109:1 Ó Deus do meu louvor, não te cales;
109:1 Hold not your peace, O God of my praise;
109:2 pois a boca do ímpio e a boca fraudulenta se abrem contra mim; falam contra mim com uma língua mentirosa.
109:2 For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful are opened against me: they have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
109:3 Eles me cercam com palavras de ódio, e pelejam contra mim sem causa.
109:3 They compassed me about also with words of hatred; and fought against me without a cause.
109:4 Em paga do meu amor são meus adversários; mas eu me dedico r oração.
109:4 For my love they are my adversaries: but I give myself unto prayer.
109:5 Retribuem-me o mal pelo bem, e o ódio pelo amor.
109:5 And they have rewarded me evil for good, and hatred for my love.
109:6 Põe sobre ele um ímpio, e esteja r sua direita um acusador.
109:6 Set you a wicked man over him: and let Satan stand at his right hand.
109:7 Quando ele for julgado, saia condenado; e em pecado se lhe torne a sua oração!
109:7 When he shall be judged, let him be condemned: and let his prayer become sin.
109:8 Sejam poucos os seus dias, e outro tome o seu ofício!
109:8 Let his days be few; and let another take his office.
109:9 Fiquem órfãos os seus filhos, e viúva a sua mulher!
109:9 Let his children be fatherless, and his wife a widow.
109:10 Andem errantes os seus filhos, e mendiguem; esmolem longe das suas habitações assoladas.
109:10 Let his children be continually vagabonds, and beg: let them seek their bread also out of their desolate places.
109:11 O credor lance mão de tudo quanto ele tenha, e despojem-no os estranhos do fruto do seu trabalho!
109:11 Let the extortionist catch all that he has; and let the strangers spoil his labour.
109:12 Não haja ninguém que se compadeça dele, nem haja quem tenha pena dos seus órfãos!
109:12 Let there be none to extend mercy unto him: neither let there be any to favour his fatherless children.
109:13 Seja extirpada a sua posteridade; o seu nome seja apagado na geração seguinte!
109:13 Let his posterity be cut off; and in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
109:14 Esteja na memória do Senhor a iniqüidade de seus pais; e não se apague o pecado de sua mãe!
109:14 Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered with the LORD; and let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
109:15 Antes estejam sempre perante o Senhor, para que ele faça desaparecer da terra a memória deles!
109:15 Let them be before the LORD continually, that he may cut off the memory of them from the earth.
109:16 Porquanto não se lembrou de usar de benignidade; antes perseguiu o varão aflito e o necessitado, como também o quebrantado de coração, para o matar.
109:16 Because that he remembered not to show mercy, but persecuted the poor and needy man, that he might even slay the broken in heart.
109:17 Visto que amou a maldição, que ela lhe sobrevenha! Como não desejou a bênção, que ela se afaste dele!
109:17 As he loved cursing, so let it come unto him: as he delighted not in blessing, so let it be far from him.
109:18 Assim como se vestiu de maldição como dum vestido, assim penetre ela nas suas entranhas como água, e em seus ossos como azeite!
109:18 As he clothed himself with cursing like with his garment, so let it come into his bowels like water, and like oil into his bones.
109:19 Seja para ele como o vestido com que ele se cobre, e como o cinto com que sempre anda cingido!
109:19 Let it be unto him as the garment which covers him, and for a girdle wherewith he is girded continually.
109:20 Seja este, da parte do Senhor, o galardão dos meus adversários, e dos que falam mal contra mim!
109:20 Let this be the reward of mine adversaries from the LORD, and of them that speak evil against my soul.
109:21 Mas tu, ó Deus, meu Senhor age em meu favor por amor do teu nome; pois que é boa a tua benignidade, livra-me;
109:21 But do you for me, O GOD the Lord, for your name's sake: because your mercy is good, deliver you me.
109:22 pois sou pobre e necessitado, e dentro de mim está ferido o meu coração.
109:22 For I am poor and needy, and my heart is wounded within me.
109:23 Eis que me vou como a sombra que declina; sou arrebatado como o gafanhoto.
109:23 I am gone like the shadow when it declines: I am tossed up and down as the locust.
109:24 Os meus joelhos estão enfraquecidos pelo jejum, e a minha carne perde a sua gordura.
109:24 My knees are weak through fasting; and my flesh fails of fatness.
109:25 Eu sou para eles objeto de opróbrio; ao me verem, meneiam a cabeça.
109:25 I became also a reproach unto them: when they looked upon me they shook their heads.
109:26 Ajuda-me, Senhor, Deus meu; salva-me segundo a tua benignidade.
109:26 Help me, O LORD my God: O save me according to your mercy:
109:27 Saibam que nisto está a tua mão, e que tu, Senhor, o fizeste.
109:27 That they may know that this is your hand; that you, LORD, have done it.
109:28 Amaldiçoem eles, mas abençoa tu; fiquem confundidos os meus adversários; mas alegre-se o teu servo!
109:28 Let them curse, but bless you: when they arise, let them be ashamed; but let your servant rejoice.
109:29 Vistam-se de ignomínia os meus acusadores, e cubram-se da sua própria vergonha como dum manto!
109:29 Let mine adversaries be clothed with shame, and let them cover themselves with their own confusion, as with a mantle.
109:30 Muitas graças darei ao Senhor com a minha boca;
109:30 I will greatly praise the LORD with my mouth; yea, I will praise him among the multitude.
109:31 Pois ele se coloca r direita do poder, para o salvar dos que o condenam.
109:31 For he shall stand at the right hand of the poor, to save him from those that condemn his soul.

110:1 Disse o Senhor ao meu Senhor: Assenta-te r minha direita, até que eu ponha os teus inimigos por escabelo dos teus pés.
110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you at my right hand, until I make yours enemies your footstool.
110:2 O Senhor enviará de Sião o cetro do teu poder. Domina no meio dos teus inimigos.
110:2 The LORD shall send the rod of your strength out of Zion: rule you in the midst of yours enemies.
110:3 O teu povo apresentar-se-á voluntariamente no dia do teu poder, em trajes santos; como vindo do próprio seio da alva, será o orvalho da tua mocidade.
110:3 Your people shall be willing in the day of your power, in the beauties of holiness from the womb of the morning: you have the dew of your youth.
110:4 Jurou o Senhor, e não se arrependerá: Tu és sacerdote para sempre, segundo a ordem de Melquisedeque.
110:4 The LORD has sworn, and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
110:5 O Senhor, r tua direita, quebrantará reis no dia da sua ira.
110:5 The Lord at your right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.
110:6 Julgará entre as nações; enchê-las-á de cadáveres; quebrantará os cabeças por toda a terra.
110:6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.
110:7 Pelo caminho beberá da corrente, e prosseguirá de cabeça erguida.
110:7 He shall drink of the brook in the way: therefore shall he lift up the head.

111:1 Louvai ao Senhor. De todo o coração darei graças ao Senhor, no concílio dos retos e na congregação.
111:1 Praise all of you the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.
111:2 Grandes são as obras do Senhor, e para serem estudadas por todos os que nelas se comprazem.
111:2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.
111:3 Glória e majestade há em sua obra; e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.
111:3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endures for ever.
111:4 Ele fez memoráveis as suas maravilhas; compassivo e misericordioso é o Senhor.
111:4 He has made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.
111:5 Dá mantimento aos que o temem; lembra-se sempre do seu pacto.
111:5 He has given food unto them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.
111:6 Mostrou ao seu povo o poder das suas obras, dando-lhe a herança das nações.
111:6 He has showed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.
111:7 As obras das suas mãos são verdade e justiça; fiéis são todos os seus preceitos;
111:7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
111:8 firmados estão para todo o sempre; são feitos em verdade e retidão.
111:8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.
111:9 Enviou ao seu povo a redenção; ordenou para sempre o seu pacto; santo e tremendo é o seu nome.
111:9 He sent redemption unto his people: he has commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
111:10 O temor do Senhor é o princípio da sabedoria; têm bom entendimento todos os que cumprem os seus preceitos; o seu louvor subsiste para sempre.
111:10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endures for ever.

112:1 Louvai ao Senhor. Bem-aventurado o homem que teme ao Senhor, que em seus mandamentos tem grande prazer!
112:1 Praise all of you the LORD. Blessed is the man that fears the LORD, that delights greatly in his commandments.
112:2 A sua descendência será poderosa na terra; a geração dos retos será abençoada.
112:2 His seed shall be mighty upon earth: the generation of the upright shall be blessed.
112:3 Bens e riquezas há na sua casa; e a sua justiça permanece para sempre.
112:3 Wealth and riches shall be in his house: and his righteousness endures for ever.
112:4 Aos retos nasce luz nas trevas; ele é compassivo, misericordioso e justo.
112:4 Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness: he is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous.
112:5 Ditoso é o homem que se compadece, e empresta, que conduz os seus negócios com justiça;
112:5 A good man shows favour, and lends: he will guide his affairs with discretion.
112:6 pois ele nunca será abalado; o justo ficará em memória eterna.
112:6 Surely he shall not be moved for ever: the righteous shall be in everlasting remembrance.
112:7 Ele não teme más notícias; o seu coração está firme, confiando no Senhor.
112:7 He shall not be afraid of evil tidings: his heart is fixed, trusting in the LORD.
112:8 O seu coração está bem firmado, ele não terá medo, até que veja cumprido o seu desejo sobre os seus adversários.
112:8 His heart is established, he shall not be afraid, until he see his desire upon his enemies.
112:9 Espalhou, deu aos necessitados; a sua justiça subsiste para sempre; o seu poder será exaltado em honra.
112:9 He has dispersed, he has given to the poor; his righteousness endures for ever; his horn shall be exalted with honour.
112:10 O ímpio vê isto e se enraivece; range os dentes e se consome; o desejo dos ímpios perecerá.
112:10 The wicked shall see it, and be grieved; he shall gnash with his teeth, and melt away: the desire of the wicked shall perish.

113:3 Desde o nascimento do sol até o seu ocaso, há de ser louvado o nome do Senhor.
113:3 From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD's name is to be praised.
113:4 Exaltado está o Senhor acima de todas as nações, e a sua glória acima dos céus.
113:4 The LORD is high above all nations, and his glory above the heavens.
113:5 Quem é semelhante ao Senhor nosso Deus, que tem o seu assento nas alturas,
113:5 Who is like unto the LORD our God, who dwells on high,
113:6 que se inclina para ver o que está no céu e na terra?
113:6 Who humbles himself to behold the things that are in heaven, and in the earth!
113:7 Ele levanta do pó o pobre, e do monturo ergue o necessitado,
113:7 He raises up the poor out of the dust, and lifts the needy out of the dunghill;
113:8 para o fazer sentar com os príncipes, sim, com os príncipes do seu povo.
113:8 That he may set him with princes, even with the princes of his people.
113:9 Ele faz com que a mulher estéril habite em família, e seja alegre mãe de filhos. Louvai ao Senhor.
113:9 He makes the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. Praise all of you the LORD.

114:1 When Israel went out of Egypt, the house of Jacob from a people of strange language;
114:2 Judá tornou-lhe o santuário, e Israel o seu domínio.
114:2 Judah was his sanctuary, and Israel his dominion.
114:3 O mar viu isto, e fugiu; o Jordão tornou atrás.
114:3 The sea saw it, and fled: Jordan was driven back.
114:4 Os montes saltaram como carneiros, e os outeiros como cordeiros do rebanho.
114:4 The mountains skipped like rams, and the little hills like lambs.
114:5 Que tens tu, ó mar, para fugires? e tu, ó Jordão, para tornares atrás?
114:5 What ailed you, O you sea, that you fled? you Jordan, that you were driven back?

114:6 All of you mountains, that all of you skipped like rams; and all of you little hills, like lambs?

115:1 Not unto us, O LORD, not unto us, but unto your name give glory, for your mercy, and for your truth's sake.
115:2 Por que perguntariam as nações: Onde está o seu Deus?
115:2 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is now their God?
115:3 Mas o nosso Deus está nos céus; ele faz tudo o que lhe apraz.
115:3 But our God is in the heavens: he has done whatsoever he has pleased.
115:4 Os ídolos deles são prata e ouro, obra das mãos do homem.
115:4 Their idols are silver and gold, the work of men's hands.
115:5 Têm boca, mas não falam; têm olhos, mas não vêem;
115:5 They have mouths, but they speak not: eyes have they, but they see not:

116:2 Because he has inclined his ear unto me, therefore will I call upon him as long as I live.
116:3 Os laços da morte me cercaram; as angústias do Seol se apoderaram de mim; sofri tribulação e tristeza.
116:3 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the pains of hell got hold upon me: I found trouble and sorrow.
116:4 Então invoquei o nome do Senhor, dizendo:Ó Senhor, eu te rogo, livra-me.
116:4 Then called I upon the name of the LORD; O LORD, I plead to you, deliver my soul.
116:5 Compassivo é o Senhor, e justo; sim, misericordioso é o nosso Deus.
116:5 Gracious is the LORD, and righteous; yea, our God is merciful.
116:6 O Senhor guarda os simples; quando me acho abatido, ele me salva.
116:6 The LORD perserves the simple: I was brought low, and he helped me.

116:7 Return unto your rest, O my soul; for the LORD has dealt bountifully with you.

118:15 The voice of rejoicing and salvation is in the tabernacles of the righteous: the right hand of the LORD does valiantly.

119:1 Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the law of the LORD.
119:2 Bem-aventurados os que guardam os seus testemunhos, que o buscam de todo o coração,
119:2 Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.
119:3 que não praticam iniqüidade, mas andam nos caminhos dele!
119:3 They also do no iniquity: they walk in his ways.
119:4 Tu ordenaste os teus preceitos, para que fossem diligentemente observados.
119:4 You have commanded us to keep your precepts diligently.
119:5 Oxalá sejam os meus caminhos dirigidos de maneira que eu observe os teus estatutos!
119:5 O that my ways were directed to keep your statutes!
119:6 Então não ficarei confundido, atentando para todos os teus mandamentos.
119:6 Then shall I not be ashamed, when I have respect unto all your commandments.
119:7 Louvar-te-ei com retidão de coração, quando tiver aprendido as tuas retas ordenanças.

119:22 Remove from me reproach and contempt; for I have kept your testimonies.
119:23 Príncipes sentaram-se e falavam contra mim, mas o teu servo meditava nos teus estatutos.
119:23 Princes also did sit and speak against me: but your servant did meditate in your statutes.

119:38 Confirma a tua promessa ao teu servo, que se inclina ao teu temor.
119:38 Establish your word unto your servant, who is devoted to your fear.
119:39 Desvia de mim o opróbrio que temo, pois as tuas ordenanças são boas.
119:39 Turn away my reproach which I fear: for your judgments are good.
119:40 Eis que tenho anelado os teus preceitos; vivifica-me por tua justiça.
119:40 Behold, I have longed after your precepts: restore life in me in your righteousness.
119:41 Venha também sobre mim a tua benignidade, ó Senhor, e a tua salvação, segundo a tua palavra.

137:3 For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us delight, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.

139:16 Yours eyes did see my substance, yet being imperfect; and in your book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.
139:17 E quão preciosos me são, ó Deus, os teus pensamentos! Quão grande é a soma deles!
139:17 How precious also are your thoughts unto me, O God! how great is the sum of them!
139:18 Se eu os contasse, seriam mais numerosos do que a areia; quando acordo ainda estou contigo.
139:18 If I should count them, they are more in number than the sand: when I awake, I am still with you.

141:2 Let my prayer be set forth before you as incense; and the lifting up of my hands as the evening sacrifice.
141:3 Põe, ó Senhor, uma guarda r minha boca; vigia a porta dos meus lábios!
141:3 Set a watch, O LORD, before my mouth; keep the door of my lips.
141:4 Não inclines o meu coração para o mal, nem para se ocupar de coisas más, com aqueles que praticam a iniqüidade; e não coma eu das suas gulodices!
141:4 Incline not my heart to any evil thing, to practice wicked works with men that work iniquity: and let me not eat of their dainties.
141:5 Fira-me o justo, será isso uma benignidade; e repreenda-me, isso será como óleo sobre a minha cabeça; não o recuse a minha cabeça; mas continuarei a orar contra os feitos dos ímpios.
141:5 Let the righteous strike me; it shall be a kindness: and let him reprove me; it shall be an excellent oil, which shall not break my head: for yet my prayer also shall be in their calamities.
141:6 Quando os seus juízes forem arremessados duma penha abaixo, saberão que as palavras do Senhor são verdadeiras.
141:6 When their judges are overthrown in stony places, they shall hear my words; for they are sweet.

141:7 Our bones are scattered at the grave's mouth, as when one cuts and cleaves wood upon the earth.

141:8 But mine eyes are unto you, O GOD the Lord: in you is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.

144:12 Sejam os nossos filhos, na sua mocidade, como plantas bem desenvolvidas, e as nossas filhas como pedras angulares lavradas, como as de um palácio.
144:12 That our sons may be as plants grown up in their youth; that our daughters may be as corner stones, polished after the embodiment of a palace:
144:13 Estejam repletos os nossos celeiros, fornecendo toda sorte de provisões; as nossas ovelhas produzam a milhares e a dezenas de milhares em nosos campos;
144:13 That our garners may be full, affording all manner of store: that our sheep may bring forth thousands and ten thousands in our streets:
144:14 os nossos bois levem ricas cargas; e não haja assaltos, nem sortidas, nem clamores em nossas ruas!
144:14 That our oxen may be strong to labour; that there be no breaking in, nor going out; that there be no complaining in our streets.

145:6 And men shall speak of the might of your terrible acts: and I will declare your greatness.

145:7 They shall abundantly utter the memory of your great goodness, and shall sing of your righteousness.

145:8 The LORD is gracious, and full of compassion; slow to anger, and of great mercy.

145:9 The LORD is good to all: and his tender mercies are over all his works.

147:8 Who covers the heaven with clouds, who prepares rain for the earth, who makes grass to grow upon the mountains.
