 Giang - John

11:1 Now a certain man was sick, named Lazarus, of Bethany, the town of Mary and her sister Martha.

11:1 Coù moät ngöôøi ñau, teân laø La-xa-rô, ôû Beâ-tha-ni, laø laøng cuûa Ma-ri vaø chò ngöôøi laø Ma-theâ.

11:2 (It was that Mary which anointed the Lord with ointment, and wiped his feet with her hair, whose brother Lazarus was sick.)

11:2 Ma-ri laø ngöôøi ñaõ xöùc daàu thôm cho Chuùa, vaø laáy toùc mình lau chôn Ngaøi; chính anh ngöôøi laø La-xa-rô ñöông ñau.

11:3 Therefore his sisters sent unto him, saying, Lord, behold, he whom you love is sick.

11:3 Vaäy, hai chò em sai ngöôøi ñeán thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy Chuùa, naày, keû Chuùa yeâu maéc bònh.

11:4 When Jesus heard that, he said, This sickness is not unto death, but for the glory of God, that the Son of God might be glorified thereby.

11:4 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vöøa nghe lôøi ñoù, beøn phaùn raèng: Bònh naày khoâng ñeán cheát ñaâu, nhöng vì söï vinh hieån cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, haàu cho Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi bôûi ñoù ñöôïc saùng danh.

11:5 Now Jesus loved Martha, and her sister, and Lazarus.

11:5 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus yeâu Ma-theâ, em ngöôøi vaø La-xa-rô.

11:6 When he had heard therefore that he was sick, he abode two days still in the same place where he was.

11:6 Khi Ngaøi nghe ngöôøi naày ñau, beøn ôû laïi hai ngaøy nöõa trong nôi Ngaøi ñöông ôû.

11:7 Then after that says he to his disciples, Let us go into Judaea again.

11:7 Roài ñoù, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Chuùng ta haõy trôû veà xöù Giu-ñeâ.

11:8 His disciples say unto him, Master, the Jews of late sought to stone you; and go you thither again?

11:8 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Thöa thaày, hoâm tröôùc daân Giu-ña tìm neùm ñaù thaày, thaày coøn trôû laïi nôi hoï sao!

11:9 Jesus answered, Are there not twelve hours in the day? If any man walk in the day, he stumbles not, because he sees the light of this world.

11:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Trong ban ngaøy haù chaúng phaûi coù möôøi hai giôø sao? neáu ai ñi ban ngaøy, thì khoâng vaáp vì thaáy söï saùng cuûa theá gian naày.

11:10 But if a man walk in the night, he stumbles, because there is no light in him.

11:10 Nhöng neáu ai ñi ban ñeâm, thì vaáp, vì khoâng coù söï saùng.

11:11 These things said he: and after that he says unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep.

11:11 Ngaøi phaùn nhö vaäy, roài tieáp raèng: La-xa-rô, baïn ta, ñöông nguû; nhöng ta ñi ñaùnh thöùc ngöôøi.

11:12 Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleep, he shall do well.

11:12 Moân ñoà thöa raèng: Thöa Chuùa, neáu ngöôøi nguû, chaéc seõ ñöôïc laønh.

11:13 Nevertheless Jesus spoke of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep.

11:13 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn lôøi ñoù chæ veà söï cheát cuûa La-xa-rô; song moân ñoà töôûng noùi veà giaác nguû thöôøng.

11:14 Then said Jesus unto them plainly, Lazarus is dead.

11:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn noùi toû töôøng cuøng moân ñoà raèng: La-xa-rô cheát roài.

11:15 And I am glad for your sakes that I was not there, to the intent all of you may believe; nevertheless let us go unto him.

11:15 Ta vì caùc ngöôi möøng khoâng coù ta taïi ñoù, ñeå cho caùc ngöôi tin; nhöng chuùng ta haõy ñi ñeán cuøng ngöôøi.

11:16 Then said Thomas, which is called Didymus, unto his fellow disciples, Let us also go, that we may die with him.

11:16 Nhôn ñoù, Thoâ-ma, goïi laø Ñi-ñim, noùi vôùi moân ñoà khaùc raèng: Chuùng ta cuõng haõy ñi tôùi ñoù ñaëng cheát vôùi Ngaøi!

11:17 Then when Jesus came, he found that he had lain in the grave four days already.

11:17 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán nôi, thaáy ñaõ choân La-xa-rô trong moä boán ngaøy roài.

11:18 Now Bethany was nigh unto Jerusalem, about fifteen furlongs off:

11:18 Vaû, thaønh Beâ-tha-ni caùch thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem chæ ñoä möôøi laêm eách-ta-ñô.

11:19 And many of the Jews came to Martha and Mary, to comfort them concerning their brother.

11:19 Coù nhieàu ngöôøi Giu-ña ñaõ ñeán ñoù ñaëng yeân uûi Ma-theâ vaø Ma-ri veà söï anh cheát.

11:20 Then Martha, as soon as she heard that Jesus was coming, went and met him: but Mary sat still in the house.

11:20 Luùc Ma-theâ nghe Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán, thì ñi ñoùn Ngaøi; nhöng Ma-ri thì ngoài taïi nhaø.

11:21 Then said Martha unto Jesus, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.

11:21 Ma-theâ thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy Chuùa, neáu Chuùa coù ñaây, thì anh toâi khoâng cheát;

11:22 But I know, that even now, whatsoever you will ask of God, God will give it you.

11:22 maø baây giôø toâi cuøng bieát moïi ñieàu Ngaøi seõ xin Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi aét ban cho.

11:23 Jesus says unto her, Your brother shall rise again.

11:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Anh ngöôi seõ soáng laïi.

11:24 Martha says unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

11:24 Ma-theâ thöa raèng: Toâi vaãn bieát raèng ñeán söï soáng laïi ngaøy cuoái cuøng, anh toâi seõ soáng laïi.

11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:

11:25 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Ta laø söï soáng laïi vaø söï soáng; keû naøo tin ta thì seõ soáng, maëc daàu ñaõ cheát roài.

11:26 And whosoever lives and believes in me shall never die. Believe you this?

11:26 Coøn ai soáng maø tin ta thì khoâng heà cheát. Ngöôi tin ñieàu ñoù chaêng?

11:27 She says unto him, Yea, Lord: I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, which should come into the world.

11:27 Ngöôøi thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, phaûi, toâi tin Chuùa laø Ñaáng Christ, Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñaáng phaûi ñeán theá gian.

11:28 And when she had so said, she went her way, and called Mary her sister secretly, saying, The Master has come, and calls for you.

11:28 Ngöôøi noùi xong, lieàn veà, leùn keâu em laø Ma-ri, maø raèng: Thaày ôû ñaèng kia, ñöông goïi em laïi.

11:29 As soon as she heard that, she arose quickly, and came unto him.

11:29 Ma-ri vöøa nghe maáy lôøi, voäi vaøng ñöùng daäy ñeán cuøng Ngaøi.

11:30 Now Jesus was not yet come into the town, but was in that place where Martha met him.

11:30 Vaû, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chöa vaøo trong laøng, nhöng coøn ñöùng nôi Ma-theâ ñoùn Ngaøi.

11:31 The Jews then which were with her in the house, and comforted her, when they saw Mary, that she rose up hastily and went out, followed her, saying, She goes unto the grave to weep there.

11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if you had been here, my brother had not died.

11:32 Nhöng Ma-ri, luùc ñaõ tôùi nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöùng, vöøa thaáy Ngaøi, thì saáp mình xuoáng chôn Ngaøi maø noùi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, neáu coù Chuùa ñaây, thì anh toâi khoâng cheát!

11:33 When Jesus therefore saw her weeping, and the Jews also weeping which came with her, he groaned in the spirit, (o. pneuma) and was troubled.

11:33 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy ngöôøi khoùc, vaø nhöõng ngöôøi Giu-ña ñi vôùi ngöôøi cuõng khoùc, beøn ñau loøng caûm ñoäng maø phaùn raèng: Caùc ngöôi ñaõ choân ngöôøi ôû ñaâu?

11:34 And said, Where have all of you laid him? They said unto him, Lord, come and see.

11:34 Chuùng thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin haõy laïi coi.

11:35 Jesus wept.

11:35 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoùc.

11:36 Then said the Jews, Behold how he loved him!

11:36 Ngöôøi Giu-ña beøn noùi raèng: Kìa, ngöôøi yeâu La-xa-rô laø döôøng naøo!

11:37 And some of them said, Could not this man, which opened the eyes of the blind, have caused that even this man should not have died?

11:37 Coù moät vaøi ngöôøi trong chuùng noùi: Ngöôøi ñaõ môû maét keû muø ñöôïc, haù chaúng coù theå cuõng laøm cho ngöôøi naày khoâng cheát sao?

11:38 Jesus therefore again groaning in himself comes to the grave. It was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

11:38 Baáy giôø, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi ñau loøng nöõa, beøn ñeán phaàn moä; moä baèng moät caùi hang, tröôùc cöûa hang coù moät hoøn ñaù chaän laïi.

11:39 Jesus said, Take all of you away the stone. Martha, the sister of him that was dead, says unto him, Lord, by this time he stinks: for he has been dead four days.

11:39 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy laên hoøn ñaù ñi. Ma-theâ, laø em gaùi keû cheát, thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, ñaõ coù muøi, vì ngöôøi naèm ñoù boán ngaøy roài.

11:40 Jesus says unto her, Said I not unto you, that, if you would believe, you should see the glory of God?

11:40 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn: Ta haù chaúng töøng noùi vôùi ngöôi raèng neáu ngöôi tin thì seõ thaáy söï vinh hieån cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi sao?

11:41 Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead was laid. And Jesus lifted up his eyes, and said, Father, I thank you that you have heard me.

11:41 Vaäy, hoï laên hoøn ñaù ñi. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn nhöôùng maét leân trôøi maø raèng: Thöa Cha, toâi taï ôn Cha, vì ñaõ nhaäm lôøi toâi.

11:42 And I knew that you hear me always: but because of the people which stand by I said it, that they may believe that you have sent me.

11:42 Toâi bieát roõ raèng Cha nhaäm lôøi toâi luoân, nhöng toâi noùi vaäy laø vì côù ñoaøn daân naày ñöùng chung quanh toâi, haàu cho hoï tin raèng aáy chính Cha laø Ñaáng ñaõ sai toâi ñeán.

11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

11:43 Khi Ngaøi noùi xong, beøn keâu leân moät tieáng lôùn raèng: Hôõi La-xa-rô, haõy ra!

11:44 And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with grave clothes: and his face was bound about with a cloth. Jesus says unto them, Loose him, and let him go.

11:44 Ngöôøi cheát ñi ra, chôn tay buoäc baèng vaûi lieäm vaø maët thì phuû khaên. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng chuùng raèng: Haõy môû cho ngöôøi, vaø ñeå ngöôøi ñi.

11:45 Then many of the Jews which came to Mary, and had seen the things which Jesus did, believed on him.

11:45 Coù nhieàu ngöôøi Giu-ña ñaõ ñeán cuøng Ma-ri vaø thaáy söï Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laøm beøn tin Ngaøi.

11:46 But some of them went their ways to the Pharisees, and told them what things Jesus had done.

11:46 Nhöng moät vaøi ngöôøi trong boïn ñoù ñi tìm ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, maùch cho hoï söï Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm.

11:47 Then gathered the chief priests and the Pharisees a council, and said, What do we? for this man does many miracles.

11:47 Caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si nhoùm toøa coâng luaän, baøn raèng: Ngöôøi naày laøm pheùp laï nhieàu laém, chuùng ta tính theá naøo?

11:48 If we let him thus alone, all men will believe on him: and the Romans shall come and take away both our place and nation.

11:48 Neáu chuùng ta ñeå cho ngöôøi laøm, thì thieân haï tin ngöôøi, roài daân Roâ-ma seõ ñeán dieät nôi naày vaø caû nöôùc chuùng ta nöõa.

11:49 And one of them, named Caiaphas, being the high priest that same year, said unto them, All of you know nothing at all,

11:49 Nhöng moät ngöôøi trong boïn hoï, teân laø Cai-phe, laøm thaày caû thöôïng phaåm ñöông nieân, noùi raèng: Caùc ngöôi chaúng bieát gì heát!

11:50 Nor consider that it is expedient for us, that one man should die for the people, and that the whole nation perish not.

11:50 Caùc ngöôi chaúng xeùt raèng thaø moät ngöôøi vì daân chòu cheát, coøn hôn caû nöôùc bò hö maát.

11:51 And this spoke he not of himself: but being high priest that year, he prophesied that Jesus should die for that nation;

11:51 Vaû, ngöôøi noùi ñieàu ñoù chaúng phaûi töï mình, nhöng bôûi laøm thaày caû thöôïng phaåm ñöông nieân, ngöôøi noùi tieân tri veà Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus seõ vì daân maø cheát;

11:52 And not for that nation only, but that also he should gather together in one the children of God that were scattered abroad.

11:52 vaø khoâng nhöõng vì daân thoâi, maø cuõng ñeå nhoùm con caùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ taûn laïc laïi laøm moät ñoaøn.

11:53 Then from that day forth they took counsel together in order to put him to death.

11:53 Töø ngaøy ñoù, chuùng laäp möu gieát Ngaøi.

11:54 Jesus therefore walked no more openly among the Jews; but went thence unto a country near to the wilderness, into a city called Ephraim, and there continued with his disciples.

11:54 Cho neân Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoâng toû mình roõ raøng trong voøng daân Giu-ña nöõa, song Ngaøi ñi trong mieàn gaàn ñoàng vaéng, nôi moät thaønh goïi laø Eùp-ra-im; vaø ôû laïi ñoù vôùi moân ñoà.

11:55 And the Jews' passover was nigh at hand: and many went out of the country up to Jerusalem before the passover, to purify themselves.

11:55 Leã Vöôït Qua cuûa daân Giu-ña gaàn ñeán, coù laém ngöôøi trong xöù leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem tröôùc ngaøy leã ñeå taåy ueá.

11:56 Then sought they for Jesus, and spoke among themselves, as they stood in the temple, What think all of you, that he will not come to the feast?

11:56 Vaäy, chuùng kieám Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, vaø ñöùng trong ñeàn thôø, noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Caùc ngöôi töôûng theá naøo? Ngöôøi khoâng ñeán giöõ leã hay sao?

11:57 Now both the chief priests and the Pharisees had given a commandment, that, if any man knew where he were, he should show it, that they might take him.

11:57 Vaû, caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si ñaõ ra lònh, neáu ai bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû ñaâu, thì phaûi maùch vôùi hoï, ñeå hoï baét Ngaøi.

 Giang - John

12:1 Then Jesus six days before the passover came to Bethany, where Lazarus was, which had been dead, whom he raised from the dead.

12:1 Saùu ngaøy tröôùc leã Vöôït Qua, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán thaønh Beâ-tha-ni, nôi La-xa-rô ôû, laø ngöôøi Ngaøi ñaõ khieán soáng laïi töø keû cheát.

12:2 There they made him a supper; and Martha served: but Lazarus was one of them that sat at the table with him.

12:2 Ngöôøi ta ñaõi tieäc Ngaøi taïi ñoù, vaø Ma-theâ haàu haï; La-xa-rô laø moät ngöôøi trong ñaùm ngoài ñoàng baøn vôùi Ngaøi.

12:3 Then took Mary a pound of ointment of spikenard, very costly, and anointed the feet of Jesus, and wiped his feet with her hair: and the house was filled with the odour of the ointment.

12:3 Baáy giôø, Ma-ri laáy moät caân daàu cam tuøng höông thaät, quí giaù, xöùc chôn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø laáy toùc mình maø lau; caû nhaø thôm nöùc muøi daàu ñoù.

12:4 Then says one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him,

12:4 Nhöng Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát, laø moät moân ñoà veà sau phaûn Ngaøi, noùi raèng:

12:5 Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor?

12:5 Sao khoâng baùn daàu thôm ñoù laáy ba traêm ñô-ni-eâ ñaëng boá thí cho keû ngheøo?

12:6 This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein.

12:6 Ngöôøi noùi vaäy, chaúng phaûi laø cho keû ngheøo ñaâu, song vì ngöôøi voán laø tay troäm cöôùp, vaø giöõ tuùi baïc, troäm laáy cuûa ngöôøi ta ñeå ôû trong.

12:7 Then said Jesus, Let her alone: against the day of my burying has she kept this.

12:7 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Haõy ñeå maëc ngöôøi, ngöôøi ñaõ ñeå daønh daàu thôm naày cho ngaøy choân xaùc ta.

12:8 For the poor always all of you have with you; but me all of you have not always.

12:8 Vì caùc ngöôi thöôøng coù keû ngheøo ôû vôùi mình, coøn ta, caùc ngöôi khoâng coù ta luoân luoân.

12:9 Much people of the Jews therefore knew that he was there: and they came not for Jesus' sake only, but that they might see Lazarus also, whom he had raised from the dead.

12:9 Moät boïn ngöôøi Giu-ña nghe Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus coù taïi ñoù, beøn ñeán, chaúng nhöõng vì Ngaøi thoâi, laïi cuõng ñeå xem La-xa-rô, laø ngöôøi Ngaøi ñaõ khieán töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

12:10 But the chief priests consulted that they might put Lazarus also to death;

12:10 Caùc thaày teá leã caû beøn ñònh gieát luoân La-xa-rô nöõa,

12:11 Because that by reason of him many of the Jews went away, and believed on Jesus.

12:11 vì coù nhieàu ngöôøi Giu-ña nhôn côù ngöôøi maø chia reõ hoï vaø tin theo Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

12:12 On the next day much people that were come to the feast, when they heard that Jesus was coming to Jerusalem,

12:12 Qua ngaøy sau, coù moät ñaùm daân ñoâng ñeán ñaëng döï leã, bieát Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem,

12:13 Took branches of palm trees, and went forth to meet him, and cried, Hosanna: Blessed is the King of Israel that comes in the name of the Lord.

12:13 beøn laáy nhöõng laù keø ra ñoùn Ngaøi, vaø reo leân raèng: Hoâ-sa-na! Chuùc phöôùc cho Ñaáng nhôn danh Chuùa maø ñeán, laø Vua cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân!

12:14 And Jesus, when he had found a young ass, sat thereon; as it is written,

12:14 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus gaëp moät con löøa con, beøn leân côõi, y nhö lôøi cheùp raèng:

12:15 Fear not, daughter of Sion: behold, your King comes, sitting on an ass's colt.

12:15 Hôõi con gaùi thaønh Si-oân, chôù sôï chi, naày, Vua ngöôi ñeán, côõi treân löøa con cuûa löøa caùi.

12:16 These things understood not his disciples at the first: but when Jesus was glorified, then remembered they that these things were written of him, and that they had done these things unto him.

12:16 Moân ñoà tröôùc voán khoâng hieåu ñieàu ñoù; nhöng ñeán khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ ñöôïc vinh hieån, môùi nhôù laïi nhöõng söï ñoù ñaõ cheùp veà Ngaøi, vaø ngöôøi ta ñaõ laøm thaønh cho Ngaøi.

12:17 The people therefore that was with him when he called Lazarus out of his grave, and raised him from the dead, bare record.

12:17 Ñoaøn daân ôû cuøng Ngaøi, khi Ngaøi keâu La-xa-rô ra khoûi moä vaø khieán töø keû cheát soáng laïi, ñeàu laøm chöùng veà Ngaøi.

12:18 For this cause the people also met him, for that they heard that he had done this miracle.

12:18 Aáy cuõng taïi ñieàu ñoù maø ñoaøn daân ñi ñoùn Ngaøi, vì coù nghe raèng Ngaøi ñaõ laøm pheùp laï aáy.

12:19 The Pharisees therefore said among themselves, Perceive all of you how all of you prevail nothing? behold, the world is gone after him.

12:19 Nhôn ñoù, ngöôøi Pha-ri-si noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Caùc ngöôi thaáy mình chaúng laøm noåi chi heát; kìa, caû thieân haï ñeàu chaïy theo ngöôøi!

12:20 And there were certain Greeks among them that came up to worship at the feast:

12:20 Vaû, trong ñaùm ñaõ leân ñaëng thôø laïy trong kyø leã, coù maáy ngöôøi Gôø-reùc,

12:21 The same came therefore to Philip, which was of Bethsaida of Galilee, and desired him, saying, Sir, we would see Jesus.

12:21 ñeán tìm Phi-líp, laø ngöôøi ôû thaønh Beát-sai-ña, thuoäc xöù Ga-li-leâ, maø xin raèng: Thöa chuùa, chuùng toâi muoán ra maét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

12:22 Philip comes and tells Andrew: and again Andrew and Philip tell Jesus.

12:22 Phi-líp ñi noùi vôùi Anh-reâ; roài Anh-reâ vôùi Phi-líp ñeán thöa cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

12:23 And Jesus answered them, saying, The hour has come, that the Son of man should be glorified.

12:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn ñaùp raèng: Giôø ñaõ ñeán, khi Con ngöôøi seõ ñöôïc vinh hieån.

12:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abides alone: but if it die, it brings forth much fruit.

12:24 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, neáu hoät gioáng luùa mì kia, chaúng cheát sau khi gieo xuoáng ñaát, thì cöù ôû moät mình; nhöng neáu cheát ñi, thì keát quaû ñöôïc nhieàu.

12:25 He that loves his life shall lose it; and he that hates his life in this world shall keep it unto life eternal.

12:25 Ai yeâu söï soáng mình thì seõ maát ñi, ai gheùt söï soáng mình trong ñôøi naày thì seõ giöõ laïi ñeán söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi.

12:26 If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will my Father honour.

12:26 Neáu ai haàu vieäc ta, thì phaûi theo ta, vaø ta ôû ñaâu, thì keû haàu vieäc ta cuõng seõ ôû ñoù; neáu ai haàu vieäc ta, thì Cha ta aét toân quí ngöôøi.

12:27 Now is my soul troubled; and what shall I say? Father, save me from this hour: but for this cause came I unto this hour.

12:27 Hieän nay taâm thaàn ta boái roái; ta seõ noùi gì? Laïy Cha, xin cöùu Con khoûi giôø naày! nhöng aáy cuõng vì söï ñoù maø Con ñeán giôø naày!

12:28 Father, glorify your name. Then came there a voice from heaven, saying, I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again.

12:28 Cha ôi, xin laøm saùng danh Cha! Baáy giôø coù tieáng töø treân trôøi phaùn xuoáng raèng: Ta ñaõ laøm saùng danh roài, ta coøn laøm cho saùng danh nöõa!

12:29 The people therefore, that stood by, and heard it, said that it thundered: others said, An angel spoke to him.

12:29 Ñoaøn daân ôû taïi ñoù nghe tieáng thì noùi raèng aáy laø tieáng saám; coù keû khaùc noùi: Moät vò thieân söù naøo noùi vôùi Ngaøi.

12:30 Jesus answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.

12:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Aáy chaúng phaûi vì ta maø tieáng naày vang ra, nhöng vì caùc ngöôi.

12:31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.

12:31 Hieän baây giôø, coù söï phaùn xeùt theá gian naày, vaø hieän nay vua chuùa cuûa theá gian naày phaûi bò xua ñuoåi.

12:32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

12:32 Coøn ta, khi ta ñaõ ñöôïc treo leân khoûi ñaát, ta seõ keùo moïi ngöôøi ñeán cuøng ta.

12:33 This he said, signifying what death he should die.

12:33 Ngaøi phaùn vaäy ñeå chæ mình phaûi cheát caùch naøo.

12:34 The people answered him, We have heard out of the law that Christ abides for ever: and how says you, The Son of man must be lifted up? who is this Son of man?

12:34 Ñoaøn daân thöa raèng: Chuùng toâi coù hoï trong luaät phaùp raèng Ñaáng Christ coøn ñôøi ñôøi, vaäy sao thaày noùi Con ngöôøi phaûi bò treo leân? Con ngöôøi ñoù laø ai?

12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while all of you have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walks in darkness knows not where he goes.

12:35 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus beøn ñaùp raèng: Söï saùng coøn ôû giöõa caùc ngöôi ít laâu; haõy ñi trong khi caùc ngöôi coøn coù söï saùng, e raèng söï toái taêm ñeán thình lình cuøng caùc ngöôi chaêng; keû ñi trong nôi toái taêm thì chaúng bieát mình ñi ñaâu.

12:36 While all of you have light, believe in the light, that all of you may be the children of light. These things spoke Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.

12:36 Caùc ngöôi ñöông coù söï saùng, haõy tin söï saùng, haàu cho trôû neân con caùi cuûa söï saùng. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn nhö vaäy, roài ñi, vaø aån mình caùch xa hoï.

12:37 But though he had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on him:

12:37 Vaû, daãu Ngaøi ñaõ laøm baáy nhieâu pheùp laï tröôùc maët chuùng, hoï cuõng khoâng tin Ngaøi,

12:38 That the saying (o. logos) of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Lord, who has believed our report? and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?

12:38 ñeå ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi naày cuûa ñaáng tieân tri EÂ-sai: Laïy Chuùa, ai ñaõ tin lôøi giaûng chuùng toâi, Vaø caùnh tay Chuùa ñaõ toû ra cho ai?

12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again,

12:39 Vaû laïi, chuùng khoâng theå tin, vì EÂ-sai laïi coù noùi raèng:

12:40 He has blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.

12:40 Ngaøi ñaõ khieán maét hoï muø, loøng hoï cöùng, Haàu cho maét chaúng thaáy, loøng chaúng hieåu, Khoâng töï hoái caûi, Vaø ta chaúng chöõa laønh cho.

12:41 These things said Isaiah, when he saw his glory, and spoke of him.

12:41 EÂ-sai noùi ñieàu ñoù, khi thaáy söï vinh hieån cuûa Ngaøi vaø noùi veà Ngaøi.

12:42 Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed on him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue:

12:42 Nhöng, trong haøng quan tröôûng cuõng coù nhieàu ngöôøi tin Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus; song vì côù ngöôøi Pha-ri-si, neân khoâng xöng Ngaøi ra, sôï bò ñuoåi khoûi nhaø hoäi chaêng.

12:43 For they loved the praise of men more than the praise of God.

12:43 Vì hoï chuoäng danh voïng bôûi ngöôøi ta ñeán hôn laø danh voïng bôûi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán.

12:44 Jesus cried and said, He that believes on me, believes not on me, but on him that sent me.

12:44 Tuy vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus caát tieáng phaùn raèng: Ai tin ta, chaúng phaûi tin ta, nhöng tin Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán.

12:45 And he that sees me sees him that sent me.

12:45 Coøn ai thaáy ta, laø thaáy Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán.

12:46 I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believes on me should not abide in darkness.

12:46 Ta laø söï saùng ñaõ ñeán theá gian, ñeå ai tin ta, chaúng ôû nôi toái taêm nöõa.

12:47 And if any man hear my words, (o. rhema) and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.

12:47 Laïi neáu keû naøo nghe lôøi ta maø khoâng vaâng giöõ aáy chaúng phaûi ta xeùt ñoaùn keû ñoù; vì ta ñeán chaúng ñeå xeùt ñoaùn theá gian, nhöng ñeå cöùu chuoäc.

12:48 He that rejects me, and receives not my words, (o. rhema) has one that judges him: the word (o. logos) that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day.

12:48 Ngöôøi naøo boû ta ra vaø khoâng nhaän laõnh lôøi ta, ñaõ coù keû xeùt ñoaùn roài; lôøi ta ñaõ rao giaûng, chính lôøi ñoù seõ xeùt ñoaùn hoï nôi ngaøy sau cuøng.

12:49 For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak.

12:49 Bôûi ta chaúng noùi theo yù rieâng ta; nhöng Cha sai ta ñeán, ñaõ truyeàn lònh cho ta phaûi noùi ñieàu chi vaø phaûi noùi theå naøo.

12:50 And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak.

12:50 Ta bieát maïng lònh Cha, aáy laø söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi. Vaäy, nhöõng ñieàu ta noùi, thì noùi theo nhö Cha ta ñaõ daën.

 Giang - John

13:1 Now before the feast of the passover, when Jesus knew that his hour was come that he should depart out of this world unto the Father, having loved his own which were in the world, he loved them unto the end.

13:1 Tröôùc ngaøy leã Vöôït Qua, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát giôø mình phaûi lìa theá gian ñaëng trôû veà cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Cha ñeán roài; Ngaøi ñaõ yeâu keû thuoäc veà mình trong theá gian, thì cöù yeâu cho ñeán cuoái cuøng.

13:2 And supper being ended, the devil having now put into the heart of Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, to betray him;

13:2 Ñöông böõa aên toái (ma quæ ñaõ ñeå möu phaûn Ngaøi vaøo loøng Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát con trai Si-moân),

13:3 Jesus knowing that the Father had given all things into his hands, and that he was come from God, and went to God;

13:3 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát raèng Cha ñaõ giao phoù moïi söï trong tay mình, vaø mình seõ veà vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi,

13:4 He rises from supper, and laid aside his garments; and took a towel, and girded himself.

13:4 neân ñöùng daäy khoûi baøn, côûi aùo ra, laáy khaên vaán ngang löng mình.

13:5 After that he pours water into a basin, and began to wash the disciples' feet, and to wipe them with the towel wherewith he was girded.

13:5 Keá ñoù, Ngaøi ñoå Nöôùc vaøo chaäu, vaø röûa chôn cho moân ñoà, laïi laáy khaên mình ñaõ vaán maø lau chôn cho.

13:6 Then comes he to Simon Peter: and Peter says unto him, Lord, do you wash my feet?

13:6 Vaäy, Ngaøi ñeán cuøng Si-moân Phi -e-rô, thì ngöôøi thöa raèng: Chuùa oâi, chính Chuùa laïi röûa chôn cho toâi sao!

13:7 Jesus answered and said unto him, What I do you know not now; but you shall know hereafter.

13:7 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Hieän nay ngöôi chaúng bieát söï ta laøm; nhöng veà sau seõ bieát.

13:8 Peter says unto him, You shall never wash my feet. Jesus answered him, If I wash you not, you have no part with me.

13:8 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Chuùa seõ chaúng röûa chôn toâi bao giôø! Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Neáu ta khoâng röûa cho ngöôi, ngöôi chaúng coù phaàn chi vôùi ta heát.

13:9 Simon Peter says unto him, Lord, not my feet only, but also my hands and my head.

13:9 Si-moân Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, chaúng nhöõng röûa chôn maø thoâi, laïi cuõng röûa tay vaø ñaàu nöõa!

13:10 Jesus says to him, He that is washed needs not save to wash his feet, but is clean everything: and all of you are clean, but not all.

13:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ai ñaõ taém roài, chæ caàn röûa chôn, thì ñöôïc saïch caû. Vaû, caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc tinh saïch, nhöng chöa ñöôïc tinh saïch ñeàu.

13:11 For he knew who should betray him; therefore said he, All of you are not all clean.

13:11 Vì Ngaøi ñaõ bieát ai seõ phaûn Ngaøi; taïi theá cho neân Ngaøi phaùn raèng: caùc ngöôi chaúng phaûi heát thaûy ñeàu ñöôïc tinh saïch.

13:12 So after he had washed their feet, and had taken his garments, and was set down again, he said unto them, Know all of you what I have done to you?

13:12 Sau khi ñaõ röûa chôn cho moân ñoà, Ngaøi maëc aùo laïi; ñoaïn ngoài vaøo baøn maø phaùn raèng: caùc ngöôi coù hieåu ñieàu ta ñaõ laøm cho caùc ngöôi chaêng?

13:13 All of you call me Master and Lord: and all of you say well; for so I am.

13:13 Caùc ngöôi goïi ta baèng Thaày baèng Chuùa; Caùc ngöôi noùi phaûi, vì ta thaät vaäy.

13:14 If I then, your Lord and Master, have washed your feet; all of you also ought to wash one another's feet.

13:14 Vaäy, neáu ta laø Chuùa laø Thaày, maø ñaõ röûa chôn cho caùc ngöôi, thì caùc ngöôi cuõng neân röûa chôn laãn cho nhau.

13:15 For I have given you an example, that all of you should do as I have done to you.

13:15 Vì ta ñaõ laøm göông cho caùc ngöôi, ñeå caùc ngöôi cuõng laøm nhö ta ñaõ laøm cho caùc ngöôi.

13:16 Verily, verily, I say unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord; neither he that is sent greater than he that sent him.

13:16 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñaày tôù chaúng lôùn hôn chuû mình, söù giaû cuõng chaúng lôùn hôn keû sai mình.

13:17 If all of you know these things, happy are all of you if all of you do them.

13:17 Ví baèng caùc ngöôi bieát nhöõng söï naày, thì coù phöôùc, mieãn laø caùc ngöôi laøm theo.

13:18 I speak not of you all: I know whom I have chosen: but that the scripture may be fulfilled, He that eats bread with me has lifted up his heel against me.

13:18 Ta khoâng noùi veà caùc ngöôi heát thaûy, ta bieát nhöõng keû ta ñaõ löïa choïn; nhöng lôøi naày trong Kinh Thaùnh phaûi ñöôïc öùng nghieäm: Ngöôøi aên baùnh ta, dôû goùt nghòch cuøng ta.

13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it has come to pass, all of you may believe that I am he.

13:19 Hieän baây giôø, ta noùi ñieàu naày cuøng caùc ngöôi tröôùc vieäc chöa xaûy ñeán; ñeå khi vieäc xaûy ñeán roài, caùc ngöôi seõ tin ta laø Ñaáng ñoù.

13:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that receives whomsoever I send receives me; and he that receives me receives him that sent me.

13:20 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ai tieáp ngöôøi maø ta ñaõ sai, töùc laø tieáp ta; heã ai tieáp ta, töùc laø tieáp Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán.

13:21 When Jesus had thus said, he was troubled in spirit, (o. pneuma) and testified, and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, that one of you shall betray me.

13:21 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn nhö vaäy roài, thì taâm thaàn Ngaøi boái roái, beøn toû ra raèng: Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, moät ngöôøi trong caùc ngöôi seõ phaûn ta.

13:22 Then the disciples looked one on another, doubting of whom he spoke.

13:22 Caùc moân ñoà ngoù nhau, khoâng bieát Ngaøi noùi veà ai ñoù.

13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved.

13:23 Vaû, coù moät moân ñoà döïa vaøo ngöïc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, töùc laø ngöôøi maø Ngaøi yeâu.

13:24 Simon Peter therefore beckoned to him, that he should ask who it should be of whom he spoke.

13:24 Si-moân Phi -e-rô ra daáu cho ngöôøi ñoù raèng: Haõy noùi cho chuùng ta bieát thaày phaùn veà ai.

13:25 He then lying on Jesus' breast says unto him, Lord, who is it?

13:25 Vaäy, ngöôøi nghieâng mình treân ngöïc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, hoûi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, aáy laø ai?

13:26 Jesus answered, He it is, to whom I shall give a morsel, when I have dipped it. And when he had dipped the morsel, he gave it to Judas Iscariot, the son of Simon.

13:26 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Aáy laø keû maø ta trao cho mieáng baùnh ta seõ nhuùng ñaây. Ñoaïn, Ngaøi nhuùng moät mieáng, roài laáy cho Giu-ña Ích-ca-ri-oát, con trai cuûa Si-moân.

13:27 And after the morsel Satan entered into him. Then said Jesus unto him, That you do, do quickly.

13:28 Now no man at the table knew for what intent he spoke this unto him.

13:28 Nhöng caùc ngöôi ngoài ñoàng baøn ñoù chaúng ai hieåu vì sao Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi nhö vaäy.

13:29 For some of them thought, because Judas had the bag, that Jesus had said unto him, Buy those things that we have need of against the feast; or, that he should give something to the poor.

13:29 Coù keû töôûng raèng taïi Giu-ña coù tuùi baïc, neân Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieåu ngöôøi: Haõy mua ñoà chuùng ta caàn duøng veà kyø leã; hay laø Haõy boá thí cho keû ngheøo.

13:30 He then having received the morsel went immediately out: and it was night.

13:30 Coøn Giu-ña, khi laõnh laáy mieáng baùnh roài, lieàn ñi ra. Khi aáy ñaõ toái.

13:31 Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

13:31 Khi Giu-ña ñaõ ra roài, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Hieän baây giôø Con ngöôøi ñöôïc vinh hieån, vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñöôïc vinh hieån nôi Con ngöôøi.

13:32 If God be glorified in him, God shall also glorify him in himself, and shall immediately glorify him.

13:32 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng seõ laøm cho Con ngöôøi vinh hieån nôi chính mình Ngaøi, vaø Ngaøi seõ kíp laøm cho vinh hieån.

13:33 Little children, yet a little while I am with you. All of you shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Where I go, all of you cannot come; so now I say to you.

13:33 Hôõi caùc con treû ta, ta coøn taïm ôû vôùi caùc ngöôi; caùc ngöôi seõ tìm ta, vaø nhö ta ñaõ noùi vôùi ngöôøi Giu-ña raèng: Caùc ngöôi khoâng theå ñeán nôi ta ñi, thì baây giôø ta cuõng noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi nhö vaäy.

13:34 A new commandment I give unto you, That all of you love one another; as I have loved you, that all of you also love one another.

13:34 Ta ban cho caùc ngöôi moät ñieàu raên môùi, nghóa laø caùc ngöôi phaûi yeâu nhau; nhö ta ñaõ yeâu caùc ngöôi theå naøo, thì caùc ngöôi cuõng haõy yeâu nhau theå aáy.

13:35 By this shall all men know that all of you are my disciples, if all of you have love (o. agape) one to another.

13:35 Neáu caùc ngöôi yeâu nhau, thì aáy laø taïi ñieàu ñoù maø thieân haï seõ nhaän bieát caùc ngöôi laø moân ñoà ta.

13:36 Simon Peter said unto him, Lord, where go you? Jesus answered him, Where I go, you can not follow me now; but you shall follow me afterwards.

13:36 Si-moân Phi -e-rô thöa cuøng Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, Chuùa ñi ñaâu? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Nôi ta ñi, baây giôø ngöôi chaúng coù theå theo ta ñöôïc; nhöng roài sau ngöôi seõ theo ta.

13:37 Peter said unto him, Lord, why cannot I follow you now? I will lay down my life for your sake.

13:37 Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, sao hieän baây giôø toâi khoâng theå theo Chuùa ñöôïc? Toâi lieàu söï soáng toâi vì Chuùa!

13:38 Jesus answered him, Will you lay down your life for my sake? Verily, verily, I say unto you, The cock shall not crow, till you have denied me three times.

13:38 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi lieàu söï soáng ngöôi vì ta sao! Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, khi gaø chöa gaùy, ngöôi ñaõ choái ta ba laàn!

 Giang - John

14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: all of you believe in God, believe also in me.

14:1 Loøng caùc ngöôi chôù heà boái roái; haõy tin Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, cuõng haõy tin ta nöõa.

14:2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

14:2 Trong nhaø Cha ta coù nhieàu choã ôû; baèng chaúng vaäy, ta ñaõ noùi cho caùc ngöôi roài. Ta ñi saém saün cho caùc ngöôi moät choã.

14:3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there all of you may be also.

14:3 Khi ta ñaõ ñi, vaø saém saün cho caùc ngöôi moät choã roài, ta seõ trôû laïi ñem caùc ngöôi ñi vôùi ta, haàu cho ta ôû ñaâu thì caùc ngöôi cuõng ôû ñoù.

14:4 And where I go all of you know, and the way all of you know.

14:4 Caùc ngöôi bieát ta ñi ñaâu, vaø bieát ñöôøng ñi nöõa.

14:5 Thomas says unto him, Lord, we know not where you go; and how can we know the way?

14:5 Thoâ-ma thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, chuùng toâi chaúng bieát Chuùa ñi ñaâu; laøm sao bieát ñöôøng ñöôïc?

14:6 Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me.

14:6 Vaäy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ta laø ñöôøng ñi, leõ thaät, vaø söï soáng; chaúng bôûi ta thì khoâng ai ñöôïc ñeán cuøng Cha.

14:7 If all of you had known me, all of you should have known my Father also: and from henceforth all of you know him, and have seen him.

14:7 Ví baèng caùc ngöôi bieát ta, thì cuõng bieát Cha ta; vaø töø baây giôø caùc ngöôi bieát vaø ñaõ thaáy Ngaøi.

14:8 Philip says unto him, Lord, show us the Father, and it satisfies us.

14:8 Phi-líp thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, xin chæ Cha cho chuùng toâi, thì ñuû roài.

14:9 Jesus says unto him, Have I been so long time with you, and yet have you not known me, Philip? he that has seen me has seen the Father; and how says you then, Show us the Father?

14:9 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Hôõi Phi-líp, ta ôû cuøng caùc ngöôi ñaõ laâu thay, maø ngöôi chöa bieát ta! Ai ñaõ thaáy ta, töùc laø ñaõ thaáy Cha. Sao ngöôi laïi noùi raèng: Xin chæ Cha cho chuùng toâi?

14:10 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me? the (o. rhema) words that I speak unto you I speak not of myself: but the Father that dwells in me, he does the works.

14:10 Ngöôi haù khoâng tin raèng ta ôû trong Cha vaø Cha ôû trong ta, hay sao? Nhöõng lôøi ta noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi, chaúng phaûi ta töø noùi; aáy laø Cha ôû trong ta, chính Ngaøi laøm troïn vieäc rieâng cuûa Ngaøi.

14:11 Believe me that I am in the Father, and the Father in me: or else believe me for the very works' sake.

14:11 Khi ta noùi raèng ta ôû trong Cha vaø Cha ôû trong ta, thì haõy tin ta; baèng chaúng, haõy tin bôûi coâng vieäc ta.

14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believes on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.

14:12 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, keû naøo tin ta, cuõng seõ laøm vieäc ta laøm; laïi cuõng laøm vieäc lôùn hôn nöõa, vì ta ñi veà cuøng Cha.

14:13 And whatsoever all of you shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.

14:13 Caùc ngöôi nhôn danh ta maø caàu xin ñieàu chi maëc daàu, ta seõ laøm cho, ñeå Cha ñöôïc saùng danh nôi Con.

14:14 If all of you shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

14:14 Neáu caùc ngöôi nhôn danh ta xin ñieàu chi, ta seõ laøm cho.

14:15 If all of you love me, keep my commandments.

14:15 Neáu caùc ngöôi yeâu meán ta, thì giöõ gìn caùc ñieàu raên ta.

14:16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever;

14:16 Ta laïi seõ naøi xin Cha, Ngaøi seõ ban cho caùc ngöôi moät Ñaáng Yeân uûi khaùc, ñeå ôû vôùi caùc ngöôi ñôøi ñôøi,

14:17 Even the Spirit (o. pneuma) of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it sees him not, neither knows him: but all of you know him; for he dwells with you, and shall be in you.

14:17 töùc laø Thaàn leõ thaät, maø theá gian khoâng theå nhaän laõnh ñöôïc, vì chaúng thaáy vaø chaúng bieát Ngaøi; nhöng caùc ngöôi bieát Ngaøi, vì Ngaøi vaãn ôû vôùi caùc ngöôi vaø söï ôû trong caùc ngöôi.

14:18 I will not leave you comfortless: I will come to you.

14:18 Ta khoâng ñeå cho caùc ngöôi moà coâi ñaâu, ta seõ ñeán cuøng caùc ngöôi.

14:19 Yet a little while, and the world sees me no more; but all of you see me: because I live, all of you shall live also.

14:19 Coøn ít laâu, theá gian chaúng thaáy ta nöõa, nhöng caùc ngöôi seõ thaáy ta; vì ta soáng thì caùc ngöôi cuõng seõ soáng.

14:20 At that day all of you shall know that I am in my Father, and all of you in me, and I in you.

14:20 Noäi ngaøy ñoù, caùc ngöôi seõ nhaän bieát raèng ta ôû trong Cha ta; caùc ngöôi ôû trong ta, vaø ta ôû trong caùc ngöôi.

14:21 He that has my commandments, and keeps them, he it is that loves me: and he that loves me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

14:21 Ai coù caùc ñieàu raên cuûa ta vaø vaâng giöõ laáy, aáy laø keû yeâu meán ta; ngöôøi naøo yeâu meán ta seõ ñöôïc Cha ta yeâu laïi, ta cuõng seõ yeâu ngöôøi, vaø toû cho ngöôøi bieát ta.

14:22 Judas says unto him, not Iscariot, Lord, how is it that you will manifest yourself unto us, and not unto the world?

14:22 Giu-ñe, chôù khoâng phaûi laø Ích-ca-ri-oát, thöa Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, vì sao Chuùa seõ toû mình cho chuùng toâi, maø khoâng toû mình cho theá gian:

14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: (o. logos) and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.

14:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Neáu ai yeâu meán ta, thì vaâng giöõ lôøi ta, Cha ta seõ thöông yeâu ngöôøi, chuùng ta ñeàu ñeán cuøng ngöôøi vaø ôû trong ngöôøi.

14:24 He that loves me not keeps not my sayings: (o. logos) and the word (o. logos) which all of you hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent me.

14:24 Coøn keû naøo chaúng yeâu meán ta, thì khoâng vaâng giöõ lôøi ta; vaø lôøi caùc ngöôi nghe ñoù, chaúng phaûi bôûi ta, nhöng bôûi Cha, laø Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán.

14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.

14:25 Ta ñaõ noùi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù vôùi caùc ngöôi ñang khi ta coøn ôû cuøng caùc ngöôi.

14:26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

14:26 Nhöng Ñaáng Yeân uûi, töùc laø Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh maø Cha seõ nhôn danh ta sai xuoáng, Ñaáng aáy seõ daïy doã caùc ngöôi moïi söï, nhaéc laïi cho caùc ngöôi nhôù moïi ñieàu ta ñaõ phaùn cuøng caùc ngöôi.

14:27 Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world gives, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.

14:27 Ta ñeå söï bình an laïi cho caùc ngöôi; ta ban söï bình an ta cho caùc ngöôi; ta cho caùc ngöôi söï bình an chaúng phaûi nhö theá gian cho. Loøng caùc ngöôi chôù boái roái vaø ñöøng sôï haõi.

14:28 All of you have heard how I said unto you, I go away, and come again unto you. If all of you loved me, all of you would rejoice, because I said, I go unto the Father: for my Father is greater than I.

14:28 Caùc ngöôi töøng nghe ta noùi raèng: Ta ñi, vaø ta trôû laïi cuøng caùc ngöôi. Neáu caùc ngöôi yeâu meán ta, thì seõ vui möøng veà ñieàu ta ñi ñeán cuøng Cha, bôûi vì Cha toân troïng hôn ta.

14:29 And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it has come to pass, all of you might believe.

14:29 Hieän nay ta ñaõ noùi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù vôùi caùc ngöôi tröôùc khi xaûy ñeán, ñeå khi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù xaûy ñeán thì caùc ngöôi tin.

14:30 Hereafter I will not talk much with you: for the prince of this world comes, and has nothing in me.

14:30 Ta seõ chaúng noùi chi vôùi caùc ngöôi nöõa, vì vua chuùa theá gian naày haàu ñeán; ngöôøi chaúng coù chi heát nôi ta.

14:31 But that the world may know that I love the Father; and as the Father gave me commandment, even so I do. Arise, let us go behind.

14:31 Nhöng theá gian phaûi bieát raèng ta yeâu meán Cha, vaø laøm theo ñieàu Cha ñaõ phaùn daën. Haõy ñöùng daäy, chuùng ta phaûi ñi khoûi ñaây.

 Giang - John

15:1 I am the true vine, and my Father is the farmer.

15:1 Ta laø goác nho thaät, Cha ta laø ngöôøi troàng nho.

15:2 Every branch in me that bears not fruit he takes away: and every branch that bears fruit, he purges it, that it may bring forth more fruit.

15:2 Heã nhaùnh naøo trong ta maø khoâng keát quaû thì Ngaøi chaët heát; vaø Ngaøi tæa söûa nhöõng nhaùnh naøo keát quaû, ñeå ñöôïc sai traùi hôn.

15:3 Now all of you are clean through the word (o. logos) which I have spoken unto you.

15:3 Caùc ngöôi ñaõ ñöôïc trong saïch, vì lôøi ta ñaõ baûo cho.

15:4 Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can all of you, except all of you abide in me.

15:5 I am the vine, all of you are the branches: He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit: for without me all of you can do nothing.

15:6 If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned.

15:6 Neáu ai chaúng cöù trong ta thì phaûi neùm ra ngoaøi, cuõng nhö nhaùnh nho; nhaùnh khoâ ñi, ngöôøi ta löôïm laáy, quaêng vaøo löûa, thì noù chaùy.

15:7 If all of you abide in me, and my words (o. rhema) abide in you, all of you shall ask what all of you will, and it shall be done unto you.

15:7 Ví baèng caùc ngöôi cöù ôû trong ta, vaø nhöõng lôøi ta ôû trong caùc ngöôi, haõy caàu xin moïi ñieàu mình muoán, thì seõ ñöôïc ñieàu ñoù.

15:8 Herein is my Father glorified, that all of you bear much fruit; so shall all of you be my disciples.

15:8 Naày, Cha ta seõ ñöôïc saùng danh laø theå naøo: aáy laø caùc ngöôi ñöôïc keát nhieàu quaû, thì seõ laøm moân ñoà cuûa ta vaäy.

15:9 As the Father has loved me, so have I loved you: continue all of you in my love. (o. agape)

15:9 Nhö Cha ñaõ yeâu thöông ta theå naøo, ta cuõng yeâu thöông caùc ngöôi theå aáy; haõy cöù ôû trong söï yeâu thöông cuûa ta.

15:10 If all of you keep my commandments, all of you shall abide in my love; (o. agape) even as I have kept my Father's commandments, and abide in his love. (o. agape)

15:10 Neáu caùc ngöôi vaâng giöõ caùc ñieàu raên cuûa ta, thì seõ ôû trong söï yeâu thöông ta, cuõng nhö chính ta ñaõ vaâng giöõ caùc ñieàu raên cuûa Cha ta, vaø cöù ôû trong söï yeâu thöông Ngaøi.

15:11 These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.

15:11 Ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù, haàu cho söï vui möøng cuûa ta trong caùc ngöôi, vaø söï vui möøng caùc ngöôi ñöôïc troïn veïn.

15:12 This is my commandment, That all of you love one another, as I have loved you.

15:12 Ñieàu raên cuûa ta ñaây naày: Caùc ngöôi haõy yeâu nhau, cuõng nhö ta ñaõ yeâu caùc ngöôi.

15:13 Greater love (o. agape) has no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

15:13 Chaúng coù söï yeâu thöông naøo lôùn hôn laø vì baïn höõu maø phoù söï soáng mình.

15:14 All of you are my friends, if all of you do whatsoever I command you.

15:14 Ví thöû caùc ngöôi laøm theo ñieàu ta daïy, thì caùc ngöôi laø baïn höõu ta.

15:15 Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knows not what his lord does: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you.

15:15 Ta chaúng goïi caùc ngöôi laø ñaày tôù nöõa, vì ñaày tôù chaúng bieát ñieàu chuû mình laøm nhöng ta ñaõ goïi caùc ngöôi laø baïn höõu ta, vì ta töøng toû cho caùc ngöôi bieát moïi ñieàu ta ñaõ nghe nôi Cha ta.

15:16 All of you have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that all of you should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever all of you shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

15:16 Aáy chaúng phaûi caùc ngöôi ñaõ choïn ta, beøn laø ta ñaõ choïn vaø laäp caùc ngöôi, ñeå caùc ngöôi ñi vaø keát quaû, haàu cho traùi caùc ngöôi thöôøng ñaäu luoân: laïi cuõng cho moïi ñieàu caùc ngöôi seõ nhôn danh ta caàu xin Cha, thì Ngaøi ban cho caùc ngöôi.

15:17 These things I command you, that all of you love one another.

15:17 Ta truyeàn cho caùc ngöôi nhöõng ñieàu raên ñoù, ñaëng caùc ngöôi yeâu meán laãn nhau vaäy.

15:18 If the world hate you, all of you know that it hated me before it hated you.

15:18 Ví baèng ngöôøi ñôøi gheùt caùc ngöôi, thì haõy bieát raèng hoï ñaõ gheùt ta tröôùc caùc ngöôi.

15:19 If all of you were of the world, the world would love his own: but because all of you are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

15:19 Neáu caùc ngöôi thuoäc veà theá gian, thì ngöôøi ñôøi seõ yeâu keû thuoäc veà mình; nhöng vì caùc ngöôi khoâng thuoäc veà theá gian vaø ta ñaõ löïa choïn caùc ngöôi giöõa theá gian, bôûi côù ñoù ngöôøi ñôøi gheùt caùc ngöôi.

15:20 Remember the word (o. logos) that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, (o. logos) they will keep yours also.

15:20 Haõy nhôù lôøi ta ñaõ noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi: Ñaày tôù chaúng lôùn hôn chuû mình. Neáu hoï ñaõ baét bôù ta, aét cuõng baét bôù caùc ngöôi; baèng hoï ñaõ giöõ lôøi ta, aét cuõng giöõ lôøi caùc ngöôi.

15:21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

15:21 Nhöng vì danh ta hoï seõ laáy moïi ñieàu ñoù ñaõi caùc ngöôi, bôûi hoï khoâng bieát Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán.

15:22 If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.

15:22 Neáu ta khoâng ñeán vaø khoâng phaùn daïy hoï, thì hoï chaúng coù toäi loãi gì; song baây giôø hoï khoâng coù theå chöõa choái ñöôïc toäi loãi mình.

15:23 He that hates me hates my Father also.

15:23 Keû naøo gheùt ta cuõng gheùt Cha ta nöõa.

15:24 If I had not done among them the works which no other man did, they had not had sin: but now have they both seen and hated both me and my Father.

15:24 Ví thöû ta khoâng laøm giöõa hoï nhöõng vieäc maø chöa coù ngöôøi khaùc laøm, thì hoï voâ toäi, nhöng baây giôø hoï ñaõ thaáy caùc vieäc aáy, vaø laïi gheùt ta cuøng Cha ta.

15:25 But this comes to pass, that the word (o. logos) might be fulfilled that is written in their law, They hated me without a cause.

15:25 Döôøng aáy, ñeå cho öùng nghieäm lôøi ñaõ cheùp trong luaät phaùp hoï raèng: Hoï gheùt ta voâ côù.

15:26 But when the Comforter has come, whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit (o. pneuma) of truth, which proceeds from the Father, he shall testify of me:

15:26 Khi naøo Ñaáng Yeân uûi seõ ñeán, laø Ñaáng ta seõ bôûi Cha sai xuoáng, töùc laø Thaàn leõ thaät ra töø Cha, aáy chính Ngaøi seõ laøm chöùng veà ta.

15:27 And all of you also shall bear witness, because all of you have been with me from the beginning.

15:27 Coøn caùc ngöôi cuõng seõ laøm chöùng veà ta, vì caùc ngöôi ñaõ ôû cuøng ta töø luùc ban ñaàu vaäy.

 Giang - John

16:1 These things have I spoken unto you, that all of you should not be offended.

16:1 Ta baûo caùc ngöôi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù, ñeå cho caùc ngöôi khoûi vaáp phaïm.

16:2 They shall put you out of the synagogues: yea, the time comes, that whosoever kills you will think that he does God service.

16:2 Hoï seõ ñuoåi caùc ngöôi ra khoûi nhaø hoäi; vaû laïi, giôø ñeán, khi ai gieát caùc ngöôi, töôûng raèng theá laø haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

16:3 And these things will they do unto you, because they have not known the Father, nor me.

16:3 Hoï seõ laøm ñieàu ñoù, vì khoâng bieát Cha, cuõng khoâng bieát ta nöõa.

16:4 But these things have I told you, that when the time shall come, all of you may remember that I told you of them. And these things I said not unto you at the beginning, because I was with you.

16:4 Nhöng ta ñaõ baûo nhöõng ñieàu ñoù cho caùc ngöôi, ñeå khi giôø seõ ñeán, caùc ngöôi nhôù laïi raèng ta ñaõ noùi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù roài. Töø luùc ban ñaàu ta chöa noùi cho caùc ngöôi, vì ta ñöông ôû cuøng caùc ngöôi.

16:5 But now I go my way to him that sent me; and none of you asks me, Where go you?

16:5 Hieän nay ta veà cuøng Ñaáng ñaõ sai ta ñeán, vaø trong caùc ngöôi chaúng moät ai hoûi ta raèng: Thaày ñi ñaâu?

16:6 But because I have said these things unto you, sorrow has filled your heart.

16:6 Nhöng vì ta ñaõ noùi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù cho caùc ngöôi, thì loøng caùc ngöôi chöùa chan söï phieàn naõo.

16:7 Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.

16:7 Daàu vaäy, ta noùi thaät cuøng caùc ngöôi: Ta ñi laø ích lôïi cho caùc ngöôi; vì neáu ta khoâng ñi, Ñaáng Yeân uûi seõ khoâng ñeán cuøng caùc ngöôi ñaâu; song neáu ta ñi, thì ta seõ sai Ngaøi ñeán.

16:8 And when he has come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment:

16:8 Khi Ngaøi ñeán thì seõ khieán theá gian töï caùo veà toäi loãi, veà söï coâng bình vaø veà söï phaùn xeùt.

16:9 Of sin, because they believe not on me;

16:9 Veà toäi loãi, vì hoï khoâng tin ta;

16:10 Of righteousness, because I go to my Father, and all of you see me no more;

16:10 veà söï coâng bình, vì ta ñi ñeán cuøng Cha vaø caùc ngöôi chaúng thaáy ta nöõa;

16:11 Of judgment, because the prince of this world is judged.

16:11 veà söï phaùn xeùt, vì vua chuùa theá gian naày ñaõ bò ñoaùn xeùt.

16:12 I have yet many things to say unto you, but all of you cannot bear them now.

16:12 Ta coøn coù nhieàu chuyeän noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi nöõa; nhöng baây giôø nhöõng ñieàu ñoù cao quaù söùc caùc ngöôi.

16:13 Nevertheless when he, the Spirit (o. pneuma) of truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will show you things to come.

16:13 Luùc naøo Thaàn leõ thaät seõ ñeán, thì Ngaøi daãn caùc ngöôi vaøo moïi leõ thaät; vì Ngaøi khoâng noùi töï mình, nhöng noùi moïi ñieàu mình ñaõ nghe, vaø toû baøy cho caùc ngöôi nhöõng söï seõ ñeán.

16:14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall show it unto you.

16:14 Aáy chính Ngaøi seõ laøm saùng danh ta, vì Ngaøi seõ laáy ñieàu thuoäc veà ta maø rao baûo cho caùc ngöôi.

16:15 All things that the Father has are mine: therefore said I, that he shall take of mine, and shall show it unto you.

16:15 Moïi söï Cha coù, ñieàu laø cuûa ta; neân ta noùi raèng Ngaøi seõ laáy ñieàu thuoäc veà ta maø rao baûo cho caùc ngöôi vaäy.

16:16 A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me, because I go to the Father.

16:16 Coøn ít laâu caùc ngöôi seõ chaúng thaáy ta; roài ít laâu nöõa caùc ngöôi laïi thaáy ta, vì ta ñi veà cuøng Cha.

16:17 Then said some of his disciples among themselves, What is this that he says unto us, A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me: and, Because I go to the Father?

16:17 Baáy giôø, moät vaøi moân ñoà noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Ngaøi daïy: Coøn ít laâu caùc ngöôi seõ chaúng thaáy ta; roài ít laâu nöõa caùc ngöôi laïi thaáy ta; vaø raèng: Vì ta veà cuøng Cha; theá laø laøm sao?

16:18 They said therefore, What is this that he says, A little while? we cannot tell what he says.

16:18 Vaäy, moân ñoà noùi raèng: Ngaøi noùi: Ít laâu, laø nghóa gì? Chuùng ta khoâng hieåu Ngaøi noùi veà vieäc chi.

16:19 Now Jesus knew that they were desirous to ask him, and said unto them, Do all of you enquire among yourselves of that I said, A little while, and all of you shall not see me: and again, a little while, and all of you shall see me?

16:19 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hieåu yù moân ñoà muoán hoûi, beøn phaùn raèng: Ta vöøa noùi: Coøn ít laâu caùc ngöôi seõ chaúng thaáy ta; roài ít laâu nöõa caùc ngöôi laïi thaáy ta; caùc ngöôi ñöông hoûi nhau veà nghóa caâu aáy ñoù chi.

16:20 Verily, verily, I say unto you, That all of you shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and all of you shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.

16:20 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, caùc ngöôi seõ khoùc loùc, than vaõn, coøn ngöôøi ñôøi seõ möøng rôõ; caùc ngöôi seõ ôû trong söï lo buoàn, nhöng söï lo buoàn caùc ngöôi seõ ñoåi laøm vui veû.

16:21 A woman when she is in travail has sorrow, because her hour has come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembers no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.

16:21 Ngöôøi ñôøn baø, luùc sanh ñeû thì ñau ñôùn, vì giôø mình ñeán roài; song khi ñöùa con ñaõ loït loøng, ngöôøi khoâng coøn nhôù söï khoán khoå mình nöõa, möøng raèng mình ñaõ sanh ra moät ngöôøi trong theá gian.

16:22 And all of you now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man takes from you.

16:22 Khaùc naøo nhö caùc ngöôi hieän ôû trong côn ñau ñôùn, nhöng ta seõ laïi thaáy caùc ngöôi, thì loøng caùc ngöôi vui möøng, vaø chaúng ai cöôùp laáy söï vui möøng caùc ngöôi ñöôïc.

16:23 And in that day all of you shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever all of you shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.

16:23 Trong ngaøy ñoù, caùc ngöôi khoâng coøn hoûi ta veà ñieàu chi nöõa. Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi, ñieàu chi caùc ngöôi seõ caàu xin nôi Cha, thì Ngaøi seõ nhôn danh ta maø ban cho caùc ngöôi.

16:24 Until now have all of you asked nothing in my name: ask, and all of you shall receive, that your joy may be full.

16:24 Ñeán baây giôø, caùc ngöôi chöa töøng nhôn danh ta maø caàu xin ñieàu chi heát. Haõy caàu xin ñi, caùc ngöôi seõ ñöôïc, haàu cho söï vui möøng caùc ngöôi ñöôïc troïn veïn.

16:25 These things have I spoken unto you in proverbs: but the time comes, when I shall no more speak unto you in proverbs, but I shall show you plainly of the Father.

16:25 Ta ñaõ duøng ví duï maø noùi cho caùc ngöôi moïi ñieàu ñoù. Giôø ñeán, laø khi ta chaúng coøn duøng ví duï maø noùi cuøng caùc ngöôi nöõa, nhöng khi aáy ta seõ noùi roõ raøng veà Cha cho caùc ngöôi.

16:26 At that day all of you shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you:

16:26 Trong ngaøy ñoù, caùc ngöôi seõ nhôn danh ta maø caàu xin, ta chaúng noùi raèng ta vì caùc ngöôi seõ caàu xin Cha ñaâu;

16:27 For the Father himself loves you, because all of you have loved me, and have believed that I came out from God.

16:27 vì chính Cha yeâu thöông caùc ngöôi, nhôn caùc ngöôi ñaõ yeâu meán ta, vaø tin raèng ta töø nôi Cha maø ñeán.

16:28 I came forth from the Father, and am come into the world: again, I leave the world, and go to the Father.

16:28 Ta ra töø Cha maø ñeán theá gian; nay ta lìa boû theá gian maø veà cuøng Cha.

16:29 His disciples said unto him, Lo, now speak you plainly, and speak no proverb.

16:29 Caùc moân ñoà thöa raèng: Baây giôø thaày phaùn roõ raøng, vaø khoâng phaùn baèng lôøi ví duï.

16:30 Now are we sure that you know all things, and need not that any man should ask you: by this we believe that you came forth from God.

16:30 Baây giôø chuùng toâi bieát thaày thoâng bieát moïi ñieàu, khoâng caàn phaûi coù ai hoûi thaày; bôûi ñoù neân chuùng toâi tin thaày ra töø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

16:31 Jesus answered them, Do all of you now believe?

16:31 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Baây giôø caùc ngöôi tin chaêng?

16:32 Behold, the hour comes, yea, is now come, that all of you shall be scattered, every man to his own, and shall leave me alone: and yet I am not alone, because the Father is with me.

16:32 Naày, giôø ñeán, ñaõ ñeán roài, laø khi caùc ngöôi seõ taûn laïc, ai ñi ñöôøng naáy, vaø ñeå ta laïi moät mình; nhöng ta khoâng ôû moät mình, vì Cha ôû cuøng ta.

16:33 These things I have spoken unto you, that in me all of you might have peace. In the world all of you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.

16:33 Ta ñaõ baûo caùc ngöôi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù, haàu cho caùc ngöôi coù loøng bình yeân trong ta. Caùc ngöôi seõ coù söï hoaïn naïn trong theá gian, nhöng haõy cöù vöõng loøng, ta ñaõ thaéng theá gian roài!

17:1 These words spoke Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour has come; glorify your Son, that your Son also may glorify you:

17:1 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn nhö vaäy, ñoaïn, ngöôùc maét leân trôøi maø raèng: Thöa Cha, giôø ñaõ ñeán; xin laøm vinh hieån Con, haàu cho Con cuõng laøm vinh hieån Cha,

17:2 As you have given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as you have given him.

17:2 vaø nhôn quyeàn pheùp Cha ñaõ ban cho Con cai trò loaøi xaùc thòt, Con ñöôïc ban söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi cho nhöõng keû maø Cha ñaõ giao phoù cho Con.

17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know you the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.

17:3 Vaû, söï soáng ñôøi ñôøi laø nhìn bieát Cha, töùc laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù moät vaø thaät, cuøng Jeâsus Christ, laø Ñaáng Cha ñaõ sai ñeán.

17:4 I have glorified you on the earth: I have finished the work which you gave me to do.

17:4 Con ñaõ toân vinh Cha treân ñaát, laøm xong coâng vieäc Cha giao cho laøm.

17:5 And now, O Father, glorify you me with yours own self with the glory which I had with you before the world was.

17:5 Cha oâi! baây giôø xin laáy söï vinh hieån Con voán coù nôi Cha tröôùc khi chöa coù theá gian maø laøm vinh hieån Con nôi chính mình Cha.

17:6 I have manifested your name unto the men which you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them me; and they have kept your word. (o. logos)

17:6 Con ñaõ toû danh Cha ra cho nhöõng ngöôøi Cha giao cho Con töø giöõa theá gian; hoï voán thuoäc veà Cha, Cha giao hoï cho Con, vaø hoï ñaõ giöõ lôøi Cha.

17:7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever you have given me are of you.

17:7 Hieän nay hoï ñaõ bieát raèng moïi söï Cha ñaõ giao cho Con ñeàu laø töø Cha maø ñeán.

17:8 For I have given unto them the words (o. rhema) which you gave me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from you, and they have believed that you did send me.

17:8 Vì Con ñaõ truyeàn cho hoï nhöõng lôøi Cha ñaõ truyeàn cho Con, vaø hoï ñaõ nhaän laáy; nhìn bieát quaû thaät raèng Con ñeán töø nôi Cha, vaø tin raèng aáy laø Cha sai Con ñeán.

17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which you have given me; for they are yours.

17:9 Con vì hoï maø caàu nguyeän; chaúng phaûi vì theá gian maø caàu nguyeän, nhöng vì keû Cha ñaõ giao cho Con, bôûi chöng hoï thuoäc veà Cha.

17:10 And all mine are yours, and yours are mine; and I am glorified in them.

17:10 Phaøm moïi ñieàu thuoäc veà Con töùc laø thuoäc veà Cha, moïi ñieàu thuoäc veà Cha töùc laø thuoäc veà Con, vaø Con nhôn hoï ñöôïc toân vinh.

17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you. Holy Father, keep through yours own name those whom you have given me, that they may be one, as we are.

17:11 Con khoâng ôû theá gian nöõa, nhöng hoï coøn ôû theá gian, vaø Con veà cuøng Cha. Laïy Cha thaùnh, xin gìn giöõ hoï trong danh Cha, laø danh Cha ñaõ ban cho Con, ñeå hoï cuõng hieäp laøm moät nhö chuùng ta vaäy.

17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in your name: those that you gave me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.

17:12 Ñang khi Con coøn ôû vôùi hoï, Con gìn giöõ hoï, tröø ñöùa con cuûa söï hö maát ra, thì trong ñaùm hoï khoâng moät ngöôøi naøo bò thaát laïc, haàu cho lôøi Kinh Thaùnh ñöôïc öùng nghieäm.

17:13 And now come I to you; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.

17:13 Nhöng baây giôø Con veà cuøng Cha, vaø ñöông khi coøn ôû theá gian, Con noùi nhöõng ñieàu ñoù, haàu cho trong loøng hoï ñöôïc ñaày daãy söï vui möøng cuûa Con.

17:14 I have given them your word; (o. logos) and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:14 Con ñaõ truyeàn lôøi Cha cho hoï, vaø theá gian ghen gheùt hoï, vì hoï khoâng thuoäc veà theá gian, cuõng nhö Con khoâng thuoäc veà theá gian vaäy.

17:15 I pray not that you should take them out of the world, but that you should keep them from the evil.

17:15 Con chaúng caàu Cha caát hoï khoûi theá gian, nhöng xin Cha gìn giöõ hoï cho khoûi ñieàu aùc.

17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

17:16 Hoï khoâng thuoäc veà theá gian, cuõng nhö Con khoâng thuoäc veà theá gian.

17:17 Sanctify them through your truth: your word (o. logos) is truth.

17:17 Xin Cha laáy leõ thaät khieán hoï neân thaùnh; lôøi Cha töùc laø leõ thaät.

17:18 As you have sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.

17:18 Nhö Cha ñaõ sai Con trong theá gian, thì Con cuõng sai hoï trong theá gian.

17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.

17:19 Con vì hoï töï laøm neân thaùnh, haàu cho hoï cuõng nhôø leõ thaät maø ñöôïc neân thaùnh vaäy.

17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; (o. logos)

17:20 Aáy chaúng nhöõng vì hoï maø Con caàu xin thoâi ñaâu, nhöng cuõng vì keû seõ nghe lôøi hoï maø tin ñeán Con nöõa,

17:21 That they all may be one; as you, Father, are in me, and I in you, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that you have sent me.

17:21 ñeå cho ai naáy hieäp laøm moät, nhö Cha ôû trong Con, vaø Con ôû trong Cha; laïi ñeå cho hoï cuõng ôû trong chuùng ta, ñaëng theá gian tin raèng chính Cha ñaõ sai Con ñeán.

17:22 And the glory which you gave me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:

17:22 Con ñaõ ban cho hoï söï vinh hieån maø Cha ñaõ ban cho Con, ñeå hieäp laøm moät cuõng nhö chuùng ta vaãn laø moät:

17:23 I in them, and you in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that you have sent me, and have loved them, as you have loved me.

17:23 Con ôû trong hoï vaø Cha ôû trong Con, ñeå cho hoï toaøn veïn hieäp laøm moät, vaø cho theá gian bieát chính Cha ñaõ sai Con ñeán, vaø Cha ñaõ yeâu thöông Con.

17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom you have given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which you have given me: for you loved me before the foundation of the world.

17:24 Cha oâi, Con muoán Con ôû ñaâu thì nhöõng keû Cha ñaõ giao cho Con cuõng ôû ñoù vôùi Con, ñeå hoï ngaém xem söï vinh hieån cuûa Con, laø vinh hieån Cha ñaõ ban cho Con, vì Cha ñaõ yeâu Con tröôùc khi saùng theá.

17:25 O righteous Father, the world has not known you: but I have known you, and these have known that you have sent me.

17:25 Hôõi Cha coâng bình, theá gian chaúng töøng nhaän bieát Cha; song Con ñaõ nhaän bieát Cha, vaø nhöõng keû naày nhaän raèng chính Cha ñaõ sai Con ñeán.

17:26 And I have declared unto them your name, and will declare it: that the love (o. agape) wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them.

 Giang - John

18:1 When Jesus had spoken these words, he went forth with his disciples over the brook Cedron, where was a garden, into the which he entered, and his disciples.

18:1 Sau khi phaùn nhöõng ñieàu aáy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi vôùi moân ñoà mình sang beân kia khe Xeát-roân; taïi ñoù coù moät caùi vöôøn, Ngaøi beøn vaøo, moân ñoà cuõng vaäy.

18:2 And Judas also, which betrayed him, knew the place: for Jesus frequently resorted thither with his disciples.

18:2 Vaû, Giu-ña laø keû phaûn Ngaøi, cuõng bieát choã naày, vì Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thöôøng cuøng moân ñoà nhoùm hoïp taïi ñoù.

18:3 Judas then, having received a band of men and officers from the chief priests and Pharisees, comes thither with lanterns and torches and weapons.

18:3 Vaäy, Giu-ña laõnh moät cô binh cuøng nhöõng keû bôûi caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø ngöôøi Pha-ri-si sai ñeán, caàm ñeøn ñuoác khí giôùi vaøo nôi ñoù.

18:4 Jesus therefore, knowing all things that should come upon him, went forth, and said unto them, Whom seek all of you?

18:4 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát moïi ñieàu seõ xaûy ñeán cho mình, beøn böôùc tôùi maø hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi tìm ai?

18:5 They answered him, Jesus of Nazareth. Jesus says unto them, I am he. And Judas also, which betrayed him, stood with them.

18:5 Chuùng traû lôøi raèng: Tìm Jeâsus ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Chính ta ñaây! Giu-ña laø keû phaûn Ngaøi cuõng ñöùng ñoù vôùi hoï.

18:6 As soon then as he had said unto them, I am he, they went backward, and fell to the ground.

18:6 Vöøa khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn: Chính ta ñaây, chuùng beøn thoái lui vaø teù xuoáng ñaát.

18:7 Then asked he them again, Whom seek all of you? And they said, Jesus of Nazareth.

18:7 Ngaøi laïi hoûi moät laàn nöõa: Caùc ngöôi tìm ai? Chuùng traû lôøi raèng: Tìm Jeâsus ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt.

18:8 Jesus answered, I have told you that I am he: if therefore all of you seek me, let these go their way:

18:8 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi phaùn: Ta ñaõ noùi vôùi caùc ngöôi raèng chính ta ñaây; vaäy neáu caùc ngöôi tìm baét ta, thì haõy ñeå cho nhöõng keû naày ñi.

18:9 That the saying (o. logos) might be fulfilled, which he spoke, Of them which you gave me have I lost none.

18:9 Aáy ñeå ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn: Con chaúng laøm maát moät ngöôøi naøo trong nhöõng keû maø Cha ñaõ giao cho Con.

18:10 Then Simon Peter having a sword drew it, and stroke the high priest's servant, and cut off his right ear. The servant's name was Malchus.

18:10 Baáy giôø, Si-moân Phi -e-rô coù moät thanh göôm, beøn ruùt ra, ñaùnh ñaày tôù cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, cheùm ñöùt tai beân höõu. Ñaày tôù ñoù teân laø Man-chu.

18:11 Then said Jesus unto Peter, Put up your sword into the sheath: the cup which my Father has given me, shall I not drink it?

18:11 Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: Haõy naïp göôm ngöôi vaøo voû; ta haù chaúng uoáng cheùn maø Cha ñaõ ban cho ta uoáng sao?

18:12 Then the band and the captain and officers of the Jews took Jesus, and bound him,

18:12 Baáy giôø, caû cô binh, ngöôøi quaûn cô vaø nhöõng keû sai cuûa daân Giu-ña baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus troùi laïi.

18:13 And led him away to Annas first; for he was father in law to Caiaphas, which was the high priest that same year.

18:13 Tröôùc heát chuùng giaûi Ngaøi ñeán An-ne; vì ngöôøi naày laø oâng gia Cai-phe laøm thaày caû thöôïng phaåm ñöông nieân.

18:14 Now Caiaphas was he, which gave counsel to the Jews, that it was expedient that one man should die for the people.

18:14 Vaû, Cai-phe laø ngöôøi ñaõ baøn vôùi daân Giu-ña raèng: Thaø moät ngöôøi cheát vì daân thì ích hôn.

18:15 And Simon Peter followed Jesus, and so did another disciple: that disciple was known unto the high priest, and went in with Jesus into the palace of the high priest.

18:16 But Peter stood at the door without. Then went out that other disciple, which was known unto the high priest, and spoke unto her that kept the door, and brought in Peter.

18:16 Song Phi -e-rô ñöùng ngoaøi, gaàn beân cöûa, Moân ñoà kia, töùc laø ngöôøi quen vôùi thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, ñi ra noùi cuøng ngöôøi ñôøn baø canh cöûa, roài ñem Phi -e-rô vaøo.

18:17 Then says the damsel that kept the door unto Peter, Are not you also one of this man's disciples? He says, I am not.

18:17 Baáy giôø, con ñoøi ñoù, töùc laø ngöôøi canh cöûa, noùi cuøng Phi -e-rô raèng: Coøn ngöôi, cuõng laø moân ñoà cuûa ngöôøi ñoù, phaûi chaêng? Ngöôøi traû lôøi raèng: Ta chaúng phaûi.

18:18 And the servants and officers stood there, who had made a fire of coals; for it was cold: and they warmed themselves: and Peter stood with them, and warmed himself.

18:18 Caùc ñaày tôù vaø keû sai vì trôøi laïnh nhuùm moät ñoáng löûa, roài ñöùng gaàn moät beân maø söôûi. Phi -e-rô ñöùng vôùi hoï, vaø cuõng söôûi.

18:19 The high priest then asked Jesus of his disciples, and of his doctrine.

18:19 Vaäy, thaày caû thöôïng phaåm gaïn hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus veà moân ñoà Ngaøi vaø ñaïo giaùo Ngaøi.

18:20 Jesus answered him, I spoke openly to the world; I ever taught in the synagogue, and in the temple, where the Jews always resort; and in secret have I said nothing.

18:20 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ta töøng noùi roõ raøng cuøng thieân haï; ta thöôøng daïy doã trong nhaø hoäi vaø ñeàn thôø, laø nôi heát thaûy daân Giu-ña nhoùm laïi, chôù ta chaúng töøng noùi kín giaáu ñieàu gì.

18:21 Why ask you me? ask them which heard me, what I have said unto them: behold, they know what I said.

18:21 Côù sao ngöôi gaïn hoûi ta? Haõy hoûi nhöõng keû ñaõ nghe ta noùi ñieàu chi vôùi hoï; nhöõng keû ñoù bieát ñieàu ta ñaõ noùi.

18:22 And when he had thus spoken, one of the officers which stood by struck Jesus with the palm of his hand, saying, Answer you the high priest so?

18:22 Ngaøi ñöông phaùn nhö vaäy, coù moät ngöôøi trong nhöõng keû sai coù maët taïi ñoù, cho Ngaøi moät vaû, maø raèng: Ngöôi daùm ñoái ñaùp cuøng thaày caû thöôïng phaåm döôøng aáy sao?

18:23 Jesus answered him, If I have spoken evil, bear witness of the evil: but if well, why smite you me?

18:23 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ví thöû ta noùi quaáy, haõy chæ choã quaáy cho ta xem; nhöôïc baèng ta noùi phaûi, laøm sao ngöôi ñaùnh ta?

18:24 Now Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

18:24 An-ne beøn sai giaûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaãn bò troùi ñeán Cai-phe laø thaày caû thöôïng phaåm.

18:25 And Simon Peter stood and warmed himself. They said therefore unto him, Are not you also one of his disciples? He denied it, and said, I am not.

18:25 Vaû laïi, Si-moân Phi -e-rô ñöông ñöùng söôûi ñaèng kia, thì coù keû hoûi ngöôøi raèng: Coøn ngöôi, ngöôi cuõng laø moân ñoà ngöôøi phaûi khoâng? Ngöôøi choái ñi maø traû lôøi raèng: Ta khoâng phaûi.

18:26 One of the servants of the high priest, being his kinsman whose ear Peter cut off, says, Did not I see you in the garden with him?

18:26 Moät ngöôøi ñaày tôù cuûa thaày caû thöôïng phaåm, baø con vôùi ngöôøi maø Phi -e-rô cheùm ñöùt tai, noùi raèng: Ta haù chaúng töøng thaáy ngöôøi ôû trong vöôøn vôùi ngöôøi sao?

18:27 Peter then denied again: and immediately the cock crew.

18:27 Phi -e-rô laïi choái moät laàn nöõa; töùc thì gaø gaùy.

18:28 Then led they Jesus from Caiaphas unto the hall of judgment: and it was early; and they themselves went not into the judgment hall, lest they should be defiled; but that they might eat the passover.

18:28 Keá ñoù, chuùng ñieäu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus töø nhaø Cai-phe ñeán tröôøng aùn; baáy giôø ñöông sôùm mai. Nhöng chính mình chuùng khoâng vaøo nôi tröôøng aùn, cho khoûi bò oâ ueá, vaø cho ñöôïc aên leã Vöôït Qua.

18:29 Pilate then went out unto them, and said, What accusation bring all of you against this man?

18:29 Vaäy, Phi-laùt böôùc ra, ñi ñeán cuøng chuùng maø hoûi raèng: Caùc ngöôi kieän ngöôøi naày veà khoaûn gì?

18:30 They answered and said unto him, If he were not a villain, we would not have delivered him up unto you.

18:30 Thöa raèng: Ví chaúng phaûi laø tay gian aùc, chuùng toâi khoâng noäp cho quan.

18:31 Then said Pilate unto them, Take all of you him, and judge him according to your law. The Jews therefore said unto him, It is not lawful for us to put any man to death:

18:31 Phi-laùt beøn truyeàn cho chuùng raèng: Caùc ngöôi haõy töï baét laáy ngöôøi, vaø xöû theo luaät mình. Ngöôøi Giu-ña thöa raèng: Chuùng toâi chaúng coù pheùp gieát ai caû.

18:32 That the saying (o. logos) of Jesus might be fulfilled, which he spoke, signifying what death he should die.

18:32 Aáy laø cho ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ phaùn, ñeå chæ veà mình phaûi cheát caùch naøo.

18:33 Then Pilate entered into the judgment hall again, and called Jesus, and said unto him, Are you the King of the Jews?

18:33 Phi-laùt beøn vaøo tröôøng aùn, truyeàn ñem Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán, maø hoûi raèng: Chính ngöôi laø Vua daân Giu-ña phaûi chaêng?

18:34 Jesus answered him, Says you this thing of yourself, or did others tell it you of me?

18:34 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Ngöôi noùi ñieàu ñoù töï yù mình, hay laø coù ngöôøi ñaõ noùi ñieàu ñoù vôùi ngöôi veà ta?

18:35 Pilate answered, Am I a Jew? Yours own nation and the chief priests have delivered you unto me: what have you done?

18:35 Phi-laùt traû lôøi raèng: Naøo coù phaûi ta laø ngöôøi Giu-ña ñaâu? Daân ngöôi cuøng maáy thaày teá leã caû ñaõ noäp ngöôi cho ta; vaäy ngöôi ñaõ laøm ñieàu gì?

18:36 Jesus answered, My kingdom is not of this world: if my kingdom were of this world, then would my servants fight, that I should not be delivered to the Jews: but now is my kingdom not from behind.

18:36 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp laïi raèng: Nöôùc cuûa ta chaúng phaûi thuoäc veà theá gian naày. Ví baèng nöôùc ta thuoäc veà theá gian naày, thì toâi tôù cuûa ta seõ ñaùnh traän, ñaëng ta khoûi phaûi noäp cho daân Giu-ña; nhöng hieän nay nöôùc ta chaúng thuoäc veà haï giôùi.

18:37 Pilate therefore said unto him, Are you a king then? Jesus answered, You says that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth hears my voice.

18:37 Phi-laùt beøn noùi raèng: Theá thì ngöôi laø vua sao? Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Thaät nhö lôøi, ta laø vua. Naày, vì sao ta ñaõ sanh vaø vì sao ta ñaõ giaùng theá: aáy laø ñeå laøm chöùng cho leõ thaät. Heã ai thuoäc veà leõ thaät thì nghe laáy tieáng ta.

18:38 Pilate says unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and says unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

18:38 Phi-laùt hoûi raèng: Leõ thaät laø caùi gì? Khi ngöôøi ñaõ hoûi vaäy roài laïi ñi ra ñeán cuøng daân Giu-ña, maø raèng: Ta chaúng thaáy ngöôøi coù toäi loãi gì caû.

18:39 But all of you have a custom, that I should release unto you one at the passover: will all of you therefore that I release unto you the King of the Jews?

18:39 Nhöng caùc ngöôi coù leä thöôøng, heã ñeán ngaøy leã Vöôït Qua, thì ta tha cho caùc ngöôi moät teân tuø, vaäy caùc ngöôi coù muoán ta tha Vua daân Giu-ña cho chaêng?

18:40 Then cried they all again, saying, Not this man, but Barabbas. Now Barabbas was a robber.

18:40 Chuùng beøn keâu leân nöõa raèng: Ñöøng tha noù, nhöng tha Ba-ra-ba! Vaû, Ba-ra-ba laø moät keû troäm cöôùp.

 Giang - John

19:1 Then Pilate therefore took Jesus, and scourged him.

19:1 Baáy giôø, Phi-laùt baét Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaø sai ñaùnh ñoøn Ngaøi.

19:2 And the soldiers intertwined a crown of thorns, and put it on his head, and they put on him a purple robe,

19:2 Boïn lính ñöông moät caùi maõo trieàu baèng gai, ñoäi treân ñaàu Ngaøi, vaø maëc cho Ngaøi moät caùi aùo ñieàu.

19:3 And said, Hail, King of the Jews! and they stroke him with their hands.

19:3 Ñoaïn, hoï ñeán gaàn, noùi vôùi Ngaøi raèng: Laïy Vua daân Giu-ña! Hoï laïi cho Ngaøi maáy caùi vaû.

19:4 Pilate therefore went forth again, and says unto them, Behold, I bring him forth to you, that all of you may know that I find no fault in him.

19:4 Phi-laùt ra moät laàn nöõa, maø noùi vôùi chuùng raèng: Ñaây naày, ta daãn ngöôøi ra ngoaøi, ñeå caùc ngöôi bieát raèng ta khoâng tìm thaáy ngöôøi coù toäi loãi chi.

19:5 Then came Jesus forth, wearing the crown of thorns, and the purple robe. And Pilate says unto them, Behold the man!

19:5 Vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñi ra, ñaàu ñoäi maõo trieàu gai, mình maëc aùo ñieàu; vaø Phi-laùt noùi cuøng chuùng raèng: Kìa, xem ngöôøi naày!

19:6 When the chief priests therefore and officers saw him, they cried out, saying, Crucify him, crucify him. Pilate says unto them, Take all of you him, and crucify him: for I find no fault in him.

19:6 Nhöng khi caùc thaày teá leã caû vaø caùc keû sai thaáy Ngaøi, thì keâu leân raèng: Haõy ñoùng ñinh haén treân caây thaäp töï, haõy ñoùng ñinh haén treân caây thaäp töï! Phi-laùt noùi cuøng chuùng raèng: Chính mình caùc ngöôi haõy baét maø ñoùng ñinh ngöôøi; bôûi vì veà phaàn ta khoâng thaáy ngöôøi coù toäi loãi chi heát.

19:7 The Jews answered him, We have a law, and by our law he ought to die, because he made himself the Son of God.

19:7 Daân Giu-ña laïi noùi raèng: Chuùng toâi coù luaät, chieáu luaät ñoù haén phaûi cheát; vì hôùn töï xöng laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

19:8 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, (o. logos) he was the more afraid;

19:8 Khi Phi-laùt ñaõ nghe lôøi ñoù, laïi caøng theâm sôï haõi.

19:9 And went again into the judgment hall, and says unto Jesus, Whence are you? But Jesus gave him no answer.

19:9 Ngöôøi laïi trôû vaøo nôi tröôøng aùn maø noùi vôùi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Ngöôi töø ñaâu? Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus khoâng ñaùp gì heát.

19:10 Then says Pilate unto him, Speak you not unto me? know you not that I have power to crucify you, and have power to release you?

19:10 Phi-laùt hoûi Ngaøi raèng: Ngöôi chaúng noùi chi vôùi ta heát sao? Ngöôi haù chaúng bieát raèng ta coù quyeàn buoâng tha ngöôi vaø quyeàn ñoùng ñinh ngöôi sao?

19:11 Jesus answered, You could have no power at all against me, except it were given you from above: therefore he that delivered me unto you has the greater sin.

19:11 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaùp raèng: Neáu chaúng phaûi töø treân cao ñaõ ban cho ngöôi, thì ngöôi khoâng coù quyeàn gì treân ta; vaäy neân, keû noäp ta cho ngöôi laø coù toäi troïng hôn nöõa.

19:12 And from thenceforth Pilate sought to release him: but the Jews cried out, saying, If you let this man go, you are not Caesar's friend: whosoever makes himself a king speaks against Caesar.

19:12 Töø luùc ñoù, Phi-laùt kieám caùch ñeå tha Ngaøi; nhöng daân Giu-ña keâu leân raèng: Ví baèng quan tha ngöôøi naày, thì quan khoâng phaûi laø trung thaàn cuûa Seâ-sa; vì heã ai töï xöng laø vua, aáy laø xöôùng leân nghòch cuøng Seâ-sa vaäy!

19:13 When Pilate therefore heard that saying, (o. logos) he brought Jesus forth, and sat down in the judgment seat in a place that is called the Pavement, but in the Hebrew, Gabbatha.

19:13 Phi-laùt nghe lôøi ñoù beøn daãn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ra ngoaøi, roài ngoài treân toøa aùn, taïi nôi goïi laø Ba-veâ, maø tieáng Heâ-bô-rô goïi laø Ga-ba-tha.

19:14 And it was the preparation of the passover, and about the sixth hour: and he says unto the Jews, Behold your King!

19:14 Vaû, baáy giôø laø ngaøy saém söûa veà leã Vöôït Qua, ñoä chöøng giôø thöù saùu. Phi-laùt noùi cuøng daân Giu-ña raèng: Vua caùc ngöôi kia kìa!

19:15 But they cried out, Away with him, away with him, crucify him. Pilate says unto them, Shall I crucify your King? The chief priests answered, We have no king but Caesar.

19:15 Nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù beøn keâu leân raèng: Haõy tröø haén ñi, tröø haén ñi! Ñoùng ñinh haén treân caây thaäp töï ñi! Phi-laùt noùi vôùi chuùng raèng: Ta seõ ñoùng ñinh Vua caùc ngöôi leân thaäp töï giaù hay sao? Caùc thaày teá leã caû thöa raèng: Chuùng toâi khoâng coù vua khaùc chæ Seâ-sa maø thoâi.

19:16 Then delivered he him therefore unto them to be crucified. And they took Jesus, and led him away.

19:16 Ngöôøi beøn giao Ngaøi cho chuùng ñaëng ñoùng ñinh treân thaäp töï giaù. Vaäy, chuùng baét Ngaøi vaø daãn ñi.

19:17 And he bearing his cross went forth into a place called the place of a skull, which is called in the Hebrew Golgotha:

19:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus vaùc thaäp töï giaù mình, ñi ñeán ngoaøi thaønh, taïi nôi goïi laø caùi Soï, tieáng Heâ-bô-rô goïi laø Goâ-goâ-tha.

19:18 Where they crucified him, and two other with him, on either side one, and Jesus in the midst.

19:18 Aáy ñoù laø choã hoï ñoùng ñinh Ngaøi, laïi coù hai ngöôøi khaùc vôùi Ngaøi, moãi beân moät ngöôøi, coøn Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ôû chính giöõa.

19:19 And Pilate wrote a title, and put it on the cross. And the writing was JESUS OF NAZARETH THE KING OF THE JEWS.

19:19 Phi-laùt cuõng sai laøm moät taám baûng, roài treo leân treân thaäp töï giaù. Treân baûng ñoù coù ñeà chöõ raèng: Jeâsus Ngöôøi Na-xa-reùt, Laø Vua Daân Giu-ña.

19:20 This title then read many of the Jews: for the place where Jesus was crucified was nigh to the city: and it was written in Hebrew, and Greek, and Latin.

19:20 Vì nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bò ñoùng ñinh ôû gaàn thaønh, vaø chöõ ñeà treân baûng ñoù vieát baèng chöõ Heâ-bô-rô, chöõ La-tinh vaø chöõ Gôø-reùc, neân coù nhieàu ngöôøi Giu-ña ñoïc ñeán.

19:21 Then said the chief priests of the Jews to Pilate, Write not, The King of the Jews; but that he said, I am King of the Jews.

19:21 Caùc thaày teá leã caû cuûa daân Giu-ña beøn noùi vôùi Phi-laùt raèng: Xin ñöøng vieát: Vua daân Giu-ña; nhöng vieát raèng, ngöôøi noùi: Ta laø Vua daân Giu-ña.

19:22 Pilate answered, What I have written I have written.

19:22 Phi-laùt traû lôøi raèng: Lôøi ta ñaõ vieát, thì ta ñaõ vieát roài.

19:23 Then the soldiers, when they had crucified Jesus, took his garments, and made four parts, to every soldier a part; and also his coat: now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.

19:23 Quaân lính ñaõ ñoùng ñinh Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus treân thaäp töï giaù roài, beøn laáy aùo xoáng cuûa Ngaøi chia laøm boán phaàn, moãi teân lính chieám moät phaàn. Hoï cuõng laáy aùo daøi cuûa Ngaøi, nhöng aùo daøi ñoù khoâng coù ñöôøng may, nguyeân moät taám vaûi deät ra, töø treân chí döôùi.

19:24 They said therefore among themselves, Let us not rend it, but cast lots for it, whose it shall be: that the scripture might be fulfilled, which says, They parted my raiment among them, and for my vesture they did cast lots. These things therefore the soldiers did.

19:24 Vaäy, hoï noùi vôùi nhau raèng: Ñöøng xeù aùo naày ra, song chuùng ta haõy baét thaêm, ai truùng naáy ñöôïc. Aáy ñeå cho ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi Kinh Thaùnh naày: Chuùng ñaõ chia nhau aùo xoáng cuûa ta, Laïi baét thaêm laáy aùo daøi ta. Ñoù laø vieäc quaân lính laøm.

19:25 Now there stood by the cross of Jesus his mother, and his mother's sister, Mary the wife of Cleophas, and Mary Magdalene.

19:25 Taïi moät beân thaäp töï giaù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, coù meï Ngaøi ñöùng ñoù, vôùi chò meï Ngaøi laø Ma-ri vôï Cô-leâ-oâ-ba, vaø Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len nöõa.

19:26 When Jesus therefore saw his mother, and the disciple standing by, whom he loved, he says unto his mother, Woman, behold your son!

19:26 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus thaáy meï mình, vaø moät moân ñoà Ngaøi yeâu ñöùng gaàn ngöôøi, thì noùi cuøng meï raèng: Hôõi ñôøn baø kia, ñoù laø con cuûa ngöôi!

19:27 Then says he to the disciple, Behold your mother! And from that hour that disciple took her unto his own home.

19:27 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi laïi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi moân ñoà raèng: Ñoù laø meï ngöôi! Baét ñaàu töø baáy giôø, moân ñoà aáy röôùc ngöôøi veà nhaø mình.

19:28 After this, Jesus knowing that all things were now accomplished, that the scripture might be fulfilled, says, I thirst.

19:28 Sau ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus bieát moïi vieäc ñaõ ñöôïc troïn roài, haàu cho lôøi Kinh Thaùnh ñöôïc öùng nghieäm, thì phaùn raèng: Ta khaùt.

19:29 Now there was set a vessel full of vinegar: and they filled a sponge with vinegar, and put it upon hyssop, and put it to his mouth.

19:29 Taïi ñoù, coù moät caùi bình ñöïng ñaày giaám. Vaäy, hoï laáy moät mieáng boâng ñaù thaám ñaày giaám, buoäc vaøo caây ngöu taát ñöa keà mieäng Ngaøi.

19:30 When Jesus therefore had received the vinegar, he said, It is finished: and he bowed his head, and gave up the spirit. (o. pneuma)

19:30 Khi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chòu laáy giaám aáy roài, beøn phaùn raèng: Moïi vieäc ñaõ ñöôïc troïn; roài Ngaøi guïc ñaàu maø truùt linh hoàn.

19:31 The Jews therefore, because it was the preparation, that the bodies should not remain upon the cross on the sabbath day, (for that sabbath day was an high day,) besought Pilate that their legs might be broken, and that they might be taken away.

19:31 Vì baáy giôø laø ngaøy saém söûa veà ngaøy Sa-baùt, maø Sa-baùt naày laø raát troïng theå, neân daân Giu-ña ngaïi raèng nhöõng thaây coøn treo laïi treân thaäp töï giaù trong ngaøy Sa-baùt chaêng, beøn xin Phi-laùt cho ñaùnh gaõy oáng chôn nhöõng ngöôøi ñoù vaø caát xuoáng.

19:32 Then came the soldiers, and brake the legs of the first, and of the other which was crucified with him.

19:32 Vaäy, quaân lính laïi, ñaùnh gaõy oáng chôn ngöôøi thöù nhöùt, roài ñeán ngöôøi kia, töùc laø keû cuøng bò ñoùng ñinh vôùi Ngaøi.

19:33 But when they came to Jesus, and saw that he was dead already, they brake not his legs:

19:33 Khi quaân lính ñeán nôi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, thaáy Ngaøi ñaõ cheát roài, thì khoâng ñaùnh gaõy oáng chôn Ngaøi;

19:34 But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water.

19:34 nhöng coù moät teân lính laáy giaùo ñaâm ngang söôøn Ngaøi, töùc thì maùu vaø nöôùc chaûy ra.

19:35 And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knows that he says true, that all of you might believe.

19:35 Keû ñaõ thaáy thì laøm chöùng veà vieäc ñoù, (lôøi chöùng cuûa ngöôøi laø thaät, vaø ngöôøi vaãn bieát mình noùi thaät vaäy), haàu cho caùc ngöôi cuõng tin.

19:36 For these things were done, that the scripture should be fulfilled, A bone of him shall not be broken.

19:36 Vì ñieàu ñoù xaûy ra, cho ñöôïc öùng nghieäm lôøi Thaùnh Kinh naày: Chaúng moät caùi xöông naøo cuûa Ngaøi seõ bò gaõy.

19:37 And again another scripture says, They shall look on him whom they pierced.

19:37 Laïi coù lôøi Kinh Thaùnh naày nöõa: Chuùng seõ ngoù thaáy ngöôøi maø mình ñaõ ñaâm.

19:38 And after this Joseph of Arimathaea, being a disciple of Jesus, but secretly for fear of the Jews, besought Pilate that he might take away the body of Jesus: and Pilate gave him leave. He came therefore, and took the body of Jesus.

19:38 Sau ñoù, Gioâ-seùp ngöôøi A-ri-ma-theâ, laøm moân ñoà Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus moät caùch kín giaáu, vì sôï daân Giu-ña, xin pheùp Phi-laùt cho laáy xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus; thì Phi-laùt cho pheùp. Vaäy, ngöôøi ñeán vaø laáy xaùc Ngaøi.

19:39 And there came also Nicodemus, which at the first came to Jesus by night, and brought a mixture of myrrh and aloes, about an hundred pound weight.

19:39 Ni-coâ-ñem, laø ngöôøi khi tröôùc ñaõ tôùi cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus trong ban ñeâm, baáy giôø cuõng ñeán, ñem theo ñoä moät traêm caân moät döôïc hoøa vôùi lö hoäi.

19:40 Then took they the body of Jesus, and wound it in linen clothes with the spices, as the manner of the Jews is to bury.

19:40 Vaäy, hai ngöôøi laáy xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus, duøng vaûi gai vaø thuoác thôm goùi laïi, theo nhö tuïc khaâm lieäm cuûa daân Giu-ña.

19:41 Now in the place where he was crucified there was a garden; and in the garden a new tomb, wherein was never man yet laid.

19:41 Vaû, taïi nôi Ngaøi bò ñoùng ñinh, coù moät caùi vöôøn, trong vöôøn ñoù coù moät caùi huyeät môùi, chöa choân ai.

19:42 There laid they Jesus therefore because of the Jews' preparation day; for the tomb was nigh at hand.

19:42 Aáy laø nôi hai ngöôøi choân Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vì baáy giôø laø ngaøy saém söûa cuûa daân Giu-ña, vaø moä aáy ôû gaàn.

 Giang - John

20:1 The first day of the week comes Mary Magdalene early, when it was yet dark, unto the tomb, and sees the stone taken away from the tomb.

20:1 Ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, luùc raïng ñoâng, trôøi coøn môø môø, Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len tôùi moä, thaáy hoøn ñaù laáp cöûa moä ñaõ dôøi ñi.

20:2 Then she runs, and comes to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and says unto them, They have taken away the LORD out of the tomb, and we know not where they have laid him.

20:2 Vaäy, ngöôøi chaïy tìm Si-moân Phi -e-rô vaø moân ñoà khaùc, laø ngöôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus yeâu, maø noùi raèng: Ngöôøi ta ñaõ dôøi Chuùa khoûi moä, chaúng hay ñeå Ngaøi ôû taïi ñaâu.

20:3 Peter therefore went forth, and that other disciple, and came to the tomb.

20:3 Phi -e-rô vôùi moân ñoà khaùc beøn böôùc ra, ñi ñeán moà.

20:4 So they ran both together: and the other disciple did outrun Peter, and came first to the tomb.

20:4 Caû hai ñeàu chaïy, nhöng moân ñoà kia chaïy mau hôn Phi -e-rô, vaø ñeán moà tröôùc.

20:5 And he stooping down, and looking in, saw the linen clothes lying; yet went he not in.

20:5 Ngöôøi cuùi xuoáng, thaáy vaûi boû döôùi ñaát; nhöng khoâng vaøo.

20:6 Then comes Simon Peter following him, and went into the tomb, and sees the linen clothes lie,

20:6 Si-moân Phi -e-rô theo ñeán, vaøo trong moä, thaáy vaûi boû döôùi ñaát,

20:7 And the cloth, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself.

20:7 vaø caùi khaên lieäm truøm ñaàu Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus chaúng cuøng moät choã vôùi vaûi, nhöng cuoán laïi ñeå rieâng ra moät nôi khaùc.

20:8 Then went in also that other disciple, which came first to the tomb, and he saw, and believed.

20:8 Baáy giôø, moân ñoà kia ñaõ ñeán moä tröôùc, cuõng böôùc vaøo, thì thaáy vaø tin.

20:9 For as yet they knew not the scripture, that he must rise again from the dead.

20:9 Vì chöng hai ngöôøi chöa hieåu lôøi Kinh Thaùnh raèng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaûi töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

20:10 Then the disciples went away again unto their own home.

20:10 Ñoaïn, hai moân ñoà trôû veà nhaø mình.

20:11 But Mary stood without at the tomb weeping: and as she wept, she stooped down, and looked into the tomb,

20:11 Song Ma-ri ñöùng beân ngoaøi, gaàn moä, maø khoùc. Ngöôøi vöøa khoùc, vöøa cuùi xuoáng doøm trong moä,

20:12 And sees two angels in white sitting, the one at the head, and the other at the feet, where the body of Jesus had lain.

20:12 thaáy hai vò thieân söù maëc aùo traéng, moät vò ngoài ñaèng ñaàu, moät vò ngoài ñaèng chôn, choã xaùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ naèm.

20:13 And they say unto her, Woman, why weep you? She says unto them, Because they have taken away my LORD, and I know not where they have laid him.

20:13 Hai thieân söù hoûi: Hôõi ñôøn baø kia, sao ngöôi khoùc? Ngöôøi thöa raèng: Vì ngöôøi ta ñaõ dôøi Chuùa toâi ñi, khoâng bieát ñeå Ngaøi ôû ñaâu.

20:14 And when she had thus said, she turned herself back, and saw Jesus standing, and knew not that it was Jesus.

20:14 Vöøa noùi xong ngöôøi xaây laïi thaáy Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus taïi ñoù; nhöng chaúng bieát aáy laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

20:15 Jesus says unto her, Woman, why weep you? whom seek you? She, supposing him to be the gardener, says unto him, Sir, if you have borne him behind, tell me where you have laid him, and I will take him away.

20:15 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hoûi ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi ñôøn baø kia, sao ngöôi khoùc? Ngöôi tìm ai? Ngöôøi ngôõ raèng ñoù laø keû laøm vöôøn beøn noùi raèng: Hôõi chuùa, ví thaät ngöôi laø keû ñaõ ñem Ngaøi ñi, xin noùi cho ta bieát ngöôi ñeå Ngaøi ñaâu, thì ta seõ ñeán maø laáy.

20:16 Jesus says unto her, Mary. She turned herself, and says unto him, Rabboni; which is to say, Master.

20:16 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn raèng: Hôõi Ma-ri, Ma-ri beøn xaây laïi, laáy tieáng Heâ-bô-rô maø thöa raèng: Ra-bu-ni (nghóa laø thaày)!

20:17 Jesus says unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God.

20:17 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Chôù rôø ñeán ta; vì ta chöa leân cuøng Cha! Nhöng haõy ñi ñeán cuøng anh em ta, noùi raèng ta leân cuøng Cha ta vaø Cha caùc ngöôi, cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ta vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi.

20:18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples that she had seen the LORD, and that he had spoken these things unto her.

20:18 Ma-ri Ma-ñô-len ñi rao baûo cho moân ñoà raèng mình ñaõ thaáy Chuùa, vaø Ngaøi ñaõ phaùn cuøng mình nhöõng ñieàu ñoù.

20:19 Then the same day at evening, being the first day of the week, when the doors were shut where the disciples were assembled for fear of the Jews, came Jesus and stood in the midst, and says unto them, Peace be unto you.

20:19 Buoåi chieàu noäi ngaøy ñoù, laø ngaøy thöù nhöùt trong tuaàn leã, nhöõng cöûa nôi caùc moân ñoà ôû ñeàu ñöông ñoùng laïi, vì söï daân Giu-ña, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán ñöùng chính giöõa caùc moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Bình an cho caùc ngöôi!

20:20 And when he had so said, he showed unto them his hands and his side. Then were the disciples glad, when they saw the LORD.

20:20 Noùi ñoaïn, Ngaøi giô tay vaø söôøn mình cho moân ñoà xem. Caùc moân ñoà vöøa thaáy Chuùa thì ñaày söï möøng rôõ.

20:21 Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father has sent me, even so send I you.

20:21 Ngaøi laïi phaùn cuøng moân ñoà raèng: Bình an cho caùc ngöôi! Cha ñaõ sai ta theå naøo, ta cuõng sai caùc ngöôi theå aáy.

20:22 And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and says unto them, Receive all of you the Holy Spirit: (o. pneuma)

20:22 Khi Ngaøi phaùn ñieàu ñoù roài, thì haø hôi treân moân ñoà maø raèng: Haõy nhaän laõnh Ñöùc Thaùnh Linh.

20:23 Whomsoever sins all of you remit, they are remitted unto them; and whomsoever sins all of you retain, they are retained.

20:23 Keû naøo maø caùc ngöôi tha toäi cho, thì toäi seõ ñöôïc tha; coøn keû naøo caùc ngöôi caàm toäi laïi, thì seõ bò caàm cho keû ñoù.

20:24 But Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came.

20:24 Vaû, luùc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán, thì Thoâ-ma, töùc Ñi-ñim, laø moät ngöôøi trong möôøi hai söù ñoà, khoâng coù ôû ñoù vôùi caùc moân ñoà.

20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the LORD. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.

20:25 Caùc moân ñoà khaùc noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Chuùng ta ñaõ thaáy Chuùa. Nhöng ngöôøi traû lôøi raèng: Neáu ta khoâng thaáy daáu ñinh trong baøn tay Ngaøi, neáu ta khoâng ñaët ngoùn tay vaøo choã daáu ñinh, vaø neáu ta khoâng ñaët baøn tay nôi söôøn Ngaøi, thì ta khoâng tin.

20:26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.

20:26 Caùch taùm ngaøy, caùc moân ñoà laïi nhoùm nhau trong nhaø, coù Thoâ-ma ôû vôùi. Khi cöûa ñöông ñoùng, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñeán, ñöùng chính giöõa moân ñoà maø phaùn raèng: Bình an cho caùc ngöôi!

20:27 Then says he to Thomas, Reach here your finger, and behold my hands; and reach here your hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

20:27 Ñoaïn, Ngaøi phaùn cuøng Thoâ-ma raèng: Haõy ñaët ngoùn tay ngöôi vaøo ñaây, vaø xem baøn tay ta; cuõng haõy giô baøn tay ngöôi ra vaø ñaët vaøo söôøn ta, chôù cöùng loøng, song haõy tin!

20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My LORD and my God.

20:28 Thoâ-ma thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa toâi vaø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi toâi!

20:29 Jesus says unto him, Thomas, because you have seen me, you have believed: blessed are they that have not seen, and yet have believed.

20:29 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn: Vì ngöôi ñaõ thaáy ta, neân ngöôi tin. Phöôùc cho nhöõng keû chaúng töøng thaáy maø ñaõ tin vaäy!

20:30 And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of his disciples, which are not written in this book:

20:30 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm tröôùc maët moân ñoà Ngaøi nhieàu pheùp laï khaùc nöõa, maø khoâng cheùp trong saùch naày.

20:31 But these are written, that all of you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing all of you might have life through his name.

20:31 Nhöng caùc vieäc naày ñaõ cheùp, ñeå cho caùc ngöôi tin raèng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laø Ñaáng Christ, töùc laø Con Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø ñeå khi caùc ngöôi tin, thì nhôø danh Ngaøi maø ñöôïc söï soáng.

 Giang - John

21:1 After these things Jesus showed himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and likewise showed he himself.

21:1 Roài ñoù, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi hieän ra cuøng moân ñoà nôi gaàn bieån Ti-beâ-ri-aùt. Vieäc Ngaøi hieän ra nhö vaày:

21:2 There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two other of his disciples.

21:2 Si-moân Phi -e-rô, Thoâ-ma goïi laø Ñi-ñim, Na-tha-na-eân nguyeân ôû thaønh Ca-na trong xöù Ga-li-leâ caùc con trai cuûa Xeâ-beâ-ñeâ vaø hai ngöôøi moân ñoà khaùc nöõa nhoùm laïi cuøng nhau.

21:3 Simon Peter says unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with you. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing.

21:3 Si-moân Phi -e-rô noùi raèng: Toâi ñi ñaùnh caù. Caùc ngöôøi kia traû lôøi raèng: Chuùng toâi ñi vôùi anh. Caùc ngöôi aáy ra ñi xuoáng thuyeàn, nhöng trong ñeâm ñoù, chaúng ñöôïc chi heát.

21:4 But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus.

21:4 Ñeán saùng, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñöùng treân bôø, nhöng moân ñoà khoâng bieát ñoù laø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus.

21:5 Then Jesus says unto them, Children, have all of you any food? They answered him, No.

21:5 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Hôõi caùc con, khoâng coù chi aên heát sao? Thöa raèng: Khoâng

21:6 And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and all of you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.

21:6 Ngaøi phaùn raèng: Haõy thaû löôùi beân höõu thuyeàn, thì caùc ngöôi seõ ñöôïc. Vaäy, caùc ngöôøi aáy thaû löôùi xuoáng, ñöôïc nhieàu caù ñeán noåi khoâng theå keùo leân nöõa.

21:7 Therefore that disciple whom Jesus loved says unto Peter, It is the Lord. Now when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girt his fisher's coat unto him, (for he was naked,) and did cast himself into the sea.

21:7 Moân ñoà maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus yeâu beøn noùi vôùi Phi -e-rô raèng: Aáy laø Chuùa! Khi Si-moân Phi -e-rô nghe raèng aáy laø Chuùa, beøn laáy aùo daøi quaán mình (vì ñöông ôû traàn) vaø nhaûy xuoáng nöôùc.

21:8 And the other disciples came in a little ship; (for they were not far from land, but as it were two hundred cubits,) dragging the net with fishes.

21:8 Caùc moân ñoà khaùc ñem thuyeàn trôû laïi, keùo tay löôùi ñaày caù, vì caùch bôø chæ chöøng hai traêm cu-ñeâ maø thoâi.

21:9 As soon then as they were come to land, they saw a fire of coals there, and fish laid thereon, and bread.

21:9 Luùc moân ñoà ñaõ leân bôø, thaáy taïi ñoù coù löûa than, ôû treân ñeå caù, vaø coù baùnh.

21:10 Jesus says unto them, Bring of the fish which all of you have now caught.

21:10 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy ñem caùc ngöôi môùi ñaùnh ñöôïc ñoù laïi ñaây.

21:11 Simon Peter went up, and drew the net to land full of great fishes, an hundred and fifty and three: and for all there were so many, yet was not the net broken.

21:11 Si-moân Phi -e-rô xuoáng thuyeàn, keùo tay löôùi ñaày moät traêm naêm möôi ba con caù lôùn leân bôø; vaø, daàu nhieàu caù döôøng aáy, löôùi vaãn khoâng ñöùt.

21:12 Jesus says unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Lord.

21:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy laïi maø aên. Nhöng khoâng moät ngöôøi moân ñoà naøo daùm hoûi raèng: Ngöôi laø ai? Vì bieát quaû raèng aáy laø Chuùa.

21:13 Jesus then comes, and takes bread, and gives them, and fish likewise.

21:13 Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus laïi gaàn, laáy baùnh cho moân ñoà, vaø cho luoân caù nöõa.

21:14 This is now the third time that Jesus showed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

21:14 Aáy laø laàn thöù ba maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus hieän ra cuøng moân ñoà Ngaøi, sau khi Ngaøi töø keû cheát soáng laïi.

21:15 So when they had dined, Jesus says to Simon Peter, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me more than these? He says unto him, Yea, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my lambs.

21:15 Khi aên roài, Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn cuøng Si-moân Phi -e-rô raèng: Hôõi Si-moân, con Gioâ-na, ngöôi yeâu ta hôn nhöõng keû naày chaêng? Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, phaûi, Chuùa bieát raèng toâi yeâu Chuùa. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy chaên nhöõng chieân con ta.

21:16 He says to him again the second time, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me? He says unto him, Yea, Lord; you know that I love you. He says unto him, Feed my sheep.

21:16 Ngaøi laïi phaùn laàn thöù hai cuøng ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi Si-moân, con Gioâ-na, ngöôi yeâu ta chaêng? Phi -e-rô thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, phaûi, Chuùa bieát raèng toâi yeâu Chuùa. Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus phaùn raèng: Haõy chaên chieân ta.

21:17 He says unto him the third time, Simon, son of Jonas, love you me? Peter was grieved because he said unto him the third time, Love you me? And he said unto him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Jesus says unto him, Feed my sheep.

21:17 Ngaøi phaùn cuøng ngöôøi ñeán laàn thöù ba raèng: Hôõi Si-moân, con Gioâ-na, ngöôi yeâu ta chaêng? Phi -e-rô buoàn raàu vì Ngaøi phaùn cuøng mình ñeán ba laàn: Ngöôi yeâu ta chaêng: Ngöôøi beøn thöa raèng: Laïy Chuùa, Chuùa bieát heát moïi vieäc; Chuùa bieát raèng toâi yeâu Chuùa! Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn raèng: Haõy chaên chieân ta.

21:18 Verily, verily, I say unto you, When you were young, you gird yourself, and walked where you would: but when you shall be old, you shall stretch forth your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you would not.

21:18 Quaû thaät, quaû thaät, ta noùi cuøng ngöôi, khi ngöôi coøn treû, ngöôi töï mình thaét löng laáy, muoán ñi ñaâu thì ñi; nhöng khi ngöôi giaø, seõ giô baøn tay ra, ngöôøi khaùc thaét löng cho vaø daãn ngöôi ñi ñeán nôi mình khoâng muoán.

21:19 This spoke he, signifying by what death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he says unto him, Follow me.

21:20 Then Peter, turning about, sees the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrays you?

21:20 Phi -e-rô xaây laïi, thaáy moân ñoà maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus yeâu ñeán sau mình, töùc laø ngöôøi ñöông böõa aên toái, nghieâng mình treân ngöïc Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus maø hoûi raèng: Laïy Chuùa, ai laø keû phaûn Chuùa?

21:21 Peter seeing him says to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do?

21:21 Khi thaáy ngöôøi ñoù, Phi -e-rô hoûi Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus raèng: Laïy Chuùa, coøn ngöôøi naày, veà sau seõ ra theá naøo?

21:22 Jesus says unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you? follow you me.

21:22 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùp raèng: neáu ta muoán ngöôøi cöù ôû cho tôùi khi ta ñeán, thì can heä gì vôùi ngöôi? Coøn ngöôi, haõy theo ta.

21:23 Then went this saying (o. logos) abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to you?

21:23 Vaäy, coù tieáng ñoàn ra trong voøng caùc anh em raèng ngöôøi moân ñoà ñoù seõ khoâng cheát. Nhöng Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus voán chaúng phaûi noùi raèng: Ngöôøi ñoù seõ khoâng cheát; song noùi raèng: Neáu ta muoán ngöôøi cöù ôû cho tôùi khi ta ñeán, thì can heä gì vôùi ngöôi? ñoù thoâi.

21:24 This is the disciple which testifies of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true.

21:24 Aáy chính laø moân ñoà ñoù laøm chöùng veà nhöõng vieäc naày vaø ñaõ cheùp laáy; chuùng ta bieát lôøi chöùng cuûa ngöôøi laø thaät.

21:25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.

21:25 Laïi coøn nhieàu vieäc nöõa maø Ñöùc Chuùa Jeâsus ñaõ laøm; ví baèng ngöôøi ta cöù töøng vieäc maø cheùp heát, thì ta töôûng raèng caû theá gian khoâng theå chöùa heát caùc saùch ngöôøi ta cheùp vaäy.
