1:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the tabernacle of the congregation, on the first day of the second month, in the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa di padang gurun Sinai, dalam Kemah Pertemuan, pada tanggal satu bulan yang kedua dalam tahun yang kedua sesudah mereka keluar dari tanah Mesir:
1:2 Take all of you the sum of all the congregation of the children of Israel, after their families, by the house of their fathers, with the number of their names, every male by their polls;
2 "Hitunglah jumlah segenap umat Israel menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam setiap suku mereka, dan catatlah nama semua laki-laki di Israel
1:3 From twenty years old and upward, all that are able to go forth to war in Israel: you and Aaron shall number them by their armies.
3 yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas dan yang sanggup berperang, orang demi orang. Engkau ini beserta Harun harus mencatat mereka menurut pasukannya masing-masing.
1:4 And with you there shall be a man of every tribe; every one head of the house of his fathers.
4 Dari tiap-tiap suku harus ada satu orang yang mendampingi kamu, yakni orang yang menjadi kepala dari suku yang diwakilinya itu.
1:5 And these are the names of the men that shall stand with you: of the tribe of Reuben; Elizur the son of Shedeur.
5 Dan inilah nama semua orang yang harus mendampingi kamu. Dari suku Ruben: Elizur bin Syedeur;
1:6 Of Simeon; Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
6 dari suku Simeon: Selumiel bin Zurisyadai;
1:7 Of Judah; Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
7 dari suku Yehuda: Nahason bin Aminadab;
1:8 Of Issachar; Nethaneel the son of Zuar.

1:16 These were the renowned of the congregation, princes of the tribes of their fathers, heads of thousands in Israel.
16 Itulah orang-orang yang dipilih dari umat itu, masing-masing sebagai pemimpin dari suku bapa leluhurnya; mereka inilah kepala-kepala pasukan Israel.
1:17 And Moses and Aaron took these men which are expressed by their names:
17 Lalu Musa dan Harun memanggil orang-orang yang tertunjuk namanya itu,
1:18 And they assembled all the congregation together on the first day of the second month, and they declared their lineages after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, by their polls.
18 dan pada tanggal satu bulan yang kedua mereka menyuruh segenap umat berkumpul. Kemudian silsilah orang-orang Israel disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam setiap suku mereka, sedang nama-nama mereka yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas dicatat orang demi orang,
1:19 As the LORD commanded Moses, so he numbered them in the wilderness of Sinai.
19 seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa. Demikianlah Musa mencatat mereka di padang gurun Sinai.
1:20 And the children of Reuben, Israel's eldest son, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
20 Ketika silsilah bani Ruben, yaitu keturunan anak sulung Israel, disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama semua laki-laki yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang, orang demi orang.
1:21 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Reuben, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
21 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Ruben ada empat puluh enam ribu lima ratus orang.
1:22 Of the children of Simeon, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, those that were numbered of them, according to the number of the names, by their polls, every male from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
22 Ketika silsilah bani Simeon disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama semua laki-laki yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang, orang demi orang.
1:23 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Simeon, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
23 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Simeon ada lima puluh sembilan ribu tiga ratus orang.
1:24 Of the children of Gad, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
24 Ketika silsilah bani Gad disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:25 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Gad, were forty and five thousand six hundred and fifty.
25 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Gad ada empat puluh lima ribu enam ratus lima puluh orang.
1:26 Of the children of Judah, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
26 Ketika silsilah bani Yehuda disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:27 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Judah, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
27 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Yehuda ada tujuh puluh empat ribu enam ratus orang.
1:28 Of the children of Issachar, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
28 Ketika silsilah bani Isakhar disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:29 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Issachar, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
29 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Isakhar ada lima puluh empat ribu empat ratus orang.
1:30 Of the children of Zebulun, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
30 Ketika silsilah bani Zebulon disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:31 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Zebulun, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
31 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Zebulon ada lima puluh tujuh ribu empat ratus orang.
1:32 Of the children of Joseph, namely, of the children of Ephraim, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
32 Mengenai keturunan Yusuf: Ketika silsilah bani Efraim disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:33 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Ephraim, were forty thousand and five hundred.
33 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Efraim ada empat puluh ribu lima ratus orang.
1:34 Of the children of Manasseh, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
34 Dan ketika silsilah bani Manasye disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:35 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Manasseh, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
35 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Manasye ada tiga puluh dua ribu dua ratus orang.
1:36 Of the children of Benjamin, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
36 Ketika silsilah bani Benyamin disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:37 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Benjamin, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
37 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Benyamin ada tiga puluh lima ribu empat ratus orang.
1:38 Of the children of Dan, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
38 Ketika silsilah bani Dan disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:39 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Dan, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
39 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Dan ada enam puluh dua ribu tujuh ratus orang.
1:40 Of the children of Asher, by their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
40 Ketika silsilah bani Asyer disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:41 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Asher, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
41 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Asyer ada empat puluh satu ribu lima ratus orang.
1:42 Of the children of Naphtali, throughout their generations, after their families, by the house of their fathers, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;
42 Ketika silsilah bani Naftali disusun menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam suku mereka, maka dicatatlah nama orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas, semua orang yang sanggup berperang.
1:43 Those that were numbered of them, even of the tribe of Naphtali, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
43 Jumlah yang dicatat dari suku Naftali ada lima puluh tiga ribu empat ratus orang.
1:44 These are those that were numbered, which Moses and Aaron numbered, and the princes of Israel, being twelve men: each one was for the house of his fathers.
44 Itulah jumlah orang-orang yang dicatat oleh Musa dengan Harun dan dengan kedua belas pemimpin Israel yang masing-masing mewakili sukunya.
1:45 So were all those that were numbered of the children of Israel, by the house of their fathers, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war in Israel;
45 Jadi semua orang Israel yang dicatat menurut suku-suku mereka, yaitu orang-orang yang berumur dua puluh tahun ke atas dan yang sanggup berperang di antara orang Israel,
1:46 Even all they that were numbered were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
46 berjumlah enam ratus tiga ribu lima ratus lima puluh orang.
1:47 But the Levites after the tribe of their fathers were not numbered among them.
47 Tetapi mereka yang menurut suku bapa leluhurnya termasuk orang Lewi, tidak turut dicatat bersama-sama dengan mereka itu.
1:48 For the LORD had spoken unto Moses, saying,
48 Sebab TUHAN telah berfirman kepada Musa:
1:49 Only you shall not number the tribe of Levi, neither take the sum of them among the children of Israel:
49 "Hanya suku Lewi janganlah kaucatat dan janganlah kauhitung jumlahnya bersama-sama dengan orang Israel,
1:50 But you shall appoint the Levites over the tabernacle of testimony, and over all the vessels thereof, and over all things that belong to it: they shall bear the tabernacle, and all the vessels thereof; and they shall minister unto it, and shall camp round about the tabernacle.
50 tetapi tugaskanlah mereka untuk mengawasi Kemah Suci, tempat hukum Allah dengan segala perabotan dan perlengkapannya; mereka harus mengangkat Kemah Suci dengan segala perabotannya; mereka harus mengurusnya dan harus berkemah di sekelilingnya.
1:51 And when the tabernacle sets forward, the Levites shall take it down: and when the tabernacle is to be pitched, the Levites shall set it up: and the stranger that comes nigh shall be put to death.
51 Apabila berangkat, Kemah Suci harus dibongkar oleh orang Lewi, dan apabila berkemah, Kemah Suci harus dipasang oleh mereka; sedang orang awam yang mendekat harus dihukum mati.
1:52 And the children of Israel shall pitch their tents, every man by his own camp, and every man by his own standard, throughout their hosts.
52 Orang Israel haruslah berkemah masing-masing di tempat perkemahannya dan masing-masing dekat panji-panjinya, menurut pasukan mereka,
1:53 But the Levites shall pitch round about the tabernacle of testimony, that there be no wrath upon the congregation of the children of Israel: and the Levites shall keep the charge of the tabernacle of testimony.
53 tetapi orang Lewi haruslah berkemah di sekeliling Kemah Suci, tempat hukum Allah supaya umat Israel jangan kena murka; orang Lewi haruslah memelihara Kemah Suci, tempat hukum itu."
1:54 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did they.
54 Maka orang Israel berbuat demikian; tepat seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah diperbuat mereka.
2:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa dan Harun:
2:2 Every man of the children of Israel shall pitch by his own standard, with the explicit sign of their father's house: far off about the tabernacle of the congregation shall they pitch.
2 "Orang Israel harus berkemah masing-masing dekat panji-panjinya, menurut lambang suku-sukunya. Mereka harus berkemah di sekeliling Kemah Pertemuan, agak jauh dari padanya.
2:3 And on the east side toward the rising of the sun shall they of the standard of the camp of Judah pitch throughout their armies: and Nahshon the son of Amminadab shall be captain of the children of Judah.
3 Yang berkemah di sebelah timur dekat panji-panjinya, ialah laskar Yehuda, menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka. Pemimpin bani Yehuda ialah Nahason bin Aminadab.
2:4 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and fourteen thousand and six hundred.
4 Pasukannya terdiri dari tujuh puluh empat ribu enam ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:5 And those that do pitch next unto him shall be the tribe of Issachar: and Nethaneel the son of Zuar shall be captain of the children of Issachar.
5 Yang berkemah di dekatnya ialah suku Isakhar. Pemimpin bani Isakhar ialah Netaneel bin Zuar.
2:6 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and four thousand and four hundred.
6 Pasukannya terdiri dari lima puluh empat ribu empat ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:7 Then the tribe of Zebulun: and Eliab the son of Helon shall be captain of the children of Zebulun.
7 Kemudian suku Zebulon. Pemimpin bani Zebulon ialah Eliab bin Helon.
2:8 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were fifty and seven thousand and four hundred.
8 Pasukannya terdiri dari lima puluh tujuh ribu empat ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:9 All that were numbered in the camp of Judah were an hundred thousand and fourscore thousand and six thousand and four hundred, throughout their armies. These shall first set forth.
9 Jumlah orang yang dicatat dalam laskar Yehuda menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka ada seratus delapan puluh enam ribu empat ratus orang. Merekalah yang terdahulu berangkat.
2:10 On the south side shall be the standard of the camp of Reuben according to their armies: and the captain of the children of Reuben shall be Elizur the son of Shedeur.
10 Panji-panji laskar Ruben adalah di sebelah selatan, menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka. Pemimpin bani Ruben ialah Elizur bin Syedeur.
2:11 And his host, and those that were numbered thereof, were forty and six thousand and five hundred.
11 Pasukannya terdiri dari empat puluh enam ribu lima ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:12 And those which pitch by him shall be the tribe of Simeon: and the captain of the children of Simeon shall be Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
12 Yang berkemah di dekatnya ialah suku Simeon. Pemimpin bani Simeon ialah Selumiel bin Zurisyadai.
2:13 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and nine thousand and three hundred.
13 Pasukannya terdiri dari lima puluh sembilan ribu tiga ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:14 Then the tribe of Gad: and the captain of the sons of Gad shall be Eliasaph the son of Reuel.
14 Kemudian suku Gad. Pemimpin bani Gad ialah Elyasaf bin Rehuel.
2:15 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and five thousand and six hundred and fifty.
15 Pasukannya terdiri dari empat puluh lima ribu enam ratus lima puluh orang yang dicatat.
2:16 All that were numbered in the camp of Reuben were an hundred thousand and fifty and one thousand and four hundred and fifty, throughout their armies. And they shall set forth in the second rank.
16 Jumlah orang yang dicatat dalam laskar Ruben menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka ada seratus lima puluh satu ribu empat ratus lima puluh orang. Merekalah yang nomor dua berangkat.
2:17 Then the tabernacle of the congregation shall set forward with the camp of the Levites in the midst of the camp: as they camp, so shall they set forward, every man in his place by their standards.
17 Sesudah itu berangkatlah Kemah Pertemuan dengan laskar orang Lewi, di tengah-tengah laskar yang lain itu. Sama seperti mereka berkemah, demikianlah juga mereka berangkat, masing-masing di tempatnya menurut panji-panji mereka.
2:18 On the west side shall be the standard of the camp of Ephraim according to their armies: and the captain of the sons of Ephraim shall be Elishama the son of Ammihud.
18 Panji-panji laskar Efraim, menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka, adalah di sebelah barat. Pemimpin bani Efraim ialah Elisama bin Amihud.
2:19 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty thousand and five hundred.
19 Pasukannya terdiri dari empat puluh ribu lima ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:20 And by him shall be the tribe of Manasseh: and the captain of the children of Manasseh shall be Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
20 Di dekatnya ialah suku Manasye. Pemimpin bani Manasye ialah Gamaliel bin Pedazur.
2:21 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and two thousand and two hundred.
21 Pasukannya terdiri dari tiga puluh dua ribu dua ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:22 Then the tribe of Benjamin: and the captain of the sons of Benjamin shall be Abidan the son of Gideoni.
22 Kemudian suku Benyamin. Pemimpin bani Benyamin ialah Abidan bin Gideoni.
2:23 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were thirty and five thousand and four hundred.
23 Pasukannya terdiri dari tiga puluh lima ribu empat ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:24 All that were numbered of the camp of Ephraim were an hundred thousand and eight thousand and an hundred, throughout their armies. And they shall go forward in the third rank.
24 Jumlah orang yang dicatat dalam laskar Efraim menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka ada seratus delapan ribu seratus orang. Merekalah yang nomor tiga berangkat.
2:25 The standard of the camp of Dan shall be on the north side by their armies: and the captain of the children of Dan shall be Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
25 Panji-panji laskar Dan adalah di sebelah utara, menurut pasukan-pasukan mereka. Pemimpin bani Dan ialah Ahiezer bin Amisyadai.
2:26 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were threescore and two thousand and seven hundred.
26 Pasukannya terdiri dari enam puluh dua ribu tujuh ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:27 And those that camp by him shall be the tribe of Asher: and the captain of the children of Asher shall be Pagiel the son of Ocran.
27 Yang berkemah di dekatnya ialah suku Asyer. Pemimpin bani Asyer ialah Pagiel bin Okhran.
2:28 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were forty and one thousand and five hundred.
28 Pasukannya terdiri dari empat puluh satu ribu lima ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:29 Then the tribe of Naphtali: and the captain of the children of Naphtali shall be Ahira the son of Enan.
29 Kemudian suku Naftali. Pemimpin bani Naftali ialah Ahira bin Enan.
2:30 And his host, and those that were numbered of them, were fifty and three thousand and four hundred.
30 Pasukannya terdiri dari lima puluh tiga ribu empat ratus orang yang dicatat.
2:31 All they that were numbered in the camp of Dan were an hundred thousand and fifty and seven thousand and six hundred. They shall go hindmost with their standards.
31 Jumlah orang yang dicatat dalam laskar Dan ada seratus lima puluh tujuh ribu enam ratus orang. Merekalah yang terkemudian berangkat, menurut panji-panji mereka."
2:32 These are those which were numbered of the children of Israel by the house of their fathers: all those that were numbered of the camps throughout their hosts were six hundred thousand and three thousand and five hundred and fifty.
32 Itulah pencatatan orang Israel menurut suku-suku mereka. Jumlah orang yang dicatat dalam laskar-laskar dengan pasukan-pasukannya ada enam ratus tiga ribu lima ratus lima puluh orang.
2:33 But the Levites were not numbered among the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses.
33 Tetapi orang Lewi tidak turut dicatat bersama-sama dengan orang Israel, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
2:34 And the children of Israel did according to all that the LORD commanded Moses: so they pitched by their standards, and so they set forward, every one after their families, according to the house of their fathers.
34 Maka orang Israel berbuat demikian; tepat seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah mereka berkemah menurut panji-panji mereka, dan demikianlah mereka berangkat, masing-masing menurut kaumnya dan sukunya.
3:1 These also are the generations of Aaron and Moses in the day that the LORD spoke with Moses in mount Sinai.
1 Inilah keturunan Harun dan Musa pada waktu TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa di gunung Sinai.
3:2 And these are the names of the sons of Aaron; Nadab the firstborn, and Abihu, Eleazar, and Ithamar.
2 Nama anak-anak Harun, ialah: yang sulung Nadab, kemudian Abihu, Eleazar dan Itamar.
3:3 These are the names of the sons of Aaron, the priests which were anointed, whom he consecrated to minister in the priest's office.
3 Itulah nama anak-anak Harun, imam-imam yang diurapi, yang telah ditahbiskan untuk memegang jabatan imam.
3:4 And Nadab and Abihu died before the LORD, when they offered strange fire before the LORD, in the wilderness of Sinai, and they had no children: and Eleazar and Ithamar ministered in the priest's office in the sight of Aaron their father.
4 Tetapi Nadab dan Abihu sudah mati di hadapan TUHAN di padang gurun Sinai, ketika mereka mempersembahkan api yang asing ke hadapan TUHAN. Mereka tidak mempunyai anak. Jadi ketika Harun, ayah mereka, masih hidup, yang memegang jabatan imam ialah Eleazar dan Itamar.
3:5 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
5 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
3:6 Bring the tribe of Levi near, and present them before Aaron the priest, that they may minister unto him.
6 "Suruhlah suku Lewi mendekat dan menghadap imam Harun, supaya mereka melayani dia.
3:7 And they shall keep his charge, and the charge of the whole congregation before the tabernacle of the congregation, to do the service of the tabernacle.
7 Mereka harus mengerjakan tugas-tugas bagi Harun dan bagi segenap umat Israel di depan Kemah Pertemuan dan dengan demikian melakukan pekerjaan jabatannya pada Kemah Suci.
3:8 And they shall keep all the instruments of the tabernacle of the congregation, and the charge of the children of Israel, to do the service of the tabernacle.
8 Mereka harus memelihara segala perabotan Kemah Pertemuan, dan mengerjakan tugas-tugas bagi orang Israel dan dengan demikian melakukan pekerjaan jabatannya pada Kemah Suci.
3:9 And you shall give the Levites unto Aaron and to his sons: they are wholly given unto him out of the children of Israel.
9 Orang Lewi harus kauserahkan kepada Harun dan anak-anaknya; dari antara orang Israel haruslah orang-orang itu diserahkan kepadanya dengan sepenuhnya.
3:10 And you shall appoint Aaron and his sons, and they shall wait on their priest's office: and the stranger that comes nigh shall be put to death.
10 Tetapi Harun dan anak-anaknya haruslah kautugaskan untuk memegang jabatannya sebagai imam, sedang orang awam yang mendekat harus dihukum mati."
3:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
11 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
3:12 And I, behold, I have taken the Levites from among the children of Israel instead of all the firstborn that opens the womb among the children of Israel: therefore the Levites shall be mine;
12 "Sesungguhnya, Aku mengambil orang Lewi dari antara orang Israel ganti semua anak sulung mereka, yang terdahulu lahir dari kandungan, supaya orang Lewi menjadi kepunyaan-Ku,
3:13 Because all the firstborn are mine; for on the day that I stroke all the firstborn in the land of Egypt I hallowed unto me all the firstborn in Israel, both man and beast: mine shall they be: I am the LORD.
13 sebab Akulah yang punya semua anak sulung. Pada waktu Aku membunuh semua anak sulung di tanah Mesir, maka Aku menguduskan bagi-Ku semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, baik dari manusia maupun dari hewan; semuanya itu kepunyaan-Ku; Akulah TUHAN."
3:14 And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, saying,
14 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa di padang gurun Sinai:
3:15 Number the children of Levi after the house of their fathers, by their families: every male from a month old and upward shall you number them.
15 "Catatlah bani Lewi menurut puak-puak dan kaum-kaum mereka; semua laki-laki yang berumur satu bulan ke atas harus kaucatat."
3:16 And Moses numbered them according to the word of the LORD, as he was commanded.
16 Lalu Musa mencatat mereka sesuai dengan titah TUHAN, seperti yang diperintahkan kepadanya.
3:17 And these were the sons of Levi by their names; Gershon, and Kohath, and Merari.
17 Inilah anak-anak Lewi dengan nama mereka: Gerson, Kehat dan Merari.
3:18 And these are the names of the sons of Gershon by their families; Libni, and Shimei.
18 Inilah nama anak-anak Gerson dan kaum-kaum mereka: Libni dan Simei.
3:19 And the sons of Kohath by their families; Amram, and Izehar, Hebron, and Uzziel.
19 Anak-anak Kehat dan kaum-kaum mereka ialah Amram, Yizhar, Hebron dan Uziel.
3:20 And the sons of Merari by their families; Mahli, and Mushi. These are the families of the Levites according to the house of their fathers.
20 Anak-anak Merari dan kaum-kaum mereka ialah Mahli dan Musi. Inilah kaum-kaum orang Lewi yang ada dalam puak-puak mereka.
3:21 Of Gershon was the family of the Libnites, and the family of the Shimites: these are the families of the Gershonites.
21 Puak Gerson terdiri dari kaum Libni dan kaum Simei; itulah kaum-kaum Gerson.
3:22 Those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, even those that were numbered of them were seven thousand and five hundred.
22 Jumlah pencatatan mereka ketika semua laki-laki yang berumur satu bulan ke atas dicatat ada tujuh ribu lima ratus orang.
3:23 The families of the Gershonites shall pitch behind the tabernacle westward.
23 Kaum-kaum Gerson ini berkemah di belakang Kemah Suci di sebelah barat.
3:24 And the chief of the house of the father of the Gershonites shall be Eliasaph the son of Lael.
24 Pemimpin puak Gerson ialah Elyasaf bin Lael.
3:25 And the charge of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation shall be the tabernacle, and the tent, the covering thereof, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
25 Yang harus dipelihara oleh bani Gerson dalam Kemah Pertemuan ialah Kemah Suci dan Kemah dengan tudungnya, tirai pintu Kemah Pertemuan,
3:26 And the hangings of the court, and the curtain for the door of the court, which is by the tabernacle, and by the altar round about, and the cords of it for all the service thereof.
26 layar pelataran dan tirai pintu pelataran yang ada sekeliling Kemah Suci dan mezbah, dan talinya, termasuk segala pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan semuanya itu.
3:27 And of Kohath was the family of the Amramites, and the family of the Izeharites, and the family of the Hebronites, and the family of the Uzzielites: these are the families of the Kohathites.
27 Puak Kehat terdiri dari kaum Amram, kaum Yizhar, kaum Hebron dan kaum Uziel; itulah kaum-kaum Kehat.
3:28 In the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were eight thousand and six hundred, keeping the charge of the sanctuary.
28 Jumlah pencatatan mereka ketika semua laki-laki yang berumur satu bulan ke atas dicatat ada delapan ribu enam ratus orang, yakni mereka yang memelihara barang-barang kudus.
3:29 The families of the sons of Kohath shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle southward.
29 Kaum-kaum bani Kehat ini berkemah pada sisi Kemah Suci sebelah selatan.
3:30 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of the Kohathites shall be Elizaphan the son of Uzziel.
30 Pemimpin puak Kehat dan kaum-kaumnya ialah Elisafan bin Uziel.
3:31 And their charge shall be the ark, and the table, and the candlestick, and the altars, and the vessels of the sanctuary wherewith they minister, and the hanging, and all the service thereof.
31 Yang harus dipelihara mereka ialah tabut, meja, kandil, mezbah-mezbah, perkakas tempat kudus yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan ibadah, juga tirai, termasuk segala pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan semuanya itu.
3:32 And Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be chief over the chief of the Levites, and have the oversight of them that keep the charge of the sanctuary.
32 Adapun pemimpin tertinggi orang Lewi ialah Eleazar, anak imam Harun, yang mengawasi mereka yang memelihara barang-barang kudus.
3:33 Of Merari was the family of the Mahlites, and the family of the Mushites: these are the families of Merari.
33 Puak Merari terdiri dari kaum Mahli dan kaum Musi; itulah kaum-kaum Merari.
3:34 And those that were numbered of them, according to the number of all the males, from a month old and upward, were six thousand and two hundred.
34 Jumlah pencatatan mereka ketika semua laki-laki yang berumur satu bulan ke atas dicatat ada enam ribu dua ratus orang.
3:35 And the chief of the house of the father of the families of Merari was Zuriel the son of Abihail: these shall pitch on the side of the tabernacle northward.
35 Pemimpin puak Merari dan kaum-kaumnya ialah Zuriel bin Abihail. Mereka berkemah pada sisi Kemah Suci sebelah utara.
3:36 And under the custody and charge of the sons of Merari shall be the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and the sockets thereof, and all the vessels thereof, and all that serves thereto,
36 Yang ditugaskan kepada bani Merari untuk dipelihara ialah papan Kemah Suci, kayu lintangnya, tiang-tiangnya, alasnya, segala perabotannya, termasuk segala pekerjaan yang berhubungan dengan semuanya itu,
3:37 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords.
37 juga tiang pelataran sekelilingnya, alas, patok dan talinya.
3:38 But those that camp before the tabernacle toward the east, even before the tabernacle of the congregation eastward, shall be Moses, and Aaron and his sons, keeping the charge of the sanctuary for the charge of the children of Israel; and the stranger that comes nigh shall be put to death.
38 Yang berkemah di depan Kemah Suci di sebelah timur, di depan Kemah Pertemuan, ialah Musa, dan Harun serta anak-anaknya, yang mengerjakan tugas pemeliharaan tempat kudus bagi orang Israel; tetapi orang awam yang mendekat, haruslah dihukum mati.
3:39 All that were numbered of the Levites, which Moses and Aaron numbered at the commandment of the LORD, throughout their families, all the males from a month old and upward, were twenty and two thousand.
39 Jumlah orang Lewi yang sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun, menurut kaum-kaum mereka, yakni semua laki-laki yang berumur satu bulan ke atas, ada dua puluh dua ribu orang.
3:40 And the LORD said unto Moses, Number all the firstborn of the males of the children of Israel from a month old and upward, and take the number of their names.
40 Lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa: "Catatlah semua anak sulung laki-laki Israel yang berumur satu bulan ke atas, lalu hitunglah jumlah mereka,
3:41 And you shall take the Levites for me (I am the LORD) instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel; and the cattle of the Levites instead of all the firstlings among the cattle of the children of Israel.
41 dan ambillah orang-orang Lewi bagi-Ku--Akulah TUHAN--sebagai ganti semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, juga hewan orang Lewi ganti semua anak sulung di antara hewan orang Israel."
3:42 And Moses numbered, as the LORD commanded him, all the firstborn among the children of Israel.
42 Maka Musa mencatat semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepadanya.
3:43 And all the firstborn males by the number of names, from a month old and upward, of those that were numbered of them, were twenty and two thousand two hundred and threescore and thirteen.
43 Semua anak sulung laki-laki yang dicatat namanya dalam pencatatan itu, yakni yang berumur satu bulan ke atas, ada dua puluh dua ribu dua ratus tujuh puluh tiga orang.
3:44 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
44 Lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa:
3:45 Take the Levites instead of all the firstborn among the children of Israel, and the cattle of the Levites instead of their cattle; and the Levites shall be mine: I am the LORD.
45 "Ambillah orang Lewi ganti semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, juga hewan orang Lewi ganti hewan mereka, supaya orang Lewi itu menjadi kepunyaan-Ku; Akulah TUHAN.
3:46 And for those that are to be redeemed of the two hundred and threescore and thirteen of the firstborn of the children of Israel, which are more than the Levites;
46 Sebagai uang tebusan untuk kedua ratus tujuh puluh tiga anak sulung Israel yang melebihi jumlah orang Lewi itu,
3:47 You shall even take five shekels apiece by the poll, after the shekel of the sanctuary shall you take them: (the shekel is twenty gerahs:)
47 haruslah engkau mengambil lima syikal seorang; engkau harus mengambilnya menurut syikal kudus--syikal ini dua puluh gera beratnya--.
3:48 And you shall give the money, wherewith the odd number of them is to be redeemed, unto Aaron and to his sons.
48 Berikanlah perak itu kepada Harun dan anak-anaknya sebagai uang tebusan untuk orang-orang yang kelebihan itu."
3:49 And Moses took the redemption money of them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the Levites:
49 Lalu Musa mengambil uang tebusan untuk orang-orang yang melebihi jumlah mereka yang telah ditebus oleh orang Lewi itu;
3:50 Of the firstborn of the children of Israel took he the money; a thousand three hundred and threescore and five shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
50 dari pada anak-anak sulung Israel diambilnya perak itu, seribu tiga ratus enam puluh lima syikal, ditimbang menurut syikal kudus,
3:51 And Moses gave the money of them that were redeemed unto Aaron and to his sons, according to the word of the LORD, as the LORD commanded Moses.
51 maka Musa memberikan uang tebusan itu kepada Harun dan anak-anaknya sesuai dengan titah TUHAN, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
4:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa dan Harun:
4:2 Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
2 "Hitunglah jumlah bani Kehat sebagai suatu golongan tersendiri di antara bani Lewi, menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka.
4:3 From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
3 Hitunglah yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, semua orang yang kena wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan di Kemah Pertemuan.
4:4 This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
4 Pekerjaan jabatan orang Kehat di Kemah Pertemuan ialah mengurus barang-barang yang maha kudus.
4:5 And when the camp sets forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
5 Kalau perkemahan akan berangkat, haruslah Harun dan anak-anaknya masuk ke dalam untuk menurunkan tabir penudung, dan menudungkannya kepada tabut hukum.
4:6 And shall put thereon the covering of badgers' skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
6 Di atasnya mereka harus meletakkan tutup dari kulit lumba-lumba, dan di atasnya lagi mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain yang seluruhnya ungu tua, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung tabut itu.
4:7 And upon the table of showbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover likewise: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
7 Lagipula di atas meja roti sajian mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain ungu tua, dan di atasnya mereka harus meletakkan pinggan, cawan, piala dan kendi korban curahan; juga roti sajian harus tetap ada di atasnya.
4:8 And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
8 Di atas semuanya itu mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain kirmizi, lalu menudungnya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung meja itu.
4:9 And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his intruments for snuffings, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
9 Lalu mereka harus mengambil sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudungkannya kepada kandil untuk penerangan dengan lampu-lampunya, sepit-sepit dan penadah-penadahnya, dan segala perkakas minyaknya yang dipakai untuk mengurus kandil itu.
4:10 And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
10 Dan mereka harus meletakkannya dengan segala perkakasnya ke atas tudung dengan dari kulit lumba-lumba dan meletakkannya di atas usungan.
4:11 And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
11 Di atas mezbah dari emas itu mereka harus membentangkan sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudunginya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung mezbah itu.
4:12 And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers' skins, and shall put them on a bar:
12 Lalu mereka harus mengambil segala perkakas yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan kebaktian di tempat kudus, meletakkannya di atas sehelai kain ungu tua dan menudunginya dengan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian meletakkannya di atas usungan.
4:13 And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
13 Dan mereka harus membersihkan mezbah itu dari abu, lalu membentangkan sehelai kain ungu muda di atasnya,
4:14 And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the forks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers' skins, and put to the staves of it.
14 sesudah itu meletakkan di atasnya segala perkakasnya yang dipakai untuk mengurusnya, yakni perbaraan, garpu, penyodok, bokor penyiraman, segala perkakas mezbah itu, dan di atasnya mereka harus membentangkan tutup dari kulit lumba-lumba, kemudian mereka harus memasang kayu-kayu pengusung mezbah itu.
4:15 And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
15 Setelah Harun dan anak-anaknya selesai menudungi barang-barang kudus dan segala perkakas tempat kudus, pada waktu perkemahan akan berangkat, barulah orang Kehat boleh masuk ke dalam untuk mengangkat barang-barang itu; tetapi janganlah mereka kena kepada barang-barang kudus itu, nanti mereka mati. Jadi itulah barang-barang di Kemah Pertemuan yang harus diangkat bani Kehat.
4:16 And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertains the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily food offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
16 Tetapi Eleazar, anak imam Harun, bertanggung jawab atas minyak untuk penerangan, ukupan dari wangi-wangian, korban sajian yang tetap dan minyak urapan; ia bertanggung jawab atas segenap Kemah Suci dan segala isinya, yakni barang-barang kudus dan perabotannya."
4:17 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron saying,
17 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa dan Harun:
4:18 Cut all of you not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
18 "Perhatikanlah supaya puak Kehat dan kaum-kaumnya jangan musnah binasa dari tengah-tengah orang Lewi.
4:19 But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
19 Inilah yang harus kamu lakukan bagi mereka, supaya mereka tinggal hidup dan jangan mati, apabila mereka mendekat ke barang-barang maha kudus: Harun dan anak-anaknya haruslah masuk ke dalam dan menempatkan mereka masing-masing di tempat tugasnya dekat barang yang harus diangkat.
4:20 But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
20 Tetapi janganlah orang Kehat masuk ke dalam untuk melihat barang-barang kudus itu walau sesaatpun, nanti mereka mati."
4:21 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
21 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
4:22 Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
22 "Hitunglah juga jumlah bani Gerson menurut puak dan kaum-kaum mereka.
4:23 From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shall you number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
23 Catatlah mereka yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, yakni setiap orang yang wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan.
4:24 This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
24 Inilah tugas kaum-kaum Gerson dalam hal pekerjaan jabatan dan pengangkatan barang itu:
4:25 And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers' skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
25 mereka harus mengangkat tenda-tenda Kemah Suci, dan Kemah Pertemuan tudungnya dan tudung dari kulit lumba-lumba yang ada di atasnya, tirai pintu Kemah Pertemuan,
4:26 And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.

4:27 At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and all of you shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
27 Seluruh pekerjaan jabatan bani Gerson harus dilakukan sesuai dengan perintah Harun dan anak-anaknya, yakni segala tugas pengangkatan barang dan pekerjaan jabatan itu; kamu harus membuat mereka penanggung jawab atas segala yang harus diangkat mereka.
4:28 This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
28 Itulah tugas kaum-kaum bani Gerson di Kemah Pertemuan. Mereka harus mengerjakan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak imam Harun itu.
4:29 As for the sons of Merari, you shall number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
29 Orang Merari haruslah kaucatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka.
4:30 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shall you number them, every one that enters into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
30 Catatlah mereka yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, yakni setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas, supaya mereka melakukan pekerjaan jabatan pada Kemah Pertemuan.
4:31 And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
31 Inilah yang wajib diangkat mereka berhubung dengan seluruh pekerjaan jabatan mereka di Kemah Pertemuan: papan-papan Kemah Suci, kayu-kayu lintangnya, tiang-tiangnya, alas-alasnya,
4:32 And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name all of you shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
32 tiang-tiang pelataran sekelilingnya, alas-alasnya, patok-patok dan tali-talinya, serta segala perkakasnya; semuanya termasuk tugas mereka. Dengan terperinci haruslah kamu tunjuk perkakas yang wajib diangkat mereka itu.
4:33 This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
33 Itulah tugas kaum-kaum bani Merari, yakni seluruh pekerjaan jabatan mereka di Kemah Pertemuan, yang harus dilakukan di bawah pimpinan Itamar, anak imam Harun."
4:34 And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
34 Demikianlah Musa dan Harun dengan para pemimpin umat Israel mencatat bani Kehat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
4:35 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that enters into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
35 yakni orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan.
4:36 And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
36 Maka jumlah pencatatan mereka menurut kaum-kaum mereka ada dua ribu tujuh ratus lima puluh orang.
4:37 These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
37 Itulah orang-orang yang dicatat dari kaum-kaum Kehat, semua orang yang melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun, sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
4:38 And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
38 Bani Gerson yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
4:39 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that enters into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
39 yaitu orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan,
4:40 Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
40 jadi mereka yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka, berjumlah dua ribu enam ratus tiga puluh orang.
4:41 These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
41 Itulah jumlah pencatatan kaum-kaum bani Gerson, semua orang yang melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun sesuai dengan titah TUHAN.
4:42 And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
42 Bani Merari yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak mereka,
4:43 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that enters into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
43 yaitu orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang kena wajib tugas berhubung dengan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan,
4:44 Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
44 jadi mereka yang dicatat menurut kaum-kaum mereka, berjumlah tiga ribu dua ratus orang.
4:45 These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
45 Itulah jumlah pencatatan kaum-kaum bani Merari, yakni mereka yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun, sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
4:46 All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
46 Semua orang Lewi yang dicatat oleh Musa dan Harun dengan para pemimpin Israel menurut kaum-kaum yang ada dalam puak-puak mereka,
4:47 From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation.
47 yakni orang-orang yang berumur tiga puluh tahun ke atas sampai yang berumur lima puluh tahun, setiap orang yang wajib melakukan pekerjaan jabatan di Kemah Pertemuan dan pekerjaan pengangkatan barang,
4:48 Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore,
48 jadi mereka yang dicatat, berjumlah delapan ribu lima ratus delapan puluh orang.
4:49 According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
49 Sesuai dengan titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa, maka mereka masing-masing dibuat penanggung jawab atas apa yang harus dikerjakan dan diangkatnya. Demikianlah mereka dicatat, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
5:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
5:2 Command the children of Israel, that they put out of the camp every leper, and every one that has an issue, and whosoever is defiled by the dead:
2 "Perintahkanlah kepada orang Israel, supaya semua orang yang sakit kusta, semua orang yang mengeluarkan lelehan, dan semua orang yang najis oleh mayat disuruh meninggalkan tempat perkemahan;
5:3 Both male and female shall all of you put out, without the camp shall all of you put them; that they defile not their camps, in the midst whereof I dwell.
3 baik laki-laki maupun perempuan haruslah kausuruh pergi; ke luar tempat perkemahan haruslah mereka kausuruh pergi, supaya mereka jangan menajiskan tempat perkemahan di mana Aku diam di tengah-tengah mereka."
5:4 And the children of Israel did so, and put them out without the camp: as the LORD spoke unto Moses, so did the children of Israel.
4 Maka orang Israel berbuat demikian, mereka menyuruh orang-orang itu meninggalkan tempat perkemahan; seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah diperbuat orang Israel.
5:5 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
5 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
5:6 Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass against the LORD, and that person be guilty;
6 "Berbicaralah kepada orang Israel: Apabila seseorang, laki-laki atau perempuan, melakukan sesuatu dosa terhadap sesamanya manusia, dan oleh karena itu berubah setia terhadap TUHAN, sehingga orang itu menjadi bersalah,
5:7 Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he has trespassed.
7 maka haruslah ia mengakui dosa yang telah dilakukannya itu; kemudian membayar tebusan sepenuhnya dengan menambah seperlima, lalu menyerahkannya kepada orang terhadap siapa ia bersalah.
5:8 But if the man have no kinsman to recompense the trespass unto, let the trespass be recompensed unto the LORD, even to the priest; beside the ram of the atonement, whereby an atonement shall be made for him.
8 Tetapi apabila orang itu tidak ada kaumnya, kepada siapa dapat dibayar tebusan salah itu, maka tebusan salah yang harus dibayar itu menjadi kepunyaan TUHAN, dan adalah bagian imam, belum terhitung domba jantan pendamaian yang dipakai untuk mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang itu.
5:9 And every offering of all the holy things of the children of Israel, which they bring unto the priest, shall be his.
9 Dari persembahan-persembahan kudus yang disampaikan orang Israel kepada imam, persembahan khususnya adalah bagian imam.
5:10 And every man's hallowed things shall be his: whatsoever any man gives the priest, it shall be his.
10 Sedang persembahan-persembahan kudus yang dibawa oleh seseorang adalah bagian orang itu sendiri; hanya apa yang diserahkannya kepada seorang imam adalah bagian imam itu."
5:11 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
11 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
5:12 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside, and commit a trespass against him,
12 "Berbicaralah kepada orang Israel dan katakanlah kepada mereka: Apabila isteri seseorang berbuat serong dan tidak setia terhadap suaminya,
5:13 And a man lie with her carnally, and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;
13 dan laki-laki lain tidur dan bersetubuh dengan perempuan itu, dengan tidak diketahui suaminya, karena tinggal rahasia bahwa perempuan itu mencemarkan dirinya, tidak ada saksi terhadap dia, dia tidak kedapatan,
5:14 And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:
14 dan apabila kemudian roh cemburu menguasai suami itu, sehingga ia menjadi cemburu terhadap isterinya, dan perempuan itu memang telah mencemarkan dirinya, atau apabila roh cemburu menguasai suami itu, sehingga ia menjadi cemburu terhadap isterinya, walaupun perempuan itu tidak mencemarkan dirinya,
5:15 Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.
15 maka haruslah orang itu membawa isterinya kepada imam. Dan orang itu harus membawa persembahan karena perempuan itu sebanyak sepersepuluh efa tepung jelai, yang ke atasnya tidak dituangkannya minyak dan yang tidak dibubuhinya kemenyan, karena korban itu ialah korban sajian cemburuan, suatu korban peringatan yang mengingatkan kepada kedurjanaan.
5:16 And the priest shall bring her near, and set her before the LORD:
16 Maka haruslah imam menyuruh perempuan itu mendekat dan menghadapkannya kepada TUHAN.
5:17 And the priest shall take holy water in an earthen vessel; and of the dust that is in the floor of the tabernacle the priest shall take, and put it into the water:
17 Lalu imam harus membawa air kudus dalam suatu tempayan tanah, kemudian harus memungut debu yang ada di lantai Kemah Suci dan membubuhnya ke dalam air itu.
5:18 And the priest shall set the woman before the LORD, and uncover the woman's head, and put the offering of memorial in her hands, which is the jealousy offering: and the priest shall have in his hand the bitter water that causes the curse:
18 Apabila imam sudah menghadapkan perempuan itu kepada TUHAN, haruslah ia menguraikan rambut perempuan itu, lalu meletakkan korban peringatan, yakni korban sajian cemburuan, ke atas telapak tangan perempuan itu, sedang di tangan imam haruslah ada air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk.
5:19 And the priest shall charge her by an oath, and say unto the woman, If no man have lain with you, and if you have not gone aside to uncleanness with another instead of your husband, be you free from this bitter water that causes the curse:
19 Maka haruslah imam menyumpah perempuan itu dengan berkata kepadanya: Jika tidak benar ada laki-laki yang tidur dengan engkau, dan jika tidak engkau berbuat serong kepada kecemaran, padahal engkau di bawah kuasa suamimu, maka luputlah engkau dari air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk ini;
5:20 But if you have gone aside to another instead of your husband, and if you be defiled, and some man have lain with you beside yours husband:
20 tetapi jika engkau, padahal engkau di bawah kuasa suamimu, berbuat serong dan mencemarkan dirimu, oleh karena orang lain dari suamimu sendiri bersetubuh dengan engkau--
5:21 Then the priest shall charge the woman with an oath of cursing, and the priest shall say unto the woman, The LORD make you a curse and an oath among your people, when the LORD does make your thigh to rot, and your belly to swell;
21 dalam hal ini haruslah imam menyumpah perempuan itu dengan sumpah kutuk, dan haruslah imam berkata kepada perempuan itu--maka TUHAN kiranya membuat engkau menjadi sumpah kutuk di tengah-tengah bangsamu dengan mengempiskan pahamu dan mengembungkan perutmu,
5:22 And this water that causes the curse shall go into your bowels, to make your belly to swell, and your thigh to rot: And the woman shall say, Amen, amen.
22 sebab air yang mendatangkan kutuk ini akan masuk ke dalam tubuhmu untuk mengembungkan perutmu dan mengempiskan pahamu. Dan haruslah perempuan itu berkata: Amin, amin.
5:23 And the priest shall write these curses in a book, and he shall blot them out with the bitter water:
23 Lalu imam harus menuliskan kutuk itu pada sehelai kertas dan menghapusnya dengan air pahit itu,
5:24 And he shall cause the woman to drink the bitter water that causes the curse: and the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter.
24 dan ia harus memberi perempuan itu minum air pahit yang mendatangkan kutuk itu, dan air itu akan masuk ke dalam badannya dan menyebabkan sakit yang pedih.
5:25 Then the priest shall take the jealousy offering out of the woman's hand, and shall wave the offering before the LORD, and offer it upon the altar:
25 Maka haruslah imam mengambil korban sajian cemburuan dari tangan perempuan itu lalu mengunjukkannya ke hadapan TUHAN, dan membawanya ke mezbah.
5:26 And the priest shall take an handful of the offering, even the memorial thereof, and burn it upon the altar, and afterward shall cause the woman to drink the water.
26 Sesudah itu haruslah imam mengambil segenggam dari korban sajian itu sebagai bagian ingat-ingatannya dan membakarnya di atas mezbah, kemudian memberi perempuan itu minum air itu.
5:27 And when he has made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass against her husband, that the water that causes the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot: and the woman shall be a curse among her people.
27 Setelah terjadi demikian, apabila perempuan itu memang mencemarkan dirinya dan berubah setia terhadap suaminya, air yang mendatangkan sumpah serapah itu akan masuk ke badannya dan menyebabkan sakit yang pedih, sehingga perutnya mengembung dan pahanya mengempis, dan perempuan itu akan menjadi sumpah kutuk di antara bangsanya.
5:28 And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.
28 Tetapi apabila perempuan itu tidak mencemarkan dirinya, melainkan ia suci, maka ia akan bebas dan akan dapat beranak."
5:29 This is the law of jealousies, when a wife goes aside to another instead of her husband, and is defiled;
29 Itulah hukum tentang perkara cemburuan, kalau seorang perempuan telah berbuat serong dan mencemarkan dirinya, padahal ia di bawah kuasa suaminya,
5:30 Or when the spirit of jealousy comes upon him, and he be jealous over his wife, and shall set the woman before the LORD, and the priest shall execute upon her all this law.
30 atau kalau roh cemburu menguasai seorang laki-laki, sehingga ia cemburu terhadap isterinya; ia harus menghadapkan perempuan itu kepada TUHAN dan imam haruslah melaksanakan seluruh hukum ini kepada perempuan itu.
5:31 Then shall the man be guiltless from iniquity, and this woman shall bear her iniquity.
31 Laki-laki itu akan bebas dari pada salah, tetapi perempuan itu haruslah menanggung akibat kesalahannya.
6:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
6:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When either man or woman shall separate themselves to vow a vow of a Nazarite, to separate themselves unto the LORD:
2 "Berbicaralah kepada orang Israel dan katakanlah kepada mereka: Apabila seseorang, laki-laki atau perempuan, mengucapkan nazar khusus, yakni nazar orang nazir, untuk mengkhususkan dirinya bagi TUHAN,
6:3 He shall separate himself from wine and strong drink, and shall drink no vinegar of wine, or vinegar of strong drink, neither shall he drink any liquor of grapes, nor eat moist grapes, or dried.
3 maka haruslah ia menjauhkan dirinya dari anggur dan minuman yang memabukkan, jangan meminum cuka anggur atau cuka minuman yang memabukkan dan jangan meminum sesuatu minuman yang dibuat dari buah anggur, dan jangan memakan buah anggur, baik yang segar maupun yang kering.
6:4 All the days of his separation shall he eat nothing that is made of the vine tree, from the kernels even to the husk.
4 Selama waktu kenazirannya janganlah ia makan sesuatu apapun yang berasal dari pohon anggur, dari bijinya sampai kepada pucuk rantingnya.
6:5 All the days of the vow of his separation there shall no razor come upon his head: until the days be fulfilled, in the which he separates himself unto the LORD, he shall be holy, and shall let the locks of the hair of his head grow.
5 Selama waktu nazarnya sebagai orang nazir janganlah pisau cukur lalu di kepalanya; sampai genap waktunya ia mengkhususkan dirinya bagi TUHAN, haruslah ia tetap kudus dan membiarkan rambutnya tumbuh panjang.
6:6 All the days that he separates himself unto the LORD he shall come at no dead body.
6 Selama waktunya ia mengkhususkan dirinya bagi TUHAN, janganlah ia dekat kepada mayat orang;
6:7 He shall not make himself unclean for his father, or for his mother, for his brother, or for his sister, when they die: because the consecration of his God is upon his head.
7 bahkan apabila mati ayahnya ataupun ibunya, saudaranya laki-laki ataupun saudaranya perempuan, janganlah ia menajiskan dirinya kepada mereka, sebab tanda kenaziran bagi Allahnya ada di atas kepalanya.
6:8 All the days of his separation he is holy unto the LORD.
8 Selama waktu kenazirannya ia kudus bagi TUHAN.
6:9 And if any man die very suddenly by him, and he has defiled the head of his consecration; then he shall shave his head in the day of his cleansing, on the seventh day shall he shave it.
9 Tetapi apabila seseorang mati di dekatnya dengan sangat tiba-tiba, sehingga ia menajiskan rambut kenazirannya, maka haruslah ia mencukur rambutnya pada hari pentahirannya, yaitu pada hari yang ketujuh haruslah ia mencukurnya.
6:10 And on the eighth day he shall bring two turtles, or two young pigeons, to the priest, to the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
10 Pada hari yang kedelapan haruslah ia membawa dua ekor burung tekukur atau dua ekor anak burung merpati kepada imam, ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan.
6:11 And the priest shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, and make an atonement for him, for that he sinned by the dead, and shall hallow his head that same day.
11 Maka haruslah imam mengolah yang seekor menjadi korban penghapus dosa dan yang lain menjadi korban bakaran, dan mengadakan pendamaian bagi dia, oleh karena dia telah berdosa dengan berada dekat mayat. Pada hari itu juga ia harus menguduskan kepalanya
6:12 And he shall consecrate unto the LORD the days of his separation, and shall bring a lamb of the first year for a trespass offering: but the days that were before shall be lost, because his separation was defiled.
12 dan mengkhususkan waktu kenazirannya bagi TUHAN. Ia harus membawa seekor domba jantan berumur setahun menjadi korban penebus salah. Hari-hari yang sudah lewat dianggap batal, karena rambut kenazirannya telah menjadi najis.
6:13 And this is the law of the Nazarite, when the days of his separation are fulfilled: he shall be brought unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation:
13 Dan inilah hukum tentang seorang nazir. Apabila waktu kenazirannya genap, ia harus dibawa ke pintu Kemah Pertemuan,
6:14 And he shall offer his offering unto the LORD, one he lamb of the first year without blemish for a burnt offering, and one ewe lamb of the first year without blemish for a sin offering, and one ram without blemish for peace offerings,
14 dan ia harus mempersembahkan sebagai persembahannya kepada TUHAN seekor domba jantan berumur setahun yang tidak bercela untuk korban bakaran dan seekor domba betina berumur setahun yang tidak bercela untuk korban penghapus dosa dan seekor domba jantan yang tidak bercela untuk korban keselamatan,
6:15 And a basket of unleavened bread, cakes of fine flour mingled with oil, and wafers of unleavened bread anointed with oil, and their food offering, and their drink offerings.
15 juga sebakul roti yang tidak beragi, yakni roti bundar dari tepung yang terbaik, yang diolah dengan minyak, dan roti tipis yang tidak beragi diolesi dengan minyak, serta dengan korban sajian dan korban-korban curahannya.
6:16 And the priest shall bring them before the LORD, and shall offer his sin offering, and his burnt offering:
16 Lalu haruslah imam membawa semuanya itu ke hadapan TUHAN dan mengolah korban penghapus dosa dan korban bakarannya;
6:17 And he shall offer the ram for a sacrifice of peace offerings unto the LORD, with the basket of unleavened bread: the priest shall offer also his food offering, and his drink offering.
17 domba jantan itu haruslah diolahnya sebagai korban keselamatan bagi TUHAN, beserta sebakul roti yang tidak beragi itu; juga haruslah imam mengolah korban sajian dan korban curahannya.
6:18 And the Nazarite shall shave the head of his separation at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and shall take the hair of the head of his separation, and put it in the fire which is under the sacrifice of the peace offerings.
18 Maka haruslah orang nazir itu mencukur rambut kenazirannya di depan pintu Kemah Pertemuan, lalu mengambil rambut kenazirannya itu dan melemparkannya ke dalam api yang di bawah korban keselamatan.
6:19 And the priest shall take the sodden shoulder of the ram, and one unleavened cake out of the basket, and one unleavened wafer, and shall put them upon the hands of the Nazarite, after the hair of his separation is shaven:
19 Imam haruslah mengambil paha depan domba jantan itu, sesudah dimasak, dan satu roti bundar yang tidak beragi dari dalam bakul, dengan satu roti tipis yang tidak beragi, lalu meletakkannya ke atas telapak tangan orang nazir itu, setelah orang ini mencukur rambut kenazirannya;
6:20 And the priest shall wave them for a wave offering before the LORD: this is holy for the priest, with the wave breast and heave shoulder: and after that the Nazarite may drink wine.
20 kemudian haruslah imam mengunjukkan semuanya itu ke hadapan TUHAN sebagai persembahan unjukan; semuanya itu menjadi bagian kudus bagi imam, beserta dada persembahan unjukan dan beserta paha persembahan khusus. Sesudah itu barulah boleh orang nazir itu minum anggur."
6:21 This is the law of the Nazarite who has vowed, and of his offering unto the LORD for his separation, beside that that his hand shall get: according to the vow which he vowed, so he must do after the law of his separation.
21 Itulah hukum tentang orang nazir yang menazarkan persembahannya kepada TUHAN berdasarkan kenazirannya, belum dihitung apa yang ia mampu mempersembahkan di samping itu. Sesuai dengan bunyi nazar yang diikrarkannya, demikianlah harus dilakukannya berdasarkan hukum tentang kenazirannya.
6:22 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
22 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
6:23 Speak unto Aaron and unto his sons, saying, Likewise all of you shall bless the children of Israel, saying unto them,
23 "Berbicaralah kepada Harun dan anak-anaknya: Beginilah harus kamu memberkati orang Israel, katakanlah kepada mereka:
6:24 The LORD bless you, and keep you:
24 TUHAN memberkati engkau dan melindungi engkau;
6:25 The LORD make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you:
25 TUHAN menyinari engkau dengan wajah-Nya dan memberi engkau kasih karunia;
6:26 The LORD lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace.
26 TUHAN menghadapkan wajah-Nya kepadamu dan memberi engkau damai sejahtera.
6:27 And they shall put my name upon the children of Israel, and I will bless them.
27 Demikianlah harus mereka meletakkan nama-Ku atas orang Israel, maka Aku akan memberkati mereka."
7:1 And it came to pass on the day that Moses had fully set up the tabernacle, and had anointed it, and sanctified it, and all the instruments thereof, both the altar and all the vessels thereof, and had anointed them, and sanctified them;
1 Pada waktu Musa selesai mendirikan Kemah Suci, diurapinya dan dikuduskannyalah itu dengan segala perabotannya, juga mezbah dengan segala perkakasnya; dan setelah diurapi dan dikuduskannya semuanya itu,
7:2 That the princes of Israel, heads of the house of their fathers, who were the princes of the tribes, and were over them that were numbered, offered:
2 maka para pemimpin Israel, para kepala suku mereka, mempersembahkan persembahan. Mereka itu ialah para pemimpin suku yang bertanggung jawab atas pencatatan itu.
7:3 And they brought their offering before the LORD, six covered wagons, and twelve oxen; a wagon for two of the princes, and for each one an ox: and they brought them before the tabernacle.
3 Sebagai persembahan dibawa mereka ke hadapan TUHAN: enam kereta beratap dengan dua belas ekor lembu; satu kereta untuk dua orang pemimpin dan satu ekor lembu untuk satu orang pemimpin, lalu mereka membawa semuanya itu ke depan Kemah Suci.
7:4 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
4 Kemudian TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
7:5 Take it of them, that they may be to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation; and you shall give them unto the Levites, to every man according to his service.
5 "Terimalah semuanya itu dari mereka, supaya dipergunakan untuk pekerjaan pada Kemah Pertemuan; berikanlah semuanya itu kepada orang Lewi, sesuai dengan keperluan pekerjaan masing-masing."
7:6 And Moses took the wagons and the oxen, and gave them unto the Levites.
6 Lalu Musa menerima kereta-kereta dan lembu-lembu itu dan memberikannya kepada orang Lewi;

7:9 But unto the sons of Kohath he gave none: because the service of the sanctuary belonging unto them was that they should bear upon their shoulders.
9 Tetapi kepada bani Kehat tidak diberikannya apa-apa, karena pekerjaan mereka ialah mengurus barang-barang kudus, yang harus diangkat di atas bahunya.
7:10 And the princes offered for dedicating of the altar in the day that it was anointed, even the princes offered their offering before the altar.
10 Lagi para pemimpin mempersembahkan persembahan pentahbisan mezbah, pada hari mezbah itu diurapi; para pemimpin membawa persembahan mereka ke depan mezbah itu.
7:11 And the LORD said unto Moses, They shall offer their offering, each prince on his day, for the dedicating of the altar.

7:84 This was the dedication of the altar, in the day when it was anointed, by the princes of Israel: twelve chargers of silver, twelve silver bowls, twelve spoons of gold:
84 Itulah persembahan pentahbisan mezbah pada hari mezbah itu diurapi, dari pihak para pemimpin Israel, yaitu dua belas pinggan perak, dua belas bokor penyiraman dari perak, dua belas cawan emas.
7:85 Each charger of silver weighing an hundred and thirty shekels, each bowl seventy: all the silver vessels weighed two thousand and four hundred shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary:
85 Beratnya tiap-tiap pinggan adalah seratus tiga puluh syikal perak, dan beratnya tiap-tiap bokor penyiraman adalah tujuh puluh syikal; segala perak perkakas-perkakas itu ada dua ribu empat ratus syikal beratnya, ditimbang menurut syikal kudus.
7:86 The golden spoons were twelve, full of incense, weighing ten shekels apiece, after the shekel of the sanctuary: all the gold of the spoons was an hundred and twenty shekels.
86 Selanjutnya dua belas cawan emas berisi ukupan, tiap-tiap cawan sepuluh syikal beratnya, ditimbang menurut syikal kudus; segala emas cawan itu ada seratus dua puluh syikal beratnya.
7:87 All the oxen for the burnt offering were twelve bullocks, the rams twelve, the lambs of the first year twelve, with their food offering: and the kids of the goats for sin offering twelve.
87 Segala hewan untuk korban bakaran itu ialah dua belas ekor lembu jantan, dua belas ekor domba jantan, dua belas ekor domba berumur setahun, dengan korban sajiannya; juga dua belas ekor kambing jantan untuk korban penghapus dosa.
7:88 And all the oxen for the sacrifice of the peace offerings were twenty and four bullocks, the rams sixty, the he goats sixty, the lambs of the first year sixty. This was the dedication of the altar, after that it was anointed.
88 Segala hewan korban keselamatan itu ialah dua puluh empat ekor lembu jantan, enam puluh ekor domba jantan, enam puluh ekor kambing jantan, enam puluh ekor domba berumur setahun. Itulah persembahan pentahbisan mezbah, sesudah mezbah itu diurapi.
7:89 And when Moses was gone into the tabernacle of the congregation to speak with him, then he heard the voice of one speaking unto him from off the mercy seat that was upon the ark of testimony, from between the two cherubims: and he spoke unto him.
89 Apabila Musa masuk ke dalam Kemah Pertemuan untuk berbicara dengan Dia, maka ia mendengar suara yang berfirman kepadanya dari atas tutup pendamaian, yang di atas tabut hukum Allah, dari antara kedua kerub itu; demikianlah Ia berfirman kepadanya.
8:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
8:2 Speak unto Aaron and say unto him, When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light opposite to the candlestick.
2 "Berbicaralah kepada Harun dan katakanlah kepadanya: Apabila engkau memasang lampu-lampu itu, haruslah ketujuh lampu itu menerangi yang di sebelah depan kandil."
8:3 And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof opposite to the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
3 Demikianlah diperbuat Harun. Di sebelah depan kandil dipasangnyalah lampu-lampunya, seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa.
8:4 And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had showed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
4 Dan beginilah kandil itu dibuat: dari emas tempaan; kandil itu tempaan, baik kakinya maupun kembangnya; sesuai dengan apa yang telah diperlihatkan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah kandil itu dibuatnya.
8:5 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
5 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
8:6 Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
6 "Ambillah orang Lewi dari tengah-tengah orang Israel dan tahirkanlah mereka.
8:7 And thus shall you do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
7 Beginilah harus kaulakukan kepada mereka untuk mentahirkan mereka: percikkanlah kepada mereka air penghapus dosa, kemudian haruslah mereka mencukur seluruh tubuhnya dan mencuci pakaiannya dan dengan demikian mentahirkan dirinya.
8:8 Then let them take a young bullock with his food offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shall you take for a sin offering.
8 Sesudah itu haruslah mereka mengambil seekor lembu jantan muda dengan korban sajiannya dari tepung yang terbaik, diolah dengan minyak, juga seekor lembu jantan muda yang lain haruslah kauambil untuk korban penghapus dosa.
8:9 And you shall bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and you shall gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
9 Selanjutnya haruslah kausuruh orang Lewi mendekat ke depan Kemah Pertemuan, dan kaupanggil berkumpul segenap umat Israel.
8:10 And you shall bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
10 Apabila engkau telah menyuruh orang Lewi mendekat ke hadapan TUHAN, maka haruslah orang Israel meletakkan tangannya atas orang Lewi itu,
8:11 And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
11 dan Harun harus mengunjukkan orang Lewi itu sebagai persembahan unjukan dari antara orang Israel di hadapan TUHAN, dan demikianlah mereka diuntukkan melakukan pekerjaan jabatannya bagi TUHAN.
8:12 And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and you shall offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
12 Setelah orang Lewi meletakkan tangannya atas kepala lembu-lembu jantan muda itu, maka haruslah yang seekor diolah sebagai korban penghapus dosa dan yang lain sebagai korban bakaran bagi TUHAN untuk mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang Lewi.
8:13 And you shall set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.
13 Maka haruslah engkau menghadapkan orang Lewi kepada Harun dengan anak-anaknya dan mengunjukkan mereka sebagai persembahan unjukan bagi TUHAN.
8:14 Thus shall you separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
14 Demikianlah harus engkau mentahirkan mereka dari tengah-tengah orang Israel, supaya orang Lewi itu menjadi kepunyaan-Ku.
8:15 And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and you shall cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
15 Barulah sesudah itu orang Lewi boleh masuk untuk melakukan pekerjaan jabatannya pada Kemah Pertemuan, sesudah engkau mentahirkan mereka dan mengunjukkan mereka sebagai persembahan unjukan.
8:16 For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
16 Sebab mereka harus diserahkan dengan sepenuhnya kepada-Ku dari tengah-tengah orang Israel; ganti semua yang terdahulu lahir dari kandungan, yakni semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, telah Kuambil mereka bagi-Ku.
8:17 For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I stroke every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
17 Sebab semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel, baik dari manusia maupun dari hewan, adalah kepunyaan-Ku; pada waktu Aku membunuh semua anak sulung di tanah Mesir, Aku telah menguduskan semuanya bagi-Ku.
8:18 And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
18 Maka Aku mengambil orang Lewi ganti semua anak sulung yang ada pada orang Israel,
8:19 And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
19 dan Aku menyerahkan orang Lewi dari tengah-tengah orang Israel sebagai pemberian kepada Harun dan anak-anaknya untuk melakukan segala pekerjaan jabatan bagi orang Israel di Kemah Pertemuan, dan untuk mengadakan pendamaian bagi orang Israel, supaya orang Israel jangan kena tulah apabila mereka mendekat ke tempat kudus."
8:20 And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
20 Lalu Musa, Harun dan segenap umat Israel melakukan yang demikian kepada orang Lewi; tepat seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa mengenai orang Lewi, demikianlah dilakukan orang Israel kepada mereka.
8:21 And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
21 Orang Lewi itu menghapus dosa dari dirinya dan mencuci pakaian mereka, kemudian Harun mengunjukkan mereka sebagai persembahan unjukan di hadapan TUHAN, dan mengadakan pendamaian bagi mereka sambil mentahirkan mereka.
8:22 And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
22 Sesudah itu masuklah orang Lewi untuk melakukan pekerjaan jabatan mereka di Kemah Pertemuan, di bawah pengawasan Harun dan anak-anaknya. Seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa mengenai orang Lewi, demikianlah dilakukan kepada mereka.
8:23 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
23 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
8:24 This is it that belongs unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
24 "Inilah yang berlaku bagi orang Lewi: setiap orang yang berumur dua puluh lima tahun ke atas wajib bertugas, supaya ia bekerja pada Kemah Pertemuan,
8:25 And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
25 tetapi jika ia berumur lima puluh tahun haruslah ia dibebaskan dari pekerjaan itu, sehingga tak usah ia bekerja lebih lama lagi.
8:26 But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shall you do unto the Levites concerning their charge.
26 Ia boleh membantu saudara-saudaranya di Kemah Pertemuan dalam menjalankan tugas mereka, tetapi tidak usah lagi ia menjabat pekerjaan itu. Demikianlah harus kaulakukan kepada orang Lewi mengenai tugas mereka."
9:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they were come out of the land of Egypt, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa di padang gurun Sinai, pada bulan yang pertama tahun yang kedua sesudah mereka keluar dari tanah Mesir:
9:2 Let the children of Israel also keep the passover at his appointed season.
2 "Orang Israel harus merayakan Paskah pada waktunya;
9:3 In the fourteenth day of this month, at even, all of you shall keep it in his appointed season: according to all the rites of it, and according to all the ceremonies thereof, shall all of you keep it.
3 pada hari yang keempat belas bulan ini, pada waktu senja, haruslah kamu merayakannya pada waktu yang ditetapkan, menurut segala ketetapan dan peraturannya haruslah kamu merayakannya."
9:4 And Moses spoke unto the children of Israel, that they should keep the passover.
4 Lalu Musa menyuruh orang Israel merayakan Paskah.
9:5 And they kept the passover on the fourteenth day of the first month at even in the wilderness of Sinai: according to all that the LORD commanded Moses, so did the children of Israel.
5 Maka mereka merayakan Paskah pada bulan yang pertama, pada hari yang keempat belas bulan itu, pada waktu senja, di padang gurun Sinai; tepat seperti yang diperintahkan TUHAN kepada Musa, demikianlah dilakukan orang Israel.
9:6 And there were certain men, who were defiled by the dead body of a man, that they could not keep the passover on that day: and they came before Moses and before Aaron on that day:
6 Tetapi ada beberapa orang yang najis oleh karena mayat, sehingga tidak dapat merayakan Paskah pada hari itu. Mereka datang menghadap Musa dan Harun pada hari itu juga,
9:7 And those men said unto him, We are defiled by the dead body of a man: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer an offering of the LORD in his appointed season among the children of Israel?
7 lalu berkata kepadanya: "Sungguhpun kami najis oleh karena mayat, dengan dasar apakah kami dicegah mempersembahkan persembahan bagi TUHAN di tengah-tengah orang Israel pada waktu yang ditetapkan?"
9:8 And Moses said unto them, Stand still, and I will hear what the LORD will command concerning you.
8 Lalu jawab Musa kepada mereka: "Tunggulah dahulu, aku hendak mendengar apa yang akan diperintahkan TUHAN mengenai kamu."
9:9 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
9 Lalu berfirmanlah TUHAN kepada Musa:
9:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If any man of you or of your posterity shall be unclean by reason of a dead body, or be in a journey far off, yet he shall keep the passover unto the LORD.
10 "Katakanlah kepada orang Israel: Apabila salah seorang di antara kamu atau keturunanmu najis oleh karena mayat, atau berada dalam perjalanan jauh, maka ia harus juga merayakan Paskah bagi TUHAN.
9:11 The fourteenth day of the second month at even they shall keep it, and eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.
11 Pada bulan yang kedua, pada hari yang keempat belas, pada waktu senja, haruslah orang-orang itu merayakannya; beserta roti yang tidak beragi dan sayur pahit haruslah mereka memakannya.
9:12 They shall leave none of it unto the morning, nor break any bone of it: according to all the ordinances of the passover they shall keep it.
12 Janganlah mereka meninggalkan sebagian dari padanya sampai pagi, dan satu tulangpun tidak boleh dipatahkan mereka. Menurut segala ketetapan Paskah haruslah mereka merayakannya.
9:13 But the man that is clean, and is not in a journey, and forbears to keep the passover, even the same soul shall be cut off from among his people: because he brought not the offering of the LORD in his appointed season, that man shall bear his sin.
13 Sebaliknya orang yang tidak najis, dan tidak dalam perjalanan, tetapi lalai merayakan Paskah, orang itu harus dilenyapkan dari antara orang-orang sebangsanya, sebab ia tidak mempersembahkan persembahan yang kepada TUHAN pada waktunya; orang itu akan menanggung akibat dosanya.
9:14 And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passover unto the LORD; according to the ordinance of the passover, and according to the manner thereof, so shall he do: all of you shall have one ordinance, both for the stranger, and for him that was born in the land.
14 Apabila seorang asing yang telah menetap padamu hendak merayakan Paskah bagi TUHAN, maka haruslah ia merayakannya menurut segala ketetapan dan peraturan Paskah. Satu ketetapan harus berlaku bagi kamu, baik bagi orang asing maupun bagi orang Israel asli."
9:15 And on the day that the tabernacle was reared up the cloud covered the tabernacle, namely, the tent of the testimony: and at even there was upon the tabernacle as it were the appearance of fire, until the morning.
15 Pada hari didirikan Kemah Suci, maka awan itu menutupi Kemah Suci, kemah hukum Allah; dan pada waktu malam sampai pagi awan itu ada di atas Kemah Suci, kelihatan seperti api.
9:16 So it was always: the cloud covered it by day, and the appearance of fire by night.
16 Demikianlah selalu terjadi: awan itu menutupi Kemah, dan pada waktu malam kelihatan seperti api.
9:17 And when the cloud was taken up from the tabernacle, then after that the children of Israel journeyed: and in the place where the cloud abode, there the children of Israel pitched their tents.
17 Dan setiap kali awan itu naik dari atas Kemah, maka orang Israelpun berangkatlah, dan di tempat awan itu diam, di sanalah orang Israel berkemah.
9:18 At the commandment of the LORD the children of Israel journeyed, and at the commandment of the LORD they pitched: as long as the cloud abode upon the tabernacle they rested in their tents.
18 Atas titah TUHAN orang Israel berangkat dan atas titah TUHAN juga mereka berkemah; selama awan itu diam di atas Kemah Suci, mereka tetap berkemah.
9:19 And when the cloud tarried long upon the tabernacle many days, then the children of Israel kept the charge of the LORD, and journeyed not.
19 Apabila awan itu lama tinggal di atas Kemah Suci, maka orang Israel memelihara kewajibannya kepada TUHAN, dan tidaklah mereka berangkat.
9:20 And so it was, when the cloud was a few days upon the tabernacle; according to the commandment of the LORD they abode in their tents, and according to the commandment of the LORD they journeyed.
20 Ada kalanya awan itu hanya tinggal beberapa hari di atas Kemah Suci; maka atas titah TUHAN mereka berkemah dan atas titah TUHAN juga mereka berangkat.
9:21 And so it was, when the cloud abode from even unto the morning, and that the cloud was taken up in the morning, then they journeyed: whether it was by day or by night that the cloud was taken up, they journeyed.
21 Ada kalanya awan itu tinggal dari petang sampai pagi; ketika awan itu naik pada waktu pagi, merekapun berangkatlah; baik pada waktu siang baik pada waktu malam, apabila awan itu naik, merekapun berangkatlah.
9:22 Or whether it were two days, or a month, or a year, that the cloud tarried upon the tabernacle, remaining thereon, the children of Israel abode in their tents, and journeyed not: but when it was taken up, they journeyed.
22 Berapa lamapun juga awan itu diam di atas Kemah Suci, baik dua hari, baik sebulan atau lebih lama, maka orang Israel tetap berkemah dan tidak berangkat; tetapi apabila awan itu naik, barulah mereka berangkat.
9:23 At the commandment of the LORD they rested in the tents, and at the commandment of the LORD they journeyed: they kept the charge of the LORD, at the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
23 Atas titah TUHAN mereka berkemah dan atas titah TUHAN juga mereka berangkat; mereka memelihara kewajibannya kepada TUHAN, menurut titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
10:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,
1 TUHAN berfirman kepada Musa:
10:2 Make you two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shall you make them: that you may use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
2 "Buatlah dua nafiri dari perak. Dari perak tempaan harus kaubuat itu, supaya dipergunakan untuk memanggil umat Israel dan untuk menyuruh laskar-laskarnya berangkat.
10:3 And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to you at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
3 Apabila kedua nafiri itu ditiup, segenap umat itu harus berkumpul kepadamu di depan pintu Kemah Pertemuan.
10:4 And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto you.
4 Jikalau hanya satu saja ditiup, maka para pemimpin, para kepala pasukan Israel harus berkumpul kepadamu.
10:5 When all of you blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.
5 Apabila kamu meniup tanda semboyan, maka haruslah berangkat laskar-laskar yang berkemah di sebelah timur;
10:6 When all of you blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
6 apabila kamu meniup tanda semboyan kedua kalinya, maka haruslah berangkat laskar-laskar yang berkemah di sebelah selatan. Jadi tanda semboyan harus ditiup untuk menyuruh mereka berangkat;
10:7 But when the congregation is to be gathered together, all of you shall blow, but all of you shall not sound an alarm.
7 tetapi untuk menyuruh jemaah itu berkumpul kamu harus meniup saja tanpa memberi tanda semboyan.
10:8 And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
8 Nafiri-nafiri itu harus ditiup oleh anak-anak imam Harun; itulah yang harus menjadi ketetapan untuk selama-lamanya bagimu turun-temurun.
10:9 And if all of you go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresses you, then all of you shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and all of you shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and all of you shall be saved from your enemies.
9 Dan apabila kamu maju berperang di negerimu melawan musuh yang menyesakkan kamu, kamu harus memberi tanda semboyan dengan nafiri, supaya kamu diingat di hadapan TUHAN, Allahmu, dan diselamatkan dari pada musuhmu.
10:10 Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, all of you shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
10 Juga pada hari-hari kamu bersukaria, pada perayaan-perayaanmu dan pada bulan-bulan barumu haruslah kamu meniup nafiri itu pada waktu mempersembahkan korban-korban bakaranmu dan korban-korban keselamatanmu; maksudnya supaya kamu diingat di hadapan Allahmu; Akulah TUHAN, Allahmu."
10:11 And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
11 Pada tahun yang kedua, pada bulan yang kedua, pada tanggal dua puluh bulan itu, naiklah awan itu dari atas Kemah Suci, tempat hukum Allah.
10:12 And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
12 Lalu berangkatlah orang Israel dari padang gurun Sinai menurut aturan keberangkatan mereka, kemudian diamlah awan itu di padang gurun Paran.
10:13 And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
13 Itulah pertama kali mereka berangkat menurut titah TUHAN dengan perantaraan Musa.
10:14 In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
14 Terdahulu berangkatlah laskar yang di bawah panji-panji bani Yehuda menurut pasukan mereka; yang mengepalai laskar itu ialah Nahason bin Aminadab;
10:15 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
15 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Isakhar ialah Netaneel bin Zuar;
10:16 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
16 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Zebulon ialah Eliab bin Helon.
10:17 And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.
17 Sesudah itu Kemah Suci dibongkar, dan berangkatlah bani Gerson dan bani Merari yang mengangkat Kemah Suci itu.
10:18 And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
18 Kemudian berangkatlah laskar yang di bawah panji-panji Ruben menurut pasukan mereka; yang mengepalai laskar itu ialah Elizur bin Syedeur;
10:19 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
19 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Simeon ialah Selumiel bin Zurisyadai;
10:20 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
20 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Gad ialah Elyasaf bin Rehuel.
10:21 And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
21 Sesudah itu berangkatlah orang Kehat, yang mengangkat barang-barang tempat kudus; Kemah Suci sudah dipasang sebelum mereka datang.
10:22 And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
22 Kemudian berangkatlah laskar yang di bawah panji-panji bani Efraim menurut pasukan mereka;
10:23 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
23 yang mengepalai laskar itu ialah Elisama bin Amihud; yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Manasye ialah Gamaliel bin Pedazur;
10:24 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
24 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Benyamin ialah Abidan bin Gideoni.
10:25 And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rear guard of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
25 Sebagai barisan penutup semua laskar itu berangkatlah laskar yang di bawah panji-panji bani Dan menurut pasukan mereka; yang mengepalai laskar itu ialah Ahiezer bin Amisyadai;
10:26 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
26 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Asyer ialah Pagiel bin Okhran;
10:27 And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
27 yang mengepalai laskar suku bani Naftali ialah Ahira bin Enan.
10:28 Thus were the journeys of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
28 Itulah aturan keberangkatan orang Israel menurut pasukan mereka, ketika mereka berangkat.
10:29 And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses' father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come you with us, and we will do you good: for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.
29 Lalu berkatalah Musa kepada Hobab anak Rehuel orang Midian, mertua Musa: "Kami berangkat ke tempat yang dimaksud TUHAN ketika Ia berfirman: Aku akan memberikannya kepadamu. Sebab itu ikutlah bersama-sama dengan kami, maka kami akan berbuat baik kepadamu, sebab TUHAN telah menjanjikan yang baik tentang Israel."
10:30 And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
30 Tetapi jawabnya kepada Musa: "Aku tidak ikut, melainkan aku hendak pergi ke negeriku dan kepada sanak saudaraku."
10:31 And he said, Leave us not, I pray you; forasmuch as you know how we are to camp in the wilderness, and you may be to us instead of eyes.
31 Kata Musa: "Janganlah kiranya tinggalkan kami, sebab engkaulah yang tahu, bagaimana kami berkemah di padang gurun, maka engkau dapat menjadi penunjuk jalan bagi kami.
10:32 And it shall be, if you go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto you.
32 Jika engkau ikut bersama-sama dengan kami, maka kebaikan yang akan dilakukan TUHAN kepada kami akan kami lakukan juga kepadamu."
10:33 And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days' journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days' journey, to search out a resting place for them.
33 Lalu berangkatlah mereka dari gunung TUHAN dan berjalan tiga hari perjalanan jauhnya, sedang tabut perjanjian TUHAN berangkat di depan mereka dan berjalan tiga hari perjalanan jauhnya untuk mencari tempat perhentian bagi mereka.
10:34 And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
34 Dan awan TUHAN ada di atas mereka pada siang hari, apabila mereka berangkat dari tempat perkemahan.
10:35 And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let yours enemies be scattered; and let them that hate you flee before you.
35 Apabila tabut itu berangkat, berkatalah Musa: "Bangkitlah, TUHAN, supaya musuh-Mu berserak dan orang-orang yang membenci Engkau melarikan diri dari hadapan-Mu."
10:36 And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.
36 Dan apabila tabut itu berhenti, berkatalah ia: "Kembalilah, TUHAN, kepada umat Israel yang beribu-ribu laksa ini."
