1:1 옛적에 선지자들로 여러 부분과 여러 모양으로 우리 조상들에게 말씀하신 하나님이
1:1 In times past the word of God came to our fathers through the prophets, in different
parts and in different ways;
1:1 God, who at several times and in divers manners spoke in time past unto
the fathers by the prophets,
1:2 이 모든 날 마지막에 아들로 우리에게 말씀하셨으니 이 아들을 만유의 후사로
세우시고 또 저로 말미암아 모든 세계를 지으셨느니라
1:2 But now, at the end of these days, it has come to us through his Son, to whom he
has given all things for a heritage, and through whom he made the order of the generations;
1:2 Has in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he has appointed
heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds;
1:3 이는 하나님의 영광의 광채시요 그 본체의 형상이시라 그의 능력의 말씀으로
만물을 붙드시며 죄를 정결케 하는 일을 하시고 높은 곳에 계신 위엄의 우편에 앉으셨느니라
1:3 Who, being the outshining of his glory, the true image of his substance, supporting
all things by the word of his power, having given himself as an offering making
clean from sins, took his seat at the right hand of God in heaven;
1:3 Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person,
and upholding all things by the word (o. rhema) of his power, when he had by
himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high:
1:4 저가 천사보다 얼마큼 뛰어남은 저희보다 더욱 아름다운 이름을 기업으로
얻으심이니
1:4 Having become by so much better than the angels, as the name which is his heritage
is more noble than theirs.
1:4 Being made so much better than the angels, as he has by inheritance obtained
a more excellent name than they.
1:5 하나님께서 어느 때에 천사 중 누구에게 네가 내 아들이라 오늘날 내가 너를
낳았다 하셨으며 또 다시 나는 그에게 아버지가 되고 그는 내게 아들이 되리라 하셨느뇨
1:5 To which of the angels did God say at any time, You are my Son, this day I have
given you being? or, I will be his Father, and he will be my Son?
1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, You are my Son, this
day have I begotten you? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall
be to me a Son?
1:6 또 맏아들을 이끌어 세상에 다시 들어오게 하실 때에 하나님의 모든 천사가
저에게 경배할지어다 말씀하시며
1:6 And again, when he is sending his only Son into the world, he says, Let all the
angels of God give him worship.
1:6 And again, when he brings in the First-Born into the world, he says,
And let all the angels of God worship him.
1:7 또 천사들에 관하여는 그는 그의 천사들을 바람으로 그의 사역자들을 불꽃으로
삼으시느니라 하셨으되
1:7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels winds, and his servants flames of
fire:
1:7 And of the angels he says, Who makes his angels spirits, (o. pneuma)
and his ministers a flame of fire.
1:8 아들에 관하여는 하나님이여 주의 보좌가 영영하며 주의 나라의 홀은 공평한
홀이니이다
1:8 But of the Son he says, Your seat of power, O God, is for ever and ever; and the
rod of your kingdom is a rod of righteousness.
1:8 But unto the Son he says, Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a
sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of your kingdom.
1:9 네가 의를 사랑하고 불법을 미워하였으니 그러므로 하나님 곧 너의 하나님이
즐거움의 기름을 네게 부어 네 동류들보다 승하게 하셨도다 하였고
1:9 You have been a lover of righteousness and a hater of evil; and so God, your God,
has put the oil of joy on your head more than on the heads of those who are with
you.
1:9 You have loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even
your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
1:10 또 주여 태초에 주께서 땅의 기초를 두셨으며 하늘도 주의 손으로 지으신
바라
1:10 You, Lord, at the first did put the earth on its base, and the heavens are the works
of your hands:
1:10 And, You, Lord, in the beginning have laid the foundation of the earth;
and the heavens are the works of yours hands:
1:11 그것들은 멸망할 것이나 오직 주는 영존할 것이요 그것들은 다 옷과 같이
낡아지리니
1:11 They will come to their end; but you are for ever; they will become old as a robe;
1:11 They shall perish; but you remain; and they all shall wax old as does
a garment;
1:12 의복처럼 갈아 입을 것이요 그것들이 옷과 같이 변할 것이나 주는 여전하여
연대가 다함이 없으리라 하였으나
1:12 They will be rolled up like a cloth, even like a robe, and they will be changed:
but you are the same and your years will have no end.
1:12 And as a vesture shall you fold them up, and they shall be changed:
but you are the same, and your years shall not fail.
1:13 어느 때에 천사 중 누구에게 내가 네 원수로 네 발등상 되게 하기까지 너는
내 우편에 앉았으라 하셨느뇨
1:13 But of which of the angels has he said at any time, Take your seat at my right hand
till I put all those who are against you under your feet?
1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand,
until I make yours enemies your footstool?
1:14 모든 천사들은 부리는 영으로서 구원 얻을 후사들을 위하여 섬기라고 보내심이
아니뇨
1:14 Are they not all helping spirits, who are sent out as servants to those whose heritage
will be salvation?
1:14 Are they not all ministering spirits, (o. pneuma) sent forth to minister
for them who shall be heirs of salvation?
2:1 그러므로 모든 들은 것을 우리가 더욱 간절히 삼갈지니 혹 흘러 떠내려 갈까
염려하노라
2:1 For this reason there is the more need for us to give attention to the things which
have come to our ears, for fear that by chance we might be slipping away.
2:1 Therefore we ought to give the more earn heed to the things which we
have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip.
2:2 천사들로 하신 말씀이 견고하게 되어 모든 범죄함과 순종치 아니함이 공변된
보응을 받았거든
2:2 Because if the word which came through the angels was fixed, and in the past every
evil act against God's orders was given its full punishment;
2:2 For if the word (o. logos) spoken by angels was steadfast, and every
transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward;
2:3 우리가 이같이 큰 구원을 등한히 여기면 어찌 피하리요 이 구원은 처음에
주로 말씀하신 바요 들은 자들이 우리에게 확증한 바니
2:3 What will come on us, if we do not give our minds to such a great salvation? a salvation
of which our fathers first had knowledge through the words of the Lord, and which
was made certain to us by those to whom his words came;
2:3 How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first
began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard
him;
2:4 하나님도 표적들과 기사들과 여러 가지 능력과 및 자기 뜻을 따라 성령의 나눠
주신 것으로써 저희와 함께 증거하셨느니라
2:4 And God was a witness with them, by signs and wonders, and by more than natural
powers, and by his distribution of the Holy Spirit at his pleasure.
2:4 God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with
divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) according to his
own will?
2:5 ○ 하나님이 우리의 말한 바 장차 오는 세상을 천사들에게는 복종케 하심이
아니라
2:5 For he did not make the angels rulers over the world to come, of which I am writing.
2:5 For unto the angels has he not put in subjection the world to come, whereof
we speak.
2:6 오직 누가 어디 증거하여 가로되 사람이 무엇이관대 주께서 저를 생각하시며
인자가 무엇이관대 주께서 저를 권고하시나이까
2:6 But a certain writer has given his witness, saying, What is man, that you keep him
in mind? what is the son of man, that you take him into account?
2:6 But one in a certain place testified, saying, What is man, that you are
mindful of him? or the son of man that you visit him?
2:7 저를 잠간 동안 천사보다 못하게 하시며 영광과 존귀로 관 씌우시며
2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you gave him a crown of glory and honour,
and made him ruler over all the works of your hands:
2:7 You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory
and honour, and did set him over the works of your hands:
2:8 만물을 그 발 아래 복종케 하셨느니라 하였으니 만물로 저에게 복종케 하셨은즉
복종치 않은 것이 하나도 없으나 지금 우리가 만물이 아직 저에게 복종한 것을 보지
못하고
2:8 You put all things under his feet. For in making man the ruler over all things,
God did not put anything outside his authority; though we do not see everything
under him now.
2:8 You have put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he
put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him.
But now we see not yet all things put under him.
2:9 오직 우리가 천사들보다 잠간 동안 못하게 하심을 입은 자 곧 죽음의 고난
받으심을 인하여 영광과 존귀로 관 쓰신 예수를 보니 이를 행하심은 하나님의 은혜로
말미암아 모든 사람을 위하여 죽음을 맛보려 하심이라
2:9 But we see him who was made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, crowned
with glory and honour, because he let himself be put to death so that by the grace
of God he might undergo death for all men.
2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the
suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God
should taste death for every man.
2:10 만물이 인하고 만물이 말미암은 자에게는 많은 아들을 이끌어 영광에 들어가게
하시는 일에 저희 구원의 주를 고난으로 말미암아 온전케 하심이 합당하도다
2:10 Because it was right for him, for whom and through whom all things have being, in
guiding his sons to glory, to make the captain of their salvation complete through
pain.
2:10 For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things,
in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect
through sufferings.
2:11 거룩하게 하시는 자와 거룩하게 함을 입은 자들이 다 하나에서 난지라 그러므로
형제라 부르시기를 부끄러워 아니하시고
2:11 For he who makes holy and those who are made holy are all of one family; and for
this reason it is no shame for him to give them the name of brothers,
2:11 For both he that santifies and they who are sanctified are all of one:
for which cause he is not ashamed to call them brethren,
2:12 이르시되 내가 주의 이름을 내 형제들에게 선포하고 내가 주를 교회 중에서
찬송하리라 하셨으며
2:12 Saying, I will give the knowledge of your name to my brothers, I will make a song
of praise to you before the church.
2:12 Saying, I will declare your name unto my brethren, in the midst of the
church will I sing praise unto you.
2:13 또 다시 내가 그를 의지하리라 하시고 또 다시 볼지어다 나와 및 하나님께서
내게 주신 자녀라 하셨으니
2:13 And again he says, I will put my faith in him. And again, See, I am here, and the
children which God has given to me.
2:13 And again, I will put my trust in him. And again, Behold I and the children
which God has given me.
2:14 자녀들은 혈육에 함께 속하였으매 그도 또한 한 모양으로 혈육에 함께 속하심은
사망으로 말미암아 사망의 세력을 잡은 자 곧 마귀를 없이 하시며
2:14 And because the children are flesh and blood, he took a body himself and became
like them; so that by his death he might put an end to him who had the power of
death, that is to say, the Evil One;
2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he
also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy
him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
2:15 또 죽기를 무서워하므로 일생에 매여 종 노릇 하는 모든 자들을 놓아 주려 하심이니
2:15 And let those who all their lives were in chains because of their fear of death,
go free.
2:15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject
to bondage.
2:16 이는 실로 천사들을 붙들어 주려 하심이 아니요 오직 아브라함의 자손을
붙들어 주려 하심이라
2:16 For, truly, he does not take on the life of angels, but that of the seed of Abraham.
2:16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him
the seed of Abraham.
2:17 그러므로 저가 범사에 형제들과 같이 되심이 마땅하도다 이는 하나님의 일에
자비하고 충성된 대제사장이 되어 백성의 죄를 구속하려 하심이라
2:17 Because of this it was necessary for him to be made like his brothers in every way,
so that he might be a high priest full of mercy and keeping faith in everything
to do with God, making offerings for the sins of the people.
2:17 Wherefore in all things it was essential for him to be made like unto
his brethren, that he might be a merciful and faithful high priest in things
pertaining to God, to make reconciliation for the sins of the people.
2:18 자기가 시험을 받아 고난을 당하셨은즉 시험 받는 자들을 능히 도우시느니라
2:18 For having been put to the test himself, he is able to give help to others when
they are tested.
2:18 For in that he himself has suffered being tempted, he is able to help
them that are tempted.
3:1 그러므로 함께 하늘의 부르심을 입은 거룩한 형제들아 우리의 믿는 도리의
사도시며 대제사장이신 예수를 깊이 생각하라
3:1 For this reason, holy brothers, marked out to have a part in heaven, give thought
to Jesus the representative and high priest of our faith;
3:1 Wherefore, holy brethren, partakers of the heavenly calling, consider
the Apostle and High Priest of our profession, Christ Jesus;
3:2 저가 자기를 세우신 이에게 충성하시기를 모세가 하나님의 온 집에서 한 것과
같으니
3:2 Who kept faith with God who gave him his place, even as Moses did in all his house.
3:2 Who was faithful to him that appointed him, as also Moses was faithful
in all his house.
3:3 저는 모세보다 더욱 영광을 받을 만한 것이 마치 집 지은 자가 그 집보다
더욱 존귀함 같으니라
3:3 And it was right for this man to have more honour than Moses, even as the builder
of a house has more honour than the house.
3:3 For this man was counted worthy of more glory than Moses, inasmuch as
he who has built the house has more honour than the house.
3:4 집마다 지은 이가 있으니 만물을 지으신 이는 하나님이시라
3:4 For every house has a builder; but the builder of all things is God.
3:4 For every house is built by some man; but he that built all things is
God.
3:5 또한 모세는 장래의 말할 것을 증거하기 위하여 하나님의 온 집에서 사환으로
충성하였고
3:5 And Moses certainly kept faith as a servant, in all his house, and as a witness
of those things which were to be said later;
3:5 And Moses verily was faithful in all his house, as a servant, for a testimony
of those things which were to be spoken after;
3:6 그리스도는 그의 집 맡은 아들로 충성하였으니 우리가 소망의 담대함과 자랑을
끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그의 집이라
3:6 But Christ as a son, over his house; whose house are we, if we keep our hearts fixed
in the glad and certain hope till the end.
3:6 But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold
fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end.
3:7 그러므로 성령이 이르신 바와 같이 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든
3:7 And so, as the Holy Spirit says, Today if you let his voice come to your ears,
3:7 Wherefore (as the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) says, To day if all of you
will hear his voice,
3:8 노하심을 격동하여 광야에서 시험하던 때와 같이 너희 마음을 강퍅케 하지
말라
3:8 Be not hard of heart, as when you made me angry, on the day of testing in the waste
land,
3:8 Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation
in the wilderness:
3:9 거기서 너희 열조가 나를 시험하여 증험하고 사십 년 동안에 나의 행사를 보았느니라
3:9 When your fathers put me to the test, and saw my works for forty years.
3:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years.
3:10 그러므로 내가 이 세대를 노하여 가로되 저희가 항상 마음이 미혹되어 내
길을 알지 못하는도다 하였고
3:10 So that I was angry with this generation, and I said, Their hearts are in error
at all times, and they have no knowledge of my ways;
3:10 Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always
go astray in their heart; and they have not known my ways.
3:11 내가 노하여 맹세한 바와 같이 저희는 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨다
하였으니
3:11 And being angry I made an oath, saying, They may not come into my rest.
3:11 So I swore in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.)
3:12 형제들아 너희가 삼가 혹 너희 중에 누가 믿지 아니하는 악심을 품고 살아
계신 하나님에게서 떨어질까 염려할 것이요
3:12 My brothers, take care that there is not by chance in any one of you an evil heart
without belief, turning away from the living God:
3:12 Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief,
in departing from the living God.
3:13 오직 오늘이라 일컫는 동안에 매일 피차 권면하여 너희 중에 누구든지 죄의
유혹으로 강퍅케 됨을 면하라
3:13 But give comfort to one another every day as long as it is still Today; so that
no one among you may be made hard by the deceit of sin:
3:13 But exhort one another daily, while it is called To day; lest any of
you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin.
3:14 우리가 시작할 때에 확실한 것을 끝까지 견고히 잡으면 그리스도와 함께
참예한 자가 되리라
3:14 For if we keep the substance of the faith which we had at the start, even till the
end, we have a part with Christ;
3:14 For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our
confidence steadfast unto the end;
3:15 성경에 일렀으되 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 노하심을 격동할 때와
같이 너희 마음을 강퍅케 하지 말라 하였으니
3:15 As it is said, Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of
heart, as when you made him angry.
3:15 While it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not
your hearts, as in the provocation.
3:16 듣고 격노케 하던 자가 누구뇨 모세를 좇아 애굽에서 나온 모든 이가 아니냐
3:16 Who made him angry when his voice came to them? was it not all those who came out
of Egypt with Moses?
3:16 For some, when they had heard, did provoke: nevertheless not all that
came out of Egypt by Moses.
3:17 또 하나님이 사십 년 동안에 누구에게 노하셨느뇨 범죄하여 그 시체가 광야에
엎드러진 자에게가 아니냐
3:17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? was it not with those who did evil,
who came to their deaths in the waste land?
3:17 But with whom was he grieved forty years? was it not with them that
had sinned, whose carcasses fell in the wilderness?
3:18 또 하나님이 누구에게 맹세하사 그의 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨느뇨
곧 순종치 아니하던 자에게가 아니냐
3:18 And to whom did he make an oath that they might not come into his rest? was it not
to those who went against his orders?
3:18 And to whom swore he that they should not enter into his rest, but to
them that believed not?
3:19 이로 보건대 저희가 믿지 아니하므로 능히 들어가지 못한 것이라
3:19 So we see that they were not able to go in because they had no belief.
3:19 So we see that they could not enter in because of unbelief.
4:1 그러므로 우리는 두려워할지니 그의 안식에 들어갈 약속이 남아 있을지라도
너희 중에 혹 미치지 못할 자가 있을까 함이라
4:1 Let us then, though we still have God's word that we may come into his rest, go
in fear that some of you may be unable to do so.
4:1 Let us therefore fear, lest, a promise being left us of entering into
his rest, any of you should seem to come short of it.
4:2 저희와 같이 우리도 복음 전함을 받은 자이나 그러나 그 들은 바 말씀이 저희에게
유익되지 못한 것은 듣는 자가 믿음을 화합지 아니함이라
4:2 And, truly, the good news came to us, even as it did to them; but the hearing of
the word did them no good, because they were not united in faith with the true hearers.
4:2 For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word
(o. logos) preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them
that heard it.
4:3 이미 믿는 우리들은 저 안식에 들어가는도다 그 말씀하신 바와 같으니 내가
노하여 맹세한 바와 같이 저희가 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하셨다 하였으나 세상을 창조할 때부터 그
일이 이루었느니라
4:3 For those of us who have belief come into his rest; even as he has said, As I said
in my oath when I was angry, They may not come into my rest: though the works were
done from the time of the making of the world.
4:3 For we which have believed do enter into rest, as he said, As I have
sworn in my wrath, if they shall enter into my rest: although the works were
finished from the foundation of the world.
4:4 제 칠 일에 관하여는 어디 이렇게 일렀으되 하나님은 제 칠 일에 그의 모든
일을 쉬셨다 하였으며
4:4 For in one place he has said of the seventh day, And God had rest from all his works
on the seventh day;
4:4 For he spoke in a certain place of the seventh day likewise, And God
did rest the seventh day from all his works.
4:5 또 다시 거기 저희가 내 안식에 들어오지 못하리라 하였으니
4:5 And in the same place he says again, They will not come into my rest.
4:5 And in this place again, If they shall enter into my rest.
4:6 그러면 거기 들어갈 자들이 남아 있거니와 복음 전함을 먼저 받은 자들은 순종치
아니함을 인하여 들어가지 못하였으므로
4:6 So that as it is clear that some have to go in, and that the first hearers of the
good news were not able to go in because they went against God's orders,
4:6 Seeing therefore it remains that some must enter therein, and they to
whom it was first preached entered not in because of unbelief:
4:7 오랜 후에 다윗의 글에 다시 어느 날을 정하여 오늘날이라고 미리 이같이
일렀으되 오늘날 너희가 그의 음성을 듣거든 너희 마음을 강퍅케 말라
하였나니
4:7 After a long time, again naming a certain day, he says in David, Today (as he had
said before), Today if you will let his voice come to your ears, be not hard of
heart,
4:7 Again, he limits a certain day, saying in David, To day, after so long
a time; as it is said, To day if all of you will hear his voice, harden not
your hearts.
4:8 만일 여호수아가 저희에게 안식을 주었더면 그 후에 다른 날을 말씀하지 아니하셨으리라
4:8 For if Joshua had given them rest, he would not have said anything about another
day.
4:8 For if Jesus had given them rest, then would he not afterward have spoken
of another day.
4:9 그런즉 안식할 때가 하나님의 백성에게 남아 있도다
4:9 So that there is still a Sabbath-keeping for the people of God.
4:9 There remains therefore a rest to the people of God.
4:10 이미 그의 안식에 들어간 자는 하나님이 자기 일을 쉬심과 같이 자기 일을
쉬느니라
4:10 For the man who comes into his rest has had rest from his works, as God did from
his.
4:10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also has ceased from his own
works, as God did from his.
4:11 그러므로 우리가 저 안식에 들어가기를 힘쓸지니 이는 누구든지 저 순종치
아니하는 본에 빠지지 않게 하려 함이라
4:11 Because of this, let us have a strong desire to come into that rest, and let no
one go after the example of those who went against God's orders.
4:11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after
the same example of unbelief.
4:12 하나님의 말씀은 살았고 운동력이 있어 좌우에 날선 어떤 검보다도 예리하여
혼과 영과 및 관절과 골수를 찔러 쪼개기까지 하며 또 마음의 생각과 뜻을 감찰하나니
4:12 For the word of God is living and full of power, and is sharper than any two-edged
sword, cutting through and making a division even of the soul and the spirit, the
bones and the muscles, and quick to see the thoughts and purposes of the heart.
4:12 For the word (o. logos) of God is active, and powerful, and sharper
than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and
spirit, (o. pneuma) and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the
thoughts and intents of the heart.
4:13 지으신 것이 하나라도 그 앞에 나타나지 않음이 없고 오직 만물이 우리를
상관하시는 자의 눈 앞에 벌거벗은 것 같이 드러나느니라
4:13 And there is nothing made which is not completely clear to him; there is nothing
covered, but all things are open to the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but
all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
(o. logos)
4:14 ○ 그러므로 우리에게 큰 대제사장이 있으니 승천하신 자 곧 하나님 아들
예수시라 우리가 믿는 도리를 굳게 잡을지어다
4:14 Having then a great high priest, who has made his way through the heavens, even
Jesus the Son of God, let us be strong in our faith.
4:14 Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the
heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.
4:15 우리에게 있는 대제사장은 우리 연약함을 체휼하지 아니하는 자가 아니요
모든 일에 우리와 한결 같이 시험을 받은 자로되 죄는 없으시니라
4:15 For we have not a high priest who is not able to be touched by the feelings of our
feeble flesh; but we have one who has been tested in all points as we ourselves
are tested, but without sin.
4:15 For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling
of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like we are, yet without sin.
4:16 그러므로 우리가 긍휼하심을 받고 때를 따라 돕는 은혜를 얻기 위하여 은혜의
보좌 앞에 담대히 나아갈 것이니라
4:16 Then let us come near to the seat of grace without fear, so that mercy may be given
to us, and we may get grace for our help in time of need.
4:16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain
mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
5:1 대제사장마다 사람 가운데서 취한 자이므로 하나님께 속한 일에 사람을 위하여
예물과 속죄하는 제사를 드리게 하나니
5:1 Every high priest who is taken from among men is given his position to take care
of the interests of men in those things which have to do with God, so that he may
make offerings for sins.
5:1 For every high priest taken from among men is ordained for men in things
pertaining to God, that he may offer both gifts and sacrifices for sins:
5:2 저가 무식하고 미혹한 자를 능히 용납할 수 있는 것은 자기도 연약에 싸여
있음이니라
5:2 He is able to have feeling for those who have no knowledge and for those who are
wandering from the true way, because he himself is feeble;
5:2 Who can have compassion on the ignorant, and on them that are out of
the way; for that he himself also is compassed with infirmity.
5:3 이러므로 백성을 위하여 속죄제를 드림과 같이 또한 자기를 위하여 드리는
것이 마땅하니라
5:3 And being feeble, he has to make sin-offerings for himself as well as for the people.
5:3 And by reason hereof he ought, as for the people, so also for himself,
to offer for sins.
5:4 이 존귀는 아무나 스스로 취하지 못하고 오직 아론과 같이 하나님의 부르심을
입은 자라야 할 것이니라
5:4 And no man who is not given authority by God, as Aaron was, takes this honour for
himself.
5:4 And no man takes this honour unto himself, but he that is called of God,
as was Aaron.
5:5 또한 이와 같이 그리스도께서 대제사장 되심도 스스로 영광을 취하심이 아니요
오직 말씀하신 이가 저더러 이르시되 너는 내 아들이니 오늘날 내가 너를 낳았다
하셨고
5:5 In the same way Christ did not take for himself the glory of being made a high priest,
but was given it by him who said, You are my Son, this day I have given you being:
5:5 So also Christ glorified not himself to be made an high priest; but he
that said unto him, You are my Son, to day have I begotten you.
5:6 또한 이와 같이 다른 데 말씀하시되 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇는
제사장이라 하셨으니
5:6 As he says in another place, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
5:6 As he says also in another place, You are a priest for ever after the
order of Melchisedec.
5:7 그는 육체에 계실 때에 자기를 죽음에서 능히 구원하실 이에게 심한 통곡과
눈물로 간구와 소원을 올렸고 그의 경외하심을 인하여 들으심을 얻었느니라
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, having sent up prayers and requests with strong crying
and weeping to him who was able to give him salvation from death, had his prayer
answered because of his fear of God.
5:7 Who in the days of his flesh, when he had offered up prayers and supplications
with strong crying and tears unto him that was able to save him from death,
and was heard in that he feared;
5:8 그가 아들이시라도 받으신 고난으로 순종함을 배워서
5:8 And though he was a Son, through the pain which he underwent, the knowledge came
to him of what it was to be under God's orders;
5:8 Though he were a Son, yet learned he obedience by the things which he
suffered;
5:9 온전하게 되었은즉 자기를 순종하는 모든 자에게 영원한 구원의 근원이 되시고
5:9 And when he had been made complete, he became the giver of eternal salvation to
all those who are under his orders;
5:9 And being made perfect, he became the author of eternal salvation unto
all them that obey him;
5:10 하나님께 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇은 대제사장이라 칭하심을 받았느니라
5:10 Being named by God a high priest of the order of Melchizedek.
5:10 Called of God an high priest after the order of Melchisedec.
5:11 ○ 멜기세덱에 관하여는 우리가 할 말이 많으나 너희의 듣는 것이 둔하므로
해석하기 어려우니라
5:11 Of whom we have much to say which it is hard to make clear, because you are slow
of hearing.
5:11 Of whom we have (o. logos) many things to say, (o. logos) and hard to
be uttered, seeing all of you are dull of hearing.
5:12 때가 오래므로 너희가 마땅히 선생이 될 터인데 너희가 다시 하나님의 말씀의
초보가 무엇인지 누구에게 가르침을 받아야 할 것이니 젖이나 먹고 단단한 식물을
못 먹을 자가 되었도다
5:12 And though by this time it would be right for you to be teachers, you still have
need of someone to give you teaching about the first simple rules of God's revelation;
you have become like babies who have need of milk, and not of solid food.
5:12 For when for the time all of you ought to be teachers, all of you have
need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of
God; and are become such as have need of milk, and not of strong food.
5:13 대저 젖을 먹는 자마다 어린 아이니 의의 말씀을 경험하지 못한 자요
5:13 For everyone who takes milk is without experience of the word of righteousness:
he is a child.
5:13 For every one that uses milk is unskillful in the word (o. logos) of
righteousness: for he is a babe.
5:14 단단한 식물은 장성한 자의 것이니 저희는 지각을 사용하므로 연단을 받아
선악을 분변하는 자들이니라
5:14 But solid food is for men of full growth, even for those whose senses are trained
by use to see what is good and what is evil.
5:14 But strong food belongs to them that are of full age, even those who
by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil.
6:1 그러므로 우리가 그리스도 도의 초보를 버리고 죽은 행실을 회개함과 하나님께
대한 신앙과
6:1 For this reason let us go on from the first things about Christ to full growth;
not building again that on which it is based, that is, the turning of the heart
from dead works, and faith in God,
6:1 Therefore leaving the principles of the doctrine (o. logos) of Christ,
let us go on unto perfection; not laying again the foundation of repentance
from dead works, and of faith toward God,
6:2 세례들과 안수와 죽은 자의 부활과 영원한 심판에 관한 교훈의 터를 다시
닦지 말고 완전한 데 나아갈지니라
6:2 The teaching of baptisms, and of the putting on of hands, and of the future life
of the dead, and of the judging on the last day.
6:2 Of the doctrine of baptisms, and of laying on of hands, and of resurrection
of the dead, and of eternal judgment.
6:3 하나님께서 허락하시면 우리가 이것을 하리라
6:3 Now we will do this, if God lets us.
6:3 And this will we do, if God permit.
6:4 한 번 비췸을 얻고 하늘의 은사를 맛보고 성령에 참예한 바 되고
6:4 As for those who at one time saw the light, tasting the good things from heaven,
and having their part in the Holy Spirit,
6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted
of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma)
6:5 하나님의 선한 말씀과 내세의 능력을 맛보고
6:5 With knowledge of the good word of God, and of the powers of the coming time,
6:5 And have tasted the good word (o. rhema) of God, and the powers of the
world to come,
6:6 타락한 자들은 다시 새롭게 하여 회개케 할 수 없나니 이는 자기가 하나님의
아들을 다시 십자가에 못 박아 현저히 욕을 보임이라
6:6 And then let themselves be turned away, it is not possible for their hearts to be
made new a second time; because they themselves put the Son of God on the cross
again, openly shaming him.
6:6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing
they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
6:7 땅이 그 위에 자주 내리는 비를 흡수하여 밭 가는 자들의 쓰기에 합당한 채소를
내면 하나님께 복을 받고
6:7 For a land, drinking in the frequent rain and producing good plants for those for
whom it is worked, has a blessing from God:
6:7 For the earth which drinks in the rain that comes often upon it, and
brings forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receives blessing from
God:
6:8 만일 가시와 엉겅퀴를 내면 버림을 당하고 저주함에 가까와 그 마지막은 불사름이
되리라
6:8 But if it sends up thorns and evil plants, it is of no use and is ready to be cursed;
its only end is to be burned.
6:8 But that which bears thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto
cursing; whose end is to be burned.
6:9 ○ 사랑하는 자들아 우리가 이같이 말하나 너희에게는 이보다 나은 것과 구원에
가까운 것을 확신하노라
6:9 But, my loved ones, though we say this, we are certain that you have better things
in you, things which go with salvation;
6:9 But, beloved, we are persuaded better things of you, and things that
accompany salvation, though we thus speak.
6:10 하나님이 불의치 아니하사 너희 행위와 그의 이름을 위하여 나타낸 사랑으로
이미 성도를 섬긴 것과 이제도 섬기는 것을 잊어버리지 아니하시느니라
6:10 For God is true, and will not put away from him the memory of your work and of your
love for his name, in the help which you gave and still give to the saints.
6:10 For God is not unrighteous to forget your work and labour of love, (o.
agape) which all of you have showed toward his name, in that all of you have
ministered to the saints, and do minister.
6:11 우리가 간절히 원하는 것은 너희 각 사람이 동일한 부지런을 나타내어 끝까지
소망의 풍성함에 이르러
6:11 And it is our desire that you may all keep the same high purpose in certain hope
to the end:
6:11 And we desire that every one of you do show the same diligence to the
full assurance of hope unto the end:
6:12 게으르지 아니하고 믿음과 오래 참음으로 말미암아 약속들을 기업으로 받는
자들을 본받는 자 되게 하려는 것이니라
6:12 So that you may not be slow in heart, but may take as your example those to whom
God has given their heritage, because of their faith and their long waiting.
6:12 That all of you be not slothful, but followers of them who through faith
and patience inherit the promises.
6:13 ○ 하나님이 아브라함에게 약속하실 때에 가리켜 맹세할 자가 자기보다 더 큰
이가 없으므로 자기를 가리켜 맹세하여
6:13 For when God made his oath to Abraham, because there was no greater oath, he made
it by himself,
6:13 For when God made promise to Abraham, because he could swear by no greater,
he swore by himself,
6:14 가라사대 내가 반드시 너를 복 주고 복 주며 너를 번성케 하고 번성케 하리라
하셨더니
6:14 Saying, Be certain that I will give you my blessing, and make your numbers very
great.
6:14 Saying, Surely blessing I will bless you, and multiplying I will multiply
you.
6:15 저가 이같이 오래 참아 약속을 받았느니라
6:15 And so, when he had been waiting calmly for a long time, God's word to him was put
into effect.
6:15 And so, after he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise.
6:16 사람들은 자기보다 더 큰 자를 가리켜 맹세하나니 맹세는 저희 모든 다투는
일에 최후 확정이니라
6:16 For men at all times make their oaths by what is greater; and any argument is ended
by the decision of the oath.
6:16 For men verily swear by the greater: and an oath for confirmation is
to them an end of all strife.
6:17 하나님은 약속을 기업으로 받는 자들에게 그 뜻이 변치 아니함을 충분히
나타내시려고 그 일에 맹세로 보증하셨나니
6:17 So that when it was God's desire to make it specially clear to those who by his
word were to have the heritage, that his purpose was fixed, he made it more certain
with an oath;
6:17 Wherein God, willing more abundantly to show unto the heirs of promise
the immutability of his counsel, confirmed it by an oath:
6:18 이는 하나님이 거짓말을 하실 수 없는 이 두 가지 변치 못할 사실을 인하여
앞에 있는 소망을 얻으려고 피하여 가는 우리로 큰 안위를 받게 하려 하심이라
6:18 So that we, who have gone in flight from danger to the hope which has been put before
us, may have a strong comfort in two unchanging things, in which it is not possible
for God to be false;
6:18 That by two immutable things, in which it was impossible for God to
lie, we might have a strong consolation, who have fled for refuge to lay hold
upon the hope set before us:
6:19 우리가 이 소망이 있는 것은 영혼의 닻 같아서 튼튼하고 견고하여 휘장 안에
들어가나니
6:19 And this hope is like a strong band for our souls, fixed and certain, and going
in to that which is inside the veil;
6:19 Which hope we have as an anchor of the soul, both sure and steadfast,
and which enters into that within the veil;
6:20 그리로 앞서 가신 예수께서 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇아 영원히 대제사장이 되어
우리를 위하여 들어가셨느니라
6:20 Where Jesus has gone before us, as a high priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
6:20 Where the forerunner is for us entered, even Jesus, made an high priest
for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7:1 이 멜기세덱은 살렘 왕이요 지극히 높으신 하나님의 제사장이라 여러 임금을
쳐서 죽이고 돌아오는 아브라함을 만나 복을 빈 자라
7:1 For this Melchizedek, the king of Salem, a priest of the Most High God, who gave
Abraham his blessing, meeting him when he came back after putting the kings to death,
7:1 For this Melchisedec, king of Salem, priest of the most high God, who
met Abraham returning from the slaughter of the kings, and blessed him;
7:2 아브라함이 일체 십분의 일을 그에게 나눠 주니라 그 이름을 번역한 즉 첫째의
의의 왕이요 또 살렘 왕이니 곧 평강의 왕이요
7:2 And to whom Abraham gave a tenth part of everything which he had, being first named
King of righteousness, and then in addition, King of Salem, that is to say, King
of peace;
7:2 To whom also Abraham gave a tenth part of all; first being by interpretation
King of righteousness, and after that also King of Salem, which is, King of
peace;
7:3 아비도 없고 어미도 없고 족보도 없고 시작한 날도 없고 생명의 끝도 없어
하나님 아들과 방불하여 항상 제사장으로 있느니라
7:3 Being without father or mother, or family, having no birth or end to his life, being
made like the Son of God, is a priest for ever.
7:3 Without father, without mother, without descent, having neither beginning
of days, nor end of life; but made like unto the Son of God; abides a priest
continually.
7:4 ○ 이 사람의 어떻게 높은 것을 생각하라 조상 아브라함이 노략물 중 좋은
것으로 십분의 일을 저에게 주었느니라
7:4 Now see how great this man was, to whom our father Abraham gave a tenth part of
what he had got in the fight.
7:4 Now consider how great this man was, unto whom even the patriarch Abraham
gave the tenth of the spoils.
7:5 레위의 아들들 가운데 제사장의 직분을 받는 자들이 율법을 좇아 아브라함의
허리에서 난 자라도 자기 형제인 백성에게서 십분의 일을 취하라는 명을 가졌으나
7:5 And it is true that by the law, those of the sons of Levi who have the position
of priests may take a tenth part of the people's goods; that is to say, they take
it from their brothers though these are the sons of Abraham.
7:5 And verily they that are of the sons of Levi, who receive the office
of the priesthood, have a commandment to take tithes of the people according
to the law, that is, of their brethren, though they come out of the loins of
Abraham:
7:6 레위 족보에 들지 아니한 멜기세덱은 아브라함에게서 십분의 일을 취하고
그 얻은 자를 위하여 복을 빌었나니
7:6 But this man, who was not of their family, took the tenth from Abraham, and gave
a blessing to him to whom God had given his undertaking.
7:6 But he whose descent is not counted from them received tithes of Abraham,
and blessed him that had the promises.
7:7 폐일언하고 낮은 자가 높은 자에게 복 빎을 받느니라
7:7 But there is no doubt that the less gets his blessing from the greater.
7:7 And without all contradiction the less is blessed of the better.
7:8 또 여기는 죽을 자들이 십분의 일을 받으나 저기는 산다고 증거를 얻은 자가
받았느니라
7:8 Now at the present time, men over whom death has power take the tenth; but then
it was taken by one of whom it is witnessed that he is living.
7:8 And here men that die receive tithes; but there he receives them, of
whom it is witnessed that he lives.
7:9 또한 십분의 일을 받는 레위도 아브라함으로 말미암아 십분의 일을 바쳤다
할 수 있나니
7:9 And we may say that in Abraham, even Levi, who has a right to take the tenth part,
gave it;
7:9 And as I may so say, Levi also, who receives tithes, paid tithes in Abraham.
7:10 이는 멜기세덱이 아브라함을 만날 때에 레위는 아직 자기 조상의 허리에
있었음이니라
7:10 Because he was still in his father's body when Melchizedek came to him.
7:10 For he was yet in the loins of his father, when Melchisedec met him.
7:11 ○ 레위 계통의 제사 직분으로 말미암아 온전함을 얻을 수 있었으면{백성이
그 아래서 율법을 받았으니} 어찌하여 아론의 반차를 좇지 않고 멜기세덱의 반차를
좇는 별다른 한 제사장을 세울 필요가 있느뇨
7:11 Now if it was possible for things to be made complete through the priests of the
house of Levi (for the law was given to the people in connection with them), what
need was there for another priest who was of the order of Melchizedek and not of
the order of Aaron?
7:11 If therefore perfection were by the Levitical priesthood, (for under
it the people received the law,) what further need was there that another priest
should rise after the order of Melchisedec, and not be called after the order
of Aaron?
7:12 제사 직분이 변역한즉 율법도 반드시 변역하리니
7:12 Because if the priests are changed, it is necessary to make a change in the law.
7:12 For the priesthood being changed, there is made of necessity a change
also of the law.
7:13 이것은 한 사람도 제단 일을 받들지 않는 다른 지파에 속한 자를 가리켜 말한
것이라
7:13 For he of whom these things are said comes of another tribe, of which no man has
ever made offerings at the altar.
7:13 For he of whom these things are spoken pertains to another tribe, of
which no man gave attendance at the altar.
7:14 우리 주께서 유다로 좇아 나신 것이 분명하도다 이 지파에는 모세가 제사장들에
관하여 말한 것이 하나도 없고
7:14 Because it is clear that our Lord comes out of Judah, and Moses said nothing about
priests from that tribe.
7:14 For it is evident that our Lord sprang out of Juda; of which tribe Moses
spoke nothing concerning priesthood.
7:15 멜기세덱과 같은 별다른 한 제사장이 일어난 것을 보니 더욱 분명하도다
7:15 And this is even more clear if a second priest has come up who is like Melchizedek,
7:15 And it is yet far more evident: for that after the embodiment of Melchisedec
there arises another priest,
7:16 그는 육체에 상관된 계명의 법을 좇지 아니하고 오직 무궁한 생명의 능력을
좇아 된 것이니
7:16 That is to say, not made by a law based on the flesh, but by the power of a life
without end:
7:16 Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the
power of an endless life.
7:17 증거하기를 네가 영원히 멜기세덱의 반차를 좇는 제사장이라 하였도다
7:17 For it has been witnessed of him, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.
7:17 For he testifies, You are a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec.
7:18 전엣 계명이 연약하며 무익하므로 폐하고
7:18 So the law which went before is put on one side, because it was feeble and without
profit.
7:18 For there is verily a disannulling of the commandment going before for
the weakness and unprofitableness thereof.
7:19 {율법은 아무 것도 온전케 못할지라}이에 더 좋은 소망이 생기니 이것으로
우리가 하나님께 가까이 가느니라
7:19 (Because the law made nothing complete), and in its place there is a better hope,
through which we come near to God.
7:19 For the law made nothing perfect, but the bringing in of a better hope
did; by the which we draw nigh unto God.
7:20 또 예수께서 제사장 된 것은 맹세 없이 된 것이 아니니
7:20 And as this is not without the taking of an oath
7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:
7:21 {저희는 맹세 없이 제사장이 되었으되 오직 예수는 자기에게 말씀하신 자로
말미암아 맹세로 되신 것이라 주께서 맹세하시고 뉘우치지 아니하시리니 네가 영원히
제사장이라 하셨도다}
7:21 (For those were made priests without an oath, but this one was made a priest with
an oath by him who says of him, The Lord gave his oath, which he will not take back,
that you are a priest for ever);
7:21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath
by him that said unto him, The Lord swore and will not repent, You are a priest
for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)
7:22 이와 같이 예수는 더 좋은 언약의 보증이 되셨느니라
7:22 By so much is it a better agreement which we have through Jesus.
7:22 By so much was Jesus made a guarantor of a better testament.
7:23 저희 제사장 된 자의 수효가 많은 것은 죽음을 인하여 항상 있지 못함이로되
7:23 And it is true that there have been a great number of those priests, because death
does not let them go on for ever;
7:23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to
continue by reason of death:
7:24 예수는 영원히 계시므로 그 제사 직분도 갈리지 아니하나니
7:24 But this priest, because his life goes on for ever, is unchanging.
7:24 But this man, because he continues ever, has an unchangeable priesthood.
7:25 그러므로 자기를 힘입어 하나님께 나아가는 자들을 온전히 구원하실 수 있으니
이는 그가 항상 살아서 저희를 위하여 간구하심이니라
7:25 So that he is fully able to be the saviour of all who come to God through him, because
he is ever living to make prayer to God for them.
7:25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto
God by him, seeing he ever lives to make intercession for them.
7:26 ○ 이러한 대제사장은 우리에게 합당하니 거룩하고 악이 없고 더러움이 없고
죄인에게서 떠나 계시고 하늘보다 높이 되신 자라
7:26 It was right for us to have such a high priest, one who is holy and without evil,
doing no wrong, having no part with sinners, and made higher than the heavens:
7:26 For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled,
separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens;
7:27 저가 저 대제사장들이 먼저 자기 죄를 위하고 다음에 백성의 죄를 위하여
날마다 제사 드리는 것과 같이 할 필요가 없으니 이는 저가 단번에 자기를 드려 이루셨음이니라
7:27 Who has no need to make offerings for sins every day, like those high priests, first
for himself, and then for the people; because he did this once and for ever when
he made an offering of himself.
7:27 Who needs not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first
for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered
up himself.
7:28 율법은 약점을 가진 사람들을 제사장으로 세웠거니와 율법 후에 하신 맹세의
말씀은 영원히 온전케 되신 아들을 세우셨느니라
7:28 The law makes high priests of men who are feeble; but the word of the oath, which
was made after the law, gives that position to a Son, in whom all good is for ever
complete.
7:28 For the law makes men high priests which have infirmity; but the word
(o. logos) of the oath, which was since the law, makes the Son, who is consecrated
for evermore.
8:1 이제 하는 말의 중요한 것은 이러한 대제사장이 우리에게 있는 것이라 그가
하늘에서 위엄의 보좌 우편에 앉으셨으니
8:1 Now of the things we are saying this is the chief point: We have such a high priest,
who has taken his place at the right hand of God's high seat of glory in heaven,
8:1 Now of the things which we have spoken this is the sum: We have such
an high priest, who is set on the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in
the heavens;
8:2 성소와 참 장막에 부리는 자라 이 장막은 주께서 베푸신 것이요 사람이 한
것이 아니니라
8:2 As a servant of the holy things and of the true Tent, which was put up by God, not
by man.
8:2 A minister of the sanctuary, and of the true tabernacle, which the Lord
pitched, and not man.
8:3 대제사장마다 예물과 제사 드림을 위하여 세운 자니 이러므로 저도 무슨 드릴
것이 있어야 할지니라
8:3 Now every high priest is given authority to take to God the things which are given
and to make offerings; so that it is necessary for this man, like them, to have
something for an offering.
8:3 For every high priest is ordained to offer gifts and sacrifices: wherefore
it is of necessity that this man have somewhat also to offer.
8:4 예수께서 만일 땅에 계셨더면 제사장이 되지 아니하셨을 것이니 이는 율법을
좇아 예물을 드리는 제사장이 있음이라
8:4 If he had been on earth he would not have been a priest at all, because there are
other priests who make the offerings ordered by the law;
8:4 For if he were on earth, he should not be a priest, seeing that there
are priests that offer gifts according to the law:
8:5 저희가 섬기는 것은 하늘에 있는 것의 모형과 그림자라 모세가 장막을 지으려
할 때에 지시하심을 얻음과 같으니 가라사대 삼가 모든 것을 산에서 네게 보이던
본을 좇아 지으라 하셨느니라
8:5 Being servants of that which is a copy and an image of the things in heaven, as
Moses, when he was about to make the Tent, had special orders from God: for, See,
he said, that you make everything like the design which you saw in the mountain.
8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was
admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, says he,
that you make all things according to the pattern showed to you in the mount.
8:6 그러나 이제 그가 더 아름다운 직분을 얻으셨으니 이는 더 좋은 약속으로
세우신 더 좋은 언약의 중보시라
8:6 But now his position as priest is higher. because through him God has made a better
agreement with man, based on the giving of better things.
8:6 But now has he obtained a more excellent ministry, by how much also he
is the mediator of a better covenant, which was established upon better promises.
8:7 저 첫 언약이 무흠하였더면 둘째 것을 요구할 일이 없었으려니와
8:7 For if that first agreement had been as good as possible, there would have been
no place for a second.
8:7 For if that first covenant had been faultless, then should no place have
been sought for the second.
8:8 저희를 허물하여 일렀으되 주께서 가라사대 볼지어다 날이 이르리니 내가
이스라엘 집과 유다 집으로 새 언약을 세우리라
8:8 For, protesting against them, he says, See, the days are coming when I will make
a new agreement with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah;
8:8 For finding fault with them, he says, Behold, the days come, says the
Lord, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the
house of Judah:
8:9 또 주께서 가라사대 내가 저희 열조들의 손을 잡고 애굽 땅에서 인도하여
내던 날에 저희와 세운 언약과 같지 아니하도다 저희는 내 언약 안에 머물러 있지
아니하므로 내가 저희를 돌아보지 아니하였노라
8:9 Not like the agreement which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand,
to be their guide out of the land of Egypt; for they did not keep the agreement
with me, and I gave them up, says the Lord.
8:9 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day
when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt; because
they continued not in my covenant, and I regarded them not, says the Lord.
8:10 또 주께서 가라사대 그 날 후에 내가 이스라엘 집으로 세울 언약이 이것이니
내 법을 저희 생각에 두고 저희 마음에 이것을 기록하리라 나는 저희에게 하나님이
되고 저희는 내게 백성이 되리라
8:10 For this is the agreement which I will make with the people of Israel after those
days: I will put my laws into their minds, writing them in their hearts: and I will
be their God, and they will be my people:
8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after
those days, says the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind, and write them
in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people:
8:11 또 각각 자기 나라 사람과 각각 자기 형제를 가르쳐 이르기를 주를 알라
하지 아니할 것은 저희가 작은 자로부터 큰 자까지 다 나를 앎이니라
8:11 And there will be no need for every man to be teaching his brother, or his neighbour,
saying, This is the knowledge of the Lord: for they will all have knowledge of me,
great and small.
8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his
brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the least to the
greatest.
8:12 내가 저희 불의를 긍휼히 여기고 저희 죄를 다시 기억하지 아니하리라
하셨느니라
8:12 And I will have mercy on their evil-doing, and I will not keep their sins in mind.
8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and
their iniquities will I remember no more.
8:13 새 언약이라 말씀하셨으매 첫 것은 낡아지게 하신 것이니 낡아지고 쇠하는
것은 없어져 가는 것이니라
8:13 When he says, A new agreement, he has made the first agreement old. But anything
which is getting old and past use will not be seen much longer.
8:13 In that he says, A new covenant, he has made the first old. Now that
which decays and waxs old is ready to vanish away.
9:1 첫 언약에도 섬기는 예법과 세상에 속한 성소가 있더라
9:1 Now the first agreement had its rules of worship, and a holy order.
9:1 Then verily the first covenant had also ordinances of divine service,
and a worldly sanctuary.
9:2 예비한 첫 장막이 있고 그 안에 등대와 상과 진설병이 있으니 이는 성소라
일컫고
9:2 For the first Tent was made ready, having in it the vessels for the lights and the
table and the ordering of the bread; and this is named the holy place.
9:2 For there was a tabernacle made; the first, wherein was the candlestick,
and the table, and the showbread; which is called the sanctuary.
9:3 또 둘째 휘장 뒤에 있는 장막을 지성소라 일컫나니
9:3 And inside the second veil was the place which is named the Holy of holies;
9:3 And after the second veil, the tabernacle which is called the Holiest
of all;
9:4 금 향로와 사면을 금으로 싼 언약궤가 있고 그 안에 만나를 담은 금 항아리와
아론의 싹 난 지팡이와 언약의 비석들이 있고
9:4 Having a vessel of gold in it for burning perfumes, and the ark of the agreement,
which was covered with gold and which had in it a pot made of gold for the manna,
and Aaron's rod which put out buds, and the stones with the writing of the agreement;
9:4 Which had the golden censer, and the ark of the covenant overlaid round
about with gold, wherein was the golden pot that had manna, and Aaron's rod
that budded, and the tables of the covenant;
9:5 그 위에 속죄소를 덮는 영광의 그룹들이 있으니 이것들에 관하여는 이제 낱낱이
말할 수 없노라
9:5 And over it were the winged ones of glory with their wings covering the mercy-seat;
about which it is not possible now to say anything in detail.
9:5 And over it the cherubims of glory shadowing the mercy seat; of which
we cannot now speak particularly.
9:6 이 모든 것을 이같이 예비하였으니 제사장들이 항상 첫 장막에 들어가 섬기는
예를 행하고
9:6 Now while these things were in existence, the priests went into the first Tent at
all times, for prayer and the making of offerings.
9:6 Now when these things were thus ordained, the priests went always into
the first tabernacle, accomplishing the service of God.
9:7 오직 둘째 장막은 대제사장이 홀로 일 년 일 차씩 들어가되 피 없이는 아니하나니
이 피는 자기와 백성의 허물을 위하여 드리는 것이라
9:7 But only the high priest went into the second, once a year, not without making an
offering of blood for himself and for the errors of the people:
9:7 But into the second went the high priest alone once every year, not without
blood, which he offered for himself, and for the errors of the people:
9:8 성령이 이로써 보이신 것은 첫 장막이 서 있을 동안에 성소에 들어가는 길이
아직 나타나지 아니한 것이라
9:8 The Holy Spirit witnessing by this that the way into the holy place had not at that
time been made open, while the first Tent was still in being;
9:8 The Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) this signifying, that the way into the holiest
of all was not yet made manifest, while the first tabernacle was yet standing:
9:9 이 장막은 현재까지의 비유니 이에 의지하여 드리는 예물과 제사가 섬기는
자로 그 양심상으로 온전케 할 수 없나니
9:9 And this is an image of the present time; when the offerings which are given are
not able to make the heart of the worshipper completely clean,
9:9 Which was a figure for the time then present, in which were offered both
gifts and sacrifices, that could not make him that did the service perfect,
as pertaining to the conscience;
9:10 이런 것은 먹고 마시는 것과 여러 가지 씻는 것과 함께 육체의 예법만 되어
개혁할 때까지 맡겨 둔 것이니라
9:10 Because they are only rules of the flesh, of meats and drinks and washings, which
have their place till the time comes when things will be put right.
9:10 Which stood only in meats and drinks, and divers washings, and carnal
ordinances, imposed on them until the time of reformation.
9:11 ○ 그리스도께서 장래 좋은 일의 대제사장으로 오사 손으로 짓지 아니한
곧 이 창조에 속하지 아니한 더 크고 온전한 장막으로 말미암아
9:11 But now Christ has come as the high priest of the good things of the future, through
this greater and better Tent, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this world,
9:11 But Christ being come an high priest of good things to come, by a greater
and more perfect tabernacle, not made with hands, that is to say, not of this
building;
9:12 염소와 송아지의 피로 아니하고 오직 자기 피로 영원한 속죄를 이루사 단번에
성소에 들어가셨느니라
9:12 And has gone once and for ever into the holy place, having got eternal salvation,
not through the blood of goats and young oxen, but through his blood.
9:12 Neither by the blood of goats and calves, but by his own blood he entered
in once into the holy place, having obtained eternal redemption for us.
9:13 염소와 황소의 피와 및 암송아지의 재로 부정한 자에게 뿌려 그 육체를 정결케
하여 거룩케 하거든
9:13 For if the blood of goats and oxen, and the dust from the burning of a young cow,
being put on the unclean, make the flesh clean:
9:13 For if the blood of bulls and of goats, and the ashes of an heifer sprinkling
the unclean, santifies to the purifying of the flesh:
9:14 하물며 영원하신 성령으로 말미암아 흠 없는 자기를 하나님께 드린 그리스도의
피가 어찌 너희 양심으로 죽은 행실에서 깨끗하게 하고 살아 계신 하나님을 섬기지
못하겠느뇨
9:14 How much more will the blood of Christ, who, being without sin, made an offering
of himself to God through the Holy Spirit, make your hearts clean from dead works
to be servants of the living God?
9:14 How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit
(o. pneuma) offered himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from
dead works to serve the living God?
9:15 이를 인하여 그는 새 언약의 중보니 이는 첫 언약 때에 범한 죄를 속하려고
죽으사 부르심을 입은 자로 하여금 영원한 기업의 약속을 얻게 하려 하심이니라
9:15 And for this cause it is through him that a new agreement has come into being, so
that after the errors under the first agreement had been taken away by his death,
the word of God might have effect for those who were marked out for an eternal heritage.
9:15 And for this cause he is the mediator of the new testament, that by
means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions that were under the
first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal
inheritance.
9:16 유언은 유언한 자가 죽어야 되나니
9:16 Because where there is a testament, there has to be the death of the man who made
it.
9:16 For where a testament is, there must also of necessity be the death
of the testator.
9:17 유언은 그 사람이 죽은 후에야 견고한즉 유언한 자가 살았을 때에는 언제든지
효력이 없느니라
9:17 For a testament has effect after death; for what power has it while the man who
made it is living?
9:17 For a testament is of force after men are dead: otherwise it is of no
strength at all while the testator lives.
9:18 이러므로 첫 언약도 피 없이 세운 것이 아니니
9:18 So that even the first agreement was not made without blood.
9:18 Whereupon neither the first testament was dedicated without blood.
9:19 모세가 율법대로 모든 계명을 온 백성에게 말한 후에 송아지와 염소의 피와
및 물과 붉은 양털과 우슬초를 취하여 그 책과 온 백성에게 뿌려
9:19 For when Moses had given all the rules of the law to the people, he took the blood
of goats and young oxen, with water and red wool and hyssop, and put it on the book
itself and on all the people,
9:19 For when Moses had spoken every precept to all the people according
to the law, he took the blood of calves and of goats, with water, and scarlet
wool, and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book, and all the people,
9:20 이르되 이는 하나님이 너희에게 명하신 언약의 피라 하고
9:20 Saying, This blood is the sign of the agreement which God has made with you.
9:20 Saying, This is the blood of the testament which God has commanded with
authority unto you.
9:21 또한 이와 같이 피로써 장막과 섬기는 일에 쓰는 모든 그릇에 뿌렸느니라
9:21 And the blood was put on the Tent and all the holy vessels in the same way.
9:21 Moreover he sprinkled with blood both the tabernacle, and all the vessels
of the ministry.
9:22 율법을 좇아 거의 모든 물건이 피로써 정결케 되나니 피흘림이 없은즉 사함이
없느니라
9:22 And by the law almost all things are made clean with blood, and without blood there
is no forgiveness.
9:22 And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without
shedding of blood is no remission.
9:23 ○ 그러므로 하늘에 있는 것들의 모형은 이런 것들로써 정결케 할 필요가
있었으나 하늘에 있는 그것들은 이런 것들보다 더 좋은 제물로 할지니라
9:23 For this cause it was necessary to make the copies of the things in heaven clean
with these offerings; but the things themselves are made clean with better offerings
than these.
9:23 It was therefore necessary that the patterns of things in the heavens
should be purified with these; but the heavenly things themselves with better
sacrifices than these.
9:24 그리스도께서는 참 것의 그림자인 손으로 만든 성소에 들어가지 아니하시고
오직 참 하늘에 들어가사 이제 우리를 위하여 하나님 앞에 나타나시고
9:24 For Christ did not go into a holy place which had been made by men's hands as the
copy of the true one; but he went into heaven itself, and now takes his place before
the face of God for us.
9:24 For Christ is not entered into the holy places made with hands, which
are the figures of the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence
of God for us:
9:25 대제사장이 해마다 다른 것의 피로써 성소에 들어가는 것 같이 자주 자기를
드리려고 아니하실지니
9:25 And he did not have to make an offering of himself again and again, as the high
priest goes into the holy place every year with blood which is not his;
9:25 Nor yet that he should offer himself often, as the high priest enters
into the holy place every year with blood of others;
9:26 그리하면 그가 세상을 창조할 때부터 자주 고난을 받았어야 할 것이로되
이제 자기를 단번에 제사로 드려 죄를 없게 하시려고 세상 끝에 나타나셨느니라
9:26 For then he would have undergone a number of deaths from the time of the making
of the world: but now he has come to us at the end of the old order, to put away
sin by the offering of himself.
9:26 For then must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world:
but now once in the end of the world has he appeared to put away sin by the
sacrifice of himself.
9:27 한 번 죽는 것은 사람에게 정하신 것이요 그 후에는 심판이 있으리니
9:27 And because by God's law death comes to men once, and after that they are judged;
9:27 And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the judgment:
9:28 이와 같이 그리스도도 많은 사람의 죄를 담당하시려고 단번에 드리신 바
되셨고 구원에 이르게 하기 위하여 죄와 상관 없이 자기를 바라는 자들에게 두 번째
나타나시리라
9:28 So Christ, having at his first coming taken on himself the sins of men, will be
seen a second time, without sin, by those who are waiting for him, for their salvation.
9:28 So Christ was once offered to bear the sins of many; and unto them that
look for him shall he appear the second time without sin unto salvation.
10:1 율법은 장차 오는 좋은 일의 그림자요 참 형상이 아니므로 해마다 늘 드리는
바 같은 제사로는 나아오는 자들을 언제든지 온전케 할 수 없느니라
10:1 For the law, being only a poor copy of the future good things, and not the true
image of those things, is never able to make the people who come to the altar every
year with the same offerings completely clean.
10:1 For the law having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very
image of the things, can never with those sacrifices which they offered year
by year continually make the comers thereunto perfect.
10:2 그렇지 아니하면 섬기는 자들이 단번에 정결케 되어 다시 죄를 깨닫는 일이
없으리니 어찌 드리는 일을 그치지 아니하였으리요
10:2 For if this had been possible, would there not have been an end of those offerings,
because the worshippers would have been made completely clean and would have been
no longer conscious of sins?
10:2 For then would they not have ceased to be offered? because that the
worshippers once purged should have had no more conscience of sins.
10:3 그러나 이 제사들은 해마다 죄를 생각하게 하는 것이 있나니
10:3 But year by year there is a memory of sins in those offerings.
10:3 But in those sacrifices there is a remembrance again made of sins every
year.
10:4 이는 황소와 염소의 피가 능히 죄를 없이 하지 못함이라
10:4 Because it is not possible for the blood of oxen and goats to take away sins.
10:4 For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and of goats should take
away sins.
10:5 그러므로 세상에 임하실 때에 가라사대 하나님이 제사와 예물을 원치 아니하시고
오직 나를 위하여 한 몸을 예비하셨도다
10:5 So that when he comes into the world, he says, You had no desire for offerings,
but you made a body ready for me;
10:5 Wherefore when he comes into the world, he says, Sacrifice and offering
you would not, but a body have you prepared me:
10:6 전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 기뻐하지 아니하시나니
10:6 You had no joy in burned offerings or in offerings for sin.
10:6 In burnt offerings and sacrifices for sin you have had no pleasure.
10:7 이에 내가 말하기를 하나님이여 보시옵소서 두루마리 책에 나를 가리켜 기록한
것과 같이 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하시니라
10:7 Then I said, See, I have come to do your pleasure, O God (as it is said of me in
the roll of the book).
10:7 Then said I, Lo, I come (in the volume of the book it is written of
me,) to do your will, O God.
10:8 위에 말씀하시기를 제사와 예물과 전체로 번제함과 속죄제는 원치도 아니하고
기뻐하지도 아니하신다 하셨고{이는 다 율법을 따라 드리는 것이라}
10:8 After saying, You had no desire for offerings, for burned offerings or offerings
for sin (which are made by the law) and you had no pleasure in them,
10:8 Above when he said, Sacrifice and offering and burnt offerings and offering
for sin you would not, neither had pleasure therein; which are offered by the
law;
10:9 그 후에 말씀하시기를 보시옵소서 내가 하나님의 뜻을 행하러 왔나이다 하셨으니
그 첫 것을 폐하심은 둘째 것을 세우려 하심이니라
10:9 Then he said, See, I have come to do your pleasure. He took away the old order,
so that he might put the new order in its place.
10:9 Then said he, Lo, I come to do your will, O God. He takes away the first,
that he may establish the second.
10:10 이 뜻을 좇아 예수 그리스도의 몸을 단번에 드리심으로 말미암아 우리가
거룩함을 얻었노라
10:10 By that pleasure we have been made holy, by the offering of the body of Jesus Christ
once and for ever.
10:10 By the which will we are sanctified through the offering of the body
of Jesus Christ once for all.
10:11 제사장마다 매일 서서 섬기며 자주 같은 제사를 드리되 이 제사는 언제든지
죄를 없게 하지 못하거니와
10:11 And every priest takes his place at the altar day by day, doing what is necessary,
and making again and again the same offerings which are never able to take away
sins.
10:11 And every priest stands daily ministering and offering oftentimes the
same sacrifices, which can never take away sins:
10:12 오직 그리스도는 죄를 위하여 한 영원한 제사를 드리시고 하나님 우편에 앉으사
10:12 But when Jesus had made one offering for sins for ever, he took his place at the
right hand of God;
10:12 But this man, after he had offered one sacrifice for sins for ever,
sat down on the right hand of God;
10:13 그 후에 자기 원수들로 자기 발등상이 되게 하실 때까지 기다리시나니
10:13 And has been waiting there from that time, till all who are against him are made
a foot-rest for his feet.
10:13 From henceforth expecting till his enemies be made his footstool.
10:14 저가 한 제물로 거룩하게 된 자들을 영원히 온전케 하셨느니라
10:14 Because by one offering he has made complete for ever those who are made holy.
10:14 For by one offering he has perfected for ever them that are sanctified.
10:15 또한 성령이 우리에게 증거하시되
10:15 And the Holy Spirit is a witness for us: for after he had said,
10:15 Whereof the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) also is a witness to us: for after
that he had said before,
10:16 주께서 가라사대 그 날 후로는 저희와 세울 언약이 이것이라 하시고 내
법을 저희 마음에 두고 저희 생각에 기록하리라 하신 후에
10:16 This is the agreement which I will make with them after those days, says the Lord;
I will put my laws in their hearts, writing them in their minds; he said,
10:16 This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says
the Lord, I will put my laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write
them;
10:17 또 저희 죄와 저희 불법을 내가 다시 기억지 아니하리라 하셨으니
10:17 And I will keep no more memory of their sins and of their evil-doings.
10:17 And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.
10:18 이것을 사하셨은즉 다시 죄를 위하여 제사 드릴 것이 없느니라
10:18 Now where there is forgiveness of these, there is no more offering for sin.
10:18 Now where remission of these is, there is no more offering for sin.
10:19 ○ 그러므로 형제들아 우리가 예수의 피를 힘입어 성소에 들어갈 담력을
얻었나니
10:19 So then, my brothers, being able to go into the holy place without fear, because
of the blood of Jesus,
10:19 Having therefore, brethren, boldness to enter into the holiest by the
blood of Jesus,
10:20 그 길은 우리를 위하여 휘장 가운데로 열어 놓으신 새롭고 산 길이요 휘장은
곧 저의 육체니라
10:20 By the new and living way which he made open for us through the veil, that is to
say, his flesh;
10:20 By a new and living way, which he has consecrated for us, through the
veil, that is to say, his flesh;
10:21 또 하나님의 집 다스리는 큰 제사장이 계시매
10:21 And having a great priest over the house of God,
10:21 And having an high priest over the house of God;
10:22 우리가 마음에 뿌림을 받아 양심의 악을 깨닫고 몸을 맑은 물로 씻었으니 참 마음과 온전한 믿음으로 하나님께 나아가자
10:22 Let us go in with true hearts, in certain faith, having our hearts made free from
the sense of sin and our bodies washed with clean water:
10:22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having
our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure
water.
10:23 또 약속하신 이는 미쁘시니 우리가 믿는 도리의 소망을 움직이지 말고 굳게
잡아
10:23 Let us keep the witness of our hope strong and unshaking, for he is true who has
given his word:
10:23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for
he is faithful that promised;)
10:24 서로 돌아보아 사랑과 선행을 격려하며
10:24 And let us be moving one another at all times to love and good works;
10:24 And let us consider one another to provoke unto love (o. agape) and
to good works:
10:25 모이기를 폐하는 어떤 사람들의 습관과 같이 하지 말고 오직 권하여 그
날이 가까움을 볼수록 더욱 그리하자
10:25 Not giving up our meetings, as is the way of some, but keeping one another strong
in faith; and all the more because you see the day coming near.
10:25 Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of
some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as all of you see
the day approaching.
10:26 ○ 우리가 진리를 아는 지식을 받은 후 짐짓 죄를 범한 즉 다시 속죄하는
제사가 없고
10:26 For if we do evil on purpose after we have had the knowledge of what is true, there
is no more offering for sins,
10:26 For if we sin willfully after that we have received the knowledge of
the truth, there remains no more sacrifice for sins,
10:27 오직 무서운 마음으로 심판을 기다리는 것과 대적하는 자를 소멸할 맹렬한
불만 있으리라
10:27 But only a great fear of being judged, and of the fire of wrath which will be the
destruction of the haters of God.
10:27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation,
which shall devour the adversaries.
10:28 모세의 법을 폐한 자도 두 세 증인을 인하여 불쌍히 여김을 받지 못하고
죽었거든
10:28 A man who has gone against the law of Moses is put to death without pity on the
word of two or three witnesses:
10:28 He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:
10:29 하물며 하나님 아들을 밟고 자기를 거룩하게 한 언약의 피를 부정한 것으로
여기고 은혜의 성령을 욕되게 하는 자의 당연히 받을 형벌이 얼마나 더 중하겠느냐
너희는 생각하라
10:29 But will not the man by whom the Son of God has been crushed under foot, and the
blood of the agreement with which he was washed clean has been taken as an unholy
thing, and who has had no respect for the Spirit of grace, be judged bad enough
for a very much worse punishment?
10:29 Of how much greater punishment, suppose all of you, shall he be thought
worthy, who has trodden under foot the Son of God, and has counted the blood
of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and has done
despite unto the Spirit (o. pneuma) of grace?
10:30 원수 갚는 것이 내게 있으니 내가 갚으리라 하시고 또 다시 주께서 그의
백성을 심판하리라 말씀하신 것을 우리가 아노니
10:30 For we have had experience of him who says, Punishment is mine, I will give reward.
And again, The Lord will be judge of his people.
10:30 For we know him that has said, Vengeance belongs unto me, I will recompense,
says the Lord. And again, The Lord shall judge his people.
10:31 살아 계신 하나님의 손에 빠져 들어가는 것이 무서울진저
10:31 We may well go in fear of falling into the hands of the living God.
10:31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living God.
10:32 ○ 전날에 너희가 빛을 받은 후에 고난의 큰 싸움에 참은 것을 생각하라
10:32 But give thought to the days after you had seen the light, when you went through
a great war of troubles;
10:32 But call to remembrance the former days, in which, after all of you
were illuminated, all of you endured a great fight of afflictions;
10:33 혹 비방과 환난으로써 사람에게 구경거리가 되고 혹 이런 형편에 있는 자들로
사귀는 자 되었으니
10:33 In part, in being attacked by angry words and cruel acts, before the eyes of everyone,
and in part, in being united with those who were attacked in this way.
10:33 Partly, whilst all of you were made a gazing-stock both by reproaches
and afflictions; and partly, whilst all of you became companions of them that
were so used.
10:34 너희가 갇힌 자를 동정하고 너희 산업을 빼앗기는 것도 기쁘게 당한 것은
더 낫고 영구한 산업이 있는 줄 앎이라
10:34 For you had pity on those who were in prison, and had joy in the loss of your property,
in the knowledge that you still had a better property and one which you would keep
for ever.
10:34 For all of you had compassion of me in my bonds, and took joyfully
the spoiling of your goods, knowing in yourselves that all of you have in heaven
a better and an enduring substance.
10:35 그러므로 너희 담대함을 버리지 말라 이것이 큰 상을 얻느니라
10:35 So do not give up your hope which will be greatly rewarded.
10:35 Cast not away therefore your confidence, which has great recompence
of reward.
10:36 너희에게 인내가 필요함은 너희가 하나님의 뜻을 행한 후에 약속을 받기
위함이라
10:36 For, having done what was right in God's eyes, you have need of waiting before his
word has effect for you.
10:36 For all of you have need of patience, that, after all of you have done
the will of God, all of you might receive the promise.
10:37 잠시 잠간 후면 오실 이가 오시리니 지체하지 아니하시리라
10:37 In a very little time he who is coming will come; he will not be slow.
10:37 For yet a little while, and he that shall come will come, and will
not tarry.
10:38 오직 나의 의인은 믿음으로 말미암아 살리라 또한 뒤로 물러가면 내 마음이
저를 기뻐하지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
10:38 But the upright man will be living by his faith; and if he goes back, my soul will
have no pleasure in him.
10:38 Now the just shall live by faith: but if any man draw back, my soul
shall have no pleasure in him.
10:39 우리는 뒤로 물러가 침륜에 빠질 자가 아니요 오직 영혼을 구원함에 이르는
믿음을 가진 자니라
10:39 But we are not of those who go back to destruction; but of those who have faith
even to the salvation of the soul.
10:39 But we are not of them who draw back unto perdition; but of them that
believe to the saving of the soul.
11:1 믿음은 바라는 것들의 실상이요 보지 못하는 것들의 증거니
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, and the sign that the things not
seen are true.
11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things
not seen.
11:2 선진들이 이로써 증거를 얻었느니라
11:2 For by it our fathers had God's approval.
11:2 For by it the elders obtained a good report.
11:3 믿음으로 모든 세계가 하나님의 말씀으로 지어진 줄을 우리가 아나니 보이는
것은 나타난 것으로 말미암아 된 것이 아니니라
11:3 By faith it is clear to us that the order of events was fixed by the word of God,
so that what is seen has not been made from things which only seem to be.
11:3 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word
(o. rhema) of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which
do appear.
11:4 믿음으로 아벨은 가인보다 더 나은 제사를 하나님께 드림으로 의로운 자라
하시는 증거를 얻었으니 하나님이 그 예물에 대하여 증거하심이라 저가 죽었으나
그 믿음으로써 오히려 말하느니라
11:4 By faith Abel made a better offering to God than Cain, and he had witness through
it of his righteousness, God giving his approval of his offering: and his voice
still comes to us through it though he is dead.
11:4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain,
by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts:
and by it he being dead yet speaks.
11:5 믿음으로 에녹은 죽음을 보지 않고 옮기웠으니 하나님이 저를 옮기심으로
다시 보이지 아니하니라 저는 옮기우기 전에 하나님을 기쁘시게 하는 자라 하는 증거를
받았느니라
11:5 By faith Enoch was taken up to heaven so that he did not see death; he was seen
no longer, for God took him away: for before he was taken, witness had been given
that he was well-pleasing to God:
11:5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was
not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had
this testimony, that he pleased God.
11:6 믿음이 없이는 기쁘시게 못하나니 하나님께 나아가는 자는 반드시 그가 계신
것과 또한 그가 자기를 찾는 자들에게 상주시는 이심을 믿어야 할지니라
11:6 And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary
for anyone who comes to God to have the belief that God is, and that he is a rewarder
of all those who make a serious search for him.
11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that comes
to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently
seek him.
11:7 믿음으로 노아는 아직 보지 못하는 일에 경고하심을 받아 경외함으로 방주를
예비하여 그 집을 구원하였으니 이로 말미암아 세상을 정죄하고 믿음을 좇는 의의
후사가 되었느니라
11:7 By faith Noah, being moved by the fear of God, made ready an ark for the salvation
of his family, because God had given him news of things which were not seen at the
time; and through it the world was judged by him, and he got for his heritage the
righteousness which is by faith.
11:7 By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved
with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; by the which he condemned
the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
11:8 믿음으로 아브라함은 부르심을 받았을 때에 순종하여 장래 기업으로 받을
땅에 나갈새 갈 바를 알지 못하고 나갔으며
11:8 By faith Abraham did as God said when he was ordered to go out into a place which
was to be given to him as a heritage, and went out without knowledge of where he
was going.
11:8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he
should after receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing
where he went.
11:9 믿음으로 저가 외방에 있는 것 같이 약속하신 땅에 우거하여 동일한 약속을
유업으로 함께 받은 이삭과 야곱으로 더불어 장막에 거하였으니
11:9 By faith he was a wanderer in the land of the agreement, as in a strange land, living
in tents with Isaac and Jacob, who had a part with him in the same heritage:
11:9 By faith he sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country,
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same
promise:
11:10 이는 하나님의 경영하시고 지으실 터가 있는 성을 바랐음이니라
11:10 For he was looking for the strong town, whose builder and maker is God.
11:10 For he looked for a city which has foundations, whose builder and maker
is God.
11:11 믿음으로 사라 자신도 나이 늙어 단산하였으나 잉태하는 힘을 얻었으니
이는 약속하신 이를 미쁘신 줄 앎이라
11:11 And by faith Sarah herself had power to give birth, when she was very old, because
she had faith in him who gave his word;
11:11 Through faith also Sara herself received strength to conceive seed,
and was delivered of a child when she was past age, because she judged him faithful
who had promised.
11:12 이러므로 죽은 자와 방불한 한 사람으로 말미암아 하늘에 허다한 별과 또
해변의 무수한 모래와 같이 많이 생육하였느니라
11:12 So that from one man, who was near to death, came children in number as the stars
in heaven, or as the sand by the seaside, which may not be numbered.
11:12 Therefore sprang there even of one, and him as good as dead, so many
as the stars of the sky in multitude, and as the sand which is by the sea shore
innumerable.
11:13 ○ 이 사람들은 다 믿음을 따라 죽었으며 약속을 받지 못하였으되 그것들을
멀리서 보고 환영하며 또 땅에서는 외국인과 나그네로라 증거하였으니
11:13 All these came to their end in faith, not having had the heritage; but having seen
it with delight far away, they gave witness that they were wanderers and not of
the earth.
11:13 These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having
seen them far off, and were persuaded of them, and embraced them, and confessed
that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.
11:14 이같이 말하는 자들은 본향 찾는 것을 나타냄이라
11:14 For those who say such things make it clear that they are searching for a country
for themselves.
11:14 For they that say such things declare plainly that they seek a country.
11:15 저희가 나온 바 본향을 생각하였더면 돌아갈 기회가 있었으려니와
11:15 And truly if they had kept in mind the country from which they went out, they would
have had chances of turning back.
11:15 And truly, if they had been mindful of that country from whence they
came out, they might have had opportunity to have returned.
11:16 저희가 이제는 더 나은 본향을 사모하니 곧 하늘에 있는 것이라 그러므로
하나님이 저희 하나님이라 일컬음 받으심을 부끄러워 아니하시고 저희를 위하여 한
성을 예비하셨느니라
11:16 But now their desire is for a better country, that is to say, for one in heaven;
and so it is no shame to God to be named their God; for he has made ready a town
for them.
11:16 But now they desire a better country, that is, an heavenly: wherefore
God is not ashamed to be called their God: for he has prepared for them a city.
11:17 아브라함은 시험을 받을 때에 믿음으로 이삭을 드렸으니 저는 약속을 받은
자로되 그 독생자를 드렸느니라
11:17 By faith Abraham made an offering of Isaac, when he was tested: and he with whom
the agreement had been made gave up as an offering the only son of his body,
11:17 By faith Abraham, when he was tried, offered up Isaac: and he that
had received the promises offered up his only begotten son,
11:18 저에게 이미 말씀하시기를 네 자손이라 칭할 자는 이삭으로 말미암으리라
하셨으니
11:18 Of whom it had been said, From Isaac will your seed take their name:
11:18 Of whom it was said, That in Isaac shall your seed be called:
11:19 저가 하나님이 능히 죽은 자 가운데서 다시 살리실 줄로 생각한지라 비유컨대
죽은 자 가운데서 도로 받은 것이니라
11:19 Judging that God was able to give life even to the dead; and because of this he
did get him back as if from death.
11:19 Accounting that God was able to raise him up, even from the dead; from
whence also he received him in a figure.
11:20 믿음으로 이삭은 장차 오는 일에 대하여 야곱과 에서에게 축복하였으며
11:20 By faith Isaac, blessing Jacob and Esau, gave news of things to come.
11:20 By faith Isaac blessed Jacob and Esau concerning things to come.
11:21 믿음으로 야곱은 죽을 때에 요셉의 각 아들에게 축복하고 그 지팡이 머리에
의지하여 경배하였으며
11:21 By faith Jacob gave a blessing to the two sons of Joseph, when he was near to death;
and gave God worship, supported by his stick.
11:21 By faith Jacob, when he was a dying, blessed both the sons of Joseph;
and worshipped, leaning upon the top of his staff.
11:22 믿음으로 요셉은 임종시에 이스라엘 자손들의 떠날 것을 말하고 또 자기
해골을 위하여 명하였으며
11:22 By faith Joseph, when his end was near, said that the children of Israel would go
out of Egypt; and gave orders about his bones.
11:22 By faith Joseph, when he died, made mention of the departing of the
children of Israel; and gave commandment concerning his bones.
11:23 믿음으로 모세가 났을 때에 그 부모가 아름다운 아이임을 보고 석 달 동안
숨겨 임금의 명령을 무서워 아니하였으며
11:23 By faith Moses was kept secretly by his father and mother for three months after
his birth, because they saw that he was a fair child; and they had no fear of the
king's orders.
11:23 By faith Moses, when he was born, was hid three months of his parents,
because they saw he was a proper child; and they were not afraid of the king's
commandment.
11:24 믿음으로 모세는 장성하여 바로의 공주의 아들이라 칭함을 거절하고
11:24 By faith Moses, when he became a man, had no desire to be named the son of Pharaoh's
daughter;
11:24 By faith Moses, when he was come to years, refused to be called the
son of Pharaoh's daughter;
11:25 도리어 하나님의 백성과 함께 고난 받기를 잠시 죄악의 낙을 누리는 것보다
더 좋아하고
11:25 Feeling that it was better to undergo pain with the people of God, than for a short
time to have a taste of the pleasures of sin;
11:25 Choosing rather to suffer affliction with the people of God, than to
enjoy the pleasures of sin for a season;
11:26 그리스도를 위하여 받는 능욕을 애굽의 모든 보화보다 더 큰 재물로 여겼으니
이는 상 주심을 바라봄이라
11:26 Judging a part in the shame of Christ to be better than all the wealth of Egypt;
for he was looking forward to his reward.
11:26 Esteeming the reproach of Christ greater riches than the treasures
in Egypt: for he had respect unto the recompence of the reward.
11:27 믿음으로 애굽을 떠나 임금의 노함을 무서워 아니하고 곧 보이지 아니하는
자를 보는 것 같이 하여 참았으며
11:27 By faith he went out of Egypt, not being turned from his purpose by fear of the
wrath of the king; for he kept on his way, as seeing him who is unseen.
11:27 By faith he forsook Egypt, not fearing the wrath of the king: for he
endured, as seeing him who is invisible.
11:28 믿음으로 유월절과 피 뿌리는 예를 정하였으니 이는 장자를 멸하는 자로
저희를 건드리지 않게 하려 한 것이며
11:28 By faith he kept the Passover, and put the sign of the blood on the houses, so that
the angel of destruction might not put their oldest sons to death.
11:28 Through faith he kept the passover, and the sprinkling of blood, lest
he that destroyed the firstborn should touch them.
11:29 믿음으로 저희가 홍해를 육지 같이 건넜으나 애굽 사람들은 이것을 시험하다가
빠져 죽었으며
11:29 By faith they went through the Red Sea as if it had been dry land, though the Egyptians
were overcome by the water when they made an attempt to do the same.
11:29 By faith they passed through the Red sea as by dry land: which the
Egyptians assaying to do were drowned.
11:30 믿음으로 칠 일 동안 여리고를 두루 다니매 성이 무너졌으며
11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho came down, after they had been circled for seven days.
11:30 By faith the walls of Jericho fell down, after they were compassed
about seven days.
11:31 믿음으로 기생 라합은 정탐군을 평안히 영접하였으므로 순종치 아니한 자와
함께 멸망치 아니하였도다
11:31 By faith Rahab, the loose woman, was not put to death with those who had gone against
God's orders, because she had taken into her house in peace those sent to see the
land.
11:31 By faith the harlot Rahab perished not with them that believed not,
when she had received the spies with peace.
11:32 내가 무슨 말을 더 하리요 기드온 바락 삼손 입다와 다윗과 사무엘과 및
선지자들의 일을 말하려면 내게 시간이 부족하리로다
11:32 What more am I to say? For there would not be time to give the stories of Gideon,
Barak, Samson, and Jephthah, of David and Samuel and the prophets:
11:32 And what shall I more say? for the time would fail me to tell of Gedeon,
and of Barak, and of Samson, and of Jephthae; of David also, and Samuel, and
of the prophets:
11:33 저희가 믿음으로 나라들을 이기기도 하며 의를 행하기도 하며 약속을 받기도
하며 사자들의 입을 막기도 하며
11:33 Who through faith overcame kingdoms, did righteousness, got their reward, kept the
mouths of lions shut,
11:33 Who through faith subdued kingdoms, wrought righteousness, obtained
promises, stopped the mouths of lions.
11:34 불의 세력을 멸하기도 하며 칼날을 피하기도 하며 연약한 가운데서 강하게
되기도 하며 전쟁에 용맹되어 이방 사람들의 진을 물리치기도 하며
11:34 Put out the power of fire, got safely away from the edge of the sword, were made
strong when they had been feeble, became full of power in war, and put to flight
the armies of the nations.
11:34 Quenched the violence of fire, escaped the edge of the sword, out of
weakness were made strong, waxed valiant in fight, turned to flight the armies
of the aliens.
11:35 여자들은 자기의 죽은 자를 부활로 받기도 하며 또 어떤 이들은 더 좋은
부활을 얻고자 하여 악형을 받되 구차히 면하지 아니하였으며
11:35 Women had their dead given back to them living; others let themselves be cruelly
attacked, having no desire to go free, so that they might have a better life to
come;
11:35 Women received their dead raised to life again: and others were tortured,
not accepting deliverance; that they might obtain a better resurrection:
11:36 또 어떤 이들은 희롱과 채찍질뿐 아니라 결박과 옥에 갇히는 시험도 받았으며
11:36 And others were tested by being laughed at or by blows, and even with chains and
prisons:
11:36 And others had trial of cruel mockings and scourgings, yea, moreover
of bonds and imprisonment:
11:37 돌로 치는 것과 톱으로 켜는 것과 시험과 칼에 죽는 것을 당하고 양과 염소의
가죽을 입고 유리하여 궁핍과 환난과 학대를 받았으니
11:37 They were stoned, they were cut up with knives, they were tested, they were put
to death with the sword, they went about in sheepskins and in goatskins; being poor
and in pain and cruelly attacked,
11:37 They were stoned, they were sawn asunder, were tempted, were slain
with the sword: they wandered about in sheepskins and goatskins; being destitute,
afflicted, tormented;
11:38 {이런 사람은 세상이 감당치 못하도다}저희가 광야와 산중과 암혈과 토굴에
유리하였느니라
11:38 Wandering in waste places and in mountains and in holes in the rocks; for whom the
world was not good enough.
11:38 (Of whom the world was not worthy:) they wandered in deserts, and in
mountains, and in dens and caves of the earth.
11:39 이 사람들이 다 믿음으로 말미암아 증거를 받았으나 약속을 받지 못하였으니
11:39 And not one of these got the good things of the agreement, though they all had a
good record through faith,
11:39 And these all, having obtained a good report through faith, received
not the promise:
11:40 이는 하나님이 우리를 위하여 더 좋은 것을 예비하셨은즉 우리가 아니면
저희로 온전함을 이루지 못하게 하려 하심이니라
11:40 Because God had kept some better thing for us, so that it was not possible for them
to become complete without us.
11:40 God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us
should not be made perfect.
12:1 이러므로 우리에게 구름 같이 둘러싼 허다한 증인들이 있으니 모든 무거운
것과 얽매이기 쉬운 죄를 벗어 버리고 인내로써 우리 앞에 당한 경주를 경주하며
12:1 For this reason, as we are circled by so great a cloud of witnesses, putting off
every weight, and the sin into which we come so readily, let us keep on running
in the way which is marked out for us,
12:1 Wherefore seeing we also are compassed about with so great a cloud of
witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which does so easily beset
us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us,
12:2 믿음의 주요 또 온전케 하시는 이인 예수를 바라보자 저는 그 앞에 있는
즐거움을 위하여 십자가를 참으사 부끄러움을 개의치 아니하시더니 하나님 보좌 우편에
앉으셨느니라
12:2 Having our eyes fixed on Jesus, the guide and end of our faith, who went through
the pains of the cross, not caring for the shame, because of the joy which was before
him, and who has now taken his place at the right hand of God's seat of power.
12:2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the
joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set
down at the right hand of the throne of God.
12:3 너희가 피곤하여 낙심치 않기 위하여 죄인들의 이같이 자기에게 거역한 일을
참으신 자를 생각하라
12:3 Give thought to him who has undergone so much of the hate of sinners against himself,
so that you may not be tired and feeble of purpose.
12:3 For consider him that endured such contradiction of sinners against
himself, lest all of you be wearied and faint in your minds.
12:4 너희가 죄와 싸우되 아직 피 흘리기까지는 대항치 아니하고
12:4 Till now you have not given your blood in your fight against sin:
12:4 All of you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin.
12:5 또 아들들에게 권하는 것 같이 너희에게 권면하신 말씀을 잊었도다 일렀으되
내 아들아 주의 징계하심을 경히 여기지 말며 그에게 꾸지람을 받을 때에 낙심하지 말라
12:5 And you have not kept in mind the word which says to you as to sons, My son, do
not make little of the Lord's punishment, and do not give up hope when you are judged
by him;
12:5 And all of you have forgotten the exhortation which speaks unto you
as unto children, My son, despise not you the chastening of the Lord, nor faint
when you are rebuked of him:
12:6 주께서 그 사랑하시는 자를 징계하시고 그의 받으시는 아들마다 채찍질하심이니라 하였으니
12:6 For the Lord sends punishment on his loved ones; everyone whom he takes as his son
has experience of his rod.
12:6 For whom the Lord loves he chastens, and scourges every son whom he
receives.
12:7 너희가 참음은 징계를 받기 위함이라 하나님이 아들과 같이 너희를 대우하시나니
어찌 아비가 징계하지 않는 아들이 있으리요
12:7 It is for your training that you undergo these things; God is acting to you as a
father does to his sons; for what son does not have punishment from his father?
12:7 If all of you endure chastening, God deals with you as with sons; for
what son is he whom the father chastens not?
12:8 징계는 다 받는 것이거늘 너희에게 없으면 사생자요 참 아들이 아니니라
12:8 But if you have not that punishment of which we all have our part, then you are
not true sons, but children of shame.
12:8 But if all of you be without chastisement, whereof all are partakers,
then are all of you bastards, and not sons.
12:9 또 우리 육체의 아버지가 우리를 징계하여도 공경하였거늘 하물며 모든 영의
아버지께 더욱 복종하여 살려 하지 않겠느냐
12:9 And again, if the fathers of our flesh gave us punishment and had our respect, how
much more will we be under the authority of the Father of spirits, and have life?
12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and
we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father
of spirits, (o. pneuma) and live?
12:10 저희는 잠시 자기의 뜻대로 우리를 징계하였거니와 오직 하나님은 우리의
유익을 위하여 그의 거룩하심에 참예케 하시느니라
12:10 For they truly gave us punishment for a short time, as it seemed good to them; but
he does it for our profit, so that we may become holy as he is.
12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure;
but he for our profit, that we might be partakers of his holiness.
12:11 무릇 징계가 당시에는 즐거워 보이지 않고 슬퍼 보이나 후에 그로 말미암아
연달한 자에게는 의의 평강한 열매를 맺나니
12:11 At the time all punishment seems to be pain and not joy: but after, those who have
been trained by it get from it the peace-giving fruit of righteousness.
12:11 Now no chastening for the present seems to be joyous, but grievous:
nevertheless afterward it yields the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them
which are exercised thereby.
12:12 그러므로 피곤한 손과 연약한 무릎을 일으켜 세우고
12:12 For this cause let the hands which are hanging down be lifted up, and let the feeble
knees be made strong,
12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
12:13 너희 발을 위하여 곧은 길을 만들어 저는 다리로 하여금 어그러지지 않고
고침을 받게 하라
12:13 And make straight roads for your feet, so that the feeble may not be turned out
of the way, but may be made strong.
12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned
out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
12:14 모든 사람으로 더불어 화평함과 거룩함을 좇으라 이것이 없이는 아무도
주를 보지 못하리라
12:14 Let your desire be for peace with all men, and to be made holy, without which no
man may see the Lord;
12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall
see the Lord:
12:15 너희는 돌아보아 하나님 은혜에 이르지 못하는 자가 있는가 두려워하고
또 쓴 뿌리가 나서 괴롭게 하고 많은 사람이 이로 말미암아 더러움을 입을까 두려워하고
12:15 Looking with care to see that no man among you in his behaviour comes short of the
grace of God; for fear that some bitter root may come up to be a trouble to you,
and that some of you may be made unclean by it;
12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any
root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
12:16 음행하는 자와 혹 한 그릇 식물을 위하여 장자의 명분을 판 에서와 같이
망령된 자가 있을까 두려워 하라
12:16 And that there may not be any evil liver, or any man without respect for God, like
Esau, who let his birthright go for a plate of food.
12:16 Lest there be any fornicator, or profane person, as Esau, who for one
morsel of food sold his birthright.
12:17 너희의 아는 바와 같이 저가 그 후에 축복을 기업으로 받으려고 눈물을 흘리며
구하되 버린 바가 되어 회개할 기회를 얻지 못하였느니라
12:17 For you have knowledge that even long after, when he was desiring the blessing for
his heritage, he was turned away, though he made his request frequently and with
weeping; because the past might not be changed.
12:17 For all of you know how that afterward, when he would have inherited
the blessing, he was rejected: for he found no place of repentance, though he
sought it carefully with tears.
12:18 ○ 너희에 이른 곳은 만질 만한 불 붙는 산과 흑운과 흑암과 폭풍과
12:18 You have not come to a mountain which may be touched, and is burning with fire,
and to a black cloud, and a dark smoke, and a violent wind,
12:18 For all of you are not come unto the mount that might be touched, and
that burned with fire, nor unto blackness, and darkness, and tempest,
12:19 나팔 소리와 말하는 소리가 아니라 그 소리를 듣는 자들은 더 말씀하지 아니하시기를
구하였으니
12:19 And to the sound of a horn, and the voice of words, the hearers of which made request
that not a word more might be said to them:
12:19 And the sound of a trumpet, and the voice of words; (o. rhema) which
voice they that heard implored that the word (o. logos) should not be spoken
to them any more:
12:20 이는 짐승이라도 산에 이르거든 돌로 침을 당하리라 하신 명을 저희가 견디지 못함이라
12:20 For the order which said, If the mountain is touched even by a beast, the beast
is to be stoned, seemed hard to them;
12:20 (For they could not endure that which was commanded, And if so much
as a beast touch the mountain, it shall be stoned, or thrust through with a
dart:
12:21 그 보이는 바가 이렇듯이 무섭기로 모세도 이르되 내가 심히 두렵고 떨린다 하였으나
12:21 And the vision was so overpowering that even Moses said, I am shaking and full of
fear.
12:21 And so terrible was the sight, that Moses said, I exceedingly fear
and quake:)
12:22 그러나 너희가 이른 곳은 시온 산과 살아 계신 하나님의 도성인 하늘의 예루살렘과
천만 천사와
12:22 But you have come to the mountain of Zion, to the place of the living God, to the
Jerusalem which is in heaven, and to an army of angels which may not be numbered,
12:22 But all of you are come unto mount Sion, and unto the city of the living
God, the heavenly Jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,
12:23 하늘에 기록한 장자들의 총회와 교회와 만민의 심판자이신 하나님과 및
온전케 된 의인의 영들과
12:23 To the great meeting and church of the first of those who are named in heaven, and
to God the judge of all, and to the spirits of good men made complete,
12:23 To the general assembly and church of the firstborn, which are written
in heaven, and to God the Judge of all, and to the spirits (o. pneuma) of just
men made perfect,
12:24 새 언약의 중보이신 예수와 및 아벨의 피보다 더 낫게 말하는 뿌린 피니라
12:24 And to Jesus by whom the new agreement has been made between God and man, and to
the sign of the blood which says better things than Abel's blood.
12:24 And to Jesus the mediator of the new covenant, and to the blood of
sprinkling, that speaks better things that that of Abel.
12:25 너희는 삼가 말하신 자를 거역하지 말라 땅에서 경고하신 자를 거역한 저희가
피하지 못하였거든 하물며 하늘로 좇아 경고하신 자를 배반하는 우리일까 보냐
12:25 See that you give ear to his voice which comes to you. For if those whose ears were
shut to the voice which came to them on earth did not go free from punishment, what
chance have we of going free if we give no attention to him whose voice comes from
heaven?
12:25 See that all of you refuse not him that speaks. For if they escaped
not who refused him that spoke on earth, much more shall not we escape, if we
turn away from him that speaks from heaven:
12:26 그 때에는 그 소리가 땅을 진동하였거니와 이제는 약속하여 가라사대 내가
또 한 번 땅만 아니라 하늘도 진동하리라 하셨느니라
12:26 Whose voice was the cause of the shaking of the earth; but now he has made an oath,
saying, There will be still one more shaking, not only of the earth, but of heaven.
12:26 Whose voice then shook the earth: but now he has promised, saying,
Yet once more I shake not the earth only, but also heaven.
12:27 이 또 한 번이라 하심은 진동치 아니하는 것을 영존케 하기 위하여 진동할
것들 곧 만든 것들과 변동될 것을 나타내심이니라
12:27 And the words, Still one more, make it clear that there will be a taking away of
those things which are shaking, as of things which are made, so that there may be
only those things of which no shaking is possible.
12:27 And this word, Yet once more, signifies the removing of those things
that are shaken, as of things that are made, that those things which cannot
be shaken may remain.
12:28 그러므로 우리가 진동치 못할 나라를 받았은즉 은혜를 받자 이로 말미암아
경건함과 두려움으로 하나님을 기쁘시게 섬길지니
12:28 If then, we have a kingdom which will never be moved, let us have grace, so that
we may give God such worship as is pleasing to him with fear and respect:
12:28 Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have
grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:
12:29 우리 하나님은 소멸하는 불이심이니라
12:29 For our God is an all-burning fire.
12:29 For our God is a consuming fire.
13:1 형제 사랑하기를 계속하고
13:1 Go on loving your brothers in the faith.
13:1 Let brotherly love continue.
13:2 손님 대접하기를 잊지 말라 이로써 부지중에 천사들을 대접한 이들이 있었느니라
13:2 Take care to keep open house: because in this way some have had angels as their
guests, without being conscious of it.
13:2 Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained
angels unexpectedly.
13:3 자기도 함께 갇힌 것 같이 갇힌 자를 생각하고 자기도 몸을 가졌은즉 학대
받는 자를 생각하라
13:3 Keep in mind those who are in chains, as if you were chained with them, and those
who are in trouble, as being yourselves in the body.
13:3 Remember them that are in bonds, as bound with them; and them which
suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.
13:4 모든 사람은 혼인을 귀히 여기고 침소를 더럽히지 않게 하라 음행하는 자들과
간음하는 자들을 하나님이 심판하시리라
13:4 Let married life be honoured among all of you and not made unclean; for men untrue
in married life will be judged by God.
13:4 Marriage is honourable in all, and the bed undefiled: but whoremongers
and adulterers God will judge.
13:5 돈을 사랑치 말고 있는 바를 족한 줄로 알라 그가 친히 말씀하시기를 내가
과연 너희를 버리지 아니하고 과연 너희를 떠나지 아니하리라 하셨느니라
13:5 Be free from the love of money and pleased with the things which you have; for he
himself has said, I will be with you at all times.
13:5 Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such
things as all of you have: for he has said, I will never leave you, nor forsake
you.
13:6 그러므로 우리가 담대히 가로되 주는 나를 돕는 자시니 내가 무서워 아니하겠노라
사람이 내게 어찌하리요 하노라
13:6 So that we say with a good heart, The Lord is my helper; I will have no fear: what
is man able to do to me?
13:6 So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I will not fear
what man shall do unto me.
13:7 하나님의 말씀을 너희에게 이르고 너희를 인도하던 자들을 생각하며 저희
행실의 종말을 주의하여 보고 저희 믿음을 본받으라
13:7 Keep in mind those who were over you, and who gave you the word of God; seeing the
outcome of their way of life, let your faith be like theirs.
13:7 Remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you
the word (o. logos) of God: whose faith follow, considering the end of their
conversation.
13:8 예수 그리스도는 어제나 오늘이나 영원토록 동일하시니라
13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.
13:8 Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever.
13:9 여러 가지 다른 교훈에 끌리지 말라 마음은 은혜로써 굳게 함이 아름답고
식물로써 할 것이 아니니 식물로 말미암아 행한 자는 유익을 얻지 못하였느니라
13:9 Do not be turned away by different strange teachings, because it is good for your
hearts to be made strong by grace, and not by meats, which were of no profit to
those who took so much trouble over them.
13:9 Be not carried about with divers and strange doctrines. For it is a
good thing that the heart be established with grace; not with meats, which have
not profited them that have been occupied therein.
13:10 우리에게 제단이 있는데 그 위에 있는 제물은 장막에서 섬기는 자들이 이
제단에게 먹을 권이 없나니
13:10 We have an altar from which those priests who are servants in the Tent may not take
food.
13:10 We have an altar, whereof they have no right to eat which serve the
tabernacle.
13:11 이는 죄를 위한 짐승의 피는 대제사장이 가지고 성소에 들어가고 그 육체는
영문 밖에서 불사름이니라
13:11 For the bodies of the beasts whose blood is taken into the holy place by the high
priest as an offering for sin are burned outside the circle of the tents.
13:11 For the bodies of those beasts, whose blood is brought into the sanctuary
by the high priest for sin, are burned without the camp.
13:12 그러므로 예수도 자기 피로써 백성을 거룩케 하려고 성문 밖에서 고난을 받으셨느니라
13:12 For this reason Jesus was put to death outside the walls, so that he might make
the people holy by his blood.
13:12 Wherefore Jesus also, that he might sanctify the people with his own
blood, suffered without the gate.
13:13 그런즉 우리는 그 능욕을 지고 영문 밖으로 그에게 나아가자
13:13 Let us then go out to him outside the circle of the tents, taking his shame on ourselves.
13:13 Let us go forth therefore unto him without the camp, bearing his reproach.
13:14 우리가 여기는 영구한 도성이 없고 오직 장차 올 것을 찾나니
13:14 For here we have no fixed resting-place, but our search is for the one which is
to come.
13:14 For here have we no continuing city, but we seek one to come.
13:15 이러므로 우리가 예수로 말미암아 항상 찬미의 제사를 하나님께 드리자
이는 그 이름을 증거하는 입술의 열매니라
13:15 Let us then make offerings of praise to God at all times through him, that is to
say, the fruit of lips giving witness to his name.
13:15 By him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually,
that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.
13:16 오직 선을 행함과 서로 나눠 주기를 잊지 말라 이같은 제사는 하나님이 기뻐하시느니라
13:16 But go on doing good and giving to others, because God is well-pleased with such
offerings.
13:16 But to do good and to communicate forget not: for with such sacrifices
God is well pleased.
13:17 너희를 인도하는 자들에게 순종하고 복종하라 저희는 너희 영혼을 위하여
경성하기를 자기가 회계할 자인 것 같이 하느니라 저희로 하여금 즐거움으로 이것을
하게 하고 근심으로 하게 말라 그렇지 않으면 너희에게 유익이 없느니라
13:17 Give ear to those who are rulers over you, and do as they say: for they keep watch
over your souls, ready to give an account of them; let them be able to do this with
joy and not with grief, because that would be of no profit to you.
13:17 Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they
watch for your souls, as they that must give account, (o. logos) that they may
do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is useless for you.
13:18 ○ 우리를 위하여 기도하라 우리가 모든 일에 선하게 행하려 하므로 우리에게
선한 양심이 있는 줄을 확신하노라
13:18 Make prayers for us, for we are certain that our hearts are free from the sense
of sin, desiring the right way of life in all things.
13:18 Pray for us: for we trust we have a good conscience, in all things
willing to live honestly.
13:19 내가 더 속히 너희에게 돌아가기를 위하여 너희 기도함을 더욱 원하노라
13:19 I make this request more strongly, in the hope of coming back to you more quickly.
13:19 But I plead to you the rather to do this, that I may be restored to
you the sooner.
13:20 ○ 양의 큰 목자이신 우리 주 예수를 영원한 언약의 피로 죽은 자 가운데서
이끌어 내신 평강의 하나님이
13:20 Now may the God of peace, who made that great keeper of his flock, even our Lord
Jesus, come back from the dead through the blood of the eternal agreement,
13:20 Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus,
that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
13:21 모든 선한 일에 너희를 온전케 하사 자기 뜻을 행하게 하시고 그 앞에 즐거운
것을 예수 그리스도로 말미암아 우리 속에 이루시기를 원하노라 영광이 그에게 세세
무궁토록 있을지어다 아멘
13:21 Make you full of every good work and ready to do all his desires, working in us
whatever is pleasing in his eyes through Jesus Christ; and may the glory be given
to him for ever and ever. So be it.
13:21 Make you perfect in every good work to do his will, working in you
that which is well-pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom be glory
for ever and ever. Amen.
13:22 ○ 형제들아 내가 너희를 권하노니 권면의 말을 용납하라 내가 간단히 너희에게
썼느니라
13:22 But, brothers, take kindly the words which I have said for your profit; for I have
not sent you a long letter.
13:22 And I plead to you, brethren, suffer the word (o. logos) of exhortation:
for I have written a letter unto you in few words.
13:23 우리 형제 디모데가 놓인 것을 너희가 알라 그가 속히 오면 내가 저와 함께
가서 너희를 보리라
13:23 Our brother Timothy has been let out of prison; and if he comes here in a short
time, he and I will come to you together.
13:23 Know all of you that our brother Timothy is set at liberty; with whom,
if he comes shortly, I will see you.
13:24 ○ 너희를 인도하는 자와 및 모든 성도에게 문안하라 이달리야에서 온 자들도
너희에게 문안하느니라
13:24 Give words of love from me to those who are rulers over you, and to all the saints.
Those who are in Italy send you their love.
13:24 Salute all them that have the rule over you, and all the saints. They
of Italy salute you.
13:25 ○ 은혜가 너희 모든 사람에게 있을지어다
13:25 May grace be with you all.
13:25 Grace be with you all. Amen.
