Job

21:1 Eyüp söyle yanitladi:

21:1 But Job answered and said,

21:2 ‹‹Sözümü dikkatle dinleyin,Bana verdiginiz avuntu bu olsun.

21:2 Hear diligently my speech, and let this be your consolations.

21:3 Birakin ben de konusayim,Ben konustuktan sonra alay edin.

21:3 Suffer me that I may speak; and after that I have spoken, mock on.

21:4 ‹‹Yakinmam insana mi karsi?Niçin sabirsizlanmayayim?

21:4 As for me, is my complaint to man? and if it were so, why should not my spirit be troubled?

21:5 Bana bakin da sasin,Elinizi agziniza koyun.

21:5 Mark me, and be astonished, and lay your hand upon your mouth.

21:6 Bunu düsündükçe içimi korku sariyor,Bedenimi titreme aliyor.

21:6 Even when I remember I am afraid, and trembling takes hold on my flesh.

21:7 Kötüler niçin yasiyor,Yaslandikça güçleri artiyor?

21:7 Wherefore do the wicked live, become old, yea, are mighty in power?

21:8 Çocuklari sapasaglam çevrelerinde,Soylari gözlerinin önünde.

21:8 Their seed is established in their sight with them, and their offspring before their eyes.

21:9 Evleri güvenlik içinde, korkudan uzak,Tanrinin sopasi onlara dokunmuyor.

21:9 Their houses are safe from fear, neither is the rod of God upon them.

21:10 Bogalarinin çiftlesmesi hiç bosa çikmaz,Inekleri hep dogurur, hiç düsük yapmaz.

21:10 Their bull genders, and fails not; their cow calves, and casts not her calf.

21:11 Çocuklarini sürü gibi saliverirler,Yavrulari oynasir.

21:11 They send forth their little ones like a flock, and their children dance.

21:12 Tef ve lir esliginde sarki söyler,Ney sesiyle eglenirler.

21:12 They take the timbrel and harp, and rejoice at the sound of the organ.

21:13 Ömürlerini bolluk içinde geçirir,Esenlik içinde ölüler diyarina inerler.

21:13 They spend their days in wealth, and in a moment go down to the grave.

21:14 Tanriya, ‹Bizden uzak dur!› derler,‹Yolunu ögrenmek istemiyoruz.

21:14 Therefore they say unto God, Depart from us; for we desire not the knowledge of your ways.

21:15 Her Seye Gücü Yeten kim ki, Ona kulluk edelim?Ne kazancimiz olur Ona dua etsek?›

21:15 What is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what profit should we have, if we pray unto him?

21:16 Ama zenginlikleri kendi ellerinde degil.Kötülerin ögüdü benden uzak olsun.

21:16 Lo, their good is not in their hand: the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

21:17 ‹‹Kaç kez kötülerin kandili söndü,Baslarina felaket geldi,Tanri öfkelendiginde paylarina düsen kederi verdi?

21:17 How often is the candle of the wicked put out! and how often comes their destruction upon them! God distributes sorrows in his anger.

21:18 Kaç kez rüzgarin sürükledigi saman gibi,Kasirganin uçurdugu saman çöpü gibi oldular?

21:18 They are as stubble before the wind, and as chaff that the storm carries away.

21:19 ‹Tanri babalarin cezasini çocuklarina çektirir› diyorsunuz,Kendilerine çektirsin de bilsinler nasil oldugunu.

21:19 God lays up his iniquity for his children: he rewards him, and he shall know it.

21:20 Yikimlarini kendi gözleriyle görsünler,Her Seye Gücü Yetenin gazabini içsinler.

21:20 His eyes shall see his destruction, and he shall drink of the wrath of the Almighty.

21:21 Çünkü sayili aylari sona erinceGeride biraktiklari aileleri için niye kaygi çeksinler?

21:21 For what pleasure has he in his house after him, when the number of his months is cut off in the midst?

21:22 ‹‹En yüksektekileri bile yargilayan TanriyaKim akil ögretebilir?

21:22 Shall any teach God knowledge? seeing he judges those that are high.

21:23 Biri gücünün dorugunda ölür,Büsbütün rahat ve kaygisiz.

21:23 One dies in his full strength, being wholly at ease and quiet.

21:24 Bedeni iyi beslenmis,Ilikleri dolu.

21:24 His breasts are full of milk, and his bones are moistened with marrow.

21:25 Ötekiyse aci içinde ölür,Iyilik nedir hiç tatmamistir.

21:25 And another dies in the bitterness of his soul, and never eats with pleasure.

21:26 Toprakta birlikte yatarlar,Üzerlerini kurt kaplar.

21:26 They shall lie down alike in the dust, and the worms shall cover them.

21:27 ‹‹Bakin, düsüncelerinizi,Bana zarar vermek için kurdugunuz düzenleri biliyorum.

21:27 Behold, I know your thoughts, and the devices which all of you wrongfully imagine against me.

21:28 ‹Büyük adamin evi nerede?› diyorsunuz,‹Kötülerin çadirlari nerede?›

21:28 For all of you say, Where is the house of the prince? and where are the dwelling places of the wicked?

21:29 Yolculara hiç sormadiniz mi?Anlattiklarina kulak asmadiniz mi?

21:29 Have all of you not asked them that go by the way? and do all of you not know their tokens,

21:30 Felaket günü kötü insan esirgenir,Gazap günü ona kurtulus yolu gösterilir.

21:30 That the wicked is reserved to the day of destruction? they shall be brought forth to the day of wrath.

21:31 Kim davranisini onun yüzüne vurur?Kim yaptiginin karsiligini ona ödetir?

21:31 Who shall declare his way to his face? and who shall repay him what he has done?

21:32 Mezarliga tasinir,Kabri basinda nöbet tutulur.

21:32 Yet shall he be brought to the grave, and shall remain in the tomb.

21:33 Vadi topragi tatli gelir ona,Herkes ardindan gider,Önüsira gidenlerse sayisizdir.

21:33 The clods of the valley shall be sweet unto him, and every man shall draw after him, as there are innumerable before him.

21:34 ‹‹Bos laflarla beni nasil avutursunuz?Yanitlarinizdan çikan tek sonuç yalandir.››

21:34 How then comfort all of you me in vain, seeing in your answers there remains falsehood?

 Job

22:1 Temanli Elifaz söyle yanitladi:

22:1 Then Eliphaz the Temanite answered and said,

22:2 ‹‹Insan Tanriya yararli olabilir mi?Bilge kisinin bile Ona yarari dokunabilir mi?

22:2 Can a man be profitable unto God, as he that is wise may be profitable unto himself?

22:3 Dogrulugun Her Seye Gücü Yetene ne zevk verebilir,Kusursuz yasamin Ona ne kazanç saglayabilir?

22:3 Is it any pleasure to the Almighty, that you are righteous? or is it gain to him, that you make your ways perfect?

22:4 Seni azarlamasi, dava etmesiOndan korktugun için mi?

22:4 Will he reprove you for fear of you? will he enter with you into judgment?

22:5 Kötülügün büyük,Günahlarin sonsuz degil mi?

22:5 Is not your wickedness great? and yours iniquities infinite?

22:6 Çünkü kardeslerinden nedensiz rehin aliyor,Onlari soyuyordun.

22:6 For you have taken a pledge from your brother for nothing, and stripped the naked of their clothing.

22:7 Yorguna su içirmedin,Açtan ekmegi esirgedin;

22:7 You have not given water to the weary to drink, and you have withheld bread from the hungry.

22:8 Ülkeye bileginle sahip oldun,Saygin biri olarak orada yasadin.

22:8 But as for the mighty man, he had the earth; and the honourable man dwelt in it.

22:9 Dul kadinlari eli bos çevirdin,Öksüzlerin kolunu kanadini kirdin.

22:9 You have sent widows away empty, and the arms of the fatherless have been broken.

22:10 Bu yüzden her yanin tuzaklarla çevrili,Ansizin gelen korkuyla yiliyorsun,

22:10 Therefore snares are round about you, and sudden fear troubles you;

22:11 Her sey karariyor, göremez oluyorsun,Seller altina aliyor seni.

22:11 Or darkness, that you can not see; and abundance of waters cover you.

22:12 ‹‹Tanri göklerin yükseklerinde degil mi?Yildizlara bak, ne kadar yüksekteler!

22:12 Is not God in the height of heaven? and behold the height of the stars, how high they are!

22:13 Sen ise, ‹Tanri ne bilir?› diyorsun,‹Zifiri karanligin içinden yargilayabilir mi?

22:13 And you says, How does God know? can he judge through the dark cloud?

22:14 Koyu bulutlar Ona engeldir, göremez,Gökkubbenin üzerinde dolasir.›

22:14 Thick clouds are a covering to him, that he sees not; and he walks in the circuit of heaven.

22:15 Kötülerin yürüdügüEski yolu mu tutacaksin?

22:15 Have you marked the old way which wicked men have trodden?

22:16 Onlar ki, vakitleri gelmeden çekilip alindilar,Temellerini sel basti.

22:16 Which were cut down out of time, whose foundation was overflowed with a flood:

22:17 Tanriya, ‹Bizden uzak dur!› dediler,‹Her Seye Gücü Yeten bize ne yapabilir?›

22:17 Which said unto God, Depart from us: and what can the Almighty do for them?

22:18 Ama onlarin evlerini iyilikle dolduran Oydu.Bunun için kötülerin ögüdü benden uzak olsun.

22:18 Yet he filled their houses with good things: but the counsel of the wicked is far from me.

22:19 ‹‹Dogrular onlarin yikimini görüp sevinir,Suçsuzlar söyle diyerek eglenir:

22:19 The righteous see it, and are glad: and the innocent laugh them to scorn.

22:20 ‹Düsmanlarimiz yok edildi,Mallari yanip kül oldu.›

22:20 Whereas our substance is not cut down, but the remnant of them the fire consumes.

22:21 ‹‹Tanriyla dost ol, baris ki,Bolluga eresin.

22:21 Acquaint now yourself with him, and be at peace: thereby good shall come unto you.

22:22 Agzindan çikan ögretiyi benimse,Sözlerini yüreginde tut.

22:22 Receive, I pray you, the law from his mouth, and lay up his words in yours heart.

22:23 Her Seye Gücü Yetene dönersen, eski haline kavusursun.Kötülügü çadirindan uzak tutar,

22:23 If you return to the Almighty, you shall be built up, you shall put away iniquity far from your tabernacles.

22:24 Altinini yere,Ofir altinini vadideki çakillarin arasina atarsan,

22:24 Then shall you lay up gold as dust, and the gold of Ophir as the stones of the brooks.

22:25 Her Seye Gücü Yeten senin altinin,Degerli gümüsün olur.

22:25 Yea, the Almighty shall be your defence, and you shall have plenty of silver.

22:26 O zaman Her Seye Gücü Yetenden zevk alir,Yüzünü Tanriya kaldirirsin.

22:26 For then shall you have your delight in the Almighty, and shall lift up your face unto God.

22:27 Ona dua edersin, dinler seni,Adaklarini yerine getirirsin.

22:27 You shall make your prayer unto him, and he shall hear you, and you shall pay your vows.

22:28 Neye karar verirsen yapilir,Yollarini isik aydinlatir.

22:28 You shall also decree a thing, and it shall be established unto you: and the light shall shine upon your ways.

22:29 Insanlar seni alçaltinca, güvenini yitirme,Çünkü Tanri alçakgönüllüleri kurtarir.

22:29 When men are cast down, then you shall say, There is lifting up; and he shall save the humble person.

22:30 O suçsuz olmayani bile kurtarir,Senin ellerinin temizligi sayesinde kurtulur suçlu.››

22:30 He shall deliver the island of the innocent: and it is delivered by the pureness of yours hands.

 Job

23:1 Eyüp söyle yanitladi:

23:1 Then Job answered and said,

23:2 ‹‹Bugün de aci aci yakinacagim,Iniltime karsin Tanrinin üzerimdeki eli agirdir.

23:2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

23:3 Keske Onu nerede bulacagimi bilseydim,Tahtina varabilseydim!

23:3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!

23:4 Davami önünde dile getirir,Kanitlarimi art arda siralardim.

23:4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.

23:5 Bana verecegi yaniti ögrenir,Ne diyecegini anlardim.

23:5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.

23:6 Essiz gücüyle bana karsi mi çikardi?Hayir, yalnizca dinlerdi beni.

23:6 Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.

23:7 Hakli kisi davasini oraya, Onun önüne getirebilirdi,Ben de yargilanmaktan sonsuza dek kurtulurdum.

23:7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

23:8 ‹‹Doguya gitsem orada degil,Batiya gitsem Onu bulamiyorum.

23:8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:

23:9 Kuzeyde is görse Onu seçemiyorum,Güneye dönse Onu göremiyorum.

23:9 On the left hand, where he does work, but I cannot behold him: he hides himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:

23:10 Ama O tuttugum yolu biliyor,Beni sinadiginda altin gibi çikacagim.

23:10 But he knows the way that I take: when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

23:11 Adimlarini yakindan izledim,Sapmadan yolunu tuttum.

23:11 My foot has held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.

23:12 Agzindan çikan buyruklardan ayrilmadim,Günlük ekmegimden çok agzindan çikan sözlere deger verdim.

23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

23:13 ‹‹O tek basinadir, kim Onu caydirabilir?Cani ne isterse onu yapar.

23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desires, even that he does.

23:14 Benimle ilgili kararini yerine getirir,Daha nice tasarisi vardir.

23:14 For he performs the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.

23:15 Bu yüzden dehsete düserim huzurunda,Düsündükçe korkarim Ondan.

23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.

23:16 Tanri cesaretimi kirdi,Her Seye Gücü Yeten beni yildirdi.

23:16 For God makes my heart soft, and the Almighty troubles me:

23:17 Karanlik beni susturamadi,Yüzümü örten koyu karanlik.

23:17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither has he covered the darkness from my face.

 Job

24:1 ‹‹Niçin Her Seye Gücü Yeten yargi için vakit saptamiyor?Neden Onu taniyanlar bu günleri görmesin?

24:1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

24:2 Insanlar sinir taslarini kaldiriyor,Çaldiklari sürüleri otlatiyorlar.

24:2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.

24:3 Öksüzlerin esegini kovuyor,Dul kadinin öküzünü rehin aliyorlar.

24:3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.

24:4 Yoksullari yoldan saptiriyor,Ülkenin düskünlerini gizlenmeye zorluyorlar.

24:4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.

24:5 Bakin, yoksullar çöldeki yaban esekleri gibiYiyecek bulmak için erkenden ise çikiyorlar,Çocuklarina yiyecegi kirlar sagliyor.

24:5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising early for a prey: the wilderness yields food for them and for their children.

24:6 Yemlerini tarlalardan topluyor,Kötülerin bagindaki artiklari eseliyorlar.

24:6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.

24:7 Geceyi giysisiz, çiplak geçiriyorlar,Örtünecek seyleri yok sogukta.

24:7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.

24:8 Daglara yagan saganaktan islaniyor,Siginaklari olmadigi için kayalara sariliyorlar.

24:8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.

24:9 Öksüz memeden uzaklastiriliyor,Düskünün bebegi rehin aliniyor.

24:9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.

24:10 Giysisiz, çiplak dolasiyor,Aç karnina demet tasiyorlar.

24:10 They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;

24:11 Teraslar arasinda zeytin eziyor,Susuzluktan kavrulurkenSarap için üzüm sikiyorlar.

24:11 Which make oil within their walls, and tread their winepresses, and suffer thirst.

24:12 Kentlerden insan iniltileri yükseliyor,Yarali canlar feryat ediyor,Ama Tanri haksizligi önemsemiyor.

24:12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded cries out: yet God lays not folly to them.

24:13 ‹‹Bunlar isiga baskaldiranlardir;Onun yolunu tanimaz,Izinde yürümezler.

24:13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

24:14 Gün kararinca katil kalkar,Düskünü, yoksulu öldürür,Hirsiz gibi sivisir geceleyin.

24:14 The murderer rising with the light kills the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

24:15 Zina edenin gözü alaca karanliktadir,‹Beni kimse görmez› diye düsünür,Yüzünü örtüyle gizler.

24:15 The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguises his face.

24:16 Hirsizlar karanlikta evleri deler,Gündüz gizlenir, isik nedir bilmezler.

24:16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.

24:17 Çünkü zifiri karanlik, sabahidir onlarin,Karanligin dehsetiyle dostturlar.

24:17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

24:18 ‹‹Diyorsunuz ki, ‹Suyun üstündeki köpüktür onlar,Lanetlidir ülkedeki paylari,Kimse baglara gitmez.

24:18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholds not the way of the vineyards.

24:19 Kuraklik ve sicagin eriyen kari alip götürdügü gibiÖlüler diyari da günahlilari alip götürür.

24:19 Drought and heat consume the snow waters: so does the grave those which have sinned.

24:20 Rahim onlari unutacak,Kurtlara yem olacak,Bir daha anilmayacaklar.Haksizlik bir agaç gibi kirilacak.

24:20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.

24:21 Onlar çocugu olmayan kisir kadinlari yolar,Dul kadina iyilik etmezler.

24:21 He evil entreats the barren that bears not: and does not good to the widow.

24:22 Tanri, gücüyle zorbalari yok eder,Harekete geçince zorbalarin yasama umudu kalmaz.

24:22 He draws also the mighty with his power: he rises up, and no man is sure of life.

24:23 Tanri onlara güven verir, Ona güvenirler,Ama gözü yürüdükleri yoldadir.

24:23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he rests; yet his eyes are upon their ways.

24:24 Kisa süre yükselir, sonra yok olurlar,Düserler, tipki ötekiler gibi alinip götürülür,Basak basi gibi kesilirler.›

24:24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.

24:25 ‹‹Böyle degilse, kim beni yalanci çikarabilir,Söylediklerimin bos oldugunu gösterebilir?››

24:25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?

 Job

25:1 Suahli Bildat söyle yanitladi:

25:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

25:2 ‹‹Egemenlik ve heybet Tanriya özgüdür,Yüce göklerde düzen kuran Odur.

25:2 Dominion and fear are with him, he makes peace in his high places.

25:3 Ordulari sayilabilir mi?Isigi kimin üzerine dogmaz?

25:3 Is there any number of his armies? and upon whom does not his light arise?

25:4 Insan Tanrinin önünde nasil dogru olabilir?Kadindan dogan biri nasil temiz olabilir?

25:4 How then can man be justified with God? or how can he be clean that is born of a woman?

25:5 Onun gözünde ay parlak,Yildizlar temiz degilse,

25:5 Behold even to the moon, and it shines not; yea, the stars are not pure in his sight.

25:6 Nerede kaldi bir kurtçuk olan insan,Bir böcek olan insanoglu!››

25:6 How much less man, that is a worm? and the son of man, which is a worm?

26:3 How have you counselled him that has no wisdom? and how have you plentifully declared the thing as it is?

26:4 Bu sözleri kime söyledin?Senin agzindan konusan ruh kimin?

26:4 To whom have you uttered words? and whose spirit came from you?

26:5 ‹‹Sularin ve sularda yasayanlarin altindaÖlüler titriyor.

26:6 Hell is naked before him, and destruction has no covering.

26:7 O boslugun üzerine kuzey göklerini yayar,Hiçligin üzerine dünyayi asar.

26:7 He stretches out the north over the empty place, and hangs the earth upon nothing.

26:8 Bulutlarin içine sulari sarar,Bulutlar yirtilmaz onlarin agirligi altinda.

26:8 He binds up the waters in his thick clouds; and the cloud is not rent under them.

26:9 Dolunayin yüzünü örter,Üstüne bulutlarini serper.

26:9 He holds back the face of his throne, and spreads his cloud upon it.

26:10 Sularin yüzeyine sinir çizerIsikla karanligin ayrildigi yerde.

26:10 He has compassed the waters with bounds, until the day and night come to an end.

26:11 Göklerin direkleri sarsilir,Saskina dönerler O azarlayinca.

26:11 The pillars of heaven tremble and are astonished at his reproof.

26:12 Gücüyle denizi çalkalar,Ustaca Rahavi vurur. güçlerini simgeleyen bir deniz canavari.

26:12 He divides the sea with his power, and by his understanding he strikes through the proud.

26:13 Gökler Onun soluguyla açilir,Onun eli parçalar kaçan yilani.

26:13 By his spirit he has garnished the heavens; his hand has formed the crooked serpent.

26:14 Lo, these are parts of his ways: but how little a portion is heard of him? but the thunder of his power who can understand?

 Job

27:1 Eyüp anlatmaya devam etti:

27:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

27:2 ‹‹Hakkimi elimden alan Tanrinin varligi hakki için,Bana aci çektiren Her Seye Gücü Yetenin hakki için,

27:2 As God lives, who has taken away my judgment; and the Almighty, who has vexed my soul;

27:3 Içimde yasam belirtisi oldugu sürece,Tanrinin solugu burnumda oldugu sürece,

27:3 All the while my breath is in me, and the spirit of God is in my nostrils;

27:4 Agzimdan kötü söz çikmayacak,Dilimden yalan dökülmeyecek.

27:4 My lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.

27:5 Size asla hak vermeyecek,Son solugumu verene dek suçsuz oldugumu söyleyecegim.

27:5 God forbid that I should justify you: till I die I will not remove mine integrity from me.

27:6 Dogruluguma sarilacak, onu birakmayacagim,Yasadigim sürece vicdanim beni suçlamayacak.

27:6 My righteousness I hold fast, and will not let it go: my heart shall not reproach me so long as I live.

27:7 ‹‹Düsmanlarim kötüler gibi,Bana saldiranlar haksizlar gibi cezalandirilsin.

27:7 Let mine enemy be as the wicked, and he that rises up against me as the unrighteous.

27:8 Tanrisiz insanin umudu nedirTanri onu yok ettiginde, canini aldiginda?

27:8 For what is the hope of the hypocrite, though he has gained, when God takes away his soul?

27:9 Basina sikinti geldiginde,Tanri feryadini duyar mi?

27:9 Will God hear his cry when trouble comes upon him?

27:10 Her Seye Gücü Yetenden zevk alir mi?Her zaman Tanriya yakarir mi?

27:10 Will he delight himself in the Almighty? will he always call upon God?

27:11 ‹‹Tanrinin gücünü size ögretecegim,Her Seye Gücü Yetenin tasarisini gizlemeyecegim.

27:11 I will teach you by the hand of God: that which is with the Almighty will I not conceal.

27:12 Aslinda siz, hepiniz gördünüz bunu,Öyleyse ne diye bos bos konusuyorsunuz?

27:12 Behold, all you yourselves have seen it; why then are all of you thus altogether vain?

27:13 ‹‹Kötünün Tanridan alacagi pay,Zorbanin Her Seye Gücü Yetenden alacagi miras sudur:

27:13 This is the portion of a wicked man with God, and the heritage of oppressors, which they shall receive of the Almighty.

27:14 Çocuklari ne kadar çok olursa olsun, kiliçla öldürülecek,Soyu yeterince ekmek bulamayacaktir.

27:14 If his children be multiplied, it is for the sword: and his offspring shall not be satisfied with bread.

27:15 Sag kalanlar hastaliktan ölüp gömülecek,Dul karilari aglamayacaktir.

27:15 Those that remain of him shall be buried in death: and his widows shall not weep.

27:16 Kötü insan kum gibi gümüs yigsa,Yiginla giysi biriktirse,

27:16 Though he heap up silver as the dust, and prepare raiment as the clay;

27:17 Onun biriktirdigini dogru insan giyecek,Gümüsü suçsuz paylasacak.

27:17 He may prepare it, but the just shall put it on, and the innocent shall divide the silver.

27:18 Evini güve kozasi gibi insa eder,Bekçinin kurdugu çardak gibi.

27:18 He builds his house as a moth, and as a booth that the keeper makes.

27:19 Zengin olarak yatar, ama bu öyle sürmez,Gözlerini açtiginda hepsi yok olup gitmistir.

27:19 The rich man shall lie down, but he shall not be gathered: he opens his eyes, and he is not.

27:20 Dehset onu sel gibi basar,Kasirga gece kapar götürür.

27:20 Terrors take hold on him as waters, a tempest steals him away in the night.

27:21 Dogu rüzgari onu uçurup götürür,Yerinden silip süpürür.

27:21 The east wind carries him away, and he departs: and as a storm hurls him out of his place.

27:22 Acimasizca üzerine eser,Elinden kaçmaya çalisirken.

27:22 For God shall cast upon him, and not spare: he would fain flee out of his hand.

27:23 Onunla alay ederek el çirpar,Yerinden islik çalar.›› sözleridir.

27:23 Men shall clap their hands at him, and shall hiss him out of his place.

 Job

28:1 Gümüs maden ocagindan elde edilir,Altini aritmak için de bir yer vardir.

28:1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

28:2 Demir topraktan çikarilir,Bakirsa tastan.

28:2 Iron is taken out of the earth, and brass is molten out of the stone.

28:3 Insan karanliga son verir,Koyu karanligin, ölüm gölgesinin taslariniSon sinirina kadar arastirir.

28:3 He sets an end to darkness, and searches out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

28:4 Maden kuyusunu insanlarin oturdugu yerden uzakta açar,Insan ayaginin unuttugu yerlerde,Herkesten uzak iplere sarilip sallanir.

28:4 The flood breaks out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.

28:5 Ekmek topraktan çikar,Topragin alti ise yanmis, altüst olmustur.

28:5 As for the earth, out of it comes bread: and under it is turned up as it were fire.

28:6 Kayalarindan laciverttasi çikar,Yüzeyi altin tozunu andirir.

28:6 The stones of it are the place of sapphires: and it has dust of gold.

28:7 Yirtici kus yolu bilmez,Doganin gözü onu görmemistir.

28:7 There is a path which no fowl knows, and which the vulture's eye has not seen:

28:8 Güçlü hayvanlar oraya ayak basmamis,Aslan oradan geçmemistir.

28:8 The lion's whelps have not trodden it, nor the fierce lion passed by it.

28:9 Madenci elini çakmak tasina uzatir,Daglari kökünden altüst eder.

28:9 He puts forth his hand upon the rock; he overturns the mountains by the roots.

28:10 Kayalarin içinden tüneller açar,Gözleri degerli ne varsa görür.

28:10 He cuts out rivers among the rocks; and his eye sees every precious thing.

28:11 Irmaklarin kaynagini tikar,Gizli olani isiga çikarir.

28:11 He binds the floods from overflowing; and the thing that is hid brings he forth to light.

28:12 Ama bilgelik nerede bulunur?Aklin yeri neresi?

28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

28:13 Insan onun degerini bilmez,Yasayanlar diyarinda ona rastlanmaz.

28:13 Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

28:14 Engin, ‹‹Bende degil›› der,Deniz, ‹‹Yanimda degil.››

28:14 The depth says, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.

28:15 Onun bedeli saf altinla ödenmez,Degeri gümüsle ölçülmez.

28:15 It cannot be got for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

28:16 Ona Ofir altiniyla, degerli oniksle,Laciverttasiyla deger biçilmez.

28:16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

28:17 Ne altin ne cam onunla karsilastirilabilir,Saf altin kaplara degisilmez.

28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

28:18 Yaninda mercanla billurun sözü edilmez,Bilgeligin degeri mücevherden üstündür.

28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

28:19 Kûs topazi onunla denk sayilmaz,Saf altinla ona deger biçilmez.

28:19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

28:20 Öyleyse bilgelik nereden geliyor?Aklin yeri neresi?

28:20 Whence then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

28:21 O bütün canlilarin gözünden uzaktir,Gökte uçan kuslardan bile saklidir.

28:21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

28:22 Yikimla Ölüm:‹‹Kulaklarimiz ancak fisiltisini duydu›› der.

28:22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

28:23 Onun yolunu Tanri anlar,Yerini bilen Odur.

28:23 God understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof.

28:24 Çünkü O yeryüzünün uçlarina kadar bakar,Göklerin altindaki her seyi görür.

28:24 For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven;

28:25 Rüzgara güç verdigi,Sulari ölçtügü,

28:25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weights the waters by measure.

28:26 Yagmura kural koydugu,Yildirima yol açtigi zaman,

28:26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

28:27 Bilgeligi görüp degerini biçti,Onu onaylayip arastirdi.

28:27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

28:28 Insana, ‹‹Iste Rab korkusu, bilgelik budur›› dedi,‹‹Kötülükten kaçinmak akilliliktir.››

28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

 Job

29:1 Eyüp yine anlatmaya basladi:

29:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

29:2 ‹‹Keske geçen aylar geri gelseydi,Tanrinin beni kolladigi,

29:2 Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;

29:3 Kandilinin basimin üstünde parladigi,Isigiyla karanlikta yürüdügüm günler,

29:3 When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;

29:4 Keske olgunluk günlerim geri gelseydi,Tanrinin çadirimi dostça korudugu,

29:4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;

29:5 Her Seye Gücü Yetenin henüz benimle oldugu,Çocuklarimin çevremde bulundugu,

29:5 When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;

29:6 Yollarimin sütle yikandigi,Yanimdaki kayanin zeytinyagi akittigi günler!

29:6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

29:7 ‹‹Kent kapisina gidipKürsümü meydana koydugumda,

29:7 When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

29:8 Gençler beni görüp gizlenir,Yaslilar kalkip ayakta dururlardi;

29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.

29:9 Önderler konusmaktan çekinir,Elleriyle agizlarini kaparlardi;

29:9 The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.

29:10 Soylularin sesi kesilir,Dilleri damaklarina yapisirdi.

29:10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.

29:11 Beni duyan kutlar,Beni gören överdi;

29:11 When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:

29:12 Çünkü yardim isteyen yoksulu,Destegi olmayan öksüzü kurtarirdim.

29:12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

29:13 Ölmekte olanin hayir duasini alir,Dul kadinin yüregini sevinçten costururdum.

29:13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

29:14 Dogrulugu giysi gibi giyindim,Adalet kaftanim ve sarigimdi sanki.

29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.

29:15 Körlere göz,Topallara ayaktim.

29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.

29:16 Yoksullara babalik eder,Garibin davasini üstlenirdim.

29:16 I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.

29:17 Haksizin çenesini kirar,Avini dislerinin arasindan kapardim.

29:17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

29:18 ‹‹ ‹Son solugumu yuvamda verecegim› diye düsünüyordum,‹Günlerim kum taneleri kadar çok.

29:18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.

29:19 Köküm sulara erisecek,Çiy geceyi dallarimda geçirecek.

29:19 My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

29:20 Aldigim övgüler tazelenecek,Elimdeki yay yenilenecek.›

29:20 My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.

29:21 ‹‹Insanlar beni saygiyla dinler,Ögüdümü sessizce beklerlerdi.

29:21 Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

29:22 Ben konustuktan sonra onlar konusmazdi,Sözlerim üzerlerine damlardi.

29:22 After my words they spoke not again; and my speech dropped upon them.

29:23 Yagmuru beklercesine beni bekler,Son yagmurlari içercesine sözlerimi içerlerdi.

29:23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.

29:24 Kendilerine gülümsedigimde gözlerine inanmazlardi,Güler yüzlülügüm onlara cesaret verirdi.

29:24 If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.

29:25 Onlarin yolunu ben seçer, baslarinda dururdum,Askerlerinin ortasinda kral gibi otururdum,Yaslilari avutan biri gibiydim.

29:25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforts the mourners.

 Job

30:1 ‹‹Ama simdi, yasi benden küçük olanlarBenimle alay etmekte,Oysa babalarini sürümün köpeklerininYanina koymaya tenezzül etmezdim.

30:1 But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

30:2 Çünkü güçleri tükenmisti,Bileklerinin gücü ne isime yarardi?

30:2 Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

30:3 Yoksulluktan, açliktan bitkindiler,Aksam çölde, issiz çorak yerlerde kök kemiriyorlardi.

30:3 For lack and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

30:4 Çaliliklarda karapazi topluyor,Retem kökü yiyorlardi.

30:4 Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their food.

30:5 Toplumdan kovuluyorlardi,Insanlar hirsizmislar gibi onlara bagiriyordu.

30:5 They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)

30:6 Korkunç vadilerde, yerdeki deliklerde,Kaya kovuklarinda yasiyorlardi.

30:6 To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

30:7 Çalilarin arasinda anirir,Çali altinda birbirine sokulurlardi.

30:7 Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.

30:8 Aptallarin, adi sani belirsiz insanlarin çocuklariydilar,Ülkeden kovulmuslardi.

30:8 They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

30:9 ‹‹Simdiyse destan oldum dillerine,Agizlarina doladilar beni.

30:9 And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

30:10 Benden tiksiniyor, uzak duruyorlar,Yüzüme tükürmekten çekinmiyorlar.

30:10 They detest me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

30:11 Tanri ipimi çözüp beni alçalttigi içinDizginsiz davranmaya basladilar bana.

30:11 Because he has loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.

30:12 Sagimdaki ayak takimi üzerime yürüyor,Ayaklarimi kaydiriyor,Bana karsi rampalar kuruyorlar.

30:12 Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

30:13 Yolumu kesiyor,Kimseden yardim görmedenBeni yok etmeye çalisiyorlar.

30:13 They ruin my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.

30:14 Koca bir gedikten girer gibi ilerliyor,Yikintilar arasindan üzerime yuvarlaniyorlar.

30:14 They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.

30:15 Dehset çöktü üzerime,Onurum rüzgara kapilmis gibi uçtu,Mutlulugum bulut gibi geçip gitti.

30:15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passes away as a cloud.

30:16 ‹‹Simdi tükeniyorum,Aci günler beni ele geçirdi.

30:16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

30:17 Geceleri kemiklerim sizliyor,Beni kemiren acilar hiç durmuyor.

30:17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

30:18 Tanrinin siddetiÜzerimdeki giysiye dönüstü,Gömlegimin yakasi gibi beni sikiyor.

30:18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it binds me about as the collar of my coat.

30:19 Beni çamura firlatti,Toza, küle döndüm.

30:19 He has cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.

30:20 ‹‹Sana yakariyorum, ama yanit vermiyorsun,Ayaga kalktigimda gözünü bana dikiyorsun.

30:20 I cry unto you, and you do not hear me: I stand up, and you regard me not.

30:21 Bana acimasiz davraniyor,Bileginin gücüyle beni eziyorsun.

30:21 You are become cruel to me: with your strong hand you oppose yourself against me.

30:22 Beni kaldirip rüzgara bindiriyorsun,Firtinanin içinde darma duman ediyorsun.

30:22 You lift me up to the wind; you cause me to ride upon it, and dissolve my substance.

30:23 Biliyorum, beni ölüme,Bütün canlilarin toplanacagi yere götüreceksin.

30:23 For I know that you will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

30:24 ‹‹Kuskusuz düsenin dostu olmaz,Felakete ugrayip yardim istediginde.

30:24 Nevertheless he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.

30:25 Sikintiya düsenler için aglamaz miydim?Yoksullar için üzülmez miydim?

30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?

30:26 Ama ben iyilik beklerken kötülük geldi,Isik umarken karanlik geldi.

30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

30:27 Içim kayniyor, rahatim yok,Önümde aci günler var.

30:27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

30:28 Yasli yasli dolasiyorum, günes yok,Topluluk içinde kalkip feryat ediyorum.

30:28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.

30:29 Çakallarla kardes,Baykuslarla arkadas oldum.

30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

30:30 Derim karardi, soyuluyor,Kemiklerim atesten yaniyor.

30:30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

30:31 Lirimin sesi yas feryadina,Neyimin sesi aglayanlarin sesine döndü.

30:31 My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

 Job

31:1 ‹‹Gözlerimle antlasma yaptimSehvetle bir kiza bakmamak için.

31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

31:2 Çünkü insanin yukaridan, Tanridan payi nedir,Yücelerden, Her Seye Gücü Yetenden mirasi ne?

31:2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?

31:3 Kötüler için felaket,Haksizlik yapanlar için bela degil mi?

31:3 Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?

31:4 Yürüdügüm yollari görmüyor mu,Attigim her adimi saymiyor mu?

31:4 Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

31:5 ‹‹Eger yalan yolunda yürüdümse,Ayagim hileye segirttiyse,

31:5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hasted to deceit;

31:6 -Tanri beni dogru teraziyle tartsin,Kusursuz oldugumu görsün-

31:6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.

31:7 Adimim yoldan saptiysa,Yüregim gözümü izlediyse,Ellerim pislige bulastiysa,

31:7 If my step has turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot has cleaved to mine hands;

31:8 Ektigimi baskalari yesin,Ekinlerim kökünden sökülsün.

31:8 Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

31:9 ‹‹Eger gönlümü bir kadina kaptirdiysam,Komsumun kapisinda pusuya yattiysam,

31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;

31:10 Karim baskasinin bugdayini ögütsün,Onunla baska erkekler yatsin.

31:10 Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.

31:11 Çünkü bu utanç verici,Yargilanmasi gereken bir suç olurdu.

31:11 For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.

31:12 Yikim diyarina dek yakan bir atestir o,Bütün ürünümü kökünden kavururdu.

31:12 For it is a fire that consumes to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

31:13 ‹‹Benimle ters düstüklerindeKölemin ve hizmetçimin hakkini yemissem,

31:14 What then shall I do when God rises up? and when he visits, what shall I answer him?

31:15 Beni ana karninda yaratan onu da yaratmadi mi?Rahimde bize biçim veren O degil mi?

31:17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless has not eaten thereof;

31:18 Gençligimden beri öksüzü baba gibi büyütmedimse,Dogdugumdan beri dul kadina yol göstermedimse,

31:21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:

31:22 Kolum omuzumdan düssün,Kol kemigim kirilsin.

31:22 Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

31:23 Çünkü Tanridan gelecek beladan korkarim,Onun görkeminden ötürü böyle bir sey yapamam.

31:23 For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

31:24 ‹‹Eger umudumu altina bagladimsa,Saf altina, ‹Güvencim sensin› dedimse,

31:27 And my heart has been secretly enticed, or my mouth has kissed my hand:

31:28 Bu da yargilanacak bir suç olurdu,Çünkü yücelerdeki Tanriyi yadsimis olurdum.

31:36 Kuskusuz onu omuzumda tasir,Taç gibi basima koyardim.

31:36 Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.

31:37 Attigim her adimi ona bildirir,Kendisine bir önder gibi yaklasirdim.-

31:37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.

31:38 ‹‹Topragim bana feryat ediyorsa,Sabanin açtigi yariklar bir agizdan agliyorsa,

31:39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

31:40 Orada bugday yerine diken,Arpa yerine delice bitsin.›› Eyüp'ün konusmasi sona erdi.

31:40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

 Job

32:1 Böylece bu üç kisi Eyüpe yanit vermekten vaz geçti, çünkü Eyüp kendi dogrulugundan emindi.

32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

32:2 Ram ailesinden Bûzlu Barakel oglu Elihu Eyüpe çok öfkelendi. Çünkü Eyüp kendini Tanridan hakli görüyordu.

32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

32:3 Elihu Eyüpün üç arkadasina da öfkelendi, çünkü Eyüpü suçlamalarina karsin saglam bir yanit bulamamislardi.

32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

32:4 Elihu Eyüple konusmak için sirasini beklemisti, çünkü ötekiler yasça kendisinden büyüktü.

32:4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

32:5 Bu üç kisinin baska bir sey söyleyemeyecegini görünce öfkesi alevlendi. ‹‹Tanriyi››.

32:5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

32:6 Bûzlu Barakel oglu Elihu söyle konustu: ‹‹Ben yasça küçügüm, sizse yaslisiniz.Bu yüzden çekindim, bildigimi söylemekten korktum.

32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and all of you are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you mine opinion.

32:7 ‹Çok gün görenler konussun› dedim,‹Çok yil yasayanlar bilgeligi ögretsin.›

32:7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

32:8 Oysa insana ruh,Her Seye Gücü Yetenin solugu akil verir.

32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.

32:9 Akil yasta degil bastadir.Adaleti anlamak yasa bakmaz.

32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

32:10 ‹‹Bu yüzden, ‹Beni dinleyin› diyorum,Ben de bildigimi söyleyeyim.

32:10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.

32:11 Siz konusurken ben bekledim,Siz ne diyeceginizi arastirirkenDüsüncelerinizi dinledim.

32:11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst all of you searched out what to say.

32:12 Bütün dikkatimi size çevirdim.Ama hiçbiriniz Eyüpün haksizligini kanitlayamadi,Onun söylediklerine karsilik veremedi.

32:12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

32:13 ‹Biz bilgelige eristik,Birakin Tanri onu haksiz çikarsin, insan degil› demeyin.

32:13 Lest all of you should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusts him down, not man.

32:14 Ama Eyüpün sözlerinin hedefi ben degildim,Bu yüzden onu sizin sözlerinizle yanitlamayacagim.

32:14 Now he has not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

32:15 ‹‹Onlar yildi, yanit veremiyorlar artik,Söyleyecek seyleri kalmadi.

32:15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

32:16 Onlar konusmuyor diye ben beklemeli miyim,Duruyor, yanit vermiyorlar diye?

32:16 When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

32:17 Benim de söyleyecek sözüm var,Ben de bildigimi söyleyecegim.

32:17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will show mine opinion.

32:18 Çünkü içim dolu,Içimdeki ruh beni zorluyor.

32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constrains me.

32:19 Içim açilmamis sarap gibi,Yeni sarap tulumlari gibi patlamak üzere.

32:19 Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

32:20 Konusup rahatlamaliyim,Agzimi açip yanitlamaliyim.

32:20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

32:21 Kimseye ayricalik göstermeyecek,Kimseye yaltaklanmayacagim.

32:21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

32:22 Çünkü yaltaklanmayi bilsem,Yaraticim beni hemen yok ederdi.

32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

 Job

33:1 ‹‹Ama simdi lütfen sözümü dinle, Eyüp,Söyleyecegim her seye kulak ver.

33:1 Wherefore, Job, I pray you, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

33:2 Agzimi açtim açacagim,Söyleyeceklerim dilimin ucunda.

33:2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue has spoken in my mouth.

33:3 Sözlerim temiz bir yürekten çikiyor,Dudaklarim bildiklerini içtenlikle söylüyor.

33:3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

33:4 Beni Tanrinin Ruhu yaratti,Her Seye Gücü Yetenin solugu yasam veriyor bana.

33:4 The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.

33:5 Elinden gelirse beni yanitla,Kendini hazirla, karsimda dur.

33:5 If you can answer me, set your words in order before me, stand up.

33:6 Tanrinin önünde ben de tipki senin gibiyim,Ben de balçiktan yaratildim.

33:6 Behold, I am according to your wish in God's position: I also am formed out of the clay.

33:7 Onun için dehsetim seni yildirmasin,Baskim sana agir gelmesin.

33:7 Behold, my terror shall not make you afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon you.

33:8 ‹‹Sesin hâlâ kulaklarimda,Söyle demistin:

33:8 Surely you have spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of your words, saying,

33:9 ‹Ben kusursuz ve günahsizim,Temiz ve suçsuzum.

33:9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

33:10 Yine de Tanri bana karsi bahane ariyor,Beni düsman görüyor.

33:10 Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me for his enemy,

33:11 Ayaklarimi tomruga vuruyor,Yollarimi gözetliyor.›

33:11 He puts my feet in the stocks, he marks all my paths.

33:12 ‹‹Ama sana sunu söyleyeyim,Bu konuda haksizsin.Çünkü Tanri insandan büyüktür.

33:12 Behold, in this you are not just: I will answer you, that God is greater than man.

33:13 Insanin hiçbir sözünü yanitlamiyor diyeNiçin Onunla çekisiyorsun?

33:13 Why do you strive against him? for he gives not account of any of his matters.

33:14 Çünkü insan anlamasa da,Tanri su ya da bu yolla konusur.

33:14 For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not.

33:15 Rüyada, geceleyin görümde,Insanlari agir uyku basinca,Yatakta yatarlarken,

33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

33:16 Kulaklarina konusur,Uyarisiyla onlari korkutur;

33:16 Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

33:17 Onlari yaptiklari kötülükten döndürmek,Gururdan uzak tutmak,

33:17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

33:18 Canlarini çukurdan,Hayatlarini ölümden kurtarmak için.

33:18 He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

33:19 Insan yataginda acilarla,Kemiklerinde dinmez sizilarla yola getirilir.

33:19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

33:20 Öyle ki, içi yemek kaldirmaz,En lezzetli yiyecekten tiksinir.

33:20 So that his life detests bread, and his soul dainty food.

33:21 Eti erir, görünmez olur,Gözükmeyen kemikleri ortaya çikar.

33:21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

33:22 Cani çukura,Hayati ölüm meleklerine yaklasir.

33:22 Yea, his soul draws near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

33:23 ‹‹Yine de insana dogruyu bildirmek içinYaninda bir melek, bin melekten biriArabulucu olarak bulunursa,

33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:

33:24 Ona lütfeder de,‹Onu ölüm çukuruna inmekten kurtar,Ben fidyeyi buldum› derse,

33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

33:25 Eti çocuk eti gibi yenilenir,Gençlik günlerine döner.

33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

33:26 Dua ettiginde Tanri ondan hosnut kalir,O da Tanrinin yüzünü görüp sevinir.Tanri onun durumunu düzeltir.

33:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

33:27 Sonra insanlarin önünde türkü çagirir:‹Günah isleyip dogru yoldan saptim,Ama Tanri hak ettigim cezayi vermedi bana,

33:27 He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

33:28 Canimi çukura inmekten O kurtardi,Isigi görmek için yasayacagim.›

33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

33:29 ‹‹Iste, insanin canini çukurdan çikarmak,Onu yasam isigiyla aydinlatmak içinTanri bütün bunlari iki kez,Hatta üç kez yapar.

33:29 Lo, all these things works God oftentimes with man,

33:30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

33:31 ‹‹Iyi dinle, Eyüp, kulak ver,Sen sus, ben konusacagim.

33:31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I will speak.

33:32 Söyleyecegin bir sey varsa söyle,Çünkü seni hakli çikarmak isterim.

33:32 If you have anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify you.

33:33 Yoksa, beni dinle,Sus da sana bilgelik ögreteyim.››

33:33 If not, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I shall teach you wisdom.

 Job

34:1 Elihu konusmasina söyle devam etti:

34:1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

34:2 ‹‹Ey bilgeler, sözlerimi dinleyin,Kulak verin bana, ey bilgi sahipleri.

34:2 Hear my words, O all of you wise men; and give ear unto me, all of you that have knowledge.

34:3 Çünkü damak nasil yemegi tadarsa,Kulak da sözleri sinar.

34:3 For the ear tries words, as the mouth tastes food.

34:4 Gelin, dogruyu seçelim,Iyiyi birlikte ögrenelim.

34:4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

34:5 ‹‹Çünkü Eyüp, ‹Ben suçsuzum› diyor,‹Tanri hakkimi elimden aldi.

34:5 For Job has said, I am righteous: and God has taken away my judgment.

34:6 Hakli oldugum halde yalanci sayiliyorum,Suçsuz oldugum halde okunla yaraladin beni.›

34:6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

34:7 Eyüp gibisi var mi?Alayi su gibi içiyor!

34:7 What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?

34:8 Kötülük yapanlarla dostluk edip geziyor,Kötülerle ayni yolda yürüyor.

34:8 Which goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men.

34:9 Çünkü, ‹Tanriyi hosnut etmeye çalismakInsana yarar getirmez› diyor.

34:9 For he has said, It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

34:10 ‹‹Bu yüzden, ey sagduyulu insanlar, beni dinleyin!Tanri kötülük yapar mi,Her Seye Gücü Yeten haksizlik eder mi? Asla!

34:10 Therefore hearken unto me all of you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

34:11 Çünkü O herkese yaptiginin karsiligini öder,Hak ettigini basina getirir.

34:11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

34:12 Tanri kesinlikle kötülük etmez,Her Seye Gücü Yeten adaleti saptirmaz.

34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

34:13 Kim yeryüzünü Ona emanet etti?Kim Onu bütün dünyanin basina atadi?

34:13 Who has given him a charge over the earth? or who has disposed the whole world?

34:14 Eger niyet eder deRuhunu ve solugunu geri çekerse,

34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

34:15 Bütün insanlik bir anda yok olur,Insan yine topraga döner.

34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall return unto dust.

34:16 ‹‹Aklin varsa dinle,Kulak ver sözlerime.

34:16 If now you have understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

34:17 Adaletten nefret eden hiç hüküm sürebilir mi?Adil ve güçlü olani suçlayacak misin?

34:17 Shall even he that hates right govern? and will you condemn him that is most just?

34:18 Krallara, ‹Degersizsiniz›,Soylulara, ‹Kötüsünüz› diyen,

34:18 Is it fit to say to a king, You are wicked? and to princes, All of you are ungodly?

34:19 Önderlere ayricalik tanimayan,Zengini yoksuldan çok önemsemeyen O degil mi?Çünkü hepsi Onun ellerinin isidir.

34:19 How much less to him that accepts not the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

34:20 Gece yarisi bir anda ölürler,Herkes sarsilir, ölüp gider,Güçlüler de insan eli degmeden alinip götürülür.

34:20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

34:21 ‹‹Tanrinin gözleri insanlarin yolundan ayrilmaz,Attiklari her adimi görür.

34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his activities.

34:22 Kötülük yapanlarin gizlenebilecegiNe karanlik bir yer vardir, ne de ölüm gölgesi.

34:22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

34:23 Yargilanmak için önüne gelsinler diye,Tanri insanlari sorgulamaya pek gerek duymaz.

34:23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

34:24 Arastirmadan güçlü insanlari kirar,Onlarin yerine baskalarini diker.

34:24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their position.

34:25 Çünkü ne yaptiklarini bilir,Gece onlari deviriverir, ezilirler.

34:25 Therefore he knows their works, and he overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

34:26 Herkesin gözü önündeKötülükleri yüzünden onlari cezalandirir;

34:26 He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

34:27 Artik Onun ardindan gitmedikleri,Yollarinin hiçbirini dikkate almadiklari için.

34:27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

34:28 Yoksulun feryadini Ona duyurdular;Düskünlerin feryadini isitti.

34:28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.

34:29 Ama Tanri sessiz kalirsa kim Onu suçlayabilir?Yüzünü gizlerse kim Onu görebilir?Bir ulusa karsi da bir insana karsi da O hep aynidir,

34:29 When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

34:30 Tanrisiz insan krallik etmesin,Halka tuzak kurmasin diye.

34:30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

34:31 ‹‹Kimse Tanriya,‹Suçluyum, artik kötülük yapmayacagim› dedi mi,

34:31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

34:32 ‹Göremedigimi sen bana ögret,Haksizlik ettimse, bir daha etmem?›

34:32 That which I see not teach you me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

34:33 Onu reddettigin halde,Senin keyfince mi seni ödüllendirmeli?Çünkü karar verecek olan sensin, ben degil,Öyleyse anlat bana bildigini.

34:33 Should it be according to your mind? he will recompense it, whether you refuse, or whether you choose; and not I: therefore speak what you know.

34:34 ‹‹Sagduyulu insanlar,Beni dinleyen bilgeler diyecekler ki,

34:34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

34:35 ‹Eyüp bilgisizce konusuyor,Sözlerinin degeri yok.›

34:35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

34:36 Kötü biri gibi yanitladigi içinKeske Eyüpün sinanmasi sonsuza dek sürse!

34:36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

34:37 Çünkü günahina isyan da ekliyor,Önümüzde alay edercesine el çirpiyor,Tanri'ya karsi konustukça konusuyor.››

34:37 For he adds rebellion unto his sin, he claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.

 Job

35:1 Elihu konusmasina söyle devam etti:

35:1 Elihu spoke moreover, and said,

35:2 ‹‹ ‹Tanrinin önünde hakliyim› diyorsun.Dogru buluyor musun bunu?

35:2 Think you this to be right, that you said, My righteousness is more than God's?

35:3 Ama hâlâ, ‹Günah islemezsemYararim ne, kazancim ne?› diye soruyorsun.

35:3 For you said, What advantage will it be unto you? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?

35:4 ‹‹Ben yanitlayayim seniVe arkadaslarini.

35:4 I will answer you, and your companions with you.

35:5 Göklere bak da gör,Üzerinde yükselen bulutlara göz gezdir.

35:5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you.

35:6 Günah islersen, Tanriya ne zarari olur?Isyanlarin çoksa ne olur Ona?

35:6 If you sin, what do you against him? or if your transgressions be multiplied, what do you unto him?

35:7 Dogruysan, Ona verdigin nedir,Ya da ne alir O senin elinden?

35:7 If you be righteous, what give you him? or what receives he of yours hand?

35:8 Kötülügün ancak senin gibi birine zarar verir,Dogrulugun ise yalniz insanoglu içindir.

35:8 Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; and your righteousness may profit the son of man.

35:9 ‹‹Insanlar agir baski altinda feryat ediyor,Güçlülere karsi yardim istiyor.

35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

35:10 Ama kimse, ‹Nerede Yaraticim Tanri?› demiyor;O Tanri ki, gece bize ezgiler verir,

35:10 But none says, Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night;

35:11 Yeryüzündeki hayvanlardan çok bize ögretirVe bizi gökteki kuslardan daha bilge kilar.

35:11 Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

35:12 Kötülerin gururu yüzünden insanlar feryat ediyor,Ama yanitlayan yok.

35:12 There they cry, but none gives answer, because of the pride of evil men.

35:13 Gerçek su ki, Tanri bos feryadi dinlemez,Her Seye Gücü Yeten bunu önemsemez.

35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

35:14 Onu görmedigini söyledigin zaman bileDavan Onun önündedir, bekle;

35:14 Although you says you shall not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust you in him.

35:15 Madem bu öfkeyle simdi cezalandirmadi,Isyana da pek aldirmaz diyorsun.

35:15 But now, because it is not so, he has visited in his anger; yet he knows it not in great extremity:

35:16 Bu yüzden Eyüp agzini bos yere açiyor,Bilgisizce konustukça konusuyor.››

35:16 Therefore does Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge.

 Job

36:1 Elihu konusmasina söyle devam etti:

36:1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,

36:2 ‹‹Biraz bekle, sana açiklayayim,Çünkü Tanri için söylenecek daha çok söz var.

36:2 Suffer me a little, and I will show you that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

36:3 Bilgimi genis kaynaklardan toplayacagim,Yaraticima hak verecegim.

36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from far, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

36:4 Kuskusuz söyledigim hiçbir sey yalan degil,Karsinda bilgide yetkin biri var.

36:4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with you.

36:5 ‹‹Tanri güçlüdür, ama kimseyi hor görmez,Güçlü ve amacinda kararli.

36:5 Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

36:6 Kötüleri yasatmaz,Ezilenin hakkini verir.

36:6 He perserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor.

36:7 Gözlerini dogru kisiden ayirmaz,Onu krallarla birlikte tahta oturtur,Sonsuza dek yükseltir.

36:7 He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he does establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

36:8 Ama insanlar zincire vurulur,Baski altinda tutulurlarsa,

36:8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords of affliction;

36:9 Onlara yaptiklarini,Gurura kapilip isyan ettiklerini bildirir.

36:9 Then he shows them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

36:10 Ögüdünü dinletir,Kötülükten dönmelerini buyurur.

36:10 He opens also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.

36:11 Eger dinler ve Ona kulluk ederlerse,Kalan günlerini bolluk,Yillarini rahatlik içinde geçirirler.

36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

36:12 Ama dinlemezlerse ölür,Ders almadan yok olurlar.

36:12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

36:13 ‹‹Tanrisizlar öfkelerini içlerinde gizler,Kendilerini bagladiginda Tanridan yardim istemezler.

36:13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.

36:14 Genç yasta ölüp giderler,Yasamlari putperest tapinaklarinda fuhsu is edinmis erkekler arasinda sona erer.

36:14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

36:15 Ama Tanri aci çekenleri aci çektikleri için kurtarir,Düskünlere kendini dinletir.

36:15 He delivers the poor in his affliction, and opens their ears in oppression.

36:16 ‹‹Evet, seni sikintidan çeker çikarirdi;Darligin olmadigi genis bir yere,Zengin yiyeceklerle bezenmis bir sofraya.

36:16 Even so would he have removed you out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no strictness; and that which should be set on your table should be full of fatness.

36:17 Oysa simdi kötülerin hak ettigi cezayi çekiyorsun,Yargi ve adalet yakalamis seni.

36:17 But you have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.

36:18 Dikkat et, para seni bastan çikarmasin,Büyük bir rüsvet seni saptirmasin.

36:18 Because there is wrath, beware lest he take you away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver you.

36:19 Zenginligin ya da bütün gücün yeter miSikinti çekmeni önlemeye?

36:19 Will he esteem your riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

36:20 Halklarin yeryüzündenYok edildigi geceyi özleme.

36:20 Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

36:21 Dikkat et, kötülüge dönme,Çünkü sen onu düskünlüge yegledin.

36:21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this have you chosen rather than affliction.

36:22 ‹‹Iste Tanri gücüyle yükselir,Onun gibi ögretmen var mi?

36:22 Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?

36:23 Kim Ona ne yapmasi gerektigini söyleyebilir?Kim Ona, ‹Haksizlik ettin› diyebilir?

36:23 Who has commanded with authority him his way? or who can say, You have wrought iniquity?

36:24 Onun islerini yüceltmelisin, animsa bunu,Insanlarin ezgilerle övdügü islerini.

36:24 Remember that you magnify his work, which men behold.

36:25 Bütün insanlar bunlari görmüstür,Herkes onlari uzaktan izler.

36:25 Every man may see it; man may behold it far off.

36:26 Evet, Tanri öyle büyüktür ki, Onu anlayamayiz,Varliginin süresi hesaplanamaz.

36:26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

36:27 ‹‹Su damlalarini yukari çeker,Buharindan yagmur damlatir.

36:27 For he makes small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

36:28 Bulutlar nemini döker,Insanlarin üzerine bol yagmur yagdirir.

36:28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

36:29 Bulutlari nasil yaydigini,Göksel konutundan nasil gürledigini kim anlayabilir?

36:29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

36:30 Simsekleri çevresine nasil yaydigina,Denizin dibine dek nasil ulastirdigina bakin.

36:30 Behold, he spreads his light upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea.

36:31 Tanri halklari böyle yönetir,Bol yiyecek saglar.

36:31 For by them judges he the people; he gives food in abundance.

36:32 Simsegi elleriyle tutar,Hedefine vurmasini buyurur.

36:32 With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes between.

36:33 O'nun gürleyisi firtinayi haber verir,Sigirlar bile firtina kopacagini bildirir.

36:33 The noise thereof shows concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

 Job

37:1 ‹‹Yüregim titrer buna,Yerinden oynar.

37:1 At this also my heart trembles, and is moved out of his place.

37:2 Dinleyin, gürleyen sesini dinleyin,Agzindan çikan sesi!

37:2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth.

37:3 Simsegini gögün altindaki her yere,Yeryüzünün dört bucagina salar.

37:3 He directs it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

37:4 Ardindan bir ses gümbürder,Görkemli sesiyle gürler.Sesi duyulunca simsekleri alikoymaz.

37:4 After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

37:5 Tanrinin sesi sasilacak biçimde gürler,O, anlayisimizin ötesinde büyük isler yapar.

37:5 God thunders marvellously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

37:6 Çünkü kara, ‹Yere düs› der,Saganaga, ‹Bütün siddetinle bosal.›

37:6 For he says to the snow, Be you on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

37:7 Yarattigi bütün insanlar ne yaptigini bilsin diye,Herkese isini biraktirir.

37:7 He seals up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

37:8 Hayvanlar kovuklarina girer,Inlerinde otururlar.

37:8 Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

37:9 Kasirga yuvasindan kopar,Soguk saçilan rüzgarlardan.

37:9 Out of the south comes the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

37:10 Tanrinin solugu sulari dondurur,Genis sular buz tutar.

37:10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

37:11 Bulutlara nem yükler,Simsegini her yana yayar.

37:11 Also by watering he wearies the thick cloud: he scatters his bright cloud:

37:12 Yeryüzünde ne buyurursa yapmak üzereBulutlar Onun istedigi yönde döner durur.

37:12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the world in the earth.

37:13 Ya insanlari cezalandirmakYa da yeryüzünü sulayip sevgisini göstermek içinYagmur gönderir.

37:13 He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

37:14 ‹‹Dinle, Eyüp,Dur da düsün Tanrinin sasilasi islerini.

37:14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

37:15 Do you know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

37:16 Bulutlarin dengesini,Bilgisi kusursuz olanin sasilasi islerini biliyor musun?

37:16 Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

37:17 How your garments are warm, when he stills the earth by the south wind?

37:18 Dökme tunç bir ayna kadar sert olan gökkubbeyiOnunla birlikte yayabilir misin?

37:20 Konusmak istedigim Ona söylenebilir mi?Kimse yutulmak ister mi?

37:20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

37:21 Rüzgar geçip gögü temizledigindeGökte parildayan isiga kimse bakamaz.

37:21 And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passes, and cleanses them.

37:22 Altin pariltisi geliyor kuzeyden,Tanri korkunç görkeme bürünmüs.

37:22 Fair weather comes out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

37:23 Her Seye Gücü Yetene biz ulasamayiz.Gücü yücedir,Adaleti ve essiz dogruluguyla kimseyi ezmez.

37:23 Concerning the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

37:24 Bu yüzden insanlar O'na saygi duyar,Çünkü O, bilgeleri dikkate almaz.››

37:24 Men do therefore fear him: he respects not any that are wise of heart.

41:26 Üzerine gidildi mi ne kiliç isler,Ne mizrak, ne cirit, ne de kargi.

41:26 The sword of him that lays at him cannot hold: the spear, the dart, nor the armour of jacket.

41:27 Demir saman gibi gelir ona,Tunç çürük odun gibi.

41:27 He esteems iron as straw, and brass as rotten wood.

41:28 Oklar onu kaçirmaz,Aniz gibi gelir ona sapan taslari.

41:28 The arrow cannot make him flee: sling stones are turned with him into stubble.

41:29 Aniz sayilir onun için topuzlar,Vinlayan palaya güler.

41:29 Darts are counted as stubble: he laughs at the shaking of a spear.

41:30 Keskin çömlek parçalari gibidir karninin alti,Döven gibi uzanir çamura.

41:30 Sharp stones are under him: he spreads sharp pointed things upon the mire.

41:31 Derin sulari kaynayan kazan gibi fokurdatir,Denizi merhem çömlegi gibi karistirir.

41:31 He makes the deep to boil like a pot: he makes the sea like a pot of ointment.

41:32 Ardinda parlak bir iz birakir,Insan enginin saçlari agarmis sanir.

41:32 He makes a path to shine after him; one would think the deep to be hoary.

41:33 Yeryüzünde bir esi daha yoktur,Korkusuz bir yaratiktir.

41:33 Upon earth there is not his like, who is made without fear.

41:34 Kendini büyük gören her varligi asagilar,Gururlu her varligin krali odur.››

41:34 He beholds all high things: he is a king over all the children of pride.

 Job

42:1 O zaman Eyüp RABbi söyle yanitladi:

42:1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

42:2 ‹‹Senin her seyi yapabilecegini biliyorum,Hiçbir amacina engel olunmaz.

42:2 I know that you can do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from you.

42:3 ‹Tasarimi bilgisizce karartan bu adam kim?› diye sordun.Kuskusuz anlamadigim seyleri konustum,Beni asan, bilmedigim sasilasi isleri.

42:3 Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

42:4 ‹‹ ‹Dinle de konusayim› dedin,‹Ben sorayim, sen anlat.›

42:4 Hear, I plead to you, and I will speak: I will demand of you, and declare you unto me.

42:5 Kulaktan duymaydi bildiklerim senin hakkinda,Simdiyse gözlerimle gördüm seni.

42:5 I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye sees you.

42:6 Bu yüzden kendimi hor görüyor,Toz ve kül içinde tövbe ediyorum.››

42:6 Wherefore I detest myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

42:7 RAB Eyüple konustuktan sonra, Temanli Elifaza: ‹‹Sana ve iki dostuna karsi öfkem alevlendi›› dedi, ‹‹Çünkü kulum Eyüp gibi hakkimda dogruyu konusmadiniz.

42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends: for all of you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

42:8 Simdi yedi boga, yedi koç alip kulum Eyüpün yanina gidin, kendiniz için yakmalik sunu sunun. Kulum Eyüp sizin için dua etsin. Çünkü onun duasini kabul eder, aptalliginizin karsiligini vermem. Kulum Eyüp gibi hakkimda dogruyu konusmadiniz.››

42:8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that all of you have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

42:9 Temanli Elifaz, Suahli Bildat, Naamali Sofar gidip RABbin söyledigini yaptilar. RAB de Eyüpün duasini kabul etti.

42:9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

42:10 Eyüp dostlari için dua ettikten sonra, RAB onu eski gönencine kavusturup ona önceki varliginin iki katini verdi.

42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

42:11 Bütün erkek ve kiz kardesleri, eski tanidiklarinin hepsi Eyüpün yanina gelip evinde onunla birlikte yemek yediler. Acisini paylasip RABbin basina getirmis oldugu felaketlerden ötürü onu avuttular. Her biri ona bir parça gümüs, bir de altin halka verdi.

42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

42:12 RAB Eyüpün sonunu basindan bereketli kildi. On dört bin koyuna, alti bin deveye, bin çift öküze, bin esege sahip oldu.

42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

42:13 Yedi oglu, üç kizi oldu.

42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

42:14 Ilk kizinin adini Yemima, ikincisinin Kesia, üçüncüsünün Keren-Happuk koydu.

42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

42:15 Ülkenin hiçbir yerinde Eyüpün kizlari kadar güzel kizlar yoktu. Babalari, kardeslerinin yanisira onlara da miras verdi. agirligi ve degeri bilinmeyen bir para birimiydi.

42:15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

42:16 Bundan sonra Eyüp yüz kirk yil daha yasadi, ogullarini, dört göbek torunlarini gördü.

42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

42:17 Kocayip yasama doyarak öldü.

42:17 So Job died, being old and full of days.
