Mark /  Markos

1:1 Tanrinin Oglu Isa Mesihle ilgili Müjdenin baslangici.

1:1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God;

1:2 Peygamber Yesayanin Kitabinda söyle yazilmistir: ‹‹Iste, habercimi senin önünden gönderiyorum; O senin yolunu hazirlayacak.››

1:2 As it is written in the prophets, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

1:3 ‹‹Çölde haykiran, ‹Rabbin yolunu hazirlayin, Geçecegi patikalari düzleyin› diye sesleniyor.››

1:3 The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare all of you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

1:4 Böylece Vaftizci Yahya çölde ortaya çikti. Insanlari, günahlarinin bagislanmasi için tövbe edip vaftiz olmaya çagiriyordu.

1:4 John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.

1:5 Bütün Yahudiye halki ve Yerusalimlilerin hepsi ona geliyor, günahlarini itiraf ediyor, onun tarafindan Seria Irmaginda vaftiz ediliyordu.

1:5 And there went out unto him all the land of Judaea, and they of Jerusalem, and were all baptized of him in the river of Jordan, confessing their sins.

1:6 Yahyanin deve tüyünden giysisi, belinde deri kusagi vardi. Çekirge ve yaban bali yerdi.

1:6 And John was clothed with camel's hair, and with a girdle of a skin about his loins; and he did eat locusts and wild honey;

1:7 And preached, saying, There comes one mightier than I after me, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and unloose.

1:8 Ben sizi suyla vaftiz ettim, ama O sizi Kutsal Ruhla vaftiz edecektir.››

1:8 I indeed have baptized you with water: but he shall baptize you with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)

1:9 O günlerde Celilenin Nasira Kentinden çikip gelen Isa, Yahya tarafindan Seria Irmaginda vaftiz edildi.

1:9 And it came to pass in those days, that Jesus came from Nazareth of Galilee, and was baptized of John in Jordan.

1:10 And immediately coming up out of the water, he saw the heavens opened, and the Spirit (o. pneuma) like a dove descending upon him:

1:11 Göklerden, ‹‹Sen benim sevgili Oglumsun, senden hosnudum›› diyen bir ses duyuldu.

1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, saying, You are my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

1:12 O an Ruh, Isayi çöle gönderdi.

1:12 And immediately the spirit (o. pneuma) drives him into the wilderness.

1:13 Isa çölde kaldigi kirk gün boyunca Seytan tarafindan denendi. Yabanil hayvanlar arasindaydi, melekler Ona hizmet ediyordu.

1:13 And he was there in the wilderness forty days, tempted of Satan; and was with the wild beasts; and the angels ministered unto him.

1:14 Yahyanin tutuklanmasindan sonra Isa, Tanrinin Müjdesini duyura duyura Celileye gitti.

1:14 Now after that John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God,

1:15 ‹‹Zaman doldu›› diyordu, ‹‹Tanrinin Egemenligi yaklasti. Tövbe edin, Müjdeye inanin!››

1:15 And saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent all of you, and believe the gospel.

1:16 Isa, Celile Gölünün kiyisindan geçerken, göle ag atmakta olan Simun ile kardesi Andreasi gördü. Bu adamlar balikçiydi.

1:16 Now as he walked by the sea of Galilee, he saw Simon and Andrew his brother casting a net into the sea: for they were fishers.

1:17 Isa onlara, ‹‹Ardimdan gelin›› dedi, ‹‹Sizleri insan tutan balikçilar yapacagim.››

1:17 And Jesus said unto them, Come all of you after me, and I will make you to become fishers of men.

1:18 Onlar da hemen aglarini birakip Onun ardindan gittiler.

1:18 And immediately they forsook their nets, and followed him.

1:19 Isa biraz ileri gidince Zebedinin ogullari Yakupla Yuhannayi gördü. Teknede aglarini onariyorlardi.

1:19 And when he had gone a little farther thence, he saw James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother, who also were in the ship mending their nets.

1:20 Hemen onlari çagirdi. Onlar da babalari Zebediyi isçilerle birlikte teknede birakip Isanin ardindan gittiler.

1:20 And immediately he called them: and they left their father Zebedee in the ship with the hired servants, and went after him.

1:21 Kefarnahuma girdiler. Sabat Günü Isa havraya gidip ögretmeye basladi.

1:21 And they went into Capernaum; and immediately on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught.

1:22 Halk Onun ögretisine sasip kaldi. Çünkü onlara din bilginleri gibi degil, yetkili biri gibi ögretiyordu.

1:22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.

1:23 And there was in their synagogue a man with an unclean spirit; (o. pneuma) and he cried out,

1:24 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth? are you come to destroy us? I know you who you are, the Holy One of God.

1:25 Isa, ‹‹Sus, çik adamdan!›› diyerek kötü ruhu azarladi.

1:25 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him.

1:26 And when the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) had torn him, and cried with a loud voice, he came out of him.

1:27 Herkes sasip kaldi. Birbirlerine, ‹‹Bu nasil sey?›› diye sormaya basladilar. ‹‹Yepyeni bir ögreti! Kötü ruhlara bile yetkiyle buyruk veriyor, onlar da sözünü dinliyor.››

1:27 And they were all amazed, insomuch that they questioned among themselves, saying, What thing is this? what new doctrine is this? for with authority commands he even the unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) and they do obey him.

1:28 Böylece Isayla ilgili haber, Celile bölgesinin her yerine hizla yayildi.

1:28 And immediately his fame spread abroad throughout all the region round about Galilee.

1:29 And forthwith, when they were come out of the synagogue, they entered into the house of Simon and Andrew, with James and John.

1:30 Simunun kaynanasi atesler içinde yatiyordu. Durumu hemen Isaya bildirdiler.

1:30 But Simon's wife's mother lay sick of a fever, and soon they tell him of her.

1:31 O da hastaya yaklasti, elinden tutup kaldirdi. Kadinin atesi düstü, onlara hizmet etmeye basladi.

1:31 And he came and took her by the hand, and lifted her up; and immediately the fever left her, and she ministered unto them.

1:32 And at even, when the sun did set, they brought unto him all that were diseased, and them that were possessed with devils.

1:33 Bütün kent halki kapiya toplanmisti.

1:33 And all the city was gathered together at the door.

1:34 Isa, çesitli hastaliklara yakalanmis birçok kisiyi iyilestirdi, birçok cini kovdu. Cinlerin konusmasina izin vermiyordu. Çünkü onlar kendisinin kim oldugunu biliyorlardi.

1:34 And he healed many that were sick of divers diseases, and cast out many devils; and suffered not the devils to speak, because they knew him.

1:35 Sabah çok erkenden, ortalik henüz agarmadan Isa kalkti, evden çikip issiz bir yere gitti, orada dua etmeye basladi.

1:35 And in the morning, rising up a great while before day, he went out, and departed into a solitary place, and there prayed.

1:36 Simun ile yanindakiler Isayi aramaya çiktilar.

1:36 And Simon and they that were with him followed after him.

1:37 Onu bulunca, ‹‹Herkes seni ariyor!›› dediler.

1:37 And when they had found him, they said unto him, All men seek for you.

1:38 Isa onlara, ‹‹Baska yerlere, yakin kasabalara gidelim›› dedi. ‹‹Oralarda da Tanri sözünü duyurayim. Bunun için çikip geldim.››

1:38 And he said unto them, Let us go into the next towns, that I may preach there also: for therefore came I forth.

1:39 Böylece havralarinda Tanri sözünü duyurarak ve cinleri kovarak bütün Celile bölgesini dolasti.

1:39 And he preached in their synagogues throughout all Galilee, and cast out devils.

1:40 Isaya cüzamli biri geldi, diz çökerek, ‹‹Istersen beni temiz kilabilirsin›› diye yalvardi.

1:40 And there came a leper to him, beseeching him, and kneeling down to him, and saying unto him, If you will, you can make me clean.

1:41 Isanin yüregi sizladi, elini uzatip adama dokundu, ‹‹Isterim, temiz ol!›› dedi.

1:41 And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and says unto him, I will; be you clean.

1:42 Adam aninda cüzamdan kurtulup tertemiz oldu.

1:42 And as soon as he had spoken, immediately the leprosy departed from him, and he was cleansed.

1:43 Isa onu sikica uyararak hemen yanindan uzaklastirdi.

1:43 And he strictly charged him, and forthwith sent him away;

1:44 And says unto him, See you say nothing to any man: but go your way, show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing those things which Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

1:45 But he went out, and began to publish it much, and to blaze abroad the matter, (o. logos) insomuch that Jesus could no more openly enter into the city, but was without in desert places: and they came to him from every quarter.

 Mark

2:1 Birkaç gün sonra Isa tekrar Kefarnahuma geldiginde, evde oldugu duyuldu.

2:1 And again he entered into Capernaum after some days; and it was noised that he was in the house.

2:2 And immediately many were gathered together, insomuch that there was no room to receive them, no, not so much as about the door: and he preached the word (o. logos) unto them.

2:3 And they come unto him, bringing one sick of the palsy, which was borne of four.

2:4 Kalabaliktan Ona yaklasamadiklari için, bulundugu yerin üzerindeki dami delip açarak felçliyi üstünde yattigi silteyle birlikte asagi indirdiler.

2:4 And when they could not come nigh unto him for the press, they uncovered the roof where he was: and when they had broken it up, they let down the bed wherein the sick of the palsy lay.

2:5 Isa onlarin imanini görünce felçliye, ‹‹Oglum, günahlarin bagislandi›› dedi.

2:5 When Jesus saw their faith, he said unto the sick of the palsy, Son, your sins be forgiven you.

2:6 Orada oturan bazi din bilginleri ise içlerinden söyle düsündüler: ‹‹Bu adam neden böyle konusuyor? Tanriya küfrediyor! Tanridan baska kim günahlari bagislayabilir?››

2:6 But there was certain of the scribes sitting there, and reasoning in their hearts,

2:7 Why does this man thus speak blasphemies? who can forgive sins but God only?

2:8 Akillarindan geçeni hemen ruhunda sezen Isa onlara, ‹‹Aklinizdan neden böyle seyler geçiriyorsunuz?›› dedi.

2:8 And immediately when Jesus perceived in his spirit (o. pneuma) that they so reasoned within themselves, he said unto them, Why reason all of you these things in your hearts?

2:9 Whether is it easier to say to the sick of the palsy, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Arise, and take up your bed, and walk?

2:10 Ne var ki, Insanoglunun yeryüzünde günahlari bagislama yetkisine sahip oldugunu bilesiniz diye...›› Sonra felçliye, ‹‹Sana söylüyorum, kalk, silteni topla, evine git!›› dedi.

2:10 But that all of you may know that the Son of man has power on earth to forgive sins, (he says to the sick of the palsy,)

2:11 I say unto you, Arise, and take up your bed, and go your way into yours house.

2:12 Adam kalkti, hemen siltesini topladi, hepsinin gözü önünde çikip gitti. Herkes sasakalmisti. Tanriyi övüyorlar, ‹‹Böylesini hiç görmemistik›› diyorlardi.

2:12 And immediately he arose, took up the bed, and went forth before them all; insomuch that they were all amazed, and glorified God, saying, We never saw it on this fashion.

2:13 Isa yine çikip göl kiyisina gitti. Bütün halk yanina geldi, O da onlara ögretmeye basladi.

2:13 And he went forth again by the sea side; and all the multitude resorted unto him, and he taught them.

2:14 Yoldan geçerken, vergi toplama yerinde oturan Alfay oglu Leviyi gördü. Ona, ‹‹Ardimdan gel›› dedi. Levi de kalkip Isanin ardindan gitti.

2:14 And as he passed by, he saw Levi the son of Alphaeus sitting at the receipt of custom, and said unto him, Follow me. And he arose and followed him.

2:15 Sonra Isa, Levinin evinde yemek yerken, birçok vergi görevlisiyle günahkâr Onunla ve ögrencileriyle birlikte sofraya oturmustu. Onu izleyen böyle birçok kisi vardi.

2:15 And it came to pass, that, as Jesus sat at food in his house, many publicans and sinners sat also together with Jesus and his disciples: for there were many, and they followed him.

2:16 Ferisilerden bazi din bilginleri, Onu günahkârlar ve vergi görevlileriyle birlikte yemekte görünce ögrencilerine, ‹‹Niçin vergi görevlileri ve günahkârlarla birlikte yemek yiyor?›› diye sordular.

2:16 And when the scribes and Pharisees saw him eat with publicans and sinners, they said unto his disciples, How is it that he eats and drinks with publicans and sinners?

2:17 Bunu duyan Isa onlara, ‹‹Saglamlarin degil, hastalarin hekime ihtiyaci var›› dedi. ‹‹Ben dogru kisileri degil, günahkârlari çagirmaya geldim.››

2:17 When Jesus heard it, he says unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

2:18 Yahyanin ögrencileriyle Ferisiler oruç tutarken, bazi kisiler Isaya gelip, ‹‹Yahyanin ve Ferisilerin ögrencileri oruç tutuyor da senin ögrencilerin neden tutmuyor?›› diye sordular.

2:18 And the disciples of John and of the Pharisees used to fast: and they come and say unto him, Why do the disciples of John and of the Pharisees fast, but your disciples fast not?

2:19 Isa söyle karsilik verdi: ‹‹Güvey aralarinda oldugu sürece davetliler oruç tutar mi? Güvey aralarinda oldukça oruç tutmazlar!

2:19 And Jesus said unto them, Can the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them? as long as they have the bridegroom with them, they cannot fast.

2:20 Ama güveyin aralarindan alinacagi günler gelecek, onlar iste o zaman, o gün oruç tutacaklar.

2:20 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

2:21 Hiç kimse eski giysiyi yeni kumas parçasiyla yamamaz. Yoksa yeni yama çeker, eski giysiden kopar, yirtik daha beter olur.

2:21 No man also sews a piece of new cloth on an old garment: else the new piece that filled it up takes away from the old, and the rent is made worse.

2:22 Hiç kimse yeni sarabi eski tulumlara doldurmaz. Yoksa sarap tulumlari patlatir, sarap da tulumlar da mahvolur. Yeni sarap yeni tulumlara doldurulur.››

2:22 And no man puts new wine into old bottles: else the new wine does burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be ruined: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

2:23 Bir Sabat Günü Isa ekinler arasindan geçiyordu. Ögrencileri yolda giderken basaklari koparmaya basladilar.

2:23 And it came to pass, that he went through the corn fields on the sabbath day; and his disciples began, as they went, to pluck the ears of corn.

2:24 Ferisiler Isaya, ‹‹Bak, Sabat Günü yasak olani neden yapiyorlar?›› dediler.

2:24 And the Pharisees said unto him, Behold, why do they on the sabbath day that which is not lawful?

2:25 And he said unto them, Have all of you never read what David did, when he had need, and was an hungered, he, and they that were with him?

2:26 How he went into the house of God in the days of Abiathar the high priest, and did eat the showbread, which is not lawful to eat but for the priests, and gave also to them which were with him?

2:27 And he said unto them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath:

2:28 ‹‹Bu nedenle Insanoglu Sabat Günü'nün de Rabbi'dir.››

2:28 Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

 Mark

3:1 Isa yine havraya girdi. Orada eli sakat bir adam vardi.

3:1 And he entered again into the synagogue; and there was a man there which had a withered hand.

3:2 Bazilari Isayi suçlamak amaciyla, Sabat Günü hastayi iyilestirecek mi diye Onu gözlüyorlardi.

3:2 And they watched him, whether he would heal him on the sabbath day; that they might accuse him.

3:3 Isa, eli sakat adama, ‹‹Kalk, öne çik!›› dedi.

3:3 And he says unto the man which had the withered hand, Stand forth.

Can kurtarmak mi dogru, can almak mi?›› diye sordu. Onlardan ses çikmadi.

3:4 And he says unto them, Is it lawful to do good on the sabbath days, or to do evil? to save life, or to kill? But they held their peace.

3:5 Isa, çevresindekilere öfkeyle bakti. Yüreklerinin duygusuzlugu Onu kederlendirmisti. Adama, ‹‹Elini uzat!›› dedi. Adam elini uzatti, eli yine sapasaglam oluverdi.

3:5 And when he had looked round about on them with anger, being grieved for the hardness of their hearts, he says unto the man, Stretch forth yours hand. And he stretched it out: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

3:6 Bunun üzerine Ferisiler disari çiktilar, Isayi yok etmek için Hirodes yanlilariyla hemen görüsmeye basladilar.

3:6 And the Pharisees went forth, and immediately took counsel with the Herodians against him, how they might destroy him.

3:7 Isa, ögrencileriyle birlikte göl kiyisina çekildi. Celileden büyük bir kalabalik Onun ardindan geldi. Ayrica, bütün yaptiklarini duyan büyük kalabaliklar Yahudiyeden, Yerusalimden, Idumeyadan, Seria Irmaginin karsi yakasindan, Sur ve Sayda bölgelerinden kendisine akin etti.

3:7 But Jesus withdrew himself with his disciples to the sea: and a great multitude from Galilee followed him, and from Judaea,

3:8 And from Jerusalem, and from Idumaea, and from beyond Jordan; and they about Tyre and Sidon, a great multitude, when they had heard what great things he did, came unto him.

3:9 And he spoke to his disciples, that a small ship should wait on him because of the multitude, lest they should crowd upon him.

3:10 Birçoklarini iyilestirmis oldugundan, çesitli hastaliklara yakalananlar Ona dokunmak için üzerine üsüsüyordu.

3:10 For he had healed many; insomuch that they pressed upon him in order to touch him, as many as had plagues.

3:11 Kötü ruhlar Onu görünce ayaklarina kapaniyor, ‹‹Sen Tanrinin Oglusun!›› diye bagiriyorlardi.

3:11 And unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) when they saw him, fell down before him, and cried, saying, You are the Son of God.

3:12 And he strictly charged them that they should not make him known.

3:13 Isa, daga çikarak istedigi kisileri yanina çagirdi. Onlar da yanina gittiler.

3:13 And he goes up into a mountain, and calls unto him whom he would: and they came unto him.

3:14 Isa bunlardan on iki kisiyi yaninda bulundurmak, Tanri sözünü duyurmaya göndermek ve cinleri kovmaya yetkili kilmak üzere seçti. Seçtigi bu on iki kisi sunlardir: Petrus adini verdigi Simun, Beni-Reges, yani Gökgürültüsü Ogullari adini verdigi Zebedinin ogullari Yakup ve Yuhanna, Andreas, Filipus, Bartalmay, Matta, Tomas, Alfay oglu Yakup, Taday, Yurtsever Simun ve Isaya ihanet eden Yahuda Iskariot.

3:14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,

3:15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:

3:16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;

3:17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:

3:18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,

3:19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.

3:20 And the multitude comes together again, so that they could not so much as eat bread.

3:21 Yakinlari bunu duyunca, ‹‹Aklini kaçirmis›› diyerek Onu almaya geldiler.

3:21 And when his friends heard of it, they went out to lay hold on him: for they said, He is beside himself.

3:22 Yerusalimden gelen din bilginleri ise, ‹‹Baalzevul Onun içine girmis›› ve ‹‹Cinleri, cinlerin önderinin gücüyle kovuyor›› diyorlardi.

3:22 And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He has Beelzebub, and by the prince of the devils casts he out devils.

3:23 Bunun üzerine Isa din bilginlerini yanina çagirip onlara benzetmelerle seslendi. ‹‹Seytan, Seytani nasil kovabilir?›› dedi.

3:23 And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?

3:24 ‹‹Bir ülke kendi içinde bölünmüsse, ayakta kalamaz.

3:24 And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand.

3:25 Bir ev kendi içinde bölünmüsse, ayakta kalamaz.

3:25 And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

3:26 Seytan da kendine karsi gelip kendi içinde bölünmüsse, artik ayakta kalamaz; sonu gelmis demektir.

3:26 And if Satan rise up against himself, and be divided, he cannot stand, but has an end.

3:27 Hiç kimse güçlü adamin evine girip malini çalamaz. Ancak onu bagladiktan sonra evini soyabilir.

3:27 No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house.

3:28 Size dogrusunu söyleyeyim, insanlarin isledigi her günah, ettigi her küfür bagislanacak, ama Kutsal Ruha küfreden asla bagislanmayacak. Bunu yapan, asla silinmeyecek bir günah islemis olur.››

3:28 Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith whatsoever they shall blaspheme:

3:29 But he that shall blaspheme against the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) has never forgiveness, but is in danger of eternal damnation.

3:30 Because they said, He has an unclean spirit. (o. pneuma)

3:31 Daha sonra Isanin annesiyle kardesleri geldi. Disarida durdular, haber gönderip Onu çagirdilar.

3:31 There came then his brethren and his mother, and, standing without, sent unto him, calling him.

3:32 Isanin çevresinde oturan kalabaliktan bazilari, ‹‹Bak›› dediler, ‹‹Annenle kardeslerin disarida, seni istiyorlar.››

3:32 And the multitude sat about him, and they said unto him, Behold, your mother and your brethren without seek for you.

3:33 Isa buna karsilik onlara, ‹‹Kimdir annem ve kardeslerim?›› dedi.

3:33 And he answered them, saying, Who is my mother, or my brethren?

3:34 Sonra çevresinde oturanlara bakip söyle dedi: ‹‹Iste annem, iste kardeslerim!

3:34 And he looked round about on them which sat about him, and said, Behold my mother and my brethren!

3:35 Tanri'nin istegini kim yerine getirirse, kardesim, kizkardesim ve annem odur.››

3:35 For whosoever shall do the will of God, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.

 Mark

4:1 And he began again to teach by the sea side: and there was gathered unto him a great multitude, so that he entered into a ship, and sat in the sea; and the whole multitude was by the sea on the land.

4:2 Isa onlara benzetmelerle birçok sey ögretiyordu. Ögretirken, ‹‹Sunu dinleyin›› dedi. ‹‹Ekincinin biri tohum ekmeye çikti.

4:2 And he taught them many things by parables, and said unto them in his doctrine,

4:3 Hearken; Behold, there went out a sower to sow:

4:4 Ektigi tohumlardan kimi yol kenarina düstü. Kuslar gelip bunlari yedi.

4:4 And it came to pass, as he sowed, some fell by the way side, and the fowls of the air came and devoured it up.

4:5 Kimi, topragi az kayalik yerlere düstü. Toprak derin olmadigindan hemen filizlendi.

4:5 And some fell on stony ground, where it had not much earth; and immediately it sprang up, because it had no depth of earth:

4:6 Ne var ki, günes dogunca kavruldular, kök salamadiklari için kuruyup gittiler.

4:6 But when the sun was up, it was scorched; and because it had no root, it withered away.

4:7 Kimi, dikenler arasina düstü. Dikenler büyüdü, filizleri bogdu ve filizler ürün vermedi.

4:7 And some fell among thorns, and the thorns grew up, and choked it, and it yielded no fruit.

4:8 Kimi ise iyi topraga düstü, büyüyüp çogaldi, ürün verdi. Bazisi otuz, bazisi altmis, bazisi da yüz kat ürün verdi.››

4:8 And other fell on good ground, and did yield fruit that sprang up and increased; and brought forth, some thirty, and some sixty, and some an hundred.

4:9 And he said unto them, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

4:10 Onikilerle öbür izleyicileri Isayla yalniz kalinca, kendisinden benzetmelerin anlamini sordular.

4:10 And when he was alone, they that were about him with the twelve asked of him the parable.

4:11 And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:

4:12 Öyle ki, ‹Bakip bakip görmesinler, Duyup duyup anlamasinlar da, Dönüp bagislanmasinlar.› ››

4:12 That seeing they may see, and not perceive; and hearing they may hear, and not understand; lest at any time they should be converted, and their sins should be forgiven them.

4:13 And he said unto them, Know all of you not this parable? and how then will all of you know all parables?

4:14 Ekincinin ektigi, Tanri sözüdür.

4:14 The sower sows the word. (o. logos)

4:15 Bazi insanlar sözün ekildigi yerde yol kenarina düsen tohumlara benzer. Bunlar sözü isitir isitmez, Seytan gelir, yüreklerine ekilen sözü alir götürür.

4:15 And these are they by the way side, where the word (o. logos) is sown; but when they have heard, Satan comes immediately, and takes away the word (o. logos) that was sown in their hearts.

4:16 And these are they likewise which are sown on stony ground; who, when they have heard the word, (o. logos) immediately receive it with gladness;

4:17 And have no root in themselves, and so endure but for a time: afterward, when affliction or persecution arises for the word's sake, (o. logos) immediately they are offended.

4:18 Yine bazilari dikenler arasinda ekilen tohumlara benzerler.

4:18 And these are they which are sown among thorns; such as hear the word, (o. logos)

4:19 And the cares of this world, and the deceitfulness of riches, and the lusts of other things entering in, choke the word, (o. logos) and it becomes unfruitful.

4:20 Iyi topraga ekilenler ise, sözü isiten, onu benimseyen, kimi otuz, kimi altmis, kimi de yüz kat ürün veren kisilerdir.››

4:20 And these are they which are sown on good ground; such as hear the word, (o. logos) and receive it, and bring forth fruit, some thirtyfold, some sixty, and some an hundred.

4:21 And he said unto them, Is a candle brought to be put under a bushel, or under a bed? and not to be set on a candlestick?

4:22 For there is nothing hid, which shall not be manifested; neither was any thing kept secret, but that it should come abroad.

4:23 Isitecek kulagi olan isitsin!››

4:23 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

4:24 Isa söyle devam etti: ‹‹Isittiklerinize dikkat edin! Hangi ölçekle verirseniz, ayni ölçekle alacaksiniz. Hatta size daha fazlasi verilecek.

4:24 And he said unto them, Take heed what all of you hear: with what measure all of you mete, it shall be measured to you: and unto you that hear shall more be given.

4:25 Çünkü kimde varsa, ona daha çok verilecek. Ama kimde yoksa, elindeki de alinacak.››

4:25 For he that has, to him shall be given: and he that has not, from him shall be taken even that which he has.

4:26 Sonra Isa söyle dedi: ‹‹Tanrinin Egemenligi, topraga tohum saçan adama benzer.

4:26 And he said, So is the kingdom of God, as if a man should cast seed into the ground;

4:27 Gece olur, uyur; gündüz olur, kalkar. Kendisi nasil oldugunu bilmez ama, tohum filizlenir, gelisir.

4:27 And should sleep, and rise night and day, and the seed should spring and grow up, he knows not how.

4:28 For the earth brings forth fruit of herself; first the blade, then the ear, after that the full corn in the ear.

4:29 Ürün olgunlasinca, adam hemen oragi vurur. Çünkü biçim vakti gelmistir.››

4:29 But when the fruit is brought forth, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.

4:30 And he said, Unto which shall we liken the kingdom of God? or with what comparison shall we compare it?

4:31 Tanrinin Egemenligi, hardal tanesine benzer. Hardal, yeryüzünde topraga ekilen tohumlarin en küçügü olmakla birlikte, ekildikten sonra gelisir, bütün bahçe bitkilerinin boyunu asar. Öylesine dal budak salar ki, kuslar gölgesinde barinabilir.››

4:31 It is like a grain of mustard seed, which, when it is sown in the earth, is less than all the seeds that be in the earth:

4:32 But when it is sown, it grows up, and becomes greater than all herbs, and shoots out great branches; so that the fowls of the air may lodge under the shadow of it.

4:33 Isa, Tanri sözünü, buna benzer birçok benzetmeyle halkin anlayabildigi ölçüde anlatirdi.

4:33 And with many such parables spoke he the word (o. logos) unto them, as they were able to hear it.

4:34 Benzetme kullanmadan onlara hiçbir sey anlatmazdi. Ama kendi ögrencileriyle yalniz kaldiginda, onlara her seyi açiklardi.

4:34 But without a parable spoke he not unto them: and when they were alone, he expounded all things to his disciples.

4:35 O gün aksam olunca ögrencilerine, ‹‹Karsi yakaya geçelim›› dedi.

4:35 And the same day, when the even was come, he says unto them, Let us pass over unto the other side.

4:36 Ögrenciler kalabaligi geride birakarak Isayi, içinde bulundugu tekneyle götürdüler. Yaninda baska tekneler de vardi.

4:36 And when they had sent away the multitude, they took him even as he was in the ship. And there were also with him other little ships.

4:37 Bu sirada büyük bir firtina koptu. Dalgalar tekneye öyle bindirdi ki, tekne neredeyse suyla dolmustu.

4:37 And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full.

4:38 Isa, teknenin kiç tarafinda bir yastiga yaslanmis uyuyordu. Ögrenciler Onu uyandirip, ‹‹Ögretmenimiz, ölecegiz! Hiç aldirmiyor musun?›› dediler.

4:38 And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, care you not that we perish?

4:39 Isa kalkip rüzgari azarladi, göle, ‹‹Sus, sakin ol!›› dedi. Rüzgar dindi, ortalik sütliman oldu.

4:39 And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm.

4:40 Isa ögrencilerine, ‹‹Neden korkuyorsunuz? Hâlâ imaniniz yok mu?›› dedi.

4:40 And he said unto them, Why are all of you so fearful? how is it that all of you have no faith?

4:41 And they feared exceedingly, and said one to another, What manner of man is this, that even the wind and the sea obey him?

 Mark

5:1 Gölün karsi yakasina, Gerasalilarin memleketine vardilar.

5:1 And they came over unto the other side of the sea, into the country of the Gadarenes.

5:2 Isa tekneden iner inmez, kötü ruha tutulmus bir adam mezarlik magaralardan çikip Onu karsiladi.

5:2 And when he was come out of the ship, immediately there met him out of the tombs a man with an unclean spirit, (o. pneuma)

5:3 Mezarlarin içinde yasayan bu adami artik kimse zincirle bile bagli tutamiyordu.

5:3 Who had his dwelling among the tombs; and no man could bind him, no, not with chains:

5:4 Birçok kez zincir ve kösteklerle baglandigi halde, zincirleri koparmis, köstekleri parçalamisti. Hiç kimse onunla basa çikamiyordu.

5:4 Because that he had been often bound with fetters and chains, and the chains had been plucked asunder by him, and the fetters broken in pieces: neither could any man tame him.

5:5 Gece gündüz mezarlarda, daglarda bagirip duruyor, kendini taslarla yaraliyordu.

5:5 And always, night and day, he was in the mountains, and in the tombs, crying, and cutting himself with stones.

5:6 Uzaktan Isayi görünce kosup geldi, Onun önünde yere kapandi.

5:6 But when he saw Jesus far off, he ran and worshipped him,

5:7 Yüksek sesle haykirarak, ‹‹Ey Isa, yüce Tanrinin Oglu, benden ne istiyorsun? Tanri hakki için sana yalvaririm, bana iskence etme!›› dedi.

5:7 And cried with a loud voice, and said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of the most high God? I adjure you by God, that you torment me not.

5:8 Çünkü Isa, ‹‹Ey kötü ruh, adamin içinden çik!›› demisti.

5:8 For he said unto him, Come out of the man, you unclean spirit. (o. pneuma)

5:9 Sonra Isa adama, ‹‹Adin ne?›› diye sordu. ‹‹Adim Tümen. Çünkü sayimiz çok›› dedi.

5:9 And he asked him, What is your name? And he answered, saying, My name is Legion: for we are many.

5:10 Ruhlari o bölgeden çikarmamasi için Isaya yalvarip yakardi.

5:10 And he besought him much that he would not send them away out of the country.

5:11 Orada, dagin yamacinda otlayan büyük bir domuz sürüsü vardi.

5:11 Now there was there nigh unto the mountains a great herd of swine feeding.

5:12 Kötü ruhlar Isaya, ‹‹Bizi su domuzlara gönder, onlara girelim›› diye yalvardilar.

5:12 And all the devils besought him, saying, Send us into the swine, that we may enter into them.

5:13 Isanin izin vermesi üzerine kötü ruhlar adamdan çikip domuzlarin içine girdiler. Yaklasik iki bin domuzdan olusan sürü, dik yamaçtan asagi kosusarak göle atlayip boguldu.

5:13 And forthwith Jesus gave them leave. And the unclean spirits (o. pneuma) went out, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the sea, (they were about two thousand;) and were choked in the sea.

5:14 Domuzlari güdenler kaçip kentte ve köylerde olayin haberini yaydilar. Halk olup biteni görmeye çikti.

5:14 And they that fed the swine fled, and told it in the city, and in the country. And they went out to see what it was that was done.

5:15 Isanin yanina geldiklerinde, önceleri bir tümen cine tutulan adami giyinmis, akli basina gelmis, oturmus görünce korktular.

5:15 And they come to Jesus, and see him that was possessed with the devil, and had the legion, sitting, and clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

5:16 Olayi görenler, cinli adama olanlari ve domuzlarin basina gelenleri halka anlattilar.

5:16 And they that saw it told them how it befell to him that was possessed with the devil, and also concerning the swine.

5:17 Bunun üzerine halk, bölgelerinden ayrilmasi için Isaya yalvarmaya basladi.

5:17 And they began to pray him to depart out of their coasts.

5:18 Isa tekneye binerken, önceleri cinli olan adam Ona, ‹‹Seninle geleyim›› diye yalvardi.

5:18 And when he was come into the ship, he that had been possessed with the devil prayed him that he might be with him.

5:19 Ama Isa adama izin vermedi. Ona, ‹‹Evine, yakinlarinin yanina dön›› dedi. ‹‹Rabbin senin için neler yaptigini, sana nasil merhamet ettigini onlara anlat.››

5:19 Nevertheless Jesus suffered him not, but says unto him, Go home to your friends, and tell them how great things the Lord has done for you, and has had compassion on you.

Anlattiklarina herkes sasip kaliyordu.

5:20 And he departed, and began to publish in Decapolis how great things Jesus had done for him: and all men did marvel.

5:21 Isa tekneyle karsi yakaya dönünce, çevresinde büyük bir kalabalik toplandi. Kendisi gölün kiyisinda duruyordu.

5:21 And when Jesus was passed over again by ship unto the other side, much people gathered unto him: and he was nigh unto the sea.

5:22 Bu sirada havra yöneticilerinden Yair adinda biri geldi. Isayi görünce ayaklarina kapandi, ‹‹Küçük kizim can çekisiyor. Gelip ellerini onun üzerine koy da kurtulsun, yasasin!›› diye yalvardi.

5:22 And, behold, there comes one of the rulers of the synagogue, Jairus by name; and when he saw him, he fell at his feet,

5:23 And besought him greatly, saying, My little daughter lies at the point of death: I pray you, come and lay your hands on her, that she may be healed; and she shall live.

5:24 Isa adamla birlikte gitti.

5:24 And Jesus went with him; and much people followed him, and thronged him.

5:25 Orada, on iki yildir kanamasi olan bir kadin vardi.

5:25 And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years,

5:26 And had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing improved, but rather grew worse,

5:27 Kadin, Isa hakkinda anlatilanlari duymustu. Bu nedenle, kalabalikta Onun arkasindan gelip giysisine dokundu.

5:27 When she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment.

5:28 Içinden, ‹‹Giysilerine bile dokunsam kurtulurum›› diyordu.

5:28 For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole.

5:29 O anda kanamasi kesiliverdi. Kadin, bedeninin derinliginde acidan kurtuldugunu hissetti.

5:29 And immediately the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague.

Kalabaligin ortasinda dönüp, ‹‹Giysilerime kim dokundu?›› diye sordu.

5:30 And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes?

5:31 Ögrencileri Ona, ‹‹Seni sikistiran kalabaligi görüyorsun! Nasil oluyor da, ‹Bana kim dokundu› diye soruyorsun?›› dediler.

5:31 And his disciples said unto him, You see the multitude thronging you, and says you, Who touched me?

5:32 Isa kendisine dokunani görmek için çevresine bakindi.

5:32 And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing.

5:33 Kadin da kendisindeki degisikligi biliyordu. Korkuyla titreyerek geldi, Isanin ayaklarina kapandi ve Ona bütün gerçegi anlatti.

5:33 But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth.

5:34 Isa ona, ‹‹Kizim›› dedi, ‹‹Imanin seni kurtardi. Esenlikle git. Acilarin son bulsun.››

5:34 And he said unto her, Daughter, your faith has made you whole; go in peace, and be whole of your plague.

5:35 Isa daha konusurken, havra yöneticisinin evinden adamlar geldi. Yöneticiye, ‹‹Kizin öldü›› dediler. ‹‹Ögretmeni neden hâlâ rahatsiz ediyorsun?››

5:35 While he yet spoke, there came from the ruler of the synagogue's house certain which said, Your daughter is dead: why trouble you the Master any further?

5:36 Isa bu sözlere aldirmadan havra yöneticisine, ‹‹Korkma, yalniz iman et!›› dedi.

5:36 As soon as Jesus heard the word (o. logos) that was spoken, he says unto the ruler of the synagogue, Be not afraid, only believe.

5:37 Isa, Petrus, Yakup ve Yakupun kardesi Yuhannadan baska hiç kimsenin kendisiyle birlikte gitmesine izin vermedi.

5:37 And he suffered no man to follow him, save Peter, and James, and John the brother of James.

5:38 Havra yöneticisinin evine vardiklarinda Isa, aci aci aglayip feryat eden gürültülü bir kalabalikla karsilasti.

5:38 And he comes to the house of the ruler of the synagogue, and sees the tumult, and them that wept and wailed greatly.

5:39 Içeri girerek onlara, ‹‹Niye gürültü edip agliyorsunuz?›› dedi. ‹‹Çocuk ölmedi, uyuyor.››

5:39 And when he was come in, he says unto them, Why make all of you this disturbance, and weep? the damsel is not dead, but sleeps.

5:40 And they laughed him to scorn. But when he had put them all out, he takes the father and the mother of the damsel, and them that were with him, and enters in where the damsel was lying.

5:41 Çocugun elini tutarak ona, ‹‹Talita kumi!›› dedi. Bu söz, ‹‹Kizim, sana söylüyorum, kalk›› demektir.

5:41 And he took the damsel by the hand, and said unto her, Talitha cumi; which is, being interpreted, Damsel, I say unto you, arise.

5:42 On iki yasinda olan kiz hemen ayaga kalkti, yürümeye basladi. Oradakileri derin bir saskinlik aldi.

5:42 And immediately the damsel arose, and walked; for she was of the age of twelve years. And they were astonished with a great astonishment.

5:43 Isa, ‹‹Bunu kimse bilmesin›› diyerek onlari siki sikiya uyardi ve kiza yemek verilmesini buyurdu.

5:43 And he charged them strictly that no man should know it; and commanded that something should be given her to eat.

 Mark

6:1 Isa oradan ayrilarak kendi memleketine gitti. Ögrencileri de ardindan gittiler.

6:1 And he went out from thence, and came into his own country; and his disciples follow him.

6:2 Sabat Günü olunca Isa havrada ögretmeye basladi. Söylediklerini isiten birçok kisi sasip kaldi. ‹‹Bu adam bunlari nereden ögrendi?›› diye soruyorlardi. ‹‹Kendisine verilen bu bilgelik nedir? Nasil böyle mucizeler yapabiliyor?

6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, he began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing him were astonished, saying, From whence has this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto him, that even such mighty works are wrought by his hands?

Kizkardesleri burada, aramizda yasamiyor mu?›› Ve gücenip Onu reddettiler.

6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not his sisters here with us? And they were offended at him.

6:4 Isa da onlara, ‹‹Bir peygamber, kendi memleketinden, akraba çevresinden ve kendi evinden baska yerde hor görülmez›› dedi.

6:4 But Jesus, said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.

6:5 Orada birkaç hastayi, üzerlerine ellerini koyarak iyilestirmekten baska hiçbir mucize yapamadi.

6:5 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.

6:6 Halkin imansizligina sasiyordu. Isa çevredeki köyleri dolasip ögretiyordu.

6:6 And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.

6:7 On iki ögrencisini yanina çagirdi ve onlari ikiser ikiser halk arasina göndermeye basladi. Onlara kötü ruhlar üzerinde yetki verdi.

6:7 And he called unto him the twelve, and began to send them forth by two and two; and gave them power over unclean spirits; (o. pneuma)

6:8 And commanded them that they should take nothing for their journey, save a staff only; no pouch, no bread, no money in their purse:

6:9 Onlara çarik giymelerini söyledi. Ama, ‹‹Iki mintan giymeyin›› dedi.

6:9 But be shod with sandals; and not put on two coats.

6:10 ‹‹Bir yere gittiginiz zaman, oradan ayrilincaya dek hep ayni evde kalin›› diye devam etti.

6:10 And he said unto them, In what place whatsoever all of you enter into an house, there abide till all of you depart from that place.

6:11 ‹‹Insanlarin sizi kabul etmedikleri, sizi dinlemedikleri bir yerden ayrilirken, onlara uyari olsun diye ayaginizin altindaki tozu silkin!››

6:11 And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when all of you depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

6:12 Böylece ögrenciler yola çikip insanlari tövbeye çagirmaya basladilar.

6:12 And they went out, and preached that men should repent.

6:13 Birçok cin kovdular; birçok hastayi, üzerlerine yag sürerek iyilestirdiler.

6:13 And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them.

6:14 Kral Hirodes de olup bitenleri duydu. Çünkü Isanin ünü her tarafa yayilmisti. Bazilari, ‹‹Bu adam, ölümden dirilen Vaftizci Yahyadir. Olaganüstü güçlerin onda etkin olmasinin nedeni budur›› diyordu.

6:14 And king Herod heard of him; (for his name was spread abroad:) and he said, That John the Baptist was risen from the dead, and therefore mighty works do show forth themselves in him.

6:15 Others said, That it is Elijah. And others said, That it is a prophet, or as one of the prophets.

6:16 Hirodes bunlari duyunca, ‹‹Basini kestirdigim Yahya dirildi!›› dedi.

6:16 But when Herod heard thereof, he said, It is John, whom I beheaded: he has risen from the dead.

6:17 Hirodesin kendisi, kardesi Filipusun karisi Hirodiyanin yüzünden adam gönderip Yahyayi tutuklatmis, zindana attirip zincire vurdurmustu. Çünkü Hirodes bu kadinla evlenince Yahya ona, ‹‹Kardesinin karisiyla evlenmen Kutsal Yasaya aykiridir›› demisti.

6:17 For Herod himself had sent forth and laid hold upon John, and bound him in prison for Herodias' sake, his brother Philip's wife: for he had married her.

6:18 For John had said unto Herod, It is not lawful for you to have your brother's wife.

6:19 Therefore Herodias had a quarrel against him, and would have killed him; but she could not:

6:20 Çünkü Yahyanin dogru ve kutsal bir adam oldugunu bilen Hirodes ondan korkuyor ve onu koruyordu. Yahyayi dinledigi zaman büyük bir saskinlik içinde kaliyor, yine de onu dinlemekten zevk aliyordu.

6:20 For Herod feared John, knowing that he was a just man and an holy, and observed him; and when he heard him, he did many things, and heard him gladly.

6:21 And when a convenient day was come, that Herod on his birthday made a supper to his lords, high captains, and chief estates of Galilee;

6:22 Hirodiyanin kizi içeri girip dans etti. Bu, Hirodesle konuklarinin hosuna gitti. Kral genç kiza, ‹‹Dile benden, ne dilersen veririm›› dedi.

6:22 And when the daughter of the said Herodias came in, and danced, and pleased Herod and them that sat with him, the king said unto the damsel, Ask of me whatsoever you will, and I will give it you.

6:23 And he swore unto her, Whatsoever you shall ask of me, I will give it you, unto the half of my kingdom.

6:24 Kiz disari çikip annesine, ‹‹Ne isteyeyim?›› diye sordu. ‹‹Vaftizci Yahyanin basini iste›› dedi annesi.

6:24 And she went forth, and said unto her mother, What shall I ask? And she said, The head of John the Baptist.

6:25 Kiz hemen kosup kralin yanina girdi, ‹‹Vaftizci Yahyanin basini bir tepsi üzerinde hemen bana vermeni istiyorum›› diyerek dilegini açikladi.

6:25 And she came in immediately with haste unto the king, and asked, saying, I will that you give me by and by in a charger the head of John the Baptist.

6:26 And the king was exceeding sorry; yet for his oath's sake, and for their sakes which sat with him, he would not reject her.

6:27 Hemen bir cellat gönderip Yahyanin basini getirmesini buyurdu. Cellat zindana giderek Yahyanin basini kesti.

6:27 And immediately the king sent an executioner, and commanded his head to be brought: and he went and beheaded him in the prison,

6:28 And brought his head in a charger, and gave it to the damsel: and the damsel gave it to her mother.

6:29 Yahyanin ögrencileri bunu duyunca gelip cesedi aldilar ve mezara koydular.

6:29 And when his disciples heard of it, they came and took up his corpse, and laid it in a tomb.

6:30 Elçiler, Isanin yanina dönerek yaptiklari ve ögrettikleri her seyi Ona anlattilar.

6:30 And the apostles gathered themselves together unto Jesus, and told him all things, both what they had done, and what they had taught.

6:31 And he said unto them, Come all of you yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.

6:32 Tekneye binip tek baslarina tenha bir yere dogru yol aldilar.

6:32 And they departed into a desert place by ship privately.

6:33 Gittiklerini gören birçok kisi onlari tanidi. Halk civardaki bütün kentlerden yaya olarak yola dökülüp onlardan önce oraya vardi.

6:33 And the people saw them departing, and many knew him, and ran on foot thither out of all cities, and advanced before them, and came together unto him.

6:34 And Jesus, when he came out, saw much people, and was moved with compassion toward them, because they were as sheep not having a shepherd: and he began to teach them many things.

6:35 Vakit ilerlemisti.

6:35 And when the day was now far spent, his disciples came unto him, and said, This is a desert place, and now the time is far passed:

6:36 Send them away, that they may go into the country round about, and into the villages, and buy themselves bread: for they have nothing to eat.

6:37 Isa ise, ‹‹Onlara siz yiyecek verin›› diye karsilik verdi. Ögrenciler Isaya, ‹‹Gidip iki yüz dinarlik ekmek alip onlara yedirelim mi yani?›› diye sordular.

6:37 He answered and said unto them, Give all of you them to eat. And they say unto him, Shall we go and buy two hundred pennyworth of bread, and give them to eat?

6:38 Isa onlara, ‹‹Kaç ekmeginiz var, gidin bakin›› dedi. Ögrenip geldiler, ‹‹Bes ekmekle iki baligimiz var›› dediler.

6:38 He says unto them, How many loaves have all of you? go and see. And when they knew, they say, Five, and two fishes.

6:39 Isa herkesi küme küme yesil çayira oturtmalarini buyurdu.

6:39 And he commanded them to make all sit down by companies upon the green grass.

6:40 Halk yüzer elliser kisilik bölükler halinde oturdu.

6:40 And they sat down in ranks, by hundreds, and by fifties.

6:41 And when he had taken the five loaves and the two fishes, he looked up to heaven, and blessed, and brake the loaves, and gave them to his disciples to set before them; and the two fishes divided he among them all.

6:42 Herkes yiyip doydu. Artakalan ekmek ve baliktan on iki sepet dolusu topladilar.

6:42 And they did all eat, and were filled.

6:43 And they took up twelve baskets full of the fragments, and of the fishes.

6:44 Yemek yiyen erkeklerin sayisi bes bin kadardi.

6:44 And they that did eat of the loaves were about five thousand men.

6:45 Bundan hemen sonra Isa ögrencilerine, tekneye binip kendisinden önce karsi yakada bulunan Beytsaydaya geçmelerini buyurdu. Bu arada kendisi halki evlerine gönderecekti.

6:45 And immediately he constrained his disciples to get into the ship, and to go to the other side before unto Bethsaida, while he sent away the people.

6:46 And when he had sent them away, he departed into a mountain to pray.

6:47 Aksam oldugunda, tekne gölün ortasina varmisti. Yalniz basina karada kalan Isa, ögrencilerinin kürek çekmekte çok zorlandiklarini gördü. Çünkü rüzgar onlara karsi esiyordu. Sabaha karsi Isa, gölün üstünde yürüyerek onlara yaklasti. Yanlarindan geçip gidecekti.

6:47 And when even was come, the ship was in the midst of the sea, and he alone on the land.

6:48 And he saw them toiling in rowing; for the wind was contrary unto them: and about the fourth watch of the night he comes unto them, walking upon the sea, and would have passed by them.

6:49 Onlar ise, gölün üstünde yürüdügünü görünce Onu hayalet sanarak bagristilar.

6:49 But when they saw him walking upon the sea, they supposed it had been a spirit, and cried out:

6:50 Hepsi Onu görmüs ve dehsete kapilmisti. Isa hemen onlara seslenerek, ‹‹Cesur olun, benim, korkmayin!›› dedi.

6:50 For they all saw him, and were troubled. And immediately he talked with them, and says unto them, Be of good cheer: it is I; be not afraid.

6:51 Tekneye binip onlara katilinca rüzgar dindi. Onlarsa büyük bir saskinlik içindeydi.

6:51 And he went up unto them into the ship; and the wind ceased: and they were sore amazed in themselves beyond measure, and wondered.

6:52 Ekmekle ilgili mucizeyi bile anlamamislardi; zihinleri körelmisti.

6:52 For they considered not the miracle of the loaves: for their heart was hardened.

6:53 Isayla ögrencileri gölü astilar, Ginnesarda karaya çikip tekneyi bagladilar.

6:53 And when they had passed over, they came into the land of Gennesaret, and drew to the shore.

6:54 Onlar tekneden inince, halk Isayi hemen tanidi.

6:54 And when they were come out of the ship, immediately they knew him,

6:55 Bazilari kosarak bütün yöreyi dolasti. Isanin bulundugu yeri ögrenenler, hastalari silteleriyle oraya götürmeye basladilar.

6:55 And ran through that whole region round about, and began to carry about in beds those that were sick, where they heard he was.

6:56 Köy olsun, kent ya da çiftlik olsun, Isa'nin gittigi her yerde, hastalari meydanlara yatiriyor, sadece giysisinin etegine dokunmalarina izin vermesi için yalvariyorlardi. Dokunanlarin hepsi de iyilesti.

6:56 And anywhere he entered, into villages, or cities, or country, they laid the sick in the streets, and besought him that they might touch if it were but the border of his garment: and as many as touched him were made whole.

7:1 Yerusalimden gelen Ferisiler ve bazi din bilginleri, Isanin çevresinde toplandilar.

7:1 Then came together unto him the Pharisees, and certain of the scribes, which came from Jerusalem.

7:2 Onun ögrencilerinden bazilarinin murdar, yani yikanmamis ellerle yemek yediklerini gördüler.

7:2 And when they saw some of his disciples eat bread with defiled, that is to say, with unwashed, hands, they found fault.

7:3 Ferisiler, hatta bütün Yahudiler, atalarinin töresi uyarinca ellerini iyice yikamadan yemek yemezler.

7:3 For the Pharisees, and all the Jews, except they wash their hands often, eat not, holding the tradition of the elders.

7:4 And when they come from the market, except they wash, they eat not. And many other things there be, which they have received to hold, as the washing of cups, and pots, brazen vessels, and of tables.

7:5 Ferisiler ve din bilginleri Isaya, ‹‹Ögrencilerin neden atalarimizin töresine uymuyorlar, niçin murdar ellerle yemek yiyorlar?›› diye sordular.

7:5 Then the Pharisees and scribes asked him, Why walk not your disciples according to the tradition of the elders, but eat bread with unwashed hands?

7:6 He answered and said unto them, Well has Isaiah prophesied of you hypocrites, as it is written, This people honors me with their lips, but their heart is far from me.

7:7 Bana bosuna taparlar. Çünkü ögrettikleri, sadece insan buyruklaridir.›

7:7 Nevertheless in vain do they worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.

7:8 Siz Tanri buyrugunu bir yana birakmis, insan töresine uyuyorsunuz.››

7:8 For laying aside the commandment of God, all of you hold the tradition of men, as the washing of pots and cups: and many other such like things all of you do.

7:9 And he said unto them, Full well all of you reject the commandment of God, that all of you may keep your own tradition.

7:10 For Moses said, Honour your father and your mother; and, Whoso curses father or mother, let him die the death:

7:11 Ama siz, ‹Eger bir adam annesine ya da babasina, benden alacagin bütün yardim kurbandir, yani Tanriya adanmistir derse, artik annesi ya da babasi için bir sey yapmasina izin yok› diyorsunuz.

7:11 But all of you say, If a man shall say to his father or mother, It is Corban, that is to say, a gift, by whatsoever you might be profited by me; he shall be free.

7:12 And all of you suffer him no more to do ought for his father or his mother;

7:13 Böylece kusaktan kusaga aktardiginiz törelerle Tanrinin sözünü geçersiz kiliyorsunuz. Buna benzer daha birçok sey yapiyorsunuz.››

7:13 Making the word (o. logos) of God of no effect through your tradition, which all of you have delivered: and many such like things do all of you.

7:14 Isa, halki yine yanina çagirip onlara, ‹‹Hepiniz beni dinleyin ve sunu belleyin›› dedi.

7:14 And when he had called all the people unto him, he said unto them, Hearken unto me every one of you, and understand:

7:15 ‹‹Insanin disinda olup içine giren hiçbir sey onu kirletemez. Insani kirleten, insanin içinden çikandir.››

7:15 There is nothing from without a man, that entering into him can defile him: but the things which come out of him, those are they that defile the man.

7:16 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.

7:17 Isa kalabaligi birakip eve girince, ögrencileri Ona bu benzetmenin anlamini sordular.

7:17 And when he was entered into the house from the people, his disciples asked him concerning the parable.

7:18 And he says unto them, Are all of you so without understanding also? Do all of you not perceive, that whatsoever thing from without enters into the man, it cannot defile him;

7:19 Distan giren, insanin yüregine degil, midesine gider, oradan da helaya atilir.›› Isa bu sözlerle, bütün yiyeceklerin temiz oldugunu bildirmis oluyordu.

7:19 Because it enters not into his heart, but into the belly, and goes out into the draught, purging all meats?

7:20 Isa söyle devam etti: ‹‹Insani kirleten, insanin içinden çikandir.

7:20 And he said, That which comes out of the man, that defiles the man.

7:21 Çünkü kötü düsünceler, fuhus, hirsizlik, cinayet, zina, açgözlülük, kötülük, hile, sefahat, kiskançlik, iftira, kibir ve akilsizlik içten, insanin yüreginden kaynaklanir.

7:21 For from within, out of the heart of men, proceed evil thoughts, adulteries, fornications, murders,

7:22 Thefts, covetousness, wickedness, deceit, lasciviousness, an evil eye, blasphemy, pride, foolishness:

7:23 All these evil things come from within, and defile the man.

7:24 Isa oradan ayrilarak Sur bölgesine gitti. Burada bir eve girdi. Kimsenin bunu bilmesini istemiyordu, ama gizlenemedi.

7:24 And from thence he arose, and went into the borders of Tyre and Sidon, and entered into an house, and would have no man know it: but he could not be hid.

7:25 Küçük kizi kötü ruha tutulmus bir kadin, Isayla ilgili haberi duyar duymaz geldi, ayaklarina kapandi.

7:25 For a certain woman, whose young daughter had an unclean spirit, (o. pneuma) heard of him, and came and fell at his feet:

7:26 Yahudi olmayan bu kadin Suriye-Fenike irkindandi. Kizindan cini kovmasi için Isaya rica etti.

7:26 The woman was a Greek, a Syrophenician by nation; and she besought him that he would cast forth the devil out of her daughter.

7:27 Isa ona, ‹‹Birak, önce çocuklar doysunlar›› dedi. ‹‹Çocuklarin ekmegini alip köpeklere atmak dogru degildir.››

7:27 But Jesus said unto her, Let the children first be filled: for it is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it unto the dogs.

7:28 Kadin buna karsilik, ‹‹Haklisin, Rab›› dedi.

7:28 And she answered and said unto him, Yes, Lord: yet the dogs under the table eat of the children's crumbs.

7:29 Isa ona, ‹‹Bu sözden ötürü cin kizindan çikti, gidebilirsin›› dedi.

7:29 And he said unto her, For this saying (o. logos) go your way; the devil is gone out of your daughter.

7:30 Kadin evine gittiginde çocugunu cinden kurtulmus, yatakta yatar buldu.

7:30 And when she was come to her house, she found the devil gone out, and her daughter laid upon the bed.

7:31 Sur bölgesinden ayrilan Isa, Sayda yoluyla Dekapolis bölgesinin ortasindan geçerek tekrar Celile Gölüne geldi.

7:31 And again, departing from the coasts of Tyre and Sidon, he came unto the sea of Galilee, through the midst of the coasts of Decapolis.

7:32 And they bring unto him one that was deaf, and had an barrier in his speech; and they plead to him to put his hand upon him.

7:33 Isa adami kalabaliktan ayirip bir yana çekti. Parmaklarini adamin kulaklarina soktu, tükürüp onun diline dokundu.

7:33 And he took him aside from the multitude, and put his fingers into his ears, and he spit, and touched his tongue;

7:34 And looking up to heaven, he sighed, and says unto him, Ephphatha, that is, Be opened.

7:35 And immediately his ears were opened, and the string of his tongue was loosed, and he spoke plain.

7:36 And he charged them that they should tell no man: but the more he charged them, so much the more a great deal they published it;

7:37 Halk büyük bir hayret içinde kalmisti. ‹‹Yaptigi her sey iyi. Sagirlarin kulaklarini açiyor, dilsizleri konusturuyor!›› diyorlardi.

7:37 And were beyond measure astonished, saying, He has done all things well: he makes both the deaf to hear, and the dumb to speak.

 Mark

8:1 In those days the multitude being very great, and having nothing to eat, Jesus called his disciples unto him, and says unto them,

8:2 I have compassion on the multitude, because they have now been with me three days, and have nothing to eat:

8:3 Onlari aç aç evlerine gönderirsem, yolda bayilirlar. Hem bazilari uzak yoldan geliyor.››

8:3 And if I send them away fasting to their own houses, they will faint by the way: for divers of them came from far.

8:4 And his disciples answered him, From whence can a man satisfy these men with bread here in the wilderness?

8:5 Isa, ‹‹Kaç ekmeginiz var?›› diye sordu. ‹‹Yedi tane›› dediler.

8:5 And he asked them, How many loaves have all of you? And they said, Seven.

8:6 Bunun üzerine Isa, halka yere oturmalarini buyurdu.

8:6 And he commanded the people to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and gave thanks, and brake, and gave to his disciples to set before them; and they did set them before the people.

8:7 Birkaç küçük baliklari da vardi. Isa sükredip bunlari da dagitmalarini söyledi.

8:7 And they had a few small fishes: and he blessed, and commanded to set them also before them.

8:8 Herkes yiyip doydu. Artakalan parçalardan yedi küfe dolusu topladilar.

8:8 So they did eat, and were filled: and they took up of the broken food that was left seven baskets.

8:9 Orada yaklasik dört bin kisi vardi. Isa onlari evlerine gönderdikten sonra ögrencileriyle birlikte hemen tekneye binip Dalmanuta bölgesine geçti.

8:9 And they that had eaten were about four thousand: and he sent them away.

8:10 And immediately he entered into a ship with his disciples, and came into the parts of Dalmanutha.

8:11 Ferisiler gelip Isayla tartismaya basladilar. Onu denemek amaciyla gökten bir belirti göstermesini istediler.

8:11 And the Pharisees came forth, and began to question with him, seeking of him a sign from heaven, tempting him.

8:12 Isa içten bir ah çekerek, ‹‹Bu kusak neden bir belirti istiyor?›› dedi. ‹‹Size dogrusunu söyleyeyim, bu kusaga hiçbir belirti gösterilmeyecek.››

8:12 And he sighed deeply in his spirit, (o. pneuma) and says, Why does this generation seek after a sign? verily I say unto you, There shall no sign be given unto this generation.

8:13 And he left them, and entering into the ship again departed to the other side.

8:14 Ögrenciler ekmek almayi unutmuslardi. Teknede, yanlarinda yalniz bir ekmek vardi.

8:14 Now the disciples had forgotten to take bread, neither had they in the ship with them more than one loaf.

8:15 Isa onlara su uyarida bulundu: ‹‹Dikkatli olun, Ferisilerin mayasindan ve Hirodesin mayasindan sakinin!››

8:15 And he charged them, saying, Take heed, beware of the leaven of the Pharisees, and of the leaven of Herod.

8:16 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have no bread.

8:17 Bunun farkinda olan Isa, ‹‹Ekmeginiz yok diye niçin tartisiyorsunuz?›› dedi. ‹‹Hâlâ akil erdiremiyor, anlamiyor musunuz? Zihniniz köreldi mi?

8:17 And when Jesus knew it, he says unto them, Why reason all of you, because all of you have no bread? perceive all of you not yet, neither understand? have all of you your heart yet hardened?

8:18 Gözleriniz oldugu halde görmüyor musunuz? Kulaklariniz oldugu halde isitmiyor musunuz? Hatirlamiyor musunuz, bes ekmegi bes bin kisiye bölüstürdügümde kaç sepet dolusu yemek fazlasi topladiniz?›› ‹‹On iki›› dediler.

8:18 Having eyes, see all of you not? and having ears, hear all of you not? and do all of you not remember?

8:19 When I brake the five loaves among five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took all of you up? They say unto him, Twelve.

8:20 ‹‹Yedi ekmegi dört bin kisiye bölüstürdügümde kaç küfe dolusu yemek fazlasi topladiniz?›› ‹‹Yedi›› dediler.

8:20 And when the seven among four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took all of you up? And they said, Seven.

8:21 Isa onlara, ‹‹Hâlâ anlamiyor musunuz?›› dedi.

8:21 And he said unto them, How is it that all of you do not understand?

8:22 And he comes to Bethsaida; and they bring a blind man unto him, and besought him to touch him.

8:23 Isa körün elinden tutarak onu köyün disina çikardi. Gözlerine tükürüp ellerini üzerine koydu ve, ‹‹Bir sey görüyor musun?›› diye sordu.

8:23 And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.

8:24 Adam basini kaldirip, ‹‹Insanlar görüyorum›› dedi, ‹‹Agaçlara benziyorlar, ama yürüyorlar.››

8:24 And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.

8:25 Sonra Isa ellerini yeniden adamin gözleri üzerine koydu. Adam gözlerini açti, bakti; iyilesmis ve her seyi açik seçik görmeye baslamisti.

8:25 After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.

8:26 Isa, ‹‹Köye bile girme!›› diyerek onu evine gönderdi.

8:26 And he sent him away to his house, saying, Neither go into the town, nor tell it to any in the town.

8:27 Isa, ögrencileriyle birlikte Filipus Sezariyesine bagli köylere gitti. Yolda ögrencilerine, ‹‹Halk benim kim oldugumu söylüyor?›› diye sordu.

8:27 And Jesus went out, and his disciples, into the towns of Caesarea Philippi: and by the way he asked his disciples, saying unto them, Whom do men say that I am?

8:28 Ögrencileri Ona su karsiligi verdiler: ‹‹Vaftizci Yahya diyorlar.

8:28 And they answered, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others, One of the prophets.

Petrus, ‹‹Sen Mesihsin›› yanitini verdi.

8:29 And he says unto them, But whom say all of you that I am? And Peter answers and says unto him, You are the Christ.

8:30 And he charged them that they should tell no man of him.

8:31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.

8:32 Bunlari açikça söylüyordu. Bunun üzerine Petrus Onu bir kenara çekip azarlamaya basladi.

8:32 And he spoke that saying (o. logos) openly. And Peter took him, and began to rebuke him.

8:33 Isa dönüp öteki ögrencilerine bakti; Petrusu azarlayarak, ‹‹Çekil önümden, Seytan!›› dedi. ‹‹Düsüncelerin Tanriya degil, insana özgüdür.››

8:33 But when he had turned about and looked on his disciples, he rebuked Peter, saying, Get you behind me, Satan: for you savour not the things that be of God, but the things that be of men.

8:34 Ögrencileriyle birlikte halki da yanina çagirip söyle konustu: ‹‹Ardimdan gelmek isteyen kendini inkâr etsin, çarmihini yüklenip beni izlesin.

8:34 And when he had called the people unto him with his disciples also, he said unto them, Whosoever will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

8:35 Canini kurtarmak isteyen onu yitirecek, canini benim ve Müjdenin ugruna yitiren ise onu kurtaracaktir.

9:1 Isa, ‹‹Size dogrusunu söyleyeyim›› diye devam etti, ‹‹Burada bulunanlar arasinda, Tanri Egemenliginin güçlü biçimde gerçeklestigini görmeden ölümü tatmayacak olanlar var.››8:35 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it; but whosoever shall lose his life for my sake and the gospel's, the same shall save it.

8:36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

8:37 Insan kendi canina karsilik ne verebilir?

8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

8:38 Whosoever therefore shall be ashamed of me and of my words (o. logos) in this adulterous and sinful generation; of him also shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he comes in the glory of his Father with the holy angels.
