:26 Then the children of Dan went on their way; and when Micah saw that they were stronger than he, he went back to his house.
18:26 And the children of Dan went their way: and when Micah saw that they were too strong for him, he turned and went back unto his house.

18:27 And they took that which Micah had made, and his priest, and came to Laish, to a people living quietly and without thought of danger, and they put them to the sword without mercy, burning down their town.
18:27 And they took the things which Micah had made, and the priest which he had, and came unto Laish, unto a people that were resting and secure: and they stroke them with the edge of the sword, and burnt the city with fire.

19:1 Now in those days, when there was no king in Israel, a certain Levite was living in the inmost parts of the hill-country of Ephraim, and he got for himself a servant-wife from Beth-lehem-judah.
19:1 And it came to pass in those days, when there was no king in Israel, that there was a certain Levite sojourning on the side of mount Ephraim, who took to him a concubine out of Bethlehemjudah.

19:3 Then her husband got up and went after her, with the purpose of talking kindly to her, and taking her back with him; he had with him his young man and two asses: and she took him into her father's house, and her father, when he saw him, came forward to him with joy.
19:3 And her husband arose, and went after her, to speak friendly unto her, and to bring her again, having his servant with him, and a couple of asses: and she brought him into her father's house: and when the father of the damsel saw him, he rejoiced to meet him.

19:5 Now on the fourth day they got up early in the morning and he made ready to go away; but the girl's father said to his son-in-law, Take a little food to keep up your strength, and then go on your way.
19:5 And it came to pass on the fourth day, when they arose early in the morning, that he rose up to depart: and the damsel's father said unto his son in law, Comfort yours heart with a morsel of bread, and afterward go your way.

19:6 So seating themselves they had food and drink, the two of them together; and the girl's father said to the man, If it is your pleasure, take your rest here tonight, and let your heart be glad.
19:6 And they sat down, and did eat and drink both of them together: for the damsel's father had said unto the man, Be content, I pray you, and tarry all night, and let yours heart be merry.

19:8 Then early on the morning of the fifth day he got up to go away; but the girl's father said, Keep up your strength; so the two of them had a meal, and the man and his woman and his servant did not go till after the middle of the day.
19:8 And he arose early in the morning on the fifth day to depart; and the damsel's father said, Comfort yours heart, I pray you. And they tarried until afternoon, and they did eat both of them.

19:9 And when they got up to go away, his father-in-law, the girl's father, said to him, Now evening is coming on, so do not go tonight; see, the day is almost gone; take your rest here and let your heart be glad, and tomorrow early, go on your way back to your house.
19:9 And when the man rose up to depart, he, and his concubine, and his servant, his father in law, the damsel's father, said unto him, Behold, now the day draws toward evening, I pray you tarry all night: behold, the day grows to an end, lodge here, that yours heart may be merry; and tomorrow get you early on your way, that you may go home.

19:10 But the man would not be kept there that night, and he got up and went away and came opposite to Jebus (which is Jerusalem); and he had with him the two asses, ready for travelling, and his woman.
19:10 But the man would not tarry that night, but he rose up and departed, and came opposite to Jebus, which is Jerusalem; and there were with him two asses saddled, his concubine also was with him.

19:11 When they got near Jebus the day was far gone; and the servant said to his master, Now let us go from our road into this town of the Jebusites and take our night's rest there.
19:11 And when they were by Jebus, the day was far spent; and the servant said unto his master, Come, I pray you, and let us turn in into this city of the Jebusites, and lodge in it.

19:12 But his master said to him, We will not go out of our way into a strange town, whose people are not of the children of Israel; but we will go on to Gibeah.
19:12 And his master said unto him, We will not turn aside here into the city of a stranger, that is not of the children of Israel; we will pass over to Gibeah.

19:14 So they went on their way; and the sun went down when they were near Gibeah in the land of Benjamin.
19:14 And they passed on and went their way; and the sun went down upon them when they were by Gibeah, which belongs to Benjamin.

19:15 And they went off the road there with the purpose of stopping for the night in Gibeah: and he went in, seating himself in the street of the town, for no one took them into his house for the night.
19:15 And they turned aside thither, to go in and to lodge in Gibeah: and when he went in, he sat him down in a street of the city: for there was no man that took them into his house to lodging.

19:16 Now when it was evening they saw an old man coming back from his work in the fields; he was from the hill-country of Ephraim and was living in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.
19:16 And, behold, there came an old man from his work out of the field at even, which was also of mount Ephraim; and he sojourned in Gibeah: but the men of the place were Benjamites.

19:17 And when he saw the traveller in the street of the town, the old man said, Where are you going? and where do you come from?
19:17 And when he had lifted up his eyes, he saw a travelling man in the street of the city: and the old man said, Where go you? and whence come you?

19:18 And he said to him, We are on our way from Beth-lehem-judah to the inmost parts of the hill-country of Ephraim: I came from there and went to Beth-lehem-judah: now I am on my way back to my house, but no man will take me into his house.

19:19 But we have dry grass and food for our asses, as well as bread and wine for me, and for the woman, and for the young man with us: we have no need of anything.
19:19 Yet there is both straw and animal food for our asses; and there is bread and wine also for me, and for your handmaid, and for the young man which is with your servants: there is no lack of any thing.

19:22 While they were taking their pleasure at the meal, the good-for-nothing men of the town came round the house, giving blows on the door; and they said to the old man, the master of the house, Send out that man who came to your house, so that we may take our pleasure with him.
19:22 Now as they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial, beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into yours house, that we may know him.

19:23 So the man, the master of the house, went out to them, and said, No, my brothers, do not this evil thing; this man has come into my house, and you are not to do him this wrong.
19:23 And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man has come into mine house, do not this folly.

19:24 See, here is my daughter, a virgin, and his servant-wife: I will send them out for you to take them and do with them whatever you will. But do no such thing of shame to this man.
19:24 Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble all of you them, and do with them what seems good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing.

19:25 But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they had sexual contact with her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.

19:27 And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way: and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold.

19:28 And he said to her, Get up and let us be going; but there was no answer; so he took her up and put her on the ass, and went on his way and came to his house.
19:28 And he said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her up upon an ass, and the man rose up, and got him unto his place.

19:29 And when he had come to his house, he got his knife, and took the woman, cutting her up bone by bone into twelve parts, which he sent through all Israel.
19:29 And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel.

19:30 And he gave orders to the men whom he sent, saying, This is what you are to say to all the men of Israel, Has ever an act like this been done from the day when the children of Israel came out of Egypt to this day? Give thought to it, turning it over in your minds, and give your opinion of it.
19:30 And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds.

20:1 Then all the children of Israel took up arms, and the people came together like one man, from Dan to Beer-sheba, and the land of Gilead, before the Lord at Mizpah.
20:1 Then all the children of Israel went out, and the congregation was gathered together as one man, from Dan even to Beersheba, with the land of Gilead, unto the LORD in Mizpeh.

20:2 And the chiefs of the people, out of all the tribes of Israel, took their places in the meeting of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen armed with swords.
20:2 And the chief of all the people, even of all the tribes of Israel, presented themselves in the assembly of the people of God, four hundred thousand footmen that drew sword.

20:3 (Now the children of Benjamin had word that the children of Israel had gone up to Mizpah.) And the children of Israel said, Make clear how this evil thing took place.
20:3 (Now the children of Benjamin heard that the children of Israel were gone up to Mizpeh.) Then said the children of Israel, Tell us, how was this wickedness?

20:4 Then the Levite, the husband of the dead woman, said in answer, I came to Gibeah in the land of Benjamin, I and my servant-wife, for the purpose of stopping there for the night.
20:4 And the Levite, the husband of the woman that was slain, answered and said, I came into Gibeah that belongs to Benjamin, I and my concubine, to lodge.

20:5 And the townsmen of Gibeah came together against me, going round the house on all sides by night; it was their purpose to put me to death, and my servant-wife was violently used by them and is dead.
20:5 And the men of Gibeah rose against me, and beset the house round about upon me by night, and thought to have slain me: and my concubine have they forced, that she is dead.

20:6 So I took her, cutting her into parts which I sent through all the country of the heritage of Israel: for they have done an act of shame in Israel.
20:6 And I took my concubine, and cut her in pieces, and sent her throughout all the country of the inheritance of Israel: for they have committed lewdness and folly in Israel.

20:7 À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼Õµé¾Æ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ´Ù ¿©±â ÀÖÀºÁï ³ÊÈñÀÇ ÀÇ°ß°ú ¹æÃ¥À» ³¾Áö´Ï¶ó
20:7 Here you all are, you children of Israel; give now your suggestions about what is to be done.
20:7 Behold, all of you are all children of Israel; give here your advice and counsel.

20:8 ¡Û ¸ðµç ¹é¼ºÀÌ ÀÏÁ¦È÷ ÀϾ¸ç °¡·ÎµÇ ¿ì¸®°¡ Çϳª¶óµµ ÀÚ±â À帷À¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸç Çϳª¶óµµ ÀÚ±â ÁýÀ¸·Î µé¾î°¡Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ°í
20:8 Then all the people got up as one man and said, Not one of us will go to his tent or go back to his house:
20:8 And all the people arose as one man, saying, We will not any of us go to his tent, neither will we any of us turn into his house.

20:9 ¿ì¸®°¡ ±âºê¾Æ »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ÀÌ·¸°Ô ÇàÇϸ®´Ï °ð Á¦ºñ »Ì¾Æ¼­ ±×µéÀ» Ä¡µÇ
20:9 But this is what we will do to Gibeah: we will go up against it by the decision of the Lord;
20:9 But now this shall be the thing which we will do to Gibeah; we will go up by lot against it;

20:10 And we will take ten men out of every hundred, through all the tribes of Israel, a hundred out of every thousand, a thousand out of every ten thousand, to get food for the people, so that they may give to Gibeah of Benjamin the right punishment for the act of shame they have done in Israel.
20:10 And we will take ten men of an hundred throughout all the tribes of Israel, and an hundred of a thousand, and a thousand out of ten thousand, to fetch victual for the people, that they may do, when they come to Gibeah of Benjamin, according to all the folly that they have wrought in Israel.

20:11 So all the men of Israel were banded together against the town, united like one man.

20:12 And the tribes of Israel sent men through all the tribe of Benjamin saying, What is this evil which has been done among you?

20:13 Now give up those good-for-nothing persons in Gibeah so that we may put them to death, clearing away the evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not give ear to the voice of their brothers, the children of Israel.
20:13 Now therefore deliver us the men, the children of Belial, which are in Gibeah, that we may put them to death, and put away evil from Israel. But the children of Benjamin would not hearken to the voice of their brethren the children of Israel.

20:14 And the children of Benjamin came together from all their towns to Gibeah, to go to war with the children of Israel.
20:14 But the children of Benjamin gathered themselves together out of the cities unto Gibeah, to go out to battle against the children of Israel.

20:15 ±× ¶§¿¡ ¼ºÀ¾µé¿¡¼­ ³ª¿Â º£³Ä¹Î ÀÚ¼ÕÀÇ ¼ö´Â Ä®À» »©´Â ÀÚ°¡ ¸ðµÎ À̸¸ À°ÃµÀÌ¿ä ±× ¿Ü¿¡ ±âºê¾Æ °Å¹Î Áß ÅÃÇÑ ÀÚ°¡ Ä¥¹éÀε¥
20:15 And the children of Benjamin who came that day from the towns were twenty-six thousand men armed with swords, in addition to the people of Gibeah, numbering seven hundred of the best fighting-men,
20:15 And the children of Benjamin were numbered at that time out of the cities twenty and six thousand men that drew sword, beside the inhabitants of Gibeah, which were numbered seven hundred chosen men.

20:16 Who were left-handed, able to send a stone at a hair without error.
20:16 Among all this people there were seven hundred chosen men lefthanded; every one could sling stones at an hair breadth, and not miss.

20:17 And the men of Israel, other than Benjamin, were four hundred thousand in number, all armed with swords; they were all men of war.
20:17 And the men of Israel, beside Benjamin, were numbered four hundred thousand men that drew sword: all these were men of war.

20:18 And they got up and went up to Beth-el to get directions from God, and the children of Israel said, Who is to be the first to go up to the fight against the children of Benjamin? And the Lord said, Judah is to go up first.
20:18 And the children of Israel arose, and went up to the house of God, and asked counsel of God, and said, Which of us shall go up first to the battle against the children of Benjamin? And the LORD said, Judah shall go up first.

20:19 ¡Û À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ¾Æħ¿¡ ÀϾ ±âºê¾Æ¸¦ ´ëÇÏ¿© ÁøÀ» Ä¡´Ï¶ó
20:19 So the children of Israel got up in the morning and put themselves in position against Gibeah.
20:19 And the children of Israel rose up in the morning, and encamped against Gibeah.

20:20 And the men of Israel went out to war against Benjamin (and the men of Israel put their forces in fighting order against them at Gibeah).
20:20 And the men of Israel went out to battle against Benjamin; and the men of Israel put themselves in array to fight against them at Gibeah.

20:21 º£³Ä¹Î ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ±âºê¾Æ¿¡¼­ ³ª¿Í¼­ ´çÀÏ¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ »ç¶÷ À̸¸ ÀÌõÀ» ¶¥¿¡ ¾þµå·¯¶ß·ÈÀ¸³ª
20:21 Then the children of Benjamin came out from Gibeah, cutting down twenty-two thousand of the Israelites that day.
20:21 And the children of Benjamin came forth out of Gibeah, and destroyed down to the ground of the Israelites that day twenty and two thousand men.

20:22 But the people, the men of Israel, taking heart again, put their forces in order and took up the same position as on the first day.

20:23 Now the children of Israel went up, weeping before the Lord till evening, requesting the Lord and saying, Am I to go forward again to the fight against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the Lord said, Go up against him.
20:23 (And the children of Israel went up and wept before the LORD until even, and asked counsel of the LORD, saying, Shall I go up again to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother? And the LORD said, Go up against him.)

20:24 So the children of Israel went forward against the children of Benjamin the second day.
20:24 And the children of Israel came near against the children of Benjamin the second day.

20:25 And the second day Benjamin went out against them from Gibeah, cutting down eighteen thousand men of the children of Israel, all swordsmen.
20:25 And Benjamin went forth against them out of Gibeah the second day, and destroyed down to the ground of the children of Israel again eighteen thousand men; all these drew the sword.

20:26 Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up to Beth-el, weeping and waiting there before the Lord, going without food all day till evening, and offering burned offerings and peace-offerings before the Lord.
20:26 Then all the children of Israel, and all the people, went up, and came unto the house of God, and wept, and sat there before the LORD, and fasted that day until even, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings before the LORD.

20:28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, was in his place before it,) and said, Am I still to go on with the fight against the children of Benjamin my brother, or am I to give it up? And the Lord said, Go on; for tomorrow I will give him into your hands.
20:28 And Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; in order to morrow I will deliver them into yours hand.

20:29 So Israel put men secretly all round Gibeah to make a surprise attack on it.

20:30 And the children of Israel went up against the children of Benjamin on the third day, and put themselves in fighting order against Gibeah as before.

20:31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, moving away from the town; and as before, at their first attack, they put to death about thirty men of Israel on the highways, of which one goes up to Beth-el and the other to Gibeah, and in the open country.
20:31 And the children of Benjamin went out against the people, and were drawn away from the city; and they began to strike of the people, and kill, as at other times, in the highways, of which one goes up to the house of God, and the other to Gibeah in the field, about thirty men of Israel.

20:32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are giving way before us as at first. But the children of Israel said, Let us go in flight and get them away from the town, into the highways.
20:32 And the children of Benjamin said, They are smitten down before us, as at the first. But the children of Israel said, Let us flee, and draw them from the city unto the highways.

20:33 So all the men of Israel got up and put themselves in fighting order at Baal-tamar: and those who had been waiting secretly to make a surprise attack came rushing out of their place on the west of Geba.
20:33 And all the men of Israel rose up out of their place, and put themselves in array at Baaltamar: and the hidden attackers in wait of Israel came forth out of their places, even out of the meadows of Gibeah.

20:34 And they came in front of Gibeah, ten thousand of the best men in all Israel, and the fighting became more violent; but the children of Benjamin were not conscious that evil was coming on them.
20:34 And there came against Gibeah ten thousand chosen men out of all Israel, and the battle was sore: but they knew not that evil was near them.

20:35 Then the Lord sent sudden fear on Benjamin before Israel; and that day the children of Israel put to death twenty-five thousand, one hundred men of Benjamin, all of them swordsmen.
20:35 And the LORD stroke Benjamin before Israel: and the children of Israel destroyed of the Benjamites that day twenty and five thousand and an hundred men: all these drew the sword.

20:36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were overcome: and the men of Israel had given way before Benjamin, putting their faith in the watchers who were to make the surprise attack on Gibeah.
20:36 So the children of Benjamin saw that they were smitten: for the men of Israel gave place to the Benjamites, because they trusted unto the hidden attackers in wait which they had set beside Gibeah.

20:37 º¹º´ÀÌ ±ÞÈ÷ ³ª¿Í ±âºê¾Æ¿¡ µ¹ÀÔÇÏ°í ³ª¾Æ°¡¸ç Ä®³¯·Î ¿Â ¼ºÀ¾À» ÃÆÀ½ÀÌ´õ¶ó
20:37 And the watchers, rushing on Gibeah and overrunning it, put all the town to the sword without mercy.
20:37 And the hidden attackers in wait hasted, and rushed upon Gibeah; and the hidden attackers in wait drew themselves along, and stroke all the city with the edge of the sword.

20:38 óÀ½¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ »ç¶÷°ú º¹º´ »çÀÌ¿¡ »ó¾àÇϱ⸦ ¼ºÀ¾¿¡¼­ Å« ¿¬±â°¡ Ä¡¹Ì´Â °ÍÀ¸·Î ±ºÈ£¸¦ »ïÀÚ ÇÏ°í
20:38 Now the sign fixed between the men of Israel and those making the surprise attack was that when they made a pillar of smoke go up from the town,
20:38 Now there was an appointed sign between the men of Israel and the hidden attackers in wait, that they should make a great flame with smoke rise up out of the city.

20:39 The men of Israel were to make a turn about in the fight. And Benjamin had overcome and put to death about thirty of the men of Israel, and were saying, Certainly they are falling back before us as in the first fight.
20:39 And when the men of Israel retired in the battle, Benjamin began to strike and kill of the men of Israel about thirty persons: for they said, Surely they are smitten down before us, as in the first battle.

20:40 Then the sign went up out of the town in the pillar of smoke, and the Benjamites, turning back, saw all the town going up in smoke to heaven.
20:40 But when the flame began to arise up out of the city with a pillar of smoke, the Benjamites looked behind them, and, behold, the flame of the city ascended up to heaven.

20:41 And the men of Israel had made a turn about, and the men of Benjamin were overcome with fear, for they saw that evil had overtaken them.
20:41 And when the men of Israel turned again, the men of Benjamin were amazed: for they saw that evil was come upon them.

20:42 So turning their backs on the men of Israel, they went in the direction of the waste land; but the fight overtook them; and those who came out of the town were heading them off and putting them to the sword.
20:42 Therefore they turned their backs before the men of Israel unto the way of the wilderness; but the battle overtook them; and them which came out of the cities they destroyed in the midst of them.

20:43 ±×µéÀÌ º£³Ä¹Î »ç¶÷À» ¿¡¿ö½Õ´õ´Ï ±âºê¾Æ ¾Õ µ¿Æí±îÁö ÂÑÀ¸¸ç ±× ½¬´Â °÷¿¡¼­ Áþ¹âÀ¸¸Å
20:43 And crushing Benjamin down, they went after them, driving them from Nohah as far as the east side of Gibeah.
20:43 Thus they enclosed the Benjamites round about, and chased them, and trode them down with ease opposite to Gibeah toward the sunrising.

20:44 Eighteen thousand men of Benjamin came to their death, all strong men of war.
20:44 And there fell of Benjamin eighteen thousand men; all these were men of valour.

20:45 And turning, they went in flight to the rock of Rimmon in the waste land: and on the highways five thousand of them were cut off by the men of Israel, who, pushing on hard after them to Geba, put to death two thousand more.
20:45 And they turned and fled toward the wilderness unto the rock of Rimmon: and they gleaned of them in the highways five thousand men; and pursued hard after them unto Gidom, and slew two thousand men of them.

20:46 So twenty-five thousand of the swordsmen of Benjamin came to their end that day, all strong men of war.
20:46 So that all which fell that day of Benjamin were twenty and five thousand men that drew the sword; all these were men of valour.

20:47 But six hundred men, turning back, went in flight to the rock of Rimmon in the waste land, and were living on the rock of Rimmon for four months.
20:47 But six hundred men turned and fled to the wilderness unto the rock Rimmon, and abode in the rock Rimmon four months.

20:48 And the men of Israel, turning again against the children of Benjamin, put to the sword without mercy all the towns and the cattle and everything there was, burning every town which came into their hands.
20:48 And the men of Israel turned again upon the children of Benjamin, and stroke them with the edge of the sword, as well the men of every city, as the beast, and all that came to hand: also they set on fire all the cities that they came to.

21:1 Now the men of Israel had taken an oath in Mizpah, saying, Not one of us will give his daughter as a wife to Benjamin.
21:1 Now the men of Israel had sworn in Mizpeh, saying, There shall not any of us give his daughter unto Benjamin to wife.

21:2 ¹é¼ºÀÌ º¦¿¤¿¡ À̸£·¯ °Å±â¼­ Àú³á±îÁö Çϳª´Ô ¾Õ¿¡ ¾É¾Æ¼­ ´ë¼ºÅë°îÇÏ¿©
21:2 And the people came to Beth-el, waiting there till evening before God, and gave themselves up to bitter weeping.
21:2 And the people came to the house of God, and abode there till even before God, and lifted up their voices, and wept sore;

21:3 And they said, O Lord, the God of Israel, why has this fate come on Israel, that today one tribe has been cut off from Israel?
21:3 And said, O LORD God of Israel, why is this come to pass in Israel, that there should be to day one tribe lacking in Israel?

21:4 ÀÌƱ³¯¿¡ ¹é¼ºÀÌ ÀÏÂî±â ÀϾ¼­ °Å±â ÇÑ ´ÜÀ» ½×°í ¹øÁ¦¿Í È­¸ñÁ¦¸¦ µå·È´õ¶ó
21:4 Then on the day after, the people got up early and made an altar there, offering burned offerings and peace-offerings.
21:4 And it came to pass on the next day, that the people rose early, and built there an altar, and offered burnt offerings and peace offerings.

21:5 And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel, who did not come up to the Lord at the meeting of all Israel? For they had taken a great oath that whoever did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord was to be put to death.
21:5 And the children of Israel said, Who is there among all the tribes of Israel that came not up with the congregation unto the LORD? For they had made a great oath concerning him that came not up to the LORD to Mizpeh, saying, He shall surely be put to death.

21:6 And the children of Israel were moved with pity for Benjamin their brother, saying, Today one tribe has been cut off from Israel.
21:6 And the children of Israel repented them for Benjamin their brother, and said, There is one tribe cut off from Israel this day.

21:7 What are we to do about wives for those who are still living? For we have taken an oath by the Lord that we will not give them our daughters for wives.
21:7 How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing we have sworn by the LORD that we will not give them of our daughters to wives?

21:8 And they said, Which one of the tribes of Israel did not come up to Mizpah to the Lord? And it was seen that no one had come from Jabesh-gilead to the meeting.
21:8 And they said, What one is there of the tribes of Israel that came not up to Mizpeh to the LORD? And, behold, there came none to the camp from Jabeshgilead to the assembly.

21:9 For when the people were numbered, not one man of the people of Jabesh-gilead was present.
21:9 For the people were numbered, and, behold, there were none of the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead there.

21:10 So they (the meeting) sent twelve thousand of the best fighting-men, and gave them orders, saying, Go and put the people of Jabesh-gilead to the sword without mercy, with their women and their little ones.
21:10 And the congregation sent thither twelve thousand men of the valiant, and commanded them, saying, Go and strike the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead with the edge of the sword, with the women and the children.

21:11 And this is what you are to do: every male, and every woman who has had sex relations with a man, you are to put to the curse, but you are to keep safe the virgins. And they did so.
21:11 And this is the thing that all of you shall do, All of you shall utterly destroy every male, and every woman that has lain by man.

21:12 Now there were among the people of Jabesh-gilead four hundred young virgins who had never had sex relations with a man; these they took to their tents in Shiloh in the land of Canaan.
21:12 And they found among the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead four hundred young virgins, that had known no man by lying with any male: and they brought them unto the camp to Shiloh, which is in the land of Canaan.

21:13 And all the meeting sent to the men of Benjamin who were in the rock of Rimmon, offering them peace.
21:13 And the whole congregation sent some to speak to the children of Benjamin that were in the rock Rimmon, and to call peaceably unto them.

21:14 Then Benjamin came back; and they gave them the women whom they had kept from death among the women of Jabesh-gilead: but still there were not enough for them.
21:14 And Benjamin came again at that time; and they gave them wives which they had saved alive of the women of Jabeshgilead: and yet so they sufficed them not.

21:15 And the people were moved with pity for Benjamin, because the Lord had let his wrath loose on the tribes of Israel.
21:15 And the people repented them for Benjamin, because that the LORD had made a breach in the tribes of Israel.

21:16 Then the responsible men of the meeting said, What are we to do about wives for the rest of them, seeing that the women of Benjamin are dead?
21:16 Then the elders of the congregation said, How shall we do for wives for them that remain, seeing the women are destroyed out of Benjamin?

21:17 And they said, How is the rest of Benjamin to be given offspring so that one tribe of Israel may not be put out of existence,
21:17 And they said, There must be an inheritance for them that be escaped of Benjamin, that a tribe be not destroyed out of Israel.

21:18 ±×·¯³ª ¿ì¸®°¡ ¿ì¸®ÀÇ µþÀ» ±×µéÀÇ ¾Æ³»·Î ÁÖÁö ¸øÇϸ®´Ï ÀÌ´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ¸Í¼¼ÇÏ¿© À̸£±â¸¦ µþÀ» º£³Ä¹Î¿¡°Ô ¾Æ³»·Î ÁÖ´Â ÀÚ´Â ÀúÁÖ¸¦ ¹ÞÀ¸¸®¶ó ÇÏ¿´À½À̷δÙ
21:18 Seeing that we may not give them our daughters as wives? For the children of Israel had taken an oath, saying, Cursed is he who gives a wife to Benjamin.
21:18 Nevertheless we may not give them wives of our daughters: for the children of Israel have sworn, saying, Cursed be he that gives a wife to Benjamin.

21:19 ¶Ç °¡·ÎµÇ º¸¶ó º¦¿¤ ºÏÆí, ¸£º¸³ª ³²Æí º¦¿¤¿¡¼­ ¼¼°×À¸·Î ¿Ã¶ó°¡´Â Å« ±æ µ¿Æí ½Ç·Î¿¡ ¸Å³â ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Àý±â°¡ ÀÖµµ´Ù ÇÏ°í
21:19 And they said, See, every year there is a feast of the Lord in Shiloh, which is to the north of Beth-el, on the east side of the highway which goes up from Beth-el to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.
21:19 Then they said, Behold, there is a feast of the LORD in Shiloh yearly in a place which is on the north side of Bethel, on the east side of the highway that goes up from Bethel to Shechem, and on the south of Lebonah.

21:20 º£³Ä¹Î ÀÚ¼Õ¿¡°Ô ¸íÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ °¡¼­ Æ÷µµ¿ø¿¡ ¼û¾î
21:20 And they said to the men of Benjamin, Go into the vine-gardens, waiting there secretly,
21:20 Therefore they commanded the children of Benjamin, saying, Go and lie in wait in the vineyards;

21:21 º¸´Ù°¡ ½Ç·ÎÀÇ ¿©ÀÚµéÀÌ ¹«µµÇÏ·¯ ³ª¿À°Åµç ³ÊÈñ´Â Æ÷µµ¿ø¿¡¼­ ³ª¿Í¼­ ½Ç·ÎÀÇ µþ Áß¿¡¼­ °¢°¢ ±× ¾Æ³»·Î ºÙµé¾î °¡Áö°í º£³Ä¹Î ¶¥À¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡¶ó
21:21 And watching; and if the daughters of Shiloh come out to take part in the dances, then come from the vine-gardens and take a wife for every one of you from among the daughters of Shiloh, and go back to the land of Benjamin.
21:21 And see, and, behold, if the daughters of Shiloh come out to dance in dances, then come all of you out of the vineyards, and catch you every man his wife of the daughters of Shiloh, and go to the land of Benjamin.

21:22 ¸¸ÀÏ ±× ¾Æºñ³ª ÇüÁ¦°¡ ¿Í¼­ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô Àï·ÐÇÏ¸é ¿ì¸®°¡ ±×¿¡°Ô ¸»Çϱ⸦ ûÄÁ´ë ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÀºÇý¸¦ º£Ç®¾î ±×µéÀ» ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ÁÙÁö´Ï¶ó ÀÌ´Â ¿ì¸®°¡ ÀüÀïÇÒ ¶§¿¡ °¢ »ç¶÷À» À§ÇÏ¿© ±× ¾Æ³»¸¦ ¾ò¾î ÁÖÁö ¸øÇÏ¿´°í ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÀÚÀÇ·Î ±×µé¿¡°Ô ÁØ °ÍÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï´Ï ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÁË°¡ ¾øÀ» °ÍÀÓÀ̴϶ó ÇÏ°Ú³ë¶ó ÇϸÅ
21:22 And when their fathers or their brothers come and make trouble, you are to say to them, Give them to us as an act of grace; for we did not take them as wives for ourselves in war; and if you yourselves had given them to us you would have been responsible for the broken oath.
21:22 And it shall be, when their fathers or their brethren come unto us to complain, that we will say unto them, Be favourable unto them for our sakes: because we reserved not to each man his wife in the war: for all of you did not give unto them at this time, that all of you should be guilty.

21:23 º£³Ä¹Î ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ±× °°ÀÌ ÇàÇÏ¿© ÃãÃß´Â ¿©ÀÚ Áß¿¡¼­ ÀÚ±âµéÀÇ ¼öÈ¿´ë·Î ¾Æ³»·Î ºÙµé¾î °¡Áö°í Àڱ⠱â¾÷¿¡ µ¹¾Æ°¡¼­ ¼ºÀ¾µéÀ» Áß°ÇÇÏ°í °Å±â °ÅÇϴ϶ó
21:23 So the men of Benjamin did this, and got wives for themselves for every one of their number, taking them away by force from the dance; then they went back to their heritage, building up their towns and living in them.
21:23 And the children of Benjamin did so, and took them wives, according to their number, of them that danced, whom they caught: and they went and returned unto their inheritance, and repaired the cities, and dwelt in them.

21:24 ±× ¶§¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ±× °÷À» ¶°³ª °¢°¢ ±× ÁöÆÄ, ±× °¡Á·¿¡°Ô·Î µ¹¾Æ°¡µÇ °ð °¢°¢ ±× °÷¿¡¼­ ³ª¿Í¼­ Àڱ⠱â¾÷À¸·Î µ¹¾Æ°¬´õ¶ó
21:24 Then the children of Israel went away from there, every man to his tribe and his family, every man went back to his heritage.
21:24 And the children of Israel departed thence at that time, every man to his tribe and to his family, and they went out from thence every man to his inheritance.

21:25 ¡Û ±× ¶§¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡ ¿ÕÀÌ ¾øÀ¸¹Ç·Î »ç¶÷ÀÌ °¢°¢ ±× ¼Ò°ß¿¡ ¿ÇÀº ´ë·Î ÇàÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
21:25 In those days there was no king in Israel: every man did what seemed right to him.
