28:1 아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 세라 예루살렘에서 십 육 년을 치리하였으나
그 조상 다윗과 같지 아니하여 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행치 아니하고
28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he became king, and he was ruling in Jerusalem for
sixteen years; he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord, like David
his father:
28:1 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen
years in Jerusalem: but he did not that which was right in the sight of the
LORD, like David his father:
28:2 이스라엘 열왕의 길로 행하여 바알들의 우상을 부어 만들고
28:2 But he went in the ways of the kings of Israel and made images of metal for the
Baals.
28:2 For he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel, and made also molten
images for Baalim.
28:3 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에서 분향하고 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신
이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아 그 자녀를 불사르고
28:3 More than this, he had offerings burned in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and
made his children go through fire, copying the disgusting ways of the nations whom
the Lord had sent out of the land before the children of Israel.
28:3 Moreover he burnt incense in the valley of the son of Hinnom, and burnt
his children in the fire, after the abominations of the heathen whom the LORD
had cast out before the children of Israel.
28:4 또 산당과 작은 산 위와 모든 푸른 나무 아래에서 제사를 드리며 분향한지라
28:4 And he made offerings and had perfumes burned in the high places and on the hills
and under every green tree.
28:4 He sacrificed also and burnt incense in the high places, and on the
hills, and under every green tree.
28:5 그러므로 그 하나님 여호와께서 아람 왕의 손에 붙이시매 저희가 쳐서 심히
많은 무리를 사로잡아 가지고 다메섹으로 갔으며 또 이스라엘 왕의 손에 붙이시매
저가 쳐서 크게 살육하였으니
28:5 So the Lord his God gave him up into the hands of the king of Aram; and they overcame
him, and took away a great number of his people as prisoners to Damascus. Then he
was given into the hands of the king of Israel, who sent great destruction on him.
28:5 Wherefore the LORD his God delivered him into the hand of the king of
Syria; and they stroke him, and carried away a great multitude of them captives,
and brought them to Damascus. And he was also delivered into the hand of the
king of Israel, who stroke him with a great slaughter.
28:6 이는 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 버렸음이라 르말랴의 아들 베가가 유다에서
하루 동안에 용사 십이만 명을 죽였으며
28:6 For Pekah, the son of Remaliah, in one day put to death a hundred and twenty thousand
men of Judah, all of them good fighting-men; because they had given up the Lord,
the God of their fathers.
28:6 For Pekah the son of Remaliah slew in Judah an hundred and twenty thousand
in one day, which were all valiant men; because they had forsaken the LORD God
of their fathers.
28:7 에브라임의 용사 시그리는 왕의 아들 마아세야와 궁내 대신 아스리감과 총리
대신 엘가나를 죽였더라
28:7 And Zichri, a great fighting-man of Ephraim, put to death Maaseiah, the king's son,
and Azrikam, the controller of his house, and Elkanah, who was second in authority
to the king.
28:7 And Zichri, a mighty man of Ephraim, slew Maaseiah the king's son, and
Azrikam the governor of the house, and Elkanah that was next to the king.
28:8 ○ 이스라엘 자손이 그 형제 중에서 그 아내와 자녀 합하여 이십만 명을 사로잡고
그 재물을 많이 노략하여 사마리아로 가져가니
28:8 And the children of Israel took away as prisoners from their brothers, two hundred
thousand, women and sons and daughters, and a great store of their goods, and took
them to Samaria.
28:8 And the children of Israel carried away captive of their brethren two
hundred thousand, women, sons, and daughters, and took also away much spoil
from them, and brought the spoil to Samaria.
28:9 그 곳에 여호와의 선지자가 있는데 이름은 오뎃이라 저가 사마리아로 돌아오는
군대를 영접하고 저희에게 이르되 너희 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 유다를 진노하신
고로 너희 손에 붙이셨거늘 너희 노기가 충천하여 살육하고
28:9 But a prophet of the Lord was there, named Oded; and he went out in front of the
army which was coming into Samaria and said to them, Truly, because the Lord, the
God of your fathers, was angry with Judah, he gave them up into your hands, and
you have put them to death in an outburst of wrath stretching up to heaven.
28:9 But a prophet of the LORD was there, whose name was Oded: and he went
out before the host that came to Samaria, and said unto them, Behold, because
the LORD God of your fathers was angry with Judah, he has delivered them into
your hand, and all of you have slain them in a rage that reachs up unto heaven.
28:10 이제 너희가 또 유다와 예루살렘 백성들을 압제하여 노예를 삼고자 생각하는도다
너희는 너희 하나님 여호와께 범죄함이 없느냐
28:10 And now your purpose is to keep the children of Judah and Jerusalem as men-servants
and women-servants under your yoke: but are there no sins against the Lord your
God to be seen among yourselves?
28:10 And now all of you purpose to keep under the children of Judah and
Jerusalem for bondmen and bondwomen unto you: but are there not with you, even
with you, sins against the LORD your God?
28:11 그런즉 너희는 내 말을 듣고 너희가 형제 중에서 사로잡아 온 포로를 놓아
돌아가게 하라 여호와의 진노가 너희에게 임박하였느니라 한지라
28:11 And now give ear to me, and send back the prisoners whom you have taken from your
brothers: for the wrath of the Lord is burning against you.
28:11 Now hear me therefore, and deliver the captives again, which all of
you have taken captive of your brethren: for the fierce wrath of the LORD is
upon you.
28:12 에브라임 자손의 두목 몇 사람 요하난의 아들 아사랴와 무실레못의 아들
베레갸와 살룸의 아들 여히스기야와 하들래의 아들 아마사가 일어나서 전장에서 돌아오는
자를 막으며
28:12 Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah, the son of Johanan,
Berechiah, the son of Meshillemoth Jehizkiah, the son of Shallum, and Amasa the
son of Hadlai, put themselves against those who had come from the war,
28:12 Then certain of the heads of the children of Ephraim, Azariah the son
of Johanan, Berechiah the son of Meshillemoth, and Jehizkiah the son of Shallum,
and Amasa the son of Hadlai, stood up against them that came from the war,
28:13 저희에게 이르되 너희는 이 포로를 이리로 끌어들이지 못하리라 너희의
경영하는 일이 우리로 여호와께 허물이 있게 함이니 우리의 죄와 허물을 더하게 함이로다
우리의 허물이 이미 커서 진노하심이 이스라엘에게 임박하였느니라 하매
28:13 And said to them, You are not to let these prisoners come here; for what you are
designing to do will be a cause of sin against the Lord to us, making even greater
our sin and our wrongdoing, which now are great enough, and his wrath is burning
against Israel.
28:13 And said unto them, All of you shall not bring in the captives here:
for whereas we have offended against the LORD already, all of you intend to
add more to our sins and to our trespass: for our trespass is great, and there
is fierce wrath against Israel.
28:14 이에 병기를 가진 사람이 포로와 노략한 물건을 방백들과 온 회중 앞에
둔지라
28:14 So the armed men gave up the prisoners and the goods they had taken to the heads
and the meeting of the people.
28:14 So the armed men left the captives and the spoil before the princes
and all the congregation.
28:15 이 위에 이름이 기록된 자들이 일어나서 포로를 맞고 노략하여 온 중에서
옷을 취하여 벗은 자에게 입히며 신을 신기며 먹이고 마시우며 기름을 바르고 그
약한 자는 나귀에 태워 데리고 종려나무 성 여리고에 이르러 그 형제에게 돌린 후에
사마리아로 돌아갔더라
28:15 And those men who have been named went up and took the prisoners, clothing those
among them who were uncovered, with things from the goods which had been taken in
the war, and putting robes on them and shoes on their feet; and they gave them food
and drink and oil for their bodies, and seating all the feeble among them on asses,
they took them to Jericho, the town of palm-trees, to their people, and then went
back to Samaria.
28:15 And the men which were expressed by name rose up, and took the captives,
and with the spoil clothed all that were naked among them, and arrayed them,
and shod them, and gave them to eat and to drink, and anointed them, and carried
all the feeble of them upon asses, and brought them to Jericho, the city of
palm trees, to their brethren: then they returned to Samaria.
28:16 ○ 그 때에 아하스 왕이 앗수르 왕에게 보내어 도와 주기를 구하였으니
28:16 At that time King Ahaz sent for help to the king of Assyria.
28:16 At that time did king Ahaz send unto the kings of Assyria to help him.
28:17 이는 에돔 사람이 다시 와서 유다를 치고 그 백성을 사로잡았음이며
28:17 For the Edomites had come again, attacking Judah and taking away prisoners.
28:17 For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away
captives.
28:18 블레셋 사람도 유다의 평지와 남방 성읍들을 침노하여 벧세메스와 아얄론과
그데롯과 소고와 그 동네와 딤나와 그 동네와 김소와 그 동네를 취하고 거기 거하였으니
28:18 And the Philistines, forcing their way into the towns of the lowlands and the south
of Judah, had taken Beth-shemesh and Aijalon and Gederoth and Soco, with their daughter-towns,
as well as Timnah and Gimzo and their daughter-towns, and were living there.
28:18 The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and
of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth,
and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof,
Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.
28:19 이는 이스라엘 왕 아하스가 유다에서 망령되이 행하여 여호와께 크게 범죄하였으므로
여호와께서 유다를 낮추심이라
28:19 For the Lord made Judah low, because of Ahaz, king of Israel; for he had given up
all self-control in Judah, sinning greatly against the Lord.
28:19 For the LORD brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Israel; for
he made Judah naked, and transgressed sore against the LORD.
28:20 앗수르 왕 디글랏 빌레셀이 이르렀으나 돕지 아니하고 도리어 군박하였더라
28:20 Then Tiglath-pileser, king of Assyria, came to him, but was a cause of trouble and
not of strength to him.
28:20 And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him,
but strengthened him not.
28:21 아하스가 여호와의 전과 왕궁과 방백들의 집에서 재물을 취하여 앗수르
왕에게 주었으나 유익이 없었더라
28:21 For Ahaz took a part of the wealth from the house of the Lord, and from the house
of the king and of the great men, and gave it to the king of Assyria; but it was
no help to him.
28:21 For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of the LORD, and out
of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria:
but he helped him not.
28:22 ○ 이 아하스 왕이 곤고할 때에 더욱 여호와께 범죄하여
28:22 And in the time of his trouble, this same King Ahaz did even more evil against the
Lord.
28:22 And in the time of his distress did he trespass yet more against the
LORD: this is that king Ahaz.
28:23 자기를 친 다메섹 신들에게 제사하여 가로되 아람 열왕의 신들이 저희를
도왔으니 나도 그 신에게 제사하여 나를 돕게 하리라 하였으나 그 신이 아하스와
온 이스라엘을 망케 하였더라
28:23 For he made offerings to the gods of Damascus, who were attacking him, and said,
Because the gods of the kings of Aram are giving them help, I will make offerings
to them so that they may give me help. But they were the cause of his downfall,
and of that of all Israel.
28:23 For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which stroke him: and
he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I
sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and
of all Israel.
28:24 아하스가 하나님의 전의 기구들을 모아 훼파하고 또 여호와의 전 문들을
닫고 예루살렘 구석마다 단을 쌓고
28:24 And Ahaz got together the vessels of the house of God, cutting up all the vessels
of the house of God, and shutting the doors of the Lord's house; and he made altars
in every part of Jerusalem.
28:24 And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut
in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house
of the LORD, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.
28:25 유다 각 성읍에 산당을 세워 다른 신에게 분향하여 그 열조의 하나님 여호와의
노를 격발케 하였더라
28:25 And in every town of Judah he made high places where perfumes were burned to other
gods, awaking the wrath of the Lord, the God of his fathers.
28:25 And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense
unto other gods, and provoked to anger the LORD God of his fathers.
28:26 아하스의 이 외의 시종 사적과 모든 행위는 유다와 이스라엘 열왕기에 기록되니라
28:26 Now the rest of his acts and all his ways, first and last, are recorded in the book
of the kings of Judah and Israel.
28:26 Now the rest of his acts and of all his ways, first and last, behold,
they are written in the book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
28:27 아하스가 그 열조와 함께 자매 이스라엘 열왕의 묘실에 들이지 아니하고
예루살렘 성에 장사하였더라 그 아들 히스기야가 대신하여 왕이 되니라
28:27 And Ahaz went to rest with his fathers, and they put his body into the earth in
Jerusalem; but they did not put him in the resting-place of the kings of Israel:
and Hezekiah his son became king in his place.
28:27 And Ahaz slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city, even
in Jerusalem: but they brought him not into the sepulchers of the kings of Israel:
and Hezekiah his son reigned in his position.
29:1 히스기야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오 세라 예루살렘에서 이십 구 년을
치리하니라 그 모친의 이름은 아비야라 스가랴의 딸이더라
29:1 Hezekiah became king when he was twenty-five years old; and he was king in Jerusalem
for twenty-nine years; and his mother's name was Abijah, the daughter of Zechariah.
29:1 Hezekiah began to reign when he was five and twenty years old, and he
reigned nine and twenty years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Abijah,
the daughter of Zechariah.
29:2 히스기야가 그 조상 다윗의 모든 행위와 같이 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여
29:2 He did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father David had done.
29:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, according
to all that David his father had done.
29:3 원년 정월에 여호와의 전 문들을 열고 수리하고
29:3 In the first year of his rule, in the first month, opening the doors of the Lord's
house, he made them strong.
29:3 He in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors
of the house of the LORD, and repaired them.
29:4 제사장들과 레위 사람들을 동편 광장에 모으고
29:4 And he sent for the priests and the Levites, and got them together in the wide place
on the east side,
29:4 And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together
into the east street,
29:5 저희에게 이르되 레위 사람들아 내 말을 들으라 이제 너희는 성결케 하고
또 너희 열조의 하나님 여호와의 전을 성결케 하여 그 더러운 것을 성소에서 없이하라
29:5 And said to them, Give ear to me, O Levites: now make yourselves holy, and make
holy the house of the Lord, the God of your fathers, and take away everything unclean
from the holy place.
29:5 And said unto them, Hear me, all of you Levites, sanctify now yourselves,
and sanctify the house of the LORD God of your fathers, and carry forth the
filthiness out of the holy place.
29:6 우리 열조가 범죄하여 우리 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 하나님을
버리고 얼굴을 돌이켜 여호와의 성소를 등지고
29:6 For our fathers have done evil, sinning in the eyes of the Lord our God, and have
given him up, turning away their faces from the house of the Lord, and turning their
backs on him.
29:6 For our fathers have trespassed, and done that which was evil in the
eyes of the LORD our God, and have forsaken him, and have turned away their
faces from the habitation of the LORD, and turned their backs.
29:7 또 낭실 문을 닫으며 등불을 끄고 성소에서 분향하지 아니하며 이스라엘
하나님께 번제를 드리지 아니한 고로
29:7 The doors of his house have been shut and the lights put out; no perfumes have been
burned or offerings made to the God of Israel in his holy place.
29:7 Also they have shut up the doors of the porch, and put out the lamps,
and have not burned incense nor offered burnt offerings in the holy place unto
the God of Israel.
29:8 여호와께서 유다와 예루살렘을 진노하시고 내어버리사 두려움과 놀람과
비웃음거리가 되게 하신 것을 너희가 목도하는 바라
29:8 And so the wrath of the Lord has come on Judah and Jerusalem, and he has given them
up to be a cause of fear and wonder and shame, as your eyes have seen.
29:8 Wherefore the wrath of the LORD was upon Judah and Jerusalem, and he
has delivered them to trouble, to astonishment, and to hissing, as all of you
see with your eyes.
29:9 이로 인하여 우리의 열조가 칼에 엎드러지며 우리의 자녀와 아내가 사로잡혔느니라
29:9 For see, our fathers have been put to death with the sword, and our sons and daughters
and wives have been taken away prisoners because of this.
29:9 For, lo, our fathers have fallen by the sword, and our sons and our
daughters and our wives are in captivity for this.
29:10 이제 이스라엘 하나님 여호와로 더불어 언약을 세워 그 맹렬한 노로 우리에게서
떠나게 할 마음이 내게 있노니
29:10 Now it is my purpose to make an agreement with the Lord, the God of Israel, so that
the heat of his wrath may be turned away from us.
29:10 Now it is in mine heart to make a covenant with the LORD God of Israel,
that his fierce wrath may turn away from us.
29:11 내 아들들아 이제는 게으르지 말라 여호와께서 이미 너희를 택하사 그 앞에
서서 수종들어 섬기며 분향하게 하셨느니라
29:11 My sons, take care now: for you have been marked out by the Lord to come before
him and to be his servants, burning offerings to him.
29:11 My sons, be not now negligent: for the LORD has chosen you to stand
before him, to serve him, and that all of you should minister unto him, and
burn incense.
29:12 ○ 이에 레위 사람들이 일어나니 곧 그핫의 자손 중 아마새의 아들 마핫과
아사랴의 아들 요엘과 므라리의 자손 중 압디의 아들 기스와 여할렐렐의 아들 아사랴와
게르손 사람 중 심마의 아들 요아와 요아의 아들 에덴과
29:12 Then the Levites took their places; Mahath, the son of Amasai, and Joel, the son
of Azariah, among the Kohathites; and of the sons of Merari, Kish, the son of Abdi,
and Azariah, the son of Jehallelel; and of the Gershonites, Joah, the son of Zimmah,
and Eden, the son of Joah;
29:12 Then the Levites arose, Mahath the son of Amasai, and Joel the son
of Azariah, of the sons of the Kohathites: and of the sons of Merari, Kish the
son of Abdi, and Azariah the son of Jehalelel: and of the Gershonites; Joah
the son of Zimmah, and Eden the son of Joah:
29:13 엘리사반의 자손 중 시므리와 여우엘과 아삽의 자손 중 스가랴와 맛다냐와
29:13 And of the sons of Elizaphan, Shimri and Jeuel; and of the sons of Asaph, Zechariah
and Mattaniah;
29:13 And of the sons of Elizaphan; Shimri, and Jeiel: and of the sons of
Asaph; Zechariah, and Mattaniah:
29:14 헤만의 자손 중 여후엘과 시므이와 여두둔의 자손 중 스마야와 웃시엘이라
29:14 And of the sons of Heman, Jehuel and Shimei; and of the sons of Jeduthun, Shemaiah
and Uzziel.
29:14 And of the sons of Heman; Jehiel, and Shimei: and of the sons of Jeduthun;
Shemaiah, and Uzziel.
29:15 저희가 그 형제를 모아 성결케 하고 들어가서 왕이 여호와의 말씀대로 명한
것을 좇아 여호와의 전을 깨끗케 할새
29:15 And they got their brothers together and made themselves holy, and went in, as the
king had said by the word of the Lord, to make the house of the Lord clean.
29:15 And they gathered their brethren, and sanctified themselves, and came,
according to the commandment of the king, by the words of the LORD, to cleanse
the house of the LORD.
29:16 제사장들도 여호와의 전 안에 들어가서 깨끗케 하여 여호와의 전에 있는
모든 더러운 것을 끌어내어 여호와의 전 뜰에 이르매 레위 사람들이 취하여 바깥
기드론 시내로 가져갔더라
29:16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the Lord to make it clean,
and everything unclean which was to be seen in the Temple of the Lord they took
out into the outer square of the Lord's house, and the Levites got it together and
took it away to the stream Kidron.
29:16 And the priests went into the inner part of the house of the LORD,
to cleanse it, and brought out all the uncleanness that they found in the temple
of the LORD into the court of the house of the LORD. And the Levites took it,
to carry it out abroad into the brook Kidron.
29:17 정월 초하루에 성결케 하기를 시작하여 그 달 초팔일에 여호와의 낭실에
이르고 또 팔 일 동안 여호와의 전을 성결케 하여 정월 십 육 일에 이르러 마치고
29:17 On the first day of the first month the work of making the house holy was started,
and on the eighth day they came to the covered way of the Lord; in eight days they
made the Lord's house holy, and on the sixteenth day of the first month the work
was done.
29:17 Now they began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and
on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of the LORD: so they sanctified
the house of the LORD in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month
they made an end.
29:18 안으로 들어가서 히스기야 왕을 보고 가로되 우리가 여호와의 온 전과 번제단과
그 모든 기구와 떡을 진설하는 상과 그 모든 기구를 깨끗케 하였고
29:18 Then they went in to King Hezekiah and said, We have made all the house of the Lord
clean, as well as the altar of burned offerings with all its vessels, and the table
for the holy bread, with all its vessels.
29:18 Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed
all the house of the LORD, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels
thereof, and the showbread table, with all the vessels thereof.
29:19 또 아하스 왕이 위에 있어 범죄할 때에 버린 모든 기구도 우리가 정돈하고
성결케 하여 여호와의 단 앞에 두었나이다 하니라
29:19 And all the vessels which were turned out by King Ahaz in his sin while he was king,
we have put in order and made holy, and now they are in their places before the
altar of the Lord.
29:19 Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away
in his transgression, have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are
before the altar of the LORD.
29:20 ○ 히스기야 왕이 일찌기 일어나 성읍의 귀인들을 모아 여호와의 전에 올라가서
29:20 Then Hezekiah the king got up early, and got together the great men of the town,
and went up to the house of the Lord.
29:20 Then Hezekiah the king rose early, and gathered the rulers of the city,
and went up to the house of the LORD.
29:21 수송아지 일곱과 수양 일곱과 어린 양 일곱과 수염소 일곱을 끌어다가 나라와
성소와 유다를 위하여 속죄 제물을 삼고 아론의 자손 제사장들을 명하여 여호와의
단에 드리게 하니
29:21 And they took with them seven oxen and seven male sheep and seven lambs and seven
he-goats as a sin-offering for the kingdom and for the holy house and for Judah.
And he gave orders to the sons of Aaron, the priests, that these were to be offered
on the altar of the Lord.
29:21 And they brought seven bullocks, and seven rams, and seven lambs, and
seven he goats, for a sin offering for the kingdom, and for the sanctuary, and
for Judah. And he commanded the priests the sons of Aaron to offer them on the
altar of the LORD.
29:22 이에 수소를 잡으매 제사장이 그 피를 받아 단에 뿌리고 또 수양을 잡으매
그 피를 단에 뿌리고 또 어린 양을 잡으매 그 피를 단에 뿌리고
29:22 So they put the oxen to death and their blood was given to the priests to be drained
out against the altar; then they put the male sheep to death, draining out their
blood against the altar, and they put the lambs to death, draining out their blood
against the altar.
29:22 So they killed the bullocks, and the priests received the blood, and
sprinkled it on the altar: likewise, when they had killed the rams, they sprinkled
the blood upon the altar: they killed also the lambs, and they sprinkled the
blood upon the altar.
29:23 이에 속죄 제물로 드릴 수염소를 왕과 회중의 앞으로 끌어오매 저희가
그 위에 안수하고
29:23 Then they took the he-goats for the sin-offering, placing them before the king and
the meeting of the people, and they put their hands on them:
29:23 And they brought forth the he goats for the sin offering before the
king and the congregation; and they laid their hands upon them:
29:24 제사장이 잡아 그 피로 속죄제를 삼아 단에 드려 온 이스라엘을 위하여
속죄하니 이는 왕이 명하여 온 이스라엘을 위하여 번제와 속죄제를 드리게 하였음이더라
29:24 And the priests put them to death, and made a sin-offering with their blood on the
altar, to take away the sin of all Israel: for the king gave orders that the burned
offering and the sin-offering were for all Israel.
29:24 And the priests killed them, and they made reconciliation with their
blood upon the altar, to make an atonement for all Israel: for the king commanded
that the burnt offering and the sin offering should be made for all Israel.
29:25 ○ 왕이 레위 사람을 여호와의 전에 두어서 다윗과 왕의 선견자 갓과 선지자
나단의 명한 대로 제금과 비파와 수금을 잡게 하니 이는 여호와께서 그 선지자들로
이렇게 명하셨음이라
29:25 Then he put the Levites in their places in the house of the Lord, with brass and
corded instruments of music as ordered by David and Gad, the king's seer, and Nathan
the prophet: for the order was the Lord's, given by his prophets.
29:25 And he set the Levites in the house of the LORD with cymbals, with
psalteries, and with harps, according to the commandment of David, and of Gad
the king's seer, and Nathan the prophet: for so was the commandment of the LORD
by his prophets.
29:26 레위 사람은 다윗의 악기를 잡고 제사장은 나팔을 잡고 서매
29:26 So the Levites took their places with David's instruments, and the priests with
their horns.
29:26 And the Levites stood with the instruments of David, and the priests
with the trumpets.
29:27 히스기야가 명하여 번제를 단에 드릴새 번제 드리기를 시작하는 동시에
여호와의 시로 노래하고 나팔을 불며 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 악기를 울리고
29:27 And Hezekiah gave the word for the burned offering to be offered on the altar. And
when the burned offering was started, then the song of the Lord was started, with
the blowing of horns and with all the instruments of David, king of Israel.
29:27 And Hezekiah commanded to offer the burnt offering upon the altar.
And when the burnt offering began, the song of the LORD began also with the
trumpets, and with the instruments ordained by David king of Israel.
29:28 온 회중이 경배하며 노래하는 자들은 노래하고 나팔 부는 자들은 나팔을
불어 번제를 마치기까지 이르니라
29:28 And all the people gave worship, to the sound of songs and the blowing of horns;
and this went on till the burned offering was ended.
29:28 And all the congregation worshipped, and the singers sang, and the
trumpeters sounded: and all this continued until the burnt offering was finished.
29:29 ○ 제사 드리기를 마치매 왕과 그 함께 있는 자가 다 엎드려 경배하니라
29:29 And at the end of the offering, the king and all who were present with him gave
worship with bent heads.
29:29 And when they had made an end of offering, the king and all that were
present with him bowed themselves, and worshipped.
29:30 히스기야 왕이 귀인들로 더불어 레위 사람을 명하여 다윗과 선견자 아삽의
시로 여호와를 찬송하게 하매 저희가 즐거움으로 찬송하고 몸을 굽혀 경배하니라
29:30 Then King Hezekiah and the captains gave orders to the Levites to give praise to
God in the words of David and Asaph the seer. And they made songs of praise with
joy, and with bent heads gave worship.
29:30 Moreover Hezekiah the king and the princes commanded the Levites to
sing praise unto the LORD with the words of David, and of Asaph the seer. And
they sang praises with gladness, and they bowed their heads and worshipped.
29:31 ○ 이에 히스기야가 일러 가로되 너희가 이제 몸을 깨끗케 하여 여호와께
드렸으니 마땅히 나아와 제물과 감사 제물을 여호와의 전으로 가져오라 회중이 드디어
제물과 감사 제물을 가져오되 무릇 마음에 원하는 자는 또한 번제물을 가져오니
29:31 Then Hezekiah made answer and said, Now that you have given yourselves to the Lord,
come near and take offerings and praise-offerings into the house of the Lord. So
all the people took in offerings and praise-offerings: and those whose hearts were
moved, took in burned offerings.
29:31 Then Hezekiah answered and said, Now all of you have consecrated yourselves
unto the LORD, come near and bring sacrifices and thank offerings into the house
of the LORD. And the congregation brought in sacrifices and thank offerings;
and as many as were of a free heart burnt offerings.
29:32 회중의 가져온 번제물의 수효는 수소가 칠십이요 수양이 일백이요 어린
양이 이백이니 이는 다 여호와께 번제물로 드리는 것이며
29:32 The number of burned offerings which the people took in was seventy oxen, a hundred
male sheep, and two hundred lambs: all these were for burned offerings to the Lord.
29:32 And the number of the burnt offerings, which the congregation brought,
was threescore and ten bullocks, an hundred rams, and two hundred lambs: all
these were for a burnt offering to the LORD.
29:33 또 구별하여 드린 소가 육백이요 양이 삼천이라
29:33 And the holy things were six hundred oxen and three thousand sheep.
29:33 And the consecrated things were six hundred oxen and three thousand
sheep.
29:34 그런데 제사장이 부족하여 그 모든 번제 짐승의 가죽을 능히 벗기지 못하는
고로 그 형제 레위 사람이 그 일을 마치기까지 돕고 다른 제사장의 성결케 하기까지 기다렸으니
이는 레위 사람의 성결케 함이 제사장들보다 성심이 있었음이라
29:34 There were not enough priests for the work of cutting up all the burned offerings;
so their brothers the Levites gave them help till the work was done and the priests
had made themselves holy: for the Levites were more upright in heart to make themselves
holy than the priests.
29:34 But the priests were too few, so that they could not flay all the burnt
offerings: wherefore their brethren the Levites did help them, till the work
was ended, and until the other priests had sanctified themselves: for the Levites
were more upright in heart to sanctify themselves than the priests.
29:35 번제와 화목제의 기름과 각 번제에 속한 전제가 많더라 이와 같이 여호와의
전에서 섬기는 일이 순서대로 갖추어지니라
29:35 And there was a great amount of burned offerings, with the fat of the peace-offerings
and the drink offerings for every burned offering. So the work of the Lord's house
was put in order.
29:35 And also the burnt offerings were in abundance, with the fat of the
peace offerings, and the drink offerings for every burnt offering. So the service
of the house of the LORD was set in order.
29:36 이 일이 갑자기 되었을지라도 하나님이 백성을 위하여 예비하셨음을 인하여
히스기야가 백성으로 더불어 기뻐하였더라
29:36 And Hezekiah and all the people were full of joy, because God had made the people
ready: for the thing was done suddenly.
29:36 And Hezekiah rejoiced, and all the people, that God had prepared the
people: for the thing was done suddenly.
30:1 히스기야가 온 이스라엘과 유다에 보내고 또 에브라임과 므낫세에 편지를
보내어 예루살렘 여호와의 전에 와서 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 위하여 유월절을
지키라 하니라
30:1 Then Hezekiah sent word to all Israel and Judah, and sent letters to Ephraim and
Manasseh, requesting them to come to the house of the Lord at Jerusalem, to keep
the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel.
30:1 And Hezekiah sent to all Israel and Judah, and wrote letters also to
Ephraim and Manasseh, that they should come to the house of the LORD at Jerusalem,
to keep the passover unto the LORD God of Israel.
30:2 왕이 방백들과 예루살렘 온 회중으로 더불어 의논하고 이 월에 유월절을 지키려
하였으니
30:2 For the king, after discussion with his chiefs and all the body of the people in
Jerusalem, had made a decision to keep the Passover in the second month.
30:2 For the king had taken counsel, and his princes, and all the congregation
in Jerusalem, to keep the passover in the second month.
30:3 이는 성결케 한 제사장이 부족하고 백성도 예루살렘에 모이지 못한 고로
그 정한 때에 지킬 수 없었음이라
30:3 It was not possible to keep it at that time, because not enough priests had made
themselves holy, and the people had not come together in Jerusalem.
30:3 For they could not keep it at that time, because the priests had not
sanctified themselves sufficiently, neither had the people gathered themselves
together to Jerusalem.
30:4 왕과 온 회중이 이 일을 선히 여기고
30:4 And the thing was right in the eyes of the king and all the people.
30:4 And the thing pleased the king and all the congregation.
30:5 드디어 명을 발하여 브엘세바에서부터 단까지 온 이스라엘에 반포하여 일제히
예루살렘으로 와서 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 유월절을 지키라 하니 이는 기록한
규례대로 오래동안 지키지 못하였음이더라
30:5 So it was ordered that word was to be sent out through all Israel, from Beer-sheba
to Dan, that they were to come to keep the Passover to the Lord, the God of Israel,
at Jerusalem: because they had not kept it in great numbers in agreement with the
law.
30:5 So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel,
from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto
the LORD God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time
in such sort as it was written.
30:6 보발군들이 왕과 방백들의 편지를 받아 가지고 왕의 명을 좇아 온 이스라엘과
유다에 두루 다니며 전하니 일렀으되 이스라엘 자손들아 너희는 아브라함과 이삭과
이스라엘의 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오라 그리하면 저가 너희 남은 자 곧 앗수르 왕의
손에서 벗어난 자에게로 돌아오시리라
30:6 So runners went with letters from the king and his chiefs through all Israel and
Judah, by the order of the king, saying, O children of Israel, come back again to
the Lord, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, so that he may come again to that
small band of you which has been kept safe out of the hands of the kings of Assyria.
30:6 So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout
all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying,
All of you children of Israel, return unto the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac, and
Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the
hand of the kings of Assyria.
30:7 너희 열조와 너희 형제 같이 하지 말라 저희가 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께
범죄한 고로 여호와께서 멸망에 붙이신 것을 너희가 목도하는 바니라
30:7 Do not be like your fathers and your brothers, who were sinners against the Lord,
the God of their fathers, so that he made them a cause of fear, as you see.
30:7 And be not all of you like your fathers, and like your brethren, which
trespassed against the LORD God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up
to desolation, as all of you see.
30:8 그런즉 너희 열조 같이 목을 곧게 하지 말고 여호와께 귀순하여 영원히 거룩케
하신 전에 들어가서 너희 하나님 여호와를 섬겨 그 진노가 너희에게서 떠나게 하라
30:8 Now do not be hard-hearted, as your fathers were; but give yourselves to the Lord,
and come into his holy place, which he has made his for ever, and be the servants
of the Lord your God, so that the heat of his wrath may be turned away from you.
30:8 Now be all of you not stubborn, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves
unto the LORD, and enter into his sanctuary, which he has sanctified for ever:
and serve the LORD your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away
from you.
30:9 너희가 만일 여호와께 돌아오면 너희 형제와 너희 자녀가 사로잡은 자에게서
자비를 입어 다시 이 땅으로 돌아오리라 너희 하나님 여호와는 은혜로우시고 자비하신지라
너희가 그에게로 돌아오면 그 얼굴을 너희에게서 돌이키지 아니하시리라 하였더라
30:9 For if you come back to the Lord, those who took away your brothers and your children
will have pity on them, and let them come back to this land: for the Lord your God
is full of grace and mercy, and his face will not be turned away from you if you
come back to him.
30:9 For if all of you return unto the LORD, your brethren and your children
shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall
come again into this land: for the LORD your God is gracious and merciful, and
will not turn away his face from you, if all of you return unto him.
30:10 ○ 보발군이 에브라임과 므낫세 지방 각 성에 두루 다녀 스불론까지 이르렀으나
사람들이 저희를 조롱하며 비웃었더라
30:10 So the runners went from town to town through all the country of Ephraim and Manasseh
as far as Zebulun: but they were laughed at and made sport of.
30:10 So the posts passed from city to city through the country of Ephraim
and Manasseh even unto Zebulun: but they laughed them to scorn, and mocked them.
30:11 그러나 아셀과 므낫세와 스불론 중에서 몇 사람이 스스로 겸비하여 예루살렘에
이르렀고
30:11 However, some of Asher and Manasseh and Zebulun put away their pride and came to
Jerusalem.
30:11 Nevertheless divers of Asher and Manasseh and of Zebulun humbled themselves,
and came to Jerusalem.
30:12 하나님이 또한 유다 사람들을 감동시키사 저희로 왕과 방백들이 여호와의
말씀대로 전한 명령을 일심으로 준행하게 하셨더라
30:12 And in Judah the power of God gave them one heart to do the orders of the king and
the captains, which were taken as the word of the Lord.
30:12 Also in Judah the hand of God was to give them one heart to do the
commandment of the king and of the princes, by the word of the LORD.
30:13 ○ 이 월에 백성이 무교절을 지키려 하여 예루살렘에 많이 모이니 심히 큰
회라
30:13 So a very great number of people came together at Jerusalem to keep the feast of
unleavened bread in the second month.
30:13 And there assembled at Jerusalem much people to keep the feast of unleavened
bread in the second month, a very great congregation.
30:14 무리가 일어나 예루살렘에 있는 제단과 향단들을 모두 제하여 기드론 시내에
던지고
30:14 And they got to work and took away all the altars in Jerusalem, and they put all
the vessels for burning perfumes into the stream Kidron.
30:14 And they arose and took away the altars that were in Jerusalem, and
all the altars for incense took they away, and cast them into the brook Kidron.
30:15 이 월 십 사 일에 유월절 양을 잡으니 제사장과 레위 사람이 부끄러워하여
성결케 하고 번제물을 가지고 여호와의 전에 이르러
30:15 Then on the fourteenth day of the second month they put the Passover lambs to death:
and the priests and the Levites were shamed, and made themselves holy and took burned
offerings into the house of the Lord.
30:15 Then they killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the second month:
and the priests and the Levites were ashamed, and sanctified themselves, and
brought in the burnt offerings into the house of the LORD.
30:16 규례대로 각각 자기 처소에 서고 하나님의 사람 모세의 율법을 좇아 제사장이
레위 사람의 손에서 피를 받아 뿌리니라
30:16 And they took their places in their right order, as it was ordered in the law of
Moses, the man of God: the priests draining out on the altar the blood given them
by the Levites.
30:16 And they stood in their place after their manner, according to the
law of Moses the man of God: the priests sprinkled the blood, which they received
of the hand of the Levites.
30:17 회중에 많은 사람이 성결케 하지 못한 고로 레위 사람들이 모든 부정한
사람을 위하여 유월절 양을 잡아 저희로 여호와 앞에서 성결케 하였으나
30:17 For there were still a number of the people there who had not made themselves holy:
so the Levites had to put Passover lambs to death for those who were not clean,
to make them holy to the Lord.
30:17 For there were many in the congregation that were not sanctified: therefore
the Levites had the charge of the killing of the passovers for every one that
was not clean, to sanctify them unto the LORD.
30:18 에브라임과 므낫세와 잇사갈과 스불론의 많은 무리는 자기를 깨끗케 하지
아니하고 유월절 양을 먹어 기록한 규례에 어긴지라 히스기야가 위하여 기도하여
가로되 선하신 여호와여 사하옵소서
30:18 For a great number of the people from Ephraim and Manasseh, Issachar and Zebulun,
had not made themselves clean, but they took the Passover meal, though not in the
right way. For Hezekiah had made prayer for them, saying, May the good Lord have
mercy on everyone
30:18 For a multitude of the people, even many of Ephraim, and Manasseh,
Issachar, and Zebulun, had not cleansed themselves, yet did they eat the passover
otherwise than it was written. But Hezekiah prayed for them, saying, The good
LORD pardon every one
30:19 결심하고 하나님 곧 그 열조의 하나님 여호와를 구하는 아무 사람이든지
비록 성소의 결례대로 스스로 깨끗케 못하였을지라도 사하옵소서 하였더니
30:19 Who, with all his heart, is turned to God the Lord, the God of his fathers, even
if he has not been made clean after the rules of the holy place.
30:19 That prepares his heart to seek God, the LORD God of his fathers, though
he be not cleansed according to the purification of the sanctuary.
30:20 여호와께서 히스기야의 기도를 들으시고 백성을 고치셨더라
30:20 And the Lord gave ear to Hezekiah, and made the people well.
30:20 And the LORD hearkened to Hezekiah, and healed the people.
30:21 예루살렘에 모인 이스라엘 자손이 크게 즐거워하며 칠 일 동안 무교절을
지켰고 레위 사람들과 제사장들은 날마다 여호와를 칭송하며 큰 소리 나는 악기를 울려 여호와를 찬양하였으며
30:21 So the children of Israel who were present in Jerusalem kept the feast of unleavened
bread for seven days with great joy: and the Levites and the priests gave praise
to the Lord day by day, making melody to the Lord with loud instruments.
30:21 And the children of Israel that were present at Jerusalem kept the
feast of unleavened bread seven days with great gladness: and the Levites and
the priests praised the LORD day by day, singing with loud instruments unto
the LORD.
30:22 히스기야는 여호와를 섬기는 일에 통달한 모든 레위 사람에게 위로하였더라
이와 같이 절기 칠 일 동안에 무리가 먹으며 화목제를 드리고 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께
감사하였더라
30:22 And Hezekiah said kind words to the Levites who were expert in the ordering of the
worship of the Lord: so they kept the feast for seven days, offering peace-offerings
and praising the Lord, the God of their fathers.
30:22 And Hezekiah spoke comfortably unto all the Levites that taught the
good knowledge of the LORD: and they did eat throughout the feast seven days,
offering peace offerings, and making confession to the LORD God of their fathers.
30:23 ○ 온 회가 다시 칠 일을 지키기로 결의하고 이에 또 칠 일을 즐거이 지켰더라
30:23 And by the desire of all the people, the feast went on for another seven days, and
they kept the seven days with joy.
30:23 And the whole assembly took counsel to keep other seven days: and they
kept other seven days with gladness.
30:24 유다 왕 히스기야가 수송아지 일천과 양 칠천을 회중에게 주었고 방백들은
수송아지 일천과 양 일만을 회중에게 주었으며 성결케 한 제사장도 많았는지라
30:24 For Hezekiah, king of Judah, gave to the people for offerings, a thousand oxen and
seven thousand sheep; and the rulers gave a thousand oxen and ten thousand sheep;
and a great number of priests made themselves holy.
30:24 For Hezekiah king of Judah did give to the congregation a thousand
bullocks and seven thousand sheep; and the princes gave to the congregation
a thousand bullocks and ten thousand sheep: and a great number of priests sanctified
themselves.
30:25 유다 온 회중과 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 이스라엘에서 온 온 회중과 이스라엘
땅에서 나온 나그네와 유다에 거한 나그네가 다 즐거워하였으므로
30:25 And all the people of Judah, with the priests and the Levites, and those who had
come from Israel, and men from other lands who had come from Israel or who were
living in Judah, were glad with great joy.
30:25 And all the congregation of Judah, with the priests and the Levites,
and all the congregation that came out of Israel, and the strangers that came
out of the land of Israel, and that dwelt in Judah, rejoiced.
30:26 예루살렘에 큰 희락이 있었으니 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 아들 솔로몬 때로부터
이러한 희락이 예루살렘에 없었더라
30:26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for nothing like this had been seen in Jerusalem
from the time of Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel.
30:26 So there was great joy in Jerusalem: for since the time of Solomon
the son of David king of Israel there was not the like in Jerusalem.
30:27 그 때에 제사장들과 레위 사람들이 일어나서 백성을 위하여 축복하였으니
그 소리가 들으신 바 되고 그 기도가 여호와의 거룩한 처소 하늘에 상달하였더라
30:27 Then the priests and the Levites gave the people a blessing: and the voice of their
prayer went up to the holy place of God in heaven.
30:27 Then the priests the Levites arose and blessed the people: and their
voice was heard, and their prayer came up to his holy dwelling place, even unto
heaven.
31:1 이 모든 일이 마치매 거기 있는 이스라엘 무리가 나가서 유다 여러 성읍에
이르러 주상을 깨뜨리며 아세라 목상을 찍으며 유다와 베냐민과 에브라임과 므낫세
온 땅에서 산당과 단을 제하여 멸하고 이스라엘 모든 자손이 각각 그 본성 기업으로
돌아갔더라
31:1 Now when all this was over, all the men of Israel who were present went out into
the towns of Judah, causing the stone pillars to be broken up and the wood pillars
to be cut down, pulling down the high places and the altars in all Judah and Benjamin,
as well as in Ephraim and Manasseh, till all were gone. Then all the children of
Israel went back to their towns, every man to his property.
31:1 Now when all this was finished, all Israel that were present went out
to the cities of Judah, and brake the images in pieces, and cut down the groves,
and threw down the high places and the altars out of all Judah and Benjamin,
in Ephraim also and Manasseh, until they had utterly destroyed them all. Then
all the children of Israel returned, every man to his possession, into their
own cities.
31:2 ○ 히스기야가 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 반차를 정하고 각각 그 직임을
행하게 하되 곧 제사장들과 레위 사람들로 번제와 화목제를 드리며 여호와의 영문에서
섬기며 감사하며 찬송하게 하고
31:2 Then Hezekiah put in order the divisions of the priests and Levites, every man in
his division, in relation to his work, for the burned offerings and peace-offerings,
and for the ordering of worship and for giving praise at the doors of the Lord's
house.
31:2 And Hezekiah appointed the courses of the priests and the Levites after
their courses, every man according to his service, the priests and Levites for
burnt offerings and for peace offerings, to minister, and to give thanks, and
to praise in the gates of the tents of the LORD.
31:3 또 자기 재산 중에서 얼마를 정하여 여호와의 율법에 기록된 대로 번제 곧
조석 번제와 안식일과 초하루와 절기의 번제에 쓰게 하고
31:3 And he gave the king's part of his private property for the burned offerings, that
is, for the morning and evening offerings, and the offerings for the Sabbath and
the new moons and the regular feasts, as it is recorded in the law of the Lord.
31:3 He appointed also the king's portion of his substance for the burnt
offerings, to know, for the morning and evening burnt offerings, and the burnt
offerings for the sabbaths, and for the new moons, and for the set feasts, as
it is written in the law of the LORD.
31:4 또 예루살렘에 거한 백성을 명하여 제사장들과 레위 사람들의 응식을 주어
저희로 여호와의 율법을 힘쓰게 하라 한지라
31:4 In addition, he gave orders to the people of Jerusalem to give to the priests and
Levites that part which was theirs by right, so that they might be strong in keeping
the law of the Lord.
31:4 Moreover he commanded the people that dwelt in Jerusalem to give the
portion of the priests and the Levites, that they might be encouraged in the
law of the LORD.
31:5 왕의 명령이 내리자 곧 이스라엘 자손이 곡식과 포도주와 기름과 꿀과 밭의
모든 소산의 처음 것을 풍성히 드렸고 또 모든 것의 십일조를 많이 가져왔으며
31:5 And when the order was made public, straight away the children of Israel gave, in
great amounts, the first-fruits of their grain and wine and oil and honey, and of
the produce of their fields; and they took in a tenth part of everything, a great
store.
31:5 And as soon as the commandment came abroad, the children of Israel brought
in abundance the first-fruits of corn, wine, and oil, and honey, and of all
the increase of the field; and the tithe of all things brought they in abundantly.
31:6 유다 여러 성읍에 거한 이스라엘과 유다 자손도 소와 양의 십일조를 가져왔고 또 그 하나님 여호와께 구별하여 드릴 성물의 십일조를 가져왔으며 그것을
쌓아 더미를 이루었는데
31:6 And the children of Israel and Judah, who were living in the towns of Judah came
with the tenth part of their oxen and sheep, and a tenth of all the holy things
which were to be given to the Lord their God, and put them in great masses.
31:6 And concerning the children of Israel and Judah, that dwelt in the cities
of Judah, they also brought in the tithe of oxen and sheep, and the tithe of
holy things which were consecrated unto the LORD their God, and laid them by
heaps.
31:7 삼 월에 쌓기를 시작하여 칠 월에 마친지라
31:7 The first store of things was put down in the third month, and in the seventh month
the masses were complete.
31:7 In the third month they began to lay the foundation of the heaps, and
finished them in the seventh month.
31:8 히스기야와 방백들이 와서 더미를 보고 여호와를 송축하고 그 백성 이스라엘을
위하여 축복하니라
31:8 And when Hezekiah and the rulers came and saw all the store of goods, they gave
praise to the Lord and to his people Israel.
31:8 And when Hezekiah and the princes came and saw the heaps, they blessed
the LORD, and his people Israel.
31:9 히스기야가 그 더미에 대하여 제사장들과 레위 사람들에게 물으니
31:9 Then Hezekiah put questions to the priests and Levites about the store of goods.
31:9 Then Hezekiah questioned with the priests and the Levites concerning
the heaps.
31:10 사독의 족속 대제사장 아사랴가 대답하여 가로되 백성이 예물을 여호와의
전에 드리기 시작함으로부터 우리가 족하게 먹었으나 남은 것이 많으니 이는 여호와께서
그 백성에게 복을 주셨음이라 그 남은 것이 이렇게 많이 쌓였나이다
31:10 And Azariah, the chief priest, of the family of Zadok, said in answer, From the
time when the people first came with their offerings into the house of the Lord,
we have had food enough, and more than enough: for the blessing of the Lord is on
his people; and there is this great store which has not been used.
31:10 And Azariah the chief priest of the house of Zadok answered him, and
said, Since the people began to bring the offerings into the house of the LORD,
we have had enough to eat, and have left plenty: for the LORD has blessed his
people; and that which is left is this great store.
31:11 ○ 그 때에 히스기야가 명하여 여호와의 전 안에 방을 예비하라 한 고로
드디어 예비하고
31:11 Then Hezekiah said that store-rooms were to be made ready in the house of the Lord;
and this was done.
31:11 Then Hezekiah commanded to prepare chambers in the house of the LORD;
and they prepared them,
31:12 성심으로 그 예물과 십일조와 구별한 물건을 갖다 두고 레위 사람 고나냐는
그 일을 주관하고 그 아우 시므이는 버금이 되며
31:12 And in them they put all the offerings and the tenths and the holy things, keeping
nothing back, and over them was Conaniah the Levite, with Shimei his brother second
to him.
31:12 And brought in the offerings and the tithes and the dedicated things
faithfully: over which Cononiah the Levite was ruler, and Shimei his brother
was the next.
31:13 여히엘과 아사시야와 나핫과 아사헬과 여리못과 요사밧과 엘리엘과 이스마갸와
마핫과 브나야는 고나냐와 그 아우 시므이의 수하에서 보살피는 자가 되니 이는 히스기야
왕과 하나님의 전을 관리하는 아사랴의 명한 바며
31:13 And Jehiel and Azaziah and Nahath and Asahel and Jerimoth and Jozabad and Eliel
and Ismachiah and Mahath and Benaiah were overseers, under the directions of Conaniah
and Shimei his brother, by the order of Hezekiah the king and Azariah, the ruler
of the house of God.
31:13 And Jehiel, and Azaziah, and Nahath, and Asahel, and Jerimoth, and
Jozabad, and Eliel, and Ismachiah, and Mahath, and Benaiah, were overseers under
the hand of Cononiah and Shimei his brother, at the commandment of Hezekiah
the king, and Azariah the ruler of the house of God.
31:14 동문지기 레위 사람 임나의 아들 고레는 즐거이 하나님께 드리는 예물을
맡아 여호와께 드리는 것과 모든 지성물을 나눠 주며
31:14 And Kore, the son of Imnah the Levite, the keeper of the east door, had control
of the offerings freely given to God, and the distribution of the offerings of the
Lord and the most holy things.
31:14 And Kore the son of Imnah the Levite, the gate keeper toward the east,
was over the freewill offerings of God, to distribute the oblations of the LORD,
and the most holy things.
31:15 그 수하의 에덴과 미냐민과 예수아와 스마야와 아마랴와 스가냐는 제사장의
성읍들에 있어서 직임을 맡아 그 형제에게 반차대로 무론 대소하고 나눠 주되
31:15 And under him were Eden and Miniamin and Jeshua and Shemaiah and Amariah and Shecaniah,
in the towns of the priests, who were made responsible for giving it to all their
brothers, by divisions, to small and great:
31:15 And next him were Eden, and Miniamin, and Jeshua, and Shemaiah, Amariah,
and Shecaniah, in the cities of the priests, in their set office, to give to
their brethren by courses, as well to the great as to the small:
31:16 삼 세 이상으로 족보에 기록된 남자 외에 날마다 여호와의 전에 들어가서
그 반차대로 직임에 수종드는 자들에게 다 나눠 주며
31:16 As well as to all the males, of three years old and over, listed by their families,
who went into the house of the Lord to do what was needed day by day, for their
special work with their divisions.
31:16 Beside their genealogy of males, from three years old and upward, even
unto every one that enters into the house of the LORD, his daily portion for
their service in their charges according to their courses;
31:17 또 그 족속대로 족보에 기록된 제사장들에게 나눠 주며 이십 세 이상부터
그 반차대로 직임을 맡은 레위 사람들에게 나눠 주며
31:17 And the families of the priests were listed by their fathers' names, but the Levites,
of twenty years old and over, were listed in relation to their work in their divisions;
31:17 Both to the genealogy of the priests by the house of their fathers,
and the Levites from twenty years old and upward, in their charges by their
courses;
31:18 또 그 족보에 기록된 온 회중의 어린 아이와 아내와 자녀들에게 나눠 주었으니
이 회중은 성결하고 충실히 그 직분을 다하는 자며
31:18 And in the lists were all their little ones and their wives and their sons and daughters,
through all the people: they made themselves holy in the positions which they were
given.
31:18 And to the genealogy of all their little ones, their wives, and their
sons, and their daughters, through all the congregation: for in their set office
they sanctified themselves in holiness:
31:19 각 성읍에서 녹명된 사람이 있어 성읍 가까운 들에 거한 아론 자손 제사장들에게도
나눠 주되 제사장들의 모든 남자와 족보에 기록된 레위 사람들에게 나눠 주었더라
31:19 And as for the sons of Aaron, the priests, living in the country on the outskirts
of their towns, every different town there were men, marked out by name, to give
their part of the goods to all the males among the priests, and to all who were
listed among the Levites.
31:19 Also of the sons of Aaron the priests, which were in the fields of
the suburbs of their cities, in every several city, the men that were expressed
by name, to give portions to all the males among the priests, and to all that
were reckoned by genealogies among the Levites.
31:20 ○ 히스기야가 온 유다에 이같이 행하되 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 선과
정의와 진실함으로 행하였으니
31:20 This Hezekiah did through all Judah; he did what was good and right and true before
the Lord his God.
31:20 And thus did Hezekiah throughout all Judah, and wrought that which
was good and right and truth before the LORD his God.
31:21 무릇 그 행하는 모든 일 곧 하나님의 전에 수종드는 일에나 율법에나 계명에나
그 하나님을 구하고 일심으로 행하여 형통하였더라
31:21 And for everything he undertook, in connection with the work of the house of God
and his law and orders, he got directions from God and did it with serious purpose;
and things went well for him.
31:21 And in every work that he began in the service of the house of God,
and in the law, and in the commandments, to seek his God, he did it with all
his heart, and prospered.
32:1 이 모든 충성된 일 후에 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 유다에 들어와서 견고한 성읍들을
향하여 진을 치고 쳐서 취하고자 한지라
32:1 Now after these things and this true-hearted work, Sennacherib, king of Assyria,
came into Judah, and put his army in position before the walled towns of Judah,
designing to make his way into them by force.
32:1 After these things, and the establishment thereof, Sennacherib king
of Assyria came, and entered into Judah, and encamped against the fenced cities,
and thought to win them for himself.
32:2 히스기야가 산헤립이 예루살렘을 치러 온 것을 보고
32:2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib had come for the purpose of fighting against
Jerusalem,
32:2 And when Hezekiah saw that Sennacherib was come, and that he was purposed
to fight against Jerusalem,
32:3 그 방백들과 용사들로 더불어 의논하고 성 밖에 모든 물 근원을 막고자 하매
저희가 돕더라
32:3 He took up with his rulers and men of war the question of stopping up the water-springs
outside the town; and they gave him their support.
32:3 He took counsel with his princes and his mighty men to stop the waters
of the fountains which were without the city: and they did help him.
32:4 이에 백성이 많이 모여 모든 물 근원과 땅으로 흘러가는 시내를 막고 이르되
어찌 앗수르 왕들로 와서 많은 물을 얻게 하리요 하고
32:4 So they got together a great number of people, and had all the water-springs and
the stream flowing through the land stopped up, saying, Why let the kings of Assyria
come and have much water?
32:4 So there was gathered much people together, who stopped all the fountains,
and the brook that ran through the midst of the land, saying, Why should the
kings of Assyria come, and find much water?
32:5 히스기야가 세력을 내어 퇴락한 성을 중수하되 망대까지 높이 쌓고 또 외성을
쌓고 다윗 성의 밀로를 견고케 하고 병기와 방패를 많이 만들고
32:5 Then he took heart, building up the wall where it was broken down, and making its
towers higher, and building another wall outside; and he made strong the Millo in
the town of David, and got together a great store of all sorts of instruments of
war.
32:5 Also he strengthened himself, and built up all the wall that was broken,
and raised it up to the towers, and another wall without, and repaired Millo
in the city of David, and made darts and shields in abundance.
32:6 군대 장관들을 세워 백성을 거느리게 하고 성문 광장 자기에게로 무리를
모으고 말로 위로하여 가로되
32:6 And he put war chiefs over the people, and sent for them all to come together to
him in the wide place at the doorway into the town, and to give them heart he said
to them,
32:6 And he set captains of war over the people, and gathered them together
to him in the street of the gate of the city, and spoke comfortably to them,
saying,
32:7 너희는 마음을 강하게 하며 담대히 하고 앗수르 왕과 그 좇는 온 무리로
인하여 두려워 말며 놀라지 말라 우리와 함께 하는 자가 저와 함께 하는 자보다 크니
32:7 Be strong and take heart; have no fear, and do not be troubled on account of the
king of Assyria and all the great army with him: for there is a greater with us.
32:7 Be strong and courageous, be not afraid nor dismayed for the king of
Assyria, nor for all the multitude that is with him: for there be more with
us than with him:
32:8 저와 함께 하는 자는 육신의 팔이요 우리와 함께 하는 자는 우리의 하나님
여호와시라 반드시 우리를 도우시고 우리를 대신하여 싸우시리라 하매 백성이 유다
왕 히스기야의 말로 인하여 안심하니라
32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but we have the Lord our God, helping us and fighting
for us. And the people put their faith in what Hezekiah, king of Judah, said.
32:8 With him is an arm of flesh; but with us is the LORD our God to help
us, and to fight our battles. And the people rested themselves upon the words
of Hezekiah king of Judah.
32:9 ○ 그 후에 앗수르 왕 산헤립이 그 온 군대를 거느리고 라기스를 치며 그
신복을 예루살렘에 보내어 유다 왕 히스기야와 예루살렘에 있는 유다 무리에게 고하여
이르기를
32:9 After this, Sennacherib, king of Assyria, sent his servants to Jerusalem (at that
time he was stationed with all his army in front of Lachish), to say to Hezekiah
and all the men of Judah in Jerusalem,
32:9 After this did Sennacherib king of Assyria send his servants to Jerusalem,
(but he himself laid siege against Lachish, and all his power with him,) unto
Hezekiah king of Judah, and unto all Judah that were at Jerusalem, saying,
32:10 앗수르 왕 산헤립은 이같이 말하노라 너희가 예루살렘에 에워싸여 있으면서
무엇을 의뢰하느냐
32:10 Sennacherib, king of Assyria, says, In what are you placing your hope, waiting here
in the walled town of Jerusalem?
32:10 Thus says Sennacherib king of Assyria, Whereon do all of you trust,
that all of you abide in the siege in Jerusalem?
32:11 히스기야가 너희를 꾀어 이르기를 우리 하나님 여호와께서 우리를 앗수르
왕의 손에서 건져내시리라 하거니와 이 어찌 너희로 주림과 목마름으로 죽게 함이
아니냐
32:11 Is it not Hezekiah who has got you to do it, causing your death from need of food
and water, by saying, The Lord our God will give us salvation out of the hands of
the king of Assyria?
32:11 Does not Hezekiah persuade you to give over yourselves to die by famine
and by thirst, saying, The LORD our God shall deliver us out of the hand of
the king of Assyria?
32:12 이 히스기야가 여호와의 산당들과 단들을 제하여 버리고 유다와 예루살렘에
명하여 이르기를 너희는 다만 한 단 앞에서 경배하고 그 위에 분향하라 하지 아니하였느냐
32:12 Has not this same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars, saying to
Judah and Jerusalem, Give worship before one altar only, burning offerings on it?
32:12 Has not the same Hezekiah taken away his high places and his altars,
and commanded Judah and Jerusalem, saying, All of you shall worship before one
altar, and burn incense upon it?
32:13 나와 내 열조가 이방 모든 백성에게 행한 것을 너희가 알지 못하느냐 열방의
신들이 능히 그 땅을 나의 손에서 건져낼 수 있었느냐
32:13 Have you no knowledge of what I and my fathers have done to all the peoples of every
land? were the gods of the nations of those lands able to keep their land from falling
into my hands?
32:13 Know all of you not what I and my fathers have done unto all the people
of other lands? were the gods of the nations of those lands any ways able to
deliver their lands out of mine hand?
32:14 나의 열조가 진멸한 열국의 그 모든 신 중에 누가 능히 그 백성을 내 손에서
건져내었기에 너희 하나님이 능히 너희를 내 손에서 건지겠느냐
32:14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations, which my fathers put to destruction,
who was able to keep his people safe from my hands? and is it possible that your
God will keep you safe from my hands?
32:14 Who was there among all the gods of those nations that my fathers utterly
destroyed, that could deliver his people out of mine hand, that your God should
be able to deliver you out of mine hand?
32:15 그런즉 이와 같이 히스기야에게 속지 말라 꾀임을 받지 말라 저를 믿지도
말라 아무 백성이나 아무 나라의 신도 능히 그 백성을 나의 손과 나의 열조의 손에서
건져내지 못하였나니 하물며 너희 하나님이 너희를 내 손에서 건져내겠느냐 하였더라
32:15 So do not be tricked by Hezekiah or let him get you to do this, and do not put any
faith in what he says: for no god of any nation or kingdom has been able to keep
his people safe from my hands, or the hands of my fathers: how much less will your
God keep you safe from my hands!
32:15 Now therefore let not Hezekiah deceive you, nor persuade you on this
manner, neither yet believe him: for no god of any nation or kingdom was able
to deliver his people out of mine hand, and out of the hand of my fathers: how
much less shall your God deliver you out of mine hand?
32:16 ○ 산헤립의 신복들도 더욱 여호와 하나님과 그 종 히스기야를 비방하였으며
32:16 And his servants said even more against the Lord God and against his servant Hezekiah.
32:16 And his servants spoke yet more against the LORD God, and against his
servant Hezekiah.
32:17 산헤립이 또 편지를 써서 보내어 이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 욕하고 비방하여
이르기를 열방의 신들이 그 백성을 내 손에서 구원하여 내지 못한 것 같이 히스기야의
신들도 그 백성을 내 손에서 구원하여 내지 못하리라 하고
32:17 And he sent letters, in addition, to put shame on the Lord, the God of Israel, and
to say evil against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have
not been able to keep their people safe from my hands, no more will the God of Hezekiah
keep his people safe from my hands.
32:17 He wrote also letters to rail on the LORD God of Israel, and to speak
against him, saying, As the gods of the nations of other lands have not delivered
their people out of mine hand, so shall not the God of Hezekiah deliver his
people out of mine hand.
32:18 산헤립의 신하가 유다 방언으로 크게 소리 질러 예루살렘 성 위에 있는 백성을
놀라게 하고 괴롭게 하여 그 성을 취하려 하였는데
32:18 These things they said, crying out with a loud voice in the Jews' language, to the
people of Jerusalem who were on the wall, with the purpose of troubling them and
putting fear into them, so that they might take the town;
32:18 Then they cried with a loud voice in the Jews' speech unto the people
of Jerusalem that were on the wall, to affright them, and to trouble them; that
they might take the city.
32:19 저희가 예루살렘의 하나님을 훼방하기를 사람의 손으로 지은 세상 백성의
신들을 훼방하듯 하였더라
32:19 Talking of the God of Jerusalem as if he was like the gods of the peoples of the
earth, the work of men's hands.
32:19 And they spoke against the God of Jerusalem, as against the gods of
the people of the earth, which were the work of the hands of man.
32:20 이러므로 히스기야 왕이 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야로 더불어 하늘을
향하여 부르짖어 기도하였더니
32:20 And Hezekiah the king, and Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, made prayer because
of this, crying out to heaven.
32:20 And for this cause Hezekiah the king, and the prophet Isaiah the son
of Amoz, prayed and cried to heaven.
32:21 여호와께서 한 천사를 보내어 앗수르 왕의 영에서 모든 큰 용사와 대장과
장관들을 멸하신지라 앗수르 왕이 얼굴이 뜨뜻하여 그 고국으로 돌아갔더니 그 신의
전에 들어갔을 때에 그 몸에서 난 자들이 거기서 칼로 죽였더라
32:21 And the Lord sent an angel who put to death all the men of war and the chiefs and
the captains in the army of the king of Assyria. So he went back to his country
in shame. And when he came into the house of his god, his sons, the offspring of
his body, put him to death there with the sword.
32:21 And the LORD sent an angel, which cut off all the mighty men of valour,
and the leaders and captains in the camp of the king of Assyria. So he returned
with shame of face to his own land. And when he was come into the house of his
god, they that came out of his own bowels slew him there with the sword.
32:22 이와 같이 여호와께서 히스기야와 예루살렘 거민을 앗수르 왕 산헤립의
손과 모든 적국의 손에서 구원하여 내사 사면으로 보호하시매
32:22 So the Lord gave Hezekiah and the people of Jerusalem salvation from the power of
Sennacherib, the king of Assyria, and from all others, giving them rest on every
side.
32:22 Thus the LORD saved Hezekiah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem from
the hand of Sennacherib the king of Assyria, and from the hand of all other,
and guided them on every side.
32:23 여러 사람이 예물을 가지고 예루살렘에 와서 여호와께 드리고 또 보물로
유다 왕 히스기야에게 드린지라 이 후부터 히스기야가 열국의 눈에 존대하게 되었더라
32:23 And great numbers came to Jerusalem with offerings for the Lord, and things of great
price for Hezekiah, king of Judah: so that he was honoured among all nations from
that time.
32:23 And many brought gifts unto the LORD to Jerusalem, and presents to
Hezekiah king of Judah: so that he was magnified in the sight of all nations
from thenceforth.
32:24 그 때에 히스기야가 병들어 죽게 된 고로 여호와께 기도하매 여호와께서
그에게 대답하시고 또 이적으로 보이셨으나
32:24 In those days Hezekiah was ill and near death; and he made prayer to the Lord, and
the Lord in answer gave him a sign.
32:24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto the LORD:
and he spoke unto him, and he gave him a sign.
32:25 히스기야가 마음이 교만하여 그 받은 은혜를 보답지 아니하므로 진노가
저와 유다와 예루살렘에 임하게 되었더니
32:25 But Hezekiah did not do as had been done to him; for his heart was lifted up in
pride; and so wrath came on him and on Judah and Jerusalem.
32:25 But Hezekiah rendered not again according to the benefit done unto
him; for his heart was lifted up: therefore there was wrath upon him, and upon
Judah and Jerusalem.
32:26 히스기야가 마음의 교만함을 뉘우치고 예루살렘 거민들도 그와 같이 하였으므로
여호와의 노가 히스기야의 생전에는 저희에게 임하지 아니하니라
32:26 But then, Hezekiah, in sorrow for what he had done, put away his pride; and he and
all Jerusalem made themselves low, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come on
them in Hezekiah's life-time.
32:26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart,
both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the LORD came
not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
32:27 ○ 히스기야가 부와 영광이 극한지라 이에 은금과 보석과 향품과 방패와
온갖 보배로운 그릇들을 위하여 국고를 세우매
32:27 And Hezekiah had very great wealth and honour; and he made himself store-houses
for his gold and silver and jewels and spices, and for body-covers and all sorts
of beautiful vessels.
32:27 And Hezekiah had exceeding much riches and honour: and he made himself
treasuries for silver, and for gold, and for precious stones, and for spices,
and for shields, and for all manner of pleasant jewels;
32:28 곡식과 새 포도주와 기름의 산물을 위하여 창고를 세우며 온갖 짐승의 외양간을
세우며 양 떼의 우리를 갖추며
32:28 And store-houses for the produce of grain and wine and oil; and buildings for all
sorts of beasts and flocks.
32:28 Storehouses also for the increase of corn, and wine, and oil; and stalls
for all manner of beasts, and cotes for flocks.
32:29 양 떼와 많은 소 떼를 위하여 성읍들을 세웠으니 이는 하나님이 저에게 재산을
심히 많이 주셨음이며
32:29 And he made towns for himself, and got together much property in flocks and herds:
for God had given him great wealth.
32:29 Moreover he provided him cities, and possessions of flocks and herds
in abundance: for God had given him substance very much.
32:30 이 히스기야가 또 기혼의 윗 샘물을 막아 그 아래로 좇아 다윗 성 서편으로
곧게 인도하였으니 저의 모든 일이 형통하였더라
32:30 It was Hezekiah who had the higher spring of the water of Gihon stopped, and the
water taken down on the west side of the town of David. In everything he undertook,
Hezekiah did well.
32:30 This same Hezekiah also stopped the upper watercourse of Gihon, and
brought it straight down to the west side of the city of David. And Hezekiah
prospered in all his works.
32:31 그러나 바벨론 방백들이 히스기야에게 사자를 보내어 그 땅에서 나타난
이적을 물을 때에 하나님이 히스기야를 떠나시고 그 심중에 있는 것을 다 알고자
하사 시험하셨더라
32:31 However, in the business of the representatives sent by the rulers of Babylon to
get news of the wonder which had taken place in the land, God gave up guiding him,
testing him to see what was in his heart.
32:31 Nevertheless in the business of the ambassadors of the princes of Babylon,
who sent unto him to enquire of the wonder that was done in the land, God left
him, to try him, that he might know all that was in his heart.
32:32 ○ 히스기야의 남은 행적과 그 모든 선한 일이 아모스의 아들 선지자 이사야의
묵시책과 유다와 이스라엘 열왕기에 기록되니라
32:32 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and the good he did, are recorded in the vision
of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the book of the kings of Judah and
Israel.
32:32 Now the rest of the acts of Hezekiah, and his goodness, behold, they
are written in the vision of Isaiah the prophet, the son of Amoz, and in the
book of the kings of Judah and Israel.
32:33 히스기야가 그 열조와 함께 자매 온 유다와 예루살렘 거민이 저를 다윗
자손의 묘실 중 높은 곳에 장사하여 저의 죽음에 존경함을 표하였더라 그 아들 므낫세가
대신하여 왕이 되니라
32:33 So Hezekiah went to rest with his fathers, and they put his body into the higher
part of the resting-places of the sons of David: and all Judah and the people of
Jerusalem gave him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son became king in his
place.
32:33 And Hezekiah slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the chiefest
of the sepulchers of the sons of David: and all Judah and the inhabitants of
Jerusalem did him honour at his death. And Manasseh his son reigned in his position.
33:1 므낫세가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 십 이 세라 예루살렘에서 오십 오 년을 치리하며
33:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he became king, and he was ruling for fifty-five
years in Jerusalem.
33:1 Manasseh was twelve years old when he began to reign, and he reigned
fifty and five years in Jerusalem:
33:2 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 여호와께서 이스라엘 자손 앞에서 쫓아내신
이방 사람의 가증한 일을 본받아
33:2 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, copying the disgusting ways of the nations
whom the Lord had sent out of the land before the children of Israel.
33:2 But did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, like unto the
abominations of the heathen, whom the LORD had cast out before the children
of Israel.
33:3 그 부친 히스기야의 헐어 버린 산당을 다시 세우며 바알들을 위하여 단을
쌓으며 아세라 목상을 만들며 하늘의 일월 성신을 숭배하여 섬기며
33:3 For he put up again the high places which had been pulled down by his father Hezekiah;
and he made altars for the Baals, and pillars of wood, and was a worshipper and
servant of all the stars of heaven;
33:3 For he built again the high places which Hezekiah his father had broken
down, and he reared up altars for Baalim, and made groves, and worshipped all
the host of heaven, and served them.
33:4 여호와께서 전에 이르시기를 내가 내 이름을 예루살렘에 영영히 두리라 하신
여호와의 전에 단들을 쌓고
33:4 And he made altars in the house of the Lord, of which the Lord had said, In Jerusalem
will my name be for ever.
33:4 Also he built altars in the house of the LORD, whereof the LORD had
said, In Jerusalem shall my name be for ever.
33:5 또 여호와의 전 두 마당에 하늘의 일월 성신을 위하여 단들을 쌓고
33:5 And he made altars for all the stars of heaven in the two outer squares of the house
of the Lord.
33:5 And he built altars for all the host of heaven in the two courts of
the house of the LORD.
33:6 또 힌놈의 아들 골짜기에서 그 아들들을 불 가운데로 지나게 하며 또 점치며
사술과 요술을 행하며 신접한 자와 박수를 신임하여 여호와 보시기에 악을 많이 행하여
그 진노를 격발하였으며
33:6 More than this, he made his children go through the fire in the valley of the son
of Hinnom; and he made use of secret arts, and signs for reading the future, and
unnatural powers, and gave positions to those who had control of spirits and to
wonder-workers: he did much evil in the eyes of the Lord, moving him to wrath.
33:6 And he caused his children to pass through the fire in the valley of
the son of Hinnom: also he observed times, and used enchantments, and used witchcraft,
and dealt with a familiar spirit, and with wizards: he wrought much evil in
the sight of the LORD, to provoke him to anger.
33:7 또 자기가 만든 아로새긴 목상을 하나님의 전에 세웠더라 옛적에 하나님이
이 전에 대하여 다윗과 그 아들 솔로몬에게 이르시기를 내가 이스라엘 모든 지파
중에서 택한 이 전과 예루살렘에 내 이름을 영원히 둘지라
33:7 And he put the image he had made in the house of God, the house of which God had
said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house, and in Jerusalem, the town
which I have made mine out of all the tribes of Israel, will I put my name for ever:
33:7 And he set a carved image, the idol which he had made, in the house
of God, of which God had said to David and to Solomon his son, In this house,
and in Jerusalem, which I have chosen before all the tribes of Israel, will
I put my name for ever:
33:8 만일 이스라엘 사람이 내가 명한 일 곧 모세로 전한 모든 율법과 율례와
규례를 지켜 행하면 내가 그들의 발로 다시는 그 열조에게 정하여 준 땅에서 옮기지
않게 하리라 하셨으나
33:8 And never again will I let the feet of Israel be moved out of the land which I have
given to their fathers; if only they will take care to do all my orders, even all
the law and the orders and the rules given to them by Moses.
33:8 Neither will I any more remove the foot of Israel from out of the land
which I have appointed for your fathers; so that they will take heed to do all
that I have commanded them, according to the whole law and the statutes and
the ordinances by the hand of Moses.
33:9 유다와 예루살렘 거민이 므낫세의 꾀임을 받고 악을 행한 것이 여호와께서
이스라엘 자손 앞에서 멸하신 열방보다 더욱 심하였더라
33:9 And Manasseh made Judah and the people of Jerusalem go out of the true way, so that
they did more evil than those nations whom the Lord gave up to destruction before
the children of Israel.
33:9 So Manasseh made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go astray,
and to do worse than the heathen, whom the LORD had destroyed before the children
of Israel.
33:10 ○ 여호와께서 므낫세와 그 백성에게 이르셨으나 저희가 듣지 아니한 고로
33:10 And the word of the Lord came to Manasseh and his people, but they gave no attention.
33:10 And the LORD spoke to Manasseh, and to his people: but they would not
hearken.
33:11 여호와께서 앗수르 왕의 군대 장관들로 와서 치게 하시매 저희가 므낫세를
사로잡고 쇠사슬로 결박하여 바벨론으로 끌어 간지라
33:11 So the Lord sent against them the captains of the army of Assyria, who made Manasseh
a prisoner and took him away in chains to Babylon.
33:11 Wherefore the LORD brought upon them the captains of the host of the
king of Assyria, which took Manasseh among the thorns, and bound him with fetters,
and carried him to Babylon.
33:12 저가 환난을 당하여 그 하나님 여호와께 간구하고 그 열조의 하나님 앞에
크게 겸비하여
33:12 And crying out to the Lord his God in his trouble, he made himself low before the
God of his fathers,
33:12 And when he was in affliction, he besought the LORD his God, and humbled
himself greatly before the God of his fathers,
33:13 기도한 고로 하나님이 그 기도를 받으시며 그 간구를 들으시사 저로 예루살렘에
돌아와서 다시 왕위에 거하게 하시매 므낫세가 그제야 여호와께서 하나님이신 줄을
알았더라
33:13 And made prayer to him; and in answer to his prayer God let him come back to Jerusalem
and to his kingdom. Then Manasseh was certain that the Lord was God.
33:13 And prayed unto him: and he was implored of him, and heard his supplication,
and brought him again to Jerusalem into his kingdom. Then Manasseh knew that
the LORD he was God.
33:14 그 후에 다윗 성 밖 기혼 서편 골짜기 안에 외성을 쌓되 생선문 어귀까지
이르러 오벨을 둘러 심히 높이 쌓고 또 유다 모든 견고한 성읍에 군대 장관을 두며
33:14 After this he made an outer wall for the town of David, on the west side of Gihon
in the valley, as far as the way into the town by the fish doorway; and he put a
very high wall round the Ophel; and he put captains of the army in all the walled
towns of Judah.
33:14 Now after this he built a wall without the city of David, on the west
side of Gihon, in the valley, even to the entering in at the fish gate, and
compassed about Ophel, and raised it up a very great height, and put captains
of war in all the fenced cities of Judah.
33:15 이방 신들과 여호와의 전의 우상을 제하며 여호와의 전을 건축한 산에와
예루살렘에 쌓은 모든 단을 다 성 밖에 던지고
33:15 He took away the strange gods and the image out of the house of the Lord, and all
the altars he had put up on the hill of the Lord's house and in Jerusalem, and put
them out of the town.
33:15 And he took away the strange gods, and the idol out of the house of
the LORD, and all the altars that he had built in the mount of the house of
the LORD, and in Jerusalem, and cast them out of the city.
33:16 여호와의 단을 중수하고 화목제와 감사제를 그 단 위에 드리고 유다를 명하여
이스라엘 하나님 여호와를 섬기라 하매
33:16 And he put the altar of the Lord in order, offering peace-offerings and praise-offerings
on it, and said that all Judah were to be servants of the Lord, the God of Israel.
33:16 And he repaired the altar of the LORD, and sacrificed thereon peace
offerings and thank offerings, and commanded Judah to serve the LORD God of
Israel.
33:17 백성이 그 하나님 여호와께만 제사를 드렸으나 오히려 산당에서 제사를
드렸더라
33:17 However, the people still made offerings in the high places, but only to the Lord
their God.
33:17 Nevertheless the people did sacrifice still in the high places, yet
unto the LORD their God only.
33:18 므낫세의 남은 사적과 그 하나님께 기도한 말씀과 선견자가 이스라엘 하나님
여호와의 이름을 받들고 권한 말씀이 모두 이스라엘 열왕의 행장에 기록되었고
33:18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer to his God, and the words which
the seers said to him in the name of the Lord, the God of Israel, are recorded among
the acts of the kings of Israel.
33:18 Now the rest of the acts of Manasseh, and his prayer unto his God,
and the words of the seers that spoke to him in the name of the LORD God of
Israel, behold, they are written in the book of the kings of Israel.
33:19 또 그 기도와 그 기도를 들으신 것과 그 모든 죄와 건과와 겸비하기 전에
산당을 세운 곳과 아세라 목상과 우상을 세운 곳들이 다 호새의 사기에 기록되니라
33:19 And the prayer which he made to God, and how God gave him an answer, and all his
sin and his wrongdoing, and the places where he made high places and put up pillars
of wood and images, before he put away his pride, are recorded in the history of
the seers.
33:19 His prayer also, and how God was implored of him, and all his sins,
and his trespass, and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves
and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the
sayings of the seers.
33:20 므낫세가 그 열조와 함께 자매 그 궁에 장사하고 그 아들 아몬이 대신하여
왕이 되니라
33:20 So Manasseh went to rest with his fathers, and they put his body to rest in his
house, and Amon his son became king in his place.
33:20 So Manasseh slept with his fathers, and they buried him in his own
house: and Amon his son reigned in his position.
33:21 ○ 아몬이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 이 세라 예루살렘에서 이 년을 치리하며
33:21 Amon was twenty-two years old when he became king; and he was ruling for two years
in Jerusalem.
33:21 Amon was two and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned
two years in Jerusalem.
33:22 그 부친 므낫세의 행함 같이 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하여 그 부친 므낫세가
만든 아로새긴 모든 우상에게 제사하여 섬겼으며
33:22 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, as Manasseh his father had done; and Amon made
offerings to all the images which his father Manasseh had made, and was their servant.
33:22 But he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD, as did Manasseh
his father: for Amon sacrificed unto all the carved images which Manasseh his
father had made, and served them;
33:23 이 아몬이 그 부친 므낫세의 스스로 겸비함 같이 여호와 앞에서 스스로
겸비치 아니하고 더욱 범죄하더니
33:23 He did not make himself low before the Lord, as his father Manasseh had done, but
went on sinning more and more.
33:23 And humbled not himself before the LORD, as Manasseh his father had
humbled himself; but Amon trespassed more and more.
33:24 그 신복이 반역하여 왕을 궁중에서 죽이매
33:24 And his servants made a secret design against him, and put him to death in his house.
33:24 And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.
33:25 국민이 아몬 왕을 반역한 사람들을 다 죽이고 그 아들 요시야로 대신하여
왕을 삼으니라
33:25 But the people of the land put to death all those who had taken part in the design
against King Amon, and made his son Josiah king in his place.
33:25 But the people of the land slew all them that had conspired against
king Amon; and the people of the land made Josiah his son king in his position.
34:1 요시야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 팔 세라 예루살렘에서 삼십 일 년을 치리하며
34:1 Josiah was eight years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem for thirty-one
years.
34:1 Josiah was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned in
Jerusalem one and thirty years.
34:2 여호와 보시기에 정직히 행하여 그 조상 다윗의 길로 행하여 좌우로 치우치지
아니하고
34:2 And he did what was right in the eyes of the Lord, walking in the ways of his father
David, without turning to the right hand or to the left.
34:2 And he did that which was right in the sight of the LORD, and walked
in the ways of David his father, and declined neither to the right hand, nor
to the left.
34:3 오히려 어렸을 때 곧 위에 있은 지 팔 년에 그 조상 다윗의 하나님을 비로소
구하고 그 십 이 년에 유다와 예루살렘을 비로소 정결케 하여 그 산당과 아세라 목상들과
아로새긴 우상들과 부어 만든 우상들을 제하여 버리매
34:3 In the eighth year of his rule, while he was still young, his heart was first turned
to the God of his father David; and in the twelfth year he undertook the clearing
away of all the high places and the pillars and the images of wood and metal from
Judah and Jerusalem.
34:3 For in the eighth year of his reign, while he was yet young, he began
to seek after the God of David his father: and in the twelfth year he began
to purge Judah and Jerusalem from the high places, and the groves, and the carved
images, and the molten images.
34:4 무리가 왕의 앞에서 바알들의 단을 훼파하였으며 왕이 또 그 단 위에 높이
달린 태양상들을 찍고 또 아세라 목상들과 아로새긴 우상들과 부어 만든 우상들을
빻아 가루를 만들어 거기 제사하던 자들의 무덤에 뿌리고
34:4 He had the altars of the Baals broken down, while he himself was present; and the
sun-images which were placed on high over them he had cut down; and the pillars
of wood and the metal images he had broken up and crushed to dust, dropping the
dust over the resting-places of the dead who had made offerings to them.
34:4 And they brake down the altars of Baalim in his presence; and the images,
that were on high above them, he cut down; and the groves, and the carved images,
and the molten images, he brake in pieces, and made dust of them, and scattered
it upon the graves of them that had sacrificed unto them.
34:5 제사장들의 뼈를 단 위에서 불살라 유다와 예루살렘을 정결케 하였으며
34:5 And he had the bones of the priests burned on their altars, and so he made Judah
and Jerusalem clean.
34:5 And he burnt the bones of the priests upon their altars, and cleansed
Judah and Jerusalem.
34:6 또 므낫세와 에브라임과 시므온과 납달리까지 사면 황폐한 성읍들에도 그렇게
행하여
34:6 And in all the towns of Manasseh and Ephraim and Simeon as far as Naphtali, he made
waste their houses round about.
34:6 And so did he in the cities of Manasseh, and Ephraim, and Simeon, even
unto Naphtali, with their mattocks round about.
34:7 단들을 훼파하며 아세라 목상들과 아로새긴 우상들을 빻아 가루를 만들며
온 이스라엘 땅에 있는 모든 태양상을 찍고 예루살렘으로 돌아왔더라
34:7 He had the altars and the pillars of wood pulled down and the images crushed to
dust, and all the sun-images cut down, through all the land of Israel, and then
he went back to Jerusalem.
34:7 And when he had broken down the altars and the groves, and had beaten
the graven images into powder, and cut down all the idols throughout all the
land of Israel, he returned to Jerusalem.
34:8 ○ 요시야가 위에 있은 지 십 팔 년에 그 땅과 전을 정결케 하기를 마치고 그
하나님 여호와의 전을 수리하려 하여 아살랴의 아들 사반과 부윤 마아세야와 서기관
요아하스의 아들 요아를 보낸지라
34:8 Now in the eighteenth year of his rule, when the land and the house had been made
clean, he sent Shaphan, the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah, the ruler of the town,
and Joah, the son of Joahaz, the recorder, to make good what was damaged in the
house of the Lord his God.
34:8 Now in the eighteenth year of his reign, when he had purged the land,
and the house, he sent Shaphan the son of Azaliah, and Maaseiah the governor
of the city, and Joah the son of Joahaz the recorder, to repair the house of
the LORD his God.
34:9 저희가 대제사장 힐기야에게 나아가 전에 하나님의 전에 연보한 돈을 저에게
붙이니 이 돈은 문을 지키는 레위 사람이 므낫세와 에브라임과 남아 있는 이스라엘
사람과 온 유다와 베냐민과 예루살렘 거민들에게서 거둔 것이라
34:9 And they came to Hilkiah, the chief priest, and gave him all the money which had
been taken into the house of God, which the Levites, the keepers of the door, had
got from Manasseh and Ephraim and those of Israel who had not been taken away as
prisoners, and from all Judah and Benjamin and the people of Jerusalem.
34:9 And when they came to Hilkiah the high priest, they delivered the money
that was brought into the house of God, which the Levites that kept the doors
had gathered of the hand of Manasseh and Ephraim, and of all the remnant of
Israel, and of all Judah and Benjamin; and they returned to Jerusalem.
34:10 그 돈을 여호와의 전 역사를 감독하는 자의 손에 붙이니 저희가 여호와의
전에 있는 공장에게 주어 그 전을 수리하게 하되
34:10 And they gave it to the overseers of the work of the Lord's house, and the overseers
gave it to the workmen working in the house, for building it up and making good
what was damaged;
34:10 And they put it in the hand of the workmen that had the oversight of
the house of the LORD, and they gave it to the workmen that wrought in the house
of the LORD, to repair and amend the house:
34:11 곧 목수와 건축하는 자에게 붙여 다듬은 돌과 연접하는 나무를 사며 유다
왕들이 헐어 버린 전들을 위하여 들보를 만들게 하매
34:11 Even to the woodworkers and builders to get cut stone and wood for joining the structure
together and for making boards for the houses which the kings of Judah had given
up to destruction.
34:11 Even to the artificers and builders gave they it, to buy hewn stone,
and timber for couplings, and to floor the houses which the kings of Judah had
destroyed.
34:12 그 사람들이 진실히 그 일을 하니라 그 감독은 레위 사람 곧 므라리 자손
중 야핫과 오바댜요 그핫 자손 중 스가랴와 무술람이라 다 그 일을 주장하고 또 음악에
익숙한 레위 사람이 함께 하였으며
34:12 And the men did the work well; and those who had authority over them were Jahath
and Obadiah, Levites of the sons of Merari, and Zechariah and Meshullam, of the
sons of the Kohathites, who were to be responsible for seeing that the work was
done; and others of the Levites, who were expert with instruments of music,
34:12 And the men did the work faithfully: and the overseers of them were
Jahath and Obadiah, the Levites, of the sons of Merari; and Zechariah and Meshullam,
of the sons of the Kohathites, to set it forward; and other of the Levites,
all that could skill of instruments of music.
34:13 저희가 또 담부하는 자를 관할하며 범백 공장을 동독하고 어떤 레위 사람은
서기와 관리와 문지기가 되었더라
34:13 Had authority over the transport workers, giving directions to all who were doing
any sort of work; and among the Levites there were scribes and overseers and door-keepers.
34:13 Also they were over the bearers of burdens, and were overseers of all
that wrought the work in any manner of service: and of the Levites there were
scribes, and officers, and porters.
34:14 ○ 무리가 여호와의 전에 연보한 돈을 꺼낼 때에 제사장 힐기야가 모세의
전한 여호와의 율법책을 발견하고
34:14 Now when they were taking out the money which had come into the Lord's house, Hilkiah
the priest came across the book of the law of the Lord, which he had given by the
mouth of Moses.
34:14 And when they brought out the money that was brought into the house
of the LORD, Hilkiah the priest found a book of the law of the LORD given by
Moses.
34:15 서기관 사반에게 일러 가로되 내가 여호와의 전에서 율법책을 발견하였노라
하고 그 책을 사반에게 주매
34:15 Then Hilkiah said to Shaphan the scribe, I have made discovery of the book of the
law in the house of the Lord. And Hilkiah gave the book to Shaphan.
34:15 And Hilkiah answered and said to Shaphan the scribe, I have found the
book of the law in the house of the LORD. And Hilkiah delivered the book to
Shaphan.
34:16 사반이 책을 가지고 왕에게 나아가서 복명하여 가로되 왕께서 종들에게
명하신 것을 종들이 다 준행하였나이다
34:16 And Shaphan took the book to the king; and he gave him an account of what had been
done, saying, Your servants are doing all they have been given to do;
34:16 And Shaphan carried the book to the king, and brought the king word
back again, saying, All that was committed to your servants, they do it.
34:17 또 여호와의 전에 있던 돈을 쏟아서 감독자와 공장의 손에 붙였나이다 하고
34:17 They have taken out all the money which was in the Lord's house and have given it
to the overseers and to the workmen.
34:17 And they have gathered together the money that was found in the house
of the LORD, and have delivered it into the hand of the overseers, and to the
hand of the workmen.
34:18 서기관 사반이 또 왕에게 고하여 가로되 제사장 힐기야가 내게 책을 주더이다
하고 사반이 왕의 앞에서 읽으매
34:18 Then Shaphan the scribe said to the king, Hilkiah the priest has given me a book;
and he made a start at reading some of it to the king.
34:18 Then Shaphan the scribe told the king, saying, Hilkiah the priest has
given me a book. And Shaphan read it before the king.
34:19 왕이 율법의 말씀을 듣자 곧 자기 옷을 찢더라
34:19 And the king, hearing the words of the law, took his robe in his hands, violently
parting it as a sign of his grief.
34:19 And it came to pass, when the king had heard the words of the law,
that he rent his clothes.
34:20 왕이 힐기야와 사반의 아들 아히감과 미가의 아들 압돈과 서기관 사반과
왕의 시신 아사야에게 명하여 가로되
34:20 And he gave orders to Hilkiah and to Ahikam, the son of Shaphan, and Abdon, the
son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe and Asaiah, the king's servant, saying,
34:20 And the king commanded Hilkiah, and Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and
Abdon the son of Micah, and Shaphan the scribe, and Asaiah a servant of the
king's, saying,
34:21 너희는 가서 나와 및 이스라엘과 유다의 남은 자를 위하여 이 발견한 책의
말씀에 대하여 여호와께 물으라 우리 열조가 여호와의 말씀을 지키지 아니하고 이
책에 기록된 모든 것을 준행치 아니하였으므로 여호와께서 우리에게 쏟으신 진노가
크도다
34:21 Go and get directions from the Lord for me and for those who are still in Israel
and for Judah, about the words of this book which has come to light; for great is
the wrath of the Lord which has been let loose on us, because our fathers have not
kept the word of the Lord or done what is recorded in this book.
34:21 Go, enquire of the LORD for me, and for them that are left in Israel
and in Judah, concerning the words of the book that is found: for great is the
wrath of the LORD that is poured out upon us, because our fathers have not kept
the word of the LORD, to do after all that is written in this book.
34:22 ○ 이에 힐기야와 왕의 보낸 사람들이 여선지자 훌다에게로 나아가니 저는
하스라의 손자 독핫의 아들 예복을 주관하는 살룸의 아내라 예루살렘 둘째 구역에
거하였더라 저희가 그에게 이 뜻으로 고하매
34:22 So Hilkiah, and those whom the king sent, went to Huldah the woman prophet, the
wife of Shallum, the son of Tokhath, the son of Hasrah, the keeper of the robes
(now she was living in Jerusalem, in the second part of the town); and they had
talk with her about this thing.
34:22 And Hilkiah, and they that the king had appointed, went to Huldah the
prophetess, the wife of Shallum the son of Tikvath, the son of Hasrah, keeper
of the wardrobe; (now she dwelt in Jerusalem in the college:) and they spoke
to her to that effect.
34:23 훌다가 저희에게 이르되 이스라엘 하나님 여호와의 말씀으로 너희는 너희를
내게 보낸 사람에게 고하기를
34:23 And she said to them, The Lord, the God of Israel, has said, Say to the man who
sent you to me,
34:23 And she answered them, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Tell all of
you the man that sent you to me,
34:24 여호와의 말씀이 내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 재앙을 내리되 곧 유다 왕 앞에서
읽은 책에 기록된 모든 저주대로 하리니
34:24 These are the words of the Lord: See, I will send evil on this place and on its
people, even all the curses in the book which they have been reading before the
king of Judah;
34:24 Thus says the LORD, Behold, I will bring evil upon this place, and
upon the inhabitants thereof, even all the curses that are written in the book
which they have read before the king of Judah:
34:25 이는 이 백성이 나를 버리고 다른 신에게 분향하며 그 손의 모든 소위로
나의 노를 격발하였음이라 그러므로 나의 노를 이곳에 쏟으매 꺼지지 아니하리라
하라 하셨느니라
34:25 Because they have given me up, burning offerings to other gods and moving me to
wrath by all the works of their hands; so my wrath is let loose on this place and
will not be put out.
34:25 Because they have forsaken me, and have burned incense unto other gods,
that they might provoke me to anger with all the works of their hands; therefore
my wrath shall be poured out upon this place, and shall not be quenched.
34:26 너희를 보내어 여호와께 묻게 한 유다 왕에게는 너희가 이렇게 고하라 이스라엘
하나님 여호와의 말씀이 네가 들은 말을 의논컨대
34:26 But to the king of Judah who sent you to get directions from the Lord, say, This
is what the Lord, the God of Israel, has said: Because you have given ear to my
words,
34:26 And as for the king of Judah, who sent you to enquire of the LORD,
so shall all of you say unto him, Thus says the LORD God of Israel concerning
the words which you have heard;
34:27 내가 이곳과 그 거민을 가리켜 말한 것을 네가 듣고 마음이 연하여 하나님
앞 곧 내 앞에서 겸비하여 옷을 찢고 통곡하였으므로 나도 네 말을 들었노라 여호와가
말하였느니라
34:27 And your heart was soft, and you made yourself low before God, on hearing his words
about this place and its people, and with weeping and signs of grief have made yourself
low before me, I have given ear to you, says the Lord God.
34:27 Because yours heart was tender, and you did humble yourself before
God, when you heard his words against this place, and against the inhabitants
thereof, and humbledst yourself before me, and did rend your clothes, and weep
before me; I have even heard you also, says the LORD.
34:28 그러므로 내가 너로 너의 열조에게 돌아가서 평안히 묘실로 들어가게 하리니
내가 이곳과 그 거민에게 내리는 모든 재앙을 네가 눈으로 보지 못하리라 하셨느니라
사자들이 왕에게 복명하니라
34:28 See, I will let you go to your fathers, and be put in your last resting-place in
peace, and your eyes will not see all the evil which I will send on this place and
on its people. So they took this news back to the king.
34:28 Behold, I will gather you to your fathers, and you shall be gathered
to your grave in peace, neither shall yours eyes see all the evil that I will
bring upon this place, and upon the inhabitants of the same. So they brought
the king word again.
34:29 ○ 왕이 보내어 유다와 예루살렘의 모든 장로를 불러 모으고
34:29 Then the king sent and got together all the responsible men of Judah and of Jerusalem.
34:29 Then the king sent and gathered together all the elders of Judah and
Jerusalem.
34:30 이에 여호와의 전에 올라가매 유다 모든 사람과 예루살렘 거민과 제사장들과
레위 사람들과 모든 백성이 무론 노소하고 다 함께 한지라 왕이 여호와의 전 안에서
발견한 언약책의 모든 말씀을 읽어 무리의 귀에 들리고
34:30 And the king went up to the house of the Lord, with all the men of Judah and the
people of Jerusalem, and the priests and the Levites and all the people, small and
great; and they were present at his reading of the book of the law which had come
to light in the house of the Lord.
34:30 And the king went up into the house of the LORD, and all the men of
Judah, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the priests, and the Levites, and
all the people, great and small: and he read in their ears all the words of
the book of the covenant that was found in the house of the LORD.
34:31 왕이 자기 처소에 서서 여호와 앞에서 언약을 세우되 마음을 다하고 성품을
다하여 여호와를 순종하고 그 계명과 법도와 율례를 지켜 이 책에 기록된 언약의
말씀을 이루리라 하고
34:31 Then the king, taking his place by the pillar, made an agreement before the Lord,
to go in the way of the Lord, and to keep his orders and his decisions and his rules
with all his heart and with all his soul, and to keep the words of the agreement
recorded in this book.
34:31 And the king stood in his place, and made a covenant before the LORD,
to walk after the LORD, and to keep his commandments, and his testimonies, and
his statutes, with all his heart, and with all his soul, to perform the words
of the covenant which are written in this book.
34:32 예루살렘과 베냐민에 있는 자들로 다 이에 참가하게 하매 예루살렘 거민이
하나님 곧 그 열조의 하나님의 언약을 좇으니라
34:32 And he made all the people in Jerusalem and Benjamin give their word to keep it.
And the people of Jerusalem kept the agreement of God, the God of their fathers.
34:32 And he caused all that were present in Jerusalem and Benjamin to stand
to it. And the inhabitants of Jerusalem did according to the covenant of God,
the God of their fathers.
34:33 이와 같이 요시야가 이스라엘 자손에게 속한 모든 땅에서 가증한 것을 다
제하여 버리고 이스라엘의 모든 사람으로 그 하나님 여호와를 섬기게 하였으므로
요시야가 사는 날에 백성이 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께 복종하고 떠나지 아니하였더라
34:33 Josiah took away all the disgusting things out of all the lands of the children
of Israel, and made all who were in Israel servants of the Lord their God. And as
long as he was living they were true to the Lord, the God of their fathers.
34:33 And Josiah took away all the abominations out of all the countries
that pertained to the children of Israel, and made all that were present in
Israel to serve, even to serve the LORD their God. And all his days they departed
not from following the LORD, the God of their fathers.
35:1 요시야가 예루살렘 여호와 앞에서 유월절을 지켜 정월 십 사 일에 유월절
어린 양을 잡으니라
35:1 And Josiah kept a Passover to the Lord in Jerusalem; on the fourteenth day of the
first month they put the Passover lamb to death.
35:1 Moreover Josiah kept a passover unto the LORD in Jerusalem: and they
killed the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month.
35:2 왕이 제사장들에게 그 직분을 맡기고 면려하여 여호와의 전에서 사무를 행하게 하고
35:2 And he gave the priests their places, making them strong for the work of the house
of God.
35:2 And he set the priests in their charges, and encouraged them to the
service of the house of the LORD,
35:3 또 여호와 앞에 구별되어서 온 이스라엘을 가르치는 레위 사람에게 이르되
거룩한 궤를 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 건축한 전 가운데 두고 다시는 너희
어깨에 메지 말고 마땅히 너희 하나님 여호와와 그 백성 이스라엘을 섬길 것이라
35:3 And he said to the Levites, the teachers of all Israel, who were holy to the Lord,
See, the holy ark is in the house which Solomon, the son of David, king of Israel,
made; it will no longer have to be transported on your backs: now be the servants
of the Lord your God and his people Israel,
35:3 And said unto the Levites that taught all Israel, which were holy unto
the LORD, Put the holy ark in the house which Solomon the son of David king
of Israel did build; it shall not be a burden upon your shoulders: serve now
the LORD your God, and his people Israel,
35:4 너희는 이스라엘 왕 다윗의 글과 다윗의 아들 솔로몬의 글을 준행하여 너희
족속대로 반열을 따라 스스로 예비하고
35:4 And make yourselves ready in your divisions, by your families, as it is ordered
in the writings of David, king of Israel, and of Solomon his son;
35:4 And prepare yourselves by the houses of your fathers, after your courses,
according to the writing of David king of Israel, and according to the writing
of Solomon his son.
35:5 너희 형제 모든 백성의 족속의 차서대로 또는 레위 족속의 차서대로 성소에 서서
35:5 And take your positions in the holy place, grouped in the families of your brothers,
the children of the people, and for every division let there be a part of a family
of the Levites.
35:5 And stand in the holy place according to the divisions of the families
of the fathers of your brethren the people, and after the division of the families
of the Levites.
35:6 스스로 성결케 하고 유월절 어린 양을 잡아 너희 형제를 위하여 예비하되
여호와께서 모세로 전하신 말씀을 좇아 행할지니라
35:6 And put the Passover lamb to death, and make yourselves holy, and make it ready
for your brothers, so that the orders given by the Lord through Moses may be done.
35:6 So kill the passover, and sanctify yourselves, and prepare your brethren,
that they may do according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
35:7 요시야가 그 모인 백성들에게 자기의 소유 양 떼 중에서 어린 양과 어린 염소
삼만과 수소 삼천을 내어 유월절 제물로 주매
35:7 And Josiah gave lambs and goats from the flock as Passover offerings for all the
people who were present, to the number of thirty thousand, and three thousand oxen:
these were from the king's private property.
35:7 And Josiah gave to the people, of the flock, lambs and kids, all for
the passover offerings, for all that were present, to the number of thirty thousand,
and three thousand bullocks: these were of the king's substance.
35:8 방백들도 즐거이 희생을 드려 백성과 제사장들과 레위 사람들에게 주었고
하나님의 전을 주장하는 자 힐기야와 스가랴와 여히엘은 제사장들에게 양 이천 육백과
수소 삼백을 유월절 제물로 주었고
35:8 And his captains freely gave an offering to the people, the priests, and the Levites.
Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, the rulers of the house of God, gave to the priests
for the Passover offerings two thousand, six hundred small cattle and three hundred
oxen.
35:8 And his princes gave willingly unto the people, to the priests, and
to the Levites: Hilkiah and Zechariah and Jehiel, rulers of the house of God,
gave unto the priests for the passover offerings two thousand and six hundred
small cattle and three hundred oxen.
35:9 또 레위 사람의 두목들 곧 고나냐와 그 형제 스마야와 느다넬과 또 하사뱌와
여이엘과 요사밧은 양 오천과 수소 오백을 레위 사람들에게 유월절 제물로 주었더라
35:9 And Conaniah and Shemaiah and Nethanel, his brothers, and Hashabiah and Jeiel and
Jozabad, the chiefs of the Levites, gave to the Levites for the Passover offerings
five thousand small cattle and five hundred oxen.
35:9 Conaniah also, and Shemaiah and Nethaneel, his brethren, and Hashabiah
and Jeiel and Jozabad, chief of the Levites, gave unto the Levites for passover
offerings five thousand small cattle, and five hundred oxen.
35:10 ○ 이와 같이 섬길 일이 구비하매 왕의 명을 좇아 제사장들은 자기 처소에
서고 레위 사람들은 그 반열대로 서고
35:10 So everything was made ready and the priests took their places with the Levites
in their divisions, as the king had said.
35:10 So the service was prepared, and the priests stood in their place,
and the Levites in their courses, according to the king's commandment.
35:11 유월절 양을 잡으니 제사장들은 저희 손에서 피를 받아 뿌리고 또 레위
사람들은 잡은 짐승의 가죽을 벗기고
35:11 And they put the Passover lambs to death, the blood being drained out by the priests
when it was given to them, and the Levites did the skinning.
35:11 And they killed the passover, and the priests sprinkled the blood from
their hands, and the Levites flayed them.
35:12 그 번제물을 옮겨 족속의 차서대로 모든 백성에게 나누어 모세의 책에 기록된
대로 여호와께 드리게 하고 소도 그와 같이 하고
35:12 And they took away the burned offerings, so that they might give them to be offered
to the Lord for the divisions of the families of the people, as it is recorded in
the book of Moses. And they did the same with the oxen.
35:12 And they removed the burnt offerings, that they might give according
to the divisions of the families of the people, to offer unto the LORD, as it
is written in the book of Moses. And so did they with the oxen.
35:13 이에 규례대로 유월절 양을 불에 굽고 그 나머지 성물은 솥과 가마와 남비에
삶아 모든 백성에게 속히 분배하고
35:13 And the Passover lamb was cooked over the fire, as it says in the law; and the holy
offerings were cooked in pots and basins and vessels, and taken quickly to all the
people.
35:13 And they roasted the passover with fire according to the ordinance:
but the other holy offerings cook they in pots, and in caldrons, and in pans,
and divided them speedily among all the people.
35:14 그 후에 자기와 제사장들을 위하여 준비하니 이는 아론의 자손 제사장들이
번제와 기름을 저녁까지 드리는 고로 레위 사람들이 자기와 아론의 자손 제사장들을
위하여 준비함이더라
35:14 And after that, they made ready for themselves and for the priests; for the priests,
the sons of Aaron, were offering the burned offerings and the fat till night; so
the Levites made ready what was needed for themselves and for the priests, the sons
of Aaron.
35:14 And afterward they made ready for themselves, and for the priests:
because the priests the sons of Aaron were busied in offering of burnt offerings
and the fat until night; therefore the Levites prepared for themselves, and
for the priests the sons of Aaron.
35:15 아삽의 자손 노래하는 자들은 다윗과 아삽과 헤만과 왕의 선견자 여두둔의
명한 대로 자기 처소에 있고 문지기들은 각 문에 있고 그 직임에서 떠날 것이 없었으니
이는 그 형제 레위 사람들이 저희를 위하여 예비하였음이더라
35:15 And the sons of Asaph, the makers of melody, were in their places, as ordered by
David and Asaph and Heman and Jeduthun, the king's seer; and the door-keepers were
stationed at every door: there was no need for them to go away from their places,
for their brothers the Levites made ready for them.
35:15 And the singers the sons of Asaph were in their place, according to
the commandment of David, and Asaph, and Heman, and Jeduthun the king's seer;
and the porters waited at every gate; they might not depart from their service;
for their brethren the Levites prepared for them.
35:16 ○ 이와 같이 당일에 여호와를 섬길 일이 다 준비되매 요시야 왕의 명대로
유월절을 지키며 번제를 여호와의 단에 드렸으며
35:16 So everything needed for the worship of the Lord was made ready that same day, for
the keeping of the Passover and the offering of burned offerings on the altar of
the Lord, as King Josiah had given orders.
35:16 So all the service of the LORD was prepared the same day, to keep the
passover, and to offer burnt offerings upon the altar of the LORD, according
to the commandment of king Josiah.
35:17 그 때에 모인 이스라엘 자손이 유월절을 지키고 연하여 무교절을 칠 일 동안
지켰으니
35:17 And all the children of Israel who were present kept the Passover and the feast
of unleavened bread at that time for seven days.
35:17 And the children of Israel that were present kept the passover at that
time, and the feast of unleavened bread seven days.
35:18 선지자 사무엘 이후로 이스라엘 가운데서 유월절을 이같이 지키지 못하였고
이스라엘 열왕도 요시야가 제사장들과 레위 사람들과 모인 온 유다와 이스라엘 무리와
예루살렘 거민과 함께 지킨 것처럼은 유월절을 지키지 못하였더라
35:18 No Passover like it had been kept in Israel from the days of Samuel the prophet;
and not one of the kings of Israel had ever kept a Passover like the one kept by
Josiah and the priests and the Levites and all those of Judah and Israel who were
present, and the people of Jerusalem.
35:18 And there was no passover like to that kept in Israel from the days
of Samuel the prophet; neither did all the kings of Israel keep such a passover
as Josiah kept, and the priests, and the Levites, and all Judah and Israel that
were present, and the inhabitants of Jerusalem.
35:19 요시야의 위에 있은 지 십 팔 년에 이 유월절을 지켰더라
35:19 In the eighteenth year of the rule of Josiah this Passover was kept.
35:19 In the eighteenth year of the reign of Josiah was this passover kept.
35:20 이 모든 일 후 곧 요시야가 전을 정돈하기를 마친 후에 애굽 왕 느고가
유브라데 강 가의 갈그미스를 치러 올라온 고로 요시야가 나가서 방비하였더니
35:20 After all this, and after Josiah had put the house in order, Neco, king of Egypt,
went up to make war at Carchemish by the river Euphrates; and Josiah went out against
him.
35:20 After all this, when Josiah had prepared the temple, Necho king of
Egypt came up to fight against Charchemish by Euphrates: and Josiah went out
against him.
35:21 느고가 요시야에게 사자를 보내어 가로되 유다 왕이여 내가 그대와 무슨
관계가 있느뇨 내가 오늘날 그대를 치려는 것이 아니요 나로 더불어 싸우는 족속을
치려는 것이라 하나님이 나를 명하사 속히 하라 하셨은즉 하나님이 나와 함께 계시니
그대는 하나님을 거스리지 말라 그대를 멸하실까 하노라 하나
35:21 But he sent representatives to him, saying, What have I to do with you, O king of
Judah? I have not come against you this day, but against those with whom I am at
war; and God has given me orders to go forward quickly: keep out of God's way, for
he is with me, or he will send destruction on you.
35:21 But he sent ambassadors to him, saying, What have I to do with you,
you king of Judah? I come not against you this day, but against the house wherewith
I have war: for God commanded me to make haste: forbear you from meddling with
God, who is with me, that he destroy you not.
35:22 ○ 요시야가 몸을 돌이켜 떠나기를 싫어하고 변장하고 싸우고자 하여 하나님의
입에서 나온 느고의 말을 듣지 아니하고 므깃도 골짜기에 이르러 싸울 때에
35:22 However, Josiah would not go back; but keeping to his purpose of fighting against
him, and giving no attention to the words of Neco, which came from God, he went
forward to the fight in the valley of Megiddo.
35:22 Nevertheless Josiah would not turn his face from him, but disguised
himself, that he might fight with him, and hearkened not unto the words of Necho
from the mouth of God, and came to fight in the valley of Megiddo.
35:23 활쏘는 자가 요시야 왕을 쏜지라 왕이 그 신복에게 이르되 내가 중상하였으니
나를 도와 나가게 하라
35:23 And the bowmen sent their arrows at King Josiah, and the king said to his servants,
Take me away, for I am badly wounded.
35:23 And the archers shot at king Josiah; and the king said to his servants,
Have me away; for I am sore wounded.
35:24 그 신복이 저를 병거에서 내리게 하고 저의 버금 병거에 태워 예루살렘에
이른 후에 저가 죽으니 그 열조의 묘실에 장사하니라 온 유다와 예루살렘 사람들이
요시야를 슬퍼하고
35:24 So his servants took him out of the line of war-carriages, and put him in his second
carriage and took him to Jerusalem, where he came to his end, and they put his body
in the resting-place of his fathers. And in all Judah and Jerusalem there was great
weeping for Josiah.
35:24 His servants therefore took him out of that chariot, and put him in
the second chariot that he had; and they brought him to Jerusalem, and he died,
and was buried in one of the sepulchers of his fathers. And all Judah and Jerusalem
mourned for Josiah.
35:25 예레미야는 저를 위하여 애가를 지었으며 노래하는 남자와 여자는 요시야를
슬피 노래하니 이스라엘에 규례가 되어 오늘날까지 이르렀으며 그 가사는 애가 중에 기록되었더라
35:25 And Jeremiah made a song of grief for Josiah; and to this day Josiah is named by
all the makers of melody, men and women, in their songs of grief; they made it a
rule in Israel; and the songs are recorded among the songs of grief.
35:25 And Jeremiah lamented for Josiah: and all the singing men and the singing
women spoke of Josiah in their lamentations to this day, and made them an ordinance
in Israel: and, behold, they are written in the lamentations.
35:26 요시야의 남은 사적과 여호와의 율법에 기록된 대로 행한 모든 선한 일과
35:26 Now the rest of the acts of Josiah, and the good he did, in keeping with what is
recorded in the law of the Lord,

35:27 그 시종 행적이 이스라엘과 유다 열왕기에 기록되니라

36:1 국민이 요시야의 아들 여호아하스를 세워 그 부친을 대신하여 예루살렘에서
왕을 삼으니
36:1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz, the son of Josiah, and made him king
in Jerusalem in place of his father.
36:1 Then the people of the land took Jehoahaz the son of Josiah, and made
him king in his father's position in Jerusalem.
36:2 여호아하스가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 삼 세더라 저가 예루살렘에서 치리한 지
석 달에
36:2 Jehoahaz was twenty-three years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem
for three months.
36:2 Jehoahaz was twenty and three years old when he began to reign, and
he reigned three months in Jerusalem.
36:3 애굽 왕이 예루살렘에서 그 위를 폐하고 또 그 나라로 은 일백 달란트와
금 한 달란트를 벌금으로 내게 하며
36:3 Then the king of Egypt took the kingdom from him in Jerusalem, and put on the land
a tax of a hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
36:3 And the king of Egypt put him down at Jerusalem, and condemned the land
in an hundred talents of silver and a talent of gold.
36:4 애굽 왕 느고가 또 그 형제 엘리아김을 세워 유다와 예루살렘 왕을 삼고
그 이름을 고쳐 여호야김이라 하고 그 형제 여호아하스를 애굽으로 잡아갔더라
36:4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem, changing
his name to Jehoiakim. And Neco took his brother Jehoahaz away to Egypt.
36:4 And the king of Egypt made Eliakim his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem,
and turned his name to Jehoiakim. And Necho took Jehoahaz his brother, and carried
him to Egypt.
36:5 ○ 여호야김이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 오 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년을
치리하며 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty-five years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem
for eleven years, and he did evil in the eyes of the Lord his God.
36:5 Jehoiakim was twenty and five years old when he began to reign, and
he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD his God.
36:6 바벨론 왕 느브갓네살이 올라와서 치고 저를 쇠사슬로 결박하여 바벨론으로
잡아가고
36:6 Nebuchadnezzar, king of Babylon, came up against him, and took him away in chains
to Babylon.
36:6 Against him came up Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon, and bound him in
fetters, to carry him to Babylon.
36:7 느브갓네살이 또 여호와의 전 기구들을 바벨론으로 가져다가 바벨론에 있는
자기 신당에 두었더라
36:7 And Nebuchadnezzar took away some of the vessels of the Lord's house, and put them
in the house of his god in Babylon.
36:7 Nebuchadnezzar also carried of the vessels of the house of the LORD
to Babylon, and put them in his temple at Babylon.
36:8 여호야김의 남은 사적과 그 행한 모든 가증한 일과 그 심술이 이스라엘과
유다 열왕기에 기록되니라 그 아들 여호야긴이 대신하여 왕이 되니라
36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim and the disgusting things he did, and all
there is to be said against him, are recorded in the book of the kings of Israel
and Judah; and Jehoiachin his son became king in his place.
36:8 Now the rest of the acts of Jehoiakim, and his abominations which he
did, and that which was found in him, behold, they are written in the book of
the kings of Israel and Judah: and Jehoiachin his son reigned in his position.
36:9 여호야긴이 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 팔 세라 예루살렘에서 석 달 열흘을 치리하며
여호와 보시기에 악을 행하였더라
36:9 Jehoiachin was eighteen years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem
for three months and ten days, and he did evil in the eyes of the Lord.
36:9 Jehoiachin was eight years old when he began to reign, and he reigned
three months and ten days in Jerusalem: and he did that which was evil in the
sight of the LORD.
36:10 세초에 느브갓네살이 보내어 여호야긴을 바벨론으로 잡아가고 여호와의
전의 귀한 기구도 함께 가져가고 그 아자비 시드기야를 세워 유다와 예루살렘 왕을
삼았더라
36:10 In the spring of the year King Nebuchadnezzar sent and took him away to Babylon,
with the beautiful vessels of the house of the Lord, and made Zedekiah, his father's
brother, king over Judah and Jerusalem.
36:10 And when the year was expired, king Nebuchadnezzar sent, and brought
him to Babylon, with the goodly vessels of the house of the LORD, and made Zedekiah
his brother king over Judah and Jerusalem.
36:11 ○ 시드기야가 위에 나아갈 때에 나이 이십 일 세라 예루살렘에서 십 일 년을
치리하며
36:11 Zedekiah was twenty-one years old when he became king; he was ruling in Jerusalem
for eleven years.
36:11 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and reigned
eleven years in Jerusalem.
36:12 그 하나님 여호와 보시기에 악을 행하고 선지자 예레미야가 여호와의 말씀으로
일러도 그의 앞에서 겸비치 아니하였으며
36:12 He did evil in the eyes of the Lord, and did not make himself low before Jeremiah
the prophet who gave him the word of the Lord.
36:12 And he did that which was evil in the sight of the LORD his God, and
humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of the
LORD.
36:13 느브갓네살 왕이 저로 그 하나님을 가리켜 맹세케 하였으나 저가 배반하고
목을 곧게 하며 마음을 강퍅케 하여 이스라엘 하나님 여호와께로 돌아오지 아니하였고
36:13 And he took up arms against King Nebuchadnezzar, though he had made him take an
oath by God; but he made his neck stiff and his heart hard, turning away from the
Lord, the God of Israel.
36:13 And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him
swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning
unto the LORD God of Israel.
36:14 제사장의 어른들과 백성도 크게 범죄하여 이방 모든 가증한 일을 본받아서
여호와께서 예루살렘에 거룩하게 두신 그 전을 더럽게 하였으며
36:14 And more than this, all the great men of Judah and the priests and the people made
their sin great, turning to all the disgusting ways of the nations; and they made
unclean the house of the Lord which he had made holy in Jerusalem.
36:14 Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed
very much after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house
of the LORD which he had hallowed in Jerusalem.
36:15 그 열조의 하나님 여호와께서 그 백성과 그 거하시는 곳을 아끼사 부지런히
그 사자들을 그 백성에게 보내어 이르셨으나
36:15 And the Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them by his servants, sending
early and frequently, because he had pity on his people and on his living-place;
36:15 And the LORD God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising
up early, and sending; because he had compassion on his people, and on his dwelling
place:
36:16 그 백성이 하나님의 사자를 비웃고 말씀을 멸시하며 그 선지자를 욕하여
여호와의 진노로 그 백성에게 미쳐서 만회할 수 없게 하였으므로
36:16 But they put shame on the servants of God, making sport of his words and laughing
at his prophets, till the wrath of God was moved against his people, till there
was no help.
36:16 But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised his words, and
misused his prophets, until the wrath of the LORD arose against his people,
till there was no remedy.
36:17 하나님이 갈대아 왕의 손에 저희를 다 붙이시매 저가 와서 그 성전에서
칼로 청년을 죽이며 청년 남녀와 노인과 백발노옹을 긍휼히 여기지 아니하였으며
36:17 So he sent against them the king of the Chaldaeans, who put their young men to death
with the sword in the house of their holy place, and had no pity for any, young
man or virgin, old man or white-haired: God gave them all into his hands.
36:17 Therefore he brought upon them the king of the Chaldees, who slew their
young men with the sword in the house of their sanctuary, and had no compassion
upon young man or maiden, old man, or him that stooped for age: he gave them
all into his hand.
36:18 또 하나님의 전의 대소 기명들과 여호와의 전의 보물과 왕과 방백들의 보물을
다 바벨론으로 가져가고
36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the stored wealth
of the Lord's house and the wealth of the king and his chiefs, he took away to Babylon.
36:18 And all the vessels of the house of God, great and small, and the treasures
of the house of the LORD, and the treasures of the king, and of his princes;
all these he brought to Babylon.
36:19 또 하나님의 전을 불사르며 예루살렘 성을 헐며 그 모든 궁실을 불사르며
그 모든 귀한 기명을 훼파하고
36:19 And the house of God was burned and the wall of Jerusalem broken down; all its great
houses were burned with fire and all its beautiful vessels given up to destruction.
36:19 And they burnt the house of God, and brake down the wall of Jerusalem,
and burnt all the palaces thereof with fire, and destroyed all the goodly vessels
thereof.
36:20 무릇 칼에서 벗어난 자를 저가 바벨론으로 사로잡아 가매 무리가 거기서
갈대아 왕과 그 자손의 노예가 되어 바사국이 주재할 때까지 이르니라
36:20 And all who had not come to death by the sword he took away prisoners to Babylon;
and they became servants to him and to his sons till the kingdom of Persia came
to power:
36:20 And them that had escaped from the sword carried he away to Babylon;
where they were servants to him and his sons until the reign of the kingdom
of Persia:
36:21 이에 토지가 황무하여 안식년을 누림 같이 안식하여 칠십 년을 지내었으니
여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀이 응하였더라
36:21 So that the words of the Lord, which he said by the mouth of Jeremiah, might come
true, till the land had had pleasure in her Sabbaths; for as long as she was waste
the land kept the Sabbath, till seventy years were complete.
36:21 To fulfill the word of the LORD by the mouth of Jeremiah, until the
land had enjoyed her sabbaths: for as long as she lay desolate she kept sabbath,
to fulfill threescore and ten years.
36:22 ○ 바사 왕 고레스 원년에 여호와께서 예레미야의 입으로 하신 말씀을 응하게
하시려고 바사 왕 고레스의 마음을 감동시키시매 저가 온 나라에 공포도 하고 조서도
내려 가로되
36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus, king of Persia, in order that the words which the
Lord had said by the mouth of Jeremiah might come true, the spirit of Cyrus, king
of Persia, was moved by the Lord, and he made a public statement and had it given
out through all his kingdom and put in writing, saying,
36:22 Now in the first year of Cyrus king of Persia, that the word of the
LORD spoken by the mouth of Jeremiah might be accomplished, the LORD stirred
up the spirit of Cyrus king of Persia, that he made a proclamation throughout
all his kingdom, and put it also in writing, saying,
36:23 바사 왕 고레스는 말하노니 하늘의 신 여호와께서 세상 만국으로 내게 주셨고
나를 명하여 유다 예루살렘에 전을 건축하라 하셨나니 너희 중에 무릇 그 백성된
자는 다 올라갈지어다 너희 하나님 여호와께서 함께 하시기를 원하노라 하였더라
36:23 Cyrus, king of Persia, has said, All the kingdoms of the earth have been given to
me by the Lord, the God of heaven; and he has made me responsible for building a
house for him in Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Whoever there is among you of all
his people, may the Lord his God be with him and let him go up.
36:23 Thus says Cyrus king of Persia, All the kingdoms of the earth has the
LORD God of heaven given me; and he has charged me to build him an house in
Jerusalem, which is in Judah. Who is there among you of all his people? The
LORD his God be with him, and let him go up.
