39:1 Disse eu: Guardarei os meus caminhos para não pecar com a minha língua; guardarei a minha boca com uma mordaça, enquanto o ímpio estiver diante de mim.
39:1 I said, I will take heed to my ways, that I sin not with my tongue: I will keep my mouth with a bridle, while the wicked is before me.
39:2 Com silêncio fiquei qual um mundo; calava-me mesmo acerca do bem; mas a minha dor se agravou.
39:2 I was dumb with silence, I held my peace, even from good; and my sorrow was stirred.
39:3 Escandesceu-se dentro de mim o meu coração; enquanto eu meditava acendeu-se o fogo; então com a minha língua, dizendo;
39:3 My heart was hot within me, while I was musing the fire burned: then spoke I with my tongue,
39:4 Faze-me conhecer, ó Senhor, o meu fim, e qual a medida dos meus dias, para que eu saiba quão frágil sou.
39:4 LORD, make me to know mine end, and the measure of my days, what it is: that I may know how frail I am.
39:5 Eis que mediste os meus dias a palmos; o tempo da minha vida é como que nada diante de ti. Na verdade, todo homem, por mais firme que esteja, é totalmente vaidade.
39:5 Behold, you have made my days as an handbreadth; and mine age is as nothing before you: verily every man at his best state is altogether vanity. Selah.
39:6 Na verdade, todo homem anda qual uma sombra; na verdade, em vão se inquieta, amontoa riquezas, e não sabe quem as levará.
39:6 Surely every man walks in a vain show: surely they are disquieted in vain: he heaps up riches, and knows not who shall gather them.
39:7 Agora, pois, Senhor, que espero eu? a minha esperança está em ti.
39:7 And now, Lord, what wait I for? my hope is in you.
39:8 Livra-me de todas as minhas transgressões; não me faças o opróbrio do insensato.
39:8 Deliver me from all my transgressions: make me not the reproach of the foolish.
39:9 Emudecido estou, não abro a minha boca; pois tu és que agiste,
39:9 I was dumb, I opened not my mouth; because you did it.
39:10 Tira de sobre mim o teu flagelo; estou desfalecido pelo golpe da tua mão.
39:10 Remove your stroke away from me: I am consumed by the blow of yours hand.
39:11 Quando com repreensões castigas o homem por causa da iniquidade, destróis, como traça, o que ele tem de precioso; na verdade todo homem é vaidade.
39:11 When you with rebukes do correct man for iniquity, you make his beauty to consume away like a moth: surely every man is vanity. Selah.
39:12 Ouve, Senhor, a minha oração, e inclina os teus ouvidos ao meu clamor; não te cales perante as minhas lágrimas, porque sou para contigo como um estranho, um peregrino como todos os meus pais.
39:12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear unto my cry; hold not your peace at my tears: for I am a stranger with you, and a sojourner, as all my fathers were.
39:13 Desvia de mim o teu olhar, para que eu tome alento, antes que me vá e não exista mais.
39:13 O spare me, that I may recover strength, before I go behind, and be no more.

40:1 Esperei com paciência pelo Senhor, e ele se inclinou para mim e ouviu o meu clamor.
40:1 I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
40:2 Também me tirou duma cova de destruição, dum charco de lodo; pôs os meus pés sobre uma rocha, firmou os meus passos.
40:2 He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my activities.
40:3 Pôs na minha boca um cântico novo, um hino ao nosso Deus; muitos verão isso e temerão, e confiarão no Senhor.
40:3 And he has put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
40:4 Bem-aventurado o homem que faz do Senhor a sua confiança, e que não atenta para os soberbos nem para os apóstatas mentirosos.
40:4 Blessed is that man that makes the LORD his trust, and respects not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
40:5 Muitas são, Senhor, Deus meu, as maravilhas que tens operado e os teus pensamentos para conosco; ninguém há que se possa comparar a ti; eu quisera anunciá-los, e manifestá-los, mas são mais do que se podem contar.
40:5 Many, O LORD my God, are your wonderful works which you have done, and your thoughts which are toward us: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto you: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered.
40:6 Sacrifício e oferta não desejas; abriste-me os ouvidos; holocauto e oferta de expiação pelo pecado não reclamaste.
40:6 Sacrifice and offering you did not desire; mine ears have you opened: burnt offering and sin offering have you not required.
40:7 Então disse eu: Eis aqui venho; no rolo do livro está escrito a meu respeito:
40:7 Then said I, Lo, I come: in the volume of the book it is written of me,
40:8 Deleito-me em fazer a tua vontade, ó Deus meu; sim, a tua lei está dentro do meu coração.
40:8 I delight to do your will, O my God: yea, your law is within my heart.
40:9 Tenho proclamado boas-novas de justiça na grande congregação; eis que não retive os meus lábios;
40:9 I have preached righteousness in the great congregation: lo, I have not refrained my lips, O LORD, you know.
40:10 Não ocultei dentro do meu coração a tua justiça; apregoei a tua fidelidade e a tua salvação; não escondi da grande congregação a tua benignidade e a tua verdade.
40:10 I have not hid your righteousness within my heart; I have declared your faithfulness and your salvation: I have not concealed your loving kindness and your truth from the great congregation.
40:11 Não detenhas para comigo, Senhor a tua compaixão; a tua benignidade e a tua fidelidade sempre me guardem.
40:11 Withhold not you your tender mercies from me, O LORD: let your loving kindness and your truth continually preserve me.
40:12 Pois males sem número me têm rodeado; as minhas iniqüidades me têm alcançado, de modo que não posso ver; são mais numerosas do que os cabelos da minha cabeça, pelo que desfalece o meu coração.
40:12 For innumerable evils have compassed me about: mine iniquities have taken hold upon me, so that I am not able to look up; they are more than the hairs of mine head: therefore my heart fails me.
40:13 Digna-te, Senhor, livra-me; Senhor, apressa-te em meu auxílio.
40:13 Be pleased, O LORD, to deliver me: O LORD, make haste to help me.
40:14 Sejam r uma envergonhados e confundidos os que buscam a minha vida para destruí-la; tornem atrás e confundam-se os que me desejam o mal.
40:14 Let them be ashamed and confounded together that seek after my soul to destroy it; let them be driven backward and put to shame that wish me evil.
40:15 Desolados sejam em razão da sua afronta os que me dizem: Ah! Ah!
40:15 Let them be desolate for a reward of their shame that say unto me, Aha, aha.
40:16 Regozijem-se e alegrem-se em ti todos os que te buscam. Digam continuamente os que amam a tua salvação: Engrandecido seja o Senhor.
40:16 Let all those that seek you rejoice and be glad in you: let such as love your salvation say continually, The LORD be magnified.
40:17 Eu, na verdade, sou pobre e necessitado, mas o Senhor cuida de mim. Tu és o meu auxílio e o meu libertador; não te detenhas, ó Deus meu.
40:17 But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinks upon me: you are my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God.

41:1 Bem-aventurado é aquele que considera o pobre; o Senhor o livrará no dia do mal.
41:1 Blessed is he that considers the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.
41:2 O Senhor o guardará, e o conservará em vida; será abençoado na terra; tu, Senhor não o entregarás r vontade dos seus inimigos.
41:2 The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and you will not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.
41:3 O Senhor o sustentará no leito da enfermidade; tu lhe amaciarás a cama na sua doença.
41:3 The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: you will make all his bed in his sickness.
41:4 Disse eu da minha parte: Senhor, compadece-te de mim, sara a minha alma, pois pequei contra ti.
41:4 I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against you.
41:5 Os meus inimigos falam mal de mim, dizendo: Quando morrerá ele, e perecerá o seu nome?
41:5 Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?
41:6 E, se algum deles vem ver-me, diz falsidades; no seu coração amontoa a maldade; e quando ele sai, é disso que fala.
41:6 And if he comes to see me, he speaks vanity: his heart gathers iniquity to itself; when he goes abroad, he tells it.
41:7 Todos os que me odeiam cochicham entre si contra mim; contra mim maquinam o mal, dizendo:
41:7 All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.
41:8 Alguma coisa ruim se lhe apega; e agora que está deitado, não se levantará mais.
41:8 An evil disease, say they, cleaves fast unto him: and now that he lies he shall rise up no more.
41:9 Até o meu próprio amigo íntimo em quem eu tanto confiava, e que comia do meu pão, levantou contra mim o seu calcanhar.
41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
41:10 Mas tu, Senhor, compadece-te de mim e levanta-me, para que eu lhes retribua.
41:10 But you, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.
41:11 Por isso conheço eu que te deleitas em mim, por não triunfar de mim o meu inimigo
41:11 By this I know that you favour me, because mine enemy does not triumph over me.
41:12 Quanto a mim, tu me sustentas na minha integridade, e me colocas diante da tua face para sempre.
41:12 And as for me, you uphold me in mine integrity, and set me before your face for ever.
41:13 Bendito seja o Senhor Deus de Israel de eternidade a eternidade. Amém e amém.
41:13 Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.

42:1 Como o cervo anseia pelas correntes das águas, assim a minha alma anseia por ti, ó Deus!
42:1 As the hart pants after the water brooks, so pants my soul after you, O God.
42:2 A minha alma tem sede de Deus, do Deus vivo; quando entrarei e verei a face de Deus?
42:2 My soul thirsts for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?
42:3 As minhas lágrimas têm sido o meu alimento de dia e de noite, porquanto se me diz constantemente: Onde está o teu Deus?
42:3 My tears have been my food day and night, while they continually say unto me, Where is your God?
42:4 Dentro de mim derramo a minha alma ao lembrar-me de como eu ia com a multidão, guiando-a em procissão r casa de Deus, com brados de júbilo e louvor, uma multidão que festejava.
42:4 When I remember these things, I pour out my soul in me: for I had gone with the multitude, I went with them to the house of God, with the voice of joy and praise, with a multitude that kept holyday.
42:5 Por que estás abatida, ó minha alma, e por que te perturbas dentro de mim? Espera em Deus, pois ainda o louvarei pela salvação que há na sua presença.
42:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted in me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.
42:6 Ó Deus meu, dentro de mim a minha alma está abatida; porquanto me lembrarei de ti desde a terra do Jordão, e desde o Hermom, desde o monte Mizar.
42:6 O my God, my soul is cast down within me: therefore will I remember you from the land of Jordan, and of the Hermonites, from the hill Mizar.
42:7 Um abismo chama outro abismo ao ruído das tuas catadupas; todas as tuas tuas ondas e vagas têm passado sobre mim.
42:7 Deep calls unto deep at the noise of your waterspouts: all your waves and your billows are gone over me.
42:8 Contudo, de dia o Senhor ordena a sua bondade, e de noite a sua canção está comigo, uma oração ao Deus da minha vida.
42:8 Yet the LORD will command his loving kindness in the day time, and in the night his song shall be with me, and my prayer unto the God of my life.
42:9 A Deus, a minha rocha, digo: Por que te esqueceste de mim? por que ando em pranto por causa da opressão do inimigo?
42:9 I will say unto God my rock, Why have you forgotten me? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
42:10 Como com ferida mortal nos meus ossos me afrontam os meus adversários, dizendo-me continuamente: Onde está o teu Deus?
42:10 As with a sword in my bones, mine enemies reproach me; while they say daily unto me, Where is your God?
42:11 Por que estás abatida, ó minha alma, e por que te perturbas dentro de mim? Espera em Deus, pois ainda o louvarei, a ele que é o meu socorro, e o meu Deus.
42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

43:1 Faze-me justiça, ó Deus, e pleiteia a minha causa contra uma nação ímpia; livra-me do homem fraudulento e iníquo.
43:1 Judge me, O God, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: O deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
43:2 Pois tu és o Deus da minha fortaleza; por que me rejeitaste? por que ando em pranto por causa da opressão do inimigo?
43:2 For you are the God of my strength: why do you cast me off? why go I mourning because of the oppression of the enemy?
43:3 Envia a tua luz e a tua verdade, para que me guiem; levem-me elas ao teu santo monte, e r tua habitação.
43:3 O send out your light and your truth: let them lead me; let them bring me unto your holy hill, and to your tabernacles.
43:4 Então irei ao altar de Deus, a Deus, que é a minha grande alegria; e ao som da harpa te louvarei, ó Deus, Deus meu.
43:4 Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: yea, upon the harp will I praise you, O God my God.
43:5 Por que estás abatida, ó minha alma? e por que te perturbas dentro de mim? Espera em Deus, pois ainda o louvarei, a ele que é o meu socorro, e o meu Deus.
43:5 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted within me? hope in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.

44:1 Ó Deus, nós ouvimos com os nossos ouvidos, nossos pais nos têm contado os feitos que realizaste em seus dias, nos tempos da antigüidade.
44:1 We have heard with our ears, O God, our fathers have told us, what work you did in their days, in the times of old.
44:2 Tu expeliste as nações com a tua mão, mas a eles plantaste; afligiste os povos, mas a eles estendes-te largamente.
44:2 How you did drive out the heathen with your hand, and planted them; how you did afflict the people, and cast them out.
44:3 Pois não foi pela sua espada que conquistaram a terra, nem foi o seu braço que os salvou, mas a tua destra e o teu braço, e a luz do teu rosto, porquanto te agradaste deles.
44:3 For they got not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but your right hand, and yours arm, and the light of your countenance, because you had a favour unto them.
44:4 Tu és o meu Rei, ó Deus; ordena livramento para Jacó.
44:4 You are my King, O God: command deliverances for Jacob.
44:5 Por ti derrubamos os nossos adversários; pelo teu nome pisamos os que se levantam contra nós.
44:5 Through you will we push down our enemies: through your name will we tread them under that rise up against us.
44:6 Pois não confio no meu arco, nem a minha espada me pode salvar.
44:6 For I will not trust in my bow, neither shall my sword save me.
44:7 Mas tu nos salvaste dos nossos adversários, e confundiste os que nos odeiam.
44:7 But you have saved us from our enemies, and have put them to shame that hated us.
44:8 Em Deus é que nos temos gloriado o dia todo, e sempre louvaremos o teu nome.
44:8 In God we boast all the day long, and praise your name for ever. Selah.
44:9 Mas agora nos rejeitaste e nos humilhaste, e não sais com os nossos exércitos.
44:9 But you have cast off, and put us to shame; and go not forth with our armies.
44:10 Fizeste-nos voltar as costas ao inimigo e aqueles que nos odeiam nos despojam r vontade.
44:10 You make us to turn back from the enemy: and they which hate us spoil for themselves.
44:11 Entregaste-nos como ovelhas para alimento, e nos espalhaste entre as nações.
44:11 You have given us like sheep appointed for food; and have scattered us among the heathen.
44:12 Vendeste por nada o teu povo, e não lucraste com o seu preço.
44:12 You sell your people for nothing, and do not increase your wealth by their price.
44:13 Puseste-nos por opróbrio aos nossos vizinhos, por escárnio e zombaria rqueles que estão r roda de nós.
44:13 You make us a reproach to our neighbours, a scorn and a derision to them that are round about us.
44:14 Puseste-nos por provérbio entre as nações, por ludíbrio entre os povos.
44:14 You make us a byword among the heathen, a shaking of the head among the people.
44:15 A minha ignomínia está sempre diante de mim, e a vergonha do meu rosto me cobre,
44:15 My confusion is continually before me, and the shame of my face has covered me,
44:16 r voz daquele que afronta e blasfema, r vista do inimigo e do vingador.
44:16 For the voice of him that reproaches and blasphemes; by reason of the enemy and avenger.
44:17 Tudo isto nos sobreveio; todavia não nos esquecemos de ti, nem nos houvemos falsamente contra o teu pacto.
44:17 All this has come upon us; yet have we not forgotten you, neither have we dealt falsely in your covenant.
44:18 O nosso coração não voltou atrás, nem os nossos passos se desviaram das tuas veredas,
44:18 Our heart is not turned back, neither have our steps declined from your way;
44:19 para nos teres esmagado onde habitam os chacais, e nos teres coberto de trevas profundas.
44:19 Though you have sore broken us in the place of dragons, and covered us with the shadow of death.
44:20 Se nos tivéssemos esquecido do nome do nosso Deus, e estendido as nossas mãos para um deus estranho,
44:20 If we have forgotten the name of our God, or stretched out our hands to a strange god;
44:21 porventura Deus não haveria de esquadrinhar isso? pois ele conhece os segredos do coração.
44:21 Shall not God search this out? for he knows the secrets of the heart.
44:22 Mas por amor de ti somos entregues r morte o dia todo; somos considerados como ovelhas para o matadouro.
44:22 Yea, for your sake are we killed all the day long; we are counted as sheep for the slaughter.
44:23 Desperta! por que dormes, Senhor? Acorda! não nos rejeites para sempre.
44:23 Awake, why sleep you, O Lord? arise, cast us not off for ever.
44:24 Por que escondes o teu rosto, e te esqueces da nossa tribulação e da nossa angústia?
44:24 Wherefore hide you your face, and forget our affliction and our oppression?
44:25 Pois a nossa alma está abatida até o pó; o nosso corpo pegado ao chão.
44:25 For our soul is bowed down to the dust: our belly cleaves unto the earth.
44:26 Levanta-te em nosso auxílio, e resgata-nos por tua benignidade.
44:26 Arise for our help, and redeem us for your mercies' sake.

45:1 O meu coração trasborda de boas palavras; dirijo os meus versos ao rei; a minha língua é qual pena de um hábil escriba.
45:1 My heart is composing a good matter: I speak of the things which I have made concerning the king: my tongue is the pen of a ready writer.
45:2 Tu és o mais formoso dos filhos dos homens; a graça se derramou nos teus lábios; por isso Deus te abençoou para sempre.
45:2 You are fairer than the children of men: grace is poured into your lips: therefore God has blessed you for ever.
45:3 Cinge a tua espada r coxa, ó valente, na tua glória e majestade.
45:3 Gird your sword upon your thigh, O most mighty, with your glory and your majesty.
45:4 E em tua majestade cavalga vitoriosamente pela causa da verdade, da mansidão e da justiça, e a tua destra te ensina coisas terríveis.
45:4 And in your majesty ride prosperously because of truth and meekness and righteousness; and your right hand shall teach you terrible things.
45:5 As tuas flechas são agudas no coração dos inimigos do rei; os povos caem debaixo de ti.
45:5 Yours arrows are sharp in the heart of the king's enemies; whereby the people fall under you.
45:6 O teu trono, ó Deus, subsiste pelos séculos dos séculos; cetro de eqüidade é o cetro do teu reino.
45:6 Your throne, O God, is for ever and ever: the sceptre of your kingdom is a right sceptre.
45:7 Amaste a justiça e odiaste a iniqüidade; por isso Deus, o teu Deus, te ungiu com óleo de alegria, mais do que a teus companheiros.
45:7 You love righteousness, and hate wickedness: therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of gladness above your fellows.
45:8 Todas as tuas vestes cheiram a mirra a aloés e a cássia; dos palácios de marfim os instrumentos de cordas e te alegram.
45:8 All your garments smell of myrrh, and aloes, and cassia, out of the ivory palaces, whereby they have made you glad.
45:9 Filhas de reis estão entre as tuas ilustres donzelas; r tua mão direita está a rainha, ornada de ouro de Ofir.
45:9 Kings' daughters were among your honourable women: upon your right hand did stand the queen in gold of Ophir.
45:10 Ouve, filha, e olha, e inclina teus ouvidos; esquece-te do teu povo e da casa de teu pai.
45:10 Hearken, O daughter, and consider, and incline yours ear; forget also yours own people, and your father's house;
45:11 Então o rei se afeiçoará r tua formosura. Ele é teu senhor, presta-lhe, pois, homenagem.
45:11 So shall the king greatly desire your beauty: for he is your Lord; and worship you him.
45:12 A filha de Tiro estará ali com presentes; os ricos do povo suplicarão o teu favor.
45:12 And the daughter of Tyre shall be there with a gift; even the rich among the people shall implore your favour.
45:13 A filha do rei está esplendente lá dentro do palácio; as suas vestes são entretecidas de ouro.
45:13 The king's daughter is all glorious within: her clothing is of wrought gold.
45:14 Em vestidos de cores brilhantes será conduzida ao rei; as virgens, suas companheiras que a seguem, serão trazidas r tua presença.
45:14 She shall be brought unto the king in raiment of needlework: the virgins her companions that follow her shall be brought unto you.
45:15 Com alegria e regozijo serão trazidas; elas entrarão no palácio do rei.
45:15 With gladness and rejoicing shall they be brought: they shall enter into the king's palace.
45:16 Em lugar de teus pais estarão teus filhos; tu os farás príncipes sobre toda a terra.
45:16 Instead of your fathers shall be your children, whom you may make princes in all the earth.
45:17 Farei lembrado o teu nome de geração em geração; pelo que os povos te louvarão eternamente.
45:17 I will make your name to be remembered in all generations: therefore shall the people praise you for ever and ever.

46:1 Deus é o nosso refúgio e fortaleza, socorro bem presente na angústia.
46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
46:2 Pelo que não temeremos, ainda que a terra se mude, e ainda que os montes se projetem para o meio dos mares;
46:2 Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, and though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
46:3 ainda que as águas rujam e espumem, ainda que os montes se abalem pela sua braveza.
46:3 Though the waters thereof roar and be troubled, though the mountains shake with the swelling thereof. Selah.
46:4 Há um rio cujas correntes alegram a cidade de Deus, o lugar santo das moradas do Altíssimo.
46:4 There is a river, the streams whereof shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the most High.
46:5 Deus está no meio dela; não será abalada; Deus a ajudará desde o raiar da alva.
46:5 God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early.
46:6 Bramam nações, reinos se abalam; ele levanta a sua voz, e a terra se derrete.
46:6 The heathen raged, the kingdoms were moved: he uttered his voice, the earth melted.
46:7 O Senhor dos exércitos está conosco; o Deus de Jacó é o nosso refúgio.
46:7 The LORD of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah.
46:8 Vinde contemplai as obras do Senhor, as desolações que tem feito na terra.
46:8 Come, behold the works of the LORD, what desolations he has made in the earth.
46:9 Ele faz cessar as guerras até os confins da terra; quebra o arco e corta a lança; queima os carros no fogo.
46:9 He makes wars to cease unto the end of the earth; he breaks the bow, and cuts the spear in two; he burns the chariot in the fire.
46:10 Aquietai-vos, e sabei que eu sou Deus; sou exaltado entre as nações, sou exaltado na terra.
46:10 Be still, and know that I am God: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

47:2 Porque o Senhor Altíssimo é tremendo; é grande Rei sobre toda a terra.
47:2 For the LORD most high is terrible; he is a great King over all the earth.
47:3 Ele nos sujeitou povos e nações sob os nossos pés.
47:3 He shall subdue the people under us, and the nations under our feet.
47:4 Escolheu para nós a nossa herança, a glória de Jacó, a quem amou.
47:4 He shall choose our inheritance for us, the excellency of Jacob whom he loved. Selah.
47:5 Deus subiu entre aplausos, o Senhor subiu ao som de trombeta.
47:5 God is gone up with a shout, the LORD with the sound of a trumpet.
47:6 Cantai louvores a Deus, cantai louvores; cantai louvores ao nosso Rei, cantai louvores.
47:6 Sing praises to God, sing praises: sing praises unto our King, sing praises.
47:7 Pois Deus é o Rei de toda a terra; cantai louvores com salmo.
47:7 For God is the King of all the earth: sing all of you praises with understanding.

47:9 The princes of the people are gathered together, even the people of the God of Abraham: for the shields of the earth belong unto God: he is greatly exalted.

48:1 Great is the LORD, and greatly to be praised in the city of our God, in the mountain of his holiness.
48:2 De bela e alta situação, alegria de toda terra é o monte Sião aos lados do norte, a cidade do grande Rei.
48:2 Beautiful for situation, the joy of the whole earth, is mount Zion, on the sides of the north, the city of the great King.
48:3 Nos palácios dela Deus se fez conhecer como alto refúgio.
48:3 God is known in her palaces for a refuge.
48:4 Pois eis que os reis conspiraram; juntos vieram chegando.
48:4 For, lo, the kings were assembled, they passed by together.
48:5 Viram-na, e então ficaram maravilhados; ficaram assombrados e se apressaram em fugir.
48:5 They saw it, and so they marvelled; they were troubled, and hasted away.
48:6 Aí se apoderou deles o tremor, sentiram dores como as de uma parturiente.
48:6 Fear took hold upon them there, and pain, as of a woman in travail.
48:7 Com um vento oriental quebraste as naus de Társis.
48:7 You break the ships of Tarshish with an east wind.
48:8 Como temos ouvido, assim vimos na cidade do Senhor dos exércitos, na cidade do nosso Deus; Deus a estabelece para sempre.
48:8 As we have heard, so have we seen in the city of the LORD of hosts, in the city of our God: God will establish it for ever. Selah.
48:9 Temos meditado, ó Deus, na tua benignidade no meio do teu templo.
48:9 We have thought of your loving kindness, O God, in the midst of your temple.
48:10 Como é o teu nome, ó Deus, assim é o teu louvor até os confins da terra; de retidão está cheia a tua destra.
48:10 According to your name, O God, so is your praise unto the ends of the earth: your right hand is full of righteousness.
48:11 Alegre-se o monte Sião, regozijem-se as filhas de Judá, por causa dos teus juízos.
48:11 Let mount Zion rejoice, let the daughters of Judah be glad, because of your judgments.
48:12 Dai voltas a Sião, ide ao redor dela; contai as suas torres.
48:12 Walk about Zion, and go round about her: tell the towers thereof.
48:13 Notai bem os seus antemuros, percorrei os seus palácios, para que tudo narreis r geração seguinte.
48:13 Mark all of you well her bulwarks, consider her palaces; that all of you may tell it to the generation following.
48:14 Porque este Deus é o nosso Deus para todo o sempre; ele será nosso guia até a morte.
48:14 For this God is our God for ever and ever: he will be our guide even unto death.

49:1 Hear this, all you people; give ear, all you inhabitants of the world:
49:2 quer humildes quer grandes, tanto ricos como pobres.
49:2 Both low and high, rich and poor, together.
49:3 A minha boca falará a sabedoria, e a meditação do meu coração será de entendimento.
49:3 My mouth shall speak of wisdom; and the meditation of my heart shall be of understanding.
49:4 Inclinarei os meus ouvidos a uma parábola; decifrarei o meu enigma ao som da harpa.
49:4 I will incline mine ear to a parable: I will open my dark saying upon the harp.
49:5 Por que temeria eu nos dias da adversidade, ao cercar-me a iniqüidade dos meus perseguidores,
49:5 Wherefore should I fear in the days of evil, when the iniquity of my heels shall compass me about?
49:6 dos que confiam nos seus bens e se gloriam na multidão das suas riquezas?
49:6 They that trust in their wealth, and boast themselves in the multitude of their riches;
49:7 Nenhum deles de modo algum pode remir a seu irmão, nem por ele dar um resgate a Deus,
49:7 None of them can by any means redeem his brother, nor give to God a ransom for him:
49:8 (pois a redenção da sua vida é caríssima, de sorte que os seus recursos não dariam;)
49:8 (For the redemption of their soul is precious, and it ceases for ever:)
49:9 para que continuasse a viver para sempre, e não visse a cova.
49:9 That he should still live for ever, and not see corruption.
49:10 Sim, ele verá que até os sábios morrem, que perecem igualmente o néscio e o estúpido, e deixam a outros os seus bens.
49:10 For he sees that wise men die, likewise the fool and the brutish person perish, and leave their wealth to others.
49:11 O pensamento íntimo deles é que as suas casas são perpétuas e as suas habitações de geração em geração; dão rs suas terras os seus próprios nomes.
49:11 Their inward thought is, that their houses shall continue for ever, and their dwelling places to all generations; they call their lands after their own names.
49:12 Mas o homem, embora esteja em honra, não permanece; antes é como os animais que perecem.
49:12 Nevertheless man being in honour abides not: he is like the beasts that perish.

49:13 This their way is their folly: yet their posterity approve their sayings. Selah.
49:14 Como ovelhas são arrebanhados ao Seol; a morte os pastoreia; ao romper do dia os retos terão domínio sobre eles; e a sua formosura se consumirá no Seol, que lhes será por habitação.
49:14 Like sheep they are laid in the grave; death shall feed on them; and the upright shall have dominion over them in the morning; and their beauty shall consume in the grave from their dwelling.
49:15 Mas Deus remirá a minha alma do poder do Seol, pois me receberá.
49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
49:16 Não temas quando alguém se enriquece, quando a glória da sua casa aumenta.
49:16 Be not you afraid when one is made rich, when the glory of his house is increased;
49:17 Pois, quando morrer, nada levará consigo; a sua glória não descerá após ele.
49:17 For when he dies he shall carry nothing away: his glory shall not descend after him.

49:18 Though while he lived he blessed his soul: and men will praise you, when you do well to yourself.

50:1 O Poderoso, o Senhor Deus, fala e convoca a terra desde o nascer do sol até o seu ocaso.
50:1 The mighty God, even the LORD, has spoken, and called the earth from the rising of the sun unto the going down thereof.
50:2 Desde Sião, a perfeição da formosura. Deus resplandece.
50:2 Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God has shined.
50:3 O nosso Deus vem, e não guarda silêncio; diante dele há um fogo devorador, e grande tormenta ao seu redor.
50:3 Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: a fire shall devour before him, and it shall be very tempestuous round about him.
50:4 Ele intima os altos céus e a terra, para o julgamento do seu povo:
50:4 He shall call to the heavens from above, and to the earth, that he may judge his people.
50:5 Congregai os meus santos, aqueles que fizeram comigo um pacto por meio de sacrifícios.
50:5 Gather my saints together unto me; those that have made a covenant with me by sacrifice.
50:6 Os céus proclamam a justiça dele, pois Deus mesmo é Juiz.
50:6 And the heavens shall declare his righteousness: for God is judge himself. Selah.
50:7 Ouve, povo meu, e eu falarei; ouve, ó Israel, e eu te protestarei: Eu sou Deus, o teu Deus.
50:7 Hear, O my people, and I will speak; O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, even your God.
50:8 Não te repreendo pelos teus sacrifícios, pois os teus holocaustos estão de contínuo perante mim.
50:8 I will not reprove you for your sacrifices or your burnt offerings, to have been continually before me.
50:9 Da tua casa não aceitarei novilho, nem bodes dos teus currais.
50:9 I will take no bullock out of your house, nor he goats out of your folds.
50:10 Porque meu é todo animal da selva, e o gado sobre milhares de outeiros.
50:10 For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills.
50:11 Conheço todas as aves dos montes, e tudo o que se move no campo é meu.
50:11 I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine.
50:12 Se eu tivesse fome, não to diria pois meu é o mundo e a sua plenitude.
50:12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you: for the world is mine, and the fullness thereof.
50:13 Comerei eu carne de touros? ou beberei sangue de bodes?
50:13 Will I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
50:14 Oferece a Deus por sacrifício ações de graças, e paga ao Altíssimo os teus votos;
50:14 Offer unto God thanksgiving; and pay your vows unto the most High:
50:15 e invoca-me no dia da angústia; eu te livrarei, e tu me glorificarás.
50:15 And call upon me in the day of trouble: I will deliver you, and you shall glorify me.
50:16 Mas ao ímpio diz Deus: Que fazes tu em recitares os meus estatutos, e em tomares o meu pacto na tua boca,
50:16 But unto the wicked God says, What have you to do to declare my statutes, or that you should take my covenant in your mouth?
50:17 visto que aborreces a correção, e lanças as minhas palavras para trás de ti?
50:17 Seeing you hate instruction, and casts my words behind you.
50:18 Quando vês um ladrão, tu te comprazes nele; e tens parte com os adúlteros.
50:18 When you saw a thief, then you consented with him, and have been partaker with adulterers.
50:19 Soltas a tua boca para o mal, e a tua língua trama enganos.
50:19 You give your mouth to evil, and your tongue frames deceit.
50:20 Tu te sentas a falar contra teu irmão; difamas o filho de tua mãe.
50:20 You sit and speak against your brother; you slander yours own mother's son.
50:21 Estas coisas tens feito, e eu me calei; pensavas que na verdade eu era como tu; mas eu te argüirei, e tudo te porei r vista.
50:21 These things have you done, and I kept silence; you thought that I was altogether such an one as yourself: but I will reprove you, and set them in order before yours eyes.
50:22 Considerai pois isto, vós que vos esqueceis de Deus, para que eu não vos despedace, sem que haja quem vos livre.
50:22 Now consider this, all of you that forget God, lest I tear you in pieces, and there be none to deliver.
50:23 Aquele que oferece por sacrifício ações de graças me glorifica; e rquele que bem ordena o seu caminho eu mostrarei a salvação de Deus.
50:23 Whoso offers praise glorifies me: and to him that orders his conversation aright will I show the salvation of God.

51:1 Compadece-te de mim, ó Deus, segundo a tua benignidade; apaga as minhas tansgressões, segundo a multidão das tuas misericórdias.
51:1 Have mercy upon me, O God, according to your loving kindness: according unto the multitude of your tender mercies blot out my transgressions.
51:2 Lava-me completamente da minha iniqüidade, e purifica-me do meu pecado.
51:2 Wash me thoroughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
51:3 Pois eu conheço as minhas transgressões, e o meu pecado está sempre diante de mim.
51:3 For I acknowledge my transgressions: and my sin is ever before me.
51:4 Contra ti, contra ti somente, pequei, e fiz o que é mau diante dos teus olhos; de sorte que és justificado em falares, e inculpável em julgares.
51:4 Against you, you only, have I sinned, and done this evil in your sight: that you might be justified when you speak, and be clear when you judge.
51:5 Eis que eu nasci em iniqüidade, e em pecado me concedeu minha mãe.
51:5 Behold, I was formed in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.
51:6 Eis que desejas que a verdade esteja no íntimo; faze-me, pois, conhecer a sabedoria no secreto da minha alma.
51:6 Behold, you desire truth in the inward parts: and in the hidden part you shall make me to know wisdom.
51:7 Purifica-me com hissopo, e ficarei limpo; lava-me, e ficarei mais alvo do que a neve.
51:7 Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean: wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
51:8 Faze-me ouvir júbilo e alegria, para que se regozijem os ossos que esmagaste.
51:8 Make me to hear joy and gladness; that the bones which you have broken may rejoice.
51:9 Esconde o teu rosto dos meus pecados, e apaga todas as minhas iniqüidades.
51:9 Hide your face from my sins, and blot out all mine iniquities.
51:10 Cria em mim, ó Deus, um coração puro, e renova em mim um espírito estável.
51:10 Create in me a clean heart, O God; and renew a right spirit within me.
51:11 Não me lances fora da tua presença, e não retire de mim o teu santo Espírito.
51:11 Cast me not away from your presence; and take not your holy spirit from me.
51:12 Restitui-me a alegria da tua salvação, e sustém-me com um espírito voluntário.
51:12 Restore unto me the joy of your salvation; and uphold me with your free spirit.
51:13 Então ensinarei aos transgressores os teus caminhos, e pecadores se converterão a ti.
51:13 Then will I teach transgressors your ways; and sinners shall be converted unto you.
51:14 Livra-me dos crimes de sangue, ó Deus, Deus da minha salvação, e a minha língua cantará alegremente a tua justiça.
51:14 Deliver me from blood guiltiness, O God, you God of my salvation: and my tongue shall sing aloud of your righteousness.
51:15 Abre, Senhor, os meus lábios, e a minha boca proclamará o teu louvor.
51:15 O Lord, open you my lips; and my mouth shall show forth your praise.
51:16 Pois tu não te comprazes em sacrifícios; se eu te oferecesse holocaustos, tu não te deleitarias.
51:16 For you desire not sacrifice; else would I give it: you delight not in burnt offering.
51:17 O sacrifício aceitável a Deus é o espírito quebrantado; ao coração quebrantado e contrito não desprezarás, ó Deus.
51:17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit: a broken and a contrite heart, O God, you will not despise.
51:18 Faze o bem a Sião, segundo a tua boa vontade; edifica os muros de Jerusalém.
51:18 Do good in your good pleasure unto Zion: build you the walls of Jerusalem.
51:19 Então te agradarás de sacrifícios de justiça dos holocaustos e das ofertas queimadas; então serão oferecidos novilhos sobre o teu altar.
51:19 Then shall you be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering: then shall they offer bullocks upon yours altar.

52:2 A tua língua maquina planos de destruição, como uma navalha afiada, ó tu que usas de dolo.
52:2 The tongue devises evil; like a sharp razor, working deceitfully.
52:3 Tu amas antes o mal do que o bem, e o mentir do que o falar a verdade.
52:3 You love evil more than good; and lying rather than to speak righteousness. Selah.

52:4 You love all devouring words, O you deceitful tongue.
52:5 Também Deus te esmagará para sempre; arrebatar-te-á e arrancar-te-á da tua habitação, e desarraigar-te-á da terra dos viventes.
52:5 God shall likewise destroy you for ever, he shall take you away, and pluck you out of your dwelling place, and root you out of the land of the living. Selah.
52:6 Os justos o verão e temerão; e se rirão dele, dizendo:
52:6 The righteous also shall see, and fear, and shall laugh at him:
52:7 Eis aqui o homem que não tomou a Deus por sua fortaleza; antes confiava na abundância das suas riquezas, e se fortalecia na sua perversidade.
52:7 Lo, this is the man that made not God his strength; but trusted in the abundance of his riches, and strengthened himself in his wickedness.
52:8 Mas eu sou qual oliveira verde na casa de Deus; confio na bondade de Deus para sempre e eternamente.
52:8 But I am like a green olive tree in the house of God: I trust in the mercy of God for ever and ever.
52:9 Para sempre te louvarei, porque tu isso fizeste, e proclamarei o teu nome, porque é bom diante de teus santos.
52:9 I will praise you for ever, because you have done it: and I will wait on your name; for it is good before your saints.

53:1 Diz o néscio no seu coração: Não há Deus. Corromperam-se e cometeram abominável iniqüidade; não há quem faça o bem.
53:1 The fool has said in his heart, There is no God. Corrupt are they, and have done abominable iniquity: there is none that does good.
53:2 Deus olha lá dos céus para os filhos dos homens, para ver se há algum que tenha entendimento, que busque a Deus.
53:2 God looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, that did seek God.
53:3 Desviaram-se todos, e juntamente se fizeram imundos; não há quem faça o bem, não há sequer um.
53:3 Every one of them is gone back: they are altogether become filthy; there is none that does good, no, not one.
53:4 Acaso não têm conhecimento os que praticam a iniqüidade, os quais comem o meu povo como se comessem pão, e não invocam a Deus?
53:4 Have the workers of iniquity no knowledge? who eat up my people as they eat bread: they have not called upon God.
53:5 Eis que eles se acham em grande pavor onde não há motivo de pavor, porque Deus espalhará os ossos daqueles que se acampam contra ti; tu os confundirás, porque Deus os rejeitou.
53:5 There were they in great fear, where no fear was: for God has scattered the bones of him that camps against you: you have put them to shame, because God has despised them.
53:6 Oxalá que de Sião viesse a salvação de Israel! Quando Deus fizer voltar os cativos do seu povo, então se regozijará Jacó e se alegrará Israel.
53:6 Oh that the salvation of Israel were come out of Zion! When God brings back the captivity of his people, Jacob shall rejoice, and Israel shall be glad.

54:1 Save me, O God, by your name, and judge me by your strength.

54:3 Porque homens insolentes se levantam contra mim, e violentos procuram a minha vida; eles não põem a Deus diante de si.
54:3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.
54:4 Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador; o Senhor é quem sustenta a minha vida.
54:4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

55:1 Give ear to my prayer, O God; and hide not yourself from my supplication.
55:2 Atende-me, e ouve-me; agitado estou, e ando perplexo,
55:2 Attend unto me, and hear me: I mourn in my complaint, and make a noise;
55:3 por causa do clamor do inimigo e da opressão do ímpio; pois lançam sobre mim iniqüidade, e com furor me perseguem.
55:3 Because of the voice of the enemy, because of the oppression of the wicked: for they cast iniquity upon me, and in wrath they hate me.
55:4 O meu coração confrange-se dentro de mim, e terrores de morte sobre mim caíram.
55:4 My heart is sore pained within me: and the terrors of death are fallen upon me.
55:5 Temor e tremor me sobrevêm, e o horror me envolveu.
55:5 Fearfulness and trembling are come upon me, and horror has overwhelmed me.
55:6 Pelo que eu disse: Ah! quem me dera asas como de pomba! então voaria, e encontraria descanso.
55:6 And I said, Oh that I had wings like a dove! for then would I fly away, and be at rest.
55:7 Eis que eu fugiria para longe, e pernoitaria no deserto.
55:7 Lo, then would I wander far off, and remain in the wilderness. Selah.
55:8 Apressar-me-ia a abrigar-me da fúria do vento e da tempestade.
55:8 I would hasten my escape from the windy storm and tempest.
55:9 Destrói, Senhor, confunde as suas línguas, pois vejo violência e contenda na cidade.
55:9 Destroy, O Lord, and divide their tongues: for I have seen violence and strife in the city.

55:10 Day and night they go about it upon the walls thereof: mischief also and sorrow are in the midst of it.
55:11 Há destruição lá dentro; opressão e fraude não se apartam das suas ruas.
55:11 Wickedness is in the midst thereof: deceit and guile depart not from her streets.

55:15 Let death seize upon them, and let them go down quick into hell: for wickedness is in their dwellings, and among them.
55:16 Mas eu invocarei a Deus, e o Senhor me salvará.
55:16 As for me, I will call upon God; and the LORD shall save me.
55:17 De tarde, de manhã e ao meio-dia me queixarei e me lamentarei; e ele ouvirá a minha voz.
55:17 Evening, and morning, and at noon, will I pray, and cry aloud: and he shall hear my voice.
55:18 Livrará em paz a minha vida, de modo que ninguém se aproxime de mim; pois há muitos que contendem contra mim.
55:18 He has delivered my soul in peace from the battle that was against me: for there were many with me.
55:19 Deus ouvirá; e lhes responderá aquele que está entronizado desde a antigüidade; porque não há neles nenhuma mudança, e tampouco temem a Deus.
55:19 God shall hear, and afflict them, even he that abides of old. Selah. Because they have no changes, therefore they fear not God.
55:20 Aquele meu companheiro estendeu a sua mão contra os que tinham paz com ele; violou o seu pacto.
55:20 He has put forth his hands against such as be at peace with him: he has broken his covenant.
55:21 A sua fala era macia como manteiga, mas no seu coração havia guerra; as suas palavras eram mais brandas do que o azeite, todavia eram espadas desembainhadas.
55:21 The words of his mouth were smoother than butter, but war was in his heart: his words were softer than oil, yet were they drawn swords.

55:22 Cast your burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain you: he shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.

56:1 Be merciful unto me, O God: for man would swallow me up; he fighting daily oppresses me.
56:2 Os meus inimigos me calcam aos pés o dia todo, pois são muitos os que insolentemente pelejam contra mim.
56:2 Mine enemies would daily swallow me up: for they be many that fight against me, O you most High.
56:3 No dia em que eu temer, hei de confiar em ti.
56:3 What time I am afraid, I will trust in you.

56:5 Every day they shift my words: all their thoughts are against me for evil.

56:6 They gather themselves together, they hide themselves, they mark my steps, when they wait for my soul.
56:7 Escaparão eles por meio da sua iniqüidade? Ó Deus, derruba os povos na tua ira!
56:7 Shall they escape by iniquity? in yours anger cast down the people, O God.
56:8 Tu contaste as minhas aflições; põe as minhas lágrimas no teu odre; não estão elas no teu livro?
56:8 You tell my wanderings: put you my tears into your bottle: are they not in your book?
56:9 No dia em que eu te invocar retrocederão os meus inimigos; isto eu sei, que Deus está comigo.
56:9 When I cry unto you, then shall mine enemies turn back: this I know; for God is for me.

56:10 In God will I praise his word: in the LORD will I praise his word.

57:1 Be merciful unto me, O God, be merciful unto me: for my soul trusts in you: yea, in the shadow of your wings will I make my refuge, until these calamities pass over.
57:2 Clamarei ao Deus altíssimo, ao Deus que por mim tudo executa.
57:2 I will cry unto God most high; unto God that performs all things for me.
57:3 Ele do céu enviará seu auxílio , e me salvará, quando me ultrajar aquele que quer calçar-me aos pés. Deus enviará a sua misericórdia e a sua verdade.
57:3 He shall send from heaven, and save me from the reproach of him that would swallow me up. Selah. God shall send forth his mercy and his truth.
57:4 Estou deitado no meio de leões; tenho que deitar-me no meio daqueles que respiram chamas, filhos dos homens, cujos dentes são lanças e flechas, e cuja língua é espada afiada.
57:4 My soul is among lions: and I lie even among them that are set on fire, even the sons of men, whose teeth are spears and arrows, and their tongue a sharp sword.

57:5 Be you exalted, O God, above the heavens; let your glory be above all the earth.

58:2 Yea, in heart all of you work wickedness; all of you weigh the violence of your hands in the earth.
58:3 Alienam-se os ímpios desde a madre; andam errados desde que nasceram, proferindo mentiras.
58:3 The wicked are cut off from the womb: they go astray as soon as they be born, speaking lies.
58:4 Têm veneno semelhante ao veneno da serpente; são como a víbora surda, que tapa os seus ouvidos,
58:4 Their poison is like the poison of a serpent: they are like the deaf adder that stops her ear;
58:5 de sorte que não ouve a voz dos encantadores, nem mesmo do encantador perito em encantamento.
58:5 Which will not hearken to the voice of charmers, charming never so wisely.

58:6 Break their teeth, O God, in their mouth: break out the great teeth of the young lions, O LORD.

58:10 The righteous shall rejoice when he sees the vengeance: he shall wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.

59:6 They return at evening: they make a noise like a dog, and go round about the city.

59:7 Behold, they belch out with their mouth: swords are in their lips: for who, say they, does hear?

59:8 But you, O LORD, shall laugh at them; you shall have all the heathen in derision.

64:4 That they may shoot in secret at the perfect: suddenly do they shoot at him, and fear not.
64:5 Firmam-se em mau intento; falam de armar laços secretamente, e dizem: Quem nos verá?
64:5 They encourage themselves in an evil matter: they commune of laying snares privately; they say, Who shall see them?
64:6 Planejam iniqüidades; ocultam planos bem traçados; pois o íntimo e o coração do homem são inescrutáveis.
64:6 They search out iniquities; they accomplish a diligent search: both the inward thought of every one of them, and the heart, is deep.
64:7 Mas Deus disparará sobre eles uma seta, e de repente ficarão feridos.
64:7 But God shall shoot at them with an arrow; suddenly shall they be wounded.
64:8 Assim serão levados a tropeçar, por causa das suas próprias línguas; todos aqueles que os virem fugirão.
64:8 So they shall make their own tongue to fall upon themselves: all that see them shall flee away.
64:9 E todos os homens temerão, e anunciarão a obra de Deus, e considerarão a obra de Deus, e considerarão prudentemente os seus feitos.
64:9 And all men shall fear, and shall declare the work of God; for they shall wisely consider of his doing.

65:5 By terrible things in righteousness will you answer us, O God of our salvation; who are the confidence of all the ends of the earth, and of them that are far off upon the sea:

65:6 Which by his strength sets fast the mountains; being girded with power:
65:7 que aplacas o ruído dos mares, o ruído das suas ondas, e o tumulto dos povos.
65:7 Which stills the noise of the seas, the noise of their waves, and the tumult of the people.
65:8 Os que habitam os confins da terra são tomados de medo r vista dos teus sinais; tu fazes exultar de júbilo as saídas da manhã e da tarde.
65:8 They also that dwell in the uttermost parts are afraid at your tokens: you make the utmost limit of the morning and evening to rejoice.
65:9 Tu visitas a terra, e a regas; grandemente e enriqueces; o rio de Deus está cheio d'água; tu lhe dás o trigo quando assim a tens preparado;
65:9 You visit the earth, and water it: you greatly enrich it with the river of God, which is full of water: you prepare them corn, when you have so provided for it.
65:10 enches d'água os seus sulcos, aplanando-lhes as leivas, amolecendo-a com a chuva, e abençoando as suas novidades.
65:10 You water the ridges thereof abundantly: you settle the furrows thereof: you make it soft with showers: you bless the springing thereof.
65:11 Coroas o ano com a tua bondade, e as tuas veredas destilam gordura;
65:11 You crown the year with your goodness; and your paths drop fatness.
65:12 destilam sobre as pastagens do deserto, e os outeiros se cingem de alegria.
65:12 They drop upon the pastures of the wilderness: and the little hills rejoice on every side.
65:13 As pastagens revestem-se de rebanhos, e os vales se cobrem de trigo; por isso eles se regozijam, por isso eles cantam.
65:13 The pastures are clothed with flocks; the valleys also are covered over with corn; they shout for joy, they also sing.

68:2 Como é impelida a fumaça, assim tu os impeles; como a cera se derrete diante do fogo, assim pereçam os ímpios diante de Deus.
68:2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away: as wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.
68:3 Mas alegrem-se os justos, e se regozijem na presença de Deus, e se encham de júbilo.
68:3 But let the righteous be glad; let them rejoice before God: yea, let them exceedingly rejoice.
68:4 Cantai a Deus, cantai louvores ao seu nome; louvai aquele que cavalga sobre as nuvens, pois o seu nome é Já; exultai diante dele.
68:4 Sing unto God, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name JAH, and rejoice before him.

68:8 The earth shook, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God: even Sinai itself was moved at the presence of God, the God of Israel.
68:9 Tu, ó Deus, mandaste copiosa chuva; restauraste a tua herança, quando estava cansada.
68:9 You, O God, did send a plentiful rain, whereby you did confirm yours inheritance, when it was weary.

68:10 Your congregation has dwelt therein: you, O God, have prepared of your goodness for the poor.

68:16 Por que estás, ó monte de cimos numerosos, olhando com inveja o monte que Deus desejou para sua habitação? Na verdade o Senhor habitará nele eternamente.
68:16 Why leap all of you, all of you high hills? this is the hill which God desires to dwell in; yea, the LORD will dwell in it for ever.
68:17 Os carros de Deus são miríades, milhares de milhares. O Senhor está no meio deles, como em Sinai no santuário.
68:17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands of angels: the Lord is among them, as in Sinai, in the holy place.
68:18 Tu subiste ao alto, levando os teus cativos; recebeste dons dentre os homens, e até dentre os rebeldes, para que o Senhor Deus habitasse entre eles.
68:18 You have ascended on high, you have led captivity captive: you have received gifts for men; yea, for the rebellious also, that the LORD God might dwell among them.

68:19 Blessed be the Lord, who daily loads us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

69:3 I am weary of my crying: my throat is dried: mine eyes fail while I wait for my God.

69:4 They that hate me without a cause are more than the hairs of mine head: they that would destroy me, being mine enemies wrongfully, are mighty: then I restored that which I took not away.

69:5 O God, you know my foolishness; and my sins are not hid from you.

71:20 Tu, que me fizeste ver muitas e penosas tribulações, de novo me restituirás a vida, e de novo me tirarás dos abismos da terra.
71:20 You, which have showed me great and sore troubles, shall restore life in me again, and shall bring me up again from the depths of the earth.
71:21 Aumentarás a minha grandeza, e de novo me consolarás.
71:21 You shall increase my greatness, and comfort me on every side.

72:2 He shall judge your people with righteousness, and your poor with judgment.
72:3 Que os montes tragam paz ao povo, como também os outeiros, com justiça.
72:3 The mountains shall bring peace to the people, and the little hills, by righteousness.
72:4 Julgue ele os aflitos do povo, salve os filhos do necessitado, e esmague o opressor.
72:4 He shall judge the poor of the people, he shall save the children of the needy, and shall break in pieces the oppressor.
72:5 Viva ele enquanto existir o sol, e enquanto durar a lua, por todas as gerações.
72:5 They shall fear you as long as the sun and moon endure, throughout all generations.

72:6 He shall come down like rain upon the mown grass: as showers that water the earth.

72:7 In his days shall the righteous flourish; and abundance of peace so long as the moon endures.
72:8 Domine de mar a mar, e desde o Rio até as extremidades da terra.
72:8 He shall have dominion also from sea to sea, and from the river unto the ends of the earth.
72:9 Inclinem-se diante dele os seus adversários, e os seus inimigos lambam o pó.
72:9 They that dwell in the wilderness shall bow before him; and his enemies shall lick the dust.
72:10 Paguem-lhe tributo os reis de Társis e das ilhas; os reis de Sabá e de Seba ofereçam-lhe dons.
72:10 The kings of Tarshish and of the isles shall bring presents: the kings of Sheba and Seba shall offer gifts.
72:11 Todos os reis se prostrem perante ele; todas as nações o sirvam.
72:11 Yea, all kings shall fall down before him: all nations shall serve him.
72:12 Porque ele livra ao necessitado quando clama, como também ao aflito e ao que não tem quem o ajude.
72:12 For he shall deliver the needy when he cries; the poor also, and him that has no helper.
72:13 Compadece-se do pobre e do necessitado, e a vida dos necessitados ele salva.
72:13 He shall spare the poor and needy, and shall save the souls of the needy.
72:14 Ele os liberta da opressão e da violência, e precioso aos seus olhos é o sangue deles.
72:14 He shall redeem their soul from deceit and violence: and precious shall their blood be in his sight.
72:15 Viva, pois, ele; e se lhe dê do ouro de Sabá; e continuamente se faça por ele oração, e o bendigam em todo o tempo.
72:15 And he shall live, and to him shall be given of the gold of Sheba: prayer also shall be made for him continually; and daily shall he be praised.
72:16 Haja abundância de trigo na terra sobre os cumes dos montes; ondule o seu fruto como o Líbano, e das cidades floresçam homens como a erva da terra.
72:16 There shall be an handful of corn in the earth upon the top of the mountains; the fruit thereof shall shake like Lebanon: and they of the city shall flourish like grass of the earth.
72:17 Permaneça o seu nome eternamente; continue a sua fama enquanto o sol durar, e os homens sejam abençoados nele; todas as nações o chamem bem-aventurado.
72:17 His name shall endure for ever: his name shall be continued as long as the sun: and men shall be blessed in him: all nations shall call him blessed.
72:18 Bendito seja o Senhor Deus, o Deus de Israel, o único que faz maravilhas.
72:18 Blessed be the LORD God, the God of Israel, who only does wondrous things.

73:1 Truly God is good to Israel, even to such as are of a clean heart.
73:2 Quanto a mim, os meus pés quase resvalaram; pouco faltou para que os meus passos escorregassem.
73:2 But as for me, my feet were almost gone; my steps had well nigh slipped.
73:3 Pois eu tinha inveja dos soberbos, ao ver a prosperidade dos ímpios.
73:3 For I was envious at the foolish, when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
73:4 Porque eles não sofrem dores; são e robusto é o seu corpo.
73:4 For there are no bands in their death: but their strength is firm.
73:5 Não se acham em tribulações como outra gente, nem são afligidos como os demais homens.
73:5 They are not in trouble as other men; neither are they plagued like other men.
73:6 Pelo que a soberba lhes cinge o pescoço como um colar; a violência os cobre como um vestido.
73:6 Therefore pride compasses them about as a chain; violence covers them as a garment.
73:7 Os olhos deles estão inchados de gordura; trasbordam as fantasias do seu coração.
73:7 Their eyes stand out with fatness: they have more than heart could wish.
73:8 Motejam e falam maliciosamente; falam arrogantemente da opressão.
73:8 They are corrupt, and speak wickedly concerning oppression: they speak loftily.

73:9 They set their mouth against the heavens, and their tongue walks through the earth.

73:10 Therefore his people return here: and waters of a full cup are wrung out to them.
73:11 E dizem: Como o sabe Deus? e: Há conhecimento no Altíssimo?
73:11 And they say, How does God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
73:12 Eis que estes são ímpios; sempre em segurança, aumentam as suas riquezas.
73:12 Behold, these are the ungodly, who prosper in the world; they increase in riches.
73:13 Na verdade que em vão tenho purificado o meu coração e lavado as minhas mãos na inocência,
73:13 Verily I have cleansed my heart in vain, and washed my hands in innocence.
73:14 pois todo o dia tenho sido afligido, e castigado cada manhã.
73:14 For all the day long have I been plagued, and chastened every morning.
73:15 Se eu tivesse dito: Também falarei assim; eis que me teria havido traiçoeiramente para com a geração de teus filhos.
73:15 If I say, I will speak thus; behold, I should offend against the generation of your children.
73:16 Quando me esforçava para compreender isto, achei que era tarefa difícil para mim,
73:16 When I thought to know this, it was too painful for me;
73:17 até que entrei no santuário de Deus; então percebi o fim deles.
73:17 Until I went into the sanctuary of God; then understood I their end.
73:18 Certamente tu os pões em lugares escorregadios, tu os lanças para a ruína.
73:18 Surely you did set them in slippery places: you casted them down into destruction.
73:19 Como caem na desolação num momento! ficam totalmente consumidos de terrores.
73:19 How are they brought into desolation, as in a moment! they are utterly consumed with terrors.
73:20 Como faz com um sonho o que acorda, assim, ó Senhor, quando acordares, desprezarás as suas fantasias.
73:20 As a dream when one awakes; so, O Lord, when you awake, you shall despise their image.
73:21 Quando o meu espírito se amargurava, e sentia picadas no meu coração,
73:21 Thus my heart was grieved, and I was pricked in my reins.
73:22 estava embrutecido, e nada sabia; era como animal diante de ti.
73:22 So foolish was I, and ignorant: I was as a beast before you.

73:23 Nevertheless I am continually with you: you have held me by my right hand.

73:27 For, lo, they that are far from you shall perish: you have destroyed all them that go a whoring from you.

74:1 Ó Deus, por que nos rejeitaste para sempre? Por que se acende a tua ira contra o rebanho do teu pasto?
74:1 O God, why have you cast us off for ever? why does yours anger smoke against the sheep of your pasture?
74:2 Lembra-te da tua congregação, que compraste desde a antigüidade, que remiste para ser a tribo da tua herança, e do monte Sião, em que tens habitado.
74:2 Remember your congregation, which you have purchased of old; the rod of yours inheritance, which you have redeemed; this mount Zion, wherein you have dwelt.
74:3 Dirige os teus passos para as perpétuas ruínas, para todo o mal que o inimigo tem feito no santuário.
74:3 Lift up your feet unto the perpetual desolations; even all that the enemy has done wickedly in the sanctuary.
74:4 Os teus inimigos bramam no meio da tua assembléia; põem nela as suas insígnias por sinais.
74:4 Yours enemies roar in the midst of your congregations; they set up their ensigns for signs.
74:5 A entrada superior cortaram com machados a grade de madeira.
74:5 A man was famous according as he had lifted up axes upon the thick trees.
74:6 Eis que toda obra entalhada, eles a despedaçaram a machados e martelos.
74:6 But now they break down the carved work thereof at once with axes and hammers.
74:7 Lançaram fogo ao teu santuário; profanaram, derrubando-a até o chão, a morada do teu nome.
74:7 They have cast fire into your sanctuary, they have defiled by casting down the dwelling place of your name to the ground.
74:8 Disseram no seu coração: Despojemo-la duma vez. Queimaram todas as sinagogas de Deus na terra.
74:8 They said in their hearts, Let us destroy them together: they have burned up all the synagogues of God in the land.
74:9 Não vemos mais as nossas insígnias, não há mais profeta; nem há entre nós alguém que saiba até quando isto durará.
74:9 We see not our signs: there is no more any prophet: neither is there among us any that knows how long.
74:10 Até quando, ó Deus, o adversário afrontará? O inimigo ultrajará o teu nome para sempre?
74:10 O God, how long shall the adversary reproach? shall the enemy blaspheme your name for ever?
74:11 Por que reténs a tua mão, sim, a tua destra? Tira-a do teu seio, e consome-os.
74:11 Why withdraw you your hand, even your right hand? pluck it out of your bosom.
74:12 Todavia, Deus é o meu Rei desde a antigüidade, operando a salvação no meio da terra.
74:12 For God is my King of old, working salvation in the midst of the earth.
74:13 Tu dividiste o mar pela tua força; esmigalhaste a cabeça dos monstros marinhos sobre as águas.
74:13 You did divide the sea by your strength: you brake the heads of the dragons in the waters.
74:14 Tu esmagaste as cabeças do leviatã, e o deste por mantimento aos habitantes do deserto.
74:14 You brake the heads of leviathan (p. sea serpent) in pieces, and gave him to be food to the people inhabiting the wilderness.
74:15 Tu abriste fontes e ribeiros; tu secaste os rios perenes.
74:15 You did cleave the fountain and the flood: you dried up mighty rivers.
74:16 Teu é o dia e tua é a noite: tu preparaste a luz e o sol.
74:16 The day is yours, the night also is yours: you have prepared the light and the sun.
74:17 Tu estabeleceste todos os limites da terra; verão e inverno, tu os fizeste.
74:17 You have set all the borders of the earth: you have made summer and winter.
74:18 Lembra-te disto: que o inimigo te afrontou, ó Senhor, e que um povo insensato ultrajou o teu nome.
74:18 Remember this, that the enemy has reproached, O LORD, and that the foolish people have blasphemed your name.
74:19 Não entregues rs feras a alma da tua rola; não te esqueça para sempre da vida dos teus aflitos.
74:19 O deliver not the soul of your turtledove unto the multitude of the wicked: forget not the congregation of your poor for ever.
74:20 Atenta para o teu pacto, pois os lugares tenebrosos da terra estão cheios das moradas de violência.
74:20 Have respect unto the covenant: for the dark places of the earth are full of the habitations of cruelty.
74:21 Não volte envergonhado o oprimido; louvem o teu nome o aflito e o necessitado.
74:21 O let not the oppressed return ashamed: let the poor and needy praise your name.
74:22 Levanta-te, ó Deus, pleiteia a tua própria causa; lembra-te da afronta que o insensato te faz continuamente.
74:22 Arise, O God, plead yours own cause: remember how the foolish man reproaches you daily.
74:23 Não te esqueças da gritaria dos teus adversários; o tumulto daqueles que se levantam contra ti sobe continuamente.
74:23 Forget not the voice of yours enemies: the tumult of those that rise up against you increases continually.

75:2 When I shall receive the congregation I will judge uprightly.
75:3 Dissolve-se a terra e todos os seus moradores, mas eu lhe fortaleci as colunas.

75:7 But God is the judge: he puts down one, and sets up another.
75:8 Porque na mão do Senhor há um cálice, cujo vinho espuma, cheio de mistura, do qual ele dá a beber; certamente todos os ímpios da terra sorverão e beberão as suas fezes.
75:8 For in the hand of the LORD there is a cup, and the wine is red; it is full of mixture; and he pours out of the same: but the dregs thereof, all the wicked of the earth shall wring them out, and drink them.
75:9 Mas, quanto a mim, exultarei para sempre, cantarei louvores ao Deus de Jacó.
75:9 But I will declare for ever; I will sing praises to the God of Jacob.
75:10 E quebrantarei todas as forças dos ímpios, mas as forças dos justos serão exaltadas.

76:3 There brake he the arrows of the bow, the shield, and the sword, and the battle. Selah.
76:4 Glorioso és tu, mais majestoso do que os montes eternos.
76:4 You are more glorious and excellent than the mountains of prey.
76:5 Os ousados de coração foram despojados; dormiram o seu último sono; nenhum dos homens de força pôde usar as mãos.
76:5 The stouthearted are spoiled, they have slept their sleep: and none of the men of might have found their hands.
76:6 Â tua repreensão, ó Deus de Jacó, cavaleiros e cavalos ficaram estirados sem sentidos.
76:6 At your rebuke, O God of Jacob, both the chariot and horse are cast into a dead sleep.

76:7 You, even you, are to be feared: and who may stand in your sight when once you are angry?
76:8 Desde o céu fizeste ouvir o teu juízo; a terra tremeu e se aquietou,
76:8 You did cause judgment to be heard from heaven; the earth feared, and was still,
76:9 quando Deus se levantou para julgar, para salvar a todos os mansos da terra.
76:9 When God arose to judgment, to save all the meek of the earth. Selah.
76:10 Na verdade a cólera do homem redundará em teu louvor, e do restante da cólera tu te cingirás.
76:10 Surely the wrath of man shall praise you: the remainder of wrath shall you restrain.
76:11 Fazei votos, e pagai-os ao Senhor, vosso Deus; tragam presentes, os que estão em redor dele, rquele que deve ser temido.
76:11 Vow, and pay unto the LORD your God: let all that be round about him bring presents unto him that ought to be feared.
76:12 Ele ceifará o espírito dos príncipes; é tremendo para com os reis da terra.
76:12 He shall cut off the spirit of princes: he is terrible to the kings of the earth.
