1:20 And Joktan brings forth Almodad, and Sheleph, and Hazarmaveth, and Jerah,

1:33 And the sons of Midian; Ephah, and Epher, and Henoch, and Abida, and Eldaah. All these are the sons of Keturah.

1:34 And Abraham brings forth Isaac. The sons of Isaac; Esau and Israel.

2:5 The sons of Pharez; Hezron, and Hamul.

2:6 And the sons of Zerah; Zimri, and Ethan, and Heman, and Calcol, and Dara: five of them in all.
2:6 Con trai cuûa Xeâ-raùch laø Xim-ri, EÂ-than, Heâ-man, Canh-coân, vaø Ña-ra, coäng laø naêm ngöôøi.
2:7 And the sons of Carmi; Achar, the troubler of Israel, who transgressed in the thing accursed.

2:8 And the sons of Ethan; Azariah.

2:9 The sons also of Hezron, that were born unto him; Jerahmeel, and Ram, and Chelubai.
2:9 Con trai Heát-roân sanh ra laø Gieâ-raùc-meâ-en, Ram, vaø Keâ-lu-bai.
2:10 And Ram brings forth Amminadab; and Amminadab brings forth Nahshon, prince of the children of Judah;
2:10 Ram sanh ra A-mi-na-ñaùp, A-mi-na-ñaùp sanh Na-ha-soân, laøm quan tröôûng cuûa ngöôøi Giu-ña.
2:11 And Nahshon brings forth Salma, and Salma brings forth Boaz,
2:11 Na-ha-soân sanh Sanh-ma,
2:12 And Boaz brings forth Obed, and Obed brings forth Jesse,
2:12 Sanh-ma sanh Boâ-oâ, Boâ-oâ sanh OÂ-beát, OÂ-beát sanh Y-sai.
2:13 And Jesse brings forth his firstborn Eliab, and Abinadab the second, and Shimma the third,

2:19 And when Azubah was dead, Caleb took unto him Ephrath, which bare him Hur.

2:20 And Hur brings forth Uri, and Uri brings forth Bezaleel.
2:20 Hu-rô sanh U-ri, U-ri sanh ra Beát-sa-leâ-eân.
2:21 And afterward Hezron went in to the daughter of Machir the father of Gilead, whom he married when he was threescore years old; and she bare him Segub.
2:21 Sau khi aáy, Heát-roân ñaõ ñöôïc saùu möôi tuoåi, beøn cöôùi con gaùi cuûa Ma-ki, laø cha cuûa Ga-la-aùt, maø laøm vôï; ngöôøi naêm cuøng naøng, naøng sanh ñöôïc Seâ-guùp.
2:22 And Segub brings forth Jair, who had three and twenty cities in the land of Gilead.
2:22 Seâ-guùp sanh Giai-rô, ngöôøi naày ñöôïc hai möôi ba thaønh trong xöù Ga-la-aùt.
2:23 And he took Geshur, and Aram, with the towns of Jair, from them, with Kenath, and the towns thereof, even threescore cities. All these belonged to the sons of Machir the father of Gilead.
2:23 Daân Ghe-su-rô vaø daân Sy-ri chieám laáy nhöõng thaønh Giai-rô vaø Keâ-naùt, luoân vôùi caùc höông thoân cuûa ñòa haït noù, coäng laø saùu möôi thaønh. Nhöõng ngöôøi aáy ñeàu laø con chaùu Ma-ki, cha Ga-la-aùt.
2:24 And after that Hezron was dead in Calebephratah, then Abiah Hezron's wife bare him Ashur the father of Tekoa.
2:24 Sau khi Heát-roân qua ñôøi taïi Ca-leùp Eùp-ra-tha roài, thì vôï ngöôøi laø A-bi-gia, sanh cho ngöôøi A-su-rô, laø cha cuûa Theâ-coâ -a.
2:25 And the sons of Jerahmeel the firstborn of Hezron were, Ram the firstborn, and Bunah, and Oren, and Ozem, and Ahijah.
2:25 Gieâ-raùc-meâ-eân, con tröôûng nam cuûa Heát-roân, sanh Ram, laø con ñaàu loøng, keá ñeán Bu-na, OÂ-ren, OÂ-xem, vaø A-hi-gia.
2:26 Jerahmeel had also another wife, whose name was Atarah; she was the mother of Onam.
2:26 Gieâ-raùc-meâ-eân laïi laáy vôï khaùc, teân laø A-ta-ra, meï cuûa OÂ-nam.
2:27 And the sons of Ram the firstborn of Jerahmeel were, Maaz, and Jamin, and Eker.
2:27 Con trai cuûa Ram, con tröôûng nam cuûa Gieâ-raùc-meâ-eân, laø Ma-aùch, Gia-min, vaø EÂ-ke.
2:28 And the sons of Onam were, Shammai, and Jada. And the sons of Shammai; Nadab and Abishur.
2:28 Con trai cuûa OÂ-nam laø Sa-mai vaø Gia-ña. Con trai cuûa Sa-mai, laø Na-ñaùp vaø A-bi-su.
2:29 And the name of the wife of Abishur was Abihail, and she bare him Ahban, and Molid.
2:29 Teân vôï cuûa A-bi-su laø A-bi-hai; naøng sanh cho ngöôøi Aïc-ban vaø Moâ-lít.
2:30 And the sons of Nadab; Seled, and Appaim: but Seled died without children.
2:30 Con trai cuûa Na-ñaùp laø Seâ-le vaø Aùp-ba-im. Nhöng Seâ-le qua ñôøi, khoâng coù con.
2:31 And the sons of Appaim; Ishi. And the sons of Ishi; Sheshan. And the children of Sheshan; Ahlai.
2:31 Con trai cuûa Aùp-ba-im laø Di-si. Con trai cuûa Di-si laø Seâ-san. Con trai cuûa Seâ-san laø Aïc-lai.
2:32 And the sons of Jada the brother of Shammai; Jether, and Jonathan: and Jether died without children.
2:32 Con trai cuûa Gia-ña, em Sa-mai, laø Gieâ-the vaø Gioâ-na-than; Gieâ-the qua ñôøi, khoâng coù con.
2:33 And the sons of Jonathan; Peleth, and Zaza. These were the sons of Jerahmeel.
2:33 Con trai cuûa Gioâ-na-than laø Pheâ-leát vaø Xa-xa. Aáy laø con chaùu Gieâ-raùc-meâ-eân.
2:34 Now Sheshan had no sons, but daughters. And Sheshan had a servant, an Egyptian, whose name was Jarha.
2:34 Vaû, Seâ-san khoâng con trai, song coù con gaùi; cuõng coù moät ñöùa toâi tôù EÂ-díp-toâ, leân laø Gia-ra.
2:35 And Sheshan gave his daughter to Jarha his servant to wife; and she bare him Attai.
2:35 Seâ-san gaû con gaùi mình cho noù; naøng sanh Aït-tai cho ngöôøi.
2:36 And Attai brings forth Nathan, and Nathan brings forth Zabad,
2:36 Aït-tai sanh Na-than, Na-than sanh Xa-baùt,
2:37 And Zabad brings forth Ephlal, and Ephlal brings forth Obed,
2:37 Xa-baùt sanh Eùp-la, Eùp-la sanh OÂ-beát,
2:38 And Obed brings forth Jehu, and Jehu brings forth Azariah,

2:39 And Azariah brings forth Helez, and Helez brings forth Eleasah,

2:40 And Eleasah brings forth Sisamai, and Sisamai brings forth Shallum,
2:40 EÂ-la-xa sanh Sít-mai, Sít-mai sanh Sa-lum,
2:41 And Shallum brings forth Jekamiah, and Jekamiah brings forth Elishama.

9:38 And Mikloth brings forth Shimeam. And they also dwelt with their brethren at Jerusalem, opposite to their brethren.

9:40 And the son of Jonathan was Meribbaal: and Meribbaal brings forth Micah.

10:1 Now the Philistines fought against Israel; and the men of Israel fled from before the Philistines, and fell down slain in mount Gilboa.
10:1 Vaû, daân Phi-li-tin tranh chieán vôùi Y-sô-ra-eân. Daân Y-sô-ra-eân chaïy troán khoûi tröôùc maët daân Phi-li-tin, coù nhieàu ngöôøi bò thöông cheát treân nuùi Ghinh-boâ -a.
10:2 And the Philistines followed hard after Saul, and after his sons; and the Philistines slew Jonathan, and Abinadab, and Malchishua, the sons of Saul.
10:2 Daân Phi-li-tin ñuoåi theo kòp Sau-lô vaø caùc con trai ngöôøi, ñaùnh gieát caùc con trai aáy, laø Gioâ-na-than, A-bi-na-ñaùp, vaø Manh-ki-sua.
10:3 And the battle went sore against Saul, and the archers hit him, and he was wounded of the archers.
10:3 Côn giaëc raát kòch lieät, laøm cho Sau-lô thieät cöïc khoå; khi lính caàm cung kòp ñeán ngöôøi beøn baén ngöôøi bò thöông.
10:4 Then said Saul to his armour bearer, Draw your sword, and thrust me through therewith; lest these uncircumcised come and abuse me. But his armour bearer would not; for he was sore afraid. So Saul took a sword, and fell upon it.
10:4 Sau-lô baûo keû vaùc binh khí haàu mình raèng: Ngöôi haõy tuoát göôm cuûa ngöôi vaø ñaâm gieát ta, keûo keû chaúng chòu caét bì kia ñeán saûn nghieäp ta. Song keû vaùc binh khí ngöôøi khoâng khöùng vaâng maïng, vì laáy laøm sôï haõi. Sau-lô beøn caàm laáy göôm mình cuùi thuùc vaøo ngöïc.
10:5 And when his armour bearer saw that Saul was dead, he fell likewise on the sword, and died.
10:5 Khi keû vaùc binh khí thaáy Sau-lô cheát roài, thì cuõng laáy göôm cuùi thuùc vaøo ngöïc mình luoân.
10:6 So Saul died, and his three sons, and all his house died together.
10:6 Vaäy, Sau-lô, ba con trai ngöôøi, vaø caû nhaø ngöôøi ñeàu ñoàng nhau cheát.
10:7 And when all the men of Israel that were in the valley saw that they fled, and that Saul and his sons were dead, then they forsook their cities, and fled: and the Philistines came and dwelt in them.
10:7 Khi daân Y-sô-ra-eân ôû trong ñoàng baèng thaáy ñaïo binh chaïy troán, Sau-lô cuøng caùc con trai ngöôøi ñaõ cheát roài, thì boû thaønh mình maø troán ñi; daân Phi-li-tin ñeán ôû trong caùc thaønh aáy.
10:8 And it came to pass on the next day, when the Philistines came to strip the slain, that they found Saul and his sons fallen in mount Gilboa.
10:8 Ngaøy hoâm sau, daân Phi-li-tin ñeán boùc loät nhöõng keû töû traän, thaáy Sau-lô vaø caùc con trai ngöôøi ngaõ cheát treân nuùi Ghinh-boâ -a.
10:9 And when they had stripped him, they took his head, and his armour, and sent into the land of the Philistines round about, to carry tidings unto their idols, and to the people.
10:9 Chuùng boùc loät thaây Sau-lô, cheùm ñaàu ngöôøi, caát laáy binh khí ngöôøi, roài sai keû ñi khaép xöù Phi-li-tin, ñeå baùo tin cho caùc thaàn töôïng vaø daân söï.
10:10 And they put his armour in the house of their gods, and fastened his head in the temple of Dagon.
10:10 Chuùng ñeå binh khí cuûa ngöôøi taïi trong mieãu caùc thaàn cuûa chuùng noù, coøn ñaàu ngöôøi thì ñoùng ñinh treo trong chuøa Ña-goân.
10:11 And when all Jabeshgilead heard all that the Philistines had done to Saul,
10:11 Khi daân cö Gia-be ôû Ga-la-aùt nghe nhöõng ñieàu daân Phi-li-tin ñaõ laøm cho Sau-lô,
10:12 They arose, all the valiant men, and took away the body of Saul, and the bodies of his sons, and brought them to Jabesh, and buried their bones under the oak in Jabesh, and fasted seven days.
10:12 thì nhöõng ngöôøi maïnh daïn ñeàu caûm ñoäng ñi leân cöôùp laáy xaùc vua Sau-lô vaø xaùc caùc con trai ngöôøi, ñem veà Gia-be, choân haøi coát cuûa hoï döôùi caây thoâng taïi Gia-be, ñoaïn kieâng aên baûy ngaøy.
10:13 So Saul died for his transgression which he committed against the LORD, even against the word of the LORD, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;
10:13 Aáy vaäy, vua Sau-lô cheát, vì toäi loãi mình ñaõ phaïm cuøng Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va, vaø vì chaúng coù vaâng theo maïng lònh cuûa Ngaøi; laïi vì ñaõ caàu hoûi baø boùng,
10:14 And enquired not of the LORD: therefore he slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.
10:14 chaúng coù caàu hoûi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; vaäy, vì côù aáy Ngaøi gieát ngöôøi, dôøi nöôùc ngöôøi cho veà Ña-vít, con trai Y-sai.
11:1 Then all Israel gathered themselves to David unto Hebron, saying, Behold, we are your bone and your flesh.
11:1 Luùc aáy, caû Y-sô-ra-eân ñeàu nhoùm ñeán cuøng Ña-vít taïi Heáp-roân, maø noùi raèng: Kìa, chuùng toâi voán laø xöông thòt cuûa oâng.
11:2 And moreover in time past, even when Saul was king, you were he that led out and brought in Israel: and the LORD your God said unto you, You shall feed my people Israel, and you shall be ruler over my people Israel.
11:2 Khi tröôùc daàu Sau-lô coøn cai trò chuùng toâi, thì oâng ñaõ daãn daân Y-sô-ra-eân vaøo ra; vaø Gieâ-hoâ-va Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa oâng coù phaùn cuøng oâng raèng: Ngöôi seõ chaên nuoâi daân ta laø Y-sô-ra-eân, laøm quan töôùng chuùng noù.
11:3 Therefore came all the elders of Israel to the king to Hebron; and David made a covenant with them in Hebron before the LORD; and they anointed David king over Israel, according to the word of the LORD by Samuel.
11:3 Aáy vaäy, caùc tröôûng laõo Y-sô-ra-eân ñeán cuøng vua ôû Heáp-roân; Ña-vít beøn laäp giao öôùc vôùi chuùng taïi Heáp-roân tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va; ñoaïn, chuùng xöùc daàu cho Ña-vít laøm vua treân Y-sô-ra-eân, y nhö lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ caäy Sa-mu-eân phaùn ra vaäy.
11:4 And David and all Israel went to Jerusalem, which is Jebus; where the Jebusites were, the inhabitants of the land.
11:4 Ña-vít vaø caû daân Y-sô-ra-eân ñi leân thaønh Gieâ-ru-sa-lem, aáy laø Gieâ-bu; ôû ñoù coù ngöôøi Gieâ-bu-sít, laø daân cuûa xöù.
11:5 And the inhabitants of Jebus said to David, You shall not come here. Nevertheless David took the castle of Zion, which is the city of David.
11:5 Daân cö Gieâ-bu noùi cuøng Ña-vít raèng: Ngöôi seõ chaúng heà vaøo ñaây. Daàu vaäy, Ña-vít chieám laáy ñoàn luõy Si-oân, laáy laø thaønh Ña-vít.
11:6 And David said, Whosoever strikes the Jebusites first shall be chief and captain. So Joab the son of Zeruiah went first up, and was chief.
11:6 Ña-vít noùi raèng: Heã ai haõm ñaùnh daân Gieâ-bu-sít tröôùc heát, aét seõ ñöôïc laøm tröôûng vaø laøm töôùng. Vaäy, Gioâ-aùp, con trai Xeâ-ru-gia, ñi leân ñaùnh tröôùc heát, neân ñöôïc laøm quan tröôûng.
11:7 And David dwelt in the castle; therefore they called it the city of David.
11:7 Ña-vít ôû trong ñoàn; vaäy neân goïi laø thaønh Ña-vít.
11:8 And he built the city round about, even from Millo round about: and Joab repaired the rest of the city.
11:8 Ngöôøi xaây töôøng thaønh boán phía, töø Mi-loâ cho ñeán khaép chung quanh; coøn phaàn thaønh dö laïi thì Gioâ-aùp söûa sang.
11:9 So David waxed greater and greater: for the LORD of hosts was with him.

11:10 These also are the chief of the mighty men whom David had, who strengthened themselves with him in his kingdom, and with all Israel, to make him king, according to the word of the LORD concerning Israel.
11:10 Ñaây laø nhöõng keû laøm töôùng caùc lính maïnh daïn cuûa Ña-vít, vaø ñaõ phuï giuùp ngöôøi ñöôïc ngoâi nöôùc, cuøng vôùi caû Y-sô-ra-eân, laäp ngöôøi leân laøm vua, y nhö lôøi Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va ñaõ phaùn veà Y-sô-ra-eân.
11:11 And this is the number of the mighty men whom David had; Jashobeam, an Hachmonite, the chief of the captains: he lifted up his spear against three hundred slain by him at the same.
11:11 Naày laø soá caùc lính maïnh daïn cuûa Ña-vít: Gia-soâ-beâ-am, con trai cuûa Haùc-moâ-ni, laøm ñaàu caùc töôùng; aáy laø ngöôøi duøng giaùo mình maø gieát ba traêm ngöôøi trong moät löôït.
11:12 And after him was Eleazar the son of Dodo, the Ahohite, who was one of the three mighty men.
11:12 Sau ngöôøi coù EÂ-leâ -a-sa, con trai cuûa Ñoâ-ñoâ, ôû A-hoâ -a, laø moät ngöôøi trong ba ngöôøi maïnh daïn.
11:13 He was with David at Pasdammim, and there the Philistines were gathered together to battle, where was a parcel of ground full of barley; and the people fled from before the Philistines.
11:13 Ngöôøi naày ôû cuøng Ña-vít nôi Pha-ña-mim, khi quaân Phi-li-tin nhoùm laïi ñaëng giao chieán. ÔÛ ñoù coù moät ñaùm ruoäng maïch nha, vaø daân söï ñeàu chaïy troán khoûi maët daân Phi-li-tin.
11:14 And they set themselves in the midst of that parcel, and delivered it, and slew the Philistines; and the LORD saved them by a great deliverance.
11:14 Coøn hoï ñeàu ñöùng trong ruoäng binh vöïc noù, vaø ñaùnh hôn daân Phi-li-tin, vaø Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va khieán cho hoï ñaëng söï thaéng traän raát lôùn.
11:15 Now three of the thirty captains went down to the rock to David, into the cave of Adullam; and the host of the Philistines encamped in the valley of Rephaim.
11:15 Trong boïn ba möôi ngöôøi laøm töôùng, coù ba ngöôøi ñi xuoáng hang ñaù A-ñu-lam, ñeán cuøng Ña-vít. Coøn ñoäi quaân Phi-li-tin ñoùng traïi trong truõng Reâ-pha-im.
11:16 And David was then in the hold, and the Philistines' garrison was then at Bethlehem.
11:16 Luùc aáy Ña-vít ôû trong ñoàn, vaø coù phoøng binh cuûa daân Phi-li-tin ôû Beát-leâ-hem.
11:17 And David longed, and said, Oh that one would give me drink of the water of the well of Bethlehem, that is at the gate!
11:17 Ña-vít öôùc ao raèng: Than oâi! chôù gì ai ban cho ta nöôùc uoáng cuûa gieáng beân cöûa thaønh Beát-leâ-hem!
11:18 And the three brake through the host of the Philistines, and drew water out of the well of Bethlehem, that was by the gate, and took it, and brought it to David: but David would not drink of it, but poured it out to the LORD.
11:18 Vaäy, ba ngöôøi naày xoâng ngang qua traïi Phi-li-tin muùc nöôùc trong gieáng beân cöûa thaønh Beát-leâ-hem, ñem veà cho Ña-vít uoáng; song ngöôøi chaúng chòu uoáng, beøn raûy nöôùc aáy ra tröôùc maët Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va,
11:19 And said, My God forbid it me, that I should do this thing: shall I drink the blood of these men that have put their lives in jeopardy? for with the jeopardy of their lives they brought it. Therefore he would not drink it. These things did these three might.

11:20 And Abishai the brother of Joab, he was chief of the three: for lifting up his spear against three hundred, he slew them, and had a name among the three.
11:20 Laïi coù A-bi-sai, em cuûa Gioâ-aùp, laøm ñaàu trong ba ngöôøi maïnh daïn; ngöôøi duøng giaùo mình gieát ba traêm ngöôøi, neân noåi danh tieáng trong ba ngöôøi aáy.
11:21 Of the three, he was more honourable than the two; for he was their captain: nevertheless he attained not to the first three.

11:22 Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, the son of a valiant man of Kabzeel, who had done many acts; he slew two lionlike men of Moab: also he went down and slew a lion in a pit in a snowy day.

11:23 And he slew an Egyptian, a man of great stature, five cubits high; and in the Egyptian's hand was a spear like a weaver's beam; and he went down to him with a staff, and plucked the spear out of the Egyptian's hand, and slew him with his own spear.

11:24 These things did Benaiah the son of Jehoiada, and had the name among the three mighty men.
11:24 Aáy laø coâng vieäc Beâ-na-gia, con trai Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña, ñaõ laøm, ñöôïc noåi danh tieáng trong ba ngöôøi maïnh daïn.
11:25 Behold, he was honourable among the thirty, but attained not to the first three: and David set him over his guard.

12:1 Now these are they that came to David to Ziklag, while he yet kept himself close because of Saul the son of Kish: and they were among the mighty men, helpers of the war.

12:2 Chuùng ñeàu coù taøi giöông cung, gioûi duøng daây gioùng lieäng ñaù, caàm cung baén teân, hoaëc baèng tay höõu hay laø baèng tay taû; caû ñeàu thuoäc veà doøng Sau-lô, veà chi phaùi Beân-gia-min. Naày laø teân hoï:
12:3 The chief was Ahiezer, then Joash, the sons of Shemaah the Gibeathite; and Jeziel, and Pelet, the sons of Azmaveth; and Berachah, and Jehu the Antothite.
12:3 A-hi-eâ-xe laøm ñaàu, vaø Gioâ-aùch, con trai cuûa Seâ-ma ôû Ghi-beâ -a, Gieâ-xi-eân vaø Pheâ-leát, con trai cuûa Aùch-ma-veát; Beâ-ca-ra, Gieâ-hu ôû A-na-toát;
12:4 And Ismaiah the Gibeonite, a mighty man among the thirty, and over the thirty; and Jeremiah, and Jahaziel, and Johanan, and Josabad the Gederathite,
12:4 Gít-mai-gia ôû Ga-ba-oân, laø keû maïnh daïn trong ba möôi ngöôøi kia, vaø laøm ñaàu hoï; laïi coù Gieâ-reâ-mi; Gia-ha-xi-eân; Gioâ-ha-nan; Gioâ-xa-baùt ôû Gheâ-ñeâ-ra;
12:5 Eluzai, and Jerimoth, and Bealiah, and Shemariah, and Shephatiah the Haruphite,
12:5 EÂ-lu-xai; Gieâ-ri-moát; Beâ -a-lia; Seâ-ma-ri -a; Seâ-pha-ti -a ôû Ha-roáp;
12:6 Elkanah, and Jesiah, and Azareel, and Joezer, and Jashobeam, the Korhites,
12:6 Eân-ca-na, Di-si-gia, A-xa-reân, Gioâ-eâ-xe, vaø Gia-soâ-beâ-am, ngöôøi Coâ-reâ;
12:7 And Joelah, and Zebadiah, the sons of Jeroham of Gedor.

12:8 And of the Gadites there separated themselves unto David into the hold to the wilderness men of might, and men of war fit for the battle, that could handle shield and buckler, whose faces were like the faces of lions, and were as swift as the roes upon the mountains;
12:8 Trong chi phaùi Gaùt, coù nhöõng ngöôøi tôùi cuøng Ña-vít taïi nôi ñoàn trong ñoàng vaéng, voán laø keû maïnh meõ, coù taøi chieán traän, caàm khieân, caàm giaùo, dieän maïo nhö sö töû, lanh leï nhö hoaøng döông treân nuùi.
12:9 Ezer the first, Obadiah the second, Eliab the third,
12:9 EÂ-xe laøm ñaàu; OÂ-ba-ñia thöù nhì, EÂ-li-aùp thöù baûy,
12:10 Mishmannah the fourth, Jeremiah the fifth,
12:10 Mích-ma-nan thöù tö, Gieâ-reâ-mi thöù naêm,
12:11 Attai the sixth, Eliel the seventh,
12:11 Aït-tai thöù saùu, EÂ-li-eân thöù baûy,
12:12 Johanan the eighth, Elzabad the ninth,
12:12 Gioâ-ha-nan thöù taùm, Eân-xa-baùt thöù chín,
12:13 Jeremiah the tenth, Machbanai the eleventh.
12:13 Gieâ-reâ-mi thöù möôøi, Maùc-ba-nai thöù möôøi moät,
12:14 These were of the sons of Gad, captains of the host: one of the least was over an hundred, and the greatest over a thousand.
12:14 chuùng ñeàu laø con chaùu cuûa Gaùt, vaø laøm quan cai cô binh; keû nhoû cai moät traêm ngöôøi, keû lôùn cai moät ngaøn ngöôøi.
12:15 These are they that went over Jordan in the first month, when it had overflowed all his banks; and they put to flight all them of the valleys, both toward the east, and toward the west.
12:15 Aáy laø nhöõng keû ñi qua soâng Gioâ-ñanh trong thaùng gieâng, luùc nöôùc ngaäp hai beân bôø, ñuoåi caùc daân söï ôû taïi truõng hoaëc veà phía ñoâng hay veà phía taây.
12:16 And there came of the children of Benjamin and Judah to the hold unto David.
12:16 Laïi coù ngöôøi thuoäc veà Beân-gia-min vaø Giu-ña cuõng ñi tôùi cuøng Ña-vít trong ñoàn ngöôøi.
12:17 And David went out to meet them, and answered and said unto them, If all of you be come peaceably unto me to help me, mine heart shall be knit unto you: but if all of you be come to betray me to mine enemies, seeing there is no wrong in mine hands, the God of our fathers look thereon, and rebuke it.
12:17 Ña-vít ra ñoùn röôùc chuùng, maø noùi raèng: Neáu caùc ngöôi ñeán cuøng ta caùch hoøa bình ñeå huøa giuùp ta, thì loøng ta seõ hieäp cuøng caùc ngöôi; ví baèng caùc ngöôi thaàm möu löøa ta cho keû thuø nghòch, nguyeän Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi cuûa toå phuï ta xem xeùt vaø ñoaùn phaït; vì tay ta khoâng coù phaïm ñieàu loãi naøo.
12:18 Then the spirit came upon Amasai, who was chief of the captains, and he said, Yours are we, David, and on your side, you son of Jesse: peace, peace be unto you, and peace be to yours helpers; for your God helps you. Then David received them, and made them captains of the band.
12:18 Khi aáy coù A-ma-sai laøm ñaàu trong ba möôi ngöôøi aáy, ñöôïc Thaùnh Linh caûm ñoäng, maø noùi raèng: Hôõi Ña-vít, chuùng toâi ñeàu veà oâng! Hôõi con trai Y-sai, chuùng toâi binh vò oâng! Nguyeän oâng ñöôïc bình yeân, bình yeân; nguyeän keû giuùp ñôõ oâng cuõng ñöôïc bình yeân; bôûi vì Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi oâng phoø trôï oâng! Ña-vít beøn nhaän tieáp caùc ngöôi aáy, ñaët laøm töôùng.
12:19 And there fell some of Manasseh to David, when he came with the Philistines against Saul to battle: but they helped them not: for the lords of the Philistines upon advisement sent him away, saying, He will fall to his master Saul to the jeopardy of our heads.
12:19 Cuõng coù maáy ngöôøi thuoäc veà Meâ-na-se ñeán theo Ña-vít khi ngöôøi cuøng quaân Phi-li-tin ñi giao chieán cuøng Sau-lô; song hoï chaúng giuùp ñôõ quaân Phi-li-tin, vì caùc quan tröôûng Phi-li-tin baøn luaän nhau raèng: Sôï e noù trôû veà cuøng Sau-lô, chuû noù, laøm nguy cho ñaàu chuùng ta chaêng.
12:20 As he went to Ziklag, there fell to him of Manasseh, Adnah, and Jozabad, and Jediael, and Michael, and Jozabad, and Elihu, and Zilthai, captains of the thousands that were of Manasseh.
12:20 Khi ngöôøi trôû veà Xieác-laïc, coù maáy ngöôøi bôûi Meâ-na-se ñeán theo ngöôøi, laø Aùt-na, Gioâ-xa-baùt, EÂ-li-hu, vaø Xi-leâ-thai, ñeàu laøm quan-cai ngaøn quaân trong chi phaùi Meâ-na-se.
12:21 And they helped David against the band of the rovers: for they were all mighty men of valour, and were captains in the host.
12:21 Nhöõng keû naày phuï giuùp Ña-vít ñoái ñòch vôùi quaân giaëc cöôùp, bôûi vì chuùng ñeàu laø ngöôøi maïnh daïn, vaø laøm quan töôùng ñoäi binh.
12:22 For at that time day by day there came to David to help him, until it was a great host, like the host of God.
12:22 Haèng ngaøy coù ngöôøi ñeán cuøng Ña-vít ñaëng giuùp ñôõ ngöôøi, cho ñeán khi thaønh ñoäi quaân lôùn, nhö ñoäi quaân cuûa Ñöùc Chuùa Trôøi.
12:23 And these are the numbers of the bands that were ready armed to the war, and came to David to Hebron, to turn the kingdom of Saul to him, according to the word of the LORD.
12:23 Ñaây laø soá caùc quaân lính ñeán cuøng Ña-vít taïi Heáp-roân, ñaëng laøm cho nöôùc Sau-lô thuoäc veà ngöôøi, theo nhö lôøi cuûa Ñöùc Gieâ-hoâ-va.
12:24 The children of Judah that bare shield and spear were six thousand and eight hundred, ready armed to the war.
12:24 Trong con chaùu Giu-ña coù saùu ngaøn taùm traêm ngöôøi ñeàu caàm khieân, caàm giaùo, saém söûa tranh chieán.
12:25 Of the children of Simeon, mighty men of valour for the war, seven thousand and one hundred.
12:25 Bôûi con chaùu Si-meâ-oân, coù baûy ngaøn moät traêm ngöôøi maïnh daïn ñeàu ra traän ñöôïc.
12:26 Of the children of Levi four thousand and six hundred.
12:26 Bôûi con chaùu Leâ-vi, coù boán ngaøn saùu traêm.
12:27 And Jehoiada was the leader of the Aaronites, and with him were three thousand and seven hundred;
12:27 Gieâ-hoâ-gia-ña cai quaûn nhaø A-roân, vaø vôùi ngöôøi coù ba ngaøn baûy traêm ngöôøi.
12:28 And Zadok, a young man mighty of valour, and of his father's house twenty and two captains.
12:28 Laïi coù Xa-ñoác, laø keû trai treû maïnh daïn, vaø vôùi ngöôøi coù hai möôi hai tröôûng cuûa nhaø cha ngöôøi.
12:29 And of the children of Benjamin, the kindred of Saul, three thousand: for until now the greatest part of them had kept the ward of the house of Saul.
12:29 Veà con chaùu Beân-gia-min, anh em cuûa Sau-lô, ñöôïc ba ngaøn ngöôøi; vì ñeán baáy giôø, phaàn lôùn hôn chuùng noù coøn ñöông theo nhaø Sau-lô.
12:30 And of the children of Ephraim twenty thousand and eight hundred, mighty men of valour, famous throughout the house of their fathers.
12:30 Veà con chaùu Eùp-ra-im, coù ñöôïc hai vaïn taùm traêm ngöôøi, ñeàu laø ngöôøi maïnh daïn, coù danh tieáng trong nhaø cha mình.
12:31 And of the half tribe of Manasseh eighteen thousand, which were expressed by name, to come and make David king.
12:31 Veà nöûa chi phaùi Meâ-na-se, coù moät vaïn taùm ngaøn ngöôøi, ai naáy ñeàu keå töøng teân, ñeán ñaëng laäp Ña-vít laøm vua.
12:32 And of the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do; the heads of them were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their commandment.
12:32 Veà con chaùu Y-sa-ca, coù nhöõng keû hieåu bieát thì giôø, vaø vieäc daân Y-sô-ra-eân neân laøm; chuùng noù hai traêm tröôûng toäc; coøn nhöõng ngöôøi anh em chuùng cuõng vaâng lònh chuùng baøn.
12:33 Of Zebulun, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, with all instruments of war, fifty thousand, which could keep rank: they were not of double heart.
12:33 Veà Sa-bu-loân, coù naêm vaïn ngöôøi hay baøy traän, caàm caùc thöù binh khí döï bò ñaëng giao chieán, haøng nguõ chænh teà, coù moät loøng moät daï.
12:34 And of Naphtali a thousand captains, and with them with shield and spear thirty and seven thousand.
12:34 Veà Neùp-ta-li, coù moät ngaøn quan cai, vôùi ba vaïn baûy ngaøn ngöôøi caàm khieân caàm giaùo theo mình.
12:35 And of the Danites expert in war twenty and eight thousand and six hundred.
12:35 Veà Ñan, coù hai vaïn taùm ngaøn sau traêm ngöôøi coù taøi daøn traän.
12:36 And of Asher, such as went forth to battle, expert in war, forty thousand.
12:36 Veà A-se, coù boán vaïn ngöôøi hay keùo ra chinh chieán, vaø coù taøi daøn traän.
12:37 And on the other side of Jordan, of the Reubenites, and the Gadites, and of the half tribe of Manasseh, with all manner of instruments of war for the battle, an hundred and twenty thousand.
12:37 Coøn veà Ru-beân, Gaùt, vaø veà nöûa chi phaùi Meâ-na-se ôû beân kia soâng Gioâ-ñanh, coù möôøi hai vaïn ngöôøi caàm caùc thöù binh khí saün ra traän.
12:38 All these men of war, that could keep rank, came with a perfect heart to Hebron, to make David king over all Israel: and all the rest also of Israel were of one heart to make David king.
12:38 Nhöõng ngöôøi naày laø lính chieán coù taøi baøy traän, ñeàu laáy loøng thaønh maø keùo ñeán Heáp-roân ñaëng laäp Ña-vít laøm vua treân caû Y-sô-ra-eân; coøn nhöõng ngöôøi khaùc trong Y-sô-ra-eân cuõng ñeàu moät loøng moät daï muoán toân Ña-vít laøm vua.
12:39 And there they were with David three days, eating and drinking: for their brethren had prepared for them.
12:39 Chuùng ôû laïi vôùi vua Ña-vít ba ngaøy vaø aên uoáng; vì anh em cuûa chuùng ñaõ saém saün cho.
12:40 Moreover they that were nigh them, even unto Issachar and Zebulun and Naphtali, brought bread on asses, and on camels, and on mules, and on oxen, and food, meal, cakes of figs, and bunches of raisins, and wine, and oil, and oxen, and sheep abundantly: for there was joy in Israel.
12:40 Coøn nhöõng ngöôøi ôû mieàn laân caän hôn cho ñeán ñaát Y-sa-ca, Sa-bu-loân, vaø Neùp-ta-li ñeàu ñem chôû baèng löûa, laïc ñaø, con la, vaø con boø, naøo baùnh mì, boät mieán, traùi vaû, nho khoâ, röôïu, daàu, cuøng daãn boø vaø chieân ñeán raát nhieàu, bôûi vì coù söï vui veû nôi Y-sô-ra-eân.
