11:1 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½Ã±â¸¦ ³»°¡ ÀÌÁ¦ ÇÑ °¡Áö Àç¾ÓÀ» ¹Ù·Î¿Í ¾Ö±Á¿¡ ³»¸° ÈÄ¿¡¾ß ±×°¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¿©±â¼­ º¸³¾Áö¶ó ±×°¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ º¸³¾ ¶§¿¡´Â ¿©±â¼­ Á¤³ç ´Ù ÂѾƳ»¸®´Ï
11:1 And the Lord said to Moses, I will send one more punishment on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will let you go; and when he does let you go, he will not keep one of you back, but will send you out by force.
11:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go behind: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out behind altogether.

11:2 So go now and give orders to the people that every man and every woman is to get from his or her neighbour ornaments of silver and of gold.
11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.

11:3 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ±× ¹é¼ºÀ¸·Î ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷ÀÇ ÀºÇý¸¦ ¹Þ°Ô ÇÏ¼Ì°í ¶Ç ±× »ç¶÷ ¸ð¼¼´Â ¾Ö±Á±¹¿¡¼­ ¹Ù·ÎÀÇ ½ÅÇÏ¿Í ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô ½ÉÈ÷ Å©°Ô ºÆ¾ú´õ¶ó
11:3 And the Lord gave the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians. For the man Moses was highly honoured in the land of Egypt, by Pharaoh's servants and the people.
11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

11:4 ¡Û ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¹Ù·Î¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ¸»¾¸ÇϽñ⸦ ¹ãÁß¿¡ ³»°¡ ¾Ö±Á °¡¿îµ¥·Î µé¾î°¡¸®´Ï
11:4 And Moses said, This is what the Lord says: About the middle of the night I will go out through Egypt:
11:4 And Moses said, Thus says the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

11:5 ¾Ö±Á °¡¿îµ¥ óÀ½ ³­ °ÍÀº À§¿¡ ¾ÉÀº ¹Ù·ÎÀÇ ÀåÀڷκÎÅÍ ¸Ëµ¹ µÚ¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ¿©Á¾ÀÇ ÀåÀÚ±îÁö¿Í ¸ðµç »ýÃàÀÇ Ã³À½ ³­ °ÍÀÌ Á×À»Áö¶ó
11:5 And death will come to every mother's first male child in all the land of Egypt, from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power, to the child of the servant-girl crushing the grain; and the first births of all the cattle.
11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

11:6 ¾Ö±Á Àü±¹¿¡ Àü¹«ÈĹ«ÇÑ Å« °î¼ºÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸®¶ó
11:6 And there will be a great cry through all the land of Egypt, such as never has been or will be again.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

11:7 ±×·¯³ª À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼Õ¿¡°Ô´Â »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô³ª Áü½Â¿¡°Ô³ª °³µµ ±× Çô¸¦ ¿òÁ÷ÀÌÁö ¾ÊÀ¸¸®´Ï ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷°ú À̽º¶ó¿¤ »çÀÌ¿¡ ±¸º°ÇÏ´Â ÁÙÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾Ë¸®¶ó Çϼ̳ª´Ï
11:7 But against the children of Israel, man or beast, not so much as the tongue of a dog will be moved: so that you may see how the Lord makes a division between Israel and the Egyptians.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that all of you may know how that the LORD does put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

11:8 ¿ÕÀÌ ÀÌ ¸ðµç ½ÅÇÏ°¡ ³»°Ô ³»·Á¿Í¼­ ³»°Ô ÀýÇϸç À̸£±â¸¦ ³Ê¿Í ³Ê¸¦ ÁÀ´Â ¿Â ¹é¼ºÀº ³ª°¡¶ó ÇÑ ÈÄ¿¡¾ß ³»°¡ ³ª°¡¸®¶ó ÇÏ°í ½ÉÈ÷ ³ëÇÏ¿© ¹Ù·Î¿¡°Ô¼­ ³ª¿À´Ï¶ó
11:8 And all these your servants will come to me, going down on their faces before me and saying, Go out, and all your people with you: and after that I will go out. And he went away from Pharaoh burning with wrath.
11:8 And all these your servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get you out, and all the people that follow you: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

11:9 ¡Û ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½Ã±â¸¦ ¹Ù·Î°¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ µèÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÒÁö¶ó ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³»°¡ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡¼­ ³ªÀÇ ±â»ç¸¦ ´õÇϸ®¶ó Çϼ̰í
11:9 And the Lord said to Moses, Pharaoh will not give ear to you, so that my wonders may be increased in the land of Egypt.
11:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

11:10 ¸ð¼¼¿Í ¾Æ·ÐÀÌ ÀÌ ¸ðµç ±â»ç¸¦ ¹Ù·Î ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ÇàÇÏ¿´À¸³ª ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¹Ù·ÎÀÇ ¸¶À½À» °­ÆÚÄÉ ÇϼÌÀ¸¹Ç·Î ±×°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀ» ±× ³ª¶ó¿¡¼­ º¸³»Áö ¾Æ´ÏÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
11:10 All these wonders Moses and Aaron did before Pharaoh: but the Lord made Pharaoh's heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
11:10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

12:1 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿Í ¾Æ·Ð¿¡°Ô ÀÏ·¯ °¡¶ó»ç´ë
12:1 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
12:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,

12:2 ÀÌ ´Þ·Î ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ´ÞÀÇ ½ÃÀÛ °ð ÇØÀÇ Ã¹ ´ÞÀÌ µÇ°Ô ÇÏ°í
12:2 Let this month be to you the first of months, the first month of the year.
12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

12:3 ³ÊÈñ´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ ȸÁß¿¡°Ô °íÇÏ¿© À̸£¶ó ÀÌ ´Þ ¿­Èê¿¡ ³ÊÈñ ¸ÅÀÎÀÌ ¾î¸° ¾çÀ» ÃëÇÒÁö´Ï °¢ °¡Á·´ë·Î ±× ½Ä±¸¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ¾î¸° ¾çÀ» ÃëÇϵÇ
12:3 Say to all the children of Israel when they are come together, In the tenth day of this month every man is to take a lamb, by the number of their fathers' families, a lamb for every family:
12:3 Speak all of you unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

12:4 ±× ¾î¸° ¾ç¿¡ ´ëÇÏ¿© ½Ä±¸°¡ ³Ê¹« ÀûÀ¸¸é ±× ÁýÀÇ ÀÌ¿ô°ú ÇÔ²² Àμö¸¦ µû¶ó¼­ Çϳª¸¦ ÃëÇÏ¸ç °¢ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ½Ä·®À» µû¶ó¼­ ³ÊÈñ ¾î¸° ¾çÀ» °è»êÇÒ °ÍÀ̸ç
12:4 And if the lamb is more than enough for the family, let that family and its nearest neighbour have a lamb between them, taking into account the number of persons and how much food is needed for every man.
12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

12:5 ³ÊÈñ ¾î¸° ¾çÀº Èì ¾ø°í ÀÏ ³â µÈ ¼öÄÆÀ¸·Î Ç쵂 ¾çÀ̳ª ¿°¼Ò Áß¿¡¼­ ÃëÇÏ°í
12:5 Let your lamb be without a mark, a male in its first year: you may take it from among the sheep or the goats:
12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: all of you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

12:6 ÀÌ ´Þ ½Ê »ç ÀϱîÁö °£Á÷ÇÏ¿´´Ù°¡ ÇØÁú ¶§¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ȸÁßÀÌ ±× ¾çÀ» Àâ°í
12:6 Keep it till the fourteenth day of the same month, when everyone who is of the children of Israel is to put it to death between sundown and dark.
12:6 And all of you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

12:7 ±× ÇÇ·Î ¾çÀ» ¸ÔÀ» Áý ¹® ÁÂ¿ì ¼³ÁÖ¿Í Àι濡 ¹Ù¸£°í
12:7 Then take some of the blood and put it on the two sides of the door and over the door of the house where the meal is to be taken.
12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

12:8 ±× ¹ã¿¡ ±× °í±â¸¦ ºÒ¿¡ ±¸¿ö ¹«±³º´°ú ¾´ ³ª¹°°ú ¾Æ¿ï·¯ ¸ÔµÇ
12:8 And let your food that night be the flesh of the lamb, cooked with fire in the oven, together with unleavened bread and bitter-tasting plants.
12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

12:9 ³¯·Î³ª ¹°¿¡ »î¾Æ¼­³ª ¸ÔÁö ¸»°í ±× ¸Ó¸®¿Í Á¤°­ÀÌ¿Í ³»ÀåÀ» ´Ù ºÒ¿¡ ±¸¿ö ¸Ô°í
12:9 Do not take it uncooked or cooked with boiling water, but let it be cooked in the oven; its head with its legs and its inside parts.
12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the inwards thereof.

12:10 ¾Æħ±îÁö ³²°ÜµÎÁö ¸»¸ç ¾Æħ±îÁö ³²Àº °ÍÀº °ð ¼ÒÈ­Ç϶ó
12:10 Do not keep any of it till the morning; anything which is not used is to be burned with fire.
12:10 And all of you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning all of you shall burn with fire.

12:11 ³ÊÈñ´Â ±×°ÍÀ» ÀÌ·¸°Ô ¸ÔÀ»Áö´Ï Ç㸮¿¡ ¶ì¸¦ ¶ì°í ¹ß¿¡ ½ÅÀ» ½Å°í ¼Õ¿¡ ÁöÆÎÀ̸¦ Àâ°í ±ÞÈ÷ ¸ÔÀ¸¶ó ÀÌ°ÍÀÌ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ À¯¿ùÀýÀ̴϶ó
12:11 And take your meal dressed as if for a journey, with your shoes on your feet and your sticks in your hands: take it quickly: it is the Lord's Passover.
12:11 And thus shall all of you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and all of you shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.

12:12 ³»°¡ ±× ¹ã¿¡ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡ µÎ·ç ´Ù´Ï¸ç »ç¶÷°ú Áü½ÂÀ» ¹«·ÐÇÏ°í ¾Ö±Á ³ª¶ó °¡¿îµ¥ óÀ½ ³­ °ÍÀ» ´Ù Ä¡°í ¾Ö±ÁÀÇ ¸ðµç ½Å¿¡°Ô ¹úÀ» ³»¸®¸®¶ó ³ª´Â ¿©È£¿Í·Î¶ó
12:12 For on that night I will go through the land of Egypt, sending death on every first male child, of man and of beast, and judging all the gods of Egypt: I am the Lord.
12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

12:13 ³»°¡ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥À» Ä¥ ¶§¿¡ ±× ÇÇ°¡ ³ÊÈñÀÇ °ÅÇÏ´Â Áý¿¡ À־ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© Ç¥ÀûÀÌ µÉÁö¶ó ³»°¡ ÇǸ¦ º¼ ¶§¿¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ³Ñ¾î°¡¸®´Ï Àç¾ÓÀÌ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ³»·Á ¸êÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
12:13 And the blood will be a sign on the houses where you are: when I see the blood I will go over you, and no evil will come on you for your destruction, when my hand is on the land of Egypt.
12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where all of you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

12:14 ³ÊÈñ´Â ÀÌ ³¯À» ±â³äÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ Àý±â¸¦ »ï¾Æ ¿µ¿øÇÑ ±Ô·Ê·Î ´ë´ë¿¡ ÁöųÁö´Ï¶ó
12:14 And this day is to be kept in your memories: you are to keep it as a feast to the Lord through all your generations, as an order for ever.
12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and all of you shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; all of you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

12:15 ¡Û ³ÊÈñ´Â Ä¥ ÀÏ µ¿¾È ¹«±³º´À» ¸ÔÀ»Áö´Ï ±× ù³¯¿¡ ´©·èÀ» ³ÊÈñ Áý¿¡¼­ Á¦ÇÏ¶ó ¹«¸© ù³¯ºÎÅÍ Ä¥ ÀϱîÁö À¯±³º´À» ¸Ô´Â ÀÚ´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡¼­ ²÷ÃÄÁö¸®¶ó
12:15 For seven days let your food be unleavened bread; from the first day no leaven is to be seen in your houses: whoever takes bread with leaven in it, from the first till the seventh day, will be cut off from Israel.
12:15 Seven days shall all of you eat unleavened bread; even the first day all of you shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

12:16 ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ù³¯¿¡µµ ¼ºÈ¸¿ä Á¦ Ä¥ ÀÏ¿¡µµ ¼ºÈ¸°¡ µÇ¸®´Ï ÀÌ µÎ ³¯¿¡´Â ¾Æ¹« Àϵµ ÇÏÁö ¸»°í °¢ÀÎÀÇ ½Ä¹°¸¸ ³ÊÈñ°¡ °®Ãâ °ÍÀ̴϶ó
12:16 And on the first day there is to be a holy meeting and on the seventh day a holy meeting; no sort of work may be done on those days but only to make ready what is necessary for everyone's food.
12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

12:17 ³ÊÈñ´Â ¹«±³ÀýÀ» ÁöÅ°¶ó ÀÌ ³¯¿¡ ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ ±º´ë¸¦ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¾úÀ½À̴϶ó ±×·¯¹Ç·Î ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿µ¿øÇÑ ±Ô·Ê¸¦ »ï¾Æ ÀÌ ³¯À» ´ë´ë·Î ÁöųÁö´Ï¶ó
12:17 So keep the feast of unleavened bread; for on this very day I have taken your armies out of the land of Egypt: this day, then, is to be kept through all your generations by an order for ever.
12:17 And all of you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this very same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall all of you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

12:18 Á¤¿ù¿¡ ±× ´Þ ½Ê »ç ÀÏ Àú³áºÎÅÍ ÀÌ½Ê ÀÏ ÀÏ Àú³á±îÁö ³ÊÈñ´Â ¹«±³º´À» ¸ÔÀ» °ÍÀÌ¿ä
12:18 In the first month, from the evening of the fourteenth day, let your food be unleavened bread till the evening of the twenty-first day of the month.
12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, all of you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

12:19 Ä¥ ÀÏ µ¿¾ÈÀº ´©·èÀ» ³ÊÈñ Áý¿¡ ÀÖÁö ¾Ê°Ô ÇÏ¶ó ¹«¸© À¯±³¹°À» ¸Ô´Â Àڴ Ÿ±¹ÀÎÀ̵çÁö º»±¹¿¡¼­ ³­ ÀÚµçÁö ¹«·ÐÇÏ°í À̽º¶ó¿¤ ȸÁß¿¡¼­ ²÷ÃÄÁö¸®´Ï
12:19 For seven days no leaven is to be seen in your houses: for whoever takes bread which is leavened will be cut off from the people of Israel, if he is from another country or if he is an Israelite by birth.
12:19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eats that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

12:20 ³ÊÈñ´Â ¾Æ¹« À¯±³¹°À̵çÁö ¸ÔÁö ¸»°í ³ÊÈñ ¸ðµç À¯ÇÏ´Â °÷¿¡¼­ ¹«±³º´À» ¸ÔÀ»Áö´Ï¶ó
12:20 Take nothing which has leaven in it; wherever you are living let your food be unleavened cakes.
12:20 All of you shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall all of you eat unleavened bread.

12:21 ¡Û ¸ð¼¼°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¸ðµç Àå·Î¸¦ ºÒ·¯¼­ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ´Â ³ª°¡¼­ ³ÊÈñ °¡Á·´ë·Î ¾î¸° ¾çÀ» ÅÃÇÏ¿© À¯¿ùÀý ¾çÀ¸·Î Àâ°í
12:21 Then Moses sent for the chiefs of Israel, and said to them, See that lambs are marked out for yourselves and your families, and let the Passover lamb be put to death.
12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

12:22 ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿ì½½ÃÊ ¹­À½À» ÃëÇÏ¿© ±×¸©¿¡ ´ãÀº ÇÇ¿¡ Àû½Ã¾î¼­ ±× ÇǸ¦ ¹® Àιæ°ú ÁÂ¿ì ¼³ÁÖ¿¡ »Ñ¸®°í ¾Æħ±îÁö ÇÑ »ç¶÷µµ ÀÚ±â Áý ¹® ¹Û¿¡ ³ª°¡Áö ¸»¶ó
12:22 And take some hyssop and put it in the blood in the basin, touching the two sides and the top of the doorway with the blood from the basin; and let not one of you go out of his house till the morning.
12:22 And all of you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

12:23 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷À» Ä¡·¯ µÎ·ç ´Ù´Ï½Ç ¶§¿¡ ¹® Àιæ°ú ÁÂ¿ì ¼³ÁÖÀÇ ÇǸ¦ º¸½Ã¸é ±× ¹®À» ³ÑÀ¸½Ã°í ¸êÇÏ´Â ÀÚ·Î ³ÊÈñ Áý¿¡ µé¾î°¡¼­ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ Ä¡Áö ¸øÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ½Ç °ÍÀÓÀ̴϶ó
12:23 For the Lord will go through the land, sending death on the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood on the two sides and the top of the door, the Lord will go over your door and will not let death come in for your destruction.
12:23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to strike you.

12:24 ³ÊÈñ´Â ÀÌ ÀÏÀ» ±Ô·Ê·Î »ï¾Æ ³ÊÈñ¿Í ³ÊÈñ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ¿µ¿øÈ÷ Áöų °ÍÀÌ´Ï
12:24 And you are to keep this as an order to you and to your sons for ever.
12:24 And all of you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever.

12:25 ³ÊÈñ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ Çã¶ôÇϽŠ´ë·Î ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô Áֽô ¶¥¿¡ À̸¦ ¶§¿¡ ÀÌ ¿¹½ÄÀ» Áöų °ÍÀ̶ó
12:25 And when you come into the land which the Lord will make yours, as he gave his word, you are to keep this act of worship.
12:25 And it shall come to pass, when all of you be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he has promised, that all of you shall keep this service.

12:26 And when your children say to you, What is the reason of this act of worship?
12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean all of you by this service?

12:27 Then you will say, This is the offering of the Lord's Passover; for he went over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he sent death on the Egyptians, and kept our families safe. And the people gave worship with bent heads.
12:27 That all of you shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he stroke the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

12:28 And the children of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had given orders to Moses and Aaron, so they did.

12:29 And in the middle of the night the Lord sent death on every first male child in the land of Egypt, from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power to the child of the prisoner in the prison; and the first births of all the cattle.
12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD stroke all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

12:30 Then Pharaoh got up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians; and a great cry went up from Egypt; for there was not a house where someone was not dead.
12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

12:31 And he sent for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Get up and go out from among my people, you and the children of Israel; go and give worship to the Lord as you have said.
12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both all of you and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as all of you have said.

12:32 And take your flocks and your herds as you have said, and be gone; and give me your blessing.

12:33 And the Egyptians were forcing the people on, to get them out of the land quickly; for they said, We are all dead men.
12:33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

12:39 And they made unleavened cakes from the paste which they had taken out of Egypt; it was not leavened, for they had been sent out of Egypt so quickly, that they had no time to make any food ready.
12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

12:42 It is a watch-night before the Lord who took them out of the land of Egypt: this same night is a watch-night to the Lord for all the children of Israel, through all their generations.
12:42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

12:44 But every man's servant, whom he has got for money, may take of it, when he has had circumcision.

12:45 A man from a strange country living among you, and a servant working for payment, may not take part in it.

12:46 It is to be taken in one house; not a bit of the flesh is to be taken out of the house, and no bone of it may be broken.
12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall all of you break a bone thereof.

12:48 And if a man from another country is living with you, and has a desire to keep the Passover to the Lord, let all the males of his family undergo circumcision, and then let him come near and keep it; for he will then be as one of your people; but no one without circumcision may keep it.
12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

12:49 The law is the same for him who is an Israelite by birth and for the man from a strange country who is living with you.
12:49 One law shall be to him that is native, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.

12:50 So the children of Israel did as the Lord gave orders to Moses and Aaron.
12:50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

13:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
13:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

13:2 Let the first male child of every mother among the children of Israel be kept holy for me, even the first male birth among man or beast; for it is mine.
13:2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

13:3 And Moses said to the people, Let this day, on which you came out of Egypt, out of your prison-house, be kept for ever in memory; for by the strength of his hand the Lord has taken you out from this place; let no leavened bread be used.
13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which all of you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

13:4 On this day, in the month Abib, you are going out.

13:5 And it will be that, when the Lord takes you into the land of the Canaanite and the Hittite and the Amorite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, the land which he made an oath to your fathers that he would give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, you will do this act of worship in this month.
13:5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore unto your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.

13:6 Ä¥ ÀÏ µ¿¾È ¹«±³º´À» ¸Ô°í Á¦ Ä¥ ÀÏ¿¡´Â ¿©È£¿Í²² Àý±â¸¦ ÁöÅ°¶ó
13:6 For seven days let your food be unleavened cakes; and on the seventh day there is to be a feast to the Lord.
13:6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

13:7 Ä¥ ÀÏ µ¿¾È¿¡´Â ¹«±³º´À» ¸Ô°í À¯±³º´À» ³ÊÈñ °÷¿¡ ÀÖ°Ô ÇÏÁö ¸»¸ç ³× Áö°æ ¾È¿¡¼­ ´©·èÀ» ³×°Ô º¸ÀÌÁöµµ ¸»°Ô Çϸç
13:7 Unleavened cakes are to be your food through all the seven days; let no leavened bread be seen among you, or any leaven, in any part of your land.
13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters.

13:8 ³Ê´Â ±× ³¯¿¡ ³× ¾Æµé¿¡°Ô ºÆ¾î À̸£±â¸¦ ÀÌ ¿¹½ÄÀº ³»°¡ ¾Ö±Á¿¡¼­ ³ª¿Ã ¶§¿¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ª¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ÇàÇϽŠÀÏÀ» ÀÎÇÔÀ̶ó ÇÏ°í
13:8 And you will say to your son in that day, It is because of what the Lord did for me when I came out of Egypt.
13:8 And you shall show your son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

13:9 ÀÌ°ÍÀ¸·Î ³× ¼ÕÀÇ ±âÈ£¿Í ³× ¹Ì°£ÀÇ Ç¥¸¦ »ï°í ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ À²¹ýÀ¸·Î ³× ÀÔ¿¡ ÀÖ°Ô Ç϶ó ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ´ÉÇϽŠ¼ÕÀ¸·Î ³Ê¸¦ ¾Ö±Á¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¼ÌÀ½ÀÌ´Ï
13:9 And this will be for a sign to you on your hand and for a mark on your brow, so that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand the Lord took you out of Egypt.
13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto you upon yours hand, and for a memorial between yours eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

13:10 So let this order be kept, at the right time, from year to year.
13:10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

13:11 And when the Lord takes you into the land of Canaan, as he made his oath to you and to your fathers, and gives it to you,
13:11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore unto you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,

13:12 ³Ê´Â ¹«¸© ÃÊÅ»ý°ú ³×°Ô ÀÖ´Â »ýÃàÀÇ ÃÊÅ»ýÀ» ´Ù ±¸º°ÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í²² µ¹¸®¶ó ¼öÄÆÀº ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ °ÍÀ̴϶ó
13:12 You are to put on one side for the Lord every mother's first male child, the first-fruit of her body, and the first young one of every beast; every male is holy to the Lord.
13:12 That you shall set apart unto the LORD all that opens the womb, and every first born that comes of a beast which you have; the males shall be the LORD's.

13:13 And for the young of an ass you may give a lamb in payment, or if you will not make payment for it, its neck is to be broken; but for all the first sons among your children, let payment be made.
13:13 And every first born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children shall you redeem.

13:14 And when your son says to you in time to come, What is the reason for this? say to him, By the strength of his hand the Lord took us out of Egypt, out of the prison-house:
13:14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? that you shall say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

13:15 And when Pharaoh made his heart hard and would not let us go, the Lord sent death on all the first sons in Egypt, of man and of beast: and so every first male who comes to birth is offered to the Lord; but for all the first of my sons I give a price.
13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

13:16 And this will be for a sign on your hand and for a mark on your brow: for by the strength of his hand the Lord took us out of Egypt.
13:16 And it shall be for a token upon yours hand, and for frontlets between yours eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

13:17 Now after Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not take them through the land of the Philistines, though that was near: for God said, If the people see war, they may have a change of heart and go back to Egypt.
13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest possibly the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

13:18 But God took the people round by the waste land near the Red Sea: and the children of Israel went up in fighting order out of the land of Egypt.
13:18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph had made the children of Israel take an oath, saying, God will certainly keep you in mind; and you are to take my bones away with you.
13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had strictly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and all of you shall carry up my bones away behind with you.

13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, guiding them on their way; and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light: so that they were able to go on day and night:

14:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
14:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

14:2 Give orders to the children of Israel to go back and put up their tents before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon, opposite to which you are to put up your tents by the sea.
14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite to Baalzephon: before it shall all of you camp by the sea.

14:3 And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are wandering without direction, they are shut in by the waste land.
14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness has shut them in.

14:4 And I will make Pharaoh's heart hard, and he will come after them and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and all his army, so that the Egyptians may see that I am the Lord. And they did so.
14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

14:5 And word came to Pharaoh of the flight of the people: and the feeling of Pharaoh and of his servants about the people was changed, and they said, Why have we let Israel go, so that they will do no more work for us?
14:5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

14:6 So he had his war-carriage made ready and took his people with him:

14:7 And he took six hundred carriages, all the carriages of Egypt, and captains over all of them.
14:7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

14:8 And the Lord made the heart of Pharaoh hard, and he went after the children of Israel: for the children of Israel had gone out without fear.
14:8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

14:9 But the Egyptians went after them, all the horses and carriages of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them in their tents by the sea, by Pihahiroth, before Baal-zephon.
14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

14:10 ¡Û ¹Ù·Î°¡ °¡±î¿Í ¿Ã ¶§¿¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ´«À» µé¾î º»Áï ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷µéÀÌ Àڱ⠵ڿ¡ ¹ÌÄ£Áö¶ó À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ½ÉÈ÷ µÎ·Á¿öÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢°í
14:10 And when Pharaoh came near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the Egyptians coming after them, and were full of fear; and their cry went up to God.
14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

14:11 And they said to Moses, Was there no resting-place for the dead in Egypt, that you have taken us away to come to our death in the waste land? why have you taken us out of Egypt?
14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore have you dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

14:12 Did we not say to you in Egypt, Let us be as we are, working for the Egyptians? for it is better to be the servants of the Egyptians than to come to our death in the waste land.
14:12 Is not this the word that we did tell you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

14:13 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ´Â µÎ·Á¿ö ¸»°í °¡¸¸È÷ ¼­¼­ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¿À´Ã³¯ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ÇàÇϽô ±¸¿øÀ» º¸¶ó ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿À´Ã º» ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷À» ¶Ç ´Ù½Ã´Â ¿µ¿øÈ÷ º¸Áö ¸øÇϸ®¶ó
14:13 But Moses said, Keep where you are and have no fear; now you will see the salvation of the Lord which he will give you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you will never see again.
14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear all of you not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom all of you have seen to day, all of you shall see them again no more for ever.

14:14 The Lord will make war for you, you have only to keep quiet.
14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and all of you shall hold your peace.

14:15 And the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? give the children of Israel the order to go forward.
14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore cry you unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

14:16 And let your rod be lifted up and your hand stretched out over the sea, and it will be parted in two; and the children of Israel will go through on dry land.
14:16 But lift you up your rod, and stretch out yours hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

14:17 ³»°¡ ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷µéÀÇ ¸¶À½À» °­ÆÚÄÉ ÇÒ °ÍÀÎÁï ±×µéÀÌ ±× µÚ¸¦ µû¶ó µé¾î°¥ °ÍÀÌ¶ó ³»°¡ ¹Ù·Î¿Í ±× ¸ðµç ±º´ë¿Í ±× º´°Å¿Í ¸¶º´À» ÀÎÇÏ¿© ¿µ±¤À» ¾òÀ¸¸®´Ï
14:17 And I will make the heart of the Egyptians hard, and they will go in after them: and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and over his army, his war-carriages, and his horsemen.
14:17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:18 ³»°¡ ¹Ù·Î¿Í ±× º´°Å¿Í ¸¶º´À¸·Î ÀÎÇÏ¿© ¿µ±¤À» ¾òÀ» ¶§¿¡¾ß ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷µéÀÌ ³ª¸¦ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÎ ÁÙ ¾Ë¸®¶ó ÇϽôõ´Ï
14:18 And the Egyptians will see that I am the Lord, when I get honour over Pharaoh and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have got me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:19 Then the angel of God, who had been before the tents of Israel, took his place at their back; and the pillar of cloud, moving from before them, came to rest at their back:
14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

14:20 ¾Ö±Á Áø°ú À̽º¶ó¿¤ Áø »çÀÌ¿¡ À̸£·¯ ¼­´Ï Àú ÆíÀº ±¸¸§°ú Èæ¾ÏÀÌ ÀÖ°í ÀÌ ÆíÀº ¹ãÀÌ ±¤¸íÇϹǷΠ¹ã»õµµ·Ï Àú ÆíÀÌ ÀÌ Æí¿¡ °¡±îÀÌ ¸øÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
14:20 And it came between the army of Egypt and the army of Israel; and there was a dark cloud between them, and they went on through the night; but the one army came no nearer to the other all the night.
14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

14:21 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, the Lord with a strong east wind made the sea go back all night, and the waters were parted in two and the sea became dry land.
14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

14:22 And the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land: and the waters were a wall on their right side and on their left.
14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:23 Then the Egyptians went after them into the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

14:24 And in the morning watch, the Lord, looking out on the armies of the Egyptians from the pillar of fire and cloud, sent trouble on the army of the Egyptians;
14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

14:25 And made the wheels of their war-carriages stiff, so that they had hard work driving them: so the Egyptians said, Let us go in flight from before the face of Israel, for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.
14:25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.

14:26 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out over the sea, and the waters will come back again on the Egyptians, and on their war-carriages and on their horsemen.
14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out yours hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

14:27 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, at dawn the sea came flowing back, meeting the Egyptians in their flight, and the Lord sent destruction on the Egyptians in the middle of the sea.
14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

14:28 And the waters came back, covering the war-carriages and the horsemen and all the army of Pharaoh which went after them into the middle of the sea; not one of them was to be seen.
14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

14:29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:30 So that day the Lord gave Israel salvation from the hands of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the sea's edge.
14:30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

14:31 And Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done against the Egyptians, and the fear of the Lord came on the people and they had faith in the Lord and in his servant Moses.
14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.

15:1 Then Moses and the children of Israel made this song to the Lord, and said, I will make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory: the horse and the horseman he has sent down into the sea.
15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD, and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.

15:2 The Lord is my strength and my strong helper, he has become my salvation: he is my God and I will give him praise; my father's God and I will give him glory.
15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.

15:4 Pharaoh's war-carriages and his army he has sent down into the sea: the best of his captains have gone down into the Red Sea.
15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen captains also are drowned in the Red sea.

15:5 They were covered by the deep waters: like a stone they went down under the waves.
15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.

15:6 Full of glory, O Lord, is the power of your right hand; by your right hand those who came against you are broken.
15:6 Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand, O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.

15:7  ÁÖ²²¼­ ÁÖÀÇ Å« À§¾öÀ¸·Î ÁÖ¸¦ °Å½º¸®´Â ÀÚ¸¦ ¾þÀ¸½Ã³ªÀÌ´Ù ÁÖ²²¼­ Áø³ë¸¦ ¹ßÇÏ½Ã´Ï ±× Áø³ë°¡ ±×µéÀ» ÃÊ°³ °°ÀÌ »ç¸£´ÏÀÌ´Ù
15:7 When you are lifted up in power, all those who come against you are crushed: when you send out your wrath, they are burned up like dry grass.
15:7 And in the greatness of yours excellency you have overthrown them that rose up against you: you sent forth your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.

15:8  ÁÖÀÇ Äà±è¿¡ ¹°ÀÌ ½×ÀÌµÇ Æĵµ°¡ ¾ð´ö °°ÀÌ ÀϾ°í Å« ¹°ÀÌ ¹Ù´Ù °¡¿îµ¥ ¾û±â´ÏÀÌ´Ù
15:8 By your breath the waves were massed together, the flowing waters were lifted up like a pillar; the deep waters became solid in the heart of the sea.
15:8 And with the blast of your nostrils the waters were gathered together, the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart of the sea.

15:9  ´ëÀûÀÇ ¸»ÀÌ ³»°¡ ÂÑ¾Æ ¹ÌÃÄ Å»Ãë¹°À» ³ª´©¸®¶ó ³»°¡ ±×µé·Î ÀÎÇÏ¿© ³» ¸¶À½À» ä¿ì¸®¶ó ³»°¡ ³» Ä®À» »©¸®´Ï ³» ¼ÕÀÌ ±×µéÀ» ¸êÇϸ®¶ó ÇÏ¿´À¸³ª
15:9 Egypt said, I will go after them, I will overtake, I will make division of their goods: my desire will have its way with them; my sword will be uncovered, my hand will send destruction on them.
15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil; my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy them.

15:10 You sent your wind and the sea came over them: they went down like lead into the great waters.
15:10 You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead in the mighty waters.

15:11 Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? who is like you, in holy glory, to be praised with fear, doing wonders?
15:11 Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?

15:12 When your right hand was stretched out, the mouth of the earth was open for them.
15:12 You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.

15:13 In your mercy you went before the people whom you have made yours; guiding them in your strength to your holy place.
15:13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed: you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.

15:14 Hearing of you the peoples were shaking in fear: the people of Philistia were gripped with pain.
15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the inhabitants of Palestina.

15:15  ¿¡µ¼ ¹æ¹éÀÌ ³î¶ó°í ¸ð¾Ð ¿µ¿õÀÌ ¶³¸²¿¡ ÀâÈ÷¸ç °¡³ª¾È °Å¹ÎÀÌ ´Ù ³«´ãÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
15:15 The chiefs of Edom were troubled in heart; the strong men of Moab were in the grip of fear: all the people of Canaan became like water.
15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.

15:16  ³î¶÷°ú µÎ·Á¿òÀÌ ±×µé¿¡°Ô ¹ÌÄ¡¸Å ÁÖÀÇ ÆÈÀÌ Å­À» ÀÎÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÌ µ¹ °°ÀÌ °í¿äÇÏ¿´»ç¿ÀµÇ ¿©È£¿Í¿© ÁÖÀÇ ¹é¼ºÀÌ Åë°úÇϱâ±îÁö °ð ÁÖÀÇ »ç½Å ¹é¼ºÀÌ Åë°úÇϱâ±îÁö¿´³ªÀÌ´Ù
15:16 Fear and grief came on them; by the strength of your arm they were turned to stone; till your people went over, O Lord, till the people went over whom you have made yours.
15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of yours arm they shall be as still as a stone; till your people pass over, O LORD, till the people pass over, which you have purchased.

15:17 You will take them in, planting them in the mountain of your heritage, the place, O Lord, where you have made your house, the holy place, O Lord, the building of your hands.
15:17 You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of yours inheritance, in the place, O LORD, which you have made for you to dwell in, in the Sanctuary, O LORD, which your hands have established.

15:18 The Lord is King for ever and ever.
15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.

15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh, with his war-carriages and his horsemen, went into the sea, and the Lord sent the waters of the sea back over them; but the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land.
15:19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.

15:20 ¾Æ·ÐÀÇ ´©ÀÌ ¼±ÁöÀÚ ¹Ì¸®¾ÏÀÌ ¼Õ¿¡ ¼Ò°í¸¦ ÀâÀ¸¸Å ¸ðµç ¿©Àεµ ±×¸¦ µû¶ó ³ª¿À¸ç ¼Ò°í¸¦ Àâ°í ÃãÃß´Ï
15:20 And Miriam, the woman prophet, the sister of Aaron, took an instrument of music in her hand; and all the women went after her with music and dances.
15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.

15:21 And Miriam, answering, said, Make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory; the horse and the horseman he has sent into the sea.
15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing all of you to the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously; the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.

15:22 Then Moses took Israel forward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the waste land of Shur; and for three days they were in the waste land where there was no water.
15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no water.

15:23 And when they came to Marah, the water was no good for drinking, for the waters of Marah were bitter, which is why it was named Marah.
15:23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

15:24 And the people, crying out against Moses, said, What are we to have for drink?
15:24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?

15:25 And in answer to his prayer, the Lord made him see a tree, and when he put it into the water, the water was made sweet. There he gave them a law and an order, testing them;
15:25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,

15:26 And he said, If with all your heart you will give attention to the voice of the Lord your God, and do what is right in his eyes, giving ear to his orders and keeping his laws, I will not put on you any of the diseases which I put on the Egyptians: for I am the Lord your life-giver.
15:26 And said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.

15:27 And they came to Elim where there were twelve water-springs and seventy palm-trees: and they put up their tents there by the waters.
15:27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.

16:1 And they went on their way from Elim, and all the children of Israel came into the waste land of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after they went out of the land of Egypt.
16:1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of the land of Egypt.

16:2 And all the children of Israel were crying out against Moses and Aaron in the waste land:
16:2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:

16:3 ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿ì¸®°¡ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡¼­ °í±â °¡¸¶ °ç¿¡ ¾É¾Ò´ø ¶§¿Í ¶±À» ¹èºÒ¸® ¸Ô´ø ¶§¿¡ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡ Á×¾ú´õ¸é ÁÁ¾ÒÀ» °ÍÀ» ³ÊÈñ°¡ ÀÌ ±¤¾ß·Î ¿ì¸®¸¦ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¾î ÀÌ ¿Â ȸÁßÀ¸·Î ÁÖ·Á Á×°Ô Çϴµµ´Ù
16:3 And the children of Israel said to them, It would have been better for the Lord to have put us to death in the land of Egypt, where we were seated by the flesh-pots and had bread enough for our needs; for you have taken us out to this waste of sand, to put all this people to death through need of food.
16:3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots, and when we did eat bread to the full; for all of you have brought us forth into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.

16:4 ¡Û ¶§¿¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ º¸¶ó ³»°¡ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© Çϴÿ¡¼­ ¾ç½ÄÀ» ºñ °°ÀÌ ³»¸®¸®´Ï ¹é¼ºÀÌ ³ª°¡¼­ ÀÏ¿ëÇÒ °ÍÀ» ³¯¸¶´Ù °ÅµÑ °ÍÀ̶ó ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ÇÏ¿© ±×µéÀÌ ³ªÀÇ À²¹ýÀ» ÁØÇàÇϳª ¾Æ´ÏÇϳª ³»°¡ ½ÃÇèÇϸ®¶ó
16:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, See, I will send down bread from heaven for you; and the people will go out every day and get enough for the day's needs; so that I may put them to the test to see if they will keep my laws or not.
16:4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

16:5 Á¦ À° ÀÏ¿¡´Â ±×µéÀÌ ±× °ÅµÐ °ÍÀ» ¿¹ºñÇÒÁö´Ï ³¯¸¶´Ù °ÅµÎ´ø °ÍÀÇ °©ÀýÀÌ µÇ¸®¶ó
16:5 And on the sixth day they are to make ready what they get in, and it will be twice as much as they get on the other days.
16:5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.

16:6 ¸ð¼¼¿Í ¾Æ·ÐÀÌ ¿Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼Õ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ Àú³áÀÌ µÇ¸é ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¾Ö±Á ¶¥¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¼ÌÀ½À» ¾Ë °ÍÀÌ¿ä
16:6 And Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, This evening it will be clear to you that it is the Lord who has taken you out of the land of Egypt:
16:6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then all of you shall know that the LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt:

16:7 ¾Æħ¿¡´Â ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¿µ±¤À» º¸¸®´Ï ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ÊÈñ°¡ Àڱ⸦ ÇâÇÏ¿© ¿ø¸ÁÇÔÀ» µéÀ¸¼ÌÀ½À̶ó ¿ì¸®°¡ ´©±¸°ü´ë ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¿ì¸®¸¦ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿ø¸ÁÇÏ´À³Ä
16:7 And in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord; for your angry words against the Lord have come to his ears: and what are we that you are crying out against us?
16:7 And in the morning, then all of you shall see the glory of the LORD; for that he hears your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that all of you murmur against us?

16:8 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¶Ç °¡·ÎµÇ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ Àú³á¿¡´Â ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô °í±â¸¦ ÁÖ¾î ¸ÔÀÌ½Ã°í ¾Æħ¿¡´Â ¶±À¸·Î ¹èºÒ¸®½Ã¸®´Ï ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ Àڱ⸦ ÇâÇÏ¿© ³ÊÈñÀÇ ¿ø¸ÁÇÏ´Â ±× ¸»À» µéÀ¸¼ÌÀ½À̴϶ó ¿ì¸®°¡ ´©±¸³Ä ³ÊÈñÀÇ ¿ø¸ÁÀº ¿ì¸®¸¦ ÇâÇÏ¿© ÇÔÀÌ ¾Æ´Ï¿ä ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ ÇâÇÏ¿© ÇÔÀ̷δÙ
16:8 And Moses said, The Lord will give you meat for your food at evening, and in the morning bread in full measure; for your outcry against the Lord has come to his ears: for what are we? your outcry is not against us but against the Lord.
16:8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD hears your murmurings which all of you murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings are not against us, but against the LORD.

16:9 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¶Ç ¾Æ·Ð¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÇ ¿Â ȸÁß¿¡°Ô ¸íÇϱ⸦ ¿©È£¿Í²² °¡±îÀÌ ³ª¾Æ¿À¶ó ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ÊÈñÀÇ ¿ø¸ÁÇÔÀ» µéÀ¸¼Ì´À´Ï¶ó Ç϶ó
16:9 And Moses said to Aaron, Say to all the people of Israel, Come near before the Lord for he has given ear to your outcry.
16:9 And Moses spoke unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he has heard your murmurings.

16:10 ¾Æ·ÐÀÌ À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÇ ¿Â ȸÁß¿¡°Ô ¸»ÇϸŠ±×µéÀÌ ±¤¾ß¸¦ ¹Ù¶óº¸´Ï ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¿µ±¤ÀÌ ±¸¸§ ¼Ó¿¡ ³ªÅ¸³ª´õ¶ó
16:10 And while Aaron was talking to the children of Israel, their eyes were turned in the direction of the waste land, and they saw the glory of the Lord shining in the cloud.
16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold, the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.

16:11 And the Lord said to Moses,
16:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

16:12 The outcry of the children of Israel has come to my ears: say to them now, At nightfall you will have meat for your food, and in the morning bread in full measure; and you will see that I am the Lord your God.
16:12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them, saying, At even all of you shall eat flesh, and in the morning all of you shall be filled with bread; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD your God.

16:13 ¡Û Àú³á¿¡´Â ¸ÞÃ߶ó±â°¡ ¿Í¼­ Áø¿¡ µ¤ÀÌ°í ¾Æħ¿¡´Â À̽½ÀÌ Áø »ç¸é¿¡ ÀÖ´õ´Ï
16:13 And it came about that in the evening little birds came up and the place was covered with them: and in the morning there was dew all round about the tents.
16:13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.

16:14 And when the dew was gone, on the face of the earth was a small round thing, like small drops of ice on the earth.
16:14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the ground.

16:15 À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ º¸°í ±×°ÍÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀÎÁö ¾ËÁö ¸øÇÏ¿© ¼­·Î À̸£µÇ ÀÌ°ÍÀÌ ¹«¾ùÀÌ³Ä ÇÏ´Ï ¸ð¼¼°¡ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ÀÌ´Â ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÁÖ¾î ¸Ô°Ô ÇϽŠ¾ç½ÄÀ̶ó
16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, What is it? for they had no idea what it was. And Moses said to them, It is the bread which the Lord has given you for your food.
16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It is manna: for they know not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the bread which the LORD has given you to eat.

16:16 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ¸íÇϽñ⸦ ³ÊÈñ °¢ »ç¶÷ÀÇ ½Ä·®´ë·Î ÀÌ°ÍÀ» °ÅµÑÁö´Ï °ð ³ÊÈñ Àμö´ë·Î ¸Å¸í¿¡ ÇÑ ¿À¸á¾¿ ÃëÇ쵂 °¢ »ç¶÷ÀÌ ±× À帷¿¡ ÀÖ´Â ÀÚµéÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© ÃëÇÒÁö´Ï¶ó Çϼ̴À´Ï¶ó
16:16 This is what the Lord has said, Let every man take up as much as he has need of; at the rate of one omer for every person, let every man take as much as is needed for his family.
16:16 This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, Gather of it every man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number of your persons; take all of you every man for them which are in his tents.

16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and some took more and some less.

16:18 ¿À¸á·Î µÇ¾î º»Áï ¸¹ÀÌ °ÅµÐ ÀÚµµ ³²À½ÀÌ ¾ø°í Àû°Ô °ÅµÐ ÀÚµµ ºÎÁ·ÇÔÀÌ ¾øÀÌ °¢±â ½Ä·®´ë·Î °ÅµÎ¾ú´õ¶ó
16:18 And when it was measured, he who had taken up much had nothing over, and he who had little had enough; every man had taken what he was able to make use of.
16:18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according to his eating.

16:19 And Moses said to them, Let nothing be kept till the morning.
16:19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.

16:20 But they gave no attention to Moses, and some of them kept it till the morning and there were worms in it and it had an evil smell: and Moses was angry with them.
16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was angry with them.

16:21 ¡Û ¹«¸®°¡ ¾Æħ¸¶´Ù °¢±â ½Ä·®´ë·Î °ÅµÎ¾ú°í ÇØ°¡ ¶ß°Ì°Ô ÂÉÀÌ¸é ±×°ÍÀÌ ½º·¯Á³´õ¶ó
16:21 And they took it up morning by morning, every man as he had need: and when the sun was high it was gone.
16:21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating: and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.

16:22 Á¦ À° ÀÏ¿¡´Â °¢ »ç¶÷ÀÌ °©ÀýÀÇ ½Ä¹° °ð Çϳª¿¡ µÎ ¿À¸á¾¿ °ÅµÐÁö¶ó ȸÁßÀÇ ¸ðµç µÎ¸ñÀÌ ¿Í¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô °íÇϸÅ
16:22 And on the sixth day they took up twice as much of the bread, two omers for every person: and all the rulers of the people gave Moses word of it.
16:22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and told Moses.

16:23 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ÀÌ°°ÀÌ ¸»¾¸Çϼ̴À´Ï¶ó ³»ÀÏÀº ÈÞ½ÄÀÌ´Ï ¿©È£¿Í²² °Å·èÇÑ ¾È½ÄÀÏÀ̶ó ³ÊÈñ°¡ ±¸¿ï °ÍÀº ±Á°í »îÀ» °ÍÀº »î°í ±× ³ª¸ÓÁö´Â ´Ù ³ÊÈñ¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© ¾Æħ±îÁö °£¼öÇ϶ó
16:23 And he said, This is what the Lord has said, Tomorrow is a day of rest, a holy Sabbath to the Lord: what has to be cooked may be cooked; and what is over, put on one side to be kept till the morning.
16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD has said, Tomorrow is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which all of you will bake to day, and seethe that all of you will seethe; and that which remains over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.

16:24 And they kept it till the morning as Moses had said: and no smell came from it, and it had no worms.
16:24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not stink, neither was there any worm therein.

16:25 And Moses said, Make your meal today of what you have, for this day is a Sabbath to the Lord: today you will not get any in the fields.
16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; in order to day is a sabbath unto the LORD: to day all of you shall not find it in the field.

16:26 For six days you will get it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not be any.
16:26 Six days all of you shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.

16:27 But still on the seventh day some of the people went out to get it, and there was not any.
16:27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the seventh day in order to gather, and they found none.

16:28 And the Lord said to Moses, How long will you go against my orders and my laws?
16:28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse all of you to keep my commandments and my laws?

16:29 º¼Áö¾î´Ù ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ¾È½ÄÀÏÀ» ÁÜÀ¸·Î Á¦ À° ÀÏ¿¡´Â ÀÌƲ ¾ç½ÄÀ» ³ÊÈñ¿¡°Ô ÁÖ´Â °ÍÀÌ´Ï ³ÊÈñ´Â °¢±â ó¼Ò¿¡ ÀÖ°í Á¦ Ä¥ ÀÏ¿¡´Â ¾Æ¹«µµ ±× ó¼Ò¿¡¼­ ³ª¿ÀÁö ¸»Áö´Ï¶ó
16:29 See, because the Lord has given you the Sabbath, he gives you on the sixth day bread enough for two days; let every man keep where he is; let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
16:29 See, for that the LORD has given you the sabbath, therefore he gives you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide all of you every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

16:30 So the people took their rest on the seventh day.

16:31 And this bread was named manna by Israel: it was white, like a grain seed, and its taste was like cakes made with honey.
16:31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.

16:32 And Moses said, This is the order which the Lord has given: Let one omer of it be kept for future generations, so that they may see the bread which I gave you for your food in the waste land, when I took you out from the land of Egypt.
16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commands, Fill an omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of Egypt.

16:33 ¶Ç ¾Æ·Ð¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ Ç׾Ƹ®¸¦ °¡Á®´Ù°¡ ±× ¼Ó¿¡ ¸¸³ª ÇÑ ¿À¸áÀ» ´ã¾Æ ¿©È£¿Í ¾Õ¿¡ µÎ¾î ³ÊÈñ ´ë´ë·Î °£¼öÇ϶ó
16:33 And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot and put one omer of manna in it, and put it away before the Lord, to be kept for future generations.
16:33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.

16:34 So Aaron put it away in front of the holy chest to be kept, as the Lord gave orders to Moses.
16:34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony, to be kept.

16:35 And the children of Israel had manna for their food for forty years, till they came to a land with people in it, till they came to the edge of the land of Canaan.
16:35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of the land of Canaan.

17:1 À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÇ ¿Â ȸÁßÀÌ ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ ¸í·É´ë·Î ½Å ±¤¾ß¿¡¼­ ¶°³ª ±× ³ëÁ¤´ë·Î ÇàÇÏ¿© ¸£ºñµõ¿¡ À帷À» ÃÆÀ¸³ª ¹é¼ºÀÌ ¸¶½Ç ¹°ÀÌ ¾ø´ÂÁö¶ó
17:1 And the children of Israel went on from the waste land of Sin, by stages as the Lord gave them orders, and put up their tents in Rephidim: and there was no drinking-water for the people.
17:1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.

17:2 ¹é¼ºÀÌ ¸ð¼¼¿Í ´ÙÅõ¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ¹°À» ÁÖ¾î ¸¶½Ã°Ô Ç϶ó ¸ð¼¼°¡ ±×µé¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ³ª¿Í ´ÙÅõ´À³Ä ³ÊÈñ°¡ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ ½ÃÇèÇÏ´À³Ä
17:2 So the people were angry with Moses, and said, Give us water for drinking. And Moses said, Why are you angry with me? and why do you put God to the test?
17:2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide all of you with me? wherefore do all of you tempt the LORD?

17:3 °Å±â¼­ ¹é¼ºÀÌ ¹°¿¡ °¥ÇϸŠ±×µéÀÌ ¸ð¼¼¸¦ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¿ø¸ÁÇÏ¿© °¡·ÎµÇ ´ç½ÅÀÌ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ¿ì¸®¸¦ ¾Ö±Á¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»¾î¼­ ¿ì¸®¿Í ¿ì¸® ÀÚ³à¿Í ¿ì¸® »ýÃàÀ¸·Î ¸ñ¸»¶ó Á×°Ô ÇÏ´À³Ä
17:3 And the people were in great need of water; and they made an outcry against Moses, and said, Why have you taken us out of Egypt to send death on us and our children and our cattle through need of water?
17:3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt, to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?

17:4 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¿©È£¿Í²² ºÎ¸£Â¢¾î °¡·ÎµÇ ³»°¡ ÀÌ ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô ¾î¶»°Ô Çϸ®ÀÌ±î ±×µéÀÌ ¾ó¸¶ ¾Æ´Ï¸é ³»°Ô µ¹Áú ÇÏ°Ú³ªÀÌ´Ù
17:4 And Moses, crying out to the Lord, said, What am I to do to this people? they are almost ready to put me to death by stoning.
17:4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people? they be almost ready to stone me.

17:5 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ¹é¼º ¾ÕÀ» Áö³ª°¡¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤ Àå·ÎµéÀ» µ¥¸®°í Çϼö¸¦ Ä¡´ø ³× ÁöÆÎÀ̸¦ ¼Õ¿¡ Àâ°í °¡¶ó
17:5 And the Lord said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take some of the chiefs of Israel with you, and take in your hand the rod which was stretched out over the Nile, and go.
17:5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take in yours hand, and go.

17:6 ³»°¡ °Å±â¼­ È£·¾ »ê ¹Ý¼® À§¿¡ ³Ê¸¦ ´ëÇÏ¿© ¼­¸®´Ï ³Ê´Â ¹Ý¼®À» Ä¡¶ó ±×°Í¿¡¼­ ¹°ÀÌ ³ª¸®´Ï ¹é¼ºÀÌ ¸¶½Ã¸®¶ó ¸ð¼¼°¡ À̽º¶ó¿¤ Àå·ÎµéÀÇ ¸ñÀü¿¡¼­ ±×´ë·Î ÇàÇϴ϶ó
17:6 See, I will take my place before you on the rock in Horeb; and when you give the rock a blow, water will come out of it, and the people will have drink. And Moses did so before the eyes of the chiefs of Israel.
17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you shall strike the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.

17:7 ±×°¡ ±× °÷ À̸§À» ¸À»ç¶ó ¶Ç´Â ¹Ç¸®¹Ù¶ó ºÒ·¶À¸´Ï ÀÌ´Â À̽º¶ó¿¤ ÀÚ¼ÕÀÌ ´ÙÅõ¾úÀ½ÀÌ¿ä ¶Ç´Â ±×µéÀÌ ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ ½ÃÇèÇÏ¿© À̸£±â¸¦ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¿ì¸® Áß¿¡ °è½Å°¡ ¾Æ´Ñ°¡ ÇÏ¿´À½ÀÌ´õ¶ó
17:7 And he gave that place the name Massah and Meribah, because the children of Israel were angry, and because they put the Lord to the test, saying, Is the Lord with us or not?
17:7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying, Is the LORD among us, or not?

17:8 ¡Û ¶§¿¡ ¾Æ¸»·ºÀÌ À̸£·¯ À̽º¶ó¿¤°ú ¸£ºñµõ¿¡¼­ ½Î¿ì´Ï¶ó
17:8 Then Amalek came and made war on Israel in Rephidim.
17:8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.

17:9 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¿©È£¼ö¾Æ¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ¿ì¸®¸¦ À§ÇÏ¿© »ç¶÷µéÀ» ÅÃÇÏ¿© ³ª°¡¼­ ¾Æ¸»·º°ú ½Î¿ì¶ó ³»ÀÏ ³»°¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ ÁöÆÎÀ̸¦ ¼Õ¿¡ Àâ°í »ê ²À´ë±â¿¡ ¼­¸®¶ó
17:9 And Moses said to Joshua, Get together a band of men for us and go out, make war on Amalek: tomorrow I will take my place on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand.
17:9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in mine hand.

17:10 ¿©È£¼ö¾Æ°¡ ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ¸»´ë·Î ÇàÇÏ¿© ¾Æ¸»·º°ú ½Î¿ì°í ¸ð¼¼¿Í ¾Æ·Ð°ú ÈÇÀº »ê ²À´ë±â¿¡ ¿Ã¶ó°¡¼­
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and went to war with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.

17:11 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¼ÕÀ» µé¸é À̽º¶ó¿¤ÀÌ À̱â°í ¼ÕÀ» ³»¸®¸é ¾Æ¸»·ºÀÌ À̱â´õ´Ï
17:11 Now while Moses' hand was lifted up, Israel was the stronger: but when he let his hand go down, Amalek became the stronger.
17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed: and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.

17:12 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÆÈÀÌ ÇÇ°ïÇϸŠ±×µéÀÌ µ¹À» °¡Á®´Ù°¡ ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ¾Æ·¡¿¡ ³õ¾Æ ±×·Î ±× À§¿¡ ¾É°Ô ÇÏ°í ¾Æ·Ð°ú ÈÇÀÌ Çϳª´Â ÀÌÆí¿¡¼­ Çϳª´Â ÀúÆí¿¡¼­ ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ¼ÕÀ» ºÙµé¾î ¿Ã·È´õ´Ï ±× ¼ÕÀÌ ÇØ°¡ Áöµµ·Ï ³»·Á¿ÀÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇÑÁö¶ó
17:12 But Moses' hands became tired; so they put a stone under him and he took his seat on it, Aaron and Hur supporting his hands, one on one side and one on the other; so his hands were kept up without falling till the sun went down.
17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the going down of the sun.

17:13 ¿©È£¼ö¾Æ°¡ Ä®³¯·Î ¾Æ¸»·º°ú ±× ¹é¼ºÀ» Ãļ­ ÆÄÇϴ϶ó
17:13 And Joshua overcame Amalek and his people with the sword.
17:13 And Joshua humiliated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.

17:14 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ÀÌ°ÍÀ» Ã¥¿¡ ±â·ÏÇÏ¿© ±â³äÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ°í ¿©È£¼ö¾ÆÀÇ ±Í¿¡ ¿Ü¿ö µé¸®¶ó ³»°¡ ¾Æ¸»·ºÀ» µµ¸»ÇÏ¿© õÇÏ¿¡¼­ ±â¾ïÇÔÀÌ ¾ø°Ô Çϸ®¶ó
17:14 And the Lord said to Moses, Make a record of this in a book, so that it may be kept in memory, and say it again in the ears of Joshua: that all memory of Amalek is to be completely uprooted from the earth.
17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book, and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance of Amalek from under heaven.

17:15 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ´ÜÀ» ½×°í ±× À̸§À» ¿©È£¿Í ´Ö½Ã¶ó ÇÏ°í
17:15 Then Moses put up an altar and gave it the name of Yahweh-nissi:
17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:

17:16 °¡·ÎµÇ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸Í¼¼ÇϽñ⸦ ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ¾Æ¸»·ºÀ¸·Î ´õºÒ¾î ´ë´ë·Î ½Î¿ì¸®¶ó Çϼ̴٠ÇÏ¿´´õ¶ó
17:16 For he said, The Lord has taken his oath that there will be war with Amalek from generation to generation.
17:16 For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war with Amalek from generation to generation.

18:1 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎ ¹Ìµð¾È Á¦»çÀå À̵å·Î°¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô¿Í Àڱ⠹鼺 À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ÇϽŠÀÏ °ð ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤À» ¾Ö±Á¿¡¼­ ÀεµÇÏ¿© ³»½Å ¸ðµç ÀÏÀ» µéÀ¸´Ï¶ó
18:1 Now news came to Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, of all God had done for Moses and for Israel his people, and how the Lord had taken Israel out of Egypt.
18:1 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had brought Israel out of Egypt;

18:2 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎ À̵å·Î°¡ ¸ð¼¼°¡ µ¹·Á º¸³»¾ú´ø ±×ÀÇ ¾Æ³» ½Êº¸¶ó¿Í
18:2 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her away,
18:2 Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent her back,

18:3 ±× µÎ ¾ÆµéÀ» µ¥·ÈÀ¸´Ï ±× ÇϳªÀÇ À̸§Àº °Ô¸£¼ØÀ̶ó ÀÌ´Â ¸ð¼¼°¡ À̸£±â¸¦ ³»°¡ À̹濡¼­ °´ÀÌ µÇ¾ú´Ù ÇÔÀÌ¿ä
18:3 And her two sons, one of whom was named Gershom, for he said, I have been living in a strange land:
18:3 And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said, I have been an foreigner in a strange land:

18:4 ÇϳªÀÇ À̸§Àº ¿¤¸®¿¡¼¿À̶ó ÀÌ´Â ³» ¾Æ¹öÁöÀÇ Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ³ª¸¦ µµ¿ì»ç ¹Ù·ÎÀÇ Ä®¿¡¼­ ±¸¿øÇϼ̴٠ÇÔÀÌ´õ¶ó
18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer, for he said, The God of my father was my help, and kept me safe from the sword of Pharaoh:
18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:

18:5 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎ À̵å·Î°¡ ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ¾Æµéµé°ú ±× ¾Æ³»·Î ´õºÒ¾î ±¤¾ß¿¡ µé¾î¿Í ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£´Ï °ð ¸ð¼¼°¡ Çϳª´ÔÀÇ »ê¿¡ Áø Ä£ °÷À̶ó
18:5 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to where Moses had put up his tent in the waste land, by the mountain of God.
18:5 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God:

18:6 ±×°¡ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô Àü¾ðÇ쵂 ±×´ëÀÇ ÀåÀÎ ³ª À̵å·Î°¡ ±×´ëÀÇ ¾Æ³»¿Í ±×¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ±× µÎ ¾Æµé·Î ´õºÒ¾î ±×´ë¿¡°Ô ¿Ô³ë¶ó
18:6 And he said to Moses, I, your father-in-law, have come to you, with your wife and your two sons.
18:6 And he said unto Moses, I your father in law Jethro am come unto you, and your wife, and her two sons with her.

18:7 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ³ª°¡¼­ ±× ÀåÀÎÀ» ¸Â¾Æ ÀýÇÏ°í ±×¿¡°Ô ÀÔ¸ÂÃß°í ±×µéÀÌ ¼­·Î ¹®¾ÈÇÏ°í ÇÔ²² À帷¿¡ µé¾î°¡¼­
18:7 And Moses went out to his father-in-law, and went down on his face before him and gave him a kiss; and they said to one another, Are you well? and they came into the tent.
18:7 And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did reverence, and kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the tent.

18:8 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤À» À§ÇÏ¿© ¹Ù·Î¿Í ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷¿¡°Ô ÇàÇϽŠ¸ðµç ÀÏ°ú ±æ¿¡¼­ ±×µéÀÇ ´çÇÑ ¸ðµç °í³­°ú ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ±×µéÀ» ±¸¿øÇϽŠÀÏÀ» ´Ù ±× ÀåÀο¡°Ô °íÇϸÅ
18:8 And Moses gave his father-in-law an account of all the Lord had done to Pharaoh and to the Egyptians because of Israel, and of all the troubles which had come on them by the way, and how the Lord had given them salvation.
18:8 And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.

18:9 À̵å·Î°¡ ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ¸ðµç ÀºÇý¸¦ º£Çª»ç ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­ ±¸¿øÇϽÉÀ» ±â»µÇÏ¿©
18:9 And Jethro was glad because the Lord had been good to Israel, freeing them from the power of the Egyptians.
18:9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.

18:10 °¡·ÎµÇ ¿©È£¿Í¸¦ Âù¼ÛÇϸ®·Î´Ù ³ÊÈñ¸¦ ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­¿Í ¹Ù·ÎÀÇ ¼Õ¿¡¼­ °ÇÁ®³»½Ã°í ¹é¼ºÀ» ¾Ö±Á »ç¶÷ÀÇ ¼Õ ¹Ø¿¡¼­ °ÇÁö¼Ìµµ´Ù
18:10 And Jethro said, Praise be to the Lord, who has taken you out of the hand of Pharaoh and out of the hand of the Egyptians; freeing the people from the yoke of the Egyptians.
18:10 And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who has delivered the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.

18:11 ÀÌÁ¦ ³»°¡ ¾Ë¾Òµµ´Ù ¿©È£¿Í´Â ¸ðµç ½Åº¸´Ù Å©½Ã¹Ç·Î À̽º¶ó¿¤¿¡°Ô ±³¸¸È÷ ÇàÇÏ´Â ±×µéÀ» À̱â¼Ìµµ´Ù ÇÏ°í
18:11 Now I am certain that the Lord is greater than all gods, for he has overcome them in their pride.
18:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.

18:12 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎ À̵å·Î°¡ ¹øÁ¦¹°°ú Èñ»ýÀ» Çϳª´Ô²² °¡Á®¿À¸Å ¾Æ·Ð°ú À̽º¶ó¿¤ ¸ðµç Àå·Î°¡ ¿Í¼­ ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀΰú ÇÔ²² Çϳª´Ô ¾Õ¿¡¼­ ¶±À» ¸ÔÀ¸´Ï¶ó
18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, made a burned offering to God: and Aaron came, with the chiefs of Israel, and had a meal with Moses' father-in-law, before God.
18:12 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses' father in law before God.

18:13 ¡Û ÀÌƱ³¯¿¡ ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¹é¼ºÀ» ÀçÆÇÇÏ´À¶ó°í ¾É¾Ò°í ¹é¼ºÀº ¾ÆħºÎÅÍ Àú³á±îÁö ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ °ç¿¡ ¼¹´ÂÁö¶ó
18:13 Now on the day after, Moses took his seat to give decisions for the people: and the people were waiting before Moses from morning till evening.
18:13 And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people: and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.

18:14 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎÀÌ ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô ÇàÇÏ´Â ¸ðµç ÀÏÀ» º¸°í °¡·ÎµÇ ±×´ë°¡ ÀÌ ¹é¼º¿¡°Ô ÇàÇÏ´Â ÀÌ ÀÏÀÌ ¾îÂòÀÌ´¢ ¾îÂîÇÏ¿© ±×´ë´Â Ȧ·Î ¾É¾Ò°í ¹é¼ºÀº ¾ÆħºÎÅÍ Àú³á±îÁö ±×´ëÀÇ °ç¿¡ ¼¹´À´¢
18:14 And when Moses' father-in-law saw all he was doing, he said, What is this you are doing for the people? why are you seated here by yourself, with all the people waiting before you from morning till evening?
18:14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he said, What is this thing that you do to the people? why sit you yourself alone, and all the people stand by you from morning unto even?

18:15 ¸ð¼¼°¡ ±× ÀåÀο¡°Ô ´ë´äÇ쵂 ¹é¼ºÀÌ Çϳª´Ô²² ¹°À¸·Á°í ³»°Ô·Î ¿ÈÀ̶ó
18:15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to get directions from God:
18:15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto me to enquire of God:

18:16 ±×µéÀÌ ÀÏÀÌ ÀÖÀ¸¸é ³»°Ô·Î ¿À³ª´Ï ³»°¡ ±× ¾çÆíÀ» ÆÇ´ÜÇÏ¿© Çϳª´ÔÀÇ À²·Ê¿Í ¹ýµµ¸¦ ¾Ë°Ô ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
18:16 And if they have any question between themselves, they come to me, and I am judge between a man and his neighbour, and I give them the orders and laws of God.
18:16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.

18:17 ¸ð¼¼ÀÇ ÀåÀÎÀÌ ±×¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ±×´ëÀÇ ÇÏ´Â °ÍÀÌ ¼±ÇÏÁö ¸øÇϵµ´Ù
18:17 And Moses' father-in-law said to him, What you are doing is not good.
18:17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that you do is not good.

18:18 ±×´ë¿Í ±×´ë¿Í ÇÔ²² ÇÑ ÀÌ ¹é¼ºÀÌ ÇÊ¿¬ ±â·ÂÀÌ ¼èÇϸ®´Ï ÀÌ ÀÏÀÌ ±×´ë¿¡°Ô ³Ê¹« ÁßÇÔÀ̶ó ±×´ë°¡ È¥ÀÚ ÇÒ ¼ö ¾øÀ¸¸®¶ó
18:18 Your strength and that of the people will be completely used up: this work is more than you are able to do by yourself.
18:18 You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you: for this thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it yourself alone.

18:19 ÀÌÁ¦ ³» ¸»À» µéÀ¸¶ó ³»°¡ ±×´ë¿¡°Ô ¹æħÀ» °¡¸£Ä¡¸®´Ï Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ±×´ë¿Í ÇÔ²² °è½ÇÁö·Î´Ù ±×´ë´Â ¹é¼ºÀ» À§ÇÏ¿© Çϳª´Ô ¾Õ¿¡ À־ ¼Ò¼ÛÀ» Çϳª´Ô²² º£Ç®¸ç
18:19 Give ear now to my suggestion, and may God be with you: you are to be the people's representative before God, taking their causes to him:
18:19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be with you: Be you for the people toward God, that you may bring the causes unto God:

18:20 Teaching them his rules and his laws, guiding them in the way they have to go, and making clear to them the work they have to do.
18:20 And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.

18:21 But for the rest, take from among the people able men, such as have the fear of God, true men hating profits wrongly made; and put such men over them, to be captains of thousands, captains of hundreds and of fifties and of tens;
18:21 Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

18:22 And let them be judges in the causes of the people at all times: and let them put before you all important questions, but in small things let them give decisions themselves: in this way, it will be less hard for you, and they will take the weight off you.
18:22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that every great matter they shall bring unto you, but every small matter they shall judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with you.

18:23 If you do this, and God gives approval, then you will be able to go on without weariness, and all this people will go to their tents in peace.
18:23 If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.

18:24 So Moses took note of the words of his father-in-law, and did as he had said.

18:25 And he made selection of able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, captains of thousands, captains of hundreds and of fifties and of tens.
18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens.

18:26 And they were judges in the causes of the people at all times: the hard questions they put before Moses; but on every small point they gave decisions themselves.
18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.

18:27 And Moses let his father-in-law go away, and he went back to his land.

19:1 In the third month after the children of Israel went out from Egypt, on the same day, they came into the waste land of Sinai.
19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.

19:2 And when they had gone away from Rephidim and had come into the waste land of Sinai, they put up their tents in the waste land before the mountain: there Israel put up its tents.
19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the mount.

19:3 And Moses went up to God, and the voice of the Lord came to him from the mountain, saying, Say to the family of Jacob, and give word to the children of Israel:
19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children of Israel;

19:4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I took you, as on eagles' wings, guiding you to myself.
19:4 All of you have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.

19:5 If now you will truly give ear to my voice and keep my agreement, you will be my special property out of all the peoples: for all the earth is mine:
19:5 Now therefore, if all of you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then all of you shall be an exclusive treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:

19:6 And you will be a kingdom of priests to me, and a holy nation. These are the words which you are to say to the children of Israel.
19:6 And all of you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.

19:7 And Moses came and sent for the chiefs of the people and put before them all these words which the Lord had given him orders to say.
19:7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.

19:8 And all the people, answering together, said, Whatever the Lord has said we will do. And Moses took back to the Lord the words of the people.
19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.

19:9 And the Lord said to Moses, See, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that what I say to you may come to the ears of the people and they may have belief in you for ever. And Moses gave the Lord word of what the people had said.
19:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud, that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you for ever. And Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.

19:10 And the Lord said to Moses, Go to the people and make them holy today and tomorrow, and let their clothing be washed.
19:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them to day and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,

19:11 And by the third day let them be ready: for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai, before the eyes of all the people.
19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.

19:12 And let limits be marked out for the people round the mountain, and say to them, Take care not to go up the mountain or near the sides of it: whoever puts his foot on the mountain will certainly come to his death:
19:12 And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take heed to yourselves, that all of you go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:

19:13 He is not to be touched by a hand, but is to be stoned or have an arrow put through him; man or beast, he is to be put to death: at the long sounding of a horn they may come up to the mountain.
19:13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.

19:14 Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and made the people holy; and their clothing was washed.
19:14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified the people; and they washed their clothes.

19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready by the third day: do not come near a woman.
19:15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not at your wives.

19:16 And when morning came on the third day, there were thunders and flames and a thick cloud on the mountain, and a horn sounding very loud; and all the people in the tents were shaking with fear.
19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.

19:17 ¸ð¼¼°¡ Çϳª´ÔÀ» ¸ÂÀ¸·Á°í ¹é¼ºÀ» °Å´À¸®°í Áø¿¡¼­ ³ª¿À¸Å ±×µéÀÌ »ê ±â½¾¿¡ ¼¹´õ´Ï
19:17 And Moses made the people come out of their tents and take their places before God; and they came to the foot of the mountain,
19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount.

19:18 And all the mountain of Sinai was smoking, for the Lord had come down on it in fire: and the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a great burning; and all the mountain was shaking.
19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether smoking, because the LORD descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.

19:19 ³ªÆÈ ¼Ò¸®°¡ Á¡Á¡ Ä¿Áú ¶§¿¡ ¸ð¼¼°¡ ¸»ÇÑÁï Çϳª´ÔÀÌ À½¼ºÀ¸·Î ´ë´äÇϽôõ¶ó
19:19 And when the sound of the horn became louder and louder, Moses' words were answered by the voice of God.
19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.

19:20 Then the Lord came down on to Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, and the Lord sent for Moses to come up to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.

19:21 ¿©È£¿Í²²¼­ ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£½ÃµÇ ³»·Á°¡¼­ ¹é¼ºÀ» ½ÅÄ¢Ç϶ó ¹é¼ºÀÌ µ¹ÆÄÇÏ°í ³ª ¿©È£¿Í²²·Î ¿Í¼­ º¸·Á°í ÇÏ´Ù°¡ ¸¹ÀÌ Á×À»±î Çϳë¶ó
19:21 And the Lord said to Moses, Go down and give the people orders to keep back, for fear that a great number of them, forcing their way through to see the Lord, may come to destruction.
19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.

19:22 ¶Ç ¿©È£¿Í²² °¡±îÀÌ ÇÏ´Â Á¦»çÀåµé·Î ±× ¸öÀ» ¼º°áÈ÷ ÇÏ°Ô ÇÏ¶ó ³ª ¿©È£¿Í°¡ ±×µéÀ» µ¹°ÝÇÒ±î Çϳë¶ó
19:22 And let the priests who come near to the Lord make themselves holy, for fear that the Lord may come on them suddenly.
19:22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves, lest the LORD break forth upon them.

19:23 And Moses said to the Lord, The people will not be able to come up the mountain, for you gave us orders to put limits round the mountain, marking it out and making it holy.
19:23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai: for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.

19:24 And the Lord said to him, Go down, and you and Aaron may come up; but let not the priests and the people make their way through to the Lord, or he will come on them suddenly.
19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get you down, and you shall come up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break through to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.

19:25 So Moses went down to the people and said this to them.

20:2 I am the Lord your God who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.
20:2 I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

20:3 You are to have no other gods but me.

20:4 You are not to make an image or picture of anything in heaven or on the earth or in the waters under the earth:
20:4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

20:5 You may not go down on your faces before them or give them worship: for I, the Lord your God, am a God who will not give his honour to another; and I will send punishment on the children for the wrongdoing of their fathers, to the third and fourth generation of my haters;
20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

20:6 ³ª¸¦ »ç¶ûÇÏ°í ³» °è¸íÀ» ÁöÅ°´Â ÀÚ¿¡°Ô´Â õ ´ë±îÁö ÀºÇý¸¦ º£Çª´À´Ï¶ó
20:6 And I will have mercy through a thousand generations on those who have love for me and keep my laws.
20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

20:7 ¡Û ³Ê´Â ³ÊÀÇ Çϳª´Ô ¿©È£¿ÍÀÇ À̸§À» ¸Á·ÉµÇÀÌ ÀÏÄÂÁö ¸»¶ó ³ª ¿©È£¿Í´Â ³ªÀÇ À̸§À» ¸Á·ÉµÇÀÌ ÀÏÄ´ ÀÚ¸¦ ÁË ¾ø´Ù ÇÏÁö ¾Æ´ÏÇϸ®¶ó
20:7 You are not to make use of the name of the Lord your God for an evil purpose; whoever takes the Lord's name on his lips for an evil purpose will be judged a sinner by the Lord
20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.

20:8 ¡Û ¾È½ÄÀÏÀ» ±â¾ïÇÏ¿© °Å·èÈ÷ ÁöÅ°¶ó
20:8 Keep in memory the Sabbath and let it be a holy day.
20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

20:10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; on that day you are to do no work, you or your son or your daughter, your man-servant or your woman-servant, your cattle or the man from a strange country who is living among you:
20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant, nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your gates:

20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and everything in them, and he took his rest on the seventh day: for this reason the Lord has given his blessing to the seventh day and made it holy.
20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

20:12 Give honour to your father and to your mother, so that your life may be long in the land which the Lord your God is giving you.

20:17 Let not your desire be turned to your neighbour's house, or his wife or his man-servant or his woman-servant or his ox or his ass or anything which is his.
20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour's house, you shall not covet your neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.

20:18 And all the people were watching the thunderings and the flames and the sound of the horn and the mountain smoking; and when they saw it, they kept far off, shaking with fear.
20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it, they removed, and stood far off.

20:19 ¸ð¼¼¿¡°Ô À̸£µÇ ´ç½ÅÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ¸»¾¸ÇϼҼ­ ¿ì¸®°¡ µéÀ¸¸®ÀÌ´Ù Çϳª´ÔÀÌ ¿ì¸®¿¡°Ô ¸»¾¸ÇϽÃÁö ¸»°Ô ÇϼҼ­ ¿ì¸®°¡ Á×À»±î ÇϳªÀÌ´Ù
20:19 And they said to Moses, To your words we will give ear, but let not the voice of God come to our ears, for fear death may come on us.
20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but let not God speak with us, lest we die.

20:20 And Moses said to the people, Have no fear: for God has come to put you to the test, so that fearing him you may be kept from sin.
20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God has come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that all of you sin not.

20:21 And the people kept their places far off, but Moses went near to the dark cloud where God was.
20:21 And the people stood far off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness where God was.

20:22 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, You yourselves have seen that my voice has come to you from heaven
20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus you shall say unto the children of Israel, All of you have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.

20:23 Gods of silver and gods of gold you are not to make for yourselves.
20:23 All of you shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall all of you make unto you gods of gold.

20:24 Make for me an altar of earth, offering on it your burned offerings and your peace-offerings, your sheep and your oxen: in every place where I have put the memory of my name, I will come to you and give you my blessing.
20:24 An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and yours oxen: in all places where I record my name I will come unto you, and I will bless you.

20:25 ³×°¡ ³»°Ô µ¹·Î ´ÜÀ» ½×°Åµç ´ÙµëÀº µ¹·Î ½×Áö ¸»¶ó ³×°¡ Á¤À¸·Î ±×°ÍÀ» ÂÉ¸é ºÎÁ¤ÇÏ°Ô ÇÔÀ̴϶ó
20:25 And if you make me an altar of stone do not make it of cut stones: for the touch of an instrument will make it unclean.
20:25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.

20:26 ³Ê´Â Ãþ°è·Î ³» ´Ü¿¡ ¿À¸£Áö ¸»¶ó ³× ÇÏü°¡ ±× À§¿¡¼­ µå·¯³¯±î ÇÔÀ̴϶ó
20:26 And do not go up by steps to my altar, for fear that your bodies may be seen uncovered.
20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps unto mine altar, that your nakedness be not discovered thereon.
