28:1 이 해 유다 왕 시드기야의 즉위한 지 오래지 않은 해 곧 사 년 오 월에 기브온 앗술의 아들 선지자 하나냐가 여호와의 집에서 제사장들과 모든 백성 앞에서 내게 말하여 가로되
28:1 And it came to pass the same year, in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the fourth year, and in the fifth month, that Hananiah the son of Azur the prophet, which was of Gibeon, spoke unto me in the house of the LORD, in the presence of the priests and of all the people, saying,
28:2 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하여 가라사대 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾었느니라
28:2 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, I have broken the yoke of the king of Babylon.
28:3 내가 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 이곳에서 바벨론으로 옮겨간 여호와의 집 모든 기구를 두 해가 차기 전에 다시 이곳으로 가져오게 하겠고
28:3 Within two full years will I bring again into this place all the vessels of the LORD's house, that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon took away from this place, and carried them to Babylon:
28:4 내가 또 유다 왕 여호야김의 아들 여고니야와 바벨론으로 간 유다 모든 포로를 다시 이곳으로 돌아오게 하리니 이는 내가 바벨론 왕의 멍에를 꺾을 것임이니라 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하는지라
28:4 And I will bring again to this place Jeconiah the son of Jehoiakim king of Judah, with all the captives of Judah, that went into Babylon, says the LORD: for I will break the yoke of the king of Babylon.
28:5 선지자 예레미야가 여호와의 집에 선 제사장들의 앞과 모든 백성 앞에서 선지자 하나냐에게 말할새
28:5 Then the prophet Jeremiah said unto the prophet Hananiah in the presence of the priests, and in the presence of all the people that stood in the house of the LORD,
28:6 선지자 예레미야가 말하되 아멘, 여호와는 이같이 하옵소서 여호와께서 네 예언대로 이루사 여호와의 집 기구와 모든 포로를 바벨론에서 이곳으로 다시 옮겨 오시기를 원하노라
28:6 Even the prophet Jeremiah said, Amen: the LORD do so: the LORD perform your words which you have prophesied, to bring again the vessels of the LORD's house, and all that is carried away captive, from Babylon into this place.
28:7 그러나 너는 이제 내가 네 귀와 모든 백성의 귀에 이르는 이 말을 들으라
28:7 Nevertheless hear you now this word that I speak in yours ears, and in the ears of all the people;
28:8 나와 너 이전 선지자들이 자고로 여러 나라와 큰 국가들에 대하여 전쟁과 재앙과 염병을 예언하였느니라
28:8 The prophets that have been before me and before you of old prophesied both against many countries, and against great kingdoms, of war, and of evil, and of pestilence.
28:9 평화를 예언하는 선지자는 그 예언자의 말이 응한 후에야 그는 진실로 여호와의 보내신 선지자로 알게 되리라
28:9 The prophet which prophesies of peace, when the word of the prophet shall come to pass, then shall the prophet be known, that the LORD has truly sent him.
28:10 선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 취하여 꺾고
28:10 Then Hananiah the prophet took the yoke from off the prophet Jeremiah's neck, and brake it.
28:11 모든 백성 앞에서 말하여 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 두 해가 차기 전에 열방의 목에서 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 멍에를 이같이 꺾어 버리리라 하셨느니라 하매 선지자 예레미야가 자기 길을 가니라
28:11 And Hananiah spoke in the presence of all the people, saying, Thus says the LORD; Even so will I break the yoke of Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon from the neck of all nations within the space of two full years. And the prophet Jeremiah went his way.
28:12 ○ 선지자 하나냐가 선지자 예레미야의 목에서 멍에를 꺾어 버린 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
28:12 Then the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the prophet, after that Hananiah the prophet had broken the yoke from off the neck of the prophet Jeremiah, saying,
28:13 너는 가서 하나냐에게 말하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 네가 나무 멍에를 꺾었으나 그 대신 쇠 멍에를 만들었느니라
28:13 Go and tell Hananiah, saying, Thus says the LORD; You have broken the yokes of wood; but you shall make for them yokes of iron.
28:14 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 내가 쇠 멍에로 이 모든 나라의 목에 메워 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살을 섬기게 하였으니 그들이 그를 섬기리라 내가 들짐승도 그에게 주었느니라 하신다 하라
28:14 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; I have put a yoke of iron upon the neck of all these nations, that they may serve Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon; and they shall serve him: and I have given him the beasts of the field also.
28:15 선지자 예레미야가 선지자 하나냐에게 이르되 하나냐여 들으라 여호와께서 너를 보내지 아니하셨거늘 네가 이 백성으로 거짓을 믿게 하는도다
28:15 Then said the prophet Jeremiah unto Hananiah the prophet, Hear now, Hananiah; The LORD has not sent you; but you make this people to trust in a lie.
28:16 그러므로 여호와께서 말씀하시되 내가 너를 지면에서 제하리니 네가 여호와께 패역하는 말을 하였음이라 금년에 죽으리라 하셨느니라 하더니
28:16 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will cast you from off the face of the earth: this year you shall die, because you have taught rebellion against the LORD.
28:17 선지자 하나냐가 그 해 칠 월에 죽었더라
28:17 So Hananiah the prophet died the same year in the seventh month.
29:1 선지자 예레미야가 예루살렘에서 이같은 편지를 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 옮겨 간 포로 중 남아 있는 장로들과 제사장들과 선지자들과 모든 백성에게 보내었는데
29:1 Now these are the words of the letter that Jeremiah the prophet sent from Jerusalem unto the residue of the elders which were carried away captives, and to the priests, and to the prophets, and to all the people whom Nebuchadnezzar had carried away captive from Jerusalem to Babylon;
29:2 때는 여고니야 왕과 국모와 환관들과 및 유다와 예루살렘 방백들과 목공들과 철공들이 예루살렘에서 떠난 후라
29:2 (After that Jeconiah the king, and the queen, and the eunuchs, the princes of Judah and Jerusalem, and the carpenters, and the smiths, were departed from Jerusalem;)
29:3 유다 왕 시드기야가 바벨론으로 보내어 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게로 가게 한 사반의 아들 엘라사와 힐기야의 아들 그마랴의 손에 위탁하였더라 일렀으되
29:3 By the hand of Elasah the son of Shaphan, and Gemariah the son of Hilkiah, (whom Zedekiah king of Judah sent unto Babylon to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon) saying,
29:4 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 사로잡혀 가게 한 모든 포로에게 이같이 이르노라
29:4 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, unto all that are carried away captives, whom I have caused to be carried away from Jerusalem unto Babylon;
29:5 너희는 집을 짓고 거기 거하며 전원을 만들고 그 열매를 먹으라
29:5 Build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them;
29:6 아내를 취하여 자녀를 생산하며 너희 아들로 아내를 취하며 너희 딸로 남편을 맞아 그들로 자녀를 생산케 하여 너희로 거기서 번성하고 쇠잔하지 않게 하라
29:6 Take all of you wives, and brought forth sons and daughters; and take wives for your sons, and give your daughters to husbands, that they may bear sons and daughters; that all of you may be increased there, and not diminished.
29:7 너희는 내가 사로잡혀 가게 한 그 성읍의 평안하기를 힘쓰고 위하여 여호와께 기도하라 이는 그 성이 평안함으로 너희도 평안할 것임이니라
29:7 And seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captives, and pray unto the LORD for it: for in the peace thereof shall all of you have peace.
29:8 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 너희 중 선지자들에게와 복술에게 혹하지 말며 너희가 꾼 바 꿈도 신청하지 말라
29:8 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Let not your prophets and your diviners, that be in the midst of you, deceive you, neither hearken to your dreams which all of you cause to be dreamed.
29:9 내가 그들을 보내지 아니하였어도 그들이 내 이름으로 거짓을 예언함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
29:9 For they prophesy falsely unto you in my name: I have not sent them, says the LORD.
29:10 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 바벨론에서 칠십 년이 차면 내가 너희를 권고하고 나의 선한 말을 너희에게 실행하여 너희를 이곳으로 돌아오게 하리라
29:10 For thus says the LORD, That after seventy years be accomplished at Babylon I will visit you, and perform my good word toward you, in causing you to return to this place.
29:11 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희를 향한 나의 생각은 내가 아나니 재앙이 아니라 곧 평안이요 너희 장래에 소망을 주려 하는 생각이라
29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
29:12 너희는 내게 부르짖으며 와서 내게 기도하면 내가 너희를 들을 것이요
29:12 Then shall all of you call upon me, and all of you shall go and pray unto me, and I will hearken unto you.
29:13 너희가 전심으로 나를 찾고 찾으면 나를 만나리라
29:13 And all of you shall seek me, and find me, when all of you shall search for me with all your heart.
29:14 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 너희에게 만나지겠고 너희를 포로 된 중에서 다시 돌아오게 하되 내가 쫓아 보내었던 열방과 모든 곳에서 모아 사로잡혀 떠나게 하던 본 곳으로 돌아오게 하리라 여호와의 말이니라 하셨느니라
29:14 And I will be found of you, says the LORD: and I will turn away your captivity, and I will gather you from all the nations, and from all the places where I have driven you, says the LORD; and I will bring you again into the place whence I caused you to be carried away captive.
29:15 ○ 너희가 말하기를 여호와께서 바벨론에서 우리를 위하여 선지자들을 일으키셨다 하므로
29:15 Because all of you have said, The LORD has raised us up prophets in Babylon;
29:16 여호와께서 다윗의 위에 앉은 왕과 이 성에 거하는 모든 백성 곧 너희와 함께 포로 되어 가지 아니한 너희 형제에게 대하여 이같이 말씀하시느니라
29:16 Know that thus says the LORD of the king that sits upon the throne of David, and of all the people that dwells in this city, and of your brethren that are not gone forth with you into captivity;
29:17 만군의 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 보라 내가 칼과 기근과 염병을 그들에게 보내어 그들로 악하여 먹을 수 없는 악한 무화과 같게 하겠고
29:17 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will send upon them the sword, the famine, and the pestilence, and will make them like vile figs, that cannot be eaten, they are so evil.
29:18 내가 칼과 기근과 염병으로 그들을 따르게 하며 그들을 세계 열방 중에 흩어 학대를 당하게 할 것이며 내가 그들을 쫓아 보낸 열방 중에서 저주거리와 놀램과 치소와 모욕거리가 되게 하리니
29:18 And I will persecute them with the sword, with the famine, and with the pestilence, and will deliver them to be removed to all the kingdoms of the earth, to be a curse, and an astonishment, and an hissing, and a reproach, among all the nations where I have driven them:
29:19 이는 내가 내 종 선지자들을 그들에게 보내되 부지런히 보내었으나 그들이 나 여호와의 말을 듣지 아니하며 듣지 아니함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
29:19 Because they have not hearkened to my words, says the LORD, which I sent unto them by my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them; but all of you would not hear, says the LORD.
29:20 그런즉 내가 예루살렘에서 바벨론으로 보낸 너희 모든 포로여 나 여호와의 말을 들을지니라
29:20 Hear all of you therefore the word of the LORD, all you of the captivity, whom I have sent from Jerusalem to Babylon:
29:21 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 골라야의 아들 아합과 마아세야의 아들 시드기야에 대하여 말하노라 그들은 내 이름으로 너희에게 거짓을 예언한 자라 보라 내가 그들을 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 붙이리니 그가 너희 목전에서 그들을 죽일 것이라
29:21 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, of Ahab the son of Kolaiah, and of Zedekiah the son of Maaseiah, which prophesy a lie unto you in my name; Behold, I will deliver them into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall slay them before your eyes;
29:22 너희 바벨론에 있는 유다 모든 포로가 그들로 저주거리를 삼아서 이르기를 여호와께서 너로 바벨론 왕이 불살라 죽인 시드기야와 아합 같게 하시기를 원하노라 하리니
29:22 And of them shall be taken up a curse by all the captivity of Judah which are in Babylon, saying, The LORD make you like Zedekiah and like Ahab, whom the king of Babylon roasted in the fire;
29:23 이는 그들이 이스라엘 중에서 망령되이 행하여 그 이웃의 아내와 행음하며 내가 그들에게 명하지 아니한 거짓을 내 이름으로 말함이니라 나는 아는 자요 증거인이니라 여호와의 말이니라 하셨다 하였더라
29:23 Because they have committed villainy in Israel, and have committed adultery with their neighbours' wives, and have spoken lying words in my name, which I have not commanded them; even I know, and am a witness, says the LORD.
29:24 ○ 너는 느헬람 사람 스마야에게 이같이 말하여 이르라
29:24 Thus shall you also speak to Shemaiah the Nehelamite, saying,
29:25 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하여 가라사대 네가 네 이름으로 예루살렘에 있는 모든 백성과 제사장 마아세야의 아들 스바냐와 모든 제사장에게 글을 보내어 이르기를
29:25 Thus speaks the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying, Because you have sent letters in your name unto all the people that are at Jerusalem, and to Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest, and to all the priests, saying,
29:26 여호와께서 너로 제사장 여호야다를 대신하여 제사장을 삼아 여호와의 집 유사로 세우심은 무릇 미친 자와 자칭 선지자를 착고에 채우며 칼을 메우게 하심이어늘
29:26 The LORD has made you priest in the position of Jehoiada the priest, that all of you should be officers in the house of the LORD, for every man that is mad, and makes himself a prophet, that you should put him in prison, and in the stocks.
29:27 이제 네가 어찌하여 너희 중에 자칭 선지자라 하는 아나돗 사람 예레미야를 책망하지 아니하느냐
29:27 Now therefore why have you not reproved Jeremiah of Anathoth, which makes himself a prophet to you?
29:28 대저 그가 바벨론에 있는 우리에게 편지하기를 때가 오래리니 너희는 집을 짓고 거기 거하며 전원을 만들고 그 열매를 먹으라 하였다 하였느니라
29:28 For therefore he sent unto us in Babylon, saying, This captivity is long: build all of you houses, and dwell in them; and plant gardens, and eat the fruit of them.
29:29 제사장 스바냐가 스마야의 글을 선지자 예레미야에게 읽어 들릴 때에
29:29 And Zephaniah the priest read this letter in the ears of Jeremiah the prophet.
29:30 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 가라사대
29:30 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
29:31 너는 모든 포로에게 글을 보내어 이르기를 여호와께서 느헬람 사람 스마야에 대하여 이같이 말씀하시되 내가 스마야를 보내지 아니하였거늘 그가 너희에게 예언하고 너희로 거짓을 믿게 하였도다
29:31 Send to all them of the captivity, saying, Thus says the LORD concerning Shemaiah the Nehelamite; Because that Shemaiah has prophesied unto you, and I sent him not, and he caused you to trust in a lie:
29:32 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 느헬람 사람 스마야와 그 자손을 벌하리니 그가 나 여호와께 패역한 말을 하였음을 인하여 이 백성 중에 거할 그의 사람이 하나도 없을 것이라 내가 내 백성에게 행하려 하는 선한 일을 그가 보지 못하리라 하셨다 하라 여호와의 말이니라
29:32 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will punish Shemaiah the Nehelamite, and his seed: he shall not have a man to dwell among this people; neither shall he behold the good that I will do for my people, says the LORD; because he has taught rebellion against the LORD.
30:1 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시니라
30:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
30:2 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 일러 가라사대 내가 네게 이른 모든 말을 책에 기록하라
30:2 Thus speaks the LORD God of Israel, saying, Write you all the words that I have spoken unto you in a book.
30:3 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 내 백성 이스라엘과 유다의 포로를 돌이킬 때가 이르리니 내가 그들을 그 열조에게 준 땅으로 돌아오게 할 것이라 그들이 그것을 차지하리라 여호와의 말이니라
30:3 For, lo, the days come, says the LORD, that I will bring again the captivity of my people Israel and Judah, says the LORD: and I will cause them to return to the land that I gave to their fathers, and they shall possess it.
30:4 ○ 여호와께서 이스라엘과 유다에 대하여 하신 말씀이 이러하니라
30:4 And these are the words that the LORD spoke concerning Israel and concerning Judah.
30:5 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 우리가 떨리는 소리를 들으니 두려움이요 평안함이 아니로다
30:5 For thus says the LORD; We have heard a voice of trembling, of fear, and not of peace.
30:6 너희는 자식을 해산하는 남자가 있는가 물어보라 남자마다 해산하는 여인 같이 손으로 각기 허리를 짚고 그 얼굴 빛이 창백하여 보임은 어찜이뇨
30:6 Ask all of you now, and see whether a man does travail with child? wherefore do I see every man with his hands on his loins, as a woman in travail, and all faces are turned into paleness?
30:7 슬프다 그 날이여 비할 데 없이 크니 이는 야곱의 환난의 때가 됨이로다마는 그가 이에서 구하여 냄을 얻으리로다
30:7 Alas! for that day is great, so that none is like it: it is even the time of Jacob's trouble, but he shall be saved out of it.
30:8 만군의 여호와가 말하노라 그 날에 내가 네 목에서 그 멍에를 꺾어 버리며 네 줄을 끊으리니 이방인이 다시는 너를 부리지 못할 것이며
30:8 For it shall come to pass in that day, says the LORD of hosts, that I will break his yoke from off your neck, and will burst your bonds, and strangers shall no more make use of him:
30:9 너희는 너희 하나님 나 여호와를 섬기며 내가 너희를 위하여 일으킬 너희 왕 다윗을 섬기리라
30:9 But they shall serve the LORD their God, and David their king, whom I will raise up unto them.
30:10 그러므로 나 여호와가 말하노라 내 종 야곱아 두려워 말라 이스라엘아 놀라지 말라 내가 너를 원방에서 구원하고 네 자손을 포로된 땅에서 구원하리니 야곱이 돌아와서 태평과 안락을 얻을 것이라 너를 두렵게 할 자 없으리라
30:10 Therefore fear you not, O my servant Jacob, says the LORD; neither be dismayed, O Israel: for, lo, I will save you from far, and your seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and shall be in rest, and be quiet, and none shall make him afraid.
30:11 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 너와 함께 하여 너를 구원할 것이라 내가 너를 흩었던 그 열방은 진멸한다 할지라도 너는 진멸하지 아니하리라 그러나 내가 공도로 너를 징책할 것이요 결코 무죄한 자로 여기지 아니하리라
30:11 For I am with you, says the LORD, to save you: though I make a full end of all nations where I have scattered you, yet I will not make a full end of you: but I will correct you in measure, and will not leave you altogether unpunished.
30:12 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 네 상처는 고칠 수 없고 네 창상은 중하도다
30:12 For thus says the LORD, Your bruise is incurable, and your wound is grievous.
30:13 네 송사를 변호할 자가 없고 네 상처를 싸맬 약이 없도다
30:13 There is none to plead your cause, that you may be bound up: you have no healing medicines.
30:14 너를 사랑하던 자가 다 너를 잊고 찾지 아니하니 이는 네 허물이 크고 네 죄가 수다함을 인하여 내가 대적의 상하게 하는 그것으로 너를 상하게 하며 잔학한 자의 징계하는 그것으로 너를 징계함이어늘
30:14 All your lovers have forgotten you; they seek you not; for I have wounded you with the wound of an enemy, with the chastisement of a cruel one, for the multitude of yours iniquity; because your sins were increased.
30:15 어찌하여 네 상처를 인하여 부르짖느뇨 네 고통이 낫지 못하리라 네 죄악의 큼과 죄의 수다함을 인하여 내가 네게 이 일을 행하였느니라
30:15 Why cry you for yours affliction? your sorrow is incurable for the multitude of yours iniquity: because your sins were increased, I have done these things unto you.
30:16 그러나 무릇 너를 먹는 자는 먹히며 무릇 너를 치는 자는 다 포로가 되며 너를 탈취하는 자는 탈취를 당하며 무릇 너를 약탈하는 자는 내가 그로 약탈을 당하게 하리라
30:16 Therefore all they that devour you shall be devoured; and all yours adversaries, every one of them, shall go into captivity; and they that spoil you shall be a spoil, and all that prey upon you will I give for a prey.
30:17 나 여호와가 말하노라 그들이 쫓겨난 자라 하며 찾는 자가 없는 시온이라 한즉 내가 너를 치료하여 네 상처를 낫게 하리라
30:17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says the LORD; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeks after.
30:18 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 포로된 야곱의 장막들을 돌이키고 그 거하는 곳들을 긍휼히 여길 것이라 그 성읍은 자기 산에 중건 될 것이요 그 궁궐은 본래대로 거하는 곳이 될 것이며
30:18 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will bring again the captivity of Jacob's tents, and have mercy on his dwelling places; and the city shall be built upon her own heap, and the palace shall remain after the manner thereof.
30:19 감사하는 소리와 즐거워하는 자의 목소리가 그 중에서 나오리라 내가 그들을 번성케 하리니 쇠잔치 아니하겠고 내가 그들을 영화롭게 하리니 비천하지 아니하겠으며
30:19 And out of them shall proceed thanksgiving and the voice of them that make merry: and I will multiply them, and they shall not be few; I will also glorify them, and they shall not be small.
30:20 그 자손은 여전하겠고 그 회중은 내 앞에 굳게 설 것이며 무릇 그를 압박하는 자는 내가 다 벌하리라
30:20 Their children also shall be as in old times, and their congregation shall be established before me, and I will punish all that oppress them.
30:21 그 왕은 그 본족에게서 날 것이요 그 통치자는 그들 중에서 나올 것이며 내가 그를 가까이 오게 하므로 그가 내게 접근하리라 그렇지 않고 담대히 내게 접근할 자가 누구뇨 여호와의 말이니라
30:21 And their nobles shall be of themselves, and their governor shall proceed from the midst of them; and I will cause him to draw near, and he shall approach unto me: for who is this that engaged his heart to approach unto me? says the LORD.
30:22 너희는 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 너희 하나님이 되리라
30:22 And all of you shall be my people, and I will be your God.
30:23 ○ 보라 여호와의 노가 발하여 폭풍과 회리바람처럼 악인의 머리를 칠 것이라
30:23 Behold, the whirlwind of the LORD goes forth with fury, a continuing whirlwind: it shall fall with pain upon the head of the wicked.
30:24 나 여호와의 진노는 내 마음의 뜻한 바를 행하여 이루기까지는 쉬지 아니하나니 너희가 말일에 그것을 깨달으리라
30:24 The fierce anger of the LORD shall not return, until he has done it, and until he have performed the intents of his heart: in the latter days all of you shall consider it.
31:1 나 여호와가 말하노라 그 때에 내가 이스라엘 모든 가족의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 되리라
31:1 At the same time, says the LORD, will I be the God of all the families of Israel, and they shall be my people.
31:2 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 칼에서 벗어난 백성이 광야에서 은혜를 얻었나니 곧 내가 이스라엘로 안식을 얻게 하러 갈 때에라
31:2 Thus says the LORD, The people which were left of the sword found grace in the wilderness; even Israel, when I went to cause him to rest.
31:3 나 여호와가 옛적에 이스라엘에게 나타나 이르기를 내가 무궁한 사랑으로 너를 사랑하는 고로 인자함으로 너를 인도하였다 하였노라
31:3 The LORD has appeared of old unto me, saying, Yea, I have loved you with an everlasting love: therefore with loving kindness have I drawn you.
31:4 처녀 이스라엘아 내가 다시 너를 세우리니 네가 세움을 입을 것이요 네가 다시 소고로 너를 장식하고 즐거운 무리처럼 춤추며 나올 것이며
31:4 Again I will build you, and you shall be built, O virgin of Israel: you shall again be adorned with your timbrels, and shall go forth in the dances of them that make merry.
31:5 네가 다시 사마리아 산들에 포도원을 심되 심는 자가 심고 그 과실을 먹으리라
31:5 You shall yet plant vines upon the mountains of Samaria: the planters shall plant, and shall eat them as common things.
31:6 에브라임 산 위에서 파숫군이 외치는 날이 이를 것이라 이르기를 너희는 일어나라 우리가 시온에 올라가서 우리 하나님 여호와께로 나아가자 하리라
31:6 For there shall be a day, that the watchmen upon the mount Ephraim shall cry, Arise all of you, and let us go up to Zion unto the LORD our God.
31:7 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 야곱을 위하여 기뻐 노래하며 만국의 머리 된 자를 위하여 외쳐 전파하며 찬양하며 이르기를 여호와여 주의 백성 이스라엘의 남은 자를 구원하소서 하라
31:7 For thus says the LORD; Sing with gladness for Jacob, and shout among the chief of the nations: publish all of you, praise all of you, and say, O LORD, save your people, the remnant of Israel.
31:8 보라 내가 그들을 북편 땅에서 인도하며 땅 끝에서부터 모으리니 그들 중에는 소경과 절뚝발이와 잉태한 여인과 해산하는 여인이 함께 하여 큰 무리를 이루어 이곳으로 돌아오되
31:8 Behold, I will bring them from the north country, and gather them from the coasts of the earth, and with them the blind and the lame, the woman with child and her that labors with child together: a great company shall return thither.
31:9 울며 올 것이며 그들이 나의 인도함을 입고 간구할 때에 내가 그들로 넘어지지 아니하고 하숫가의 바른 길로 행하게 하리라 나는 이스라엘의 아비요 에브라임은 나의 장자니라
31:9 They shall come with weeping, and with supplications will I lead them: I will cause them to walk by the rivers of waters in a straight way, wherein they shall not stumble: for I am a father to Israel, and Ephraim is my firstborn.
31:10 ○ 열방이여 너희는 나 여호와의 말을 듣고 먼 섬에 전파하여 이르기를 이스라엘을 흩으신 자가 그를 모으시고 목자가 그 양 무리에게 행함 같이 그를 지키시리로다
31:10 Hear the word of the LORD, O all of you nations, and declare it in the isles far off, and say, He that scattered Israel will gather him, and keep him, as a shepherd does his flock.
31:11 여호와께서 야곱을 속량하시되 그들보다 강한 자의 손에서 구속하셨으니
31:11 For the LORD has redeemed Jacob, and ransomed him from the hand of him that was stronger than he.
31:12 그들이 와서 시온의 높은 곳에서 찬송하며 여호와의 은사 곧 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름과 어린 양의 떼와 소의 떼에 모일 것이라 그 심령은 물댄 동산 같겠고 다시는 근심이 없으리로다 할지어다
31:12 Therefore they shall come and sing in the height of Zion, and shall flow together to the goodness of the LORD, for wheat, and for wine, and for oil, and for the young of the flock and of the herd: and their soul shall be as a watered garden; and they shall not sorrow any more at all.
31:13 그 때에 처녀는 춤추며 즐거워하겠고 청년과 노인이 함께 즐거워하리니 내가 그들의 슬픔을 돌이켜 즐겁게 하며 그들을 위로하여 근심한 후에 기쁨을 얻게 할 것임이니라
31:13 Then shall the virgin rejoice in the dance, both young men and old together: for I will turn their mourning into joy, and will comfort them, and make them rejoice from their sorrow.
31:14 내가 기름으로 제사장들의 심령에 흡족케 하며 내 은혜로 내 백성에게 만족케 하리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:14 And I will satiate the soul of the priests with fatness, and my people shall be satisfied with my goodness, says the LORD.
31:15 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 라마에서 슬퍼하며 통곡하는 소리가 들리니 라헬이 그 자식을 위하여 애곡하는 것이라 그가 자식이 없으므로 위로 받기를 거절하는도다
31:15 Thus says the LORD; A voice was heard in Ramah, lamentation, and bitter weeping; Rahel weeping for her children refused to be comforted for her children, because they were not.
31:16 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 네 소리를 금하여 울지 말며 네 눈을 금하여 눈물을 흘리지 말라 네 일에 갚음을 받을 것인즉 그들이 그 대적의 땅에서 돌아오리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:16 Thus says the LORD; Refrain your voice from weeping, and yours eyes from tears: for your work shall be rewarded, says the LORD; and they shall come again from the land of the enemy.
31:17 나 여호와가 말하노라 너의 최후에 소망이 있을 것이라 너의 자녀가 자기들의 경내로 돌아오리라
31:17 And there is hope in yours end, says the LORD, that your children shall come again to their own border.
31:18 에브라임이 스스로 탄식함을 내가 정녕히 들었노니 이르기를 주께서 나를 징벌하시매 멍에에 익숙지 못한 송아지 같은 내가 징벌을 받았나이다 주는 나의 하나님 여호와시니 나를 이끌어 돌이키소서 그리하시면 내가 돌아오겠나이다
31:18 I have surely heard Ephraim bemoaning himself thus; You have chastised me, and I was chastised, as a bullock is not accustomed to the yoke: turn you me, and I shall be turned; for you are the LORD my God.
31:19 내가 돌이킴을 받은 후에 뉘우쳤고 내가 교훈을 받은 후에 내 볼기를 쳤사오니 이는 어렸을 때의 치욕을 진 고로 부끄럽고 욕됨이니이다 하도다
31:19 Surely after that I was turned, I repented; and after that I was instructed, I stroke upon my thigh: I was ashamed, yea, even confounded, because I did bear the reproach of my youth.
31:20 에브라임은 나의 사랑하는 아들 기뻐하는 자식이 아니냐 내가 그를 책망하여 말할 때마다 깊이 생각하노라 그러므로 그를 위하여 내 마음이 측은한즉 내가 반드시 그를 긍휼히 여기리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:20 Is Ephraim my dear son? is he a pleasant child? for since I spoke against him, I do earnestly remember him still: therefore my bowels are troubled for him; I will surely have mercy upon him, says the LORD.
31:21 ○ 처녀 이스라엘아 너를 위하여 길 표를 세우며 너를 위하여 표목을 만들고 대로 곧 네가 전에 가던 길에 착념하라 돌아오라 네 성읍들로 돌아오라
31:21 Set you up guideposts, make you high heaps: set yours heart toward the highway, even the way which you went: return, O virgin of Israel, return to these your cities.
31:22 패역한 딸아 네가 어느 때까지 방황하겠느냐 여호와가 새 일을 세상에 창조하였나니 곧 여자가 남자를 안으리라
31:22 How long will you go about, O you backsliding daughter? for the LORD has created a new thing in the earth, A woman shall compass a man.
31:23 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 내가 그 사로잡힌 자를 돌아오게 할 때에 그들이 유다 땅과 그 성읍들에서 다시 이 말을 쓰리니 곧 의로운 처소여, 거룩한 산이여, 여호와께서 네게 복 주시기를 원하노라 할 것이며
31:23 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As yet they shall use this speech in the land of Judah and in the cities thereof, when I shall bring again their captivity; The LORD bless you, O habitation of justice, and mountain of holiness.
31:24 유다와 그 모든 성읍의 농부와 양 떼를 인도하는 자가 거기 함께 거하리니
31:24 And there shall dwell in Judah itself, and in all the cities thereof together, husbandmen, and they that go forth with flocks.
31:25 이는 내가 그 피곤한 심령을 만족케 하며 무릇 슬픈 심령을 상쾌케 하였음이니라 하시기로
31:25 For I have satiated the weary soul, and I have replenished every sorrowful soul.
31:26 내가 깨어 보니 내 잠이 달았더라
31:26 Upon this I awaked, and beheld; and my sleep was sweet unto me.
31:27 ○ 여호와께서 가라사대 보라 내가 사람의 씨와 짐승의 씨를 이스라엘 집과 유다 집에 뿌릴 날이 이르리니
31:27 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will sow the house of Israel and the house of Judah with the seed of man, and with the seed of beast.
31:28 내가 경성하여 그들을 뽑으며 훼파하며 전복하며 멸하며 곤란케 하던 것 같이 경성하여 그들을 세우며 심으리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:28 And it shall come to pass, that like I have watched over them, to pluck up, and to break down, and to throw down, and to destroy, and to afflict; so will I watch over them, to build, and to plant, says the LORD.
31:29 그 때에 그들이 다시는 이르기를 아비가 신 포도를 먹었으므로 아들들의 이가 시다 하지 아니하겠고
31:29 In those days they shall say no more, The fathers have eaten a sour grape, and the children's teeth are set on edge.
31:30 신 포도를 먹는 자마다 그 이가 심 같이 각기 자기 죄악으로만 죽으리라
31:30 But every one shall die for his own iniquity: every man that eats the sour grape, his teeth shall be set on edge.
31:31 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 날이 이르리니 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다 집에 새 언약을 세우리라
31:31 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
31:32 나 여호와가 말하노라 이 언약은 내가 그들의 열조의 손을 잡고 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내던 날에 세운 것과 같지 아니할 것은 내가 그들의 남편이 되었어도 그들이 내 언약을 파하였음이니라
31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt; which my covenant they brake, although I was an husband unto them, says the LORD:
31:33 나 여호와가 말하노라 그러나 그 날 후에 내가 이스라엘 집에 세울 언약은 이러하니 곧 내가 나의 법을 그들의 속에 두며 그 마음에 기록하여 나는 그들의 하나님이 되고 그들은 내 백성이 될 것이라
31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, says the LORD, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God, and they shall be my people.
31:34 그들이 다시는 각기 이웃과 형제를 가리켜 이르기를 너는 여호와를 알라 하지 아니하리니 이는 작은 자로부터 큰 자까지 다 나를 앎이니라 내가 그들의 죄악을 사하고 다시는 그 죄를 기억지 아니하리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, says the LORD: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
31:35 ○ 나 여호와는 해를 낮의 빛으로 주었고 달과 별들을 밤의 빛으로 규정하였고 바다를 격동시켜 그 파도로 소리 치게 하나니 내 이름은 만군의 여호와니라 내가 말하노라
31:35 Thus says the LORD, which gives the sun for a light by day, and the ordinances of the moon and of the stars for a light by night, which divides the sea when the waves thereof roar; The LORD of hosts is his name:
31:36 이 규정이 내 앞에서 폐할진대 이스라엘 자손도 내 앞에서 폐함을 입어 영영히 나라가 되지 못하리라
31:36 If those ordinances depart from before me, says the LORD, then the seed of Israel also shall cease from being a nation before me for ever.
31:37 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 위로 하늘을 측량할 수 있으며 아래로 땅의 기초를 탐지할 수 있다면 내가 이스라엘 자손의 행한 모든 일을 인하여 그들을 다 버리리라 여호와의 말이니라
31:37 Thus says the LORD; If heaven above can be measured, and the foundations of the earth searched out beneath, I will also cast off all the seed of Israel for all that they have done, says the LORD.
31:38 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라, 날이 이르리니 이 성을 하나넬 망대에서부터 모퉁이 문까지 여호와를 위하여 건축할 것이라
31:38 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that the city shall be built to the LORD from the tower of Hananeel unto the gate of the corner.
31:39 측량줄이 곧게 가렙 산에 이르고 고아 방면으로 돌아
31:39 And the measuring line shall yet go forth opposite to it upon the hill Gareb, and shall compass about to Goath.
31:40 시체와 재의 골짜기와 기드론 시내에 이르는 데까지와 동편 말문 모퉁이에 이르기까지의 모든 밭에 이르리니 다 여호와의 성지가 되고 영영히 다시는 뽑히거나 전복되지 아니하리라
31:40 And the whole valley of the dead bodies, and of the ashes, and all the fields unto the brook of Kidron, unto the corner of the horse gate toward the east, shall be holy unto the LORD; it shall not be plucked up, nor thrown down any more for ever.
32:1 유다 왕 시드기야의 제 십 년 곧 느부갓네살의 제 십 팔 년에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
32:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD in the tenth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, which was the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar.
32:2 때에 바벨론 군대는 예루살렘을 에워싸고 선지자 예레미야는 유다 왕의 궁중에 있는 시위대 뜰에 갇혔으니
32:2 For then the king of Babylon's army besieged Jerusalem: and Jeremiah the prophet was shut up in the court of the prison, which was in the king of Judah's house.
32:3-5 이는 그가 예언하기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 이 성을 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이리니 그가 취할 것이며 유다 왕 시드기야는 갈대아인의 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 반드시 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이운 바 되리니 입이 입을 대하여 말하고 눈이 서로 볼 것이며 그가 시드기야를 바벨론으로 끌어가리니 시드기야가 나의 권고할 때까지 거기 있으리라 나 여호와가 말하노라 너희가 갈대아인과 싸울지라도 승리치 못하리라 하셨다 하였더니 유다 왕 시드기야가 가로되 네가 어찌 이같이 예언하였느뇨 하고 그를 가두었음이었더라
32:3 For Zedekiah king of Judah had shut him up, saying, Wherefore do you prophesy, and say, Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall take it; 32:4 And Zedekiah king of Judah shall not escape out of the hand of the Chaldeans, but shall surely be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon, and shall speak with him mouth to mouth, and his eyes shall behold his eyes; 32:5 And he shall lead Zedekiah to Babylon, and there shall he be until I visit him, says the LORD: though all of you fight with the Chaldeans, all of you shall not prosper.
32:6 ○ 예레미야가 가로되 여호와의 말씀이 내게 임하였느니라 이르시기를
32:6 And Jeremiah said, The word of the LORD came unto me, saying,
32:7 보라 네 숙부 살룸의 아들 하나멜이 네게 와서 말하기를 너는 아나돗에 있는 내 밭을 사라 이 기업을 무를 권리가 네게 있느니라 하리라 하시더니
32:7 Behold, Hanameel the son of Shallum yours uncle shall come unto you saying, Buy you my field that is in Anathoth: for the right of redemption is yours to buy it.
32:8 여호와의 말씀 같이 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜이 시위대 뜰 안 내게로 와서 이르되 청하노니 너는 베냐민 땅 아나돗에 있는 나의 밭을 사라 기업의 상속권이 네게 있고 무를 권리가 네게 있으니 너를 위하여 사라 하는지라 내가 이것이 여호와의 말씀인 줄 알았으므로
32:8 So Hanameel mine uncle's son came to me in the court of the prison according to the word of the LORD, and said unto me, Buy my field, I pray you, that is in Anathoth, which is in the country of Benjamin: for the right of inheritance is yours, and the redemption is yours; buy it for yourself. Then I knew that this was the word of the LORD.
32:9 내 숙부의 아들 하나멜의 아나돗에 있는 밭을 사는데 은 십칠 세겔을 달아 주되
32:9 And I bought the field of Hanameel my uncle's son, that was in Anathoth, and weighed him the money, even seventeen shekels of silver.
32:10 증서를 써서 인봉하고 증인을 세우고 은을 저울에 달아 주고
32:10 And I subscribed the evidence, and sealed it, and took witnesses, and weighed him the money in the balances.
32:11 법과 규례대로 인봉하고 인봉치 아니한 매매 증서를 내가 취하여
32:11 So I took the evidence of the purchase, both that which was sealed according to the law and custom, and that which was open:
32:12 나의 숙부의 아들 하나멜과 매매 증서에 인친 증인의 앞과 시위대 뜰에 앉은 유다 모든 사람 앞에서 그 매매 증서를 마세야의 손자 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부치며
32:12 And I gave the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, in the sight of Hanameel mine uncle's son, and in the presence of the witnesses that subscribed the book of the purchase, before all the Jews that sat in the court of the prison.
32:13 그들의 앞에서 바룩에게 명하여 이르되
32:13 And I charged Baruch before them, saying,
32:14 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시기를 너는 이 증서 곧 인봉하고 인봉치 않은 매매 증서를 취하여 토기에 담아 많은 날 동안 보존케 하라
32:14 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Take these evidences, this evidence of the purchase, both which is sealed, and this evidence which is open; and put them in an earthen vessel, that they may continue many days.
32:15 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님 내가 이같이 말하노라 사람이 이 땅에서 집과 밭과 포도원을 다시 사게 되리라 하셨다 하니라
32:15 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Houses and fields and vineyards shall be possessed again in this land.
32:16 ○ 내가 매매 증서를 네리야의 아들 바룩에게 부친 후에 여호와께 기도하여 가로되
32:16 Now when I had delivered the evidence of the purchase unto Baruch the son of Neriah, I prayed unto the LORD, saying,
32:17 슬프도소이다 주 여호와여 주께서 큰 능과 드신 팔로 천지를 지으셨사오니 주에게는 능치 못한 일이 없으시니이다
32:17 Ah Lord GOD! behold, you have made the heaven and the earth by your great power and stretched out arm, and there is nothing too hard for you:
32:18 주는 은혜를 천만인에게 베푸시며 아비의 죄악을 그 후 자손의 품에 갚으시오니 크고 능하신 하나님이시요 이름은 만군의 여호와시니이다
32:18 You show loving kindness unto thousands, and recompence the iniquity of the fathers into the bosom of their children after them: the Great, the Mighty God, the LORD of hosts, is his name,
32:19 주는 모략에 크시며 행사에 능하시며 인류의 모든 길에 주목하시며 그 길과 그 행위의 열매대로 보응하시나이다
32:19 Great in counsel, and mighty in work: for yours eyes are open upon all the ways of the sons of men: to give every one according to his ways, and according to the fruit of his doings:
32:20 주께서 애굽 땅에서 징조와 기사로 행하셨고 오늘까지도 이스라엘과 외인 중에 그 같이 행하사 주의 이름을 오늘과 같이 되게 하셨나이다
32:20 Which have set signs and wonders in the land of Egypt, even unto this day, and in Israel, and among other men; and have made you a name, as at this day;
32:21 주께서 징조와 기사와 강한 손과 드신 팔과 큰 두려움으로 주의 백성 이스라엘을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내시고
32:21 And have brought forth your people Israel out of the land of Egypt with signs, and with wonders, and with a strong hand, and with a stretched out arm, and with great terror;
32:22 그들에게 주시기로 그 열조에게 맹세하신 바 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 이 땅을 그들에게 주셨으므로
32:22 And have given them this land, which you did swear to their fathers to give them, a land flowing with milk and honey;
32:23 그들이 들어가서 이를 차지하였거늘 주의 목소리를 청종치 아니하며 주의 도에 행치 아니하며 무릇 주께서 행하라 명하신 일을 행치 아니하였으므로 주께서 이 모든 재앙을 그들에게 내리셨나이다
32:23 And they came in, and possessed it; but they obeyed not your voice, neither walked in your law; they have done nothing of all that you commandedst them to do: therefore you have caused all this evil to come upon them:
32:24 보옵소서 이 성을 취하려 하는 자가 와서 흉벽을 쌓았고 칼과 기근과 염병으로 인하여 이 성이 이를 치는 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었으니 주의 말씀대로 되었음을 주께서 보시나이다
32:24 Behold the mounts, they are come unto the city to take it; and the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans, that fight against it, because of the sword, and of the famine, and of the pestilence: and what you have spoken has come to pass; and, behold, you see it.
32:25 주 여호와여 주께서 내게 은으로 밭을 사며 증인을 세우라 하셨으나 이 성은 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었나이다
32:25 And you have said unto me, O Lord GOD, Buy you the field for money, and take witnesses; for the city is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
32:26 ○ 때에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 이르시되
32:26 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
32:27 나는 여호와요 모든 육체의 하나님이라 내게 능치 못한 일이 있겠느냐
32:27 Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh: is there any thing too hard for me?
32:28 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 이 성을 갈대아인의 손과 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살의 손에 붙일 것인즉 그가 취할 것이라
32:28 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the Chaldeans, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and he shall take it:
32:29 이 성을 치는 갈대아인이 와서 이 성읍에 불을 놓아 성과 집 곧 그 지붕에서 바알에게 분향하며 다른 신들에게 전제를 드려 나를 격노케 한 집들을 사르리니
32:29 And the Chaldeans, that fight against this city, shall come and set fire on this city, and burn it with the houses, upon whose roofs they have offered incense unto Baal, and poured out drink offerings unto other gods, to provoke me to anger.
32:30 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 예로부터 내 목전에 악만 행하였음이라 이스라엘 자손은 그 손으로 만든 것을 가지고 나를 격노케 한 것 뿐이니라 나 여호와가 말하노라
32:30 For the children of Israel and the children of Judah have only done evil before me from their youth: for the children of Israel have only provoked me to anger with the work of their hands, says the LORD.
32:31 이 성이 건설된 날부터 오늘까지 나의 노와 분을 격발하므로 내가 내 앞에서 그것을 옮기려 하노니
32:31 For this city has been to me as a provocation of mine anger and of my fury from the day that they built it even unto this day; that I should remove it from before my face,
32:32 이는 이스라엘 자손과 유다 자손이 모든 악을 행하며 내 노를 격동하였음이라 그들과 그들의 왕들과 그 방백들과 그 제사장들과 그 선지자들과 유다 사람들과 예루살렘 거민들이 다 그러하였느니라
32:32 Because of all the evil of the children of Israel and of the children of Judah, which they have done to provoke me to anger, they, their kings, their princes, their priests, and their prophets, and the men of Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
32:33 그들이 등을 내게로 향하고 얼굴을 내게로 향치 아니하며 내가 그들을 가르치되 부지런히 가르칠지라도 그들이 교훈을 듣지 아니하며 받지 아니하고
32:33 And they have turned unto me the back, and not the face: though I taught them, rising up early and teaching them, yet they have not hearkened to receive instruction.
32:34 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에 자기들의 가증한 물건들을 세워서 그 집을 더럽게 하며
32:34 But they set their abominations in the house, which is called by my name, to defile it.
32:35 힌놈의 아들의 골짜기에 바알의 산당을 건축하였으며 자기들의 자녀를 몰렉의 불에 지나가게 하였느니라 그들이 이런 가증한 일을 행하여 유다로 범죄케 한 것은 나의 명한 것도 아니요 내 마음에 둔 것도 아니니라
32:35 And they built the high places of Baal, which are in the valley of the son of Hinnom, to cause their sons and their daughters to pass through the fire unto Molech; which I commanded them not, neither came it into my mind, that they should do this abomination, to cause Judah to sin.
32:36 ○ 그러나 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 너희의 말하는 바 칼과 기근과 염병으로 인하여 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙인 바 되었다 하는 이 성에 대하여 이같이 말하노라
32:36 And now therefore thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning this city, whereof all of you say, It shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence;
32:37 보라 내가 노와 분과 큰 분노로 그들을 쫓아 보내었던 모든 지방에서 그들을 모아내어 이곳으로 다시 인도하여 안전히 거하게 할 것이라
32:37 Behold, I will gather them out of all countries, where I have driven them in mine anger, and in my fury, and in great wrath; and I will bring them again unto this place, and I will cause them to dwell safely:
32:38 그들은 내 백성이 되겠고 나는 그들의 하나님이 될 것이며
32:38 And they shall be my people, and I will be their God:
32:39 내가 그들에게 한 마음과 한 도를 주어 자기들과 자기 후손의 복을 위하여 항상 나를 경외하게 하고
32:39 And I will give them one heart, and one way, that they may fear me for ever, for the good of them, and of their children after them:
32:40 내가 그들에게 복을 주기 위하여 그들을 떠나지 아니하리라 하는 영영한 언약을 그들에게 세우고 나를 경외함을 그들의 마음에 두어 나를 떠나지 않게 하고
32:40 And I will make an everlasting covenant with them, that I will not turn away from them, to do them good; but I will put my fear in their hearts, that they shall not depart from me.
32:41 내가 기쁨으로 그들에게 복을 주되 정녕히 나의 마음과 정신을 다하여 그들을 이 땅에 심으리라
32:41 Yea, I will rejoice over them to do them good, and I will plant them in this land assuredly with my whole heart and with my whole soul.
32:42 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 이 백성에게 이 큰 재앙을 내린 것 같이 허락한 모든 복을 그들에게 내리리라
32:42 For thus says the LORD; Like I have brought all this great evil upon this people, so will I bring upon them all the good that I have promised them.
32:43 너희가 말하기를 황폐하여 사람이나 짐승이 없으며 갈대아인의 손에 붙인 바 되었다 하는 이 땅에서 사람들이 밭을 사되
32:43 And fields shall be bought in this land, whereof all of you say, It is desolate without man or beast; it is given into the hand of the Chaldeans.
32:44 베냐민 땅과 예루살렘 사방과 유다 성읍들과 산지의 성읍들과 평지의 성읍들과 남방의 성읍들에 있는 밭을 은으로 사고 증서를 기록하여 인봉하고 증인을 세우리니 이는 내가 그들의 포로로 돌아오게 함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
32:44 Men shall buy fields for money, and subscribe evidences, and seal them, and take witnesses in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, and in the cities of the mountains, and in the cities of the valley, and in the cities of the south: for I will cause their captivity to return, says the LORD.
33:1 예레미야가 아직 시위대 뜰에 갇혔을 때에 여호와의 말씀이 그에게 다시 임하니라 가라사대
33:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah the second time, while he was yet shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
33:2 일을 행하는 여호와, 그것을 지어 성취하는 여호와, 그 이름을 여호와라 하는 자가 이같이 이르노라
33:2 Thus says the LORD the maker thereof, the LORD that formed it, to establish it; the LORD is his name;
33:3 너는 내게 부르짖으라 내가 네게 응답하겠고 네가 알지 못하는 크고 비밀한 일을 네게 보이리라
33:3 Call unto me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you know not.
33:4 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와가 말하노라 무리가 이 성읍의 가옥과 유다 왕궁을 헐어서 갈대아인의 흉벽과 칼을 막아
33:4 For thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, concerning the houses of this city, and concerning the houses of the kings of Judah, which are thrown down by the mounts, and by the sword;
33:5 싸우려 하였으나 내가 나의 노와 분함으로 그들을 죽이고 그 시체로 이 성에 채우게 하였나니 이는 그들의 모든 악을 인하여 나의 얼굴을 가리워 이 성을 돌아보지 아니하였음이니라
33:5 They come to fight with the Chaldeans, but it is to fill them with the dead bodies of men, whom I have slain in mine anger and in my fury, and for all whose wickedness I have hid my face from this city.
33:6 그러나 보라 내가 이 성을 치료하며 고쳐 낫게 하고 평강과 성실함에 풍성함을 그들에게 나타낼 것이며
33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
33:7 내가 유다의 포로와 이스라엘의 포로를 돌아오게 하여 그들을 처음과 같이 세울 것이며
33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
33:8 내가 그들을 내게 범한 그 모든 죄악에서 정하게 하며 그들의 내게 범하여 행한 모든 죄악을 사할 것이라
33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against me.
33:9 이 성읍이 세계 열방 앞에서 내게 기쁜 이름이 될 것이며 찬송과 영광이 될 것이요 그들은 나의 이 백성에게 베푼 모든 복을 들을 것이요 나의 이 성읍에 베푼 모든 복과 모든 평강을 인하여 두려워하며 떨리라
33:9 And it shall be to me a name of joy, a praise and an honour before all the nations of the earth, which shall hear all the good that I do unto them: and they shall fear and tremble for all the goodness and for all the prosperity that I procure unto it.
33:10-11 ○ 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 가리켜 말하기를 황폐하여 사람도 없고 짐승도 없다 하던 여기 곧 황폐하여 사람도 없고 주민도 없고 짐승도 없던 유다 성읍들과 예루살렘 거리에서 즐거워하는 소리, 기뻐하는 소리, 신랑의 소리, 신부의 소리와 및 만군의 여호와께 감사하라, 여호와는 선하시니 그 인자하심이 영원하다 하는 소리와 여호와의 집에 감사제를 드리는 자들의 소리가 다시 들리리니 이는 내가 이 땅의 포로로 돌아와서 처음과 같이 되게 할 것임이니라 여호와의 말이니라
33:10 Thus says the LORD; Again there shall be heard in this place, which all of you say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
33:11 The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the LORD of hosts: for the LORD is good; for his mercy endures for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the LORD. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, says the LORD.
33:12 ○ 나 만군의 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 황폐하여 사람도 없고 짐승도 없던 이곳과 그 모든 성읍에 다시 목자의 거할 곳이 있으리니 그 양 무리를 눕게 할 것이라
33:12 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Again in this place, which is desolate without man and without beast, and in all the cities thereof, shall be an habitation of shepherds causing their flocks to lie down.
33:13 산지 성읍들과 평지 성읍들과 남방의 성읍들과 베냐민 땅과 예루살렘 사면과 유다 성읍들에서 양 무리가 다시 계수하는 자의 손 아래로 지나리라 여호와의 말이니라
33:13 In the cities of the mountains, in the cities of the vale, and in the cities of the south, and in the land of Benjamin, and in the places about Jerusalem, and in the cities of Judah, shall the flocks pass again under the hands of him that tells them, says the LORD.
33:14 ○ 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 이스라엘 집과 유다 집에 대하여 이른 선한 말을 성취할 날이 이르리라
33:14 Behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will perform that good thing which I have promised unto the house of Israel and to the house of Judah.
33:15 그 날 그 때에 내가 다윗에게 한 의로운 가지가 나게 하리니 그가 이 땅에 공평과 정의를 실행할 것이라
33:15 In those days, and at that time, will I cause the Branch of righteousness to grow up unto David; and he shall execute judgment and righteousness in the land.
33:16 그 날에 유다가 구원을 얻겠고 예루살렘이 안전히 거할 것이며 그 성은 여호와 우리의 의라 일컬음을 입으리라
33:16 In those days shall Judah be saved, and Jerusalem shall dwell safely: and this is the name wherewith she shall be called, The LORD our righteousness.
33:17 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 이스라엘 집 위에 앉을 사람이 다윗에게 영영히 끊어지지 아니할 것이며
33:17 For thus says the LORD; David shall never lack a man to sit upon the throne of the house of Israel;
33:18 내 앞에서 번제를 드리며 소제를 사르며 다른 제를 항상 드릴 레위 사람 제사장들도 끊어지지 아니하리라 하시니라
33:18 Neither shall the priests the Levites lack a man before me to offer burnt offerings, and to kindle food offerings, and to do sacrifice continually.
33:19 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
33:19 And the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, saying,
33:20 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 능히 낮에 대한 나의 약정과 밤에 대한 나의 약정을 파하여 주야로 그 때를 잃게 할 수 있을진대
33:20 Thus says the LORD; If all of you can break my covenant of the day, and my covenant of the night, and that there should not be day and night in their season;
33:21 내 종 다윗에게 세운 나의 언약도 파하여 그로 그 위에 앉아 다스릴 아들이 없게 할 수 있겠으며 내가 나를 섬기는 레위인 제사장에게 세운 언약도 파할 수 있으리라
33:21 Then may also my covenant be broken with David my servant, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne; and with the Levites the priests, my ministers.
33:22 하늘의 만상은 셀 수 없으며 바다의 모래는 측량할 수 없나니 내가 그와 같이 내 종 다윗의 자손과 나를 섬기는 레위인을 번성케 하리라 하시니라
33:22 As the host of heaven cannot be numbered, neither the sand of the sea measured: so will I multiply the seed of David my servant, and the Levites that minister unto me.
33:23 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
33:23 Moreover the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, saying,
33:24 이 백성이 말하기를 여호와께서 그 택하신 두 족속을 버리셨다 한 것을 네가 생각지 아니하느냐 그들이 내 백성을 멸시하여 자기들 앞에서 나라로 인정치 아니하도다
33:24 Consider you not what this people have spoken, saying, The two families which the LORD has chosen, he has even cast them off? thus they have despised my people, that they should be no more a nation before them.
33:25 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 나의 주야의 약정이 서지 아니할 수 있다든지 천지의 규례가 정한 대로 되지 아니할 수 있다 할진대
33:25 Thus says the LORD; If my covenant be not with day and night, and if I have not appointed the ordinances of heaven and earth;
33:26 내가 야곱과 내 종 다윗의 자손을 버려서 다시는 다윗의 자손 중에서 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱의 자손을 다스릴 자를 택하지 아니하리라 내가 그 포로된 자로 돌아오게 하고 그를 긍휼이 여기리라
33:26 Then will I cast away the seed of Jacob and David my servant, so that I will not take any of his seed to be rulers over the seed of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob: for I will cause their captivity to return, and have mercy on them.
34:1 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살과 그 모든 군대와 그 통치하에 있는 땅의 모든 나라와 모든 백성이 예루살렘과 그 모든 성읍을 칠 때에 말씀이 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
34:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, when Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and all his army, and all the kingdoms of the earth of his dominion, and all the people, fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities thereof, saying,
34:2 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너는 가서 유다 왕 시드기야에게 고하여 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 보라 내가 이 성을 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙이리니 그가 이 성을 불사를 것이라
34:2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Go and speak to Zedekiah king of Judah, and tell him, Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give this city into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall burn it with fire:
34:3 네가 그 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 반드시 사로잡혀 그 손에 붙임을 입고 네 눈은 바벨론 왕의 눈을 볼 것이며 그 입은 네 입을 마주 대하여 말할 것이요 너는 바벨론으로 가리라
34:3 And you shall not escape out of his hand, but shall surely be taken, and delivered into his hand; and yours eyes shall behold the eyes of the king of Babylon, and he shall speak with you mouth to mouth, and you shall go to Babylon.
34:4 그러나 유다 왕 시드기야여 나 여호와의 말을 들으라 나 여호와가 네게 대하여 이같이 말하노라 네가 칼에 죽지 아니하고
34:4 Yet hear the word of the LORD, O Zedekiah king of Judah; Thus says the LORD of you, You shall not die by the sword:
34:5 평안히 죽을 것이며 사람이 너보다 먼저 있은 네 열조 선왕에게 분향하던 일례로 네게 분향하며 너를 위하여 애통하기를 슬프다 주여 하리니 이는 내가 말하였음이니라 여호와의 말이니라
34:5 But you shall die in peace: and with the burnings of your fathers, the former kings which were before you, so shall they burn odours for you; and they will lament you, saying, Ah lord! for I have pronounced the word, says the LORD.
34:6 ○ 선지자 예레미야가 이 모든 말씀을 예루살렘에서 유다 왕 시드기야에게 고하니라
34:6 Then Jeremiah the prophet spoke all these words unto Zedekiah king of Judah in Jerusalem,
34:7 때에 바벨론 왕의 군대가 예루살렘과 유다의 남은 모든 성을 쳤으니 곧 라기스와 아세가라 유다의 견고한 성읍 중에 이것들만 남았음이더라
34:7 When the king of Babylon's army fought against Jerusalem, and against all the cities of Judah that were left, against Lachish, and against Azekah: for these defenced cities remained of the cities of Judah.
34:8 ○ 시드기야 왕이 예루살렘에 있는 모든 백성과 언약하고 자유를 선언한 후에 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라
34:8 This is the word that came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, after that the king Zedekiah had made a covenant with all the people which were at Jerusalem, to proclaim liberty unto them;
34:9 그 언약은 곧 사람으로 각기 히브리 남녀 노비를 놓아 자유케 하고 그 동족 유다인으로 종을 삼지 못하게 한 것이라
34:9 That every man should let his manservant, and every man his maidservant, being an Hebrew or an Hebrewess, go free; that none should serve himself of them, to know, of a Jew his brother.
34:10 이 언약에 참가한 방백들과 모든 백성이 각기 노비를 자유케 하고 다시는 종을 삼지 말라 함을 듣고 순복하여 놓았더니
34:10 Now when all the princes, and all the people, which had entered into the covenant, heard that every one should let his manservant, and every one his maidservant, go free, that none should make use of them any more, then they obeyed, and let them go.
34:11 후에 그들의 뜻이 변하여 자유케 하였던 노비를 끌어다가 다시 복종시켜 노비를 삼았더라
34:11 But afterward they turned, and caused the servants and the handmaids, whom they had let go free, to return, and brought them into subjection for servants and for handmaids.
34:12 ○ 그러므로 여호와의 말씀이 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
34:12 Therefore the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
34:13 이스라엘 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 내가 너희 선조를 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낼 때에 그들과 언약을 세워 이르기를
34:13 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; I made a covenant with your fathers in the day that I brought them forth out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondmen, saying,
34:14 너희 형제 히브리 사람이 네게 팔렸거든 칠 년 만에 너희는 각기 놓으라 그가 육 년을 너를 섬겼은즉 그를 놓아 자유케 할지니라 하였으나 너희 선조가 나를 듣지 아니하며 귀를 기울이지도 아니하였느니라
34:14 At the end of seven years let all of you go every man his brother an Hebrew, which has been sold unto you; and when he has served you six years, you shall let him go free from you: but your fathers hearkened not unto me, neither inclined their ear.
34:15 그러나 너희는 이제 돌이켜 내 목전에 정당히 행하여 각기 이웃에게 자유를 선언하되 내 이름으로 일컬음을 받는 집에서 내 앞에서 언약을 세웠거늘
34:15 And all of you were now turned, and had done right in my sight, in proclaiming liberty every man to his neighbour; and all of you had made a covenant before me in the house which is called by my name:
34:16 너희가 뜻을 변하여 내 이름을 더럽히고 각기 놓아 그들의 마음대로 자유케 하였던 노비를 끌어다가 다시 너희에게 복종시켜서 너희 노비를 삼았도다
34:16 But all of you turned and polluted my name, and caused every man his servant, and every man his handmaid, whom he had set at liberty at their pleasure, to return, and brought them into subjection, to be unto you for servants and for handmaids.
34:17 ○ 그러므로 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희가 나를 듣지 아니하고 각기 형제와 이웃에게 자유를 선언한 것을 실행치 아니하였은즉 내가 너희에게 자유를 선언하여 너희를 칼과 염병과 기근에 붙이리라 나 여호와의 말이니라 내가 너희를 세계 열방 중에 흩어지게 할 것이며
34:17 Therefore thus says the LORD; All of you have not hearkened unto me, in proclaiming liberty, every one to his brother, and every man to his neighbour: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you, says the LORD, to the sword, to the pestilence, and to the famine; and I will make you to be removed into all the kingdoms of the earth.
34:18 송아지를 둘에 쪼개고 그 두 사이로 지나서 내 앞에 언약을 세우고 그 말을 실행치 아니하여 내 언약을 범한 너희를
34:18 And I will give the men that have transgressed my covenant, which have not performed the words of the covenant which they had made before me, when they cut the calf in two, and passed between the parts thereof,
34:19 곧 쪼갠 송아지 사이로 지난 유다 방백들과 예루살렘 방백들과 환관들과 제사장들과 이 땅 모든 백성을
34:19 The princes of Judah, and the princes of Jerusalem, the eunuchs, and the priests, and all the people of the land, which passed between the parts of the calf;
34:20 내가 너희 원수의 손과 너희 생명을 찾는 자의 손에 붙이리니 너희 시체가 공중의 새들과 땅 짐승의 식물이 될 것이며
34:20 I will even give them into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life: and their dead bodies shall be for food unto the fowls of the heaven, and to the beasts of the earth.
34:21 또 내가 유다 왕 시드기야와 그 방백들을 그 원수의 손과 그 생명을 찾는 자의 손과 너희에게서 떠나간 바벨론 왕의 군대의 손에 붙이리라
34:21 And Zedekiah king of Judah and his princes will I give into the hand of their enemies, and into the hand of them that seek their life, and into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which are gone up from you.
34:22 나 여호와가 말하노라 보라 내가 그들에게 명하여 이 성에 다시 오게 하리니 그들이 이 성을 쳐서 취하여 불사를 것이라 내가 유다 성읍들로 황무하여 거민이 없게 하리라
34:22 Behold, I will command, says the LORD, and cause them to return to this city; and they shall fight against it, and take it, and burn it with fire: and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation without an inhabitant.
35:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 때에 여호와께로서 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
35:1 The word which came unto Jeremiah from the LORD in the days of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
35:2 너는 레갑 족속에게 가서 그들에게 말하고 그들을 여호와의 집 한 방으로 데려다가 포도주를 마시우라
35:2 Go unto the house of the Rechabites, and speak unto them, and bring them into the house of the LORD, into one of the chambers, and give them wine to drink.
35:3 이에 내가 하바시냐의 손자요 예레미야의 아들인 야아사냐와 그 형제와 그 모든 아들과 레갑 온 족속을 데리고
35:3 Then I took Jaazaniah the son of Jeremiah, the son of Habaziniah, and his brethren, and all his sons, and the whole house of the Rechabites;
35:4 여호와의 집에 이르러 익다랴의 아들 하나님의 사람 하난의 아들들의 방에 들였는데 그 방은 방백들의 방 곁이요 문을 지키는 살룸의 아들 마아세야의 방 위더라
35:4 And I brought them into the house of the LORD, into the chamber of the sons of Hanan, the son of Igdaliah, a man of God, which was by the chamber of the princes, which was above the chamber of Maaseiah the son of Shallum, the keeper of the door:
35:5 내가 레갑 족속 사람들 앞에 포도주가 가득한 사발과 잔을 놓고 마시라 권하매
35:5 And I set before the sons of the house of the Rechabites pots full of wine, and cups, and I said unto them, Drink all of you wine.
35:6 그들이 가로되 우리는 포도주를 마시지 아니하겠노라 레갑의 아들 우리 선조 요나답이 우리에게 명하여 이르기를 너희와 너희 자손은 영영히 포도주를 마시지 말며
35:6 But they said, We will drink no wine: for Jonadab the son of Rechab our father commanded us, saying, All of you shall drink no wine, neither all of you, nor your sons for ever:
35:7 집도 짓지 말며 파종도 하지 말며 포도원도 재배치 말며 두지도 말고 너희 평생에 장막에 거처하라 그리하면 너희의 우거하는 땅에서 너희 생명이 길리라 하였으므로
35:7 Neither shall all of you build house, nor sow seed, nor plant vineyard, nor have any: but all your days all of you shall dwell in tents; that all of you may live many days in the land where all of you be strangers.
35:8 우리가 레갑의 아들 우리 선조 요나답의 우리에게 명한 모든 말을 순종하여 우리와 우리 아내와 자녀가 평생에 포도주를 마시지 아니하며
35:8 Thus have we obeyed the voice of Jonadab the son of Rechab our father in all that he has charged us, to drink no wine all our days, we, our wives, our sons, nor our daughters;
35:9 거처할 집도 짓지 아니하며 포도원이나 밭이나 종자도 두지 아니하고
35:9 Nor to build houses for us to dwell in: neither have we vineyard, nor field, nor seed:
35:10 장막에 거처하여 우리 선조 요나답의 우리에게 명한 대로 다 준행하였노라
35:10 But we have dwelt in tents, and have obeyed, and done according to all that Jonadab our father commanded us.
35:11 그러나 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 이 땅에 올라왔을 때에 우리가 말하기를 갈대아인의 군대와 수리아인의 군대가 두려운즉 예루살렘으로 가자 하고 우리가 예루살렘에 거하였노라
35:11 But it came to pass, when Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came up into the land, that we said, Come, and let us go to Jerusalem for fear of the army of the Chaldeans, and for fear of the army of the Syrians: so we dwell at Jerusalem.
35:12 ○ 때에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하여 가라사대
35:12 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah, saying,
35:13 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 너는 가서 유다 사람들과 예루살렘 거민에게 이르기를 여호와의 말씀에 너희가 내 말을 들으며 교훈을 받지 아니하겠느냐
35:13 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Go and tell the men of Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, Will all of you not receive instruction to hearken to my words? says the LORD.
35:14 레갑의 아들 요나답이 그 자손에게 포도주를 마시지 말라 한 그 명령은 실행되도다 그들은 그 선조의 명령을 순종하여 오늘까지 마시지 아니하거늘 내가 너희에게 말하고 부지런히 말하여도 너희는 나를 듣지 아니하도다
35:14 The words of Jonadab the son of Rechab, that he commanded his sons not to drink wine, are performed; for unto this day they drink none, but obey their father's commandment: notwithstanding I have spoken unto you, rising early and speaking; but all of you hearkened not unto me.
35:15 나도 내 종 모든 선지자를 너희에게 보내고 부지런히 보내며 이르기를 너희는 이제 각기 악한 길에서 돌이켜 행위를 고치고 다른 신을 좇아 그를 섬기지 말라 그리하면 너희가 나의 너희와 너희 선조에게 준 이 땅에 거하리라 하여도 너희가 귀를 기울이지 아니하며 나를 듣지 아니하였느니라
35:15 I have sent also unto you all my servants the prophets, rising up early and sending them, saying, Return all of you now every man from his evil way, and amend your doings, and go not after other gods to serve them, and all of you shall dwell in the land which I have given to you and to your fathers: but all of you have not inclined your ear, nor hearkened unto me.
35:16 레갑의 아들 요나답의 자손은 그 선조가 그들에게 명한 그 명령을 준행하나 이 백성은 나를 듣지 아니하도다
35:16 Because the sons of Jonadab the son of Rechab have performed the commandment of their father, which he commanded them; but this people has not hearkened unto me:
35:17 그러므로 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 보라 내가 유다와 예루살렘 모든 거민에게 나의 그들에게 대하여 선포한 모든 재앙을 내리리니 이는 내가 그들에게 말하여도 듣지 아니하며 불러도 대답지 아니함이니라 하셨다 하라
35:17 Therefore thus says the LORD God of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring upon Judah and upon all the inhabitants of Jerusalem all the evil that I have pronounced against them: because I have spoken unto them, but they have not heard; and I have called unto them, but they have not answered.
35:18 ○ 예레미야가 레갑 족속에게 이르되 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말씀하시기를 너희가 너희 선조 요나답의 명령을 준종하여 그 모든 훈계를 지키며 그가 너희에게 명한 것을 행하였도다
35:18 And Jeremiah said unto the house of the Rechabites, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Because all of you have obeyed the commandment of Jonadab your father, and kept all his precepts, and done according unto all that he has commanded you:
35:19 그러므로 나 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님이 이같이 말하노라 레갑의 아들 요나답에게서 내 앞에 설 사람이 영영히 끊어지지 아니하리라
35:19 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Jonadab the son of Rechab shall not lack a man to stand before me for ever.
36:1 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김 사 년에 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 말씀이 임하니라 가라사대
36:1 And it came to pass in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, that this word came unto Jeremiah from the LORD, saying,
36:2 너는 두루마리 책을 취하여 내가 네게 말하던 날 곧 요시야의 날부터 오늘까지 이스라엘과 유다와 열방에 대하여 나의 네게 이른 모든 말을 그것에 기록하라
36:2 Take you a roll of a book, and write therein all the words that I have spoken unto you against Israel, and against Judah, and against all the nations, from the day I spoke unto you, from the days of Josiah, even unto this day.
36:3 유다 족속이 내가 그들에게 내리려 한 모든 재앙을 듣고 각기 악한 길에서 돌이킬듯 하니라 그리하면 내가 그 악과 죄를 사하리라
36:3 It may be that the house of Judah will hear all the evil which I purpose to do unto them; that they may return every man from his evil way; that I may forgive their iniquity and their sin.
36:4 ○ 이에 예레미야가 네리야의 아들 바룩을 부르매 바룩이 예레미야의 구전대로 여호와께서 그에게 이르신 모든 말씀을 두루마리 책에 기록하니라
36:4 Then Jeremiah called Baruch the son of Neriah: and Baruch wrote from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the LORD, which he had spoken unto him, upon a roll of a book.
36:5 예레미야가 바룩을 명하여 가로되 나는 감금을 당한지라 여호와의 집에 들어갈 수 없은즉
36:5 And Jeremiah commanded Baruch, saying, I am shut up; I cannot go into the house of the LORD:
36:6 너는 들어가서 나의 구전대로 두루마리에 기록한 여호와의 말씀을 금식일에 여호와의 집에 있는 백성의 귀에 낭독하고 유다 모든 성에서 온 자들의 귀에도 낭독하라
36:6 Therefore go you, and read in the roll, which you have written from my mouth, the words of the LORD in the ears of the people in the LORD's house upon the fasting day: and also you shall read them in the ears of all Judah that come out of their cities.
36:7 그들이 여호와 앞에 기도를 드리며 각기 악한 길을 떠날듯 하니라 여호와께서 이 백성에 대하여 선포하신 노와 분이 크니라
36:7 It may be they will present their supplication before the LORD, and will return every one from his evil way: for great is the anger and the fury that the LORD has pronounced against this people.
36:8 네리야의 아들 바룩이 무릇 선지자 예레미야의 자기에게 명한 대로 하여 여호와의 집에서 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 낭독하니라
36:8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading in the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's house.
36:9 ○ 유다 왕 요시야의 아들 여호야김의 오 년 구 월에 예루살렘 모든 백성과 유다 성읍들에서 예루살렘에 이른 모든 백성이 여호와 앞에서 금식을 선포한지라
36:9 And it came to pass in the fifth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, in the ninth month, that they proclaimed a fast before the LORD to all the people in Jerusalem, and to all the people that came from the cities of Judah unto Jerusalem.
36:10 바룩이 여호와의 집 윗뜰 곧 여호와의 집 새 문 어귀의 곁에 있는 사반의 아들 서기관 그마랴의 방에서 그 책에 있는 예레미야의 말을 낭독하여 모든 백성에게 들리니라
36:10 Then read Baruch in the book the words of Jeremiah in the house of the LORD, in the chamber of Gemariah the son of Shaphan the scribe, in the higher court, at the entry of the new gate of the LORD's house, in the ears of all the people.
36:11 ○ 사반의 손자요 그마랴의 아들인 미가야가 그 책에 있는 여호와의 말씀을 다 듣고
36:11 When Michaiah the son of Gemariah, the son of Shaphan, had heard out of the book all the words of the LORD,
36:12 왕궁에 내려가서 서기관의 방에 들어가니 모든 방백 곧 서기관 엘리사마와 스마야의 아들 들라야와 악볼의 아들 엘라단과 사반의 아들 그마랴와 하나냐의 아들 시드기야와 모든 방백이 거기 앉았는지라
36:12 Then he went down into the king's house, into the scribe's chamber: and, lo, all the princes sat there, even Elishama the scribe, and Delaiah the son of Shemaiah, and Elnathan the son of Achbor, and Gemariah the son of Shaphan, and Zedekiah the son of Hananiah, and all the princes.
36:13 미가야가 바룩의 백성의 귀에 책을 낭독할 때에 들은 모든 말로 그들에게 고하매
36:13 Then Michaiah declared unto them all the words that he had heard, when Baruch read the book in the ears of the people.
36:14 이에 모든 방백이 구시의 증손 셀레먀의 손자 느다냐의 아들 여후디를 바룩에게 보내어 이르되 너는 백성의 귀에 낭독한 두루마리를 손에 가지고 오라 네리야의 아들 바룩이 두루마리를 손에 가지고 그들에게로 가매
36:14 Therefore all the princes sent Jehudi the son of Nethaniah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Cushi, unto Baruch, saying, Take in yours hand the roll wherein you have read in the ears of the people, and come. So Baruch the son of Neriah took the roll in his hand, and came unto them.
36:15 그들이 바룩에게 이르되 앉아서 이를 우리 귀에 낭독하라 바룩이 그들의 귀에 낭독하매
36:15 And they said unto him, Sit down now, and read it in our ears. So Baruch read it in their ears.
36:16 그들이 그 모든 말씀을 듣고 놀라 서로 보며 바룩에게 이르되 우리가 이 모든 말을 왕에게 고하리라
36:16 Now it came to pass, when they had heard all the words, they were afraid both one and the other, and said unto Baruch, We will surely tell the king of all these words.
36:17 그들이 또 바룩에게 물어 가로되 네가 그 구전하는 이 모든 말을 어떻게 기록하였느뇨 청컨대 우리에게 이르라
36:17 And they asked Baruch, saying, Tell us now, How did you write all these words at his mouth?
36:18 바룩이 대답하되 그가 그 입으로 이 모든 말을 내게 베풀기로 내가 먹으로 책에 기록하였노라
36:18 Then Baruch answered them, He pronounced all these words unto me with his mouth, and I wrote them with ink in the book.
36:19 이에 방백들이 바룩에게 이르되 너는 가서 예레미야와 함께 숨고 너희 있는 곳을 사람에게 알리지 말라 하니라
36:19 Then said the princes unto Baruch, Go, hide you, you and Jeremiah; and let no man know where all of you be.
36:20 ○ 그들이 두루마리를 서기관 엘리사마의 방에 두고 뜰에 들어가 왕께 나아가서 이 모든 말로 왕의 귀에 고하니
36:20 And they went in to the king into the court, but they laid up the roll in the chamber of Elishama the scribe, and told all the words in the ears of the king.
36:21 왕이 여후디를 보내어 두루마리를 가져오게 하매 여후디가 서기관 엘리사마의 방에서 가져다가 왕과 왕의 곁에 선 모든 방백의 귀에 낭독하니
36:21 So the king sent Jehudi to fetch the roll: and he took it out of Elishama the scribe's chamber. And Jehudi read it in the ears of the king, and in the ears of all the princes which stood beside the king.
36:22 때는 구 월이라 왕이 겨울 궁전에 앉았고 그 앞에는 불 피운 화로가 있더라
36:22 Now the king sat in the winter-house in the ninth month: and there was a fire on the hearth burning before him.
36:23 여후디가 삼 편, 사 편을 낭독하면 왕이 소도로 그것을 연하여 베어 화로 불에 던져서 온 두루마리를 태웠더라
36:23 And it came to pass, that when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, he cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was on the hearth, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was on the hearth.
36:24 왕과 그 신하들이 이 모든 말을 듣고도 두려워하거나 그 옷을 찢지 아니하였고
36:24 Yet they were not afraid, nor rent their garments, neither the king, nor any of his servants that heard all these words.
36:25 엘라단과 들라야와 그마랴가 왕께 두루마리를 사르지 말기를 간구하여도 왕이 듣지 아니하였으며
36:25 Nevertheless Elnathan and Delaiah and Gemariah had made intercession to the king that he would not burn the roll: but he would not hear them.
36:26 왕이 왕의 아들 여라므엘과 아스리엘의 아들 스라야와 압디엘의 아들 셀레먀를 명하여 서기관 바룩과 선지자 예레미야를 잡으라 하였으나 여호와께서 그들을 숨기셨더라
36:26 But the king commanded Jerahmeel the son of Hammelech, and Seraiah the son of Azriel, and Shelemiah the son of Abdeel, to take Baruch the scribe and Jeremiah the prophet: but the LORD hid them.
36:27 ○ 왕이 두루마리와 바룩이 예레미야의 구전으로 기록한 말씀을 불사른 후에 여호와의 말씀이 예레미야에게 임하니라 가라사대
36:27 Then the word of the LORD came to Jeremiah, after that the king had burned the roll, and the words which Baruch wrote at the mouth of Jeremiah, saying,
36:28 너는 다시 다른 두루마리를 가지고 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 첫 두루마리의 모든 말을 기록하고
36:28 Take you again another roll, and write in it all the former words that were in the first roll, which Jehoiakim the king of Judah has burned.
36:29 또 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하기를 여호와의 말씀에 그가 이 두루마리를 불사르며 말하기를 네가 어찌하여 바벨론 왕이 정녕히 와서 이 땅을 멸하고 사람과 짐승을 이 땅에서 없어지게 하리라 하는 말을 이 두루마리에 기록하였느뇨 하도다
36:29 And you shall say to Jehoiakim king of Judah, Thus says the LORD; You have burned this roll, saying, Why have you written therein, saying, The king of Babylon shall certainly come and destroy this land, and shall cause to cease from thence man and beast?
36:30 그러므로 나 여호와가 유다 왕 여호야김에 대하여 이같이 말하노라 그에게 다윗의 위에 앉을 자가 없게 될 것이요 그 시체는 버림을 입어서 낮에는 더위, 밤에는 추위를 당하리라
36:30 Therefore thus says the LORD of Jehoiakim king of Judah; He shall have none to sit upon the throne of David: and his dead body shall be cast out in the day to the heat, and in the night to the frost.
36:31 또 내가 그와 그 자손과 신하들을 그들의 죄악을 인하여 벌할 것이라 내가 일찍 그들과 예루살렘 거민과 유다 사람에게 선포하였으나 그들이 듣지 아니한 그 모든 재앙을 내리리라 하셨다 하라
36:31 And I will punish him and his seed and his servants for their iniquity; and I will bring upon them, and upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and upon the men of Judah, all the evil that I have pronounced against them; but they hearkened not.
36:32 이에 예레미야가 다른 두루마리를 취하여 네리야의 아들 서기관 바룩에게 주매 그가 유다 왕 여호야김의 불사른 책의 모든 말을 예레미야의 구전대로 기록하고 그 외에도 그 같은 말을 많이 더 하였더라
36:32 Then took Jeremiah another roll, and gave it to Baruch the scribe, the son of Neriah; who wrote therein from the mouth of Jeremiah all the words of the book which Jehoiakim king of Judah had burned in the fire: and there were added besides unto them many like words.
37:1 요시야의 아들 시드기야가 여호야김의 아들 고니야를 대신하여 왕이 되었으니 이는 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 그로 유다 땅의 왕을 삼음이었더라
37:1 And king Zedekiah the son of Josiah reigned instead of Coniah the son of Jehoiakim, whom Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon made king in the land of Judah.
37:2 그와 그 신하와 그 땅 백성이 여호와께서 선지자 예레미야로 하신 말씀을 듣지 아니하니라
37:2 But neither he, nor his servants, nor the people of the land, did hearken unto the words of the LORD, which he spoke by the prophet Jeremiah.
37:3 ○ 시드기야 왕이 셀레먀의 아들 여후갈과 마아세야의 아들 제사장 스바냐를 선지자 예레미야에게 보내어 청하되 너는 우리를 위하여 우리 하나님 여호와께 기도하라 하였으니
37:3 And Zedekiah the king sent Jehucal the son of Shelemiah and Zephaniah the son of Maaseiah the priest to the prophet Jeremiah, saying, Pray now unto the LORD our God for us.
37:4 때에 예레미야가 갇히지 아니하였으므로 백성 가운데 출입하는 중이었더라
37:4 Now Jeremiah came in and went out among the people: for they had not put him into prison.
37:5 바로의 군대가 애굽에서 나오매 예루살렘을 에워쌌던 갈대아인이 그 소문을 듣고 예루살렘에서 떠났더라
37:5 Then Pharaoh's army was come forth out of Egypt: and when the Chaldeans that besieged Jerusalem heard tidings of them, they departed from Jerusalem.
37:6 ○ 여호와의 말씀이 선지자 예레미야에게 임하여 가라사대
37:6 Then came the word of the LORD unto the prophet Jeremiah saying,
37:7 이스라엘의 하나님 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희를 보내어 내게 구하게 한 유다 왕에게 이르라 너희를 도우려고 나왔던 바로의 군대는 자기 땅 애굽으로 돌아가겠고
37:7 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel; Thus shall all of you say to the king of Judah, that sent you unto me to enquire of me; Behold, Pharaoh's army, which has come forth to help you, shall return to Egypt into their own land.
37:8 갈대아인이 다시 와서 이 성을 쳐서 취하여 불사르리라
37:8 And the Chaldeans shall come again, and fight against this city, and take it, and burn it with fire.
37:9 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 너희는 스스로 속여 말하기를 갈대아인이 반드시 우리를 떠나리라 하지 말라 그들이 떠나지 아니하리라
37:9 Thus says the LORD; Deceive not yourselves, saying, The Chaldeans shall surely depart from us: for they shall not depart.
37:10 가령 너희가 너희를 치는 갈대아인의 온 군대를 쳐서 그 중에 부상자만 남긴다 할지라도 그들이 각기 장막에서 일어나 이 성을 불사르리라
37:10 For though all of you had smitten the whole army of the Chaldeans that fight against you, and there remained but wounded men among them, yet should they rise up every man in his tent, and burn this city with fire.
37:11 갈대아인의 군대가 바로의 군대를 두려워하여 예루살렘에서 떠나매
37:11 And it came to pass, that when the army of the Chaldeans was broken up from Jerusalem for fear of Pharaoh's army,
37:12 예레미야가 베냐민 땅에서 백성 중 분깃을 받으려고 예루살렘을 떠나 그리로 가려 하여
37:12 Then Jeremiah went forth out of Jerusalem to go into the land of Benjamin, to separate himself thence in the midst of the people.
37:13 베냐민 문에 이른즉 하나냐의 손자요 셀레먀의 아들인 이리야라 이름하는 문지기의 두목이 선지자 예레미야를 붙잡아 가로되 네가 갈대아인에게 항복하려 하는도다
37:13 And when he was in the gate of Benjamin, a captain of the ward was there, whose name was Irijah, the son of Shelemiah, the son of Hananiah; and he took Jeremiah the prophet, saying, You fall away to the Chaldeans.
37:14 예레미야가 가로되 망령되다 나는 갈대아인에게 항복하려 하지 아니하노라 이리야가 듣지 아니하고 예레미야를 잡아 방백들에게로 끌어가매
37:14 Then said Jeremiah, It is false; I fall not away to the Chaldeans. But he hearkened not to him: so Irijah took Jeremiah, and brought him to the princes.
37:15 방백들이 노하여 예레미야를 때려서 서기관 요나단의 집에 가두었으니 이는 그들이 이 집으로 옥을 삼았음이더라
37:15 Wherefore the princes were angry with Jeremiah, and stroke him, and put him in prison in the house of Jonathan the scribe: for they had made that the prison.
37:16 예레미야가 토굴 옥 음실에 들어간 지 여러 날 만에
37:16 When Jeremiah was entered into the dungeon, and into the cabins, and Jeremiah had remained there many days;
37:17 시드기야 왕이 보내어 그를 이끌어내고 왕궁에서 그에게 비밀히 물어 가로되 여호와께로서 받은 말씀이 있느뇨 예레미야가 대답하되 있나이다 또 가로되 왕이 바벨론 왕의 손에 붙임을 입으리이다
37:17 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took him out: and the king asked him secretly in his house, and said, Is there any word from the LORD? And Jeremiah said, There is: for, said he, you shall be delivered into the hand of the king of Babylon.
37:18 예레미야가 다시 시드기야 왕에게 이르되 내가 왕에게나 왕의 신하에게나 이 백성에게 무슨 죄를 범하였관대 나를 옥에 가두었나이까
37:18 Moreover Jeremiah said unto king Zedekiah, What have I offended against you, or against your servants, or against this people, that all of you have put me in prison?
37:19 바벨론 왕이 와서 왕과 이 땅을 치지 아니하리라고 예언한 왕의 선지자들이 이제 어디 있나이까
37:19 Where are now your prophets which prophesied unto you, saying, The king of Babylon shall not come against you, nor against this land?
37:20 내 주 왕이여 이제 청컨대 나를 들으시며 나의 탄원을 받으사 나를 서기관 요나단의 집으로 돌려보내지 마옵소서 내가 거기서 죽을까 두려워하나이다
37:20 Therefore hear now, I pray you, O my lord the king: let my supplication, I pray you, be accepted before you; that you cause me not to return to the house of Jonathan the scribe, lest I die there.
37:21 이에 시드기야 왕이 명하여 예레미야를 시위대 뜰에 두고 떡 만드는 자의 거리에서 매일 떡 한 덩이씩 그에게 주게 하매 성중에 떡이 다할 때까지 이르니라 예레미야가 시위대 뜰에 머무늬라
37:21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers' street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
38:1 맛단의 아들 스바댜와 바스훌의 아들 그다랴와 셀레먀의 아들 유갈과 말기야의 아들 바스훌이 예레미야의 모든 백성에게 이르는 말을 들은즉 이르기를
38:1 Then Shephatiah the son of Mattan, and Gedaliah the son of Pashur, and Jucal the son of Shelemiah, and Pashur the son of Malchiah, heard the words that Jeremiah had spoken unto all the people, saying,
38:2 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 이 성에 머무는 자는 칼과 기근과 염병에 죽으리라 그러나 갈대아인에게 항복하는 자는 살리니 그의 생명이 노략물을 얻음 같이 살리라
38:2 Thus says the LORD, He that remains in this city shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: but he that goes forth to the Chaldeans shall live; for he shall have his life for a prey, and shall live.
38:3 나 여호와가 이같이 말하노라 이 성이 반드시 바벨론 왕의 군대의 손에 붙이우리니 그가 취하리라 하셨다 하는지라
38:3 Thus says the LORD, This city shall surely be given into the hand of the king of Babylon's army, which shall take it.
38:4 이에 그 방백들이 왕께 고하되 이 사람이 백성의 평안을 구치 아니하고 해를 구하오니 청컨대 이 사람을 죽이소서 그가 이같이 말하여 이 성에 남은 군사의 손과 모든 백성의 손을 약하게 하나이다
38:4 Therefore the princes said unto the king, We plead to you, let this man be put to death: for thus he weakens the hands of the men of war that remain in this city, and the hands of all the people, in speaking such words unto them: for this man seeks not the welfare of this people, but the hurt.
38:5 시드기야 왕이 가로되 보라 그가 너희 손에 있느니라 왕은 조금도 너희를 거스릴 수 없느니라
38:5 Then Zedekiah the king said, Behold, he is in your hand: for the king is not he that can do any thing against you.
38:6 그들이 예레미야를 취하여 시위대 뜰에 있는 왕의 아들 말기야의 구덩이에 던져 넣을 때에 예레미야를 줄로 달아 내리웠는데 그 구덩이에는 물이 없고 진흙 뿐이므로 예레미야가 진흙 중에 빠졌더라
38:6 Then took they Jeremiah, and cast him into the dungeon of Malchiah the son of Hammelech, that was in the court of the prison: and they let down Jeremiah with cords. And in the dungeon there was no water, but mire: so Jeremiah sunk in the mire.
38:7 ○ 왕궁 환관 구스인 에벳멜렉이 그들의 예레미야를 구덩이에 던져 넣었음을 들으니라 때에 왕이 베냐민 문에 앉았더니
38:7 Now when Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, one of the eunuchs which was in the king's house, heard that they had put Jeremiah in the dungeon; the king then sitting in the gate of Benjamin;
38:8 에벳멜렉이 왕궁에서 나와 왕께 고하여 가로되
38:8 Ebedmelech went forth out of the king's house, and spoke to the king saying,
38:9 내 주 왕이여 저 사람들이 선지자 예레미야에게 행한 모든 일은 악하니이다 성중에 떡이 떨어졌거늘 그들이 그를 구덩이에 던져 넣었으니 그가 거기서 주려 죽으리이다
38:9 My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die for hunger in the place where he is: for there is no more bread in the city.
38:10 왕이 구스인 에벳멜렉에게 명하여 가로되 너는 여기서 삼십 명을 데리고 가서 선지자 예레미야의 죽기 전에 그를 구덩이에서 끌어내라
38:10 Then the king commanded Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Take from behind thirty men with you, and take up Jeremiah the prophet out of the dungeon, before he die.
38:11 에벳멜렉이 사람들을 데리고 왕궁 곳간 밑 방에 들어가서 거기서 헝겊과 낡은 옷을 취하고 그것을 구덩이에 있는 예레미야에게 줄로 내리우며
38:11 So Ebedmelech took the men with him, and went into the house of the king under the treasury, and took thence old cast clouts and old rotten rags, and let them down by cords into the dungeon to Jeremiah.
38:12 구스인 에벳멜렉이 예레미야에게 이르되 너는 이 헝겊과 낡은 옷을 네 겨드랑이에 대고 줄을 그 아래 대라 예레미야가 그대로 하매
38:12 And Ebedmelech the Ethiopian said unto Jeremiah, Put now these old cast clouts and rotten rags under yours armholes under the cords. And Jeremiah did so.
38:13 그들이 줄로 예레미야를 구덩이에서 끌어낸지라 예레미야가 시위대 뜰에 머무늬라
38:13 So they drew up Jeremiah with cords, and took him up out of the dungeon: and Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.
38:14 ○ 시드기야 왕이 보내어 선지자 예레미야를 여호와의 집 제 삼 문으로 데려오게 하고 왕이 예레미야에게 이르되 내가 네게 한 일을 물으리니 일호도 내게 숨기지 말라
38:14 Then Zedekiah the king sent, and took Jeremiah the prophet unto him into the third entry that is in the house of the LORD: and the king said unto Jeremiah, I will ask you a thing; hide nothing from me.
38:15 예레미야가 시드기야에게 이르되 내가 이 일을 왕에게 아시게 하여도 왕이 단정코 나를 죽이지 아니하시리이까 가령 내가 왕을 권한다 할지라도 왕이 듣지 아니하시리이다
38:15 Then Jeremiah said unto Zedekiah, If I declare it unto you, will you not surely put me to death? and if I give you counsel, will you not hearken unto me?
38:16 시드기야 왕이 비밀히 예레미야에게 맹세하여 가로되 우리에게 이 영혼을 지으신 여호와께서 사시거니와 내가 너를 죽이지도 아니하겠고 네 생명을 찾는 그 사람들의 손에 붙이지도 아니하리라
38:16 So Zedekiah the king swore secretly unto Jeremiah, saying, As the LORD lives, that made us this soul, I will not put you to death, neither will I give you into the hand of these men that seek your life.
38:17 ○ 예레미야가 시드기야에게 이르되 만군의 하나님이신 이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시되 네가 만일 바벨론 왕의 방백들에게 항복하면 네 생명이 살겠고 이 성이 불사름을 입지 아니하겠고 너와 네 가족이 살려니와
38:17 Then said Jeremiah unto Zedekiah, Thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; If you will assuredly go forth unto the king of Babylon's princes, then your soul shall live, and this city shall not be burned with fire; and you shall live, and yours house:
38:18 네가 만일 나가서 바벨론 왕의 방백들에게 항복하지 아니하면 이 성이 갈대아인의 손에 붙이우리니 그들이 이 성을 불사를 것이며 너는 그들의 손을 벗어나지 못하리라 하셨나이다
38:18 But if you will not go forth to the king of Babylon's princes, then shall this city be given into the hand of the Chaldeans, and they shall burn it with fire, and you shall not escape out of their hand.
38:19 시드기야 왕이 예레미야에게 이르되 나는 갈대아인에게 항복한 유다인을 두려워하노라 염려컨대 갈대아인이 나를 그들의 손에 붙이면 그들이 나를 조롱할까 하노라
38:19 And Zedekiah the king said unto Jeremiah, I am afraid of the Jews that are fallen to the Chaldeans, lest they deliver me into their hand, and they mock me.
38:20 예레미야가 가로되 그 무리가 왕을 그들에게 붙이지 아니하리이다 원하옵나니 내가 왕에게 고한 바 여호와의 목소리를 청종하소서 그리하면 왕이 복을 받아 생명을 보존하시리이다
38:20 But Jeremiah said, They shall not deliver you. Obey, I plead to you, the voice of the LORD, which I speak unto you: so it shall be well unto you, and your soul shall live.
38:21 그러나 만일 항복하기를 거절하시면 여호와께서 내게 보이신 말씀대로 되리이다
38:21 But if you refuse to go forth, this is the word that the LORD has showed me:
38:22 곧 유다 왕궁에 남아 있는 모든 여자가 바벨론 왕의 방백들에게로 끌려갈 것이요 그들은 네게 말하기를 네 친구들이 너를 꾀어 이기고 네 발이 진흙에 빠짐을 보고 물러갔도다 하리라
38:22 And, behold, all the women that are left in the king of Judah's house shall be brought forth to the king of Babylon's princes, and those women shall say, Your friends have set you on, and have prevailed against you: your feet are sunk in the mire, and they are turned away back.
38:23 네 아내들과 자녀는 갈대아인에게로 끌어냄을 입겠고 너는 그들의 손에서 벗어나지 못하고 바벨론 왕의 손에 잡히리라 또 네가 이 성으로 불사름을 입게 하리라 하셨나이다
38:23 So they shall bring out all your wives and your children to the Chaldeans: and you shall not escape out of their hand, but shall be taken by the hand of the king of Babylon: and you shall cause this city to be burned with fire.
38:24 ○ 시드기야가 예레미야에게 이르되 너는 이 말을 사람으로 알게 하지 말라 그리하면 네가 죽지 아니하리라
38:24 Then said Zedekiah unto Jeremiah, Let no man know of these words, and you shall not die.
38:25 만일 방백들이 내가 너와 말하였다 함을 듣고 와서 네게 말하기를 네가 왕에게 말씀한 것을 우리에게 고하라 우리에게 숨기지 말라 그리하면 우리가 너를 죽이지 아니하리라 또 왕이 네게 말씀한 것을 고하라 하거든
38:25 But if the princes hear that I have talked with you, and they come unto you, and say unto you, Declare unto us now what you have said unto the king, hide it not from us, and we will not put you to death; also what the king said unto you:
38:26 그들에게 대답하되 내가 왕의 앞에 간구하기를 나를 요나단의 집으로 도로 보내지 말아서 거기서 죽지 않게 하옵소서 하였다 하라 하니라
38:26 Then you shall say unto them, I presented my supplication before the king, that he would not cause me to return to Jonathan's house, to die there.
38:27 모든 방백이 예레미야에게 와서 물으매 그가 왕의 명한 모든 말대로 대답하였으므로 일이 탄로치 아니하였고 그들은 더불어 말하기를 그쳤더라
38:27 Then came all the princes unto Jeremiah, and asked him: and he told them according to all these words that the king had commanded. So they left off speaking with him; for the matter was not perceived.
38:28 예레미야가 예루살렘이 함락되는 날까지 시위대 뜰에 머물렀더라
38:28 So Jeremiah abode in the court of the prison until the day that Jerusalem was taken: and he was there when Jerusalem was taken.
39:1 유다 왕 시드기야의 구 년 시 월에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살과 그 모든 군대가 와서 예루살렘을 에워싸고 치더니
39:1 In the ninth year of Zedekiah king of Judah, in the tenth month, came Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon and all his army against Jerusalem, and they besieged it.
39:2 시드기야의 제 십 일 년 사 월 구 일에 성이 함락되니라 예루살렘이 함락되매
39:2 And in the eleventh year of Zedekiah, in the fourth month, the ninth day of the month, the city was broken up.
39:3 바벨론 왕의 모든 방백이 이르러 중문에 앉으니 곧 네르갈사레셀과 삼갈르보와 환관장 살스김과 박사장 네르갈사레셀과 바벨론 왕의 기타 모든 방백들이었더라
39:3 And all the princes of the king of Babylon came in, and sat in the middle gate, even Nergalsharezer, Samgarnebo, Sarsechim, Rabsaris, Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, with all the residue of the princes of the king of Babylon.
39:4 ○ 유다 왕 시드기야와 모든 군사가 그들을 보고 도망하되 밤에 왕의 동산 길로 좇아 두 담 샛문을 통하여 성읍을 벗어나서 아라바로 갔더니
39:4 And it came to pass, that when Zedekiah the king of Judah saw them, and all the men of war, then they fled, and went forth out of the city by night, by the way of the king's garden, by the gate between the two walls: and he went out the way of the plain.
39:5 갈대아인의 군대가 그들을 따라 여리고 평원에서 시드기야에게 미쳐 그를 잡아서 데리고 하맛 땅 립나에 있는 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살에게로 올라가매 왕이 그를 심문하였더라
39:5 But the Chaldeans' army pursued after them, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho: and when they had taken him, they brought him up to Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath, where he gave judgment upon him.
39:6 바벨론 왕이 립나에서 시드기야의 목전에서 그 아들들을 죽였고 왕이 또 유다의 모든 귀인을 죽였으며
39:6 Then the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah in Riblah before his eyes: also the king of Babylon slew all the nobles of Judah.
39:7 왕이 또 시드기야의 눈을 빼게 하고 바벨론으로 옮기려 하여 사슬로 결박하였더라
39:7 Moreover he put out Zedekiah's eyes, and bound him with chains, to carry him to Babylon.
39:8 갈대아인들이 왕궁과 백성의 집을 불사르며 예루살렘 성벽을 헐었고
39:8 And the Chaldeans burned the king's house, and the houses of the people, with fire, and brake down the walls of Jerusalem.
39:9 시위대장 느부사라단이 성중에 남아 있는 백성과 자기에게 항복한 자와 그 외의 남은 백성을 바벨론으로 잡아 옮겼으며
39:9 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive into Babylon the remnant of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to him, with the rest of the people that remained.
39:10 시위대장 느부사라단이 아무 소유가 없는 빈민을 유다 땅에 남겨 두고 그 날에 포도원과 밭을 그들에게 주었더라
39:10 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left of the poor of the people, which had nothing, in the land of Judah, and gave them vineyards and fields at the same time.
39:11 ○ 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 예레미야에 대하여 시위대장 느부사라단에게 명하여 가로되
39:11 Now Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon gave charge concerning Jeremiah to Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard, saying,
39:12 그를 데려다가 선대하고 해하지 말며 그가 네게 말하는 대로 행하라
39:12 Take him, and look well to him, and do him no harm; but do unto him even as he shall say unto you.
39:13 이에 시위대장 느부사라단과 환관장 느부사스반과 박사장 네르갈사레셀과 바벨론 왕의 모든 장관이
39:13 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard sent, and Nebushasban, Rabsaris, and Nergalsharezer, Rabmag, and all the king of Babylon's princes;
39:14 보내어 예레미야를 시위대 뜰에서 취하여 내어 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게 붙여서 그를 집으로 데려가게 하매 그가 백성 중에 거하니라
39:14 Even they sent, and took Jeremiah out of the court of the prison, and committed him unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, that he should carry him home: so he dwelt among the people.
39:15 ○ 예레미야가 시위대 뜰에 갇혔을 때에 여호와의 말씀이 그에게 임하니라 가라사대
39:15 Now the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah, while he was shut up in the court of the prison, saying,
39:16 너는 가서 구스인 에벳멜렉에게 말하기를 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 하나님의 말씀에 내가 이 성에 재앙을 내리고 복을 내리지 아니하리라 한 나의 말이 그 날에 네 목전에 이루리라
39:16 Go and speak to Ebedmelech the Ethiopian, saying, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will bring my words upon this city for evil, and not for good; and they shall be accomplished in that day before you.
39:17 나 여호와가 말하노라 내가 그 날에 너를 구원하리니 네가 그 두려워하는 사람들의 손에 붙이우지 아니하리라
39:17 But I will deliver you in that day, says the LORD: and you shall not be given into the hand of the men of whom you are afraid.
39:18 내가 단정코 너를 구원할 것인즉 네가 칼에 죽지 아니하고 네 생명이 노략물을 얻음 같이 되리니 이는 네가 나를 신뢰함이니라 여호와의 말이니라
39:18 For I will surely deliver you, and you shall not fall by the sword, but your life shall be for a prey unto you: because you have put your trust in me, says the LORD.
40:1 시위대장 느부사라단이 예루살렘과 유다 포로를 바벨론으로 옮기는 중에 예레미야도 잡혀 사슬로 결박되어 가다가 라마에서 해방된 후에 말씀이 여호와께로서 예레미야에게 임하니라
40:1 The word that came to Jeremiah from the LORD, after that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had let him go from Ramah, when he had taken him being bound in chains among all that were carried away captive of Jerusalem and Judah, which were carried away captive unto Babylon.
40:2 시위대장이 예레미야를 불러다가 이르되 네 하나님 여호와께서 이곳에 이 재앙을 선포하시더니
40:2 And the captain of the guard took Jeremiah, and said unto him, The LORD your God has pronounced this evil upon this place.
40:3 여호와께서 그 말씀하신 대로 행하셨으니 이는 너희가 여호와께 범죄하고 그 목소리를 청종치 아니하였으므로 이 일이 너희에게 임한 것이니라
40:3 Now the LORD has brought it, and done according as he has said: because all of you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed his voice, therefore this thing has come upon you.
40:4 보라 내가 오늘 네 손의 사슬을 풀어 너를 해방하노니 만일 네가 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 선히 여기거든 오라 내가 너를 선대하리라 만일 나와 함께 바벨론으로 가는 것을 좋지 않게 여기거든 그만 두라 보라 온 땅이 네 앞에 있나니 네가 선히 여기는 대로 가하게 여기는 곳으로 갈지니라
40:4 And now, behold, I loose you this day from the chains which were upon yours hand. If it seem good unto you to come with me into Babylon, come; and I will look well unto you: but if it seem ill unto you to come with me into Babylon, forbear: behold, all the land is before you: where it seems good and convenient for you to go, thither go.
40:5 예레미야가 아직 돌이키기 전에 그가 다시 이르되 너는 바벨론 왕이 유다 성읍들의 총독으로 세우신 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 돌아가서 그와 함께 백성 중에 거하거나 너의 가하게 여기는 곳으로 가거나 할지니라 하고 그 시위대장이 그에게 양식과 선물을 주어 보내매
40:5 Now while he was not yet gone back, he said, Go back also to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, whom the king of Babylon has made governor over the cities of Judah, and dwell with him among the people: or go where ever it seems convenient unto you to go. So the captain of the guard gave him victuals and a reward, and let him go.
40:6 예레미야가 미스바로가서 아히감의 아들 그다랴에게로 나아가서 그 땅에 남아 있는 백성 중에서 그와 함께 거하니라
40:6 Then went Jeremiah unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and dwelt with him among the people that were left in the land.
40:7 ○ 들에 있는 군대 장관들과 그들의 사람들이 바벨론 왕이 아히감의 아들 그다랴를 이 땅 총독으로 세우고 남녀와 유아와 바벨론으로 옮기지 아니한 빈민을 그에게 위임하였다 함을 듣고
40:7 Now when all the captains of the forces which were in the fields, even they and their men, heard that the king of Babylon had made Gedaliah the son of Ahikam governor in the land, and had committed unto him men, and women, and children, and of the poor of the land, of them that were not carried away captive to Babylon;
40:8 그들 곧 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘과 가레아의 두 아들 요하난과 요나단과 단후멧의 아들 스라야와 느도바 사람 에배의 아들들과 마아가 사람의 아들 여사냐와 그들의 사람들이 미스바로 가서 그다랴에게 이르니
40:8 Then they came to Gedaliah to Mizpah, even Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and Johanan and Jonathan the sons of Kareah, and Seraiah the son of Tanhumeth, and the sons of Ephai the Netophathite, and Jezaniah the son of a Maachathite, they and their men.
40:9 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴가 그들과 그들의 사람들에게 맹세하며 가로되 너희는 갈대아인 섬기기를 두려워하지 말고 이 땅에 거하여 바벨론 왕을 섬기라 그리하면 너희에게 유익하리라
40:9 And Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan swore unto them and to their men, saying, Fear not to serve the Chaldeans: dwell in the land, and serve the king of Babylon, and it shall be well with you.
40:10 나는 미스바에 거하여 우리에게로 오는 갈대아인을 섬기리니 너희는 포도주와 여름 실과와 기름을 모아 그릇에 저축하고 너희의 얻은 성읍들에 거하라 하니라
40:10 As for me, behold, I will dwell at Mizpah, to serve the Chaldeans, which will come unto us: but all of you, gather all of you wine, and summer fruits, and oil, and put them in your vessels, and dwell in your cities that all of you have taken.
40:11 모압과 암몬 자손 중과 에돔과 모든 지방에 있는 유다인도 바벨론 왕이 유다에 사람을 남겨 둔 것과 사반의 손자 아히감의 아들 그다랴를 그들의 위에 세웠다 함을 듣고
40:11 Likewise when all the Jews that were in Moab, and among the Ammonites, and in Edom, and that were in all the countries, heard that the king of Babylon had left a remnant of Judah, and that he had set over them Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan;
40:12 그 모든 유다인이 쫓겨났던 각처에서 돌아와 유다 땅 미스바 그다랴에게 이르러 포도주와 여름 실과를 심히 많이 모으니라
40:12 Even all the Jews returned out of all places where they were driven, and came to the land of Judah, to Gedaliah, unto Mizpah, and gathered wine and summer fruits very much.
40:13 ○ 가레아의 아들 요하난과 들에 있던 군대 장관들이 미스바 그다랴에게 이르러
40:13 Moreover Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were in the fields, came to Gedaliah to Mizpah,
40:14 그에게 이르되 암몬 자손의 왕 바알리스가 네 생명을 취하려 하여 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘을 보낸 줄 네가 아느냐 하되 아히감의 아들 그다랴가 믿지 아니한지라
40:14 And said unto him, Do you certainly know that Baalis the king of the Ammonites has sent Ishmael the son of Nethaniah to slay you? But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam believed them not.
40:15 가레아의 아들 요하난이 미스바에서 그다랴에게 비밀히 말하여 가로되 청하노니 나로 가서 사람이 모르게 느다냐의 아들 이스마엘을 죽이게 하라 어찌하여 그로 네 생명을 취케 하여 네게 모인 모든 유다인으로 흩어지며 유다의 남은 자로 멸망을 당케 하랴
40:15 Then Johanan the son of Kareah spoke to Gedaliah in Mizpah secretly saying, Let me go, I pray you, and I will slay Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and no man shall know it: wherefore should he slay you, that all the Jews which are gathered unto you should be scattered, and the remnant in Judah perish?
40:16 그러나 아히감의 아들 그다랴가 가레아의 아들 요하난에게 이르되 네가 이 일을 행치 말 것이니라 너의 이스마엘에 대한 말은 진정이 아니니라 하니라
40:16 But Gedaliah the son of Ahikam said unto Johanan the son of Kareah, You shall not do this thing: for you speak falsely of Ishmael.
