Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL 

1:1 Y FUÉ que á los treinta años, en el mes cuarto, á cinco del mes, estando yo en medio de los trasportados junto al río de Chebar, los cielos se abrieron, y vi visiones de Dios.

1:1 Now it came to pass in the thirtieth year, in the fourth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I was among the captives by the river of Chebar, that the heavens were opened, and I saw visions of God.

1:2 A los cinco del mes, que fué en el quinto año de la transmigración del rey Joachîn,

1:2 In the fifth day of the month, which was the fifth year of king Jehoiachin's captivity,

1:3 Fué palabra de Jehová á Ezequiel sacerdote, hijo de Buzi, en la tierra de los Caldeos, junto al río de Chebar; fué allí sobre él la mano de Jehová.

1:3 The word of the LORD came expressly unto Ezekiel the priest, the son of Buzi, in the land of the Chaldeans by the river Chebar; and the hand of the LORD was there upon him.

1:4 Y miré, y he aquí un viento tempestuoso venía del aquilón, una gran nube, con un fuego envolvente, y en derredor suyo un resplandor, y en medio del fuego una cosa que parecía como de ámbar,

1:4 And I looked, and, behold, a whirlwind came out of the north, a great cloud, and a fire setting itself, and a brightness was about it, and out of the midst thereof as the colour of amber, out of the midst of the fire.

1:5 Y en medio de ella, figura de cuatro animales. Y este era su parecer; había en ellos semejanza de hombre.

1:5 Also out of the midst thereof came the likeness of four living creatures. And this was their appearance; they had the likeness of a man.

1:6 Y cada uno tenía cuatro rostros, y cuatro alas.

1:6 And every one had four faces, and every one had four wings.

1:7 Y los pies de ellos eran derechos, y la planta de sus pies como la planta de pie de becerro; y centelleaban á manera de bronce muy bruñido.

1:7 And their feet were straight feet; and the sole of their feet was like the sole of a calf's foot: and they sparkled like the colour of burnished brass.

1:8 Y debajo de sus alas, á sus cuatro lados, tenían manos de hombre; y sus rostros y sus alas por los cuatro lados.

1:8 And they had the hands of a man under their wings on their four sides; and they four had their faces and their wings.

1:9 Con las alas se juntaban el uno al otro. No se volvían cuando andaban; cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro.

1:9 Their wings were joined one to another; they turned not when they went; they went every one straight forward.

1:10 Y la figura de sus rostros era rostro de hombre; y rostro de león á la parte derecha en los cuatro; y á la izquierda rostro de buey en los cuatro; asimismo había en los cuatro rostro de águila.

1:10 As for the likeness of their faces, they four had the face of a man, and the face of a lion, on the right side: and they four had the face of an ox on the left side; they four also had the face of an eagle.

1:11 Tales eran sus rostros; y tenían sus alas extendidas por encima, cada uno dos, las cuales se juntaban; y las otras dos cubrían sus cuerpos.

1:11 Thus were their faces: and their wings were stretched upward; two wings of every one were joined one to another, and two covered their bodies.

1:12 Y cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro: hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; cuando andaban, no se volvían.

1:12 And they went every one straight forward: where the spirit was to go, they went; and they turned not when they went.

1:13 Cuanto á la semejanza de los animales, su parecer era como de carbones de fuego encendidos, como parecer de hachones encendidos: discurría entre los animales; y el fuego resplandecía, y del fuego salían relámpagos.

1:13 As for the likeness of the living creatures, their appearance was like burning coals of fire, and like the appearance of lamps: it went up and down among the living creatures; and the fire was bright, and out of the fire went forth lightning.

1:14 Y los animales corrían y tornaban á semejanza de relámpagos.

1:14 And the living creatures ran and returned as the appearance of a flash of lightning.

1:15 Y estando yo mirando los animales, he aquí una rueda en la tierra junto á los animales, á sus cuatro caras.

1:15 Now as I beheld the living creatures, behold one wheel upon the earth by the living creatures, with his four faces.

1:16 Y el parecer de las ruedas y su obra semejábase al color del topacio. Y las cuatro tenían una misma semejanza: su apariencia y su obra como rueda en medio de rueda.

1:16 The appearance of the wheels and their work was like unto the colour of a beryl: and they four had one likeness: and their appearance and their work was as it were a wheel in the middle of a wheel.

1:17 Cuando andaban, se movían sobre sus cuatro costados: no se volvían cuando andaban.

1:17 When they went, they went upon their four sides: and they turned not when they went.

1:18 Y sus cercos eran altos y espantosos, y llenos de ojos alrededor en las cuatro.

1:18 As for their rings, they were so high that they were dreadful; and their rings were full of eyes round about them four.

1:19 Y cuando los animales andaban, las ruedas andaban junto á ellos: y cuando los animales se levantaban de la tierra, las ruedas se levantaban.

1:19 And when the living creatures went, the wheels went by them: and when the living creatures were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up.

1:20 Hacia donde el espíritu era que anduviesen, andaban; hacia donde era el espíritu que anduviesen, las ruedas también se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

1:20 Anywhere the spirit was to go, they went, thither was their spirit to go; and the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

1:21 Cuando ellos andaban, andaban ellas; y cuando ellos se paraban, se paraban ellas; asimismo cuando se levantaban de la tierra, las ruedas se levantaban tras ellos; porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en las ruedas.

1:21 When those went, these went; and when those stood, these stood; and when those were lifted up from the earth, the wheels were lifted up opposite to them: for the spirit of the living creature was in the wheels.

1:22 Y sobre las cabezas de cada animal aparecía expansión á manera de cristal maravilloso, extendido encima sobre sus cabezas.

1:22 And the likeness of the firmament upon the heads of the living creature was as the colour of the terrible crystal, stretched forth over their heads above.

1:23 Y debajo de la expansión estaban las alas de ellos derechas la una á la otra; á cada uno dos, y otras dos con que se cubrían sus cuerpos.

1:23 And under the firmament were their wings straight, the one toward the other: every one had two, which covered on this side, and every one had two, which covered on that side, their bodies.

1:24 Y oí el sonido de sus alas cuando andaban, como sonido de muchas aguas, como la voz del Omnipotente, como ruido de muchedumbre, como la voz de un ejército. Cuando se paraban, aflojaban sus alas.

1:24 And when they went, I heard the noise of their wings, like the noise of great waters, as the voice of the Almighty, the voice of speech, as the noise of an host: when they stood, they let down their wings.

1:25 Y cuando se paraban y aflojaban sus alas, oíase voz de arriba de la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas.

1:25 And there was a voice from the firmament that was over their heads, when they stood, and had let down their wings.

1:26 Y sobre la expansión que había sobre sus cabezas, veíase la figura de un trono y que parecía de piedra de zafiro; y sobre la figura del trono había una semejanza que parecía de hombre sentado sobre él.

1:26 And above the firmament that was over their heads was the likeness of a throne, as the appearance of a sapphire stone: and upon the likeness of the throne was the likeness as the appearance of a man above upon it.

1:27 Y vi apariencia como de ámbar, como apariencia de fuego dentro de ella en contorno, por el aspecto de sus lomos para arriba; y desde sus lomos para abajo, vi que parecía como fuego, y que tenía resplandor alrededor.

1:27 And I saw as the colour of amber, as the appearance of fire round about within it, from the appearance of his loins even upward, and from the appearance of his loins even downward, I saw as it were the appearance of fire, and it had brightness round about.

1:28 Cual parece el arco del cielo que está en las nubes el día que llueve, así era el parecer del resplandor alrededor. Esta fué la visión de la semejanza de la gloria de Jehová. Y luego que yo la hube visto, caí sobre mi rostro, y oí voz de uno que hablaba.

1:28 As the appearance of the bow that is in the cloud in the day of rain, so was the appearance of the brightness round about. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. And when I saw it, I fell upon my face, and I heard a voice of one that spoke.

2:1 Y DIJOME: Hijo del hombre, está sobre tus pies, y hablaré contigo.

2:1 And he said unto me, Son of man, stand upon your feet, and I will speak unto you.

2:2 Y entró espíritu en mí luego que me habló, y afirmóme sobre mis pies, y oía al que me hablaba.

2:2 And the spirit entered into me when he spoke unto me, and set me upon my feet, that I heard him that spoke unto me.

2:3 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, yo te envío á los hijos de Israel, á gentes rebeldes que se rebelaron contra mí: ellos y sus padres se han rebelado contra mí hasta este mismo día.

2:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, I send you to the children of Israel, to a rebellious nation that has rebelled against me: they and their fathers have transgressed against me, even unto this very day.

2:4 Yo pues te envío á hijos de duro rostro y de empedernido corazón; y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová.

2:4 For they are shameless children and stiff hearted. I do send you unto them; and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD.

2:5 Acaso ellos escuchen; y si no escucharen, (porque son una rebelde familia,) siempre conocerán que hubo profeta entre ellos.

2:5 And they, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear, (for they are a rebellious house,) yet shall know that there has been a prophet among them.

2:6 Y tú, hijo del hombre, no temas de ellos, ni tengas miedo de sus palabras, aunque te hallas entre zarzas y espinas, y tú moras con escorpiones: no tengas miedo de sus palabras, ni temas delante de ellos, porque son casa rebelde.

2:6 And you, son of man, be not afraid of them, neither be afraid of their words, though briers and thorns be with you, and you do dwell among scorpions: be not afraid of their words, nor be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

2:7 Les hablarás pues mis palabras, escuchen ó dejen de escuchar; porque son muy rebeldes.

2:7 And you shall speak my words unto them, whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear: for they are most rebellious.

2:8 Mas tú, hijo del hombre, oye lo que yo te hablo; no seas tú rebelde como la casa rebelde: abre tu boca, y come lo que yo te doy.

2:8 But you, son of man, hear what I say unto you; Be not you rebellious like that rebellious house: open your mouth, and eat that I give you.

2:9 Y miré, y he aquí una mano me fué enviada, y en ella había un rollo de libro.

2:9 And when I looked, behold, an hand was sent unto me; and, lo, a roll of a book was therein;

2:10 Y extendiólo delante de mí, y estaba escrito delante y detrás: y había escritas en él endechas, y lamentación, y ayes.

2:10 And he spread it before me; and it was written within and without: and there was written therein lamentations, and mourning, and woe.

3:1 Y DIJOME: Hijo del hombre, come lo que hallares; come este rollo, y ve y habla á la casa de Israel.

3:1 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, eat that you find; eat this roll, and go speak unto the house of Israel.

3:2 Y abrí mi boca, é hízome comer aquel rollo.

3:2 So I opened my mouth, and he caused me to eat that roll.

3:3 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, haz á tu vientre que coma, é hinche tus entrañas de este rollo que yo te doy. Y comílo, y fué en mi boca dulce como miel.

3:3 And he said unto me, Son of man, cause your belly to eat, and fill your bowels with this roll that I give you. Then did I eat it; and it was in my mouth as honey for sweetness.

3:4 Díjome luego: Hijo del hombre, ve y entra á la casa de Israel, y habla á ellos con mis palabras.

3:4 And he said unto me, Son of man, go, get you unto the house of Israel, and speak with my words unto them.

3:5 Porque no eres enviado á pueblo de habla profunda ni de lengua difícil, sino á la casa de Israel.

3:5 For you are not sent to a people of a strange speech and of an hard language, but to the house of Israel;

3:6 No á muchos pueblos de profunda habla ni de lengua difícil, cuyas palabras no entiendas; y si á ellos te enviara, ellos te oyeran.

3:6 Not to many people of a strange speech and of an hard language, whose words you can not understand. Surely, had I sent you to them, they would have hearkened unto you.

3:7 Mas la casa de Israel no te querrán oir, porque no me quieren oír á mí: porque toda la casa de Israel son tiesos de frente, y duros de corazón.

3:7 But the house of Israel will not hearken unto you; for they will not hearken unto me: for all the house of Israel are shameless and hardhearted.

3:8 He aquí he hecho yo tu rostro fuerte contra los rostros de ellos, y tu frente fuerte contra su frente.

3:8 Behold, I have made your face strong against their faces, and your forehead strong against their foreheads.

3:9 Como diamante, más fuerte que pedernal he hecho tu frente; no los temas, ni tengas miedo delante de ellos, porque es casa rebelde.

3:9 As an adamant harder than flint have I made your forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.

3:10 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, toma en tu corazón todas mis palabras que yo te hablaré, y oye con tus oídos.

3:10 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, all my words that I shall speak unto you receive in yours heart, and hear with yours ears.

3:11 Y ve, y entra á los trasportados, á los hijos de tu pueblo, y les hablarás y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová; escuchen, ó dejen de escuchar.

3:11 And go, get you to them of the captivity, unto the children of your people, and speak unto them, and tell them, Thus says the Lord GOD; whether they will hear, or whether they will forbear.

3:12 Y levantóme el espíritu, y oí detrás de mí una voz de grande estruendo, que decía: Bendita sea la gloria de Jehová desde su lugar.

3:12 Then the spirit took me up, and I heard behind me a voice of a great rushing, saying, Blessed be the glory of the LORD from his place.

3:13 Oí también el sonido de las alas de los animales que se juntaban la una con la otra, y el sonido de las ruedas delante de ellos, y sonido de grande estruendo.

3:13 I heard also the noise of the wings of the living creatures that touched one another, and the noise of the wheels opposite to them, and a noise of a great rushing.

3:14 Levantóme pues el espíritu, y me tomó; y fuí en amargura, en la indignación de mi espíritu: mas la mano de Jehová era fuerte sobre mí.

3:14 So the spirit lifted me up, and took me away, and I went in bitterness, in the heat of my spirit; but the hand of the LORD was strong upon me.

3:15 Y vine á los trasportados en Telabib, que moraban junto al río de Chebar, y asenté donde ellos estaban asentados, y allí permanecí siete días atónito entre ellos.

3:15 Then I came to them of the captivity at Telabib, that dwelt by the river of Chebar, and I sat where they sat, and remained there astonished among them seven days.

3:16 Y aconteció que al cabo de los siete días fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

3:16 And it came to pass at the end of seven days, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

3:17 Hijo del hombre, yo te he puesto por atalaya á la casa de Israel: oirás pues tú la palabra de mi boca, y amonestarlos has de mi parte.

3:17 Son of man, I have made you a watchman unto the house of Israel: therefore hear the word at my mouth, and give them warning from me.

3:18 Cuando yo dijere al impío: De cierto morirás: y tú no le amonestares, ni le hablares, para que el impío sea apercibido de su mal camino, á fin de que viva, el impío morirá por su maldad, mas su sangre demandaré de tu mano.

3:18 When I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; and you give him not warning, nor speak to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at yours hand.

3:19 Y si tú amonestares al impío, y él no se convirtiere de su impiedad, y de su mal camino, él morirá por su maldad, y tú habrás librado tu alma.

3:19 Yet if you warn the wicked, and he turn not from his wickedness, nor from his wicked way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

3:20 Y cuando el justo se apartare de su justicia, é hiciere maldad, y pusiere yo tropiezo delante de él, él morirá, porque tú no le amonestaste; en su pecado morirá, y sus justicias que había hecho no vendrán en memoria; mas su sangre demandaré de tu mano.

3:20 Again, When a righteous man does turn from his righteousness, and commit iniquity, and I lay a stumbling-block before him, he shall die: because you have not given him warning, he shall die in his sin, and his righteousness which he has done shall not be remembered; but his blood will I require at yours hand.

3:21 Y si al justo amonestares para que el justo no peque, y no pecare, de cierto vivirá, porque fué amonestado; y tú habrás librado tu alma.

3:21 Nevertheless if you warn the righteous man, that the righteous sin not, and he does not sin, he shall surely live, because he is warned; also you have delivered your soul.

3:22 Y fué allí la mano de Jehová sobre mí, y díjome: Levántate, y sal al campo, y allí hablaré contigo.

3:22 And the hand of the LORD was there upon me; and he said unto me, Arise, go forth into the plain, and I will there talk with you.

3:23 Y levantéme, y salí al campo: y he aquí que allí estaba la gloria de Jehová, como la gloria que había visto junto al río de Chebar: y caí sobre mi rostro.

3:23 Then I arose, and went forth into the plain: and, behold, the glory of the LORD stood there, as the glory which I saw by the river of Chebar: and I fell on my face.

3:24 Entonces entró espíritu en mí, y afirmóme sobre mis pies, y hablóme, y díjome: Entra, y enciérrate dentro de tu casa.

3:24 Then the spirit entered into me, and set me upon my feet, and spoke with me, and said unto me, Go, shut yourself within yours house.

3:25 Y tú, oh hijo del hombre, he aquí que pondrán sobre ti cuerdas, y con ellas te ligarán, y no saldrás entre ellos.

3:25 But you, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands upon you, and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them:

3:26 Y haré se pegue tu lengua á tu paladar, y estarás mudo, y no serás á ellos varón que reprende: porque son casa rebelde.

3:26 And I will make your tongue cleave to the roof of your mouth, that you shall be dumb, and shall not be to them a reprover: for they are a rebellious house.

3:27 Mas cuando yo te hubiere hablado, abriré tu boca, y les dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El que oye, oiga; y el que cesa, cese: porque casa rebelde son.

3:27 But when I speak with you, I will open your mouth, and you shall say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; He that hears, let him hear; and he that forbears, let him forbear: for they are a rebellious house.

4:1 Y TU, hijo del hombre, tómate un adobe, y ponlo delante de tí, y diseña sobre él la ciudad de Jerusalem:

4:1 You also, son of man, take you a tile, and lay it before you, and illustrate upon it the city, even Jerusalem:

4:2 Y pondrás contra ella cerco, y edificarás contra ella fortaleza, y sacarás contra ella baluarte, y asentarás delante de ella campo, y pondrás contra ella arietes alrededor.

4:2 And lay siege against it, and build a fort against it, and cast a mount against it; set the camp also against it, and set battering rams against it round about.

4:3 Tómate también una plancha de hierro, y ponla en lugar de muro de hierro entre ti y la ciudad: afirmarás luego tu rostro contra ella, y será en lugar de cerco, y la sitiarás. Es señal á la casa de Israel.

4:3 Moreover take you unto you an iron pan, and set it for a wall of iron between you and the city: and set your face against it, and it shall be besieged, and you shall lay siege against it. This shall be a sign to the house of Israel.

4:4 Y tú dormirás sobre tu lado izquierdo, y pondrás sobre él la maldad de la casa de Israel: el número de los días que dormirás sobre él, llevarás sobre ti la maldad de ellos.

4:4 Lie you also upon your left side, and lay the iniquity of the house of Israel upon it: according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon it you shall bear their iniquity.

4:5 Yo te he dado los años de su maldad por el número de los días, trescientos y noventa días: y llevarás la maldad de la casa de Israel.

4:5 For I have laid upon you the years of their iniquity, according to the number of the days, three hundred and ninety days: so shall you bear the iniquity of the house of Israel.

4:6 Y cumplidos estos, dormirás sobre tu lado derecho segunda vez, y llevarás la maldad de la casa de Judá cuarenta días: día por año, día por año te lo he dado.

4:6 And when you have accomplished them, lie again on your right side, and you shall bear the iniquity of the house of Judah forty days: I have appointed you each day for a year.

4:7 Y al cerco de Jerusalem afirmarás tu rostro, y descubierto tu brazo, profetizarás contra ella.

4:7 Therefore you shall set your face toward the siege of Jerusalem, and yours arm shall be uncovered, and you shall prophesy against it.

4:8 Y he aquí he puesto sobre ti cuerdas, y no te tornarás del un tu lado al otro lado, hasta que hayas cumplido los días de tu cerco.

4:8 And, behold, I will lay bands upon you, and you shall not turn you from one side to another, till you have ended the days of your siege.

4:9 Y tú toma para ti trigo, y cebada, y habas, y lentejas, y mijo, y avena, y ponlo en una vasija, y hazte pan de ello el número de los días que durmieres sobre tu lado: trescientos y noventa días comerás de él.

4:9 Take you also unto you wheat, and barley, and beans, and lentils, and millet, and fitches, and put them in one vessel, and make you bread thereof, according to the number of the days that you shall lie upon your side, three hundred and ninety days shall you eat thereof.

4:10 Y la comida que has de comer será por peso de veinte siclos al día: de tiempo á tiempo lo comerás.

4:10 And your food which you shall eat shall be by weight, twenty shekels a day: from time to time shall you eat it.

4:11 Y beberás el agua por medida, la sexta parte de un hin: de tiempo á tiempo beberás.

4:11 You shall drink also water by measure, the sixth part of an hin: from time to time shall you drink.

4:12 Y comerás pan de cebada cocido debajo de la ceniza; y lo cocerás á vista de ellos con los estiércoles que salen del hombre.

4:12 And you shall eat it as barley cakes, and you shall bake it with dung that comes out of man, in their sight.

4:13 Y dijo Jehová: Así comerán los hijos de Israel su pan inmundo, entre las gentes á donde los lanzaré yo.

4:13 And the LORD said, Even thus shall the children of Israel eat their defiled bread among the Gentiles, where I will drive them.

4:14 Y dije: ¡Ah Señor Jehová! he aquí que mi alma no es inmunda, ni nunca desde mi mocedad hasta este tiempo comí cosa mortecina ni despedazada, ni nunca en mi boca entró carne inmunda.

4:14 Then said I, Ah Lord GOD! behold, my soul has not been polluted: for from my youth up even till now have I not eaten of that which dies of itself, or is torn in pieces; neither came there abominable flesh into my mouth.

4:15 Y respondióme: He aquí te doy estiércoles de bueyes en lugar de los estiércoles de hombre, y dispondrás tu pan con ellos.

4:15 Then he said unto me, Lo, I have given you cow's dung for man's dung, and you shall prepare your bread therewith.

4:16 Díjome luego: Hijo del hombre, he aquí quebrantaré el sostén del pan en Jerusalem, y comerán el pan por peso, y con angustia; y beberán el agua por medida, y con espanto.

4:16 Moreover he said unto me, Son of man, behold, I will break the staff of bread in Jerusalem: and they shall eat bread by weight, and with care; and they shall drink water by measure, and with astonishment:

4:17 Porque les faltará el pan y el agua, y se espantarán los unos con los otros, y se consumirán por su maldad.

4:17 That they may lack bread and water, and be astonished one with another, and consume away for their iniquity.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

5:1 Y TU, hijo del hombre, tómate un cuchillo agudo, una navaja de barbero toma, y hazla pasar sobre tu cabeza y tu barba: tómate después un peso de balanza, y reparte los pelos.

5:1 And you, son of man, take you a sharp knife, take you a barber's razor, and cause it to pass upon yours head and upon your beard: then take you balances to weigh, and divide the hair.

5:2 Una tercera parte quemarás con fuego en medio de la ciudad, cuando se cumplieren los días del cerco, y tomarás una tercera parte, y herirás con cuchillo alrededor de ella; y una tercera parte esparcirás al viento, y yo desenvainaré espada en pos de ellos.

5:2 You shall burn with fire a third part in the midst of the city, when the days of the siege are fulfilled: and you shall take a third part, and strike about it with a knife: and a third part you shall scatter in the wind; and I will draw out a sword after them.

5:3 Tomarás también de allí unos pocos por cuenta, y los atarás en el canto de tu ropa.

5:3 You shall also take thereof a few in number, and bind them in your skirts.

5:4 Y tomarás otra vez de ellos, y los echarás en mitad del fuego, y en el fuego los quemarás: de allí saldrá el fuego en toda la casa de Israel.

5:4 Then take of them again, and cast them into the midst of the fire, and burn them in the fire; for thereof shall a fire come forth into all the house of Israel.

5:5 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Esta es Jerusalem: púsela en medio de las gentes y de las tierras alrededor de ella.

5:5 Thus says the Lord GOD; This is Jerusalem: I have set it in the midst of the nations and countries that are round about her.

5:6 Y ella mudó mis juicios y mis ordenanzas en impiedad más que las gentes, y más que las tierras que están alrededor de ella; porque desecharon mis juicios y mis mandamientos, y no anduvieron en ellos.

5:6 And she has changed my judgments into wickedness more than the nations, and my statutes more than the countries that are round about her: for they have refused my judgments and my statutes, they have not walked in them.

5:7 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: ¿Por haberos multiplicado más que á las gentes que están alrededor de vosotros, no habéis andado en mis mandamientos, ni habéis guardado mis leyes? Ni aun según las leyes de las gentes que están alrededor de vosotros habéis hecho.

5:7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you multiplied more than the nations that are round about you, and have not walked in my statutes, neither have kept my judgments, neither have done according to the judgments of the nations that are round about you;

5:8 Así pues ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti; si, yo, y haré juicios en medio de ti á los ojos de las naciones.

5:8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, am against you, and will execute judgments in the midst of you in the sight of the nations.

5:9 Y haré en ti lo que nunca hice, ni jamás haré cosa semejante, á causa de todas tus abominaciones.

5:9 And I will do in you that which I have not done, and unto which I will not do any more the like, because of all yours abominations.

5:10 Por eso los padres comerán á los hijos en medio de ti, y los hijos comerán á sus padres; y haré en ti juicios, y esparciré á todos vientos todo tu residuo.

5:10 Therefore the fathers shall eat the sons in the midst of you, and the sons shall eat their fathers; and I will execute judgments in you, and the whole remnant of you will I scatter into all the winds.

5:11 Por tanto, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, ciertamente por haber violado mi santuario con todas tus abominaciones, te quebrantaré yo también: mi ojo no perdonará, ni tampoco tendré yo misericordia.

5:11 Wherefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD; Surely, because you have defiled my sanctuary with all your detestable things, and with all yours abominations, therefore will I also diminish you; neither shall mine eye spare, neither will I have any pity.

5:12 Una tercera parte de ti morirá de pestilencia, y de hambre será consumida en medio de ti; y una tercera parte caerá á cuchillo alrededor de ti; y una tercera parte esparciré á todos los vientos, y tras ellos desenvainaré espada.

5:12 A third part of you shall die with the pestilence, and with famine shall they be consumed in the midst of you: and a third part shall fall by the sword round about you; and I will scatter a third part into all the winds, and I will draw out a sword after them.

5:13 Y cumpliráse mi furor, y haré que repose en ellos mi enojo, y tomaré satisfacción: y sabrán que yo Jehová he hablado en mi celo, cuando habré cumplido en ellos mi enojo.

5:13 Thus shall mine anger be accomplished, and I will cause my fury to rest upon them, and I will be comforted: and they shall know that I the LORD have spoken it in my zeal, when I have accomplished my fury in them.

5:14 Y te tornaré en desierto y en oprobio entre las gentes que están alrededor de ti, á los ojos de todo transeunte.

5:14 Moreover I will make you waste, and a reproach among the nations that are round about you, in the sight of all that pass by.

5:15 Y serás oprobio, y escarnio, y escarmiento, y espanto á las gentes que están alrededor de ti, cuando yo hiciere en ti juicios en furor é indignación, y en reprensiones de ira. Yo Jehová he hablado.

5:15 So it shall be a reproach and a taunt, an instruction and an astonishment unto the nations that are round about you, when I shall execute judgments in you in anger and in fury and in furious rebukes. I the LORD have spoken it.

5:16 Cuando arrojare yo sobre ellos las perniciosas saetas del hambre, que serán para destrucción, las cuales enviaré para destruiros, entonces aumentaré el hambre sobre vosotros, y quebrantaré entre vosotros el arrimo del pan.

5:16 When I shall send upon them the evil arrows of famine, which shall be for their destruction, and which I will send to destroy you: and I will increase the famine upon you, and will break your staff of bread:

5:17 Enviaré pues sobre vosotros hambre, y malas bestias que te destruyan; y pestilencia y sangre pasarán por ti; y meteré sobre ti cuchillo. Yo Jehová he hablado.

5:17 So will I send upon you famine and evil beasts, and they shall bereave you: and pestilence and blood shall pass through you; and I will bring the sword upon you. I the LORD have spoken it.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

6:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

6:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

6:2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los montes de Israel, y profetiza contra ellos.

6:2 Son of man, set your face toward the mountains of Israel, and prophesy against them,

6:3 Y dirás: Montes de Israel, oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y á los collados, á los arroyos y á los valles: He aquí que yo, yo haré venir sobre vosotros cuchillo, y destruiré vuestros altos.

6:3 And say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys; Behold, I, even I, will bring a sword upon you, and I will destroy your high places.

6:4 Y vuestros altares serán asolados, y vuestras imágenes del sol serán quebradas: y haré que caigan vuestros muertos delante de vuestros ídolos.

6:4 And your altars shall be desolate, and your images shall be broken: and I will cast down your slain men before your idols.

6:5 Y pondré los cuerpos muertos de los hijos de Israel delante de sus ídolos; y vuestros huesos esparciré en derredor de vuestros altares.

6:5 And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before their idols; and I will scatter your bones round about your altars.

6:6 En todas vuestras habitaciones las ciudades serán desiertas, y los altos serán asolados, para que sean asolados y se hagan desiertos vuestros altares; y quebrados serán vuestros ídolos, y cesarán; y vuestras imágenes del sol serán destruídas, y vuestras obras serán desechas.

6:6 In all your dwelling places the cities shall be laid waste, and the high places shall be desolate; that your altars may be laid waste and made desolate, and your idols may be broken and cease, and your images may be cut down, and your works may be abolished.

6:7 Y los muertos caerán en medio de vosotros; y sabréis que soy Jehová.

6:7 And the slain shall fall in the midst of you, and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

6:8 Mas dejaré que haya de vosotros quien escape del cuchillo entre las gentes, cuando fuereis esparcidos por las tierras.

6:8 Yet will I leave a remnant, that all of you may have some that shall escape the sword among the nations, when all of you shall be scattered through the countries.

6:9 Y los que de vosotros escaparen, se acordarán de mí entre las gentes entre las cuales serán cautivos: porque yo me quebranté á causa de su corazón fornicario, que se apartó de mí, y á causa de sus ojos, que fornicaron tras sus ídolos: y se avergonzarán de sí mismos, á causa de los males que hicieron en todas sus abominaciones.

6:9 And they that escape of you shall remember me among the nations where they shall be carried captives, because I am broken with their whorish heart, which has departed from me, and with their eyes, which go a whoring after their idols: and they shall loathe themselves for the evils which they have committed in all their abominations.

6:10 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová: no en vano dije que les había de hacer este mal.

6:10 And they shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have not said in vain that I would do this evil unto them.

6:11 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Hiere con tu mano, y huella con tu pie, y di: ¡Ay de los males de la casa de Israel por todas las abominaciones! porque con cuchillo, y con hambre, y con pestilencia caerán.

6:11 Thus says the Lord GOD; Strike with yours hand, and stamp with your foot, and say, Alas for all the evil abominations of the house of Israel! for they shall fall by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence.

6:12 El que estuviere lejos, morirá de pestilencia; y el que estuviere cerca caerá á cuchillo; y el que quedare, y fuere cercado, morirá de hambre: así cumpliré en ellos mi enojo.

6:12 He that is far off shall die of the pestilence; and he that is near shall fall by the sword; and he that remains and is besieged shall die by the famine: thus will I accomplish my fury upon them.

6:13 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová, cuando sus muertos estarán en medio de sus ídolos, en derredor de sus altares, en todo collado alto, y en todas las cumbres de los montes, y debajo de todo árbol sombrío, y debajo de toda encina espesa, lugares donde dieron olor suave á todos sus ídolos.

6:13 Then shall all of you know that I am the LORD, when their slain men shall be among their idols round about their altars, upon every high hill, in all the tops of the mountains, and under every green tree, and under every thick oak, the place where they did offer sweet savour to all their idols.

6:14 Y extenderé mi mano sobre ellos, y tornaré la tierra asolada y desierta, más que el desierto hacia Diblath, en todas sus habitaciones: y conocerán que yo soy Jehová.

6:14 So will I stretch out my hand upon them, and make the land desolate, yea, more desolate than the wilderness toward Diblath, in all their habitations: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

7:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

7:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

7:2 Y tú, hijo del hombre, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á la tierra de Israel: El fin, el fin viene sobre los cuatro cantones de la tierra.

7:2 Also, you son of man, thus says the Lord GOD unto the land of Israel; An end, the end has come upon the four corners of the land.

7:3 Ahora será el fin sobre ti, y enviaré sobre ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti todas tus abominaciones.

7:3 Now is the end come upon you, and I will send mine anger upon you, and will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense upon you all yours abominations.

7:4 Y mi ojo no te perdonará, ni tendré misericordia; antes pondré sobre ti tus caminos, y en medio de ti estarán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

7:4 And mine eye shall not spare you, neither will I have pity: but I will recompense your ways upon you, and yours abominations shall be in the midst of you: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

7:5 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Un mal, he aquí que viene un mal.

7:5 Thus says the Lord GOD; An evil, an only evil, behold, has come.

7:6 Viene el fin, el fin viene: hase despertado contra ti; he aquí que viene.

7:6 An end has come, the end has come: it watches for you; behold, it has come.

7:7 La mañana viene para ti, oh morador de la tierra; el tiempo viene, cercano está el día; día de alboroto, y no de alegría sobre los montes.

7:7 The morning has come unto you, O you that dwell in the land: the time has come, the day of trouble is near, and not the sounding again of the mountains.

7:8 Ahora presto derramaré mi ira sobre ti, y cumpliré en ti mi furor, y te juzgaré según tus caminos; y pondré sobre ti tus abominaciones.

7:8 Now will I shortly pour out my fury upon you, and accomplish mine anger upon you: and I will judge you according to your ways, and will recompense you for all yours abominations.

7:9 Y mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia: según tus caminos pondré sobre ti, y en medio de ti serán tus abominaciones; y sabréis que yo Jehová soy el que hiero.

7:9 And mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: I will recompense you according to your ways and yours abominations that are in the midst of you; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD that strikes.

7:10 He aquí el día, he aquí que viene: ha salido la mañana; florecido ha la vara, ha reverdecido la soberbia.

7:10 Behold the day, behold, it has come: the morning is gone forth; the rod has blossomed, pride has budded.

7:11 La violencia se ha levantado en vara de impiedad; ninguno quedará de ellos, ni de su multitud, ni uno de los suyos; ni habrá quien de ellos se lamente.

7:11 Violence has risen up into a rod of wickedness: none of them shall remain, nor of their multitude, nor of any of their's: neither shall there be wailing for them.

7:12 El tiempo es venido, acercóse el día: el que compra, no se huelgue, y el que vende, no llore: porque la ira está sobre toda su multitud.

7:12 The time has come, the day draws near: let not the buyer rejoice, nor the seller mourn: for wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

7:13 Porque el que vende no tornará á lo vendido, aunque queden vivos: porque la visión sobre toda su multitud no será cancelada; y ninguno podrá, á causa de su iniquidad, amparar su vida.

7:13 For the seller shall not return to that which is sold, although they were yet alive: for the vision is concerning the whole multitude thereof, which shall not return; neither shall any strengthen himself in the iniquity of his life.

7:14 Tocarán trompeta, y aparejarán todas las cosas, y no habrá quien vaya á la batalla: porque mi ira está sobre toda su multitud.

7:14 They have blown the trumpet, even to make all ready; but none goes to the battle: for my wrath is upon all the multitude thereof.

7:15 De fuera cuchillo, de dentro pestilencia y hambre: el que estuviere en el campo morirá á cuchillo; y al que estuviere en la ciudad, consumirálo hambre y pestilencia.

7:15 The sword is without, and the pestilence and the famine within: he that is in the field shall die with the sword; and he that is in the city, famine and pestilence shall devour him.

7:16 Y los que escaparen de ellos, huirán y estarán sobre los montes como palomas de los valles, gimiendo todos cada uno por su iniquidad.

7:16 But they that escape of them shall escape, and shall be on the mountains like doves of the valleys, all of them mourning, every one for his iniquity.

7:17 Todas manos serán descoyuntadas, y declinarán como aguas todas rodillas.

7:17 All hands shall be feeble, and all knees shall be weak as water.

7:18 Ceñirse han también de sacos, y cubrirálos temblor; y en todo rostro habrá confusión, y en todas sus cabezas peladura.

7:18 They shall also gird themselves with sackcloth, and horror shall cover them; and shame shall be upon all faces, and baldness upon all their heads.

7:19 Arrojarán su plata por las calles, y su oro será desechado; su plata ni su oro, no podrá librarlos en el día del furor de Jehová; no saciarán su alma, ni henchirán sus entrañas: porque ha sido tropiezo para su maldad.

7:19 They shall cast their silver in the streets, and their gold shall be removed: their silver and their gold shall not be able to deliver them in the day of the wrath of the LORD: they shall not satisfy their souls, neither fill their bowels: because it is the stumbling block of their iniquity.

7:20 Por cuanto la gloria de su ornamento pusieron en soberbia, é hicieron en ella imágenes de sus abominaciones, de sus estatuas: por eso se la torné á ellos en alejamiento;

7:20 As for the beauty of his ornament, he set it in majesty: but they made the images of their abominations and of their detestable things therein: therefore have I set it far from them.

7:21 Y en mano de extraños la entregué para ser saqueada, y en despojo á los impíos de la tierra, y la contaminarán.

7:21 And I will give it into the hands of the strangers for a prey, and to the wicked of the earth for a spoil; and they shall pollute it.

7:22 Y apartaré de ellos mi rostro, y violarán mi lugar secreto; pues entrarán en él destruidores, y le profanarán.

7:22 My face will I turn also from them, and they shall pollute my secret place: for the robbers shall enter into it, and defile it.

7:23 Haz una cadena: porque la tierra está llena de juicios de sangres, y la ciudad está llena de violencia.

7:23 Make a chain: for the land is full of bloody crimes, and the city is full of violence.

7:24 Traeré por tanto los más malos de las naciones, los cuales poseerán sus casas; y haré cesar la soberbia de los poderosos, y sus santuarios serán profanados.

7:24 Wherefore I will bring the worst of the heathen, and they shall possess their houses: I will also make the pomp of the strong to cease; and their holy places shall be defiled.

7:25 Destrucción viene; y buscarán la paz, y no la habrá.

7:25 Destruction comes; and they shall seek peace, and there shall be none.

7:26 Quebrantamiento vendrá sobre quebrantamiento, y rumor será sobre rumor; y buscarán respuesta del profeta, mas la ley perecerá del sacerdote, y el consejo de los ancianos.

7:26 Mischief shall come upon mischief, and rumour shall be upon rumour; then shall they seek a vision of the prophet; but the law shall perish from the priest, and counsel from the ancients.

7:27 El rey se enlutará, y el príncipe se vestirá de asolamiento, y las manos del pueblo de la tierra serán conturbadas: según su camino haré con ellos, y con los juicios de ellos los juzgaré; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

7:27 The king shall mourn, and the prince shall be clothed with desolation, and the hands of the people of the land shall be troubled: I will do unto them after their way, and according to their deserts will I judge them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

8:1 Y ACONTECIO en el sexto año, en el mes sexto, á los cinco del mes, que estaba yo sentado en mi casa, y los ancianos de Judá estaban sentados delante de mí, y allí cayó sobre mí la mano del Señor Jehová.

8:1 And it came to pass in the sixth year, in the sixth month, in the fifth day of the month, as I sat in mine house, and the elders of Judah sat before me, that the hand of the Lord GOD fell there upon me.

8:2 Y miré, y he aquí una semejanza que parecía de fuego: desde donde parecían sus lomos para abajo, fuego; y desde sus lomos arriba parecía como resplandor, como la vista de ámbar.

8:2 Then I beheld, and lo a likeness as the appearance of fire: from the appearance of his loins even downward, fire; and from his loins even upward, as the appearance of brightness, as the colour of amber.

8:3 Y aquella semejanza extendió la mano, y tomóme por las guedejas de mi cabeza; y el espíritu me alzó entre el cielo y la tierra, y llevóme en visiones de Dios á Jerusalem, á la entrada de la puerta de adentro que mira hacia el aquilón, donde estaba la habitación de la imagen del celo, la que hacía celar.

8:3 And he put forth the form of an hand, and took me by a lock of mine head; and the spirit lifted me up between the earth and the heaven, and brought me in the visions of God to Jerusalem, to the door of the inner gate that looks toward the north; where was the seat of the image of jealousy, which provokes to jealousy.

8:4 Y he aquí allí estaba la gloria del Dios de Israel, como la visión que yo había visto en el campo.

8:4 And, behold, the glory of the God of Israel was there, according to the vision that I saw in the plain.

8:5 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, alza ahora tus ojos hacia el lado del aquilón. Y alcé mis ojos hacia el lado del aquilón, y he aquí al aquilón, junto á la puerta del altar, la imagen del celo en la entrada.

8:5 Then said he unto me, Son of man, lift up yours eyes now the way toward the north. So I lifted up mine eyes the way toward the north, and behold northward at the gate of the altar this image of jealousy in the entry.

8:6 Díjome entonces: Hijo del hombre, ¿no ves lo que éstos hacen, las grandes abominaciones que la casa de Israel hace aquí, para alejarme de mi santuario? Mas vuélvete aún, y verás abominaciones mayores.

8:6 He said furthermore unto me, Son of man, see you what they do? even the great abominations that the house of Israel commits here, that I should go far off from my sanctuary? but turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations.

8:7 Y llevóme á la entrada del atrio, y miré, y he aquí en la pared un agujero.

8:7 And he brought me to the door of the court; and when I looked, behold a hole in the wall.

8:8 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, cava ahora en la pared. Y cavé en la pared, y he aquí una puerta.

8:8 Then said he unto me, Son of man, dig now in the wall: and when I had dug in the wall, behold a door.

8:9 Díjome luego: Entra, y ve las malvadas abominaciones que éstos hacen allí.

8:9 And he said unto me, Go in, and behold the wicked abominations that they do here.

8:10 Entré pues, y miré, y he aquí imágenes de todas serpientes, y animales de abominación, y todos los ídolos de la casa de Israel, que estaban pintados en la pared alrededor.

8:10 So I went in and saw; and behold every form of creeping things, and abominable beasts, and all the idols of the house of Israel, portrayed upon the wall round about.

8:11 Y delante de ellos estaban setenta varones de los ancianos de la casa de Israel, y Jaazanías hijo de Saphán estaba en medio de ellos, cada uno con su incensario en su mano; y del sahumerio subía espesura de niebla.

8:11 And there stood before them seventy men of the ancients of the house of Israel, and in the midst of them stood Jaazaniah the son of Shaphan, with every man his censer in his hand; and a thick cloud of incense went up.

8:12 Y me dijo: Hijo del hombre, ¿has visto las cosas que los ancianos de la casa de Israel hacen en tinieblas, cada uno en sus cámaras pintadas? porque dicen ellos: No nos ve Jehová; Jehová ha dejado la tierra.

8:12 Then said he unto me, Son of man, have you seen what the ancients of the house of Israel do in the dark, every man in the chambers of his imagery? for they say, the LORD sees us not; the LORD has forsaken the earth.

8:13 Díjome después: Vuélvete aún, verás abominaciones mayores que hacen éstos.

8:13 He said also unto me, Turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations that they do.

8:14 Y llevóme á la entrada de la puerta de la casa de Jehová, que está al aquilón; y he aquí mujeres que estaban allí sentadas endechando á Tammuz.

8:14 Then he brought me to the door of the gate of the LORD's house which was toward the north; and, behold, there sat women weeping for Tammuz.

8:15 Luego me dijo: ¿No ves, hijo del hombre? Vuélvete aún, verás abominaciones mayores que éstas.

8:15 Then said he unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? turn you yet again, and you shall see greater abominations than these.

8:16 Y metióme en el atrio de adentro de la casa de Jehová: y he aquí junto á la entrada del templo de Jehová, entre la entrada y el altar, como veinticinco varones, sus espaldas vueltas al templo de Jehová y sus rostros al oriente, y encorvábanse al nacimiento del sol.

8:16 And he brought me into the inner court of the LORD's house, and, behold, at the door of the temple of the LORD, between the porch and the altar, were about five and twenty men, with their backs toward the temple of the LORD, and their faces toward the east; and they worshipped the sun toward the east.

8:17 Y díjome: ¿No has visto, hijo del hombre? ¿Es cosa liviana para la casa de Judá hacer las abominaciones que hacen aquí? Después que han llenado la tierra de maldad, y se tornaron á irritarme, he aquí que ponen hedor á mis narices.

8:17 Then he said unto me, Have you seen this, O son of man? Is it a light thing to the house of Judah that they commit the abominations which they commit here? for they have filled the land with violence, and have returned to provoke me to anger: and, lo, they put the branch to their nose.

8:18 Pues también yo haré en mi furor; no perdonará mi ojo, ni tendré misericordia, y gritarán á mis oídos con gran voz, y no los oiré.

8:18 Therefore will I also deal in fury: mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity: and though they cry in mine ears with a loud voice, yet will I not hear them.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

9:1 Y CLAMO en mis oídos con gran voz, diciendo: Los visitadores de la ciudad han llegado, y cada uno trae en su mano su instrumento para destruir.

9:1 He cried also in mine ears with a loud voice, saying, Cause them that have charge over the city to draw near, even every man with his destroying weapon in his hand.

9:2 Y he aquí que seis varones venían del camino de la puerta de arriba que está vuelta al aquilón, y cada uno traía en su mano su instrumento para destruir. Y entre ellos había un varón vestido de lienzos, el cual traía á su cintura una escribanía de escribano; y entrados, paráronse junto al altar de bronce.

9:2 And, behold, six men came from the way of the higher gate, which lies toward the north, and every man a slaughter weapon in his hand; and one man among them was clothed with linen, with a writer's ink holder by his side: and they went in, and stood beside the brazen altar.

9:3 Y la gloria del Dios de Israel se alzó de sobre el querubín sobre el cual había estado, al umbral de la casa: y llamó Jehová al varón vestido de lienzos, que tenía á su cintura la escribanía de escribano.

9:3 And the glory of the God of Israel was gone up from the cherub, whereupon he was, to the threshold of the house. And he called to the man clothed with linen, which had the writer's ink holder by his side;

9:4 Y díjole Jehová: Pasa por medio de la ciudad, por medio de Jerusalem, y pon una señal en la frente á los hombres que gimen y que claman á causa de todas las abominaciones que se hacen en medio de ella.

9:4 And the LORD said unto him, Go through the midst of the city, through the midst of Jerusalem, and set a mark upon the foreheads of the men that sigh and that cry for all the abominations that be done in the midst thereof.

9:5 Y á los otros dijo á mis oídos: Pasad por la ciudad en pos de él, y herid; no perdone vuestro ojo, ni tengáis misericordia.

9:5 And to the others he said in mine hearing, Go all of you after him through the city, and strike: let not your eye spare, neither have all of you pity:

9:6 Matad viejos, mozos y vírgenes, niños y mujeres, hasta que no quede ninguno: mas á todo aquel sobre el cual hubiere señal, no llegaréis; y habéis de comenzar desde mi santuario. Comenzaron pues desde los varones ancianos que estaban delante del templo.

9:6 Slay utterly old and young, both maids, and little children, and women: but come not near any man upon whom is the mark; and begin at my sanctuary. Then they began at the ancient men which were before the house.

9:7 Y díjoles: Contaminad la casa, y henchid los atrios de muertos: salid. Y salieron, é hirieron en la ciudad.

9:7 And he said unto them, Defile the house, and fill the courts with the slain: go all of you forth. And they went forth, and slew in the city.

9:8 Y aconteció que, habiéndolos herido, yo quedé y postréme sobre mi rostro, y clamé, y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿has de destruir todo el resto de Israel derramando tu furor sobre Jerusalem?

9:8 And it came to pass, while they were slaying them, and I was left, that I fell upon my face, and cried, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you destroy all the residue of Israel in your pouring out of your fury upon Jerusalem?

9:9 Y díjome: La maldad de la casa de Israel y de Judá es grande sobremanera, pues la tierra está llena de sangres, y la ciudad está llena de perversidad: porque han dicho: Dejado ha Jehová la tierra, y Jehová no ve.

9:9 Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD has forsaken the earth, and the LORD sees not.

9:10 Así pues, yo, mi ojo no perdonará, ni tendré misericordia: el camino de ellos tornaré sobre su cabeza.

9:10 And as for me also, mine eye shall not spare, neither will I have pity, but I will recompense their way upon their head.

9:11 Y he aquí que el varón vestido de lienzos, que tenía la escribanía á su cintura, respondió una palabra diciendo: Hecho he conforme á todo lo que me mandaste.

9:11 And, behold, the man clothed with linen, which had the ink holder by his side, reported the matter, saying, I have done as you have commanded me.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

10:1 Y MIRÉ, y he aquí en la expansión que había sobre la cabeza de los querubines como una piedra de zafiro, que parecía como semejanza de un trono que se mostró sobre ellos.

10:1 Then I looked, and, behold, in the firmament that was above the head of the cherubims there appeared over them as it were a sapphire stone, as the appearance of the likeness of a throne.

10:2 Y habló al varón vestido de lienzos, y díjole: Entra en medio de la ruedas debajo de los querubines, é hinche tus manos carbones encendidos de entre los querubines, y derrama sobre la ciudad. Y entró á vista mía.

10:2 And he spoke unto the man clothed with linen, and said, Go in between the wheels, even under the cherub, and fill yours hand with coals of fire from between the cherubims, and scatter them over the city. And he went in in my sight.

10:3 Y los querubines estaban á la mano derecha de la casa cuando este varón entró; y la nube henchía el atrio de adentro.

10:3 Now the cherubims stood on the right side of the house, when the man went in; and the cloud filled the inner court.

10:4 Y la gloria de Jehová se levantó del querubín al umbral de la puerta; y la casa fué llena de la nube, y el atrio se llenó del resplandor de la gloria de Jehová.

10:4 Then the glory of the LORD went up from the cherub, and stood over the threshold of the house; and the house was filled with the cloud, and the court was full of the brightness of the LORD's glory.

10:5 Y el estruendo de las alas de los querubines se oía hasta el atrio de afuera, como la voz del Dios Omnipotente cuando habla.

10:5 And the sound of the cherubims' wings was heard even to the outer court, as the voice of the Almighty God when he speaks.

10:6 Y aconteció que, como mandó al varón vestido de lienzos, diciendo: Toma fuego de entre las ruedas, de entre los querubines, él entró, y paróse entre las ruedas.

10:6 And it came to pass, that when he had commanded the man clothed with linen, saying, Take fire from between the wheels, from between the cherubims; then he went in, and stood beside the wheels.

10:7 Y un querubín extendió su mano de entre los querubines al fuego que estaba entre los querubines, y tomó, y puso en las palmas del que estaba vestido de lienzos, el cual lo tomó y salióse.

10:7 And one cherub stretched forth his hand from between the cherubims unto the fire that was between the cherubims, and took thereof, and put it into the hands of him that was clothed with linen: who took it, and went out.

10:8 Y apareció en los querubines la figura de una mano humana debajo de sus alas.

10:8 And there appeared in the cherubims the form of a man's hand under their wings.

10:9 Y miré, y he aquí cuatro ruedas junto á los querubines, junto á cada querubín una rueda; y el aspecto de las ruedas era como el de piedra de Tarsis.

10:9 And when I looked, behold the four wheels by the cherubims, one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by another cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was as the colour of a beryl stone.

10:10 Cuanto al parecer de ellas, las cuatro eran de una forma, como si estuviera una en medio de otra.

10:10 And as for their appearances, they four had one likeness, as if a wheel had been in the midst of a wheel.

10:11 Cuando andaban, sobre sus cuatro costados andaban: no se tornaban cuando andaban, sino que al lugar adonde se volvía el primero, en pos de él iban; ni se tornaban cuando andaban.

10:11 When they went, they went upon their four sides; they turned not as they went, but to the place where the head looked they followed it; they turned not as they went.

10:12 Y toda su carne, y sus costillas, y sus manos, y sus alas, y las ruedas, lleno estaba de ojos alrededor en sus cuatro ruedas.

10:12 And their whole body, and their backs, and their hands, and their wings, and the wheels, were full of eyes round about, even the wheels that they four had.

10:13 A las ruedas, oyéndolo yo, se les gritaba: ¡Rueda!

10:13 As for the wheels, it was cried unto them in my hearing, O wheel.

10:14 Y cada uno tenía cuatro rostros. El primer rostro era de querubín; el segundo rostro, de hombre; el tercer rostro, de león; el cuarto rostro, de águila.

10:14 And every one had four faces: the first face was the face of a cherub, and the second face was the face of a man, and the third the face of a lion, and the fourth the face of an eagle.

10:15 Y levantáronse los querubines; este es el animal que vi en el río de Chebar.

10:15 And the cherubims were lifted up. This is the living creature that I saw by the river of Chebar.

10:16 Y cuando andaban los querubines, andaban las ruedas junto con ellos; y cuando los querubines alzaban sus alas para levantarse de la tierra, las ruedas también no se volvían de junto á ellos.

10:16 And when the cherubims went, the wheels went by them: and when the cherubims lifted up their wings to mount up from the earth, the same wheels also turned not from beside them.

10:17 Cuando se paraban ellos, parábanse ellas, y cuando ellos se alzaban, alzábanse con ellos: porque el espíritu de los animales estaba en ellas.

10:17 When they stood, these stood; and when they were lifted up, these lifted up themselves also: for the spirit of the living creature was in them.

10:18 Y la gloria de Jehová se salió de sobre el umbral de la casa, y paró sobre los querubines.

10:18 Then the glory of the LORD departed from off the threshold of the house, and stood over the cherubims.

10:19 Y alzando los querubines sus alas, levantáronse de la tierra delante de mis ojos: cuando ellos salieron, también las ruedas al lado de ellos: y paráronse á la entrada de la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová, y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba arriba sobre ellos.

10:19 And the cherubims lifted up their wings, and mounted up from the earth in my sight: when they went out, the wheels also were beside them, and every one stood at the door of the east gate of the LORD's house; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

10:20 Este era el animal que vi debajo del Dios de Israel en el río de Chebar; y conocí que eran querubines.

10:20 This is the living creature that I saw under the God of Israel by the river of Chebar; and I knew that they were the cherubims.

10:21 Cada uno tenía cuatro rostros, y cada uno cuatro alas, y figuras de manos humanas debajo de sus alas.

10:21 Every one had four faces apiece, and every one four wings; and the likeness of the hands of a man was under their wings.

10:22 Y la figura de sus rostros era la de los rostros que vi junto al río de Chebar, su mismo parecer y su ser; cada uno caminaba en derecho de su rostro.

10:22 And the likeness of their faces was the same faces which I saw by the river of Chebar, their appearances and themselves: they went every one straight forward.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

11:1 Y EL espíritu me elevó, y metióme por la puerta oriental de la casa de Jehová, la cual mira hacia el oriente: y he aquí á la entrada de la puerta veinticinco varones, entre los cuales vi á Jaazanías hijo de Azur, y á Pelatías hijo de Benaías, príncipes del pueblo.

11:1 Moreover the spirit lifted me up, and brought me unto the east gate of the LORD's house, which looks eastward: and behold at the door of the gate five and twenty men; among whom I saw Jaazaniah the son of Azur, and Pelatiah the son of Benaiah, princes of the people.

11:2 Y díjome: Hijo del hombre, estos son los hombres que maquinan perversidad, y dan en esta ciudad mal consejo;

11:2 Then said he unto me, Son of man, these are the men that devise mischief, and give wicked counsel in this city:

11:3 Los cuales dicen: No será tan presto: edifiquemos casas: ésta será la caldera, y nosotros la carne.

11:3 Which say, It is not near; let us build houses: this city is the caldron, and we be the flesh.

11:4 Por tanto profetiza contra ellos, profetiza, hijo del hombre.

11:4 Therefore prophesy against them, prophesy, O son of man.

11:5 Y cayó sobre mí el espíritu de Jehová, y díjome: Di: Así ha dicho Jehová: Así habéis hablado, oh casa de Israel, y las cosas que suben á vuestro espíritu, yo las he entendido.

11:5 And the Spirit of the LORD fell upon me, and said unto me, Speak; Thus says the LORD; Thus have all of you said, O house of Israel: for I know the things that come into your mind, every one of them.

11:6 Habéis multiplicado vuestros muertos en esta ciudad, y habéis henchido de muertos sus calles.

11:6 All of you have multiplied your slain in this city, and all of you have filled the streets thereof with the slain.

11:7 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vuestros muertos que habéis puesto en medio de ella, ellos son la carne, y ella es la caldera; mas yo os sacaré á vosotros de en medio de ella.

11:7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Your slain whom all of you have laid in the midst of it, they are the flesh, and this city is the caldron: but I will bring you forth out of the midst of it.

11:8 Cuchillo habéis temido, y cuchillo traeré sobre vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová.

11:8 All of you have feared the sword; and I will bring a sword upon you, says the Lord GOD.

11:9 Y os sacaré de en medio de ella, y os entregaré en manos de extraños, y yo haré juicios en vosotros.

11:9 And I will bring you out of the midst thereof, and deliver you into the hands of strangers, and will execute judgments among you.

11:10 A cuchillo caeréis; en el término de Israel os juzgaré, y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

11:10 All of you shall fall by the sword; I will judge you in the border of Israel; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

11:11 Esta no os será por caldera, ni vosotros seréis en medio de ella la carne: en el término de Israel os tengo de juzgar.

11:11 This city shall not be your caldron, neither shall all of you be the flesh in the midst thereof; but I will judge you in the border of Israel:

11:12 Y sabréis que yo soy Jehová: porque no habéis andado en mis ordenanzas, ni habéis hecho mis juicios, sino según los juicios de las gentes que están en vuestros alrededores habéis hecho.

11:12 And all of you shall know that I am the LORD: for all of you have not walked in my statutes, neither executed my judgments, but have done after the manners of the heathen that are round about you.

11:13 Y aconteció que, estando yo profetizando, Pelatías hijo de Benaías murió. Entonces caí sobre mi rostro, y clamé con grande voz, y dije: ¡Ah, Señor Jehová! ¿harás tú consumación del resto de Israel?

11:13 And it came to pass, when I prophesied, that Pelatiah the son of Benaiah died. Then fell I down upon my face, and cried with a loud voice, and said, Ah Lord GOD! will you make a full end of the remnant of Israel?

11:14 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

11:14 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

11:15 Hijo del hombre, tus hermanos, tus hermanos, los hombres de tu parentesco y toda la casa de Israel, toda ella son aquellos á quienes dijeron los moradores de Jerusalem: Alejaos de Jehová; á nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión.

11:15 Son of man, your brethren, even your brethren, the men of your kindred, and all the house of Israel wholly, are they unto whom the inhabitants of Jerusalem have said, Get you far from the LORD: unto us is this land given in possession.

11:16 Por tanto di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aunque los he echado lejos entre las gentes, y los he esparcido por las tierras, con todo eso les seré por un pequeño santuario en las tierras á donde llegaren.

11:16 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Although I have cast them far off among the heathen, and although I have scattered them among the countries, yet will I be to them as a little sanctuary in the countries where they shall come.

11:17 Di por tanto: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo os recogeré de los pueblos, y os allegaré de las tierras en las cuales estáis esparcidos, y os daré la tierra de Israel.

11:17 Therefore say, Thus says the Lord GOD; I will even gather you from the people, and assemble you out of the countries where all of you have been scattered, and I will give you the land of Israel.

11:18 Y vendrán allá, y quitarán de ella todas su torpezas, y todas sus abominaciones.

11:18 And they shall come thither, and they shall take away all the detestable things thereof and all the abominations thereof from thence.

11:19 Y darles he un corazón, y espíritu nuevo daré en sus entrañas; y quitaré el corazón de piedra de su carne, y daréles corazón de carne;

11:19 And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh:

11:20 Para que anden en mis ordenanzas, y guarden mis juicios y los cumplan, y me sean por pueblo, y yo sea á ellos por Dios.

11:20 That they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

11:21 Mas á aquellos cuyo corazón anda tras el deseo de sus torpezas y de sus abominaciones, yo tornaré su camino sobre sus cabezas, dice el Señor Jehová.

11:21 But as for them whose heart walks after the heart of their detestable things and their abominations, I will recompense their way upon their own heads, says the Lord GOD.

11:22 Después alzaron los querubines sus alas, y las ruedas en pos de ellos; y la gloria del Dios de Israel estaba sobre ellos encima.

11:22 Then did the cherubims lift up their wings, and the wheels beside them; and the glory of the God of Israel was over them above.

11:23 Y la gloria de Jehová se fué de en medio de la ciudad, y paró sobre el monte que está al oriente de la ciudad.

11:23 And the glory of the LORD went up from the midst of the city, and stood upon the mountain which is on the east side of the city.

11:24 Luego me levantó el espíritu, y volvióme á llevar en visión del espíritu de Dios á la tierra de los Caldeos, á los trasportados. Y partióse de mí la visión que había visto.

11:24 Afterwards the spirit took me up, and brought me in a vision by the Spirit of God into Chaldea, to them of the captivity. So the vision that I had seen went up from me.

11:25 Y hablé á los trasportados todas las palabras de Jehová que él me había mostrado.

11:25 Then I spoke unto them of the captivity all the things that the LORD had showed me.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

12:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

12:1 The word of the LORD also came unto me, saying,

12:2 Hijo del hombre, tú habitas en medio de casa rebelde, los cuales tienen ojos para ver, y no ven, tienen oídos para oir, y no oyen; porque son casa rebelde.

12:2 Son of man, you dwell in the midst of a rebellious house, which have eyes to see, and see not; they have ears to hear, and hear not: for they are a rebellious house.

12:3 Por tanto tú, hijo del hombre, hazte aparejos de marcha, y pártete de día delante de sus ojos; y te pasarás de tu lugar á otro lugar á vista de ellos, por si tal vez atienden, porque son casa rebelde.

12:3 Therefore, you son of man, prepare you stuff for removing, and remove by day in their sight; and you shall remove from your place to another place in their sight: it may be they will consider, though they be a rebellious house.

12:4 Y sacarás tus aparejos, como aparejos de partida, de día delante de sus ojos: mas tú saldrás por la tarde á vista de ellos, como quien sale para partirse.

12:4 Then shall you bring forth your stuff by day in their sight, as stuff for removing: and you shall go forth at even in their sight, as they that go forth into captivity.

12:5 Delante de sus ojos horadarás la pared, y saldrás por ella.

12:5 Dig you through the wall in their sight, and carry out thereby.

12:6 Delante de sus ojos los llevarás sobre tus hombros, de noche los sacarás; cubrirás tu rostro, y no mirarás la tierra: porque en señal te he dado á la casa de Israel.

12:6 In their sight shall you bear it upon your shoulders, and carry it forth in the twilight: you shall cover your face, that you see not the ground: for I have set you for a sign unto the house of Israel.

12:7 Y yo hice así como me fué mandado: saqué mis aparejos de día, como aparejos de partida, y á la tarde horadé la pared á mano; salí de noche, y llevélos sobre los hombros á vista de ellos.

12:7 And I did so as I was commanded: I brought forth my stuff by day, as stuff for captivity, and in the even I dug through the wall with mine hand; I brought it forth in the twilight, and I bare it upon my shoulder in their sight.

12:8 Y fué á mi palabra de Jehová por la mañana, diciendo:

12:8 And in the morning came the word of the LORD unto me, saying,

12:9 Hijo del hombre, ¿no te ha dicho la casa de Israel, aquella casa rebelde: ¿Qué haces?

12:9 Son of man, has not the house of Israel, the rebellious house, said unto you, What do you?

12:10 Diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Al príncipe en Jerusalem es esta carga, y á toda la casa de Israel que está en medio de ellos.

12:10 Say you unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; This burden concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel that are among them.

12:11 Diles: Yo soy vuestra señal: como yo hice, así les harán á ellos: al pasar á otro país irán en cautiverio.

12:11 Say, I am your sign: like I have done, so shall it be done unto them: they shall remove and go into captivity.

12:12 Y al príncipe que está en medio de ellos llevarán á cuestas de noche, y saldrán; horadarán la pared para sacarlo por ella; cubrirá su rostro para no ver con sus ojos la tierra.

12:12 And the prince that is among them shall bear upon his shoulder in the twilight, and shall go forth: they shall dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he shall cover his face, that he see not the ground with his eyes.

12:13 Mas yo extenderé mi red sobre él, y será preso en mi malla, y harélo llevar á Babilonia, á tierra de Caldeos; mas no la verá, y allá morirá.

12:13 My net also will I spread upon him, and he shall be taken in my snare: and I will bring him to Babylon to the land of the Chaldeans; yet shall he not see it, though he shall die there.

12:14 Y á todos los que estuvieren alrededor de él para su ayuda, y á todas sus compañías esparciré á todo viento, y desenvainaré espada en pos de ellos.

12:14 And I will scatter toward every wind all that are about him to help him, and all his bands; and I will draw out the sword after them.

12:15 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando los esparciere entre las gentes, y los derramare por la tierra.

12:15 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall scatter them among the nations, and disperse them in the countries.

12:16 Y haré que de ellos queden pocos en número, del cuchillo, y del hambre, y de la pestilencia, para que cuenten todas sus abominaciones entre las gentes adonde llegaren; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

12:16 But I will leave a few men of them from the sword, from the famine, and from the pestilence; that they may declare all their abominations among the heathen where they come; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

12:17 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

12:17 Moreover the word of the LORD came to me, saying,

12:18 Hijo del hombre, come tu pan con temblor, y bebe tu agua con estremecimiento y con anhelo;

12:18 Son of man, eat your bread with quaking, and drink your water with trembling and with carefulness;

12:19 Y dirás al pueblo de la tierra: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová sobre los moradores de Jerusalem, y sobre la tierra de Israel: Su pan comerán con temor, y con espanto beberán su agua; porque su tierra será asolada de su multitud, por la maldad de todos los que en ella moran.

12:19 And say unto the people of the land, Thus says the Lord GOD of the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and of the land of Israel; They shall eat their bread with carefulness, and drink their water with astonishment, that her land may be desolate from all that is therein, because of the violence of all them that dwell therein.

12:20 Y las ciudades habitadas serán asoladas, y la tierra será desierta; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

12:20 And the cities that are inhabited shall be laid waste, and the land shall be desolate; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

12:21 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

12:21 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

12:22 Hijo del hombre, ¿qué refrán es este que tenéis vosotros en la tierra de Israel, diciendo: Prolongarse han los días, y perecerá toda visión?

12:22 Son of man, what is that proverb that all of you have in the land of Israel, saying, The days are prolonged, and every vision fails?

12:23 Diles por tanto: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar este refrán, y no repetirán más este dicho en Israel. Diles pues: Se han acercado aquellos días, y la palabra de toda visión.

12:23 Tell them therefore, Thus says the Lord GOD; I will make this proverb to cease, and they shall no more use it as a proverb in Israel; but say unto them, The days are at hand, and the effect of every vision.

12:24 Porque no habrá más alguna visión vana, ni habrá adivinación de lisonjeros en medio de la casa de Israel.

12:24 For there shall be no more any vain vision nor flattering divination within the house of Israel.

12:25 Porque yo Jehová hablaré; cumpliráse la palabra que yo hablaré; no se dilatará más: antes en vuestros días, oh casa rebelde, hablaré palabra, y cumpliréla, dice el Señor Jehová.

12:25 For I am the LORD: I will speak, and the word that I shall speak shall come to pass; it shall be no more prolonged: for in your days, O rebellious house, will I say the word, and will perform it, says the Lord GOD.

12:26 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

12:26 Again the word of the LORD came to me, saying.

12:27 Hijo del hombre, he aquí que los de la casa de Israel dicen: La visión que éste ve es para muchos días, y para lejanos tiempos profetiza éste.

12:27 Son of man, behold, they of the house of Israel say, The vision that he sees is for many days to come, and he prophesies of the times that are far off.

12:28 Diles por tanto: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: No se dilatarán más todas mis palabras: cumpliráse la palabra que yo hablaré, dice el Señor Jehová.

12:28 Therefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; There shall none of my words be prolonged any more, but the word which I have spoken shall be done, says the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

13:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

13:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

13:2 Hijo del hombre, profetiza contra los profetas de Israel que profetizan, y di á los que profetizan de su corazón: Oid palabra de Jehová.

13:2 Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say you unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear all of you the word of the LORD;

13:3 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de los profetas insensatos, que andan en pos de su propio espíritu, y nada vieron!

13:3 Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing!

13:4 Como zorras en los desiertos fueron tus profetas, oh Israel.

13:4 O Israel, your prophets are like the foxes in the deserts.

13:5 No habéis subido á los portillos, ni echasteis vallado en la casa de Israel, estando en la batalla en el día de Jehová.

13:5 All of you have not gone up into the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in the battle in the day of the LORD.

13:6 Vieron vanidad y adivinación de mentira. Dicen: Ha dicho Jehová; y Jehová no los envió: y hacen esperar que se confirme la palabra.

13:6 They have seen vanity and lying divination, saying, The LORD says: and the LORD has not sent them: and they have made others to hope that they would confirm the word.

13:7 ¿No habéis visto visión vana, y no habéis dicho adivinación de mentira, por cuanto decís, Dijo Jehová; no habiendo yo hablado?

13:7 Have all of you not seen a vain vision, and have all of you not spoken a lying divination, whereas all of you say, The LORD says it; although it be I have not spoken?

13:8 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: por cuanto vosotros habéis hablado vanidad, y habéis visto mentira, por tanto, he aquí yo contra vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová.

13:8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because all of you have spoken vanity, and seen lies, therefore, behold, I am against you, says the Lord GOD.

13:9 Y será mi mano contra los profetas que ven vanidad, y adivinan mentira: no serán en la congregación de mi pueblo, ni serán escritos en el libro de la casa de Israel, ni á la tierra de Israel volverán; y sabréis que yo soy el Señor Jehová.

13:9 And mine hand shall be upon the prophets that see vanity, and that divine lies: they shall not be in the assembly of my people, neither shall they be written in the writing of the house of Israel, neither shall they enter into the land of Israel; and all of you shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

13:10 Por tanto, y por cuanto engañaron á mi pueblo, diciendo, Paz, no habiendo paz; y el uno edificaba la pared, y he aquí que los otros la encostraban con lodo suelto;

13:10 Because, even because they have seduced my people, saying, Peace; and there was no peace; and one built up a wall, and, lo, others daubed it with plaster:

13:11 Di á los encostradores con lodo suelto, que caerá; vendrá lluvia inundante, y daré piedras de granizo que la hagan caer, y viento tempestuoso la romperá.

13:11 Say unto them which daub it with plaster, that it shall fall: there shall be an overflowing shower; and all of you, O great hailstones, shall fall; and a stormy wind shall rend it.

13:12 Y he aquí, cuando la pared habrá caído, no os dirán: ¿Dónde está la embarradura con que encostrasteis?

13:12 Lo, when the wall is fallen, shall it not be said unto you, Where is the daubing wherewith all of you have daubed it?

13:13 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Y haré que la rompa viento tempestuoso con mi ira, y lluvia inundante vendrá con mi furor, y piedras de granizo con enojo para consumir.

13:13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I will even rend it with a stormy wind in my fury; and there shall be an overflowing shower in mine anger, and great hailstones in my fury to consume it.

13:14 Así desbarataré la pared que vosotros encostrasteis con lodo suelto, y echaréla á tierra, y será descubierto su cimiento, y caerá, y seréis consumidos en medio de ella; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

13:14 So will I break down the wall that all of you have daubed with plaster, and bring it down to the ground, so that the foundation thereof shall be discovered, and it shall fall, and all of you shall be consumed in the midst thereof: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

13:15 Cumpliré así mi furor en la pared y en los que la encostraron con lodo suelto; y os diré: No existe la pared, ni aquellos que la encostraron,

13:15 Thus will I accomplish my wrath upon the wall, and upon them that have daubed it with plaster, and will say unto you, The wall is no more, neither they that daubed it;

13:16 Los profetas de Israel que profetizan á Jerusalem, y ven para ella visión de paz, no habiendo paz, dice el Señor Jehová.

13:16 To know, the prophets of Israel which prophesy concerning Jerusalem, and which see visions of peace for her, and there is no peace, says the Lord GOD.

13:17 Y tú, hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro á las hijas de tu pueblo que profetizan de su corazón, y profetiza contra ellas,

13:17 Likewise, you son of man, set your face against the daughters of your people, which prophesy out of their own heart; and prophesy you against them,

13:18 Y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de aquellas que cosen almohadillas á todos codos de manos, y hacen veletes sobre la cabeza de toda edad para cazar las almas! ¿Habéis de cazar las almas de mi pueblo, para mantener así vuestra propia vida?

13:18 And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Woe to the women that sew pillows to all armholes, and make kerchiefs upon the head of every stature to hunt souls! Will all of you hunt the souls of my people, and will all of you save the souls alive that come unto you?

13:19 ¿Y habéis de profanarme entre mi pueblo por puñados de cebada y por pedazos de pan, matando las almas que no mueren, y dando vida á las almas que no vivirán, mintiendo á mi pueblo que escucha la mentira?

13:19 And will all of you pollute me among my people for handfuls of barley and for pieces of bread, to slay the souls that should not die, and to save the souls alive that should not live, by your lying to my people that hear your lies?

13:20 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra vuestras almohadillas, con que cazáis ahí las almas volando; yo las arrancaré de vuestros brazos, y dejaré las almas, las almas que cazáis volando.

13:20 Wherefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against your pillows, wherewith all of you there hunt the souls to make them fly, and I will tear them from your arms, and will let the souls go, even the souls that all of you hunt to make them fly.

13:21 Romperé asimismo vuestro veletes, y libraré mi pueblo de vuestra mano, y no estarán más en vuestra mano para caza; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

13:21 Your kerchiefs also will I tear, and deliver my people out of your hand, and they shall be no more in your hand to be hunted; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

13:22 Por cuanto entristecisteis con mentira el corazón del justo, al cual yo no entristecí, y esforzasteis las manos del impío, para que no se apartase de su mal camino, infundiéndole ánimo;

13:22 Because with lies all of you have made the heart of the righteous sad, whom I have not made sad; and strengthened the hands of the wicked, that he should not return from his wicked way, by promising him life:

13:23 Por tanto no veréis vanidad, ni más adivinaréis adivinación; y libraré mi pueblo de vuestra mano; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

13:23 Therefore all of you shall see no more vanity, nor divine divinations: for I will deliver my people out of your hand: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

14:1 Y VINIERON á mí algunos de los ancianos de Israel, y sentáronse delante de mí.

14:1 Then came certain of the elders of Israel unto me, and sat before me.

14:2 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

14:2 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

14:3 Hijo del hombre, estos hombres han puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro: ¿acaso he de ser yo verdaderamente consultado por ellos?

14:3 Son of man, these men have set up their idols in their heart, and put the stumbling block of their iniquity before their face: should I be enquired of at all by them?

14:4 Háblales por tanto, y diles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel que hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido el tropiezo de su maldad delante de su rostro, y viniere al profeta, yo Jehová responderé al que viniere en la multitud de sus ídolos;

14:4 Therefore speak unto them, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; Every man of the house of Israel that sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to the prophet; I the LORD will answer him that comes according to the multitude of his idols;

14:5 Para tomar á la casa de Israel en su corazón, que se han apartado de mí todos ellos en sus ídolos.

14:5 That I may take the house of Israel in their own heart, because they are all cut off from me through their idols.

14:6 Por tanto di á la casa de Israel: Así dice el Señor Jehová: Convertíos, y volveos de vuestros ídolos, y apartad vuestro rostro de todas vuestras abominaciones.

14:6 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, Thus says the Lord GOD; Repent, and turn yourselves from your idols; and turn away your faces from all your abominations.

14:7 Porque cualquier hombre de la casa de Israel, y de los extranjeros que moran en Israel, que se hubiere apartado de andar en pos de mí, y hubiere puesto sus ídolos en su corazón, y establecido delante de su rostro el tropiezo de su maldad, y viniere al profeta para preguntarle por mí, yo Jehová le responderé por mí mismo:

14:7 For every one of the house of Israel, or of the stranger that sojourns in Israel, which separates himself from me, and sets up his idols in his heart, and puts the stumbling block of his iniquity before his face, and comes to a prophet to enquire of him concerning me; I the LORD will answer him by myself:

14:8 Y pondré mi rostro contra aquel hombre, y le pondré por señal y por fábula, y yo lo cortaré de entre mi pueblo; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

14:8 And I will set my face against that man, and will make him a sign and a proverb, and I will cut him off from the midst of my people; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

14:9 Y el profeta, cuando fuere engañado y hablare palabra, yo Jehová engañé al tal profeta; y extenderé mi mano sobre él, y raeréle de en medio de mi pueblo de Israel.

14:9 And if the prophet be deceived when he has spoken a thing, I the LORD have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out my hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of my people Israel.

14:10 Y llevarán su maldad: como la maldad del que pregunta, así será la maldad del profeta;

14:10 And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeks unto him;

14:11 Para que no yerren más la casa de Israel de en pos de mí: ni más se contaminen en todas sus rebeliones, y me sean por pueblo, y yo les sea por Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.

14:11 That the house of Israel may go no more astray from me, neither be polluted any more with all their transgressions; but that they may be my people, and I may be their God, says the Lord GOD.

14:12 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

14:12 The word of the LORD came again to me, saying,

14:13 Hijo del hombre, cuando la tierra pecare contra mí rebelándose pérfidamente, y extendiere yo mi mano sobre ella, y le quebrantare el arrimo del pan, y enviare en ella hambre, y talare de ella hombres y bestias;

14:13 Son of man, when the land sins against me by trespassing grievously, then will I stretch out mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man and beast from it:

14:14 Si estuvieren en medio de ella estos tres varones, Noé, Daniel, y Job, ellos por su justicia librarán su vida, dice el Señor Jehová.

14:14 Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, says the Lord GOD.

14:15 Y si hiciere pasar malas bestias por la tierra, y la asolaren, y fuere desolada que no haya quien pase á causa de las bestias,

14:15 If I cause dangerous beasts to pass through the land, and they spoil it, so that it be desolate, that no man may pass through because of the beasts:

14:16 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, ni á sus hijos ni á sus hijas librarán; ellos solos serán libres, y la tierra será asolada.

14:16 Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters; they only shall be delivered, but the land shall be desolate.

14:17 O si yo trajere espada sobre la tierra, y dijere: Espada, pasa por la tierra; é hiciere talar de ella hombres y bestias,

14:17 Or if I bring a sword upon that land, and say, Sword, go through the land; so that I cut off man and beast from it:

14:18 Y estos tres varones estuvieren en medio de ella, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán sus hijos ni sus hijas; ellos solos serán libres.

14:18 Though these three men were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither sons nor daughters, but they only shall be delivered themselves.

14:19 O si pestilencia enviare sobre esa tierra, y derramare mi ira sobre ella en sangre, para talar de ella hombres y bestias,

14:19 Or if I send a pestilence into that land, and pour out my fury upon it in blood, to cut off from it man and beast:

14:20 Y estuvieren en medio de ella Noé, Daniel, y Job, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, no librarán hijo ni hija; ellos por su justicia librarán su vida.

14:20 Though Noah, Daniel, and Job were in it, as I live, says the Lord GOD, they shall deliver neither son nor daughter; they shall but deliver their own souls by their righteousness.

14:21 Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Cuánto más, si mis cuatro malos juicios, espada, y hambre, y mala bestia, y pestilencia, enviare contra Jerusalem, para talar de ella hombres y bestias?

14:21 For thus says the Lord GOD; How much more when I send my four sore judgments upon Jerusalem, the sword, and the famine, and the dangerous beast, and the pestilence, to cut off from it man and beast?

14:22 Sin embargo, he aquí quedarán en ella algunos residuos, hijos é hijas, que serán llevados fuera: he aquí que ellos entrarán á vosotros, y veréis su camino y sus hechos; y tomaréis consolación del mal que hice venir sobre Jerusalem, de todas las cosas que traje sobre ella.

14:22 Yet, behold, therein shall be left a remnant that shall be brought forth, both sons and daughters: behold, they shall come forth unto you, and all of you shall see their way and their doings: and all of you shall be comforted concerning the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, even concerning all that I have brought upon it.

14:23 Y consolaros han cuando viereis su camino y sus hechos, y conoceréis que no sin causa hice todo lo que habré hecho en ella, dice el Señor Jehová.

14:23 And they shall comfort you, when all of you see their ways and their doings: and all of you shall know that I have not done without cause all that I have done in it, says the Lord GOD.
