1:1 Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us,

1:5 THERE was in the days of Herod, the king of Judaea, a certain priest named Zacharias, of the course of Abia: and his wife was of the daughters of Aaron, and her name was Elisabeth.

1:5 Trong ñôøi Heâ-roát, vua nöôùc Giu-ñeâ, coù moät thaày teá leã, veà ban A-bi -a, teân laø Xa-cha-ri; vôï ngöôøi laø EÂ-li-sa-beùt, thuoäc veà chi phaùi A-roân.

1:6 And they were both righteous before God, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the Lord blameless.

1:7 Hai ngöôøi khoâng coù con, vì EÂ-li-sa-beùt son seû, vaø caû hai ñeàu cao tuoåi.

1:8 And it came to pass, that while he executed the priest's office before God in the order of his course,

1:9 According to the custom of the priest's office, his lot was to burn incense when he went into the temple of the Lord.

1:9 Khi ñaõ baét thaêm theo leä caùc thaày caû laäp ra roài, thì ngöôøi ñöôïc goïi vaøo nôi thaùnh cuûa Chuùa ñeå daâng höông.

1:10 And the whole multitude of the people were praying without at the time of incense.

1:10 Ñöông giôø daâng höông, caû ñoaøn daân ñoâng ñeàu ôû ngoaøi caàu nguyeän.

1:11 And there appeared unto him an angel of the Lord standing on the right side of the altar of incense.

1:11 Baáy giôø coù moät thieân söù cuûa Chuùa hieän ra cuøng Xa-cha-ri, ñöùng beân höõu baøn thôø xoâng höông.

1:12 And when Zacharias saw him, he was troubled, and fear fell upon him.

1:12 Xa-cha-ri thaáy thì boái roái sôï haõi.

1:13 But the angel said unto him, Fear not, Zacharias: for your prayer is heard; and your wife Elisabeth shall bear you a son, and you shall call his name John.

1:13 Nhöng thieân söù noùi cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi Xa-cha-ri, ñöøng sôï, vì lôøi caàu nguyeän ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc nhaäm roài. EÂ-li-sa-beùt vôï ngöôi, seõ sanh moät con trai, ngöôi khaù ñaët teân laø Giaêng.

1:14 Con trai ñoù seõ laøm cho ngöôi vui möøng hôùn hôû, vaø nhieàu keû seõ möøng rôõ veà söï sanh ngöôøi ra.

1:15 For he shall be great in the sight of the Lord, and shall drink neither wine nor strong drink; and he shall be filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) even from his mother's womb.

1:15 Vì ngöôøi seõ neân toân troïng tröôùc maët Chuùa; khoâng uoáng röôïu hay laø gioáng gì laøm cho say, vaø seõ ñöôïc ñaày daãy Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh töø khi coøn trong loøng meï.

1:17 chính ngöôøi laïi seõ laáy taâm thaàn quyeàn pheùp EÂ-li maø ñi tröôùc maët Chuùa, ñeå ñem loøng cha trôû veà con caùi, keû loaïn nghòch ñeán söï khoân ngoan cuûa ngöôøi coâng bình, ñaëng söûa soaïn cho Chuùa moät daân saün loøng.

1:18 And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years.

1:18 Xa-cha-ri thöa raèng: Bôûi sao toâi bieát ñöôïc ñieàu ñoù? Vì toâi ñaõ giaø, vôï toâi ñaõ cao tuoåi roài.

1:19 And the angel answering said unto him, I am Gabriel, that stand in the presence of God; and am sent to speak unto you, and to show you these glad tidings.

1:19 Thieân söù traû lôøi raèng: Ta laø Gaùp-ri-eân, ñöùng roài maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; Ngaøi ñaõ sai ta ñeán truyeàn cho ngöôi vaø baùo tin möøng naày.

1:20 And, behold, you shall be dumb, and not able to speak, until the day that these things shall be performed, because you believe not my words, (o. logos) which shall be fulfilled in their season.

1:20 Naày, ngöôi seõ caâm, khoâng noùi ñöôïc cho ñeán ngaøy naøo caùc ñieàu aáy xaûy ra, vì ngöôi khoâng tin lôøi ta, laø lôøi ñeán kyø seõ öùng nghieäm.

1:21 Baáy giôø, daân chuùng ñôïi Xa-cha-ri, vaø laáy laøm laï, vì ngöôøi ôû laâu trong nôi thaùnh.

1:22 And when he came out, he could not speak unto them: and they perceived that he had seen a vision in the temple: for he beckoned unto them, and remained speechless.

1:29 And when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, (o. logos) and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.

1:29 Ma-ri nghe noùi thì boái roái, töï hoûi raèng lôøi chaøo aáy coù nghóa gì.

1:30 And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for you have found favour with God.

3:1 Now in the fifteenth year of the reign of Tiberius Caesar, Pontius Pilate being governor of Judaea, and Herod being tetrarch of Galilee, and his brother Philip tetrarch of Ituraea and of the region of Trachonitis, and Lysanias the tetrarch of Abilene,

3:1 Naêm thöù möôøi laêm ñôøi Seâ-sa Ti-be-rô, khi Boân-xô Phi-laùt laøm quan toång ñoác xöù Giu-ñeâ, Heâ-roát laøm vua chö haàu xöù Ga-li-leâ, Phi-líp em vua aáy laøm vua chö haàu xöù Y-tu-reâ vaø tænh Tra-coâ-nít, Ly-sa-ni -a laøm vua chö haàu xöù A-by-len,

3:2 Annas and Caiaphas being the high priests, the word (o. rhema) of God came unto John the son of Zacharias in the wilderness.

3:2 An-ne vaø Cai-phe laøm thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, thì coù lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi truyeàn cho Giaêng, con Xa-cha-ri, ôû nôi ñoàng vaéng.

3:3 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins;

3:4 As it is written in the book of the words (o. logos) of Isaiah the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare all of you the way of the Lord, make his paths straight.

3:4 nhö lôøi ñaõ cheùp trong saùch ñaáng tieân tri EÂ-sai raèng: Coù tieáng keâu la trong ñoàng vaéng: Haõy doïn ñöôøng Chuùa, ban baèng caùc neûo Ngaøi.

3:5 Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth;

3:6 And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.

3:6 Vaø moïi xaùc thòt seõ thaáy söï cöùu cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

3:7 Then said he to the multitude that came forth to be baptized of him, O generation of vipers, who has warned you to flee from the wrath to come?

3:8 Bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, That God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

3:8 Theá thì, haõy keát quaû xöùng ñaùng vôùi söï aên naên; vaø ñöøng töï noùi raèng: Aùp-ra-ham laø toå phuï chuùng ta; vì ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù theå khieán töø nhöõng ñaù naày sanh ra con caùi cho Aùp-ra-ham ñöôïc.

3:11 He answers and says unto them, He that has two coats, let him impart to him that has none; and he that has food, let him do likewise.

3:14 And the soldiers likewise demanded of him, saying, And what shall we do? And he said unto them, Do violence to no man, neither accuse any falsely; and be content with your wages.

3:18 And many other things in his exhortation preached he unto the people.

3:18 Trong khi Giaêng rao truyeàn Tin Laønh, thì cuõng khuyeân baûo daân chuùng nhieàu ñieàu nöõa.

3:19 But Herod the tetrarch, being reproved by him for Herodias his brother Philip's wife, and for all the evils which Herod had done,

3:21 Now when all the people were baptized, it came to pass, that Jesus also being baptized, and praying, the heaven was opened,

 Lu ca - Luke

4:1 And Jesus being full of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) returned from Jordan, and was led by the Spirit (o. pneuma) into the wilderness,

4:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaày daãy Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh, ôû bôø soâng Gioâ-ñanh veà, thì ñöôïc Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh ñem ñeán trong ñoàng vaéng,

4:2 Being forty days tempted of the devil. And in those days he did eat nothing: and when they were ended, he afterward hungered.

4:2 taïi ñoù, Ngaøi bò ma quæ caùm doã trong boán möôi ngaøy. Trong nhöõng ngaøy aáy, Ngaøi khoâng aên chi heát, kyø ñaõ maõn thì Ngaøi ñoùi.

4:3 And the devil said unto him, If you be the Son of God, command this stone that it be made bread.

4:3 Ma quæ beøn noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Neáu ngöôi laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì haõy khieán ñaù naày trôû neân baùnh ñi.

4:4 And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word (o. rhema) of God.

4:4 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp: Coù cheùp raèng: Loaøi ngöôøi ñöôïc soáng chaúng phaûi chæ nhôø baùnh maø thoâi.

4:5 And the devil, taking him up into an high mountain, showed unto him all the kingdoms of the world in a moment of time.

4:5 Ma quæ ñem Ngaøi leân, cho xem moïi nöôùc theá gian trong giaây phuùt;

4:6 And the devil said unto him, All this power will I give you, and the glory of them: for that is delivered unto me; and to whomsoever I will I give it.

4:6 vaø noùi raèng: Ta seõ cho ngöôi heát thaûy quyeàn pheùp vaø söï vinh hieån cuûa caùc nöôùc ñoù; vì ñaõ giao cho ta heát, ta muoán cho ai tuøy yù ta.

4:7 If you therefore will worship me, all shall be yours.

4:7 Vaäy, neáu ngöôi saáp mình xuoáng tröôùc maët ta, moïi söï ñoù seõ thuoäc veà ngöôi caû.

4:8 And Jesus answered and said unto him, Get you behind me, Satan: for it is written, You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve.

4:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp: Coù cheùp raèng: Ngöôi phaûi thôø phöôïng Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi, vaø chæ haàu vieäc moät mình Ngaøi maø thoâi.

4:9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If you be the Son of God, cast yourself down from behind:

4:9 Ma quæ cuõng ñem Ngaøi ñeán thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñeå Ngaøi treân noùc ñeàn thôø, maø noùi raèng: Neáu ngöôi laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, haõy gieo mình xuoáng ñi;

4:10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over you, to keep you:

4:10 vì coù cheùp raèng: Chuùa seõ truyeàn cho thieân söù gìn giöõ ngöôi,

4:11 And in their hands they shall bear you up, lest at any time you dash your foot against a stone.

4:11 Caùc ñaáng aáy seõ naâng ngöôi trong tay, Keûo ngöôi vaáp chôn nhaèm ñaù naøo chaêng.

4:12 And Jesus answering said unto him, It is said, You shall not tempt the Lord your God.

4:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp: Coù phaùn raèng: Ngöôi ñöøng thöû Chuùa, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi.

4:13 And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season.

4:13 Ma quæ duøng heát caùch caùm doã Ngaøi roài, beøn taïm lìa Ngaøi.

4:14 And Jesus returned in the power of the Spirit (o. pneuma) into Galilee: and there went out a fame of him through all the region round about.

4:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöôïc quyeàn pheùp Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh, trôû veà xöù Ga-li-leâ, vaø danh tieáng Ngaøi ñoàn khaép caùc xöù chung quanh.

4:15 And he taught in their synagogues, being glorified of all.

4:15 Ngaøi daïy doã trong caùc nhaø hoäi, ai naáy ñeàu khen ngôïi Ngaøi.

4:16 And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up in order to read.

4:16 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán thaønh Na-xa-reùt, laø nôi döôõng duïc Ngaøi. Theo thoùi quen, nhaèm ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ngaøi vaøo nhaø hoäi, ñöùng daäy vaø ñoïc.

4:17 And there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written,

4:17 Coù ngöôøi trao saùch tieân tri EÂ-sai cho Ngaøi, Ngaøi dôû ra, gaëp choã coù cheùp raèng:

4:18 The Spirit (o. pneuma) of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,

4:18 Thaàn cuûa Chuùa ngöï treân ta: Vì Ngaøi ñaõ xöùc daàu cho ta ñaëng truyeàn Tin Laønh cho keû ngheøo;

4:19 To preach the acceptable year of the Lord.

4:19 Ngaøi ñaõ sai ta ñeå rao cho keû bò caàm ñöôïc tha, Keû muø ñöôïc saùng, Keû bò haø hieáp ñöôïc töï do; Vaø ñeå ñoàn ra naêm laønh cuûa Chuùa.

4:20 And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister, and sat down. And the eyes of all them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

4:20 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi xeáp saùch, traû laïi cho keû giuùp vieäc, roài ngoài xuoáng; moïi ngöôøi trong nhaø hoäi ñeàu chaêm chæ ngoù Ngaøi.

4:21 And he began to say unto them, This day is this scripture fulfilled in your ears.

4:21 Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Hoâm nay ñaõ ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi Kinh Thaùnh maø caùc ngöôi môùi vöøa nghe ñoù.

4:22 And all bare him witness, and wondered at the gracious words (o. logos) which proceeded out of his mouth. And they said, Is not this Joseph's son?

4:22 Ai naáy ñeàu laøm chöùng veà Ngaøi, laáy laøm laï veà caùc lôøi ñaày ôn laønh töø mieäng Ngaøi ra, vaø noùi raèng: Coù phaûi con Gioâ-seùp chaêng?

4:23 And he said unto them, All of you will surely say unto me this proverb, Physician, heal yourself: whatsoever we have heard done in Capernaum, do also here in your country.

4:23 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Chaéc caùc ngöôi laáy lôøi tuïc ngöõ naày maø noùi cuøng ta raèng: Hôõi thaày thuoác, haõy töï chöõa laáy mình; moïi ñieàu chuùng ta nghe ngöôi ñaõ laøm taïi Ca-beâ-na-um, thì cuõng haõy laøm taïi ñaây, laø queâ höông ngöôi.

4:24 And he said, Verily I say unto you, No prophet is accepted in his own country.

4:24 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khoâng coù moät ñaáng tieân tri naøo ñöôïc troïng ñaõi trong queâ höông mình.

4:25 But I tell you truthfully, many widows were in Israel in the days of Elijah, when the heaven was shut up three years and six months, when great famine was throughout all the land;

4:25 Ta noùi thaät cuøng caùc ngöôi, veà ñôøi EÂ-li, khi trôøi ñoùng chaët trong ba naêm saùu thaùng, caû xöù bò ñoùi keùm, trong daân Y-sô-ra-eân coù nhieàu ñôøn baø goùa;

4:26 But unto none of them was Elijah sent, save unto Sarepta, a city of Sidon, unto a woman that was a widow.

4:26 daàu vaäy, EÂ-li chaúng ñöôïc sai ñeán cuøng moät ngöôøi naøo trong ñaùm hoï, nhöng ñöôïc sai ñeán cuøng moät ñôøn baø goùa ôû Sa-reùp-ta, xöù Si-ñoân.

4:27 And many lepers were in Israel in the time of Eliseus the prophet; and none of them was cleansed, saving Naaman the Syrian.

4:27 Trong ñôøi ñaáng tieân tri EÂ-li-seâ, daân Y-sô-ra-eân cuõng coù nhieàu keû maéc taät phung; song khoâng coù ai laønh saïch ñöôïc, chæ Na -a-man, ngöôøi xöù Sy-ri maø thoâi.

4:28 And all they in the synagogue, when they heard these things, were filled with wrath,

4:28 Ai naáy ôû trong nhaø hoäi nghe nhöõng ñieàu ñoù, thì töùc giaän laém.

4:29 And rose up, and thrust him out of the city, and led him unto the brow of the hill whereon their city was built, that they might cast him down headlong.

4:29 Hoï ñöùng daäy keùo Ngaøi ra ngoaøi thaønh, ñöa Ngaøi leân ñeán choùt nuùi, laø nôi hoï xaây thaønh ôû treân, ñeå quaêng Ngaøi xuoáng;

4:30 But he passing through the midst of them went his way,

4:30 song Ngaøi qua giöõa boïn hoï vaø ñi khoûi.

4:31 And came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

4:31 Ngaøi xuoáng thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um, thuoäc xöù Ga-li-leâ, daïy doã trong ngaøy Sa-baùt.

4:32 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for his word (o. logos) was with power.

4:32 Moïi ngöôøi ñeàu caûm ñoäng veà söï daïy doã cuûa Ngaøi; vì Ngaøi duøng quyeàn pheùp maø phaùn.

4:33 And in the synagogue there was a man, which had a spirit (o. pneuma) of an unclean devil, and cried out with a loud voice,

4:33 Vaû, trong nhaø hoäi coù moät ngöôøi bò taø ma aùm, caát tieáng keâu lôùn leân raèng: Hôõi Jeâsus Na-xa-reùt!

4:34 Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with you, you Jesus of Nazareth? are you come to destroy us? I know you who you are; the Holy One of God.

4:34 Chuùng toâi vôùi Ngaøi coù söï gì chaêng? Ngaøi ñeán ñeå dieät chuùng toâi sao? Toâi bieát Ngaøi laø ai: laø Ñaáng Thaùnh cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi!

4:35 And Jesus rebuked him, saying, Hold your peace, and come out of him. And when the devil had thrown him in the midst, he came out of him, and hurt him not.

4:35 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus quôû naëng noù, maø raèng: Haõy nín ñi, vaø ra khoûi ngöôøi naày. Quæ beøn vaät ngaõ ngöôøi giöõa ñaùm ñoâng, roài ra khoûi khoâng laøm haïi chi ñeán ngöôøi.

4:36 And they were all amazed, and spoke among themselves, saying, What a word (o. logos) is this! for with authority and power he commands the unclean spirits, (o. pneuma) and they come out.

4:36 Moïi ngöôøi ñeàu söõng sôø, noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Aáy laø ñaïo gì ñoù? Ngöôøi laáy pheùp vaø quyeàn ñuoåi taø ma, vaø chuùng noù lieàn ra!

4:37 And the fame of him went out into every place of the country round about.

4:37 Vaäy danh tieáng Ngaøi ñoàn ra caùc nôi xung quanh.

4:38 And he arose out of the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. And Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever; and they besought him for her.

4:38 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ra khoûi nhaø hoäi, vaøo nhaø Si-moân. Baø gia Si-moân ñang ñau reùt naëng laém. Ngöôøi ta xin Ngaøi chöõa cho,

4:39 And he stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her: and immediately she arose and ministered unto them.

4:39 Ngaøi beøn nghieâng mình treân ngöôøi, truyeàn cho côn reùt, reùt lieàn lìa khoûi. Töùc thì ngöôøi chôø daäy haàu vieäc.

4:40 Now when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with divers diseases brought them unto him; and he laid his hands on every one of them, and healed them.

4:40 Khi maët trôøi laën roài, ai naáy coù ngöôøi ñau, baát kyø bònh gì, ñeàu ñem ñeán cuøng Ngaøi; Ngaøi ñaët tay leân töøng ngöôøi maø chöõa cho hoï.

4:41 And devils also came out of many, crying out, and saying, You are Christ the Son of God. And he rebuking them suffered them not to speak: for they knew that he was Christ.

4:41 Cuõng coù caùc quæ ra khoûi nhieàu keû, maø keâu leân raèng: Ngaøi laø Ñaáng Christ, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi! Nhöng Ngaøi quôû naëng chuùng noù, caám khoâng cho noùi mình bieát Ngaøi laø Ñaáng Christ.

4:42 And when it was day, he departed and went into a desert place: and the people sought him, and came unto him, and stayed him, that he should not depart from them.

4:42 Vöøa raïng ngaøy, Ngaøi ra ñi ñeán nôi vaéng veû, moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng keùo ñi tìm Ngaøi. Hoï theo kòp, giöõ Ngaøi ôû laïi, khoâng muoán ñeå Ngaøi ñi.

4:43 And he said unto them, I must preach the kingdom of God to other cities also: for therefore am I sent.

4:43 Nhöng Ngaøi phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ta cuõng phaûi rao Tin Laønh cuûa nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nôi caùc thaønh khaùc; vì coát taïi vieäc ñoù maø ta ñöôïc sai ñeán.

4:44 And he preached in the synagogues of Galilee.

 Lu ca - Luke

5:1 And it came to pass, that, as the people pressed upon him to hear the word (o. logos) of God, he stood by the lake of Gennesaret,

5:1 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, treân bôø hoà Gheâ-neâ-xa-reát, ñoaøn daân ñoâng chen laán nhau xung quanh Ngaøi ñaëng nghe ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

5:2 And saw two ships standing by the lake: but the fishermen were gone out of them, and were washing their nets.

5:2 Ngaøi thaáy hai chieác thuyeàn ñaäu gaàn bôø, ngöôøi ñaùnh caù ñaõ xuoáng khoûi thuyeàn giaët löôùi,

5:3 And he entered into one of the ships, which was Simon's, and prayed him that he would thrust out a little from the land. And he sat down, and taught the people out of the ship.

5:3 thì Ngaøi leân moät chieác thuyeàn trong hai chieác, laø chieác cuûa Si-moân, bieåu ngöôøi ñem ra khoûi bôø moät chuùt; roài Ngaøi ngoài maø daïy doã daân chuùng.

5:4 Now when he had left speaking, he said unto Simon, Launch out into the deep, and let down your nets for a draught.

5:4 Khi Ngaøi phaùn xong thì bieåu Si-moân raèng: Haõy cheøo ra ngoaøi saâu, thaû löôùi maø ñaùnh caù.

5:5 And Simon answering said unto him, Master, we have toiled all the night, and have taken nothing: nevertheless at your word (o. rhema) I will let down the net.

5:5 Si-moân thöa raèng: Thöa thaày, chuùng toâi ñaõ laøm suoát ñeâm khoâng baét ñöôïc chi heát; daàu vaäy, toâi cuõng theo lôøi thaày maø thaû löôùi.

5:6 And when they had this done, they enclosed a great multitude of fishes: and their net brake.

5:6 Hoï thaû löôùi xuoáng, ñöôïc nhieàu caù laém, ñeán noãi löôùi phaûi ñöùt ra.

5:7 And they beckoned unto their partners, which were in the other ship, that they should come and help them. And they came, and filled both the ships, so that they began to sink.

5:7 Hoï beøn ra voïi goïi ñoàng baïn mình ôû thuyeàn khaùc ñeán giuùp; baïn kia ñeán chôû caù ñaày hai chieác thuyeàn, ñeán noãi gaàn chìm.

5:8 When Simon Peter saw it, he fell down at Jesus' knees, saying, Depart from me; for I am a sinful man, O Lord.

5:8 Si-moân Phi -e-rô thaáy vaäy, lieàn saáp mình xuoáng ngang ñaàu goái Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin ra khoûi toâi, vì toâi laø ngöôøi coù toäi.

5:9 For he was astonished, and all that were with him, at the draught of the fishes which they had taken:

5:9 Soá laø, vì ñaùnh caù döôøng aáy, neân Si-moân cuøng moïi ngöôøi ôû vôùi mình ñeàu thaát kinh; Gia-cô vaø Giaêng con Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ, laø nhöõng keû ñoàng baïn vôùi Si-moân cuõng ñoàng moät theå aáy.

5:10 And so was also James, and John, the sons of Zebedee, which were partners with Simon. And Jesus said unto Simon, Fear not; from henceforth you shall catch men.

5:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng Si-moân raèng: Ñöøng sôï chi, töø nay trôû ñi, ngöôi seõ neân tay ñaùnh löôùi ngöôøi.

5:11 And when they had brought their ships to land, they forsook all, and followed him.

5:11 Ñoaïn, hoï ñem thuyeàn vaøo bôø, boû heát thaûy maø theo Ngaøi.

5:12 And it came to pass, when he was in a certain city, behold a man full of leprosy: who seeing Jesus fell on his face, and besought him, saying, Lord, if you will, you can make me clean.

5:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông ôû trong thaønh kia, coù moät ngöôøi maéc bònh phung ñaày mình, thaáy Ngaøi thì saáp maët xuoáng ñaát, maø naøi xin raèng: Laïy Chuùa, neáu Chuùa khöùng, chaéc coù theå laøm cho toâi ñöôïc saïch!

5:13 And he put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will: be you clean. And immediately the leprosy departed from him.

5:13 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus giô tay rôø ñeán ngöôøi aáy, maø phaùn raèng: Ta khöùng, haõy saïch ñi. Töùc thì, bònh phung lieàn heát.

5:14 And he charged him to tell no man: but go, and show yourself to the priest, and offer for your cleansing, according as Moses commanded, for a testimony unto them.

5:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caám ngöôøi ñoù hoïc chuyeän laïi vôùi ai; nhöng daën raèng: Haõy ñi toû mình cuøng thaày teá leã; vaø daâng cuûa leã veà söï ngöôi ñöôïc saïch, theo nhö Moâi-se daïy, ñeå ñieàu ñoù laøm chöùng cho hoï.

5:15 But so much the more went there a fame (o. logos) abroad of him: and great multitudes came together to hear, and to be healed by him of their infirmities.

5:15 Danh tieáng Ngaøi caøng ngaøy caøng vang ra, vaø moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng nhoùm hoïp ñeå nghe Ngaøi vaø ñeå ñöôïc chöõa laønh bònh.

5:16 And he withdrew himself into the wilderness, and prayed.

5:16 Song Ngaøi laùnh ñi nôi ñoàng vaéng maø caàu nguyeän.

5:17 And it came to pass on a certain day, as he was teaching, that there were Pharisees and doctors of the law sitting by, which were come out of every town of Galilee, and Judaea, and Jerusalem: and the power of the Lord was present to heal them.

5:17 Moät ngaøy kia, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñang daïy doã, coù ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø maáy thaày daïy luaät töø caùc laøng xöù Ga-li-leâ, xöù Giu-ñeâ, vaø thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeàu ñeán, ngoài taïi ñoù, quyeàn pheùp Chuùa ôû trong Ngaøi ñeå chöõa laønh caùc bònh.

5:18 And, behold, men brought in a bed a man which was taken with a palsy: and they sought means to bring him in, and to lay him before him.

5:18 Baáy giôø, coù maáy ngöôøi khieâng moät keû ñau baïi treân giöôøng, kieám caùch ñem vaøo ñeå tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

5:19 And when they could not find by what way they might bring him in because of the multitude, they went upon the housetop, and let him down through the tiling with his couch into the midst before Jesus.

5:19 Nhôn vì ngöôøi ñoâng laém khoâng bieát bôûi ñaâu maø qua, hoï beøn treøo leân maùi nhaø, dôõ ngoùi ra, doøng ngöôøi vaø giöôøng nhoû xuoáng tröôùc maët Ngaøi, giöõa ñaùm ñoâ hoäi.

5:20 And when he saw their faith, he said unto him, Man, your sins are forgiven you.

5:20 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy ñöùc tin cuûa hoï, beøn phaùn raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi, toäi loãi ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tha.

5:21 And the scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, Who is this which speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?

5:21 Caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø Pha-ri-si beøn nghò luaän raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø ai maø noùi phaïm thöôïng vaäy? Ngoaøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, haù coù ai tha toäi ñöôïc sao?

5:22 But when Jesus perceived their thoughts, he answering said unto them, What reason all of you in your hearts?

5:22 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát yù töôûng hoï, caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi nghò luaän gì trong loøng?

5:23 Whether is easier, to say, Your sins be forgiven you; or to say, Rise up and walk?

5:23 Nay noùi raèng: Toäi ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tha, hoaëc raèng: Ngöôi haõy ñöùng daäy maø ñi, thì beân naøo deã hôn?

5:24 But that all of you may know that the Son of man has power upon earth to forgive sins, (he said unto the sick of the palsy,) I say unto you, Arise, and take up your couch, and go into yours house.

5:24 Vaû, haàu cho caùc ngöôi bieát Con ngöôøi ôû theá gian coù quyeàn tha toäi: Ngaøi phaùn cuøng keû baïi raèng: Ta bieåu ngöôi ñöùng daäy, vaùc giöôøng trôû veà nhaø.

5:25 And immediately he rose up before them, and took up that whereon he lay, and departed to his own house, glorifying God.

5:25 Töùc thì keû baïi ñöùng daäy tröôùc maët chuùng, vaùc giöôøng mình ñaõ naèm, vaø ñi veà nhaø, ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

5:26 And they were all amazed, and they glorified God, and were filled with fear, saying, We have seen strange things to day.

5:26 Ai naáy ñeàu söõng sôø, ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; vaø sôï seät laém maø noùi raèng: Hoâm nay chuùng ta ñaõ thaáy nhöõng vieäc dò thöôøng.

5:27 And after these things he went forth, and saw a publican, named Levi, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he said unto him, Follow me.

5:27 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ra ngoaøi, thaáy moät ngöôøi thaâu thueá, teân laø Leâ-vi, ñöông ngoài taïi sôû thaâu thueá. Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: haõy theo ta!

5:28 And he left all, rose up, and followed him.

5:28 Leâ-vi boû heát moïi söï, ñöùng daäy ñi theo Ngaøi.

5:29 And Levi made him a great feast in his own house: and there was a great company of publicans and of others that sat down with them.

5:29 Leâ-vi doïn tieäc troïng theå ñaõi Ngaøi taïi nhaø mình, coù nhieàu ngöôøi thaâu thueá vaø keû khaùc cuøng ngoài aên ñoàng baøn.

5:30 But their scribes and Pharisees murmured against his disciples, saying, Why do all of you eat and drink with publicans and sinners?

5:30 Caùc ngöôøi Pha-ri-si vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo hoï laèm baèm, noùi cuøng moân ñoà Ngaøi raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi aên uoáng vôùi ngöôøi thaâu thueá vaø keû phaïm toäi?

5:31 And Jesus answering said unto them, They that are whole need not a physician; but they that are sick.

5:31 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Khoâng phaûi ngöôøi khoûe maïnh caàn thaày thuoác, song laø ngöôøi ñau oám.

5:32 I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

5:32 Ta Khoâng phaûi ñeán goïi keû coâng bình hoái caûi, song goïi keû coù toäi.

5:33 And they said unto him, Why do the disciples of John fast often, and make prayers, and likewise the disciples of the Pharisees; but yours eat and drink?

5:33 Hoï thöa Ngaøi raèng: moân ñoà cuûa Giaêng thöôøng kieâng aên caàu nguyeän, cuõng nhö moân ñoà cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, chaúng nhö moân ñoà cuûa thaày aên vaø uoáng.

5:34 And he said unto them, Can all of you make the children of the bride-chamber fast, while the bridegroom is with them?

5:34 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Trong khi chaøng reå coøn ôû cuøng baïn möøng cöôùi mình, caùc ngöôi deã baét hoï phaûi kieâng aên ñöôïc sao?

5:35 But the days will come, when the bridegroom shall be taken away from them, and then shall they fast in those days.

5:35 Song ñeán ngaøy naøo chaøng reå phaûi ñem ñi khoûi hoï, thì trong nhöõng ngaøy aáy hoï môùi kieâng aên vaäy.

5:36 And he spoke also a parable unto them; No man puts a piece of a new garment upon an old; if otherwise, then both the new makes a rent, and the piece that was taken out of the new agrees not with the old.

5:36 Ngaøi laïi laáy thí duï maø phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Khoâng ai xeù moät mieáng aùo môùi maø vaø aùo cuõ. Neáu vaäy, aùo môùi phaûi raùch, vaø mieáng gieû môùi cuõng khoâng xöùng vôùi aùo cuõ.

5:37 And no man puts new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.

5:37 Cuõng khoâng ai ñoå röôïu môùi vaøo baàu da cuõ, neáu vaäy, röôïu môùi laøm nöùt baàu ra; röôïu chaûy maát vaø baàu cuõng phaûi hö ñi.

5:38 But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.

5:38 Song röôïu môùi phaûi ñoå vaøo baàu môùi.

5:39 No man also having drunk old wine immediately desires new: for he says, The old is better.

5:39 Laïi cuõng khoâng ai uoáng röôïu cuõ laïi ñoøi röôïu môùi; vì ngöôøi noùi raèng: Röôïu cuõ ngon hôn.

 Lu ca - Luke

6:1 And it came to pass on the second sabbath after the first, that he went through the corn fields; and his disciples plucked the ears of corn, and did eat, rubbing them in their hands.

6:1 Nhaèm ngaøy Sa-baùt, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi qua giöõa ñoàng luùa mì, moân ñoà böùt boâng luùa, laáy tay voø ñi vaø aên.

6:2 And certain of the Pharisees said unto them, Why do all of you that which is not lawful to do on the sabbath days?

6:2 Coù maáy ngöôøi Pha-ri-si noùi raèng: Sao caùc ngöôi laøm ñieàu khoâng neân laøm trong ngaøy Sa-baùt?

6:3 And Jesus answering them said, Have all of you not read so much as this, what David did, when himself was an hungered, and they which were with him;

6:3 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Vaäy caùc ngöôi chöa ñoïc chuyeän vua Ña-vít laøm trong khi vua cuøng keû ñi theo bò ñoùi sao?

6:4 How he went into the house of God, and did take and eat the showbread, and gave also to them that were with him; which it is not lawful to eat but for the priests alone?

6:4 Theå naøo vua vaøo ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laáy baùnh baøy ra maø aên, vaø cho keû ñi theo aên nöõa, daàu laø baùnh chæ caùc thaày teá leã môùi ñöôïc pheùp aên thoâi?

6:5 And he said unto them, That the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.

6:5 Ngaøi laïi phaùn raèng: Con ngöôøi cuõng laø Chuùa ngaøy Sa-baùt.

6:6 And it came to pass also on another sabbath, that he entered into the synagogue and taught: and there was a man whose right hand was withered.

6:6 Moät ngaøy Sa-baùt khaùc, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaøo nhaø hoäi daïy doã. Taïi ñoù, coù moät ngöôøi baøn tay höõu bò teo.

6:7 And the scribes and Pharisees watched him, whether he would heal on the sabbath day; that they might find an accusation against him.

6:7 Vaû, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si chaêm chæ xem Ngaøi, coi thöû Ngaøi coù chöõa bònh trong ngaøy Sa-baùt chaêng, ñeå tìm dòp maø caùo Ngaøi.

6:8 But he knew their thoughts, and said to the man which had the withered hand, Rise up, and stand forth in the midst. And he arose and stood forth.

6:8 Nhöng Ngaøi bieát yù töôûng hoï, neân phaùn cuøng ngöôøi teo tay raèng: Haõy chôø daäy, ñöùng giöõa chuùng ta. Ngöôøi aáy chôø daäy, vaø ñöùng leân.

6:9 Then said Jesus unto them, I will ask you one thing; Is it lawful on the sabbath days to do good, or to do evil? to save life, or to destroy it?

6:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi lieàn phaùn cuøng hoï raèng: Ta hoûi caùc ngöôi: Trong ngaøy Sa-baùt, neân laøm ñieàu laønh hay laø laøm ñieàu döõ, neân cöùu ngöôøi hay laø gieát ngöôøi?

6:10 And looking round about upon them all, he said unto the man, Stretch forth your hand. And he did so: and his hand was restored whole as the other.

6:10 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi laáy maét lieác khaép moïi ngöôøi xung quanh mình, roài phaùn cuøng ngöôøi bònh raèng: Haõy giô tay ra. Ngöôøi giô ra, thì ñöôïc laønh.

6:11 And they were filled with madness; and communed one with another what they might do to Jesus.

6:11 Nhöng hoï giaän laém, beøn baøn cuøng nhau veà vieäc mình coù theå xöû vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caùch naøo.

6:12 And it came to pass in those days, that he went out into a mountain to pray, and continued all night in prayer to God.

6:12 Trong luùc ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi leân nuùi ñeå caàu nguyeän; vaø thöùc thaâu ñeâm caàu nguyeän Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

6:13 And when it was day, he called unto him his disciples: and of them he chose twelve, whom also he named apostles;

6:13 Ñeán saùng ngaøy, Ngaøi ñoøi moân ñoà ñeán, choïn möôøi hai ngöôøi, goïi laø söù ñoà:

6:14 Simon, (whom he also named Peter,) and Andrew his brother, James and John, Philip and Bartholomew,

6:14 Si-moân, Ngaøi ñaët teân laø Phi -e-rô, Anh-reâ em ruoät cuûa Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô vaø Giaêng, Phi-líp vaø Ba-theâ-leâ-my,

6:15 Matthew and Thomas, James the son of Alphaeus, and Simon called Zelotes,

6:15 Ma-thi -ô vaø Thoâ-ma, Gia-cô con cuûa A-pheâ, Si-moân goïi laø Xeâ-loát,

6:16 And Judas the brother of James, and Judas Iscariot, which also was the traitor.

6:16 Giu-ñeâ con cuûa Gia-cô vaø Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát laø keû phaûn Ngaøi.

6:17 And he came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of his disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear him, and to be healed of their diseases;

6:17 Keá ñoù, Ngaøi cuøng moân ñoà xuoáng, döøng laïi nôi ñoàng baèng. ÔÛ ñoù, coù nhieàu moân ñoà Ngaøi cuøng ñoaøn daân raát ñoâng töø khaép xöù Giu-ñeâ, thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø mieàn bieån Ty-rô, Si-ñoân maø ñeán, ñeå nghe Ngaøi daïy vaø cho ñöôïc chöõa laønh bònh mình.

6:18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: (o. pneuma) and they were healed.

6:18 Nhöõng keû maéc taø ma khuaáy haïi cuõng ñeàu ñöôïc laønh.

6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch him: for there went virtue out of him, and healed them all.

6:19 Caû ñoaøn daân ñeán kieám caùch rôø Ngaøi, vì töø Ngaøi coù quyeàn pheùp ra, chöõa laønh heát moïi ngöôøi.

6:20 And he lifted up his eyes on his disciples, and said, Blessed be all of you poor: for yours is the kingdom of God.

6:20 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn ngöôùc maét ngoù moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Phöôùc cho caùc ngöôi ngheøo khoù, vì nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thuoäc veà caùc ngöôi!

6:21 Blessed are all of you that hunger now: for all of you shall be filled. Blessed are all of you that weep now: for all of you shall laugh.

6:21 Phöôùc cho caùc ngöôi hieän ñöông ñoùi, vì seõ ñöôïc no ñuû! Phöôùc cho caùc ngöôi hieän ñöông khoùc loùc, vì seõ ñöôïc vui möøng!

6:22 Blessed are all of you, when men shall hate you, and when they shall separate you from their company, and shall reproach you, and cast out your name as evil, for the Son of man's sake.

6:22 Phöôùc cho caùc ngöôi khi vì côù Con ngöôøi, thieân haï seõ gheùt, ñuoåi, maéng nhieác caùc ngöôi, boû teân caùc ngöôi nhö ñoà oâ ueá!

6:23 Rejoice all of you in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

6:23 Ngaøy ñoù, haõy vui veû, nhaûy nhoùt vaø möøng rôõ, vì phaàn thöôûng caùc ngöôi treân trôøi seõ lôùn laém; bôûi toå phuï hoï cuõng ñoái ñaõi caùc ñaáng tieân tri döôøng aáy.

6:24 But woe unto you that are rich! for all of you have received your consolation.

6:24 Song, khoán cho caùc ngöôi vaø ngöôøi giaøu coù, vì ñaõ ñöôïc söï yeân uûi cuûa mình roài!

6:25 Woe unto you that are full! for all of you shall hunger. Woe unto you that laugh now! for all of you shall mourn and weep.

6:25 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi laø keû hieän ñöông no, vì seõ ñoùi! Khoán cho caùc ngöôi laø keû hieän ñöông cöôøi, vì seõ ñeå tang vaø khoùc loùc!

6:26 Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you! for so did their fathers to the false prophets.

6:26 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, khi moïi ngöôøi seõ khen caùc ngöôi, vì toå phuï hoï cuõng xöû vôùi caùc tieân tri giaû nhö vaäy!

6:27 But I say unto you which hear, Love your enemies, do good to them which hate you,

6:27 Nhöng ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, laø ngöôøi nghe ta: Haõy yeâu keû thuø mình, laøm ôn cho keû gheùt mình,

6:28 Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

6:28 chuùc phöôùc cho keû ruûa mình, vaø caàu nguyeän cho keû sæ nhuïc mình.

6:29 And unto him that strikes you on the one cheek offer also the other; and him that takes away your cloak forbid not to take your coat also.

6:29 Ai vaû ngöôi maù beân naày, haõy ñöa luoân maù beân kia cho hoï; coøn neáu ai döït aùo ngoaøi cuûa ngöôi, thì cuõng ñöøng ngaên hoï laáy luoân aùo trong.

6:30 Give to every man that asks of you; and of him that takes away your goods ask them not again.

6:30 Heã ai xin, haõy cho, vaø neáu coù ai ñoaït laáy cuûa caùc ngöôi, thì ñöøng ñoøi laïi.

6:31 And as all of you would that men should do to you, do all of you also to them likewise.

6:31 Caùc ngöôi muoán ngöôøi ta laøm cho mình theå naøo, haõy laøm cho ngöôøi ta theå aáy.

6:32 For if all of you love them which love you, what thank have all of you? for sinners also love those that love them.

6:32 Neáu caùc ngöôi yeâu keû yeâu mình, thì coù ôn chi? Ngöôøi coù toäi cuõng yeâu keû yeâu mình.

6:33 And if all of you do good to them which do good to you, what thank have all of you? for sinners also do even the same.

6:33 Neáu caùc ngöôi laøm ôn cho keû laøm ôn mình, thì coù ôn chi? Ngöôøi coù toäi cuõng laøm nhö vaäy.

6:34 And if all of you lend to them of whom all of you hope to receive, what thank have all of you? for sinners also lend to sinners, to receive as much again.

6:34 Neáu caùc ngöôi cho ai möôïn maø mong hoï traû, thì coù ôn chi? Ngöôøi coù toäi cuõng cho ngöôøi coù toäi möôïn, ñeå ñöôïc thaâu laïi y soá.

6:35 But love all of you your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and all of you shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil.

6:35 Song caùc ngöôi haõy yeâu keû thuø mình; haõy laøm ôn, haõy cho möôïn, maø ñöøng ngaõ loøng. Vaäy, phaàn thöôûng cuûa caùc ngöôi seõ lôùn, vaø caùc ngöôi seõ laøm con cuûa Ñaáng Raát Cao, vì Ngaøi laáy nhôn töø ñoái ñaõi keû baïc vaø keû döõ.

6:36 Be all of you therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.

6:36 Haõy thöông xoùt nhö Cha caùc ngöôi hay thöông xoùt.

6:37 Judge not, and all of you shall not be judged: condemn not, and all of you shall not be condemned: forgive, and all of you shall be forgiven:

6:37 Ñöøng ñoaùn xeùt ai, thì caùc ngöôi khoûi bò ñoaùn xeùt; ñöøng leân aùn ai, thì caùc ngöôi khoûi bò leân aùn; haõy tha thöù, ngöôøi seõ tha thöù mình.

6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that all of you mete likewise it shall be measured to you again.

6:39 And he spoke a parable unto them, Can the blind lead the blind? shall they not both fall into the ditch?

6:39 Ngaøi cuõng phaùn cuøng hoï moät thí duï raèng: Keû muø coù theå daét keû muø ñöôïc chaêng? Caû hai haù chaúng cuøng teù xuoáng hoá sao?

6:40 The disciple is not above his master: but every one that is perfect shall be as his master.

6:40 Moân ñoà khoâng hôn thaày; nhöng heã moân ñoà ñöôïc troïn veïn thì seõ baèng thaày mình.

6:41 And why behold you the splinter that is in your brother's eye, but perceive not the beam that is in yours own eye?

6:41 Sao ngöôi nhìn thaáy caùi raùc trong maét anh em mình, maø khoâng thaáy caây ñaø trong maét ngöôi?

6:42 Either how can you say to your brother, Brother, let me pull out the splinter that is in yours eye, when you yourself behold not the beam that is in yours own eye? You hypocrite, cast out first the beam out of yours own eye, and then shall you see clearly to pull out the splinter that is in your brother's eye.

6:42 Sao ngöôi noùi ñöôïc vôùi anh em raèng: Anh ôi, ñeå toâi laáy caùi raùc trong maét anh ra, coøn ngöôi, thì khoâng thaáy caây ñaø trong maét mình? Hôõi keû giaû hình, haõy laáy caây ñaø ra khoûi maét mình tröôùc ñaõ, roài môùi thaáy roõ maø laáy caùi raùc ra khoûi maét anh em.

6:43 For a good tree brings not forth corrupt fruit; neither does a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

6:43 Caây sanh traùi xaáu khoâng phaûi laø caây toát, caây sanh traùi toát khoâng phaûi laø caây xaáu;

6:44 For every tree is known by his own fruit. For of thorns men do not gather figs, nor of a bramble bush gather they grapes.

6:44 vì heã xem traùi thì bieát caây. Ngöôøi ta khoâng haùi ñöôïc traùi vaû nôi buïi gai, hay laø traùi nho nôi choøm kinh cöôùc.

6:45 A good man out of the good treasure of his heart brings forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart brings forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaks.

6:45 Ngöôøi laønh bôûi loøng chöùa ñieàu thieän maø phaùt ra ñieàu thieän, keû döõ bôûi loøng chöùa ñieàu aùc maø phaùt ra ñieàu aùc; vì do söï ñaày daãy trong loøng maø mieäng noùi ra.

6:46 And why call all of you me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?

6:46 Sao caùc ngöôi goïi ta: Chuùa, Chuùa, maø khoâng laøm theo lôøi ta phaùn?

6:47 Whosoever comes to me, and hears my sayings, (o. logos) and does them, I will show you to whom he is like:

6:47 Ta seõ chæ cho caùc ngöôi bieát keû naøo ñeán cuøng ta, nghe lôøi ta, vaø laøm theo, thì gioáng ai.

6:48 He is like a man which built an house, and dug deep, and laid the foundation on a rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not shake it: for it was founded upon a rock.

6:48 Keû aáy gioáng nhö moät ngöôøi kia caát nhaø, ñaøo ñaát cho saâu, xaây neàn treân vaàng ñaù: nöôùc traøn lan, doøng nöôùc chaûy maïnh xoâ vaøo nhaø ñoù, nhöng khoâng xoâ ñoäng ñöôïc, vì ñaõ caát chaéc chaén.

6:49 But he that hears, and does not, is like a man that without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the ruin of that house was great.

6:49 Song keû naøo nghe lôøi ta maø khoâng laøm theo, thì gioáng nhö moät ngöôøi kia caát nhaø treân ñaát khoâng xaây neàn: doøng nöôùc chaûy maïnh xoâ vaøo nhaø ñoù, töùc thì nhaø suïp xuoáng, vaø söï hö haïi lôùn lao.

 Lu ca - Luke

7:1 Now when he had ended all his sayings (o. rhema) in the audience of the people, he entered into Capernaum.

7:1 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus rao giaûng xong moïi lôøi aáy tröôùc maët daân chuùng nghe roài, thì Ngaøi vaøo thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um.

7:2 And a certain centurion's servant, who was dear unto him, was sick, and ready to die.

7:2 Vaû, moät thaày ñoäi kia coù ñöùa ñaày tôù raát thieát nghóa ñau gaàn cheát,

7:3 And when he heard of Jesus, he sent unto him the elders of the Jews, beseeching him that he would come and heal his servant.

7:3 nghe noùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, beøn sai maáy tröôûng laõo trong daân Giu-ña xin Ngaøi ñeán chöõa cho ñaày tôù mình.

7:4 And when they came to Jesus, they besought him instantly, saying, That he was worthy for whom he should do this:

7:4 Maáy ngöôøi ñoù ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maø naøi xin raèng: Thaày ñoäi thaät ñaùng cho thaày nhaäm ñieàu naày;

7:5 For he loves our nation, and he has built us a synagogue.

7:5 vì ngöôøi yeâu daân ta, vaø ñaõ caát nhaø hoäi cho chuùng toâi.

7:6 Then Jesus went with them. And when he was now not far from the house, the centurion sent friends to him, saying unto him, Lord, trouble not yourself: for I am not worthy that you should enter under my roof:

7:6 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn ñi vôùi hoï. Khi Ngaøi gaàn tôùi nhaø, thaày ñoäi sai baïn höõu mình ñi thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin ñöøng töï phieàn ñeán theá, vì toâi khoâng ñaùng röôùc Chuùa vaøo nhaø toâi.

7:7 Wherefore neither thought I myself worthy to come unto you: but say in a word, (o. logos) and my servant shall be healed.

7:7 Toâi cuõng nghó mình khoâng ñaùng ñeán cuøng Chuùa; song xin phaùn moät lôøi, thì ñaày tôù toâi seõ ñöôïc laønh.

7:8 For I also am a man set under authority, having under me soldiers, and I say unto one, Go, and he goes; and to another, Come, and he comes; and to my servant, Do this, and he does it.

7:8 Vì chính mình toâi laø ngöôøi thuoäc döôùi quyeàn keû khaùc, toâi cuõng coù quaân lính döôùi quyeàn toâi; toâi bieåu teân naày raèng: Haõy ñi! thì noù ñi; vaø bieåu teân khaùc raèng: Haõy ñeán! thì noù ñeán; vaø bieåu ñaày tôù toâi raèng: Haõy laøm vieäc naày! thì noù laøm.

7:9 When Jesus heard these things, he marvelled at him, and turned him about, and said unto the people that followed him, I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel.

7:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghe nhöõng lôøi aáy, laáy laøm laï cho thaày ñoäi, beøn xaây laïi cuøng ñoaøn daân theo mình, maø phaùn raèng: Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, daàu trong daân Y-sô-ra-eân, ta cuõng chöa thaáy moät ñöùc tin lôùn döôøng aáy.

7:10 And they that were sent, returning to the house, found the servant whole that had been sick.

7:10 Nhöõng keû sai ñeán trôû veà nhaø, thaáy ñaày tôù laønh maïnh.

7:11 And it came to pass the day after, that he went into a city called Nain; and many of his disciples went with him, and much people.

7:11 Böõa sau, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi ñeán moät thaønh, goïi laø Na-in coù nhieàu moân ñoà vaø moät ñoaøn daân ñoâng cuøng ñi vôùi Ngaøi.

7:12 Now when he came nigh to the gate of the city, behold, there was a dead man carried out, the only son of his mother, and she was a widow: and much people of the city was with her.

7:12 Khi Ngaøi ñeán gaàn cöûa thaønh, hoï vöøa khieâng ra moät ngöôøi cheát, laø con trai moät cuûa meï goùa kia; coù nhieàu ngöôøi ôû thaønh ñoù ñi ñöa vôùi baø goùa aáy.

7:13 And when the Lord saw her, he had compassion on her, and said unto her, Weep not.

7:13 Chuùa thaáy, ñoäng loøng thöông xoùt ngöôøi, maø phaùn raèng: Ñöøng khoùc!

7:14 And he came and touched the bier: and they that bare him stood still. And he said, Young man, I say unto you, Arise.

7:14 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi laïi gaàn, rôø quan taøi, thì keû khieâng döøng laïi. Ngaøi beøn phaùn raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi treû kia, ta bieåu ngöôi chôø daäy.

7:15 And he that was dead sat up, and began to speak. And he delivered him to his mother.

7:15 Ngöôøi cheát vuøng ngoài daäy vaø khôûi söï noùi. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus giao ngöôøi laïi cho meï.

7:16 And there came a fear on all: and they glorified God, saying, That a great prophet has risen up among us; and, That God has visited his people.

7:16 Ai naáy ñeàu sôï haõi, vaø ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Coù ñaáng tieân tri lôùn ñaõ daáy leân giöõa chuùng toâi, vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ thaêm vieáng daân Ngaøi.

7:17 And this rumour (o. logos) of him went forth throughout all Judaea, and throughout all the region round about.

7:17 Tin naày ñoàn ra khaép xöù Giu-ñeâ, vaø khaép xöù xung quanh nôi ñoù nöõa.

7:18 And the disciples of John showed him of all these things.

7:18 Moân ñoà cuûa Giaêng trình laïi heát caû chuyeän ñoù vôùi ngöôøi.

7:19 And John calling unto him two of his disciples sent them to Jesus, saying, Are you he that should come? or look we for another?

7:19 Ngöôøi beøn goïi hai moân ñoà mình, sai ñeán thöa cuøng Chuùa raèng: Thaày coù phaûi laø Ñaáng phaûi ñeán, hay chuùng toâi coøn phaûi ñôïi Ñaáng khaùc?

7:20 When the men were come unto him, they said, John Baptist has sent us unto you, saying, Are you he that should come? or look we for another?

7:20 Hai ngöôøi ñaõ ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, thöa raèng: Giaêng Baùp-tít sai chuùng toâi ñeán hoûi thaày: Thaày coù phaûi laø Ñaáng phaûi ñeán, hay chuùng toâi coøn phaûi ñôïi Ñaáng khaùc?

7:21 And in that same hour he cured many of their infirmities and plagues, and of evil spirits; (o. pneuma) and unto many that were blind he gave sight.

7:21 Vaû, chính giôø ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chöõa laønh nhieàu keû bònh, keû taøn taät, keû maéc quæ döõ, vaø laøm cho nhieàu ngöôøi ñui ñöôïc saùng.

7:22 Then Jesus answering said unto them, Go your way, and tell John what things all of you have seen and heard; how that the blind see, the lame walk, the lepers are cleansed, the deaf hear, the dead are raised, to the poor the gospel is preached.

7:22 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: haõy veà baùo cho Giaêng söï caùc ngöôi ñaõ thaáy vaø ñaõ nghe: keû ñui ñöôïc saùng, keû queø ñöôïc ñi, keû phung ñöôïc saïch, keû ñieác ñöôïc nghe, keû cheát ñöôïc soáng laïi, Tin Laønh ñaõ rao giaûng cho keû ngheøo.

7:23 And blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.

7:23 Phöôùc cho keû khoâng vaáp phaïm vì côù ta!

7:24 And when the messengers of John were departed, he began to speak unto the people concerning John, What went all of you out into the wilderness in order to see? A reed shaken with the wind?

7:24 Hai ngöôøi cuûa Giaêng sai ñeán ñaõ ñi roài, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus môùi phaùn cuøng ñoaøn daân veà vieäc Giaêng raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñi xem chi nôi ñoàng vaéng? Xem caây saäy bò gioù rung chaêng?

7:25 But what went all of you out in order to see? A man clothed in soft raiment? Behold, they which are gorgeously apparelled, and live delicately, are in kings' courts.

7:25 Laïi caùc ngöôi coøn ñi xem gì? Xem ngöôøi aên maëc toát ñeïp chaêng? Kìa, nhöõng ngöôøi maëc aùo sang troïng, vaø aên ôû sung söôùng, thì ôû trong ñeàn ñaøi caùc vua!

7:26 But what went all of you out in order to see? A prophet? Yea, I say unto you, and much more than a prophet.

7:26 Song, roát laïi, caùc ngöôi ñi xem gì? Xem moät ñaáng tieân tri ö? Phaûi, ta noùi, moät ñaáng troïng hôn tieân tri nöõa.

7:27 This is he, of whom it is written, Behold, I send my messenger before your face, which shall prepare your way before you.

7:27 Aáy veà ñaáng ñoù maø coù lôøi cheùp raèng: Naày, ta seõ sai söù ta ñeán tröôùc maët ngöôi, Ngöôøi seõ doïn ñöôøng tröôùc ngöôi.

7:28 For I say unto you, Among those that are born of women there is not a greater prophet than John the Baptist: but he that is least in the kingdom of God is greater than he.

7:28 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, trong nhöõng ngöôøi bôûi ñôøn baø sanh ra, khoâng coù ai lôùn hôn Giaêng Baùp-tít ñaâu; nhöng trong nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, keû raát nhoû coøn lôùn hôn Giaêng vaäy.

7:29 And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God, being baptized with the baptism of John.

7:29 Caû daân chuùng cuøng keû thaâu thueá chòu Giaêng laøm pheùp baùp-tem, ñeàu xöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø coâng bình.

7:30 But the Pharisees and lawyers rejected the counsel of God against themselves, being not baptized of him.

7:30 Song ngöôøi Pha-ri-si cuøng caùc thaày daïy luaät khoâng chòu Giaêng laøm pheùp baùp-tem, neân cheâ boû yù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñònh veà mình.

7:31 And the Lord said, Unto which then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like?

7:31 Vaäy, ta seõ saùnh ngöôøi ñôøi naày vôùi gì, hoï gioáng nhö ai?

7:32 They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying, We have piped unto you, and all of you have not danced; we have mourned to you, and all of you have not wept.

7:32 Hoï gioáng nhö con treû ngoài ngoaøi chôï, noùi cuøng nhau raèng: Ta ñaõ thoåi saùo, maø bay khoâng nhaûy muùa; ta ñaõ than vaõn, maø bay khoâng khoùc.

7:33 For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and all of you say, He has a devil.

7:33 Vaû, Giaêng Baùp-tít ñaõ ñeán, khoâng aên baùnh, khoâng uoáng röôïu; thì caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Ngöôøi maéc quæ döõ.

7:34 The Son of man has come eating and drinking; and all of you say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a wine indulger, a friend of publicans and sinners!

7:34 Con ngöôøi ñeán, aên vaø uoáng, thì caùc ngöôi noùi raèng: Aáy ñoù laø ngöôøi ham aên meâ uoáng, baïn vôùi ngöôøi thaâu thueá vaø keû coù toäi.

7:35 But wisdom is justified of all her children.

7:35 Song söï khoân ngoan ñöôïc xöng coâng bình nhôø nhöõng vieäc laøm cuûa noù.

7:36 And one of the Pharisees desired him that he would eat with him. And he went into the Pharisee's house, and sat down to food.

7:37 And, behold, a woman in the city, which was a sinner, when she knew that Jesus sat at food in the Pharisee's house, brought an alabaster box of ointment,

7:37 Vaû, coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø xaáu neát ôû thaønh ñoù, nghe noùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông ngoài baøn taïi nhaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, beøn ñem ñeán moät bình ngoïc traéng ñöïng ñaày daàu thôm.

7:38 And stood at his feet behind him weeping, and began to wash his feet with tears, and did wipe them with the hairs of her head, and kissed his feet, and anointed them with the ointment.

7:38 Ngöôøi ñöùng ñaèng sau, nôi chôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, khoùc, sa ngöôøi maét treân chôn Ngaøi, roài laáy toùc mình maø chuøi; laïi hoân chôn Ngaøi, vaø xöùc daàu thôm cho.

7:39 Now when the Pharisee which had bidden him saw it, he spoke within himself, saying, This man, if he were a prophet, would have known who and what manner of woman this is that touches him: for she is a sinner.

7:39 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñaõ môøi Ngaøi, thaáy vaäy, töï nghó raèng: Neáu ngöôøi naày laø ñaáng tieân tri, chaéc bieát ngöôøi ñôøn baø rôø ñeán mình ñoù laø ai, cuøng bieát aáy laø ngöôøi ñôøn baø xaáu neát.

7:40 And Jesus answering said unto him, Simon, I have somewhat to say unto you. And he says, Master, say on.

7:40 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn caát tieáng phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi Si-moân, ta coù vaøi lôøi noùi cuøng ngöôi. Ngöôøi thöa raèng: Thöa thaày, xin cöù noùi.

7:41 There was a certain creditor which had two debtors: the one owed five hundred pence, and the other fifty.

7:41 Moät chuû nôï coù hai ngöôøi maéc nôï: moät ngöôøi maéc naêm traêm ñô-ni-eâ, moät ngöôøi maéc naêm chuïc.

7:42 And when they had nothing to pay, he frankly forgave them both. Tell me therefore, which of them will love him most?

7:42 Vì hai ngöôøi ñoù khoâng coù chi maø traû, neân chuû nôï tha caû hai. Trong hai ngöôøi ñoù, ai yeâu chuû nôï hôn?

7:43 Simon answered and said, I suppose that he, to whom he forgave most. And he said unto him, You have rightly judged.

7:43 Si-moân thöa raèng: Toâi töôûng laø ngöôøi maø chuû nôï ñaõ tha nhieàu nôï hôn. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Ngöôi ñoaùn phaûi laém.

7:44 And he turned to the woman, and said unto Simon, See you this woman? I entered into yours house, you gave me no water for my feet: but she has washed my feet with tears, and wiped them with the hairs of her head.

7:44 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi xaây laïi ngöôøi ñôøn baø maø phaùn cuøng Si-moân raèng: Ngöôi thaáy ñôøn baø naày khoâng? Ta vaøo nhaø ngöôi, ngöôi khoâng cho nöôùc röûa chôn; nhöng ngöôøi ñaõ laáy nöôùc maét thaám öôùt chôn ta, roài laáy toùc mình maø chuøi.

7:45 You gave me no kiss: but this woman since the time I came in has not ceased to kiss my feet.

7:45 Ngöôi khoâng hoân ta; nhöng ngöôøi töø khi vaøo nhaø ngöôi, thì hoân chôn ta hoaøi.

7:46 My head with oil you did not anoint: but this woman has anointed my feet with ointment.

7:46 Ngöôi khoâng xöùc daàu ñaàu ta; nhöng ngöôøi laáy daàu thôm xöùc chôn ta.

7:47 Wherefore I say unto you, Her sins, which are many, are forgiven; for she loved much: but to whom little is forgiven, the same loves little.

7:47 Vaäy neân ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, toäi loãi ñôøn baø naày nhieàu laém, ñaõ ñöôïc tha heát, vì ngöôøi ñaõ yeâu meán nhieàu; song keû ñöôïc tha ít thì yeâu meán ít.

7:48 And he said unto her, Your sins are forgiven.

7:48 Ngaøi beøn phaùn cuøng ngöôøi ñôøn baø raèng: Toäi loãi ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tha roài.

7:49 And they that sat at food with him began to say within themselves, Who is this that forgives sins also?

7:49 Caùc ngöôøi ngoài baøn vôùi Ngaøi nghó thaàm raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø ai, maø cuõng tha toäi?

7:50 And he said to the woman, Your faith has saved you; go in peace.

7:50 Nhöng Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi ñôøn baø raèng: Ñöùc tin cuûa ngöôi ñaõ cöùu ngöôi; haõy ñi cho bình an.

 Lu ca - Luke

8:1 And it came to pass afterward, that he went throughout every city and village, preaching and showing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with him,

8:1 Keá ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi thaønh naày ñeán thaønh khaùc, giaûng daïy vaø rao truyeàn tin laønh cuûa nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Coù möôøi hai söù ñoà ôû vôùi Ngaøi.

8:2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits (o. pneuma) and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,

8:2 Cuõng coù maáy ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñi theo Ngaøi, laø nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ ñöôïc cöùu khoûi quæ döõ vaø chöõa khoûi bònh: Ma-ri, goïi laø Ma-ñô-len, töø ngöôøi baûy quæ döõ ñaõ ra,

8:3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto him of their substance.

8:3 Gian-nô vôï Chu-xa, laø quan noäi vuï cuûa vua Heâ-roát, Su-xan-nô vaø nhieàu ngöôøi khaùc nöõa giuùp cuûa caûi cho Ngaøi.

8:4 And when much people were gathered together, and were come to him out of every city, he spoke by a parable:

8:4 Khi coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng nhoùm laïi, vaø ngöôøi heát thaûy caùc thaønh ñeàu ñeán cuøng Ngaøi, thì Ngaøi laáy thí duï maø phaùn cuøng hoï raèng:

8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.

8:5 Ngöôøi gieo gioáng ñi ra ñeå gieo gioáng mình. Khi vaûi gioáng, moät phaàn gioáng rôi ra doïc ñöôøng, bò giaøy ñaïp vaø chim trôøi xuoáng aên heát.

8:6 And some fell upon a rock; and as soon as it was sprung up, it withered away, because it lacked moisture.

8:6 Moät phaàn khaùc rôi ra nôi ñaát ñaù soûi, khi môùi moïc leân, lieàn heùo ñi, vì khoâng coù hôi aåm.

8:7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprang up with it, and choked it.

8:7 Moät phaàn khaùc rôi vaøo buïi gai, gai moïc leân vôùi hoät gioáng, laøm cho ngheït ngoøi.

8:8 And other fell on good ground, and sprang up, and bare fruit an hundredfold. And when he had said these things, he cried, He that has ears to hear, let him hear.

8:8 Laïi coù moät phaàn khaùc rôi xuoáng nôi ñaát toát, thì moïc leân, vaø keát quaû, moät thaønh traêm. Ñöông phaùn maáy lôøi ñoù, Ngaøi keâu leân raèng: Ai coù tai maø nghe, haõy nghe.

8:9 And his disciples asked him, saying, What might this parable be?

8:9 Moân ñoà hoûi Ngaøi thí duï aáy coù nghóa gì.

8:10 And he said, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they might not see, and hearing they might not understand.

8:10 Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Ñaõ ban cho caùc ngöôi ñöôïc bieát nhöõng söï maàu nhieäm nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; song, vôùi keû khaùc thì duøng thí duï maø noùi, ñeå noù xem maø khoâng thaáy, nghe maø khoâng hieåu.

8:11 Now the parable is this: The seed is the word (o. logos) of God.

8:11 Naày, lôøi thí duï ñoù nghóa nhö vaày: Hoät gioáng laø ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then comes the devil, and takes away the word (o. logos) out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.

8:12 Phaàn rôi ra doïc ñöôøng, laø nhöõng keû nghe ñaïo; nhöng veà sau ma quæ ñeán, cöôùp laáy ñaïo töø trong loøng hoï, e raèng hoï tin maø ñöôïc cöùu chaêng.

8:13 They on the rock are they, which, when they hear, receive the word (o. logos) with joy; and these have no root, which for a while believe, and in time of temptation fall away.

8:13 Phaàn rôi ra ñaát ñaù soûi laø keû nghe ñaïo, beøn vui möøng chòu laáy; nhöng hoï khoâng coù reã, chæ tin taïm maø thoâi; neân khi söï thöû thaùch ñeán, thì hoï thaùo lui.

8:14 And that which fell among thorns are they, which, when they have heard, go forth, and are choked with cares and riches and pleasures of this life, and bring no fruit to perfection.

8:14 Phaàn rôi vaøo buïi gai, laø nhöõng keû ñaõ nghe ñaïo, nhöng roài ñi, ñeå cho söï lo laéng, giaøu sang, sung söôùng ñôøi naày laøm cho ñaïo phaûi ngheït ngoøi, ñeán noãi khoâng sanh traùi naøo ñöôïc chín.

8:15 But that on the good ground are they, which in an honest and good heart, having heard the word, (o. logos) keep it, and bring forth fruit with patience.

8:15 Song phaàn rôi vaøo nôi ñaát toát, laø keû coù laáy loøng thaät thaø töû teá nghe ñaïo, gìn giöõ vaø keát quaû moät caùch beàn loøng.

8:16 No man, when he has lighted a candle, covers it with a vessel, or puts it under a bed; but sets it on a candlestick, that they which enter in may see the light.

8:16 Khoâng ai ñaõ thaép ñeøn taïi laáy thuøng uùp laïi, hay laø ñeå döôùi giöôøng; nhö ñeå treân chôn ñeøn, haàu cho ai vaøo nhaø ñeàu thaáy saùng.

8:17 For nothing is secret, that shall not be made manifest; neither any thing hid, that shall not be known and come abroad.

8:17 Thaät khoâng coù ñieàu gì kín maø khoâng phaûi loä ra, khoâng coù ñieàu gì giaáu maø chaúng bò bieát vaø toû ra.

8:18 Take heed therefore how all of you hear: for whosoever has, to him shall be given; and whosoever has not, from him shall be taken even that which he seems to have.

8:18 Vaäy, haõy coi chöøng veà caùch caùc ngöôi nghe; vì keû ñaõ coù, seõ cho theâm; keû khoâng coù, seõ caát laáy söï hoï töôûng mình coù.

8:19 Then came to him his mother and his brethren, and could not come at him for the press.

8:19 Meï vaø anh em Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán tìm Ngaøi; song vì ngöôøi ta ñoâng laém, neân khoâng ñeán gaàn Ngaøi ñöôïc.

8:20 And it was told him by certain which said, Your mother and your brethren stand without, desiring to see you.

8:20 Vaäy coù keû baùo cho Ngaøi bieát raèng: Meï vaø anh em thaày ôû ngoaøi, muoán thaáy thaày.

8:21 And he answered and said unto them, My mother and my brethren are these which hear the word (o. logos) of God, and do it.

8:21 Nhöng Ngaøi ñaùp raèng: Meï ta vaø anh em ta laø keû nghe ñaïo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi vaø laøm theo ñaïo aáy.

8:22 Now it came to pass on a certain day, that he went into a ship with his disciples: and he said unto them, Let us go over unto the other side of the lake. And they launched forth.

8:22 Moät ngaøy kia, Ngaøi xuoáng thuyeàn vôùi moân ñoà, maø phaùn raèng: Haõy qua beân kia hoà; roài ñi.

8:23 But as they sailed he fell asleep: and there came down a storm of wind on the lake; and they were filled with water, and were in jeopardy.

8:23 Khi thuyeàn ñöông chaïy, thì Ngaøi nguû. Coù côn baõo noåi leân trong hoà, nöôùc vaøo ñaày thuyeàn, ñöông nguy hieåm laém.

8:24 And they came to him, and awoke him, saying, Master, master, we perish. Then he arose, and rebuked the wind and the raging of the water: and they ceased, and there was a calm.

8:24 Moân ñoà beøn ñeán thöùc Ngaøi daäy, raèng: Thaày oâi, Thaày oâi, chuùng ta cheát! Nhöng Ngaøi, vöøa thöùc daäy, khieán gioù vaø soùng phaûi bình tònh vaø yeân laëng nhö tôø.

8:25 And he said unto them, Where is your faith? And they being afraid wondered, saying one to another, What manner of man is this! for he commands even the winds and water, and they obey him.

8:25 Ngaøi beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Ñöùc tin caùc ngöôi ôû ñaâu? Moân ñoà sôï haõi vaø bôõ ngôõ, noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Ngöôøi naày laø ai, khieán ñeán gioù vaø nöôùc, maø cuõng phaûi vaâng lôøi Ngaøi?

8:26 And they arrived at the country of the Gadarenes, which is opposite to Galilee.

8:26 Keá ñoù, gheù vaøo ñaát cuûa daân Gieâ-ra-seâ, ngang xöù Ga-li-leâ.

8:27 And when he went forth to land, there met him out of the city a certain man, which had devils long time, and ware no clothes, neither abode in any house, but in the tombs.

8:27 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus leân bôø, coù moät ngöôøi ôû thaønh aáy bò nhieàu quæ aùm ñi gaëp Ngaøi. Ñaõ laâu nay, ngöôøi khoâng maëc aùo, khoâng ôû nhaø, song ôû nôi moà maû.

8:28 When he saw Jesus, he cried out, and fell down before him, and with a loud voice said, What have I to do with you, Jesus, you Son of God most high? I plead to you, torment me not.

8:28 Ngöôøi aáy vöøa thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thì la leân inh oûi, vaø ñeán gieo mình nôi chôn Ngaøi, noùi lôùn tieáng raèng: Laïy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi Raát Cao, toâi vôùi Ngaøi coù söï chi chaêng? Toâi caàu xin Ngaøi, ñöøng laøm khoå toâi.

8:29 (For he had commanded the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) to come out of the man. For oftentimes it had caught him: and he was kept bound with chains and in fetters; and he brake the bands, and was driven of the devil into the wilderness.)

8:29 Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông truyeàn cho taø ma phaûi ra khoûi ngöôøi ñoù maø noù ñaõ aùm töø laâu; daàu hoï giöõ ngöôøi, xieàng vaø coøng chôn laïi, ngöôøi cöù beû xieàng thaùo coøng, vaø bò quæ döõ ñem vaøo nôi ñoàng vaéng.

8:30 And Jesus asked him, saying, What is your name? And he said, Legion: because many devils were entered into him.

8:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi ngöôøi raèng: Maày teân gì? Ngöôøi thöa raèng: Quaân ñoäi; vì nhieàu quæ ñaõ aùm vaøo ngöôøi.

8:31 And they besought him that he would not command them to go out into the deep.

8:31 Chuùng noù beøn caàu xin Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöøng khieán mình xuoáng vöïc saâu.

8:32 And there was there an herd of many swine feeding on the mountain: and they besought him that he would suffer them to enter into them. And he suffered them.

8:32 Vaû, ôû ñoù coù moät baày heo ñoâng ñöông aên treân nuùi. Caùc quæ xin Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cho chuùng noù nhaäp vaøo nhöõng heo aáy, Ngaøi beøn cho pheùp.

8:33 Then went the devils out of the man, and entered into the swine: and the herd ran violently down a steep place into the lake, and were choked.

8:33 Vaäy, caùc quæ ra khoûi ngöôøi ñoù, nhaäp vaøo baày heo, baày heo töø treân böïc cao ñaâm ñaàu xuoáng hoà vaø cheát chìm.

8:34 When they that fed them saw what was done, they fled, and went and told it in the city and in the country.

8:34 Caùc keû chaên heo thaáy vaäy chaïy troán, ñoàn tin aáy ra trong thaønh vaø trong nhaø queâ.

8:35 Then they went out to see what was done; and came to Jesus, and found the man, out of whom the devils were departed, sitting at the feet of Jesus, clothed, and in his right mind: and they were afraid.

8:35 Thieân haï beøn ñoå ra xem vieäc môùi xaûy ra; khi hoï ñeán cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, thaáy ngöôøi maø caùc quæ môùi ra khoûi ngoài döôùi chôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, maëc aùo quaàn, boä tænh taùo, thì sôï haõi laém.

8:36 They also which saw it told them by what means he that was possessed of the devils was healed.

8:36 Nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ xem thaáy söï laï ñoù, thuaät laïi cho thieân haï bieát ngöôøi bò quæ aùm ñöôïc cöùu khoûi theá naøo.

8:37 Then the whole multitude of the country of the Gadarenes round about besought him to depart from them; for they were taken with great fear: and he went up into the ship, and returned back again.

8:37 Heát thaûy daân ôû mieàn ngöôøi Gieâ-ra-seâ xin Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus lìa khoûi xöù hoï, vì hoï sôï haõi laém. Ngaøi beøn xuoáng thuyeàn trôû veà.

8:38 Now the man out of whom the devils were departed besought him that he might be with him: but Jesus sent him away, saying,

8:38 Ngöôøi ñaõ khoûi nhöõng quæ aùm xin pheùp ôû vôùi Ngaøi, nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bieåu veà, maø raèng:

8:39 Return to yours own house, and show how great things God has done unto you. And he went his way, and published throughout the whole city how great things Jesus had done unto him.

8:39 Haõy veà nhaø ngöôi, thuaät laïi moïi ñieàu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ laøm cho ngöôi. Vaäy, ngöôøi aáy ñi, ñoàn khaép caû thaønh moïi ñieàu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm cho mình.

8:40 And it came to pass, that, when Jesus was returned, the people gladly received him: for they were all waiting for him.

8:40 Khi trôû veà, coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng röôùc Ngaøi; vì ai naáy cuõng troâng ñôïi Ngaøi.

8:41 And, behold, there came a man named Jairus, and he was a ruler of the synagogue: and he fell down at Jesus' feet, and besought him that he would come into his house:

8:41 Coù ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi teân laø Giai-ru ñeán saáp mình xuoáng nôi chôn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, xin Ngaøi vaøo nhaø mình.

8:42 For he had one only daughter, about twelve years of age, and she lay a dying. But as he went the people thronged him.

8:42 Vì ngöôøi coù con gaùi moät, möôøi hai tuoåi, gaàn cheát. Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông ñi, daân chuùng laán eùp Ngaøi töù phía.

8:43 And a woman having an issue of blood twelve years, which had spent all her living upon physicians, neither could be healed of any,

8:43 Baáy giôø, coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø ñau bònh maát huyeát möôøi hai naêm roài, cuõng ñaõ toán heát tieàn cuûa veà thaày thuoác, khoâng ai chöõa laønh ñöôïc,

8:44 Came behind him, and touched the border of his garment: and immediately her issue of blood stopped.

8:44 ñeán ñaèng sau Ngaøi rôø troân aùo; töùc thì huyeát caàm laïi.

8:45 And Jesus said, Who touched me? When all denied, Peter and they that were with him said, Master, the multitude crowd upon you and press you, and says you, Who touched me?

8:45 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Ai sôø ñeán ta? Ai naáy ñeàu choái; Phi -e-rô vaø nhöõng ngöôøi ñoàng baïn thöa raèng: Thöa thaày, ñoaøn daân vaây laáy vaø eùp thaày.

8:46 And Jesus said, Somebody has touched me: for I perceive that virtue is gone out of me.

8:46 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Coù ngöôøi ñaõ rôø ñeán ta, vì ta nhaän bieát coù quyeàn pheùp töø ta maø ra.

8:47 And when the woman saw that she was not hid, she came trembling, and falling down before him, she declared unto him before all the people for what cause she had touched him, and how she was healed immediately.

8:47 Ngöôøi ñôøn baø thaáy mình khoâng theå giaáu ñöôïc nöõa, thì run sôï, ñeán saáp mình xuoáng nôi chôn Ngaøi, toû thaät tröôùc maët daân chuùng vì côù naøo mình ñaõ rôø ñeán, vaø lieàn ñöôïc laønh laøm sao.

8:48 And he said unto her, Daughter, be of good comfort: your faith has made you whole; go in peace.

8:48 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Hôõi con gaùi ta, ñöùc tin ngöôi ñaõ chöõa laønh ngöôi; haõy ñi cho bình an.

8:49 While he yet spoke, there comes one from the ruler of the synagogue's house, saying to him, Your daughter is dead; trouble not the Master.

8:49 Ngaøi coøn ñöông phaùn, coù keû ôû nhaø ngöôøi cai nhaø hoäi ñeán noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Con gaùi oâng cheát roài; ñöøng laøm phieàn thaày chi nöõa.

8:50 But when Jesus heard it, he answered him, saying, Fear not: believe only, and she shall be made whole.

8:50 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghe vaäy, phaùn cuøng Giai-ru raèng: Ñöøng sôï, haõy tin maø thoâi, thì con ngöôi seõ ñöôïc cöùu.

8:51 And when he came into the house, he suffered no man to go in, save Peter, and James, and John, and the father and the mother of the maiden.

8:51 Khi ñeán nhaø, Ngaøi chæ cho Phi -e-rô, Gia-cô vaø Giaêng, vaø cha meï con aáy vaøo cuøng Ngaøi.

8:52 And all wept, and bewailed her: but he said, Weep not; she is not dead, but sleeps.

8:52 Ai naáy ñeàu khoùc loùc than vaõn veà con ñoù. Nhöng Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Ñöøng khoùc, con naày khoâng phaûi cheát, song noù nguû.

8:53 And they laughed him to scorn, knowing that she was dead.

8:53 Hoï bieát noù thaät cheát roài, beøn nhaïo baùng Ngaøi.

8:54 And he put them all out, and took her by the hand, and called, saying, Maid, arise.

8:54 nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caàm laáy tay con aáy, goïi lôùn tieáng leân raèng: Con ôi, haõy chôø daäy!

8:55 And her spirit (o. pneuma) came again, and she arose immediately: and he commanded to give her food.

8:55 Thaàn linh beøn hoaøn laïi, con aáy chôø daäy lieàn; roài Ngaøi truyeàn cho noù aên.

8:56 And her parents were astonished: but he charged them that they should tell no man what was done.

8:56 Cha meï noù laáy laøm laï; nhöng Ngaøi caám noùi laïi söï xaûy ra ñoù vôùi ai.

 Lu ca - Luke

9:1 Then he called his twelve disciples together, and gave them power and authority over all devils, and to cure diseases.

9:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nhoùm hoïp möôøi hai söù ñoà, ban quyeàn naêng pheùp taéc ñeå trò quæ chöõa bònh.

9:2 And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.

9:2 Roài Ngaøi sai ñeå rao giaûng veà nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuøng chöõa laønh keû coù bònh.

9:3 And he said unto them, Take nothing for your journey, neither staves, nor pouch, neither bread, neither money; neither have two coats apiece.

9:3 Ngaøi daïy raèng: Ñi ñöôøng chôù ñem gì theo heát, hoaëc gaäy, hoaëc bao, hoaëc baùnh, hoaëc tieàn baïc; cuõng ñöøng ñem hai aùo.

9:4 And whatsoever house all of you enter into, there abide, and thence depart.

9:4 Heã caùc ngöôi vaøo nhaø naøo, haõy ôû ñoù cho ñeán khi ñi.

9:5 And whosoever will not receive you, when all of you go out of that city, shake off the very dust from your feet for a testimony against them.

9:5 Coøn ai khoâng tieáp röôùc caùc ngöôi, haõy ra khoûi thaønh hoï, vaø phuûi buïi chôn mình ñeå laøm chöùng nghòch cuøng hoï.

9:6 And they departed, and went through the towns, preaching the gospel, and healing every where.

9:6 Vaäy, caùc söù ñoà ra ñi, töø laøng naày tôùi laøng kia, rao giaûng Tin Laønh khaép nôi vaø chöõa laønh ngöôøi coù bònh.

9:7 Now Herod the tetrarch heard of all that was done by him: and he was perplexed, because that it was said of some, that John was risen from the dead;

9:7 Baáy giôø, Heâ roát laø vua chö haàu, nghe noùi veà caùc vieäc xaûy ra, thì khoâng bieát nghó laøm sao; vì keû naày noùi raèng: Giaêng ñaõ töø keû cheát soáng laïi;

9:8 And of some, that Elijah had appeared; and of others, that one of the old prophets was risen again.

9:8 keû khaùc noùi raèng: EÂ-li ñaõ hieän ra; vaø keû khaùc nöõa thì raèng: Moät trong caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñôøi xöa ñaõ soáng laïi.

9:9 And Herod said, John have I beheaded: but who is this, of whom I hear such things? And he desired to see him.

9:9 Song Heâ-roát thì noùi: Ta ñaõ truyeàn cheùm Giaêng roài: vaäy ngöôøi naày laø ai, maø ta nghe laøm nhöõng vieäc döôøng aáy? Vua beøn tìm caùch thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

9:10 And the apostles, when they were returned, told him all that they had done. And he took them, and went aside privately into a desert place belonging to the city called Bethsaida.

9:10 Caùc söù ñoà trôû veà trình cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus moïi vieäc mình ñaõ laøm. Ngaøi beøn ñem caùc söù ñoà ñi teû ra vôùi mình ñeán gaàn thaønh kia goïi laø Beát-sai-ña.

9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed him: and he received them, and spoke unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.

9:12 And when the day began to wear away, then came the twelve, and said unto him, Send the multitude away, that they may go into the towns and country round about, and lodge, and get victuals: for we are here in a desert place.

9:12 Khi gaàn toái, möôøi hai söù ñoà ñeán gaàn Ngaøi maø thöa raèng: Xin truyeàn cho daân chuùng veà, ñeå hoï ñeán caùc laøng caùc aáy xung quanh maø troï vaø kieám chi aên; vì chuùng ta ôû ñaây laø nôi vaéng veû.

9:13 But he said unto them, Give all of you them to eat. And they said, We have no more but five loaves and two fishes; except we should go and buy food for all this people.

9:13 Song Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Chính caùc ngöôi haõy cho hoï aên. Caùc söù ñoà thöa raèng: Ví thöû chính mình chuùng toâi khoâng ñi mua ñoà aên cho heát thaûy daân naày, thì chæ coù naêm caùi baùnh vaø hai con caù maø thoâi.

9:14 For they were about five thousand men. And he said to his disciples, Make them sit down by fifties in a company.

9:14 Vaû, baáy giôø coù ñoä naêm ngaøn ngöôøi nam ôû ñoù. Ngaøi beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Haõy bieåu chuùng ngoài töøng haøng naêm möôi ngöôøi.

9:15 And they did so, and made them all sit down.

9:15 Moân ñoà laøm theo lôøi; chuùng ngoài xuoáng heát thaûy.

9:16 Then he took the five loaves and the two fishes, and looking up to heaven, he blessed them, and brake, and gave to the disciples to set before the multitude.

9:16 Ñoaïn, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laáy naêm caùi baùnh vaø hai con caù, ngöôùc maét leân trôøi, chuùc taï, roài beû ra trao cho moân ñoà, ñaëng phaùt cho ñoaøn daân.

9:17 And they did eat, and were all filled: and there was taken up of fragments that remained to them twelve baskets.

9:17 Ai naáy aên no roài, ngöôøi ta thaâu ñöôïc möôøi hai gioû ñaày nhöõng mieáng thöøa.

9:18 And it came to pass, as he was alone praying, his disciples were with him: and he asked them, saying, Whom say the people that I am?

9:18 Moät ngaøy kia, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñang caàu nguyeän rieâng, moân ñoà nhoùm laïi xung quanh Ngaøi, Ngaøi hoûi raèng: Trong daân chuùng, hoï noùi ta laø ai?

9:19 They answering said, John the Baptist; but some say, Elijah; and others say, that one of the old prophets has risen again.

9:19 Thöa raèng: Ngöôøi naày noùi laø Giaêng Baùp-tít, ngöôøi kia noùi laø EÂ-li; keû khaùc noùi laø moät trong caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñôøi xöa soáng laïi.

9:20 He said unto them, But whom say all of you that I am? Peter answering said, The Christ of God.

9:20 Ngaøi laïi hoûi raèng: Coøn veà phaàn caùc ngöôi thì noùi ta laø ai? Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Thaày laø Ñaáng Christ cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:21 And he strictly charged them, and commanded them to tell no man that thing;

9:21 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nghieâm caám moân ñoà noùi söï aáy vôùi ai,

9:22 Saying, The Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be slain, and be raised the third day.

9:22 vaø phaùn theâm raèng: Con ngöôøi phaûi chòu nhieàu ñieàu khoán khoå, phaûi bò caùc tröôûng laõo, caùc thaày teá leã caû, vaø caùc thaày thoâng giaùo boû ra, phaûi bò gieát, ngaøy thöù ba phaûi soáng laïi.

9:23 And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me.

9:23 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaûi cuøng moïi ngöôøi raèng: Neáu ai muoán theo ta, phaûi töï boû mình ñi, moãi ngaøy vaùc thaäp töï giaù mình maø theo ta.

9:24 For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it.

9:24 Vì ai muoán cöùu söï soáng mình thì seõ maát, coøn ai vì côù ta maát söï soáng, thì seõ cöùu.

9:25 For what is a man advantaged, if he gain the whole world, and lose himself, or be cast away?

9:25 Neáu ai ñöôïc caû thieân haï, maø chính mình phaûi maát hoaëc hö ñi, thì coù ích gì?

9:26 For whosoever shall be ashamed of me and of my words, (o. logos) of him shall the Son of man be ashamed, when he shall come in his own glory, and in his Father's, and of the holy angels.

9:26 Vì neáu ai hoå theïn veà ta vaø lôøi ta, thì Con ngöôøi seõ hoå theïn veà hoï, khi Ngaøi ngöï trong söï vinh hieån cuûa mình, cuûa Cha, vaø cuûa thieân söù thaùnh maø ñeán.

9:27 But I tell you truthfully, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.

9:27 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, moät vaøi ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi ñöông ñöùng ñaây seõ khoâng cheát tröôùc khi chöa thaáy nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:28 And it came to pass about an eight days after these sayings, (o. logos) he took Peter and John and James, and went up into a mountain to pray.

9:28 Ñoä taùm ngaøy sau khi phaùn caùc lôøi ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñem Phi -e-rô, Giaêng vaø Gia-cô ñi vôùi mình leân treân nuùi ñeå caàu nguyeän.

9:29 And as he prayed, the fashion of his countenance was altered, and his raiment was white and flashing.

9:29 Ñöông khi caàu nguyeän, dieän maïo Ngaøi khaùc thöôøng, aùo Ngaøi trôû neân saéc traéng choùi loøa.

9:30 And, behold, there talked with him two men, which were Moses and Elijah:

9:30 Vaø naày, coù hai ngöôøi noùi chuyeän cuøng Ngaøi; aáy laø Moâi-se vaø EÂ-li,

9:31 Who appeared in glory, and spoke of his decease which he should accomplish at Jerusalem.

9:31 hieän ra trong söï vinh hieån, vaø noùi veà söï Ngaøi qua ñôøi, laø söï seõ phaûi öùng nghieäm taïi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

9:32 But Peter and they that were with him were heavy with sleep: and when they were awake, they saw his glory, and the two men that stood with him.

9:32 Phi -e-rô cuøng ñoàng baïn mình buoàn nguû laém, nhöng vöøa tænh thöùc ra, thaáy vinh hieån cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø hai ñaáng aáy ñöùng gaàn Ngaøi.

9:33 And it came to pass, as they departed from him, Peter said unto Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for you, and one for Moses, and one for Elijah: not knowing what he said.

9:33 Luùc hai ñaáng aáy lìa khoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, Phi -e-rô thöa Ngaøi raèng: Thöa thaày, chuùng ta ôû ñaây toát laém, haõy ñoùng ba traïi, moät caùi cho thaày, moät caùi cho Moâi-se vaø moät caùi cho EÂ-li. Vì Phi -e-rô khoâng bieát mình noùi chi.

9:34 While he thus spoke, there came a cloud, and overshadowed them: and they feared as they entered into the cloud.

9:34 Khi ngöôøi coøn ñöông noùi, coù moät ñaùm maây keùo ñeán, bao phuû laáy; vaø khi vaøo trong ñaùm maây, caùc moân ñoà ñeàu sôï haõi.

9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

9:35 Baáy giôø, nghe coù tieáng töø trong ñaùm maây phaùn ra raèng: Naày laø Con ta, Ngöôøi ñöôïc löïa choïn cuûa ta, haõy nghe Ngöôøi.

9:36 And when the voice was past, Jesus was found alone. And they kept it close, and told no man in those days any of those things which they had seen.

9:36 Khi tieáng aáy phaùt ra, thì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû moät mình. Caùc moân ñoà nín laëng, khoâng noùi cuøng ai veà söï mình ñaõ thaáy.

9:37 And it came to pass, that on the next day, when they were come down from the hill, much people met him.

9:37 Böõa sau, khi Chuùa cuøng moân ñoà töø nuùi xuoáng, coù ñoaøn daân ñoâng ñeán ñoùn röôùc Ngaøi.

9:38 And, behold, a man of the company cried out, saying, Master, I plead to you, look upon my son: for he is mine only child.

9:38 Moät ngöôøi trong ñaùm ñoâng keâu leân raèng: Laïy thaày, xin thaày ñoaùi ñeán con trai toâi, vì laø con moät toâi.

9:39 And, lo, a spirit (o. pneuma) takes him, and he suddenly cries out; and it tears him that he foams again, and bruising him hardly departs from him.

9:39 Moät quæ aùm noù, thình lình keâu la; quæ vaät vaõ noù döõ tôïn, laøm cho soâi boït mieáng, mình maåy naùt heát, roài môùi ra khoûi.

9:40 And I besought your disciples to cast him out; and they could not.

9:40 Toâi ñaõ xin moân ñoà thaày ñuoåi quæ ñoù, nhöng hoï ñuoåi khoâng ñöôïc.

9:41 And Jesus answering said, O faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you, and suffer you? Bring your son here.

9:41 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Hôõi doøng doõi khoâng tin vaø boäi nghòch kia, ta ôû vôùi caùc ngöôi vaø nhòn caùc ngöôi cho ñeán chöøng naøo? Haõy ñem con cuûa ngöôi laïi ñaây.

9:42 And as he was yet a coming, the devil threw him down, and tare him. And Jesus rebuked the unclean spirit, (o. pneuma) and healed the child, and delivered him again to his father.

9:42 Ñöùa con trai vöøa laïi gaàn, quæ xoâ noù nhaøo xuoáng ñaát, vaø vaät vaõ döõ tôïn. Song Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus quôû naëng taø ma, chöõa laønh con treû aáy, vaø giao laïi cho cha noù.

9:43 And they were all amazed at the mighty power of God. But while they wondered every one at all things which Jesus did, he said unto his disciples,

9:43 Ai naáy ñeàu laáy laøm laï veà quyeàn pheùp cao troïng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Khi moïi ngöôøi ñang khen laï caùc vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laøm, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng:

9:44 Let these sayings (o. logos) sink down into your ears: for the Son of man shall be delivered into the hands of men.

9:44 Veà phaàn caùc ngöôi, haõy nghe kyõ ñieàu ta seõ noùi cuøng: Con ngöôøi seõ bò noäp trong tay ngöôøi ta.

9:45 But they understood not this saying, (o. rhema) and it was hid from them, that they perceived it not: and they feared to ask him of that saying. (o. rhema)

9:45 Nhöng caùc moân ñoà khoâng hieåu lôøi aáy, vì ñaõ che khuaát cho mình ñeå chaúng roõ nghóa laøm sao; vaø sôï khoâng daùm hoûi Ngaøi veà lôøi aáy.

9:46 Then there arose a reasoning among them, which of them should be greatest.

9:46 Caùc moân ñoà bieän luaän cuøng nhau cho bieát ai laø lôùn hôn heát trong haøng mình.

9:47 And Jesus, perceiving the thought of their heart, took a child, and set him by him,

9:47 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát yù töôûng trong loøng moân ñoà, thì laáy moät ñöùa con treû ñeå gaàn mình,

9:48 And said unto them, Whosoever shall receive this child in my name receives me: and whosoever shall receive me receives him that sent me: for he that is least among you all, the same shall be great.

9:48 maø phaùn raèng: Heã ai vì danh ta maø tieáp con treû naày, töùc laø tieáp ta; coøn ai tieáp ta, töùc laø tieáp Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta. Vì keû naøo heøn moïn hôn heát trong voøng caùc ngöôi, aáy chính ngöôøi ñoù laø keû cao troïng.

9:49 And John answered and said, Master, we saw one casting out devils in your name; and we forbad him, because he follows not with us.

9:49 Giaêng caát tieáng noùi raèng: Thöa thaày, chuùng toâi töøng thaáy coù keû nhôn danh thaày maø tröø quæ; chuùng toâi ñaõ caám hoï, vì khoâng cuøng chuùng toâi theo thaày.

9:50 And Jesus said unto him, Forbid him not: for he that is not against us is for us.

9:50 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ñöøng caám hoï, vì ai khoâng nghòch cuøng caùc ngöôi, laø thuaän vôùi caùc ngöôi.

9:51 And it came to pass, when the time was come that he should be received up, he steadfastly set his face to go to Jerusalem,

9:51 Khi gaàn ñeán kyø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöôïc ñem leân khoûi theá gian, Ngaøi quyeát ñònh ñi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

9:52 And sent messengers before his face: and they went, and entered into a village of the Samaritans, to make ready for him.

9:52 Ngaøi sai keû ñem tin ñi tröôùc mình. Hoï ra ñi, vaøo moät laøng cuûa ngöôøi Sa-ma-ri, ñeå söûa soaïn nhaø troï cho Ngaøi;

9:53 And they did not receive him, because his face was as though he would go to Jerusalem.

9:53 song ngöôøi Sa-ma-ri khoâng tieáp röôùc Ngaøi, vì Ngaøi ñi thaúng leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

9:54 And when his disciples James and John saw this, they said, Lord, will you that we command fire to come down from heaven, and consume them, even as Elijah did?

9:54 Gia-cô vaø Giaêng laø moân ñoà Ngaøi, thaáy vaäy, noùi raèng: Thöa Chuùa, Chuùa coù muoán chuùng toâi khieán löûa töø treân trôøi xuoáng thieâu hoï chaêng?

9:55 But he turned, and rebuked them, and said, All of you know not what manner of spirit (o. pneuma) all of you are of.

9:55 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus xaây laïi quôû hai ngöôøi, maø raèng: Caùc ngöôi khoâng bieát taâm thaàn naøo xui giuïc mình.

9:56 For the Son of man is not come to destroy men's lives, but to save them. And they went to another village.

9:56 Roài Ngaøi cuøng moân ñoà ñi qua laøng khaùc.

9:57 And it came to pass, that, as they went in the way, a certain man said unto him, Lord, I will follow you anywhere you go.

9:57 Ñang khi ñi ñöôøng, coù keû thöa Ngaøi raèng: Chuùa ñi ñaâu toâi seõ theo ñoù.

9:58 And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air have nests; but the Son of man has not where to lay his head.

9:58 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Con caùo coù hang, chim trôøi coù oå; song Con ngöôøi khoâng coù choã maø goái ñaàu.

9:59 And he said unto another, Follow me. But he said, Lord, suffer me first to go and bury my father.

9:59 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng keû khaùc raèng: Ngöôi haõy theo ta. Keû aáy thöa raèng: Xin cho pheùp toâi ñi choân cha toâi tröôùc ñaõ.

9:60 Jesus said unto him, Let the dead bury their dead: but go you and preach the kingdom of God.

9:60 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy ñeå keû cheát choân keû cheát; coøn ngöôi, haõy ñi rao giaûng nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

9:61 And another also said, Lord, I will follow you; but let me first go bid them farewell, which are at home at my house.

9:61 Coù keû khaùc nöõa thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, toâi seõ theo Chuùa, song xin cho pheùp toâi tröôùc veà töø giaõ ngöôøi trong nhaø toâi.

9:62 And Jesus said unto him, No man, having put his hand to the plough, and looking back, is fit for the kingdom of God.

9:62 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ai ñaõ tra tay caàm caøy, coøn ngoù laïi ñaèng sau, thì khoâng xöùng ñaùng vôùi nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

 Lu ca - Luke

10:1 After these things the LORD appointed other seventy also, and sent them two and two before his face into every city and place, where he himself would come.

10:1 Keá ñoù, Chuùa choïn baûy möôi moân ñoà khaùc, sai töøng ñoâi ñi tröôùc Ngaøi, ñeán caùc thaønh caùc choã maø chính Ngaøi seõ ñi.

10:2 Therefore said he unto them, The harvest truly is great, but the labourers are few: pray all of you therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he would send forth labourers into his harvest.

10:2 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Muøa gaët thì truùng, song con gaët thì ít. Vaäy, haõy xin Chuû muøa gaët sai con gaët ñeán trong muøa cuûa mình.

10:3 Go your ways: behold, I send you forth as lambs among wolves.

10:3 Haõy ñi; naày, ta sai caùc ngöôi ñi, khaùc naøo nhö chieân con ôû giöõa baày muoâng soùi.

10:4 Carry neither purse, nor pouch, nor shoes: and salute no man by the way.

10:4 Ñöøng ñem tuùi, bao, giaøy, vaø ñöøng chaøo ai doïc ñöôøng.

10:5 And into whatsoever house all of you enter, first say, Peace be to this house.

10:5 Heã caùc ngöôi vaøo nhaø naøo, tröôùc heát haõy noùi raèng: Caàu söï bình an cho nhaø naày!

10:6 And if the son of peace be there, your peace shall rest upon it: if not, it shall turn to you again.

10:6 Neáu nhaø ñoù coù ngöôøi naøo ñaùng ñöôïc bình an, söï bình an cuûa caùc ngöôi seõ giaùng cho hoï; baèng khoâng, seõ trôû veà caùc ngöôi.

10:7 And in the same house remain, eating and drinking such things as they give: for the labourer is worthy of his hire. Go not from house to house.

10:7 Haõy ôû nhaø ñoù, aên uoáng ñoà ngöôøi ta seõ cho caùc ngöôi, vì ngöôøi laøm coâng ñaùng ñöôïc tieàn löông mình. Ñöøng ñi nhaø naày sang nhaø khaùc.

10:8 And into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:

10:8 Heã caùc ngöôi vaøo thaønh naøo, maø ngöôøi ta tieáp röôùc, haõy aên ñoà hoï seõ doïn cho.

10:9 And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.

10:9 Haõy chöõa keû bònh ôû ñoù, vaø noùi vôùi hoï raèng: Nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán gaàn caùc ngöôi.

10:10 But into whatsoever city all of you enter, and they receive you not, go your ways out into the streets of the same, and say,

10:10 Song heã caùc ngöôi vaøo thaønh naøo, hoï khoâng tieáp röôùc, haõy ñi ra ngoaøi chôï, maø noùi raèng:

10:11 Even the very dust of your city, which cleaves on us, we do wipe off against you: notwithstanding be all of you sure of this, that the kingdom of God has come nigh unto you.

10:11 Ñoái vôùi caùc ngöôi, chuùng ta cuõng phuûi buïi cuûa thaønh caùc ngöôi ñaõ dính chôn chuùng ta; nhöng phaûi bieát nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ñeán gaàn caùc ngöôi roài.

10:12 But I say unto you, that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom, than for that city.

10:12 Ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñeán ngaøy cuoái cuøng, thaønh Soâ-ñoâm seõ chòu nheï hôn thaønh naày.

10:13 Woe unto you, Chorazin! woe unto you, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes.

10:13 Khoán cho maày, thaønh Coâ-ra-xin! Khoán cho maày, thaønh Beát-sai-ña! Vì neáu caùc pheùp laï ñaõ laøm giöõa bay, ñem laøm trong thaønh Ty-rô vaø thaønh Si-ñoân, thì hai thaønh aáy ñaõ maëc aùo gai vaø ñoäi tro maø aên naên töø laâu roài.

10:14 But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment, than for you.

10:14 Vaäy, ñeán ngaøy phaùn xeùt, thaønh Ty-rô vaø thaønh Si-ñoân seõ chòu nheï hôn bay.

10:15 And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell.

10:15 Coøn maày, thaønh Ca-beâ-na-um, maày seõ ñöôïc nhaéc leân taän trôøi sao? Khoâng, seõ bò haï tôùi döôùi aâm phuû!

10:16 He that hears you hears me; and he that despises you despises me; and he that despises me despises him that sent me.

10:16 Ai nghe caùc ngöôi, aáy laø nghe ta; ai boû caùc ngöôi, aáy laø boû ta; coøn ai boû ta, aáy laø boû Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta.

10:17 And the seventy returned again with joy, saying, Lord, even the devils are subject unto us through your name.

10:17 Baûy möôi moân ñoà trôû veà caùch vui veû, thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, vì danh Chuùa, caùc quæ cuõng phuïc chuùng toâi.

10:18 And he said unto them, I beheld Satan as lightning fall from heaven.

10:18 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn raèng: Ta ñaõ thaáy quæ Sa-tan töø trôøi sa xuoáng nhö chôùp.

10:19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

10:19 Naày, ta ñaõ ban quyeàn cho caùc ngöôi giaøy ñaïp raén, boø caïp, vaø moïi quyeàn cuûa keû nghòch döôùi chôn; khoâng gì laøm haïi caùc ngöôi ñöôïc.

10:20 Notwithstanding in this rejoice not, that the spirits (o. pneuma) are subject unto you; but rather rejoice, because your names are written in heaven.

10:20 Daàu vaäy, chôù möøng vì caùc quæ phuïc caùc ngöôi; nhöng haõy möøng vì teân caùc ngöôi ñaõ ghi treân thieân ñaøng.

10:21 In that hour Jesus rejoiced in spirit, (o. pneuma) and said, I thank you, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that you have hid these things from the wise and prudent, and have revealed them unto babes: even so, Father; for so it seemed good in your sight.

10:21 Cuõng giôø ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus nöùc loøng bôûi Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh, beøn noùi raèng: Laïy Cha, laø Chuùa trôøi ñaát, toâi ngôïi khen Cha, vì Cha ñaõ giaáu nhöõng söï naày vôùi keû khoân ngoan, ngöôøi saùng daï, maø toû ra cho treû nhoû hay! Thöa Cha, phaûi, thaät nhö vaäy, vì Cha ñaõ thaáy ñieàu ñoù laø toát laønh.

10:22 All things are delivered to me of my Father: and no man knows who the Son is, but the Father; and who the Father is, but the Son, and he to whom the Son will reveal him.

10:22 Cha ta ñaõ giao moïi söï cho ta; ngoaøi Cha khoâng ai bieát Con laø ai; ngoaøi Con, vaø ngöôøi naøo maø Con muoán toû ra cuøng, thì cuõng khoâng coù ai bieát Cha laø ai.

10:23 And he turned him unto his disciples, and said privately, Blessed are the eyes which see the things that all of you see:

10:23 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi xaây laïi cuøng moân ñoà maø phaùn rieâng raèng: Phöôùc cho maét naøo ñöôïc thaáy ñieàu caùc ngöôi thaáy!

10:24 For I tell you, that many prophets and kings have desired to see those things which all of you see, and have not seen them; and to hear those things which all of you hear, and have not heard them.

10:24 Vì ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, coù nhieàu ñaáng tieân tri vaø vua chuùa öôùc ao thaáy ñieàu caùc ngöôi thaáy, maø chaúng töøng thaáy, öôùc ao nghe ñieàu caùc ngöôi nghe, maø chaúng töøng nghe.

10:25 And, behold, a certain lawyer stood up, and tempted him, saying, Master, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?

10:25 Baáy giôø, moät thaày daïy luaät ñöùng daäy hoûi ñaëng thöû Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Thöa thaày, toâi phaûi laøm gì ñeå ñöôïc höôûng söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi?

10:26 He said unto him, What is written in the law? how read you?

10:26 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Trong luaät phaùp coù cheùp ñieàu gì? Ngöôi ñoïc gì trong ñoù?

10:27 And he answering said, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.

10:27 Thöa raèng: Ngöôi phaûi heát loøng, heát linh hoàn, heát söùc, heát trí maø kính meán Chuùa laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôi; vaø yeâu ngöôøi laân caän nhö mình.

10:28 And he said unto him, You have answered right: this do, and you shall live.

10:28 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ngöôi ñaùp phaûi laém; haõy laøm ñieàu ñoù, thì ñöôïc soáng.

10:29 But he, willing to justify himself, said unto Jesus, And who is my neighbour?

10:29 Song thaày aáy muoán xöng mình laø coâng bình, neân thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Ai laø ngöôøi laân caän toâi?

10:30 And Jesus answering said, A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, which stripped him of his raiment, and wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead.

10:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Coù moät ngöôøi töø thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem xuoáng thaønh Gieâ-ri-coâ, laâm vaøo keû cöôùp, noù giöït loät heát, ñaùnh cho mình maåy bò thöông roài ñi, ñeå ngöôøi ñoù nöûa soáng nöûa cheát.

10:31 And by chance there came down a certain priest that way: and when he saw him, he passed by on the other side.

10:31 Vaû, gaëp moät thaày teá leã ñi xuoáng ñöôøng ñoù, thaáy ngöôøi aáy, thì ñi qua khoûi.

10:32 And likewise a Levite, when he was at the place, came and looked on him, and passed by on the other side.

10:32 Laïi coù moät ngöôøi Leâ-vi cuõng ñeán nôi, laïi gaàn, thaáy, roài ñi qua khoûi.

10:33 But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was: and when he saw him, he had compassion on him,

10:33 Song coù moät ngöôøi Sa-ma-ri ñi ñöôøng, ñeán gaàn ngöôøi ñoù, ngoù thaáy thì ñoäng loøng thöông;

10:34 And went to him, and bound up his wounds, pouring in oil and wine, and set him on his own beast, and brought him to an inn, and took care of him.

10:34 beøn aùp laïi, laáy daàu vaø röôïu xöùc choã bò thöông, roài ròt laïi; ñoaïn, cho côõi con vaät mình ñem ñeán nhaø quaùn, maø saên soùc cho.

10:35 And on the next day when he departed, he took out two pence, and gave them to the host, and said unto him, Take care of him; and whatsoever you spend more, when I come again, I will repay you.

10:35 Ñeán böõa sau, laáy hai ñô-ni-eâ ñöa cho chuû quaùn, daën raèng: Haõy saên soùc ngöôøi naày, neáu toán hôn nöõa, khi toâi trôû veà seõ traû.

10:36 Which now of these three, think you, was neighbour unto him that fell among the thieves?

10:36 Trong ba ngöôøi ñoù, ngöôi töôûng ai laø laân caän vôùi keû bò cöôùp?

10:37 And he said, He that showed mercy on him. Then said Jesus unto him, Go, and do you likewise.

10:37 Thaày daïy luaät thöa raèng: Aáy laø ngöôøi ñaõ laáy loøng thöông xoùt ñaõi ngöôøi. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy ñi, laøm theo nhö vaäy.

10:38 Now it came to pass, as they went, that he entered into a certain village: and a certain woman named Martha received him into her house.

10:38 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus cuøng moân ñoà ñi ñöôøng, ñeán moät laøng kia, coù ngöôøi ñôøn baø, teân laø Ma-theâ, röôùc Ngaøi vaøo nhaø mình.

10:39 And she had a sister called Mary, which also sat at Jesus' feet, and heard his word. (o. logos)

10:39 Ngöôøi coù moät em gaùi, teân laø Ma-ri, ngoài döôùi chôn Chuùa maø nghe lôøi Ngaøi.

10:40 But Martha was cumbered about much serving, and came to him, and said, Lord, do you not care that my sister has left me to serve alone? bid her therefore that she help me.

10:40 Vaû, Ma-theâ maûng lo vieäc vaët, ñeán thöa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy Chuùa, em toâi ñeå moät mình toâi haàu vieäc, Chuùa haù khoâng nghó ñeán sao? Xin bieåu noù giuùp toâi.

10:41 And Jesus answered and said unto her, Martha, Martha, you are careful and troubled about many things:

10:41 Chuùa ñaùp raèng: Hôõi Ma-theâ, ngöôi chòu khoù vaø boái roái veà nhieàu vieäc;

10:42 But one thing is necessary: and Mary has chosen that good part, which shall not be taken away from her.

10:42 nhöng coù moät vieäc caàn maø thoâi. Ma-ri ñaõ löïa phaàn toát, laø phaàn khoâng coù ai caát laáy ñöôïc.

 Lu ca - Luke

11:1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.

11:1 Coù moät ngaøy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caàu nguyeän ôû nôi kia. Khi caàu nguyeän xong, moät moân ñoà thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin daïy chuùng toâi caàu nguyeän, cuõng nhö Giaêng ñaõ daïy moân ñoà mình.

11:2 And he said unto them, When all of you pray, say, Our Father which are in heaven, Hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.

11:2 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Khi caùc ngöôi caàu nguyeän, haõy noùi: Laïy Cha! danh Cha ñöôïc thaùnh; nöôùc Cha ñöôïc ñeán;

11:3 Give us day by day our daily bread.

11:3 xin cho chuùng toâi ngaøy naøo ñuû baùnh ngaøy aáy;

11:4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.

11:4 xin tha toäi chuùng toâi, vì chuùng toâi cuõng tha keû mích loøng mình; vaø xin chôù ñem chuùng toâi vaøo söï caùm doã!

11:5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;

11:5 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Neáu moät ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi coù baïn höõu, nöûa ñeâm ñeán noùi raèng: Baïn ôi, cho toâi möôïn ba caùi baùnh,

11:6 For a friend of mine in his journey has come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?

11:6 vì ngöôøi baïn toâi ñi ñöôøng môùi tôùi, toâi khoâng coù chi ñaõi ngöôøi.

11:7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give you.

11:7 Neáu ngöôøi kia ôû trong nhaø traû lôøi raèng: Ñöøng khuaáy roái toâi, cöûa ñoùng roài, con caùi vaø toâi ñaõ ñi nguû, khoâng daäy ñöôïc maø laáy baùnh cho anh;

11:8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needs.

11:8 ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, daàu ngöôøi aáy khoâng chòu daäy cho baùnh vì laø baïn mình, nhöng vì côù ngöôøi kia laøm roän, seõ daäy vaø cho ngöôøi ñuû söï caàn duøng.

11:9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and all of you shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.

11:9 Ta laïi noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi: Haõy xin, seõ ban cho; haõy tìm, seõ gaëp; haõy goõ cöûa, seõ môû cho.

11:10 For every one that asks receives; and he that seeks finds; and to him that knocks it shall be opened.

11:10 Vì heã ai xin thì ñöôïc, ai tìm thì gaëp, vaø seõ môû cöûa cho ai goõ.

11:11 If a son shall ask bread of any of you that is a father, will he give him a stone? or if he ask a fish, will he for a fish give him a serpent?

11:11 Trong caùc ngöôi coù ai laøm cha, khi con mình xin baùnh maø cho ñaù chaêng? Hay laø xin caù, maø cho raén thay vì caù chaêng?

11:12 Or if he shall ask an egg, will he offer him a scorpion?

11:12 Hay laø xin tröùng, maø cho boø caïp chaêng?

11:13 If all of you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children: how much more shall your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) to them that ask him?

11:13 Vaäy neáu caùc ngöôi laø ngöôøi xaáu, coøn bieát cho con caùi mình vaät toát thay, huoáng chi Cha caùc ngöôi ôû treân trôøi laïi chaúng ban Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh cho ngöôøi xin Ngaøi!

11:14 And he was casting out a devil, and it was dumb. And it came to pass, when the devil was gone out, the dumb spoke; and the people wondered.

11:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñuoåi moät quæ caâm; khi quæ ra khoûi, ngöôøi caâm lieàn noùi ñöôïc. Daân chuùng ñeàu laáy laøm laï;

11:15 But some of them said, He casts out devils through Beelzebub the chief of the devils.

11:15 song coù maáy keû noùi raèng: Ngöôøi naày nhôø Beâ-eân-xeâ-bun laø chuùa quæ maø tröø quæ.

11:16 And others, tempting him, sought of him a sign from heaven.

11:16 Keû khaùc muoán thöû Ngaøi, thì xin Ngaøi moät daáu laï töø trôøi xuoáng.

11:17 But he, knowing their thoughts, said unto them, Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation; and a house divided against a house falls.

11:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát yù töôûng hoï, beøn phaùn raèng: Nöôùc naøo töï chia reõ nhau thì ñoå xuoáng.

11:18 If Satan also be divided against himself, how shall his kingdom stand? because all of you say that I cast out devils through Beelzebub.

11:18 Vaäy, neáu quæ Sa-tan töï chia reõ nhau, thì nöôùc noù coøn sao ñöôïc, vì caùc ngöôi noùi ta nhôø Beâ-eâ-xeâ-bun maø tröø quæ?

11:19 And if I by Beelzebub cast out devils, by whom do your sons cast them out? therefore shall they be your judges.

11:19 Neáu ta nhôø Beâ-eân-xeâ-bun maø tröø quæ, thì con caùc ngöôi nhôø ai maø tröø quæ? Bôûi vaäy, chính con caùc ngöôi seõ laøm quan aùn caùc ngöôi.

11:20 But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God has come upon you.

11:20 Nhöng neáu ta caäy ngoùn tay Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø tröø quæ, thì nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ñeán nôi caùc ngöôi roài.

11:21 When a strong man armed keeps his palace, his goods are in peace:

11:21 Khi moät ngöôøi maïnh söùc caàm khí giôùi giöõ cöûa nhaø mình, thì cuûa caûi noù vöõng vaøng.

11:22 But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome him, he takes from him all his armour wherein he trusted, and divides his spoils.

11:22 Nhöng coù ngöôøi khaùc maïnh hôn ñeán thaéng ñöôïc, thì cöôùp laáy khí giôùi ngöôøi kia ñaõ nhôø caäy, vaø phaân phaùt saïch cuûa caûi.

11:23 He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathers not with me scatters.

11:23 Phaøm ai khoâng theo ta, thì nghòch cuøng ta, ai khoâng thaâu hieäp vôùi ta, thì tan laïc.

11:24 When the unclean spirit (o. pneuma) is gone out of a man, he walks through dry places, seeking rest; and finding none, he says, I will return unto my house whence I came out.

11:25 And when he comes, he finds it swept and garnished.

11:25 Noù trôû veà, thaáy nhaø queùt saïch vaø doïn deïp töû teá,

11:26 Then goes he, and takes to him seven other spirits (o. pneuma) more wicked than himself; and they enter in, and dwell there: and the last state of that man is worse than the first.

11:26 beøn ñi ruû baûy quæ khaùc döõ hôn mình vaøo nhaø maø ôû; vaäy soá phaän ngöôøi naày laïi khoán khoå hôn phen tröôùc.

11:27 And it came to pass, as he spoke these things, a certain woman of the company lifted up her voice, and said unto him, Blessed is the womb that bare you, and the breast which you have sucked.

11:27 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông phaùn nhöõng ñieàu aáy, coù moät ngöôøi ñôøn baø ôû giöõa daân chuùng caát tieáng thöa raèng: Phöôùc cho daï ñaõ mang Ngaøi vaø vuù ñaõ cho Ngaøi buù!

11:28 But he said, Yea rather, blessed are they that hear the word (o. logos) of God, and keep it.

11:28 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Nhöõng keû nghe vaø giöõ lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coøn coù phöôùc hôn!

11:29 And when the people were gathered thick together, he began to say, This is an evil generation: they seek a sign; and there shall no sign be given it, but the sign of Jonas the prophet.

11:29 Khi daân chuùng nhoùm laïi ñoâng laém, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Doøng doõi naày laø doøng doõi ñoäc aùc; hoï xin moät daáu laï, song seõ khoâng cho daáu laï naøo khaùc hôn daáu laï cuûa Gioâ-na.

11:30 For as Jonas was a sign unto the Ninevites, so shall also the Son of man be to this generation.

11:30 Vì Gioâ-na laø daáu laï cho daân thaønh Ni-ni-ve, thì cuõng moät theå aáy, Con ngöôøi seõ laø daáu laï cho doøng doõi naày.

11:31 The queen of the south shall rise up in the judgment with the men of this generation, and condemn them: for she came from the utmost parts of the earth to hear the wisdom of Solomon; and, behold, a greater than Solomon is here.

11:31 Ñeán ngaøy phaùn xeùt, nöõ hoaøng Nam phöông seõ ñöùng daäy vôùi ngöôøi cuûa doøng doõi naày vaø leân aùn hoï, vì ngöôøi töø nôi ñaàu cuøng ñaát ñeán nghe lôøi khoân ngoan vua Sa-loâ-moân, maø naày, ôû ñaây coù Ñaáng hôn vua Sa-loâ-moân!

11:32 The men of Nineveh shall rise up in the judgment with this generation, and shall condemn it: for they repented at the preaching of Jonas; and, behold, a greater than Jonas is here.

11:32 Ñeán ngaøy phaùn xeùt, daân thaønh Ni-ni-ve seõ ñöùng daäy vôùi ngöôøi cuûa doøng doõi naày vaø leân aùn hoï, vì daân aáy ñaõ nghe lôøi Gioâ-na giaûng daïy vaø aên naên; maø naày, ôû ñaây coù Ñaáng hôn Gioâ-na.

11:33 No man, when he has lighted a candle, puts it in a secret place, neither under a bushel, but on a candlestick, that they which come in may see the light.

11:33 Khoâng ai thaép ñeøn maø ñeå choã khuaát hay laø döôùi thuøng, nhöng ñeå treân chôn ñeøn, haàu cho keû vaøo ñöôïc thaáy saùng.

11:34 The light of the body is the eye: therefore when yours eye is single, your whole body also is full of light; but when yours eye is evil, your body also is full of darkness.

11:34 Maét laø ñeøn cuûa thaân theå; neáu maét ngöôi soõi saøng, caû thaân theå ngöôi ñöôïc saùng laùng; song neáu maét ngöôi xaáu, thaân theå ngöôi phaûi toái taêm.

11:35 Take heed therefore that the light which is in you be not darkness.

11:35 Aáy vaäy, haõy coi chöøng keûo söï saùng trong mình ngöôi hoùa ra söï toái chaêng.

11:36 If your whole body therefore be full of light, having no part dark, the whole shall be full of light, as when the bright shining of a candle does give you light.

11:36 Neáu caû thaân theå ngöôi saùng laùng, khoâng coù phaàn naøo toái taêm, thì seõ ñöôïc saùng heát thaûy, cuõng nhö khi coù caùi ñeøn soi saùng cho ngöôi vaäy.

11:37 And as he spoke, a certain Pharisee besought him to dine with him: and he went in, and sat down to food.

11:37 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöông phaùn, coù moät ngöôøi Pha-ri-si môøi Ngaøi veà nhaø duøng böõa. Ngaøi vaøo ngoài baøn.

11:38 And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.

11:38 Ngöôøi Pha-ri-si thaáy Ngaøi khoâng röûa tröôùc böõa aên, thì laáy laøm laï.

11:39 And the Lord said unto him, Now do all of you Pharisees make clean the outside of the cup and the platter; but your inward part is full of ravening and wickedness.

11:39 Nhöng Chuùa phaùn raèng: Hôõi caùc ngöôi laø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, caùc ngöôi röûa saïch beà ngoaøi cheùn vaø maâm, song beà trong ñaày söï troäm cöôùp vaø ñieàu döõ.

11:40 All of you fools, did not he that made that which is without make that which is within also?

11:40 Hôõi keû daïi doät! Ñaáng ñaõ laøm neân beà ngoaøi, haù khoâng laøm neân beà trong nöõa sao?

11:41 But rather give alms of such things as all of you have; and, behold, all things are clean unto you.

11:41 Thaø caùc ngöôi laáy cuûa mình coù maø boá thí, thì moïi ñieàu seõ saïch cho caùc ngöôi.

11:42 But woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love (o. agape) of God: these ought all of you to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

11:42 Song khoán cho caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, vì caùc ngöôi noäp moät phaàn möôøi veà baïc haø, hoài höông, cuøng moïi thöù rau, coøn söï coâng bình vaø söï kính meán Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì caùc ngöôi boû qua! Aáy laø caùc vieäc phaûi laøm, maø cuõng khoâng neân boû qua caùc vieäc khaùc.

11:43 Woe unto you, Pharisees! for all of you love the uppermost seats in the synagogues, and greetings in the markets.

11:43 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, vì caùc ngöôi öa ngoâi cao nhöùt trong nhaø hoäi, vaø thích ngöôøi ta chaøo mình giöõa chôï!

11:44 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for all of you are as graves which appear not, and the men that walk over them are not aware of them.

11:44 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, vì caùc ngöôi gioáng nhö maû loaïn, ngöôøi ta böôùc leân treân maø khoâng bieát!

11:45 Then answered one of the lawyers, and said unto him, Master, thus saying you reproach us also.

11:45 Moät thaày daïy luaät beøn caát tieáng noùi raèng: Thöa thaày, thaày noùi vaäy cuõng laøm sæ nhuïc chuùng toâi.

11:46 And he said, Woe unto you also, all of you lawyers! for all of you load men with burdens grievous to be borne, and all of you yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.

11:46 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Khoán cho caùc ngöôi nöõa, laø thaày daïy luaät, vì caùc ngöôi chaát cho ngöôøi ta gaùnh naëng khoù mang, maø töï mình thì khoâng ñoäng ngoùn tay ñeán!

11:47 Woe unto you! for all of you build the sepulchers of the prophets, and your fathers killed them.

11:47 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, vì caùc ngöôi xaây moà maû caùc ñaáng tieân tri maø toå phuï mình ñaõ gieát!

11:48 Truly all of you bear witness that all of you allow the deeds of your fathers: for they indeed killed them, and all of you build their sepulchers.

11:48 Nhö vaäy, caùc ngöôi laøm chöùng vaø öng thuaän vieäc toå phuï mình ñaõ laøm; vì hoï ñaõ gieát caùc ñaáng tieân tri, coøn caùc ngöôi laïi xaây moà cho.

11:49 Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute:

11:49 Vaäy neân, söï khoân ngoan cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phaùn raèng: Ta seõ sai ñaáng tieân tri vaø söù ñoà ñeán cuøng chuùng noù; chuùng noù seõ gieát keû naày, baét bôù keû kia,

11:50 That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation;

11:50 haàu cho huyeát moïi ñaáng tieân tri ñoå ra töø khi saùng theá, cöù doøng doõi naày maø ñoøi,

11:51 From the blood of Abel unto the blood of Zacharias which perished between the altar and the temple: verily I say unto you, It shall be required of this generation.

11:51 laø töø huyeát A-beân cho ñeán huyeát Xa-cha-ri ñaõ bò gieát giöõa khoaûng baøn thôø vaø ñeàn thôø; phaûi, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, seõ cöù doøng doõi naày maø ñoøi huyeát aáy.

11:52 Woe unto you, lawyers! for all of you have taken away the key of knowledge: all of you entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in all of you hindered.

11:52 Khoán cho caùc ngöôi, laø thaày daïy luaät, vì caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñoaït laáy chìa khoùa cuûa söï bieát, chính mình khoâng vaøo, maø ngöôøi khaùc muoán vaøo, laïi ngaên caám khoâng cho!

11:53 And as he said these things unto them, the scribes and the Pharisees began to urge him vehemently, and to provoke him to speak of many things:

11:53 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ra khoûi ñoù roài, caùc thaày thoâng giaùo vaø ngöôøi Pha-ra-si beøn ra söùc eùp Ngaøi döõ tôïn, laáy nhieàu caâu hoûi kheâu choïc Ngaøi,

11:54 Laying wait for him, and seeking to catch something out of his mouth, that they might accuse him.

11:54 vaø laäp möu ñeå baét beû lôøi naøo töø mieäng Ngaøi noùi ra.

 Lu ca - Luke

12:1 In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware all of you of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.

12:1 Khi aáy, daân chuùng nhoùm laïi keå haøng ngaøn ngöôøi, ñeán noãi giaøy ñaïp nhau, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus môùi tröôùc heát phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Haõy giöõ mình veà men cuûa ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, laø söï giaû hình.

12:2 For there is nothing covered, that shall not be revealed; neither hid, that shall not be known.

12:2 Chaúng coù söï gì giaáu maø khoâng phaûi loä ra, chaúng coù söï gì kín maø khoâng ñöôïc bieát.

12:3 Therefore whatsoever all of you have spoken in darkness shall be heard in the light; and that which all of you have spoken in the ear in closets shall be proclaimed upon the housetops.

12:3 Vaäy neân moïi ñieàu maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ noùi nôi toái, seõ nghe ra nôi saùng; moïi ñieàu maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ noùi vaøo loã tai trong buoàng kín, seõ giaûng ra treân maùi nhaø.

12:4 And I say unto you my friends, Be not afraid of them that kill the body, and after that have no more that they can do.

12:4 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, laø baïn höõu ta: Ñöøng sôï keû gieát xaùc roài sau khoâng laøm gì ñöôïc nöõa.

12:5 But I will forewarn you whom all of you shall fear: Fear him, which after he has killed has power to cast into hell; yea, I say unto you, Fear him.

12:5 Song ta chæ cho caùc ngöôi bieát phaûi sôï ai: phaûi sôï Ñaáng khi ñaõ gieát roài, coù quyeàn boû xuoáng ñòa nguïc; phaûi ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, aáy laø Ñaáng caùc ngöôi phaûi sôï!

12:6 Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?

12:6 Ngöôøi ta haù chaúng baùn naêm con chim seû giaù hai ñoàng tieàn sao? Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng queân moät con naøo heát.

12:7 But even the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not therefore: all of you are of more value than many sparrows.

12:7 Daàu ñeán toùc treân ñaàu caùc ngöôi cuõng ñaõ ñeám caû roài. Ñöøng sôï chi, vì caùc ngöôi troïng hôn nhieàu chim seû.

12:8 Also I say unto you, Whosoever shall confess me before men, him shall the Son of man also confess before the angels of God:

12:8 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai seõ xöng ta tröôùc moät thieân haï, thì Con ngöôøi cuõng seõ xöng hoï tröôùc maët thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

12:9 But he that denies me before men shall be denied before the angels of God.

12:9 Nhöng ai choái ta tröôùc maët thieân haï, thì hoï seõ bò choái tröôùc maët thieân söù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

12:10 And whosoever shall speak a word (o. logos) against the Son of man, it shall be forgiven him: but unto him that blasphemes against the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) it shall not be forgiven.

12:10 Ai noùi nghòch cuøng Con ngöôøi, thì seõ ñöôïc tha; song keû noùi loäng ngoân ñeán Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh, thì khoâng ñöôïc tha ñaâu.

12:11 And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take all of you no thought how or what thing all of you shall answer, or what all of you shall say:

12:11 Khi ngöôøi ta ñem caùc ngöôi ñeán nhaø hoäi, tröôùc maët quan aùn vaø quan cai trò, thì chôù lo veà noùi caùch naøo ñeå binh vöïc mình, hoaëc noùi lôøi gì;

12:12 For the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) shall teach you in the same hour what all of you ought to say.

12:12 bôûi vì chính giôø ñoù Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh seõ daïy caùc ngöôi nhöõng lôøi phaûi noùi.

12:13 And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me.

12:13 Baáy giôø, moät ngöôøi giöõa daân chuùng thöa raèng: Thöa thaày, xin bieåu anh toâi chia gia taøi cho toâi.

12:14 And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you?

12:14 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi kia, ai ñaët ta laøm quan xöû kieän hay laø chia cuûa cho caùc ngöôi?

12:15 And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consists not in the abundance of the things which he possesses.

12:15 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng chuùng raèng: Haõy giöõ caån thaän chôù haø tieän gì heát; vì söï soáng cuûa ngöôøi ta khoâng phaûi coát taïi cuûa caûi mình dö daät ñaâu.

12:16 And he spoke a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully:

12:16 Ngaøi laïi phaùn cuøng chuùng lôøi vinh döï naày: Ruoäng cuûa moät ngöôøi giaøu kia sinh lôïi nhieàu laém,

12:17 And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits?

12:17 ngöôøi beøn töï nghó raèng: Ta phaûi laøm theå naøo? Vì khoâng coù ñuû choã chöùa heát saûn vaät.

12:18 And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods.

12:18 Laïi noùi: Naày, vieäc ta seõ laøm: ta phaù caû kho taøng vaø caát caùi khaùc lôùn hôn, thaâu tröû saûn vaät vaø gia taøi vaøo ñoù;

12:19 And I will say to my soul, Soul, you have much goods laid up for many years; take yours ease, eat, drink, and be merry.

12:19 roài seõ noùi vôùi linh hoàn ta raèng: Linh hoàn ôi, maày ñaõ ñöôïc nhieàu cuûa ñeå daønh duøng laâu naêm; thoâi, haõy nghæ, aên uoáng, vaø vui veû.

12:20 But God said unto him, You fool, this night your soul shall be required of you: then whose shall those things be, which you have provided?

12:20 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi keû daïi! Chính ñeâm nay linh hoàn ngöôi seõ bò ñoøi laïi; vaäy nhöõng cuûa caûi ngöôi ñaõ saém saün seõ thuoäc veà ai?

12:21 So is he that lays up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God.

12:21 Heã ai thaâu tröû cuûa cho mình maø khoâng giaøu coù nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thì cuõng nhö vaäy.

12:22 And he said unto his disciples, Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what all of you shall eat; neither for the body, what all of you shall put on.

12:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Aáy vaäy, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñöøng vì söï soáng mình maø lo ñoà aên, cuõng ñöøng vì thaân theå mình maø lo ñoà maëc.

12:23 The life is more than food, and the body is more than raiment.

12:23 Söï soáng troïng hôn ñoà aên, thaân theå troïng hôn ñoà maëc.

12:24 Consider the ravens: for they neither sow nor reap; which neither have storehouse nor barn; and God feeds them: how much more are all of you better than the fowls?

12:24 Haõy xem con quaï: noù khoâng gieo, khoâng gaët, cuõng khoâng coù haàm vöïa kho taøng chi, maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coøn nuoâi noù; huoáng chi caùc ngöôi quí hôn chim choùc laø döôøng naøo!

12:25 And which of you with taking thought can add to his stature one cubit?

12:25 Coù ai trong caùc ngöôi lo laéng maø laøm cho ñôøi mình daøi theâm moät khaéc khoâng?

12:26 If all of you then be not able to do that thing which is least, why take all of you thought for the rest?

12:26 Vaäy neáu ñeán vieäc raát nhoû caùc ngöôi cuõng khoâng coù theå ñöôïc sao caùc ngöôi lo vieäc khaùc?

12:27 Consider the lilies how they grow: they toil not, they spin not; and yet I say unto you, that Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

12:27 Haõy xem hoa hueä moïc leân theå naøo: noù chaúng laøm khoù nhoïc, cuõng khoâng keùo chæ; song ta phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi, daàu vua Sa-loâ-moân sang troïng ñeán ñaâu, cuõng khoâng ñöôïc maëc aùo nhö moät hoa naøo trong gioáng aáy.

12:28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and tomorrow is cast into the oven; how much more will he clothe you, O all of you of little faith?

12:28 Hôõi keû ít ñöùc tin, neáu loaøi coû ngoaøi ñoàng laø loaøi nay soáng mai boû vaøo loø, maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coøn cho maëc theå aáy, huoáng chi laø caùc ngöôi!

12:29 And seek not all of you what all of you shall eat, or what all of you shall drink, neither be all of you of doubtful mind.

12:29 Vaäy caùc ngöôi ñöøng kieám ñoà aên ñoà uoáng, cuõng ñöøng coù loøng lo laéng.

12:30 For all these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knows that all of you have need of these things.

12:30 Vì moïi söï ñoù, caùc daân ngoaïi ôû theá gian vaãn thöôøng tìm, vaø Cha caùc ngöôi bieát caùc ngöôi caàn duøng moïi söï ñoù roài.

12:31 But rather seek all of you the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added unto you.

12:31 Nhöng thaø caùc ngöôi haõy tìm kieám nöôùc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, roài moïi söï ñoù seõ ñöôïc cho theâm.

12:32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.

12:32 Hôõi baày nhoû, ñöøng sôï chi; vì Cha caùc ngöôi ñaõ baèng loøng cho caùc ngöôi nöôùc thieân ñaøng.

12:33 Sell that all of you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old, a treasure in the heavens that fails not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts.

12:33 Haõy baùn gia taøi mình maø boá thí. Haõy saém cho mình tuùi khoâng hö, vaø cuûa baùu khoâng heà hao keùm ôû treân trôøi, laø nôi keû troäm khoâng ñeán gaàn, saâu moït khoâng laøm hö naùt.

12:34 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

12:34 Vì cuûa baùu caùc ngöôi ôû ñaâu, thì loøng cuõng ôû ñoù.

12:35 Let your loins be girded about, and your lights burning;

12:35 Löng caùc ngöôi phaûi thaét laïi, ñeøn caùc ngöôi phaûi thaép leân.

12:36 And all of you yourselves like unto men that wait for their lord, when he will return from the wedding; that when he comes and knocks, they may open unto him immediately.

12:36 Haõy laøm nhö ngöôøi chôø ñôïi chuû mình ôû tieäc cöôùi veà, ñeå luùc chuû ñeán goõ cöûa thì lieàn môû.

12:37 Blessed are those servants, whom the lord when he comes shall find watching: verily I say unto you, that he shall gird himself, and make them to sit down to food, and will come forth and serve them.

12:38 And if he shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants.

12:38 Hoaëc canh hai, canh ba, chuû trôû veà, neáu thaáy ñaày tôù nhö vaäy thì phöôùc cho hoï!

12:39 And this know, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through.

12:39 Haõy bieát roõ, neáu chuû nhaø hay keû troäm ñeán giôø naøo, thì seõ tænh thöùc, chaúng ñeå cho noù ñaøo ngaïch nhaø ñaâu.

12:40 Be all of you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when all of you think not.

12:40 Caùc ngöôi cuõng vaäy, haõy chöïc cho saün saøng, vì Con ngöôøi seõ ñeán trong giôø caùc ngöôi khoâng ngôø.

12:41 Then Peter said unto him, Lord, speak you this parable unto us, or even to all?

12:41 Phi -e-rô beøn thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, thí duï naày Chuùa phaùn cho chuùng toâi, hay laø cuõng cho moïi ngöôøi?

12:42 And the Lord said, Who then is that faithful and wise steward, whom his lord shall make ruler over his household, to give them their portion of food in due season?

12:42 Chuùa ñaùp raèng: Ai laø ngöôøi quaûn gia ngay thaät khoân ngoan, chuû nhaø ñaët coi caû ngöôøi nhaø mình, ñeå ñeán dòp tieän, phaùt löông phaïn cho hoï?

12:43 Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he comes shall find so doing.

12:43 Phöôùc cho ñaày tôù aáy khi chuû nhaø veà, thaáy laøm nhö vaäy!

12:44 Truthfully I say unto you, that he will make him ruler over all that he has.

12:44 Quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, chuû seõ cho noù quaûn lyù caû gia taøi mình.

12:45 But and if that servant say in his heart, My lord delays his coming; and shall begin to beat the male servants and maidens, and to eat and drink, and to be drunken;

12:45 Nhöng neáu ñaày tôù aáy töï nghó raèng: Chuû ta chaäm ñeán; roài cöù ñaùnh ñaäp ñaày tôù trai vaø gaùi, aên uoáng say söa,

12:46 The lord of that servant will come in a day when he looks not for him, and at an hour when he is not aware, and will cut him in two, and will appoint him his portion with the unbelievers.

12:46 thì chuû noù seõ ñeán trong ngaøy noù khoâng deø, vaø giôø noù khoâng bieát; laáy roi ñaùnh xeù da noù, vaø ñeå cho noù ñoàng soá phaän vôùi keû baát trung.

12:47 And that servant, which knew his lord's will, and prepared not himself, neither did according to his will, shall be beaten with many stripes.

12:47 Ñaày tôù naày ñaõ bieát yù chuû mình, maø khoâng söûa soaïn saün vaø khoâng theo yù aáy, thì seõ bò ñoøn nhieàu.

12:48 But he that knew not, and did commit things worthy of stripes, shall be beaten with few stripes. For unto whomsoever much is given, of him shall be much required: and to whom men have committed much, of him they will ask the more.

12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled?

12:49 Ta ñaõ ñeán quaêng löûa xuoáng ñaát; neáu chaùy leân roài, ta coøn öôùc ao chi nöõa!

12:50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

12:50 Coù moät pheùp baùp-tem maø ta phaûi chòu, ta ñau ñôùn bieát bao cho ñeán chöøng naøo pheùp aáy ñöôïc hoaøn thaønh!

12:51 Suppose all of you that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

12:51 Caùc ngöôi töôûng ta ñeán ñem söï bình an cho theá gian sao? Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, khoâng, nhöng thaø ñem söï phaân reõ.

12:52 For from henceforth there shall be five in one house divided, three against two, and two against three.

12:52 Vì töø nay veà sau, neáu naêm ngöôøi ôû chung moät nhaø, thì seõ phaân li nhau, ba ngöôøi nghòch cuøng hai, hai ngöôøi nghòch cuøng ba;

12:53 The father shall be divided against the son, and the son against the father; the mother against the daughter, and the daughter against the mother; the mother in law against her daughter in law, and the daughter in law against her mother in law.
