11:1 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시기를 내가 이제 한 가지 재앙을 바로와 애굽에
내린 후에야 그가 너희를 여기서 보낼지라 그가 너희를 보낼 때에는 여기서 정녕
다 쫓아내리니
11:1 And the Lord said to Moses, I will send one more punishment on Pharaoh and on Egypt;
after that he will let you go; and when he does let you go, he will not keep one
of you back, but will send you out by force.
11:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon
Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go behind: when he shall
let you go, he shall surely thrust you out behind altogether.
11:2 백성에게 말하여 남녀로 각기 이웃들에게 은금 패물을 구하게 하라 하시더니
11:2 So go now and give orders to the people that every man and every woman is to get
from his or her neighbour ornaments of silver and of gold.
11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his
neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of
gold.
11:3 여호와께서 그 백성으로 애굽 사람의 은혜를 받게 하셨고 또 그 사람 모세는 애굽국에서 바로의 신하와 백성에게 심히 크게 뵈었더라
11:3 And the Lord gave the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians. For the man Moses
was highly honoured in the land of Egypt, by Pharaoh's servants and the people.
11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover
the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's
servants, and in the sight of the people.
11:4 ○ 모세가 바로에게 이르되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하시기를 밤중에 내가
애굽 가운데로 들어가리니
11:4 And Moses said, This is what the Lord says: About the middle of the night I will
go out through Egypt:
11:4 And Moses said, Thus says the LORD, About midnight will I go out into
the midst of Egypt:
11:5 애굽 가운데 처음 난 것은 위에 앉은 바로의 장자로부터 맷돌 뒤에 있는
여종의 장자까지와 모든 생축의 처음 난 것이 죽을지라
11:5 And death will come to every mother's first male child in all the land of Egypt,
from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power, to the child of the servant-girl
crushing the grain; and the first births of all the cattle.
11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first
born of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant
that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.
11:6 애굽 전국에 전무후무한 큰 곡성이 있으리라
11:6 And there will be a great cry through all the land of Egypt, such as never has been
or will be again.
11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such
as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.
11:7 그러나 이스라엘 자손에게는 사람에게나 짐승에게나 개도 그 혀를 움직이지
않으리니 여호와가 애굽 사람과 이스라엘 사이에 구별하는 줄을 너희가 알리라 하셨나니
11:7 But against the children of Israel, man or beast, not so much as the tongue of a
dog will be moved: so that you may see how the Lord makes a division between Israel
and the Egyptians.
11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue,
against man or beast: that all of you may know how that the LORD does put a
difference between the Egyptians and Israel.
11:8 왕이 이 모든 신하가 내게 내려와서 내게 절하며 이르기를 너와 너를 좇는
온 백성은 나가라 한 후에야 내가 나가리라 하고 심히 노하여 바로에게서 나오니라
11:8 And all these your servants will come to me, going down on their faces before me
and saying, Go out, and all your people with you: and after that I will go out.
And he went away from Pharaoh burning with wrath.
11:8 And all these your servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves
unto me, saying, Get you out, and all the people that follow you: and after
that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.
11:9 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시기를 바로가 너희를 듣지 아니할지라 그러므로
내가 애굽 땅에서 나의 기사를 더하리라 하셨고
11:9 And the Lord said to Moses, Pharaoh will not give ear to you, so that my wonders
may be increased in the land of Egypt.
11:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that
my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.
11:10 모세와 아론이 이 모든 기사를 바로 앞에서 행하였으나 여호와께서 바로의
마음을 강퍅케 하셨으므로 그가 이스라엘 자손을 그 나라에서 보내지 아니하였더라
11:10 All these wonders Moses and Aaron did before Pharaoh: but the Lord made Pharaoh's
heart hard, and he did not let the children of Israel go out of his land.
11:10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD
hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go
out of his land.
12:1 여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 모세와 아론에게 일러 가라사대
12:1 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt,
12:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,
12:2 이 달로 너희에게 달의 시작 곧 해의 첫 달이 되게 하고
12:2 Let this month be to you the first of months, the first month of the year.
12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the
first month of the year to you.
12:3 너희는 이스라엘 회중에게 고하여 이르라 이 달 열흘에 너희 매인이 어린
양을 취할지니 각 가족대로 그 식구를 위하여 어린 양을 취하되
12:3 Say to all the children of Israel when they are come together, In the tenth day
of this month every man is to take a lamb, by the number of their fathers' families,
a lamb for every family:
12:3 Speak all of you unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the
tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according
to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:
12:4 그 어린 양에 대하여 식구가 너무 적으면 그 집의 이웃과 함께 인수를 따라서
하나를 취하며 각 사람의 식량을 따라서 너희 어린 양을 계산할 것이며
12:4 And if the lamb is more than enough for the family, let that family and its nearest
neighbour have a lamb between them, taking into account the number of persons and
how much food is needed for every man.
12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour
next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man
according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.
12:5 너희 어린 양은 흠 없고 일 년 된 수컷으로 하되 양이나 염소 중에서 취하고
12:5 Let your lamb be without a mark, a male in its first year: you may take it from
among the sheep or the goats:
12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: all of
you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:
12:6 이 달 십 사 일까지 간직하였다가 해질 때에 이스라엘 회중이 그 양을 잡고
12:6 Keep it till the fourteenth day of the same month, when everyone who is of the children
of Israel is to put it to death between sundown and dark.
12:6 And all of you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same
month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in
the evening.
12:7 그 피로 양을 먹을 집 문 좌우 설주와 인방에 바르고
12:7 Then take some of the blood and put it on the two sides of the door and over the
door of the house where the meal is to be taken.
12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts
and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.
12:8 그 밤에 그 고기를 불에 구워 무교병과 쓴 나물과 아울러 먹되
12:8 And let your food that night be the flesh of the lamb, cooked with fire in the oven,
together with unleavened bread and bitter-tasting plants.
12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened
bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.
12:9 날로나 물에 삶아서나 먹지 말고 그 머리와 정강이와 내장을 다 불에 구워
먹고
12:9 Do not take it uncooked or cooked with boiling water, but let it be cooked in the
oven; its head with its legs and its inside parts.
12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire;
his head with his legs, and with the inwards thereof.
12:10 아침까지 남겨두지 말며 아침까지 남은 것은 곧 소화하라
12:10 Do not keep any of it till the morning; anything which is not used is to be burned
with fire.
12:10 And all of you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and
that which remains of it until the morning all of you shall burn with fire.
12:11 너희는 그것을 이렇게 먹을지니 허리에 띠를 띠고 발에 신을 신고 손에
지팡이를 잡고 급히 먹으라 이것이 여호와의 유월절이니라
12:11 And take your meal dressed as if for a journey, with your shoes on your feet and
your sticks in your hands: take it quickly: it is the Lord's Passover.
12:11 And thus shall all of you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes
on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and all of you shall eat it in haste:
it is the LORD's passover.
12:12 내가 그 밤에 애굽 땅에 두루 다니며 사람과 짐승을 무론하고 애굽 나라
가운데 처음 난 것을 다 치고 애굽의 모든 신에게 벌을 내리리라 나는 여호와로라
12:12 For on that night I will go through the land of Egypt, sending death on every first
male child, of man and of beast, and judging all the gods of Egypt: I am the Lord.
12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will strike
all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all
the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.
12:13 내가 애굽 땅을 칠 때에 그 피가 너희의 거하는 집에 있어서 너희를 위하여
표적이 될지라 내가 피를 볼 때에 너희를 넘어가리니 재앙이 너희에게 내려 멸하지
아니하리라
12:13 And the blood will be a sign on the houses where you are: when I see the blood I
will go over you, and no evil will come on you for your destruction, when my hand
is on the land of Egypt.
12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where all
of you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall
not be upon you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.
12:14 너희는 이 날을 기념하여 여호와의 절기를 삼아 영원한 규례로 대대에 지킬지니라
12:14 And this day is to be kept in your memories: you are to keep it as a feast to the
Lord through all your generations, as an order for ever.
12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and all of you shall
keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; all of you shall keep
it a feast by an ordinance for ever.
12:15 ○ 너희는 칠 일 동안 무교병을 먹을지니 그 첫날에 누룩을 너희 집에서 제하라
무릇 첫날부터 칠 일까지 유교병을 먹는 자는 이스라엘에서 끊쳐지리라
12:15 For seven days let your food be unleavened bread; from the first day no leaven is
to be seen in your houses: whoever takes bread with leaven in it, from the first
till the seventh day, will be cut off from Israel.
12:15 Seven days shall all of you eat unleavened bread; even the first day
all of you shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats leavened
bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from
Israel.
12:16 너희에게 첫날에도 성회요 제 칠 일에도 성회가 되리니 이 두 날에는 아무
일도 하지 말고 각인의 식물만 너희가 갖출 것이니라
12:16 And on the first day there is to be a holy meeting and on the seventh day a holy
meeting; no sort of work may be done on those days but only to make ready what is
necessary for everyone's food.
12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the
seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall
be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of
you.
12:17 너희는 무교절을 지키라 이 날에 내가 너희 군대를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여
내었음이니라 그러므로 너희가 영원한 규례를 삼아 이 날을 대대로 지킬지니라
12:17 So keep the feast of unleavened bread; for on this very day I have taken your armies
out of the land of Egypt: this day, then, is to be kept through all your generations
by an order for ever.
12:17 And all of you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in
this very same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore
shall all of you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.
12:18 정월에 그 달 십 사 일 저녁부터 이십 일 일 저녁까지 너희는 무교병을 먹을
것이요
12:18 In the first month, from the evening of the fourteenth day, let your food be unleavened
bread till the evening of the twenty-first day of the month.
12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, all
of you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month
at even.
12:19 칠 일 동안은 누룩을 너희 집에 있지 않게 하라 무릇 유교물을 먹는 자는
타국인이든지 본국에서 난 자든지 무론하고 이스라엘 회중에서 끊쳐지리니
12:19 For seven days no leaven is to be seen in your houses: for whoever takes bread which
is leavened will be cut off from the people of Israel, if he is from another country
or if he is an Israelite by birth.
12:19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever
eats that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation
of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.
12:20 너희는 아무 유교물이든지 먹지 말고 너희 모든 유하는 곳에서 무교병을
먹을지니라
12:20 Take nothing which has leaven in it; wherever you are living let your food be unleavened
cakes.
12:20 All of you shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall
all of you eat unleavened bread.
12:21 ○ 모세가 이스라엘 모든 장로를 불러서 그들에게 이르되 너희는 나가서
너희 가족대로 어린 양을 택하여 유월절 양으로 잡고
12:21 Then Moses sent for the chiefs of Israel, and said to them, See that lambs are marked
out for yourselves and your families, and let the Passover lamb be put to death.
12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them,
Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.
12:22 너희는 우슬초 묶음을 취하여 그릇에 담은 피에 적시어서 그 피를 문 인방과
좌우 설주에 뿌리고 아침까지 한 사람도 자기 집 문 밖에 나가지 말라
12:22 And take some hyssop and put it in the blood in the basin, touching the two sides
and the top of the doorway with the blood from the basin; and let not one of you
go out of his house till the morning.
12:22 And all of you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood
that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the
blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his
house until the morning.
12:23 여호와께서 애굽 사람을 치러 두루 다니실 때에 문 인방과 좌우 설주의
피를 보시면 그 문을 넘으시고 멸하는 자로 너희 집에 들어가서 너희를 치지 못하게
하실 것임이니라
12:23 For the Lord will go through the land, sending death on the Egyptians; and when
he sees the blood on the two sides and the top of the door, the Lord will go over
your door and will not let death come in for your destruction.
12:23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he
sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass
over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses
to strike you.
12:24 너희는 이 일을 규례로 삼아 너희와 너희 자손이 영원히 지킬 것이니
12:24 And you are to keep this as an order to you and to your sons for ever.
12:24 And all of you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and
to your sons for ever.
12:25 너희는 여호와께서 허락하신 대로 너희에게 주시는 땅에 이를 때에 이 예식을
지킬 것이라
12:25 And when you come into the land which the Lord will make yours, as he gave his word,
you are to keep this act of worship.
12:25 And it shall come to pass, when all of you be come to the land which
the LORD will give you, according as he has promised, that all of you shall
keep this service.
12:26 이 후에 너희 자녀가 묻기를 이 예식이 무슨 뜻이냐 하거든
12:26 And when your children say to you, What is the reason of this act of worship?
12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What
mean all of you by this service?
12:27 너희는 이르기를 이는 여호와의 유월절 제사라 여호와께서 애굽 사람을
치실 때에 애굽에 있는 이스라엘 자손의 집을 넘으사 우리의 집을 구원하셨느니라
하라 하매 백성이 머리 숙여 경배하니라
12:27 Then you will say, This is the offering of the Lord's Passover; for he went over
the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he sent death on the Egyptians,
and kept our families safe. And the people gave worship with bent heads.
12:27 That all of you shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover,
who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he stroke
the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.
12:28 이스라엘 자손이 물러가서 그대로 행하되 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 명하신
대로
행하니라
12:28 And the children of Israel went and did so; as the Lord had given orders to Moses
and Aaron, so they did.
12:28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded
Moses and Aaron, so did they.
12:29 ○ 밤중에 여호와께서 애굽 땅에서 모든 처음 난 것 곧 위에 앉은 바로의
장자로부터 옥에 갇힌 사람의 장자까지와 생축의 처음 난 것을 다 치시매
12:29 And in the middle of the night the Lord sent death on every first male child in
the land of Egypt, from the child of Pharaoh on his seat of power to the child of
the prisoner in the prison; and the first births of all the cattle.
12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD stroke all the firstborn
in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto
the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn
of cattle.
12:30 그 밤에 바로와 그 모든 신하와 모든 애굽 사람이 일어나고 애굽에 큰 호곡이
있었으니 이는 그 나라에 사망치 아니한 집이 하나도 없었음이었더라
12:30 Then Pharaoh got up in the night, he and all his servants and all the Egyptians;
and a great cry went up from Egypt; for there was not a house where someone was
not dead.
12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all
the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house
where there was not one dead.
12:31 밤에 바로가 모세와 아론을 불러서 이르되 너희와 이스라엘 자손은 일어나
내 백성 가운데서 떠나서 너희의 말대로 가서 여호와를 섬기며
12:31 And he sent for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Get up and go out from among
my people, you and the children of Israel; go and give worship to the Lord as you
have said.
12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and
get you forth from among my people, both all of you and the children of Israel;
and go, serve the LORD, as all of you have said.
12:32 너희의 말대로 너희의 양도 소도 몰아가고 나를 위하여 축복하라 하며
12:32 And take your flocks and your herds as you have said, and be gone; and give me your
blessing.
12:32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as all of you have said, and
be gone; and bless me also.
12:33 애굽 사람들은 말하기를 우리가 다 죽은 자가 되도다 하고 백성을 재촉하여
그 지경에서 속히 보내려 하므로
12:33 And the Egyptians were forcing the people on, to get them out of the land quickly;
for they said, We are all dead men.
12:33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send
them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.
12:34 백성이 발교되지 못한 반죽 담은 그릇을 옷에 싸서 어깨에 메니라
12:34 And the people took their bread-paste before it was leavened, putting their basins
in their clothing on their backs.
12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading
troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.
12:35 이스라엘 자손이 모세의 말대로 하여 애굽 사람에게 은금 패물과 의복을
구하매
12:35 And the children of Israel had done as Moses had said; and they got from the Egyptians
ornaments of silver and of gold, and clothing:
12:35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and
they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:
12:36 여호와께서 애굽 사람으로 백성에게 은혜를 입히게 하사 그들의 구하는 대로
주게 하시므로 그들이 애굽 사람의 물품을 취하였더라
12:36 And the Lord had given the people grace in the eyes of the Egyptians so that they
gave them whatever was requested. So they took away all their goods from the Egyptians.
12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians,
so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the
Egyptians.
12:37 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 라암셋에서 발행하여 숙곳에 이르니 유아 외에 보행하는
장정이 육십만 가량이요
12:37 And the children of Israel made the journey from Rameses to Succoth; there were
about six hundred thousand men on foot, as well as children.
12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about
six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.
12:38 중다한 잡족과 양과 소와 심히 많은 생축이 그들과 함께 하였으며
12:38 And a mixed band of people went with them; and flocks and herds in great numbers.
12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds,
even very much cattle.
12:39 그들이 가지고 나온 발교되지 못한 반죽으로 무교병을 구웠으니 이는 그들이
애굽에서 쫓겨남으로 지체할 수 없었음이며 아무 양식도 준비하지 못하였음이었더라
12:39 And they made unleavened cakes from the paste which they had taken out of Egypt;
it was not leavened, for they had been sent out of Egypt so quickly, that they had
no time to make any food ready.
12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth
out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt,
and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.
12:40 이스라엘 자손이 애굽에 거주한 지 사백 삼십 년이라
12:40 Now the children of Israel had been living in Egypt for four hundred and thirty
years.
12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was
four hundred and thirty years.
12:41 사백 삼십 년이 마치는 그 날에 여호와의 군대가 다 애굽 땅에서 나왔은즉
12:41 And at the end of four hundred and thirty years, to the very day, all the armies
of the Lord went out of the land of Egypt.
12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years,
even the very same day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went
out from the land of Egypt.
12:42 이 밤은 그들을 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내심을 인하여 여호와 앞에 지킬
것이니 이는 여호와의 밤이라 이스라엘 자손이 다 대대로 지킬 것이니라
12:42 It is a watch-night before the Lord who took them out of the land of Egypt: this
same night is a watch-night to the Lord for all the children of Israel, through
all their generations.
12:42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out
from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all
the children of Israel in their generations.
12:43 ○ 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 이르시되 유월절 규례가 이러하니라 이방
사람은 먹지 못할 것이나
12:43 And the Lord said to Moses and Aaron, This is the law of the Passover: no man who
is not an Israelite is to take of it:
12:43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the
passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:
12:44 각 사람이 돈으로 산 종은 할례를 받은 후에 먹을 것이며
12:44 But every man's servant, whom he has got for money, may take of it, when he has
had circumcision.
12:44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised
him, then shall he eat thereof.
12:45 거류인과 타국 품군은 먹지 못하리라
12:45 A man from a strange country living among you, and a servant working for payment,
may not take part in it.
12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.
12:46 한 집에서 먹되 그 고기를 조금도 집 밖으로 내지 말고 뼈도 꺾지 말지며
12:46 It is to be taken in one house; not a bit of the flesh is to be taken out of the
house, and no bone of it may be broken.
12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of
the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall all of you break a bone thereof.
12:47 이스라엘 회중이 다 이것을 지킬지니라
12:47 All Israel is to keep the feast.
12:47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.
12:48 너희와 함께 거하는 타국인이 여호와의 유월절을 지키고자 하거든 그 모든
남자는 할례를 받은 후에야 가까이 하여 지킬지니 곧 그는 본토인과 같이 될 것이나
할례 받지 못한 자는 먹지 못할 것이니라
12:48 And if a man from another country is living with you, and has a desire to keep the
Passover to the Lord, let all the males of his family undergo circumcision, and
then let him come near and keep it; for he will then be as one of your people; but
no one without circumcision may keep it.
12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover
to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and
keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised
person shall eat thereof.
12:49 본토인에게나 너희 중에 우거한 이방인에게나 이 법이 동일하니라 하셨으므로
12:49 The law is the same for him who is an Israelite by birth and for the man from a
strange country who is living with you.
12:49 One law shall be to him that is native, and unto the stranger that
sojourns among you.
12:50 온 이스라엘 자손이 이와 같이 행하되 여호와께서 모세와 아론에게 명하신
대로
행하였으며
12:50 So the children of Israel did as the Lord gave orders to Moses and Aaron.
12:50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and
Aaron, so did they.
12:51 그 같은 날에 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손을 그 군대대로 애굽 땅에서 인도하여
내셨더라
12:51 And on that very day the Lord took the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt
by their armies.
12:51 And it came to pass the very same day, that the LORD did bring the
children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.
13:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
13:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
13:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
13:2 이스라엘 자손 중에 사람이나 짐승이나 무론하고 초태생은 다 거룩히 구별하여
내게 돌리라 이는 내 것이니라 하시니라
13:2 Let the first male child of every mother among the children of Israel be kept holy
for me, even the first male birth among man or beast; for it is mine.
13:2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among
the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.
13:3 모세가 백성에게 이르되 너희는 애굽에서 곧 종 되었던 집에서 나온 그 날을
기념하여 유교병을 먹지 말라 여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로 너희를 그 곳에서 인도하여
내셨음이니라
13:3 And Moses said to the people, Let this day, on which you came out of Egypt, out
of your prison-house, be kept for ever in memory; for by the strength of his hand
the Lord has taken you out from this place; let no leavened bread be used.
13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which all of you
came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the
LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.
13:4 아빕월 이 날에 너희가 나왔으니
13:4 On this day, in the month Abib, you are going out.
13:4 This day came all of you out in the month Abib.
13:5 여호와께서 너를 인도하여 가나안 사람과 헷 사람과 아모리 사람과 히위
사람과 여부스 사람의 땅 곧 네게 주시려고 네 조상들에게 맹세하신 바 젖과 꿀이
흐르는 땅에 이르게 하시거든 너는 이 달에 이 예식을 지켜
13:5 And it will be that, when the Lord takes you into the land of the Canaanite and
the Hittite and the Amorite and the Hivite and the Jebusite, the land which he made
an oath to your fathers that he would give you, a land flowing with milk and honey,
you will do this act of worship in this month.
13:5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites,
and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which
he swore unto your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey,
that you shall keep this service in this month.
13:6 칠 일 동안 무교병을 먹고 제 칠 일에는 여호와께 절기를 지키라
13:6 For seven days let your food be unleavened cakes; and on the seventh day there is
to be a feast to the Lord.
13:6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall
be a feast to the LORD.
13:7 칠 일 동안에는 무교병을 먹고 유교병을 너희 곳에 있게 하지 말며 네 지경
안에서 누룩을 네게 보이지도 말게 하며
13:7 Unleavened cakes are to be your food through all the seven days; let no leavened
bread be seen among you, or any leaven, in any part of your land.
13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened
bread be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your
quarters.
13:8 너는 그 날에 네 아들에게 뵈어 이르기를 이 예식은 내가 애굽에서 나올
때에 여호와께서 나를 위하여 행하신 일을 인함이라 하고
13:8 And you will say to your son in that day, It is because of what the Lord did for
me when I came out of Egypt.
13:8 And you shall show your son in that day, saying, This is done because
of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.
13:9 이것으로 네 손의 기호와 네 미간의 표를 삼고 여호와의 율법으로 네 입에
있게 하라 이는 여호와께서 능하신 손으로 너를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨음이니
13:9 And this will be for a sign to you on your hand and for a mark on your brow, so
that the law of the Lord may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand the Lord took
you out of Egypt.
13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto you upon yours hand, and for a memorial
between yours eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: for with a strong
hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.
13:10 연년이 기한에 이르러 이 규례를 지킬지니라
13:10 So let this order be kept, at the right time, from year to year.
13:10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to
year.
13:11 ○ 여호와께서 너와 네 조상에게 맹세하신 대로 너를 가나안 사람의 땅에
인도하시고 그 땅을 네게 주시거든
13:11 And when the Lord takes you into the land of Canaan, as he made his oath to you
and to your fathers, and gives it to you,
13:11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the
Canaanites, as he swore unto you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,
13:12 너는 무릇 초태생과 네게 있는 생축의 초태생을 다 구별하여 여호와께 돌리라
수컷은 여호와의 것이니라
13:12 You are to put on one side for the Lord every mother's first male child, the first-fruit
of her body, and the first young one of every beast; every male is holy to the Lord.
13:12 That you shall set apart unto the LORD all that opens the womb, and
every first born that comes of a beast which you have; the males shall be the
LORD's.
13:13 나귀의 첫 새끼는 다 어린 양으로 대속할 것이요 그렇게 아니하려면 그 목을
꺾을 것이며 너의 아들 중 모든 장자 된 자는 다 대속할지니라
13:13 And for the young of an ass you may give a lamb in payment, or if you will not make
payment for it, its neck is to be broken; but for all the first sons among your
children, let payment be made.
13:13 And every first born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb; and if
you will not redeem it, then you shall break his neck: and all the firstborn
of man among your children shall you redeem.
13:14 장래에 네 아들이 네게 묻기를 이것이 어찜이냐 하거든 너는 그에게 이르기를
여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로 우리를 애굽에서 곧 종이 되었던 집에서 인도하여 내실새
13:14 And when your son says to you in time to come, What is the reason for this? say
to him, By the strength of his hand the Lord took us out of Egypt, out of the prison-house:
13:14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What
is this? that you shall say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us
out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:
13:15 그 때에 바로가 강퍅하여 우리를 보내지 아니하매 여호와께서 애굽 나라
가운데 처음 낳은 것을 사람의 장자로부터 생축의 처음 낳은 것까지 다 죽이신 고로
초태생의 수컷은 다 여호와께 희생으로 드리고 우리 장자는 다 대속하나니
13:15 And when Pharaoh made his heart hard and would not let us go, the Lord sent death
on all the first sons in Egypt, of man and of beast: and so every first male who
comes to birth is offered to the Lord; but for all the first of my sons I give a
price.
13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the
LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man,
and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens
the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.
13:16 이것으로 네 손의 기호와 네 미간의 표를 삼으라 여호와께서 그 손의 권능으로
우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨음이니라 할지니라
13:16 And this will be for a sign on your hand and for a mark on your brow: for by the
strength of his hand the Lord took us out of Egypt.
13:16 And it shall be for a token upon yours hand, and for frontlets between
yours eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.
13:17 ○ 바로가 백성을 보낸 후에 블레셋 사람의 땅의 길은 가까울지라도 하나님이
그들을 그 길로 인도하지 아니하셨으니 이는 하나님이 말씀하시기를 이 백성이 전쟁을
보면 뉘우쳐 애굽으로 돌아갈까 하셨음이라
13:17 Now after Pharaoh had let the people go, God did not take them through the land
of the Philistines, though that was near: for God said, If the people see war, they
may have a change of heart and go back to Egypt.
13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led
them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near;
for God said, Lest possibly the people repent when they see war, and they return
to Egypt:
13:18 그러므로 하나님이 홍해의 광야 길로 돌려 백성을 인도하시매 이스라엘
자손이 애굽 땅에서 항오를 지어 나올 때에
13:18 But God took the people round by the waste land near the Red Sea: and the children
of Israel went up in fighting order out of the land of Egypt.
13:18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of
the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of
Egypt.
13:19 모세가 요셉의 해골을 취하였으니 이는 요셉이 이스라엘 자손으로 단단히
맹세케 하여 이르기를 하나님이 필연 너희를 권고하시리니 너희는 나의 해골을 여기서
가지고 나가라 하였음이었더라
13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him, for Joseph had made the children of
Israel take an oath, saying, God will certainly keep you in mind; and you are to
take my bones away with you.
13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had strictly sworn
the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and all of you shall
carry up my bones away behind with you.
13:20 그들이 숙곳에서 발행하여 광야 끝 에담에 장막을 치니
13:20 Then they went on their journey from Succoth, and put up their tents in Etham at
the edge of the waste land.
13:20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in
the edge of the wilderness.
13:21 여호와께서 그들 앞에 행하사 낮에는 구름 기둥으로 그들의 길을 인도하시고
밤에는 불 기둥으로 그들에게 비취사 주야로 진행하게 하시니
13:21 And the Lord went before them by day in a pillar of cloud, guiding them on their
way; and by night in a pillar of fire to give them light: so that they were able
to go on day and night:
13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead
them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by
day and night:
13:22 낮에는 구름 기둥, 밤에는 불 기둥이 백성 앞에서 떠나지 아니하니라
13:22 The pillar of cloud went ever before them by day, and the pillar of fire by night.
13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of
fire by night, from before the people.
14:1 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
14:1 And the Lord said to Moses,
14:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
14:2 이스라엘 자손을 명하여 돌쳐서 바다와 믹돌 사이의 비하히롯 앞 곧 바알스본
맞은편 바다가에 장막을 치게 하라
14:2 Give orders to the children of Israel to go back and put up their tents before Pi-hahiroth,
between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon, opposite to which you are to
put up your tents by the sea.
14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pihahiroth,
between Migdol and the sea, opposite to Baalzephon: before it shall all of you
camp by the sea.
14:3 바로가 이스라엘 자손에 대하여 말하기를 그들이 그 땅에서 아득하여 광야에
갇힌 바 되었다 할지라
14:3 And Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are wandering without direction,
they are shut in by the waste land.
14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in
the land, the wilderness has shut them in.
14:4 내가 바로의 마음을 강퍅케 한즉 바로가 그들의 뒤를 따르리니 내가 그와
그 온 군대를 인하여 영광을 얻어 애굽 사람으로 나를 여호와인 줄 알게 하리라 하시매
무리가 그대로 행하니라
14:4 And I will make Pharaoh's heart hard, and he will come after them and I will be
honoured over Pharaoh and all his army, so that the Egyptians may see that I am
the Lord. And they did so.
14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them;
and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians
may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.
14:5 혹이 백성의 도망한 것을 애굽 왕에게 고하매 바로와 그 신하들이 백성에
대하여 마음이 변하여 가로되 우리가 어찌 이같이 하여 이스라엘을 우리를 섬김에서
놓아 보내었는고 하고
14:5 And word came to Pharaoh of the flight of the people: and the feeling of Pharaoh
and of his servants about the people was changed, and they said, Why have we let
Israel go, so that they will do no more work for us?
14:5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart
of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said,
Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?
14:6 바로가 곧 그 병거를 갖추고 그 백성을 데리고 갈새
14:6 So he had his war-carriage made ready and took his people with him:
14:6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:
14:7 특별 병거 육백 승과 애굽의 모든 병거를 발하니 장관들이 다 거느렸더라
14:7 And he took six hundred carriages, all the carriages of Egypt, and captains over
all of them.
14:7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt,
and captains over every one of them.
14:8 여호와께서 애굽 왕 바로의 마음을 강퍅케 하셨으므로 그가 이스라엘 자손의
뒤를 따르니 이스라엘 자손이 담대히 나갔음이라
14:8 And the Lord made the heart of Pharaoh hard, and he went after the children of Israel:
for the children of Israel had gone out without fear.
14:8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued
after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high
hand.
14:9 애굽 사람들과 바로의 말들 병거들과 그 마병과 그 군대가 그들의 뒤를 따라
바알스본 맞은편 비하히롯 곁 해변 그 장막 친 데 미치니라
14:9 But the Egyptians went after them, all the horses and carriages of Pharaoh, and
his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them in their tents by the sea, by Pihahiroth,
before Baal-zephon.
14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of
Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the
sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.
14:10 ○ 바로가 가까와 올 때에 이스라엘 자손이 눈을 들어 본즉 애굽 사람들이
자기 뒤에 미친지라 이스라엘 자손이 심히 두려워하여 여호와께 부르짖고
14:10 And when Pharaoh came near, the children of Israel, lifting up their eyes, saw the
Egyptians coming after them, and were full of fear; and their cry went up to God.
14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their
eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid:
and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.
14:11 그들이 또 모세에게 이르되 애굽에 매장지가 없으므로 당신이 우리를 이끌어
내어 이 광야에서 죽게 하느뇨 어찌하여 당신이 우리를 애굽에서 이끌어 내어 이같이
우리에게 하느뇨
14:11 And they said to Moses, Was there no resting-place for the dead in Egypt, that you
have taken us away to come to our death in the waste land? why have you taken us
out of Egypt?
14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, have
you taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore have you dealt thus with
us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?
14:12 우리가 애굽에서 당신에게 고한 말이 이것이 아니뇨 이르기를 우리를 버려두라
우리가 애굽 사람을 섬길 것이라 하지 아니하더뇨 애굽 사람을 섬기는 것이 광야에서
죽는 것보다 낫겠노라
14:12 Did we not say to you in Egypt, Let us be as we are, working for the Egyptians?
for it is better to be the servants of the Egyptians than to come to our death in
the waste land.
14:12 Is not this the word that we did tell you in Egypt, saying, Let us
alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve
the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.
14:13 모세가 백성에게 이르되 너희는 두려워 말고 가만히 서서 여호와께서 오늘날
너희를 위하여 행하시는 구원을 보라 너희가 오늘 본 애굽 사람을 또 다시는 영원히
보지 못하리라
14:13 But Moses said, Keep where you are and have no fear; now you will see the salvation
of the Lord which he will give you today; for the Egyptians whom you see today you
will never see again.
14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear all of you not, stand still, and
see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians
whom all of you have seen to day, all of you shall see them again no more for
ever.
14:14 여호와께서 너희를 위하여 싸우시리니 너희는 가만히 있을지니라
14:14 The Lord will make war for you, you have only to keep quiet.
14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and all of you shall hold your peace.
14:15 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 어찌하여 내게 부르짖느뇨 이스라엘
자손을 명하여 앞으로 나가게 하고
14:15 And the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to me? give the children of Israel
the order to go forward.
14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore cry you unto me? speak unto
the children of Israel, that they go forward:
14:16 지팡이를 들고 손을 바다 위로 내밀어 그것으로 갈라지게 하라 이스라엘
자손이 바다 가운데 육지로 행하리라
14:16 And let your rod be lifted up and your hand stretched out over the sea, and it will
be parted in two; and the children of Israel will go through on dry land.
14:16 But lift you up your rod, and stretch out yours hand over the sea,
and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the
midst of the sea.
14:17 내가 애굽 사람들의 마음을 강퍅케 할 것인즉 그들이 그 뒤를 따라 들어갈
것이라 내가 바로와 그 모든 군대와 그 병거와 마병을 인하여 영광을 얻으리니
14:17 And I will make the heart of the Egyptians hard, and they will go in after them:
and I will be honoured over Pharaoh and over his army, his war-carriages, and his
horsemen.
14:17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they
shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host,
upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
14:18 내가 바로와 그 병거와 마병으로 인하여 영광을 얻을 때에야 애굽 사람들이
나를 여호와인 줄 알리라 하시더니
14:18 And the Egyptians will see that I am the Lord, when I get honour over Pharaoh and
his war-carriages and his horsemen.
14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have got me
honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.
14:19 이스라엘 진 앞에 행하던 하나님의 사자가 옮겨 그 뒤로 행하매 구름 기둥도
앞에서 그 뒤로 옮겨
14:19 Then the angel of God, who had been before the tents of Israel, took his place at
their back; and the pillar of cloud, moving from before them, came to rest at their
back:
14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed
and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face,
and stood behind them:
14:20 애굽 진과 이스라엘 진 사이에 이르러 서니 저 편은 구름과 흑암이 있고
이 편은 밤이 광명하므로 밤새도록 저 편이 이 편에 가까이 못하였더라
14:20 And it came between the army of Egypt and the army of Israel; and there was a dark
cloud between them, and they went on through the night; but the one army came no
nearer to the other all the night.
14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel;
and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these:
so that the one came not near the other all the night.
14:21 ○ 모세가 바다 위로 손을 내어민대 여호와께서 큰 동풍으로 밤새도록 바닷물을
물러가게 하시니 물이 갈라져 바다가 마른 땅이 된지라
14:21 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, the Lord with a strong east
wind made the sea go back all night, and the waters were parted in two and the sea
became dry land.
14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused
the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry
land, and the waters were divided.
14:22 이스라엘 자손이 바다 가운데 육지로 행하고 물은 그들의 좌우에 벽이 되니
14:22 And the children of Israel went through the sea on dry land: and the waters were
a wall on their right side and on their left.
14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the
dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on
their left.
14:23 애굽 사람들과 바로의 말들, 병거들과 그 마병들이 다 그 뒤를 쫓아 바다
가운데로 들어오는지라
14:23 Then the Egyptians went after them into the middle of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses
and his war-carriages and his horsemen.
14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the
sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.
14:24 새벽에 여호와께서 불 구름 기둥 가운데서 애굽 군대를 보시고 그 군대를
어지럽게 하시며
14:24 And in the morning watch, the Lord, looking out on the armies of the Egyptians from
the pillar of fire and cloud, sent trouble on the army of the Egyptians;
14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto
the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled
the host of the Egyptians,
14:25 그 병거 바퀴를 벗겨서 달리기에 극난하게 하시니 애굽 사람들이 가로되
이스라엘 앞에서 우리가 도망하자 여호와가 그들을 위하여 싸워 애굽 사람들을 치는도다
14:25 And made the wheels of their war-carriages stiff, so that they had hard work driving
them: so the Egyptians said, Let us go in flight from before the face of Israel,
for the Lord is fighting for them against the Egyptians.
14:25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: so
that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights
for them against the Egyptians.
14:26 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 네 손을 바다 위로 내어밀어 물이 애굽
사람들과 그 병거들과 마병들 위에 다시 흐르게 하라 하시니
14:26 And the Lord said to Moses, Let your hand be stretched out over the sea, and the
waters will come back again on the Egyptians, and on their war-carriages and on
their horsemen.
14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out yours hand over the sea,
that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and
upon their horsemen.
14:27 모세가 곧 손을 바다 위로 내어밀매 새벽에 미쳐 바다의 그 세력이 회복된지라
애굽 사람들이 물을 거스려 도망하나 여호와께서 애굽 사람들을 바다 가운데 엎으시니
14:27 And when Moses' hand was stretched out over the sea, at dawn the sea came flowing
back, meeting the Egyptians in their flight, and the Lord sent destruction on the
Egyptians in the middle of the sea.
14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned
to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it;
and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.
14:28 물이 다시 흘러 병거들과 기병들을 덮되 그들의 뒤를 쫓아 바다에 들어간
바로의 군대를 다 덮고 하나도 남기지 아니하였더라
14:28 And the waters came back, covering the war-carriages and the horsemen and all the
army of Pharaoh which went after them into the middle of the sea; not one of them
was to be seen.
14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen,
and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained
not so much as one of them.
14:29 그러나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데 육지로 행하였고 물이 좌우에 벽이
되었었더라
14:29 But the children of Israel went through the sea walking on dry land, and the waters
were a wall on their right side and on their left.
14:29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the
sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their
left.
14:30 그 날에 여호와께서 이같이 이스라엘을 애굽 사람의 손에서 구원하시매
이스라엘이 바닷가의 애굽 사람의 시체를 보았더라
14:30 So that day the Lord gave Israel salvation from the hands of the Egyptians; and
Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the sea's edge.
14:30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians;
and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.
14:31 이스라엘이 여호와께서 애굽 사람들에게 베푸신 큰 일을 보았으므로 백성이
여호와를 경외하며 여호와와 그 종 모세를 믿었더라
14:31 And Israel saw the great work which the Lord had done against the Egyptians, and
the fear of the Lord came on the people and they had faith in the Lord and in his
servant Moses.
14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians:
and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
15:1 이 때에 모세와 이스라엘 자손이 이 노래로 여호와께 노래하니 일렀으되
내가 여호와를 찬송하리니 그는 높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다
15:1 Then Moses and the children of Israel made this song to the Lord, and said, I will
make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory: the horse and the horseman
he has sent down into the sea.
15:1 Then sang Moses and the children of Israel this song unto the LORD,
and spoke, saying, I will sing unto the LORD, for he has triumphed gloriously:
the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
15:2 여호와는 나의 힘이요 노래시며 나의 구원이시로다 그는 나의 하나님이시니
내가 그를 찬송할 것이요 내 아비의 하나님이시니 내가 그를 높이리로다
15:2 The Lord is my strength and my strong helper, he has become my salvation: he is
my God and I will give him praise; my father's God and I will give him glory.
15:2 The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he
is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will
exalt him.
15:3 여호와는 용사시니 여호와는 그의 이름이시로다
15:3 The Lord is a man of war: the Lord is his name.
15:3 The LORD is a man of war: the LORD is his name.
15:4 그가 바로의 병거와 그 군대를 바다에 던지시니 그 택한 장관이 홍해에
잠겼고
15:4 Pharaoh's war-carriages and his army he has sent down into the sea: the best of
his captains have gone down into the Red Sea.
15:4 Pharaoh's chariots and his host has he cast into the sea: his chosen
captains also are drowned in the Red sea.
15:5 큰 물이 그들을 덮으니 그들이 돌처럼 깊음에 내렸도다
15:5 They were covered by the deep waters: like a stone they went down under the waves.
15:5 The depths have covered them: they sank into the bottom as a stone.
15:6 여호와여 주의 오른손이 권능으로 영광을 나타내시니이다 여호와여
주의 오른손이 원수를 부수시니이다
15:6 Full of glory, O Lord, is the power of your right hand; by your right hand those
who came against you are broken.
15:6 Your right hand, O LORD, is become glorious in power: your right hand,
O LORD, has dashed in pieces the enemy.
15:7 주께서 주의 큰 위엄으로 주를 거스리는 자를 엎으시나이다 주께서
진노를 발하시니 그 진노가 그들을 초개 같이 사르니이다
15:7 When you are lifted up in power, all those who come against you are crushed: when
you send out your wrath, they are burned up like dry grass.
15:7 And in the greatness of yours excellency you have overthrown them that
rose up against you: you sent forth your wrath, which consumed them as stubble.
15:8 주의 콧김에 물이 쌓이되 파도가 언덕 같이 일어서고 큰 물이 바다
가운데 엉기니이다
15:8 By your breath the waves were massed together, the flowing waters were lifted up
like a pillar; the deep waters became solid in the heart of the sea.
15:8 And with the blast of your nostrils the waters were gathered together,
the floods stood upright as an heap, and the depths were congealed in the heart
of the sea.
15:9 대적의 말이 내가 쫓아 미쳐 탈취물을 나누리라 내가 그들로 인하여
내 마음을 채우리라 내가 내 칼을 빼리니 내 손이 그들을 멸하리라 하였으나
15:9 Egypt said, I will go after them, I will overtake, I will make division of their
goods: my desire will have its way with them; my sword will be uncovered, my hand
will send destruction on them.
15:9 The enemy said, I will pursue, I will overtake, I will divide the spoil;
my lust shall be satisfied upon them; I will draw my sword, my hand shall destroy
them.
15:10 주께서 주의 바람을 일으키시매 바다가 그들을 덮으니 그들이 흉용한
물에 납 같이 잠겼나이다
15:10 You sent your wind and the sea came over them: they went down like lead into the
great waters.
15:10 You did blow with your wind, the sea covered them: they sank as lead
in the mighty waters.
15:11 여호와여 신 중에 주와 같은 자 누구니이까 주와 같이 거룩함에 영광스러우며
찬송할 만한 위엄이 있으며 기이한 일을 행하는 자 누구니이까
15:11 Who is like you, O Lord, among the gods? who is like you, in holy glory, to be praised
with fear, doing wonders?
15:11 Who is like unto you, O LORD, among the gods? who is like you, glorious
in holiness, fearful in praises, doing wonders?
15:12 주께서 오른손을 드신즉 땅이 그들을 삼켰나이다
15:12 When your right hand was stretched out, the mouth of the earth was open for them.
15:12 You stretched out your right hand, the earth swallowed them.
15:13 주께서 그 구속하신 백성을 은혜로 인도하시되 주의 힘으로 그들을
주의 성결한 처소에 들어가게 하시나이다
15:13 In your mercy you went before the people whom you have made yours; guiding them
in your strength to your holy place.
15:13 You in your mercy have led forth the people which you have redeemed:
you have guided them in your strength unto your holy habitation.
15:14 열방이 듣고 떨며 블레셋 거민이 두려움에 잡히며
15:14 Hearing of you the peoples were shaking in fear: the people of Philistia were gripped
with pain.
15:14 The people shall hear, and be afraid: sorrow shall take hold on the
inhabitants of Palestina.
15:15 에돔 방백이 놀라고 모압 영웅이 떨림에 잡히며 가나안 거민이 다
낙담하나이다
15:15 The chiefs of Edom were troubled in heart; the strong men of Moab were in the grip
of fear: all the people of Canaan became like water.
15:15 Then the dukes of Edom shall be amazed; the mighty men of Moab, trembling
shall take hold upon them; all the inhabitants of Canaan shall melt away.
15:16 놀람과 두려움이 그들에게 미치매 주의 팔이 큼을 인하여 그들이
돌 같이 고요하였사오되 여호와여 주의 백성이 통과하기까지 곧 주의 사신 백성이
통과하기까지였나이다
15:16 Fear and grief came on them; by the strength of your arm they were turned to stone;
till your people went over, O Lord, till the people went over whom you have made
yours.
15:16 Fear and dread shall fall upon them; by the greatness of yours arm
they shall be as still as a stone; till your people pass over, O LORD, till
the people pass over, which you have purchased.
15:17 주께서 백성을 인도하사 그들을 주의 기업의 산에 심으시리이다 여호와여
이는 주의 처소를 삼으시려고 예비하신 것이라 주여 이것이 주의 손으로 세우신 성소로소이다
15:17 You will take them in, planting them in the mountain of your heritage, the place,
O Lord, where you have made your house, the holy place, O Lord, the building of
your hands.
15:17 You shall bring them in, and plant them in the mountain of yours inheritance,
in the place, O LORD, which you have made for you to dwell in, in the Sanctuary,
O LORD, which your hands have established.
15:18 여호와의 다스리심이 영원무궁하시도다 하였더라
15:18 The Lord is King for ever and ever.
15:18 The LORD shall reign for ever and ever.
15:19 ○ 바로의 말과 병거와 마병이 함께 바다에 들어가매 여호와께서 바닷물로
그들 위에 돌이켜 흐르게 하셨으나 이스라엘 자손은 바다 가운데서 육지로 행한지라
15:19 For the horses of Pharaoh, with his war-carriages and his horsemen, went into the
sea, and the Lord sent the waters of the sea back over them; but the children of
Israel went through the sea on dry land.
15:19 For the horse of Pharaoh went in with his chariots and with his horsemen
into the sea, and the LORD brought again the waters of the sea upon them; but
the children of Israel went on dry land in the midst of the sea.
15:20 아론의 누이 선지자 미리암이 손에 소고를 잡으매 모든 여인도 그를 따라
나오며 소고를 잡고 춤추니
15:20 And Miriam, the woman prophet, the sister of Aaron, took an instrument of music
in her hand; and all the women went after her with music and dances.
15:20 And Miriam the prophetess, the sister of Aaron, took a timbrel in her
hand; and all the women went out after her with timbrels and with dances.
15:21 미리암이 그들에게 화답하여 가로되 너희는 여호와를 찬송하라 그는
높고 영화로우심이요 말과 그 탄 자를 바다에 던지셨음이로다 하였더라
15:21 And Miriam, answering, said, Make a song to the Lord, for he is lifted up in glory;
the horse and the horseman he has sent into the sea.
15:21 And Miriam answered them, Sing all of you to the LORD, for he has triumphed
gloriously; the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea.
15:22 ○ 모세가 홍해에서 이스라엘을 인도하매 그들이 나와서 수르 광야로 들어가서
거기서 사흘 길을 행하였으나 물을 얻지 못하고
15:22 Then Moses took Israel forward from the Red Sea, and they went out into the waste
land of Shur; and for three days they were in the waste land where there was no
water.
15:22 So Moses brought Israel from the Red sea, and they went out into the
wilderness of Shur; and they went three days in the wilderness, and found no
water.
15:23 마라에 이르렀더니 그 곳 물이 써서 마시지 못하겠으므로 그 이름을 마라라
하였더라
15:23 And when they came to Marah, the water was no good for drinking, for the waters
of Marah were bitter, which is why it was named Marah.
15:23 And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of
Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.
15:24 백성이 모세를 대하여 원망하여 가로되 우리가 무엇을 마실까 하매
15:24 And the people, crying out against Moses, said, What are we to have for drink?
15:24 And the people murmured against Moses, saying, What shall we drink?
15:25 모세가 여호와께 부르짖었더니 여호와께서 그에게 한 나무를 지시하시니
그가 물에 던지매 물이 달아졌더라 거기서 여호와께서 그들을 위하여 법도와 율례를
정하시고 그들을 시험하실새
15:25 And in answer to his prayer, the Lord made him see a tree, and when he put it into
the water, the water was made sweet. There he gave them a law and an order, testing
them;
15:25 And he cried unto the LORD; and the LORD showed him a tree, which when
he had cast into the waters, the waters were made sweet: there he made for them
a statute and an ordinance, and there he proved them,
15:26 가라사대 너희가 너희 하나님 나 여호와의 말을 청종하고 나의 보기에 의를
행하며 내 계명에 귀를 기울이며 내 모든 규례를 지키면 내가 애굽 사람에게 내린
모든 질병의 하나도 너희에게 내리지 아니하리니 나는 너희를 치료하는 여호와임이니라
15:26 And he said, If with all your heart you will give attention to the voice of the
Lord your God, and do what is right in his eyes, giving ear to his orders and keeping
his laws, I will not put on you any of the diseases which I put on the Egyptians:
for I am the Lord your life-giver.
15:26 And said, If you will diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD your
God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will give ear to his
commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon
you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that heals you.
15:27 ○ 그들이 엘림에 이르니 거기 물샘 열 둘과 종려 칠십 주가 있는지라 거기서
그들이 그 물 곁에 장막을 치니라
15:27 And they came to Elim where there were twelve water-springs and seventy palm-trees:
and they put up their tents there by the waters.
15:27 And they came to Elim, where were twelve wells of water, and threescore
and ten palm trees: and they encamped there by the waters.
16:1 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 엘림에서 떠나 엘림과 시내 산 사이 신 광야에
이르니 애굽에서 나온 후 제 이 월 십 오 일이라
16:1 And they went on their way from Elim, and all the children of Israel came into the
waste land of Sin, which is between Elim and Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the
second month after they went out of the land of Egypt.
16:1 And they took their journey from Elim, and all the congregation of the
children of Israel came unto the wilderness of Sin, which is between Elim and
Sinai, on the fifteenth day of the second month after their departing out of
the land of Egypt.
16:2 이스라엘 온 회중이 그 광야에서 모세와 아론을 원망하여
16:2 And all the children of Israel were crying out against Moses and Aaron in the waste
land:
16:2 And the whole congregation of the children of Israel murmured against
Moses and Aaron in the wilderness:
16:3 그들에게 이르되 우리가 애굽 땅에서 고기 가마 곁에 앉았던 때와 떡을 배불리
먹던 때에 여호와의 손에 죽었더면 좋았을 것을 너희가 이 광야로 우리를 인도하여
내어 이 온 회중으로 주려 죽게 하는도다
16:3 And the children of Israel said to them, It would have been better for the Lord
to have put us to death in the land of Egypt, where we were seated by the flesh-pots
and had bread enough for our needs; for you have taken us out to this waste of sand,
to put all this people to death through need of food.
16:3 And the children of Israel said unto them, Would to God we had died
by the hand of the LORD in the land of Egypt, when we sat by the flesh pots,
and when we did eat bread to the full; for all of you have brought us forth
into this wilderness, to kill this whole assembly with hunger.
16:4 ○ 때에 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 보라 내가 너희를 위하여 하늘에서
양식을 비 같이 내리리니 백성이 나가서 일용할 것을 날마다 거둘 것이라 이같이
하여 그들이 나의 율법을 준행하나 아니하나 내가 시험하리라
16:4 Then the Lord said to Moses, See, I will send down bread from heaven for you; and
the people will go out every day and get enough for the day's needs; so that I may
put them to the test to see if they will keep my laws or not.
16:4 Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven
for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that
I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.
16:5 제 육 일에는 그들이 그 거둔 것을 예비할지니 날마다 거두던 것의 갑절이
되리라
16:5 And on the sixth day they are to make ready what they get in, and it will be twice
as much as they get on the other days.
16:5 And it shall come to pass, that on the sixth day they shall prepare
that which they bring in; and it shall be twice as much as they gather daily.
16:6 모세와 아론이 온 이스라엘 자손에게 이르되 저녁이 되면 너희가 여호와께서
너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 내셨음을 알 것이요
16:6 And Moses and Aaron said to all the children of Israel, This evening it will be
clear to you that it is the Lord who has taken you out of the land of Egypt:
16:6 And Moses and Aaron said unto all the children of Israel, At even, then
all of you shall know that the LORD has brought you out from the land of Egypt:
16:7 아침에는 너희가 여호와의 영광을 보리니 이는 여호와께서 너희가 자기를
향하여 원망함을 들으셨음이라 우리가 누구관대 너희가 우리를 대하여 원망하느냐
16:7 And in the morning you will see the glory of the Lord; for your angry words against
the Lord have come to his ears: and what are we that you are crying out against
us?
16:7 And in the morning, then all of you shall see the glory of the LORD;
for that he hears your murmurings against the LORD: and what are we, that all
of you murmur against us?
16:8 모세가 또 가로되 여호와께서 저녁에는 너희에게 고기를 주어 먹이시고 아침에는
떡으로 배불리시리니 이는 여호와께서 자기를 향하여 너희의 원망하는 그 말을 들으셨음이니라
우리가 누구냐 너희의 원망은 우리를 향하여 함이 아니요 여호와를 향하여 함이로다
16:8 And Moses said, The Lord will give you meat for your food at evening, and in the
morning bread in full measure; for your outcry against the Lord has come to his
ears: for what are we? your outcry is not against us but against the Lord.
16:8 And Moses said, This shall be, when the LORD shall give you in the evening
flesh to eat, and in the morning bread to the full; for that the LORD hears
your murmurings which all of you murmur against him: and what are we? your murmurings
are not against us, but against the LORD.
16:9 모세가 또 아론에게 이르되 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 명하기를 여호와께
가까이 나아오라 여호와께서 너희의 원망함을 들으셨느니라 하라
16:9 And Moses said to Aaron, Say to all the people of Israel, Come near before the Lord
for he has given ear to your outcry.
16:9 And Moses spoke unto Aaron, Say unto all the congregation of the children
of Israel, Come near before the LORD: for he has heard your murmurings.
16:10 아론이 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중에게 말하매 그들이 광야를 바라보니 여호와의
영광이 구름 속에 나타나더라
16:10 And while Aaron was talking to the children of Israel, their eyes were turned in
the direction of the waste land, and they saw the glory of the Lord shining in the
cloud.
16:10 And it came to pass, as Aaron spoke unto the whole congregation of
the children of Israel, that they looked toward the wilderness, and, behold,
the glory of the LORD appeared in the cloud.
16:11 여호와께서 모세에게 일러 가라사대
16:11 And the Lord said to Moses,
16:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
16:12 내가 이스라엘 자손의 원망함을 들었노라 그들에게 고하여 이르기를 너희가
해 질 때에는 고기를 먹고 아침에는 떡으로 배부르리니 나는 여호와 너희의 하나님인
줄 알리라 하라 하시니라
16:12 The outcry of the children of Israel has come to my ears: say to them now, At nightfall
you will have meat for your food, and in the morning bread in full measure; and
you will see that I am the Lord your God.
16:12 I have heard the murmurings of the children of Israel: speak unto them,
saying, At even all of you shall eat flesh, and in the morning all of you shall
be filled with bread; and all of you shall know that I am the LORD your God.
16:13 ○ 저녁에는 메추라기가 와서 진에 덮이고 아침에는 이슬이 진 사면에 있더니
16:13 And it came about that in the evening little birds came up and the place was covered
with them: and in the morning there was dew all round about the tents.
16:13 And it came to pass, that at even the quails came up, and covered the
camp: and in the morning the dew lay round about the host.
16:14 그 이슬이 마른 후에 광야 지면에 작고 둥글며 서리 같이 세미한 것이 있는지라
16:14 And when the dew was gone, on the face of the earth was a small round thing, like
small drops of ice on the earth.
16:14 And when the dew that lay was gone up, behold, upon the face of the
wilderness there lay a small round thing, as small as the hoar frost on the
ground.
16:15 이스라엘 자손이 보고 그것이 무엇인지 알지 못하여 서로 이르되 이것이
무엇이냐 하니 모세가 그들에게 이르되 이는 여호와께서 너희에게 주어 먹게 하신
양식이라
16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said to one another, What is it? for
they had no idea what it was. And Moses said to them, It is the bread which the
Lord has given you for your food.
16:15 And when the children of Israel saw it, they said one to another, It
is manna: for they know not what it was. And Moses said unto them, This is the
bread which the LORD has given you to eat.
16:16 여호와께서 이같이 명하시기를 너희 각 사람의 식량대로 이것을 거둘지니
곧 너희 인수대로 매명에 한 오멜씩 취하되 각 사람이 그 장막에 있는 자들을 위하여
취할지니라 하셨느니라
16:16 This is what the Lord has said, Let every man take up as much as he has need of;
at the rate of one omer for every person, let every man take as much as is needed
for his family.
16:16 This is the thing which the LORD has commanded, Gather of it every
man according to his eating, an omer for every man, according to the number
of your persons; take all of you every man for them which are in his tents.
16:17 이스라엘 자손이 그같이 하였더니 그 거둔 것이 많기도 하고 적기도 하나
16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and some took more and some less.
16:17 And the children of Israel did so, and gathered, some more, some less.
16:18 오멜로 되어 본즉 많이 거둔 자도 남음이 없고 적게 거둔 자도 부족함이
없이 각기 식량대로 거두었더라
16:18 And when it was measured, he who had taken up much had nothing over, and he who
had little had enough; every man had taken what he was able to make use of.
16:18 And when they did mete it with an omer, he that gathered much had nothing
over, and he that gathered little had no lack; they gathered every man according
to his eating.
16:19 모세가 그들에게 이르기를 아무든지 아침까지 그것을 남겨두지 말라 하였으나
16:19 And Moses said to them, Let nothing be kept till the morning.
16:19 And Moses said, Let no man leave of it till the morning.
16:20 그들이 모세의 말을 청종치 아니하고 더러는 아침까지 두었더니 벌레가
생기고 냄새가 난지라 모세가 그들에게 노하니라
16:20 But they gave no attention to Moses, and some of them kept it till the morning and
there were worms in it and it had an evil smell: and Moses was angry with them.
16:20 Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto Moses; but some of them left
of it until the morning, and it bred worms, and stank: and Moses was angry with
them.
16:21 ○ 무리가 아침마다 각기 식량대로 거두었고 해가 뜨겁게 쪼이면 그것이
스러졌더라
16:21 And they took it up morning by morning, every man as he had need: and when the sun
was high it was gone.
16:21 And they gathered it every morning, every man according to his eating:
and when the sun waxed hot, it melted.
16:22 제 육 일에는 각 사람이 갑절의 식물 곧 하나에 두 오멜씩 거둔지라 회중의
모든 두목이 와서 모세에게 고하매
16:22 And on the sixth day they took up twice as much of the bread, two omers for every
person: and all the rulers of the people gave Moses word of it.
16:22 And it came to pass, that on the sixth day they gathered twice as much
bread, two omers for one man: and all the rulers of the congregation came and
told Moses.
16:23 모세가 그들에게 이르되 여호와께서 이같이 말씀하셨느니라 내일은 휴식이니
여호와께 거룩한 안식일이라 너희가 구울 것은 굽고 삶을 것은 삶고 그 나머지는
다 너희를 위하여 아침까지 간수하라
16:23 And he said, This is what the Lord has said, Tomorrow is a day of rest, a holy Sabbath
to the Lord: what has to be cooked may be cooked; and what is over, put on one side
to be kept till the morning.
16:23 And he said unto them, This is that which the LORD has said, Tomorrow
is the rest of the holy sabbath unto the LORD: bake that which all of you will
bake to day, and seethe that all of you will seethe; and that which remains
over lay up for you to be kept until the morning.
16:24 그들이 모세의 명대로 아침까지 간수하였으나 냄새도 나지 아니하고 벌레도
생기지 아니한지라
16:24 And they kept it till the morning as Moses had said: and no smell came from it,
and it had no worms.
16:24 And they laid it up till the morning, as Moses bade: and it did not
stink, neither was there any worm therein.
16:25 모세가 가로되 오늘은 그것을 먹으라 오늘은 여호와께 안식일인즉 오늘은
너희가 그것을 들에서 얻지 못하리라
16:25 And Moses said, Make your meal today of what you have, for this day is a Sabbath
to the Lord: today you will not get any in the fields.
16:25 And Moses said, Eat that to day; in order to day is a sabbath unto
the LORD: to day all of you shall not find it in the field.
16:26 육 일 동안은 너희가 그것을 거두되 제 칠 일은 안식일인즉 그 날에는 없으리라
하였으나
16:26 For six days you will get it, but on the seventh day, the Sabbath, there will not
be any.
16:26 Six days all of you shall gather it; but on the seventh day, which
is the sabbath, in it there shall be none.
16:27 제 칠 일에 백성 중 더러가 거두러 나갔다가 얻지 못하니라
16:27 But still on the seventh day some of the people went out to get it, and there was
not any.
16:27 And it came to pass, that there went out some of the people on the
seventh day in order to gather, and they found none.
16:28 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 어느 때까지 너희가 내 계명과 내 율법을
지키지 아니하려느냐
16:28 And the Lord said to Moses, How long will you go against my orders and my laws?
16:28 And the LORD said unto Moses, How long refuse all of you to keep my
commandments and my laws?
16:29 볼지어다 여호와가 너희에게 안식일을 줌으로 제 육 일에는 이틀 양식을
너희에게 주는 것이니 너희는 각기 처소에 있고 제 칠 일에는 아무도 그 처소에서
나오지 말지니라
16:29 See, because the Lord has given you the Sabbath, he gives you on the sixth day bread
enough for two days; let every man keep where he is; let no man go out of his place
on the seventh day.
16:29 See, for that the LORD has given you the sabbath, therefore he gives
you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide all of you every man in his
place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.
16:30 그러므로 백성이 제 칠 일에 안식하니라
16:30 So the people took their rest on the seventh day.
16:30 So the people rested on the seventh day.
16:31 ○ 이스라엘 족속이 그 이름을 만나라 하였으며 깟씨 같고도 희고 맛은
꿀 섞은 과자 같았더라
16:31 And this bread was named manna by Israel: it was white, like a grain seed, and its
taste was like cakes made with honey.
16:31 And the house of Israel called the name thereof Manna: and it was like
coriander seed, white; and the taste of it was like wafers made with honey.
16:32 모세가 가로되 여호와께서 이같이 명하시기를 이것을 오멜에 채워서 너의
대대 후손을 위하여 간수하라 이는 내가 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여 낼 때에 광야에서
너희에게 먹인 양식을 그들에게 보이기 위함이니라 하셨다 하고
16:32 And Moses said, This is the order which the Lord has given: Let one omer of it be
kept for future generations, so that they may see the bread which I gave you for
your food in the waste land, when I took you out from the land of Egypt.
16:32 And Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commands, Fill an
omer of it to be kept for your generations; that they may see the bread wherewith
I have fed you in the wilderness, when I brought you forth from the land of
Egypt.
16:33 또 아론에게 이르되 항아리를 가져다가 그 속에 만나 한 오멜을 담아 여호와
앞에 두어 너희 대대로 간수하라
16:33 And Moses said to Aaron, Take a pot and put one omer of manna in it, and put it
away before the Lord, to be kept for future generations.
16:33 And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a pot, and put an omer full of manna
therein, and lay it up before the LORD, to be kept for your generations.
16:34 아론이 여호와께서 모세에게 명하신 대로 그것을 증거판 앞에 두어 간수하게
하였고
16:34 So Aaron put it away in front of the holy chest to be kept, as the Lord gave orders
to Moses.
16:34 As the LORD commanded Moses, so Aaron laid it up before the Testimony,
to be kept.
16:35 이스라엘 자손이 사람 사는 땅에 이르기까지 사십 년 동안 만나를 먹되 곧
가나안 지경에 이르기까지 그들이 만나를 먹었더라
16:35 And the children of Israel had manna for their food for forty years, till they came
to a land with people in it, till they came to the edge of the land of Canaan.
16:35 And the children of Israel did eat manna forty years, until they came
to a land inhabited; they did eat manna, until they came unto the borders of
the land of Canaan.

17:1 이스라엘 자손의 온 회중이 여호와의 명령대로 신 광야에서 떠나 그 노정대로
행하여 르비딤에 장막을 쳤으나 백성이 마실 물이 없는지라
17:1 And the children of Israel went on from the waste land of Sin, by stages as the
Lord gave them orders, and put up their tents in Rephidim: and there was no drinking-water
for the people.
17:1 And all the congregation of the children of Israel journeyed from the
wilderness of Sin, after their journeys, according to the commandment of the
LORD, and pitched in Rephidim: and there was no water for the people to drink.
17:2 백성이 모세와 다투어 가로되 우리에게 물을 주어 마시게 하라 모세가 그들에게
이르되 너희가 어찌하여 나와 다투느냐 너희가 어찌하여 여호와를 시험하느냐
17:2 So the people were angry with Moses, and said, Give us water for drinking. And Moses
said, Why are you angry with me? and why do you put God to the test?
17:2 Wherefore the people did chide with Moses, and said, Give us water that
we may drink. And Moses said unto them, Why chide all of you with me? wherefore
do all of you tempt the LORD?
17:3 거기서 백성이 물에 갈하매 그들이 모세를 대하여 원망하여 가로되 당신이
어찌하여 우리를 애굽에서 인도하여 내어서 우리와 우리 자녀와 우리 생축으로 목말라
죽게 하느냐
17:3 And the people were in great need of water; and they made an outcry against Moses,
and said, Why have you taken us out of Egypt to send death on us and our children
and our cattle through need of water?
17:3 And the people thirsted there for water; and the people murmured against
Moses, and said, Wherefore is this that you have brought us up out of Egypt,
to kill us and our children and our cattle with thirst?
17:4 모세가 여호와께 부르짖어 가로되 내가 이 백성에게 어떻게 하리이까 그들이
얼마 아니면 내게 돌질 하겠나이다
17:4 And Moses, crying out to the Lord, said, What am I to do to this people? they are
almost ready to put me to death by stoning.
17:4 And Moses cried unto the LORD, saying, What shall I do unto this people?
they be almost ready to stone me.
17:5 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 백성 앞을 지나가서 이스라엘 장로들을 데리고
하수를 치던 네 지팡이를 손에 잡고 가라
17:5 And the Lord said to Moses, Go on before the people, and take some of the chiefs
of Israel with you, and take in your hand the rod which was stretched out over the
Nile, and go.
17:5 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go on before the people, and take with
you of the elders of Israel; and your rod, wherewith you smote the river, take
in yours hand, and go.
17:6 내가 거기서 호렙 산 반석 위에 너를 대하여 서리니 너는 반석을 치라 그것에서
물이 나리니 백성이 마시리라 모세가 이스라엘 장로들의 목전에서 그대로 행하니라
17:6 See, I will take my place before you on the rock in Horeb; and when you give the
rock a blow, water will come out of it, and the people will have drink. And Moses
did so before the eyes of the chiefs of Israel.
17:6 Behold, I will stand before you there upon the rock in Horeb; and you
shall strike the rock, and there shall come water out of it, that the people
may drink. And Moses did so in the sight of the elders of Israel.
17:7 그가 그 곳 이름을 맛사라 또는 므리바라 불렀으니 이는 이스라엘 자손이 다투었음이요
또는 그들이 여호와를 시험하여 이르기를 여호와께서 우리 중에 계신가 아닌가 하였음이더라
17:7 And he gave that place the name Massah and Meribah, because the children of Israel
were angry, and because they put the Lord to the test, saying, Is the Lord with
us or not?
17:7 And he called the name of the place Massah, and Meribah, because of
the chiding of the children of Israel, and because they tempted the LORD, saying,
Is the LORD among us, or not?
17:8 ○ 때에 아말렉이 이르러 이스라엘과 르비딤에서 싸우니라
17:8 Then Amalek came and made war on Israel in Rephidim.
17:8 Then came Amalek, and fought with Israel in Rephidim.
17:9 모세가 여호수아에게 이르되 우리를 위하여 사람들을 택하여 나가서 아말렉과
싸우라 내일 내가 하나님의 지팡이를 손에 잡고 산 꼭대기에 서리라
17:9 And Moses said to Joshua, Get together a band of men for us and go out, make war
on Amalek: tomorrow I will take my place on the top of the hill with the rod of
God in my hand.
17:9 And Moses said unto Joshua, Choose us out men, and go out, fight with
Amalek: tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in
mine hand.
17:10 여호수아가 모세의 말대로 행하여 아말렉과 싸우고 모세와 아론과 훌은
산 꼭대기에 올라가서
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses said to him, and went to war with Amalek: and Moses, Aaron,
and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:10 So Joshua did as Moses had said to him, and fought with Amalek: and
Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill.
17:11 모세가 손을 들면 이스라엘이 이기고 손을 내리면 아말렉이 이기더니
17:11 Now while Moses' hand was lifted up, Israel was the stronger: but when he let his
hand go down, Amalek became the stronger.
17:11 And it came to pass, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed:
and when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed.
17:12 모세의 팔이 피곤하매 그들이 돌을 가져다가 모세의 아래에 놓아 그로 그
위에 앉게 하고 아론과 훌이 하나는 이편에서 하나는 저편에서 모세의 손을 붙들어
올렸더니 그 손이 해가 지도록 내려오지 아니한지라
17:12 But Moses' hands became tired; so they put a stone under him and he took his seat
on it, Aaron and Hur supporting his hands, one on one side and one on the other;
so his hands were kept up without falling till the sun went down.
17:12 But Moses hands were heavy; and they took a stone, and put it under
him, and he sat thereon; and Aaron and Hur stayed up his hands, the one on the
one side, and the other on the other side; and his hands were steady until the
going down of the sun.
17:13 여호수아가 칼날로 아말렉과 그 백성을 쳐서 파하니라
17:13 And Joshua overcame Amalek and his people with the sword.
17:13 And Joshua humiliated Amalek and his people with the edge of the sword.
17:14 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 이것을 책에 기록하여 기념하게 하고 여호수아의
귀에 외워 들리라 내가 아말렉을 도말하여 천하에서 기억함이 없게 하리라
17:14 And the Lord said to Moses, Make a record of this in a book, so that it may be kept
in memory, and say it again in the ears of Joshua: that all memory of Amalek is
to be completely uprooted from the earth.
17:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write this for a memorial in a book,
and rehearse it in the ears of Joshua: for I will utterly put out the remembrance
of Amalek from under heaven.
17:15 모세가 단을 쌓고 그 이름을 여호와 닛시라 하고
17:15 Then Moses put up an altar and gave it the name of Yahweh-nissi:
17:15 And Moses built an altar, and called the name of it Jehovahnissi:
17:16 가로되 여호와께서 맹세하시기를 여호와가 아말렉으로 더불어 대대로 싸우리라
하셨다 하였더라
17:16 For he said, The Lord has taken his oath that there will be war with Amalek from
generation to generation.
17:16 For he said, Because the LORD has sworn that the LORD will have war
with Amalek from generation to generation.
18:1 모세의 장인 미디안 제사장 이드로가 하나님이 모세에게와 자기 백성 이스라엘에게
하신 일 곧 여호와께서 이스라엘을 애굽에서 인도하여 내신 모든 일을 들으니라
18:1 Now news came to Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father-in-law, of all God
had done for Moses and for Israel his people, and how the Lord had taken Israel
out of Egypt.
18:1 When Jethro, the priest of Midian, Moses' father in law, heard of all
that God had done for Moses, and for Israel his people, and that the LORD had
brought Israel out of Egypt;
18:2 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세가 돌려 보내었던 그의 아내 십보라와
18:2 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after he had sent
her away,
18:2 Then Jethro, Moses' father in law, took Zipporah, Moses' wife, after
he had sent her back,
18:3 그 두 아들을 데렸으니 그 하나의 이름은 게르솜이라 이는 모세가 이르기를
내가 이방에서 객이 되었다 함이요
18:3 And her two sons, one of whom was named Gershom, for he said, I have been living
in a strange land:
18:3 And her two sons; of which the name of the one was Gershom; for he said,
I have been an foreigner in a strange land:
18:4 하나의 이름은 엘리에셀이라 이는 내 아버지의 하나님이 나를 도우사 바로의
칼에서 구원하셨다 함이더라
18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer, for he said, The God of my father was my
help, and kept me safe from the sword of Pharaoh:
18:4 And the name of the other was Eliezer; for the God of my father, said
he, was mine help, and delivered me from the sword of Pharaoh:
18:5 모세의 장인 이드로가 모세의 아들들과 그 아내로 더불어 광야에 들어와
모세에게 이르니 곧 모세가 하나님의 산에 진 친 곳이라
18:5 And Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, came with his sons and his wife to where Moses
had put up his tent in the waste land, by the mountain of God.
18:5 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, came with his sons and his wife unto
Moses into the wilderness, where he encamped at the mount of God:
18:6 그가 모세에게 전언하되 그대의 장인 나 이드로가 그대의 아내와 그와 함께
한
그 두 아들로 더불어 그대에게 왔노라
18:6 And he said to Moses, I, your father-in-law, have come to you, with your wife and
your two sons.
18:6 And he said unto Moses, I your father in law Jethro am come unto you,
and your wife, and her two sons with her.
18:7 모세가 나가서 그 장인을 맞아 절하고 그에게 입맞추고 그들이 서로 문안하고
함께 장막에 들어가서
18:7 And Moses went out to his father-in-law, and went down on his face before him and
gave him a kiss; and they said to one another, Are you well? and they came into
the tent.
18:7 And Moses went out to meet his father in law, and did reverence, and
kissed him; and they asked each other of their welfare; and they came into the
tent.
18:8 모세가 여호와께서 이스라엘을 위하여 바로와 애굽 사람에게 행하신 모든
일과 길에서 그들의 당한 모든 고난과 여호와께서 그들을 구원하신 일을 다 그 장인에게
고하매
18:8 And Moses gave his father-in-law an account of all the Lord had done to Pharaoh
and to the Egyptians because of Israel, and of all the troubles which had come on
them by the way, and how the Lord had given them salvation.
18:8 And Moses told his father in law all that the LORD had done unto Pharaoh
and to the Egyptians for Israel's sake, and all the travail that had come upon
them by the way, and how the LORD delivered them.
18:9 이드로가 여호와께서 이스라엘에게 모든 은혜를 베푸사 애굽 사람의 손에서
구원하심을 기뻐하여
18:9 And Jethro was glad because the Lord had been good to Israel, freeing them from
the power of the Egyptians.
18:9 And Jethro rejoiced for all the goodness which the LORD had done to
Israel, whom he had delivered out of the hand of the Egyptians.
18:10 가로되 여호와를 찬송하리로다 너희를 애굽 사람의 손에서와 바로의 손에서
건져내시고 백성을 애굽 사람의 손 밑에서 건지셨도다
18:10 And Jethro said, Praise be to the Lord, who has taken you out of the hand of Pharaoh
and out of the hand of the Egyptians; freeing the people from the yoke of the Egyptians.
18:10 And Jethro said, Blessed be the LORD, who has delivered you out of
the hand of the Egyptians, and out of the hand of Pharaoh, who has delivered
the people from under the hand of the Egyptians.
18:11 이제 내가 알았도다 여호와는 모든 신보다 크시므로 이스라엘에게 교만히
행하는 그들을 이기셨도다 하고
18:11 Now I am certain that the Lord is greater than all gods, for he has overcome them
in their pride.
18:11 Now I know that the LORD is greater than all gods: for in the thing
wherein they dealt proudly he was above them.
18:12 모세의 장인 이드로가 번제물과 희생을 하나님께 가져오매 아론과 이스라엘
모든 장로가 와서 모세의 장인과 함께 하나님 앞에서 떡을 먹으니라
18:12 Then Jethro, Moses' father-in-law, made a burned offering to God: and Aaron came,
with the chiefs of Israel, and had a meal with Moses' father-in-law, before God.
18:12 And Jethro, Moses' father in law, took a burnt offering and sacrifices
for God: and Aaron came, and all the elders of Israel, to eat bread with Moses'
father in law before God.
18:13 ○ 이튿날에 모세가 백성을 재판하느라고 앉았고 백성은 아침부터 저녁까지
모세의 곁에 섰는지라
18:13 Now on the day after, Moses took his seat to give decisions for the people: and
the people were waiting before Moses from morning till evening.
18:13 And it came to pass on the next day, that Moses sat to judge the people:
and the people stood by Moses from the morning unto the evening.
18:14 모세의 장인이 모세가 백성에게 행하는 모든 일을 보고 가로되 그대가 이
백성에게 행하는 이 일이 어찜이뇨 어찌하여 그대는 홀로 앉았고 백성은 아침부터
저녁까지 그대의 곁에 섰느뇨
18:14 And when Moses' father-in-law saw all he was doing, he said, What is this you are
doing for the people? why are you seated here by yourself, with all the people waiting
before you from morning till evening?
18:14 And when Moses' father in law saw all that he did to the people, he
said, What is this thing that you do to the people? why sit you yourself alone,
and all the people stand by you from morning unto even?
18:15 모세가 그 장인에게 대답하되 백성이 하나님께 물으려고 내게로 옴이라
18:15 And Moses said to his father-in-law, Because the people come to me to get directions
from God:
18:15 And Moses said unto his father in law, Because the people come unto
me to enquire of God:
18:16 그들이 일이 있으면 내게로 오나니 내가 그 양편을 판단하여 하나님의 율례와
법도를 알게 하나이다
18:16 And if they have any question between themselves, they come to me, and I am judge
between a man and his neighbour, and I give them the orders and laws of God.
18:16 When they have a matter, they come unto me; and I judge between one
and another, and I do make them know the statutes of God, and his laws.
18:17 모세의 장인이 그에게 이르되 그대의 하는 것이 선하지 못하도다
18:17 And Moses' father-in-law said to him, What you are doing is not good.
18:17 And Moses' father in law said unto him, The thing that you do is not
good.
18:18 그대와 그대와 함께 한 이 백성이 필연 기력이 쇠하리니 이 일이 그대에게
너무 중함이라 그대가 혼자 할 수 없으리라
18:18 Your strength and that of the people will be completely used up: this work is more
than you are able to do by yourself.
18:18 You will surely wear away, both you, and this people that is with you:
for this thing is too heavy for you; you are not able to perform it yourself
alone.
18:19 이제 내 말을 들으라 내가 그대에게 방침을 가르치리니 하나님이 그대와
함께 계실지로다 그대는 백성을 위하여 하나님 앞에 있어서 소송을 하나님께 베풀며
18:19 Give ear now to my suggestion, and may God be with you: you are to be the people's
representative before God, taking their causes to him:
18:19 Hearken now unto my voice, I will give you counsel, and God shall be
with you: Be you for the people toward God, that you may bring the causes unto
God:
18:20 그들에게 율례와 법도를 가르쳐서 마땅히 갈 길과 할 일을 그들에게 보이고
18:20 Teaching them his rules and his laws, guiding them in the way they have to go, and
making clear to them the work they have to do.
18:20 And you shall teach them ordinances and laws, and shall show them the
way wherein they must walk, and the work that they must do.
18:21 그대는 또 온 백성 가운데서 재덕이 겸전한 자 곧 하나님을 두려워하며
진실무망하며 불의한 이를 미워하는 자를 빼서 백성 위에 세워 천부장과 백부장과
오십부장과 십부장을 삼아
18:21 But for the rest, take from among the people able men, such as have the fear of
God, true men hating profits wrongly made; and put such men over them, to be captains
of thousands, captains of hundreds and of fifties and of tens;
18:21 Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as
fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be
rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of
tens:
18:22 그들로 때를 따라 백성을 재판하게 하라 무릇 큰 일이면 그대에게 베풀
것이고 무릇 작은 일이면 그들이 스스로 재판할 것이니 그리하면 그들이 그대와 함께
담당할 것인즉 일이 그대에게 쉬우리라
18:22 And let them be judges in the causes of the people at all times: and let them put
before you all important questions, but in small things let them give decisions
themselves: in this way, it will be less hard for you, and they will take the weight
off you.
18:22 And let them judge the people at all seasons: and it shall be, that
every great matter they shall bring unto you, but every small matter they shall
judge: so shall it be easier for yourself, and they shall bear the burden with
you.
18:23 그대가 만일 이 일을 하고 하나님께서도 그대에게 인가하시면 그대가 이
일을 감당하고 이 모든 백성도 자기 곳으로 평안히 가리라
18:23 If you do this, and God gives approval, then you will be able to go on without weariness,
and all this people will go to their tents in peace.
18:23 If you shall do this thing, and God command you so, then you shall
be able to endure, and all this people shall also go to their place in peace.
18:24 이에 모세가 자기 장인의 말을 듣고 그 모든 말대로 하여
18:24 So Moses took note of the words of his father-in-law, and did as he had said.
18:24 So Moses hearkened to the voice of his father in law, and did all that
he had said.
18:25 이스라엘 무리 중에서 재덕이 겸전한 자를 빼서 그들로 백성의 두목 곧
천부장과 백부장과 오십부장과 십부장을 삼으매
18:25 And he made selection of able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over the
people, captains of thousands, captains of hundreds and of fifties and of tens.
18:25 And Moses chose able men out of all Israel, and made them heads over
the people, rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and
rulers of tens.
18:26 그들이 때를 따라 백성을 재판하되 어려운 일은 모세에게 베풀고 쉬운 일은
자단하더라
18:26 And they were judges in the causes of the people at all times: the hard questions
they put before Moses; but on every small point they gave decisions themselves.
18:26 And they judged the people at all seasons: the hard causes they brought
unto Moses, but every small matter they judged themselves.
18:27 모세가 그 장인을 보내니 그가 자기 고향으로 돌아가니라
18:27 And Moses let his father-in-law go away, and he went back to his land.
18:27 And Moses let his father in law depart; and he went his way into his
own land.
19:1 이스라엘 자손이 애굽 땅에서 나올 때부터 제 삼 월 곧 그 때에 그들이 시내
광야에 이르니라
19:1 In the third month after the children of Israel went out from Egypt, on the same
day, they came into the waste land of Sinai.
19:1 In the third month, when the children of Israel were gone forth out
of the land of Egypt, the same day came they into the wilderness of Sinai.
19:2 그들이 르비딤을 떠나 시내 광야에 이르러 그 광야에 장막을 치되 산 앞에
장막을 치니라
19:2 And when they had gone away from Rephidim and had come into the waste land of Sinai,
they put up their tents in the waste land before the mountain: there Israel put
up its tents.
19:2 For they were departed from Rephidim, and were come to the desert of
Sinai, and had pitched in the wilderness; and there Israel camped before the
mount.
19:3 모세가 하나님 앞에 올라가니 여호와께서 산에서 그를 불러 가라사대 너는
이같이 야곱 족속에게 이르고 이스라엘 자손에게 고하라
19:3 And Moses went up to God, and the voice of the Lord came to him from the mountain,
saying, Say to the family of Jacob, and give word to the children of Israel:
19:3 And Moses went up unto God, and the LORD called unto him out of the
mountain, saying, Thus shall you say to the house of Jacob, and tell the children
of Israel;
19:4 나의 애굽 사람에게 어떻게 행하였음과 내가 어떻게 독수리 날개로 너희를
업어 내게로 인도하였음을 너희가 보았느니라
19:4 You have seen what I did to the Egyptians, and how I took you, as on eagles' wings,
guiding you to myself.
19:4 All of you have seen what I did unto the Egyptians, and how I bare you
on eagles' wings, and brought you unto myself.
19:5 세계가 다 내게 속하였나니 너희가 내 말을 잘 듣고 내 언약을 지키면 너희는
열국 중에서 내 소유가 되겠고
19:5 If now you will truly give ear to my voice and keep my agreement, you will be my
special property out of all the peoples: for all the earth is mine:
19:5 Now therefore, if all of you will obey my voice indeed, and keep my
covenant, then all of you shall be an exclusive treasure unto me above all people:
for all the earth is mine:
19:6 너희가 내게 대하여 제사장 나라가 되며 거룩한 백성이 되리라 너는 이 말을
이스라엘 자손에게 고할지니라
19:6 And you will be a kingdom of priests to me, and a holy nation. These are the words
which you are to say to the children of Israel.
19:6 And all of you shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation.
These are the words which you shall speak unto the children of Israel.
19:7 ○ 모세가 와서 백성의 장로들을 불러 여호와께서 자기에게 명하신 그 모든
말씀을 그 앞에 진술하니
19:7 And Moses came and sent for the chiefs of the people and put before them all these
words which the Lord had given him orders to say.
19:7 And Moses came and called for the elders of the people, and laid before
their faces all these words which the LORD commanded him.
19:8 백성이 일제히 응답하여 가로되 여호와의 명하신 대로 우리가 다 행하리이다
모세가 백성의 말로 여호와께 회보하매
19:8 And all the people, answering together, said, Whatever the Lord has said we will
do. And Moses took back to the Lord the words of the people.
19:8 And all the people answered together, and said, All that the LORD has
spoken we will do. And Moses returned the words of the people unto the LORD.
19:9 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 내가 빽빽한 구름 가운데서 네게 임함은 내가
너와 말하는 것을 백성으로 듣게 하며 또한 너를 영영히 믿게 하려 함이니라 모세가
백성의 말로 여호와께 고하였으므로
19:9 And the Lord said to Moses, See, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that what
I say to you may come to the ears of the people and they may have belief in you
for ever. And Moses gave the Lord word of what the people had said.
19:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Lo, I come unto you in a thick cloud,
that the people may hear when I speak with you, and believe you for ever. And
Moses told the words of the people unto the LORD.
19:10 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 백성에게로 가서 오늘과 내일 그들을
성결케 하며 그들로 옷을 빨고
19:10 And the Lord said to Moses, Go to the people and make them holy today and tomorrow,
and let their clothing be washed.
19:10 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go unto the people, and sanctify them
to day and tomorrow, and let them wash their clothes,
19:11 예비하여 제 삼 일을 기다리게 하라 이는 제 삼 일에 나 여호와가 온 백성의
목전에 시내 산에 강림할 것임이니
19:11 And by the third day let them be ready: for on the third day the Lord will come
down on Mount Sinai, before the eyes of all the people.
19:11 And be ready against the third day: for the third day the LORD will
come down in the sight of all the people upon mount Sinai.
19:12 너는 백성을 위하여 사면으로 지경을 정하고 이르기를 너희는 삼가 산에
오르거나 그 지경을 범하지 말지니 산을 범하는 자는 정녕 죽임을 당할 것이라
19:12 And let limits be marked out for the people round the mountain, and say to them,
Take care not to go up the mountain or near the sides of it: whoever puts his foot
on the mountain will certainly come to his death:
19:12 And you shall set bounds unto the people round about, saying, Take
heed to yourselves, that all of you go not up into the mount, or touch the border
of it: whosoever touches the mount shall be surely put to death:
19:13 손을 그에게 댐이 없이 그런 자는 돌에 맞아 죽임을 당하거나 살에 쐬어
죽임을 당하리니 짐승이나 사람을 무론하고 살지 못하리라 나팔을 길게 불거든 산
앞에 이를 것이니라 하라
19:13 He is not to be touched by a hand, but is to be stoned or have an arrow put through
him; man or beast, he is to be put to death: at the long sounding of a horn they
may come up to the mountain.
19:13 There shall not an hand touch it, but he shall surely be stoned, or
shot through; whether it be beast or man, it shall not live: when the trumpet
sounds long, they shall come up to the mount.
19:14 모세가 산에서 내려 백성에게 이르러 백성으로 성결케 하니 그들이 자기
옷을 빨더라
19:14 Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and made the people holy;
and their clothing was washed.
19:14 And Moses went down from the mount unto the people, and sanctified
the people; and they washed their clothes.
19:15 모세가 백성에게 이르되 예비하여 제 삼 일을 기다리고 여인을 가까이 말라
하니라
19:15 And he said to the people, Be ready by the third day: do not come near a woman.
19:15 And he said unto the people, Be ready against the third day: come not
at your wives.
19:16 ○ 제 삼 일 아침에 우뢰와 번개와 빽빽한 구름이 산 위에 있고 나팔 소리가
심히 크니 진중 모든 백성이 다 떨더라
19:16 And when morning came on the third day, there were thunders and flames and a thick
cloud on the mountain, and a horn sounding very loud; and all the people in the
tents were shaking with fear.
19:16 And it came to pass on the third day in the morning, that there were
thunders and lightnings, and a thick cloud upon the mount, and the voice of
the trumpet exceeding loud; so that all the people that was in the camp trembled.
19:17 모세가 하나님을 맞으려고 백성을 거느리고 진에서 나오매 그들이 산 기슭에
섰더니
19:17 And Moses made the people come out of their tents and take their places before God;
and they came to the foot of the mountain,
19:17 And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God;
and they stood at the nether part of the mount.
19:18 시내 산에 연기가 자욱하니 여호와께서 불 가운데서 거기 강림하심이라 그
연기가 옹기점 연기 같이 떠오르고 온 산이 크게 진동하며
19:18 And all the mountain of Sinai was smoking, for the Lord had come down on it in fire:
and the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a great burning; and all the mountain
was shaking.
19:18 And mount Sinai was altogether smoking, because the LORD descended
upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and
the whole mount quaked greatly.
19:19 나팔 소리가 점점 커질 때에 모세가 말한즉 하나님이 음성으로 대답하시더라
19:19 And when the sound of the horn became louder and louder, Moses' words were answered
by the voice of God.
19:19 And when the voice of the trumpet sounded long, and waxed louder and
louder, Moses spoke, and God answered him by a voice.
19:20 여호와께서 시내 산 곧 그 산 꼭대기에 강림하시고 그리로 모세를 부르시니
모세가 올라가매
19:20 Then the Lord came down on to Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, and the Lord
sent for Moses to come up to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.
19:20 And the LORD came down upon mount Sinai, on the top of the mount: and
the LORD called Moses up to the top of the mount; and Moses went up.
19:21 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 내려가서 백성을 신칙하라 백성이 돌파하고
나 여호와께로 와서 보려고 하다가 많이 죽을까 하노라
19:21 And the Lord said to Moses, Go down and give the people orders to keep back, for
fear that a great number of them, forcing their way through to see the Lord, may
come to destruction.
19:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go down, charge the people, lest they
break through unto the LORD to gaze, and many of them perish.
19:22 또 여호와께 가까이 하는 제사장들로 그 몸을 성결히 하게 하라 나 여호와가
그들을 돌격할까 하노라
19:22 And let the priests who come near to the Lord make themselves holy, for fear that
the Lord may come on them suddenly.
19:22 And let the priests also, which come near to the LORD, sanctify themselves,
lest the LORD break forth upon them.
19:23 모세가 여호와께 고하되 주께서 우리에게 명하여 이르시기를 산 사면에
지경을 세워 산을 거룩하게 하라 하셨사온즉 백성이 시내 산에 오르지 못하리이다
19:23 And Moses said to the Lord, The people will not be able to come up the mountain,
for you gave us orders to put limits round the mountain, marking it out and making
it holy.
19:23 And Moses said unto the LORD, The people cannot come up to mount Sinai:
for you charged us, saying, Set bounds about the mount, and sanctify it.
19:24 여호와께서 그에게 이르시되 가라 너는 내려가서 아론과 함께 올라오고
제사장들과 백성에게는 돌파하고 나 여호와에게로 올라오지 못하게 하라 내가 그들을
돌격할까 하노라
19:24 And the Lord said to him, Go down, and you and Aaron may come up; but let not the
priests and the people make their way through to the Lord, or he will come on them
suddenly.
19:24 And the LORD said unto him, Away, get you down, and you shall come
up, you, and Aaron with you: but let not the priests and the people break through
to come up unto the LORD, lest he break forth upon them.
19:25 모세가 백성에게 내려가서 그들에게 고하니라
19:25 So Moses went down to the people and said this to them.
19:25 So Moses went down unto the people, and spoke unto them.
20:1 하나님이 이 모든 말씀으로 일러 가라사대
20:1 And God said all these words:
20:1 And God spoke all these words, saying,
20:2 나는 너를 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 인도하여 낸 너의 하나님 여호와로라
20:2 I am the Lord your God who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.
20:2 I am the LORD your God, which have brought you out of the land of Egypt,
out of the house of bondage.
20:3 너는 나 외에는 다른 신들을 네게 있게 말지니라
20:3 You are to have no other gods but me.
20:3 You shall have no other gods before me.
20:4 ○ 너를 위하여 새긴 우상을 만들지 말고 또 위로 하늘에 있는 것이나 아래로
땅에 있는 것이나 땅 아래 물 속에 있는 것의 아무 형상이든지 만들지 말며
20:4 You are not to make an image or picture of anything in heaven or on the earth or
in the waters under the earth:
20:4 You shall not make unto you any graven image, or any likeness of any
thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in
the water under the earth.
20:5 그것들에게 절하지 말며 그것들을 섬기지 말라 나 여호와 너의 하나님은
질투하는 하나님인즉 나를 미워하는 자의 죄를 갚되 아비로부터 아들에게로 삼, 사
대까지
이르게 하거니와
20:5 You may not go down on your faces before them or give them worship: for I, the Lord
your God, am a God who will not give his honour to another; and I will send punishment
on the children for the wrongdoing of their fathers, to the third and fourth generation
of my haters;
20:5 You shall not bow down yourself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD
your God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children
unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;
20:6 나를 사랑하고 내 계명을 지키는 자에게는 천 대까지 은혜를 베푸느니라
20:6 And I will have mercy through a thousand generations on those who have love for
me and keep my laws.
20:6 And showing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.
20:7 ○ 너는 너의 하나님 여호와의 이름을 망령되이 일컫지 말라 나 여호와는
나의 이름을 망령되이 일컫는 자를 죄 없다 하지 아니하리라
20:7 You are not to make use of the name of the Lord your God for an evil purpose; whoever
takes the Lord's name on his lips for an evil purpose will be judged a sinner by
the Lord
20:7 You shall not take the name of the LORD your God in vain; for the LORD
will not hold him guiltless that takes his name in vain.
20:8 ○ 안식일을 기억하여 거룩히 지키라
20:8 Keep in memory the Sabbath and let it be a holy day.
20:8 Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.
20:9 엿새 동안은 힘써 네 모든 일을 행할 것이나
20:9 On six days do all your work:
20:9 Six days shall you labour, and do all your work:
20:10 제 칠 일은 너의 하나님 여호와의 안식일인즉 너나 네 아들이나 네 딸이나
네 남종이나 네 여종이나 네 육축이나 네 문안에 유하는 객이라도 아무 일도 하지
말라
20:10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; on that day you are to do
no work, you or your son or your daughter, your man-servant or your woman-servant,
your cattle or the man from a strange country who is living among you:
20:10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD your God: in it you
shall not do any work, you, nor your son, nor your daughter, your manservant,
nor your maidservant, nor your cattle, nor your stranger that is within your
gates:
20:11 이는 엿새 동안에 나 여호와가 하늘과 땅과 바다와 그 가운데 모든 것을
만들고 제 칠 일에 쉬었음이라 그러므로 나 여호와가 안식일을 복되게 하여 그 날을
거룩하게 하였느니라
20:11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, and the sea, and everything in them,
and he took his rest on the seventh day: for this reason the Lord has given his
blessing to the seventh day and made it holy.
20:11 For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that
in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath
day, and hallowed it.
20:12 ○ 네 부모를 공경하라 그리하면 너의 하나님 나 여호와가 네게 준 땅에서
네 생명이 길리라
20:12 Give honour to your father and to your mother, so that your life may be long in
the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
20:12 Honour your father and your mother: that your days may be long upon
the land which the LORD your God gives you.
20:13 ○ 살인하지 말지니라
20:13 Do not put anyone to death without cause.
20:13 You shall not kill.
20:14 ○ 간음하지 말지니라
20:14 Do not be false to the married relation.
20:14 You shall not commit adultery.
20:15 ○ 도적질하지 말지니라
20:15 Do not take the property of another.
20:15 You shall not steal.
20:16 ○ 네 이웃에 대하여 거짓 증거하지 말지니라
20:16 Do not give false witness against your neighbour.
20:16 You shall not bear false witness against your neighbour.
20:17 ○ 네 이웃의 집을 탐내지 말지니라 네 이웃의 아내나 그의 남종이나 그의
여종이나 그의 소나 그의 나귀나 무릇 네 이웃의 소유를 탐내지 말지니라
20:17 Let not your desire be turned to your neighbour's house, or his wife or his man-servant
or his woman-servant or his ox or his ass or anything which is his.
20:17 You shall not covet your neighbour's house, you shall not covet your
neighbour's wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his
ass, nor any thing that is your neighbour's.
20:18 ○ 뭇 백성이 우뢰와 번개와 나팔 소리와 산의 연기를 본지라 그들이 볼
때에 떨며 멀리 서서
20:18 And all the people were watching the thunderings and the flames and the sound of
the horn and the mountain smoking; and when they saw it, they kept far off, shaking
with fear.
20:18 And all the people saw the thunderings, and the lightnings, and the
noise of the trumpet, and the mountain smoking: and when the people saw it,
they removed, and stood far off.
20:19 모세에게 이르되 당신이 우리에게 말씀하소서 우리가 들으리이다 하나님이
우리에게 말씀하시지 말게 하소서 우리가 죽을까 하나이다
20:19 And they said to Moses, To your words we will give ear, but let not the voice of
God come to our ears, for fear death may come on us.
20:19 And they said unto Moses, Speak you with us, and we will hear: but
let not God speak with us, lest we die.
20:20 모세가 백성에게 이르되 두려워 말라 하나님이 강림하심은 너희를 시험하고
너희로 경외하여 범죄치 않게 하려 하심이니라
20:20 And Moses said to the people, Have no fear: for God has come to put you to the test,
so that fearing him you may be kept from sin.
20:20 And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God has come to prove
you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that all of you sin not.
20:21 백성은 멀리 섰고 모세는 하나님의 계신 암흑으로 가까이 가니라
20:21 And the people kept their places far off, but Moses went near to the dark cloud
where God was.
20:21 And the people stood far off, and Moses drew near unto the thick darkness
where God was.
20:22 ○ 여호와께서 모세에게 이르시되 너는 이스라엘 자손에게 이같이 이르라
내가 하늘에서부터 너희에게 말하는 것을 너희가 친히 보았으니
20:22 And the Lord said to Moses, Say to the children of Israel, You yourselves have seen
that my voice has come to you from heaven
20:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Thus you shall say unto the children
of Israel, All of you have seen that I have talked with you from heaven.
20:23 너희는 나를 비겨서 은으로 신상이나 금으로 신상을 너희를 위하여 만들지 말고
20:23 Gods of silver and gods of gold you are not to make for yourselves.
20:23 All of you shall not make with me gods of silver, neither shall all
of you make unto you gods of gold.
20:24 내게 토단을 쌓고 그 위에 너의 양과 소로 너의 번제와 화목제를 드리라
내가 무릇 내 이름을 기념하게 하는 곳에서 네게 강림하여 복을 주리라
20:24 Make for me an altar of earth, offering on it your burned offerings and your peace-offerings,
your sheep and your oxen: in every place where I have put the memory of my name,
I will come to you and give you my blessing.
20:24 An altar of earth you shall make unto me, and shall sacrifice thereon
your burnt offerings, and your peace offerings, your sheep, and yours oxen:
in all places where I record my name I will come unto you, and I will bless
you.
20:25 네가 내게 돌로 단을 쌓거든 다듬은 돌로 쌓지 말라 네가 정으로 그것을
쪼면 부정하게 함이니라
20:25 And if you make me an altar of stone do not make it of cut stones: for the touch
of an instrument will make it unclean.
20:25 And if you will make me an altar of stone, you shall not build it of
hewn stone: for if you lift up your tool upon it, you have polluted it.
20:26 너는 층계로 내 단에 오르지 말라 네 하체가 그 위에서 드러날까 함이니라
20:26 And do not go up by steps to my altar, for fear that your bodies may be seen uncovered.
20:26 Neither shall you go up by steps unto mine altar, that your nakedness
be not discovered thereon.
