23:1 발람이 발락에게 이르되 나를 위하여 여기 일곱 단을 쌓고 거기 수송아지 일곱과 수양 일곱을 준비하소서 하매
23:1 Balaam said to Balak, "Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bulls and seven rams."
23:2 발락이 발람의 말대로 준비한 후에 발락과 발람이 매 단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드리니라
23:2 Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bull and a ram.
23:3 발람이 발락에게 이르되 당신의 번제물 곁에 서소서 나는 저리로 갈지라 여호와께서 혹시 오셔서 나를 만나시리니 그가 내게 지시하시는 것은 다 당신에게 고하리이다 하고 사태난 산에 이른즉
23:3 Balaam said to Balak, "Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go: perhaps Yahweh will come to meet me; and whatever he shows me I will tell you." He went to a bare height.
23:4 하나님이 발람에게 임하시는지라 발람이 고하되 내가 일곱 단을 베풀고 매 단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드렸나이다
23:4 God met Balaam: and he said to him, "I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar."
23:5 여호와께서 발람의 입에 말씀을 주어 가라사대 발락에게 돌아가서 이렇게 말할지니라
23:5 Yahweh put a word in Balaam's mouth, and said, "Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak."
23:6 그가 발락에게 돌아간즉 발락과 모압 모든 귀족이 번제물 곁에 함께 섰더라
23:6 He returned to him, and behold, he was standing by his burnt offering, he, and all the princes of Moab.
23:7 발람이 노래를 지어 가로되 발락이 나를 아람에서, 모압 왕이 동편 산에서 데려다가 이르기를 와서 나를 위하여 야곱을 저주하라, 와서 이스라엘을 꾸짖으라 하도다
23:7 He took up his parable, and said, "From Aram has Balak brought me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East. Come, curse Jacob for me. Come, defy Israel.
23:8 하나님이 저주치 않으신 자를 내 어찌 저주하며 여호와께서 꾸짖지 않으신 자를 내 어찌 꾸짖을꼬
23:8 How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? How shall I defy whom Yahweh has not defied?
23:9 내가 바위 위에서 그들을 보며 작은 산에서 그들을 바라보니 이 백성은 홀로 처할 것이라 그를 열방 중의 하나로 여기지 않으리로다
23:9 For from the top of the rocks I see him. From the hills I see him. Behold, it is a people that dwells alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.
23:10 야곱의 티끌을 뉘 능히 계산하며 이스라엘 사분지 일을 뉘 능히 계수할꼬 나는 의인의 죽음 같이 죽기를 원하며 나의 종말이 그와 같기를 바라도다 하매
23:10 Who can count the dust of Jacob, or number the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous! Let my last end be like his!"
23:11 발락이 발람에게 이르되 그대가 어찌 내게 이같이 행하느냐 나의 원수를 저주하라고 그대를 데려왔거늘 그대가 온전히 축복하였도다
23:11 Balak said to Balaam, "What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them altogether."
23:12 대답하여 가로되 여호와께서 내 입에 주신 말씀을 내가 어찌 말하지 아니할 수 있으리이까
23:12 He answered and said, "Must I not take heed to speak that which Yahweh puts in my mouth?"
23:13 ○ 발락이 가로되 나와 함께 그들을 달리 볼 곳으로 가자 거기서는 그들을 다 보지 못하고 그 끝만 보리니 거기서 나를 위하여 그들을 저주하라 하고
23:13 Balak said to him, "Please come with me to another place, where you may see them; you shall see but the utmost part of them, and shall not see them all: and curse me them from there."
23:14 소빔 들로 인도하여 비스가 꼭대기에 이르러 일곱 단을 쌓고 매 단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드리니
23:14 He took him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.
23:15 발람이 발락에게 이르되 내가 저기서 여호와를 만날 동안에 여기 당신의 번제물 곁에 서소서 하니라
23:15 He said to Balak, "Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet [Yahweh] yonder."
23:16 여호와께서 발람에게 임하사 그 입에 말씀을 주어 가라사대 발락에게로 돌아가서 이렇게 말할지니라
23:16 Yahweh met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, "Return to Balak, and say this."
23:17 발람이 와서 본즉 발락이 번제물 곁에 섰고 모압 귀족들이 함께 있더라 발락이 발람에게 이르되 여호와께서 무슨 말씀을 하시더냐
23:17 He came to him, and behold, he was standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. Balak said to him, "What has Yahweh spoken?"
23:18 발람이 노래를 지어 가로되 발락이여 일어나 들을지어다 십볼의 아들이여 나를 자세히 들으라
23:18 He took up his parable, and said, "Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, you son of Zippor.
23:19 하나님은 인생이 아니시니 식언치 않으시고 인자가 아니시니 후회가 없으시도다 어찌 그 말씀하신 바를 행치 않으시며 하신 말씀을 실행치 않으시랴
23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor the son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and will he not do it? Or has he spoken, and will he not make it good?
23:20 내가 축복의 명을 받았으니 그가 하신 축복을 내가 돌이킬 수 없도다
23:20 Behold, I have received a command to bless. He has blessed, and I can't reverse it.
23:21 여호와는 야곱의 허물을 보지 아니하시며 이스라엘의 패역을 보지 아니하시는도다 여호와 그의 하나님이 그와 함께 계시니 왕을 부르는 소리가 그 중에 있도다
23:21 He has not seen iniquity in Jacob. Neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. Yahweh his God is with him. The shout of a king is among them.
23:22 하나님이 그들을 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨으니 그 힘이 들소와 같도다
23:22 God brings them out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox.
23:23 야곱을 해할 사술이 없고 이스라엘을 해할 복술이 없도다 이 때에 야곱과 이스라엘에 대하여 논할진대 하나님의 행하신 일이 어찌 그리 크뇨 하리로다
23:23 Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; Neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What has God done!
23:24 이 백성이 암사자 같이 일어나고 수사자 같이 일어나서 움킨 것을 먹으며 죽인 피를 마시기 전에는 눕지 아니하리로다 하매
23:24 Behold, the people rises up as a lioness, As a lion he lifts himself up. He shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain."
23:25 발락이 발람에게 이르되 그들을 저주하지도 말고 축복하지도 말라
23:25 Balak said to Balaam, "Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all."
23:26 발람이 발락에게 대답하여 가로되 내가 당신에게 고하여 이르기를 여호와께서 말씀하신 것은 내가 그대로 하지 않을 수 없다고 하지 아니하더이까
23:26 But Balaam answered Balak, "Didn't I tell you, saying, 'All that Yahweh speaks, that I must do?'"
23:27 ○ 발락이 발람에게 또 이르되 오라 내가 너를 다른 곳으로 인도하리니 네가 거기서 나를 위하여 그들을 저주하기를 하나님이 혹시 기뻐하시리라 하고
23:27 Balak said to Balaam, "Come now, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse me them from there."
23:28 발락이 발람을 인도하여 광야가 내려다 보이는 브올 산 꼭대기에 이르니
23:28 Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, that looks down on the desert.
23:29 발람이 발락에게 이르되 나를 위하여 여기 일곱 단을 쌓고 거기 수송아지 일곱과 수양 일곱을 준비하소서
23:29 Balaam said to Balak, "Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven bulls and seven rams."
23:30 발락이 발람의 말대로 행하여 매 단에 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나를 드리니라
23:30 Balak did as Balaam had said, and offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.
24:1 발람이 자기가 이스라엘을 축복하는 것을 여호와께서 선히 여기심을 보고 전과 같이 사술을 쓰지 아니하고 그 낯을 광야로 향하여
24:1 When Balaam saw that it pleased Yahweh to bless Israel, he didn't go, as at the other times, to meet with enchantments, but he set his face toward the wilderness.
24:2 눈을 들어 이스라엘이 그 지파대로 거하는 것을 보는 동시에 하나님의 신이 그 위에 임하신지라
24:2 Balaam lifted up his eyes, and he saw Israel dwelling according to their tribes; and the Spirit of God came on him.
24:3 그가 노래를 지어 가로되 브올의 아들 발람이 말하며 눈을 감았던 자가 말하며
24:3 He took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eye was closed says;
24:4 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 자, 전능자의 이상을 보는 자, 엎드려서 눈을 뜬 자가 말하기를
24:4 he says, who hears the words of God, who sees the vision of the Almighty, falling down, and having his eyes open:
24:5 야곱이여 네 장막이, 이스라엘이여 네 거처가 어찌 그리 아름다운고
24:5 How goodly are your tents, Jacob, and your tents, Israel!
24:6 그 벌어짐이 골짜기 같고, 강 가의 동산 같으며, 여호와의 심으신 침향목들 같고, 물가의 백향목들 같도다
24:6 As valleys they are spread forth, as gardens by the riverside, as aloes which Yahweh has planted, as cedar trees beside the waters.
24:7 그 통에서는 물이 넘치겠고 그 종자는 많은 물가에 있으리로다 그 왕이 아각보다 높으니 그 나라가 진흥하리로다
24:7 Water shall flow from his buckets. His seed shall be in many waters. His king shall be higher than Agag. His kingdom shall be exalted.
24:8 하나님이 그를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨으니 그 힘이 들소와 같도다 그 적국을 삼키고 그들의 뼈를 꺽으며 화살을 쏘아 꿰뚫으리로다
24:8 God brings him out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox. He shall eat up the nations his adversaries, shall break their bones in pieces, and pierce them with his arrows.
24:9 꿇어 앉고 누움이 수사자와 같고 암사자와도 같으니 일으킬 자 누구이랴 너를 축복하는 자마다 복을 받을 것이요 너를 저주하는 자마다 저주를 받을지로다
24:9 He couched, he lay down as a lion, as a lioness; who shall rouse him up? Everyone who blesses you is blessed. Everyone who curses you is cursed."
24:10 ○ 발락이 발람에게 노하여 손뼉을 치며 발람에게 말하되 내가 그대를 부른 것은 내 원수를 저주하라 함이어늘 그대가 이같이 세 번 그들을 축복하였도다
24:10 Balak's anger was kindled against Balaam, and he struck his hands together; and Balak said to Balaam, "I called you to curse my enemies, and, behold, you have altogether blessed them these three times.
24:11 그러므로 그대는 이제 그대의 곳으로 달려가라 내가 그대를 높여 심히 존귀케 하기로 뜻하였더니 여호와가 그대를 막아 존귀치 못하게 하셨도다
24:11 Therefore now flee you to your place! I thought to promote you to great honor; but, behold, Yahweh has kept you back from honor."
24:12 발람이 발락에게 이르되 당신이 내게 보낸 사자들에게 내가 고하여 이르지 아니하였나이까
24:12 Balaam said to Balak, "Didn't I also tell your messengers who you sent to me, saying,
24:13 가령 발락이 그 집에 은금을 가득히 채워서 내게 줄지라도 나는 여호와의 말씀을 어기고 선악간 임의로 행하지 못하고 여호와께서 말씀하신 대로 말하리라 하지 아니하였나이까
24:13 'If Balak would give me his house full of silver and gold, I can't go beyond the word of Yahweh, to do either good or bad of my own mind. I will say what Yahweh says'?
24:14 이제 나는 내 백성에게로 돌아가거니와 들으소서 내가 이 백성이 후일에 당신의 백성에게 어떻게 할 것을 당신에게 고하리이다 하고
24:14 Now, behold, I go to my people: come, [and] I will inform you what this people shall do to your people in the latter days."
24:15 노래를 지어 가로되 브올의 아들 발람이 말하며 눈을 감았던 자가 말하며
24:15 He took up his parable, and said, "Balaam the son of Beor says, the man whose eye was closed says;
24:16 하나님의 말씀을 듣는 자가 말하며 지극히 높으신 자의 지식을 아는 자, 전능자의 이상을 보는 자, 엎드려서 눈을 뜬 자가 말하기를
24:16 he says, who hears the words of God, knows the knowledge of the Most High, and who sees the vision of the Almighty, Falling down, and having his eyes open:
24:17 내가 그를 보아도 이 때의 일이 아니며 내가 그를 바라보아도 가까운 일이 아니로다 한 별이 야곱에게서 나오며 한 홀이 이스라엘에게서 일어나서 모압을 이편에서 저편까지 쳐서 파하고 또 소동하는 자식들을 다 멸하리로다
24:17 see him, but not now. I see him, but not near. A star will come out of Jacob. A scepter will rise out of Israel, and shall strike through the corners of Moab, and break down all the sons of Sheth.
24:18 그 원수 에돔은 그들의 산업이 되며 그 원수 세일도 그들의 산업이 되고 그 동시에 이스라엘은 용감히 행동하리로다
24:18 Edom shall be a possession. Seir, his enemies, also shall be a possession, while Israel does valiantly.
24:19 주권자가 야곱에게서 나서 남은 자들을 그 성읍에서 멸절하리로다 하고
24:19 Out of Jacob shall one have dominion, and shall destroy the remnant from the city."
24:20 또 아말렉을 바라보며 노래를 지어 가로되 아말렉은 열국 중 으뜸이나 종말은 멸망에 이르리로다 하고
24:20 He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, "Amalek was the first of the nations, But his latter end shall come to destruction."
24:21 또 가인 족속을 바라보며 노래를 지어 가로되 너의 거처가 견고하니 네 보금자리는 바위에 있도다
24:21 He looked at the Kenite, and took up his parable, and said, "Your dwelling place is strong. Your nest is set in the rock.
24:22 그러나 가인이 쇠미하리니 나중에는 앗수르의 포로가 되리로다 하고
24:22 Nevertheless Kain shall be wasted, until Asshur carries you away captive."
24:23 또 노래를 지어 가로되 슬프다 하나님이 이 일을 행하시리니 그때에 살 자가 누구이랴
24:23 He took up his parable, and said, "Alas, who shall live when God does this?
24:24 깃딤 해변에서 배들이 와서 앗수르를 학대하며 에벨을 괴롭게 하리라마는 그도 멸망하리로다 하고
24:24 But ships [shall come] from the coast of Kittim. They shall afflict Asshur, and shall afflict Eber. He also shall come to destruction."
24:25 발람이 일어나 자기 곳으로 돌아갔고 발락도 자기 길로 갔더라
24:25 Balaam rose up, and went and returned to his place; and Balak also went his way.
25:1 이스라엘이 싯딤에 머물러 있더니 그 백성이 모압 여자들과 음행하기를 시작하니라
25:1 Israel stayed in Shittim; and the people began to play the prostitute with the daughters of Moab:
25:2 그 여자들이 그 신들에게 제사할 때에 백성을 청하매 백성이 먹고 그들의 신들에게 절하므로
25:2 for they called the people to the sacrifices of their gods; and the people ate, and bowed down to their gods.
25:3 이스라엘이 바알브올에게 부속된지라 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 진노하시니라
25:3 Israel joined himself to Baal Peor: and the anger of Yahweh was kindled against Israel.
25:4 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성의 두령들을 잡아 태양을 향하여 여호와 앞에 목매어 달라 그리하면 여호와의 진노가 이스라엘에게서 떠나리라
25:4 Yahweh said to Moses, "Take all the chiefs of the people, and hang them up to Yahweh before the sun, that the fierce anger of Yahweh may turn away from Israel."
25:5 모세가 이스라엘 사사들에게 이르되 너희는 각기 관할하는 자 중에 바알브올에게 부속한 사람들을 죽이라 하니라
25:5 Moses said to the judges of Israel, "Everyone kill his men who have joined themselves to Baal Peor."
25:6 ○ 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 회막문에서 울 때에 이스라엘 자손 한 사람이 모세와 온 회중의 목전에 미디안의 한 여인을 데리고 그 형제에게로 온지라
25:6 Behold, one of the children of Israel came and brought to his brothers a Midianite woman in the sight of Moses, and in the sight of all the congregation of the children of Israel, while they were weeping at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
25:7 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 보고 회중의 가운데서 일어나 손에 창을 들고
25:7 When Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose up from the midst of the congregation, and took a spear in his hand;
25:8 그 이스라엘 남자를 따라 그의 막에 들어가서 이스라엘 남자와 그 여인의 배를 꿰뚫어서 두 사람을 죽이니 염병이 이스라엘 자손에게서 그쳤더라
25:8 and he went after the man of Israel into the pavilion, and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stayed from the children of Israel.
25:9 그 염병으로 죽은 자가 이만 사천 명이었더라
25:9 Those who died by the plague were twenty-four thousand.
25:10 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
25:10 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
25:11 제사장 아론의 손자 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스가 나의 질투심으로 질투하여 이스라엘 자손 중에서 나의 노를 돌이켜서 나의 질투심으로 그들을 진멸하지 않게 하였도다
25:11 Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest, has turned my wrath away from the children of Israel, in that he was jealous with my jealousy among them, so that I didn't consume the children of Israel in my jealousy.
25:12 그러므로 말하라 내가 그에게 나의 평화의 언약을 주리니
25:12 Therefore say, 'Behold, I give to him my covenant of peace:
25:13 그와 그 후손에게 영원한 제사장 직분의 언약이라 그가 그 하나님을 위하여 질투하여 이스라엘 자손을 속죄하였음이니라
25:13 and it shall be to him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God, and made atonement for the children of Israel.'"
25:14 ○ 죽임을 당한 이스라엘 남자 곧 미디안 여인과 함께 죽임을 당한 자의 이름은 시므리니 살루의 아들이요 시므온인의 종족 중 한 족장이며
25:14 Now the name of the man of Israel that was slain, who was slain with the Midianite woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a fathers' house among the Simeonites.
25:15 죽임을 당한 미디안 여인의 이름은 고스비니 수르의 딸이라 수르는 미디안 백성 한 종족의 두령이었더라
25:15 The name of the Midianite woman who was slain was Cozbi, the daughter of Zur; he was head of the people of a fathers' house in Midian.
25:16 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
25:16 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
25:17 미디안인들을 박해하며 그들을 치라
25:17 Harass the Midianites, and strike them;
25:18 이는 그들이 궤계로 너희를 박해하되 브올의 일과 미디안 족장의 딸 곧 브올의 일로 염병이 일어난 날에 죽임을 당한 그들의 자매 고스비의 사건으로 너희를 유혹하였음이니라
25:18 for they harassed you with their wiles, with which they have deceived you in the matter of Peor, and in the matter of Cozbi, the daughter of the prince of Midian, their sister, who was slain on the day of the plague in the matter of Peor."
26:1 염병 후에 여호와께서 모세와 제사장 아론의 아들 엘르아살에게 일러 가라사대
26:1 It happened after the plague, that Yahweh spoke to Moses and to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, saying,
26:2 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중의 총수를 그 조상의 집을 따라 조사하되 이스라엘 중에 무릇 이십 세 이상으로 능히 싸움에 나갈 만한 자를 계수하라 하시니
26:2 Take a census of all the congregation of the children of Israel, from twenty years old and upward, by their fathers' houses, all who are able to go forth to war in Israel."
26:3 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 그들에게 고하여 가로되
26:3 Moses and Eleazar the priest spoke with them in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
26:4 여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 나온 모세와 이스라엘 자손에게 명하신 대로 너희는 이십 세 이상된 자를 계수하라 하니라
26:4 [Take a census of the people], from twenty years old and upward; as Yahweh commanded Moses and the children of Israel." These are those that came out of the land of Egypt.
26:5 ○ 이스라엘의 장자는 르우벤이라 르우벤 자손은 하녹에게서 난 하녹 가족과 발루에게서 난 발루 가족과
26:5 Reuben, the firstborn of Israel; the sons of Reuben: [of] Hanoch, the family of the Hanochites; of Pallu, the family of the Palluites;
26:6 헤스론에게서 난 헤스론 가족과 갈미에게서 난 갈미 가족이니
26:6 of Hezron, the family of the Hezronites; of Carmi, the family of the Carmites.
26:7 이는 르우벤 가족들이라 계수함을 입은 자가 사만 삼천 칠백 삼십 명이요
26:7 These are the families of the Reubenites; and those who were numbered of them were forty-three thousand seven hundred thirty.
26:8 발루의 아들은 엘리압이요
26:8 The sons of Pallu: Eliab.
26:9 엘리압의 아들은 느무엘과 다단과 아비람이라 이 다단과 아비람은 회중 가운데서 부름을 받은 자러니 고라의 무리에 들어가서 모세와 아론을 거스려 여호와께 패역할 때에
26:9 The sons of Eliab: Nemuel, and Dathan, and Abiram. These are that Dathan and Abiram, who were called of the congregation, who strove against Moses and against Aaron in the company of Korah, when they strove against Yahweh,
26:10 땅이 그 입을 열어서 그 무리와 고라를 삼키매 그들이 죽었고 당시에 불이 이백 오십 명을 삼켜 징계가 되게 하였으나
26:10 and the earth opened its mouth, and swallowed them up together with Korah, when that company died; what time the fire devoured two hundred fifty men, and they became a sign.
26:11 그러나 고라의 아들들은 죽지 아니하였더라
26:11 Notwithstanding, the sons of Korah didn't die.
26:12 ○ 시므온 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 느무엘에게서 난 느무엘 가족과 야민에게서 난 야민 가족과 야긴에게서 난 야긴 가족과
26:12 The sons of Simeon after their families: of Nemuel, the family of the Nemuelites; of Jamin, the family of the Jaminites; of Jachin, the family of the Jachinites;
26:13 세라에게서 난 세라 가족과 사울에게서 난 사울 가족이라
26:13 of Zerah, the family of the Zerahites; of Shaul, the family of the Shaulites.
26:14 이는 시므온 종족들이니 계수함을 입은 자가 이만 이천 이백 명이었더라
26:14 These are the families of the Simeonites, twenty-two thousand two hundred.
26:15 ○ 갓 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 스본에게서 난 스본 가족과 학기에게서 난 학기 가족과 수니에게서 난 수니 가족과
26:15 The sons of Gad after their families: of Zephon, the family of the Zephonites; of Haggi, the family of the Haggites; of Shuni, the family of the Shunites;
26:16 오스니에게서 난 오스니 가족과 에리에게서 난 에리 가족과
26:16 of Ozni, the family of the Oznites; of Eri, the family of the Erites;
26:17 아롯에게서 난 아롯 가족과 아렐리에게서 난 아렐리 가족이라
26:17 of Arod, the family of the Arodites; of Areli, the family of the Arelites.
26:18 이는 갓 자손의 종족들이니 계수함을 입은 자가 사만 오백 명이었더라

26:23 ○ 잇사갈 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 돌라에게서 난 돌라 가족과 부와에게서 난 부니 가족과
26:23 The sons of Issachar after their families: [of] Tola, the family of the Tolaites; of Puvah, the family of the Punites;
26:24 야숩에게서 난 야숩 가족과 시므론에게서 난 시므론 가족이라

26:26 The sons of Zebulun after their families: of Sered, the family of the Seredites; of Elon, the family of the Elonites; of Jahleel, the family of the Jahleelites.

26:27 These are the families of the Zebulunites according to those who were numbered of them, sixty thousand five hundred.
26:28 ○ 요셉의 아들들은 그 종족대로 므낫세와 에브라임이요
26:28 The sons of Joseph after their families: Manasseh and Ephraim.
26:29 므낫세의 자손 중 마길에게서 난 것은 마길 가족이라 마길이 길르앗을 낳았고 길르앗에게서 난 것은 길르앗 가족이라
26:29 The sons of Manasseh: of Machir, the family of the Machirites; and Machir became the father of Gilead; of Gilead, the family of the Gileadites.

26:33 Zelophehad the son of Hepher had no sons, but daughters: and the names of the daughters of Zelophehad were Mahlah, and Noah, Hoglah, Milcah, and Tirzah.
26:34 이는 므낫세의 종족들이라 계수함을 입은 자가 오만 이천 칠백 명이었더라
26:34 These are the families of Manasseh; and those who were numbered of them were fifty-two thousand seven hundred.
26:35 ○ 에브라임 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 수델라에게서 난 수델라 가족과 베겔에게서 난 베겔 가족과 다한에게서 난 다한 가족이며
26:35 These are the sons of Ephraim after their families: of Shuthelah, the family of the Shuthelahites; of Becher, the family of the Becherites; of Tahan, the family of the Tahanites.

26:38 ○ 베냐민 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 벨라에게서 난 벨라 가족과 아스벨에게서 난 아스벨 가족과 아히람에게서 난 아히람 가족과
26:38 The sons of Benjamin after their families: of Bela, the family of the Belaites; of Ashbel, the family of the Ashbelites; of Ahiram, the family of the Ahiramites;

26:42 ○ 단 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니라 수함에게서 수함 가족이 났으니 이는 그들의 종족을 따른 단 가족들이라
26:42 These are the sons of Dan after their families: of Shuham, the family of the Shuhamites. These are the families of Dan after their families.
26:43 수함 모든 가족의 계수함을 입은 자가 육만 사천 사백 명이었더라
26:43 All the families of the Shuhamites, according to those who were numbered of them, were sixty-four thousand four hundred.
26:44 ○ 아셀 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 임나에게서 난 임나 가족과 이스위에게서 난 이스위 가족과 브리아에게서 난 브리아 가족이며
26:44 The sons of Asher after their families: of Imnah, the family of the Imnites; of Ishvi, the family of the Ishvites; of Beriah, the family of the Berites.
26:45 브리아의 자손 중 헤벨에게서 난 헤벨 가족과 말기엘에게서 난 말기엘 가족이며

26:48 ○ 납달리 자손은 그 종족대로 이러하니 야셀에게서 난 야셀 가족과 구니에게서 난 구니 가족과
26:48 The sons of Naphtali after their families: of Jahzeel, the family of the Jahzeelites; of Guni, the family of the Gunites;
26:49 예셀에게서 난 예셀 가족과 실렘에게서 난 실렘 가족이라
26:49 of Jezer, the family of the Jezerites; of Shillem, the family of the Shillemites.

26:50 These are the families of Naphtali according to their families; and those who were numbered of them were forty-five thousand four hundred.
26:51 ○ 이스라엘 자손의 계수함을 입은 자가 육십만 일천 칠백 삼십 명이었더라
26:51 These are those who were numbered of the children of Israel, six hundred one thousand seven hundred thirty.
26:52 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
26:52 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
26:53 이 명수대로 땅을 나눠 주어 기업을 삼게 하라
26:53 To these the land shall be divided for an inheritance according to the number of names.
26:54 수가 많은 자에게는 기업을 많이 줄 것이요 수가 적은 자에게는 기업을 적게 줄 것이니 그들의 계수함을 입은 수대로 각기 기업을 주되
26:54 To the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: to everyone according to those who were numbered of him shall his inheritance be given.
26:55 오직 그 땅을 제비 뽑아 나누어 그들의 조상 지파의 이름을 따라 얻게 할지니라
26:55 Notwithstanding, the land shall be divided by lot: according to the names of the tribes of their fathers they shall inherit.
26:56 그 다소를 물론하고 그 기업을 제비 뽑아 나눌지니라
26:56 According to the lot shall their inheritance be divided between the more and the fewer."
26:57 ○ 레위인의 계수함을 입은 자는 그 종족대로 이러하니 게르손에게서 난 게르손 가족과 고핫에게서 난 고핫 가족과 므라리에게서 난 므라리 가족이며
26:57 These are those who were numbered of the Levites after their families: of Gershon, the family of the Gershonites; of Kohath, the family of the Kohathites; of Merari, the family of the Merarites.
26:58 레위 종족들은 이러하니 립니 가족과 헤브론 가족과 말리 가족과 무시 가족과 고라 가족이라 고핫은 아므람을 낳았으며
26:58 These are the families of Levi: the family of the Libnites, the family of the Hebronites, the family of the Mahlites, the family of the Mushites, the family of the Korahites. Kohath became the father of Amram.
26:59 아므람의 처의 이름은 요게벳이니 레위의 딸이요 애굽에서 레위에게서 난 자라 그가 아므람에게서 아론과 모세와 그 누이 미리암을 낳았고
26:59 The name of Amram's wife was Jochebed, the daughter of Levi, who was born to Levi in Egypt: and she bore to Amram Aaron and Moses, and Miriam their sister.
26:60 아론에게서는 나답과 아비후와 엘르아살과 이다말이 났더니
26:60 To Aaron were born Nadab and Abihu, Eleazar and Ithamar.
26:61 나답과 아비후는 다른 불을 여호와 앞에 드리다가 죽었더라
26:61 Nadab and Abihu died, when they offered strange fire before Yahweh.
26:62 레위인의 일 개월 이상으로 계수함을 입은 모든 남자가 이만 삼천 명이었더라 그들은 이스라엘 자손 중 계수에 들지 아니하였으니 이는 이스라엘 자손 중에서 그들에게 준 기업이 없음이었더라
26:62 Those who were numbered of them were twenty-three thousand, every male from a month old and upward: for they were not numbered among the children of Israel, because there was no inheritance given them among the children of Israel.
26:63 ○ 이는 모세와 제사장 엘르아살의 계수한 자라 그들이 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 이스라엘 자손을 계수한 중에는
26:63 These are those who were numbered by Moses and Eleazar the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
26:64 모세와 제사장 아론이 시내 광야에서 계수한 이스라엘 자손은 한 사람도 들지 못하였으니
26:64 But among these there was not a man of them who were numbered by Moses and Aaron the priest, who numbered the children of Israel in the wilderness of Sinai.
26:65 이는 여호와께서 그들에게 대하여 말씀하시기를 그들이 반드시 광야에서 죽으리라 하셨음이라 이러므로 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아 외에는 한 사람도 남지 아니하였더라
26:65 For Yahweh had said of them, They shall surely die in the wilderness. There was not left a man of them, except Caleb the son of Jephunneh, and Joshua the son of Nun.
27:1 요셉의 아들 므낫세 가족에 므낫세의 현손 마길의 증손 길르앗의 손자 헤벨의 아들 슬로브핫의 딸들이 나아 왔으니 그 딸들의 이름은 말라와 노아와 호글라와 밀가와 디르사라
27:1 Then drew near the daughters of Zelophehad, the son of Hepher, the son of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and these are the names of his daughters: Mahlah, Noah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Tirzah.
27:2 그들이 회막문에서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 족장들과 온 회중 앞에 서서 가로되
27:2 They stood before Moses, and before Eleazar the priest, and before the princes and all the congregation, at the door of the Tent of Meeting, saying,
27:3 우리 아버지가 광야에서 죽었으나 여호와를 거스려 모인 고라의 무리에 들지 아니하고 자기 죄에 죽었고 아들이 없나이다
27:3 Our father died in the wilderness, and he was not among the company of those who gathered themselves together against Yahweh in the company of Korah: but he died in his own sin; and he had no sons.
27:4 어찌하여 아들이 없다고 우리 아버지의 이름이 그 가족 중에서 삭제되리이까 우리 아버지의 형제 중에서 우리에게 기업을 주소서 하매
27:4 Why should the name of our father be taken away from among his family, because he had no son? Give to us a possession among the brothers of our father."
27:5 모세가 그 사연을 여호와께 품하니라
27:5 Moses brought their cause before Yahweh.
27:6 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
27:6 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
27:7 슬로브핫 딸들의 말이 옳으니 너는 반드시 그들의 아비의 형제 중에서 그들에게 기업을 주어 얻게 하되 그 아비의 기업으로 그들에게 돌릴지니라
27:7 The daughters of Zelophehad speak right: you shall surely give them a possession of an inheritance among their father's brothers; and you shall cause the inheritance of their father to pass to them.
27:8 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 고하여 이르기를 사람이 죽고 아들이 없거든 그 기업을 그 딸에게 돌릴 것이요
27:8 You shall speak to the children of Israel, saying, 'If a man dies, and has no son, then you shall cause his inheritance to pass to his daughter.
27:9 딸도 없거든 그 기업을 그 형제에게 줄 것이요
27:9 If he has no daughter, then you shall give his inheritance to his brothers.
27:10 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 그 아비의 형제에게 줄 것이요
27:10 If he has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his father's brothers.
27:11 그 아비의 형제도 없거든 그 기업을 가장 가까운 친족에게 주어 얻게 할지니라 하고 나 여호와가 너 모세에게 명한 대로 이스라엘 자손에게 판결의 율례가 되게 할지니라
27:11 If his father has no brothers, then you shall give his inheritance to his kinsman who is next to him of his family, and he shall possess it: and it shall be to the children of Israel a statute [and] ordinance, as Yahweh commanded Moses.'"
27:12 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이 아바림 산에 올라가서 내가 이스라엘 자손에게 준 땅을 바라보라
27:12 Yahweh said to Moses, "Go up into this mountain of Abarim, and see the land which I have given to the children of Israel.
27:13 본 후에는 네 형 아론의 돌아간 것 같이 너도 조상에게로 돌아가리니
27:13 When you have seen it, you also shall be gathered to your people, as Aaron your brother was gathered;
27:14 이는 신 광야에서 회중이 분쟁할제 너희가 내 명을 거역하고 그 물가에서 나의 거룩함을 그들의 목전에 나타내지 아니하였음이니라 이 물은 신 광야 가데스의 므리바 물이니라
27:14 because you rebelled against my word in the wilderness of Zin, in the strife of the congregation, to sanctify me at the waters before their eyes." (These are the waters of Meribah of Kadesh in the wilderness of Zin.)
27:15 모세가 여호와께 여짜와 가로되
27:15 Moses spoke to Yahweh, saying,
27:16 여호와 모든 육체의 생명의 하나님이시여 원컨대 한 사람을 이 회중 위에 세워서
27:16 Let Yahweh, the God of the spirits of all flesh, appoint a man over the congregation,
27:17 그로 그들 앞에 출입하며 그들을 인도하여 출입하게 하사 여호와의 회중으로 목자 없는 양과 같이 되지 않게 하옵소서
27:17 who may go out before them, and who may come in before them, and who may lead them out, and who may bring them in; that the congregation of Yahweh not be as sheep which have no shepherd."
27:18 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 눈의 아들 여호수아는 신에 감동된 자니 너는 데려다가 그에게 안수하고
27:18 Yahweh said to Moses, "Take Joshua the son of Nun, a man in whom is the Spirit, and lay your hand on him;
27:19 그를 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고 그들의 목전에서 그에게 위탁하여
27:19 and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation; and commission him in their sight.
27:20 네 존귀를 그에게 돌려 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중으로 그에게 복종하게 하라
27:20 You shall put of your honor on him, that all the congregation of the children of Israel may obey.
27:21 그는 제사장 엘르아살 앞에 설 것이요 엘르아살은 그를 위하여 우림의 판결법으로 여호와 앞에 물을 것이며 그와 온 이스라엘 자손 곧 온 회중은 엘르아살의 말을 좇아 나가며 들어올 것이니라
27:21 He shall stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall inquire for him by the judgment of the Urim before Yahweh: at his word shall they go out, and at his word they shall come in, both he, and all the children of Israel with him, even all the congregation."
27:22 모세가 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하여 여호수아를 데려다가 제사장 엘르아살과 온 회중 앞에 세우고
27:22 Moses did as Yahweh commanded him; and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
27:23 그에게 안수하여 위탁하되 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 대로 하였더라
27:23 and he laid his hands on him, and commissioned him, as Yahweh spoke by Moses.
28:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
28:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
28:2 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들에게 이르라 나의 예물, 나의 식물되는 화제, 나의 향기로운 것은 너희가 그 정한 시기에 삼가 내게 드릴지니라
28:2 Command the children of Israel, and tell them, 'My offering, my food for my offerings made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to me, you shall observe to offer to me in their due season.'
28:3 또 그들에게 이르라 너희가 여호와께 드릴 화제는 이러하니 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양을 매일 둘씩 상번제로 드리되
28:3 You shall tell them, 'This is the offering made by fire which you shall offer to Yahweh: male lambs a year old without blemish, two day by day, for a continual burnt offering.
28:4 한 어린 양은 아침에 드리고 한 어린 양은 해 질 때에 드릴 것이요
28:4 You shall offer the one lamb in the morning, and you shall offer the other lamb at evening;
28:5 또 고운 가루 에바 십분지 일에 빻아낸 기름 힌 사분지 일을 섞어서 소제로 드릴 것이니
28:5 with the tenth part of an ephah of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with the fourth part of a hin of beaten oil.
28:6 이는 시내 산에서 정한 상번제로서 여호와께 드리는 향기로운 화제며
28:6 It is a continual burnt offering, which was ordained in Mount Sinai for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
28:7 또 그 전제는 어린 양 하나에 힌 사분지 일을 드리되 거룩한 곳에서 여호와께 독주의 전제를 부어 드릴 것이며
28:7 Its drink offering shall be the fourth part of a hin for the one lamb. You shall pour out a drink offering of strong drink to Yahweh in the holy place.
28:8 해 질 때에는 그 한 어린 양을 드리되 그 소제와 전제를 아침 것 같이 여호와께 향기로운 화제로 드릴 것이니라
28:8 The other lamb you shall offer at evening: as the meal offering of the morning, and as the drink offering of it, you shall offer it, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh.
28:9 ○ 안식일에는 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 둘과 고운 가루 에바 십분지 이에 기름 섞은 소제와 그 전제를 드릴 것이니
28:9 'On the Sabbath day two male lambs a year old without blemish, and two tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, and the drink offering of it:
28:10 이는 매 안식일의 번제라 상번제와 그 전제 외에니라
28:10 this is the burnt offering of every Sabbath, besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.
28:11 ○ 월삭에는 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 일곱으로 여호와께 번제를 드리되
28:11 'In the beginnings of your months you shall offer a burnt offering to Yahweh: two young bulls, and one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
28:12 매 수송아지에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 삼에 기름 섞은 소제와 수양 하나에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 이에 기름 섞은 소제와
28:12 and three tenth parts [of an ephah] of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, for each bull; and two tenth parts of fine flour for a meal offering, mixed with oil, for the one ram;
28:13 매 어린 양에는 고운 가루 에바 십분지 일에 기름 섞은 소제를 향기로운 번제로 여호와께 화제를 드릴 것이며
28:13 and a tenth part of fine flour mixed with oil for a meal offering to every lamb; for a burnt offering of a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
28:14 그 전제는 수송아지 하나에 포도주 반 힌이요 수양 하나에 삼분지 일 힌이요 어린 양 하나에 사분지 일 힌이니 이는 일 년 중 매 월삭의 번제며
28:14 Their drink offerings shall be half a hin of wine for a bull, and the third part of a hin for the ram, and the fourth part of a hin for a lamb: this is the burnt offering of every month throughout the months of the year.
28:15 또 상번제와 그 전제 외에 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 여호와께 드릴 것이니라
28:15 One male goat for a sin offering to Yahweh; it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.
28:16 ○ 정월 십 사 일은 여호와의 유월절이며
28:16 'In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, is Yahweh's Passover.
28:17 또 그 달 십 오 일부터는 절일이니 칠 일 동안 무교병을 먹을 것이며
28:17 On the fifteenth day of this month shall be a feast: seven days shall unleavened bread be eaten.
28:18 그 첫 날에는 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
28:18 In the first day shall be a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work;
28:19 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일 년 된 수양 일곱을 다 흠 없는 것으로 여호와께 화제를 드려 번제가 되게 할 것이며
28:19 but you shall offer an offering made by fire, a burnt offering to Yahweh: two young bulls, and one ram, and seven male lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish;
28:20 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 수송아지 하나에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 하나에는 에바 십분지 이를 드리고
28:20 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil: you shall offer three tenth parts for a bull, and two tenth parts for the ram.
28:21 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
28:21 You shall offer a tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
28:22 또 너희를 속하기 위하여 수염소 하나로 속죄제를 드리되
28:22 and one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you.
28:23 아침의 번제 곧 상번제 외에 그것들을 드릴 것이니라
28:23 You shall offer these besides the burnt offering of the morning, which is for a continual burnt offering.
28:24 너희는 이 순서대로 칠 일 동안 매일 여호와께 향기로운 화제의 식물을 드리되 상번제와 그 전제 외에 드릴 것이며
28:24 In this way you shall offer daily, for seven days, the food of the offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: it shall be offered besides the continual burnt offering, and the drink offering of it.
28:25 제 칠 일에는 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이니라
28:25 On the seventh day you shall have a holy convocation: you shall do no servile work.
28:26 ○ 칠칠절 처음 익은 열매 드리는 날에 너희가 여호와께 새 소제를 드릴 때에도 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
28:26 'Also in the day of the first fruits, when you offer a new meal offering to Yahweh in your [feast of] weeks, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work;
28:27 수송아지 둘과 수양 하나와 일 년 된 수양 일곱으로 여호와께 향기로운 번제를 드릴 것이며
28:27 but you shall offer a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: two young bulls, one ram, seven male lambs a year old;
28:28 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 매 수송아지에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 하나에는 에바 십분지 이요
28:28 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for each bull, two tenth parts for the one ram,
28:29 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
28:29 tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
28:30 또 너희를 속하기 위하여 수염소 하나를 드리되
28:30 one male goat, to make atonement for you.
28:31 너희는 다 흠 없는 것으로 상번제와 그 소제와 전제 외에 그것들을 드릴 것이니라
28:31 Besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, you shall offer them (they shall be to you without blemish), and their drink offerings.
29:1 칠 월에 이르러는 그 달 초일 일에 성회로 모이고 아무 노동도 하지 말라 이는 너희가 나팔을 불 날이니라
29:1 'In the seventh month, on the first day of the month, you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work: it is a day of blowing of trumpets to you.
29:2 너희는 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나와 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 일곱을 여호와께 향기로운 번제로 드릴 것이며
29:2 You shall offer a burnt offering for a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: one young bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:3 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 수송아지에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양에는 에바 십분지 이요
29:3 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for the bull, two tenth parts for the ram,
29:4 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
29:4 and one tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs;
29:5 또 너희를 속하기 위하여 수염소 하나로 속죄제를 드리되
29:5 and one male goat for a sin offering, to make atonement for you;
29:6 월삭의 번제와 그 소제와 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에 그 규례를 따라 향기로운 화제로 여호와께 드릴 것이니라
29:6 besides the burnt offering of the new moon, and the meal offering of it, and the continual burnt offering and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings, according to their ordinance, for a pleasant aroma, an offering made by fire to Yahweh.
29:7 ○ 칠 월 십 일에는 너희가 성회로 모일 것이요 마음을 괴롭게 하고 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
29:7 'On the tenth day of this seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; and you shall afflict your souls: you shall do no kind of work;
29:8 너희는 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나와 일 년 된 수양 일곱을 다 흠 없는 것으로 여호와께 향기로운 번제를 드릴 것이며
29:8 but you shall offer a burnt offering to Yahweh for a pleasant aroma: one young bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old; they shall be to you without blemish;
29:9 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 쓰되 수송아지 하나에는 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 하나에는 에바 십분지 이요
29:9 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for the bull, two tenth parts for the one ram,
29:10 어린 양 일곱에는 매 어린 양에 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
29:10 tenth part for every lamb of the seven lambs:
29:11 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴 것이니 이는 속죄제와 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:11 one male goat for a sin offering; besides the sin offering of atonement, and the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings.
29:12 ○ 칠 월 십 오 일에는 너희가 성회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며 칠 일 동안 여호와 앞에 절기를 지킬 것이라
29:12 'On the fifteenth day of the seventh month you shall have a holy convocation; you shall do no servile work, and you shall keep a feast to Yahweh seven days:
29:13 너희 번제로 여호와께 향기로운 화제를 드리되 수송아지 열 셋과 수양 둘과 일 년 된 수양 열 넷을 다 흠 없는 것으로 드릴 것이며
29:13 and you shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh; thirteen young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old; they shall be without blemish;
29:14 그 소제로는 고운 가루에 기름을 섞어서 수송아지 열 셋에는 각기 에바 십분지 삼이요 수양 둘에는 각기 에바 십분지 이요
29:14 and their meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil, three tenth parts for every bull of the thirteen bulls, two tenth parts for each ram of the two rams,
29:15 어린 양 열 넷에는 각기 에바 십분지 일을 드릴 것이며
29:15 and a tenth part for every lamb of the fourteen lambs;
29:16 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:16 and one male goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:17 ○ 둘째 날에는 수송아지 열 둘과 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:17 'On the second day [you shall offer] twelve young bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:18 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:18 and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
29:19 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:19 and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and their drink offerings.
29:20 ○ 세째 날에는 수송아지 열 하나와 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:20 'On the third day eleven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:21 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:21 and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
29:22 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:22 and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:23 ○ 네째 날에는 수송아지 열과 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:23 'On the fourth day ten bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:24 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:24 their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
29:25 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:25 and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:26 ○ 다섯째 날에는 수송아지 아홉과 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:26 'On the fifth day nine bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:27 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:27 and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
29:28 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:28 and one male goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:29 ○ 여섯째 날에는 수송아지 여덟과 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:29 'On the sixth day eight bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:30 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:30 and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;
29:31 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:31 and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, the meal offering of it, and the drink offerings of it.
29:32 ○ 일곱째 날에는 수송아지 일곱과 수양 둘과 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 열 넷을 드릴 것이며
29:32 'On the seventh day seven bulls, two rams, fourteen male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:33 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:33 and their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bulls, for the rams, and for the lambs, according to their number, after the ordinance;

29:34 and one male goat for a sin offering; besides the continual burnt offering, the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:35 ○ 여덟째 날에는 거룩한 대회로 모일 것이요 아무 노동도 하지 말 것이며
29:35 'On the eighth day you shall have a solemn assembly: you shall do no servile work;
29:36 번제로 여호와께 향기로운 화제를 드리되 수송아지 하나와 수양 하나와 일 년 되고 흠 없는 수양 일곱을 드릴 것이며
29:36 but you shall offer a burnt offering, an offering made by fire, of a pleasant aroma to Yahweh: one bull, one ram, seven male lambs a year old without blemish;
29:37 그 소제와 전제는 수송아지와 수양과 어린 양의 수효를 따라서 규례대로 할 것이며
29:37 their meal offering and their drink offerings for the bull, for the ram, and for the lambs, shall be according to their number, after the ordinance:
29:38 또 수염소 하나를 속죄제로 드릴지니 상번제와 그 소제와 그 전제 외에니라
29:38 and one male goat for a sin offering, besides the continual burnt offering, and the meal offering of it, and the drink offering of it.
29:39 ○ 너희가 이 절기를 당하거든 여호와께 이같이 드릴지니 이는 너희 서원제나 낙헌제 외에 번제, 소제, 전제, 화목제를 드릴 것이니라
29:39 'You shall offer these to Yahweh in your set feasts, besides your vows, and your freewill offerings, for your burnt offerings, and for your meal offerings, and for your drink offerings, and for your peace offerings.'"
29:40 모세가 여호와께서 자기로 명하신 모든 일을 이스라엘 자손에게 고하니라
29:40 Moses told the children of Israel according to all that Yahweh commanded Moses.
30:1 모세가 이스라엘 자손 지파의 두령들에게 일러 가로되 여호와의 명령이 이러하니라
30:1 Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, "This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded.
30:2 사람이 여호와께 서원하였거나 마음을 제어하기로 서약하였거든 파약하지 말고 그 입에서 나온 대로 다 행할 것이니라
30:2 When a man vows a vow to Yahweh, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word; he shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
30:3 또 여자가 만일 어려서 그 아비 집에 있을 때에 여호와께 서원한 일이나 스스로 제어하려 한 일이 있다 하자
30:3 Also when a woman vows a vow to Yahweh, and binds herself by a bond, being in her father's house, in her youth,
30:4 그 아비가 그의 서원이나 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 듣고도 그에게 아무 말이 없으면 그 모든 서원을 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 지킬 것이니라
30:4 and her father hears her vow, and her bond with which she has bound her soul, and her father holds his peace at her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
30:5 그러나 그 아비가 그것을 듣는 날에 허락지 아니하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려던 서약이 이루지 못할 것이니 그 아비가 허락지 아니하였은즉 여호와께서 사하시리라
30:5 But if her father disallow her in the day that he hears, none of her vows, or of her bonds with which she has bound her soul, shall stand: and Yahweh will forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
30:6 ○ 또 혹시 남편을 맞을 때에 서원이나 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 경솔히 그 입에서 발하였다 하자
30:6 If she is [married] to a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul,
30:7 그 남편이 그것을 듣고 그 듣는 날에 그에게 아무 말이 없으면 그 서원을 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약을 지킬 것이니라
30:7 and her husband hear it, and hold his peace at her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her bonds with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
30:8 그러나 그 남편이 그것을 듣는 날에 허락지 아니하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려고 경솔히 입술에서 발한 서약이 무효 될 것이니 여호와께서 그 여자를 사하시리라
30:8 But if her husband disallow her in the day that he hears it, then he shall make void her vow which is on her, and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul: and Yahweh will forgive her.
30:9 ○ 과부나 이혼 당한 여자의 서원이나 무릇 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약은 지킬 것이니라
30:9 But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, [even] everything with which she has bound her soul, shall stand against her.
30:10 부녀가 혹시 그 남편의 집에 있어 서원을 하였다든지 마음을 제어하려고 서약을 하였다 하자
30:10 If she vowed in her husband's house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,
30:11 그 남편이 그것을 듣고도 아무 말이 없고 금함이 없으면 그 서원은 무릇 행할 것이요 그 마음을 제어하려는 서약은 무릇 지킬 것이니라
30:11 and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and didn't disallow her; then all her vows shall stand, and every bond with which she bound her soul shall stand.
30:12 그러나 그 남편이 그것을 듣는 날에 무효케 하면 그 서원과 마음을 제어하려던 일에 대하여 입술에서 낸 것을 무엇이든지 이루지 못하나니 그 남편이 그것을 무효케 하였은즉 여호와께서 그 부녀를 사하시느니라
30:12 But if her husband made them null and void in the day that he heard them, then whatever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband has made them void; and Yahweh will forgive her.
30:13 ○ 무릇 서원과 무릇 마음을 괴롭게 하려는 서약은 그 남편이 그것을 지키게도 할 수 있고 무효케도 할 수 있나니
30:13 Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
30:14 그 남편이 일향 말이 없으면 아내의 서원과 스스로 제어하려는 일을 지키게 하는 것이니 이는 그가 그것을 들을 때에 그 아내에게 아무 말도 아니하였으므로 지키게 됨이니라
30:14 But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day, then he establishes all her vows, or all her bonds, which are on her: he has established them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
30:15 그러나 그 남편이 들은 지 얼마 후에 그것을 무효케 하면 그가 아내의 죄를 담당할 것이니라
30:15 But if he shall make them null and void after that he has heard them, then he shall bear her iniquity."
30:16 이는 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 율례니 남편이 아내에게, 아비가 자기 집에 있는 유년 여자에게 대한 것이니라
30:16 These are the statutes, which Yahweh commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between a father and his daughter, being in her youth, in her father's house.
31:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
31:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
31:2 이스라엘 자손의 원수를 미디안에게 갚으라 그 후에 네가 네 조상에게로 돌아가리라
31:2 Avenge the children of Israel for the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people."
31:3 모세가 백성에게 일러 가로되 너희 중에서 사람을 택하여 싸움에 나갈 준비를 시키고 미디안을 치러 보내어서 여호와의 원수를 미디안에게 갚되
31:3 Moses spoke to the people, saying, "Arm men from among you for the war, that they may go against Midian, to execute Yahweh's vengeance on Midian.
31:4 이스라엘 모든 지파에 대하여 각 지파에서 일천 인씩을 싸움에 보낼지니라 하매
31:4 Of every tribe one thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, you shall send to the war."
31:5 매 지파에서 일천 인씩 이스라엘 천만인 중에서 일만 이천 인을 택하여 무장을 시킨지라
31:5 So there were delivered, out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.
31:6 모세가 매 지파에 일천 인씩 싸움에 보내되 제사장 엘르아살의 아들 비느하스에게 성소의 기구와 신호 나팔을 들려서 그들과 함께 싸움에 보내매
31:6 Moses sent them, one thousand of every tribe, to the war, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the vessels of the sanctuary and the trumpets for the alarm in his hand.
31:7 그들이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 미디안을 쳐서 그 남자를 다 죽였고
31:7 They warred against Midian, as Yahweh commanded Moses; and they killed every male.
31:8 그 죽인 자 외에 미디안의 다섯 왕을 죽였으니 미디안의 왕들은 에위와 레겜과 수르와 후르와 레바이며 또 브올의 아들 발람을 칼로 죽였더라
31:8 They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain: Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they killed with the sword.
31:9 이스라엘 자손이 미디안의 부녀들과 그 아이들을 사로잡고 그 가축과 양 떼와 재물을 다 탈취하고
31:9 The children of Israel took captive the women of Midian and their little ones; and all their livestock, and all their flocks, and all their goods, they took for a prey.
31:10 그 거처하는 성읍들과 촌락을 다 불사르고
31:10 All their cities in the places in which they lived, and all their encampments, they burnt with fire.
31:11 탈취한 것, 노략한 것, 사람과 짐승을 다 취하니라
31:11 They took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of man and of animal.
31:12 그들이 사로잡은 자와 노략한 것과 탈취한 것을 가지고 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지의 진에 이르러 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 이스라엘 자손의 회중에게로 나아오니라
31:12 They brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the congregation of the children of Israel, to the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by the Jordan at Jericho.
31:13 ○ 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 회중의 족장들이 다 진 밖에 나가서 영접하다가
31:13 Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and all the princes of the congregation, went forth to meet them outside of the camp.
31:14 모세가 군대의 장관 곧 싸움에서 돌아온 천부장들과 백부장들에게 노하니라
31:14 Moses was angry with the officers of the army, the captains of thousands and the captains of hundreds, who came from the service of the war.
31:15 모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 여자들을 다 살려 두었느냐
31:15 Moses said to them, "Have you saved all the women alive?
31:16 보라 이들이 발람의 꾀를 좇아 이스라엘 자손으로 브올의 사건에 여호와 앞에 범죄케 하여 여호와의 회중에 염병이 일어나게 하였느니라
31:16 Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against Yahweh in the matter of Peor, and so the plague was among the congregation of Yahweh.
31:17 그러므로 아이들 중에 남자는 다 죽이고 남자와 동침하여 사내를 안 여자는 다 죽이고
31:17 Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman who has known man by lying with him.
31:18 남자와 동침하지 아니하여 사내를 알지 못하는 여자들은 다 너희를 위하여 살려둘 것이니라
31:18 But all the girls, who have not known man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.
31:19 너희는 칠 일 동안 진 밖에 주둔하라 무릇 살인자나 죽임을 당한 시체를 만진 자나 제 삼 일과 제 칠 일에 몸을 깨끗케 하고 너희의 포로도 깨끗케 할 것이며
31:19 Encamp outside of the camp seven days: whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.
31:20 무릇 의복과 무릇 가죽으로 만든 것과 무릇 염소털로 만든 것과 무릇 나무로 만든 것을 다 깨끗케 할지니라
31:20 As to every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats' [hair], and all things made of wood, you shall purify yourselves."
31:21 ○ 제사장 엘르아살이 싸움에 나갔던 군인들에게 이르되 이는 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 법률이니라
31:21 Eleazar the priest said to the men of war who went to the battle, "This is the statute of the law which Yahweh has commanded Moses:
31:22 금, 은, 동, 철과 상납과 납의
31:22 however the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,
31:23 무릇 불에 견딜 만한 물건은 불을 지나게 하라 그리하면 깨끗하려니와 오히려 정결케 하는 물로 그것을 깨끗케 할 것이며 무릇 불에 견디지 못할 모든 것은 물을 지나게 할 것이니라
31:23 everything that may withstand the fire, you shall make to go through the fire, and it shall be clean; nevertheless it shall be purified with the water for impurity: and all that doesn't withstand the fire you shall make to go through the water.
31:24 너희는 제 칠 일에 옷을 빨아서 깨끗케 한 후에 진에 들어 올지니라
31:24 You shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and you shall be clean; and afterward you shall come into the camp."
31:25 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
31:25 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
31:26 너는 제사장 엘르아살과 회중의 족장들로 더불어 이 탈취한 사람과 짐승을 계수하고
31:26 Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of animal, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the congregation;
31:27 그 얻은 물건을 반분하여 그 절반은 싸움에 나갔던 군인들에게 주고 절반은 회중에게 주고
31:27 and divide the prey into two parts: between the men skilled in war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.
31:28 싸움에 나갔던 군인들로는 사람이나 소나 나귀나 양 떼의 오백분지 일을 여호와께 드리게 하되
31:28 Levy a tribute to Yahweh of the men of war who went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, [both] of the persons, and of the cattle, and of the donkeys, and of the flocks:
31:29 곧 이를 그들의 절반에서 취하여 여호와의 거제로 제사장 엘르아살에게 주고
31:29 take it of their half, and give it to Eleazar the priest, for Yahweh's wave offering.
31:30 또 이스라엘 자손의 얻은 절반에서는 사람이나 소나 나귀나 양 떼나 각종 짐승을 오십분지 일을 취하여 여호와의 성막을 맡은 레위인에게 주라
31:30 Of the children of Israel's half, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, [even] of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of the tabernacle of Yahweh."
31:31 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 하니라
31:31 Moses and Eleazar the priest did as Yahweh commanded Moses.
31:32 ○ 그 탈취물 곧 군인들의 다른 탈취물 외에 양이 육십칠만 오천이요
31:32 Now the prey, over and above the booty which the men of war took, was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,
31:33 소가 칠만 이천이요
31:33 and seventy-two thousand head of cattle,
31:34 나귀가 육만 일천이요
31:34 and sixty-one thousand donkeys,
31:35 사람은 남자와 동침하지 아니하여서 사내를 알지 못하는 여자가 도합 삼만 이천이니
31:35 and thirty-two thousand persons in all, of the women who had not known man by lying with him.
31:36 그 절반 곧 싸움에 나갔던 자들의 소유가 양이 삼십삼만 칠천 오백이라
31:36 The half, which was the portion of those who went out to war, was in number three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep:
31:37 여호와께 세로 드린 양이 육백 칠십 오요
31:37 and Yahweh's tribute of the sheep was six hundred seventy-five.
31:38 소가 삼만 육천이라 그 중에서 여호와께 세로 드린 것이 칠십 이 두요
31:38 The cattle were thirty-six thousand; of which Yahweh's tribute was seventy-two.
31:39 나귀가 삼만 오백이라 그 중에서 여호와께 세로 드린 것이 육십 일이요
31:39 The donkeys were thirty thousand five hundred; of which Yahweh's tribute was sixty-one.
31:40 사람이 일만 육천이라 그 중에서 여호와께 세로 드리운 자가 삼십 이 명이니
31:40 The persons were sixteen thousand; of whom Yahweh's tribute was thirty-two persons.
31:41 여호와께 거제의 세로 드린 것을 모세가 제사장 엘르아살에게 주었으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았더라
31:41 Moses gave the tribute, which was Yahweh's wave offering, to Eleazar the priest, as Yahweh commanded Moses.
31:42 ○ 모세가 싸움에 나갔던 자에게서 나누어 취하여 이스라엘 자손에게 준 절반
31:42 Of the children of Israel's half, which Moses divided off from the men who warred
31:43 곧 회중의 얻은 절반은 양이 삼십삼만 칠천 오백이요
31:43 (now the congregation's half was three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,
31:44 소가 삼만 육천이요
31:44 and thirty-six thousand head of cattle,
31:45 나귀가 삼만 오백이요
31:45 and thirty thousand five hundred donkeys,
31:46 사람이 일만 육천이라
31:46 and sixteen thousand persons),
31:47 이스라엘 자손의 그 절반에서 모세가 사람이나 짐승의 오십분지 일을 취하여 여호와의 장막을 맡은 레위인에게 주었으니 여호와께서 모세에게 명하심과 같았더라
31:47 even of the children of Israel's half, Moses took one drawn out of every fifty, both of man and of animal, and gave them to the Levites, who performed the duty of the tabernacle of Yahweh; as Yahweh commanded Moses.
31:48 ○ 군대의 장관들 곧 천부장과 백부장들이 모세에게 나아와서
31:48 The officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses;
31:49 그에게 고하되 당신의 종들의 영솔한 군인을 계수한즉 우리 중 한 사람도 축나지 아니하였기로
31:49 and they said to Moses, "Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our command, and there lacks not one man of us.
31:50 우리 각 사람의 얻은 바 금 패물 곧 발목 고리, 손목 고리, 인장 반지, 귀 고리, 팔 고리들을 여호와의 예물로 우리의 생명을 위하여 여호와 앞에 속죄하려고 가져왔나이다
31:50 We have brought Yahweh's offering, what every man has gotten, of jewels of gold, armlets, and bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before Yahweh."
31:51 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 그들에게서 그 금으로 만든 모든 패물을 취한즉
31:51 Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all worked jewels.
31:52 천부장과 백부장들이 여호와께 드린 거제의 금의 도합이 일만 육천 칠백 오십 세겔이니
31:52 All the gold of the wave offering that they offered up to Yahweh, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred fifty shekels.
31:53 군인들이 각기 자기를 위하여 탈취한 것이라
31:53 ([For] the men of war had taken booty, every man for himself.)
31:54 모세와 제사장 엘르아살이 천부장과 백부장들에게서 금을 취하여 회막에 드려서 여호와 앞에 이스라엘 자손의 기념을 삼았더라
31:54 Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the Tent of Meeting, for a memorial for the children of Israel before Yahweh.
32:1 르우벤 자손과 갓 자손은 심히 많은 가축의 떼가 있었더라 그들이 야셀 땅과 길르앗 땅을 본즉 그 곳은 가축에 적당한 곳인지라
32:1 Now the children of Reuben and the children of Gad had a very great multitude of livestock: and when they saw the land of Jazer, and the land of Gilead, that behold, the place was a place for livestock;
32:2 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손이 와서 모세와 제사장 엘르아살과 회중 족장들에게 말하여 가로되
32:2 the children of Gad and the children of Reuben came and spoke to Moses, and to Eleazar the priest, and to the princes of the congregation, saying,
32:3 아다롯과 디본과 야셀과 니므라와 헤스본과 엘르알레와 스밤과 느보와 브온
32:3 Ataroth, and Dibon, and Jazer, and Nimrah, and Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Sebam, and Nebo, and Beon,
32:4 곧 여호와께서 이스라엘 회중 앞에서 쳐서 멸하신 땅은 가축에 적당한 곳이요 당신의 종들에게는 가축이 있나이다
32:4 the land which Yahweh struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock."
32:5 또 가로되 우리가 만일 당신에게 은혜를 입었으면 이 땅을 당신의 종들에게 산업으로 주시고 우리로 요단을 건너지 않게 하소서
32:5 They said, "If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession; don't bring us over the Jordan."
32:6 ○ 모세가 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손에게 이르되 너희 형제들은 싸우러 가거늘 너희는 여기 앉았고자 하느냐
32:6 Moses said to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, "Shall your brothers go to the war, and shall you sit here?
32:7 너희가 어찌하여 이스라엘 자손으로 낙심케 하여서 여호와께서 그들에게 주신 땅으로 건너갈 수 없게 하려느냐
32:7 Why do you discourage the heart of the children of Israel from going over into the land which Yahweh has given them?
32:8 너희 열조도 내가 가데스바네아에서 그 땅을 보라고 보내었을 때에 그리하였었나니
32:8 Your fathers did so when I sent them from Kadesh Barnea to see the land.
32:9 그들이 에스골 골짜기에 올라가서 그 땅을 보고 이스라엘 자손으로 낙심케 하여서 여호와께서 그들에게 주신 땅으로 갈 수 없게 하였었느니라
32:9 For when they went up to the valley of Eshcol, and saw the land, they discouraged the heart of the children of Israel, that they should not go into the land which Yahweh had given them.
32:10 그때에 여호와께서 진노하사 맹세하여 가라사대
32:10 Yahweh's anger was kindled in that day, and he swore, saying,
32:11 애굽에서 나온 자들의 이십 세 이상으로는 한 사람도 내가 아브라함과 이삭과 야곱에게 맹세한 땅을 정녕히 보지 못하리니 이는 그들이 나를 온전히 순종치 아니하였음이니라
32:11 'Surely none of the men who came up out of Egypt, from twenty years old and upward, shall see the land which I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; because they have not wholly followed me:
32:12 다만 그나스 사람 여분네의 아들 갈렙과 눈의 아들 여호수아는 볼 것은 여호와를 온전히 순종하였음이니라 하시고
32:12 except Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenizzite, and Joshua the son of Nun; because they have followed Yahweh completely.'
32:13 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 진노하사 그들로 사십 년 동안 광야에 유리하게 하신 고로 여호와의 목전에 악을 행한 그 세대가 필경은 다 소멸하였느니라
32:13 Yahweh's anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander back and forth in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, who had done evil in the sight of Yahweh, was consumed.
32:14 보라 너희는 너희의 열조를 계대하여 일어난 죄인의 종류로서 이스라엘을 향하신 여호와의 노를 더욱 심하게 하는도다
32:14 Behold, you have risen up in your fathers' place, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of Yahweh toward Israel.
32:15 너희가 만일 돌이켜 여호와를 떠나면 여호와께서 또 이 백성을 광야에 버리시리니 그리하면 너희가 이 모든 백성을 멸망시키리라
32:15 For if you turn away from after him, he will yet again leave them in the wilderness; and you will destroy all this people."
32:16 ○ 그들이 모세에게 가까이 나아와 가로되 우리가 이곳에 우리 가축을 위하여 우리를 짓고 우리 유아들을 위하여 성읍을 건축하고
32:16 They came near to him, and said, "We will build sheepfolds here for our livestock, and cities for our little ones:
32:17 이 땅 거민의 연고로 우리 유아들로 그 견고한 성읍에 거하게 한 후에 우리는 무장하고 이스라엘 자손을 그 곳으로 인도하기까지 그들의 앞에 행하고
32:17 but we ourselves will be ready armed to go before the children of Israel, until we have brought them to their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fortified cities because of the inhabitants of the land.
32:18 이스라엘 자손이 각기 기업을 얻기까지 우리 집으로 돌아오지 아니하겠사오며
32:18 We will not return to our houses, until the children of Israel have inherited every man his inheritance.
32:19 우리는 요단 이편 곧 동편에서 산업을 얻었사오니 그들과 함께 요단 저편에서는 기업을 얻지 아니하겠나이다
32:19 For we will not inherit with them on the other side of the Jordan, and forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side of the Jordan eastward."
32:20 ○ 모세가 그들에게 이르되 너희가 만일 이 일을 행하여 무장하고 여호와 앞에서 가서 싸우되
32:20 Moses said to them, "If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before Yahweh to the war,
32:21 너희가 다 무장하고 여호와 앞에서 요단을 건너가서 여호와께서 그 원수를 자기 앞에서 쫓아내시고
32:21 and every armed man of you will pass over the Jordan before Yahweh, until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
32:22 그 땅으로 여호와 앞에 복종케 하시기까지 싸우면 여호와의 앞에서나 이스라엘의 앞에서나 무죄히 돌아오겠고 이 땅은 여호와 앞에서 너희의 산업이 되리라마는
32:22 and the land is subdued before Yahweh; then afterward you shall return, and be guiltless towards Yahweh, and towards Israel; and this land shall be to you for a possession before Yahweh.
32:23 너희가 만일 그같이 아니하면 여호와께 범죄함이니 너희 죄가 정녕 너희를 찾아낼 줄 알라
32:23 But if you will not do so, behold, you have sinned against Yahweh; and be sure your sin will find you out.
32:24 너희는 유아들을 위하여 성읍을 건축하고 양을 위하여 우리를 지으라 그리하고 너희 입에서 낸 대로 행하라
32:24 Build cities for your little ones, and folds for your sheep; and do that which has proceeded out of your mouth."
32:25 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손이 모세에게 대답하여 가로되 우리 주의 명대로 종들이 행할 것이라
32:25 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben spoke to Moses, saying, "Your servants will do as my lord commands.
32:26 우리의 어린 자와 아내와 양 떼와 모든 가축은 이곳 길르앗 성읍들에 두고
32:26 Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our livestock, shall be there in the cities of Gilead;
32:27 우리 주의 말씀대로 종들은 무장하고 여호와 앞에서 다 건너가서 싸우리이다
32:27 but your servants will pass over, every man who is armed for war, before Yahweh to battle, as my lord says."
32:28 ○ 이에 모세가 그들에게 대하여 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아와 이스라엘 자손 지파의 두령들에게 명하니라
32:28 So Moses commanded concerning them to Eleazar the priest, and to Joshua the son of Nun, and to the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the tribes of the children of Israel.
32:29 모세가 그들에게 이르되 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손이 만일 각기 무장하고 너희와 함께 요단을 건너가서 여호와 앞에서 싸워서 그 땅이 너희 앞에 항복하기에 이르거든 길르앗 땅을 그들에게 산업으로 줄 것이니라
32:29 Moses said to them, "If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle, before Yahweh, and the land shall be subdued before you; then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
32:30 그러나 그들이 만일 너희와 함께 무장하고 건너지 아니하거든 가나안 땅에서 너희 중에 산업을 줄 것이니라
32:30 but if they will not pass over with you armed, they shall have possessions among you in the land of Canaan."
32:31 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손이 대답하여 가로되 여호와께서 당신의 종들에게 명하신 대로 우리가 행할 것이라
32:31 The children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, "As Yahweh has said to your servants, so will we do.
32:32 우리가 무장하고 여호와 앞에서 가나안 땅에 건너가서 요단 이편으로 우리의 산업이 되게 하리이다
32:32 We will pass over armed before Yahweh into the land of Canaan, and the possession of our inheritance [shall remain] with us beyond the Jordan."
32:33 ○ 모세가 갓 자손과 르우벤 자손과 요셉의 아들 므낫세 반 지파에게 아모리인의 왕 시혼의 국토와 바산 왕 옥의 국토를 주되 곧 그 나라와 그 경내 성읍들과 그 성읍들의 사면 땅을 그들에게 주매
32:33 Moses gave to them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and to the half-tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, according to the cities of it with [their] borders, even the cities of the surrounding land.
32:34 갓 자손은 디본과 아다롯과 아로엘과
32:34 The children of Gad built Dibon, and Ataroth, and Aroer,
32:35 아다롯소반과 야셀과 욕브하와
32:35 and Atrothshophan, and Jazer, and Jogbehah,
32:36 벧니므라와 벧하란들의 견고한 성읍을 건축하였고 또 양을 위하여 우리를 지었으며
32:36 and Beth Nimrah, and Beth Haran: fortified cities, and folds for sheep.
32:37 르우벤 자손은 헤스본과 엘르알레와 기랴다임과
32:37 The children of Reuben built Heshbon, and Elealeh, and Kiriathaim,
32:38 느보와 바알므온들을 건축하고 그 이름을 고쳤고 또 십마를 건축하고 건축한 성읍들에 새 이름을 주었고
32:38 and Nebo, and Baal Meon, (their names being changed), and Sibmah: and they gave other names to the cities which they built.
32:39 므낫세의 아들 마길의 자손은 가서 길르앗을 쳐서 취하고 거기 있는 아모리인을 쫓아내매
32:39 The children of Machir the son of Manasseh went to Gilead, and took it, and dispossessed the Amorites who were therein.
32:40 모세가 길르앗을 므낫세의 아들 마길에게 주매 그가 거기 거하였고
32:40 Moses gave Gilead to Machir the son of Manasseh; and he lived therein.
32:41 므낫세의 아들 야일은 가서 그 촌락들을 취하고 하봇야일이라 칭하였으며
32:41 Jair the son of Manasseh went and took its towns, and called them Havvoth Jair.
32:42 노바는 가서 그낫과 그 향촌을 취하고 자기 이름을 따라서 노바라 칭하였더라
32:42 Nobah went and took Kenath, and its villages, and called it Nobah, after his own name.
33:1 이스라엘 자손이 모세와 아론의 관할하에 그 항오대로 애굽 땅에서 나오던 때의 노정이 이러하니라
33:1 These are the journeys of the children of Israel, when they went forth out of the land of Egypt by their armies under the hand of Moses and Aaron.
33:2 모세가 여호와의 명대로 그 노정을 따라 그 진행한 것을 기록하였으니 그 진행한 대로 그 노정은 이러하니라
33:2 Moses wrote their goings out according to their journeys by the commandment of Yahweh: and these are their journeys according to their goings out.
33:3 그들이 정월 십 오 일에 라암셋에서 발행하였으니 곧 유월절 다음 날이라 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 모든 사람의 목전에서 큰 권능으로 나왔으니
33:3 They traveled from Rameses in the first month, on the fifteenth day of the first month; on the next day after the Passover the children of Israel went out with a high hand in the sight of all the Egyptians,
33:4 애굽인은 여호와께서 그들 중에 치신 그 모든 장자를 장사하는 때라 여호와께서 그들의 신들에게도 벌을 주셨더라
33:4 while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, whom Yahweh had struck among them: on their gods also Yahweh executed judgments.
33:5 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 라암셋에서 발행하여 숙곳에 진 쳤고
33:5 The children of Israel traveled from Rameses, and encamped in Succoth.
33:6 숙곳에서 발행하여 광야 끝 에담에 진 쳤고
33:6 They traveled from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, which is in the edge of the wilderness.
33:7 에담에서 발행하여 바알스본 앞 비하히롯으로 돌아가서 믹돌 앞에 진 쳤고
33:7 They traveled from Etham, and turned back to Pihahiroth, which is before Baal Zephon: and they encamped before Migdol.
33:8 하히롯 앞에서 발행하여 바다 가운데로 지나 광야에 이르고 에담 광야로 삼 일 길쯤 들어가서 마라에 진 쳤고
33:8 They traveled from before Hahiroth, and passed through the midst of the sea into the wilderness: and they went three days' journey in the wilderness of Etham, and encamped in Marah.
33:9 마라에서 발행하여 엘림에 이르니 엘림에는 샘물 열 둘과 종려 칠십 주가 있으므로 거기 진 쳤고
33:9 They traveled from Marah, and came to Elim: and in Elim were twelve springs of water, and seventy palm trees; and they encamped there.

33:37 They traveled from Kadesh, and encamped in Mount Hor, in the edge of the land of Edom.
33:38 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 나온 지 사십 년 오 월 일 일에 제사장 아론이 여호와의 명으로 호르 산에 올라가 거기서 죽었으니
33:38 Aaron the priest went up into Mount Hor at the commandment of Yahweh, and died there, in the fortieth year after the children of Israel were come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month.
33:39 아론이 호르 산에서 죽던 때에 나이 일백 이십 삼 세이었더라
33:39 Aaron was one hundred twenty-three years old when he died in Mount Hor.
33:40 ○ 가나안 땅 남방에 거한 가나안 사람 아랏 왕이 이스라엘의 옴을 들었더라
33:40 The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the South in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the children of Israel.
33:41 ○ 그들이 호르 산에서 발행하여 살모나에 진 쳤고
33:41 They traveled from Mount Hor, and encamped in Zalmonah.
33:42 살모나에서 발행하여 부논에 진 쳤고
33:42 They traveled from Zalmonah, and encamped in Punon.

33:49 They encamped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth even to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.
33:50 ○ 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
33:50 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
33:51 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 요단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어가거든
33:51 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, "When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
33:52 그 땅 거민을 너희 앞에서 다 몰아내고 그 새긴 석상과 부어 만든 우상을 다 파멸하며 산당을 다 훼파하고
33:52 then you shall drive out all the inhabitants of the land from before you, and destroy all their figured [stones], and destroy all their molten images, and demolish all their high places:
33:53 그 땅을 취하여 거기 거하라 내가 그 땅을 너희 산업으로 너희에게 주었음이라
33:53 and you shall take possession of the land, and dwell therein; for I have given given the land to you to possess it.
33:54 너희의 가족을 따라서 그 땅을 제비 뽑아 나눌 것이니 수가 많으면 많은 기업을 주고 적으면 적은 기업을 주되 각기 제비 뽑힌 대로 그 소유가 될 것인즉 너희 열조의 지파를 따라 기업을 얻을 것이니라
33:54 You shall inherit the land by lot according to your families; to the more you shall give the more inheritance, and to the fewer you shall give the less inheritance: wherever the lot falls to any man, that shall be his. You shall inherit according to the tribes of your fathers.
33:55 너희가 만일 그 땅 거민을 너희 앞에서 몰아내지 아니하면 너희의 남겨 둔 자가 너희의 눈에 가시와 너희의 옆구리에 찌르는 것이 되어 너희 거하는 땅에서 너희를 괴롭게 할 것이요
33:55 But if you do not drive out the inhabitants of the land from before you, then those you let remain of them will be as pricks in your eyes and as thorns in your sides, and they will harass you in the land in which you dwell.
33:56 나는 그들에게 행하기로 생각한 것을 너희에게 행하리라
33:56 It shall happen that as I thought to do to them, so will I do to you."
34:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
34:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
34:2 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 가나안 땅에 들어가는 때에 그 땅은 너희의 기업이 되리니 곧 가나안 사방 지경이라
34:2 Command the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you come into the land of Canaan (this is the land that shall fall to you for an inheritance, even the land of Canaan according to its borders),
34:3 너희 남방은 에돔 곁에 접근한 신 광야니 너희 남편 경계는 동편으로 염해 끝에서 시작하여
34:3 then your south quarter shall be from the wilderness of Zin along by the side of Edom, and your south border shall be from the end of the Salt Sea eastward;
34:4 돌아서 아그랍빔 언덕 남편에 이르고 신을 지나 가데스 바네아 남방에 이르고 또 하살아달을 지나 아스몬에 이르고
34:4 and your border shall turn about southward of the ascent of Akrabbim, and pass along to Zin; and the goings out of it shall be southward of Kadesh Barnea; and it shall go forth to Hazar Addar, and pass along to Azmon;
34:5 아스몬에서 돌아서 애굽 시내를 지나 바다까지 이르느니라
34:5 and the border shall turn about from Azmon to the brook of Egypt, and the goings out of it shall be at the sea.
34:6 ○ 서편 경계는 대해가 경계가 되나니 이는 너희의 서편 경계니라
34:6 'For the western border, you shall have the great sea and the border [of it]: this shall be your west border.
34:7 ○ 북편 경계는 이러하니 대해에서부터 호르 산까지 긋고
34:7 'This shall be your north border: from the great sea you shall mark out for you Mount Hor;
34:8 호르 산에서 그어 하맛 어귀에 이르러 스닷에 미치고
34:8 from Mount Hor you shall mark out to the entrance of Hamath; and the goings out of the border shall be at Zedad;
34:9 그 경계가 또 시브론을 지나 하살에난에 미치나니 이는 너희 북편 경계니라
34:9 and the border shall go forth to Ziphron, and the goings out of it shall be at Hazar Enan: this shall be your north border.
34:10 ○ 너희의 동편 경계는 하살에난에서 그어 스밤에 이르고
34:10 'You shall mark out your east border from Hazar Enan to Shepham;
34:11 그 경계가 또 스밤에서 리블라로 내려가서 아인 동편에 이르고 또 내려가서 긴네렛 동편 해변에 미치고
34:11 and the border shall go down from Shepham to Riblah, on the east side of Ain; and the border shall go down, and shall reach to the side of the sea of Chinnereth eastward;
34:12 그 경계가 또 요단으로 내려가서 염해에 미치나니 너희 땅의 사방 경계가 이러하니라
34:12 and the border shall go down to the Jordan, and the goings out of it shall be at the Salt Sea. This shall be your land according to its borders around it.'"
34:13 ○ 모세가 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 가로되 이는 너희가 제비 뽑아 얻을 땅이라 여호와께서 이것을 아홉 지파와 반 지파에게 주라고 명하셨나니
34:13 Moses commanded the children of Israel, saying, "This is the land which you shall inherit by lot, which Yahweh has commanded to give to the nine tribes, and to the half-tribe;
34:14 이는 르우벤 자손의 지파와 갓 자손의 지파가 함께 그들의 종족대로 그 기업을 받았고 므낫세의 반 지파도 기업을 받았음이라
34:14 for the tribe of the children of Reuben according to their fathers' houses, and the tribe of the children of Gad according to their fathers' houses, have received, and the half-tribe of Manasseh have received, their inheritance:
34:15 이 두 지파와 반 지파가 여리고 맞은편 요단 건너편 곧 해 돋는 편에서 그 기업을 받았느니라
34:15 the two tribes and the half-tribe have received their inheritance beyond the Jordan at Jericho eastward, toward the sunrise."
34:16 ○ 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
34:16 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
34:17 너희에게 땅을 기업으로 나눌 자의 이름이 이러하니 제사장 엘르아살과 눈의 아들 여호수아니라
34:17 These are the names of the men who shall divide the land to you for inheritance: Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun.
34:18 너희는 또 기업의 땅을 나누기 위하여 매 지파에 한 족장씩 택하라
34:18 You shall take one prince of every tribe, to divide the land for inheritance.
34:19 그 사람들의 이름은 이러하니 유다 지파에서는 여분네의 아들 갈렙이요
34:19 These are the names of the men: Of the tribe of Judah, Caleb the son of Jephunneh.
34:20 시므온 지파에서는 암미훗의 아들 스므엘이요
34:20 Of the tribe of the children of Simeon, Shemuel the son of Ammihud.
34:21 베냐민 지파에서는 기슬론의 아들 엘리닷이요
34:21 Of the tribe of Benjamin, Elidad the son of Chislon.
34:22 단 자손 지파의 족장 요글리의 아들 북기요
34:22 Of the tribe of the children of Dan a prince, Bukki the son of Jogli.
34:23 요셉 자손 중 므낫세 자손 지파의 족장 에봇의 아들 한니엘이요
34:23 Of the children of Joseph: of the tribe of the children of Manasseh a prince, Hanniel the son of Ephod.
34:24 에브라임 자손 지파의 족장 십단의 아들 그므엘이요
34:24 Of the tribe of the children of Ephraim a prince, Kemuel the son of Shiphtan.
34:25 스블론 자손 지파의 족장 바르낙의 아들 엘리사반이요
34:25 Of the tribe of the children of Zebulun a prince, Elizaphan the son of Parnach.
34:26 잇사갈 자손 지파의 족장 앗산의 아들 발디엘이요
34:26 Of the tribe of the children of Issachar a prince, Paltiel the son of Azzan.
34:27 아셀 자손 지파의 족장 슬로미의 아들 아히훗이요
34:27 Of the tribe of the children of Asher a prince, Ahihud the son of Shelomi.
34:28 납달리 자손 지파의 족장 암미훗의 아들 브다헬이니라 하셨으니
34:28 Of the tribe of the children of Naphtali a prince, Pedahel the son of Ammihud."
34:29 여호와께서 명하사 가나안 땅에서 이스라엘 자손에게 기업을 나누게 하신 자들이 이러하였더라
34:29 These are they whom Yahweh commanded to divide the inheritance to the children of Israel in the land of Canaan.
35:1 여호와께서 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
35:1 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,
35:2 이스라엘 자손에게 명하여 그들의 얻은 기업에서 레위인에게 거할 성읍들을 주게 하고 너희는 또 그 성읍 사면의 들을 레위인에게 주어서
35:2 Command the children of Israel that they give to the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and you shall give suburbs for the cities around them to the Levites.
35:3 성읍으로는 그들의 거처가 되게 하고 들로는 그들의 가축과 물산과 짐승들을 둘 곳이 되게 할 것이라
35:3 The cities shall they have to dwell in; and their suburbs shall be for their livestock, and for their substance, and for all their animals.
35:4 너희가 레위인에게 줄 성읍들의 들은 성벽에서부터 밖으로 사면 이천 규빗이라
35:4 The suburbs of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall be from the wall of the city and outward one thousand cubits around it.
35:5 성을 중앙에 두고 성 밖 동편으로 이천 규빗, 남편으로 이천 규빗, 서편으로 이천 규빗, 북편으로 이천 규빗을 측량할지니 이는 그들의 성읍의 들이며
35:5 You shall measure outside of the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the midst. This shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.
35:6 너희가 레위인에게 줄 성읍은 살인자로 피케 할 도피성으로 여섯 성읍이요 그 외에 사십 이 성읍이라
35:6 The cities which you shall give to the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the manslayer to flee to: and besides them you shall give forty-two cities.
35:7 너희가 레위인에게 모두 사십 팔 성읍을 주고 그 들도 함께 주되
35:7 All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities together with their suburbs.
35:8 이스라엘 자손의 산업에서 레위인에게 너희가 성읍을 줄 때에 많이 얻은 자에게서는 많이 취하여 주고 적게 얻은 자에게서는 적게 취하여 줄 것이라 각기 얻은 산업을 따라서 그 성읍들을 레위인에게 줄지니라
35:8 Concerning the cities which you shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many you shall take many; and from the few you shall take few: everyone according to his inheritance which he inherits shall give of his cities to the Levites."
35:9 ○ 여호와께서 또 모세에게 일러 가라사대
35:9 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,
35:10 이스라엘 자손에게 말하여 그들에게 이르라 너희가 요단을 건너 가나안 땅에 들어가거든
35:10 Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, 'When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,
35:11 너희를 위하여 성읍을 도피성으로 정하여 그릇 살인한 자로 그리로 피하게 하라
35:11 then you shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the manslayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.
35:12 이는 너희가 보수할 자에게서 도피하는 성을 삼아 살인자가 회중 앞에 서서 판결을 받기까지 죽지 않게 하기 위함이니라
35:12 The cities shall be to you for refuge from the avenger, that the manslayer not die, until he stands before the congregation for judgment.
35:13 너희가 줄 성읍 중에 여섯으로 도피성이 되게 하되
35:13 The cities which you shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.
35:14 세 성읍은 요단 이편에서 주고 세 성읍은 가나안 땅에서 주어 도피성이 되게 하라
35:14 You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and you shall give three cities in the land of Canaan; they shall be cities of refuge.
35:15 이 여섯 성읍은 이스라엘 자손과 타국인과 이스라엘 중에 우거하는 자의 도피성이 되리니 무릇 그릇 살인한 자가 그리로 도피할 수 있으리라
35:15 For the children of Israel, and for the stranger and for the foreigner living among them, shall these six cities be for refuge; that everyone who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.
35:16 ○ 만일 철 연장으로 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이요
35:16 'But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
35:17 만일 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이요
35:17 If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
35:18 만일 사람을 죽일 만한 나무 연장을 손에 들고 사람을 쳐죽이면 이는 고살한 자니 그 고살자를 반드시 죽일 것이니라
35:18 Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.
35:19 피를 보수하는 자가 그 고살자를 친히 죽일 것이니 그를 만나거든 죽일 것이요
35:19 The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death: when he meets him, he shall put him to death.
35:20 만일 미워하는 까닭에 밀쳐 죽이거나 기회를 엿보아 무엇을 던져 죽이거나
35:20 If he thrust him of hatred, or hurled at him, lying in wait, so that he died,
35:21 원한으로 인하여 손으로 쳐죽이면 그 친 자를 반드시 죽일 것이니 이는 고살하였음이라 피를 보수하는 자가 그 고살자를 만나거든 죽일 것이니라
35:21 or in enmity struck him with his hand, so that he died; he who struck him shall surely be put to death; he is a murderer: the avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death, when he meets him.
35:22 ○ 원한 없이 우연히 사람을 밀치거나 기회를 엿봄이 없이 무엇을 던지거나
35:22 'But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or hurled on him anything without lying in wait,
35:23 보지 못하고 사람을 죽일 만한 돌을 던져서 죽였다 하자 이는 원한도 없고 해하려 한 것도 아닌즉
35:23 or with any stone, by which a man may die, not seeing him, and cast it on him, so that he died, and he was not his enemy, neither sought his harm;
35:24 회중이 친 자와 피를 보수하는 자 간에 이 규례대로 판결하여
35:24 then the congregation shall judge between the striker and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances;
35:25 피를 보수하는 자의 손에서 살인자를 건져 내어 그가 피하였던 도피성으로 돌려보낼 것이요 그는 거룩한 기름 부음을 받은 대제사장의 죽기까지 거기 거할 것이니라
35:25 and the congregation shall deliver the manslayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he was fled: and he shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.
35:26 그러나 살인자가 어느 때든지 그 피하였던 도피성 지경 밖에 나갔다 하자
35:26 'But if the manslayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge, where he flees,
35:27 피를 보수하는 자가 도피성 지경 밖에서 그 살인자를 만나 죽일지라도 위하여 피 흘린 죄가 없나니
35:27 and the avenger of blood find him outside of the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kill the manslayer; he shall not be guilty of blood,
35:28 이는 살인자가 대제사장의 죽기까지 그 도피성에 유하였을 것임이라 대제사장의 죽은 후에는 그 살인자가 자기의 산업의 땅으로 돌아갈 수 있느니라
35:28 because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the manslayer shall return into the land of his possession.
35:29 이는 너희 대대로 거하는 곳에서 판단하는 율례라
35:29 'These things shall be for a statute [and] ordinance to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.
35:30 무릇 사람을 죽인 자 곧 고살자를 증인들의 말을 따라서 죽일 것이나 한 증인의 증거만 따라서 죽이지 말 것이요
35:30 'Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain at the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person that he die.
35:31 살인죄를 범한 고살자의 생명의 속전을 받지 말고 반드시 죽일 것이며
35:31 'Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death; but he shall surely be put to death.
35:32 또 도피성에 피한 자를 대제사장의 죽기 전에는 속전을 받고 그의 땅으로 돌아가 거하게 하지 말 것이니라
35:32 'You shall take no ransom for him who is fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.
35:33 너희는 거하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 피는 땅을 더럽히나니 피 흘림을 받은 땅은 이를 흘리게 한 자의 피가 아니면 속할 수 없느니라
35:33 'So you shall not pollute the land in which you are: for blood, it pollutes the land; and no expiation can be made for the land for the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him who shed it.
35:34 너희는 너희 거하는 땅 곧 나의 거하는 땅을 더럽히지 말라 나 여호와가 이스라엘 자손 중에 거함이니라
35:34 You shall not defile the land which you inhabit, in the midst of which I dwell: for I, Yahweh, dwell in the midst of the children of Israel.'"
36:1 요셉 자손의 가족 중 므낫세의 손자 마길의 아들 길르앗 자손 가족의 두령들이 나아와 모세와 이스라엘 자손의 두령 된 족장들 앞에 말하여
36:1 The heads of the fathers' [houses] of the family of the children of Gilead, the son of Machir, the son of Manasseh, of the families of the sons of Joseph, came near, and spoke before Moses, and before the princes, the heads of the fathers' [houses] of the children of Israel:
36:2 가로되 여호와께서 우리 주에게 명하사 이스라엘 자손에게 그 기업의 땅을 제비 뽑아 주게 하셨고 여호와께서 또 우리 주에게 명하사 우리 형제 슬로브핫의 기업으로 그 딸들에게 주게 하셨은즉
36:2 and they said, "Yahweh commanded my lord to give the land for inheritance by lot to the children of Israel: and my lord was commanded by Yahweh to give the inheritance of Zelophehad our brother to his daughters.
36:3 그들이 만일 이스라엘 자손의 다른 지파 남자들에게 시집가면 그들의 기업은 우리 조상의 기업에서 감삭되고 그들의 속할 그 지파의 기업에 첨가되리니 그러면 우리 제비 뽑은 기업에서 감삭될 것이요
36:3 If they are married to any of the sons of the [other] tribes of the children of Israel, then will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of our fathers, and will be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will it be taken away from the lot of our inheritance.
36:4 이스라엘 자손의 희년을 당하여 그 기업이 그가 속한 지파에 첨가될 것이라 그런즉 그들의 기업은 우리 조상 지파의 기업에서 아주 감삭되리이다
36:4 When the jubilee of the children of Israel shall be, then will their inheritance be added to the inheritance of the tribe whereunto they shall belong: so will their inheritance be taken away from the inheritance of the tribe of our fathers."
36:5 ○ 모세가 여호와의 말씀으로 이스라엘에게 명하여 가로되 요셉 자손 지파의 말이 옳도다
36:5 Moses commanded the children of Israel according to the word of Yahweh, saying, "The tribe of the sons of Joseph speaks right.
36:6 슬로브핫의 딸들에게 대한 여호와의 명이 이러하니라 이르시되 슬로브핫의 딸들은 마음대로 시집가려니와 오직 그 조상 지파의 가족에게로만 시집갈지니
36:6 This is the thing which Yahweh does command concerning the daughters of Zelophehad, saying, Let them be married to whom they think best; only into the family of the tribe of their father shall they be married.
36:7 그리하면 이스라엘 자손의 기업이 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기지 않고 이스라엘 자손이 다 각기 조상 지파의 기업을 지킬 것이니라 하셨나니
36:7 So shall no inheritance of the children of Israel remove from tribe to tribe; for the children of Israel shall all keep the inheritance of the tribe of his fathers.
36:8 이스라엘 자손의 지파 중 무릇 그 기업을 이은 딸들은 자기 조상 지파 가족되는 사람에게로 시집 갈 것이라 그리하면 이스라엘 자손이 각기 조상의 기업을 보존하게 되어서
36:8 Every daughter who possesses an inheritance in any tribe of the children of Israel shall be wife to one of the family of the tribe of her father, that the children of Israel may possess every man the inheritance of his fathers.
36:9 그 기업으로 이 지파에서 저 지파로 옮기게 하지 아니하고 이스라엘 자손 지파가 각각 자기 기업을 지키리라
36:9 So shall no inheritance remove from one tribe to another tribe; for the tribes of the children of Israel shall each keep his own inheritance."
36:10 ○ 슬로브핫의 딸들이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 행하니라
36:10 The daughters of Zelophehad did as Yahweh commanded Moses:
36:11 슬로브핫의 딸 말라와 디르사와 호글라와 밀가와 노아가 다 그 아비 형제의 아들들에게로 시집가되
36:11 for Mahlah, Tirzah, and Hoglah, and Milcah, and Noah, the daughters of Zelophehad, were married to their father's brothers' sons.
36:12 그들이 요셉의 아들 므낫세 자손의 가족에게로 시집 간 고로 그 기업이 그 아비 가족의 지파에 여전히 있었더라
36:12 They were married into the families of the sons of Manasseh the son of Joseph; and their inheritance remained in the tribe of the family of their father.
36:13 ○ 이는 여리고 맞은편 요단 가 모압 평지에서 여호와께서 모세로 이스라엘 자손에게 명하신 명령과 규례니라
36:13 These are the commandments and the ordinances which Yahweh commanded by Moses to the children of Israel in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho.
