1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.
1:1 Pada tahun ketiga puluh, dalam bulan yang keempat, pada tanggal lima bulan itu, ketika aku bersama-sama dengan para buangan berada di tepi sungai Kebar, terbukalah langit dan aku melihat penglihatan-penglihatan tentang Allah.
1:2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,
1:2 Pada tanggal lima bulan itu, yaitu tahun kelima sesudah raja Yoyakhin dibuang,
1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.
1:3 datanglah firman TUHAN kepada imam Yehezkiel, anak Busi, di negeri orang Kasdim di tepi sungai Kebar, dan di sana kekuasaan TUHAN meliputi dia.
1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire setting itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.
1:4 Lalu aku melihat, sungguh, angin badai bertiup dari utara, dan membawa segumpal awan yang besar dengan api yang berkilat-kilat dan awan itu dikelilingi oleh sinar; di dalam, di tengah-tengah api itu kelihatan seperti suasa mengkilat.
1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.
1:5 Dan di tengah-tengah itu juga ada yang menyerupai empat makhluk hidup dan beginilah kelihatannya mereka: mereka menyerupai manusia,
1:6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.
1:6 tetapi masing-masing mempunyai empat muka dan pada masing-masing ada pula empat sayap.
1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.
1:7 Kaki mereka adalah lurus dan telapak kaki mereka seperti kuku anak lembu; kaki-kaki ini mengkilap seperti tembaga yang baru digosok.
1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.
1:8 Pada keempat sisi mereka di bawah sayap-sayapnya tampak tangan manusia. Mengenai muka dan sayap mereka berempat adalah begini:
1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.
1:9 mereka saling menyentuh dengan sayapnya; mereka tidak berbalik kalau berjalan, masing-masing berjalan lurus ke depan.
1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.
1:10 Muka mereka kelihatan begini: Keempatnya mempunyai muka manusia di depan, muka singa di sebelah kanan, muka lembu di sebelah kiri, dan muka rajawali di belakang.
1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.
1:11 Sayap-sayap mereka dikembangkan ke atas; mereka saling menyentuh dengan sepasang sayapnya dan sepasang sayap yang lain menutupi badan mereka.
1:12 And they went every one straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.
1:12 Masing-masing berjalan lurus ke depan; ke arah mana roh itu hendak pergi, ke sanalah mereka pergi, mereka tidak berbalik kalau berjalan.
1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.
1:13 Di tengah makhluk-makhluk hidup itu kelihatan seperti bara api yang menyala, seperti suluh, yang bergerak kian ke mari di antara makhluk-makhluk hidup itu, dan api itu bersinar sedang dari api itu kilat sabung-menyabung.
1:14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.
1:14 Makhluk-makhluk hidup itu terbang ke sana ke mari seperti kilat.
1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.
1:15 Aku melihat, sungguh, di atas tanah di samping masing-masing dari keempat makhluk-makhluk hidup itu ada sebuah roda.
1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.
1:16 Rupa roda-roda itu seperti kilauan permata pirus dan keempatnya adalah serupa; buatannya seolah-olah roda yang satu di tengah-tengah yang lain.
1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.
1:17 Kalau mereka berjalan mereka dapat menuju keempat jurusan; mereka tidak berbalik kalau berjalan.
1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.
1:18 Mereka mempunyai lingkar dan aku melihat, bahwa sekeliling lingkar yang empat itu penuh dengan mata.
1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.
1:19 Kalau makhluk-makhluk hidup itu berjalan, roda-roda itu juga berjalan di samping mereka; dan kalau makhluk-makhluk hidup itu terangkat dari atas tanah, roda-roda itu turut terangkat.
1:20 Anywhere the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
1:20 Ke arah mana roh itu hendak pergi, ke sanalah mereka pergi, dan roda-rodanya sama-sama terangkat dengan mereka, sebab roh makhluk-makhluk hidup itu berada di dalam roda-rodanya.
1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.
1:21 Kalau makhluk-makhluk hidup itu berjalan, roda-roda itu berjalan; kalau mereka berhenti, roda-roda itu berhenti; dan kalau mereka terangkat dari tanah, roda-roda itu sama-sama terangkat dengan mereka; sebab roh makhluk-makhluk hidup itu berada di dalam roda-rodanya.
1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.
1:22 Di atas kepala makhluk-makhluk hidup itu ada yang menyerupai cakrawala, yang kelihatan seperti hablur es yang mendahsyatkan, terbentang di atas kepala mereka.
1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.
1:23 Dan di bawah cakrawala itu sayap mereka dikembangkan lurus, yang satu menyinggung yang lain; dan masing-masing mempunyai sepasang sayap yang menutupi badan mereka.
1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.
1:24 Kalau mereka berjalan, aku mendengar suara sayapnya seperti suara air terjun yang menderu, seperti suara Yang Mahakuasa, seperti keributan laskar yang besar; kalau mereka berhenti, sayapnya dibiarkan terkulai.
1:25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.
1:25 Maka kedengaranlah suara dari atas cakrawala yang ada di atas kepala mereka; kalau mereka berhenti, sayapnya dibiarkan terkulai.
1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.
1:26 Di atas cakrawala yang ada di atas kepala mereka ada menyerupai takhta yang kelihatannya seperti permata lazurit; dan di atas yang menyerupai takhta itu ada yang kelihatan seperti rupa manusia.
1:27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.
1:27 Dari yang menyerupai pinggangnya sampai ke atas aku lihat seperti suasa mengkilat dan seperti api yang ditudungi sekelilingnya; dan dari yang menyerupai pinggangnya sampai ke bawah aku lihat seperti api yang dikelilingi sinar.
1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.
1:28 Seperti busur pelangi, yang terlihat pada musim hujan di awan-awan, demikianlah kelihatan sinar yang
mengelilinginya. Begitulah kelihatan
gambar kemuliaan TUHAN. Tatkala aku melihatnya aku sembah sujud, lalu kudengar suara Dia yang berfirman.
2:1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak unto you.
2:1 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, bangunlah dan berdiri, karena Aku hendak berbicara dengan engkau."
2:2 And the spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spoke unto me.
2:2 Sementara Ia berbicara dengan aku, kembalilah rohku ke dalam aku dan ditegakkannyalah aku. Kemudian aku mendengar Dia yang berbicara dengan aku.
2:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.
2:3 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, Aku mengutus engkau kepada orang Israel, kepada bangsa pemberontak yang telah memberontak melawan Aku. Mereka dan nenek moyang mereka telah mendurhaka terhadap Aku sampai hari ini juga.
2:4 For they are shameless children and stiff hearted. I do send you unto them; and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD.
2:4 Kepada keturunan inilah, yang keras kepala dan tegar hati, Aku mengutus engkau dan harus kaukatakan kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH.
2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.
2:5 Dan baik mereka mendengarkan atau tidak--sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak--mereka akan mengetahui bahwa seorang nabi ada di tengah-tengah mereka.
2:6 And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
2:6 Dan engkau, anak manusia, janganlah takut melihat mereka maupun mendengarkan kata-katanya, biarpun engkau di tengah-tengah onak dan duri dan engkau tinggal dekat kalajengking. Janganlah takut mendengarkan kata-kata mereka dan janganlah gentar melihat mukanya, sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak.
2:7 And you shall speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.
2:7 Sampaikanlah perkataan-perkataan-Ku kepada mereka, baik mereka mau mendengarkan atau tidak, sebab mereka adalah pemberontak.
2:8 But you, son of man, hear what I say unto you; Be not you rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that I give you.
2:8 Dan engkau, anak manusia, dengarlah apa yang Kufirmankan kepadamu; janganlah memberontak seperti kaum pemberontak ini. Ngangakanlah mulutmu dan makanlah apa yang Kuberikan kepadamu."
2:9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;
2:9 Aku melihat, sesungguhnya ada tangan yang terulur kepadaku, dan sungguh, dipegang-Nya sebuah gulungan kitab,
2:10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.
2:10 lalu dibentangkan-Nya di hadapanku. Gulungan kitab itu ditulisi timbal balik dan di sana tertulis nyanyian-nyanyian ratapan, keluh kesah dan rintihan.
3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that you find; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.
3:1 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, makanlah apa yang engkau lihat di sini; makanlah gulungan kitab ini dan pergilah, berbicaralah kepada kaum Israel."
3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.
3:2 Maka kubukalah mulutku dan diberikan-Nya gulungan kitab itu kumakan.
3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.
3:3 Lalu firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, makanlah gulungan kitab yang Kuberikan ini kepadamu dan isilah perutmu dengan itu." Lalu aku memakannya dan rasanya manis seperti madu dalam mulutku.
3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get you unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.
3:4 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, mari, pergilah dan temuilah kaum Israel dan sampaikanlah perkataan-perkataan-Ku kepada mereka.
3:5 For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;
3:5 Sebab engkau tidak diutus kepada suatu bangsa yang berbahasa asing dan yang berat lidah, tetapi kepada kaum Israel;
3:6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have hearkened unto you.
3:6 bukan kepada banyak bangsa-bangsa yang berbahasa asing dan yang berat lidah, yang engkau tidak mengerti bahasanya. Sekiranya aku mengutus engkau kepada bangsa yang demikian, mereka akan mendengarkan engkau.
3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto you; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are shameless and hardhearted.
3:7 Akan tetapi kaum Israel tidak mau mendengarkan engkau, sebab mereka tidak mau mendengarkan Aku, karena seluruh kaum Israel berkepala batu dan bertegar hati.
3:8 Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.
3:8 Lihat, Aku meneguhkan hatimu melawan mereka yang berkepala batu dan membajakan semangatmu melawan ketegaran hati mereka.
3:9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
3:9 Seperti batu intan, yang lebih keras dari pada batu Kuteguhkan hatimu; janganlah takut kepada mereka dan janganlah gentar melihat mukanya, sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak."
3:10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto you receive in yours heart, and hear with yours ears.
3:10 Selanjutnya firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, perhatikanlah segala perkataan-Ku yang akan Kufirmankan kepadamu dan berikanlah telingamu kepadanya.
3:11 And go, get you to them of the captivity, unto the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.
3:11 Mari, pergilah dan temuilah orang-orang buangan, teman sebangsamu, berbicaralah kepada mereka dan katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH; baik mereka mau mendengarkan atau tidak."
3:12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.
3:12 Maka Roh itu mengangkat aku, dan aku mendengar di belakangku suatu suara gemuruh yang besar, tatkala kemuliaan Allah naik ke atas dari tempatnya,
3:13 I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels opposite to them, and a noise of a great rushing.
3:13 yakni suara dari sayap-sayap makhluk-makhluk hidup yang menggesek satu sama lain, dan di samping itu suara gemertak dari roda-roda, suatu suara gemuruh yang besar.
3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.
3:14 Dan Roh itu mengangkat dan membawa aku, dan aku pergi dengan hati panas dan dengan perasaan pahit, karena kekuasaan TUHAN memaksa aku dengan sangat.
3:15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.
3:15 Demikianlah aku datang kepada orang-orang buangan yang tinggal di tepi sungai Kebar di Tel-Abib dan di sana aku duduk tertegun di tengah-tengah mereka selama tujuh hari.
3:16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
3:16 Sesudah tujuh hari datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
3:17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.
3:17 "Hai anak manusia, Aku telah menetapkan engkau menjadi penjaga kaum Israel. Bilamana engkau mendengarkan sesuatu firman dari pada-Ku, peringatkanlah mereka atas nama-Ku.
3:18 When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at yours hand.
3:18 Kalau Aku berfirman kepada orang jahat: Engkau pasti dihukum mati! --dan engkau tidak memperingatkan dia atau tidak berkata apa-apa untuk memperingatkan orang jahat itu dari hidupnya yang jahat, supaya ia tetap hidup, orang jahat itu akan mati dalam kesalahannya, tetapi Aku akan menuntut pertanggungan jawab atas nyawanya dari padamu.
3:19 Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.
3:19 Tetapi jikalau engkau memperingatkan orang jahat itu dan ia tidak berbalik dari kejahatannya dan dari hidupnya yang jahat, ia akan mati dalam kesalahannya, tetapi engkau telah menyelamatkan nyawamu.
3:20 Again, When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at yours hand.
3:20 Jikalau seorang yang benar berbalik dari kebenarannya dan ia berbuat curang, dan Aku meletakkan batu sandungan di hadapannya, ia akan mati. Oleh karena engkau tidak memperingatkan dia, ia akan mati dalam dosanya dan perbuatan-perbuatan kebenaran yang dikerjakannya tidak akan diingat-ingat, tetapi Aku akan menuntut pertanggungan jawab atas nyawanya dari padamu.
3:21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.
3:21 Tetapi jikalau engkau memperingatkan orang yang benar itu supaya ia jangan berbuat dosa dan memang tidak berbuat dosa, ia akan tetap hidup, sebab ia mau menerima peringatan, dan engkau telah menyelamatkan nyawamu."
3:22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.
3:22 Maka di sana kekuasaan TUHAN meliputi aku dan Ia berfirman kepadaku: "Bangunlah dan pergilah ke lembah, di sana Aku akan berbicara dengan engkau."
3:23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.
3:23 Aku bangun dan pergi ke lembah; sesungguhnya di sana kelihatan kemuliaan TUHAN seperti kemuliaan yang telah kulihat di tepi sungai Kebar, dan aku sujud.
3:24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said unto me, Go, shut yourself within yours house.
3:24 Tetapi masuklah Roh ke dalam aku dan ditegakkannya aku, lalu Ia berbicara dengan aku, kata-Nya: "Pergilah pulang, kurunglah dirimu di dalam rumahmu.
3:25 But you, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them:
3:25 Dan engkau, anak manusia, sesungguhnya, engkau akan diikat dengan tali dan akan dibelenggu, sehingga engkau tidak bisa keluar masuk di tengah-tengah mereka.
3:26 And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be dumb, and shall not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.
3:26 Dan Aku akan membuat lidahmu melekat pada langit-langitmu, sehingga engkau menjadi bisu dan tidak akan menempelak mereka, sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak.
3:27 But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; He that hears, let him hear; and he that forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.
3:27 Tetapi kalau Aku berbicara dengan engkau, Aku akan membuka mulutmu dan engkau akan mengatakan kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH. Orang yang mau mendengar, biarlah ia mendengar; dan orang yang mau membiarkan, baiklah membiarkan, sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak."
4:1 You also, son of man, take you a tile, and lay it before you, and illustrate upon it the city, even Jerusalem:
4:1 "Engkau, anak manusia, ambillah sebuah batu bata, letakkan di hadapanmu dan ukirlah di atasnya sebuah kota, yaitu Yerusalem.
4:2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.
4:2 Ukirlah kota itu dalam keadaan terkepung: dirikan sebuah benteng pengepungan, timbun pula tanah menjadi tembok pengepungan, tempatkan perkemahan tentara dan susun alat-alat pendobrak sekeliling kota itu.
4:3 Moreover take you unto you an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.
4:3 Lalu ambillah sebidang besi dan dirikanlah itu di antaramu dengan kota itu menjadi dinding besi, kemudian tujukanlah wajahmu ke arah kota itu, sehingga kota itu dalam keadaan terkepung, dan engkaulah yang mengepung dia. Inilah menjadi lambang bagi kaum Israel.
4:4 Lie you also upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity.
4:4 Berbaringlah engkau pada sisi kirimu dan Aku akan menanggungkan hukuman kaum Israel atasmu. Berapa hari engkau berbaring demikian, selama itulah engkau menanggung hukuman mereka.
4:5 For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.
4:5 Beginilah Aku tentukan bagimu: Berapa tahun hukuman kaum Israel, sekian harilah engkau menanggung hukuman mereka, yaitu tiga ratus sembilan puluh hari.
4:6 And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed you each day for a year.
4:6 Kalau engkau sudah mengakhiri waktu ini, berbaringlah engkau untuk kedua kalinya, tetapi pada sisi kananmu dan tanggunglah hukuman kaum Yehuda empat puluh hari lamanya; Aku menentukan bagimu satu hari untuk satu tahun.
4:7 Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and yours arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.
4:7 Tujukanlah wajahmu kepada pengepungan Yerusalem dan kepalkanlah tinjumu kepadanya dan bernubuatlah melawan kota itu.
4:8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon you, and you shall not turn you from one side to another, till you have ended the days of your siege.
4:8 Lihat, Aku akan mengikat engkau dengan tali, sehingga engkau tidak dapat berbalik dari sisi yang satu ke sisi yang lain sampai engkau mengakhiri waktu pengepunganmu itu.
4:9 Take you also unto you wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make you bread thereof, according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety days shall you eat thereof.
4:9 Selanjutnya ambillah gandum, jelai, kacang merah besar, kacang merah kecil, jawan dan sekoi dan taruhlah dalam satu periuk dan masaklah itu menjadi roti bagimu. Itulah makananmu selama engkau berbaring pada sisimu, yaitu tiga ratus sembilan puluh hari.
4:10 And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.
4:10 Dan makananmu yang harus kaumakan akan ditentukan timbangannya, yakni dua puluh syikal satu hari; makanlah itu pada waktu-waktu tertentu.
4:11 You shall drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shall you drink.
4:11 Air minumpun bagimu akan ditentukan, seperenam hin banyaknya; minumlah itu pada waktu-waktu tertentu.
4:12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.
4:12 Makanlah roti itu seperti roti jelai yang bundar dan engkau harus membakarnya di atas kotoran manusia yang sudah kering di hadapan mereka."
4:13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.
4:13 Selanjutnya TUHAN berfirman: "Aku akan membuang orang Israel ke tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa dan demikianlah mereka akan memakan rotinya najis di sana."
4:14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul has not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.
4:14 Maka kujawab: "Aduh, Tuhan ALLAH, sesungguhnya, aku tak pernah dinajiskan dan dari masa mudaku sampai sekarang tak pernah kumakan bangkai atau sisa mangsa binatang buas; lagipula tak pernah masuk ke mulutku ini daging yang sudah basi."
4:15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread therewith.
4:15 Lalu firman-Nya kepadaku: "Lihat, kalau begitu Aku mengizinkan engkau memakai kotoran lembu ganti kotoran manusia dan bakarlah rotimu di atasnya."
4:16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:
4:16 Sesudah itu Ia berfirman kepadaku: "Hai, anak manusia, sesungguhnya, Aku akan memusnahkan persediaan makanan di Yerusalem--dan mereka akan memakan roti yang tertentu timbangannya dengan hati yang cemas; juga mereka akan meminum air dalam ukuran terbatas dengan hati yang gundah-gulana--
4:17 That they may lack bread and water, and be astonished one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.
4:17 dengan maksud, supaya mereka kekurangan makanan dan minuman dan mereka semuanya menjadi gundah-gulana, sehingga mereka hancur di dalam hukumannya.
5:1 And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon yours head and upon your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the hair.
5:1 Dan engkau, anak manusia, ambillah sebilah pedang yang tajam dan pakailah itu sebagai pisau cukur tukang pangkas; cukurlah rambutmu dan janggutmu dengan itu; lalu ambillah sebuah timbangan dan bagi-bagilah rambutmu.
5:2 You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and strike about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.
5:2 Sepertiga harus kaubakar dengan api di tengah-tengah kota itu sesudah berakhir waktu pengepungannya; sepertiga harus kauambil dan tetaklah dengan pedang itu sekelilingnya; dan sepertiga lagi hamburkanlah ke dalam angin, dan Aku akan menghunus pedang dari belakang mereka.
5:3 You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.
5:3 Engkau harus mengambil sedikit dari rambut itu dan bungkus di dalam punca kainmu.
5:4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.
5:4 Dan sekali lagi engkau harus mengambil dari padanya, buangkan ke dalam api dan hanguskan dia di sana; dari sana akan keluar api untuk memakan seluruh kaum Israel. Dan berkatalah kepada mereka:
5:5 Thus says the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.
5:5 Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Inilah Yerusalem! Di tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa Kutempatkan dia dan sekelilingnya ada negeri-negeri mereka.
5:6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.
5:6 Ia sudah memberontak terhadap peraturan-peraturan-Ku lebih jahat dari pada bangsa-bangsa dan terhadap ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku lebih jahat dari negeri-negeri yang di sekitarnya; karena mereka menolak peraturan-peraturan-Ku dan kelakuan mereka tidak selaras dengan ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku.
5:7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;
5:7 Sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Oleh karena engkau lebih jahat dari pada bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu dan kelakuanmu tidak selaras dengan ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku dan engkau tidak melakukan peraturan-peraturan-Ku, bahkan engkau melakukan peraturan-peraturan bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu,
5:8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against you, and will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.
5:8 sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Lihat, Aku, ya Aku sendiri akan menjadi lawanmu dan Aku akan menjatuhkan hukuman kepadamu di hadapan bangsa-bangsa.
5:9 And I will do in you that which I have not done, and unto which I will not do any more the like, because of all yours abominations.
5:9 Oleh karena segala perbuatanmu yang keji akan Kuperbuat terhadapmu yang belum pernah Kuperbuat dan yang tidak pernah lagi akan Kuperbuat.
5:10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you will I scatter into all the winds.
5:10 Sebab itu di tengah-tengahmu ayah-ayah akan memakan anak-anaknya dan anak-anak memakan ayahnya dan Aku akan menjatuhkan hukuman kepadamu, sedang semua yang masih tinggal lagi dari padamu akan Kuhamburkan ke semua penjuru angin.
5:11 Wherefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD; Surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all yours abominations, therefore will I also diminish you; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.
5:11 Sebab itu, demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, sesungguhnya, oleh karena engkau menajiskan tempat kudus-Ku dengan segala dewamu yang menjijikkan dan dengan segala perbuatanmu yang keji, Aku sendiri akan meruntuhkan engkau; Aku tidak akan merasa sayang dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan.
5:12 A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.
5:12 Sepertiga dari padamu akan mati kena sampar dan mati kelaparan di tengah-tengahmu; sepertiga akan tewas dimakan pedang di sekitarmu; dan sepertiga lagi akan Kuhamburkan ke semua mata angin dan Aku akan menghunus pedang dari belakang mereka.
5:13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.
5:13 Aku akan melampiaskan murka-Ku kepada mereka, sehingga hati-Ku yang panas tenang kembali dan Aku merasa puas; dan mereka akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN yang mengatakannya di dalam cemburu-Ku, tatkala Aku melampiaskan amarah-Ku kepada mereka.
5:14 Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.
5:14 Aku akan membuat engkau menjadi reruntuhan dan buah celaan di antara bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu di hadapan semua orang yang lintas dari padamu.
5:15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.
5:15 Engkau akan menjadi buah celaan dan cercaan, menjadi peringatan dan suatu kengerian bagi bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu, tatkala Aku menjatuhkan hukuman kepadamu di dalam kemurkaan dan kemarahan dan di dalam penghajaran-penghajaran kemarahan--Aku, TUHAN, yang mengatakannya--
5:16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:
5:16 tatkala Aku mendatangkan atasmu kelaparan yang dahsyat, yang membinasakan, dan Aku mendatangkannya untuk membinasakan kamu, tatkala Aku memperdahsyat bencana kelaparan atasmu dan memusnahkan persediaan makananmu.
5:17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you: and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I the LORD have spoken it.
5:17 Aku akan mendatangkan kelaparan atasmu dan binatang-binatang buas di tengah-tengahmu, yang akan memunahkan anak-anakmu; sampar akan berkecamuk dan darah akan mengalir di tengah-tengahmu dan Aku akan mendatangkan pedang atasmu, Aku, TUHAN, yang mengatakannya."
6:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
6:1 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
6:2 Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,
6:2 "Hai anak manusia, tujukanlah mukamu ke gunung-gunung Israel dan bernubuatlah melawan mereka!
6:3 And say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.
6:3 Katakanlah: Hai gunung-gunung Israel, dengarkanlah firman Tuhan ALLAH! Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH kepada gunung-gunung dan bukit-bukit, kepada alur-alur sungai dan lembah-lembah: Sungguh, Aku akan mendatangkan perang atasmu dan Aku akan membinasakan bukit-bukit pengorbananmu.
6:4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.
6:4 Mezbah-mezbahmu akan menjadi sunyi sepi dan pedupaan-pedupaanmu akan dirusak; dan Aku akan merebahkan orang-orangmu yang terbunuh di hadapan berhala-berhalamu.
6:5 And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.
6:5 Aku akan mencampakkan mayat-mayat orang Israel di hadapan berhala-berhala mereka dan menghamburkan tulang-tulangmu keliling mezbah-mezbahmu.
6:6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.
6:6 Di mana saja kamu diam, kota-kotamu akan menjadi reruntuhan dan bukit-bukit pengorbananmu akan menjadi sunyi sepi, supaya mezbah-mezbahmu dihancurkan dan ditinggalkan sunyi sepi, berhala-berhalamu diremukkan dan ditiadakan, pedupaan-pedupaanmu diluluhkan dan buatan-buatan tanganmu dihapuskan.
6:7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
6:7 Dan orang-orangmu yang terbunuh akan berebahan di tengah-tengahmu dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that all of you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when all of you shall be scattered through the countries.
6:8 Tetapi sebagian, yaitu yang terluput dari pedang, akan Kutinggalkan hidup di antara bangsa-bangsa, bilamana kamu dihamburkan ke negeri-negeri itu.
6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.
6:9 Di sana, di tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa, ke mana mereka dibawa tertawan, orang-orang yang terluput dari antara kamu akan mengingat kepada-Ku, tatkala Aku mengembalikan hati mereka yang berzinah itu, yang sudah menjauh dari pada-Ku dan mengalihkan mata mereka, yang selalu berzinah dengan mengikuti berhala-berhala mereka; maka mereka sendiri akan merasa mual melihat kejahatan yang mereka lakukan dan melihat segala perbuatan mereka yang keji.
6:10 And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.
6:10 Dan mereka akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN dan bukan cakap angin, kalau Aku berfirman hendak menjatuhkan malapetaka ini atas mereka."
6:11 Thus says the Lord GOD; Strike with yours hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.
6:11 Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: "Bertepuklahdan entakkanlah kakimu ketanah dan serukanlah: Awas! Oleh sebab segala perbuatan kaum Israel yang keji dan jahat, mereka akan rebah mati karena pedang, kelaparan dan penyakit sampar.
6:12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.
6:12 Yang jauh akan mati karena sampar, yang dekat akan rebah karena pedang dan yang terluput serta terpelihara akan mati karena kelaparan. Demikianlah Aku akan melampiaskan amarah-Ku kepada mereka.
6:13 Then shall all of you know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.
6:13 Dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN, tatkala orang-orang mereka yang terbunuh berebahan di tengah-tengah berhala-berhala mereka keliling mezbah-mezbahnya, di atas setiap bukit yang tinggi dan di atas semua puncak-puncak gunung, di bawah setiap pohon yang rimbun dan setiap pohon keramat yang penuh cabang-cabang, di tempat mana mereka membawa korban persembahan yang harum bagi semua berhala-berhala mereka.
6:14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
6:14 Aku akan mengacungkan tangan-Ku melawan mereka dan tanahnya, di mana saja mereka diam, akan Kubuat menjadi musnah dan sunyi sepi mulai dari padang gurun sampai ke Ribla dan mereka akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah
TUHAN."
7:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
7:1 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
7:2 Also, you son of man, thus says the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end has come upon the four corners of the land.
7:2 "Engkau, anak manusia, katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH kepada tanah Israel: Berakhir! Berakhirlah keempat penjuru tanah itu.
7:3 Now is the end come upon you, and I will send mine anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all yours abominations.
7:3 Kini kesudahanmu tiba dan Aku akan mencurahkan murka-Ku atasmu dan Aku akan menghakimi engkau selaras dengan tingkah lakumu dan Aku akan membalaskan kepadamu segala perbuatanmu yang keji.
7:4 And mine eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and yours abominations shall be in the midst of you: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
7:4 Aku tidak akan merasa sayang kepadamu dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan, tetapi Aku akan membalaskan kepadamu selaras dengan tingkah lakumu dan perbuatan-perbuatanmu yang keji akan tertimpa atasmu. Maka kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
7:5 Thus says the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, has come.
7:5 Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Lihat, bencana demi bencana akan datang!
7:6 An end has come, the end has come: it watches for you; behold, it has come.
7:6 Kesudahan datang, kesudahanmu tiba, seakan-akan ia terbangun melawan engkau, lihat datangnya!
7:7 The morning has come unto you, O you that dwell in the land: the time has come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.
7:7 Malapetaka datang atasmu, hai penduduk negeri! Waktunya datang, saatnya tiba! Hari huru-hara, bukan tempik sorak di atas gunung-gunung.
7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish mine anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all yours abominations.
7:8 Sekarang dengan segera Aku akan mencurahkan amarah-Ku atasmu dan melampiaskan murka-Ku kepadamu, Aku akan menghakimi engkau selaras dengan tingkah lakumu dan membalaskan kepadamu segala perbuatan-perbuat yang keji.
7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and yours abominations that are in the midst of you; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD that strikes.
7:9 Aku tidak akan merasa sayang dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan; selaras dengan tingkah lakumu akan Kubalaskan kepadamu dan perbuatan-perbuatanm yang keji akan tertimpa atasmu. Maka kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Aku, Tuhanlah, yang memusnahkan.
7:10 Behold the day, behold, it has come: the morning is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.
7:10 Lihat, harinya sungguh datang: malapetaka akan menimpa, kelaliman bertunas, keangkuhan bertaruk.
7:11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their's: neither shall there be wailing for them.
7:11 Kekerasan bersimaharajalela, yang menjadi penopang segala kejahatan. Tidak ada dari mereka yang tertinggal, baik dari kelimpahan mereka maupun dari kemewahannya; kemolekannyapun akan terhapus.
7:12 The time has come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
7:12 Waktunya datang, harinya mendekat! Biarlah si pembeli jangan bergembira dan biarlah si penjual jangan berdukacita, karena kehangatan murka tertimpa atas segala kegemparan mereka.
7:13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is concerning the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.
7:13 Sebab si penjual tidak akan kembali kepada jualannya, kalaupun mereka masih di tengah-tengah orang hidup, karena kehangatan murka tertimpa atas segala kegemparan mereka dan tidak dapat ditahan lagi, dan seorangpun tidak dapat mempertahankan hidupnya oleh karena kesalahannya.
7:14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.
7:14 Tiuplah sangkakala dan sediakanlah segala sesuatu! Tetapi seorangpun tidak maju berperang, sebab kehangatan murka-Ku tertimpa atas segala kegemparan mereka.
7:15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.
7:15 Pedang ada di luar kota, sampar dan kelaparan ada di dalam. Barangsiapa yang di luar kota akan mati karena pedang, dan barangsiapa yang di dalam kota akan binasa oleh kelaparan dan sampar.
7:16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.
7:16 Dan kalaupun ada yang terluput dari antara mereka, mereka akan tinggal di gunung-gunung seperti burung perkutut di lembah-lembah, semuanya mengerang, masing-masing karena kesalahannya sendiri.
7:17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.
7:17 Semua tangan terkulai dan semua orang terkencing ketakutan.
7:18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.
7:18 Mereka akan mengenakan kain kabung, kekejutan akan meliputi mereka, semuanya akan kehilangan muka dan semua kepala akan digundul sebagai tanda perkabungan.
7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.
7:19 Perak mereka akan dicampakkan ke luar dan emas mereka akan dianggap cemar. Emas dan peraknya tidak akan dapat menyelamatkan mereka pada hari kemurkaan TUHAN. Mereka tidak akan kenyang karenanya dan perut mereka tidak akan terisi dengannya. Sebab hal itu menjadi batu sandungan, yang menjatuhkan mereka ke dalam kesalahan.
7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.
7:20 Mereka menghiasi dirinya dengan emas dan peraknya dan kepermaian perhiasan ini membawa mereka dalam kecongkakan. Dari emas dan perak itu mereka membuat patung-patungnya yang keji dan dewa-dewanya yang menjijikkan; oleh sebab itu Aku akan menjadikan emas dan peraknya cemar bagi mereka.
7:21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.
7:21 Aku akan menyerahkannya menjadi rampasan di tangan orang-orang asing dan menjadi jarahan bagi orang-orang fasik di bumi ini, dan mereka ini akan menajiskannya.
7:22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.
7:22 Aku akan memalingkan wajah-Ku dari pada mereka dan perampok-perampok akan menajiskan rumah-Ku yang berharga; mereka akan masuk ke dalamnya dan menajiskannya,
7:23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.
7:23 serta memusnahkannya. Sebab negeri itu penuh hutang darah dan kota itu penuh kekerasan.
7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.
7:24 Aku akan membiarkan datang bangsa-bangsa yang paling kejam dan bangsa-bangsa ini akan mengambil rumah-rumah mereka menjadi miliknya; Aku akan mengakhiri kecongkakan mereka, yang ditimbulkan kekuatan mereka itu, dan tempat-tempat kudus mereka akan dinajiskan.
7:25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.
7:25 Ketakutan datang, dan mereka mencari keselamatan, tetapi tidak ada.
7:26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.
7:26 Bencana demi bencana akan datang, kabar demi kabar akan tersiar. Mereka akan menginginkan suatu penglihatan dari nabi, pengajaran hilang lenyap dari imam, dan nasihat dari tua-tua.
7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
7:27 Raja akan berkabung dan pemimpin akan diliputi kekagetan dan tangan seluruh penduduk negeri itu menjadi lemas ketakutan. Aku akan perbuat terhadap mereka selaras dengan tingkah lakunya dan Aku akan menghakimi mereka selaras dengan cara mereka menghakimi.
Dan mereka akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN."
8:1 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.
8:1 Pada tahun keenam, dalam bulan yang keenam, pada tanggal lima bulan itu, waktu aku duduk di rumahku berhadap-hadapan dengan para tua-tua Yehuda, kekuasaan Tuhan ALLAH meliputi aku di sana,
8:2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.
8:2 dan aku menerima penglihatan: Sungguh, ada kelihatan yang menyerupai seorang laki-laki, dari yang menyerupai pinggangnya sampai ke bawah kelihatan seperti api dan dari pinggangnya ke atas kelihatan seperti cahaya, seperti suasa mengkilat.
8:3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.
8:3 Dia mengulurkan sesuatu yang berbentuk tangan dan dipegang-Nya jambul kepalaku. Lalu Roh itu mengangkat aku ke antara langit dan bumi dan membawa aku dalam penglihatan-penglihatan ilahi ke Yerusalem dekat pintu gerbang pelataran dalam yang menghadap ke utara, di mana terdapat berhala cemburuan, yang menimbulkan cemburu itu.
8:4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.
8:4 Lihat, di sana tampak kemuliaan Allah Israel, seperti penglihatan yang kulihat di lembah itu.
8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up yours eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.
8:5 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, lihatlah ke utara!" Aku melihat ke utara, sungguh, di sebelah utara gerbang mezbah, dekat jalan masuk, terdapat berhala cemburuan tadi.
8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, see you what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations.
8:6 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, kaulihatkah apa yang mereka perbuat, yaitu perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang besar-besar, yang dilakukan oleh kaum Israel di sini, sehingga Aku harus menjauhkan diri dari tempat kudus-Ku? Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi."
8:7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.
8:7 Dan dibawa-Nya aku ke pintu pelataran, aku melihat, sungguh, ada sebuah lobang di dalam temboknya.
8:8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had dug in the wall, behold a door.
8:8 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, perbesarlah lobang yang di tembok itu!" Sesudah aku memperbesar lobang itu, lihat, ada sebuah pintu.
8:9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.
8:9 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Masuklah dan lihatlah perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang jahat, yang mereka lakukan di sini."
8:10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.
8:10 Lalu aku masuk dan melihat, sungguh, segala gambar-gambar binatang melata dan binatang-binatang lain yang menjijikkan dan segala berhala-berhala kaum Israel terukir pada tembok sekelilingnya.
8:11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.
8:11 Dan di hadapannya berdiri tujuh puluh orang tua-tua kaum Israel, dengan Yaazanya bin Safan di tengah-tengah mereka dan masing-masing memegang bokor ukupannya di tangannya, dan keharuman dari asap ukupan itu naik ke atas.
8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD sees us not; the LORD has forsaken the earth.
8:12 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Kaulihatkah, hai anak manusia, apa yang dilakukan oleh tua-tua kaum Israel di dalam kegelapan, masing-masing di dalam kamar tempat ukiran-ukiran mereka? Sebab mereka berkata: TUHAN tidak melihat kita; TUHAN sudah meninggalkan tanah ini."
8:13 He said also unto me, Turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations that they do.
8:13 Ditambahkan-Nya lagi: "Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi yang mereka lakukan."
8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.
8:14 Lalu dibawa-Nya aku dekat pintu gerbang rumah TUHAN yang di sebelah utara, sungguh, di sana ada perempuan-perempuan yang menangisi dewa Tamus.
8:15 Then said he unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.
8:15 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, kaulihatkah apa yang mereka perbuat? Engkau masih akan melihat perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang lebih besar lagi dari pada ini."
8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.
8:16 Kemudian dibawa-Nya aku ke pelataran dalam rumah TUHAN; sungguh, dekat jalan masuk ke bait TUHAN, di antara balai Bait Suci dan mezbah ada kira-kira dua puluh lima orang laki-laki, yang membelakangi bait TUHAN dan menghadap ke sebelah timur sambil sujud pada matahari di sebelah timur.
8:17 Then he said unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.
8:17 Lalu firman-Nya kepadaku: "Kaulihatkah itu, hai anak manusia? Perkara kecilkah itu bagi kaum Yehuda untuk melakukan perbuatan-perbuatan kekejian yang mereka lakukan di sini, bahwa mereka memenuhi tanah ini dengan kekerasan dan dengan itu terus menyakiti hati-Ku? Sungguh, mereka berkelakuan tak senonoh di hadapan-Ku.
8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.
8:18 Oleh karena itu Aku akan membalas di dalam kemurkaan-Ku. Aku tidak akan merasa sayang dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan. Dan kalaupun mereka berseru-seru kepada-Ku dengan suara yang nyaring, Aku tidak akan mendengarkan mereka."
9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.
9:1 Lalu aku mendengar Dia berseru dengan suara yang nyaring: "Maju ke mari, hai, yang harus menjalankan hukuman atas kota ini! Masing-masing dengan alat pemusnah di tangannya!"
9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lies toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's ink holder by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.
9:2 Lihat, enam orang laki-laki datang dari jurusan pintu gerbang Atas, yang menghadap ke utara, masing-masing dengan alat pemukul di tangannya. Dan satu orang di antara mereka berpakaian lenan dan di sisinya terdapat suatu alat penulis. Mereka ini masuk dan berdiri di samping mezbah tembaga.
9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's ink holder by his side;
9:3 Pada saat itu kemuliaan Allah Israel sudah terangkat dari atas kerub, tempatnya semula, ke atas ambang pintu Bait Suci dan Dia memanggil orang yang berpakaian lenan dan yang mempunyai alat penulis di sisinya.
9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.
9:4 Firman TUHAN kepadanya: "Berjalanlah dari tengah-tengah kota, yaitu Yerusalem dan tulislah huruf T pada dahi orang-orang yang berkeluh kesah karena segala perbuatan-perbuatan keji yang dilakukan di sana."
9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go all of you after him through the city, and strike: let not your eye spare, neither have all of you pity:
9:5 Dan kepada yang lain-lain aku mendengar Dia berfirman: "Ikutilah dia dari belakang melalui kota itu dan pukullah sampai mati! Janganlah merasa sayang dan jangan kenal belas kasihan.
9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.
9:6 Orang-orang tua, teruna-teruna dan dara-dara, anak-anak kecil dan perempuan-perempuan, bunuh dan musnahkan! Tetapi semua orang yang ditandai dengan huruf T itu, jangan singgung! Dan mulailah dari tempat kudus-Ku!" Lalu mereka mulai dengan tua-tua yang berada di hadapan Bait Suci.
9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go all of you forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.
9:7 Kemudian firman-Nya kepada mereka: "Najiskanlah Bait Suci itu dan penuhilah pelataran-pelatarannya dengan orang-orang yang terbunuh. Pergilah!" Mereka pergi ke luar dan memukuli orang-orang sampai mati di dalam kota.
9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your fury upon Jerusalem?
9:8 Sedang mereka memukuli orang-orang sampai mati--waktu itu aku tinggal di belakang--aku sujud dan berseru, kataku: "Aduh, Tuhan ALLAH, apakah Engkau memusnahkan seluruh sisa Israel di dalam mencurahkan amarah-Mu atas Yerusalem?"
9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD sees not.
9:9 Jawab-Nya kepadaku: "Kesalahan kaum Israel dan Yehuda sangat banyak, sehingga tanah ini penuh hutang darah dan kota ini penuh ketidakadilan; sebab mereka berkata: TUHAN sudah meninggalkan tanah ini dan TUHAN tidak melihatnya.
9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.
9:10 Karena itu Aku juga tidak akan merasa sayang dan tidak akan kenal belas kasihan; kelakuan mereka akan Kutimpakan atas kepala mereka."
9:11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the ink holder by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.
9:11 Lihat, orang yang berpakaian lenan itu dan yang mempunyai alat penulis di sisinya memberikan laporan, katanya: "Aku sudah kerjakan seperti Engkau perintahkan kepadaku."
10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.
10:1 Lalu aku melihat, sungguh, di atas cakrawala yang di atas kepala kerub tampak di atas mereka sesuatu yang menyerupai takhta, yang seperti permata lazurit kelihatannya.
10:2 And he spoke unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill yours hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.
10:2 Maka Ia berkata kepada orang yang berpakaian lenan itu: "Masuklah ke bawah kerub dari antara roda-rodanya dan penuhilah rangkup tanganmu dengan bara api dari tengah-tengah kerub itu dan hamburkan ke atas kota itu." Lalu aku melihat dia masuk.
10:3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.
10:3 Kerub-kerub itu berdiri di sebelah selatan Bait Suci, waktu orang itu masuk ke tengah-tengah roda-rodanya; dan segumpal awan memenuhi pelataran dalam.
10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.
10:4 Dalam pada itu kemuliaan TUHAN naik dari atas kerub dan pergi ke atas ambang pintu Bait Suci, dan Bait Suci ini dipenuhi oleh awan itu dan pelatarannya penuh dengan sinar kemuliaan TUHAN.
10:5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaks.
10:5 Suara sayap kerub itu terdengar sampai pelataran luar seperti suara ALLAH Yang Mahakuasa, kalau Ia berfirman.
10:6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.
10:6 Ia memerintahkan kepada orang yang berpakaian lenan itu: "Ambillah api dari tengah-tengah roda-rodanya, dari tengah-tengah kerub itu!" Maka yang berpakaian lenan ini pergi berdiri di samping salah satu dari roda-roda itu.
10:7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.
10:7 Lalu seorang kerub itu mengulurkan tangannya dari tengah kerub-kerub ke api yang ada di tengah-tengah mereka, diambilnya sedikit dan ditaruhnya di dalam tangan orang yang berpakaian lenan. Orang ini menerimanya dan pergi.
10:8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.
10:8 Pada kerub-kerub itu tampak yang menyerupai tangan manusia di bawah sayap mereka.
10:9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.
10:9 Aku melihat, sungguh, di samping kerub-kerub itu terdapat empat roda, satu roda di samping seorang kerub, dan roda-roda ini kelihatannya seperti kilauan permata pirus.
10:10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.
10:10 Kelihatannya keempatnya adalah serupa, seolah-olah roda yang satu di tengah-tengah yang lain.
10:11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.
10:11 Kalau mereka berjalan mereka dapat menuju keempat jurusan tanpa berbalik kalau berjalan; karena tempat mana yang dituju oleh yang di muka, ke situlah pergi yang lain-lain, tanpa berbalik kalau berjalan.
10:12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.
10:12 Seluruh badan mereka, punggungnya, tangannya, sayapnya, dan roda-rodanya penuh dengan mata sekelilingnya, ya, roda-roda mereka berempat juga.
10:13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.
10:13 Aku dengar bahwa roda-rodanya disebut "puting beliung".
10:14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.
10:14 Masing-masing mempunyai empat muka: muka yang pertama ialah muka kerub, yang kedua ialah muka manusia, yang ketiga ialah muka singa dan yang keempat ialah muka rajawali.
10:15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.
10:15 Kerub-kerub itu naik ke atas. Itulah makhluk-makhluk hidup yang dahulu kulihat di tepi sungai Kebar.
10:16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.
10:16 Kalau kerub-kerub itu berjalan, roda-roda itu juga berjalan di samping mereka; kalau kerub-kerub itu mengangkat sayapnya untuk terbang dari tanah, roda-roda itu tidak bergerak dari samping mereka.
10:17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.
10:17 Kalau kerub-kerub itu berhenti, roda-roda itu berhenti, kalau kerub-kerub itu naik ke atas, roda-roda itu sama-sama naik dengan mereka; sebab roh makhluk-makhluk hidup itu ialah di dalam roda-roda itu.
10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.
10:18 Lalu kemuliaan TUHAN pergi dari ambang pintu Bait Suci dan hinggap di atas kerub-kerub.
10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
10:19 Dan kerub-kerub itu mengangkat sayap mereka, dan waktu mereka pergi, aku lihat, mereka naik dari tanah dan roda-rodanya bersama-sama dengan mereka. Lalu mereka berhenti dekat pintu gerbang rumah TUHAN yang di sebelah timur, sedang kemuliaan Allah Israel berada di atas mereka.
10:20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.
10:20 Itulah makhluk-makhluk hidup yang dahulu kulihat di bawah Allah Israel di tepi sungai Kebar. Dan aku mengerti, bahwa mereka adalah kerub-kerub.
10:21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.
10:21 Masing-masing mempunyai empat muka dan bagi masing-masing ada empat sayap dan di bawah sayap mereka ada yang berbentuk tangan manusia.
10:22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.
10:22 Kelihatannya muka mereka adalah serupa dengan muka yang kulihat di tepi sungai Kebar. Masing-masing berjalan lurus ke mukanya.
11:1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looks eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.
11:1 Lalu Roh itu mengangkat aku dan membawa aku ke pintu gerbang Timur dari rumah TUHAN, pintu yang menghadap ke sebelah timur. Lihat, di dalam pintu gerbang itu ada dua puluh lima orang dan di antara mereka kulihat Yaazanya bin Azur dan Pelaca bin Benaya, yaitu pemimpin-pemimpin bangsa.
11:2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:
11:2 Firman-Nya kepadaku: "Hai anak manusia, inilah orang-orang yang merancang kedurjanaan dan menaburkan nasihat jahat di kota ini,
11:3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.
11:3 yang mengatakan: Bukankah belum lama berselang rumah-rumah kita dibangun kembali? Kota inilah periuk dan kita dagingnya.
11:4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.
11:4 Oleh sebab itu bernubuatlah melawan mereka, bernubuatlah, hai anak manusia!"
11:5 And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus says the LORD; Thus have all of you said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.
11:5 Maka Roh TUHAN meliputi aku dan TUHAN berfirman kepadaku: "Katakanlah: Beginilah firman TUHAN: Kamu berkata-kata begini, hai kaum Israel, dan Aku tahu apa yang timbul dalam hatimu.
11:6 All of you have multiplied your slain in this city, and all of you have filled the streets thereof with the slain.
11:6 Orang-orang yang kamu bunuh di kota ini bertambah banyak dan kamu penuhi jalan-jalannya dengan mereka.
11:7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Your slain whom all of you have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.
11:7 Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Orang-orang yang kamu bunuh di kota ini, merekalah dagingnya dan kota inilah periuk, tetapi kamu akan Kugiring keluar dari dalamnya.
11:8 All of you have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord GOD.
11:8 Kamu takut kepada pedang, tetapi Aku akan mendatangkan pedang atasmu, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH.
11:9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.
11:9 Aku akan menggiring kamu keluar dari dalamnya dan menyerahkan kamu di tangan orang-orang asing dan menjatuhkan hukuman-hukuman kepadamu.
11:10 All of you shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
11:10 Kamu akan berebahan karena pedang dan di tanah Israel Aku akan menghukum kamu; dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
11:11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall all of you be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:
11:11 Kota ini tidak akan menjadi periuk bagimu ataupun kamu seakan-akan daging di dalamnya; di tanah Israel Aku akan menghukum kamu.
11:12 And all of you shall know that I am the LORD: for all of you have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.
11:12 Dan kamu akan mengetahui, bahwa Akulah TUHAN, karena kelakuanmu tidak selaras dengan ketetapan-ketetapan-Ku dan peraturan-peraturan-Ku tidak kamu lakukan; bahkan engkau melakukan peraturan-peraturan bangsa-bangsa yang di sekitarmu."
11:13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?
11:13 Maka sedang aku bernubuat, matilah Pelaca bin Benaya. Lalu aku sujud dan berseru dengan suara nyaring, kataku: "Aduh, Tuhan ALLAH, apakah Engkau menghabiskan sisa Israel?"
11:14 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
11:14 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
11:15 Son of man, your brethren, even your brethren, the men of your kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.
11:15 "Hai anak manusia, penduduk-penduduk Yerusalem berkata tentang semua saudara-saudaramu, tentang kaum kerabatmu dan segenap kaum Israel dalam keseluruhannya: Mereka telah jauh dari TUHAN, kepada kami tanah ini diberikan menjadi milik.
11:16 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.
11:16 Oleh sebab itu katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Walaupun Aku membawa mereka jauh-jauh di antara bangsa-bangsa dan menyerakkan mereka di negeri-negeri itu dan Aku menjadi tempat kudus yang sedikit artinya bagi mereka di negeri-negeri di mana mereka datang,
11:17 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where all of you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.
11:17 oleh sebab itu katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Aku akan menghimpunkan kamu dari bangsa-bangsa dan mengumpulkan kamu dari negeri-negeri di mana kamu berserak, dan Aku akan memberikan kamu tanah Israel.
11:18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.
11:18 Maka sesudah mereka datang di sana, mereka akan menjauhkan segala dewa-dewanya yang menjijikkan dan segala perbuatan-perbuatan yang keji dari tanah itu.
11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:
11:19 Aku akan memberikan mereka hati yang lain dan roh yang baru di dalam batin mereka; juga Aku akan menjauhkan dari tubuh mereka hati yang keras dan memberikan mereka hati yang taat,
11:20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.
11:20 supaya mereka hidup menurut segala ketetapan-Ku dan peraturan-peraturan-K dengan setia; maka mereka akan menjadi umat-Ku dan Aku akan menjadi Allah mereka.
11:21 But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, says the Lord GOD.
11:21 Mengenai mereka, yang hatinya berpaut pada dewa-dewanya yang menjijikkan dan pada perbuatan-perbuatannya yang keji, Aku akan menimpakan kelakuan mereka atas kepalanya sendiri, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.
11:22 Maka kerub-kerub itu mengangkat sayap mereka, dan roda-rodanya bergerak bersama-sama dengan mereka, sedang kemuliaan Allah Israel berada di atas mereka.
11:23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.
11:23 Lalu kemuliaan TUHAN naik ke atas dari tengah-tengah kota dan hinggap di atas gunung yang di sebelah timur kota.
11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.
11:24 Dan Roh itu mengangkat aku dan membawa aku kembali di dalam penglihatan yang dari Roh Allah ke negeri Kasdim kepada para buangan. Lalu menghilanglah penglihatan yang kulihat itu dari padaku
11:25 Then I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had showed me.
11:25 dan aku sampaikan kepada para buangan itu segala sesuatu yang diperlihatkan TUHAN kepadaku.
12:1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,
12:1 Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
12:2 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.
12:2 "Hai anak manusia, engkau tinggal di tengah-tengah kaum pemberontak, yang mempunyai mata untuk melihat, tetapi tidak melihat dan mempunyai telinga untuk mendengar, tetapi tidak mendengar, sebab mereka adalah kaum pemberontak.
12:3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.
12:3 Maka engkau, anak manusia, sediakanlah bagimu barang-barang seorang buangan dan berjalanlah seperti seorang buangan pada siang hari di hadapan mata mereka; pergilah dari tempatmu sekarang ke tempat yang lain seperti seorang buangan di hadapan mata mereka. Barangkali mereka akan insaf bahwa mereka adalah kaum pemberontak.
12:4 Then shall you bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and you shall go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.
12:4 Bawalah barang-barangmu itu ke luar seperti barang-barang seorang buangan pada siang hari di hadapan mata mereka; dan engkau sendiri harus keluar pada malam hari di hadapan mata mereka, seperti seorang yang harus keluar dan pergi ke pembuangan.
12:5 Dig you through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.
12:5 Di hadapan mata mereka perbuatlah sebuah lobang di tembok dan keluarlah dari situ.
12:6 In their sight shall you bear it upon your shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: you shall cover your face, that you see not the ground: for I have set you for a sign unto the house of Israel.
12:6 Di hadapan mata mereka taruhlah barang-barangmu ke atas bahumu, dan bawalah itu ke luar pada malam gelap; engkau harus menutupi mukamu, sehingga engkau tidak melihat tanah; sebab Aku membuat engkau menjadi lambang bagi kaum Israel."
12:7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I dug through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.
12:7 Lalu kulakukan seperti diperintahkan kepadaku: aku membawa pada siang hari barang-barang seperti barang-barang seorang buangan dan pada malam hari aku membuat dengan tanganku sebuah lobang di tembok, pada malam gelap aku keluar dan di hadapan mata mereka aku menaruh barang-barangku ke atas bahuku.
12:8 And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,
12:8 Pada hari besoknya datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
12:9 Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto you, What do you?
12:9 "Hai anak manusia, bukankah ditanya oleh kaum Israel, kaum pemberontak itu kepadamu: Apakah yang kaulakukan ini?
12:10 Say you unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.
12:10 Katakanlah kepada mereka: beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Ucapan ilahi ini mengenai raja di Yerusalem dan seluruh kaum Israel yang tinggal di sana.
12:11 Say, I am your sign: like I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.
12:11 Katakanlah: Aku menjadi lambang bagimu; seperti yang kulakukan ini begitulah akan berlaku kepada mereka: sebagai orang buangan mereka akan pergi ke pembuangan.
12:12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.
12:12 Dan raja yang di tengah-tengah mereka akan menaruh barang-barangnya ke atas bahunya pada malam gelap dan akan pergi ke luar; orang akan membuat sebuah lobang di tembok supaya ada baginya jalan keluar; ia akan menutupi mukanya supaya ia tidak akan melihat tanah itu.
12:13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.
12:13 Aku akan memasang jaring-Ku untuk menangkap dia dan di dalam perangkap-Ku dia akan terjebak dan Aku akan membawa dia ke Babel, tanah orang Kasdim, tetapi tanah itu sendiri tidak akan dilihatnya; ia akan mati di sana.
12:14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.
12:14 Dan semua yang di sekitarnya, para pembantunya dan bala tentaranya, akan Kuhamburkan ke semua mata angin dan Aku akan menghunus pedang dari belakang mereka.
12:15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.
12:15 Maka mereka akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN, apabila aku menyerakkan mereka di antara bangsa-bangsa dan menghamburkan mereka ke semua negeri.
12:16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen where they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.
12:16 Tetapi Aku akan meninggalkan sedikit dari mereka yang luput dari pedang, dari kelaparan dan dari sampar, supaya mereka menceriterakan segala perbuatan-perbuatan mereka yang keji di antara bangsa-bangsa, di mana mereka datang; dan mereka akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN."
12:17 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
12:17 Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
12:18 Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with carefulness;
12:18 "Hai anak manusia, makanlah makananmu dengan gemetar dan minumlah air dengan menggigil dan dengan hati yang cemas,
12:19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus says the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.
12:19 dan katakanlah kepada penduduk negeri ini: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH tentang penduduk Yerusalem yang di tanah Israel: Mereka akan makan makanannya dengan hati yang cemas dan minum air dengan hati yang gundah-gulana supaya tanah mereka menjadi sunyi sepi lantaran isinya sudah lenyap, oleh karena kekerasan yang dilakukan oleh semua yang tinggal di sana.
12:20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
12:20 Kota-kota yang masih didiami orang akan menjadi reruntuhan dan tanah itu akan menjadi sunyi sepi; dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN."
12:21 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
12:21 Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
12:22 Son of man, what is that proverb that all of you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?
12:22 "Hai anak manusia, sindiran apakah itu yang hidup di antara kamu di tanah Israel, yang berbunyi: Sudah lama berselang, tetapi satu penglihatanpun tak jadi?
12:23 Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.
12:23 Oleh karena itu katakanlah kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Aku akan menghentikan sindiran ini dan orang tidak akan mengucapkannya lagi di tanah Israel. Sebaliknya, katakanlah kepada mereka: Waktunya sudah dekat dan tiap penglihatan akan jadi.
12:24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.
12:24 Sebab tidak akan ada lagi penglihatan yang menipu ataupun tenungan yang menyesatkan di tengah-tengah kaum Israel,
12:25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the Lord GOD.
12:25 sebab Aku, TUHAN, akan berfirman dan apa yang Kufirmankan akan terjadi, dan firman itu tidak akan ditunda-tunda lagi, sebab pada masa hidupmu, hai kaum pemberontak, Aku akan mengucapkan suatu firman dan Aku akan menggenapinya, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
12:26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying.
12:26 Lalu datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
12:27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.
12:27 "Hai anak manusia, lihatlah, kaum Israel berkata: Penglihatan yang dilihatnya itu, harinya masih jauh, nubuatan yang diucapkannya, waktunya masih lama.
12:28 Therefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says the Lord GOD.
12:28 Oleh karena itu katakanlah kepada mereka: Beginilah firman Tuhan
ALLAH: Tidak satupun dari firman-Ku akan ditunda-tunda.
Apa yang Kufirmankan akan terjadi, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
13:1 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say you unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear all of you the word of the LORD;
13:2 "Hai anak manusia, bernubuatlah melawan nabi-nabi Israel, bernubuatlah dan katakanlah kepada mereka yang bernubuat sesuka hatinya saja: Dengarlah firman TUHAN!
13:3 Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!
13:3 Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Celakalah nabi-nabi yang bebal yang mengikuti bisikan hatinya sendiri dan yang tidak melihat sesuatu penglihatan.
13:4 O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.
13:4 Seperti anjing hutan di tengah-tengah reruntuhan, begitulah nabi-nabimu, hai Israel!
13:5 All of you have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.
13:5 Kamu tidak mempertahankan lobang-lobang pada tembokmu dan tidak mendirikan tembok sekeliling rumah Israel, supaya mereka dapat tetap berdiri di dalam peperangan pada hari TUHAN.
13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says: and the LORD has not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.
13:6 Penglihatan mereka menipu dan tenungan mereka adalah bohong; mereka berkata: Demikianlah firman TUHAN, padahal TUHAN tidak mengutus mereka, dan mereka menanti firman itu digenapi-Nya.
13:7 Have all of you not seen a vain vision, and have all of you not spoken a lying divination, whereas all of you say, The LORD says it; although it be I have not spoken?
13:7 Bukankah penglihatan tipuan yang kamu lihat dan tenungan bohong yang kamu katakan, kalau kamu berkata: Demikianlah firman TUHAN, padahal Aku tidak berbicara?
13:8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD.
13:8 Sebab itu, beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH, oleh karena kamu mengatakan kata-kata dusta dan melihat perkara-perkara bohong, maka Aku akan menjadi lawanmu, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH.
13:9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and all of you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.
13:9 Aku akan mengacungkan tangan-Ku melawan nabi-nabi yang melihat perkara-perkara yang menipu dan yang mengucapkan tenungan-tenungan bohong; mereka tidak termasuk perkumpulan umat-Ku dan tidak akan tercatat dalam daftar kaum Israel, dan tidak akan masuk lagi di tanah Israel; dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah Tuhan ALLAH.
13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with plaster:
13:10 Oleh karena, ya sungguh karena mereka menyesatkan umat-Ku dengan mengatakan: Damai sejahtera!, padahal sama sekali tidak ada damai sejahtera--mereka itu mendirikan tembok dan lihat, mereka mengapurnya--
13:11 Say unto them which daub it with plaster, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and all of you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.
13:11 katakanlah kepada mereka yang mengapur tembok itu: Hujan lebat akan membanjir, rambun akan jatuh dan angin tofan akan bertiup!
13:12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith all of you have daubed it?
13:12 Kalau tembok itu sudah runtuh, apakah orang tidak akan berkata kepadamu: Di mana sekarang kapur, yang kamu oleskan itu?
13:13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.
13:13 Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Di dalam amarah-Ku Aku akan membuat angin tofan bertiup dan di dalam murka-Ku hujan lebat akan membanjir, dan di dalam amarah-Ku rambun yang membinasakan akan jatuh.
13:14 So will I break down the wall that all of you have daubed with plaster, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and all of you shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
13:14 Dan Aku akan meruntuhkan tembok yang kamu kapur itu dan merobohkannya ke tanah, supaya dasarnya menjadi kelihatan; tembok kota itu akan runtuh dan kamu akan tewas di dalamnya. Dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
13:15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with plaster, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;
13:15 Begitulah Aku akan melampiaskan amarah-Ku atas tembok itu dan kepada mereka yang mengapurnya dan Aku akan berkata kepadamu: Lenyap temboknya dan lenyap orang-orang yang mengapurnya,
13:16 To know, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord GOD.
13:16 yaitu nabi-nabi Israel yang bernubuat tentang Yerusalem dan melihat baginya suatu penglihatan mengenai damai sejahtera, padahal sama sekali tidak ada damai sejahtera, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
13:17 Likewise, you son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,
13:17 "Engkau anak manusia, tujukanlah mukamu kepada kaum perempuan bangsamu yang bernubuat sesuka hatinya saja dan bernubuatlah melawan mereka.
13:18 And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will all of you hunt the souls of my people, and will all of you save the souls alive that come unto you?
13:18 Katakanlah: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Celakalah dukun-dukun perempuan, yang mengikatkan tali-tali azimat pada semua pergelangan dan mengenakan selubung pada kepala semua orang, tua atau muda, untuk menangkap jiwa orang. Apakah kamu hendak menangkap jiwa orang yang termasuk umat-Ku dan membiarkan orang-orang lain hidup untuk kepentinganmu?
13:19 And will all of you pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?
13:19 Kamu melanggar kekudusan-Ku di tengah-tengah umat-Ku hanya demi beberapa genggam jelai dan beberapa potong roti, dengan membunuh orang-orang yang tidak patut mati, dan membiarkan hidup orang-orang yang tidak patut hidup, dalam hal kamu berbohong kepada umat-Ku yang sedia mendengar bohong.
13:20 Wherefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith all of you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that all of you hunt to make them fly.
13:20 Oleh sebab itu beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Aku akan menentang tali-tali azimatmu, dengan mana kamu menangkap jiwa orang dan Aku akan mengoyakkannya dari tanganmu dan melepaskan seperti burung-burung, orang-orang yang kamu tangkap.
13:21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
13:21 Aku akan mengoyakkan selubungmu dan akan melepaskan umat-Ku dari tanganmu dan mereka tidak lagi menjadi mangsa di dalam tanganmu. Dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
13:22 Because with lies all of you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:
13:22 Oleh karena kamu melemahkan hati orang benar dengan dusta, sedang Aku tidak mendukakan hatinya, dan sebaliknya kamu mengeraskan hati orang fasik, sehingga ia tidak bertobat dari kelakuannya yang fasik itu, dan kamu membiarkan dia hidup.
13:23 Therefore all of you shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
13:23 Oleh sebab itu kamu tidak lagi melihat perkara-perkara yang menipu dan mengucapkan tenungan-tenungan bohong; Aku akan melepaskan umat-Ku dari tanganmu
dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa
Akulah TUHAN."
14:1 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.
14:1 Sesudah itu datanglah kepadaku beberapa orang dari tua-tua Israel dan duduk di hadapanku.
14:2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
14:2 Maka datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?
14:3 "Hai anak manusia, orang-orang ini menjunjung berhala-berhala mereka dalam hatinya dan menempatkan di hadapan mereka batu sandungan, yang menjatuhkan mereka ke dalam kesalahan. Apakah Aku mau mereka meminta petunjuk dari pada-Ku?
14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that comes according to the multitude of his idols;
14:4 Oleh sebab itu berbicaralah kepada mereka dan katakan: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Setiap orang dari kaum Israel yang menjunjung berhala-berhalanya dalam hatinya dan menempatkan di hadapannya batu sandungan yang menjatuhkannya ke dalam kesalahan, lalu datang menemui nabi--Aku, TUHAN sendiri akan menjawab dia oleh karena berhala-berhalanya yang banyak itu,
14:5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all cut off from me through their idols.
14:5 supaya Aku memikat hati kaum Israel, yang seluruhnya sudah menyimpang dari pada-Ku dengan mengikuti segala berhala-berhala mereka.
14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.
14:6 Oleh karena itu katakanlah kepada kaum Israel: Beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Bertobatlah dan berpalinglah dari berhala-berhalamu dan palingkanlah mukamu dari segala perbuatan-perbuatanmu yang keji.
14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourns in Israel, which separates himself from me, and sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:
14:7 Karena setiap orang, baik dari kaum Israel maupun dari orang-orang asing yang tinggal di tengah-tengah Israel, yang menyimpang dari pada-Ku dan menjunjung berhala-berhalanya dalam hatinya dan menempatkan di hadapannya batu sandungan, yang menjatuhkannya ke dalam kesalahan, lalu datang menemui nabi untuk meminta petunjuk dari pada-Ku baginya--Aku, TUHAN sendiri akan menjawab dia.
14:8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.
14:8 Aku sendiri akan menentang orang itu dan Aku akan membuat dia menjadi lambang dan kiasan dan melenyapkannya dari tengah-tengah umat-Ku. Dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa Akulah TUHAN.
14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.
14:9 Jikalau nabi itu membiarkan dirinya tergoda dengan mengatakan suatu ucapan--Aku, TUHAN yang menggoda nabi itu--maka Aku akan mengacungkan tangan-Ku melawan dia dan memunahkannya dari tengah-tengah umat-Ku Israel.
14:10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks unto him;
14:10 Mereka akan menanggung kesalahannya sendiri, baik yang meminta petunjuk maupun nabi,
14:11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord GOD.
14:11 supaya kaum Israel jangan lagi sesat dari pada-Ku dan jangan lagi menajiskan dirinya dengan segala pelanggaran mereka; dengan demikian mereka akan menjadi umat-Ku dan Aku akan menjadi Allah mereka, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
14:12 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,
14:12 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepadaku:
14:13 Son of man, when the land sins against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:
14:13 "Hai anak manusia, kalau sesuatu negeri berdosa kepada-Ku dengan berobah setia dan Aku mengacungkan tangan-Ku melawannya dengan memusnahkan persediaan makanannya dan mendatangkan kelaparan atasnya dan melenyapkan dari negeri itu manusia dan binatang,
14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord GOD.
14:14 biarpun di tengah-tengahnya berada ketiga orang ini, yaitu Nuh, Daniel dan Ayub, mereka akan menyelamatkan hanya nyawanya sendiri karena kebenaran mereka, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH.
14:15 If I cause dangerous beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:
14:15 Atau jikalau Aku membuat binatang buas berkeliaran di negeri itu, yang memunahkan penduduknya, sehingga negeri itu menjadi sunyi sepi, dan tidak seorangpun berani melintasinya karena binatang buas itu,
14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.
14:16 dan biarpun di tengah-tengahnya berada ketiga orang tadi, demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, mereka tidak akan menyelamatkan baik anak-anak lelaki maupun anak-anak perempuan; hanya mereka sendiri akan diselamatkan, tetapi negeri itu akan menjadi sunyi sepi.
14:17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:
14:17 Atau jikalau Aku membawa pedang atas negeri itu dan Aku berfirman: Hai pedang, jelajahilah negeri itu!, dan Aku melenyapkan dari negeri itu manusia dan binatang,
14:18 Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.
14:18 dan biarpun di tengah-tengahnya berada ketiga orang tadi, demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, mereka tidak akan menyelamatkan baik anak-anak lelaki maupun anak-anak perempuan, tetapi hanya mereka sendiri akan diselamatkan.
14:19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:
14:19 Atau jikalau Aku mendatangkan sampar atas negeri itu dan Aku mencurahkan amarah-Ku atasnya sehingga darah mengalir dengan melenyapkan dari negeri itu manusia dan binatang,
14:20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.
14:20 dan biarpun Nuh, Daniel dan Ayub berada di tengah-tengahnya, demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH, mereka tidak akan menyelamatkan baik anak laki-laki maupun anak perempuan, melainkan mereka akan menyelamatkan hanya nyawanya sendiri karena kebenaran mereka.
14:21 For thus says the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the dangerous beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?
14:21 Ya, beginilah firman Tuhan ALLAH: Jauh lebih dari itu, kalau Aku mendatangkan keempat hukuman-Ku yang berat-berat, yaitu pedang, kelaparan, binatang buas dan sampar, atas Yerusalem untuk melenyapkan dari padanya manusia dan binatang!
14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and all of you shall see their way and their doings: and all of you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.
14:22 Tetapi sungguh, akan tertinggal di sana orang yang terluput, yang mengiring ke luar anak-anak lelaki dan perempuan; lihat, merekaakan datang kepadamu dan kamuakan melihat tingkah laku mereka dan kamu akan merasa terhibur tentang malapetaka yang Kudatangkan atas Yerusalem, ya tentang segala-galanya yang Kudatangkan atasnya.
14:23 And they shall comfort you, when all of you see their ways and their doings: and all of you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, says the Lord GOD.
14:23 Mereka akan menghibur kamu, kalau kamu melihat tingkah lakunya, dan kamu akan mengetahui bahwa bukan tanpa alasan Kuperbuat segala sesuatu yang Kuperbuat atas Yerusalem, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH."
