1:1 Слово Господне, которое было к Иоилю, сыну Вафуила.
1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
1:2 Слушайте это, старцы, и внимайте, все жители земли сей: бывало литакое во дни ваши, или во дни отцов ваших?
1:2 Hear this, all of you old men, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the land. Has this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
1:3 Передайте об этом детям вашим; а дети ваши пусть скажут своим детям, а их дети следующему роду:
1:3 Tell all of you your children of it, and let your children tell their children, and their children another generation.
1:4 оставшееся от гусеницы ела саранча, оставшееся от саранчи ели черви, а оставшееся от червей доели жуки.
1:4 That which the palmerworm has left has the locust eaten; and that which the locust has left has the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm has left has the caterpillar eaten.
1:5 Пробудитесь, пьяницы, и плачьте и рыдайте, все пьющие вино, о виноградном соке, ибо он отнят от уст ваших!
1:5 Awake, all of you drunkards, and weep; and wail, all you drinkers of wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
1:6 Ибо пришел на землю Мою народ сильный и бесчисленный; зубы у него – зубы львиные, и челюсти у него – как у львицы.
1:6 For a nation has come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the cheek teeth of a great lion.
1:7 Опустошил он виноградную лозу Мою, и смоковницу Мою обломал, ободрал ее догола, и бросил; сделались белыми ветви ее.
1:7 He has laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he has made it clean bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
1:8 Рыдай, как молодая жена, препоясавшись вретищем , о муже юности своей!
1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
1:9 Прекратилось хлебное приношение и возлияние в доме Господнем; плачут священники, служители Господни.
1:9 The food offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn.
1:10 Опустошено поле, сетует земля; ибо истреблен хлеб, высох виноградный сок, завяла маслина.
1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourns; for the corn is wasted: the new wine is dried up, the oil languishes.
1:11 Краснейте от стыда, земледельцы, рыдайте, виноградари, о пшенице и ячмене, потому что погибла жатва в поле,
1:11 Be all of you ashamed, O all of you husbandmen; wail, O all of you vinedressers, for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
1:12 засохла виноградная лоза и смоковница завяла; гранатовое дерево, пальма и яблоня, все дерева в поле посохли;потому и веселье у сынов человеческих исчезло.
1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree, the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
1:13 Препояшьтесь вретищем и плачьте, священники! рыдайте, служители алтаря! войдите, ночуйте во вретищах, служители Бога моего! ибо не стало в доме Бога вашего хлебного приношения и возлияния.
1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, all of you priests: wail, all of you ministers of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, all of you ministers of my God: for the food offering and the drink offering is withheld from the house of your God.
1:14 Назначьте пост, объявите торжественное собрание,созовите старцев и всех жителей страны сей в дом Господа Бога вашего, ивзывайте к Господу.
1:14 Sanctify all of you a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD,
1:15 О, какой день! ибо день Господень близок; как опустошение от Всемогущего придет он.
1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come.
1:16 Не пред нашими ли глазами отнимается пища, от дома Бога нашего – веселье и радость?
1:16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God?
1:17 Истлели зерна под глыбами своими, опустели житницы, разрушены кладовые, ибо не стало хлеба.
1:17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
1:18 Как стонет скот! уныло ходят стада волов, ибо нет для них пажити;томятся и стада овец.
1:18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
1:19 К Тебе, Господи, взываю; ибо огонь пожрал злачные пастбища пустыни, и пламя попалило все дерева в поле.
1:19 O LORD, to you will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.
1:20 Даже и животные на поле взывают к Тебе, потому что иссохли потоки вод, и огонь истребил пастбища пустыни.
1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto you: for the rivers of waters are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
2:1 Трубите трубою на Сионе и бейте тревогу на святой горе Моей; да трепещут все жители земли, ибо наступает день Господень, ибо он близок –
2:1 Blow all of you the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD comes, for it is nigh at hand;
2:2 день тьмы и мрака, день облачный и туманный: как утренняя заря распространяется по горам народ многочисленный и сильный, какого не бывало от века и после того не будет в роды родов.
2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
2:3 Перед ним пожирает огонь, а за ним палит пламя; перед ним земля как сад Едемский, а позади него будет опустошенная степь, и никому не будет спасения от него.
2:3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
2:4 Вид его как вид коней, и скачут они как всадники;
2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
2:5 скачут по вершинам гор как бы со стуком колесниц, как бы с треском огненного пламени, пожирающего солому, как сильный народ, выстроенный к битве.
2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
2:6 При виде его затрепещут народы, у всех лица побледнеют.
2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
2:7 Как борцы бегут они и как храбрые воины влезают на стену, и каждый идет своею дорогою, и не сбивается с путей своих.
2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
2:8 Не давят друг друга, каждый идет своею стезею, и падают на копья, но остаются невредимы.
2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
2:9 Бегают по городу, поднимаются на стены, влезают на дома, входят в окна, как вор.
2:9 They shall run back and forth in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
2:10 Перед ними потрясется земля, поколеблется небо; солнце и луна помрачатся, и звезды потеряют свой свет.
2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
2:11 И Господь даст глас Свой пред воинством Своим, ибо весьма многочисленно полчище Его и могуществен исполнитель слова Его; ибо велик день Господеньи весьма страшен, и кто выдержит его?
2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
2:12 Но и ныне еще говорит Господь: обратитесь ко Мне всем сердцем своим в посте, плаче и рыдании.
2:12 Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn all of you even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
2:13 Раздирайте сердца ваши, а не одежды ваши, и обратитесь к Господу Богу вашему; ибо Он благ и милосерд, долготерпелив и многомилостив и сожалеет о бедствии.
2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repents him of the evil.
2:14 Кто знает, не сжалится ли Он, и не оставит либлагословения, хлебного приношения и возлияния Господу Богу вашему?
2:14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind him; even a food offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
2:15 Вострубите трубою на Сионе, назначьте пост и объявите торжественное собрание.
2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
2:16 Соберите народ, созовите собрание, пригласите старцев, соберите отроков и грудных младенцев; пусть выйдет жених из чертога своего и невеста из своей горницы.
2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go out of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
2:17 Между притвором и жертвенником да плачут священники, служители Господни, и говорят: „пощади, Господи, народ Твой, не предай наследия Твоего напоругание, чтобы не издевались над ним народы; для чего будут говорить между народами: где Бог их?"
2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not yours heritage to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say among the people, Where is their God?
2:18 И тогда возревнует Господь о земле Своей, и пощадит народ Свой.
2:18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
2:19 И ответит Господь, и скажет народу Своему: вот, Я пошлю вам хлеб и вино и елей, и будете насыщаться ими, и более не отдам вас на поругание народам.
2:19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send you corn, and wine, and oil, and all of you shall be satisfied therewith: and I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
2:20 И пришедшего от севера удалю от вас, и изгоню в землю безводную и пустую, переднее полчище его – в море восточное, а заднее – в море западное, и пойдет от негозловоние, и поднимется от него смрад, так как он много наделал зла .
2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his ill savour shall come up, because he has done great things.
2:21 Не бойся, земля: радуйся и веселись, ибо Господь велик, чтобы совершить это.
2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
2:22 Не бойтесь, животные, ибо пастбища пустыни произрастят траву, дерево принесет плод свой, смоковница и виноградная лоза окажут свою силу.
2:22 Be not afraid, all of you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine do yield their strength.
2:23 И вы, чада Сиона, радуйтесь и веселитесь о Господе Боге вашем; ибоОн даст вам дождь в меру и будет ниспосылать вам дождь, дождь ранний и поздний, как прежде.
2:23 Be glad then, all of you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
2:24 И наполнятся гумна хлебом, и переполнятся подточилия виноградным соком и елеем.
2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with wine and oil.
2:25 И воздам вам за те годы, которые пожирали саранча, черви, жуки игусеница, великое войско Мое, которое послал Я на вас.
2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
2:26 И до сытости будете есть и насыщаться и славить имя Господа Бога вашего, Который дивное соделал с вами, и непосрамится народ Мой во веки.
2:26 And all of you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:27 И узнаете, что Я посреди Израиля, и Я – Господь Бог ваш, и нет другого, и Мой народне посрамится вовеки.
2:27 And all of you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:28 И будет после того, излию от Духа Моего на всякую плоть, и будутпророчествовать сыны ваши и дочери ваши; старцам вашим будут сниться сны, и юноши ваши будут видеть видения.
2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
2:29 И также на рабов и на рабынь в те дни излию от Духа Моего.
2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit.
2:30 И покажу знамения на небе и на земле: кровь и огонь и столпы дыма.
2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
2:31 Солнце превратится во тьму и луна – в кровь, прежде нежели наступит день Господень, великий и страшный.
2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
2:32 И будет: всякий, кто призовет имя Господне, спасется; ибо на горе Сионе и в Иерусалиме будет спасение, как сказал Господь, и у остальных, которых призовет Господь.
2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
3:1 Ибо вот, в те дни и в то самое время, когда Я возвращу плен Иуды и Иерусалима,
3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
3:2 Я соберу все народы, и приведу их в долину Иосафата, и там произведу над ними суд за народ Мой и за наследие Мое, Израиля, который они рассеяли между народами, и землю Мою разделили.
3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3:3 И о народе Моем они бросали жребий, и отдавали отрока за блудницу, и продавали отроковицу за вино, и пили.
3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot, and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
3:4 И что вы Мне, Тир и Сидон и все округи Филистимские? Хотите ли воздать Мне возмездие? хотите ли воздать Мне? Легко и скоро Я обращу возмездие ваше на головы ваши,
3:4 Yea, and what have all of you to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all the coasts of Palestine? will all of you render me a recompence? and if all of you recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon your own head;
3:5 потому что вы взяли серебро Мое и золото Мое, и наилучшие драгоценности Мои внесли в капища ваши,
3:5 Because all of you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
3:6 и сынов Иуды и сынов Иерусалима продавали сынам Еллинов, чтобыудалить их от пределов их.
3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have all of you sold unto the Grecians, that all of you might remove them far from their border.
3:7 Вот, Я подниму их из того места, куда вы продали их, и обращу мздувашу на голову вашу.
3:7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place where all of you have sold them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
3:8 И предам сыновей ваших и дочерей ваших в руки сынов Иуды, и они продадут их Савеям, народу отдаленному; так Господь сказал.
3:8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for the LORD has spoken it.
3:9 Провозгласите об этом между народами, приготовьтесь к войне, возбудите храбрых; пусть выступят, поднимутся все ратоборцы.
3:9 Proclaim all of you this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
3:10 Перекуйте орала ваши на мечи и серпы ваши на копья; слабый пусть говорит: „я силен".
3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.
3:11 Спешите и сходитесь, все народы окрестные, и соберитесь; туда,Господи, веди Твоих героев.
3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause your mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
3:12 Пусть воспрянут народы и низойдут в долину Иосафата; ибо там Я воссяду, чтобы судить все народы отовсюду.
3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
3:13 Пустите в дело серпы, ибо жатва созрела; идите, спуститесь, ибо точило полно и подточилия переливаются, потому что злоба их велика.
3:13 Put all of you in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the wine-vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.
3:14 Толпы, толпы в долине суда! ибо близок день Господень к долинесуда!
3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the LORD is near in the valley of decision.
3:15 Солнце и луна померкнут и звезды потеряют блеск свой.
3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.
3:16 И возгремит Господь с Сиона, и даст глас Свой из Иерусалима;содрогнутся небо и земля; но Господь будет защитою для народа Своего и обороною для сынов Израилевых.
3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
3:17 Тогда узнаете, что Я Господь Бог ваш, обитающий на Сионе, на святой горе Моей; и будет Иерусалим святынею, и не будут уже иноплеменники проходить через него.
3:17 So shall all of you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.
3:18 И будет в тот день: горы будут капать вином и холмы потекут молоком, и все русла Иудейские наполнятся водою, а из дома Господня выйдет источник, и будет напоять долину Ситтим.
3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
3:19 Египет сделается пустынею и Едом будет пустою степью – за то, что они притесняли сынов Иудиных и проливали невинную кровь в земле их.
3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness, for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent blood in their land.
3:20 А Иуда будет жить вечно и Иерусалим – в роды родов.
3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
3:21 Я смою кровь их, которую не смыл еще, и Господь будет обитать на Сионе.
3:21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD dwells in Zion.
