77:1 わたしは神にむかい声をあげて叫ぶ。わたしが神にむかって声をあげれば、神はわたしに聞かれる。
77:1 I cried unto God with my voice, even unto God with my voice; and he gave ear unto me.
77:2 わたしは悩みの日に主をたずね求め、夜はわが手を伸べてたゆむことなく、わが魂は慰められるのを拒む。
77:2 In the day of my trouble I sought the Lord: my sore ran in the night, and ceased not: my soul refused to be comforted.
77:3 わたしは神を思うとき、嘆き悲しみ、深く思うとき、わが魂は衰える。〔セラ
77:3 I remembered God, and was troubled: I complained, and my spirit was overwhelmed. Selah.
77:4 あなたはわたしのまぶたをささえて閉じさせず、わたしは物言うこともできないほどに悩む。
77:4 You hold mine eyes waking: I am so troubled that I cannot speak.
77:5 わたしは昔の日を思い、いにしえの年を思う。
77:5 I have considered the days of old, the years of ancient times.
77:6 わたしは夜、わが心と親しく語り、深く思うてわが魂を探り、言う、
77:6 I call to remembrance my song in the night: I commune with mine own heart: and my spirit made diligent search.
77:7 「主はとこしえにわれらを捨てられるであろうか。ふたたび、めぐみを施されないであろうか。
77:7 Will the Lord cast off for ever? and will he be favourable no more?
77:8 そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶え、その約束は世々ながくすたれるであろうか。
77:8 Is his mercy clean gone for ever? does his promise fail for evermore?
77:9 神は恵みを施すことを忘れ、怒りをもって／そのあわれみを閉じられたであろうか」と。〔セラ
77:9 Has God forgotten to be gracious? has he in anger shut up his tender mercies? Selah.
77:10 その時わたしは言う、「わたしの悲しみは／いと高き者の右の手が変ったことである」と。
77:10 And I said, This is my infirmity: but I will remember the years of the right hand of the most High.
77:11 わたしは主のみわざを思い起す。わたしは、いにしえからの／あなたのくすしきみわざを思いいだす。
77:11 I will remember the works of the LORD: surely I will remember your wonders of old.
77:12 わたしは、あなたのすべてのみわざを思い、あなたの力あるみわざを深く思う。
77:12 I will meditate also of all your work, and talk of your doings.
77:13 神よ、あなたの道は聖である。われらの神のように大いなる神はだれか。
77:13 Your way, O God, is in the sanctuary: who is so great a God as our God?
77:14 あなたは、くすしきみわざを行われる神である。あなたは、もろもろの民の間に、その大能をあらわし、
77:14 You are the God that do wonders: you have declared your strength among the people.
77:15 その腕をもっておのれの民をあがない、ヤコブとヨセフの子らをあがなわれた。〔セラ
77:15 You have with yours arm redeemed your people, the sons of Jacob and Joseph. Selah.
77:16 神よ、大水はあなたを見た。大水はあなたを見ておののき、淵もまた震えた。
77:16 The waters saw you, O God, the waters saw you; they were afraid: the depths also were troubled.
77:17 雲は水を注ぎいだし、空は雷をとどろかし、あなたの矢は四方にきらめいた。
77:17 The clouds poured out water: the skies sent out a sound: yours arrows also went abroad.
77:18 あなたの雷のとどろきは、つむじ風の中にあり、あなたのいなずまは世を照し、地は震い動いた。
77:18 The voice of your thunder was in the heaven: the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
77:19 あなたの大路は海の中にあり、あなたの道は大水の中にあり、あなたの足跡はたずねえなかった。
77:19 Your way is in the sea, and your path in the great waters, and your footsteps are not known.
77:20 あなたは、その民をモーセとアロンの手によって／羊の群れのように導かれた。
77:20 You led your people like a flock by the hand of Moses and Aaron.
78:1 わが民よ、わが教を聞き、わが口の言葉に耳を傾けよ。
78:1 Give ear, O my people, to my law: incline your ears to the words of my mouth.
78:2 わたしは口を開いて、たとえを語り、いにしえからの、なぞを語ろう。
78:2 I will open my mouth in a parable: I will utter dark sayings of old:
78:3 これはわれらがさきに聞いて知ったこと、またわれらの先祖たちが／われらに語り伝えたことである。
78:3 Which we have heard and known, and our fathers have told us.
78:4 われらはこれを子孫に隠さず、主の光栄あるみわざと、その力と、主のなされたくすしきみわざとを／きたるべき代に告げるであろう。
78:4 We will not hide them from their children, showing to the generation to come the praises of the LORD, and his strength, and his wonderful works that he has done.
78:5 主はあかしをヤコブのうちにたて、おきてをイスラエルのうちに定めて、その子孫に教うべきことを／われらの先祖たちに命じられた。
78:5 For he established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which he commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children:
78:6 これは次の代に生れる子孫がこれを知り、みずから起って、そのまた子孫にこれを伝え、
78:6 That the generation to come might know them, even the children which should be born; who should arise and declare them to their children:
78:7 彼らをして神に望みをおき、神のみわざを忘れず、その戒めを守らせるためである。
78:7 That they might set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep his commandments:
78:8 またその先祖たちのようにかたくなで、そむく者のやからとなり、その心が定まりなく、その魂が神に忠実でないやからと／ならないためである。
78:8 And might not be as their fathers, a stubborn and rebellious generation; a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirit was not steadfast with God.
78:9 エフライムの人々は武装し、弓を携えたが、戦いの日に引き返した。
78:9 The children of Ephraim, being armed, and carrying bows, turned back in the day of battle.
78:10 彼らは神の契約を守らず、そのおきてにしたがって歩むことを拒み、
78:10 They kept not the covenant of God, and refused to walk in his law;
78:11 神がなされた事と、彼らに示されたくすしきみわざとを忘れた。
78:11 And forgotten about his works, and his wonders that he had showed them.
78:12 神はエジプトの地と、ゾアンの野で／くすしきみわざを彼らの先祖たちの前に行われた。
78:12 Marvellous things did he in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan.
78:13 神は海を分けて彼らを通らせ、水を立たせて山のようにされた。
78:13 He divided the sea, and caused them to pass through; and he made the waters to stand as an heap.
78:14 昼は雲をもって彼らを導き、夜は、よもすがら火の光をもって彼らを導かれた。
78:14 In the daytime also he led them with a cloud, and all the night with a light of fire.
78:15 神は荒野で岩を裂き、淵から飲むように豊かに彼らに飲ませ、
78:15 He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths.
78:16 また岩から流れを引いて、川のように水を流れさせられた。
78:16 He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers.
78:17 ところが彼らはなお神にむかって罪をかさね、荒野でいと高き者にそむき、
78:17 And they sinned yet more against him by provoking the most High in the wilderness.
78:18 おのが欲のために食物を求めて、その心のうちに神を試みた。
78:18 And they tempted God in their heart by asking food for their lust.
78:19 また彼らは神に逆らって言った、「神は荒野に宴を設けることができるだろうか。
78:19 Yea, they spoke against God; they said, Can God furnish a table in the wilderness?
78:20 見よ、神が岩を打たれると、水はほとばしりいで、流れがあふれた。神はまたパンを与えることができるだろうか。民のために肉を備えることができるだろうか」と。
78:20 Behold, he stroke the rock, that the waters gushed out, and the streams overflowed; can he give bread also? can he provide flesh for his people?
78:21 それゆえ、主は聞いて憤られた。火はヤコブにむかって燃えあがり、怒りはイスラエルにむかって立ちのぼった。
78:21 Therefore the LORD heard this, and was angry: so a fire was kindled against Jacob, and anger also came up against Israel;
78:22 これは彼らが神を信ぜず、その救の力を信用しなかったからである。
78:22 Because they believed not in God, and trusted not in his salvation:
78:23 しかし神は上なる大空に命じて天の戸を開き、
78:23 Though he had commanded the clouds from above, and opened the doors of heaven,
78:24 彼らの上にマナを降らせて食べさせ、天の穀物を彼らに与えられた。
78:24 And had rained down manna upon them to eat, and had given them of the corn of heaven.
78:25 人は天使のパンを食べた。神は彼らに食物をおくって飽き足らせられた。
78:25 Man did eat angels' food: he sent them food to the full.
78:26 神は天に東風を吹かせ、み力をもって南風を導かれた。
78:26 He caused an east wind to blow in the heaven: and by his power he brought in the south wind.
78:27 神は彼らの上に肉をちりのように降らせ、翼ある鳥を海の砂のように降らせて、
78:27 He rained flesh also upon them as dust, and feathered fowls like the sand of the sea:
78:28 その宿営のなか、そのすまいのまわりに落された。
78:28 And he let it fall in the midst of their camp, round about their habitations.
78:29 こうして彼らは食べて、飽き足ることができた。神が彼らにその望んだものを与えられたからである。
78:29 So they did eat, and were well filled: for he gave them their own desire;
78:30 ところが彼らがまだその欲を離れず、食物がなお口の中にあるうちに、
78:30 They were not cut off from their lust. But while their food was yet in their mouths,
78:31 神の怒りが彼らにむかって立ちのぼり、彼らのうちの最も強い者を殺し、イスラエルのうちのえり抜きの者を打ち倒された。
78:31 The wrath of God came upon them, and slew the fattest of them, and stroke down the chosen men of Israel.
78:32 すべてこれらの事があったにもかかわらず、彼らはなお罪を犯し、そのくすしきみわざを信じなかった。
78:32 For all this they sinned still, and believed not for his wondrous works.
78:33 それゆえ神は彼らの日を息のように消えさせ、彼らの年を恐れをもって過ごさせられた。
78:33 Therefore their days did he consume in vanity, and their years in trouble.
78:34 神が彼らを殺されたとき、彼らは神をたずね、悔いて神を熱心に求めた。
78:34 When he slew them, then they sought him: and they returned and enquired early after God.
78:35 こうして彼らは、神は彼らの岩、いと高き神は／彼らのあがないぬしであることを思い出した。
78:35 And they remembered that God was their rock, and the high God their redeemer.
78:36 しかし彼らはその口をもって神にへつらい、その舌をもって神に偽りを言った。
78:36 Nevertheless they did flatter him with their mouth, and they lied unto him with their tongues.
78:37 彼らの心は神にむかって堅実でなく、神の契約に真実でなかった。
78:37 For their heart was not right with him, neither were they steadfast in his covenant.
78:38 しかし神はあわれみに富まれるので、彼らの不義をゆるして滅ぼさず、しばしばその怒りをおさえて、その憤りをことごとくふり起されなかった。
78:38 But he, being full of compassion, forgave their iniquity, and destroyed them not: yea, many a time turned he his anger away, and did not stir up all his wrath.
78:39 また神は、彼らがただ肉であって、過ぎ去れば再び帰りこぬ風であることを思い出された。
78:39 For he remembered that they were but flesh; a wind that passes away, and comes not again.
78:40 幾たび彼らは野で神にそむき、荒野で神を悲しませたことであろうか。
78:40 How often did they provoke him in the wilderness, and grieve him in the desert!
78:41 彼らはかさねがさね神を試み、イスラエルの聖者を怒らせた。
78:41 Yea, they turned back and tempted God, and limited the Holy One of Israel.
78:42 彼らは神の力をも、神が彼らをあだからあがなわれた日をも／思い出さなかった。
78:42 They remembered not his hand, nor the day when he delivered them from the enemy.
78:43 神はエジプトでもろもろのしるしをおこない、ゾアンの野でもろもろの奇跡をおこない、
78:43 How he had wrought his signs in Egypt, and his wonders in the field of Zoan.
78:44 彼らの川を血に変らせて、その流れを飲むことができないようにされた。
78:44 And had turned their rivers into blood; and their floods, that they could not drink.
78:45 神ははえの群れを彼らのうちに送って彼らを食わせ、かえるを送って彼らを滅ぼされた。
78:45 He sent divers sorts of flies among them, which devoured them; and frogs, which destroyed them.
78:46 また神は彼らの作物を青虫にわたし、彼らの勤労の実をいなごにわたされた。
78:46 He gave also their increase unto the caterpillar, and their labour unto the locust.
78:47 神はひょうをもって彼らのぶどうの木を枯らし、霜をもって彼らのいちじく桑の木を枯らされた。
78:47 He destroyed their vines with hail, and their sycomore trees with frost.
78:48 神は彼らの家畜をひょうにわたし、彼らの群れを燃えるいなずまにわたされた。
78:48 He gave up their cattle also to the hail, and their flocks to hot thunderbolts.
78:49 神は彼らの上に激しい怒りと、憤りと、恨みと、悩みと、滅ぼす天使の群れとを放たれた。
78:49 He cast upon them the fierceness of his anger, wrath, and indignation, and trouble, by sending evil angels among them.
78:50 神はその怒りのために道を設け、彼らの魂を死から免れさせず、そのいのちを疫病にわたされた。
78:50 He made a way to his anger; he spared not their soul from death, but gave their life over to the pestilence;
78:51 神はエジプトですべてのういごを撃ち、ハムの天幕で彼らの力の初めの子を撃たれた。
78:51 And stroke all the firstborn in Egypt; the chief of their strength in the tabernacles of Ham:
78:52 こうして神はおのれの民を羊のように引き出し、彼らを荒野で羊の群れのように導き、
78:52 But made his own people to go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock.
78:53 彼らを安らかに導かれたので／彼らは恐れることがなかった。しかし海は彼らの敵をのみつくした。
78:53 And he led them on safely, so that they feared not: but the sea overwhelmed their enemies.
78:54 神は彼らをその聖地に伴い、その右の手をもって獲たこの山に伴いこられた。
78:54 And he brought them to the border of his sanctuary, even to this mountain, which his right hand had purchased.
78:55 神は彼らの前からもろもろの国民を追い出し、その地を分けて嗣業とし、イスラエルの諸族を彼らの天幕に住まわせられた。
78:55 He cast out the heathen also before them, and divided them an inheritance by line, and made the tribes of Israel to dwell in their tents.
78:56 しかし彼らはいと高き神を試み、これにそむいて、そのもろもろのあかしを守らず、
78:56 Yet they tempted and provoked the most high God, and kept not his testimonies:
78:57 そむき去って、先祖たちのように真実を失い、狂った弓のようにねじれた。
78:57 But turned back, and dealt unfaithfully like their fathers: they were turned aside like a deceitful bow.
78:58 彼らは高き所を設けて神を怒らせ、刻んだ像をもって神のねたみを起した。
78:58 For they provoked him to anger with their high places, and moved him to jealousy with their graven images.
78:59 神は聞いて大いに怒り、イスラエルを全くしりぞけられた。
78:59 When God heard this, he was angry, and greatly abhorred Israel:
78:60 神は人々のなかに設けた幕屋なる／シロのすまいを捨て、
78:60 So that he forsook the tabernacle of Shiloh, the tent which he placed among men;
78:61 その力をとりことならせ、その栄光をあだの手にわたされた。
78:61 And delivered his strength into captivity, and his glory into the enemy's hand.
78:62 神はその民をつるぎにわたし、その嗣業にむかって大いなる怒りをもらされた。
78:62 He gave his people over also unto the sword; and was angry with his inheritance.
78:63 火は彼らの若者たちを焼きつくし、彼らのおとめたちは婚姻の歌を失い、
78:63 The fire consumed their young men; and their maidens were not given to marriage.
78:64 彼らの祭司たちはつるぎによって倒れ、彼らのやもめたちは嘆き悲しむことさえしなかった。
78:64 Their priests fell by the sword; and their widows made no lamentation.
78:65 そのとき主は眠った者のさめたように、勇士が酒によって叫ぶように目をさまして、
78:65 Then the LORD awaked as one out of sleep, and like a mighty man that shouts by reason of wine.
78:66 そのあだを撃ち退け、とこしえの恥を彼らに負わせられた。
78:66 And he stroke his enemies in the hinder parts: he put them to a perpetual reproach.
78:67 神はヨセフの天幕をしりぞけ、エフライムの部族を選ばず、
78:67 Moreover he refused the tabernacle of Joseph, and chose not the tribe of Ephraim:
78:68 ユダの部族を選び、神の愛するシオンの山を選ばれた。
78:68 But chose the tribe of Judah, the mount Zion which he loved.
78:69 神はその聖所を高い天のように建て、とこしえに基を定められた地のように建てられた。
78:69 And he built his sanctuary like high palaces, like the earth which he has established for ever.
78:70 神はそのしもべダビデを選んで、羊のおりから取り、
78:70 He chose David also his servant, and took him from the sheepfolds:
78:71 乳を与える雌羊の番をするところからつれて来て、その民ヤコブ、その嗣業イスラエルの牧者とされた。
78:71 From following the ewes great with young he brought him to feed Jacob his people, and Israel his inheritance.
78:72 こうして彼は直き心をもって彼らを牧し、巧みな手をもって彼らを導いた。
78:72 So he fed them according to the integrity of his heart; and guided them by the skillfulness of his hands.
79:1 神よ、もろもろの異邦人はあなたの嗣業の地を侵し、あなたの聖なる宮をけがし、エルサレムを荒塚としました。
79:1 O god, the heathen are come into yours inheritance; your holy temple have they defiled; they have laid Jerusalem on heaps.
79:2 彼らはあなたのしもべのしかばねを／空の鳥に与えてえさとし、あなたの聖徒の肉を地の獣に与え、
79:2 The dead bodies of your servants have they given to be food unto the fowls of the heaven, the flesh of your saints unto the beasts of the earth.
79:3 その血をエルサレムのまわりに水のように流し、これを葬る人がありませんでした。
79:3 Their blood have they shed like water round about Jerusalem; and there was none to bury them.
79:4 われらは隣り人にそしられ、まわりの人々に侮られ、あざけられる者となりました。
79:4 We are become a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and derision to them that are round about us.
79:5 主よ、いつまでなのですか。とこしえにお怒りになられるのですか。あなたのねたみは火のように燃えるのですか。
79:5 How long, LORD? will you be angry for ever? shall your jealousy burn like fire?
79:6 どうか、あなたを知らない異邦人と、あなたの名を呼ばない国々の上に／あなたの怒りを注いでください。
79:6 Pour out your wrath upon the heathen that have not known you, and upon the kingdoms that have not called upon your name.
79:7 彼らはヤコブを滅ぼし、そのすみかを荒したからです。
79:7 For they have devoured Jacob, and laid waste his dwelling place.
79:8 われらの先祖たちの不義をみこころにとめられず、あわれみをもって、すみやかにわれらを／迎えてください。われらは、はなはだしく低くされたからです。
79:8 O remember not against us former iniquities: let your tender mercies speedily prevent us: for we are brought very low.
79:9 われらの救の神よ、み名の栄光のためにわれらを助け、み名のためにわれらを救い、われらの罪をおゆるしください。
79:9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of your name: and deliver us, and purge away our sins, for your name's sake.
79:10 どうして異邦人は言うのでしょう、「彼らの神はどこにいるのか」と。あなたのしもべらの流された血の報いを／われらのまのあたりになして、異邦人に知らせてください。
79:10 Wherefore should the heathen say, Where is their God? let him be known among the heathen in our sight by the revenging of the blood of your servants which is shed.
79:11 捕われ人の嘆きを／あなたのみ前にいたらせ、あなたの大いなる力により、死に定められた者を守りながらえさせてください。
79:11 Let the sighing of the prisoner come before you; according to the greatness of your power preserve you those that are appointed to die;
79:12 主よ、われらの隣り人があなたをそしったそしりを／七倍にして彼らのふところに報い返してください。
79:12 And render unto our neighbours sevenfold into their bosom their reproach, wherewith they have reproached you, O Lord.
79:13 そうすれば、あなたの民、あなたの牧の羊は、とこしえにあなたに感謝し、世々あなたをほめたたえるでしょう。
79:13 So we your people and sheep of your pasture will give you thanks for ever: we will show forth your praise to all generations.

80:1 イスラエルの牧者よ、羊の群れのようにヨセフを導かれる者よ、耳を傾けてください。ケルビムの上に座せられる者よ、光を放ってください。
80:1 Give ear, O Shepherd of Israel, you that lead Joseph like a flock; you that dwell between the cherubims, shine forth.
80:2 エフライム、ベニヤミン、マナセの前に／あなたの力を振り起し、来て、われらをお救いください。
80:2 Before Ephraim and Benjamin and Manasseh stir up your strength, and come and save us.
80:3 神よ、われらをもとに返し、み顔の光を照してください。そうすればわれらは救をえるでしょう。
80:3 Turn us again, O God, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.
80:4 万軍の神、主よ、いつまで、その民の祈にむかって／お怒りになるのですか。
80:4 O LORD God of hosts, how long will you be angry against the prayer of your people?
80:5 あなたは涙のパンを彼らに食わせ、多くの涙を彼らに飲ませられました。
80:5 You feed them with the bread of tears; and give them tears to drink in great measure.
80:6 あなたはわれらを隣り人のあざけりとし、われらの敵はたがいにあざわらいました。
80:6 You make us a strife unto our neighbours: and our enemies laugh among themselves.
80:7 万軍の神よ、われらをもとに返し、われらの救われるため、み顔の光を照してください。
80:7 Turn us again, O God of hosts, and cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.
80:8 あなたは、ぶどうの木をエジプトから携え出し、もろもろの国民を追い出して、これを植えられました。
80:8 You have brought a vine out of Egypt: you have cast out the heathen, and planted it.
80:9 あなたはこれがために地を開かれたので、深く根ざして、国にはびこりました。
80:9 You prepared room before it, and did cause it to take deep root, and it filled the land.
80:10 山々はその影でおおわれ、神の香柏はその枝でおおわれました。
80:10 The hills were covered with the shadow of it, and the boughs thereof were like the goodly cedars.
80:11 これはその枝を海にまでのべ、その若枝を大川にまでのべました。
80:11 She sent out her boughs unto the sea, and her branches unto the river.
80:12 あなたは何ゆえ、そのかきをくずして／道ゆくすべての人にその実を／摘み取らせられるのですか。
80:12 Why have you then broken down her hedges, so that all they which pass by the way do pluck her?
80:13 林のいのししはこれを荒し、野のすべての獣はこれを食べます。
80:13 The boar out of the wood does waste it, and the wild beast of the field does devour it.
80:14 万軍の神よ、再び天から見おろして、このぶどうの木をかえりみてください。
80:14 Return, we plead to you, O God of hosts: look down from heaven, and behold, and visit this vine;
80:15 あなたの右の手の植えられた幹と、みずからのために強くされた枝とを／かえりみてください。
80:15 And the vineyard which your right hand has planted, and the branch that you made strong for yourself.
80:16 彼らは火をもってこれを焼き、これを切り倒しました。彼らをみ顔のとがめによって滅ぼしてください。
80:16 It is burned with fire, it is cut down: they perish at the rebuke of your countenance.
80:17 しかしあなたの手をその右の手の人の上におき、みずからのために強くされた人の子の上に／おいてください。
80:17 Let your hand be upon the man of your right hand, upon the son of man whom you made strong for yourself.
80:18 そうすれば、われらはあなたを／離れ退くことはありません。われらを生かしてください。われらはあなたのみ名を呼びます。
80:18 So will not we go back from you: quicken us, and we will call upon your name.
80:19 万軍の神、主よ、われらをもとに返し、み顔の光を照してください。そうすればわれらは救をえるでしょう。
80:19 Turn us again, O LORD God of hosts, cause your face to shine; and we shall be saved.

81:1 われらの力なる神にむかって高らかに歌え。ヤコブの神にむかって喜びの声をあげよ。
81:1 Sing aloud unto God our strength: make a joyful noise unto the God of Jacob.
81:2 歌をうたい、鼓を打て。良い音の琴と立琴とをかきならせ。
81:2 Take a psalm, and bring here the timbrel, the pleasant harp with the psaltery.

81:3 Blow up the trumpet in the new moon, in the time appointed, on our solemn feast day.
81:4 これはイスラエルの定め、ヤコブの神のおきてである。
81:4 For this was a statute for Israel, and a law of the God of Jacob.
81:5 神が出てエジプトの国を攻められたとき、ヨセフのなかにこれを立てて、あかしとされた。わたしはかしこでまだ知らなかった言葉を聞いた、
81:5 This he ordained in Joseph for a testimony, when he went out through the land of Egypt: where I heard a language that I understood not.
81:6 「わたしはあなたの肩から重荷をのぞき、あなたの手をかごから免れさせた。
81:6 I removed his shoulder from the burden: his hands were delivered from the pots.

81:7 You called in trouble, and I delivered you; I answered you in the secret place of thunder: I proved you at the waters of Meribah. Selah.

81:8 Hear, O my people, and I will testify unto you: O Israel, if you will hearken unto me;

81:9 There shall no strange god be in you; neither shall you worship any strange god.

81:10 I am the LORD your God, which brought you out of the land of Egypt: open your mouth wide, and I will fill it.

81:16 He should have fed them also with the finest of the wheat: and with honey out of the rock should I have satisfied you.

82:1 God stands in the congregation of the mighty; he judges among the gods.

82:2 How long will all of you judge unjustly, and accept the persons of the wicked? Selah.
82:3 弱い者と、みなしごとを公平に扱い、苦しむ者と乏しい者の権利を擁護せよ。
82:3 Defend the poor and fatherless: do justice to the afflicted and needy.

89:17 For you are the glory of their strength: and in your favour our horn shall be exalted.

89:20 I have found David my servant; with my holy oil have I anointed him:

89:22 The enemy shall not exact upon him; nor the son of wickedness afflict him.

89:23 And I will beat down his foes before his face, and plague them that hate him.
89:24 わがまことと、わがいつくしみは彼と共にあり、わが名によって彼の角は高くあげられる。
89:24 But my faithfulness and my mercy shall be with him: and in my name shall his horn be exalted.
89:25 わたしは彼の手を海の上におき、彼の右の手を川の上におく。
89:25 I will set his hand also in the sea, and his right hand in the rivers.
89:26 彼はわたしにむかい『あなたはわが父、わが神、わが救の岩』と呼ぶであろう。
89:26 He shall cry unto me, You are my father, my God, and the rock of my salvation.
89:27 わたしはまた彼をわがういごとし、地の王たちのうちの最も高い者とする。
89:27 Also I will make him my firstborn, higher than the kings of the earth.
89:28 わたしはとこしえに、わがいつくしみを彼のために保ち、わが契約は彼のために堅く立つ。
89:28 My mercy will I keep for him for evermore, and my covenant shall stand fast with him.
89:29 わたしは彼の家系をとこしえに堅く定め、その位を天の日数のようにながらえさせる。
89:29 His seed also will I make to endure for ever, and his throne as the days of heaven.
89:30 もしその子孫がわがおきてを捨て、わがさばきに従って歩まないならば、
89:30 If his children forsake my law, and walk not in my judgments;
89:31 もし彼らがわが定めを犯し、わが戒めを守らないならば、
89:31 If they break my statutes, and keep not my commandments;
89:32 わたしはつえをもって彼らのとがを罰し、むちをもって彼らの不義を罰する。
89:32 Then will I visit their transgression with the rod, and their iniquity with stripes.
89:33 しかし、わたしはわがいつくしみを／彼から取り去ることなく、わがまことにそむくことはない。
89:33 Nevertheless my loving kindness will I not utterly take from him, nor suffer my faithfulness to fail.
89:34 わたしはわが契約を破ることなく、わがくちびるから出た言葉を変えることはない。
89:34 My covenant will I not break, nor alter the thing that is gone out of my lips.
89:35 わたしはひとたびわが聖によって誓った。わたしはダビデに偽りを言わない。
89:35 Once have I sworn by my holiness that I will not lie unto David.

89:36 His seed shall endure for ever, and his throne as the sun before me.

90:1 Lord, you have been our dwelling place in all generations.
90:2 山がまだ生れず、あなたがまだ地と世界とを造られなかったとき、とこしえからとこしえまで、あなたは神でいらせられる。
90:2 Before the mountains were brought forth, before even you had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, you are God.

90:3 You turn man to destruction; and says, Return, all of you children of men.

90:9 われらのすべての日は、あなたの怒りによって過ぎ去り、われらの年の尽きるのは、ひと息のようです。
90:9 For all our days are passed away in your wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.
90:10 われらのよわいは七十年にすぎません。あるいは健やかであっても八十年でしょう。しかしその一生はただ、ほねおりと悩みであって、その過ぎゆくことは速く、われらは飛び去るのです。
90:10 The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.
90:11 だれがあなたの怒りの力を知るでしょうか。だれがあなたをおそれる恐れにしたがって／あなたの憤りを知るでしょうか。
90:11 Who knows the power of yours anger? even according to your fear, so is your wrath.
90:12 われらにおのが日を数えることを教えて、知恵の心を得させてください。
90:12 So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.
90:13 主よ、み心を変えてください。いつまでお怒りになるのですか。あなたのしもべをあわれんでください。
90:13 Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent you concerning your servants.
90:14 あしたに、あなたのいつくしみをもって／われらを飽き足らせ、世を終るまで喜び楽しませてください。
90:14 O satisfy us early with your mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.
90:15 あなたがわれらを苦しめられた多くの日と、われらが災にあった多くの年とに比べて、われらを楽しませてください。
90:15 Make us glad according to the days wherein you have afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.
90:16 あなたのみわざを、あなたのしもべらに、あなたの栄光を、その子らにあらわしてください。
90:16 Let your work appear unto your servants, and your glory unto their children.

91:1 He that dwells in the secret place of the most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.
91:2 主に言うであろう、「わが避け所、わが城、わが信頼しまつるわが神」と。
91:2 I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: my God; in him will I trust.
91:3 主はあなたをかりゅうどのわなと、恐ろしい疫病から助け出されるからである。
91:3 Surely he shall deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the dangerous pestilence.
91:4 主はその羽をもって、あなたをおおわれる。あなたはその翼の下に避け所を得るであろう。そのまことは大盾、また小盾である。
91:4 He shall cover you with his feathers, and under his wings shall you trust: his truth shall be your shield and buckler.
91:5 あなたは夜の恐ろしい物をも、昼に飛んでくる矢をも恐れることはない。
91:5 You shall not be afraid for the terror by night; nor for the arrow that flies by day;
91:6 また暗やみに歩きまわる疫病をも、真昼に荒す滅びをも恐れることはない。
91:6 Nor for the pestilence that walks in darkness; nor for the destruction that wastes at noonday.
91:7 たとい千人はあなたのかたわらに倒れ、万人はあなたの右に倒れても、その災はあなたに近づくことはない。
91:7 A thousand shall fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand; but it shall not come nigh you.
91:8 あなたはただ、その目をもって見、悪しき者の報いを見るだけである。
91:8 Only with yours eyes shall you behold and see the reward of the wicked.

92:2 To show forth your loving kindness in the morning, and your faithfulness every night,
92:3 十弦の楽器と立琴を用い、琴のたえなる調べを用いるのは、よいことです。
92:3 Upon an instrument of ten strings, and upon the psaltery; upon the harp with a solemn sound.
92:4 主よ、あなたはみわざをもって／わたしを楽しませられました。わたしはあなたのみ手のわざを喜び歌います。
92:4 For you, LORD, have made me glad through your work: I will triumph in the works of your hands.

92:5 O LORD, how great are your works! and your thoughts are very deep.
92:6 鈍い者は知ることができず、愚かな者はこれを悟ることができません。
92:6 A brutish man knows not; neither does a fool understand this.

92:10 But my horn shall you exalt like the horn of an unicorn (p. ox): I shall be anointed with fresh oil.

92:11 Mine eye also shall see my desire on mine enemies, and mine ears shall hear my desire of the wicked that rise up against me.

92:12 The righteous shall flourish like the palm tree: he shall grow like a cedar in Lebanon.

93:1 The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, wherewith he has girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.
93:2 あなたの位はいにしえより堅く立ち、あなたはとこしえよりいらせられます。
93:2 Your throne is established of old: you are from everlasting.

93:3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

94:2 地をさばかれる者よ、立って／高ぶる者にその受くべき罰をお与えください。
94:2 Lift up yourself, you judge of the earth: render a reward to the proud.
94:3 主よ、悪しき者はいつまで、悪しき者はいつまで勝ち誇るでしょうか。
94:3 LORD, how long shall the wicked, how long shall the wicked triumph?

94:4 How long shall they utter and speak hard things? and all the workers of iniquity boast themselves?

94:9 He that planted the ear, shall he not hear? he that formed the eye, shall he not see?
94:10 もろもろの国民を懲らす者は／罰することをしないだろうか、人を教える者は知識をもたないだろうか。
94:10 He that chastises the heathen, shall not he correct? he that teaches man knowledge, shall not he know?
94:11 主は人の思いの、むなしいことを知られる。
94:11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are vanity.
94:12 主よ、あなたによって懲らされる人、あなたのおきてを教えられる人はさいわいです。
94:12 Blessed is the man whom you chasten, O LORD, and teach him out of your law;
94:13 あなたはその人を災の日からのがれさせ、悪しき者のために穴が掘られるまで／その人に平安を与えられます。
94:13 That you may give him rest from the days of adversity, until the pit be dug for the wicked.
94:14 主はその民を捨てず、その嗣業を見捨てられないからです。
94:14 For the LORD will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.
94:15 さばきは正義に帰り、すべて心の正しい者はそれに従うでしょう。
94:15 But judgment shall return unto righteousness: and all the upright in heart shall follow it.
94:16 だれがわたしのために立ちあがって、悪しき者を責めるだろうか。だれがわたしのために立って、不義を行う者を責めるだろうか。
94:16 Who will rise up for me against the evildoers? or who will stand up for me against the workers of iniquity?
94:17 もしも主がわたしを助けられなかったならば、わが魂はとくに音なき所に住んだであろう。
94:17 Unless the LORD had been my help, my soul had almost dwelt in silence.
94:18 しかし「わたしの足がすべる」と思ったとき、主よ、あなたのいつくしみは／わたしをささえられました。
94:18 When I said, My foot slips; your mercy, O LORD, held me up.
94:19 わたしのうちに思い煩いの満ちるとき、あなたの慰めはわが魂を喜ばせます。
94:19 In the multitude of my thoughts within me your comforts delight my soul.
94:20 定めをもって危害をたくらむ悪しき支配者は／あなたと親しむことができるでしょうか。
94:20 Shall the throne of iniquity have fellowship with you, which frames mischief by a law?
94:21 彼らは相結んで正しい人の魂を責め、罪のない者に死を宣告します。
94:21 They gather themselves together against the soul of the righteous, and condemn the innocent blood.

94:23 And he shall bring upon them their own iniquity, and shall cut them off in their own wickedness; yea, the LORD our God shall cut them off.

95:4 地の深い所は主のみ手にあり、山々の頂もまた主のものである。
95:4 In his hand are the deep places of the earth: the strength of the hills is his also.

95:5 The sea is his, and he made it: and his hands formed the dry land.

95:8 Harden not your heart, as in the provocation, and as in the day of temptation in the wilderness:

95:9 When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my work.

95:10 Forty years long was I grieved with this generation, and said, It is a people that do go astray in their heart, and they have not known my ways:

96:4 主は大いなる神であって、いともほめたたうべきもの、もろもろの神にまさって恐るべき者である。
96:4 For the LORD is great, and greatly to be praised: he is to be feared above all gods.
96:5 もろもろの民のすべての神はむなしい。しかし主はもろもろの天を造られた。
96:5 For all the gods of the nations are idols: but the LORD made the heavens.
96:6 誉と、威厳とはそのみ前にあり、力と、うるわしさとはその聖所にある。
96:6 Honour and majesty are before him: strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.
96:7 もろもろの民のやからよ、主に帰せよ、栄光と力とを主に帰せよ。
96:7 Give unto the LORD, O all of you families of the people, give unto the LORD glory and strength.
96:8 そのみ名にふさわしい栄光を主に帰せよ。供え物を携えてその大庭にきたれ。
96:8 Give unto the LORD the glory due unto his name: bring an offering, and come into his courts.
96:9 聖なる装いをして主を拝め、全地よ、そのみ前におののけ。
96:9 O worship the LORD in the beauty of holiness: fear before him, all the earth.
96:10 もろもろの国民の中に言え、「主は王となられた。世界は堅く立って、動かされることはない。主は公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれる」と。
96:10 Say among the heathen that the LORD reigns: the world also shall be established that it shall not be moved: he shall judge the people righteously.
96:11 天は喜び、地は楽しみ、海とその中に満ちるものとは鳴りどよめき、
96:11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof.
96:12 田畑とその中のすべての物は大いに喜べ。そのとき、林のもろもろの木も／主のみ前に喜び歌うであろう。
96:12 Let the field be joyful, and all that is therein: then shall all the trees of the wood rejoice
96:13 主は来られる、地をさばくために来られる。主は義をもって世界をさばき、まことをもってもろもろの民をさばかれる。
96:13 Before the LORD: for he comes, for he comes to judge the earth: he shall judge the world with righteousness, and the people with his truth.
97:1 主は王となられた。地は楽しみ、海に沿った多くの国々は喜べ。
97:1 The LORD reigns; let the earth rejoice; let the multitude of isles be glad thereof.
97:2 雲と暗やみとはそのまわりにあり、義と正とはそのみくらの基である。
97:2 Clouds and darkness are round about him: righteousness and judgment are the habitation of his throne.
97:3 火はそのみ前に行き、そのまわりのあだを焼きつくす。
97:3 A fire goes before him, and burns up his enemies round about.
97:4 主のいなずまは世界を照し、地は見ておののく。
97:4 His lightnings enlightened the world: the earth saw, and trembled.
97:5 もろもろの山は主のみ前に、全地の主のみ前に、ろうのように溶けた。
97:5 The hills melted like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth.
97:6 もろもろの天はその義をあらわし、よろずの民はその栄光を見た。
97:6 The heavens declare his righteousness, and all the people see his glory.
97:7 すべて刻んだ像を拝む者、むなしい偶像をもってみずから誇る者は／はずかしめをうける。もろもろの神は主のみ前にひれ伏す。
97:7 Confounded be all they that serve graven images, that boast themselves of idols: worship him, all you gods.
97:8 主よ、あなたのさばきのゆえに、シオンは聞いて喜び、ユダの娘たちは楽しむ。
97:8 Zion heard, and was glad; and the daughters of Judah rejoiced because of your judgments, O LORD.
97:9 主よ、あなたは全地の上にいまして、いと高く、もろもろの神にまさって大いにあがめられます。
97:9 For you, LORD, are high above all the earth: you are exalted far above all gods.
97:10 主は悪を憎む者を愛し、その聖徒のいのちを守り、これを悪しき者の手から助け出される。
97:10 All of you that love the LORD, hate evil: he perserves the souls of his saints; he delivers them out of the hand of the wicked.
97:11 光は正しい人のために現れ、喜びは心の正しい者のためにあらわれる。
97:11 Light is sown for the righteous, and gladness for the upright in heart.
97:12 正しき人よ、主によって喜べ、その聖なるみ名に感謝せよ。
97:12 Rejoice in the LORD, all of you righteous; and give thanks at the remembrance of his holiness.
98:1 新しき歌を主にむかってうたえ。主はくすしきみわざをなされたからである。その右の手と聖なる腕とは、おのれのために勝利を得られた。
98:1 O sing unto the LORD a new song; for he has done marvellous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, has got him the victory.
98:2 主はその勝利を知らせ、その義をもろもろの国民の前にあらわされた。
98:2 The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.
98:3 主はそのいつくしみと、まこととを／イスラエルの家にむかって覚えられた。地のもろもろのはては、われらの神の勝利を見た。
98:3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.
98:4 全地よ、主にむかって喜ばしき声をあげよ。声を放って喜び歌え、ほめうたえ。
98:4 Make a joyful noise unto the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.
98:5 琴をもって主をほめうたえ。琴と歌の声をもってほめうたえ。
98:5 Sing unto the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.
98:6 ラッパと角笛の音をもって／王なる主の前に喜ばしき声をあげよ。
98:6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.
98:7 海とその中に満ちるもの、世界とそのうちに住む者とは鳴りどよめけ。
98:7 Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
98:8 大水はその手を打ち、もろもろの山は共に主のみ前に喜び歌え。
98:8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together
98:9 主は地をさばくために来られるからである。主は義をもって世界をさばき、公平をもってもろもろの民をさばかれる。
98:9 Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
99:1 主は王となられた。もろもろの民はおののけ。主はケルビムの上に座せられる。地は震えよ。
99:1 The LORD reigns; let the people tremble: he sits between the cherubims; let the earth be moved.
99:2 主はシオンにおられて大いなる神、主はもろもろの民の上に高くいらせられる。
99:2 The LORD is great in Zion; and he is high above all the people.
99:3 彼らはあなたの大いなる恐るべきみ名を／ほめたたえるであろう。主は聖でいらせられる。
99:3 Let them praise your great and terrible name; for it is holy.
99:4 大能の王であり、公義を愛する者であるあなたは／堅く公平を立て、ヤコブの中に正と義とを行われた。
99:4 The king's strength also loves judgment; you do establish equity, you execute judgment and righteousness in Jacob.
99:5 われらの神、主をあがめ、その足台のもとで拝みまつれ。主は聖でいらせられる。
99:5 Exalt all of you the LORD our God, and worship at his footstool; for he is holy.
99:6 その祭司の中にモーセとアロンとがあった。そのみ名を呼ぶ者の中にサムエルもあった。彼らが主に呼ばわると、主は答えられた。
99:6 Moses and Aaron among his priests, and Samuel among them that call upon his name; they called upon the LORD, and he answered them.
99:7 主は雲の柱のうちで彼らに語られた。彼らはそのあかしと、彼らに賜わった定めとを守った。
99:7 He spoke unto them in the cloudy pillar: they kept his testimonies, and the ordinance that he gave them.

99:8 You answered them, O LORD our God: you were a God that forgave them, though you took vengeance of their inventions.

99:9 Exalt the LORD our God, and worship at his holy hill; for the LORD our God is holy.

100:2 喜びをもって主に仕えよ。歌いつつ、そのみ前にきたれ。
100:2 Serve the LORD with gladness: come before his presence with singing.
100:3 主こそ神であることを知れ。われらを造られたものは主であって、われらは主のものである。われらはその民、その牧の羊である。
100:3 Know all of you that the LORD he is God: it is he that has made us, and not we ourselves; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
100:4 感謝しつつ、その門に入り、ほめたたえつつ、その大庭に入れ。主に感謝し、そのみ名をほめまつれ。
100:4 Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, and into his courts with praise: be thankful unto him, and bless his name.
100:5 主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはかぎりなく、そのまことはよろず代に及ぶからである。
100:5 For the LORD is good; his mercy is everlasting; and his truth endures to all generations.

101:1 I will sing of mercy and judgment: unto you, O LORD, will I sing.

101:2 I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. O when will you come unto me? I will walk within my house with a perfect heart.
101:3 わたしは目の前に卑しい事を置きません。わたしはそむく者の行いを憎みます。それはわたしに付きまといません。
101:3 I will set no wicked thing before mine eyes: I hate the work of them that turn aside; it shall not cleave to me.

101:4 A perverse heart shall depart from me: I will not know a wicked person.

101:5 Whoso privately slanders his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that has an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.

101:6 Mine eyes shall be upon the faithful of the land, that they may dwell with me: he that walks in a perfect way, he shall serve me.

101:7 He that works deceit shall not dwell within my house: he that tells lies shall not tarry in my sight.

102:1 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and let my cry come unto you.
102:2 わたしの悩みの日にみ顔を隠すことなく、あなたの耳をわたしに傾け、わが呼ばわる日に、すみやかにお答えください。
102:2 Hide not your face from me in the day when I am in trouble; incline yours ear unto me: in the day when I call answer me speedily.
102:3 わたしの日は煙のように消え、わたしの骨は炉のように燃えるからです。
102:3 For my days are consumed like smoke, and my bones are burned as an hearth.
102:4 わたしの心は草のように撃たれて、しおれました。わたしはパンを食べることを忘れました。

102:8 Mine enemies reproach me all the day; and they that are mad against me are sworn against me.

102:9 For I have eaten ashes like bread, and mingled my drink with weeping.

102:13 You shall arise, and have mercy upon Zion: for the time to favour her, yea, the set time, has come.

102:14 For your servants take pleasure in her stones, and favour the dust thereof.
102:15 もろもろの国民は主のみ名を恐れ、地のもろもろの王はあなたの栄光を恐れるでしょう。
102:15 So the heathen shall fear the name of the LORD, and all the kings of the earth your glory.
102:16 主はシオンを築き、その栄光をもって現れ、
102:16 When the LORD shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory.
102:17 乏しい者の祈をかえりみ、彼らの願いをかろしめられないからです。
102:17 He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
102:18 きたるべき代のために、この事を書きしるしましょう。そうすれば新しく造られる民は、主をほめたたえるでしょう。
102:18 This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise the LORD.
102:19 主はその聖なる高き所から見おろし、天から地を見られた。
102:19 For he has looked down from the height of his sanctuary; from heaven did the LORD behold the earth;
102:20 これは捕われ人の嘆きを聞き、死に定められた者を解き放ち、
102:20 To hear the groaning of the prisoner; to loose those that are appointed to death;
102:21 人々がシオンで主のみ名をあらわし、エルサレムでその誉をあらわすためです。
102:21 To declare the name of the LORD in Zion, and his praise in Jerusalem;
102:22 その時もろもろの民、もろもろの国は／ともに集まって、主に仕えるでしょう。
102:22 When the people are gathered together, and the kingdoms, to serve the LORD.
102:23 主はわたしの力を中途でくじき、わたしのよわいを短くされました。
102:23 He weakened my strength in the way; he shortened my days.
102:24 わたしは言いました、「わが神よ、どうか、わたしのよわいの半ばでわたしを取り去らないでください。あなたのよわいはよろず代に及びます」と。
102:24 I said, O my God, take me not away in the midst of my days: your years are throughout all generations.
102:25 あなたはいにしえ、地の基をすえられました。天もまたあなたのみ手のわざです。
102:25 Of old have you laid the foundation of the earth: and the heavens are the work of your hands.

103:3 Who forgives all yours iniquities; who heals all your diseases;
103:4 あなたのいのちを墓からあがないいだし、いつくしみと、あわれみとをあなたにこうむらせ、
103:4 Who redeems your life from destruction; who crowns you with loving kindness and tender mercies;
103:5 あなたの生きながらえるかぎり、良き物をもってあなたを飽き足らせられる。こうしてあなたは若返って、わしのように新たになる。
103:5 Who satisfies your mouth with good things; so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's.

103:6 The LORD executes righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.
103:7 主はおのれの道をモーセに知らせ、おのれのしわざをイスラエルの人々に知らせられた。
103:7 He made known his ways unto Moses, his acts unto the children of Israel.
103:8 主はあわれみに富み、めぐみふかく、怒ること遅く、いつくしみ豊かでいらせられる。
103:8 The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abundant in mercy.
103:9 主は常に責めることをせず、また、とこしえに怒りをいだかれない。
103:9 He will not always chide: neither will he keep his anger for ever.
103:10 主はわれらの罪にしたがってわれらをあしらわず、われらの不義にしたがって報いられない。
103:10 He has not dealt with us after our sins; nor rewarded us according to our iniquities.
103:11 天が地よりも高いように、主がおのれを恐れる者に賜わるいつくしみは大きい、
103:11 For as the heaven is high above the earth, so great is his mercy toward them that fear him.
103:12 東が西から遠いように、主はわれらのとがをわれらから遠ざけられる。
103:12 As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.

103:13 Like a father pities his children, so the LORD pities them that fear him.

103:14 For he knows our frame; he remembers that we are dust.
103:15 人は、そのよわいは草のごとく、その栄えは野の花にひとしい。
103:15 As for man, his days are as grass: as a flower of the field, so he flourishes.
103:16 風がその上を過ぎると、うせて跡なく、その場所にきいても、もはやそれを知らない。
103:16 For the wind passes over it, and it is gone; and the place thereof shall know it no more.
103:17 しかし主のいつくしみは、とこしえからとこしえまで、主を恐れる者の上にあり、その義は子らの子に及び、
103:17 But the mercy of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear him, and his righteousness unto children's children;
103:18 その契約を守り、その命令を心にとめて行う者にまで及ぶ。
103:18 To such as keep his covenant, and to those that remember his commandments to do them.
103:19 主はその玉座を天に堅くすえられ、そのまつりごとはすべての物を統べ治める。
103:19 The LORD has prepared his throne in the heavens; and his kingdom rules over all.
103:20 主の使たちよ、そのみ言葉の声を聞いて、これを行う勇士たちよ、主をほめまつれ。
103:20 Bless the LORD, all of you his angels, that excel in strength, that do his commandments, hearkening unto the voice of his word.

104:3 Who lays the beams of his chambers in the waters: who makes the clouds his chariot: who walks upon the wings of the wind:
104:4 風をおのれの使者とし、火と炎をおのれのしもべとされる。
104:4 Who makes his angels spirits; his ministers a flaming fire:
104:5 あなたは地をその基の上にすえて、とこしえに動くことのないようにされた。
104:5 Who laid the foundations of the earth, that it should not be removed for ever.
104:6 あなたはこれを衣でおおうように大水でおおわれた。水はたたえて山々の上を越えた。
104:6 You covered it with the deep as with a garment: the waters stood above the mountains.
104:7 あなたのとがめによって水は退き、あなたの雷の声によって水は逃げ去った。
104:7 At your rebuke they fled; at the voice of your thunder they hasted away.

104:8 They go up by the mountains; they go down by the valleys unto the place which you have founded for them.

104:11 They give drink to every beast of the field: the wild asses quench their thirst.

104:12 By them shall the fowls of the heaven have their habitation, which sing among the branches.
104:13 あなたはその高殿からもろもろの山に水を注がれる。地はあなたのみわざの実をもって満たされる。
104:13 He waters the hills from his chambers: the earth is satisfied with the fruit of your works.
104:14 あなたは家畜のために草をはえさせ、また人のためにその栽培する植物を与えて、地から食物を出させられる。
104:14 He causes the grass to grow for the cattle, and herb for the service of man: that he may bring forth food out of the earth;
104:15 すなわち人の心を喜ばすぶどう酒、その顔をつややかにする油、人の心を強くするパンなどである。
104:15 And wine that makes glad the heart of man, and oil to make his face to shine, and bread which strengthens man's heart.
104:16 主の木と、主がお植えになったレバノンの香柏とは豊かに潤され、
104:16 The trees of the LORD are full of sap; the cedars of Lebanon, which he has planted;
104:17 鳥はその中に巣をつくり、こうのとりはもみの木をそのすまいとする。
104:17 Where the birds make their nests: as for the stork, the fir trees are her house.
104:18 高き山はやぎのすまい、岩は岩だぬきの隠れる所である。
104:18 The high hills are a refuge for the wild goats; and the rocks for the conies.
104:19 あなたは月を造って季節を定められた。日はその入る時を知っている。
104:19 He appointed the moon for seasons: the sun knows his going down.
104:20 あなたは暗やみを造って夜とされた。その時、林の獣は皆忍び出る。
104:20 You make darkness, and it is night: wherein all the beasts of the forest do creep forth.
104:21 若きししはほえてえさを求め、神に食物を求める。
104:21 The young lions roar after their prey, and seek their food from God.
104:22 日が出ると退いて、その穴に寝る。
104:22 The sun arises, they gather themselves together, and lay them down in their dens.
104:23 人は出てわざにつき、その勤労は夕べに及ぶ。
104:23 Man goes forth unto his work and to his labour until the evening.
104:24 主よ、あなたのみわざはいかに多いことであろう。あなたはこれらをみな知恵をもって造られた。地はあなたの造られたもので満ちている。
104:24 O LORD, how manifold are your works! in wisdom have you made them all: the earth is full of your riches.
104:25 かしこに大いなる広い海がある。その中に無数のもの、大小の生き物が満ちている。
104:25 So is this great and wide sea, wherein are things creeping innumerable, both small and great beasts.
104:26 そこに舟が走り、あなたが造られたレビヤタンはその中に戯れる。
104:26 There go the ships: there is that leviathan (p. sea serpent), whom you have made to play therein.
104:27 彼らは皆あなたが時にしたがって／食物をお与えになるのを期待している。
104:27 These wait all upon you; that you may give them their food in due season.
104:28 あなたがお与えになると、彼らはそれを集める。あなたが手を開かれると、彼らは良い物で満たされる。
104:28 That you give them they gather: you open yours hand, they are filled with good.

104:35 どうか、罪びとが地から断ち滅ぼされ、悪しき者が、もはや、いなくなるように。わがたましいよ、主をほめよ。主をほめたたえよ。
104:35 Let the sinners be consumed out of the earth, and let the wicked be no more. Bless you the LORD, O my soul. Praise all of you the LORD.
105:1 主に感謝し、そのみ名を呼び、そのみわざをもろもろの民のなかに知らせよ。
105:1 O give thanks unto the LORD; call upon his name: make known his deeds among the people.
105:2 主にむかって歌え、主をほめうたえ、そのすべてのくすしきみわざを語れ。
105:2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk all of you of all his wondrous works.
105:3 その聖なるみ名を誇れ。主を尋ね求める者の心を喜ばせよ。
105:3 Glory all of you in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD.
105:4 主とそのみ力とを求めよ、つねにそのみ顔を尋ねよ。
105:4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
105:5 そのしもべアブラハムの子孫よ、その選ばれた者であるヤコブの子らよ、主のなされたくすしきみわざと、その奇跡と、そのみ口のさばきとを心にとめよ。
105:5 Remember his marvellous works that he has done; his wonders, and the judgments of his mouth;
105:6 （5節に合節）
105:6 O all of you seed of Abraham his servant, all of you children of Jacob his chosen.
105:7 彼はわれらの神、主でいらせられる。そのさばきは全地にある。
105:7 He is the LORD our God: his judgments are in all the earth.
105:8 主はとこしえに、その契約をみこころにとめられる。これはよろず代に命じられたみ言葉であって、
105:8 He has remembered his covenant for ever, the word which he commanded to a thousand generations.
105:9 アブラハムと結ばれた契約、イサクに誓われた約束である。
105:9 Which covenant he made with Abraham, and his oath unto Isaac;
105:10 主はこれを堅く立てて、ヤコブのために定めとし、イスラエルのために、とこしえの契約として
105:10 And confirmed the same unto Jacob for a law, and to Israel for an everlasting covenant:
105:11 言われた、「わたしはあなたにカナンの地を与えて、あなたがたの受ける嗣業の分け前とする」と。
105:11 Saying, Unto you will I give the land of Canaan, the lot of your inheritance:
105:12 このとき彼らの数は少なくて、数えるに足らず、その所で旅びととなり、
105:12 When they were but a few men in number; yea, very few, and strangers in it.
105:13 この国からかの国へ行き、この国から他の民へ行った。
105:13 When they went from one nation to another, from one kingdom to another people;
105:14 主は人の彼らをしえたげるのをゆるさず、彼らのために王たちを懲らしめて、
105:14 He suffered no man to do them wrong: yea, he reproved kings for their sakes;
105:15 言われた、「わが油そそがれた者たちに／さわってはならない、わが預言者たちに害を加えてはならない」と。
105:15 Saying, Touch not mine anointed, and do my prophets no harm.
105:16 主はききんを地に招き、人のつえとするパンをことごとく砕かれた。
105:16 Moreover he called for a famine upon the land: he brake the whole staff of bread.
105:17 また彼らの前にひとりをつかわされた。すなわち売られて奴隷となったヨセフである。
105:17 He sent a man before them, even Joseph, who was sold for a servant:
105:18 彼の足は足かせをもって痛められ、彼の首は鉄の首輪にはめられ、
105:18 Whose feet they hurt with fetters: he was laid in iron:
105:19 彼の言葉の成る時まで、主のみ言葉が彼を試みた。
105:19 Until the time that his word came: the word of the LORD tried him.
105:20 王は人をつかわして彼を解き放ち、民のつかさは彼に自由を与えた。
105:20 The king sent and loosed him; even the ruler of the people, and let him go free.
105:21 王はその家のつかさとして／その所有をことごとくつかさどらせ、
105:21 He made him lord of his house, and ruler of all his substance:
105:22 その心のままに君たちを教えさせ、長老たちに知恵を授けさせた。
105:22 To bind his princes at his pleasure; and teach his senators wisdom.
105:23 その時イスラエルはエジプトにきたり、ヤコブはハムの地に寄留した。
105:23 Israel also came into Egypt; and Jacob sojourned in the land of Ham.
105:24 主はその民を大いに増し加え、これをそのあだよりも強くされた。
105:24 And he increased his people greatly; and made them stronger than their enemies.
105:25 主は人々の心をかえて、その民を憎ませ、そのしもべたちを悪賢く扱わせられた。
105:25 He turned their heart to hate his people, to deal subtlely with his servants.
105:26 主はそのしもべモーセと、そのお選びになったアロンとをつかわされた。
105:26 He sent Moses his servant; and Aaron whom he had chosen.
105:27 彼らはハムの地で主のしるしと、奇跡とを彼らのうちにおこなった。
105:27 They showed his signs among them, and wonders in the land of Ham.
105:28 主は暗やみをつかわして地を暗くされた。しかし彼らはそのみ言葉に従わなかった。
105:28 He sent darkness, and made it dark; and they rebelled not against his word.
105:29 主は彼らの水を血に変らせて、その魚を殺された。
105:29 He turned their waters into blood, and slew their fish.
105:30 彼らの国には、かえるが群がり、王の寝間にまではいった。
105:30 Their land brought forth frogs in abundance, in the chambers of their kings.
105:31 主が言われると、はえの群れがきたり、ぶよが国じゅうにあった。
105:31 He spoke, and there came divers sorts of flies, and lice in all their coasts.
105:32 主は雨にかえて、ひょうを彼らに与え、きらめくいなずまを彼らの国に放たれた。
105:32 He gave them hail for rain, and flaming fire in their land.
105:33 主は彼らのぶどうの木と、いちじくの木とを撃ち、彼らの国のもろもろの木を折り砕かれた。
105:33 He stroke their vines also and their fig trees; and brake the trees of their coasts.
105:34 主が言われると、いなごがきたり、無数の若いいなごが来て、
105:34 He spoke, and the locusts came, and caterpillars, and that without number,
105:35 彼らの国のすべての青物を食いつくし、その地の実を食いつくした。
105:35 And did eat up all the herbs in their land, and devoured the fruit of their ground.
105:36 主は彼らの国のすべてのういごを撃ち、彼らのすべての力の初めを撃たれた。
105:36 He stroke also all the firstborn in their land, the chief of all their strength.
105:37 そして金銀を携えてイスラエルを出て行かせられた。その部族のうちに、ひとりの倒れる者もなかった。
105:37 He brought them forth also with silver and gold: and there was not one feeble person among their tribes.
105:38 エジプトは彼らの去るのを喜んだ。彼らに対する恐れが彼らに臨んだからである。
105:38 Egypt was glad when they departed: for the fear of them fell upon them.
105:39 主は雲をひろげておおいとし、夜は火をもって照された。
105:39 He spread a cloud for a covering; and fire to give light in the night.
105:40 また彼らの求めによって、うずらを飛びきたらせ、天から、かてを豊かに彼らに与えられた。
105:40 The people asked, and he brought quails, and satisfied them with the bread of heaven.
105:41 主が岩を開かれると、水がほとばしり出て、かわいた地に川のように流れた。
105:41 He opened the rock, and the waters gushed out; they ran in the dry places like a river.
105:42 これは主がその聖なる約束と、そのしもべアブラハムを覚えられたからである。
105:42 For he remembered his holy promise, and Abraham his servant.
105:43 こうして主はその民を導いて喜びつつ出て行かせ、その選ばれた民を導いて歌いつつ出て行かせられた。
105:43 And he brought forth his people with joy, and his chosen with gladness:
105:44 主はもろもろの国びとの地を彼らに与えられたので、彼らはもろもろの民の勤労の実を自分のものとした。
105:44 And gave them the lands of the heathen: and they inherited the labour of the people;
105:45 これは彼らが主の定めを守り、そのおきてを行うためである。主をほめたたえよ。
105:45 That they might observe his statutes, and keep his laws. Praise all of you the LORD.
106:1 主をほめたたえよ。主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない。
106:1 Praise all of you the LORD. O give thanks unto the LORD; for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
106:2 だれが主の大能のみわざを語り、その誉をことごとく言いあらわすことができようか。
106:2 Who can utter the mighty acts of the LORD? who can show forth all his praise?
106:3 公正を守る人々、常に正義を行う人はさいわいである。
106:3 Blessed are they that keep judgment, and he that does righteousness at all times.
106:4 主よ、あなたがその民を恵まれるとき、わたしを覚えてください。あなたが彼らを救われるとき、わたしを助けてください。
106:4 Remember me, O LORD, with the favour that you bear unto your people: O visit me with your salvation;
106:5 そうすれば、わたしはあなたの選ばれた者の繁栄を見、あなたの国民の喜びをよろこび、あなたの嗣業と共に誇ることができるでしょう。
106:5 That I may see the good of your chosen, that I may rejoice in the gladness of your nation, that I may glory with yours inheritance.
106:6 われらは先祖たちと同じく罪を犯した。われらは不義をなし、悪しきことを行った。
106:6 We have sinned with our fathers, we have committed iniquity, we have done wickedly.
106:7 われらの先祖たちはエジプトにいたとき、あなたのくすしきみわざに心を留めず、あなたのいつくしみの豊かなのを思わず、紅海で、いと高き神にそむいた。
106:7 Our fathers understood not your wonders in Egypt; they remembered not the multitude of your mercies; but provoked him at the sea, even at the Red sea.
106:8 けれども主はその大能を知らせようと、み名のために彼らを救われた。
106:8 Nevertheless he saved them for his name's sake, that he might make his mighty power to be known.
106:9 主は紅海をしかって、それをかわかし、彼らを導いて荒野を行くように、淵を通らせられた。
106:9 He rebuked the Red sea also, and it was dried up: so he led them through the depths, as through the wilderness.
106:10 こうして主は彼らをあだの手から救い、敵の力からあがなわれた。
106:10 And he saved them from the hand of him that hated them, and redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
106:11 水が彼らのあだをおおったので、そのうち、ひとりも生き残った者はなかった。
106:11 And the waters covered their enemies: there was not one of them left.
106:12 このとき彼らはそのみ言葉を信じ、その誉を歌った。
106:12 Then believed they his words; they sang his praise.
106:13 しかし彼らはまもなくそのみわざを忘れ、その勧めを待たず、
106:13 They soon forgotten about his works; they waited not for his counsel:
106:14 野でわがままな欲望を起し、荒野で神を試みた。
106:14 But lusted exceedingly in the wilderness, and tempted God in the desert.
106:15 主は彼らにその求めるものを与えられたが、彼らのうちに病気を送って、やせ衰えさせられた。
106:15 And he gave them their request; but sent leanness into their soul.
106:16 人々が宿営のうちでモーセをねたみ、主の聖者アロンをねたんだとき、
106:16 They envied Moses also in the camp, and Aaron the saint of the LORD.
106:17 地が開けてダタンを飲み、アビラムの仲間をおおった。
106:17 The earth opened and swallowed up Dathan and covered the company of Abiram.
106:18 火はまたこの仲間のうちに燃え起り、炎は悪しき者を焼きつくした。
106:18 And a fire was kindled in their company; the flame burned up the wicked.
106:19 彼らはホレブで子牛を造り、鋳物の像を拝んだ。
106:19 They made a calf in Horeb, and worshipped the molten image.
106:20 彼らは神の栄光を／草を食う牛の像と取り替えた。
106:20 Thus they changed their glory into the embodiment of an ox that eats grass.
106:21 彼らは、エジプトで大いなる事をなし、ハムの地でくすしきみわざをなし、紅海のほとりで恐るべき事をなされた／救主なる神を忘れた。
106:21 They forgotten about God their saviour, which had done great things in Egypt;
106:22 （21節に合節）
106:22 Wondrous works in the land of Ham, and terrible things by the Red sea.
106:23 それゆえ、主は彼らを滅ぼそうと言われた。しかし主のお選びになったモーセは／破れ口で主のみ前に立ち、み怒りを引きかえして、滅びを免れさせた。
106:23 Therefore he said that he would destroy them, had not Moses his chosen stood before him in the breach, to turn away his wrath, lest he should destroy them.
106:24 彼らは麗しい地を侮り、主の約束を信ぜず、
106:24 Yea, they despised the pleasant land, they believed not his word:
106:25 またその天幕でつぶやき、主のみ声に聞き従わなかった。
106:25 But murmured in their tents, and hearkened not unto the voice of the LORD.
106:26 それゆえ、主はみ手をあげて、彼らに誓い、彼らを荒野で倒れさせ、
106:26 Therefore he lifted up his hand against them, to overthrow them in the wilderness:
106:27 またその子孫を、もろもろの国民のうちに追い散らし、もろもろの地に彼らをまき散らそうとされた。
106:27 To overthrow their seed also among the nations, and to scatter them in the lands.
106:28 また彼らはペオルのバアルを慕って、死んだ者にささげた、いけにえを食べた。
106:28 They joined themselves also unto Baalpeor, and ate the sacrifices of the dead.
106:29 彼らはそのおこないをもって主を怒らせたので、彼らのうちに疫病が起った。
106:29 Thus they provoked him to anger with their inventions: and the plague brake in upon them.
106:30 その時ピネハスが立って仲裁にはいったので、疫病はやんだ。
106:30 Then stood up Phinehas, and executed judgment: and so the plague was stayed.
106:31 これによってピネハスはよろず代まで、とこしえに義とされた。
106:31 And that was counted unto him for righteousness unto all generations for evermore.
106:32 彼らはまたメリバの水のほとりで主を怒らせたので、モーセは彼らのために災にあった。
106:32 They angered him also at the waters of strife, so that it went ill with Moses for their sakes:
106:33 これは彼らが神の霊にそむいたとき、彼がそのくちびるで軽率なことを言ったからである。
106:33 Because they provoked his spirit, so that he spoke without due consideration with his lips.
106:34 彼らは主が命じられたもろもろの民を滅ぼさず、
106:34 They did not destroy the nations, concerning whom the LORD commanded them:
106:35 かえってもろもろの国民とまじって／そのわざにならい、
106:35 But were mingled among the heathen, and learned their works.
106:36 自分たちのわなとなった偶像に仕えた。
106:36 And they served their idols: which were a snare unto them.
106:37 彼らはそのむすこ、娘たちを悪霊にささげ、
106:37 Yea, they sacrificed their sons and their daughters unto devils,
106:38 罪のない血、すなわちカナンの偶像にささげた／そのむすこ、娘たちの血を流した。こうして国は血で汚された。
106:38 And shed innocent blood, even the blood of their sons and of their daughters, whom they sacrificed unto the idols of Canaan: and the land was polluted with blood.
106:39 このように彼らはそのわざによっておのれを汚し、そのおこないによって姦淫をなした。
106:39 Thus were they defiled with their own works, and went a whoring with their own inventions.
106:40 それゆえ、主の怒りがその民にむかって燃え、その嗣業を憎んで、
106:40 Therefore was the wrath of the LORD kindled against his people, insomuch that he abhorred his own inheritance.
106:41 彼らをもろもろの国民の手にわたされた。彼らはおのれを憎む者に治められ、
106:41 And he gave them into the hand of the heathen; and they that hated them ruled over them.
106:42 その敵にしえたげられ、その力の下に征服された。
106:42 Their enemies also oppressed them, and they were brought into subjection under their hand.
106:43 主はしばしば彼らを助けられたが、彼らははかりごとを設けてそむき、その不義によって低くされた。
106:43 Many times did he deliver them; but they provoked him with their counsel, and were brought low for their iniquity.
106:44 それにもかかわらず、主は彼らの叫びを聞かれたとき、その悩みをかえりみ、
106:44 Nevertheless he regarded their affliction, when he heard their cry:
106:45 その契約を彼らのために思い出し、そのいつくしみの豊かなるにより、みこころを変えられ、
106:45 And he remembered for them his covenant, and repented according to the multitude of his mercies.
106:46 彼らをとりこにした者どもによって、あわれまれるようにされた。
106:46 He made them also to be pitied of all those that carried them captives.
106:47 われらの神、主よ、われらを救って、もろもろの国民のなかから集めてください。われらはあなたの聖なるみ名に感謝し、あなたの誉を誇るでしょう。
106:47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from among the heathen, to give thanks unto your holy name, and to triumph in your praise.
106:48 イスラエルの神、主は／とこしえからとこしえまでほむべきかな。すべての民は「アァメン」ととなえよ。主をほめたたえよ。
106:48 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting to everlasting: and let all the people say, Amen. Praise all of you the LORD.
107:1 「主に感謝せよ、主は恵みふかく、そのいつくしみはとこしえに絶えることがない」と、
107:1 O give thanks unto the LORD, for he is good: for his mercy endures for ever.
107:2 主にあがなわれた者は言え。主は彼らを悩みからあがない、
107:2 Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom he has redeemed from the hand of the enemy;
107:3 もろもろの国から、東、西、北、南から彼らを集められた。
107:3 And gathered them out of the lands, from the east, and from the west, from the north, and from the south.
107:4 彼らは人なき荒野にさまよい、住むべき町にいたる道を見いださなかった。
107:4 They wandered in the wilderness in a solitary way; they found no city to dwell in.
107:5 彼らは飢え、またかわき、その魂は彼らのうちに衰えた。
107:5 Hungry and thirsty, their soul fainted in them.
107:6 彼らはその悩みのうちに主に呼ばわったので、主は彼らをその悩みから助け出し、
107:6 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he delivered them out of their distresses.
107:7 住むべき町に行き着くまで、まっすぐな道に導かれた。
107:7 And he led them forth by the right way, that they might go to a city of habitation.
107:8 どうか、彼らが主のいつくしみと、人の子らになされたくすしきみわざとのために、主に感謝するように。
107:8 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
107:9 主はかわいた魂を満ち足らせ、飢えた魂を良き物で満たされるからである。
107:9 For he satisfies the longing soul, and fills the hungry soul with goodness.
107:10 暗黒と深いやみの中にいる者、苦しみと、くろがねに縛られた者、
107:10 Such as sit in darkness and in the shadow of death, being bound in affliction and iron;
107:11 彼らは神の言葉にそむき、いと高き者の勧めを軽んじたので、
107:11 Because they rebelled against the words of God, and contemned the counsel of the most High:
107:12 主は重い労働をもって彼らの心を低くされた。彼らはつまずき倒れても、助ける者がなかった。
107:12 Therefore he brought down their heart with labour; they fell down, and there was none to help.
107:13 彼らはその悩みのうちに主に呼ばわったので、主は彼らをその悩みから救い、
107:13 Then they cried unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saved them out of their distresses.
107:14 暗黒と深いやみから彼らを導き出して、そのかせをこわされた。
107:14 He brought them out of darkness and the shadow of death, and brake their bands in two.
107:15 どうか、彼らが主のいつくしみと、人の子らになされたくすしきみわざとのために、主に感謝するように。
107:15 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
107:16 主は青銅のとびらをこわし、鉄の貫の木を断ち切られたからである。
107:16 For he has broken the gates of brass, and cut the bars of iron in two.
107:17 ある者はその罪に汚れた行いによって病み、その不義のゆえに悩んだ。
107:17 Fools because of their transgression, and because of their iniquities, are afflicted.
107:18 彼らはすべての食物をきらって、死の門に近づいた。
107:18 Their soul detests all manner of food; and they draw near unto the gates of death.
107:19 彼らはその悩みのうちに主に呼ばわったので、主は彼らをその悩みから救い、
107:19 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he saves them out of their distresses.
107:20 そのみ言葉をつかわして、彼らをいやし、彼らを滅びから助け出された。
107:20 He sent his word, and healed them, and delivered them from their destructions.
107:21 どうか、彼らが主のいつくしみと、人の子らになされたくすしきみわざとのために、主に感謝するように。
107:21 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
107:22 彼らが感謝のいけにえをささげ、喜びの歌をもって、そのみわざを言いあらわすように。
107:22 And let them sacrifice the sacrifices of thanksgiving, and declare his works with rejoicing.
107:23 舟で海にくだり、大海で商売をする者は、
107:23 They that go down to the sea in ships, that do business in great waters;
107:24 主のみわざを見、また深い所でそのくすしきみわざを見た。
107:24 These see the works of the LORD, and his wonders in the deep.
107:25 主が命じられると暴風が起って、海の波をあげた。
107:25 For he commands, and raises the stormy wind, which lifts up the waves thereof.
107:26 彼らは天にのぼり、淵にくだり、悩みによってその勇気は溶け去り、
107:26 They mount up to the heaven, they go down again to the depths: their soul is melted because of trouble.
107:27 酔った人のようによろめき、よろめいて途方にくれる。
107:27 They reel back and forth, and stagger like a drunken man, and are at their know's end.
107:28 彼らはその悩みのうちに主に呼ばわったので、主は彼らをその悩みから救い出された。
107:28 Then they cry unto the LORD in their trouble, and he brings them out of their distresses.
107:29 主があらしを静められると、海の波は穏やかになった。
107:29 He makes the storm a calm, so that the waves thereof are still.
107:30 こうして彼らは波の静まったのを喜び、主は彼らをその望む港へ導かれた。
107:30 Then are they glad because they be quiet; so he brings them unto their desired haven.
107:31 どうか、彼らが主のいつくしみと、人の子らになされたくすしきみわざとのために、主に感謝するように。
107:31 Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!
107:32 彼らが民の集会で主をあがめ、長老の会合で主をほめたたえるように。
107:32 Let them exalt him also in the congregation of the people, and praise him in the assembly of the elders.
107:33 主は川を野に変らせ、泉をかわいた地に変らせ、
107:33 He turns rivers into a wilderness, and the fountains into dry ground;
107:34 肥えた地をそれに住む者の悪のゆえに塩地に変らせられる。
107:34 A fruitful land into barrenness, for the wickedness of them that dwell therein.
107:35 主は野を池に変らせ、かわいた地を泉に変らせ、
107:35 He turns the wilderness into a standing water, and dry ground into fountains.
107:36 飢えた者をそこに住まわせられる。こうして彼らはその住むべき町を建て、
107:36 And there he makes the hungry to dwell, that they may prepare a city for habitation;
107:37 畑に種をまき、ぶどう畑を設けて／多くの収穫を得た。
107:37 And sow the fields, and plant vineyards, which may yield fruits of increase.
107:38 主が彼らを祝福されたので彼らは大いにふえ、その家畜の減るのをゆるされなかった。
107:38 He blesses them also, so that they are multiplied greatly; and suffers not their cattle to decrease.
107:39 彼らがしえたげと、悩みと、悲しみとによって／減り、かつ卑しめられたとき、
107:39 Again, they are diminished and brought low through oppression, affliction, and sorrow.
107:40 主はもろもろの君に侮りをそそぎ、道なき荒れ地にさまよわせられた。
107:40 He pours contempt upon princes, and causes them to wander in the wilderness, where there is no way.
107:41 しかし主は貧しい者を悩みのうちからあげて、その家族を羊の群れのようにされた。
107:41 Yet sets he the poor on high from affliction, and makes him families like a flock.
107:42 正しい者はこれを見て喜び、もろもろの不義はその口を閉じた。
107:42 The righteous shall see it, and rejoice: and all iniquity shall stop her mouth.
107:43 すべて賢い者はこれらの事に心をよせ、主のいつくしみをさとるようにせよ。
107:43 Whoso is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving kindness of the LORD.
108:1 神よ、わが心は定まりました。わが心は定まりました。わたしは歌い、かつほめたたえます。わが魂よ、さめよ。
108:1 O god, my heart is fixed; I will sing and give praise, even with my glory.
108:2 立琴よ、琴よ、さめよ。わたしはしののめを呼びさまします。
108:2 Awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.
108:3 主よ、わたしはもろもろの民の中であなたに感謝し、もろもろの国の中であなたをほめたたえます。
108:3 I will praise you, O LORD, among the people: and I will sing praises unto you among the nations.
108:4 あなたのいつくしみは大きく、天にまでおよび／あなたのまことは雲にまで及ぶ。
108:4 For your mercy is great above the heavens: and your truth reachs unto the clouds.
108:5 神よ、みずからを天よりも高くし、みさかえを全地の上にあげてください。
108:5 Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens: and your glory above all the earth;
108:6 あなたの愛される者が助けを得るために、右のみ手をもって救をほどこし、わたしに答えてください。
108:6 That your beloved may be delivered: save with your right hand, and answer me.
108:7 神はその聖所で言われた、「わたしは大いなる喜びをもってシケムを分かち、スコテの谷を分かち与えよう。
108:7 God has spoken in his holiness; I will rejoice, I will divide Shechem, and mete out the valley of Succoth.
108:8 ギレアデはわたしのもの、マナセもわたしのものである。エフライムはわたしのかぶと、ユダはわたしのつえである。
108:8 Gilead is mine; Manasseh is mine; Ephraim also is the strength of mine head; Judah is my lawgiver;
108:9 モアブはわたしの足だらい、エドムにはわたしのくつを投げる。ペリシテについては、かちどきをあげる」。
108:9 Moab is my pot for washing; over Edom will I cast out my shoe; over Philistia will I triumph.
108:10 だれがわたしを堅固な町に至らせるであろうか。だれがわたしをエドムに導くであろうか。
108:10 Who will bring me into the strong city? who will lead me into Edom?
108:11 神よ、あなたはわれらを捨てられたではありませんか。神よ、あなたはわれらの軍勢と共に出て行かれません。
108:11 Will not you, O God, who have cast us off? and will not you, O God, go forth with our hosts?
108:12 われらに助けを与えて、あだにむかわせてください。人の助けはむなしいからです。
108:12 Give us help from trouble: for vain is the help of man.
108:13 われらは神によって勇ましく働きます。われらのあだを踏みにじる者は神だからです。
108:13 Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our enemies.
