1:1 예수 그리스도의 계시라 이는 하나님이 그에게 주사 반드시 속히 될 일을
그 종들에게 보이시려고 그 천사를 그 종 요한에게 보내어 지시하신 것이라
1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ which God gave him so that his servants might have
knowledge of the things which will quickly take place: and he sent and made it clear
by his angel to his servant John;
1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave unto him, to show unto his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel unto his servant John:
1:2 요한은 하나님의 말씀과 예수 그리스도의 증거 곧 자기의 본 것을 다 증거하였느니라
1:2 Who gave witness of the word of God, and of the witness of Jesus Christ, even of
all the things which he saw.
1:2 Who bare record of the word (o. logos) of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all things that he saw.
1:3 이 예언의 말씀을 읽는 자와 듣는 자들과 그 가운데 기록한 것을 지키는 자들이
복이 있나니 때가 가까움이라
1:3 A blessing be on the reader, and on those who give ear to the prophet's words, and
keep the things which he has put in the book: for the time is near.
1:3 Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words (o. logos) of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.
1:4 ○ 요한은 아시아에 있는 일곱 교회에 편지하노니 이제도 계시고 전에도 계시고
장차 오실 이와 그 보좌 앞에 일곱 영과
1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace to you and peace, from him who
is and was and is to come; and from the seven Spirits which are before his high
seat;
1:4 John to the seven churches which are in Asia: Grace be unto you, and peace, from him which is, and which was, and which is to come; and from the seven Spirits (o. pneuma) which are before his throne;
1:5 또 충성된 증인으로 죽은 자들 가운데서 먼저 나시고 땅의 임금들의 머리가
되신 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 은혜와 평강이 너희에게 있기를 원하노라 우리를
사랑하사 그의 피로 우리 죄에서 우리를 해방하시고
1:5 And from Jesus Christ, the true witness, the first to come back from the dead, and
the ruler of the kings of the earth. To him who had love for us and has made us
clean from our sins by his blood;
1:5 And from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, and the First-Born of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,
1:6 그 아버지 하나님을 위하여 우리를 나라와 제사장으로 삼으신 그에게 영광과
능력이 세세토록 있기를 원하노라 아멘
1:6 And has made us to be a kingdom and priests to his God and Father; to him let glory
and power be given for ever and ever. So be it.
1:6 And has made us kings and priests unto God and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
1:7 볼지어다 구름을 타고 오시리라 각인의 눈이 그를 보겠고 그를 찌른 자들도
볼 터이요 땅에 있는 모든 족속이 그를 인하여 애곡하리니 그러하리라 아멘
1:7 See, he comes with the clouds, and every eye will see him, and those by whom he
was wounded; and all the tribes of the earth will be sorrowing because of him. Yes,
so be it.
1:7 Behold, he comes with clouds; and every eye shall see him, and they also which pierced him: and all families of the earth shall wail because of him. Even so, Amen.
1:8 ○ 주 하나님이 가라사대 나는 알파와 오메가라 이제도 있고 전에도 있었고
장차 올 자요 전능한 자라 하시더라
1:8 I am the First and the Last, says the Lord God who is and was and is to come, the
Ruler of all.
1:8 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, says the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty.
1:9 ○ 나 요한은 너희 형제요 예수의 환난과 나라와 참음에 동참하는 자라 하나님의
말씀과 예수의 증거를 인하여 밧모라 하는 섬에 있었더니
1:9 I, John, your brother, who have a part with you in the trouble and the kingdom and
the quiet strength of Jesus, was in the island which is named Patmos, for the word
of God and the witness of Jesus.
1:9 I John, who also am your brother, and companion in tribulation, and in the kingdom and patience of Jesus Christ, was in the isle that is called Patmos, for the word (o. logos) of God, and for the testimony of Jesus Christ.
1:10 주의 날에 내가 성령에 감동하여 내 뒤에서 나는 나팔 소리 같은 큰 음성을
들으니
1:10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day, and a great voice at my back, as of a horn,
came to my ears,
1:10 I was in the Spirit (o. pneuma) on the Lord's day, and heard behind me a great voice, as of a trumpet,
1:11 가로되 너 보는 것을 책에 써서 에베소, 서머나, 버가모, 두아디라, 사데,
빌라델비아, 라오디게아 일곱 교회에 보내라 하시기로
1:11 Saying, What you see, put in a book, and send it to the seven churches; to Ephesus
and to Smyrna and to Pergamos and to Thyatira and to Sardis and to Philadelphia
and to Laodicea.
1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What you see, write in a book, and send it unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
1:12 몸을 돌이켜 나더러 말한 음성을 알아 보려고 하여 돌이킬 때에 일곱 금 촛대를
보았는데
1:12 And turning to see the voice which said these words to me, I saw seven gold vessels
with lights burning in them;
1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spoke with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;
1:13 촛대 사이에 인자 같은 이가 발에 끌리는 옷을 입고 가슴에 금띠를 띠고
1:13 And in the middle of them one like a son of man, clothed with a robe down to his
feet, and with a band of gold round his breasts.
1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the breast with a golden girdle.
1:14 그 머리와 털의 희기가 흰 양털 같고 눈 같으며 그의 눈은 불꽃 같고
1:14 And his head and his hair were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were
as a flame of fire;
1:14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;
1:15 그의 발은 풀무에 단련한 빛난 주석 같고 그의 음성은 많은 물 소리와 같으며
1:15 And his feet like polished brass, as if it had been burned in a fire; and his voice
was as the sound of great waters.
1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.
1:16 그 오른손에 일곱 별이 있고 그 입에서 좌우에 날선 검이 나오고 그 얼굴은
해가 힘있게 비취는 것 같더라
1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth came a sharp two-edged
sword: and his face was like the sun shining in its strength.
1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two-edged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shines in his strength.
1:17 내가 볼 때에 그 발 앞에 엎드러져 죽은 자 같이 되매 그가 오른손을 내게
얹고 가라사대 두려워 말라 나는 처음이요 나중이니
1:17 And when I saw him, I went down on my face at his feet as one dead. And he put his
right hand on me, saying, Have no fear; I am the first and the last and the Living
one;
1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
1:18 곧 산 자라 내가 전에 죽었었노라 볼지어다 이제 세세토록 살아 있어 사망과
음부의 열쇠를 가졌노니
1:18 And I was dead, and see, I am living for ever, and I have the keys of death and
of Hell.
1:18 I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
1:19 그러므로 네 본 것과 이제 있는 일과 장차 될 일을 기록하라
1:19 Put in writing, then, the things which you have seen, and the things which are,
and the things which will be after these;
1:19 Write the things which you have seen, and the things which are, and the things which shall be hereafter;
1:20 네 본 것은 내 오른손에 일곱 별의 비밀과 일곱 금 촛대라 일곱 별은 일곱
교회의 사자요 일곱 촛대는 일곱 교회니라
1:20 The secret of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and of the seven gold
vessels with burning lights. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches:
and the seven lights are the seven churches.
1:20 The mystery of the seven stars which you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden candlesticks. The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches: and the seven candlesticks which you saw are the seven churches.
2:1 에베소 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 오른손에 일곱 별을 붙잡고 일곱 금 촛대
사이에 다니시는 이가 가라사대
2:1 To the angel of the church in Ephesus say: These things says he who has the seven
stars in his right hand, who is walking in the middle of the seven gold lights:
2:1 Unto the angel of the church of Ephesus write; These things says he that holds the seven stars in his right hand, who walks in the midst of the seven golden candlesticks;
2:2 내가 네 행위와 수고와 네 인내를 알고 또 악한 자들을 용납지 아니한 것과
자칭 사도라 하되 아닌 자들을 시험하여 그 거짓된 것을 네가 드러낸 것과
2:2 I have knowledge of your doings, and of your hard work and long waiting, and that
you will not put up with evil men, and have put to the test those who say they are
Apostles and are not, and have seen that they are false;
2:2 I know your works, and your labour, and your patience, and how you can not bear them which are evil: and you have tried them which say they are apostles, and are not, and have found them liars:
2:3 또 네가 참고 내 이름을 위하여 견디고 게으르지 아니한 것을 아노라
2:3 And you have the power of waiting, and have undergone trouble because of my name,
without weariness.
2:3 And have borne, and have patience, and for my name's sake have laboured, and have not fainted.
2:4 그러나 너를 책망할 것이 있나니 너의 처음 사랑을 버렸느니라
2:4 But I have this against you, that you are turned away from your first love.
2:4 Nevertheless I have somewhat against you, because you have left your first love. (o. agape)
2:5 그러므로 어디서 떨어진 것을 생각하고 회개하여 처음 행위를 가지라 만일
그리하지 아니하고 회개치 아니하면 내가 네게 임하여 네 촛대를 그 자리에서 옮기리라
2:5 So keep in mind where you were at first, and be changed in heart and do the first
works; or I will come to you, and will take away your light from its place, if your
hearts are not changed.
2:5 Remember therefore from whence you are fallen, and repent, and do the first works; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will remove your candlestick out of his place, except you repent.
2:6 오직 네게 이것이 있으니 네가 니골라 당의 행위를 미워하는도다 나도 이것을
미워하노라
2:6 But at least you have the credit of hating the works of the Nicolaitans, as I do.
2:6 But this you have, that you hate the deeds of the Nicolaitanes, which I also hate.
2:7 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다 이기는 그에게는
내가 하나님의 낙원에 있는 생명나무의 과실을 주어 먹게 하리라
2:7 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches. To him
who overcomes I will give of the fruit of the tree of life, which is in the Paradise
of God.
2:7 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the tree of life, which is in the midst of the paradise of God.
2:8 ○ 서머나 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 처음이요 나중이요 죽었다가 살아나신
이가 가라사대
2:8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna say: These things says the first and the
last, who was dead and is living:
2:8 And unto the angel of the church in Smyrna write; These things says the first and the last, which was dead, and is alive;
2:9 내가 네 환난과 궁핍을 아노니 실상은 네가 부요한 자니라 자칭 유대인이라
하는 자들의 훼방도 아노니 실상은 유대인이 아니요 사단의 회라
2:9 I have knowledge of your troubles and how poor you are (but you have true wealth),
and the evil words of those who say they are Jews, and are not, but are a Synagogue
of Satan.
2:9 I know your works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but you are rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.
2:10 네가 장차 받을 고난을 두려워 말라 볼지어다 마귀가 장차 너희 가운데서
몇 사람을 옥에 던져 시험을 받게 하리니 너희가 십 일 동안 환난을 받으리라 네가
죽도록 충성하라 그리하면 내가 생명의 면류관을 네게 주리라
2:10 Have no fear of the things which you will have to undergo: see, the Evil One will
send some of you into prison, so that you may be put to the test; and you will have
great trouble for ten days. Be true till death, and I will give you the crown of
life.
2:10 Fear none of those things which you shall suffer: behold, the devil shall cast some of you into prison, that all of you may be tried; and all of you shall have tribulation ten days: be you faithful unto death, and I will give you a crown of life.
2:11 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다 이기는 자는
둘째 사망의 해를 받지 아니하리라
2:11 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches. He who
overcomes will not come under the power of the second death.
2:11 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches; He that overcomes shall not be hurt of the second death.
2:12 ○ 버가모 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 좌우에 날선 검을 가진 이가 가라사대
2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos say: These things says he who has the
sharp two-edged sword:
2:12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things says he which has the sharp sword with two edges;
2:13 네가 어디 사는 것을 내가 아노니 거기는 사단의 위가 있는 데라 네가 내
이름을 굳게 잡아서 내 충성된 증인 안디바가 너희 가운데 곧 사단의 거하는 곳에서
죽임을 당할 때에도 나를 믿는 믿음을 저버리지 아니하였도다
2:13 I have knowledge that your living-place is where Satan has his seat: and you are
true to my name, and were not turned away from your faith in me, even in the days
of Antipas, my true witness, who was put to death among you, where Satan has his
place.
2:13 I know your works, and where you dwell, even where Satan's seat is: and you hold fast my name, and have not denied my faith, even in those days wherein Antipas was my faithful martyr, who was slain among you, where Satan dwells.
2:14 그러나 네게 두어 가지 책망할 것이 있나니 거기 네게 발람의 교훈을 지키는
자들이 있도다 발람이 발락을 가르쳐 이스라엘 앞에 올무를 놓아 우상의 제물을 먹게
하였고 또 행음하게 하였느니라
2:14 But I have some things against you, because you have with you those who keep the
teaching of Balaam, by whose suggestion Balak made the children of Israel go out
of the right way, taking food which was offered to false gods, and going after the
desires of the flesh.
2:14 But I have a few things against you, because you have there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.
2:15 이와 같이 네게도 니골라 당의 교훈을 지키는 자들이 있도다
2:15 And you have those who keep the teaching of the Nicolaitans.
2:15 So have you also them that hold the doctrine of the Nicolaitanes, which thing I hate.
2:16 그러므로 회개하라 그리하지 아니하면 내가 네게 속히 임하여 내 입의 검으로
그들과 싸우리라
2:16 See, then, that you have a change of heart; or I will come to you quickly, and will
make war against them with the sword of my mouth.
2:16 Repent; or else I will come unto you quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.
2:17 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다 이기는 그에게는
내가 감추었던 만나를 주고 또 흰 돌을 줄 터인데 그 돌 위에 새 이름을 기록한 것이
있나니 받는 자 밖에는 그 이름을 알 사람이 없느니라
2:17 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches. To him
who overcomes I will give of the secret manna, and I will give him a white stone,
and on the stone a new name, of which no one has knowledge but he to whom it is
given.
2:17 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches; To him that overcomes will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knows saving he that receives it.
2:18 ○ 두아디라 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 그 눈이 불꽃 같고 그 발이 빛난
주석과 같은 하나님의 아들이 가라사대
2:18 And to the angel of the church in Thyatira say: These things says the Son of God,
whose eyes are like a flame of fire, and his feet like polished brass:
2:18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things says the Son of God, who has his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass;
2:19 내가 네게 사업과 사랑과 믿음과 섬김과 인내를 아노니 네 나중 행위가 처음
것보다 많도다
2:19 I have knowledge of your works, and your love and faith and help and strength in
trouble, and that your last works are more than the first.
2:19 I know your works, and love, (o. agape) and service, and faith, and your patience, and your works; and the last to be more than the first.
2:20 그러나 네게 책망할 일이 있노라 자칭 선지자라 하는 여자 이세벨을 네가
용납함이니 그가 내 종들을 가르쳐 꾀어 행음하게 하고 우상의 제물을 먹게 하는도다
2:20 But I have this against you, that you let the woman Jezebel say she is a prophet
and give false teaching, making my servants go after the desires of the flesh and
take food offered to false gods.
2:20 Notwithstanding I have a few things against you, because you suffer that woman Jezebel, which calls herself a prophetess, to teach and to seduce my servants to commit fornication, and to eat things sacrificed unto idols.
2:21 또 내가 그에게 회개할 기회를 주었으되 그 음행을 회개하고자 아니하는도다
2:21 And I gave her time for a change of heart, but she has no mind to give up her unclean
ways.
2:21 And I gave her space to repent of her fornication; and she repented not.
2:22 볼지어다 내가 그를 침상에 던질 터이요 또 그로 더불어 간음하는 자들도
만일 그의 행위를 회개치 아니하면 큰 환난 가운데 던지고
2:22 See, I will put her into a bed, and those who make themselves unclean with her,
into great trouble, if they go on with her works.
2:22 Behold, I will cast her into a bed, and them that commit adultery with her into great tribulation, except they repent of their deeds.
2:23 또 내가 사망으로 그의 자녀를 죽이리니 모든 교회가 나는 사람의 뜻과 마음을
살피는 자인 줄 알지라 내가 너희 각 사람의 행위대로 갚아 주리라
2:23 And I will put her children to death; and all the churches will see that I am he
who makes search into the secret thoughts and hearts of men: and I will give to
every one of you the reward of your works.
2:23 And I will kill her children with death; and all the churches shall know that I am he which searches the reins and hearts: and I will give unto every one of you according to your works.
2:24 두아디라에 남아 있어 이 교훈을 받지 아니하고 소위 사단의 깊은 것을 알지
못하는 너희에게 말하노니 다른 짐으로 너희에게 지울 것이 없노라
2:24 But to you I say, to the rest in Thyatira, even to those who have not this teaching,
and have no knowledge of the secrets of Satan, as they say; I put on you no other
weight.
2:24 But unto you I say, and unto the rest in Thyatira, as many as have not this doctrine, and which have not known the depths of Satan, as they speak; I will put upon you no other burden.
2:25 다만 너희에게 있는 것을 내가 올 때까지 굳게 잡으라
2:25 But what you have, keep safe till I come.
2:25 But that which all of you have already hold fast till I come.
2:26 이기는 자와 끝까지 내 일을 지키는 그에게 만국을 다스리는 권세를 주리니
2:26 He who overcomes, and keeps my works to the end, to him I will give rule over the
nations,
2:26 And he that overcomes, and keeps my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations:
2:27 그가 철장을 가지고 저희를 다스려 질그릇 깨뜨리는 것과 같이 하리라 나도
내 아버지께 받은 것이 그러하니라
2:27 And he will be ruling them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of the potter they
will be broken, even as I have power from my Father:
2:27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father.
2:28 내가 또 그에게 새벽 별을 주리라
2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
2:28 And I will give him the morning star.
2:29 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
2:29 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches.
2:29 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches.
3:1 사데 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 하나님의 일곱 영과 일곱 별을 가진 이가
가라사대 내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 살았다 하는 이름은 가졌으나 죽은 자로다
3:1 And to the angel of the church in Sardis say: These things says he who has the seven
Spirits of God and the seven stars: I have knowledge of your works, that you seem
to be living but are dead.
3:1 And unto the angel of the church in Sardis write; These things says he that has the seven Spirits (o. pneuma) of God, and the seven stars; I know your works, that you have a name that you live, and are dead.
3:2 너는 일깨워 그 남은 바 죽게 된 것을 굳게 하라 내 하나님 앞에 네 행위의
온전한 것을 찾지 못하였노니
3:2 Be on the watch, and make strong the rest of the things which are near to death;
because as judged by me your works have not come up to God's measure.
3:2 Be watchful, and strengthen the things which remain, that are ready to die: for I have not found your works perfect before God.
3:3 그러므로 네가 어떻게 받았으며 어떻게 들었는지 생각하고 지키어 회개하라
만일 일깨지 아니하면 내가 도적 같이 이르리니 어느 시에 네게 임할는지 네가 알지
못하리라
3:3 Keep in mind, then, the teaching which was given to you, and be ruled by it and
have a change of heart. If then you do not keep watch, I will come like a thief,
and you will have no knowledge of the hour when I will come on you.
3:3 Remember therefore how you have received and heard, and hold fast, and repent. If therefore you shall not watch, I will come on you as a thief, and you shall not know what hour I will come upon you.
3:4 그러나 사데에 그 옷을 더럽히지 아니한 자 몇 명이 네게 있어 흰 옷을 입고
나와 함께 다니리니 그들은 합당한 자인 연고라
3:4 But you have some names in Sardis who have kept clean their robes; and as a reward
they will go in white with me.
3:4 You have a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy.
3:5 이기는 자는 이와 같이 흰 옷을 입을 것이요 내가 그 이름을 생명책에서 반드시
흐리지 아니하고 그 이름을 내 아버지 앞과 그 천사들 앞에서 시인하리라
3:5 He who overcomes will be dressed in white, and I will not take his name from the
book of life, and I will give witness to his name before my Father, and before his
angels.
3:5 He that overcomes, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
3:6 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
3:6 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches.
3:6 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches.
3:7 ○ 빌라델비아 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 거룩하고 진실하사 다윗의 열쇠를
가지신 이 곧 열면 닫을 사람이 없고 닫으면 열 사람이 없는 그이가 가라사대
3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia say: These things says he who is
holy, he who is true, he who has the key of David, opening the door so that it may
be shut by no one, and shutting it so that it may be open to no one.
3:7 And to the angel of the church in Philadelphia write; These things says he that is holy, he that is true, he that has the key of David, he that opens, and no man shuts; and shuts, and no man opens;
3:8 볼지어다 내가 네 앞에 열린 문을 두었으되 능히 닫을 사람이 없으리라 내가
네 행위를 아노니 네가 적은 능력을 가지고도 내 말을 지키며 내 이름을 배반치 아니하였도다
3:8 I have knowledge of your works (see, I have put before you an open door which may
be shut by no one), and that you have a little strength, and have kept my word,
and have been true to my name.
3:8 I know your works: behold, I have set before you an open door, and no man can shut it: for you have a little strength, and have kept my word, (o. logos) and have not denied my name.
3:9 보라 사단의 회 곧 자칭 유대인이라 하나 그렇지 않고 거짓말 하는 자들 중에서
몇을 네게 주어 저희로 와서 네 발 앞에 절하게 하고 내가 너를 사랑하는 줄을 알게
하리라
3:9 See, I will make those of the Synagogue of Satan who say they are Jews, and are
not, but say what is false; I will make them come and give worship before your feet,
and see my love for you.
3:9 Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before your feet, and to know that I have loved you.
3:10 네가 나의 인내의 말씀을 지켰은즉 내가 또한 너를 지키어 시험의 때를 면하게
하리니 이는 장차 온 세상에 임하여 땅에 거하는 자들을 시험할 때라
3:10 Because you have kept my word in quiet strength, I will keep you from the hour of
testing which is coming on all the world, to put to the test those who are on earth.
3:10 Because you have kept the word (o. logos) of my patience, I also will keep you from the hour of temptation, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth.
3:11 내가 속히 임하리니 네가 가진 것을 굳게 잡아 아무나 네 면류관을 빼앗지
못하게 하라
3:11 I come quickly: keep that which you have, so that no one may take your crown.
3:11 Behold, I come quickly: hold that fast which you have, that no man take your crown.
3:12 이기는 자는 내 하나님 성전에 기둥이 되게 하리니 그가 결코 다시 나가지
아니하리라 내가 하나님의 이름과 하나님의 성 곧 하늘에서 내 하나님께로부터 내려오는 새 예루살렘의 이름과 나의 새 이름을 그이 위에 기록하리라
3:12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the house of my God, and he will go out
no more: and I will put on him the name of my God, and the name of the town of my
God, the new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God, and my new name.
3:12 Him that overcomes will I make a pillar in the temple of my God, and he shall go no more out: and I will write upon him the name of my God, and the name of the city of my God, which is new Jerusalem, which comes down out of heaven from my God: and I will write upon him my new name.
3:13 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
3:13 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches.
3:13 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches.
3:14 ○ 라오디게아 교회의 사자에게 편지하기를 아멘이시요 충성되고 참된 증인이시요
하나님의 창조의 근본이신 이가 가라사대
3:14 And to the angel of the church in Laodicea say: These things says the true and certain
witness, the head of God's new order:
3:14 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things says the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;
3:15 내가 네 행위를 아노니 네가 차지도 아니하고 더웁지도 아니하도다 네가
차든지 더웁든지 하기를 원하노라
3:15 I have knowledge of your works, that you are not cold or warm: it would be better
if you were cold or warm.
3:15 I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot: I would you were cold or hot.
3:16 네가 이같이 미지근하여 더웁지도 아니하고 차지도 아니하니 내 입에서 너를
토하여 내치리라
3:16 So because you are not one thing or the other, I will have no more to do with you.
3:16 So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
3:17 네가 말하기를 나는 부자라 부요하여 부족한 것이 없다 하나 네 곤고한 것과
가련한 것과 가난한 것과 눈 먼 것과 벌거벗은 것을 알지 못하도다
3:17 For you say, I have wealth, and have got together goods and land, and have need
of nothing; and you are not conscious of your sad and unhappy condition, that you
are poor and blind and without clothing.
3:17 Because you says, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and know not that you are wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:
3:18 내가 너를 권하노니 내게서 불로 연단한 금을 사서 부요하게 하고 흰 옷을
사서 입어 벌거벗은 수치를 보이지 않게 하고 안약을 사서 눈에 발라 보게 하라
3:18 If you are wise you will get from me gold tested by fire, so that you may have true
wealth; and white robes to put on, so that your shame may not be seen; and oil for
your eyes, so that you may see.
3:18 I counsel you to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that you may be rich; and white raiment, that you may be clothed, and that the shame of your nakedness do not appear; and anoint yours eyes with eye salve, that you may see.
3:19 무릇 내가 사랑하는 자를 책망하여 징계하노니 그러므로 네가 열심을 내라
회개하라
3:19 To all those who are dear to me, I give sharp words and punishment: then with all
your heart have sorrow for your evil ways.
3:19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.
3:20 볼지어다 내가 문 밖에 서서 두드리노니 누구든지 내 음성을 듣고 문을 열면
내가 그에게로 들어가 그로 더불어 먹고 그는 나로 더불어 먹으리라
3:20 See, I am waiting at the door and giving the sign; if my voice comes to any man's
ears and he makes the door open, I will come in to him, and will take food with
him and he with me.
3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.
3:21 이기는 그에게는 내가 내 보좌에 함께 앉게 하여 주기를 내가 이기고 아버지
보좌에 함께 앉은 것과 같이 하리라
3:21 To him who overcomes I will give a place with me on my high seat, even as I overcame,
and am seated with my Father on his high seat.
3:21 To him that overcomes will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
3:22 귀 있는 자는 성령이 교회들에게 하시는 말씀을 들을지어다
3:22 He who has ears, let him give ear to what the Spirit says to the churches.
3:22 He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit (o. pneuma) says unto the churches.
4:1 이 일 후에 내가 보니 하늘에 열린 문이 있는데 내가 들은 바 처음에 내게
말하던 나팔 소리 같은 그 음성이 가로되 이리로 올라오라 이 후에 마땅히 될 일을
내가 네게 보이리라 하시더라
4:1 After these things I saw a door open in heaven, and the first voice came to my ears,
like the sound of a horn, saying, Come up here, and I will make clear to you the
things which are to come.
4:1 After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up here, and I will show you things which must be hereafter.
4:2 내가 곧 성령에 감동하였더니 보라 하늘에 보좌를 베풀었고 그 보좌 위에
앉으신 이가 있는데
4:2 Straight away I was in the Spirit: and I saw a high seat in heaven, and one was
seated on it;
4:2 And immediately I was in the spirit: (o. pneuma) and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne.
4:3 앉으신 이의 모양이 벽옥과 홍보석 같고 또 무지개가 있어 보좌에 둘렸는데
그 모양이 녹보석 같더라
4:3 And to my eyes he was like a jasper and a sardius stone: and there was an arch of
light round the high seat, like an emerald.
4:3 And he that sat was to look upon like a jasper and a sardine stone: and there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.
4:4 또 보좌에 둘려 이십 사 보좌들이 있고 그 보좌들 위에 이십 사 장로들이
흰 옷을 입고 머리에 금 면류관을 쓰고 앉았더라
4:4 And round about the high seat were four and twenty seats: and on them I saw four
and twenty rulers seated, clothed in white robes; and on their heads crowns of gold.
4:4 And round about the throne were four and twenty seats: and upon the seats I saw four and twenty elders sitting, clothed in white raiment; and they had on their heads crowns of gold.
4:5 보좌로부터 번개와 음성과 뇌성이 나고 보좌 앞에 일곱 등불 켠 것이 있으니
이는 하나님의 일곱 영이라
4:5 And out of the high seat came flames and voices and thunders. And seven lights of
fire were burning before the high seat, which are the seven Spirits of God;
4:5 And out of the throne proceeded lightnings and thunderings and voices: and there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits (o. pneuma) of God.
4:6 보좌 앞에 수정과 같은 유리 바다가 있고 보좌 가운데와 보좌 주위에 네 생물이
있는데 앞뒤에 눈이 가득하더라
4:6 And before the high seat there was, as it seemed, a clear sea of glass; and in the
middle of the high seat, and round about it, four beasts full of eyes round about.
4:6 And before the throne there was a sea of glass like unto crystal: and in the midst of the throne, and round about the throne, were four beasts full of eyes before and behind.
4:7 그 첫째 생물은 사자 같고 그 둘째 생물은 송아지 같고 그 세째 생물은 얼굴이
사람 같고 그 네째 생물은 날아가는 독수리 같은데
4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second like an ox, and the third had
a face like a man, and the fourth was like an eagle in flight.
4:7 And the first beast was like a lion, and the second beast like a calf, and the third beast had a face as a man, and the fourth beast was like a flying eagle.
4:8 네 생물이 각각 여섯 날개가 있고 그 안과 주위에 눈이 가득하더라 그들이
밤낮 쉬지 않고 이르기를 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 주 하나님 곧 전능하신
이여 전에도 계셨고 이제도 계시고 장차 오실 자라 하고
4:8 And the four beasts, having every one of them six wings, are full of eyes round
about and inside: and without resting day and night, they say, Holy, holy, holy,
Lord God, Ruler of all, who was and is and is to come.
4:8 And the four beasts had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within: and they rest not day and night, saying, Holy, holy, holy, LORD God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.
4:9 그 생물들이 영광과 존귀와 감사를 보좌에 앉으사 세세토록 사시는 이에게
돌릴 때에
4:9 And when the beasts give glory and honour to him who is seated on the high seat,
to him who is living for ever and ever,
4:9 And when those beasts give glory and honour and thanks to him that sat on the throne, who lives for ever and ever,
4:10 이십 사 장로들이 보좌에 앉으신 이 앞에 엎드려 세세토록 사시는 이에게
경배하고 자기의 면류관을 보좌 앞에 던지며 가로되
4:10 The four and twenty rulers go down on their faces before him who is seated on the
high seat, and give worship to him who is living for ever and ever, and take off
their crowns before the high seat, saying,
4:10 The four and twenty elders fall down before him that sat on the throne, and worship him that lives for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying,
4:11 우리 주 하나님이여 영광과 존귀와 능력을 받으시는 것이 합당하오니
주께서 만물을 지으신지라 만물이 주의 뜻대로 있었고 또 지으심을 받았나이다 하더라
4:11 It is right, our Lord and our God, for you to have glory and honour and power: because
by you were all things made, and by your desire they came into being.
4:11 You are worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for you have created all things, and for your pleasure they are and were created.
5:1 내가 보매 보좌에 앉으신 이의 오른손에 책이 있으니 안팎으로 썼고 일곱
인으로 봉하였더라
5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him who was seated on the high seat, a book with
writing inside it and on the back, shut with seven stamps of wax.
5:1 And I saw in the right hand of him that sat on the throne a book written within and on the backside, sealed with seven seals.
5:2 또 보매 힘있는 천사가 큰 음성으로 외치기를 누가 책을 펴며 그 인을 떼기에
합당하냐 하니
5:2 And I saw a strong angel saying in a loud voice, Who is able to make the book open,
and to undo its stamps?
5:2 And I saw a strong angel proclaiming with a loud voice, Who is worthy to open the book, and to loose the seals thereof?
5:3 하늘 위에나 땅 위에나 땅 아래에 능히 책을 펴거나 보거나 할 이가 없더라
5:3 And no one in heaven, or on the earth, or under the earth, was able to get the book
open, or to see what was in it.
5:3 And no man in heaven, nor in earth, neither under the earth, was able to open the book, neither to look thereon.
5:4 이 책을 펴거나 보거나 하기에 합당한 자가 보이지 않기로 내가 크게 울었더니
5:4 And I was very sad, because there was no one able to get the book open or to see
what was in it.
5:4 And I wept much, because no man was found worthy to open and to read the book, neither to look thereon.
5:5 장로 중에 하나가 내게 말하되 울지 말라 유대 지파의 사자 다윗의 뿌리가
이기었으니 이 책과 그 일곱 인을 떼시리라 하더라
5:5 And one of the rulers said to me, Do not be sad: see, the Lion of the tribe of Judah,
the Root of David, has overcome, and has power to undo the book and its seven stamps.
5:5 And one of the elders says unto me, Weep not: behold, the Lion of the tribe of Juda, the Root of David, has prevailed to open the book, and to loose the seven seals thereof.
5:6 내가 또 보니 보좌와 네 생물과 장로들 사이에 어린 양이 섰는데 일찍 죽임을
당한 것 같더라 일곱 뿔과 일곱 눈이 있으니 이 눈은 온 땅에 보내심을 입은 하나님의
일곱 영이더라
5:6 And I saw in the middle of the high seat and of the four beasts, and in the middle
of the rulers, a Lamb in his place, which seemed as if it had been put to death,
having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God, sent out
into all the earth.
5:6 And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits (o. pneuma) of God sent forth into all the earth.
5:7 어린 양이 나아와서 보좌에 앉으신 이의 오른손에서 책을 취하시니라
5:7 And he came and took it out of the right hand of him who was seated on the high
seat.
5:7 And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.
5:8 책을 취하시매 네 생물과 이십 사 장로들이 어린 양 앞에 엎드려 각각 거문고와
향이 가득한 금 대접을 가졌으니 이 향은 성도의 기도들이라
5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and the four and twenty rulers went
down on their faces before the Lamb, having every one an instrument of music, and
gold vessels full of perfumes, which are the prayers of the saints.
5:8 And when he had taken the book, the four beasts and four and twenty elders fell down before the Lamb, having every one of them harps, and golden vials full of odours, which are the prayers of saints.
5:9 새 노래를 노래하여 가로되 책을 가지시고 그 인봉을 떼기에
합당하시도다 일찍 죽임을 당하사 각 족속과 방언과 백성과 나라 가운데서 사람들을
피로 사서 하나님께 드리시고
5:9 And their voices are sounding in a new song, saying, It is right for you to take
the book and to make it open: for you were put to death and have made an offering
to God of your blood for men of every tribe, and language, and people, and nation,
5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, You are worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for you were slain, and have redeemed us to God by your blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;
5:10 저희로 우리 하나님 앞에서 나라와 제사장을 삼으셨으니 저희가 땅에서
왕노릇하리로다 하더라
5:10 And have made them a kingdom and priests to our God, and they are ruling on the
earth.
5:10 And have made us unto our God kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.
5:11 내가 또 보고 들으매 보좌와 생물들과 장로들을 둘러 선 많은 천사의 음성이
있으니 그 수가 만만이요 천천이라
5:11 And I saw, and there came to my ears the sound of a great number of angels round
about the high seat and the beasts and the rulers; and the number of them was ten
thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:11 And I beheld, and I heard the voice of many angels round about the throne and the beasts and the elders: and the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand, and thousands of thousands;
5:12 큰 음성으로 가로되 죽임을 당하신 어린 양이 능력과 부와 지혜와 힘과
존귀와 영광과 찬송을 받으시기에 합당하도다 하더라
5:12 Saying with a great voice, It is right to give to the Lamb who was put to death,
power and wealth and wisdom and strength and honour and glory and blessing.
5:12 Saying with a loud voice, Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power, and riches, and wisdom, and strength, and honour, and glory, and blessing.
5:13 내가 또 들으니 하늘 위에와 땅 위에와 땅 아래와 바다 위에와 또 그 가운데
모든 만물이 가로되 보좌에 앉으신 이와 어린 양에게 찬송과 존귀와 영광과
능력을 세세토록 돌릴지어다 하니
5:13 And to my ears came the voice of everything in heaven and on earth and under the
earth and in the sea, and of all things which are in them, saying, To him who is
seated on the high seat, and to the Lamb, may blessing and honour and glory and
power be given for ever and ever.
5:13 And every creature which is in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and such as are in the sea, and all that are in them, heard I saying, Blessing, and honour, and glory, and power, be unto him that sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb for ever and ever.
5:14 네 생물이 가로되 아멘 하고 장로들은 엎드려 경배하더라
5:14 And the four beasts said, So be it. And the rulers went down on their faces and
gave worship.
5:14 And the four beasts said, Amen. And the four and twenty elders fell down and worshipped him that lives for ever and ever.
6:1 내가 보매 어린 양이 일곱 인 중에 하나를 떼시는 그 때에 내가 들으니 네
생물 중에 하나가 우뢰소리 같이 말하되 오라 하기로
6:1 And I saw when the Lamb undid one of the stamps, and the voice of one of the four
beasts came to my ears, saying as with a voice of thunder, Come and see.
6:1 And I saw when the Lamb opened one of the seals, and I heard, as it were the noise of thunder, one of the four beasts saying, Come and see.
6:2 내가 이에 보니 흰 말이 있는데 그 탄 자가 활을 가졌고 면류관을 받고 나가서
이기고 또 이기려고 하더라
6:2 And I saw a white horse, and he who was seated on it had a bow; and there was given
to him a crown: and he went out with power to overcome.
6:2 And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
6:3 ○ 둘째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 들으니 둘째 생물이 말하되 오라 하더니
6:3 And when the second stamp was undone, the voice of the second beast came to my ears,
saying, Come and see.
6:3 And when he had opened the second seal, I heard the second beast say, Come and see.
6:4 이에 붉은 다른 말이 나오더라 그 탄 자가 허락을 받아 땅에서 화평을 제하여
버리며 서로 죽이게 하고 또 큰 칼을 받았더라
6:4 And another horse came out, a red horse; and it was given to him who was seated
on it to take peace from the earth, so that people might put one another to death:
and there was given to him a great sword.
6:4 And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
6:5 ○ 세째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 들으니 세째 생물이 말하되 오라 하기로 내가
보니 검은 말이 나오는데 그 탄 자가 손에 저울을 가졌더라
6:5 And when the third stamp was undone, the voice of the third beast came to my ears,
saying, Come and see. And I saw a black horse; and he who was seated on it had scales
in his hand.
6:5 And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6:6 내가 네 생물 사이로서 나는 듯하는 음성을 들으니 가로되 한 데나리온에
밀 한 되요 한 데나리온에 보리 석 되로다 또 감람유와 포도주는 해치 말라 하더라
6:6 And a voice came to my ears, from the middle of the four beasts, saying, A measure
of grain for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny: and see that you
do no damage to the oil and the wine.
6:6 And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see you hurt not the oil and the wine.
6:7 ○ 네째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 네째 생물의 음성을 들으니 가로되 오라 하기로
6:7 And when the fourth stamp was undone, the voice of the fourth beast came to my ears,
saying, Come and see.
6:7 And when he had opened the fourth seal, I heard the voice of the fourth beast say, Come and see.
6:8 내가 보매 청황색 말이 나오는데 그 탄 자의 이름은 사망이니 음부가 그 뒤를
따르더라 저희가 땅 사분 일의 권세를 얻어 검과 흉년과 사망과 땅의 짐승으로써
죽이더라
6:8 And I saw a grey horse, and the name of him who was seated on it was Death; and
Hell came after him. And there was given to them authority over the fourth part
of the earth, to put to destruction by the sword, and by taking away their food,
and by death, and by the beasts of the earth.
6:8 And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth.
6:9 ○ 다섯째 인을 떼실 때에 내가 보니 하나님의 말씀과 저희의 가진 증거를
인하여 죽임을 당한 영혼들이 제단 아래 있어
6:9 And when the fifth stamp was undone, I saw under the altar the souls of those who
had been put to death for the word of God, and for the witness which they kept.
6:9 And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word (o. logos) of God, and for the testimony which they held:
6:10 큰 소리로 불러 가로되 거룩하고 참되신 대주재여 땅에 거하는 자들을 심판하여
우리 피를 신원하여 주지 아니하시기를 어느 때까지 하시려나이까 하니
6:10 And they gave a great cry, saying, How long will it be, O Ruler, holy and true,
before you take your place as judge and give punishment for our blood to those on
the earth?
6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, do you not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?
6:11 각각 저희에게 흰 두루마기를 주시며 가라사대 아직 잠시 동안 쉬되 저희
동무 종들과 형제들도 자기처럼 죽임을 받아 그 수가 차기까지 하라 하시더라
6:11 And there was given to every one a white robe, and they were ordered to take their
rest for a little time, till the number was complete of the other servants, their
brothers, who would be put to death, even as they had been.
6:11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellow servants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.
6:12 ○ 내가 보니 여섯째 인을 택하실 떼에 큰 지진이 나며 해가 총담 같이 검어지고
온 달이 피 같이 되며
6:12 And I saw when the sixth stamp was undone, and there was a great earth-shock; and
the sun became black as haircloth, and all the moon became as blood;
6:12 And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood;
6:13 하늘의 별들이 무화과나무가 대풍에 흔들려 선 과실이 떨어지는 것 같이
땅에 떨어지며
6:13 And the stars of heaven were falling to the earth, like green fruit from a tree
before the force of a great wind.
6:13 And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casts her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
6:14 하늘은 종이 축이 말리는 것 같이 떠나가고 각 산과 섬이 제 자리에서 옮기우매
6:14 And the heaven was taken away like the roll of a book when it is rolled up; and
all the mountains and islands were moved out of their places.
6:14 And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
6:15 땅의 임금들과 왕족들과 장군들과 부자들과 강한 자들과 각 종과 자주자가
굴과 산 바위 틈에 숨어
6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the rulers, and the chief captains, and the men
of wealth, and the strong, and every servant and free man, took cover in the holes
and the rocks of the mountains;
6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
6:16 산과 바위에게 이르되 우리 위에 떨어져 보좌에 앉으신 이의 낯에서와 어린
양의
진노에서 우리를 가리우라
6:16 And they say to the mountains and to the rocks, Come down on us, covering us from
the face of him who is seated on the high seat, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
6:16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sits on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
6:17 그들의 진노의 큰 날이 이르렀으니 누가 능히 서리요 하더라
6:17 For the great day of their wrath is come, and who may keep his place?
6:17 For the great day of his wrath has come; and who shall be able to stand?
7:1 이 일 후에 내가 네 천사가 땅 네 모퉁이에 선 것을 보니 땅의 사방의 바람을
붙잡아 바람으로 하여금 땅에나 바다에나 각종 나무에 불지 못하게 하더라
7:1 After this I saw four angels in their places at the four points of the earth, keeping
back the four winds in their hands, so that there might be no moving of the wind
on the earth, or on the sea, or on any tree.
7:1 And after these things I saw four angels standing on the four corners of the earth, holding the four winds of the earth, that the wind should not blow on the earth, nor on the sea, nor on any tree.
7:2 또 보매 다른 천사가 살아 계신 하나님의 인을 가지고 해 돋는 데로부터 올라와서
땅과 바다를 해롭게 할 권세를 얻은 네 천사를 향하여 큰 소리로 외쳐
7:2 And I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the mark of the living God:
and he said with a great voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to do damage
to the earth and the sea,
7:2 And I saw another angel ascending from the east, having the seal of the living God: and he cried with a loud voice to the four angels, to whom it was given to hurt the earth and the sea,
7:3 가로되 우리가 우리 하나님의 종들의 이마에 인치기까지 땅이나 바다나 나무나
해하지 말라 하더라
7:3 Do no damage to the earth, or the sea, or the trees, till we have put a mark on
the servants of our God.
7:3 Saying, Hurt not the earth, neither the sea, nor the trees, till we have sealed the servants of our God in their foreheads.
7:4 내가 인 맞은 자의 수를 들으니 이스라엘 자손의 각 지파 중에서 인 맞은
자들이 십 사만 사천이니
7:4 And there came to my ears the number of those who had the mark on their brows, a
hundred and forty-four thousand, who were marked out of every tribe of the people
of Israel.
7:4 And I heard the number of them which were sealed: and there were sealed an hundred and forty and four thousand of all the tribes of the children of Israel.
7:5 ○ 유다 지파 중에 인 맞은 자가 일만 이천이요 르우벤 지파 중에 일만 이천이요
갓 지파 중에 일만 이천이요
7:5 Of the tribe of Judah were marked twelve thousand: of the tribe of Reuben twelve
thousand: of the tribe of Gad twelve thousand:
7:5 Of the tribe of Juda were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Reuben were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Gad were sealed twelve thousand.
7:6 아셀 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 납달리 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 므낫세 지파
중에 일만 이천이요
7:6 Of the tribe of Asher twelve thousand: of the tribe of Naphtali twelve thousand:
of the tribe of Manasseh twelve thousand:
7:6 Of the tribe of Aser were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Nephthalim were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Manasses were sealed twelve thousand.
7:7 시므온 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 레위 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 잇사갈 지파
중에 일만 이천이요
7:7 Of the tribe of Simeon twelve thousand: of the tribe of Levi twelve thousand: of
the tribe of Issachar twelve thousand:
7:7 Of the tribe of Simeon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Levi were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Issachar were sealed twelve thousand.
7:8 스블론 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 요셉 지파 중에 일만 이천이요 베냐민 지파
중에 인 맞은 자가 일만 이천이라
7:8 Of the tribe of Zebulun twelve thousand: of the tribe of Joseph twelve thousand:
of the tribe of Benjamin were marked twelve thousand.
7:8 Of the tribe of Zabulon were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Joseph were sealed twelve thousand. Of the tribe of Benjamin were sealed twelve thousand.
7:9 이 일 후에 내가 보니 각 나라와 족속과 백성과 방언에서 아무라도 능히 셀
수 없는 큰 무리가 흰 옷을 입고 손에 종려 가지를 들고 보좌 앞과 어린 양 앞에 서서
7:9 After these things I saw a great army of people more than might be numbered, out
of every nation and of all tribes and peoples and languages, taking their places
before the high seat and before the Lamb, dressed in white robes, and with branches
in their hands,
7:9 After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and families, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
7:10 큰 소리로 외쳐 가로되 구원하심이 보좌에 앉으신 우리 하나님과 어린
양에게
있도다 하니
7:10 Saying with a loud voice, Salvation to our God who is seated on the high seat, and
to the Lamb.
7:10 And cried with a loud voice, saying, Salvation to our God which sits upon the throne, and unto the Lamb.
7:11 모든 천사가 보좌와 장로들과 네 생물의 주위에 섰다가 보좌 앞에 엎드려
얼굴을 대고 하나님께 경배하여
7:11 And all the angels were round about the high seat, and about the rulers and the
four beasts; and they went down on their faces before the high seat, and gave worship
to God, saying,
7:11 And all the angels stood round about the throne, and about the elders and the four beasts, and fell before the throne on their faces, and worshipped God,
7:12 가로되 아멘 찬송과 영광과 지혜와 감사와 존귀와 능력과 힘이 우리
하나님께 세세토록 있을지로다 아멘 하더라
7:12 So be it. Let blessing and glory and wisdom and praise and honour and power and
strength be given to our God for ever and ever. So be it.
7:12 Saying, Amen: Blessing, and glory, and wisdom, and thanksgiving, and honour, and power, and might, be unto our God for ever and ever. Amen.
7:13 장로 중에 하나가 응답하여 내게 이르되 이 흰 옷 입은 자들이 누구며 또
어디서 왔느뇨
7:13 And one of the rulers made answer, saying to me, These who have on white robes,
who are they, and where did they come from?
7:13 And one of the elders answered, saying unto me, What are these which are arrayed in white robes? and whence came they?
7:14 내가 가로되 내 주여 당신이 알리이다 하니 그가 나더러 이르되 이는 큰
환난에서 나오는 자들인데 어린 양의 피에 그 옷을 씻어 희게 하였느니라
7:14 And I said to him, My lord, you have knowledge. And he said to me, These are they
who came through the great testing, and their robes have been washed and made white
in the blood of the Lamb.
7:14 And I said unto him, Sir, you know. And he said to me, These are they which came out of great tribulation, and have washed their robes, and made them white in the blood of the Lamb.
7:15 그러므로 그들이 하나님의 보좌 앞에 있고 또 그의 성전에서 밤낮 하나님을
섬기매 보좌에 앉으신 이가 그들 위에 장막을 치시리니
7:15 This is why they are before the high seat of God; and they are his servants day
and night in his house: and he who is seated on the high seat will be a tent over
them.
7:15 Therefore are they before the throne of God, and serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sits on the throne shall dwell among them.
7:16 저희가 다시 주리지도 아니하며 목마르지도 아니하고 해나 아무 뜨거운 기운에
상하지 아니할지니
7:16 They will never be in need of food or drink: and they will never again be troubled
by the burning heat of the sun:
7:16 They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun light on them, nor any heat.
7:17 이는 보좌 가운데 계신 어린 양이 저희의 목자가 되사 생명수 샘으로 인도하시고
하나님께서 저희 눈에서 모든 눈물을 씻어 주실 것임이러라
7:17 For the Lamb who is on the high seat will be their keeper and their guide to fountains
of living water: and God will make glad their eyes for ever.
7:17 For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
8:1 일곱째 인을 떼실 때에 하늘이 반 시 동안쯤 고요하더니
8:1 And when the seventh stamp was undone there was quiet in heaven for about half an
hour.
8:1 And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven about the space of half an hour.
8:2 내가 보매 하나님 앞에 시위한 일곱 천사가 있어 일곱 나팔을 받았더라
8:2 And I saw the seven angels who had their place before God; and seven horns were
given to them.
8:2 And I saw the seven angels which stood before God; and to them were given seven trumpets.
8:3 ○ 또 다른 천사가 와서 제단 곁에 서서 금 향로를 가지고 많은 향을 받았으니
이는 모든 성도의 기도들과 합하여 보좌 앞 금단에 드리고자 함이라
8:3 And another angel came and took his place at the altar, having a gold vessel for
burning perfume; and there was given to him much perfume, so that he might put it
with the prayers of all the saints on the gold altar which was before the high seat.
8:3 And another angel came and stood at the altar, having a golden censer; and there was given unto him much incense, that he should offer it with the prayers of all saints upon the golden altar which was before the throne.
8:4 향연이 성도의 기도와 함께 천사의 손으로부터 하나님 앞으로 올라가는지라
8:4 And the smoke of the perfume, with the prayers of the saints, went up before God
out of the angel's hand.
8:4 And the smoke of the incense, which came with the prayers of the saints, ascended up before God out of the angel's hand.
8:5 천사가 향로를 가지고 단 위의 불을 담아다가 땅에 쏟으매 뇌성과 음성과
번개와 지진이 나더라
8:5 And the angel took the vessel; and he made it full of the fire of the altar, and
sent it down on the earth: and there came thunders and voices and flames and a shaking
of the earth.
8:5 And the angel took the censer, and filled it with fire of the altar, and cast it into the earth: and there were voices, and thunderings, and lightnings, and an earthquake.
8:6 ○ 일곱 나팔 가진 일곱 천사가 나팔 불기를 예비하더라
8:6 And the seven angels who had the seven horns made ready for sounding them.
8:6 And the seven angels which had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound.
8:7 ○ 첫째 천사가 나팔을 부니 피 섞인 우박과 불이 나서 땅에 쏟아지매 땅의
삼분의 일이 타서 사위고 수목의 삼분의 일도 타서 사위고 각종 푸른 풀도 타서 사위더라
8:7 And at the sounding of the first, a rain of ice and fire, mixed with blood, was
sent on the earth: and a third part of the earth, and of the trees, and all green
grass was burned up.
8:7 The first angel sounded, and there followed hail and fire mingled with blood, and they were cast upon the earth: and the third part of trees was burnt up, and all green grass was burnt up.
8:8 ○ 둘째 천사가 나팔을 부니 불 붙는 큰 산과 같은 것이 바다에 던지우매 바다의
삼분의 일이 피가 되고
8:8 And at the sounding of the second angel, it was as if a great mountain burning with
fire was sent into the sea: and a third part of the sea became blood,
8:8 And the second angel sounded, and as it were a great mountain burning with fire was cast into the sea: and the third part of the sea became blood;
8:9 바다 가운데 생명 가진 피조물들의 삼분의 일이 죽고 배들의 삼분의 일이
깨어지더라
8:9 And destruction came on a third part of the living things which were in the sea,
and on a third part of the ships.
8:9 And the third part of the creatures which were in the sea, and had life, died; and the third part of the ships were destroyed.
8:10 ○ 세째 천사가 나팔을 부니 횃불 같이 타는 큰 별이 하늘에서 떨어져 강들의
삼분의 일과 여러 물샘에 떨어지니
8:10 And at the sounding of the third angel, there went down from heaven a great star,
burning like a flame, and it came on a third part of the rivers, and on the fountains
of water.
8:10 And the third angel sounded, and there fell a great star from heaven, burning as it were a lamp, and it fell upon the third part of the rivers, and upon the fountains of waters;
8:11 이 별 이름은 쑥이라 물들의 삼분의 일이 쑥이 되매 그 물들이 쓰게 됨을
인하여 많은 사람이 죽더라
8:11 And the name of the star is Wormwood: and a third part of the waters became bitter;
and a number of men came to their end because of the waters, for they were made
bitter.
8:11 And the name of the star is called Wormwood: and the third part of the waters became wormwood; and many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter.
8:12 ○ 네째 천사가 나팔을 부니 해 삼분의 일과 달 삼분의 일과 별들의 삼분의
일이 침을 받아 그 삼분의 일이 어두워지니 낮 삼분의 일은 비췸이 없고 밤도 그러하더라
8:12 And at the sounding of the fourth angel, a third part of the sun, and of the moon,
and of the stars was made dark, so that there was no light for a third part of the
day and of the night.
8:12 And the fourth angel sounded, and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars; so as the third part of them was darkened, and the day shone not for a third part of it, and the night likewise.
8:13 ○ 내가 또 보고 들으니 공중에 날아가는 독수리가 큰 소리로 이르되 땅에
거하는 자들에게 화, 화, 화가 있으리로다 이 외에도 세 천사의 불 나팔 소리를 인함이로다
하더라
8:13 And there came to my ears the cry of an eagle in flight in the middle of heaven,
saying with a great voice, Trouble, trouble, trouble, to all on the earth, because
of the other voices of the horns of the three angels, whose sounding is still to
come.
8:13 And I beheld, and heard an angel flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice, Woe, woe, woe, to the citizens of the earth by reason of the other voices of the trumpet of the three angels, which are yet to sound!
9:1 다섯째 천사가 나팔을 불매 내가 보니 하늘에서 땅에 떨어진 별 하나가 있는데
저가 무저갱의 열쇠를 받았더라
9:1 And at the sounding of the fifth angel I saw a star falling from heaven to the earth:
and there was given to him the key of the great deep.
9:1 And the fifth angel sounded, and I saw a star fall from heaven unto the earth: and to him was given the key of the bottomless pit.
9:2 저가 무저갱을 여니 그 구멍에서 큰 풀무의 연기 같은 연기가 올라오매 해와
공기가 그 구멍의 연기로 인하여 어두워지며
9:2 And he made the great deep open and a smoke went up from it, like the smoke of a
great oven; and the sun and the air were made dark because of the smoke.
9:2 And he opened the bottomless pit; and there arose a smoke out of the pit, as the smoke of a great furnace; and the sun and the air were darkened by reason of the smoke of the pit.
9:3 또 황충이 연기 가운데로부터 땅 위에 나오매 저희가 땅에 있는 전갈의 권세와
같은 권세를 받았더라
9:3 And from the smoke locusts came out on the earth; and power was given them, like
the power of scorpions.
9:3 And there came out of the smoke locusts upon the earth: and unto them was given power, as the scorpions of the earth have power.
9:4 저희에게 이르시되 땅의 풀이나 푸른 것이나 각종 수목은 해하지 말고 오직
이마에 하나님의 인 맞지 아니한 사람들만 해하라 하시더라
9:4 And they were ordered to do no damage to the grass of the earth, or any green thing,
or any tree, but only to such men as have not the mark of God on their brows.
9:4 And it was commanded them that they should not hurt the grass of the earth, neither any green thing, neither any tree; but only those men which have not the seal of God in their foreheads.
9:5 그러나 그들을 죽이지는 못하게 하시고 다섯 달 동안 괴롭게만 하게 하시는데
그 괴롭게 함은 전갈이 사람을 쏠 때에 괴롭게 함과 같더라
9:5 And orders were given them not to put them to death, but to give them great pain
for five months: and their pain was as the pain from the wound of a scorpion.
9:5 And to them it was given that they should not kill them, but that they should be tormented five months: and their torment was as the torment of a scorpion, when he strikes a man.
9:6 그 날에는 사람들이 죽기를 구하여도 얻지 못하고 죽고 싶으나 죽음이 저희를
피하리로다
9:6 And in those days men will be hoping for death, and it will not come to them; and
they will have a great desire for death, and death will go in flight from them.
9:6 And in those days shall men seek death, and shall not find it; and shall desire to die, and death shall flee from them.
9:7 황충들의 모양은 전쟁을 위하여 예비한 말들 같고 그 머리에 금 같은 면류관
비슷한 것을 썼으며 그 얼굴은 사람의 얼굴 같고
9:7 And the forms of the locusts were like horses made ready for war; and on their heads
they had crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
9:7 And the shapes of the locusts were like unto horses prepared unto battle; and on their heads were as it were crowns like gold, and their faces were as the faces of men.
9:8 또 여자의 머리털 같은 머리털이 있고 그 이는 사자의 이 같으며
9:8 And they had hair like the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9:8 And they had hair as the hair of women, and their teeth were as the teeth of lions.
9:9 또 철 흉갑 같은 흉갑이 있고 그 날개들의 소리는 병거와 많은 말들이 전장으로
달려 들어가는 소리 같으며
9:9 And they had breastplates like iron, and the sound of their wings was as the sound
of carriages, like an army of horses rushing to the fight.
9:9 And they had breastplates, as it were breastplates of iron; and the sound of their wings was as the sound of chariots of many horses running to battle.
9:10 또 전갈과 같은 꼬리와 쏘는 살이 있어 그 꼬리에는 다섯 달 동안 사람들을
해하는 권세가 있더라
9:10 And they have pointed tails like scorpions; and in their tails is their power to
give men wounds for five months.
9:10 And they had tails like unto scorpions, and there were stings in their tails: and their power was to hurt men five months.
9:11 저희에게 임금이 있으니 무저갱의 사자라 히브리 음으로 이름은 아바돈이요
헬라 음으로 이름은 아볼루온이더라
9:11 They have over them as king the angel of the great deep: his name in Hebrew is Abaddon,
and in the Greek language Apollyon.
9:11 And they had a king over them, which is the angel of the bottomless pit, whose name in the Hebrew tongue is Abaddon, but in the Greek tongue has his name Apollyon.
9:12 ○ 첫째 화는 지나갔으나 보라 아직도 이 후에 화 둘이 이르리로다
9:12 The first Trouble is past: see, there are still two Troubles to come.
9:12 One woe is past; and, behold, there come two woes more hereafter.
9:13 ○ 여섯째 천사가 나팔을 불매 내가 들으니 하나님 앞 금단 네 뿔에서 한
음성이 나서
9:13 And at the sounding of the sixth angel a voice came to my ears from the horns of
the gold altar which is before God,
9:13 And the sixth angel sounded, and I heard a voice from the four horns of the golden altar which is before God,
9:14 나팔 가진 여섯째 천사에게 말하기를 큰 강 유브라데에 결박한 네 천사를
놓아 주라 하매
9:14 Saying to the sixth angel who had the horn, Make free the four angels who are chained
at the great river Euphrates.
9:14 Saying to the sixth angel which had the trumpet, Loose the four angels which are bound in the great river Euphrates.
9:15 네 천사가 놓였으니 그들은 그 년, 월, 일, 시에 이르러 사람 삼분의 일을
죽이기로 예비한 자들이더라
9:15 And the four angels were made free, who were ready for the hour and day and month
and year, that they might put to death a third part of men.
9:15 And the four angels were loosed, which were prepared for an hour, and a day, and a month, and a year, in order to slay the third part of men.
9:16 마병대의 수는 이만 만이니 내가 그들의 수를 들었노라
9:16 And the number of the armies of the horsemen was twice ten thousand times ten thousand:
the number of them came to my ears.
9:16 And the number of the army of the horsemen were two hundred thousand thousand: and I heard the number of them.
9:17 이같이 이상한 가운데 그 말들과 그 탄 자들을 보니 불빛과 자주빛과 유황빛
흉갑이 있고 또 말들의 머리는 사자 머리 같고 그 입에서는 불과 연기와 유황이 나오더라
9:17 And so I saw the horses in the vision, and those who were seated on them, having
breastplates of fire and glass and of burning stone: and the heads of the horses
were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths came fire and smoke and a smell
of burning.
9:17 And thus I saw the horses in the vision, and them that sat on them, having breastplates of fire, and of jacinth, and brimstone: and the heads of the horses were as the heads of lions; and out of their mouths issued fire and smoke and brimstone.
9:18 이 세 재앙 곧 저희 입에서 나오는 불과 연기와 유황을 인하여 사람 삼분의
일이 죽임을 당하니라
9:18 By these evils a third part of men was put to death, by the fire, and the smoke,
and the burning smell which came out of their mouths.
9:18 By these three was the third part of men killed, by the fire, and by the smoke, and by the brimstone, which issued out of their mouths.
9:19 이 말들의 힘은 그 입과 그 꼬리에 있으니 그 꼬리는 뱀 같고 또 꼬리에
머리가 있어 이것으로 해하더라
9:19 For the power of the horses is in their mouths and in their tails: because their
tails are like snakes, and have heads, and with them they give wounds.
9:19 For their power is in their mouth, and in their tails: for their tails were like unto serpents, and had heads, and with them they do hurt.
9:20 이 재앙에 죽지 않고 남은 사람들은 그 손으로 행하는 일을 회개치 아니하고
오히려 여러 귀신과 또는 보거나 듣거나 다니거나 하지 못하는 금, 은, 동과 목,
석의
우상에게 절하고
9:20 And the rest of the people, who were not put to death by these evils, were not turned
from the works of their hands, but went on giving worship to evil spirits, and images
of gold and silver and brass and stone and wood which have no power of seeing or
hearing or walking:
9:20 And the rest of the men which were not killed by these plagues yet repented not of the works of their hands, that they should not worship devils, and idols of gold, and silver, and brass, and stone, and of wood: which neither can see, nor hear, nor walk:
9:21 또 그 살인과 복술과 음행과 도적질을 회개치 아니하더라
9:21 And they had no regret for putting men to death, or for their use of secret arts,
or for the evil desires of the flesh, or for taking the property of others.
9:21 Neither repented they of their murders, nor of their sorceries, nor of their fornication, nor of their thefts.
10:1 내가 또 보니 힘 센 다른 천사가 구름을 입고 하늘에서 내려오는데 그 머리
위에 무지개가 있고 그 얼굴은 해 같고 그 발은 불기둥 같으며
10:1 And I saw another strong angel coming down out of heaven, clothed with a cloud;
and an arch of coloured light was round his head, and his face was like the sun,
and his feet like pillars of fire;
10:1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire:
10:2 그 손에 펴 놓인 작은 책을 들고 그 오른발은 바다를 밟고 왼발은 땅을 밟고
10:2 And he had in his hand a little open book: and he put his right foot on the sea,
and his left on the earth;
10:2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth,
10:3 사자의 부르짖는 것 같이 큰 소리로 외치니 외칠 때에 일곱 우뢰가 그 소리를
발하더라
10:3 And he gave a loud cry, like the angry voice of a lion: and at his cry the voices
of the seven thunders were sounding.
10:3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roars: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices.
10:4 일곱 우뢰가 발할 때에 내가 기록하려고 하다가 곧 들으니 하늘에서 소리
나서
말하기를 일곱 우뢰가 발한 것을 인봉하고 기록하지 말라 하더라
10:4 And when the seven thunders had given out their voices, I was about to put their
words down: and a voice from heaven came to my ears, saying, Keep secret the things
which the seven thunders said, and do not put them in writing.
10:4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not.
10:5 내가 본 바 바다와 땅을 밟고 섰는 천사가 하늘을 향하여 오른손을 들고
10:5 And the angel which I saw taking his position on the sea and on the earth, put up
his right hand to heaven,
10:5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven,
10:6 세세토록 살아계신 자 곧 하늘과 그 가운데 있는 물건이며 땅과 그 가운데
있는 물건이며 바다와 그 가운데 있는 물건을 창조하신 이를 가리켜 맹세하여 가로되
지체하지 아니하리니
10:6 And took his oath by him who is living for ever and ever, who made the heaven and
the things in it, and the earth and the things in it, and the sea and the things
in it, that there would be no more waiting:
10:6 And swore by him that lives for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer:
10:7 일곱째 천사가 소리 내는 날 그 나팔을 불게 될 때에 하나님의 비밀이 그
종 선지자들에게 전하신 복음과 같이 이루리라
10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when the sound of his horn is
about to come, then will the secret of God be complete, of which he gave the good
news to his servants the prophets.
10:7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he has declared to his servants the prophets.
10:8 하늘에서 나서 내게 들리던 음성이 또 내게 말하여 가로되 네가 가서 바다와
땅을 밟고 섰는 천사의 손에 펴 놓인 책을 가지라 하기로
10:8 And the voice came to me again from heaven, saying, Go, take the book which is open
in the hand of the angel who has his place on the sea and on the earth.
10:8 And the voice which I heard from heaven spoke unto me again, and said, Go and take the little book which is open in the hand of the angel which stands upon the sea and upon the earth.
10:9 내가 천사에게 나아가 작은 책을 달라 한즉 천사가 가로되 갖다 먹어 버리라
네 배에는 쓰나 네 입에는 꿀 같이 달리라 하거늘
10:9 And I went to the angel, and said to him, Give me the little book. And he said to
me: Put it in your mouth; and it will make your stomach bitter, but in your mouth
it will be sweet as honey.
10:9 And I went unto the angel, and said unto him, Give me the little book. And he said unto me, Take it, and eat it up; and it shall make your belly bitter, but it shall be in your mouth sweet as honey.
10:10 내가 천사의 손에서 작은 책을 갖다 먹어 버리니 내 입에는 꿀 같이 다나
먹은 후에 내 배에서는 쓰게 되더라
10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand and did as he said; and it was
sweet as honey in my mouth: and when I had taken it, my stomach was made bitter.
10:10 And I took the little book out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten it, my belly was bitter.
10:11 저가 내게 말하기를 네가 많은 백성과 나라와 방언과 임금에게 다시 예언하여야
하리라 하더라
10:11 And they said to me, You are to give word again of what is coming in the future
to the peoples and nations and languages and kings.
10:11 And he said unto me, You must prophesy again before many races and tribes, and nations, and tongues, and kings.
11:1 또 내게 지팡이 같은 갈대를 주며 말하기를 일어나서 하나님의 성전과 제단과
그 안에서 경배하는 자들을 척량하되
11:1 And there was given to me a measuring rod: and one said, Go up and take the measure
of the house of God, and the altar, and the worshippers in it.
11:1 And there was given me a reed like unto a rod: and the angel stood, saying, Rise, and measure the temple of God, and the altar, and them that worship therein.
11:2 성전 밖 마당은 척량하지 말고 그냥 두라 이것을 이방인에게 주었은즉 저희가
거룩한 성을 마흔 두 달 동안 짓밟으리라
11:2 But do not take the measure of the space outside the house; because it has been
given to the nations: and the holy town will be under their feet for forty-two months.
11:2 But the court which is without the temple leave out, and measure it not; for it is given unto the Gentiles: and the holy city shall they tread under foot forty and two months.
11:3 내가 나의 두 증인에게 권세를 주리니 저희가 굵은 베옷을 입고 일천 이백
육십 일을 예언하리라
11:3 And I will give orders to my two witnesses, and they will be prophets for a thousand,
two hundred and sixty days, clothed with haircloth.
11:3 And I will give power unto my two witnesses, and they shall prophesy a thousand two hundred and threescore days, clothed in sackcloth.
11:4 이는 이 땅의 주 앞에 섰는 두 감람나무와 두 촛대니
11:4 These are the two olive-trees and the two lights, which are before the Lord of the
earth.
11:4 These are the two olive trees, and the two candlesticks standing before the God of the earth.
11:5 만일 누구든지 저희를 해하고자 한즉 저희 입에서 불이 나서 그 원수를 소멸할지니
누구든지 해하려 하면 반드시 이와 같이 죽임을 당하리라
11:5 And if any man would do them damage, fire comes out of their mouth and puts an end
to those who are working against them: and if any man has a desire to do them damage,
in this way will he be put to death.
11:5 And if any man will hurt them, fire proceeds out of their mouth, and devours their enemies: and if any man will hurt them, he must in this manner be killed.
11:6 저희가 권세를 가지고 하늘을 닫아 그 예언을 하는 날 동안 비 오지 못하게
하고 또 권세를 가지고 물을 변하여 피 되게 하고 아무 때든지 원하는 대로 여러 가지
재앙으로 땅을 치리로다
11:6 These have the power to keep the heaven shut, so that there may be no rain in the
days when they are prophets: and they have power over the waters to make them into
blood, and to send every sort of disease on the earth as their pleasure is.
11:6 These have power to shut heaven, that it rain not in the days of their prophecy: and have power over waters to turn them to blood, and to strike the earth with all plagues, as often as they will.
11:7 저희가 그 증거를 마칠 때에 무저갱으로부터 올라오는 짐승이 저희로 더불어
전쟁을 일으켜 저희를 이기고 저희를 죽일 터인즉
11:7 And when they have come to the end of their witness, the beast which comes up out
of the great deep will make war on them and overcome them and put them to death.
11:7 And when they shall have finished their testimony, the beast that ascends out of the bottomless pit shall make war against them, and shall overcome them, and kill them.
11:8 저희 시체가 큰 성 길에 있으리니 그 성은 영적으로 하면 소돔이라고도 하고
애굽이라고도 하니 곧 저희 주께서 십자가에 못 박히신 곳이니라
11:8 And their dead bodies will be in the open street of the great town, which in the
spirit is named Sodom and Egypt, where their Lord was put to death on the cross.
11:8 And their dead bodies shall lie in the street of the great city, which spiritually is called Sodom and Egypt, where also our Lord was crucified.
11:9 백성들과 족속과 방언과 나라 중에서 사람들이 그 시체를 사흘 반 동안을
목도하며 무덤에 장사하지 못하게 하리로다
11:9 And the peoples and tribes and languages and nations will be looking on their dead
bodies three days and a half, and will not let their dead bodies be put in the earth.
11:9 And they of the people and families and tongues and nations shall see their dead bodies three days and an half, and shall not suffer their dead bodies to be put in graves.
11:10 이 두 선지자가 땅에 거하는 자들을 괴롭게 한 고로 땅에 거하는 자들이
저희의 죽음을 즐거워하고 기뻐하여 서로 예물을 보내리라 하더라
11:10 And those who are on the earth will have pleasure and delight over them; and they
will send offerings one to another because these two prophets gave great trouble
to all on the earth.
11:10 And they that dwell upon the earth shall rejoice over them, and make merry, and shall send gifts one to another; because these two prophets tormented them that dwelt on the earth.
11:11 삼 일 반 후에 하나님께로부터 생기가 저희 속에 들어가매 저희가 발로 일어서니
구경하는 자들이 크게 두려워하더라
11:11 And after three days and a half the breath of life from God went into them, and
they got up on their feet; and great fear came on those who saw them.
11:11 And after three days and an half the spirit (o. pneuma) of life from God entered into them, and they stood upon their feet; and great fear fell upon them which saw them.
11:12 하늘로부터 큰 음성이 있어 이리로 올라오라 함을 저희가 듣고 구름을 타고
하늘로 올라가니 저희 원수들도 구경하더라
11:12 And a great voice from heaven came to their ears, saying to them, Come up here.
And they went up into heaven in the cloud, and were seen by those desiring their
death.
11:12 And they heard a great voice from heaven saying unto them, Come up here. And they ascended up to heaven in a cloud; and their enemies beheld them.
11:13 그 시에 큰 지진이 나서 성 십분의 일이 무너지고 지진에 죽은 사람이 칠천이라
그 남은 자들이 두려워하여 영광을 하늘의 하나님께 돌리더라
11:13 And in that hour there was a great earth-shock and a tenth part of the town came
to destruction; and in the earth-shock seven thousand persons came to their end:
and the rest were in fear, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:13 And the same hour was there a great earthquake, and the tenth part of the city fell, and in the earthquake were slain of men seven thousand: and the remnant were affrighted, and gave glory to the God of heaven.
11:14 ○ 둘째 화는 지나갔으나 보라 세째 화가 속히 이르는도다
11:14 The second Trouble is past: see, the third Trouble comes quickly.
11:14 The second woe is past; and, behold, the third woe comes quickly.
11:15 ○ 일곱째 천사가 나팔을 불매 하늘에 큰 음성들이 나서 가로되 세상
나라가 우리 주와 그 그리스도의 나라가 되어 그가 세세토록 왕노릇하시리로다 하니
11:15 And at the sounding of the seventh angel there were great voices in heaven, saying,
The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord, and of his Christ,
and he will have rule for ever and ever.
11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever.
11:16 하나님 앞에 자기 보좌에 앉은 이십 사 장로들이 엎드려 얼굴을 대고 하나님께
경배하여
11:16 And the four and twenty rulers, who are seated before God on their high seats, went
down on their faces and gave worship to God, saying,
11:16 And the four and twenty elders, which sat before God on their seats, fell upon their faces, and worshipped God,
11:17 가로되 감사하옵나니 옛적에도 계셨고 시방도 계신 주 하나님 곧 전능하신
이여 친히 큰 권능을 잡으시고 왕노릇하시도다
11:17 We give you praise, O Lord God, Ruler of all, who is and who was; because you have
taken up your great power and are ruling your kingdom.
11:17 Saying, We give you thanks, O LORD God Almighty, which are, and were, and are to come; because you have taken to you your great power, and have reigned.
11:18 이방들이 분노하매 주의 진노가 임하여 죽은 자를 심판하시며 종
선지자들과 성도들과 또 무론대소하고 주의 이름을 경외하는 자들에게 상 주시며
또 땅을 망하게 하는 자들을 멸망시키실 때로소이다 하더라
11:18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time for the dead to
be judged, and the time of reward for your servants, the prophets, and for the saints,
and for those in whom is the fear of your name, small and great, and the time of
destruction for those who made the earth unclean.
11:18 And the nations were angry, and your wrath has come, and the time of the dead, that they should be judged, and that you should give reward unto your servants the prophets, and to the saints, and them that fear your name, small and great; and should destroy them which destroy the earth.
11:19 ○ 이에 하늘에 있는 하나님의 성전이 열리니 성전 안에 하나님의 언약궤가
보이며 또 번개와 음성들과 뇌성과 지진과 큰 우박이 있더라
11:19 And the house of God which is in heaven was open; and the ark of his agreement was
seen in his house, and there were flames and voices and thunders and an earth-shock
and a rain of ice.
11:19 And the temple of God was opened in heaven, and there was seen in his temple the ark of his testament: and there were lightnings, and voices, and thunderings, and an earthquake, and great hail.
