10:1 그때에 여호와께서 내게 이르시기를 너는 처음과 같은 두 돌판을 다듬어
가지고 산에 올라 내게로 나아오고 또 나무궤 하나를 만들라
10:1 At that time the Lord said to me, Make two other stones, cut like the first two,
and come up to me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood.
10:1 At that time the LORD said unto me, Hew you two tables of stone like
unto the first, and come up unto me into the mount, and make you an ark of wood.
10:2 네가 깨뜨린 처음 판에 쓴 말을 내가 그 판에 쓰리니 너는 그것을 그 궤에
넣으라 하시기로
10:2 And I will put on the stones the words which were on the first stones which were
broken by you, and you are to put them into the ark.
10:2 And I will write on the tables the words that were in the first tables
which you brake, and you shall put them in the ark.
10:3 내가 싯딤나무로 궤를 만들고 처음 것과 같은 돌판 둘을 다듬어 손에 들고
산에 오르매
10:3 So I made an ark of hard wood, and had two stones cut like the others, and went
up the mountain with the stones in my hands.
10:3 And I made an ark of shittim wood, and hewed two tables of stone like
unto the first, and went up into the mount, having the two tables in mine hand.
10:4 여호와께서 그 총회 날에 산 위 불 가운데서 너희에게 이르신 십계명을 처음과
같이 그 판에 쓰시고 그것을 내게 주시기로
10:4 And he put on the stones, as in the first writing, the ten rules which the Lord
gave you on the mountain out of the fire on the day of the great meeting: and the
Lord gave the stones to me.
10:4 And he wrote on the tables, according to the first writing, the ten
commandments, which the LORD spoke unto you in the mount out of the midst of
the fire in the day of the assembly: and the LORD gave them unto me.
10:5 내가 돌이켜 산에서 내려와서 여호와께서 내게 명하신 대로 그 판을 내가
만든 궤에 넣었더니 지금까지 있느니라
10:5 And turning round I came down from the mountain and put the stones in the ark which
I had made; and there they are as the Lord gave me orders.
10:5 And I turned myself and came down from the mount, and put the tables
in the ark which I had made; and there they be, as the LORD commanded me.
10:6 (이스라엘 자손이 브에롯 브네야아간에서 발행하여 모세라에 이르러서는
아론이 거기서 죽고 거기 장사되었고 그 아들 엘르아살이 그를 이어 제사장의 직임을
행하였으며
10:6 (And the children of Israel went on from Beeroth Bene-jaakan to Moserah: there death
came to Aaron and he was put to rest in the earth; and Eleazar, his son, took his
place as priest.
10:6 And the children of Israel took their journey from Beeroth of the children
of Jaakan to Mosera: there Aaron died, and there he was buried; and Eleazar
his son ministered in the priest's office in his position.
10:7 또 거기서 발행하여 굿고다에 이르고 굿고다에서 발행하여 욧바다에 이른즉
그 땅에는 시내가 많았었으며
10:7 From there they went on to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of streams
of water.
10:7 From thence they journeyed unto Gudgodah; and from Gudgodah to Jotbath,
a land of rivers of waters.
10:8 그때에 여호와께서 레위 지파를 구별하여 여호와의 언약궤를 메이며 여호와
앞에 서서 그를 섬기며 또 여호와의 이름으로 축복하게 하셨고 그 일은 오늘날까지
이르느니라
10:8 At that time the Lord had the tribe of Levi marked out to take up the ark of the
Lord's agreement, to be before the Lord and to do his work and to give blessings
in his name, to this day.
10:8 At that time the LORD separated the tribe of Levi, to bear the ark of
the covenant of the LORD, to stand before the LORD to minister unto him, and
to bless in his name, unto this day.
10:9 그러므로 레위는 그 형제 중에 분깃이 없으며 기업이 없고 네 하나님 여호와께서
그에게 말씀하심 같이 여호와가 그의 기업이시니라)
10:9 For this reason Levi has no part or heritage for himself among his brothers: the
Lord is his heritage, as the Lord your God said to him.)
10:9 Wherefore Levi has no part nor inheritance with his brethren; the LORD
is his inheritance, according as the LORD your God promised him.
10:10 내가 처음과 같이 사십 주야를 산에서 유하였고 그때에도 여호와께서 내
말을 들으사 너를 참아 멸하지 아니하시고
10:10 And I was in the mountain, as at the first time, for forty days and forty nights;
and again the ears of the Lord were open to my prayer, and he did not send destruction
on you.
10:10 And I stayed in the mount, according to the first time, forty days
and forty nights; and the LORD hearkened unto me at that time also, and the
LORD would not destroy you.
10:11 여호와께서 내게 이르시되 일어나서 백성 앞서 진행하라 내가 그들에게
주리라고 그 열조에게 맹세한 땅에 그들이 들어가서 그것을 얻으리라 하셨느니라
10:11 Then the Lord said to me, Get up and go on your journey before the people, so that
they may go in and take the land which I said in my oath to their fathers that I
would give them.
10:11 And the LORD said unto me, Arise, take your journey before the people,
that they may go in and possess the land, which I swore unto their fathers to
give unto them.
10:12 ○ 이스라엘아 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 요구하시는 것이 무엇이냐 곧
네 하나님 여호와를 경외하여 그 모든 도를 행하고 그를 사랑하며 마음을 다하고
성품을 다하여 네 하나님 여호와를 섬기고
10:12 And now, Israel, what would the Lord your God have you do, but to go in the fear
of the Lord your God, walking in all his ways and loving him and doing his pleasure
with all your heart and all your soul,
10:12 And now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to
fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to love him, and to serve
the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,
10:13 내가 오늘날 네 행복을 위하여 네게 명하는 여호와의 명령과 규례를 지킬
것이 아니냐
10:13 Doing the orders of the Lord and keeping his laws which I give you this day for
your good?
10:13 To keep the commandments of the LORD, and his statutes, which I command
you this day for your good?
10:14 하늘과 모든 하늘의 하늘과 땅과 그 위의 만물은 본래 네 하나님 여호와께
속한 것이로되
10:14 The Lord your God is ruler of heaven, of the heaven of heavens, and of the earth
with everything in it.
10:14 Behold, the heaven and the heaven of heavens is the LORD's your God,
the earth also, with all that therein is.
10:15 여호와께서 오직 네 열조를 기뻐하시고 그들을 사랑하사 그 후손 너희를
만민 중에서 택하셨음이 오늘날과 같으니라
10:15 But the Lord had delight in your fathers and love for them, marking out for himself
their seed after them, even you, from all peoples, as at this day.
10:15 Only the LORD had a delight in your fathers to love them, and he chose
their seed after them, even you above all people, as it is this day.
10:16 그러므로 너희는 마음에 할례를 행하고 다시는 목을 곧게 하지 말라
10:16 Let your circumcision be of the heart, and put away your pride.
10:16 Circumcise therefore the foreskin of your heart, and be no more stubborn.
10:17 너희의 하나님 여호와는 신의 신이시며 주의 주시요 크고 능하시며 두려우신
하나님이시라 사람을 외모로 보지 아니하시며 뇌물을 받지 아니하시고
10:17 For the Lord your God is God of gods and Lord of lords, the great God, strong in
power and greatly to be feared, who has no respect for any man's position and takes
no rewards:
10:17 For the LORD your God is God of gods, and Lord of lords, a great God,
a mighty, and a terrible, which regards not persons, nor takes reward:
10:18 고아와 과부를 위하여 신원하시며 나그네를 사랑하사 그에게 식물과 의복을
주시나니
10:18 Judging uprightly in the cause of the widow and of the child who has no father,
and giving food and clothing in his mercy to the man from a strange country.
10:18 He does execute the judgment of the fatherless and widow, and loves
the stranger, in giving him food and raiment.
10:19 너희는 나그네를 사랑하라 전에 너희도 애굽 땅에서 나그네 되었었음이니라
10:19 So be kind to the man from a strange country who is living among you, for you yourselves
were living in a strange country in the land of Egypt.
10:19 Love all of you therefore the stranger: for all of you were strangers
in the land of Egypt.
10:20 네 하나님 여호와를 경외하여 그를 섬기며 그에게 친근히 하고 그 이름으로
맹세하라
10:20 Let the fear of the Lord your God be before you, give him worship and be true to
him at all times, taking your oaths in his name.
10:20 You shall fear the LORD your God; him shall you serve, and to him shall
you cleave, and swear by his name.
10:21 그는 네 찬송이시요 네 하나님이시라 네가 목도한 바 이같이 크고 두려운
일을 너를 위하여 행하셨느니라
10:21 He is your God, the God of your praise, your God who has done for you all these
works of power which your eyes have seen.
10:21 He is your praise, and he is your God, that has done for you these
great and terrible things, which yours eyes have seen.
10:22 애굽에 내려간 네 열조가 겨우 칠십 인이었으나 이제는 네 하나님 여호와께서
너를 하늘의 별 같이 많게 하셨느니라
10:22 Your fathers went down into Egypt with seventy persons; and now the Lord your God
has made you like the stars of heaven in number.
10:22 Your fathers went down into Egypt with threescore and ten persons;
and now the LORD your God has made you as the stars of heaven for multitude.
11:1 그런즉 네 하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 그 직임과 법도와 규례와 명령을 항상
지키라
11:1 So have love for the Lord your God, and give him worship, and keep his laws and
his decisions and his orders at all times.
11:1 Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his charge, and
his statutes, and his judgments, and his commandments, always.
11:2 너희의 자녀는 알지도 못하고 보지도 못하였으나 너희가 오늘날 기억할 것은
너희 하나님 여호와의 징계와 그 위엄과 그 강한 손과 펴신 팔과
11:2 And be certain in your minds this day; for these words are not said to your children,
who have had no experience of the training of the Lord your God, and who have not
seen his great power or his strong hand and his stretched-out arm,
11:2 And know all of you this day: for I speak not with your children which
have not known, and which have not seen the chastisement of the LORD your God,
his greatness, his mighty hand, and his stretched out arm,
11:3 애굽에서 그 왕 바로와 그 전국에 행하신 이적과 기사와
11:3 Or his signs and wonders which he did in Egypt, to Pharaoh, king of Egypt, and all
his land;
11:3 And his miracles, and his acts, which he did in the midst of Egypt unto
Pharaoh the king of Egypt, and unto all his land;
11:4 또 여호와께서 애굽 군대와 그 말과 그 병거에 행하신 일 곧 그들이 너희를
따를 때에 홍해 물로 그들을 덮어 멸하사 오늘까지 이른 것과
11:4 And what he did to the army of Egypt, to their horses and their war-carriages; how
he made the waters of the Red Sea come up over them when they went after you, and
how the Lord put an end to them even to this day;
11:4 And what he did unto the army of Egypt, unto their horses, and to their
chariots; how he made the water of the Red sea to overflow them as they pursued
after you, and how the LORD has destroyed them unto this day;
11:5 또 너희가 이곳에 이르기까지 광야에서 너희에게 행하신 일과
11:5 And what he did for you in the waste land, till you came to this place;
11:5 And what he did unto you in the wilderness, until all of you came into
this place;
11:6 르우벤 자손 엘리압의 아들 다답과 아비람에게 하신 일 곧 온 이스라엘의
한가운데서 땅으로 입을 열어서 그들과 그 가족과 그 장막과 그를 따르는 모든 샘물을
삼키게 하신 일이라
11:6 And what he did to Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of Reuben; when
they went down into the open mouth of the earth, with their families and their tents
and every living thing which was theirs, before the eyes of all Israel:
11:6 And what he did unto Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, the son of
Reuben: how the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their households,
and their tents, and all the substance that was in their possession, in the
midst of all Israel:
11:7 너희가 여호와의 행하신 이 모든 큰 일을 목도하였느니라
11:7 But your eyes have seen all the great works of the Lord which he has done.
11:7 But your eyes have seen all the great acts of the LORD which he did.
11:8 ○ 그러므로 너희는 내가 오늘날 너희에게 명하는 모든 명령을 지키라 그리하면
너희가 강성할 것이요 너희가 건너가서 얻을 땅에 들어가서 그것을 얻을 것이며
11:8 So keep all the orders which I give you today, so that you may be strong, and go
in and take the land which is to be your heritage;
11:8 Therefore shall all of you keep all the commandments which I command
you this day, that all of you may be strong, and go in and possess the land,
where all of you go to possess it;
11:9 또 여호와께서 너희의 열조에게 맹세하사 그와 그 후손에게 주리라고 하신
땅 곧 젖과 꿀이 흐르는 땅에서 너희의 날이 장구하리라
11:9 And that your days may be long in the land which the Lord gave by an oath to your
fathers and to their seed after them, a land flowing with milk and honey.
11:9 And that all of you may prolong your days in the land, which the LORD
swore unto your fathers to give unto them and to their seed, a land that flows
with milk and honey.
11:10 네가 들어가 얻으려 하는 땅은 네가 나온 애굽 땅과 같지 아니하니 거기서는
너희가 파종한 후에 발로 물 대기를 채소 밭에 댐과 같이 하였거니와
11:10 For the land where you are going is not like the land of Egypt from which you have
come, where you put in your seeds, watering them with your foot, like a planted
garden:
11:10 For the land, where you go in to possess it, is not as the land of
Egypt, from whence all of you came out, where you sowed your seed, and watered
it with your foot, as a garden of herbs:
11:11 너희가 건너가서 얻을 땅은 산과 골짜기가 있어서 하늘에서 내리는 비를
흡수하는 땅이요
11:11 But the land where you are going is a land of hills and valleys, drinking in the
rain of heaven:
11:11 But the land, where all of you go to possess it, is a land of hills
and valleys, and drinks water of the rain of heaven:
11:12 네 하나님 여호와께서 권고하시는 땅이라 세초부터 세말까지 네 하나님
여호와의 눈이 항상 그 위에 있느니라
11:12 A land cared for by the Lord your God: the eyes of the Lord your God are on it at
all times from one end of the year to the other.
11:12 A land which the LORD your God cares for: the eyes of the LORD your
God are always upon it, from the beginning of the year even unto the end of
the year.
11:13 ○ 내가 오늘날 너희에게 명하는 나의 명령을 너희가 만일 청종하고 너희의
하나님 여호와를 사랑하여 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 섬기면
11:13 And it will be that if you truly give ear to the orders which I put before you this
day, loving the Lord your God and worshipping him with all your heart and all your
soul,
11:13 And it shall come to pass, if all of you shall hearken diligently unto
my commandments which I command you this day, to love the LORD your God, and
to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,
11:14 여호와께서 너희 땅에 이른 비, 늦은 비를 적당한 때에 내리시리니 너희가
곡식과 포도주와 기름을 얻을 것이요
11:14 Then I will send rain on your land at the right time, the early rains and the late
rains, so that you may get in your grain and your wine and your oil.
11:14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first
rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your corn, and your wine, and
yours oil.
11:15 또 육축을 위하여 들에 풀이 나게 하시리니 네가 먹고 배부를 것이라
11:15 And I will give grass in your fields for your cattle, so that you may have food
in full measure.
11:15 And I will send grass in your fields for your cattle, that you may
eat and be full.
11:16 너희는 스스로 삼가라 두렵건대 마음에 미혹하여 돌이켜 다른 신들을 섬기며
그것에게 절하므로
11:16 But take care that your hearts are not turned to false ways so that you become servants
and worshippers of other gods;
11:16 Take heed to yourselves, that your heart be not deceived, and all of
you turn aside, and serve other gods, and worship them;
11:17 여호와께서 너희에게 진노하사 하늘을 닫아 비를 내리지 아니하여 땅으로
소산을 내지 않게 하시므로 너희가 여호와의 주신 아름다운 땅에서 속히 멸망할까
하노라
11:17 For if you do so, the wrath of the Lord will be burning against you, and the heaven
will be shut up so that there is no rain and the land will give no fruit; and in
a very little time you will be cut off from the good land which the Lord is giving
you.
11:17 And then the LORD's wrath be kindled against you, and he shut up the
heaven, that there be no rain, and that the land yield not her fruit; and lest
all of you perish quickly from off the good land which the LORD gives you.
11:18 ○ 이러므로 너희는 나의 이 말을 너희 마음과 뜻에 두고 또 그것으로 너희
손목에 매어 기호를 삼고 너희 미간에 붙여 표를 삼으며
11:18 So keep these words deep in your heart and in your soul, and have them fixed on
your hand for a sign and marked on your brow;
11:18 Therefore shall all of you lay up these my words in your heart and
in your soul, and bind them for a sign upon your hand, that they may be as frontlets
between your eyes.
11:19 또 그것을 너희의 자녀에게 가르치며 집에 앉았을 때에든지, 길에 행할
때에든지, 누웠을 때에든지, 일어날 때에든지 이 말씀을 강론하고
11:19 Teaching them to your children, and talking of them when you are at rest in your
house or walking by the way, when you go to sleep and when you get up:
11:19 And all of you shall teach them your children, speaking of them when
you sit in yours house, and when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and
when you rise up.
11:20 또 네 집 문설주와 바깥 문에 기록하라
11:20 Writing them on the pillars of your houses and over the doors of your towns:
11:20 And you shall write them upon the door posts of yours house, and upon
your gates:
11:21 그리하면 여호와께서 너희 열조에게 주리라고 맹세하신 땅에서 너희의 날과
너희 자녀의 날이 많아서 하늘이 땅을 덮는 날의 장구함 같으리라
11:21 So that your days, and the days of your children, may be long in the land which
the Lord by his oath to your fathers said he would give them, like the days of the
eternal heavens.
11:21 That your days may be multiplied, and the days of your children, in
the land which the LORD swore unto your fathers to give them, as the days of
heaven upon the earth.
11:22 너희가 만일 내가 너희에게 명하는 이 모든 명령을 잘 지켜 행하여 너희
하나님 여호와를 사랑하고 그 모든 도를 행하여 그에게 부종하면
11:22 For if you take care to keep all the orders which I give you, and to do them; loving
the Lord your God and walking in all his ways and being true to him:
11:22 For if all of you shall diligently keep all these commandments which
I command you, to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways,
and to cleave unto him;
11:23 여호와께서 그 모든 나라 백성을 너희 앞에서 다 쫓아내실 것이라 너희가
너희보다 강대한 나라들을 얻을 것인즉
11:23 Then the Lord will send these nations in flight before you, and you will take the
lands of nations greater and stronger than yourselves.
11:23 Then will the LORD drive out all these nations from before you, and
all of you shall possess greater nations and mightier than yourselves.
11:24 너희의 발바닥으로 밟는 곳은 다 너희 소유가 되리니 너희의 경계는 곧
광야에서부터 레바논까지와 유브라데 하수라 하는 하수에서 서해까지라
11:24 Every place where you put your foot will be yours: from the waste land and Lebanon,
from the river, the river Euphrates as far as the Great Sea, will be the limits
of your land.
11:24 Every place whereon the soles of your feet shall tread shall be yours:
from the wilderness and Lebanon, from the river, the river Euphrates, even unto
the uttermost sea shall your coast be.
11:25 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 말씀하신 대로 너희 밟는 모든 땅 사람들로
너희를 두려워하고 무서워하게 하시리니 너희를 능히 당할 사람이 없으리라
11:25 All people will give way before you: for the Lord your God will put the fear of
you on all the land through which you go, as he has said.
11:25 There shall no man be able to stand before you: for the LORD your God
shall lay the fear of you and the dread of you upon all the land that all of
you shall tread upon, as he has said unto you.
11:26 ○ 내가 오늘날 복과 저주를 너희 앞에 두나니
11:26 Today I put before you a blessing and a curse:
11:26 Behold, I set before you this day a blessing and a curse;
11:27 너희가 만일 내가 오늘날 너희에게 명하는 너희 하나님 여호와의 명령을
들으면 복이 될 것이요
11:27 The blessing if you give ear to the orders of the Lord your God, which I give you
this day:
11:27 A blessing, if all of you obey the commandments of the LORD your God,
which I command you this day:
11:28 너희가 만일 내가 오늘날 너희에게 명하는 도에서 돌이켜 떠나 너희 하나님
여호와의 명령을 듣지 아니하고 본래 알지 못하던 다른 신들을 좇으면 저주를 받으리라
11:28 And the curse if you do not give ear to the orders of the Lord your God, but let
yourselves be turned from the way which I have put before you this day, and go after
other gods which are not yours.
11:28 And a curse, if all of you will not obey the commandments of the LORD
your God, but turn aside out of the way which I command you this day, to go
after other gods, which all of you have not known.
11:29 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 가서 얻을 땅으로 너를 인도하여 들이실 때에
너는 그리심 산에서 축복을 선포하고 에발 산에서 저주를 선포하라
11:29 And when the Lord your God has taken you into the land of your heritage, you are
to put the blessing on Mount Gerizim and the curse on Mount Ebal.
11:29 And it shall come to pass, when the LORD your God has brought you in
unto the land where you go to possess it, that you shall put the blessing upon
mount Gerizim, and the curse upon mount Ebal.
11:30 이 두 산은 요단 강 저편 곧 해 지는 편으로 가는 길 뒤 길갈 맞은편 모레
상수리나무 곁의 아라바에 거하는 가나안 족속의 땅에 있지 아니하냐
11:30 Are they not on the other side of Jordan, looking west, in the land of the Canaanites
living in the Arabah, opposite Gilgal, by the holy tree of Moreh?
11:30 Are they not on the other side Jordan, by the way where the sun goes
down, in the land of the Canaanites, which dwell in the champaign opposite to
Gilgal, beside the plains of Moreh?
11:31 너희가 요단을 건너 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 주시는 땅에 들어가서
얻으려 하나니 반드시 그것을 얻어 거기 거할지라
11:31 For you are about to go over Jordan to take the heritage which the Lord your God
is giving you, and it will be your resting-place.
11:31 For all of you shall pass over Jordan to go in to possess the land
which the LORD your God gives you, and all of you shall possess it, and dwell
therein.
11:32 내가 오늘날 너희 앞에 베푸는 모든 규례와 법도를 너희는 지켜 행할지니라
11:32 And you are to take care to keep all the laws and the decisions which I put before
you today.
11:32 And all of you shall observe to do all the statutes and judgments which
I set before you this day.
12:1 네 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주셔서 얻게 하신 땅에서 너희가 평생에
지켜 행할 규례와 법도는 이러하니라
12:1 These are the laws and the decisions which you are to keep with care in the land
which the Lord, the God of your fathers, has given you to be your heritage all the
days of your life on earth.
12:1 These are the statutes and judgments, which all of you shall observe
to do in the land, which the LORD God of your fathers gives you to possess it,
all the days that all of you live upon the earth.
12:2 너희가 쫓아낼 민족들이 그 신들을 섬기는 곳은 높은 산이든지 작은 산이든지
푸른 나무 아래든지 무론하고 그 모든 곳을 너희가 마땅히 파멸하며
12:2 You are to give up to the curse all those places where the nations, whom you are
driving out, gave worship to their gods, on the high mountains and the hills and
under every green tree:
12:2 All of you shall utterly destroy all the places, wherein the nations
which all of you shall possess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and
upon the hills, and under every green tree:
12:3 그 단을 헐며 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 상을 불사르고 또 그 조각한 신상들을
찍어서 그 이름을 그 곳에서 멸하라
12:3 Their altars and their pillars are to be broken down, and their holy trees burned
with fire, and the images of their gods cut down; you are to take away their names
out of that place.
12:3 And all of you shall overthrow their altars, and break their pillars,
and burn their groves with fire; and all of you shall hew down the graven images
of their gods, and destroy the names of them out of that place.
12:4 너희 하나님 여호와에게는 너희가 그처럼 행하지 말고
12:4 Do not so to the Lord your God.
12:4 All of you shall not do so unto the LORD your God.
12:5 오직 너희 하나님 여호와께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 너희 모든 지파 중에서
택하신 곳인 그 거하실 곳으로 찾아 나아가서
12:5 But let your hearts be turned to the place which will be marked out by the Lord
your God, among your tribes, to put his name there;
12:5 But unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose out of all your
tribes to put his name there, even unto his habitation shall all of you seek,
and thither you shall come:
12:6 너희 번제와 너희 희생과 너희의 십일조와 너희 손의 거제와 너희 서원제와
낙헌 예물과 너희 우양의 처음 낳은 것들을 너희는 그리로 가져다가 드리고
12:6 And there you are to take your burned offerings and other offerings, and the tenth
part of your goods, and the offerings to be lifted up to the Lord, and the offerings
of your oaths, and those which you give freely from the impulse of your hearts,
and the first births among your herds and your flocks;
12:6 And thither all of you shall bring your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices,
and your tithes, and heave offerings of your hand, and your vows, and your freewill
offerings, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks:
12:7 거기 곧 너희 하나님 여호와 앞에서 먹고 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희 손으로
수고한 일에 복 주심을 인하여 너희와 너희 가족이 즐거워할지니라
12:7 There you and all your families are to make a feast before the Lord your God, with
joy in everything to which you put your hand, because the Lord has given you his
blessing.
12:7 And there all of you shall eat before the LORD your God, and all of
you shall rejoice in all that all of you put your hand unto, all of you and
your households, wherein the LORD your God has blessed you.
12:8 우리가 오늘날 여기서는 각기 소견대로 하였거니와 너희가 거기서는 하지
말지니라
12:8 You are not to do things then in the way in which we now do them here, every man
as it seems right to him:
12:8 All of you shall not do after all the things that we do here this day,
every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes.
12:9 너희가 너희 하나님 여호와의 주시는 안식과 기업에 아직은 이르지 못하였거니와
12:9 For you have not come to the rest and the heritage which the Lord your God is giving
you.
12:9 For all of you are not as yet come to the rest and to the inheritance,
which the LORD your God gives you.
12:10 너희가 요단을 건너 너희 하나님 여호와께서 너희에게 기업으로 주시는
땅에 거하게 될 때 또는 여호와께서 너희로 너희 사방의 모든 대적을 이기게 하시고
너희에게 안식을 주사 너희로 평안히 거하게 하실 때에
12:10 But when you have gone over Jordan and are living in the land which the Lord your
God is giving you as your heritage, and when he has given you rest from all those
on every side who are fighting against you, and you are living there safely;
12:10 But when all of you go over Jordan, and dwell in the land which the
LORD your God gives you to inherit, and when he gives you rest from all your
enemies round about, so that all of you dwell in safety;
12:11 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 한 곳을 택하실 그
곳으로 나의 명하는 것을 모두 가지고 갈지니 곧 너희의 번제와 너희 희생과 너희
십일조와 너희 손의 거제와 너희가 여호와께 서원하는 모든 아름다운 서원물을 가져가고
12:11 Then there will be a place marked out by the Lord your God as the resting-place
for his name, and there you will take all the things which I give you orders to
take: your burned offerings and other offerings, and the tenth part of your goods,
and the offerings to be lifted up, and the offerings of your oaths which you make
to the Lord;
12:11 Then there shall be a place which the LORD your God shall choose to
cause his name to dwell there; thither shall all of you bring all that I command
you; your burnt offerings, and your sacrifices, your tithes, and the heave offering
of your hand, and all your choice vows which all of you vow unto the LORD:
12:12 너희와 너희 자녀와 노비와 함께 너희 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워할 것이요
네 성중에 거하는 레위인과도 그리할지니 레위인은 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없음이니라
12:12 And you will be glad before the Lord your God, you and your sons and your daughters,
and your men-servants and your women-servants, and the Levite who is with you in
your house, because he has no part or heritage among you.
12:12 And all of you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, all of you,
and your sons, and your daughters, and your male servants, and your maidservants,
and the Levite that is within your gates; forasmuch as he has no part nor inheritance
with you.
12:13 너는 삼가서 네게 보이는 아무 곳에서든지
번제를 드리지 말고
12:13 Take care that you do not make your burned offerings in any place you see:
12:13 Take heed to yourself that you offer not your burnt offerings in every
place that you see:
12:14 오직 너희의 한 지파 중에 여호와의 택하실 그 곳에서 너는 번제를 드리고
또 내가 네게 명하는 모든 것을 거기서 행할지니라
12:14 But in the place marked out by the Lord in one of your tribes, there let your burned
offerings be offered, and there do what I have given you orders to do.
12:14 But in the place which the LORD shall choose in one of your tribes,
there you shall offer your burnt offerings, and there you shall do all that
I command you.
12:15 ○ 그러나 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 복을 따라 각 성에서 네 마음에
즐기는 대로 생축을 잡아 그 고기를 먹을 수 있나니 곧 정한 자나 부정한 자를 무론하고
노루나 사슴을 먹음 같이 먹으려니와
12:15 Only you may put to death animals, such as the gazelle or the roe, for your food
in any of your towns, at the desire of your soul, in keeping with the blessing of
the Lord your God which he has given you: the unclean and the clean may take of
it.
12:15 Notwithstanding you may kill and eat flesh in all your gates, whatsoever
your soul lusts after, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which
he has given you: the unclean and the clean may eat thereof, as of the roebuck,
and as of the hart.
12:16 오직 그 피는 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟을 것이며
12:16 But you may not take the blood for food, it is to be drained out on the earth like
water.
12:16 Only all of you shall not eat the blood; all of you shall pour it upon
the earth as water.
12:17 너는 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조와 네 우양의 처음 낳은 것과 너의
서원을 갚는 예물과 너의 낙헌 예물과 네 손의 거제물은 너의 각 성에서 먹지 말고
12:17 In your towns you are not to take as food the tenth part of your grain, or of your
wine or your oil, or the first births of your herds or of your flocks, or anything
offered under an oath, or freely offered to the Lord, or given as a lifted offering;
12:17 You may not eat within your gates the tithe of your corn, or of your
wine, or of your oil, or the firstlings of your herds or of your flock, nor
any of your vows which you vow, nor your freewill offerings, or heave offering
of yours hand:
12:18 오직 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하실 곳에서 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 너는
네 자녀와 노비와 성중에 거하는 레위인과 함께 그것을 먹고 또 네 손으로 수고한
모든 일을 인하여 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워하되
12:18 But they will be your food before the Lord your God in the place of his selection,
where you may make a feast of them, with your son and your daughter, and your man-servant
and your woman-servant, and the Levite who is living with you: and you will have
joy before the Lord your God in everything to which you put your hand.
12:18 But you must eat them before the LORD your God in the place which the
LORD your God shall choose, you, and your son, and your daughter, and your manservant,
and your maidservant, and the Levite that is within your gates: and you shall
rejoice before the LORD your God in all that you put yours hands unto.
12:19 너는 삼가서 네 땅에 거하는 동안에 레위인을 저버리지 말지니라
12:19 See that you do not give up caring for the Levite as long as you are living in your
land.
12:19 Take heed to yourself that you forsake not the Levite as long as you
live upon the earth.
12:20 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 허락하신 대로 네 지경을 넓히신 후에 네
마음에 고기를 먹고자 하여 이르기를 내가 고기를 먹으리라 하면 네가 무릇 마음에
좋아하는 대로 고기를 먹을 수 있으리니
12:20 When the Lord your God makes wide the limit of your land, as he has said, and you
say, I will take flesh for my food, because you have a desire for it; then you may
take whatever flesh you have a desire for.
12:20 When the LORD your God shall enlarge your border, as he has promised
you, and you shall say, I will eat flesh, because your soul longs to eat flesh;
you may eat flesh, whatsoever your soul lusts after.
12:21 만일 네 하나님 여호와께서 자기 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳이 네게서 멀거든
내가 네게 명한 대로 너는 여호와의 주신 우양을 잡아 너의 각 성에서 네가 무릇
마음에 좋아하는 것을 먹되
12:21 If the place marked out by the Lord your God as the resting-place for his name is
far away from you, then take from your herds and from your flocks which the Lord
has given you, as I have said, and have a meal of it in the towns where you may
be living.
12:21 If the place which the LORD your God has chosen to put his name there
be too far from you, then you shall kill of your herd and of your flock, which
the LORD has given you, as I have commanded you, and you shall eat in your gates
whatsoever your soul lusts after.
12:22 정한 자나 부정한 자를 무론하고 노루나 사슴을 먹음 같이 먹을 수 있거니와
12:22 It will be your food, like the gazelle and the roe; the unclean and the clean may
take of it.
12:22 Even as the roebuck and the hart is eaten, so you shall eat them: the
unclean and the clean shall eat of them alike.
12:23 오직 크게 삼가서 그 피는 먹지 말라 피는 그 생명인즉 네가 그 생명을
고기와 아울러 먹지 못하리니
12:23 But see that you do not take the blood for food; for the blood is the life; and
you may not make use of the life as food with the flesh.
12:23 Only be sure that you eat not the blood: for the blood is the life;
and you may not eat the life with the flesh.
12:24 너는 그것을 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟으라
12:24 Do not take it for food but let it be drained out on the earth like water.
12:24 You shall not eat it; you shall pour it upon the earth as water.
12:25 너는 피를 먹지 말라 네가 이같이 여호와께서 의롭게 여기시는 일을 행하면
너와 네 후손이 복을 누리리라
12:25 Do not take it for food; so that it may be well for you and for your children after
you, while you do what is right in the eyes of the Lord.
12:25 You shall not eat it; that it may go well with you, and with your children
after you, when you shall do that which is right in the sight of the LORD.
12:26 오직 네 성물과 서원물을 여호와께서 택하신 곳으로 가지고 가라
12:26 But the holy things which you have, and the offerings of your oaths, you are to
take to the place which will be marked out by the Lord:
12:26 Only your holy things which you have, and your vows, you shall take,
and go unto the place which the LORD shall choose:
12:27 네가 번제를 드릴 때에는 그 고기와 피를 네 하나님 여호와의 단에 드릴
것이요 다른 제 희생을 드릴 때에는 그 피를 네 하나님 여호와의 단 위에 붓고 그
고기는 먹을지니라
12:27 Offering the flesh and the blood of your burned offerings on the altar of the Lord
your God; and the blood of your offerings is to be drained out on the altar of the
Lord your God, and the flesh will be your food.
12:27 And you shall offer your burnt offerings, the flesh and the blood,
upon the altar of the LORD your God: and the blood of your sacrifices shall
be poured out upon the altar of the LORD your God, and you shall eat the flesh.
12:28 내가 네게 명하는 이 모든 말을 너는 듣고 지키라 네 하나님 여호와의 목전에
선과 의를 행하면 너와 네 후손에게 영영히 복이 있으리라
12:28 Take note of all these orders I am giving you and give attention to them, so that
it may be well for you and for your children after you for ever, while you do what
is good and right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
12:28 Observe and hear all these words which I command you, that it may go
well with you, and with your children after you for ever, when you do that which
is good and right in the sight of the LORD your God.
12:29 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네가 들어가서 쫓아낼 그 민족들을 네 앞에서
멸절하시고 너로 그 땅을 얻어 거기 거하게 하실 때에
12:29 When the people of the land where you are going have been cut off before you by
the Lord your God, and you have taken their land and are living in it;
12:29 When the LORD your God shall cut off the nations from before you, where
you go to possess them, and you succeed them, and dwell in their land;
12:30 너는 스스로 삼가서 네 앞에서 멸망한 그들의 자취를 밟아 올무에 들지
말라 또 그들의 신을 탐구하여 이르기를 이 민족들은 그 신들을 어떻게 위하였는고
나도 그와 같이 하겠다 하지 말라
12:30 After their destruction take care that you do not go in their ways, and that you
do not give thought to their gods, saying, How did these nations give worship to
their gods? I will do as they did.
12:30 Take heed to yourself that you be not snared by following them, after
that they be destroyed from before you; and that you enquire not after their
gods, saying, How did these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise.
12:31 네 하나님 여호와께는 네가 그와 같이 행하지 못할 것이라 그들은 여호와의
꺼리시며 가증히 여기시는 일을 그 신들에게 행하여 심지어 그 자녀를 불살라 그
신들에게 드렸느니라
12:31 Do not so to the Lord your God: for everything which is disgusting to the Lord and
hated by him they have done in honour of their gods: even burning their sons and
daughters in the fire to their gods.
12:31 You shall not do so unto the LORD your God: for every abomination to
the LORD, which he hates, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons
and their daughters they have burnt in the fire to their gods.
12:32 내가 너희에게 명하는 이 모든 말을 너희는 지켜 행하고 그것에 가감하지
말지니라
12:32 You are to keep with care all the words I give you, making no addition to them and
taking nothing from them.
12:32 Whatsoever I command you, observe to do it: you shall not add thereto,
nor diminish from it.
13:1 너희 중에 선지자나 꿈꾸는 자가 일어나서 이적과 기사를 네게 보이고
13:1 If ever you have among you a prophet or a dreamer of dreams and he gives you a sign
or a wonder,
13:1 If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and gives
you a sign or a wonder,
13:2 네게 말하기를 네가 본래 알지 못하던 다른 신들을 우리가 좇아 섬기자 하며
이적과 기사가 그 말대로 이룰지라도
13:2 And the sign or the wonder takes place, and he says to you, Let us go after other
gods, which are strange to you, and give them worship;
13:2 And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spoke unto you,
saying, Let us go after other gods, which you have not known, and let us serve
them;
13:3 너는 그 선지자나 꿈꾸는 자의 말을 청종하지 말라 이는 너희 하나님 여호와께서
너희가 마음을 다하고 성품을 다하여 너희 하나님 여호와를 사랑하는 여부를 알려
하사 너희를 시험하심이니라
13:3 Then give no attention to the words of that prophet or that dreamer of dreams: for
the Lord your God is testing you, to see if all the love of your heart and soul
is given to him.
13:3 You shall not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer
of dreams: for the LORD your God proves you, to know whether all of you love
the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
13:4 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와를 순종하며 그를 경외하며 그 명령을 지키며
그 목소리를 청종하며 그를 섬기며 그에게 부종하고
13:4 But keep on in the ways of the Lord your God, fearing him and keeping his orders
and hearing his voice, worshipping him and being true to him.
13:4 All of you shall walk after the LORD your God, and fear him, and keep
his commandments, and obey his voice, and all of you shall serve him, and cleave
unto him.
13:5 그 선지자나 꿈꾸는 자는 죽이라 이는 그가 너희로 너희를 애굽 땅에서 인도하여
내시며 종 되었던 집에서 속량하여 취하신 너희 하나님 여호와를 배반케 하려 하며
너희 하나님 여호와께서 네게 행하라 명하신 도에서 너를 꾀어내려고 말하였음이라
너는 이같이 하여 너희 중에서 악을 제할지니라
13:5 And that prophet or that dreamer of dreams is to be put to death; for his words
were said with the purpose of turning you away from the Lord your God, who took
you out of the land of Egypt and made you free from the prison-house; and of forcing
you out of the way in which the Lord your God has given you orders to go. So you
are to put away the evil from among you.
13:5 And that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams, shall be put to death;
because he has spoken to turn you away from the LORD your God, which brought
you out of the land of Egypt, and redeemed you out of the house of bondage,
to thrust you out of the way which the LORD your God commanded you to walk in.
So shall you put the evil away from the midst of you.
13:6 ○ 네 동복 형제나 네 자녀나 네 품의 아내나 너와 생명을 함께 하는 친구가
가만히 너를 꾀어 이르기를 너와 네 열조가 알지 못하던 다른 신들
13:6 If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son or your daughter or the wife
of your heart, or the friend who is as dear to you as your life, working on you
secretly says to you, Let us go and give worship to other gods, strange to you and
to your fathers;
13:6 If your brother, the son of your mother, or your son, or your daughter,
or the wife of your bosom, or your friend, which is as yours own soul, entice
you secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which you have not known,
you, nor your fathers;
13:7 곧 네 사방에 둘러 있는 민족 혹 네게서 가깝든지 네게서 멀든지 땅 이 끝에서
저 끝까지 있는 민족의 신들을 우리가 가서 섬기자 할지라도
13:7 Gods of the peoples round about you, near or far, from one end of the earth to the
other;
13:7 Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto
you, or far off from you, from the one end of the earth even unto the other
end of the earth;
13:8 너는 그를 좇지 말며 듣지 말며 긍휼히 보지 말며 애석히 여기지 말며 덮어
숨기지 말고
13:8 Do not be guided by him or give attention to him; have no pity on him or mercy,
and give him no cover;
13:8 You shall not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall
yours eye pity him, neither shall you spare, neither shall you conceal him:
13:9 너는 용서 없이 그를 죽이되 죽일 때에 네가 먼저 그에게 손을 대고 후에
뭇 백성이 손을 대라
13:9 But put him to death without question; let your hand be the first stretched out
against him to put him to death, and then the hands of all the people.
13:9 But you shall surely kill him; yours hand shall be first upon him to
put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
13:10 그는 애굽 땅 종 되었던 집에서 너를 인도하여 내신 네 하나님 여호와에게서
너를 꾀어 떠나게 하려 한 자니 너는 돌로 쳐죽이라
13:10 Let him be stoned with stones till he is dead; because it was his purpose to make
you false to the Lord your God, who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the
prison-house.
13:10 And you shall stone him with stones, that he die; because he has sought
to thrust you away from the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land
of Egypt, from the house of bondage.
13:11 그리하면 온 이스라엘이 듣고 두려워하여 이같은 악을 다시는 너희 중에서
행하지 못하리라
13:11 And all Israel, hearing of it, will be full of fear, and no one will again do such
evil as this among you.
13:11 And all Israel shall hear, and fear, and shall do no more any such
wickedness as this is among you.
13:12 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주어 거하게 하시는 한 성읍에 대하여 네게
소문이 들리기를
13:12 And if word comes to you, in one of the towns which the Lord your God is giving
you for your resting-place,
13:12 If you shall hear say in one of your cities, which the LORD your God
has given you to dwell there, saying,
13:13 너희 중 어떤 잡류가 일어나서 그 성읍 거민을 유혹하여 이르기를 너희가
알지 못하던 다른 신들을 우리가 가서 섬기자 한다 하거든
13:13 That good-for-nothing persons have gone out from among you, turning the people of
their town from the right way and saying, Let us go and give worship to other gods,
of whom you have no knowledge;
13:13 Certain men, the children of Belial, are gone out from among you, and
have withdrawn the inhabitants of their city, saying, Let us go and serve other
gods, which all of you have not known;
13:14 너는 자세히 묻고 살펴보아서 이런 가증한 일이 참 사실로 너희 중에 있으면
13:14 Then let a full search be made, and let questions be put with care; and if it is
true and certain that such a disgusting thing has been done among you;
13:14 Then shall you enquire, and make search, and ask diligently; and, behold,
if it be truth, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought among
you;
13:15 너는 마땅히 그 성읍 거민을 칼날로 죽이고 그 성읍과 그 중에 거하는 모든
것과 그 생축을 칼날로 진멸하고
13:15 Then take up arms against the people of that town and give it up to the curse, with
all its cattle and everything in it.
13:15 You shall surely strike the inhabitants of that city with the edge
of the sword, destroying it utterly, and all that is therein, and the cattle
thereof, with the edge of the sword.
13:16 또 그 속에서 빼앗아 얻은 물건을 다 거리에 모아 놓고 그 성읍과 그 탈취물
전부를 불살라 네 하나님 여호와께 드릴지니 그 성읍은 영영히 무더기가 되어 다시는
건축됨이 없을 것이니라
13:16 And take all the goods into the middle of its open space, burning the town and all
its property with fire as an offering to the Lord your God; it is to be a waste
for ever; there is to be no more building there.
13:16 And you shall gather all the spoil of it into the midst of the street
thereof, and shall burn with fire the city, and all the spoil thereof everything,
for the LORD your God: and it shall be an heap for ever; it shall not be built
again.
13:17 너는 이 진멸할 물건을 조금도 네 손에 대지 말라 그리하면 여호와께서
그 진노를 그치시고 너를 긍휼히 여기시고 자비를 더하사 너의 열조에게 맹세하심
같이 네 수효를 번성케 하실 것이라
13:17 Keep not a thing of what is cursed for yourselves: so the Lord may be turned away
from the heat of his wrath, and have mercy on you, and give you increase as he said
in his oath to your fathers:
13:17 And there shall cleave nothing of the cursed thing to yours hand: that
the LORD may turn from the fierceness of his anger, and show you mercy, and
have compassion upon you, and multiply you, as he has sworn unto your fathers;
13:18 네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀을 듣고 오늘날 내가 네게 명하는 그
모든 명령을 지켜 네 하나님 여호와의 목전에 정직을 행하면 이같이 되리라
13:18 So long as you give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, and keep all his orders
which I give you today, and do what is right in the eyes of the Lord your God.
13:18 When you shall hearken to the voice of the LORD your God, to keep all
his commandments which I command you this day, to do that which is right in
the eyes of the LORD your God.
14:1 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 자녀니 죽은 자를 위하여 자기 몸을 베지 말며
눈섭 사이 이마 위의 털을 밀지 말라
14:1 You are the children of the Lord your God: you are not to make cuts on your bodies
or take off the hair on your brows in honour of the dead;
14:1 All of you are the children of the LORD your God: all of you shall not
cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.
14:2 너는 너의 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 여호와께서 지상 만민 중에서 너를
택하여 자기의 기업의 백성을 삼으셨느니라
14:2 For you are a holy people to the Lord your God, and the Lord has taken you to be
his special people out of all the nations on the face of the earth.
14:2 For you are an holy people unto the LORD your God, and the LORD has
chosen you to be an exclusive people unto himself, above all the nations that
are upon the earth.
14:3 ○ 너는 가증한 물건은 무엇이든지 먹지 말라
14:3 No disgusting thing may be your food.
14:3 You shall not eat any abominable thing.
14:4 너희의 먹을 만한 짐승은 이러하니 곧 소와 양과 염소와
14:4 These are the beasts which you may have for food: the ox, the sheep, and the goat;
14:4 These are the beasts which all of you shall eat: the ox, the sheep,
and the goat,
14:5 사슴과 노루와 불그스럼한 사슴과 산염소와 볼기 흰 노루와 뿔 긴 사슴과
산양들
14:5 The hart, the gazelle, and the roe, the mountain goat and the pygarg and the antelope
and the mountain sheep.
14:5 The hart, and the roebuck, and the fallow deer, and the wild goat, and
the pygarg, and the wild ox, and the chamois.
14:6 무릇 짐승 중에 굽이 갈라져 쪽발도 되고 새김질도 하는 것은 너희가 먹을
것이니라
14:6 Any beast which has a division in the horn of its foot and whose food comes back
into its mouth to be crushed again, may be used for food.
14:6 And every beast that parts the hoof, and cleaves the cleft into two
claws, and chews the cud among the beasts, that all of you shall eat.
14:7 다만 새김질을 하거나 굽이 갈라진 짐승 중에도 너희가 먹지 못할 것은 이것이니
곧 약대와 토끼와 사반 그것들은 새김질을 하나 굽이 갈라지지 아니하였으니 너희에게
부정하고
14:7 But even among these, there are some which may not be used for food: such as the
camel, the hare, and the coney, which are unclean to you, because, though their
food comes back, the horn of their feet is not parted in two.
14:7 Nevertheless these all of you shall not eat of them that chew the cud,
or of them that divide the cloven hoof; as the camel, and the hare, and the
coney: for they chew the cud, but divide not the hoof; therefore they are unclean
unto you.
14:8 돼지는 굽은 갈라졌으나 새김질을 못하므로 너희에게 부정하니 너희는 이런
것의 고기를 먹지 말 것이며 그 사체도 만지지 말 것이니라
14:8 And the pig is unclean to you, because though it has a division in the horn of its
foot, its food does not come back; their flesh may not be used for food or their
dead bodies touched by you.
14:8 And the swine, because it divides the hoof, yet chews not the cud, it
is unclean unto you: all of you shall not eat of their flesh, nor touch their
dead carcass.
14:9 ○ 물에 있는 어족 중에 이런 것은 너희가 먹을 것이니 무릇 지느러미와
비늘 있는 것은 너희가 먹을 것이요
14:9 And of the things living in the waters, you may take all those who have wings for
swimming with and skins formed of thin plates.
14:9 These all of you shall eat of all that are in the waters: all that have
fins and scales shall all of you eat:
14:10 무릇 지느러미와 비늘이 없는 것은 너희가 먹지 말지니 이는 너희에게 부정하니라
14:10 But any which have no skin-plates or wings for swimming, you may not take; they
are unclean for you.
14:10 And whatsoever has not fins and scales all of you may not eat; it is
unclean unto you.
14:11 무릇 정한 새는 너희가 먹으려니와
14:11 All clean birds may be used for food.
14:11 Of all clean birds all of you shall eat.
14:12 이런 것은 너희가 먹지 못할지니 곧 독수리와 솔개와 어응과
14:12 But these birds you may not take: the eagle and the gier-eagle and the ospray;
14:12 But these are they of which all of you shall not eat: the eagle, and
the vulture, and the buzzard,
14:13 매와 새매와 매의 종류와
14:13 The falcon and the kite, and birds of that sort;
14:13 And the vulture, and the kite, and the vulture after his kind,
14:14 까마귀 종류와
14:14 Every raven, and all birds of that sort;
14:14 And every raven after his kind,
14:15 타조와 다호마스와 갈매기와 새매 종류와
14:15 And the ostrich and the night-hawk and the sea-hawk and birds of that sort;
14:15 And the owl, and the night hawk, and the cuckoo, and the hawk after
his kind,
14:16 올빼미와 부엉이와 따오기와
14:16 The little owl and the great owl and the water-hen;
14:16 The little owl, and the great owl, and the swan,
14:17 당아와 올응과 노자와
14:17 And the pelican and the vulture and the cormorant;
14:17 And the pelican, and the carrion vulture, and the cormorant,
14:18 학과 황새 종류와 대승과 박쥐며
14:18 The stork and the heron and birds of that sort, and the hoopoe and the bat.
14:18 And the stork, and the heron after her kind, and the lapwing, and the
bat.
14:19 또 무릇 날기도 하고 기어다니기도 하는 것은 너희에게 부정하니 너희는
먹지 말 것이나
14:19 Every winged thing which goes flat on the earth is unclean to you and may not be
used as food.
14:19 And every creeping thing that flies is unclean unto you: they shall
not be eaten.
14:20 무릇 정한 새는 너희가 먹을지니라
14:20 But all clean birds you may take.
14:20 But of all clean fowls all of you may eat.
14:21 ○ 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와의 성민이라 무릇 스스로 죽은 것은 먹지
말 것이니 그것을 성중에 우거하는 객에게 주어 먹게 하거나 이방인에게 팔아도 가하니라
너는 염소 새끼를 그 어미의 젖에 삶지 말지니라
14:21 You may not have as food anything which has come to a natural death; the man from
another country who is living with you may take it for food, or you may get a price
for it from one of another nation; for you are a holy people to the Lord your God.
The young goat is not to be cooked in its mother's milk.
14:21 All of you shall not eat of anything that dies of itself: you shall
give it unto the stranger that is in your gates, that he may eat it; or you
may sell it unto an foreigner: for you are an holy people unto the LORD your
God. You shall not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.
14:22 ○ 너는 마땅히 매년에 토지 소산의 십일조를 드릴 것이며
14:22 Put on one side a tenth of all the increase of your seed, produced year by year.
14:22 You shall truly tithe all the increase of your seed, that the field
brings forth year by year.
14:23 네 하나님 여호와 앞 곧 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서
네 곡식과 포도주와 기름의 십일조를 먹으며 또 네 우양의 처음 난 것을 먹고 네
하나님 여호와 경외하기를 항상 배울 것이니라
14:23 And make a feast before the Lord your God, in the place which is to be marked out,
where his name will be for ever, of the tenth part of your grain and your wine and
your oil, and the first births of your herds and your flocks; so that you may have
the fear of the Lord your God in your hearts at all times.
14:23 And you shall eat before the LORD your God, in the place which he shall
choose to place his name there, the tithe of your corn, of your wine, and of
yours oil, and the firstlings of your herds and of your flocks; that you may
learn to fear the LORD your God always.
14:24 그러나 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳이 네게서 너무
멀고 행로가 어려워서 그 풍부히 주신 것을 가지고 갈 수 없거든
14:24 And if the way is so long that you are not able to take these things to the place
marked out by the Lord your God for his name, when he has given you his blessing,
because it is far away from you;
14:24 And if the way be too long for you, so that you are not able to carry
it; or if the place be too far from you, which the LORD your God shall choose
to set his name there, when the LORD your God has blessed you:
14:25 그것을 돈으로 바꾸어 그 돈을 싸서 가지고 네 하나님 여호와의 택하신
곳으로 가서
14:25 Then let these things be exchanged for money, and, taking the money in your hand,
go to the place marked out by the Lord your God for himself;
14:25 Then shall you turn it into money, and bind up the money in yours hand,
and shall go unto the place which the LORD your God shall choose:
14:26 무릇 네 마음에 좋아하는 것을 그 돈으로 사되 우양이나 포도주나 독주
등 무릇 네 마음에 원하는 것을 구하고 거기 네 하나님 여호와의 앞에서 너와 네
권속이 함께 먹고 즐거워할 것이며
14:26 And with the money get whatever you have a desire for, oxen or sheep or wine or
strong drink, whatever your soul's desire may be: and make a feast there before
the Lord your God, and be glad, you and all your house;
14:26 And you shall bestow that money for whatsoever your soul lusts after,
for oxen, or for sheep, or for wine, or for strong drink, or for whatsoever
your soul desires: and you shall eat there before the LORD your God, and you
shall rejoice, you, and yours household,
14:27 네 성읍에 거하는 레위인은 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 자니 또한
저버리지 말지니라
14:27 And give a thought to the Levite who is living among you, for he has no part or
heritage in the land.
14:27 And the Levite that is within your gates; you shall not forsake him;
for he has no part nor inheritance with you.
14:28 ○ 매 삼 년 끝에 그 해 소산의 십분 일을 다 내어 네 성읍에 저축하여
14:28 At the end of every three years take a tenth part of all your increase for that
year, and put it in store inside your walls:
14:28 At the end of three years you shall bring forth all the tithe of yours
increase the same year, and shall lay it up within your gates:
14:29 너희 중에 분깃이나 기업이 없는 레위인과 네 성중에 우거하는 객과 및
고아와 과부들로 와서 먹어 배부르게 하라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 손으로
하는 범사에 네게 복을 주시리라
14:29 And the Levite, because he has no part or heritage in the land, and the man from
a strange country, and the child who has no father, and the widow, who are living
among you, will come and take food and have enough; and so the blessing of the Lord
your God will be on you in everything you do.
14:29 And the Levite, (because he has no part nor inheritance with you,)
and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow, which are within your gates,
shall come, and shall eat and be satisfied; that the LORD your God may bless
you in all the work of yours hand which you do.
15:1 매 칠 년 끝에 면제하라
15:1 At the end of every seven years there is to be a general forgiveness of debt.
15:1 At the end of every seven years you shall make a release.
15:2 면제의 규례는 이러하니라 무릇 그 이웃에게 꾸어준 채주는 그것을 면제하고
그 이웃에게나 그 형제에게 독촉하지 말지니 이 해는 여호와의 면제년이라 칭함이니라
15:2 This is how it is to be done: every creditor is to give up his right to whatever
he has let his neighbour have; he is not to make his neighbour, his countryman,
give it back; because a general forgiveness has been ordered by the Lord.
15:2 And this is the manner of the release: Every creditor that lends ought
unto his neighbour shall release it; he shall not exact it of his neighbour,
or of his brother; because it is called the LORD's release.
15:3 이방인에게는 네가 독촉하려니와 네 형제에게 꾸인 것은 네 손에서 면제하라
15:3 A man of another nation may be forced to make payment of his debt, but if your brother
has anything of yours, let it go;
15:3 Of a foreigner you may exact it again: but that which is yours with
your brother yours hand shall release;
15:4-5 네가 만일 네 하나님 여호와의 말씀만 듣고 내가 오늘날 네게 명하는 그
명령을 다 지켜 행하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 유업으로 주신 땅에서 네가 정녕
복을 받으리니 너희 중에 가난한 자가 없으리라
15:4 But there will be no poor among you; for the Lord will certainly give you his blessing
in the land which the Lord your God is giving you for your heritage;
15:4 Save when there shall be no poor among you; for the LORD shall greatly
bless you in the land which the LORD your God gives you for an inheritance to
possess it:
15:5 If only you give ear to the voice of the Lord your God, and take care to keep all
these orders which I give you today.
15:5 Only if you carefully hearken unto the voice of the LORD your God, to
observe to do all these commandments which I command you this day.
15:6 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 허락하신 대로 네게 복을 주시리니 네가 여러
나라에 꾸어 줄지라도 너는 꾸지 아니하겠고 네가 여러 나라를 치리할지라도 너는
치리함을 받지 아니하리라
15:6 For the Lord your God will give you his blessing as he has said: you will let other
nations have the use of your money, but you will not make use of theirs; you will
be rulers over a number of nations, but they will not be your rulers.
15:6 For the LORD your God blesses you, as he promised you: and you shall
lend unto many nations, but you shall not borrow; and you shall reign over many
nations, but they shall not reign over you.
15:7 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 땅 어느 성읍에서든지 가난한 형제가
너와 함께 거하거든 그 가난한 형제에게 네 마음을 강퍅히 하지 말며 네 손을 움켜
쥐지 말고
15:7 If in any of your towns in the land which the Lord your God is giving you, there
is a poor man, one of your countrymen, do not let your heart be hard or your hand
shut to him;
15:7 If there be among you a poor man of one of your brethren within any
of your gates in your land which the LORD your God gives you, you shall not
harden yours heart, nor shut yours hand from your poor brother:
15:8 반드시 네 손을 그에게 펴서 그 요구하는 대로 쓸 것을 넉넉히 꾸어주라
15:8 But let your hand be open to give him the use of whatever he is in need of.
15:8 But you shall open yours hand wide unto him, and shall surely lend him
sufficient for his need, in that which he wants.
15:9 삼가 너는 마음에 악념을 품지 말라 곧 이르기를 제 칠 년 면제년이 가까왔다
하고 네 궁핍한 형제에게 악한 눈을 들고 아무 것도 주지 아니하면 그가 너를 여호와께
호소하리니 네가 죄를 얻을 것이라
15:9 And see that there is no evil thought in your heart, moving you to say to yourself,
The seventh year, the year of forgiveness is near; and so looking coldly on your
poor countryman you give him nothing; and he will make an outcry to the Lord against
you, and it will be judged as sin in you.
15:9 Beware that there be not a thought in your wicked heart, saying, The
seventh year, the year of release, is at hand; and yours eye be evil against
your poor brother, and you give him nothing; and he cry unto the LORD against
you, and it be sin unto you.
15:10 너는 반드시 그에게 구제할 것이요 구제할 때에는 아끼는 마음을 품지 말
것이니라 이로 인하여 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 범사와 네 손으로 하는 바에 네게
복을 주시리라
15:10 But it is right for you to give to him, without grief of heart: for because of this,
the blessing of the Lord your God will be on all your work and on everything to
which you put your hand.
15:10 You shall surely give him, and yours heart shall not be grieved when
you give unto him: because that for this thing the LORD your God shall bless
you in all your works, and in all that you put yours hand unto.
15:11 땅에는 언제든지 가난한 자가 그치지 아니하겠으므로 내가 네게 명하여
이르노니 너는 반드시 네 경내 네 형제의 곤란한 자와 궁핍한 자에게 네 손을 펼지니라
15:11 For there will never be a time when there are no poor in the land; and so I give
orders to you, Let your hand be open to your countrymen, to those who are poor and
in need in your land.
15:11 For the poor shall never cease out of the land: therefore I command
you, saying, You shall open yours hand wide unto your brother, to your poor,
and to your needy, in your land.
15:12 ○ 네 동족 히브리 남자나 히브리 여자가 네게 팔렸다 하자 만일 육 년을
너를 섬겼거든 제 칠 년에 너는 그를 놓아 자유하게 할 것이요
15:12 If one of your countrymen, a Hebrew man or woman, becomes your servant for a price
and does work for you six years, in the seventh year let him go free.
15:12 And if your brother, an Hebrew man, or an Hebrew woman, be sold unto
you, and serve you six years; then in the seventh year you shall let him go
free from you.
15:13 그를 놓아 자유하게 할 때에는 공수로 가게 하지 말고
15:13 And when you make him free, do not let him go away with nothing in his hands:
15:13 And when you send him out free from you, you shall not let him go away
empty:
15:14 네 양 무리 중에서와 타작 마당에서와 포도주 틀에서 그에게 후히 줄지니
곧 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 복을 주신 대로 그에게 줄지니라
15:14 But give him freely from your flock and from your grain and your wine: in the measure
of the wealth which the Lord your God has given you, you are to give to him.
15:14 You shall furnish him liberally out of your flock, and out of your
floor, and out of your winepress: of that wherewith the LORD your God has blessed
you you shall give unto him.
15:15 너는 애굽 땅에서 종 되었던 것과 네 하나님 여호와께서 너를 속하셨음을 기억하라
그를 인하여 내가 오늘날 이같이 네게 명하노라
15:15 And keep in mind that you yourself were a servant in the land of Egypt, and the
Lord your God made you free: so I give you this order today.
15:15 And you shall remember that you were a bondman in the land of Egypt,
and the LORD your God redeemed you: therefore I command you this thing to day.
15:16 종이 만일 너와 네 집을 사랑하므로 너와 동거하기를 좋게 여겨 네게 향하여
내가 주인을 떠나지 아니하겠노라 하거든
15:16 But if he says to you, I have no desire to go away from you; because you and your
family are dear to him and he is happy with you;
15:16 And it shall be, if he say unto you, I will not go away from you; because
he loves you and yours house, because he is well with you;
15:17 송곳을 취하여 그의 귀를 문에 대고 뚫으라 그리하면 그가 영영히 네 종이
되리라 네 여종에게도 일례로 할지니라
15:17 Then take a sharp-pointed instrument, driving it through his ear into the door,
and he will be your servant for ever. And you may do the same for your servant-girl.
15:17 Then you shall take an aul, and thrust it through his ear unto the
door, and he shall be your servant for ever. And also unto your maidservant
you shall do likewise.
15:18 그가 육 년 동안에 품군의 삯의 배나 받을 만큼 너를 섬겼은즉 너는 그를
놓아 자유하게 하기를 어렵게 여기지 말라 그리하면 네 하나님 여호와께서 너의 범사에
네게 복을 주시리라
15:18 Let it not seem hard to you that you have to send him away free; for he has been
working for you for six years, which is twice the regular time for a servant: and
the blessing of the Lord your God will be on you in everything you do.
15:18 It shall not seem hard unto you, when you send him away free from you;
for he has been worth a double hired servant to you, in serving you six years:
and the LORD your God shall bless you in all that you do.
15:19 ○ 너의 우양의 처음 난 수컷은 구별하여 네 하나님 여호와께 드릴 것이니
네 소의 첫 새끼는 부리지 말고 네 양의 첫 새끼의 털은 깍지 말고
15:19 All the first males to come to birth in your herd and your flock are to be holy
to the Lord your God: the first birth of your ox is not to be used for work, the
wool of your first lamb is not to be cut.
15:19 All the first born males that come of your herd and of your flock you
shall sanctify unto the LORD your God: you shall do no work with the first born
of your bullock, nor shear the first born of your sheep.
15:20 너와 네 가족이 매년에 여호와의 택하신 곳 네 하나님 여호와 앞에서 먹을지니라
15:20 But year by year you and all your house are to take a meal of it before the Lord,
in the place of his selection.
15:20 You shall eat it before the LORD your God year by year in the place
which the LORD shall choose, you and your household.
15:21 그러나 그 짐승이 흠이 있어서 절거나 눈이 멀었거나 무슨 흠이 있든지
네 하나님 여호와께 잡아 드리지 못할지니
15:21 But if it has any mark on it, if it is blind or has damaged legs, or if there is
anything wrong with it, it may not be offered to the Lord your God.
15:21 And if there be any blemish therein, as if it be lame, or blind, or
have any ill blemish, you shall not sacrifice it unto the LORD your God.
15:22 네 성중에서 먹되 부정한 자나 정한 자가 다 같이 먹기를 노루와 사슴을
먹음 같이 할 것이요
15:22 It may be used for food in your houses: the unclean and the clean may take of it,
as of the gazelle and the roe.
15:22 You shall eat it within your gates: the unclean and the clean person
shall eat it alike, as the roebuck, and as the hart.
15:23 오직 피는 먹지 말고 물 같이 땅에 쏟을지니라
15:23 Only do not take its blood for food, but let it be drained out on the earth like
water.
15:23 Only you shall not eat the blood thereof; you shall pour it upon the
ground as water.
16:1 아빕월을 지켜 네 하나님 여호와의 유월절 예식을 행하라 이는 아빕월에
네 하나님 여호와께서 밤에 너를 애굽에서 인도하여 내셨음이라
16:1 Take note of the month of Abib and keep the Passover to the Lord your God: for in
the month of Abib the Lord your God took you out of Egypt by night.
16:1 Observe the month of Abib, and keep the passover unto the LORD your
God: for in the month of Abib the LORD your God brought you forth out of Egypt
by night.
16:2 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서 우양으로 네 하나님 여호와께
유월절 제사를 드리되
16:2 The Passover offering, from your flock or your herd, is to be given to the Lord
your God in the place marked out by him as the resting-place of his name.
16:2 You shall therefore sacrifice the passover unto the LORD your God, of
the flock and the herd, in the place which the LORD shall choose to place his
name there.
16:3 유교병을 그것과 아울러 먹지 말고 칠 일 동안은 무교병 곧 고난의 떡을 그것과
아울러 먹으라 이는 네가 애굽 땅에서 급속히 나왔음이니 이같이 행하여 너의 평생에
항상 네가 애굽 땅에서 나온 날을 기억할 것이니라
16:3 Take no leavened bread with it; for seven days let your food be unleavened bread,
that is, the bread of sorrow; for you came out of the land of Egypt quickly: so
the memory of that day, when you came out of the land of Egypt, will be with you
all your life.
16:3 You shall eat no leavened bread with it; seven days shall you eat unleavened
bread therewith, even the bread of affliction; for you came forth out of the
land of Egypt in haste: that you may remember the day when you came forth out
of the land of Egypt all the days of your life.
16:4 그 칠 일 동안에는 네 사경내에 누룩이 보이지 않게 할 것이요 또 네가 첫
날
해 질 때에 제사드린 고기를 밤을 지내어 아침까지 두지 말 것이며
16:4 For seven days let no leaven be used through all your land; and nothing of the flesh
which is put to death in the evening of the first day is to be kept through the
night till morning.
16:4 And there shall be no leavened bread seen with you in all your coast
seven days; neither shall there any thing of the flesh, which you sacrificed
the first day at even, remain all night until the morning.
16:5 유월절 제사를 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주신 각 성에서 드리지 말고
16:5 The Passover offering is not to be put to death in any of the towns which the Lord
your God gives you:
16:5 You may not sacrifice the passover within any of your gates, which the
LORD your God gives you:
16:6 오직 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서 네가 애굽에서
나오던 시각 곧 초저녁 해 질 때에 드리고
16:6 But in the place marked out by the Lord your God as the resting-place of his name,
there you are to put the Passover to death in the evening, at sundown, at that time
of the year when you came out of Egypt.
16:6 But at the place which the LORD your God shall choose to place his name
in, there you shall sacrifice the passover at even, at the going down of the
sun, at the season that you came forth out of Egypt.
16:7 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하신 곳에서 그 고기를 구워 먹고 아침에 네 장막으로
돌아갈 것이니라
16:7 It is to be cooked and taken as food in the place marked out by the Lord: and in
the morning you are to go back to your tents.
16:7 And you shall roast and eat it in the place which the LORD your God
shall choose: and you shall turn in the morning, and go unto your tents.
16:8 너는 육 일 동안은 무교병을 먹고 제 칠 일에 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 성회로
모이고 아무 노동도 하지 말지니라
16:8 For six days let your food be unleavened bread; and on the seventh day there is
to be a holy meeting to the Lord your God; no work is to be done.
16:8 Six days you shall eat unleavened bread: and on the seventh day shall
be a solemn assembly to the LORD your God: you shall do no work therein.
16:9 ○ 칠 주를 계수할지니 곡식에 낫을 대는 첫 날부터 칠 주를 계수하여
16:9 Let seven weeks be numbered from the first day when the grain is cut.
16:9 Seven weeks shall you number unto you: begin to number the seven weeks
from such time as you begin to put the sickle to the corn.
16:10 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 칠칠절을 지키되 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 복을
주신 대로 네 힘을 헤아려 자원하는 예물을 드리고
16:10 Then keep the feast of weeks to the Lord your God, with an offering freely given
to him from the wealth he has given you:
16:10 And you shall keep the feast of weeks unto the LORD your God with a
tribute of a freewill offering of yours hand, which you shall give unto the
LORD your God, according as the LORD your God has blessed you:
16:11 너와 네 자녀와 노비와 네 성중에 거하는 레위인과 및 너희 중에 있는 객과
고아와 과부가 함께 네 하나님 여호와께서 그 이름을 두시려고 택하신 곳에서 네
하나님 여호와 앞에서 즐거워할지니라
16:11 Then you are to be glad before the Lord your God, you and your son and your daughter,
your man-servant and your woman-servant, and the Levite who is with you, and the
man from a strange country, and the child without a father, and the widow, who are
living among you, in the place marked out by the Lord your God as a resting-place
for his name.
16:11 And you shall rejoice before the LORD your God, you, and your son,
and your daughter, and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite
that is within your gates, and the stranger, and the fatherless, and the widow,
that are among you, in the place which the LORD your God has chosen to place
his name there.
16:12 너는 애굽에서 종 되었던 것을 기억하고 이 규례를 지켜 행할지니라
16:12 And you will keep in mind that you were a servant in the land of Egypt: and you
will take care to keep all these laws.
16:12 And you shall remember that you were a bondman in Egypt: and you shall
observe and do these statutes.
16:13 ○ 너희 타작 마당과 포도주 틀의 소출을 수장한 후에 칠 일 동안 초막절을
지킬 것이요
16:13 You are to keep the feast of tents for seven days after you have got in all your
grain and made your wine:
16:13 You shall observe the feast of tabernacles seven days, after that you
have gathered in your corn and your wine:
16:14 절기를 지킬 때에는 너와 네 자녀와 노비와 네 성중에 거하는 레위인과
객과 고아와 과부가 함께 연락하되
16:14 You are to keep the feast with joy, you and your son and your daughter, your man-servant
and your woman-servant, and the Levite, and the man from a strange country, and
the child without a father, and the widow, who are living among you.
16:14 And you shall rejoice in your feast, you, and your son, and your daughter,
and your manservant, and your maidservant, and the Levite, the stranger, and
the fatherless, and the widow, that are within your gates.
16:15 네 하나님 여호와께서 택하신 곳에서 너는 칠 일 동안 네 하나님 여호와
앞에서 절기를 지키고 네 하나님 여호와께서 네 모든 물산과 네 손을 댄 모든 일에
복 주실 것을 인하여 너는 온전히 즐거워할지니라
16:15 Keep the feast to the Lord your God for seven days, in the place marked out by the
Lord: because the blessing of the Lord your God will be on all the produce of your
land and all the work of your hands, and you will have nothing but joy.
16:15 Seven days shall you keep a solemn feast unto the LORD your God in
the place which the LORD shall choose: because the LORD your God shall bless
you in all yours increase, and in all the works of yours hands, therefore you
shall surely rejoice.
16:16 너의 중 모든 남자는 일 년 삼 차 곧 무교절과 칠칠절과 초막절에 네 하나님
여호와의 택하신 곳에서 여호와께 보이되 공수로 여호와께 보이지 말고
16:16 Three times in the year let all your males come before the Lord your God in the
place named by him; at the feast of unleavened bread, the feast of weeks, and the
feast of tents: and they are not to come before the Lord with nothing in their hands;
16:16 Three times in a year shall all your males appear before the LORD your
God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and
in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear
before the LORD empty:
16:17 각 사람이 네 하나님 여호와의 주신 복을 따라 그 힘대로 물건을 드릴지니라
16:17 Every man is to give as he is able, in the measure of the blessing which the Lord
your God has given you.
16:17 Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the
LORD your God which he has given you.
16:18 ○ 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 각 성에서 네 지파를 따라 재판장과
유사를 둘 것이요 그들은 공의로 백성을 재판할 것이니라
16:18 You are to make judges and overseers in all your towns which the Lord your God gives
you, for every tribe: and they are to be upright men, judging the people in righteousness.
16:18 Judges and officers shall you make you in all your gates, which the
LORD your God gives you, throughout your tribes: and they shall judge the people
with just judgment.
16:19 너는 굽게 판단하지 말며 사람을 외모로 보지 말며 또 뇌물을 받지 말라
뇌물은 지혜자의 눈을 어둡게 하고 의인의 말을 굽게 하느니라
16:19 You are not to be moved in your judging by a man's position, you are not to take
rewards; for rewards make the eyes of the wise man blind, and the decisions of the
upright false.
16:19 You shall not shift judgment; you shall not respect persons, neither
take a gift: for a gift does blind the eyes of the wise, and pervert the words
of the righteous.
16:20 너는 마땅히 공의만 좇으라 그리하면 네가 살겠고 네 하나님 여호와께서
네게 주시는 땅을 얻으리라
16:20 Let righteousness be your guide, so that you may have life, and take for your heritage
the land which the Lord your God is giving you.
16:20 That which is altogether just shall you follow, that you may live,
and inherit the land which the LORD your God gives you.
16:21 ○ 네 하나님 여호와를 위하여 쌓은 단 곁에 아무 나무로든지 아세라 상을
세우지 말며
16:21 Let no holy tree of any sort be planted by the altar of the Lord your God which
you will make.
16:21 You shall not plant you a grove of any trees near unto the altar of
the LORD your God, which you shall make you.
16:22 자기를 위하여 주상을 세우지 말라 네 하나님 여호와께서 미워하시느니라
16:22 You are not to put up stone pillars, for they are hated by the Lord your God.
16:22 Neither shall you set you up any image; which the LORD your God hates.
17:1 무릇 흠이나 악질이 있는 우양은 네 하나님 여호와께 드리지 말지니 이는
네 하나님 여호와께 가증한 것이 됨이니라
17:1 No ox or sheep which has a mark on it or is damaged in any way may be offered to
the Lord your God: for that is disgusting to the Lord your God.
17:1 You shall not sacrifice unto the LORD your God any bullock, or sheep,
wherein is blemish, or any evil thing: for that is an abomination unto the LORD
your God.
17:2 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 어느 성중에서든지 너의 가운데 혹시
어떤 남자나 여자가 네 하나님 여호와의 목전에 악을 행하여 그 언약을 어기고
17:2 If there is any man or woman among you, in any of the towns which the Lord your
God gives you, who does evil in the eyes of the Lord your God, sinning against his
agreement,
17:2 If there be found among you, within any of your gates which the LORD
your God gives you, man or woman, that has wrought wickedness in the sight of
the LORD your God, in transgressing his covenant,
17:3 가서 다른 신들을 섬겨 그것에게 절하며 내가 명하지 아니한 일월성신에게
절한다 하자
17:3 By becoming a servant of other gods and worshipping them or the sun or the moon
or all the stars of heaven, against my orders;
17:3 And has gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the
sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
17:4 혹이 그 일을 네게 고하므로 네가 듣거든 자세히 사실하여 볼지니 만일 그
일과 말이 확실하여 이스라엘 중에 이런 가증한 일을 행함이 있으면
17:4 If word of this comes to your ears, then let this thing be looked into with care,
and if there is no doubt that it is true, and such evil has been done in Israel;
17:4 And it be told you, and you have heard of it, and enquired diligently,
and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought
in Israel:
17:5 너는 그 악을 행한 남자나 여자를 네 성문으로 끌어내고 돌로 그 남자나
여자를 쳐죽이되
17:5 Then you are to take the man or woman who has done the evil to the public place
of your town, and they are to be stoned with stones till they are dead.
17:5 Then shall you bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed
that wicked thing, unto your gates, even that man or that woman, and shall stone
them with stones, till they die.
17:6 죽일 자를 두 사람이나 세 사람의 증거로 죽일 것이요 한 사람의 증거로는
죽이지 말 것이며
17:6 On the word of two or three witnesses, a man may be given the punishment of death;
but he is not to be put to death on the word of one witness.
17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is
worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not
be put to death.
17:7 이런 자를 죽임에는 증인이 먼저 그에게 손을 댄 후에 뭇 백성이 손을 댈지니라
너는 이와 같이 하여 너의 중에 악을 제할지니라
17:7 The hands of the witnesses will be the first to put him to death, and after them
the hands of all the people. So you are to put away the evil from among you.
17:7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death,
and afterward the hands of all the people. So you shall put the evil away from
among you.
17:8 네 성중에서 송사로 다투는 일이 있으되 서로 피를 흘렸거나 다투었거나
구타하였거나 하여 네가 판결하기 어려운 일이 생기거든 너는 일어나 네 하나님 여호와의
택하실 곳으로 올라가서
17:8 If you are not able to give a decision as to who is responsible for a death, or
who is right in a cause, or who gave the first blow in a fight, and there is a division
of opinion about it in your town: then go to the place marked out by the Lord your
God;
17:8 If there arise a matter too hard for you in judgment, between blood
and blood, between plea and plea, and between stroke and stroke, being matters
of controversy within your gates: then shall you arise, and get you up into
the place which the LORD your God shall choose;
17:9 레위 사람 제사장과 당시 재판장에게로 나아가서 물으라 그리하면 그들이
어떻게 판결할 것을 네게 가르치리니
17:9 And come before the priests, the Levites, or before him who is judge at the time:
and they will go into the question and give you a decision:
17:9 And you shall come unto the priests the Levites, and unto the judge
that shall be in those days, and enquire; and they shall show you the sentence
of judgment:
17:10 여호와께서 택하신 곳에서 그들이 네게 보이는 판결의 뜻대로 네가 행하되
무릇 그들이 네게 가르치는 대로 삼가 행할 것이니
17:10 And you are to be guided by the decision they give in the place named by the Lord,
and do whatever they say:
17:10 And you shall do according to the sentence, which they of that place
which the LORD shall choose shall show you; and you shall observe to do according
to all that they inform you:
17:11 곧 그들이 네게 가르치는 법률의 뜻대로, 그들이 네게 고하는 판결대로
행할 것이요 그들이 네게 보이는 판결을 어기어서 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 말 것이니라
17:11 Acting in agreement with their teaching and the decision they give: not turning
to one side or the other from the word they have given you.
17:11 According to the sentence of the law which they shall teach you, and
according to the judgment which they shall tell you, you shall do: you shall
not decline from the sentence which they shall show you, to the right hand,
nor to the left.
17:12 사람이 만일 천자히 하고 네 하나님 여호와 앞에 서서 섬기는 제사장이나
재판장을 듣지 아니하거든 그 사람을 죽여 이스라엘 중에서 악을 제하여 버리라
17:12 And any man who, in his pride, will not give ear to the priest whose place is there
before the Lord your God, or to the judge, is to be put to death: you are to put
away the evil from Israel.
17:12 And the man that will do presumptuously, and will not hearken unto
the priest that stands to minister there before the LORD your God, or unto the
judge, even that man shall die: and you shall put away the evil from Israel.
17:13 그리하면 온 백성이 듣고 두려워하여 다시는 천자히 행치 아니하리라
17:13 And all the people, hearing of it, will be full of fear and put away their pride.
17:13 And all the people shall hear, and fear, and do no more presumptuously.
17:14 네가 네 하나님 여호와께서 네게 주시는 땅에 이르러서 그 땅을 얻어 거할
때에 만일 우리도 우리 주위의 열국 같이 우리 위에 왕을 세우리라는 뜻이 나거든
17:14 When you have come into the land which the Lord your God is giving you, and have
taken it for a heritage and are living in it, if it is your desire to have a king
over you, like the other nations round about you;
17:14 When you are come unto the land which the LORD your God gives you,
and shall possess it, and shall dwell therein, and shall say, I will set a king
over me, like all the nations that are about me;
17:15 반드시 네 하나님 여호와의 택하신 자를 네 위에 왕으로 세울 것이며 네
위에 왕을 세우려면 네 형제 중에서 한 사람으로 할 것이요 네 형제 아닌 타국인을
네 위에 세우지 말 것이며
17:15 Then see that you take as your king the man named by the Lord your God: let your
king be one of your countrymen, not a man of another nation who is not one of yourselves.
17:15 You shall in any way set him king over you, whom the LORD your God
shall choose: one from among your brethren shall you set king over you: you
may not set a stranger over you, which is not your brother.
17:16 왕 된 자는 말을 많이 두지 말 것이요 말을 많이 얻으려고 그 백성을 애굽으로
돌아가게 말 것이니 이는 여호와께서 너희에게 이르시기를 너희가 이후에는 그 길로
다시 돌아가지 말 것이라 하셨음이며
17:16 And he is not to get together a great army of horses for himself, or make the people
go back to Egypt to get horses for him: because the Lord has said, You will never
again go back that way.
17:16 But he shall not multiply horses to himself, nor cause the people to
return to Egypt, to the end that he should multiply horses: forasmuch as the
LORD has said unto you, All of you shall henceforth return no more that way.
17:17 아내를 많이 두어서 그 마음이 미혹되게 말 것이며 은금을 자기를 위하여
많이 쌓지 말 것이니라
17:17 And he is not to have a great number of wives, for fear that his heart may be turned
away; or great wealth of silver and gold.
17:17 Neither shall he multiply wives to himself, that his heart turn not
away: neither shall he greatly multiply to himself silver and gold.
17:18 그가 왕위에 오르거든 레위 사람 제사장 앞에 보관한 이 율법서를 등사하여
17:18 And when he has taken his place on the seat of his kingdom, he is to make in a book
a copy of this law, from that which the priests, the Levites, have in their care:
17:18 And it shall be, when he sits upon the throne of his kingdom, that
he shall write him a copy of this law in a book out of that which is before
the priests the Levites:
17:19 평생에 자기 옆에 두고 읽어서 그 하나님 여호와 경외하기를 배우며 이
율법의 모든 말과 이 규례를 지켜 행할 것이라
17:19 And it is to be with him for his reading all the days of his life, so that he may
be trained in the fear of the Lord his God to keep and do all the words of this
teaching and these laws:
17:19 And it shall be with him, and he shall read therein all the days of
his life: that he may learn to fear the LORD his God, to keep all the words
of this law and these statutes, to do them:
17:20 그리하면 그의 마음이 그 형제 위에 교만하지 아니하고 이 명령에서
떠나 좌로나 우로나 치우치지 아니하리니 이스라엘 중에서 그와 그의 자손의 왕위에
있는 날이 장구하리라
17:20 So that his heart may not be lifted up over his countrymen, and he may not be turned
away from the orders, to one side or the other: but that his life and the lives
of his children may be long in his kingdom in Israel.
17:20 That his heart be not lifted up above his brethren, and that he turn
not aside from the commandment, to the right hand, or to the left: to the end
that he may prolong his days in his kingdom, he, and his children, in the midst
of Israel.
