He bo ro - Hebrews

1:1 God, who at several times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto the fathers by the prophets,

1:1 Ñôøi xöa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ duøng caùc ñaáng tieân tri phaùn daïy toå phuï chuùng ta nhieàu laàn nhieàu caùch,

1:2 Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;

1:2 roài ñeán nhöõng ngaøy sau roát naày, Ngaøi phaùn daïy chuùng ta bôûi Con Ngaøi, laø Con maø Ngaøi ñaõ laäp leân keá töï muoân vaät, laïi bôûi Con maø Ngaøi ñaõ döïng neân theá gian;

1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word (o. rhema) of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:

1:3 Con laø söï choùi saùng cuûa söï vinh hieån Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø hình boùng cuûa boån theå Ngaøi, laáy lôøi coù quyeàn pheùp Ngaøi naâng ñôõ muoân vaät; sau khi Con laøm xong söï saïch toäi, beøn ngoài beân höõu Ñaáng toân nghieâm ôû trong nôi raát cao,

1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.

1:4 vaäy ñöôïc höôûng danh cao hôn danh thieân söù bao nhieâu, thì trôû neân cao troïng hôn thieân söù baáy nhieâu.

1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

1:5 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haù coù bao giôø phaùn cuøng thieân söù raèng: Ngöôi laø Con ta, Ngaøy nay ta ñaõ sanh ngöôi? Laïi haù coù khi naøo phaùn: Ta seõ laøm Cha ngöôøi, Ngöôøi seõ laøm Con ta?

1:6 And again, when he brings in the First-Born into the world, he says, And let all the angels of God worship him.

1:6 Coøn khi Ngaøi ñöa Con ñaàu loøng mình vaøo theá gian, thì phaùn raèng: Moïi thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaûi thôø laïy Con.

1:7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, (o. pneuma) and his ministers a flame of fire.

1:7 Noùi veà thieân söù thì Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm cho thieân söù Ngaøi nhö gioù, Vaø toâi tôù Ngaøi nhö ngoïn löûa.

1:8 But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom.

1:8 Nhöng noùi veà Con thì laïi phaùn raèng: Hôõi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ngoâi Chuùa coøn maõi ñôøi noï qua ñôøi kia, Quyeàn bính cuûa nöôùc Chuùa laø quyeàn bính ngay thaúng.

1:9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.

1:9 Chuùa öa ñieàu coâng bình, gheùt ñieàu gian aùc; Cho neân, hôõi Chuùa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Chuùa laáy daàu vui möøng xöùc cho, Khieán Chuùa troåi hôn keû ñoàng baïn mình.

1:10 And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of yours hands:

1:10 Laïi coù phaùn: Hôõi Chuùa, ban ñaàu tröôùc heát Chuùa ñaõ döïng neàn ñaát, Vaø caùc töøng trôøi cuõng laø coâng vieäc cuûa tay Chuùa.

1:11 They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does a garment;

1:11 Trôøi ñaát seõ hö ñi, nhöng Chuùa haèng coù; Trôøi ñaát seõ cuõ ñi nhö caùi aùo;

1:12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed: but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.

1:12 Ngaøi seõ cuoán noù laïi nhö caùi aùo choaøng, Roài trôøi ñaát seõ bieán ñoåi, Nhöng Chuùa vaãn y nguyeân, Caùc naêm cuûa Chuùa khoâng heà cuøng.

1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make yours enemies your footstool?

1:13 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haù coù bao giôø phaùn cuøng thieân söù naøo raèng: Haõy ngoài beân höõu ta, Cho ñeán chöøng naøo ta ñeå keû thuø nghòch laøm beä döôùi chôn ngöôi?

1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, (o. pneuma) sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

1:14 Caùc thieân söù haù chaúng phaûi ñeàu laø thaàn haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaõ ñöôïc sai xuoáng ñeå giuùp vieäc nhöõng ngöôøi seõ höôûng cô nghieäp cöùu roãi hay sao?

 He bo ro - Hebrews

2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earn heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.

2:1 Vaäy neân, chuùng ta phaûi caøng giöõ vöõng laáy ñieàu mình ñaõ nghe e keûo bò troâi laïc chaêng.

2:2 For if the word (o. logos) spoken by angels was steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;

2:2 Vì neân lôøi thieân söù rao truyeàn ñaõ vöõng chaéc vaø söï traùi pheùp nghòch maïng ñaõ ñöôïc baùo öùng xöùng ñaùng roài,

2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him;

2:3 maø neáu ta coøn treã naûi söï cöùu roãi lôùn döôøng aáy, thì laøm sao traùnh cho khoûi ñöôïc? laø söï cöùu roãi Chuùa truyeàn ra tröôùc heát, roài coù nhöõng keû nghe chöùng nghieäm noù cho chuùng ta,

2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) according to his own will?

2:4 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng duøng nhöõng daáu kyø söï laï vaø ñuû thöù pheùp maàu, laïi duøng söï ban cho cuûa Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh maø Ngaøi ñaõ theo yù muoán mình phaùt ra, ñeå laøm chöùng vôùi caùc keû ñoù.

2:5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof we speak.

2:5 Vaû, theá gian haàu ñeán maø chuùng ta noùi ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng töøng khieán noù phuïc döôùi quyeàn caùc thieân söù.

2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him?

2:6 Nhöng coù keû ñaõ laøm chöùng raèng: Loaøi ngöôøi laø gì maø Chuùa nhôù ñeán? Con ngöôøi laø ai, maø Chuùa saên soùc ñeán?

2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands:

2:7 Chuùa ñaõ ñaët Ngöôøi ôû döôùi thieân söù moät chuùt; Cho Ngöôøi ñoäi maõo trieàu vinh hieån toân troïng;

2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.

2:8 Vaø ñaët moïi vaät döôùi chôn ngöôøi. Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ khieán moïi vaät phuïc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nhö vaäy; thì chaúng ñeå cho moät vaät naøo chaúng phuïc Ngaøi; song hieän nay chuùng ta chöa thaáy moïi vaät phuïc Ngaøi.

2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man.

2:9 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus naày, maø ñaõ ôû döôùi caùc thieân söù moät chuùt, chuùng ta thaáy Ngaøi, vì söï cheát Ngaøi ñaõ chòu ñöôïc ñoäi maõo trieàu vinh hieån toân troïng. Aáy vaäy, bôûi aân ñieån cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ vì moïi ngöôøi neám söï cheát.

2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings.

2:10 Thaät, Ñaáng maø muoân vaät höôùng veà Ngaøi vaø bôûi Ngaøi, vì muoán ñem nhieàu con ñeán söï vinh hieån, thì ñaõ khieán Ñaáng laøm coäi reã söï cöùu roãi cuûa nhöõng con aáy, nhôø söï ñau ñôùn maø neân troïn laønh, laø phaûi laém.

2:11 For both he that santifies and they who are sanctified are all of one: for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,

2:11 Vì Ñaáng laøm neân thaùnh vaø keû ñöôïc neân thaùnh, ñeàu bôûi moät Cha maø ra. Cho neân Ngaøi khoâng theïn maø goïi nhöõng keû ñoù laø anh em,

2:12 Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the church will I sing praise unto you.

2:12 khi Ngaøi coù phaùn: Toâi seõ truyeàn danh Chuùa cho anh em toâi; Vaø ngôïi khen Chuùa ôû giöõa hoäi.

2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children which God has given me.

2:13 Ngaøi laïi phaùn: Ta seõ phoù thaùc ta cho Chuùa. Laïi phaùn: Ta ñaây, ta vôùi caùc con caùi maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ban cho ta.

2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

2:14 Vaäy thì, vì con caùi coù phaàn veà huyeát vaø thòt, neân chính Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuõng coù phaàn vaøo ñoù, haàu cho Ngaøi bôûi söï cheát mình maø phaù dieät keû caàm quyeàn söï cheát, laø ma quæ,

2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

2:15 laïi cho giaûi thoaùt moïi ngöôøi vì sôï söï cheát, bò caàm trong voøng toâi moïi troïn ñôøi.

2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham.

2:16 Vì quaû thaät khoâng phaûi Ngaøi ñeán vuøa giuùp caùc thieân söù, beøn laø vuøa giuùp doøng doõi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham.

2:17 Wherefore in all things it was essential for him to be made like unto his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.

2:17 Nhôn ñoù, Ngaøi phaûi chòu laøm gioáng nhö anh em mình trong moïi söï, haàu cho ñoái vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, trôû neân thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm, hay thöông xoùt vaø trung tín, ñaëng ñeàn toäi cho chuùng daân.

2:18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help them that are tempted.

2:18 Vaû, vì chính mình Ngaøi chòu khoå trong khi bò caùm doã, neân coù theå cöùu nhöõng keû bò caùm doã vaäy.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;

3:1 Bôûi côù ñoù, hôõi anh em thaùnh, laø keû döï phaàn ôn treân trôøi goïi, haõy suy kyõ ñeán söù giaû vaø thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm maø chuùng ta tin theo, töùc laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus,

3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful in all his house.

3:2 Ngaøi ñaõ trung tín vôùi Ñaáng ñaõ laäp Ngaøi, cuõng nhö Moâi-se trung tín vôùi caû nhaø Chuùa vaäy.

3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as he who has built the house has more honour than the house.

3:3 Vì Ngaøi ñaõ ñöôïc xöng laø ñaùng vinh hieån cao troïng hôn Moâi-se, chaúng khaùc naøo thôï caát nhaø ñöôïc toân troïng hôn chính caùi nhaø.

3:4 For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is God.

3:4 Vaû, chaúng coù moät caùi nhaø naøo khoâng phaûi bôûi coù ngöôøi döïng neân; maø Ñaáng ñaõ döïng neân muoân vaät aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony of those things which were to be spoken after;

3:5 Coøn veà Moâi-se, ngöôøi ñaõ trung tín trong caû nhaø Chuùa, nhö moät keû toâi tôù, goïi ñeán laøm chöùng veà ñieàu ngaøy sau seõ ñöôïc rao giaûng.

3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.

3:6 Nhöng Ñaáng Christ thì trung tín nhö con trai quaûn trò nhaø Chuùa; maø nhaø Chuùa töùc laø chuùng ta, mieãn laø chuùng ta giöõ vöõng vaøng cho ñeán cuoái cuøng loøng tin chaéc vaø troâng caäy, laø söï chuùng ta laáy laøm vinh hieån.

3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) says, To day if all of you will hear his voice,

3:7 Cho neân, nhö Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh phaùn raèng: Ngaøy nay neáu caùc ngöôi nghe tieáng Ngaøi.

3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

3:8 Thì chôù cöùng loøng, nhö luùc noåi loaïn, Laø ngaøy thöû Chuùa trong ñoàng vaéng,

3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.

3:9 Laø nôi toå phuï caùc ngöôi thaáy coâng vieäc ta laøm trong boán möôi naêm, Maø coøn thöû ñeå doø xeùt ta!

3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always go astray in their heart; and they have not known my ways.

3:10 Nhôn ñoù, ta giaän doøng doõi naày, Vaø phaùn raèng: loøng chuùng noù laàm laïc luoân, Chaúng töøng bieát ñöôøng loái ta.

3:11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)

3:11 Naày laø lôøi theà maø ta laäp trong côn thaïnh noä, raèng: Chuùng noù seõ chaúng heà vaøo söï yeân nghæ cuûa ta.

3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God.

3:12 Hôõi anh em, haõy giöõ laáy, keûo ai trong anh em coù loøng döõ vaø chaúng tin maø traùi boû Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng chaêng.

3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.

3:13 Nhöng haèng ngaøy anh em haõy khuyeân baûo laãn nhau, ñang khi coøn goïi laø "Ngaøy nay," haàu cho trong anh em khoâng ai bò toäi loãi doã daønh maø cöùng loøng.

3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end;

3:14 Vì chuùng ta ñaõ ñöôïc döï phaàn vôùi Ñaáng Christ, mieãn laø giöõ loøng tin ban ñaàu cuûa chuùng ta cho vöõng beàn ñeán cuoái cuøng,

3:15 While it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts, as in the provocation.

3:15 trong khi coøn noùi raèng: Ngaøy nay neáu caùc ngöôi nghe tieáng Ngaøi, Thì chôù cöùng loøng, nhö luùc noåi loaïn.

3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: nevertheless not all that came out of Egypt by Moses.

3:16 Vaû, ai laø keû nghe tieáng Ngaøi roài noåi loaïn, haù chaúng phaûi nhöõng ngöôøi nhôø Moâi-se daãn ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ sao?

3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?

3:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ giaän ai trong boán möôi naêm? Haù chaúng phaûi giaän nhieàu keû phaïm toäi, maø thaây hoï ngaõ trong ñoàng vaéng sao?

3:18 And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to them that believed not?

3:18 Ngaøi laïi theà vôùi ai raèng khoâng ñöôïc vaøo söï yeân nghæ cuûa Ngaøi? Haù chaúng phaûi vôùi nhöõng ngöôøi khoâng vaâng lôøi sao?

3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.

3:19 Vaû, chuùng ta thaáy nhöõng ngöôøi aáy khoâng theå vaøo ñoù ñöôïc vì côù khoâng tin.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.

4:1 Vaäy, ñang khi coøn coù lôøi höùa cho vaøo söï yeân nghæ Chuùa, haõy lo sôï, keûo trong chuùng ta coù ai bò tröø ra chaêng.

4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word (o. logos) preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it.

4:2 Vì tin Laønh naày ñaõ rao truyeàn cho chuùng ta cuõng nhö cho hoï; nhöõng lôøi hoï ñaõ nghe khoâng ích chi heát, vì trong khi nghe, chaúng laáy ñöùc tin nhaän lôøi ñoù thuoäc veà mình.

4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were finished from the foundation of the world.

4:3 Veà phaàn chuùng ta laø keû ñaõ tin, thì vaøo söï yeân nghæ, nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phaùn raèng: Naày laø lôøi theà ta ñaõ laäp trong côn thaïnh noä: Chuùng noù seõ chaúng heà vaøo söï yeân nghæ ta! Daàu vaäy, coâng vieäc cuûa Ngaøi ñaõ xong roài töø buoåi saùng theá.

4:4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day likewise, And God did rest the seventh day from all his works.

4:4 Vì luaän veà ngaøy thöù baûy, coù cheùp raèng: Ngaøy thöù baûy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nghæ caû caùc coâng vieäc Ngaøi.

4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.

4:5 Laïi moät choã khaùc coù cheùp raèng: Chuùng noù seõ chaúng heà vaøo söï yeân nghæ ta.

4:6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:

4:6 Nhö vaäy, vì ñaõ daønh cho maáy ngöôøi phaûi vaøo ñoù, vaø vì nhöõng keû nghe Tin Laønh aáy tröôùc nhöùt ñaõ khoâng vaøo ñoù bôûi chaúng tin,

4:7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long a time; as it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not your hearts.

4:7 neân veà sau laâu laém, trong moät thô cuûa Ña-vít, Chuùa laïi ñònh moät ngaøy nöõa goïi laø "Ngaøy nay," nhö treân kia ñaõ daãn raèng: Ngaøy nay neáu caùc ngöôi nghe tieáng Ngaøi, Thì chôù cöùng loøng.

4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken of another day.

4:8 Vaû, neáu Gioâ-sueâ ñaõ cho hoï yeân nghæ, thì chaéc sau khoâng coøn noùi veà moät ngaøy khaùc nöõa.

4:9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.

4:9 Vaäy thì coøn laïi moät ngaøy yeân nghæ cho daân Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own works, as God did from his.

4:10 Vì ai vaøo söï yeân nghæ cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì nghæ coâng vieäc mình, cuõng nhö Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ nghæ coâng vieäc cuûa Ngaøi vaäy.

4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief.

4:11 Vaäy, chuùng ta phaûi gaéng söùc vaøo söï yeân nghæ ñoù, haàu cho khoâng coù moät ngöôøi naøo trong chuùng ta theo göông keû chaúng tin kia maø vaáp ngaõ.

4:12 For the word (o. logos) of God is active, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, (o. pneuma) and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.

4:12 Vì lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø lôøi soáng vaø linh nghieäm, saéc hôn göôm hai löôõi, thaáu vaøo ñeán ñoãi chia hoàn, linh, coát, tuûy, xem xeùt tö töôûng vaø yù ñònh trong loøng.

4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do. (o. logos)

4:13 Chaúng coù vaät naøo ñöôïc giaáu kín tröôùc maët Chuùa, nhöng heát thaûy ñeàu traàn truïi vaø loä ra tröôùc maét Ñaáng maø chuùng ta phaûi thöa laïi,

4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

4:14 Aáy vaäy, vì chuùng ta coù thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm lôùn ñaõ traûi qua caùc töøng trôøi, töùc laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì haõy beàn giöõ ñaïo chuùng ta ñaõ nhaän tin.

4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.

4:15 Vì chuùng ta khoâng coù thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm chaúng coù theå caûm thöông söï yeáu ñuoái chuùng ta, beøn coù moät thaày teá leã bò thöû thaùch trong moïi vieäc cuõng nhö chuùng ta, song chaúng phaïm toäi.

4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.

4:16 Vaäy, chuùng ta haõy vöõng loøng ñeán gaàn ngoâi ôn phöôùc, haàu cho ñöôïc thöông xoùt vaø tìm ñöôïc ôn ñeå giuùp chuùng ta trong thì giôø coù caàn duøng.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:

5:1 Phaøm thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm, töø trong loaøi ngöôøi choïn ra, thì vì loaøi ngöôøi laäp neân haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñeå daâng leã vaät vaø hi sinh vì toäi loãi.

5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.

5:2 Ngöôøi ñaõ bò vaây trong söï yeáu ñuoái, neân coù theå thöông xoùt nhöõng keû ngu doát sai laàm.

5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself, to offer for sins.

5:3 Aáy bôûi söï yeáu ñuoái ñoù maø ngöôøi buoäc phaûi vì toäi loãi mình daâng cuûa teá leã, cuõng nhö vì toäi loãi cuûa daân chuùng.

5:4 And no man takes this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God, as was Aaron.

5:4 Vaû, laïi khoâng ai chieám laáy chöùc troïng ñoù cho mình; phaûi ñöôïc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi keâu goïi nhö A-roân ngaøy xöa.

5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he that said unto him, You are my Son, to day have I begotten you.

5:5 Cuõng moät theå aáy, Ñaáng Christ khoâng töï toân mình laøm thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm; nhö taïi Ñaáng ñaõ phaùn cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Ngöôi laø Con ta, Ta ñaõ sanh ngöôi ngaøy nay.

5:6 As he says also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (o. logos) of Christ, let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God,

6:1 Aáy vaäy, chuùng ta phaûi boû qua caùc ñieàu sô hoïc veà Tin Laønh cuûa Ñaáng Christ, maø taán tôùi söï troïn laønh, chôù neân laäp laïi neàn nöõa, töùc laø: töø boû caùc vieäc cheát, tin Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi,

6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment.

6:2 söï daïy veà pheùp baùp tem, pheùp ñaët tay, söï keû cheát soáng laïi, söï phaùn xeùt ñôøi ñôøi.

6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.

6:3 Ví baèng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cho pheùp, thì chuùng ta seõ laøm ñieàu ñoù.

6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma)

6:4 Vì chöng nhöõng keû ñaõ ñöôïc soi saùng moät laàn, ñaõ neám söï ban cho töø treân trôøi, döï phaàn veà Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh,

6:5 And have tasted the good word (o. rhema) of God, and the powers of the world to come,

6:5 neám ñaïo laønh Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø quyeàn pheùp cuûa ñôøi sau,

6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.

6:6 neáu laïi vaáp ngaõ, thì khoâng theå khieán hoï laïi aên naên nöõa, vì hoï ñoùng ñinh Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi treân thaäp töï giaù cho mình moät laàn nöõa, laøm cho Ngaøi sæ nhuïc toû töôøng.

6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from God:

6:7 Vaû, moät ñaùm ñaát nhôø möa ñöôïm nhuaàn maø sanh caây coû coù ích cho ngöôøi caøy caáy, thì ñaát ñoù höôûng phaàn phöôùc laønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

6:8 But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

6:8 Nhöng ñaát naøo chæ sanh ra nhöõng coû raï, gai goác, thì bò boû, vaø haàu bò ruûa, cuoái cuøng phaûi bò ñoát.

6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that accompany salvation, though we thus speak.

6:9 Hôõi nhöõng keû raát yeâu daáu, daãu chuùng ta noùi vaäy, vaãn coøn ñöông troâng ñôïi nhöõng vieäc toát hôn töø nôi anh em, laø nhöõng vieäc ñöa ñeán söï cöùu roãi.

6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, (o. agape) which all of you have showed toward his name, in that all of you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.

6:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng phaûi laø khoâng coâng bình maø boû queân coâng vieäc vaø loøng yeâu thöông cuûa anh em ñaõ toû ra vì danh Ngaøi, trong khi haàu vieäc caùc thaùnh ñoà vaø hieän nay ñöông coøn haàu vieäc nöõa.

6:11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope unto the end:

6:11 Nhöng chuùng ta mong raèng moãi ngöôøi trong anh em toû loøng soát saéng nhö vaäy, ñaëng giöõ loøng ñaày daãy söï troâng caäy cho ñeán cuoái cuøng;

6:12 That all of you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith and patience inherit the promises.

6:12 ñeán noãi anh em khoâng treã naûi, nhöng cöù hoïc ñoøi nhöõng keû bôûi ñöùc tin vaø loøng nhòn nhuïc maø ñöôïc höôûng lôøi höùa.

6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater, he swore by himself,

6:13 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi höùa cuøng Aùp-ra-ham, vaø vì khoâng theå chæ Ñaáng naøo lôùn hôn, neân Ngaøi chæ chính mình Ngaøi maø theà vôùi ngöôøi raèng:

6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply you.

6:14 Chaéc ta seõ ban phöôùc cho ngöôi nhieàu, vaø khieán haäu töï ngöôi sanh saûn ñoâng theâm.

6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.

6:15 Aáy, Aùp-ra-ham ñaõ nhòn nhuïc ñôïi chôø nhö vaäy, roài môùi ñöôïc ñieàu ñaõ höùa.

6:16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is to them an end of all strife.

6:16 Ngöôøi ta thöôøng möôïn danh moät Ñaáng lôùn hôn mình maø theà, phaøm coù caõi laãy ñieàu gì, thì laáy lôøi theà maø ñònh.

6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:

6:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng vaäy, muoán caøng toû ra cho nhöõng keû höôûng lôøi höùa bieát yù ñònh Ngaøi laø chaéc chaén khoâng thay ñoåi, thì duøng lôøi theà;

6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold upon the hope set before us:

6:18 haàu cho nhôø hai ñieàu chaúng thay ñoåi ñoù, vaø veà hai ñieàu aáy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng coù theå noùi doái, maø chuùng ta tìm ñöôïc söï yeân uûi lôùn maïnh, laø keû ñaõ troán ñeán nôi aån naùu, maø caàm laáy söï troâng caäy ñaõ ñaët tröôùc maët chuùng ta.

6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast, and which enters into that within the veil;

6:19 Chuùng ta giöõ ñieàu troâng caäy naày nhö caùi neo cuûa linh hoàn, vöõng vaøng beàn chaët, thaáu vaøo phía trong maøn,

6:20 trong nôi thaùnh maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ vaøo nhö Ñaáng ñi tröôùc cuûa chuùng ta, vì ñaõ trôû neân thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm ñôøi ñôøi, theo ban Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;

7:1 Vua, Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc ñoù laø vua cuûa Sa-lem, thaày teá leã cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raát cao, ñaõ ñi röôùc Aùp-ra-ham vaø chuùc phöôùc cho, trong khi ngöôøi thaéng traän caùc vua trôû veà;

7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of peace;

7:2 Aùp-ra-ham ñaõ laáy moät phaàn möôøi veà moïi cuûa caûi mình maø daâng cho vua; theo nghóa ñen teân vua aáy, tröôùc heát laø vua söï coâng bình, laïi laø vua cuûa Sa-lem nöõa, nghóa laø vua bình an;

7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest continually.

7:3 ngöôøi khoâng cha, khoâng meï, khoâng gia phoå; khoâng coù ngaøy ñaàu môùi sanh, cuõng khoâng coù ngaøy roát qua ñôøi, nhö vaäy laø gioáng Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc naày laøm thaày teá leã ñôøi ñôøi voâ cuøng.

7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham gave the tenth of the spoils.

7:4 Haõy nghó xem, chính tieân toå laø Aùp-ra-ham ñaõ laáy moät phaàn möôøi trong nhöõng vaät raát toát cuûa mình chieám ñöôïc maø daâng cho vua, thì vua toân troïng laø döôøng naøo.

7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of Abraham:

7:5 Nhöng con chaùu hoï Leâ-vi chòu chöùc teá leã, theo luaät, coù pheùp thaâu laáy moät phaàn möôøi cuûa daân, nghóa laø cuûa anh em mình, vì chính hoï cuõng töø Aùp-ra-ham maø ra.

7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham, and blessed him that had the promises.

7:6 Nhöng vua voán khoâng phaûi ñoàng hoï, cuõng laáy moät phaàn möôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham vaø chuùc phöôùc cho keû ñöôïc lôøi höùa.

7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.

7:7 Vaû, ngöôøi böïc cao chuùc phöôùc cho keû böïc thaáp, aáy laø ñieàu khoâng caõi ñöôïc.

7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of whom it is witnessed that he lives.

7:8 Laïi, ñaèng naày, nhöõng keû thaâu laáy moät phaàn möôøi ñeàu laø ngöôøi hay cheát: coøn ñaèng kia, aáy laø keû maø coù lôøi laøm chöùng cho laø ngöôøi ñang soáng.

7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.

7:9 Laïi coù theå noùi raèng Leâ-vi laø keû thaâu laáy moät phaàn möôøi ñoù, chính mình ngöôøi cuõng bôûi Aùp-ra-ham maø ñoùng moät phaàn möôøi;

7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.

7:10 vì luùc Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc ñi ñoùn tieân toå, thì Leâ-vi coøn ôû trong loøng toå phuï.

7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order of Aaron?

7:11 Neáu coù theå ñöôïc söï troïn veïn bôûi chöùc teá leã cuûa ngöôøi Leâ-vi (vì luaät phaùp ban cho daân ñang khi coøn döôùi quyeàn chöùc teá leã), thì côù sao coøn caàn phaûi daáy leân moät thaày teá leã khaùc, laäp theo ban Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc, khoâng theo ban A-roân?

7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change also of the law.

7:12 Chöùc teá leã ñaõ thay ñoåi thì luaät phaùp cuõng caàn phaûi thay ñoåi.

7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of which no man gave attendance at the altar.

7:13 Vaû, Ñaáng maø nhöõng lôøi ñoù chæ veà, thuoäc moät chi phaùi khaùc, trong chi phaùi ñoù chöa töøng coù ai döï vieäc nôi baøn thôø.

7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses spoke nothing concerning priesthood.

7:14 Vì thaät roõ raøng Chuùa chuùng ta ra töø Giu-ña veà chi phaùi aáy, Moâi-se khoâng noùi ñieàu chi veà chöùc teá leã.

7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the embodiment of Melchisedec there arises another priest,

7:15 Moïi ñieàu ñoù caøng theâm roõ hôn nöõa, khi chuùng ta thaáy moät thaày teá leã khaùc daáy leân, gioáng nhö Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc,

7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.

7:16 laäp neân khoâng theo luaät leä cuûa ñieàu raên xaùc thòt, nhöng theo quyeàn pheùp cuûa söï soáng chaúng hay hö hay heát.

7:17 For he testifies, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.

7:17 Vaû, naày laø lôøi laøm chöùng cho Ngaøi raèng: Con laøm thaày teá leã ñôøi ñôøi Theo ban Meân-chi-xeâ-ñeùc.

7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.

7:18 Nhö vaäy, ñieàu raên tröôùc kia vì khoâng quyeàn khoâng ích neân ñaõ bò boû roài;

7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.

7:19 bôûi chöng luaät phaùp khoâng laøm troïn chi heát, laïi coù moät söï troâng caäy hay hôn ñem vaøo thay cho luaät phaùp, vaø bôûi söï troâng caäy ñoù chuùng ta ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:

7:20 Vaû laïi, söï thay ñoåi naày chaúng phaûi laø khoâng coù lôøi theà maø ñöôïc laøm ra. Nhöõng thaày teá leã khaùc khoâng bôûi lôøi theà maø ñöôïc laäp leân,

7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)

7:21 nhöng Ngaøi ñaõ ñöôïc laäp leân baèng lôøi theà, bôûi Ñaáng ñaõ phaûi cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Chuùa ñaõ theà roài, vaø khoâng hoái lôøi theà aáy ñaâu; Con laøm thaày teá leã ñeán ñôøi ñôøi.

7:22 By so much was Jesus made a guarantor of a better testament.

7:22 Vì theá, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ trôû neân Ñaáng baûo laõnh cho moät caùi giao öôùc raát toân troïng hôn caùi tröôùc.

7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:

7:23 Vaû laïi, soá thaày teá leã raát nhieàu, vì söï cheát neân khoâng giöõ luoân ñöôïc chöùc vuï.

7:24 But this man, because he continues ever, has an unchangeable priesthood.

7:24 Nhöng Ngaøi, vì haèng coù ñôøi ñôøi, neân giöõ laáy chöùc teá leã khoâng heà ñoåi thay.

7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.

7:25 Bôûi ñoù Ngaøi coù theå cöùu toaøn veïn nhöõng keû nhôø Ngaøi maø ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vì Ngaøi haèng soáng ñeå caàu thay cho nhöõng keû aáy.

7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;

7:26 Aáy ñoù thaät laø thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm maø chuùng ta coù caàn duøng, thaùnh khieát, khoâng toäi, khoâng oâ ueá, bieät khoûi keû coù toäi, ñöôïc caát leân cao hôn caùc töøng trôøi:

7:27 Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself.

7:27 khoâng nhö nhöõng thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm khaùc, caàn phaûi haèng ngaøy daâng teá leã, tröôùc vì toäi mình, sau vì toäi daân; Ngaøi laøm vieäc ñoù moät laàn thì ñuû caû, maø daâng chính mình Ngaøi laøm teá leã.

7:28 For the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word (o. logos) of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated for evermore.

7:28 Vì luaät phaùp laäp nhöõng ngöôøi voán yeáu ñuoái laøm thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm; nhöng lôøi theà coù sau luaät phaùp thì laäp Con, laø Ñaáng ñaõ neân troïn laønh ñôøi ñôøi.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens;

8:1 Ñaïi yù ñieàu chuùng ta môùi noùi ñoù, laø chuùng ta coù moät thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm, ngoài beân höõu ngai cuûa Ñaáng toân nghieâm trong caùc töøng trôøi,

8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, and not man.

8:2 laøm chöùc vieäc nôi thaùnh vaø ñeàn taïm thaät, bôûi Chuùa döïng leân, khoâng phaûi bôûi moät ngöôøi naøo.

8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.

8:3 Phaøm thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm ñaõ ñöôïc laäp leân laø ñeå daâng leã vaät vaø hi sinh; vaäy thì Ñaáng naày cuõng caàn phaûi daâng vaät gì.

8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there are priests that offer gifts according to the law:

8:4 Neáu Ngaøi coøn ôû theá gian, thì Ngaøi chaúng phaûi laø thaày teá leã, vì ôû theá gian coù nhöõng thaày teá leã daâng leã vaät theo luaät phaùp daïy,

8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, says he, that you make all things according to the pattern showed to you in the mount.

8:5 vaø giöõ söï thôø phöôïng, söï thôø phöôïng ñoù chaúng qua laø hình vaø boùng cuûa nhöõng söï treân trôøi maø thoâi, cuõng nhö khi Moâi-se gaàn döïng ñeàn taïm, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn baûo raèng: Haõy caån thaän, laøm moïi vieäc theo nhö kieåu maãu ñaõ chæ cho ngöôi taïi treân nuùi.

8:6 But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.

8:6 Nhöng thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm chuùng ta ñaõ ñöôïc moät chöùc vuï raát toân troïng hôn, vì Ngaøi laø Ñaáng trung baûo cuûa giao öôùc toát hôn, maø giao öôùc aáy laäp leân treân lôøi höùa toát hôn.

8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have been sought for the second.

8:7 Vì neáu öôùc thöù nhöùt khoâng thieáu gì, thì chaúng coù choã naøo laäp öôùc thöù hai.

8:8 For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah:

8:8 Vaû, trong nhöõng lôøi naày thaät coù yù traùch, laø lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn cuøng daân Giu-ña raèng: Chuùa phaùn: kìa, nhöït kyø ñeán, Khi ñoù ta seõ cuøng nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân vaø nhaø Giu-ña laäp moät öôùc môùi,

8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says the Lord.

8:9 Khoâng phaûi nhö öôùc ta ñaõ laäp vôùi toå tieân chuùng noù, Trong ngaøy ta caàm tay hoï daãn ra khoûi xöù EÂ-díp-toâ. Vì hoï khoâng beàn giöõ lôøi öôùc ta, Neân ta khoâng ñoaùi xem hoï, aáy laø lôøi Chuùa phaùn.

8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:

8:10 Chuùa laïi phaùn: Naày laø lôøi öôùc maø ta seõ laäp vôùi nhaø Y-sô-ra-eân Sau nhöõng ngaøy ñoù: Ta seõ ñeå luaät phaùp ta trong trí hoï Vaø ghi taïc vaøo loøng; Ta seõ laøm Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi hoï, Hoï seõ laøm daân ta.

8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the greatest.

8:11 Trong voøng hoï seõ chaúng coù ai daïy baûo coâng daân mình Vaø anh em mình, raèng: Haõy nhìn bieát Chuùa; Vì heát thaûy trong voøng hoï, Töø keû raát nhoû cho ñeán keû raát lôùn ñeàu seõ bieát ta,

8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities will I remember no more.

8:12 Nhôn ta seõ tha söï gian aùc cuûa hoï, Vaø khoâng nhôù ñeán toäi loãi hoï nöõa.

8:13 In that he says, A new covenant, he has made the first old. Now that which decays and waxs old is ready to vanish away.

8:13 Goïi öôùc ñoù laø öôùc môùi, thì ñaõ xöng öôùc tröôùc laø cuõ; vaû, ñieàu chi ñaõ cuõ ñaõ giaø, thì gaàn tieâu maát ñi.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service, and a worldly sanctuary.

9:1 Öôùc tröôùc cuõng coù nhöõng luaät veà vieäc thôø phöôïng vaø moät nôi thaùnh döôùi ñaát.

9:2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick, and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary.

9:2 Vaû, moät ñeàn taïm ñaõ döïng leân: phaàn thöù nhöùt goïi laø nôi thaùnh, coù chôn ñeøn, baøn vaø baùnh baøy ra;

9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of all;

9:3 roài ñeán phía trong maøn thöù hai, töùc laø phaàn goïi laø nôi raát thaùnh,

9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod that budded, and the tables of the covenant;

9:4 coù lö höông baèng vaøng vaø hoøm giao öôùc, toaøn boïc baèng vaøng. Trong hoøm coù moät caùi bình baèng vaøng ñöïng ñaày ma-na, caây gaäy troå hoa cuûa A-roân, vaø hai baûng giao öôùc;

9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which we cannot now speak particularly.

9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.

9:6 Caùc vaät ñaõ saép ñaët nhö vaäy, haèng ngaøy nhöõng thaày teá leã vaøo phaàn thöù nhöùt trong ñeàn taïm, ñaëng laøm troïn vieäc teá leã;

9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:

9:7 nhöng, phaàn thöù hai, thì moãi naêm moät laàn chæ moät mình thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm vaøo, chaúng bao giôø maø khoâng ñem huyeát daâng vì chính mình vaø vì söï laàm loãi daân chuùng.

9:8 The Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) this signifying, that the way into the holiest of all was not yet made manifest, while the first tabernacle was yet standing:

9:8 Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh laáy ñoù chæ ra raèng heã ñeàn taïm thöù nhöùt ñöông coøn, thì ñöôøng vaøo nôi raát thaùnh chöa môû.

9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect, as pertaining to the conscience;

9:9 Aáy laø moät hình boùng chæ veà ñôøi baây giôø, ñeå toû raèng caùc leã vaät vaø hi sinh daâng ñoù, khoâng coù theå laøm cho keû thôø phöôïng ñöôïc veïn laønh veà löông taâm.

9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.

9:10 Ñoù chaúng qua laø maïng lònh cuûa xaùc thòt, cuõng nhö caùc kyø aên, uoáng röûa saïch, chæ laäp cho ñeán kyø hoaùn caûi vaäy.

9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this building;

9:11 Nhöng Ñaáng Christ ñaõ hieän ñeán laøm thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm cuûa nhöõng söï toát laønh sau naày; Ngaøi ñaõ vöôït qua ñeàn taïm lôùn hôn vaø troïn veïn hôn, khoâng phaûi tay ngöôøi döïng ra, nghóa laø khoâng thuoäc veà ñôøi naày.

9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.

9:12 Ngaøi ñaõ vaøo nôi raát thaùnh moät laàn thì ñuû heát, khoâng duøng huyeát cuûa deâ ñöïc vaø cuûa boø con, nhöng duøng chính huyeát mình, maø ñöôïc söï chuoäc toäi ñôøi ñôøi.

9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling the unclean, santifies to the purifying of the flesh:

9:13 Vì neáu huyeát cuûa deâ ñöïc cuøng tro boø caùi tô maø ngöôøi ta röôùi treân keû oâ ueá coøn laøm saïch ñöôïc phaàn xaùc thòt hoï vaø neân thaùnh thay,

9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit (o. pneuma) offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works to serve the living God?

9:14 huoáng chi huyeát cuûa Ñaáng Christ, laø Ñaáng nhôø Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh ñôøi ñôøi, daâng chính mình khoâng tì tích cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì seõ laøm saïch löông taâm anh em khoûi coâng vieäc cheát, ñaëng haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng, laø döôøng naøo!

9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

9:15 Nhôn ñoù, Ngaøi laø Ñaáng trung baûo cuûa giao öôùc môùi, ñeå khi Ngaøi chòu cheát maø chuoäc toäi ñaõ phaïm döôùi giao öôùc cuõ, thì nhöõng keû ñöôïc keâu goïi nhaän laõnh cô nghieäp ñôøi ñôøi ñaõ höùa cho mình.

9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator.

9:16 Vì khi coù chuùc thô, thì caàn phaûi ñôïi ñeán keû troái cheát ñaõ höùa cho mình.

9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no strength at all while the testator lives.

9:17 Chuùc thô chæ coù giaù trò sau khi cheát, vaø heã keû troái coøn soáng thì noù khoâng coù quyeàn gì.

9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.

9:18 Aáy vaäy, chính giao öôùc tröôùc naøo chaúng phaûi laø khoâng duøng maùu maø laäp.

9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,

9:19 Luùc Moâi-se phaùn moïi ñieàu raên cuûa luaät phaùp cho daân chuùng, coù laáy maùu cuûa boø con vaø deâ ñöïc, vôùi nöôùc, daây nhung ñoû tía vaø nhaønh ngöu taát raûy treân saùch cuøng treân caû daân chuùng,

9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God has commanded with authority unto you.

9:20 maø noù raèng: Naày laø huyeát cuûa söï giao öôùc maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ daïy laäp vôùi caùc ngöôi.

9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels of the ministry.

9:21 Ñoaïn, ngöôøi cuõng laáy huyeát raûy ñeàn taïm cuøng moïi ñoà thôø.

9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is no remission.

9:22 Theo luaät phaùp thì haàu heát moïi vaät ñeàu nhôø huyeát maø ñöôïc saïch: khoâng ñoå huyeát thì khoâng coù söï tha thöù.

9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better sacrifices than these.

9:23 Vaäy, neáu nhöõng töôïng chæ veà caùc vaät treân trôøi ñaõ phaûi nhôø caùch aáy maø ñöôïc saïch, thì chính caùc vaät treân trôøi phaûi nhôø cuûa leã caøng quí troïng hôn nöõa ñeå ñöôïc saïch.

9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God for us:

9:24 Vaû Ñaáng Christ chaúng phaûi vaøo nôi thaùnh bôûi tay ngöôøi laøm ra, theo kieåu maãu nôi thaùnh thaät, beøn laø vaøo chính trong trôøi, ñeå baây giôø vì chuùng ta hieän ra tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters into the holy place every year with blood of others;

9:25 Aáy chaúng phaûi laø daâng chính mình Ngaøi nhieàu laàn, nhö thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm moãi naêm vaøo trong nôi raát thaùnh maø daâng huyeát khoâng phaûi laø huyeát mình;

9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

9:26 baèng chaúng vaäy, thì töø buoåi saùng theá ñeán nay, Ngaøi ñaõ phaûi chòu khoå nhieàu laàn roài. Nhöng hieän nay ñeán cuoái cuøng caùc thôøi ñaïi, Ngaøi ñaõ hieän ra chæ moät laàn, daâng mình laøm teá leã ñeå caát toäi loãi ñi.

9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:

9:27 Theo nhö ñaõ ñònh cho loaøi ngöôøi phaûi cheát moät laàn, roài chòu phaùn xeùt,

9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.

9:28 cuõng vaäy, Ñaáng Christ ñaõ daâng mình chæ moät laàn ñaëng caát toäi loãi cuûa nhieàu ngöôøi; Ngaøi laïi seõ hieän ra laàn thöù hai, khoâng phaûi ñeå caát toäi loãi ñi nöõa, nhöng ñeå ban söï cöùu roãi cho keû chôø ñôïi Ngaøi.

 He bo ro - Hebrews

10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.

10:1 Vaû, luaät phaùp chæ laø boùng cuûa söï toát laønh ngaøy sau, khoâng coù hình thaät cuûa caùc vaät, neân khoâng bao giôø caäy teá leã moãi naêm haèng daâng nhö vaäy, maø khieán keû ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi trôû neân troïn laønh ñöôïc.

10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.

10:2 Neáu ñöôïc, thì nhöõng keû thôø phöôïng ñaõ moät laàn ñöôïc saïch roài, löông taâm hoï khoâng coøn bieát toäi nöõa, nhôn ñoù, haù chaúng thoâi daâng teá leã hay sao?

10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every year.

10:3 Traùi laïi, nhöõng teá leã ñoù chaúng qua laø moãi naêm nhaéc cho nhôù laïi toäi loãi.

10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take away sins.

10:4 Vì huyeát cuûa boø ñöïc vaø deâ ñöïc khoâng theå caát toäi loãi ñi ñöôïc.

10:5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering you would not, but a body have you prepared me:

10:5 Bôûi vaäy cho neân, Ñaáng Christ khi vaøo theá gian, phaùn raèng: Chuùa chaúng muoán hy sinh, cuõng chaúng muoán leã vaät, Nhöng Chuùa ñaõ saém söûa moät thaân theå cho toâi.

10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.

10:6 Chuùa chaúng nhaäm cuûa leã thieâu, cuõng chaúng nhaäm cuûa leã chuoäc toäi.

10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do your will, O God.

10:7 Toâi beøn noùi: Hôõi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, naày toâi ñeán Trong saùch coù cheùp veà toâi Toâi ñeán ñeå laøm theo yù muoán Chuùa.

10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the law;

10:8 Tröôùc ñaõ noùi: Chuùa chaúng muoán, chaúng nhaäm nhöõng hi sinh, leã vaät, cuûa leã thieâu, cuûa leã chuoäc toäi, ñoù laø theo luaät phaùp daïy; sau laïi noùi: Ñaây naày, toâi ñeán ñeå laøm theo yù muoán Chuùa.

10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first, that he may establish the second.

10:9 Vaäy thì, Chuùa ñaõ boû ñieàu tröôùc, ñaëng laäp ñieàu sau.

10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body of Jesus Christ once for all.

10:10 Aáy laø theo yù muoán ñoù maø chuùng ta ñöôïc neân thaùnh nhôø söï daâng thaân theå cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus Christ moät laàn ñuû caû.

10:11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:

10:11 Phaøm thaày teá leã moãi ngaøy ñöùng haàu vieäc vaø naêng daâng cuûa leã ñoàng moät thöùc, laø cuûa leã khoâng bao giôø caát toäi loãi ñöôïc,

10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever, sat down on the right hand of God;

10:12 coøn nhö Ñaáng naày, ñaõ vì toäi loãi daâng chæ moät cuûa leã, roài ngoài ñôøi ñôøi beân höõu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.

10:13 töø raøy veà sau ñöông ñôïi nhöõng keû thuø nghòch Ngaøi bò ñeå laøm beä döôùi chôn Ngaøi vaäy.

10:14 For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.

10:14 Vì nhôø daâng chæ moät cuûa teá leã, Ngaøi laøm cho nhöõng keû neân thaùnh ñöôïc troïn veïn ñôøi ñôøi.

10:15 Whereof the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) also is a witness to us: for after that he had said before,

10:15 Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh cuõng laøm chöùng cho chuùng ta nhö vaäy; vì ñaõ phaùn raèng:

10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

10:16 Chuùa phaùn: Naày laø giao öôùc ta laäp vôùi chuùng noù Sau nhöõng ngaøy ñoù, Ta seõ ñeå luaät phaùp ta vaøo loøng chuùng noù Vaø ghi taïc nôi trí khoân,

10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.

10:17 Laïi phaùn: Ta seõ chaúng coøn nhôù ñeán toäi loãi gian aùc cuûa chuùng noù nöõa.

10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.

10:18 Bôûi heã coù söï tha thöù thì khoâng caàn daâng cuûa leã vì toäi loãi nöõa.

10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the blood of Jesus,

10:19 Hôõi anh em, vì chuùng ta nhôø huyeát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöôïc daïn dó vaøo nôi raát thaùnh,

10:20 By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

10:20 bôûi ñöôøng môùi vaø soáng maø Ngaøi ñaõ môû ngang qua caùi maøn, nghóa laø ngang qua xaùc Ngaøi,

10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;

10:21 laïi vì chuùng ta coù moät thaày teá leã lôùn ñaõ laäp leân cai trò nhaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi,

10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.

10:22 neân chuùng ta haõy laáy loøng thaät thaø vôùi ñöùc tin ñaày daãy troïn veïn, loøng ñöôïc töôùi saïch khoûi löông taâm xaáu, thaân theå röûa baèng nöôùc trong, maø ñeán gaàn Chuùa.

10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)

10:23 Haõy caàm giöõ söï laøm chöùng veà ñieàu troâng caäy chuùng ta chaúng chuyeån lay, vì Ñaáng ñaõ höùa cuøng chuùng ta laø thaønh tín.

10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love (o. agape) and to good works:

10:24 Ai naáy haõy coi soùc nhau ñeå khuyeân giuïc veà loøng yeâu thöông vaø vieäc toát laønh;

10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as all of you see the day approaching.

10:25 chôù boû qua söï nhoùm laïi nhö maáy keû quen laøm, nhöng phaûi khuyeân baûo nhau, vaø heã anh em thaáy ngaøy aáy haàu gaàn chöøng naøo, thì caøng phaûi laøm nhö vaäy chöøng naáy.

10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,

10:26 Vì neáu chuùng ta ñaõ nhaän bieát leõ thaät roài, maø laïi coá yù phaïm toäi, thì khoâng coøn coù teá leã chuoäc toäi nöõa,

10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.

10:27 nhöng chæ coù söï ñôïi chôø kinh khieáp veà söï phaùn xeùt, vaø löûa höøng seõ ñoát chaùy keû boäi nghòch maø thoâi.

10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

10:28 Ai ñaõ phaïm luaät phaùp Moâi-se, neáu coù hai ba ngöôøi laøm chöùng, thì cheát ñi khoâng thöông xoùt,

10:29 Of how much greater punishment, suppose all of you, shall he be thought worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done despite unto the Spirit (o. pneuma) of grace?

10:29 huoáng chi keû giaøy ñaïp Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coi huyeát cuûa giao öôùc, töùc laø huyeát maø mình nhôø neân thaùnh, laø oâ ueá, laïi khinh lôøn Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh ban ôn, thì anh em haù chaúng töôûng raèng ngöôøi aáy ñaùng bò hình raát nghieâm ñoaùn phaït hay sao?

10:30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense, says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.

10:30 Vì chuùng ta bieát Ñaáng ñaõ phaùn raèng: Söï traû thuø thuoäc veà ta; ta seõ baùo öùng, aáy laø lôøi Chuùa phaùn. Laïi raèng: Chuùa seõ xeùt ñoaùn daân mình.

10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.

10:31 Sa vaøo tay Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng laø söï ñaùng kinh khieáp thay!

10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after all of you were illuminated, all of you endured a great fight of afflictions;

10:32 Haõy nhôù laïi nhöõng luùc ban ñaàu ñoù, anh em ñaõ ñöôïc soi saùng roài, beøn chòu côn chieán traän lôùn veà nhöõng söï ñau ñôùn:

10:33 Partly, whilst all of you were made a gazing-stock both by reproaches and afflictions; and partly, whilst all of you became companions of them that were so used.

10:33 phaàn thì chòu sæ nhuïc, gaëp gian nan, nhö laøm troø cho thieân haï xem, phaàn thì chia khoå vôùi nhöõng keû bò ñoái ñaõi ñoàng moät caùch.

10:34 For all of you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that all of you have in heaven a better and an enduring substance.

10:34 Vì anh em ñaõ thöông xoùt keû bò tuø, vaø vui loøng chòu cuûa caûi mình bò cöôùp, bôûi bieát mình coù cuûa caûi quí hôn haèng coøn luoân.

10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompence of reward.

10:35 Vaäy chôù boû loøng daïn dó mình, voán coù moät phaàn thöôûng lôùn ñaõ ñeå daønh cho.

10:36 For all of you have need of patience, that, after all of you have done the will of God, all of you might receive the promise.

10:36 Vì anh em caàn phaûi nhòn nhuïc, haàu cho khi ñaõ laøm theo yù muoán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi roài, thì ñöôïc nhö lôøi ñaõ höùa cho mình.

10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will not tarry.

10:37 Coøn ít laâu, thaät ít laâu nöõa, Thì Ñaáng ñeán seõ ñeán; Ngaøi khoâng chaäm treã ñaâu.

10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul shall have no pleasure in him.

10:38 Ngöôøi coâng bình cuûa ta seõ caäy ñöùc tin maø soáng, Nhöng neáu lui ñi thì linh hoàn ta chaúng laáy laøm ñeïp chuùt naøo.

10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that believe to the saving of the soul.

10:39 Veà phaàn chuùng ta, naøo phaûi laø keû lui ñi cho hö maát ñaâu, beøn laø keû giöõ ñöùc tin cho linh hoàn ñöôïc cöùu roãi.

11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.

11:1 Vaû, ñöùc tin laø söï bieát chaéc vöõng vaøng cuûa nhöõng ñieàu mình ñöông troâng mong laø baèng côù cuûa nhöõng ñieàu mình chaúng xem thaáy.

11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.

11:2 Aáy laø nhôø ñöùc tin maø caùc ñaáng thuôû xöa ñaõ ñöôïc lôøi chöùng toát.

11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word (o. rhema) of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

11:3 Bôûi ñöùc tin, chuùng ta bieát raèng theá gian ñaõ laøm neân bôûi lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñeán noãi nhöõng vaät baøy ra ñoù ñeàu chaúng phaûi töø vaät thaáy ñöôïc maø ñeán.

11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being dead yet speaks.

11:4 Bôûi ñöùc tin, A-beân ñaõ daâng cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi moät teá leã toát hôn cuûa Ca-in, vaø ñöôïc xöng coâng bình, vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm chöùng veà ngöôøi raèng Ngaøi nhaäm leã vaät aáy; laïi cuõng nhôø ñoù daàu ngöôøi cheát roài, haõy coøn noùi.

11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.

11:5 Bôûi ñöùc tin, Heâ-noùc ñöôïc caát leân vaø khoâng heà thaáy söï cheát; ngöôøi ta khoâng thaáy ngöôøi nöõa, vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ tieáp ngöôøi leân. Bôûi chöng tröôùc khi ñöôïc tieáp leân, ngöôøi ñaõ ñöôïc chöùng raèng mình ôû vöøa loøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi roài.

11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

11:6 Vaû, khoâng coù ñöùc tin, thì chaúng heà coù theá naøo ôû cho ñeïp yù Ngaøi; vì keû ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaûi tin raèng coù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø Ngaøi laø Ñaáng hay thöôûng cho keû tìm kieám Ngaøi.

11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.

11:7 Bôûi ñöùc tin, Noâ-eâ ñöôïc Chuùa maùch baûo cho veà nhöõng vieäc chöa thaáy, vaø ngöôøi thaønh taâm kính sôï, ñoùng moät chieác taøu ñeå cöùu nhaø mình; bôûi ñoù ngöôøi ñònh toäi theá gian, vaø trôû neân keû keá töï cuûa söï coâng bình ñeán töø ñöùc tin vaäy.

11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing where he went.

11:8 Bôûi ñöùc tin, Aùp-ra-ham vaâng lôøi Chuùa goïi, ñi ñeán xöù mình seõ nhaän laøm cô nghieäp: ngöôøi ñi maø khoâng bieát mình ñi ñaâu.

11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country, dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise:

11:9 Bôûi ñöùc tin, ngöôøi kieàu nguï trong xöù ñaõ höùa cho mình, nhö treân ñaát ngoaïi quoác, ôû trong caùc traïi, cuõng nhö Y-saùc vaø Gia-coáp, laø keû ñoàng keá töï moät lôøi höùa vôùi ngöôøi.

11:10 For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker is God.

11:10 Vì ngöôøi chôø ñôïi moät thaønh coù neàn vöõng chaéc, maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ xaây caát vaø saùng laäp.

11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed, and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful who had promised.

11:11 Cuõng bôûi ñöùc tin maø Sa-ra daãu coù tuoåi coøn coù söùc sanh con caùi ñöôïc, vì ngöôøi tin raèng Ñaáng höùa cho mình ñieàu ñoù laø thaønh tín.

11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them far off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.

11:13 Heát thaûy nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù ñeàu cheát trong ñöùc tin, chöa nhaän laõnh nhöõng ñieàu höùa cho mình; chæn troâng thaáy vaø chaøo möøng nhöõng ñieàu ñoù töø ñaèng xa, xöng mình laø keû khaùch vaø boä haønh treân ñaát.

11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,

11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents, because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's commandment.

11:23 Bôûi ñöùc tin, khi Moâi-se môùi sanh ra, cha meï ngöôøi ñem giaáu ñi ba thaùng, vì thaáy laø moät ñöùa con xinh toát, khoâng sôï chieáu maïng cuûa vua.

11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon, and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and of the prophets:

11:32 Ta coøn noùi chi nöõa? Vì neáu ta muoán noùi veà Gheâ-ñeâ-oân, Ba-raùc, Sam-soân, Gieùp-theâ, Ña-vít, Sa-mu-eân vaø caùc ñaáng tieân tri, thì khoâng ñuû thì giôø.

12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,

12:1 Theá thì, vì chuùng ta ñöôïc nhieàu ngöôøi chöùng kieán vaây laáy nhö ñaùm maây raát lôùn, chuùng ta cuõng neân quaêng heát gaùnh naëng vaø toäi loãi deã vaán vöông ta, laáy loøng nhòn nhuïc theo ñoøi cuoäc chaïy ñua ñaõ baøy ra cho ta,

12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.

12:2 nhìn xem Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laø coäi reã vaø cuoái cuøng cuûa ñöùc tin, töùc laø Ñaáng vì söï vui möøng ñaõ ñaët tröôùc maët mình, chòu laáy thaäp töï giaù, khinh ñieàu sæ nhuïc, vaø hieän nay ngoài beân höõu ngai Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against himself, lest all of you be wearied and faint in your minds.

12:3 Vaäy, anh em haõy nghó ñeán Ñaáng ñaõ chòu söï ñoái nghòch cuûa keû toäi loãi döôøng aáy, haàu cho khoûi bò moûi meät sôøn loøng.

12:4 All of you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.

12:4 Anh em choáng traû vôùi toäi aùc coøn chöa ñeán moãi ñoå huyeát;

12:5 And all of you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you as unto children, My son, despise not you the chastening of the Lord, nor faint when you are rebuked of him:

12:5 laïi ñaõ queân lôøi khuyeân anh em nhö khuyeân con, raèng: Hôõi con, chôù deå ngöôi söï söûa phaït cuûa Chuùa, Vaø khi Chuùa traùch, chôù ngaõ loøng;

12:6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he receives.

12:6 Vì Chuùa söûa phaït keû Ngaøi yeâu, Heã ai maø Ngaøi nhaän laøm con, thì cho roi cho voït.

12:7 If all of you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for what son is he whom the father chastens not?

12:7 Ví baèng anh em chòu söûa phaït, aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõi anh em nhö con, vì coù ngöôøi naøo laø con maø cha khoâng söûa phaït?

12:8 But if all of you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers, then are all of you bastards, and not sons.

12:8 nhöng neáu anh em ñöôïc khoûi söï söûa phaït maø ai naáy cuõng phaûi chòu, thì anh em laø con ngoaïi tình, chôù khoâng phaûi con thaät.

12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, (o. pneuma) and live?

12:9 Cha veà phaàn xaùc söûa phaït, maø chuùng ta coøn kính sôï thay, huoáng chi Cha veà phaàn hoàn, chuùng ta haù chaúng caøng neân vaâng phuïc laém ñeå ñöôïc söï soáng sao?

12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.

12:10 Vaû, cha veà phaàn xaùc theo yù mình maø söûa phaït chuùng ta taïm thôøi, nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vì ích cho chuùng ta maø söûa phaït, ñeå khieán chuùng ta ñöôïc döï phaàn trong söï thaùnh khieát Ngaøi.

12:11 Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.

12:11 Thaät caùc söï söûa phaït luùc ñaàu coi nhö moät côù buoàn baõ, chôù khoâng phaûi söï vui möøng; nhöng veà sau sanh ra boâng traùi coâng bình vaø bình an cho nhöõng keû ñaõ chòu luyeän taäp nhö vaäy.

12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;

12:12 Vaäy, haõy dôû baøn tay yeáu ñuoái cuûa anh em leân, luoân caû ñaàu goái loûng leûo nöõa.

12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.

12:13 Khaù laøm ñöôøng thaúng cho chôn anh em theo, haàu cho keû naøo queø khoûi laïc ñöôøng maø laïi ñöôïc chöõa laønh nöõa.

12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord:

12:14 Haõy caàu söï bình an vôùi moïi ngöôøi, cuøng tìm theo söï neân thaùnh, vì neáu khoâng neân thaùnh thì chaúng ai ñöôïc thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;

12:15 Khaù coi chöøng keûo coù keû traät phaàn aân ñieån cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, keûo reã ñaéng chaâm ra, coù theå ngaên trôû vaø laøm oâ ueá phaàn nhieàu trong anh em chaêng.

12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one morsel of food sold his birthright.

12:16 Haõy coi chöøng, trong anh em chôù coù ai gian daâm, cuõng ñöøng coù ai khinh lôøn nhö EÂ-sau, chæ vì moät moùn aên maø baùn quyeàn con tröôûng.

12:17 For all of you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he sought it carefully with tears.

12:17 Thaät vaäy, anh em bieát raèng ñeán sau, ngöôøi muoán cha mình chuùc phöôùc cho, thì laïi bò boû; vì daãu ngöôøi khoùc loùc caàu xin, cuõng chaúng ñoåi ñöôïc yù cha mình ñaõ ñònh roài.

12:18 For all of you are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,

12:18 Anh em chaúng tôùi gaàn moät hoøn nuùi maø ngöôøi ta coù theå rôø ñeán ñöôïc, cuõng chaúng ñeán gaàn löûa höøng, hoaëc toái taêm, hoaëc aâm eá, hoaëc gioù döõ,

12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; (o. rhema) which voice they that heard implored that the word (o. logos) should not be spoken to them any more:

12:19 hoaëc tieáng loa thoåi vang, hoaëc tieáng noùi kinh khieáp ñeán noãi ai nghe ñeàu naøi xin ñöøng noùi vôùi mình nöõa;

12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a dart:

12:20 vì hoï khoâng chòu noåi lôøi phaùn naày: Daãu loaøi thuù vaät tôùi gaàn nuùi naày cuõng seõ bò neùm ñaù.

12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear and quake:)

12:21 Laïi caûnh traïng ñoù raát kinh khieáp, ñeán noãi Moâi-se noùi raèng: Ta thaät sôï seät vaø run raåy caû ngöôøi.

12:22 But all of you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

12:22 Nhöng anh em ñaõ tôùi gaàn nuùi Si-oân, gaàn thaønh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng, töùc laø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem treân trôøi, gaàn muoân vaøn thieân söù nhoùm laïi,

12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits (o. pneuma) of just men made perfect,

12:23 gaàn Hoäi thaùnh cuûa nhöõng con tröôûng ñöôïc ghi teân trong caùc töøng trôøi, gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø quan aùn cuûa moïi ngöôøi, gaàn caùc linh hoàn ngöôøi nghóa ñöôïc veïn laønh,

12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of sprinkling, that speaks better things that that of Abel.

12:24 gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laø Ñaáng trung baûo cuûa giao öôùc môùi, vaø gaàn huyeát röôùi ra, huyeát ñoù noùi toát hôn huyeát cuûa A-beân vaäy.

12:25 See that all of you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we turn away from him that speaks from heaven:

12:25 Anh em haõy giöõ, chôù töø choái Ñaáng phaùn cuøng mình; vì neáu nhöõng keû kia cöï Ñaáng truyeàn lôøi baùo caùo ôû döôùi ñaát, coøn khoâng traùnh khoûi thay, huoáng chi chuùng ta, neáu cöï Ñaáng truyeàn lôøi baùo caùo töø treân trôøi, thì caøng khoâng traùnh khoûi ñöôïc.

12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying, Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.

12:26 Tieáng Ñaáng aáy baây giôø ruùng ñoäng caû ñaát, hieän nay phaùn höùa raèng: Coøn moät laàn nöõa, ta seõ chaúng nhöõng ruùng ñoäng ñaát maø thoâi, nhöõng cuõng ruùng ñoäng trôøi nöõa.

12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot be shaken may remain.

12:27 Vaø, trong nhöõng chöõ: Coøn moät laàn nöõa, toû ra raèng caùc vaät hay bò ruùng ñoäng, vì laø nhöõng vaät ñaõ chòu döïng neân, seõ bò caát ñi, haàu cho nhöõng vaät khoâng heà ruùng ñoäng ñöôïc coøn laïi.

12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:

12:28 Nhö vaäy, vì chuùng ta coù phaàn trong moät nöôùc khoâng hay ruùng ñoäng, neân haõy caûm ôn, haàu cho laáy loøng kính sôï haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi moät caùch ñeïp loøng Ngaøi;
