29:1 And this is the thing that you shall do unto them to hallow them, to minister unto me in the priest's office: Take one young bullock, and two rams without blemish,
29:2 また種入れぬパンと、油を混ぜた種入れぬ菓子と、油を塗った種入れぬせんべいとを取りなさい。これらは小麦粉で作らなければならない。
29:2 And unleavened bread, and cakes unleavened tempered with oil, and wafers unleavened anointed with oil: of wheaten flour shall you make them.
29:3 そしてこれを一つのかごに入れ、そのかごに入れたまま、かの一頭の雄牛および二頭の雄羊と共に携えてこなければならない。
29:3 And you shall put them into one basket, and bring them in the basket, with the bullock and the two rams.
29:4 あなたはまたアロンとその子たちを会見の幕屋の入口に連れてきて、水で彼らを洗い清め、
29:4 And Aaron and his sons you shall bring unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall wash them with water.

29:5 And you shall take the garments, and put upon Aaron the coat, and the robe of the ephod, and the ephod, and the breastplate, and gird him with the curious girdle of the ephod:

29:6 And you shall put the turban upon his head, and put the holy crown upon the turban.

29:9 And you shall gird them with girdles, Aaron and his sons, and put the bonnets on them: and the priest's office shall be theirs for a perpetual statute: and you shall consecrate Aaron and his sons.

29:10 And you shall cause a bullock to be brought before the tabernacle of the congregation: and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the bullock.

29:11 And you shall kill the bullock before the LORD, by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
29:12 その雄牛の血を取り、指をもって、これを祭壇の角につけ、その残りの血を祭壇の基に注ぎかけなさい。
29:12 And you shall take of the blood of the bullock, and put it upon the horns of the altar with your finger, and pour all the blood beside the bottom of the altar.
29:13 また、その内臓をおおうすべての脂肪と肝臓の小葉と、二つの腎臓と、その上の脂肪とを取って、これを祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。
29:13 And you shall take all the fat that covers the inwards, and the lobe that is above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and burn them upon the altar.
29:14 ただし、その雄牛の肉と皮と汚物とは、宿営の外で火で焼き捨てなければならない。これは罪祭である。
29:14 But the flesh of the bullock, and his skin, and his dung, shall you burn with fire without the camp: it is a sin offering.

29:15 You shall also take one ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

29:16 And you shall slay the ram, and you shall take his blood, and sprinkle it round about upon the altar.

29:17 And you shall cut the ram in pieces, and wash the inwards of him, and his legs, and put them unto his pieces, and unto his head.
29:18 その雄羊をみな祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。これは主にささげる燔祭である。すなわち、これは香ばしいかおりであって、主にささげる火祭である。
29:18 And you shall burn the whole ram upon the altar: it is a burnt offering unto the LORD: it is a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
29:19 あなたはまた雄羊の他の一頭を取り、アロンとその子たちは、その雄羊の頭に手を置かなければならない。
29:19 And you shall take the other ram; and Aaron and his sons shall put their hands upon the head of the ram.

29:20 Then shall you kill the ram, and take of his blood, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of Aaron, and upon the tip of the right ear of his sons, and upon the thumb of their right hand, and upon the great toe of their right foot, and sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.
29:21 また祭壇の上の血および注ぎ油を取って、アロンとその衣服、およびその子たちと、その子たちの衣服とに注がなければならない。彼とその衣服、およびその子らと、その衣服とは聖別されるであろう。
29:21 And you shall take of the blood that is upon the altar, and of the anointing oil, and sprinkle it upon Aaron, and upon his garments, and upon his sons, and upon the garments of his sons with him: and he shall be hallowed, and his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.
29:22 あなたはまた、その雄羊の脂肪、脂尾、内臓をおおう脂肪、肝臓の小葉、二つの腎臓、その上の脂肪、および右のももを取らなければならない。これは任職の雄羊である。
29:22 Also you shall take of the ram the fat and the rump, and the fat that covers the inwards, and the lobe above the liver, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is upon them, and the right shoulder; for it is a ram of consecration:
29:23 また主の前にある種入れぬパンのかごの中からパン一個と、油菓子一個と、せんべい一個とを取り、
29:23 And one loaf of bread, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer out of the basket of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD:
29:24 これをみなアロンの手と、その子たちの手に置き、これを主の前に揺り動かして、揺祭としなければならない。
29:24 And you shall put all in the hands of Aaron, and in the hands of his sons; and shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD.
29:25 そしてあなたはこれを彼らの手から受け取り、燔祭に加えて祭壇の上で焼き、主の前に香ばしいかおりとしなければならない。これは主にささげる火祭である。
29:25 And you shall receive them of their hands, and burn them upon the altar for a burnt offering, for a sweet savour before the LORD: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
29:26 あなたはまた、アロンの任職の雄羊の胸を取り、これを主の前に揺り動かして、揺祭としなければならない。これはあなたの受ける分となるであろう。
29:26 And you shall take the breast of the ram of Aaron's consecration, and wave it for a wave offering before the LORD: and it shall be your part.
29:27 あなたはアロンとその子たちの任職の雄羊の胸ともも、すなわち揺り動かした揺祭の胸と、ささげたももとを聖別しなければならない。
29:27 And you shall sanctify the breast of the wave offering, and the shoulder of the heave offering, which is waved, and which is heaved up, of the ram of the consecration, even of that which is for Aaron, and of that which is for his sons:
29:28 これはイスラエルの人々から永久に、アロンとその子たちの受くべきささげ物であって、イスラエルの人々の酬恩祭の犠牲の中から受くべきもの、すなわち主にささげるささげ物である。
29:28 And it shall be Aaron's and his sons' by a statute for ever from the children of Israel: for it is an heave offering: and it shall be an heave offering from the children of Israel of the sacrifice of their peace offerings, even their heave offering unto the LORD.
29:29 アロンの聖なる衣服は彼の後の子孫に帰すべきである。彼らはこれを着て、油注がれ、職に任ぜられなければならない。
29:29 And the holy garments of Aaron shall be his sons' after him, to be anointed therein, and to be consecrated in them.

29:30 And that son that is priest in his position shall put them on seven days, when he comes into the tabernacle of the congregation to minister in the holy place.

29:31 And you shall take the ram of the consecration, and seethe his flesh in the holy place.
29:32 アロンとその子たちは会見の幕屋の入口で、その雄羊の肉と、かごの中のパンとを食べなければならない。
29:32 And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram, and the bread that is in the basket by the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
29:33 彼らを職に任じ、聖別するため、あがないに用いたこれらのものを、彼らは食べなければならない。他の人はこれを食べてはならない。これは聖なる物だからである。
29:33 And they shall eat those things wherewith the atonement was made, to consecrate and to sanctify them: but a stranger shall not eat thereof, because they are holy.
29:34 もし任職の肉、あるいはパンのうち、朝まで残るものがあれば、その残りは火で焼かなければならない。これは聖なる物だから食べてはならない。
29:34 And if ought of the flesh of the consecrations, or of the bread, remain unto the morning, then you shall burn the remainder with fire: it shall not be eaten, because it is holy.
29:35 あなたはわたしがすべて命じるように、アロンとその子たちにしなければならない。すなわち彼らのために七日のあいだ、任職の式を行わなければならない。
29:35 And thus shall you do unto Aaron, and to his sons, according to all things which I have commanded you: seven days shall you consecrate them.
29:36 あなたは毎日、あがないのために、罪祭の雄牛一頭をささげなければならない。また祭壇のために、あがないをなす時、そのために罪祭をささげ、また、これに油を注いで聖別しなさい。
29:36 And you shall offer every day a bullock for a sin offering for atonement: and you shall cleanse the altar, when you have made an atonement for it, and you shall anoint it, to sanctify it.
29:37 あなたは七日の間、祭壇のために、あがないをして、これを聖別しなければならない。こうして祭壇は、いと聖なる物となり、すべて祭壇に触れる者は聖となるであろう。
29:37 Seven days you shall make an atonement for the altar, and sanctify it; and it shall be an altar most holy: whatsoever touches the altar shall be holy.
29:38 あなたが祭壇の上にささぐべき物は次のとおりである。すなわち当歳の小羊二頭を毎日絶やすことなくささげなければならない。
29:38 Now this is that which you shall offer upon the altar; two lambs of the first year day by day continually.
29:39 その一頭の小羊は朝にこれをささげ、他の一頭の小羊は夕にこれをささげなければならない。
29:39 The one lamb you shall offer in the morning; and the other lamb you shall offer at even:
29:40 一頭の小羊には、つぶして取った油一ヒンの四分の一をまぜた麦粉十分の一エパを添え、また灌祭として、ぶどう酒一ヒンの四分の一を添えなければならない。
29:40 And with the one lamb a tenth deal of flour mingled with the fourth part of an hin of beaten oil; and the fourth part of an hin of wine for a drink offering.
29:41 他の一頭の小羊は夕にこれをささげ、朝の素祭および灌祭と同じものをこれに添えてささげ、香ばしいかおりのために主にささげる火祭としなければならない。
29:41 And the other lamb you shall offer at even, and shall do thereto according to the food offering of the morning, and according to the drink offering thereof, for a sweet savour, an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
29:42 これはあなたがたが代々会見の幕屋の入口で、主の前に絶やすことなく、ささぐべき燔祭である。わたしはその所であなたに会い、あなたと語るであろう。
29:42 This shall be a continual burnt offering throughout your generations at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation before the LORD: where I will meet you, to speak there unto you.
29:43 また、その所でわたしはイスラエルの人々に会うであろう。幕屋はわたしの栄光によって聖別されるであろう。
29:43 And there I will meet with the children of Israel, and the tabernacle shall be sanctified by my glory.
29:44 わたしは会見の幕屋と祭壇とを聖別するであろう。またアロンとその子たちを聖別し、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせるであろう。
29:44 And I will sanctify the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar: I will sanctify also both Aaron and his sons, to minister to me in the priest's office.
29:45 わたしはイスラエルの人々のうちに住んで、彼らの神となるであろう。
29:45 And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and will be their God.
29:46 わたしが彼らのうちに住むために、彼らをエジプトの国から導き出した彼らの神、主であることを彼らは知るであろう。わたしは彼らの神、主である。
29:46 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, that brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, that I may dwell among them: I am the LORD their God.

30:1 And you shall make an altar to burn incense upon: of shittim wood shall you make it.

30:2 A cubit shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof; foursquare shall it be: and two cubits shall be the height thereof: the horns thereof shall be of the same.

30:3 And you shall overlay it with pure gold, the top thereof, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns thereof; and you shall make unto it a crown of gold round about.

30:4 And two golden rings shall you make to it under the crown of it, by the two corners thereof, upon the two sides of it shall you make it; and they shall be for places for the staves to bear it likewise.
30:5 そのさおはアカシヤ材で造り、金でおおわなければならない。
30:5 And you shall make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold.
30:6 あなたはそれを、あかしの箱の前にある垂幕の前に置いて、わたしがあなたと会うあかしの箱の上にある贖罪所に向かわせなければならない。
30:6 And you shall put it before the vail that is by the ark of the testimony, before the mercy seat that is over the testimony, where I will meet with you.

30:7 And Aaron shall burn thereon sweet incense every morning: when he dresses the lamps, he shall burn incense upon it.

30:8 And when Aaron lights the lamps at even, he shall burn incense upon it, a perpetual incense before the LORD throughout your generations.

30:9 All of you shall offer no strange incense thereon, nor burnt sacrifice, nor food offering; neither shall all of you pour drink offering thereon.
30:10 アロンは年に一度その角に血をつけてあがないをしなければならない。すなわち、あがないの罪祭の血をもって代々にわたり、年に一度これがために、あがないをしなければならない。これは主に最も聖なるものである」。
30:10 And Aaron shall make an atonement upon the horns of it once in a year with the blood of the sin offering of atonements: once in the year shall he make atonement upon it throughout your generations: it is most holy unto the LORD.
30:11 主はモーセに言われた、
30:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
30:12 「あなたがイスラエルの人々の数の総計をとるに当り、おのおのその数えられる時、その命のあがないを主にささげなければならない。これは数えられる時、彼らのうちに災の起らないためである。
30:12 When you take the sum of the children of Israel after their number, then shall they give every man a ransom for his soul unto the LORD, when you number them; that there be no plague among them, when you number them.
30:13 すべて数に入る者は聖所のシケルで、半シケルを払わなければならない。一シケルは二十ゲラであって、おのおの半シケルを主にささげ物としなければならない。
30:13 This they shall give, every one that passes among them that are numbered, half a shekel after the shekel of the sanctuary: (a shekel is twenty gerahs:) an half shekel shall be the offering of the LORD.
30:14 すべて数に入る二十歳以上の者は、主にささげ物をしなければならない。
30:14 Every one that passes among them that are numbered, from twenty years old and above, shall give an offering unto the LORD.
30:15 あなたがたの命をあがなうために、主にささげ物をする時、富める者も半シケルより多く出してはならず、貧しい者もそれより少なく出してはならない。
30:15 The rich shall not give more, and the poor shall not give less than half a shekel, when they give an offering unto the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
30:16 あなたはイスラエルの人々から、あがないの銀を取って、これを会見の幕屋の用に当てなければならない。これは主の前にイスラエルの人々のため記念となって、あなたがたの命をあがなうであろう」。
30:16 And you shall take the atonement money of the children of Israel, and shall appoint it for the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; that it may be a memorial unto the children of Israel before the LORD, to make an atonement for your souls.
30:17 主はモーセに言われた、
30:17 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
30:18 「あなたはまた洗うために洗盤と、その台を青銅で造り、それを会見の幕屋と祭壇との間に置いて、その中に水を入れ、
30:18 You shall also make a vessel that holds water of brass, and his foot also of brass, to wash likewise: and you shall put it between the tabernacle of the congregation and the altar, and you shall put water therein.
30:19 アロンとその子たちは、それで手と足とを洗わなければならない。
30:19 For Aaron and his sons shall wash their hands and their feet thereat:
30:20 彼らは会見の幕屋にはいる時、水で洗って、死なないようにしなければならない。また祭壇に近づいて、その務をなし、火祭を主にささげる時にも、そうしなければならない。
30:20 When they go into the tabernacle of the congregation, they shall wash with water, that they die not; or when they come near to the altar to minister, to burn offering made by fire unto the LORD:
30:21 すなわち、その手、その足を洗って、死なないようにしなければならない。これは彼とその子孫の代々にわたる永久の定めでなければならない」。
30:21 So they shall wash their hands and their feet, that they die not: and it shall be a statute for ever to them, even to him and to his seed throughout their generations.
30:22 主はまたモーセに言われた、
30:22 Moreover the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
30:23 「あなたはまた最も良い香料を取りなさい。すなわち液体の没薬五百シケル、香ばしい肉桂をその半ば、すなわち二百五十シケル、におい菖蒲二百五十シケル、
30:23 Take you also unto you principal spices, of pure myrrh five hundred shekels, and of sweet cinnamon half so much, even two hundred and fifty shekels, and of sweet calamus two hundred and fifty shekels,
30:24 桂枝五百シケルを聖所のシケルで取り、また、オリブの油一ヒンを取りなさい。
30:24 And of cassia five hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, and of oil olive an hin:
30:25 あなたはこれを聖なる注ぎ油、すなわち香油を造るわざにしたがい、まぜ合わせて、におい油に造らなければならない。これは聖なる注ぎ油である。
30:25 And you shall make it an oil of holy ointment, an ointment compound after the are of the apothecary: it shall be an holy anointing oil.
30:26 あなたはこの油を会見の幕屋と、あかしの箱とに注ぎ、
30:26 And you shall anoint the tabernacle of the congregation therewith, and the ark of the testimony,
30:27 机と、そのもろもろの器、燭台と、そのもろもろの器、香の祭壇、
30:27 And the table and all his vessels, and the candlestick and his vessels, and the altar of incense,
30:28 燔祭の祭壇と、そのもろもろの器、洗盤と、その台とに油を注ぎ、
30:28 And the altar of burnt offering with all his vessels, and the vessel that holds water and his foot.
30:29 これらをきよめて最も聖なる物としなければならない。すべてこれに触れる者は聖となるであろう。
30:29 And you shall sanctify them, that they may be most holy: whatsoever touches them shall be holy.
30:30 あなたはアロンとその子たちに油を注いで、彼らを聖別し、祭司としてわたしに仕えさせなければならない。
30:30 And you shall anoint Aaron and his sons, and consecrate them, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office.
30:31 そしてあなたはイスラエルの人々に言わなければならない、『これはあなたがたの代々にわたる、わたしの聖なる注ぎ油であって、
30:31 And you shall speak unto the children of Israel, saying, This shall be an holy anointing oil unto me throughout your generations.

30:32 Upon man's flesh shall it not be poured, neither shall all of you make any other like it, after the composition of it: it is holy, and it shall be holy unto you.
30:33 すべてこれと等しい物を造る者、あるいはこれを祭司以外の人につける者は、民のうちから断たれるであろう』」。
30:33 Whosoever compounds any like it, or whosoever puts any of it upon a stranger, shall even be cut off from his people.
30:34 主はまた、モーセに言われた、「あなたは香料、すなわち蘇合香、シケレテ香、楓子香、純粋の乳香の香料を取りなさい。おのおの同じ量でなければならない。
30:34 And the LORD said unto Moses, Take unto you sweet spices, stacte, and onycha, and galbanum; these sweet spices with pure frankincense: of each shall there be a like weight:
30:35 あなたはこれをもって香、すなわち香料をつくるわざにしたがって薫香を造り、塩を加え、純にして聖なる物としなさい。
30:35 And you shall make it a perfume, a confection after the are of the apothecary, tempered together, pure and holy:
30:36 また、その幾ぶんを細かに砕き、わたしがあなたと会う会見の幕屋にある、あかしの箱の前にこれを供えなければならない。これはあなたがたに最も聖なるものである。
30:36 And you shall beat some of it very small, and put of it before the testimony in the tabernacle of the congregation, where I will meet with you: it shall be unto you most holy.
30:37 あなたが造る香の同じ割合をもって、それを自分のために造ってはならない。これはあなたにとって主に聖なるものでなければならない。
30:37 And as for the perfume which you shall make, all of you shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto you holy for the LORD.
30:38 すべてこれと等しいものを造って、これをかぐ者は民のうちから断たれるであろう」。
30:38 Whosoever shall make like unto that, to smell thereto, shall even be cut off from his people.
31:1 主はモーセに言われた、
31:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
31:2 「見よ、わたしはユダの部族に属するホルの子なるウリの子ベザレルを名ざして召し、
31:2 See, I have called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah:
31:3 これに神の霊を満たして、知恵と悟りと知識と諸種の工作に長ぜしめ、
31:3 And I have filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, and in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship,
31:4 工夫を凝らして金、銀、青銅の細工をさせ、
31:4 To devise cunning works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
31:5 また宝石を切りはめ、木を彫刻するなど、諸種の工作をさせるであろう。
31:5 And in cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of timber, to work in all manner of workmanship.
31:6 見よ、わたしはまたダンの部族に属するアヒサマクの子アホリアブを彼と共ならせ、そしてすべて賢い者の心に知恵を授け、わたしがあなたに命じたものを、ことごとく彼らに造らせるであろう。
31:6 And I, behold, I have given with him Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan: and in the hearts of all that are wise hearted I have put wisdom, that they may make all that I have commanded you;
31:7 すなわち会見の幕屋、あかしの箱、その上にある贖罪所、幕屋のもろもろの器、
31:7 The tabernacle of the congregation, and the ark of the testimony, and the mercy seat that is thereupon, and all the furniture of the tabernacle,
31:8 机とその器、純金の燭台と、そのもろもろの器、香の祭壇、
31:8 And the table and his furniture, and the pure candlestick with all his furniture, and the altar of incense,
31:9 燔祭の祭壇とそのもろもろの器、洗盤とその台、
31:9 And the altar of burnt offering with all his furniture, and the vessel that holds water and his foot,

31:10 And the cloths of service, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office,

31:11 And the anointing oil, and sweet incense for the holy place: according to all that I have commanded you shall they do.
31:12 主はまたモーセに言われた、
31:12 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
31:13 「あなたはイスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『あなたがたは必ずわたしの安息日を守らなければならない。これはわたしとあなたがたとの間の、代々にわたるしるしであって、わたしがあなたがたを聖別する主であることを、知らせるためのものである。
31:13 Speak you also unto the children of Israel, saying, Verily my sabbaths all of you shall keep: for it is a sign between me and you throughout your generations; that all of you may know that I am the LORD that does sanctify you.
31:14 それゆえ、あなたがたは安息日を守らなければならない。これはあなたがたに聖なる日である。すべてこれを汚す者は必ず殺され、すべてこの日に仕事をする者は、民のうちから断たれるであろう。
31:14 All of you shall keep the sabbath therefore; for it is holy unto you: every one that defiles it shall surely be put to death: for whosoever does any work therein, that soul shall be cut off from among his people.
31:15 六日のあいだは仕事をしなさい。七日目は全き休みの安息日で、主のために聖である。すべて安息日に仕事をする者は必ず殺されるであろう。
31:15 Six days may work be done; but in the seventh is the sabbath of rest, holy to the LORD: whosoever does any work in the sabbath day, he shall surely be put to death.
31:16 ゆえに、イスラエルの人々は安息日を覚え、永遠の契約として、代々安息日を守らなければならない。
31:16 Wherefore the children of Israel shall keep the sabbath, to observe the sabbath throughout their generations, for a perpetual covenant.
31:17 これは永遠にわたしとイスラエルの人々との間のしるしである。それは主が六日のあいだに天地を造り、七日目に休み、かつ、いこわれたからである』」。
31:17 It is a sign between me and the children of Israel for ever: for in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, and on the seventh day he rested, and was refreshed.
31:18 主はシナイ山でモーセに語り終えられたとき、あかしの板二枚、すなわち神が指をもって書かれた石の板をモーセに授けられた。
31:18 And he gave unto Moses, when he had made an end of communing with him upon mount Sinai, two tables of testimony, tables of stone, written with the finger of God.
32:1 民はモーセが山を下ることのおそいのを見て、アロンのもとに集まって彼に言った、「さあ、わたしたちに先立って行く神を、わたしたちのために造ってください。わたしたちをエジプトの国から導きのぼった人、あのモーセはどうなったのかわからないからです」。
32:1 And when the people saw that Moses delayed to come down out of the mount, the people gathered themselves together unto Aaron, and said unto him, Up, make us gods, which shall go before us; for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
32:2 アロンは彼らに言った、「あなたがたの妻、むすこ、娘らの金の耳輪をはずしてわたしに持ってきなさい」。
32:2 And Aaron said unto them, Break off the golden earrings, which are in the ears of your wives, of your sons, and of your daughters, and bring them unto me.

32:3 And all the people brake off the golden earrings which were in their ears, and brought them unto Aaron.
32:4 アロンがこれを彼らの手から受け取り、工具で型を造り、鋳て子牛としたので、彼らは言った、「イスラエルよ、これはあなたをエジプトの国から導きのぼったあなたの神である」。
32:4 And he received them at their hand, and fashioned it with a graving tool, after he had made it a molten calf: and they said, These be your gods, O Israel, which brought you up out of the land of Egypt.

32:5 And when Aaron saw it, he built an altar before it; and Aaron made proclamation, and said, Tomorrow is a feast to the LORD.

32:6 And they rose up early on the next day, and offered burnt offerings, and brought peace offerings; and the people sat down to eat and to drink, and rose up to play.
32:7 主はモーセに言われた、「急いで下りなさい。あなたがエジプトの国から導きのぼったあなたの民は悪いことをした。
32:7 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go, get you down; for your people, which you brought out of the land of Egypt, have corrupted themselves:
32:8 彼らは早くもわたしが命じた道を離れ、自分のために鋳物の子牛を造り、これを拝み、これに犠牲をささげて、『イスラエルよ、これはあなたをエジプトの国から導きのぼったあなたの神である』と言っている」。
32:8 They have turned aside quickly out of the way which I commanded them: they have made them a molten calf, and have worshipped it, and have sacrificed thereunto, and said, These be your gods, O Israel, which have brought you up out of the land of Egypt.
32:9 主はまたモーセに言われた、「わたしはこの民を見た。これはかたくなな民である。
32:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, I have seen this people, and, behold, it is a stubborn people:
32:10 それで、わたしをとめるな。わたしの怒りは彼らにむかって燃え、彼らを滅ぼしつくすであろう。しかし、わたしはあなたを大いなる国民とするであろう」。
32:10 Now therefore let me alone, that my wrath may wax hot against them, and that I may consume them: and I will make of you a great nation.
32:11 モーセはその神、主をなだめて言った、「主よ、大いなる力と強き手をもって、エジプトの国から導き出されたあなたの民にむかって、なぜあなたの怒りが燃えるのでしょうか。
32:11 And Moses besought the LORD his God, and said, LORD, why does your wrath wax hot against your people, which you have brought forth out of the land of Egypt with great power, and with a mighty hand?
32:12 どうしてエジプトびとに『彼は悪意をもって彼らを導き出し、彼らを山地で殺し、地の面から断ち滅ぼすのだ』と言わせてよいでしょうか。どうかあなたの激しい怒りをやめ、あなたの民に下そうとされるこの災を思い直し、
32:12 Wherefore should the Egyptians speak, and say, For mischief did he bring them out, to slay them in the mountains, and to consume them from the face of the earth? Turn from your fierce wrath, and repent of this evil against your people.
32:13 あなたのしもべアブラハム、イサク、イスラエルに、あなたが御自身をさして誓い、『わたしは天の星のように、あなたがたの子孫を増し、わたしが約束したこの地を皆あなたがたの子孫に与えて、長くこれを所有させるであろう』と彼らに仰せられたことを覚えてください」。
32:13 Remember Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, your servants, to whom you sware by yours own self, and said unto them, I will multiply your seed as the stars of heaven, and all this land that I have spoken of will I give unto your seed, and they shall inherit it for ever.
32:14 それで、主はその民に下すと言われた災について思い直された。
32:14 And the LORD repented of the evil which he thought to do unto his people.
32:15 モーセは身を転じて山を下った。彼の手には、かの二枚のあかしの板があった。板はその両面に文字があった。すなわち、この面にも、かの面にも文字があった。
32:15 And Moses turned, and went down from the mount, and the two tables of the testimony were in his hand: the tables were written on both their sides; on the one side and on the other were they written.
32:16 その板は神の作、その文字は神の文字であって、板に彫ったものである。
32:16 And the tables were the work of God, and the writing was the writing of God, graven upon the tables.
32:17 ヨシュアは民の呼ばわる声を聞いて、モーセに言った、「宿営の中に戦いの声がします」。
32:17 And when Joshua heard the noise of the people as they shouted, he said unto Moses, There is a noise of war in the camp.
32:18 しかし、モーセは言った、「勝どきの声でなく、敗北の叫び声でもない。わたしの聞くのは歌の声である」。
32:18 And he said, It is not the voice of them that shout for mastery, neither is it the voice of them that cry for being overcome: but the noise of them that sing do I hear.
32:19 モーセが宿営に近づくと、子牛と踊りとを見たので、彼は怒りに燃え、手からかの板を投げうち、これを山のふもとで砕いた。
32:19 And it came to pass, as soon as he came nigh unto the camp, that he saw the calf, and the dancing: and Moses' anger waxed hot, and he cast the tables out of his hands, and brake them beneath the mount.
32:20 また彼らが造った子牛を取って火に焼き、こなごなに砕き、これを水の上にまいて、イスラエルの人々に飲ませた。
32:20 And he took the calf which they had made, and burnt it in the fire, and ground it to powder, and scattered it upon the water, and made the children of Israel drink of it.
32:21 モーセはアロンに言った、「この民があなたに何をしたので、あなたは彼らに大いなる罪を犯させたのですか」。
32:21 And Moses said unto Aaron, What did this people unto you, that you have brought so great a sin upon them?
32:22 アロンは言った、「わが主よ、激しく怒らないでください。この民の悪いのは、あなたがごぞんじです。
32:22 And Aaron said, Let not the anger of my lord wax hot: you know the people, that they are set on mischief.
32:23 彼らはわたしに言いました、『わたしたちに先立って行く神を、わたしたちのために造ってください。わたしたちをエジプトの国から導きのぼった人、あのモーセは、どうなったのかわからないからです』。
32:23 For they said unto me, Make us gods, which shall go before us: for as for this Moses, the man that brought us up out of the land of Egypt, we know not what is become of him.
32:24 そこでわたしは『だれでも、金を持っている者は、それを取りはずしなさい』と彼らに言いました。彼らがそれをわたしに渡したので、わたしがこれを火に投げ入れると、この子牛が出てきたのです」。
32:24 And I said unto them, Whosoever has any gold, let them break it off. So they gave it me: then I cast it into the fire, and there came out this calf.
32:25 モーセは民がほしいままにふるまったのを見た。アロンは彼らがほしいままにふるまうに任せ、敵の中に物笑いとなったからである。
32:25 And when Moses saw that the people were naked; (for Aaron had made them naked unto their shame among their enemies:)
32:26 モーセは宿営の門に立って言った、「すべて主につく者はわたしのもとにきなさい」。レビの子たちはみな彼のもとに集まった。
32:26 Then Moses stood in the gate of the camp, and said, Who is on the LORD's side? let him come unto me. And all the sons of Levi gathered themselves together unto him.
32:27 そこでモーセは彼らに言った、「イスラエルの神、主はこう言われる、『あなたがたは、おのおの腰につるぎを帯び、宿営の中を門から門へ行き巡って、おのおのその兄弟、その友、その隣人を殺せ』」。
32:27 And he said unto them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.
32:28 レビの子たちはモーセの言葉どおりにしたので、その日、民のうち、おおよそ三千人が倒れた。
32:28 And the children of Levi did according to the word of Moses: and there fell of the people that day about three thousand men.
32:29 そこで、モーセは言った、「あなたがたは、おのおのその子、その兄弟に逆らって、きょう、主に身をささげた。それで主は、きょう、あなたがたに祝福を与えられるであろう」。
32:29 For Moses had said, Consecrate yourselves today to the LORD, even every man upon his son, and upon his brother; that he may bestow upon you a blessing this day.
32:30 あくる日、モーセは民に言った、「あなたがたは大いなる罪を犯した。それで今、わたしは主のもとに上って行く。あなたがたの罪を償うことが、できるかも知れない」。
32:30 And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses said unto the people, All of you have sinned a great sin: and now I will go up unto the LORD; possibly I shall make an atonement for your sin.
32:31 モーセは主のもとに帰って、そして言った、「ああ、この民は大いなる罪を犯し、自分のために金の神を造りました。
32:31 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, Oh, this people have sinned a great sin, and have made them gods of gold.
32:32 今もしあなたが、彼らの罪をゆるされますならば――。しかし、もしかなわなければ、どうぞあなたが書きしるされたふみから、わたしの名を消し去ってください」。
32:32 Yet now, if you will forgive their sin--; and if not, blot me, I pray you, out of your book which you have written.
32:33 主はモーセに言われた、「すべてわたしに罪を犯した者は、これをわたしのふみから消し去るであろう。
32:33 And the LORD said unto Moses, Whosoever has sinned against me, him will I blot out of my book.
32:34 しかし、今あなたは行って、わたしがあなたに告げたところに民を導きなさい。見よ、わたしの使はあなたに先立って行くであろう。ただし刑罰の日に、わたしは彼らの罪を罰するであろう」。
32:34 Therefore now go, lead the people unto the place of which I have spoken unto you: behold, mine Angel shall go before you: nevertheless in the day when I visit I will visit their sin upon them.
32:35 そして主は民を撃たれた。彼らが子牛を造ったからである。それはアロンが造ったのである。
32:35 And the LORD plagued the people, because they made the calf, which Aaron made.
33:1 さて、主はモーセに言われた、「あなたと、あなたがエジプトの国から導きのぼった民とは、ここを立ってわたしがアブラハム、イサク、ヤコブに誓って、『これをあなたの子孫に与える』と言った地にのぼりなさい。
33:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Depart, and go up behind, you and the people which you have brought up out of the land of Egypt, unto the land which I swore unto Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, Unto your seed will I give it:
33:2 わたしはひとりの使をつかわしてあなたに先立たせ、カナンびと、アモリびと、ヘテびと、ペリジびと、ヒビびと、エブスびとを追い払うであろう。
33:2 And I will send an angel before you; and I will drive out the Canaanite, the Amorite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, the Hivite, and the Jebusite:
33:3 あなたがたは乳と蜜の流れる地にのぼりなさい。しかし、あなたがたは、かたくなな民であるから、わたしが道であなたがたを滅ぼすことのないように、あなたがたのうちにあって一緒にはのぼらないであろう」。
33:3 Unto a land flowing with milk and honey: for I will not go up in the midst of you; for you are a stubborn people: lest I consume you in the way.
33:4 民はこの悪い知らせを聞いて憂い、ひとりもその飾りを身に着ける者はなかった。
33:4 And when the people heard these evil tidings, they mourned: and no man did put on him his ornaments.
33:5 主はモーセに言われた、「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『あなたがたは、かたくなな民である。もしわたしが一刻でも、あなたがたのうちにあって、一緒にのぼって行くならば、あなたがたを滅ぼすであろう。ゆえに、今、あなたがたの飾りを身から取り去りなさい。そうすればわたしはあなたがたになすべきことを知るであろう』。
33:5 For the LORD had said unto Moses, Say unto the children of Israel, All of you are a stubborn people: I will come up into the midst of you in a moment, and consume you: therefore now put off your ornaments from you, that I may know what to do unto you.
33:6 それで、イスラエルの人々はホレブ山以来その飾りを取り除いていた。
33:6 And the children of Israel stripped themselves of their ornaments by the mount Horeb.
33:7 モーセは幕屋を取って、これを宿営の外に、宿営を離れて張り、これを会見の幕屋と名づけた。すべて主に伺い事のある者は出て、宿営の外にある会見の幕屋に行った。
33:7 And Moses took the tabernacle, and pitched it without the camp, far off from the camp, and called it the Tabernacle of the congregation. And it came to pass, that every one which sought the LORD went out unto the tabernacle of the congregation, which was without the camp.
33:8 モーセが出て、幕屋に行く時には、民はみな立ちあがり、モーセが幕屋にはいるまで、おのおのその天幕の入口に立って彼を見送った。
33:8 And it came to pass, when Moses went out unto the tabernacle, that all the people rose up, and stood every man at his tent door, and looked after Moses, until he was gone into the tabernacle.
33:9 モーセが幕屋にはいると、雲の柱が下って幕屋の入口に立った。そして主はモーセと語られた。
33:9 And it came to pass, as Moses entered into the tabernacle, the cloudy pillar descended, and stood at the door of the tabernacle, and the Lord talked with Moses.
33:10 民はみな幕屋の入口に雲の柱が立つのを見ると、立っておのおの自分の天幕の入口で礼拝した。
33:10 And all the people saw the cloudy pillar stand at the tabernacle door: and all the people rose up and worshipped, every man in his tent door.
33:11 人がその友と語るように、主はモーセと顔を合わせて語られた。こうしてモーセは宿営に帰ったが、その従者なる若者、ヌンの子ヨシュアは幕屋を離れなかった。
33:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses face to face, as a man speaks unto his friend. And he turned again into the camp: but his servant Joshua, the son of Nun, a young man, departed not out of the tabernacle.
33:12 モーセは主に言った、「ごらんください。あなたは『この民を導きのぼれ』とわたしに言いながら、わたしと一緒につかわされる者を知らせてくださいません。しかも、あなたはかつて『わたしはお前を選んだ。お前はまたわたしの前に恵みを得た』と仰せになりました。
33:12 And Moses said unto the LORD, See, you says unto me, Bring up this people: and you have not let me know whom you will send with me. Yet you have said, I know you by name, and you have also found grace in my sight.
33:13 それで今、わたしがもし、あなたの前に恵みを得ますならば、どうか、あなたの道を示し、あなたをわたしに知らせ、あなたの前に恵みを得させてください。また、この国民があなたの民であることを覚えてください」。
33:13 Now therefore, I pray you, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you, that I may find grace in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people.
33:14 主は言われた「わたし自身が一緒に行くであろう。そしてあなたに安息を与えるであろう」。
33:14 And he said, My presence shall go with you, and I will give you rest.
33:15 モーセは主に言った「もしあなた自身が一緒に行かれないならば、わたしたちをここからのぼらせないでください。
33:15 And he said unto him, If your presence go not with me, carry us not up behind.
33:16 わたしとあなたの民とが、あなたの前に恵みを得ることは、何によって知られましょうか。それはあなたがわたしたちと一緒に行かれて、わたしとあなたの民とが、地の面にある諸民と異なるものになるからではありませんか」。
33:16 For wherein shall it be known here that I and your people have found grace in your sight? is it not in that you go with us? so shall we be separated, I and your people, from all the people that are upon the face of the earth.
33:17 主はモーセに言われた、「あなたはわたしの前に恵みを得、またわたしは名をもってあなたを知るから、あなたの言ったこの事をもするであろう」。
33:17 And the LORD said unto Moses, I will do this thing also that you have spoken: for you have found grace in my sight, and I know you by name.
33:18 モーセは言った、「どうぞ、あなたの栄光をわたしにお示しください」。
33:18 And he said, I plead to you, show me your glory.
33:19 主は言われた、「わたしはわたしのもろもろの善をあなたの前に通らせ、主の名をあなたの前にのべるであろう。わたしは恵もうとする者を恵み、あわれもうとする者をあわれむ」。
33:19 And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the name of the LORD before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy.
33:20 また言われた、「しかし、あなたはわたしの顔を見ることはできない。わたしを見て、なお生きている人はないからである」。
33:20 And he said, You can not see my face: for there shall no man see me, and live.
33:21 そして主は言われた、「見よ、わたしのかたわらに一つの所がある。あなたは岩の上に立ちなさい。
33:21 And the LORD said, Behold, there is a place by me, and you shall stand upon a rock:
33:22 わたしの栄光がそこを通り過ぎるとき、わたしはあなたを岩の裂け目に入れて、わたしが通り過ぎるまで、手であなたをおおうであろう。
33:22 And it shall come to pass, while my glory passes by, that I will put you in a cleft of the rock, and will cover you with my hand while I pass by:
33:23 そしてわたしが手をのけるとき、あなたはわたしのうしろを見るが、わたしの顔は見ないであろう」。
33:23 And I will take away mine hand, and you shall see my back parts: but my face shall not be seen.
34:1 主はモーセに言われた、「あなたは前のような石の板二枚を、切って造りなさい。わたしはあなたが砕いた初めの板にあった言葉を、その板に書くであろう。
34:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew you two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which you brake.
34:2 あなたは朝までに備えをし、朝のうちにシナイ山に登って、山の頂でわたしの前に立ちなさい。
34:2 And be ready in the morning, and come up in the morning unto mount Sinai, and present yourself there to me in the top of the mount.
34:3 だれもあなたと共に登ってはならない。また、だれも山の中にいてはならない。また山の前で羊や牛を飼っていてはならない」。
34:3 And no man shall come up with you, neither let any man be seen throughout all the mount; neither let the flocks nor herds feed before that mount.
34:4 そこでモーセは前のような石の板二枚を、切って造り、朝早く起きて、主が彼に命じられたようにシナイ山に登った。彼はその手に石の板二枚をとった。
34:4 And he hewed two tables of stone like unto the first; and Moses rose up early in the morning, and went up unto mount Sinai, as the LORD had commanded him, and took in his hand the two tables of stone.
34:5 ときに主は雲の中にあって下り、彼と共にそこに立って主の名を宣べられた。
34:5 And the LORD descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of the LORD.
34:6 主は彼の前を過ぎて宣べられた。「主、主、あわれみあり、恵みあり、怒ることおそく、いつくしみと、まこととの豊かなる神、
34:6 And the LORD passed by before him, and proclaimed, The LORD, The LORD God, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth,
34:7 いつくしみを千代までも施し、悪と、とがと、罪とをゆるす者、しかし、罰すべき者をば決してゆるさず、父の罪を子に報い、子の子に報いて、三、四代におよぼす者」。
34:7 Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.
34:8 モーセは急ぎ地に伏して拝し、
34:8 And Moses made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped.
34:9 そして言った、「ああ主よ、わたしがもし、あなたの前に恵みを得ますならば、かたくなな民ですけれども、どうか主がわたしたちのうちにあって一緒に行ってください。そしてわたしたちの悪と罪とをゆるし、わたしたちをあなたのものとしてください」。
34:9 And he said, If now I have found grace in your sight, O LORD, let my LORD, I pray you, go among us; for it is a stubborn people; and pardon our iniquity and our sin, and take us for yours inheritance.
34:10 主は言われた、「見よ、わたしは契約を結ぶ。わたしは地のいずこにも、いかなる民のうちにも、いまだ行われたことのない不思議を、あなたのすべての民の前に行うであろう。あなたが共に住む民はみな、主のわざを見るであろう。わたしがあなたのためになそうとすることは、恐るべきものだからである。
34:10 And he said, Behold, I make a covenant: before all your people I will do marvels, such as have not been done in all the earth, nor in any nation: and all the people among which you are shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with you.
34:11 わたしが、きょう、あなたに命じることを守りなさい。見よ、わたしはアモリびと、カナンびと、ヘテびと、ペリジびと、ヒビびと、エブスびとを、あなたの前から追い払うであろう。
34:11 Observe you that which I command you this day: behold, I drive out before you the Amorite, and the Canaanite, and the Hittite, and the Perizzite, and the Hivite, and the Jebusite.
34:12 あなたが行く国に住んでいる者と、契約を結ばないように、気をつけなければならない。おそらく彼らはあなたのうちにあって、わなとなるであろう。
34:12 Take heed to yourself, lest you make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you go, lest it be for a snare in the midst of you:

34:13 But all of you shall destroy their altars, break their images, and cut down their groves:

34:14 For you shall worship no other god: for the LORD, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God:

34:16 またその娘たちを、あなたのむすこたちにめとり、その娘たちが自分たちの神々を慕って姦淫を行い、また、あなたのむすこたちをして、彼らの神々を慕わせ、姦淫を行わせるに至るであろう。
34:16 And you take of their daughters unto your sons, and their daughters go a whoring after their gods, and make your sons go a whoring after their gods.
34:17 あなたは自分のために鋳物の神々を造ってはならない。
34:17 You shall make you no molten gods.
34:18 あなたは種入れぬパンの祭を守らなければならない。すなわち、わたしがあなたに命じたように、アビブの月の定めの時に、七日のあいだ、種入れぬパンを食べなければならない。あなたがアビブの月にエジプトを出たからである。
34:18 The feast of unleavened bread shall you keep. Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, as I commanded you, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib you came out from Egypt.
34:19 すべて初めに生れる者は、わたしのものである。すべてあなたの家畜のういごの雄は、牛も羊もそうである。
34:19 All that opens the womb is mine; and every first born among your cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male.
34:20 ただし、ろばのういごは小羊であがなわなければならない。もしあがなわないならば、その首を折らなければならない。あなたのむすこのうちのういごは、みなあがなわなければならない。むなし手でわたしの前に出てはならない。
34:20 But the first born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb: and if you redeem him not, then shall you break his neck. All the firstborn of your sons you shall redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.
34:21 あなたは六日のあいだ働き、七日目には休まなければならない。耕し時にも、刈入れ時にも休まなければならない。
34:21 Six days you shall work, but on the seventh day you shall rest: in earring time and in harvest you shall rest.
34:22 あなたは七週の祭、すなわち小麦刈りの初穂の祭を行わなければならない。また年の終りに取り入れの祭を行わなければならない。
34:22 And you shall observe the feast of weeks, of the first-fruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.
34:23 年に三度、男子はみな主なる神、イスラエルの神の前に出なければならない。
34:23 Three times in the year shall all your male children appear before the LORD God, the God of Israel.
34:24 わたしは国々の民をあなたの前から追い払って、あなたの境を広くするであろう。あなたが年に三度のぼって、あなたの神、主の前に出る時には、だれもあなたの国を侵すことはないであろう。
34:24 For I will cast out the nations before you, and enlarge your borders: neither shall any man desire your land, when you shall go up to appear before the LORD your God three times in the year.
34:25 あなたは犠牲の血を、種を入れたパンと共に供えてはならない。また過越の祭の犠牲を、翌朝まで残して置いてはならない。
34:25 You shall not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.
34:26 あなたの土地の初穂の最も良いものを、あなたの神、主の家に携えてこなければならない。あなたは子やぎをその母の乳で煮てはならない」。
34:26 The first of the first-fruits of your land you shall bring unto the house of the LORD your God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
34:27 また主はモーセに言われた、「これらの言葉を書きしるしなさい。わたしはこれらの言葉に基いて、あなたおよびイスラエルと契約を結んだからである」。
34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write you these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with you and with Israel.
34:28 モーセは主と共に、四十日四十夜、そこにいたが、パンも食べず、水も飲まなかった。そして彼は契約の言葉、十誡を板の上に書いた。
34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.
34:29 モーセはそのあかしの板二枚を手にして、シナイ山から下ったが、その山を下ったとき、モーセは、さきに主と語ったゆえに、顔の皮が光を放っているのを知らなかった。
34:29 And it came to pass, when Moses came down from mount Sinai with the two tables of testimony in Moses' hand, when he came down from the mount, that Moses know not that the skin of his face shone while he talked with him.
34:30 アロンとイスラエルの人々とがみな、モーセを見ると、彼の顔の皮が光を放っていたので、彼らは恐れてこれに近づかなかった。
34:30 And when Aaron and all the children of Israel saw Moses, behold, the skin of his face shone; and they were afraid to come nigh him.
34:31 モーセは彼らを呼んだ。アロンと会衆のかしらたちとがみな、モーセのもとに帰ってきたので、モーセは彼らと語った。
34:31 And Moses called unto them; and Aaron and all the rulers of the congregation returned unto him: and Moses talked with them.
34:32 その後、イスラエルの人々がみな近よったので、モーセは主がシナイ山で彼に語られたことを、ことごとく彼らにさとした。
34:32 And afterward all the children of Israel came nigh: and he gave them in commandment all that the LORD had spoken with him in mount Sinai.
34:33 モーセは彼らと語り終えた時、顔おおいを顔に当てた。
34:33 And till Moses had done speaking with them, he put a vail on his face.
34:34 しかしモーセは主の前に行って主と語る時は、出るまで顔おおいを取り除いていた。そして出て来ると、その命じられた事をイスラエルの人人に告げた。
34:34 But when Moses went in before the LORD to speak with him, he took the vail off, until he came out. And he came out, and spoke unto the children of Israel that which he was commanded.
34:35 イスラエルの人々はモーセの顔を見ると、モーセの顔の皮が光を放っていた。モーセは行って主と語るまで、また顔おおいを顔に当てた。
34:35 And the children of Israel saw the face of Moses, that the skin of Moses' face shone: and Moses put the vail upon his face again, until he went in to speak with him.
35:1 モーセはイスラエルの人々の全会衆を集めて言った、「これは主が行えと命じられた言葉である。
35:1 And Moses gathered all the congregation of the children of Israel together, and said unto them, These are the words which the LORD has commanded, that all of you should do them.
35:2 六日の間は仕事をしなさい。七日目はあなたがたの聖日で、主の全き休みの安息日であるから、この日に仕事をする者はだれでも殺されなければならない。
35:2 Six days shall work be done, but on the seventh day there shall be to you an holy day, a sabbath of rest to the LORD: whosoever does work therein shall be put to death.
35:3 安息日にはあなたがたのすまいのどこでも火をたいてはならない」。
35:3 All of you shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.
35:4 モーセはイスラエルの人々の全会衆に言った、「これは主が命じられたことである。
35:4 And Moses spoke unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD commanded, saying,
35:5 あなたがたの持ち物のうちから、主にささげる物を取りなさい。すべて、心から喜んでする者は、主にささげる物を持ってきなさい。すなわち金、銀、青銅。
35:5 Take all of you from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,
35:6 青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸、やぎの毛糸。
35:6 And blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair,
35:7 あかね染めの雄羊の皮、じゅごんの皮、アカシヤ材、
35:7 And rams' skins dyed red, and badgers' skins, and shittim wood,
35:8 ともし油、注ぎ油と香ばしい薫香とのための香料、
35:8 And oil for the light, and spices for anointing oil, and for the sweet incense,
35:9 縞めのう、エポデと胸当とにはめる宝石。
35:9 And onyx stones, and stones to be set for the ephod, and for the breastplate.
35:10 すべてあなたがたのうち、心に知恵ある者はきて、主の命じられたものをみな造りなさい。
35:10 And every wise hearted among you shall come, and make all that the LORD has commanded;
35:11 すなわち幕屋、その天幕と、そのおおい、その鉤と、その枠、その横木、その柱と、その座、
35:11 The tabernacle, his tent, and his covering, his clasps, and his boards, his bars, his pillars, and his sockets,
35:12 箱と、そのさお、贖罪所、隔ての垂幕、
35:12 The ark, and the staves thereof, with the mercy seat, and the vail of the covering,
35:13 机と、そのさお、およびそのもろもろの器、供えのパン、
35:13 The table, and his staves, and all his vessels, and the showbread,
35:14 また、ともしびのための燭台と、その器、ともしび皿と、ともし油、
35:14 The candlestick also for the light, and his furniture, and his lamps, with the oil for the light,
35:15 香の祭壇と、そのさお、注ぎ油、香ばしい薫香、幕屋の入口のとばり、
35:15 And the incense altar, and his staves, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the door at the entering in of the tabernacle,
35:16 燔祭の祭壇およびその青銅の網、そのさおと、そのもろもろの器、洗盤と、その台、
35:16 The altar of burnt offering, with his brazen grate, his staves, and all his vessels, the vessel that holds water and his foot,
35:17 庭のあげばり、その柱とその座、庭の門のとばり、
35:17 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and their sockets, and the hanging for the door of the court,
35:18 幕屋の釘、庭の釘およびそのひも、
35:18 The pins of the tabernacle, and the pins of the court, and their cords,
35:19 聖所における務のための編物の服、すなわち祭司の務をなすための祭司アロンの聖なる服およびその子たちの服」。
35:19 The cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and the garments of his sons, to minister in the priest's office.
35:20 イスラエルの人々の全会衆はモーセの前を去り、
35:20 And all the congregation of the children of Israel departed from the presence of Moses.
35:21 すべて心に感じた者、すべて心から喜んでする者は、会見の幕屋の作業と、そのもろもろの奉仕と、聖なる服とのために、主にささげる物を携えてきた。
35:21 And they came, every one whose heart stirred him up, and every one whom his spirit made willing, and they brought the LORD's offering to the work of the tabernacle of the congregation, and for all his service, and for the holy garments.
35:22 すなわち、すべて心から喜んでする男女は、鼻輪、耳輪、指輪、首飾り、およびすべての金の飾りを携えてきた。すべて金のささげ物を主にささげる者はそのようにした。
35:22 And they came, both men and women, as many as were willing hearted, and brought bracelets, and earrings, and rings, and tablets, all jewels of gold: and every man that offered offered an offering of gold unto the LORD.
35:23 すべて青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸、やぎの毛糸、あかね染めの雄羊の皮、じゅごんの皮を持っている者は、それを携えてきた。
35:23 And every man, with whom was found blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine linen, and goats' hair, and red skins of rams, and badgers' skins, brought them.
35:24 すべて銀、青銅のささげ物をささげることのできる者は、それを主にささげる物として携えてきた。また、すべて組立ての工事に用いるアカシヤ材を持っている者は、それを携えてきた。
35:24 Every one that did offer an offering of silver and brass brought the LORD's offering: and every man, with whom was found shittim wood for any work of the service, brought it.
35:25 また、すべて心に知恵ある女たちは、その手をもって紡ぎ、その紡いだ青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸を携えてきた。
35:25 And all the women that were wise hearted did spin with their hands, and brought that which they had spun, both of blue, and of purple, and of scarlet, and of fine linen.
35:26 すべて知恵があって、心に感じた女たちは、やぎの毛を紡いだ。
35:26 And all the women whose heart stirred them up in wisdom spun goats' hair.
35:27 また、かしらたちは縞めのう、およびエポデと胸当にはめる宝石を携えてきた。
35:27 And the rulers brought onyx stones, and stones to be set, for the ephod, and for the breastplate;
35:28 また、ともしびと、注ぎ油と、香ばしい薫香のための香料と、油とを携えてきた。
35:28 And spice, and oil for the light, and for the anointing oil, and for the sweet incense.
35:29 このようにイスラエルの人々は自発のささげ物を主に携えてきた。すなわち主がモーセによって、なせと命じられたすべての工作のために、物を携えてこようと、心から喜んでする男女はみな、そのようにした。
35:29 The children of Israel brought a willing offering unto the LORD, every man and woman, whose heart made them willing to bring for all manner of work, which the LORD had commanded to be made by the hand of Moses.
35:30 モーセはイスラエルの人々に言った、「見よ、主はユダの部族に属するホルの子なるウリの子ベザレルを名ざして召し、
35:30 And Moses said unto the children of Israel, See, the LORD has called by name Bezaleel the son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah;
35:31 彼に神の霊を満たして、知恵と悟りと知識と諸種の工作に長ぜしめ、
35:31 And he has filled him with the spirit of God, in wisdom, in understanding, and in knowledge, and in all manner of workmanship;
35:32 工夫を凝らして金、銀、青銅の細工をさせ、
35:32 And to devise curious works, to work in gold, and in silver, and in brass,
35:33 また宝石を切りはめ、木を彫刻するなど、諸種の工作をさせ、
35:33 And in the cutting of stones, to set them, and in carving of wood, to make any manner of cunning work.
35:34 また人を教えうる力を、彼の心に授けられた。彼とダンの部族に属するアヒサマクの子アホリアブとが、それである。
35:34 And he has put in his heart that he may teach, both he, and Aholiab, the son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan.
35:35 主は彼らに知恵の心を満たして、諸種の工作をさせられた。すなわち彫刻、浮き織および青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸の縫取り、また機織など諸種の工作をさせ、工夫を凝らして巧みなわざをさせられた。
35:35 Them has he filled with wisdom of heart, to work all manner of work, of the engraver, and of the cunning workman, and of the embroiderer, in blue, and in purple, in scarlet, and in fine linen, and of the weaver, even of them that do any work, and of those that devise cunning work.
36:1 ベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち主が知恵と悟りとを授けて、聖所の組立ての諸種の工事を、いかになすかを知らせられた者は、すべて主が命じられたようにしなければならない」。
36:1 Then wrought Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whom the LORD put wisdom and understanding to know how to work all manner of work for the service of the sanctuary, according to all that the LORD had commanded.
36:2 そこで、モーセはベザレルとアホリアブおよびすべて心に知恵ある者、すなわち、その心に主が知恵を授けられた者、またきて、その工事をなそうと心に望むすべての者を召し寄せた。
36:2 And Moses called Bezaleel and Aholiab, and every wise hearted man, in whose heart the LORD had put wisdom, even every one whose heart stirred him up to come unto the work to do it:
36:3 彼らは聖所の組立ての工事をするために、イスラエルの人々が携えてきたもろもろのささげ物を、モーセから受け取ったが、民はなおも朝ごとに、自発のささげ物を彼のもとに携えてきた。
36:3 And they received of Moses all the offering, which the children of Israel had brought for the work of the service of the sanctuary, to make it likewise. And they brought yet unto him free offerings every morning.
36:4 そこで聖所のもろもろの工事をする賢い人々はみな、おのおのしていた工事をやめて、
36:4 And all the wise men, that wrought all the work of the sanctuary, came every man from his work which they made;
36:5 モーセに言った「民があまりに多く携えて来るので、主がせよと命じられた組立ての工事には余ります」。
36:5 And they spoke unto Moses, saying, The people bring much more than enough for the service of the work, which the LORD commanded to make.
36:6 モーセは命令を発し、宿営中にふれさせて言った、「男も女も、もはや聖所のために、ささげ物をするに及ばない」。それで民は携えて来ることをやめた。
36:6 And Moses gave commandment, and they caused it to be proclaimed throughout the camp, saying, Let neither man nor woman make any more work for the offering of the sanctuary. So the people were restrained from bringing.
36:7 材料はすべての工事をするのにじゅうぶんで、かつ余るからである。
36:7 For the stuff they had was sufficient for all the work to make it, and too much.
36:8 すべて工作をする者のうちの心に知恵ある者は、十枚の幕で幕屋を造った。すなわち亜麻の撚糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸で造り、巧みなわざをもって、それにケルビムを織り出した。
36:8 And every wise hearted man among them that wrought the work of the tabernacle made ten curtains of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet: with cherubims of cunning work made he them.
36:9 幕の長さは、おのおの二十八キュビト、幕の幅は、おのおの四キュビトで、幕はみな同じ寸法である。
36:9 The length of one curtain was twenty and eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits: the curtains were all of one size.
36:10 その幕五枚を互に連ね合わせ、また他の五枚の幕をも互に連ね合わせ、
36:10 And he coupled the five curtains one unto another: and the other five curtains he coupled one unto another.
36:11 その一連の端にある幕の縁に青色の乳をつけ、他の一連の端にある幕の縁にも、そのようにした。
36:11 And he made loops of blue on the edge of one curtain from the selvedge in the coupling: likewise he made in the uttermost side of another curtain, in the coupling of the second.
36:12 その一枚の幕に乳五十をつけ、他の一連の幕の端にも、乳五十をつけた。その乳を互に相向かわせた。
36:12 Fifty loops made he in one curtain, and fifty loops made he in the edge of the curtain which was in the coupling of the second: the loops held one curtain to another.
36:13 そして金の輪五十を作り、その輪で、幕を互に連ね合わせたので、一つの幕屋になった。
36:13 And he made fifty clasps of gold, and coupled the curtains one unto another with the clasps: so it became one tabernacle.
36:14 また、やぎの毛糸で幕を作り、幕屋をおおう天幕にした。すなわち幕十一枚を作った。
36:14 And he made curtains of goats' hair for the tent over the tabernacle: eleven curtains he made them.
36:15 おのおのの幕の長さは三十キュビト、おのおのの幕の幅は四キュビトで、その十一枚の幕は同じ寸法である。
36:15 The length of one curtain was thirty cubits, and four cubits was the breadth of one curtain: the eleven curtains were of one size.
36:16 そして、その幕五枚を一つに連ね合わせ、また、その幕六枚を一つに連ね合わせ、
36:16 And he coupled five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves.
36:17 その一連の端にある幕の縁に、乳五十をつけ、他の一連の幕の縁にも、乳五十をつけた。
36:17 And he made fifty loops upon the uttermost edge of the curtain in the coupling, and fifty loops made he upon the edge of the curtain which joins the second.
36:18 そして、青銅の輪五十を作り、その天幕を連ね合わせて一つにした。
36:18 And he made fifty clasps of brass to couple the tent together, that it might be one.
36:19 また、あかね染めの雄羊の皮で、天幕のおおいと、じゅごんの皮で、その上にかけるおおいとを作った。
36:19 And he made a covering for the tent of rams' skins dyed red, and a covering of badgers' skins above that.
36:20 また幕屋のためにアカシヤ材をもって、立枠を造った。
36:20 And he made boards for the tabernacle of shittim wood, standing up.
36:21 枠の長さは十キュビト、枠の幅は、おのおの一キュビト半とし、
36:21 The length of a board was ten cubits, and the breadth of a board one cubit and a half.
36:22 枠ごとに二つの柄を造って、かれとこれとをくい合わせ、幕屋のすべての枠にこのようにした。
36:22 One board had two connections, equally distant one from another: thus did he make for all the boards of the tabernacle.
36:23 幕屋のために枠を造った。すなわち南側のために枠二十を造った。
36:23 And he made boards for the tabernacle; twenty boards for the south side southward:
36:24 その二十の枠の下に銀の座四十を造って、この枠の下に、その二つの柄のために二つの座を置き、かの枠の下にも、その二つの柄のために二つの座を置いた。
36:24 And forty sockets of silver he made under the twenty boards; two sockets under one board for his two connections, and two sockets under another board for his two connections.
36:25 また幕屋の他の側、すなわち北側のためにも枠二十を造った。
36:25 And for the other side of the tabernacle, which is toward the north corner, he made twenty boards,
36:26 その銀の座四十を造って、この枠の下にも二つの座を置き、かの枠の下にも二つの座を置いた。
36:26 And their forty sockets of silver; two sockets under one board, and two sockets under another board.
36:27 また幕屋のうしろ、西側のために枠六つを造り、
36:27 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward he made six boards.
36:28 幕屋のうしろの二つのすみのために枠二つを造った。
36:28 And two boards made he for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides.
36:29 これらは、下で重なり合い、同じくその頂でも第一の環まで重なり合うようにし、その二つとも二つのすみのために、そのように造った。
36:29 And they were coupled beneath, and coupled together at the head thereof, to one ring: thus he did to both of them in both the corners.
36:30 こうして、その枠は八つ、その銀の座は十六、おのおのの枠の下に、二つずつ座があった。
36:30 And there were eight boards; and their sockets were sixteen sockets of silver, under every board two sockets.
36:31 またアカシヤ材の横木を造った。すなわち幕屋のこの側の枠のために五つ、
36:31 And he made bars of shittim wood; five for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,
36:32 また幕屋のかの側の枠のために横木五つ、幕屋のうしろの西側の枠のために横木五つを造った。
36:32 And five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the tabernacle for the sides westward.
36:33 枠のまん中にある中央の横木は、端から端まで通るようにした。
36:33 And he made the middle bar to shoot through the boards from the one end to the other.
36:34 そして、その枠を金でおおい、また横木を通すその環を金で造り、またその横木を金でおおった。
36:34 And he overlaid the boards with gold, and made their rings of gold to be places for the bars, and overlaid the bars with gold.
36:35 また青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、垂幕を作り、巧みなわざをもって、それにケルビムを織り出した。
36:35 And he made a vail of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: with cherubims made he it of cunning work.
36:36 また、これがためにアカシヤ材の柱四本を作り、金でこれをおおい、その鉤を金にし、その柱のために銀の座四つを鋳た。
36:36 And he made thereunto four pillars of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold: their hooks were of gold; and he cast for them four sockets of silver.
36:37 また幕屋の入口のために青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、色とりどりに織ったとばりを作った。
36:37 And he made an hanging for the tabernacle door of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen, of needlework;
36:38 その柱五本と、その鉤とを造り、その柱の頭と桁とを金でおおった。ただし、その五つの座は青銅であった。
36:38 And the five pillars of it with their hooks: and he overlaid their capitals and their fillets with gold: but their five sockets were of brass.
37:1 ベザレルはアカシヤ材の箱を造った。長さは二キュビト半、幅は一キュビト半、高さは一キュビト半である。
37:1 And Bezaleel made the ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half was the length of it, and a cubit and a half the breadth of it, and a cubit and a half the height of it:
37:2 純金で、内そとをおおい、その周囲に金の飾り縁を造った。
37:2 And he overlaid it with pure gold within and without, and made a crown of gold to it round about.
37:3 また金の環四つを鋳て、その四すみに取りつけた。すなわち二つの環をこちら側に、二つの環をあちら側に取りつけた。
37:3 And he cast for it four rings of gold, to be set by the four corners of it; even two rings upon the one side of it, and two rings upon the other side of it.
37:4 またアカシヤ材のさおを造り、金でこれをおおい、
37:4 And he made staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
37:5 そのさおを箱の側面の環に通して、箱をかつぐようにした。
37:5 And he put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, to bear the ark.
37:6 また純金で贖罪所を造った。長さは二キュビト半、幅は一キュビト半である。
37:6 And he made the mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half was the length thereof, and one cubit and a half the breadth thereof.
37:7 また金で、二つのケルビムを造った。すなわち、これを打物造りとし、贖罪所の両端に置いた。
37:7 And he made two cherubims of gold, beaten out of one piece made he them, on the two ends of the mercy seat;
37:8 一つのケルブをこの端に、一つのケルブをかの端に置いた。すなわちケルビムを贖罪所の一部として、その両端に造った。
37:8 One cherub on the end on this side, and another cherub on the other end on that side: out of the mercy seat made he the cherubims on the two ends thereof.
37:9 ケルビムは翼を高く伸べ、その翼で贖罪所をおおい、顔は互に向かい合った。すなわちケルビムの顔は贖罪所に向かっていた。
37:9 And the cherubims spread out their wings on high, and covered with their wings over the mercy seat, with their faces one to another; even towards the mercy seat were the faces of the cherubims.
37:10 またアカシヤ材で、机を造った。長さは二キュビト、幅は一キュビト、高さは一キュビト半である。
37:10 And he made the table of shittim wood: two cubits was the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof:
37:11 純金でこれをおおい、その周囲に金の飾り縁を造った。
37:11 And he overlaid it with pure gold, and made thereunto a crown of gold round about.
37:12 またその周囲に手幅の棧を造り、その周囲の棧に金の飾り縁を造った。
37:12 Also he made thereunto a border of an handbreadth round about; and made a crown of gold for the border thereof round about.
37:13 またこれがために金の環四つを鋳て、その四つの足のすみ四か所にその環を取りつけた。
37:13 And he cast for it four rings of gold, and put the rings upon the four corners that were in the four feet thereof.
37:14 その環は棧のわきにあって、机をかつぐさおを入れる所とした。
37:14 Opposite to the border were the rings, the places for the staves to bear the table.
37:15 またアカシヤ材で、机をかつぐさおを造り、金でこれをおおった。
37:15 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold, to bear the table.
37:16 また机の上の器、すなわちその皿、乳香を盛る杯および灌祭を注ぐための鉢と瓶とを純金で造った。
37:16 And he made the vessels which were upon the table, his dishes, and his spoons, and his bowls, and his covers to cover likewise, of pure gold.
37:17 また純金の燭台を造った。すなわち打物造りで燭台を造り、その台、幹、萼、節、花を一つに連ねた。
37:17 And he made the candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work made he the candlestick; his shaft, and his branch, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, were of the same:
37:18 また六つの枝をそのわきから出させた。すなわち燭台の三つの枝をこの側から、燭台の三つの枝をかの側から出させた。
37:18 And six branches going out of the sides thereof; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side thereof, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side thereof:
37:19 あめんどうの花の形をした三つの萼が、節と花とをもって、この枝にあり、また、あめんどうの花の形をした三つの萼が、節と花とをもって、かの枝にあり、燭台から出る六つの枝をみなそのようにした。
37:19 Three bowls made after the fashion of almonds in one branch, a the shape of round apples and a flower; and three bowls made like almonds in another branch, a the shape of round apples and a flower: so throughout the six branches going out of the candlestick.
37:20 また燭台の幹には、あめんどうの花の形をした四つの萼を、その節と花とをもたせて取りつけた。
37:20 And in the candlestick were four bowls made like almonds, his knops, and his flowers:
37:21 また二つの枝の下に一つの節を取りつけ、次の二つの枝の下に一つの節を取りつけ、さらに次の二つの枝の下に一つの節を取りつけ、燭台の幹から出る六つの枝に、みなそのようにした。
37:21 And a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, and a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, and a the shape of round apples under two branches of the same, according to the six branches going out of it.
37:22 それらの節と枝を一つに連ね、ことごとく純金の打物造りとした。
37:22 Their knops and their branches were of the same: all of it was one beaten work of pure gold.
37:23 また、それのともしび皿七つと、その芯切りばさみと、芯取り皿とを純金で造った。
37:23 And he made his seven lamps, and his snuffers, and his intruments for snuffings, of pure gold.
37:24 すなわち純金一タラントをもって、燭台とそのすべての器とを造った。
37:24 Of a talent of pure gold made he it, and all the vessels thereof.
37:25 またアカシヤ材で香の祭壇を造った。長さ一キュビト、幅一キュビトの四角にし、高さ二キュビトで、これにその一部として角をつけた。
37:25 And he made the incense altar of shittim wood: the length of it was a cubit, and the breadth of it a cubit; it was foursquare; and two cubits was the height of it; the horns thereof were of the same.
37:26 そして、その頂、その周囲の側面、その角を純金でおおい、その周囲に金の飾り縁を造った。
37:26 And he overlaid it with pure gold, both the top of it, and the sides thereof round about, and the horns of it: also he made unto it a crown of gold round about.
37:27 また、その両側に、飾り縁の下に金の環二つを、そのために造った。すなわちその二つの側にこれを造った。これはそれをかつぐさおを通す所である。
37:27 And he made two rings of gold for it under the crown thereof, by the two corners of it, upon the two sides thereof, to be places for the staves to bear it likewise.
37:28 そのさおはアカシヤ材で造り、金でこれをおおった。
37:28 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with gold.
37:29 また香料を造るわざにしたがって、聖なる注ぎ油と純粋の香料の薫香とを造った。
37:29 And he made the holy anointing oil, and the pure incense of sweet spices, according to the work of the apothecary.
38:1 またアカシヤ材で燔祭の祭壇を造った。長さ五キュビト、幅五キュビトの四角で、高さは三キュビトである。
38:1 And he made the altar of burnt offering of shittim wood: five cubits was the length thereof, and five cubits the breadth thereof; it was foursquare; and three cubits the height thereof.
38:2 その四すみの上に、その一部とし、それの角を造り、青銅で祭壇をおおった。
38:2 And he made the horns thereof on the four corners of it; the horns thereof were of the same: and he overlaid it with brass.
38:3 また祭壇のもろもろの器、すなわち、つぼ、十能、鉢、肉叉、火皿を造った。そのすべての器を青銅で造った。
38:3 And he made all the vessels of the altar, the pots, and the shovels, and the basons, and the forks, and the fire-pans: all the vessels thereof made he of brass.
38:4 また祭壇のために、青銅の網細工の格子を造り、これを祭壇の出張りの下に取りつけて、祭壇の高さの半ばに達するようにした。
38:4 And he made for the altar a brazen grate of network under the compass thereof beneath unto the midst of it.
38:5 また青銅の格子の四すみのために、環四つを鋳て、さおを通す所とした。
38:5 And he cast four rings for the four ends of the grate of brass, to be places for the staves.
38:6 アカシヤ材で、そのさおを造り、青銅でこれをおおい、
38:6 And he made the staves of shittim wood, and overlaid them with brass.
38:7 そのさおを祭壇の両側にある環に通して、それをかつぐようにした。祭壇は板をもって、空洞に造った。
38:7 And he put the staves into the rings on the sides of the altar, to bear it likewise; he made the altar hollow with boards.
38:8 また洗盤と、その台を青銅で造った。すなわち会見の幕屋の入口で務をなす女たちの鏡をもって造った。
38:8 And he made the vessel that holds water of brass, and the foot of it of brass, of the looking-glasses of the women assembling, which assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
38:9 また庭を造った。その南側のために百キュビトの亜麻の撚糸の庭のあげばりを設けた。
38:9 And he made the court: on the south side southward the hangings of the court were of fine twined linen, an hundred cubits:
38:10 その柱は二十、その柱の二十の座は青銅で、その柱の鉤と桁は銀とした。
38:10 Their pillars were twenty, and their brazen sockets twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets were of silver.
38:11 また北側のためにも百キュビトのあげばりを設けた。その柱二十、その柱の二十の座は青銅で、その柱の鉤と桁は銀とした。
38:11 And for the north side the hangings were an hundred cubits, their pillars were twenty, and their sockets of brass twenty; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
38:12 また西側のために、五十キュビトのあげばりを設けた。その柱は十、その座も十で、その柱の鉤と桁は銀とした。
38:12 And for the west side were hangings of fifty cubits, their pillars ten, and their sockets ten; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver.
38:13 また東側のためにも、五十キュビトのあげばりを設けた。
38:13 And for the east side eastward fifty cubits.
38:14 その一方に十五キュビトのあげばりを設けた。その柱は三つ、その座も三つ。
38:14 The hangings of the one side of the gate were fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
38:15 また他の一方にも、同じようにした。すなわち庭の門のこなたかなたともに、十五キュビトのあげばりを設けた。その柱は三つ、その座も三つ。
38:15 And for the other side of the court gate, on this hand and that hand, were hangings of fifteen cubits; their pillars three, and their sockets three.
38:16 庭の周囲のあげばりはみな亜麻の撚糸である。
38:16 All the hangings of the court round about were of fine twined linen.
38:17 柱の座は青銅、柱の鉤と桁とは銀、柱の頭のおおいも銀である。庭の柱はみな銀の桁で連ねた。
38:17 And the sockets for the pillars were of brass; the hooks of the pillars and their fillets of silver; and the overlaying of their capitals of silver; and all the pillars of the court were filleted with silver.
38:18 庭の門のとばりは青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、色とりどりに織ったものであった。長さは二十キュビト、幅なる高さは五キュビトで、庭のあげばりと等しかった。
38:18 And the hanging for the gate of the court was needlework, of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen: and twenty cubits was the length, and the height in the breadth was five cubits, answerable to the hangings of the court.
38:19 その柱は四つ、その座も四つで、ともに青銅。その鉤は銀、柱の頭のおおいと桁は銀である。
38:19 And their pillars were four, and their sockets of brass four; their hooks of silver, and the overlaying of their capitals and their fillets of silver.
38:20 ただし、幕屋および、その周囲の庭の釘はみな青銅であった。
38:20 And all the pins of the tabernacle, and of the court round about, were of brass.
38:21 幕屋、すなわちあかしの幕屋に用いた物の総計は次のとおりである。すなわちモーセの命に従い、祭司アロンの子イタマルがレビびとを用いて量ったものである。
38:21 This is the sum of the tabernacle, even of the tabernacle of testimony, as it was counted, according to the commandment of Moses, for the service of the Levites, by the hand of Ithamar, son to Aaron the priest.
38:22 ユダの部族に属するホルの子なるウリの子ベザレルは、主がモーセに命じられた事をことごとくした。
38:22 And Bezaleel the son Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, made all that the LORD commanded Moses.
38:23 ダンの部族に属するアヒサマクの子アホリアブは彼と共にあって彫刻、浮き織をなし、また青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻糸で、縫取りをする者であった。
38:23 And with him was Aholiab, son of Ahisamach, of the tribe of Dan, an engraver, and a cunning workman, and an embroiderer in blue, and in purple, and in scarlet, and fine linen.
38:24 聖所のもろもろの工作に用いたすべての金、すなわち、ささげ物なる金は聖所のシケルで、二十九タラント七百三十シケルであった。
38:24 All the gold that was occupied for the work in all the work of the holy place, even the gold of the offering, was twenty and nine talents, and seven hundred and thirty shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary.
38:25 会衆のうちの数えられた者のささげた銀は聖所のシケルで、百タラント千七百七十五シケルであった。
38:25 And the silver of them that were numbered of the congregation was an hundred talents, and a thousand seven hundred and threescore and fifteen shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
38:26 これはひとり当り一ベカ、すなわち聖所のシケルの半シケルであって、すべて二十歳以上で数えられた者が六十万三千五百五十人であったからである。
38:26 A bekah for every man, that is, half a shekel, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for every one that went to be numbered, from twenty years old and upward, for six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty men.
38:27 聖所の座と垂幕の座とを鋳るために用いた銀は百タラントであった。すなわち百座につき百タラント、一座につき一タラントである。
38:27 And of the hundred talents of silver were cast the sockets of the sanctuary, and the sockets of the vail; an hundred sockets of the hundred talents, a talent for a socket.
38:28 また千七百七十五シケルで柱の鉤を造り、また柱の頭をおおい、柱のために桁を造った。
38:28 And of the thousand seven hundred seventy and five shekels he made hooks for the pillars, and overlaid their capitals, and filleted them.
38:29 ささげ物なる青銅は七十タラント二千四百シケルであった。
38:29 And the brass of the offering was seventy talents, and two thousand and four hundred shekels.
38:30 これを用いて会見の幕屋の入口の座、青銅の祭壇と、それにつく青銅の格子、および祭壇のもろもろの器を造った。
38:30 And therewith he made the sockets to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the brazen altar, and the brazen grate for it, and all the vessels of the altar,
38:31 また庭の周囲の座、庭の門の座、および幕屋のもろもろの釘と、庭の周囲のもろもろの釘を造った。
38:31 And the sockets of the court round about, and the sockets of the court gate, and all the pins of the tabernacle, and all the pins of the court round about.
39:1 彼らは青糸、紫糸、緋糸で、聖所の務のための編物の服を作った。またアロンのために聖なる服を作った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:1 And of the blue, and purple, and scarlet, they made cloths of service, to do service in the holy place, and made the holy garments for Aaron; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:2 また金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸でエポデを作った。
39:2 And he made the ephod of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:3 また金を打ち延べて板とし、これを切って糸とし、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸に交えて、巧みな細工とした。
39:3 And they did beat the gold into thin plates, and cut it into wires, to work it in the blue, and in the purple, and in the scarlet, and in the fine linen, with cunning work.
39:4 また、これがために肩ひもを作ってこれにつけ、その両端でこれにつけた。
39:4 They made shoulder pieces for it, to couple it together: by the two edges was it coupled together.
39:5 エポデの上で、これをつかねる帯は、同じきれで、同じように、金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で作った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:5 And the curious girdle of his ephod, that was upon it, was of the same, according to the work thereof; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:6 また、縞めのうを細工して、金糸の編細工にはめ、これに印を彫刻するように、イスラエルの子たちの名を刻み、
39:6 And they wrought onyx stones enclosed in casings of gold, graven, as signets are graven, with the names of the children of Israel.
39:7 これをエポデの肩ひもにつけて、イスラエルの子たちの記念の石とした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:7 And he put them on the shoulders of the ephod, that they should be stones for a memorial to the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:8 また胸当を巧みなわざをもって、エポデの作りのように作った。すなわち金糸、青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で作った。
39:8 And he made the breastplate of cunning work, like the work of the ephod; of gold, blue, and purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen.
39:9 胸当は二つに折って四角にした。すなわち二つに折って、長さを一指当りとし、幅も一指当りとした。
39:9 It was foursquare; they made the breastplate double: a span was the length thereof, and a span the breadth thereof, being doubled.
39:10 その中に宝石四列をはめた。すなわち、紅玉髄、貴かんらん石、水晶の列を第一列とし、
39:10 And they set in it four rows of stones: the first row was a ruby, a topaz, and a carbuncle: this was the first row.
39:11 第二列は、ざくろ石、るり、赤縞めのう、
39:11 And the second row, an emerald, a sapphire, and a diamond.
39:12 第三列は黄水晶、めのう、紫水晶、
39:12 And the third row, a jacinth, an agate, and an amethyst.
39:13 第四列は黄碧玉、縞めのう、碧玉であって、これらを金の編細工の中にはめ込んだ。
39:13 And the fourth row, a beryl, an onyx, and a jasper: they were enclosed in casings of gold in their settings.
39:14 その宝石はイスラエルの子たちの名にしたがい、その名と等しく十二とし、おのおの印の彫刻のように、十二部族のためにその名を刻んだ。
39:14 And the stones were according to the names of the children of Israel, twelve, according to their names, like the engravings of a signet, every one with his name, according to the twelve tribes.
39:15 またひも細工にねじた純金のくさりを胸当につけた。
39:15 And they made upon the breastplate chains at the ends, of interwoven work of pure gold.
39:16 また金の二つの編細工と、二つの金の環とを作り、その二つの環を胸当の両端につけた。
39:16 And they made two casings of gold, and two gold rings; and put the two rings in the two ends of the breastplate.
39:17 かの二筋の金のひもを胸当の端の二つの環につけた。
39:17 And they put the two interwoven chains of gold in the two rings on the ends of the breastplate.
39:18 ただし、その二筋のひもの他の両端を、かの二つの編細工につけ、エポデの肩ひもにつけて前にくるようにした。
39:18 And the two ends of the two interwoven chains they fastened in the two casings, and put them on the shoulder pieces of the ephod, before it.
39:19 また二つの金の環を作って、これを胸当の両端につけた。すなわちエポデに接する内側の縁にこれをつけた。
39:19 And they made two rings of gold, and put them on the two ends of the breastplate, upon the border of it, which was on the side of the ephod inward.
39:20 また金の環二つを作って、これをエポデの二つの肩ひもの下の部分につけ、前の方で、そのつなぎ目に近く、エポデの帯の上の方にくるようにした。
39:20 And they made two other golden rings, and put them on the two sides of the ephod underneath, toward the front part of it, opposite to the other coupling thereof, above the curious girdle of the ephod.
39:21 胸当は青ひもをもって、その環をエポデの環に結びつけ、エポデの帯の上の方にくるようにした。こうして、胸当がエポデから離れないようにした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:21 And they did bind the breastplate by his rings unto the rings of the ephod with a lace of blue, that it might be above the curious girdle of the ephod, and that the breastplate might not be loosed from the ephod; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:22 またエポデに属する上服は、すべて青地の織物で作った。
39:22 And he made the robe of the ephod of woven work, all of blue.
39:23 上服の口はそのまん中にあって、その口の周囲には、よろいのえりのように縁をつけて、ほころびないようにした。
39:23 And there was an hole in the midst of the robe, as the hole of an armour of jacket, with a band round about the hole, that it should not rend.
39:24 上服のすそには青糸、紫糸、緋糸、亜麻の撚糸で、ざくろを作りつけ、
39:24 And they made upon the hems of the robe pomegranates of blue, and purple, and scarlet, and twined linen.
39:25 また純金で鈴を作り、その鈴を上服のすその周囲の、ざくろとざくろとの間につけた。
39:25 And they made bells of pure gold, and put the bells between the pomegranates upon the hem of the robe, round about between the pomegranates;
39:26 すなわち鈴にざくろ、鈴にざくろと、務の上服のすその周囲につけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:26 A bell and a pomegranate, a bell and a pomegranate, round about the hem of the robe to minister in; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:27 またアロンとその子たちのために、亜麻糸で織った下服を作り、
39:27 And they made coats of fine linen of woven work for Aaron, and for his sons,
39:28 亜麻布で帽子を作り、亜麻布で麗しい頭布を作り、亜麻の撚糸の布で、下ばきを作り、
39:28 And a turban of fine linen, and goodly bonnets of fine linen, and linen breeches of fine twined linen,
39:29 亜麻の撚糸および青糸、紫糸、緋糸で、色とりどりに織った帯を作った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:29 And a girdle of fine twined linen, and blue, and purple, and scarlet, of needlework; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:30 また純金をもって、聖なる冠の前板を作り、印の彫刻のように、その上に「主に聖なる者」という文字を書き、
39:30 And they made the plate of the holy crown of pure gold, and wrote upon it a writing, like to the engravings of a signet, HOLINESS TO THE LORD.
39:31 これに青ひもをつけて、それを帽子の上に結びつけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
39:31 And they tied unto it a lace of blue, to fasten it on high upon the turban; as the LORD commanded Moses.
39:32 こうして会見の天幕なる幕屋の、もろもろの工事が終った。イスラエルの人々はすべて主がモーセに命じられたようにおこなった。
39:32 Thus was all the work of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation finished: and the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
39:33 彼らは幕屋と天幕およびそのもろもろの器をモーセのもとに携えてきた。すなわち、その鉤、その枠、その横木、その柱、その座、
39:33 And they brought the tabernacle unto Moses, the tent, and all his furniture, his clasps, his boards, his bars, and his pillars, and his sockets,
39:34 あかね染めの雄羊の皮のおおい、じゅごんの皮のおおい、隔ての垂幕、
39:34 And the covering of rams' skins dyed red, and the covering of badgers' skins, and the vail of the covering,
39:35 あかしの箱と、そのさお、贖罪所、
39:35 The ark of the testimony, and the staves thereof, and the mercy seat,
39:36 机と、そのもろもろの器、供えのパン、
39:36 The table, and all the vessels thereof, and the showbread,
39:37 純金の燭台と、そのともしび皿、すなわち列に並べるともしび皿と、そのもろもろの器、およびそのともし油、
39:37 The pure candlestick, with the lamps thereof, even with the lamps to be set in order, and all the vessels thereof, and the oil for light,
39:38 金の祭壇、注ぎ油、香ばしい薫香、幕屋の入口のとばり、
39:38 And the golden altar, and the anointing oil, and the sweet incense, and the hanging for the tabernacle door,
39:39 青銅の祭壇、その青銅の格子と、そのさお、およびそのもろもろの器、洗盤とその台、
39:39 The brazen altar, and his grate of brass, his staves, and all his vessels, the vessel that holds water and his foot,
39:40 庭のあげばり、その柱とその座、庭の門のとばり、そのひもとその釘、また会見の天幕の幕屋に用いるもろもろの器、
39:40 The hangings of the court, his pillars, and his sockets, and the hanging for the court gate, his cords, and his pins, and all the vessels of the service of the tabernacle, for the tent of the congregation,
39:41 聖所で務をなす編物の服、すなわち祭司の務をなすための祭司アロンの聖なる服およびその子たちの服。
39:41 The cloths of service to do service in the holy place, and the holy garments for Aaron the priest, and his sons' garments, to minister in the priest's office.
39:42 イスラエルの人々は、すべて主がモーセに命じられたように、そのすべての工事をした。
39:42 According to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so the children of Israel made all the work.
39:43 モーセがそのすべての工事を見ると、彼らは主が命じられたとおりに、それをなしとげていたので、モーセは彼らを祝福した。
39:43 And Moses did look upon all the work, and, behold, they had done it as the LORD had commanded, even so had they done it: and Moses blessed them.
40:1 主はモーセに言われた。
40:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
40:2 「正月の元日にあなたは会見の天幕なる幕屋を建てなければならない。
40:2 On the first day of the first month shall you set up the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
40:3 そして、その中にあかしの箱を置き、垂幕で、箱を隔て隠し、
40:3 And you shall put therein the ark of the testimony, and cover the ark with the vail.
40:4 また、机を携え入れ、それに並べるものを並べ、燭台を携え入れて、そのともしびをともさなければならない。
40:4 And you shall bring in the table, and set in order the things that are to be set in order upon it; and you shall bring in the candlestick, and light the lamps thereof.
40:5 あなたはまた金の香の祭壇を、あかしの箱の前にすえ、とばりを幕屋の入口にかけなければならない。
40:5 And you shall set the altar of gold for the incense before the ark of the testimony, and put the hanging of the door to the tabernacle.
40:6 また燔祭の祭壇を会見の天幕なる幕屋の入口の前にすえ、
40:6 And you shall set the altar of the burnt offering before the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation.
40:7 洗盤を会見の天幕と祭壇との間にすえて、これに水を入れなければならない。
40:7 And you shall set the vessel that holds water between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and shall put water therein.
40:8 また周囲に庭を設け、庭の門にとばりをかけなければならない。
40:8 And you shall set up the court round about, and hang up the hanging at the court gate.
40:9 そして注ぎ油をとって、幕屋とその中のすべてのものに注ぎ、それとそのもろもろの器とを聖別しなければならない、こうして、それは聖となるであろう。
40:9 And you shall take the anointing oil, and anoint the tabernacle, and all that is therein, and shall hallow it, and all the vessels thereof: and it shall be holy.
40:10 あなたはまた燔祭の祭壇と、そのすべての器に油を注いで、その祭壇を聖別しなければならない。こうして祭壇は、いと聖なるものとなるであろう。
40:10 And you shall anoint the altar of the burnt offering, and all his vessels, and sanctify the altar: and it shall be an altar most holy.
40:11 また洗盤と、その台とに油を注いで、これを聖別し、
40:11 And you shall anoint the vessel that holds water and his foot, and sanctify it.
40:12 アロンとその子たちを会見の幕屋の入口に連れてきて、水で彼らを洗い、
40:12 And you shall bring Aaron and his sons unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and wash them with water.
40:13 アロンに聖なる服を着せ、これに油を注いで聖別し、祭司の務をさせなければならない。
40:13 And you shall put upon Aaron the holy garments, and anoint him, and sanctify him; that he may minister unto me in the priest's office.
40:14 また彼の子たちを連れてきて、これに服を着せ、
40:14 And you shall bring his sons, and clothe them with coats:
40:15 その父に油を注いだように、彼らにも油を注いで、祭司の務をさせなければならない。彼らが油そそがれることは、代々ながく祭司職のためになすべきことである」。
40:15 And you shall anoint them, as you did anoint their father, that they may minister unto me in the priest's office: for their anointing shall surely be an everlasting priesthood throughout their generations.
40:16 モーセはそのように行った。すなわち主が彼に命じられたように行った。
40:16 Thus did Moses: according to all that the LORD commanded him, so did he.
40:17 第二年の正月になって、その月の元日に幕屋は建った。
40:17 And it came to pass in the first month in the second year, on the first day of the month, that the tabernacle was reared up.
40:18 すなわちモーセは幕屋を建て、その座をすえ、その枠を立て、その横木をさし込み、その柱を立て、
40:18 And Moses reared up the tabernacle, and fastened his sockets, and set up the boards thereof, and put in the bars thereof, and reared up his pillars.
40:19 幕屋の上に天幕をひろげ、その上に天幕のおおいをかけた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:19 And he spread abroad the tent over the tabernacle, and put the covering of the tent above upon it; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:20 彼はまたあかしの板をとって箱に納め、さおを箱につけ、贖罪所を箱の上に置き、
40:20 And he took and put the testimony into the ark, and set the staves on the ark, and put the mercy seat above upon the ark:
40:21 箱を幕屋に携え入れ、隔ての垂幕をかけて、あかしの箱を隠した。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:21 And he brought the ark into the tabernacle, and set up the vail of the covering, and covered the ark of the testimony; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:22 彼はまた会見の天幕なる幕屋の内部の北側、垂幕の外に机をすえ、
40:22 And he put the table in the tent of the congregation, upon the side of the tabernacle northward, without the vail.
40:23 その上にパンを列に並べて、主の前に供えた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:23 And he set the bread in order upon it before the LORD; as the LORD had commanded Moses.
40:24 彼はまた会見の天幕なる幕屋の内部の南側に、机にむかい合わせて燭台をすえ、
40:24 And he put the candlestick in the tent of the congregation, opposite to the table, on the side of the tabernacle southward.
40:25 主の前にともしびをともした。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:25 And he lighted the lamps before the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:26 彼は会見の幕屋の中、垂幕の前に金の祭壇をすえ、
40:26 And he put the golden altar in the tent of the congregation before the vail:
40:27 その上に香ばしい薫香をたいた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:27 And he burnt sweet incense thereon; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:28 彼はまた幕屋の入口にとばりをかけ、
40:28 And he set up the hanging at the door of the tabernacle.
40:29 燔祭の祭壇を会見の天幕なる幕屋の入口にすえ、その上に燔祭と素祭をささげた。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:29 And he put the altar of burnt offering by the door of the tabernacle of the tent of the congregation, and offered upon it the burnt offering and the food offering; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:30 彼はまた会見の天幕と祭壇との間に洗盤を置き、洗うためにそれに水を入れた。
40:30 And he set the vessel that holds water between the tent of the congregation and the altar, and put water there, to wash likewise.
40:31 モーセとアロンおよびその子たちは、それで手と足を洗った。
40:31 And Moses and Aaron and his sons washed their hands and their feet thereat:
40:32 すなわち会見の天幕にはいるとき、また祭壇に近づくとき、そこで洗った。主がモーセに命じられたとおりである。
40:32 When they went into the tent of the congregation, and when they came near unto the altar, they washed; as the LORD commanded Moses.
40:33 また幕屋と祭壇の周囲に庭を設け、庭の門にとばりをかけた。このようにしてモーセはその工事を終えた。
40:33 And he reared up the court round about the tabernacle and the altar, and set up the hanging of the court gate. So Moses finished the work.
40:34 そのとき、雲は会見の天幕をおおい、主の栄光が幕屋に満ちた。
40:34 Then a cloud covered the tent of the congregation, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
40:35 モーセは会見の幕屋に、はいることができなかった。雲がその上にとどまり、主の栄光が幕屋に満ちていたからである。
40:35 And Moses was not able to enter into the tent of the congregation, because the cloud abode thereon, and the glory of the LORD filled the tabernacle.
40:36 雲が幕屋の上からのぼる時、イスラエルの人々は道に進んだ。彼らはその旅路において常にそうした。
40:36 And when the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle, the children of Israel went onward in all their journeys:
40:37 しかし、雲がのぼらない時は、そののぼる日まで道に進まなかった。
40:37 But if the cloud were not taken up, then they journeyed not till the day that it was taken up.
40:38 すなわちイスラエルの家のすべての者の前に、昼は幕屋の上に主の雲があり、夜は雲の中に火があった。彼らの旅路において常にそうであった。
40:38 For the cloud of the LORD was upon the tabernacle by day, and fire was on it by night, in the sight of all the house of Israel, throughout all their journeys.
