1:1 여호와께서 브두엘의 아들 요엘에게 이르신 말씀이라
1:1 The word of the Lord which came to Joel, the son of Pethuel.
1:1 The word of the LORD that came to Joel the son of Pethuel.
1:2 ○ 늙은 자들아 너희는 이것을 들을지어다 땅의 모든 거민아 너희는 귀를
기울일지어다 너희의 날에나 너희 열조의 날에 이런 일이 있었느냐
1:2 Give ear to this, you old men, and take note, you people of the land. Has this ever
been in your days, or in the days of your fathers?
1:2 Hear this, all of you old men, and give ear, all you inhabitants of the
land. Has this been in your days, or even in the days of your fathers?
1:3 너희는 이 일을 너희 자녀에게 고하고 너희 자녀는 자기 자녀에게 고하고
그 자녀는 후시대에 고할 것이니라
1:3 Give the story of it to your children, and let them give it to their children, and
their children to another generation.
1:3 Tell all of you your children of it, and let your children tell their
children, and their children another generation.
1:4 팟종이가 남긴 것을 메뚜기가 먹고 메뚜기가 남긴 것을 늣이 먹고 늣이 남긴
것을 황충이 먹었도다
1:4 What the worm did not make a meal of, has been taken by the locust; and what the
locust did not take, has been food for the plant-worm; and what the plant-worm did
not take, has been food for the field-fly.
1:4 That which the palmerworm has left has the locust eaten; and that which
the locust has left has the cankerworm eaten; and that which the cankerworm
has left has the caterpillar eaten.
1:5 ○ 무릇 취하는 자들아 너희는 깨어 울지어다 포도주를 마시는 자들아 너희는
곡할지어다 이는 단 포도주가 너희 입에서 끊어졌음이니
1:5 Come out of your sleep, you who are overcome with wine, and give yourselves to weeping;
give cries of sorrow, all you drinkers of wine, because of the sweet wine; for it
has been cut off from your mouths.
1:5 Awake, all of you drunkards, and weep; and wail, all you drinkers of
wine, because of the new wine; for it is cut off from your mouth.
1:6 한 이족이 내 땅에 올라왔음이로다 그들은 강하고 무수하며 그 이는 사자의
이 같고 그 어금니는 암사자의 어금니 같도다
1:6 For a nation has come up over my land, strong and without number; his teeth are
the teeth of a lion, and he has the back teeth of a great lion.
1:6 For a nation has come up upon my land, strong, and without number, whose
teeth are the teeth of a lion, and he has the cheek teeth of a great lion.
1:7 그들이 내 포도나무를 멸하며 내 무화과나무를 긁어 말갛게 벗겨서 버리니
그 모든 가지가 하얗게 되었도다
1:7 By him my vine is made waste and my fig-tree broken: he has taken all its fruit
and sent it down to the earth; its branches are made white.
1:7 He has laid my vine waste, and barked my fig tree: he has made it clean
bare, and cast it away; the branches thereof are made white.
1:8 ○ 너희는 애곡하기를 처녀가 어렸을 때에 약혼한 남편을 인하여 굵은 베로
동이고 애곡함 같이 할지어다
1:8 Make sounds of grief like a virgin dressed in haircloth for the husband of her early
years.
1:8 Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.
1:9 소제와 전제가 여호와의 전에 끊어졌고 여호와께 수종드는 제사장은 슬퍼하도다
1:9 The meal offering and the drink offering have been cut off from the house of the
Lord; the priests, the Lord's servants, are sorrowing.
1:9 The food offering and the drink offering is cut off from the house of
the LORD; the priests, the LORD's ministers, mourn.
1:10 밭이 황무하고 토지가 처량하니 곡식이 진하여 새 포도주가 말랐고 기름이
다하였도다
1:10 The fields are wasted, the land has become dry; for the grain is wasted, the new
wine is kept back, the oil is poor.
1:10 The field is wasted, the land mourns; for the corn is wasted: the new
wine is dried up, the oil languishes.
1:11 농부들아 너희는 부끄러워할지어다 포도원을 다스리는 자들아 곡할지어다
이는 밀과 보리의 연고라 밭의 소산이 다 없어졌음이로다
1:11 The farmers are shamed, the workers in the vine-gardens give cries of grief, for
the wheat and the barley; for the produce of the fields has come to destruction.
1:11 Be all of you ashamed, O all of you husbandmen; wail, O all of you vinedressers,
for the wheat and for the barley; because the harvest of the field is perished.
1:12 포도나무가 시들었고 무화과나무가 말랐으며 석류나무와 대추나무와 사과나무와
및 밭의 모든 나무가 다 시들었으니 이러므로 인간의 희락이 말랐도다
1:12 The vine has become dry and the fig-tree is feeble; the pomegranate and the palm-tree
and the apple-tree, even all the trees of the field, are dry: because joy has gone
from the sons of men.
1:12 The vine is dried up, and the fig tree languishes; the pomegranate tree,
the palm tree also, and the apple tree, even all the trees of the field, are
withered: because joy is withered away from the sons of men.
1:13 ○ 제사장들아 너희는 굵은 베로 동이고 슬피 울지어다 단에 수종드는 자들아
너희는 곡할지어다 내 하나님께 수종드는 자들아 너희는 와서 굵은 베를 입고 밤이
맞도록 누울지어다 이는 소제와 전제를 너희 하나님의 전에 드리지 못함이라
1:13 Put haircloth round you and give yourselves to sorrow, you priests; give cries of
grief, you servants of the altar: come in, and, clothed in haircloth, let the night
go past, you servants of my God: for the meal offering and the drink offering have
been kept back from the house of your God.
1:13 Gird yourselves, and lament, all of you priests: wail, all of you ministers
of the altar: come, lie all night in sackcloth, all of you ministers of my God:
for the food offering and the drink offering is withheld from the house of your
God.
1:14 너희는 금식일을 정하고 성회를 선포하여 장로들과 이 땅 모든 거민을 너희
하나님 여호와의 전으로 몰수히 모으고 여호와께 부르짖을지어다
1:14 Let a time be fixed for going without food, have a holy meeting, let the old men,
even all the people of the land, come together to the house of the Lord your God,
crying out to the Lord.
1:14 Sanctify all of you a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders
and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and
cry unto the LORD,
1:15 오호라 그 날이여 여호와의 날이 가까왔나니 곧 멸망 같이 전능자에게로서
이르리로다
1:15 Sorrow for the day! for the day of the Lord is near, and as destruction from the
Ruler of all it will come.
1:15 Alas for the day! for the day of the LORD is at hand, and as a destruction
from the Almighty shall it come.
1:16 식물이 우리 목전에 끊어지지 아니하였느냐 기쁨과 즐거움이 우리 하나님의
전에 끊어지지 아니하였느냐
1:16 Is not food cut off before our eyes? joy and delight from the house of our God?
1:16 Is not the food cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from
the house of our God?
1:17 씨가 흙덩이 아래서 썩어졌고 창고가 비었고 곳간이 무너졌으니 이는 곡식이
시들었음이로다
1:17 The grains have become small and dry under the spade; the store-houses are made
waste, the grain-stores are broken down; for the grain is dry and dead.
1:17 The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate,
the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered.
1:18 생축이 탄식하고 소 떼가 민망해 하니 이는 꼴이 없음이라 양 떼도 피곤하도다
1:18 What sounds of pain come from the beasts! the herds of cattle are at a loss because
there is no grass for them; even the flocks of sheep are no longer to be seen.
1:18 How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because
they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate.
1:19 여호와여 내가 주께 부르짖으오니 불이 거친 들의 풀을 살랐고 불꽃이 밭의
모든 나무를 살랐음이니이다
1:19 O Lord, my cry goes up to you: for fire has put an end to the grass-lands of the
waste, and all the trees of the field are burned with its flame.
1:19 O LORD, to you will I cry: for the fire has devoured the pastures of
the wilderness, and the flame has burned all the trees of the field.
1:20 들짐승도 주를 향하여 헐떡거리오니 시내가 다 말랐고 들의 풀이 불에 탔음이니이다
1:20 The beasts of the field are turning to you with desire: for the water-streams are
dry and fire has put an end to the grass-lands of the waste.
1:20 The beasts of the field cry also unto you: for the rivers of waters
are dried up, and the fire has devoured the pastures of the wilderness.
2:1 시온에서 나팔을 불며 나의 성산에서 호각을 불어 이 땅 거민으로 다 떨게
할지니 이는 여호와의 날이 이르게 됨이니라 이제 임박하였으나
2:1 Let the horn be sounded in Zion, and a war-cry in my holy mountain; let all the
people of the land be troubled: for the day of the Lord is coming;
2:1 Blow all of you the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain:
let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD comes,
for it is nigh at hand;
2:2 곧 어둡고 캄캄한 날이요 빽빽한 구름이 끼인 날이라 새벽 빛이 산 꼭대기에
덮인 것과 같으니 이는 많고 강한 백성이 이르렀음이라 이같은 것이 자고 이래로
없었고 이후 세세에 없으리로다
2:2 For a day of dark and deep shade is near, a day of cloud and black night: like a
black cloud a great and strong people is covering the mountains; there has never
been any like them and will not be after them again, from generation to generation.
2:2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness,
as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there
has not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the
years of many generations.
2:3 불이 그들의 앞을 사르며 불꽃이 그들의 뒤를 태우니 그 전의 땅은 에덴 동산
같았으나 그 후의 땅은 황무한 들 같으니 그들을 피한 자가 없도다
2:3 Before them fire sends destruction, and after them flame is burning: the land is
like the garden of Eden before them, and after them an unpeopled waste; truly, nothing
has been kept safe from them.
2:3 A fire devours before them; and behind them a flame burns: the land is
as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea,
and nothing shall escape them.
2:4 ○ 그 모양은 말 같고 그 달리는 것은 기병 같으며
2:4 Their form is like the form of horses, and they are running like war-horses.
2:4 The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen,
so shall they run.
2:5 그들의 산 꼭대기에서 뛰는 소리가 병거 소리와도 같고 불꽃이 초개를 사르는
소리와도 같으며 강한 군사가 항오를 벌이고 싸우는 것 같으니
2:5 Like the sound of war-carriages they go jumping on the tops of the mountains; like
the noise of a flame of fire burning up the grain-stems, like a strong people lined
up for the fight.
2:5 Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap,
like the noise of a flame of fire that devours the stubble, as a strong people
set in battle array.
2:6 그 앞에서 만민이 송구하여 하며 무리의 낯빛이 하얘졌도다
2:6 At their coming the people are bent with pain: all faces become red together.
2:6 Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather
blackness.
2:7 그들이 용사 같이 달리며 무사 같이 성을 더위잡고 오르며 각기 자기의 길로
행하되 그 항오를 어기지 아니하며
2:7 They are running like strong men, they go over the wall like men of war; every man
goes straight on his way, their lines are not broken.
2:7 They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of
war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their
ranks:
2:8 피차에 부딪히지 아니하고 각기 자기의 길로 행하며 병기를 충돌하고 나아가나
상치 아니하며
2:8 No one is pushing against another; everyone goes straight on his way: bursting through
the sword points, their order is not broken.
2:8 Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path:
and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
2:9 성중에 뛰어 들어가며 성 위에 달리며 집에 더위잡고 오르며 도적 같이 창으로
들어가니
2:9 They make a rush on the town, running on the wall; they go up into the houses and
in through the windows like a thief.
2:9 They shall run back and forth in the city; they shall run upon the wall,
they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like
a thief.
2:10 그 앞에서 땅이 진동하며 하늘이 떨며 일월이 캄캄하며 별들이 빛을 거두도다
2:10 The earth is troubled before them and the heavens are shaking: the sun and the moon
have become dark, and the stars keep back their shining:
2:10 The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun
and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
2:11 여호와께서 그 군대 앞에서 소리를 발하시고 그 진은 심히 크고 그 명령을
행하는 자는 강하니 여호와의 날이 크고 심히 두렵도다 당할 자가 누구이랴
2:11 And the Lord is thundering before his forces; for very great is his army; for he
is strong who gives effect to his word: for the day of the Lord is great and greatly
to be feared, and who has strength against it?
2:11 And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is
very great: for he is strong that executes his word: for the day of the LORD
is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
2:12 ○ 여호와의 말씀에 너희는 이제라도 금식하며 울며 애통하고 마음을 다하여
내게로 돌아오라 하셨나니
2:12 But even now, says the Lord, come back to me with all your heart, keeping from food,
with weeping and with sorrow:
2:12 Therefore also now, says the LORD, turn all of you even to me with all
your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
2:13 너희는 옷을 찢지 말고 마음을 찢고 너희 하나님 여호와께로 돌아올지어다
그는 은혜로우시며 자비로우시며 노하기를 더디하시며 인애가 크시사 뜻을 돌이켜
재앙을 내리지 아니하시나니
2:13 Let your hearts be broken, and not your clothing, and come back to the Lord your
God: for he is full of grace and pity, slow to be angry and great in mercy, ready
to be turned from his purpose of punishment.
2:13 And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto the LORD your
God: for he is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness,
and repents him of the evil.
2:14 주께서 혹시 마음과 뜻을 돌이키시고 그 뒤에 복을 끼치사 너희 하나님 여호와께
소제와 전제를 드리게 하지 아니하실는지 누가 알겠느냐
2:14 May it not be that he will again let his purpose be changed and let a blessing come
after him, even a meal offering and a drink offering for the Lord your God?
2:14 Who knows if he will return and repent, and leave a blessing behind
him; even a food offering and a drink offering unto the LORD your God?
2:15 ○ 너희는 시온에서 나팔을 불어 거룩한 금식일을 정하고 성회를 선고하고
2:15 Let a horn be sounded in Zion, let a time be fixed for going without food, have
a holy meeting:
2:15 Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly:
2:16 백성을 모아 그 회를 거룩케 하고 장로를 모으며 소아와 젖 먹는 자를 모으며
신랑을 그 방에서 나오게 하며 신부도 그 골방에서 나오게 하고
2:16 Get the people together, make the mass of the people holy, send for the old men,
get together the children and babies at the breast: let the newly married man come
out of his room and the bride from her tent.
2:16 Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather
the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go out of
his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
2:17 여호와께 수종드는 제사장들은 낭실과 단 사이에서 울며 이르기를 여호와여
주의 백성을 긍휼히 여기소서 주의 기업으로 욕되게 하여 열국들로 그들을 관할하지
못하게 하옵소서 어찌하여 이방인으로 그들의 하나님이 어디 있느뇨 말하게 하겠나이까
할지어다
2:17 Let the priests, the servants of the Lord, be weeping between the covered way and
the altar, and let them say, Have mercy on your people, O Lord, do not give up your
heritage to shame, so that the nations become their rulers: why let them say among
the peoples, Where is their God?
2:17 Let the priests, the ministers of the LORD, weep between the porch and
the altar, and let them say, Spare your people, O LORD, and give not yours heritage
to reproach, that the heathen should rule over them: wherefore should they say
among the people, Where is their God?
2:18 ○ 그 때에 여호와께서 자기 땅을 위하여 중심이 뜨거우시며 그 백성을 긍휼히
여기실 것이라
2:18 Then the Lord had a care for the honour of his land and had pity on his people.
2:18 Then will the LORD be jealous for his land, and pity his people.
2:19 여호와께서 그들에게 응답하여 이르시기를 내가 너희에게 곡식과 새 포도주와
기름을 주리니 너희가 이로 인하여 흡족하리라 내가 다시는 너희로 열국 중에서 욕을
당하지 않게 할 것이며
2:19 And the Lord made answer and said to his people, See, I will send you grain and
wine and oil in full measure: and I will no longer let you be shamed among the nations:
2:19 Yea, the LORD will answer and say unto his people, Behold, I will send
you corn, and wine, and oil, and all of you shall be satisfied therewith: and
I will no more make you a reproach among the heathen:
2:20 내가 북편 군대를 너희에게서 멀리 떠나게 하여 메마르고 적막한 땅으로
쫓아내리니 그 전군은 동해로 그 후군은 서해로 들어갈 것이라 상한 냄새가 일어나고
악취가 오르리니 이는 큰 일을 행하였음이니라 하시리라
2:20 I will send the one from the north far away from you, driving him into a dry and
waste land, with his front to the sea of the east and his back to the sea of the
west, and the smell of him will go up, even his evil smell will go up.
2:20 But I will remove far off from you the northern army, and will drive
him into a land barren and desolate, with his face toward the east sea, and
his hinder part toward the utmost sea, and his stink shall come up, and his
ill savour shall come up, because he has done great things.
2:21 ○ 땅이여 두려워 말고 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다 여호와께서 큰 일을 행하셨음이로다
2:21 Have no fear, O land; be glad with great joy; for the Lord has done great things.
2:21 Fear not, O land; be glad and rejoice: for the LORD will do great things.
2:22 들짐승들아 두려워 말지어다 들의 풀이 싹이 나며 나무가 열매를 맺으며
무화과나무와 포도나무가 다 힘을 내는도다
2:22 Have no fear, you beasts of the field, for the grass-lands of the waste are becoming
green, for the trees are producing fruit, the fig-tree and the vine give out their
strength.
2:22 Be not afraid, all of you beasts of the field: for the pastures of the
wilderness do spring, for the tree bears her fruit, the fig tree and the vine
do yield their strength.
2:23 시온의 자녀들아 너희는 너희 하나님 여호와로 인하여 기뻐하며 즐거워할지어다
그가 너희를 위하여 비를 내리시되 이른 비를 너희에게 적당하게 주시리니 이른 비와 늦은 비가 전과 같을 것이라
2:23 Be glad, then, you children of Zion, and have joy in the Lord your God: for he gives
you food in full measure, making the rain come down for you, the early and the late
rain as at the first.
2:23 Be glad then, all of you children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD your
God: for he has given you the former rain moderately, and he will cause to come
down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter rain in the first month.
2:24 마당에는 밀이 가득하고 독에는 새 포도주와 기름이 넘치리로다
2:24 And the floors will be full of grain, and the crushing-places overflowing with wine
and oil.
2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the vats shall overflow with
wine and oil.
2:25 내가 전에 너희에게 보낸 큰 군대 곧 메뚜기와 늣과 황충과 팟종이의 먹은
햇수대로 너희에게 갚아 주리니
2:25 I will give back to you the years which were food for the locust, the plant-worm,
the field-fly, and the worm, my great army which I sent among you.
2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm,
and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.
2:26 너희는 먹되 풍족히 먹고 너희를 기이히 대접한 너희 하나님 여호와의 이름을
찬송할 것이라 내 백성이 영영히 수치를 당치 아니하리로다
2:26 You will have food in full measure, and give praise to the name of the Lord your
God, who has done wonders for you:
2:26 And all of you shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the
name of the LORD your God, that has dealt wondrously with you: and my people
shall never be ashamed.
2:27 그런즉 내가 이스라엘 가운데 있어 너희 하나님 여호와가 되고 다른 이가
없는 줄을 너희가 알 것이라 내 백성이 영영히 수치를 당치 아니하리로다
2:27 And you will be certain that I am in Israel, and that I am the Lord your God, and
there is no other: and my people will never be shamed.
2:27 And all of you shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that
I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never be ashamed.
2:28 ○ 그 후에 내가 내 신을 만민에게 부어 주리니 너희 자녀들이 장래일을
말할 것이며 너희 늙은이는 꿈을 꾸며 너희 젊은이는 이상을 볼 것이며
2:28 And after that, it will come about, says the Lord, that I will send my spirit on
all flesh; and your sons and your daughters will be prophets, your old men will
have dreams, your young men will see visions:
2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit
upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men
shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:
2:29 그 때에 내가 또 내 신으로 남종과 여종에게 부어 줄 것이며
2:29 And on the servants and the servant-girls in those days I will send my spirit.
2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will
I pour out my spirit.
2:30 내가 이적을 하늘과 땅에 베풀리니 곧 피와 불과 연기 기둥이라
2:30 And I will let wonders be seen in the heavens and on the earth, blood and fire and
pillars of smoke.
2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and
fire, and pillars of smoke.
2:31 여호와의 크고 두려운 날이 이르기 전에 해가 어두워지고 달이 핏빛 같이
변하려니와
2:31 The sun will be made dark and the moon turned to blood, before the great day of
the Lord comes, a day to be feared.
2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before
the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
2:32 누구든지 여호와의 이름을 부르는 자는 구원을 얻으리니 이는 나 여호와의
말대로 시온 산과 예루살렘에서 피할 자가 있을 것임이요 남은 자 중에 나 여호와의
부름을 받을 자가 있을 것임이니라
2:32 And it will be that whoever makes his prayer to the name of the Lord will be kept
safe: for in Mount Zion and in Jerusalem some will be kept safe, as the Lord has
said, and will be among the small band marked out by the Lord.
2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of
the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance,
as the LORD has said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
3:1 그 날 곧 내가 유다와 예루살렘의 사로잡힌 자를 돌아오게 할 그 때에
3:1 For in those days and in that time, when I let the fate of Judah and Jerusalem be
changed,
3:1 For, behold, in those days, and in that time, when I shall bring again
the captivity of Judah and Jerusalem,
3:2 내가 만국을 모아 데리고 여호사밧 골짜기에 내려가서 내 백성 곧 내 기업된
이스라엘을 위하여 거기서 그들을 국문하리니 이는 그들이 이스라엘을 열국 중에
흩고 나의 땅을 나누었음이며
3:2 I will get together all the nations, and make them come down into the valley of
Jehoshaphat; and there I will take up with them the cause of my people and of my
heritage Israel, whom they have sent wandering among the nations, and of my land
which has been parted by them.
3:2 I will also gather all nations, and will bring them down into the valley
of Jehoshaphat, and will plead with them there for my people and for my heritage
Israel, whom they have scattered among the nations, and parted my land.
3:3 또 제비 뽑아 내 백성을 취하고 동남으로 기생을 바꾸며 동녀로 술을 바꾸어
마셨음이니라
3:3 And they have put the fate of my people to the decision of chance: giving a boy
for the price of a loose woman and a girl for a drink of wine.
3:3 And they have cast lots for my people; and have given a boy for an harlot,
and sold a girl for wine, that they might drink.
3:4 두로와 시돈과 블레셋 사방아 너희가 나와 무슨 상관이 있느냐 너희가 내게
보복하겠느냐 만일 내게 보복하면 너희의 보복하는 것을 내가 속속히 너희 머리에
돌리리니
3:4 And further, what are you to me, O Tyre and Zidon and all the circle of Philistia?
will you give me back any payment? and if you do, quickly and suddenly I will send
it back on your head,
3:4 Yea, and what have all of you to do with me, O Tyre, and Zidon, and all
the coasts of Palestine? will all of you render me a recompence? and if all
of you recompense me, swiftly and speedily will I return your recompence upon
your own head;
3:5 곧 너희가 내 은과 금을 취하고 나의 진기한 보물을 너희 신궁으로 가져갔으며
3:5 For you have taken my silver and my gold, putting in the houses of your gods my
beautiful and pleasing things.
3:5 Because all of you have taken my silver and my gold, and have carried
into your temples my goodly pleasant things:
3:6 또 유다 자손과 예루살렘 자손들을 헬라 족속에게 팔아서 본 지경에서 멀리
떠나게 하였음이니라
3:6 And the children of Judah and the children of Jerusalem you have given for a price
to the sons of the Greeks, to send them far away from their land:
3:6 The children also of Judah and the children of Jerusalem have all of
you sold unto the Grecians, that all of you might remove them far from their
border.
3:7 보라 내가 그들을 너희가 팔아 이르게 한 곳에서 일으켜 나오게 하고 너희의
행한 것을 너희 머리에 돌려서
3:7 See, I will have them moved from the place where you have sent them, and will let
what you have done come back on your head;
3:7 Behold, I will raise them out of the place where all of you have sold
them, and will return your recompence upon your own head:
3:8 너희 자녀를 유다 자손의 손에 팔리니 그들은 다시 먼 나라 스바 사람에게
팔리라 나 여호와가 말하였느니라
3:8 I will give your sons and your daughters into the hands of the children of Judah
for a price, and they will give them for a price to the men of Sheba, a nation far
off: for the Lord has said it.
3:8 And I will sell your sons and your daughters into the hand of the children
of Judah, and they shall sell them to the Sabeans, to a people far off: for
the LORD has spoken it.
3:9 ○ 너희는 열국에 이렇게 광포할지어다 너희는 전쟁을 준비하고 용사를 격려하고
무사로 다 가까이 나아와서 올라오게 할지어다
3:9 Give this out among the nations; make ready for war: get the strong men awake; let
all the men of war come near, let them come up.
3:9 Proclaim all of you this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the
mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:
3:10 너희는 보습을 쳐서 칼을 만들지어다 낫을 쳐서 창을 만들지어다 약한 자도
이르기를 나는 강하다 할지어다
3:10 Get your plough-blades hammered into swords, and your vine-knives into spears: let
the feeble say, I am strong.
3:10 Beat your plowshares into swords and your pruning hooks into spears:
let the weak say, I am strong.
3:11 사면의 열국아 너희는 속히 와서 모일지어다 여호와여 주의 용사들로 그리로
내려오게 하옵소서
3:11 Come quickly, all you nations round about, and get yourselves together there: make
your strong ones come down, O Lord.
3:11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all you heathen, and gather yourselves
together round about: thither cause your mighty ones to come down, O LORD.
3:12 열국은 동하여 여호사밧 골짜기로 올라올지어다 내가 거기 앉아서 사면의
열국을 다 심판하리로다
3:12 Let the nations be awake, and come to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there I will
be seated as judge of all the nations round about.
3:12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat:
for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.
3:13 너희는 낫을 쓰라 곡식이 익었도다 와서 밟을지어다 포도주 틀이 가득히
차고 포도주 독이 넘치니 그들의 악이 큼이로다
3:13 Put in the blade, for the grain is ready: come, get you down, for the wine-crusher
is full, the vessels are overflowing; for great is their evil-doing.
3:13 Put all of you in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you
down; for the press is full, the wine-vats overflow; for their wickedness is
great.
3:14 ○ 사람이 많음이여 판결 골짜기에 사람이 많음이여 판결 골짜기에 여호와의
날이 가까움이로다
3:14 Masses on masses in the valley of decision! for the day of the Lord is near in the
valley of decision.
3:14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of the
LORD is near in the valley of decision.
3:15 해와 달이 캄캄하며 별들이 그 빛을 거두도다
3:15 The sun and the moon have become dark, and the stars keep back their shining.
3:15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw
their shining.
3:16 나 여호와가 시온에서 부르짖고 예루살렘에서 목소리를 발하리니 하늘과
땅이 진동되리로다 그러나 나 여호와는 내 백성의 피난처, 이스라엘 자손의 산성이 되리로다
3:16 And the Lord will be thundering from Zion, and his voice will be sounding from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth will be shaking: but the Lord will be a breastplate
for his people and a strong place for the children of Israel.
3:16 The LORD also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem;
and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but the LORD will be the hope of
his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.
3:17 그런즉 너희가 나는 내 성산 시온에 거하는 너희 하나님 여호와인 줄 알 것이라
예루살렘이 거룩하리니 다시는 이방 사람이 그 가운데로 통행하지 못하리로다
3:17 And you will be certain that I am the Lord your God, living in Zion, my holy mountain:
and Jerusalem will be holy, and no strange person will ever again go through her.
3:17 So shall all of you know that I am the LORD your God dwelling in Zion,
my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers
pass through her any more.
3:18 ○ 그 날에 산들이 단 포도주를 떨어뜨릴 것이며 작은 산들이 젖을 흘릴
것이며 유다 모든 시내가 물을 흘릴 것이며 여호와의 전에서 샘이 흘러 나와서 싯딤
골짜기에 대리라
3:18 And it will come about in that day that the mountains will be dropping sweet wine,
and the hills will be flowing with milk, and all the streams of Judah will be flowing
with water; and a fountain will come out from the house of the Lord, watering the
valley of acacia-trees.
3:18 And it shall come to pass in that day, that the mountains shall drop
down new wine, and the hills shall flow with milk, and all the rivers of Judah
shall flow with waters, and a fountain shall come forth out of the house of
the LORD, and shall water the valley of Shittim.
3:19 그러나 애굽은 황무지가 되겠고 에돔은 황무한 들이 되리니 이는 그들이
유다 자손에게 강포를 행하여 무죄한 피를 그 땅에서 흘렸음이니라
3:19 Egypt will be a waste and Edom a land of destruction, because of the evil done to
the children of Judah, because they have let blood be drained out in their land
without cause.
3:19 Egypt shall be a desolation, and Edom shall be a desolate wilderness,
for the violence against the children of Judah, because they have shed innocent
blood in their land.
3:20 유다는 영원히 있겠고 예루살렘은 대대로 있으리라
3:20 But Judah will be peopled for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
3:20 But Judah shall dwell for ever, and Jerusalem from generation to generation.
3:21 내가 전에는 그들의 피흘림 당한 것을 갚아 주지 아니하였거니와 이제는 갚아
주리니
이는 나 여호와가 시온에 거함이니라
3:21 And I will send punishment for their blood, for which punishment has not been sent,
for the Lord is living in Zion.
3:21 For I will cleanse their blood that I have not cleansed: for the LORD
dwells in Zion.
