77:1 CON mi voz clamé á Dios, A Dios clamé, y él me escuchará.

77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.

77:2 Al Señor busqué en el día de mi angustia: Mi mal corría de noche y no cesaba: Mi alma rehusaba consuelo.

77:2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.

77:3 Acordábame de Dios, y gritaba: Quejábame, y desmayaba mi espíritu. (Selah.)

77:3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.

77:4 Tenías los párpados de mis ojos: Estaba yo quebrantado, y no hablaba.

77:4 You hold mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.

77:5 Consideraba los días desde el principio, Los años de los siglos.

77:5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.

77:6 Acordábame de mis canciones de noche; Meditaba con mi corazón, Y mi espíritu inquiría.

77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.

77:7 ¿Desechará el Señor para siempre, Y no volverá más á amar?

77:7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?

77:8 ¿Hase acabado para siempre su misericordia? ¿Hase acabado la palabra suya para generación y generación?

77:8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore?

77:9 ¿Ha olvidado Dios el tener misericordia? ¿Ha encerrado con ira sus piedades? (Selah.)

77:9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.

77:10 Y dije: Enfermedad mía es esta; Traeré pues á la memoria los años de la diestra del Altísimo.

77:10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.

77:11 Acordaréme de las obras de JAH: Sí, haré yo memoria de tus maravillas antiguas.

77:11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember your wonders of old.

77:12 Y meditaré en todas tus obras, Y hablaré de tus hechos.

77:12 I will meditate also of all your work, and talk of your doings.

77:13 Oh Dios, en santidad es tu camino: ¿Qué Dios grande como el Dios nuestro?

77:13 Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?

77:14 Tú eres el Dios que hace maravillas: Tú hiciste notoria en los pueblos tu fortaleza.

77:14 You are the God that do wonders: you have declared your strength among the people.

77:15 Con tu brazo redimiste á tu pueblo, A los hijos de Jacob y de José. (Selah.)

77:15 You have with yours arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.

77:16 Viéronte las aguas, oh Dios; Viéronte las aguas, temieron; Y temblaron los abismos.

77:16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.

77:17 Las nubes echaron inundaciones de aguas; Tronaron los cielos, Y discurrieron tus rayos.

77:17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: yours arrows also went abroad.

77:18 Anduvo en derredor el sonido de tus truenos; Los relámpagos alumbraron el mundo; Estremecióse y tembló la tierra.

77:18 The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.

77:19 En la mar fué tu camino, Y tus sendas en las muchas aguas; Y tus pisadas no fueron conocidas.

77:19 Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.

77:20 Condujiste á tu pueblo como ovejas, Por mano de Moisés y de Aarón.

77:20 You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.

78:1 ESCUCHA, pueblo mío, mi ley: Inclinad vuestro oído á las palabras de mi boca.

78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.

78:2 Abriré mi boca en parábola; Hablaré cosas reservadas de antiguo:

78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:

78:3 Las cuales hemos oído y entendido; Que nuestros padres nos las contaron.

78:3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.

78:4 No las encubriremos á sus hijos, Contando á la generación venidera las alabanzas de Jehová, Y su fortaleza, y sus maravillas que hizo.

78:4 We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.

78:5 El estableció testimonio en Jacob, Y pusó ley en Israel; La cual mandó á nuestros padres Que la notificasen á sus hijos;

78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:

78:6 Para que lo sepa la generación venidera, y los hijos que nacerán; Y los que se levantarán, lo cuenten á sus hijos;

78:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:

78:7 A fin de que pongan en Dios su confianza, Y no se olviden de las obras de Dios, Y guarden sus mandamientos:

78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:

78:8 Y no sean como sus padres, Generación contumaz y rebelde; Generación que no apercibió su corazón, Ni fué fiel para con Dios su espíritu.

78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with God.

78:9 Los hijos de Ephraim armados, flecheros, Volvieron las espaldas el día de la batalla.

78:9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.

78:10 No guardaron el pacto de Dios, Ni quisieron andar en su ley:

78:10 They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;

78:11 Antes se olvidaron de sus obras, Y de sus maravillas que les había mostrado.

78:11 And forgotten about his works, and his wonders that he had showed them.

78:12 Delante de sus padres hizo maravillas En la tierra de Egipto, en el campo de Zoán.

78:12 Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.

78:13 Rompió la mar, é hízolos pasar; E hizo estar las aguas como en un montón.

78:13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.

78:14 Y llevólos de día con nube, Y toda la noche con resplandor de fuego.

78:14 In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.

78:15 Hendió las peñas en el desierto: Y dióles á beber como de grandes abismos;

78:15 He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.

78:16 Pues sacó de la peña corrientes, E hizo descender aguas como ríos.

78:16 He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.

78:17 Empero aun tornaron á pecar contra él, Enojando en la soledad al Altísimo.

78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.

78:18 Pues tentaron á Dios en su corazón, Pidiendo comida á su gusto.

78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking food for their lust.

78:19 Y hablaron contra Dios, Diciendo: ¿Podrá poner mesa en el desierto?

78:19 Yea, they spoke against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?

78:20 He aquí ha herido la peña, y corrieron aguas, Y arroyos salieron ondeando: ¿Podrá también dar pan? ¿Aparejará carne á su pueblo?

78:20 Behold, he stroke the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?

78:21 Por tanto oyó Jehová, é indignóse: Y encendióse el fuego contra Jacob, Y el furor subió también contra Israel;

78:21 Therefore the LORD heard this, and was angry: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;

78:22 Por cuanto no habían creído á Dios, Ni habían confiado en su salud:

78:22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:

78:23 A pesar de que mandó á las nubes de arriba, Y abrió las puertas de los cielos,

78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,

78:24 E hizo llover sobre ellos maná para comer, Y dióles trigo de los cielos.

78:24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.

78:25 Pan de nobles comió el hombre: Envióles comida á hartura.

78:25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them food to the full.

78:26 Movió el solano en el cielo, Y trajo con su fortaleza el austro.

78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.

78:27 E hizo llover sobre ellos carne como polvo, Y aves de alas como arena de la mar.

78:27 He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like the sand of the sea:

78:28 E hízolas caer en medio de su campo, Alrededor de sus tiendas.

78:28 And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.

78:29 Y comieron, y hartáronse mucho: Cumplióles pues su deseo.

78:29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;

78:30 No habían quitado de sí su deseo, Aun estaba su vianda en su boca,

78:30 They were not cut off from their lust. But while their food was yet in their mouths,

78:31 Cuando vino sobre ellos el furor de Dios, Y mató los más robustos de ellos, Y derribo los escogidos de Israel.

78:31 The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and stroke down the chosen men of Israel.

78:32 Con todo esto pecaron aún, Y no dieron crédito á sus maravillas.

78:32 For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.

78:33 Consumió por tanto en nada sus días, Y sus años en la tribulación.

78:33 Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.

78:34 Si los mataba, entonces buscaban á Dios; Entonces se volvían solícitos en busca suya.

78:34 When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.

78:35 Y acordábanse que Dios era su refugio. Y el Dios Alto su redentor.

78:35 And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.

78:36 Mas le lisonjeaban con su boca, Y con su lengua le mentían:

78:36 Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.

78:37 Pues sus corazones no eran rectos con él, Ni estuvieron firmes en su pacto.

78:37 For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant.

78:38 Empero él misericordioso, perdonaba la maldad, y no los destruía: Y abundó para apartar su ira, Y no despertó todo su enojo.

78:38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.

78:39 Y acordóse que eran carne; Soplo que va y no vuelve.

78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passes away, and comes not again.

78:40 Cuántas veces lo ensañaron en el desierto, Lo enojaron en la soledad!

78:40 How often did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!

78:41 Y volvían, y tentaban á Dios, Y ponían límite al Santo de Israel.

78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.

78:42 No se acordaron de su mano, Del día que los redimió de angustia;

78:42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.

78:43 Cuando puso en Egipto sus señales, Y sus maravillas en el campo de Zoán;

78:43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan.

78:44 Y volvió sus ríos en sangre, Y sus corrientes, porque no bebiesen.

78:44 And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.

78:45 Envió entre ellos una mistura de moscas que los comían, Y ranas que los destruyeron.

78:45 He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.

78:46 Dió también al pulgón sus frutos, Y sus trabajos á la langosta.

78:46 He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar, and their labour unto the locust.

78:47 Sus viñas destruyó con granizo, Y sus higuerales con piedra;

78:47 He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.

78:48 Y entregó al pedrisco sus bestias, Y al fuego sus ganados.

78:48 He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.

78:49 Envió sobre ellos el furor de su saña, Ira y enojo y angustia, Con misión de malos ángeles.

78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.

78:50 Dispuso el camino á su furor; No eximió la vida de ellos de la muerte, Sino que entregó su vida á la mortandad.

78:50 He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;

78:51 E hirió á todo primogénito en Egipto, Las primicias de las fuerzas en las tiendas de Châm.

78:51 And stroke all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:

78:52 Empero hizo salir á su pueblo como ovejas, Y llevólos por el desierto, como un rebaño.

78:52 But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.

78:53 Y guiólos con seguridad, que no tuvieron miedo; Y la mar cubrió á sus enemigos.

78:53 And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.

78:54 Metiólos después en los términos de su santuario, En este monte que ganó su mano derecha.

78:54 And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.

78:55 Y echó las gentes de delante de ellos, Y repartióles una herencia con cuerdas; E hizo habitar en sus moradas á las tribus de Israel.

78:55 He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.

78:56 Mas tentaron y enojaron al Dios Altísimo, Y no guardaron sus testimonios;

78:56 Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:

78:57 Sino que se volvieron, y se rebelaron como sus padres: Volviéronse como arco engañoso.

78:57 But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.

78:58 Y enojáronlo con sus altos, Y provocáronlo á celo con sus esculturas.

78:58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.

78:59 Oyólo Dios, y enojóse, Y en gran manera aborreció á Israel.

78:59 When God heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel:

78:60 Dejó por tanto el tabernáculo de Silo, La tienda en que habitó entre los hombres;

78:60 So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;

78:61 Y dió en cautividad su fortaleza, Y su gloria en mano del enemigo.

78:61 And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.

78:62 Entregó también su pueblo á cuchillo, Y airóse contra su heredad.

78:62 He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was angry with his inheritance.

78:63 El fuego devoró sus mancebos, Y sus vírgenes no fueron loadas en cantos nupciales.

78:63 The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.

78:64 Sus sacerdotes cayeron á cuchillo, Y sus viudas no lamentaron.

78:64 Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.

78:65 Entonces despertó el Señor á la manera del que ha dormido, Como un valiente que grita excitado del vino:

78:65 Then the LORD awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.

78:66 E hirió á sus enemigos en las partes posteriores: Dióles perpetua afrenta.

78:66 And he stroke his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.

78:67 Y desechó el tabernáculo de José, Y no escogió la tribu de Ephraim.

78:67 Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:

78:68 Sino que escogió la tribu de Judá, El monte de Sión, al cual amó.

78:68 But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.

78:69 Y edificó su santuario á manera de eminencia, Como la tierra que cimentó para siempre.

78:69 And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he has established for ever.

78:70 Y eligió á David su siervo, Y tomólo de las majadas de las ovejas:

78:70 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:

78:71 De tras las paridas lo trajo, Para que apacentase á Jacob su pueblo, y á Israel su heredad.

78:71 From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.

78:72 Y apacentólos con entereza de su corazón; Y pastoreólos con la pericia de sus manos.

78:72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.

79:1 OH Dios, vinieron las gentes á tu heredad; El templo de tu santidad han contaminado; Pusieron á Jerusalem en montones.

79:1 O god, the heathen are come into yours inheritance; your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.

79:2 Dieron los cuerpos de tus siervos por comida á las aves de los cielos; La carne de tus santos á las bestias de la tierra.

79:2 The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of your saints unto the beasts of the earth.

79:3 Derramaron su sangre como agua en los alrededores de Jerusalem; Y no hubo quien los enterrase.

79:3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.

79:4 Somos afrentados de nuestros vecinos, Escarnecidos y burlados de los que están en nuestros alrededores.

79:4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.

79:5 ¿Hasta cuándo, oh Jehová? ¿has de estar airado para siempre? ¿Arderá como fuego tu celo?

79:5 How long, LORD? will you be angry for ever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?

79:6 Derrama tu ira sobre las gentes que no te conocen, Y sobre los reinos que no invocan tu nombre.

79:6 Pour out your wrath upon the heathen that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.

79:7 Porque han consumido á Jacob, Y su morada han asolado.

79:7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.

79:8 No recuerdes contra nosotros las iniquidades antiguas: Anticípennos presto tus misericordias, Porque estamos muy abatidos.

79:8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let your tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.

79:9 Ayúdanos, oh Dios, salud nuestra, por la gloria de tu nombre: Y líbranos, y aplácate sobre nuestros pecados por amor de tu nombre.

79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.

79:10 Porque dirán las gentes: ¿Dónde está su Dios? Sea notoria en las gentes, delante de nuestros ojos, La venganza de la sangre de tus siervos, que fué derramada.

79:10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of your servants which is shed.

79:11 Entre ante tu acatamiento el gemido de los presos: Conforme á la grandeza de tu brazo preserva á los sentenciados á muerte.

79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you; according to the greatness of your power preserve you those that are appointed to die;

79:12 Y torna á nuestros vecinos en su seno siete tantos De su infamia, con que te han deshonrado, oh Jehová.

79:12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached you, O Lord.

79:13 Y nosotros, pueblo tuyo, y ovejas de tu dehesa, Te alabaremos para siempre: Por generación y generación cantaremos tus alabanzas.

79:13 So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks for ever: we will show forth your praise to all generations.

80:1 OH Pastor de Israel, escucha: Tú que pastoreas como á ovejas á José, Que estás entre querubines, resplandece.

80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that lead Joseph like a flock; you that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth.

80:2 Despierta tu valentía delante de Ephraim, y de Benjamín, y de Manasés, Y ven á salvarnos.

80:2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up your strength, and come and save us.

80:3 Oh Dios, haznos tornar; Y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

80:3 Turn us again, O God, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

80:4 Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, ¿Hasta cuándo humearás tú contra la oración de tu pueblo?

80:4 O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?

80:5 Dísteles á comer pan de lágrimas, Y dísteles á beber lágrimas en gran abundancia.

80:5 You feed them with the bread of tears; and give them tears to drink in great measure.

80:6 Pusístenos por contienda á nuestros vecinos: Y nuestros enemigos se burlan entre sí.

80:6 You make us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.

80:7 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; Y haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

80:7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

80:8 Hiciste venir una vid de Egipto: Echaste las gentes, y plantástela.

80:8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt: you have cast out the heathen, and planted it.

80:9 Limpiaste sitio delante de ella, E hiciste arraigar sus raíces, y llenó la tierra.

80:9 You prepared room before it, and did cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.

80:10 Los montes fueron cubiertos de su sombra; Y sus sarmientos como cedros de Dios.

80:10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.

80:11 Extendió sus vástagos hasta la mar, Y hasta el río sus mugrones.

80:11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.

80:12 ¿Por qué aportillaste sus vallados, Y la vendimian todos los que pasan por el camino?

80:12 Why have you then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?

80:13 Estropeóla el puerco montés, Y pacióla la bestia del campo.

80:13 The boar out of the wood does waste it, and the wild beast of the field does devour it.

80:14 Oh Dios de los ejércitos, vuelve ahora: Mira desde el cielo, y considera, y visita esta viña,

80:14 Return, we plead to you, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;

80:15 Y la planta que plantó tu diestra, Y el renuevo que para ti corroboraste.

80:15 And the vineyard which your right hand has planted, and the branch that you made strong for yourself.

80:16 Quemada á fuego está, asolada: Perezcan por la reprensión de tu rostro.

80:16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of your countenance.

80:17 Sea tu mano sobre el varón de tu diestra, Sobre el hijo del hombre que para ti corroboraste.

80:17 Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.

80:18 Así no nos volveremos de ti: Vida nos darás, é invocaremos tu nombre.

80:18 So will not we go back from you: quicken us, and we will call upon your name.

80:19 Oh Jehová, Dios de los ejércitos, haznos tornar; Haz resplandecer tu rostro, y seremos salvos.

80:19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

81:1 CANTAD á Dios, fortaleza nuestra: Al Dios de Jacob celebrad con júbilo.

81:1 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.

81:2 Tomad la canción, y tañed el adufe, El arpa deliciosa con el salterio.

81:2 Take a psalm, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

81:3 Tocad la trompeta en la nueva luna, En el día señalado, en el día de nuestra solemnidad.

81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.

81:4 Porque estatuto es de Israel, Ordenanza del Dios de Jacob.

81:4 For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.

81:5 Por testimonio en José lo ha constituído, Cuando salió por la tierra de Egipto; Donde oí lenguaje que no entendía.

81:5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.

89:25 Asimismo pondré su mano en la mar, Y en los ríos su diestra.

89:25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.

89:26 El me llamará: Mi padre eres tú, Mi Dios, y la roca de mi salud.

89:26 He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.

89:31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;

89:32 Entonces visitaré con vara su rebelión, Y con azotes sus iniquidades.

89:32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.

89:33 Mas no quitaré de él mi misericordia, Ni falsearé mi verdad.

89:33 Nevertheless my loving kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.

89:34 No olvidaré mi pacto, Ni mudaré lo que ha salido de mis labios.

89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.

90:1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.

90:2 Antes que naciesen los montes Y formases la tierra y el mundo, Y desde el siglo y hasta el siglo, tú eres Dios.

90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, before even you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

90:3 Vuelves al hombre hasta ser quebrantado, Y dices: Convertíos, hijos de los hombres.

90:3 You turn man to destruction; and says, Return, all of you children of men.

90:4 Porque mil años delante de tus ojos, Son como el día de ayer, que pasó, Y como una de las vigilias de la noche.

90:4 For a thousand years in your sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.

90:9 For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.

90:10 Los días de nuestra edad son setenta años; Que si en los más robustos son ochenta años, Con todo su fortaleza es molestia y trabajo; Porque es cortado presto, y volamos.

90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.

91:1 He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.

91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.

91:3 Y él te librará del lazo del cazador: De la peste destruidora.

91:3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the dangerous pestilence.

91:4 Con sus plumas te cubrirá, Y debajo de sus alas estarás seguro: Escudo y adarga es su verdad.

91:4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.

91:5 No tendrás temor de espanto nocturno, Ni de saeta que vuele de día;

91:5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;

91:7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you.

92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.

92:4 Por cuanto me has alegrado, oh Jehová, con tus obras; En las obras de tus manos me gozo.

92:4 For you, LORD, have made me glad through your work: I will triumph in the works of your hands.

92:10 But my horn shall you exalt like the horn of an unicorn (p. ox): I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

92:11 Y mirarán mis ojos sobre mis enemigos: Oirán mis oídos de los que se levantaron contra mí, de los malignos.

92:11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

92:12 El justo florecerá como la palma: Crecerá como cedro en el Líbano.

92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

92:13 Those that be planted in the house of the LORD shall flourish in the courts of our God.

94:11 Jehová conoce los pensamientos de los hombres, Que son vanidad.

94:11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.

94:12 Bienaventurado el hombre á quien tú, JAH, castigares, Y en tu ley lo instruyeres;

94:12 Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;

94:13 Para tranquilizarle en los días de aflicción, En tanto que para el impío se cava el hoyo.

94:13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.

94:14 Porque no dejará Jehová su pueblo, Ni desamparará su heredad;

94:14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

94:15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.

94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?

94:17 Si no me ayudara Jehová, Presto morara mi alma en el silencio.

94:17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.

94:18 Cuando yo decía: Mi pie resbala: Tu misericordia, oh Jehová, me sustentaba.

94:18 When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.

94:19 En la multitud de mis pensamientos dentro de mí, Tus consolaciones alegraban mi alma.

94:19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.

94:20 ¿Juntaráse contigo el trono de iniquidades, Que forma agravio en el mandamiento?

94:20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?

94:21 Pónense en corros contra la vida del justo, Y condenan la sangre inocente.

94:21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

94:22 Mas Jehová me ha sido por refugio; Y mi Dios por roca de mi confianza.

94:22 But the LORD is my defence; and my God is the rock of my refuge.

94:23 Y él hará tornar sobre ellos su iniquidad, Y los destruirá por su propia maldad; Los talará Jehová nuestro Dios.

94:23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

97:7 Avergüéncense todos los que sirven á las imágenes de talla, Los que se alaban de los ídolos: Los dioses todos á él se encorven.

97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods.

97:8 Oyó Sión, y alegróse; Y las hijas de Judá, Oh Jehová, se gozaron por tus juicios.

97:8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.

97:9 Porque tú, Jehová, eres alto sobre toda la tierra: Eres muy ensalzado sobre todos los dioses.

97:9 For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods.

97:10 Los que á Jehová amáis, aborreced el mal: Guarda él las almas de sus santos; De mano de los impíos los libra.

97:10 All of you that love the LORD, hate evil: he perserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.

97:11 Luz está sembrada para el justo, Y alegría para los rectos de corazón.

97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.

97:12 Alegraos, justos, en Jehová: Y alabad la memoria de su santidad.

97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, all of you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.

98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, has got him the victory.

98:2 Jehová ha hecho notoria su salud: En ojos de las gentes ha descubierto su justicia.

98:2 The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.

98:3 Hase acordado de su misericordia y de su verdad para con la casa de Israel: Todos los términos de la tierra han visto la salud de nuestro Dios.

98:3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.

98:4 Cantad alegres á Jehová, toda la tierra; Levantad la voz, y aplaudid, y salmead.

98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.

98:5 Salmead á Jehová con arpa; Con arpa y voz de cántico.

98:5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.

98:6 Aclamad con trompetas y sonidos De bocina delante del rey Jehová.

98:6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.

98:7 Brame la mar y su plenitud; El mundo y los que en él habitan;

98:7 Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.

98:8 Los ríos batan las manos; Los montes todos hagan regocijo,

98:8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together

98:9 Delante de Jehová; porque vino á juzgar la tierra: Juzgará al mundo con justicia, Y á los pueblos con rectitud.

98:9 Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.

99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.

99:3 Let them praise your great and terrible name; for it is holy.

99:4 Y la gloria del rey ama el juicio: Tú confirmas la rectitud; Tú has hecho en Jacob juicio y justicia.

99:4 The king's strength also loves judgment; you do establish equity, you execute judgment and righteousness in Jacob.

99:5 Exalt all of you the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.

99:6 Moisés y Aarón entre sus sacerdotes, Y Samuel entre los que invocaron su nombre; Invocaban á Jehová, y él les respondía.

99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.

99:7 En columna de nube hablaba con ellos: Guardaban sus testimonios, y el estatuto que les había dado.

99:7 He spoke unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

99:8 Jehová Dios nuestro, tú les respondías: Tú les fuiste un Dios perdonador, Y vengador de sus obras.

99:8 You answered them, O LORD our God: you were a God that forgave them, though you took vengeance of their inventions.

99:9 Ensalzad á Jehová nuestro Dios, Y encorvaos al monte de su santidad; Porque Jehová nuestro Dios es santo.

99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

100:1 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all you lands.

100:2 Servid á Jehová con alegría: Venid ante su acatamiento con regocijo.

100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.

100:3 Reconoced que Jehová él es Dios: El nos hizo, y no nosotros á nosotros mismos. Pueblo suyo somos, y ovejas de su prado.

100:3 Know all of you that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.

100:4 Entrad por sus puertas con reconocimiento, Por sus atrios con alabanza: Alabadle, bendecid su nombre.

101:2 Entenderé en el camino de la perfección Cuando vinieres á mí: En integridad de mi corazón andaré en medio de mi casa.

101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will you come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.

101:3 No pondré delante de mis ojos cosa injusta: Aborrezco la obra de los que se desvían: Ninguno de ellos se allegará á mí.

101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

101:4 Corazón perverso se apartará de mí; No conoceré al malvado.

101:4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

101:5 Al que solapadamente infama á su prójimo, yo le cortaré; No sufriré al de ojos altaneros, y de corazón vanidoso.

101:5 Whoso privately slanders his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that has an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

101:6 Mis ojos pondré en los fieles de la tierra, para que estén conmigo: El que anduviere en el camino de la perfección, éste me sevirá.

101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

101:7 No habitará dentro de mi casa el que hace fraude: El que habla mentiras no se afirmará delante de mis ojos.

101:7 He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

101:8 Por las mañanas cortaré á todos los impíos de la tierra; Para extirpar de la ciudad de Jehová á todos los que obraren iniquidad.

101:8 I will early destroy all the wicked of the land; that I may cut off all wicked doers from the city of the LORD.

102:1 JEHOVA, oye mi oración, Y venga mi clamor á ti.

102:1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto you.

102:2 No escondas de mí tu rostro: en el día de mi angustia Inclina á mí tu oído; El día que te invocare, apresúrate á responderme.

102:2 Hide not your face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline yours ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.

102:3 Porque mis días se han consumido como humo; Y mis huesos cual tizón están quemados.

102:3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.

102:4 Mi corazón fué herido, y secóse como la hierba; Por lo cual me olvidé de comer mi pan.

102:6 I am like a pelican of the wilderness: I am like an owl of the desert.

102:7 Velo, y soy Como el pájaro solitario sobre el tejado.

102:7 I watch, and am as a sparrow alone upon the house top.

102:8 Cada día me afrentan mis enemigos; Los que se enfurecen contra mí, hanse contra mí conjurado.

102:8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

102:9 Por lo que como la ceniza á manera de pan, Y mi bebida mezclo con lloro,

102:9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

102:10 A causa de tu enojo y de tu ira; Pues me alzaste, y me has arrojado.

102:10 Because of yours indignation and your wrath: for you have lifted me up, and cast me down.

102:11 Mis días son como la sombra que se va; Y heme secado como la hierba.

102:11 My days are like a shadow that declines; and I am withered like grass.

102:12 Mas tú, Jehová, permanecerás para siempre, Y tu memoria para generación y generación.

102:12 But you, O LORD, shall endure for ever; and your remembrance unto all generations.

102:13 You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, has come.

102:14 For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.

102:15 Entonces temerán las gentes el nombre de Jehová, Y todos los reyes de la tierra tu gloria;

102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth your glory.

102:16 Por cuanto Jehová habrá edificado á Sión, Y en su gloria será visto;

102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.

102:17 Habrá mirado á la oración de los solitarios, Y no habrá desechado el ruego de ellos.

102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.

102:18 Escribirse ha esto para la generación venidera: Y el pueblo que se criará, alabará á JAH.

102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.

102:19 Porque miró de lo alto de su santuario; Jehová miró de los cielos á la tierra,

102:19 For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;

102:20 Para oir el gemido de los presos, Para soltar á los sentenciados á muerte;

102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;

102:21 Porque cuenten en Sión el nombre de Jehová, Y su alabanza en Jerusalem,

102:21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;

102:22 Cuando los pueblos se congregaren en uno, Y los reinos, para servir á Jehová.

102:22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.

102:23 El afligió mi fuerza en el camino; Acortó mis días.

102:23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.

102:24 Dije: Dios mío, no me cortes en el medio de mis días: Por generación de generaciones son tus años.

102:24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: your years are throughout all generations.

102:25 Tú fundaste la tierra antiguamente, Y los cielos son obra de tus manos.

102:25 Of old have you laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands.

102:26 Ellos perecerán, y tú permanecerás; Y todos ellos como un vestido se envejecerán; Como una ropa de vestir los mudarás, y serán mudados:

102:26 They shall perish, but you shall endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture shall you change them, and they shall be changed:

102:27 Mas tú eres el mismo, Y tus años no se acabarán.

102:27 But you are the same, and your years shall have no end.

103:3 El es quien perdona todas tus iniquidades, El que sana todas tus dolencias;

103:3 Who forgives all yours iniquities; who heals all your diseases;

103:4 El que rescata del hoyo tu vida, El que te corona de favores y misericordias;

103:4 Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;

103:5 El que sacia de bien tu boca De modo que te rejuvenezcas como el águila.

103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

103:6 Jehová el que hace justicia Y derecho á todos los que padecen violencia.

103:6 The LORD executes righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.

103:7 Sus caminos notificó á Moisés, Y á los hijos de Israel sus obras.

103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.

103:8 Misericordioso y clemente es Jehová; Lento para la ira, y grande en misericordia.

103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.

103:9 No contenderá para siempre, Ni para siempre guardará el enojo.

103:9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.

103:10 No ha hecho con nosotros conforme á nuestras iniquidades; Ni nos ha pagado conforme á nuestros pecados.

103:10 He has not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.

103:11 Porque como la altura de los cielos sobre la tierra, Engrandeció su misericordia sobre los que le temen.

103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.

103:12 Cuanto está lejos el oriente del occidente, Hizo alejar de nosotros nuestras rebeliones.

103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

103:13 Como el padre se compadece de los hijos, Se compadece Jehová de los que le temen.

103:13 Like a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.

103:14 Porque él conoce nuestra condición; Acuérdase que somos polvo.

103:14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.

103:15 El hombre, como la hierba son sus días, Florece como la flor del campo.

103:15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.

103:16 Que pasó el viento por ella, y pereció: Y su lugar no la conoce más.

103:16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.

103:17 Mas la misericordia de Jehová desde el siglo y hasta el siglo sobre los que le temen, Y su justicia sobre los hijos de los hijos;

103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;

103:18 Sobre los que guardan su pacto, Y los que se acuerdan de sus mandamientos para ponerlos por obra.

103:18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.

103:19 Jehová afirmó en los cielos su trono; Y su reino domina sobre todos.

103:19 The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all.

103:20 Bendecid á Jehová, vosotros sus ángeles, Poderosos en fortaleza, que ejecutáis su palabra, Obedeciendo á la voz de su precepto.

103:20 Bless the LORD, all of you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

104:2 El que se cubre de luz como de vestidura, Que extiende los cielos como una cortina;

104:2 Who cover yourself with light as with a garment: who stretch out the heavens like a curtain:

104:3 Que establece sus aposentos entre las aguas; El que pone las nubes por su carroza, El que anda sobre las alas del viento;

104:3 Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:

104:4 El que hace á sus ángeles espíritus, Sus ministros al fuego flameante.

104:4 Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:

104:5 El fundó la tierra sobre sus basas; No será jamás removida.

104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.

104:6 Con el abismo, como con vestido, la cubriste; Sobre los montes estaban las aguas.

104:6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.

104:7 A tu reprensión huyeron; Al sonido de tu trueno se apresuraron;

104:7 At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away.

104:8 Subieron los montes, descendieron los valles, Al lugar que tú les fundaste.

104:8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them.

104:9 Pusísteles término, el cual no traspasarán; Ni volverán á cubrir la tierra.

104:9 You have set a bound that they may not pass over; that they turn not again to cover the earth.

104:10 Tú eres el que envías las fuentes por los arroyos; Van entre los montes.

104:10 He sends the springs into the valleys, which run among the hills.

104:11 Abrevan á todas las bestias del campo: Quebrantan su sed los asnos montaraces.

104:11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

104:12 Junto á aquellos habitarán las aves de los cielos; Entre las ramas dan voces.

104:12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.

104:13 El que riega los montes desde sus aposentos: Del fruto de sus obras se sacia la tierra.

104:13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.

104:14 El que hace producir el heno para las bestias, Y la hierba para el servicio del hombre; Sacando el pan de la tierra.

104:14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;

104:15 Y el vino que alegra el corazón del hombre, Y el aceite que hace lucir el rostro, Y el pan que sustenta el corazón del hombre.

104:15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.

104:16 Llénanse de jugo los árboles de Jehová, Los cedros del Líbano que él plantó.

104:16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;

104:17 Allí anidan las aves; En las hayas hace su casa la cigüeña.

104:17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.

104:18 Los montes altos para las cabras monteses; Las peñas, madrigueras para los conejos.

104:18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.

104:19 Hizo la luna para los tiempos: El sol conoce su ocaso.

104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.

104:20 Pone las tinieblas, y es la noche: En ella corretean todas las bestias de la selva.

104:20 You make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.

104:21 Los leoncillos braman á la presa, Y para buscar de Dios su comida.

104:21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.

104:22 Sale el sol, recógense, Y échanse en sus cuevas.

104:22 The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.

104:23 Sale el hombre á su hacienda, Y á su labranza hasta la tarde.

104:23 Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.

104:24 Cuán muchas son tus obras, oh Jehová! Hiciste todas ellas con sabiduría: La tierra está llena de tus beneficios.

104:24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.

104:25 Asimismo esta gran mar y ancha de términos: En ella pescados sin número, Animales pequeños y grandes.

104:25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.

104:26 Allí andan navíos; Allí este leviathán que hiciste para que jugase en ella.

104:26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan (p. sea serpent), whom you have made to play therein.

104:27 Todos ellos esperan en ti, Para que les des su comida á su tiempo.

104:27 These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season.

104:28 Les das, recogen; Abres tu mano, hártanse de bien.

104:28 That you give them they gather: you open yours hand, they are filled with good.

104:29 Escondes tu rostro, túrbanse: Les quitas el espíritu, dejan de ser, Y tórnanse en su polvo.

104:29 You hide your face, they are troubled: you take away their breath, they die, and return to their dust.

104:30 Envías tu espíritu, críanse: Y renuevas la haz de la tierra.

104:30 You send forth your spirit, they are created: and you renew the face of the earth.

104:31 Sea la gloria de Jehová para siempre; Alégrese Jehová en sus obras;

104:31 The glory of the LORD shall endure for ever: the LORD shall rejoice in his works.

104:32 El cual mira á la tierra, y ella tiembla; Toca los montes, y humean.

104:32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles: he touches the hills, and they smoke.

104:33 A Jehová cantaré en mi vida: A mi Dios salmearé mientras viviere.

104:33 I will sing unto the LORD as long as I live: I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.

104:34 Serme ha suave hablar de él: Yo me alegraré en Jehová.

104:34 My meditation of him shall be sweet: I will be glad in the LORD.

105:11 Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:

105:12 Esto siendo ellos pocos hombres en número, Y extranjeros en ella.

105:12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.

105:13 Y anduvieron de gente en gente, De un reino á otro pueblo.

105:13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;

105:14 No consintió que hombre los agraviase; Y por causa de ellos castigó los reyes.

105:14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;

105:15 No toquéis, dijo, á mis ungidos, Ni hagáis mal á mis profetas.

105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.

105:16 Y llamó al hambre sobre la tierra, Y quebrantó todo mantenimiento de pan.

105:16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.

105:17 Envió un varón delante de ellos, A José, que fué vendido por siervo.

105:17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:

105:18 Afligieron sus pies con grillos; En hierro fué puesta su persona.

105:18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:

105:19 Hasta la hora que llegó su palabra, El dicho de Jehová le probó.

105:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.

105:20 Envió el rey, y soltóle; El señor de los pueblos, y desatóle.

105:20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.

105:21 Púsolo por señor de su casa, Y por enseñoreador en toda su posesión;

105:21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:

105:22 Para que reprimiera á sus grandes como él quisiese, Y á sus ancianos enseñara sabiduría.

105:22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.

105:23 Después entró Israel en Egipto, Y Jacob fué extranjero en la tierra de Châm.

105:23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.

105:24 Y multiplicó su pueblo en gran manera, E hízolo fuerte más que sus enemigos.

105:24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.

105:25 Volvió el corazón de ellos para que aborreciesen á su pueblo, Para que contra sus siervos pensasen mal.

105:25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtlely with his servants.

105:26 Envió á su siervo Moisés, Y á Aarón al cual escogió.

105:26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.

105:27 Pusieron en ellos las palabras de sus señales, Y sus prodigios en la tierra de Châm.

105:27 They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.

105:28 Echó tinieblas, é hizo oscuridad; Y no fueron rebeldes á su palabra.

105:28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.

105:29 Volvió sus aguas en sangre, Y mató sus pescados.

105:29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.

105:30 Produjo su tierra ranas, Aun en las cámaras de sus reyes.

105:30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.

105:31 Dijo, y vinieron enjambres de moscas, Y piojos en todo su término.

105:31 He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.

105:32 Volvió en su tierra sus lluvias en granizo, Y en fuego de llamaradas.

105:32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.

105:33 E hirió sus viñas y sus higueras, Y quebró los árboles de su término.

105:33 He stroke their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.

105:34 Dijo, y vinieron langostas, Y pulgón sin número;

105:34 He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,

105:35 Y comieron toda la hierba de su país, Y devoraron el fruto de su tierra.

105:35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.

105:36 Hirió además á todos los primogénitos en su tierra, El principio de toda su fuerza.

105:36 He stroke also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.

105:37 Y sacólos con plata y oro; Y no hubo en sus tribus enfermo.

105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.

105:38 Egipto se alegró de que salieran; Porque su terror había caído sobre ellos.

105:38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.

105:39 Extendió una nube por cubierta, Y fuego para alumbrar la noche.

105:39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.

105:40 Pidieron, é hizo venir codornices; Y saciólos de pan del cielo.

105:40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.

105:41 Abrió la peña, y fluyeron aguas; Corrieron por los secadales como un río.

105:41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.

105:42 Porque se acordó de su santa palabra, Dada á Abraham su siervo.

105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.

105:43 Y sacó á su pueblo con gozo; Con júbilo á sus escogidos.

105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:

105:44 Y dióles las tierras de las gentes; Y las labores de las naciones heredaron:

105:44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;

105:45 Para que guardasen sus estatutos, Y observasen sus leyes. Aleluya.

105:45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise all of you the LORD.

106:1 ALELUYA. Alabad á Jehová, porque es bueno; Porque para siempre es su misericordia.

106:1 Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

106:2 ¿Quién expresará las valentías de Jehová? ¿Quién contará sus alabanzas?

106:2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?

106:3 Dichosos los que guardan juicio, Los que hacen justicia en todo tiempo.

106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.

106:4 Acuérdate de mí, oh Jehová, según tu benevolencia para con tu pueblo: Visítame con tu salud;

106:4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that you bear unto your people: O visit me with your salvation;

106:5 Para que yo vea el bien de tus escogidos, Para que me goce en la alegría de tu gente, Y me gloríe con tu heredad.

106:5 That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with yours inheritance.

106:6 Pecamos con nuestros padres, Hicimos iniquidad, hicimos impiedad.

106:6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.

106:7 Nuestros padres en Egipto no entendieron tus maravillas; No se acordaron de la muchedumbre de tus misericordias; Sino que se rebelaron junto á la mar, en el mar Bermejo.

106:7 Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.

106:8 Salvólos empero por amor de su nombre, Para hacer notoria su fortaleza.

106:8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.

106:9 Y reprendió al mar Bermejo, y secólo; E hízoles ir por el abismo, como por un desierto.

106:9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.

106:10 Y salvólos de mano del enemigo, Y rescatólos de mano del adversario.

106:10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.

106:11 Y cubrieron las aguas á sus enemigos: No quedó uno de ellos.

106:11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.

106:12 Entonces creyeron á sus palabras, Y cantaron su alabanza.

106:12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.

106:13 Apresuráronse, olvidáronse de sus obras; No esperaron en su consejo.

106:13 They soon forgotten about his works; they waited not for his counsel:

106:14 Y desearon con ansia en el desierto; Y tentaron á Dios en la soledad.

106:14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.

106:15 Y él les dió lo que pidieron; Mas envió flaqueza en sus almas.

106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.

106:16 Tomaron después celo contra Moisés en el campo, Y contra Aarón el santo de Jehová.

106:16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.

106:17 Abrióse la tierra, y tragó á Dathán, Y cubrió la compañía de Abiram.

106:17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.

106:18 Y encendióse el fuego en su junta; La llama quemó los impíos.

106:18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.

106:19 Hicieron becerro en Horeb, Y encorváronse á un vaciadizo.

106:19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.

106:20 Así trocaron su gloria Por la imagen de un buey que come hierba.

106:20 Thus they changed their glory into the embodiment of an ox that eats grass.

106:21 Olvidaron al Dios de su salud, Que había hecho grandezas en Egipto;

106:21 They forgotten about God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;

106:22 Maravillas en la tierra de Châm, Cosas formidables sobre el mar Bermejo.

106:22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.

106:23 Y trató de destruirlos, A no haberse puesto Moisés su escogido al portillo delante de él, A fin de apartar su ira, para que no los destruyese.

106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.

106:24 Empero aborrecieron la tierra deseable: No creyeron á su palabra;

106:24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:

106:25 Antes murmuraron en sus tiendas, Y no oyeron la voz de Jehová.

106:25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.

106:26 Por lo que alzó su mano á ellos, En orden á postrarlos en el desierto,

106:26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:

106:27 Y humillar su simiente entre las gentes, Y esparcirlos por las tierras.

106:27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.

106:28 Allegáronse asimismo á Baalpeor, Y comieron los sacrificios de los muertos.

106:28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.

106:29 Y ensañaron á Dios con sus obras, Y desarrollóse la mortandad en ellos.

106:29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.

106:30 Entonces se levantó Phinees, é hizo juicio; Y se detuvo la plaga.

106:30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.

106:31 Y fuéle contado á justicia De generación en generación para siempre.

106:31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.

106:32 También le irritaron en las aguas de Meriba: E hizo mal á Moisés por causa de ellos;

106:32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:

106:33 Porque hicieron se rebelase su espíritu, Como lo expresó con sus labios.

106:33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke without due consideration with his lips.

106:34 No destruyeron los pueblos Que Jehová les dijo;

106:34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:

106:35 Antes se mezclaron con las gentes, Y aprendieron sus obras.

106:35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.

106:36 Y sirvieron á sus ídolos; Los cuales les fueron por ruina.

106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.

106:37 Y sacrificaron sus hijos y sus hijas á los demonios;

106:37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,

106:38 Y derramaron la sangre inocente, la sangre de sus hijos y de sus hijas, Que sacrificaron á los ídolos de Canaán: Y la tierra fué contaminada con sangre.

106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.

106:39 Contamináronse así con sus obras, Y fornicaron con sus hechos.

106:39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.

106:40 Encendióse por tanto el furor de Jehová sobre su pueblo, Y abominó su heredad:

106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.

106:41 Y entrególos en poder de las gentes, Y enseñoreáronse de ellos los que los aborrecían.

106:41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.

106:42 Y sus enemigos los oprimieron, Y fueron quebrantados debajo de su mano.

106:42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.

106:43 Muchas veces los libró; Mas ellos se rebelaron á su consejo, Y fueron humillados por su maldad.

106:43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.

106:44 El con todo, miraba cuando estaban en angustia, Y oía su clamor:

106:44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:

106:45 Y acordábase de su pacto con ellos, Y arrepentíase conforme á la muchedumbre de sus miseraciones.

106:45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.

106:46 Hizo asimismo tuviesen de ellos misericordia todos los que los tenían cautivos.

106:46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.

106:47 Sálvanos, Jehová Dios nuestro, Y júntanos de entre las gentes, Para que loemos tu santo nombre, Para que nos gloriemos en tus alabanzas.

106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto your holy name, and to triumph in your praise.

106:48 Bendito Jehová Dios de Israel, Desde el siglo y hasta el siglo: Y diga todo el pueblo, Amén. Aleluya.

106:48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise all of you the LORD.

107:1 ALABAD á Jehová, porque es bueno; Porque para siempre es su misericordia.

107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.

107:2 Digan lo los redimidos de Jehová, Los que ha redimido del poder del enemigo,

107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;

107:3 Y los ha congregado de las tierras, Del oriente y del occidente, Del aquilón y de la mar.

107:3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.

107:4 Anduvieron perdidos por el desierto, por la soledad sin camino, No hallando ciudad de población.

107:4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.

107:5 Hambrientos y sedientos, Su alma desfallecía en ellos.

107:5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.

107:6 Habiendo empero clamado á Jehová en su angustia, Librólos de sus aflicciones:

107:6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.

107:7 Y dirigiólos por camino derecho, Para que viniesen á ciudad de población.

107:7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.

107:8 Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, Y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.

107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

107:9 Porque sació al alma menesterosa, Y llenó de bien al alma hambrienta.

107:9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.

107:10 Los que moraban en tinieblas y sombra de muerte, Aprisionados en aflicción y en hierros;

107:10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;

107:11 Por cuanto fueron rebeldes á las palabras de Jehová, Y aborrecieron el consejo del Altísimo.

107:11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:

107:12 Por lo que quebrantó él con trabajo sus corazones, Cayeron y no hubo quien los ayudase;

107:12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.

107:13 Luego que clamaron á Jehová en su angustia, Librólos de sus aflicciones.

107:13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.

107:14 Sacólos de las tinieblas y de la sombra de muerte, Y rompió sus prisiones.

107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in two.

107:15 Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, Y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.

107:15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

107:16 Porque quebrantó las puertas de bronce, Y desmenuzó los cerrojos de hierro.

107:16 For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in two.

107:17 Los insensatos, á causa del camino de su rebelión Y á causa de sus maldades, fueron afligidos.

107:17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.

107:18 Su alma abominó toda vianda, Y llegaron hasta las puertas de la muerte.

107:18 Their soul detests all manner of food; and they draw near unto the gates of death.

107:19 Mas clamaron á Jehová en su angustia, Y salvólos de sus aflicciones.

107:19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.

107:20 Envió su palabra, y curólos, Y librólos de su ruina.

107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.

107:21 Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, Y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres:

107:21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

107:22 Y sacrifiquen sacrificios de alabanza, Y publiquen sus obras con júbilo.

107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.

107:23 Los que descienden á la mar en navíos, Y hacen negocio en las muchas aguas,

107:23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;

107:24 Ellos han visto las obras de Jehová, Y sus maravillas en el profundo.

107:24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.

107:25 El dijo, é hizo saltar el viento de la tempestad, Que levanta sus ondas.

107:25 For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof.

107:26 Suben á los cielos, descienden á los abismos: Sus almas se derriten con el mal.

107:26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.

107:27 Tiemblan, y titubean como borrachos, Y toda su ciencia es perdida.

107:27 They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their know's end.

107:28 Claman empero á Jehová en su angustia, Y líbralos de sus aflicciones.

107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.

107:29 Hace parar la tempestad en sosiego, Y se apaciguan sus ondas.

107:29 He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.

107:30 Alégranse luego porque se reposaron; Y él los guía al puerto que deseaban.

107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.

107:31 Alaben la misericordia de Jehová, Y sus maravillas para con los hijos de los hombres.

107:31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!

107:32 Y ensálcenlo en la congregación del pueblo; Y en consistorio de ancianos lo alaben.

107:32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.

107:33 El vuelve los ríos en desierto, Y los manantiales de las aguas en secadales;

107:33 He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the fountains into dry ground;

107:34 La tierra fructífera en salados, Por la maldad de los que la habitan.

107:34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.

107:35 Vuelve el desierto en estanques de aguas, Y la tierra seca en manantiales.

107:35 He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into fountains.

107:36 Y allí aposenta á los hambrientos, Y disponen ciudad para habitación;

107:36 And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;

107:37 Y siembran campos, y plantan viñas, Y rinden crecido fruto.

107:37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.

107:38 Y los bendice, y se multiplican en gran manera; Y no disminuye sus bestias.

107:38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease.

107:39 Y luego son menoscabados y abatidos A causa de tiranía, de males y congojas.

107:39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.

107:40 El derrama menosprecio sobre los príncipes, Y les hace andar errados, vagabundos, sin camino:

107:40 He pours contempt upon princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.

107:41 Y levanta al pobre de la miseria, Y hace multiplicar las familias como rebaños de ovejas.

107:41 Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock.

107:42 Vean los rectos, y alégrense; Y toda maldad cierre su boca.

107:42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.

107:43 ¿Quién es sabio y guardará estas cosas, Y entenderá las misericordias de Jehová?

107:43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.

108:1 O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.

108:2 Despiértate, salterio y arpa: Despertaré al alba.

108:2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

108:3 Te alabaré, oh Jehová, entre los pueblos; A ti cantaré salmos entre las naciones.

108:3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations.

108:4 Porque grande más que los cielos es tu misericordia, Y hasta los cielos tu verdad.

108:4 For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reachs unto the clouds.

108:5 Ensálzate, oh Dios, sobre los cielos; Y sobre toda la tierra tu gloria.

108:5 Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth;

108:6 Para que sean librados tus amados, Salva con tu diestra y respóndeme.

108:6 That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.

108:7 Dios habló por su santuario: alegraréme, Repartiré á Sichêm, y mediré el valle de Succoth.

108:7 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.

108:8 Mío es Galaad, mío es Manasés; Y Eprhaim es la fortaleza de mi cabeza; Judá es mi legislador;

108:8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;

108:9 Moab, la vasija de mi lavatorio: Sobre Edom echaré mi calzado; Regocijaréme sobre Palestina.

108:9 Moab is my pot for washing; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.

108:10 ¿Quién me guiará á la ciudad fortalecida? ¿Quién me guiará hasta Idumea?

108:10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?

108:11 Ciertamente tú, oh Dios, que nos habías desechado; Y no salías, oh Dios, con nuestros ejércitos.

108:11 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?

108:12 Danos socorro en la angustia: Porque mentirosa es la salud del hombre.

108:12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.

108:13 En Dios haremos proezas; Y él hollará nuestros enemigos.

108:13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
