1:1 다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 왕위가 견고하여 가며 그 하나님 여호와께서 저와 함께
하사 심히 창대케 하시니라
1:1 And Solomon, the son of David, made himself strong in his kingdom, and the Lord
his God was with him, and made him very great.
1:1 And Solomon the son of David was strengthened in his kingdom, and the
LORD his God was with him, and magnified him exceedingly.
1:2 솔로몬이 온 이스라엘의 천부장과 백부장과 재판관과 온 이스라엘의 각 방백과
족장들을 명하고
1:2 And Solomon sent word to all Israel, to the captains of thousands and of hundreds
and to the judges and to every chief in all Israel, heads of their families.
1:2 Then Solomon spoke unto all Israel, to the captains of thousands and
of hundreds, and to the judges, and to every governor in all Israel, the chief
of the fathers.
1:3 온 회중과 함께 기브온 산당으로 갔으니 하나님의 회막 곧 여호와의 종 모세가
광야에서 지은 것이 거기 있음이라
1:3 Then Solomon, and all the men of Israel with him, went to the high place at Gibeon,
because the Tent of meeting of God, which Moses, the servant of the Lord, had made
in the waste land, was there.
1:3 So Solomon, and all the congregation with him, went to the high place
that was at Gibeon; for there was the tabernacle of the congregation of God,
which Moses the servant of the LORD had made in the wilderness.
1:4 다윗이 전에 예루살렘에서 하나님의 궤를 위하여 장막을 쳤었으므로 그 궤는
다윗이 이미 기럇여아림에서부터 위하여 예비한 곳으로 메어 올렸고
1:4 But the ark of God had been moved by David from Kiriath-jearim to the place which
he had made ready for it, for he had put up a tent for it at Jerusalem.
1:4 But the ark of God had David brought up from Kirjathjearim to the place
which David had prepared for it: for he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
1:5 옛적에 훌의 손자 우리의 아들 브사렐의 지은 놋 단은 여호와의 장막 앞에
있더라 솔로몬이 회중으로 더불어 나아가서
1:5 And the altar of brass which Bezalel, the son of Uri, the son of Hur, had made,
was there before the Tent of the Lord; and Solomon and all the people went to give
worship there.
1:5 Moreover the brazen altar, that Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur,
had made, he put before the tabernacle of the LORD: and Solomon and the congregation
sought unto it.
1:6 여호와 앞 곧 회막 앞에 있는 놋 단에 이르러 그 위에 일천 희생으로 번제를
드렸더라
1:6 And Solomon went up there to the brass altar before the Lord at the Tent of meeting,
offering on it a thousand burned offerings.
1:6 And Solomon went up thither to the brazen altar before the LORD, which
was at the tabernacle of the congregation, and offered a thousand burnt offerings
upon it.
1:7 ○ 이 밤에 하나님이 솔로몬에게 나타나사 이르시되 내가 네게 무엇을 줄꼬
너는 구하라
1:7 In that night God came to Solomon in a vision, and said to him, Say what I am to
give you.
1:7 In that night did God appear unto Solomon, and said unto him, Ask what
I shall give you.
1:8 솔로몬이 하나님께 여짜오되 주께서 전에 큰 은혜를 나의 아비
다윗에게 베푸시고 나로 대신하여 왕이 되게 하셨사오니
1:8 And Solomon said to God, Great was your mercy to David my father, and you have made
me king in his place.
1:8 And Solomon said unto God, You have showed great mercy unto David my
father, and have made me to reign in his position.
1:9 여호와 하나님이여 원컨대 주는 내 아비 다윗에게 허하신 것을 이제 굳게
하옵소서 주께서 나로 땅의 티끌 같이 많은 백성의 왕을 삼으셨사오니
1:9 Now, O Lord God, let your word to David my father come true; for you have made me
king over a people like the dust of the earth in number.
1:9 Now, O LORD God, let your promise unto David my father be established:
for you have made me king over a people like the dust of the earth in multitude.
1:10 주는 이제 내게 지혜와 지식을 주사 이 백성 앞에서 출입하게 하옵소서 이렇게
많은 주의 백성을 누가 능히 재판하리이까
1:10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, so that I may go out and come in before this people:
for who is able to be the judge of this great people of yours?
1:10 Give me now wisdom and knowledge, that I may go out and come in before
this people: for who can judge this your people, that is so great?
1:11 하나님이 솔로몬에게 이르시되 이런 마음이 네게 있어서 부나 재물이나 존영이나
원수의 생명 멸하기를 구하지 아니하며 장수도 구하지 아니하고 오직 내가 너로 치리하게
한 내 백성을 재판하기 위하여 지혜와 지식을 구하였으니
1:11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in your heart, and you did not make request
for money, property, or honour, or for the destruction of your haters, or for long
life; but you have made request for wisdom and knowledge for yourself, so that you
may be the judge of my people over whom I have made you king:
1:11 And God said to Solomon, Because this was in yours heart, and you have
not asked riches, wealth, or honour, nor the life of yours enemies, neither
yet have asked long life; but have asked wisdom and knowledge for yourself,
that you may judge my people, over whom I have made you king:
1:12 그러므로 내가 네게 지혜와 지식을 주고 부와 재물과 존영도 주리니 너의
전의 왕들이 이 같음이 없었거니와 너의 후에도 이 같음이 없으리라
1:12 Wisdom and knowledge are given to you; and I will give you wealth and honour, such
as no king has had before you or ever will have after you.
1:12 Wisdom and knowledge is granted unto you; and I will give you riches,
and wealth, and honour, such as none of the kings have had that have been before
you, neither shall there any after you have the like.
1:13 이에 솔로몬이 기브온 산당 회막 앞에서부터 예루살렘으로 돌아와서 이스라엘을
치리하였더라
1:13 So Solomon went back from the high place at Gibeon, from before the Tent of meeting,
to Jerusalem; and he was king over Israel.
1:13 Then Solomon came from his journey to the high place that was at Gibeon
to Jerusalem, from before the tabernacle of the congregation, and reigned over
Israel.
1:14 ○ 솔로몬이 병거와 마병을 모으매 병거가 일천 사백이요 마병이 일만 이천이라
병거성에도 두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며
1:14 And Solomon got together war-carriages and horsemen; he had one thousand, four hundred
carriages and twelve thousand horsemen, which he kept, some in the carriage-towns
and some with the king at Jerusalem.
1:14 And Solomon gathered chariots and horsemen: and he had a thousand and
four hundred chariots, and twelve thousand horsemen, which he placed in the
chariot cities, and with the king at Jerusalem.
1:15 왕이 예루살렘에서 은금을 돌 같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이 많게 하였더라
1:15 And the king made silver and gold as common as stones in Jerusalem, and cedar like
the sycamore-trees of the lowland in number.
1:15 And the king made silver and gold at Jerusalem as abundant as stones,
and cedar trees made he as the sycomore trees that are in the vale for abundance.
1:16 솔로몬의 말들은 애굽에서 내어왔으니 왕의 상고들이 떼로 정가하여 산
것이며
1:16 And Solomon's horses came out of Egypt; the king's traders got them from Kue at
a price.
1:16 And Solomon had horses brought out of Egypt, and linen yarn: the king's
merchants received the linen yarn at a price.
1:17 애굽에서 내어올린 병거는 하나에 은 육백 세겔이요 말은 일백 오십 세겔이라
이와 같이 헷 사람의 모든 왕과 아람 왕들을 위하여도 그 손으로 내어왔었더라
1:17 A war-carriage might be got from Egypt for six hundred shekels of silver, and a
horse for a hundred and fifty: they got them at the same rate for all the kings
of the Hittites and the kings of Aram.
1:17 And they fetched up, and brought forth out of Egypt a chariot for six
hundred shekels of silver, and an horse for an hundred and fifty: and so brought
they out horses for all the kings of the Hittites, and for the kings of Syria,
by their means.
2:1 솔로몬이 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하고 자기 권영을 위하여 궁궐
건축하기를 결심하니라
2:1 Now it was Solomon's purpose to put up a house for the name of the Lord and a house
for himself as king.
2:1 And Solomon determined to build an house for the name of the LORD, and
an house for his kingdom.
2:2 솔로몬이 이에 담군 칠만과 산에 올라 작벌할 자 팔만과 일을 감독할 자 삼천
육백을 뽑고
2:2 And Solomon had seventy thousand men numbered for transport, and eighty thousand
for cutting stone in the mountains, and three thousand, six hundred as overseers.
2:2 And Solomon told out threescore and ten thousand men to bear burdens,
and fourscore thousand to hew in the mountain, and three thousand and six hundred
to oversee them.
2:3 사자를 두로 왕 후람에게 보내어 이르되 당신이 전에 내 부친 다윗에게 백향목을
보내어 그 거할 궁궐을 건축하게 한 것 같이 내게도 그리하소서
2:3 And Solomon sent to Huram, king of Tyre, saying, As you did for my father David,
sending him cedar-trees for the building of his house,
2:3 And Solomon sent to Huram the king of Tyre, saying, As you did deal with
David my father, and did send him cedars to build him an house to dwell therein,
even so deal with me.
2:4 이제 내가 나의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하여 구별하여 드리고
주 앞에서 향 재료를 사르며 항상 떡을 진설하며 안식일과 초하루와 우리 하나님
여호와의 절기에 조석으로 번제를 드리려 하니 이는 이스라엘의 영원한 규례니이다
2:4 See! I am building a house for the name of the Lord my God, to be made holy to him,
where perfumes of sweet spices will be burned before him, and the holy bread will
be placed at all times, and burned offerings will be offered morning and evening,
on the Sabbaths and at the new moons, and on the regular feasts of the Lord our
God. This is a law for ever to Israel.
2:4 Behold, I build an house to the name of the LORD my God, to dedicate
it to him, and to burn before him sweet incense, and for the continual showbread,
and for the burnt offerings morning and evening, on the sabbaths, and on the
new moons, and on the solemn feasts of the LORD our God. This is an ordinance
for ever to Israel.
2:5 내가 건축하고자 하는 전은 크니 우리 하나님은 모든 신보다 크심이라
2:5 And the house which I am building is to be great, for our God is greater than all
gods.
2:5 And the house which I build is great: for great is our God above all
gods.
2:6 누가 능히 하나님을 위하여 전을 건축하리요 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘이라도
주를 용납지 못하겠거든 내가 누구관대 어찌 능히 위하여 전을 건축하리요 그 앞에
분향하려 할 따름이니이다
2:6 But who may have strength enough to make a house for him, seeing that the heaven
and the heaven of heavens are not wide enough to be his resting-place? who am I
then to make a house for him? But I am building it only for the burning of perfume
before him.
2:6 But who is able to build him an house, seeing the heaven and heaven of
heavens cannot contain him? who am I then, that I should build him an house,
save only to burn sacrifice before him?
2:7 이제 청컨대 당신은 금, 은, 동, 철로 제조하며 자색 홍색 청색 실로 직조하며
또 아로새길 줄 아는 공교한 공장 하나를 내게 보내어 내 부친 다윗이 유다와 예루살렘에서
예비한 나의 공교한 공장과 함께 일하게 하고
2:7 So now send me an expert worker in gold and silver and brass and iron? in purple
and red and blue, and in the cutting of all sorts of ornament, to be with the expert
workmen who are here in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom my father David got together.
2:7 Send me now therefore a man cunning to work in gold, and in silver, and
in brass, and in iron, and in purple, and crimson, and blue, and that can skill
to grave with the cunning men that are with me in Judah and in Jerusalem, whom
David my father did provide.
2:8 또 레바논에서 백향목과 잣나무와 백단목을 내게로 보내소서 내가 알거니와
당신의 종은 레바논에서 벌목을 잘하나니 내 종이 당신의 종을 도울지라
2:8 And send me cedar-trees, cypress-trees and sandal-wood from Lebanon, for, to my
knowledge, your servants are expert wood-cutters in Lebanon; and my servants will
be with yours,
2:8 Send me also cedar trees, fir trees, and algum trees, out of Lebanon:
for I know that your servants can skill to cut timber in Lebanon; and, behold,
my servants shall be with your servants,
2:9 이와 같이 나를 위하여 재목을 많이 예비하게 하소서 내가 건축하려 하는
전은 크고 화려할 것이니이다
2:9 To get trees for me in great numbers, for the house which I am building is to be
great and a wonder.
2:9 Even to prepare me timber in abundance: for the house which I am about
to build shall be wonderful great.
2:10 내가 당신의 벌목하는 종에게 용정한 밀 이만 석과 보리 이만 석과 포도주
이만 말과 기름 이만 말을 주리이다 하였더라
2:10 And I will give as food to your servants, the wood-cutters, twenty thousand measures
of grain, and twenty thousand measures of barley and twenty thousand measures of
wine and twenty thousand measures of oil.
2:10 And, behold, I will give to your servants, the hewers that cut timber,
twenty thousand measures of beaten wheat, and twenty thousand measures of barley,
and twenty thousand baths of wine, and twenty thousand baths of oil.
2:11 ○ 두로 왕 후람이 솔로몬에게 답장하여 가로되 여호와께서 그 백성을 사랑하시므로
당신을 세워 그 왕을 삼으셨도다
2:11 Then Huram, king of Tyre, sent Solomon an answer in writing, saying, Because of
his love for his people the Lord has made you king over them.
2:11 Then Huram the king of Tyre answered in writing, which he sent to Solomon,
Because the LORD has loved his people, he has made you king over them.
2:12 또 가로되 천지를 지으신 이스라엘 하나님 여호와는 송축을 받으실지로다
다윗 왕에게 지혜로운 아들을 주시고 명철과 총명을 품부하시사 능히 여호와를 위하여
전을 건축하고 자기 권영을 위하여 궁궐을 건축하게 하시도다
2:12 And Huram said, Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, maker of heaven and earth,
who has given to David the king a wise son, full of wisdom and good sense, to be
the builder of a house for the Lord and a house for himself as king.
2:12 Huram said moreover, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, that made heaven
and earth, who has given to David the king a wise son, imbued with prudence
and understanding, that might build an house for the LORD, and an house for
his kingdom.
2:13 내가 이제 공교하고 총명한 사람을 보내오니 전에 내 부친 후람에게 속하였던
자라
2:13 And now I am sending you a wise and expert man, Huram who is as my father,
2:13 And now I have sent a cunning man, imbued with understanding, of Huram
my father's,
2:14 이 사람은 단의 여자 중 한 여인의 아들이요 그 아비는 두로 사람이라 능히
금, 은, 동, 철과 돌과 나무와 자색 청색 홍색 실과 가는 베로 일을 잘하며 또 모든
아로새기는 일에 익숙하고 모든 기묘한 식양에 능한 자니 당신의 공교한 공장과 당신의
부친 내 주 다윗의 공교한 공장과 함께 일하게 하소서
2:14 The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, whose father was a man of Tyre, an expert
worker in gold and silver and brass and iron, in stone and wood, in purple and blue
and fair linen and red, trained in the cutting of every sort of ornament and the
invention of every sort of design; let him be given a place among your expert workmen
and those of my lord, your father David.
2:14 The son of a woman of the daughters of Dan, and his father was a man
of Tyre, skilful to work in gold, and in silver, in brass, in iron, in stone,
and in timber, in purple, in blue, and in fine linen, and in crimson; also to
grave any manner of graving, and to find out every device which shall be put
to him, with your cunning men, and with the cunning men of my lord David your
father.
2:15 내 주의 말씀하신 밀과 보리와 기름과 포도주는 주의 종들에게 보내소서
2:15 So now let my lord send to his servants the grain and the oil and the wine as my
lord has said;
2:15 Now therefore the wheat, and the barley, the oil, and the wine, which
my lord has spoken of, let him send unto his servants:
2:16 우리가 레바논에서 당신의 쓰실 만큼 벌목하여 떼를 엮어 바다에 띄워 욥바로
보내리니 당신은 수운하여 예루살렘으로 올리소서 하였더라
2:16 And we will have wood cut from Lebanon, as much as you have need of, and will send
it to you on flat boats by sea to Joppa, and from there you may take it up to Jerusalem.
2:16 And we will cut wood out of Lebanon, as much as you shall need: and
we will bring it to you in rafts by sea to Joppa; and you shall carry it up
to Jerusalem.
2:17 ○ 전에 솔로몬의 부친 다윗이 이스라엘 땅에 거한 이방 사람을 조사하였더니
이제 솔로몬이 다시 조사하매 모두 십오만 삼천 육백 인이라
2:17 Then Solomon took the number of all the men from strange lands who were living in
Israel, as his father David had done; there were a hundred and fifty-three thousand,
six hundred.
2:17 And Solomon numbered all the strangers that were in the land of Israel,
after the numbering wherewith David his father had numbered them; and they were
found an hundred and fifty thousand and three thousand and six hundred.
2:18 그 중에 칠만 인은 담군이 되게 하였고 팔만 인은 산에서 벌목하게 하였고
삼천 육백 인은 감독을 삼아 백성들에게 일을 시키게 하였더라
2:18 Seventy thousand he put to the work of transport, eighty thousand to cutting stone
in the mountains, and three thousand, six hundred as overseers to put the people
to work.
2:18 And he set threescore and ten thousand of them to be bearers of burdens,
and fourscore thousand to be hewers in the mountain, and three thousand and
six hundred overseers to set the people a work.
3:1 솔로몬이 예루살렘 모리아 산에 여호와의 전 건축하기를 시작하니 그 곳은 전에
여호와께서 그 아비 다윗에게 나타나신 곳이요 여부스 사람 오르난의 타작 마당에
다윗이 정한 곳이라
3:1 Then Solomon made a start at building the house of the Lord on Mount Moriah in Jerusalem,
where the Lord had been seen by his father David, in the place which David had made
ready in the grain-floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
3:1 Then Solomon began to build the house of the LORD at Jerusalem in mount
Moriah, where the Lord appeared unto David his father, in the place that David
had prepared in the threshing floor of Ornan the Jebusite.
3:2 솔로몬이 왕위에 나아간 지 사 년 이 월 초 이 일에 건축하기를 시작하였더라
3:2 The building was started in the second month in the fourth year of his rule.
3:2 And he began to build in the second day of the second month, in the fourth
year of his reign.
3:3 솔로몬이 하나님의 전을 위하여 놓은 지대는 이러하니 옛적 재는 법대로 장이
육십 규빗이요 광이 이십 규빗이며
3:3 And Solomon put the base of the house of God in position; by the older measure it
was sixty cubits long and twenty cubits wide.
3:3 Now these are the things wherein Solomon was instructed for the building
of the house of God. The length by cubits after the first measure was threescore
cubits, and the breadth twenty cubits.
3:4 그 전 앞 낭실의 장이 전의 광과 같이 이십 규빗이요 고가 일백 이십 규빗이니
안에는 정금으로 입혔으며
3:4 And the covered way in front of the house was twenty cubits long, as wide as the
house, and a hundred and twenty cubits high, all plated inside with the best gold.
3:4 And the porch that was in the front of the house, the length of it was
according to the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the height was an
hundred and twenty: and he overlaid it within with pure gold.
3:5 그 대전 천장은 잣나무로 만들고 또 정금으로 입히고 그 위에 종려나무와
사슬 형상을 새겼고
3:5 And the greater house was roofed with cypress-wood, plated with the best gold and
ornamented with designs of palm-trees and chains.
3:5 And the greater house he covered over with fir tree, which he overlaid
with fine gold, and set thereon palm trees and chains.
3:6 또 보석으로 전을 꾸며 화려하게 하였으니 그 금은 바르와임 금이며
3:6 And the house was made beautiful with stones of great value, and the gold was gold
of Parvaim.
3:6 And he garnished the house with precious stones for beauty: and the gold
was gold of Parvaim.
3:7 또 금으로 전과 그 들보와 문지방과 벽과 문짝에 입히고 벽에 그룹들을 아로새겼더라
3:7 All the house was plated with gold, the supports, the steps, the walls and the doors;
and the walls were ornamented with designs of winged ones.
3:7 He overlaid also the house, the beams, the posts, and the walls thereof,
and the doors thereof, with gold; and graved cherubims on the walls.
3:8 ○ 또 지성소를 지었으니 전 넓이대로 장이 이십 규빗이요 광도 이십 규빗이라
정금 육백 달란트로 입혔으니
3:8 And he made the most holy place; it was twenty cubits long, and twenty cubits wide,
like the greater house, and was plated all over with the best gold; six hundred
talents were used for it.
3:8 And he made the most holy house, the length whereof was according to
the breadth of the house, twenty cubits, and the breadth thereof twenty cubits:
and he overlaid it with fine gold, amounting to six hundred talents.
3:9 못 중수가 오십 금 세겔이요 다락들도 금으로 입혔더라
3:9 And fifty shekels weight of gold was used for the nails. He had all the higher rooms
plated with gold.
3:9 And the weight of the nails was fifty shekels of gold. And he overlaid
the upper chambers with gold.
3:10 ○ 지성소 안에 두 그룹의 형상을 새겨 만들어 금으로 입혔으니
3:10 And in the most holy place he made images of two winged beings, covering them with
gold.
3:10 And in the most holy house he made two cherubims of image work, and
overlaid them with gold.
3:11 두 그룹의 날개 길이가 모두 이십 규빗이라 좌편 그룹의 한 날개는 다섯
규빗이니 전 벽에 닿았고 그 한 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 우편 그룹의 날개에 닿았으며
3:11 Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; one wing, five cubits long,
touching the wall of the house, and the other, of the same size, meeting the wing
of the other winged one.
3:11 And the wings of the cherubims were twenty cubits long: one wing of
the one cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall of the house: and the other
wing was likewise five cubits, reaching to the wing of the other cherub.
3:12 우편 그룹의 한 날개도 다섯 규빗이니 전 벽에 닿았고 그 한 날개도 다섯
규빗이니 좌편 그룹의 날개에 닿았으니
3:12 And in the same way, the wings of the other, five cubits long, were stretched out,
one touching the wall and the other meeting the wing of the first winged one.
3:12 And one wing of the other cherub was five cubits, reaching to the wall
of the house: and the other wing was five cubits also, joining to the wing of
the other cherub.
3:13 이 두 그룹의 편 날개가 모두 이십 규빗이라 그 얼굴을 외소로 향하고 서
있으며
3:13 Their outstretched wings were twenty cubits across; they were placed upright on
their feet, facing the inner part of the house.
3:13 The wings of these cherubims spread themselves forth twenty cubits:
and they stood on their feet, and their faces were inward.
3:14 청색 자색 홍색 실과 고운 베로 문장을 짓고 그 위에 그룹의 형상을 수 놓았더라
3:14 And he made the veil of blue and purple and red, of the best linen, worked with
winged ones.
3:14 And he made the vail of blue, and purple, and crimson, and fine linen,
and wrought cherubims thereon.
3:15 전 앞에 기둥 둘을 만들었으니 고가 삼십 오 규빗이요 각 기둥 꼭대기의
머리가 다섯 규빗이라
3:15 And in front of the house he made two pillars, thirty-five cubits high, with crowns
on the tops of them, five cubits high.
3:15 Also he made before the house two pillars of thirty and five cubits
high, and the capital that was on the top of each of them was five cubits.
3:16 성소 같이 사슬을 만들어 그 기둥 머리에 두르고 석류 일백 개를 만들어 사슬에
달았으며
3:16 And he made chains, like neck ornaments, and put them on the tops of the pillars,
and a hundred apples on the chains.
3:16 And he made chains, as in the oracle, and put them on the heads of the
pillars; and made an hundred pomegranates, and put them on the chains.
3:17 그 두 기둥을 외소 앞에 세웠으니 좌편에 하나요 우편에 하나라 우편 것은
야긴이라 칭하고 좌편 것은 보아스라 칭하였더라
3:17 He put up the pillars in front of the Temple, one on the right side and one on the
left, naming the one on the right Jachin and that on the left Boaz.
3:17 And he reared up the pillars before the temple, one on the right hand,
and the other on the left; and called the name of that on the right hand Jachin,
and the name of that on the left Boaz.
4:1 솔로몬이 또 놋으로 단을 만들었으니 장이 이십 규빗이요 광이 이십 규빗이요
고가 십 규빗이며
4:1 Then he made a brass altar, twenty cubits long, twenty cubits wide and ten cubits
high.
4:1 Moreover he made an altar of brass, twenty cubits the length thereof,
and twenty cubits the breadth thereof, and ten cubits the height thereof.
4:2 또 바다를 부어 만들었으니 직경이 십 규빗이요 그 모양이 둥글며 그 고는
다섯 규빗이요 주위는 삼십 규빗 줄을 두를 만하며
4:2 And he made the great water-vessel of metal, round in form, measuring ten cubits
across from edge to edge; it was five cubits high and thirty cubits round.
4:2 Also he made a molten sea of ten cubits from brim to brim, round in compass,
and five cubits the height thereof; and a line of thirty cubits did compass
it round about.
4:3 그 가장자리 아래에는 돌아가며 소 형상이 있는데 매 규빗에 소가 열씩 있어서
바다 주위에 둘렸으니 그 소는 바다를 부어 만들 때에 두 줄로 부어 만들었으며
4:3 And under it was a design of flowers all round it, ten to a cubit, circling the
water-vessel in two lines; they were made from liquid metal at the same time as
the water-vessel.
4:3 And under it was the embodiment of oxen, which did compass it round about:
ten in a cubit, compassing the sea round about. Two rows of oxen were cast,
when it was cast.
4:4 그 바다를 열 두 소가 받쳤으니 셋은 북을 향하였고 셋은 서를 향하였고 셋은
남을 향하였고 셋은 동을 향하였으며 바다를 그 위에 놓았고 소의 뒤는 다 안으로
두었으며
4:4 It was supported on twelve oxen, three facing to the north, three to the west, three
to the south, and three to the east, the water-vessel resting on top of them; their
back parts were all turned to the middle of it.
4:4 It stood upon twelve oxen, three looking toward the north, and three
looking toward the west, and three looking toward the south, and three looking
toward the east: and the sea was set above upon them, and all their hinder parts
were inward.
4:5 바다의 두께는 한 손넓이 만하고 그 가는 백합화의 식양으로 잔 가와 같이
만들었으니 그 바다에는 삼천 밧을 담겠으며
4:5 It was as thick as a man's open hand, and the edge of it was curved like the edge
of a cup, like a lily flower; it would take three thousand baths.
4:5 And the thickness of it was an handbreadth, and the brim of it like the
work of the brim of a cup, with flowers of lilies; and it received and held
three thousand baths.
4:6 또 물두멍 열을 만들어 다섯은 우편에 두고 다섯은 좌편에 두어 씻게 하되
번제에 속한 물건을 거기 씻게 하였으며 그 바다는 제사장들의 씻기를 위한 것이더라
4:6 And he made ten washing-vessels, putting five on the right side and five on the
left; such things as were used in making the burned offering were washed in them;
but the great water-vessel was to be used by the priests for washing themselves.
4:6 He made also ten lavers, and put five on the right hand, and five on
the left, to wash in them: such things as they offered for the burnt offering
they washed in them; but the sea was for the priests to wash in.
4:7 ○ 또 정식을 따라 금으로 등대 열을 만들어 외소 안에 두었으니 좌편에 다섯이요
우편에 다섯이며
4:7 And he made the ten gold supports for the lights, as directions had been given for
them, and he put them in the Temple, five on the right side and five on the left.
4:7 And he made ten candlesticks of gold according to their form, and set
them in the temple, five on the right hand, and five on the left.
4:8 또 상 열을 만들어 외소 안에 두었으니 좌편에 다섯이요 우편에 다섯이며
또 금으로 대접 일백을 만들었고
4:8 He made ten tables, and put them in the Temple, five on the right side and five
on the left. And he made a hundred gold basins.
4:8 He made also ten tables, and placed them in the temple, five on the right
side, and five on the left. And he made an hundred basons of gold.
4:9 또 제사장의 뜰과 큰 뜰과 뜰문을 만들고 놋으로 그 문짝에 입혔고
4:9 Then he made the open space for the priests, and the great open space and its doors,
plating the doors with brass.
4:9 Furthermore he made the court of the priests, and the great court, and
doors for the court, and overlaid the doors of them with brass.
4:10 그 바다는 전 우편 동남방에 두었더라
4:10 He put the great water-vessel on the right side of the house to the east, facing
south.
4:10 And he set the sea on the right side of the east end, opposite to the
south.
4:11 ○ 후람이 또 솥과 부삽과 대접을 만들었더라 이와 같이 후람이 솔로몬 왕을
위하여 하나님의 전에서 하는 일을 마쳤으니
4:11 And Huram made all the pots and the spades and the basins. So he came to the end
of all the work he did for King Solomon in the house of God:
4:11 And Huram made the pots, and the shovels, and the basons. And Huram
finished the work that he was to make for king Solomon for the house of God;
4:12 곧 기둥 둘과 그 기둥 꼭대기의 공 같은 머리 둘과 또 기둥 꼭대기의 공
같은 기둥 머리를 가리우는 그물 둘과
4:12 The two pillars, and the two crowns on the tops of the pillars, and the network
covering the two cups of the crowns on the tops of the pillars;
4:12 To know, the two pillars, and the pommels, and the capitals which were
on the top of the two pillars, and the two wreaths to cover the two pommels
of the capitals which were on the top of the pillars;
4:13 또 그 그물들을 위하여 만든 바 매 그물에 두 줄씩으로 기둥 위의 공 같은
두 머리를 가리우게 한 사백 석류와
4:13 And the four hundred apples for the network, two lines of apples for the network
covering the two cups of the crowns on the pillars.
4:13 And four hundred pomegranates on the two wreaths; two rows of pomegranates
on each wreath, to cover the two pommels of the capitals which were upon the
pillars.
4:14 또 받침과 받침 위의 물두멍과
4:14 And he made the ten bases and the ten washing-vessels which were on the bases;
4:14 He made also bases, and lavers made he upon the bases;
4:15 한 바다와 그 바다 아래 열 두 소와
4:15 The great water-vessel with the twelve oxen under it.
4:15 One sea, and twelve oxen under it.
4:16 솥과 부삽과 고기 갈고리와 여호와의 전의 모든 그릇들이라 후람의 아비가
솔로몬 왕을 위하여 빛난 놋으로 만들 때에
4:16 All the pots and the spades and the meat-hooks and their vessels, which Huram, who
was as his father, made for King Solomon for the house of the Lord, were of polished
brass.
4:16 The pots also, and the shovels, and the forks, and all their instruments,
did Huram his father make to king Solomon for the house of the LORD of bright
brass.
4:17 왕이 요단 평지에서 숙곳과 스레다 사이의 차진 흙에 그것들을 부어 내었더라
4:17 The king made them of liquid metal in the lowland of Jordan, in the soft earth between
Succoth and Zeredah.
4:17 In the plain of Jordan did the king cast them, in the clay ground between
Succoth and Zeredathah.
4:18 이와 같이 솔로몬이 이 모든 기구를 심히 많이 만들었으므로 그 놋 중수를
능히 측량할 수 없었더라
4:18 So Solomon made all these vessels, a very great store of them, and the weight of
the brass used was not measured.
4:18 Thus Solomon made all these vessels in great abundance: for the weight
of the brass could not be found out.
4:19 ○ 솔로몬이 또 하나님의 전의 모든 기구를 만들었으니 곧 금단과 진설병
상들과
4:19 And Solomon made all the vessels used in the house of God, the gold altar and the
tables on which the holy bread was placed,
4:19 And Solomon made all the vessels that were for the house of God, the
golden altar also, and the tables whereon the showbread was set;
4:20 내소 앞에서 규례대로 불을 켤 정금 등대와 그 등잔이며
4:20 And the supports for the lights with their lights, to be burning in the regular
way in front of the inmost room, of the best gold;
4:20 Moreover the candlesticks with their lamps, that they should burn after
the manner before the oracle, of pure gold;
4:21 또 순정한 금으로 만든 꽃과 등잔과 화젓가락이며
4:21 The flowers and the vessels for the lights and the instruments used for them, were
all of gold; it was the best gold.
4:21 And the flowers, and the lamps, and the tongs, made he of gold, and
that perfect gold;
4:22 또 정금으로 만든 불집게와 주발과 숟가락과 불 옮기는 그릇이며 또 전 문
곧 지성소의 문과 외소의 문을 금으로 입혔더라
4:22 The scissors and the basins and the spoons and the fire-trays, of the best gold;
and the inner doors of the house, opening into the most holy place, and the doors
of the Temple, were all of gold.
4:22 And the snuffers, and the basons, and the spoons, and the censers, of
pure gold: and the entry of the house, the inner doors thereof for the most
holy place, and the doors of the house of the temple, were of gold.
5:1 솔로몬이 여호와의 전을 위하여 만드는 모든 것을 마친지라 이에 그 부친
다윗이 드린 은과 금과 모든 기구를 가져다가 하나님의 전 곳간에 두었더라
5:1 So all the work which Solomon did for the house of the Lord was complete. And Solomon
took the holy things which David his father had given, the silver and the gold and
all the vessels, and put them in the store-houses of the house of God.
5:1 Thus all the work that Solomon made for the house of the LORD was finished:
and Solomon brought in all the things that David his father had dedicated; and
the silver, and the gold, and all the instruments, put he among the treasures
of the house of God.
5:2 ○ 이에 솔로몬이 여호와의 언약궤를 다윗 성 곧 시온에서 메어 올리고자
하여 이스라엘 장로들과 모든 지파의 두목 곧 이스라엘 자손의 족장들을 다 예루살렘으로
소집하니
5:2 Then Solomon sent for all the responsible men of Israel, all the chiefs of the tribes
and the heads of families of the children of Israel, to come to Jerusalem and take
the ark of the Lord's agreement up out of the town of David, which is Zion.
5:2 Then Solomon assembled the elders of Israel, and all the heads of the
tribes, the chief of the fathers of the children of Israel, unto Jerusalem,
to bring up the ark of the covenant of the LORD out of the city of David, which
is Zion.
5:3 칠 월 절기에 이스라엘 모든 사람이 다 왕에게로 모이고
5:3 And all the men of Israel came together to the king at the feast in the seventh
month.
5:3 Wherefore all the men of Israel assembled themselves unto the king in
the feast which was in the seventh month.
5:4 이스라엘 장로들이 다 이르매 레위 사람이 궤를 메니라
5:4 All the responsible men of Israel came, and the Levites took up the ark.
5:4 And all the elders of Israel came; and the Levites took up the ark.
5:5 궤와 회막과 장막 안에 모든 거룩한 기구를 메고 올라가되 제사장과 레위
사람이 그것들을 메고 올라가매
5:5 They took up the ark and the Tent of meeting and all the holy vessels which were
in the Tent; all these the priests, the Levites, took up.
5:5 And they brought up the ark, and the tabernacle of the congregation,
and all the holy vessels that were in the tabernacle, these did the priests
and the Levites bring up.
5:6 솔로몬 왕과 그 앞에 모인 이스라엘 회중이 궤 앞에 있어 양과 소로 제사를
드렸으니 그 수가 많아 기록할 수도 없고 셀 수도 없었더라
5:6 And King Solomon and all the men of Israel who had come together there with him,
were before the ark, making offerings of sheep and oxen more than might be numbered.
5:6 Also king Solomon, and all the congregation of Israel that were assembled
unto him before the ark, sacrificed sheep and oxen, which could not be told
nor numbered for multitude.
5:7 제사장들이 여호와의 언약궤를 그 처소로 메어 들였으니 곧 내전 지성소 그룹들의
날개 아래라
5:7 And the priests took the ark of the Lord's agreement and put it in its place, in
the inner room of the house, in the most holy place, under the wings of the winged
ones.
5:7 And the priests brought in the ark of the covenant of the LORD unto his
place, to the oracle of the house, into the most holy place, even under the
wings of the cherubims:
5:8 그룹들이 궤 처소 위에서 날개를 펴서 궤와 그 채를 덮었는데
5:8 For their wings were outstretched over the place where the ark was, covering the
ark and its rods.
5:8 For the cherubims spread forth their wings over the place of the ark,
and the cherubims covered the ark and the staves thereof above.
5:9 그 채가 길어서 궤에서 나오므로 그 끝이 내전 앞에서 보이나 밖에서는 보이지
아니하며 그 궤가 오늘까지 그 곳에 있으며
5:9 The rods were so long that their ends were seen from the holy place before the inmost
room; but they were not seen from outside; and there they are to this day.
5:9 And they drew out the staves of the ark, that the ends of the staves
were seen from the ark before the oracle; but they were not seen without. And
there it is unto this day.
5:10 궤 안에는 두 돌판 외에 아무 것도 없으니 이것은 이스라엘 자손이 애굽에서
나온 후 여호와께서 저희와 언약을 세우실 때에 모세가 호렙에서 그 안에 넣은 것이더라
5:10 Nothing was in the ark but the two flat stones which Moses put there at Horeb, where
the Lord made an agreement with the children of Israel when they came out of Egypt.
5:10 There was nothing in the ark save the two tables which Moses put therein
at Horeb, when the LORD made a covenant with the children of Israel, when they
came out of Egypt.
5:11 ○ 이 때에는 제사장들이 그 반차대로 하지 아니하고 스스로 정결케 하고
성소에 있다가 나오매
5:11 Now when the priests had come out of the holy place, (for all the priests who were
present had made themselves holy, not keeping to their divisions;
5:11 And it came to pass, when the priests were come out of the holy place:
(for all the priests that were present were sanctified, and did not then wait
by course:
5:12 노래하는 레위 사람 아삽과 헤만과 여두둔과 그 아들들과 형제들이 다 세마포를
입고 단 동편에 서서 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡고 또 나팔 부는 제사장 일백 이십
인이
함께 서 있다가
5:12 And the Levites who made the music, all of them, Asaph, Heman, Jeduthun, and their
sons and brothers, robed in fair linen, were in their places with their brass and
corded instruments at the east side of the altar, and with them a hundred and twenty
priests blowing horns;)
5:12 Also the Levites which were the singers, all of them of Asaph, of Heman,
of Jeduthun, with their sons and their brethren, being arrayed in white linen,
having cymbals and psalteries and harps, stood at the east end of the altar,
and with them an hundred and twenty priests sounding with trumpets:)
5:13 나팔 부는 자와 노래하는 자가 일제히 소리를 발하여 여호와를 찬송하며
감사하는데 나팔 불고 제금 치고 모든 악기를 울리며 소리를 높여 여호와를 찬송하여
가로되 선하시도다 그 자비하심이 영원히 있도다 하매 그 때에 여호와의 전에 구름이
가득한지라
5:13 And when the players on horns, and those who made melody in song, with one voice
were sounding the praise and glory of the Lord; with loud voices and with wind instruments,
and brass and corded instruments of music, praising the Lord and saying, He is good;
his mercy is unchanging for ever: then the house was full of the cloud of the glory
of the Lord,
5:13 It came even to pass, as the trumpeters and singers were as one, to
make one sound to be heard in praising and thanking the LORD; and when they
lifted up their voice with the trumpets and cymbals and instruments of music,
and praised the LORD, saying, For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever:
that then the house was filled with a cloud, even the house of the LORD;
5:14 제사장이 그 구름으로 인하여 능히 서서 섬기지 못하였으니 이는 여호와의
영광이 하나님의 전에 가득함이었더라
5:14 So that the priests were not able to keep their places to do their work because
of the cloud; for the house of God was full of the glory of the Lord.
5:14 So that the priests could not stand to minister by reason of the cloud:
for the glory of the LORD had filled the house of God.
6:1 그 때에 솔로몬이 가로되 여호와께서 캄캄한 데 계시겠다 말씀하셨사오나
6:1 Then Solomon said, O Lord, to the sun you have given the heaven for a living-place,
but your living-place was not seen by men,
6:1 Then said Solomon, The LORD has said that he would dwell in the thick
darkness.
6:2 내가 주를 위하여 거하실 전을 건축하였사오니 주께서 영원히 거하실 처소로소이다
하고
6:2 So I have made for you a living-place, a house in which you may be for ever present.
6:2 But I have built an house of habitation for you, and a place for your
dwelling for ever.
6:3 얼굴을 돌이켜 이스라엘의 온 회중을 위하여 축복하니 때에 이스라엘의 온
회중이 서 있더라
6:3 Then, turning his face about, the king gave a blessing to all the men of Israel;
and they were all on their feet together.
6:3 And the king turned his face, and blessed the whole congregation of Israel:
and all the congregation of Israel stood.
6:4 왕이 가로되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 송축할지로다 여호와께서 그 입으로
나의 부친 다윗에게 말씀하신 것을 이제 그 손으로 이루셨도다 이르시기를
6:4 And he said, Praise be to the Lord, the God of Israel, who himself gave his word
to my father David, and with his strong hand has made his word come true, saying,
6:4 And he said, Blessed be the LORD God of Israel, who has with his hands
fulfilled that which he spoke with his mouth to my father David, saying,
6:5 내가 내 백성을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낸 날부터 내 이름을 둘 만한 집을 건축하기
위하여 이스라엘 모든 지파 가운데서 아무 성읍도 택하지 아니하였으며 내 백성 이스라엘의
주권자를 삼기 위하여 아무 사람도 택하지 아니하였더니
6:5 From the day when I took my people out of the land of Egypt, no town in all the
tribes of Israel has been marked out by me for the building of a house for the resting-place
of my name; and I took no man to be a ruler over my people Israel;
6:5 Since the day that I brought forth my people out of the land of Egypt
I chose no city among all the tribes of Israel to build an house in, that my
name might be there; neither chose I any man to be a ruler over my people Israel:
6:6 예루살렘을 택하여 내 이름을 거기 두고 또 다윗을 택하여 내 백성 이스라엘을
다스리게 하였노라 하신지라
6:6 But now I have made selection of Jerusalem, that my name might be there, and of
David, to be over my people Israel.
6:6 But I have chosen Jerusalem, that my name might be there; and have chosen
David to be over my people Israel.
6:7 내 부친 다윗이 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할 마음이
있었더니
6:7 Now it was in the heart of my father David to put up a house for the name of the
Lord, the God of Israel.
6:7 Now it was in the heart of David my father to build an house for the
name of the LORD God of Israel.
6:8 여호와께서 내 부친 다윗에게 이르시되 네가 내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축할
마음이 있으니 이 마음이 네게 있는 것이 좋도다
6:8 But the Lord said to David my father, You did well to have in your heart the desire
to make a house for my name:
6:8 But the LORD said to David my father, Forasmuch as it was in yours heart
to build an house for my name, you did well in that it was in yours heart:
6:9 그러나 너는 그 전을 건축하지 못할 것이요 네 몸에서 낳을 네 아들 그가
내 이름을 위하여 전을 건축하리라 하시더니
6:9 But you yourself will not be the builder of the house; but your son, the offspring
of your body, he it is who will put up a house for my name.
6:9 Notwithstanding you shall not build the house; but your son which shall
come forth out of your loins, he shall build the house for my name.
6:10 이제 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 이루시도다 내가 여호와의 허하신 대로 내
부친 다윗을 대신하여 일어나서 이스라엘 위에 앉고 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 이름을
위하여 전을 건축하고
6:10 And the Lord has kept his word; for I have taken my father David's place on the
seat of the kingdom of Israel, as the Lord gave his word; and I have made the house
for the name of the Lord the God of Israel.
6:10 The LORD therefore has performed his word that he has spoken: for I
am risen up in the room of David my father, and am set on the throne of Israel,
as the LORD promised, and have built the house for the name of the LORD God
of Israel.
6:11 내가 또 그곳에 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손으로 더불어 세우신 언약 넣은
궤를 두었노라
6:11 And there I have put the ark, in which is the agreement of the Lord, which he made
with the people of Israel.
6:11 And in it have I put the ark, wherein is the covenant of the LORD, that
he made with the children of Israel.
6:12 ○ 솔로몬이 여호와의 단 앞에서 이스라엘의 회중을 마주 서서 그 손을 펴니라
6:12 Then he took his place in front of the altar of the Lord, all the men of Israel
being present,
6:12 And he stood before the altar of the LORD in the presence of all the
congregation of Israel, and spread forth his hands:
6:13 솔로몬이 이왕에 놋으로 대를 만들었으니 장이 다섯 규빗이요 광이 다섯
규빗이요 고가 세 규빗이라 뜰 가운데 두었더니 저가 그 위에 서서 이스라엘의 회중
앞에서 무릎을 끓고 하늘을 향하여 손을 펴고
6:13 (For Solomon had made a brass stage, five cubits long, five cubits wide and three
cubits high, and had put it in the middle of the open space; on this he took his
place and went down on his knees before all the meeting of Israel, stretching out
his hands to heaven.)
6:13 For Solomon had made a brazen scaffold of five cubits long, and five
cubits broad, and three cubits high, and had set it in the midst of the court:
and upon it he stood, and kneeled down upon his knees before all the congregation
of Israel, and spread forth his hands toward heaven.
6:14 가로되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 천지에 주와 같은 신이 없나이다 주께서는
온 마음으로 주의 앞에서 행하는 주의 종들에게 언약을 지키시고 은혜를 베푸시나이다
6:14 And he said, O Lord, the God of Israel, there is no God like you in heaven or on
earth; keeping faith and mercy unchanging for your servants, while they go in your
ways with all their hearts;
6:14 And said, O LORD God of Israel, there is no God like you in the heaven,
nor in the earth; which keep covenant, and show mercy unto your servants, that
walk before you with all their hearts:
6:15 주께서 주의 종 내 아비 다윗에게 허하신 말씀을 지키시되 주의 입으로 말씀하신
것을 손으로 이루심이 오늘날과 같으니이다
6:15 For you have kept the word which you gave to your servant David, my father; with
your mouth you said it and with your hand you have made it come true this day.
6:15 You which have kept with your servant David my father that which you
have promised him; and spoke with your mouth, and have fulfilled it with yours
hand, as it is this day.
6:16 이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 주께서 주의 종 내 아비 다윗에게 말씀하시기를
네 자손이 자기 길을 삼가서 네가 내 앞에서 행한 것 같이 내 율법대로 행하기만
하면 네게로 좇아 나서 이스라엘 위에 앉을 사람이 내 앞에서 끊어지지 아니하리라
하셨사오니 이제 다윗을 위하여 그 허하신 말씀을 지키시옵소서
6:16 So now, O Lord, the God of Israel, let your word to your servant David, my father,
come true, when you said, You will never be without a man to take his place before
me on the seat of the kingdom of Israel; if only your children give attention to
their ways, walking in my law, as you have done before me.
6:16 Now therefore, O LORD God of Israel, keep with your servant David my
father that which you have promised him, saying, There shall not fail you a
man in my sight to sit upon the throne of Israel; yet so that your children
take heed to their way to walk in my law, as you have walked before me.
6:17 그런즉 이스라엘 하나님 여호와여 원컨대 주는 주의 종 다윗에게 하신 말씀이
확실하게 하옵소서
6:17 So now, O Lord, the God of Israel, make your word come true which you said to your
servant David.
6:17 Now then, O LORD God of Israel, let your word be verified, which you
have spoken unto your servant David.
6:18 ○ 하나님이 참으로 사람과 함께 땅에 거하시리이까 하늘과 하늘들의 하늘이라도
주를 용납지 못하겠거든 하물며 내가 건축한 이 전이오리이까
6:18 But is it truly possible that God may be housed with men on earth? see, heaven and
the heaven of heavens are not wide enough to be your resting-place: how much less
this house which I have made:
6:18 But will God in very deed dwell with men on the earth? behold, heaven
and the heaven of heavens cannot contain you; how much less this house which
I have built!
6:19 그러나 나의 하나님 여호와여 종의 기도와 간구를 돌아보시며 종이 주의
앞에서 부르짖음과 비는 기도를 들으시옵소서
6:19 Still, let your heart be turned to the prayer of your servant and to his prayer
for grace, O Lord my God, and give ear to the cry and the prayer which your servant
makes before you;
6:19 Have respect therefore to the prayer of your servant, and to his supplication,
O LORD my God, to hearken unto the cry and the prayer which your servant prays
before you:
6:20 주께서 전에 말씀하시기를 내 이름을 거기 두리라 하신 곳 이 전을 향하여
주의 눈이 주야로 보옵시며 종이 이곳을 향하여 비는 기도를 들으시옵소서
6:20 That your eyes may be open to this house day and night, to this place of which you
have said that you would put your name there; to give ear to the prayer which your
servant may make, turning to this place.
6:20 That yours eyes may be open upon this house day and night, upon the
place whereof you have said that you would put your name there; to hearken unto
the prayer which your servant prays toward this place.
6:21 종과 주의 백성 이스라엘이 이곳을 향하여 기도할 때에 주는 그 간구함을
들으시되 주의 계신 곳 하늘에서 들으시고 들으시사 사하여 주옵소서
6:21 And give ear to the prayers of your servant and of your people Israel, when they
make their prayers, turning to this place; give ear from heaven your living-place;
and hearing have mercy.
6:21 Hearken therefore unto the supplications of your servant, and of your
people Israel, which they shall make toward this place: hear you from your dwelling
place, even from heaven; and when you hear, forgive.
6:22 ○ 만일 어떤 사람이 그 이웃에게 범죄하므로 맹세시킴을 받고 저가 와서
이 전에 있는 주의 단 앞에서 맹세하거든
6:22 If a man does wrong to his neighbour and has to take an oath, and comes before your
altar to take his oath in this house:
6:22 If a man sin against his neighbour, and an oath be laid upon him to
make him swear, and the oath come before yours altar in this house;
6:23 주는 하늘에서 들으시고 행하시되 주의 종들을 국문하사 악한 자의 죄를
정하여 그 행위대로 그 머리에 돌리시고 의로운 자를 의롭다 하사 그 의로운 대로
갚으시옵소서
6:23 Then let your ear be open in heaven, and be the judge of your servants, giving punishment
to the wrongdoer, so that his sin may come on his head; and, by your decision, keeping
from evil him who has done no wrong.
6:23 Then hear you from heaven, and do, and judge your servants, by requiting
the wicked, by recompensing his way upon his own head; and by justifying the
righteous, by giving him according to his righteousness.
6:24 ○ 만일 주의 백성 이스라엘이 주께 범죄하여 적국 앞에 패하게 되므로 주께로
돌아와서 주의 이름을 인정하고 이 전에서 주께 빌며 간구하거든
6:24 And if your people Israel are overcome in war, because of their sin against you;
if they are turned to you again, honouring your name, making prayers and requesting
your grace in this house:
6:24 And if your people Israel be put to the worse before the enemy, because
they have sinned against you; and shall return and confess your name, and pray
and make supplication before you in this house;
6:25 주는 하늘에서 들으시고 주의 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 사하시고 그와 그 열조에게
주신 땅으로 돌아오게 하옵소서
6:25 Then give ear from heaven, and let the sin of your people Israel have forgiveness,
and take them back again to the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
6:25 Then hear you from the heavens, and forgive the sin of your people Israel,
and bring them again unto the land which you gave to them and to their fathers.
6:26 ○ 만일 저희가 주께 범죄함을 인하여 하늘이 닫히고 비가 없어서 주의 벌을
받을 때에 이곳을 향하여 빌며 주의 이름을 인정하고 그 죄에서 떠나거든
6:26 When heaven is shut up and there is no rain, because of their sin against you: if
they make prayers with their faces turned to this place, honouring your name and
turning away from their sin when you send trouble on them:
6:26 When the heaven is shut up, and there is no rain, because they have
sinned against you; yet if they pray toward this place, and confess your name,
and turn from their sin, when you do afflict them;
6:27 주는 하늘에서 들으사 주의 종들과 주의 백성 이스라엘의 죄를 사하시고
그 마땅히 행할 선한 길을 가르쳐 주옵시며 주의 백성에게 기업으로 주신 주의 땅에
비를 내리시옵소서
6:27 Then give ear from heaven, so that the sin of your servants and the sin of your
people Israel may have forgiveness, when you make clear to them the good way in
which they are to go; and send rain on your land which you have given to your people
for their heritage.
6:27 Then hear you from heaven, and forgive the sin of your servants, and
of your people Israel, when you have taught them the good way, wherein they
should walk; and send rain upon your land, which you have given unto your people
for an inheritance.
6:28 ○ 만일 이 땅에 기근이나 온역이 있거나 곡식이 시들거나 깜부기가 나거나
메뚜기나 황충이 나거나 적국이 와서 성읍을 에워싸거나 무슨 재앙이나 무슨 질병이
있든지 무론하고
6:28 If there is no food in the land, if there is disease, if the fruits of the earth
are damaged by heat or water, locust or worm; if their towns are shut in by their
attackers: whatever trouble or whatever disease there may be:
6:28 If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be
blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillars; if their enemies besiege them
in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:
6:29 한 사람이나 혹 주의 온 백성 이스라엘이 다 각각 자기의 마음에 재앙과
고통을 깨닫고 이 전을 향하여 손을 펴고 무슨 기도나 무슨 간구를 하거든
6:29 Whatever prayer or request for your grace is made by any man, or by all your people
Israel, whatever his trouble may be, whose hands are stretched out to this house:
6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication whatsoever shall be made of any
man, or of all your people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and
his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
6:30 주는 계신 곳 하늘에서 들으시며 사유하시되 각 사람의 마음을 아시오니
그 모든 행위대로 갚으시옵소서 주만 홀로 인생의 마음을 아심이니이다
6:30 Then give ear from heaven your living-place, answering with forgiveness, and give
to every man, whose secret heart is open to you, the reward of all his ways; (for
you, and you only, have knowledge of the hearts of the children of men;)
6:30 Then hear you from heaven your dwelling place, and forgive, and render
unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart you know; (for you only
know the hearts of the children of men:)
6:31 그리하시면 저희가 주께서 우리 열조에게 주신 땅에서 사는 동안에 항상
주를 경외하며 주의 길로 행하리이다
6:31 So that they may give you worship, walking in your ways, as long as they are living
in the land which you gave to our fathers.
6:31 That they may fear you, to walk in your ways, so long as they live in
the land which you gave unto our fathers.
6:32 ○ 주의 백성 이스라엘에 속하지 않은 이방인에게 대하여도 저희가 주의
큰 이름과 능한 손과 펴신 팔을 위하여 먼 지방에서 와서 이 전을 향하여 기도하거든
6:32 And as for the man from a strange land, who is not of your people Israel but comes
from a far country because of the glory of your name and your strong hand and your
outstretched arm; when he comes to make his prayer, turning to this house:
6:32 Moreover concerning the stranger, which is not of your people Israel,
but has come from a far country for your great name's sake, and your mighty
hand, and your stretched out arm; if they come and pray in this house;
6:33 주는 계신 곳 하늘에서 들으시고 무릇 이방인이 주께 부르짖는 대로 이루사
땅의 만민으로 주의 이름을 알고 주의 백성 이스라엘처럼 경외하게 하옵시며 또 내가
건축한 이 전을 주의 이름으로 일컫는 줄을 알게 하옵소서
6:33 Then give ear from heaven your living-place, and give him his desire, whatever it
may be; so that all the peoples of the earth may have knowledge of your name, worshipping
you as do your people Israel, and may see that this house which I have made is truly
named by your name.
6:33 Then hear you from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, and do
according to all that the stranger calls to you for; that all people of the
earth may know your name, and fear you, as does your people Israel, and may
know that this house which I have built is called by your name.
6:34 ○ 주의 백성이 그 적국으로 더불어 싸우고자 하여 주의 보내신 길로 나갈
때에 저희가 주의 빼신 이 성과 내가 주의 이름을 위하여 건축한 전 있는 편을 향하여
여호와께 기도하거든
6:34 If your people go out to war against their attackers, by whatever way you may send
them, if they make their prayers to you turning their faces to this town of yours
and to this house which I have put up for your name:
6:34 If your people go out to war against their enemies by the way that you
shall send them, and they pray unto you toward this city which you have chosen,
and the house which I have built for your name;
6:35 주는 하늘에서 저희의 기도와 간구를 들으시고 그 일을 돌아보옵소서
6:35 Then give ear from heaven to their prayer and their cry for grace, and see right
done to them.
6:35 Then hear you from the heavens their prayer and their supplication,
and maintain their cause.
6:36 범죄치 아니하는 사람이 없사오니 저희가 주께 범죄하므로 주께서 저희에게
진노하사 저희를 적국에게 붙이시매 적국이 저희를 사로잡아 땅의 원근을 물론하고
끌어간 후에
6:36 If they do wrong against you, (for no man is without sin,) and you are angry with
them, and give them up into the power of those who are fighting against them, so
that they take them away prisoners to a land far off or near;
6:36 If they sin against you, (for there is no man which sins not,) and you
be angry with them, and deliver them over before their enemies, and they carry
them away captives unto a land far off or near;
6:37 저희가 사로잡혀 간 땅에서 스스로 깨닫고 그 사로잡은 자의 땅에서 돌이켜
주께 간구하기를 우리가 범죄하여 패역을 행하며 악을 지었나이다 하며
6:37 And if they take thought, in the land where they are prisoners, turning again to
you, crying out in prayer to you in that land, and saying, We are sinners, we have
done wrong, we have done evil;
6:37 Yet if they call to reflect themselves in the land where they are carried
captive, and turn and pray unto you in the land of their captivity, saying,
We have sinned, we have done amiss, and have dealt wickedly;
6:38 자기를 사로잡아 간 적국의 땅에서 온 마음과 온 뜻으로 주께 돌아와서 주께서
그 열조에게 주신 땅과 주의 빼신 성과 내가 주의 이름을 위하여 건축한 전 있는
편을 향하여 기도하거든
6:38 If with all their heart and soul they are turned again to you, in the land where
they are prisoners, the land where they have been taken, and make their prayers,
turning their eyes to their land which you gave to their fathers, and to the town
which you took for yourself, and the house which I have made for your name:
6:38 If they return to you with all their heart and with all their soul in
the land of their captivity, where they have carried them captives, and pray
toward their land, which you gave unto their fathers, and toward the city which
you have chosen, and toward the house which I have built for your name:
6:39 주는 계신 곳 하늘에서 저희의 기도와 간구를 들으시고 저희의 일을 돌아보옵시며 주께 득죄한 주의 백성을 용서하옵소서
6:39 Then give ear from heaven your living-place to their prayer and their cry, and see
right done to them, answering with forgiveness your people who have done wrong against
you.
6:39 Then hear you from the heavens, even from your dwelling place, their
prayer and their supplications, and maintain their cause, and forgive your people
which have sinned against you.
6:40 나의 하나님이여 이제 이곳에서 하는 기도에 눈을 드시고 귀를 기울이소서
6:40 Now, O my God, may your eyes be open and your ears awake to the prayers made in
this place.
6:40 Now, my God, let, I plead to you, yours eyes be open, and let yours
ears be attentive unto the prayer that is made in this place.
6:41 여호와 하나님이여 일어나 들어가사 주의 능력의 궤와 함께 주의 평안한
처소에 계시옵소서 여호와 하나님이여 원컨대 주의 제사장으로 구원을 입게 하시고
또 주의 성도로 은혜를 기뻐하게 하옵소서
6:41 Up! now, O Lord God, come back to your resting-place, you and the ark of your strength:
let your priests, O Lord God, be clothed with salvation, and let your saints be
glad in what is good.
6:41 Now therefore arise, O LORD God, into your resting place, you, and the
ark of your strength: let your priests, O LORD God, be clothed with salvation,
and let your saints rejoice in goodness.
6:42 여호와 하나님이여 주의 기름 부음 받은 자에게서 얼굴을 돌이키지 마옵시고
주의 종 다윗에게 베푸신 은총을 기억하옵소서
6:42 O Lord God, let him whom you have taken for yourself never be given up by you: keep
in mind your mercies to David your servant.
6:42 O LORD God, turn not away the face of yours anointed: remember the mercies
of David your servant.
7:1 솔로몬이 기도를 마치매 불이 하늘에서부터 내려와서 그 번제물과 제물들을
사르고 여호와의 영광이 그 전에 가득하니
7:1 Now when Solomon's prayers were ended, fire came down from heaven, burning up all
the offerings; and the house was full of the glory of the Lord.
7:1 Now when Solomon had made an end of praying, the fire came down from
heaven, and consumed the burnt offering and the sacrifices; and the glory of
the LORD filled the house.
7:2 여호와의 영광이 여호와의 전에 가득하므로 제사장이 그 전에 능히 들어가지
못하였고
7:2 And the priests were not able to go into the house of the Lord, for the Lord's house
was full of the glory of the Lord.
7:2 And the priests could not enter into the house of the LORD, because the
glory of the LORD had filled the LORD's house.
7:3 이스라엘 모든 자손은 불이 내리는 것과 여호와의 영광이 전에 있는 것을
보고 박석 깐 땅에 엎드려 경배하며 여호와께 감사하여 가로되 선하시도다 그 인자하심이
영원하도다 하니라
7:3 And all the children of Israel were looking on when the fire came down, and the
glory of the Lord was on the house; and they went down on their knees, with their
faces to the earth, worshipping and praising the Lord, and saying, He is good; for
his mercy is unchanging for ever.
7:3 And when all the children of Israel saw how the fire came down, and the
glory of the LORD upon the house, they bowed themselves with their faces to
the ground upon the pavement, and worshipped, and praised the LORD, saying,
For he is good; for his mercy endures for ever.
7:4 ○ 이에 왕과 모든 백성이 여호와 앞에 제사를 드리니
7:4 Then the king and all the people made offerings before the Lord.
7:4 Then the king and all the people offered sacrifices before the LORD.
7:5 솔로몬 왕의 드린 제물이 소가 이만 이천이요 양이 십이만이라 이와 같이
왕과 모든 백성이 하나님의 전의 낙성식을 행하니라
7:5 King Solomon made an offering of twenty-two thousand oxen, and a hundred and twenty
thousand sheep. So the king and all the people kept the feast of the opening of
the house of God.
7:5 And king Solomon offered a sacrifice of twenty and two thousand oxen,
and an hundred and twenty thousand sheep: so the king and all the people dedicated
the house of God.
7:6 때에 제사장들은 직분대로 모셔 서고 레위 사람도 여호와의 악기를 가지고
섰으니 이 악기는 전에 다윗 왕이 레위 사람으로 여호와를 찬송하려고 만들어서 여호와의
인자하심이 영원함을 감사케 하던 것이라 제사장은 무리 앞에서 나팔을 불고 온 이스라엘은
섰더라
7:6 And the priests were in their places, and the Levites with their instruments of
music for the Lord's song, which David the king had made for the praise of the Lord
whose mercy is unchanging for ever, when David gave praise by their hand; and the
priests were sounding horns before them; and all Israel were on their feet.
7:6 And the priests waited on their offices: the Levites also with instruments
of music of the LORD, which David the king had made to praise the LORD, because
his mercy endures for ever, when David praised by their ministry; and the priests
sounded trumpets before them, and all Israel stood.
7:7 솔로몬이 또 여호와의 전 앞뜰 가운데를 거룩히 구별하고 거기서 번제물과
화목제의 기름을 드렸으니 이는 솔로몬의 지은 놋 단이 능히 그 번제물과 소제물과
기름을 용납할 수 없음이더라
7:7 Then Solomon made holy the middle of the open square in front of the house of the
Lord, offering the burned offerings there, and the fat of the peace-offerings; for
there was not room on the brass altar which Solomon had made for all the burned
offerings and the meal offerings and the fat.
7:7 Moreover Solomon hallowed the middle of the court that was before the
house of the LORD: for there he offered burnt offerings, and the fat of the
peace offerings, because the brazen altar which Solomon had made was not able
to receive the burnt offerings, and the food offerings, and the fat.
7:8 ○ 그 때에 솔로몬이 칠 일 동안 절기를 지켰는데 하맛 어귀에서부터 애굽
하수까지의 온 이스라엘의 심히 큰 회중이 모여 저와 함께 하였더니
7:8 So Solomon kept the feast at that time for seven days, and all Israel with him,
a very great meeting, for the people had come together from the way into Hamath
and from as far as the river of Egypt.
7:8 Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel
with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the
river of Egypt.
7:9 제 팔 일에 무리가 한 성회를 여니라 단의 낙성식을 칠 일 동안 행한 후 이
절기를 칠 일 동안 지키니라
7:9 And on the eighth day they had a holy meeting; the offerings for making the altar
holy went on for seven days, and the feast for seven days.
7:9 And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the
dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.
7:10 ○ 칠 월 이십 삼 일에 왕이 백성을 그 장막으로 돌려보내매 백성이 여호와께서
다윗과 솔로몬과 그 백성 이스라엘에게 베푸신 은혜를 인하여 기뻐하며 마음에 즐거워하였더라
7:10 And on the twenty-third day of the seventh month, he sent the people away to their
tents, full of joy and glad in their hearts, because of all the good which the Lord
had done to David and to Solomon and to Israel his people.
7:10 And on the three and twentieth day of the seventh month he sent the
people away into their tents, glad and merry in heart for the goodness that
the LORD had showed unto David, and to Solomon, and to Israel his people.
7:11 솔로몬이 여호와의 전과 왕궁을 필역하고 무릇 그 심중에 여호와의 전과
자기의 궁궐에 어떻게 만들고자 한 것을 다 형통하게 이루니라
7:11 So Solomon came to the end of building the house of the Lord and the king's house;
and everything which it was in his mind to make in the house of the Lord and for
himself had been well done.
7:11 Thus Solomon finished the house of the LORD, and the king's house: and
all that came into Solomon's heart to make in the house of the LORD, and in
his own house, he prosperously effected.
7:12 밤에 여호와께서 솔로몬에게 나타나사 이르시되 내가 이미 네 기도를 듣고
이곳을 택하여 내게 제사하는 전을 삼았으니
7:12 Now the Lord came to Solomon in a vision by night, and said to him, I have given
ear to your prayer, and have taken this place for myself as a house where offerings
are to be made.
7:12 And the LORD appeared to Solomon by night, and said unto him, I have
heard your prayer, and have chosen this place to myself for an house of sacrifice.
7:13 혹 내가 하늘을 닫고 비를 내리지 아니하거나 혹 메뚜기로 토산을 먹게 하거나
혹 염병으로 내 백성 가운데 유행하게 할 때에
7:13 If, at my word, heaven is shut up, so that there is no rain, or if I send locusts
on the land for its destruction, or if I send disease on my people;
7:13 If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts
to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;
7:14 내 이름으로 일컫는 내 백성이 그 악한 길에서 떠나 스스로 겸비하고 기도하여
내 얼굴을 구하면 내가 하늘에서 듣고 그 죄를 사하고 그 땅을 고칠지라
7:14 If my people, on whom my name is named, make themselves low and come to me in prayer,
searching for me and turning from their evil ways; then I will give ear from heaven,
overlooking their sin, and will give life again to their land.
7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves,
and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear
from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
7:15 이곳에서 하는 기도에 내가 눈을 들고 귀를 기울이리니
7:15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears awake to the prayers made in this place.
7:15 Now mine eyes shall be open, and mine ears attentive unto the prayer
that is made in this place.
7:16 이는 내가 이미 이 전을 택하고 거룩하게 하여 내 이름으로 여기 영영히 있게
하였음이라 내 눈과 내 마음이 항상 여기 있으리라
7:16 For I have taken this house for myself and made it holy, so that my name may be
there for ever; and my eyes and my heart will be there at all times.
7:16 For now have I chosen and sanctified this house, that my name may be
there for ever: and mine eyes and mine heart shall be there perpetually.
7:17 네가 만일 내 앞에서 행하기를 네 아비 다윗 같이 하여 내가 네게 명한 모든
것을
행하여 내 율례와 규례를 지키면
7:17 And as for you, if you will go on your way before me as David your father did, doing
whatever I have given you orders to do and keeping my laws and my decisions:
7:17 And as for you, if you will walk before me, as David your father walked,
and do according to all that I have commanded you, and shall observe my statutes
and my judgments;
7:18 내가 네 나라 위를 견고케 하되 전에 내가 네 아비 다윗과 언약하기를 이스라엘을
다스릴 자가 네게서 끊어지지 아니하리라 한 대로 하리라
7:18 Then I will make strong the seat of your kingdom, as I gave my word to David your
father, saying, You will never be without a man to be ruler in Israel.
7:18 Then will I establish the throne of your kingdom, according as I have
covenanted with David your father, saying, There shall not fail you a man to
be ruler in Israel.
7:19 ○ 그러나 너희가 만일 돌이켜 내가 너희 앞에 둔 내 율례와 명령을 버리고
가서 다른 신을 섬겨 숭배하면
7:19 But if you are turned away from me, and do not keep my orders and my laws which
I have put before you, but go and make yourselves servants to other gods, giving
them worship:
7:19 But if all of you turn away, and forsake my statutes and my commandments,
which I have set before you, and shall go and serve other gods, and worship
them;
7:20 내가 저희에게 준 땅에서 그 뿌리를 뽑아내고 내 이름을 위하여 거룩하게
한 이 전을 내 앞에서 버려 모든 민족 중에 속담거리와 이야기거리가 되게 하리니
7:20 Then I will have this people uprooted out of my land which I have given them; and
this house, which I have made holy for my name, I will put away from before my eyes,
and make it an example and a word of shame among all peoples.
7:20 Then will I pluck them up by the roots out of my land which I have given
them; and this house, which I have sanctified for my name, will I cast out of
my sight, and will make it to be a proverb and a byword among all nations.
7:21 이 전이 비록 높을지라도 무릇 그리로 지나가는 자가 놀라 가로되 여호와께서
무슨 까닭으로 이 땅과 이 전에 이같이 행하셨는고 하면
7:21 And this house will become a mass of broken walls, and everyone who goes by will
be overcome with wonder, and will say, Why has the Lord done so to this land and
to this house?
7:21 And this house, which is high, shall be an astonishment to every one
that passes by it; so that he shall say, Why has the LORD done thus unto this
land, and unto this house?
7:22 대답하기를 저희가 자기 열조를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내신 자기 하나님
여호와를 버리고 다른 신에게 부종하여 그를 숭배하여 섬기므로 여호와께서 이 모든
재앙을 저희에게 내리셨다 하리라 하셨더라
7:22 And their answer will be, Because they were turned away from the Lord, the God of
their fathers, who took them out of the land of Egypt, and took for themselves other
gods and gave them worship and became their servants: that is why he has sent all
this evil on them.
7:22 And it shall be answered, Because they forsook the LORD God of their
fathers, which brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, and laid hold on
other gods, and worshipped them, and served them: therefore has he brought all
this evil upon them.
8:1 솔로몬이 여호와의 전과 자기의 궁궐을 이십 년 동안에 건축하기를 마치고
8:1 Now at the end of twenty years, in which time Solomon had put up the house of the
Lord and a house for himself,
8:1 And it came to pass at the end of twenty years, wherein Solomon had built
the house of the LORD, and his own house,
8:2 후람이 자기에게 준 성읍들을 다시 건축하여 이스라엘 자손으로 거기 거하게
하니라
8:2 He took in hand the building up of the towns which Huram had given him, causing
the children of Israel to make living-places for themselves there.
8:2 That the cities which Huram had restored to Solomon, Solomon built them,
and caused the children of Israel to dwell there.
8:3 ○ 솔로몬이 가서 하맛소바를 쳐서 취하고
8:3 And Solomon went to Hamath-zobah and overcame it.
8:3 And Solomon went to Hamathzobah, and prevailed against it.
8:4 또 광야에서 다드몰을 건축하고 하맛에서 모든 국고성을 건축하고
8:4 And he put up the buildings of Tadmor in the waste land, and of all the store-towns
in Hamath;
8:4 And he built Tadmor in the wilderness, and all the store cities, which
he built in Hamath.
8:5 또 윗 벧호론과 아래 벧호론을 건축하되 성과 문과 문빗장이 있게 하여 견고한
성읍을 삼고
8:5 And of Beth-horon the higher and the lower, walled towns with walls and doorways
and locks;
8:5 Also he built Bethhoron the upper, and Bethhoron the nether, fenced cities,
with walls, gates, and bars;
8:6 또 바알랏과 자기에게 있는 모든 국고성과 모든 병거성과 마병의 성들을 건축하고
솔로몬이 또 예루살렘과 레바논과 그 다스리는 온 땅에 건축하고자 하던 것을 다
건축하니라
8:6 And of Baalath, and all the store-towns which Solomon had, and the towns where he
kept his war-carriages and his horse men, and everything which it was his pleasure
to put up in Jerusalem and in Lebanon and in all the land under his rule.
8:6 And Baalath, and all the store cities that Solomon had, and all the chariot
cities, and the cities of the horsemen, and all that Solomon desired to build
in Jerusalem, and in Lebanon, and throughout all the land of his dominion.
8:7 ○ 무릇 이스라엘이 아닌 헷 족속과 아모리 족속과 브리스 족속과 히위 족속과
여부스 족속의 남아 있는 자
8:7 As for all the rest of the Hittites and the Amorites and the Perizzites and the
Hivites and the Jebusites, who were not of Israel:
8:7 As for all the people that were left of the Hittites, and the Amorites,
and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which were not of Israel,
8:8 곧 이스라엘 자손이 다 멸하지 못하였으므로 그 땅에 남아 있는 그 자손들을
솔로몬이 역군을 삼아 오늘날까지 이르렀으되
8:8 Their men who were still living in the land, and whom the children of Israel had
not put an end to, these Solomon put to forced work, as is done to this day;
8:8 But of their children, who were left after them in the land, whom the
children of Israel consumed not, them did Solomon make to pay tribute until
this day.
8:9 오직 이스라엘 자손은 솔로몬이 노예를 삼아 일을 시키지 아니하였으니 저희는
군사와 장관의 두목과 그 병거와 마병의 장관이 됨이라
8:9 But Solomon did not make use of the children of Israel as servants for his work;
they were men of war, his chiefs and his captains, and captains of his war-carriages
and his horsemen.
8:9 But of the children of Israel did Solomon make no servants for his work;
but they were men of war, and chief of his captains, and captains of his chariots
and horsemen.
8:10 솔로몬 왕의 공장을 감독하는 자가 이백 오십 인이라 저희가 백성을 다스렸더라
8:10 Now these were the chief men in authority whom King Solomon had: two hundred and
fifty of them, in authority over the people.
8:10 And these were the chief of king Solomon's officers, even two hundred
and fifty, that bare rule over the people.
8:11 ○ 솔로몬이 바로의 딸을 데리고 다윗 성에서부터 저를 위하여 건축한 궁에
이르러 가로되 내 아내가 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 궁에 거하지 못하리니 이는 여호와의
궤가 이른 곳은 다 거룩함이니라 하였더라
8:11 Then Solomon made Pharaoh's daughter come up from the town of David to the house
which he had made for her; for he said, I will not have my wife living in the house
of David, king of Israel, because those places where the ark of the Lord has come
are holy.
8:11 And Solomon brought up the daughter of Pharaoh out of the city of David
unto the house that he had built for her: for he said, My wife shall not dwell
in the house of David king of Israel, because the places are holy, unto which
the ark of the LORD has come.
8:12 ○ 솔로몬이 낭실 앞에 쌓은 여호와의 단 위에 여호와께 번제를 드리되
8:12 Then Solomon made burned offerings to the Lord on the altar of the Lord which he
had put up in front of the covered way,
8:12 Then Solomon offered burnt offerings unto the LORD on the altar of the
LORD, which he had built before the porch,
8:13 모세의 명을 좇아 매일에 합의한 대로 안식일과 월삭과 정한 절기 곧 일 년의
세 절기 무교절과 칠칠절과 초막절에 드렸더라
8:13 Offering every day what had been ordered by Moses, on the Sabbaths and at the new
moon and at the regular feasts three times a year, that is at the feast of unleavened
bread, the feast of weeks, and the feast of tents.
8:13 Even after a certain rate every day, offering according to the commandment
of Moses, on the sabbaths, and on the new moons, and on the solemn feasts, three
times in the year, even in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of
weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles.
8:14 ○ 솔로몬이 또 그 부친 다윗의 정규를 좇아 제사장들의 반차를 정하여 섬기게
하고 레위 사람에게도 그 직분을 맡겨 매일에 합의한 대로 찬송하며 제사장들 앞에서
수종들게 하며 또 문지기로 그 반차를 좇아 각 문을 지키게 하였으니 이는 하나님의
사람 다윗이 전에 이렇게 명하였음이라
8:14 And he gave the divisions of the priests their places for their work, as ordered
by his father David, and to the Levites he gave their work of praise and waiting
on the priests, to do what was needed day by day; and he gave the door-keepers their
places in turn at every door; for so David, the man of God, had given orders.
8:14 And he appointed, according to the order of David his father, the courses
of the priests to their service, and the Levites to their charges, to praise
and minister before the priests, as the duty of every day required: the porters
also by their courses at every gate: for so had David the man of God commanded.
8:15 제사장과 레위 사람이 국고 일에든지 무슨 일에든지 왕의 명한 바를 다 어기지
아니하였더라
8:15 All the orders given by the king to the priests and Levites, in connection with
any business or stores, were done with care.
8:15 And they departed not from the commandment of the king unto the priests
and Levites concerning any matter, or concerning the treasures.
8:16 ○ 솔로몬이 여호와의 전의 기지를 쌓던 날부터 준공하기까지 범백을 완비하였으므로
여호와의 전이 결점이 없이 필역하니라
8:16 And all the work of Solomon was complete, from the day when he put the base of the
Lord's house in position, till Solomon had come to the end of building the Lord's
house.
8:16 Now all the work of Solomon was prepared unto the day of the foundation
of the house of the LORD, and until it was finished. So the house of the LORD
was perfected.
8:17 ○ 때에 솔로몬이 에돔 땅의 바닷가 에시온게벨과 엘롯에 이르렀더니
8:17 Then Solomon went to Ezion-geber and to Eloth by the sea in the land of Edom.
8:17 Then went Solomon to Eziongeber, and to Eloth, at the sea side in the
land of Edom.
8:18 후람이 그 신복에게 부탁하여 배와 바닷길을 아는 종들을 보내매 저희가
솔로몬의 종과 함께 오빌에 이르러 거기서 금 사백 오십 달란트를 얻고 솔로몬 왕에게로
가져왔더라
8:18 And Huram sent him, by his servants, ships and experienced seamen, who went with
the servants of Solomon to Ophir and came back with four hundred and fifty talents
of gold, which they took to King Solomon.
8:18 And Huram sent him by the hands of his servants ships, and servants
that had knowledge of the sea; and they went with the servants of Solomon to
Ophir, and took thence four hundred and fifty talents of gold, and brought them
to king Solomon.
9:1 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 명예를 듣고 와서 어려운 문제로 솔로몬을 시험코자
하여 예루살렘에 이르니 수원이 심히 많고 향품과 많은 금과 보석을 약대에 실었더라
저가 솔로몬에게 나아와 자기 마음에 있는 것을 다 말하매
9:1 Now the queen of Sheba, hearing great things of Solomon, came to Jerusalem to put
his wisdom to the test with hard questions; and with her came a very great train,
and camels weighted down with spices, and great stores of gold and jewels: and when
she came to Solomon she had talk with him of everything in her mind.
9:1 And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to
prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and
camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when
she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.
9:2 솔로몬이 그 묻는 말을 다 대답하였으니 솔로몬이 은미하여 대답지 못한 것이
없었더라
9:2 And Solomon gave her answers to all her questions; there was no secret which he
did not make clear to her.
9:2 And Solomon told her all her questions: and there was nothing hid from
Solomon which he told her not.
9:3 스바 여왕이 솔로몬의 지혜와 그 건축한 궁과
9:3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house which
he had made,
9:3 And when the queen of Sheba had seen the wisdom of Solomon, and the house
that he had built,
9:4 그 상의 식물과 그 신복들의 좌석과 그 신하들의 시립한 것과 그들의 공복과
술 관원들과 그들의 공복과 여호와의 전에 올라가는 층계를 보고 정신이 현황하여
9:4 And the food at his table, and all his servants seated there, and those who were
waiting on him in their places, and their robes, and his wine-servants and their
robes, and the burned offerings which he made in the house of the Lord, there was
no more spirit in her.
9:4 And the food of his table, and the sitting of his servants, and the attendance
of his ministers, and their apparel; his cupbearers also, and their apparel;
and his ascent by which he went up into the house of the LORD; there was no
more spirit in her.
9:5 왕께 고하되 내가 내 나라에서 당신의 행위와 당신의 지혜에 대하여 들은
소문이 진실하도다
9:5 And she said to the king, The account which was given to me in my country of your
acts and your wisdom was true.
9:5 And she said to the king, It was a true report which I heard in mine
own land of yours acts, and of your wisdom:
9:6 내가 그 말들을 믿지 아니하였더니 이제 와서 목도한즉 당신의 지혜가 크다
한 말이 그 절반도 못 되니 당신은 내가 들은 소문보다 지나도다
9:6 But I had no faith in what was said about you, till I came and saw for myself; and
truly, word was not given me of half your great wisdom; you are much greater than
they said.
9:6 Nevertheless I believed not their words, until I came, and mine eyes
had seen it: and, behold, the one half of the greatness of your wisdom was not
told me: for you exceed the fame that I heard.
9:7 복되도다 당신의 사람들이여 복되도다 당신의 이 신복들이여 항상 당신의
앞에 서서 당신의 지혜를 들음이로다
9:7 Happy are your wives and happy these your servants whose place is ever before you,
hearing your words of wisdom.
9:7 Happy are your men, and happy are these your servants, which stand continually
before you, and hear your wisdom.
9:8 당신의 하나님 여호와를 송축할지로다 하나님이 당신을 기뻐하시고 그 위에
올리사 당신의 하나님 여호와를 위하여 왕이 되게 하셨도다 당신의 하나님이 이스라엘을
사랑하사 영원히 견고하게 하시려고 당신을 세워 저희 왕을 삼아 공과 의를 행하게
하셨도다 하고
9:8 Praise be to the Lord your God whose pleasure it was to put you on the seat of his
kingdom to be king for the Lord your God: because, in his love for Israel, it was
the purpose of your God to make them strong for ever, he made you king over them,
to be their judge in righteousness.
9:8 Blessed be the LORD your God, which delighted in you to set you on his
throne, to be king for the LORD your God: because your God loved Israel, to
establish them for ever, therefore made he you king over them, to do judgment
and justice.
9:9 이에 저가 금 일백 이십 달란트와 심히 많은 향품과 보석을 왕께 드렸으니
스바 여왕이 솔로몬 왕께 드린 향품 같은 것이 전에는 없었더라
9:9 And she gave the king a hundred and twenty talents of gold, and a great store of
spices and jewels: never had such spices been seen as the queen of Sheba gave to
Solomon.
9:9 And she gave the king an hundred and twenty talents of gold, and of spices
great abundance, and precious stones: neither was there any such spice as the
queen of Sheba gave king Solomon.
9:10 {후람의 신복들과 솔로몬의 신복들도 오빌에서 금을 실어 올 때에 백단목과
보석을 가져온지라
9:10 And the servants of Huram and the servants of Solomon, in addition to gold from
Ophir, came back with sandal-wood and jewels.
9:10 And the servants also of Huram, and the servants of Solomon, which brought
gold from Ophir, brought algum trees and precious stones.
9:11 왕이 백단목으로 여호와의 전과 왕궁의 층대를 만들고 또 노래하는 자를
위하여 수금과 비파를 만들었으니 이같은 것들은 유다 땅에서 전에는 보지 못하였더라}
9:11 And with the sandal-wood the king made steps for the house of the Lord and for the
king's house, and instruments of music for the makers of melody; never before had
such been seen in the land of Judah.
9:11 And the king made of the algum trees terraces to the house of the LORD,
and to the king's palace, and harps and psalteries for singers: and there were
none such seen before in the land of Judah.
9:12 솔로몬 왕이 스바 여왕의 가져온 대로 답례하고 그 외에 또 저의 소원대로
무릇 구하는 것을 주니 이에 저가 그 신복들로 더불어 본국으로 돌아갔더라
9:12 And King Solomon gave the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatever she made request
for, in addition to what she had taken to the king. So she went back to her country
with her servants.
9:12 And king Solomon gave to the queen of Sheba all her desire, whatsoever
she asked, beside that which she had brought unto the king. So she turned, and
went away to her own land, she and her servants.
9:13 ○ 솔로몬의 세입금의 중수가 육백 육십 육 금 달란트요
9:13 Now the weight of gold which came to Solomon in one year was six hundred and sixty-six
talents;
9:13 Now the weight of gold that came to Solomon in one year was six hundred
and threescore and six talents of gold;
9:14 그 외에 또 상고와 객상들의 가져온 것이 있고 아라비아 왕들과 그 나라
방백들도 금과 은을 솔로몬에게 가져온지라
9:14 And in addition to what he got from traders of different sorts, all the kings of
Arabia and the rulers of the country gave gold and silver to Solomon.
9:14 Beside that which chapmen and merchants brought. And all the kings of
Arabia and governors of the country brought gold and silver to Solomon.
9:15 솔로몬 왕이 쳐서 늘인 금으로 큰 방패 이백을 만들었으니 매 방패에 든
금이 육백 세겔이며
9:15 And King Solomon made two hundred body-covers of hammered gold, every one having
six hundred shekels of gold in it.
9:15 And king Solomon made two hundred targets of beaten gold: six hundred
shekels of beaten gold went to one target.
9:16 또 쳐서 늘인 금으로 작은 방패 삼백을 만들었으니 매 방패에 든 금이 삼백
세겔이라 왕이 이것들을 레바논 나무 궁에 두었더라
9:16 And he made three hundred smaller body-covers of hammered gold, using three hundred
shekels of gold for every cover, and the king put them in the house of the Woods
of Lebanon.
9:16 And three hundred shields made he of beaten gold: three hundred shekels
of gold went to one shield. And the king put them in the house of the forest
of Lebanon.
9:17 왕이 또 상아로 큰 보좌를 만들고 정금으로 입혔으니
9:17 Then the king made a great ivory seat, plated with the best gold.
9:17 Moreover the king made a great throne of ivory, and overlaid it with
pure gold.
9:18 그 보좌에는 여섯 층계와 금 족대가 있어 보좌와 연하였고 앉는 자리 양편에는
팔걸이가 있고 팔걸이 곁에는 사자가 하나씩 섰으며
9:18 There were six steps up to it, and a foot-rest of gold fixed to it, and arms on
the two sides of the seat, with two lions at the side of the arms.
9:18 And there were six steps to the throne, with a footstool of gold, which
were fastened to the throne, and stays on each side of the sitting place, and
two lions standing by the stays:
9:19 또 열 두 사자가 있어 그 여섯 층계 좌우편에 섰으니 아무 나라에도 이같이
만든 것이 없었더라
9:19 And twelve lions were placed on one side and on the other side on the six steps:
there was nothing like it in any kingdom.
9:19 And twelve lions stood there on the one side and on the other upon the
six steps. There was not the like made in any kingdom.
9:20 솔로몬 왕의 마시는 그릇은 다 금이요 레바논 나무 궁의 그릇들도 다 정금이라
솔로몬의 시대에 은을 귀히 여기지 아니함은
9:20 All King Solomon's drinking-vessels were of gold, and all the vessels of the house
of the Woods of Lebanon were of the best gold: no one gave a thought to silver in
the days of Solomon.
9:20 And all the drinking vessels of king Solomon were of gold, and all the
vessels of the house of the forest of Lebanon were of pure gold: none were of
silver; it was not any thing accounted of in the days of Solomon.
9:21 왕의 배들이 후람의 종들과 함께 다시스로 다니며 그 배가 삼 년에 일차씩
금과 은과 상아와 잔나비와 공작을 실어옴이더라
9:21 For the king had Tarshish-ships sailing with the servants of Huram: once every three
years the Tarshish-ships came back with gold and silver, ivory and monkeys and peacocks.
9:21 For the king's ships went to Tarshish with the servants of Huram: every
three years once came the ships of Tarshish bringing gold, and silver, ivory,
and apes, and peacocks.
9:22 ○ 솔로몬 왕의 재산과 지혜가 천하 열왕보다 큰지라
9:22 And King Solomon was greater than all the kings of the earth in wealth and in wisdom.
9:22 And king Solomon passed all the kings of the earth in riches and wisdom.
9:23 천하 열왕이 하나님께서 솔로몬의 마음에 주신 지혜를 들으며 그 얼굴을
보기 원하여
9:23 And all the kings of the earth came to see Solomon and to give ear to his wisdom,
which God had put into his heart.
9:23 And all the kings of the earth sought the presence of Solomon, to hear
his wisdom, that God had put in his heart.
9:24 각기 예물을 가지고 왔으니 곧 은 그릇과 금 그릇과 의복과 갑옷과 향품과
말과 노새라 해마다 정한 수가 있었더라
9:24 And everyone took with him an offering, vessels of silver and vessels of gold, and
robes, and coats of metal, and spices, and horses and beasts for transport, regularly
year by year.
9:24 And they brought every man his present, vessels of silver, and vessels
of gold, and raiment, harness, and spices, horses, and mules, a rate year by
year.
9:25 솔로몬의 병거 메는 말의 외양간이 사천이요 마병이 일만 이천이라 병거성에도
두고 예루살렘 왕에게도 두었으며
9:25 Solomon had four thousand buildings for his horses and his war-carriages, and twelve
thousand horsemen whom he kept, some in the carriage-towns and some with the king
in Jerusalem.
9:25 And Solomon had four thousand stalls for horses and chariots, and twelve
thousand horsemen; whom he bestowed in the chariot cities, and with the king
at Jerusalem.
9:26 솔로몬이 유브라데 강에서부터 블레셋 땅과 애굽 지경까지의 열왕을 관할하였으며
9:26 And he was ruler over all the kings from the River to the land of the Philistines,
as far as the limit of Egypt.
9:26 And he reigned over all the kings from the river even unto the land
of the Philistines, and to the border of Egypt.
9:27 왕이 예루살렘에서 은을 돌 같이 흔하게 하고 백향목을 평지의 뽕나무 같이
많게 하였더라
9:27 The king made silver as common as stones in Jerusalem and cedars like the sycamore-trees
of the lowlands in number.
9:27 And the king made silver in Jerusalem as stones, and cedar trees made
he as the sycomore trees that are in the low plains in abundance.
9:28 솔로몬을 위하여 애굽과 각국에서 말들을 내어왔더라
9:28 They got horses for Solomon from Egypt and from every land.
9:28 And they brought unto Solomon horses out of Egypt, and out of all lands.
9:29 ○ 이 외에 솔로몬의 시종 행적은 선지자 나단의 글과 실로 사람 아히야의
예언과 선견자 잇도의 묵시책 곧 잇도가 느밧의 아들 여로보암에게 대하여 쓴 책에
기록되지 아니하였느냐
9:29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not recorded in the
history of Nathan the prophet, and in the words of Ahijah the prophet of Shiloh,
and in the visions of Iddo the seer about Jeroboam, the son of Nebat?
9:29 Now the rest of the acts of Solomon, first and last, are they not written
in the book of Nathan the prophet, and in the prophecy of Ahijah the Shilonite,
and in the visions of Iddo the seer against Jeroboam the son of Nebat?
9:30 솔로몬이 예루살렘에서 온 이스라엘을 다스린 지 사십 년이라
9:30 Solomon was king over Israel in Jerusalem for forty years.
9:30 And Solomon reigned in Jerusalem over all Israel forty years.
9:31 솔로몬이 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 부친 다윗의 성에 장사되고 그 아들 르호보암이
대신하여 왕이 되니라
9:31 And Solomon went to rest with his fathers, and was put into the earth in the town
of David his father; and Rehoboam his son became king in his place.
9:31 And Solomon slept with his fathers, and he was buried in the city of
David his father: and Rehoboam his son reigned in his position.
