1:1 ½½ÇÁ´Ù ÀÌ ¼ºÀÌ¿© º»·¡´Â °Å¹ÎÀÌ ¸¹´õ´Ï ÀÌÁ¦´Â ¾îÂî ±×¸® Àû¸·È÷ ¾É¾Ò´Â°í º»·¡´Â ¿­±¹ Áß¿¡ Å©´ø ÀÚ°¡ ÀÌÁ¦´Â °úºÎ °°°í º»·¡´Â ¿­¹æ Áß¿¡ °øÁÖ µÇ¾ú´ø ÀÚ°¡ ÀÌÁ¦´Â Á¶°ø µå¸®´Â ÀÚ°¡ µÇ¾úµµ´Ù
1:1 See her seated by herself, the town which was full of people! She who was great among the nations has become like a widow! She who was a princess among the countries has come under the yoke of forced work!
1:1 How does the city sit solitary, that was full of people! how is she become as a widow! she that was great among the nations, and princess among the provinces, how is she become tributary!

1:2 She is sorrowing bitterly in the night, and her face is wet with weeping; among all her lovers she has no comforter: all her friends have been false to her, they have become her haters.
1:2 She weeps sore in the night, and her tears are on her cheeks: among all her lovers she has none to comfort her: all her friends have dealt treacherously with her, they are become her enemies.

1:3 Judah has been taken away as a prisoner because of trouble and hard work; her living-place is among the nations, there is no rest for her: all her attackers have overtaken her in a narrow place.
1:3 Judah is gone into captivity because of affliction, and because of great servitude: she dwells among the heathen, she finds no rest: all her persecutors overtook her between the straits.

1:4 The ways of Zion are sad, because no one comes to the holy meeting; all her doorways are made waste, her priests are breathing out sorrow: her virgins are troubled, and it is bitter for her.
1:4 The ways of Zion do mourn, because none come to the solemn feasts: all her gates are desolate: her priests sigh, her virgins are afflicted, and she is in bitterness.

1:5 ÀúÀÇ ´ëÀûÀÌ ¸Ó¸®°¡ µÇ°í ÀúÀÇ ¿ø¼ö°¡ ÇüÅëÇÔÀº ÀúÀÇ ÁË°¡ ¸¹À¸¹Ç·Î ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ °ï°íÄÉ ÇϼÌÀ½À̶ó ¾î¸° ÀÚ³àµéÀÌ ´ëÀû¿¡°Ô »ç·ÎÀâÇûµµ´Ù
1:5 Those who are against her have become the head, everything goes well for her haters; for the Lord has sent sorrow on her because of the great number of her sins: her young children have gone away as prisoners before the attacker.
1:5 Her adversaries are the chief, her enemies prosper; for the LORD has afflicted her for the multitude of her transgressions: her children are gone into captivity before the enemy.

1:6 ó³à ½Ã¿ÂÀÇ ¸ðµç ¿µ±¤ÀÌ ¶°³ª°¨ÀÌ¿© ÀúÀÇ ¸ñ¹éÀº ²ÃÀ» ãÁö ¸øÇÑ »ç½¿ÀÌ ÂÑ´Â ÀÚ ¾Õ¿¡¼­ Èû¾øÀÌ ´Þ¸² °°µµ´Ù
1:6 And all her glory has gone from the daughter of Zion: her rulers have become like harts with no place for food, and they have gone in flight without strength before the attacker.
1:6 And from the daughter of Zion all her beauty is departed: her princes are become like harts that find no pasture, and they are gone without strength before the pursuer.

1:7 ¿¹·ç»ì·½ÀÌ È¯³­°ú ±º¹ÚÀ» ´çÇÏ´Â ³¯¿¡ ¿¾³¯ÀÇ ¸ðµç Áñ°Å¿òÀ» »ý°¢ÇÔÀÌ¿© ¹é¼ºÀÌ ´ëÀûÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ºüÁö³ª µ½´Â ÀÚ°¡ ¾ø°í ´ëÀûÀº º¸°í ±× ȲÀûÇÔÀ» ºñ¿ôµµ´Ù
1:7 Jerusalem keeps in mind, in the days of her sorrow and of her wanderings, all the desired things which were hers in days gone by; when her people came into the power of her hater and she had no helper, her attackers saw their desire effected on her and made sport of her destruction.
1:7 Jerusalem remembered in the days of her affliction and of her miseries all her pleasant things that she had in the days of old, when her people fell into the hand of the enemy, and none did help her: the adversaries saw her, and did mock at her sabbaths.

1:8 ¿¹·ç»ì·½ÀÌ Å©°Ô ¹üÁËÇϹǷΠºÒ°áÇÑ ÀÚ °°ÀÌ µÇ´Ï Àü¿¡ ³ôÀÌ´ø ¸ðµç ÀÚ°¡ ±× Àû½ÅÀ» º¸°í ¾÷½Å¿©±èÀÌ¿© Àú°¡ ź½ÄÇÏ¸ç ¹°·¯°¡µµ´Ù
1:8 Great is the sin of Jerusalem; for this cause she has become an unclean thing: all those who gave her honour are looking down on her, because they have seen her shame: now truly, breathing out grief, she is turned back.
1:8 Jerusalem has grievously sinned; therefore she is removed: all that honoured her despise her, because they have seen her nakedness: yea, she sighs, and turns backward.

1:9 ÀúÀÇ ´õ·¯¿òÀÌ ±× Ä¡¸¶¿¡ ÀÖÀ¸³ª °á±¹À» »ý°¢Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÔÀÌ¿© ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³î¶ø°Ô ³·¾ÆÁ®µµ À§·ÎÇÒ ÀÚ°¡ ¾øµµ´Ù ¿©È£¿Í¿© ¿ø¼ö°¡ ½º½º·Î Å« üÇÏ¿À´Ï ³ªÀÇ È¯³­À» °¨ÂûÇϼҼ­
1:9 In her skirts were her unclean ways; she gave no thought to her end; and her fall has been a wonder; she has no comforter: see her sorrow, O Lord; for the attacker is lifted up.
1:9 Her filthiness is in her skirts; she remembers not her last end; therefore she came down wonderfully: she had no comforter. O LORD, behold my affliction: for the enemy has magnified himself.

1:10 The hand of her hater is stretched out over all her desired things; for she has seen that the nations have come into her holy place, about whom you gave orders that they were not to come into the meeting of your people.
1:10 The adversary has spread out his hand upon all her pleasant things: for she has seen that the heathen entered into her sanctuary, whom you did command that they should not enter into your congregation.

1:11 Breathing out grief all her people are looking for bread; they have given their desired things for food to give them life: see, O Lord, and take note; for she has become a thing of shame.
1:11 All her people sigh, they seek bread; they have given their pleasant things for food to relieve the soul: see, O LORD, and consider; for I am become vile.

1:12 Come to me, all you who go by! Keep your eyes on me, and see if there is any pain like the pain of my wound, which the Lord has sent on me in the day of his burning wrath.
1:12 Is it nothing to you, all you that pass by? behold, and see if there be any sorrow like unto my sorrow, which is done unto me, wherewith the LORD has afflicted me in the day of his fierce anger.

1:13 From on high he has sent fire into my bones, and it has overcome them: his net is stretched out for my feet, I am turned back by him; he has made me waste and feeble all the day.
1:13 From above has he sent fire into my bones, and it prevails against them: he has spread a net for my feet, he has turned me back: he has made me desolate and faint all the day.

1:14 ³» Á˾ÇÀÇ ¸Û¿¡¸¦ ±× ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ¹­°í ¾ô¾î ³» ¸ñ¿¡ ¿Ã¸®»ç ³» ÈûÀ» ÇÇ°ïÄÉ ÇϼÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© ³»°¡ ´çÇÒ ¼ö ¾ø´Â ÀÚÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ ÁÖ²²¼­ ³ª¸¦ ºÙÀ̵̼µ´Ù
1:14 A watch is kept on my sins; they are joined together by his hand, they have come on to my neck; he has made my strength give way: the Lord has given me up into the hands of those against whom I have no power.
1:14 The yoke of my transgressions is bound by his hand: they are wreathed, and come up upon my neck: he has made my strength to fall, the LORD has delivered me into their hands, from whom I am not able to rise up.

1:15 ÁÖ²²¼­ ³» Áö°æ ¾È ¸ðµç ¿ë»ç¸¦ ¾ø´Â °Í °°ÀÌ ¿©±â½Ã°í ¼ºÈ¸¸¦ ¸ð¾Æ ³» ¼Ò³âµéÀ» ºÎ¼ö½ÉÀÌ¿© ó³à À¯´Ù¸¦ ¼úƲ¿¡ ¹âÀ¸¼Ìµµ´Ù
1:15 The Lord has made sport of all my men of war in me, he has got men together against me to send destruction on my young men: the virgin daughter of Judah has been crushed like grapes under the feet of the Lord.
1:15 The LORD has trodden under foot all my mighty men in the midst of me: he has called an assembly against me to crush my young men: the LORD has trodden the virgin, the daughter of Judah, as in a winepress.

1:16 À̸¦ ÀÎÇÏ¿© ³»°¡ ¿ì´Ï ³» ´«¿¡ ´«¹°ÀÌ ¹° °°ÀÌ È帧ÀÌ¿© ³ª¸¦ À§·ÎÇÏ¿© ³» ¿µÀ» ¼Ò¼º½Ãų ÀÚ°¡ ¸Ö¸® ¶°³µÀ½À̷δ٠¿ø¼öµéÀÌ À̱â¸Å ³» ÀÚ³àµéÀÌ ¿Ü·Óµµ´Ù
1:16 For these things I am weeping; my eye is streaming with water; because the comforter who might give me new life is far from me: my children are made waste, because the hater is strong.
1:16 For these things I weep; mine eye, mine eye runs down with water, because the comforter that should relieve my soul is far from me: my children are desolate, because the enemy prevailed.

1:17 ½Ã¿ÂÀÌ µÎ ¼ÕÀ» ÆñÀ¸³ª À§·ÎÇÒ ÀÚ°¡ ¾øµµ´Ù ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¾ß°öÀÇ »ç¸é¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ÀÚ¸¦ ¸íÇÏ¿© ¾ß°öÀÇ ´ëÀûÀÌ µÇ°Ô ÇϼÌÀ¸´Ï ¿¹·ç»ì·½Àº ÀúÈñ °¡¿îµ¥ ºÒ°áÇÑ ÀÚ °°µµ´Ù
1:17 Zion's hands are outstretched; she has no comforter; the Lord has given orders to the attackers of Jacob round about him: Jerusalem has become like an unclean thing among them.
1:17 Zion spreads forth her hands, and there is none to comfort her: the LORD has commanded concerning Jacob, that his adversaries should be round about him: Jerusalem is as a menstruous woman among them.

1:18 The Lord is upright; for I have gone against his orders: give ear, now, all you peoples, and see my pain, my virgins and my young men have gone away as prisoners.
1:18 The LORD is righteous; for I have rebelled against his commandment: hear, I pray you, all people, and behold my sorrow: my virgins and my young men are gone into captivity.

1:19 I sent for my lovers, but they were false to me: my priests and my responsible men were breathing their last breath in the town, while they were looking for food to give them new life.
1:19 I called for my lovers, but they deceived me: my priests and mine elders gave up the spirit in the city, while they sought their food to relieve their souls.

1:20 See, O Lord, for I am in trouble; the inmost parts of my body are deeply moved; my heart is turned in me; for I have been uncontrolled: outside the children are put to the sword, and in the house there is death.
1:20 Behold, O LORD; for I am in distress: my bowels are troubled; mine heart is turned within me; for I have grievously rebelled: abroad the sword bereaves, at home there is as death.

1:21 ÀúÈñ°¡ ³ªÀÇ Åº½ÄÀ» µé¾úÀ¸³ª ³ª¸¦ À§·ÎÇÏ´Â ÀÚ°¡ ¾ø°í ³ªÀÇ ¸ðµç ¿ø¼ö°¡ ³ªÀÇ Àç¾ÓÀ» µé¾úÀ¸³ª ÁÖ²²¼­ ÀÌ·¸°Ô ÇàÇϽÉÀ» ±â»µÇϳªÀÌ´Ù ÁÖ²²¼­ ¹ÝÆ÷ÇϽŠ³¯À» À̸£°Ô ÇϽø®´Ï ÀúÈñ°¡ ³ª¿Í °°ÀÌ µÇ°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
1:21 Give ear to the voice of my grief; I have no comforter; all my haters have news of my troubles, they are glad because you have done it: let the day of fate come when they will be like me.
1:21 They have heard that I sigh: there is none to comfort me: all mine enemies have heard of my trouble; they are glad that you have done it: you will bring the day that you have called, and they shall be like unto me.

1:22 Let all their evil-doing come before you; do to them as you have done to me for all my sins: for loud is the sound of my grief, and the strength of my heart is gone.
1:22 Let all their wickedness come before you; and do unto them, as you have done unto me for all my transgressions: for my sighs are many, and my heart is faint.

2:1 ½½ÇÁ´Ù ÁÖ²²¼­ ¾îÂî ±×¸® Áø³ëÇÏ»ç ó³à ½Ã¿ÂÀ» ±¸¸§À¸·Î µ¤À¸¼Ì´Â°í À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÇ ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î °ÍÀ» Çϴÿ¡¼­ ¶¥¿¡ ´øÁö¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© Áø³ëÇϽŠ³¯¿¡ ±× ¹ßµî»óÀ» ±â¾ïÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϼ̵µ´Ù
2:1 How has the daughter of Zion been covered with a cloud by the Lord in his wrath! he has sent down from heaven to earth the glory of Israel, and has not kept in memory the resting-place of his feet in the day of his wrath.
2:1 How has the LORD covered the daughter of Zion with a cloud in his anger, and cast down from heaven unto the earth the beauty of Israel, and remembered not his footstool in the day of his anger!

2:2 ÁÖ²²¼­ ¾ß°öÀÇ ¸ðµç °Åó¸¦ »ïÅ°½Ã°í ±àÈáÈ÷ ¿©±âÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϼÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© ³ëÇÏ»ç ó³à À¯´ÙÀÇ °ß°íÇÑ ¼ºÀ» Çæ¾î ¶¥¿¡ ¾þÀ¸½Ã°í ³ª¶ó¿Í ¹æ¹éÀ¸·Î ¿åµÇ°Ô Çϼ̵µ´Ù
2:2 The Lord has given up to destruction all the living-places of Jacob without pity; pulling down in his wrath the strong places of the daughter of Judah, stretching out on the earth the wounded, even her king and her rulers.
2:2 The LORD has swallowed up all the habitations of Jacob, and has not pitied: he has thrown down in his wrath the strong holds of the daughter of Judah; he has brought them down to the ground: he has polluted the kingdom and the princes thereof.

2:3 ¸Í·ÄÇÑ Áø³ë·Î À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¸ðµç »ÔÀ» ÀÚ¸£¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© ¿ø¼ö ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¿À¸¥¼ÕÀ» °ÅµÎ½Ã°í ¸Í·ÄÇÑ ºÒÀÌ »ç¹æÀ¸·Î »ç¸§ °°ÀÌ ¾ß°öÀ» »ç¸£¼Ìµµ´Ù
2:3 In his burning wrath every horn of Israel has been cut off; his right hand has been turned back before the attacker: he has put a fire in Jacob, causing destruction round about.
2:3 He has cut off in his fierce anger all the horn of Israel: he has drawn back his right hand from before the enemy, and he burned against Jacob like a flaming fire, which devours round about.

2:4 ¿ø¼ö °°ÀÌ È°À» ´ç±â°í ´ëÀûó·³ ¿À¸¥¼ÕÀ» µé°í ¼­¼­ ´«¿¡ ¾Æ¸§´Ù¿î ¸ðµç ÀÚ¸¦ »ì·úÇϼÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© ó³à ½Ã¿ÂÀÇ À帷¿¡ ³ë¸¦ ºÒó·³ ½ñÀ¸¼Ìµµ´Ù
2:4 His bow has been bent for the attack, he has taken his place with his hand ready, in his hate he has put to death all who were pleasing to the eye: on the tent of the daughter of Zion he has let loose his passion like fire.
2:4 He has bent his bow like an enemy: he stood with his right hand as an adversary, and slew all that were pleasant to the eye in the tabernacle of the daughter of Zion: he poured out his fury like fire.

2:5 ÁÖ²²¼­ ¿ø¼ö °°ÀÌ µÇ¾î À̽º¶ó¿¤À» »ïÅ°¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ¿© ¸ðµç ±ÃÀ» »ïÅ°¼Ì°í °ß°íÇÑ ¼ºµéÀ» ÈÑÆÄÇÏ»ç ó³à À¯´Ù¿¡ ±Ù½É°ú ¾ÖÅëÀ» ´õÇϼ̵µ´Ù
2:5 The Lord has become like one fighting against her, sending destruction on Israel; he has sent destruction on all her great houses, making waste his strong places: increasing the grief and the sorrow of the daughter of Judah.
2:5 The LORD was as an enemy: he has swallowed up Israel, he has swallowed up all her palaces: he has destroyed his strong holds, and has increased in the daughter of Judah mourning and lamentation.

2:6 ¼º¸·À» µ¿»êÀÇ Ãʸ· °°ÀÌ Çæ¾î ¹ö¸®½Ã¸ç °øȸ ó¼Ò¸¦ ÈÑÆÄÇϼ̵µ´Ù ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ½Ã¿Â °¡¿îµ¥¼­ Àý±â¿Í ¾È½ÄÀÏÀ» Àؾî¹ö¸®°Ô ÇϽøç Áø³ëÇÏ»ç ¿Õ°ú Á¦»çÀåÀ» ¸ê½ÃÇϼ̵µ´Ù
2:6 And he has violently taken away his tent, as from a garden; he has made waste his meeting-place: the Lord has taken away the memory of feast and Sabbath in Zion, and in the passion of his wrath he is against king and priest.

2:7 The Lord has given up his altar and has been turned in hate from his holy place; he has given up into the hands of the attacker the walls of her great houses: their voices have been loud in the house of the Lord as in the day of a holy meeting.
2:7 The LORD has cast off his altar, he has abhorred his sanctuary, he has given up into the hand of the enemy the walls of her palaces; they have made a noise in the house of the LORD, as in the day of a solemn feast.

2:8 It is the Lord's purpose to make waste the wall of the daughter of Zion; his line has been stretched out, he has not kept back his hand from destruction: he has sent sorrow on tower and wall, they have become feeble together.
2:8 The LORD has purposed to destroy the wall of the daughter of Zion: he has stretched out a line, he has not withdrawn his hand from destroying: therefore he made the rampart and the wall to lament; they languished together.

2:9 Her doors have gone down into the earth; he has sent destruction on her locks: her king and her princes are among the nations where the law is not; even her prophets have had no vision from the Lord.
2:9 Her gates are sunk into the ground; he has destroyed and broken her bars: her king and her princes are among the Gentiles: the law is no more; her prophets also find no vision from the LORD.

2:10 The responsible men of the daughter of Zion are seated on the earth without a word; they have put dust on their heads, they are clothed in haircloth: the heads of the virgins of Jerusalem are bent down to the earth.
2:10 The elders of the daughter of Zion sit upon the ground, and keep silence: they have cast up dust upon their heads; they have girded themselves with sackcloth: the virgins of Jerusalem hang down their heads to the ground.

2:11 My eyes are wasted with weeping, the inmost parts of my body are deeply moved, my inner parts are drained out on the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because of the young children and babies at the breast who are falling without strength in the open squares of the town.
2:11 Mine eyes do fail with tears, my bowels are troubled, my liver is poured upon the earth, for the destruction of the daughter of my people; because the children and the infants swoon in the streets of the city.
