1:1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
1:1 Berbahagialah orang yang tidak berjalan menurut nasihat orang fasik, yang tidak berdiri di jalan orang berdosa, dan yang tidak duduk dalam kumpulan pencemooh,
1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
1:2 tetapi yang kesukaannya ialah Taurat TUHAN, dan yang merenungkan Taurat itu siang dan malam.
1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
1:3 Ia seperti pohon, yang ditanam di tepi aliran air, yang menghasilkan buahnya pada musimnya, dan yang tidak layu daunnya; apa saja yang diperbuatnya berhasil.
1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
1:4 Bukan demikian orang fasik: mereka seperti sekam yang ditiupkan angin.
1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:5 Sebab itu orang fasik tidak akan tahan dalam penghakiman, begitu pula orang berdosa dalam perkumpulan orang benar;
1:6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
1:6 sebab TUHAN mengenal jalan orang benar, tetapi jalan orang fasik menuju kebinasaan.
2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2:1 Mengapa rusuh bangsa-bangsa, mengapa suku-suku bangsa mereka-reka perkara yang sia-sia?
2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
2:2 Raja-raja dunia bersiap-siap dan para pembesar bermufakat bersama-sama melawan TUHAN dan yang diurapi-Nya:
2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
2:3 "Marilah kita memutuskan belenggu-belenggu mereka dan membuang tali-tali mereka dari pada kita!"
2:4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
2:4 Dia, yang bersemayam di sorga, tertawa; Tuhan mengolok-olok mereka.
2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
2:5 Maka berkatalah Ia kepada mereka dalam murka-Nya dan mengejutkan mereka dalam kehangatan amarah-Nya:
2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
2:6 "Akulah yang telah melantik raja-Ku di Sion, gunung-Ku yang kudus!"
2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.
2:7 Aku mau menceritakan tentang ketetapan TUHAN; Ia berkata kepadaku: "Anak-Ku engkau! Engkau telah Kuperanakkan pada hari ini.
2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for yours inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
2:8 Mintalah kepada-Ku, maka bangsa-bangsa akan Kuberikan kepadamu menjadi milik pusakamu, dan ujung bumi menjadi kepunyaanmu.
2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
2:9 Engkau akan meremukkan mereka dengan gada besi, memecahkan mereka seperti tembikar tukang periuk."
2:10 Be wise now therefore, O all of you kings: be instructed, all of you judges of the earth.
2:10 Oleh sebab itu, hai raja-raja, bertindaklah bijaksana, terimalah pengajaran, hai para hakim dunia!
2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
2:11 Beribadahlah kepada TUHAN dengan takut dan ciumlah kaki-Nya dengan gemetar,
2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and all of you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.
2:12 supaya Ia jangan murka dan kamu binasa di jalan, sebab mudah sekali murka-Nya menyala. Berbahagialah semua orang yang berlindung pada-Nya!

3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
3:1 Ya TUHAN, betapa banyaknya lawanku! Banyak orang yang bangkit menyerang aku;
3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3:2 banyak orang yang berkata tentang aku: "Baginya tidak ada pertolongan dari pada Allah." Sela
3:3 But you, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
3:3 Tetapi Engkau, TUHAN, adalah perisai yang melindungi aku, Engkaulah kemuliaanku dan yang mengangkat kepalaku.
3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.

3:5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
3:5 Aku membaringkan diri, lalu tidur; aku bangun, sebab TUHAN menopang aku!
3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
3:6 Aku tidak takut kepada puluhan ribu orang yang siap mengepung aku.
3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for you have smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
3:7 Bangkitlah, TUHAN, tolonglah aku, ya Allahku! Ya, Engkau telah memukul rahang semua musuhku, dan mematahkan gigi orang-orang fasik.
3:8 Salvation belongs unto the LORD: your blessing is upon your people. Selah.
3:8 Dari TUHAN datang pertolongan. Berkat-Mu atas umat-Mu! Sela

4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
4:1 Apabila aku berseru, jawablah aku, ya Allah, yang membenarkan aku. Di dalam kesesakan Engkau memberi kelegaan kepadaku. Kasihanilah aku dan dengarkanlah doaku!
4:2 O all of you sons of men, how long will all of you turn my glory into shame? how long will all of you love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
4:2 Hai orang-orang, berapa lama lagi kemuliaanku dinodai, berapa lama lagi kamu mencintai yang sia-sia dan mencari kebohongan? Sela
4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4:3 Ketahuilah, bahwa TUHAN telah memilih bagi-Nya seorang yang dikasihi-Nya; TUHAN mendengarkan, apabila aku berseru kepada-Nya.
4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
4:4 Biarlah kamu marah, tetapi jangan berbuat dosa; berkata-katalah dalam hatimu di tempat tidurmu, tetapi tetaplah diam. Sela
4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
4:5 Persembahkanlah korban yang benar dan percayalah kepada TUHAN.
4:6 There be many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift you up the light of your countenance upon us.
4:6 Banyak orang berkata: "Siapa yang akan memperlihatkan yang baik kepada kita?" Biarlah cahaya wajah-Mu menyinari kami, ya TUHAN!
4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
4:7 Engkau telah memberikan sukacita kepadaku, lebih banyak dari pada mereka ketika mereka kelimpahan gandum dan anggur.
4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.

5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
5:1 Berilah telinga kepada perkataanku, ya TUHAN, indahkanlah keluh kesahku.
5:2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto you will I pray.
5:2 Perhatikanlah teriakku minta tolong, ya Rajaku dan Allahku, sebab kepada-Mulah aku berdoa.
5:3 My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto you, and will look up.
5:3 TUHAN, pada waktu pagi Engkau mendengar seruanku, pada waktu pagi aku mengatur persembahan bagi-Mu, dan aku menunggu-nunggu.
5:4 For you are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.
5:4 Sebab Engkau bukanlah Allah yang berkenan kepada kefasikan; orang jahat takkan menumpang pada-Mu.
5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.
5:5 Pembual tidak akan tahan di depan mata-Mu; Engkau membenci semua orang yang melakukan kejahatan.
5:6 You shall destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will detest the bloody and deceitful man.
5:6 Engkau membinasakan orang-orang yang berkata bohong, TUHAN jijik melihat penumpah darah dan penipu.
5:7 But as for me, I will come into your house in the multitude of your mercy: and in your fear will I worship toward your holy temple.
5:7 Tetapi aku, berkat kasih setia-Mu yang besar, aku akan masuk ke dalam rumah-Mu, sujud menyembah ke arah bait-Mu yang kudus dengan takut akan Engkau.
5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of mine enemies; make your way straight before my face.
5:8 TUHAN, tuntunlah aku dalam keadilan-Mu karena seteruku; ratakanlah jalan-Mu di depanku.
5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue.
5:9 Sebab perkataan mereka tidak ada yang jujur, batin mereka penuh kebusukan, kerongkongan mereka seperti kubur ternganga, lidah mereka merayu-rayu.
5:10 Destroy you them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.
5:10 Biarlah mereka menanggung kesalahan mereka, ya Allah, biarlah mereka jatuh karena rancangannya sendiri; buanglah mereka karena banyaknya pelanggaran mereka, sebab mereka memberontak terhadap Engkau.
5:11 But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also that love your name be joyful in you.
5:11 Tetapi semua orang yang berlindung pada-Mu akan bersukacita, mereka akan bersorak-sorai selama-lamanya, karena Engkau menaungi mereka; dan karena Engkau akan bersukaria orang-orang yang mengasihi nama-Mu.
5:12 For you, LORD, will bless the righteous; with favour will you compass him as with a shield.
5:12 Sebab Engkaulah yang memberkati orang benar, ya TUHAN; Engkau memagari dia dengan anugerah-Mu seperti perisai.

6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in yours anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
6:1 Ya TUHAN, janganlah menghukum aku dalam murka-Mu, dan janganlah menghajar aku dalam kepanasan amarah-Mu.
6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
6:2 Kasihanilah aku, TUHAN, sebab aku merana; sembuhkanlah aku, TUHAN, sebab tulang-tulangku gemetar,
6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but you, O LORD, how long?
6:3 dan jiwakupun sangat terkejut; tetapi Engkau, TUHAN, berapa lama lagi?
6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies' sake.
6:4 Kembalilah pula, TUHAN, luputkanlah jiwaku, selamatkanlah aku oleh karena kasih setia-Mu.
6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?
6:5 Sebab di dalam maut tidaklah orang ingat kepada-Mu; siapakah yang akan bersyukur kepada-Mu di dalam dunia orang mati?
6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
6:6 Lesu aku karena mengeluh; setiap malam aku menggenangi tempat tidurku, dengan air mataku aku membanjiri ranjangku.
6:7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxs old because of all mine enemies.
6:7 Mataku mengidap karena sakit hati, rabun karena semua lawanku.
6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
6:8 Menjauhlah dari padaku, kamu sekalian yang melakukan kejahatan, sebab TUHAN telah mendengar tangisku;
6:9 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
6:9 TUHAN telah mendengar permohonanku, TUHAN menerima doaku.
6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.
6:10 Semua musuhku mendapat malu dan sangat terkejut; mereka mundur dan mendapat malu dalam sekejap mata.

7:1 O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
7:1 Ya TUHAN, Allahku, pada-Mu aku berlindung; selamatkanlah aku dari semua orang yang mengejar aku dan lepaskanlah aku,
7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
7:2 supaya jangan mereka seperti singa menerkam aku dan menyeret aku, dengan tidak ada yang melepaskan.
7:3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
7:3 Ya TUHAN, Allahku, jika aku berbuat ini: jika ada kecurangan di tanganku,
7:4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
7:4 jika aku melakukan yang jahat terhadap orang yang hidup damai dengan aku, atau merugikan orang yang melawan aku dengan tidak ada alasannya,
7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
7:5 maka musuh kiranya mengejar aku sampai menangkap aku, dan menginjak-injak hidupku ke tanah, dan menaruh kemuliaanku ke dalam debu. Sela
7:6 Arise, O LORD, in yours anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.
7:6 Bangkitlah, TUHAN, dalam murka-Mu, berdirilah menghadapi geram orang-orang yang melawan aku, bangunlah untukku, ya Engkau yang telah memerintahkan penghakiman!
7:7 So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.
7:7 Biarlah bangsa-bangsa berkumpul mengelilingi Engkau, dan bertakhtalah di atas mereka di tempat yang tinggi.
7:8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
7:8 TUHAN mengadili bangsa-bangsa. Hakimilah aku, TUHAN, apakah aku benar, dan apakah aku tulus ikhlas.
7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.
7:9 Biarlah berakhir kejahatan orang fasik, tetapi teguhkanlah orang yang benar, Engkau, yang menguji hati dan batin orang, ya Allah yang adil.
7:10 My defence is of God, which saves the upright in heart.
7:10 Perisai bagiku adalah Allah, yang menyelamatkan orang-orang yang tulus hati;
7:11 God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.

7:12 If he turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.

7:13 He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.

7:14 Behold, he labors with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
7:14 Sesungguhnya, orang itu hamil dengan kejahatan, ia mengandung kelaliman dan melahirkan dusta.
7:15 He made a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
7:15 Ia membuat lobang dan menggalinya, tetapi ia sendiri jatuh ke dalam pelubang yang dibuatnya.
7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own crown of the head.
7:16 Kelaliman yang dilakukannya kembali menimpa kepalanya, dan kekerasannya turun menimpa batu kepalanya.
7:17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

8:1 O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.
8:1 Ya TUHAN, Tuhan kami, betapa mulianya nama-Mu di seluruh bumi! Keagungan-Mu yang mengatasi langit dinyanyikan.
8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and infants have you ordained strength because of yours enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger.
8:2 Dari mulut bayi-bayi dan anak-anak yang menyusu telah Kauletakkan dasar kekuatan karena lawan-Mu, untuk membungkamkan musuh dan pendendam.
8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;
8:3 Jika aku melihat langit-Mu, buatan jari-Mu, bulan dan bintang-bintang yang Kautempatkan:
8:4 What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?
8:4 apakah manusia, sehingga Engkau mengingatnya? Apakah anak manusia, sehingga Engkau mengindahkannya?
8:5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour.
8:5 Namun Engkau telah membuatnya hampir sama seperti Allah, dan telah memahkotainya dengan kemuliaan dan hormat.
8:6 You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet:
8:6 Engkau membuat dia berkuasa atas buatan tangan-Mu; segala-galanya telah Kauletakkan di bawah kakinya:
8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8:7 kambing domba dan lembu sapi sekalian, juga binatang-binatang di padang;
8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.
8:8 burung-burung di udara dan ikan-ikan di laut, dan apa yang melintasi arus lautan.
8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!
8:9 Ya TUHAN, Tuhan kami, betapa mulianya nama-Mu di seluruh bumi!

9:1 I will praise you, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all your marvellous works.
9:1 Aku mau bersyukur kepada TUHAN dengan segenap hatiku, aku mau menceritakan segala perbuatan-Mu yang ajaib;
9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you: I will sing praise to your name, O you most High.
9:2 aku mau bersukacita dan bersukaria karena Engkau, bermazmur bagi nama-Mu, ya Mahatinggi,
9:3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.
9:3 sebab musuhku mundur, tersandung jatuh dan binasa di hadapan-Mu.
9:4 For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat in the throne judging right.
9:4 Sebab Engkau membela perkaraku dan hakku, sebagai Hakim yang adil Engkau duduk di atas takhta.
9:5 You have rebuked the heathen, you have destroyed the wicked, you have put out their name for ever and ever.
9:5 Engkau telah menghardik bangsa-bangsa, telah membinasakan orang-orang fasik; nama mereka telah Kauhapuskan untuk seterusnya dan selama-lamanya;
9:6 O you enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and you have destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
9:6 musuh telah habis binasa, menjadi timbunan puing senantiasa: kota-kota telah Kauruntuhkan; lenyaplah ingatan kepadanya.
9:7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.
9:7 Tetapi TUHAN bersemayam untuk selama-lamanya, takhta-Nya didirikan-Nya untuk menjalankan penghakiman.
9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9:8 Dialah yang menghakimi dunia dengan keadilan dan mengadili bangsa-bangsa dengan kebenaran.
9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
9:9 Demikianlah TUHAN adalah tempat perlindungan bagi orang yang terinjak, tempat perlindungan pada waktu kesesakan.
9:10 And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
9:10 Orang yang mengenal nama-Mu percaya kepada-Mu, sebab tidak Kautinggalkan orang yang mencari Engkau, ya TUHAN.
9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
9:11 Bermazmurlah bagi TUHAN, yang bersemayam di Sion, beritakanlah perbuatan-Nya di antara bangsa-bangsa,
9:12 When he makes inquisition for blood, he remembers them: he forgets not the cry of the humble.
9:12 sebab Dia, yang membalas penumpahan darah, ingat kepada orang yang tertindas; teriak mereka tidaklah dilupakan-Nya.
9:13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, you that lift me up from the gates of death:
9:13 Kasihanilah aku, ya TUHAN; lihatlah sengsaraku, disebabkan oleh orang-orang yang membenci aku, ya Engkau, yang mengangkat aku dari pintu gerbang maut,
9:14 That I may show forth all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in your salvation.
9:14 supaya aku menceritakan segala perbuatan-Mu yang terpuji dan bersorak-sorak di pintu gerbang puteri Sion karena keselamatan yang dari pada-Mu.
9:15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
9:15 Bangsa-bangsa terbenam dalam pelubang yang dibuatnya, kakinya tertangkap dalam jaring yang dipasangnya sendiri.
9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
9:16 TUHAN telah memperkenalkan diri-Nya, Ia menjalankan penghakiman; orang fasik terjerat dalam perbuatan tangannya sendiri. Higayon. Sela
9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
9:17 Orang-orang fasik akan kembali ke dunia orang mati, ya, segala bangsa yang melupakan Allah.
9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
9:18 Sebab bukan untuk seterusnya orang miskin dilupakan, bukan untuk selamanya hilang harapan orang sengsara.
9:19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in your sight.
9:19 Bangkitlah, TUHAN, janganlah manusia merajalela; biarlah bangsa-bangsa dihakimi di hadapan-Mu!
9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.

10:1 Mengapa Engkau berdiri jauh-jauh, ya TUHAN, dan menyembunyikan diri-Mu dalam waktu-waktu kesesakan?
10:2 The wicked in his pride does persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
10:2 Karena congkak orang fasik giat memburu orang yang tertindas; mereka terjebak dalam tipu daya yang mereka rancangkan.
10:3 For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, whom the LORD detests.
10:3 Karena orang fasik memuji-muji keinginan hatinya, dan orang yang loba mengutuki dan menista TUHAN.
10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
10:4 Kata orang fasik itu dengan batang hidungnya ke atas: "Allah tidak akan menuntut! Tidak ada Allah!", itulah seluruh pikirannya.
10:5 His ways are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them.
10:5 Tindakan-tindakannya selalu berhasil; hukum-hukum-Mu tinggi sekali, jauh dari dia; ia menganggap remeh semua lawannya.
10:6 He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
10:6 Ia berkata dalam hatinya: "Aku takkan goyang. Aku tidak akan ditimpa malapetaka turun-temurun."
10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
10:7 Mulutnya penuh dengan sumpah serapah, dengan tipu dan penindasan; di lidahnya ada kelaliman dan kejahatan.
10:8 He sits in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places does he murder the innocent: his eyes are privately set against the poor.

10:11 He has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he hides his face; he will never see it.

10:12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up yours hand: forget not the humble.

10:13 Wherefore does the wicked contemn God? he has said in his heart, You will not require it.
10:13 Mengapa orang fasik menista Allah, sambil berkata dalam hatinya: "Engkau tidak menuntut?"
10:14 You have seen it; for you behold mischief and spite, to requite it with your hand: the poor commits himself unto you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
10:14 Engkau memang melihatnya, sebab Engkaulah yang melihat kesusahan dan sakit hati, supaya Engkau mengambilnya ke dalam tangan-Mu sendiri. Kepada-Mulah orang lemah menyerahkan diri; untuk anak yatim Engkau menjadi penolong.
10:15 Break you the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till you find none.
10:15 Patahkanlah lengan orang fasik dan orang jahat, tuntutlah kefasikannya, sampai Engkau tidak menemuinya lagi.
10:16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
10:16 TUHAN adalah Raja untuk seterusnya dan selama-lamanya. Bangsa-bangsa lenyap dari tanah-Nya.
10:17 LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble: you will prepare their heart, you will cause yours ear to hear:
10:17 Keinginan orang-orang yang tertindas telah Kaudengarkan, ya TUHAN; Engkau menguatkan hati mereka, Engkau memasang telinga-Mu,
10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.
10:18 untuk memberi keadilan kepada anak yatim dan orang yang terinjak; supaya tidak ada lagi seorang manusia di bumi yang berani menakut-nakuti.

11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say all of you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
11:1 Pada TUHAN aku berlindung, bagaimana kamu berani berkata kepadaku: "Terbanglah ke gunung seperti burung!"
11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privately shoot at the upright in heart.
11:2 Sebab, lihat orang fasik melentur busurnya, mereka memasang anak panahnya pada tali busur, untuk memanah orang yang tulus hati di tempat gelap.
11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
11:3 Apabila dasar-dasar dihancurkan, apakah yang dapat dibuat oleh orang benar itu?
11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
11:4 TUHAN ada di dalam bait-Nya yang kudus; TUHAN, takhta-Nya di sorga; mata-Nya mengamat-amati, sorot mata-Nya menguji anak-anak manusia.
11:5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence his soul hates.
11:5 TUHAN menguji orang benar dan orang fasik, dan Ia membenci orang yang mencintai kekerasan.
11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
11:6 Ia menghujani orang-orang fasik dengan arang berapi dan belerang; angin yang menghanguskan, itulah isi piala mereka.
11:7 For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance does behold the upright.

12:1 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceases; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
12:1 Tolonglah kiranya, TUHAN, sebab orang saleh telah habis, telah lenyap orang-orang yang setia dari antara anak-anak manusia.
12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
12:2 Mereka berkata dusta, yang seorang kepada yang lain, mereka berkata dengan bibir yang manis dan hati yang bercabang.
12:3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:
12:3 Biarlah TUHAN mengerat segala bibir yang manis dan setiap lidah yang bercakap besar,

12:7 You shall keep them, O LORD, you shall preserve them from this generation for ever.

12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

13:4 Lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

13:5 But I have trusted in your mercy; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.

14:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.
14:1 Orang bebal berkata dalam hatinya: "Tidak ada Allah." Busuk dan jijik perbuatan mereka, tidak ada yang berbuat baik.
14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
14:2 TUHAN memandang ke bawah dari sorga kepada anak-anak manusia untuk melihat, apakah ada yang berakal budi dan yang mencari Allah.
14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.

14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.

14:5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
14:5 Di sanalah mereka ditimpa kekejutan yang besar, sebab Allah menyertai angkatan yang benar.
14:6 All of you have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
14:6 Kamu dapat mengolok-olok maksud orang yang tertindas, tetapi TUHAN adalah tempat perlindungannya.
14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
14:7 Ya, datanglah kiranya dari Sion keselamatan bagi Israel! Apabila TUHAN memulihkan keadaan umat-Nya, maka Yakub akan bersorak-sorak, Israel akan bersukacita.

15:1 Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill?
15:1 TUHAN, siapa yang boleh menumpang dalam kemah-Mu? Siapa yang boleh diam di gunung-Mu yang kudus?
15:2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
15:2 Yaitu dia yang berlaku tidak bercela, yang melakukan apa yang adil dan yang mengatakan kebenaran dengan segenap hatinya,
15:3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbour.
15:3 yang tidak menyebarkan fitnah dengan lidahnya, yang tidak berbuat jahat terhadap temannya dan yang tidak menimpakan cela kepada tetangganya;
15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not.

16:1 Preserve me, O God: for in you do I put my trust.
16:1 Jagalah aku, ya Allah, sebab pada-Mu aku berlindung.
16:2 O my soul, you have said unto the LORD, You are my Lord: my goodness extends not to you;
16:2 Aku berkata kepada TUHAN: "Engkaulah Tuhanku, tidak ada yang baik bagiku selain Engkau!"
16:3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
16:3 Orang-orang kudus yang ada di tanah ini, merekalah orang mulia yang selalu menjadi kesukaanku.
16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
16:4 Bertambah besar kesedihan orang-orang yang mengikuti allah lain; aku tidak akan ikut mempersembahkan korban curahan mereka yang dari darah, juga tidak akan menyebut-nyebut nama mereka di bibirku.

16:5 Ya TUHAN, Engkaulah bagian warisanku dan pialaku, Engkau sendirilah yang meneguhkan bagian yang diundikan kepadaku.
16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.

16:7 I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.

16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

17:2 Let my sentence come forth from your presence; let yours eyes behold the things that are equal.
17:2 Dari pada-Mulah kiranya datang penghakiman: mata-Mu kiranya melihat apa yang benar.
17:3 You have proved mine heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tried me, and shall find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
17:3 Bila Engkau menguji hatiku, memeriksanya pada waktu malam, dan menyelidiki aku, maka Engkau tidak akan menemui sesuatu kejahatan; mulutku tidak terlanjur.
17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
17:4 Tentang perbuatan manusia, sesuai dengan firman yang Engkau ucapkan, aku telah menjaga diriku terhadap jalan orang-orang yang melakukan kekerasan;
17:5 Hold up my activities in your paths, that my footsteps slip not.
17:5 langkahku tetap mengikuti jejak-Mu, kakiku tidak goyang.
17:6 I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O God: incline yours ear unto me, and hear my speech.

17:7 Show your marvellous loving kindness, O you that save by your right hand them which put their trust in you from those that rise up against them.

17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings,

17:9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.

17:15 As for me, I will behold your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.
17:15 Tetapi aku, dalam kebenaran akan kupandang wajah-Mu, dan pada waktu bangun aku akan menjadi puas dengan rupa-Mu.

18:1 I will love you, O LORD, my strength.
18:1 Ia berkata: "Aku mengasihi Engkau, ya TUHAN, kekuatanku!
18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
18:2 Ya TUHAN, bukit batuku, kubu pertahananku dan penyelamatku, Allahku, gunung batuku, tempat aku berlindung, perisaiku, tanduk keselamatanku, kota bentengku!
18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
18:3 Terpujilah TUHAN, seruku; maka akupun selamat dari pada musuhku.
18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
18:4 Tali-tali maut telah meliliti aku, dan banjir-banjir jahanam telah menimpa aku,
18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
18:5 tali-tali dunia orang mati telah membelit aku, perangkap-perangkap maut terpasang di depanku.
18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
18:6 Ketika aku dalam kesesakan, aku berseru kepada TUHAN, kepada Allahku aku berteriak minta tolong. Ia mendengar suaraku dari bait-Nya, teriakku minta tolong kepada-Nya sampai ke telinga-Nya.
18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.
18:7 Lalu goyang dan goncanglah bumi, dan dasar-dasar gunung gemetar dan goyang, oleh karena menyala-nyala murka-Nya.
18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
18:8 Asap membubung dari hidung-Nya, api menjilat keluar dari mulut-Nya, bara menyala keluar dari pada-Nya.
18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.

18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.

18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
18:13 Maka TUHAN mengguntur di langit, Yang Mahatinggi memperdengarkan suara-Nya.
18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and humiliated them.
18:14 Dilepaskan-Nya panah-panah-Nya, sehingga diserakkan-Nya mereka, kilat bertubi-tubi, sehingga dikacaukan-Nya mereka.
18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
18:15 Lalu kelihatanlah dasar-dasar lautan, dan tersingkaplah alas-alas dunia karena hardik-Mu, ya TUHAN, karena hembusan nafas dari hidung-Mu.
18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
18:16 Ia menjangkau dari tempat tinggi, mengambil aku, menarik aku dari banjir.
18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18:17 Ia melepaskan aku dari musuhku yang gagah dan dari orang-orang yang membenci aku, karena mereka terlalu kuat bagiku.
18:18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
18:18 Mereka menghadang aku pada hari sialku, tetapi TUHAN menjadi sandaran bagiku;
18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.

18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.
18:20 TUHAN memperlakukan aku sesuai dengan kebenaranku, Ia membalas kepadaku sesuai dengan kesucian tanganku,
18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
18:21 sebab aku tetap mengikuti jalan TUHAN dan tidak berlaku fasik terhadap Allahku.
18:22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
18:22 Sebab segala hukum-Nya kuperhatikan, dan ketetapan-Nya tidaklah kujauhkan dari padaku;
18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
18:23 aku berlaku tidak bercela di hadapan-Nya, dan menjaga diri terhadap kesalahan.
18:24 Therefore has the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
18:24 Karena itu TUHAN membalas kepadaku sesuai dengan kebenaranku, sesuai dengan kesucian tanganku di depan mata-Nya.
18:25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with an upright man you will show yourself upright;
18:25 Terhadap orang yang setia Engkau berlaku setia, terhadap orang yang tidak bercela Engkau berlaku tidak bercela,
18:26 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the perverse you will show yourself perverse.
18:26 terhadap orang yang suci Engkau berlaku suci, tetapi terhadap orang yang bengkok Engkau berlaku belat-belit.
18:27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks.
18:27 Karena Engkaulah yang menyelamatkan bangsa yang tertindas, tetapi orang yang memandang dengan congkak Kaurendahkan.
18:28 For you will light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
18:28 Karena Engkaulah yang membuat pelitaku bercahaya; TUHAN, Allahku, menyinari kegelapanku.
18:29 For by you I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
18:29 Karena dengan Engkau aku berani menghadapi gerombolan, dan dengan Allahku aku berani melompati tembok.
18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
18:30 Adapun Allah, jalan-Nya sempurna; janji TUHAN adalah murni; Dia menjadi perisai bagi semua orang yang berlindung pada-Nya.
18:31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
18:31 Sebab siapakah Allah selain dari TUHAN, dan siapakah gunung batu kecuali Allah kita?
18:32 It is God that girds me with strength, and makes my way perfect.
18:32 Allah, Dialah yang mengikat pinggangku dengan keperkasaan dan membuat jalanku rata;
18:33 He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.
18:33 yang membuat kakiku seperti kaki rusa dan membuat aku berdiri di bukit;
18:34 He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
18:34 yang mengajar tanganku berperang, sehingga lenganku dapat melenturkan busur tembaga.
18:35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
18:35 Kauberikan kepadaku perisai keselamatan-Mu, tangan kanan-Mu menyokong aku, kemurahan-Mu membuat aku besar.
18:36 You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
18:36 Kauberikan tempat lapang untuk langkahku, dan mata kakiku tidak goyah.
18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I return till they were consumed.
18:37 Aku mengejar musuhku sampai kutangkap mereka, dan tidak berbalik sebelum mereka kuhabiskan;
18:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.
18:38 aku meremukkan mereka, sehingga mereka tidak dapat bangkit lagi; mereka rebah di bawah kakiku.
18:39 For you have girded me with strength unto the battle: you have subdued under me those that rose up against me.
18:39 Engkau telah mengikat pinggangku dengan keperkasaan untuk berperang; Engkau tundukkan ke bawah kuasaku orang yang bangkit melawan aku.
18:40 You have also given me the necks of mine enemies; that I might destroy them that hate me.
18:40 Kaubuat musuhku lari dari padaku, dan orang-orang yang membenci aku kubinasakan.
18:41 They cried, but there was none to save them: even unto the LORD, but he answered them not.

18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.

18:43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; and you have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.

18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.

18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.

18:46 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.

18:47 It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me.

18:48 He delivers me from mine enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.

18:50 Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

19:1 The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament shows his handiwork.
19:1 Langit menceritakan kemuliaan Allah, dan cakrawala memberitakan pekerjaan tangan-Nya;
19:2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.
19:2 hari meneruskan berita itu kepada hari, dan malam menyampaikan pengetahuan itu kepada malam.
19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
19:3 Tidak ada berita dan tidak ada kata, suara mereka tidak terdengar;
19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun,
19:4 tetapi gema mereka terpencar ke seluruh dunia, dan perkataan mereka sampai ke ujung bumi. Ia memasang kemah di langit untuk matahari,
19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.

19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
19:6 Dari ujung langit ia terbit, dan ia beredar sampai ke ujung yang lain; tidak ada yang terlindung dari panas sinarnya.
19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
19:7 Taurat TUHAN itu sempurna, menyegarkan jiwa; peraturan TUHAN itu teguh, memberikan hikmat kepada orang yang tak berpengalaman.
19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
19:8 Titah TUHAN itu tepat, menyukakan hati; perintah TUHAN itu murni, membuat mata bercahaya.
19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
19:9 Takut akan TUHAN itu suci, tetap ada untuk selamanya; hukum-hukum TUHAN itu benar, adil semuanya,
19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
19:10 lebih indah dari pada emas, bahkan dari pada banyak emas tua; dan lebih manis dari pada madu, bahkan dari pada madu tetesan dari sarang lebah.
19:11 Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
19:11 Lagipula hamba-Mu diperingatkan oleh semuanya itu, dan orang yang berpegang padanya mendapat upah yang besar.
19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse you me from secret faults.
19:12 Siapakah yang dapat mengetahui kesesatan? Bebaskanlah aku dari apa yang tidak kusadari.
19:13 Keep back your servant also from arrogant sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
19:13 Lindungilah hamba-Mu, juga terhadap orang yang kurang ajar; janganlah mereka menguasai aku! Maka aku menjadi tak bercela dan bebas dari pelanggaran besar.
19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

20:1 The LORD hear you in the day of trouble; the name of the God of Jacob defend you;
20:1 Kiranya TUHAN menjawab engkau pada waktu kesesakan! Kiranya nama Allah Yakub membentengi engkau!
20:2 Send you help from the sanctuary, and strengthen you out of Zion;
20:2 Kiranya dikirimkan-Nya bantuan kepadamu dari tempat kudus dan disokong-Nya engkau dari Sion.
20:3 Remember all your offerings, and accept your burnt sacrifice; Selah.
20:3 Kiranya diingat-Nya segala korban persembahanmu, dan disukai-Nya korban bakaranmu. Sela
20:4 Grant you according to yours own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.
20:4 Kiranya diberikan-Nya kepadamu apa yang kaukehendaki dan dijadikan-Nya berhasil apa yang kaurancangkan.
20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all your petitions.

20:6 Now know I that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
20:6 Sekarang aku tahu, bahwa TUHAN memberi kemenangan kepada orang yang diurapi-Nya dan menjawabnya dari sorga-Nya yang kudus dengan kemenangan yang gilang-gemilang oleh tangan kanan-Nya.
20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

20:8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

21:2 You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

21:3 For you prevent him with the blessings of goodness: you set a crown of pure gold on his head.

21:4 He asked life of you, and you gave it him, even length of days for ever and ever.

21:6 For you have made him most blessed for ever: you have made him exceeding glad with your countenance.

21:7 For the king trusts in the LORD, and through the mercy of the most High he shall not be moved.

21:8 Yours hand shall find out all yours enemies: your right hand shall find out those that hate you.
21:8 Tangan-Mu akan menjangkau semua musuh-Mu; tangan kanan-Mu akan menjangkau orang-orang yang membenci Engkau.
21:9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of yours anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.
21:9 Engkau akan membuat mereka seperti perapian yang menyala-nyala, pada waktu Engkau menampakkan Diri, ya TUHAN. Murka TUHAN akan menelan mereka, dan api akan memakan mereka.
21:10 Their fruit shall you destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

21:11 For they intended evil against you: they imagined a mischievous device, which they are not able to perform.
21:11 Apabila mereka hendak mendatangkan malapetaka atasmu, merancangkan tipu muslihat, mereka tidak berdaya.
21:12 Therefore shall you make them turn their back, when you shall make ready yours arrows upon your strings against the face of them.
21:12 Ya, Engkau akan membuat mereka melarikan diri, dengan tali busur-Mu Engkau membidik muka mereka.
21:13 Be you exalted, LORD, in yours own strength: so will we sing and praise your power.

22:1 My God, my God, why have you forsaken me? why are you so far from helping me, and from the words of my roaring?
22:1 Allahku, Allahku, mengapa Engkau meninggalkan aku? Aku berseru, tetapi Engkau tetap jauh dan tidak menolong aku.
22:2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but you hear not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
22:2 Allahku, aku berseru-seru pada waktu siang, tetapi Engkau tidak menjawab, dan pada waktu malam, tetapi tidak juga aku tenang.
22:3 But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.
22:3 Padahal Engkaulah Yang Kudus yang bersemayam di atas puji-pujian orang Israel.
22:4 Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them.
22:4 Kepada-Mu nenek moyang kami percaya; mereka percaya, dan Engkau meluputkan mereka.
22:5 They cried unto you, and were delivered: they trusted in you, and were not confounded.

22:6 But I am a worm, and no man; a reproach of men, and despised of the people.

22:9 But you are he that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

22:10 I was cast upon you from the womb: you are my God from my mother's belly.

22:11 Be not far from me; for trouble is near; for there is none to help.
22:11 Janganlah jauh dari padaku, sebab kesusahan telah dekat, dan tidak ada yang menolong.
22:12 Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.
22:12 Banyak lembu jantan mengerumuni aku; banteng-banteng dari Basan mengepung aku;
22:13 They gaped upon me with their mouths, as a ravening and a roaring lion.
22:13 mereka mengangakan mulutnya terhadap aku seperti singa yang menerkam dan mengaum.
22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.
22:14 Seperti air aku tercurah, dan segala tulangku terlepas dari sendinya; hatiku menjadi seperti lilin, hancur luluh di dalam dadaku;
22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death.

22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

22:17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.
22:17 Segala tulangku dapat kuhitung; mereka menonton, mereka memandangi aku.
22:18 They part my garments among them, and cast lots upon my vesture.

22:19 But be not you far from me, O LORD: O my strength, haste you to help me.

22:23 All of you that fear the LORD, praise him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you the seed of Israel.
22:23 kamu yang takut akan TUHAN, pujilah Dia, hai segenap anak cucu Yakub, muliakanlah Dia, dan gentarlah terhadap Dia, hai segenap anak cucu Israel!
22:24 For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
22:24 Sebab Ia tidak memandang hina ataupun merasa jijik kesengsaraan orang yang tertindas, dan Ia tidak menyembunyikan wajah-Nya kepada orang itu, dan Ia mendengar ketika orang itu berteriak minta tolong kepada-Nya.
22:25 My praise shall be of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
22:25 Karena Engkau aku memuji-muji dalam jemaah yang besar; nazarku akan kubayar di depan mereka yang takut akan Dia.
22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
22:26 Orang yang rendah hati akan makan dan kenyang, orang yang mencari TUHAN akan memuji-muji Dia; biarlah hatimu hidup untuk selamanya!
22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.
22:27 Segala ujung bumi akan mengingatnya dan berbalik kepada TUHAN; dan segala kaum dari bangsa-bangsa akan sujud menyembah di hadapan-Nya.
22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
22:28 Sebab Tuhanlah yang empunya kerajaan, Dialah yang memerintah atas bangsa-bangsa.
22:29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
22:29 Ya, kepada-Nya akan sujud menyembah semua orang sombong di bumi, di hadapan-Nya akan berlutut semua orang yang turun ke dalam debu, dan orang yang tidak dapat menyambung hidup.
22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
22:30 Anak-anak cucu akan beribadah kepada-Nya, dan akan menceritakan tentang TUHAN kepada angkatan yang akan datang.
22:31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he has done this.

23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
23:2 Ia membaringkan aku di padang yang berumput hijau, Ia membimbing aku ke air yang tenang;
23:3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
23:3 Ia menyegarkan jiwaku. Ia menuntun aku di jalan yang benar oleh karena nama-Nya.
23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
23:4 Sekalipun aku berjalan dalam lembah kekelaman, aku tidak takut bahaya, sebab Engkau besertaku; gada-Mu dan tongkat-Mu, itulah yang menghibur aku.
23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.

23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.

24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
24:1 Tuhanlah yang empunya bumi serta segala isinya, dan dunia serta yang diam di dalamnya.
24:2 For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
24:2 Sebab Dialah yang mendasarkannya di atas lautan dan menegakkannya di atas sungai-sungai.
24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
24:3 "Siapakah yang boleh naik ke atas gunung TUHAN? Siapakah yang boleh berdiri di tempat-Nya yang kudus?"
24:4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
24:4 "Orang yang bersih tangannya dan murni hatinya, yang tidak menyerahkan dirinya kepada penipuan, dan yang tidak bersumpah palsu.
24:5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
24:5 Dialah yang akan menerima berkat dari TUHAN dan keadilan dari Allah yang menyelamatkan dia.

25:2 Allahku, kepada-Mu aku percaya; janganlah kiranya aku mendapat malu; janganlah musuh-musuhku beria-ria atas aku.
25:3 Yea, let none that wait on you be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
25:3 Ya, semua orang yang menantikan Engkau takkan mendapat malu; yang mendapat malu ialah mereka yang berbuat khianat dengan tidak ada alasannya.
25:4 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.
25:4 Beritahukanlah jalan-jalan-Mu kepadaku, ya TUHAN, tunjukkanlah itu kepadaku.
25:5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.
25:5 Bawalah aku berjalan dalam kebenaran-Mu dan ajarlah aku, sebab Engkaulah Allah yang menyelamatkan aku, Engkau kunanti-nantikan sepanjang hari.
25:6 Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your loving kindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
25:6 Ingatlah segala rahmat-Mu dan kasih setia-Mu, ya TUHAN, sebab semuanya itu sudah ada sejak purbakala.
25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to your mercy remember you me for your goodness' sake, O LORD.
25:7 Dosa-dosaku pada waktu muda dan pelanggaran-pelanggaranku janganlah Kauingat, tetapi ingatlah kepadaku sesuai dengan kasih setia-Mu, oleh karena kebaikan-Mu, ya TUHAN.
25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
25:8 TUHAN itu baik dan benar; sebab itu Ia menunjukkan jalan kepada orang yang sesat.
25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
25:9 Ia membimbing orang-orang yang rendah hati menurut hukum, dan Ia mengajarkan jalan-Nya kepada orang-orang yang rendah hati.
25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
25:10 Segala jalan TUHAN adalah kasih setia dan kebenaran bagi orang yang berpegang pada perjanjian-Nya dan peringatan-peringatan-Nya.
25:11 For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
25:11 Oleh karena nama-Mu, ya TUHAN, ampunilah kesalahanku, sebab besar kesalahan itu.
25:12 What man is he that fears the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
25:12 Siapakah orang yang takut akan TUHAN? Kepadanya TUHAN menunjukkan jalan yang harus dipilihnya.
25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
25:13 Orang itu sendiri akan menetap dalam kebahagiaan dan anak cucunya akan mewarisi bumi.
25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.

25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.

25:16 Turn you unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.

25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring you me out of my distresses.

26:1 Berilah keadilan kepadaku, ya TUHAN, sebab aku telah hidup dalam ketulusan; kepada TUHAN aku percaya dengan tidak ragu-ragu.
26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
26:2 Ujilah aku, ya TUHAN, dan cobalah aku; selidikilah batinku dan hatiku.
26:3 For your loving kindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in your truth.
26:3 Sebab mataku tertuju pada kasih setia-Mu, dan aku hidup dalam kebenaran-Mu.
26:4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

26:8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of your house, and the place where yours honour dwells.

27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
27:1 TUHAN adalah terangku dan keselamatanku, kepada siapakah aku harus takut? TUHAN adalah benteng hidupku, terhadap siapakah aku harus gemetar?
27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
27:2 Ketika penjahat-penjahat menyerang aku untuk memakan dagingku, yakni semua lawanku dan musuhku, mereka sendirilah yang tergelincir dan jatuh.
27:3 Though an host should camp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
27:3 Sekalipun tentara berkemah mengepung aku, tidak takut hatiku; sekalipun timbul peperangan melawan aku, dalam hal itupun aku tetap percaya.
27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
27:4 Satu hal telah kuminta kepada TUHAN, itulah yang kuingini: diam di rumah TUHAN seumur hidupku, menyaksikan kemurahan TUHAN dan menikmati bait-Nya.
27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
27:5 Sebab Ia melindungi aku dalam pondok-Nya pada waktu bahaya; Ia menyembunyikan aku dalam persembunyian di kemah-Nya, Ia mengangkat aku ke atas gunung batu.
27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
27:6 Maka sekarang tegaklah kepalaku, mengatasi musuhku sekeliling aku; dalam kemah-Nya aku mau mempersembahkan korban dengan sorak-sorai; aku mau menyanyi dan bermazmur bagi TUHAN.
27:7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
27:7 Dengarlah, TUHAN, seruan yang kusampaikan, kasihanilah aku dan jawablah aku!
27:8 When you said, Seek all of you my face; my heart said unto you, Your face, LORD, will I seek.
27:8 Hatiku mengikuti firman-Mu: "Carilah wajah-Ku"; maka wajah-Mu kucari, ya TUHAN.
27:9 Hide not your face far from me; put not your servant away in anger: you have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
27:9 Janganlah menyembunyikan wajah-Mu kepadaku, janganlah menolak hamba-Mu ini dengan murka; Engkaulah pertolonganku, janganlah membuang aku dan janganlah meninggalkan aku, ya Allah penyelamatku!
27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
27:10 Sekalipun ayahku dan ibuku meninggalkan aku, namun TUHAN menyambut aku.
27:11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
27:11 Tunjukkanlah jalan-Mu kepadaku, ya TUHAN, dan tuntunlah aku di jalan yang rata oleh sebab seteruku.
27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
27:12 Janganlah menyerahkan aku kepada nafsu lawanku, sebab telah bangkit menyerang aku saksi-saksi dusta, dan orang-orang yang bernafaskan kelaliman.
27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
27:13 Sesungguhnya, aku percaya akan melihat kebaikan TUHAN di negeri orang-orang yang hidup!
27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen yours heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

28:1 Unto you will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if you be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
28:1 Kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN, gunung batuku, aku berseru, janganlah berdiam diri terhadap aku, sebab, jika Engkau tetap membisu terhadap aku, aku menjadi seperti orang yang turun ke dalam liang kubur.
28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle.
28:2 Dengarkanlah suara permohonanku, apabila aku berteriak kepada-Mu minta tolong, dan mengangkat tanganku ke arah tempat-Mu yang maha kudus.
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
28:3 Janganlah menyeret aku bersama-sama dengan orang fasik ataupun dengan orang yang melakukan kejahatan, yang ramah dengan teman-temannya, tetapi yang hatinya penuh kejahatan.
28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
28:4 Ganjarilah mereka menurut perbuatan mereka dan menurut kelakuan mereka yang jahat; ganjarilah mereka setimpal dengan perbuatan tangan mereka, balaslah kepada mereka apa yang mereka lakukan.
28:5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
28:5 Karena mereka tidak mengindahkan pekerjaan TUHAN dan perbuatan tangan-Nya; Ia akan menjatuhkan mereka dan tidak membangunkan mereka lagi.
28:6 Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my supplications.
28:6 Terpujilah TUHAN, karena Ia telah mendengar suara permohonanku.
28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.
28:7 TUHAN adalah kekuatanku dan perisaiku; kepada-Nya hatiku percaya. Aku tertolong sebab itu beria-ria hatiku, dan dengan nyanyianku aku bersyukur kepada-Nya.
28:8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
28:8 TUHAN adalah kekuatan umat-Nya dan benteng keselamatan bagi orang yang diurapi-Nya!
28:9 Save your people, and bless yours inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

29:3 The voice of the LORD is upon the waters: the God of glory thunders: the LORD is upon many waters.

29:4 The voice of the LORD is powerful; the voice of the LORD is full of majesty.

29:7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

29:9 The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory.

30:2 O LORD my God, I cried unto you, and you have healed me.
30:2 TUHAN, Allahku, kepada-Mu aku berteriak minta tolong, dan Engkau telah menyembuhkan aku.
30:3 O LORD, you have brought up my soul from the grave: you have kept me alive, that I should not go down to the pit.
30:3 TUHAN, Engkau mengangkat aku dari dunia orang mati, Engkau menghidupkan aku di antara mereka yang turun ke liang kubur.
30:4 Sing unto the LORD, O all of you saints of his, and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
30:4 Nyanyikanlah mazmur bagi TUHAN, hai orang-orang yang dikasihi-Nya, dan persembahkanlah syukur kepada nama-Nya yang kudus!
30:5 For his anger endures but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.
30:5 Sebab sesaat saja Ia murka, tetapi seumur hidup Ia murah hati; sepanjang malam ada tangisan, menjelang pagi terdengar sorak-sorai.
30:6 And in my prosperity I said, I shall never be moved.

30:7 LORD, by your favour you have made my mountain to stand strong: you did hide your face, and I was troubled.
30:7 TUHAN, oleh karena Engkau berkenan, Engkau telah menempatkan aku di atas gunung yang kokoh; ketika Engkau menyembunyikan wajah-Mu, aku terkejut.
30:8 I cried to you, O LORD; and unto the LORD I made supplication.

30:9 What profit is there in my blood, when I go down to the pit? Shall the dust praise you? shall it declare your truth?
30:9 "Apakah untungnya kalau darahku tertumpah, kalau aku turun ke dalam lobang kubur? Dapatkah debu bersyukur kepada-Mu dan memberitakan kesetiaan-Mu?
30:10 Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be you my helper.

30:11 You have turned for me my mourning into dancing: you have put off my sackcloth, and girded me with gladness;

31:1 In you, O LORD, do I put my trust; let me never be ashamed: deliver me in your righteousness.
31:1 Pada-Mu, TUHAN, aku berlindung, janganlah sekali-kali aku mendapat malu. Luputkanlah aku oleh karena keadilan-Mu,
31:2 Bow down yours ear to me; deliver me speedily: be you my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
31:2 sendengkanlah telinga-Mu kepadaku, bersegeralah melepaskan aku! Jadilah bagiku gunung batu tempat perlindungan, kubu pertahanan untuk menyelamatkan aku!
31:3 For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.
31:3 Sebab Engkau bukit batuku dan pertahananku, dan oleh karena nama-Mu Engkau akan menuntun dan membimbing aku.
31:4 Pull me out of the net that they have laid privately for me: for you are my strength.
31:4 Engkau akan mengeluarkan aku dari jaring yang dipasang orang terhadap aku, sebab Engkaulah tempat perlindunganku.
31:5 Into yours hand I commit my spirit: you have redeemed me, O LORD God of truth.
31:5 Ke dalam tangan-Mulah kuserahkan nyawaku; Engkau membebaskan aku, ya TUHAN, Allah yang setia.
31:6 I have hated them that regard lying vanities: but I trust in the LORD.
31:6 Engkau benci kepada orang-orang yang memuja berhala yang sia-sia, tetapi aku percaya kepada TUHAN.
31:7 I will be glad and rejoice in your mercy: for you have considered my trouble; you have known my soul in adversities;
31:7 Aku akan bersorak-sorak dan bersukacita karena kasih setia-Mu, sebab Engkau telah menilik sengsaraku, telah memperhatikan kesesakan jiwaku,
31:8 And have not shut me up into the hand of the enemy: you have set my feet in a large room.
31:8 dan tidak menyerahkan aku ke tangan musuh, tetapi menegakkan kakiku di tempat yang lapang.
31:9 Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.
31:9 Kasihanilah aku, ya TUHAN, sebab aku merasa sesak; karena sakit hati mengidaplah mataku, meranalah jiwa dan tubuhku.
31:10 For my life is spent with grief, and my years with sighing: my strength fails because of mine iniquity, and my bones are consumed.
31:10 Sebab hidupku habis dalam duka dan tahun-tahun umurku dalam keluh kesah; kekuatanku merosot karena sengsaraku, dan tulang-tulangku menjadi lemah.
31:11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.
31:11 Di hadapan semua lawanku aku tercela, menakutkan bagi tetangga-tetanggaku, dan menjadi kekejutan bagi kenalan-kenalanku; mereka yang melihat aku di jalan lari dari padaku.
31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

31:13 For I have heard the slander of many: fear was on every side: while they took counsel together against me, they devised to take away my life.

31:14 But I trusted in you, O LORD: I said, You are my God.

31:15 My times are in your hand: deliver me from the hand of mine enemies, and from them that persecute me.

31:17 TUHAN, janganlah membiarkan aku mendapat malu, sebab aku berseru kepada-Mu; biarlah orang-orang fasik mendapat malu dan turun ke dunia orang mati dan bungkam.
31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
31:18 Biarlah bibir dusta menjadi kelu, yang mencaci maki orang benar dengan kecongkakan dan penghinaan!
31:19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!
31:19 Alangkah limpahnya kebaikan-Mu yang telah Kausimpan bagi orang yang takut akan Engkau, yang telah Kaulakukan bagi orang yang berlindung pada-Mu, di hadapan manusia!
31:20 You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.
31:20 Engkau menyembunyikan mereka dalam naungan wajah-Mu terhadap persekongkolan orang-orang; Engkau melindungi mereka dalam pondok terhadap perbantahan lidah.
31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he has showed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.
31:21 Terpujilah TUHAN, sebab kasih setia-Nya ditunjukkan-Nya kepadaku dengan ajaib pada waktu kesesakan!
31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before yours eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto you.
31:22 Aku menyangka dalam kebingunganku: "Aku telah terbuang dari hadapan mata-Mu." Tetapi sesungguhnya Engkau mendengarkan suara permohonanku, ketika aku berteriak kepada-Mu minta tolong.
31:23 O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD perserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.
31:23 Kasihilah TUHAN, hai semua orang yang dikasihi-Nya! TUHAN menjaga orang-orang yang setiawan, tetapi orang-orang yang berbuat congkak diganjar-Nya dengan tidak tanggung-tanggung.
31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.
31:24 Kuatkanlah dan teguhkanlah hatimu, hai semua orang yang berharap kepada TUHAN!

32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
32:1 Berbahagialah orang yang diampuni pelanggarannya, yang dosanya ditutupi!
32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
32:2 Berbahagialah manusia, yang kesalahannya tidak diperhitungkan TUHAN, dan yang tidak berjiwa penipu!
32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
32:3 Selama aku berdiam diri, tulang-tulangku menjadi lesu karena aku mengeluh sepanjang hari;
32:4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.
32:4 sebab siang malam tangan-Mu menekan aku dengan berat, sumsumku menjadi kering, seperti oleh teriknya musim panas. Sela
32:5 I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
32:5 Dosaku kuberitahukan kepada-Mu dan kesalahanku tidaklah kusembunyikan; aku berkata: "Aku akan mengaku kepada TUHAN pelanggaran-pelanggaranku," dan Engkau mengampuni kesalahan karena dosaku. Sela
32:6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
32:6 Sebab itu hendaklah setiap orang saleh berdoa kepada-Mu, selagi Engkau dapat ditemui; sesungguhnya pada waktu banjir besar terjadi, itu tidak melandanya.
32:7 You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
32:7 Engkaulah persembunyian bagiku, terhadap kesesakan Engkau menjaga aku, Engkau mengelilingi aku, sehingga aku luput dan bersorak. Sela
32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.
32:8 Aku hendak mengajar dan menunjukkan kepadamu jalan yang harus kautempuh; Aku hendak memberi nasihat, mata-Ku tertuju kepadamu.
32:9 Be all of you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto you.
32:9 Janganlah seperti kuda atau bagal yang tidak berakal, yang kegarangannya harus dikendalikan dengan tali les dan kekang, kalau tidak, ia tidak akan mendekati engkau.
32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.
32:10 Banyak kesakitan diderita orang fasik, tetapi orang percaya kepada TUHAN dikelilingi-Nya dengan kasih setia.
32:11 Be glad in the LORD, and rejoice, all of you righteous: and shout for joy, all you that are upright in heart.
32:11 Bersukacitalah dalam TUHAN dan bersorak-soraklah, hai orang-orang benar; bersorak-sorailah, hai orang-orang jujur!
33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O all of you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
33:1 Bersorak-sorailah, hai orang-orang benar, dalam TUHAN! Sebab memuji-muji itu layak bagi orang-orang jujur.
33:2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
33:2 Bersyukurlah kepada TUHAN dengan kecapi, bermazmurlah bagi-Nya dengan gambus sepuluh tali!
33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
33:3 Nyanyikanlah bagi-Nya nyanyian baru; petiklah kecapi baik-baik dengan sorak-sorai!
33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
33:4 Sebab firman TUHAN itu benar, segala sesuatu dikerjakan-Nya dengan kesetiaan.
33:5 He loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
33:5 Ia senang kepada keadilan dan hukum; bumi penuh dengan kasih setia TUHAN.
33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
33:6 Oleh firman TUHAN langit telah dijadikan, oleh nafas dari mulut-Nya segala tentaranya.
33:7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as an heap: he lays up the depth in storehouses.
33:7 Ia mengumpulkan air laut seperti dalam bendungan, Ia menaruh samudera raya ke dalam wadah.
33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.
33:8 Biarlah segenap bumi takut kepada TUHAN, biarlah semua penduduk dunia gentar terhadap Dia!
33:9 For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
33:9 Sebab Dia berfirman, maka semuanya jadi; Dia memberi perintah, maka semuanya ada.
33:10 The LORD brings the counsel of the heathen to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of no effect.
33:10 TUHAN menggagalkan rencana bangsa-bangsa; Ia meniadakan rancangan suku-suku bangsa;
33:11 The counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
33:11 tetapi rencana TUHAN tetap selama-lamanya, rancangan hati-Nya turun-temurun.
33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
33:12 Berbahagialah bangsa, yang Allahnya ialah TUHAN, suku bangsa yang dipilih-Nya menjadi milik-Nya sendiri!
33:13 The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
33:13 TUHAN memandang dari sorga, Ia melihat semua anak manusia;
33:14 From the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
33:14 dari tempat kediaman-Nya Ia menilik semua penduduk bumi.
33:15 He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.
33:15 Dia yang membentuk hati mereka sekalian, yang memperhatikan segala pekerjaan mereka.
33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
33:16 Seorang raja tidak akan selamat oleh besarnya kuasa; seorang pahlawan tidak akan tertolong oleh besarnya kekuatan.
33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
33:17 Kuda adalah harapan sia-sia untuk mencapai kemenangan, yang sekalipun besar ketangkasannya tidak dapat memberi keluputan.
33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
33:18 Sesungguhnya, mata TUHAN tertuju kepada mereka yang takut akan Dia, kepada mereka yang berharap akan kasih setia-Nya,
33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.
33:19 untuk melepaskan jiwa mereka dari pada maut dan memelihara hidup mereka pada masa kelaparan.
33:20 Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.
33:20 Jiwa kita menanti-nantikan TUHAN. Dialah penolong kita dan perisai kita!
33:21 For our heart shall rejoice in him, because we have trusted in his holy name.
33:21 Ya, karena Dia hati kita bersukacita, sebab kepada nama-Nya yang kudus kita percaya.
33:22 Let your mercy, O LORD, be upon us, according as we hope in you.
33:22 Kasih setia-Mu, ya TUHAN, kiranya menyertai kami, seperti kami berharap kepada-Mu.

34:1 I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.
34:1 Aku hendak memuji TUHAN pada segala waktu; puji-pujian kepada-Nya tetap di dalam mulutku.
34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
34:2 Karena TUHAN jiwaku bermegah; biarlah orang-orang yang rendah hati mendengarnya dan bersukacita.
34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
34:3 Muliakanlah TUHAN bersama-sama dengan aku, marilah kita bersama-sama memasyhurkan nama-Nya!
34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.
34:4 Aku telah mencari TUHAN, lalu Ia menjawab aku, dan melepaskan aku dari segala kegentaranku.
34:5 They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.
34:5 Tujukanlah pandanganmu kepada-Nya, maka mukamu akan berseri-seri, dan tidak akan malu tersipu-sipu.
34:6 This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.
34:6 Orang yang tertindas ini berseru, dan TUHAN mendengar; Ia menyelamatkan dia dari segala kesesakannya.
34:7 The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
34:7 Malaikat TUHAN berkemah di sekeliling orang-orang yang takut akan Dia, lalu meluputkan mereka.
34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
34:8 Kecaplah dan lihatlah, betapa baiknya TUHAN itu! Berbahagialah orang yang berlindung pada-Nya!
34:9 O fear the LORD, all of you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him.
34:9 Takutlah akan TUHAN, hai orang-orang-Nya yang kudus, sebab tidak berkekurangan orang yang takut akan Dia!
34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
34:10 Singa-singa muda merana kelaparan, tetapi orang-orang yang mencari TUHAN, tidak kekurangan sesuatupun yang baik.
34:11 Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
34:11 Marilah anak-anak, dengarkanlah aku, takut akan TUHAN akan kuajarkan kepadamu!
34:12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
34:12 Siapakah orang yang menyukai hidup, yang mengingini umur panjang untuk menikmati yang baik?
34:13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
34:13 Jagalah lidahmu terhadap yang jahat dan bibirmu terhadap ucapan-ucapan yang menipu;
34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.
34:14 jauhilah yang jahat dan lakukanlah yang baik, carilah perdamaian dan berusahalah mendapatkannya!
34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
34:15 Mata TUHAN tertuju kepada orang-orang benar, dan telinga-Nya kepada teriak mereka minta tolong;
34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
34:16 wajah TUHAN menentang orang-orang yang berbuat jahat untuk melenyapkan ingatan kepada mereka dari muka bumi.
34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
34:17 Apabila orang-orang benar itu berseru-seru, maka TUHAN mendengar, dan melepaskan mereka dari segala kesesakannya.
34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
34:18 TUHAN itu dekat kepada orang-orang yang patah hati, dan Ia menyelamatkan orang-orang yang remuk jiwanya.
34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
34:19 Kemalangan orang benar banyak, tetapi TUHAN melepaskan dia dari semuanya itu;
34:20 He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.
34:20 Ia melindungi segala tulangnya, tidak satupun yang patah.
34:21 Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.
34:21 Kemalangan akan mematikan orang fasik, dan siapa yang membenci orang benar akan menanggung hukuman.
34:22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
34:22 TUHAN membebaskan jiwa hamba-hamba-Nya, dan semua orang yang berlindung pada-Nya tidak akan menanggung hukuman.

35:1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
35:1 Berbantahlah, TUHAN, melawan orang yang berbantah dengan aku, berperanglah melawan orang yang berperang melawan aku!
35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
35:2 Peganglah perisai dan utar-utar, bangunlah menolong aku,
35:3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am your salvation.
35:3 cabutlah tombak dan kapak menghadapi orang-orang yang mengejar aku; katakanlah kepada jiwaku: "Akulah keselamatanmu!"
35:4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
35:4 Biarlah mendapat malu dan kena noda, orang-orang yang ingin mencabut nyawaku; biarlah mundur dan tersipu-sipu orang-orang yang merancang kecelakaanku!
35:5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
35:5 Biarlah mereka seperti sekam dibawa angin, didorong Malaikat TUHAN;
35:6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
35:6 biarlah jalan mereka gelap dan licin, dan Malaikat TUHAN mengejar mereka!
35:7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.
35:7 Karena tanpa alasan mereka memasang jaring terhadap aku, tanpa alasan mereka menggali pelubang untuk nyawaku.
35:8 Let destruction come upon him at unexpectedly; and let his net that he has hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
35:8 Biarlah kebinasaan mendatangi dia dengan tidak disangka-sangka, jerat yang dipasangnya, biarlah menangkap dia sendiri, biarlah ia jatuh dan musnah!
35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
35:9 Tetapi aku bersorak-sorak karena TUHAN, aku girang karena keselamatan dari pada-Nya;
35:10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto you, which deliver the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him?
35:10 segala tulangku berkata: "Ya, TUHAN, siapakah yang seperti Engkau, yang melepaskan orang sengsara dari tangan orang yang lebih kuat dari padanya, orang sengsara dan miskin dari tangan orang yang merampasi dia?"
35:11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
35:11 Saksi-saksi yang gemar kekerasan bangkit berdiri, apa yang tidak kuketahui, itulah yang mereka tuntut dari padaku.
35:12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
35:12 Mereka membalas kebaikanku dengan kejahatan; perasaan bulus mencekam aku.
35:13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
35:13 Tetapi aku, ketika mereka sakit, aku memakai pakaian kabung; aku menyiksa diriku dengan berpuasa, dan doaku kembali timbul dalam dadaku,
35:14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother.
35:14 seolah-olah temanku atau saudarakulah yang sakit, demikianlah aku berlaku; seperti orang yang berkeluh kesah karena kematian ibu, demikianlah aku tunduk dengan pakaian kabung.
35:15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the outcasts gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
35:15 Tetapi ketika aku tersandung jatuh, bersukacitalah mereka dan berkerumun, berkerumun melawan aku; orang-orang asing yang tidak kukenal menista aku dengan tidak henti-hentinya;
35:16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
35:16 dengan fasik mereka mengolok-olok terus, menggertakkan giginya terhadap aku.
35:17 Lord, how long will you look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
35:17 Sampai berapa lama, Tuhan, Engkau memandangi saja? Selamatkanlah jiwaku dari perusakan mereka, nyawaku dari singa-singa muda!
35:18 I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people.
35:18 Aku mau menyanyikan syukur kepada-Mu dalam jemaah yang besar, di tengah-tengah rakyat yang banyak aku mau memuji-muji Engkau.
35:19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
35:19 Janganlah sekali-kali bersukacita atas aku orang-orang yang memusuhi aku tanpa sebab, atau mengedip-ngedipkan mata orang-orang yang membenci aku tanpa alasan.
35:20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
35:20 Karena mereka tidak membicarakan damai, dan terhadap orang-orang yang rukun di negeri mereka merancangkan penipuan,
35:21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.
35:21 mereka membuka mulutnya lebar-lebar terhadap aku dan berkata: "Syukur, syukur, mata kami telah melihatnya!"
35:22 This you have seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.

35:23 Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
35:23 Terjagalah dan bangunlah membela hakku, membela perkaraku, ya Allahku dan Tuhanku!
35:24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
35:24 Hakimilah aku sesuai dengan keadilan-Mu, ya TUHAN Allahku, supaya mereka jangan bersukacita atasku!
35:25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
35:25 Janganlah mereka berkata dalam hatinya: "Syukur, itulah keinginan kami!" Dan janganlah mereka berkata: "Kami telah menelannya!"
35:26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
35:26 Biarlah bersama-sama mendapat malu dan tersipu-sipu orang-orang yang bersukacita atas kemalanganku; biarlah berpakaian malu dan noda orang-orang yang membesarkan dirinya terhadap aku!
35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
35:27 Biarlah bersorak-sorai dan bersukacita orang-orang yang ingin melihat aku dibenarkan! Biarlah mereka tetap berkata: "TUHAN itu besar, Dia menginginkan keselamatan hamba-Nya!"
35:28 And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.
35:28 Dan lidahku akan menyebut-nyebut keadilan-Mu, memuji-muji Engkau sepanjang hari.
Mazmur 36 / Psalms [Untuk pemimpin biduan. Dari hamba TUHAN, dari Daud.]
36:1 The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
36:1 Dosa bertutur di lubuk hati orang fasik; rasa takut kepada Allah tidak ada pada orang itu,
36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
36:2 sebab ia membujuk dirinya, sampai orang mendapati kesalahannya dan membencinya.
36:3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has left off to be wise, and to do good.
36:3 Perkataan dari mulutnya ialah kejahatan dan tipu daya, ia berhenti berlaku bijaksana dan berbuat baik.
36:4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he detests not evil.
36:4 Kejahatan dirancangkannya di tempat tidurnya, ia menempatkan dirinya di jalan yang tidak baik; apa yang jahat tidak ditolaknya.
36:5 Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reachs unto the clouds.
36:5 Ya TUHAN, kasih-Mu sampai ke langit, setia-Mu sampai ke awan.
36:6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; your judgments are a great deep: O LORD, you preserve man and beast.
36:6 Keadilan-Mu adalah seperti gunung-gunung Allah, hukum-Mu bagaikan samudera raya yang hebat. Manusia dan hewan Kauselamatkan, ya TUHAN.
36:7 How excellent is your loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.
36:7 Betapa berharganya kasih setia-Mu, ya Allah! Anak-anak manusia berlindung dalam naungan sayap-Mu.
36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
36:8 Mereka mengenyangkan dirinya dengan lemak di rumah-Mu; Engkau memberi mereka minum dari sungai kesenangan-Mu.
36:9 For with you is the fountain of life: in your light shall we see light.
36:9 Sebab pada-Mu ada sumber hayat, di dalam terang-Mu kami melihat terang.
36:10 O continue your loving kindness unto them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.
36:10 Lanjutkanlah kasih setia-Mu bagi orang yang mengenal Engkau, dan keadilan-Mu bagi orang yang tulus hati!
36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
36:11 Janganlah kiranya kaki orang-orang congkak menginjak aku, dan tangan orang fasik mengusir aku.
36:12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.

37:1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:1 Jangan marah karena orang yang berbuat jahat, jangan iri hati kepada orang yang berbuat curang;
37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:2 sebab mereka segera lisut seperti rumput dan layu seperti tumbuh-tumbuhan hijau.
37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.
37:3 Percayalah kepada TUHAN dan lakukanlah yang baik, diamlah di negeri dan berlakulah setia,
37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of yours heart.
37:4 dan bergembiralah karena TUHAN; maka Ia akan memberikan kepadamu apa yang diinginkan hatimu.
37:5 Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
37:5 Serahkanlah hidupmu kepada TUHAN dan percayalah kepada-Nya, dan Ia akan bertindak;
37:6 And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.
37:6 Ia akan memunculkan kebenaranmu seperti terang, dan hakmu seperti siang.
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
37:7 Berdiam dirilah di hadapan TUHAN dan nantikanlah Dia; jangan marah karena orang yang berhasil dalam hidupnya, karena orang yang melakukan tipu daya.
37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.
37:8 Berhentilah marah dan tinggalkanlah panas hati itu, jangan marah, itu hanya membawa kepada kejahatan.
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:9 Sebab orang-orang yang berbuat jahat akan dilenyapkan, tetapi orang-orang yang menanti-nantikan TUHAN akan mewarisi negeri.
37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
37:10 Karena sedikit waktu lagi, maka lenyaplah orang fasik; jika engkau memperhatikan tempatnya, maka ia sudah tidak ada lagi.
37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:11 Tetapi orang-orang yang rendah hati akan mewarisi negeri dan bergembira karena kesejahteraan yang berlimpah-limpah.
37:12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
37:12 Orang fasik merencanakan kejahatan terhadap orang benar dan menggertakkan giginya terhadap dia;
37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.
37:13 Tuhan menertawakan orang fasik itu, sebab Ia melihat bahwa harinya sudah dekat.
37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
37:14 Orang-orang fasik menghunus pedang dan melentur busur mereka untuk merobohkan orang-orang sengsara dan orang-orang miskin, untuk membunuh orang-orang yang hidup jujur;
37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
37:15 tetapi pedang mereka akan menikam dada mereka sendiri, dan busur mereka akan dipatahkan.
37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:16 Lebih baik yang sedikit pada orang benar dari pada yang berlimpah-limpah pada orang fasik;
37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous.
37:17 sebab lengan orang-orang fasik dipatahkan, tetapi TUHAN menopang orang-orang benar.
37:18 The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:18 TUHAN mengetahui hari-hari orang yang saleh, dan milik pusaka mereka akan tetap selama-lamanya;
37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
37:19 mereka tidak akan mendapat malu pada waktu kecelakaan, dan mereka akan menjadi kenyang pada hari-hari kelaparan.
37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
37:20 Sesungguhnya, orang-orang fasik akan binasa; musuh TUHAN seperti keindahan padang rumput: mereka habis lenyap, habis lenyap bagaikan asap.
37:21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.
37:21 Orang fasik meminjam dan tidak membayar kembali, tetapi orang benar adalah pengasih dan pemurah.
37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
37:22 Sesungguhnya, orang-orang yang diberkati-Nya akan mewarisi negeri, tetapi orang-orang yang dikutuki-Nya akan dilenyapkan.
37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
37:23 TUHAN menetapkan langkah-langkah orang yang hidupnya berkenan kepada-Nya;
37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
37:24 apabila ia jatuh, tidaklah sampai tergeletak, sebab TUHAN menopang tangannya.
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
37:25 Dahulu aku muda, sekarang telah menjadi tua, tetapi tidak pernah kulihat orang benar ditinggalkan, atau anak cucunya meminta-minta roti;
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.
37:26 tiap hari ia menaruh belas kasihan dan memberi pinjaman, dan anak cucunya menjadi berkat.
37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:27 Jauhilah yang jahat dan lakukanlah yang baik, maka engkau akan tetap tinggal untuk selama-lamanya;
37:28 For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:28 sebab TUHAN mencintai hukum, dan Ia tidak meninggalkan orang-orang yang dikasihi-Nya. Sampai selama-lamanya mereka akan terpelihara, tetapi anak cucu orang-orang fasik akan dilenyapkan.
37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:29 Orang-orang benar akan mewarisi negeri dan tinggal di sana senantiasa.
37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.
37:30 Mulut orang benar mengucapkan hikmat, dan lidahnya mengatakan hukum;
37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
37:31 Taurat Allahnya ada di dalam hatinya, langkah-langkahnya tidak goyah.
37:32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.
37:32 Orang fasik mengintai orang benar dan berikhtiar membunuhnya;
37:33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
37:33 TUHAN tidak menyerahkan orang benar itu ke dalam tangannya, Ia tidak membiarkannya dinyatakan fasik pada waktu diadili.
37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
37:34 Nantikanlah TUHAN dan tetap ikutilah jalan-Nya, maka Ia akan mengangkat engkau untuk mewarisi negeri, dan engkau akan melihat orang-orang fasik dilenyapkan.
37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
37:35 Aku melihat seorang fasik yang gagah sombong, yang tumbuh mekar seperti pohon aras Libanon;
37:36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37:36 ketika aku lewat, lenyaplah ia, aku mencarinya, tetapi tidak ditemui.
37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:37 Perhatikanlah orang yang tulus dan lihatlah kepada orang yang jujur, sebab pada orang yang suka damai akan ada masa depan;
37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:38 tetapi pendurhaka-pendurhaka akan dibinasakan bersama-sama, dan masa depan orang-orang fasik akan dilenyapkan.
37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:39 Orang-orang benar diselamatkan oleh TUHAN; Ia adalah tempat perlindungan mereka pada waktu kesesakan;
37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.
37:40 TUHAN menolong mereka dan meluputkan mereka, Ia meluputkan mereka dari tangan orang-orang fasik dan menyelamatkan mereka, sebab mereka berlindung pada-Nya.
Mazmur 38 / Psalms [Mazmur Daud pada waktu mempersembahkan korban peringatan.]
38:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in your wrath: neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
38:1 TUHAN, janganlah menghukum aku dalam geram-Mu, dan janganlah menghajar aku dalam kepanasan murka-Mu;
38:2 For yours arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me sore.
38:2 sebab anak panah-Mu menembus aku, tangan-Mu telah turun menimpa aku.
38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of yours anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
38:3 Tidak ada yang sehat pada dagingku oleh karena amarah-Mu, tidak ada yang selamat pada tulang-tulangku oleh karena dosaku;
38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
38:4 sebab kesalahanku telah menimpa kepalaku; semuanya seperti beban berat yang menjadi terlalu berat bagiku.
38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
38:5 Luka-lukaku berbau busuk, bernanah oleh karena kebodohanku;
38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
38:6 aku terbungkuk-bungkuk, sangat tertunduk; sepanjang hari aku berjalan dengan dukacita.
38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
38:7 Sebab pinggangku penuh radang, tidak ada yang sehat pada dagingku;
38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the chaos of my heart.
38:8 aku kehabisan tenaga dan remuk redam, aku merintih karena degap-degup jantungku.
38:9 Lord, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you.
38:9 Tuhan, Engkau mengetahui segala keinginanku, dan keluhkupun tidak tersembunyi bagi-Mu;
38:10 My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
38:10 jantungku berdebar-debar, kekuatanku hilang, dan cahaya matakupun lenyap dari padaku.
38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand far off.
38:11 Sahabat-sahabatku dan teman-temanku menyisih karena penyakitku, dan sanak saudaraku menjauh.
38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
38:12 Orang-orang yang ingin mencabut nyawaku memasang jerat, orang-orang yang mengikhtiarkan celakaku, memikirkan kehancuran dan merancangkan tipu daya sepanjang hari.
38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.
38:13 Tetapi aku ini seperti orang tuli, aku tidak mendengar, seperti orang bisu yang tidak membuka mulutnya;
38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
38:14 ya, aku ini seperti orang yang tidak mendengar, yang tak ada bantahan dalam mulutnya.
38:15 For in you, O LORD, do I hope: you will hear, O Lord my God.
38:15 Sebab kepada-Mu, ya TUHAN, aku berharap; Engkaulah yang akan menjawab, ya Tuhan, Allahku.
38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.
38:16 Pikirku: "Asal mereka jangan beria-ria karena aku, jangan membesarkan diri terhadap aku apabila kakiku goyah!"
38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
38:17 Sebab aku mulai jatuh karena tersandung, dan aku selalu dirundung kesakitan;
38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
38:18 ya, aku mengaku kesalahanku, aku cemas karena dosaku.
38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
38:19 Orang-orang yang memusuhi aku besar jumlahnya, banyaklah orang-orang yang membenci aku tanpa sebab;
38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
38:20 mereka membalas yang jahat kepadaku ganti yang baik, mereka memusuhi aku, karena aku mengejar yang baik.
38:21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
38:21 Jangan tinggalkan aku, ya TUHAN, Allahku, janganlah jauh dari padaku!
38:22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
38:22 Segeralah menolong aku, ya Tuhan, keselamatanku!
