 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

21:1 Now Jehoshaphat slept with his fathers, and was buried with his fathers in the city of David. And Jehoram his son reigned in his position.

21:1 Gioâ-sa-phaùt an giaác cuøng toå phuï mình, ñöôïc choân trong thaønh Ña-vít vôùi toå phuï ngöôøi; Gioâ-ram con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

21:2 And he had brethren the sons of Jehoshaphat, Azariah, and Jehiel, and Zechariah, and Azariah, and Michael, and Shephatiah: all these were the sons of Jehoshaphat king of Israel.

21:2 Ngöôøi coù caùc em ruoät, töùc laø nhöõng con trai Gioâ-sa-phaùt: A-xa-ria, Gieâ-hi-eân, Xa-cha-ri, A-xa-ria -u, Mi-ca-eân, vaø Seâ-pha-ti -a; caùc ngöôøi naøy ñeàu laø con trai cuûa Gioâ-sa-phaùt, vua Y-sô-ra-eân.

21:3 And their father gave them great gifts of silver, and of gold, and of precious things, with fenced cities in Judah: but the kingdom gave he to Jehoram; because he was the firstborn.

21:3 Vua cha coù ban cho chuùng nhieàu cuûa caûi baèng baïc vaø vaøng, nhöõng böûu vaät vôùi caùc thaønh vöõng beàn trong xöù Giu-ña; nhöng ngöôøi ban ngoâi nöôùc cho Gioâ-ram, bôûi vì ngöôøi laø con tröôûng.

21:4 Now when Jehoram was risen up to the kingdom of his father, he strengthened himself, and slew all his brethren with the sword, and divers also of the princes of Israel.

21:4 Khi Gioâ-ram leân ngoâi nöôùc cha mình, laøm cho mình maïnh meõ, beøn laáy göôm gieát caùc em mình vaø maáy ngöôøi quan tröôûng cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

21:5 Jehoram was thirty and two years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eight years in Jerusalem.

21:5 Gioâ-ram ñöôïc ba möôi hai tuoåi, khi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø ngöôøi cai trò taùm naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

21:6 And he walked in the way of the kings of Israel, like did the house of Ahab: for he had the daughter of Ahab to wife: and he wrought that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD.

21:6 Ngöôøi ñi trong con ñöôøng cuûa caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân, theo ñieàu nhaø A-haùp ñaõ laøm; vì ngöôøi coù cöôùi con gaùi A-haùp laøm vôï; ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

21:7 Nevertheless the LORD would not destroy the house of David, because of the covenant that he had made with David, and as he promised to give a light to him and to his sons for ever.

21:7 Nhöng, vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ laäp giao öôùc vôùi Ña-vít, bôûi Ngaøi ñaõ höùa raèng seõ ban moät ngoïn ñeøn cho ngöôøi vaø cho con chaùu ngöôøi ñeán ñôøi ñôøi, neân Ngaøi khoâng muoán dieät nhaø Ña-vít.

21:8 In his days the Edomites revolted from under the dominion of Judah, and made themselves a king.

21:8 Trong ñôøi Gioâ-ram, EÂ-ñoâm phaûn nghòch cuøng Giu-ña, vaø laäp moät vua cho mình.

21:9 Then Jehoram went forth with his princes, and all his chariots with him: and he rose up by night, and stroke the Edomites which compassed him in, and the captains of the chariots.

21:9 Gioâ-ram vôùi caùc quan töôùng vaø caùc xe cuûa mình, ban ñeâm choåi daäy, keùo ra ñaùnh EÂ-ñoâm ñaõ vaây phuû mình vaø caùc quan cai xe.

21:10 So the Edomites revolted from under the hand of Judah unto this day. The same time also did Libnah revolt from under his hand; because he had forsaken the LORD God of his fathers.

21:10 Song EÂ-ñoâm daáy nghòch, khoâng phuïc döôùi tay Giu-ña cho ñeán ngaøy nay. Cuõng trong moät luùc aáy, Líp-na phaûn nghòch, khoâng phuïc döôùi tay Gioâ-ram nöõa, bôûi vì ngöôøi ñaõ lìa boû Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï ngöôøi.

21:11 Moreover he made high places in the mountains of Judah and caused the inhabitants of Jerusalem to commit fornication, and compelled Judah thereto.

21:11 Ngöôøi cuõng laäp nhöõng nôi cao trong caùc nuùi Giu-ña, xui cho daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem thoâng daâm, vaø khieán cho daân Giu-ña laàm laïc.

21:12 And there came a writing to him from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus says the LORD God of David your father, Because you have not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,

21:12 Ñaáng tieân tri EÂ-li gôûi thô cho Gioâ-ram, maø noùi raèng: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Ña-vít, toå phuï oâng, ñaõ phaùn nhö vaày: bôûi ngöôi khoâng ñi theo ñöôøng loái cuûa Gioâ-sa-phaùt, cha ngöôi, laïi cuõng chaúng ñi theo con ñöôøng cuûa A-sa, vua Giu-ña,

21:13 But have walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and have made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also have slain your brethren of your father's house, which were better than yourself:

21:13 nhöng ñaõ ñi theo ñöôøng loái cuûa caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân, xui cho ngöôøi Giu-ña vaø daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem thoâng daâm y nhö nhaø A-haùp ñaõ laøm vaäy, vaø cuõng ñaõ gieát caùc em ngöôi veà nhaø cha cuûa ngöôi, laø nhöõng ngöôøi toát hôn ngöôi,

21:14 Behold, with a great plague will the LORD strike your people, and your children, and your wives, and all your goods:

21:14 naøy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ giaùng hoïa lôùn treân daân söï ngöôi, treân con caùi ngöôi, treân caùc vôï ngöôi, cuøng treân caùc taøi vaät cuûa ngöôi;

21:15 And you shall have great sickness by disease of your bowels, until your bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.

21:15 coøn chính mình ngöôi seõ bò bònh trong gan ruoät caøng ngaøy caøng naëng cho ñeán ñoãi gan ruoät tan rôùt ra.

21:16 Moreover the LORD stirred up against Jehoram the spirit of the Philistines, and of the Arabians, that were near the Ethiopians:

21:16 Vaû laïi, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va kheâu loøng daân Phi-li-tin vaø daân A raïp ôû gaàn beân daân EÂ-thi-oâ-bi, nghòch vôùi Gioâ-ram;

21:17 And they came up into Judah, and brake into it, and carried away all the substance that was found in the king's house, and his sons also, and his wives; so that there was not a son left him, save Jehoahaz, the youngest of his sons.

21:17 chuùng keùo leân haõm ñaùnh Giu-ña, laán vaøo trong caû xöù, ñoaït laáy caùc taøi vaät thaáy trong cung ñieän vua, vaø baét caùc vöông töû cuøng haäu phi cuûa ngöôøi ñi laøm phu tuø, ñeán noãi tröø ra Gioâ -a-cha con trai uùt ngöôøi, thì chaúng coøn soùt laïi cho ngöôøi moät con trai naøo heát.

21:18 And after all this the LORD stroke him in his bowels with an incurable disease.

21:18 Sau caùc vieäc aáy, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va haønh haïi ngöôøi, khieán cho bò bònh baát trò trong ruoät.

21:19 And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.

21:19 Ngaøy qua thaùng luïn, xaûy cuoái naêm thöù nhì, thì ruoät gan Gioâ-ram vì bònh tan rôùt ra, vaø ngöôøi cheát caùch ñau ñôùn döõ tôïn; daân söï khoâng xoâng thuoác thôm cho ngöôøi nhö ñaõ xoâng cho toå phuï ngöôøi.

21:20 Thirty and two years old was he when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem eight years, and departed without being desired. Nevertheless they buried him in the city of David, but not in the sepulchers of the kings.

21:20 Khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi, thì tuoåi ñöôïc ba möôi hai, vaø ngöôøi cai trò taùm naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; ngöôøi qua ñôøi chaúng ai tieác ngöôøi; ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi trong thaønh Ña-vít, song chaúng phaûi taïi moà caùc vua.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

22:1 And the inhabitants of Jerusalem made Ahaziah his youngest son king in his position: for the band of men that came with the Arabians to the camp had slain all the eldest. So Ahaziah the son of Jehoram king of Judah reigned.

22:1 Daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem laäp A-cha-xia, con trai uùt cuûa Gioâ-ram, laøm vua thay vì ngöôøi; vì ñaïo quaân ñeán vôùi daân A raïp xoâng vaøo traïi quaân, ñaõ gieát caùc con trai lôùn hôn ngöôøi. Aáy vaäy, A-cha-xia, con trai Gioâ-ram, vua Giu-ña, leân ngoâi laøm vua.

22:2 Forty and two years old was Ahaziah when he began to reign, and he reigned one year in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Athaliah the daughter of Omri.

22:2 A-cha-xia ñöôïc hai möôi hai tuoåi khi ngöôøi töùc vò; ngöôøi cai trò moät naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; teân meï ngöôøi laø A-tha-li, con gaùi cuûa Oâm-ri.

22:3 He also walked in the ways of the house of Ahab: for his mother was his counsellor to do wickedly.

22:3 Ngöôøi cuõng ñi theo caùc ñöôøng loái cuûa nhaø A-haùp vì meï ngöôøi laø keû baøy möu giuïc ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc.

22:4 Wherefore he did evil in the sight of the LORD like the house of Ahab: for they were his counsellors after the death of his father to his destruction.

22:4 Ngöôøi laøm nhöõng ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nhö nhaø A-haùp ñaõ laøm; vì sau khi vua cha qua ñôøi, nhaø A-haùp laøm keû baøy möu cho ngöôøi, gaây cho ngöôøi bò baïi hoaïi.

22:5 He walked also after their counsel, and went with Jehoram the son of Ahab king of Israel to war against Hazael king of Syria at Ramothgilead: and the Syrians stroke Joram.

22:5 Ngöôøi cuõng theo möu chöôùc cuûa chuùng maø ñi vôùi Gioâ-ram, con trai A-haùp, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, ñeán Ra-moát taïi Ga-la-aùt, ñaëng tranh chieán cuøng Ha-xa-eân, vua Sy-ri. Daân Sy-ri laøm cho Gioâ-ram bò thöông.

22:6 And he returned to be healed in Jezreel because of the wounds which were given him at Ramah, when he fought with Hazael king of Syria. And Azariah the son of Jehoram king of Judah went down to see Jehoram the son of Ahab at Jezreel, because he was sick.

22:6 Ngöôøi beøn trôû veà Gít-reâ-eân, ñaëng chöõa laønh caùc daáu thöông ngöôøi ñaõ bò taïi Ra-ma, khi ñaùnh giaëc vôùi Ha-xa-eân, vua Sy-ri, A-cha-xia, con trai Gioâ-ram, vua Giu-ña ñi xuoáng Gít-reâ-eân ñaëng thaêm bònh Gioâ-ram, con trai A-haùp.

22:7 And the destruction of Ahaziah was of God by coming to Joram: for when he was come, he went out with Jehoram against Jehu the son of Nimshi, whom the LORD had anointed to cut off the house of Ahab.

22:7 Vieäc A-cha-xia ñi ñeán cuøng Gioâ-ram bôûi yù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø gaây cho ngöôøi bò baïi hoaïi; vì khi ngöôøi ñeán taän nôi, beøn cuøng Gioâ-ram keùo ra ñaùnh Gieâ-hu, con trai Nim-si, laø ngöôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ xöùc daàu cho, ñaëng tröø dieät nhaø A-haùp.

22:8 And it came to pass, that, when Jehu was executing judgment upon the house of Ahab, and found the princes of Judah, and the sons of the brethren of Ahaziah, that ministered to Ahaziah, he slew them.

22:8 Xaûy ñöông khi Gieâ-hu tröø dieät nhaø A-haùp, laïi gaëp ñöôïc caùc quan tröôûng Giu-ña vaø caùc con trai cuûa anh em A-cha-xia vaãn phuïc söï ngöôøi, thì lieàn gieát chuùng noù ñi.

22:9 And he sought Ahaziah: and they caught him, (for he was hid in Samaria,) and brought him to Jehu: and when they had slain him, they buried him: Because, said they, he is the son of Jehoshaphat, who sought the LORD with all his heart. So the house of Ahaziah had no power to keep still the kingdom.

22:9 Ngöôøi cuõng tìm A-cha-xia ñöông aån taïi Sa-ma-ri, ngöôøi ta baét ngöôøi, daãn ñeán cuøng Gieâ-hu, roài gieát ngöôøi ñi, ñoaïn hoï choân ngöôøi, vì noùi raèng: Haén laø con trai cuûa Gioâ-sa-phaùt, töùc ngöôøi heát loøng tìm caàu Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Trong nhaø A-cha-xia chaúng coøn ai coù theå giöõ quyeàn cai trò nöôùc ñöôïc.

22:10 But when Athaliah the mother of Ahaziah saw that her son was dead, she arose and destroyed all the seed royal of the house of Judah.

22:10 Vaû, khi A-tha-li, meï cuûa A-cha-xia, thaáy con trai mình ñaõ cheát, beøn choåi daäy dieät caû doøng gioáng vua Giu-ña.

22:11 But Jehoshabeath, the daughter of the king, took Joash the son of Ahaziah, and stole him from among the king's sons that were slain, and put him and his nurse in a bedchamber. So Jehoshabeath, the daughter of king Jehoram, the wife of Jehoiada the priest, (for she was the sister of Ahaziah,) hid him from Athaliah, so that she slew him not.

22:11 Nhöng Gioâ-sa-baùt, con gaùi cuûa vua, boàng troäm Gioâ-aùch, con trai cuûa A-cha-xia, ñem khoûi voøng caùc con trai cua maø ngöôøi ta toan gieát, roài ñeå noù vaø keû vuù noù trong phoøng nguû. Nhö vaäy, Gioâ-sa-baùt, con gaùi cuûa vua Gioâ-ram, vôï thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, giaáu Gioâ-aùch khoûi tröôùc maét A-tha-li, vaø A-tha-li khoâng gieát noù ñöôïc; Gioâ-sa-baùt laø em gaùi cuûa A-cha-xia.

22:12 And he was with them hid in the house of God six years: and Athaliah reigned over the land.

22:12 Gioâ-aùch bò aån giaáu vôùi hoï trong saùu naêm taïi ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; coøn A-tha-li cai trò treân xöù.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

23:1 And in the seventh year Jehoiada strengthened himself, and took the captains of hundreds, Azariah the son of Jeroham, and Ishmael the son of Jehohanan, and Azariah the son of Obed, and Maaseiah the son of Adaiah, and Elishaphat the son of Zichri, into covenant with him.

23:1 Naêm thöù baûy, Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña laøm cho mình neân maïnh, vôøi caùc quan töôùng cai traêm ngöôøi, laø A-cha-xia, con trai cuûa Gieâ-roâ-ham, Ích-ma-eân, con trai cuûa Gioâ-ha-nan, A-xa-ria, con trai cuûa OÂ-beát, Ma -a-xeâ-gia, con trai cuûa A-ña-gia, vaø EÂ-li-sa-phaùt, con trai cuûa Xieác-ri, vaø laäp giao öôùc vôùi caùc ngöôøi aáy.

23:2 And they went about in Judah, and gathered the Levites out of all the cities of Judah, and the chief of the fathers of Israel, and they came to Jerusalem.

23:2 Nhöõng ngöôøi aáy ñi khaép xöù Giu-ña, vaø töø caùc thaønh Giu-ña nhoùm ngöôøi Leâ-vi vaø caùc tröôûng toäc cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân; roài hoï ñeàu ñeán Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

23:3 And all the congregation made a covenant with the king in the house of God. And he said unto them, Behold, the king's son shall reign, as the LORD has said of the sons of David.

23:3 Caû hoäi chuùng ñeàu laäp giao öôùc vôùi vua taïi trong ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña noùi vôùi chuùng raèng: Naày con trai cuûa vua seõ cai trò theo lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn veà con chaùu Ña-vít.

23:4 This is the thing that all of you shall do; A third part of you entering on the sabbath, of the priests and of the Levites, shall be porters of the doors;

23:4 Naày ñieàu caùc ngöôi seõ laøm: Moät phaàn ba trong caùc ngöôi, töùc nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, ñeán phieân trong ngaøy sa-baùt, seõ giöõ cöûa;

23:5 And a third part shall be at the king's house; and a third part at the gate of the foundation: and all the people shall be in the courts of the house of the LORD.

23:5 moät phaàn ba seõ vaøo trong cung vua, vaø moät phaàn ba ôû nôi cöûa Gieâ-soát; coøn caû daân söï seõ ôû nôi haønh lang cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:6 But let none come into the house of the LORD, save the priests, and they that minister of the Levites; they shall go in, for they are holy: but all the people shall keep the watch of the LORD.

23:6 Chôù ñeå ai vaøo trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ngoaïi tröø nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø caùc ngöôøi Leâ-vi phuïc söï: hoï seõ vaøo, bôûi vì hoï thaùnh saïch, caû daân söï seõ giöõ maïng lònh cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:7 And the Levites shall compass the king round about, every man with his weapons in his hand; and whosoever else comes into the house, he shall be put to death: but be all of you with the king when he comes in, and when he goes out.

23:7 Ngöôøi Leâ-vi seõ vaây chung quanh vua, heã ai vaøo ñeàn thôø thì seõ bò gieát; caùc ngöôi khaù theo haàu vua khi ngöôøi ñi ra ñi vaøo.

23:8 So the Levites and all Judah did according to all things that Jehoiada the priest had commanded, and took every man his men that were to come in on the sabbath, with them that were to go out on the sabbath: for Jehoiada the priest dismissed not the courses.

23:8 Ngöôøi Leâ-vi vaø caû Giu-ña ñeàu laøm theo lôøi thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña ñaõ daën baûo; moãi ngöôøi ñeàu laõnh keû thuû haï mình, hoaëc nhöõng keû vaøo phieân ngaøy sa-baùt hay laø keû maõn phieân ngaøy sa-baùt; vì thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña khoâng cho caùc phieân ñoåi veà.

23:9 Moreover Jehoiada the priest delivered to the captains of hundreds spears, and bucklers, and shields, that had been king David's, which were in the house of God.

23:9 Thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña phaùt cho caùc quan töôùng cai traêm ngöôøi, nhöõng giaùo, khieân nhoû vaø lôùn cuûa vua Ña-vít, ñeå trong ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

23:10 And he set all the people, every man having his weapon in his hand, from the right side of the temple to the left side of the temple, along by the altar and the temple, by the king round about.

23:10 Ngöôøi khieán daân chuùng, ai naáy caàm binh khí mình, saép haøng ñöùng chung quanh vua daøi theo baøn thôø vaø ñeàn, töø beân höõu ñeàn cho ñeán beân taû ñeàn.

23:11 Then they brought out the king's son, and put upon him the crown, and gave him the testimony, and made him king. And Jehoiada and his sons anointed him, and said, God save the king.

23:11 Ñoaïn chuùng ñem vöông töû ra, ñoäi maõo trieàu thieân treân ñaàu ngöôøi, vaø trao luaät phaùp cho ngöôøi, roài toân ngöôøi laøm vua; Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña vaø caùc con trai ngöôøi xöùc daàu cho ngöôøi maø raèng: Vua vaïn tueá!

23:12 Now when Athaliah heard the noise of the people running and praising the king, she came to the people into the house of the LORD:

23:12 Khi A-tha-li nghe tieáng daân söï chaïy vaø chuùc tuïng vua, thì ñi ñeán cuøng daân söï taïi trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:13 And she looked, and, behold, the king stood at his pillar at the entering in, and the princes and the trumpets by the king: and all the people of the land rejoiced, and sounded with trumpets, also the singers with instruments of music, and such as taught to sing praise. Then Athaliah rent her clothes, and said, Treason, Treason.

23:13 Baø xem thaáy vua ñöùng treân caùi saïp taïi cöûa vaøo; caùc quan töôùng vaø keû thoåi keøn ñöùng gaàn beân vua; coøn caû daân söï cuûa xöù ñeàu vui möøng vaø thoåi keøn, laïi coù nhöõng keû ca xöôùng gaûy nhaïc khí, maø ngôïi khen Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi. A-tha-li beøn xeù aùo mình maø la leân raèng: Phaûn nguïy! phaûn nguïy!

23:14 Then Jehoiada the priest brought out the captains of hundreds that were set over the host, and said unto them, Have her out of the ranges: and whoso follows her, let him be slain with the sword. For the priest said, Slay her not in the house of the LORD.

23:14 Thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña ñoøi ra caùc quan töôùng cai traêm ngöôøi ñöôïc ñaët thoáng quaûn ñaïo quaân, maø bieåu raèng: Haõy daãn baø ra ngoaøi khoûi haøng quaân, heã ai theo baø, khaù gieát noù baèng göôm, vì thaày teá leã ñaõ daïy raèng: Chôù gieát baø taïi trong ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:15 So they laid hands on her; and when she was come to the entering of the horse gate by the king's house, they slew her there.

23:15 Chuùng beøn veït ñöôøng cho baø; baø trôû vaøo cung vua bôûi nôi cöûa ngöïa vaøo; roài chuùng gieát baø taïi ñoù.

23:16 And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people, and between the king, that they should be the LORD's people.

23:16 Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña beøn laäp giao öôùc vôùi caû daân söï vaø vôùi vua, ñeå chuùng laøm daân söï cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

23:17 Then all the people went to the house of Baal, and brake it down, and brake his altars and his images in pieces, and slew Mattan the priest of Baal before the altars.

23:17 Caû daân söï ñeàu ñi ñeán mieãu Ba-anh, phaù dôõ noù, ñaäp beå baøn thôø vaø hình töôïng noù, roài gieát Ma-than, thaày teá leã cuûa Ba-anh, taïi tröôùc baøn thôø.

23:18 Also Jehoiada appointed the offices of the house of the LORD by the hand of the priests the Levites, whom David had distributed in the house of the LORD, to offer the burnt offerings of the LORD, as it is written in the law of Moses, with rejoicing and with singing, as it was ordained by David.

23:18 Chieáu theo ban thöù Ña-vít ñaõ ñònh trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña giao caùc chöùc söï veà ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaøo tay nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, ñaëng daân nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu cho Gieâ-hoâ-va caùch ca haùt vui möøng, y theo ñeàu ñaõ cheùp trong luaät phaùp cuûa Moâi-se, vaø theo leä Ña-vít ñaõ ñònh.

23:19 And he set the porters at the gates of the house of the LORD, that none which was unclean in any thing should enter in.

23:20 And he took the captains of hundreds, and the nobles, and the governors of the people, and all the people of the land, and brought down the king from the house of the LORD: and they came through the high gate into the king's house, and set the king upon the throne of the kingdom.

23:20 Ngöôøi laõnh laáy nhöõng quan töôùng cai traêm ngöôøi, keû töôùc vò vaø nhöõng ngöôøi quan tröôûng cuûa daân, cuøng caû daân söï cuûa xöù, maø röôùc vua töø ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xuoáng, ñi vaøo cung vua bôûi cöûa treân, roài ñaët vua ngoài treân ngoâi nöôùc.

23:21 And all the people of the land rejoiced: and the city was quiet, after that they had slain Athaliah with the sword.

23:21 Heát thaûy daân söï cuûa xöù ñeàu vui möøng, vaø thaønh ñöôïc bình tònh. Vaû, chuùng ñaõ gieát A-tha-li baèng göôm.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

24:1 Joash was seven years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Zibiah of Beersheba.

24:1 Gioâ-aùch ñöôïc baûy tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò boán möôi naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; meï ngöôøi teân laø Xi-bia, queâ ôû Beâ -e-Seâ-ba.

24:2 And Joash did that which was right in the sight of the LORD all the days of Jehoiada the priest.

24:2 Gioâ-aùch laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va troïn ñôøi thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña.

24:3 And Jehoiada took for him two wives; and he brings forth sons and daughters.

24:3 Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña cöôùi hai vôï cho Gioâ-aùch; ngöôøi sanh ñöôïc nhöõng con trai vaø con gaùi.

24:4 And it came to pass after this, that Joash was minded to repair the house of the LORD.

24:4 Sau vieäc naøy, Gioâ-aùch coù yù tu boå ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va,

24:5 And he gathered together the priests and the Levites, and said to them, Go out unto the cities of Judah, and gather of all Israel money to repair the house of your God from year to year, and see that all of you hasten the matter. Nevertheless the Levites hastened it not.

24:5 beøn nhoùm nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, maø baûo raèng: Haõy ñi khaép caùc thaønh Giu-ña, thaâu laáy tieàn baïc cuûa caû Y-sô-ra-eân, ñeå haèng naêm tu boå laïi caùi ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi; khaù laøm vieäc naøy cho mau. Song ngöôøi Leâ-vi trì höôõn.

24:6 And the king called for Jehoiada the chief, and said unto him, Why have you not required of the Levites to bring in out of Judah and out of Jerusalem the collection, according to the commandment of Moses the servant of the LORD, and of the congregation of Israel, for the tabernacle of witness?

24:6 Vua vôøi thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, maø baûo raèng: Côù sao ngöôøi Leâ-vi töø Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñem noäp thueá, maø Moâi-se, toâi tôù cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñaõ ñònh cho hoäi chuùng Y-sô-ra-eân phaûi daâng cho traïi chöùng côù?

24:7 For the sons of Athaliah, that wicked woman, had broken up the house of God; and also all the dedicated things of the house of the LORD did they bestow upon Baalim.

24:7 Vì A-tha-li, ngöôøi nöõ ñoäc aùc kia, vaø caùc con trai naøng ñaõ phaù huûy ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; vaø chuùng noù ñaõ daâng caùc vaät thaùnh cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cho thaàn Ba-anh.

24:8 And at the king's commandment they made a chest, and set it without at the gate of the house of the LORD.

24:8 Vua beøn truyeàn daïy ngöôøi ta ñoùng moät caùi hoøm, ñeå phía ngoaøi cöûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

24:9 And they made a proclamation through Judah and Jerusalem, to bring in to the LORD the collection that Moses the servant of God laid upon Israel in the wilderness.

24:9 Roài ngöôøi ta rao cho khaép xöù Giu-ña vaø thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ai naáy phaûi ñem daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va tieàn thueá maø Moâi-se, toâi tôù cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaõ ñònh veà Y-sô-ra-eân taïi trong ñoàng vaéng.

24:10 And all the princes and all the people rejoiced, and brought in, and cast into the chest, until they had made an end.

24:10 Heát thaûy caùc quan tröôûng vaø caû daân söï ñeàu vui möøng, ñem baïc ñeán boû vaøo trong hoøm cho ñeán ñaày.

24:11 Now it came to pass, that at what time the chest was brought unto the king's office by the hand of the Levites, and when they saw that there was much money, the king's scribe and the high priest's officer came and emptied the chest, and took it, and carried it to his place again. Thus they did day by day, and gathered money in abundance.

24:11 Khi ngöôøi Leâ-vi thaáy trong hoøm ñöïng nhieàu baïc, beøn ñem noù leân giao cho vua kieåm soaùt; thô kyù vua vaø ngöôøi cuûa thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm ñeàu ñeán truùt hoøm ra, roài ñem ñeå laïi choã cuõ. Moãi ngaøy hoï laøm nhö vaäy, vaø thaâu ñöôïc raát hieàu baïc.

24:12 And the king and Jehoiada gave it to such as did the work of the service of the house of the LORD, and hired stone workers and carpenters to repair the house of the LORD, and also such as wrought iron and brass to mend the house of the LORD.

24:12 Vua vaø Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña giao baïc aáy cho nhöõng keû coi soùc coâng vieäc trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; hoï möôùn thôï ñeõo ñaù, vaø thôï moäc, ñaëng tu boå ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; cuõng möôùn nhöõng thôï saét vaø thôï ñoàng ñaëng söûa laïi ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

24:13 So the workmen wrought, and the work was perfected by them, and they set the house of God in his state, and strengthened it.

24:13 Vaäy, caùc thôï laøm coâng vieäc, vaø nhôø tay hoï vieäc tu boå ñöôïc thaønh; chuùng laøm laïi ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nhö cuõ, vaø laøm cho vöõng chaéc.

24:14 And when they had finished it, they brought the rest of the money before the king and Jehoiada, whereof were made vessels for the house of the LORD, even vessels to minister, and to offer likewise, and spoons, and vessels of gold and silver. And they offered burnt offerings in the house of the LORD continually all the days of Jehoiada.

24:14 Khi ñaõ laøm xong, chuùng beøn ñem baïc coøn dö laïi ñeán tröôùc maët vua vaø Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña; ngöôøi ta duøng baïc aáy laøm nhöõng ñoà leã veà ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, töùc nhöõng ñoà duøng veà vieäc phuïng söï, vaø veà cuoäc teá leã, nhöõng cheùn, vaø nhöõng khí duïng baèng vaøng baèng baïc. Troïn ñôøi Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, ngöôøi ta haèng daâng cuûa leã thieâu taïi ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va luoân luoân.

24:15 But Jehoiada waxed old, and was full of days when he died; an hundred and thirty years old was he when he died.

24:15 Vaû, Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña ñaõ trôû veà giaø tuoåi raát cao, roài qua ñôøi; luùc ngöôøi thaùc, ñöôïc moät traêm ba möôi tuoåi.

24:16 And they buried him in the city of David among the kings, because he had done good in Israel, both toward God, and toward his house.

24:16 Ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi taïi trong thaønh Ña-vít chung vôùi caùc vua, vì ngöôøi coù coâng lao trong Y-sô-ra-eân, coù haàu vieäc Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, vaø tu boå ñeàn cuûa Ngaøi.

24:17 Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah, and made reverence to the king. Then the king hearkened unto them.

24:17 Sau khi Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña ñaõ qua ñôøi, caùc quan tröôûng Giu-ña ñeán chaàu laïy vua. Vua beøn nghe theo lôøi cuûa chuùng,

24:18 And they left the house of the LORD God of their fathers, and served groves and idols: and wrath came upon Judah and Jerusalem for this their trespass.

24:18 lìa boû ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï mình, maø phuïc söï nhöõng thaàn A-seâ-ra vaø caùc hình töôïng; taïi côù toäi loãi aáy, beøn coù côn giaän cuûa Chuùa nghòch cuøng Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

24:19 Yet he sent prophets to them, to bring them again unto the LORD; and they testified against them: but they would not give ear.

24:19 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va sai caùc ñaáng tieân tri ñeán cuøng chuùng, ñeå daét chuùng trôû laïi cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; nhöng chuùng khoâng chòu nghe.

24:20 And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus says God, Why transgress all of you the commandments of the LORD, that all of you cannot prosper? because all of you have forsaken the LORD, he has also forsaken you.

24:20 Thaàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caûm ñoäng Xa-cha-ri, con trai cuûa thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña; ngöôøi ñöùng daäy tröôùc maët daân söï, maø noùi raèng: Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi phaùn nhö vaày: Côù sao caùc ngöôi phaïm caùc ñieàu raên cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va? Caùc ngöôi seõ chaúng may maén ñöôïc, vì ñaõ lìa boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuõng ñaõ lìa boû caùc ngöôi.

24:21 And they conspired against him, and stoned him with stones at the commandment of the king in the court of the house of the LORD.

24:21 Chuùng beøn phaûn nghòch vôùi ngöôøi, vaø theo lònh vua neùm ñaù ngöôøi taïi trong haønh lang cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

24:22 Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him, but slew his son. And when he died, he said, The LORD look upon it, and require it.

24:22 Aáy vaäy, vua Gioâ-aùch khoâng nhôù ñeán söï nhaân töø cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, cha cuûa A-cha-xia, ñaõ laøm cho mình, nhöng gieát con trai ngöôøi ñi; khi ngöôøi cheát thì coù noùi raèng: Nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va xem xeùt vaø baùo laïi cho!

24:23 And it came to pass at the end of the year, that the host of Syria came up against him: and they came to Judah and Jerusalem, and destroyed all the princes of the people from among the people, and sent all the spoil of them unto the king of Damascus.

24:23 Xaûy khi ñeán cuoái naêm, thì ñaïo binh Sy-ri keùo leân haõm ñaùnh Gioâ-aùch; chuùng noù loaùn ñeán Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, gieát caùc quan tröôûng cuûa daân, roài gôûi heát nhöõng cuûa cöôùp veà cho vua taïi Ña-maùch.

24:24 For the army of the Syrians came with a small company of men, and the LORD delivered a very great host into their hand, because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers. So they executed judgment against Joash.

24:24 Ñaïo binh Sy-ri keùo ñeán coù ít ngöôøi, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laïi phoù moät ñaïo binh raát ñoâng vaøo tay chuùng noù, bôûi vì hoï ñaõ lìa boû Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï mình. Nhö vaäy, daân Sy-ri xöû hình phaït cho Gioâ-aùch.

24:25 And when they were departed from him, (for they left him in great diseases,) his own servants conspired against him for the blood of the sons of Jehoiada the priest, and slew him on his bed, and he died: and they buried him in the city of David, but they buried him not in the sepulchers of the kings.

24:25 Khi chuùng ñaõ boû ñi roài (vaû chuùng ñeå ngöôøi ôû laïi bò ñau naëng), caùc ñaày tôù ngöôøi beøn phaûn nghòch cuøng ngöôøi, vì côù huyeát cuûa con trai thaày teá leã Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, gieát ngöôøi taïi treân giöôøng, vaø ngöôøi cheát; ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi taïi trong thaønh Ña-vít, song khoâng phaûi trong moà caùc vua.

24:26 And these are they that conspired against him; Zabad the son of Shimeath an Ammonitess, and Jehozabad the son of Shimrith a Moabitess.

24:26 Naày laø nhöõng keû daáy nghòch cuøng ngöôøi: Xa-baùt, con trai cuûa Si-meâ-aùt, laø ñôøn baø Am-moân, vaø Gioâ-xa-baùt, con trai Sim-rít, laø ñôøn baø Moâ-aùp.

24:27 Now concerning his sons, and the greatness of the burdens laid upon him, and the repairing of the house of God, behold, they are written in the story of the book of the kings. And Amaziah his son reigned in his position.

24:27 Coøn veà vieäc caùc con trai ngöôøi, soá coáng thueá ngöôøi phaûi noäp, vaø cuoäc tu boå ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, thaûy ñeàu cheùp trong saùch truyeän caùc vua. A-ma-xia, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

25:1 Amaziah was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned twenty and nine years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Jehoaddan of Jerusalem.

25:1 A-ma-xia ñöôïc hai möôi laêm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò hai möôi chín naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; meï ngöôøi teân laø Gioâ -a-ñan, queâ ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

25:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, but not with a perfect heart.

25:2 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu thieän taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, song loøng khoâng ñöôïc troïn laønh.

25:3 Now it came to pass, when the kingdom was established to him, that he slew his servants that had killed the king his father.

25:3 Xaûy khi nöôùc ngöôøi ñöôïc vöõng chaéc, thì ngöôøi xöû töû nhöõng ñaày tôù ñaõ gieát cha mình.

25:4 But he slew not their children, but did as it is written in the law in the book of Moses, where the LORD commanded, saying, The fathers shall not die for the children, neither shall the children die for the fathers, but every man shall die for his own sin.

25:4 Nhöng ngöôøi khoâng xöû töû caùc con trai chuùng, theo ñieàu ñaõ cheùp trong saùch luaät phaùp cuûa Moâi-se, nhö Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn daën raèng: Cha seõ chaúng phaûi cheát vì con, con cuõng seõ chaúng phaûi cheát vì cha; song moãi ngöôøi seõ cheát vì toäi mình.

25:5 Moreover Amaziah gathered Judah together, and made them captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, according to the houses of their fathers, throughout all Judah and Benjamin: and he numbered them from twenty years old and above, and found them three hundred thousand choice men, able to go forth to war, that could handle spear and shield.

25:5 A-ma-xia nhoùm nhöõng ngöôøi Giu-ña, cöù theo hoï haøng cuûa toå phuï Giu-ña vaø Beân-gia-min, maø laäp nhöõng quan töôùng cai ngaøn ngöôøi vaø cai traêm ngöôøi; laïi tu boä nhöõng ngöôøi töø hai möôi tuoåi saáp leân, soá coïng ñöôïc ba möôi vaïn ngöôøi keùn choïn ra traän ñöôïc cuøng coù taøi caàm giaùo vaø khieân.

25:6 He hired also an hundred thousand mighty men of valour out of Israel for an hundred talents of silver.

25:6 Ngöôøi cuõng moä möôøi vaïn ngöôøi maïnh daïn trong Y-sô-ra-eân, giaù moät traêm ta laâng baïc.

25:7 But there came a man of God to him, saying, O king, let not the army of Israel go with you; for the LORD is not with Israel, to know, with all the children of Ephraim.

25:7 Nhöng coù ngöôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñeán noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi vua! ñaïo binh Y-sô-ra-eân chôù keùo ñi vôùi vua; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va chaúng ôû cuøng Y-sô-ra-eân, chaúng ôû cuøng caùc con chaùu Eùp-ra-im.

25:8 But if you will go, do it; be strong for the battle: God shall make you fall before the enemy: for God has power to help, and to cast down.

25:8 Coøn neáu vua muoán ñi, thì haõy ñi ñi khaù laøm cho mình maïnh meõ maø chinh chieán ñi; Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi seõ khieán vua ngaõ tröôùc maët quaân thuø; vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù quyeàn giuùp cho thaéng vaø cuõng coù quyeàn laøm cho sa baïi.

25:9 And Amaziah said to the man of God, But what shall we do for the hundred talents which I have given to the army of Israel? And the man of God answered, The LORD is able to give you much more than this.

25:9 A-ma-xia noùi vôùi ngöôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi raèng: Coøn veà moät traêm ta laâng baïc kia, maø ta ñaõ phaùt cho ñaïo binh Y-sô-ra-eân, thì phaûi laøm sao? Ngöôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaùp: Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù theå ban cho vua nhieàu hôn soá aáy.

25:10 Then Amaziah separated them, to know, the army that was come to him out of Ephraim, to go home again: wherefore their anger was greatly kindled against Judah, and they returned home in great anger.

25:10 Vaäy, A-ma-xia phaân reõ ñaïo binh ñaõ töø Eùp-ra-im ñeán cuøng ngöôøi, cho chuùng trôû veà nhaø; taïi côù aáy, chuùng giaän Giu-ña laém, vaø trôû veà nhaø laáy laøm noùng giaän phöøng.

25:11 And Amaziah strengthened himself, and led forth his people, and went to the valley of salt, and stroke of the children of Seir ten thousand.

25:11 A-ma-xia laøm daïn dó, keùo daân söï mình ñeán truõng Muoái, ñaùnh moät vaïn ngöôøi cuûa daân Seâ -i-rô.

25:12 And other ten thousand left alive did the children of Judah carry away captive, and brought them unto the top of the rock, and cast them down from the top of the rock, that they all were broken in pieces.

25:12 Daân Giu-ña baét soáng moät vaïn ngöôøi ñem chuùng noù leân treân choùt hoøn ñaù, roài töø treân choùt hoøn ñaù xoâ chuùng noù xuoáng, thaûy ñeàu bò giaäp cheát heát.

25:13 But the soldiers of the army which Amaziah sent back, that they should not go with him to battle, fell upon the cities of Judah, from Samaria even unto Bethhoron, and stroke three thousand of them, and took much spoil.

25:13 Coøn ñaïo binh maø A-ma-xia khieán trôû veà, khoâng cho ñi ra traän vôùi mình, thì xoâng vaøo caùc thaønh Giu-ña, töø Sa-ma-ri cho ñeán Beát-Hoâ-roân, ñaùnh gieát ba ngaøn ngöôøi taïi ñoù, vaø cöôùp laáy nhieàu cuûa caûi.

25:14 Now it came to pass, after that Amaziah was come from the slaughter of the Edomites, that he brought the gods of the children of Seir, and set them up to be his gods, and bowed down himself before them, and burned incense unto them.

25:14 Khi ñaùnh ñöôïc daân EÂ-ñoâm trôû veà, thì ñem caùc thaàn cuûa daân Seâ -i-rô veà, laäp leân laøm thaàn cuûa mình, quì laïy tröôùc maët chuùng noù, vaø ñoát höông cho.

25:15 Wherefore the anger of the LORD was kindled against Amaziah, and he sent unto him a prophet, which said unto him, Why have you sought after the gods of the people, which could not deliver their own people out of yours hand?

25:15 Vì vaäy, côn thaïnh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va noåi leân cuøng A-ma-xia, Ngaøi sai moät ñaáng tieân tri ñeán noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Côù sao ngöôi ñi caàu caùc thaàn khoâng giaûi cöùu ñöôïc daân toäc thôø laïy chuùng noù khoûi tay ngöôi?

25:16 And it came to pass, as he talked with him, that the king said unto him, Are you made of the king's counsel? forbear; why should you be smitten? Then the prophet ceased, and said, I know that God has determined to destroy you, because you have done this, and have not hearkened unto my counsel.

25:16 Xaûy khi ñaáng tieân tri taâu vôùi vua, thì vua baûo ngöôøi raèng: Ta haù laäp ngöôi laøm möu só cho vua sao? Haõy thoâi ñi, keûo ta ñaùnh ngöôi chaêng Ñaáng tieân tri beøn thoâi, vaø noùi raèng: Toâi bieát raèng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ quyeát ñònh huûy dieät vua, bôûi vì vua ñaõ laøm ñieàu aáy, vaø khoâng nghe lôøi toâi.

25:17 Then Amaziah king of Judah took advice, and sent to Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, the son of Jehu, king of Israel, saying, Come, let us see one another in the face.

25:17 A-ma-xia, vua Giu-ña, möu nghò roài, thì sai ñeán Gioâ-aùch, con trai Gioâ -a-cha, chaùu Gieâ-hu, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, maø noùi raèng: Haõy ñeán, ñeå chuùng ta thaáy nhau.

25:18 And Joash king of Israel sent to Amaziah king of Judah, saying, The thistle that was in Lebanon sent to the cedar that was in Lebanon, saying, Give your daughter to my son to wife: and there passed by a wild beast that was in Lebanon, and trode down the thistle.

25:18 Gioâ-aùch, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, sai söù ñeán A-ma-xia, vua Giu-ña, maø noùi raèng: Caây gai ôû Li-ban coù sai ñeán noùi vôùi caây baù höông ôû Li-ban raèng: Haõy gaû con gaùi ngöôi cho con trai ta laøm vôï. Song coù moät con thuù ñoàng ôû Li-ban ñi ngang qua, giaøy ñaïp caây gai ñi.

25:19 You says, Lo, you have smitten the Edomites; and yours heart lifts you up to boast: abide now at home; why should you meddle to yours hurt, that you should fall, even you, and Judah with you?

25:19 Ngöôi noùi: Naày ta ñaõ ñaùnh EÂ-ñoâm! Loøng ngöôi laïi töï cao töï khoe. Baây giôø, khaù ôû trong nhaø ngöôi, côù sao laøm cho mình maéc hoïa, vaø khieán cho ngöôi vaø Giu-ña phaûi sa ngaõ?

25:20 But Amaziah would not hear; for it came of God, that he might deliver them into the hand of their enemies, because they sought after the gods of Edom.

25:20 A-ma-xia khoâng nghe lôøi, vì ñieàu ñoù do yù Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñeå phoù chuùng vaøo tay keû thuø nghòch, bôûi vì chuùng coù tìm kieám caùc thaàn cuûa EÂ-ñoâm.

25:21 So Joash the king of Israel went up; and they saw one another in the face, both he and Amaziah king of Judah, at Bethshemesh, which belongs to Judah.

25:21 Gioâ-aùch, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, keùo leân; ngöôøi vaø A-ma-xia, vua Giu-ña, beøn thaáy nhau taïi Beát-seâ-meát trong xöù Giu-ña.

25:22 And Judah was put to the worse before Israel, and they fled every man to his tent.

25:22 Quaân Giu-ña bò quaân Y-sô-ra-eân ñaùnh ñuoåi, beøn chaïy troán, ai veà traïi naáy.

25:23 And Joash the king of Israel took Amaziah king of Judah, the son of Joash, the son of Jehoahaz, at Bethshemesh, and brought him to Jerusalem, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem from the gate of Ephraim to the corner gate, four hundred cubits.

25:23 Taïi Beát-seâ-meát, Gioâ-aùch vua Y-sô-ra-eân, baét A-ma-xia, vua Giu-ña, con trai Gioâ-aùch, chaùu Gioâ -a-cha, ñieäu ngöôøi veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñoaïn ngöôøi phaù cöûa Goùc, moät khuùc daøi boán traêm thöôùc.

25:24 And he took all the gold and the silver, and all the vessels that were found in the house of God with Obededom, and the treasures of the king's house, the hostages also, and returned to Samaria.

25:24 Ngöôøi laáy heát vaøng, baïc, vaø nhöõng khí duïng ôû trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, coù OÂ-beát-EÂ-ñoâm coi giöõ, cuøng caùc böûu vaät cuûa cung vua; ngöôøi cuõng baét keû caàm laøm tin, roài trôû veà Sa-ma-ri.

25:25 And Amaziah the son of Joash king of Judah lived after the death of Joash son of Jehoahaz king of Israel fifteen years.

25:25 A-ma-xia, con trai Gioâ-aùch, vua Giu-ñam coøn soáng möôøi laêm naêm nöõa, sau khi Gioâ -a-cha, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, ñaõ baêng haø.

25:26 Now the rest of the acts of Amaziah, first and last, behold, are they not written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel?

25:26 Caùc coâng vieäc khaùc cuûa A-ma-xia töø ñaàu ñeán cuoái, ñeàu ñaõ cheùp trong saùch caùc vua Giu-ña vaø Y-sô-ra-eân.

25:27 Now after the time that Amaziah did turn away from following the LORD they made a conspiracy against him in Jerusalem; and he fled to Lachish: but they sent to Lachish after him, and slew him there.

25:27 Vaû töø khi A-ma-xia xaây boû Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va veà sau, thì coù ngöôøi phaûn nghòch cuøng ngöôøi taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ngöôøi beøn chaïy troán ñeán La-ki; song ngöôøi ta sai ñuoåi theo ngöôøi ñeán La-ki, vaø gieát ngöôøi taïi ñoù.

25:28 And they brought him upon horses, and buried him with his fathers in the city of Judah.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

26:1 Then all the people of Judah took Uzziah, who was sixteen years old, and made him king in the room of his father Amaziah.

26:1 Caû daân Giu-ña ñeàu laäp OÂ-xia laøm vua theá cho A-ma-xia, cha ngöôøi; tuoåi ngöôøi ñöôïc möôøi saùu.

26:2 He built Eloth, and restored it to Judah, after that the king slept with his fathers.

26:2 Sau khi vua cha ñaõ an giaác vôùi caùc toå phuï, ngöôøi xaây caát EÂ-loát, vaø khoâi phuïc noù cho Giu-ña.

26:3 Sixteen years old was Uzziah when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and two years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jecoliah of Jerusalem.

26:3 OÂ-xia ñöôïc möôøi saùu tuoåi, khi ngöôøi leân laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò naêm möôi hai naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lam; meï ngöôøi teân laø Gieâ-coâ-lia, queâ ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

26:4 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Amaziah did.

26:4 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, y theo moïi ñieàu A-ma-xia, cha ngöôøi ñaõ laøm.

26:5 And he sought God in the days of Zechariah, who had understanding in the visions of God: and as long as he sought the LORD, God made him to prosper.

26:5 Trong ñôøi Xa-cha-ri, laø ngöôøi thoâng hieåu caùc dò töôïng cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, thì OÂ-xia raép loøng tìm kieám Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; vaø ngöôøi tìm kieám bao laâu; thì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khieán cho ngöôøi ñaëng may maén baáy laâu.

26:6 And he went forth and warred against the Philistines, and brake down the wall of Gath, and the wall of Jabneh, and the wall of Ashdod, and built cities about Ashdod, and among the Philistines.

26:6 Ngöôøi keùo ra chieán tranh vôùi daân Phi-li-tin ñaùnh ñoå töôøng thaønh Gaùt, töôøng thaønh Giaùp-neâ, vaø töôøng thaønh Aùch-ñoát; ngöôøi xaây caát nhöõng thaønh trong ñòa haït Aùch-ñoát vaø taïi ñaát ngöôøi Phi-li-tin.

26:7 And God helped him against the Philistines, and against the Arabians that dwelt in Gurbaal, and the Mehunims.

26:7 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi giuùp ñôõ ngöôøi ñöôïc thaéng daân Phi-li-tin, daân A raïp ôû taïi Gu-rô-Ba-anh, vaø daân Ma-oân.

26:8 And the Ammonites gave gifts to Uzziah: and his name spread abroad even to the entering in of Egypt; for he strengthened himself exceedingly.

26:8 Daân Am-moân cuõng tieán coáng cho OÂ-xia; danh tieáng ngöôøi ñoàn ñeán coõi EÂ-díp-toâ, vì ngöôøi ñaõ trôû neân raát cöôøng thaïnh.

26:9 Moreover Uzziah built towers in Jerusalem at the corner gate, and at the valley gate, and at the turning of the wall, and fortified them.

26:9 OÂ-xia cuõng xaây nhöõng thaùp taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, treân cöûa Goùc, treân cöûa Truõng, vaø treân Goùc töôøng, laøm cho noù vöõng chaéc.

26:10 Also he built towers in the desert, and dug many wells: for he had much cattle, both in the low country, and in the plains: husbandmen also, and vine dressers in the mountains, and in Carmel: for he loved farming.

26:10 Ngöôøi cuõng caát nhöõng thaùo trong ñoàng vaéng, ñaøo nhieàu gieáng, vì coù nhieàu suùc vaät trong ñoàng baèng vaø treân ñoàng cao; cuõng coù nhöõng ngöôøi laøm ruoäng, keû troàng nho treân nuùi vaø taïi Caït-meân, vì ngöôøi thích vieäc canh noâng.

26:11 Moreover Uzziah had an host of fighting men, that went out to war by bands, according to the number of their account by the hand of Jeiel the scribe and Maaseiah the ruler, under the hand of Hananiah, one of the king's captains.

26:11 OÂ-xia coù moät ñaïo binh ñaën ñi chinh chieán, keùo ra traän töø toáp, tuøy soá tu boä maø thô kyù Gieâ-hi-eân, vaø quan giaùm thò Ma -a-xeâ-gia ñaõ laøm, coù Ha-na-nia, ñaïi thaàn cuûa vua, cai quaûn.

26:12 The whole number of the chief of the fathers of the mighty men of valour were two thousand and six hundred.

26:12 Troïn soá caùc tröôûng toäc, töùc laø nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh daïn, laø hai ngaøn saùu traêm ngöôøi.

26:13 And under their hand was an army, three hundred thousand and seven thousand and five hundred, that made war with mighty power, to help the king against the enemy.

26:13 Chuùng quaûn laõnh moät ñaïo binh ba möôi vaïn baûy ngaøn saùu traêm ngöôøi, ñeàu hay ñaùnh giaëc caùch maïnh daïn, haàu giuùp vua ñoái ñòch vôùi cöøu ñòch.

26:14 And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons, and bows, and slings to cast stones.

26:14 OÂ-xia saém söûa cho caû ñaïo binh nhöõng khieân, giaùo, muõ, giaùp, cung, vaø nhöõng ñaù traønh.

26:15 And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones likewise. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

26:15 ÔÛ Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ngöôøi khieán tay kyõ sö cheá taïo nhöõng maùy duøng ñaët treân caùc thaùp, vaø treân choùt ñoàn luõy, ñaëng baén teân vaø ñaù lôùn. Danh tieáng ngöôøi ñoàn ra phöông xa; bôûi vì ngöôøi ñöôïc Chuùa giuùp ñôõ caùch laï thöôøng, cho ñeán trôû neân cöôøng thaïnh.

26:16 But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed against the LORD his God, and went into the temple of the LORD to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

26:16 Song khi ngöôøi ñöôïc trôû neân cöôøng thaïnh, loøng beøn kieâu ngaïo, ñeán ñoãi laøm aùc, phaïm toäi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa ngöôøi; vì ngöôøi vaøo trong ñeàn thôø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, xoâng höông treân baøn thôø xoâng höông.

26:17 And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of the LORD, that were valiant men:

26:17 Thaày teá leã A-xa-ria vaøo sau ngöôøi, coù taùm möôi thaày teá leã, ñeàu laø ngöôøi maïnh daïn, ñoàng ñi theo.

26:18 And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertains not unto you, Uzziah, to burn incense unto the LORD, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for you have trespassed; neither shall it be for yours honour from the LORD God.

26:18 Chuùng caûn cöï vua OÂ-xia maø raèng: Hôõi vua, chaúng phaûi phaàn vua xoâng höông cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaâu, beøn laø phaàn cuûa nhöõng thaày teá leã, con chaùu A-roân, ñaõ ñöôïc bieät rieâng ra thaùnh ñaëng xoâng höông vaäy. Haõy ñi ra khoûi ñeàn thaùnh, vì vua ñaõ phaïm toäi; laïi vì vieäc naøy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va seõ chaúng laøm cho vua ñöôïc vinh hieån ñaâu

26:19 Then Uzziah was angry, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was angry with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of the LORD, from beside the incense altar.

26:19 OÂ-xia beøn noåi giaän; ngöôøi caàm nôi tay moät caùi bình höông toan xoâng höông; vaø ñang khi ngöôøi noåi giaän cuøng nhöõng thaày teá leã, phung beøn noåi leân nôi traùn ngöôøi tröôùc maët nhöõng thaày teá leã, taïi trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ôû gaàn beân baøn thôø xoâng höông.

26:20 And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because the LORD had smitten him.

26:20 A-xa-ria, thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm, vaø heát thaûy thaày teá leã khaùc ngoù xem ngöôøi, thaáy ngöôøi bò bònh phung ôû nôi traùn, beøn ñuoåi ngöôøi ra khoûi ñoù; vaø chính ngöôøi cuõng laät ñaät ra, vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va haønh haïi ngöôøi.

26:21 And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of the LORD: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

26:21 OÂ-xia bò bònh phung cho ñeán ngaøy baêng haø; vaø vì bò phung phaûi ôû rieâng ra trong moät nhaø khaùc, chaúng coøn ñöôïc vaøo ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nöõa; Gioâ-tham, con trai ngöôøi, quaûn lyù cung vua, vaø xeùt ñoaùn daân söï cuûa nöôùc.

26:22 Now the rest of the acts of Uzziah, first and last, did Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, write.

26:22 Ñaáng tieân tri EÂ-sai, con trai cuûa A-moát, ñaõ bieân cheùp caùc coâng söï khaùc cuûa OÂ-xia töø ñaàu ñeán cuoái.

26:23 So Uzziah slept with his fathers, and they buried him with his fathers in the field of the burial which belonged to the kings; for they said, He is a leper: and Jotham his son reigned in his position.

26:23 OÂ-xia an giaác cuøng toå phuï ngöôøi, vaø ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi chung vôùi toå phuï ngöôøi taïi ruoäng laêng taåm cuûa caùc vua; vì ngöôøi ta noùi raèng: Ngöôøi bò phung. Gioâ-tham, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

27:1 Jotham was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Jerushah, the daughter of Zadok.

27:1 Gioâ-tham ñöôïc hai möôi laêm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø ngöôøi cai trò möôøi saùu naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; meï ngöôøi teân laø Gieâ-ru-sa, con gaùi cuûa Xa-ñoác.

27:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that his father Uzziah did: nevertheless he entered not into the temple of the LORD. And the people did yet corruptly.

27:2 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, y theo moïi ñieàu OÂ-xia, cha ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm; song ngöôøi khoâng vaøo ñeàn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; coøn daân söï laïi caøng laøm luoâng tuoàng nöõa.

27:3 He built the high gate of the house of the LORD, and on the wall of Ophel he built much.

27:3 Ngöôøi xaây cöûa treân cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø xaây nhieàu treân töôøng thaønh OÂ-pheân.

27:4 Moreover he built cities in the mountains of Judah, and in the forests he built castles and towers.

27:4 Ngöôøi cuõng xaây nhöõng thaønh trong mieàn nuùi Giu-ña, vaø ñeàn ñaøi cuøng nhöõng thaùp ôû treân röøng.

27:5 He fought also with the king of the Ammonites, and prevailed against them. And the children of Ammon gave him the same year an hundred talents of silver, and ten thousand measures of wheat, and ten thousand of barley. So much did the children of Ammon pay unto him, both the second year, and the third.

27:5 Ngöôøi ñaùnh giaëc vôùi vua daân Am-moân, vaø thaéng ñöôïc chuùng. Trong naêm ñoù, daân Am-moân noäp cho ngöôøi moät traêm ta laâng baïc moät vaïn coâ-rô luùa mieán, vaø moät vaïn coâ-rô luùc maïch. Trong naêm thöù nhì vaø thöù ba, daân Am-moân cuõng tieán coáng ngöôøi soá aáy.

27:6 So Jotham became mighty, because he prepared his ways before the LORD his God.

27:6 Vaäy, Gioâ-tham trôû neân cöôøng thaïnh, bôûi vì ngöôøi ñi ñöôøng chaùnh ñaùng tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi mình.

27:7 Now the rest of the acts of Jotham, and all his wars, and his ways, lo, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah.

27:7 Caùc coâng vieäc khaùc cuûa Gioâ-tham, heát thaûy nhöõng chieán traän vaø ñöôøng loái cuûa ngöôøi, ñeàu cheùp trong saùch caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân vaø Giu-ña.

27:8 He was five and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem.

27:8 Ngöôøi ñöôïc hai möôi laêm tuoåi khi leân laøm vua, vaø ngöôøi cai trò möôøi saùu naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

27:9 And Jotham slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Ahaz his son reigned in his position.

27:9 Ngöôøi an giaác cuøng toå tieân mình, ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi taïi trong thaønh Ña-vít; ñoaïn A-cha, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the LORD, like David his father:

28:1 A-cha ñöôïc hai möôi tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò möôøi saùu naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, chaúng laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va y nhö Ña-vít, toå phuï ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm;

28:2 For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten images for Baalim.

28:2 nhöng ngöôøi ñi theo ñöôøng loái cuûa caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân, laïi cuõng laøm nhöõng hình töôïng ñuùc cho thaàn Ba-anh,

28:3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

28:3 ñoát höông trong truõng con Hi-noâm, vaø thieâu con caùi mình nôi löûa, theo söï gôùm ghieác cuûa caùc daân toäc maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ ñuoåi khoûi tröôùc maët daân Y-ñô-ra-eân.

28:4 He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the hills, and under every green tree.

28:4 Ngöôøi daâng cuûa leã vaø xoâng höông treân caùc nôi cao, treân caùc goø noång vaø döôùi caùc caây raäm.

28:5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of Syria; and they stroke him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives, and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the king of Israel, who stroke him with a great slaughter.

28:5 Vì vaäy, Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôøi phoù ngöôøi vaøo tay vua Sy-ri; quaân Sy-ri ñaùnh ñöôïc ngöôøi, baét trong daân ngöôøi raát nhieàu phu tuø, vaø daãn veà Ña-maùch, Ngöôøi cuõng bò phoù vaøo tay cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, laøm cho ngöôøi phaûi thaát traän caû theå.

28:6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God of their fathers.

28:6 Vaû, Pheâ-ca, con trai cuûa Reâ-ma-lia, gieát trong moät ngaøy möôøi hai vaïn ngöôøi Giu-ña, thaûy ñeàu laø ngöôøi maïnh daïn; bôûi vì chuùng ñaõ lìa boû Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï mình.

28:7 And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.

28:7 Xieác-ri, moät ngöôøi maïnh daïn ôû ñaát Eùp-ra-im, gieát Ma -a-xeâ-gia, con trai vua, A-ri-kham, quan cai cung vua, vaø Eân-ca-na, quan teå töôùng.

28:8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.

28:8 Ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân baét trong anh em mình hai möôi vaïn phu tuø, caû ñôøn baø, con trai, con gaùi; cuõng cöôùp laáy nhieàu cuûa caûi maø ñem veà Sa-ma-ri.

28:9 But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because the LORD God of your fathers was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into your hand, and all of you have slain them in a rage that reachs up unto heaven.

28:9 ÔÛ taïi ñoù, coù moät ñaáng tieân tri cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, teân laø OÂ-ñeát, ñi ra ñoùn ñaïo binh ñang trôû veà Sa-ma-ri, maø noùi raèng: Naày bôûi vì Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï caùc ngöôi noåi giaän cuøng Giu-ña, neân Ngaøi ñaõ phoù chuùng vaøo tay caùc ngöôi, caùc ngöôi coù gieát chuùng trong côn caêm giaän döõ quaù ñeán ñoãi thaáu ñeán trôøi.

28:10 And now all of you purpose to keep under the children of Judah and Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even with you, sins against the LORD your God?

28:10 Baây giôø, caùc ngöôi laïi toan baét phuïc caùc ngöôøi Giu-ña vaø ngöôøi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem laøm toâi trai tôù gaùi cho caùc ngöi sao! Coøn veà caùc ngöôi, caùc ngöôi haù chaúng coù phaïm toäi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi sao?

28:11 Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which all of you have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is upon you.

28:11 Vaäy baây giôø, khaù nghe ta, cho veà nhöõng phu tuø maø caùc ngöôi ñaõ baét trong anh em caùc ngöôi vì côn giaän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va noåi phöøng cuøng caùc ngöôi.

28:12 Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum, and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,

28:12 Khi aáy, coù maáy ngöôøi trong caùc quan tröôûng cuûa daân Eùp-ra-im, laø A-xa-ria, con trai cuûa Gioâ-ha-nan, Beâ-reâ-kia, con trai cuûa meâ-si-leâ-moát, EÂ-xeâ-chia, con trai cuûa Sa-lum, vaø A-ma-sa con trai cuûa Haùt-lai, ñeàu ñöùng daäy nghòch cuøng nhöõng keû ñi ñaùnh giaëc trôû veà, maø raèng:

28:13 And said unto them, All of you shall not bring in the captives here: for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, all of you intend to add more to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there is fierce wrath against Israel.

28:13 Caùc ngöôi chôù ñem nhöõng phu tuø vaøo ñaây; vì caùc ngöôi toan laøm ñieàu gaây cho chuùng ta maéc toäi cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñaëng gia theâm vaøo toäi vaø aùc cuûa chuùng ta; vì toäi loãi chuùng ta thaät lôùn vaø Chuùa noåi giaän phöøng phöøng cuøng Y-sô-ra-eân

28:14 So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes and all the congregation.

28:14 Quaân lính beøn thaû caùc phu tuø vaø boû cuûa caûi taïi tröôùc maët caùc quan tröôûng vaø caû hoäi chuùng.

28:15 And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives, and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them, and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.

28:15 Nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ keå teân tröôùc ñaây, beøn choåi daäy, daãn caùc phu tuø ra, laáy cuûa cöôùp maëc cho caùc ngöôøi trong hoï bò traàn truoàng; chuùng maëc quaàn aùo vaø mang giaøy cho hoï, cho aên, uoáng, vaø xöùc daàu cho, cuøng ñeå nhöõng ngöôøi yeáu ñuoái côõi löøa, roài ñöa hoï veà cuøng anh em mình, ñeán Gieâ-ri-coâ, thaønh caây chaø laø; ñoaïn chuùng trôû veà Sa-ma-ri.

28:16 At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him.

28:16 Trong luùc ñoù, vua A-cha sai söù ñi caàu vua A-si-ri tieáp cöùu mình

28:17 For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.

28:17 Vì daân EÂ-ñoâm ñaõ trôû laïi ñaùnh Giu-ña vaø baét daãn nhöõng phu tuø veà.

28:18 The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.

28:18 Daân Phi-li-tin cuõng xoâng vaøo caùc thaønh taïi xöù ñoàng baèng vaø taïi mieàn nam xöù Giu-ña, chieám laáy Beát-seâ-meát, A-gia-loân, Gheâ-ñeâ-roát, Soâ-coâ, vaø caùc laøng ñòa haït noù, Thim-na vaø caùc laøng ñòa haït noù, Ghim-xoâ vaø caùc laøng ñòa haït noù, roài chuùng noù ôû taïi caùc nôi aáy.

28:19 For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD.

28:19 Bôûi côù A-cha, vua Giu-ña, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù haï Giu-ña xuoáng, vì A-cha ñaõ xui cho daân Giu-ña buoâng tuoàng, vaø phaïm toäi naëng cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

28:20 And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not.

28:20 Tieác-laùt Phim-neâ-se, vua A-si-ri, ñeán cuøng ngöôøi, vaø haø hieáp ngöôøi, song chaúng tieáp cöùu chuùt naøo.

28:21 For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.

28:21 A-cha thaâu laáy nhöõng ñoà nôi ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, trong cung vua, vaø trong nhaø caùc quan tröôûng, roài giao vaät aáy cho vua A-si-ri; song ngöôøi cuõng khoâng tieáp cöùu.

28:22 And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the LORD: this is that king Ahaz.

28:22 Trong côn hoaïn naïn, vua A-cha laïi caøng phaïm toäi cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va;

28:23 For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which stroke him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.

28:24 And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.

28:24 A-cha goùp laáy caùc khí duïng cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaäp beå noù ra, vaø ñoùng caùc cöûa ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; ñoaïn laäp laáy cho mình nhöõng baøn thôø trong moãi nôi xoù goùc cuûa thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

28:25 And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.

28:25 Trong caùc thaønh xöù Giu-ña, ngöôøi döïng leân nhöõng nôi cao ñaëng xoâng höông cho caùc thaàn khaùc maø choïc giaän Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï ngöôøi.

28:26 Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

28:26 Vaû, caùc chuyeän khaùc cuûa ngöôøi, thoùi aên caùch ôû ngöôøi töø ñaàu ñeán cuoái, ñeàu cheùp trong saùch caùc vua Giu-ña vaø Y-sô-ra-eân.

28:27 And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchers of the kings of Israel: and Hezekiah his son reigned in his position.

28:27 A-cha an giaác cuøng toå phuï mình, vaø ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi trong thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; song khoâng ñeå ngöôøi nôi laêng taåm caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân. EÂ-xeâ-chia con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

29:1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.

29:1 EÂ-xeâ-chia ñöôïc hai laêm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò hai möôi chín naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; meï ngöôøi teân laø A-bi-gia, con gaùi cuûa Xa-cha-ri.

29:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according to all that David his father had done.

29:2 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, y theo moïi ñieàu Ña-vít, toå phuï ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm.

29:3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.

29:3 Thaùng gieâng naêm ñaàu ngöôøi trò vì, ngöôøi môû caùc cöûa ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø söûa sang laïi.

29:4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,

29:4 Ngöôøi ñoøi nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi ñeán, hieäp chuùng laïi taïi nôi phoá phía ñoâng,

29:5 And said unto them, Hear me, all of you Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

29:5 maø baûo raèng: Hôõi ngöôøi Leâ-vi, haõy nghe ta! Baây giôø khaù doïn mình ra thaùnh, vaø doïn ñeàn cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi cho thaùnh saïch, cuøng caát nhöõng ñieàu dô daùy khoûi nôi ñeàn thaùnh ñi.

29:6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.

29:6 Vì caùc toå phuï chuùng ta ñaõ phaïm toäi, laøm ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta, lìa boû Ngaøi, ngaûnh maët khoûi nôi ngöï cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø xaây löng laïi Ngaøi.

29:7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps, and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto the God of Israel.

29:7 Chuùng laïi ñoùng caùc hieân cöûa, taét caùc ñeøn, khoâng xoâng höông vaø khoâng daâng cuûa leã thieâu taïi nôi thaùnh cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

29:8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as all of you see with your eyes.

29:8 Vì vaäy côn thaïnh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va giaùng treân Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø Ngaøi phoù chuùng vaøo söï khoå sôû, söï baïi hoaïi, vaø söï cheâ bai, y nhö caùc ngöôi ñaõ thaáy taän maét mình.

29:9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.

29:9 Naày, vì côù aáy maø caùc toå phuï ta bò göôm ngaõ cheát, caùc con trai, con gaùi, vaø vôï ta, phaûi bò baét daãn ñi laøm phu tuø.

29:10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel, that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.

29:10 Baây giôø, ta coù yù laäp giao öôùc cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, ñeå côn thaïnh noä Ngaøi lìa khoûi chuùng ta.

29:11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD has chosen you to stand before him, to serve him, and that all of you should minister unto him, and burn incense.

29:11 Hôõi caùc con, chôù trì höôõn nöõa, vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va coù choïn caùc ngöôi laøm ñaày tôù Ngaøi, ñeå ñöùng tröôùc maët Ngaøi, haàu vieäc vaø xoâng höông cho Ngaøi.

29:12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:

29:12 Nhöõng ngöôøi Leâ-vi beøn choåi daäy; veà doøng Keâ-aùt coù Ma-haùt, con cuûa A-ma-sai, vaø Gioâ-eân, con trai cuûa A-sa-ria; veà doøng Meâ-ra-ri coù Kích, con trai Aùp-ñi, vaø A-xa-ria, con trai Gieâ-ha-leâ-le; veà doøng Gheït-soân coù Gioâ -a, con trai cuûa Xim-ma, EÂ-ñen, con trai cuûa Gioâ -a;

29:13 And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:

29:13 veà doøng EÂ-lít-sa-phan coù Sim-ri vaø Gieâ -i-eân; veà doøng A-saùp coù Xa-cha-ri vaø Ma-tha-nia;

29:14 And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun; Shemaiah, and Uzziel.

29:14 veà doøng Heâ-man coù Gieâ-hi-eân vaø Si-meâ -i; veà doøng Gieâ-ñu-thun coù Seâ-ma-gia vaø U-xi-eân.

29:15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came, according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse the house of the LORD.

29:15 Chuùng hieäp anh em mình laïi, doïn mình cho saïch, roài cöù theo lònh vua truyeàn daïy, vaø lôøi phaùn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, hoï ñi vaøo laøm saïch ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

29:16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD, to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it, to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.

29:16 Nhöõng thaày teá leã ñi vaøo trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, ñaëng doïn noù cho saïch; phaøm ñieàu gì dô daùy thaáy ôû trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, hoï laáy lieäng ra ngoaøi ôû nôi haønh lang cuûa ñeàn; roài ngöôøi Leâ-vi laáy noù ñem quaêng ôû ngoaøi taïi trong khe Xeát-roân.

29:17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

29:17 Ngaøy moàng moät thaùng gieâng, chuùng khôûi vieäc doïn ñeàn cho saïch; qua ngaøy moàng taùm thaùng aáy, chuùng ñeán nôi hieân cöûa cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; trong taùm ngaøy hoï doïn ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cho saïch; vaø qua ngaøy möôøi saùu thaùng gieâng coâng vieäc laøm xong.

29:18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the showbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

29:18 Chuùng vaøo cung vua EÂ-xeâ-chia, maø noùi raèng: Chuùng toâi ñaõ doïn saïch caû ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, baøn thôø cuûa leã thieâu vaø caùc ñoà duøng noù, caùi baøn saép baùnh traàn thieát vaø caùc ñoà duøng noù;

29:19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of the LORD.

29:19 Laïi nhöõng khí duïng maø vua A-cha quaêng boû, trong ñôøi ngöôøi trò vì, luùc ngöôøi phaïm toäi, thì chuùng toâi ñaõ saép söûa laïi vaø doïn ra saïch; kìa, noù ôû tröôùc maët baøn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

29:20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city, and went up to the house of the LORD.

29:20 Vua EÂ-xeâ-chia daäy sôùm, nhoùm hieäp caùc quan tröôûng trong thaønh, vaø leân ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va;

29:21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the altar of the LORD.

29:21 ñem theo baûy con boø ñöïc, baûy con chieân ñöïc, baûy con chieân con, vaø baûy con deâ ñöïc ñaëng laøm cuûa leã chuoäc toäi cho nöôùc, cho ñeàn thaùnh, vaø cho Giu-ña. Vua bieåu nhöõng thaày teá leã, con chaùu cuûa A-roân, daâng caùc con sinh aáy treân baøn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

29:22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the blood upon the altar.

29:22 Chuùng beøn gieát caùc con boø ñöïc, thaày teá leã höùng laáy huyeát maø raûy treân baøn thôø; roài gieát caùc con chieân ñöïc vaø raûy huyeát treân baøn thôø; chuùng cuõng gieát caùc con chieân con, vaø raûy huyeát treân baøn thôø.

29:23 And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:

29:23 Ñoaïn, chuùng ñem caùc con deâ ñöïc duøng veà cuûa leã chuoäc toäi laïi gaàn taïi tröôùc maët vua vaø hoäi chuùng, ñaët tay mình treân chuùng noù,

29:24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.

29:24 roài, thaày teá leã gieát chuùng noù, höùng laáy huyeát raûy treân baøn thôø ñaëng laøm leã chuoäc toäi cho caû Y-sô-ra-eân; vì vua coù daïy raèng cuûa leã thieâu vaø cuûa leã chuoäc toäi phaûi daâng leân vì caû Y-sô-ra-eân.

29:25 And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD by his prophets.

29:25 Vua ñaët ngöôøi Leâ-vi ôû trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va caàm chaäp choûa, ñôøn caàm, ñôøn saét, tuøy theo leä ñònh cuûa Ña-vít, cuûa Gaùt, laø ñaáng tieân kieán cuûa vua, vaø cuûa tieân tri Na-than; vì leä ñònh aáy do nôi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va caäy caùc tieân tri Ngaøi maø daïy bieåu.

29:26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests with the trumpets.

29:26 Caùc ngöôøi Leâ-vi ñöùng caàm nhaïc khí cuûa Ña-vít, coøn nhöõng thaày teá leã caàm coøi.

29:27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar. And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.

29:27 EÂ-xeâ-chia truyeàn daâng cuûa leã thieâu, vaø ñöông luùc khôûi daâng cuûa leã thieâu, thì khôûi haùt baøi ca khen ngôïi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, coù coøi thoåi vaø nhaïc khí cuûa Ña-vít, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, hoïa theâm.

29:28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.

29:28 Caû hoäi chuùng thôø laïy, ngöôøi ca haùt ñeàu haùt, vaø keû thoåi keøn ñeàu thoåi keøn, cho ñeán ñaõ xoâng cuûa leã thieâu ñoaïn.

29:29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.

29:29 Khi daâng cuûa leã thieâu xong, vua vaø caùc ngöôøi ôû vôùi vua beøn cuùi xuoáng thôø laïy.

29:30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.

29:30 Vaû laïi, vua EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø caùc quan tröôûng bieåu ngöôøi Leâ-vi haùt ngôïi khen Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va baèng lôøi cuûa Ña-vít vaø cuûa A-saùp, laø ñaáng tieân kieán; chuùng beøn haùt ngôïi khen caùch vui möøng, roài cuùi ñaàu xuoáng maø thôø laïy.

29:31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now all of you have consecrated yourselves unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings; and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.

29:31 EÂ-xeâ-chia caát tieáng noùi raèng: Baây giôø caùc ngöôi ñaõ bieät mình rieâng ra thaùnh cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vaäy haõy ñeán gaàn, ñem nhöõng hi sinh vaø cuûa leã caûm taï vaøo trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Hoäi chuùng beøn daãn ñeán nhöõng hi sinh vaø cuûa leã caûm taï; coøn keû naøo vui loøng thì ñem daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu.

29:32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought, was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.

29:32 Soá con sinh duøng veà cuûa leã thieâu maø hoäi chuùng ñem ñeán laø baûy möôi con boø ñöïc, moät traêm con chieân ñöïc, vaø hai traêm con chieân con; hoï duøng caùc thuù ñoù laøm cuûa leã thieâu cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

29:33 And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.

29:33 Cuõng bieät rieâng ra thaùnh saùu traêm con boø ñöïc vaø ba ngaøn con tröøu.

29:34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.

29:34 Song thaày teá leã chæ coù ít quaù, khoâng ñuû loät da caùc con sinh duøng veà cuûa leã thieâu vì vaäy anh em hoï, laø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, beøn giuùp ñôõ hoï cho ñeán khi xong coâng vieäc, vaø nhöõng thaày teá leã ñaõ doïn mình thaùnh saïch; vì ngöôøi Leâ-vi coù loøng thaønh doïn mình thaùnh saïch hôn nhöõng thaày teá leã.

29:35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service of the house of the LORD was set in order.

29:35 Laïi cuõng coù nhieàu cuûa leã thieâu, môõ cuûa leã thuø aân, vaø leã quaùn caëp theo moãi cuûa leã thieâu. Vaäy, cuoäc teá leã trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ laäp laïi roài.

29:36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the people: for the thing was done suddenly.

29:36 EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø caû daân söï ñeàu vui möøng veà ñieàu Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ saém söûa cho daân söï; bôûi coâng vieäc aáy thình lình maø laøm thaønh.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

30:1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem, to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.

30:1 EÂ-xeâ-chia sai söù ñeán caû Y-sô-ra-eân vaø Giu-ña, cuõng vieát thô cho ngöôøi Eùp-ra-im vaø ngöôøi Ma-na-se, ñoøi chuùng tôùi ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñaëng giöõ leã Vöôït qua cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

30:2 For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.

30:2 Vua vaø caùc quan tröôûng cuøng caû hoäi chuùng ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem hoäi nghò nhau, ñònh döï leã Vöôït qua trong thaùng hai;

30:3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves together to Jerusalem.

30:3 vì chuùng khoâng theå döï leã trong luùc aáy, bôûi soá thaày teá leã doïn mình thaùnh saïch khoâng ñuû, vaø daân söï chöa nhoùm laïi taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

30:4 And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.

30:4 Vua vaø caû hoäi chuùng ñeàu laáy vieäc aáy laøm phaûi;

30:5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.

30:5 beøn nhaát ñònh rao truyeàn khaép xöù Y-sô-ra-eân, töø Beâ -e-Seâ-ba cho ñeán Ñan, khieán ngöôøi ta ñeán döï leã Vöôït qua cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; vì töø laâu nay chuùng khoâng coù döï leã aáy nhö ñaõ cheùp trong luaät leä.

30:6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, All of you children of Israel, return unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.

30:6 Vaäy, caùc traïm vaâng maïng ñem thô cuûa vua vaø cuûa caùc quan tröôûng ñi khaép xöù Y-sô-ra-eân vaø xöù Giu-ña, thô raèng: Hôõi con chaùu Y-sô-ra-eân, haõy trôû laïi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Aùp-ra-ham, cuûa Y-saùc vaø cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, haàu cho Ngaøi trôû laïi cuøng nhöõng keû coøn soùt laïi trong caùc ngöôi maø ñöôïc thoaùt khoûi tay caùc vua A-si-ri.

30:7 And be not all of you like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as all of you see.

30:7 Chôù neân gioáng nhö toå phuï vaø anh em caùc ngöôi ñaõ phaïm toäi cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï hoï, ñeán ñoãi Ngaøi phoù chuùng vaøo söï hö baïi, nhö caùc ngöôi ñaõ thaáy.

30:8 Now be all of you not stubborn, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified for ever: and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.

30:8 Baây giôø, chôù cöùng coå nhö toå phuï caùc ngöôi haõy giô tay mình ra cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaøo trong nôi thaùnh maø Ngaøi ñaõ bieät rieâng ra thaùnh ñôøi ñôøi, vaø haàu vieäc Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi, ñeå côn giaän phöøng cuûa Ngaøi xaây khoûi caùc ngöôi.

30:9 For if all of you return unto the LORD, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if all of you return unto him.

30:9 Vì neáu caùc ngöôi trôû laïi cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, thì anh em vaø con caùi cuûa caùc ngöôi seõ ñöôïc ôn tröôùc maët nhöõng keû baét hoï laøm phu tuø, vaø hoï seõ ñöôïc trôû veà trong xöù naøy; bôûi Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi coù loøng nhaân töø vaø hay thöông xoùt, seõ khoâng xaây maët khoûi caùc ngöôi, neáu caùc ngöôi trôû laïi cuøng Ngaøi.

30:10 So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.

30:10 Caùc traïm thaønh naøy qua thaønh kia, trong khaép xöù Eùp-ra-im, Ma-na-xe, vaø cho ñeán ñaát Sa-nu-loân; song ngöôøi ta cheâ cöôøi nhaïo baùng chuùng

30:11 Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves, and came to Jerusalem.

30:11 Daàu vaäy, cuõng coù maáy ngöôøi trong A-se, Ma-na-se, vaø Sa-bu-loân chòu haï mình xuoáng vaø ñeán Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

30:12 Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.

30:12 Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuõng caûm ñoäng ngöôøi Giu-ña, ñoàng loøng vaâng maïng lònh cuûa vua vaø caùc quan tröôûng ñaõ truyeàn ra, theo lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

30:13 And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened bread in the second month, a very great congregation.

30:13 Thaùng hai, coù nhieàu ngöôøi nhoùm laïi taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, moät hoäi raát ñoâng ñaûo, ñaëng giöõ leã baùnh khoâng men.

30:14 And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.

30:14 Chuùng choåi daäy, caát heát caùc baøn thôø ôû trong Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø nhöõng bình ñoát höông, roài ñem lieäng noù trong khe Xeát-roân.

30:15 Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month: and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.

30:15 Ngaøy möôøi boán thaùng hai, ngöôøi ta gieát con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua; coøn nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, thì laáy laøm hoå theïn, beøn doïn mình thanh saïch, vaø ñem nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu vaøo trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

30:16 And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received of the hand of the Levites.

30:16 Chuùng ñeàu ñöùng trong choã mình, theo thöôøng leä ñaõ ñònh trong luaät phaùp cuûa Moâi-se, ngöôøi cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi; vaø nhöõng thaày teá leã nhaän laáy huyeát nôi tay ngöôøi Leâ-vi maø raûy ra.

30:17 For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.

30:17 Trong hoäi chuùng coøn nhieàu ngöôøi chöa doïn mình thanh saïch; vì vaäy ngöôøi Leâ-vi phaûi gieát daâng con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua theá cho moãi ngöôøi khoâng thanh saïch, ñeå laøm hoï neân thanh saïch cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

30:18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh, Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good LORD pardon every one

30:18 Vì trong daân söï, nhaát laø trong daân Eùp-ra-im, Ma-na-se, Y-sa-ca, vaø Sa-bu-loân coù nhieàu ngöôøi khoâng doïn mình thanh saïch, laïi aên leã Vöôït qua, chaúng theo leä ñaõ cheùp; vì EÂ-xeâ-chia coù caàu nguyeän cho chuùng, maø raèng:

30:19 That prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.

30:19 Nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va laø Ñaáng nhaân töø, tha toäi cho nhöõng ngöôøi ñaõ heát loøng tìm kieám Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï hoï, maëc daàu khoâng theo leä taåy ueá cuûa ñeàn thaùnh maø doïn mình cho thanh saïch.

30:20 And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.

30:20 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va duû nghe lôøi caàu nguyeän cuûa EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø chöõa laønh cho daân söï.

30:21 And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto the LORD.

30:21 Nhöõng ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem giöõ leã baùnh khoâng men trong baûy ngaøy caùch vui veû; ngöôøi Leâ-vi vaø nhöõng thaày teá leã ngaøy naøy sang ngaøy kia, duøng nhaïc khí haùt möøng ngôïi khen Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

30:22 And Hezekiah spoke comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days, offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.

30:22 EÂ-xeâ-chia noùi an uûi loøng nhöõng ngöôøi Leâ-vi thoâng saùng hieåu bieát cuoäc thôø phöôïng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Chuùng aên leã trong baûy ngaøy, daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thuø aân, vaø caûm taï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï mình.

30:23 And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they kept other seven days with gladness.

30:23 Caû hoäi chuùng beøn quyeát ñònh giöõ leã theâm baûy ngaøy; roài chuùng vui veû giöõ theâm baûy ngaøy nöõa.

30:24 For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified themselves.

30:24 Vì EÂ-xeâ-chia, vua Giu-ña, ñaõ ban cho hoäi chuùng moät ngaøn con boø ñöïc vaø baûy ngaøn con chieân; caùc quan tröôûng cuõng ban cho hoäi chuùng moät ngaøn con boø ñöïc vaø möôøi ngaøn con chieân laïi coù nhieàu thaày teá leã doïn mình ra thanh saïch.

30:25 And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.

30:25 Caû hoäi chuùng Giu-ña vôùi nhöõng thaày teá leã, ngöôøi Leâ-vi, vaø hoäi chuùng ñeán töø Y-sô-ra-eân, cuøng nhöõng ngöôøi ngoaïi bang, keû thì kieàu nguï trong xöù Y-sô-ra-eân, ngöôøi thì kieàu nguï trong xöù Giu-ña, thaûy ñeàu vui möøng.

30:26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.

30:26 Aáy vaäy, ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem coù söï vui möøng caû theå; vì töø ñôøi Sa-loâ-moân, con trai Ña-vít, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, taïi thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem chaúng coù söï gì nhö vaäy.

30:27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto heaven.

30:27 Ñoaïn, nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi ñöùng daäy chuùc phöôùc cho daân söï; tieáng cuûa chuùng ñöôïc nhaäm, lôøi caàu nguyeän chuùng thaáu ñeán nôi ngöï thaùnh cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va treân caùc töøng trôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves, and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin, in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their own cities.

31:1 Khi caùc vieäc aáy ñaõ xong, nhöõng ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân coù maët taïi ñoù ñi ra caùc thaønh Giu-ña, ñaäp beå nhöõng truï thôø, ñaùnh ñoå caùc thaàn A-seâ-ra, phaù dôõ nhöõng nôi cao, vaø caùc baøn thôø trong khaép ñaát Giu-ña, Beân-gia-min, Eùp-ra-im, vaø Ma-na-se, cho ñeán khi ñaõ phaù huûy heát thaûy. Ñoaïn, heát thaûy daân Y-sô-ra-eân ai naáy ñeàu trôû veà thaønh mình, veà nôi saûn nghieäp mình.

31:2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.

31:2 EÂ-xeâ-chia laäp laïi caùc ban thöù cuûa nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø cuûa ngöôøi Leâ-vi, tuøy theo phaàn vieäc cuûa moãi ngöôøi ñaëng daâng cuûa leã thieâu vaø cuûa leã thuø aân, ñaëng phuïng söï, caûm taï, vaø haùt ngôïi khen Chuùa taïi nôi caùc cöûa traïi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

31:3 He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt offerings, to know, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as it is written in the law of the LORD.

31:3 Ngöôøi cuõng ñònh phaàn vua phaûi laáy trong taøi saûn mình ñaëng duøng laøm cuûa leã thieâu veà buoåi sôùm mai vaø buoåi chieàu, cuøng duøng veà nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu trong ngaøy sa-baùt, ngaøy moàng moät, vaø trong caùc naøy leã troïng theå, y nhö ñaõ cheùp trong luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

31:4 Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the law of the LORD.

31:4 Ngöôøi cuõng truyeàn cho daân söï ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, phaûi cung caáp phaàn cuûa nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, haàu cho chuùng chuyeän lo gìn giöõ luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

31:5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought in abundance the first-fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.

31:5 Khi chæ duï cuûa vua môùi truyeàn ra, thì daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñem ñeán raát nhieàu saûn vaät ñaàu muøa veà nguõ coác, röôïu, daàu, maät, vaø nhöõng thoå saûn khaùc; chuùng ñem ñeán moät phaàn möôøi cuûa moïi vaät thaät raát nhieàu.

31:6 And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by heaps.

31:6 Ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân vaø ngöôøi Giu-ña ôû trong caùc thaønh xöù Giu-ña, cuõng ñeàu ñem ñeán noäp moät phaàn möôøi veà boø vaø chieân, cuøng moät phaàn möôøi veà caùc vaät ñaõ bieät rieâng ra thaùnh cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa chuùng, roài ñeå ra töøng ñoáng.

31:7 In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and finished them in the seventh month.

31:7 Thaùng thöù ba, chuùng khôûi gom laïi töøng ñoáng, vaø qua ñeán thaùng baûy môùi xong.

31:8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed the LORD, and his people Israel.

31:8 Khi EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø caùc quan tröôûng ñeán, thaáy caùc ñoáng aáy, thì ngôïi khen Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø chuùc phöôùc cho daân Y-sô-ra-eân cuûa Ngaøi.

31:9 Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning the heaps.

31:9 EÂ-xeâ-chia hoûi thaêm nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi veà tích nhöõng ñoáng aáy.

31:10 And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD, we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD has blessed his people; and that which is left is this great store.

31:10 A-xa-ria, thaày teá leã caû veà doøng Xa-ñoác, thöa laïi cuøng ngöôøi maø raèng: Töø khi daân söï khôûi ñem leã vaät vaøo trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, thì chuùng toâi coù aên ñöôïc ñaày ñuû, vaø coøn dö laïi nhieàu; vì Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ ban phöôùc cho daân söï Ngaøi; coøn soá nhieàu naøy, aáy laø phaàn dö laïi.

31:11 Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD; and they prepared them,

31:11 EÂ-xeâ-chia truyeàn doïn deïp caùc phoøng trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; ngöôøi ta beøn doïn deïp,

31:12 And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother was the next.

31:12 roài ñem vaøo caùch ngay thaúng caùc leã vaät, thueá moät phaàn möôøi, vaø caùc vaät thaùnh. Coâ-na-nia, ngöôøi Leâ-vi, cai quaûn nhöõng vaät aáy, vaø Si-meâ -i, em ngöôøi, laøm phoù;

31:13 And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.

31:13 coøn Gieâ-hi-eân, A-xa-xia, Na-haùt, A-sa-eân, Gieâ-ri-moát, Gioâ-sa-baùt, EÂ-li-eân, Gít-ma-kia, Ma-haùt, vaø Beâ-na-gia, ñeàu laøm keû coi soùc döôùi quyeàn Coâ-na-nia vaø Si-meâ -i, em ngöôøi, cöù theo lònh cuûa vua EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø A-xa-ria, laø ngöôøi cai trò ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

31:14 And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the gate keeper toward the east, was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD, and the most holy things.

31:14 Coâ-reâ, con trai cuûa Dim-na, ngöôøi Leâ-vi, laø keû giöõ cöûa phía ñoâng, ñöôïc ñaët cai quaûn caùc leã vaät laïc yù daâng cho Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, ñaëng phaân phaùt caùc leã vaät daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø nhöõng vaät raát thaùnh.

31:15 And next him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah, and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:

31:15 Döôùi tay ngöôøi coù EÂ-ñen, Min-gia-min, Gieâ-sua, Seâ-ma-gia, A-ma-ria, vaø Seâ-ca-nia, ôû trong caùc thaønh thaày teá leã, ñaëng phaân phaùt leã vaät aáy caùch coâng bình cho anh em mình, hoaëc nhoû hay lôùn, thao ban thöù cuûa hoï.

31:18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office they sanctified themselves in holiness:

31:18 cuøng phaân phaùt cho heát thaûy con nhoû cuûa hoï, vôï hoï, con trai vaø con gaùi hoï, töùc caû hoäi chuùng ghi teân vaøo gia phoå; vì chuùng thaønh tín bieät mình rieâng ra ñaëng neân thaùnh.

31:19 Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.

31:19 Coøn veà con chaùu A-roân, töùc laø nhöõng thaày teá leã ôû trong ñoàng ruoäng, raûi raùc nôi ñòa haït caùc thaønh cuûa hoï, thì coù ñaët trong moãi thaønh nhöõng ngöôøi goïi töøng teân, ñaëng phaân phaùt phaàn cho heát thaûy ngöôøi nam trong nhöõng thaày teá leã vaø cho nhöõng keû trong voøng ngöôøi Leâ-vi ñaõ ghi teân vaøo gia phoå.

31:20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

32:1 After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities, and thought to win them for himself.

32:1 Sau caùc vieäc naøy vaø söï thaønh tín naøy, thì San-cheâ-ríp loaùn ñeán trong xöù Giu-ña, vaây caùc thaønh beàn vöõng, coù yù haõm laáy noù.

32:2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed to fight against Jerusalem,

32:2 Khi EÂ-xeâ-chia thaáy San-cheâ-ríp ñaõ ñeán, toan haõm ñaùnh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem,

32:3 He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him.

32:3 thì ngöôøi hoäi nghò vôùi caùc quan tröôûng vaø nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh daïn ñaëng ngaên nöôùc suoái ôû ngoaøi thaønh; hoï beøn giuùp ñôõ ngöôøi.

32:4 So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains, and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the kings of Assyria come, and find much water?

32:4 Daân söï nhoùm laïi ñoâng, chaän caùc suoái vaø caùc khe chaûy giöõ xöù, maø raèng: Laøm gì ñeå cho vua A-si-ri ñeán, thaáy coù nöôùc nhieàu?

32:5 Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken, and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.

32:5 Ngöôøi töï can ñaûm, xaây ñaép vaùch thaønh ñaõ bò hö luûng, xaây noù leân ñeán taän thaùp; roài laïi xaây moät caùi vaùch khaùc ôû phía ngoaøi; ngöôøi laøm cho vöõng chaéc Mi-loâ ôû trong thaønh Ña-vít vaø cheá nhieàu caây lao cuøng khieân.

32:6 And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spoke comfortably to them, saying,

32:6 Ngöôøi laäp nhöõng quan töôùng treân daân söï, roài hieäp laäp chuùng laïi gaàn mình taïi phoá beân cöûa thaønh, noùi ñoäng loøng chuùng, maø raèng:

32:7 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with us than with him:

32:7 Khaù vöõng loøng beàn chí, chôù sôï, chôù kinh haõi tröôùc maët vua A-si-ri vaø ñaùm quaân ñoâng ñaûo theo ngöôøi; vì coù moät Ñaáng ôû cuøng chuùng ta thaéng hôn keû ôû vôùi hoï:

32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words of Hezekiah king of Judah.

32:8 vôùi ngöôøi chæ moät caùnh tay xaùc thòt; coøn vôùi chuùng ta coù Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa chuùng ta ñaëng giuùp ñôõ vaø chieán tranh theá cho chuùng ta. Daân söï beøn nöông caäy nôi lôøi cuûa EÂ-xeâ-chia, vua Giu-ña.

32:9 After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem, (but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,

32:9 Sau vieäc aáy, San-cheâ-ríp, vua A-si-ri, vôùi caû ñaïo binh cuûa ngöôøi haõy coøn vaây La-ki, coù sai caùc ñaày tôù ngöôøi ñeán EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø daân Giu-ña ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, maø noùi raèng:

32:10 Thus says Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do all of you trust, that all of you abide in the siege in Jerusalem?

32:10 San-cheâ-ríp, vua A-si-ri, noùi nhö vaày: Caùc ngöôi nöông caäy ñieàu gì, maø chòu ôû vaäy trong thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem nhö theá?

32:11 Does not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of the king of Assyria?

32:11 EÂ-xeâ-chia noùi raèng: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi chuùng ta seõ giaûi cöùu chuùng ta khoûi tay vua A-si-ri, aáy haù chaúng phaûi ngöôøi doã daønh caùc ngöôi ñaëng phoù caùc ngöôi ñoùi khaùt cho cheát hay sao?

32:12 Has not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, All of you shall worship before one altar, and burn incense upon it?

32:12 Chôù thì chaúng phaûi chính EÂ-xeâ-chia naøy ñaõ caát nhöõng nôi cao vaø baøn thôø cuûa Ngaøi, roài bieåu daân Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem raèng: Caùc ngöôi khaù thôø laïy tröôùc moät baøn thôø, vaø chæ xoâng höông taïi treân ñoù maø thoâi?

32:13 Know all of you not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to deliver their lands out of mine hand?

32:13 Caùc ngöôi haù chaúng bieát ñieàu ta vaø toå phuï ta ñaõ laøm cho caùc daân thieân haï sao? Caùc thaàn cuûa nhöõng daân toäc thieân haï, haù giaûi cöùu xöù chuùng noù ñöôïc khoûi tay ta ö?

32:14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should be able to deliver you out of mine hand?

32:14 Noäi trong caùc thaàn cuûa nhöõng daân toäc maø toå phuï ta ñaõ dieät heát ñi, haù coù thaàn naøo giaûi cöùu daân mình cho khoûi tay ta chaêng? Deã coù moät mình Thaàn caùc ngöôi giaûi cöùu caùc ngöôi ñöôïc khoûi tay ta chôù!

32:15 Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?

32:15 Vaäy baây giôø, chôù ñeå EÂ-xeâ-chia phænh gaït, khuyeân duï caùc ngöôi nhö theá, vaø caùc ngöôi chôù tin ngöôøi; vì chaúng coù thaàn cuûa daân naøo nöôùc naøo giaûi cöùu daân mình ñöôïc khoûi tay ta hay laø khoûi tay toå phuï ta; huoáng chi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caùc ngöôi giaûi cöùu caùc ngöôi khoûi tay ta!

32:16 And his servants spoke yet more against the LORD God, and against his servant Hezekiah.

32:16 Caùc ñaày tôù ngöôøi laïi coøn noùi nghòch cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi thaät, vaø nghòch cuøng EÂ-xeâ-chia, laø toâi tôù Ngaøi.

32:17 He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his people out of mine hand.

32:17 Ngöôøi cuõng vieát thô sæ nhuïc Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø noùi phaïm ñeán Ngaøi maø raèng: Heã thaàn cuûa caùc daân toäc thieân haï chaúng giaûi cöùu daân mình khoûi tay ta theá naøo, thì thaàn cuûa EÂ-xeâ-chia cuõng chaúng giaûi cöùu ñöôïc daân söï ngöôøi khoûi tay ta theá aáy.

32:18 Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' speech unto the people of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that they might take the city.

32:18 Chuùng la lôùn leân, noùi baèng tieáng Giu-ña cho daân Gieâ-ru-sa-lam ôû treân vaùch thaønh, ñaëng laøm cho chuùng sôï hoaûng, ñeå haõm laáy thaønh.

32:19 And they spoke against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.

32:19 Chuùng laïi noùi veà Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, nhö theå caùc thaàn cuûa daân thieân haï ñeàu laø coâng vieäc cuûa tay ngöôøi ta laøm ra.

32:20 And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.

32:20 Vua EÂ-xeâ-chia, vaø tieân tri EÂ-sai, con trai A-moát, caàu nguyeän veà vieäc naøy, vaø keâu la thaáu ñeán trôøi.

32:21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour, and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his god, they that came out of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.

32:21 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va beøn sai moät thieân söù dieät nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh daïn, caùc quan tröôûng vaø caùc quan töôùng ôû trong traïi quaân cuûa vua A-si-ri. ngöôøi trôû veà trong xöù mình, maët hoå theïn; vaø khi ngöôøi vaøo trong mieãu thaàn mình, coù nhöõng keû bôûi loøng ngöôøi sanh ra ñeàu laáy göôm gieát ngöôøi taïi ñoù.

32:22 Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other, and guided them on every side.

32:22 Nhö vaäy Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va cöùu EÂ-xeâ-chia vaø daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem khoûi tay San-cheâ-ríp, vua A-si-ri, vaø khoûi tay moïi ngöôøi khaùc, cuøng phuø hoä cho chuùng boán beân.

32:23 And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations from thenceforth.

32:23 Coù nhieàu ngöôøi ñem nhöõng leã vaät ñeán daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø nhöõng vaät quí baùu cho EÂ-xeâ-chia, vua Giu-ña; neân töø khi aáy veà sau, ngöôøi ñöôïc toân cao tröôùc maët caùc nöôùc.

32:24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD: and he spoke unto him, and he gave him a sign.

32:24 Trong luùc aáy, EÂ-xeâ-chia bò ñau hoøng cheát; ngöôøi caàu nguyeän Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn cuøng ngöôøi, vaø ban cho ngöôøi moät daáu laï.

32:25 But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon Judah and Jerusalem.

32:25 Nhöng EÂ-xeâ-chia chaúng baùo ñaùp laïi ôn Chuùa maø ngöôøi ñaõ laõnh, vì loøng ngöôøi töï cao; beøn coù côn thaïnh noä cuûa Chuùa noåi leân cuøng ngöôøi, cuøng Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

32:26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.

32:26 Song EÂ-xeâ-chia haï söï töï cao trong loøng mình xuoáng, ngöôøi vaø daân cö Gieâ-ru-sa-lem cuõng vaäy, neân trong ñôøi EÂ-xeâ-chia, côn thaïnh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khoâng giaùng treân chuùng.

32:27 And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices, and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;

32:27 EÂ-xeâ-chia ñöôïc raát giaøu raát sang; ngöôøi caát nhöõng kho ñeå tröû baïc, vaøng, ñaù quí, thuoác thôm, khieân, vaø caùc thöù khí giôùi toát ñeïp;

32:28 Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.

32:28 nhöõng laãm ñaëng chöùa nguõ coác, röôïu, vaø daàu; nhöõng chuoàng ñeå nhoát caùc thöù thuù vaät, baày chieân, vaø baày boø.

32:29 Moreover he provided him cities, and possessions of flocks and herds in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.

32:29 Ngöôøi cuõng xaây nhöõng thaønh, coù nhieàu baày chieân vaø boø; vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ban cho ngöôøi raát nhieàu cuûa caûi.

32:30 This same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah prospered in all his works.

32:30 Aáy laø EÂ-xeâ-chia naøy laáp nguoàn treân cuûa nöôùc Ghi-hoân, vaø daãn noù chaûy ngaàm döôùi ñaát qua phía taây cuûa thaønh Ña-vít. Trong moïi vieäc EÂ-xeâ-chia ñöôïc hanh thoâng.

32:31 Nevertheless in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon, who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.

32:32 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.

32:32 Caùc coâng vieäc khaùc cuûa EÂ-xeâ-chia, vaø nhöõng vieäc thieän cuûa ngöôøi, ñeàu cheùp trong saùch dò töôïng cuûa EÂ-sai, ñaáng tieân tri, con trai cuûa A-moát, vaø trong saùch caùc vua Giu-ña vaø Y-sô-ra-eân.

32:33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest of the sepulchers of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his position.

32:33 EÂ-xeâ-chia an giaác cuøng toå phuï mình, ngöôøi ta choân ngöôøi trong laêng taåm cao cuûa con chaùu Ña-vít; caû Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeàu toân kính ngöôøi luùc ngöôøi thaùc; Ma-na-se, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

33:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned fifty and five years in Jerusalem:

33:1 Ma-na-se ñöôïc möôøi hai tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân laøm vua, vaø ngöôøi cai trò naêm möôi laêm naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

33:2 But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children of Israel.

33:2 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, theo nhöõng söï gôùm ghieác cuûa caùc daân toäc maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ ñuoåi khoûi tröôùc maët daân Y-sô-ra-eân.

33:3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all the host of heaven, and served them.

33:3 Ngöôøi caát laïi caùc nôi cao maø EÂ-xeâ-chia, cha ngöôøi, ñaõ phaù dôõ, döïng leân nhöõng baøn thôø cho Ba-anh, laøm caùc töôïng A-seâ-ra, thôø laïy caû cô binh treân trôøi, vaø haàu vieäc chuùng noù.

33:4 Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.

33:4 Ngöôøi xaây nhöõng baøn thôø taïi trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, laø veà nôi aáy maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn raèng: Danh ta seõ ngöï nôi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñôøi ñôøi.

33:5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of the house of the LORD.

33:5 Ngöôøi cuõng laäp nhöõng baøn thôø cho caùc cô binh treân trôøi, taïi trong hai haønh lang cuûa ñeán Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va,

33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft, and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.

33:6 vaø ñöa con caùi mình qua löûa, taïi trong truõng con Hi-noâm; ngöôøi xem boùi; eám chuù, duøng phaùp thuaät, ham theo nhöõng keû caàu vong vaø thaày phuø thuûy: ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc thaùi quaù taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaëng choïc giaän Ngaøi.

33:7 And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:

33:7 Ngöôøi ñaët hình töôïng chaïm maø mình ñaõ laøm trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø veà ñeàn aáy maø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi coù phaùn vôùi Ña-vít vaø Sa-loâ-moân, con trai ngöôøi, raèng: Trong ñeàn naøy vaø taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, thaønh ta ñaõ choïn trong caùc chi phaùi Y-sô-ra-eân, ta seõ ñaët danh ta ôû ñôøi ñôøi;

33:8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and the ordinances by the hand of Moses.

33:8 neáu Y-sô-ra-eân gìn giöõ laøm theo caùc luaät phaùp, ñieàu raên, vaø maïng lònh, maø ta ñaõ caäy Moâi-se phaùn daïy chuùng noù, thì ta seõ chaúng caát chôn cuûa chuùng noù khoûi ñaát ta ñaõ ban cho toå phuï chuùng noù.

33:9 So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go astray, and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children of Israel.

33:9 Ma-na-se quyeán duï Giu-ña vaø daân söï Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, ñeán ñoãi chuùng laøm ñieàu aùc hôn caùc daân toäc maø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ huûy dieät khoûi tröôùc maët daân Y-sô-ra-eân.

33:10 And the LORD spoke to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not hearken.

33:10 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn baûo Ma-na-se vaø daân söï ngöôøi; song chuùng khoâng chuû yù ñeán.

33:11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters, and carried him to Babylon.

33:11 Vì côù aáy, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khieán caùc quan töôùng ñaïo binh cuûa vua A-si-ri ñeán haõm ñaùnh chuùng; caùc quan aáy baét ñoùng cuøm Ma-na-se, xieàng ngöôøi laïi, roài daãn veà Ba-by-loân.

33:12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled himself greatly before the God of his fathers,

33:12 Khi ngöôøi bò hoaïn naïn, beøn caàu khaån Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa ngöôøi vaø haï mình xuoáng laém tröôùc maët Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï ngöôøi.

33:13 And prayed unto him: and he was implored of him, and heard his supplication, and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that the LORD he was God.

33:13 Ma-na-se caàu nguyeän cuøng Ngaøi; Ngaøi nhaäm ngöôøi, duû nghe lôøi naøi xin cuûa ngöôøi, daãn ngöôøi veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem trong nöôùc ngöôøi; khi aáy Ma-na-se nhìn bieát Gieâ-hoâ-va laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.

33:14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.

33:14 Sau vieäc aáy, ngöôøi xaây vaùch ngoaøi thaønh Ña-vít, veà phía taây Ghi-hoân trong truõng, ñeán loái vaøo cöûa caù, vaø chung quanh OÂ-pheân, xaây noù raát cao roài ngöôøi ñaët nhöõng quan töôùng trong caùc thaønh beàn vöõng xöù Giu-ña.

33:15 And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.

33:15 Ngöôøi caát khoûi ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nhöõng thaàn ngoaïi bang, hình töôïng, vaø baøn thôø maø ngöôøi ñaõ xaây treân nuùi cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va vaø taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, roài quaêng noù ra ngoaøi thaønh.

33:16 And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of Israel.

33:16 Ñoaïn, ngöôøi söûa sang baøn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, daâng cuûa leã bình an vaø cuûa leã thuø aân taïi ñoù; ngöôøi truyeàn daïy daân Giu-ña phuïc söï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

33:17 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet unto the LORD their God only.

33:17 Daàu vaäy, daân söï coøn teá leã cho Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa mình maø thoâi.

33:18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God, and the words of the seers that spoke to him in the name of the LORD God of Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.

33:18 Caùc coâng vieäc khaùc cuûa Ma-na-se, lôøi ngöôøi caàu nguyeän cuøng Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôøi, vaø caùc lôøi cuûa ñaáng tieân kieán nhaân danh Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân maø phaùn vôùi ngöôøi, ñeàu ñaõ cheùp trong saùch caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân.

33:19 His prayer also, and how God was implored of him, and all his sins, and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

33:19 Baøi caàu nguyeän ngöôøi, vaø laøm sao Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi nhaäm lôøi ngöôøi, caùc toäi loãi, vaø gian aùc ngöôøi ñaõ phaïm, nhöõng choã ngöôøi laäp nôi cao, döïng leân thaàn A-seâ-ra vaø töôïng chaïm, tröôùc khi ngöôøi chöa haï mình xuoáng, kìa, thaûy ñeàu cheùp trong truyeän Hoâ-xai.

33:20 So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own house: and Amon his son reigned in his position.

33:20 Ma-na-xe an giaác cuøng toå phuï mình, ñöôïc choân trong cung ñieän ngöôøi; A-moân con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

33:21 Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned two years in Jerusalem.

33:21 A-moân ñöôïc hai möôi hai tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò hai naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

33:22 But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his father had made, and served them;

33:22 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va y nhö Ma-na-se, cha ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm, cuùng teá cho caùc töôïng chaïm maø Ma-na-se, cha ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm, vaø haàu vieäc chuùng noù.

33:23 And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.

33:23 Ngöôøi khoâng haï mình xuoáng tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va nhö Ma-na-se, cha ngöôøi, ñaõ laøm; nhöng ngöôøi caøng theâm phaïm toäi.

33:24 And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.

33:24 Caùc ñaày tôù ngöôøi möu phaûn, gieát ngöôøi taïi trong cung ñieän ngöôøi.

33:25 But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his position.

33:25 Coøn daân söï cuûa xöù laïi gieát caùc keû ñaõ möu phaûn gieát vua A-moân; roài laäp Gioâ-si -a, con trai ngöôøi, laøm vua theá cho ngöôøi.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

34:1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in Jerusalem one and thirty years.

34:1 Gioâ-si -a ñöôïc taùm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø cai trò ba möôi moát naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

34:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor to the left.

34:2 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu thieän tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø ñi theo con ñöôøng cuûa Ña-vít, toå phuï ngöôøi, khoâng xaây veà beân höõu hay laø beân taû.

34:3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images.

34:3 Naêm thöù taùm ñôøi ngöôøi trò vì, khi ngöôøi haõy coøn treû tuoåi, thì ngöôøi khôûi tìm kieám Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Ña-vít, toå phuï ngöôøi; naêm thöù möôøi hai, ngöôøi khôûi doïn saïch Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, tröø boû nhöõng nôi cao, thaàn A-seâ-ra, töôïng chaïm vaø töôïng ñuùc.

34:4 And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images, that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images, and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and scattered it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.

34:4 Tröôùc maët vua, ngöôøi ta phaù dôõ caùc baøn thôø Ba-anh, ñaùnh ñoå nhöõng truï thôø maët trôøi ôû treân cao baøn thôø aáy; coøn thaàn A-seâ-ra, töôïng chaïm vaø töôïng ñuùc, thì beû gaõy, nghieàn naùt noù ra, roài raûi treân moà maû cuûa nhöõng keû ñaõ cuùng teá noù.

34:5 And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed Judah and Jerusalem.

34:5 Ngöôøi cuõng thieâu haøi coát cuûa nhöõng thaày teá leã taïi treân baøn thôø caùc thaàn aáy, vaø doïn saïch Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

34:6 And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.

34:6 Trong caùc thaønh cuûa Ma-na-se, cuûa Eùp-ra-im, vaø cuûa Si-meâ-oân, cho ñeán Neùp-ta-li khaép chung quanh caùc nôi ñoå naùt,

34:7 And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.

34:7 ngöôøi phaù dôõ caùc baøn thôø vaø nghieàn naùt ra buïi nhöõng thaàn A-seâ-ra, töôïng chaïm vaø töôïng ñuùc, ñaùnh ñoå caùc truï thôø maët trôøi ôû trong khaép xöù Y-sô-ra-eân; roài ngöôøi trôû veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

34:8 Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land, and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of the LORD his God.

34:8 Naêm thöù möôøi taùm ñôøi ngöôøi trò vì, sau khi ñaõ doïn saïch xöù vaø ñeàn thôø roài, thì ngöôøi sai Sa-phan, con trai A-sa-lia, Ma -a-xeâ-gia, quan cai thaønh, vaø Gioâ -a, con trai Gioâ -a-cha, quan thaùi söû, ñaëng söûa sang ñeàn cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ngöôøi.

34:9 And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.

34:9 Caùc ngöôøi aáy ñi ñeán cuøng Hinh-kia, thaày teá leã thöôïng phaåm, giao cho ngöôøi tieàn baïc ñaõ ñem vaøo ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, töùc tieàn baïc maø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, keû giöõ cöûa, ñaõ nhaän nôi tay ngöôøi Ma-na-se, ngöôøi Eùp-ra-im, vaø nôi nhöõng keû coøn soùt laïi trong Y-sô-ra-eân, cuøng nhaän nôi caû Giu-ña, Beân-gia-min vaø nhöõng daân cö thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

34:10 And they put it in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of the house of the LORD, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house of the LORD, to repair and amend the house:

34:10 Chuùng giao baïc aáy nôi tay nhöõng ngöôøi coi soùc coâng vieäc cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; hoï phaùt cho caùc thôï ñaëng tu boå, söûa sang ñeàn thôø:

34:11 Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone, and timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had destroyed.

34:11 töùc giao cho caùc nhaø thuoäc veà ñeàn maø caùc vua Giu-ña ñaõ phaù huûy.

34:12 And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites, all that could skill of instruments of music.

34:12 Caùc thôï aáy ñeàu laøm coâng vieäc caùch thaønh taâm. Keû quaûn ñoác caùc thôï aáy laø Gia-haùt vaø OÂ-ba-ñia, hai ngöôøi Leâ-vi thuoäc veà doøng Meâ-ra-ri; Xa-cha-ri vaø Meâ-su-lam veà doøng Keâ-haùt, cuøng maáy ngöôøi Leâ-vi khaùc, ñaùnh nhaïc khí gioûi.

34:13 Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and were overseers of all that wrought the work in any manner of service: and of the Levites there were scribes, and officers, and porters.

34:13 Chuùng cuõng quaûn ñoác keû khieâng gaùnh, vaø coi soùc nhöõng ngöôøi laøm ñuû moïi thöù coâng vieäc; coøn nhöõng kyù luïc, quan cai vaø keû canh cöûa ñeàu laø ngöôøi Leâ-vi.

34:14 And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD given by Moses.

34:14 Khi ngöôøi ta ñem baïc ñaõ ñem vaøo ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ra, thì Hinh-kia, thaày teá leã, tìm ñöôïc cuoán saùch luaät phaùp cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va truyeàn laïi bôûi Moâi-se.

34:15 And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the book to Shaphan.

34:15 Hinh-kia caát tieáng leân noùi vôùi thô kyù Sa-phan raèng: Ta coù tìm ñöôïc cuoán saùch luaät phaùp ôû trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va. Roài Hinh-kia giao saùch aáy cho Sa-phan.

34:16 And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word back again, saying, All that was committed to your servants, they do it.

34:16 Sa-phan ñem saùch ñoù cho vua; roài ngöôøi cuõng taâu vôùi vua raèng: Moïi vieäc giao nôi tay caùc toâi tôù vua thì hoï ñöông laøm.

34:17 And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and to the hand of the workmen.

34:17 Chuùng ñaõ laáy baïc tìm ñöôïc trong ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ra, vaø ñaõ giao nôi tay caùc ñoác coâng vaø nhöõng ngöôøi laøm coâng vieäc.

34:18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.

34:18 Thô kyù Sa-phan laïi taâu vôùi vua raèng: Thaày teá leã Hinh-kia coù trao cho toâi moät cuoán saùch. Sa-phan beøn ñoïc taïi tröôùc maët vua.

34:19 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law, that he rent his clothes.

34:19 Xaûy khi vua nghe caùc lôøi luaät phaùp roài, thì xeù aùo mình.

34:20 And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the king's, saying,

34:20 Vua truyeàn lònh cho Hinh-kia, A-hi-cam, con trai cuûa Sa-phan, Aùp-ñoân, con trai cuûa Mi-ca, Sa-phan, thô kyù, vaø A-sa-gia, quan caän thaàn vua, maø raèng:

34:21 Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.

34:21 Haõy vì ta, vì caùc ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân vaø vì ngöôøi Giu-ña coøn soùt laïi, maø ñi caàu vaán Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va veà caùc lôøi phaùn cuûa saùch naøy ñaõ tìm laïi ñöôïc vì côn giaän cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ giaùng treân chuùng ta thaät lôùn thay, bôûi caùc toå phuï ta khoâng gìn giöõ lôøi phaùn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø chaúng laøm theo caùc ñieàu ñaõ cheùp trong saùch naøy.

34:22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spoke to her to that effect.

34:22 Hinh-kia vaø caùc keû vua sai ñi ñeán Hun-ña, nöõ tieân tri, vôï cuûa Sa-lum, laø ngöôøi giöõ aùo leã, con trai cuûa Toâ-caùt, chaùu Haùt-ra; baø ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem trong quaän thöù nhì; chuùng noùi vôùi baø theo caùc lôøi vua ñaõ phaùn.

34:23 And she answered them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Tell all of you the man that sent you to me,

34:23 Baø beøn noùi vôùi chuùng raèng: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô -r-eân phaùn nhö vaày: Haõy noùi cuøng ngöôøi ñaõ sai caùc ngöôi ñeán cuøng ta raèng:

34:24 Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book which they have read before the king of Judah:

34:24 Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va phaùn nhö vaày: naày ta seõ khieán caùc tai vaï giaùng treân choã naøy vaø treân daân ôû choã naøy, töùc laø caùc söï ruûa saû cheùp trong saùch maø ngöôøi ta ñaõ ñoïc tröôùc maët vua Giu-ña.

34:25 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods, that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched.

34:25 Bôûi vì chuùng ñaõ lìa boû ta, xoâng höông cho caùc taø thaàn, laáy caùc coâng vieäc tay chuùng noù laøm maø choïc giaän ta; neân côn thaïnh noä ta seõ ñoå ra treân choã naøy, khoâng heà nguoâi.

34:26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD, so shall all of you say unto him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning the words which you have heard;

34:26 Coøn vua Giu-ña ñaõ sai caùc ngöôi ñi caàu vaán Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, caùc ngöôi haõy noùi cho ngöôøi nhö vaày: Veà caùc lôøi ngöôi ñaõ nghe, Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân coù phaùn nhö vaày:

34:27 Because yours heart was tender, and you did humble yourself before God, when you heard his words against this place, and against the inhabitants thereof, and humbledst yourself before me, and did rend your clothes, and weep before me; I have even heard you also, says the LORD.

34:27 Khi ngöôi nghe lôøi ta phaùn nghòch cuøng choã naøy, vaø nghòch cuøng daân cö noù, thì ngöôi coù loøng meàm maïi, haï mình xuoáng tröôùc maët ta, xeù aùo ngöôi, vaø khoùc loùc taïi tröôùc maët ta; bôûi vaäy cho neân ta cuõng coù nghe ngöôi.

34:28 Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered to your grave in peace, neither shall yours eyes see all the evil that I will bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought the king word again.

34:28 Kìa, ta seõ khieán ngöôi veà cuøng toå phuï ngöôi, ngöôi seõ ñöôïc choân bình an, vaø maét ngöôi seõ chaúng thaáy caùc tai vaï ta toan giaùng xuoáng treân choán naøy cuøng treân daân cö noù. Chuùng beøn taâu laïi cho vua nhöõng lôøi aáy.

34:29 Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and Jerusalem.

34:29 Vua beøn sai ngöôøi nhoùm caùc tröôûng laõo Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

34:30 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD.

34:30 Ñoaïn, vua ñi leân ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, coù heát thaûy ngöôøi Giu-ña, daân cö Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, nhöõng thaày teá leã, ngöôøi Leâ-vi, vaø caû daân söï, töø nhoû ñeán lôùn, ñeàu ñi theo ngöôøi; ngöôøi ñoïc cho chuùng nghe caùc lôøi cuûa saùch giao öôùc ñaõ tìm ñöôïc trong ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va,

34:31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD, to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words of the covenant which are written in this book.

34:31 Vua ñöùng taïi choã mình, laäp giao öôùc tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, höùa ñi theo Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, heát loøng heát yù gìn giöõ caùc ñieàu raên, chöùng côù, vaø luaät leä cuûa Ngaøi, ñaëng laøm troïn lôøi giao öôùc giao öôùc ñaõ cheùp trong saùch aáy.

34:32 And he caused all that were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God, the God of their fathers.

34:32 Ngöôøi cuõng khieán nhöõng ngöôøi ôû Gieâ-ru-sa-lem vaø Beân-gia-min öng theo giao öôùc aáy. Vaäy, daân cö Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeàu laøm theo giao öôùc cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï hoï.

34:33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in Israel to serve, even to serve the LORD their God. And all his days they departed not from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.

34:33 Gioâ-si -a caát heát thaûy söï gôùm ghieác khoûi caùc xöù thuoäc veà daân Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø buoäc heát thaûy nhöõng ngöôøi ôû xöù Y-sô-ra-eân phaûi phuïc söï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa hoï.  2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

35:1 Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.

35:1 Gioâ-si -a giöõ leã Vöôït qua cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ngaøy möôøi boán thaùng gieâng, hoï gieát con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua.

35:2 And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the service of the house of the LORD,

35:2 Ngöôøi caét nhöõng thaày teá leã giöõ chöùc phaän mình, vaø khuyeân giuïc chuùng veà vieäc cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now the LORD your God, and his people Israel,

35:3 Ngöôøi phaùn cuøng nhöõng ngöôøi Leâ-vi vaãn daïy doã caû Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø ñaõ bieät mình rieâng ra thaùnh cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, maø raèng: Haõy ñeå hoøm thaùnh taïi trong ñeàn maø Sa-loâ-moân, con trai cuûa Ña-vít, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, ñaõ xaây caát; caùc ngöôi khoâng coøn khieâng hoøm aáy treân vai. Baây giôø, haõy phuïc söï Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa caùc ngöôi vaø giuùp vieäc cho Y-sô-ra-eân laø daân söï cuûa Ngaøi;

35:4 And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses, according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing of Solomon his son.

35:4 caùc ngöôi haõy tuøy toâng toäc vaø ban thöù caùc ngöôi, maø doïn mình cho saün, chieáu theo leä luaät maø Ña-vít, vua Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø Sa-loâ-moân, con trai ngöôøi, ñaõ cheùp.

35:5 And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families of the Levites.

35:5 Ñoaïn haïy ñöùng trong nôi thaùnh, theo thöù töï toâng toäc cuûa anh em caùc ngöôi, laø daân Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø theo thöù töï toâng toäc cuûa anh em caùc ngöôi, laø daân Y-sô-ra-eân, vaø theo thöù töï toâng toäc cuûa ngöôøi Leâ-vi.

35:6 So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren, that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

35:6 Caùc ngöôi haõy gieát con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua, bieät mình rieâng ra thaùnh vaø saém söûa leã Vöôït qua theá cho anh em caùc ngöôi, ñeå laøm y nhö lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va caäy Moâi-se phaùn.

35:7 And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.

35:7 Gioâ-si -a ban cho daân söï nhöõng suùc vaät nhoû, soá laø ba vaïn chieân con vaø deâ con, cuøng ba ngaøn con boø ñöïc, duøng troïn veà leã Vöôït qua cho caùc ngöôøi coù maët taïi ñoù; caùc thuù ñoù ñeàu baét nôi saûn vaät cuûa vua.

35:8 And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God, gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred small cattle and three hundred oxen.

35:8 Caùc quan tröôûng cuõng ñeàu ñaønh loøng ban suùc vaät cho daân söï, caáp cho thaày teá leã vaø ngöôøi Leâ-vi. Hinh-kia, Xa-cha-ri, vaø Gieâ-hi-eân, laø caùc ngöôøi quaûn ñoác ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, caáp cho nhöõng thaày teá leã, hai ngaøn saùu traêm con chieân, vaø ba traêm con boø ñeå duøng veà leã Vöôït qua.

35:9 Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.

35:9 Coâ-na-nia, Seâ-ma-gia, Na-tha-na-eân, vaø caùc anh em ngöôøi, Ha-sa-bia, Gieâ -i-eân, vaø Gioâ-xa-baùt, laø caùc quan tröôûng cuûa ngöôøi Leâ-vi, ñeàu caáp cho ngöôøi Leâ-vi naêm ngaøn con chieân, vaø naêm traêm con boø ñeå duøng veà leã Vöôït qua.

35:10 So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place, and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.

35:10 Vaäy, vieäc teá leã ñaõ saép ñaët roài, nhöõng thaày teá leã ñeàu ñöùng taïi choã mình, vaø ngöôøi leâ-vi cöù theo ban thöù mình, y theo maïng lònh cuûa vua.

35:11 And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from their hands, and the Levites flayed them.

35:11 Ngöôøi Leâ-vi gieát con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua, vaø nhöõng thaày teá leã nhaän laáy huyeát nôi tay chuùng maø raûy noù ra; coøn ngöôøi Leâ-vi thì loät da con sinh.

35:12 And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.

35:12 Chuùng ñeå nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu rieâng ra, ñaëng phaân phaùt cho daân söï, theo thöù töï toâng toäc cuûa hoï, ñeå daâng cho Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, tuøy theo ñieàu ñaõ cheùp trong saùch cuûa Moâi-se; hoï cuõng laøm nhö vaäy veà caùc con boø ñöïc.

35:13 And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance: but the other holy offerings cook they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans, and divided them speedily among all the people.

35:13 Chuùng theo leä ñònh, maø quay thòt con sinh veà leã Vöôït qua; coøn nhöõng vaät thaùnh thì naáu trong caùi noài, caùi vaïc, vaø caùi chaûo, roài hoái haû ñem phaân phaùt cho caû daân söï.

35:14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests: because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and for the priests the sons of Aaron.

35:14 Keá sau, chuùng lo saém söûa vaät duøng cho mình vaø cho nhöõng thaày teá leã; vì nhöõng thaày teá leã, laø con chaùu A-roân, ñeàu maéc vieäc daâng cuûa leã thieâu vaø môõ cho ñeán chieàu toái; vì vaäy ngöôøi Leâ-vi saém söûa vaät duøng cho mình vaø cho nhöõng thaày teá leã, laø con chaùu cuûa A-roân.

35:15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer; and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service; for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.

35:15 Nhöõng ngöôøi ca haùt, laø con chaùu cuûa A-saùp, ñeàu ôû taïi choã mình, tuøy theo leä cuûa Ña-vít, A-saùp, Heâ-man, vaø Gieâ-ñu-thun, ñaáng tieân kieán cuûa vua, ñaõ ñònh; caùc ngöôøi canh cöûa ñeàu ôû taïi moãi cöûa, khoâng caàn rôøi khoûi vieäc mình, vì anh em cuûa hoï, laø ngöôøi Leâ-vi, saém söûa vaät duøng cho hoï.

35:16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according to the commandment of king Josiah.

35:16 Noäi ngaøy ñoù, caùc cuoäc thôø phöôïng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ saép ñaët roài, ñeå giöõ leã Vöôït qua, vaø daâng nhöõng cuûa leã thieâu treân baøn thôø cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, tuøy theo maïng lònh cuûa vua Gioâ-si -a.

35:17 And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.

35:17 Nhöõng ngöôøi Y-sô-ra-eân coù maët taïi ñoù, ñeàu giöõ leã Vöôït qua trong luùc aáy, vaø giöõ leã baùnh khoâng men trong baûy ngaøy.

35:18 And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.

35:18 Töø ñôøi tieân tri Sa-mu-eân, trong Y-sô-ra-eân, ngöôøi ta khoâng coù giöõ leã Vöôït qua gioáng nhö vaäy; cuõng chaúng coù vua naøo trong caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân giöõ leã Vöôït qua gioáng nhö leã Vöôït qua maø Gioâ-si -a vôùi nhöõng thaày teá leã, ngöôøi Leâ-vi, caû daân Giu-ña, vaø Y-sô-ra-eân coù maët taïi ñoù, ñaõ giöõ.

35:19 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.

35:19 Ngöôøi ta giöõ leã Vöôït qua naøy nhaèm naêm thöù möôøi taùm ñôøi Gioâ-si -a trò vì.

35:20 After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of Egypt came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out against him.

35:20 Sau caùc vieäc aáy, khi Gioâ-si -a ñaõ söûa sang ñeàn thôø roài, thì Neâ-coâ, vua EÂ-díp-toâ, ñi leân haõm ñaùnh Caït-keâ-mít, treân bôø soâng Ô-phô-raùt; Gioâ-si -a keùo ra ñoùn ngöôøi.

35:21 But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with you, you king of Judah? I come not against you this day, but against the house wherewith I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear you from meddling with God, who is with me, that he destroy you not.

35:21 Neâ-coâ sai söù ñeán noùi vôùi ngöôøi raèng: Hôõi vua Giu-ña, ta vôùi ngöôi coù ñieàu gì chaêng? Ngaøy nay ta chaúng ñeán ñaëng haõm ñaùnh ngöôi ñaâu, nhöng ta ra ñaùnh nhaø thuø nghòch nöôùc ta; Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ phaùn bieåu ta khaù voäi vaøng; vaäy, haõy thoâi, chôù choáng cöï Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, laø Ñaáng ôû cuøng ta, e Ngaøi huûy dieät ngöôi chaêng.

35:22 Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.

35:22 Daàu vaäy, Gioâ-si -a chaúng khöùng thoái laïi, chaúng chòu nghe lôøi Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi caäy Neâ-coâ maø phaùn ra; nhöng laïi aên maëc giaû daïng ñaëng ñoái ñòch cuøng ngöôøi beøn ñeán ñaùnh giaëc taïi truõng Meâ-ghi-ñoâ.

35:23 And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants, Have me away; for I am sore wounded.

35:23 Caùc lính caàm cung baén nhaèm vua Gioâ-si -a; vua noùi vôùi ñaày tôù mình raèng: haõy ñem ta ra khoûi ñaây vì ta bò thöông naëng.

35:24 His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died, and was buried in one of the sepulchers of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem mourned for Josiah.

35:24 Caùc ñaày tôù ngöôøi ñem ngöôøi khoûi xe, ñeå ngöôøi trong moät caùi xe thöù nhì maø ngöôøi coù saün, roài ñem ngöôøi veà Gieâ-ru-sa-lem. Ngöôøi thaùc, ñöôïc choân taïi trong moà maû cuûa toå phuï ngöôøi. Caû Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem ñeàu thöông khoùc ngöôøi.

35:25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.

 2 Su ky - 2 Chronicles

36:1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made him king in his father's position in Jerusalem.

36:1 Daân söï cuûa xöù beøn laäp Gioâ -a-cha, con trai Gioâ-si -a, laøm vua thay vì cha ngöôøi taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lam.

36:2 Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months in Jerusalem.

36:2 Gioâ -a-cha ñöôïc hai möôi ba tuoåi khi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø cai trò ba thaùng taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

36:3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.

36:3 Vua EÂ-díp-toâ truaát ngoâi ngöôøi taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø baét vaï xöù moät traêm ta laâng baïc vaø moät ta laâng vaøng.

36:4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried him to Egypt.

36:4 Ñoaïn, vua EÂ-díp-toâ laäp EÂ-li -a-kim, em Gioâ -a-cha, laøm vua cuûa Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø ñoåi teân ngöôøi ra laø Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kim. Neâ-coâ baét Gioâ -a-cha, anh cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kim, ñem ngöôøi veà xöù EÂ-díp-toâ.

36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God.

36:5 Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kim ñöôïc hai möôi laêm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua; ngöôøi cai trò möôøi moät naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, vaø laøm ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa ngöôøi.

36:6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in fetters, to carry him to Babylon.

36:6 Neâ-bu-caùt-neát-sa, vua Ba-by-loân, ñi leân haõm ñaùnh ngöôøi, xieàng ngöôøi laïi, vaø daãn ngöôøi qua Ba-by-loân.

36:7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.

36:7 Neâ-bu-caùt-neát-sa cuõng ñoaït laáy ñem veà Ba-by-loân nhöõng khí duïng cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, roài ñeå vaøo trong mieãu ngöôøi taïi Ba-by-loân.

36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his position.

36:8 Caùc coâng vieäc khaùc cuûa Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kim nhöõng söï gôùm ghieác ngöôøi ñaõ laøm, vaø söï ñaõ tìm ñöôïc trong loøng ngöôøi, thaûy ñeàu cheùp trong saùch caùc vua Y-sô-ra-eân vaø Giu-ña Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kin, con trai ngöôøi, cai trò theá cho ngöôøi.

36:9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD.

36:9 Gieâ-hoâ-gia-kin ñöôïc möôøi taùm tuoåi khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø cai trò ba thaùng möôøi ngaøy taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem. Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc taïi tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.

36:10 And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.

36:10 Sang ñaàu naêm, vua Neâ-bu-caùt-neát-sa sai baét ngöôøi daãn veà Ba-by-loân, cuøng ñoaït laáy ñem veà caùc vaät toát ñeïp cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, roài laäp Seâ-ñeâ-kia, em ngöôøi, laøm vua Giu-ña vaø Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

36:11 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned eleven years in Jerusalem.

36:11 Seâ-ñeâ-kia ñöôïc hai möôi moát tuoåi, khi ngöôøi leân ngoâi laøm vua, vaø cai trò möôøi moät naêm taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

36:12 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the LORD.

36:12 Ngöôøi laøm ñieàu aùc tröôùc maët Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa ngöôøi, khoâng haï mình xuoáng tröôùc maët Gieâ-reâ-mi, laø ñaáng tieân tri vaâng maïng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø khuyeân baûo ngöôøi.

36:13 And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto the LORD God of Israel.

36:13 Ngöôøi cuõng daáy leân nghòch cuøng vua Neâ-bu-caùt-neát-sa, laø vua ñaõ buoäc ngöôøi chæ Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi maø theà; song ngöôøi laïi cöùng coå raén loøng, khoâng khöùng trôû veà cuøng Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa Y-sô-ra-eân.

36:14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.

36:14 Nhöõng thaày teá leã caû vaø daân söï ñeàu theo nhöõng söï gôùm ghieác cuûa caùc daân ngoaïi bang maø phaïm toäi loãi nhieàu quaù ñoãi; laøm cho oâ ueá ñeàn cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va maø Ngaøi ñaõ bieät rieâng ra thaùnh taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem.

36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up early, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling place:

36:15 Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï chuùng, vì coù loøng thöông xoùt daân söï vaø ñeàn cuûa Ngaøi; neân haèng sai söù giaû ñeán cuøng chuùng;

36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

36:16 nhöng chuùng nhaïo baùng söù giaû cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, khinh bæ caùc lôøi phaùn Ngaøi, cöôøi nhaïo nhöõng tieân tri cuûa Ngaøi, cho ñeán ñoãi côn thaïnh noä cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va noåi leân cuøng daân söï Ngaøi, chaúng coøn phöông chöõa ñöôïc.

36:17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them all into his hand.

36:17 Vì vaäy, Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi khieán vua daân Canh-ñeâ leân haõm ñaùnh chuùng, ngöôøi duøng göôm gieát nhöõng trai treû cuûa chuùng taïi ñeàn thaùnh hoï; ngöôøi chaúng thöông xoùt ñeán, hoaëc trai treû, nöõ ñoàng trinh, giaø caû, hay laø keû ñaàu baïc: Ngaøi phoù heát thaûy vaøo tay cuûa vua Canh-ñeâ.

36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes; all these he brought to Babylon.

36:18 Caùc khí duïng nhoû vaø lôùn cuûa ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi, caùc böûu vaät cuûa vua vaø cuûa caùc quan tröôûng vua, caû thaûy ñeàu bò ñem qua Ba-by-loân.

36:19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem, and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels thereof.

36:19 Chuùng ñoát ñeàn Ñöùc Chuùa Trôi, ñaùnh ñoå vaùch thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, laáy löûa ñoát caùc cung ñieän, vaø phaù huûy caùc khí duïng toát ñeïp cuûa noù.

36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon; where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom of Persia:

36:20 Phaøm ai thoaùt khoûi göôm, thì ngöôøi baét ñem qua Ba-by-loân; chuùng laøm toâi moïi cho ngöôøi vaø cho con trai ngöôøi cho ñeán ñôøi nöôùc Phe-rô-sô höng khôûi;

36:21 To fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath, to fulfill threescore and ten years.

36:21 ñeå cho öùng nghieäm lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ caäy mieäng Gieâ-reâ-mi maø phaùn ra, töùc cho ñeán khi xöù ñöôïc höôûng caùc naêm sa-baùt cuûa noù; vì troïn luùc xöù bò boû hoang, thì döôøng nhö giöõ sa-baùt, cho ñeán khi maõn haïn baûy möôi naêm.

36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,

36:22 Naêm thöù nhaát ñôøi Si-ru, vua Phe-rô-sô trò vì, Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ -a muoán laøm cho öùng nghieäm lôøi Ngaøi ñaõ caäy mieäng Gieâ-reâ-mi maø phaùn ra, beøn caûm ñoäng loøng Si-ru, vua Phe-rô-sô, rao truyeàn trong khaép nöôùc mình, vaø cuõng ra chieáu chæ, maø raèng:

36:23 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has the LORD God of heaven given me; and he has charged me to build him an house in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.

36:23 Si-ru, vua Phe-rô-sô, noùi nhö vaày: Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi ñaõ ban cho ta caùc nöôùc theá gian, vaø bieåu ta xaây caát cho Ngaøi moät caùi ñeàn ôû taïi Gieâ-ru-sa-lem trong xöù Giu-ña. Trong caùc ngöôi, phaøm ai thuoäc veà daân söï Ngaøi, haõy trôû leân Gieâ-ru-sa-lem; nguyeän Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa ngöôøi aáy ôû cuøng ngöôøi!
