1:1 悪しき者のはかりごとに歩まず、罪びとの道に立たず、あざける者の座にすわらぬ人はさいわいである。
1:1 Blessed is the man that walks not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor stands in the way of sinners, nor sits in the seat of the scornful.
1:2 このような人は主のおきてをよろこび、昼も夜もそのおきてを思う。
1:2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD; and in his law does he meditate day and night.
1:3 このような人は流れのほとりに植えられた木の／時が来ると実を結び、その葉もしぼまないように、そのなすところは皆栄える。
1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that brings forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he does shall prosper.
1:4 悪しき者はそうでない、風の吹き去るもみがらのようだ。
1:4 The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.
1:5 それゆえ、悪しき者はさばきに耐えない。罪びとは正しい者のつどいに立つことができない。
1:5 Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.
1:6 主は正しい者の道を知られる。しかし、悪しき者の道は滅びる。
1:6 For the LORD knows the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish.
2:1 なにゆえ、もろもろの国びとは騒ぎたち、もろもろの民はむなしい事をたくらむのか。
2:1 Why do the heathen rage, and the people imagine a vain thing?
2:2 地のもろもろの王は立ち構え、もろもろのつかさはともに、はかり、主とその油そそがれた者とに逆らって言う、
2:2 The kings of the earth set themselves, and the rulers take counsel together, against the LORD, and against his anointed, saying,
2:3 「われらは彼らのかせをこわし、彼らのきずなを解き捨てるであろう」と。
2:3 Let us break their bands asunder, and cast away their cords from us.
2:4 天に座する者は笑い、主は彼らをあざけられるであろう。
2:4 He that sits in the heavens shall laugh: the LORD shall have them in derision.
2:5 そして主は憤りをもって彼らに語り、激しい怒りをもって彼らを恐れ惑わせて言われる、
2:5 Then shall he speak unto them in his wrath, and vex them in his sore displeasure.
2:6 「わたしはわが王を聖なる山シオンに立てた」と。
2:6 Yet have I set my king upon my holy hill of Zion.
2:7 わたしは主の詔をのべよう。主はわたしに言われた、「おまえはわたしの子だ。きょう、わたしはおまえを生んだ。
2:7 I will declare the decree: the LORD has said unto me, You are my Son; this day have I begotten you.
2:8 わたしに求めよ、わたしはもろもろの国を／嗣業としておまえに与え、地のはてまでもおまえの所有として与える。
2:8 Ask of me, and I shall give you the heathen for yours inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for your possession.
2:9 おまえは鉄のつえをもって彼らを打ち破り、陶工の作る器物のように彼らを／打ち砕くであろう」と。
2:9 You shall break them with a rod of iron; you shall dash them in pieces like a potter's vessel.
2:10 それゆえ、もろもろの王よ、賢くあれ、地のつかさらよ、戒めをうけよ。
2:10 Be wise now therefore, O all of you kings: be instructed, all of you judges of the earth.
2:11 恐れをもって主に仕え、おののきをもって
2:11 Serve the LORD with fear, and rejoice with trembling.
2:12 その足に口づけせよ。さもないと主は怒って、あなたがたを道で滅ぼされるであろう、その憤りがすみやかに燃えるからである。すべて主に寄り頼む者はさいわいである。
2:12 Kiss the Son, lest he be angry, and all of you perish from the way, when his wrath is kindled but a little. Blessed are all they that put their trust in him.

3:1 主よ、わたしに敵する者のいかに多いことでしょう。わたしに逆らって立つ者が多く、
3:1 Lord, how are they increased that trouble me! many are they that rise up against me.
3:2 「彼には神の助けがない」と、わたしについて言う者が多いのです。〔セラ
3:2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.
3:3 しかし主よ、あなたはわたしを囲む盾、わが栄え、わたしの頭を、もたげてくださるかたです。
3:3 But you, O LORD, are a shield for me; my glory, and the lifter up of mine head.
3:4 わたしが声をあげて主を呼ばわると、主は聖なる山からわたしに答えられる。〔セラ
3:4 I cried unto the LORD with my voice, and he heard me out of his holy hill. Selah.
3:5 わたしはふして眠り、また目をさます。主がわたしをささえられるからだ。
3:5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.
3:6 わたしを囲んで立ち構える／ちよろずの民をもわたしは恐れない。
3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.
3:7 主よ、お立ちください。わが神よ、わたしをお救いください。あなたはわたしのすべての敵のほおを打ち、悪しき者の歯を折られるのです。
3:7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for you have smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; you have broken the teeth of the ungodly.
3:8 救は主のものです。どうかあなたの祝福が／あなたの民の上にありますように。〔セラ
3:8 Salvation belongs unto the LORD: your blessing is upon your people. Selah.

4:1 わたしの義を助け守られる神よ、わたしが呼ばわる時、お答えください。あなたはわたしが悩んでいた時、わたしをくつろがせてくださいました。わたしをあわれみ、わたしの祈をお聞きください。
4:1 Hear me when I call, O God of my righteousness: you have enlarged me when I was in distress; have mercy upon me, and hear my prayer.
4:2 人の子らよ、いつまでわたしの誉をはずかしめるのか。いつまでむなしい言葉を愛し、偽りを慕い求めるのか。〔セラ
4:2 O all of you sons of men, how long will all of you turn my glory into shame? how long will all of you love vanity, and seek after leasing? Selah.
4:3 しかしあなたがたは知るがよい、主は神を敬う人をご自分のために聖別されたことを。主はわたしが呼ばわる時におききくださる。
4:3 But know that the LORD has set apart him that is godly for himself: the LORD will hear when I call unto him.
4:4 あなたがたは怒っても、罪を犯してはならない。床の上で静かに自分の心に語りなさい。〔セラ
4:4 Stand in awe, and sin not: commune with your own heart upon your bed, and be still. Selah.
4:5 義のいけにえをささげて主に寄り頼みなさい。
4:5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness, and put your trust in the LORD.
4:6 多くの人は言う、「どうか、わたしたちに良い事が見られるように。主よ、どうか、み顔の光を／わたしたちの上に照されるように」と。
4:6 There be many that say, Who will show us any good? LORD, lift you up the light of your countenance upon us.
4:7 あなたがわたしの心にお与えになった喜びは、穀物と、ぶどう酒の豊かな時の喜びに／まさるものでした。
4:7 You have put gladness in my heart, more than in the time that their corn and their wine increased.
4:8 わたしは安らかに伏し、また眠ります。主よ、わたしを安らかにおらせてくださるのは、ただあなただけです。
4:8 I will both lay me down in peace, and sleep: for you, LORD, only make me dwell in safety.

5:1 主よ、わたしの言葉に耳を傾け、わたしの嘆きに、み心をとめてください。
5:1 Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation.
5:2 わが王、わが神よ、わたしの叫びの声をお聞きください。わたしはあなたに祈っています。
5:2 Hearken unto the voice of my cry, my King, and my God: for unto you will I pray.
5:3 主よ、朝ごとにあなたはわたしの声を聞かれます。わたしは朝ごとにあなたのために／いけにえを備えて待ち望みます。
5:3 My voice shall you hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning will I direct my prayer unto you, and will look up.
5:4 あなたは悪しき事を喜ばれる神ではない。悪人はあなたのもとに身を寄せることはできない。
5:4 For you are not a God that has pleasure in wickedness: neither shall evil dwell with you.
5:5 高ぶる者はあなたの目の前に立つことはできない。あなたはすべて悪を行う者を憎まれる。
5:5 The foolish shall not stand in your sight: you hate all workers of iniquity.
5:6 あなたは偽りを言う者を滅ぼされる。主は血を流す者と、人をだます者を忌みきらわれる。
5:6 You shall destroy them that speak leasing: the LORD will detest the bloody and deceitful man.
5:7 しかし、わたしはあなたの豊かないつくしみによって、あなたの家に入り、聖なる宮にむかって、かしこみ伏し拝みます。
5:7 But as for me, I will come into your house in the multitude of your mercy: and in your fear will I worship toward your holy temple.
5:8 主よ、わたしのあだのゆえに、あなたの義をもってわたしを導き、わたしの前にあなたの道をまっすぐにしてください。
5:8 Lead me, O LORD, in your righteousness because of mine enemies; make your way straight before my face.
5:9 彼らの口には真実がなく、彼らの心には滅びがあり、そののどは開いた墓、その舌はへつらいを言うのです。
5:9 For there is no faithfulness in their mouth; their inward part is very wickedness; their throat is an open tomb; they flatter with their tongue.
5:10 神よ、どうか彼らにその罪を負わせ、そのはかりごとによって、みずから倒れさせ、その多くのとがのゆえに彼らを追いだしてください。彼らはあなたにそむいたからです。
5:10 Destroy you them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels; cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions; for they have rebelled against you.
5:11 しかし、すべてあなたに寄り頼む者を喜ばせ、とこしえに喜び呼ばわらせてください。また、み名を愛する者があなたによって／喜びを得るように、彼らをお守りください。
5:11 But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice: let them ever shout for joy, because you defend them: let them also that love your name be joyful in you.
5:12 主よ、あなたは正しい者を祝福し、盾をもってするように、恵みをもってこれをおおい守られます。
5:12 For you, LORD, will bless the righteous; with favour will you compass him as with a shield.

6:1 主よ、あなたの怒りをもって、わたしを責めず、あなたの激しい怒りをもって、わたしを懲らしめないでください。
6:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in yours anger, neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
6:2 主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしは弱り衰えています。主よ、わたしをいやしてください。わたしの骨は悩み苦しんでいます。
6:2 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
6:3 わたしの魂もまたいたく悩み苦しんでいます。主よ、あなたはいつまでお怒りになるのですか。
6:3 My soul is also sore vexed: but you, O LORD, how long?
6:4 主よ、かえりみて、わたしの命をお救いください。あなたのいつくしみにより、わたしをお助けください。
6:4 Return, O LORD, deliver my soul: oh save me for your mercies' sake.
6:5 死においては、あなたを覚えるものはなく、陰府においては、だれがあなたを／ほめたたえることができましょうか。
6:5 For in death there is no remembrance of you: in the grave who shall give you thanks?
6:6 わたしは嘆きによって疲れ、夜ごとに涙をもって、わたしのふしどをただよわせ、わたしのしとねをぬらした。
6:6 I am weary with my groaning; all the night make I my bed to swim; I water my couch with my tears.
6:7 わたしの目は憂いによって衰え、もろもろのあだのゆえに弱くなった。
6:7 Mine eye is consumed because of grief; it waxs old because of all mine enemies.
6:8 すべて悪を行う者よ、わたしを離れ去れ。主はわたしの泣く声を聞かれた。
6:8 Depart from me, all you workers of iniquity; for the LORD has heard the voice of my weeping.
6:9 主はわたしの願いを聞かれた。主はわたしの祈をうけられる。
6:9 The LORD has heard my supplication; the LORD will receive my prayer.
6:10 わたしの敵は恥じて、いたく悩み苦しみ、彼らは退いて、たちどころに恥をうけるであろう。
6:10 Let all mine enemies be ashamed and sore vexed: let them return and be ashamed suddenly.

7:1 わが神、主よ、わたしはあなたに寄り頼みます。どうかすべての追い迫る者からわたしを救い、わたしをお助けください。
7:1 O LORD my God, in you do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me:
7:2 さもないと彼らは、ししのように、わたしをかき裂き、助ける者の来ないうちに、引いて行くでしょう。
7:2 Lest he tear my soul like a lion, rending it in pieces, while there is none to deliver.
7:3 わが神、主よ、もしわたしがこの事を行ったならば、もしわたしの手によこしまな事があるならば、
7:3 O LORD my God, If I have done this; if there be iniquity in my hands;
7:4 もしわたしの友に悪をもって報いたことがあり、ゆえなく、敵のものを略奪したことがあるならば、
7:4 If I have rewarded evil unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause is mine enemy:)
7:5 敵にわたしを追い捕えさせ、わたしの命を地に踏みにじらせ、わたしの魂をちりにゆだねさせてください。〔セラ
7:5 Let the enemy persecute my soul, and take it; yea, let him tread down my life upon the earth, and lay mine honour in the dust. Selah.
7:6 主よ、怒りをもって立ち、わたしの敵の憤りにむかって立ちあがり、わたしのために目をさましてください。あなたはさばきを命じられました。
7:6 Arise, O LORD, in yours anger, lift up yourself because of the rage of mine enemies: and awake for me to the judgment that you have commanded.
7:7 もろもろの民をあなたのまわりにつどわせ、その上なる高みくらにおすわりください。
7:7 So shall the congregation of the people compass you about: for their sakes therefore return you on high.
7:8 主はもろもろの民をさばかれます。主よ、わたしの義と、わたしにある誠実とに従って、わたしをさばいてください。
7:8 The LORD shall judge the people: judge me, O LORD, according to my righteousness, and according to mine integrity that is in me.
7:9 どうか悪しき者の悪を断ち、正しき者を堅く立たせてください。義なる神よ、あなたは人の心と思いとを調べられます。
7:9 Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end; but establish the just: for the righteous God tries the hearts and reins.
7:10 わたしを守る盾は神である。神は心の直き者を救われる。
7:10 My defence is of God, which saves the upright in heart.
7:11 神は義なるさばきびと、日ごとに憤りを起される神である。
7:11 God judges the righteous, and God is angry with the wicked every day.
7:12 もし人が悔い改めないならば、神はそのつるぎをとぎ、その弓を張って構え、
7:12 If he turn not, he will sharpen his sword; he has bent his bow, and made it ready.
7:13 また死に至らせる武器を備え、その矢を火矢とされる。
7:13 He has also prepared for him the instruments of death; he ordains his arrows against the persecutors.
7:14 見よ、悪しき者は邪悪をはらみ、害毒をやどし、偽りを生む。
7:14 Behold, he labors with iniquity, and has conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
7:15 彼は穴を掘って、それを深くし、みずから作った穴に陥る。
7:15 He made a pit, and dug it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
7:16 その害毒は自分のかしらに帰り、その強暴は自分のこうべに下る。
7:16 His mischief shall return upon his own head, and his violent dealing shall come down upon his own crown of the head.
7:17 わたしは主にむかって、その義にふさわしい感謝をささげ、いと高き者なる主の名をほめ歌うであろう。
7:17 I will praise the LORD according to his righteousness: and will sing praise to the name of the LORD most high.

8:1 主、われらの主よ、あなたの名は地にあまねく、いかに尊いことでしょう。あなたの栄光は天の上にあり、
8:1 O LORD, our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth! who have set your glory above the heavens.
8:2 みどりごと、ちのみごとの口によって、ほめたたえられています。あなたは敵と恨みを晴らす者とを静めるため、あだに備えて、とりでを設けられました。
8:2 Out of the mouth of babes and infants have you ordained strength because of yours enemies, that you might still the enemy and the avenger.
8:3 わたしは、あなたの指のわざなる天を見、あなたが設けられた月と星とを見て思います。
8:3 When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have ordained;
8:4 人は何者なので、これをみ心にとめられるのですか、人の子は何者なので、これを顧みられるのですか。
8:4 What is man, that you are mindful of him? and the son of man, that you visit him?
8:5 ただ少しく人を神よりも低く造って、栄えと誉とをこうむらせ、
8:5 For you have made him a little lower than the angels, and have crowned him with glory and honour.
8:6 これにみ手のわざを治めさせ、よろずの物をその足の下におかれました。
8:6 You made him to have dominion over the works of your hands; you have put all things under his feet:
8:7 すべての羊と牛、また野の獣、
8:7 All sheep and oxen, yea, and the beasts of the field;
8:8 空の鳥と海の魚、海路を通うものまでも。
8:8 The fowl of the air, and the fish of the sea, and whatsoever passes through the paths of the seas.
8:9 主、われらの主よ、あなたの名は地にあまねく、いかに尊いことでしょう。
8:9 O LORD our Lord, how excellent is your name in all the earth!
Psalms / 詩篇 [聖歌隊の指揮者によってムツラベンのしらべにあわせてうたわせたダビデの歌 ]
9:1 わたしは心をつくして主に感謝し、あなたのくすしきみわざを／ことごとく宣べ伝えます。
9:1 I will praise you, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will show forth all your marvellous works.
9:2 いと高き者よ、あなたによって／わたしは喜びかつ楽しみ、あなたの名をほめ歌います。
9:2 I will be glad and rejoice in you: I will sing praise to your name, O you most High.
9:3 わたしの敵は退くとき、つまずき倒れてあなたの前に滅びました。
9:3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at your presence.
9:4 あなたがわたしの正しい訴えを／助け守られたからです。あなたはみくらに座して、正しいさばきをされました。
9:4 For you have maintained my right and my cause; you sat in the throne judging right.
9:5 あなたはもろもろの国民を責め、悪しき者を滅ぼし、永久に彼らの名を消し去られました。
9:5 You have rebuked the heathen, you have destroyed the wicked, you have put out their name for ever and ever.
9:6 敵は絶えはてて、とこしえに滅び、あなたが滅ぼされたもろもろの町は／その記憶さえ消えうせました。
9:6 O you enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and you have destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.
9:7 しかし主はとこしえに、み位に座し、さばきのために、みくらを設けられました。
9:7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he has prepared his throne for judgment.
9:8 主は正義をもって世界をさばき、公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれます。
9:8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.
9:9 主はしえたげられる者のとりで、なやみの時のとりでです。
9:9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.
9:10 み名を知る者はあなたに寄り頼みます。主よ、あなたを尋ね求める者を／あなたは捨てられたことがないからです。
9:10 And they that know your name will put their trust in you: for you, LORD, have not forsaken them that seek you.
9:11 シオンに住まわれる主にむかってほめうたい、そのみわざをもろもろの民のなかに宣べ伝えよ。
9:11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwells in Zion: declare among the people his doings.
9:12 血を流す者にあだを報いられる主は彼らを心にとめ、苦しむ者の叫びをお忘れにならないからです。
9:12 When he makes inquisition for blood, he remembers them: he forgets not the cry of the humble.
9:13 主よ、わたしをあわれんでください。死の門からわたしを引きあげられる主よ、あだする者のわたしを悩ますのを／みそなわしてください。
9:13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, you that lift me up from the gates of death:
9:14 そうすれば、わたしはあなたのすべての誉を述べ、シオンの娘の門で、あなたの救を喜ぶことができましょう。
9:14 That I may show forth all your praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in your salvation.
9:15 もろもろの国民は自分の作った穴に陥り、隠し設けた網に自分の足を捕えられる。
9:15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.
9:16 主はみずからを知らせ、さばきを行われた。悪しき者は自分の手で作ったわなに捕えられる。〔ヒガヨン、セラ
9:16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executes: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.
9:17 悪しき者、また神を忘れるもろもろの国民は／陰府へ去って行く。
9:17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.
9:18 貧しい者は常に忘れられるのではない。苦しむ者の望みはとこしえに滅びるのではない。
9:18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.
9:19 主よ、立ちあがってください。人に勝利を得させず、もろもろの国民に、み前でさばきを受けさせてください。
9:19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in your sight.
9:20 主よ、彼らに恐れを起させ、もろもろの国民に／自分がただ、人であることを知らせてください。〔セラ
9:20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
10:1 主よ、なにゆえ遠く離れて／立たれるのですか。なにゆえ悩みの時に身を隠されるのですか。
10:1 Why stand you far off, O LORD? why hide you yourself in times of trouble?
10:2 悪しき者は高ぶって貧しい者を激しく責めます。どうぞ彼らがその企てたはかりごとに／みずから捕えられますように。
10:2 The wicked in his pride does persecute the poor: let them be taken in the devices that they have imagined.
10:3 悪しき者は自分の心の願いを誇り、むさぼる者は主をのろい、かつ捨てる。
10:3 For the wicked boasts of his heart's desire, and blesses the covetous, whom the LORD detests.
10:4 悪しき者は誇り顔をして、神を求めない。その思いに、すべて「神はない」という。
10:4 The wicked, through the pride of his countenance, will not seek after God: God is not in all his thoughts.
10:5 彼の道は常に栄え、あなたのさばきは彼を離れて高く、彼はそのすべてのあだを口先で吹く。
10:5 His ways are always grievous; your judgments are far above out of his sight: as for all his enemies, he puffs at them.
10:6 彼は心の内に言う、「わたしは動かされることはなく、世々わざわいにあうことがない」と。
10:6 He has said in his heart, I shall not be moved: for I shall never be in adversity.
10:7 その口はのろいと、欺きと、しえたげとに満ち、その舌の下には害毒と不正とがある。
10:7 His mouth is full of cursing and deceit and fraud: under his tongue is mischief and vanity.
10:8 彼は村里の隠れ場におり、忍びやかな所で罪のない者を殺す。その目は寄るべなき者をうかがい、
10:8 He sits in the lurking places of the villages: in the secret places does he murder the innocent: his eyes are privately set against the poor.
10:9 隠れ場にひそむししのように、ひそかに待ち伏せする。彼は貧しい者を捕えようと待ち伏せし、貧しい者を網にひきいれて捕える。
10:9 He lies in wait secretly as a lion in his den: he lies in wait to catch the poor: he does catch the poor, when he draws him into his net.
10:10 寄るべなき者は彼の力によって／打ちくじかれ、衰え、倒れる。
10:10 He crouches, and humbles himself, that the poor may fall by his strong ones.
10:11 彼は心のうちに言う、「神は忘れた、神はその顔を隠した、神は絶えて見ることはなかろう」と。
10:11 He has said in his heart, God has forgotten: he hides his face; he will never see it.
10:12 主よ、立ちあがってください。神よ、み手をあげてください。苦しむ者を忘れないでください。
10:12 Arise, O LORD; O God, lift up yours hand: forget not the humble.
10:13 なにゆえ、悪しき者は神を侮り、心のうちに／「あなたはとがめることをしない」と言うのですか。
10:13 Wherefore does the wicked contemn God? he has said in his heart, You will not require it.
10:14 あなたはみそなわし、悩みと苦しみとを見て、それをみ手に取られます。寄るべなき者はあなたに身をゆだねるのです。あなたはいつもみなしごを助けられました。
10:14 You have seen it; for you behold mischief and spite, to requite it with your hand: the poor commits himself unto you; you are the helper of the fatherless.
10:15 悪しき者と悪を行う者の腕を折り、その悪を一つも残さないまでに探り出してください。
10:15 Break you the arm of the wicked and the evil man: seek out his wickedness till you find none.
10:16 主はとこしえに王でいらせられる。／もろもろの国民は滅びて／主の国から跡を断つでしょう。
10:16 The LORD is King for ever and ever: the heathen are perished out of his land.
10:17 主よ、あなたは柔和な者の願いを聞き、その心を強くし、耳を傾けて、
10:17 LORD, you have heard the desire of the humble: you will prepare their heart, you will cause yours ear to hear:
10:18 みなしごと、しえたげられる者とのために／さばきを行われます。地に属する人は再び人を脅かすことはないでしょう。
10:18 To judge the fatherless and the oppressed, that the man of the earth may no more oppress.

11:1 In the LORD put I my trust: how say all of you to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
11:2 見よ、悪しき者は、暗やみで、心の直き者を射ようと弓を張り、弦に矢をつがえている。
11:2 For, lo, the wicked bend their bow, they make ready their arrow upon the string, that they may privately shoot at the upright in heart.
11:3 基が取りこわされるならば、正しい者は何をなし得ようか」と。
11:3 If the foundations be destroyed, what can the righteous do?
11:4 主はその聖なる宮にいまし、主のみくらは天にあり、その目は人の子らをみそなわし、そのまぶたは人の子らを調べられる。
11:4 The LORD is in his holy temple, the LORD's throne is in heaven: his eyes behold, his eyelids try, the children of men.
11:5 主は正しき者をも、悪しき者をも調べ、そのみ心は乱暴を好む者を憎まれる。
11:5 The LORD tries the righteous: but the wicked and him that loves violence his soul hates.
11:6 主は悪しき者の上に炭火と硫黄とを降らせられる。燃える風は彼らがその杯にうくべきものである。
11:6 Upon the wicked he shall rain snares, fire and brimstone, and an horrible tempest: this shall be the portion of their cup.
11:7 主は正しくいまして、正しい事を愛されるからである。直き者は主のみ顔を仰ぎ見るであろう。
11:7 For the righteous LORD loves righteousness; his countenance does behold the upright.

12:1 主よ、お助けください。神を敬う人は絶え、忠信な者は人の子らのなかから消えうせました。
12:1 Help, LORD; for the godly man ceases; for the faithful fail from among the children of men.
12:2 人はみなその隣り人に偽りを語り、へつらいのくちびると、ふたごころとをもって語る。
12:2 They speak vanity every one with his neighbour: with flattering lips and with a double heart do they speak.
12:3 主はすべてのへつらいのくちびると、大きな事を語る舌とを断たれるように。
12:3 The LORD shall cut off all flattering lips, and the tongue that speaks proud things:
12:4 彼らは言う、「わたしたちは舌をもって勝を得よう、わたしたちのくちびるはわたしたちのものだ、だれがわたしたちの主人であるか」と。
12:4 Who have said, With our tongue will we prevail; our lips are our own: who is lord over us?
12:5 主は言われる、「貧しい者がかすめられ、乏しい者が嘆くゆえに、わたしはいま立ちあがって、彼らをその慕い求める安全な所に置こう」と。
12:5 For the oppression of the poor, for the sighing of the needy, now will I arise, says the LORD; I will set him in safety from him that puffs at him.
12:6 主のことばは清き言葉である。地に設けた炉で練り、七たびきよめた銀のようである。
12:6 The words of the LORD are pure words: as silver tried in a furnace of earth, purified seven times.
12:7 主よ、われらを保ち、とこしえにこの人々から免れさせてください。
12:7 You shall keep them, O LORD, you shall preserve them from this generation for ever.
12:8 卑しい事が人の子のなかにあがめられている時、悪しき者はいたる所でほしいままに歩いています。
12:8 The wicked walk on every side, when the vilest men are exalted.

13:2 いつまで、わたしは魂に痛みを負い、ひねもす心に／悲しみをいだかなければならないのですか。いつまで敵はわたしの上にあがめられるのですか。
13:2 How long shall I take counsel in my soul, having sorrow in my heart daily? how long shall mine enemy be exalted over me?
13:3 わが神、主よ、みそなわして、わたしに答え、わたしの目を明らかにしてください。さもないと、わたしは死の眠りに陥り、
13:3 Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes, lest I sleep the sleep of death;

14:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. They are corrupt, they have done abominable works, there is none that does good.
14:2 主は天から人の子らを見おろして、賢い者、神をたずね求める者が／あるかないかを見られた。
14:2 The LORD looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.
14:3 彼らはみな迷い、みなひとしく腐れた。善を行う者はない、ひとりもない。
14:3 They are all gone aside, they are all together become filthy: there is none that does good, no, not one.
14:4 すべて悪を行う者は悟りがないのか。彼らは物食うようにわが民をくらい、また主を呼ぶことをしない。
14:4 Have all the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread, and call not upon the LORD.
14:5 その時、彼らは大いに恐れた。神は正しい者のやからと共におられるからである。
14:5 There were they in great fear: for God is in the generation of the righteous.
14:6 あなたがたは貧しい者の計画を／はずかしめようとする。しかし主は彼の避け所である。
14:6 All of you have shamed the counsel of the poor, because the LORD is his refuge.
14:7 どうか、シオンからイスラエルの救が出るように。主がその民の繁栄を回復されるとき、ヤコブは喜び、イスラエルは楽しむであろう。
14:7 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! when the LORD brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.
15:1 主よ、あなたの幕屋にやどるべき者はだれですか、あなたの聖なる山に住むべき者はだれですか。
15:1 Lord, who shall abide in your tabernacle? who shall dwell in your holy hill?
15:2 直く歩み、義を行い、心から真実を語る者、
15:2 He that walks uprightly, and works righteousness, and speaks the truth in his heart.
15:3 その舌をもってそしらず、その友に悪をなさず、隣り人に対するそしりを取りあげず、
15:3 He that backbites not with his tongue, nor does evil to his neighbour, nor takes up a reproach against his neighbour.
15:4 その目は神に捨てられた者を卑しめ、主を恐れる者を尊び、誓った事は自分の損害になっても変えることなく、
15:4 In whose eyes a vile person is contemned; but he honors them that fear the LORD. He that swears to his own hurt, and changes not.
15:5 利息をとって金銭を貸すことなく、まいないを取って／罪のない者の不利をはかることをしない人である。これらの事を行う者は／とこしえに動かされることはない。
15:5 He that puts not out his money to interest, nor takes reward against the innocent. He that does these things shall never be moved.
16:1 神よ、わたしをお守りください。わたしはあなたに寄り頼みます。
16:1 Preserve me, O God: for in you do I put my trust.
16:2 わたしは主に言う、「あなたはわたしの主、あなたのほかにわたしの幸はない」と。
16:2 O my soul, you have said unto the LORD, You are my Lord: my goodness extends not to you;
16:3 地にある聖徒は、すべてわたしの喜ぶすぐれた人々である。
16:3 But to the saints that are in the earth, and to the excellent, in whom is all my delight.
16:4 おおよそ、ほかの神を選ぶ者は悲しみを増す。わたしは彼らのささげる血の灌祭を注がず、その名を口にとなえることをしない。
16:4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied that hasten after another god: their drink offerings of blood will I not offer, nor take up their names into my lips.
16:5 主はわたしの嗣業、またわたしの杯にうくべきもの。あなたはわたしの分け前を守られる。
16:5 The LORD is the portion of mine inheritance and of my cup: you maintain my lot.
16:6 測りなわは、わたしのために好ましい所に落ちた。まことにわたしは良い嗣業を得た。
16:6 The lines are fallen unto me in pleasant places; yea, I have a goodly heritage.
16:7 わたしにさとしをさずけられる主をほめまつる。夜はまた、わたしの心がわたしを教える。
16:7 I will bless the LORD, who has given me counsel: my reins also instruct me in the night seasons.
16:8 わたしは常に主をわたしの前に置く。主がわたしの右にいますゆえ、わたしは動かされることはない。
16:8 I have set the LORD always before me: because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.
16:9 このゆえに、わたしの心は楽しみ、わたしの魂は喜ぶ。わたしの身もまた安らかである。
16:9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices: my flesh also shall rest in hope.

16:10 For you will not leave my soul in hell; neither will you suffer yours Holy One to see corruption.

16:11 You will show me the path of life: in your presence is fullness of joy; at your right hand there are pleasures for evermore.

17:1 Hear the right, O LORD, attend unto my cry, give ear unto my prayer, that goes not out of feigned lips.
17:2 どうかわたしについての宣告がみ前から出て、あなたの目が公平をみられるように。
17:2 Let my sentence come forth from your presence; let yours eyes behold the things that are equal.
17:3 あなたがわたしの心をためし、夜、わたしに臨み、わたしを試みられても、わたしのうちに／なんの悪い思いをも見いだされないでしょう。わたしの口も罪を犯しません。
17:3 You have proved mine heart; you have visited me in the night; you have tried me, and shall find nothing; I am purposed that my mouth shall not transgress.
17:4 人のおこないの事をいえば、あなたのくちびるの言葉によって、わたしは不法な者の道を避けました。
17:4 Concerning the works of men, by the word of your lips I have kept me from the paths of the destroyer.
17:5 わたしの歩みはあなたの道に堅く立ち、わたしの足はすべることがなかったのです。
17:5 Hold up my activities in your paths, that my footsteps slip not.
17:6 神よ、わたしはあなたに呼ばわります。あなたはわたしに答えられます。どうか耳を傾けて、わたしの述べることをお聞きください。
17:6 I have called upon you, for you will hear me, O God: incline yours ear unto me, and hear my speech.
17:7 寄り頼む者をそのあだから右の手で救われる者よ、あなたのいつくしみを驚くばかりにあらわし、
17:7 Show your marvellous loving kindness, O you that save by your right hand them which put their trust in you from those that rise up against them.
17:8 ひとみのようにわたしを守り、みつばさの陰にわたしを隠し、
17:8 Keep me as the apple of the eye, hide me under the shadow of your wings,
17:9 わたしをしえたげる悪しき者から、わたしを囲む恐ろしい敵から、のがれさせてください。
17:9 From the wicked that oppress me, from my deadly enemies, who compass me about.
17:10 彼らはその心を閉じて、あわれむことなく、その口をもって高ぶって語るのです。
17:10 They are enclosed in their own fat: with their mouth they speak proudly.
17:11 彼らはわたしを追いつめ、わたしを囲み、わたしを地に投げ倒さんと、その目をそそぎます。
17:11 They have now compassed us in our steps: they have set their eyes bowing down to the earth;

17:12 Like a lion that is greedy of his prey, and as it were a young lion lurking in secret places.
17:13 主よ、立ちあがって、彼らに立ちむかい、彼らを倒してください。つるぎをもって悪しき者からわたしのいのちをお救いください。
17:13 Arise, O LORD, disappoint him, cast him down: deliver my soul from the wicked, which is your sword:
17:14 主よ、み手をもって人々からわたしをお救いください。すなわち自分の分け前をこの世で受け、あなたの宝をもってその腹を満たされる／世の人々からわたしをお救いください。彼らは多くの子に飽き足り、その富を幼な子に残すのです。
17:14 From men which are your hand, O LORD, from men of the world, which have their portion in this life, and whose belly you fill with your hid treasure: they are full of children, and leave the rest of their substance to their babes.
17:15 しかしわたしは義にあって、み顔を見、目ざめる時、みかたちを見て、満ち足りるでしょう。
17:15 As for me, I will behold your face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with your likeness.

18:1 わが力なる主よ、わたしはあなたを愛します。
18:1 I will love you, O LORD, my strength.
18:2 主はわが岩、わが城、わたしを救う者、わが神、わが寄り頼む岩、わが盾、わが救の角、わが高きやぐらです。
18:2 The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower.
18:3 わたしはほめまつるべき主に呼ばわって、わたしの敵から救われるのです。
18:3 I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised: so shall I be saved from mine enemies.
18:4 死の綱は、わたしを取り巻き、滅びの大水は、わたしを襲いました。
18:4 The sorrows of death compassed me, and the floods of ungodly men made me afraid.
18:5 陰府の綱は、わたしを囲み、死のわなは、わたしに立ちむかいました。
18:5 The sorrows of hell compassed me about: the snares of death prevented me.
18:6 わたしは悩みのうちに主に呼ばわり、わが神に叫び求めました。主はその宮からわたしの声を聞かれ、主にさけぶわたしの叫びがその耳に達しました。
18:6 In my distress I called upon the LORD, and cried unto my God: he heard my voice out of his temple, and my cry came before him, even into his ears.
18:7 そのとき地は揺れ動き、山々の基は震い動きました。主がお怒りになったからです。
18:7 Then the earth shook and trembled; the foundations also of the hills moved and were shaken, because he was angry.
18:8 煙はその鼻から立ちのぼり、火はその口から出て焼きつくし、炭はそれによって燃えあがりました。
18:8 There went up a smoke out of his nostrils, and fire out of his mouth devoured: coals were kindled by it.
18:9 主は天をたれて下られ、暗やみがその足の下にありました。
18:9 He bowed the heavens also, and came down: and darkness was under his feet.
18:10 主はケルブに乗って飛び、風の翼をもってかけり、
18:10 And he rode upon a cherub, and did fly: yea, he did fly upon the wings of the wind.
18:11 やみをおおいとして、自分のまわりに置き、水を含んだ暗い濃き雲をその幕屋とされました。
18:11 He made darkness his secret place; his pavilion round about him were dark waters and thick clouds of the skies.
18:12 そのみ前の輝きから濃き雲を破って、ひょうと燃える炭とが降ってきました。
18:12 At the brightness that was before him his thick clouds passed, hail stones and coals of fire.
18:13 主はまた天に雷をとどろかせ、いと高き者がみ声を出されると、ひょうと燃える炭とが降ってきました。
18:13 The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Highest gave his voice; hail stones and coals of fire.
18:14 主は矢を放って彼らを散らし、いなずまをひらめかして彼らを打ち敗られました。
18:14 Yea, he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; and he shot out lightnings, and humiliated them.
18:15 主よ、そのとき、あなたのとがめと、あなたの鼻のいぶきとによって、海の底はあらわれ、地の基があらわになったのです。
18:15 Then the channels of waters were seen, and the foundations of the world were discovered at your rebuke, O LORD, at the blast of the breath of your nostrils.
18:16 主は高い所からみ手を伸べて、わたしを捕え、大水からわたしを引きあげ、
18:16 He sent from above, he took me, he drew me out of many waters.
18:17 わたしの強い敵と、わたしを憎む者とから／わたしを助け出されました。彼らはわたしにまさって強かったからです。
18:17 He delivered me from my strong enemy, and from them which hated me: for they were too strong for me.
18:18 彼らはわたしの災の日にわたしを襲いました。しかし主はわたしのささえとなられました。
18:18 They prevented me in the day of my calamity: but the LORD was my stay.
18:19 主はわたしを広い所につれ出し、わたしを喜ばれるがゆえに、わたしを助けられました。
18:19 He brought me forth also into a large place; he delivered me, because he delighted in me.
18:20 主はわたしの義にしたがってわたしに報い、わたしの手の清きにしたがって／わたしに報いかえされました。
18:20 The LORD rewarded me according to my righteousness; according to the cleanness of my hands has he recompensed me.
18:21 わたしは主の道を守り、悪意をもって、わが神を離れたことがなかったのです、
18:21 For I have kept the ways of the LORD, and have not wickedly departed from my God.
18:22 そのすべてのおきてはわたしの前にあって、わたしはその定めを捨てたことがなかったのです。
18:22 For all his judgments were before me, and I did not put away his statutes from me.
18:23 わたしは主の前に欠けたところがなく、自分を守って罪を犯しませんでした。
18:23 I was also upright before him, and I kept myself from mine iniquity.
18:24 このゆえに主はわたしの義にしたがい、その目の前にわたしの手の清きにしたがって／わたしに報いられました。
18:24 Therefore has the LORD recompensed me according to my righteousness, according to the cleanness of my hands in his eyesight.
18:25 あなたはいつくしみある者には、いつくしみある者となり、欠けたところのない者には、欠けたところのない者となり、
18:25 With the merciful you will show yourself merciful; with an upright man you will show yourself upright;
18:26 清い者には、清い者となり、ひがんだ者には、ひがんだ者となられます。
18:26 With the pure you will show yourself pure; and with the perverse you will show yourself perverse.
18:27 あなたは苦しんでいる民を救われますが、高ぶる目をひくくされるのです。
18:27 For you will save the afflicted people; but will bring down high looks.
18:28 あなたはわたしのともしびをともし、わが神、主はわたしのやみを照されます。
18:28 For you will light my candle: the LORD my God will enlighten my darkness.
18:29 まことに、わたしはあなたによって敵軍を打ち破り、わが神によって城壁をとび越えることができます。
18:29 For by you I have run through a troop; and by my God have I leaped over a wall.
18:30 この神こそ、その道は完全であり、主の言葉は真実です。主はすべて寄り頼む者の盾です。
18:30 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the LORD is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
18:31 主のほかに、だれが神でしょうか。われらの神のほかに、だれが岩でしょうか。
18:31 For who is God save the LORD? or who is a rock save our God?
18:32 神はわたしに力を帯びさせ、わたしの道を安全にされました。
18:32 It is God that girds me with strength, and makes my way perfect.
18:33 神はわたしの足をめじかの足のようにされ、わたしを高い所に安全に立たせ、
18:33 He makes my feet like hinds' feet, and sets me upon my high places.
18:34 わたしの手を戦いに慣らされたので、わたしの腕は青銅の弓をもひくことができます。
18:34 He teaches my hands to war, so that a bow of steel is broken by mine arms.
18:35 あなたはその救の盾をわたしに与え、あなたの右の手はわたしをささえ、あなたの助けはわたしを大いなる者とされました。
18:35 You have also given me the shield of your salvation: and your right hand has held me up, and your gentleness has made me great.
18:36 あなたがわたしの歩む所を広くされたので、わたしの足はすべらなかったのです。
18:36 You have enlarged my steps under me, that my feet did not slip.
18:37 わたしは敵を追って、これに追いつき、これを滅ぼしつくすまでは帰らなかったのです。
18:37 I have pursued mine enemies, and overtaken them: neither did I return till they were consumed.

18:38 I have wounded them that they were not able to rise: they are fallen under my feet.

18:42 Then did I beat them small as the dust before the wind: I did cast them out as the dirt in the streets.
18:43 あなたは民の争いからわたしを救い、わたしをもろもろの国民のかしらとされました。わたしの知らなかった民がわたしに仕えました。
18:43 You have delivered me from the strivings of the people; and you have made me the head of the heathen: a people whom I have not known shall serve me.
18:44 彼らはわたしの事を聞くと、ただちにわたしに従い、異邦の人々はきて、わたしにへつらいました。
18:44 As soon as they hear of me, they shall obey me: the strangers shall submit themselves unto me.
18:45 異邦の人々は打ちしおれて、その城から震えながら出てきました。
18:45 The strangers shall fade away, and be afraid out of their close places.
18:46 主は生きておられます。わが岩はほむべきかな。わが救の神はあがむべきかな。
18:46 The LORD lives; and blessed be my rock; and let the God of my salvation be exalted.
18:47 神はわたしにあだを報いさせ、もろもろの民をわたしのもとに従わせ、
18:47 It is God that avenges me, and subdues the people under me.
18:48 わたしの敵からわたしを救い出されました。まことに、あなたはわたしに逆らって／起りたつ者の上にわたしをあげ、不法の人からわたしを救い出されました。
18:48 He delivers me from mine enemies: yea, you lift me up above those that rise up against me: you have delivered me from the violent man.

18:49 Therefore will I give thanks unto you, O LORD, among the heathen, and sing praises unto your name.

18:50 Great deliverance gives he to his king; and shows mercy to his anointed, to David, and to his seed for evermore.

19:2 Day unto day utters speech, and night unto night shows knowledge.
19:3 話すことなく、語ることなく、その声も聞えないのに、
19:3 There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
19:4 その響きは全地にあまねく、その言葉は世界のはてにまで及ぶ。神は日のために幕屋を天に設けられた。
19:4 Their line is gone out through all the earth, and their words to the end of the world. In them has he set a tabernacle for the sun,
19:5 日は花婿がその祝のへやから出てくるように、また勇士が競い走るように、その道を喜び走る。
19:5 Which is as a bridegroom coming out of his chamber, and rejoices as a strong man to run a race.
19:6 それは天のはてからのぼって、天のはてにまで、めぐって行く。その暖まりをこうむらないものはない。
19:6 His going forth is from the end of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
19:7 主のおきては完全であって、魂を生きかえらせ、主のあかしは確かであって、無学な者を賢くする。
19:7 The law of the LORD is perfect, converting the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, making wise the simple.
19:8 主のさとしは正しくて、心を喜ばせ、主の戒めはまじりなくて、眼を明らかにする。
19:8 The statutes of the LORD are right, rejoicing the heart: the commandment of the LORD is pure, enlightening the eyes.
19:9 主を恐れる道は清らかで、とこしえに絶えることがなく、主のさばきは真実であって、ことごとく正しい。
19:9 The fear of the LORD is clean, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORD are true and righteous altogether.
19:10 これらは金よりも、多くの純金よりも慕わしく、また蜜よりも、蜂の巣のしたたりよりも甘い。
19:10 More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
19:11 あなたのしもべは、これらによって戒めをうける。これらを守れば、大いなる報いがある。
19:11 Moreover by them is your servant warned: and in keeping of them there is great reward.
19:12 だれが自分のあやまちを知ることができましようか。どうか、わたしを隠れたとがから解き放ってください。
19:12 Who can understand his errors? cleanse you me from secret faults.
19:13 また、あなたのしもべを引きとめて、故意の罪を犯させず、これに支配されることのないようにしてください。そうすれば、わたしはあやまちのない者となって、大いなるとがを免れることができるでしょう。
19:13 Keep back your servant also from arrogant sins; let them not have dominion over me: then shall I be upright, and I shall be innocent from the great transgression.
19:14 わが岩、わがあがないぬしなる主よ、どうか、わたしの口の言葉と、心の思いが／あなたの前に喜ばれますように。
19:14 Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in your sight, O LORD, my strength, and my redeemer.

20:4 Grant you according to yours own heart, and fulfill all your counsel.

20:5 We will rejoice in your salvation, and in the name of our God we will set up our banners: the LORD fulfill all your petitions.
20:6 今わたしは知る、主はその油そそがれた者を助けられることを。主はその右の手による大いなる勝利をもって／その聖なる天から彼に答えられるであろう。
20:6 Now know I that the LORD saves his anointed; he will hear him from his holy heaven with the saving strength of his right hand.
20:7 ある者は戦車を誇り、ある者は馬を誇る。しかしわれらは、われらの神、主のみ名を誇る。
20:7 Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will remember the name of the LORD our God.

20:8 They are brought down and fallen: but we are risen, and stand upright.

21:2 You have given him his heart's desire, and have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah.

21:3 For you prevent him with the blessings of goodness: you set a crown of pure gold on his head.

21:9 You shall make them as a fiery oven in the time of yours anger: the LORD shall swallow them up in his wrath, and the fire shall devour them.

21:10 Their fruit shall you destroy from the earth, and their seed from among the children of men.

22:2 わが神よ、わたしが昼よばわっても、あなたは答えられず、夜よばわっても平安を得ません。
22:2 O my God, I cry in the day time, but you hear not; and in the night season, and am not silent.
22:3 しかしイスラエルのさんびの上に座しておられる／あなたは聖なるおかたです。
22:3 But you are holy, O you that inhabit the praises of Israel.

22:4 Our fathers trusted in you: they trusted, and you did deliver them.

22:7 All they that see me laugh me to scorn: they shoot out the lip, they shake the head, saying,

22:8 He trusted on the LORD that he would deliver him: let him deliver him, seeing he delighted in him.

22:9 But you are he that took me out of the womb: you did make me hope when I was upon my mother's breasts.

22:14 I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

22:15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaves to my jaws; and you have brought me into the dust of death.

22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have enclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

22:17 I may tell all my bones: they look and stare upon me.

22:22 I will declare your name unto my brethren: in the midst of the congregation will I praise you.
22:23 主を恐れる者よ、主をほめたたえよ。ヤコブのもろもろのすえよ、主をあがめよ。イスラエルのもろもろのすえよ、主をおじおそれよ。
22:23 All of you that fear the LORD, praise him; all you the seed of Jacob, glorify him; and fear him, all you the seed of Israel.
22:24 主が苦しむ者の苦しみをかろんじ、いとわれず、またこれにみ顔を隠すことなく、その叫ぶときに聞かれたからである。
22:24 For he has not despised nor abhorred the affliction of the afflicted; neither has he hid his face from him; but when he cried unto him, he heard.
22:25 大いなる会衆の中で、わたしのさんびはあなたから出るのです。わたしは主を恐れる者の前で、わたしの誓いを果します。
22:25 My praise shall be of you in the great congregation: I will pay my vows before them that fear him.
22:26 貧しい者は食べて飽くことができ、主を尋ね求める者は主をほめたたえるでしょう。どうか、あなたがたの心がとこしえに生きるように。
22:26 The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek him: your heart shall live for ever.
22:27 地のはての者はみな思い出して、主に帰り、もろもろの国のやからはみな、み前に伏し拝むでしょう。
22:27 All the ends of the world shall remember and turn unto the LORD: and all the families of the nations shall worship before you.
22:28 国は主のものであって、主はもろもろの国民を統べ治められます。
22:28 For the kingdom is the LORD's: and he is the governor among the nations.
22:29 地の誇り高ぶる者はみな主を拝み、ちりに下る者も、おのれを生きながらえさせえない者も、みなそのみ前にひざまずくでしょう。
22:29 All they that be fat upon earth shall eat and worship: all they that go down to the dust shall bow before him: and none can keep alive his own soul.
22:30 子々孫々、主に仕え、人々は主のことをきたるべき代まで語り伝え、
22:30 A seed shall serve him; it shall be accounted to the Lord for a generation.
22:31 主がなされたその救を／後に生れる民にのべ伝えるでしょう。
22:31 They shall come, and shall declare his righteousness unto a people that shall be born, that he has done this.
23:1 主はわたしの牧者であって、わたしには乏しいことがない。
23:1 The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not lack.
23:2 主はわたしを緑の牧場に伏させ、いこいのみぎわに伴われる。
23:2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures: he leads me beside the still waters.
23:3 主はわたしの魂をいきかえらせ、み名のためにわたしを正しい道に導かれる。
23:3 He restores my soul: he leads me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
23:4 たといわたしは死の陰の谷を歩むとも、わざわいを恐れません。あなたがわたしと共におられるからです。あなたのむちと、あなたのつえはわたしを慰めます。
23:4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me.
23:5 あなたはわたしの敵の前で、わたしの前に宴を設け、わたしのこうべに油をそそがれる。わたしの杯はあふれます。
23:5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: you anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.
23:6 わたしの生きているかぎりは／必ず恵みといつくしみとが伴うでしょう。わたしはとこしえに主の宮に住むでしょう。
23:6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
24:1 地と、それに満ちるもの、世界と、そのなかに住む者とは主のものである。
24:1 The earth is the LORD's, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
24:2 主はその基を大海のうえにすえ、大川のうえに定められた。
24:2 For he has founded it upon the seas, and established it upon the floods.
24:3 主の山に登るべき者はだれか。その聖所に立つべき者はだれか。
24:3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in his holy place?
24:4 手が清く、心のいさぎよい者、その魂がむなしい事に望みをかけない者、偽って誓わない者こそ、その人である。
24:4 He that has clean hands, and a pure heart; who has not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully.
24:5 このような人は主から祝福をうけ、その救の神から義をうける。
24:5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the God of his salvation.
24:6 これこそ主を慕う者のやから、ヤコブの神の、み顔を求める者のやからである。〔セラ
24:6 This is the generation of them that seek him, that seek your face, O Jacob. Selah.
24:7 門よ、こうべをあげよ。とこしえの戸よ、あがれ。栄光の王がはいられる。
24:7 Lift up your heads, O all of you gates; and be all of you lift up, all of you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.
24:8 栄光の王とはだれか。強く勇ましい主、戦いに勇ましい主である。
24:8 Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle.
24:9 門よ、こうべをあげよ。とこしえの戸よ、あがれ。栄光の王がはいられる。
24:9 Lift up your heads, O all of you gates; even lift them up, all of you everlasting doors; and the King of glory shall come in.

24:10 Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, he is the King of glory. Selah.
25:1 主よ、わが魂はあなたを仰ぎ望みます。
25:1 Unto you, O LORD, do I lift up my soul.
25:2 わが神よ、わたしはあなたに信頼します。どうか、わたしをはずかしめず、わたしの敵を勝ち誇らせないでください。
25:2 O my God, I trust in you: let me not be ashamed, let not mine enemies triumph over me.
25:3 すべてあなたを待ち望む者をはずかしめず、みだりに信義にそむく者をはずかしめてください。
25:3 Yea, let none that wait on you be ashamed: let them be ashamed which transgress without cause.
25:4 主よ、あなたの大路をわたしに知らせ、あなたの道をわたしに教えてください。
25:4 Show me your ways, O LORD; teach me your paths.

25:5 Lead me in your truth, and teach me: for you are the God of my salvation; on you do I wait all the day.
25:6 主よ、あなたのあわれみと、いつくしみとを／思い出してください。これはいにしえから絶えることがなかったのです。
25:6 Remember, O LORD, your tender mercies and your loving kindnesses; for they have been ever of old.
25:7 わたしの若き時の罪と、とがとを／思い出さないでください。主よ、あなたの恵みのゆえに、あなたのいつくしみにしたがって、わたしを思い出してください。
25:7 Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions: according to your mercy remember you me for your goodness' sake, O LORD.
25:8 主は恵みふかく、かつ正しくいらせられる。それゆえ、主は道を罪びとに教え、
25:8 Good and upright is the LORD: therefore will he teach sinners in the way.
25:9 へりくだる者を公義に導き、へりくだる者にその道を教えられる。
25:9 The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.
25:10 主のすべての道はその契約とあかしとを守る者には／いつくしみであり、まことである。
25:10 All the paths of the LORD are mercy and truth unto such as keep his covenant and his testimonies.
25:11 主よ、み名のために、わたしの罪をおゆるしください。わたしの罪は大きいのです。
25:11 For your name's sake, O LORD, pardon mine iniquity; for it is great.
25:12 主を恐れる人はだれか。主はその選ぶべき道をその人に教えられる。
25:12 What man is he that fears the LORD? him shall he teach in the way that he shall choose.
25:13 彼はみずからさいわいに住まい、そのすえは地を継ぐであろう。
25:13 His soul shall dwell at ease; and his seed shall inherit the earth.
25:14 主の親しみは主をおそれる者のためにあり、主はその契約を彼らに知らせられる。
25:14 The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will show them his covenant.
25:15 わたしの目は常に主に向かっている。主はわたしの足を網から取り出されるからである。
25:15 Mine eyes are ever toward the LORD; for he shall pluck my feet out of the net.
25:16 わたしをかえりみ、わたしをあわれんでください。わたしはひとりわびしく苦しんでいるのです。
25:16 Turn you unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted.
25:17 わたしの心の悩みをゆるめ、わたしを苦しみから引き出してください。
25:17 The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring you me out of my distresses.
25:18 わたしの苦しみ悩みをかえりみ、わたしのすべての罪をおゆるしください。
25:18 Look upon mine affliction and my pain; and forgive all my sins.
25:19 わたしの敵がいかに多く、かつ激しい憎しみをもって／わたしを憎んでいるかをごらんください。
25:19 Consider mine enemies; for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.
25:20 わたしの魂を守り、わたしをお助けください。わたしをはずかしめないでください。わたしはあなたに寄り頼んでいます。
25:20 O keep my soul, and deliver me: let me not be ashamed; for I put my trust in you.
25:21 どうか、誠実と潔白とが、わたしを守ってくれるように。わたしはあなたを待ち望んでいます。
25:21 Let integrity and uprightness preserve me; for I wait on you.

25:22 Redeem Israel, O God, out of all his troubles.
26:1 主よ、わたしをさばいてください。わたしは誠実に歩み、迷うことなく主に信頼しています。
26:1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.
26:2 主よ、わたしをためし、わたしを試み、わたしの心と思いとを練りきよめてください。
26:2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.
26:3 あなたのいつくしみはわたしの目の前にあり、わたしはあなたのまことによって歩みました。
26:3 For your loving kindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in your truth.
26:4 わたしは偽る人々と共にすわらず、偽善者と交わらず、
26:4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.
26:5 悪を行う者のつどいを憎み、悪しき者と共にすわることをしません。
26:5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

26:6 I will wash mine hands in innocence: so will I compass yours altar, O LORD:

26:7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all your wondrous works.
26:8 主よ、わたしはあなたの住まわれる家と、あなたの栄光のとどまる所とを愛します。
26:8 LORD, I have loved the habitation of your house, and the place where yours honour dwells.
26:9 どうか、わたしを罪びとと共に、わたしのいのちを、血を流す人々と共に、取り去らないでください。
26:9 Gather not my soul with sinners, nor my life with bloody men:
26:10 彼らの手には悪い企てがあり、彼らの右の手は、まいないで満ちています。
26:10 In whose hands is mischief, and their right hand is full of bribes.

26:11 But as for me, I will walk in mine integrity: redeem me, and be merciful unto me.

27:1 主はわたしの光、わたしの救だ、わたしはだれを恐れよう。主はわたしの命のとりでだ。わたしはだれをおじ恐れよう。
27:1 The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
27:2 わたしのあだ、わたしの敵である悪を行う者どもが、襲ってきて、わたしをそしり、わたしを攻めるとき、彼らはつまずき倒れるであろう。
27:2 When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.
27:3 たとい軍勢が陣営を張って、わたしを攻めても、わたしの心は恐れない。たといいくさが起って、わたしを攻めても、なおわたしはみずから頼むところがある。
27:3 Though an host should camp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.
27:4 わたしは一つの事を主に願った、わたしはそれを求める。わたしの生きるかぎり、主の家に住んで、主のうるわしきを見、その宮で尋ねきわめることを。
27:4 One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.
27:5 それは主が悩みの日に、その仮屋のうちにわたしを潜ませ、その幕屋の奥にわたしを隠し、岩の上にわたしを高く置かれるからである。
27:5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
27:6 今わたしのこうべはわたしをめぐる敵の上に高くあげられる。それゆえ、わたしは主の幕屋で／喜びの声をあげて、いけにえをささげ、歌って、主をほめたたえるであろう。
27:6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.
27:7 主よ、わたしが声をあげて呼ばわるとき、聞いて、わたしをあわれみ、わたしに答えてください。
27:7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.
27:8 あなたは仰せられました、「わが顔をたずね求めよ」と。あなたにむかって、わたしの心は言います、「主よ、わたしはみ顔をたずね求めます」と。
27:8 When you said, Seek all of you my face; my heart said unto you, Your face, LORD, will I seek.
27:9 み顔をわたしに隠さないでください。怒ってあなたのしもべを退けないでください。あなたはわたしの助けです。わが救の神よ、わたしを追い出し、わたしを捨てないでください。
27:9 Hide not your face far from me; put not your servant away in anger: you have been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.
27:10 たとい父母がわたしを捨てても、主がわたしを迎えられるでしょう。
27:10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.
27:11 主よ、あなたの道をわたしに教え、わたしのあだのゆえに、わたしを平らかな道に導いてください。
27:11 Teach me your way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.
27:12 わたしのあだの望むがままに、わたしを引き渡さないでください。偽りのあかしをする者がわたしに逆らって起り、暴言を吐くからです。
27:12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.
27:13 わたしは信じます、生ける者の地でわたしは主の恵みを見ることを。
27:13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.
27:14 主を待ち望め、強く、かつ雄々しくあれ。主を待ち望め。
27:14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen yours heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
28:1 主よ、わたしはあなたにむかって呼ばわります。わが岩よ、わたしにむかって／耳しいとならないでください。もしあなたが黙っておられるならば、おそらく、わたしは墓に下る者と等しくなるでしょう。
28:1 Unto you will I cry, O LORD my rock; be not silent to me: lest, if you be silent to me, I become like them that go down into the pit.
28:2 わたしがあなたにむかって助けを求め、あなたの至聖所にむかって手をあげるとき、わたしの願いの声を聞いてください。
28:2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry unto you, when I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle.
28:3 悪しき者および悪を行う者らと共に／わたしを引き行かないでください。彼らはその隣り人とむつまじく語るけれども、その心には害悪をいだく者です。
28:3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.
28:4 どうぞ、そのわざにしたがい、その悪しき行いにしたがって彼らに報い、その手のわざにしたがって彼らに報い、その受くべき罰を彼らに与えてください。
28:4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.
28:5 彼らは主のもろもろのみわざと、み手のわざとを顧みないゆえに、主は彼らを倒して、再び建てられることはない。
28:5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.
28:6 主はほむべきかな。主はわたしの願いの声を聞かれた。
28:6 Blessed be the LORD, because he has heard the voice of my supplications.
28:7 主はわが力、わが盾。わたしの心は主に寄り頼む。わたしは助けを得たので、わたしの心は大いに喜び、歌をもって主をほめたたえる。
28:7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoices; and with my song will I praise him.
28:8 主はその民の力、その油そそがれた者の救のとりでである。
28:8 The LORD is their strength, and he is the saving strength of his anointed.
28:9 どうぞ、あなたの民を救い、あなたの嗣業を恵み、彼らの牧者となって、とこしえに彼らをいだき導いてください。
28:9 Save your people, and bless yours inheritance: feed them also, and lift them up for ever.

29:5 The voice of the LORD breaks the cedars; yea, the LORD breaks the cedars of Lebanon.
29:6 主はレバノンを子牛のように踊らせ、シリオンを若い野牛のように踊らされる。
29:6 He makes them also to skip like a calf; Lebanon and Sirion like a young unicorn (p. ox).
29:7 主のみ声は炎をひらめかす。
29:7 The voice of the LORD divides the flames of fire.

29:8 The voice of the LORD shakes the wilderness; the LORD shakes the wilderness of Kadesh.

29:9 The voice of the LORD makes the hinds to calve, and discovers the forests: and in his temple does every one speak of his glory.

31:2 あなたの耳をわたしに傾けて、すみやかにわたしをお救いください。わたしのためにのがれの岩となり、わたしを救う堅固な城となってください。
31:2 Bow down yours ear to me; deliver me speedily: be you my strong rock, for an house of defence to save me.
31:3 まことに、あなたはわたしの岩、わたしの城です。み名のためにわたしを引き、わたしを導き、
31:3 For you are my rock and my fortress; therefore for your name's sake lead me, and guide me.

31:11 I was a reproach among all mine enemies, but especially among my neighbours, and a fear to mine acquaintance: they that did see me without fled from me.

31:12 I am forgotten as a dead man out of mind: I am like a broken vessel.

31:17 Let me not be ashamed, O LORD; for I have called upon you: let the wicked be ashamed, and let them be silent in the grave.
31:18 高ぶりと侮りとをもって正しい者をみだりにそしる／偽りのくちびるをつぐませてください。
31:18 Let the lying lips be put to silence; which speak grievous things proudly and contemptuously against the righteous.
31:19 あなたを恐れる者のためにたくわえ、あなたに寄り頼む者のために／人の子らの前に施されたあなたの恵みは／いかに大いなるものでしょう。
31:19 Oh how great is your goodness, which you have laid up for them that fear you; which you have wrought for them that trust in you before the sons of men!
31:20 あなたは彼らをみ前のひそかな所に隠して／人々のはかりごとを免れさせ、また仮屋のうちに潜ませて／舌の争いを避けさせられます。
31:20 You shall hide them in the secret of your presence from the pride of man: you shall keep them secretly in a pavilion from the strife of tongues.

31:21 Blessed be the LORD: for he has showed me his marvellous kindness in a strong city.

31:22 For I said in my haste, I am cut off from before yours eyes: nevertheless you heard the voice of my supplications when I cried unto you.

31:23 O love the LORD, all you his saints: for the LORD perserves the faithful, and plentifully rewards the proud doer.

31:24 Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen your heart, all you that hope in the LORD.
32:1 そのとががゆるされ、その罪がおおい消される者はさいわいである。
32:1 Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered.
32:2 主によって不義を負わされず、その霊に偽りのない人はさいわいである。
32:2 Blessed is the man unto whom the LORD imputes not iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no guile.
32:3 わたしが自分の罪を言いあらわさなかった時は、ひねもす苦しみうめいたので、わたしの骨はふるび衰えた。
32:3 When I kept silence, my bones waxed old through my roaring all the day long.
32:4 あなたのみ手が昼も夜も、わたしの上に重かったからである。わたしの力は、夏のひでりによって／かれるように、かれ果てた。〔セラ
32:4 For day and night your hand was heavy upon me: my moisture is turned into the drought of summer. Selah.

32:5 I acknowledge my sin unto you, and mine iniquity have I not hid. I said, I will confess my transgressions unto the LORD; and you forgave the iniquity of my sin. Selah.
32:6 このゆえに、すべて神を敬う者はあなたに祈る。大水の押し寄せる悩みの時にも／その身に及ぶことはない。
32:6 For this shall every one that is godly pray unto you in a time when you may be found: surely in the floods of great waters they shall not come nigh unto him.
32:7 あなたはわたしの隠れ場であって、わたしを守って悩みを免れさせ、救をもってわたしを囲まれる。〔セラ
32:7 You are my hiding place; you shall preserve me from trouble; you shall compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
32:8 わたしはあなたを教え、あなたの行くべき道を示し、わたしの目をあなたにとめて、さとすであろう。
32:8 I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go: I will guide you with mine eye.
32:9 あなたはさとりのない馬のようであってはならない。また騾馬のようであってはならない。彼らはくつわ、たづなをもっておさえられなければ、あなたに従わないであろう。
32:9 Be all of you not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose mouth must be held in with bit and bridle, lest they come near unto you.

32:10 Many sorrows shall be to the wicked: but he that trusts in the LORD, mercy shall compass him about.

33:1 Rejoice in the LORD, O all of you righteous: for praise is comely for the upright.
33:2 琴をもって主をさんびせよ、十弦の立琴をもって主をほめたたえよ。
33:2 Praise the LORD with harp: sing unto him with the psaltery and an instrument of ten strings.
33:3 新しい歌を主にむかって歌い、喜びの声をあげて巧みに琴をかきならせ。
33:3 Sing unto him a new song; play skillfully with a loud noise.
33:4 主のみことばは直く、そのすべてのみわざは真実だからである。
33:4 For the word of the LORD is right; and all his works are done in truth.
33:5 主は正義と公平とを愛される。地は主のいつくしみで満ちている。
33:5 He loves righteousness and judgment: the earth is full of the goodness of the LORD.
33:6 もろもろの天は主のみことばによって造られ、天の万軍は主の口の息によって造られた。
33:6 By the word of the LORD were the heavens made; and all the host of them by the breath of his mouth.
33:7 主は海の水を水がめの中に集めるように集め、深い淵を倉におさめられた。
33:7 He gathers the waters of the sea together as an heap: he lays up the depth in storehouses.
33:8 全地は主を恐れ、世に住むすべての者は主を恐れかしこめ。
33:8 Let all the earth fear the LORD: let all the inhabitants of the world stand in awe of him.

33:9 For he spoke, and it was done; he commanded, and it stood fast.
33:10 主はもろもろの国のはかりごとをむなしくし、もろもろの民の企てをくじかれる。
33:10 The LORD brings the counsel of the heathen to nothing: he makes the devices of the people of no effect.
33:11 主のはかりごとはとこしえに立ち、そのみこころの思いは世々に立つ。
33:11 The counsel of the LORD stands for ever, the thoughts of his heart to all generations.
33:12 主をおのが神とする国はさいわいである。主がその嗣業として選ばれた民はさいわいである。
33:12 Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he has chosen for his own inheritance.
33:13 主は天から見おろされ、すべての人の子らを見、
33:13 The LORD looks from heaven; he beholds all the sons of men.
33:14 そのおられる所から／地に住むすべての人をながめられる。
33:14 From the place of his habitation he looks upon all the inhabitants of the earth.
33:15 主はすべて彼らの心を造り、そのすべてのわざに心をとめられる。
33:15 He fashions their hearts alike; he considers all their works.
33:16 王はその軍勢の多きによって救を得ない。勇士はその力の大いなるによって助けを得ない。
33:16 There is no king saved by the multitude of an host: a mighty man is not delivered by much strength.
33:17 馬は勝利に頼みとならない。その大いなる力も人を助けることはできない。
33:17 An horse is a vain thing for safety: neither shall he deliver any by his great strength.
33:18 見よ、主の目は主を恐れる者の上にあり、そのいつくしみを望む者の上にある。
33:18 Behold, the eye of the LORD is upon them that fear him, upon them that hope in his mercy;
33:19 これは主が彼らの魂を死から救い、ききんの時にも生きながらえさせるためである。
33:19 To deliver their soul from death, and to keep them alive in famine.

33:20 Our soul waits for the LORD: he is our help and our shield.

34:2 My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.
34:3 われとともにヱホバを崇めよ われらともにその名をあげたたへん
34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.

34:4 I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.

34:7 The angel of the LORD camps round about them that fear him, and delivers them.
34:8 なんぢらヱホバの恩惠ふかきを嘗ひしれ ヱホバによりたのむ者はさいはひなり
34:8 O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusts in him.
34:9 ヱホバの聖徒よヱホバを畏れよヱホバをおそるるものには乏しきことなければなり
34:9 O fear the LORD, all of you his saints: for there is no lack to them that fear him.
34:10 わかき獅はともしくして饑ることあり されどヱホバをたづぬるものは嘉物にかくることあらじ
34:10 The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing.
34:11 子よきたりて我にきけ われヱホバを畏るべきことを汝等にをしへん
34:11 Come, all of you children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
34:12 福祉をみんがために生命をしたひ存へんことをこのむ者はたれぞや
34:12 What man is he that desires life, and loves many days, that he may see good?
34:13 なんぢの舌をおさへて惡につかしめず なんぢの口唇をおさへて虚偽をいはざらしめよ
34:13 Keep your tongue from evil, and your lips from speaking guile.
34:14 惡をはなれて善をおこなひ和睦をもとめて切にこのことを勉めよ
34:14 Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.

34:15 The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.
34:16 ヱホバの聖顔はあくをなす者にむかひてその跡を地より斷滅したまふ
34:16 The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.
34:17 義者さけびたればヱホバ之をききてそのすべての患難よりたすけいだしたまへり
34:17 The righteous cry, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles.
34:18 ヱホバは心のいたみかなしめる者にちかく在してたましひの悔頽れたるものをすくひたまふ
34:18 The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
34:19 ただしきものは患難おほし されどヱホバはみなその中よりたすけいだしたまふ
34:19 Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivers him out of them all.
34:20 ヱホバはかれがすべての骨をまもりたまふ その一つだに折らるることなし
34:20 He keeps all his bones: not one of them is broken.

34:22 The LORD redeems the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.
35:1 主よ、わたしと争う者とあらそい、わたしと戦う者と戦ってください。
35:1 Plead my cause, O LORD, with them that strive with me: fight against them that fight against me.
35:2 盾と大盾とを執って、わたしを助けるために立ちあがってください。
35:2 Take hold of shield and buckler, and stand up for mine help.
35:3 やりと投げやりとを抜いて、わたしに追い迫る者に立ちむかい、「わたしはおまえの救である」と、わたしに言ってください。
35:3 Draw out also the spear, and stop the way against them that persecute me: say unto my soul, I am your salvation.
35:4 どうか、わたしの命を求める者を／はずかしめ、いやしめ、わたしにむかって悪をたくらむ者を退け、あわてふためかせてください。
35:4 Let them be confounded and put to shame that seek after my soul: let them be turned back and brought to confusion that devise my hurt.
35:5 彼らを風の前のもみがらのようにし、主の使に彼らを追いやらせてください。
35:5 Let them be as chaff before the wind: and let the angel of the LORD chase them.
35:6 彼らの道を暗く、なめらかにし、主の使に彼らを追い行かせてください。
35:6 Let their way be dark and slippery: and let the angel of the LORD persecute them.
35:7 彼らはゆえなくわたしのために網を隠し、ゆえなくわたしのために穴を掘ったからです。
35:7 For without cause have they hid for me their net in a pit, which without cause they have dug for my soul.
35:8 不意に滅びを彼らに臨ませ、みずから隠した網にとらえられ、彼らを滅びに陥らせてください。
35:8 Let destruction come upon him at unexpectedly; and let his net that he has hid catch himself: into that very destruction let him fall.
35:9 そのときわが魂は主によって喜び、その救をもって楽しむでしょう。
35:9 And my soul shall be joyful in the LORD: it shall rejoice in his salvation.
35:10 わたしの骨はことごとく言うでしょう、「主よ、だれかあなたにたぐうべき者がありましょう。あなたは弱い者を強い者から助け出し、弱い者と貧しい者を、かすめ奪う者から助け出される方です」と。
35:10 All my bones shall say, LORD, who is like unto you, which deliver the poor from him that is too strong for him, yea, the poor and the needy from him that spoils him?
35:11 悪意のある証人が起って、わたしの知らない事をわたしに尋ねる。
35:11 False witnesses did rise up; they laid to my charge things that I knew not.
35:12 彼らは悪をもってわたしの善に報い、わが魂を寄るべなき者とした。
35:12 They rewarded me evil for good to the spoiling of my soul.
35:13 しかし、わたしは彼らが病んだとき、荒布をまとい、断食してわが身を苦しめた。わたしは胸にこうべをたれて祈った、
35:13 But as for me, when they were sick, my clothing was sackcloth: I humbled my soul with fasting; and my prayer returned into mine own bosom.
35:14 ちょうど、わが友、わが兄弟のために／悲しんだかのように。わたしは母をいたむ者のように／悲しみうなだれて歩きまわった。
35:14 I behaved myself as though he had been my friend or brother: I bowed down heavily, as one that mourns for his mother.
35:15 しかし彼らはわたしのつまずくとき、喜びつどい、ともに集まってわたしを責めた。わたしの知らない他国の者は／わたしをののしってやめなかった。
35:15 But in mine adversity they rejoiced, and gathered themselves together: yea, the outcasts gathered themselves together against me, and I knew it not; they did tear me, and ceased not:
35:16 彼らはますます、けがす言葉をもってあざけり、わたしにむかって歯をかみならした。
35:16 With hypocritical mockers in feasts, they gnashed upon me with their teeth.
35:17 主よ、いつまであなたはながめておられますか、わたしを彼らの破壊から、わたしのいのちを若きししから救い出してください。
35:17 Lord, how long will you look on? rescue my soul from their destructions, my darling from the lions.
35:18 わたしは大いなるつどいの中で、あなたに感謝し、多くの民の中で、あなたをほめたたえるでしょう。
35:18 I will give you thanks in the great congregation: I will praise you among much people.
35:19 偽ってわたしの敵となった者どもの／わたしについて喜ぶことを許さないでください。ゆえなく、わたしを憎む者どもの／たがいに目くばせすることを許さないでください。
35:19 Let not them that are mine enemies wrongfully rejoice over me: neither let them wink with the eye that hate me without a cause.
35:20 彼らは平和を語らず、国のうちに穏やかに住む者にむかって／欺きの言葉をたくらむからです。
35:20 For they speak not peace: but they devise deceitful matters against them that are quiet in the land.
35:21 彼らはわたしにむかって口をあけひろげ、「あはぁ、あはぁ、われらの目はそれを見た」と／言います。
35:21 Yea, they opened their mouth wide against me, and said, Aha, aha, our eye has seen it.
35:22 主よ、あなたはこれを見られました。もださないでください。主よ、わたしに遠ざからないでください。
35:22 This you have seen, O LORD: keep not silence: O Lord, be not far from me.
35:23 わが神、わが主よ、わがさばきのため、わが訴えのために奮いたち、目をさましてください。
35:23 Stir up yourself, and awake to my judgment, even unto my cause, my God and my Lord.
35:24 わが神、主よ、あなたの義にしたがってわたしをさばき、わたしの事について彼らを喜ばせないでください。
35:24 Judge me, O LORD my God, according to your righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
35:25 彼らにその心のうちで、「あはぁ、われらの願ったことが達せられた」と／言わせないでください。また彼らに「われらは彼を滅ぼしつくした」と／言わせないでください。
35:25 Let them not say in their hearts, Ah, so would we have it: let them not say, We have swallowed him up.
35:26 わたしの災を喜ぶ者どもを／ともに恥じ、あわてふためかせてください。わたしにむかって誇りたかぶる者どもに／恥と、はずかしめとを着せてください。
35:26 Let them be ashamed and brought to confusion together that rejoice at mine hurt: let them be clothed with shame and dishonour that magnify themselves against me.
35:27 わたしの義を喜ぶ者をば／喜びの声をあげて喜ばせ、「そのしもべの幸福を喜ばれる主は大いなるかな」と／つねに言わせてください。
35:27 Let them shout for joy, and be glad, that favour my righteous cause: yea, let them say continually, Let the LORD be magnified, which has pleasure in the prosperity of his servant.
35:28 わたしの舌はひねもすあなたの義と、あなたの誉とを語るでしょう。
35:28 And my tongue shall speak of your righteousness and of your praise all the day long.

36:1 とがは悪しき者にむかい、その心のうちに言う。その目の前に神を恐れる恐れはない。
36:1 The transgression of the wicked says within my heart, that there is no fear of God before his eyes.
36:2 彼は自分の不義があらわされないため、また憎まれないために、みずからその目でおもねる。
36:2 For he flatters himself in his own eyes, until his iniquity be found to be hateful.
36:3 その口の言葉はよこしまと欺きである。彼は知恵を得ることと、善を行う事とをやめた。
36:3 The words of his mouth are iniquity and deceit: he has left off to be wise, and to do good.
36:4 彼はその床の上でよこしまな事をたくらみ、よからぬ道に身をおいて、悪をきらわない。
36:4 He devises mischief upon his bed; he sets himself in a way that is not good; he detests not evil.
36:5 主よ、あなたのいつくしみは天にまで及び、あなたのまことは雲にまで及ぶ。
36:5 Your mercy, O LORD, is in the heavens; and your faithfulness reachs unto the clouds.
36:6 あなたの義は神の山のごとく、あなたのさばきは大きな淵のようだ。主よ、あなたは人と獣とを救われる。
36:6 Your righteousness is like the great mountains; your judgments are a great deep: O LORD, you preserve man and beast.
36:7 神よ、あなたのいつくしみはいかに尊いことでしょう。人の子らはあなたの翼のかげに避け所を得、
36:7 How excellent is your loving kindness, O God! therefore the children of men put their trust under the shadow of your wings.
36:8 あなたの家の豊かなのによって飽き足りる。あなたはその楽しみの川の水を彼らに飲ませられる。
36:8 They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of your house; and you shall make them drink of the river of your pleasures.
36:9 いのちの泉はあなたのもとにあり、われらはあなたの光によって光を見る。
36:9 For with you is the fountain of life: in your light shall we see light.
36:10 どうか、あなたを知る者に絶えずいつくしみを施し、心の直き者に絶えず救を施してください。
36:10 O continue your loving kindness unto them that know you; and your righteousness to the upright in heart.
36:11 高ぶる者の足がわたしを踏み、悪しき者の手がわたしを追い出すことを／ゆるさないでください。
36:11 Let not the foot of pride come against me, and let not the hand of the wicked remove me.
36:12 悪を行う者はそこに倒れ、彼らは打ち伏せられて、起きあがることはできない。
36:12 There are the workers of iniquity fallen: they are cast down, and shall not be able to rise.
37:1 悪をなす者のゆえに、心を悩ますな。不義を行う者のゆえに、ねたみを起すな。
37:1 Fret not yourself because of evildoers, neither be you envious against the workers of iniquity.
37:2 彼らはやがて草のように衰え、青菜のようにしおれるからである。
37:2 For they shall soon be cut down like the grass, and wither as the green herb.
37:3 主に信頼して善を行え。そうすればあなたはこの国に住んで、安きを得る。
37:3 Trust in the LORD, and do good; so shall you dwell in the land, and verily you shall be fed.
37:4 主によって喜びをなせ。主はあなたの心の願いをかなえられる。
37:4 Delight yourself also in the LORD: and he shall give you the desires of yours heart.
37:5 あなたの道を主にゆだねよ。主に信頼せよ、主はそれをなしとげ、
37:5 Commit your way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass.
37:6 あなたの義を光のように明らかにし、あなたの正しいことを真昼のように明らかにされる。
37:6 And he shall bring forth your righteousness as the light, and your judgment as the noonday.
37:7 主の前にもだし、耐え忍びて主を待ち望め。おのが道を歩んで栄える者のゆえに、悪いはかりごとを遂げる人のゆえに、心を悩ますな。
37:7 Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for him: fret not yourself because of him who prospers in his way, because of the man who brings wicked devices to pass.
37:8 怒りをやめ、憤りを捨てよ。心を悩ますな、これはただ悪を行うに至るのみだ。
37:8 Cease from anger, and forsake wrath: fret not yourself in any way to do evil.
37:9 悪を行う者は断ち滅ぼされ、主を待ち望む者は国を継ぐからである。
37:9 For evildoers shall be cut off: but those that wait upon the LORD, they shall inherit the earth.
37:10 悪しき者はただしばらくで、うせ去る。あなたは彼の所をつぶさに尋ねても彼はいない。
37:10 For yet a little while, and the wicked shall not be: yea, you shall diligently consider his place, and it shall not be.
37:11 しかし柔和な者は国を継ぎ、豊かな繁栄をたのしむことができる。
37:11 But the meek shall inherit the earth; and shall delight themselves in the abundance of peace.
37:12 悪しき者は正しい者にむかって／はかりごとをめぐらし、これにむかって歯がみする。
37:12 The wicked plots against the just, and gnashes upon him with his teeth.
37:13 しかし主は悪しき者を笑われる、彼の日の来るのを見られるからである。
37:13 The LORD shall laugh at him: for he sees that his day is coming.
37:14 悪しき者はつるぎを抜き、弓を張って、貧しい者と乏しい者とを倒し、直く歩む者を殺そうとする。
37:14 The wicked have drawn out the sword, and have bent their bow, to cast down the poor and needy, and to slay such as be of upright conversation.
37:15 しかしそのつるぎはおのが胸を刺し、その弓は折られる。
37:15 Their sword shall enter into their own heart, and their bows shall be broken.
37:16 正しい人の持ち物の少ないのは、多くの悪しきの者の豊かなのにまさる。
37:16 A little that a righteous man has is better than the riches of many wicked.
37:17 悪しき者の腕は折られるが、主は正しい者を助けささえられるからである。
37:17 For the arms of the wicked shall be broken: but the LORD upholds the righteous.
37:18 主は全き者のもろもろの日を知られる。彼らの嗣業はとこしえに続く。
37:18 The LORD knows the days of the upright: and their inheritance shall be for ever.
37:19 彼らは災の時にも恥をこうむらず、ききんの日にも飽き足りる。
37:19 They shall not be ashamed in the evil time: and in the days of famine they shall be satisfied.
37:20 しかし、悪しき者は滅び、主の敵は牧場の栄えの枯れるように消え、煙のように消えうせる。
37:20 But the wicked shall perish, and the enemies of the LORD shall be as the fat of lambs: they shall consume; into smoke shall they consume away.
37:21 悪しき者は物を借りて返すことをしない。しかし正しい人は寛大で、施し与える。
37:21 The wicked borrows, and pays not again: but the righteous shows mercy, and gives.
37:22 主に祝福された者は国を継ぎ、主にのろわれた者は断ち滅ぼされる。
37:22 For such as be blessed of him shall inherit the earth; and they that be cursed of him shall be cut off.
37:23 人の歩みは主によって定められる。主はその行く道を喜ばれる。
37:23 The steps of a good man are ordered by the LORD: and he delights in his way.
37:24 たといその人が倒れても、全く打ち伏せられることはない、主がその手を助けささえられるからである。
37:24 Though he fall, he shall not be utterly cast down: for the LORD upholds him with his hand.
37:25 わたしは、むかし年若かった時も、年老いた今も、正しい人が捨てられ、あるいはその子孫が／食物を請いあるくのを見たことがない。
37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
37:26 正しい人は常に寛大で、物を貸し与え、その子孫は祝福を得る。
37:26 He is ever merciful, and lends; and his seed is blessed.
37:27 悪をさけて、善を行え。そうすれば、あなたはとこしえに住むことができる。
37:27 Depart from evil, and do good; and dwell for evermore.
37:28 主は公義を愛し、その聖徒を見捨てられないからである。正しい者はとこしえに助け守られる。しかし、悪しき者の子孫は断ち滅ぼされる。
37:28 For the LORD loves judgment, and forsakes not his saints; they are preserved for ever: but the seed of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:29 正しい者は国を継ぎ、とこしえにその中に住むことができる。
37:29 The righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein for ever.
37:30 正しい者の口は知恵を語り、その舌は公義を述べる。
37:30 The mouth of the righteous speaks wisdom, and his tongue talks of judgment.
37:31 その心には神のおきてがあり、その歩みはすべることがない。
37:31 The law of his God is in his heart; none of his steps shall slide.
37:32 悪しき者は正しい人をうかがい、これを殺そうとはかる。
37:32 The wicked watches the righteous, and seeks to slay him.
37:33 主は正しい人を悪しき者の手にゆだねられない、またさばかれる時、これを罪に定められることはない。
37:33 The LORD will not leave him in his hand, nor condemn him when he is judged.
37:34 主を待ち望め、その道を守れ。そうすれば、主はあなたを上げて、国を継がせられる。あなたは悪しき者の／断ち滅ぼされるのを見るであろう。
37:34 Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he shall exalt you to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, you shall see it.
37:35 わたしは悪しき者が勝ち誇って、レバノンの香柏のようにそびえたつのを見た。
37:35 I have seen the wicked in great power, and spreading himself like a green bay tree.
37:36 しかし、わたしが通り過ぎると、見よ、彼はいなかった。わたしは彼を尋ねたけれども見つからなかった。
37:36 Yet he passed away, and, lo, he was not: yea, I sought him, but he could not be found.
37:37 全き人に目をそそぎ、直き人を見よ。おだやかな人には子孫がある。
37:37 Mark the perfect man, and behold the upright: for the end of that man is peace.
37:38 しかし罪を犯す者どもは共に滅ぼされ、悪しき者の子孫は断たれる。
37:38 But the transgressors shall be destroyed together: the end of the wicked shall be cut off.
37:39 正しい人の救は主から出る。主は彼らの悩みの時の避け所である。
37:39 But the salvation of the righteous is of the LORD: he is their strength in the time of trouble.
37:40 主は彼らを助け、彼らを解き放ち、彼らを悪しき者どもから解き放って救われる。彼らは主に寄り頼むからである。
37:40 And the LORD shall help them, and deliver them: he shall deliver them from the wicked, and save them, because they trust in him.

38:1 主よ、あなたの憤りをもってわたしを責めず、激しい怒りをもってわたしを懲らさないでください。
38:1 O LORD, rebuke me not in your wrath: neither chasten me in your hot displeasure.
38:2 あなたの矢がわたしに突き刺さり、あなたの手がわたしの上にくだりました。
38:2 For yours arrows stick fast in me, and your hand presses me sore.
38:3 あなたの怒りによって、わたしの肉には全きところなく、わたしの罪によって、わたしの骨には健やかなところはありません。
38:3 There is no soundness in my flesh because of yours anger; neither is there any rest in my bones because of my sin.
38:4 わたしの不義はわたしの頭を越え、重荷のように重くて負うことができません。
38:4 For mine iniquities are gone over mine head: as an heavy burden they are too heavy for me.
38:5 わたしの愚かによって、わたしの傷は悪臭を放ち、腐れただれました。
38:5 My wounds stink and are corrupt because of my foolishness.
38:6 わたしは折れかがんで、いたくうなだれ、ひねもす悲しんで歩くのです。
38:6 I am troubled; I am bowed down greatly; I go mourning all the day long.
38:7 わたしの腰はことごとく焼け、わたしの肉には全きところがありません。
38:7 For my loins are filled with a loathsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.
38:8 わたしは衰えはて、いたく打ちひしがれ、わたしの心の激しい騒ぎによってうめき叫びます。
38:8 I am feeble and sore broken: I have roared by reason of the chaos of my heart.
38:9 主よ、わたしのすべての願いはあなたに知られ、わたしの嘆きはあなたに隠れることはありません。
38:9 Lord, all my desire is before you; and my groaning is not hid from you.
38:10 わたしの胸は激しく打ち、わたしの力は衰え、わたしの目の光もまた、わたしを離れ去りました。
38:10 My heart pants, my strength fails me: as for the light of mine eyes, it also is gone from me.
38:11 わが友、わがともがらは／わたしの災を見て離れて立ち、わが親族もまた遠く離れて立っています。
38:11 My lovers and my friends stand aloof from my sore; and my kinsmen stand far off.
38:12 わたしのいのちを求める者はわなを設け、わたしをそこなおうとする者は滅ぼすことを語り、ひねもす欺くことをはかるのです。
38:12 They also that seek after my life lay snares for me: and they that seek my hurt speak mischievous things, and imagine deceits all the day long.
38:13 しかしわたしは耳のきこえない人のように聞かず、口のきけない人のように話しません。
38:13 But I, as a deaf man, heard not; and I was as a dumb man that opens not his mouth.
38:14 まことに、わたしは聞かない人のごとく、議論を口にしない人のようです。
38:14 Thus I was as a man that hears not, and in whose mouth are no reproofs.
38:15 しかし、主よ、わたしはあなたを待ち望みます。わが神、主よ、あなたこそわたしに答えられるのです。
38:15 For in you, O LORD, do I hope: you will hear, O Lord my God.
38:16 わたしは祈ります、「わが足のすべるとき、わたしにむかって高ぶる彼らに／わたしのことによって喜ぶことを／ゆるさないでください」と。
38:16 For I said, Hear me, lest otherwise they should rejoice over me: when my foot slips, they magnify themselves against me.
38:17 わたしは倒れるばかりになり、わたしの苦しみは常にわたしと共にあります。
38:17 For I am ready to halt, and my sorrow is continually before me.
38:18 わたしは、みずから不義を言いあらわし、わが罪のために悲しみます。
38:18 For I will declare mine iniquity; I will be sorry for my sin.
38:19 ゆえなく、わたしに敵する者は強く、偽ってわたしを憎む者は多いのです。
38:19 But mine enemies are lively, and they are strong: and they that hate me wrongfully are multiplied.
38:20 悪をもって善に報いる者は、わたしがよい事に従うがゆえに、わがあだとなります。
38:20 They also that render evil for good are mine adversaries; because I follow the thing that good is.
38:21 主よ、わたしを捨てないでください。わが神よ、わたしに遠ざからないでください。
38:21 Forsake me not, O LORD: O my God, be not far from me.
38:22 主、わが救よ、すみやかにわたしをお助けください。
38:22 Make haste to help me, O Lord my salvation.
