 Giop - Job

23:1 Then Job answered and said,

23:1 Gioùp ñaùp raèng:

23:2 Even to day is my complaint bitter: my stroke is heavier than my groaning.

23:2 Cho ñeán ngaøy nay, söï than sieát toâi haõy coøn cay ñaéng, Tay ñeø treân toâi naëng hôn söï reân sieát toâi.

23:3 Oh that I knew where I might find him! that I might come even to his seat!

23:3 Oâi! Chôù chi toâi bieát nôi naøo tìm ñöôïc Chuùa, Haàu cho ñi ñeán tröôùc toøa cuûa Ngaøi?

23:4 I would order my cause before him, and fill my mouth with arguments.

23:4 Toâi haún seõ giaõi baøy duyeân côù toâi tröôùc maët Ngaøi, Vaø laøm ñaày mieäng toâi nhöõng lyù luaän.

23:5 I would know the words which he would answer me, and understand what he would say unto me.

23:5 Toâi seõ bieát caùc lôøi Ngaøi ñaùp laïi cho toâi, Vaø hieåu ñieàu Ngaøi muoán phaùn cuøng toâi.

23:6 Will he plead against me with his great power? No; but he would put strength in me.

23:6 Chuùa haù seõ laáy quyeàn naêng lôùn lao Ngaøi maø tranh luaän vôùi toâi sao? Khoâng, Ngaøi seõ chuù yù veà toâi.

23:7 There the righteous might dispute with him; so should I be delivered for ever from my judge.

23:7 Taïi ñoù ngöôøi ngay thaúng seõ luaän bieän vôùi Ngaøi, Vaø toâi ñöôïc thoaùt khoûi keû ñoaùn xeùt toâi ñeán maõi maõi.

23:8 Behold, I go forward, but he is not there; and backward, but I cannot perceive him:

23:8 Naày, toâi ñi tôùi tröôùc, nhöng khoâng coù Ngaøi taïi ñoù; Toâi ñi laïi sau, song toâi cuõng chaúng nhìn thaáy Ngaøi;

23:9 On the left hand, where he does work, but I cannot behold him: he hides himself on the right hand, that I cannot see him:

23:9 Qua phía taû, khi Ngaøi ñöông laøm coâng vieäc ñoù, song toâi khoâng phaân bieät Ngaøi ñöôïc; Ngaøi aån taïi phía höõu, neân toâi chaúng thaáy Ngaøi.

23:10 But he knows the way that I take: when he has tried me, I shall come forth as gold.

23:10 Nhöng Chuùa bieát con ñöôøng toâi ñi; Khi Ngaøi ñaõ thöû reøn toâi, toâi seõ ra nhö vaøng.

23:11 My foot has held his steps, his way have I kept, and not declined.

23:11 Chôn toâi beùn theo böôùc Chuùa; Toâi giöõ ñi theo ñöôøng Ngaøi, chaúng heà sai leäch.

23:12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

23:12 Toâi chaúng heà lìa boû caùc ñieàu raên cuûa moâi Ngaøi, Vaãn vaâng theo lôøi cuûa mieäng Ngaøi hôn laø yù muoán loøng toâi.

23:13 But he is in one mind, and who can turn him? and what his soul desires, even that he does.

23:13 Nhöng Chuùa ñaõ moät yù nhöùt ñònh, ai laøm cho Ngaøi ñoåi ñöôïc? Ñieàu gì loøng Ngaøi muoán, aét Ngaøi laøm cho thaønh:

23:14 For he performs the thing that is appointed for me: and many such things are with him.

23:14 Ñieàu Ngaøi ñaõ nhöùt ñònh cho toâi, taát Ngaøi seõ laøm cho xong: Trong loøng Ngaøi coøn coù laém ñieàu khaùc gioáng nhö vaäy.

23:15 Therefore am I troubled at his presence: when I consider, I am afraid of him.

23:15 Bôûi côù aáy, toâi kinh khuûng tröôùc maët Ngaøi; Khi naøo toâi töôûng ñeán, beøn sôï haõi Ngaøi.

23:16 For God makes my heart soft, and the Almighty troubles me:

23:16 Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khieán loøng toâi buûn ruûn, Ñaáng Toaøn naêng laøm cho toâi hoaûng sôï;

23:17 Because I was not cut off before the darkness, neither has he covered the darkness from my face.

23:17 Vì toâi chaúng sôï seät bôûi söï toái taêm, Cuõng chaúng sôï haõi vì u aùm muø mòt che phuû maët toâi.

 Giop - Job

24:1 Why, seeing times are not hidden from the Almighty, do they that know him not see his days?

24:1 Nhaân vì Ñaáng Toaøn naêng ñaõ ñònh kyø phaït aùc, Côù sao Ngaøi khoâng khieán keû nhaän bieát Ngaøi ñöôïc thaáy ngaøy aáy?

24:2 Some remove the landmarks; they violently take away flocks, and feed thereof.

24:2 Coù ngöôøi dôøi suït moäc giôùi, Aên caép baày chieân, roài daãn cho aên.

24:3 They drive away the ass of the fatherless, they take the widow's ox for a pledge.

24:3 Chuùng cöôùp daãn löøa cuûa keû moà coâi, Laáy boø cuûa ngöôøi goùa buïa laøm cuûa caàm.

24:4 They turn the needy out of the way: the poor of the earth hide themselves together.

24:4 Chuùng khieán keû ngheøo lìa boû ñöôøng chaùnh ñaùng, Keû khoán cuøng cuûa theá gian ñoàng nhau ñi aån traùnh.

24:5 Behold, as wild asses in the desert, go they forth to their work; rising early for a prey: the wilderness yields food for them and for their children.

24:5 Kìa, vöøa sôùm mai chuùng ñi ra laøm coâng vieäc mình, Tìm löông thöïc mình, nhö löøa röøng nôi ñoàng vaéng; Ñoàng vaéng caáp thöïc vaät cho con caùi chuùng noù.

24:6 They reap every one his corn in the field: and they gather the vintage of the wicked.

24:6 Chuùng noù thaâu goùp rôm coû taïi trong ñoàng ruoäng, Moùt traùi nho trong vöôøn cuûa keû laø aùc.

24:7 They cause the naked to lodge without clothing, that they have no covering in the cold.

24:7 Troïn ñeâm chuùng noù naèm traàn truoàng khoâng quaàn aùo, Vaø chaúng coù meàm ñaép khoûi laïnh.

24:8 They are wet with the showers of the mountains, and embrace the rock for lack of a shelter.

24:8 Chuùng noù bò daàm möa nuùi, Khoâng nôi ñuït, beøn neùp mình vaøo hoøn ñaù.

24:9 They pluck the fatherless from the breast, and take a pledge of the poor.

24:9 Coù ngöôøi cöôùp keû moà coâi cha coøn buù; Baét theá chöng aùo treân mình keû ngheøo;

24:10 They cause him to go naked without clothing, and they take away the sheaf from the hungry;

24:11 Chuùng eùp daàu trong kho chuû mình, Ñaïp traùi nho nôi thuøng, maø bò khaùt.

24:12 Men groan from out of the city, and the soul of the wounded cries out: yet God lays not folly to them.

24:12 Töø trong thaønh noåi leân tieáng thôû than cuûa ngöôøi ta, Linh hoàn keû bò thöông keâu van; Song Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng keå ñeán toäi aùc vaãn phaïm taïi ñoù.

24:13 They are of those that rebel against the light; they know not the ways thereof, nor abide in the paths thereof.

24:13 Cuõng coù keû khaùc thuø nghòch vôùi aùnh saùng; Khoâng bieát ñaïo cuûa aùnh saùng, Vaø chaúng ñi trong con ñöôøng noù.

24:14 The murderer rising with the light kills the poor and needy, and in the night is as a thief.

24:14 Vöøa raïng ngaøy keû gieát ngöôøi choåi daäy, Gieát keû ngheøo khoå vaø tuùng cuøng; Coøn ban ñeâm noù nhö keû troäm.

24:15 The eye also of the adulterer waits for the twilight, saying, No eye shall see me: and disguises his face.

24:15 Maét keû haønh daâm cuõng troâng ngoùng khi chaäp toái, Maø noùi raèng: "Chaúng moät maét ai seõ thaáy toâi", Vaø noù che kín maët mình.

24:16 In the dark they dig through houses, which they had marked for themselves in the daytime: they know not the light.

24:16 Ñöông ñeâm toái taêm chuùng noù khoeùt nhaø, Ban ngaøy laïi ruùt aån maát; Chuùng noù chaúng bieát aùnh saùng.

24:17 For the morning is to them even as the shadow of death: if one know them, they are in the terrors of the shadow of death.

24:17 Buoåi saùng voán laø boùng cheát cho chuùng noù thay thaûy, Vì chuùng noù bieát söï kinh haõi veà boùng söï cheát,

24:18 He is swift as the waters; their portion is cursed in the earth: he beholds not the way of the vineyards.

24:18 Chuùng noù qua chong choùng nhö vaät nheï troâi nôi maët nöôùc; Phaàn nghieäp hoï bò ruûa saû taïi treân ñaát; Chaúng coøn trôû veà loái vöôøn nho nöõa.

24:20 The womb shall forget him; the worm shall feed sweetly on him; he shall be no more remembered; and wickedness shall be broken as a tree.

24:20 Loøng meï seõ queân chuùng noù ñi; Caùc saâu boï aên ngon chuùng noù; Ngöôøi ta khoâng coøn nhôù hoï nöõa; Vaø söï gian aùc seõ bò beû gaãy ra nhö caây coái.

24:21 He evil entreats the barren that bears not: and does not good to the widow.

24:22 He draws also the mighty with his power: he rises up, and no man is sure of life.

24:22 Song Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laáy quyeàn naêng Ngaøi maø baûo toaøn ngöôøi theá löïc; Ngaøi ñôõ leân keû heát troâng ñöôïc baûo toàn maïng soáng mình.

24:23 Though it be given him to be in safety, whereon he rests; yet his eyes are upon their ways.

24:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ban cho chuùng söï vöõng vaøng, chuùng nöông caäy nôi söï aáy; Nhöng con maét Ngaøi coi chöøng ñöôøng loái cuûa chuùng.

24:24 They are exalted for a little while, but are gone and brought low; they are taken out of the way as all other, and cut off as the tops of the ears of corn.

24:24 Chuùng ñöôïc cao troïng; ñoaïn moät ít laâu, chaúng coøn nöõa. Chuùng ngaõ xuoáng, bò caát ñem ñi nhö moïi ngöôøi khaùc; Hoï bò caét nhö ngoïn gieù luùa vaäy.

24:25 And if it be not so now, who will make me a liar, and make my speech nothing worth?

24:25 Neáu ñieàu ñoù chaúng vaäy, ai baét leõ toâi noùi doái, Vaø dieät lôøi giaûng luaän toâi ra hö khoâng?

 Giop - Job

25:1 Then answered Bildad the Shuhite, and said,

25:2 Dominion and fear are with him, he makes peace in his high places.

25:2 Quyeàn quaûn trò vaø söï sôï haõi thuoäc veà Chuùa: Ngaøi khieán hoøa bình trong caùc nôi cao cuûa ngaøi.

 Giop - Job

26:1 But Job answered and said,

26:2 Ngöôi ñaõ phuø trôï keû khoâng quyeàn döôøng naøo! Tieáp cöùu caùnh tay chaúng söùc löïc,

26:5 Dead things are formed from under the waters, and the inhabitants thereof.

 Giop - Job

27:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

 Giop - Job

28:1 Surely there is a vein for the silver, and a place for gold where they fine it.

28:1 Baïc coù moû ñeå ngöôøi ta ñaøo laáy noù, Vaø vaøng coù nôi ngöôøi ta luyeän noù.

28:2 Saét töø nôi ñaát laáy ra, Ñaù ñuùc chaûy ra maø laáy ñöôïc ñoàng.

28:3 He sets an end to darkness, and searches out all perfection: the stones of darkness, and the shadow of death.

28:3 Loaøi ngöôøi laøm tan taêm toái, Doø xeùt ñeán cuøng toät, Hoøn ñaù ôû nôi aâm aåm toái taêm ñen kòch.

28:4 The flood breaks out from the inhabitant; even the waters forgotten of the foot: they are dried up, they are gone away from men.

28:4 Ngöôøi ta ñaøo moû xa choã loaøi ngöôøi ôû treân theá, Taïi trong nôi vaéng veû khoâng chôn ngöôøi ñi ñeán; Chuùng bò treo vaø ñoøng ñöa xa caùch loaøi ngöôøi,

28:11 Ngöôøi ngaên nöôùc soâng ñeå chaúng rònh ra; Ñem ra saùng ñieàu chi aån bí.

28:12 But where shall wisdom be found? and where is the place of understanding?

28:12 Coøn söï khoân ngoan tìm ñöôïc ôû ñaâu? Taïi nôi naøo coù söï thoâng saùng?

28:13 Man knows not the price thereof; neither is it found in the land of the living.

28:13 Ngöôøi ta chaúng bieát ñöôïc giaù trò noù; Noù khoâng ôû taïi treân ñaát cuûa loaøi soáng.

28:14 The depth says, It is not in me: and the sea says, It is not with me.

28:14 Vöïc saâu raèng: Noù chaúng coù trong toâi, Vaø bieån raèng: Noù khoâng ôû cuøng toâi.

28:15 It cannot be got for gold, neither shall silver be weighed for the price thereof.

28:15 Chaúng duøng vaøng roøng ñoåi laáy noù ñaëng, Cuõng khoâng heà caân baïc maø mua ñöôïc noù.

28:16 It cannot be valued with the gold of Ophir, with the precious onyx, or the sapphire.

28:17 The gold and the crystal cannot equal it: and the exchange of it shall not be for jewels of fine gold.

28:17 Chaúng saùnh noù ñöôïc vôùi vaøng hay laø pha leâ, Cuõng khoâng ñoåi noù ñeå laáy khí duïng baèng vaøng roøng.

28:18 No mention shall be made of coral, or of pearls: for the price of wisdom is above rubies.

28:18 Coøn san hoâ vaø thuûy tinh, thì chaúng caàn noùi ñeán; Giaù trò söï khoân ngoan thaät cao hôn chaâu baùu.

28:19 The topaz of Ethiopia shall not equal it, neither shall it be valued with pure gold.

28:20 Whence then comes wisdom? and where is the place of understanding?

28:20 Vaäy thì söï khoân ngoan ôû ñaâu ñeán? Söï thoâng saùng ôû taïi nôi naøo?

28:21 Seeing it is hid from the eyes of all living, and kept close from the fowls of the air.

28:21 Noù vaãn giaáu khuaát maét caùc loaøi soáng. Vaø traùnh aån caùc chim trôøi.

28:22 Destruction and death say, We have heard the fame thereof with our ears.

28:22 Choán traàm luaân vaø söï cheát noùi raèng: Loã tai chuùng toâi coù nghe tieáng ñoàn veà noù.

28:23 God understands the way thereof, and he knows the place thereof.

28:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thoâng hieåu con ñöôøng noù, Vaø roõ bieát choã ôû cuûa noù.

28:24 For he looks to the ends of the earth, and sees under the whole heaven;

28:24 Vì Ngaøi nhìn thaáu taän caùc ñaàu theá gian, Vaø thaáy roõ khaép thieân haï.

28:25 To make the weight for the winds; and he weights the waters by measure.

28:25 Khi Ngaøi ñònh söùc naëng cho gioù, ñoä löôïng cho caùc nöôùc,

28:26 When he made a decree for the rain, and a way for the lightning of the thunder:

28:26 Ñònh luaät leä cho möa, Vaø laäp ñöôøng loái cho chôùp vaø saám.

28:27 Then did he see it, and declare it; he prepared it, yea, and searched it out.

28:27 Baáy giôø Ngaøi thaáy söï khoân ngoan, vaø baøy toû noù ra, Ngaøi laäp noù vaø doø xeùt noù nöõa;

28:28 And unto man he said, Behold, the fear of the LORD, that is wisdom; and to depart from evil is understanding.

28:28 Ñoaïn, phaùn vôùi loaøi nguôøi raèng: Kính sôï Chuùa, aáy laø söï khoân ngoan; Traùnh khoûi ñieàu aùc, aáy laø söï thoâng saùng.

 Giop - Job

29:1 Moreover Job continued his parable, and said,

29:1 Gioùp cöù noùi leõ luaän cao mình, maø raèng:

29:2 Oh that I were as in months past, as in the days when God preserved me;

29:2 Oâi! Öôùc gì toâi ñöôïc nhö buoåi tröôùc, Nhö trong caùc ngaøy maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi gìn giöõ toâi;

29:3 When his candle shined upon my head, and when by his light I walked through darkness;

29:3 Khi ngoïn ñuoác Chuùa soi treân ñaàu toâi; Vaø nhôø aùnh saùng Ngaøi, toâi böôùc qua söï toái taêm.

29:4 As I was in the days of my youth, when the secret of God was upon my tabernacle;

29:4 Chôù chi toâi ñöôïc nhö luùc coøn traùng kieät, Khi tình thieät höõu cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coøn ñoaùi ñeán traïi toâi;

29:5 When the Almighty was yet with me, when my children were about me;

29:5 Khi Ñaáng Toaøn naêng coøn ôû cuøng toâi, Vaø caùc con caùi toâi vaây quanh toâi;

29:6 When I washed my steps with butter, and the rock poured me out rivers of oil;

29:6 Luùc toâi röûa chôn trong söõa, Vaø hoøn ñaù phun suoái daàu ra cho toâi!

29:7 When I went out to the gate through the city, when I prepared my seat in the street!

29:7 Khi toâi ñi ra ñeán cöûa thaønh, Söûa soaïn choã ngoài mình taïi phoá chôï,

29:8 The young men saw me, and hid themselves: and the aged arose, and stood up.

29:8 Caùc gaõ trai treû thaáy toâi beøn aån ñi, Vaø caùc ngöôøi giaø caû ñeàu choåi daäy vaø ñöùng;

29:9 The princes refrained talking, and laid their hand on their mouth.

29:9 Nhöõng quan tröôûng kieâng noùi, Vaø laáy tay buïm mieäng;

29:10 The nobles held their peace, and their tongue cleaved to the roof of their mouth.

29:10 Tieáng ngöôøi töôùc vò nín thinh, Vaø löôõi hoï dính nôi oå gaø.

29:11 When the ear heard me, then it blessed me; and when the eye saw me, it gave witness to me:

29:11 Khi tai ai nghe toâi, beøn xöng toâi coù phöôùc, Maét ai thaáy toâi, beøn laøm chöùng cho toâi.

29:12 Because I delivered the poor that cried, and the fatherless, and him that had none to help him.

29:12 Aáy vì toâi giaûi cöùu keû khoán cuøng keâu caàu, Vaø keû moà coâi khoâng ai giuùp ñôõ.

29:13 The blessing of him that was ready to perish came upon me: and I caused the widow's heart to sing for joy.

29:13 Keû gaàn cheát chuùc phöôùc cho toâi, Vaø toâi laøm cho loøng ngöôøi goùa buïa nöùc nôû vui möøng.

29:14 I put on righteousness, and it clothed me: my judgment was as a robe and a diadem.

29:14 Toâi maëc laáy söï coâng bình, vaø noù che phuû toâi, Söï ngay thaúng toâi khaùc naøo aùo ngoaøi vaø maõo trieàu thieân.

29:15 I was eyes to the blind, and feet was I to the lame.

29:15 Toâi ñaõ nhö con maét cho keû muø, Vaø nhö chôn cho keû queø.

29:16 I was a father to the poor: and the cause which I knew not I searched out.

29:16 Toâi ñaõ laøm cha cho keû ngheøo khoù, Coøn duyeân côù cuûa keû laï, toâi tra xeùt cho roõ raøng.

29:17 And I brake the jaws of the wicked, and plucked the spoil out of his teeth.

29:17 Toâi beû gaãy haøm keû baát coâng, Vaø röùt moài noù ngaäm nôi raêng.

29:18 Then I said, I shall die in my nest, and I shall multiply my days as the sand.

29:18 Toâi beøn noùi raèng: Ta seõ thaùc trong oå cuûa ta; Ngaøy ta seõ nhieàu nhö hoät caùt;

29:19 My root was spread out by the waters, and the dew lay all night upon my branch.

29:19 Reã ta boø aên daøi theo nöôùc, Vaø caû ñeâm söông ñoïng treân nhaønh ta.

29:20 My glory was fresh in me, and my bow was renewed in my hand.

29:20 Vinh hieån ta môùi meû vôùi ta luoân, Cung ta ñöôïc cöùng maïnh laïi trong tay ta.

29:21 Unto me men gave ear, and waited, and kept silence at my counsel.

29:21 Ngöôøi ta laéng tai nghe toâi, chôø ñôïi, Vaø laøm thinh ñaëng nghe lôøi toâi baøn.

29:22 After my words they spoke not again; and my speech dropped upon them.

29:22 Sau khi toâi noùi, chuùng khoâng coøn ñaùp laïi; Lôøi toâi noùi goäi nhuaàn treân chuùng (nhö söông).

29:23 And they waited for me as for the rain; and they opened their mouth wide as for the latter rain.

29:23 Hoï troâng ñôïi toâi nhö troâng ñôïi möa, Haû mieäng ra döôøng nhö höùng möa muoän.

29:24 If I laughed on them, they believed it not; and the light of my countenance they cast not down.

29:24 Toâi mæm cöôøi vôùi chuùng, khi chuùng bò ngaõ loøng; Hoï chaúng heà laøm roái neùt maët bình tònh toâi ñöôïc.

29:25 I chose out their way, and sat chief, and dwelt as a king in the army, as one that comforts the mourners.

29:25 Toâi choïn con ñöôøng cho chuùng, vaø ngoài laøm ñaàu hoï, ÔÛ nhö vua taïi ôû giöõa quaân ñoäi, Khaùc naøo moät keû an uûy nhöõng ngöôøi saàu.

 Giop - Job

30:1 But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

30:1 Song baây giôø, keû treû tuoåi hôn toâi nhaïo baùng toâi, Maø cha hoï toâi ñaõ khinh, chaúng khöùng ñeå Chung vôùi choù cuûa baày chieân toâi.

30:2 Yea, whereto might the strength of their hands profit me, in whom old age was perished?

30:2 Söùc maïnh cuûa hoï ñaõ hö haïi roài; Vaäy, söùc löïc tay hoï duøng laøm ích gì cho toâi?

30:3 For lack and famine they were solitary; fleeing into the wilderness in former time desolate and waste.

30:3 Chuùng oám tong vì bò ñoùi keùm thieáu thoán, ñi gaäm caïp ñaát khoâ hoùc, Töø laâu ñaõ boû hoang vaéng veû.

30:4 Who cut up mallows by the bushes, and juniper roots for their food.

30:4 Chuùng haùi rau sam bieån trong buïi caây, Reã caây gieâng gieáng laøm vaät thöïc cho hoï.

30:5 They were driven forth from among men, (they cried after them as after a thief;)

30:5 Chuùng bò ñuoåi ñi khoûi giöõa loaøi ngöôøi; Ngöôøi ta keâu la chuùng nhö keâu la keû troäm.

30:6 To dwell in the cliffs of the valleys, in caves of the earth, and in the rocks.

30:6 Chuùng phaûi ôû trong truõng gôùm gheâ, Trong hang ñaát vaø giöõa caùc hoøn ñaù.

30:7 Among the bushes they brayed; under the nettles they were gathered together.

30:7 Chuùng tru theùt giöõa buïi caây, Naèm loän laïo nhau döôùi caùc luøm gai.

30:8 They were children of fools, yea, children of base men: they were viler than the earth.

30:8 Chuùng laø con caùi keû ngu xuaån, cha hoï chaúng tuoåi teân, Hoï bò ñuoåi ra khoûi xöù.

30:9 And now am I their song, yea, I am their byword.

30:9 Coøn baây giôø, toâi trôû neân lôøi ca haùt cuûa hoï, Laøm ñeà cho chuyeän troø cuûa hoï.

30:10 They detest me, they flee far from me, and spare not to spit in my face.

30:10 Hoï gôùm ghieác toâi, xa laùnh toâi, Khoâng kieâng nhoå khaïc nôi maët toâi.

30:11 Because he has loosed my cord, and afflicted me, they have also let loose the bridle before me.

30:11 Bôûi vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ laøm duøn caây cung toâi, vaø sæ nhuïc toâi. Chuùng neùm haøm khôùp khoûi tröôùc maët toâi.

30:12 Upon my right hand rise the youth; they push away my feet, and they raise up against me the ways of their destruction.

30:12 Caùi hoá lu la naày daáy leân nôi tay höõu toâi; Chuùng xoâ ñaåy chôn toâi, Söûa soaïn cho toâi con ñöôøng hieåm ñoäc cuûa chuùng.

30:13 They ruin my path, they set forward my calamity, they have no helper.

30:13 Chuùng phaù huûy ñöôøng loái toâi, Giuùp vaøo vieäc taøn haïi toâi; Song chaúng coù ai ñeán tieáp cöùu chuùng.

30:14 They came upon me as a wide breaking in of waters: in the desolation they rolled themselves upon me.

30:14 Chuùng do nôi hö luõng lôùn maø ñeán, Xoâng vaøo toâi giöõa söï ñoài taøn.

30:15 Terrors are turned upon me: they pursue my soul as the wind: and my welfare passes away as a cloud.

30:15 Caùc söï kinh khuûng haõm aùp toâi, Ñuoåi theo söï sang troïng toâi khaùc naøo gioù maïnh, Vaø söï phöôùc haïnh toâi ñaõ qua nhö ñaùm maây.

30:16 And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me.

30:16 Baây giôø, linh hoàn toâi tan ra trong mình toâi; Caùc ngaøy gian nan ñaõ haõm baét toâi,

30:17 My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

30:17 Ñeâm soi xöông coát toâi laøm noù rôøi ra khoûi toâi, Ñau ñôùn vaãn caén ræa toâi, khoâng ngöng nghæ chuùt naøo.

30:18 By the great force of my disease is my garment changed: it binds me about as the collar of my coat.

30:18 Vì côù naêng löïc lôùn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, aùo ngoaøi toâi hö naùt; Naêng löïc aáy rieát khí toâi laïi nhö coå aùo toâi.

30:19 He has cast me into the mire, and I am become like dust and ashes.

30:19 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù neùm toâi xuoáng buøn, Toâi trôû neân gioáng nhö buïi vaø tro.

30:20 I cry unto you, and you do not hear me: I stand up, and you regard me not.

30:20 Toâi keâu la cuøng Chuùa, song Chuùa chaúng ñaùp lôøi; Toâi ñöùng taïi ñoù, vaø Chuùa chæ ngoù xem toâi.

30:21 You are become cruel to me: with your strong hand you oppose yourself against me.

30:21 Chuùa trôû neân döõ tôïn ñoái vôùi toâi, Laáy naêng löïc tay Chuùa maø röôït ñuoåi toâi.

30:22 You lift me up to the wind; you cause me to ride upon it, and dissolve my substance.

30:22 Chuùa caát toâi leân treân caùnh gioù, Khieán noù ñem toâi ñi, vaø tieâu dieät toâi giöõa traän baõo.

30:23 For I know that you will bring me to death, and to the house appointed for all living.

30:23 Vì toâi bieát raèng Chuùa seõ daãn toâi ñeán choán söï cheát, Laø nôi hoø heïn cuûa caùc ngöôøi soáng.

30:24 Nevertheless he will not stretch out his hand to the grave, though they cry in his destruction.

30:24 Song trong khi ngöôøi naøo bò taøn haïi, hoï haù chaúng giô tay ra sao? Hoaëc ñöông côn tai naïn, hoï haù khoâng caát tieáng keâu la ö?

30:25 Did not I weep for him that was in trouble? was not my soul grieved for the poor?

30:25 Chôù thì toâi khoâng khoùc keû bò thôøi theá khoù khaên sao? Loøng toâi haù chaúng buoàn thaûm vì keû ngheøo khoå sao?

30:26 When I looked for good, then evil came unto me: and when I waited for light, there came darkness.

30:26 Toâi ñôïi chôø phöôùc haïnh, tai hoïa beøn xaûy ñeán; Toâi troâng caäy aùnh saùng, taêm toái laïi tôùi cho.

30:27 My bowels boiled, and rested not: the days of affliction prevented me.

30:27 Loøng toâi traèn troïc khoâng an nghæ; Caùc ngaøy gian nan xoâng aùp vaøo toâi.

30:28 I went mourning without the sun: I stood up, and I cried in the congregation.

30:28 Toâi ñi mình maûy baèm ñen, nhöng chaúng phaûi bò naéng aên; Toâi choåi daäy giöõa hoäi chuùng vaø keâu caàu tieáp cöùu.

30:29 I am a brother to dragons, and a companion to owls.

30:29 Toâi beøn trôû thaønh anh em cuûa choù röøng, Vaø baàu baïn cuûa con ñaø ñieåu.

30:30 My skin is black upon me, and my bones are burned with heat.

30:30 Da toâi thaønh ñen vaø rôi ra khoûi mình, Xöông coát toâi bò noùng chaùy ñi.

30:31 My harp also is turned to mourning, and my organ into the voice of them that weep.

30:31 Vì côù aáy, tieáng ñôøn caàm toâi trôû neân tieáng ai bi, Vaø ñôøn saét toâi chæ ra tieáng thaûm saàu.

 Giop - Job

31:1 I made a covenant with mine eyes; why then should I think upon a maid?

31:1 Toâi ñaõ coù laäp öôùc vôùi maét toâi; Vaäy, laøm sao toâi coøn daùm nhìn ngöôøi nöõ ñoàng trinh?

31:2 For what portion of God is there from above? and what inheritance of the Almighty from on high?

31:2 Vì phaàn do Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ôû treân trôøi, Vaø cô nghieäp do Ñaáng Toaøn naêng ôû nôi cao, laø ñí gì?

31:3 Is not destruction to the wicked? and a strange punishment to the workers of iniquity?

31:3 Haù chaúng phaûi söï tai hoïa cho keû gian aùc, Vaø söï hö haïi cho keû laøm döõ sao?

31:4 Does not he see my ways, and count all my steps?

31:4 Chôù thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng thaáy ñöôøng loái toâi, Vaø ñeám caùc böôùc toâi sao?

31:5 If I have walked with vanity, or if my foot has hasted to deceit;

31:5 Neáu toâi coù aên ôû caùch doái traù, Vaø chôn toâi voäi vaøng theo chöôùc gian giaûo,

31:6 Let me be weighed in an even balance that God may know mine integrity.

31:6 Nguyeän Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caân toâi treân caân thaêng baèng, Thì Ngaøi seõ nhìn bieát söï thanh lieâm cuûa toâi.

31:7 If my step has turned out of the way, and mine heart walked after mine eyes, and if any blot has cleaved to mine hands;

31:7 Neáu chôn toâi trôû böôùc boû con ñöôøng chaùnh ñaùng, Vaø loøng toâi ñi theo con maét toâi, Neáu coù söï oâ ueá chi dính vaøo tay toâi,

31:8 Then let me sow, and let another eat; yea, let my offspring be rooted out.

31:8 Nguyeän toâi gieo, vaø coù keû khaùc gaët haùi, Nguyeän thoå saûn toâi bò nhoå ñi!

31:9 If mine heart have been deceived by a woman, or if I have laid wait at my neighbour's door;

31:9 Neáu loøng toâi bò ngöôøi nöõ quyeán duï, Neáu toâi rình raäp ôû nôi cöûa cuûa laân caän toâi,

31:10 Then let my wife grind unto another, and let others bow down upon her.

31:10 Nguyeän vôï toâi xaây coái cho ngöôøi khaùc, Vaø keû khaùc naèm chung cuøng naøng.

31:11 For this is an heinous crime; yea, it is an iniquity to be punished by the judges.

31:11 Vì ñieàu aáy voán toäi troïng gôùm gheâ, Moät toäi aùc ñaùng bò quan xeùt ñoaùn phaït:

31:12 For it is a fire that consumes to destruction, and would root out all mine increase.

31:12 Toäi aáy laø moät ngoïn löûa thieâu hoùa cho ñeán choán traàm luaân, Taøn haïi caùc cuûa caûi toâi ñeán taän cuøng.

31:13 If I did despise the cause of my manservant or of my maidservant, when they contended with me;

31:13 Neáu toâi coù khinh duyeân côù cuûa toâi trai tôù gaùi toâi, Luùc chuùng noù tranh luaän vôùi toâi,

31:14 What then shall I do when God rises up? and when he visits, what shall I answer him?

31:14 Thì toâi seõ laøm sao khi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi choåi daäy? Khi Ngaøi ñeán thaåm saùt toâi, toâi seõ ñaùp sao?

31:15 Did not he that made me in the womb make him? and did not one fashion us in the womb?

31:15 Ñaáng ñaõ taïo thaønh toâi trong loøng meï toâi, Haù chaúng coù döïng neân chuùng noù sao? Haù chaúng phaûi cuõng moät Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi döïng neân chuùng ta trong loøng meï sao?

31:16 If I have withheld the poor from their desire, or have caused the eyes of the widow to fail;

31:16 Neáu toâi töø choái ñieàu keû ngheøo khoå öôùc ao, Gaây cho maét ngöôøi goùa buïa bò hao moøn,

31:17 Or have eaten my morsel myself alone, and the fatherless has not eaten thereof;

31:17 Neáu toâi coù aên baùnh toâi moät mình, Vaø keû moà coâi chaúng coù ñöôïc aên vôùi;

31:18 (For from my youth he was brought up with me, as with a father, and I have guided her from my mother's womb;)

31:18 Thaät töø luùc toâi coøn treû, noù cuøng lôùn leân vôùi toâi nhö con vôùi cha; Coøn ngöôøi goùa buïa, toâi ñaõ naâng ñôõ töø khi toâi loït loøng meï toâi;

31:19 If I have seen any perish for lack of clothing, or any poor without covering;

31:19 Neáu toâi coù thaáy ngöôøi naøo thaùc vì khoâng quaàn aùo, Vaø keû ngheøo thieáu chaúng coù meàm;

31:20 If his loins have not blessed me, and if he were not warmed with the fleece of my sheep;

31:20 Neáu loøng ngöôøi khoâng chuùc phöôùc cho toâi, Vaø ngöôøi khoâng nhôø loâng chieân toâi maø ñöôïc aám aùp;

31:21 If I have lifted up my hand against the fatherless, when I saw my help in the gate:

31:21 Neáu toâi coù giô tay hieáp keû moà coâi, Bôûi vì toâi thaáy coù keû phuø trôï toâi trong cöûa thaønh;

31:22 Then let mine arm fall from my shoulder blade, and mine arm be broken from the bone.

31:22 Nguyeän cho vai toâi rôùt ra khoûi nôi khaùc, Vaø caùnh tay toâi bò gaãy röùt ra ñi!

31:23 For destruction from God was a terror to me, and by reason of his highness I could not endure.

31:23 Vì söï tai hoïa töø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi giaùng xuoáng laøm toâi kinh khieáp, Vaø tröôùc maët söï oai nghieâm Ngaøi, Toâi naøo laøm chi ñöôïc.

31:24 If I have made gold my hope, or have said to the fine gold, You are my confidence;

31:24 Neáu toâi coù ñeå loøng tin caäy nôi vaøng, Vaø noùi vôùi vaøng roøng raèng: Ngöôi laø söï nöông nhôø cuûa ta;

31:25 If I rejoice because my wealth was great, and because mine hand had got much;

31:25 Neáu toâi vui möøng veà taøi vaät toâi nhieàu, Vaø vì tay toâi ñaõ naém ñöôïc laém cuûa;

31:26 If I beheld the sun when it shined, or the moon walking in brightness;

31:26 Neáu toâi coù thaáy maët trôøi chieáu saùng, Vaø maët traêng moïc leân soi toû,

31:27 And my heart has been secretly enticed, or my mouth has kissed my hand:

31:27 Neáu loøng toâi coù thaàm meâ hoaëc, Vaø mieäng toâi hoân gôûi tay toâi;

31:28 This also were an iniquity to be punished by the judge: for I should have denied the God that is above.

31:28 Ñieàu ñoù cuõng laø moät toäi aùc ñaùng bò quan xeùt phaït; Vì neáu laøm vaäy, toâi ñaõ töø choái Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi treân cao kia.

31:29 If I rejoice at the destruction of him that hated me, or lifted up myself when evil found him:

31:29 Neáu toâi coù vui möøng vì côù taøn haïi keû gheùt toâi, Vaø höùng loøng khi tai vaï giaùng cho noù;

31:30 Neither have I suffered my mouth to sin by wishing a curse to his soul.

31:30 Traùi laïi toâi khoâng cho pheùp mieäng toâi phaïm toäi, Maø laáy söï ruûa saû truø eûo, nguyeän haïi maïng soáng noù;

31:31 If the men of my tabernacle said not, Oh that we had of his flesh! we cannot be satisfied.

31:31 Neáu caùc ngöôøi nhaø toâi chaúng coù noùi: "Ai seõ tìm ñöôïc ngöôøi naøo khoâng ñöôïc aên no neâ thòt suùc vaät ngöôøi?"

31:32 The stranger did not lodge in the street: but I opened my doors to the traveller.

31:32 Ngöôøi laï khoâng coù nguû ñeâm ôû ngoaøi ñöôøng; Toâi môû cöûa cho keû haønh khaùch;

31:33 If I covered my transgressions as Adam, by hiding mine iniquity in my bosom:

31:33 Neáu toâi coù che toäi mình nhö A-ñam, Maø giaáu söï gian aùc mình ôû trong loøng,

31:34 Did I fear a great multitude, or did the contempt of families terrify me, that I kept silence, and went not out of the door?

31:34 Taïi vì toâi kinh haõi chuùng ñoâng, Vaø e sôï khi bò hoï haøng khinh bæ, Ñeán ñoåi ôû yeân laëng, chaúng daùm böôùc ra khoûi cöûa.

31:35 Oh that one would hear me! behold, my desire is, that the Almighty would answer me, and that mine adversary had written a book.

31:35 Oâi! Chôù chi coù moät ngöôøi nghe toâi! Naày laø daáu hieäu toâi kyù, Nguyeän Ñaáng Toaøn naêng ñaùp lôøi toâi; Nguyeän keû cöøu nghòch toâi laøm moät traïng töø!

31:36 Surely I would take it upon my shoulder, and bind it as a crown to me.

31:36 Toâi quaû haún seõ mang traïng töø aáy treân vai mình, Ñoäi noù treân ñaàu toâi nhö moät maõo trieàu thieân.

31:37 I would declare unto him the number of my steps; as a prince would I go near unto him.

31:37 Aét toâi seõ thuaät cho cöøu ñòch bieát soá böôùc toâi, Ñeán tröôùc maët noù nhö moät vua chuùa.

31:38 If my land cry against me, or that the furrows likewise thereof complain;

31:38 Neáu ñaát toâi keâu caùo toâi, Caùc gioøng caøy noù khoùc vôùi nhau;

31:39 If I have eaten the fruits thereof without money, or have caused the owners thereof to lose their life:

31:39 Neáu toâi aên saûn vaät noù maø khoâng traû giaù baïc, Laøm khuaáy khuaát nguyeân chuû noù cho ñeán phaûi cheát maát;

31:40 Let thistles grow instead of wheat, and cockle instead of barley. The words of Job are ended.

31:40 Nguyeän gai goùc moïc thay luùa mieán, Vaø coû luøng theá cho luùa maïch! Ñeán ñaây heát lôøi cuûa Gioùp.

 Giop - Job

32:1 So these three men ceased to answer Job, because he was righteous in his own eyes.

32:1 Baáy giôø, ba ngöôøi aáy thoâi ñaùp lôøi vôùi Gioùp, vì ngöôøi töï thaáy mình laø coâng bình.

32:2 Then was kindled the wrath of Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite, of the kindred of Ram: against Job was his wrath kindled, because he justified himself rather than God.

32:2 EÂ-li-hu, con trai cuûa Ba-ra-keâ-eân, ngöôøi Bu-xi, veà doøng doõi Ram, laáy laøm töùc giaän Gioùp, bôûi vì ngöôøi töï xöng mình laø coâng bình hôn laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

32:3 Also against his three friends was his wrath kindled, because they had found no answer, and yet had condemned Job.

32:3 EÂ-li-hu cuõng noåi giaän ba baïn cuûa Gioùp, bôûi vì hoï chaúng tìm ñöôïc leõ ñaùp laïi, maø laïi ñònh toäi cho Gioùp.

32:4 Now Elihu had waited till Job had spoken, because they were elder than he.

32:4 Vaû, EÂ-li-hu coù ñôïi Gioùp luaän xong ñaëng noùi vôùi Gioùp, bôûi vì caùc ngöôøi ñoù ñeàu lôùn tuoåi hôn mình.

32:5 When Elihu saw that there was no answer in the mouth of these three men, then his wrath was kindled.

32:5 Vaäy, khi EÂ-li-hu thaáy chaúng coøn caâu traû lôøi chi nôi mieäng cuûa ba ngöôøi kia nöõa, côn thaïnh noä ngöôøi beøn phöøng leân.

32:6 And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and all of you are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you mine opinion.

32:6 EÂ-li-hu, con trai Ba-ra-keâ-eân, ngöôøi Bu-xi, beøn caát tieáng leân noùi raèng: Toâi ñang treû, coøn caùc anh laø oâng giaø; Vì vaäy, toâi nhaùt, khoâng daùm toû cho caùc anh bieát yù töôûng toâi.

32:7 I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

32:7 Toâi nghó raèng: Ai ñaõ soáng laâu ngaøy seõ noùi, Soá naêm cao seõ daïy söï khoân ngoan.

32:8 But there is a spirit in man: and the inspiration of the Almighty gives them understanding.

32:8 Nhöng coù thaàn linh ôû trong loaøi ngöôøi, Vaø hôi thôû cuûa Ñaáng Toaøn naêng cho chuùng söï khoân saùng.

32:9 Great men are not always wise: neither do the aged understand judgment.

32:9 Ngöôøi toân troïng chaúng phaûi khoân ngoan, Böïc laõo thaønh chaúng thoâng hieåu söï coâng bình.

32:10 Therefore I said, Hearken to me; I also will show mine opinion.

32:10 Bôûi côù aáy toâi noùi raèng: Haõy nghe toâi; Phaàn toâi cuõng seõ toû ra yù töôûng cuûa toâi.

32:11 Behold, I waited for your words; I gave ear to your reasons, whilst all of you searched out what to say.

32:11 Kìa, toâi ñaõ chôø ñôïi nghe caùc lôøi cuûa phoâ anh, Laéng tai nghe nhöõng lôøi luaän bieän caùc anh, Cho ñeán khi caùc anh ñaõ tra xeùt ñeàu cho xong.

32:12 Yea, I attended unto you, and, behold, there was none of you that convinced Job, or that answered his words:

32:12 Thaät, toâi coù chaêm chæ nghe caùc anh. Thaáy chaúng moät ai trong caùc anh thaéng hôn Gioùp, Hoaëc lôøi cuûa ngöôøi ñöôïc.

32:13 Lest all of you should say, We have found out wisdom: God thrusts him down, not man.

32:13 Chôù noùi raèng: Chuùng ta tìm ñöôïc khoân ngoan; Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thaéng hôn ngöôøi ñöôïc, loaøi ngöôøi chaúng laøm ñaëng.

32:14 Now he has not directed his words against me: neither will I answer him with your speeches.

32:14 Vaû, Gioùp khoâng coù tranh luaän vôùi toâi, Vaäy, toâi seõ chaúng duøng lôøi caùc anh maø ñaùp laïi ngöôøi.

32:15 They were amazed, they answered no more: they left off speaking.

32:15 Hoï söûng soát khoâng ñaùp chi nöõa; Ñaõ caïn lôøi heát tieáng roài.

32:16 When I had waited, (for they spoke not, but stood still, and answered no more;)

32:16 Toâi haù phaûi chôø ñôïi, vì hoï heát noùi, Khoâng coøn chi traû lôøi gì nöõa sao?

32:17 I said, I will answer also my part, I also will show mine opinion.

32:17 Theo phieân toâi cuõng seõ ñaùp lôøi chôù; Toâi cuõng toû ra yù töôûng mình chôù;

32:18 For I am full of matter, the spirit within me constrains me.

32:18 Vì toâi ñaõ ñaày daãy lôøi noùi, Trí trong loøng toâi caûm giuïc toâi noùi.

32:19 Behold, my belly is as wine which has no vent; it is ready to burst like new bottles.

32:19 Naày, loøng toâi nhö röôïu chöa khui, Noù gaàn nöùt ra nhö baàu röôïu môùi.

32:20 I will speak, that I may be refreshed: I will open my lips and answer.

32:20 Toâi seõ noùi vaø ñöôïc nheï nhaøng; Toâi seõ môû moâi mieäng ra vaø ñaùp lôøi.

32:21 Let me not, I pray you, accept any man's person, neither let me give flattering titles unto man.

32:21 Toâi seõ chaúng tö vò ai, Khoâng dua nònh baát kyø ngöôøi naøo.

32:22 For I know not to give flattering titles; in so doing my maker would soon take me away.

32:22 Vì toâi chaúng bieát dua nònh; Neáu dua nònh, Ñaáng Taïo hoùa toâi haún tröø dieät toâi töùc thì.

 Giop - Job

33:1 Wherefore, Job, I pray you, hear my speeches, and hearken to all my words.

33:1 Nhöng vaäy, hôõi Gioùp, xin haõy nghe caùc dieãn thuyeát toâi. Khaù laéng tai nghe caùc lôøi noùi toâi.

33:2 Behold, now I have opened my mouth, my tongue has spoken in my mouth.

33:2 Kìa, toâi ñaõ môû mieäng ra, Löôõi toâi noùi trong hoïng toâi.

33:3 My words shall be of the uprightness of my heart: and my lips shall utter knowledge clearly.

33:3 Caùc lôøi toâi noùi seõ chieáu theo söï chaùnh tröïc cuûa loøng toâi; Ñieàu toâi bieát löôõi toâi seõ noùi caùch thaønh thöïc.

33:4 The spirit of God has made me, and the breath of the Almighty has given me life.

33:4 Thaàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ saùng taïo toâi, Hôi thôû cuûa Ñaáng Toaøn naêng ban cho toâi söï soáng.

33:5 If you can answer me, set your words in order before me, stand up.

33:5 Neáu ñaùp ñöôïc, haõy ñaùp laïi cho toâi, Haõy ñöùng daäy, baøy ra lôøi cuûa oâng taïi tröôùc maët toâi!

33:6 Behold, I am according to your wish in God's position: I also am formed out of the clay.

33:6 Haõy xem, ñoái cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi vôùi oâng coù khaùc chi, Toâi cuõng bôûi ñaát buøn maø ra.

33:7 Behold, my terror shall not make you afraid, neither shall my hand be heavy upon you.

33:7 Söï oai nghi toâi naøo seõ laøm cho oâng kinh khieáp, Vaø quyeàn theá toâi seõ chaúng ñeø eùp oâng.

33:8 Surely you have spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of your words, saying,

33:8 Quaû oâng coù noùi ñeán tai toâi, Toâi ñaõ nghe tieáng lôøi cuûa oâng noùi raèng:

33:9 I am clean without transgression, I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

33:9 Toâi trong saïch, khoâng coù vi phaïm; Toâi voâ toäi, vaø trong loøng toâi chaúng coù gian aùc gì.

33:10 Behold, he finds occasions against me, he counts me for his enemy,

33:10 Daàu vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi tìm dòp ñoái ñòch toâi, Caàm toâi nhö keû thuø nghòch Ngaøi;

33:11 He puts my feet in the stocks, he marks all my paths.

33:11 Ngaøi rieát chôn toâi vaøo cuøm, Vaø coi chöøng ñöôøng loái toâi.

33:12 Behold, in this you are not just: I will answer you, that God is greater than man.

33:12 Naày, toâi muoán ñaùp vôùi oâng raèng trong caùc lôøi aáy oâng noùi voâ lyù; Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø lôùn hôn loaøi ngöôøi.

33:13 Why do you strive against him? for he gives not account of any of his matters.

33:13 Nhôn sao oâng tranh luaän vôùi Ngaøi? Ngaøi khoâng baøy giaõi ñieàu naøo Ngaøi laøm.

33:14 For God speaks once, yea twice, yet man perceives it not.

33:14 Vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn moät laàn, Hoaëc hai laàn; nhöng ngöôøi ta khoâng ñeå yù ñeán.

33:15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls upon men, in slumberings upon the bed;

33:15 Ngaøi phaùn trong chieâm bao, trong dò töôïng ban ñeâm, Luùc ngöôøi ta nguû meâ, Naèm nguû treân giöôøng mình;

33:16 Then he opens the ears of men, and seals their instruction,

33:16 Baáy giôø Ngaøi môû loã tai loaøi ngöôøi, Nieâm phong lôøi giaùo huaán maø Ngaøi daïy cho hoï,

33:17 That he may withdraw man from his purpose, and hide pride from man.

33:17 Haàu cho chôû loaøi nguôøi khoûi ñieàu hoï toan laøm, Vaø giaáu hoï taùnh kieâu ngaïo,

33:18 He keeps back his soul from the pit, and his life from perishing by the sword.

33:18 Cöùu linh hoàn hoï khoûi caùi huyeät, Vaø maïng soáng khoûi bò göôm gieát,

33:19 He is chastened also with pain upon his bed, and the multitude of his bones with strong pain:

33:19 Loaøi ngöôøi naèm treân giöôøng mình bò ñau ñôùn söûa phaït, Vaø xöông coát ngöôøi haøng tranh chaïm nhau maõi maõi,

33:20 So that his life detests bread, and his soul dainty food.

33:20 Mieäng ngöôøi beøn laáy laøm gôùm ghieác vaät thöïc, Vaø linh hoàn ngöôøi gheùt nhöõng ñoà aên mó vò.

33:21 His flesh is consumed away, that it cannot be seen; and his bones that were not seen stick out.

33:21 Thòt ngöôøi tieâu hao khoâng coøn thaáy nöõa, Vaø xöông ngöôøi, maø tröôùc chaúng thaáy ñöôïc, beøn bò loä ra.

33:22 Yea, his soul draws near unto the grave, and his life to the destroyers.

33:22 Linh hoàn ngöôøi ñeán gaàn caùi haàm, Vaø söï soáng ngöôøi xích laïi keû gieát.

33:23 If there be a messenger with him, an interpreter, one among a thousand, to show unto man his uprightness:

33:23 Neáu trong moät ngaøn thieân söù, coù moät thieân söù laøm keû truyeàn-giaûi cho ngöôøi, Ñeå chæ daïy ngöôøi bieát ñieàu ngay thaúng cho ngöôøi,

33:24 Then he is gracious unto him, and says, Deliver him from going down to the pit: I have found a ransom.

33:24 Aét Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm ôn cho ngöôøi vaø phaùn raèng: "Haõy giaûi cöùu noù khoûi bò sa xuoáng caùi haàm; Ta ñaõ tìm ñaëng giaù chuoäc roài"

33:25 His flesh shall be fresher than a child's: he shall return to the days of his youth:

33:25 Ngöôøi seõ ñöôïc thaúng da maùt thòt nhö buoåi thô aáu; Ngöôøi trôû laïi ngaøy ñang thì.

33:26 He shall pray unto God, and he will be favourable unto him: and he shall see his face with joy: for he will render unto man his righteousness.

33:26 Ngöôøi caàu nguyeän cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi beøn ñoaùi thöông ngöôøi, Khieán ngöôøi vui möøng xem thaáy maët Ngaøi, Vaø Ngaøi traû laïi söï coâng bình cho ngöôøi.

33:27 He looks upon men, and if any say, I have sinned, and perverted that which was right, and it profited me not;

33:27 Ñoaïn, ngöôøi ñoù seõ haùt tröôùc maët loaøi ngöôøi, maø raèng: "Toâi ñaõ phaïm toäi, laøm hö hoaïi söï ngay thaúng, Song chaúng coù ích gì cho toâi.

33:28 He will deliver his soul from going into the pit, and his life shall see the light.

33:28 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù giaûi cöùu linh hoàn toâi khoûi sa xuoáng haàm, Vaø söï soáng toâi seõ thaáy aùnh saùng."

33:29 Lo, all these things works God oftentimes with man,

33:29 Kìa, caùc vieäc aáy Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laøm cho loaøi ngöôøi; Ñeán hai laàn, hoaëc ba laàn,

33:30 To bring back his soul from the pit, to be enlightened with the light of the living.

33:30 Ñaëng khieán linh hoàn ngöôøi trôû laïi khoûi caùi haàm, Haàu cho ngöôøi ñöôïc aùnh saùng keû soáng chieáu vaøo cho.

33:31 Mark well, O Job, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I will speak.

33:31 Hôõi Gioùp, haõy chaêm chæ nghe toâi; Khaù laøm thinh, thì toâi seõ noùi.

33:32 If you have anything to say, answer me: speak, for I desire to justify you.

33:32 Neáu oâng coù ñieàu gì muoán noùi, haõy ñaùp laïi toâi; Khaù noùi, vì toâi muoán xöng oâng laø coâng bình.

33:33 If not, hearken unto me: hold your peace, and I shall teach you wisdom.

33:33 Baèng chaúng, haõy nghe toâi; Haõy laøm thinh, thì toâi seõ daïy cho oâng söï khoân ngoan.

 Giop - Job

34:1 Furthermore Elihu answered and said,

34:1 EÂ-li-hu laïi caát tieáng maø noùi raèng:

34:2 Hear my words, O all of you wise men; and give ear unto me, all of you that have knowledge.

34:2 Hôõi caùc ngöôøi khoân ngoan, haõy nghe nhöõng lôøi noùi toâi; ÔÙ keû thoâng saùng, haõy laéng tai nghe toâi;

34:3 For the ear tries words, as the mouth tastes food.

34:3 Vì loã tai thöû nhöõng lôøi noùi, Nhö oå gaø neám laáy ñoà aên,

34:4 Let us choose to us judgment: let us know among ourselves what is good.

34:4 Chuùng ta haõy choïn cho mình ñieàu phaûi, Chung nhau nhìn bieát vieäc toát laønh.

34:5 For Job has said, I am righteous: and God has taken away my judgment.

34:5 Vì Gioùp coù noùi raèng: "Toâi voán laø coâng bình, Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ caát söï lyù ñoaùn toâi.

34:6 Should I lie against my right? my wound is incurable without transgression.

34:6 Tuy toâi ngay thaúng, ngöôøi ta cho toâi laø keû noùi doái; Daãu toâi khoâng phaïm toäi, thöông tích toâi khoâng chöõa laønh ñöôïc."

34:7 What man is like Job, who drinks up scorning like water?

34:7 Ai laø ngöôøi gioáng nhö Gioùp? Ngöôøi uoáng lôøi nhaïo baùng nhö theå nöôùc;

34:8 Which goes in company with the workers of iniquity, and walks with wicked men.

34:8 Ngöôøi keát baïn vôùi keû laøm hung nghieät, Vaø ñoàng ñi vôùi ngöôøi gian aùc?

34:9 For he has said, It profits a man nothing that he should delight himself with God.

34:9 Vì ngöôøi coù noùi raèng: "Chaúng ích lôïi chi cho loaøi ngöôøi Tìm kieám ñieàu vui thích mình nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi."

34:10 Therefore hearken unto me all of you men of understanding: far be it from God, that he should do wickedness; and from the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.

34:10 Vì vaäy, hôõi ngöôøi thoâng saùng, haõy nghe toâi: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng heà haønh aùc, Ñaáng Toaøn naêng khoâng bao giôø laøm hung nghieät.

34:11 For the work of a man shall he render unto him, and cause every man to find according to his ways.

34:11 Ngaøi baùo öùng loaøi ngöôøi tuøy coâng vieäc mình laøm, Khieán moãi ngöôøi tìm ñöôïc laïi chieáu theo taùnh haïnh mình.

34:12 Yea, surely God will not do wickedly, neither will the Almighty pervert judgment.

34:12 Quaû thaät Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khoâng laøm aùc, Ñaáng Toaøn naêng chaúng traùi pheùp coâng bình.

34:13 Who has given him a charge over the earth? or who has disposed the whole world?

34:13 Ai giao cho Ngaøi traùch nhaäm coi soùc traùi ñaát? Ai ñaët Ngaøi cai trò toaøn theá gian?

34:14 If he set his heart upon man, if he gather unto himself his spirit and his breath;

34:14 Neáu Ngaøi chæ lo töôûng ñeán chính mình Ngaøi, Thaâu laïi veà mình thaàn linh vaø hôi thôû cuûa Ngaøi,

34:15 All flesh shall perish together, and man shall return unto dust.

34:15 Thì caùc loaøi xaùc thòt chaéc cheát chung nhau heát, Vaø loaøi ngöôøi trôû vaøo buïi ñaát.

34:16 If now you have understanding, hear this: hearken to the voice of my words.

34:16 Neáu oâng coù söï thoâng saùng, haõy nghe ñieàu naày; Khaù laéng tai nghe tieáng lôøi noùi cuûa toâi.

34:17 Shall even he that hates right govern? and will you condemn him that is most just?

34:17 Chôù thì ngöôøi naøo gheùt söï coâng bình seõ ñöôïc cai trò sao? Oâng haù daùm leân aùn cho Ñaáng coâng bình cao caû ö?

34:18 Is it fit to say to a king, You are wicked? and to princes, All of you are ungodly?

34:18 Haù coù neân noùi vôùi vua raèng: "Ñoà xaáu xa naø?" Hay laø noùi vôùi ngöôøi töôùc vò raèng: "Keû aùc nghieäp maày?"

34:19 How much less to him that accepts not the persons of princes, nor regards the rich more than the poor? for they all are the work of his hands.

34:19 Phöông chi Ñaáng chaúng tö vò nhöõng vöông töû, Chaúng xem keû giaøu troïng hôn keû ngheøo; Bôûi chuùng heát thaûy laø coâng vieäc cuûa tay Ngaøi.

34:20 In a moment shall they die, and the people shall be troubled at midnight, and pass away: and the mighty shall be taken away without hand.

34:20 Trong giaây phuùt, giöõa ban ñeâm, chuùng ñeàu cheát; Baù taùnh xieâu toù vaø qua maát ñi, Caùc keû cöôøng quyeàn bò caát ñi, khoâng phaûi bôûi tay loaøi ngöôøi.

34:21 For his eyes are upon the ways of man, and he sees all his activities.

34:21 Vì maét Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi xem xeùt ñöôøng loái loaøi ngöôøi, Ngaøi nom caùc böôùc hoï.

34:22 There is no darkness, nor shadow of death, where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.

34:22 Chaúng coù toái taêm muø mòt naøo Cho keû laøm aùc aån nuùp mình ñöôïc.

34:23 For he will not lay upon man more than right; that he should enter into judgment with God.

34:23 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn xeùt loaøi ngöôøi, Thì chaúng caàn khieán hoï ñeán tröôùc maët Ngaøi hai laàn ñaëng tra xeùt.

34:24 He shall break in pieces mighty men without number, and set others in their position.

34:24 Ngaøi huûy phaù keû cöôøng quyeàn khoâng caàn tra soaùt, Roài laäp keû khaùc theá vaøo cho;

34:25 Therefore he knows their works, and he overturns them in the night, so that they are destroyed.

34:25 Bôûi vì Chuùa bieát caùc coâng vieäc chuùng, Ñaùnh ñoå chuùng ban ñeâm, vaø chuùng bò dieät ñi.

34:26 He strikes them as wicked men in the open sight of others;

34:26 Chuùa haønh haïi hoï nhö ngöôøi aùc, Coù keû khaùc xem thaáy;

34:27 Because they turned back from him, and would not consider any of his ways:

34:27 Bôûi vì chuùng coù xaây boû theo Chuùa, Khoâng keå ñeán caùc ñöôøng loái Ngaøi.

34:28 So that they cause the cry of the poor to come unto him, and he hears the cry of the afflicted.

34:28 Chuùng laøm cho tieáng keû ngheøo thaáu ñeán Chuùa, Vaø Chuùa nghe tieáng keâu la cuûa keû bò gian truaân.

34:29 When he gives quietness, who then can make trouble? and when he hides his face, who then can behold him? whether it be done against a nation, or against a man only:

34:29 Khi Ngaøi ban cho bình an, ai seõ laøm cho roái loaïn? Khi Ngaøi aån maét mình, ai coù theå thaáy Ngaøi? Ngaøi laøm nhö vaäy hoaëc cho daân toäc naøo, hoaëc cho ngöôøi naøo,

34:30 That the hypocrite reign not, lest the people be ensnared.

34:30 Haàu ngaên trôû keû gian aùc cai trò, Vaø khoâng ai gaøi baãy cho daân söï.

34:31 Surely it is meet to be said unto God, I have borne chastisement, I will not offend any more:

34:31 Vì coù ngöôøi naøo bao giôø noùi vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: "Toâi ñaõ mang chòu söûa phaït toâi, toâi seõ khoâng laøm aùc nöõa;

34:32 That which I see not teach you me: if I have done iniquity, I will do no more.

34:32 Ñieàu chi toâi chaúng thaáy, xin Chuùa chæ daïy cho toâi; Neáu toâi coù laøm aùc, toâi seõ chaúng laøm laïi nöõa?

34:33 Should it be according to your mind? he will recompense it, whether you refuse, or whether you choose; and not I: therefore speak what you know.

34:33 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi haù cöù theo yù töôûng oâng maø baùo öùng oâng sao? Vì oâng coù boû söï baùo öùng cuûa Chuùa, neân oâng phaûi choïn löïa laáy, chôù chaúng phaûi toâi; Vaäy neân ñieàu oâng bieát, haõy noùi ñi.

34:34 Let men of understanding tell me, and let a wise man hearken unto me.

34:34 Nhöõng ngöôøi thoâng saùng, vaø moãi ngöôøi khoân ngoan ñöông nghe toâi, Seõ noùi vôùi toâi raèng:

34:35 Job has spoken without knowledge, and his words were without wisdom.

34:35 "Gioùp noùi caùch khoâng hieåu bieát, Vaø lôøi cuûa ngöôøi thieáu söï thoâng saùng."

34:36 My desire is that Job may be tried unto the end because of his answers for wicked men.

34:36 Toâi nguyeän cho Gioùp bò thöû thaùch ñeán cuøng, Bôûi vì ngöôøi coù ñaùp lôøi nhö keû aùc;

34:37 For he adds rebellion unto his sin, he claps his hands among us, and multiplies his words against God.

34:37 Ngöôøi coù theâm söï phaûn nghòch vaøo toäi loãi mình, Voã tay mình taïi giöõa chuùng toâi, Vaø caøng theâm lôøi noùi nghòch Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

 Giop - Job

35:1 Elihu spoke moreover, and said,

35:1 EÂ-li-hu laïi noùi raèng:

35:2 Think you this to be right, that you said, My righteousness is more than God's?

35:2 Oâng ñaõ noùi raèng: Toâi voán coâng bình hôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; Laïi noùi: Toâi seõ ñaëng lôøi gì? Nhöôïc baèng chaúng phaïm toâi,

35:3 For you said, What advantage will it be unto you? and, What profit shall I have, if I be cleansed from my sin?

35:3 Toâi haù seõ ñöôïc ích hôn chaêng? Chôù thì oâng töôûng lôøi aáy coù lyù sao?

35:4 I will answer you, and your companions with you.

35:4 Toâi seõ ñaùp laïi oâng, Vaø caùc baïn höõu cuûa oâng nöõa.

35:5 Look unto the heavens, and see; and behold the clouds which are higher than you.

35:5 Haõy ngöôùc maét leân xem caùc töøng trôøi; Haõy coi aùng maây, noù cao hôn oâng.

35:6 If you sin, what do you against him? or if your transgressions be multiplied, what do you unto him?

35:6 Neáu oâng ñaõ phaïm toâi, coù haïi chi cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaêng? Neáu caùc söï vi phaïm oâng theâm nhieàu, coù can gì vôùi Ngaøi?

35:7 If you be righteous, what give you him? or what receives he of yours hand?

35:7 Neáu oâng coâng bình, oâng seõ ban gì cho Ngaøi? Ngaøi seõ laõnh ñieàu gì bôûi tay cuûa oâng?

35:8 Your wickedness may hurt a man as you are; and your righteousness may profit the son of man.

35:8 Söï gian aùc cuûa oâng coù theå haïi moät ngöôøi ñoàng loaïi oâng, Vaø söï coâng bình oâng coù theå laøm ích cho moät con caùi loaøi ngöôøi.

35:9 By reason of the multitude of oppressions they make the oppressed to cry: they cry out by reason of the arm of the mighty.

35:9 Taïi vì nhieàu söï haø hieáp, neân ngöôøi ta keâu oan, Bôûi tay keû coù cöôøng quyeàn aùp cheá, neân hoï keâu cöùu.

35:10 But none says, Where is God my maker, who gives songs in the night;

35:11 Who teaches us more than the beasts of the earth, and makes us wiser than the fowls of heaven?

35:11 daïy doã chuùng toâi ñöôïc thoâng saùng hôn caùc loaøi thuù treân ñaát, Vaø laøm cho trôû neân khoân ngoan hôn caùc loaøi chim trôøi.

35:12 There they cry, but none gives answer, because of the pride of evil men.

35:12 Ngöôøi ta keâu la, song Ngaøi khoâng ñaùp lôøi, Vì côù söï kieâu ngaïo cuûa keû gian aùc.

35:13 Surely God will not hear vanity, neither will the Almighty regard it.

35:13 Quaû thaät lôøi caàu nguyeän hö giaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaúng duû nghe, Ñaáng Toaøn naêng chaúng theøm ñoaùi ñeán.

35:14 Although you says you shall not see him, yet judgment is before him; therefore trust you in him.

35:14 Huoáng chi khi oâng noùi raèng khoâng thaáy Ngaøi, Söï caùo tuïng ñaõ ñem ñeán tröôùc maët Ngaøi, vaø oâng ñôïi Ngaøi xeùt ñoaùn!

35:15 But now, because it is not so, he has visited in his anger; yet he knows it not in great extremity:

35:15 Baây giôø, vì côn thaïnh noä Ngaøi chöa giaùng phaït, Vaø vì Ngaøi khoâng keå ñeán söï kieâu haõnh cho laém,

35:16 Therefore does Job open his mouth in vain; he multiplies words without knowledge.

35:16 Neân Gioùp môû mieäng ra luaân ñieàu hö khoâng, Vaø noùi theâm nhieàu lôøi voâ tri.

 Giop - Job

36:1 Elihu also proceeded, and said,

36:1 EÂ-li-hu noùi tieáp raèng:

36:2 Suffer me a little, and I will show you that I have yet to speak on God's behalf.

36:2 Xin haõy nhòn toâi moät chuùt, toâi seõ chæ cho oâng; Vì toâi coøn nhöõng lôøi binh vöïc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

36:3 I will fetch my knowledge from far, and will ascribe righteousness to my Maker.

36:3 Toâi seõ ñem ñeán töø xa ñieàu toâi hieåu bieát, Vaø xöng toû söï coâng bình cuûa Ñaáng Taïo hoùa toâi.

36:4 For truly my words shall not be false: he that is perfect in knowledge is with you.

36:4 Quaû haún caùc lôøi luaän toâi chaúng phaûi giaû doái; Ñaáng voán troïn veïn veà tri thöùc ñöông ôû cuøng oâng.

36:5 Behold, God is mighty, and despises not any: he is mighty in strength and wisdom.

36:5 Kìa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù quyeàn naêng, khoâng khinh bæ ai; Trí hueä Ngaøi raát roäng lôùn.

36:6 He perserves not the life of the wicked: but gives right to the poor.

36:6 Ngaøi chaúng baûo toàn maïng soáng cuûa keû gian aùc, Nhöng xöû ñoaùn coâng bình cho keû khoå naïn.

36:7 He withdraws not his eyes from the righteous: but with kings are they on the throne; yea, he does establish them for ever, and they are exalted.

36:7 Ngaøi chaúng xaây maët khoûi ngöôøi coâng bình; Song Ngaøi khieán hoï ñoàng ngoài cuøng caùc vua treân ngoâi maõi maõi, Vaø hoï ñöôïc cao troïng.

36:8 And if they be bound in fetters, and be held in cords of affliction;

36:8 Neáu hoï phaûi mang xieàng xích, Vaø bò daây gian truaân vaán vöôùng,

36:9 Then he shows them their work, and their transgressions that they have exceeded.

36:9 Thì Ngaøi chæ toû cho hoï coâng vieäc mình ñaõ laøm, Caùc toäi loãi vaø taùnh haïnh kieâu ngaïo cuûa hoï.

36:10 He opens also their ear to discipline, and commands that they return from iniquity.

36:10 Ngaøi cuõng môû loã tai cuûa chuùng cho nghe lôøi söûa daïy, Khuyeân hoï trôû laïi boû ñieàu gian aùc.

36:11 If they obey and serve him, they shall spend their days in prosperity, and their years in pleasures.

36:11 Neáu chuùng vaâng nghe vaø phuïc söï Ngaøi, Thì caùc ngaøy chuùng seõ ñöôïc may maén, Vaø nhöõng naêm chuùng ñöôïc vui söôùng.

36:12 But if they obey not, they shall perish by the sword, and they shall die without knowledge.

36:12 Nhöng neáu hoï khoâng khöùng nghe theo, aét seõ bò göôm gieát maát, Vaø cheát khoâng hieåu bieát gì.

36:13 But the hypocrites in heart heap up wrath: they cry not when he binds them.

36:13 Loøng giaû hình tích chöùa söï thaïnh noä; Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi baét xieàng chuùng, chuùng chaúng keâu cöùu.

36:14 They die in youth, and their life is among the unclean.

36:14 Chuùng cheát ñöông buoåi thanh xuaân; Ñôøi chuùng bò hö maát trong boïn gian daâm.

36:15 He delivers the poor in his affliction, and opens their ears in oppression.

36:15 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi duøng söï hoaïn naïn maø cöùu keû bò hoaïn naïn, Vaø nhôø söï haø hieáp maø môû loã tai cuûa ngöôøi.

36:16 Even so would he have removed you out of the strait into a broad place, where there is no strictness; and that which should be set on your table should be full of fatness.

36:16 Ngaøi cuõng chaéc ñaõ muoán duï oâng khoûi hoaïn naïn, Ñaët oâng nôi khoaûng khoaùt, chaúng coøn söï cöïc loøng; Coøn caùc moùn aên doïn nôi baøn oâng, taát ñeàu ñöôïc ñaày môõ beùo.

36:17 But you have fulfilled the judgment of the wicked: judgment and justice take hold on you.

36:17 Nhöng oâng ñaày daãy söï nghò luaän cuûa keû aùc; Söï xeùt ñoaùn vaø söï hình phaït chaéc seõ haõm baét oâng.

36:18 Because there is wrath, beware lest he take you away with his stroke: then a great ransom cannot deliver you.

36:18 Chôù ñeå côn giaän giuïc oâng choáng cöï cuøng söï söûa phaït; Ñöøng laàm laïc vì côù giaù boäi thöôøng lôùn quaù.

36:19 Will he esteem your riches? no, not gold, nor all the forces of strength.

36:19 Chôù thì söï giaøu coù oâng vaø caùc theá löïc cuûa oâng, Coù theå cöùu oâng khoûi söï hoaïn naïn sao?

36:20 Desire not the night, when people are cut off in their place.

36:20 Chôù öôùc ao ñeâm toái, Laø luùc daân toäc bò caát ñi khoûi choã mình.

36:21 Take heed, regard not iniquity: for this have you chosen rather than affliction.

36:21 Khaù giöõ laáy mình, chôù xaây veà toäi aùc; Vì aáy laø ñieàu oâng öa choïn hôn söï hoaïn naïn.

36:22 Behold, God exalts by his power: who teaches like him?

36:22 Kìa, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi duøng quyeàn naêng maø laøm vieäc caùch cao caû, Coù giaùo sö naøo gioáng nhö Ngaøi chaêng?

36:23 Who has commanded with authority him his way? or who can say, You have wrought iniquity?

36:23 Ai coù chæ daïy cho Ngaøi bieát con ñöôøng cuûa Ngaøi? Vaø ai noùi raèng: Chuùa coù laøm quaáy?

36:24 Remember that you magnify his work, which men behold.

36:24 Haõy nhôù ngôïi khen caùc coâng vieäc Chuùa, Maø loaøi ngöôøi thöôøng coù ca tuïng.

36:25 Every man may see it; man may behold it far off.

36:25 Moïi nguôøi ñeàu ñaõ ngoaïn xem coâng vieäc aáy, Vaø loaøi ngöôøi töø xa nhìn thaáy noù.

36:26 Behold, God is great, and we know him not, neither can the number of his years be searched out.

36:26 Phaûi, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi laø cöïc ñaïi, chuùng ta khoâng bieát ñöôïc Ngaøi; Soá naêm cuûa Ngaøi thoï khoâng ai keå xieát ñöôïc.

36:27 For he makes small the drops of water: they pour down rain according to the vapour thereof:

36:27 Vì Ngaøi thaâu haáp caùc gioït nöôùc: Roài töø sa muø gioït nöôùc aáy beøn hoùa ra möa,

36:28 Which the clouds do drop and distil upon man abundantly.

36:28 Ñaùm maây ñoå möa aáy ra, Noù töø gioït sa xuoáng raát nhieàu treân loaøi ngöôøi.

36:29 Also can any understand the spreadings of the clouds, or the noise of his tabernacle?

36:29 ai coù theå hieåu ñöôïc caùch maây giaêng ra, Vaø tieáng loâi ñình cuûa nhaø traïi Ngaøi?

36:30 Behold, he spreads his light upon it, and covers the bottom of the sea.

36:30 Kìa, Chuùa buûa aùnh saùng ra chung quanh Ngaøi, Vaø che laáp ñaùy bieån.

36:31 For by them judges he the people; he gives food in abundance.

36:31 Vì nhôø nhöõng ñieàu aáy Ngaøi xeùt ñoaùn caùc daân toäc; Ngaøi ban cho löông thöïc nhieàu.

36:32 With clouds he covers the light; and commands it not to shine by the cloud that comes between.

36:32 Ngaøi giaáu saám seùt trong tay Ngaøi, Vaø truyeàn noù phaûi ñaùnh nôi naøo.

36:33 The noise thereof shows concerning it, the cattle also concerning the vapour.

36:33 Tieáng saám seùt baùo caùo vieäc Ngaøi, Vaø chính suùc vaät cuõng ñoaùn ñieàm doâng möa gaàn ñeán.

 Giop - Job

37:1 At this also my heart trembles, and is moved out of his place.

37:1 Phaûi, traùi tim toâi run sôï vì söï ñoù, Noù nhaûy ñoäng dôøi khoûi choã noù.

37:2 Hear attentively the noise of his voice, and the sound that goes out of his mouth.

37:2 Khaù nghe, khaù nghe gioïng vang daày cuûa tieáng Ngaøi, Vaø tieáng aàm aàm ra khoûi mieäng Ngaøi!

37:3 He directs it under the whole heaven, and his lightning unto the ends of the earth.

37:3 Ngaøi khieán noù doäi döôùi caùc töøng trôøi, Vaø chôùp nhoaùng Ngaøi chieáu ñeán cuøng traùi ñaát.

37:4 After it a voice roars: he thunders with the voice of his excellency; and he will not stay them when his voice is heard.

37:4 Keá lieàn coù tieáng aàm aàm, Ngaøi phaùt tieáng oai nghi vaø saám reàn ra, Vaø khi noåi tieáng Ngaøi leân, thì khoâng caàm giöõ chôùp nhoaùng laïi.

37:5 God thunders marvellously with his voice; great things does he, which we cannot comprehend.

37:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùt tieáng vaø saám reàn ra laï kyø; Ngaøi laø nhöõng coâng vieäc lôùn lao maø chuùng ta hieåu khoâng noåi?

37:6 For he says to the snow, Be you on the earth; likewise to the small rain, and to the great rain of his strength.

37:6 Vì Ngaøi phaùn vôùi tuyeát raèng: Haõy sa xuoáng ñaát! Vaø cuõng phaùn vaäy cho traän möa maây vaø möa lôùn.

37:7 He seals up the hand of every man; that all men may know his work.

37:7 Ngaøi nieâm phong tay cuûa moïi ngöôøi, Ñeå moïi ngöôøi Ngaøi ñaõ döïng neân bieát ñöôïc coâng vieäc cuûa Ngaøi.

37:8 Then the beasts go into dens, and remain in their places.

37:8 Khi aáy caùc thuù vaät röøng ruùt trong hang noù, Vaø ôû trong haàm cuûa chuùng noù.

37:9 Out of the south comes the whirlwind: and cold out of the north.

37:9 Töø caùc laàu caùc phöông nam baõo tuoân tôùi, Vaø gioù baéc daãn laïnh leõo ñeán.

37:10 By the breath of God frost is given: and the breadth of the waters is straitened.

37:10 Nöôùc ñaù thaønh ra bôûi hôi thôû cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; Beà roäng cuûa nöôùc ñoâng ñaëc laïi.

37:11 Also by watering he wearies the thick cloud: he scatters his bright cloud:

37:11 Ngaøi chöùa nöôùc trong maây, Vaø giaêng ra caùc maây chôùp nhoaùng cuûa Ngaøi;

37:12 And it is turned round about by his counsels: that they may do whatsoever he commands them upon the face of the world in the earth.

37:12 Nhôø Ngaøi daãn daét, noù bay vaän khaép töù phöông, Ñaëng laøm xong coâng vieäc maø Ngaøi phaùn bieåu noù laøm treân khaép traùi ñaát.

37:13 He causes it to come, whether for correction, or for his land, or for mercy.

37:13 Ngaøi sai maây hoaëc ñeå giaùng hoïa, hoaëc ñeå töôùi ñaát, Hoaëc ñeå laøm ôn cho loaøi ngöôøi.

37:14 Hearken unto this, O Job: stand still, and consider the wondrous works of God.

37:14 Hôõi Gioùp, haõy nghe lôøi naày, Khaù ñöùng yeân, suy nghó veà caùc vieäc dieäu kyø cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

37:15 Do you know when God disposed them, and caused the light of his cloud to shine?

37:15 Oâng coù bieát caùch naøo Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi saép ñaët caùc vieäc aáy chaêng? Caùch naøo Ngaøi chieáu loøa chôùp nhoaùng cuûa maây Ngaøi chaêng?

37:16 Do you know the balancings of the clouds, the wondrous works of him which is perfect in knowledge?

37:16 Oâng coù bieát maây caân bình sao chaêng? Coù hieåu coâng vieäc dieäu kyø cuûa Ñaáng coù trí hueä troïn veïn sao chaêng?

37:17 How your garments are warm, when he stills the earth by the south wind?

37:17 Coù bieát côù sao quaàn aùo oâng noùng, Khi Ngaøi laáy gioù nam maø laøm cho traùi ñaát ñöôïc an tònh?

37:18 Have you with him spread out the sky, which is strong, and as a molten looking glass?

37:18 Oâng coù theá traûi baàu trôøi ra vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chaêng? Noù voán vöõng chaéc nhö moät taám kính ñuùc.

37:19 Teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.

37:19 Haõy daïy cho chuùng toâi bieát ñieàu chuùng toâi phaûi thöa cuøng Ngaøi; Vì taïi söï doát naùt, chuùng toâi chaúng bieát baøy lôøi gì vôùi Ngaøi.

37:20 Shall it be told him that I speak? if a man speak, surely he shall be swallowed up.

37:20 Ngöôøi ta haù seõ thuaät vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng toâi muoán thöa vôùi Ngaøi sao? Neáu ai noùi vôùi Ngaøi, quaû haún seõ bò nuoát ñi.

37:21 And now men see not the bright light which is in the clouds: but the wind passes, and cleanses them.

37:21 Baây giôø, ngöôøi ta khoâng thaáy söï saùng choùi loøa, noù ñaõ aån trong maây; Nhöng gioù thoåi qua xoâ maây ñi vaø trôøi trong treûo laïi.

37:22 Fair weather comes out of the north: with God is terrible majesty.

37:22 Raùng vaøng töø phöông Baéc ñeán; Nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù oai nghieâm ñaùng sôï thay!

37:23 Concerning the Almighty, we cannot find him out: he is excellent in power, and in judgment, and in plenty of justice: he will not afflict.

37:23 Luaän veà Ñaáng Toaøn naêng, ta khoâng tìm thaáy ñeán Ngaøi ñöôïc: Ngaøi voán raát quyeàn naêng, raát chaùnh tröïc vaø coâng bình cöïc ñieåm, khoâng heà haø hieáp ai.

37:24 Men do therefore fear him: he respects not any that are wise of heart.

37:24 Bôûi côù aáy neân loaøi ngöôøi kính sôï Ngaøi; Ngaøi khoâng ñoaùi ñeán keû naøo töôûng mình coù loøng khoân ngoan.

 Giop - Job

38:1 Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind, and said,

38:1 Baáy giôø, töø giöõa côn gioù troát, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùp cuøng Gioùp raèng:

38:2 Who is this that darkens counsel by words without knowledge?

38:2 Keû naày laø ai daùm duøng caùc lôøi khoâng tri thöùc, Maø laøm cho môø aùm caùc möu ñònh ta?

38:3 Gird up now your loins like a man; for I will demand of you, and answer you me.

38:3 Khaù thaét löng ngöôøi nhö keû doõng só; Ta seõ hoûi ngöôi, ngöôi seõ chæ daïy cho ta!

38:4 Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if you have understanding.

38:4 Khi ta ñaët neàn traùi ñaát, thì ngöôi ôû ñaâu? Neáu ngöôi thoâng saùng, haõy toû baøy ñi.

38:5 Who has laid the measures thereof, if you know? or who has stretched the line upon it?

38:5 Ai ñaõ ñònh ñoä löôïng noù, Vaø giaêng daây möïc treân noù, ngöôi coù bieát chaêng?

38:6 Whereupon are the foundations thereof fastened? or who laid the corner stone thereof;

38:6 Neàn noù ñaët treân chi? Ai coù troàng hoøn ñaù goùc cuûa noù?

38:7 When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?

38:7 Trong khi aáy caùc sao mai ñoàng haùt hoøa nhau, Vaø caùc con trai Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caát tieáng reo möøng.

38:8 Or who shut up the sea with doors, when it brake forth, as if it had issued out of the womb?

38:8 Vaû laïi, khi bieån beå bôø vaø caát ra khoûi loøng ñaát, Ai ñaõ laáy caùc cöûa maø ngaên ñoùng noù laïi?

38:9 When I made the cloud the garment thereof, and thick darkness a swaddling band for it,

38:9 Khi aáy ta ban cho noù maây laøm aùo xoáng, Laáy taêm toái laøm khaên vaán cuûa noù;

38:10 And brake up for it my decreed place, and set bars and doors,

38:10 Ta ñònh giôùi haïn cho noù, Ñaët then choát vaø cöûa cuûa noù,

38:11 And said, Until now shall you come, but no further: and here shall your proud waves be stayed?

38:11 Maø raèng: Maày ñeán ñaây, chôù khoâng ñi xa nöõa, Caùc löôïn soùng kieâu ngaïo maày phaûi döøng laïi taïi ñaây!

38:12 Have you commanded the morning since your days; and caused the dayspring to know his place;

 Giop - Job

42:1 Then Job answered the LORD, and said,

42:1 Gioùp thöa vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng:

42:2 I know that you can do every thing, and that no thought can be withheld from you.

42:2 Toâi bieát raèng Chuùa coù theå laøm ñöôïc moïi söï, Chaúng coù yù chæ naøo Chuùa laáy laøm khoù laém.

42:3 Who is he that hides counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not.

42:3 Keû naày laø ai, khoâng hieåu bieát gì, laïi daùm che aùm yù chæ cuûa Chuùa? Phaûi, toâi ñaõ noùi nhöõng ñieàu toâi khoâng hieåu ñeán, Töùc caùc söï laï luøng quaù cho toâi, maø toâi chaúng thoâng bieát.

42:4 Hear, I plead to you, and I will speak: I will demand of you, and declare you unto me.

42:4 Hôõi Chuùa, xin haõy nghe, toâi seõ noùi; Toâi seõ hoûi Chuùa, Chuùa seõ chæ daïy cho toâi.

42:5 I have heard of you by the hearing of the ear: but now mine eye sees you.

42:5 Tröôùc loã tai toâi coù nghe ñoàn veà Chuùa, Nhöng baây giôø, maét toâi ñaõ thaáy Ngaøi:

42:6 Wherefore I detest myself, and repent in dust and ashes.

42:6 Vì vaäy, toâi laáy laøm gôùm gheâ toâi, Vaø aên naên trong tro buïi.

42:7 And it was so, that after the LORD had spoken these words unto Job, the LORD said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you, and against your two friends: for all of you have not spoken of me the thing that is right, as my servant Job has.

42:7 Xaûy sau khi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn caùc lôøi aáy vôùi Gioùp, thì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng EÂ-li-pha, ngöôøi Theâ-man, maø raèng: Côn thaïnh noä ta noåi leân cuøng ngöôi vaø hai baïn höõu ngöôi; bôûi vì caùc ngöôi khoâng coù noùi veà ta caùch xöùng ñaùng, y nhö Gioùp, keû toâi tôù ta, ñaõ noùi.

42:8 Therefore take unto you now seven bullocks and seven rams, and go to my servant Job, and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and my servant Job shall pray for you: for him will I accept: lest I deal with you after your folly, in that all of you have not spoken of me the thing which is right, like my servant Job.

42:8 Vaäy baây giôø, haõy baét baûy con boø ñöïc vaø baûy con chieân ñöïc ñi ñeán Gioùp, keû toâi tôù ta, maø vì caùc ngöôi daâng leân moät cuûa leã thieâu; roài Gioùp, keû toâi tôù ta seõ caàu nguyeän cho caùc ngöôi; vì ta seõ nhaäm lôøi ngöôøi, keûo e ta ñaõi caùc ngöôi tuøy theo söï ngu muoäi cuûa caùc ngöôi; vì caùc ngöôi khoâng coù noùi veà ta caùch xöùng ñaùng, nhö Gioùp, keû toâi tôù ta, ñaõ noùi.

42:9 So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went, and did according as the LORD commanded them: the LORD also accepted Job.

42:9 Vaäy, EÂ-li-pha, ngöôøi Theâ-man, Binh-ñaùt, ngöôøi Su -a, Soâ-pha, ngöôøi Na -a-ma, beøn ñi vaø laøm theo ñieàu Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn daën mình; roài Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nhaäm lôøi cuûa Gioùp.

42:10 And the LORD turned the captivity of Job, when he prayed for his friends: also the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before.

42:10 Vaäy, khi Gioùp ñaõ caàu nguyeän cho baïn höõu mình roài, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn ñem ngöôøi ra khoûi caûnh khoán ngöôøi, vaø ban laïi cho Gioùp baèng gaáp hai caùc taøi saûn maø ngöôøi ñaõ coù tröôùc.

42:11 Then came there unto him all his brethren, and all his sisters, and all they that had been of his acquaintance before, and did eat bread with him in his house: and they bemoaned him, and comforted him over all the evil that the LORD had brought upon him: every man also gave him a piece of money, and every one an earring of gold.

42:11 Heát thaûy anh em ngöôøi, chò em ngöôøi, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi quen bieát Gioùp töø tröôùc, ñeàu ñeán thaêm vaø aên böõa vôùi ngöôøi taïi trong nhaø ngöôøi. Chuùng chia buoàn vaø an uûy ngöôøi veà caùc tai hoïa maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ khieán giaùng treân ngöôøi; moãi ngöôøi ñeàu cho Gioùp moät neùn baïc vaø moät caùi voøng vaøng.

42:12 So the LORD blessed the latter end of Job more than his beginning: for he had fourteen thousand sheep, and six thousand camels, and a thousand yoke of oxen, and a thousand she asses.

42:12 Nhö vaäy, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ban phöôùc cho buoåi giaø cuûa Gioùp nhieàu hôn luùc ñang thì: ngöôøi ñöôïc möôøi boán ngaøn chieân, saùu ngaøn laïc ñaø, moät ngaøn ñoâi boø, vaø moät ngaøn löøa caùi.

42:13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

42:13 Ngöôøi cuõng coù baûy con trai vaø ba con gaùi.

42:14 And he called the name of the first, Jemima; and the name of the second, Kezia; and the name of the third, Kerenhappuch.

42:14 Ngöôøi ñaët teân cho con gaùi lôùn laø Gieâ-mi-ma; con thöù nhì laø Keâ-xia, vaø con thöù ba laø Keâ-ren-Ha-cuùc.

42:15 And in all the land were no women found so fair as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren.

42:15 Trong toaøn xöù chaúng coù ngöôøi nöõ naøo lòch söï baèng ba con gaùi cuûa Gioùp. Cha cuûa hoï cho hoï moät phaàn cô nghieäp trong anh em hoï.

42:16 After this lived Job an hundred and forty years, and saw his sons, and his sons' sons, even four generations.

42:16 Sau vieäc aáy, Gioùp coøn soáng moät traêm boán möôi naêm; ngöôøi thaáy caùc con trai, chaùu, chít mình ñeán ñôøi thöù tö.

42:17 So Job died, being old and full of days.

42:17 Roài Gioùp qua ñôøi tuoåi cao taùc lôùn.
