11:1 主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、
11:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying unto them,
11:2 「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『地にあるすべての獣のうち、あなたがたの食べることができる動物は次のとおりである。
11:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, These are the beasts which all of you shall eat among all the beasts that are on the earth.
11:3 獣のうち、すべてひずめの分かれたもの、すなわち、ひずめの全く切れたもの、反芻するものは、これを食べることができる。
11:3 Whatsoever parts the hoof, and is cloven footed, and chews the cud, among the beasts, that shall all of you eat.
11:4 ただし、反芻するもの、またはひずめの分かれたもののうち、次のものは食べてはならない。すなわち、らくだ、これは、反芻するけれども、ひずめが分かれていないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。
11:4 Nevertheless these shall all of you not eat of them that chew the cud, or of them that divide the hoof: as the camel, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:5 岩たぬき、これは、反芻するけれども、ひずめが分かれていないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。
11:5 And the coney, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:6 野うさぎ、これは、反芻するけれども、ひずめが分かれていないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。
11:6 And the hare, because he chews the cud, but divides not the hoof; he is unclean unto you.
11:7 豚、これは、ひずめが分かれており、ひずめが全く切れているけれども、反芻することをしないから、あなたがたには汚れたものである。
11:7 And the swine, though he divide the hoof, and be cloven footed, yet he chews not the cud; he is unclean to you.
11:8 あなたがたは、これらのものの肉を食べてはならない。またその死体に触れてはならない。これらは、あなたがたには汚れたものである。
11:8 Of their flesh shall all of you not eat, and their carcass shall all of you not touch; they are unclean to you.
11:9 水の中にいるすべてのもののうち、あなたがたの食べることができるものは次のとおりである。すなわち、海でも、川でも、すべて水の中にいるもので、ひれと、うろこのあるものは、これを食べることができる。
11:9 These shall all of you eat of all that are in the waters: whatsoever has fins and scales in the waters, in the seas, and in the rivers, them shall all of you eat.
11:10 すべて水に群がるもの、またすべての水の中にいる生き物のうち、すなわち、すべて海、また川にいて、ひれとうろこのないものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。
11:10 And all that have not fins and scales in the seas, and in the rivers, of all that move in the waters, and of any living thing which is in the waters, they shall be an abomination unto you:
11:11 これらはあなたがたに忌むべきものであるから、あなたがたはその肉を食べてはならない。またその死体は忌むべきものとしなければならない。
11:11 They shall be even an abomination unto you; all of you shall not eat of their flesh, but all of you shall have their carcasses in abomination.
11:12 すべて水の中にいて、ひれも、うろこもないものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。
11:12 Whatsoever has no fins nor scales in the waters, that shall be an abomination unto you.
11:13 鳥のうち、次のものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものとして、食べてはならない。それらは忌むべきものである。すなわち、はげわし、ひげはげわし、みさご、
11:13 And these are they which all of you shall have in abomination among the fowls; they shall not be eaten, they are an abomination: the eagle, and the vulture, and the buzzard,
11:14 とび、はやぶさの類、
11:14 And the vulture, and the kite after his kind;
11:15 もろもろのからすの類、
11:15 Every raven after his kind;
11:16 だちょう、よたか、かもめ、たかの類、
11:16 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after his kind,
11:17 ふくろう、う、みみずく、
11:17 And the little owl, and the cormorant, and the great owl,
11:18 むらさきばん、ペリカン、はげたか、
11:18 And the swan, and the pelican, and the carrion vulture,
11:19 こうのとり、さぎの類、やつがしら、こうもり。
11:19 And the stork, the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the bat.
11:20 また羽があって四つの足で歩くすべての這うものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。
11:20 All fowls that creep, going upon all four, shall be an abomination unto you.
11:21 ただし、羽があって四つの足で歩くすべての這うもののうち、その足のうえに、跳ね足があり、それで地の上をはねるものは食べることができる。
11:21 Yet these may all of you eat of every flying creeping thing that goes upon all four, which have legs above their feet, to leap likewise upon the earth;
11:22 すなわち、そのうち次のものは食べることができる。移住いなごの類、遍歴いなごの類、大いなごの類、小いなごの類である。
11:22 Even these of them all of you may eat; the locust after his kind, and the bald locust after his kind, and the beetle after his kind, and the grasshopper after his kind.
11:23 しかし、羽があって四つの足で歩く、そのほかのすべての這うものは、あなたがたに忌むべきものである。
11:23 But all other flying creeping things, which have four feet, shall be an abomination unto you.
11:24 あなたがたは次の場合に汚れたものとなる。すなわち、すべてこれらのものの死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。
11:24 And for these all of you shall be unclean: whosoever touches the carcass of them shall be unclean until the even.
11:25 すべてこれらのものの死体を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗わなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れる。
11:25 And whosoever bears ought of the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
11:26 すべて、ひずめの分かれた獣で、その切れ目の切れていないもの、また、反芻することをしないものは、あなたがたに汚れたものである。すべて、これに触れる者は汚れる。
11:26 The carcasses of every beast which divides the hoof, and is not cloven footed, nor chews the cud, are unclean unto you: every one that touches them shall be unclean.
11:27 すべて四つの足で歩く獣のうち、その足の裏のふくらみで歩くものは皆あなたがたに汚れたものである。すべてその死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。
11:27 And whatsoever goes upon his paws, among all manner of beasts that go on all four, those are unclean unto you: whoso touches their carcass shall be unclean until the even.
11:28 その死体を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗わなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れる。これは、あなたがたに汚れたものである。
11:28 And he that bears the carcass of them shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: they are unclean unto you.
11:29 地にはう這うもののうち、次のものはあなたがたに汚れたものである。すなわち、もぐらねずみ、とびねずみ、とげ尾とかげの類、
11:29 These also shall be unclean unto you among the creeping things that creep upon the earth; the weasel, and the mouse, and the tortoise after his kind,
11:30 やもり、大とかげ、とかげ、すなとかげ、カメレオン。
11:30 And the ferret, and the chameleon, and the lizard, and the snail, and the mole.
11:31 もろもろの這うもののうち、これらはあなたがたに汚れたものである。すべてそれらのものが死んで、それに触れる者は夕まで汚れる。
11:31 These are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever does touch them, when they be dead, shall be unclean until the even.
11:32 またそれらのものが死んで、それが落ちかかった物はすべて汚れる。木の器であれ、衣服であれ、皮であれ、袋であれ、およそ仕事に使う器はそれを水に入れなければならない。それは夕まで汚れているが、そののち清くなる。
11:32 And upon whatsoever any of them, when they are dead, does fall, it shall be unclean; whether it be any vessel of wood, or raiment, or skin, or sack, whatsoever vessel it be, wherein any work is done, it must be put into water, and it shall be unclean until the even; so it shall be cleansed.
11:33 またそれらのものが、土の器の中に落ちたならば、その中にあるものは皆汚れる。あなたがたはその器をこわさなければならない。
11:33 And every earthen vessel, into where any of them falls, whatsoever is in it shall be unclean; and all of you shall break it.
11:34 またすべてその中にある食物で、水分のあるものは汚れる。またすべてそのような器の中にある飲み物も皆汚れる。
11:34 Of all food which may be eaten, that on which such water comes shall be unclean: and all drink that may be drunk in every such vessel shall be unclean.
11:35 またそれらのものの死体が落ちかかったならば、その物はすべて汚れる。天火であれ、かまどであれ、それをこわさなければならない。これらは汚れたもので、あなたがたに汚れたものとなる。
11:35 And every thing whereupon any part of their carcass falls shall be unclean; whether it be oven, or ranges for pots, they shall be broken down: for they are unclean and shall be unclean unto you.
11:36 ただし、泉、あるいは水の集まった水たまりは汚れない。しかし、その死体に触れる者は汚れる。
11:36 Nevertheless a fountain or pit, wherein there is plenty of water, shall be clean: but that which touches their carcass shall be unclean.
11:37 それらのものの死体が、まく種の上に落ちても、それは汚れない。
11:37 And if any part of their carcass fall upon any sowing seed which is to be sown, it shall be clean.
11:38 ただし、種の上に水がかかっていて、その上にそれらのものの死体が、落ちるならば、それはあなたがたに汚れたものとなる。
11:38 But if any water be put upon the seed, and any part of their carcass fall thereon, it shall be unclean unto you.
11:39 あなたがたの食べる獣が死んだ時、その死体に触れる者は夕まで汚れる。
11:39 And if any beast, of which all of you may eat, die; he that touches the carcass thereof shall be unclean until the even.
11:40 その死体を食べる者は、その衣服を洗わなければならない。夕まで汚れる。その死体を運ぶ者も、その衣服を洗わなければならない。夕まで汚れる。
11:40 And he that eats of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that bears the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even.
11:41 すべて地にはう這うものは忌むべきものである。これを食べてはならない。
11:41 And every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth shall be an abomination; it shall not be eaten.
11:42 すべて腹ばい行くもの、四つ足で歩くもの、あるいは多くの足をもつもの、すなわち、すべて地にはう這うものは、あなたがたはこれを食べてはならない。それらは忌むべきものだからである。
11:42 Whatsoever goes upon the belly, and whatsoever goes upon all four, or whatsoever has more feet among all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them all of you shall not eat; for they are an abomination.
11:43 あなたがたはすべて這うものによって、あなたがたの身を忌むべきものとしてはならない。また、これをもって身を汚し、あるいはこれによって汚されてはならない。
11:43 All of you shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creeps, neither shall all of you make yourselves unclean with them, that all of you should be defiled thereby.
11:44 わたしはあなたがたの神、主であるから、あなたがたはおのれを聖別し、聖なる者とならなければならない。わたしは聖なる者である。地にはう這うものによって、あなたがたの身を汚してはならない。
11:44 For I am the LORD your God: all of you shall therefore sanctify yourselves, and all of you shall be holy; for I am holy: neither shall all of you defile yourselves with any manner of creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.
11:45 わたしはあなたがたの神となるため、あなたがたをエジプトの国から導き上った主である。わたしは聖なる者であるから、あなたがたは聖なる者とならなければならない』」。
11:45 For I am the LORD that brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God: all of you shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.
11:46 これは獣と鳥と、水の中に動くすべての生き物と、地に這うすべてのものに関するおきてであって、
11:46 This is the law of the beasts, and of the fowl, and of every living creature that moves in the waters, and of every creature that creeps upon the earth:
11:47 汚れたものと清いもの、食べられる生き物と、食べられない生き物とを区別するものである。
11:47 To make a difference between the unclean and the clean, and between the beast that may be eaten and the beast that may not be eaten.
12:1 主はまたモーセに言われた、
12:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
12:2 「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『女がもし身ごもって男の子を産めば、七日のあいだ汚れる。すなわち、月のさわりの日かずほど汚れるであろう。
12:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a woman have conceived seed, and born a male child: then she shall be unclean seven days; according to the days of the separation for her infirmity shall she be unclean.
12:3 八日目にはその子の前の皮に割礼を施さなければならない。
12:3 And in the eighth day the flesh of his foreskin shall be circumcised.
12:4 その女はなお、血の清めに三十三日を経なければならない。その清めの日の満ちるまでは、聖なる物に触れてはならない。また聖なる所にはいってはならない。
12:4 And she shall then continue in the blood of her purifying three and thirty days; she shall touch no hallowed thing, nor come into the sanctuary, until the days of her purifying be fulfilled.
12:5 もし女の子を産めば、二週間、月のさわりと同じように汚れる。その女はなお、血の清めに六十六日を経なければならない。
12:5 But if she bear a female child, then she shall be unclean two weeks, as in her separation: and she shall continue in the blood of her purifying threescore and six days.
12:6 男の子または女の子についての清めの日が満ちるとき、女は燔祭のために一歳の小羊、罪祭のために家ばとのひな、あるいは山ばとを、会見の幕屋の入口の、祭司のもとに、携えてこなければならない。
12:6 And when the days of her purifying are fulfilled, for a son, or for a daughter, she shall bring a lamb of the first year for a burnt offering, and a young pigeon, or a turtledove, for a sin offering, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest:
12:7 祭司はこれを主の前にささげて、その女のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして女はその出血の汚れが清まるであろう。これは男の子または女の子を産んだ女のためのおきてである。
12:7 Who shall offer it before the LORD, and make an atonement for her; and she shall be cleansed from the issue of her blood. This is the law for her that has born a male or a female.
12:8 もしその女が小羊に手の届かないときは、山ばと二羽か、家ばとのひな二羽かを取って、一つを燔祭、一つを罪祭とし、祭司はその女のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして女は清まるであろう』」。
12:8 And if she be not able to bring a lamb, then she shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons; the one for the burnt offering, and the other for a sin offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for her, and she shall be clean.
13:1 主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、
13:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron, saying,
13:2 「人がその身の皮に腫、あるいは吹出物、あるいは光る所ができ、これがその身の皮にらい病の患部のようになるならば、その人を祭司アロンまたは、祭司なるアロンの子たちのひとりのもとに、連れて行かなければならない。
13:2 When a man shall have in the skin of his flesh a rising, a scab, or bright spot, and it be in the skin of his flesh like the plague of leprosy; then he shall be brought unto Aaron the priest, or unto one of his sons the priests:
13:3 祭司はその身の皮の患部を見、その患部の毛がもし白く変り、かつ患部が、その身の皮よりも深く見えるならば、それはらい病の患部である。祭司は彼を見て、これを汚れた者としなければならない。
13:3 And the priest shall look on the plague in the skin of the flesh: and when the hair in the plague is turned white, and the plague in sight be deeper than the skin of his flesh, it is a plague of leprosy: and the priest shall look on him, and pronounce him unclean.
13:4 もしまたその身の皮の光る所が白くて、皮よりも深く見えず、また毛も白く変っていないならば、祭司はその患者を七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。
13:4 If the bright spot be white in the skin of his flesh, and in sight be not deeper than the skin, and the hair thereof be not turned white; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague seven days:
13:5 七日目に祭司はこれを見て、もし患部の様子に変りがなく、また患部が皮に広がっていないならば、祭司はその人をさらに七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。
13:5 And the priest shall look on him the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague in his sight be at a stay, and the plague spread not in the skin; then the priest shall shut him up seven days more:
13:6 七日目に祭司は再びその人を見て、患部がもし薄らぎ、また患部が皮に広がっていないならば、祭司はこれを清い者としなければならない。これは吹出物である。その人は衣服を洗わなければならない。そして清くなるであろう。
13:6 And the priest shall look on him again the seventh day: and, behold, if the plague be somewhat dark, and the plague spread not in the skin, the priest shall pronounce him clean: it is but a scab: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
13:7 しかし、その人が祭司に見せて清い者とされた後に、その吹出物が皮に広くひろがるならば、再び祭司にその身を見せなければならない。
13:7 But if the scab spread much abroad in the skin, after that he has been seen of the priest for his cleansing, he shall be seen of the priest again.
13:8 祭司はこれを見て、その吹出物が皮に広がっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病である。
13:8 And if the priest see that, behold, the scab spreads in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a leprosy.
13:9 もし人にらい病の患部があるならば、その人を祭司のもとに連れて行かなければならない。
13:9 When the plague of leprosy is in a man, then he shall be brought unto the priest;
13:10 祭司がこれを見て、その皮に白い腫があり、その毛も白く変り、かつその腫に生きた生肉が見えるならば、
13:10 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the rising be white in the skin, and it have turned the hair white, and there be quick raw flesh in the rising;
13:11 これは古いらい病がその身の皮にあるのであるから、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。その人は汚れた者であるから、これを留め置くに及ばない。
13:11 It is an old leprosy in the skin of his flesh, and the priest shall pronounce him unclean, and shall not shut him up: for he is unclean.
13:12 もしらい病が広く皮に出て、そのらい病が、その患者の皮を頭から足まで、ことごとくおおい、祭司の見るところすべてに及んでおれば、
13:12 And if a leprosy break out abroad in the skin, and the leprosy cover all the skin of him that has the plague from his head even to his foot, where ever the priest looks;
13:13 祭司はこれを見、もしらい病がその身をことごとくおおっておれば、その患者を清い者としなければならない。それはことごとく白く変ったから、彼は清い者である。
13:13 Then the priest shall consider: and, behold, if the leprosy have covered all his flesh, he shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: it is all turned white: he is clean.
13:14 しかし、もし生肉がその人に現れておれば、汚れた者である。
13:14 But when raw flesh appears in him, he shall be unclean.
13:15 祭司はその生肉を見て、その人を汚れた者としなければならない。生肉は汚れたものであって、それはらい病である。
13:15 And the priest shall see the raw flesh, and pronounce him to be unclean: for the raw flesh is unclean: it is a leprosy.
13:16 もしまたその生肉が再び白く変るならば、その人は祭司のもとに行かなければならない。
13:16 Or if the raw flesh return, and be changed unto white, he shall come unto the priest;
13:17 祭司はその人を見て、もしその患部が白く変っておれば、祭司はその患者を清い者としなければならない。その人は清い者である。
13:17 And the priest shall see him: and, behold, if the plague be turned into white; then the priest shall pronounce him clean that has the plague: he is clean.
13:18 また身の皮に腫物があったが、直って、
13:18 The flesh also, in which, even in the skin thereof, was a boil, and is healed,
13:19 その腫物の場所に白い腫、または赤みをおびた白い光る所があれば、これを祭司に見せなければならない。
13:19 And in the place of the boil there be a white rising, or a bright spot, white, and somewhat reddish, and it be showed to the priest;
13:20 祭司はこれを見て、もし皮よりも低く見え、その毛が白く変っていれば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それは腫物に起ったらい病の患部だからである。
13:20 And if, when the priest sees it, behold, it be in sight lower than the skin, and the hair thereof be turned white; the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague of leprosy broken out of the boil.
13:21 しかし、祭司がこれを見て、もしその所に白い毛がなく、また皮よりも低い所がなく、かえって薄らいでいるならば、祭司はその人を七日のあいだ留め置かなければならない。
13:21 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hairs therein, and if it be not lower than the skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
13:22 そしてもし皮に広くひろがっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それは患部だからである。
13:22 And if it spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a plague.
13:23 しかし、その光る所がもしその所にとどまって広がらなければ、それは腫物の跡である。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。
13:23 But if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not, it is a burning boil; and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
13:24 また身の皮にやけどがあって、そのやけどの生きた肉がもし赤みをおびた白、または、ただ白くて光る所となるならば、
13:24 Or if there be any flesh, in the skin whereof there is a hot burning, and the quick flesh that burns have a white bright spot, somewhat reddish, or white;
13:25 祭司はこれを見なければならない。そしてもし、その光る所にある毛が白く変って、そこが皮よりも深く見えるならば、これはやけどに生じたらい病である。祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病の患部だからである。
13:25 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the hair in the bright spot be turned white, and it be in sight deeper than the skin; it is a leprosy broken out of the burning: wherefore the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
13:26 けれども祭司がこれを見て、その光る所に白い毛がなく、また皮よりも低い所がなく、かえって薄らいでいるならば、祭司はその人を七日のあいだ留め置き、
13:26 But if the priest look on it, and, behold, there be no white hair in the bright spot, and it be no lower than the other skin, but be somewhat dark; then the priest shall shut him up seven days:
13:27 七日目に祭司は彼を見なければならない。もし皮に広くひろがっているならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。これはらい病の患部だからである。
13:27 And the priest shall look upon him the seventh day: and if it be spread much abroad in the skin, then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is the plague of leprosy.
13:28 もしその光る所が、その所にとどまって、皮に広がらずに、かえって薄らいでいるならば、これはやけどの腫である。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。これはやけどの跡だからである。
13:28 And if the bright spot stay in his place, and spread not in the skin, but it be somewhat dark; it is a rising of the burning, and the priest shall pronounce him clean: for it is an inflammation of the burning.
13:29 男あるいは女がもし、頭またはあごに患部が生じたならば、
13:29 If a man or woman have a plague upon the head or the beard;
13:30 祭司はその患部を見なければならない。もしそれが皮よりも深く見え、またそこに黄色の細い毛があるならば、祭司はその人を汚れた者としなければならない。それはかいせんであって、頭またはあごのらい病だからである。
13:30 Then the priest shall see the plague: and, behold, if it be in sight deeper than the skin; and there be in it a yellow thin hair; then the priest shall pronounce him unclean: it is a dry scab, even a leprosy upon the head or beard.
13:31 また祭司がそのかいせんの患部を見て、もしそれが皮よりも深く見えず、またそこに黒い毛がないならば、祭司はそのかいせんの患者を七日のあいだ留め置き、
13:31 And if the priest look on the plague of the scab, and, behold, it be not in sight deeper than the skin, and that there is no black hair in it; then the priest shall shut up him that has the plague of the scab seven days:
13:32 七日目に祭司はその患部を見なければならない。そのかいせんがもし広がらず、またそこに黄色の毛がなく、そのかいせんが皮よりも深く見えないならば、
13:32 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the plague: and, behold, if the scab spread not, and there be in it no yellow hair, and the scab be not in sight deeper than the skin;
13:33 その人は身をそらなければならない。ただし、そのかいせんをそってはならない。祭司はそのかいせんのある者をさらに七日のあいだ留め置き、
13:33 He shall be shaven, but the scab shall he not shave; and the priest shall shut up him that has the scab seven days more:
13:34 七日目に祭司はそのかいせんを見なければならない。もしそのかいせんが皮に広がらず、またそれが皮よりも深く見えないならば、祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。その人はまたその衣服を洗わなければならない。そして清くなるであろう。
13:34 And in the seventh day the priest shall look on the scab: and, behold, if the scab be not spread in the skin, nor be in sight deeper than the skin; then the priest shall pronounce him clean: and he shall wash his clothes, and be clean.
13:35 しかし、もし彼が清い者とされた後に、そのかいせんが、皮に広くひろがるならば、
13:35 But if the scab spread much in the skin after his cleansing;
13:36 祭司はその人を見なければならない。もしそのかいせんが皮に広がっているならば、祭司は黄色の毛を捜すまでもなく、その人は汚れた者である。
13:36 Then the priest shall look on him: and, behold, if the scab be spread in the skin, the priest shall not seek for yellow hair; he is unclean.
13:37 しかし、もしそのかいせんの様子に変りなく、そこに黒い毛が生じているならば、そのかいせんは直ったので、その人は清い。祭司はその人を清い者としなければならない。
13:37 But if the scab be in his sight at a stay, and that there is black hair grown up therein; the scab is healed, he is clean: and the priest shall pronounce him clean.
13:38 また男あるいは女がもし、その身の皮に光る所、すなわち白い光る所があるならば、
13:38 If a man also or a woman have in the skin of their flesh bright spots, even white bright spots;
13:39 祭司はこれを見なければならない。もしその身の皮の光る所が、鈍い白であるならば、これはただ白せんがその皮に生じたのであって、その人は清い。
13:39 Then the priest shall look: and, behold, if the bright spots in the skin of their flesh be darkish white; it is a freckled spot that grows in the skin; he is clean.
13:40 人がもしその頭から毛が抜け落ちても、それがはげならば清い。
13:40 And the man whose hair is fallen off his head, he is bald; yet is he clean.
13:41 もしその額の毛が抜け落ちても、それが額のはげならば清い。
13:41 And he that has his hair fallen off from the part of his head toward his face, he is forehead bald: yet is he clean.
13:42 けれども、もしそのはげ頭または、はげ額に赤みをおびた白い患部があるならば、それはそのはげ頭または、はげ額にらい病が発したのである。
13:42 And if there be in the bald head, or bald forehead, a white reddish sore; it is a leprosy sprung up in his bald head, or his bald forehead.
13:43 祭司はこれを見なければならない。もしそのはげ頭または、はげ額の患部の腫が白く赤みをおびて、身の皮にらい病があらわれているならば、
13:43 Then the priest shall look upon it: and, behold, if the rising of the sore be white reddish in his bald head, or in his bald forehead, as the leprosy appears in the skin of the flesh;
13:44 その人はらい病に冒された者であって、汚れた者である。祭司はその人を確かに汚れた者としなければならない。患部が頭にあるからである。
13:44 He is a leprous man, he is unclean: the priest shall pronounce him utterly unclean; his plague is in his head.
13:45 患部のあるらい病人は、その衣服を裂き、その頭を現し、その口ひげをおおって『汚れた者、汚れた者』と呼ばわらなければならない。
13:45 And the leper in whom the plague is, his clothes shall be rent, and his head bare, and he shall put a covering upon his upper lip, and shall cry, Unclean, unclean.
13:46 その患部が身にある日の間は汚れた者としなければならない。その人は汚れた者であるから、離れて住まなければならない。すなわち、そのすまいは宿営の外でなければならない。
13:46 All the days wherein the plague shall be in him he shall be defiled; he is unclean: he shall dwell alone; without the camp shall his habitation be.
13:47 また衣服にらい病の患部が生じた時は、それが羊毛の衣服であれ、亜麻の衣服であれ、
13:47 The garment also that the plague of leprosy is in, whether it be a woolen garment, or a linen garment;
13:48 あるいは亜麻または羊毛の縦糸であれ、横糸であれ、あるいは皮であれ、皮で作ったどのような物であれ、
13:48 Whether it be in the warp, or woof; of linen, or of woolen; whether in a skin, or in any thing made of skin;
13:49 もしその衣服あるいは皮、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいは皮で作ったどのような物であれ、その患部が青みをおびているか、あるいは赤みをおびているならば、これはらい病の患部である。これを祭司に見せなければならない。
13:49 And if the plague be greenish or reddish in the garment, or in the skin, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a plague of leprosy, and shall be showed unto the priest:
13:50 祭司はその患部を見て、その患部のある物を七日のあいだ留め置き、
13:50 And the priest shall look upon the plague, and shut up it that has the plague seven days:
13:51 七日目に患部を見て、もしその衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいは皮、またどのように用いられている皮であれ、患部が広がっているならば、その患部は悪性のらい病であって、それは汚れた物である。
13:51 And he shall look on the plague on the seventh day: if the plague be spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in a skin, or in any work that is made of skin; the plague is a fretting leprosy; it is unclean.
13:52 彼はその患部のある衣服、あるいは羊毛、または亜麻の縦糸、または横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物を焼かなければならない。これは悪性のらい病であるから、その物を火で焼かなければならない。
13:52 He shall therefore burn that garment, whether warp or woof, in woolen or in linen, or any thing of skin, wherein the plague is: for it is a fretting leprosy; it shall be burnt in the fire.
13:53 しかし、祭司がこれを見て、もし患部がその衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物に広がっていないならば、
13:53 And if the priest shall look, and, behold, the plague be not spread in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin;
13:54 祭司は命じて、その患部のある物を洗わせ、さらに七日の間これを留め置かなければならない。
13:54 Then the priest shall command that they wash the thing wherein the plague is, and he shall shut it up seven days more:
13:55 そしてその患部を洗った後、祭司はそれを見て、もし患部の色が変らなければ、患部が広がらなくても、それは汚れた物である。それが表にあっても裏にあっても腐れであるから、それを火で焼かなければならない。
13:55 And the priest shall look on the plague, after that it is washed: and, behold, if the plague have not changed his colour, and the plague be not spread; it is unclean; you shall burn it in the fire; it is fret inward, whether it be bare within or without.
13:56 しかし、祭司がこれを見て、それを洗った後に、その患部が薄らいだならば、その衣服、あるいは皮、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸から、それを切り取らなければならない。
13:56 And if the priest look, and, behold, the plague be somewhat dark after the washing of it; then he shall rend it out of the garment, or out of the skin, or out of the warp, or out of the woof:
13:57 しかし、なおその衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物にそれが現れれば、それは再発したのである。その患部のある物を火で焼かなければならない。
13:57 And if it appear still in the garment, either in the warp, or in the woof, or in any thing of skin; it is a spreading plague: you shall burn that wherein the plague is with fire.
13:58 また洗った衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物から、患部が消え去るならば、再びそれを洗わなければならない。そうすれば清くなるであろう」。
13:58 And the garment, either warp, or woof, or whatsoever thing of skin it be, which you shall wash, if the plague be departed from them, then it shall be washed the second time, and shall be clean.
13:59 これは羊毛または亜麻の衣服、あるいは縦糸、あるいは横糸、あるいはすべて皮で作った物に生じるらい病の患部について、それを清い物とし、または汚れた物とするためのおきてである。
13:59 This is the law of the plague of leprosy in a garment of woolen or linen, either in the warp, or woof, or any thing of skins, to pronounce it clean, or to pronounce it unclean.
14:1 主はまたモーセに言われた、
14:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
14:2 「らい病人が清い者とされる時のおきては次のとおりである。すなわち、その人を祭司のもとに連れて行き、
14:2 This shall be the law of the leper in the day of his cleansing: He shall be brought unto the priest:
14:3 祭司は宿営の外に出て行って、その人を見、もしらい病の患部がいえているならば、
14:3 And the priest shall go forth out of the camp; and the priest shall look, and, behold, if the plague of leprosy be healed in the leper;
14:4 祭司は命じてその清められる者のために、生きている清い小鳥二羽と、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプとを取ってこさせ、
14:4 Then shall the priest command to take for him that is to be cleansed two birds alive and clean, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
14:5 祭司はまた命じて、その小鳥の一羽を、流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺させ、
14:5 And the priest shall command that one of the birds be killed in an earthen vessel over running water:
14:6 そして生きている小鳥を、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプと共に取って、これをかの流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺した小鳥の血に、その生きている小鳥と共に浸し、
14:6 As for the living bird, he shall take it, and the cedar wood, and the scarlet, and the hyssop, and shall dip them and the living bird in the blood of the bird that was killed over the running water:
14:7 これをらい病から清められる者に七たび注いで、その人を清い者とし、その生きている小鳥は野に放たなければならない。
14:7 And he shall sprinkle upon him that is to be cleansed from the leprosy seven times, and shall pronounce him clean, and shall let the living bird loose into the open field.
14:8 清められる者はその衣服を洗い、毛をことごとくそり落し、水に身をすすいで清くなり、その後、宿営にはいることができる。ただし七日の間はその天幕の外にいなければならない。
14:8 And he that is to be cleansed shall wash his clothes, and shave off all his hair, and wash himself in water, that he may be clean: and after that he shall come into the camp, and shall tarry abroad out of his tent seven days.
14:9 そして七日目に毛をことごとくそらなければならい。頭の毛も、ひげも、まゆも、ことごとくそらなければならない。彼はその衣服を洗い、水に身をすすいで清くなるであろう。
14:9 But it shall be on the seventh day, that he shall shave all his hair off his head and his beard and his eyebrows, even all his hair he shall shave off: and he shall wash his clothes, also he shall wash his flesh in water, and he shall be clean.
14:10 八日目にその人は雄の小羊の全きもの二頭と、一歳の雌の小羊の全きもの一頭とを取り、また麦粉十分の三エパに油を混ぜた素祭と、油一ログとを取らなければならない。
14:10 And on the eighth day he shall take two he lambs without blemish, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish, and three tenth deals of fine flour for a food offering, mingled with oil, and one log of oil.
14:11 清めをなす祭司は、清められる人とこれらの物とを、会見の幕屋の入口で主の前に置き、
14:11 And the priest that makes him clean shall present the man that is to be made clean, and those things, before the LORD, at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
14:12 祭司は、かの雄の小羊一頭を取って、これを一ログの油と共に愆祭としてささげ、またこれを主の前に揺り動かして揺祭としなければならない。
14:12 And the priest shall take one he lamb, and offer him for a trespass offering, and the log of oil, and wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
14:13 この雄の小羊は罪祭および燔祭をほふる場所、すなわち聖なる所で、これをほふらなければならない。愆祭は罪祭と同じく、祭司に帰するものであって、いと聖なる物である。
14:13 And he shall slay the lamb in the place where he shall kill the sin offering and the burnt offering, in the holy place: for as the sin offering is the priest's, so is the trespass offering: it is most holy:
14:14 そして祭司はその愆祭の血を取り、これを清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とにつけなければならない。
14:14 And the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and the priest shall put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
14:15 祭司はまた一ログの油を取って、これを自分の左の手のひらに注ぎ、
14:15 And the priest shall take some of the log of oil, and pour it into the palm of his own left hand:
14:16 そして祭司は右の指を左の手のひらにある油に浸し、その指をもって、その油を七たび主の前に注がなければならない。
14:16 And the priest shall dip his right finger in the oil that is in his left hand, and shall sprinkle of the oil with his finger seven times before the LORD:
14:17 祭司は手のひらにある油の残りを、清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とに、さきにつけた愆祭の血の上につけなければならない。
14:17 And of the rest of the oil that is in his hand shall the priest put upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the blood of the trespass offering:
14:18 そして祭司は手のひらになお残っている油を、清められる者の頭につけ、主の前で、その人のためにあがないをしなければならない。
14:18 And the remnant of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall pour upon the head of him that is to be cleansed: and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD.
14:19 また祭司は罪祭をささげて、汚れのゆえに、清められねばならぬ者のためにあがないをし、その後、燔祭のものをほふらなければならない。
14:19 And the priest shall offer the sin offering, and make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed from his uncleanness; and afterward he shall kill the burnt offering:
14:20 そして祭司は燔祭と素祭とを祭壇の上にささげ、その人のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうしてその人は清くなるであろう。
14:20 And the priest shall offer the burnt offering and the food offering upon the altar: and the priest shall make an atonement for him, and he shall be clean.
14:21 その人がもし貧しくて、それに手の届かない時は、自分のあがないのために揺り動かす愆祭として、雄の小羊一頭を取り、また素祭として油を混ぜた麦粉十分の一エパと、油一ログとを取り、
14:21 And if he be poor, and cannot get so much; then he shall take one lamb for a trespass offering to be waved, to make an atonement for him, and one tenth deal of fine flour mingled with oil for a food offering, and a log of oil;
14:22 さらにその手の届く山ばと二羽、または家ばとのひな二羽を取らなければならない。その一つは罪祭のため、他の一つは燔祭のためである。
14:22 And two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, such as he is able to get; and the one shall be a sin offering, and the other a burnt offering.
14:23 そして八日目に、その清めのために会見の幕屋の入口におる祭司のもと、主の前にこれを携えて行かなければならない。
14:23 And he shall bring them on the eighth day for his cleansing unto the priest, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, before the LORD.
14:24 祭司はその愆祭の雄の小羊と、一ログの油とを取り、これを主の前に揺り動かして揺祭としなければならない。
14:24 And the priest shall take the lamb of the trespass offering, and the log of oil, and the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD:
14:25 そして祭司は愆祭の雄の小羊をほふり、その愆祭の血を取って、これを清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とにつけなければならない。
14:25 And he shall kill the lamb of the trespass offering, and the priest shall take some of the blood of the trespass offering, and put it upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot:
14:26 また祭司はその油を自分の左の手のひらに注ぎ、
14:26 And the priest shall pour of the oil into the palm of his own left hand:
14:27 祭司はその右の指をもって、左の手のひらにある油を、七たび主の前に注がなければならない。
14:27 And the priest shall sprinkle with his right finger some of the oil that is in his left hand seven times before the LORD:
14:28 また祭司はその手のひらにある油を、清められる者の右の耳たぶと、右の手の親指と、右の足の親指とに、すなわち、愆祭の血をつけたところにつけなければならない。
14:28 And the priest shall put of the oil that is in his hand upon the tip of the right ear of him that is to be cleansed, and upon the thumb of his right hand, and upon the great toe of his right foot, upon the place of the blood of the trespass offering:
14:29 また祭司は手のひらに残っている油を、清められる者の頭につけ、主の前で、その人のために、あがないをしなければならない。
14:29 And the rest of the oil that is in the priest's hand he shall put upon the head of him that is to be cleansed, to make an atonement for him before the LORD.
14:30 その人はその手の届く山ばと一羽、または家ばとのひな一羽をささげなければならない。
14:30 And he shall offer the one of the turtledoves, or of the young pigeons, such as he can get;
14:31 すなわち、その手の届くものの一つを罪祭とし、他の一つを燔祭として素祭と共にささげなければならない。こうして祭司は清められる者のために、主の前にあがないをするであろう。
14:31 Even such as he is able to get, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, with the food offering: and the priest shall make an atonement for him that is to be cleansed before the LORD.
14:32 これはらい病の患者で、その清めに必要なものに、手の届かない者のためのおきてである」。
14:32 This is the law of him in whom is the plague of leprosy, whose hand is not able to get that which pertains to his cleansing.
14:33 主はまたモーセとアロンに言われた、
14:33 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
14:34 「あなたがたに所有として与えるカナンの地に、あなたがたがはいる時、その所有の地において、家にわたしがらい病の患部を生じさせることがあれば、
14:34 When all of you be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;
14:35 その家の持ち主はきて、祭司に告げ、『患部のようなものが、わたしの家にあります』と言わなければならない。
14:35 And he that owns the house shall come and tell the priest, saying, It seems to me there is as it were a plague in the house:
14:36 祭司は命じて、祭司がその患部を見に行く前に、その家をあけさせ、その家にあるすべての物が汚されないようにし、その後、祭司は、はいってその家を見なければならない。
14:36 Then the priest shall command that they empty the house, before the priest go into it to see the plague, that all that is in the house be not made unclean: and afterward the priest shall go in to see the house:
14:37 その患部を見て、もしその患部が家の壁にあって、青または赤のくぼみをもち、それが壁よりも低く見えるならば、
14:37 And he shall look on the plague, and, behold, if the plague be in the walls of the house with hollow strakes, greenish or reddish, which in sight are lower than the wall;
14:38 祭司はその家を出て、家の入口にいたり、七日の間その家を閉鎖しなければならない。
14:38 Then the priest shall go out of the house to the door of the house, and shut up the house seven days:
14:39 祭司は七日目に、またきてそれを見、その患部がもし家の壁に広がっているならば、
14:39 And the priest shall come again the seventh day, and shall look: and, behold, if the plague be spread in the walls of the house;
14:40 祭司は命じて、その患部のある石を取り出し、町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に捨てさせ、
14:40 Then the priest shall command that they take away the stones in which the plague is, and they shall cast them into an unclean place without the city:
14:41 またその家の内側のまわりを削らせ、その削ったしっくいを町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に捨てさせ、
14:41 And he shall cause the house to be scraped within round about, and they shall pour out the dust that they scrape off without the city into an unclean place:
14:42 ほかの石を取って、元の石のところに入れさせ、またほかのしっくいを取って、家を塗らせなければならない。
14:42 And they shall take other stones, and put them in the place of those stones; and he shall take other mortar, and shall daubed the house.
14:43 このように石を取り出し、家を削り、塗りかえた後に、その患部がもし再び家に出るならば、
14:43 And if the plague come again, and break out in the house, after that he has taken away the stones, and after he has scraped the house, and after it is plaistered;
14:44 祭司はまたきて見なければならない。患部がもし家に広がっているならば、これは家にある悪性のらい病であって、これは汚れた物である。
14:44 Then the priest shall come and look, and, behold, if the plague be spread in the house, it is a fretting leprosy in the house; it is unclean.
14:45 その家は、こぼち、その石、その木、その家のしっくいは、ことごとく町の外の汚れた物を捨てる場所に運び出さなければならない。
14:45 And he shall break down the house, the stones of it, and the timber thereof, and all the mortar of the house; and he shall carry them forth out of the city into an unclean place.
14:46 その家が閉鎖されている日の間に、これにはいる者は夕まで汚れるであろう。
14:46 Moreover he that goes into the house all the while that it is shut up shall be unclean until the even.
14:47 その家に寝る者はその衣服を洗わなければならない。その家で食する者も、その衣服を洗わなければならない。
14:47 And he that lies in the house shall wash his clothes; and he that eats in the house shall wash his clothes.
14:48 しかし、祭司がはいって見て、もし家を塗りかえた後に、その患部が家に広がっていなければ、これはその患部がいえたのであるから、祭司はその家を清いものとしなければならない。
14:48 And if the priest shall come in, and look upon it, and, behold, the plague has not spread in the house, after the house was plaistered: then the priest shall pronounce the house clean, because the plague is healed.
14:49 また彼はその家を清めるために、小鳥二羽と、香柏の木と、緋の糸と、ヒソプとを取り、
14:49 And he shall take to cleanse the house two birds, and cedar wood, and scarlet, and hyssop:
14:50 その小鳥の一羽を流れ水を盛った土の器の上で殺し、
14:50 And he shall kill the one of the birds in an earthen vessel over running water:
14:51 香柏の木と、ヒソプと、緋の糸と、生きている小鳥とを取って、その殺した小鳥の血と流れ水に浸し、これを七たび家に注がなければならない。
14:51 And he shall take the cedar wood, and the hyssop, and the scarlet, and the living bird, and dip them in the blood of the slain bird, and in the running water, and sprinkle the house seven times:
14:52 こうして祭司は小鳥の血と流れ水と、生きている小鳥と、香柏の木と、ヒソプと、緋の糸とをもって家を清め、
14:52 And he shall cleanse the house with the blood of the bird, and with the running water, and with the living bird, and with the cedar wood, and with the hyssop, and with the scarlet:
14:53 その生きている小鳥は町の外の野に放して、その家のために、あがないをしなければならない。こうして、それは清くなるであろう」。
14:53 But he shall let go the living bird out of the city into the open fields, and make an atonement for the house: and it shall be clean.
14:54 これはらい病のすべての患部、かいせん、
14:54 This is the law for all manner of plague of leprosy, and scab,
14:55 および衣服と家のらい病、
14:55 And for the leprosy of a garment, and of a house,
14:56 ならびに腫と、吹出物と、光る所とに関するおきてであって、
14:56 And for a rising, and for a scab, and for a bright spot:
14:57 いつそれが汚れているか、いつそれが清いかを教えるものである。これがらい病に関するおきてである。
14:57 To teach when it is unclean, and when it is clean: this is the law of leprosy.
15:1 主はまた、モーセとアロンに言われた、
15:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and to Aaron, saying,
15:2 「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『だれでもその肉に流出があれば、その流出は汚れである。
15:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When any man has a running issue out of his flesh, because of his issue he is unclean.
15:3 その流出による汚れは次のとおりである。すなわち、その肉の流出が続いていても、あるいは、その肉の流出が止まっていても、共に汚れである。
15:3 And this shall be his uncleanness in his issue: whether his flesh run with his issue, or his flesh be stopped from his issue, it is his uncleanness.
15:4 流出ある者の寝た床はすべて汚れる。またその人のすわった物はすべて汚れるであろう。
15:4 Every bed, whereon he lies that has the issue, is unclean: and every thing, whereon he sits, shall be unclean.
15:5 その床に触れる者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:5 And whosoever touches his bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:6 流出ある者のすわった物の上にすわる者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:6 And he that sits on any thing whereon he sat that has the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:7 流出ある者の肉に触れる者は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:7 And he that touches the flesh of him that has the issue shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:8 流出ある者のつばきが、清い者にかかったならば、その人は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:8 And if he that has the issue spit upon him that is clean; then he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:9 流出ある者の乗った鞍はすべて汚れる。
15:9 And whatever saddle he rides upon that has the issue shall be unclean.
15:10 また彼の下になった物に触れる者は、すべて夕まで汚れるであろう。またそれらの物を運ぶ者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:10 And whosoever touches any thing that was under him shall be unclean until the even: and he that bears any of those things shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:11 流出ある者が、水で手を洗わずに人に触れるならば、その人は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:11 And whomsoever he touches that has the issue, and has not rinsed his hands in water, he shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:12 流出ある者が触れた土の器は砕かなければならない。木の器はすべて水で洗わなければならない。
15:12 And the vessel of earth, that he touches which has the issue, shall be broken: and every vessel of wood shall be rinsed in water.
15:13 流出ある者の流出がやんで清くなるならば、清めのために七日を数え、その衣服を洗い、流れ水に身をすすがなければならない。そうして清くなるであろう。
15:13 And when he that has an issue is cleansed of his issue; then he shall number to himself seven days for his cleansing, and wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in running water, and shall be clean.
15:14 八日目に、山ばと二羽、または家ばとのひな二羽を取って、会見の幕屋の入口に行き、主の前に出て、それを祭司に渡さなければならない。
15:14 And on the eighth day he shall take to him two turtledoves, or two young pigeons, and come before the LORD unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and give them unto the priest:
15:15 祭司はその一つを罪祭とし、他の一つを燔祭としてささげなければならない。こうして祭司はその人のため、その流出のために主の前に、あがないをするであろう。
15:15 And the priest shall offer them, the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for him before the LORD for his issue.
15:16 人がもし精を漏らすことがあれば、その全身を水にすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:16 And if any man's seed of copulation go out from him, then he shall wash all his flesh in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:17 すべて精のついた衣服および皮で作った物は水で洗わなければならない。これは夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:17 And every garment, and every skin, whereon is the seed of copulation, shall be washed with water, and be unclean until the even.
15:18 男がもし女と寝て精を漏らすことがあれば、彼らは共に水に身をすすがなければならない。彼らは夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:18 The woman also with whom man shall lie with seed of copulation, they shall both bathe themselves in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:19 また女に流出があって、その身の流出がもし血であるならば、その女は七日のあいだ不浄である。すべてその女に触れる者は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:19 And if a woman have an issue, and her issue in her flesh be blood, she shall be put apart seven days: and whosoever touches her shall be unclean until the even.
15:20 その不浄の間に、その女の寝た物はすべて汚れる。またその女のすわった物も、すべて汚れるであろう。
15:20 And every thing that she lies upon in her separation shall be unclean: every thing also that she sits upon shall be unclean.
15:21 すべてその女の床に触れる者は、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:21 And whosoever touches her bed shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:22 すべてその女のすわった物に触れる者は皆その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:22 And whosoever touches any thing that she sat upon shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:23 またその女が床の上、またはすわる物の上におる時、それに触れるならば、その人は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:23 And if it be on her bed, or on any thing whereon she sits, when he touches it, he shall be unclean until the even.
15:24 男がもし、その女と寝て、その不浄を身にうけるならば、彼は七日のあいだ汚れるであろう。また彼の寝た床はすべて汚れるであろう。
15:24 And if any man lie with her at all, and her flowers be upon him, he shall be unclean seven days; and all the bed whereon he lies shall be unclean.
15:25 女にもし、その不浄の時のほかに、多くの日にわたって血の流出があるか、あるいはその不浄の時を越して流出があれば、その汚れの流出の日の間は、すべてその不浄の時と同じように、その女は汚れた者である。
15:25 And if a woman have an issue of her blood many days out of the time of her separation, or if it run beyond the time of her separation; all the days of the issue of her uncleanness shall be as the days of her separation: she shall be unclean.
15:26 その流出の日の間に、その女の寝た床は、すべてその女の不浄の時の床と同じようになる。すべてその女のすわった物は、不浄の汚れのように汚れるであろう。
15:26 Every bed whereon she lies all the days of her issue shall be unto her as the bed of her separation: and whatsoever she sits upon shall be unclean, as the uncleanness of her separation.
15:27 すべてこれらの物に触れる人は汚れる。その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れるであろう。
15:27 And whosoever touches those things shall be unclean, and shall wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even.
15:28 しかし、その女の流出がやんで、清くなるならば、自分のために、なお七日を数えなければならない。そして後、清くなるであろう。
15:28 But if she be cleansed of her issue, then she shall number to herself seven days, and after that she shall be clean.
15:29 その女は八日目に山ばと二羽、または家ばとのひな二羽を自分のために取り、それを会見の幕屋の入口におる祭司のもとに携えて行かなければならない。
15:29 And on the eighth day she shall take unto her two turtles, or two young pigeons, and bring them unto the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
15:30 祭司はその一つを罪祭とし、他の一つを燔祭としてささげなければならない。こうして祭司はその女のため、その汚れの流出のために主の前に、あがないをするであろう。
15:30 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering; and the priest shall make an atonement for her before the LORD for the issue of her uncleanness.
15:31 このようにしてあなたがたは、イスラエルの人々を汚れから離さなければならない。これは彼らのうちにあるわたしの幕屋を彼らが汚し、その汚れのために死ぬことのないためである』」。
15:31 Thus shall all of you separate the children of Israel from their uncleanness; that they die not in their uncleanness, when they defile my tabernacle that is among them.
15:32 これは流出ある者、精を漏らして汚れる者、
15:32 This is the law of him that has an issue, and of him whose seed goes from him, and is defiled therewith;
15:33 不浄をわずらう女、ならびに男あるいは女の流出ある者、および不浄の女と寝る者に関するおきてである。
15:33 And of her that is sick of her flowers, and of him that has an issue, of the man, and of the woman, and of him that lies with her that is unclean.
16:1 アロンのふたりの子が、主の前に近づいて死んだ後、
16:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses after the death of the two sons of Aaron, when they offered before the LORD, and died;
16:2 主はモーセに言われた、「あなたの兄弟アロンに告げて、彼が時をわかたず、垂幕の内なる聖所に入り、箱の上なる贖罪所の前に行かぬようにさせなさい。彼が死を免れるためである。なぜなら、わたしは雲の中にあって贖罪所の上に現れるからである。
16:2 And the LORD said unto Moses, Speak unto Aaron your brother, that he comes not at all times into the holy place within the vail before the mercy seat, which is upon the ark; that he die not: for I will appear in the cloud upon the mercy seat.
16:3 アロンが聖所に、はいるには、次のようにしなければならない。すなわち雄の子牛を罪祭のために取り、雄羊を燔祭のために取り、
16:3 Thus shall Aaron come into the holy place: with a young bullock for a sin offering, and a ram for a burnt offering.
16:4 聖なる亜麻布の服を着、亜麻布のももひきをその身にまとい、亜麻布の帯をしめ、亜麻布の帽子をかぶらなければならない。これらは聖なる衣服である。彼は水に身をすすいで、これを着なければならない。
16:4 He shall put on the holy linen coat, and he shall have the linen breeches upon his flesh, and shall be girded with a linen girdle, and with the linen turban shall he be attired: these are holy garments; therefore shall he wash his flesh in water, and so put them on.
16:5 またイスラエルの人々の会衆から雄やぎ二頭を罪祭のために取り、雄羊一頭を燔祭のために取らなければならない。
16:5 And he shall take of the congregation of the children of Israel two kids of the goats for a sin offering, and one ram for a burnt offering.
16:6 そしてアロンは自分のための罪祭の雄牛をささげて、自分と自分の家族のために、あがないをしなければならない。
16:6 And Aaron shall offer his bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and make an atonement for himself, and for his house.
16:7 アロンはまた二頭のやぎを取り、それを会見の幕屋の入口で主の前に立たせ、
16:7 And he shall take the two goats, and present them before the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
16:8 その二頭のやぎのために、くじを引かなければならない。すなわち一つのくじは主のため、一つのくじはアザゼルのためである。
16:8 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scapegoat.
16:9 そしてアロンは主のためのくじに当ったやぎをささげて、これを罪祭としなければならない。
16:9 And Aaron shall bring the goat upon which the LORD's lot fell, and offer him for a sin offering.
16:10 しかし、アザゼルのためのくじに当ったやぎは、主の前に生かしておき、これをもって、あがないをなし、これをアザゼルのために、荒野に送らなければならない。
16:10 But the goat, on which the lot fell to be the scapegoat, shall be presented alive before the LORD, to make an atonement with him, and to let him go for a scapegoat into the wilderness.
16:11 すなわち、アロンは自分のための罪祭の雄牛をささげて、自分と自分の家族のために、あがないをしなければならない。彼は自分のための罪祭の雄牛をほふり、
16:11 And Aaron shall bring the bullock of the sin offering, which is for himself, and shall make an atonement for himself, and for his house, and shall kill the bullock of the sin offering which is for himself:
16:12 主の前の祭壇から炭火を満たした香炉と、細かくひいた香ばしい薫香を両手いっぱい取って、これを垂幕の内に携え入り、
16:12 And he shall take a censer full of burning coals of fire from off the altar before the LORD, and his hands full of sweet incense beaten small, and bring it within the vail:
16:13 主の前で薫香をその火にくべ、薫香の雲に、あかしの箱の上なる贖罪所をおおわせなければならない。こうして、彼は死を免れるであろう。
16:13 And he shall put the incense upon the fire before the LORD, that the cloud of the incense may cover the mercy seat that is upon the testimony, that he die not:
16:14 彼はまたその雄牛の血を取り、指をもってこれを贖罪所の東の面に注ぎ、また指をもってその血を贖罪所の前に、七たび注がなければならない。
16:14 And he shall take of the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it with his finger upon the mercy seat eastward; and before the mercy seat shall he sprinkle of the blood with his finger seven times.
16:15 また民のための罪祭のやぎをほふり、その血を垂幕の内に携え入り、その血をかの雄牛の血のように、贖罪所の上と、贖罪所の前に注ぎ、
16:15 Then shall he kill the goat of the sin offering, that is for the people, and bring his blood within the vail, and do with that blood as he did with the blood of the bullock, and sprinkle it upon the mercy seat, and before the mercy seat:
16:16 イスラエルの人々の汚れと、そのとが、すなわち、彼らのもろもろの罪のゆえに、聖所のためにあがないをしなければならない。また彼らの汚れのうちに、彼らと共にある会見の幕屋のためにも、そのようにしなければならない。
16:16 And he shall make an atonement for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation, that remains among them in the midst of their uncleanness.
16:17 彼が聖所であがないをするために、はいった時は、自分と自分の家族と、イスラエルの全会衆とのために、あがないをなし終えて出るまで、だれも会見の幕屋の内にいてはならない。
16:17 And there shall be no man in the tabernacle of the congregation when he goes in to make an atonement in the holy place, until he comes out, and have made an atonement for himself, and for his household, and for all the congregation of Israel.
16:18 そして彼は主の前の祭壇のもとに出てきて、これがために、あがないをしなければならない、すなわち、かの雄牛の血と、やぎの血とを取って祭壇の四すみの角につけ、
16:18 And he shall go out unto the altar that is before the LORD, and make an atonement for it; and shall take of the blood of the bullock, and of the blood of the goat, and put it upon the horns of the altar round about.
16:19 また指をもって七たびその血をその上に注ぎ、イスラエルの人々の汚れを除いてこれを清くし、聖別しなければならない。
16:19 And he shall sprinkle of the blood upon it with his finger seven times, and cleanse it, and hallow it from the uncleanness of the children of Israel.
16:20 こうして聖所と会見の幕屋と祭壇とのために、あがないをなし終えたとき、かの生きているやぎを引いてこなければならない。
16:20 And when he has made an end of reconciling the holy place, and the tabernacle of the congregation, and the altar, he shall bring the live goat:
16:21 そしてアロンは、その生きているやぎの頭に両手をおき、イスラエルの人々のもろもろの悪と、もろもろのとが、すなわち、彼らのもろもろの罪をその上に告白して、これをやぎの頭にのせ、定めておいた人の手によって、これを荒野に送らなければならない。
16:21 And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:
16:22 こうしてやぎは彼らのもろもろの悪をになって、人里離れた地に行くであろう。すなわち、そのやぎを荒野に送らなければならない。
16:22 And the goat shall bear upon him all their iniquities unto a land not inhabited: and he shall let go the goat in the wilderness.
16:23 そして、アロンは会見の幕屋に入り、聖所に入る時に着た亜麻布の衣服を脱いで、そこに置き、
16:23 And Aaron shall come into the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall put off the linen garments, which he put on when he went into the holy place, and shall leave them there:
16:24 聖なる所で水に身をすすぎ、他の衣服を着、出てきて、自分の燔祭と民の燔祭とをささげて、自分のため、また民のために、あがないをしなければならない。
16:24 And he shall wash his flesh with water in the holy place, and put on his garments, and come forth, and offer his burnt offering, and the burnt offering of the people, and make an atonement for himself, and for the people.
16:25 また罪祭の脂肪を祭壇の上で焼かなければならない。
16:25 And the fat of the sin offering shall he burn upon the altar.
16:26 かのやぎをアザゼルに送った者は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。その後、宿営に入ることができる。
16:26 And he that let go the goat for the scapegoat shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward come into the camp.
16:27 聖所で、あがないをするために、その血を携え入れられた罪祭の雄牛と、罪祭のやぎとは、宿営の外に携え出し、その皮と肉と汚物とは、火で焼き捨てなければならない。
16:27 And the bullock for the sin offering, and the goat for the sin offering, whose blood was brought in to make atonement in the holy place, shall one carry forth without the camp; and they shall burn in the fire their skins, and their flesh, and their dung.
16:28 これを焼く者は衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。その後、宿営に入ることができる。
16:28 And he that burns them shall wash his clothes, and bathe his flesh in water, and afterward he shall come into the camp.
16:29 これはあなたがたが永久に守るべき定めである。すなわち、七月になって、その月の十日に、あなたがたは身を悩まし、何の仕事もしてはならない。この国に生れた者も、あなたがたのうちに宿っている寄留者も、そうしなければならない。
16:29 And this shall be a statute for ever unto you: that in the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, all of you shall afflict your souls, and do no work at all, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger that sojourns among you:
16:30 この日にあなたがたのため、あなたがたを清めるために、あがないがなされ、あなたがたは主の前に、もろもろの罪が清められるからである。
16:30 For on that day shall the priest make an atonement for you, to cleanse you, that all of you may be clean from all your sins before the LORD.
16:31 これはあなたがたの全き休みの安息日であって、あなたがたは身を悩まさなければならない。これは永久に守るべき定めである。
16:31 It shall be a sabbath of rest unto you, and all of you shall afflict your souls, by a statute for ever.
16:32 油を注がれ、父に代って祭司の職に任じられる祭司は、亜麻布の衣服、すなわち、聖なる衣服を着て、あがないをしなければならない。
16:32 And the priest, whom he shall anoint, and whom he shall consecrate to minister in the priest's office in his father's position, shall make the atonement, and shall put on the linen clothes, even the holy garments:
16:33 彼は至聖所のために、あがないをなし、また会見の幕屋のためと、祭壇のために、あがないをなし、また祭司たちのためと、民の全会衆のために、あがないをしなければならない。
16:33 And he shall make an atonement for the holy sanctuary, and he shall make an atonement for the tabernacle of the congregation, and for the altar, and he shall make an atonement for the priests, and for all the people of the congregation.
16:34 これはあなたがたの永久に守るべき定めであって、イスラエルの人々のもろもろの罪のために、年に一度あがないをするものである」。彼は主がモーセに命じられたとおりにおこなった。
16:34 And this shall be an everlasting statute unto you, to make an atonement for the children of Israel for all their sins once a year. And he did as the LORD commanded Moses.
17:1 主はまたモーセに言われた、
17:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
17:2 「アロンとその子たち、およびイスラエルのすべての人々に言いなさい、『主が命じられることはこれである。すなわち
17:2 Speak unto Aaron, and unto his sons, and unto all the children of Israel, and say unto them; This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, saying,
17:3 イスラエルの家のだれでも、牛、羊あるいは、やぎを宿営の内でほふり、または宿営の外でほふり、
17:3 Whosoever there be of the house of Israel, that kills an ox, or lamb, or goat, in the camp, or that kills it out of the camp,
17:4 それを会見の幕屋の入口に携えてきて主の幕屋の前で、供え物として主にささげないならば、その人は血を流した者とみなされる。彼は血を流したゆえ、その民のうちから断たれるであろう。
17:4 And brings it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer an offering unto the LORD before the tabernacle of the LORD; blood shall be imputed unto that man; he has shed blood; and that man shall be cut off from among his people:
17:5 これはイスラエルの人々に、彼らが野のおもてでほふるのを常としていた犠牲を主のもとにひいてこさせ、会見の幕屋の入口におる祭司のもとにきて、これを主にささげる酬恩祭の犠牲としてほふらせるためである。
17:5 To the end that the children of Israel may bring their sacrifices, which they offer in the open field, even that they may bring them unto the LORD, unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, unto the priest, and offer them for peace offerings unto the LORD.
17:6 祭司はその血を会見の幕屋の入口にある主の祭壇に注ぎかけ、またその脂肪を焼いて香ばしいかおりとし、主にささげなければならない。
17:6 And the priest shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar of the LORD at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and burn the fat for a sweet savour unto the LORD.
17:7 彼らが慕って姦淫をおこなったみだらな神に、再び犠牲をささげてはならない。これは彼らが代々ながく守るべき定めである』。
17:7 And they shall no more offer their sacrifices unto devils, after whom they have gone a whoring. This shall be a statute for ever unto them throughout their generations.
17:8 あなたはまた彼らに言いなさい、『イスラエルの家の者、またはあなたがたのうちに宿る寄留者のだれでも、燔祭あるいは犠牲をささげるのに、
17:8 And you shall say unto them, Whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers which sojourn among you, that offers a burnt offering or sacrifice,
17:9 これを会見の幕屋の入口に携えてきて、主にささげないならば、その人は、その民のうちから断たれるであろう。
17:9 And brings it not unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, to offer it unto the LORD; even that man shall be cut off from among his people.
17:10 イスラエルの家の者、またはあなたがたのうちに宿る寄留者のだれでも、血を食べるならば、わたしはその血を食べる人に敵して、わたしの顔を向け、これをその民のうちから断つであろう。
17:10 And whatsoever man there be of the house of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, that eats any manner of blood; I will even set my face against that soul that eats blood, and will cut him off from among his people.
17:11 肉の命は血にあるからである。あなたがたの魂のために祭壇の上で、あがないをするため、わたしはこれをあなたがたに与えた。血は命であるゆえに、あがなうことができるからである。
17:11 For the life of the flesh is in the blood: and I have given it to you upon the altar to make an atonement for your souls: for it is the blood that makes an atonement for the soul.
17:12 このゆえに、わたしはイスラエルの人々に言った。あなたがたのうち、だれも血を食べてはならない。またあなたがたのうちに宿る寄留者も血を食べてはならない。
17:12 Therefore I said unto the children of Israel, No soul of you shall eat blood, neither shall any stranger that sojourns among you eat blood.
17:13 イスラエルの人々のうち、またあなたがたのうちに宿る寄留者のうち、だれでも、食べてもよい獣あるいは鳥を狩り獲た者は、その血を注ぎ出し、土でこれをおおわなければならない。
17:13 And whatsoever man there be of the children of Israel, or of the strangers that sojourn among you, which hunts and catches any beast or fowl that may be eaten; he shall even pour out the blood thereof, and cover it with dust.
17:14 すべて肉の命は、その血と一つだからである。それで、わたしはイスラエルの人々に言った。あなたがたは、どんな肉の血も食べてはならない。すべて肉の命はその血だからである。すべて血を食べる者は断たれるであろう。
17:14 For it is the life of all flesh; the blood of it is for the life thereof: therefore I said unto the children of Israel, All of you shall eat the blood of no manner of flesh: for the life of all flesh is the blood thereof: whosoever eats it shall be cut off.
17:15 自然に死んだもの、または裂き殺されたものを食べる人は、国に生れた者であれ、寄留者であれ、その衣服を洗い、水に身をすすがなければならない。彼は夕まで汚れているが、その後、清くなるであろう。
17:15 And every soul that eats that which died of itself, or that which was torn with beasts, whether it be one of your own country, or a stranger, he shall both wash his clothes, and bathe himself in water, and be unclean until the even: then shall he be clean.
17:16 もし、洗わず、また身をすすがないならば、彼はその罪を負わなければならない』」。
17:16 But if he wash them not, nor bathe his flesh; then he shall bear his iniquity.
18:1 主はまたモーセに言われた、
18:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
18:2 「イスラエルの人々に言いなさい、『わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。
18:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am the LORD your God.
18:3 あなたがたの住んでいたエジプトの国の習慣を見習ってはならない。またわたしがあなたがたを導き入れるカナンの国の習慣を見習ってはならない。また彼らの定めに歩んではならない。
18:3 After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein all of you dwelt, shall all of you not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, where I bring you, shall all of you not do: neither shall all of you walk in their ordinances.
18:4 わたしのおきてを行い、わたしの定めを守り、それに歩まなければならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である。
18:4 All of you shall do my judgments, and keep mine ordinances, to walk therein: I am the LORD your God.
18:5 あなたがたはわたしの定めとわたしのおきてを守らなければならない。もし人が、これを行うならば、これによって生きるであろう。わたしは主である。
18:5 All of you shall therefore keep my statutes, and my judgments: which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am the LORD.
18:6 あなたがたは、だれも、その肉親の者に近づいて、これを犯してはならない。わたしは主である。
18:6 None of you shall approach to any that is near of kin to him, to uncover their nakedness: I am the LORD.
18:7 あなたの母を犯してはならない。それはあなたの父をはずかしめることだからである。彼女はあなたの母であるから、これを犯してはならない。
18:7 The nakedness of your father, or the nakedness of your mother, shall you not uncover: she is your mother; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

18:8 The nakedness of your father's wife shall you not uncover: it is your father's nakedness.

18:10 The nakedness of your son's daughter, or of your daughter's daughter, even their nakedness you shall not uncover: for theirs is yours own nakedness.

18:11 The nakedness of your father's wife's daughter, begotten of your father, she is your sister, you shall not uncover her nakedness.

18:12 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's sister: she is your father's near kinswoman.

18:13 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister: for she is your mother's near kinswoman.

18:14 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your father's brother, you shall not approach to his wife: she is yours aunt.

18:15 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your daughter in law: she is your son's wife; you shall not uncover her nakedness.

18:16 You shall not uncover the nakedness of your brother's wife: it is your brother's nakedness.

18:17 You shall not uncover the nakedness of a woman and her daughter, neither shall you take her son's daughter, or her daughter's daughter, to uncover her nakedness; for they are her near kinswomen: it is wickedness.

18:18 Neither shall you take a wife to her sister, to vex her, to uncover her nakedness, beside the other in her life time.

18:19 Also you shall not approach unto a woman to uncover her nakedness, as long as she is put apart for her uncleanness.
18:20 隣の妻と交わり、彼女によって身を汚してはならない。
18:20 Moreover you shall not lie carnally with your neighbour's wife, to defile yourself with her.
18:21 あなたの子どもをモレクにささげてはならない。またあなたの神の名を汚してはならない。わたしは主である。
18:21 And you shall not let any of your seed pass through the fire to Molech, neither shall you profane the name of your God: I am the LORD.
18:22 あなたは女と寝るように男と寝てはならない。これは憎むべきことである。
18:22 You shall not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
18:23 あなたは獣と交わり、これによって身を汚してはならない。また女も獣の前に立って、これと交わってはならない。これは道にはずれたことである。
18:23 Neither shall you lie with any beast to defile yourself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

18:24 Defile not all of you yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out before you:

18:25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomits out her inhabitants.

18:26 All of you shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourns among you:
18:27 あなたがたの先にいたこの地の人々は、これらのもろもろの憎むべき事を行ったので、その地も汚れたからである。
18:27 (For all these abominations have the men of the land done, which were before you, and the land is defiled;)
18:28 これは、あなたがたがこの地を汚して、この地があなたがたの先にいた民を吐き出したように、あなたがたをも吐き出すことのないためである。
18:28 That the land spew not you out also, when all of you defile it, as it spewed out the nations that were before you.
18:29 これらのもろもろの憎むべき事の一つでも行う者があれば、これを行う人は、だれでもその民のうちから断たれるであろう。
18:29 For whosoever shall commit any of these abominations, even the souls that commit them shall be cut off from among their people.
18:30 それゆえに、あなたがたはわたしの言いつけを守り、先に行われたこれらの憎むべき風習の一つをも行ってはならない。またこれによって身を汚してはならない。わたしはあなたがたの神、主である』」。
18:30 Therefore shall all of you keep mine ordinance, that all of you commit not any one of these abominable customs, which were committed before you, and that all of you defile not yourselves therein: I am the LORD your God.
