1:1 유다 왕 웃시야와 요담과 아하스와 히스기야 시대에 아모스의 아들 이사야가
유다와 예루살렘에 대하여 본 이상이라
1:1 The vision of Isaiah, the son of Amoz, which he saw about Judah and Jerusalem, in
the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
1:1 The vision of Isaiah the son of Amoz, which he saw concerning Judah and
Jerusalem in the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah.
1:2 ○ 하늘이여 들으라 땅이여 귀를 기울이라 여호와께서 말씀하시기를 내가
자식을 양육하였거늘 그들이 나를 거역하였도다
1:2 Give ear, O heavens, and you, O earth, to the word which the Lord has said: I have
taken care of my children till they became men, but their hearts have been turned
away from me.
1:2 Hear, O heavens, and give ear, O earth: for the LORD has spoken, I have
nourished and brought up children, and they have rebelled against me.
1:3 소는 그 임자를 알고 나귀는 주인의 구유를 알건마는 이스라엘은 알지 못하고
나의 백성은 깨닫지 못하는도다 하셨도다
1:3 Even the ox has knowledge of its owner, and the ass of the place where its master
puts its food: but Israel has no knowledge, my people give no thought to me.
1:3 The ox knows his owner, and the ass his master's crib: but Israel does
not know, my people does not consider.
1:4 슬프다 범죄한 나라요 허물진 백성이요 행악의 종자요 행위가 부패한 자식이로다
그들이 여호와를 버리며 이스라엘의 거룩한 자를 만홀히 여겨 멀리하고 물러갔도다
1:4 O nation full of sin, a people weighted down with crime, a generation of evil-doers,
false-hearted children: they have gone away from the Lord, they have no respect
for the Holy One of Israel, their hearts are turned back from him.
1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers,
children that are corrupters: they have forsaken the LORD, they have provoked
the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
1:5 너희가 어찌하여 매를 더 맞으려고 더욱 더욱 패역하느냐 온 머리는 병들었고
온 마음은 피곤하였으며
1:5 Why will you have more and more punishment? why keep on in your evil ways? Every
head is tired and every heart is feeble.
1:5 Why should all of you be stricken any more? all of you will revolt more
and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
1:6 발바닥에서 머리까지 성한 곳이 없이 상한 것과 터진 것과 새로 맞은 흔적뿐이어늘
그것을 짜며 싸매며 기름으로 유하게 함을 받지 못하였도다
1:6 The body, from head to foot, is all diseased; it is a mass of open wounds, marks
of blows, and broken flesh: the flow of blood has not been stopped, and no oil has
been put on the wounds.
1:6 From the sole of the foot even unto the head there is no soundness in
it; but wounds, and bruises, and rotting sores: they have not been closed, neither
bound up, neither mollified with ointment.
1:7 너희 땅은 황무하였고 너희 성읍들은 불에 탔고 너희 토지는 너희 목전에
이방인에게 삼키웠으며 이방인에게 파괴됨 같이 황무하였고
1:7 Your country has become waste; your towns are burned with fire; as for your land,
it is overturned before your eyes, made waste and overcome by men from strange lands.
1:7 Your country is desolate, your cities are burned with fire: your land,
strangers devour it in your presence, and it is desolate, as overthrown by strangers.
1:8 딸 시온은 포도원의 망대 같이, 원두밭의 상직막 같이, 에워싸인 성읍 같이
겨우 남았도다
1:8 And the daughter of Zion has become like a tent in a vine-garden, like a watchman's
house in a field of fruit, like a town shut in by armies.
1:8 And the daughter of Zion is left as a cottage in a vineyard, as a lodge
in a garden of cucumbers, as a besieged city.
1:9 만군의 여호와께서 우리를 위하여 조금 남겨두지 아니하셨더면 우리가 소돔
같고 고모라 같았었으리로다
1:9 If the Lord of armies had not kept some at least of us safe, we would have been
like Sodom, and the fate of Gomorrah would have been ours.
1:9 Except the LORD of hosts had left unto us a very small remnant, we should
have been as Sodom, and we should have been like unto Gomorrah.
1:10 ○ 너희 소돔의 관원들아 여호와의 말씀을 들을지어다 너희 고모라의 백성아
우리 하나님의 법에 귀를 기울일지어다
1:10 Give ear to the word of the Lord, you rulers of Sodom; let your hearts be turned
to the law of our God, you people of Gomorrah.
1:10 Hear the word of the LORD, all of you rulers of Sodom; give ear unto
the law of our God, all of you people of Gomorrah.
1:11 여호와께서 말씀하시되 너희의 무수한 제물이 내게 무엇이 유익하뇨 나는
수양의 번제와 살진 짐승의 기름에 배불렀고 나는 수송아지나 어린 양이나 수염소의
피를 기뻐하지 아니하노라
1:11 What use to me is the number of the offerings which you give me? says the Lord;
your burned offerings of sheep, and the best parts of fat cattle, are a weariness
to me; I take no pleasure in the blood of oxen, or of lambs, or of he-goats.
1:11 To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto me? says the
LORD: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and
I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.
1:12 너희가 내 앞에 보이러 오니 그것을 누가 너희에게 요구하였느뇨 내 마당만
밟을 뿐이니라
1:12 At whose request do you come before me, making my house unclean with your feet?
1:12 When all of you come to appear before me, who has required this at your
hand, to tread my courts?
1:13 헛된 제물을 다시 가져오지 말라 분향은 나의 가증히 여기는 바요 월삭과
안식일과 대회로 모이는 것도 그러하니 성회와 아울러 악을 행하는 것을 내가 견디지
못하겠노라
1:13 Give me no more false offerings; the smoke of burning flesh is disgusting to me,
so are your new moons and Sabbaths and your holy meetings.
1:13 Bring no more vain oblations; incense is an abomination unto me; the
new moons and sabbaths, the calling of assemblies, I cannot away with; it is
iniquity, even the solemn meeting.
1:14 내 마음이 너희의 월삭과 정한 절기를 싫어하나니 그것이 내게 무거운 짐이라
내가 지기에 곤비하였느니라
1:14 Your new moons and your regular feasts are a grief to my soul: they are a weight
in my spirit; I am crushed under them.
1:14 Your new moons and your appointed feasts my soul hates: they are a trouble
unto me; I am weary to bear them.
1:15 너희가 손을 펼 때에 내가 눈을 가리우고 너희가 많이 기도할지라도 내가
듣지 아니하리니 이는 너희의 손에 피가 가득함이니라
1:15 And when your hands are stretched out to me, my eyes will be turned away from you:
even though you go on making prayers, I will not give ear: your hands are full of
blood.
1:15 And when all of you spread forth your hands, I will hide mine eyes from
you: yea, when all of you make many prayers, I will not hear: your hands are
full of blood.
1:16 너희는 스스로 씻으며 스스로 깨끗케 하여 내 목전에서 너희 악업을 버리며
악행을 그치고
1:16 Be washed, make yourselves clean; put away the evil of your doings from before my
eyes; let there be an end of sinning;
1:16 Wash you, make you clean; put away the evil of your doings from before
mine eyes; cease to do evil;
1:17 선행을 배우며 공의를 구하며 학대 받는 자를 도와 주며 고아를 위하여 신원하며
과부를 위하여 변호하라 하셨느니라
1:17 Take pleasure in well-doing; let your ways be upright, keep down the cruel, give
a right decision for the child who has no father, see to the cause of the widow.
1:17 Learn to do well; seek judgment, relieve the oppressed, judge the fatherless,
plead for the widow.
1:18 ○ 여호와께서 말씀하시되 오라 우리가 서로 변론하자 너희 죄가 주홍 같을
지라도 눈과 같이 희어질 것이요 진홍 같이 붉을지라도 양털 같이 되리라
1:18 Come now, and let us have an argument together, says the Lord: how may your sins
which are red like blood be white as snow? how may their dark purple seem like wool?
1:18 Come now, and let us reason together, says the LORD: though your sins
be as scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they be red like crimson,
they shall be as wool.
1:19 너희가 즐겨 순종하면 땅의 아름다운 소산을 먹을 것이요
1:19 If you will give ear to my word and do it, the good things of the land will be yours;
1:19 If all of you be willing and obedient, all of you shall eat the good
of the land:
1:20 너희가 거절하여 배반하면 칼에 삼키우리라 여호와의 입의 말씀이니라
1:20 But if your hearts are turned against me, I will send destruction on you by the
sword; so the Lord has said.
1:20 But if all of you refuse and rebel, all of you shall be devoured with
the sword: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
1:21 ○ 신실하던 성읍이 어찌하여 창기가 되었는고 공평이 거기 충만하였고 의리가
그 가운데 거하였었더니 이제는 살인자들 뿐이었도다
1:21 The upright town has become untrue; there was a time when her judges gave right
decisions, when righteousness had a resting-place in her, but now she is full of
those who take men's lives.
1:21 How is the faithful city become an harlot! it was full of judgment;
righteousness lodged in it; but now murderers.
1:22 네 은은 찌끼가 되었고 너의 포도주에는 물이 섞였도다
1:22 Your silver is no longer true metal, your wine is mixed with water.
1:22 Your silver is become dross, your wine mixed with water:
1:23 네 방백들은 패역하여 도적과 짝하며 다 뇌물을 사랑하며 사례물을 구하며
고아를 위하여 신원치 아니하며 과부의 송사를 수리치 아니하는도다
1:23 Your chiefs have gone against the Lord, they have become friends of thieves; every
one of them is looking for profit and going after rewards; they do not give right
decisions for the child who has no father, and they do not let the cause of the
widow come before them.
1:23 Your princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves: every one loves
gifts, and follows after rewards: they judge not the fatherless, neither does
the cause of the widow come unto them.
1:24 ○ 그러므로 주 만군의 여호와 이스라엘의 전능자가 말씀하시되 슬프다 내가
장차 내 대적에게 보응하여 내 마음을 편케 하겠고 내 원수에게 보수하겠으며
1:24 For this reason the Lord, the Lord of armies, the Strong One of Israel, has said,
I will put an end to my haters, and send punishment on those who are against me;
1:24 Therefore says the LORD, the LORD of hosts, the mighty One of Israel,
Ah, I will ease me of mine adversaries, and avenge me of mine enemies:
1:25 내가 또 나의 손을 네게 돌려 너의 찌끼를 온전히 청결하여 버리며 너의
혼잡물을 다 제하여 버리고
1:25 And my hand will again be on you, washing away what is unclean as with soap, and
taking away all your false metal;
1:25 And I will turn my hand upon you, and thoroughly purge away your dross,
and take away all your tin:
1:26 내가 너의 사사들을 처음과 같이, 너의 모사들을 본래와 같이 회복할 것이라
그리한 후에야 네가 의의 성읍이라, 신실한 고을이라 칭함이 되리라 하셨나니
1:26 And I will give you judges again as at the first, and wise guides as in the past;
then you will be named, The Town of Righteousness, the true town.
1:26 And I will restore your judges as at the first, and your counsellors
as at the beginning: afterward you shall be called, The city of righteousness,
the faithful city.
1:27 시온은 공평으로 구속이 되고 그 귀정한 자는 의로 구속이 되리라
1:27 Upright acts will be the price of Zion's forgiveness, and by righteousness will
men be living there.
1:27 Zion shall be redeemed with judgment, and her converts with righteousness.
1:28 그러나 패역한 자와 죄인은 함께 패망하고 여호와를 버린 자도 멸망할 것이라
1:28 But a common destruction will overtake sinners and evil-doers together, and those
who have gone away from the Lord will be cut off.
1:28 And the destruction of the transgressors and of the sinners shall be
together, and they that forsake the LORD shall be consumed.
1:29 너희가 너희의 기뻐하던 상수리나무로 인하여 부끄러움을 당할 것이요 너희가
너희의 택한 동산으로 인하여 수치를 당할 것이며
1:29 For you will be put to shame because of the trees of your desire, and because of
the gardens of your pleasure.
1:29 For they shall be ashamed of the oaks which all of you have desired,
and all of you shall be confounded for the gardens that all of you have chosen.
1:30 너희는 잎사귀 마른 상수리나무 같을 것이요 물 없는 동산 같으리니
1:30 For you will be like a tree whose leaves have become dry, and like a garden without
water.
1:30 For all of you shall be as an oak whose leaf fades, and as a garden
that has no water.
1:31 강한 자는 삼오라기 같고 그의 행위는 불티 같아서 함께 탈 것이나 끌 사람이
없으리라
1:31 And the strong will be as food for the fire, and his work as a flame; and they will
be burned together, with no one to put out the fire.
1:31 And the strong shall be as tow, and the maker of it as a spark, and
they shall both burn together, and none shall quench them.
2:1 아모스의 아들 이사야가 받은 바 유다와 예루살렘에 관한 말씀이라
2:1 The word which Isaiah, the son of Amoz, saw about Judah and Jerusalem.
2:1 The word that Isaiah the son of Amoz saw concerning Judah and Jerusalem.
2:2 ○ 말일에 여호와의 전의 산이 모든 산 꼭대기에 굳게 설 것이요 모든 작은
산 위에 뛰어나리니 만방이 그리로 모여들 것이라
2:2 And it will come about in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord will be placed
on the top of the mountains, and be lifted up over the hills; and all nations will
come to it.
2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the
LORD's house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be
exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.
2:3 많은 백성이 가며 이르기를 오라 우리가 여호와의 산에 오르며 야곱의 하나님의
전에 이르자 그가 그 도로 우리에게 가르치실 것이라 우리가 그 길로 행하리라 하리니
이는 율법이 시온에서부터 나올 것이요 여호와의 말씀이 예루살렘에서부터 나올 것임이니라
2:3 And the peoples will say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to
the house of the God of Jacob: and he will give us knowledge of his ways, and we
will be guided by his word; for out of Zion the law will go out, and the word of
the Lord from Jerusalem.
2:3 And many people shall go and say, Come all of you, and let us go up to
the mountain of the LORD, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach
us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth
the law, and the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
2:4 그가 열방 사이에 판단하시며 많은 백성을 판결하시리니 무리가 그 칼을 쳐서
보습을 만들고 그 창을 쳐서 낫을 만들 것이며 이 나라와 저 나라가 다시는 칼을
들고 서로 치지 아니하며 다시는 전쟁을 연습지 아니하리라
2:4 And he will be the judge between the nations, and the peoples will be ruled by his
decisions: and their swords will be turned into plough-blades, and their spears
into vine-knives: no longer will the nations be turning their swords against one
another, and the knowledge of war will be gone for ever.
2:4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and
they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruning
hooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn
war any more.
2:5 ○ 야곱 족속아 오라 우리가 여호와의 빛에 행하자
2:5 O family of Jacob, come, and let us go in the light of the Lord.
2:5 O house of Jacob, come all of you, and let us walk in the light of the LORD.
2:6 주께서 주의 백성 야곱 족속을 버리셨음은 그들에게 동방 풍속이 가득하며
그들이 블레셋 사람 같이 술객이 되며 이방인으로 더불어 손을 잡아 언약하였음이라
2:6 For you, O Lord, have given up your people, the family of Jacob, because they are
full of the evil ways of the east, and make use of secret arts like the Philistines,
and are friends with the children of strange countries.
2:6 Therefore you have forsaken your people the house of Jacob, because they
be replenished from the east, and are soothsayers like the Philistines, and
they please themselves in the children of strangers.
2:7 그 땅에는 은금이 가득하고 보화가 무한하며 그 땅에는 마필이 가득하고 병거가
무수하며
2:7 And their land is full of silver and gold, and there is no end to their stores;
their land is full of horses, and there is no end to their carriages.
2:7 Their land also is full of silver and gold, neither is there any end
of their treasures; their land is also full of horses, neither is there any
end of their chariots:
2:8 그 땅에는 우상도 가득하므로 그들이 자기 손으로 짓고 자기 손가락으로 만든
것을 공경하여
2:8 Their land is full of images; they give worship to the work of their hands, even
to that which their fingers have made.
2:8 Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own
hands, that which their own fingers have made:
2:9 천한 자도 절하며 귀한 자도 굴복하오니 그들을 용서하지 마옵소서
2:9 And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face: for this
cause there will be no forgiveness for their sin.
2:9 And the mean man bows down, and the great man humbles himself: therefore
forgive them not.
2:10 너희는 바위 틈에 들어가며 진토에 숨어 여호와의 위엄과 그 광대하심의
영광을 피하라
2:10 Go into a hole in the rock, covering yourselves with dust, in fear of the Lord,
before the glory of his power.
2:10 Enter into the rock, and hide you in the dust, for fear of the LORD,
and for the glory of his majesty.
2:11 그 날에 눈이 높은 자가 낮아지며 교만한 자가 굴복되고 여호와께서 홀로
높임을 받으시리라
2:11 The high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made low,
and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.
2:11 The lofty looks of man shall be humbled, and the haughtiness of men
shall be bowed down, and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
2:12 ○ 대저 만군의 여호와의 한 날이 모든 교만자와 거만자와 자고한 자에게
임하여 그들로 낮아지게 하고
2:12 For the day of the Lord of armies is coming on all the pride of men, and on all
who are high and lifted up;
2:12 For the day of the LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that is proud
and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low:
2:13 또 레바논의 높고 높은 모든 백향목과 바산의 모든 상수리나무와
2:13 And on all the high trees of Lebanon, and on all the strong trees of Bashan;
2:13 And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and
upon all the oaks of Bashan,
2:14 모든 높은 산과 모든 솟아오른 작은 산과
2:14 And on all the high mountains, and on all the hills which are lifted up;
2:14 And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted
up,
2:15 모든 높은 망대와 견고한 성벽과
2:15 And on every high tower, and on every strong wall;
2:15 And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall,
2:16 다시스의 모든 배와 모든 아름다운 조각물에 임하리니
2:16 And on all the ships of Tarshish, and on all the fair boats.
2:16 And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures.
2:17 그 날에 자고한 자는 굴복되며 교만한 자는 낮아지고 여호와께서 홀로 높임을
받으실 것이요
2:17 And the high looks of man will be put to shame, and the pride of men will be made
low: and only the Lord will be lifted up in that day.
2:17 And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of
men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day.
2:18 우상들은 온전히 없어질 것이며
2:18 And the images will never be seen again.
2:18 And the idols he shall utterly abolish.
2:19 사람들이 암혈과 토굴로 들어가서 여호와께서 일어나사 땅을 진동시키는
그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피할 것이라
2:19 And men will go into cracks of the rocks, and into holes of the earth, for fear
of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place,
shaking the earth with his strength.
2:19 And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of
the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arises
to shake terribly the earth.
2:20 사람이 숭배하려고 만들었던 그 은 우상과 금 우상을 그 날에 두더쥐와 박쥐에게
던지고
2:20 In that day men will put their images of silver and of gold, which they made for
worship, in the keeping of the beasts of the dark places;
2:20 In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold,
which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats;
2:21 암혈과 험악한 바위틈에 들어가서 여호와께서 일어나사 땅을 진동시키시는
그의 위엄과 그 광대하심의 영광을 피하리라
2:21 To take cover in the cracks of the rocks, and in the holes of the hills, for fear
of the Lord, and before the glory of his power, when he comes out of his place,
shaking the earth with his strength.
2:21 To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the tops of the rugged
rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he arises
to shake terribly the earth.
2:22 너희는 인생을 의지하지 말라 그의 호흡은 코에 있나니 수에 칠 가치가 어디
있느뇨
2:22 Have no more to do with man, whose life is only a breath, for he is of no value.
2:22 Cease all of you from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein
is he to be accounted of ?
3:1 보라 주 만군의 여호와께서 예루살렘과 유다의 의뢰하며 의지하는 것을 제하여
버리시되 곧 그 의뢰하는 모든 양식과 그 의뢰하는 모든 물과
3:1 For the Lord, the Lord of armies, is about to take away from Jerusalem and from
Judah all their support; their store of bread and of water;
3:1 For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, does take away from Jerusalem
and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole
stay of water.
3:2 용사와 전사와 재판관과 선지자와 복술자와 장로와
3:2 The strong man and the man of war; the judge and the prophet; the man who has knowledge
of secret arts, and the man who is wise because of his years;
3:2 The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the
prudent, and the ancient,
3:3 오십부장과 귀인과 모사와 공교한 장인과 능란한 요술자를 그리 하실 것이며
3:3 The captain of fifty, and the man of high position, and the wise guide, and the
wonder-worker, and he who makes use of secret powers.
3:3 The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and
the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator.
3:4 그가 또 아이들로 그들의 방백을 삼으시며 적자들로 그들을 다스리게 하시리니
3:4 And I will make children their chiefs, and foolish ones will have rule over them.
3:4 And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over
them.
3:5 백성이 서로 학대하며 각기 이웃을 잔해하며 아이가 노인에게, 비천한 자가
존귀한 자에게 교만할 것이며
3:5 And the people will be crushed, every one by his neighbour; the young will be full
of pride against the old, and those of low position will be lifted up against the
noble.
3:5 And the people shall be oppressed, every one by another, and every one
by his neighbour: the child shall behave himself proudly against the ancient,
and the base against the honourable.
3:6 혹시 사람이 그 아비의 집에서 그 형제를 붙잡고 말하기를 너는 의복이 오히려
있으니 우리 관장이 되어 이 멸망을 네 수하에 두라 할 것이면
3:6 When one man puts his hand on another in his father's house, and says, You have
clothing, be our ruler and be responsible for us in our sad condition:
3:6 When a man shall take hold of his brother of the house of his father,
saying, You have clothing, be you our ruler, and let this ruin be under your
hand:
3:7 그 날에 그가 소리를 높여 이르기를 나는 고치는 자가 되지 않겠노라 내 집에는
양식도 없고 의복도 없으니 너희는 나로 백성의 관장을 삼지 말라 하리라
3:7 Then he will say with an oath, I will not be a helper, for in my house there is
no bread or clothing: I will not let you make me a ruler of the people.
3:7 In that day shall he swear, saying, I will not be an healer; for in my
house is neither bread nor clothing: make me not a ruler of the people.
3:8 예루살렘이 멸망하였고 유다가 엎드러졌음은 그들의 언어와 행위가 여호와를
거스려서 그 영광의 눈을 촉범하였음이라
3:8 For Jerusalem has become feeble, and destruction has come on Judah, because their
words and their acts are against the Lord, moving the eyes of his glory to wrath.
3:8 For Jerusalem is ruined, and Judah is fallen: because their tongue and
their doings are against the LORD, to provoke the eyes of his glory.
3:9 그들의 안색이 스스로 증거하며 그 죄를 발표하고 숨기지 아니함이 소돔과
같으니 그들의 영혼에 화가 있을진저 그들이 재앙을 자취하였도다
3:9 Their respect for a man's position is a witness against them; and their sin is open
to the view of all; like that of Sodom, it is not covered. A curse on their soul!
for the measure of their sin is full.
3:9 The show of their countenance does witness against them; and they declare
their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded
evil unto themselves.
3:10 너희는 의인에게 복이 있으리라 말하라 그들은 그 행위의 열매를 먹을 것임이요
3:10 Happy is the upright man! for he will have joy of the fruit of his ways.
3:10 Say all of you to the righteous, that it shall be well with him: for
they shall eat the fruit of their doings.
3:11 악인에게는 화가 있으리니 화가 있을 것은 그 손으로 행한 대로 보응을 받을
것임이니라
3:11 Unhappy is the sinner! for the reward of his evil doings will come on him.
3:11 Woe unto the wicked! it shall be ill with him: for the reward of his
hands shall be given him.
3:12 내 백성을 학대하는 자는 아이요 관할하는 자는 부녀라 나의 백성이여 너의
인도자가 너를 유혹하여 너의 다닐 길을 훼파하느니라
3:12 As for my people, their ruler is acting like a child, and those who have authority
over them are women. O my people, your guides are the cause of your wandering, turning
your footsteps out of the right way.
3:12 As for my people, children are their oppressors, and women rule over
them. O my people, they which lead you cause you to go astray, and destroy the
way of your paths.
3:13 ○ 여호와께서 변론하러 일어나시며 백성들을 심판하려고 서시도다
3:13 The Lord is ready to take up his cause against his people, and is about to come
forward as their judge.
3:13 The LORD stands up to plead, and stands to judge the people.
3:14 여호와께서 그 백성의 장로들과 방백들을 국문하시되 포도원을 삼킨 자는
너희며 가난한 자에게서 탈취한 물건은 너희 집에 있도다
3:14 The Lord comes to be the judge of their responsible men and of their rulers: it
is you who have made waste the vine-garden, and in your houses is the property of
the poor which you have taken by force.
3:14 The LORD will enter into judgment with the ancients of his people, and
the princes thereof: for all of you have eaten up the vineyard; the spoil of
the poor is in your houses.
3:15 어찌하여 너희가 내 백성을 짓밟으며 가난한 자의 얼굴에 맷돌질하느뇨
주 만군의 여호와 내가 말하였느니라 하시리로다
3:15 By what right are you crushing my people, and putting a bitter yoke on the necks
of the poor? This is the word of the Lord, the Lord of armies.
3:15 What mean all of you that all of you beat my people to pieces, and grind
the faces of the poor? says the Lord GOD of hosts.
3:16 ○ 여호와께서 또 말씀하시되 시온의 딸들이 교만하여 늘인 목, 정을 통하는
눈으로 다니며 아기죽거려 행하며 발로는 쟁쟁한 소리를 낸다 하시도다
3:16 Again, the Lord has said, Because the daughters of Zion are full of pride, and go
with outstretched necks and wandering eyes, with their foot-chains sounding when
they go:
3:16 Moreover the LORD says, Because the daughters of Zion are haughty, and
walk with stretched forth necks and wanton eyes, walking and moving enticingly
as they go, and making a tinkling with their feet:
3:17 그러므로 주께서 시온의 딸들의 정수리에 딱지가 생기게 하시며 여호와께서
그들의 하체로 드러나게 하시리라
3:17 The Lord will send disease on the heads of the daughters of Zion, and the Lord will
let their secret parts be seen.
3:17 Therefore the LORD will strike with a scab the crown of the head of
the daughters of Zion, and the LORD will discover their secret parts.
3:18 주께서 그 날에 그들의 장식한 발목 고리와 머리의 망사와 반달 장식과
3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the glory of their foot-rings, and their sun-jewels,
and their moon-ornaments,
3:18 In that day the Lord will take away the bravery of their tinkling ornaments
about their feet, and their cauls, and their round tires like the moon,
3:19 귀 고리와 팔목 고리와 면박과
3:19 The ear-rings, and the chains, and the delicate clothing,
3:19 The chains, and the bracelets, and the covering for the lower part of
the face,
3:20 화관과 발목 사슬과 띠와 향합과 호신부와
3:20 The head-bands, and the arm-chains, and the worked bands, and the perfume-boxes,
and the jewels with secret powers,
3:20 The bonnets, and the ornaments of the legs, and the headbands, and the
tablets, and the earrings,
3:21 지환과 코 고리와
3:21 The rings, and the nose-jewels,
3:21 The rings, and nose jewels,
3:22 예복과 겉옷과 목도리와 손 주머니와
3:22 The feast-day dresses, and the robes, and the wide skirts, and the handbags,
3:22 The changeable suits of apparel, and the mantles, and the wimples, and
the crisping pins,
3:23 손 거울과 세마포 옷과 머리 수건과 너울을 제하시리니
3:23 The looking-glasses, and the fair linen, and the high head-dresses, and the veils.
3:23 The glasses, and the fine linen, and the hoods, and the vails.
3:24 그 때에 썩은 냄새가 향을 대신하고 노끈이 띠를 대신하고 대머리가 숱한
머리털을 대신하고 굵은 베옷이 화려한 옷을 대신하고 자자한 흔적이 고운 얼굴을
대신할 것이며
3:24 And in the place of sweet spices will be an evil smell, and for a fair band a thick
cord; for a well-dressed head there will be the cutting-off of the hair, and for
a beautiful robe there will be the clothing of sorrow; the mark of the prisoner
in place of the ornaments of the free.
3:24 And it shall come to pass, that instead of sweet smell there shall be
stink; and instead of a girdle a rent; and instead of well set hair baldness;
and instead of a stomacher a girding of sackcloth; and burning instead of beauty.
3:25 너희 장정은 칼에, 너희 용사는 전란에 망할 것이며
3:25 Your men will be put to the sword, and your men of war will come to destruction
in the fight.
3:25 Your men shall fall by the sword, and your mighty in the war.
3:26 그 성문은 슬퍼하며 곡할 것이요 시온은 황무하여 땅에 앉으리라
3:26 And in the public places of her towns will be sorrow and weeping; and she will be
seated on the earth, waste and uncovered.
3:26 And her gates shall lament and mourn; and she being desolate shall sit
upon the ground.
4:1 그 날에 일곱 여자가 한 남자를 붙잡고 말하기를 우리가 우리 떡을 먹으며
우리 옷을 입으리니 오직 당신의 이름으로 우리를 칭하게 하여 우리로 수치를 면케하라
하리라
4:1 And in that day seven women will put their hands on one man, saying, There will
be no need for you to give us food or clothing, only let us go under your name,
so that our shame may be taken away.
4:1 And in that day seven women shall take hold of one man, saying, We will
eat our own bread, and wear our own apparel: only let us be called by your name,
to take away our reproach.
4:2 ○ 그 날에 여호와의 싹이 아름답고 영화로울 것이요 그 땅의 소산은 이스라엘의
피난한 자를 위하여 영화롭고 아름다울 것이며
4:2 In that day will the young growth of the Lord be beautiful in glory, and the fruit
of the earth will be the pride of those who are still living in Israel.
4:2 In that day shall the branch of the LORD be beautiful and glorious, and
the fruit of the earth shall be excellent and comely for them that are escaped
of Israel.
4:3 시온에 남아 있는 자, 예루살렘에 머물러 있는 자 곧 예루살렘에 있어 생존한
자 중 녹명된 모든 사람은 거룩하다 칭함을 얻으리니
4:3 And it will come about that the rest of the living in Zion, and of those who have
been kept from destruction in Jerusalem, will be named holy, even everyone who has
been recorded for life in Jerusalem:
4:3 And it shall come to pass, that he that is left in Zion, and he that
remains in Jerusalem, shall be called holy, even every one that is written among
the living in Jerusalem:
4:4 이는 주께서 그 심판하는 영과 소멸하는 영으로 시온의 딸들의 더러움을 씻으시며
예루살렘의 피를 그 중에서 청결케 하실 때가 됨이라
4:4 When Zion has been washed from her sin by the Lord, and Jerusalem made clean from
her blood by a judging and a burning wind.
4:4 When the Lord shall have washed away the filth of the daughters of Zion,
and shall have purged the blood of Jerusalem from the midst thereof by the spirit
of judgment, and by the spirit of burning.
4:5 여호와께서 그 거하시는 온 시온 산과 모든 집회 위에 낮이면 구름과 연기,
밤이면 화염의 빛을 만드시고 그 모든 영광 위에 천막을 덮으실 것이며
4:5 And over every living-place on Mount Zion, all over all her meetings, the Lord will
make a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming fire by night, for over
all, the glory of the Lord will be a cover and a tent;
4:5 And the LORD will create upon every dwelling place of mount Zion, and
upon her assemblies, a cloud and smoke by day, and the shining of a flaming
fire by night: for upon all the glory shall be a defence.
4:6 또 천막이 있어서 낮에는 더위를 피하는 그늘을 지으며 또 풍우를 피하여
숨는 곳이 되리라
4:6 And a shade in the daytime from the heat, and a safe cover from storm and from rain.
4:6 And there shall be a tabernacle for a shadow in the day time from the
heat, and for a place of refuge, and for a covert from storm and from rain.
5:1 내가 나의 사랑하는 자를 위하여 노래하되 나의 사랑하는 자의 포도원을 노래하리라
나의 사랑하는 자에게 포도원이 있음이여 심히 기름진 산에로다
5:1 Let me make a song about my loved one, a song of love for his vine-garden. My loved
one had a vine-garden on a fertile hill:
5:1 Now will I sing to my beloved a song of my beloved concerning his vineyard.
My beloved has a vineyard in a very fruitful hill:
5:2 땅을 파서 돌을 제하고 극상품 포도나무를 심었었도다 그 중에 망대를 세웠고
그 안에 술틀을 팠었도다 좋은 포도 맺기를 바랐더니 들포도를 맺혔도다
5:2 And after working the earth of it with a spade, he took away its stones, and put
in it a very special vine; and he put up a watchtower in the middle of it, hollowing
out in the rock a place for the grape-crushing; and he was hoping that it would
give the best grapes, but it gave common grapes.
5:2 And he fenced it, and gathered out the stones thereof, and planted it
with the best vine, and built a tower in the midst of it, and also made a winepress
therein: and he looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it brought forth
wild grapes.
5:3 ○ 예루살렘 거민과 유다 사람들아 구하노니 이제 나와 내 포도원 사이에
판단하라
5:3 And now, you people of Jerusalem and you men of Judah, be the judges between me
and my vine-garden.
5:3 And now, O inhabitants of Jerusalem, and men of Judah, judge, I pray
you, between me and my vineyard.
5:4 내가 내 포도원을 위하여 행한 것 외에 무엇을 더할 것이 있었으랴 내가 좋은
포도 맺기를 기다렸거늘 들포도를 맺힘은 어찜인고
5:4 Is there anything which might have been done for my vine-garden which I have not
done? why then, when I was hoping for the best grapes did it give me common grapes?
5:4 What could have been done more to my vineyard, that I have not done in
it? wherefore, when I looked that it should bring forth grapes, brought it forth
wild grapes?
5:5 이제 내가 내 포도원에 어떻게 행할 것을 너희에게 이르리라 내가 그 울타리를
걷어 먹힘을 당케 하며 그 담을 헐어 짓밟히게 할 것이요
5:5 And now, this is what I will do to my vine-garden: I will take away the circle of
thorns round it, and it will be burned up; its wall will be broken down and the
beasts of the field will go through it;
5:5 And now go to; I will tell you what I will do to my vineyard: I will
take away the hedge thereof, and it shall be eaten up; and break down the wall
thereof, and it shall be trodden down:
5:6 내가 그것으로 황무케 하리니 다시는 가지를 자름이나 북을 돋우지 못하여
질려와 형극이 날 것이며 내가 또 구름을 명하여 그 위에 비를 내리지 말라 하리라
하셨으니
5:6 And I will make it waste; its branches will not be touched with the knife, or the
earth worked with the spade; but blackberries and thorns will come up in it: and
I will give orders to the clouds not to send rain on it.
5:6 And I will lay it waste: it shall not be pruned, nor dug; but there shall
come up briers and thorns: I will also command the clouds that they rain no
rain upon it.
5:7 대저 만군의 여호와의 포도원은 이스라엘 족속이요 그의 기뻐하시는 나무는
유다 사람이라 그들에게 공평을 바라셨더니 도리어 포학이요 그들에게 의로움을 바라셨더니
도리어 부르짖음이었도다
5:7 For the vine-garden of the Lord of armies is the people of Israel, and the men of
Judah are the plant of his delight: and he was looking for upright judging, and
there was blood; for righteousness, and there was a cry for help.
5:7 For the vineyard of the LORD of hosts is the house of Israel, and the
men of Judah his pleasant plant: and he looked for judgment, but behold oppression;
for righteousness, but behold a cry.
5:8 ○ 가옥에 가옥을 연하며 전토에 전토를 더하여 빈 틈이 없도록 하고 이 땅
가운데서 홀로 거하려 하는 그들은 화 있을진저
5:8 Cursed are those who are joining house to house, and putting field to field, till
there is no more living-space for any but themselves in all the land!
5:8 Woe unto them that join house to house, that lay field to field, till
there be no place, that they may be placed alone in the midst of the earth!
5:9 만군의 여호와께서 내 귀에 말씀하시되 정녕히 허다한 가옥이 황폐하리니
크고 아름다울지라도 거할 자가 없을 것이며
5:9 The Lord of armies has said to me secretly, Truly, numbers of great and fair houses
will be waste, with no one living in them.
5:9 In mine ears said the LORD of hosts, Truthfully many houses shall be
desolate, even great and fair, without inhabitant.
5:10 열흘 갈이 포도원에 겨우 포도주 한 바트가 나겠고 한 호멜지기에는 간신히
한 에바가 나리라 하시도다
5:10 For ten fields of vines will only give one measure of wine, and a great amount of
seed will only give a small measure of grain.
5:10 Yea, ten acres of vineyard shall yield one bath, and the seed of an
homer shall yield an ephah.
5:11 아침에 일찌기 일어나 독주를 따라가며 밤이 깊도록 머물러 포도주에 취하는
그들은 화 있을진저
5:11 Cursed are those who get up early in the morning to give themselves up to strong
drink; who keep on drinking far into the night till they are heated with wine!
5:11 Woe unto them that rise up early in the morning, that they may follow
strong drink; that continue until night, till wine inflame them!
5:12 그들이 연회에는 수금과 비파와 소고와 저와 포도주를 갖추었어도 여호와의
행하심을 관심치 아니하며 그의 손으로 하신 일을 생각지 아니하는도다
5:12 And corded instruments and wind-instruments and wine are in their feasts: but they
give no thought to the work of the Lord, and they are not interested in what his
hands are doing.
5:12 And the harp, and the viol, the timbrel, and pipe, and wine, are in
their feasts: but they regard not the work of the LORD, neither consider the
operation of his hands.
5:13 이러므로 나의 백성이 무지함을 인하여 사로잡힐 것이요 그 귀한 자는 주릴
것이요 무리는 목마를 것이며
5:13 For this cause my people are taken away as prisoners into strange countries for
need of knowledge: and their rulers are wasted for need of food, and their loud-voiced
feasters are dry for need of water.
5:13 Therefore my people are gone into captivity, because they have no knowledge:
and their honourable men are famished, and their multitude dried up with thirst.
5:14 음부가 그 욕망을 크게 내어 한량 없이 그 입을 벌린즉 그들의 호화로움과
그들의 많은 무리와 그들의 떠드는 것과 그 중에서 연락하는 자가 거기 빠질 것이라
5:14 For this cause the underworld has made wide its throat, opening its mouth without
limit: and her glory, and the noise of her masses, and her loud-voiced feasters,
will go down into it.
5:14 Therefore hell has enlarged herself, and opened her mouth without measure:
and their glory, and their multitude, and their pomp, and he that rejoices,
shall descend into it.
5:15 천한 자는 굴복되고 귀한 자는 낮아지고 오만한 자의 눈도 낮아질 것이로되
5:15 And the poor man's head is bent, and the great man goes down on his face, and the
eyes of pride are put to shame:
5:15 And the mean man shall be brought down, and the mighty man shall be
humbled, and the eyes of the lofty shall be humbled:
5:16 오직 만군의 여호와는 공평하므로 높임을 받으시며 거룩하신 하나님은 의로우시므로
거룩하다 함을 받으시리니
5:16 But the Lord of armies is lifted up as judge, and the Holy God is seen to be holy
in righteousness.
5:16 But the LORD of hosts shall be exalted in judgment, and God that is
holy shall be sanctified in righteousness.
5:17 그 때에는 어린 양들이 자기 초장에 있는 것 같이 먹을 것이요 살진 자의
황무한 밭의 소산은 유리하는 자들이 먹으리라
5:17 Then the lambs will get food as in their grass-lands, and the fat cattle will be
feasting in the waste places.
5:17 Then shall the lambs feed after their manner, and the waste places of
the fat ones shall strangers eat.
5:18 ○ 거짓으로 끈을 삼아 죄악을 끌며 수레 줄로 함 같이 죄악을 끄는 자는
화 있을진저
5:18 Cursed are those who make use of ox-cords for pulling the evil thing, and the bands
of a young ox for their sin!
5:18 Woe unto them that draw iniquity with cords of vanity, and sin as it
were with a cart rope:
5:19 그들이 이르기를 그는 그 일을 속속히 이루어 우리로 보게 할 것이며 이스라엘의
거룩한 자는 그 도모를 속히 임하게 하여 우리로 알게 할 것이라 하는도다
5:19 Who say, Let him do his work quickly, let him make it sudden, so that we may see
it: let the design of the Holy One of Israel come near, so that it may be clear
to us.
5:19 That say, Let him make speed, and hasten his work, that we may see it:
and let the counsel of the Holy One of Israel draw nigh and come, that we may
know it!
5:20 악을 선하다 하며 선을 악하다 하며 흑암으로 광명을 삼으며 광명으로 흑암을
삼으며 쓴 것으로 단 것을 삼으며 단 것으로 쓴 것을 삼는 그들은 화 있을진저
5:20 Cursed are those who give the name of good to evil, and of evil to what is good:
who make light dark, and dark light: who make bitter sweet, and sweet bitter!
5:20 Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness
for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for
bitter!
5:21 스스로 지혜롭다 하며 스스로 명철하다 하는 그들은 화 있을진저
5:21 Cursed are those who seem wise to themselves, and who take pride in their knowledge!
5:21 Woe unto them that are wise in their own eyes, and prudent in their
own sight!
5:22 포도주를 마시기에 용감하며 독주를 빚기에 유력한 그들은 화 있을진저
5:22 Cursed are those who are strong to take wine, and great in making mixed drinks!
5:22 Woe unto them that are mighty to drink wine, and men of strength to
mingle strong drink:
5:23 그들은 뇌물로 인하여 악인을 의롭다 하고 의인에게서 그 의를 빼았는도다
5:23 Who for a reward give support to the cause of the sinner, and who take away the
righteousness of the upright from him.
5:23 Which justify the wicked for reward, and take away the righteousness
of the righteous from him!
5:24 ○ 이로 인하여 불꽃이 그루터기를 삼킴 같이, 마른 풀이 불 속에 떨어짐 같이 그들의 뿌리가 썩겠고 꽃이 티끌처럼 날리리니 그들이 만군의 여호와의 율법을
버리며 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자의 말씀을 멸시하였음이라
5:24 For this cause, as the waste of the grain is burned up by tongues of fire, and as
the dry grass goes down before the flame, so their root will be like the dry stems
of grain, and their flower will go up in dust: because they have gone against the
law of the Lord of armies, and have given no honour to the word of the Holy One
of Israel.
5:24 Therefore as the fire devours the stubble, and the flame consumes the
chaff, so their root shall be as rottenness, and their blossom shall go up as
dust: because they have cast away the law of the LORD of hosts, and despised
the word of the Holy One of Israel.
5:25 그러므로 여호와께서 자기 백성에게 노를 발하시고 손을 들어 그들을 치신지라
산들은 진동하며 그들의 시체는 거리 가운데 분토 같이 되었으나 그 노가 돌아서지
아니하였고 그 손이 오히려 펴졌느니라
5:25 For this reason the wrath of the Lord has been burning against his people, and his
hand has been stretched out against them in punishment, and the hills were shaking,
and their dead bodies were like waste in the open places of the town.
5:25 Therefore is the anger of the LORD kindled against his people, and he
has stretched forth his hand against them, and has smitten them: and the hills
did tremble, and their carcasses were torn in the midst of the streets. For
all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
5:26 ○ 기를 세우시고 먼 나라들을 불러 땅 끝에서부터 오게 하실 것이라 보라
그들이 빨리 달려올 것이로되
5:26 And he will let a flag be lifted up as a sign to a far-off nation, whistling to
them from the ends of the earth: and they will come quickly and suddenly.
5:26 And he will lift up an explicit sign to the nations from far, and will
hiss unto them from the end of the earth: and, behold, they shall come with
speed swiftly:
5:27 그 중에 곤핍하여 넘어지는 자도 없을 것이며 조는 자나 자는 자도 없을
것이며 그들의 허리띠는 풀리지 아니하며 그들의 신들메는 끊어지지 아니하며
5:27 There is no weariness among them, and no man is feeble-footed: they come without
resting or sleeping, and the cord of their shoes is not broken.
5:27 None shall be weary nor stumble among them; none shall slumber nor sleep;
neither shall the girdle of their loins be loosed, nor the latchet of their
shoes be broken:
5:28 그들의 살은 날카롭고 모든 활은 당기어졌으며 그 말굽은 부싯돌 같고 차
바퀴는 회리바람 같을 것이며
5:28 Their arrows are sharp, and every bow is bent: the feet of their horses are like
rock, and their wheels are like a rushing storm.
5:28 Whose arrows are sharp, and all their bows bent, their horses' hoofs
shall be counted like flint, and their wheels like a whirlwind:
5:29 그 부르짖는 것은 암사자 같을 것이요 그 소리 지름은 어린 사자들과 같을
것이라 그들이 부르짖으며 물건을 움키어 염려 없이 가져가도 건질 자가 없으리로다
5:29 The sound of their armies will be like the voice of a lion, and their war-cry like
the noise of young lions: with loud cries they will come down on their food and
will take it away safely, and there will be no one to take it out of their hands.
5:29 Their roaring shall be like a lion, they shall roar like young lions:
yea, they shall roar, and lay hold of the prey, and shall carry it away safe,
and none shall deliver it.
5:30 그 날에 그들이 바다 물결 소리 같이 백성을 향하여 부르짖으리니 사람이
그 땅을 바라보면 흑암과 고난이 있고 빛은 구름에 가리워져서 어두우리라
5:30 And his voice will be loud over him in that day like the sounding of the sea: and
if a man's eyes are turned to the earth, it is all dark and full of trouble; and
the light is made dark by thick clouds.
5:30 And in that day they shall roar against them like the roaring of the
sea: and if one look unto the land, behold darkness and sorrow, and the light
is darkened in the heavens thereof.
6:1 웃시야 왕의 죽던 해에 내가 본즉 주께서 높이 들린 보좌에 앉으셨는데 그
옷자락은 성전에 가득하였고
6:1 In the year of King Uzziah's death I saw the Lord seated in his place, high and
lifted up, and the Temple was full of the wide skirts of his robe.
6:1 In the year that king Uzziah died I saw also the LORD sitting upon a
throne, high and lifted up, and his train filled the temple.
6:2 스랍들은 모셔 섰는데 각기 여섯 날개가 있어 그 둘로는 그 얼굴을 가리었고
그 둘로는 그 발을 가리었고 그 둘로는 날며
6:2 Over him were the winged ones: every one had six wings; two for covering his face,
two for covering his feed, and two for flight.
6:2 Above it stood the seraphims: each one had six wings; with two he covered
his face, and with two he covered his feet, and with two he did fly.
6:3 서로 창화하여 가로되 거룩하다 거룩하다 거룩하다 만군의 여호와여 그 영광이
온 땅에 충만하도다
6:3 And one said in a loud voice to another, Holy, holy, holy, is the Lord of armies:
all the earth is full of his glory.
6:3 And one cried unto another, and said, Holy, holy, holy, is the LORD of
hosts: the whole earth is full of his glory.
6:4 이같이 창화하는 자의 소리로 인하여 문지방의 터가 요동하며 집에 연기가
충만한지라
6:4 And the bases of the door-pillars were shaking at the sound of his cry, and the
house was full of smoke.
6:4 And the posts of the door moved at the voice of him that cried, and the
house was filled with smoke.
6:5 그 때에 내가 말하되 화로다 나여 망하게 되었도다 나는 입술이 부정한 사람이요
입술이 부정한 백성 중에 거하면서 만군의 여호와이신 왕을 뵈었음이로다
6:5 Then I said, The curse is on me, and my fate is destruction; for I am a man of unclean
lips, living among a people of unclean lips; for my eyes have seen the King, the
Lord of armies.
6:5 Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean
lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have
seen the King, the LORD of hosts.
6:6 ○ 때에 그 스랍의 하나가 화저로 단에서 취한 바 핀 숯을 손에 가지고 내게로
날아와서
6:6 Then a winged one came to me with a burning coal in his hand, which he had taken
from off the altar with the fire-spoon.
6:6 Then flew one of the seraphims unto me, having a live coal in his hand,
which he had taken with the tongs from off the altar:
6:7 그것을 내 입에 대며 가로되 보라 이것이 네 입에 닿았으니 네 악이 제하여졌고
네 죄가 사하여졌느니라 하더라
6:7 And after touching my mouth with it, he said, See, your lips have been touched with
this; and your evil is taken away, and you are made clean from sin.
6:7 And he laid it upon my mouth, and said, Lo, this has touched your lips;
and yours iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.
6:8 내가 또 주의 목소리를 들은즉 이르시되 내가 누구를 보내며 누가 우리를
위하여 갈꼬 그 때에 내가 가로되 내가 여기 있나이다 나를 보내소서
6:8 And the voice of the Lord came to my ears, saying, Whom am I to send, and who will
go for us? Then I said, Here am I, send me.
6:8 Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who
will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.
6:9 여호와께서 가라사대 가서 이 백성에게 이르기를 너희가 듣기는 들어도 깨닫지
못할 것이요 보기는 보아도 알지 못하리라 하여
6:9 And he said, Go, and say to this people, You will go on hearing, but learning nothing;
you will go on seeing, but without getting wiser.
6:9 And he said, Go, and tell this people, Hear all of you indeed, but understand
not; and see all of you indeed, but perceive not.
6:10 이 백성의 마음으로 둔하게 하며 그 귀가 막히고 눈이 감기게 하라 염려컨대
그들이 눈으로 보고 귀로 듣고 마음으로 깨닫고 다시 돌아와서 고침을 받을까 하노라
6:10 Make the hearts of this people fat, and let their ears be stopped, and their eyes
shut; for fear that they may see with their eyes, and be hearing with their ears,
and their heart may become wise, and they may be turned to me and made well.
6:10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut
their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand
with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
6:11 내가 가로되 주여 어느 때까지니이까 대답하시되 성읍들은 황폐하여 거민이
없으며 가옥들에는 사람이 없고 이 토지가 전폐하게 되며
6:11 Then I said, Lord, how long? And he said in answer, Till the towns are waste and
unpeopled, and the houses have no men, and the land becomes completely waste,
6:11 Then said I, Lord, how long? And he answered, Until the cities be wasted
without inhabitant, and the houses without man, and the land be utterly desolate,
6:12 사람들이 여호와께 멀리 옮기워서 이 땅 가운데 폐한 곳이 많을 때까지니라
6:12 And the Lord has taken men far away, and there are wide waste places in the land.
6:12 And the LORD have removed men far away, and there be a great forsaking
in the midst of the land.
6:13 그 중에 십분의 일이 오히려 남아 있을지라도 이것도 삼키운 바 될 것이나
밤나무, 상수리나무가 베임을 당하여도 그 그루터기는 남아 있는 것 같이 거룩한
씨가 이 땅의 그루터기니라
6:13 And even if there is still a tenth part in it, it will again be burned, like a tree
of the woods whose broken end is still in the earth after the tree has been cut
down (the holy seed is the broken end).
6:13 But yet in it shall be a tenth, and it shall return, and shall be eaten:
as a teil tree, and as an oak, whose substance is in them, when they cast their
leaves: so the holy seed shall be the substance thereof.
7:1 웃시야의 손자요 요담의 아들인 유다 왕 아하스 때에 아람 왕 르신과 르말리야의
아들 이스라엘 왕 베가가 올라와서 예루살렘을 쳤으나 능히 이기지 못하니라
7:1 Now it came about in the days of Ahaz, the son of Jotham, the son of Uzziah, king
of Judah, that Rezin, the king of Aram, and Pekah, the son of Remaliah, the king
of Israel, came up to Jerusalem to make war against it, but were not able to overcome
it.
7:1 And it came to pass in the days of Ahaz the son of Jotham, the son of
Uzziah, king of Judah, that Rezin the king of Syria, and Pekah the son of Remaliah,
king of Israel, went up toward Jerusalem to war against it, but could not prevail
against it.
7:2 혹이 다윗 집에 고하여 가로되 아람이 에브라임과 동맹하였다 하였으므로
왕의 마음과 그 백성의 마음이 삼림이 바람에 흔들림 같이 흔들렸더라
7:2 And word came to the family of David that Aram had put up its tents in Ephraim.
And the king's heart, and the hearts of his people, were moved, like the trees of
the wood shaking in the wind.
7:2 And it was told the house of David, saying, Syria is confederate with
Ephraim. And his heart was moved, and the heart of his people, as the trees
of the wood are moved with the wind.
7:3 ○ 때에 여호와께서 이사야에게 이르시되 너와 네 아들 스알야숩은 윗못 수도
끝 세탁자의 밭 큰 길에 나가서 아하스를 만나
7:3 Then the Lord said to Isaiah, Go out now, you and Shear-jashub, your son, and you
will come across Ahaz at the end of the stream flowing from the higher pool, in
the highway of the washerman's field;
7:3 Then said the LORD unto Isaiah, Go forth now to meet Ahaz, you, and Shearjashub
your son, at the end of the conduit of the upper pool in the highway of the
launderer's field;
7:4 그에게 이르기를 너는 삼가며 종용하라 아람 왕 르신과 르말리야의 아들이
심히 노할지라도 연기 나는 두 부지깽이 그루터기에 불과하니 두려워 말며 낙심치
말라
7:4 And say to him, Take care and be quiet; have no fear, and do not let your heart
be feeble, because of these two ends of smoking fire-wood, because of the bitter
wrath of Rezin and Aram, and of the son of Remaliah.
7:4 And say unto him, Take heed, and be quiet; fear not, neither be fainthearted
for the two tails of these smoking firebrands, for the fierce anger of Rezin
with Syria, and of the son of Remaliah.
7:5 아람과 에브라임 왕과 르말리야의 아들이 악한 꾀로 너를 대적하여 이르기를
7:5 Because Aram has made evil designs against you, saying,
7:5 Because Syria, Ephraim, and the son of Remaliah, have taken evil counsel
against you, saying,
7:6 우리가 올라가 유다를 쳐서 그것을 곤하게 하고 우리를 위하여 그것을 파하고
다브엘의 아들을 그 중에 세워 왕을 삼자 하였으나
7:6 Let us go up against Judah, troubling her, and forcing our way into her, and let
us put up a king in her, even the son of Tabeel:
7:6 Let us go up against Judah, and vex it, and let us make a breach therein
for us, and set a king in the midst of it, even the son of Tabeal:
7:7 주 여호와의 말씀에 이 도모가 서지 못하며 이루지 못하리라
7:7 This is the word of the Lord God: This design will not come about or be effected.
7:7 Thus says the Lord GOD, It shall not stand, neither shall it come to
pass.
7:8-9 대저 아람의 머리는 다메섹이요 다메섹의 머리는 르신이며 에브라임의 머리는
사마리아요 사마리아의 머리는 르말리야의 아들이라도 육십 오 년 내에 에브라임이
패하여 다시는 나라를 이루지 못하리라 만일 너희가 믿지 아니하면 정녕히 굳게 서지
못하리라 하셨다 할지니라
7:8 For the head of Aram is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin (and in sixty-five
years from now Ephraim will be broken, and will no longer be a people):
7:8 For the head of Syria is Damascus, and the head of Damascus is Rezin;
and within threescore and five years shall Ephraim be broken, that it be not
a people.
7:9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's son. If
you will not have faith, your kingdom will be broken.
7:9 And the head of Ephraim is Samaria, and the head of Samaria is Remaliah's
son. If all of you will not believe, surely all of you shall not be established.
7:10 ○ 여호와께서 또 아하스에게 일러 가라사대
7:10 And Isaiah said again to Ahaz,
7:10 Moreover the LORD spoke again unto Ahaz, saying,
7:11 너는 네 하나님 여호와께 한 징조를 구하되 깊은 데서든지 높은 데서든지
구하라
7:11 Make a request to the Lord your God for a sign, a sign in the deep places of the
underworld, or in the high heavens.
7:11 Ask you a sign of the LORD your God; ask it either in the depth, or
in the height above.
7:12 아하스가 가로되 나는 구하지 아니하겠나이다 나는 여호와를 시험치 아니하겠나이다
한지라
7:12 But Ahaz said, I will not put the Lord to the test by making such a request.
7:12 But Ahaz said, I will not ask, neither will I tempt the LORD.
7:13 이사야가 가로되 다윗의 집이여 청컨대 들을지어다 너희가 사람을 괴롭게
하고 그것을 작은 일로 여겨서 또 나의 하나님을 괴로우시게 하려느냐
7:13 And he said, Give ear now, O family of David: is it not enough that you are driving
men to disgust? will you do the same to my God?
7:13 And he said, Hear all of you now, O house of David; Is it a small thing
for you to weary men, but will all of you weary my God also?
7:14 그러므로 주께서 친히 징조로 너희에게 주실 것이라 보라 처녀가 잉태하여
아들을 낳을 것이요 그 이름을 임마누엘이라 하리라
7:14 For this cause the Lord himself will give you a sign; a young woman is now with
child, and she will give birth to a son, and she will give him the name Immanuel.
7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall
conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.
7:15 그가 악을 버리며 선을 택할 줄 알 때에 미쳐 뻐터와 꿀을 먹을 것이라
7:15 Butter and honey will be his food, when he is old enough to make a decision between
evil and good.
7:15 Butter and honey shall he eat, that he may know to refuse the evil,
and choose the good.
7:16 대저 이 아이가 악을 버리며 선을 택할 줄 알기 전에 너의 미워하는 두 왕의
땅이 폐한 바 되리라
7:16 For before the child is old enough to make a decision between evil and good, the
land whose two kings you are now fearing will have become waste.
7:16 For before the child shall know to refuse the evil, and choose the good,
the land that you abhor shall be forsaken of both her kings.
7:17 여호와께서 에브라임이 유다를 떠날 때부터 당하여 보지 못한 날을 너와
네 백성과 네 아비 집에 임하게 하시리니 곧 앗수르 왕의 오는 날이니라
7:17 The Lord is about to send on you, and on your people, and on your father's house,
such a time of trouble as there has not been from the days of the separating of
Ephraim from Judah; even the coming of the king of Assyria.
7:17 The LORD shall bring upon you, and upon your people, and upon your father's
house, days that have not come, from the day that Ephraim departed from Judah;
even the king of Assyria.
7:18 ○ 그 날에는 여호와께서 애굽 하수에서 먼 지경의 파리와 앗수르 땅의 벌을
부르시리니
7:18 And it will be in that day that the Lord will make a piping sound for the fly which
is in the end of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee which is in the land of Assyria.
7:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the LORD shall hiss for
the fly that is in the uttermost part of the rivers of Egypt, and for the bee
that is in the land of Assyria.
7:19 다 와서 거친 골짜기와 바위 틈과 가시나무 울타리와 모든 초장에 앉으리라
7:19 And they will come, covering all the waste valleys, and the holes of the rocks,
and the thorns, and all the watering-places.
7:19 And they shall come, and shall rest all of them in the desolate valleys,
and in the holes of the rocks, and upon all thorns, and upon all bushes.
7:20 ○ 그 날에는 주께서 하수 저편에서 세내어 온 삭도 곧 앗수르 왕으로 네
백성의 머리 털과 발 털을 미실 것이요 수염도 깎으시리라
7:20 In that day will the Lord take away the hair of the head and of the feet, as well
as the hair of the face, with a blade got for a price from the other side of the
River; even with the king of Assyria.
7:20 In the same day shall the Lord shave with a razor that is hired, namely,
by them beyond the river, by the king of Assyria, the head, and the hair of
the feet: and it shall also consume the beard.
7:21 ○ 그 날에는 사람이 한 어린 암소와 두 양을 기르리니
7:21 And it will be in that day that a man will give food to a young cow and two sheep;
7:21 And it shall come to pass in that day, that a man shall nourish a young
cow, and two sheep;
7:22 그 내는 젖이 많으므로 뻐터를 먹을 것이라 무릇 그 땅 가운데 남아 있는
자는 뻐터와 꿀을 먹으리라
7:22 And they will give so much milk that he will be able to have butter for his food:
for butter and honey will be the food of all who are still living in the land.
7:22 And it shall come to pass, for the abundance of milk that they shall
give he shall eat butter: for butter and honey shall every one eat that is left
in the land.
7:23 ○ 그 날에는 천 주에 은 일천 개의 가치 되는 포도나무 있던 곳마다 질려와
형극이 날 것이라
7:23 And it will be in that day that in every place where before there were a thousand
vines valued at a thousand shekels of silver, there will be nothing but blackberries
and thorns.
7:23 And it shall come to pass in that day, that every place shall be, where
there were a thousand vines at a thousand silver coins, it shall even be for
briers and thorns.
7:24 온 땅에 질려와 형극이 있으므로 살과 활을 가지고 그리로 갈 것이요
7:24 Men will come there with bows and arrows, because all the land will be full of blackberries
and thorns.
7:24 With arrows and with bows shall men come thither; because all the land
shall become briers and thorns.
7:25 보습으로 갈던 산에도 질려와 형극 까닭에 두려워서 그리로 가지 못할 것이요
그 땅은 소를 놓으며 양의 밟는 곳이 되리라
7:25 And they will send out the oxen and the sheep on all the hills which before were
worked with the spade, ... fear of blackberries and thorns.
7:25 And on all hills that shall be dug with the mattock, there shall not
come thither the fear of briers and thorns: but it shall be for the sending
out of oxen, and for the treading of lesser cattle.
8:1 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 너는 큰 서판을 취하여 그 위에 통용 문자로 마헬살랄하스바스라
쓰라
8:1 And the Lord said to me, Take a great writing-board, and on it put down in common
letters, Maher-shalal-hash-baz;
8:1 Moreover the LORD said unto me, Take you a great roll, and write in it
with a man's pen concerning Mahershalalhashbaz.
8:2 내가 진실한 증인 제사장 우리야와 여베레기야의 아들 스가랴를 불러 증거하게
하리라 하시더니
8:2 And take true witnesses to the writing, Uriah the priest, and Zechariah, the son
of Jeberechiah.
8:2 And I took unto me faithful witnesses to record, Uriah the priest, and
Zechariah the son of Jeberechiah.
8:3 내가 내 아내와 동침하매 그가 잉태하여 아들을 낳은지라 여호와께서 내게
이르시되 그 이름을 마헬살랄하스바스라 하라
8:3 And I went in to my wife, and she became with child, and gave birth to a son. Then
the Lord said to me, Give him the name Maher-shalal-hash-baz,
8:3 And I went unto the prophetess; and she conceived, and bare a son. Then
said the LORD to me, Call his name Mahershalalhashbaz.
8:4 이는 이 아이가 내 아빠, 내 엄마라 할 줄 알기 전에 다메섹의 재물과 사마리아의
노략물이 앗수르 왕 앞에 옮긴 바 될 것임이니라
8:4 For before the child is able to say, Father, or, Mother, the wealth of Damascus
and the goods of Samaria will be taken away by the king of Assyria.
8:4 For before the child shall have knowledge to cry, My father, and my mother,
the riches of Damascus and the spoil of Samaria shall be taken away before the
king of Assyria.
8:5 ○ 여호와께서 다시 내게 일러 가라사대
8:5 And the Lord said again to me,
8:5 The LORD spoke also unto me again, saying,
8:6 이 백성이 천천히 흐르는 실로아 물을 버리고 르신과 르말리야의 아들을 기뻐하나니
8:6 Because this people will have nothing to do with the softly-flowing waters of Shiloah,
and have fear of Rezin and Remaliah's son;
8:6 Forasmuch as this people refuses the waters of Shiloah that go softly,
and rejoice in Rezin and Remaliah's son;
8:7 그러므로 주 내가 흉용하고 창일한 큰 하수 곧 앗수르 왕과 그의 모든 위력으로
그들 위에 덮을 것이라 그 모든 곬에 차고 모든 언덕에 넘쳐
8:7 For this cause the Lord is sending on them the waters of the River, deep and strong,
even the king of Assyria and all his glory: and it will come up through all its
streams, overflowing all its edges:
8:7 Now therefore, behold, the Lord brings up upon them the waters of the
river, strong and many, even the king of Assyria, and all his glory: and he
shall come up over all his channels, and go over all his banks:
8:8 흘러 유다에 들어와서 창일하고 목에까지 미치리라 임마누엘이여 그의 펴는
날개가 네 땅에 편만하리라 하셨느니라
8:8 And it will come on into Judah; rushing on and overflowing, till the waters are
up to the neck; *** and his outstretched wings will be covering the land from side
to side: for God is with us.
8:8 And he shall pass through Judah; he shall overflow and go over, he shall
reach even to the neck; and the stretching out of his wings shall fill the breadth
of your land, O Immanuel.
8:9 ○ 너희 민족들아 훤화하라 필경 패망하리라 너희 먼 나라 백성들아 들을지니라
너희 허리를 동이라 필경 패망하리라 너희 허리에 띠를 띠라 필경 패망하리라
8:9 Have knowledge, O peoples, and be in fear; give ear, all you far-off parts of the
earth:
8:9 Associate yourselves, O all of you people, and all of you shall be broken
in pieces; and give ear, all you of far countries: gird yourselves, and all
of you shall be broken in pieces; gird yourselves, and all of you shall be broken
in pieces.
8:10 너희는 함께 도모하라 필경 이루지 못하리라 말을 내어라 시행되지 못하리라
이는 하나님이 우리와 함께 하심이니라
8:10 Let your designs be formed, and they will come to nothing; give your orders, and
they will not be effected: for God is with us.
8:10 Take counsel together, and it shall come to nothing; speak the word,
and it shall not stand: for God is with us.
8:11 여호와께서 강한 손으로 내게 알게 하시며 이 백성의 길로 행치 말 것을
내게 경성시켜 가라사대
8:11 For the Lord, controlling me with a strong hand, gave me orders not to go in the
way of this people, saying,
8:11 For the LORD spoke thus to me with a strong hand, and instructed me
that I should not walk in the way of this people, saying,
8:12 이 백성이 맹약한 자가 있다 말하여도 너희는 그 모든 말을 따라 맹약한
자가 있다 하지 말며 그들의 두려워하는 것을 너희는 두려워하지 말며 놀라지 말고
8:12 Do not say, It is holy, about everything of which this people says, It is holy;
and do not be in fear of what they go in fear of.
8:12 Say all of you not, A confederacy, to all them to whom this people shall
say, A confederacy; neither fear all of you their fear, nor be afraid.
8:13 만군의 여호와 그를 너희가 거룩하다 하고 그로 너희의 두려워하며 놀랄
자를 삼으라
8:13 But let the Lord of armies be holy to you, and go in fear of him, giving honour
to him.
8:13 Sanctify the LORD of hosts himself; and let him be your fear, and let
him be your dread.
8:14 그가 거룩한 피할 곳이 되시리라 그러나 이스라엘의 두 집에는 거치는 돌,
걸리는 반석이 되실 것이며 예루살렘 거민에게는 함정, 올무가 되시리니
8:14 And he will be for a holy place: but for a stone of falling and a rock of trouble
to the two houses of Israel, and to the men of Jerusalem, for a net in which they
may be taken.
8:14 And he shall be for a sanctuary; but for a stone of stumbling and for
a rock of offence to both the houses of Israel, for a animal trap and for a
snare to the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
8:15 ○ 많은 사람들이 그로 인하여 거칠 것이며 넘어질 것이며 부러질 것이며
걸릴 것이며 잡힐 것이니라
8:15 And numbers of them, falling on the stone, will be broken, and will be taken in
the net.
8:15 And many among them shall stumble, and fall, and be broken, and be snared,
and be taken.
8:16 너는 증거의 말씀을 싸매며 율법을 나의 제자 중에 봉함하라
8:16 Let my teaching be kept secret: and my words be given to my disciples only.
8:16 Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples.
8:17 이제 야곱 집에 대하여 낯을 가리우시는 여호와를 나는 기다리며 그를 바라보리라
8:17 And I will be waiting for the Lord, whose face is veiled from the house of Jacob,
and I will be looking for him.
8:17 And I will wait upon the LORD, that hides his face from the house of
Jacob, and I will look for him.
8:18 보라 나와 및 여호와께서 내게 주신 자녀들이 이스라엘 중에 징조와 예표가
되었나니 이는 시온 산에 계신 만군의 여호와께로 말미암은 것이니라
8:18 See, I and the children whom the Lord has given me, are for signs and for wonders
in Israel from the Lord of armies, whose resting-place is in Mount Zion.
8:18 Behold, I and the children whom the LORD has given me are for signs
and for wonders in Israel from the LORD of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion.
8:19 ○ 혹이 너희에게 고하기를 지절거리며 속살거리는 신접한 자와 마술사에게
물으라 하거든 백성이 자기 하나님께 구할 것이 아니냐 산 자를 위하여 죽은 자에게
구하겠느냐 하라
8:19 And when they say to you, Make request for us to those who have control of spirits,
and to those wise in secret arts, who make hollow bird-like sounds; is it not right
for a people to make request to their gods, to make request for the living to the
dead?
8:19 And when they shall say unto you, Seek unto them that have familiar
spirits, and unto wizards that peep, and that mumble: should not a people seek
unto their God? for the living to the dead?
8:20 마땅히 율법과 증거의 말씀을 좇을지니 그들의 말하는 바가 이 말씀에 맞지
아니하면 그들이 정녕히 아침 빛을 보지 못하고
8:20 Then say to them, Put your faith in the teaching and the witness. ... If they do
not say such things. ... For him there is no dawn. ...
8:20 To the law and to the testimony: if they speak not according to this
word, it is because there is no light in them.
8:21 이 땅으로 헤매며 곤고하며 주릴 것이라 그 주릴 때에 번조하여 자기의 왕
자기의 하나님을 저주할 것이며 위를 쳐다보거나
8:21 And he will go through the land in bitter trouble and in need of food; and when
he is unable to get food, he will become angry, cursing his king and his God, and
his eyes will be turned to heaven on high;
8:21 And they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry: and it shall
come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and
curse their king and their God, and look upward.
8:22 땅을 굽어보아도 환난과 흑암과 고통의 흑암 뿐이리니 그들이 심한 흑암 중으로
쫓겨 들어가리라
8:22 And he will be looking down on the earth, and there will be trouble and dark clouds,
black night where there is no seeing.
8:22 And they shall look unto the earth; and behold trouble and darkness,
dimness of anguish; and they shall be driven to darkness.
9:1 전에 고통하던 자에게는 흑암이 없으리로다 옛적에는 여호와께서 스불론 땅과
납달리 땅으로 멸시를 당케 하셨더니 후에는 해변길과 요단 저편 이방의 갈릴리를
영화롭게 하셨느니라
9:1 In earlier times he made the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali of small value,
but after that he gave it glory, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan,
Galilee of the nations.
9:1 Nevertheless the dimness shall not be such as was in her vexation, when
at the first he lightly afflicted the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali,
and afterward did more grievously afflict her by the way of the sea, beyond
Jordan, in Galilee of the nations.
9:2 흑암에 행하던 백성이 큰 빛을 보고 사망의 그늘진 땅에 거하던 자에게 빛이
비취도다
9:2 The people who went in the dark have seen a great light, and for those who were
living in the land of the deepest night, the light is shining.
9:2 The people that walked in darkness have seen a great light: they that
dwell in the land of the shadow of death, upon them has the light shined.
9:3 주께서 이 나라를 창성케 하시며 그 즐거움을 더하게 하셨으므로 추수하는
즐거움과 탈취물을 나누는 때의 즐거움 같이 그들이 주의 앞에서 즐거워하오니
9:3 You have made them very glad, increasing their joy. They are glad before you as
men are glad in the time of getting in the grain, or when they make division of
the goods taken in war.
9:3 You have multiplied the nation, and not increased the joy: they joy before
you according to the joy in harvest, and as men rejoice when they divide the
spoil.
9:4 이는 그들의 무겁게 멘 멍에와 그 어깨의 채찍과 그 압제자의 막대기를 꺾으시되
미디안의 날과 같이 하셨음이니이다
9:4 For by your hand the yoke on his neck and the rod on his back, even the rod of his
cruel master, have been broken, as in the day of Midian.
9:4 For you have broken the yoke of his burden, and the staff of his shoulder,
the rod of his oppressor, as in the day of Midian.
9:5 어지러이 싸우는 군인의 갑옷과 피묻은 복장이 불에 섶 같이 살라지리니
9:5 For every boot of the man of war with his sounding step, and the clothing rolled
in blood, will be for burning, food for the fire.
9:5 For every battle of the warrior is with confused noise, and garments
rolled in blood; but this shall be with burning and fuel of fire.
9:6 이는 한 아기가 우리에게 났고 한 아들을 우리에게 주신 바 되었는데 그 어깨에는
정사를 메었고 그 이름은 기묘자라, 모사라, 전능하신 하나님이라, 영존하시는 아버지라,
평강의 왕이라 할 것임이라
9:6 For to us a child has come, to us a son is given; and the government has been placed
in his hands; and he has been named Wise Guide, Strong God, Father for ever, Prince
of Peace.
9:6 For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government
shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor,
The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace.
9:7 그 정사와 평강의 더함이 무궁하며 또 다윗의 위에 앉아서 그 나라를 굳게
세우고 자금 이후 영원토록 공평과 정의로 그것을 보존하실 것이라 만군의 여호와의
열심이 이를 이루시리라
9:7 Of the increase of his rule and of peace there will be no end, on the seat of David,
and in his kingdom; to make it strong, supporting it with wise decision and righteousness,
now and for ever. By the fixed purpose of the Lord of armies this will be done.
9:7 Of the increase of his government and peace there shall be no end, upon
the throne of David, and upon his kingdom, to order it, and to establish it
with judgment and with justice from henceforth even for ever. The zeal of the
LORD of hosts will perform this.
9:8 ○ 주께서 야곱에게 말씀을 보내시며 그것을 이스라엘에게 임하게 하셨은즉
9:8 The Lord has sent a word to Jacob, and it has come on Israel;
9:8 The Lord sent a word into Jacob, and it has lighted upon Israel.
9:9 모든 백성 곧 에브라임과 사마리아 거민이 알 것이어늘 그들이 교만하고 완악한
마음으로 말하기를
9:9 And all the people will have experience of it, even Ephraim and the men of Samaria,
who say in the pride of their uplifted hearts,
9:9 And all the people shall know, even Ephraim and the inhabitant of Samaria,
that say in the pride and stoutness of heart,
9:10 벽돌이 무너졌으나 우리는 다듬은 돌로 쌓고 뽕나무들이 찍혔으나 우리는
백향목으로 그것을 대신하리라 하도다
9:10 The bricks have come down, but we will put up buildings of cut stone in their place:
the sycamores are cut down, but they will be changed to cedars.
9:10 The bricks are fallen down, but we will build with hewn stones: the
sycomores are cut down, but we will change them into cedars.
9:11 그러므로 여호와께서 르신의 대적을 일으켜 그를 치게 하시며 그 원수들을
격동시키시리니
9:11 For this cause the Lord has made strong the haters of Israel, driving them on to
make war against him;
9:11 Therefore the LORD shall set up the adversaries of Rezin against him,
and join his enemies together;
9:12 앞에는 아람 사람이요 뒤에는 블레셋 사람이라 그들이 그 입을 벌려 이스라엘을
삼키리라 그럴지라도 여호와의 노가 쉬지 아니하며 그 손이 여전히 펴지리라
9:12 Aram on the east, and the Philistines on the west, who have come against Israel
with open mouths. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched
out still.
9:12 The Syrians before, and the Philistines behind; and they shall devour
Israel with open mouth. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand
is stretched out still.
9:13 ○ 이 백성이 오히려 자기들을 치시는 자에게로 돌아오지 아니하며 만군의
여호와를 찾지 아니하도다
9:13 But the heart of the people was not turned to him who sent punishment on them, and
they made no prayer to the Lord of armies.
9:13 For the people turns not unto him that strikes them, neither do they
seek the LORD of hosts.
9:14 이러므로 여호와께서 하루 사이에 이스라엘 중에서 머리와 꼬리며 종려가지와
갈대를 끊으시리니
9:14 For this cause the Lord took away from Israel head and tail, high and low, in one
day.
9:14 Therefore the LORD will cut off from Israel head and tail, branch and
rush, in one day.
9:15 머리는 곧 장로와 존귀한 자요 꼬리는 곧 거짓말을 가르치는 선지자라
9:15 The man who is honoured and responsible is the head, and the prophet who gives false
teaching is the tail.
9:15 The ancient and honourable, he is the head; and the prophet that teaches
lies, he is the tail.
9:16 백성을 인도하는 자가 그들로 미혹케 하니 인도를 받는 자가 멸망을 당하는도다
9:16 For the guides of this people are the cause of their wandering from the right way,
and those who are guided by them come to destruction.
9:16 For the leaders of this people cause them to go astray; and they that
are led of them are destroyed.
9:17 이 백성이 각기 설만하며 악을 행하며 입으로 망령되이 말하니 그러므로
주께서 그 장정을 기뻐 아니하시며 그 고아와 과부를 긍휼히 여기지 아니하시리라
그럴지라도 여호와의 노가 쉬지 아니하며 그 손이 여전히 펴지리라
9:17 For this cause the Lord will have no pleasure in their young men, and no pity on
their widows and the children without fathers: for they are all haters of God and
evil-doers, and foolish words come from every mouth. For all this his wrath is not
turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
9:17 Therefore the LORD shall have no joy in their young men, neither shall
have mercy on their fatherless and widows: for every one is an hypocrite and
an evildoer, and every mouth speaks folly. For all this his anger is not turned
away, but his hand is stretched out still.
9:18 ○ 대저 악행은 불 태우는 것 같으니 곧 질려와 형극을 삼키며 빽빽한 수풀을
살라서 연기로 위로 올라가게 함과 같은 것이라
9:18 For evil was burning like a fire; the blackberries and thorns were burned up; the
thick woods took fire, rolling up in dark clouds of smoke.
9:18 For wickedness burns as the fire: it shall devour the briers and thorns,
and shall kindle in the thickets of the forest, and they shall mount up like
the lifting up of smoke.
9:19 만군의 여호와의 진노로 인하여 이 땅이 소화되리니 백성은 불에 타는 섶나무와
같을 것이라 사람이 그 형제를 아끼지 아니하며
9:19 The land was dark with the wrath of the Lord of armies: the people were like those
who take men's flesh for food.
9:19 Through the wrath of the LORD of hosts is the land darkened, and the
people shall be as the fuel of the fire: no man shall spare his brother.
9:20 우편으로 움킬지라도 주리고 좌편으로 먹을지라도 배부르지 못하여 각각
자기 팔의 고기를 먹을 것이며
9:20 On the right a man was cutting off bits and was still in need; on the left a man
took a meal but had not enough; no man had pity on his brother; every man was making
a meal of the flesh of his neighbour.
9:20 And he shall snatch on the right hand, and be hungry; and he shall eat
on the left hand, and they shall not be satisfied: they shall eat every man
the flesh of his own arm:
9:21 므낫세는 에브라임을, 에브라임은 므낫세를 먹을 것이요 또 그들이 합하여
유다를 치리라 그럴지라도 여호와의 노가 쉬지 아니하며 그 손이 여전히 펴지리라
9:21 Manasseh was making a meal of Ephraim, and Ephraim of Manasseh; and together they
were attacking Judah. For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is
stretched out still.
9:21 Manasseh, Ephraim; and Ephraim, Manasseh: and they together shall be
against Judah. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is stretched
out still.
10:1 불의한 법령을 발포하며 불의한 말을 기록하며
10:1 Cursed are those who make evil decisions, and the writers who make the records of
their cruel acts:
10:1 Woe unto them that decree unrighteous decrees, and that write grievousness
which they have prescribed;
10:2 빈핍한 자를 불공평하게 판결하여 내 백성의 가련한 자의 권리를 박탈하며
과부에게 토색하고 고아의 것을 약탈하는 자는 화 있을진저
10:2 Who do wrong to the poor in their cause, and take away the right of the crushed
among my people, so that they may have the property of widows, and get under their
power those who have no father.
10:2 To turn aside the needy from judgment, and to take away the right from
the poor of my people, that widows may be their prey, and that they may rob
the fatherless!
10:3 너희에게 벌하시는 날에와 멀리서 오는 환난 때에 너희가 어떻게 하려느냐
누구에게로 도망하여 도움을 구하겠으며 너희 영화를 어느 곳에 두려느냐
10:3 And what will you do in the day of punishment, and in the destruction which is coming
from far? to whom will you go for help, and what will become of your glory?
10:3 And what will all of you do in the day of visitation, and in the desolation
which shall come from far? to whom will all of you flee for help? and where
will all of you leave your glory?
10:4 포로 된 자의 아래에 구푸리며 죽임을 당한 자의 아래에 엎드러질 따름이니라
그럴지라도 여호와의 노가 쉬지 아니하며 그 손이 여전히 펴지리라
10:4 ... For all this his wrath is not turned away, but his hand is stretched out still.
10:4 Without me they shall bow down under the prisoners, and they shall fall
under the slain. For all this his anger is not turned away, but his hand is
stretched out still.
10:5 화 있을진저 앗수르 사람이여 그는 나의 진노의 막대기요 그 손의 몽둥이는
나의 분한이라
10:5 Ho! Assyrian, the rod of my wrath, the instrument of my punishment!
10:5 O Assyrian, the rod of mine anger, and the staff in their hand is mine
indignation.
10:6 내가 그를 보내어 한 나라를 치게 하며 내가 그에게 명하여 나의 노한 백성을
쳐서 탈취하며 노략하게 하며 또 그들을 가로상의 진흙 같이 짓밟게 하려 하거늘
10:6 I will send him against a nation of wrongdoers, and against the people of my wrath
I will give him orders, to take their wealth in war, crushing them down like the
dust in the streets.
10:6 I will send him against an hypocritical nation, and against the people
of my wrath will I give him a charge, to take the spoil, and to take the prey,
and to tread them down like the mire of the streets.
10:7 그의 뜻은 이같지 아니하며 그 마음의 생각도 이같지 아니하고 오직 그 마음에
허다한 나라를 파괴하며 멸절하려 하여
10:7 But this is not what is in his mind, and this is not his design; but his purpose
is destruction, and the cutting off of more and more nations.
10:7 Nevertheless he means not so, neither does his heart think so; but it
is in his heart to destroy and cut off nations not a few.
10:8 이르기를 나의 방백들은 다 왕이 아니냐
10:8 For he says, Are not all my captains kings?
10:8 For he says, Are not my princes altogether kings?
10:9 갈로는 갈그미스와 같지 아니하며 하맛은 아르밧과 같지 아니하며 사마리아는
다메섹과 같지 아니하냐
10:9 Will not the fate of Calno be like that of Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is
not Samaria as Damascus?
10:9 Is not Calno as Carchemish? is not Hamath as Arpad? is not Samaria as
Damascus?
10:10 ○ 내 손이 이미 신상을 섬기는 나라에 미쳤나니 그 조각한 신상이 예루살렘과
사마리아의 신상보다 우승하였느니라
10:10 As my hand has come on the kingdoms of the images, whose pictured images were more
in number than those of Jerusalem and Samaria;
10:10 As my hand has found the kingdoms of the idols, and whose graven images
did excel them of Jerusalem and of Samaria;
10:11 내가 사마리아와 그 신상에게 행함 같이 예루살렘과 그 신상에게 행치 못하겠느냐
하도다
10:11 So, as I have done to Samaria and her images, I will do to Jerusalem and her images.
10:11 Shall I not, as I have done unto Samaria and her idols, so do to Jerusalem
and her idols?
10:12 ○ 이러므로 주 내가 나의 일을 시온 산과 예루살렘에 다 행한 후에 앗수르
왕의 완악한 마음의 열매와 높은 눈의 자랑을 벌하리라
10:12 For this cause it will be that, when the purpose of the Lord against Mount Zion
and Jerusalem is complete, I will send punishment on the pride of the heart of the
king of Assyria, and on the glory of his uplifted eyes.
10:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, that when the Lord has performed his
whole work upon mount Zion and on Jerusalem, I will punish the fruit of the
stout heart of the king of Assyria, and the glory of his high looks.
10:13 그의 말에 나는 내 손의 힘과 내 지혜로 이 일을 행하였나니 나는 총명한
자라 열국의 경계를 옮겼고 그 재물을 약탈하였으며 또 용감한 자 같이 위에 거한
자를 낮추었으며
10:13 For he has said, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my knowledge,
for I am wise: and I have taken away the limits of the peoples' lands, and the stores
of their wealth have become mine; and I have made towns low in the dust, sending
destruction on those living in them;
10:13 For he says, By the strength of my hand I have done it, and by my wisdom;
for I am prudent: and I have removed the bounds of the people, and have robbed
their treasures, and I have put down the inhabitants like a valiant man:
10:14 나의 손으로 열국의 재물을 얻은 것은 새의 보금자리를 얻음 같고 온 세계를 얻은 것은 내어버린 알을 주움 같았으나 날개를 치거나 입을 벌리거나 지저귀는 것이
하나도 없었다 하는도다
10:14 And I have put my hands on the wealth of the peoples, as on the place where a bird
has put her eggs; and as a man may take the eggs from which a bird has gone, so
I have taken all the earth for myself: and not a wing was moved, and not a mouth
gave out a sound.
10:14 And my hand has found as a nest the riches of the people: and as one
gathers eggs that are left, have I gathered all the earth; and there was none
that moved the wing, or opened the mouth, or peeped.
10:15 ○ 도끼가 어찌 찍는 자에게 스스로 자랑하겠으며 톱이 어찌 켜는 자에게
스스로 큰 체하겠느냐 이는 막대기가 자기를 드는 자를 움직이려 하며 몽둥이가
나무 아닌 사람을 들려 함과 일반이로다
10:15 Will the axe say high-sounding words against him who is using it, or the blade be
full of pride against him who is cutting with it? As if a rod had the power of shaking
him who is using it, or as if a stick might take up him who is not wood.
10:15 Shall the axe boast itself against him that hews therewith? or shall
the saw magnify itself against him that shakes it? as if the rod should shake
itself against them that lift it up, or as if the staff should lift up itself,
as if it were no wood.
10:16 그러므로 주 만군의 여호와께서 살진 자로 파리하게 하시며 그 영화의 아래에
불이 붙는 것 같이 맹렬히 타게 하실 것이라
10:16 For this cause the Lord, the Lord of armies, will make his fat become wasted; and
in his inner parts a fire will be lighted like a burning flame.
10:16 Therefore shall the Lord, the Lord of hosts, send among his fat ones
leanness; and under his glory he shall kindle a burning like the burning of
a fire.
10:17 이스라엘의 빛은 불이요 그 거룩한 자는 불꽃이라 하루 사이에 그의 형극과
질려가 소멸되며
10:17 And the light of Israel will be for a fire, and his Holy One for a flame: wasting
and burning up his thorns in one day.
10:17 And the light of Israel shall be for a fire, and his Holy One for a
flame: and it shall burn and devour his thorns and his briers in one day;
10:18 그 삼림과 기름진 밭의 영광이 전부 소멸되리니 병인이 점점 쇠약하여 감 같을 것이라
10:18 And he will put an end to the glory of his woods and of his planted fields, soul
and body together; and it will be as when a man is wasted by disease.
10:18 And shall consume the glory of his forest, and of his fruitful field,
both soul and body: and they shall be as when a standard-bearer faints.
10:19 그 삼림에 남은 나무의 수가 희소하여 아이라도 능히 계산할 수 있으리라
10:19 And the rest of the trees of his wood will be small in number, so that a child may
put them down in writing.
10:19 And the rest of the trees of his forest shall be few, that a child
may write them.
10:20 ○ 그 날에 이스라엘의 남은 자와 야곱 족속의 피난한 자들이 다시는 자기를
친 자를 의뢰치 아니하고 이스라엘의 거룩하신 자 여호와를 진실히 의뢰하리니
10:20 And it will be in that day that the rest of Israel, and those of Jacob who have
come safely through these troubles, will no longer go for help to him whose rod
was on their back, but their faith will be in the Lord, the Holy One of Israel.
10:20 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the remnant of Israel,
and such as are escaped of the house of Jacob, shall no more again stay upon
him that stroke them; but shall stay upon the LORD, the Holy One of Israel,
in truth.
10:21 남은 자 곧 야곱의 남은 자가 능하신 하나님께로 돌아올 것이라
10:21 The rest, even the rest of Jacob, will come back to the Strong God.
10:21 The remnant shall return, even the remnant of Jacob, unto the mighty
God.
10:22 이스라엘이여 네 백성이 바다의 모래 같을지라도 남은 자만 돌아오리니
넘치는 공의로 훼멸이 작정되었음이라
10:22 For though your people, O Israel, are as the sand of the sea, only a small number
will come back: for the destruction is fixed, overflowing in righteousness.
10:22 For though your people Israel be as the sand of the sea, yet a remnant
of them shall return: the consumption decreed shall overflow with righteousness.
10:23 이미 작정되었은즉 주 만군의 여호와께서 온 세계 중에 끝까지 행하시리라
10:23 For the Lord, the Lord of armies, is about to make destruction complete in all the
land.
10:23 For the Lord GOD of hosts shall make a consumption, even determined,
in the midst of all the land.
10:24 ○ 주 만군의 여호와께서 가라사대 시온에 거한 나의 백성들아 앗수르 사람이
애굽을 본받아 막대기로 너를 때리며 몽둥이를 들어 너를 칠지라도 그를 두려워 말라
10:24 For this cause the Lord, the Lord of armies, says, O my people living in Zion, have
no fear of the Assyrian, even if his rod comes on your back, and his stick is lifted
up as in Egypt.
10:24 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD of hosts, O my people that dwell in
Zion, be not afraid of the Assyrian: he shall strike you with a rod, and shall
lift up his staff against you, after the manner of Egypt.
10:25 내가 불구에 네게는 분을 그치고 노를 옮겨 그들을 멸하리라 하시도다
10:25 For in a very short time my passion will be over, and my wrath will be turned to
their destruction.
10:25 For yet a very little while, and the indignation shall cease, and mine
anger in their destruction.
10:26 만군의 여호와께서 채찍을 들어 그를 치시되 오렙 반석에서 미디안 사람을
쳐죽이신 것 같이 하실 것이며 막대기를 드시되 바다를 향하여 애굽에 드신 것 같이
하실 것이라
10:26 And the Lord of armies will be shaking a whip against him, as when he overcame Midian
at the rock of Oreb: and his rod will be lifted up against them as it was against
the Egyptians.
10:26 And the LORD of hosts shall stir up a scourge for him according to
the slaughter of Midian at the rock of Oreb: and as his rod was upon the sea,
so shall he lift it up after the manner of Egypt.
10:27 그 날에 그의 무거운 짐이 네 어깨에서 떠나고 그의 멍에가 네 목에서 벗어지되
기름진 까닭에 멍에가 부러지리라
10:27 And in that day the weight which he put on your back will be taken away, and his
yoke broken from off your neck.
10:27 And it shall come to pass in that day, that his burden shall be taken
away from off your shoulder, and his yoke from off your neck, and the yoke shall
be destroyed because of the anointing.
10:28 ○ 앗수르 왕이 아얏에 이르러 미그론을 지나 믹마스에 치중을 머무르고
10:28 He has gone up from Pene-Rimmon, he has come to Aiath; he has gone past Migron,
at Michmash he puts his forces in order.
10:28 He has come to Aiath, he is passed to Migron; at Michmash he has laid
up his carriages:
10:29 영을 넘어 게바에서 유숙하매 라마는 떨고 사울의 기브아 사람은 도망하도다
10:29 They have gone across the mountain; Geba will be our resting-place tonight, they
say: Ramah is shaking with fear; Gibeah of Saul has gone in flight.
10:29 They are gone over the passage: they have taken up their lodging at
Geba; Ramah is afraid; Gibeah of Saul is fled.
10:30 딸 갈림아 큰 소리로 외칠지어다 라이사야 자세히 들을지어다 가련하다
너 아나돗이여
10:30 Give a loud cry, daughter of Gallim; let Laishah give ear; let Anathoth give answer
to her.
10:30 Lift up your voice, O daughter of Gallim: cause it to be heard unto
Laish, O poor Anathoth.
10:31 맛메나 사람은 피난하며 게빔 거민은 도망하도다
10:31 Madmenah has gone; the men of Gebim are putting their goods in a safe place.
10:31 Madmenah is removed; the inhabitants of Gebim gather themselves to
flee.
10:32 이 날에 그가 놉에서 쉬고 딸 시온 산 곧 예루살렘 산을 향하여 그 손을
흔들리로다
10:32 This very day he is stopping at Nob; he is shaking his hand against the mountain
of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
10:32 As yet shall he remain at Nob that day: he shall shake his hand against
the mount of the daughter of Zion, the hill of Jerusalem.
10:33 ○ 주 만군의 여호와께서 혁혁한 위력으로 그 가지를 꺾으시리니 그 장대한
자가 찍힐 것이요 높은 자가 낮아질 것이며
10:33 See, the Lord, the Lord of armies, is cutting off his branches with a great noise,
and his strong ones are falling and his high ones are coming down.
10:33 Behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, shall cut off the bough with terror:
and the high ones of stature shall be hewn down, and the haughty shall be humbled.
10:34 철로 그 빽빽한 삼림을 베시리니 레바논이 권능 있는 자에게 작벌을 당하리라
10:34 And he is cutting down the thick places of the wood with an axe, and Lebanon with
its tall trees is coming down.
10:34 And he shall cut down the thickets of the forest with iron, and Lebanon
shall fall by a mighty one.
