 Ma thi o - Matthew

16:1 The Pharisees also with the Sadducees came, and tempting desired him that he would show them a sign from heaven.

16:1 Nhöõng ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø Sa-ñu-seâ ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, coù yù thöû Ngaøi, thì xin laøm cho xem moät daáu laï töø treân trôøi xuoáng.

16:2 He answered and said unto them, When it is evening, all of you say, It will be fair weather: for the sky is red.

16:2 Nhöng Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Khi chieàu toái ñeán, thì caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: seõ toát trôøi, vì trôøi ñoû.

16:3 And in the morning, It will be foul weather to day: for the sky is red and lowering. O all of you hypocrites, all of you can discern the face of the sky; but can all of you not discern the signs of the times?

16:3 Coøn sôùm mai, thì caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Hoâm nay seõ coù côn doâng, vì trôøi ñoû vaø môø môø. Caùc ngöôi ngöôøi bieát phaân bieät roõ saéc trôøi, maø khoâng phaân bieät ñöôïc daáu chæ thì giôø ö!

16:4 A wicked and adulterous generation seeks after a sign; and there shall no sign be given unto it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas. And he left them, and departed.

16:4 Doøng doõi hung aùc gian daâm naày xin moät daáu laï; nhöng seõ chaúng cho daáu laï chi khaùc ngoaøi daáu laï cuûa ñaáng tieân tri Gioâ-na. Roài Ngaøi boû hoï maø ñi.

16:5 And when his disciples were come to the other side, they had forgotten to take bread.

16:5 Khi moân ñoà ñi ñeán bôø beân kia, queân ñem baùnh theo.

16:6 Then Jesus said unto them, Take heed and beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

16:6 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Haõy giöõ mình caån thaän veà men cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø Sa-ñu-seâ.

16:7 And they reasoned among themselves, saying, It is because we have taken no bread.

16:7 Moân ñoà suy nghó vaø luaän cuøng nhau raèng: Ñaây laø vì chuùng ta khoâng ñem baùnh theo.

16:8 Which when Jesus perceived, he said unto them, O all of you of little faith, why reason all of you among yourselves, because all of you have brought no bread?

16:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát ñieàu ñoù, thì phaùn raèng: Hôõi keû ít ñöùc tin, sao caùc ngöôi töôûng raèng aáy laø vì côù caùc ngöôi khoâng coù baùnh?

16:9 Do all of you not yet understand, neither remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets all of you took up?

16:9 Caùc ngöôi haù chöa hieåu, cuõng khoâng nhôù naêm caùi baùnh cho naêm ngaøn ngöôøi, vaø caùc ngöôi löôïm ñöôïc maáy gioû ñaày baùnh thöøa sao?

16:10 Neither the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many baskets all of you took up?

16:10 Laïi haù khoâng nhôù baûy caùi baùnh cho boán ngaøn ngöôøi, vaø caùc ngöôøi löôïm ñöôïc bao nhieâu gioû ñaày baùnh thöøa sao?

16:11 How is it that all of you do not understand that I spoke it not to you concerning bread, that all of you should beware of the leaven of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees?

16:11 Caùc ngöôi sao chaúng hieåu raèng khoâng phaûi veà baùnh maø ta muoán noùi ñaâu? nhöng haõy giöõ mình veà men cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø Sa-ñu-seâ.

16:12 Then understood they how that he bade them not beware of the leaven of bread, but of the doctrine of the Pharisees and of the Sadducees.

16:12 Baáy giôø moân ñoà môùi hieåu raèng Ngaøi chaúng baûo giöõ mình veà men laøm baùnh, nhöng veà ñaïo cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø Sa-ñu-seâ.

16:13 When Jesus came into the coasts of Caesarea Philippi, he asked his disciples, saying, Whom do men say that I the Son of man am?

16:13 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ vaøo ñòa phaän thaønh Seâ-sa-reâ Phi-líp, beøn hoûi moân ñoà, maø raèng: Theo lôøi ngöôøi ta noùi thì Con ngöôøi laø ai?

16:14 And they said, Some say that you are John the Baptist: some, Elijah; and others, Jeremias, or one of the prophets.

16:14 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Ngöôøi noùi laø Giaêng Baùp-tít; keû noùi laø EÂ-li; keû khaùc laïi noùi laø Gieâ-reâ-mi, hay laø moät ñaáng tieân tri naøo ñoù.

16:15 He says unto them, But whom say all of you that I am?

16:15 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Coøn caùc ngöôøi thì xöng ta laø ai?

16:16 And Simon Peter answered and said, You are the Christ, the Son of the living God.

16:16 Si-moân Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Chuùa laø Ñaáng Christ, con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng.

16:17 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed are you, Simon Barjona: for flesh and blood has not revealed it unto you, but my Father which is in heaven.

16:17 Baáy giôø, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi Si-moân, con Gioâ-na, ngöôi coù phöôùc ñoù; vì chaúng phaûi thòt vaø huyeát toû cho ngöôi bieát ñieàu naày ñaâu, beøn laø Cha ta ôû treân trôøi vaäy.

16:18 And I say also unto you, That you are Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.

16:18 Coøn ta, ta baûo ngöôi raèng: Ngöôi laø Phi -e-rô, ta seõ laäp Hoäi thaùnh ta treân ñaù naày, caùc cöûa aâm phuû chaúng thaéng ñöôïc hoäi ñoù.

16:19 And I will give unto you the keys of the kingdom of heaven: and whatsoever you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

16:19 Ta seõ giao chìa khoùa nöôùc thieân ñaøng cho ngöôi; heã ñieàu gì maø ngöôi buoäc döôùi ñaát, thì cuõng seõ buoäc ôû treân trôøi, vaø ñieàu gì maø ngöôi môû döôùi ñaát, thì cuõng seõ môû ôû treân trôøi.

16:20 Then charged he his disciples that they should tell no man that he was Jesus the Christ.

16:20 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi caám moân ñoà ñöøng noùi cho ai bieát raèng Ngaøi, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laø Ñaáng Christ.

16:21 From that time forth began Jesus to show unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.

16:21 Töø ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus môùi toû cho moân ñoà bieát raèng mình phaûi ñi ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, phaûi chòu taïi ñoù nhieàu söï khoán khoå bôûi nhöõng ngöôøi tröôûng laõo, thaày teá leã caû, cuøng thaày thoâng giaùo, vaø phaûi bò gieát, ñeán ngaøy thöù ba phaûi soáng laïi.

16:22 Then Peter took him, and began to rebuke him, saying, Be it far from you, Lord: this shall not be unto you.

16:22 Phi -e-rô beøn ñem Ngaøi rieâng ra, maø can raèng: Hôõi Chuùa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi naøo nôõ vaäy! Söï ñoù seõ khoâng xaûy ñeán cho Chuùa ñaâu!

16:23 But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get you behind me, Satan: you are an offence unto me: for you savour not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

16:23 Nhöng Ngaøi xaây maët laïi maø phaùn cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: ÔÙ Sa-tan, haõy lui ra ñaèng sau ta! Ngöôi laøm göông xaáu cho ta; vì ngöôi chaúng nghó ñeán vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, song nghó ñeán vieäc ngöôøi ta.

16:24 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me.

16:24 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Neáu ai muoán theo ta, thì phaûi lieàu mình, vaùc thaäp töï giaù mình maø theo ta.

16:25 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it.

16:25 Vì ai muoán cöùu söï soáng mình thì seõ maát, coøn ai vì côù ta maø maát söï soáng mình thì seõ ñöôïc laïi.

16:26 For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

16:26 Ngöôøi naøo neáu ñöôïc caû thieân haï maø maát linh hoàn mình, thì coù ích gì? Vaäy thì ngöôøi laáy chi maø ñoåi linh hoàn mình laïi?

16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

16:27 Vì Con ngöôøi seõ ngöï trong söï vinh hieån cuûa Cha mình maø giaùng xuoáng cuøng caùc thieân söù, luùc ñoù, Ngaøi seõ thöôûng cho töøng ngöôøi, tuøy vieäc hoï laøm.

16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

16:28 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong caùc ngöôi ñöùng ñaây, coù moät vaøi keû seõ khoâng cheát tröôùc khi thaáy con ngöôøi ngöï ñeán trong nöôùc Ngaøi.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

17:1 And after six days Jesus takes Peter, James, and John his brother, and brings them up into an high mountain apart,

17:1 Khoûi saùu ngaøy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñem Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô, vaø Giaêng laø em Gia-cô, cuøng Ngaøi ñi teû leân nuùi cao.

17:2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

17:2 Ngaøi bieán hoùa tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi aáy maët Ngaøi saùng loøa nhö maët trôøi, aùo Ngaøi traéng nhö aùnh saùng.

17:3 And, behold, there appeared unto them Moses and Elijah talking with him.

17:3 Naày, coù Moâi-se vaø EÂ-li hieän ñeán, noùi chuyeän cuøng Ngaøi.

17:4 Then answered Peter, and said unto Jesus, Lord, it is good for us to be here: if you will, let us make here three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah.

17:4 Phi -e-rô beøn caát tieáng thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy Chuùa, chuùng ta ôû laïi ñaây thì toát laém; ví baèng ñeïp yù Chuùa, thì toâi seõ ñoùng ba traïi taïi ñaây, moät caùi cho Chuùa, moät caùi cho Moâi-se vaø moät caùi cho EÂ-li.

17:5 While he yet spoke, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold a voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased; hear all of you him.

17:5 Ñang khi ngöôøi coøn noùi, boãng chuùc coù moät ñaùm maây saùng röïc che phuû nhöõng ngöôøi ôû ñoù; vaø coù tieáng töø trong maây phaùn raèng: Naày laø Con yeâu daáu cuûa ta, ñeïp loøng ta moïi ñöôøng; haõy nghe lôøi Con ñoù!

17:6 And when the disciples heard it, they fell on their face, and were sore afraid.

17:6 Khi moân ñoà nghe tieáng aáy, thì teù saáp maët xuoáng ñaát, vaø sôï haõi laém.

17:7 And Jesus came and touched them, and said, Arise, and be not afraid.

17:7 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi gaàn, rôø moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Haõy ñöùng daäy, ñöøng sôï!

17:8 And when they had lifted up their eyes, they saw no man, save Jesus only.

17:8 Moân ñoà beøn ngöûa maët leân, thì chæ thaáy moät mình Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø thoâi.

17:9 And as they came down from the mountain, Jesus charged them, saying, Tell the vision to no man, until the Son of man be risen again from the dead.

17:9 Ñang khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ôû treân nuùi xuoáng, thì Ngaøi ra lònh caám raèng: Söï caùc ngöôi ñaõ thaáy chôù thuaät laïi cuøng ai, cho ñeán khi Con ngöôøi töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

17:10 And his disciples asked him, saying, Why then say the scribes that Elijah must first come?

17:10 Moân ñoà hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Vaäy thì sao caùc thaày thoâng giaùo noùi raèng EÂ-li phaûi ñeán tröôùc?

17:11 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Elijah truly shall first come, and restore all things.

17:11 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät EÂ-li phaûi ñeán maø söûa laïi moïi vieäc.

17:12 But I say unto you, That Elijah has come already, and they knew him not, but have done unto him whatsoever they listed. Likewise shall also the Son of man suffer of them.

17:12 Nhöng ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng: EÂ-li ñaõ ñeán roài, vaø ngöôøi ta khoâng nhaän bieát, song hoï laïi xöû vôùi ngöôøi theo yù muoán mình; Con ngöôøi phaûi chòu khoán khoå bôûi hoï cuõng nhö vaäy.

17:13 Then the disciples understood that he spoke unto them of John the Baptist.

17:13 Moân ñoà beøn hieåu raèng Ngaøi noùi ñoù laø noùi veà Giaêng Baùp-tít.

17:14 And when they were come to the multitude, there came to him a certain man, kneeling down to him, and saying,

17:14 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ñaõ trôû laïi cuøng ñoaøn daân, thì coù moät ngöôøi ñeán gaàn, quì tröôùc maët Ngaøi,

17:15 Lord, have mercy on my son: for he is lunatic, and sore vexed: for frequently he falls into the fire, and often into the water.

17:15 maø thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin Chuùa thöông ñeán con trai toâi! vì noù maéc beänh phong ñieân, phaûi chòu ñau ñôùn quaù; thöôøng khi teù vaøo löûa, vaø teù xuoáng nöôùc.

17:16 And I brought him to your disciples, and they could not cure him.

17:16 Toâi ñaõ ñem noù cho moân ñoà Chuùa, nhöng chöõa khoâng ñöôïc.

17:17 Then Jesus answered and said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him here to me.

17:18 And Jesus rebuked the devil; and he departed out of him: and the child was cured from that very hour.

17:18 Roài Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus quôû traùch quæ, quæ lieàn ra khoûi ñöùa treû, vaø töø giôø ñoù ñöùa treû ñöôïc laønh.

17:19 Then came the disciples to Jesus apart, and said, Why could not we cast him out?

17:19 Moân ñoà beøn ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø hoûi rieâng raèng: Vì côù gì chuùng toâi khoâng ñuoåi quæ aáy ñöôïc?

17:20 And Jesus said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If all of you have faith as a grain of mustard seed, all of you shall say unto this mountain, Remove behind to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

17:20 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Aáy laø taïi caùc ngöôi ít ñöùc tin: vì ta noùi thaät cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu caùc ngöôi coù ñöùc tin baèng moät hoät caûi, seõ khieán nuùi naày raèng: Haõy dôøi ñaây qua ñoù, thì noù lieàn dôøi qua, vaø khoâng coù söï gì maø caùc ngöôi chaúng laøm ñöôïc.

17:21 Nevertheless this kind goes not out but by prayer and fasting.

17:21 Nhöng thöù quæ naày neáu khoâng caàu nguyeän vaø khoâng kieâng aên thì chaúng tröø noù ñöôïc.

17:22 And while they abode in Galilee, Jesus said unto them, The Son of man shall be betrayed into the hands of men:

17:22 Ñang khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà traûi qua trong xöù Ga-li-leâ, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp trong tay ngöôøi ta.

17:23 And they shall kill him, and the third day he shall be raised again. And they were exceeding sorry.

17:23 Hoï seõ gieát Ngaøi, nhöng ñeán ngaøy thöù ba Ngaøi seõ soáng laïi. Caùc moân ñoà beøn lo buoàn laém.

17:24 And when they were come to Capernaum, they that received tribute money came to Peter, and said, Does not your master pay tribute?

17:24 Khi ñaõ ñeán thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um, nhöõng ngöôøi thaâu thueá cuûa ñeàn thôø ñeán hoûi Phi -e-rô raèng: Thaày ngöôi coù noäp tieàn thueá chaêng?

17:25 He says, Yes. And when he was come into the house, Jesus prevented him, saying, What think you, Simon? of whom do the kings of the earth take custom or tribute? of their own children, or of strangers?

17:26 Peter says unto him, Of strangers. Jesus says unto him, Then are the children free.

17:26 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Ngöôøi ngoaøi. Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Vaäy thì caùc con trai ñöôïc mieãn thueá!

17:27 Notwithstanding, lest we should offend them, go you to the sea, and cast an hook, and take up the fish that first comes up; and when you have opened his mouth, you shall find a piece of money: that take, and give unto them for me and you.

17:27 Song le, ñeå chuùng ta khoûi laøm göông xaáu cho hoï, thì ngöôi haõy ra bieån caâu caù, baét laáy con caù naøo dính caâu tröôùc heát, banh mieäng noù ra, seõ thaáy moät ñoàng baïc ôû trong. Haõy laáy ñoàng baïc ñoù, vaø ñem noäp thueá cho ta vôùi ngöôi.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

18:1 At the same time came the disciples unto Jesus, saying, Who is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?

18:1 Trong luùc ñoù, moân ñoà laïi gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø hoûi raèng: Ai laø lôùn hôn heát trong nöôùc thieân ñaøng?

18:2 And Jesus called a little child unto him, and set him in the midst of them,

18:2 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus goïi moät ñöùa treû ñeán, ñeå ôû giöõa moân ñoà,

18:3 And said, Verily I say unto you, Except all of you be converted, and become as little children, all of you shall not enter into the kingdom of heaven.

18:3 maø phaùn raèng: quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu caùc ngöôi khoâng ñoåi laïi vaø neân nhö ñöùa treû, thì chaúng ñöôïc vaøo nöôùc thieân ñaøng ñaâu.

18:4 Whosoever therefore shall humble himself as this little child, the same is greatest in the kingdom of heaven.

18:4 Vaäy, heã ai trôû neân khieâm nhöôøng nhö ñöùa treû naày, seõ laø lôùn hôn heát trong nöôùc thieân ñaøng.

18:5 And whoso shall receive one such little child in my name receives me.

18:5 Heã ai vì danh ta chòu tieáp moät ñöùa treû theå naày, töùc laø chòu tieáp ta.

18:6 But whoso shall offend one of these little ones which believe in me, it were better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and that he were drowned in the depth of the sea.

18:6 Song, neáu ai laøm cho moät ñöùa trong nhöõng ñöùa nhoû naày ñaõ tin ta sa vaøo toäi loãi, thì thaø buoäc coái ñaù vaøo coå, maø quaêng noù xuoáng ñaùy bieån coøn hôn.

18:7 Woe unto the world because of offences! for it must essentially be that offences come; but woe to that man by whom the offence comes!

18:7 Khoán naïn cho theá gian vì söï gaây neân phaïm toäi! Vì söï gaây neân phaïm toäi phaûi coù; song khoán naïn thay cho ai laø keû gaây neân phaïm toäi!

18:8 Wherefore if your hand or your foot offend you, cut them off, and cast them from you: it is better for you to enter into life halt or physically disabled, rather than having two hands or two feet to be cast into everlasting fire.

18:8 Neáu tay hay laø chôn ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi sa vaøo toäi loãi, haõy chaët vaø neùm noù cho xa ngöôi ñi; vì thaø ngöôi queø chôn hay laø cuït tay maø vaøo nôi haèng soáng, coøn hôn laø ñuû caû hai tay hay laø hai chôn maø bò quaêng vaøo löûa ñôøi ñôøi.

18:9 And if yours eye offend you, pluck it out, and cast it from you: it is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire.

18:9 Neáu con maét ngöôi laøm cho ngöôi sa vaøo toäi loãi, thì haõy moùc maø neùm cho xa ngöôi ñi; vì thaø ngöôi moät maét maø vaøo nôi haèng soáng, coøn hôn laø ñuû hai maét maø bò quaêng vaøo löûa ñòa nguïc.

18:10 Take heed that all of you despise not one of these little ones; for I say unto you, That in heaven their angels do always behold the face of my Father which is in heaven.

18:10 Haõy giöõ mình ñöøng khinh deå moät ñöùa naøo trong nhöõng ñöùa treû naày; vì ta baûo caùc ngöôi, caùc thieân söù cuûa chuùng noù treân trôøi thöôøng thaáy maët Cha ta, laø Ñaáng ôû treân trôøi.

18:11 For the Son of man has come to save that which was lost.

18:11 Vì Con ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán cöùu söï ñaõ maát.

18:12 How think all of you? if a man have an hundred sheep, and one of them be gone astray, does he not leave the ninety and nine, and goes into the mountains, and seeks that which is gone astray?

18:12 Caùc ngöôi töôûng theá naøo? neáu ngöôøi naøo coù moät traêm con chieân, moät con bò laïc maát ñi, thì haù chaúng ñeå chín möôi chín con laïi treân nuùi, maø ñi kieám con ñaõ laïc maát sao?

18:13 And if so be that he find it, verily I say unto you, he rejoices more of that sheep, than of the ninety and nine which went not astray.

18:13 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu ngöôøi kieám laïi ñöôïc, thì laáy laøm vui möøng veà con ñoù hôn chín möôi chín con khoâng laïc.

18:14 Even so it is not the will of your Father which is in heaven, that one of these little ones should perish.

18:14 Cuõng moät theå aáy, Cha caùc ngöôi ôû treân trôøi khoâng muoán cho moät ñöùa naøo trong nhöõng ñöùa treû naày phaûi hö maát.

18:15 Moreover if your brother shall trespass against you, go and tell him his fault between you and him alone: if he shall hear you, you have gained your brother.

18:15 Neáu anh em ngöôi phaïm toäi cuøng ngöôi, thì haõy traùch ngöôøi khi chæ coù ngöôi vôùi moät mình ngöôøi; nhö ngöôøi nghe lôøi, thì ngöôi ñöôïc anh em laïi.

18:16 But if he will not hear you, then take with you one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word (o. rhema) may be established.

18:16 Ví baèng khoâng nghe, haõy môøi moät hai ngöôøi ñi vôùi ngöôi, haàu cöù lôøi hai ba ngöôøi laøm chöùng maø moïi vieäc ñöôïc chaéc chaén.

18:17 And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church: but if he neglect to hear the church, let him be unto you as an heathen man and a publican.

18:17 Neáu ngöôøi khoâng chòu nghe caùc ngöôøi ñoù, thì haõy caùo cuøng Hoäi thaùnh, laïi neáu ngöôøi khoâng chòu nghe Hoäi thaùnh, thì haõy coi ngöôøi nhö keû ngoaïi vaø keû thaâu thueá vaäy.

18:18 Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever all of you shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever all of you shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven.

18:18 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, heã ñieàu gì maø caùc ngöôi buoäc ôû döôùi ñaát thì cuõng seõ buoäc ôû treân trôøi, vaø ñieàu gì maø caùc ngöôi môû ôû döôùi ñaát thì cuõng seõ môû ôû treân trôøi.

18:19 Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as concerning any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven.

18:19 Quaû thaät, ta laïi noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu hai ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi thuaän nhau ôû döôùi ñaát maø caàu xin khoâng cöù vieäc chi, thì Cha ta ôû treân trôøi seõ cho hoï.

18:20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

18:20 Vì nôi naøo coù hai ba ngöôøi nhôn danh ta nhoùm nhau laïi, thì ta ôû giöõa hoï.

18:21 Then came Peter to him, and said, Lord, how often shall my brother sin against me, and I forgive him? till seven times?

18:21 Phi -e-rô beøn ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø hoûi raèng: Thöa Chuùa, neáu anh em toâi phaïm toäi cuøng toâi, thì seõ tha cho hoï maáy laàn? Coù phaûi ñeán baûy laàn chaêng?

18:22 Jesus says unto him, I say not unto you, Until seven times: but, Until seventy times seven.

18:22 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Ta khoâng noùi cuøng ngöôi raèng: ñeán baûy laàn ñaâu, nhöng ñeán baûy möôi laàn baûy.

18:23 Therefore is the kingdom of heaven likened unto a certain king, which would take account (o. logos) of his servants.

18:23 Vaäy neân, nöôùc thieân ñaøng gioáng nhö vua kia, muoán tính soå vôùi caùc ñaày tôù mình.

18:24 And when he had begun to reckon, one was brought unto him, which owed him ten thousand talents.

18:24 Khi vua khôûi soaùt soå, thì coù ngöôøi ñem noäp moät teân kia maéc nôï vua moät vaïn ta-laâng.

18:25 But forasmuch as he had not to pay, his lord commanded him to be sold, and his wife, and children, and all that he had, and payment to be made.

18:25 Bôûi vì ngöôøi chaúng coù gì maø traû, thì chuû daïy baùn ngöôøi, vôï con vaø gia taøi ngöôøi, ñaëng traû nôï.

18:26 The servant therefore fell down, and worshipped him, saying, Lord, have patience with me, and I will pay you all.

18:26 Keû ñaày tôù naày beøn saáp mình xuoáng nôi chôn chuû maø xin raèng: Thöa chuû, xin giaõn cho toâi, thì toâi seõ traû heát!

18:27 Then the lord of that servant was moved with compassion, and loosed him, and forgave him the debt.

18:27 Chuû beøn ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt, thaû ngöôøi veà, vaø tha nôï cho.

18:28 But the same servant went out, and found one of his fellow servants, which owed him an hundred pence: and he laid hands on him, and took him by the throat, saying, Pay me that you owe.

18:29 And his fellow servant fell down at his feet, and besought him, saying, Have patience with me, and I will pay you all.

18:29 Ngöôøi baïn saáp mình xuoáng maø naøi xin raèng: Xin giaõn cho toâi, thì toâi seõ traû cho anh.

18:30 And he would not: but went and cast him into prison, till he should pay the debt.

18:30 Song ngöôøi chaúng khöùng, cöù vieäc baét boû tuø cho ñeán khi traû heát nôï.

18:31 So when his fellow servants saw what was done, they were very sorry, and came and told unto their lord all that was done.

18:31 Caùc baïn thaáy vaäy, buoàn laém, ñeán thuaät laïi cuøng chuû mình moïi ñieàu ñaõ xaûy ra.

18:32 Then his lord, after that he had called him, said unto him, O you wicked servant, I forgave you all that debt, because you desired me:

18:32 Chuû beøn ñoøi ñaày tôù aáy ñeán maø noùi raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù ñoäc aùc kia, ta ñaõ tha heát nôï cho ngöôi, vì ngöôi caàu xin ta;

18:33 Should not you also have had compassion on your fellow servant, even as I had pity on you?

18:33 ngöôi haù laïi chaúng neân thöông xoùt baïn laøm vieäc ngöôi nhö ta ñaõ thöông xoùt ngöôi sao?

18:34 And his lord was angry, and delivered him to the tormentors, till he should pay all that was due unto him.

18:34 Chuû noåi giaän, phuù noù cho keû giöõ nguïc cho ñeán khi naøo traû xong heát nôï.

18:35 So likewise shall my heavenly Father do also unto you, if all of you from your hearts forgive not every one his brother their trespasses.

18:35 Neáu moãi ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi khoâng heát loøng tha loãi cho anh em mình, thì Cha ta ôû treân trôøi cuõng seõ xöû vôùi caùc ngöôi nhö vaäy.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

19:1 And it came to pass, that when Jesus had finished these sayings, (o. logos) he departed from Galilee, and came into the coasts of Judaea beyond Jordan;

19:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn lôøi aáy xong roài, thì töø xöù Ga-li-leâ maø ñi ñeán bôø coõi xöù Giu-ñeâ, beân kia soâng Gioâ-danh.

19:2 And great multitudes followed him; and he healed them there.

19:2 Coù nhieàu ñoaøn daân ñoâng theo Ngaøi, vaø Ngaøi chöõa laønh caùc keû bònh ôû ñoù.

19:3 The Pharisees also came unto him, tempting him, and saying unto him, Is it lawful for a man to put away his wife for every cause?

19:3 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si beøn ñeán gaàn ñeå thöû Ngaøi, maø raèng: Khoâng cöù vì côù gì ngöôøi ta coù pheùp ñeå vôï mình chaêng?

19:4 And he answered and said unto them, Have all of you not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,

19:4 Ngaøi traû lôøi raèng: Caùc ngöôi haù chöa ñoïc lôøi cheùp veà Ñaáng Taïo Hoùa, hoài ban ñaàu, döïng neân moät ngöôøi nam, moät ngöôøi nöõ,

19:5 And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they two shall be one flesh?

19:5 vaø coù phaùn raèng: Vì côù ñoù ngöôøi nam seõ lìa cha meï, maø dính díu vôùi vôï mình; hai ngöôøi seõ cuøng neân moät thòt hay sao?

19:6 Wherefore they are no more two, but one flesh. What therefore God has joined together, let not man put asunder.

19:6 Theá thì, vôï choàng khoâng phaûi laø hai nöõa, nhöng moät thòt maø thoâi. Vaäy, loaøi ngöôøi khoâng neân phaân reõ nhöõng keû maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phoái hieäp!

19:7 They say unto him, Why did Moses then command to give a writing of divorcement, and to put her away?

19:7 Hoï laïi hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Vaäy chôù sao Moâi-se ñaõ daïy laäp tôø ñeå ñaëng ñeå vôï ñi?

19:8 He says unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.

19:8 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Vì côù loøng caùc ngöôi cöùng coûi, neân Moâi-se cho pheùp ñeå vôï; nhöng, luùc ban ñaàu khoâng coù nhö vaäy ñaâu.

19:9 And I say unto you, Whosoever shall put away his wife, except it be for fornication, and shall marry another, commits adultery: and whoso marries her which is put away does commit adultery.

19:9 Vaû, ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu ai ñeå vôï mình khoâng phaûi vì côù ngoaïi tình, vaø cöôùi vôï khaùc, thì ngöôøi aáy phaïm toäi taø daâm; vaø heã ai cöôùi ngöôøi bò ñeå, thì phaïm toäi ngoaïi tình.

19:10 His disciples say unto him, If the case of the man be so with his wife, it is not good to marry.

19:10 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: neáu phaän ngöôøi nam phaûi xöû vôùi vôï mình nhö vaäy thì thaø khoâng cöôùi vôï laø hôn.

19:11 But he said unto them, All men cannot receive this saying, (o. logos) save they to whom it is given.

19:11 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Chaúng phaûi moïi ngöôøi ñeàu coù theå laõnh ñöôïc lôøi naày, chæ ngöôøi saün coù ban cho nhö vaäy maø thoâi.

19:12 For there are some eunuchs, which were so born from their mother's womb: and there are some eunuchs, which were made eunuchs of men: and there be eunuchs, which have made themselves eunuchs for the kingdom of heaven's sake. He that is able to receive it, let him receive it.

19:12 Vì coù ngöôøi hoaïn töø trong loøng meï; coù ngöôøi hoaïn vì tay ngöôøi ta, vaø coù ngöôøi töï mình laøm neân hoaïn vì côù nöôùc thieân ñaøng. Ngöôøi naøo laõnh noåi lôøi aáy thì haõy laõnh laáy.

19:13 Then were there brought unto him little children, that he should put his hands on them, and pray: and the disciples rebuked them.

19:13 Khi aáy, ngöôøi ta ñem caùc con treû ñeán, ñaëng Ngaøi ñaët tay treân mình vaø caàu nguyeän cho chuùng noù; moân ñoà quôû traùch nhöõng ngöôøi ñem ñeán.

19:14 But Jesus said, Suffer little children, and forbid them not, to come unto me: for of such is the kingdom of heaven.

19:14 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy ñeå con treû ñeán cuøng ta, ñöøng ngaên trôû; vì nöôùc thieân ñaøng thuoäc veà nhöõng keû gioáng nhö con treû aáy.

19:15 And he laid his hands on them, and departed thence.

19:15 Ngaøi beøn ñaët tay treân chuùng noù, roài töø ñoù maø ñi.

19:16 And, behold, one came and said unto him, Good Master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?

19:16 Naày, coù moät ngöôøi ñeán hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Theo thaày, toâi phaûi laøm vieäc laønh chi cho ñöôïc söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi?

19:17 And he said unto him, Why call you me good? there is none good but one, that is, God: but if you will enter into life, keep the commandments.

19:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Sao ngöôi hoûi ta veà vieäc laønh? Chæ coù moät Ñaáng laønh maø thoâi. Neáu ngöôi muoán vaøo söï soáng, thì phaûi giöõ caùc ñieàu raên.

19:18 He says unto him, Which? Jesus said, You shall do no murder, You shall not commit adultery, You shall not steal, You shall not bear false witness,

19:18 Ngöôøi hoûi: Nhöõng ñieàu raên gì? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Nhöõng ñieàu raên naày: Ñöøng gieát ngöôøi; ñöøng phaïm toäi taø daâm; ñöøng aên troäm caép; ñöøng laøm chöùng doái;

19:19 Honour your father and your mother: and, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

19:19 Haõy thaûo kính cha meï; vaø: Haõy yeâu keû laân caän nhö mình.

19:20 The young man says unto him, All these things have I kept from my youth up: what lack I yet?

19:20 Ngöôøi treû ñoù thöa raèng: Toâi ñaõ giöõ ñuû caùc ñieàu naày; coøn thieáu chi cho toâi nöõa?

19:21 Jesus said unto him, If you will be perfect, go and sell that you have, and give to the poor, and you shall have treasure in heaven: and come and follow me.

19:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Neáu ngöôi muoán ñöôïc troïn veïn, haõy ñi baùn heát gia taøi maø boá thí cho keû ngheøo naøn, thì ngöôi seõ coù cuûa quí ôû treân trôøi; roài haõy ñeán maø theo ta.

19:22 But when the young man heard that saying, (o. logos) he went away sorrowful: for he had great possessions.

19:22 Nhöng khi ngöôøi treû nghe xong lôøi naày, thì ñi, boä buoàn böïc; vì chaøng coù cuûa caûi nhieàu laém.

19:23 Then said Jesus unto his disciples, Verily I say unto you, That a rich man shall hardly enter into the kingdom of heaven.

19:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi giaøu vaøo nöôùc thieân ñaøng laø khoù laém.

19:24 And again I say unto you, It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the kingdom of God.

19:24 Ta laïi noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, laïc ñaø chui qua loã kim coøn deã hôn moät ngöôøi giaøu vaøo nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

19:25 When his disciples heard it, they were exceedingly amazed, saying, Who then can be saved?

19:25 Moân ñoà nghe lôøi aáy, thì laáy laøm laï laém maø noùi raèng: Vaäy thì ai ñöôïc roãi?

19:26 But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.

19:26 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ngoù moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Ñieàu ñoù loaøi ngöôøi khoâng theå laøm ñöôïc, song Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm moïi vieäc ñeàu ñöôïc.

19:27 Then answered Peter and said unto him, Behold, we have forsaken all, and followed you; what shall we have therefore?

19:27 Phi -e-rô beøn thöa raèng: Naày chuùng toâi ñaõ boû moïi söï maø theo thaày; vaäy thì chuùng toâi seõ ñöôïc chi?

19:28 And Jesus said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That all of you which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, all of you also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

19:28 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñeán kyø muoân vaät ñoåi môùi, laø khi Con ngöôøi seõ ngöï treân ngoâi vinh hieån cuûa Ngaøi, thì caùc ngöôi laø keû ñaõ theo ta, cuõng seõ ngoài treân möôøi hai ngoâi, maø xeùt ñoaùn möôøi hai chi phaùi Y-sô-ra-eân.

19:29 And every one that has forsaken houses, or brethren, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or lands, for my name's sake, shall receive an hundredfold, and shall inherit everlasting life.

19:29 Heã ai vì danh ta maø boû anh em, chò em, cha meï, con caùi, ñaát ruoäng, nhaø cöûa, thì ngöôøi aáy seõ laõnh boäi phaàn hôn, vaø ñöôïc höôûng söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi.

19:30 But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first.

19:30 Song coù nhieàu keû ôû ñaàu seõ neân roát, vaø nhieàu keû ôû roát seõ neân ñaàu.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

20:1 For the kingdom of heaven is like unto a man that is an householder, which went out early in the morning to hire labourers into his vineyard.

20:1 Vaû, nöôùc thieân ñaøng, gioáng nhö ngöôøi chuû nhaø kia, taûng saùng ñi ra, ñeå möôùn ngöôøi laøm coâng cho vöôøn nho mình.

20:2 And when he had agreed with the labourers for a penny a day, he sent them into his vineyard.

20:2 Khi ngöôøi chuû ñaõ ñònh giaù vôùi ngöôøi laøm coâng, moãi ngaøy moät ñô-ni-eâ, thì sai hoï vaøo vöôøn nho mình.

20:3 And he went out about the third hour, and saw others standing idle in the marketplace,

20:3 Öôùc chöøng giôø thöù ba, ngöôøi chuû laïi ra, thaáy nhöõng keû khaùc raûnh vieäc ñöùng trong chôï,

20:4 And said unto them; Go all of you also into the vineyard, and whatsoever is right I will give you. And they went their way.

20:4 thì noùi cuøng hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy ñi vaøo vöôøn nho ta, vaø ta seõ traû tieàn coâng phaûi cho.

20:5 Again he went out about the sixth and ninth hour, and did likewise.

20:5 Hoï lieàn ñi. Öôùc chöøng giôø thöù saùu vaø giôø thöù chín, ngöôøi chuû laïi ra, cuõng laøm nhö vaäy.

20:6 And about the eleventh hour he went out, and found others standing idle, and says unto them, Why stand all of you here all the day idle?

20:6 Öôùc chöøng giôø thöù möôøi moät, chuû ra, laïi thaáy nhöõng keû khaùc ñöùng trong chôï, thì hoûi raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi ñöùng ñaây caû ngaøy khoâng laøm gì heát?

20:7 They say unto him, Because no man has hired us. He says unto them, Go all of you also into the vineyard; and whatsoever is right, that shall all of you receive.

20:7 Hoï traû lôøi raèng: Vì khoâng ai möôùn chuùng toâi. Ngöôøi chuû noùi vôùi hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi cuõng haõy ñi vaøo vöôøn nho ta.

20:8 So when even was come, the lord of the vineyard says unto his steward, Call the labourers, and give them their hire, beginning from the last unto the first.

20:8 Ñeán toái, chuû vöôøn nho noùi vôùi ngöôøi giöõ vieäc raèng: Haõy goïi nhöõng ngöôøi laøm coâng maø traû tieàn coâng cho hoï, khôûi töø ngöôøi roát cho ñeán ngöôøi ñaàu.

20:9 And when they came that were hired about the eleventh hour, they received every man a penny.

20:9 Nhöõng ngöôøi laøm coâng möôùn töø giôø thöù möôøi moät ñeán, laõnh moãi ngöôøi ñöôïc moät ñô-ni-eâ.

20:10 But when the first came, they supposed that they should have received more; and they likewise received every man a penny.

20:10 Roài tôùi phieân nhöõng ngöôøi ñaàu ñeán, töôûng laõnh ñöôïc nhieàu hôn; song hoï cuõng laõnh moãi ngöôøi moät ñô-ni-eâ.

20:11 And when they had received it, they murmured against the goodman of the house,

20:11 Khi laõnh roài, laèm baèm cuøng chuû nhaø,

20:12 Saying, These last have wrought but one hour, and you have made them equal unto us, which have borne the burden and heat of the day.

20:12 maø raèng: Nhöõng ngöôøi roát aáy chæ laøm moät giôø, maø chuû ñaõi cuõng nhö chuùng toâi, laø keû ñaõ chòu meät nhoïc caû ngaøy vaø giang naéng.

20:13 But he answered one of them, and said, Friend, I do you no wrong: did not you agree with me for a penny?

20:13 Song chuû traû lôøi cho moät ngöôøi trong boïn raèng: Baïn ôi, ta khoâng xöû teä vôùi ngöôi ñaâu; ngöôi haù chaúng ñaõ ñònh vôùi ta moät ñô-ni-eâ sao?

20:14 Take that yours is, and go your way: I will give unto this last, even as unto you.

20:14 Haõy laáy cuûa ngöôi maø ñi ñi; ta muoán traû cho keû roát naày baèng nhö ñaõ traû cho ngöôi vaäy.

20:15 Is it not lawful for me to do what I will with mine own? Is yours eye evil, because I am good?

20:15 Ta haù khoâng coù pheùp duøng cuûa caûi ta theo yù muoán ta sao? Hay laø ngöôi thaáy ta ôû töû teá maø laáy maét ganh sao?

20:16 So the last shall be first, and the first last: for many be called, but few chosen.

20:16 Ñoù, nhöõng keû roát seõ neân ñaàu vaø keû ñaàu seõ neân roát laø nhö vaäy.

20:17 And Jesus going up to Jerusalem took the twelve disciples apart in the way, and said unto them,

20:17 Trong khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Ngaøi ñem rieâng theo möôøi hai moân ñoà, doïc ñöôøng, phaùn cuøng hoï raèng:

20:18 Behold, we go up to Jerusalem; and the Son of man shall be betrayed unto the chief priests and unto the scribes, and they shall condemn him to death,

20:18 Naày, chuùng ta ñi leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø Con ngöôøi seõ bò baét noäp cho caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo, boïn ñoù seõ luaän gieát Ngaøi.

20:19 And shall deliver him to the Gentiles to mock, and to scourge, and to crucify him: and the third day he shall rise again.

20:19 Hoï seõ noäp Ngaøi cho daân ngoaïi haàu ñeå nhaïo baùng, ñaùnh ñaäp, vaø ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï; ñeán ngaøy thöù ba, Ngaøi seõ soáng laïi.

20:20 Then came to him the mother of Zebedees children with her sons, worshipping him, and desiring a certain thing of him.

20:20 Baáy giôø, coù meï cuûa caùc con trai Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ cuøng caùc con mình ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laïy Ngaøi ñaëng hoûi moät chuyeän.

20:21 And he said unto her, What will you? She says unto him, Grant that these my two sons may sit, the one on your right hand, and the other on the left, in your kingdom.

20:21 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ngöôi muoán chi? Thöa raèng: Xin cho hai con trai toâi ñaây ngoài moät ñöùa beân höõu Ngaøi, moät ñöùa beân taû, ôû trong nöôùc Ngaøi.

20:22 But Jesus answered and said, All of you know not what all of you ask. Are all of you able to drink of the cup that I shall drink of, and to be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with? They say unto him, We are able.

20:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Caùc ngöôi khoâng hieåu ñieàu cuûa mình xin. Caùc ngöôi uoáng ñöôïc cheùn maø ta haàu uoáng khoâng? Hai ngöôøi thöa raèng: Chuùng toâi uoáng ñöôïc.

20:23 And he says unto them, All of you shall drink indeed of my cup, and be baptized with the baptism that I am baptized with: but to sit on my right hand, and on my left, is not mine to give, but it shall be given to them for whom it is prepared of my Father.

20:23 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Thaät caùc ngöôi seõ uoáng cheùn ta nhöng maø ngoài beân höõu hay beân taû ta, thì chaúng phaûi töï ta cho ñöôïc; aáy laø cho nhöõng ngöôøi naøo maø Cha ta ñaõ söûa soaïn cho.

20:24 And when the ten heard it, they were moved with indignation against the two brethren.

20:24 Möôøi moân ñoà kia nghe söï xin ñoù, thì giaän hai anh em.

20:25 But Jesus called them unto him, and said, All of you know that the princes of the Gentiles exercise dominion over them, and they that are great exercise authority upon them.

20:25 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus goïi ñeán maø phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi bieát raèng caùc vua daân ngoaïi thì eùp daân phaûi phuïc mình, coøn caùc quan lôùn thì laáy quyeàn theá maø trò daân.

20:26 But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;

20:26 Trong caùc ngöôi thì khoâng nhö vaäy; traùi laïi, trong caùc ngöôi, keû naøo muoán laøm lôùn, thì seõ laøm ñaày tôù caùc ngöôi;

20:27 And whosoever will be chief among you, let him be your servant:

20:27 coøn keû naøo muoán laøm ñaàu, thì seõ laøm toâi moïi caùc ngöôi.

20:28 Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.

20:28 Aáy vaäy, Con ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán, khoâng phaûi ñeå ngöôøi ta haàu vieäc mình, song ñeå mình haàu vieäc ngöôøi ta, vaø phoù söï soáng mình laøm giaù chuoäc nhieàu ngöôøi.

20:29 And as they departed from Jericho, a great multitude followed him.

20:29 Ñöông khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ra khoûi thaønh Gieâ-ri-coâ, thì coù moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng theo Ngaøi.

20:30 And, behold, two blind men sitting by the way side, when they heard that Jesus passed by, cried out, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, you son of David.

20:30 Naày, coù hai ngöôøi muø ngoài beân ñöôøng, nghe noùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus qua ñoù, thì keâu leân raèng: Laïy Chuùa, con chaùu vua Ña-vít, xin thöông xoùt chuùng toâi!

20:31 And the multitude rebuked them, because they should hold their peace: but they cried the more, saying, Have mercy on us, O Lord, you son of David.

20:31 Chuùng raày hai ngöôøi aáy, bieåu nín ñi; nhöng hoï keâu lôùn hôn nöõa, raèng: Laïy Chuùa, con chaùu vua Ña-vít, xin thöông xoùt chuùng toâi!

20:32 And Jesus stood still, and called them, and said, What will all of you that I shall do unto you?

20:32 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus döøng laïi, goïi hai ngöôøi muø ñeán, maø phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi muoán ta laøm chi cho?

20:33 They say unto him, Lord, that our eyes may be opened.

20:33 Hoï thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin cho maét chuùng toâi ñöôïc môû ra.

20:34 So Jesus had compassion on them, and touched their eyes: and immediately their eyes received sight, and they followed him.

20:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt, beøn rôø ñeán maét hoï; töùc thì hai ngöôøi thaáy ñöôïc vaø ñi theo Ngaøi.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

21:1 And when they drew nigh unto Jerusalem, and were come to Bethphage, unto the mount of Olives, then sent Jesus two disciples,

21:1 Vöøa khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø ñaõ tôùi thaønh Beâ-pha-gieâ, beân nuùi OÂ-li-ve roài, thì Ngaøi sai hai moân ñoà,

21:2 Saying unto them, Go into the village opposite to you, and immediately all of you shall find an ass tied, and a colt with her: loose them, and bring them unto me.

21:2 maø phaùn raèng: Haõy ñi ñeán laøng ôû tröôùc maët caùc ngöôi, töùc thì seõ gaëp moät con löøa caùi bò coät, vôùi moät con löøa con; haõy môû ra vaø daét ñeán cho ta.

21:3 And if any man say ought unto you, all of you shall say, The Lord has need of them; and immediately he will send them.

21:3 Neáu coù ai noùi chi vôùi caùc ngöôi, haõy traû lôøi raèng Chuùa caàn duøng hai con löøa ñoù; töùc thì hoï seõ gôûi löøa ñi.

21:4 All this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, saying,

21:4 Vaû, ñieàu aáy xaûy ra ñeå cho öùng nghieäm lôøi cuûa ñaáng tieân tri raèng:

21:5 Tell all of you the daughter of Sion, Behold, your King comes unto you, meek, and sitting upon an ass, and a colt the foal of an ass.

21:5 Haõy noùi vôùi con gaùi thaønh Si-oân raèng: Naày, vua ngöôi ñeán cuøng ngöôi, Nhu mì, côõi löøa Vaø löøa con, laø con cuûa löøa caùi mang aùch.

21:6 And the disciples went, and did as Jesus commanded them,

21:6 Hai moân ñoà beøn ñi, vaø laøm y theo lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ daïy.

21:7 And brought the ass, and the colt, and put on them their clothes, and they set him thereon.

21:7 Hai ngöôøi daét löøa caùi vaø löøa con, traûi aùo mình treân löng löøa, vaø naâng Ngaøi côõi leân.

21:8 And a very great multitude spread their garments in the way; others cut down branches from the trees, and scattered them in the way.

21:8 Baáy giôø phaàn nhieàu trong ñaùm daân ñoâng traûi aùo mình treân ñöôøng; keû khaùc chaët nhaùnh caây maø raûi ra giöõa ñöôøng.

21:9 And the multitudes that went before, and that followed, cried, saying, Hosanna to the son of David: Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord; Hosanna in the highest.

21:9 Ñoaøn daân ñi tröôùc vaø theo sau ñeàu keâu leân raèng: Hoâ-sa-na con vua Ña-vít! Ñaùng khen ngôïi cho Ñaáng nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán! Hoâ-sa-na ôû treân nôi raát cao!

21:10 And when he was come into Jerusalem, all the city was moved, saying, Who is this?

21:10 Khi Ngaøi ñaõ vaøo thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, thì caû thaønh ñeàu xoân xao, noùi raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø ai?

21:11 And the multitude said, This is Jesus the prophet of Nazareth of Galilee.

21:11 Chuùng traû lôøi raèng: Aáy laø Ñaáng tieân tri Jeâsus ôû thaønh Na-xa-reùt, xöù Ga-li-leâ.

21:12 And Jesus went into the temple of God, and cast out all them that sold and bought in the temple, and overthrew the tables of the moneychangers, and the seats of them that sold doves,

21:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo ñeàn thôø, ñuoåi heát keû baùn ngöôøi mua ôû ñoù; ñoå baøn cuûa ngöôøi ñoåi baïc, vaø gheá cuûa ngöôøi baùn boø caâu.

21:13 And said unto them, It is written, My house shall be called the house of prayer; but all of you have made it a den of thieves.

21:13 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Coù lôøi cheùp: Nhaø ta seõ goïi laø nhaø caàu nguyeän; nhöng caùc ngöôi thì laøm cho nhaø aáy thaønh ra oå troäm cöôùp.

21:14 And the blind and the lame came to him in the temple; and he healed them.

21:14 Baáy giôø, nhöõng keû muø vaø queø ñeán cuøng Ngaøi trong ñeàn thôø, thì Ngaøi chöõa cho hoï ñöôïc laønh.

21:15 And when the chief priests and scribes saw the wonderful things that he did, and the children crying in the temple, and saying, Hosanna to the son of David; they were sore displeased,

21:15 Nhöng caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo thaáy söï laï Ngaøi ñaõ laøm, vaø nghe con treû reo leân trong ñeàn thôø raèng: Hoâ-sa-na con vua Ña-vít! thì hoï töùc giaän,

21:16 And said unto him, Hear you what these say? And Jesus says unto them, Yea; have all of you never read, Out of the mouth of babes and infants you have perfected praise?

21:16 vaø noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Thaày coù nghe ñieàu nhöõng ñöùa treû naày noùi khoâng? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Coù. Vaäy chôù caùc ngöôi chöa heà ñoïc lôøi naày: Chuùa ñaõ ñöôïc ngôïi khen bôûi mieäng con treû vaø con ñöông buù, hay sao?

21:17 And he left them, and went out of the city into Bethany; and he lodged there.

21:17 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi boû hoï, ñi ra khoûi thaønh maø ñeán laøng Beâ-tha-ni vaø nghæ ñeâm ôû ñoù.

21:18 Now in the morning as he returned into the city, he hungered.

21:18 Saùng mai, khi trôû laïi thaønh thì Ngaøi ñoùi.

21:19 And when he saw a fig tree in the way, he came to it, and found nothing thereon, but leaves only, and said unto it, Let no fruit grow on you henceforward for ever. And presently the fig tree withered away.

21:19 Thaáy moät caây vaû ôû beân ñöôøng, Ngaøi beøn laïi gaàn, song chæ thaáy nhöõng laù maø thoâi, thì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng caây vaû raèng: Maày chaúng khi naøo sanh ra traùi nöõa! Caây vaû töùc thì khoâ ñi.

21:20 And when the disciples saw it, they marvelled, saying, How soon is the fig tree withered away!

21:20 Moân ñoà thaáy ñieàu ñoù, laáy laøm kyø, noùi raèng: Côù sao trong giaây phuùt maø caây vaû lieàn khoâ ñi vaäy?

21:21 Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If all of you have faith, and doubt not, all of you shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if all of you shall say unto this mountain, Be you removed, and be you cast into the sea; it shall be done.

21:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu caùc ngöôi coù ñöùc tin, vaø khoâng nghi ngôø chi heát, thì chaúng nhöõng caùc ngöôi laøm ñöôïc ñieàu ñaõ laøm cho caây vaû maø thoâi, song daàu caùc ngöôi bieåu hoøn nuùi naày raèng: Haõy caát mình leân vaø quaêng xuoáng bieån, ñieàu ñoù cuõng seõ laøm ñöôïc.

21:22 And all things, whatsoever all of you shall ask in prayer, believing, all of you shall receive.

21:22 Trong khi caàu nguyeän, caùc ngöôi laáy ñöùc tin xin vieäc gì baát kyø, thaûy ñeàu ñöôïc caû.

21:23 And when he was come into the temple, the chief priests and the elders of the people came unto him as he was teaching, and said, By what authority do you these things? and who gave you this authority?

21:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo ñeàn thôø roài, ñöông giaûng ñaïo, coù caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo trong daân ñeán maø hoûi raèng: Bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo maø thaày laøm nhöõng söï naày, vaø ai ñaõ cho thaày quyeàn pheùp aáy?

21:24 And Jesus answered and said unto them, I also will ask you one thing, (o. logos) which if all of you tell me, I in like wise will tell you by what authority I do these things.

21:24 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ta cuõng seõ hoûi caùc ngöôi moät ñieàu; neáu traû lôøi ñöôïc, thì ta cuõng seõ noùi cho caùc ngöôi bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo maø ta ñaõ laøm nhöõng vieäc ñoù.

21:25 The baptism of John, whence was it? from heaven, or of men? And they reasoned with themselves, saying, If we shall say, From heaven; he will say unto us, Why did all of you not then believe him?

21:25 Pheùp baùp-tem cuûa Giaêng bôûi ñaâu? Bôûi treân trôøi hay laø bôûi ngöôøi ta? Vaû, hoï baøn rieâng vôùi nhau nhö vaày: Neáu chuùng ta ñaùp raèng: Bôûi treân trôøi, thì ngöôøi seõ noùi vôùi ta raèng: Vaäy sao khoâng tin lôøi ngöôøi aáy?

21:26 But if we shall say, Of men; we fear the people; for all hold John as a prophet.

21:26 Coøn neáu ñaùp raèng: Bôûi ngöôøi ta, thì chuùng ta sôï thieân haï, vì thieân haï ñeàu cho Giaêng laø ñaáng tieân tri.

21:27 And they answered Jesus, and said, We cannot tell. And he said unto them, Neither tell I you by what authority I do these things.

21:27 Vaäy, hoï traû lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Chuùng toâi khoâng bieát. Ngaøi beøn phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ta cuõng khoâng baûo cho caùc ngöôi bôûi quyeàn pheùp naøo maø ta laøm nhöõng ñieàu naày.

21:28 But what think all of you? A certain man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work to day in my vineyard.

21:28 Caùc ngöôi nghó laøm sao? Moät ngöôøi kia coù hai ñöùa con trai; noùi cuøng ñöùa thöù nhöùt, maø raèng: Con ôi, böõa nay con haõy ra laøm vöôøn nho.

21:29 He answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented, and went.

21:29 Ñöùa aáy thöa raèng: Vaâng; roài khoâng ñi.

21:30 And he came to the second, and said likewise. And he answered and said, I go, sir: and went not.

21:30 Ñoaïn, ngöôøi cha ñi ñeán ñöùa thöù hai, cuõng baûo nhö vaäy. Ñöùa naày thöa raèng: Toâi khoâng muoán ñi. Nhöng sau aên naên, roài ñi.

21:31 Whether of them two did the will of his father? They say unto him, The first. Jesus says unto them, Verily I say unto you, That the publicans and the harlots go into the kingdom of God before you.

21:32 For John came unto you in the way of righteousness, and all of you believed him not: but the publicans and the harlots believed him: and all of you, when all of you had seen it, repented not afterward, that all of you might believe him.

21:32 Vì Giaêng ñaõ theo ñöôøng coâng bình ñeán cuøng caùc ngöôi, nhöng caùc ngöôi khoâng tin, coøn nhöõng keû thaâu thueá vaø phöôøng dó ñieám ñaõ tin ngöôøi; vaø caùc ngöôi, khi ñaõ thaáy ñieàu aáy, sau cuõng khoâng aên naên ñaëng tin ngöôøi.

21:33 Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and dug a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country:

21:33 Haõy nghe lôøi ví duï khaùc. Coù ngöôøi chuû nhaø kia, troàng moät vöôøn nho, raøo chung quanh, ôû trong ñaøo moät caùi haàm eùp röôïu, vaø caát moät caùi thaùp; roài cho nhöõng keû troàng nho möôùn, vaø ñi qua xöù khaùc.

21:34 And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it.

21:34 Ñeán muøa haùi traùi, ngöôøi chuû sai ñaày tôù ñeán cuøng boïn troàng nho, ñaëng thaâu hoa lôïi.

21:35 And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another.

21:35 Boïn troàng nho baét caùc ñaày tôù, ñaùnh ngöôøi naày, gieát ngöôøi kia, vaø neùm ñaù ngöôøi noï.

21:36 Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise.

21:36 Ngöôøi chuû laïi sai ñaày tôù khaùc ñoâng hôn khi tröôùc; thì hoï cuõng ñoái ñaõi moät caùch.

21:37 But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son.

21:37 Sau heát, ngöôøi chuû sai chính con trai mình ñeán cuøng hoï, vì noùi raèng: Chuùng noù seõ kính troïng con ta.

21:38 But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance.

21:38 Nhöng khi boïn troàng nho thaáy con ñoù, thì noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø keû keá töï ñaây; heø! haõy gieát noù ñi, vaø chieám laáy phaàn gia taøi noù.

21:39 And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him.

21:39 Hoï beøn baét con aáy, quaêng ra ngoaøi vöôøn nho, vaø gieát ñi.

21:40 When the lord therefore of the vineyard comes, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

21:40 Vaäy, khi ngöôøi chuû vöôøn ñeán, thì seõ xöû vôùi boïn laøm vöôøn aáy theå naøo?

21:41 They say unto him, He will miserably destroy those wicked men, and will let out his vineyard unto other husbandmen, which shall render him the fruits in their seasons.

21:41 Chuùng traû lôøi raèng: Ngöôøi chuû seõ dieät ñoà hung aùc aáy caùch khoå sôû, vaø cho boïn troàng nho khaùc möôùn vöôøn aáy, laø keû seõ noäp hoa lôïi luùc ñeán muøa.

21:42 Jesus says unto them, Did all of you never read in the scriptures, The stone which the builders rejected, the same is become the head of the corner: this is the Lord's doing, and it is marvellous in our eyes?

21:42 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi haù chöa heà ñoïc lôøi trong Kinh Thaùnh: Hoøn ñaù ñaõ bò ngöôøi xaây nhaø boû ra, Trôû neân ñaù ñaàu goùc nhaø; Aáy laø moät söï laï tröôùc maét chuùng ta, hay sao?

21:43 Therefore say I unto you, The kingdom of God shall be taken from you, and given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.

21:43 Bôûi vaäy, ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi seõ caát khoûi caùc ngöôi, vaø cho moät daân khaùc laø daân seõ coù keát quaû cuûa nöôùc ñoù.

21:44 And whosoever shall fall on this stone shall be broken: but on whomsoever it shall fall, it will grind him to powder.

21:44 Keû naøo rôi treân hoøn ñaù aáy seõ bò giaäp naùt, coøn keû naøo bò ñaù aáy rôùt nhaèm thì seõ tan taønh nhö buïi.

21:45 And when the chief priests and Pharisees had heard his parables, they perceived that he spoke of them.

21:45 Caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si nghe nhöõng lôøi ví duï ñoù, thì bieát Ngaøi noùi veà mình.

21:46 But when they sought to lay hands on him, they feared the multitude, because they took him for a prophet.

21:46 Hoï beøn tìm caùch ñeå baét Ngaøi; song sôï thieân haï vì thieân haï toân Ngaøi laø ñaáng tieân tri.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

22:1 And Jesus answered and spoke unto them again by parables, and said,

22:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn ví duï cuøng chuùng nöõa, raèng:

22:2 The kingdom of heaven is like unto a certain king, which made a marriage for his son,

22:2 Nöôùc thieân ñaøng gioáng nhö moät vua kia laøm tieäc cöôùi cho con mình.

22:3 And sent forth his servants to call them that were bidden to the wedding: and they would not come.

22:3 vua sai ñaày tôù ñi nhaéc nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ ñöôïc môøi ñeán döï tieäc; nhöng hoï khoâng chòu ñeán.

22:4 Again, he sent forth other servants, saying, Tell them which are bidden, Behold, I have prepared my dinner: my oxen and my fatlings are killed, and all things are ready: come unto the marriage.

22:4 Vua laïi sai ñaày tôù khaùc maø daën raèng: Haõy noùi vôùi ngöôøi ñöôïc môøi nhö vaày: Naày, ta ñaõ söûa soaïn tieäc roài; boø vaø thuù beùo ñaõ gieát xong, moïi vieäc ñaõ saün caû, haõy ñeán maø döï tieäc cöôùi.

22:5 But they made light of it, and went their ways, one to his farm, another to his merchandise:

22:5 Nhöng hoï khoâng ñeám xæa ñeán, cöù vieäc ñi ñöôøng mình; keû naày ñi ra ruoäng, keû kia buoân baùn;

22:6 And the remnant took his servants, and pleaded them spitefully, and slew them.

22:6 coøn nhöng keû khaùc baét ñaày tôù cuûa vua, maéng chöôûi vaø gieát ñi.

22:7 But when the king heard thereof, he was angry: and he sent forth his armies, and destroyed those murderers, and burned up their city.

22:7 Vua noåi giaän, beøn sai quaân lính dieät nhöõng keû gieát ngöôøi ñoù, vaø ñoát phaù thaønh cuûa hoï.

22:8 Then says he to his servants, The wedding is ready, but they which were bidden were not worthy.

22:8 Ñoaïn, vua phaùn cuøng ñaày tôù mình raèng: Tieäc cöôùi ñaõ doïn xong roài; song nhöõng ngöôøi ñöôïc môøi khoâng xöùng döï tieäc ñoù.

22:9 Go all of you therefore into the highways, and as many as all of you shall find, bid to the marriage.

22:9 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi haõy ñi khaép caùc ngaõ tö, heã gaëp ngöôøi naøo thì môøi caû ñeán döï tieäc.

22:10 So those servants went out into the highways, and gathered together all as many as they found, both bad and good: and the wedding was furnished with guest.

22:10 Ñaày tôù ñi khaép caùc ñöôøng caùi, nhoùm laïi heát thaûy nhöõng ngöôøi hoï gaëp, baát luaän döõ laønh, ñeán noãi trong phoøng ñaày nhöõng ngöôøi döï tieäc.

22:11 And when the king came in to see the guest, he saw there a man which had not on a wedding garment:

22:11 Vua vaøo xem khaùch döï tieäc, chôït thaáy moät ngöôøi khoâng maëc aùo leã,

22:12 And he says unto him, Friend, how came you in here not having a wedding garment? And he was speechless.

22:12 thì phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi baïn, sao ngöôi vaøo ñaây maø khoâng maëc aùo leã? Ngöôøi ñoù laøm thinh.

22:13 Then said the king to the servants, Bind him hand and foot, and take him away, and cast him into outer darkness, there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

22:13 Vua beøn truyeàn cho ñaày tôù raèng: Haõy troùi tay chôn noù laïi, vaø quaêng ra ngoaøi nôi toái taêm, laø nôi seõ coù khoùc loùc vaø nghieán raêng.

22:14 For many are called, but few are chosen.

22:14 Bôûi vì coù nhieàu keû ñöôïc goïi, maø ít ngöôøi ñöôïc choïn.

22:15 Then went the Pharisees, and took counsel how they might entangle him in his talk. (o. logos)

22:15 Baáy giôø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñi ra baøn luaän vôùi nhau, ñeå kieám caùch baét loãi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus veà lôøi noùi.

22:16 And they sent out unto him their disciples with the Herodians, saying, Master, we know that you are true, and teach the way of God in truth, neither care you for any man: for you regard not the person of men.

22:16 Hoï sai moân ñoà mình vôùi ñaûng vua Heâ-roát ñeán thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Laïy thaày, chuùng toâi bieát thaày laø thaät, vaø theo caùch thaät maø daïy ñaïo cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khoâng tö vò ai; vì thaày khoâng xem beà ngoaøi cuûa ngöôøi ta.

22:17 Tell us therefore, What think you? Is it lawful to give tribute unto Caesar, or not?

22:17 Vaäy, xin thaày noùi cho chuùng toâi, thaày nghó theá naøo: coù neân noäp thueá cho Seâ-sa hay khoâng?

22:18 But Jesus perceived their wickedness, and said, Why tempt all of you me, all of you hypocrites?

22:18 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát yù xaáu cuûa hoï, beøn ñaùp raèng: Hôõi keû giaû hình, sao caùc ngöôi thöû ta?

22:19 Show me the tribute money. And they brought unto him a penny.

22:19 Haõy ñöa cho ta xem ñoàng tieàn noäp thueá. Hoï ñöa cho Ngaøi moät ñô-ni-eâ.

22:20 And he says unto them, Whose is this image and superscription?

22:20 Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Hình vaø hieäu naày cuûa ai?

22:21 They say unto him, Caesar's. Then says he unto them, Render therefore unto Caesar the things which are Caesar's; and unto God the things that are God's.

22:21 Hoï traû lôøi raèng: Cuûa Seâ-sa. Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Vaäy, haõy traû cho Seâ-sa vaät gì cuûa Seâ-sa; vaø traû cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaät gì cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

22:22 When they had heard these words, they marvelled, and left him, and went their way.

22:22 Hoï nghe lôøi aáy, ñeàu bôï ngôï, lieàn boû Ngaøi maø ñi.

22:23 The same day came to him the Sadducees, which say that there is no resurrection, and asked him,

22:23 Trong ngaøy ñoù, coù ngöôøi Sa-ñu-seâ, laø keû noùi raèng khoâng coù söï soáng laïi, ñeán gaàn Ngaøi maø hoûi raèng:

22:24 Saying, Master, Moses said, If a man die, having no children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed unto his brother.

22:24 Thöa thaày, Moâi-se coù noùi: Neáu ngöôøi naøo cheát maø khoâng coù con, thì em seõ laáy vôï goùa anh ñeå noái doøng cho anh.

22:25 Now there were with us seven brethren: and the first, when he had married a wife, deceased, and, having no issue, left his wife unto his brother:

22:25 Vaû, trong chuùng toâi coù baûy anh em. Ngöôøi anh laáy vôï vaø cheát ñi, nhöng vì chöa coù con neân ñeå vôï laïi cho em.

22:26 Likewise the second also, and the third, unto the seventh.

22:26 Ngöôøi thöù hai, thöù ba, cho ñeán thöù baûy cuõng vaäy.

22:27 And last of all the woman died also.

22:27 Roát laïi, ngöôøi ñôøn baø cuõng cheát.

22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.

22:28 Vaäy, luùc soáng laïi, ñôøn baø ñoù seõ laøm vôï ai trong baûy ngöôøi? vì caû thaûy ñeàu ñaõ laáy ngöôøi laøm vôï.

22:29 Jesus answered and said unto them, All of you do go astray, not knowing the scriptures, nor the power of God.

22:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Caùc ngöôi laàm, vì khoâng hieåu Kinh Thaùnh, vaø cuõng khoâng hieåu quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi theå naøo.

22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

22:30 Vì ñeán khi soáng laïi, ngöôøi ta khoâng cöôùi vôï, cuõng khoâng laáy choàng, song nhöõng keû soáng laïi laø nhö thieân söù treân trôøi vaäy.

22:31 But as concerning the resurrection of the dead, have all of you not read that which was spoken unto you by God, saying,

22:31 Caùc ngöôi haù khoâng ñoïc lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn veà söï soáng laïi cuûa keû cheát raèng:

22:32 I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

22:32 Ta laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-saùc, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Gia-coáp, hay sao? Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng phaûi laø Chuùa cuûa keû cheát, nhöng cuûa keû soáng.

22:33 And when the multitude heard this, they were astonished at his doctrine.

22:33 Chuùng nghe lôøi aáy, thì laáy laøm laï veà söï daïy doã cuûa Ngaøi.

22:34 But when the Pharisees had heard that he had put the Sadducees to silence, they were gathered together.

22:34 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si nghe noùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm cho boïn Sa-ñu-seâ cöùng mieäng, thì nhoùm hieäp nhau laïi.

22:35 Then one of them, which was a lawyer, asked him a question, tempting him, and saying,

22:35 Coù moät thaày daïy luaät trong boïn hoï hoûi caâu naày ñeå thöû Ngaøi:

22:36 Master, which is the great commandment in the law?

22:36 Thöa thaày, trong luaät phaùp, ñieàu raên naøo laø lôùn hôn heát?

22:37 Jesus said unto him, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind.

22:37 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi haõy heát loøng, heát linh hoàn, heát yù maø yeâu meán Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi.

22:38 This is the first and great commandment.

22:38 Aáy laø ñieàu raên thöù nhöùt vaø lôùn hôn heát.

22:39 And the second is like unto it, You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

22:39 Coøn ñieàu raên thöù hai ñaây, cuõng nhö vaäy: Ngöôi haõy yeâu keû laân caän nhö mình.

22:40 On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.

22:40 Heát thaûy luaät phaùp vaø lôøi tieân tri ñeàu bôûi hai ñieàu raên ñoù maø ra.

22:41 While the Pharisees were gathered together, Jesus asked them,

22:41 Khi ngöôøi Pha-ri-si nhoùm nhau laïi, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi hoï raèng:

22:42 Saying, What think all of you of Christ? whose son is he? They say unto him, The son of David.

22:42 Veà Ñaáng Christ, caùc ngöôi nghó theå naøo? Ngaøi laø con ai? Hoï ñaùp raèng: Con vua Ña-vít.

22:43 He says unto them, How then does David in spirit (o. pneuma) call him Lord, saying,

22:43 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Vaäy, vì côù naøo vua Ña-vít ñöôïc Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh caûm ñoäng, goïi Ñaáng Christ laø Chuùa, maø raèng:

22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit you on my right hand, till I make yours enemies your footstool?

22:44 Chuùa phaùn cuøng Chuùa toâi: Haõy ngoài beân höõu ta, Cho ñeán khi naøo ta ñeå keû thuø nghòch ngöôi döôùi chôn ngöôi?

22:45 If David then call him Lord, how is he his son?

22:45 Vaäy, neáu vua Ña-vít xöng Ngaøi laø Chuùa, thì Ngaøi laøm con vua aáy laø theå naøo?

22:46 And no man was able to answer him a word, (o. logos) neither durst any man from that day forth ask him any more questions.

22:46 Khoâng ai thöa laïi ñöôïc moät lôøi, vaø töø ngaøy ñoù, chaúng ai daùm hoûi Ngaøi nöõa.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

23:1 Then spoke Jesus to the multitude, and to his disciples,

23:1 Baáy giôø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng daân chuùng vaø moân ñoà Ngaøi raèng:

23:2 Saying The scribes and the Pharisees sit in Moses' seat:

23:2 Caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñeàu ngoài treân ngoâi cuûa Moâi-se.

23:3 All therefore whatsoever they bid you observe, that observe and do; but do not all of you after their works: for they say, and do not.

23:3 Vaäy, haõy laøm vaø giöõ theo moïi ñieàu hoï ñaõ baûo caùc ngöôi; nhöng ñöøng baét chöôùc vieäc laøm cuûa hoï, vì hoï noùi maø khoâng laøm.

23:4 For they bind heavy burdens and grievous to be borne, and lay them on men's shoulders; but they themselves will not move them with one of their fingers.

23:4 Boïn aáy buoäc nhöõng gaùnh naëng khoù chòu, ñeå treân vai ngöôøi ta, coøn mình thì khoâng muoán ñoäng ngoùn tay vaøo.

23:5 But all their works they do in order to be seen of men: they make broad their phylacteries, and enlarge the borders of their garments,

23:5 Hoï laøm vieäc gì cuõng coá ñeå cho ngöôøi ta thaáy, mang caùi theû baøi da cho roäng, xuû caùi tua aùo cho daøi;

23:6 And love the uppermost rooms at feasts, and the chief seats in the synagogues,

23:6 öa ngoài ñaàu trong ñaùm tieäc, thích ngoâi cao nhaát trong nhaø hoäi;

23:7 And greetings in the markets, and to be called of men, Rabbi, Rabbi.

23:7 muoán ngöôøi ta chaøo mình giöõa chôï, vaø öng ngöôøi ta goïi mình baèng thaày!

23:8 But be not all of you called Rabbi: for one is your Master, even Christ; and all you are brethren.

23:8 Nhöng caùc ngöôi ñöøng chòu ngöôøi ta goïi mình baèng thaày; vì caùc ngöôi chæ coù moät Thaày, vaø caùc ngöôi heát thaûy ñeàu laø anh em.

23:9 And call no man your father upon the earth: for one is your Father, which is in heaven.

23:9 Cuõng ñöøng goïi ngöôøi naøo ôû theá gian laø cha mình; vì caùc ngöôi chæ coù moät Cha, laø Ñaáng ôû treân trôøi.

23:10 Neither be all of you called masters: for one is your Master, even Christ.

23:10 Cuõng ñöøng chòu ai goïi mình laø chuû; vì caùc ngöôi chæ coù moät Chuû, laø Ñaáng Christ.

23:11 But he that is greatest among you shall be your servant.

23:11 Song ai lôùn hôn heát trong caùc ngöôi, thì seõ laøm ñaày tôù caùc ngöôi.

23:12 And whosoever shall exalt himself shall be brought low; and he that shall humble himself shall be exalted.

23:12 Keû naøo toân mình leân thì seõ bò haï xuoáng, coøn keû naøo haï mình xuoáng thì seõ ñöôïc toân leân.

23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for all of you neither go in yourselves, neither suffer all of you them that are entering to go in.

23:13 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi ñoùng nöôùc thieân ñaøng tröôùc maët ngöôøi ta; caùc ngöôi khoâng vaøo ñoù bao giôø, maø coù ai muoán vaøo, thì laïi ngaên trôû.

23:14 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you devour widows' houses, and for a pretence make long prayer: therefore all of you shall receive the greater damnation.

23:14 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi laøm boä ñoïc lôøi caàu nguyeän cho daøi maø nuoát nhaø ñôøn baø goùa; vì côù ñoù, caùc ngöôi seõ bò ñoaùn phaït naëng hôn.

23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, all of you make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

23:15 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi ñi khaép döôùi nöôùc treân boä ñeå khuyeân moät ngöôøi vaøo ñaïo mình; vaø khi ñaõ khuyeân ñöôïc roài, thì caùc ngöôi laøm cho hoï trôû neân ngöôøi ñòa nguïc gaáp hai caùc ngöôi.

23:16 Woe unto you, all of you blind guides, which say, Whosoever shall swear by the temple, it is nothing; but whosoever shall swear by the gold of the temple, he is a debtor!

23:16 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, laø keû muø daãn ñöôøng, caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Neáu ngöôøi naøo chæ ñeàn thôø maø theà, thì khoâng can chi; song chæ vaøng cuûa ñeàn thôø maø theà, thì phaûi maéc lôøi theà aáy.

23:17 All of you fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gold, or the temple that santifies the gold?

23:17 Hôõi keû daïi vaø muø, vaøng, vaø ñeàn thôø laøm cho vaøng neân thaùnh, caùi naøo troïng hôn?

23:18 And, Whosoever shall swear by the altar, it is nothing; but whosoever swears by the gift that is upon it, he is guilty.

23:18 Laïi caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Neáu ngöôøi naøo chæ baøn thôø maø theà, thì khoâng can chi; song chæ cuûa leã treân baøn thôø maø theà, thì phaûi maéc lôøi theà aáy.

23:19 All of you fools and blind: for whether is greater, the gift, or the altar that santifies the gift?

23:19 Hôõi keû muø kia, cuûa leã, vaø baøn thôø laøm cho cuûa leã neân thaùnh, caùi naøo troïng hôn?

23:20 Whoso therefore shall swear by the altar, swears by it, and by all things thereon.

23:20 Vaäy thì ngöôøi naøo chæ baøn thôø maø theà, laø chæ baøn thôø vaø caû cuûa leã treân baøn thôø maø theà;

23:21 And whoso shall swear by the temple, swears by it, and by him that dwells therein.

23:21 ngöôøi naøo chæ ñeàn thôø maø theà, laø chæ ñeàn thôø vaø Ñaáng ngöï nôi ñeàn thôø maø theà

23:22 And he that shall swear by heaven, swears by the throne of God, and by him that sits thereon.

23:22 coøn ai chæ trôøi maø theà, laø chæ ngoâi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø Ñaáng ngöï treân ngoâi maø theà vaäy.

23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought all of you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

23:23 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi noäp moät phaàn möôøi baïc haø, hoài höông, vaø rau caàn, maø boû ñieàu heä troïng hôn heát trong luaät phaùp, laø söï coâng bình, thöông xoùt vaø trung tín; ñoù laø nhöõng ñieàu caùc ngöôi phaûi laøm, maø cuõng khoâng neân boû soùt nhöõng ñieàu kia.

23:24 All of you blind guides, which strain out a gnat, and swallow a camel.

23:24 Hôõi keû muø daãn ñöôøng, caùc ngöôi loïc con ruoài nhoû maø nuoát con laïc ñaø!

23:25 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you make clean the outside of the cup and of the platter, but within they are full of extortion and excess.

23:25 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi röûa beà ngoaøi cheùn vaø maâm, nhöng ôû trong thì ñaày daãy söï aên cöôùp cuøng söï quaù ñoä.

23:26 You blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.

23:26 Hôõi ngöôøi Pha-ri-si muø kia, tröôùc heát phaûi lau beà trong cheùn vaø maâm, haàu cho beà ngoaøi cuõng ñöôïc saïch seõ.

23:27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you are like unto whitewashed sepulchers, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

23:27 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi gioáng nhö moà maû toâ traéng beà ngoaøi cho ñeïp, maø beà trong thì ñaày xöông ngöôøi cheát vaø moïi thöù dô daùy.

23:28 Even so all of you also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within all of you are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

23:28 Caùc ngöôi cuõng vaäy, beà ngoaøi ra daùng coâng bình, nhöng ôû trong thì chan chöùa söï giaû hình vaø toäi loãi.

23:29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because all of you build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchers of the righteous,

23:29 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø keû giaû hình! vì caùc ngöôi xaây ñaép moà maû cuûa ñaáng tieân tri, trau gioài moà maû cuûa ngöôøi coâng bình,

23:30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

23:30 vaø noùi raèng: Neáu chuùng ta ôû cuøng moät thôøi vôùi toå phuï, thì khoâng huøa theo ngöôøi maø laøm ñoå maùu caùc ñaáng tieân tri vaäy.

23:31 Wherefore all of you be witnesses unto yourselves, that all of you are the children of them which killed the prophets.

23:31 Aáy ñoù, caùc ngöôi töï laøm chöùng cho mình raèng thaät laø con chaùu nhöõng ngöôøi gieát caùc ñaáng tieân tri.

23:32 Fill all of you up then the measure of your fathers.

23:32 Vaäy thì haõy laøm cho ñaày daãy caùi löôøng cuûa toå phuï caùc ngöôi!

23:33 All of you serpents, all of you generation of vipers, how can all of you escape the damnation of hell?

23:33 Hôõi loaøi raén, döõ doäi raén luïc kia, theá naøo maø traùnh khoûi söï ñoaùn phaït nôi ñòa nguïc ñöôïc?

23:34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them all of you shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall all of you scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

23:34 Vaäy neân, naày, ta sai nhöõng ñaáng tieân tri, keû khoân ngoan, vaø thaày thoâng giaùo ñeán cuøng caùc ngöôi; trong nhöõng ngöôøi aáy, keû thì caùc ngöôi seõ gieát vaø ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï, keû thì caùc ngöôi seõ ñaùnh ñaäp trong nhaø hoäi mình, vaø caùc ngöôi seõ ñuoåi baét hoï töø thaønh naày qua thaønh kia,

23:35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom all of you slew between the temple and the altar.

23:35 haàu cho heát thaûy maùu voâ toäi bò traøn ra treân maët ñaát, ñoå veà caùc ngöôi, töø maùu A-beân laø ngöôøi coâng bình cho ñeán maùu Xa-cha-ri laø con cuûa Ba-ra-chi, maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ gieát ôû giöõa khoaûng ñeàn thôø vaø baøn thôø.

23:36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

23:36 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, moïi ñieàu ñoù seõ xaûy ñeán cho doøng doõi naày.

23:37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you that kill the prophets, and stone them which are sent unto you, how often would I have gathered your children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and all of you would not!

23:37 Hôõi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ngöôi gieát caùc ñaáng tieân tri vaø neùm ñaù nhöõng keû chòu sai ñeán cuøng ngöôi, bao nhieâu laàn ta muoán nhoùm hoïp caùc con ngöôi nhö gaø maùi tuùc con mình laïi aáp trong caùnh, maø caùc ngöôi chaúng khöùng!

23:38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate.

23:38 Naày, nhaø caùc ngöôi seõ boû hoang!

23:39 For I say unto you, All of you shall not see me henceforth, till all of you shall say, Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.

23:39 Vì, ta baûo, caùc ngöôi seõ khoâng thaáy ta nöõa, cho ñeán luùc caùc ngöôi seõ noùi raèng: Phöôùc cho Ñaáng nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán!

 Ma thi o - Matthew

24:1 And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and his disciples came to him in order to show him the buildings of the temple.

24:2 And Jesus said unto them, See all of you not all these things? verily I say unto you, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.

24:2 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi coù thaáy moïi ñieàu ñoù chaêng? Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñaây seõ khoâng coøn moät hoøn ñaù naøo choàng treân moät hoøn khaùc maø khoâng bò ñoå xuoáng.

24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the world?

24:3 Ngaøi ñöông ngoài treân nuùi oâ-li-ve, moân ñoà tôùi rieâng cuøng Ngaøi, vaø noùi raèng: Xin Chuùa phaùn cho chuùng toâi bieát luùc naøo nhöõng söï ñoù seõ xaûy ra? vaø coù ñieàm gì chæ veà söï Chuùa ñeán vaø taän theá.

24:4 And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.

24:4 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Haõy giöõ, keûo coù keû doã daønh caùc ngöôi.

24:5 For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many.

24:5 Vì nhieàu ngöôøi seõ maïo danh ta ñeán maø noùi raèng: Ta laø Ñaáng Christ; vaø seõ doã daønh nhieàu ngöôøi.

24:6 And all of you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars: see that all of you be not troubled: for all these things must come to pass, but the end is not yet.

24:6 Caùc ngöôi seõ nghe noùi veà giaëc vaø tieáng ñoàn veà giaëc: haõy giöõ mình, ñöøng boái roái, vì nhöõng söï aáy phaûi ñeán; song chöa laø cuoái cuøng ñaâu.

24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.

24:7 Daân naày seõ daáy leân nghòch cuøng daân khaùc, nöôùc noï nghòch cuøng nöôùc kia; nhieàu choã seõ coù ñoùi keùm vaø ñoäng ñaát.

24:8 All these are the beginning of sorrows.

24:8 Song moïi ñieàu ñoù chæ laø ñaàu söï tai haïi.

24:9 Then shall they deliver you up to be afflicted, and shall kill you: and all of you shall be hated of all nations for my name's sake.

24:9 Baáy giôø, ngöôøi ta seõ noäp caùc ngöôi trong söï hoaïn naïn vaø gieát ñi; caùc ngöôi seõ bò moïi daân ghen gheùt vì danh ta.

24:10 And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.

24:10 Khi aáy cuõng coù nhieàu keû seõ sa vaøo chöôùc caùm doã, phaûn nghòch nhau, vaø ghen gheùt nhau.

24:11 And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

24:11 Nhieàu tieân tri giaû seõ noåi leân vaø doã daønh laém keû.

24:12 And because iniquity shall abound, the love (o. agape) of many shall wax cold.

24:12 Laïi vì côù toäi aùc seõ theâm nhieàu thì loøng yeâu meán cuûa phaàn nhieàu ngöôøi seõ nguoäi laàn.

24:13 But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.

24:13 Nhöng keû naøo beàn chí cho ñeán cuoái cuøng, thì seõ ñöôïc cöùu.

24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.

24:14 Tin Laønh naày veà nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi seõ ñöôïc giaûng ra khaép ñaát, ñeå laøm chöùng cho muoân daân. Baáy giôø söï cuoái cuøng seõ ñeán.

24:15 When all of you therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, (whoso reads, let him understand:)

24:15 Khi caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy söï gôùm ghieác taøn naùt laäp ra trong nôi thaùnh, maø ñaáng tieân tri Ña-ni-eân ñaõ noùi (ai ñoïc phaûi ñeå yù),

24:16 Then let them which be in Judaea flee into the mountains:

24:16 thì ai ôû trong xöù Giu-ñeâ haõy troán leân nuùi;

24:17 Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:

24:17 ai ôû treân maùi nhaø, ñöøng xuoáng chuyeân cuûa caûi trong nhaø;

24:18 Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.

24:18 vaø ai ôû ngoaøi ruoäng, ñöøng trôû veà laáy aùo mình.

24:19 And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!

24:19 Ñang luùc ñoù, khoán khoù thay cho ñôøn baø coù mang, vaø ñôøn baø cho con buù!

24:20 But pray all of you that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:

24:20 Haõy caàu nguyeän cho caùc ngöôi khoûi troán traùnh nhaèm luùc muøa ñoâng hay laø ngaøy Sa-baùt;

24:21 For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be.

24:21 vì luùc aáy seõ coù hoaïn naïn lôùn, ñeán noãi töø khi môùi coù trôøi ñaát cho ñeán baây giôø chöa töøng coù nhö vaäy, maø sau naày cuõng khoâng heà coù nöõa.

24:22 And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect's sake those days shall be shortened.

24:22 Neáu nhöõng ngaøy aáy khoâng giaûm bôùt, thì chaúng coù moät ngöôøi naøo ñöôïc cöùu; song vì côù caùc ngöôi ñöôïc choïn, thì nhöõng ngaøy aáy seõ giaûm bôùt.

24:23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.

24:23 Khi aáy, neáu coù ai noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi raèng: Kìa Ñaáng Christ ôû ñaây hay laø: ÔÛ ñoù, thì ñöøng tin.

24:24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect.

24:24 Vì nhieàu christ giaû vaø tieân tri giaû seõ daáy leân, laøm nhöõng daáu lôùn, pheùp laï, neáu coù theå ñöôïc thì hoï cuõng ñeán doã daønh chính nhöõng ngöôøi ñöôïc choïn.

24:25 Behold, I have told you before.

24:25 Naày, ta ñaõ baûo tröôùc cho caùc ngöôi.

24:26 Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.

24:26 Vaäy neáu ngöôøi ta noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi raèng: Naày, Ngaøi ôû trong ñoàng vaéng, thì ñöøng ñi ñeán; naày, Ngaøi ôû trong nhaø thì ñöøng tin.

24:27 For as the lightning comes out of the east, and shines even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

24:27 Vì nhö chôùp phaùt ra töø phöông ñoâng, nhaùng ñeán phöông taây, thì söï Con ngöôøi ñeán seõ cuõng theå aáy.

24:28 For where ever the carcass is, there will the eagles be gathered together.

24:28 Nôi naøo coù xaùc cheát, thì nhöõng chim où seõ nhoùm taïi ñoù.

24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:

24:29 Söï tai naïn cuûa nhöõng ngaøy ñoù vöøa môùi qua, thì maët trôøi lieàn toái taêm, maët traêng khoâng saùng, caùc ngoâi sao töø treân trôøi sa xuoáng, vaø theá löïc cuûa caùc töøng trôøi ruùng ñoäng.

24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

24:30 Khi aáy, ñieàm Con ngöôøi seõ hieän ra ôû treân trôøi, moïi daân toäc döôùi ñaát seõ ñaám ngöïc, vaø thaáy Con ngöôøi laáy ñaïi quyeàn ñaïi vinh ngöï treân maây trôøi maø xuoáng.

24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

24:31 Ngaøi seõ sai thieân söù mình duøng tieáng keøn raát lôùn maø nhoùm laïi nhöõng keû ñaõ ñöôïc löïa choïn cuûa Ngaøi ôû khaép boán phöông, töø cuoái phöông trôøi naày cho ñeán taän phöông kia.

24:32 Now learn a parable of the fig tree; When his branch is yet tender, and puts forth leaves, all of you know that summer is nigh:

24:32 Haõy nghe lôøi ví duï veà caây vaû, vöøa luùc nhaønh non, laù môùi ñaâm, thì caùc ngöôi bieát muøa haï gaàn tôùi.

24:33 So likewise all of you, when all of you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.

24:33 Cuõng vaäy, khi caùc ngöôi thaáy moïi ñieàu aáy, khaù bieát raèng Con ngöôøi gaàn ñeán, Ngaøi ñöông ôû tröôùc cöûa.

24:34 Verily I say unto you, This generation shall not pass, till all these things be fulfilled.

24:34 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, doøng doõi naày chaúng qua tröôùc khi moïi ñieàu naày chaúng qua tröôùc khi moïi ñieàu kia chöa xaûy ñeán.

24:35 Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words (o. logos) shall not pass away.

24:35 Trôøi ñaát seõ qua, nhöng lôøi ta noùi chaúng bao giôø qua ñi.

24:36 But of that day and hour knows no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only.

24:36 Veà ngaøy vaø giôø ñoù, chaúng coù ai bieát chi caû, thieân söù treân trôøi hay laø Con cuõng vaäy, song chæ moät mình Cha bieát thoâi.

24:37 But as the days of Noe were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

24:37 Trong ñôøi Noâ-eâ theå naøo, khi Con ngöôøi ñeán cuõng theå aáy.

24:38 For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,

24:38 Vì trong nhöõng ngaøy tröôùc nöôùc luït, ngöôøi ta aên, uoáng, cöôùi, gaû nhö thöôøng cho ñeán ngaøy Noâ-eâ vaøo taøu,

24:39 And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

24:39 vaø ngöôøi ta khoâng ngôø chi heát cho ñeán khi nöôùc luït tôùi maø ñuøa ñem ñi heát thaûy, khi Con ngöôøi ñeán cuõng nhö vaäy.

24:40 Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

24:40 Luùc aáy, seõ coù hai ngöôøi nam ôû trong moät ñoàng ruoäng, moät ngöôøi ñöôïc ñem ñi, coøn moät ngöôøi bò ñeå laïi;

24:41 Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.

24:41 vaø coù hai ngöôøi nöõ ñöông xay coái, moät ngöôøi ñöôïc ñem ñi, coøn moät ngöôøi bi ñeå laïi.

24:42 Watch therefore: for all of you know not what hour your Lord does come.

24:42 Vaäy haõy tænh thöùc, vì caùc ngöôi khoâng bieát ngaøy naøo Chuùa mình seõ ñeán.

24:43 But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.

24:43 Haõy bieát roõ, neáu ngöôøi chuû nhaø ñaõ hay canh naøo keû troäm seõ ñeán, thì tænh thöùc, khoâng ñeå cho ñaøo ngaïch nhaø mình.

24:44 Therefore be all of you also ready: for in such an hour as all of you think not the Son of man comes.

24:44 Vaäy thì caùc ngöôi cuõng haõy chöïc cho saün, vì Con ngöôøi seõ ñeán trong giôø caùc ngöôi khoâng ngôø.

24:45 Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord has made ruler over his household, to give them food in due season?

24:45 Ai laø ñaày tôù trung tín vaø khoân ngoan, maø ngöôøi chuû ñaët cai trò ñaày tôù mình, ñaëng cho ñoà aên ñuùng giôø?

24:46 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

24:46 Phöôùc cho ñaày tôù ñoù, khi chuû ñeán thaáy laøm nhö vaäy!

24:47 Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.

24:47 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, chuû seõ ñaët keû aáy coi soùc caû gia taøi mình.

24:48 But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delays his coming;

24:48 Neáu, traùi laïi, laø moät ñaày tôù xaáu, noù nghó thaàm raèng: Chuû ta ñeán chaäm,

24:49 And shall begin to strike his fellow servants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;

24:49 beøn ñaùnh keû cuøng laøm vieäc vôùi mình, vaø aên uoáng vôùi phöôøng say röôïu,

24:50 The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looks not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of,

24:50 thì chuû noù seõ ñeán trong ngaøy noù khoâng ngôø vaø giôø noù khoâng bieát.

24:51 And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

24:51 Chuû seõ ñaùnh xeù xöông vaø ñònh phaàn noù ñoàng vôùi keû giaû hình. Ñoù laø nôi seõ coù khoùc loùc vaø nghieán raêng.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

25:1 Then shall the kingdom of heaven be likened unto ten virgins, which took their lamps, and went forth to meet the bridegroom.

25:1 Khi aáy, nöôùc thieân ñaøng seõ gioáng nhö möôøi ngöôøi nöõ ñoàng trinh kia caàm ñeøn ñi röôùc chaøng reå.

25:2 And five of them were wise, and five were foolish.

25:2 Trong caùc naøng ñoù, coù naêm ngöôøi daïi vaø naêm ngöôøi khoân.

25:3 They that were foolish took their lamps, and took no oil with them:

25:3 Ngöôøi daïi khi caàm ñeøn ñi thì khoâng ñem daàu theo cuøng mình.

25:4 But the wise took oil in their vessels with their lamps.

25:4 Song ngöôøi khoân khi caàm ñeøn ñi thì ñem daàu theo trong bình mình.

25:5 While the bridegroom tarried, they all slumbered and slept.

25:5 Vì chaøng reå ñeán treã, neân caùc naøng thaûy ñeàu buoàn nguû vaø nguû guïc.

25:6 And at midnight there was a cry made, Behold, the bridegroom comes; go all of you out to meet him.

25:6 Ñeán khuya, coù tieáng keâu raèng: Kìa, chaøng reå ñeán, haõy ñi ra röôùc ngöôøi!

25:7 Then all those virgins arose, and trimmed their lamps.

25:7 Caùc nöõ ñoàng trinh beøn thöùc daäy caû, söûa soaïn ñeøn mình.

25:8 And the foolish said unto the wise, Give us of your oil; for our lamps are gone out.

25:8 Caùc ngöôi daïi noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi khoân raèng: Xin bôùt daàu cuûa caùc chò cho chuùng toâi, vì ñeøn chuùng toâi gaàn taét.

25:9 But the wise answered, saying, Not so; lest there be not enough for us and you: but go all of you rather to them that sell, and buy for yourselves.

25:9 Nhöng caùc ngöôi khoân traû lôøi raèng: Khoâng, e chaúng ñuû cho chuùng toâi vaø caùc chò; thaø caùc chò haõy ñi ñeán ngöôøi baùn daàu maø mua.

25:10 And while they went to buy, the bridegroom came; and they that were ready went in with him to the marriage: and the door was shut.

25:10 Song trong khi hoï ñang ñi mua, thì chaøng reå ñeán; keû naøo chöïc saün, thì ñi vôùi ngöôøi cuøng vaøo tieäc cöôùi, vaø cöûa ñoùng laïi.

25:11 Afterward came also the other virgins, saying, Lord, Lord, open to us.

25:11 Chaëp laâu, nhöõng ngöôøi nöõ ñoàng trinh khaùc cuõng ñeán vaø xin raèng: Hôõi Chuùa, hôõi Chuùa, xin môû cho chuùng toâi!

25:12 But he answered and said, Verily I say unto you, I know you not.

25:12 Nhöng ngöôøi ñaùp raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ta khoâng bieát caùc ngöôi ñaâu.

25:13 Watch therefore, for all of you know neither the day nor the hour wherein the Son of man comes.

25:13 Vaäy, haõy tænh thöùc, vì caùc ngöôi khoâng bieát ngaøy, cuõng khoâng bieát giôø.

25:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.

25:14 Vaû, nöôùc thieân ñaøng seõ gioáng nhö moät ngöôøi kia, khi ñi ñöôøng xa, goïi caùc ñaày tôù maø giao cuûa caûi mình.

25:15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and immediately took his journey.

25:15 Chuû ñoù cho ngöôøi naày naêm ta-laâng, ngöôøi kia hai, ngöôøi khaùc moät, tuøy theo taøi moãi ngöôøi; ñoaïn, chuû leân ñöôøng.

25:16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.

25:16 Töùc thì, ngöôøi ñaõ nhaän naêm ta-laâng ñi laøm lôïi ra, vaø ñöôïc naêm ta-laâng khaùc.

25:17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.

25:17 Ngöôøi ñaõ nhaän hai ta-laâng cuõng vaäy, laøm lôïi ra ñöôïc hai ta-laâng nöõa.

25:18 But he that had received one went and dug in the earth, and hid his lord's money.

25:18 Song ngöôøi chæ nhaän moät thì ñi ñaøo loã döôùi ñaát maø giaáu tieàn cuûa chuû.

25:19 After a long time the lord of those servants comes, and reckons (o. logos) with them.

25:19 Caùch laâu ngaøy, chuû cuûa nhöõng ñaày tôù aáy trôû veà khieán hoï tính soå.

25:20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Lord, you delivered unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.

25:20 Ngöôøi ñaõ nhaän naêm ta-laâng beøn ñeán, ñem naêm ta-laâng khaùc nöõa, vaø thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, chuùa ñaõ cho toâi naêm ta-laâng; ñaây naày, toâi laøm lôïi ra ñöôïc naêm ta-laâng nöõa.

25:21 His lord said unto him, Well done, you good and faithful servant: you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.

25:21 Chuû noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù ngay laønh trung tín kia, ñöôïc laém; ngöôi ñaõ trung tín trong vieäc nhoû, ta seõ laäp ngöôi coi soùc nhieàu; haõy ñeán höôûng söï vui möøng cuûa chuùa ngöôi.

25:22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Lord, you delivered unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.

25:22 Ngöôøi ñaõ nhaän hai ta-laâng cuõng ñeán maø thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, chuùa ñaõ cho toâi hai ta-laâng; ñaây naày, toâi ñaõ laøm lôïi ra ñöôïc hai ta-laâng nöõa.

25:23 His lord said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; you have been faithful over a few things, I will make you ruler over many things: enter you into the joy of your lord.

25:23 Chuû ñaùp raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù ngay laønh trung tín kia, ñöôïc laém; ngöôi ñaõ trung tín trong vieäc nhoû, ta seõ laäp ngöôi coi soùc nhieàu; haõy ñeán höôûng söï vui möøng cuûa chuùa ngöôi.

25:24 Then he which had received the one talent came and said, Lord, I knew you that you are an hard man, reaping where you have not sown, and gathering where you have not scattered:

25:24 Ngöôøi chæ nhaän moät ta-laâng cuõng ñeán maø thöa raèng: Laïy chuùa, toâi bieát chuùa laø ngöôøi nghieâm nhaët, gaët trong choã mình khoâng gieo, löôïm laët trong choã mình khoâng raûi ra,

25:25 And I was afraid, and went and hid your talent in the earth: lo, there you have that is yours.

25:25 neân toâi sôï maø ñi giaáu ta-laâng cuûa chuùa ôû döôùi ñaát; ñaây naày, vaät cuûa chuùa xin traû cho chuùa.

25:26 His lord answered and said unto him, You wicked and slothful servant, you knew that I reap where I sowed not, and gather where I have not scattered:

25:26 Song chuû ñaùp raèng: Hôõi ñaày tôù döõ vaø bieáng nhaùc kia, ngöôi bieát ta gaët trong choã ta khoâng gieo, vaø löôïm laët trong choã ta khoâng raûi ra;

25:27 You ought therefore to have put my money to the exchangers, and then at my coming I should have received mine own with interest.

25:27 vaäy thì ngöôi phaûi ñöa baïc cuûa ta laïi cho ngöôøi buoân baïc, roài khi ta trôû veà, seõ laáy voán vaø lôøi.

25:28 Take therefore the talent from him, and give it unto him which has ten talents.

25:28 Vaäy, caùc ngöôi haõy laáy ta-laâng cuûa ngöôøi naày maø cho keû coù möôøi ta-laâng.

25:29 For unto every one that has shall be given, and he shall have abundance: but from him that has not shall be taken away even that which he has.

25:29 Vì seõ cho theâm keû naøo ñaõ coù, thì hoï seõ dö daät; nhöng keû naøo khoâng coù, thì cuõng caát luoân ñieàu hoï ñaõ coù nöõa.

25:30 And cast all of you the useless servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

25:30 Coøn teân ñaày tôù voâ ích ñoù, haõy quaêng noù ra ngoaøi laø choã toái taêm, ôû ñoù seõ coù khoùc loùc vaø nghieán raêng.

25:31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

25:31 Khi Con ngöôøi ngöï trong söï vinh hieån mình maø ñeán vôùi caùc thieân söù thaùnh, thì Ngaøi seõ ngoài treân ngoâi vinh hieån cuûa Ngaøi.

25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divides his sheep from the goats:

25:32 Muoân daân nhoùm laïi tröôùc maët Ngaøi, roài Ngaøi seõ chia ngöôøi naày vôùi ngöôøi khaùc ra, nhö keû chaên chieân chia chieân vôùi deâ ra;

25:33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

25:33 ñeå chieân ôû beân höõu vaø deâ ôû beân taû.

25:34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, all of you blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

25:34 Baáy giôø, vua seõ phaùn cuøng nhöõng keû ôû beân höõu raèng: Hôõi caùc ngöôi ñöôïc Cha ta ban phöôùc, haõy ñeán maø nhaän laáy nöôùc thieân ñaøng ñaõ saém saün cho caùc ngöôi töø khi döïng neân trôøi ñaát.

25:35 For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me drink: I was a stranger, and all of you took me in:

25:35 Vì ta ñoùi, caùc ngöôi ñaõ cho ta aên; ta khaùt, caùc ngöôi ñaõ cho ta uoáng; ta laø khaùch laï, caùc ngöôi tieáp röôùc ta;

25:36 Naked, and all of you clothed me: I was sick, and all of you visited me: I was in prison, and all of you came unto me.

25:36 ta traàn truoàng, caùc ngöôi maëc cho ta; ta ñau, caùc ngöôi thaêm ta; ta bò tuø, caùc ngöôi vieáng ta.

25:37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, and fed you? or thirsty, and gave you drink?

25:37 Luùc aáy, ngöôøi coâng bình seõ thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, khi naøo chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy Chuùa ñoùi, maø cho aên; hoaëc khaùt, maø cho uoáng?

25:38 When saw we you a stranger, and took you in? or naked, and clothed you?

25:38 Laïi khi naøo chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy Chuùa laø khaùch laï maø tieáp röôùc; hoaëc traàn truoàng maø maëc cho?

25:39 Or when saw we you sick, or in prison, and came unto you?

25:39 Hay laø khi naøo chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy Chuùa ñau, hoaëc bò tuø, maø ñi thaêm vieáng Chuùa?

25:40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as all of you have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, all of you have done it unto me.

25:40 Vua seõ traû lôøi raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, heã caùc ngöôi ñaõ laøm vieäc ñoù cho moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng ngöôøi raát heøn moïn naày cuûa anh em ta, aáy laø ñaõ laøm cho chính mình ta vaäy.

25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, all of you cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

25:41 Keá ñoù, Ngaøi seõ phaùn cuøng nhöõng ngöôøi ôû beân taû raèng: Hôõi keû bò ruûa, haõy lui ra khoûi ta; ñi vaøo löûa ñôøi ñôøi ñaõ saém saün cho ma quæ vaø nhöõng quæ söù noù.

25:42 For I was an hungered, and all of you gave me no food: I was thirsty, and all of you gave me no drink:

25:42 Vì ta ñaõ ñoùi, caùc ngöôi khoâng cho aên; ta khaùt, caùc ngöôi khoâng cho uoáng;

25:43 I was a stranger, and all of you took me not in: naked, and all of you clothed me not: sick, and in prison, and all of you visited me not.

25:43 ta laø khaùch laï, caùc ngöôi khoâng tieáp röôùc; ta traàn truoàng, caùc ngöôi khoâng maëc cho ta; ta ñau vaø bò tuø, caùc ngöôi khoâng thaêm vieáng.

25:44 Then shall they also answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we you an hungered, or thirsty, or a stranger, or naked, or sick, or in prison, and did not minister unto you?

25:44 Ñeán phieân caùc ngöôi naày beøn thöa laïi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, khi naøo chuùng toâi ñaõ thaáy Chuùa, hoaëc ñoùi, hoaëc khaùt, hoaëc laøm khaùch laï, hoaëc traàn truoàng, hoaëc ñau oám, hoaëc bò tuø maø khoâng haàu vieäc Ngaøi ö?

25:45 Ngaøi seõ ñaùp laïi raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, heã caùc ngöôi khoâng laøm vieäc ñoù cho moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng ngöôøi raát heøn moïn naày, aáy laø caùc ngöôi cuõng khoâng laøm cho ta nöõa.

25:46 And these shall go away into everlasting punishment: but the righteous into life eternal.

25:46 Roài nhöõng keû naày seõ vaøo hình phaït ñôøi ñôøi, coøn nhöõng ngöôøi coâng bình seõ vaøo söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

26:1 And it came to pass, when Jesus had finished all these sayings, (o. logos) he said unto his disciples,

26:1 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn nhöõng lôøi aáy xong roài, thì phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng:

26:2 All of you know that after two days is the feast of the passover, and the Son of man is betrayed to be crucified.

26:2 Caùc ngöôi bieát raèng coøn hai ngaøy nöõa thì ñeán leã Vöôït qua, vaø Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp ñeå chòu ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï.

26:3 Then assembled together the chief priests, and the scribes, and the elders of the people, unto the palace of the high priest, who was called Caiaphas,

26:3 Baáy giôø caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo trong daân nhoùm laïi trong toøa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm teân laø Cai-phe;

26:4 And consulted that they might take Jesus by subtlety, and kill him.

26:4 vaø baøn vôùi nhau duøng möu chöôùc gì ñaëng baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø gieát.

26:5 But they said, Not on the feast day, lest there be an uproar among the people.

26:5 Song hoï noùi raèng: Khoâng neân laøm trong ngaøy leã, e trong daân chuùng sanh ra ñieàu xaøo xaïc chaêng.

26:6 Now when Jesus was in Bethany, in the house of Simon the leper,

26:6 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû laøng Beâ-tha-ni, taïi nhaø Si-moân laø ngöôøi phung,

26:7 There came unto him a woman having an alabaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head, as he sat at food.

26:7 coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø caàm caùi chai baèng ngoïc traéng ñöïng daàu thôm quí giaù laém, ñeán gaàn maø ñoå treân ñaàu Ngaøi ñöông khi ngoài aên.

26:8 But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste?

26:8 Moân ñoà thaáy vaäy, giaän maø traùch raèng: Sao phí cuûa nhö vaäy?

26:9 For this ointment might have been sold for much, and given to the poor.

26:9 Daàu naày coù theå baùn ñöôïc nhieàu tieàn vaø laáy maø thí cho keû ngheøo naøn.

26:10 When Jesus understood it, he said unto them, Why trouble all of you the woman? for she has wrought a good work upon me.

26:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát ñieàu ñoù, beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi laøm khoù cho ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñoù? Ngöôøi ñaõ laøm vieäc toát cho ta;

26:11 For all of you have the poor always with you; but me all of you have not always.

26:11 vì caùc ngöôi thöông coù keû ngheøo ôû cuøng mình, song seõ khoâng coù ta ôû cuøng luoân luoân.

26:12 For in that she has poured this ointment on my body, she did it for my burial.

26:12 Ngöôøi ñoå daàu thôm treân mình ta laø ñeå söûa soaïn choân xaùc ta ñoù.

26:13 Verily I say unto you, Where ever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman has done, be told for a memorial of her.

26:13 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khaép caû theá gian, heã nôi naøo Tin Laønh naày ñöôïc giaûng ra, thì cuõng thuaät laïi vieäc ngöôøi aáy ñaõ laøm ñeå nhôù ñeán ngöôøi.

26:14 Then one of the twelve, called Judas Iscariot, went unto the chief priests,

26:14 Baáy giôø coù moät ngöôøi trong möôøi hai söù ñoà, teân laø Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát, ñeán tìm caùc thaày teá leã caû,

26:15 And said unto them, What will all of you give me, and I will deliver him unto you? And they covenanted with him for thirty pieces of silver.

26:15 maø noùi raèng: Caùc thaày baèng loøng traû cho toâi bao nhieâu ñaëng toâi seõ noäp ngöôøi cho? Hoï beøn traû cho noù ba chuïc baïc.

26:16 And from that time he sought opportunity to betray him.

26:16 Töø luùc ñoù, noù tìm dòp tieän ñeå noäp Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

26:17 Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where will you that we prepare for you to eat the passover?

26:17 Trong ngaøy thöù nhöùt aên baùnh khoâng men, moân ñoà ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø thöa raèng: Thaày muoán chuùng toâi doïn cho thaày aên leã Vöôït qua taïi ñaâu?

26:18 And he said, Go into the city to such a man, and say unto him, The Master says, My time is at hand; I will keep the passover at your house with my disciples.

26:18 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Haõy vaøo thaønh, ñeán nhaø moät ngöôøi kia, maø noùi raèng: Thaày noùi: Giôø ta gaàn ñeán; ta vaø moân ñoà ta seõ giöõ leã Vöôït qua trong nhaø ngöôi.

26:19 And the disciples did as Jesus had appointed them; and they made ready the passover.

26:19 Moân ñoà laøm y nhö lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ daïy maø doïn leã Vöôït qua.

26:20 Now when the even was come, he sat down with the twelve.

26:20 Ñeán toái, Ngaøi ngoài aên vôùi möôøi hai söù ñoà.

26:21 And as they did eat, he said, Verily I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

26:21 Khi ñöông aên, Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi raèng coù moät ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi seõ phaûn ta.

26:22 And they were exceeding sorrowful, and began every one of them to say unto him, Lord, is it I?

26:22 Caùc moân ñoà laáy laøm buoàn böïc laém, vaø laàn löôït hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, coù phaûi toâi khoâng? Ngaøi ñaùp raèng:

26:23 And he answered and said, He that dips his hand with me in the dish, the same shall betray me.

26:23 Keû naøo ñeå tay vaøo maâm vôùi ta, aáy laø keû seõ phaûn ta.

26:24 The Son of man goes as it is written of him: but woe unto that man by whom the Son of man is betrayed! it had been good for that man if he had not been born.

26:24 Con ngöôøi ñi, y theo lôøi ñaõ cheùp veà Ngaøi; song khoán naïn thay cho keû phaûn Con ngöôøi! Thaø noù chaúng sanh ra thì hôn!

26:25 Then Judas, which betrayed him, answered and said, Master, is it I? He said unto him, You have said.

26:25 Giu-ña laø keû phaûn Ngaøi caát tieáng hoûi raèng: Thöa thaày, coù phaûi toâi chaêng? Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Thaät nhö ngöôi ñaõ noùi.

26:26 And as they were eating, Jesus took bread, and blessed it, and brake it, and gave it to the disciples, and said, Take, eat; this is my body.

26:26 Khi ñöông aên, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laáy baùnh, taï ôn roài, beû ra ñöa cho moân ñoà maø raèng: Haõy laáy aên ñi, naày laø thaân theå ta.

26:27 And he took the cup, and gave thanks, and gave it to them, saying, Drink all of you all of it;

26:27 Ngaøi laïi laáy cheùn, taï ôn roài, ñöa cho moân ñoà maø raèng: Heát thaûy haõy uoáng ñi;

26:28 For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins.

26:28 vì naày laø huyeát ta, huyeát cuûa söï giao öôùc ñaõ ñoå ra cho nhieàu ngöôøi ñöôïc tha toäi.

26:29 But I say unto you, I will not drink henceforth of this fruit of the vine, until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father's kingdom.

26:29 Ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, töø raøy veà sau, ta khoâng uoáng traùi nho naày nöõa, cho ñeán ngaøy maø ta seõ uoáng traùi nho môùi cuøng caùc ngöôi ôû trong nöôùc cuûa Cha ta.

26:30 And when they had sung an hymn, they went out into the mount of Olives.

26:30 Khi ñaõ haùt thô thaùnh roài, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø moân ñoà ñi ra maø leân nuùi OÂ-li-ve.

26:31 Then says Jesus unto them, All you shall be offended because of me this night: for it is written, I will strike the shepherd, and the sheep of the flock shall be scattered abroad.

26:31 Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Ñeâm nay caùc ngöôi seõ ñeàu vaáp phaïm vì côù ta, nhö coù cheùp raèng: Ta seõ ñaùnh keû chaên chieân, thì chieân trong baày seõ bò tan laïc.

26:32 But after I am risen again, I will go before you into Galilee.

26:32 Song sau khi ta soáng laïi roài, ta seõ ñi ñeán xöù Ga-li-leâ tröôùc caùc ngöôi.

26:33 Peter answered and said unto him, Though all men shall be offended because of you, yet will I never be offended.

26:33 Phi -e-rô caát tieáng thöa raèng: Daàu moïi ngöôøi vaáp phaïm vì côù thaày, song toâi chaéc khoâng bao giôø vaáp phaïm vaäy.

26:34 Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto you, That this night, before the cock crow, you shall deny me three times.

26:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, chính ñeâm nay, tröôùc khi gaø gaùy, ngöôi seõ choái ta ba laàn.

26:35 Peter said unto him, Though I should die with you, yet will I not deny you. Likewise also said all the disciples.

26:35 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Daàu toâi phaûi cheát vôùi thaày ñi nöõa, toâi chaúng choái thaày ñaâu. Heát thaûy moân ñoà ñeàu noùi y nhö vaäy.

26:36 Then comes Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and says unto the disciples, Sit all of you here, while I go and pray yonder.

26:36 Roài Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà ñi ñeán moät choã keâu laø Gheát-seâ-ma-neâ. Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Haõy ngoài ñaây ñôïi ta ñi caàu nguyeän ñaèng kia.

26:37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.

26:37 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi beøn ñem Phi -e-rô vaø hai ngöôøi con cuûa Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ ñi vôùi mình, töùc thì Ngaøi buoàn böïc vaø saàu naõo laém.

26:38 Then says he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry all of you here, and watch with me.

26:38 Ngaøi beøn phaùn: Linh hoàn ta buoàn böïc cho ñeán cheát; caùc ngöôi haõy ôû ñaây vaø tænh thöùc vôùi ta.

26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as you will.

26:39 Roài Ngaøi böôùc tôùi moät ít, saáp maët xuoáng ñaát maø caàu nguyeän raèng: Cha ôi! neáu coù theå ñöôïc, xin cho cheùn naày lìa khoûi Con! Song khoâng theo yù muoán Con, maø theo yù muoán Cha.

26:40 And he comes unto the disciples, and finds them asleep, and says unto Peter, What, could all of you not watch with me one hour?

26:40 Keá ñoù, Ngaøi trôû laïi vôùi moân ñoà, thaáy ñang nguû, thì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: Theá thì caùc ngöôi khoâng tænh thöùc vôùi ta trong moät giôø ñöôïc!

26:41 Watch and pray, that all of you enter not into temptation: the spirit (o. pneuma) indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.

26:41 Haõy thöùc canh vaø caàu nguyeän, keûo caùc ngöôi sa vaøo chöôùc caùm doã; taâm thaàn thì muoán laém, maø xaùc thòt thì yeáu ñuoái.

26:42 He went away again the second time, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cup may not pass away from me, except I drink it, your will be done.

26:42 Ngaøi laïi ñi laàn thöù hai, maø caàu nguyeän raèng: Cha ôi! neáu cheùn naày khoâng theå lìa khoûi Con ñöôïc maø Con phaûi uoáng thì xin yù Cha ñöôïc neân.

26:43 And he came and found them asleep again: for their eyes were heavy.

26:43 Ngaøi trôû laïi nöõa, thì thaáy moân ñoà coøn nguû; vì maét hoï ñaõ ñöø quaù roài.

26:44 And he left them, and went away again, and prayed the third time, saying the same words. (o. logos)

26:44 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi boû maø laïi ñi caàu nguyeän laàn thöù ba, vaø laëp xin nhö lôøi tröôùc.

26:45 Then comes he to his disciples, and says unto them, Sleep on now, and take your rest: behold, the hour is at hand, and the Son of man is betrayed into the hands of sinners.

26:45 Roài Ngaøi ñi ñeán vôùi moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Baây giôø caùc ngöôi nguû vaø nghæ ngôi ö! Naày, giôø ñaõ gaàn tôùi, Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp trong tay keû coù toäi.

26:46 Rise, let us be going: behold, he is at hand that does betray me.

26:46 Haõy chôø daäy, ñi heø, kìa keû phaûn ta ñeán kia.

26:47 And while he yet spoke, lo, Judas, one of the twelve, came, and with him a great multitude with swords and staves, from the chief priests and elders of the people.

26:47 Khi Ngaøi coøn ñöông phaùn, xaûy thaáy Giu-ña laø moät ngöôøi trong möôøi hai söù ñoà ñeán vôùi moät boïn ñoâng ngöôøi caàm göôm vaø gaäy, maø caùc thaày teá leã vaø caùc tröôûng laõo trong daân ñaõ sai ñeán.

26:48 Now he that betrayed him gave them a sign, saying, Whomsoever I shall kiss, that same is he: hold him fast.

26:48 Ñöùa phaûn Ngaøi ñaõ trao cho boïn ñoù daáu naày: Ngöôøi naøo maø toâi seõ hoân, aáy laø ngöôøi ñoù, haõy baét laáy.

26:49 And forthwith he came to Jesus, and said, Hail, master; and kissed him.

26:49 Töùc thì Giu-ña ñeán gaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø raèng: Chaøo thaày! Roài hoân Ngaøi.

26:50 And Jesus said unto him, Friend, wherefore are you come? Then came they, and laid hands on Jesus and took him.

26:50 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng noù raèng: Baïn ôi! vaäy thì vì vieäc naày maø ngöôi ñeán ñaây sao? Roài chuùng noù ñeán gaàn tra tay baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

26:51 And, behold, one of them which were with Jesus stretched out his hand, and drew his sword, and struck a servant of the high priest's, and stroke off his ear.

26:51 Vaø naày, coù moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng ngöôøi ôû vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus giô tay ruùt göôm ra, ñaùnh ñaày tôù cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, cheùm ñöùt moät caùi tai cuûa ngöôøi.

26:52 Then said Jesus unto him, Put up again your sword into his place: for all they that take the sword shall perish with the sword.

26:52 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Haõy naïp göôm vaøo voû; vì heã ai caàm göôm thì seõ bò cheát veà göôm.

26:53 Think you that I cannot now pray to my Father, and he shall presently give me more than twelve legions of angels?

26:53 Ngöôi töôûng ta khoâng coù theå xin Cha ta laäp töùc cho ta hôn möôøi hai ñaïo thieân söù sao?

26:54 But how then shall the scriptures be fulfilled, that thus it must be?

26:54 Neáu vaäy, theá naøo cho öùng nghieäm lôøi Kinh Thaùnh ñaõ cheùp raèng vieäc naày taát phaûi xaûy ñeán?

26:55 In that same hour said Jesus to the multitudes, Are all of you come out as against a thief with swords and staves in order to take me? I sat daily with you teaching in the temple, and all of you laid no hold on me.

26:55 Luùc baáy giôø, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng chuùng raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñem göôm vaø gaäy ñeán maø baét ta, khaùc naøo nhö ta laø keû cöôùp. Ta thöôøng ngaøy ngoài trong ñeàn thôø vaø giaûng daïy taïi ñoù, maø caùc ngöôi khoâng baét ta.

26:56 But all this was done, that the scriptures of the prophets might be fulfilled. Then all the disciples forsook him, and fled.

26:56 Nhöng moïi ñieàu aáy phaûi xaûy ñeán, haàu cho nhöõng lôøi caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñaõ cheùp ñöôïc öùng nghieäm. Khi aáy, heát thaûy moân ñoà boû Ngaøi maø troán ñi.

26:57 And they that had laid hold on Jesus led him away to Caiaphas the high priest, where the scribes and the elders were assembled.

26:57 Nhöõng keû ñaõ baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñem Ngaøi ñeán nhaø thaày caû thöôïng phaåm Cai-phe, taïi ñoù caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø caùc tröôûng laõo ñaõ nhoùm laïi.

26:58 But Peter followed him far off unto the high priest's palace, and went in, and sat with the servants, to see the end.

26:58 Phi -e-rô theo Ngaøi xa xa cho ñeán saân cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, vaøo ngoài vôùi caùc keû canh giöõ ñaëng coi vieäc aáy ra laøm sao.

26:59 Now the chief priests, and elders, and all the council, sought false witness against Jesus, to put him to death;

26:59 Baáy giôø caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caû toøa coâng luaän kieám chöùng doái veà Ngaøi, cho ñöôïc gieát Ngaøi.

26:60 But found none: yea, though many false witnesses came, yet found they none. At the last came two false witnesses,

26:60 Daàu coù nhieàu ngöôøi laøm chöùng doái coù maët taïi ñoù, song tìm khoâng ñöôïc chöùng naøo caû. Sau heát, coù hai ngöôøi ñeán,

26:61 And said, This fellow said, I am able to destroy the temple of God, and to build it in three days.

26:61 noùi nhö vaày: Ngöôøi naày ñaõ noùi Ta coù theå phaù ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, roài döïng laïi trong ba ngaøy.

26:62 And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answer you nothing? what is it which these witness against you?

26:62 Thaày caû thöôïng phaåm beøn ñöùng daäy maø noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Nhöõng ngöôøi naày laøm chöùng maø kieän ngöôi, ngöôi khoâng thöa laïi gì sao?

26:63 But Jesus held his peace, And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure you by the living God, that you tell us whether you be the Christ, the Son of God.

26:63 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cöù laøm thinh. Thaày caû thöôïng phaåm laïi noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Ta khieán ngöôi chæ Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haèng soáng maø theà, haõy noùi cho chuùng ta, ngöôi coù phaûi laø Ñaáng Christ, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaêng?

26:64 Jesus says unto him, You have said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall all of you see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.

26:64 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät nhö lôøi; vaû laïi, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, veà sau caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy Con ngöôøi ngoài beân höõu quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø ngöï treân maây töø trôøi maø xuoáng.

26:65 Then the high priest rent his clothes, saying, He has spoken blasphemy; what further need have we of witnesses? behold, now all of you have heard his blasphemy.

26:65 Thaày caû thöôïng phaåm beøn xeù aùo mình maø noùi raèng: Noù ñaõ noùi phaïm thöôïng; chuùng ta coøn caàn gì ngöôøi laøm chöùng nöõa sao Caùc ngöôi vöøa nghe lôøi phaïm thöôïng ñoù, thì nghó laøm sao?

26:66 What think all of you? They answered and said, He is guilty of death.

26:66 Chuùng traû lôøi raèng: Noù ñaùng cheát!

26:67 Then did they spit in his face, and buffeted him; and others stroke him with the palms of their hands,

26:67 Hoï beøn nhoå treân maët Ngaøi, ñaám Ngaøi, laïi coù keû vaû Ngaøi,

26:68 Saying, Prophesy unto us, you Christ, Who is he that stroke you?

26:68 maø noùi raèng: Hôõi Ñaáng Christ, haõy noùi tieân tri ñi; cho chuùng ta bieát ai ñaùnh ngöôi.

26:69 Now Peter sat without in the palace: and a damsel came unto him, saying, You also were with Jesus of Galilee.

26:69 Baáy giôø Phi -e-rô vaãn ngoài ngoaøi saân. Coù moät ngöôøi ñaày tôù gaùi ñeán gaàn, maø noùi cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Ngöôi cuõng laø keû ôû vôùi Jeâsus, ngöôøi Ga-li-leâ.

26:70 But he denied before them all, saying, I know not what you says.

26:70 Song Phi -e-rô choái tröôùc maët chuùng maø raèng: Ta khoâng hieåu ngöôi noùi chi.

26:71 And when he was gone out into the porch, another maid saw him, and said unto them that were there, This fellow was also with Jesus of Nazareth.

26:71 Khi ñi ra ngoaøi cöûa, laïi coù moät ñaày tôù gaùi khaùc thaáy ngöôøi, beøn noùi cuøng keû ôû ñoù raèng: Ngöôøi naày cuõng ôû vôùi Jeâsus, ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt.

26:72 And again he denied with an oath, I do not know the man.

26:72 Song Phi -e-rô laïi choái vaø theà raèng: Ta chaúng heà bieát ngöôøi aáy.

26:73 And after a while came unto him they that stood by, and said to Peter, Surely you also are one of them; for your speech betrayed you.

26:73 Moät chaëp nöõa, nhöõng keû ôû gaàn ñoù ñeán gaàn noùi vôùi Phi -e-rô raèng: Chaéc thaät, ngöôi cuõng thuoäc veà ñaûng aáy, vì tieáng noùi cuûa ngöôi khai ngöôi ra.

26:74 Then began he to curse and to swear, saying, I know not the man. And immediately the cock crew.

26:74 Ngöôøi beøn ruûa maø theà raèng: Ta khoâng bieát ngöôøi ñoù ñaâu! Töùc thì gaø gaùy.

26:75 And Peter remembered the word (o. rhema) of Jesus, which said unto him, Before the cock crow, you shall deny me three times. And he went out, and wept bitterly.

26:75 Phi -e-rô nhôù laïi lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn raèng: Tröôùc khi gaø gaùy, ngöôi seõ choái ta ba laàn. Ñoaïn, ngöôøi ñi ra vaø khoùc loùc caùch ñaéng cay.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

27:1 When the morning was come, all the chief priests and elders of the people took counsel against Jesus to put him to death:

27:1 Ñeán saùng mai, caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo trong daân hoäi nghò nghòch cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeå gieát Ngaøi.

27:2 And when they had bound him, they led him away, and delivered him to Pontius Pilate the governor.

27:2 Khi ñaõ troùi Ngaøi roài, hoï ñem noäp cho Phi-laùt, laø quan toång ñoác.

27:3 Then Judas, which had betrayed him, when he saw that he was condemned, repented himself, and brought again the thirty pieces of silver to the chief priests and elders,

27:3 Khi aáy, Giu-ña, laø keû ñaõ phaûn Ngaøi, thaáy Ngaøi bò aùn, thì aên naên, beøn ñem ba chuïc mieáng baïc traû cho caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo,

27:4 Saying, I have sinned in that I have betrayed the innocent blood. And they said, What is that to us? see you to that.

27:4 maø noùi raèng: Toâi ñaõ phaïm toäi vì noäp huyeát voâ toäi! Song hoï ñaùp raèng: Söï ñoù can gì ñeán chuùng ta? Maëc keä ngöôi.

27:5 And he cast down the pieces of silver in the temple, and departed, and went and hanged himself.

27:5 Giu-ña beøn neùm baïc vaøo ñeàn thôø, lieàn trôû ra, ñi thaét coå.

27:6 And the chief priests took the silver pieces, and said, It is not lawful in order to put them into the treasury, because it is the price of blood.

27:6 Nhöng caùc thaày teá leã caû löôïm baïc vaø noùi raèng: Khoâng coù pheùp ñeå baïc naày trong kho thaùnh, vì laø giaù cuûa huyeát.

27:7 And they took counsel, and bought with them the potter's field, to bury strangers in.

27:7 Roài hoï baøn vôùi nhau duøng baïc ñoù mua ruoäng cuûa keû laøm ñoà goám ñeå choân nhöõng khaùch laï.

27:8 Wherefore that field was called, The field of blood, unto this day.

27:8 Nhôn ñoù, ruoäng aáy ñeán nay coøn goïi laø "ruoäng huyeát."

27:9 Then was fulfilled that which was spoken by Jeremy the prophet, saying, And they took the thirty pieces of silver, the price of him that was valued, whom they of the children of Israel did value;

27:9 Baáy giôø ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi ñaáng tieân tri Gieâ-reâ-mi ñaõ noùi raèng: Hoï laáy ba chuïc baïc, laø giaù cuûa Ñaáng ñaõ bò ñònh bôûi con caùi Y-sô-ra-eân,

27:10 And gave them for the potter's field, as the Lord appointed me.

27:10 vaø ñöa baïc aáy maø mua ruoäng cuûa keû laøm ñoà goám y nhö lôøi Chuùa ñaõ truyeàn cho ta.

27:11 And Jesus stood before the governor: and the governor asked him, saying, Are you the King of the Jews? And Jesus said unto him, You says.

27:11 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöùng tröôùc quan toång ñoác, quan hoûi raèng: Coù phaûi ngöôi laø Vua cuûa daân Giu-ña khoâng? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät nhö lôøi.

27:12 And when he was accused of the chief priests and elders, he answered nothing.

27:12 Trong luùc caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo kieän Ngaøi, Ngaøi khoâng ñoái ñaùp gì heát.

27:13 Then said Pilate unto him, Hear you not how many things they witness against you?

27:13 Phi-laùt beøn noùi cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Hoï coù nhieàu ñieàu laøm chöùng kieän ngöôi, ngöôi haù khoâng nghe ñeán sao?

27:14 And he answered him to not a word; (o. rhema) insomuch that the governor marvelled greatly.

27:14 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoâng ñaùp laïi moät lôøi gì, ñeán noãi laøm cho quan toång ñoác laáy laøm laï laém.

27:15 Now at that feast the governor was known to release unto the people a prisoner, whom they would.

27:15 Phaøm ñeán ngaøy leã Vöôït qua, quan toång ñoác thöôøng coù leä tha moät teân tuø tuøy yù daân muoán.

27:16 And they had then a notable prisoner, called Barabbas.

27:16 Ñang luùc aáy, coù moät teân phaïm noåi tieáng, teân laø Ba-ra-ba.

27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will all of you that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ?

27:17 Khi chuùng ñaõ nhoùm laïi, thì Phi-laùt hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi muoán ta tha ngöôøi naøo, Ba-ra-ba hay laø Jeâsus goïi laø Christ?

27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

27:18 Vì quan aáy bieát bôûi loøng ghen gheùt neân chuùng ñaõ noäp Ngaøi.

27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have you nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

27:19 Quan toång ñoác ñöông ngoài treân toøa aùn, vôï ngöôøi sai thöa cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Ñöøng laøm gì ñeán ngöôøi coâng bình ñoù; vì hoâm nay toâi ñaõ bôûi côù ngöôøi maø ñau ñôùn nhieàu trong chieâm bao.

27:20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

27:20 Song caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc tröôûng laõo doã chuùng haõy xin tha Ba-ra-ba vaø gieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus

27:21 The governor answered and said unto them, Whether of the two will all of you that I release unto you? They said, Barabbas.

27:21 Quan toång ñoác caát tieáng hoûi raèng: Trong hai ngöôøi naày, caùc ngöôi muoán ta tha ai? Chuùng thöa raèng: Ba-ra-ba.

27:22 Pilate says unto them, What shall I do then with Jesus which is called Christ? They all say unto him, Let him be crucified.

27:22 Phi-laùt noùi raèng: Vaäy, coøn Jeâsus goïi laø Christ, thì ta seõ xöû theá naøo? Chuùng ñeàu traû lôøi raèng: Ñoùng ñinh noù treân caây thaäp töï!

27:23 And the governor said, Why, what evil has he done? But they cried out the more, saying, Let him be crucified.

27:23 Quan hoûi: Song ngöôøi naày ñaõ laøm vieäc döõ gì? chuùng laïi keâu la lôùn hôn raèng: Ñoùng ñinh noù treân caây thaäp töï!

27:24 When Pilate saw that he could prevail nothing, but that rather a tumult was made, he took water, and washed his hands before the multitude, saying, I am innocent of the blood of this just person: see all of you to it.

27:24 Phi-laùt thaáy mình khoâng thaéng noåi chi heát, maø söï oàn aøo caøng theâm, thì laáy nöôùc röûa tay tröôùc maët thieân haï, maø noùi raèng: Ta khoâng coù toäi veà huyeát cuûa ngöôøi naày; ñieàu ñoù maëc keä caùc ngöôi.

27:25 Then answered all the people, and said, His blood be on us, and on our children.

27:25 Heát thaûy daân chuùng ñeàu ñaùp raèng: Xin huyeát ngöôøi laïi ñoå treân chuùng toâi vaø con caùi chuùng toâi!

27:26 Then released he Barabbas unto them: and when he had scourged Jesus, he delivered him to be crucified.

27:26 Phi-laùt beøn tha teân Ba-ra-ba cho chuùng; vaø khieán ñaùnh ñoøn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, ñoaïn giao Ngaøi ra ñeå ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï.

27:27 Then the soldiers of the governor took Jesus into the common hall, and gathered unto him the whole band of soldiers.

27:27 Lính cuûa quan toång ñoác beøn ñem Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo coâng ñöôøng, vaø nhoùm caû cô binh vaây laáy Ngaøi.

27:28 And they stripped him, and put on him a scarlet robe.

27:28 Hoï coåi aùo Ngaøi ra, laáy aùo ñieàu maø khoaùc cho Ngaøi.

27:29 And when they had intertwined a crown of thorns, they put it upon his head, and a reed in his right hand: and they bowed the knee before him, and mocked him, saying, Hail, King of the Jews!

27:29 Ñoaïn, hoï ñöông moät caùi maõo gai maø ñoäi treân ñaàu, vaø ñeå moät caây saäy trong tay höõu Ngaøi; roài quì xuoáng tröôùc maët Ngaøi maø nhaïo baùng raèng: Laïy Vua cuûa daân Giu-ña.

27:30 And they spit upon him, and took the reed, and stroke him on the head.

27:30 Hoï nhoå treân Ngaøi, vaø laáy caây saäy ñaùnh ñaàu Ngaøi.

27:31 And after that they had mocked him, they took the robe off from him, and put his own raiment on him, and led him away to crucify him.

27:31 Khi ñaõ nhaïo baùng Ngaøi roài, thì hoï coåi aùo ñieàu ra maø maëc aùo cuûa Ngaøi laïi, roài ñem Ngaøi ñi ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï.

27:32 And as they came out, they found a man of Cyrene, Simon by name: him they compelled to bear his cross.

27:32 Khi hoï ñi ra, gaëp moät ngöôøi ôû traønh Sy-ren teân laø Si-moân; thì baét ngöôøi vaùc caây thaäp töï cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Gieâ-xu.

27:33 And when they were come unto a place called Golgotha, that is to say, a place of a skull,

27:33 Ñaõ ñi tôùi moät choã goïi laø Goâ-goâ-tha, nghóa laø choã caùi Soï,

27:34 They gave him vinegar to drink mingled with gall: and when he had tasted thereof, he would not drink.

27:34 hoï cho Ngaøi uoáng röôïu troän vôùi maät ñaéng; song Ngaøi neám, thì khoâng chòu uoáng.

27:35 And they crucified him, and parted his garments, casting lots: that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by the prophet, They parted my garments among them, and upon my vesture did they cast lots.

27:35 Hoï ñaõ ñoùng ñinh Ngaøi treân caây thaäp töï roài, thì baét thaêm maø chia nhau aùo xoáng cuûa Ngaøi.

27:36 And sitting down they watched him there;

27:36 Roài hoï ngoài ñoù maø canh giöõ Ngaøi.

27:37 And set up over his head his accusation written, THIS IS JESUS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

27:37 Phía treân ñaàu Ngaøi hoï ñeå caùi baûng ñeà chöõ chæ veà aùn Ngaøi, raèng: Ngöôøi Naày Laø Jeâsus, Vua Daân Giu-ña.

27:38 Then were there two thieves crucified with him, one on the right hand, and another on the left.

27:38 Cuõng luùc ñoù, hoï ñoùng ñinh hai teân troäm cöôùp vôùi Ngaøi, moät teân ôû caây thaäp töï beân höõu, moät teân ôû caây thaäp töï beân taû.

27:39 And they that passed by reviled him, wagging their heads,

27:39 Nhöõng keû ñi ngang qua ñoù cheâ cöôøi Ngaøi, laéc ñaàu,

27:40 And saying, You that destroys the temple, and build it in three days, save yourself. If you be the Son of God, come down from the cross.

27:40 maø noùi raèng: Ngöôi laø keû phaù ñeàn thôø vaø döïng laïi trong ba ngaøy, haõy cöùu laáy mình ñi! Neáu ngöôi laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, haõy xuoáng khoûi caây thaäp töï!

27:41 Likewise also the chief priests mocking him, with the scribes and elders, said,

27:41 Caùc thaày teá leã caû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø caùc tröôûng laõo cuõng nhaïo Ngaøi raèng:

27:42 He saved others; himself he cannot save. If he be the King of Israel, let him now come down from the cross, and we will believe him.

27:42 Noù ñaõ cöùu keû khaùc maø cöùu mình khoâng ñöôïc. Neáu phaûi Vua daân Y-sô-ra-eân, baây giôø haõy xuoáng khoûi caây thaäp töï ñi, thì chuùng ta môùi tin.

27:43 He trusted in God; let him deliver him now, if he will have him: for he said, I am the Son of God.

27:43 Noù nhôø caäy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; neáu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi yeâu noù thì baây giôø Ngaøi phaûi giaûi cöùu cho, vì noù ñaõ noùi raèng: Ta laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

27:44 The thieves also, which were crucified with him, cast the same in his teeth.

27:44 Hai teân troäm cöôùp bò ñoùng ñinh treân caây thaäp töï vôùi Ngaøi cuõng nhieác moùc Ngaøi nhö vaäy.

27:45 Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land unto the ninth hour.

27:45 Töø giôø thöù saùu ñeán giôø thöù chín, khaép caû xöù ñeàu toái taêm muø mòt.

27:46 And about the ninth hour Jesus cried with a loud voice, saying, Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani? that is to say, My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?

27:46 Öôùc chöøng giôø thöù chín, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus keâu tieáng lôùn leân raèng: EÂ-li, EÂ-li lam-ma sa-baùch-ta-ni? nghóa laø: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi ôi! Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi ôi! sao Ngaøi lìa boû toâi?

27:47 Some of them that stood there, when they heard that, said, This man calls for Elijah.

27:47 Coù maáy ngöôøi ñöùng ñoù, nghe keâu, thì noùi raèng: Noù keâu EÂ-li.

27:48 And immediately one of them ran, and took a sponge, and filled it with vinegar, and put it on a reed, and gave him to drink.

27:48 Lieàn coù moät ngöôøi trong boïn hoï chaïy laáy moät mieáng boâng ñaù, vaø thaám ñaày daám, ñeå treân ñaàu caây saäy maø ñöa cho Ngaøi uoáng.

27:49 The rest said, Let be, let us see whether Elijah will come to save him.

27:49 Nhöng keû khaùc thì laïi noùi raèng: Haõy ñeå vaäy, coi thöû coù EÂ-li ñeán giaûi cöùu noù chaêng.

27:50 Jesus, when he had cried again with a loud voice, yielded up the spirit. (o. pneuma)

27:50 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi keâu leân moät tieáng lôùn nöõa, roài truùt linh hoàn.

27:51 And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in two from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent;

27:51 Vaø naày, caùi maøn trong ñeàn thôø, bò xeù ra laøm hai töø treân chí döôùi, ñaát thì ruùng ñoäng, ñaù lôùn beå ra,

27:52 And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose,

27:52 moà maû môû ra, vaø nhieàu thaây cuûa caùc thaùnh qua ñôøi ñöôïc soáng laïi.

27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.

27:54 Now when the centurion, and they that were with him, watching Jesus, saw the earthquake, and those things that were done, they feared greatly, saying, Truly this was the Son of God.

27:54 Thaày ñoäi vaø nhöõng lính cuøng vôùi ngöôøi canh giöõ Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, thaáy ñaát ruùng ñoäng vaø nhöõng ñieàu xaûy ñeán, thì sôï haõi laém, maø noùi raèng: Thaät ngöôøi naày laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

27:55 And many women were there beholding far off, which followed Jesus from Galilee, ministering unto him:

27:55 Vaû, coù nhieàu ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñöùng coi ôû ñaøng xa, laø ngöôøi ñaõ ñi theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus töø xöù Ga-li-leâ ñeå haàu vieäc Ngaøi.

27:56 Among which was Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James and Joses, and the mother of Zebedees children.

27:56 Trong nhöõng ñôøn baø ñoù coù Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len, Ma-ri, meï cuûa Gia-cô vaø Gioâ-seùp, vaø meï hai con trai cuûa Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ.

27:57 When the even was come, there came a rich man of Arimathaea, named Joseph, who also himself was Jesus' disciple:

27:57 Ñeán chieàu toái, coù moät ngöôøi giaøu, ôû thaønh A-ri-ma-theâ, teân laø Gioâ-seùp, chính laø moät moân ñoà cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus,

27:58 He went to Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus. Then Pilate commanded the body to be delivered.

27:58 ñeán nôi Phi-laùt maø xin xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus. Phi-laùt beøn truyeàn cho.

27:59 And when Joseph had taken the body, he wrapped it in a clean linen cloth,

27:59 Gioâ-seùp laáy xaùc Ngaøi maø boïc trong taám vaûi lieäm traéng,

27:60 And laid it in his own new tomb, which he had hewn out in the rock: and he rolled a great stone to the door of the tomb, and departed.

27:60 vaø ñöa ñeå trong moät caùi huyeät môùi maø ngöôøi ñaõ khieán ñuïc cho mình trong hoøn ñaù; ñoaïn, laên moät hoøn ñaù lôùn ñeán tröôùc cöûa moà, roài ñi.

27:61 And there was Mary Magdalene, and the other Mary, sitting opposite to the tomb.

27:61 Coù Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len vaø Ma-ri khaùc ôû ñoù, ngoài ñoái ngang huyeät.

27:62 Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate,

27:62 Ñeán ngaøy mai (laø ngaøy sau ngaøy saém söûa), caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si cuøng nhau ñeán Phi-laùt

27:63 Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again.

27:63 maø noùi raèng: Thöa Chuùa, chuùng toâi nhôù ngöôøi gian doái naày, khi coøn soáng, coù noùi raèng: Khoûi ba ngaøy thì ta seõ soáng laïi.

27:64 Command therefore that the tomb be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He has risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first.

27:64 Vaäy, xin haõy caét ngöôøi canh maû caån thaän cho ñeán ngaøy thöù ba, keûo moân ñoà noù ñeán laáy troäm xaùc ñi, roài noùi vôùi chuùng raèng: Ngaøi ñaõ töø keû cheát soáng laïi. Söï gian doái sau ñoù seõ teä hôn söï gian doái tröôùc.

27:65 Pilate said unto them, All of you have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as all of you can.

27:65 Phi-laùt noùi vôùi hoï raèng: Caùc ngöôi coù lính canh; haõy ñi canh giöõ theo yù caùc ngöôi.

27:66 So they went, and made the tomb sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch.

27:66 Vaäy, hoï ñi, nieâm phong maû Ngaøi laïi, caét lính canh giöõ, laáy laøm chaéc chaén laém.

 Ma thi o - Matthew

28:1 In the end of the sabbath, as it began to dawn toward the first day of the week, came Mary Magdalene and the other Mary to see the tomb.

28:1 sau ngaøy Sa-baùt, ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, luùc töng töng saùng, coù Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len vaø Ma-ri khaùc ñeán thaêm moä.

28:2 And, behold, there was a great earthquake: for the angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door, and sat upon it.

28:2 Vaø naày, ñaát ruùng ñoäng döõ doäi, vì coù thieân söù cuûa Chuùa ôû treân trôøi xuoáng, ñeán laên hoøn ñaù ra maø ngoài ôû treân.

28:3 His countenance was like lightning, and his raiment white as snow:

28:3 Hình dong cuûa thieân söù gioáng nhö chôùp nhaùng, vaø aùo traéng nhö tuyeát.

28:4 And for fear of him the keepers did shake, and became as dead men.

28:4 Vì ñoù, nhöõng lính canh sôï haõi run raåy, trôû neân nhö ngöôøi cheát.

28:5 And the angel answered and said unto the women, Fear not all of you: for I know that all of you seek Jesus, which was crucified.

28:5 Song thieân söù noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi ñôøn baø ñoù raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñöøng sôï chi caû; vì ta bieát caùc ngöôi tìm Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, laø Ñaáng bò ñoùng ñinh treân thaäp töï giaù.

28:6 He is not here: for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

28:6 Ngaøi khoâng ôû ñaây ñaâu; Ngaøi soáng laïi roài, nhö lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn. Haõy ñeán xem choã Ngaøi ñaõ naèm;

28:7 And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he has risen from the dead; and, behold, he goes before you into Galilee; there shall all of you see him: lo, I have told you.

28:7 vaø haõy ñi mau noùi cho moân ñoà Ngaøi hay raèng Ngaøi ñaõ töø keû cheát soáng laïi. Ñaây naày, Ngaøi ñi tröôùc caùc ngöôi qua xöù Ga-li-leâ; ôû ñoù, caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy Ngaøi. Aáy, ta ñaõ baûo caùc ngöôi.

28:8 And they departed quickly from the tomb with fear and great joy; and did run to bring his disciples word.

28:8 Hai ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñoù beøn voäi vaøng ra khoûi moä, vöøa sôï vöøa caû möøng, chaïy baùo tin cho caùc moân ñoà.

28:9 And as they went to tell his disciples, behold, Jesus met them, saying, All hail. And they came and held him by the feet, and worshipped him.

28:9 Naày, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus gaëp hai ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñoù, thì phaùn raèng: Möøng caùc ngöôi! Hai ngöôøi cuøng ñeán gaàn oâm chôn Ngaøi, vaø thôø laïy Ngaøi.

28:10 Then said Jesus unto them, Be not afraid: go tell my brethren that they go into Galilee, and there shall they see me.

28:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Ñöøng sôï chi caû; haõy ñi baûo cho anh em ta ñi qua xöù Ga-li-leâ, ôû ñoù seõ thaáy ta.

28:11 Now when they were going, behold, some of the watch came into the city, and showed unto the chief priests all the things that were done.

28:11 Trong khi hai ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñoù ñi ñöôøng, thì coù maáy teân lính canh vaøo thaønh thuaät laïi cho caùc thaày teá leã caû bieát moïi vieäc ñaõ xaûy ñeán.

28:12 And when they were assembled with the elders, and had taken counsel, they gave large money unto the soldiers,

28:12 Caùc thaày beøn nhoùm laïi cuøng caùc tröôûng laõo ñaëng baøn luaän, xong roài, thì hoï cho nhöõng lính ñoù nhieàu tieàn baïc,

28:13 Saying, Say all of you, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept.

28:13 maø daën raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy noùi raèng: Moân ñoà noù ñaõ ñeán luùc ban ñeâm, khi chuùng toâi ñöông nguû, maø laáy troäm noù ñi.

28:14 And if this come to the governor's ears, we will persuade him, and secure you.

28:14 Neáu ñieàu aáy thaáu tai quan toång ñoác, thì chuùng ta seõ khuyeân giaûi ngöôøi, vaø laøm cho caùc ngöôi khoûi lo sôï.

28:15 So they took the money, and did as they were taught: and this saying (o. logos) is commonly reported among the Jews until this day.

28:15 Maáy teân lính ñoù laáy baïc, vaø laøm theo nhö lôøi. Tieáng aáy ñaõ ñoàn ra trong daân Giu-ña cho ñeán ngaøy nay.

28:16 Then the eleven disciples went away into Galilee, into a mountain where Jesus had appointed them.
