2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

1:1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the will of God, and Timothy our brother, unto the church of God which is at Corinth, with all the saints which are in all Achaia:

1:1 Phao-loâ, theo yù muoán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laøm söù ñoà Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, cuøng ngöôøi anh em chuùng ta laø Ti-moâ-theâ, gôûi cho Hoäi thaùnh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû thaønh Coâ-rinh-toâ, vaø cho heát thaûy thaùnh ñoà ôû khaép xöù A-chai:

1:2 Grace be to you and peace from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

1:2 nguyeàn xin anh em ñöôïc aân ñieån vaø söï bình an ban cho bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Cha chuùng ta, vaø bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ!

1:3 Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;

1:3 Chuùc taï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Cha Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ chuùng ta, laø Cha hay thöông xoùt, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ban moïi söï yeân uûi.

1:4 Who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.

1:4 Ngaøi yeân uûi chuùng toâi trong moïi söï khoán naïn, haàu cho nhôn söï yeân uûi maø Ngaøi ñaõ yeân uûi chuùng toâi, thì chuùng toâi cuõng coù theå yeân uûi keû khaùc trong söï khoán naïn naøo hoï gaëp!

1:5 For as the sufferings of Christ abound in us, so our consolation also abounds by Christ.

1:5 Vì nhö nhöõng söï ñau ñôùn cuûa Ñaáng Christ chan chöùa trong chuùng toâi theå naøo, thì söï yeân uûi cuûa chuùng toâi bôûi Ñaáng Christ maø chöùa chan cuõng theå aáy.

1:6 And whether we be afflicted, it is for your consolation and salvation, which is effectual in the enduring of the same sufferings which we also suffer: or whether we be comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

1:6 Nhö vaäy, hoaëc chuùng toâi gaëp hoaïn naïn, aáy laø cho anh em ñöôïc yeân uûi vaø ñöôïc roãi; hoaëc chuùng toâi ñöôïc yeân uûi, aáy laø cho anh em yeân uûi, maø söï yeân uûi ñoù ñöôïc hieän ra bôûi anh em chòu caùch nhòn nhuïc nhöõng söï ñau ñôùn maø chuùng toâi cuøng chòu.

1:7 And our hope of you is steadfast, knowing, that as all of you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall all of you be also of the consolation.

1:7 Söï troâng caäy cuûa chuùng toâi veà anh em thaät vöõng vaøng; vì bieát raèng bôûi anh em coù phaàn trong söï ñau ñôùn, thì cuøng coù phaàn trong söï yeân uûi vaäy.

1:8 For we would not, brethren, have you ignorant of our trouble which came to us in Asia, that we were pressed out of measure, above strength, insomuch that we despaired even of life:

1:8 Vaû, hôõi anh em, chuùng toâi khoâng muoán ñeå anh em chaúng bieát söï khoå naïn ñaõ xaûy ñeán cho chuùng toâi trong xöù A-si, vaø chuùng toâi ñaõ bò ñeø neùn quaù chöøng, quaù söùc mình, ñeán noãi maát loøng troâng caäy giöõ söï soáng.

1:9 But we had the sentence of death in ourselves, that we should not trust in ourselves, but in God which raises the dead:

1:9 Chuùng toâi laïi hình nhö ñaõ nhaän aùn xöû töû, haàu cho chuùng toâi khoâng caäy mình, nhöng caäy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø Ñaáng khieán keû cheát soáng laïi.

1:10 Who delivered us from so great a death, and does deliver: in whom we trust that he will yet deliver us;

1:10 Aáy chính Ngaøi ñaõ cöùu chuùng toâi khoûi söï cheát lôùn döôøng aáy, vaø seõ cöùu chuùng toâi; phaûi, chuùng toâi coøn mong Ngaøi seõ cöùu chuùng toâi nöõa.

1:11 All of you also helping together by prayer for us, that for the gift bestowed upon us by the means of many persons thanks may be given by many on our behalf.

1:11 Chính anh em laáy lôøi caàu nguyeän maø giuùp ñôõ chuùng toâi, haàu cho chuùng toâi nhôø nhieàu ngöôøi caàu nguyeän maø ñöôïc ôn, thì cuõng neân dòp cho nhieàu ngöôøi vì côù chuùng toâi maø taï ôn nöõa.

1:12 For our rejoicing is this, the testimony of our conscience, that in simplicity and godly sincerity, not with fleshly wisdom, but by the grace of God, we have had our conversation in the world, and more abundantly toward you.

1:12 Coøn nhö caùi ñieàu laøm veû vang cho chuùng toâi, aáy laø löông taâm chuùng toâi laøm chöùng raèng mình laáy söï thaùnh saïch vaø thaät thaø ñeán bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø aên ôû vôùi anh em, khoâng caäy söï khoân ngoan theo taùnh xaùc thòt, nhöng caäy ôn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

1:13 For we write no other things unto you, than what all of you read or acknowledge; and I trust all of you shall acknowledge even to the end;

1:13 Vì chuùng toâi chaúng vieát cho anh em söï gì khaùc hôn nhöõng ñieàu anh em ñoïc trong thô chuùng toâi vaø chính mình anh em nhaän bieát; vaø toâi laïi mong anh em nhaän bieát cho ñeán cuoái cuøng,

1:14 As also all of you have acknowledged us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as all of you also are our's in the day of the Lord Jesus.

1:14 cuõng nhö anh em ñaõ nhaän bieát ít nhieàu roài: aáy laø chuùng toâi laøm veû vang cho anh em, khaùc naøo anh em cuõng laøm veû vang cho chuùng toâi trong ngaøy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chuùng ta.

1:15 And in this confidence I was minded to come unto you before, that all of you might have a second benefit;

1:15 Bôûi söï troâng caäy ñoù, tröôùc ñaây toâi coù ñònh ñi thaêm anh em, haàu giuùp cho anh em ñöôïc ôn boäi phaàn.

1:16 And to pass by you into Macedonia, and to come again out of Macedonia unto you, and of you to be brought on my way toward Judaea.

1:16 Toâi ñònh traûi qua nôi anh em roài ñi xöù Ma-xeâ-ñoan, laïi Ma-xeâ-ñoan trôû veà nôi anh em, taïi nôi ñoù, anh em cho ñöa toâi qua xöù Giu-ñeâ.

1:17 When I therefore was thus minded, did I use levity? or the things that I purpose, do I purpose according to the flesh, that with me there should be yea yea, and nay nay?

1:18 But as God is true, our word (o. logos) toward you was not yea and nay.

1:18 Thaät nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø thaønh tín, lôøi chuùng toâi noùi vôùi anh em cuõng chaúng phaûi khi thì phaûi khi thì chaêng vaäy.

1:19 For the Son of God, Jesus Christ, who was preached among you by us, even by me and Silvanus and Timotheus, was not yea and nay, but in him was yea.

1:19 Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, maø chuùng ta töùc laø toâi vôùi Sin-vanh vaø Ti-moâ-theâ, ñaõ giaûng ra trong anh em, chaúng phaûi laø vöøa phaûi vöøa chaêng ñaâu; nhöng trong Ngaøi chæ coù phaûi maø thoâi.

1:20 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us.

1:20 Vì chöng cuõng nhö caùc lôøi höùa cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeàu laø phaûi trong Ngaøi caû, aáy cuõng bôûi Ngaøi maø chuùng toâi noùi "A-men," laøm saùng danh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

1:21 Now he which establishes us with you in Christ, and has anointed us, is God;

1:21 Vaû, Ñaáng laøm cho beàn vöõng chuùng toâi vôùi anh em trong Ñaáng Christ, vaø ñaõ xöùc daàu cho chuùng toâi, aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi;

1:22 Who has also sealed us, and given the earn of the Spirit (o. pneuma) in our hearts.

1:22 Ngaøi cuõng laáy aán mình maø ñoùng cho chuùng toâi vaø ban cuûa tin Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh trong loøng chuùng toâi.

1:23 Moreover I call God for a record upon my soul, that to spare you I came not as yet unto Corinth.

1:23 Toâi caàu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laáy linh hoàn toâi laøm chöùng raèng, aáy laø taïi neå anh em maø toâi chöa ñi ñeán thaønh Coâ-rinh-toâ;

1:24 Not for that we have dominion over your faith, but are helpers of your joy: for by faith all of you stand.

1:24 chôù khoâng phaûi chuùng toâi muoán cai trò ñöùc tin anh em, nhöng chuùng toâi muoán giuùp theâm söï vui cuûa anh em, vì anh em ñöùng vöõng vaøng trong ñöùc tin.

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

2:1 But I determined this with myself, that I would not come again to you in heaviness.

2:1 Vaäy, chính toâi ñaõ quyeát ñònh khoâng trôû laïi cuøng anh em ñeå laøm cho anh em buoàn raàu;

2:2 For if I make you sorry, who is he then that makes me glad, but the same which is made sorry by me?

2:2 vì neáu toâi laøm cho anh em buoàn raàu, thì theå naøo toâi ñöôïc troâng caäy söï vui bôûi keû maø chính toâi ñaõ laøm cho buoàn raàu?

2:3 And I wrote this same unto you, lest, when I came, I should have sorrow from them of whom I ought to rejoice; having confidence in you all, that my joy is the joy of you all.

2:3 Toâi ñaõ bieát cho anh em nhö theá, haàu cho khi toâi ñeán nôi, seõ khoâng buoàn bôûi keû ñaùng laøm toâi vui: toâi tin caäy ôû heát thaûy anh em raèng, anh em ai naáy ñeàu laáy söï vui cuûa toâi maø laøm vui mình.

2:4 For out of much affliction and anguish of heart I wrote unto you with many tears; not that all of you should be grieved, but that all of you might know the love (o. agape) which I have more abundantly unto you.

2:4 Vaû, aáy laø ñöông trong côn khoán naïn lôùn, taám loøng quaën thaét, nöôùc maét daàm deà, maø toâi ñaõ vieát thô cho anh em, naøo phaûi ñeå cho anh em aâu saàu, nhöng ñeå laøm cho anh em bieát tình yeâu daáu rieâng cuûa toâi ñoái vôùi anh em vaäy.

2:5 But if any have caused grief, he has not grieved me, but in part: that I may not burden you all.

2:5 Neáu keû naøo laøm côù buoàn raàu, aáy chaúng phaûi chæ laøm cho toâi buoàn raàu maø thoâi, nhöng ñaõ laøm cho anh em thaûy ñeàu buoàn raàu ít nhieàu, toâi chaúng muoán noùi quaù laøm gì.

2:6 Sufficient to such a man is this punishment, which was inflicted of many.

2:6 Keû ñoù ñaõ bò phaàn nhieàu ngöôøi trong anh em quôû traùch, aáy laø ñuû roài;

2:7 So that contrariwise all of you ought rather to forgive him, and comfort him, lest perhaps such a one should be swallowed up with overmuch sorrow.

2:7 thaø nay anh em tha thöù yeân uûi, haàu cho ngöôøi khoûi bò sa ngaõ vì söï buoàn raàu quaù lôùn.

2:8 Wherefore I plead to you that all of you would confirm your love (o. agape) toward him.

2:8 Vaäy toâi xin anh em haõy baøy toû loøng yeâu thöông ñoái vôùi ngöôøi ñoù.

2:9 In order to this end also did I write, that I might know the proof of you, whether all of you be obedient in all things.

2:9 Bôûi chöng toâi vieát thô cho anh em, coát ñeå thöû anh em xem coù vaâng lôøi trong caû moïi söï cuøng chaêng.

2:10 To whom all of you forgive any thing, I forgive also: for if I forgave any thing, to whom I forgave it, for your sakes forgave I it in the person of Christ;

2:10 Nhöng anh em tha thöù ai, thì toâi cuõng tha thöù. Vaû, neáu toâi ñaõ tha, laø vì anh em maø tha, ôû tröôùc maët Ñaáng Christ,

2:11 Lest Satan should get an advantage of us: for we are not ignorant of his devices.

2:11 haàu ñöøng ñeå cho quæ Sa-tan thaéng chuùng ta, vì chuùng ta chaúng phaûi laø khoâng bieát möu chöôùc cuûa noù.

2:12 Furthermore, when I came to Troas to preach Christ's gospel, and a door was opened unto me of the Lord,

2:12 Laïi khi toâi ñaõ ñeán thaønh Troâ-aùch ñaëng giaûng Tin Laønh cuûa Ñaáng Christ, daàu Chuùa ñaõ môû cöûa cho toâi ôû ñoù,

2:13 I had no rest in my spirit, (o. pneuma) because I found not Titus my brother: but taking my leave of them, I went from thence into Macedonia.

2:13 maø vì toâi khoâng gaëp anh em toâi laø Tít, neân chaúng ñöôïc yeân loøng. Vaäy sau khi töø giaõ caùc tín ñoà, thì toâi qua xöù Ma-xeâ-ñoan.

2:14 Now thanks be unto God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ, and makes manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place.

2:14 Song taï ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ngaøi laøm cho chuùng toâi ñöôïc thaéng trong Ñaáng Christ luoân luoân, vaø bôûi chuùng toâi, Ngaøi raûi muøi thôm veà söï nhaän bieát Ngaøi khaép choán!

2:15 For we are unto God a sweet savour of Christ, in them that are saved, and in them that perish:

2:15 Vì chuùng toâi ôû tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø muøi thôm cuûa Ñaáng Christ, ôû giöõa keû ñöôïc cöùu, vaø ôû giöõa keû bò hö maát;

2:16 To the one we are the savour of death unto death; and to the other the savour of life unto life. And who is sufficient for these things?

2:16 cho keû naày, muøi cuûa söï cheát laøm cho cheát; cho keû kia, muøi cuûa söï soáng laøm cho soáng. Ai xöùng ñaùng cho nhöõng söï naày?

2:17 For we are not as many, which corrupt the word (o. logos) of God: but as of sincerity, but as of God, in the sight of God speak we in Christ.

2:17 Vaû, chuùng toâi chaúng giaû maïo lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nhö nhieàu keû khaùc; nhöng chuùng toâi laáy loøng chaân thaät, theo nhö ñaïo töø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán theå naøo, thì giaûng ra theå aáy tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, trong Ñaáng Christ.

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

3:1 Do we begin again to commend ourselves? or need we, as some others, epistles of commendation to you, or letters of commendation from you?

3:1 Chuùng toâi haù laïi baét ñaàu töï phoâ mình, hay laø nhö ngöôøi khaùc caàn coù thô gôûi gaém cho anh em, hoaëc nhôø thô gôûi gaém cuûa anh em sao?

3:2 All of you are our epistle written in our hearts, known and read of all men:

3:2 Aáy chính anh em laø thô gôûi gaém cuûa chuùng toâi, vieát trong loøng chuùng toâi, moïi ngöôøi ñeàu bieát vaø ñeàu ñoïc.

3:3 Forasmuch as all of you are manifestly declared to be the epistle of Christ ministered by us, written not with ink, but with the Spirit (o. pneuma) of the living God; not in tables of stone, but in fleshy tables of the heart.

3:3 Vaû, roõ thaät raèng anh em laø böùc thô cuûa Ñaáng Christ, bôûi chöùc vuï chuùng toâi vieát ra, chaúng phaûi vieát baèng möïc, nhöng baèng Thaùnh Linh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng, chaúng phaûi vieát treân baûng ñaù, nhöng treân baûng thòt, töùc laø treân loøng anh em.

3:4 And such trust have we through Christ toward God:

3:4 Naày laø söï tin chaéc cuûa chuùng toâi nhôø Ñaáng Christ maø coù trong Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi:

3:5 Not that we are sufficient of ourselves to think any thing as of ourselves; but our sufficiency is of God;

3:5 khoâng phaûi töï mình chuùng toâi coù taøi naêng maø nghó vieäc gì nhö bôûi chính mình chuùng toâi, nhöng taøi naêng cuûa chuùng toâi ñeán töø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi;

3:6 Who also has made us able ministers of the new testament; not of the letter, but of the spirit: (o. pneuma) for the letter kills, but the spirit (o. pneuma) gives life.

3:6 vaø aáy laø Ngaøi ñaõ ban taøi naêng cho chuùng toâi giuùp vieäc giao öôùc môùi, chaúng phaûi giao öôùc veà chöõ, beøn laø giao öôùc veà Thaùnh Linh; vì chöõ laøm cho cheát, song Thaùnh Linh laøm cho soáng.

3:7 But if the ministration of death, written and engraved in stones, was glorious, so that the children of Israel could not steadfastly behold the face of Moses for the glory of his countenance; which glory was to be done away:

3:7 Vaû, neáu chöùc vuï veà söï cheát, chaïm chöõ treân baûng ñaù, ñaõ laø vinh hieån laém ñeán noãi con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân khoâng coù theå ngoù treân maët Moâi-se, vì côù söï saùng laùng treân maët ngöôøi, daàu laø taïm,

3:8 How shall not the ministration of the spirit (o. pneuma) be rather glorious?

3:8 phöông chi chöùc vuï cuûa Thaùnh Linh caøng vinh hieån hôn bieát bao!

3:9 For if the ministration of condemnation be glory, much more does the ministration of righteousness exceed in glory.

3:9 Vaäy, neáu chöùc vuï veà söï ñònh toäi coøn ñöôïc vinh hieån, thì chöùc vuï veà söï coâng bình ñöôïc vinh hieån hôn boäi phaàn.

3:10 For even that which was made glorious had no glory in this respect, by reason of the glory that excels.

3:10 Vaû laïi, caùi ñieàu ñöôïc boài hoaøn trong chöùc vuï thöù nhöùt bieán ñi bôûi söï vinh hieån raát cao hôn cuûa chöùc vuï thöù nhì;

3:11 For if that which is done away was glorious, much more that which remains is glorious.

3:11 vì neáu söï phaûi qua ñi coøn coù luùc vinh hieån thay, phöông chi söï beàn ôû seõ coù vinh hieån döôøng naøo nöõa!

3:12 Seeing then that we have such hope, we use great plainness of speech:

3:12 Vaäy, chuùng ta coù söï troâng caäy döôøng aáy, neân ñöôïc raát töï do,

3:13 And not as Moses, which put a vail over his face, that the children of Israel could not steadfastly look to the end of that which is abolished:

3:13 chuùng ta chaúng laøm nhö Moâi-se laáy maøn che maët mình, haàu cho con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân khoâng troâng thaáy cuoái cuøng cuûa söï saùng laùng phaûi qua.

3:14 But their minds were blinded: for until this day remains the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ.

3:14 Nhöng loøng hoï ñaõ cöùng coûi; vì ñeán ngaøy nay, khi hoï ñoïc Cöïu Öôùc, caùi maøn aáy vaãn coøn chöa caát khoûi, bôûi chöng aáy laø trong Ñaáng Christ maø maøn ñoù bieán ñi.

3:15 But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.

3:15 Aáy vaäy, cho ñeán ngaøy nay, moãi laàn ngöôøi ta ñoïc saùch Moâi-se cho hoï, caùi maøn aáy vaãn coøn ôû treân loøng hoï.

3:16 Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.

3:16 Khi hoï seõ trôû laïi cuøng Chuùa, thì maøn aáy môùi caát khoûi.

3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: (o. pneuma) and where the Spirit (o. pneuma) of the Lord is, there is liberty.

3:17 Vaû, Chuùa töùc laø Thaùnh Linh, Thaùnh Linh cuûa Chuùa ôû ñaâu, thì söï töï do cuõng ôû ñoù.

3:18 But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit (o. pneuma) of the LORD.

3:18 Chuùng ta ai naáy ñeàu ñeå maët traàn maø nhìn xem vinh hieån Chuùa nhö trong göông, thì hoùa neân cuõng moät aûnh töôïng Ngaøi, töø vinh hieån qua vinh hieån, nhö bôûi Chuùa, laø Thaùnh Linh.

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

4:1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

4:1 Vaäy neân, chuùng toâi nhôø söï thöông xoùt ñaõ ban cho, maø ñöôïc chöùc vuï naày, thì chuùng toâi chaúng ngaõ loøng;

4:2 But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word (o. logos) of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man's conscience in the sight of God.

4:2 nhöng chuùng toâi töø boû moïi ñieàu hoå theïn giaáu kín. Chuùng toâi chaúng theo söï doái gaït, vaø chaúng giaû maïo lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, nhöng tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng toâi toû baøy leõ thaät, khieán löông taâm moïi ngöôøi cho chuùng toâi laø ñaùng chuoäng.

4:3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4:3 Neáu Tin Laønh cuûa chuùng toâi coøn che khuaát, laø chæ che khuaát cho nhöõng keû hö maát,

4:4 In whom the god of this world has blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

4:4 cho nhöõng keû chaúng tin maø chuùa ñôøi naày ñaõ laøm muø loøng hoï, haàu cho hoï khoâng troâng thaáy söï vinh hieån choùi loùi cuûa Tin Laønh Ñaáng Christ, laø aûnh töôïng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

4:5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus' sake.

4:5 Vaû, chuùng toâi chaúng rao giaûng chính mình chuùng toâi, nhöng rao giaûng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, töùc laø Chuùa; vaø vì tình yeâu meán Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø chuùng toâi xöng mình laø toâi tôù cuûa anh em.

4:6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, has shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

4:6 Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñaáng coù phaùn: Söï saùng phaûi soi töø trong söï toái taêm! ñaõ laøm cho söï saùng Ngaøi choùi loøa trong loøng chuùng toâi, ñaëng söï thoâng bieát veà vinh hieån Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi soi saùng nôi maët Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ.

4:7 But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

4:7 Nhöng chuùng toâi ñöïng cuûa quí naày trong chaäu baèng ñaát, haàu cho toû quyeàn pheùp lôùn döôøng aáy laø bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø ra, chôù chaúng phaûi bôûi chuùng toâi.

4:8 We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

4:8 Chuùng toâi bò eùp ñuû caùch, nhöng khoâng ñeán cuøng; bò tuùng theá nhöng khoâng ngaõ loøng;

4:9 Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

4:9 bò baét bôù, nhöng khoâng ñeán boû; bò ñaùnh ñaäp, nhöng khoâng ñeán cheát maát.

4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

4:10 Chuùng toâi thöôøng mang söï cheát cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trong thaân theå mình, haàu cho söï soáng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuõng toû ra trong thaân theå chuùng toâi.

4:11 For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus' sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

4:11 Bôûi chuùng toâi laø keû soáng, vì côù Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø haèng bò noäp cho söï cheát, haàu cho söï soáng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuõng ñöôïc toû ra trong xaùc thòt hay cheát cuûa chuùng toâi;

4:12 So then death works in us, but life in you.

4:12 vaäy thì söï cheát laøm trong chuùng toâi, coøn söï soáng trong anh em.

4:13 We having the same spirit (o. pneuma) of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

4:13 Vì chuùng toâi coù ñoàng moät loøng tin, y nhö lôøi Kinh Thaùnh raèng: Ta ñaõ tin, cho neân ta noùi, cuõng vaäy, chuùng toâi tin, cho neân môùi noùi,

4:14 Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

4:14 vì bieát raèng Ñaáng ñaõ khieán Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus soáng laïi, cuõng seõ laøm cho chuùng toâi soáng laïi vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, vaø laøm cho chuùng toâi öùng haàu vôùi anh em tröôùc maët Ngaøi.

4:15 For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

4:15 Bôûi chöng moïi ñieàu ñoù xaûy ñeán vì côù anh em, haàu cho aân ñieån raûi ra caùch dö daät, khieán söï taï ôn nôi nhieàu ngöôøi hôn cuõng dö daät, maø theâm vinh hieån cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

4:16 For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

4:16 Vaäy neân chuùng ta chaúng ngaõ loøng, daàu ngöôøi beà ngoaøi hö naùt, nhöng ngöôøi beà trong cöù ñoåi môùi caøng ngaøy caøng hôn.

4:17 For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, works for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

4:17 Vì söï hoaïn naïn nheï vaø taïm cuûa chuùng ta sanh cho chuùng ta söï vinh hieån cao troïng ñôøi ñôøi, voâ löôïng, voâ bieân,

4:18 While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

4:18 bôûi chuùng ta chaúng chaêm söï thaáy ñöôïc; vì nhöõng söï thaáy ñöôïc chæ laø taïm thôøi, maø söï khoâng thaáy ñöôïc laø ñôøi ñôøi khoâng cuøng vaäy.

5:1 For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.

5:1 Vaû, chuùng ta bieát raèng neáu nhaø taïm cuûa chuùng ta döôùi ñaát ñoå naùt, thì chuùng ta laïi coù nhaø ñôøi ñôøi treân trôøi, bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng phaûi bôûi tay ngöôøi laøm ra.

5:2 For in this we groan, earnestly desiring to be clothed upon with our house which is from heaven:

5:2 Vì chuùng ta thaät than thôû trong nhaø taïm naày, maø heát söùc mong ñöôïc maëc laáy nhaø chuùng ta töø treân trôøi,

5:3 If so be that being clothed we shall not be found naked.

5:3 mieãn laø gaëp thaáy chuùng ta ñang maëc aùo, khoâng traàn truoàng.

5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

5:4 Bôûi chöng chuùng ta ôû trong nhaø taïm naày, than thôû döôùi gaùnh naëng, vì chuùng ta khoâng caàu cho bò loät traàn, song caàu cho ñöôïc maëc laïi, ñeå söï gì hay cheát trong chuùng ta bò söï soáng nuoát ñi.

5:5 Now he that has wrought us for the very same thing is God, who also has given unto us the earn of the Spirit. (o. pneuma)

5:5 Ñaáng ñaõ gaây döïng chuùng ta cho ñöôïc söï aáy, aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaõ ban cuûa tin cuûa Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh cho chuùng ta.

5:6 Therefore we are always confident, knowing that, whilst we are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord:

5:6 Vaäy, chuùng ta haèng ñaày loøng tin caäy, vaø bieát raèng khi chuùng ta ñang ôû trong thaân theå naày thì caùch xa Chuùa

5:7 (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)

5:7 vì chuùng ta böôùc ñi bôûi ñöùc tin, chôù chaúng phaûi bôûi maét thaáy.

5:8 We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present with the Lord.

5:8 Vaäy toâi noùi, chuùng ta ñaày loøng tin caäy, muoán lìa boû thaân theå naày ñaëng ôû cuøng Chuùa thì hôn.

5:9 Wherefore we labour, that, whether present or absent, we may be accepted of him.

5:9 Cho neân chuùng ta daàu ôû trong thaân theå naày, daàu ra khoûi, cuõng laøm heát söùc ñeå ñöôïc ñeïp loøng Chuùa.

5:10 For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ; that every one may receive the things done in his body, according to that he has done, whether it be good or bad.

5:10 Bôûi vì chuùng ta thaûy ñeàu phaûi öùng haàu tröôùc toøa aùn Ñaáng Christ, haàu cho moãi ngöôøi nhaän laõnh tuøy theo ñieàu thieän hay ñieàu aùc mình ñaõ laøm luùc coøn trong xaùc thòt.

5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; but we are made manifest unto God; and I trust also are made manifest in your consciences.

5:11 Vaäy chuùng toâi bieát Chuùa ñaùng kính sôï, neân tìm caùch laøm cho ngöôøi ta ñeàu tin; Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieát chuùng toâi, vaø toâi mong anh em cuõng bieát chuùng toâi trong löông taâm mình.

5:12 For we commend not ourselves again unto you, but give you occasion to glory on our behalf, that all of you may have somewhat to answer them which glory in appearance, and not in heart.

5:12 Chuùng toâi chaúng laïi phoâ mình cuøng anh em, nhöng muoán trao cho anh em caùi dòp khoe mình veà chuùng toâi, ñaëng anh em coù theå ñoái ñaùp laïi cuøng nhöõng keû chæ khoe mình veà beà ngoaøi, maø khoâng veà söï trong loøng.

5:13 For whether we be beside ourselves, it is to God: or whether we be sober, it is for your cause.

5:13 Vaû, hoaëc chuùng toâi cuoàng, aáy laø vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; hoaëc chuùng toâi deø giöõ, aáy laø vì anh em.

5:14 For the love (o. agape) of Christ constrains us; because we thus judge, that if one died for all, then were all dead:

5:14 Vì tình yeâu thöông cuûa Ñaáng Christ caûm ñoäng chuùng toâi, vaø chuùng toâi töôûng raèng neáu coù moät ngöôøi cheát vì moïi ngöôøi, thì moïi ngöôøi ñeàu cheát,

5:15 And that he died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again.

5:15 laïi Ngaøi ñaõ cheát vì moïi ngöôøi, haàu cho nhöõng keû coøn soáng khoâng vì chính mình maø soáng nöõa, nhöng soáng vì Ñaáng ñaõ cheát vaø soáng laïi cho mình.

5:16 Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.

5:16 Bôûi ñoù, töø raøy veà sau, chuùng toâi khoâng theo xaùc thòt maø nhaän bieát ai nöõa; vaø, daãu chuùng toâi töøng theo xaùc thòt maø nhaän bieát Ñaáng Christ, song cuõng chaúng coøn nhaän bieát Ngaøi caùch aáy ñaâu.

5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.

5:17 Vaäy, neáu ai ôû trong Ñaáng Christ, thì naáy laø ngöôøi döïng neân môùi; nhöõng söï cuõ ñaõ qua ñi, naày moïi söï ñeàu trôû neân môùi.

5:18 And all things are of God, who has reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and has given to us the ministry of reconciliation;

5:18 Moïi ñieàu ñoù ñeán bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ngaøi ñaõ laøm cho chuùng ta nhôø Ñaáng Christ maø ñöôïc hoøa thuaän laïi cuøng Ngaøi, vaø giao chöùc vuï giaûng hoøa cho chuùng ta.

5:19 To know, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and has committed unto us the word (o. logos) of reconciliation.

5:19 Vì chöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi voán ôû trong Ñaáng Christ, laøm cho theá gian laïi hoøa vôùi Ngaøi, chaúng keå toäi loãi cho loaøi ngöôøi, vaø ñaõ phoù ñaïo giaûng hoøa cho chuùng toâi.

5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did plead to you by us: we pray you in Christ's position, be all of you reconciled to God.

5:20 Vaäy chuùng toâi laøm chöùc khaâm sai cuûa Ñaáng Christ, cuõng nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bôûi chuùng toâi maø khuyeân baûo. Chuùng toâi nhôn danh Ñaáng Christ maø naøi xin anh em: haõy hoøa thuaän laïi vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

5:21 For he has made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

5:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ laøm cho Ñaáng voán chaúng bieát toäi loãi trôû neân toäi loãi vì chuùng ta, haàu cho chuùng ta nhôø Ñaáng ñoù maø ñöôïc trôû neân söï coâng bình cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

6:1 We then, as workers together with him, plead to you also that all of you receive not the grace of God in vain.

6:1 Aáy vaäy, vì chuùng toâi laøm vieäc vôùi Chuùa, neân xin anh em chôù chòu ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi luoáng khoâng.

6:2 (For he says, I have heard you in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I helped you: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.)

6:2 Vì Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ta ñaõ nhaäm lôøi ngöôi trong thì thuaän tieän, Ta ñaõ phuø hoä ngöôi trong ngaøy cöùu roãi. Kìa, hieän nay laø thì thuaän tieän; kìa, hieän nay laø ngaøy cöùu roãi!

6:3 Giving no offence in any thing, that the ministry be not blamed:

6:3 Chuùng toâi chaúng laøm cho ai vaáp phaïm, haàu cho chöùc vuï cuûa mình khoûi bò moät tieáng cheâ bai naøo.

6:4 But in all things approving ourselves as the ministers of God, in much patience, in afflictions, in necessities, in distresses,

6:8 daàu vinh daàu nhuïc, daàu mang tieáng xaáu, daàu ñöôïc tieáng toát;

6:9 As unknown, and yet well known; as dying, and, behold, we live; as chastened, and not killed;

6:9 ngoù nhö keû phænh doã, nhöng laø keû thaät thaø; ngoù nhö keû xa laï, nhöng laø keû quen bieát laém; ngoù nhö gaàn cheát, maø nay vaãn soáng; ngoù nhö bò söûa phaït, maø khoâng ñeán chòu gieát;

6:11 O all of you Corinthians, our mouth is open unto you, our heart is enlarged.

6:11 Hôõi ngöôøi Coâ-rinh-toâ, mieäng chuùng toâi haû ra vì anh em, loøng chuùng toâi môû roäng.

6:12 All of you are not straitened in us, but all of you are straitened in your own bowels.

6:12 Chaúng phaûi chuùng toâi heïp hoøi ñaõi anh em, nhöng aáy laø loøng anh em töï laøm neân heïp hoøi.

6:13 Now for a recompence in the same, (I speak as unto my children,) be all of you also enlarged.

6:13 Haõy baùo ñaùp chuùng toâi nhö vaäy, toâi noùi vôùi anh em nhö noùi vôùi con caùi mình, cuõng haõy môû roäng loøng anh em!

6:14 Be all of you not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship has righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion has light with darkness?

6:14 Chôù mang aùch chung vôùi keû chaúng tin. Bôûi vì coâng bình vôùi gian aùc coù hoøa hieäp nhau ñöôïc chaêng? Söï saùng vôùi söï toái coù thoâng ñoàng nhau ñöôïc chaêng?

6:15 And what concord has Christ with Belial? or what part has he that believes with an infidel?

6:15 Ñaáng Christ vaø Beâ-li-an naøo coù hoøa hieäp chi, hay laø keû tin coù phaàn gì vôùi keû chaúng tin?

6:16 And what agreement has the temple of God with idols? for all of you are the temple of the living God; as God has said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

6:16 Coù theå naøo hieäp ñeàn thôø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laïi vôùi hình töôïng taø thaàn? Vì chuùng ta laø ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng, nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phaùn raèng: Ta seõ ôû vaø ñi laïi giöõa hoï; ta seõ laøm Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa hoï, vaø hoï laøm daân ta.

6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be all of you separate, says the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you.

6:17 Bôûi vaäy Chuùa phaùn raèng: Haõy ra khoûi giöõa chuùng noù, haõy phaân reõ ra khoûi chuùng noù, ñöøng ñaù ñoäng ñeán ñoà oâ ueá, Thì ta seõ tieáp nhaän caùc ngöôi:

6:18 Ta seõ laøm Chuùa caùc ngöôi, Caùc ngöôi laøm con trai con gaùi ta, Chuùa Toaøn naêng phaùn nhö vaäy.

7:1 Having therefore these promises, dearly beloved, let us cleanse ourselves from all filthiness of the flesh and spirit, (o. pneuma) perfecting holiness in the fear of God.

7:1 Hôõi nhöõng keû raát yeâu daáu cuûa toâi, chuùng ta ñaõ coù lôøi höùa döôøng aáy, thì haõy laøm cho mình saïch khoûi moïi söï dô baån phaàn xaùc thòt vaø phaàn thaàn linh, laïi laáy söï kính sôï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø laøm cho troïn vieäc neân thaùnh cuûa chuùng ta.

7:2 Receive us; we have wronged no man, we have corrupted no man, we have defrauded no man.

7:2 Haõy môû loøng anh em cho chuùng toâi: chuùng toâi chaúng coù laøm haïi ai, löøa doái ai; thuû lôïi ai.

7:3 I speak not this to condemn you: for I have said before, that all of you are in our hearts to die and live with you.

7:3 Toâi chaúng noùi ñieàu ñoù ñeå buoäc toäi anh em; vì toâi ñaõ noùi raèng loøng chuùng toâi thuoäc veà anh em, daàu soáng hay cheát cuõng vaäy.

7:4 Great is my boldness of speech toward you, great is my glorying of you: I am filled with comfort, I am exceeding joyful in all our tribulation.

7:4 Toâi noùi vôùi anh em caùch baïo daïn; toâi ñöôïc ñaày söï yeân uûi, toâi ñöôïc vui möøng quaù boäi ôû giöõa moïi söï khoù khaên.

7:5 For, when we were come into Macedonia, our flesh had no rest, but we were troubled on every side; without were fightings, within were fears.

7:6 Nevertheless God, that comforts those that are cast down, comforted us by the coming of Titus;

7:6 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø Ñaáng yeân uûi keû ngaõ loøng, ñaõ yeân uûi toâi bôûi Tít ñeán nôi;

7:7 And not by his coming only, but by the consolation wherewith he was comforted in you, when he told us your earn desire, your mourning, your fervent mind toward me; so that I rejoiced the more.

7:7 khoâng nhöõng bôûi ngöôøi ñeán maø thoâi, nhöng laïi bôûi söï yeân uûi ngöôøi ñaõ nhaän laõnh nôi anh em nöõa: ngöôøi coù noùi cho chuùng toâi bieát anh em raát ao öôùc, khoùc loùc, vaø coù loøng soát saéng ñoái vôùi toâi, ñieàu ñoù laøm cho toâi caøng vui möøng theâm.

7:8 For though I made you sorry with a letter, I do not repent, though I did repent: for I perceive that the same epistle has made you sorry, though it were but for a season.

7:8 Daàu nhôn böùc thô toâi, ñaõ laøm cho anh em buoàn raàu, thì toâi chaúng laáy laøm phaøn naøn; maø neáu tröôùc ñaõ phaøn naøn (vì toâi thaáy böùc thô aáy ít nöõa cuõng laøm cho anh em buoàn raàu trong moät luùc),

7:9 Now I rejoice, not that all of you were made sorry, but that all of you sorrowed to repentance: for all of you were made sorry after a godly manner, that all of you might receive damage by us in nothing.

7:9 nay toâi laïi möøng, khoâng phaûi möøng veà söï anh em ñaõ phaûi buoàn raàu, song möøng veà söï buoàn raàu laøm cho anh em sanh loøng hoái caûi. Thaät, anh em ñaõ buoàn raàu theo yù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñeán noãi chöa chòu thieät haïi bôûi chuùng toâi chuùt naøo.

7:10 For godly sorrow works repentance to salvation not to be repented of: but the sorrow of the world works death.

7:10 Vì söï buoàn raàu theo yù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sanh ra söï hoái caûi, vaø söï hoái caûi daãn ñeán söï roãi linh hoàn; veà söï ñoù ngöôøi ta chaúng heà aên naên, coøn söï buoàn raàu theo theá gian sanh ra söï cheát.

7:11 For behold this very same thing, that all of you sorrowed after a godly sort, what carefulness it wrought in you, yea, what clearing of yourselves, yea, what indignation, yea, what fear, yea, what vehement desire, yea, what zeal, yea, what revenge! In all things all of you have approved yourselves to be clear in this matter.

7:12 Wherefore, though I wrote unto you, I did it not for his cause that had done the wrong, nor for his cause that suffered wrong, but that our care for you in the sight of God might appear unto you.

7:12 Laïi coøn, neáu toâi ñaõ vieát thô cho anh em, aáy khoâng phaûi vì côù keû laøm söï traùi nghòch, cuõng khoâng phaûi vì côù keû chòu söï traùi nghòch; nhöng haàu cho loøng anh em yeâu chuoäng chuùng toâi ñöôïc toû ra giöõa anh em ôû tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

7:13 Therefore we were comforted in your comfort: yea, and exceedingly more rejoice did we for the joy of Titus, because his spirit (o. pneuma) was refreshed by you all.

7:13 Aáy laø ñieàu ñaõ yeân uûi chuùng toâi. Nhôn söï yeân uûi ñoù chuùng toâi laïi ñöôïc söï vui möøng caøng lôùn hôn nöõa, khi thaáy söï vui möøng cuûa Tít; vì anh em thaûy ñeàu ñaõ ñeå cho taâm thaàn ngöôøi ñöôïc yeân laëng.

7:14 For if I have boasted any thing to him of you, I am not ashamed; but as we spoke all things to you in truth, even so our boasting, which I made before Titus, is found a truth.

7:14 Neáu toâi ñaõ khoe mình vôùi Tít veà anh em trong söï gì, thì toâi cuõng chaúng hoå theïn; nhöng vì chuùng toâi ñaõ thöôøng noùi ñieàu thaät vôùi anh em, neân lôøi khen veà anh em maø chuùng toâi khoe vôùi Tít cuõng thaáy laø thaät.

7:15 And his inward affection is more abundant toward you, whilst he remembers the obedience of you all, how with fear and trembling all of you received him.

7:15 Khi ngöôøi nhôù ñeán söï vaâng lôøi cuûa anh em heát thaûy, vaø anh em tieáp ngöôøi caùch sôï seät run raåy döôøng naøo, thì tình yeâu thöông cuûa ngöôøi ñoái vôùi anh em caøng boäi leân.

7:16 I rejoice therefore that I have confidence in you in all things.

7:16 Toâi vui möøng vì coù theå tin caäy anh em trong moïi söï.

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

8:1 Moreover, brethren, we do you to know of the grace of God bestowed on the churches of Macedonia;

8:1 Hôõi anh em, chuùng toâi muoán anh em bieát ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ laøm cho caùc Hoäi thaùnh ôû xöù Ma-xeâ-ñoan:

8:2 How that in a great trial of affliction the abundance of their joy and their deep poverty abounded unto the riches of their liberality.

8:2 ñang khi hoï chòu nhieàu hoaïn naïn thöû thaùch, thì loøng quaù vui möøng, vaø côn raát ngheøo khoù cuûa hoï ñaõ raûi roäng ra söï dö daät cuûa loøng roäng raõi mình.

8:3 In order to their power, I bear record, yea, and beyond their power they were willing of themselves;

8:3 Vì toâi laøm chöùng cho hoï raèng hoï ñaõ töï yù quyeân tieàn theo söùc mình, hoaëc cuõng quaù söùc nöõa,

8:4 Praying us with much entreaty that we would receive the gift, and take upon us the fellowship of the ministering to the saints.

8:4 vaø naøi xin chuùng toâi laøm ôn cho hoï coù phaàn vaøo söï giuøm giuùp caùc thaùnh ñoà.

8:5 And this they did, not as we hoped, but first gave their own selves to the Lord, and unto us by the will of God.

8:5 Hoï laïi laøm quaù loøng troâng caäy cuûa chuùng toâi, vì tröôùc heát ñaõ daâng chính mình cho Chuùa, vaø sau laïi cho chuùng toâi, theo yù muoán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

8:6 Insomuch that we desired Titus, that as he had begun, so he would also finish in you the same grace also.

8:6 Vaäy neân chuùng toâi ñaõ khuyeân Tít ñi ñeán nôi anh em ñeå laøm troïn vieäc nhôn ñöùc naày, nhö ngöôøi ñaõ khôûi söï laøm.

8:7 Therefore, as all of you abound in every thing, in faith, and utterance, (o. logos) and knowledge, and in all diligence, and in your love (o. agape) to us, see that all of you abound in this grace also.

8:7 Vaäy thì, nhö anh em ñeàu troåi hôn veà moïi vieäc, töùc laø veà ñöùc tin, veà lôøi giaûng, veà söï vaâng lôøi, veà moïi söï soát saéng, veà tình yeâu chuùng toâi, thì cuõng haõy chuû yù laøm cho troåi hôn veà vieäc nhôn ñöùc naày.

8:8 I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love. (o. agape)

8:8 Toâi noùi ñieàu ñoù chaúng phaûi truyeàn daïy anh em; nhöng bôûi keû khaùc laøm göông soát saéng, thì toâi cuõng muoán thöû xem söï thaønh thöïc cuûa loøng yeâu thöông anh em laø theå naøo.

8:9 For all of you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that all of you through his poverty might be rich.

8:9 Vì anh em bieát ôn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ chuùng ta, Ngaøi voán giaøu, vì anh em maø töï laøm neân ngheøo, haàu cho bôûi söï ngheøo cuûa Ngaøi, anh em ñöôïc neân giaøu.

8:10 And herein I give my advice: for this is expedient for you, who have begun before, not only to do, but also to be forward a year ago.

8:10 Aáy laø yù toâi ngoû cho anh em; yù ñoù coù ích cho anh em, vì töø naêm tröôùc, anh em ñaõ laø ngöôøi thöù nhöùt, chaúng ngöôøi ra tay laøm vieäc naày, laïi vui loøng maø laøm nöõa.

8:11 Now therefore perform the doing of it; that as there was a readiness to will, so there may be a performance also out of that which all of you have.

8:11 Vaäy baây giôø, haõy laøm troïn coâng vieäc cuûa anh em, haàu cho nhö anh em ñaõ saün loøng theå naøo thì laøm cho troïn theo taøi naêng mình.

8:12 For if there be first a willing mind, it is accepted according to that a man has, and not according to that he has not.

8:12 Vì neáu mình laáy loøng toát maø laøm, thì ñöôïc ñeïp yù theo ñieàu mình coù, chôù chaúng theo ñieàu mình khoâng coù.

8:13 For I mean not that other men be eased, and all of you burdened:

8:13 Toâi chaúng khuyeân baûo anh em chòu tuùng tíu ñeå giuùp ñôõ keû khaùc, nhöng toâi muoán coù söï baèng nhau.

8:14 But by an equality, that now at this time your abundance may be a supply for their lack, that their abundance also may be a supply for your lack: that there may be equality:

8:14 Theo caûnh baây giôø, anh em coù dö thì buø cho hoï luùc tuùng thieáu, haàu cho hoï coù dö cuõng buø laïi luùc tuùng thieáu cho anh em, nhö vaäy laø baèng nhau,

8:15 As it is written, He that had gathered much had nothing over; and he that had gathered little had no lack.

8:15 theo lôøi cheùp raèng: Keû ñaõ thaâu nhieàu cuõng chaúng dö, keû thaâu ít cuõng chaúng thieáu chi.

8:16 But thanks be to God, which put the same earn care into the heart of Titus for you.

8:16 Taï ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi veà söï Ngaøi ñaõ xui loøng Tít cuõng aân caàn vôùi anh em theå aáy;

8:17 For indeed he accepted the exhortation; but being more forward, of his own accord he went unto you.

8:17 vì ngöôøi nghe lôøi toâi khuyeân, vaø cuõng bôûi soát saéng, thì ngöôøi töï yù ñi ñeán thaêm anh em.

8:18 And we have sent with him the brother, whose praise is in the gospel throughout all the churches;

8:18 Chuùng toâi coù sai moät ngöôøi anh em cuøng ñi, laø ngöôøi coù tieáng khen ñoàn khaép trong caùc Hoäi thaùnh, taïi nhöõng ñieàu ngöôøi ñaõ laøm vì ñaïo Tin Laønh.

8:19 And not that only, but who was also chosen of the churches to travel with us with this grace, which is administered by us to the glory of the same Lord, and declaration of your ready mind:

8:19 Vaû laïi, ngöôøi ñaõ ñöôïc caùc Hoäi thaùnh choïn löïa, ñeå laøm baïn ñi ñöôøng cuøng chuùng toâi trong vieäc nhôn ñöùc naày, laø vieäc chuùng toâi laøm troïn ñeå toû vinh hieån chính mình Chuùa ra, vaø ñeå laøm chöùng veà yù toát cuûa chuùng toâi.

8:20 Avoiding this, that no man should blame us in this abundance which is administered by us:

8:20 Chuùng toâi nhôø ñoù traùnh khoûi tieáng traùch moùc veà söï duøng tieàn goùp nhieàu nhö vaäy;

8:21 Providing for honest things, not only in the sight of the Lord, but also in the sight of men.

8:21 vì chuùng toâi tìm toøi ñieàu laønh, chaúng nhöõng ôû tröôùc maët Chuùa, maø cuõng ôû tröôùc maët ngöôøi ta nöõa.

8:22 And we have sent with them our brother, whom we have oftentimes proved diligent in many things, but now much more diligent, upon the great confidence which I have in you.

8:22 Chuùng toâi laïi sai moät ngöôøi trong anh em chuùng toâi ñi vôùi hoï, laø ngöôøi coù loøng soát saéng maø ñoøi phen chuùng toâi ñaõ thöû thaùch trong nhieàu dòp; laàn naày, vì côù ngöôøi coù loøng raát tin caäy anh em, thì chaéc laø caøng soát saéng hôn.

8:23 Whether any do enquire of Titus, he is my partner and fellow-helper concerning you: or our brethren be enquired of, they are the messengers of the churches, and the glory of Christ.

8:23 Aáy vaäy, noùi veà Tít, thì laø baïn beø toâi, vaø laø ngöôøi cuøng laøm vieäc vôùi toâi ôû nôi anh em; coøn nhö hai anh em kia, laø söù giaû cuûa caùc Hoäi thaùnh, töùc laø söï vinh hieån cuûa Ñaáng Christ.

8:24 Wherefore show all of you to them, and before the churches, the proof of your love, (o. agape) and of our boasting on your behalf.

8:24 Vaäy, anh em ôû tröôùc maët caùc Hoäi thaùnh, haõy toû chöùng côù cuûa söï yeâu thöông mình, vaø baøy ra cho hoï bieát chuùng toâi coù côù khoe mình nôi hoï vì anh em.

9:1 For as concerning the ministering to the saints, it is superfluous for me to write to you:

9:1 Vaû laïi, veà söï giuùp ñôõ thaùnh ñoà, thì khoâng caàn vieát theâm cho anh em nöõa.

9:2 For I know the forwardness of your mind, for which I boast of you to them of Macedonia, that Achaia was ready a year ago; and your zeal has provoked very many.

9:2 Vì toâi bieát anh em saün loøng, vaø toâi khoe mình veà anh em vôùi ngöôøi Ma-xeâ-ñoan, noùi raèng ngöôøi A-chai ñaõ saém saün töø naêm ngoaùi; loøng soát saéng cuûa anh em laïi ñaõ giuïc loøng nhieàu ngöôøi khaùc.

9:3 Yet have I sent the brethren, lest our boasting of you should be in vain in this behalf; that, as I said, all of you may be ready:

9:3 Song toâi ñaõ sai caùc anh em kia ñeán cuøng anh em, haàu cho lôøi toâi khen anh em khoûi ra voâ ích trong ñieàu naày, vaø haàu cho anh em saün saøng nhö lôøi toâi ñaõ noùi.

9:4 Lest lest by any means if they of Macedonia come with me, and find you unprepared, we (that we say not, all of you) should be ashamed in this same confident boasting.

9:4 Toâi e raèng neáu ngöôøi Ma-xeâ-ñoan ñeán vôùi toâi, thaáy anh em khoâng saün, thì söï tin caäy ñoù ñoåi neân ñieàu hoå theïn cho chuùng toâi chaêng, coøn anh em khoâng keå ñeán.

9:5 Therefore I thought it necessary to exhort the brethren, that they would go before unto you, and make up beforehand your bounty, whereof all of you had notice before, that the same might be ready, as a matter of bounty, and not as of covetousness.

9:5 Vaäy toâi nghó caàn phaûi xin caùc anh em kia ñi tröôùc chuùng toâi ñeán cuøng anh em, vaø caàn phaûi saém saün cuûa boá thí maø anh em ñaõ höùa, haàu cho cuûa aáy saün saøng nhö moät vieäc bôûi loøng thaønh, chaúng phaûi bôûi yù gaéng göôïng.

9:6 But this I say, He which sows sparingly shall reap also sparingly; and he which sows bountifully shall reap also bountifully.

9:6 Haõy bieát roõ ñieàu ñoù, heã ai gieo ít thì gaët ít, ai gieo nhieàu thì gaët nhieàu.

9:7 Every man according as he purposes in his heart, so let him give; not grudgingly, or of necessity: for God loves a cheerful giver.

9:7 Moãi ngöôøi neân tuøy theo loøng mình ñaõ ñònh maø quyeân ra, khoâng phaûi phaøn naøn hay vì eùp uoång; vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi yeâu keû thí cuûa caùch vui loøng.

9:8 And God is able to make all grace abound toward you; that all of you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may abound to every good work:

9:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù quyeàn ban cho anh em ñuû moïi thöù ôn ñaày daãy, haàu cho anh em haèng ñuû ñieàu caàn duøng trong moïi söï, laïi coøn coù rôøi roäng nöõa ñeå laøm caùc thöù vieäc laønh,

9:9 (As it is written, He has dispersed abroad; he has given to the poor: his righteousness remains for ever.

9:9 nhö coù cheùp raèng: Ngöôøi ñaõ raûi ra, ñaõ thí cho keû ngheøo; Söï coâng bình cuûa ngöôøi coù ñôøi ñôøi.

9:10 Now he that ministers seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;)

9:10 Ñaáng phaùt hoät gioáng cho keû gieo gioáng vaø baùnh ñeå nuoâi mình, cuõng seõ phaùt hoät gioáng cho anh em vaø laøm cho sanh hoùa ra nhieàu, Ngaøi laïi seõ theâm nhieàu traùi cuûa söï coâng bình anh em nöõa.

9:11 Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causes through us thanksgiving to God.

9:11 Nhö vaäy, anh em ñöôïc giaøu trong moïi söï, ñeå laøm ñuû moïi caùch boá thí, haàu cho ngöôøi khaùc bôûi chuùng toâi maø taï ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:12 For the administration of this service not only supplies the lack of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God;

9:12 Vì vieäc phaùt tieàn boá thí döôøng aáy chaúng nhöõng dôõ ngaët cho caùc thaùnh ñoà maø thoâi, laïi xui nhieàu ngöôøi caøng theâm loøng taï ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:13 While by the experiment of this ministration they glorify God for your professed subjection unto the gospel of Christ, and for your liberal distribution unto them, and unto all men;

9:13 Bôûi vieäc ñoù hoï ñaõ bieát loøng roäng raõi cuûa anh em, thì ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vì anh em töøng vaâng phuïc trong söï laøm chöùng veà ñaïo Tin Laønh cuûa Ñaáng Christ, vaø vì côù loøng roäng raõi veà söï boá thí cuûa anh em ñoái vôùi hoï cuøng vôùi moïi ngöôøi.

9:14 And by their prayer for you, which long after you for the exceeding grace of God in you.

9:14 Hoï laïi caàu nguyeän cho anh em, yeâu anh em caùch aâu yeám, vì côù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ban cho anh em aân ñieån quaù ñoãi.

9:15 Thanks be unto God for his unspeakable gift.

9:15 Taï ôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vì söï ban cho cuûa Ngaøi khoâng xieát keå!

10:1 Now I Paul myself plead to you by the meekness and gentleness of Christ, who in presence am base among you, but being absent am bold toward you:

10:1 Toâi laø Phao-loâ, bôûi söï nhu mì, nhôn töø cuûa Ñaáng Christ maø xin anh em, toâi laø ngöôøi heøn haï laém trong khi gaëp maët giöõa anh em nhöng luùc vaéng maët, ñoái vôùi anh em, toû ra bieát bao laø daïn dó!

10:2 But I plead to you, that I may not be bold when I am present with that confidence, wherewith I think to be bold against some, which think of us as if we walked according to the flesh.

10:2 toâi naøi xin anh em chôù eùp toâi, khi toâi seõ coù maët, phaûi duøng söï daïn dó maø toâi toan duøng nghòch cuøng maáy keû kia töôûng chuùng toâi aên ôû theo xaùc thòt.

10:3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war after the flesh:

10:3 Vì chuùng toâi daàu soáng trong xaùc thòt, chôù chaúng tranh chieán theo xaùc thòt.

10:4 (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;)

10:4 Vaû, nhöõng khí giôùi maø chuùng toâi duøng ñeå chieán tranh laø khoâng phaûi thuoäc veà xaùc thòt ñaâu, beøn laø bôûi quyeàn naêng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coù söùc maïnh ñeå ñaïp ñoå caùc ñoàn luõy:

10:5 Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

10:5 nhôø khí giôùi ñoù chuùng toâi ñaùnh ñoå caùc lyù luaän, moïi söï cao töï noåi leân nghòch cuøng söï hieåu bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø baét heát caùc yù töôûng laøm toâi vaâng phuïc Ñaáng Christ.

10:6 And being alert to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled.

10:6 Cuõng nhôø khí giôùi ñoù, chuùng toâi saün saøng phaït moïi keû chaúng phuïc, khi anh em ñaõ chòu luïy troïn roài.

10:7 Do all of you look on things after the outward appearance? If any man trust to himself that he is Christ's, let him of himself think this again, that, as he is Christ's, even so are we Christ's.

10:7 Anh em cöù xem beà ngoaøi sao? Baèng coù ai quyeát mình thuoäc veà Ñaáng Christ, haõy ngaãm nghó raèng neáu ngöôøi thuoäc veà Ñaáng Christ, thì chuùng toâi cuõng thuoäc veà Ngaøi.

10:8 For though I should boast somewhat more of our authority, which the Lord has given us for edification, and not for your destruction, I should not be ashamed:

10:8 Daàu khi toâi khoe mình khí quaù veà quyeàn pheùp Chuùa ñaõ ban cho chuùng toâi, ñeå gaây döïng anh em, chôù chaúng phaûi ñeå huûy dieät, thì toâi söï khoâng hoå theïn;

10:9 That I may not seem as if I would terrify you by letters.

10:9 song toâi chaúng muoán laøm boä doïa anh em baèng thô töø cuûa toâi.

10:10 For his letters, say they, are weighty and powerful; but his bodily presence is weak, and his speech (o. logos) contemptible.

10:10 Coù ngöôøi noùi raèng caùc thô cuûa ngöôøi naëng lôøi vaø baïo maïnh; nhöng ñeán khi coù maët thì ngöôøi yeáu ñuoái vaø lôøi noùi chaúng coù giaù gì.

10:11 Let such an one think this, that, such as we are in word (o. logos) by letters when we are absent, such will we be also in deed when we are present.

10:11 Keû noùi nhö vaäy, haõy nghó raèng khi chuùng toâi vaéng maët, lôøi trong thô theå naøo, thì khi coù maët, vieäc laøm cuõng theå aáy.

10:12 For we dare not make ourselves of the number, or compare ourselves with some that commend themselves: but they measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

10:12 Thaät chuùng toâi khoâng daùm baèng vai hoaëc saùnh mình vôùi nhöõng ngöôøi kia, laø keû hay töï phoâ mình. Nhöng laáy mình ño mình, laáy mình so saùnh vôùi mình, thì hoï toû ra ít trí khoân.

10:13 But we will not boast of things without our measure, but according to the measure of the rule which God has distributed to us, a measure to reach even unto you.

10:13 Veà phaàn chuùng toâi, chaúng muoán khoe mình quaù möïc, chæ theo möïc veà ñòa phaän maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ chæ ñònh cho chuùng toâi tôùi ñeán anh em.

10:14 For we stretch not ourselves beyond our measure, as though we reached not unto you: for we are come as far as to you also in preaching the gospel of Christ:

10:14 Bôûi chöng chuùng toâi chaúng vöôït quaù möïc mình, nhö theå chuùng toâi khoâng ñeán cuøng anh em, vì thaät chuùng toâi ñaõ ñem Tin Laønh cuûa Ñaáng Christ maø ñeán nôi anh em tröôùc heát.

10:15 Not boasting of things without our measure, that is, of other men's labours; but having hope, when your faith is increased, that we shall be enlarged by you according to our rule abundantly,

10:15 Chuùng toâi khoâng khoe mình quaù möïc, cuõng khoâng khoe veà vieäc ngöôøi khaùc laøm; nhöng mong raèng ñöùc tin cuûa anh em theâm leân, thì coâng vieäc chuùng toâi cuõng seõ lôùn leân theâm giöõa anh em, theo giôùi haïn ñaõ ñònh cho chuùng toâi, vaø coâng vieäc aáy caøng môû mang,

10:16 To preach the gospel in the regions beyond you, and not to boast in another man's line of things made ready to our hand.

10:16 cho ñeán noãi chuùng toâi seõ coù theå truyeàn Tin Laønh ra ñeán caùc xöù xa hôn xöù anh em, song chuùng toâi khoâng heà khoe mình veà vieäc ñaõ laøm trong ñòa phaän cuûa ngöôøi khaùc.

10:17 But he that glories, let him glory in the Lord.

10:17 Nhöng ai khoe mình, haõy khoe mình trong Chuùa.

10:18 For not he that commends himself is approved, but whom the Lord commends.

10:18 Vì aáy chaúng phaûi laø keû töï phoâ mình ñaùng ñöôïc öng chòu, beøn laø keû maø Chuùa gôûi gaém.

11:1 Would to God all of you could bear with me a little in my folly: and indeed bear with me.

11:1 Oâi! Chôù chi anh em dung chòu söï doà daïi cuûa toâi moät ít! Phaûi, anh em neân dung chòu.

11:2 For I am jealous over you with godly jealousy: for I have espoused you to one husband, that I may present you as a chaste virgin to Christ.

11:2 Vì veà anh em, toâi raát soát saéng nhö söï soát saéng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, bôûi toâi ñaõ gaû anh em cho moät choàng maø thoâi, daâng anh em nhö ngöôøi trinh nöõ tinh saïch cho Ñaáng Christ.

11:3 But I fear, lest by any means, as the serpent misled Eve through his subtlety, so your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that is in Christ.

11:3 Nhöng toâi ngaïi raèng nhö xöa EÂ-va bò caùm doã bôûi möu chöôùc con raén kia, thì yù töôûng anh em cuõng hö ñi, maø dôøi ñoåi loøng thaät thaø tinh saïch ñoái vôùi Ñaáng Christ chaêng.

11:4 For if he that comes preaches another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if all of you receive another spirit, (o. pneuma) which all of you have not received, or another gospel, which all of you have not accepted, all of you might well bear with him.

11:4 Vì neáu coù ngöôøi ñeán giaûng cho anh em moät Jeâsus khaùc vôùi Jeâsus chuùng toâi ñaõ giaûng, hoaëc anh em nhaän moät Thaùnh Linh khaùc vôùi Thaùnh Linh anh em ñaõ nhaän, hoaëc ñöôïc moät Tin Laønh khaùc vôùi Tin Laønh anh em ñaõ ñöôïc, thì anh em chaéc dung chòu!

11:5 For I suppose I was not a thing behind the very chiefest apostles.

11:5 Nhöng toâi töôûng raèng daàu caùc söù ñoà aáy toân troïng ñeán ñaâu, toâi cuõng chaúng thua keùm chuùt naøo.

11:6 But though I be rude in speech, (o. logos) yet not in knowledge; but we have been thoroughly made manifest among you in all things.

11:6 Veà lôøi noùi, toâi daàu laø ngöôøi thöôøng, nhöng veà söï thoâng bieát, toâi chaúng phaûi laø ngöôøi thöôøng: ñoái vôùi anh em, chuùng toâi ñaõ toû ñieàu ñoù ra giöõa moïi ngöôøi vaø trong moïi söï.

11:7 Have I committed an offence in abasing myself that all of you might be exalted, because I have preached to you the gospel of God freely?

11:7 Toâi ñaõ rao giaûng Tin Laønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cho anh em moät caùch nhöng khoâng, haï mình xuoáng cho anh em ñöôïc cao leân, vaäy thì toâi coù phaïm loãi gì chaêng?

11:8 I robbed other churches, taking wages of them, to do you service.

11:8 Toâi ñaõ nhaän löông höôùng, veùt laáy cuûa Hoäi thaùnh khaùc ñaëng giuùp vieäc anh em.

11:9 And when I was present with you, and wanted, I was chargeable to no man: for that which was lacking to me the brethren which came from Macedonia supplied: and in all things I have kept myself from being burdensome unto you, and so will I keep myself.

11:9 Khi toâi ôû cuøng anh em, gaëp phaûi luùc thieáu thoán, thì khoâng luïy ñeán ai caû; vì caùc anh em ôû xöù Ma-xeâ-ñoan ñeán, ñaõ buø laïi söï thieáu thoán cho toâi. Khoâng cöù vieäc gì, toâi ñaõ giöõ mình cho khoûi luïy ñeán anh em, toâi laïi cuõng seõ giöõ mình nhö vaäy nöõa.

11:10 As the truth of Christ is in me, no man shall stop me of this boasting in the regions of Achaia.

11:10 Nhö chaéc raèng söï chôn thaät cuûa Ñaáng Christ ôû trong toâi, thì trong caùc mieàn xöù A-chai khoâng ai caát laáy söï toâi khoe mình ñoù ñöôïc.

11:11 Wherefore? because I love you not? God knows.

11:11 Sao vaäy? Vì toâi khoâng yeâu anh em chaêng? Ñaõ coù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieát!

11:12 But what I do, that I will do, that I may cut off occasion from them which desire occasion; that wherein they glory, they may be found even as we.

11:12 Song ñieàu toâi laøm, toâi coøn laøm nöõa, ñeå caát moïi möu cuûa keû tìm möu, haàu cho trong nhöõng söï hoï laáy maø khoe mình, chaúng coù moät söï naøo troåi hôn chuùng toâi ñöôïc.

11:13 For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.

11:13 Vì maáy ngöôøi nhö vaäy laø söù ñoà giaû, laø keû laøm coâng löøa doái, maïo chöùc söù ñoà cuûa Ñaáng Christ.

11:14 And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

11:14 Naøo coù laï gì, chính quæ Sa-tan maïo laøm thieân söù saùng laùng.

11:15 Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.

11:15 Vaäy thì nhöõng keû giuùp vieäc noù maïo laøm keû giuùp vieäc coâng bình cuõng chaúng laïi gì; nhöng söï cuoái cuøng hoï seõ y theo vieäc laøm.

11:16 I say again, Let no man think me a fool; if otherwise, yet as a fool receive me, that I may boast myself a little.

11:16 Toâi laïi noùi raèng: chôù coù ai xem toâi nhö keû daïi doät; neáu vaäy thì haõy nhaän toâi nhö keû daïi doät, haàu cho toâi cuõng khoe mình ít nhieàu.

11:17 That which I speak, I speak it not after the Lord, but as it were foolishly, in this confidence of boasting.

11:17 Ñieàu toâi noùi, laø khi toâi laáy söï quaû quyeát döôøng aáy maø khoe mình, thì chaúng phaûi noùi theo Chuùa song nhö keû daïi doät vaäy.

11:18 Seeing that many glory after the flesh, I will glory also.

11:18 Bôûi coù nhieàu ngöôøi khoe mình theo xaùc thòt, toâi cuõng seõ khoe mình.

11:19 For all of you suffer fools gladly, seeing all of you yourselves are wise.

11:19 Vì anh em laø keû khoân ngoan laïi vui möøng dung chòu keû daïi doät.

11:20 For all of you suffer, if a man bring you into bondage, if a man devour you, if a man take of you, if a man exalt himself, if a man strike you on the face.

11:20 Phaûi, anh em hay chòu ngöôøi ta baét mình laøm toâi tôù, hay laø nuoát soáng, hay laø cöôùp boùc, hay laø töï cao maø khinh deå anh em, vaû treân maët anh em.

11:21 I speak as concerning reproach, as though we had been weak. Nevertheless whatever that anyone is bold, (I speak foolishly,) I am bold also.

11:21 Toâi laøm hoå theïn cho chuùng toâi noùi lôøi naày, chuùng toâi ñaõ toû mình ra yeáu ñuoái. Nhöng, ví baèng coù ai daùm khoe mình veà söï gì toâi noùi nhö keû daïi doät thì toâi cuõng daùm khoe mình.

11:22 Are they Hebrews? so am I. Are they Israelites? so am I. Are they the seed of Abraham? so am I.

11:22 Hoï laø ngöôøi Heâ-bô-rô phaûi chaêng? Toâi cuõng vaäy. Hoï laø ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân phaûi chaêng? Toâi cuõng vaäy. Hoï laø doøng doõi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham phaûi chaêng? Toâi cuõng vaäy.

11:23 Are they ministers of Christ? (I speak as a fool) I am more; in labours more abundant, in stripes above measure, in prisons more frequent, in deaths often.

11:23 Hoï laø keû haàu vieäc cuûa Ñaáng Christ phaûi chaêng? ÖØ, toâi noùi nhö keû daïi doät, toâi laïi laø keû haàu vieäc nhieàu hôn! Toâi ñaõ chòu khoù nhoïc nhieàu hôn, tuø raïc nhieàu hôn, ñoøn voït quaù chöøng. Ñoøi phen toâi gaàn phaûi bò cheát;

11:24 Of the Jews five times received I forty stripes save one.

11:24 naêm laàn bò ngöôøi Giu-ña ñaùnh roi, moãi laàn thieáu moät roi ñaày boán chuïc;

11:25 Three times was I beaten with rods, once was I stoned, three times I suffered shipwreck, a night and a day I have been in the deep;

11:25 ba laàn bò ñaùnh ñoøn; moät laàn bò neùm ñaù; ba laàn bò chìm taøu. Toâi ñaõ ôû trong bieån saâu moät ngaøy moät ñeâm.

11:26 In journeys often, in perils of waters, in perils of robbers, in perils by mine own countrymen, in perils by the heathen, in perils in the city, in perils in the wilderness, in perils in the sea, in perils among false brethren;

11:26 Laïi nhieàu laàn toâi ñi ñöôøng nguy treân soâng beán, nguy vôùi troäm cöôùp, nguy vôùi giöõa daân mình, nguy vôùi daân ngoaïi, nguy trong caùc thaønh, nguy trong caùc ñoàng vaéng, nguy treân bieån, nguy vôùi anh em giaû doái;

11:27 In weariness and painfulness, in watchings often, in hunger and thirst, in fastings often, in cold and nakedness.

11:27 chòu khoù chòu nhoïc, laém luùc thöùc ñeâm, chòu ñoùi khaùt, thöôøng khi phaûi nhòn aên, chòu laïnh vaø loõa loà.

11:28 Beside those things that are without, that which comes upon me daily, the care of all the churches.

11:28 Coøn chöa keå moïi söï khaùc, laø moãi ngaøy toâi phaûi lo laéng veà heát thaûy caùc Hoäi thaùnh.

11:29 Who is weak, and I am not weak? who is offended, and I burn not?

11:29 Naøo coù ai yeáu ñuoái maø toâi chaúng yeáu ñuoái ö? Naøo coù ai vaáp ngaõ maø toâi chaúng nhö nung nhö ñoát ö?

11:30 If I must essentially glory, I will glory of the things which concern mine infirmities.

11:30 Vì phaûi khoe mình, thì toâi seõ khoe mình veà söï yeáu ñuoái toâi.

11:31 The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which is blessed for evermore, knows that I lie not.

11:31 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø Cha Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laø Ñaáng ñaùng ngôïi khen ñôøi ñôøi voâ cuøng, bieát raèng toâi khoâng noùi doái ñaâu.

11:32 In Damascus the governor under Aretas the king kept the city of the Damascenes with a garrison, desirous to apprehend me:

11:32 ÔÛ thaønh Ña-maùch, quan toång ñoác cuûa vua A-reâ-ta giöõ thaønh cuûa ngöôøi Ña-maùch ñeå baét toâi.

11:33 And through a window in a basket was I let down by the wall, and escaped his hands.

11:33 Coù ngöôøi töø cöûa soå doøng toâi xuoáng, baèng moät caùi gioû, doïc theo löng thaønh, aáy vaäy laø toâi thoaùt khoûi tay hoï.

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

12:1 It is not expedient for me doubtless to glory. I will come to visions and revelations of the Lord.

12:1 Toâi caàn phaûi khoe mình, daàu chaúng coù ích gì; nhöng toâi seõ noùi ñeán caùc söï hieän thaáy vaø söï Chuùa ñaõ toû ra.

12:2 I knew a man in Christ above fourteen years ago, (whether in the body, I cannot tell; or whether out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;) such an one caught up to the third heaven.

12:2 Toâi bieát moät ngöôøi trong Ñaáng Christ, caùch möôøi boán naêm tröôùc, ñaõ ñöôïc ñem leân ñeán töøng trôøi thöù ba (hoaëc trong thaân theå ngöôøi, hoaëc ngoaøi thaân theå ngöôøi, toâi chaúng bieát, coù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieát).

12:3 And I knew such a man, (whether in the body, or out of the body, I cannot tell: God knows;)

12:3 Toâi bieát ngöôøi ñoù (hoaëc trong thaân theå ngöôøi, hoaëc ngoaøi thaân theå ngöôøi, toâi chaúng bieát, coù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieát)

12:4 How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, (o. rhema) which it is not lawful for a man to utter.

12:4 ñöôïc ñem leân ñeán choán Ba-ra-ñi, ôû ñoù, nghe nhöõng lôøi khoâng theå noùi, maø khoâng coù pheùp cho ngöôøi naøo noùi ra.

12:5 Of such an one will I glory: yet of myself I will not glory, but in mine infirmities.

12:5 Veà ngöôøi ñoù, toâi seõ khoe mình; nhöng veà chính mình toâi, toâi khoâng khoe, chæ khoe veà söï yeáu ñuoái cuûa toâi maø thoâi.

12:6 For though I would desire to glory, I shall not be a fool; for I will say the truth: but now I forbear, lest any man should think of me above that which he sees me to be, or that he hears of me.

12:6 Daàu toâi muoán khoe mình, thì cuõng khoâng phaûi laø moät ngöôøi daïi doät, vì toâi seõ noùi thaät; nhöng toâi giöõ, khoâng noùi, haàu cho chaúng ai nghó toâi vöôït quaù söï hoï thaáy ôû nôi toâi vaø nghe toâi noùi.

12:7 And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.

12:7 Vaäy neân, e raèng toâi leân mình kieâu ngaïo bôûi söï cao troïng caû theå cuûa nhöõng söï toû ra aáy chaêng, thì ñaõ cho moät caùi giaèm xoùc vaøo thòt toâi, töùc laø quæ söù cuûa Sa-tan, ñeå vaû toâi, vaø laøm cho toâi ñöøng kieâu ngaïo.

12:8 For this thing I besought the Lord three times, that it might depart from me.

12:8 Ñaõ ba laàn toâi caàu nguyeän Chuùa cho noù lìa xa toâi.

12:9 And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for you: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.

12:9 Nhöng Chuùa phaùn raèng: Aân ñieån ta ñuû cho ngöôi roài, vì söùc maïnh cuûa ta neân troïn veïn trong söï yeáu ñuoái. Vaäy, toâi seõ raát vui loøng khoe mình veà söï yeáu ñuoái toâi, haàu cho söùc maïnh cuûa Ñaáng Christ ôû trong toâi.

12:10 Therefore I take pleasure in infirmities, in reproaches, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses for Christ's sake: for when I am weak, then am I strong.

12:10 Cho neân toâi vì Ñaáng Christ maø ñaønh chòu trong söï yeáu ñuoái, nhuoác nha, tuùng ngaët, baét bôù, khoán khoù; vì khi toâi yeáu ñuoái, aáy laø luùc toâi maïnh meõ.

12:11 I am become a fool in glorying; all of you have compelled me: for I ought to have been commended of you: for in nothing am I behind the very chiefest apostles, though I be nothing.

12:11 Toâi ñaõ neân daïi doät bôûi anh em eùp uoång toâi; leõ thì anh em khen lao toâi môùi phaûi, vì daàu toâi khoâng ra gì, cuõng chaúng keùm caùc söù ñoà raát lôùn kia chuùt naøo.

12:12 Truly the signs of an apostle were wrought among you in all patience, in signs, and wonders, and mighty deeds.

12:12 Caùc baèng côù veà chöùc söù ñoà toâi ñaõ toû ra trong anh em bôûi söï nhòn nhuïc moïi ñaøng, bôûi caùc pheùp laï.

12:13 For what is it wherein all of you were inferior to other churches, except it be that I myself was not burdensome to you? forgive me this wrong.

12:13 Vaû, neáu tröø ra söï chính toâi khoâng laøm luïy cho anh em, thì anh em coù vieäc gì maø chaúng baèng caùc Hoäi thaùnh khaùc? Xin tha thöù cho toâi söï khoâng coâng bình ñoù!

12:14 Behold, the third time I am ready to come to you; and I will not be burdensome to you: for I seek not your's but you: for the children ought not to lay up for the parents, but the parents for the children.

12:14 Naày laø laàn thöù ba toâi saün saøng ñi ñeán cuøng anh em, vaø toâi seõ chaúng laøm luïy cho anh em ñaâu, vì khoâng phaûi toâi tìm cuûa caûi anh em, beøn laø tìm chính anh em vaäy; thaät, chaúng phaûi con caùi neân chöùa cuûa quí cho cha meï, nhöng thaø cha meï chöùa cho con caùi thì hôn.

12:15 And I will very gladly spend and be spent for you; though the more abundantly I love you, the less I be loved.

12:15 Veà phaàn toâi, toâi raát vui loøng phí cuûa vaø phí troïn caû mình toâi vì linh hoàn anh em, daãu raèng toâi yeâu anh em theâm, maø caàn phaûi bò anh em yeâu toâi keùm.

12:16 But be it so, I did not burden you: nevertheless, being crafty, I caught you with guile.

12:16 Tuy raèng toâi chöa töøng laøm luïy cho anh em, nhöng toâi laø ngöôøi khoân kheùo, ñaõ duøng möu keá maø baét laáy anh em!

12:17 Did I make a gain of you by any of them whom I sent unto you?

12:17 Vaäy toâi haù ñaõ duøng moät ngöôøi naøo trong nhöõng keû toâi sai ñeán cuøng anh em maø laáy lôïi cuûa anh em chaêng?

12:18 I desired Titus, and with him I sent a brother. Did Titus make a gain of you? walked we not in the same spirit? (o. pneuma) walked we not in the same steps?

12:18 Toâi ñaõ xin Tít ñi thaêm anh em, laïi ñaõ sai moät ngöôøi trong anh em chuùng toâi cuøng ñi vôùi ngöôøi. Coù phaûi laø Tít ñaõ laáy lôïi cuûa anh em khoâng? Chuùng toâi haù chaúng böôùc ñi bôûi moät Thaùnh Linh, theo cuøng moät daáu chôn sao?

12:19 Again, think all of you that we excuse ourselves unto you? we speak before God in Christ: but we do all things, dearly beloved, for your edifying.

12:19 Ñaõ laâu nay, anh em töôûng raèng chuùng toâi tìm caùch chöõa mình tröôùc maët anh em. Aáy laø trong Ñaáng Christ, tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø chuùng toâi noùi; hôõi nhöõng keû raát yeâu daáu, moïi ñieàu ñoù thaûy vì söï gaây döïng cho anh em.

12:20 For I fear, lest, when I come, I shall not find you such as I would, and that I shall be found unto you such as all of you would not: lest there be debates, envyings, wraths, strifes, backbitings, whisperings, swellings, tumults:

12:20 Vì toâi e raèng khi toâi ñeán, chaúng thaáy anh em nhö toâi öôùc ao, laïi veà phaàn anh em, chaúng thaáy toâi nhö anh em ñaõ öôùc ao chaêng. Toâi coøn e raèng trong caùc anh em coù nhöõng ñieàu raày raø, ghen gheùt, noùng giaän, baát hoøa, noùi haønh, noùi gaàn noùi xa, kieâu caêng, hoãn loaïn chaêng.

12:21 And lest, when I come again, my God will humble me among you, and that I shall mourn for many which have sinned already, and have not repented of the uncleanness and fornication and lasciviousness which they have committed.

12:21 Coù leõ naøo khi toâi ñeán nôi anh em, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laïi laøm cho toâi phaûi haï mình xuoáng veà vieäc anh em moät laàn nöõa, vaø toâi seõ phaûi khoùc loùc veà nhieàu keû tröôùc ñaõ phaïm toäi maø khoâng aên naên veà nhöõng söï oâ ueá, gian daâm, luoâng tuoàng hoï ñaõ phaïm, hay sao?

 2 Co rinh to - 2 Corinthians

13:1 This is the third time I am coming to you. In the mouth of two or three witnesses shall every word (o. rhema) be established.

13:1 Naày laø laàn thöù ba maø toâi seõ ñi ñeán nôi anh em. Moïi vieäc seõ ñònh cöù lôøi khai cuûa hai hoaëc ba ngöôøi laøm chöùng.

13:2 I told you before, and foretell you, as if I were present, the second time; and being absent now I write to them which in time past have sinned, and to all other, that, if I come again, I will not spare:

13:2 Ñieàu ñoù toâi ñaõ noùi roài, baây giôø laïi noùi roài nöõa, ngaøy nay toâi daàu vaéng maët, nhöng khoâng khaùc luùc toâi ôû vôùi anh em laàn thöù hai: toâi rao cho keû tröôùc coù phaïm toäi vaø cho moïi keû khaùc raèng, neáu toâi laïi ñeán, thì chaúng dung thöù chi heát,

13:3 Since all of you seek a proof of Christ speaking in me, which toward you is not weak, but is mighty in you.

13:3 vì anh em phaûi coù moät baèng côù raèng Ñaáng Christ phaùn bôûi toâi, töùc laø Ñaáng ñoái vôùi anh em chaúng phaûi laø yeáu ñuoái ñaâu, beøn laø maïnh meõ ôû giöõa anh em vaäy.

13:4 For though he was crucified through weakness, yet he lives by the power of God. For we also are weak in him, but we shall live with him by the power of God toward you.

13:4 Bôûi vì, daàu Ngaøi nhôn söï yeáu ñuoái ñaõ bò ñoùng ñinh vaøo thaäp töï giaù, nhöng Ngaøi soáng bôûi quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; chuùng toâi cuõng vaäy, daàu laø yeáu ñuoái trong Ngaøi, nhöng nhôø quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thì cuõng seõ soáng vôùi Ngaøi, ñaëng laøm vieäc giöõa anh em.

13:5 Examine yourselves, whether all of you be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know all of you not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except all of you be reprobates?

13:5 Chính anh em haõy töï xeùt ñeå xem mình coù ñöùc tin chaêng. Haõy töï thöû mình: anh em haù khoâng nhaän bieát raèng coù Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ ôû trong anh em sao? mieãn laø anh em khoâng ñaùng bò boû.

13:6 But I trust that all of you shall know that we are not reprobates.

13:6 Song toâi mong anh em nhaän bieát raèng chuùng toâi chaúng ñaùng bò boû.

13:7 Now I pray to God that all of you do no evil; not that we should appear approved, but that all of you should do that which is honest, though we be as reprobates.

13:7 Nhöng chuùng ta caàu xin Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cho anh em ñöøng laøm vieäc aùc naøo, chaúng phaûi ñeå toû ra chính chuùng toâi ñöôïc öng chòu, song haàu cho anh em laøm ñieàu thieän, maët daàu chuùng toâi nhö ñaùng bò boû.

13:8 For we can do nothing against the truth, but for the truth.

13:8 Vì chuùng toâi chaúng coù theå nghòch cuøng leõ thaät, nhöng chæ coù theå thuaän theo leõ thaät.

13:9 For we are glad, when we are weak, and all of you are strong: and this also we wish, even your perfection.

13:9 Daàu chuùng toâi yeáu ñuoái, mieãn laø anh em ñöôïc maïnh meõ thì chuùng toâi cuõng vui möøng; vaø ñieàu chuùng toâi caàu xin, aáy laø cho anh em ñöôïc neân troïn veïn.

13:10 Therefore I write these things being absent, lest being present I should use sharpness, according to the power which the Lord has given me to edification, and not to destruction.

13:10 Vaäy neân khi vaéng maët, toâi vieát nhöõng ñieàu naày, ñeå khi toâi coù maët, khoâng duøng thaúng pheùp, theo quyeàn Chuùa ban cho toâi, ñeå gaây döïng chôù khoâng phaûi ñeå huûy dieät.

13:11 Finally, brethren, farewell. Be perfect, be of good comfort, be of one mind, live in peace; and the God of love (o. agape) and peace shall be with you.

13:11 Roát laïi, hôõi anh em, haõy möøng rôõ; khaù theo ñeán söï troïn laønh; haõy yeân uûi mình, hieäp moät taâm tình, ôû cho hoøa thuaän, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi söï yeâu thöông vaø söï bình an seõ ôû cuøng anh em.

13:12 Greet one another with an holy kiss.

13:12 Haõy laáy caùi hoân thaønh maø chaøo nhau.

13:13 All the saints salute you.

13:13 Heát thaûy thaùnh ñoà chaøo anh em.

13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love (o. agape) of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) be with you all. Amen.

13:14 Nguyeàn xin ôn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ, söï yeâu thöông cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø söï giao thoâng cuûa Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh ôû vôùi anh em heát thaûy!
