47:1 処女なるバビロンの娘よ、下って、ちりの中にすわれ。カルデヤびとの娘よ、王座のない地にすわれ。あなたはもはや、やさしく、たおやかな女と／となえられることはない。
47:1 Come down, and sit in the dust, O virgin daughter of Babylon, sit on the ground: there is no throne, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called tender and delicate.
47:2 石うすをとって粉をひけ、顔おおいを取り去り、うちぎを脱ぎ、すねをあらわして川を渡れ。
47:2 Take the millstones, and grind meal: uncover your locks, make bare the leg, uncover the thigh, pass over the rivers.
47:3 あなたの裸はあらわれ、あなたの恥は見られる。わたしはあだを報いて、何人をも助けない。
47:3 Your nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, your shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet you as a man.
47:4 われわれをあがなう者は／その名を万軍の主といい、イスラエルの聖者である。
47:4 As for our redeemer, the LORD of hosts is his name, the Holy One of Israel.
47:5 カルデヤびとの娘よ、黙してすわれ、また暗い所にはいれ。あなたはもはや、もろもろの国の女王と／となえられることはない。
47:5 Sit you silent, and get you into darkness, O daughter of the Chaldeans: for you shall no more be called, The lady of kingdoms.
47:6 わたしはわが民を憤り、わが嗣業を汚して、これをあなたの手に渡した。あなたはこれに、あわれみを施さず、年老いた者の上に、はなはだ重いくびきを負わせた。
47:6 I was angry with my people, I have polluted mine inheritance, and given them into yours hand: you did show them no mercy; upon the ancient have you very heavily laid your yoke.
47:7 あなたは言った、「わたしは、とこしえに女王となる」と。そして、あなたはこれらの事を心にとめず、またその終りを思わなかった。
47:7 And you said, I shall be a lady for ever: so that you did not lay these things to your heart, neither did remember the latter end of it.
47:8 楽しみにふけり、安らかにおり、心のうちに「ただわたしだけで、わたしのほかにだれもなく、わたしは寡婦となることはない、また子を失うことはない」と言う者よ、今この事を聞け。
47:8 Therefore hear now this, you that are given to pleasures, that dwell carelessly, that says in yours heart, I am, and none else beside me; I shall not sit as a widow, neither shall I know the loss of children:
47:9 これらの二つの事は一日のうちに、またたくまにあなたに臨む。すなわち子を失い、寡婦となる事は／たといあなたが多くの魔術を行い、魔法の大いなる力をもってしても／ことごとくあなたに臨む。
47:9 But these two things shall come to you in a moment in one day, the loss of children, and widowhood: they shall come upon you in their perfection for the multitude of your sorceries, and for the great abundance of yours enchantments.
47:10 あなたは自分の悪に寄り頼んで言う、「わたしを見る者はない」と。あなたの知恵と、あなたの知識とは／あなたを惑わした。あなたは心のうちに言った、「ただわたしだけで、わたしのほかにだれもない」と。
47:10 For you have trusted in your wickedness: you have said, None sees me. Your wisdom and your knowledge, it has perverted you; and you have said in yours heart, I am, and none else beside me.
47:11 しかし、わざわいが、あなたに臨む、あなたは、それをあがなうことができない。なやみが、あなたを襲う、あなたは、それをつぐなうことができない。滅びが、にわかにあなたに臨む、あなたは、それについて何も知らない。
47:11 Therefore shall evil come upon you; you shall not know from whence it rises: and mischief shall fall upon you; you shall not be able to put it off: and desolation shall come upon you suddenly, which you shall not know.

47:12 Stand now with yours enchantments, and with the multitude of your sorceries, wherein you have laboured from your youth; if so be you shall be able to profit, if so be you may prevail.
47:13 あなたは多くの計りごとによってうみ疲れた。かの天を分かつ者、星を見る者、新月によって、あなたに臨む事を告げる者を／立ちあがらせて、あなたを救わせてみよ。
47:13 You are wearied in the multitude of your counsels. Let now the astrologers, the stargazers, the monthly sign tellers, stand up, and save you from these things that shall come upon you.
47:14 見よ、彼らはわらのようになって、火に焼き滅ぼされ、自分の身を炎の勢いから、救い出すことができない。その火は身を暖める炭火ではない、またその前にすわるべき火でもない。
47:14 Behold, they shall be as stubble; the fire shall burn them; they shall not deliver themselves from the power of the flame: there shall not be a coal to warm at, nor fire to sit before it.
47:15 あなたが勤めて行ったものと、あなたの若い時からあなたと売り買いした者とは、ついにこのようになる。彼らはめいめい自分の方向にさすらいゆき、ひとりもあなたを救う者はない。
47:15 Thus shall they be unto you with whom you have laboured, even your merchants, from your youth: they shall wander every one to his quarter; none shall save you.
48:1 ヤコブの家よ、これを聞け。あなたがたはイスラエルの名をもってとなえられ、ユダの腰から出、主の名によって誓い、イスラエルの神をとなえるけれども、真実をもってせず、正義をもってしない。
48:1 Hear all of you this, O house of Jacob, which are called by the name of Israel, and are come forth out of the waters of Judah, which swear by the name of the LORD, and make mention of the God of Israel, but not in truth, nor in righteousness.
48:2 彼らはみずから聖なる都のものととなえ、イスラエルの神に寄り頼む。その名は万軍の主という。
48:2 For they call themselves of the holy city, and stay themselves upon the God of Israel; The LORD of hosts is his name.
48:3 「わたしはさきに成った事を、いにしえから告げた。わたしは口から出して彼らに知らせた。わたしは、にわかにこの事を行い、そして成った。
48:3 I have declared the former things from the beginning; and they went forth out of my mouth, and I showed them; I did them suddenly, and they came to pass.
48:4 わたしはあなたが、かたくなで、その首は鉄の筋、その額は青銅であることを知るゆえに、
48:4 Because I knew that you are obstinate, and your neck is an iron sinew, and your brow brass;
48:5 いにしえから、かの事をあなたに告げ、その成らないさきに、これをあなたに聞かせた。そうでなければ、あなたは言うだろう、『わが偶像がこれをしたのだ、わが刻んだ像と、鋳た像がこれを命じたのだ』と。
48:5 I have even from the beginning declared it to you; before it came to pass I showed it you: lest you should say, Mine idol has done them, and my graven image, and my molten image, has commanded them.
48:6 あなたはすでに聞いた、すべてこれが成ったことを見よ。あなたがたはこれを宣べ伝えないのか。わたしは今から新しい事、あなたがまだ知らない隠れた事を／あなたに聞かせよう。
48:6 You have heard, see all this; and will not all of you declare it? I have showed you new things from this time, even hidden things, and you did not know them.
48:7 これらの事はいま創造されたので、いにしえからあったのではない。この日以前には、あなたはこれを聞かなかった。そうでなければ、あなたは言うだろう、『見よ、わたしはこれを知っていた』と。
48:7 They are created now, and not from the beginning; even before the day when you heard them not; lest you should say, Behold, I knew them.
48:8 あなたはこれを聞くこともなく、知ることもなく、あなたの耳は、いにしえから開かれなかった。わたしはあなたが全く不信実で、生れながら反逆者ととなえられたことを／知っていたからである。
48:8 Yea, you heard not; yea, you knew not; yea, from that time that yours ear was not opened: for I knew that you would deal very treacherously, and were called a transgressor from the womb.
48:9 わが名のために、わたしは怒りをおそくする。わが誉のために、わたしはこれをおさえて、あなたを断ち滅ぼすことをしない。
48:9 For my name's sake will I defer mine anger, and for my praise will I refrain for you, that I cut you not off.
48:10 見よ、わたしはあなたを練った。しかし銀のようにではなくて、苦しみの炉をもってあなたを試みた。
48:10 Behold, I have refined you, but not with silver; I have chosen you in the furnace of affliction.
48:11 わたしは自分のために、自分のためにこれを行う。どうしてわが名を汚させることができよう。わたしはわが栄光を／ほかの者に与えることをしない。
48:11 For mine own sake, even for mine own sake, will I do it: for how should my name be polluted? and I will not give my glory unto another.
48:12 ヤコブよ、わたしの召したイスラエルよ、わたしに聞け。わたしはそれだ、わたしは初めであり、わたしはまた終りである。
48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I am he; I am the first, I also am the last.
48:13 わが手は地の基をすえ、わが右の手は天をのべた。わたしが呼ぶと、彼らはもろともに立つ。
48:13 Mine hand also has laid the foundation of the earth, and my right hand has spanned the heavens: when I call unto them, they stand up together.
48:14 あなたがたは皆集まって聞け。彼らのうち、だれがこれらの事を告げたか。主の愛せられる彼は／主のみこころをバビロンに行い、その腕はカルデヤびとの上に臨む。
48:14 All you, assemble yourselves, and hear; which among them has declared these things? The LORD has loved him: he will do his pleasure on Babylon, and his arm shall be on the Chaldeans.
48:15 語ったのは、ただわたしであって、わたしは彼を召した。わたしは彼をこさせた。彼はその道に栄える。
48:15 I, even I, have spoken; yea, I have called him: I have brought him, and he shall make his way prosperous.
48:16 あなたがたはわたしに近寄って、これを聞け。わたしは初めから、ひそかに語らなかった。それが成った時から、わたしはそこにいたのだ」。いま主なる神は、わたしとその霊とをつかわされた。
48:16 Come all of you near unto me, hear all of you this; I have not spoken in secret from the beginning; from the time that it was, there am I: and now the Lord GOD, and his Spirit, has sent me.
48:17 あなたのあがない主、イスラエルの聖者、主はこう言われる、「わたしはあなたの神、主である。わたしは、あなたの利益のために、あなたを教え、あなたを導いて、その行くべき道に行かせる。
48:17 Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel; I am the LORD your God which teaches you to profit, which leads you by the way that you should go.
48:18 どうか、あなたはわたしの戒めに聞き従うように。そうすれば、あなたの平安は川のように、あなたの義は海の波のようになり、
48:18 O that you had hearkened to my commandments! then had your peace been as a river, and your righteousness as the waves of the sea:
48:19 あなたのすえは砂のように、あなたの子孫は砂粒のようになって、その名はわが前から断たれることなく、滅ぼされることはない」。
48:19 Your seed also had been as the sand, and the offspring of your bowels like the gravel thereof; his name should not have been cut off nor destroyed from before me.
48:20 あなたがたはバビロンから出、カルデヤからのがれよ。喜びの声をもってこれをのべ聞かせ、地の果にまで語り伝え、「主はそのしもべヤコブをあがなわれた」と言え。
48:20 Go all of you out of Babylon, flee all of you from the Chaldeans, with a voice of singing declare all of you, tell this, utter it even to the end of the earth; say all of you, The LORD has redeemed his servant Jacob.
48:21 主が彼らを導いて、さばくを通らせられたとき、彼らは、かわいたことがなかった。主は彼らのために岩から水を流れさせ、また岩を裂かれると、水がほとばしり出た。
48:21 And they thirsted not when he led them through the deserts: he caused the waters to flow out of the rock for them: he clave the rock also, and the waters gushed out.
48:22 主は言われた、「悪い者には平安がない」と。
48:22 There is no peace, says the LORD, unto the wicked.
49:1 海沿いの国々よ、わたしに聞け。遠いところのもろもろの民よ、耳を傾けよ。主はわたしを生れ出た時から召し、母の胎を出た時からわが名を語り告げられた。
49:1 Listen, O isles, unto me; and hearken, all of you people, from far; The LORD has called me from the womb; from the bowels of my mother has he made mention of my name.
49:2 主はわが口を鋭利なつるぎとなし、わたしをみ手の陰にかくし、とぎすました矢となして、箙にわたしを隠された。
49:2 And he has made my mouth like a sharp sword; in the shadow of his hand has he hid me, and made me a polished shaft; in his quiver has he hid me;
49:3 また、わたしに言われた、「あなたはわがしもべ、わが栄光をあらわすべきイスラエルである」と。
49:3 And said unto me, You are my servant, O Israel, in whom I will be glorified.
49:4 しかし、わたしは言った、「わたしはいたずらに働き、益なく、むなしく力を費した。しかもなお、まことにわが正しきは主と共にあり、わが報いはわが神と共にある」と。
49:4 Then I said, I have laboured in vain, I have spent my strength for nothing, and in vain: yet surely my judgment is with the LORD, and my work with my God.
49:5 ヤコブをおのれに帰らせ、イスラエルをおのれのもとに集めるために、わたしを腹の中からつくって／そのしもべとされた主は言われる。（わたしは主の前に尊ばれ、わが神はわが力となられた）
49:5 And now, says the LORD that formed me from the womb to be his servant, to bring Jacob again to him, Though Israel be not gathered, yet shall I be glorious in the eyes of the LORD, and my God shall be my strength.
49:6 主は言われる、「あなたがわがしもべとなって、ヤコブのもろもろの部族をおこし、イスラエルのうちの残った者を帰らせることは、いとも軽い事である。わたしはあなたを、もろもろの国びとの光となして、わが救を地の果にまでいたらせよう」と。
49:6 And he said, It is a light thing that you should be my servant to raise up the tribes of Jacob, and to restore the preserved of Israel: I will also give you for a light to the Gentiles, that you may be my salvation unto the end of the earth.
49:7 イスラエルのあがない主、イスラエルの聖者なる主は、人に侮られる者、民に忌みきらわれる者、つかさたちのしもべにむかってこう言われる、「もろもろの王は見て、立ちあがり、もろもろの君は立って、拝する。これは真実なる主、イスラエルの聖者が、あなたを選ばれたゆえである」。
49:7 Thus says the LORD, the Redeemer of Israel, and his Holy One, to him whom man despises, to him whom the nation detests, to a servant of rulers, Kings shall see and arise, princes also shall worship, because of the LORD that is faithful, and the Holy One of Israel, and he shall choose you.
49:8 主はこう言われる、「わたしは恵みの時に、あなたに答え、救の日にあなたを助けた。わたしはあなたを守り、あなたを与えて民の契約とし、国を興し、荒れすたれた地を嗣業として継がせる。
49:8 Thus says the LORD, In an acceptable time have I heard you, and in a day of salvation have I helped you: and I will preserve you, and give you for a covenant of the people, to establish the earth, to cause to inherit the desolate heritages;
49:9 わたしは捕えられた人に『出よ』と言い、暗きにおる者に『あらわれよ』と言う。彼らは道すがら食べることができ、すべての裸の山にも牧草を得る。
49:9 That you may say to the prisoners, Go forth; to them that are in darkness, Show yourselves. They shall feed in the ways, and their pastures shall be in all high places.
49:10 彼らは飢えることがなく、かわくこともない。また熱い風も、太陽も彼らを撃つことはない。彼らをあわれむ者が彼らを導き、泉のほとりに彼らを導かれるからだ。
49:10 They shall not hunger nor thirst; neither shall the heat nor sun strike them: for he that has mercy on them shall lead them, even by the springs of water shall he guide them.
49:11 わたしは、わがもろもろの山を道とし、わが大路を高くする。
49:11 And I will make all my mountains a way, and my highways shall be exalted.
49:12 見よ、人々は遠くから来る。見よ、人々は北から西から、またスエネの地から来る」。
49:12 Behold, these shall come from far: and, lo, these from the north and from the west; and these from the land of Sinim.
49:13 天よ、歌え、地よ、喜べ。もろもろの山よ、声を放って歌え。主はその民を慰め、その苦しむ者をあわれまれるからだ。
49:13 Sing, O heavens; and be joyful, O earth; and break forth into singing, O mountains: for the LORD has comforted his people, and will have mercy upon his afflicted.
49:14 しかしシオンは言った、「主はわたしを捨て、主はわたしを忘れられた」と。
49:14 But Zion said, The LORD has forsaken me, and my Lord has forgotten me.
49:15 「女がその乳のみ子を忘れて、その腹の子を、あわれまないようなことがあろうか。たとい彼らが忘れるようなことがあっても、わたしは、あなたを忘れることはない。
49:15 Can a woman forget her nursing infant, that she should not have compassion on the son of her womb? yea, they may forget, yet will I not forget you.
49:16 見よ、わたしは、たなごころにあなたを彫り刻んだ。あなたの石がきは常にわが前にある。
49:16 Behold, I have graven you upon the palms of my hands; your walls are continually before me.
49:17 あなたを建てる者は、あなたをこわす者を追い越し、あなたを荒した者は、あなたから出て行く。
49:17 Your children shall make haste; your destroyers and they that made you waste shall go out of you.
49:18 あなたの目をあげて見まわせ。彼らは皆集まって、あなたのもとに来る。主は言われる、わたしは生きている、あなたは彼らを皆、飾りとして身につけ、花嫁の帯のようにこれを結ぶ。
49:18 Lift up yours eyes round about, and behold: all these gather themselves together, and come to you. As I live, says the LORD, you shall surely clothe you with them all, as with an ornament, and bind them on you, as a bride does.
49:19 あなたの荒れ、かつすたれた所、こわされた地は、住む人の多いために狭くなり、あなたを、のみつくした者は、はるかに離れ去る。
49:19 For your waste and your desolate places, and the land of your destruction, shall even now be too narrow by reason of the inhabitants, and they that swallowed you up shall be far away.
49:20 あなたが子を失った後に生れた子らは、なおあなたの耳に言う、『この所はわたしには狭すぎる、わたしのために住むべき所を得させよ』と。
49:20 The children which you shall have, after you have lost the other, shall say again in yours ears, The place is too strait for me: give place to me that I may dwell.
49:21 その時あなたは心のうちに言う、『だれがわたしのためにこれらの者を産んだのか。わたしは子を失って、子をもたない。わたしは捕われ、かつ追いやられた。だれがこれらの者を育てたのか。見よ、わたしはひとり残された。これらの者はどこから来たのか』と」。
49:21 Then shall you say in yours heart, Who has begotten me these, seeing I have lost my children, and am desolate, a captive, and removing back and forth? and who has brought up these? Behold, I was left alone; these, where had they been?
49:22 主なる神はこう言われる、「見よ、わたしは手をもろもろの国にむかってあげ、旗をもろもろの民にむかって立てる。彼らはそのふところにあなたの子らを携え、その肩にあなたの娘たちを載せて来る。
49:22 Thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, I will lift up mine hand to the Gentiles, and set up my standard to the people: and they shall bring your sons in their arms, and your daughters shall be carried upon their shoulders.
49:23 もろもろの王は、あなたの養父となり、その王妃たちは、あなたの乳母となり、彼らはその顔を地につけて、あなたにひれ伏し、あなたの足のちりをなめる。こうして、あなたはわたしが主であることを知る。わたしを待ち望む者は恥をこうむることがない」。
49:23 And kings shall be your nursing fathers, and their queens your nursing mothers: they shall bow down to you with their face toward the earth, and lick up the dust of your feet; and you shall know that I am the LORD: for they shall not be ashamed that wait for me.
49:24 勇士が奪った獲物を／どうして取り返すことができようか。暴君がかすめた捕虜を／どうして救い出すことができようか。
49:24 Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captive delivered?
49:25 しかし主はこう言われる、「勇士がかすめた捕虜も取り返され、暴君が奪った獲物も救い出される。わたしはあなたと争う者と争い、あなたの子らを救うからである。
49:25 But thus says the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contends with you, and I will save your children.
49:26 わたしはあなたをしえたげる者にその肉を食わせ、その血を新しい酒のように飲ませて酔わせる。こうして、すべての人はわたしが主であって、あなたの救主、またあなたのあがない主、ヤコブの全能者であることを知るようになる」。
49:26 And I will feed them that oppress you with their own flesh; and they shall be drunken with their own blood, as with sweet wine: and all flesh shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
50:1 主はこう言われる、「わたしがあなたがたの母を去らせたその離縁状は、どこにあるか。わたしはどの債主にあなたがたを売りわたしたか。見よ、あなたがたは、その不義のために売られ、あなたがたの母は、あなたがたのとがのために出されたのだ。
50:1 Thus says the LORD, Where is the bill of your mother's divorcement, whom I have put away? or which of my creditors is it to whom I have sold you? Behold, for your iniquities have all of you sold yourselves, and for your transgressions is your mother put away.
50:2 わたしが来たとき、なぜひとりもいなかったか。わたしが呼んだとき、なぜひとりも答える者がなかったか。わたしの手が短くて、あがなうことができないのか。わたしは救う力を持たないのか。見よ、わたしが、しかると海はかれ、川は荒野となり、その中の魚は水がないために、かわき死んで悪臭を放つ。
50:2 Wherefore, when I came, was there no man? when I called, was there none to answer? Is my hand shortened at all, that it cannot redeem? or have I no power to deliver? behold, at my rebuke I dry up the sea, I make the rivers a wilderness: their fish stinks, because there is no water, and dies for thirst.
50:3 わたしは黒い衣を天に着せ、荒布をもってそのおおいとする」。
50:3 I clothe the heavens with blackness, and I make sackcloth their covering.
50:4 主なる神は教をうけた者の舌をわたしに与えて、疲れた者を言葉をもって助けることを知らせ、また朝ごとにさまし、わたしの耳をさまして、教をうけた者のように聞かせられる。
50:4 The Lord GOD has given me the tongue of the learned, that I should know how to speak a word in season to him that is weary: he wakens morning by morning, he wakens mine ear to hear as the learned.
50:5 主なる神はわたしの耳を開かれた。わたしは、そむくことをせず、退くことをしなかった。
50:5 The Lord GOD has opened mine ear, and I was not rebellious, neither turned away back.
50:6 わたしを打つ者に、わたしの背をまかせ、わたしのひげを抜く者に、わたしのほおをまかせ、恥とつばきとを避けるために、顔をかくさなかった。
50:6 I gave my back to the smiters, and my cheeks to them that plucked off the hair: I hid not my face from shame and spitting.
50:7 しかし主なる神はわたしを助けられる。それゆえ、わたしは恥じることがなかった。それゆえ、わたしは顔を火打石のようにした。わたしは決してはずかしめられないことを知る。
50:7 For the Lord GOD will help me; therefore shall I not be confounded: therefore have I set my face like a flint, and I know that I shall not be ashamed.
50:8 わたしを義とする者が近くおられる。だれがわたしと争うだろうか、われわれは共に立とう。わたしのあだはだれか、わたしの所へ近くこさせよ。
50:8 He is near that justifies me; who will contend with me? let us stand together: who is mine adversary? let him come near to me.
50:9 見よ、主なる神はわたしを助けられる。だれがわたしを罪に定めるだろうか。見よ、彼らは皆衣のようにふるび、しみのために食いつくされる。
50:9 Behold, the Lord GOD will help me; who is he that shall condemn me? lo, they all shall wax old as a garment; the moth shall eat them up.
50:10 あなたがたのうち主を恐れ、そのしもべの声に聞き従い、暗い中を歩いて光を得なくても、なお主の名を頼み、おのれの神にたよる者はだれか。
50:10 Who is among you that fears the LORD, that obeys the voice of his servant, that walks in darkness, and has no light? let him trust in the name of the LORD, and stay upon his God.
50:11 見よ、火を燃やし、たいまつをともす者よ、皆その火の炎の中を歩め、またその燃やした、たいまつの中を歩め。あなたがたは、これをわたしの手から受けて、苦しみのうちに伏し倒れる。
50:11 Behold, all you that kindle a fire, that compass yourselves about with sparks: walk in the light of your fire, and in the sparks that all of you have kindled. This shall all of you have of mine hand; all of you shall lie down in sorrow.
51:1 「義を追い求め、主を尋ね求める者よ、わたしに聞け。あなたがたの切り出された岩と、あなたがたの掘り出された穴とを思いみよ。
51:1 Hearken to me, all of you that follow after righteousness, all of you that seek the LORD: look unto the rock whence all of you are hewn, and to the hole of the pit whence all of you are dug.
51:2 あなたがたの父アブラハムと、あなたがたを産んだサラとを思いみよ。わたしは彼をただひとりであったときに召し、彼を祝福して、その子孫を増し加えた。
51:2 Look unto Abraham your father, and unto Sarah that bare you: for I called him alone, and blessed him, and increased him.
51:3 主はシオンを慰め、またそのすべて荒れた所を慰めて、その荒野をエデンのように、そのさばくを主の園のようにされる。こうして、その中に喜びと楽しみとがあり、感謝と歌の声とがある。
51:3 For the LORD shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of the LORD; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.
51:4 わが民よ、わたしに聞け、わが国びとよ、わたしに耳を傾けよ。律法はわたしから出、わが道はもろもろの民の光となる。
51:4 Hearken unto me, my people; and give ear unto me, O my nation: for a law shall proceed from me, and I will make my judgment to rest for a light of the people.
51:5 わが義はすみやかに近づき、わが救は出て行った。わが腕はもろもろの民を治める。海沿いの国々はわたしを待ち望み、わが腕に寄り頼む。
51:5 My righteousness is near; my salvation is gone forth, and mine arms shall judge the people; the isles shall wait upon me, and on mine arm shall they trust.
51:6 目をあげて天を見、また下なる地を見よ。天は煙のように消え、地は衣のようにふるび、その中に住む者は、ぶよのように死ぬ。しかし、わが救はとこしえにながらえ、わが義はくじけることがない。
51:6 Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.
51:7 義を知る者よ、心のうちにわが律法をたもつ者よ、わたしに聞け。人のそしりを恐れてはならない、彼らのののしりに驚いてはならない。
51:7 Hearken unto me, all of you that know righteousness, the people in whose heart is my law; fear all of you not the reproach of men, neither be all of you afraid of their revilings.
51:8 彼らは衣のように、しみに食われ、羊の毛のように虫に食われるからだ。しかし、わが義はとこしえにながらえ、わが救はよろず代に及ぶ」。
51:8 For the moth shall eat them up like a garment, and the worm shall eat them like wool: but my righteousness shall be for ever, and my salvation from generation to generation.
51:9 主のかいなよ、さめよ、さめよ、力を着よ。さめて、いにしえの日、昔の代にあったようになれ。ラハブを切り殺し、龍を刺し貫いたのは、あなたではなかったか。
51:9 Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. Are you not it that has cut Rahab, and wounded the dragon?
51:10 海をかわかし、大いなる淵の水をかわかし、また海の深き所を、あがなわれた者の過ぎる道とされたのは、あなたではなかったか。
51:10 Are you not it which has dried the sea, the waters of the great deep; that has made the depths of the sea a way for the ransomed to pass over?
51:11 主にあがなわれた者は、歌うたいつつ、シオンに帰ってきて、そのこうべに、とこしえの喜びをいただき、彼らは喜びと楽しみとを得、悲しみと嘆きとは逃げ去る。
51:11 Therefore the redeemed of the LORD shall return, and come with singing unto Zion; and everlasting joy shall be upon their head: they shall obtain gladness and joy; and sorrow and mourning shall flee away.
51:12 「わたしこそあなたを慰める者だ。あなたは何者なれば、死ぬべき人を恐れ、草のようになるべき人の子を恐れるのか。
51:12 I, even I, am he that comforts you: who are you, that you should be afraid of a man that shall die, and of the son of man which shall be made as grass;
51:13 天をのべ、地の基をすえられた／あなたの造り主、主を忘れて、なぜ、しえたげる者が滅ぼそうと備えをするとき、その憤りのゆえに常にひねもす恐れるのか。しえたげる者の憤りはどこにあるか。
51:13 And forget the LORD your maker, that has stretched forth the heavens, and laid the foundations of the earth; and have feared continually every day because of the fury of the oppressor, as if he were ready to destroy? and where is the fury of the oppressor?
51:14 身をかがめている捕われ人は、すみやかに解かれて、死ぬことなく、穴にくだることなく、その食物はつきることがない。
51:14 The captive exile hastens that he may be loosed, and that he should not die in the pit, nor that his bread should fail.
51:15 わたしは海をふるわせ、その波をなりどよめかすあなたの神、主である。その名を万軍の主という。
51:15 But I am the LORD your God, that divided the sea, whose waves roared: The LORD of hosts is his name.
51:16 わたしはわが言葉をあなたの口におき、わが手の陰にあなたを隠した。こうして、わたしは天をのべ、地の基をすえ、シオンにむかって、あなたはわが民であると言う」。
51:16 And I have put my words in your mouth, and I have covered you in the shadow of mine hand, that I may plant the heavens, and lay the foundations of the earth, and say unto Zion, You are my people.
51:17 エルサレムよ、起きよ、起きよ、立て。あなたはさきに主の手から憤りの杯をうけて飲み、よろめかす大杯を、滓までも飲みほした。
51:17 Awake, awake, stand up, O Jerusalem, which have drunk at the hand of the LORD the cup of his fury; you have drunken the dregs of the cup of trembling, and wrung them out.
51:18 その産んだもろもろの子のなかに、自分を導く者なく、その育てたもろもろの子のなかに、自分の手をとる者がない。
51:18 There is none to guide her among all the sons whom she has brought forth; neither is there any that takes her by the hand of all the sons that she has brought up.
51:19 これら二つの事があなたに臨んだ――だれがあなたと共に嘆くだろうか――荒廃と滅亡、ききんとつるぎ。だれがあなたを慰めるだろうか。
51:19 These two things are come unto you; who shall be sorry for you? desolation, and destruction, and the famine, and the sword: by whom shall I comfort you?
51:20 あなたの子らは息絶えだえになり、網にかかった、かもしかのように、すべてのちまたのすみに横たわり、主の憤りと、あなたの神の責めとは、彼らに満ちている。
51:20 Your sons have fainted, they lie at the head of all the streets, as a wild bull in a net: they are full of the fury of the LORD, the rebuke of your God.
51:21 それゆえ、苦しめる者、酒にではなく酔っている者よ、これを聞け。
51:21 Therefore hear now this, you afflicted, and drunken, but not with wine:
51:22 あなたの主、おのが民の訴えを弁護される／あなたの神、主はこう言われる、「見よ、わたしはよろめかす杯を／あなたの手から取り除き、わが憤りの大杯を取り除いた。あなたは再びこれを飲むことはない。
51:22 Thus says your Lord the LORD, and your God that pleads the cause of his people, Behold, I have taken out of yours hand the cup of trembling, even the dregs of the cup of my fury; you shall no more drink it again:
51:23 わたしはこれをあなたを悩ます者の手におく。彼らはさきにあなたにむかって言った、『身をかがめよ、われわれは越えていこう』と。そしてあなたはその背を地のようにし、ちまたのようにして、彼らの越えていくにまかせた」。
51:23 But I will put it into the hand of them that afflict you; which have said to your soul, Bow down, that we may go over: and you have laid your body as the ground, and as the street, to them that went over.
52:1 シオンよ、さめよ、さめよ、力を着よ。聖なる都エルサレムよ、美しい衣を着よ。割礼を受けない者および汚れた者は、もはやあなたのところに、はいることがないからだ。
52:1 Awake, awake; put on your strength, O Zion; put on your beautiful garments, O Jerusalem, the holy city: for henceforth there shall no more come into you the uncircumcised and the unclean.
52:2 捕われたエルサレムよ、あなたの身からちりを振り落せ、起きよ。捕われたシオンの娘よ、あなたの首のなわを解きすてよ。
52:2 Shake yourself from the dust; arise, and sit down, O Jerusalem: loose yourself from the bands of your neck, O captive daughter of Zion.
52:3 主はこう言われる、「あなたがたは、ただで売られた。金を出さずにあがなわれる」。
52:3 For thus says the LORD, All of you have sold yourselves for nothing; and all of you shall be redeemed without money.
52:4 主なる神はこう言われる、「わが民はさきにエジプトへ下って行って、かしこに寄留した。またアッスリヤびとはゆえなく彼らをしえたげた。
52:4 For thus says the Lord GOD, My people went down in old times into Egypt to sojourn there; and the Assyrian oppressed them without cause.
52:5 それゆえ、今わたしはここに何をしようか。わが民はゆえなく捕われた」と主は言われる。主は言われる、「彼らをつかさどる者はわめき、わが名は常にひねもす侮られる。
52:5 Now therefore, what have I here, says the LORD, that my people is taken away for nothing? they that rule over them make them to wail, says the LORD; and my name continually every day is blasphemed.
52:6 それゆえ、わが民はわが名を知るにいたる。その日には彼らはこの言葉を語る者がわたしであることを知る。わたしはここにおる」。
52:6 Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am he that does speak: behold, it is I.
52:7 よきおとずれを伝え、平和を告げ、よきおとずれを伝え、救を告げ、シオンにむかって「あなたの神は王となられた」と／言う者の足は山の上にあって、なんと麗しいことだろう。
52:7 How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brings good tidings, that publishes peace; that brings good tidings of good, that publishes salvation; that says unto Zion, Your God reigns!
52:8 聞けよ、あなたの見張びとは声をあげて、共に喜び歌っている。彼らは目と目と相合わせて、主がシオンに帰られるのを見るからだ。
52:8 Your watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the LORD shall bring again Zion.
52:9 エルサレムの荒れすたれた所よ、声を放って共に歌え。主はその民を慰め、エルサレムをあがなわれたからだ。
52:9 Break forth into joy, sing together, all of you waste places of Jerusalem: for the LORD has comforted his people, he has redeemed Jerusalem.
52:10 主はその聖なるかいなを、もろもろの国びとの前にあらわされた。地のすべての果は、われわれの神の救を見る。
52:10 The LORD has made bare his holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
52:11 去れよ、去れよ、そこを出て、汚れた物にさわるな。その中を出よ、主の器をになう者よ、おのれを清く保て。
52:11 Depart all of you, depart all of you, go all of you out from thence, touch no unclean thing; go all of you out of the midst of her; be all of you clean, that bear the vessels of the LORD.
52:12 あなたがたは急いで出るに及ばない、また、とんで行くにも及ばない。主はあなたがたの前に行き、イスラエルの神はあなたがたの／しんがりとなられるからだ。
52:12 For all of you shall not go out with haste, nor go by flight: for the LORD will go before you; and the God of Israel will be your rear guard.
52:13 見よ、わがしもべは栄える。彼は高められ、あげられ、ひじょうに高くなる。
52:13 Behold, my servant shall deal prudently, he shall be exalted and extolled, and be very high.
52:14 多くの人が彼に驚いたように――彼の顔だちは、そこなわれて人と異なり、その姿は人の子と異なっていたからである――
52:14 As many were astonished at you; his visage was so ruined more than any man, and his form more than the sons of men:
52:15 彼は多くの国民を驚かす。王たちは彼のゆえに口をつむぐ。それは彼らがまだ伝えられなかったことを見、まだ聞かなかったことを悟るからだ。
52:15 So shall he sprinkle many nations; the kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they consider.
53:1 だれがわれわれの聞いたことを／信じ得たか。主の腕は、だれにあらわれたか。
53:1 Who has believed our report? and to whom is the arm of the LORD revealed?
53:2 彼は主の前に若木のように、かわいた土から出る根のように育った。彼にはわれわれの見るべき姿がなく、威厳もなく、われわれの慕うべき美しさもない。
53:2 For he shall grow up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground: he has no form nor loveliness; and when we shall see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him.
53:3 彼は侮られて人に捨てられ、悲しみの人で、病を知っていた。また顔をおおって忌みきらわれる者のように、彼は侮られた。われわれも彼を尊ばなかった。
53:3 He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.
53:4 まことに彼はわれわれの病を負い、われわれの悲しみをになった。しかるに、われわれは思った、彼は打たれ、神にたたかれ、苦しめられたのだと。
53:4 Surely he has borne our sicknesses, and carried our pains: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
53:5 しかし彼はわれわれのとがのために傷つけられ、われわれの不義のために砕かれたのだ。彼はみずから懲らしめをうけて、われわれに平安を与え、その打たれた傷によって、われわれはいやされたのだ。
53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
53:6 われわれはみな羊のように迷って、おのおの自分の道に向かって行った。主はわれわれすべての者の不義を、彼の上におかれた。
53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD has laid on him the iniquity of us all.
53:7 彼はしえたげられ、苦しめられたけれども、口を開かなかった。ほふり場にひかれて行く小羊のように、また毛を切る者の前に黙っている羊のように、口を開かなかった。
53:7 He was oppressed, and he was afflicted, yet he opened not his mouth: he is brought as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is dumb, so he opens not his mouth.
53:8 彼は暴虐なさばきによって取り去られた。その代の人のうち、だれが思ったであろうか、彼はわが民のとがのために打たれて、生けるものの地から断たれたのだと。
53:8 He was taken from prison and from judgment: and who shall declare his generation? for he was cut off out of the land of the living: for the transgression of my people was he stricken.
53:9 彼は暴虐を行わず、その口には偽りがなかったけれども、その墓は悪しき者と共に設けられ、その塚は悪をなす者と共にあった。
53:9 And he made his grave with the wicked, and with the rich in his death; because he had done no violence, neither was any deceit in his mouth.
53:10 しかも彼を砕くことは主のみ旨であり、主は彼を悩まされた。彼が自分を、とがの供え物となすとき、その子孫を見ることができ、その命をながくすることができる。かつ主のみ旨が彼の手によって栄える。
53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he has put him to grief: when you shall make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
53:11 彼は自分の魂の苦しみにより光を見て満足する。義なるわがしもべはその知識によって、多くの人を義とし、また彼らの不義を負う。
53:11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
53:12 それゆえ、わたしは彼に大いなる者と共に／物を分かち取らせる。彼は強い者と共に獲物を分かち取る。これは彼が死にいたるまで、自分の魂をそそぎだし、とがある者と共に数えられたからである。しかも彼は多くの人の罪を負い、とがある者のためにとりなしをした。
53:12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he has poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
54:1 「子を産まなかったうまずめよ、歌え。産みの苦しみをしなかった者よ、声を放って歌いよばわれ。夫のない者の子は、とついだ者の子よりも多い」と主は言われる。
54:1 Sing, O barren, you that did not bear; break forth into singing, and cry aloud, you that did not travail with child: for more are the children of the desolate than the children of the married wife, says the LORD.
54:2 「あなたの天幕の場所を広くし、あなたのすまいの幕を張りひろげ、惜しむことなく、あなたの綱を長くし、あなたの杭を強固にせよ。
54:2 Enlarge the place of your tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of yours habitations: spare not, lengthen your cords, and strengthen your stakes;
54:3 あなたは右に左にひろがり、あなたの子孫はもろもろの国を獲、荒れすたれた町々をも住民で満たすからだ。
54:3 For you shall break forth on the right hand and on the left; and your seed shall inherit the Gentiles, and make the desolate cities to be inhabited.
54:4 恐れてはならない。あなたは恥じることがない。あわてふためいてはならない。あなたは、はずかしめられることがない。あなたは若い時の恥を忘れ、寡婦であった時のはずかしめを、再び思い出すことがない。
54:4 Fear not; for you shall not be ashamed: neither be you confounded; for you shall not be put to shame: for you shall forget the shame of your youth, and shall not remember the reproach of your widowhood any more.
54:5 あなたを造られた者はあなたの夫であって、その名は万軍の主。あなたをあがなわれる者は、イスラエルの聖者であって、全地の神ととなえられる。
54:5 For your Maker is yours husband; the LORD of hosts is his name; and your Redeemer the Holy One of Israel; The God of the whole earth shall he be called.
54:6 捨てられて心悲しむ妻、また若い時にとついで出された妻を招くように／主はあなたを招かれた」と／あなたの神は言われる。
54:6 For the LORD has called you as a woman forsaken and grieved in spirit, and a wife of youth, when you were refused, says your God.
54:7 「わたしはしばしばあなたを捨てたけれども、大いなるあわれみをもってあなたを集める。
54:7 For a small moment have I forsaken you; but with great mercies will I gather you.
54:8 あふれる憤りをもって、しばしわが顔を隠したけれども、とこしえのいつくしみをもって、あなたをあわれむ」と／あなたをあがなわれる主は言われる。
54:8 In a little wrath I hid my face from you for a moment; but with everlasting kindness will I have mercy on you, says the LORD your Redeemer.
54:9 「このことはわたしにはノアの時のようだ。わたしはノアの洪水を、再び地にあふれさせないと誓ったが、そのように、わたしは再びあなたを怒らない、再びあなたを責めないと誓った。
54:9 For this is as the waters of Noah unto me: for as I have sworn that the waters of Noah should no more go over the earth; so have I sworn that I would not be angry with you, nor rebuke you.
54:10 山は移り、丘は動いても、わがいつくしみはあなたから移ることなく、平安を与えるわが契約は動くことがない」と／あなたをあわれまれる主は言われる。
54:10 For the mountains shall depart, and the hills be removed; but my kindness shall not depart from you, neither shall the covenant of my peace be removed, says the LORD that has mercy on you.
54:11 「苦しみをうけ、あらしにもてあそばれ、慰めを得ない者よ、見よ、わたしはアンチモニーであなたの石をすえ、サファイヤであなたの基をおき、
54:11 O you afflicted, tossed with tempest, and not comforted, behold, I will lay your stones with fair colours, and lay your foundations with sapphires.
54:12 めのうであなたの尖塔を造り、紅玉であなたの門を造り、あなたの城壁をことごとく宝石で造る。
54:12 And I will make your windows of agates, and your gates of carbuncles, and all your borders of pleasant stones.
54:13 あなたの子らはみな主に教をうけ、あなたの子らは大いに栄える。
54:13 And all your children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of your children.
54:14 あなたは義をもって堅く立ち、しえたげから遠ざかって恐れることはない。また恐怖から遠ざかる、それはあなたに近づくことがないからである。
54:14 In righteousness shall you be established: you shall be far from oppression; for you shall not fear: and from terror; for it shall not come near you.
54:15 たとい争いを起す者があっても／わたしによるのではない。すべてあなたと争う者は、あなたのゆえに倒れる。
54:15 Behold, they shall surely gather together, but not by me: whosoever shall gather together against you shall fall for your sake.
54:16 見よ、炭火を吹きおこして、その目的にかなう武器を造り出す鍛冶は、わたしが創造した者、また荒し滅ぼす者も、わたしが創造した者である。
54:16 Behold, I have created the smith that blows the coals in the fire, and that brings forth an instrument for his work; and I have created the destroyer to destroy.
54:17 すべてあなたを攻めるために造られる武器は、その目的を達しない。すべてあなたに逆らい立って、争い訴える舌は、あなたに説き破られる。これが主のしもべらの受ける嗣業であり、また彼らがわたしから受ける義である」と／主は言われる。
54:17 No weapon that is formed against you shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is of me, says the LORD.
55:1 「さあ、かわいている者は／みな水にきたれ。金のない者もきたれ。来て買い求めて食べよ。あなたがたは来て、金を出さずに、ただでぶどう酒と乳とを買い求めよ。
55:1 Ho, every one that thirsts, come all of you to the waters, and he that has no money; come all of you, buy, and eat; yea, come, buy wine and milk without money and without price.
55:2 なぜ、あなたがたは、かてにもならぬもののために金を費し、飽きることもできぬもののために労するのか。わたしによく聞き従え。そうすれば、良い物を食べることができ、最も豊かな食物で、自分を楽しませることができる。
55:2 Wherefore do all of you spend money for that which is not bread? and your labour for that which satisfies not? hearken diligently unto me, and eat all of you that which is good, and let your soul delight itself in fatness.
55:3 耳を傾け、わたしにきて聞け。そうすれば、あなたがたは生きることができる。わたしは、あなたがたと、とこしえの契約を立てて、ダビデに約束した変らない確かな恵みを与える。
55:3 Incline your ear, and come unto me: hear, and your soul shall live; and I will make an everlasting covenant with you, even the sure mercies of David.
55:4 見よ、わたしは彼を立てて、もろもろの民への証人とし、また、もろもろの民の君とし、命令する者とした。
55:4 Behold, I have given him for a witness to the people, a leader and commander to the people.
55:5 見よ、あなたは知らない国民を招く、あなたを知らない国民は／あなたのもとに走ってくる。これはあなたの神、主、イスラエルの聖者のゆえであり、主があなたに光栄を与えられたからである。
55:5 Behold, you shall call a nation that you know not, and nations that knew not you shall run unto you because of the LORD your God, and for the Holy One of Israel; for he has glorified you.
55:6 あなたがたは主にお会いすることのできるうちに、主を尋ねよ。近くおられるうちに呼び求めよ。
55:6 Seek all of you the LORD while he may be found, call all of you upon him while he is near:
55:7 悪しき者はその道を捨て、正しからぬ人はその思いを捨てて、主に帰れ。そうすれば、主は彼にあわれみを施される。われわれの神に帰れ、主は豊かにゆるしを与えられる。
55:7 Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the LORD, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.
55:8 わが思いは、あなたがたの思いとは異なり、わが道は、あなたがたの道とは異なっていると／主は言われる。
55:8 For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says the LORD.
55:9 天が地よりも高いように、わが道は、あなたがたの道よりも高く、わが思いは、あなたがたの思いよりも高い。
55:9 For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
55:10 天から雨が降り、雪が落ちてまた帰らず、地を潤して物を生えさせ、芽を出させて、種まく者に種を与え、食べる者にかてを与える。
55:10 For as the rain comes down, and the snow from heaven, and returns not thither, but waters the earth, and makes it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:
55:11 このように、わが口から出る言葉も、むなしくわたしに帰らない。わたしの喜ぶところのことをなし、わたしが命じ送った事を果す。
55:11 So shall my word be that goes forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it.
55:12 あなたがたは喜びをもって出てきて、安らかに導かれて行く。山と丘とはあなたの前に声を放って喜び歌い、野にある木はみな手を打つ。
55:12 For all of you shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace: the mountains and the hills shall break forth before you into singing, and all the trees of the field shall clap their hands.
55:13 いとすぎは、いばらに代って生え、ミルトスの木は、おどろに代って生える。これは主の記念となり、また、とこしえのしるしとなって、絶えることはない」。
55:13 Instead of the thorn shall come up the fir tree, and instead of the brier shall come up the myrtle tree: and it shall be to the LORD for a name, for an everlasting sign that shall not be cut off.
56:1 主はこう言われる、「あなたがたは公平を守って正義を行え。わが救の来るのは近く、わが助けのあらわれるのが近いからだ。
56:1 Thus says the LORD, Keep all of you judgment, and do justice: for my salvation is near to come, and my righteousness to be revealed.
56:2 安息日を守って、これを汚さず、その手をおさえて、悪しき事をせず、このように行う人、これを堅く守る人の子はさいわいである」。
56:2 Blessed is the man that does this, and the son of man that lays hold on it; that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and keeps his hand from doing any evil.
56:3 主に連なっている異邦人は言ってはならない、「主は必ずわたしをその民から分かたれる」と。宦官もまた言ってはならない、「見よ、わたしは枯れ木だ」と。
56:3 Neither let the son of the stranger, that has joined himself to the LORD, speak, saying, The LORD has utterly separated me from his people: neither let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree.
56:4 主はこう言われる、「わが安息日を守り、わが喜ぶことを選んで、わが契約を堅く守る宦官には、
56:4 For thus says the LORD unto the eunuchs that keep my sabbaths, and choose the things that please me, and take hold of my covenant;
56:5 わが家のうちで、わが垣のうちで、むすこにも娘にもまさる記念のしるしと名を与え、絶えることのない、とこしえの名を与える。
56:5 Even unto them will I give in mine house and within my walls a place and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I will give them an everlasting name, that shall not be cut off.
56:6 また主に連なり、主に仕え、主の名を愛し、そのしもべとなり、すべて安息日を守って、これを汚さず、わが契約を堅く守る異邦人は――
56:6 Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to the LORD, to serve him, and to love the name of the LORD, to be his servants, every one that keeps the sabbath from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant;
56:7 わたしはこれをわが聖なる山にこさせ、わが祈の家のうちで楽しませる、彼らの燔祭と犠牲とは、わが祭壇の上に受けいれられる。わが家はすべての民の／祈の家ととなえられるからである」。
56:7 Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their burnt offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon mine altar; for mine house shall be called an house of prayer for all people.
56:8 イスラエルの追いやられた者を集められる／主なる神はこう言われる、「わたしはさらに人を集めて、すでに集められた者に加えよう」と。
56:8 The Lord GOD, which gathers the outcasts of Israel says, Yet will I gather others to him, beside those that are gathered unto him.
56:9 野のすべての獣よ、林におるすべての獣よ、来て食らえ。
56:9 All you beasts of the field, come to devour, yea, all you beasts in the forest.
56:10 見張人らはみな目しいで、知ることがなく、みな、おしの犬で、ほえることができない。みな夢みる者、伏している者、まどろむことを好む者だ。
56:10 His watchmen are blind: they are all ignorant, they are all dumb dogs, they cannot bark; sleeping, lying down, loving to slumber.
56:11 この犬どもは強欲で、飽くことを知らない。彼らはまた悟ることのできない牧者で、皆おのが道にむかいゆき、おのおのみな、おのれの利を求める。
56:11 Yea, they are greedy dogs which can never have enough, and they are shepherds that cannot understand: they all look to their own way, every one for his gain, from his quarter.
56:12 彼らは互に言う、「さあ、われわれは酒を手に入れ、濃い酒をあびるほど飲もう。あすも、きょうのようであるだろう、すばらしい日だ」と。
56:12 Come all of you, say they, I will fetch wine, and we will fill ourselves with strong drink; and tomorrow shall be as this day, and much more abundant.
57:1 正しい者が滅びても、心にとめる人がなく、神を敬う人々が取り去られても、悟る者はない。正しい者は災の前に取り去られて、
57:1 The righteous perishes, and no man lays it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.
57:2 平安に入るからである。すべて正直に歩む者は、その床に休むことができる。
57:2 He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.
57:3 しかし、あなたがた女魔法使の子よ、姦夫と遊女のすえよ、こちらへ近寄れ。
57:3 But draw near here, all of you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.
57:4 あなたがたは、だれにむかって戯れをなすのか。だれにむかって口を開き、舌を出すのか。あなたがたは背信の子ら、偽りのすえではないか。
57:4 Against whom do all of you sport yourselves? against whom make all of you a wide mouth, and draw out the tongue? are all of you not children of transgression, a seed of falsehood.
57:5 あなたがたは、かしの木の間、すべての青木の下で心をこがし、谷の中、岩のはざまで子どもを殺した。
57:5 Enflaming yourselves with idols under every green tree, slaying the children in the valleys under the clefts of the rocks?
57:6 あなたは谷のなめらかな石を自分の嗣業とし、これを自分の分け前とし、これに灌祭をそそぎ、供え物をささげた。わたしはこれらの物によってなだめられようか。
57:6 Among the smooth stones of the stream is your portion; they, they are your lot: even to them have you poured a drink offering, you have offered a food offering. Should I receive comfort in these?
57:7 あなたは高くそびえた山の上に自分の床を設け、またそこに登って行って犠牲をささげた。
57:7 Upon a lofty and high mountain have you set your bed: even thither went you up to offer sacrifice.

57:8 Behind the doors also and the posts have you set up your remembrance: for you have discovered yourself to another than me, and are gone up; you have enlarged your bed, and made you a covenant with them; you loved their bed where you saw it.
57:9 あなたは、におい油を携えてモレクに行き、多くのかおり物をささげた。またあなたの使者を遠くにつかわし、陰府の深い所にまでつかわした。
57:9 And you went to the king with ointment, and did increase your perfumes, and did send your messengers far off, and did debase yourself even unto hell.
57:10 あなたは道の長いのに疲れても、なお「望みがない」とは言わなかった。あなたはおのが力の回復を得たので、衰えることがなかった。
57:10 You are wearied in the greatness of your way; yet said you not, There is no hope: you have found the life of yours hand; therefore you were not grieved.
57:11 あなたはだれをおじ恐れて、偽りを言い、わたしを覚えず、また心におかなかったのか。わたしが久しく黙っていたために、あなたはわたしを恐れなかったのではなかったか。
57:11 And of whom have you been afraid or feared, that you have lied, and have not remembered me, nor laid it to your heart? have not I held my peace even of old, and you fear me not?
57:12 わたしはあなたの義と、あなたのわざを告げ示そう、しかしこれらはあなたを益しない。
57:12 I will declare your righteousness, and your works; for they shall not profit you.
57:13 あなたが呼ばわる時、あなたが集めておいた偶像にあなたを救わせよ。風は彼らを運び去り、息は彼らを取り去る。しかしわたしに寄り頼む者は地を継ぎ、わが聖なる山をまもる。
57:13 When you cry, let your companies deliver you; but the wind shall carry them all away; vanity shall take them: but he that puts his trust in me shall possess the land, and shall inherit my holy mountain;
57:14 主は言われる、「土を盛り、土を盛って道を備えよ、わが民の道から、つまずく物を取り去れ」と。
57:14 And shall say, Cast all of you up, cast all of you up, prepare the way, take up the stumbling block out of the way of my people.
57:15 いと高く、いと上なる者、とこしえに住む者、その名を聖ととなえられる者がこう言われる、「わたしは高く、聖なる所に住み、また心砕けて、へりくだる者と共に住み、へりくだる者の霊をいかし、砕ける者の心をいかす。
57:15 For thus says the high and lofty One that inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy; I dwell in the high and holy place, with him also that is of a contrite and humble spirit, to revive the spirit of the humble, and to revive the heart of the contrite ones.
57:16 わたしはかぎりなく争わない、また絶えず怒らない。霊はわたしから出、いのちの息はわたしがつくったからだ。
57:16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always angry: for the spirit should fail before me, and the souls which I have made.
57:17 彼のむさぼりの罪のゆえに、わたしは怒って彼を打ち、わが顔をかくして怒った。しかし彼はなおそむいて、おのが心の道へ行った。
57:17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I angry, and stroke him: I hid me, and was angry, and he went on perversely in the way of his heart.
57:18 わたしは彼の道を見た。わたしは彼をいやし、また彼を導き、慰めをもって彼に報い、悲しめる者のために、くちびるの実を造ろう。
57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
57:19 遠い者にも近い者にも平安あれ、平安あれ、わたしは彼をいやそう」と主は言われる。
57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, says the LORD; and I will heal him.
57:20 しかし悪しき者は波の荒い海のようだ。静まることができないで、その水はついに泥と汚物とを出す。
57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
57:21 わが神は言われる、「よこしまな者には平安がない」と。
57:21 There is no peace, says my God, to the wicked.
58:1 「大いに呼ばわって声を惜しむな。あなたの声をラッパのようにあげ、わが民にそのとがを告げ、ヤコブの家にその罪を告げ示せ。
58:1 Cry aloud, spare not, lift up your voice like a trumpet, and show my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.
58:2 彼らは日々わたしを尋ね求め、義を行い、神のおきてを捨てない国民のように、わが道を知ることを喜ぶ。彼らは正しいさばきをわたしに求め、神に近づくことを喜ぶ。
58:2 Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.
58:3 彼らは言う、『われわれが断食したのに、なぜ、ごらんにならないのか。われわれがおのれを苦しめたのに、なぜ、ごぞんじないのか』と。見よ、あなたがたの断食の日には、おのが楽しみを求め、その働き人をことごとくしえたげる。
58:3 Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and you see not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and you take no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast all of you find pleasure, and exact all your labours.
58:4 見よ、あなたがたの断食するのは、ただ争いと、いさかいのため、また悪のこぶしをもって人を打つためだ。きょう、あなたがたのなす断食は、その声を上に聞えさせるものではない。
58:4 Behold, all of you fast for strife and debate, and to strike with the fist of wickedness: all of you shall not fast as all of you do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.
58:5 このようなものは、わたしの選ぶ断食であろうか。人がおのれを苦しめる日であろうか。そのこうべを葦のように伏せ、荒布と灰とをその下に敷くことであろうか。あなたは、これを断食ととなえ、主に受けいれられる日と、となえるであろうか。
58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? will you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?
58:6 わたしが選ぶところの断食は、悪のなわをほどき、くびきのひもを解き、しえたげられる者を放ち去らせ、すべてのくびきを折るなどの事ではないか。
58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that all of you break every yoke?
58:7 また飢えた者に、あなたのパンを分け与え、さすらえる貧しい者を、あなたの家に入れ、裸の者を見て、これを着せ、自分の骨肉に身を隠さないなどの事ではないか。
58:7 Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? when you see the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from yours own flesh?
58:8 そうすれば、あなたの光が暁のようにあらわれ出て、あなたは、すみやかにいやされ、あなたの義はあなたの前に行き、主の栄光はあなたのしんがりとなる。
58:8 Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and yours health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of the LORD shall be your rear guard.
58:9 また、あなたが呼ぶとき、主は答えられ、あなたが叫ぶとき、『わたしはここにおる』と言われる。もし、あなたの中からくびきを除き、指をさすこと、悪い事を語ることを除き、
58:9 Then shall you call, and the LORD shall answer; you shall cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If you take away from the midst of you the yoke, the putting out of the finger, and speaking vanity;
58:10 飢えた者にあなたのパンを施し、苦しむ者の願いを満ち足らせるならば、あなたの光は暗きに輝き、あなたのやみは真昼のようになる。
58:10 And if you draw out your soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall your light rise in obscurity, and your darkness be as the noon day:
58:11 主は常にあなたを導き、良き物をもってあなたの願いを満ち足らせ、あなたの骨を強くされる。あなたは潤った園のように、水の絶えない泉のようになる。
58:11 And the LORD shall guide you continually, and satisfy your soul in drought, and make fat your bones: and you shall be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
58:12 あなたの子らは久しく荒れすたれたる所を興し、あなたは代々やぶれた基を立て、人はあなたを『破れを繕う者』と呼び、『市街を繕って住むべき所となす者』と／呼ぶようになる。
58:12 And they that shall be of you shall build the old waste places: you shall raise up the foundations of many generations; and you shall be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.
58:13 もし安息日にあなたの足をとどめ、わが聖日にあなたの楽しみをなさず、安息日を喜びの日と呼び、主の聖日を尊ぶべき日ととなえ、これを尊んで、おのが道を行わず、おのが楽しみを求めず、むなしい言葉を語らないならば、
58:13 If you turn away your foot from the sabbath, from doing your pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shall honour him, not doing yours own ways, nor finding yours own pleasure, nor speaking yours own words:
58:14 その時あなたは主によって喜びを得、わたしは、あなたに地の高い所を乗り通らせ、あなたの先祖ヤコブの嗣業をもって、あなたを養う」。これは主の口から語られたものである。
58:14 Then shall you delight yourself in the LORD; and I will cause you to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father: for the mouth of the LORD has spoken it.
59:1 見よ、主の手が短くて、救い得ないのではない。その耳が鈍くて聞き得ないのでもない。
59:1 Behold, the LORD's hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:
59:2 ただ、あなたがたの不義が／あなたがたと、あなたがたの神との間を隔てたのだ。またあなたがたの罪が／主の顔をおおったために、お聞きにならないのだ。
59:2 But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.
59:3 あなたがたの手は血で汚れ、あなたがたの指は不義で汚れ、あなたがたのくちびるは偽りを語り、あなたがたの舌は悪をささやき、
59:3 For your hands are defiled with blood, and your fingers with iniquity; your lips have spoken lies, your tongue has muttered perverseness.
59:4 ひとりも正義をもって訴え、真実をもって論争する者がない。彼らはむなしきことを頼み、偽りを語り、害悪をはらみ、不義を産む。
59:4 None calls for justice, nor any pleads for truth: they trust in vanity, and speak lies; they conceive mischief, and bring forth iniquity.

59:5 They hatch cockatrice' eggs, and weave the spider's web: he that eats of their eggs dies, and that which is crushed breaks out into a viper.

59:6 Their webs shall not become garments, neither shall they cover themselves with their works: their works are works of iniquity, and the act of violence is in their hands.

59:7 Their feet run to evil, and they make haste to shed innocent blood: their thoughts are thoughts of iniquity; wasting and destruction are in their paths.

59:8 The way of peace they know not; and there is no judgment in their activities: they have made them crooked paths: whosoever goes therein shall not know peace.
59:9 それゆえ、公平は遠くわれわれを離れ、正義はわれわれに追いつかない。われわれは光を望んでも、暗きを見、輝きを望んでも、やみを行く。
59:9 Therefore is judgment far from us, neither does justice overtake us: we wait for light, but behold obscurity; for brightness, but we walk in darkness.
59:10 われわれは盲人のように、かきを手さぐりゆき、目のない者のように手さぐりゆき、真昼でも、たそがれのようにつまずき、強壮な者の中にあっても死人のようだ。
59:10 We grope for the wall like the blind, and we grope as if we had no eyes: we stumble at noon day as in the night; we are in desolate places as dead men.
59:11 われわれは皆くまのようにほえ、はとのようにいたくうめき、公平を望んでも、きたらず、救を望んでも、遠くわれわれを離れ去る。
59:11 We roar all like bears, and mourn sore like doves: we look for judgment, but there is none; for salvation, but it is far off from us.
59:12 われわれのとがは、あなたの前に多く、罪は、われわれを訴えて、あかしをなし、とがは、われわれと共にあり、不義は、われわれがこれを知る。
59:12 For our transgressions are multiplied before you, and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;
59:13 われわれは、そむいて主をいなみ、退いて、われわれの神に従わず、しえたげと、そむきとを語り、偽りの言葉を心にはらんで、それを言いあらわす。
59:13 In transgressing and lying against the LORD, and departing away from our God, speaking oppression and revolt, conceiving and uttering from the heart words of falsehood.
59:14 公平はうしろに退けられ、正義ははるかに立つ。それは、真実は広場に倒れ、正直は、はいることができないからである。
59:14 And judgment is turned away backward, and justice stands far off: for truth is fallen in the street, and equity cannot enter.
59:15 真実は欠けてなく、悪を離れる者はかすめ奪われる。主はこれを見て、公平がなかったことを喜ばれなかった。
59:15 Yea, truth fails; and he that departs from evil makes himself a prey: and the LORD saw it, and it displeased him that there was no judgment.
59:16 主は人のないのを見られ、仲に立つ者のないのをあやしまれた。それゆえ、ご自分のかいなをもって、勝利を得、その義をもって、おのれをささえられた。
59:16 And he saw that there was no man, and wondered that there was no intercessor: therefore his arm brought salvation unto him; and his righteousness, it sustained him.
59:17 主は義を胸当としてまとい、救のかぶとをその頭にいただき、報復の衣をまとって着物とし、熱心を外套として身を包まれた。
59:17 For he put on righteousness as a breastplate, and an helmet of salvation upon his head; and he put on the garments of vengeance for clothing, and was clad with zeal as a cloak.
59:18 主は彼らの行いにしたがって報いをなし、あだにむかって怒り、敵にむかって報いをなし、海沿いの国々にむかって報いをされる。
59:18 According to their deeds, accordingly he will repay, fury to his adversaries, recompence to his enemies; to the islands he will repay recompence.
59:19 こうして、人々は西の方から主の名を恐れ、日の出る方からその栄光を恐れる。主は、せき止めた川を、そのいぶきで押し流すように、こられるからである。
59:19 So shall they fear the name of the LORD from the west, and his glory from the rising of the sun. When the enemy shall come in like a flood, the Spirit of the LORD shall lift up a standard against him.
59:20 主は言われる、「主は、あがなう者としてシオンにきたり、ヤコブのうちの、とがを離れる者に至る」と。
59:20 And the Redeemer shall come to Zion, and unto them that turn from transgression in Jacob, says the LORD.
59:21 主は言われる、「わたしが彼らと立てる契約はこれである。あなたの上にあるわが霊、あなたの口においたわが言葉は、今から後とこしえに、あなたの口から、あなたの子らの口から、あなたの子らの子の口から離れることはない」と。
59:21 As for me, this is my covenant with them, says the LORD; My spirit that is upon you, and my words which I have put in your mouth, shall not depart out of your mouth, nor out of the mouth of your seed, nor out of the mouth of your seed's seed, says the LORD, from henceforth and for ever.
60:1 起きよ、光を放て。あなたの光が臨み、主の栄光があなたの上にのぼったから。
60:1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you.
60:2 見よ、暗きは地をおおい、やみはもろもろの民をおおう。しかし、あなたの上には主が朝日のごとくのぼられ、主の栄光があなたの上にあらわれる。
60:2 For, behold, the darkness shall cover the earth, and gross darkness the people: but the LORD shall arise upon you, and his glory shall be seen upon you.
60:3 もろもろの国は、あなたの光に来、もろもろの王は、のぼるあなたの輝きに来る。
60:3 And the Gentiles shall come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your rising.
60:4 あなたの目をあげて見まわせ、彼らはみな集まってあなたに来る。あなたの子らは遠くから来、あなたの娘らは、かいなにいだかれて来る。
60:4 Lift up yours eyes round about, and see: all they gather themselves together, they come to you: your sons shall come from far, and your daughters shall be nursed at your side.
60:5 その時あなたは見て、喜びに輝き、あなたの心はどよめき、かつ喜ぶ。海の富が移ってあなたに来、もろもろの国の宝が、あなたに来るからである。
60:5 Then you shall see, and flow together, and yours heart shall fear, and be enlarged; because the abundance of the sea shall be converted unto you, the forces of the Gentiles shall come unto you.
60:6 多くのらくだ、ミデアンおよびエパの若きらくだは／あなたをおおい、シバの人々はみな黄金、乳香を携えてきて、主の誉を宣べ伝える。
60:6 The multitude of camels shall cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all they from Sheba shall come: they shall bring gold and incense; and they shall show forth the praises of the LORD.
60:7 ケダルの羊の群れはみなあなたに集まって来、ネバヨテの雄羊はあなたに仕え、わが祭壇の上にのぼって受けいれられる。こうして、わたしはわが栄光の家を輝かす。
60:7 All the flocks of Kedar shall be gathered together unto you, the rams of Nebaioth shall minister unto you: they shall come up with acceptance on mine altar, and I will glorify the house of my glory.
60:8 雲のように飛び、はとがその小屋に／飛び帰るようにして来る者はだれか。
60:8 Who are these that fly as a cloud, and as the doves to their windows?
60:9 海沿いの国々はわたしを待ち望み、タルシシの船はいや先に／あなたの子らを遠くから載せて来、また彼らの金銀を共に載せて来て、あなたの神、主の名にささげ、イスラエルの聖者にささげる。主があなたを輝かされたからである。
60:9 Surely the isles shall wait for me, and the ships of Tarshish first, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, unto the name of the LORD your God, and to the Holy One of Israel, because he has glorified you.
60:10 異邦人はあなたの城壁を築き、彼らの王たちはあなたに仕える。わたしは怒りをもってあなたを打ったけれども、また恵みをもってあなたをあわれんだからである。
60:10 And the sons of strangers shall build up your walls, and their kings shall minister unto you: for in my wrath I stroke you, but in my favour have I had mercy on you.
60:11 あなたの門は常に開いて、昼も夜も閉ざすことはない。これは人々が国々の宝をあなたに携えて来、その王たちを率いて来るためである。
60:11 Therefore your gates shall be open continually; they shall not be shut day nor night; that men may bring unto you the forces of the Gentiles, and that their kings may be brought.
60:12 あなたに仕えない国と民とは滅び、その国々は全く荒れすたれる。
60:12 For the nation and kingdom that will not serve you shall perish; yea, those nations shall be utterly wasted.
60:13 レバノンの栄えはあなたに来、いとすぎ、すずかけ、まつは皆共に来て、わが聖所をかざる。またわたしはわが足をおく所を尊くする。
60:13 The glory of Lebanon shall come unto you, the fir tree, the pine tree, and the box together, to beautify the place of my sanctuary; and I will make the place of my feet glorious.
60:14 あなたを苦しめた者の子らは、かがんで、あなたのもとに来、あなたをさげすんだ者は、ことごとくあなたの足もとに伏し、あなたを主の都、イスラエルの聖者のシオンととなえる。
60:14 The sons also of them that afflicted you shall come bending unto you; and all they that despised you shall bow themselves down at the soles of your feet; and they shall call you; The city of the LORD, The Zion of the Holy One of Israel.
60:15 あなたは捨てられ、憎まれて、その中を過ぎる者もなかったが、わたしはあなたを、とこしえの誇、世々の喜びとする。
60:15 Whereas you has been forsaken and hated, so that no man went through you, I will make you an eternal excellency, a joy of many generations.
60:16 あなたはまた、もろもろの国の乳を吸い、王たちの乳ぶさを吸い、そして主なるわたしが、あなたの救主、また、あなたのあがない主、ヤコブの全能者であることを知るにいたる。
60:16 You shall also suck the milk of the Gentiles, and shall suck the breast of kings: and you shall know that I the LORD am your Saviour and your Redeemer, the mighty One of Jacob.
60:17 わたしは青銅の代りに黄金を携え、くろがねの代りにしろがねを携え、木の代りに青銅を、石の代りに鉄を携えてきて、あなたのまつりごとを平和にし、あなたのつかさびとを正しくする。
60:17 For brass I will bring gold, and for iron I will bring silver, and for wood brass, and for stones iron: I will also make your officers peace, and yours exactors righteousness.
60:18 暴虐は、もはやあなたの地に聞かれず、荒廃と滅亡は、もはやあなたの境のうちに聞かれず、あなたはその城壁を「救」ととなえ、その門を「誉」ととなえる。
60:18 Violence shall no more be heard in your land, wasting nor destruction within your borders; but you shall call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.
60:19 昼は、もはや太陽があなたの光とならず、夜も月が輝いてあなたを照さず、主はとこしえにあなたの光となり、あなたの神はあなたの栄えとなられる。
60:19 The sun shall be no more your light by day; neither for brightness shall the moon give light unto you: but the LORD shall be unto you an everlasting light, and your God your glory.
60:20 あなたの太陽は再び没せず、あなたの月はかけることがない。主がとこしえにあなたの光となり、あなたの悲しみの日が終るからである。
60:20 Your sun shall no more go down; neither shall your moon withdraw itself: for the LORD shall be yours everlasting light, and the days of your mourning shall be ended.
60:21 あなたの民はことごとく正しい者となって、とこしえに地を所有する。彼らはわたしの植えた若枝、わが手のわざ、わが栄光をあらわすものとなる。
60:21 Your people also shall be all righteous: they shall inherit the land for ever, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified.
60:22 その最も小さい者は氏族となり、その最も弱い者は強い国となる。わたしは主である。その時がくるならば、すみやかにこの事をなす。
60:22 A little one shall become a thousand, and a small one a strong nation: I the LORD will hasten it in his time.
61:1 主なる神の霊がわたしに臨んだ。これは主がわたしに油を注いで、貧しい者に福音を宣べ伝えることをゆだね、わたしをつかわして心のいためる者をいやし、捕われ人に放免を告げ、縛られている者に解放を告げ、
61:1 The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD has anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;
61:2 主の恵みの年と／われわれの神の報復の日とを告げさせ、また、すべての悲しむ者を慰め、
61:2 To proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;
61:3 シオンの中の悲しむ者に喜びを与え、灰にかえて冠を与え、悲しみにかえて喜びの油を与え、憂いの心にかえて、さんびの衣を与えさせるためである。こうして、彼らは義のかしの木ととなえられ、主がその栄光をあらわすために／植えられた者ととなえられる。
61:3 To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
61:4 彼らはいにしえの荒れた所を建てなおし、さきに荒れすたれた所を興し、荒れた町々を新たにし、世々すたれた所を再び建てる。
61:4 And they shall build the old wastes, they shall raise up the former desolations, and they shall repair the waste cities, the desolations of many generations.
61:5 外国人は立ってあなたがたの群れを飼い、異邦人はあなたがたの畑を耕す者となり、ぶどうを作る者となる。
61:5 And strangers shall stand and feed your flocks, and the sons of the foreigner shall be your plowmen and your vinedressers.
61:6 しかし、あなたがたは主の祭司ととなえられ、われわれの神の役者と呼ばれ、もろもろの国の富を食べ、彼らの宝を得て喜ぶ。
61:6 But all of you shall be named the Priests of the LORD: men shall call you the Ministers of our God: all of you shall eat the riches of the Gentiles, and in their glory shall all of you boast yourselves.
61:7 あなたがたは、さきに受けた恥にかえて、二倍の賜物を受け、はずかしめにかえて、その嗣業を得て楽しむ。それゆえ、あなたがたはその地にあって、二倍の賜物を獲、とこしえの喜びを得る。
61:7 For your shame all of you shall have double; and for confusion they shall rejoice in their portion: therefore in their land they shall possess the double: everlasting joy shall be unto them.
61:8 主なるわたしは公平を愛し、強奪と邪悪を憎み、真実をもって彼らに報いを与え、彼らと、とこしえの契約を結ぶからである。
61:8 For I the LORD love judgment, I hate robbery for burnt offering; and I will direct their work in truth, and I will make an everlasting covenant with them.
61:9 彼らの子孫は、もろもろの国の中で知られ、彼らの子らは、もろもろの民の中に知られる。すべてこれを見る者は／これが主の祝福された民であることを認める。
61:9 And their seed shall be known among the Gentiles, and their offspring among the people: all that see them shall acknowledge them, that they are the seed which the LORD has blessed.
61:10 わたしは主を大いに喜び、わが魂はわが神を楽しむ。主がわたしに救の衣を着せ、義の上衣をまとわせて、花婿が冠をいただき、花嫁が宝玉をもって飾るようにされたからである。
61:10 I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, my soul shall be joyful in my God; for he has clothed me with the garments of salvation, he has covered me with the robe of righteousness, as a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, and as a bride adorns herself with her jewels.
61:11 地が芽をいだし、園がまいたものを生やすように、主なる神は義と誉とを、もろもろの国の前に、生やされる。
61:11 For as the earth brings forth her bud, and as the garden causes the things that are sown in it to spring forth; so the Lord GOD will cause righteousness and praise to spring forth before all the nations.
62:1 シオンの義が／朝日の輝きのようにあらわれいで、エルサレムの救が燃えるたいまつの様になるまで、わたしはシオンのために黙せず、エルサレムのために休まない。
62:1 For Zion's sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem's sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns.
62:2 もろもろの国はあなたの義を見、もろもろの王は皆あなたの栄えを見る。そして、あなたは主の口が定められる／新しい名をもってとなえられる。
62:2 And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory: and you shall be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.
62:3 また、あなたは主の手にある麗しい冠となり、あなたの神の手にある王の冠となる。
62:3 You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of your God.
62:4 あなたはもはや「捨てられた者」と言われず、あなたの地はもはや「荒れた者」と言われず、あなたは「わが喜びは彼女にある」ととなえられ、あなたの地は「配偶ある者」ととなえられる。主はあなたを喜ばれ、あなたの地は配偶を得るからである。
62:4 You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the LORD delights in you, and your land shall be married.
62:5 若い者が処女をめとるように／あなたの子らはあなたをめとり、花婿が花嫁を喜ぶように／あなたの神はあなたを喜ばれる。
62:5 For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you: and as the bridegroom rejoices over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you.
62:6 エルサレムよ、わたしはあなたの城壁の上に見張人をおいて、昼も夜もたえず、もだすことのないようにしよう。主に思い出されることを求める者よ、みずから休んではならない。
62:6 I have set watchmen upon your walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: all of you that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,
62:7 主がエルサレムを堅く立てて、全地に誉を得させられるまで、お休みにならぬようにせよ。
62:7 And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.
62:8 主はその右の手をさし、大能のかいなをさして誓われた、「わたしは再びあなたの穀物を／あなたの敵に与えて食べさせない。また、あなたが労して得たぶどう酒を／異邦人に与えて飲ませない。
62:8 The LORD has sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give your corn to be food for yours enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink your wine, for the which you have laboured:
62:9 しかし、穀物を刈り入れた者は／これを食べて主をほめたたえ、ぶどうを集めた者は／わが聖所の庭でこれを飲む」。
62:9 But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.
62:10 門を通って行け、通って行け。民の道を備えよ。土を盛り、土を盛って大路を設けよ。石を取りのけ。もろもろの民の上に旗をあげよ。
62:10 Go through, go through the gates; prepare all of you the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.
62:11 見よ、主は地の果にまで告げて言われた、「シオンの娘に言え、『見よ、あなたの救は来る。見よ、その報いは主と共にあり、その働きの報いは、その前にある』と。
62:11 Behold, the LORD has proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say all of you to the daughter of Zion, Behold, your salvation comes; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.
62:12 彼らは『聖なる民、主にあがなわれた者』ととなえられ、あなたは『人に尋ね求められる者、捨てられない町』ととなえられる」。
62:12 And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and you shall be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.
63:1 「このエドムから来る者、深紅の衣を着て、ボズラから来る者はだれか。その装いは、はなやかに、大いなる力をもって進み来る者はだれか」。「義をもって語り、救を施す力あるわたしがそれだ」。
63:1 Who is this that comes from Edom, with dyed garments from Bozrah? this that is glorious in his apparel, travelling in the greatness of his strength? I that speak in righteousness, mighty to save.
63:2 「何ゆえあなたの装いは赤く、あなたの衣は酒ぶねを踏む者のように赤いのか」。
63:2 Wherefore are you red in yours apparel, and your garments like him that treads in the winepress?
63:3 「わたしはひとりで酒ぶねを踏んだ。もろもろの民のなかに、わたしと事を共にする者はなかった。わたしは怒りによって彼らを踏み、憤りによって彼らを踏みにじったので、彼らの血がわが衣にふりかかり、わが装いをことごとく汚した。
63:3 I have trodden the winepress alone; and of the people there was none with me: for I will tread them in mine anger, and trample them in my fury; and their blood shall be sprinkled upon my garments, and I will stain all my raiment.
63:4 報復の日がわが心のうちにあり、わがあがないの年が来たからである。
63:4 For the day of vengeance is in mine heart, and the year of my redeemed has come.
63:5 わたしは見たけれども、助ける者はなく、怪しんだけれども、ささえる者はなかった。それゆえ、わがかいながわたしを勝たせ、わが憤りがわたしをささえた。
63:5 And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.
63:6 わたしは怒りによって、もろもろの民を踏みにじり、憤りによって彼らを酔わせ、彼らの血を、地に流れさせた」。
63:6 And I will tread down the people in mine anger, and make them drunk in my fury, and I will bring down their strength to the earth.
63:7 わたしは主がわれわれになされた／すべてのことによって、主のいつくしみと、主の誉とを語り告げ、また、そのあわれみにより、その多くのいつくしみによって、イスラエルの家に施されたその／大いなる恵みを語り告げよう。
63:7 I will mention the loving kindnesses of the LORD, and the praises of the LORD, according to all that the LORD has bestowed on us, and the great goodness toward the house of Israel, which he has bestowed on them according to his mercies, and according to the multitude of his loving kindnesses.
63:8 主は言われた、「まことに彼らはわが民、偽りのない子らである」と。そして主は彼らの救主となられた。
63:8 For he said, Surely they are my people, children that will not lie: so he was their Saviour.
63:9 彼らのすべての悩みのとき、主も悩まれて、そのみ前の使をもって彼らを救い、その愛とあわれみとによって彼らをあがない、いにしえの日、つねに彼らをもたげ、彼らを携えられた。
63:9 In all their affliction he was afflicted, and the angel of his presence saved them: in his love and in his pity he redeemed them; and he bare them, and carried them all the days of old.
63:10 ところが彼らはそむいて／その聖なる霊を憂えさせたので、主はひるがえって彼らの敵となり、みずから彼らと戦われた。
63:10 But they rebelled, and vexed his holy Spirit: therefore he was turned to be their enemy, and he fought against them.
63:11 その時、民はいにしえのモーセの日を／思い出して言った、「その群れの牧者を、海から携えあげた者はどこにいるか。彼らの中に聖なる霊をおいた者はどこにいるか。
63:11 Then he remembered the days of old, Moses, and his people, saying, Where is he that brought them up out of the sea with the shepherd of his flock? where is he that put his holy Spirit within him?
63:12 栄光のかいなをモーセの右に行かせ、彼らの前に水を二つに分けて、みずから、とこしえの名をつくり、
63:12 That led them by the right hand of Moses with his glorious arm, dividing the water before them, to make himself an everlasting name?
63:13 彼らを導いて、馬が野を走るように、つまずくことなく淵を通らせた者はどこにいるか。
63:13 That led them through the deep, as an horse in the wilderness, that they should not stumble?
63:14 谷にくだる家畜のように、主の霊は彼らをいこわせられた。このように、あなたはおのれの民を導いて／みずから栄光の名をつくられた」。
63:14 As a beast goes down into the valley, the Spirit of the LORD caused him to rest: so did you lead your people, to make yourself a glorious name.
63:15 どうか、天から見おろし、その聖なる栄光あるすみかからごらんください。あなたの熱心と、大能とはどこにありますか。あなたのせつなる同情とあわれみとは／おさえられて、わたしにあらわれません。
63:15 Look down from heaven, and behold from the habitation of your holiness and of your glory: where is your zeal and your strength, the sounding of your bowels and of your mercies toward me? are they restrained?
63:16 たといアブラハムがわれわれを知らず、イスラエルがわれわれを認めなくても、あなたはわれわれの父です。主よ、あなたはわれわれの父、いにしえからあなたの名は／われわれのあながい主です。
63:16 Doubtless you are our father, though Abraham be ignorant of us, and Israel acknowledge us not: you, O LORD, are our father, our redeemer; your name is from everlasting.
63:17 主よ、なぜ、われわれをあなたの道から離れ迷わせ、われわれの心をかたくなにして、あなたを恐れないようにされるのですか。どうぞ、あなたのしもべらのために、あなたの嗣業である部族らのために、お帰りください。
63:17 O LORD, why have you made us to go astray from your ways, and hardened our heart from your fear? Return for your servants' sake, the tribes of yours inheritance.
63:18 あなたの聖なる民が、あなたの聖所を獲て間もないのに、われわれのあだは、それを踏みにじりました。
63:18 The people of your holiness have possessed it but a little while: our adversaries have trodden down your sanctuary.
63:19 われわれはあなたによって、いにしえから治められない者のようになり、あなたの名をもって、となえられない者のようになりました。
63:19 We are yours: you never bare rule over them; they were not called by your name.
64:1 どうか、あなたが天を裂いて下り、あなたの前に山々が震い動くように。
64:1 Oh that you would rend the heavens, that you would come down, that the mountains might flow down at your presence,
64:2 火が柴木を燃やし、火が水を沸かすときのごとく下られるように。そして、み名をあなたのあだにあらわし、もろもろの国をあなたの前に／震えおののかせられるように。
64:2 As when the melting fire burns, the fire causes the waters to boil, to make your name known to yours adversaries, that the nations may tremble at your presence!
64:3 あなたは、われわれが期待しなかった恐るべき事を／なされた時に下られたので、山々は震い動いた。
64:3 When you did terrible things which we looked not for, you came down, the mountains flowed down at your presence.
64:4 いにしえからこのかた、あなたのほか神を待ち望む者に、このような事を行われた神を聞いたことはなく、耳に入れたこともなく、目に見たこともない。
64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither has the eye seen, O God, beside you, what he has prepared for him that waits for him.
64:5 あなたは喜んで義を行い、あなたの道にあって、あなたを記念する者を迎えられる。見よ、あなたは怒られた、われわれは罪を犯した。われわれは久しく罪のうちにあった。われわれは救われるであろうか。
64:5 You meet him that rejoices and works righteousness, those that remember you in your ways: behold, you are angry; for we have sinned: in those is continuance, and we shall be saved.
64:6 われわれはみな汚れた人のようになり、われわれの正しい行いは、ことごとく汚れた衣のようである。われわれはみな木の葉のように枯れ、われわれの不義は風のようにわれわれを吹き去る。
64:6 But we are all as an unclean thing, and all our righteousnesses are as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
64:7 あなたの名を呼ぶ者はなく、みずから励んで、あなたによりすがる者はない。あなたはみ顔を隠して、われわれを顧みられず、われわれをおのれの不義の手に渡された。
64:7 And there is none that calls upon your name, that stirs up himself to take hold of you: for you have hid your face from us, and have consumed us, because of our iniquities.
64:8 されど主よ、あなたはわれわれの父です。われわれは粘土であって、あなたは陶器師です。われわれはみな、み手のわざです。
64:8 But now, O LORD, you are our father; we are the clay, and you our potter; and we all are the work of your hand.
64:9 主よ、ひどくお怒りにならぬように、いつまでも不義をみこころにとめられぬように。どうぞ、われわれを顧みてください。われわれはみな、あなたの民です。
64:9 Be not angry very sore, O LORD, neither remember iniquity for ever: behold, see, we plead to you, we are all your people.
64:10 あなたの聖なる町々は荒野となり、シオンは荒野となり、エルサレムは荒れすたれた。
64:10 Your holy cities are a wilderness, Zion is a wilderness, Jerusalem a desolation.
64:11 われわれの先祖があなたをほめたたえた／聖なる麗しいわれわれの宮は火で焼かれ、われわれが慕った所はことごとく荒れはてた。
64:11 Our holy and our beautiful house, where our fathers praised you, is burned up with fire: and all our pleasant things are laid waste.
64:12 主よ、これらの事があっても／なお、あなたはみずからをおさえ、黙して、われわれをいたく苦しめられるのですか。
64:12 Will you refrain yourself for these things, O LORD? will you hold your peace, and afflict us very sore?
65:1 わたしはわたしを求めなかった者に／問われることを喜び、わたしを尋ねなかった者に／見いだされることを喜んだ。わたしはわが名を呼ばなかった国民に言った、「わたしはここにいる、わたしはここにいる」と。
65:1 I am sought of them that asked not for me; I am found of them that sought me not: I said, Behold me, behold me, unto a nation that was not called by my name.
65:2 よからぬ道に歩み、自分の思いに従うそむける民に、わたしはひねもす手を伸べて招いた。
65:2 I have spread out my hands all the day unto a rebellious people, which walks in a way that was not good, after their own thoughts;
65:3 この民はまのあたり常にわたしを怒らせ、園の中で犠牲をささげ、かわらの上で香をたき、
65:3 A people that provokes me to anger continually to my face; that sacrifices in gardens, and burns incense upon altars of brick;
65:4 墓場にすわり、ひそかな所にやどり、豚の肉を食らい、憎むべき物の、あつものをその器に盛って、
65:4 Which remain among the graves, and lodge in the monuments, which eat swine's flesh, and broth of abominable things is in their vessels;
65:5 言う、「あなたはそこに立って、わたしに近づいてはならない。わたしはあなたと区別されたものだから」と。これらはわが鼻の煙、ひねもす燃える火である。
65:5 Which say, Stand by yourself, come not near to me; for I am holier than you. These are a smoke in my nose, a fire that burns all the day.

65:6 Behold, it is written before me: I will not keep silence, but will recompense, even recompense into their bosom,

65:7 Your iniquities, and the iniquities of your fathers together, says the LORD, which have burned incense upon the mountains, and blasphemed me upon the hills: therefore will I measure their former work into their bosom.
65:8 主はこう言われる、「人がぶどうのふさの中に、ぶどうのしるのあるのを見るならば、『それを破るな、その中に祝福があるから』と言う。そのようにわたしは、わがしもべらのために行って、ことごとくは滅ぼさない。
65:8 Thus says the LORD, As the new wine is found in the cluster, and one says, Destroy it not; for a blessing is in it: so will I do for my servants' sakes, that I may not destroy them all.
65:9 わたしはヤコブから子孫をいだし、ユダからわが山々を受けつぐべき者をいだす。わたしが選んだ者はこれを受けつぎ、わがしもべらはそこに住む。
65:9 And I will bring forth a seed out of Jacob, and out of Judah an inheritor of my mountains: and mine elect shall inherit it, and my servants shall dwell there.
65:10 シャロンは羊の群れの牧場となり、アコルの谷は牛の群れの伏す所となって、わたしを尋ね求めたわが民のものとなる。
65:10 And Sharon shall be a fold of flocks, and the valley of Achor a place for the herds to lie down in, for my people that have sought me.
65:11 しかし主を捨て、わが聖なる山を忘れ、机を禍福の神に供え、混ぜ合わせた酒を盛って運命の神にささげるあなたがたよ、
65:11 But all of you are they that forsake the LORD, that forget my holy mountain, that prepare a table for that troop, and that furnish the drink offering unto that number.
65:12 わたしは、あなたがたを／つるぎに渡すことに定めた。あなたがたは皆かがんでほふられる。あなたがたはわたしが呼んだときに答えず、わたしが語ったときに聞かず、わたしの目に悪い事をおこない、わたしの好まなかった事を選んだからだ」。
65:12 Therefore will I number you to the sword, and all of you shall all bow down to the slaughter: because when I called, all of you did not answer; when I spoke, all of you did not hear; but did evil before mine eyes, and did choose that wherein I delighted not.
65:13 それゆえ、主なる神はこう言われる、「見よ、わがしもべたちは食べる、しかし、あなたがたは飢える。見よ、わがしもべたちは飲む、しかし、あなたがたはかわく。見よ、わがしもべたちは喜ぶ、しかし、あなたがたは恥じる。
65:13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD, Behold, my servants shall eat, but all of you shall be hungry: behold, my servants shall drink, but all of you shall be thirsty: behold, my servants shall rejoice, but all of you shall be ashamed:
65:14 見よ、わがしもべたちは心の楽しみによって歌う、しかし、あなたがたは心の苦しみによって叫び、たましいの悩みによって泣き叫ぶ。
65:14 Behold, my servants shall sing for joy of heart, but all of you shall cry for sorrow of heart, and shall wail for vexation of spirit.
65:15 あなたがたの残す名は／わが選んだ者には、のろいの文句となり、主なる神はあなたがたを殺される。しかし、おのれのしもべたちを、ほかの名をもって呼ばれる。
65:15 And all of you shall leave your name for a curse unto my chosen: for the Lord GOD shall slay you, and call his servants by another name:
65:16 それゆえ、地にあって／おのれのために祝福を求める者は、真実の神によっておのれの祝福を求め、地にあって誓う者は、真実の神をさして誓う。さきの悩みは忘れられて、わが目から隠れうせるからである。
65:16 That he who blesses himself in the earth shall bless himself in the God of truth; and he that swears in the earth shall swear by the God of truth; because the former troubles are forgotten, and because they are hid from mine eyes.
65:17 見よ、わたしは新しい天と、新しい地とを創造する。さきの事はおぼえられることなく、心に思い起すことはない。
65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.
65:18 しかし、あなたがたはわたしの創造するものにより、とこしえに楽しみ、喜びを得よ。見よ、わたしはエルサレムを造って喜びとし、その民を楽しみとする。
65:18 But be all of you glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.
65:19 わたしはエルサレムを喜び、わが民を楽しむ。泣く声と叫ぶ声は再びその中に聞えることはない。
65:19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.
65:20 わずか数日で死ぬみどりごと、おのが命の日を満たさない老人とは、もはやその中にいない。百歳で死ぬ者も、なお若い者とせられ、百歳で死ぬ者は、のろわれた罪びととされる。
65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that has not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.
65:21 彼らは家を建てて、それに住み、ぶどう畑を作って、その実を食べる。
65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.
65:22 彼らが建てる所に、ほかの人は住まず、彼らが植えるものは、ほかの人が食べない。わが民の命は、木の命のようになり、わが選んだ者は、その手のわざをながく楽しむからである。
65:22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.
65:23 彼らの勤労はむだでなく、その生むところの子らは災にかからない。彼らは主に祝福された者のすえであって、その子らも彼らと共におるからである。
65:23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of the LORD, and their offspring with them.
65:24 彼らが呼ばないさきに、わたしは答え、彼らがなお語っているときに、わたしは聞く。
65:24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.
65:25 おおかみと小羊とは共に食らい、ししは牛のようにわらを食らい、へびはちりを食物とする。彼らはわが聖なる山のどこでもそこなうことなく、やぶることはない」と主は言われる。
65:25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent's food. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, says the LORD.
66:1 主はこう言われる、「天はわが位、地はわが足台である。あなたがたはわたしのためにどんな家を／建てようとするのか。またどんな所がわが休み所となるのか」。
66:1 Thus says the LORD, The heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool: where is the house that all of you build unto me? and where is the place of my rest?
66:2 主は言われる、「わが手はすべてこれらの物を造った。これらの物はことごとくわたしのものである。しかし、わたしが顧みる人はこれである。すなわち、へりくだって心悔い、わが言葉に恐れおののく者である。
66:2 For all those things has mine hand made, and all those things have been, says the LORD: but to this man will I look, even to him that is poor and of a contrite spirit, and trembles at my word.
66:3 牛をほふる者は、また人を殺す者、小羊を犠牲とする者は、また犬をくびり殺す者、供え物をささげる者は、また豚の血をささげる者、乳香を記念としてささげる者は、また偶像をほめる者である。これはおのが道を選び、その心は憎むべきものを楽しむ。
66:3 He that kills an ox is as if he slew a man; he that sacrifices a lamb, as if he cut off a dog's neck; he that offers an oblation, as if he offered swine's blood; he that burns incense, as if he blessed an idol. Yea, they have chosen their own ways, and their soul delights in their abominations.
66:4 わたしもまた彼らのために悩みを選び、彼らの恐れるところのものを彼らに臨ませる。これは、わたしが呼んだときに答える者なく、わたしが語ったときに聞くことをせず、わたしの目に悪い事を行い、わたしの好まなかった事を選んだからである」。
66:4 I also will choose their delusions, and will bring their fears upon them; because when I called, none did answer; when I spoke, they did not hear: but they did evil before mine eyes, and chose that in which I delighted not.
66:5 あなたがた、主の言葉に恐れおののく者よ、主の言葉を聞け、「あなたがたの兄弟たちはあなたがたを憎み、あなたがたをわが名のために追い出して言った、『願わくは主がその栄光をあらわして／われわれにあなたがたの喜びを見させよ』と。しかし彼らは恥を受ける。
66:5 Hear the word of the LORD, all of you that tremble at his word; Your brethren that hated you, that cast you out for my name's sake, said, Let the LORD be glorified: but he shall appear to your joy, and they shall be ashamed.
66:6 聞けよ、町から起る騒ぎを。宮から聞える声を。主がその敵に報復される声を。
66:6 A voice of noise from the city, a voice from the temple, a voice of the LORD that renders recompence to his enemies.
66:7 シオンは産みの苦しみをなす前に産み、その苦しみの来ない前に男子を産んだ。
66:7 Before she travailed, she brought forth; before her pain came, she was delivered of a male child.
66:8 だれがこのような事を聞いたか、だれがこのような事どもを見たか。一つの国は一日の苦しみで生れるだろうか。一つの国民はひと時に生れるだろうか。しかし、シオンは産みの苦しみをするやいなや／その子らを産んだ。
66:8 Who has heard such a thing? who has seen such things? Shall the earth be made to bring forth in one day? or shall a nation be born at once? for as soon as Zion travailed, she brought forth her children.
66:9 わたしが出産に臨ませて／産ませないことがあろうか」と／主は言われる。「わたしは産ませる者なのに／胎をとざすであろうか」と／あなたの神は言われる。
66:9 Shall I bring to the birth, and not cause to bring forth? says the LORD: shall I cause to bring forth, and shut the womb? says your God.
66:10 「すべてエルサレムを愛する者よ、彼女と共に喜べ、彼女のゆえに楽しめ。すべて彼女のために悲しむ者よ、彼女と共に喜び楽しめ。
66:10 Rejoice all of you with Jerusalem, and be glad with her, all you that love her: rejoice for joy with her, all you that mourn for her:
66:11 あなたがたは慰めを与えるエルサレムの乳ぶさから／乳を吸って飽くことができ、またその豊かな栄えから／飲んで楽しむことができるからだ」。
66:11 That all of you may suck, and be satisfied with the breasts of her consolations; that all of you may milk out, and be delighted with the abundance of her glory.
66:12 主はこう言われる、「見よ、わたしは川のように彼女に繁栄を与え、みなぎる流れのように、もろもろの国の富を与える。あなたがたは乳を飲み、腰に負われ、ひざの上であやされる。
66:12 For thus says the LORD, Behold, I will extend peace to her like a river, and the glory of the Gentiles like a flowing stream: then shall all of you suck, all of you shall be borne upon her sides, and be dandled upon her knees.
66:13 母のその子を慰めるように、わたしもあなたがたを慰める。あなたがたはエルサレムで慰めを得る。
66:13 As one whom his mother comforts, so will I comfort you; and all of you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
66:14 あなたがたは見て、心喜び、あなたがたの骨は若草のように栄える。主の手はそのしもべらと共にあり、その憤りはその敵にむかっていることを知る。
66:14 And when all of you see this, your heart shall rejoice, and your bones shall flourish like an herb: and the hand of the LORD shall be known toward his servants, and his indignation toward his enemies.
66:15 見よ、主は火の中にあらわれて来られる。その車はつむじ風のようだ。激しい怒りをもってその憤りをもらし、火の炎をもって責められる。
66:15 For, behold, the LORD will come with fire, and with his chariots like a whirlwind, to render his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire.
66:16 主は火をもって、またつるぎをもって、すべての人にさばきを行われる。主に殺される者は多い」。
66:16 For by fire and by his sword will the LORD plead with all flesh: and the slain of the LORD shall be many.
66:17 「みずからを聖別し、みずからを清めて園に行き、その中にあるものに従い、豚の肉、憎むべき物およびねずみを食う者はみな共に絶えうせる」と主は言われる。
66:17 They that sanctify themselves, and purify themselves in the gardens behind one tree in the midst, eating swine's flesh, and the abomination, and the mouse, shall be consumed together, says the LORD.
66:18 「わたしは彼らのわざと、彼らの思いとを知っている。わたしは来て、すべての国民と、もろもろのやからとを集める。彼らは来て、わが栄光を見る。
66:18 For I know their works and their thoughts: it shall come, that I will gather all nations and tongues; and they shall come, and see my glory.
66:19 わたしは彼らの中に一つのしるしを立てて、のがれた者をもろもろの国、すなわちタルシシ、よく弓をひくプトおよびルデ、トバル、ヤワン、またわが名声を聞かず、わが栄光を見ない遠くの海沿いの国々につかわす。彼らはわが栄光をもろもろの国民の中に伝える。
66:19 And I will set a sign among them, and I will send those that escape of them unto the nations, to Tarshish, Pul, and Lud, that draw the bow, to Tubal, and Javan, to the isles far off, that have not heard my fame, neither have seen my glory; and they shall declare my glory among the Gentiles.
66:20 彼らはイスラエルの子らが清い器に供え物を盛って主の宮に携えて来るように、あなたがたの兄弟をことごとくもろもろの国の中から馬、車、かご、騾馬、らくだに乗せて、わが聖なる山エルサレムにこさせ、主の供え物とする」と主は言われる。
66:20 And they shall bring all your brethren for an offering unto the LORD out of all nations upon horses, and in chariots, and in litters, and upon mules, and upon swift beasts, to my holy mountain Jerusalem, says the LORD, as the children of Israel bring an offering in a clean vessel into the house of the LORD.
66:21 「わたしはまた彼らの中から人を選んで祭司とし、レビびととする」と主は言われる。
66:21 And I will also take of them for priests and for Levites, says the LORD.
66:22 「わたしが造ろうとする新しい天と、新しい地が／わたしの前にながくとどまるように、あなたの子孫と、あなたの名は／ながくとどまる」と主は言われる。
66:22 For as the new heavens and the new earth, which I will make, shall remain before me, says the LORD, so shall your seed and your name remain.
66:23 「新月ごとに、安息日ごとに、すべての人はわが前に来て礼拝する」と／主は言われる。
66:23 And it shall come to pass, that from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, shall all flesh come to worship before me, says the LORD.
66:24 「彼らは出て、わたしにそむいた人々のしかばねを見る。そのうじは死なず、その火は消えることがない。彼らはすべての人に忌みきらわれる」。
66:24 And they shall go forth, and look upon the carcasses of the men that have transgressed against me: for their worm shall not die, neither shall their fire be quenched; and they shall be an abhorring unto all flesh.
