41:1 Now it came to pass in the seventh month, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah the son of Elishama, of the seed royal, and the princes of the king, even ten men with him, came unto Gedaliah the son of Ahikam to Mizpah; and there they did eat bread together in Mizpah.
41:1 Dalam bulan yang ketujuh datanglah Ismael bin Netanya bin Elisama--ia keturunan raja dan perwira tinggi raja--beserta sepuluh orang kepada Gedalya bin Ahikam di Mizpa. Sementara mereka makan roti bersama-sama di Mizpa,
41:2 Then arose Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and the ten men that were with him, and stroke Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan with the sword, and slew him, whom the king of Babylon had made governor over the land.
41:2 maka bangkitlah Ismael bin Netanya dengan kesepuluh orang yang ada bersama-sama dia, lalu mereka memukul mati Gedalya bin Ahikam bin Safan dengan pedang; demikianlah Ismael membunuh dia yang telah diangkat raja Babel atas negeri itu.
41:3 Ishmael also slew all the Jews that were with him, even with Gedaliah, at Mizpah, and the Chaldeans that were found there, and the men of war.
41:3 Juga semua orang Yehuda yang ada bersama-sama dengan Gedalya di Mizpa dan orang-orang Kasdim, yakni prajurit, yang terdapat di sana dipukul mati oleh Ismael.
41:4 And it came to pass the second day after he had slain Gedaliah, and no man knew it,
41:4 Esok harinya sesudah ia membunuh Gedalya--ketika itu belum ada yang tahu--
41:5 That there came certain from Shechem, from Shiloh, and from Samaria, even fourscore men, having their beards shaven, and their clothes rent, and having cut themselves, with offerings and incense in their hand, to bring them to the house of the LORD.
41:5 datanglah orang-orang dari Sikhem, dari Silo dan dari Samaria, delapan puluh orang jumlahnya, yang janggutnya bercukur, pakaiannya koyak-koyak dan badannya bertoreh-toreh; mereka membawa korban sajian dan kemenyan untuk dipersembahkan di rumah TUHAN.
41:6 And Ishmael the son of Nethaniah went forth from Mizpah to meet them, weeping all along as he went: and it came to pass, as he met them, he said unto them, Come to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam.
41:6 Lalu keluarlah Ismael bin Netanya dari Mizpa untuk mendapatkan mereka sambil menangis. Ketika ia bertemu dengan mereka, berkatalah ia kepada mereka: "Pergilah kepada Gedalya bin Ahikam!"
41:7 And it was so, when they came into the midst of the city, that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah slew them, and cast them into the midst of the pit, he, and the men that were with him.
41:7 Tetapi ketika mereka sampai ke tengah-tengah kota itu, maka mereka disembelih oleh Ismael bin Netanya dengan dibantu oleh orang-orang yang bersama-sama dengan dia; mayat-mayat mereka dicampakkan ke dalam perigi.
41:8 But ten men were found among them that said unto Ishmael, Slay us not: for we have treasures in the field, of wheat, and of barley, and of oil, and of honey. So he ceased, and slew them not among their brethren.
41:8 Tetapi di antara mereka terdapat sepuluh orang yang berkata kepada Ismael: "Janganlah bunuh kami, sebab kami masih mempunyai perbekalan tersembunyi di luar kota, yakni gandum, jelai, minyak dan madu!" Maka iapun membiarkan mereka, tidak membunuhnya bersama-sama dengan rekan-rekan mereka.
41:9 Now the pit wherein Ishmael had cast all the dead bodies of the men, whom he had slain because of Gedaliah, was it which Asa the king had made for fear of Baasha king of Israel: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah filled it with them that were slain.
41:9 Adapun perigi, ke mana Ismael melemparkan segala mayat orang-orang yang dipukulnya mati itu adalah perigi besar yang telah dibuat oleh raja Asa untuk menghadapi Baesa, raja Israel; itulah yang diisi Ismael bin Netanya dengan mayat orang-orang yang mati terbunuh itu.
41:10 Then Ishmael carried away captive all the residue of the people that were in Mizpah, even the king's daughters, and all the people that remained in Mizpah, whom Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had committed to Gedaliah the son of Ahikam: and Ishmael the son of Nethaniah carried them away captive, and departed to go over to the Ammonites.
41:10Lalu Ismael mengangkutsebagai tawanan seluruh sisa-sisa rakyat yang ada di Mizpa itu, puteri-puteri raja dan semua orang yang masih tinggal di Mizpa yang telah ditempatkan di bawah Gedalya bin Ahikam oleh Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal itu. 41:11 But when Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, heard of all the evil that Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had done,
41:11 Tetapi ketika Yohanan bin Kareah serta semua perwira tentara, yang bersama-sama dengan dia, mendengar tentang segala kejahatan yang telah dilakukan Ismael bin Netanya,
41:12 Then they took all the men, and went to fight with Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, and found him by the great waters that are in Gibeon.
41:12 maka merekapun mengumpulkan semua anak buah mereka, lalu mereka berangkat memerangi Ismael bin Netanya. Mereka bertemu dengan dia di telaga yang di Gibeon.
41:13 Now it came to pass, that when all the people which were with Ishmael saw Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, then they were glad.
41:13 Ketika seluruh rakyat yang bersama-sama dengan Ismael melihat Yohanan bin Kareah serta semua perwira tentara yang bersama-sama dengan dia, maka bersukacitalah mereka.
41:14 So all the people that Ishmael had carried away captive from Mizpah cast about and returned, and went unto Johanan the son of Kareah.
41:14 Semua orang yang diangkut sebagai tawanan oleh Ismael dari Mizpa itu berbalik dan pergi mengikuti Yohanan bin Kareah.
41:15 But Ishmael the son of Nethaniah escaped from Johanan with eight men, and went to the Ammonites.

41:16 Then took Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces that were with him, all the remnant of the people whom he had recovered from Ishmael the son of Nethaniah, from Mizpah, after that he had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, even mighty men of war, and the women, and the children, and the eunuchs, whom he had brought again from Gibeon:
41:16 Lalu Yohanan bin Kareah serta semua perwira tentara yang bersama-sama dengan dia mengumpulkan seluruh sisa-sisa rakyat yang diangkut sebagai tawanan oleh Ismael bin Netanya dari Mizpa, setelah ia memukul mati Gedalya bin Ahikam: yaitu laki-laki, prajurit-prajurit, perempuan, anak-anak dan pegawai-pegawai istana yang dibawa kembali dari Gibeon,
41:17 And they departed, and dwelt in the habitation of Chimham, which is by Bethlehem, to go to enter into Egypt,
41:17 kemudian mereka berjalan terus dan berhenti di tempat penginapan milik Kimham dekat Betlehem, dengan maksud berjalan terus menuju Mesir,
41:18 Because of the Chaldeans: for they were afraid of them, because Ishmael the son of Nethaniah had slain Gedaliah the son of Ahikam, whom the king of Babylon made governor in the land.
41:18 untuk mengelakkan orang-orang Kasdim, yang ditakuti mereka, oleh karena Ismael bin Netanya telah memukul mati Gedalya bin Ahikam yang telah diangkat raja Babel atas negeri itu.
42:1 Then all the captains of the forces, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and Jezaniah the son of Hoshaiah, and all the people from the least even unto the greatest, came near,
42:1 Kemudian datanglah semua perwira tentara, di antaranya Yohanan bin Kareah dan Azarya bin Hosaya, beserta seluruh rakyat, dari yang kecil sampai kepada yang besar,
42:2 And said unto Jeremiah the prophet, Let, we plead to you, our supplication be accepted before you, and pray for us unto the LORD your God, even for all this remnant; (for we are left but a few of many, as yours eyes do behold us:)
42:2 dan mereka berkata kepada nabi Yeremia: "Biarlah kiranya permohonan kami sampai di hadapanmu! Berdoalah untuk kami kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, untuk seluruh sisa ini; sebab dari banyak orang hanya sedikit saja kami yang tinggal, seperti yang kaulihat dengan matamu sendiri.
42:3 That the LORD your God may show us the way wherein we may walk, and the thing that we may do.
42:3 Semoga TUHAN, Allahmu, memberitahukan kepada kami jalan yang harus kami tempuh dan apa yang harus kami lakukan."
42:4 Then Jeremiah the prophet said unto them, I have heard you; behold, I will pray unto the LORD your God according to your words; and it shall come to pass, that whatsoever thing the LORD shall answer you, I will declare it unto you; I will keep nothing back from you.
42:4 Jawab nabi Yeremia kepada mereka: "Permohonanmu sudah kudengar! Lihat, aku akan berdoa kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, seperti yang kamu minta itu, dan segala firman, yang diberi TUHAN sebagai jawab, akan kuberitahukan kepadamu; sepatah katapun tidak akan kudiamkan kepadamu!"
42:5 Then they said to Jeremiah, The LORD be a true and faithful witness between us, if we do not even according to all things for the which the LORD your God shall send you to us.
42:5 Berkatalah mereka kepada Yeremia: "Biarlah TUHAN menjadi saksi yang benar dan yang dapat dipercaya terhadap kami, jika kami tidak berbuat menurut segala firman yang disuruh TUHAN, Allahmu, kausampaikan kepada kami.
42:6 Whether it be good, or whether it be evil, we will obey the voice of the LORD our God, to whom we send you; that it may be well with us, when we obey the voice of the LORD our God.
42:6 Maupun baik ataupun buruk, kami akan mendengarkan suara TUHAN, Allah kita, yang kepada-Nya kami mengutus engkau, supaya keadaan kami baik, oleh karena kami mendengarkan suara TUHAN, Allah kita."
42:7 And it came to pass after ten days, that the word of the LORD came unto Jeremiah.
42:7 Sesudah sepuluh hari datanglah firman TUHAN kepada Yeremia.
42:8 Then called he Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces which were with him, and all the people from the least even to the greatest,
42:8 Lalu Yeremia memanggil Yohanan bin Kareah dan semua perwira tentara yang ada bersama-sama dengan dia, dan seluruh rakyat, dari yang kecil sampai kepada yang besar.
42:9 And said unto them, Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, unto whom all of you sent me to present your supplication before him;
42:9 Berkatalah ia kepada mereka: "Beginilah firman TUHAN, Allah Israel yang kepada-Nya kamu telah mengutus aku untuk menyampaikan permohonanmu ke hadapan-Nya:
42:10 If all of you will still abide in this land, then will I build you, and not pull you down, and I will plant you, and not pluck you up: for I repent me of the evil that I have done unto you.
42:10 Jika kamu tinggal tetap di negeri ini, maka Aku akan membangun dan tidak akan meruntuhkan kamu, akan membuat kamu tumbuh dan tidak akan mencabut kamu; sebab Aku menyesal telah mendatangkan malapetaka kepadamu.
42:11 Be not afraid of the king of Babylon, of whom all of you are afraid; be not afraid of him, says the LORD: for I am with you to save you, and to deliver you from his hand.
42:11 Janganlah takut kepada raja Babel yang kamu takuti itu. Janganlah takut kepadanya, demikianlah firman TUHAN, sebab Aku menyertai kamu untuk menyelamatkan kamu dan untuk melepaskan kamu dari tangannya.
42:12 And I will show mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land.
42:12 Aku akan membuat kamu mendapat belas kasihan, sehingga ia merasa belas kasihan kepadamu dan membiarkan kamu tinggal di tanahmu.
42:13 But if all of you say, We will not dwell in this land, neither obey the voice of the LORD your God,
42:13 Tetapi jika kamu tidak mau mendengarkan suara TUHAN, Allahmu, dengan mengatakan: Kami tidak mau tinggal di negeri ini!,
42:14 Saying, No; but we will go into the land of Egypt, where we shall see no war, nor hear the sound of the trumpet, nor have hunger of bread; and there will we dwell:
42:14 sebab pikirmu: Tidak! Kami mau pergi ke negeri Mesir, di mana kami tidak akan mengalami pertempuran, tidak akan mendengar bunyi sangkakala dan tidak akan menderita kelaparan; di sanalah kami akan tinggal!,
42:15 And now therefore hear the word of the LORD, all of you remnant of Judah; Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; If all of you wholly set your faces to enter into Egypt, and go to sojourn there;
42:15 maka dengarkanlah sekarang firman Allah, hai sisa Yehuda: Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Jika kamu sungguh-sungguh berniat hendak pergi ke Mesir, dan memang kamu pergi dan tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana,
42:16 Then it shall come to pass, that the sword, which all of you feared, shall overtake you there in the land of Egypt, and the famine, whereof all of you were afraid, shall follow close after you there in Egypt; and there all of you shall die.
42:16 maka pedang yang kamu takuti itu akan menimpa kamu di negeri Mesir, dan kelaparan yang kamu gentarkan itu tidak putus-putusnya mengejar-ngejar kamu di Mesir, sampai kamu mati di sana.
42:17 So shall it be with all the men that set their faces to go into Egypt to sojourn there; they shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence: and none of them shall remain or escape from the evil that I will bring upon them.
42:17 Semua orang, yang berniat hendak pergi ke Mesir untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana, akan mati karena pedang, kelaparan dan penyakit sampar; seorangpun dari mereka tidak ada yang terlepas atau terluput dari malapetaka yang Kudatangkan atas mereka.
42:18 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; As mine anger and my fury has been poured forth upon the inhabitants of Jerusalem; so shall my fury be poured forth upon you, when all of you shall enter into Egypt: and all of you shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach; and all of you shall see this place no more.
42:18 Sungguh, beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Seperti tercurahnya murka-Ku dan kehangatan amarah-Ku ke atas penduduk Yerusalem, demikianlah akan tercurah kehangatanamarah-Ku ke atas kamu, apabilakamu pergi ke Mesir. Kamu akan menjadi kutuk, kengerian, kutukan dan aib; kamu tidak akan melihat tempat ini lagi.
42:19 The LORD has said concerning you, O all of you remnant of Judah; Go all of you not into Egypt: know certainly that I have admonished you this day.
42:19 TUHAN telah berfirman kepadamu, hai sisa Yehuda: Janganlah pergi ke Mesir! Camkanlah sungguh-sungguh, bahwa aku memperingatkan kamu pada hari ini!
42:20 For all of you dissembled in your hearts, when all of you sent me unto the LORD your God, saying, Pray for us unto the LORD our God; and according unto all that the LORD our God shall say, so declare unto us, and we will do it.
42:20 Kamu telah menipu dirimu dan membahayakan nyawamu, ketika kamu mengutus aku kepada TUHAN, Allahmu, dengan berkata: Berdoalah untuk kami kepada TUHAN, Allah kita, dan beritahukanlah dengan tepat kepada kami apa yang difirmankan TUHAN, Allah kita, supaya kami melakukannya!
42:21 And now I have this day declared it to you; but all of you have not obeyed the voice of the LORD your God, nor any thing for the which he has sent me unto you.
42:21 Tetapi, sekalipun aku memberitahukannya kepadamu pada hari ini, kamu tidak mendengarkan suara TUHAN, Allahmu, yaitu tidak menuruti segala sesuatu yang disuruh-Nya kusampaikan kepadamu.
42:22 Now therefore know certainly that all of you shall die by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence, in the place where all of you desire to go and to sojourn.
42:22 Oleh sebab itu, camkanlah sungguh-sungguh, bahwa kamu akan mati karena pedang, kelaparan dan penyakit sampar di tempat yang kamu rindukan untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana."
43:1 And it came to pass, that when Jeremiah had made an end of speaking unto all the people all the words of the LORD their God, for which the LORD their God had sent him to them, even all these words,
43:1 Ketika Yeremia selesai mengatakan kepada seluruh rakyat segala firman TUHAN, Allah mereka, yang disuruh TUHAN, Allah mereka, disampaikannya kepada mereka, yaitu segala firman yang tersebut di atas,
43:2 Then spoke Azariah the son of Hoshaiah, and Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the proud men, saying unto Jeremiah, You speak falsely: the LORD our God has not sent you to say, Go not into Egypt to sojourn there:
43:2 maka berkatalah Azarya bin Hosaya dan Yohanan bin Kareah serta semua orang congkak itu kepada Yeremia: "Engkau berkata bohong! TUHAN, Allah kita, tidak mengutus engkau untuk berkata: Janganlah pergi ke Mesir untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana,
43:3 But Baruch the son of Neriah sets you on against us, in order to deliver us into the hand of the Chaldeans, that they might put us to death, and carry us away captives into Babylon.
43:3 tetapi Barukh bin Neria menghasut engkau terhadap kami dengan maksud untuk menyerahkan kami ke dalam tangan orang-orang Kasdim, supaya mereka membunuh kami dan mengangkut kami ke dalam pembuangan ke Babel."
43:4 So Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, and all the people, obeyed not the voice of the LORD, to dwell in the land of Judah.
43:4 Demikianlah Yohanan bin Kareah dan semua perwira tentara serta seluruh rakyat tidak mau mendengarkan suara TUHAN untuk tinggal di tanah Yehuda.
43:5 But Johanan the son of Kareah, and all the captains of the forces, took all the remnant of Judah, that were returned from all nations, where they had been driven, to dwell in the land of Judah;
43:5 Lalu Yohanan bin Kareah dan semua perwira tentara itu mengumpulkan seluruh sisa Yehuda, yakni semua orang yang telah kembali dari antara segala bangsa, ke mana mereka telah berserak-serak, untuk menetap di tanah Yehuda,
43:6 Even men, and women, and children, and the king's daughters, and every person that Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard had left with Gedaliah the son of Ahikam the son of Shaphan, and Jeremiah the prophet, and Baruch the son of Neriah.
43:6 laki-laki, perempuan, anak-anak, puteri-puteri raja dan setiap orang yang telah dibiarkan Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, pada Gedalya bin Ahikam bin Safan; juga nabi Yeremia dan Barukh bin Neria.
43:7 So they came into the land of Egypt: for they obeyed not the voice of the LORD: thus came they even to Tahpanhes.
43:7 Lalu mereka pergi ke tanah Mesir, sebab mereka tidak mau mendengarkan suara TUHAN. Maka sampailah mereka di Tahpanhes.
43:8 Then came the word of the LORD unto Jeremiah in Tahpanhes, saying,
43:8 Kemudian datanglah firman TUHAN kepada Yeremia di Tahpanhes, bunyinya:
43:9 Take great stones in yours hand, and hide them in the clay in the brick-kiln, which is at the entry of Pharaoh's house in Tahpanhes, in the sight of the men of Judah;
43:9 "Ambillah di tanganmu batu-batu besar dan sembunyikanlah itu di tanah liat dekat pintu masuk istana Firaun di Tahpanhes di hadapan mata orang-orang Yehuda itu,
43:10 And say unto them, Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will send and take Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon, my servant, and will set his throne upon these stones that I have hid; and he shall spread his royal pavilion over them.
43:10 lalu katakanlah kepada mereka: Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Sesungguhnya, Aku mengutus orang untuk menjemput Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, hamba-Ku itu, supaya ia mendirikan takhtanya di atas batu-batu yang telah Kusuruh sembunyikan ini, dan membentangkan permadani kebesarannya di atasnya.
43:11 And when he comes, he shall strike the land of Egypt, and deliver such as are for death to death; and such as are for captivity to captivity; and such as are for the sword to the sword.
43:11 Dan apabila ia datang, ia akan memukul tanah Mesir: Yang ke maut, ke mautlah! Yang ke tawanan, ke tawananlah! Yang ke pedang, ke pedanglah!
43:12 And I will kindle a fire in the houses of the gods of Egypt; and he shall burn them, and carry them away captives: and he shall array himself with the land of Egypt, as a shepherd puts on his garment; and he shall go forth from thence in peace.
43:12 Ia akan menyalakan api di kuil-kuil para allah Mesir dan akan membakar atau mengangkutnya sebagai tawanan. Dan ia akan membersihkan tanah Mesir dari kutu-kutu seperti seorang gembala membersihkan pakaiannya dari kutu-kutu, kemudian ia akan pergi dari sana tanpa gangguan.
43:13 He shall break also the images of Bethshemesh, that is in the land of Egypt; and the houses of the gods of the Egyptians shall he burn with fire.
43:13 Ia akan memecahkan tugu-tugu berhala Bet-Syemes yang ada di Mesir dan akan menghanguskan kuil para allah Mesir itu dengan api."
44:1 The word that came to Jeremiah concerning all the Jews which dwell in the land of Egypt, which dwell at Migdol, and at Tahpanhes, and at Noph, and in the country of Pathros, saying,
44:1 Firman yang datang kepada Yeremia untuk semua orang Yehuda yang diam di tanah Mesir, di Migdol, di Tahpanhes, di Memfis dan di tanah Patros:
44:2 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; All of you have seen all the evil that I have brought upon Jerusalem, and upon all the cities of Judah; and, behold, this day they are a desolation, and no man dwells therein,
44:2 "Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Kamu telah mengalami segenap malapetaka yang telah Kudatangkan atas Yerusalem dan atas segala kota Yehuda; sungguh, semuanya itu kini sudah menjadi reruntuhan dan tidak ada seorangpun diam di sana.
44:3 Because of their wickedness which they have committed to provoke me to anger, in that they went to burn incense, and to serve other gods, whom they knew not, neither they, all of you, nor your fathers.
44:3 Itu disebabkan oleh kejahatan yang telah mereka lakukan untuk menimbulkan sakit hati-Ku, yakni mereka pergi membakar korban dan beribadah kepada allah lain yang tidak dikenal oleh mereka sendiri, oleh kamu atau oleh nenek moyangmu.
44:4 Nevertheless I sent unto you all my servants the prophets, rising early and sending them, saying, Oh, do not this abominable thing that I hate.
44:4 Terus-menerus Aku telah mengutus kepadamu semua hamba-Ku, para nabi, dengan mengatakan: Janganlah hendaknya kamu melakukan kejijikan yang Aku benci ini!
44:5 But they hearkened not, nor inclined their ear to turn from their wickedness, to burn no incense unto other gods.
44:5 Tetapi mereka tidak mau mendengarkan dan tidak mau memperhatikan supaya berbalik dari kejahatan mereka dan tidak membakar korban lagi kepada allah lain.
44:6 Wherefore my fury and mine anger was poured forth, and was kindled in the cities of Judah and in the streets of Jerusalem; and they are wasted and desolate, as at this day.
44:6 Sebab itu kehangatan amarah-Ku dan murka-Ku telah tercurah dan membakar kota-kota Yehuda dan jalan-jalan Yerusalem, sehingga menjadi reruntuhan dan tempat tandus, seperti yang ternyata sekarang ini.
44:7 Therefore now thus says the LORD, the God of hosts, the God of Israel; Wherefore commit all of you this great evil against your souls, to cut off from you man and woman, child and nursing infant, out of Judah, to leave you none to remain;
44:7 Maka sekarang, beginilah firman TUHAN, Allah semesta alam, Allah Israel: Mengapakah kamu mendatangkan celaka besar kepada dirimu sendiri? Kamu mau melenyapkan laki-laki, perempuan, anak-anak dan bayi dari Yehuda dengan tidak meninggalkan sisa apapun?
44:8 In that all of you provoke me unto wrath with the works of your hands, burning incense unto other gods in the land of Egypt, where all of you be gone to dwell, that all of you might cut yourselves off, and that all of you might be a curse and a reproach among all the nations of the earth?
44:8 Mengapa kamu mau menimbulkan sakit hati-Ku dengan perbuatan tanganmu, yakni membakar korban kepada allah lain di tanah Mesir yang kamu masuki untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana? Mengapa kamu mau menjadi kutuk dan aib di antara segala bangsa di bumi?
44:9 Have all of you forgotten the wickedness of your fathers, and the wickedness of the kings of Judah, and the wickedness of their wives, and your own wickedness, and the wickedness of your wives, which they have committed in the land of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem?
44:9 Sudah lupakah kamu kepada kejahatan nenek moyangmu, kejahatan raja-raja Yehuda, kejahatan para pemuka mereka, kejahatanmu sendiri dan kejahatan isteri-isterimu yang dilakukan mereka di tanah Yehuda dan di jalan-jalan Yerusalem?
44:10 They are not humbled even unto this day, neither have they feared, nor walked in my law, nor in my statutes, that I set before you and before your fathers.
44:10 Mereka tidak remuk hati sampai kepada hari ini, mereka tidak takut dan tidak mengikuti Taurat-Ku dan ketetapan-Ku yang telah Kuberikan kepadamu dan kepada nenek moyangmu.
44:11 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will set my face against you for evil, and to cut off all Judah.
44:11 Sebab itu beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Sesungguhnya, Aku mau menujukan wajah-Ku terhadap kamu untuk kecelakaanmu, yakni Aku mau melenyapkan segenap orang Yehuda.
44:12 And I will take the remnant of Judah, that have set their faces to go into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, and they shall all be consumed, and fall in the land of Egypt; they shall even be consumed by the sword and by the famine: they shall die, from the least even unto the greatest, by the sword and by the famine: and they shall be an execration, and an astonishment, and a curse, and a reproach.
44:12 Aku mau mencabut sisa Yehuda yang berniat hendak pergi ke tanah Mesir untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana; mereka semuanya akan habis mati di tanah Mesir; mereka akanrebah mati karena pedangdan akan habis mati karena kelaparan, dari yang kecil sampai kepada yang besar; mereka akan mati karena pedang dan karena kelaparan dan mereka akan menjadi kutuk, kengerian, kutukan dan aib.
44:13 For I will punish them that dwell in the land of Egypt, as I have punished Jerusalem, by the sword, by the famine, and by the pestilence:
44:13 Aku mau menghukum mereka yang diam di tanah Mesir, sama seperti Aku telah menghukum Yerusalem, yaitu dengan pedang, dengan kelaparan dan dengan penyakit sampar,
44:14 So that none of the remnant of Judah, which are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall escape or remain, that they should return into the land of Judah, to the which they have a desire to return to dwell there: for none shall return but such as shall escape.
44:14 sehingga dari sisa Yehuda, yang telah pergi ke tanah Mesir untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana, tidak ada seorangpun yang terluput atau terlepas untuk kembali ke tanah Yehuda, ke mana hati mereka sangat rindu untuk diam di sana lagi; sungguh, mereka tidak akan kembali, kecuali beberapa orang pengungsi."
44:15 Then all the men which knew that their wives had burned incense unto other gods, and all the women that stood by, a great multitude, even all the people that dwelt in the land of Egypt, in Pathros, answered Jeremiah, saying,

44:16 As for the word that you have spoken unto us in the name of the LORD, we will not hearken unto you.
44:16 "Mengenai apa yang kaukatakan demi nama Allah kepada kami itu, kami tidak akan mendengarkan engkau,
44:17 But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goes forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.
44:17 tetapi kami akan terus melakukan segala apa yang kami ucapkan, yakni membakar korban kepada ratu sorga dan mempersembahkan korban curahan kepadanya seperti telah kami lakukan, kami sendiri dan nenek moyang kami dan raja-raja kami dan pemuka-pemuka kami di kota-kota Yehuda dan di jalan-jalan Yerusalem. Pada waktu itu kami mempunyai cukup makanan; kami merasa bahagia dan tidak mengalami penderitaan.
44:18 But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.
44:18 Tetapi sejak kami berhenti membakar korban dan mempersembahkan korban curahan kepada ratu sorga, maka kami kekurangan segala-galanya dan kami dihabiskan oleh pedang dan kelaparan."
44:19 And when we burned incense to the queen of heaven, and poured out drink offerings unto her, did we make her cakes to worship her, and pour out drink offerings unto her, without our men?

44:21 The incense that all of you burned in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, all of you, and your fathers, your kings, and your princes, and the people of the land, did not the LORD remember them, and came it not into his mind?
44:21 "Justru korban yang dibakar di kota-kota Yehuda dan di jalan-jalan Yerusalem oleh kamu sendiri, oleh nenek moyangmu, oleh raja-rajamu, oleh pemuka-pemukamu dan oleh rakyat negeri, tidakkah itu yang diingat TUHAN dan yang diperhatikan-Nya?
44:22 So that the LORD could no longer bear, because of the evil of your doings, and because of the abominations which all of you have committed; therefore is your land a desolation, and an astonishment, and a curse, without an inhabitant, as at this day.
44:22 TUHAN tidak tahan lagi melihat perbuatan-perbuatanmu yang jahat dan kejijikan yang kamu lakukan; oleh karena itu negerimupun telah menjadi reruntuhan, kengerian dan kutuk tanpa penduduk, seperti yang ternyata sekarang ini.
44:23 Because all of you have burned incense, and because all of you have sinned against the LORD, and have not obeyed the voice of the LORD, nor walked in his law, nor in his statutes, nor in his testimonies; therefore this evil is happened unto you, as at this day.
44:23 Kamu telah membakar korban dan kamu telah berdosa kepada TUHAN, tidak mendengarkan suara TUHAN dan tidak mengikuti Taurat-Nya, ketetapan-Nya dan peraturan-Nya, itulah sebabnya malapetaka ini menimpa kamu, seperti yang ternyata sekarang ini."
44:24 Moreover Jeremiah said unto all the people, and to all the women, Hear the word of the LORD, all Judah that are in the land of Egypt:
44:24 Kemudian berkatalah Yeremia kepada segenap rakyat dan kepada semua perempuan itu: "Dengarlah firman TUHAN, hai semua orang Yehuda yang ada di tanah Mesir.
44:25 Thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, saying; All of you and your wives have both spoken with your mouths, and fulfilled with your hand, saying, We will surely perform our vows that we have vowed, to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her: all of you will surely accomplish your vows, and surely perform your vows.
44:25 Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Kamu, laki-laki dan isteri-isterimu! Kamu telah memenuhi apa yang telah kamu ucapkan, yaitu: Kami akan menepati dengan baik nazar yang kami ucapkan untuk membakar korban dan mempersembahkan korban curahan kepada ratu sorga. Baiklah! Wujudkanlah dan tepatilah nazarmu dengan baik!
44:26 Therefore hear all of you the word of the LORD, all Judah that dwell in the land of Egypt; Behold, I have sworn by my great name, says the LORD, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Judah in all the land of Egypt, saying, The Lord GOD lives.
44:26 Maka dengarkanlah firman TUHAN, hai semua orang Yehuda yang diam di tanah Mesir: Sesungguhnya, Aku telah bersumpah demi nama-Ku yang besar--firman TUHAN--bahwa nama-Ku tidak akan diserukan lagi oleh seseorang Yehuda di segenap tanah Mesir, dengan berkata: Demi Tuhan ALLAH yang hidup!
44:27 Behold, I will watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Judah that are in the land of Egypt shall be consumed by the sword and by the famine, until there be an end of them.
44:27 Sesungguhnya Aku berjaga-jaga untuk kecelakaan mereka dan bukan untuk kebahagiaan mereka; setiap orang Yehuda yang ada di tanah Mesir akan dihabiskan oleh pedang dan oleh kelaparan sampai mereka punah sama sekali.
44:28 Yet a small number that escape the sword shall return out of the land of Egypt into the land of Judah, and all the remnant of Judah, that are gone into the land of Egypt to sojourn there, shall know whose words shall stand, mine, or their's.
44:28 Hanya beberapa orang yang terluput dari pedang--jumlahnya kecil--yang akan kembali dari tanah Mesir ke tanah Yehuda. Maka seluruh sisa Yehuda yang telah pergi ke Mesir untuk tinggal sebagai orang asing di sana akan mengetahui perkataan siapa yang terwujud, perkataan-Ku atau perkataan mereka.
44:29 And this shall be a sign unto you, says the LORD, that I will punish you in this place, that all of you may know that my words shall surely stand against you for evil:
44:29 Inilah tanda bagimu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Aku akan menghukum kamu di tempat ini, supaya kamu mengetahui bahwa perkataan-perkataan-Ku terhadap kamu akan sungguh-sungguh terwujud untuk kecelakaanmu.
44:30 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will give Pharaohhophra king of Egypt into the hand of his enemies, and into the hand of them that seek his life; as I gave Zedekiah king of Judah into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, his enemy, and that sought his life.
44:30 Beginilah firman TUHAN: Sesungguhnya, Aku menyerahkan Firaun, Hofra, raja Mesir, ke dalam tangan musuhnya dan ke dalam tangan orang-orang yang berusaha mencabut nyawanya, sama seperti Aku telah menyerahkan Zedekia, raja Yehuda, ke dalam tangan Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, musuhnya yang berusaha mencabut nyawanya."
45:1 The word that Jeremiah the prophet spoke unto Baruch the son of Neriah, when he had written these words in a book at the mouth of Jeremiah, in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah, saying,
45:1 Firman yang disampaikan oleh nabi Yeremia kepada Barukh bin Neria, waktu Barukh dalam tahun keempat pemerintahan Yoyakim bin Yosia, raja Yehuda, menuliskan segala firman tersebut dalam sebuah kitab langsung dari mulut Yeremia:
45:2 Thus says the LORD, the God of Israel, unto you, O Baruch:
45:2 "Beginilah firman TUHAN, Allah Israel, tentang engkau, hai Barukh!
45:3 You did say, Woe is me now! for the LORD has added grief to my sorrow; I fainted in my sighing, and I find no rest.
45:3 Oleh karena engkau telah berkata: Celakalah aku, sebab TUHAN telah menambahkan kedukaan kepada penderitaanku! Aku lesu karena keluh kesahku dan aku tidak mendapat ketenangan,
45:4 Thus shall you say unto him, The LORD says thus; Behold, that which I have built will I break down, and that which I have planted I will pluck up, even this whole land.
45:4 maka beginilah firman TUHAN: Sesungguhnya, apa yang Kubangun akan Kuruntuhkan, dan apa yang Kutanam akan Kucabut, bahkan sekalipun seluruh negeri!
45:5 And seek you great things for yourself? seek them not: for, behold, I will bring evil upon all flesh, says the LORD: but your life will I give unto you for a prey in all places where you go.
45:5 Masakan engkau mencari hal-hal yang besar bagimu sendiri? Janganlah mencarinya! Sebab, sesungguhnya, Aku mendatangkan malapetaka atas segala makhluk, demikianlah firman TUHAN, tetapi kepadamu akan Kuberikan nyawamu sebagai jarahan di segala tempat ke mana engkau pergi."
46:1 The word of the LORD which came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Gentiles;
46:1 Firman TUHAN yang datang kepada nabi Yeremia tentang bangsa-bangsa.
46:2 Against Egypt, against the army of Pharaohnecho king of Egypt, which was by the river Euphrates in Carchemish, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon stroke in the fourth year of Jehoiakim the son of Josiah king of Judah.
46:2 Mengenai Mesir. Terhadap tentara Firaun Nekho, raja Mesir, yang berkemah di tepi sungai Efrat dekat Karkemis dan yang dipukul kalah oleh Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dalam tahun yang keempat pemerintahan Yoyakim bin Yosia, raja Yehuda:
46:3 Order all of you the buckler and shield, and draw near to battle.

46:4 Harness the horses; and get up, all of you horsemen, and stand forth with your helmets; polish the spears, and put on the protective armor.

46:5 Wherefore have I seen them dismayed and turned away back? and their mighty ones are beaten down, and are fled swiftly, and look not back: for fear was round about, says the LORD.
46:5 Mengapa kulihat mereka terkejut, mundur ke belakang? Pahlawan-pahlawan mereka terpukul kalah, lari kocar-kacir, tanpa menoleh; kedahsyatan dari segala jurusan!, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
46:6 Let not the swift flee away, nor the mighty man escape; they shall stumble, and fall toward the north by the river Euphrates.
46:6 Orang yang tangkas tidak dapat melarikan diri, pahlawan tidak dapat meluputkan diri; di utara, di tepi sungai Efratlah mereka tersandung dan rebah.
46:7 Who is this that comes up as a flood, whose waters are moved as the rivers?
46:7 Siapakah ini yang meluas seperti sungai Nil dan yang airnya bergelora seperti sungai-sungai?
46:8 Egypt rises up like a flood, and his waters are moved like the rivers; and he says, I will go up, and will cover the earth; I will destroy the city and the inhabitants thereof.
46:8 Itulah Mesir yang meluas seperti sungai Nil, dan yang airnya bergelora seperti sungai-sungai. Ia berkata: Aku mau meluas menutupi bumi, membinasakan kota dan penduduknya.
46:9 Come up, all of you horses; and rage, all of you chariots; and let the mighty men come forth; the Ethiopians and the Libyans, that handle the shield; and the Lydians, that handle and bend the bow.
46:9 Majulah, hai kuda-kuda! Melajulah, hai kereta-kereta! Majulah berperang, hai pahlawan-pahlawan, hai kamu orang Etiopia dan orang Put yang memegang perisai, dan orang Lidia yang membentur busur!
46:10 For this is the day of the Lord GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts has a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates.
46:10 Hari itu ialah hari Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam, hari pembalasan untuk melakukan pembalasan kepada para lawan-Nya. Pedang akan makan sampai kenyang, dan akan puas minum darah mereka. Sebab Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam mengadakan korban penyembelihan di tanah utara, dekat sungai Efrat.
46:11 Go up into Gilead, and take balm, O virgin, the daughter of Egypt: in vain shall you use many medicines; for you shall not be cured.
46:11 Pergilah ke Gilead mengambil balsam, hai anak dara, puteri Mesir! Sia-sia engkau memakai banyak obat, kesembuhan tidak akan kaudapat!
46:12 The nations have heard of your shame, and your cry has filled the land: for the mighty man has stumbled against the mighty, and they are fallen both together.
46:12 Bangsa-bangsa telah mendengar tentang celamu, bumi telah penuh dengan teriakmu, sebab pahlawan yang satu tersandung kepada pahlawan yang lain, keduanya rebah bersama-sama."
46:13 The word that the LORD spoke to Jeremiah the prophet, how Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon should come and strike the land of Egypt.
46:13 Firman yang disampaikan TUHAN kepada nabi Yeremia tentang datangnya Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, untuk memukul kalah tanah Mesir:
46:14 Declare all of you in Egypt, and publish in Migdol, and publish in Noph and in Tahpanhes: say all of you, Stand fast, and prepare you; for the sword shall devour round about you.
46:14 "Beritahukanlah di Mesir, dan kabarkanlah di Migdol! Kabarkanlah di Memfis dan di Tahpanhes! Katakanlah: Ambillah tempat dan bersiaplah, sebab sekitarmu habis dimakan pedang!
46:15 Why are your valiant men swept away? they stood not, because the LORD did drive them.
46:15 Mengapa Apis melarikan diri, tidakkah sanggup sapi jantanmu bertahan? Sungguh, TUHAN telah menundukkan dia!
46:16 He made many to fall, yea, one fell upon another: and they said, Arise, and let us go again to our own people, and to the land of our nativity, from the oppressing sword.
46:16 Banyak dari padamu yang tersandung dan rebah, mereka berkata seorang kepada yang lain: Marilah kita pulang kepada bangsa kita, ke negeri kelahiran kita, untuk mengelakkan pedang yang merajalela ini!
46:17 They did cry there, Pharaoh king of Egypt is but a noise; he has passed the time appointed.
46:17 Sebutlah nama Firaun, raja Mesir: Tukang ribut yang membiarkan kesempatan berlalu!
46:18 As I live, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts, Surely as Tabor is among the mountains, and as Carmel by the sea, so shall he comes.
46:18 Demi Aku yang hidup, demikianlah firman Raja yang nama-Nya TUHAN semesta alam, ia akan datang seperti gunung Tabor yang menjulang di antara gunung-gunung lain, seperti gunung Karmel yang menganjur ke laut.
46:19 O you daughter dwelling in Egypt, furnish yourself to go into captivity: for Noph shall be waste and desolate without an inhabitant.
46:19 Siapkanlah bagimu barang-barang untuk perjalananmu ke pembuangan, hai puteri Mesir yang sudah lama menetap! Sebab Memfis akan menjadi sunyi sepi, dijadikan reruntuhan yang tidak berpenduduk lagi.
46:20 Egypt is like a very fair heifer, but destruction comes; it comes out of the north.
46:20 Mesir adalah lembu muda yang elok, tetapi seekor pikat dari utara mendatangi dia.
46:21 Also her hired men are in the midst of her like fatted bullocks; for they also are turned back, and are fled away together: they did not stand, because the day of their calamity was come upon them, and the time of their visitation.

46:22 The voice thereof shall go like a serpent; for they shall march with an army, and come against her with axes, as hewers of wood.
46:22 Suaranya seperti ular yang mendesis, apabila mereka berjalan maju dengan bertentara; mereka mendatangi dia dengan membawa kapak seperti orang-orang penebang pohon.
46:23 They shall cut down her forest, says the LORD, though it cannot be searched; because they are more than the grasshoppers, and are innumerable.
46:23 Mereka menebang hutannya, demikianlah firman TUHAN, sekalipun itu tidak dapat dimasuki; sebab lebih banyak mereka dari pada belalang, tidak terbilang jumlahnya.
46:24 The daughter of Egypt shall be confounded; she shall be delivered into the hand of the people of the north.
46:24 Puteri Mesir menjadi malu, diserahkan ke dalam tangan bangsa dari utara."
46:25 The LORD of hosts, the God of Israel, says; Behold, I will punish the multitude of No, and Pharaoh, and Egypt, with their gods, and their kings; even Pharaoh, and all them that trust in him:
46:25 TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel, berfirman: "Sesungguhnya, Aku mendatangkan hukuman atas dewa Amon dari Tebe, atas Firaun beserta Mesir, dewa-dewanya dan raja-rajanya, yakni atas Firaun beserta orang-orang yang percaya kepadanya.
46:26 And I will deliver them into the hand of those that seek their lives, and into the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, and into the hand of his servants: and afterward it shall be inhabited, as in the days of old, says the LORD.
46:26 Aku akan menyerahkan mereka ke dalam tangan orang-orang yang berusaha mencabut nyawa mereka, yakni ke dalam tangan Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dan para pegawainya. Tetapi sesudahnya negeri itu akan didiami seperti dalam zaman purbakala, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
46:27 But fear not you, O my servant Jacob, and be not dismayed, O Israel: for, behold, I will save you from far off, and your seed from the land of their captivity; and Jacob shall return, and be in rest and at ease, and none shall make him afraid.
46:27 Maka engkau, janganlah takut, hai hamba-Ku Yakub, janganlah gentar, hai Israel! Sebab sesungguhnya, Aku menyelamatkan engkau dari tempat jauh dan keturunanmu dari negeri pembuangan mereka. Yakub akan kembali dan hidup tenang dan aman, dengan tidak ada yang mengejutkan.
46:28 Fear you not, O Jacob my servant, says the LORD: for I am with you; for I will make a full end of all the nations where I have driven you: but I will not make a full end of you, but correct you in measure; yet will I not leave you wholly unpunished.
46:28 Maka engkau, janganlah takut, hai hamba-Ku Yakub, demikianlah firman TUHAN, sebab Aku menyertai engkau: segala bangsa yang ke antaranya engkau Kuceraiberaikan akan Kuhabiskan, tetapi engkau ini tidak akan Kuhabiskan. Aku akan menghajar engkau menurut hukum, tetapi Aku sama sekali tidak memandang engkau tak bersalah."
47:1 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against the Philistines, before that Pharaoh stroke Gaza.
47:1 Firman TUHAN yang datang kepada nabi Yeremia mengenai orang Filistin, sebelum Firaun mengalahkan Gaza.
47:2 Thus says the LORD; Behold, waters rise up out of the north, and shall be an overflowing flood, and shall overflow the land, and all that is therein; the city, and them that dwell therein: then the men shall cry, and all the inhabitants of the land shall wail.
47:2 "Beginilah firman TUHAN: Lihat, air yang meluas mengamuk dari utara menjadi sungai yang membanjir, membanjiri negeri serta isinya, kota serta penduduknya. Manusia akan berteriak, dan seluruh penduduk negeri akan meratap,
47:3 At the noise of the stamping of the hoofs of his strong horses, at the rushing of his chariots, and at the rumbling of his wheels, the fathers shall not look back to their children for feebleness of hands;
47:3 mendengar bunyi derap kuku kudanya, mendengar derak-derik keretanya, kertak-kertuk rodanya. Para ayah tidak lagi berpaling menoleh kepada anak-anak, sebab tangan mereka sudah lemas,
47:4 Because of the day that comes to spoil all the Philistines, and to cut off from Tyrus and Zidon every helper that remains: for the LORD will spoil the Philistines, the remnant of the country of Caphtor.
47:4 oleh karena telah tiba harinya untuk membinasakan semua orang Filistin, dan melenyapkan bagi Tirus dan Sidon setiap penolong yang masih tinggal. Sungguh, TUHAN akan membinasakan orang Filistin, yakni sisa orang yang datang dari pulau Kaftor.
47:5 Baldness has come upon Gaza; Ashkelon is cut off with the remnant of their valley: how long will you cut yourself?
47:5 Gaza telah menjadi gundul, Askelon telah menjadi bungkam; hai Asdod, sisa orang Enak, berapa lama lagi engkau menoreh-noreh diri?
47:6 O you sword of the LORD, how long will it be before you be quiet? put up yourself into your scabbard, rest, and be still.
47:6 Ah, pedang TUHAN, berapa lama lagi baru engkau berhenti? Masuklah kembali ke dalam sarungmu, jadilah tenang dan beristirahatlah!
47:7 How can it be quiet, seeing the LORD has given it a charge against Ashkelon, and against the sea shore? there has he appointed it.
47:7 Tetapi bagaimana ia dapat berhenti? Bukankah TUHAN memerintahkannya? Ke Askelon dan ke tepi pantai laut, ke sanalah Ia menyuruhnya!"
48:1 Against Moab thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Woe unto Nebo! for it is spoiled: Kiriathaim is confounded and taken: Misgab is confounded and dismayed.
48:1 Mengenai Moab. Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: "Celakalah Nebo, sebab kota itu sudah dibinasakan! Kiryataim telah menjadi malu dan direbut! Kota benteng itu menjadi malu dan terkejut:
48:2 There shall be no more praise of Moab: in Heshbon they have devised evil against it; come, and let us cut it off from being a nation. Also you shall be cut down, O Madmen; the sword shall pursue you.
48:2 lenyaplah sudah kemegahan Moab! Di Hesybon orang merencanakan malapetaka terhadapnya: Marilah kita melenyapkannya sebagai bangsa! Juga engkau, hai Madmen, akan dibungkamkan, engkau akan dikejar-kejar pedang.
48:3 A voice of crying shall be from Horonaim, spoiling and great destruction.
48:3 Dengar! Teriakan dari Horonaim: Kebinasaan! Kehancuran besar!
48:4 Moab is destroyed; her little ones have caused a cry to be heard.
48:4 Moab telah hancur lebur! kedengaran orang berteriak sampai ke Zoar.
48:5 For in the going up of Luhith continual weeping shall go up; for in the going down of Horonaim the enemies have heard a cry of destruction.
48:5 Sungguh, orang mendaki pendakian Luhit sambil menangis. Sungguh, di jalan turun ke Horonaim orang mendengar teriak karena ditimpa bencana.
48:6 Flee, save your lives, and be like the heath in the wilderness.
48:6 Larilah, selamatkanlah nyawamu: jadilah seperti keledai liar di padang gurun!
48:7 For because you have trusted in your works and in your treasures, you shall also be taken: and Chemosh shall go forth into captivity with his priests and his princes together.
48:7 Sungguh, oleh karena engkau percaya kepada bentengmu dan perbendaharaanmu, maka engkaupun akan direbut; Kamos akan pergi ke dalam pembuangan, bersama-sama dengan para imam dan pemukanya.
48:8 And the spoiler shall come upon every city, and no city shall escape: the valley also shall perish, and the plain shall be destroyed, as the LORD has spoken.
48:8 Pembinasa akan datang ke setiap kota, tidak ada kota yang terluput! Lembah akan binasa, tanah datar habis musnah, seperti yang difirmankan TUHAN.
48:9 Give wings unto Moab, that it may flee and get away: for the cities thereof shall be desolate, without any to dwell therein.
48:9 Berikanlah sayap kepada Moab, supaya ia lari terbang; kota-kotanya akan menjadi sunyi sepi, tidak ada lagi penduduk di dalamnya.
48:10 Cursed be he that does the work of the LORD deceitfully, and cursed be he that keeps back his sword from blood.
48:10 Terkutuklah orang yang melaksanakan pekerjaan TUHAN dengan lalai, dan terkutuklah orang yang menghambat pedang-Nya dari penumpahan darah!
48:11 Moab has been at ease from his youth, and he has settled on his sediments of wine, and has not been emptied from vessel to vessel, neither has he gone into captivity: therefore his taste remained in him, and his scent is not changed.
48:11 Moab hidup aman dari sejak masa mudanya, dia hidup tenang seperti anggur di atas endapannya, tidak dituangkan dari tempayan yang satu ke tempayan yang lain, tidak pernah masuk ke dalam pembuangan; sebab itu rasanya tetap padanya, dan baunya tidak berubah.
48:12 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will send unto him wanderers, that shall cause him to wander, and shall empty his vessels, and break their bottles.
48:12 Sebab itu, sesungguhnya, waktunya akan datang, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Aku akan mengirim kepadanya tukang-tukang yang akan menuangkannya, mencurahkan tempayan-tempayannya dan memecahkan buyung-buyungnya.
48:13 And Moab shall be ashamed of Chemosh, as the house of Israel was ashamed of Bethel their confidence.
48:13 Maka Moab akan menjadi malu oleh karena dewa Kamos, sama seperti kaum Israel menjadi malu oleh karena Betel, kepercayaan mereka.
48:14 How say all of you, We are mighty and strong men for the war?
48:14 Bagaimanakah kamu berani berkata: Kami adalah pahlawan-pahlawan, orang-orang gagah perkasa untuk berperang!
48:15 Moab is spoiled, and gone up out of her cities, and his chosen young men are gone down to the slaughter, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
48:15 Pembinasa Moab telah maju menyerang dia, teruna-terunanya yang pilihan telah turun ke pembantaian, demikianlah firman Raja yang nama-Nya TUHAN semesta alam.
48:16 The calamity of Moab is near to come, and his affliction hastes fast.
48:16 Bencana Moab sudah hampir datang, malapetakanya sangat segera sampai.
48:17 All you that are about him, lament for him; and all you that know his name, say, How is the strong staff broken, and the beautiful rod!
48:17 Ratapilah dia, hai semua yang ada di sekitarnya, hai semua yang mengenal namanya! Katakanlah: Sungguh, sudah patah tampuk kekuasaan, tongkat keagungan itu!
48:18 You daughter that do inhabit Dibon, come down from your glory, and sit in thirst; for the spoiler of Moab shall come upon you, and he shall destroy your strong holds.
48:18 Turunlah dari kemuliaanmu dan duduklah di atas kotoran, hai puteri Dibon yang sudah lama menetap! Sebab pembinasa Moab sudah maju menyerbu engkau, memusnahkan tempat-tempatmu yang berkubu.
48:19 O inhabitant of Aroer, stand by the way, and monitor; ask him that flees, and her that escapes, and say, What is done?
48:19 Berdirilah di tepi jalan dan tinjaulah, hai penduduk Aroer! Tanyakanlah kepada orang yang lari dan yang terluput, katakanlah: Apakah yang telah terjadi?
48:20 Moab is confounded; for it is broken down: wail and cry; tell all of you it in Arnon, that Moab is spoiled,
48:20 Moab sudah malu, karena ia terkejut! Merataplah dan berteriaklah, beritahukanlah di sungai Arnon: Sungguh, Moab sudah binasa!
48:21 And judgment has come upon the plain country; upon Holon, and upon Jahazah, and upon Mephaath,
48:21 Penghukuman telah berlaku atas daerah dataran tinggi, atas kota-kota Holon, Yahas, Mefaat,
48:22 And upon Dibon, and upon Nebo, and upon Bethdiblathaim,
48:22 Dibon, Nebo, Bet-Diblataim,
48:23 And upon Kiriathaim, and upon Bethgamul, and upon Bethmeon,
48:23 Kiryataim, Bet-Gamul, Bet-Meon,
48:24 And upon Kerioth, and upon Bozrah, and upon all the cities of the land of Moab, far or near.
48:24 Keriot, Bozra dan atas segala kota negeri Moab yang jauh dan yang dekat.
48:25 The horn of Moab is cut off, and his arm is broken, says the LORD.
48:25 Telah patah tanduk kekuatan Moab, dan lengan kekuasaannya telah pecah! demikianlah firman TUHAN.
48:26 Make all of you him drunken: for he magnified himself against the LORD: Moab also shall wallow in his vomit, and he also shall be in derision.
48:26 Buatlah dia mabuk, sebab dia membesarkan diri terhadap TUHAN! Moab akan berguling-guling dalam muntahnya, dan ia sendiripun akan menjadi tertawaan orang.
48:27 For was not Israel a derision unto you? was he found among thieves? for since you spoke of him, you skipped for joy.
48:27 Apakah bukan Israel tadinya yang menjadi tertawaan bagimu? Apakah dia terdapat di antara pencuri-pencuri, sehingga engkau menggeleng-gelengkan kepala, setiap kali engkau berbicara tentang dia?
48:28 O all of you that dwell in Moab, leave the cities, and dwell in the rock, and be like the dove that makes her nest in the sides of the hole's mouth.
48:28 Tinggalkanlah kota-kota dan diamlah di bukit batu, hai penduduk Moab! Jadilah seperti burung merpati yang bersarang di dinding mulut liang.
48:29 We have heard the pride of Moab, (he is exceeding proud) his loftiness, and his arrogancy, and his pride, and the haughtiness of his heart.
48:29 Kami telah mendengar tentang keangkuhan Moab, alangkah angkuhnya dia, tentang kesombongannya, keangkuhannya dan kecongkakannya, tentang tinggi hatinya.
48:30 I know his wrath, says the LORD; but it shall not be so; his lies shall not so effect it.
48:30 Aku ini kenal kepongahannya, demikianlah firman TUHAN, tidak benar cakapnya, dan tidak benar perilakunya.
48:31 Therefore will I wail for Moab, and I will cry out for all Moab; mine heart shall mourn for the men of Kirheres.
48:31 Sebab itu aku akan meratap karena Moab, akan berteriak karena Moab seluruhnya, dan akan mengaduh karena orang-orang Kir-Heres!
48:32 O vine of Sibmah, I will weep for you with the weeping of Jazer: your plants are gone over the sea, they reach even to the sea of Jazer: the spoiler is fallen upon your summer fruits and upon your vintage.
48:32 Aku akan menangis karena engkau, lebih dari pada menangis karena Yaezer, hai pohon anggur Sibma! Ranting-rantingmu merambak sampai ke laut, meluas sampai ke Yaezer. Si pembinasa telah jatuh menimpa hasil musim kemaraumu dan panen buah anggurmu.
48:33 And joy and gladness is taken from the plentiful field, and from the land of Moab, and I have caused wine to fail from the winepresses: none shall tread with shouting; their shouting shall be no shouting.
48:33 Sukaria dan sorak-sorak telah lenyap dari kebun buah-buahan dan dari negeri Moab. Aku telah menjauhkan anggur dari tempat pemerasan; pengirik tidak ada lagi pengiriknya, pekik kegirangan tidak kedengaran lagi.
48:34 From the cry of Heshbon even unto Elealeh, and even unto Jahaz, have they uttered their voice, from Zoar even unto Horonaim, as an heifer of three years old: for the waters also of Nimrim shall be desolate.
48:34 Hesybon dan Eleale meraung-raung; orang memperdengarkan suaranya sampai ke Yahas, dari Zoar sampai Horonaim dan Eglat-Selisia; sebab air sungai Nimrim juga menjadi ketandusan.
48:35 Moreover I will cause to cease in Moab, says the LORD, him that offers in the high places, and him that burns incense to his gods.
48:35 Firman TUHAN: Aku akan menghentikan orang di Moab mempersembahkan korban bakaran di bukit pengorbanan dan mempersembahkan korban ukupan kepada allahnya.
48:36 Therefore mine heart shall sound for Moab like pipes, and mine heart shall sound like pipes for the men of Kirheres: because the riches that he has got are perished.
48:36 Sebab itu seperti hatiku terharu mendengar suling, begitulah hatiku terharu melihat keadaan Moab, dan hatiku terharu melihat keadaan orang-orang Kir-Heres; bukankah sudah hilang segala harta yang mereka tumpuk?
48:37 For every head shall be bald, and every beard clipped: upon all the hands shall be cuttings, and upon the loins sackcloth.
48:37 Sungguh, setiap kepala digundul dan setiap janggut dipotong, pada semua tangan ada toreh-torehan dan kain kabung dikenakan pada semua pinggang.
48:38 There shall be lamentation generally upon all the housetops of Moab, and in the streets thereof: for I have broken Moab like a vessel wherein is no pleasure, says the LORD.
48:38 Di atas segala sotoh Moab dan di tanah-tanah lapangnya hanya ada perkabungan belaka; --sungguh, Aku telah memecahkan Moab seperti tembikar, sehingga tidak ada orang yang menyukainya, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
48:39 They shall wail, saying, How is it broken down! how has Moab turned the back with shame! so shall Moab be a derision and a dismaying to all them about him.
48:39 Betapa terkejutnya dia! Betapa Moab menyembunyikan mukanya karena malu! Maka Moab telah menjadi tertawaan dan kekejutan bagi semua yang di sekitarnya.
48:40 For thus says the LORD; Behold, he shall fly as an eagle, and shall spread his wings over Moab.
48:40 Sebab beginilah firman TUHAN: Sesungguhnya, ia datang melayang seperti burung rajawali dan mengembangkan sayapnya ke atas Moab.
48:41 Kerioth is taken, and the strong holds are surprised, and the mighty men's hearts in Moab at that day shall be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
48:41 Kota-kota direbut, kubu-kubu pertahanan dirampas. Hati para pahlawan Moab pada waktu itu akan seperti hati perempuan yang sakit beranak.
48:42 And Moab shall be destroyed from being a people, because he has magnified himself against the LORD.
48:42 Moab akan musnah sebagai bangsa, sebab ia membesarkan diri terhadap TUHAN.
48:43 Fear, and the pit, and the snare, shall be upon you, O inhabitant of Moab, says the LORD.
48:43 Kejut dan pelubang dan jerat bagimu, hai penduduk Moab! demikianlah firman TUHAN.
48:44 He that flees from the fear shall fall into the pit; and he that gets up out of the pit shall be taken in the snare: for I will bring upon it, even upon Moab, the year of their visitation, says the LORD.
48:44 Yang lari dari kekejutan akan jatuh ke dalam pelubang, dan yang naik dari pelubang akan tertangkap dalam jerat. Sungguh, Aku mendatangkan semuanya ini atas Moab di tahun penghukuman atas mereka, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
48:45 They that fled stood under the shadow of Heshbon because of the force: but a fire shall come forth out of Heshbon, and a flame from the midst of Sihon, and shall devour the corner of Moab, and the crown of the head of the tumultuous ones.
48:45 Di naungan Hesybon orang-orang pelarian berhenti, kehabisan kekuatan; tetapi api keluar dari Hesybon, nyala api dari istana Sihon, yang memakan habis pelipis Moab dan batu kepala orang-orang ribut.
48:46 Woe be unto you, O Moab! the people of Chemosh perishes: for your sons are taken captives, and your daughters captives.

48:47 Yet will I bring again the captivity of Moab in the latter days, says the LORD. Thus far is the judgment of Moab.
48:47 Tetapi Aku akan memulihkan keadaan Moab di kemudian hari, demikianlah firman TUHAN." Sampai di sinilah firman penghukuman atas Moab.
49:1 Concerning the Ammonites, thus says the LORD; Has Israel no sons? has he no heir? why then does their king inherit Gad, and his people dwell in his cities?
49:1 Mengenai bani Amon. Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Tidak adakah anak Israel, tidak adakah ahli warisnya? Mengapakah dewa Milkom memiliki Gad, dan bangsanya mendiami kota-kotanya?
49:2 Therefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will cause an alarm of war to be heard in Rabbah of the Ammonites; and it shall be a desolate heap, and her daughters shall be burned with fire: then shall Israel be heir unto them that were his heirs, says the LORD.
49:2 Sebab itu, sesungguhnya, waktunya akan datang, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Aku akan memperdengarkan tempik sorak peperangan terhadap Raba bani Amon. Kota itu akan menjadi anak bukit yang tandus, dan kota-kota jajahannya akan dibakar dengan api; maka Israel akan memiliki orang-orang yang dahulu memilikinya, firman TUHAN.
49:3 Wail, O Heshbon, for Ai is spoiled: cry, all of you daughters of Rabbah, gird you with sackcloth; lament, and run back and forth by the hedges; for their king shall go into captivity, and his priests and his princes together.
49:3 Merataplah, hai Hesybon, sebab pembinasa telah maju menyerbu, berteriaklah, hai puteri-puteri Raba, kenakanlah kain kabung, berkabunglah, berjalan kelilinglah dengan luka toreh-torehan, sebab Milkom akan pergi ke dalam pembuangan bersama-sama dengan para imam dan pemuka-pemukanya.
49:4 Wherefore glory you in the valleys, your flowing valley, O backsliding daughter? that trusted in her treasures, saying, Who shall come unto me?
49:4 Betapa engkau memegahkan dirimu dengan lembahmu, hai puteri yang congkak, yang percaya akan harta bendanya dan yang berkata: Siapakah yang berani datang menyerang aku?
49:5 Behold, I will bring a fear upon you, says the Lord GOD of hosts, from all those that be about you; and all of you shall be driven out every man right forth; and none shall gather up him that wanders.
49:5 Sesungguhnya, Aku mendatangkan kekejutan atasmu demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam, dari segala tempat di sekitarmu, sehingga kamu bersorak-sorak, masing-masing ke arahnya sendiri, dan tidak ada yang mengumpulkan orang-orang yang mengembara itu.
49:6 And afterward I will bring again the captivity of the children of Ammon, says the LORD.
49:6 Tetapi sesudah itu Aku akan memulihkan keadaan bani Amon itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN."
49:7 Concerning Edom, thus says the LORD of hosts; Is wisdom no more in Teman? is counsel perished from the prudent? is their wisdom vanished?
49:7 Mengenai Edom. Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: "Tidak adakah lagi kebijaksanaan di Teman? Sudah hilangkah pertimbangan dari orang-orang yang berakal budi, sudah busukkah kebijaksanaan mereka?
49:8 Flee all of you, turn back, dwell deep, O inhabitants of Dedan; for I will bring the calamity of Esau upon him, the time that I will visit him.
49:8 Larilah cepat, bersembunyilah dalam liang-liang, hai penduduk Dedan! Sebab malapetaka akan Kudatangkan atas Esau, pada waktu Aku menghukum dia.
49:9 If grape-gatherers come to you, would they not leave some gleaning grapes? if thieves by night, they will destroy till they have enough.
49:9 Jika pemetik buah anggur datang kepadamu, mereka tidak akan meninggalkan sisa-sisa pemetikannya! Jika malam-malam pencuri datang kepadamu, mereka akan merusakkan sepuas-puasnya!
49:10 But I have made Esau bare, I have uncovered his secret places, and he shall not be able to hide himself: his seed is spoiled, and his brethren, and his neighbours, and he is not.
49:10 Tetapi Aku ini telah menelanjangi Esau, telah menyingkapkan tempat-tempat persembunyiannya, sehingga ia tidak dapat menyembunyikan diri lagi. Keturunannya telah binasa dan saudara-saudaranya dan bangsa-bangsa tetangganya tidak ada lagi.
49:11 Leave your fatherless children, I will preserve them alive; and let your widows trust in me.
49:11 Tinggalkanlah anak-anak yatimmu, aku akan menghidupi mereka; biarlah janda-jandamu menaruh kepercayaan padaku!"
49:12 For thus says the LORD; Behold, they whose judgment was not to drink of the cup have assuredly drunken; and are you he that shall altogether go unpunished? you shall not go unpunished, but you shall surely drink of it.
49:12 Sebab beginilah firman TUHAN: "Sedangkan orang-orang yang tidak selayaknya meminum isi piala itu telah terpaksa meminumnya, masakan engkau ini akan bebas dari hukuman? Engkau tidak akan bebas dari hukuman, tetapi mesti meminumnya!
49:13 For I have sworn by myself, says the LORD, that Bozrah shall become a desolation, a reproach, a waste, and a curse; and all the cities thereof shall be perpetual wastes.
49:13 Sebab Aku telah bersumpah demi diri-Ku, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Bozra akan menjadi ketandusan, cela, keruntuhan dan kutuk, dan segala kotanya akan menjadi reruntuhan yang kekal."
49:14 I have heard a rumour from the LORD, and an ambassador is sent unto the heathen, saying, Gather all of you together, and come against her, and rise up to the battle.
49:14 Suatu kabar telah kudengar dari TUHAN, seorang utusan telah disuruh ke tengah-tengah bangsa-bangsa: "Berkumpullah, pergilah menyerangnya, bersiaplah untuk bertempur!
49:15 For, lo, I will make you small among the heathen, and despised among men.
49:15 Sebab sesungguhnya, Aku membuat engkau kecil di antara bangsa-bangsa, dihinakan di antara manusia.
49:16 Your terribleness has deceived you, and the pride of yours heart, O you that dwell in the clefts of the rock, that hold the height of the hill: though you should make your nest as high as the eagle, I will bring you down from thence, says the LORD.
49:16 Sikapmu yang menggemetarkan orang memperdayakan engkau, dan keangkuhan hatimu, ya engkau yang tinggal di liang-liang batu, yang menduduki tempat tinggi bukit! Sekalipun engkau membuat sarangmu tinggi seperti burung rajawali, Aku akan menurunkan engkau dari sana, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
49:17 Also Edom shall be a desolation: every one that goes by it shall be astonished, and shall hiss at all the plagues thereof.
49:17 Edom akan menjadi ketandusan; setiap orang yang melewatinya akan merasa ngeri dan bersuit karena segala pukulan yang dideritanya.
49:18 As in the overthrow of Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, says the LORD, no man shall abide there, neither shall a son of man dwell in it.
49:18 Seperti pada waktu ditunggangbalikkannya Sodom dan Gomora dan kota-kota tetangganya--firman TUHAN--maka seorangpun tidak akan diam lagi di sana dan seorang manusiapun tidak akan tinggal lagi di dalamnya.
49:19 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan against the habitation of the strong: but I will suddenly make him run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
49:19 Sesungguhnya, seperti singa yang bangkit keluar dari hutan belukar sungai Yordan mendatangi padang rumput tempat kawanan domba, demikianlah Aku akan membuat mereka lari dengan tiba-tiba dari negeri itu dan mengangkat di dalamnya dia yang Kupilih. Sebab siapakah yang seperti Aku? Siapakah yang berani mendakwa Aku? Siapakah gerangan gembala yang tahan menghadapi Aku?
49:20 Therefore hear the counsel of the LORD, that he has taken against Edom; and his purposes, that he has purposed against the inhabitants of Teman: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitations desolate with them.
49:20 Sebab itu dengarlah putusan yang telah diambil TUHAN terhadap Edom dan rancangan-rancangan yang telah dibuat-Nya terhadap penduduk Teman: Bahwa sesungguhnya, yang paling lemahpun di antara kawanan domba akan diseret. Bahwa sesungguhnya, padang rumput mereka sendiri akan merasa ngeri terhadap mereka.
49:21 The earth is moved at the noise of their fall, at the cry the noise thereof was heard in the Red sea.
49:21 Bumi akan goncang karena bunyi jatuhnya mereka; teriakan mereka akan terdengar bunyinya di Laut Teberau.
49:22 Behold, he shall come up and fly as the eagle, and spread his wings over Bozrah: and at that day shall the heart of the mighty men of Edom be as the heart of a woman in her pangs.
49:22 Sesungguhnya, ia naik terbang seperti burung rajawali, melayang dan mengembangkan sayapnya ke atas Bozra. Hati para pahlawan Edom pada waktu itu akan seperti hati perempuan yang sakit beranak."
49:23 Concerning Damascus. Hamath is confounded, and Arpad: for they have heard evil tidings: they are fainthearted; there is sorrow on the sea; it cannot be quiet.
49:23 Mengenai Damsyik. "Hamat dan Arpad telah menjadi malu, sebab mereka mendengar kabar buruk; hati mereka gemetar karena kecemasan, tidak dapat menjadi tenang.
49:24 Damascus is waxed feeble, and turns herself to flee, and fear has seized on her: anguish and sorrows have taken her, as a woman in travail.
49:24 Damsyik telah menjadi lemah semangat, berpaling untuk lari, kegemparan telah mencekam dia, kesesakan dan sakit beranak telah menggenggam dia seperti seorang perempuan yang sedang melahirkan.
49:25 How is the city of praise not left, the city of my joy!
49:25 Sungguh, kota yang terpuji itu sudah ditinggalkan, kota kegirangan itu!
49:26 Therefore her young men shall fall in her streets, and all the men of war shall be cut off in that day, says the LORD of hosts.
49:26 Sebab itu teruna-terunanya akan rebah di tanah-tanah lapangnya dan semua prajuritnya akan menjadi bungkam pada waktu itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN semesta alam.
49:27 And I will kindle a fire in the wall of Damascus, and it shall consume the palaces of Benhadad.
49:27 Aku akan menyalakan api di tembok Damsyik, yang menghanguskan puri Benhadad."
49:28 Concerning Kedar, and concerning the kingdoms of Hazor, which Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon shall strike, thus says the LORD; Arise all of you, go up to Kedar, and spoil the men of the east.
49:28 Mengenai Kedar dan mengenai kerajaan-kerajaan Hazor yang dipukul kalah oleh Nebukadnezar, raja Babel. Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Bersiaplah, majulah melawan Kedar, binasakanlah orang-orang di sebelah timur!
49:29 Their tents and their flocks shall they take away: they shall take to themselves their curtains, and all their vessels, and their camels; and they shall cry unto them, Fear is on every side.
49:29 Hendaklah kemah-kemah mereka dan kawanan domba mereka dirampas sampai bersih, tenda-tenda mereka dan segala perabot mereka; hendaklah unta-unta mereka habis dibawa serta, dan hendaklah berteriak-teriak kepada mereka: Kegentaran dari segala jurusan!
49:30 Flee, get you far off, dwell deep, O all of you inhabitants of Hazor, says the LORD; for Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has taken counsel against you, and has conceived a purpose against you.
49:30 Larilah, mengungsilah cepat-cepat, bersembunyilah dalam liang-liang, hai penduduk Hazor! demikianlah firman TUHAN. Sebab Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, telah mengambil putusan terhadap kamu dan telah membuat rancangan terhadap kamu.
49:31 Arise, get you up unto the wealthy nation, that dwells without care, says the LORD, which have neither gates nor bars, which dwell alone.
49:31 Bersiaplah, majulah melawan bangsa yang hidup sentosa, yang diam dengan aman tenteram, demikianlah firman TUHAN, dan yang tidak punya pintu gerbang atau palang, dan yang tinggal tersendiri!
49:32 And their camels shall be a booty, and the multitude of their cattle a spoil: and I will scatter into all winds them that are in the utmost corners; and I will bring their calamity from all sides thereof, says the LORD.
49:32 Unta-unta mereka akan menjadi jarahan, dan ternak mereka yang banyak itu menjadi rampasan! Aku akan menyerakkan ke segala mata angin mereka yang berpotong tepi rambutnya berkeliling, dan dari segala penjuru Aku akan mendatangkan bencana atas mereka, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
49:33 And Hazor shall be a dwelling for dragons, and a desolation for ever: there shall no man abide there, nor any son of man dwell in it.
49:33 Hazor akan menjadi tempat persembunyian bagi serigala, menjadi tempat tandus sampai selama-lamanya; seorangpun tidak akan diam lagi di sana dan seorang manusiapun tidak akan tinggal lagi di dalamnya."
49:34 The word of the LORD that came to Jeremiah the prophet against Elam in the beginning of the reign of Zedekiah king of Judah, saying,
49:34 Firman TUHAN yang datang kepada nabi Yeremia mengenai Elam, pada permulaan pemerintahan Zedekia, raja Yehuda:
49:35 Thus says the LORD of hosts; Behold, I will break the bow of Elam, the chief of their might.
49:35 Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: "Sesungguhnya, Aku mematahkan busur Elam, yakni inti kekuatannya.
49:36 And upon Elam will I bring the four winds from the four quarters of heaven, and will scatter them toward all those winds; and there shall be no nation where the outcasts of Elam shall not come.
49:36 Aku akan mendatangkan atas Elam keempat angin dari keempat penjuru langit dan akan menyerakkan mereka ke segala mata angin ini, sehingga tidak ada bangsa yang tidak kedatangan orang-orang yang berserakan dari Elam.
49:37 For I will cause Elam to be dismayed before their enemies, and before them that seek their life: and I will bring evil upon them, even my fierce anger, says the LORD; and I will send the sword after them, till I have consumed them:
49:37 Aku akan membuat Elam terkejut di depan para musuhnya dan di depan orang-orang yang berusaha mencabut nyawanya. Aku akan mendatangkan atasnya malapetaka, yakni murka-Ku yang menyala-nyala, demikianlah firman TUHAN. Aku akan menyuruh pedang mengejar mereka sampai mereka Kuhabiskan.
49:38 And I will set my throne in Elam, and will destroy from thence the king and the princes, says the LORD.
49:38 Aku akan menaruh takhta-Ku di Elam, dan Aku akan membinasakan dari sana raja dan pemuka-pemuka, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
49:39 But it shall come to pass in the latter days, that I will bring again the captivity of Elam, says the LORD.
49:39 Tetapi di kemudian hari Aku akan memulihkan keadaan Elam, demikianlah firman TUHAN."
50:1 The word that the LORD spoke against Babylon and against the land of the Chaldeans by Jeremiah the prophet.
50:1 Firman yang disampaikan TUHAN dengan perantaraan nabi Yeremia mengenai Babel, mengenai negeri orang-orang Kasdim:
50:2 Declare all of you among the nations, and publish, and set up a standard; publish, and conceal not: say, Babylon is taken, Bel is confounded, Merodach is broken in pieces; her idols are confounded, her images are broken in pieces.
50:2 "Beritahukanlah di antara bangsa-bangsa dan kabarkanlah, naikkanlah panji-panji dan kabarkanlah, janganlah sembunyikan, katakanlah: Babel telah direbut, dewa Bel menjadi malu, Merodakh telah terkejut! Berhala-berhalanya menjadi malu, dewa-dewanya yang keji telah terkejut!
50:3 For out of the north there comes up a nation against her, which shall make her land desolate, and none shall dwell therein: they shall remove, they shall depart, both man and beast.
50:3 Maka suatu bangsa maju menyerangnya dari utara, membuat negerinya menjadi tempat tandus; tidak ada lagi yang diam di dalamnya, baik manusia maupun binatang, semuanya lari lenyap.
50:4 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the children of Israel shall come, they and the children of Judah together, going and weeping: they shall go, and seek the LORD their God.
50:4 Pada waktu itu dan pada masa itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, orang Israel akan datang, bersama-sama dengan orang Yehuda; mereka akan berjalan sambil menangis dan mencari TUHAN, Allah mereka;
50:5 They shall ask the way to Zion with their faces in that direction, saying, Come, and let us join ourselves to the LORD in a perpetual covenant that shall not be forgotten.
50:5 mereka menanyakan jalan ke Sion, ke sanalah mereka terarah: Marilah kita menggabungkan diri kepada TUHAN, bergabung dalam suatu perjanjian kekal yang tidak dapat dilupakan!
50:6 My people has been lost sheep: their shepherds have caused them to go astray, they have turned them away on the mountains: they have gone from mountain to hill, they have forgotten their resting place.
50:6 Umat-Ku tadinya seperti domba-domba yang hilang; mereka dibiarkan sesat oleh gembala-gembalanya, dibiarkan mengembara di gunung-gunung, mereka berjalan dari gunung ke bukit sehingga lupa akan tempat pembaringannya.
50:7 All that found them have devoured them: and their adversaries said, We offend not, because they have sinned against the LORD, the habitation of justice, even the LORD, the hope of their fathers.
50:7 Siapapun yang menjumpai mereka, memakan habis mereka, dan lawan-lawan mereka berkata: Kami tidak bersalah! Karena mereka telah berdosa kepada TUHAN, tempat kebenaran, TUHAN, pengharapan nenek moyang mereka!
50:8 Remove out of the midst of Babylon, and go forth out of the land of the Chaldeans, and be as the he goats before the flocks.
50:8 Larilah dari tengah-tengah Babel, dari negeri orang-orang Kasdim! Keluarlah! Jadilah seperti kambing-kambing jantan yang mengepalai kawanannya!
50:9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain.
50:9 Sebab sesungguhnya, Aku menggerakkan dan membangkitkan terhadap Babel sekumpulan bangsa-bangsa yang besar dari utara; mereka akan mengatur barisan untuk melawannya, dari sanalah kota itu akan direbut. Panah-panah mereka adalah seperti pahlawan yang mujur, yang tidak pernah kembali dengan tangan hampa.
50:10 And Chaldea shall be a spoil: all that spoil her shall be satisfied, says the LORD.
50:10 Negeri orang-orang Kasdim akan menjadi rampasan, semua orang yang merampasnya akan puas hatinya, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
50:11 Because all of you were glad, because all of you rejoiced, O all of you destroyers of mine heritage, because all of you are grown fat as the heifer at grass, and bellow as bulls;
50:11 Sekalipun kamu bersukacita dan beria-ria, hai orang-orang yang merampok milik-Ku, sekalipun kamu melompat-lompat seperti anak lembu di padang rumput, dan meringkik seperti kuda-kuda jantan,
50:12 Your mother shall be sore confounded; she that bare you shall be ashamed: behold, the hindermost of the nations shall be a wilderness, a dry land, and a desert.
50:12 namun, ibumu sangat menanggung malu, dan perempuan yang melahirkan kamu tersipu-sipu! Lihat, dialah yang menjadi terakhir dari bangsa-bangsa: padang gurun, padang belantara dan dataran rumput!
50:13 Because of the wrath of the LORD it shall not be inhabited, but it shall be wholly desolate: every one that goes by Babylon shall be astonished, and hiss at all her plagues.
50:13 Karena murka TUHAN negeri itu tidak akan didiami lagi, sama sekali akan menjadi tempat tandus. Setiap orang yang melewati Babel akan merasa ngeri dan akan bersuit karena pukulan-pukulan yang dideritanya.
50:14 Put yourselves in array against Babylon round about: all you that bend the bow, shoot at her, spare no arrows: for she has sinned against the LORD.
50:14 Aturlah barisanmu menyerang Babel dari segala pihak, hai semua orang pemanah! Panahlah kepadanya, janganlah merasa sayang akan anak panah, sebab kepada Tuhanlah ia berdosa!
50:15 Shout against her round about: she has given her hand: her foundations are fallen, her walls are thrown down: for it is the vengeance of the LORD: take vengeance upon her; as she has done, do unto her.
50:15 Bertempiksoraklah menyerangnya dari segala pihak! Dia sudah menyerah, tonggak-tonggaknya sudah rebah, pagar-pagarnya sudah runtuh! Sungguh, itulah pembalasan TUHAN! Laksanakanlah pembalasan terhadapnya, lakukanlah kepadanya seperti yang dilakukannya sendiri!
50:16 Cut off the sower from Babylon, and him that handles the sickle in the time of harvest: for fear of the oppressing sword they shall turn every one to his people, and they shall flee every one to his own land.
50:16 Lenyapkanlah orang penabur dari Babel dan orang penyabit pada musim menuai! Untuk mengelakkan pedang yang dahsyat ini, setiap orang akan berpaling pulang kepada bangsanya, setiap orang akan lari ke negerinya.
50:17 Israel is a scattered sheep; the lions have driven him away: first the king of Assyria has devoured him; and last this Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon has broken his bones.
50:17 Israel adalah seperti domba yang diceraiberaikan, dihalaukan oleh singa-singa. Mula-mula raja Asyur memakan dia, dan sekarang pada akhirnya Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, mengerumit tulang-tulangnya.
50:18 Therefore thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; Behold, I will punish the king of Babylon and his land, as I have punished the king of Assyria.
50:18 Sebab itu beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Sesungguhnya, Aku menghukum raja Babel dan negerinya, seperti Aku telah menghukum raja Asyur.
50:19 And I will bring Israel again to his habitation, and he shall feed on Carmel and Bashan, and his soul shall be satisfied upon mount Ephraim and Gilead.
50:19 Tetapi Aku akan mengembalikan Israel ke padang rumputnya, supaya ia makan rumput di atas Karmel dan di Basan, dan menjadi kenyang di atas pegunungan Efraim dan di Gilead.
50:20 In those days, and in that time, says the LORD, the iniquity of Israel shall be sought for, and there shall be none; and the sins of Judah, and they shall not be found: for I will pardon them whom I reserve.
50:20 Pada waktu itu dan pada masa itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN, orang akan mencari kesalahan Israel, tetapi tidak didapatnya, dan dosa Yehuda, tetapi tidak ada ditemukannya, sebab Aku akan mengampuni orang-orang yang Kubiarkan tinggal hidup.
50:21 Go up against the land of Merathaim, even against it, and against the inhabitants of Pekod: waste and utterly destroy after them, says the LORD, and do according to all that I have commanded you.
50:21 Majulah ke negeri Merataim, majulah menyerangnya dan menyerang penduduk Pekod! Bunuhlah dan tumpaslah mereka, demikianlah firman TUHAN, lakukanlah tepat seperti yang Kuperintahkan!
50:22 A sound of battle is in the land, and of great destruction.
50:22 Gemuruh perang di negeri dan terjadilah kehancuran besar!
50:23 How is the hammer of the whole earth cut asunder and broken! how is Babylon become a desolation among the nations!
50:23 Betapa remuk redamnya dan hancur luluhnya martil seluruh bumi itu! Betapa Babel menjadi kengerian di antara bangsa-bangsa!
50:24 I have laid a snare for you, and you are also taken, O Babylon, and you were not aware: you are found, and also caught, because you have striven against the LORD.
50:24 Aku memasang jerat bagimu, dan memang engkau terjebak, hai Babel, dengan tidak mengetahuinya. Engkau terdapat dan memang engkau tertangkap, sebab engkau telah menantang TUHAN.
50:25 The LORD has opened his armoury, and has brought forth the weapons of his indignation: for this is the work of the Lord GOD of hosts in the land of the Chaldeans.
50:25 TUHAN telah membuka tempat perlengkapan-Nya dan mengeluarkan senjata-senjata geram-Nya, sebab ada pekerjaan bagi Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam di negeri orang-orang Kasdim:
50:26 Come against her from the utmost border, open her storehouses: cast her up as heaps, and destroy her utterly: let nothing of her be left.
50:26 Marilah mendatanginya dari segala jurusan, bukalah lumbung-lumbungnya, onggokkanlah isinya bertimbun-timbun dan tumpaslah itu, janganlah ada tinggal sisanya!
50:27 Slay all her bullocks; let them go down to the slaughter: woe unto them! for their day has come, the time of their visitation.
50:27 Bunuhlah segala lembunya, biarlah rebah semuanya untuk dibantai! Celakalah mereka, sebab waktunya sudah tiba, saat penghukuman atas mereka!
50:28 The voice of them that flee and escape out of the land of Babylon, to declare in Zion the vengeance of the LORD our God, the vengeance of his temple.
50:28 Dengar! Pelarian-pelarian dan orang-orang yang terluput dari negeri Babel datang memberitahukan di Sion tentang pembalasan TUHAN, Allah kita, pembalasan karena bait suci-Nya.
50:29 Call together the archers against Babylon: all you that bend the bow, camp against it round about; let none thereof escape: recompense her according to her work; according to all that she has done, do unto her: for she has been proud against the LORD, against the Holy One of Israel.
50:29 Kerahkanlah penembak-penembak melawan Babel, semua orang pemanah! Berkemahlah mengepungnya, supaya jangan ada yang lolos! Balaslah dia setimpal dengan perbuatannya, lakukanlah kepadanya tepat seperti yang dilakukannya sendiri! Sebab ia bertindak kurang ajar terhadap TUHAN, terhadap Yang Mahakudus, Allah Israel.
50:30 Therefore shall her young men fall in the streets, and all her men of war shall be cut off in that day, says the LORD.
50:30 Sebab itu teruna-terunanya akan rebah di tanah-tanah lapangnya, dan semua prajuritnya akan menjadi bungkam pada waktu itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
50:31 Behold, I am against you, O you most proud, says the Lord GOD of hosts: for your day has come, the time that I will visit you.
50:31 Sesungguhnya, Aku menjadi lawanmu, hai engkau yang kurang ajar, demikianlah firman Tuhan ALLAH semesta alam, sebab waktumu sudah tiba, saat Aku menghukum engkau.
50:32 And the most proud shall stumble and fall, and none shall raise him up: and I will kindle a fire in his cities, and it shall devour all round about him.
50:32 Si kurang ajar itu akan tersandung jatuh dan tidak ada yang membangkitkan dia. Di kota-kotanya Aku akan menyalakan api yang akan menghanguskan segala apa yang di sekitarnya.
50:33 Thus says the LORD of hosts; The children of Israel and the children of Judah were oppressed together: and all that took them captives held them fast; they refused to let them go.
50:33 Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: Orang Israel tertindas bersama-sama dengan orang Yehuda. Semua orang yang menawan mereka tetap menahan mereka, tidak mau melepaskan mereka.
50:34 Their Redeemer is strong; the LORD of hosts is his name: he shall thoroughly plead their cause, that he may give rest to the land, and trouble the inhabitants of Babylon.
50:34 Tetapi Penebus mereka adalah kuat; TUHAN semesta alam nama-Nya. Tentulah Ia akan memperjuangkan perkara mereka, supaya Ia memberi ketenteraman kepada bumi, tetapi kegemparan kepada penduduk Babel.
50:35 A sword is upon the Chaldeans, says the LORD, and upon the inhabitants of Babylon, and upon her princes, and upon her wise men.
50:35 Pedang akan menimpa orang-orang Kasdim, demikianlah firman TUHAN, menimpa penduduk Babel, menimpa pemuka-pemukanya dan orang-orangnya yang berhikmat!
50:36 A sword is upon the liars; and they shall be foolish: a sword is upon her mighty men; and they shall be dismayed.
50:36 Pedang menimpa tukang-tukang ramal, sehingga ternyata mereka bodoh! Pedang menimpa pahlawan-pahlawannya, sehingga mereka menjadi terkejut!
50:37 A sword is upon their horses, and upon their chariots, and upon all the mingled people that are in the midst of her; and they shall become as women: a sword is upon her treasures; and they shall be robbed.
50:37 Pedang menimpa kudanya dan keretanya, menimpa segenap tentara campuran yang di tengah-tengahnya, sehingga mereka menjadi seperti perempuan! Pedang menimpa perbendaharaannya, sehingga dijarah orang!
50:38 A drought is upon her waters; and they shall be dried up: for it is the land of graven images, and they are mad upon their idols.
50:38 Pedang menimpa segala airnya, sehingga menjadi kering! Sebab negeri itu penuh patung-patung, mereka menjadi gila oleh berhala-berhala mereka!
50:39 Therefore the wild beasts of the desert with the wild beasts of the islands shall dwell there, and the owls shall dwell therein: and it shall be no more inhabited for ever; neither shall it be dwelt in from generation to generation.
50:39 Sebab itu binatang-binatang gurun serta anjing-anjing hutan akan diam di sana, juga burung-burung unta akan tinggal di dalamnya. Negeri itu tidak akan didiami lagi untuk seterusnya dan tidak akan ditinggali lagi turun-temurun.
50:40 As God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah and the neighbour cities thereof, says the LORD; so shall no man abide there, neither shall any son of man dwell therein.
50:40 Seperti dahulu pada waktu Allah menunggangbalikkan Sodom dan Gomora serta kota-kota tetangganya, demikianlah firman TUHAN, demikianlah tidak akan ada orang lagi yang diam di sana dan seorang anak manusiapun tidak akan tinggal lagi di dalamnya.
50:41 Behold, a people shall come from the north, and a great nation, and many kings shall be raised up from the coasts of the earth.
50:41 Lihatlah, suatu bangsa akan datang dari utara, suatu suku bangsa yang besar, dan banyak raja, akan bergerak maju dari ujung bumi.
50:42 They shall hold the bow and the lance: they are cruel, and will not show mercy: their voice shall roar like the sea, and they shall ride upon horses, every one put in array, like a man to the battle, against you, O daughter of Babylon.
50:42 Mereka memakai panah dan tombak; mereka bengis, tidak kenal belas kasihan. Suara mereka gemuruh seperti laut, mereka mengendarai kuda, berlengkap seperti orang maju berperang, menyerang engkau, hai puteri Babel!
50:43 The king of Babylon has heard the report of them, and his hands waxed feeble: anguish took hold of him, and pangs as of a woman in travail.
50:43 Raja Babel telah mendengar kabar tentang mereka, tangannya sudah menjadi lemah lesu, kesesakan telah menyergap dia, ia kesakitan seperti perempuan yang melahirkan.
50:44 Behold, he shall come up like a lion from the swelling of Jordan unto the habitation of the strong: but I will make them suddenly run away from her: and who is a chosen man, that I may appoint over her? for who is like me? and who will appoint me the time? and who is that shepherd that will stand before me?
50:44 Sesungguhnya, seperti singa yang bangkit keluar dari hutan belukar sungai Yordan mendatangi padang rumput tempat kawanan domba, demikianlah Aku akan membuat mereka lari dengan tiba-tiba dari negeri itu dan mengangkat di atasnya dia yang Kupilih. Sebab siapakah yang seperti Aku? Siapakah yang berani mendakwa Aku? Siapakah gerangan gembala yang tahan menghadapi Aku?
50:45 Therefore hear all of you the counsel of the LORD, that he has taken against Babylon; and his purposes, that he has purposed against the land of the Chaldeans: Surely the least of the flock shall draw them out: surely he shall make their habitation desolate with them.
50:45 Sebab itu dengarlah putusan yang telah diambil TUHAN terhadap Babel dan rancangan-rancangan yang telah dibuat-Nya terhadap negeri orang-orang Kasdim: Bahwa sesungguhnya, yang paling lemahpun di antara kawanan domba akan diseret. Bahwa sesungguhnya, padang rumput mereka sendiri akan merasa ngeri terhadap mereka.
50:46 At the noise of the taking of Babylon the earth is moved, and the cry is heard among the nations.
50:46 Bumi akan goncang karena kabar: Babel sudah direbut; ratap mereka akan terdengar di antara bangsa-bangsa!"
51:1 Thus says the LORD; Behold, I will raise up against Babylon, and against them that dwell in the midst of them that rise up against me, a destroying wind;
51:1 Beginilah firman TUHAN: "Sesungguhnya, Aku menggerakkan terhadap Babel, terhadap penduduk negeri orang-orang Kasdim, suatu semangat pemusnah.
51:2 And will send unto Babylon fanners, that shall fan her, and shall empty her land: for in the day of trouble they shall be against her round about.
51:2 Aku akan mengirim ke Babel penampi-penampi yang akan menampinya dan yang akan menyapu bersih negerinya, sebab mereka mengepungnya dari segala pihak pada hari malapetaka.
51:3 Against him that bends let the archer bend his bow, and against him that lifts himself up in his brigandine: and spare all of you not her young men; destroy all of you utterly all her host.
51:3 Hendaklah si pemanah membidikkan panahnya kepada orang yang membidik dan kepada orang yang berbaju zirah! Janganlah merasa sayang akan teruna-terunanya, tumpaslah segala tentaranya!
51:4 Thus the slain shall fall in the land of the Chaldeans, and they that are thrust through in her streets.
51:4 Orang-orang yang terbunuh akan rebah di negeri orang-orang Kasdim dan orang-orang yang luka parah di jalan-jalannya--
51:5 For Israel has not been forsaken, nor Judah of his God, of the LORD of hosts; though their land was filled with sin against the Holy One of Israel.
51:5 sungguh, Israel dan Yehuda tidak ditinggalkan sebagai janda oleh Allahnya, oleh TUHAN semesta alam--sebab negeri orang Kasdim penuh dengan kesalahan terhadap Yang Mahakudus, Allah Israel.
51:6 Flee out of the midst of Babylon, and deliver every man his soul: be not cut off in her iniquity; for this is the time of the LORD's vengeance; he will render unto her a recompence.
51:6 Larilah dari tengah-tengah Babel, hendaklah setiap orang menyelamatkan nyawanya, supaya kamu jangan tertumpas karena kesalahannya! Sebab inilah waktu pembalasan bagi TUHAN; Ia membayar ganjaran kepadanya.
51:7 Babylon has been a golden cup in the LORD's hand, that made all the earth drunken: the nations have drunken of her wine; therefore the nations are mad.
51:7 Babel tadinya seperti piala emas di tangan TUHAN yang memabukkan seluruh bumi. Bangsa-bangsa minum dari anggurnya, itulah sebabnya bangsa-bangsa menjadi gila.
51:8 Babylon is suddenly fallen and destroyed: wail for her; take balm for her pain, if so be she may be healed.
51:8 Tiba-tiba Babel jatuh dan pecah, ratapilah dia! Ambillah balsam untuk lukanya, mungkin ia menjadi sembuh!
51:9 We would have healed Babylon, but she is not healed: forsake her, and let us go every one into his own country: for her judgment reachs unto heaven, and is lifted up even to the skies.
51:9 Kami tadinya mau menyembuhkan Babel, tetapi ia tidak dapat disembuhkan; tinggalkanlah dia, marilah kita pulang masing-masing ke negerinya! Sungguh, penghukumannya sudah sampai ke langit, sudah menjangkau awan-awan!
51:10 The LORD has brought forth our righteousness: come, and let us declare in Zion the work of the LORD our God.
51:10 TUHAN telah membuat segala kebenaran kita menjadi nyata; marilah kita ceritakan di Sion perbuatan TUHAN, Allah kita!
51:11 Make bright the arrows; gather the shields: the LORD has raised up the spirit of the kings of the Medes: for his device is against Babylon, to destroy it; because it is the vengeance of the LORD, the vengeance of his temple.
51:11 Lancipkanlah anak-anak panah, siapkanlah perisai-perisai! TUHAN telah membangkitkan semangat raja-raja Media, sebab rencana-Nya terhadap Babel ialah untuk memusnahkannya: itulah pembalasan TUHAN, pembalasan karena bait suci-Nya!
51:12 Set up the standard upon the walls of Babylon, make the watch strong, set up the watchmen, prepare the ambushes: for the LORD has both devised and done that which he spoke against the inhabitants of Babylon.
51:12 Angkatlah panji-panji terhadap tembok-tembok Babel, perkuatlah penjagaan! Tempatkanlah orang-orang jaga, persiapkanlah penghadangan! Sebab TUHAN telah merencanakan dan melaksanakan juga apa yang diancamkan-Nya terhadap penduduk Babel.
51:13 O you that dwell upon many waters, abundant in treasures, yours end has come, and the measure of your covetousness.
51:13 Hai engkau yang tinggal di tepi sungai besar, yang mempunyai kekayaan besar, akhir hidupmu sudah datang, batas hidupmu sudah sampai!
51:14 The LORD of hosts has sworn by himself, saying, Surely I will fill you with men, as with caterpillars; and they shall lift up a shout against you.
51:14 TUHAN semesta alam telah bersumpah demi diri-Nya sendiri: Sungguhpun engkau penuh dengan manusia-manusia seperti belalang, tetapi orang akan mengangkat pekik pertempuran terhadapmu.
51:15 He has made the earth by his power, he has established the world by his wisdom, and has stretched out the heaven by his understanding.
51:15 Tuhanlah yang menjadikan bumi dengan kekuatan-Nya, yang menegakkan dunia dengan kebijaksanaan-Nya, dan yang membentangkan langit dengan akal budi-Nya.
51:16 When he utters his voice, there is a multitude of waters in the heavens; and he causes the vapours to ascend from the ends of the earth: he makes lightnings with rain, and brings forth the wind out of his treasures.
51:16 Apabila Ia memperdengarkan suara-Nya, menderulah bunyi air di langit, Ia menaikkan kabut awan dari ujung bumi, Ia membuat kilat serta dengan hujan, dan mengeluarkan angin dari perbendaharaan-Nya.
51:17 Every man is brutish by his knowledge; every founder is confounded by the graven image: for his molten image is falsehood, and there is no breath in them.
51:17 Setiap manusia ternyata bodoh, tidak berpengetahuan, dan setiap pandai emas akan menjadi malu karena patung buatannya. Sebab patung tuangannya itu adalah tipu, tidak ada nyawa di dalamnya,
51:18 They are vanity, the work of errors: in the time of their visitation they shall perish.
51:18 semuanya adalah kesia-siaan, pekerjaan yang menjadi buah ejekan, dan yang akan binasa pada waktu dihukum.
51:19 The portion of Jacob is not like them; for he is the former of all things: and Israel is the rod of his inheritance: the LORD of hosts is his name.
51:19 Tidaklah begitu Dia yang menjadi bagian Yakub, sebab Dialah yang membentuk segala-galanya, dan Israel adalah suku milik-Nya; nama-Nya ialah TUHAN semesta alam!
51:20 You are my battle axe and weapons of war: for with you will I break in pieces the nations, and with you will I destroy kingdoms;
51:20 Engkau tadinya adalah palu godam bagi-Ku, senjata perang: Dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan bangsa-bangsa, dengan engkau Aku memusnahkan kerajaan-kerajaan,
51:21 And with you will I break in pieces the horse and his rider; and with you will I break in pieces the chariot and his rider;
51:21 dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan kuda dan pengendaranya, dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan kereta dan penunggangnya,
51:22 With you also will I break in pieces man and woman; and with you will I break in pieces old and young; and with you will I break in pieces the young man and the maid;
51:22 dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan orang laki-laki dan perempuan, dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan orang tua dan muda, dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan teruna dan dara,
51:23 I will also break in pieces with you the shepherd and his flock; and with you will I break in pieces the farmer and his yoke of oxen; and with you will I break in pieces captains and rulers.
51:23 dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan gembala dan kawanan dombanya, dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan petani dan lembu pembajaknya, dengan engkau Aku menghancurkan bupati-bupati dan pembesar-pembesar!
51:24 And I will render unto Babylon and to all the inhabitants of Chaldea all their evil that they have done in Zion in your sight, says the LORD.
51:24 Namun Aku akan membalaskan kepada Babel dan kepada segenap penduduk negeri orang Kasdim segala kejahatan yang telah mereka lakukan terhadap Sion, di depan matamu sendiri, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
51:25 Behold, I am against you, O destroying mountain, says the LORD, which destroys all the earth: and I will stretch out mine hand upon you, and roll you down from the rocks, and will make you a burnt mountain.
51:25 Sesungguhnya, Aku menjadi lawanmu, hai gunung pemusnah, demikianlah firman TUHAN, yang memusnahkan seluruh bumi! Aku akan mengacungkan tangan-Ku kepadamu, menggulingkan engkau dari bukit batu, dan membuat engkau menjadi gunung api yang telah padam.
51:26 And they shall not take of you a stone for a corner, nor a stone for foundations; but you shall be desolate for ever, says the LORD.
51:26 Orang tidak akan mengambil batu penjuru atau batu dasar dari padamu, tetapi engkau akan menjadi tempat tandus yang kekal, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
51:27 Set all of you up a standard in the land, blow the trumpet among the nations, prepare the nations against her, call together against her the kingdoms of Ararat, Minni, and Ashchenaz; appoint a captain against her; cause the horses to come up as the rough caterpillars.
51:27 Angkatlah panji-panji di bumi, tiuplah sangkakala di antara bangsa-bangsa, persiapkanlah bangsa-bangsa berperang melawan Babel, kerahkanlah kerajaan-kerajaan melawannya--Ararat, Mini dan Askenas--angkatlah seorang panglima melawannya, tampilkanlah kuda seperti kawanan belalang!
51:28 Prepare against her the nations with the kings of the Medes, the captains thereof, and all the rulers thereof, and all the land of his dominion.
51:28 Persiapkanlah bangsa-bangsa berperang melawannya, raja-raja Media beserta bupati-bupati dan pembesar-pembesarnya, dan setiap negeri yang di bawah kuasanya!
51:29 And the land shall tremble and sorrow: for every purpose of the LORD shall be performed against Babylon, to make the land of Babylon a desolation without an inhabitant.
51:29 Bumi berguncang dan bergetar, sebab rancangan TUHAN terhadap Babel sedang terlaksana, yakni untuk membuat negeri Babel menjadi tempat tandus yang tidak berpenduduk.
51:30 The mighty men of Babylon have ceased to fight, they have remained in their holds: their might has failed; they became as women: they have burned her dwelling places; her bars are broken.
51:30 Pahlawan-pahlawan Babel telah berhenti berperang, mereka tinggal duduk di kubu-kubu pertahanan, kegagahberanian mereka sudah lenyap, mereka sudah menjadi seperti perempuan. Tempat-tempat tinggalnya sudah terbakar, palang-palang pintunya sudah patah!
51:31 One post shall run to meet another, and one messenger to meet another, to show the king of Babylon that his city is taken at every quarter,
51:31 Pesuruh-pesuruh cepat berlari susul-menyusul, pembawa-pembawa kabar susul-menyusul, untuk mengabarkan kepada raja Babel, bahwa kotanya telah direbut dari segala penjuru,
51:32 And that the passages are stopped, and the reeds they have burned with fire, and the men of war are affrighted.
51:32 tempat-tempat penyeberangan telah diduduki, benteng-benteng pertahanan telah dihanguskan dengan api, prajurit-prajurit telah menjadi gempar.
51:33 For thus says the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshing floor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.
51:33 Sebab beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam, Allah Israel: Puteri Babel adalah seperti tempat pengirikan pada waktu orang menginjak-injaknya! Sedikit waktu lagi akan datang waktu panen baginya.
51:34 Nebuchadrezzar the king of Babylon has devoured me, he has crushed me, he has made me an empty vessel, he has swallowed me up like a dragon, he has filled his belly with my delicates, he has cast me out.
51:34 Aku dimakan habis, dihamburkan oleh Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, diletakkan seperti mangkuk yang kosong. Ia menelan aku seperti ular naga, ia memenuhi perutnya dengan pengananku yang enak-enak, ia membuangkan aku.
51:35 The violence done to me and to my flesh be upon Babylon, shall the inhabitant of Zion say; and my blood upon the inhabitants of Chaldea, shall Jerusalem say.
51:35 Biarlah penggagahan dan penghancuran atasku tertimpa kepada Babel, begitulah hendaknya berkata penduduk Sion, biarlah darahku tertimpa kepada penduduk negeri orang Kasdim, begitulah hendaknya berkata Yerusalem.
51:36 Therefore thus says the LORD; Behold, I will plead your cause, and take vengeance for you; and I will dry up her sea, and make her springs dry.
51:36 Sebab itu beginilah firman TUHAN: Sesungguhnya, Aku akan memperjuangkan perkaramu, dan akan melakukan pembalasan untukmu: Aku akan mengeringkan lautnya dan akan menggersangkan sumber airnya;
51:37 And Babylon shall become heaps, a dwelling place for dragons, an astonishment, and an hissing, without an inhabitant.
51:37 Babel akan menjadi timbunan puing, tempat persembunyian serigala-serigala tempat kengerian dan suitan, tanpa penduduk.
51:38 They shall roar together like lions: they shall yell as lions' whelps.
51:38 Bersama-sama mereka mengaum seperti singa-singa muda, menggeram seperti anak-anak singa;
51:39 In their heat I will make their feasts, and I will make them drunken, that they may rejoice, and sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the LORD.
51:39 jika mereka merasa panas, Aku akan menyediakan perjamuan bagi mereka, akan membuat mereka mabuk, supaya mereka menjadi pusing dan jatuh tertidur untuk selama-lamanya, tidak akan bangun-bangun lagi, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
51:40 I will bring them down like lambs to the slaughter, like rams with he goats.
51:40 Aku akan merebahkan mereka untuk dibantai seperti anak-anak kambing, seperti domba-domba jantan dan kambing-kambing jantan.
51:41 How is Sheshach taken! and how is the praise of the whole earth surprised! how is Babylon become an astonishment among the nations!
51:41 Betapa Sesakh direbut, dan negeri pujian seluruh bumi diduduki! Betapa Babel menjadi kengerian di antara bangsa-bangsa!
51:42 The sea has come up upon Babylon: she is covered with the multitude of the waves thereof.
51:42 Laut telah naik meliputi Babel, gelombang-gelombangnya yang menderu telah melingkupinya.
51:43 Her cities are a desolation, a dry land, and a wilderness, a land wherein no man dwells, neither does any son of man pass thereby.
51:43 Kota-kotanya sudah menjadi tempat tandus, menjadi negeri yang kering dan padang belantara, negeri yang tidak didiami oleh seorangpun dan yang tidak dilewati oleh seorang manusiapun.
51:44 And I will punish Bel in Babylon, and I will bring forth out of his mouth that which he has swallowed up: and the nations shall not flow together any more unto him: yea, the wall of Babylon shall fall.
51:44 Aku akan menghukum dewa Bel di Babel, dan akan mengeluarkan dari mulutnya apa yang ditelannya. Bangsa-bangsa tidak akan datang lagi mengalir kepadanya, tembok Babelpun sudah runtuh.
51:45 My people, go all of you out of the midst of her, and deliver all of you every man his soul from the fierce anger of the LORD.
51:45 Keluarlah dari tengah-tengahnya, hai umat-Ku! Hendaklah setiap orang menyelamatkan nyawanya dari murka TUHAN yang menyala-nyala itu!
51:46 And lest your heart faint, and all of you fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land; a rumour shall both come one year, and after that in another year shall come a rumour, and violence in the land, ruler against ruler.
51:46 Biarlah hatimu jangan kecut dan takut karena kabar yang terdengar di negeri: apabila tahun ini datang kabar ini, dan tahun kemudian kabar itu, apabila kekerasan merajalela di negeri dan penguasa lalim melawan penguasa lalim.
51:47 Therefore, behold, the days come, that I will do judgment upon the graven images of Babylon: and her whole land shall be confounded, and all her slain shall fall in the midst of her.
51:47 Sebab itu sesungguhnya, waktunya akan datang, bahwa Aku akan menghukum patung-patung Babel; seluruh negerinya akan menjadi malu dan semua orangnya yang terbunuh akan rebah di tengah-tengahnya.
51:48 Then the heaven and the earth, and all that is therein, shall sing for Babylon: for the spoilers shall come unto her from the north, says the LORD.
51:48 Maka langit dan bumi serta segala apa yang ada di dalamnya akan bersorak-sorai tentang Babel, apabila dari utara datang kepadanya para perusak itu, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
51:49 As Babylon has caused the slain of Israel to fall, so at Babylon shall fall the slain of all the earth.
51:49 Babel akan jatuh oleh karena orang-orang yang mati terbunuh di antara Israel sama seperti jatuhnya orang-orang yang mati terbunuh di seluruh bumi oleh karena Babel.
51:50 All of you that have escaped the sword, go away, stand not still: remember the LORD far off, and let Jerusalem come into your mind.
51:50 Kamu, orang-orang yang terluput dari pedang, pergilah, janganlah berhenti! Ingatlah dari jauh kepada TUHAN dan biarlah Yerusalem timbul lagi dalam hatimu:
51:51 We are confounded, because we have heard reproach: shame has covered our faces: for strangers are come into the sanctuaries of the LORD's house.
51:51 Kami malu, sebab kami telah mendengar tentang aib, noda meliputi muka kami, sebab orang-orang asing telah memasuki tempat-tempat kudus di rumah TUHAN.
51:52 Wherefore, behold, the days come, says the LORD, that I will do judgment upon her graven images: and through all her land the wounded shall groan.
51:52 Sebab itu sesungguhnya, waktunya akan datang, demikianlah firman TUHAN, bahwa Aku akan menghukum patung-patungnya, dan di seluruh negerinya akan mengerang orang-orang yang luka tertikam.
51:53 Though Babylon should mount up to heaven, and though she should fortify the height of her strength, yet from me shall spoilers come unto her, says the LORD.
51:53 Sekalipun Babel naik ke langit dan sekalipun dibuatnya kubu tak terhampiri di tempat tingginya, atas perintah-Ku akan datang para perusak kepadanya, demikianlah firman TUHAN.
51:54 A sound of a cry comes from Babylon, and great destruction from the land of the Chaldeans:
51:54 Dengar! Ratap dari Babel dan kehancuran besar dari negeri orang Kasdim!
51:55 Because the LORD has spoiled Babylon, and destroyed out of her the great voice; when her waves do roar like great waters, a noise of their voice is uttered:
51:55 Sebab TUHAN merusakkan Babel dan menghentikan suaranya yang besar. Biarpun gelombang-gelombangnya menderu seperti air besar dan suaranya bertambah ribut,
51:56 Because the spoiler has come upon her, even upon Babylon, and her mighty men are taken, every one of their bows is broken: for the LORD God of recompences shall surely requite.
51:56 namun atas Babel akan datang perusak, para pahlawannya akan tertangkap dan busur-busurnya akan hancur, sebab TUHAN adalah Allah pembalas, tentulah Ia akan mengadakan pembalasan!
51:57 And I will make drunk her princes, and her wise men, her captains, and her rulers, and her mighty men: and they shall sleep a perpetual sleep, and not wake, says the King, whose name is the LORD of hosts.
51:57 Aku akan membuat mabuk para pemukanya, orang-orang bijaksananya, para bupatinya, para pembesarnya dan para pahlawannya, sehingga mereka jatuh tertidur untuk selama-lamanya, tidak akan bangun-bangun lagi, demikianlah firman Sang Raja yang TUHAN semesta alam nama-Nya.
51:58 Thus says the LORD of hosts; The broad walls of Babylon shall be utterly broken, and her high gates shall be burned with fire; and the people shall labour in vain, and the folk in the fire, and they shall be weary.
51:58 Beginilah firman TUHAN semesta alam: Tembok-tembok tebal Babel akan disamaratakan, dan pintu-pintu gerbangnya yang tinggi akan dibakar dengan api, sehingga bangsa-bangsa bersusah-susah untuk yang sia-sia dan suku-suku bangsa berlelah untuk api saja."
51:59 The word which Jeremiah the prophet commanded Seraiah the son of Neriah, the son of Maaseiah, when he went with Zedekiah the king of Judah into Babylon in the fourth year of his reign. And this Seraiah was a quiet prince.
51:59 Pesan yang diberikan nabi Yeremia kepada Seraya bin Neria bin Mahseya, ketika Seraya pergi bersama-sama Zedekia, raja Yehuda, ke Babel pada tahun yang keempat dari pemerintahannya--Seraya waktu itu adalah kepala perlengkapan.
51:60 So Jeremiah wrote in a book all the evil that should come upon Babylon, even all these words that are written against Babylon.
51:60 Yeremia telah menuliskan dalam sebuah kitab segenap malapetaka yang akan menimpa Babel, yakni segala perkataan yang tertulis di sini mengenai Babel. --
51:61 And Jeremiah said to Seraiah, When you come to Babylon, and shall see, and shall read all these words;
51:61 Kata Yeremia kepada Seraya: "Jika engkau tiba di Babel, maka ikhtiarkanlah, supaya engkau dapat membacakan segala perkataan ini,
51:62 Then shall you say, O LORD, you have spoken against this place, to cut it off, that none shall remain in it, neither man nor beast, but that it shall be desolate for ever.
51:62 dan katakanlah: TUHAN, Engkau telah berfirman tentang kota ini bahwa Engkau akan melenyapkannya, sehingga tidak ada lagi yang diam di dalamnya, baik manusia maupun hewan, dan sehingga kota ini akan menjadi tempat tandus untuk selama-lamanya!
51:63 And it shall be, when you have made an end of reading this book, that you shall bind a stone to it, and cast it into the midst of Euphrates:
51:63 Apabila engkau selesai membacakan kitab ini, maka ikatkanlah sebuah batu kepadanya, lalu lemparkanlah ia ke tengah-tengah sungai Efrat
51:64 And you shall say, Thus shall Babylon sink, and shall not rise from the evil that I will bring upon her: and they shall be weary. Thus far are the words of Jeremiah.
51:64 sambil berkata: Beginilah Babel akan tenggelam, dan tidak akan timbul-timbul lagi, oleh karena malapetaka yang Kudatangkan atasnya." Sampai di sinilah perkataan-perkataan Yeremia.
52:1 Zedekiah was one and twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned eleven years in Jerusalem. And his mother's name was Hamutal the daughter of Jeremiah of Libnah.
52:1 Zedekia berumur dua puluh satu tahun pada waktu ia menjadi raja dan sebelas tahun lamanya ia memerintah di Yerusalem. Nama ibunya ialah Hamutal binti Yeremia, dari Libna.
52:2 And he did that which was evil in the eyes of the LORD, according to all that Jehoiakim had done.
52:2 Ia melakukan apa yang jahat di mata TUHAN tepat seperti yang telah dilakukan Yoyakim.
52:3 For through the anger of the LORD it came to pass in Jerusalem and Judah, till he had cast them out from his presence, that Zedekiah rebelled against the king of Babylon.
52:3 Sebab oleh karena murka Tuhanlah hal itu terjadi terhadap Yerusalem dan Yehuda, yakni bahwa Ia sampai membuang mereka dari hadapan-Nya. Zedekia memberontak terhadap raja Babel.
52:4 And it came to pass in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth day of the month, that Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon came, he and all his army, against Jerusalem, and pitched against it, and built forts against it round about.
52:4 Maka pada tahun kesembilan dari pemerintahannya, dalam bulan yang kesepuluh, pada tanggal sepuluh bulan itu, datanglah Nebukadnezar, raja Babel, dengan segala tentaranya menyerang Yerusalem. Berkemahlah mereka mengepungnya dan didirikan merekalah tembok pengepungan sekelilingnya.
52:5 So the city was besieged unto the eleventh year of king Zedekiah.
52:5 Demikianlah kota itu terkepung sampai tahun yang kesebelas pemerintahan raja Zedekia.
52:6 And in the fourth month, in the ninth day of the month, the famine was sore in the city, so that there was no bread for the people of the land.
52:6 Pada tanggal sembilan bulan yang keempat, ketika kelaparan sudah merajalela di kota itu dan tidak ada lagi makanan pada rakyat negeri itu,
52:7 Then the city was broken up, and all the men of war fled, and went forth out of the city by night by the way of the gate between the two walls, which was by the king's garden; (now the Chaldeans were by the city round about:) and they went by the way of the plain.
52:7 maka dibelah oranglah tembok kota itu. Melihat hal itu maka melarikan dirilah raja dengan semua tentara, meninggalkan kota itu pada waktu malam melalui pintu gerbang antara kedua tembok yang ada di dekat taman raja, sekalipun orang Kasdim mengepung kota itu sekeliling. Mereka lari menuju ke Araba-Yordan.
52:8 But the army of the Chaldeans pursued after the king, and overtook Zedekiah in the plains of Jericho; and all his army was scattered from him.
52:8 Tetapi tentara Kasdim itu mengejar raja dari belakang dan mencapai Zedekia di dataran Yerikho; segala tentaranya telah berserak-serak meninggalkan dia.
52:9 Then they took the king, and carried him up unto the king of Babylon to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he gave judgment upon him.

52:10 And the king of Babylon slew the sons of Zedekiah before his eyes: he slew also all the princes of Judah in Riblah.

52:11 Then he put out the eyes of Zedekiah; and the king of Babylon bound him in chains, and carried him to Babylon, and put him in prison till the day of his death.

52:12 Now in the fifth month, in the tenth day of the month, which was the nineteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, came Nebuzaradan, captain of the guard, which served the king of Babylon, into Jerusalem,

52:14 And all the army of the Chaldeans, that were with the captain of the guard, brake down all the walls of Jerusalem round about.

52:15 Then Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard carried away captive certain of the poor of the people, and the residue of the people that remained in the city, and those that fell away, that fell to the king of Babylon, and the rest of the multitude.

52:16 But Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard left certain of the poor of the land for vinedressers and for husbandmen.

52:18 The caldrons also, and the shovels, and the snuffers, and the bowls, and the spoons, and all the vessels of brass wherewith they ministered, took they away.
52:18 Kuali-kuali, penyodok-penyodok, pisau-pisau, bokor-bokor penyiraman dan cawan-cawan dan segala perkakas tembaga yang dipakai untuk menyelenggarakan kebaktian diambil mereka,
52:19 And the basons, and the fire-pans, and the bowls, and the caldrons, and the candlesticks, and the spoons, and the cups; that which was of gold in gold, and that which was of silver in silver, took the captain of the guard away.
52:19 juga pasu-pasu, perbaraan-perbaraan, bokor-bokor penyiraman, kuali-kuali, kandil-kandil, cawan-cawan dan piala-piala, baik segala yang dari emas maupun segala yang dari perak, diambil oleh kepala pasukan pengawal itu.
52:20 The two pillars, one sea, and twelve brazen bulls that were under the bases, which king Solomon had made in the house of the LORD: the brass of all these vessels was without weight.
52:20 Adapun kedua tiang, laut yang satu itu dan kedua belas lembu tembaga yang ada di bawah kereta penopang, yang dibuat oleh raja Salomo untuk rumah TUHAN, tiada tertimbang tembaga segala perkakas ini.
52:21 And concerning the pillars, the height of one pillar was eighteen cubits; and a fastener of twelve cubits did compass it; and the thickness thereof was four fingers: it was hollow.
52:21 Adapun tiang-tiang itu, satu tiang delapan belas hasta tingginya dan dapat dililit oleh tali yang dua belas hasta panjangnya; tebalnya empat jari dan geronggang dari dalam.
52:22 And a capital of brass was upon it; and the height of one capital was five cubits, with network and pomegranates upon the capitals round about, all of brass. The second pillar also and the pomegranates were like unto these.
52:22 Di atasnya ada ganja dari tembaga; tinggi ganja yang satu itu lima hasta, dan jala-jala dan buah-buah delima ada di atas ganja itu sekeliling, semuanya dari tembaga. Dan tiang yang kedua seperti itu juga. Mengenai buah delima,
52:23 And there were ninety and six pomegranates on a side; and all the pomegranates upon the network were an hundred round about.

52:24 And the captain of the guard took Seraiah the chief priest, and Zephaniah the second priest, and the three keepers of the door:

52:25 He took also out of the city an eunuch, which had the charge of the men of war; and seven men of them that were near the king's person, which were found in the city; and the principal scribe of the host, who mustered the people of the land; and threescore men of the people of the land, that were found in the midst of the city.
52:25 Dari kota itu ditangkapnya seorang pegawai istana yang diangkat mengepalai prajurit-prajurit dan tujuh orang pelayan pribadiraja yang terdapat di kota itu, dan paniterapanglima tentara yang mengerahkan rakyat negeri menjadi tentara, dan enam puluh orang dari rakyat negeri yang terdapat di tengah-tengah kota itu.
52:26 So Nebuzaradan the captain of the guard took them, and brought them to the king of Babylon to Riblah.
52:26 Nebuzaradan, kepala pasukan pengawal, menangkap mereka dan membawa mereka kepada raja Babel, di Ribla.
52:27 And the king of Babylon stroke them, and put them to death in Riblah in the land of Hamath. Thus Judah was carried away captive out of his own land.

52:28 This is the people whom Nebuchadrezzar carried away captive: in the seventh year three thousand Jews and three and twenty:

52:29 In the eighteenth year of Nebuchadrezzar he carried away captive from Jerusalem eight hundred thirty and two persons:

52:31 And it came to pass in the seven and thirtieth year of the captivity of Jehoiachin king of Judah, in the twelfth month, in the five and twentieth day of the month, that Evilmerodach king of Babylon in the first year of his reign lifted up the head of Jehoiachin king of Judah, and brought him forth out of prison.
52:31 Kemudian dalam tahun ketiga puluh tujuh sesudah Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda, dibuang, dalam bulan yang kedua belas, pada tanggal dua puluh lima bulan itu, maka Ewil-Merodakh, raja Babel, dalam tahun ia menjadi raja, menunjukkan belas kasihannya kepada Yoyakhin, raja Yehuda, dengan melepaskannya dari penjara.
52:32 And spoke kindly unto him, and set his throne above the throne of the kings that were with him in Babylon,
52:32 Ewil-Merodakh berbicara baik-baik dengan dia dan memberikan kedudukan kepadanya lebih tinggi dari pada kedudukan raja-raja yang bersama-sama dengan dia di Babel.
52:33 And changed his prison garments: and he did continually eat bread before him all the days of his life.

52:34 And for his diet, there was a continual diet given him of the king of Babylon, every day a portion until the day of his death, all the days of his life.
