1:1 О том, что было от начала, что мы слышали, что видели своими очами, что рассматривали и что осязали руки наши, о Слове жизни, –
1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word (o. logos) of life;
1:2 ибо жизнь явилась, и мы видели и свидетельствуем, и возвещаем вам сию вечную жизнь, которая была у Отца и явилась нам, –
1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and show unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
1:3 о том, что мы видели и слышали, возвещаем вам, чтобы и вы имели общение с нами: а наше общение – с Отцем и Сыном Его, Иисусом Христом.
1:3 That which we have seen and heard declare we unto you, that all of you also may have fellowship with us: and truly our fellowship is with the Father, and with his Son Jesus Christ.
1:4 И сие пишем вам, чтобы радость ваша была совершенна.
1:4 And these things write we unto you, that your joy may be full.
1:5 И вот благовестие, которое мы слышали от Него и возвещаем вам: Бог есть свет, и нет в Нем никакой тьмы.
1:5 This then is the message which we have heard of him, and declare unto you, that God is light, and in him is no darkness at all.
1:6 Если мы говорим, что имеем общение с Ним, а ходим во тьме, то мы лжем и не поступаем поистине;
1:6 If we say that we have fellowship with him, and walk in darkness, we lie, and do not the truth:
1:7 если же ходим во свете, подобно как Он во свете, то имеем общение друг с другом, и Кровь Иисуса Христа, Сына Его, очищает нас от всякого греха.
1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanses us from all sin.
1:8 Если говорим, что не имеем греха, – обманываем самих себя, и истины нет в нас.
1:8 If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us.
1:9 Если исповедуем грехи наши, то Он, будучи верен иправеден, простит нам грехи наши и очистит нас от всякой неправды.
1:9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1:10 Если говорим, что мы не согрешили, то представляемЕго лживым, и слова Его нет в нас.
1:10 If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word (o. logos) is not in us.
2:1 Дети мои! сие пишу вам, чтобы вы не согрешали; а если бы кто согрешил, то мы имеем ходатая пред Отцем, Иисуса Христа, праведника;
2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that all of you sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:
2:2 Он есть умилостивление за грехи наши, и не только за наши, но и за грехи всего мира.
2:2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for our's only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
2:3 А что мы познали Его, узнаем из того, что соблюдаем Его заповеди.
2:3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
2:4 Кто говорит: „я познал Его", но заповедей Его не соблюдает, тот лжец, и нет в нем истины;
2:4 He that says, I know him, and keeps not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.
2:5 а кто соблюдает слово Его, в том истинно любовь Божия совершилась: из сего узнаем, что мы в Нем.
2:5 But whoso keeps his word, (o. logos) in him verily is the love (o. agape) of God perfected: hereby know we that we are in him.
2:6 Кто говорит, что пребывает в Нем, тот должен поступать так, как Он поступал.
2:6 He that says he abides in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked.
2:7 Возлюбленные! пишу вам не новую заповедь, но заповедьдревнюю, которую вы имели от начала. Заповедь древняя естьслово, которое вы слышали от начала.
2:7 Brethren, I write no new commandment unto you, but an old commandment which all of you had from the beginning. The old commandment is the word (o. logos) which all of you have heard from the beginning.
2:8 Но притом и новую заповедь пишу вам, что есть истинно и в Нем и в вас: потому что тьма проходит и истинный свет уже светит.
2:8 Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines.
2:9 Кто говорит, что он во свете, а ненавидит брата своего, тот еще во тьме.
2:9 He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now.
2:10 Кто любит брата своего, тот пребывает во свете, и нет в нем соблазна.
2:10 He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him.
2:11 А кто ненавидит брата своего, тот находится во тьме, и во тьме ходит, и не знает, куда идет, потому что тьма ослепила ему глаза.
2:11 But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not where he goes, because that darkness has blinded his eyes.
2:12 Пишу вам, дети, потому что прощены вам грехи ради имени Его.
2:12 I write unto you, little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name's sake.
2:13 Пишу вам, отцы, потому что вы познали Сущего от начала. Пишу вам, юноши, потому что вы победили лукавого. Пишу вам, отроки, потому что вы познали Отца.
2:13 I write unto you, fathers, because all of you have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, young men, because all of you have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because all of you have known the Father.
2:14 Я написал вам, отцы, потому что вы познали Безначального. Я написал вам, юноши, потому что вы сильны, и слово Божие пребывает в вас, и вы победили лукавого.
2:14 I have written unto you, fathers, because all of you have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because all of you are strong, and the word (o. logos) of God abides in you, and all of you have overcome the wicked one.
2:15 Не любите мира, ни того, что в мире: кто любит мир, в том нет любви Отчей.
2:15 Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love (o. agape) of the Father is not in him.
2:16 Ибо все, что в мире: похоть плоти, похоть очей и гордость житейская, не есть от Отца, но от мира сего.
2:16 For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.
2:17 И мир проходит, и похоть его, а исполняющий волю Божию пребывает вовек.
2:17 And the world passes away, and the lust thereof: but he that does the will of God abides for ever.
2:18 Дети! последнее время. И как вы слышали, что придет антихрист, и теперь появилось много антихристов, то мы и познаем из того, что последнее время.
2:18 Little children, it is the last time: and as all of you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time.
2:19 Они вышли от нас, но не были наши: ибо если бы они были наши, то остались бы с нами; но они вышли, и через то открылось, что не все наши.
2:19 They went out from us, but they were not of us; for if they had been of us, they would no doubt have continued with us: but they went out, that they might be made manifest that they were not all of us.
2:20 Впрочем, вы имеете помазание от Святаго и знаете все.
2:20 But all of you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know all things.
2:21 Я написал вам не потому, чтобы вы не знали истины, но потому, что вы знаете ее, равно как и то, что всякая ложь не от истины.
2:21 I have not written unto you because all of you know not the truth, but because all of you know it, and that no lie is of the truth.
2:22 Кто лжец, если не тот, кто отвергает, что Иисус есть Христос? Это антихрист, отвергающий Отца и Сына.
2:22 Who is a liar but he that denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that denies the Father and the Son.
2:23 Всякий, отвергающий Сына, не имеет и Отца; а исповедующий Сына имеет и Отца.
2:23 Whosoever denies the Son, the same has not the Father: he that acknowledges the Son has the Father also.
2:24 Итак, что вы слышали от начала, то и да пребывает в вас; если пребудет в вас то, что вы слышали от начала, то и вы пребудете в Сыне и в Отце.
2:24 Let that therefore abide in you, which all of you have heard from the beginning. If that which all of you have heard from the beginning shall remain in you, all of you also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father.
2:25 Обетование же, которое Он обещал нам, есть жизнь вечная.
2:25 And this is the promise that he has promised us, even eternal life.
2:26 Это я написал вам об обольщающих вас.
2:26 These things have I written unto you concerning them that seduce you.
2:27 Впрочем, помазание, которое вы получили от Него, в вас пребывает, и вы не имеете нужды, чтобы кто учил вас; но как самое сие помазание учит вас всему, и оно истинно и неложно, то, чему ононаучило вас, в том пребывайте.
2:27 But the anointing which all of you have received of him abides in you, and all of you need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teaches you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it has taught you, all of you shall abide in him.
2:28 Итак, дети, пребывайте в Нем, чтобы, когда Он явится, иметь нам дерзновение и не постыдиться пред Ним в пришествие Его.
2:28 And now, little children, abide in him; that, when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming.
2:29 Если вы знаете, что Он праведник, знайте и то, что всякий, делающий правду, рожден от Него.
2:29 If all of you know that he is righteous, all of you know that every one that does righteousness is born of him.
3:1 Смотрите, какую любовь дал нам Отец, чтобы нам называться и быть детьми Божиими. Мир потому незнает нас, что не познал Его.
3:1 Behold, what manner of love (o. agape) the Father has bestowed upon us, that we should be called the sons of God: therefore the world knows us not, because it knew him not.
3:2 Возлюбленные! мы теперь дети Божии; но еще не открылось, что будем. Знаем только, что, когда откроется, будем подобны Ему, потому что увидим Его, как Он есть.
3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it does not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.
3:3 И всякий, имеющий сию надежду на Него, очищает себя так, как Он чист.
3:3 And every man that has this hope in him purifies himself, even as he is pure.
3:4 Всякий, делающий грех, делает и беззаконие; и грех есть беззаконие.
3:4 Whosoever commits sin trangresses also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.
3:5 И вы знаете, что Он явился для того, чтобы взять грехи наши, и что в Нем нет греха.
3:5 And all of you know that he was manifested to take away our sins; and in him is no sin.
3:6 Всякий, пребывающий в Нем, не согрешает; всякий согрешающий не видел Его и не позналЕго.
3:6 Whosoever abides in him sins not: whosoever sins has not seen him, neither known him.
3:7 Дети! да не обольщает вас никто. Кто делает правду,тот праведен, подобно как Он праведен.
3:7 Little children, let no man deceive you: he that does righteousness is righteous, even as he is righteous.
3:8 Кто делает грех, тот от диавола, потому что сначала диавол согрешил. Для сего-то и явился Сын Божий, чтобы разрушить дела диавола.
3:8 He that commits sin is of the devil; for the devil sins from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.
3:9 Всякий, рожденный от Бога, не делает греха, потому что семя Его пребывает в нем; и он не можетгрешить, потому что рожден от Бога.
3:9 Whosoever is born of God does not commit sin; for his seed remains in him: and he cannot sin, because he is born of God.
3:10 Дети Божии и дети диавола узнаются так: всякий, не делающий правды, не есть от Бога, равно и не любящий брата своего.
3:10 In this the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever does not righteousness is not of God, neither he that loves not his brother.
3:11 Ибо таково благовествование, которое вы слышали от начала, чтобы мы любили друг друга,
3:11 For this is the message that all of you heard from the beginning, that we should love one another.
3:12 не так, как Каин, который был от лукавого и убил брата своего. А за что убил его? За то, что дела его были злы, а дела брата его праведны.
3:12 Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.
3:13 Не дивитесь, братия мои, если мир ненавидит вас.
3:13 Marvel not, my brethren, if the world hate you.
3:14 Мы знаем, что мы перешли из смерти в жизнь, потому что любим братьев; не любящий брата пребывает в смерти.
3:14 We know that we have passed from death unto life, because we love the brethren. He that loves not his brother abides in death.
3:15 Всякий, ненавидящий брата своего, есть человекоубийца; а вы знаете, что никакой человекоубийца не имеет жизни вечной, в нем пребывающей.
3:15 Whosoever hates his brother is a murderer: and all of you know that no murderer has eternal life abiding in him.
3:16 Любовь познали мы в том, что Он положил за нас душу Свою: и мы должны полагать души свои за братьев.
3:16 Hereby perceive we the love (o. agape) of God, because he laid down his life for us: and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren.
3:17 А кто имеет достаток в мире, но, видя брата своего в нужде, затворяет от него сердце свое, – как пребывает в том любовь Божия?
3:17 But whoso has this world's good, and sees his brother have need, and shuts up his bowels of compassion from him, how dwells the love (o. agape) of God in him?
3:18 Дети мои! станем любить не словом или языком, но делом и истиною.
3:18 My little children, let us not love in word, (o. logos) neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
3:19 И вот по чему узнаем, что мы от истины, и успокаиваем пред Ним сердца наши;
3:19 And hereby we know that we are of the truth, and shall assure our hearts before him.
3:20 ибо если сердце наше осуждает нас, то кольми паче Бог , потому что Бог больше сердца нашего и знает все.
3:20 For if our heart condemn us, God is greater than our heart, and knows all things.
3:21 Возлюбленные! если сердце наше не осуждает нас, то мы имеем дерзновение к Богу,
3:21 Beloved, if our heart condemn us not, then have we confidence toward God.
3:22 и, чего ни попросим, получим от Него, потому что соблюдаем заповеди Его и делаем благоугодное пред Ним.
3:22 And whatsoever we ask, we receive of him, because we keep his commandments, and do those things that are pleasing in his sight.
3:23 А заповедь Его та, чтобы мы веровали во имя Сына Его Иисуса Христа и любили друг друга, как Он заповедал нам.
3:23 And this is his commandment, That we should believe on the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he gave us commandment.
3:24 И кто сохраняет заповеди Его, тот пребывает в Нем, и Он в том. А что Он пребывает в нас,узнаем по духу, который Он дал нам.
3:24 And he that keeps his commandments dwells in him, and he in him. And hereby we know that he abides in us, by the Spirit (o. pneuma) which he has given us.
4:1 Возлюбленные! не всякому духу верьте, но испытывайтедухов, от Бога ли они, потому что много лжепророков появилось в мире.
4:1 Beloved, believe not every spirit, (o. pneuma) but try the spirits (o. pneuma) whether they are of God: because many false prophets are gone out into the world.
4:2 Духа Божия(и духа заблуждения) узнавайте так: всякий дух, который исповедует Иисуса Христа, пришедшего во плоти, есть от Бога;
4:2 Hereby know all of you the Spirit (o. pneuma) of God: Every spirit (o. pneuma) that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is of God:
4:3 а всякий дух, который не исповедует Иисуса Христа,пришедшего во плоти, не есть от Бога, но это дух антихриста, о котором вы слышали, что он придет и теперь есть уже в мире.
4:3 And every spirit (o. pneuma) that confesses not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is not of God: and this is that spirit of antichrist, whereof all of you have heard that it should come; and even now already is it in the world.
4:4 Дети! вы от Бога, и победили их; ибо Тот, Кто в вас, больше того, кто в мире.
4:4 All of you are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
4:5 Они от мира, потому и говорят по-мирски, и мир слушает их.
4:5 They are of the world: therefore speak they of the world, and the world hears them.
4:6 Мы от Бога; знающий Бога слушает нас; кто не от Бога, тот не слушает нас. По сему-то узнаем духа истины и духа заблуждения.
4:6 We are of God: he that knows God hears us; he that is not of God hears not us. Hereby know we the spirit (o. pneuma) of truth, and the spirit (o. pneuma) of error.
4:7 Возлюбленные! будем любить друг друга, потому что любовь от Бога, и всякий любящий рожден от Бога и знает Бога.
4:7 Beloved, let us love one another: for love (o. agape) is of God; and every one that loves is born of God, and knows God.
4:8 Кто не любит, тот не познал Бога, потому что Бог есть любовь.
4:8 He that loves not knows not God; for God is love. (o. agape)
4:9 Любовь Божия к нам открылась в том, что Бог послал в мир Единородного Сына Своего, чтобы мы получили жизнь через Него.
4:9 In this was manifested the love (o. agape) of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
4:10 В том любовь, что не мы возлюбили Бога, но Он возлюбил нас и послал Сына Своего в умилостивление загрехи наши.
4:10 Herein is love, (o. agape) not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.
4:11 Возлюбленные! если так возлюбил нас Бог, то и мы должны любить друг друга.
4:11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another.
4:12 Бога никто никогда не видел. Если мы любим друг друга, то Бог в нас пребывает, и любовь Его совершенна есть в нас.
4:12 No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and his love (o. agape) is perfected in us.
4:13 Что мы пребываем в Нем и Он в нас, узнаем из того, что Он дал нам от Духа Своего.
4:13 Hereby know we that we dwell in him, and he in us, because he has given us of his Spirit. (o. pneuma)
4:14 И мы видели и свидетельствуем, что Отец послал Сына Спасителем миру.
4:14 And we have seen and do testify that the Father sent the Son to be the Saviour of the world.
4:15 Кто исповедует, что Иисус есть Сын Божий, в том пребывает Бог, и он в Боге.
4:15 Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwells in him, and he in God.
4:16 И мы познали любовь, которую имеет к нам Бог, и уверовали в нее. Бог есть любовь, и пребывающий в любви пребывает в Боге, и Бог в нем.
4:16 And we have known and believed the love (o. agape) that God has to us. God is love; (o. agape) and he that dwells in love (o. agape) dwells in God, and God in him.
4:17 Любовь до того совершенства достигает внас, что мы имеем дерзновение в день суда, потому что поступаем в мире сем, как Он.
4:17 Herein is our love (o. agape) made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.
4:18 В любви нет страха, но совершенная любовь изгоняет страх, потому что в страхе есть мучение. Боящийся несовершен в любви.
4:18 There is no fear in love; (o. agape) but perfect love (o. agape) casts out fear: because fear has torment. He that fears is not made perfect in love. (o. agape)
4:19 Будем любить Его, потому что Он прежде возлюбил нас.
4:19 We love him, because he first loved us.
4:20 Кто говорит: „я люблю Бога", а брата своего ненавидит, тот лжец: ибо не любящий брата своего,которого видит, как может любить Бога, Которого не видит?
4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar: for he that loves not his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen?
4:21 И мы имеем от Него такую заповедь, чтобы любящий Бога любил и брата своего.
4:21 And this commandment have we from him, That he who loves God love his brother also.
5:1 Всякий верующий, что Иисус есть Христос, от Бога рожден, и всякий, любящий Родившего, любит и Рожденного от Него.
5:1 Whosoever believes that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loves him that brings forth loves him also that is begotten of him.
5:2 Что мы любим детей Божиих, узнаем из того, когда любим Бога и соблюдаем заповеди Его.
5:2 By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.
5:3 Ибо это есть любовь к Богу, чтобы мы соблюдали заповеди Его; и заповеди Его нетяжки.
5:3 For this is the love (o. agape) of God, that we keep his commandments: and his commandments are not grievous.
5:4 Ибо всякий, рожденный от Бога, побеждает мир; и сия есть победа, победившая мир, вера наша.
5:4 For whatsoever is born of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that overcomes the world, even our faith.
5:5 Кто побеждает мир, как не тот, кто верует, что Иисус есть Сын Божий?
5:5 Who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believes that Jesus is the Son of God?
5:6 Сей есть Иисус Христос, пришедший водою и кровию и Духом, не водою только, но водою и кровию, и Дух свидетельствует о Нем , потому что Дух есть истина.
5:6 This is he that came by water and blood, even Jesus Christ; not by water only, but by water and blood. And it is the Spirit (o. pneuma) that bears witness, because the Spirit (o. pneuma) is truth.
5:7 Ибо три свидетельствуют на небе: Отец, Слово и Святый Дух; и Сии три суть едино.
5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, (o. logos) and the Holy Spirit: (o. pneuma) and these three are one.
5:8 И три свидетельствуют на земле: дух, вода и кровь; и сии три об одном.
5:8 And there are three that bear witness in earth, the Spirit, (o. pneuma) and the water, and the blood: and these three agree in one.
5:9 Если мы принимаем свидетельство человеческое, свидетельство Божие – больше, ибо это есть свидетельство Божие, которым Бог свидетельствовал о Сыне Своем.
5:9 If we receive the witness of men, the witness of God is greater: for this is the witness of God which he has testified of his Son.
5:10 Верующий в Сына Божия имеет свидетельство в себе самом; не верующий Богу представляет Его лживым, потому что не верует в свидетельство, которым Бог свидетельствовал о Сыне Своем.
5:10 He that believes on the Son of God has the witness in himself: he that believes not God has made him a liar; because he believes not the record that God gave of his Son.
5:11 Свидетельство сие состоит в том, что Бог даровал нам жизнь вечную, и сия жизнь в Сыне Его.
5:11 And this is the record, that God has given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son.
5:12 Имеющий Сына(Божия) имеет жизнь; не имеющий Сына Божия не имеет жизни.
5:12 He that has the Son has life; and he that has not the Son of God has not life.
5:13 Сие написал я вам, верующим во имя Сына Божия, дабы вы знали, что вы, веруя в Сына Божия, имеете жизнь вечную.
5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that all of you may know that all of you have eternal life, and that all of you may believe on the name of the Son of God.
5:14 И вот какое дерзновение мы имеем к Нему, что, когда просим чего по воле Его, Он слушает нас.
5:14 And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he hears us:
5:15 А когда мы знаем, что Он слушает нас во всем, чего бы мы ни просили, – знаем и то, что получаем просимое от Него.
5:15 And if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
5:16 Если кто видит брата своего согрешающего грехом не к смерти, то пусть молится, и Бог даст ему жизнь, тоесть согрешающему грехом не к смерти. Есть грех к смерти: не о том говорю, чтобы он молился.
5:16 If any man see his brother sin a sin which is not unto death, he shall ask, and he shall give him life for them that sin not unto death. There is a sin unto death: I do not say that he shall pray for it.
5:17 Всякая неправда есть грех; но есть грех не к смерти.
5:17 All unrighteousness is sin: and there is a sin not unto death.
5:18 Мы знаем, что всякий, рожденный от Бога, не грешит; но рожденный от Бога хранит себя, илукавый не прикасается к нему.
5:18 We know that whosoever is born of God sins not; but he that is begotten of God keeps himself, and that wicked one touches him not.
5:19 Мы знаем, что мы от Бога и что весь мир лежит во зле.
5:19 And we know that we are of God, and the whole world lies in wickedness.
5:20 Знаем также, что Сын Божий пришел и дал нам свет и разум, да познаем Бога истинного и да будем в истинном Сыне Его Иисусе Христе. Сей естьистинный Бог и жизнь вечная.
5:20 And we know that the Son of God has come, and has given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.
5:21 Дети! храните себя от идолов. Аминь.
5:21 Little children, keep yourselves from idols. Amen.
1:1 Старец – избранной госпоже и детям ее, которых я люблю по истине, и не только я, но и все, познавшие истину,
1:1 The elder unto the elect lady and her children, whom I love in the truth; and not I only, but also all they that have known the truth;
1:2 ради истины, которая пребывает в нас и будет с нами вовек.
1:2 For the truth's sake, which dwells in us, and shall be with us for ever.
1:3 Да будет с вами благодать, милость, мир от Бога Отца и от Господа Иисуса Христа, Сына Отчего, в истине и любви.
1:3 Grace be with you, mercy, and peace, from God the Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of the Father, in truth and love. (o. agape)
1:4 Я весьма обрадовался, что нашел из детей твоих, ходящих в истине, как мы получили заповедь от Отца.
1:4 I rejoiced greatly that I found of your children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.
1:5 И ныне прошу тебя, госпожа, не как новую заповедь предписывая тебе, но ту, которую имеем от начала, чтобы мы любили друг друга.
1:5 And now I plead to you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
1:6 Любовь же состоит в том, чтобы мы поступали по заповедям Его. Это та заповедь, которую вы слышали от начала, чтобы поступали по ней.
1:6 And this is love, (o. agape) that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as all of you have heard from the beginning, all of you should walk in it.
1:7 Ибо многие обольстители вошли в мир, не исповедующие Иисуса Христа, пришедшего во плоти: такой человек есть обольститель и антихрист.
1:7 For many deceivers are entered into the world, who confess not that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh. This is a deceiver and an antichrist.
1:8 Наблюдайте за собою, чтобы нам не потерять того, над чем мы трудились, но чтобы получить полную награду.
1:8 Look to yourselves, that we lose not those things which we have wrought, but that we receive a full reward.
1:9 Всякий, преступающий учение Христово и не пребывающий в нем, не имеет Бога; пребывающий в учении Христовом имеет и Отца и Сына.
1:9 Whosoever trangresses, and abides not in the doctrine of Christ, has not God. He that abides in the doctrine of Christ, he has both the Father and the Son.
1:10 Кто приходит к вам и не приносит сего учения, того не принимайте в дом и не приветствуйте его.
1:10 If there come any unto you, and bring not this doctrine, receive him not into your house, neither bid him God speed:
1:11 Ибо приветствующий его участвует в злых делах его.
1:11 For he that bids him God speed is partaker of his evil deeds.
1:12 Многое имею писать вам, но не хочу на бумаге чернилами, а надеюсь придти к вам и говорить устами к устам, чтобы радость ваша была полна.
1:12 Having many things to write unto you, I would not write with paper and ink: but I trust to come unto you, and speak face to face, that our joy may be full.
1:13 Приветствуют тебя дети сестры твоей избранной. Аминь.
1:13 The children of your elect sister greet you. Amen.
1:1 Старец – возлюбленному Гаию, которого я люблю по истине.
1:1 The elder unto the beloved Gaius, whom I love in the truth.
1:2 Возлюбленный! молюсь, чтобы ты здравствовал и преуспевал во всем, как преуспевает душа твоя.
1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you may prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospers.
1:3 Ибо я весьма обрадовался, когда пришли братия и засвидетельствовали о твоей верности, как ты ходишь в истине.
1:3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walk in the truth.
1:4 Для меня нет большей радости, как слышать, что дети мои ходят в истине.
1:4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
1:5 Возлюбленный! ты как верный поступаешь в том, что делаешь для братьев и для странников.
1:5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatsoever you do to the brethren, and to strangers;
1:6 Они засвидетельствовали перед церковью о твоей любви. Ты хорошо поступишь, если отпустишь их, как должно ради Бога,
1:6 Which have borne witness of your love (o. agape) before the church: whom if you bring forward on their journey after a godly sort, you shall do well:
1:7 ибо они ради имени Его пошли, не взяв ничего от язычников.
1:7 Because that for his name's sake they went forth, taking nothing of the Gentiles.
1:8 Итак мы должны принимать таковых, чтобы сделаться споспешниками истине.
1:8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we might be fellow-helpers to the truth.
1:9 Я писал церкви; но любящий первенствовать у них Диотреф не принимает нас.
1:9 I wrote unto the church: but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, receives us not.
1:10 Посему, если я приду, то напомню о делах, которые он делает, понося нас злыми словами, и не довольствуясь тем, и сам не принимает братьев, и запрещает желающим, и изгоняет из церкви.
1:10 Wherefore, if I come, I will remember his deeds which he does, babbling against us with malicious words: (o. logos) and not content therewith, neither does he himself receive the brethren, and forbids them that would, and casts them out of the church.
1:11 Возлюбленный! не подражай злу, но добру. Кто делает добро, тот от Бога; а делающий зло не видел Бога.
1:11 Beloved, follow not that which is evil, but that which is good. He that does good is of God: but he that does evil has not seen God.
1:12 О Димитрии засвидетельствовано всеми и самою истиною; свидетельствуем также и мы, и вы знаете, что свидетельство наше истинно.
1:12 Demetrius has good report of all men, and of the truth itself: yea, and we also bear record; and all of you know that our record is true.
1:13 Многое имел я писать; но не хочу писать к тебе чернилами и тростью,
1:13 I had many things to write, but I will not with ink and pen write unto you:
1:14 а надеюсь скоро увидеть тебя и поговорить устами к устам. (1:15) Мир тебе. Приветствуют тебя друзья; приветствуй друзей поименно. Аминь.
1:14 But I trust I shall shortly see you, and we shall speak face to face. Peace be to you. Our friends salute you. Greet the friends by name.
