1:1 유다 왕 여호야김이 위에 있은 지 삼 년에 바벨론 왕 느부갓네살이 예루살렘에
이르러 그것을 에워쌌더니
1:1 In the third year of the rule of Jehoiakim, king of Judah, Nebuchadnezzar, king
of Babylon, came to Jerusalem, shutting it in with his forces.
1:1 In the third year of the reign of Jehoiakim king of Judah came Nebuchadnezzar
king of Babylon unto Jerusalem, and besieged it.
1:2 주께서 유다 왕 여호야김과 하나님의 전 기구 얼마를 그의 손에 붙이시매
그가 그것을 가지고 시날 땅 자기 신의 묘에 이르러 그 신의 보고에 두었더라
1:2 And the Lord gave into his hands Jehoiakim, king of Judah, with some of the vessels
of the house of God; and he took them away into the land of Shinar to the house
of his god; and he put the vessels into the store-house of his god.
1:2 And the Lord gave Jehoiakim king of Judah into his hand, with part of
the vessels of the house of God: which he carried into the land of Shinar to
the house of his god; and he brought the vessels into the treasure house of
his god.
1:3 왕이 환관장 아스부나스에게 명하여 이스라엘 자손 중에서 왕족과 귀족의
몇 사람
1:3 And the king gave orders to Ashpenaz, the captain of his unsexed servants, to take
in some of the children of Israel, certain of the king's family, and those of high
birth;
1:3 And the king spoke unto Ashpenaz the master of his eunuchs, that he should
bring certain of the children of Israel, and of the king's seed, and of the
princes;
1:4 곧 흠이 없고 아름다우며 모든 재주를 통달하며 지식이 구비하며 학문에 익숙하여
왕궁에 모실 만한 소년을 데려오게 하였고 그들에게 갈대아 사람의 학문과 방언을
가르치게 하였고
1:4 Young men who were strong and healthy, good-looking, and trained in all wisdom,
having a good education and much knowledge, and able to take positions in the king's
house; and to have them trained in the writing and language of the Chaldaeans.
1:4 Children in whom was no blemish, but well favoured, and skilful in all
wisdom, and cunning in knowledge, and understanding science, and such as had
ability in them to stand in the king's palace, and whom they might teach the
learning and the tongue of the Chaldeans.
1:5 또 왕이 지정하여 자기의 진미와 자기의 마시는 포도주에서 그들의 날마다
쓸 것을 주어 삼 년을 기르게 하였으니 이는 그 후에 그들로 왕의 앞에 모셔 서게
하려 함이었더라
1:5 And a regular amount of food and wine every day from the king's table was ordered
for them by the king; and they were to be cared for for three years so that at the
end of that time they might take their places before the king.
1:5 And the king appointed them a daily provision of the king's food, and
of the wine which he drank: so nourishing them three years, that at the end
thereof they might stand before the king.
1:6 그들 중에 유다 자손 곧 다니엘과 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴가 있었더니
1:6 And among these there were, of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael,
and Azariah.
1:6 Now among these were of the children of Judah, Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael,
and Azariah:
1:7 환관장이 그들의 이름을 고쳐 다니엘은 벨드사살이라 하고 하나냐는 사드락이라
하고 미사엘은 메삭이라 하고 아사랴는 아벳느고라 하였더라
1:7 And the captain of the unsexed servants gave them names; to Daniel he gave the name
of Belteshazzar, to Hananiah the name of Shadrach, to Mishael the name of Meshach,
and to Azariah the name of Abed-nego.
1:7 Unto whom the prince of the eunuchs gave names: for he gave unto Daniel
the name of Belteshazzar; and to Hananiah, of Shadrach; and to Mishael, of Meshach;
and to Azariah, of Abednego.
1:8 ○ 다니엘은 뜻을 정하여 왕의 진미와 그의 마시는 포도주로 자기를 더럽히지
아니하리라 하고 자기를 더럽히지 않게 하기를 환관장에게 구하니
1:8 And Daniel had come to the decision that he would not make himself unclean with
the king's food or wine; so he made a request to the captain of the unsexed servants
that he might not make himself unclean.
1:8 But Daniel purposed in his heart that he would not defile himself with
the portion of the king's food, nor with the wine which he drank: therefore
he requested of the prince of the eunuchs that he might not defile himself.
1:9 하나님이 다니엘로 환관장에게 은혜와 긍휼을 얻게 하신지라
1:9 And God put into the heart of the captain of the unsexed servants kind feelings
and pity for Daniel.
1:9 Now God had brought Daniel into favour and tender love with the prince
of the eunuchs.
1:10 환관장이 다니엘에게 이르되 내가 내 주 왕을 두려워하노라 그가 너희 먹을
것과 너희 마실 것을 지정하셨거늘 너희의 얼굴이 초췌하여 동무 소년들만 못한 것을
그로 보시게 할 것이 무엇이냐 그렇게 되면 너희 까닭에 내 머리가 왕 앞에서 위태하게
되리라 하니라
1:10 And the captain of the unsexed servants said to Daniel, I am in fear of my lord
the king, who has given orders about your food and your drink; what if he sees you
looking less happy than the other young men of your generation? then you would have
put my head in danger from the king.
1:10 And the prince of the eunuchs said unto Daniel, I fear my lord the king,
who has appointed your food and your drink: for why should he see your faces
worse looking than the children which are of your sort? then shall all of you
make me endanger my head to the king.
1:11 환관장이 세워 다니엘과 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴를 감독하게 한 자에게
다니엘이 말하되
1:11 Then Daniel said to the keeper in whose care the captain of the unsexed servants
had put Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
1:11 Then said Daniel to Melzar, whom the prince of the eunuchs had set over
Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah,
1:12 청하오니 당신의 종들을 열흘 동안 시험하여 채식을 주어 먹게 하고 물을
주어 마시게 한 후에
1:12 Put your servants to the test for ten days; let them give us grain for our food
and water for our drink.
1:12 Prove your servants, I plead to you, ten days; and let them give us
vegetables to eat, and water to drink.
1:13 당신 앞에서 우리의 얼굴과 왕의 진미를 먹는 소년들의 얼굴을 비교하여
보아서 보이는 대로 종들에게 처분하소서 하매
1:13 Then take a look at our faces and the faces of the young men who have food from
the king's table; and, having seen them, do to your servants as it seems right to
you.
1:13 Then let our countenances be looked upon before you, and the countenance
of the children that eat of the portion of the king's food: and as you see,
deal with your servants.
1:14 그가 그들의 말을 좇아 열흘을 시험하더니
1:14 So he gave ear to them in this thing and put them to the test for ten days.
1:14 So he consented to them in this matter, and proved them ten days.
1:15 열흘 후에 그들의 얼굴이 더욱 아름답고 살이 더욱 윤택하여 왕의 진미를
먹는 모든 소년보다 나아 보인지라
1:15 And at the end of ten days their faces seemed fairer and they were fatter in flesh
than all the young men who had their food from the king's table.
1:15 And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter
in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the king's food.
1:16 이러므로 감독하는 자가 그들에게 분정된 진미와 마실 포도주를 제하고 채식을
주니라
1:16 So the keeper regularly took away their meat and the wine which was to have been
their drink, and gave them grain.
1:16 Thus Melzar took away the portion of their food, and the wine that they
should drink; and gave them vegetables.
1:17 ○ 하나님이 이 네 소년에게 지식을 얻게 하시며 모든 학문과 재주에 명철하게
하신 외에 다니엘은 또 모든 이상과 몽조를 깨달아 알더라
1:17 Now as for these four young men, God gave them knowledge and made them expert in
all book-learning and wisdom: and Daniel was wise in all visions and dreams.
1:17 As for these four children, God gave them knowledge and skill in all
learning and wisdom: and Daniel had understanding in all visions and dreams.
1:18 왕의 명한 바 그들을 불러 들일 기한이 찼으므로 환관장이 그들을 데리고
느부갓네살 앞으로 들어갔더니
1:18 Now at the end of the time fixed by the king for them to go in, the captain of the
unsexed servants took them in to Nebuchadnezzar.
1:18 Now at the end of the days that the king had said he should bring them
in, then the prince of the eunuchs brought them in before Nebuchadnezzar.
1:19 왕이 그들과 말하여 보매 무리 중에 다니엘과 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴와
같은 자 없으므로 그들로 왕 앞에 모시게 하고
1:19 And the king had talk with them; and among them all there was no one like Daniel,
Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; so they were given places before the king.
1:19 And the king communed with them; and among them all was found none like
Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah: therefore stood they before the king.
1:20 왕이 그들에게 모든 일을 묻는 중에 그 지혜와 총명이 온 나라 박수와 술객보다
십 배나 나은 줄을 아니라
1:20 And in any business needing wisdom and good sense, about which the king put questions
to them, he saw that they were ten times better than all the wonder-workers and
users of secret arts in all his kingdom.
1:20 And in all matters of wisdom and understanding, that the king enquired
of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers
that were in all his realm.
1:21 다니엘은 고레스 왕 원년까지 있으니라
1:21 And Daniel went on till the first year of King Cyrus.
1:21 And Daniel continued even unto the first year of king Cyrus.
2:1 느부갓네살이 위에 있은 지 이 년에 꿈을 꾸고 그로 인하여 마음이 번민하여
잠을 이루지 못한지라
2:1 In the second year of the rule of Nebuchadnezzar, Nebuchadnezzar had dreams; and
his spirit was troubled and his sleep went from him.
2:1 And in the second year of the reign of Nebuchadnezzar Nebuchadnezzar
dreamed dreams, wherewith his spirit was troubled, and his sleep brake from him.
2:2 왕이 그 꿈을 자기에게 고하게 하려고 명하여 박수와 술객과 점장이와 갈대아
술사를 부르매 그들이 들어와서 왕의 앞에 선지라
2:2 Then the king gave orders that the wonder-workers, and the users of secret arts,
and those who made use of evil powers, and the Chaldaeans, were to be sent for to
make clear to the king his dreams. So they came and took their places before the
king.
2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and
the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, in order to show the king his dreams. So they
came and stood before the king.
2:3 왕이 그들에게 이르되 내가 꿈을 꾸고 그 꿈을 알고자 하여 마음이 번민하도다
2:3 And the king said to them, I have had a dream, and my spirit is troubled by the
desire to have the dream made clear to me.
2:3 And the king said unto them, I have dreamed a dream, and my spirit was
troubled to know the dream.
2:4 갈대아 술사들이 아람 방언으로 왕에게 말하되 왕이여 만세수를 하옵소서
왕은 그 꿈을 종들에게 이르시면 우리가 해석하여 드리겠나이다
2:4 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in the Aramaean language, O King, have life
for ever: give your servants an account of your dream, and we will make clear to
you the sense of it.
2:4 Then spoke the Chaldeans to the king in Syriack, O king, live for ever:
tell your servants the dream, and we will show the interpretation.
2:5 왕이 갈대아 술사에게 대답하여 가로되 내가 명령을 내렸나니 너희가 만일 꿈과
그 해석을 나로 알게 하지 아니하면 너희 몸을 쪼갤 것이며 너희 집으로 거름터를
삼을 것이요
2:5 The king made answer and said to the Chaldaeans, This is my decision: if you do
not make clear to me the dream and the sense of it, you will be cut in bits and
your houses made waste.
2:5 The king answered and said to the Chaldeans, The thing is gone from me:
if all of you will not make known unto me the dream, with the interpretation
thereof, all of you shall be cut in pieces, and your houses shall be made a
dunghill.
2:6 너희가 만일 꿈과 그 해석을 보이면 너희가 선물과 상과 큰 영광을 내게서
얻으리라 그런즉 꿈과 그 해석을 내게 보이라
2:6 But if you make clear the dream and the sense of it, you will have from me offerings
and rewards and great honour: so make clear to me the dream and the sense of it.
2:6 But if all of you show the dream, and the interpretation thereof, all
of you shall receive of me gifts and rewards and great honour: therefore show
me the dream, and the interpretation thereof.
2:7 그들이 다시 대답하여 가로되 청컨대 왕은 꿈을 종들에게 이르소서 그리하시면
우리가 해석하여 드리겠나이다
2:7 A second time they said in answer, Let the king give his servants an account of
his dream, and we will make clear the sense.
2:7 They answered again and said, Let the king tell his servants the dream,
and we will show the interpretation of it.
2:8 왕이 대답하여 가로되 내가 분명히 아노라 너희가 나의 명령이 내렸음을 보았으므로
시간을 천연하려 함이로다
2:8 The king made answer and said, I am certain that you are attempting to get more
time, because you see that my decision is fixed;
2:8 The king answered and said, I know of certainty that all of you would
gain the time, because all of you see the thing is gone from me.
2:9 너희가 만일 이 꿈을 나로 알게 하지 아니하면 너희를 처치할 법이 오직 하나이니
이는 너희가 거짓말과 망령된 말을 내 앞에서 꾸며 말하여 때가 변하기를 기다리려
함이니라 이제 그 꿈을 내게 알게 하라 그리하면 너희가 그 해석도 보일 줄을 내가
알리라
2:9 That if you do not make my dream clear to me there is only one fate for you: for
you have made ready false and evil words to say before me till the times are changed:
so give me an account of the dream, and I will be certain that you are able to make
the sense of it clear.
2:9 But if all of you will not make known unto me the dream, there is but
one decree for you: for all of you have prepared lying and corrupt words to
speak before me, till the time be changed: therefore tell me the dream, and
I shall know that all of you can show me the interpretation thereof.
2:10 갈대아 술사들이 왕 앞에 대답하여 가로되 세상에는 왕의 그 일을 보일 자가
하나도 없으므로 크고 권력 있는 왕이 이런 것으로 박수에게나 술객에게나 갈대아
술사에게 물은 자가 절대로 있지 아니하였나이다
2:10 Then the Chaldaeans said to the king in answer, There is not a man on earth able
to make clear the king's business; for no king, however great his power, has ever
made such a request to any wonder-worker or user of secret arts or Chaldaean.
2:10 The Chaldeans answered before the king, and said, There is not a man
upon the earth that can show the king's matter: therefore there is no king,
lord, nor ruler, that asked such things at any magician, or astrologer, or Chaldean.
2:11 왕의 물으신 것은 희한한 일이라 육체와 함께 거하지 아니하는 신들 외에는
왕 앞에 그것을 보일 자가 없나이다 한지라
2:11 The king's request is a very hard one, and there is no other who is able to make
it clear to the king, but the gods, whose living-place is not with flesh.
2:11 And it is a rare thing that the king requires, and there is no other
that can show it before the king, except the gods, whose dwelling is not with
flesh.
2:12 왕이 이로 인하여 진노하고 통분하여 바벨론 모든 박사를 다 멸하라 명하니라
2:12 Because of this the king was angry and full of wrath, and gave orders for the destruction
of all the wise men of Babylon.
2:12 For this cause the king was angry and very furious, and commanded to
destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
2:13 왕의 명령이 내리매 박사들은 죽게 되었고 다니엘과 그 동무도 죽이려고
찾았더라
2:13 So the order went out that the wise men were to be put to death; and they were looking
for Daniel and his friends to put them to death.
2:13 And the decree went forth that the wise men should be slain; and they
sought Daniel and his fellows to be slain.
2:14 ○ 왕의 시위대 장관 아리옥이 바벨론 박사들을 죽이러 나가매 다니엘이
명철하고 슬기로운 말로
2:14 Then Daniel gave an answer with wisdom and good sense to Arioch, the captain of
the king's armed men, who had gone out to put to death the wise men of Babylon;
2:14 Then Daniel answered with counsel and wisdom to Arioch the captain of
the king's guard, which was gone forth to slay the wise men of Babylon:
2:15 왕의 장관 아리옥에게 물어 가로되 왕의 명령이 어찌 그리 급하뇨 아리옥이
그 일을 다니엘에게 고하매
2:15 He made answer and said to Arioch, O captain of the king, why is the king's order
so cruel? Then Arioch gave Daniel an account of the business.
2:15 He answered and said to Arioch the king's captain, Why is the decree
so hasty from the king? Then Arioch made the thing known to Daniel.
2:16 다니엘이 들어가서 왕께 구하기를 기한하여 주시면 왕에게 그 해석을 보여
드리겠다 하니라
2:16 And Daniel went in and made a request to the king to give him time and he would
make clear the sense of his dream to the king.
2:16 Then Daniel went in, and desired of the king that he would give him
time, and that he would show the king the interpretation.
2:17 ○ 이에 다니엘이 자기 집으로 돌아가서 그 동무 하나냐와 미사엘과 아사랴에게
그 일을 고하고
2:17 And Daniel went to his house and gave his friends Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah
the news:
2:17 Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah,
Mishael, and Azariah, his companions:
2:18 하늘에 계신 하나님이 이 은밀한 일에 대하여 긍휼히 여기사 자기 다니엘과
동무들이 바벨론의 다른 박사와 함께 죽임을 당치 않게 하시기를 그들로 구하게 하니라
2:18 So that they might make a request for the mercy of the God of heaven in the question
of this secret; so that Daniel and his friends might not come to destruction with
the rest of the wise men of Babylon.
2:18 That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this
secret; that Daniel and his fellows should not perish with the rest of the wise
men of Babylon.
2:19 이에 이 은밀한 것이 밤에 이상으로 다니엘에게 나타나 보이매 다니엘이
하늘에 계신 하나님을 찬송하니라
2:19 Then the secret was made clear to Daniel in a vision of the night. And Daniel gave
blessing to the God of heaven.
2:19 Then was the secret revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel
blessed the God of heaven.
2:20 다니엘이 말하여 가로되 영원 무궁히 하나님의 이름을 찬송할 것은 지혜와
권능이 그에게 있음이로다
2:20 And Daniel said in answer, May the name of God be praised for ever and ever: for
wisdom and strength are his:
2:20 Daniel answered and said, Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever:
for wisdom and might are his:
2:21 그는 때와 기한을 변하시며 왕들을 폐하시고 왕들을 세우시며 지혜자에게
지혜를 주시고 지식자에게 총명을 주시는도다
2:21 By him times and years are changed: by him kings are taken away and kings are lifted
up: he gives wisdom to the wise, and knowledge to those whose minds are awake:
2:21 And he changes the times and the seasons: he removes kings, and sets
up kings: he gives wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding:
2:22 그는 깊고 은밀한 일을 나타내시고 어두운 데 있는 것을 아시며 또 빛이 그와
함께 있도다
2:22 He is the unveiler of deep and secret things: he has knowledge of what is in the
dark, and the light has its living-place with him.
2:22 He reveals the deep and secret things: he knows what is in the darkness,
and the light dwells with him.
2:23 나의 열조의 하나님이여 주께서 이제 내게 지혜와 능력을 주시고 우리가
주께 구한 바 일을 내게 알게 하셨사오니 내가 주께 감사하고 주를 찬양하나이다 곧
주께서 왕의 그 일을 내게 보이셨나이다 하니라
2:23 I give you praise and worship, O God of my fathers, who have given me wisdom and
strength, and have now made clear to me what we were requesting from you: for you
have given us knowledge of the king's business.
2:23 I thank you, and praise you, O you God of my fathers, who have given
me wisdom and might, and have made known unto me now what we desired of you:
for you have now made known unto us the king's matter.
2:24 이에 다니엘이 왕이 바벨론 박사들을 멸하라 명한 아리옥에게로 가서 이르매
그에게 이같이 이르되 바벨론 박사들을 멸하지 말고 나를 왕의 앞으로 인도하라 그리하면
내가 그 해석을 왕께 보여 드리리라
2:24 For this reason Daniel went to Arioch, to whom the king had given orders for the
destruction of the wise men of Babylon, and said to him, Do not put to death the
wise men of Babylon: take me in before the king and I will make clear to him the
sense of the dream.
2:24 Therefore Daniel went in unto Arioch, whom the king had ordained to
destroy the wise men of Babylon: he went and said thus unto him; Destroy not
the wise men of Babylon: bring me in before the king, and I will show unto the
king the interpretation.
2:25 ○ 이에 아리옥이 다니엘을 데리고 급히 왕의 앞에 들어가서 고하되 내가
사로잡혀 온 유다 자손 중에서 한 사람을 얻었나이다 그가 그 해석을 왕께 아시게
하리이다
2:25 Then Arioch quickly took Daniel in before the king, and said to him, Here is a man
from among the prisoners of Judah, who will make clear to the king the sense of
the dream.
2:25 Then Arioch brought in Daniel before the king in haste, and said thus
unto him, I have found a man of the captives of Judah, that will make known
unto the king the interpretation.
2:26 왕이 대답하여 벨드사살이라 이름한 다니엘에게 이르되 내가 얻은 꿈과 그
해석을 네가 능히 내게 알게 하겠느냐
2:26 The king made answer and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are you able
to make clear to me the dream which I saw and its sense?
2:26 The king answered and said to Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, Are
you able to make known unto me the dream which I have seen, and the interpretation
thereof?
2:27 다니엘이 왕 앞에 대답하여 가로되 왕의 물으신 바 은밀한 것은 박사나 술객이나
박수나 점장이가 능히 왕께 보일 수 없으되
2:27 Then Daniel said in answer to the king, No wise men, or users of secret arts, or
wonder-workers, or readers of signs, are able to make clear to the king the secret
he is searching for;
2:27 Daniel answered in the presence of the king, and said, The secret which
the king has demanded cannot the wise men, the astrologers, the magicians, the
soothsayers, show unto the king;
2:28 오직 은밀한 것을 나타내실 자는 하늘에 계신 하나님이시라 그가 느부갓네살
왕에게
후일에 될 일을 알게 하셨나이다 왕의 꿈 곧 왕이 침상에서 뇌 속으로 받은 이상은
이러하니이다
2:28 But there is a God in heaven, the unveiler of secrets, and he has given to King
Nebuchadnezzar knowledge of what will take place in the last days. Your dreams and
the visions of your head on your bed are these:
2:28 But there is a God in heaven that reveals secrets, and makes known to
the king Nebuchadnezzar what shall be in the latter days. Your dream, and the
visions of your head upon your bed, are these;
2:29 왕이여 왕이 침상에 나아가서 장래 일을 생각하실 때에 은밀한 것을 나타내시는
이가 장래 일을 왕에게 알게 하셨사오며
2:29 As for you, O King, the thoughts which came to you on your bed were of what will
come about after this: and the unveiler of secrets has made clear to you what is
to come.
2:29 As for you, O king, your thoughts came into your mind upon your bed,
what should come to pass hereafter: and he that reveals secrets makes known
to you what shall come to pass.
2:30 내게 이 은밀한 것을 나타내심은 내 지혜가 다른 인생보다 나은 것이 아니라
오직 그 해석을 왕에게 알려서 왕의 마음으로 생각하던 것을 왕으로 알게 하려 하심이니이다
2:30 As for me, this secret is not made clear to me because of any wisdom which I have
more than any living man, but in order that the sense of the dream may be made clear
to the king, and that you may have knowledge of the thoughts of your heart.
2:30 But as for me, this secret is not revealed to me for any wisdom that
I have more than any living, but for their sakes that shall make known the interpretation
to the king, and that you might know the thoughts of your heart.
2:31 ○ 왕이여 왕이 한 큰 신상을 보셨나이다 그 신상이 왕의 앞에 섰는데 크고
광채가 특심하며 그 모양이 심히 두려우니
2:31 You, O King, were looking, and a great image was there. This image, which was very
great, and whose glory was very bright, was placed before you: its form sent fear
into the heart.
2:31 You, O king, saw, and behold a great image. This great image, whose
brightness was excellent, stood before you; and the form thereof was terrible.
2:32 그 우상의 머리는 정금이요 가슴과 팔들은 은이요 배와 넓적다리는 놋이요
2:32 As for this image, its head was made of the best gold, its breast and its arms were
of silver, its middle and its sides were of brass,
2:32 This image's head was of fine gold, his breast and his arms of silver,
his belly and his thighs of brass,
2:33 그 종아리는 철이요 그 발은 얼마는 철이요 얼마는 진흙이었나이다
2:33 Its legs of iron, its feet were in part of iron and in part of potter's earth.
2:33 His legs of iron, his feet part of iron and part of clay.
2:34 또 왕이 보신즉 사람의 손으로 하지 아니하고 뜨인 돌이 신상의 철과 진흙의
발을 쳐서 부숴뜨리매
2:34 While you were looking at it, a stone was cut out, but not by hands, and it gave
the image a blow on its feet, which were of iron and earth, and they were broken
in bits.
2:34 You saw till that a stone was cut out without hands, which stroke the
image upon his feet that were of iron and clay, and brake them to pieces.
2:35 때에 철과 진흙과 놋과 은과 금이 다 부숴져 여름 타작 마당의 겨 같이 되어
바람에 불려 간 곳이 없었고 우상을 친 돌은 태산을 이루어 온 세계에 가득하였었나이다
2:35 Then the iron and the earth, the brass and the silver and the gold, were smashed
together, and became like the dust on the floors where grain is crushed in summer;
and the wind took them away so that no sign of them was to be seen: and the stone
which gave the image a blow became a great mountain, covering all the earth.
2:35 Then was the iron, the clay, the brass, the silver, and the gold, broken
to pieces together, and became like the chaff of the summer threshing floors;
and the wind carried them away, that no place was found for them: and the stone
that stroke the image became a great mountain, and filled the whole earth.
2:36 ○ 그 꿈이 이러한즉 내가 이제 그 해석을 왕 앞에 진술하리이다
2:36 This is the dream; and we will make clear to the king the sense of it.
2:36 This is the dream; and we will tell the interpretation thereof before
the king.
2:37 왕이여 왕은 열왕의 왕이시라 하늘의 하나님이 나라와 권세와 능력과 영광을
왕에게 주셨고
2:37 You, O King, king of kings, to whom the God of heaven has given the kingdom, the
power, and the strength, and the glory,
2:37 You, O king, are a king of kings: for the God of heaven has given you
a kingdom, power, and strength, and glory.
2:38 인생들과 들짐승과 공중의 새들 어느 곳에 있는 것을 무론하고 그것들을 왕의
손에 붙이사 다 다스리게 하셨으니 왕은 곧 그 금 머리니이다
2:38 Wherever the children of men are living; into whose hands he has given the beasts
of the field and the birds of heaven, and has made you ruler over them all, you
are the head of gold.
2:38 And where ever the children of men dwell, the beasts of the field and
the fowls of the heaven has he given into yours hand, and has made you ruler
over them all. You are this head of gold.
2:39 왕의 후에 왕만 못한 다른 나라가 일어날 것이요 세째로 또 놋 같은 나라가
일어나서 온 세계를 다스릴 것이며
2:39 And after you another kingdom, lower than you, will come to power; and a third kingdom,
of brass, ruling over all the earth.
2:39 And after you shall arise another kingdom inferior to you, and another
third kingdom of brass, which shall bear rule over all the earth.
2:40 네째 나라는 강하기가 철 같으리니 철은 모든 물건을 부숴뜨리고 이기는
것이라 철이 모든 것을 부수는 것 같이 그 나라가 뭇 나라를 부숴뜨리고 빻을 것이며
2:40 And the fourth kingdom will be strong as iron: because, as all things are broken
and overcome by iron, so it will have the power of crushing and smashing down all
the earth.
2:40 And the fourth kingdom shall be strong as iron: forasmuch as iron breaks
in pieces and subdues all things: and as iron that breaks all these, shall it
break in pieces and bruise.
2:41 왕께서 그 발과 발가락이 얼마는 토기장이의 진흙이요 얼마는 철인 것을
보셨은즉 그 나라가 나누일 것이며 왕께서 철과 진흙이 섞인 것을 보셨은즉 그 나라가
철의 든든함이 있을 것이나
2:41 And as you saw the feet and toes, part of potter's work and part of iron, there
will be a division in the kingdom; but there will be some of the strength of iron
in it, because you saw the iron mixed with the potter's earth.
2:41 And whereas you saw the feet and toes, part of potters' clay, and part
of iron, the kingdom shall be divided; but there shall be in it of the strength
of the iron, forasmuch as you saw the iron mixed with miry clay.
2:42 그 발가락이 얼마는 철이요 얼마는 진흙인즉 그 나라가 얼마는 든든하고
얼마는 부숴질 만할 것이며
2:42 And as the toes of the feet were in part of iron and in part of earth, so part of
the kingdom will be strong and part of it will readily be broken.
2:42 And as the toes of the feet were part of iron, and part of clay, so
the kingdom shall be partly strong, and partly broken.
2:43 왕께서 철과 진흙이 섞인 것을 보셨은즉 그들이 다른 인종과 서로 섞일 것이나
피차에 합하지 아니함이 철과 진흙이 합하지 않음과 같으리이다
2:43 And as you saw the iron mixed with earth, they will give their daughters to one
another as wives: but they will not be united one with another, even as iron is
not mixed with earth.
2:43 And whereas you saw iron mixed with miry clay, they shall mingle themselves
with the seed of men: but they shall not cleave one to another, even as iron
is not mixed with clay.
2:44 이 열왕의 때에 하늘의 하나님이 한 나라를 세우시리니 이것은 영원히 망하지도
아니할 것이요 그 국권이 다른 백성에게로 돌아가지도 아니할 것이요 도리어 이 모든
나라를 쳐서 멸하고 영원히 설 것이라
2:44 And in the days of those kings, the God of heaven will put up a kingdom which will
never come to destruction, and its power will never be given into the hands of another
people, and all these kingdoms will be broken and overcome by it, but it will keep
its place for ever.
2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom,
which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people,
but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand
for ever.
2:45 왕이 사람의 손으로 아니하고 산에서 뜨인 돌이 철과 놋과 진흙과 은과 금을
부숴뜨린 것을 보신 것은 크신 하나님이 장래 일을 왕께 알게 하신 것이라 이 꿈이
참되고 이 해석이 확실하니이다
2:45 Because you saw that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that
by it the iron and the brass and the earth and the silver and the gold were broken
to bits, a great God has given the king knowledge of what is to take place in the
future: the dream is fixed, and its sense is certain.
2:45 Forasmuch as you saw that the stone was cut out of the mountain without
hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver,
and the gold; the great God has made known to the king what shall come to pass
hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.
2:46 ○ 이에 느부갓네살 왕이 엎드려 다니엘에게 절하고 명하여 예물과 향품을
그에게 드리게 하니라
2:46 Then King Nebuchadnezzar, falling down on his face, gave worship to Daniel, and
gave orders for an offering and spices to be given to him;
2:46 Then the king Nebuchadnezzar fell upon his face, and worshipped Daniel,
and commanded that they should offer an oblation and sweet odours unto him.
2:47 왕이 대답하여 다니엘에게 이르되 너희 하나님은 참으로 모든 신의 신이시요
모든 왕의 주재시로다 네가 능히 이 은밀한 것을 나타내었으니 네 하나님은 또 은밀한
것을 나타내시는 자시로다
2:47 And the king made answer to Daniel and said, Truly, your God is a God of gods and
a Lord of kings, and an unveiler of secrets, for you have been able to make this
secret clear.
2:47 The king answered unto Daniel, and said, Truthfully it is, that your
God is a God of gods, and a Lord of kings, and a revealer of secrets, seeing
you could reveal this secret.
2:48 왕이 이에 다니엘을 높여 귀한 선물을 많이 주며 세워 바벨론 온 도를 다스리게 하며 또 바벨론 모든 박사의 어른을 삼았으며
2:48 Then the king made Daniel great, and gave him offerings in great number, and made
him ruler over all the land of Babylon, and chief over all the wise men of Babylon.
2:48 Then the king made Daniel a great man, and gave him many great gifts,
and made him ruler over the whole province of Babylon, and chief of the governors
over all the wise men of Babylon.
2:49 왕이 또 다니엘의 청구대로 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 세워 바벨론 도의
일을 다스리게 하였고 다니엘은 왕궁에 있었더라
2:49 And at Daniel's request, the king gave Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego authority
over the business of the land of Babylon: but Daniel was kept near the king's person.
2:49 Then Daniel requested of the king, and he set Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abednego, over the affairs of the province of Babylon: but Daniel sat in the
gate of the king.
3:1 느부갓네살 왕이 금으로 신상을 만들었으니 고는 육십 규빗이요 광은 여섯
규빗이라 그것을 바벨론 도의 두라 평지에 세웠더라
3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, sixty cubits high and six cubits
wide: he put it up in the valley of Dura, in the land of Babylon.
3:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king made an image of gold, whose height was threescore
cubits, and the breadth thereof six cubits: he set it up in the plain of Dura,
in the province of Babylon.
3:2 느부갓네살 왕이 보내어 방백과 수령과 도백과 재판관과 재무관과 모사와
법률사와 각 도 모든 관원을 자기 느부갓네살 왕의 세운 신상의 낙성 예식에 참집하게
하매
3:2 And Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to get together all the captains, the chiefs, the
rulers, the wise men, the keepers of public money, the judges, the overseers, and
all the rulers of the divisions of the country, to come to see the unveiling of
the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had put up.
3:2 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king sent to gather together the princes, the
governors, and the captains, the judges, the treasurers, the counsellors, the
sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, to come to the dedication of
the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had set up.
3:3 이에 방백과 수령과 도백과 재판관과 재무관과 모사와 법률사와 각 도 모든
관원이 느부갓네살 왕의 세운 신상의 낙성 예식에 참집하여 느부갓네살의 세운 신상
앞에 서니라
3:3 Then the captains, the chiefs, the rulers, the wise men, the keepers of public money,
the judges, the overseers, and all the rulers of the divisions of the country, came
together to see the unveiling of the image which Nebuchadnezzar the king had put
up; and they took their places before the image which Nebuchadnezzar had put up.
3:3 Then the princes, the governors, and captains, the judges, the treasurers,
the counsellors, the sheriffs, and all the rulers of the provinces, were gathered
together unto the dedication of the image that Nebuchadnezzar the king had set
up; and they stood before the image that Nebuchadnezzar had set up.
3:4 반포하는 자가 크게 외쳐 가로되 백성들과 나라들과 각 방언하는 자들아 왕이
너희 무리에게 명하시나니
3:4 Then one of the king's criers said in a loud voice, To you the order is given, O
peoples, nations, and languages,
3:4 Then an herald cried aloud, To you it is commanded, O people, nations,
and languages,
3:5 너희는 나팔과 피리와 수금과 삼현금과 양금과 생황과 및 모든 악기 소리를
들을 때에 엎드리어 느부갓네살 왕의 세운 금 신상에게 절하라
3:5 That when the sound of the horn, pipe, harp, trigon, psaltery, bagpipe, and all
sorts of instruments, comes to your ears, you are to go down on your faces in worship
before the image of gold which Nebuchadnezzar the king has put up:
3:5 That at what time all of you hear the sound of the cornet, flute, harp,
sackbut, psaltery, dulcimer, and all kinds of music, all of you fall down and
worship the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar the king has set up:
3:6 누구든지 엎드리어 절하지 아니하는 자는 즉시 극렬히 타는 풀무에 던져 넣으리라
하매
3:6 And anyone not falling down and worshipping will that same hour be put into a burning
and flaming fire.
3:6 And whoso falls not down and worships shall the same hour be cast into
the midst of a burning fiery furnace.
3:7 모든 백성과 나라들과 각 방언하는 자들이 나팔과 피리와 수금과 삼현금과
양금과 및 모든 악기 소리를 듣자 곧 느부갓네살 왕의 세운 금 신상에게 엎드리어
절하니라
3:7 So at that time, all the people, when the sound of the horn, pipe, harp, trigon,
psaltery, and all sorts of instruments, came to their ears, went down on their faces
in worship before the image of gold which Nebuchadnezzar the king had put up.
3:7 Therefore at that time, when all the people heard the sound of the cornet,
flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and all kinds of music, all the people, the
nations, and the languages, fell down and worshipped the golden image that Nebuchadnezzar
the king had set up.
3:8 ○ 그 때에 어떤 갈대아 사람들이 나아와 유다 사람들을 참소하니라
3:8 At that time certain Chaldaeans came near and made a statement against the Jews.
3:8 Wherefore at that time certain Chaldeans came near, and accused the Jews.
3:9 그들이 느부갓네살 왕에게 고하여 가로되 왕이여 만세수를 하옵소서
3:9 They made answer and said to Nebuchadnezzar the king, O King, have life for ever.
3:9 They spoke and said to the king Nebuchadnezzar, O king, live for ever.
3:10 왕이여 왕이 명령을 내리사 무릇 사람마다 나팔과 피리와 수금과 삼현금과
양금과 생황과 및 모든 악기 소리를 듣거든 엎드리어 금 신상에게 절할 것이라
3:10 You, O King, have given an order that every man, when the sound of the horn, pipe,
harp, trigon, psaltery, bagpipe, and all sorts of instruments, comes to his ears,
is to go down on his face in worship before the image of gold:
3:10 You, O king, have made a decree, that every man that shall hear the
sound of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds
of music, shall fall down and worship the golden image:
3:11 누구든지 엎드리어 절하지 아니하는 자는 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데 던져
넣음을 당하리라 하지 아니하셨나이까
3:11 And anyone not falling down and worshipping is to be put into a burning and flaming
fire.
3:11 And whoso falls not down and worships, that he should be cast into the
midst of a burning fiery furnace.
3:12 이제 몇 유다 사람 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고는 왕이 세워 바벨론 도를 다스리게
하신 자이어늘 왕이여 이 사람들이 왕을 높이지 아니하며 왕의 신들을 섬기지 아니하며
왕이 세우신 금 신상에게 절하지 아니하나이다
3:12 There are certain Jews whom you have put over the business of the land of Babylon,
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego; these men have not given attention to you, O King:
they are not servants of your gods or worshippers of the gold image which you have
put up.
3:12 There are certain Jews whom you have set over the affairs of the province
of Babylon, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego; these men, O king, have not regarded
you: they serve not your gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set
up.
3:13 ○ 느부갓네살 왕이 노하고 분하여 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 끌어오라
명하매 드디어 그 사람들을 왕의 앞으로 끌어온지라
3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his wrath and passion gave orders for Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abed-nego to be sent for. Then they made these men come in before the king.
3:13 Then Nebuchadnezzar in his rage and fury commanded to bring Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego. Then they brought these men before the king.
3:14 느부갓네살이 그들에게 물어 가로되 사드락, 메삭, 아벳느고야 너희가 내
신을 섬기지 아니하며 내가 세운 그 신상에게 절하지 아니하니 짐짓 그리하였느냐
3:14 Nebuchadnezzar made answer and said to them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach, and
Abed-nego, that you will not be servants of my god or give worship to the image
of gold which I have put up?
3:14 Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said unto them, Is it true, O Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abednego, do not all of you serve my gods, nor worship the golden image
which I have set up?
3:15 이제라도 너희가 예비하였다가 언제든지 나팔과 피리와 수금과 삼현금과
양금과 생황과 및 모든 악기 소리를 듣거든 내가 만든 신상 앞에 엎드리어 절하면
좋거니와 너희가 만일 절하지 아니하면 즉시 너희를 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데 던져
넣을 것이니 능히 너희를 내 손에서 건져낼 신이 어떤 신이겠느냐
3:15 Now if you are ready, on hearing the sound of the horn, pipe, harp, trigon, psaltery,
bagpipe, and all sorts of instruments, to go down on your faces in worship before
the image which I have made, it is well: but if you will not give worship, that
same hour you will be put into a burning and flaming fire; and what god is there
who will be able to take you out of my hands?
3:15 Now if all of you be ready that at what time all of you hear the sound
of the cornet, flute, harp, sackbut, psaltery, and dulcimer, and all kinds of
music, all of you fall down and worship the image which I have made; well: but
if all of you worship not, all of you shall be cast the same hour into the midst
of a burning fiery furnace; and who is that God that shall deliver you out of
my hands?
3:16 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고가 왕에게 대답하여 가로되 느부갓네살이여 우리가
이 일에 대하여 왕에게 대답할 필요가 없나이다
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, answering Nebuchadnezzar the king, said, There
is no need for us to give you an answer to this question.
3:16 Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar,
we are not careful to answer you in this matter.
3:17 만일 그럴 것이면 왕이여 우리가 섬기는 우리 하나님이 우리를 극렬히 타는
풀무 가운데서 능히 건져내시겠고 왕의 손에서도 건져내시리이다
3:17 If our God, whose servants we are, is able to keep us safe from the burning and
flaming fire, and from your hands, O King, he will keep us safe.
3:17 If it be so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning
fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of yours hand, O king.
3:18 그리 아니하실지라도 왕이여 우리가 왕의 신들을 섬기지도 아니하고 왕의
세우신 금 신상에게 절하지도 아니할 줄을 아옵소서
3:18 But if not, be certain, O King, that we will not be the servants of your gods, or
give worship to the image of gold which you have put up.
3:18 But if not, be it known unto you, O king, that we will not serve your
gods, nor worship the golden image which you have set up.
3:19 ○ 느부갓네살이 분이 가득하여 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 향하여 낯빛을
변하고 명하여 이르되 그 풀무를 뜨겁게 하기를 평일보다 칠 배나 뜨겁게 하라 하고
3:19 Then Nebuchadnezzar was full of wrath, and the form of his face was changed against
Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego: and he gave orders that the fire was to be heated
up seven times more than it was generally heated.
3:19 Then was Nebuchadnezzar full of fury, and the form of his visage was
changed against Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego: therefore he spoke, and commanded
that they should heat the furnace one seven times more than it was known to
be heated.
3:20 군대 중 용사 몇 사람을 명하여 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 결박하여 극렬히
타는 풀무 가운데 던지라 하니
3:20 And he gave orders to certain strong men in his army to put cords on Shadrach, Meshach
and Abed-nego and put them into the burning and flaming fire.
3:20 And he commanded the most mighty men that were in his army to bind Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, and to cast them into the burning fiery furnace.
3:21 이 사람들을 고의와 속옷과 겉옷과 별다른 옷을 입은 채 결박하여 극렬히
타는 풀무 가운데 던질 때에
3:21 Then these men had cords put round them as they were, in their coats, their trousers,
their hats, and their clothing, and were dropped into the burning and flaming fire.
3:21 Then these men were bound in their coats, their upper garments, and
their hats, and their other garments, and were cast into the midst of the burning
fiery furnace.
3:22 왕의 명령이 엄하고 풀무가 심히 뜨거우므로 불꽃이 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를
붙든 사람을 태워 죽였고
3:22 And because the king's order was not to be put on one side, and the heat of the
fire was so great, the men who took up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego were burned
to death by the flame of the fire.
3:22 Therefore because the king's commandment was urgent, and the furnace
exceeding hot, the flames of the fire slew those men that took up Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego.
3:23 이 세 사람 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고는 결박된 채 극렬히 타는 풀무 가운데
떨어졌더라
3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, with the cords about them,
went down into the burning and flaming fire.
3:23 And these three men, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, fell down bound
into the midst of the burning fiery furnace.
3:24 ○ 때에 느부갓네살 왕이 놀라 급히 일어나서 모사들에게 물어 가로되 우리가
결박하여 불 가운데 던진 자는 세 사람이 아니었느냐 그들이 왕에게 대답하여 가로되
왕이여 옳소이다
3:24 Then King Nebuchadnezzar, full of fear and wonder, got up quickly, and said to his
wise men, Did we not put three men in cords into the fire? and they made answer
and said to the king, True, O King.
3:24 Then Nebuchadnezzar the king was astonished, and rose up in haste, and
spoke, and said unto his counsellors, Did not we cast three men bound into the
midst of the fire? They answered and said unto the king, True, O king.
3:25 왕이 또 말하여 가로되 내가 보니 결박되지 아니한 네 사람이 불 가운데로
다니는데 상하지도 아니하였고 그 네째의 모양은 신들의 아들과 같도다 하고
3:25 He made answer and said, Look! I see four men loose, walking in the middle of the
fire, and they are not damaged; and the form of the fourth is like a son of the
gods.
3:25 He answered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst
of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son
of God.
3:26 느부갓네살이 극렬히 타는 풀무 아구 가까이 가서 불러 가로되 지극히 높으신
하나님의 종 사드락, 메삭, 아벳느고야 나와서 이리로 오라 하매 사드락과 메삭과
아벳느고가 불 가운데서 나온지라
3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near the door of the burning and flaming fire: he made
answer and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, you servants of the Most High
God, come out and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego came out of the
fire.
3:26 Then Nebuchadnezzar came near to the mouth of the burning fiery furnace,
and spoke, and said, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, all of you servants of
the most high God, come forth, and come here. Then Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
came out of the midst of the fire.
3:27 방백과 수령과 도백과 왕의 모사들이 모여 이 사람들을 본즉 불이 능히 그
몸을 해하지 못하였고 머리털도 그슬리지 아니하였고 고의 빛도 변하지 아니하였고
불 탄 냄새도 없었더라
3:27 And the captains, the chiefs, and the rulers, and the king's wise men who had come
together, saw these men, over whose bodies the fire had no power, and not a hair
of their heads was burned, and their coats were not changed, and there was no smell
of fire about them.
3:27 And the princes, governors, and captains, and the king's counsellors,
being gathered together, saw these men, upon whose bodies the fire had no power,
nor was an hair of their head singed, neither were their coats changed, nor
the smell of fire had passed on them.
3:28 느부갓네살이 말하여 가로되 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고의 하나님을 찬송할지로다
그가 그 사자를 보내사 자기를 의뢰하고 그 몸을 버려서 왕의 명을 거역하고 그 하나님
밖에는 다른 신을 섬기지 아니하며 그에게 절하지 아니한 종들을 구원하셨도다
3:28 Nebuchadnezzar made answer and said, Praise be to the God of Shadrach, Meshach,
and Abed-nego, who has sent his angel and kept his servants safe who had faith in
him, and who put the king's word on one side and gave up their bodies to the fire,
so that they might not be servants or worshippers of any other god but their God.
3:28 Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke, and said, Blessed be the God of Shadrach,
Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel, and delivered his servants that
trusted in him, and have changed the king's word, and yielded their bodies,
that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God.
3:29 ○ 그러므로 내가 이제 조서를 내리노니 각 백성과 각 나라와 각 방언하는
자가 무릇 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고의 하나님께 설만히 말하거든 그 몸을 쪼개고
그 집으로 거름터를 삼을지니 이는 이같이 사람을 구원할 다른 신이 없음이니라
하고
3:29 And it is my decision that any people, nation, or language saying evil against the
God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego, will be cut to bits and their houses made
waste: because there is no other god who is able to give salvation such as this.
3:29 Therefore I make a decree, That every people, nation, and language,
which speak any thing amiss against the God of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego,
shall be cut in pieces, and their houses shall be made a dunghill: because there
is no other God that can deliver after this sort.
3:30 왕이 드디어 사드락과 메삭과 아벳느고를 바벨론 도에서 더욱 높이니라
3:30 Then the king gave Shadrach, Meshach, and Abed-nego even greater authority in the
land of Babylon.
3:30 Then the king promoted Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, in the province
of Babylon.
4:1 느부갓네살 왕은 천하에 거하는 백성들과 나라들과 각 방언하는 자에게 조서하노라
원하노니 너희에게 많은 평강이 있을지어다
4:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, to all the peoples, nations, and languages living in all
the earth: May your peace be increased.
4:1 Nebuchadnezzar the king, unto all people, nations, and languages, that
dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
4:2 지극히 높으신 하나님이 내게 행하신 이적과 기사를 내가 알게 하기를 즐겨
하노라
4:2 It has seemed good to me to make clear the signs and wonders which the Most High
God has done with me.
4:2 I thought it good to show the signs and wonders that the high God has
wrought toward me.
4:3 크도다 그 이적이여 능하도다 그 기사여 그 나라는 영원한 나라요 그 권병은
대대에 이르리로다
4:3 How great are his signs! and how full of power are his wonders! his kingdom is an
eternal kingdom and his rule goes on from generation to generation.
4:3 How great are his signs! and how mighty are his wonders! his kingdom
is an everlasting kingdom, and his dominion is from generation to generation.
4:4 나 느부갓네살이 내 집에 편히 있으며 내 궁에서 평강할 때에
4:4 I, Nebuchadnezzar, was at rest in my place, and all things were going well for me
in my great house:
4:4 I Nebuchadnezzar was at rest in mine house, and flourishing in my palace:
4:5 한 꿈을 꾸고 그로 인하여 두려워하였으되 곧 내 침상에서 생각하는 것과
뇌 속으로 받은 이상을 인하여 번민하였었노라
4:5 I saw a dream which was a cause of great fear to me; I was troubled by the images
of my mind on my bed, and by the visions of my head.
4:5 I saw a dream which made me afraid, and the thoughts upon my bed and
the visions of my head troubled me.
4:6 이러므로 내가 명을 내려 바벨론 모든 박사를 내 앞으로 불러다가 그 꿈의
해석을 내게 알게 하라 하매
4:6 And I gave orders for all the wise men of Babylon to come in before me so that they
might make clear to me the sense of my dream.
4:6 Therefore made I a decree to bring in all the wise men of Babylon before
me, that they might make known unto me the interpretation of the dream.
4:7 박수와 술객과 갈대아 술사와 점장이가 들어왔기로 내가 그 꿈을 그들에게
고하였으나 그들이 그 해석을 내게 알게 하지 못하였느니라
4:7 Then the wonder-workers, the users of secret arts, the Chaldaeans, and the readers
of signs came in to me: and I put the dream before them but they did not make clear
the sense of it to me.
4:7 Then came in the magicians, the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and the soothsayers:
and I told the dream before them; but they did not make known unto me the interpretation
thereof.
4:8 그 후에 다니엘이 내 앞에 들어왔으니 그는 내 신의 이름을 좇아 벨드사살이라
이름한 자요 그의 안에는 거룩한 신들의 영이 있는 자라 내가 그에게 꿈을 고하여
가로되
4:8 But at last Daniel came in before me, he whose name was Belteshazzar, after the
name of my god, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods: and I put the dream
before him, saying,
4:8 But at the last Daniel came in before me, whose name was Belteshazzar,
according to the name of my God, and in whom is the spirit of the holy gods:
and before him I told the dream, saying,
4:9 박수장 벨드사살아 네 안에는 거룩한 신들의 영이 있은즉 아무 은밀한 것이라도
네게는 어려울 것이 없는 줄을 내가 아노니 내 꿈에 본 이상의 해석을 내게 고하라
4:9 O Belteshazzar, master of the wonder-workers, because I am certain that the spirit
of the holy gods is in you, and you are troubled by no secret; this is the dream
which I saw: make clear to me its sense.
4:9 O Belteshazzar, master of the magicians, because I know that the spirit
of the holy gods is in you, and no secret troubles you, tell me the visions
of my dream that I have seen, and the interpretation thereof.
4:10 내가 침상에서 나의 뇌 속으로 받은 이상이 이러하니라 내가 본즉 땅의 중앙에
한 나무가 있는데 고가 높더니
4:10 On my bed I saw a vision: there was a tree in the middle of the earth, and it was
very high.
4:10 Thus were the visions of mine head in my bed; I saw, and behold a tree
in the midst of the earth, and the height thereof was great.
4:11 그 나무가 자라서 견고하여지고 그 고는 하늘에 닿았으니 땅 끝에서도 보이겠고
4:11 And the tree became tall and strong, stretching up to heaven, and to be seen from
the ends of the earth:
4:11 The tree grew, and was strong, and the height thereof reached unto heaven,
and the sight thereof to the end of all the earth:
4:12 그 잎사귀는 아름답고 그 열매는 많아서 만민의 식물이 될 만하고 들짐승이
그 그늘에 있으며 공중에 나는 새는 그 가지에 깃들이고 무릇 혈기 있는 자가 거기서
식물을 얻더라
4:12 Its leaves were fair and it had much fruit, and in it was food enough for all: the
beasts of the field had shade under it, and the birds of heaven were resting in
its branches, and it gave food to all living things.
4:12 The leaves thereof were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it
was food for all: the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls
of the heaven dwelt in the boughs thereof, and all flesh was fed of it.
4:13 내가 침상에서 뇌 속으로 받은 이상 가운데 또 본즉 한 순찰자, 한 거룩한
자가 하늘에서 내려왔는데
4:13 In the visions of my head on my bed I saw a watcher, a holy one, coming down from
heaven,
4:13 I saw in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, behold, a watcher
and an holy one came down from heaven;
4:14 그가 소리 질러 외쳐서 이처럼 이르기를 그 나무를 베고 그 가지를 찍고
그 잎사귀를 떨고 그 열매를 헤치고 짐승들로 그 아래서 떠나게 하고 새들을 그 가지에서
쫓아내라
4:14 Crying out with a loud voice; and this is what he said: Let the tree be cut down
and its branches broken off; let its leaves be taken off and its fruit sent in every
direction: let the beasts get away from under it and the birds from its branches:
4:14 He cried aloud, and said thus, Hew down the tree, and cut off his branches,
shake off his leaves, and scatter his fruit: let the beasts get away from under
it, and the fowls from his branches:
4:15 그러나 그 뿌리의 그루터기를 땅에 남겨 두고 철과 놋줄로 동이고 그것으로
들 청초 가운데 있게 하라 그것이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 땅의 풀 가운데서 짐승으로 더불어
그 분량을 같이 하리라
4:15 But keep its broken end and its roots still in the earth, even with a band of iron
and brass; let him have the young grass of the field for food, and let him be wet
with the dew of heaven, and let his part be with the beasts.
4:15 Nevertheless leave the stump of his roots in the earth, even with a
band of iron and brass, in the tender grass of the field; and let it be wet
with the dew of heaven, and let his portion be with the beasts in the grass
of the earth:
4:16 또 그 마음은 변하여 인생의 마음 같지 아니하고 짐승의 마음을 받아 일곱
때를 지나리라
4:16 Let his heart be changed from that of a man, and the heart of a beast be given to
him; and let seven times go by him.
4:16 Let his heart be changed from man's, and let a beast's heart be given
unto him; and let seven times pass over him.
4:17 이는 순찰자들의 명령대로요 거룩한 자들의 말대로니 곧 인생으로 지극히
높으신 자가 인간 나라를 다스리시며 자기의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시며
또 지극히 천한 자로 그 위에 세우시는 줄을 알게 하려 함이니라 하였느니라
4:17 This order is fixed by the watchers, and the decision is by the word of the holy
ones: so that the living may be certain that the Most High is ruler over the kingdom
of men, and gives it to any man at his pleasure, lifting up over it the lowest of
men.
4:17 This matter is by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the
word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most
High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever he will, and sets
up over it the base of men.
4:18 나 느부갓네살 왕이 이 꿈을 꾸었나니 너 벨드사살아 그 해석을 밝히 말하라
내 나라 모든 박사가 능히 그 해석을 내게 알게 하지 못하였으나 오직 너는 능히
하리니 이는 거룩한 신들의 영이 네 안에 있음이니라
4:18 This dream I, King Nebuchadnezzar, saw; and do you, O Belteshazzar, make clear the
sense of it, for all the wise men of my kingdom are unable to make the sense of
it clear to me; but you are able, for the spirit of the holy gods is in you.
4:18 This dream I king Nebuchadnezzar have seen. Now you, O Belteshazzar,
declare the interpretation thereof, forasmuch as all the wise men of my kingdom
are not able to make known unto me the interpretation: but you are able; for
the spirit of the holy gods is in you.
4:19 ○ 벨드사살이라 이름한 다니엘이 얼마 동안 놀라 벙벙하며 마음이 번민하여
하는지라 왕이 그에게 말하여 이르기를 벨드사살아 너는 이 꿈과 그 해석을 인하여
번민할 것이 아니니라 벨드사살이 대답하여 가로되 내 주여 그 꿈은 왕을 미워하는
자에게 응하기를 원하며 그 해석은 왕의 대적에게 응하기를 원하나이다
4:19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was at a loss for a time, his thoughts
troubling him. The king made answer and said, Belteshazzar, do not be troubled by
the dream or by the sense of it. Belteshazzar, answering, said, My lord, may the
dream be about your haters, and its sense about those who are against you.
4:19 Then Daniel, whose name was Belteshazzar, was astonished for one hour,
and his thoughts troubled him. The king spoke, and said, Belteshazzar, let not
the dream, or the interpretation thereof, trouble you. Belteshazzar answered
and said, My lord, the dream be to them that hate you, and the interpretation
thereof to yours enemies.
4:20 왕의 보신 그 나무가 자라서 견고하여지고 그 고는 하늘에 닿았으니 땅 끝에서도
보이겠고
4:20 The tree which you saw, which became tall and strong, stretching up to heaven and
seen from the ends of the earth;
4:20 The tree that you saw, which grew, and was strong, whose height reached
unto the heaven, and the sight thereof to all the earth;
4:21 그 잎사귀는 아름답고 그 열매는 많아서 만민의 식물이 될만하고 들짐승은
그 아래 거하며 공중에 나는 새는 그 가지에 깃들이더라 하시오니
4:21 Which had fair leaves and much fruit, and had in it food for all; under which the
beasts of the field were living, and in the branches of which the birds of heaven
had their resting-places:
4:21 Whose leaves were fair, and the fruit thereof much, and in it was food
for all; under which the beasts of the field dwelt, and upon whose branches
the fowls of the heaven had their habitation:
4:22 왕이여 이 나무는 곧 왕이시라 이는 왕이 자라서 견고하여지고 창대하사
하늘에 닿으시며 권세는 땅 끝까지 미치심이니이다
4:22 It is you, O King, who have become great and strong: for your power is increased
and stretching up to heaven, and your rule to the end of the earth.
4:22 It is you, O king, that are grown and become strong: for your greatness
is grown, and reachs unto heaven, and your dominion to the end of the earth.
4:23 왕이 보신즉 한 순찰자, 한 거룩한 자가 하늘에서 내려와서 이르기를 그
나무를 베고 멸하라 그러나 그 뿌리의 그루터기는 땅에 남겨 두고 철과 놋줄로 동이고
그것을 들 청초 가운데 있게 하라 그것이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 또 들짐승으로 더불어
그 분량을 같이 하며 일곱 때를 지내리라 하더라 하시오니
4:23 And as for the vision which the king saw of a watcher, a holy one, coming down from
heaven, saying, Let the tree be cut down and given to destruction;
4:23 And whereas the king saw a watcher and an holy one coming down from
heaven, and saying, Hew the tree down, and destroy it; yet leave the stump of
the roots thereof in the earth, even with a band of iron and brass, in the tender
grass of the field; and let it be wet with the dew of heaven, and let his portion
be with the beasts of the field, till seven times pass over him;
4:24 왕이여 그 해석은 이러하니이다 곧 지극히 높으신 자의 명정하신 것이 내
주 왕에게 미칠 것이라
4:24 This is the sense of it, O King, and it is the decision of the Most High which has
come on my lord the king:
4:24 This is the interpretation, O king, and this is the decree of the most
High, which has come upon my lord the king:
4:25 왕이 사람에게서 쫓겨나서 들짐승과 함께 거하며 소처럼 풀을 먹으며 하늘
이슬에 젖을 것이요 이와 같이 일곱 때를 지낼 것이라 그 때에 지극히 높으신 자가
인간 나라를 다스리시며 자기의 뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄을 아시리이다
4:25 That they will send you out from among men, to be with the beasts of the field;
they will give you grass for your food like the oxen, and you will be wet with the
dew of heaven, and seven times will go by you, till you are certain that the Most
High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and gives it to any man at his pleasure.
4:25 That they shall drive you from men, and your dwelling shall be with
the beasts of the field, and they shall make you to eat grass as oxen, and they
shall wet you with the dew of heaven, and seven times shall pass over you, till
you know that the most High rules in the kingdom of men, and gives it to whomsoever
he will.
4:26 또 그들이 그 나무 뿌리의 그루터기를 남겨 두라 하였은즉 하나님이 다스리시는
줄을 왕이 깨달은 후에야 왕의 나라가 견고하리이다
4:26 And as they gave orders to let the broken end and the roots of the tree be, so your
kingdom will be safe for you after it is clear to you that the heavens are ruling.
4:26 And whereas they commanded to leave the stump of the tree roots; your
kingdom shall be sure unto you, after that you shall have known that the heavens
do rule.
4:27 그런즉 왕이여 나의 간하는 것을 받으시고 공의를 행함으로 죄를 속하고
가난한 자를 긍휼히 여김으로 죄악을 속하소서 그리하시면 왕의 평안함이 혹시 장구하리이다
하였느니라
4:27 For this cause, O King, let my suggestion be pleasing to you, and let your sins
be covered by righteousness and your evil-doing by mercy to the poor, so that the
time of your well-being may be longer.
4:27 Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto you, and break
off your sins by righteousness, and yours iniquities by showing mercy to the
poor; if it may be a lengthening of your tranquillity.
4:28 ○ 이 모든 일이 다 나 느부갓네살 왕에게 임하였느니라
4:28 All this came to King Nebuchadnezzar.
4:28 All this came upon the king Nebuchadnezzar.
4:29 열 두 달이 지난 후에 내가 바벨론 궁 지붕에서 거닐새
4:29 At the end of twelve months he was walking on the roof of his great house in Babylon.
4:29 At the end of twelve months he walked in the palace of the kingdom of
Babylon.
4:30 나 왕이 말하여 가로되 이 큰 바벨론은 내가 능력과 권세로 건설하여 나의
도성을 삼고 이것으로 내 위엄의 영광을 나타낸 것이 아니냐 하였더니
4:30 The king made answer and said, Is this not great Babylon, which I have made for
the living-place of kings, by the strength of my power and for the glory of my honour?
4:30 The king spoke, and said, Is not this great Babylon, that I have built
for the house of the kingdom by the might of my power, and for the honour of
my majesty?
4:31 이 말이 오히려 나 왕의 입에 있을 때에 하늘에서 소리가 내려 가로되 느부갓네살
왕아 네게 말하노니 나라의 위가 네게서 떠났느니라
4:31 While the word was still in the king's mouth, a voice came down from heaven, saying,
O King Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is said: The kingdom has gone from you:
4:31 While the word was in the king's mouth, there fell a voice from heaven,
saying, O king Nebuchadnezzar, to you it is spoken; The kingdom is departed
from you.
4:32 네가 사람에게서 쫓겨나서 들짐승과 함께 거하며 소처럼 풀을 먹을 것이요
이와 같이 일곱 때를 지내서 지극히 높으신 자가 인간 나라를 다스리시며 자기의
뜻대로 그것을 누구에게든지 주시는 줄을 알기까지 이르리라 하더니
4:32 And they will send you out from among men, to be with the beasts of the field; they
will give you grass for your food like the oxen, and seven times will go by you,
till you are certain that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and gives
it to any man at his pleasure.

소처럼 풀을 먹으며 몸이 하늘 이슬에 젖고 머리털이 독수리 털과 같았고 손톱은
새 발톱과 같았었느니라
4:33 That very hour the order about Nebuchadnezzar was put into effect: and he was sent
out from among men, and had grass for his food like the oxen, and his body was wet
with the dew of heaven, till his hair became long as eagles' feathers and his nails
like those of birds.
4:33 The same hour was the thing fulfilled upon Nebuchadnezzar: and he was
driven from men, and did eat grass as oxen, and his body was wet with the dew
of heaven, till his hairs were grown like eagles' feathers, and his nails like
birds' claws.
4:34 ○ 그 기한이 차매 나 느부갓네살이 하늘을 우러러 보았더니 내 총명이 다시
내게로 돌아온지라 이에 내가 지극히 높으신 자에게 감사하며 영생하시는 자를 찬양하고
존경하였노니 그 권세는 영원한 권세요 그 나라는 대대로 이르리로다
4:34 And at the end of the days, I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifting up my eyes to heaven, got
back my reason, and, blessing the Most High, I gave praise and honour to him who
is living for ever, whose rule is an eternal rule and whose kingdom goes on from
generation to generation.
4:34 And at the end of the days I Nebuchadnezzar lifted up mine eyes unto
heaven, and mine understanding returned unto me, and I blessed the most High,
and I praised and honoured him that lives for ever, whose dominion is an everlasting
dominion, and his kingdom is from generation to generation:
4:35 땅의 모든 거민을 없는 것 같이 여기시며 하늘의 군사에게든지, 땅의 거민에게든지
그는 자기 뜻대로 행하시나니 누가 그의 손을 금하든지 혹시 이르기를 네가 무엇을
하느냐 할 자가 없도다
4:35 And all the people of the earth are as nothing: he does his pleasure in the army
of heaven and among the people of the earth: and no one is able to keep back his
hand, or say to him, What are you doing?
4:35 And all the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing: and he
does according to his will in the army of heaven, and among the inhabitants
of the earth: and none can stay his hand, or say unto him, What do you?
4:36 그 동시에 내 총명이 내게로 돌아왔고 또 나라 영광에 대하여도 내 위엄과
광명이 내게로 돌아왔고 또 나의 모사들과 관원들이 내게 조회하니 내가 내 나라에서
다시 세움을 입고 또 지극한 위세가 내게 더하였느니라
4:36 At the same time my reason came back to me; and for the glory of my kingdom, my
honour and my great name came back to me; and my wise men and my lords were turned
to me again; and I was made safe in my kingdom and had more power than before.
4:36 At the same time my reason returned unto me; and for the glory of my
kingdom, mine honour and brightness returned unto me; and my counsellors and
my lords sought unto me; and I was established in my kingdom, and excellent
majesty was added unto me.
4:37 그러므로 지금 나 느부갓네살이 하늘의 왕을 찬양하며 칭송하며 존경하노니
그의 일이 다 진실하고 그의 행하심이 의로우시므로 무릇 교만하게 행하는 자를 그가
능히 낮추심이니라
4:37 Now I, Nebuchadnezzar, give worship and praise and honour to the King of heaven;
for all his works are true and his ways are right: and those who go in pride he
is able to make low.
4:37 Now I Nebuchadnezzar praise and extol and honour the King of heaven,
all whose works are truth, and his ways judgment: and those that walk in pride
he is able to bring low.
5:1 벨사살 왕이 그 귀인 일천 명을 위하여 큰 잔치를 배설하고 그 일천 명 앞에서
술을 마시니라
5:1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast for a thousand of his lords, drinking wine
before the thousand.
5:1 Belshazzar the king made a great feast to a thousand of his lords, and
drank wine before the thousand.
5:2 벨사살이 술을 마실 때에 명하여 그 부친 느부갓네살이 예루살렘 전에서 취하여
온 금, 은 기명을 가져오게 하였으니 이는 왕과 귀인들과 왕후들과 빈궁들이 다 그것으로
마시려 함이었더라
5:2 Belshazzar, while he was overcome with wine, gave orders for them to put before
him the gold and silver vessels which Nebuchadnezzar, his father, had taken from
the Temple in Jerusalem; so that the king and his lords, his wives and his other
women, might take their drink from them.
5:2 Belshazzar, while he tasted the wine, commanded to bring the golden and
silver vessels which his father Nebuchadnezzar had taken out of the temple which
was in Jerusalem; that the king, and his princes, his wives, and his concubines,
might drink therein.
5:3 이에 예루살렘 하나님의 전 성소 중에서 취하여 온 금 기명을 가져오매 왕이
그 귀인들과 왕후들과 빈궁들로 더불어 그것으로 마시고
5:3 Then they took in the gold and silver vessels which had been in the Temple of the
house of God at Jerusalem; and the king and his lords, his wives and his other women,
took wine from them.
5:3 Then they brought the golden vessels that were taken out of the temple
of the house of God which was at Jerusalem; and the king, and his princes, his
wives, and his concubines, drank in them.
5:4 무리가 술을 마시고는 그 금, 은, 동, 철, 목, 석으로 만든 신들을 찬양하니라
5:4 They took their wine and gave praise to the gods of gold and silver, of brass and
iron and wood and stone.
5:4 They drank wine, and praised the gods of gold, and of silver, of brass,
of iron, of wood, and of stone.
5:5 ○ 그 때에 사람의 손가락이 나타나서 왕궁 촛대 맞은편 분벽에 글자를 쓰는데
왕이 그 글자 쓰는 손가락을 본지라
5:5 In that very hour the fingers of a man's hand were seen, writing opposite the support
for the light on the white wall of the king's house, and the king saw the part of
the hand which was writing.
5:5 In the same hour came forth fingers of a man's hand, and wrote opposite
to the candlestick upon the plaister of the wall of the king's palace: and the
king saw the part of the hand that wrote.
5:6 이에 왕의 즐기던 빛이 변하고 그 생각이 번민하여 넓적다리 마디가 녹는
듯하고 그 무릎이 서로 부딪힌지라
5:6 Then the colour went from the king's face, and he was troubled by his thoughts;
strength went from his body, and his knees were shaking.
5:6 Then the king's countenance was changed, and his thoughts troubled him,
so that the joints of his loins were loosed, and his knees stroke one against
another.
5:7 왕이 크게 소리하여 술객과 갈대아 술사와 점장이를 불러오게 하고 바벨론
박사들에게 일러 가로되 무론 누구든지 이 글자를 읽고 그 해석을 내게 보이면 자주
옷을
입히고 금 사슬로 그 목에 드리우고 그로 나라의 세째 치리자를 삼으리라 하니라
5:7 The king, crying out with a loud voice, said that the users of secret arts, the
Chaldaeans, and the readers of signs, were to be sent for. The king made answer
and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whoever is able to make out this writing, and
make clear to me the sense of it, will be clothed in purple and have a chain of
gold round his neck, and will be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.
5:7 The king cried aloud to bring in the astrologers, the Chaldeans, and
the soothsayers. And the king spoke, and said to the wise men of Babylon, Whosoever
shall read this writing, and show me the interpretation thereof, shall be clothed
with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about his neck, and shall be the third
ruler in the kingdom.
5:8 때에 왕의 박사가 다 들어왔으나 능히 그 글자를 읽지 못하여 그 해석을 왕께
알게 하지 못하는지라
5:8 Then all the king's wise men came in: but they were not able to make out the writing
or give the sense of it to the king.
5:8 Then came in all the king's wise men: but they could not read the writing,
nor make known to the king the interpretation thereof.
5:9 그러므로 벨사살 왕이 크게 번민하여 그 낯빛이 변하였고 귀인들도 다 놀라니라
5:9 Then King Belshazzar was greatly troubled and the colour went from his face, and
his lords were at a loss.
5:9 Then was king Belshazzar greatly troubled, and his countenance was changed
in him, and his lords were astonished.
5:10 ○ 태후가 왕과 그 귀인들의 말로 인하여 잔치하는 궁에 들어왔더니 이에
말하여 가로되 왕이여 만세수를 하옵소서 왕의 생각을 번민케 말며 낯빛을 변할 것이
아니니이다
5:10 The queen, because of the words of the king and his lords, came into the house of
the feast: the queen made answer and said, O King, have life for ever; do not be
troubled by your thoughts or let the colour go from your face:
5:10 Now the queen by reason of the words of the king and his lords came
into the banquet house: and the queen spoke and said, O king, live for ever:
let not your thoughts trouble you, nor let your countenance be changed:
5:11 왕의 나라에 거룩한 신들의 영이 있는 사람이 있으니 곧 왕의 부친 때에
있던 자로서 명철과 총명과 지혜가 있어 신들의 지혜와 같은 자라 왕의 부친 느부갓네살
왕이 그를 세워 박수와 술객과 갈대아 술사와 점장이의 어른을 삼으셨으니
5:11 There is a man in your kingdom in whom is the spirit of the holy gods; and in the
days of your father, light and reason like the wisdom of the gods were seen in him:
and King Nebuchadnezzar, your father, made him master of the wonder-workers, and
the users of secret arts, and the Chaldaeans, and the readers of signs;
5:11 There is a man in your kingdom, in whom is the spirit of the holy gods;
and in the days of your father light and understanding and wisdom, like the
wisdom of the gods, was found in him; whom the king Nebuchadnezzar your father,
the king, I say, your father, made master of the magicians, astrologers, Chaldeans,
and soothsayers;
5:12 왕이 벨드사살이라 이름한 이 다니엘의 마음이 민첩하고 지식과 총명이 있어
능히 꿈을 해석하며 은밀한 말을 밝히며 의문을 파할 수 있었음이라 이제 다니엘을
부르소서 그리하시면 그가 그 해석을 알려드리리이다
5:12 Because a most special spirit, and knowledge and reason and the power of reading
dreams and unfolding dark sayings and answering hard questions, were seen to be
in him, even in Daniel (named Belteshazzar by the king): now let Daniel be sent
for, and he will make clear the sense of the writing.
5:12 Forasmuch as an excellent spirit, and knowledge, and understanding,
interpreting of dreams, and showing of hard sentences, and dissolving of doubts,
were found in the same Daniel, whom the king named Belteshazzar: now let Daniel
be called, and he will show the interpretation.
5:13 ○ 이에 다니엘이 부름을 입어 왕의 앞에 나오매 왕이 다니엘에게 말하여
가로되 네가 우리 부왕이 유다에서 사로잡아 온 유다 자손 중의 그 다니엘이냐
5:13 Then they took Daniel in before the king; the king made answer and said to Daniel,
So you are that Daniel, of the prisoners of Judah, whom my father took out of Judah.
5:13 Then was Daniel brought in before the king. And the king spoke and said
unto Daniel, Are you that Daniel, which are of the children of the captivity
of Judah, whom the king my father brought out of Jewry?
5:14 내가 네게 대하여 들은즉 네 안에는 신들의 영이 있으므로 네가 명철과 총명과
비상한 지혜가 있다 하도다
5:14 And I have had news of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and that light
and reason and special wisdom have been seen in you.
5:14 I have even heard of you, that the spirit of the gods is in you, and
that light and understanding and excellent wisdom is found in you.
5:15 지금 여러 박사와 술객을 내 앞에 불러다가 그들로 이 글을 읽고 그 해석을
내게 알게 하라 하였으나 그들이 다 능히 그 해석을 내게 보이지 못하였느니라
5:15 And now the wise men, the users of secret arts, have been sent in before me for
the purpose of reading this writing and making clear to me the sense of it: but
they are not able to make clear the sense of the thing:
5:15 And now the wise men, the astrologers, have been brought in before me,
that they should read this writing, and make known unto me the interpretation
thereof: but they could not show the interpretation of the thing:
5:16 내가 네게 대하여 들은즉 너는 해석을 잘하고 의문을 파한다 하도다 그런즉
이제 네가 이 글을 읽고 그 해석을 내게 알게 하면 네게 자주 옷을 입히고 금 사슬을
네 목에 드리우고 너로 나라의 세째 치리자를 삼으리라
5:16 And I have had news of you, that you have the power of making things clear, and
of answering hard questions: now if you are able to make out the writing and give
me the sense of it, you will be clothed in purple and have a gold chain round your
neck and be a ruler of high authority in the kingdom.
5:16 And I have heard of you, that you can make interpretations, and dissolve
doubts: now if you can read the writing, and make known to me the interpretation
thereof, you shall be clothed with scarlet, and have a chain of gold about your
neck, and shall be the third ruler in the kingdom.
5:17 ○ 다니엘이 왕에게 대답하여 가로되 왕의 예물은 왕이 스스로 취하시며
왕의 상급은 다른 사람에게 주옵소서 그럴지라도 내가 왕을 위하여 이 글을 읽으며
그 해석을 아시게 하리이다
5:17 Then Daniel made answer and said to the king, Keep your offerings for yourself,
and give your rewards to another; but I, after reading the writing to the king,
will give him the sense of it.
5:17 Then Daniel answered and said before the king, Let your gifts be to
yourself, and give your rewards to another; yet I will read the writing unto
the king, and make known to him the interpretation.
5:18 왕이여 지극히 높으신 하나님이 왕의 부친 느부갓네살에게 나라와 큰 권세와
영광과 위엄을 주셨고
5:18 As for you, O King, the Most High God gave to Nebuchadnezzar, your father, the kingdom
and great power and glory and honour:
5:18 O you king, the most high God gave Nebuchadnezzar your father a kingdom,
and majesty, and glory, and honour:
5:19 그에게 큰 권세를 주셨으므로 백성들과 나라들과 각 방언하는 자들이 그의
앞에서 떨며 두려워하였으며 그는 임의로 죽이며 임의로 살리며 임의로 높이며 임의로
낮추었더니
5:19 And because of the great power he gave him, all peoples and nations and languages
were shaking in fear before him: some he put to death and others he kept living,
at his pleasure, lifting up some and putting others down as it pleased him.
5:19 And for the majesty that he gave him, all people, nations, and languages,
trembled and feared before him: whom he would he slew; and whom he would he
kept alive; and whom he would he set up; and whom he would he put down.
5:20 그가 마음이 높아지며 뜻이 강퍅하여 교만을 행하므로 그 왕위가 폐한 바
되며 그 영광을 빼앗기고
5:20 But when his heart was lifted up and his spirit became hard with pride, he was put
down from his place as king, and they took his glory from him:
5:20 But when his heart was lifted up, and his mind hardened in pride, he
was deposed from his kingly throne, and they took his glory from him:
5:21 인생 중에서 쫓겨나서 그 마음이 들짐승의 마음과 같았고 또 들나귀와 함께
거하며 또 소처럼 풀을 먹으며 그 몸이 하늘 이슬에 젖었으며 지극히 높으신 하나님이
인간 나라를 다스리시며 자기의 뜻대로 누구든지 그 위에 세우시는 줄을 알기까지
이르게 되었었나이다
5:21 And he was sent out from among the sons of men; and his heart was made like the
beasts', and he was living with the asses of the fields; he had grass for his food
like the oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven, till he was certain
that the Most High is ruler in the kingdom of men, and gives power over it to anyone
at his pleasure.
5:21 And he was driven from the sons of men; and his heart was made like
the beasts, and his dwelling was with the wild asses: they fed him with grass
like oxen, and his body was wet with the dew of heaven; till he knew that the
most high God ruled in the kingdom of men, and that he appoints over it whomsoever
he will.
5:22 벨사살이여 왕은 그의 아들이 되어서 이것을 다 알고도 오히려 마음을 낮추지
아니하고
5:22 And you, his son, O Belshazzar, have not kept your heart free from pride, though
you had knowledge of all this;
5:22 And you his son, O Belshazzar, have not humbled yours heart, though
you knew all this;
5:23 도리어 스스로 높여서 하늘의 주재를 거역하고 그 전 기명을 왕의 앞으로
가져다가 왕과 귀인들과 왕후들과 빈궁들이 다 그것으로 술을 마시고 왕이 또 보지도
듣지도 알지도 못하는 금, 은, 동, 철과 목, 석으로 만든 신상들을 찬양하고 도리어
왕의 호흡을 주장하시고 왕의 모든 길을 작정하시는 하나님께는 영광을 돌리지 아니한지라
5:23 But you have been lifting yourself up against the Lord of heaven, and they have
put the vessels of his house before you, and you and your lords, your wives and
your women, have taken wine in them; and you have given praise to gods of silver
and gold, of brass and iron and wood and stone, who are without the power of seeing
or hearing, and without knowledge: and to the God in whose hand your breath is,
and whose are all your ways, you have not given glory;
5:23 But have lifted up yourself against the Lord of heaven; and they have
brought the vessels of his house before you, and you, and your lords, your wives,
and your concubines, have drunk wine in them; and you have praised the gods
of silver, and gold, of brass, iron, wood, and stone, which see not, nor hear,
nor know: and the God in whose hand your breath is, and whose are all your ways,
have you not glorified:
5:24 이러므로 그의 앞에서 이 손가락이 나와서 이 글을 기록하였나이다
5:24 Then was the part of the hand sent from him; and this writing was written.
5:24 Then the part of the hand was sent out from before him, and this writing was recorded.
5:25 기록한 글자는 이것이니 곧 메네 메네 데겔 우바르신이라
5:25 And this is the writing which was recorded, Mene, tekel, peres.
5:25 And this is the writing that was written, MENE, MENE, TEKEL, UPHARSIN.
5:26 그 뜻을 해석하건대 메네는 하나님이 이미 왕의 나라의 시대를 세어서 그것을
끝나게 하셨다 함이요
5:26 This is the sense of the words: Mene; your kingdom has been numbered by God and
ended.
5:26 This is the interpretation of the thing: MENE; God has numbered your
kingdom, and finished it.
5:27 데겔은 왕이 저울에 달려서 부족함이 뵈었다 함이요
5:27 Tekel; you have been put in the scales and seen to be under weight.
5:27 TEKEL; You are weighed in the balances, and are found lacking.
5:28 베레스는 왕의 나라가 나뉘어서 메대와 바사 사람에게 준 바 되었다 함이니이다
5:28 Peres; your kingdom has been cut up and given to the Medes and Persians.
5:28 PERES; Your kingdom is divided, and given to the Medes and Persians.
5:29 ○ 이에 벨사살이 명하여 무리로 다니엘에게 자주 옷을 입히게 하며 금 사슬로
그의 목에 드리우게 하고 그를 위하여 조서를 내려 나라의 세째 치리자를 삼으니라
5:29 Then, by the order of Belshazzar, they put a purple robe on Daniel, and a gold chain
round his neck, and a public statement was made that he was to be a ruler of high
authority in the kingdom.
5:29 Then commanded Belshazzar, and they clothed Daniel with scarlet, and
put a chain of gold about his neck, and made a proclamation concerning him,
that he should be the third ruler in the kingdom.
5:30 ○ 그 날 밤에 갈대아 왕 벨사살이 죽임을 당하였고
5:30 That very night Belshazzar, the king of the Chaldaeans, was put to death.
5:30 In that night was Belshazzar the king of the Chaldeans slain.
5:31 메대 사람 다리오가 나라를 얻었는데 때에 다리오는 육십 이 세였더라
5:31 And Darius the Mede took the kingdom, being then about sixty-two years old.
5:31 And Darius the Median took the kingdom, being about threescore and two
years old.
6:1 다리오가 자기의 심원대로 방백 일백 이십 명을 세워 전국을 통치하게 하고
6:1 Darius was pleased to put over the kingdom a hundred and twenty captains, who were
to be all through the kingdom;
6:1 It pleased Darius to set over the kingdom an hundred and twenty princes,
which should be over the whole kingdom;
6:2 또 그들 위에 총리 셋을 두었으니 다니엘이 그 중에 하나이라 이는 방백들로
총리에게 자기의 직무를 보고하게 하여 왕에게 손해가 없게 하려 함이었더라
6:2 And over them were three chief rulers, of whom Daniel was one; and the captains
were to be responsible to the chief rulers, so that the king might undergo no loss.
6:2 And over these three presidents; of whom Daniel was first: that the princes
might give accounts unto them, and the king should have no damage.
6:3 다니엘은 마음이 민첩하여 총리들과 방백들 위에 뛰어나므로 왕이 그를 세워
전국을 다스리게 하고자 한지라
6:3 Then this Daniel did his work better than the chief rulers and the captains, because
there was a special spirit in him; and it was the king's purpose to put him over
all the kingdom.
6:3 Then this Daniel was preferred above the presidents and princes, because
an excellent spirit was in him; and the king thought to set him over the whole
realm.
6:4 이에 총리들과 방백들이 국사에 대하여 다니엘을 고소할 틈을 얻고자 하였으나
능히 아무 틈, 아무 허물을 얻지 못하였으니 이는 그가 충성되어 아무 그릇함도 없고
아무 허물도 없음이었더라
6:4 Then the chief rulers and the captains were looking for some cause for putting Daniel
in the wrong in connection with the kingdom, but they were unable to put forward
any wrongdoing or error against him; because he was true, and no error or wrong
was to be seen in him.
6:4 Then the presidents and princes sought to find occasion against Daniel
concerning the kingdom; but they could find none occasion nor fault; forasmuch
as he was faithful, neither was there any error or fault found in him.
6:5 그 사람들이 가로되 이 다니엘은 그 하나님의 율법에 대하여 그 틈을 얻지
못하면 그를 고소할 수 없으리라 하고
6:5 Then these men said, We will only get a reason for attacking Daniel in connection
with the law of his God.
6:5 Then said these men, We shall not find any occasion against this Daniel,
except we find it against him concerning the law of his God.
6:6 이에 총리들과 방백들이 모여 왕에게 나아가서 그에게 말하되 다리오 왕이여
만세수를 하옵소서
6:6 Then these chief rulers and the captains came to the king and said to him, O King
Darius, have life for ever.
6:6 Then these presidents and princes assembled together to the king, and
said thus unto him, King Darius, live for ever.
6:7 나라의 모든 총리와 수령과 방백과 모사와 관원이 의논하고 왕에게 한 율법을
세우며 한 금령을 정하실 것을 구하려 하였는데 왕이여 그것은 곧 이제부터 삼십
일 동안에 누구든지 왕 외에 어느 신에게나 사람에게 무엇을 구하면 사자 굴에 던져
넣기로 한 것이니이다
6:7 All the chief rulers of the kingdom, the chiefs and the captains, the wise men and
the rulers, have made a common decision to put in force a law having the king's
authority, and to give a strong order, that whoever makes any request to any god
or man but you, O King, for thirty days, is to be put into the lions' hole.
6:7 All the presidents of the kingdom, the governors, and the princes, the
counsellors, and the captains, have consulted together to establish a royal
statute, and to make a firm decree, that whosoever shall ask a petition of any
God or man for thirty days, save of you, O king, he shall be cast into the den
of lions.
6:8 그런즉 원컨대 금령을 세우시고 그 조서에 어인을 찍어서 메대와 바사의 변개치
아니하는 규례를 따라 그것을 다시 고치지 못하게 하옵소서 하매
6:8 Now, O King, put the order in force, signing the writing so that it may not be changed,
like the law of the Medes and Persians which may not come to an end.
6:8 Now, O king, establish the decree, and sign the writing, that it be not
changed, according to the law of the Medes and Persians, which alters not.
6:9 이에 다리오 왕이 조서에 어인을 찍어 금령을 내니라
6:9 For this reason King Darius put his name on the writing and the order.
6:9 Wherefore king Darius signed the writing and the decree.
6:10 ○ 다니엘이 이 조서에 어인이 찍힌 것을 알고도 자기 집에 돌아가서는 그
방의 예루살렘으로 향하여 열린 창에서 전에 행하던 대로 하루 세 번씩 무릎을 꿇고
기도하며 그 하나님께 감사하였더라
6:10 And Daniel, on hearing that the writing had been signed, went into his house; (now
he had windows in his room on the roof opening in the direction of Jerusalem;) and
three times a day he went down on his knees in prayer and praise before his God,
as he had done before.
6:10 Now when Daniel knew that the writing was signed, he went into his house;
and his windows being open in his chamber toward Jerusalem, he kneeled upon
his knees three times a day, and prayed, and gave thanks before his God, as
he did in old times.
6:11 그 무리들이 모여서 다니엘이 자기 하나님 앞에 기도하며 간구하는 것을
발견하고
6:11 Then these men were watching and saw Daniel making prayers and requesting grace
before his God.
6:11 Then these men assembled, and found Daniel praying and making supplication
before his God.
6:12 이에 그들이 나아가서 왕의 금령에 대하여 왕께 아뢰되 왕이여 왕이 이미
금령에 어인을 찍어서 이제부터 삼십 일 동안에 누구든지 왕 외에 어느 신에게나 사람에게
구하면 사자 굴에 던져 넣기로 하지 아니하였나이까 왕이 대답하여 가로되 이 일이
적실하니 메대와 바사의 변개치 아니하는 규례대로 된 것이니라
6:12 Then they came near before the king and said, O King, have you not put your name
to an order that any man who makes a request to any god or man but you, O King,
for thirty days, is to be put into the lions' hole? The king made answer and said,
The thing is fixed by the law of the Medes and Persians which may not come to an
end.
6:12 Then they came near, and spoke before the king concerning the king's
decree; Have you not signed a decree, that every man that shall ask a petition
of any God or man within thirty days, save of you, O king, shall be cast into
the den of lions? The king answered and said, The thing is true, according to
the law of the Medes and Persians, which alters not.
6:13 그들이 왕 앞에서 대답하여 가로되 왕이여 사로잡혀 온 유다 자손 중에 그
다니엘이 왕과 왕의 어인이 찍힌 금령을 돌아보지 아니하고 하루 세 번씩 기도하나이다
6:13 Then they made answer and said before the king, Daniel, one of the prisoners of
Judah, has no respect for you, O King, or for the order signed by you, but three
times a day he makes his prayer to God.
6:13 Then answered they and said before the king, That Daniel, which is of
the children of the captivity of Judah, regards not you, O king, nor the decree
that you have signed, but makes his petition three times a day.
6:14 왕이 이 말을 듣고 그로 인하여 심히 근심하여 다니엘을 구원하려고 마음을
쓰며 그를 건져 내려고 힘을 다하여 해가 질 때까지 이르매
6:14 When this thing came to the king's ears, it was very evil to him, and his heart
was fixed on keeping Daniel safe, and till the going down of the sun he was doing
everything in his power to get him free.
6:14 Then the king, when he heard these words, was sore displeased with himself,
and set his heart on Daniel to deliver him: and he laboured till the going down
of the sun to deliver him.
6:15 그 무리들이 또 모여 왕에게로 나아와서 왕께 말씀하되 왕이여 메대와 바사의
규례를 아시거니와 왕의 세우신 금령과 법도는 변개하지 못할 것이니이다
6:15 Then these men said to the king, Be certain, O King, that by the law of the Medes
and Persians no order or law which the king has put into force may be changed.
6:15 Then these men assembled unto the king, and said unto the king, Know,
O king, that the law of the Medes and Persians is, That no decree nor statute
which the king establishes may be changed.
6:16 ○ 이에 왕이 명하매 다니엘을 끌어다가 사자 굴에 던져 넣는지라 왕이 다니엘에게
일러 가로되 너의 항상 섬기는 네 하나님이 너를 구원하시리라 하니라
6:16 Then the king gave the order, and they took Daniel and put him into the lions' hole.
The king made answer and said to Daniel, Your God, whose servant you are at all
times, will keep you safe.
6:16 Then the king commanded, and they brought Daniel, and cast him into
the den of lions. Now the king spoke and said unto Daniel, Your God whom you
serve continually, he will deliver you.
6:17 이에 돌을 굴려다가 굴 아구를 막으매 왕이 어인과 귀인들의 인을 쳐서 봉하였으니
이는 다니엘 처치한 것을 변개함이 없게 하려 함이었더라
6:17 Then they got a stone and put it over the mouth of the hole, and it was stamped
with the king's stamp and with the stamp of the lords, so that the decision about
Daniel might not be changed.
6:17 And a stone was brought, and laid upon the mouth of the den; and the
king sealed it with his own signet, and with the signet of his lords; that the
purpose might not be changed concerning Daniel.
6:18 왕이 궁에 돌아가서는 밤이 맞도록 금식하고 그 앞에 기악을 그치고 침수를
폐하니라
6:18 Then the king went to his great house, and took no food that night, and no ... were
placed before him, and his sleep went from him.
6:18 Then the king went to his palace, and passed the night fasting: neither
were instruments of music brought before him: and his sleep went from him.
6:19 ○ 이튿날에 왕이 새벽에 일어나 급히 사자 굴로 가서
6:19 Then very early in the morning the king got up and went quickly to the lions' hole.
6:19 Then the king arose very early in the morning, and went in haste unto
the den of lions.
6:20 다니엘의 든 굴에 가까이 이르러는 슬피 소리 질러 다니엘에게 물어 가로되
사시는 하나님의 종 다니엘아 너의 항상 섬기는 네 하나님이 사자에게서 너를 구원하시기에
능하셨느냐
6:20 And when he came near the hole where Daniel was, he gave a loud cry of grief; the
king made answer and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God, is your
God, whose servant you are at all times, able to keep you safe from the lions?
6:20 And when he came to the den, he cried with a lamentable voice unto Daniel:
and the king spoke and said to Daniel, O Daniel, servant of the living God,
is your God, whom you serve continually, able to deliver you from the lions?
6:21 다니엘이 왕에게 고하되 왕이여 원컨대 왕은 만세수를 하옵소서
6:21 Then Daniel said to the king, O King, have life for ever.
6:21 Then said Daniel unto the king, O king, live for ever.
6:22 나의 하나님이 이미 그 천사를 보내어 사자들의 입을 봉하셨으므로 사자들이
나를 상해치 아니하였사오니 이는 나의 무죄함이 그 앞에 명백함이오며 또 왕이여
나는 왕의 앞에도 해를 끼치지 아니하였나이다
6:22 My God has sent his angel to keep the lions' mouths shut, and they have done me
no damage: because I was seen to be without sin before him; and further, before
you, O King, I have done no wrong.
6:22 My God has sent his angel, and has shut the lions' mouths, that they
have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocence was found in me; and also
before you, O king, have I done no hurt.
6:23 왕이 심히 기뻐서 명하여 다니엘을 굴에서 올리라 하매 그들이 다니엘을
굴에서 올린즉 그 몸이 조금도 상하지 아니하였으니 이는 그가 자기 하나님을 의뢰함이었더라
6:23 Then the king was very glad, and gave orders for them to take Daniel up out of the
hole. So Daniel was taken up out of the hole and he was seen to be untouched, because
he had faith in his God.
6:23 Then was the king exceedingly glad for him, and commanded that they
should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den,
and no manner of hurt was found upon him, because he believed in his God.
6:24 ○ 왕이 명을 내려 다니엘을 참소한 사람들을 끌어오게 하고 그들을 그 처자들과
함께 사자 굴에 던져 넣게 하였더니 그들이 굴 밑에 닿기 전에 사자가 곧 그들을 움켜서
그 뼈까지도 부숴뜨렸더라
6:24 And at the king's order, they took those men who had said evil against Daniel, and
put them in the lions' hole, with their wives and their children; and they had not
got to the floor of the hole before the lions overcame them and all their bones
were broken.
6:24 And the king commanded, and they brought those men which had accused
Daniel, and they cast them into the den of lions, them, their children, and
their wives; and the lions had the mastery of them, and brake all their bones
in pieces before even they came at the bottom of the den.
6:25 ○ 이에 다리오 왕이 온 땅에 있는 모든 백성과 나라들과 각 방언하는 자들에게
조서를 내려 가로되 원컨대 많은 평강이 너희에게 있을지어다
6:25 Then King Darius sent a letter to all the peoples, nations, and languages, living
in all the earth: May your peace be increased.
6:25 Then king Darius wrote unto all people, nations, and languages, that
dwell in all the earth; Peace be multiplied unto you.
6:26 내가 이제 조서를 내리노라 내 나라 관할 아래 있는 사람들은 다 다니엘의
하나님 앞에서 떨며 두려워할지니 그는 사시는 하나님이시요 영원히 변치 않으실
자시며 그 나라는 망하지 아니할 것이요 그 권세는 무궁할 것이며
6:26 It is my order that in all the kingdom of which I am ruler, men are to be shaking
with fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, unchanging for ever,
and his kingdom is one which will never come to destruction, his rule will go on
to the end.
6:26 I make a decree, That in every dominion of my kingdom men tremble and
fear before the God of Daniel: for he is the living God, and steadfast for ever,
and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed, and his dominion shall be
even unto the end.
6:27 그는 구원도 하시며 건져내기도 하시며 하늘에서든지 땅에서든지 이적과
기사를 행하시는 자로서 다니엘을 구원하여 사자의 입에서 벗어나게 하셨음이니라
하였더라
6:27 He gives salvation and makes men free from danger, and does signs and wonders in
heaven and earth, who has kept Daniel safe from the power of the lions.
6:27 He delivers and rescues, and he works signs and wonders in heaven and
in earth, who has delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.
6:28 ○ 이 다니엘이 다리오 왕의 시대와 바사 사람 고레스 왕의 시대에 형통하였더라
6:28 So this Daniel did well in the kingdom of Darius and in the kingdom of Cyrus the
Persian.
6:28 So this Daniel prospered in the reign of Darius, and in the reign of
Cyrus the Persian.
