9:1 Савл же, еще дыша угрозами и убийством на учеников Господа, пришел к первосвященнику
9:1 And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
9:2 и выпросил у него письма в Дамаск к синагогам, чтобы, кого найдет последующих сему учению, и мужчин и женщин, связав, приводить в Иерусалим.
9:2 And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
9:3 Когда же он шел и приближался к Дамаску, внезапно осиял его свет с неба.
9:3 And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
9:4 Он упал на землю и услышал голос, говорящий ему: Савл, Савл! что ты гонишь Меня?
9:4 And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecute you me?
9:5 Он сказал: кто Ты, Господи? Господь же сказал: Я Иисус, Которого ты гонишь. Трудно тебе идти против рожна.
9:5 And he said, Who are you, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom you persecute: it is hard for you to kick against the pricks.
9:6 Он в трепете и ужасе сказал: Господи! что повелишь мне делать? и Господь сказал ему: встань и иди в город; и сказано будет тебе, что тебе надобно делать.
9:6 And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what will you have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told you what you must do.
9:7 Люди же, шедшие с ним, стояли в оцепенении, слыша голос, а никого не видя.
9:7 And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
9:8 Савл встал с земли, и с открытыми глазами никого не видел. И повели его за руки, и привели в Дамаск.
9:8 And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
9:9 И три дня он не видел, и не ел, и не пил.
9:9 And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
9:10 В Дамаске был один ученик, именем Анания; и Господь в видении сказал ему: Анания! Он сказал: я, Господи.
9:10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
9:11 Господь же сказал ему: встань и пойди на улицу, так называемую Прямую, и спроси в Иудином доме Тарсянина, по имени Савла; он теперь молится,
9:11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prays,
9:12 и видел в видении мужа, именем Ананию, пришедшего к нему и возложившего на него руку, чтобы он прозрел.
9:12 And has seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
9:13 Анания отвечал: Господи! я слышал от многих о сем человеке, сколько зла сделал он святым Твоим в Иерусалиме;
9:13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he has done to your saints at Jerusalem:
9:14 и здесь имеет от первосвященников власть вязать всех, призывающих имя Твое.
9:14 And here he has authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on your name.
9:15 Но Господь сказал ему: иди, ибо он есть Мой избранный сосуд, чтобы возвещать имя Мое перед народами и царями и сынами Израилевыми.
9:15 But the Lord said unto him, Go your way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
9:16 И Я покажу ему, сколько он должен пострадать за имя Мое.
9:16 For I will show him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
9:17 Анания пошел и вошел в дом и, возложив на него руки, сказал: брат Савл! Господь Иисус, явившийся тебе на пути, которым ты шел, послал меня, чтобы ты прозрел и исполнился Святаго Духа.
9:17 And Ananias went his way, and entered into the house; and putting his hands on him said, Brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto you in the way as you came, has sent me, that you might receive your sight, and be filled with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
9:18 И тотчас как бы чешуя отпала от глаз его, и вдруг он прозрел; и, встав, крестился,
9:18 And immediately there fell from his eyes as it had been scales: and he received sight forthwith, and arose, and was baptized.
9:19 и, приняв пищи, укрепился. И был Савл несколько дней с учениками в Дамаске.
9:19 And when he had received food, he was strengthened. Then was Saul certain days with the disciples which were at Damascus.
9:20 И тотчас стал проповедывать в синагогах об Иисусе, что Он есть Сын Божий.
9:20 And immediately he preached Christ in the synagogues, that he is the Son of God.
9:21 И все слышавшие дивились и говорили: не тот ли это самый, который гнал в Иерусалиме призывающих имя сие? да и сюда за тем пришел, чтобы вязать их и вести к первосвященникам.
9:21 But all that heard him were amazed, and said; Is not this he that destroyed them which called on this name in Jerusalem, and came here for that intent, that he might bring them bound unto the chief priests?
9:22 А Савл более и более укреплялся и приводил в замешательство Иудеев, живущих в Дамаске, доказывая, что Сей есть Христос.
9:22 But Saul increased the more in strength, and confounded the Jews which dwelt at Damascus, proving that this is very Christ.
9:23 Когда же прошло довольно времени, Иудеи согласились убить его.
9:23 And after that many days were fulfilled, the Jews took counsel to kill him:
9:24 Но Савл узнал об этом умысле их. А они день и ночь стерегли у ворот, чтобы убить его.
9:24 But their laying await was known of Saul. And they watched the gates day and night to kill him.
9:25 Ученики же ночью, взяв его, спустили по стене в корзине.
9:25 Then the disciples took him by night, and let him down by the wall in a basket.
9:26 Савл прибыл в Иерусалим и старался пристать к ученикам; но все боялись его, не веря, что он ученик.
9:26 And when Saul was come to Jerusalem, he assayed to join himself to the disciples: but they were all afraid of him, and believed not that he was a disciple.
9:27 Варнава же, взяв его, пришел к Апостолам и рассказал им, как на пути он видел Господа, и что говорил ему Господь, и как он в Дамаске смелопроповедывал во имя Иисуса.
9:27 But Barnabas took him, and brought him to the apostles, and declared unto them how he had seen the Lord in the way, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus.
9:28 И пребывал он с ними, входя и исходя, в Иерусалиме, и смело проповедывал во имяГоспода Иисуса.
9:28 And he was with them coming in and going out at Jerusalem.
9:29 Говорил также и состязался с Еллинистами; а онипокушались убить его.
9:29 And he spoke boldly in the name of the Lord Jesus, and disputed against the Grecians: but they went about to slay him.
9:30 Братия, узнав о сем , отправили его в Кесарию ипрепроводили в Тарс.
9:30 Which when the brethren knew, they brought him down to Caesarea, and sent him forth to Tarsus.
9:31 Церкви же по всей Иудее, Галилее и Самарии были в покое, назидаясь и ходя встрахе Господнем; и, при утешении от Святаго Духа, умножались.
9:31 Then had the churches rest throughout all Judaea and Galilee and Samaria, and were edified; and walking in the fear of the Lord, and in the comfort of the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) were multiplied.
9:32 Случилось, что Петр, обходя всех, пришел и к святым, живущим в Лидде.
9:32 And it came to pass, as Peter passed throughout all quarters, he came down also to the saints which dwelt at Lydda.
9:33 Там нашел он одного человека, именем Энея, который восемь уже лет лежал в постели в расслаблении.
9:33 And there he found a certain man named Aeneas, which had kept his bed eight years, and was sick of the palsy.
9:34 Петр сказал ему: Эней! исцеляет тебя Иисус Христос; встань с постели твоей. И он тотчас встал.
9:34 And Peter said unto him, Aeneas, Jesus Christ makes you whole: arise, and make your bed. And he arose immediately.
9:35 И видели его все, живущие в Лидде и в Сароне, которые и обратились к Господу.
9:35 And all that dwelt at Lydda and Saron saw him, and turned to the Lord.
9:36 В Иоппии находилась одна ученица, именем Тавифа, что значит: „серна"; она была исполнена добрых дел и творила много милостынь.
9:36 Now there was at Joppa a certain disciple named Tabitha, which by interpretation is called Dorcas: this woman was full of good works and kind acts which she did.
9:37 Случилось в те дни, что она занемогла и умерла. Ееомыли и положили в горнице.
9:37 And it came to pass in those days, that she was sick, and died: whom when they had washed, they laid her in an upper chamber.
9:38 А как Лидда была близ Иоппии, то ученики, услышав,что Петр находится там, послали к нему двух человек просить, чтобы он не замедлил придти к ним.
9:38 And forasmuch as Lydda was nigh to Joppa, and the disciples had heard that Peter was there, they sent unto him two men, desiring him that he would not delay to come to them.
9:39 Петр, встав, пошел с ними; и когда он прибыл, ввели его в горницу, и все вдовицы со слезами предстали перед ним, показывая рубашки и платья, какие делала Серна, живя с ними.
9:39 Then Peter arose and went with them. When he was come, they brought him into the upper chamber: and all the widows stood by him weeping, and showing the coats and garments which Dorcas made, while she was with them.
9:40 Петр выслал всех вон и, преклонив колени, помолился, и, обратившись к телу, сказал: Тавифа! встань. И она открыла глаза свои и, увидев Петра, села.
9:40 But Peter put them all forth, and kneeled down, and prayed; and turning him to the body said, Tabitha, arise. And she opened her eyes: and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
9:41 Он, подав ей руку, поднял ее, и, призвав святых и вдовиц, поставил ее перед ними живою.
9:41 And he gave her his hand, and lifted her up, and when he had called the saints and widows, presented her alive.
9:42 Это сделалось известным по всей Иоппии, и многие уверовали в Господа.
9:42 And it was known throughout all Joppa; and many believed in the Lord.
9:43 И довольно дней пробыл он в Иоппии у некоторого Симона кожевника.
9:43 And it came to pass, that he tarried many days in Joppa with one Simon a tanner.
10:1 В Кесарии был некоторый муж, именем Корнилий, сотникиз полка, называемого Италийским,
10:1 There was a certain man in Caesarea called Cornelius, a centurion of the band called the Italian band,
10:2 благочестивый и боящийся Бога со всем домом своим,творивший много милостыни народу и всегда молившийся Богу.
10:2 A devout man, and one that feared God with all his house, which gave much alms to the people, and prayed to God always.
10:3 Он в видении ясно видел около девятого часа дня Ангела Божия, который вошел к нему и сказал ему: Корнилий!
10:3 He saw in a vision evidently about the ninth hour of the day an angel of God coming in to him, and saying unto him, Cornelius.
10:4 Он же, взглянув на него и испугавшись, сказал: что, Господи? Ангел отвечал ему: молитвы твои и милостыни твои пришли на память пред Богом.
10:4 And when he looked on him, he was afraid, and said, What is it, Lord? And he said unto him, Your prayers and yours alms are come up for a memorial before God.
10:5 Итак пошли людей в Иоппию и призови Симона, называемого Петром.
10:5 And now send men to Joppa, and call for one Simon, whose surname is Peter:
10:6 Он гостит у некоего Симона кожевника, которого домнаходится при море; он скажет тебе слова, которыми спасешься ты и весь дом твой.
10:6 He lodges with one Simon a tanner, whose house is by the sea side: he shall tell you what you ought to do.
10:7 Когда Ангел, говоривший с Корнилием, отошел, то он, призвав двоих из своих слуг и благочестивого воина из находившихся при нем
10:7 And when the angel which spoke unto Cornelius was departed, he called two of his household servants, and a devout soldier of them that waited on him continually;
10:8 и, рассказав им все, послал их в Иоппию.
10:8 And when he had declared all these things unto them, he sent them to Joppa.
10:9 На другой день, когда они шли и приближались к городу, Петр около шестого часа взошел на верх дома помолиться.
10:9 On the next day, as they went on their journey, and drew nigh unto the city, Peter went up upon the housetop to pray about the sixth hour:
10:10 И почувствовал он голод, и хотел есть. Между тем, как приготовляли, он пришел в исступление
10:10 And he became very hungry, and would have eaten: but while they made ready, he fell into a trance,
10:11 и видит отверстое небо и сходящий к нему некоторый сосуд, как бы большое полотно, привязанное за четыре угла и опускаемое на землю;
10:11 And saw heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending upon him, as it had been a great sheet knit at the four corners, and let down to the earth:
10:12 в нем находились всякие четвероногие земные, звери, пресмыкающиеся и птицы небесные.
10:12 Wherein were all manner of four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
10:13 И был глас к нему: встань, Петр, заколи и ешь.
10:13 And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat.
10:14 Но Петр сказал: нет, Господи, я никогда не ел ничего скверного или нечистого.
10:14 But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
10:15 Тогда в другой раз был глас к нему: что Бог очистил, того ты не почитай нечистым.
10:15 And the voice spoke unto him again the second time, What God has cleansed, that call not you common.
10:16 Это было трижды; и сосуд опять поднялся на небо.
10:16 This was done three times: and the vessel was received up again into heaven.
10:17 Когда же Петр недоумевал в себе, что бы значило видение, которое он видел, - вот, мужи, посланные Корнилием, расспросив о доме Симона, остановились у ворот,
10:17 Now while Peter doubted in himself what this vision which he had seen should mean, behold, the men which were sent from Cornelius had made enquiry for Simon's house, and stood before the gate,
10:18 и, крикнув, спросили: здесь ли Симон, называемый Петром?
10:18 And called, and asked whether Simon, which was surnamed Peter, were lodged there.
10:19 Между тем, как Петр размышлял о видении, Дух сказал ему: вот, три человека ищут тебя;
10:19 While Peter thought on the vision, the Spirit (o. pneuma) said unto him, Behold, three men seek you.
10:20 встань, сойди и иди с ними, нимало не сомневаясь; ибо Я послал их.
10:20 Arise therefore, and get you down, and go with them, doubting nothing: for I have sent them.
10:21 Петр, сойдя к людям, присланным к нему от Корнилия, сказал: я тот, которого вы ищете; за каким делом пришли вы?
10:21 Then Peter went down to the men which were sent unto him from Cornelius; and said, Behold, I am he whom all of you seek: what is the cause wherefore all of you are come?
10:22 Они же сказали: Корнилий сотник, муж добродетельный и боящийся Бога, одобряемый всем народом Иудейским, получил от святаго Ангела повеление призвать тебя в дом свой и послушать речей твоих.
10:22 And they said, Cornelius the centurion, a just man, and one that fears God, and of good report among all the nation of the Jews, was warned from God by an holy angel to send for you into his house, and to hear words (o. rhema) of you.
10:23 Тогда Петр, пригласив их, угостил. А на другой день, встав, пошел с ними, и некоторые из братий Иоппийских пошли с ним.
10:23 Then called he them in, and lodged them. And on the next day Peter went away with them, and certain brethren from Joppa accompanied him.
10:24 В следующий день пришли они в Кесарию.Корнилий же ожидал их, созвав родственников своих и близких друзей.
10:24 And the next day after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and he had called together his kinsmen and near friends.
10:25 Когда Петр входил, Корнилий встретил его и поклонился, пав к ногам его.
10:25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.
10:26 Петр же поднял его, говоря: встань; я тоже человек.
10:26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.
10:27 И, беседуя с ним, вошел в дом ,и нашел многих собравшихся.
10:27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.
10:28 И сказал им: вы знаете, что Иудею возбранено сообщаться или сближаться с иноплеменником; но мне Бог открыл, чтобы я не почитал ни одного человека скверным или нечистым.
10:28 And he said unto them, All of you know how that it is an unlawful thing for a man that is a Jew to keep company, or come unto one of another nation; but God has showed me that I should not call any man common or unclean.
10:29 Посему я, будучи позван, и пришелбеспрекословно. Итак спрашиваю: для какого дела вы призвали меня?
10:29 Therefore came I unto you without gainsaying, as soon as I was sent for: I ask therefore for what intent (o. logos) all of you have sent for me?
10:30 Корнилий сказал: четвертого дня я постился до теперешнего часа, и в девятом часу молился в своем доме, и вот, стал предо мною муж в светлой одежде,
10:30 And Cornelius said, Four days ago I was fasting until this hour; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and, behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing,
10:31 и говорит: Корнилий! услышана молитва твоя, и милостыни твои воспомянулись пред Богом.
10:31 And said, Cornelius, your prayer is heard, and yours alms are had in remembrance in the sight of God.
10:32 Итак пошли в Иоппию и призови Симона, называемого Петром; он гостит в доме кожевника Симона при море; он придет и скажет тебе.
10:32 Send therefore to Joppa, and call here Simon, whose surname is Peter; he is lodged in the house of one Simon a tanner by the sea side: who, when he comes, shall speak unto you.
10:33 Тотчас послал я к тебе, и ты хорошо сделал, что пришел. Теперь все мы предстоим пред Богом, чтобы выслушать все, что повелено тебе от Бога.
10:33 Immediately therefore I sent to you; and you have well done that you are come. Now therefore are we all here present before God, to hear all things that are commanded you of God.
10:34 Петр отверз уста и сказал: истинно познаю, что Бог нелицеприятен,
10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Truthfully I perceive that God is no respecter of persons:
10:35 но во всяком народе боящийся Его и поступающий по правде приятен Ему.
10:35 But in every nation he that fears him, and works righteousness, is accepted with him.
10:36 Он послал сынам Израилевым слово, благовествуя мир чрез Иисуса Христа; Сей есть Господь всех.
10:36 The word (o. logos) which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
10:37 Вы знаете происходившее по всей Иудее, начиная от Галилеи, после крещения, проповеданного Иоанном:
10:37 That word, (o. rhema) I say, all of you know, which was published throughout all Judaea, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached;
10:38 как Бог Духом Святым и силою помазал Иисуса из Назарета, и Он ходил, благотворя и исцеляя всех, обладаемых диаволом, потому что Бог был с Ним.
10:38 How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him.
10:39 И мы свидетели всего, что сделал Он в стране Иудейской и в Иерусалиме, и что наконец Его убили, повесив на древе.
10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:
10:40 Сего Бог воскресил в третий день, и дал Ему являться
10:40 Him God raised up the third day, and showed him openly;
10:41 не всему народу, но свидетелям, предъизбранным от Бога, нам, которые с Ним ели и пили, по воскресении Его из мертвых.
10:41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before God, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.
10:42 И Он повелел нам проповедывать людям и свидетельствовать, что Он есть определенный от Бога Судия живых и мертвых.
10:42 And he commanded us to preach unto the people, and to testify that it is he which was ordained of God to be the Judge of quick and dead.
10:43 О Нем все пророки свидетельствуют, что всякий верующий в Него получит прощение грехов именем Его.
10:43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believes in him shall receive remission of sins.
10:44 Когда Петр еще продолжал эту речь, Дух Святый сошел на всех, слушавших слово.
10:44 While Peter yet spoke these words, (o. rhema) the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) fell on all them which heard the word. (o. logos)
10:45 И верующие из обрезанных, пришедшие сПетром, изумились, что дар Святаго Духа излился и на язычников,
10:45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
10:46 ибо слышали их говорящих языками и величающих Бога. Тогда Петр сказал:
10:46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter,
10:47 кто может запретить креститься водою тем, которые,как и мы, получили Святаго Духа?
10:47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) as well as we?
10:48 И велел им креститься во имя Иисуса Христа. Потом они просили его пробыть у них несколько дней.
10:48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
11:1 Услышали Апостолы и братия, бывшие в Иудее, что и язычники приняли слово Божие.
11:1 And the apostles and brethren that were in Judaea heard that the Gentiles had also received the word (o. logos) of God.
11:2 И когда Петр пришел в Иерусалим, обрезанные упрекали его,
11:2 And when Peter was come up to Jerusalem, they that were of the circumcision contended with him,
11:3 говоря: ты ходил к людям необрезанным и ел с ними.
11:3 Saying, You went in to men uncircumcised, and did eat with them.
11:4 Петр же начал пересказывать им по порядку, говоря:
11:4 But Peter rehearsed the matter from the beginning, and expounded it by order unto them, saying,
11:5 в городе Иоппии я молился, и в исступлении видел видение: сходил некоторый сосуд, как бы большоеполотно, за четыре угла спускаемое с неба, и спустилось ко мне.
11:5 I was in the city of Joppa praying: and in a trance I saw a vision, A certain vessel descend, as it had been a great sheet, let down from heaven by four corners; and it came even to me:
11:6 Я посмотрел в него и, рассматривая, увидел четвероногих земных, зверей, пресмыкающихся и птиц небесных.
11:6 Upon the which when I had fastened mine eyes, I considered, and saw four-footed beasts of the earth, and wild beasts, and creeping things, and fowls of the air.
11:7 И услышал я голос, говорящий мне: встань, Петр, заколи и ешь.
11:7 And I heard a voice saying unto me, Arise, Peter; slay and eat.
11:8 Я же сказал: нет, Господи, ничего скверного или нечистого никогда не входило в уста мои.
11:8 But I said, Not so, Lord: for nothing common or unclean has at any time entered into my mouth.
11:9 И отвечал мне голос вторично с неба: что Бог очистил, того ты не почитай нечистым.
11:9 But the voice answered me again from heaven, What God has cleansed, that call not you common.
11:10 Это было трижды, и опять поднялось все на небо.
11:10 And this was done three times: and all were drawn up again into heaven.
11:11 И вот, в тот самый час три человека стали перед домом, в котором я был, посланные из Кесарии ко мне.
11:11 And, behold, immediately there were three men already come unto the house where I was, sent from Caesarea unto me.
11:12 Дух сказал мне, чтобы я шел с ними, нимало не сомневаясь. Пошли со мною и сии шесть братьев, и мы пришли в дом того человека.
11:12 And the Spirit (o. pneuma) bade me go with them, nothing doubting. Moreover these six brethren accompanied me, and we entered into the man's house:
11:13 Он рассказал нам, как он видел в доме своем Ангела святого, который стал и сказал ему: пошли в Иоппию людей и призови Симона, называемогоПетром;
11:13 And he showed us how he had seen an angel in his house, which stood and said unto him, Send men to Joppa, and call for Simon, whose surname is Peter;
11:14 он скажет тебе слова, которыми спасешься ты и весь дом твой.
11:14 Who shall tell you words, (o. rhema) whereby you and all your house shall be saved.
11:15 Когда же начал я говорить, сошел на них Дух Святый, как и на нас вначале.
11:15 And as I began to speak, the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) fell on them, as on us at the beginning.
11:16 Тогда вспомнил я слово Господа, как Он говорил: „Иоанн крестил водою, а вы будете крещены Духом Святым".
11:16 Then remembered I the word (o. rhema) of the Lord, how that he said, John indeed baptized with water; but all of you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
11:17 Итак, если Бог дал им такой же дар, как и нам, уверовавшим в Господа Иисуса Христа, то кто же я, чтобы мог воспрепятствовать Богу?
11:17 Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?
11:18 Выслушав это, они успокоились и прославили Бога, говоря: видно, и язычникам дал Бог покаяние вжизнь.
11:18 When they heard these things, they held their peace, and glorified God, saying, Then has God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life.
11:19 Между тем рассеявшиеся от гонения, бывшего после Стефана, прошли до Финикии и Кипра и Антиохии, никому не проповедуя слово, кроме Иудеев.
11:19 Now they which were scattered abroad upon the persecution that arose about Stephen travelled as far as Phenice, and Cyprus, and Antioch, preaching the word (o. logos) to none but unto the Jews only.
11:20 Были же некоторые из них Кипряне и Киринейцы, которые, придя в Антиохию, говорили Еллинам, благовествуя Господа Иисуса.
11:20 And some of them were men of Cyprus and Cyrene, which, when they were come to Antioch, spoke unto the Grecians, preaching the LORD Jesus.
11:21 И была рука Господня с ними, и великое число, уверовав, обратилось к Господу.
11:21 And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number believed, and turned unto the Lord.
11:22 Дошел слух о сем до церкви Иерусалимской, и поручили Варнаве идти в Антиохию.
11:22 Then tidings (o. logos) of these things came unto the ears of the church which was in Jerusalem: and they sent forth Barnabas, that he should go as far as Antioch.
11:23 Он, прибыв и увидев благодать Божию, возрадовался и убеждал всех держаться Господа искренним сердцем;
11:23 Who, when he came, and had seen the grace of God, was glad, and exhorted them all, that with purpose of heart they would cleave unto the Lord.
11:24 ибо он был муж добрый и исполненный Духа Святаго и веры. И приложилось довольно народа к Господу.
11:24 For he was a good man, and full of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.
11:25 Потом Варнава пошел в Тарс искать Савла и, найдя его, привел в Антиохию.
11:25 Then departed Barnabas to Tarsus, in order to seek Saul:
11:26 Целый год собирались они в церкви и учили немалое число людей, и ученики в Антиохии в первый раз стали называться Христианами.
11:26 And when he had found him, he brought him unto Antioch. And it came to pass, that a whole year they assembled themselves with the church, and taught much people. And the disciples were called Christians first in Antioch.
11:27 В те дни пришли из Иерусалима в Антиохию пророки.
11:27 And in these days came prophets from Jerusalem unto Antioch.
11:28 И один из них, по имени Агав, встав, предвозвестил Духом, что по всей вселенной будет великий голод, который и был при кесаре Клавдии.
11:28 And there stood up one of them named Agabus, and signified by the Spirit (o. pneuma) that there should be great dearth throughout all the world: which came to pass in the days of Claudius Caesar.
11:29 Тогда ученики положили, каждый по достатку своему, послать пособие братьям, живущим в Иудее,
11:29 Then the disciples, every man according to his ability, determined to send relief unto the brethren which dwelt in Judaea:
11:30 что и сделали, послав собранное к пресвитерам через Варнаву и Савла.
11:30 Which also they did, and sent it to the elders by the hands of Barnabas and Saul.
12:1 В то время царь Ирод поднял руки на некоторых из принадлежащих к церкви, чтобы сделать им зло,
12:1 Now about that time Herod the king stretched forth his hands to vex certain of the church.
12:2 и убил Иакова, брата Иоаннова, мечом.
12:2 And he killed James the brother of John with the sword.
12:3 Видя же, что это приятно Иудеям, вслед за тем взял и Петра, - тогда были дни опресноков, -
12:3 And because he saw it pleased the Jews, he proceeded further to take Peter also. (Then were the days of unleavened bread.)
12:4 и, задержав его, посадил в темницу, и приказал четырем четверицам воинов стеречь его, намереваясь после Пасхивывести его к народу.
12:4 And when he had apprehended him, he put him in prison, and delivered him to four quaternions of soldiers to keep him; intending after Easter to bring him forth to the people.
12:5 Итак Петра стерегли в темнице, между тем церковьприлежно молилась о нем Богу.
12:5 Peter therefore was kept in prison: but prayer was made without ceasing of the church unto God for him.
12:6 Когда же Ирод хотел вывести его, в ту ночь Петр спал между двумя воинами, скованныйдвумя цепями, и стражи у дверей стерегли темницу.
12:6 And when Herod would have brought him forth, the same night Peter was sleeping between two soldiers, bound with two chains: and the keepers before the door kept the prison.
12:7 И вот, Ангел Господень предстал, и свет осиял темницу. Ангел , толкнув Петра в бок, пробудил его и сказал: встань скорее. И цепи упали с рук его.
12:7 And, behold, the angel of the Lord came upon him, and a light shined in the prison: and he stroke Peter on the side, and raised him up, saying, Arise up quickly. And his chains fell off from his hands.
12:8 И сказал ему Ангел: опояшься и обуйся. Он сделал так. Потом говорит ему: надень одежду твою и иди за мною.
12:8 And the angel said unto him, Gird yourself, and bind on your sandals. And so he did. And he says unto him, Cast your garment about you, and follow me.
12:9 Петр вышел и следовал за ним, не зная, чтоделаемое Ангелом было действительно, а думая, что видит видение.
12:9 And he went out, and followed him; and know not that it was true which was done by the angel; but thought he saw a vision.
12:10 Пройдя первую и вторую стражу, они пришли к железным воротам, ведущим в город, которые сами собою отворились им: они вышли, и прошли одну улицу, и вдруг Ангела не стало с ним.
12:10 When they were past the first and the second ward, they came unto the iron gate that leads unto the city; which opened to them of his own accord: and they went out, and passed on through one street; and forthwith the angel departed from him.
12:11 Тогда Петр, придя в себя, сказал: теперь я вижувоистину, что Господь послал Ангела Своего и избавил меня из руки Ирода и от всего, чего ждал народИудейский.
12:11 And when Peter was come to himself, he said, Now I know certainly, that the LORD has sent his angel, and has delivered me out of the hand of Herod, and from all the expectation of the people of the Jews.
12:12 И, осмотревшись, пришел к дому Марии, матери Иоанна, называемого Марком, где многие собрались и молились.
12:12 And when he had considered the thing, he came to the house of Mary the mother of John, whose surname was Mark; where many were gathered together praying.
12:13 Когда же Петр постучался у ворот, то вышла послушать служанка, именем Рода,
12:13 And as Peter knocked at the door of the gate, a damsel came to hearken, named Rhoda.
12:14 и, узнав голос Петра, от радости не отворила ворот, но, вбежав, объявила, что Петр стоит у ворот.
12:14 And when she knew Peter's voice, she opened not the gate for gladness, but ran in, and told how Peter stood before the gate.
12:15 А те сказали ей: в своем ли ты уме? Но она утверждала свое. Они же говорили: это Ангел его.
12:15 And they said unto her, You are mad. But she constantly affirmed that it was even so. Then said they, It is his angel.
12:16 Между тем Петр продолжал стучать. Когда же отворили,то увидели его и изумились.
12:16 But Peter continued knocking: and when they had opened the door, and saw him, they were astonished.
12:17 Он же, дав знак рукою, чтобы молчали,рассказал им, как Господь вывел его из темницы, и сказал: уведомьте о сем Иакова и братьев. Потом, выйдя, пошел в другое место.
12:17 But he, beckoning unto them with the hand to hold their peace, declared unto them how the Lord had brought him out of the prison. And he said, Go show these things unto James, and to the brethren. And he departed, and went into another place.
12:18 По наступлении дня между воинами сделалась большая тревога о том, что сделалось с Петром.
12:18 Now as soon as it was day, there was no small stir among the soldiers, what was become of Peter.
12:19 Ирод же, поискав его и не найдя, судил стражей и велел казнить их. Потом он отправился из Иудеи в Кесарию и там оставался.
12:19 And when Herod had sought for him, and found him not, he examined the keepers, and commanded that they should be put to death. And he went down from Judaea to Caesarea, and there abode.
12:20 Ирод был раздражен на Тирян и Сидонян; они же,согласившись, пришли к нему и, склонив на свою сторону Власта, постельника царского, просили мира, потому что область их питалась от области царской.
12:20 And Herod was highly displeased with them of Tyre and Sidon: but they came with one accord to him, and, having made Blastus the king's chamberlain their friend, desired peace; because their country was nourished by the king's country.
12:21 В назначенный день Ирод, одевшись в царскую одежду, сел на возвышенном месте и говорил к ним;
12:21 And upon a set day Herod, arrayed in royal apparel, sat upon his throne, and made an oration unto them.
12:22 а народ восклицал: это голос Бога, а не человека.
12:22 And the people gave a shout, saying, It is the voice of a god, and not of a man.
12:23 Но вдруг Ангел Господень поразил его за то, что он не воздал славы Богу; и он, быв изъеден червями, умер.
12:23 And immediately the angel of the Lord stroke him, because he gave not God the glory: and he was eaten of worms, and gave up the spirit.
12:24 Слово же Божие росло и распространялось.
12:24 But the word (o. logos) of God grew and multiplied.
12:25 А Варнава и Савл, по исполнении поручения, возвратились из Иерусалима в Антиохию, взяв с собою и Иоанна, прозванного Марком.
12:25 And Barnabas and Saul returned from Jerusalem, when they had fulfilled their ministry, and took with them John, whose surname was Mark.
13:1 В Антиохии, в тамошней церкви были некоторые пророки и учители: Варнава, и Симеон, называемый Нигер, и Луций Киринеянин, и Манаил, совоспитанник Ирода четвертовластника, и Савл.
13:1 Now there were in the church that was at Antioch certain prophets and teachers; as Barnabas, and Simeon that was called Niger, and Lucius of Cyrene, and Manaen, which had been brought up with Herod the tetrarch, and Saul.
13:2 Когда они служили Господу и постились, Дух Святый сказал: отделите Мне Варнаву и Савла на дело, к которому Я призвал их.
13:2 As they ministered to the Lord, and fasted, the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) said, Separate me Barnabas and Saul for the work unto which I have called them.
13:3 Тогда они, совершив пост и молитву и возложив на них руки, отпустили их.
13:3 And when they had fasted and prayed, and laid their hands on them, they sent them away.
13:4 Сии, быв посланы Духом Святым, пришли в Селевкию, а оттуда отплыли в Кипр;
13:4 So they, being sent forth by the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) departed unto Seleucia; and from thence they sailed to Cyprus.
13:5 и, быв в Саламине, проповедывали слово Божие в синагогах Иудейских; имели же при себе и Иоанна для служения.
13:5 And when they were at Salamis, they preached the word (o. logos) of God in the synagogues of the Jews: and they had also John to their minister.
13:6 Пройдя весь остров до Пафа, нашли они некоторого волхва, лжепророка, Иудеянина, именем Вариисуса,
13:6 And when they had gone through the isle unto Paphos, they found a certain sorcerer, a false prophet, a Jew, whose name was Barjesus:
13:7 который находился с проконсулом Сергием Павлом, мужем разумным. Сей, призвав Варнаву и Савла, пожелал услышать слово Божие.
13:7 Which was with the deputy of the country, Sergius Paulus, a prudent man; who called for Barnabas and Saul, and desired to hear the word (o. logos) of God.
13:8 А Елима волхв ибо то значит имя его противился им, стараясь отвратить проконсула от веры.
13:8 But Elymas the sorcerer (for so is his name by interpretation) withstood them, seeking to turn away the deputy from the faith.
13:9 Но Савл, он же и Павел, исполнившись Духа Святаго иустремив на него взор,
13:9 Then Saul, (who also is called Paul,) filled with the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) set his eyes on him.
13:10 сказал: о, исполненный всякого коварства и всякого злодейства, сын диавола, враг всякой правды! перестанешь ли ты совращать с прямых путей Господних?
13:10 And said, O full of all subtlety and all mischief, you child of the devil, you enemy of all righteousness, will you not cease to pervert the right ways of the Lord?
13:11 И ныне вот, рука Господня на тебя: ты будешь слеп и не увидишь солнца до времени. И вдруг напал на него мрак и тьма, и он, обращаясь туда и сюда, искал вожатого.
13:11 And now, behold, the hand of the Lord is upon you, and you shall be blind, not seeing the sun for a season. And immediately there fell on him a mist and a darkness; and he went about seeking some to lead him by the hand.
13:12 Тогда проконсул, увидев происшедшее, уверовал, дивясь учению Господню.
13:12 Then the deputy, when he saw what was done, believed, being astonished at the doctrine of the Lord.
13:13 Отплыв из Пафа, Павел и бывшие при нем прибыли в Пергию, в Памфилии. Но Иоанн, отделившись от них, возвратился в Иерусалим.
13:13 Now when Paul and his company loosed from Paphos, they came to Perga in Pamphylia: and John departing from them returned to Jerusalem.
13:14 Они же, проходя от Пергии, прибыли в Антиохию Писидийскую и, войдя в синагогу в день субботний, сели.
13:14 But when they departed from Perga, they came to Antioch in Pisidia, and went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and sat down.
13:15 После чтения закона и пророков, начальники синагоги послали сказать им: мужи братия! если у вас есть слово наставления к народу, говорите.
13:15 And after the reading of the law and the prophets the rulers of the synagogue sent unto them, saying, All of you men and brethren, if all of you have any word (o. logos) of exhortation for the people, say on.
13:16 Павел, встав и дав знак рукою, сказал: мужи Израильтяне и боящиеся Бога! послушайте.
13:16 Then Paul stood up, and beckoning with his hand said, Men of Israel, and all of you that fear God, give audience.
13:17 Бог народа сего избрал отцов наших и возвысил сей народ во время пребывания в земле Египетской, и мышцеювознесенною вывел их из нее,
13:17 The God of this people of Israel chose our fathers, and exalted the people when they dwelt as strangers in the land of Egypt, and with an high arm brought he them out of it.
13:18 и около сорока лет времени питал их в пустыне.
13:18 And about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.
13:19 И, истребив семь народов в земле Ханаанской, разделил им в наследие землю их.
13:19 And when he had destroyed seven nations in the land of Chanaan, he divided their land to them by lot.
13:20 И после сего, около четырехсот пятидесяти лет, давал им судей до пророка Самуила.
13:20 And after that he gave unto them judges about the space of four hundred and fifty years, until Samuel the prophet.
13:21 Потом просили они царя, и Бог дал им Саула, сына Кисова, мужа из колена Вениаминова. Так прошло лет сорок.
13:21 And afterward they desired a king: and God gave unto them Saul the son of Cis, a man of the tribe of Benjamin, by the space of forty years.
13:22 Отринув его, поставил им царем Давида, о котором и сказал, свидетельствуя: нашел Я мужа по сердцу Моему, Давида, сына Иессеева, который исполнит все хотения Мои.
13:22 And when he had removed him, he raised up unto them David to be their king; to whom also he gave their testimony, and said, I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfill all my will.
13:23 Из его-то потомства Бог по обетованию воздвиг Израилю Спасителя Иисуса.
13:23 Of this man's seed has God according to his promise raised unto Israel a Saviour, Jesus:
13:24 Перед самым явлением Его Иоанн проповедывал крещение покаяния всему народу Израильскому.
13:24 When John had first preached before his coming the baptism of repentance to all the people of Israel.
13:25 При окончании же поприща своего, Иоанн говорил: за кого почитаете вы меня? я не тот; но вот, идет за мною, у Которого я недостоин развязать обувь на ногах.
13:25 And as John fulfilled his course, he said, Whom think all of you that I am? I am not he. But, behold, there comes one after me, whose shoes of his feet I am not worthy to loose.
13:26 Мужи братия, дети рода Авраамова, и боящиеся Бога между вами! вам послано слово спасения сего.
13:26 Men and brethren, children of the stock of Abraham, and whosoever among you fears God, to you is the word (o. logos) of this salvation sent.
13:27 Ибо жители Иерусалима и начальники их, не узнав Его и осудив, исполнили слова пророческие, читаемые каждую субботу,
13:27 For they that dwell at Jerusalem, and their rulers, because they knew him not, nor yet the voices of the prophets which are read every sabbath day, they have fulfilled them in condemning him.
13:28 и, не найдя в Нем никакой вины, достойной смерти, просили Пилата убить Его.
13:28 And though they found no cause of death in him, yet desired they Pilate that he should be slain.
13:29 Когда же исполнили все написанное о Нем, то, сняв с древа, положили Его во гроб.
13:29 And when they had fulfilled all that was written of him, they took him down from the tree, and laid him in a tomb.
13:30 Но Бог воскресил Его из мертвых.
13:30 But God raised him from the dead:
13:31 Он в продолжение многих дней являлся тем, которые вышли с Ним из Галилеи в Иерусалим и которые ныне суть свидетели Его перед народом.
13:31 And he was seen many days of them which came up with him from Galilee to Jerusalem, who are his witnesses unto the people.
13:32 И мы благовествуем вам, что обетование, данное отцам, Бог исполнил нам, детям их, воскресив Иисуса,
13:32 And we declare unto you glad tidings, how that the promise which was made unto the fathers,
13:33 как и во втором псалме написано: Ты Сын Мой: Я ныне родил Тебя.
13:33 God has fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he has raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm, You are my Son, this day have I begotten you.
13:34 А что воскресил Его из мертвых, так что Он уже не обратится в тление, о сем сказал так:Я дам вам милости, обещанные Давиду, верно.
13:34 And as concerning that he raised him up from the dead, now no more to return to corruption, he said likewise, I will give you the sure mercies of David.
13:35 Посему и в другом месте говорит: не дашьСвятому Твоему увидеть тление.
13:35 Wherefore he says also in another psalm, You shall not suffer yours Holy One to see corruption.
13:36 Давид, в свое время послужив изволению Божию, почили приложился к отцам своим, и увидел тление;
13:36 For David, after he had served his own generation by the will of God, fell asleep, and was laid unto his fathers, and saw corruption:
13:37 а Тот, Которого Бог воскресил, не увидел тления.
13:37 But he, whom God raised again, saw no corruption.
13:38 Итак, да будет известно вам, мужи братия, что ради Него возвещается вам прощение грехов;
13:38 Be it known unto you therefore, men and brethren, that through this man is preached unto you the forgiveness of sins:
13:39 и во всем, в чем вы не могли оправдаться законом Моисеевым, оправдывается Им всякий верующий.
13:39 And by him all that believe are justified from all things, from which all of you could not be justified by the law of Moses.
13:40 Берегитесь же, чтобы не пришло на вас сказанное у пророков:
13:40 Beware therefore, lest that come upon you, which is spoken of in the prophets;
13:41 смотрите, презрители, подивитесь и исчезните; ибо Я делаю дело во дни ваши, дело, которому не поверили бы вы, если бы кто рассказывал вам.
13:41 Behold, all of you despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which all of you shall in no wise believe, though a man declare it unto you.
13:42 При выходе их из Иудейской синагоги язычники просили их говорить о том же в следующую субботу.
13:42 And when the Jews were gone out of the synagogue, the Gentiles besought that these words (o. rhema) might be preached to them the next sabbath.
13:43 Когда же собрание было распущено, то многие Иудеи и чтители Бога , обращенные из язычников, последовали за Павлом и Варнавою, которые, беседуя с ними, убеждали их пребывать в благодати Божией.
13:43 Now when the congregation was broken up, many of the Jews and religious proselytes followed Paul and Barnabas: who, speaking to them, persuaded them to continue in the grace of God.
13:44 В следующую субботу почти весь город собрался слушать слово Божие.
13:44 And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word (o. logos) of God.
13:45 Но Иудеи, увидев народ, исполнились зависти и,противореча и злословя, сопротивлялись тому, что говорил Павел.
13:45 But when the Jews saw the multitudes, they were filled with envy, and spoke against those things which were spoken by Paul, contradicting and blaspheming.
13:46 Тогда Павел и Варнава с дерзновениемсказали: вам первым надлежало быть проповедану слову Божию, но как вы отвергаете его и сами себя делаете недостойными вечной жизни, то вот, мы обращаемся к язычникам.
13:46 Then Paul and Barnabas waxed bold, and said, It was necessary that the word (o. logos) of God should first have been spoken to you: but seeing all of you put it from you, and judge yourselves unworthy of everlasting life, lo, we turn to the Gentiles.
13:47 Ибо так заповедал нам Господь: Я положил Тебя во свет язычникам, чтобы Ты был во спасение до края земли.
13:47 For so has the Lord commanded us, saying, I have set you to be a light of the Gentiles, that you should be for salvation unto the ends of the earth.
13:48 Язычники, слыша это, радовались и прославляли словоГосподне, и уверовали все, которые были предуставлены к вечной жизни.
13:48 And when the Gentiles heard this, they were glad, and glorified the word (o. logos) of the Lord: and as many as were ordained to eternal life believed.
13:49 И слово Господне распространялось по всей стране.
13:49 And the word (o. logos) of the Lord was published throughout all the region.
13:50 Но Иудеи, подстрекнув набожных и почетных женщин и первых в городе людей , воздвигли гонение на Павла и Варнаву и изгнали их из своих пределов.
13:50 But the Jews stirred up the devout and honourable women, and the chief men of the city, and raised persecution against Paul and Barnabas, and expelled them out of their coasts.
13:51 Они же, отрясши на них прах от ног своих, пошли в Иконию.
13:51 But they shook off the dust of their feet against them, and came unto Iconium.
13:52 А ученики исполнялись радости и Духа Святаго.
13:52 And the disciples were filled with joy, and with the Holy Spirit. (o. pneuma)
14:1 В Иконии они вошли вместе в Иудейскую синагогу и говорили так, что уверовало великое множество Иудеев и Еллинов.
14:1 And it came to pass in Iconium, that they went both together into the synagogue of the Jews, and so spoke, that a great multitude both of the Jews and also of the Greeks believed.
14:2 А неверующие Иудеи возбудили и раздражили против братьев сердца язычников.
14:2 But the unbelieving Jews stirred up the Gentiles, and made their minds evil affected against the brethren.
14:3 Впрочем они пробыли здесь довольно времени, смело действуя о Господе, Который, во свидетельствослову благодати Своей, творил руками их знамения и чудеса.
14:3 Long time therefore abode they speaking boldly in the Lord, which gave testimony unto the word (o. logos) of his grace, and granted signs and wonders to be done by their hands.
14:4 Между тем народ в городе разделился: и одни были на стороне Иудеев, а другие на стороне Апостолов.
14:4 But the multitude of the city was divided: and part held with the Jews, and part with the apostles.
14:5 Когда же язычники и Иудеи со своими начальниками устремились на них, чтобы посрамить и побить их камнями,
14:5 And when there was an assault made both of the Gentiles, and also of the Jews with their rulers, to use them despitefully, and to stone them,
14:6 они, узнав о сем , удалились в Ликаонские города Листру и Дервию и в окрестности их,
14:6 They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lies round about:
14:7 и там благовествовали.
14:7 And there they preached the gospel.
14:8 В Листре некоторый муж, не владевший ногами, сидел, будучи хром от чрева матери своей, и никогда не ходил.
14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
14:9 Он слушал говорившего Павла, который, взглянув на него и увидев, что он имеет веру для получения исцеления,
14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who steadfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith to be healed,
14:10 сказал громким голосом: тебе говорю во имя Господа Иисуса Христа: стань на ноги твои прямо. И он тотчас вскочил и стал ходить.
14:10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on your feet. And he leaped and walked.
14:11 Народ же, увидев, что сделал Павел, возвысил свой голос, говоря по-ликаонски: боги в образе человеческом сошли к нам.
14:11 And when the people saw what Paul had done, they lifted up their voices, saying in the speech of Lycaonia, The gods are come down to us in the likeness of men.
14:12 И называли Варнаву Зевсом, а Павла Ермием, потому что он начальствовал в слове.
14:12 And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker. (o. logos)
14:13 Жрец же идола Зевса, находившегося перед их городом, приведя к воротам волов и принеся венки, хотел вместе с народом совершить жертвоприношение.
14:13 Then the priest of Jupiter, which was before their city, brought oxen and garlands unto the gates, and would have done sacrifice with the people.
14:14 Но Апостолы Варнава и Павел, услышав о сем , разодрали свои одежды и, бросившись в народ, громогласно говорили:
14:14 Which when the apostles, Barnabas and Paul, heard of, they rent their clothes, and ran in among the people, crying out,
14:15 мужи! что вы это делаете? И мы - подобные вам человеки, и благовествуем вам, чтобы вы обратились от сих ложных кБогу Живому, Который сотворил небо и землю, и море, и все, что в них,
14:15 And saying, Sirs, why do all of you these things? We also are men of like passions with you, and preach unto you that all of you should turn from these vanities unto the living God, which made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and all things that are therein:
14:16 Который в прошедших родах попустил всем народам ходить своими путями,
14:16 Who in times past suffered all nations to walk in their own ways.
14:17 хотя и не переставал свидетельствовать о Себе благодеяниями, подавая нам с неба дожди и времена плодоносные и исполняя пищею и веселием сердца наши.
14:17 Nevertheless he left not himself without witness, in that he did good, and gave us rain from heaven, and fruitful seasons, filling our hearts with food and gladness.
14:18 И, говоря сие, они едва убедили народ не приносить им жертвы и идти каждому домой. Между тем, как они, оставаясь там, учили,
14:18 And with these sayings scarce restrained they the people, that they had not done sacrifice unto them.
14:19 из Антиохии и Иконии пришли некоторые Иудеи и, когда Апостолы смело проповедывали,убедили народ отстать от них, говоря: они не говорят ничего истинного, а все лгут. И, возбудив народ, побили Павла камнями и вытащили за город, почитая егоумершим.
14:19 And there came thither certain Jews from Antioch and Iconium, who persuaded the people, and having stoned Paul, drew him out of the city, supposing he had been dead.
14:20 Когда же ученики собрались около него, он встал и пошел в город, а на другой день удалился с Варнавою в Дервию.
14:20 Nevertheless, as the disciples stood round about him, he rose up, and came into the city: and the next day he departed with Barnabas to Derbe.
14:21 Проповедав Евангелие сему городу и приобретя довольно учеников, они обратно проходили Листру, Иконию и Антиохию,
14:21 And when they had preached the gospel to that city, and had taught many, they returned again to Lystra, and to Iconium, and Antioch,
14:22 утверждая души учеников, увещевая пребывать в вереи поучая , что многими скорбями надлежит нам войти в Царствие Божие.
14:22 Confirming the souls of the disciples, and exhorting them to continue in the faith, and that we must through much tribulation enter into the kingdom of God.
14:23 Рукоположив же им пресвитеров к каждой церкви, они помолились с постом и предали их Господу, в Которого уверовали.
14:23 And when they had ordained them elders in every church, and had prayed with fasting, they commended them to the Lord, on whom they believed.
14:24 Потом, пройдя через Писидию, пришли в Памфилию,
14:24 And after they had passed throughout Pisidia, they came to Pamphylia.
14:25 и, проповедав слово Господне в Пергии, сошли в Атталию;
14:25 And when they had preached the word (o. logos) in Perga, they went down into Attalia:
14:26 а оттуда отплыли в Антиохию, откуда были преданы благодати Божией на дело, которое и исполнили.
14:26 And thence sailed to Antioch, from whence they had been recommended to the grace of God for the work which they fulfilled.
14:27 Прибыв туда и собрав церковь, они рассказали все, чтосотворил Бог с ними и как Он отверз дверь веры язычникам.
14:27 And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all that God had done with them, and how he had opened the door of faith unto the Gentiles.
14:28 И пребывали там немалое время с учениками.
14:28 And there they abode long time with the disciples.
15:1 Некоторые, пришедшие из Иудеи, учили братьев: если не обрежетесь по обряду Моисееву, не можетеспастись.
15:1 And certain men which came down from Judaea taught the brethren, and said, Except all of you be circumcised after the manner of Moses, all of you cannot be saved.
15:2 Когда же произошло разногласие и немалое состязание у Павла и Варнавы с ними, то положили Павлу и Варнаве и некоторым другим из них отправиться по сему делу к Апостолам ипресвитерам в Иерусалим.
15:2 When therefore Paul and Barnabas had no small dissension and disputation with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain other of them, should go up to Jerusalem unto the apostles and elders about this question.
15:3 Итак, быв провожены церковью, они проходили Финикию и Самарию, рассказывая об обращении язычников, и производили радость великую во всех братиях.
15:3 And being brought on their way by the church, they passed through Phenice and Samaria, declaring the conversion of the Gentiles: and they caused great joy unto all the brethren.
15:4 По прибытии же в Иерусалим они были приняты церковью, Апостолами и пресвитерами, и возвестили все, что Бог сотворил с ними и как отверз дверь веры язычникам.
15:4 And when they were come to Jerusalem, they were received of the church, and of the apostles and elders, and they declared all things that God had done with them.
15:5 Тогда восстали некоторые из фарисейской ереси уверовавшие и говорили, что должно обрезывать язычников и заповедывать соблюдать закон Моисеев.
15:5 But there rose up certain of the sect of the Pharisees which believed, saying, That it was necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.
15:6 Апостолы и пресвитеры собрались для рассмотрения сего дела.
15:6 And the apostles and elders came together in order to consider of this matter. (o. logos)
15:7 По долгом рассуждении Петр, встав, сказал им: мужи братия! вы знаете, что Бог от дней первыхизбрал из нас меня , чтобы из уст моих язычники услышали слово Евангелия и уверовали;
15:7 And when there had been much disputing, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Men and brethren, all of you know how that a good while ago God made choice among us, that the Gentiles by my mouth should hear the word (o. logos) of the gospel, and believe.
15:8 и Сердцеведец Бог дал им свидетельство, даровав им Духа Святаго, как и нам;
15:8 And God, which knows the hearts, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) even as he did unto us;
15:9 и не положил никакого различия между нами и ими, верою очистив сердца их.
15:9 And put no difference between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith.
15:10 Что же вы ныне искушаете Бога, желая возложить на выи учеников иго, которого не могли понести ни отцы наши, ни мы?
15:10 Now therefore why tempt all of you God, to put a yoke upon the neck of the disciples, which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear?
15:11 Но мы веруем, что благодатию Господа Иисуса Христа спасемся, как и они.
15:11 But we believe that through the grace of the LORD Jesus Christ we shall be saved, even as they.
15:12 Тогда умолкло все собрание и слушало Варнаву и Павла, рассказывавших, какие знамения и чудеса сотворил Бог через них среди язычников.
15:12 Then all the multitude kept silence, and gave audience to Barnabas and Paul, declaring what miracles and wonders God had wrought among the Gentiles by them.
15:13 После же того, как они умолкли, начал речь Иаков и сказал: мужи братия! послушайте меня.
15:13 And after they had held their peace, James answered, saying, Men and brethren, hearken unto me:
15:14 Симон изъяснил, как Бог первоначально призрел на язычников, чтобы составить из них народ во имя Свое.
15:14 Simeon has declared how God at the first did visit the Gentiles, to take out of them a people for his name.
15:15 И с сим согласны слова пророков, как написано:
15:15 And to this agree the words (o. logos) of the prophets; as it is written,
15:16 Потом обращусь и воссоздам скинию Давидову падшую, и то, что в ней разрушено, воссоздам, и исправлю ее,
15:16 After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and I will set it up:
15:17 чтобы взыскали Господа прочие человеки и все народы, между которыми возвестится имя Мое, говорит Господь,творящий все сие.
15:17 That the residue of men might seek after the Lord, and all the Gentiles, upon whom my name is called, says the Lord, who does all these things.
15:18 Ведомы Богу от вечности все дела Его.
15:18 Known unto God are all his works from the beginning of the world.
15:19 Посему я полагаю не затруднять обращающихся к Богу из язычников,
15:19 Wherefore my sentence is, that we trouble not them, which from among the Gentiles are turned to God:
15:20 а написать им, чтобы они воздерживались от оскверненного идолами, от блуда, удавленины и крови, и чтобы не делали другим того, чего не хотят себе.
15:20 But that we write unto them, that they abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from things strangled, and from blood.
15:21 Ибо закон Моисеев от древних родов по всем городам имеет проповедующих его и читается в синагогах каждую субботу.
15:21 For Moses of old time has in every city them that preach him, being read in the synagogues every sabbath day.
15:22 Тогда Апостолы и пресвитеры со всею церковью рассудили, избрав из среды себя мужей, послать их вАнтиохию с Павлом и Варнавою, именно : Иуду, прозываемого Варсавою, и Силу, мужей, начальствующих между братиями,
15:22 Then pleased it the apostles and elders with the whole church, to send chosen men of their own company to Antioch with Paul and Barnabas; namely, Judas surnamed Barsabas and Silas, chief men among the brethren:
15:23 написав и вручив им следующее: „Апостолы и пресвитерыи братия - находящимся в Антиохии, Сирии и Киликии братиям из язычников: радоваться.
15:23 And they wrote letters by them after this manner; The apostles and elders and brethren send greeting unto the brethren which are of the Gentiles in Antioch and Syria and Cilicia.
15:24 Поелику мы услышали, что некоторые, вышедшие от нас,смутили вас своими речами и поколебали ваши души, говоря, что должно обрезываться и соблюдать закон, чего мы им не поручали,
15:24 Forasmuch as we have heard, that certain which went out from us have troubled you with words, (o. logos) subverting your souls, saying, All of you must be circumcised, and keep the law: to whom we gave no such commandment:
15:25 то мы, собравшись, единодушно рассудили, избрав мужей, послать их к вам с возлюбленными нашими Варнавою и Павлом,
15:25 It seemed good unto us, being assembled with one accord, to send chosen men unto you with our beloved Barnabas and Paul,
15:26 человеками, предавшими души свои за имя Господа нашего Иисуса Христа.
15:26 Men that have hazarded their lives for the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.
15:27 Итак мы послали Иуду и Силу, которые изъяснят вам то же и словесно.
15:27 We have sent therefore Judas and Silas, who shall also tell you the same things by mouth. (o. logos)
15:28 Ибо угодно Святому Духу и нам не возлагать на вас никакого бремени более, кроме сего необходимого:
15:28 For it seemed good to the Holy Spirit, (o. pneuma) and to us, to lay upon you no greater burden than these necessary things;
15:29 воздерживаться от идоложертвенного и крови, и удавленины, и блуда, и не делать другим того, чего себе не хотите. Соблюдая сие, хорошо сделаете. Будьте здравы".
15:29 That all of you abstain from meats offered to idols, and from blood, and from things strangled, and from fornication: from which if all of you keep yourselves, all of you shall do well. Fare all of you well.
15:30 Итак, отправленные пришли в Антиохию и, собрав людей, вручили письмо.
15:30 So when they were dismissed, they came to Antioch: and when they had gathered the multitude together, they delivered the epistle:
15:31 Они же, прочитав, возрадовались о сем наставлении.
15:31 Which when they had read, they rejoiced for the consolation.
15:32 Иуда и Сила, будучи также пророками, обильным словом преподали наставление братиям и утвердили их.
15:32 And Judas and Silas, being prophets also themselves, exhorted the brethren with many words, (o. logos) and confirmed them.
15:33 Пробыв там некоторое время, они с миром отпущены были братиями к Апостолам.
15:33 And after they had tarried there a space, they were let go in peace from the brethren unto the apostles.
15:34 Но Силе рассудилось остаться там.(А Иуда возвратился в Иерусалим.)
15:34 Notwithstanding it pleased Silas to abide there still.
15:35 Павел же и Варнава жили в Антиохии, уча и благовествуя, вместе с другими многими, слово Господне.
15:35 Paul also and Barnabas continued in Antioch, teaching and preaching the word (o. logos) of the Lord, with many others also.
15:36 По некотором времени Павел сказал Варнаве: пойдем опять, посетим братьев наших по всем городам,в которых мы проповедали слово Господне, как они живут.
15:36 And some days after Paul said unto Barnabas, Let us go again and visit our brethren in every city where we have preached the word (o. logos) of the LORD, and see how they do.
15:37 Варнава хотел взять с собою Иоанна, называемого Марком.
15:37 And Barnabas determined to take with them John, whose surname was Mark.
15:38 Но Павел полагал не брать отставшегоот них в Памфилии и не шедшего с ними на дело, на которое они были посланы.
15:38 But Paul thought not good to take him with them, who departed from them from Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work.
15:39 Отсюда произошло огорчение, так что они разлучились другс другом; и Варнава, взяв Марка, отплыл вКипр;
15:39 And the contention was so sharp between them, that they departed asunder one from the other: and so Barnabas took Mark, and sailed unto Cyprus;
15:40 а Павел, избрав себе Силу, отправился, быв поручен братиями благодати Божией,
15:40 And Paul chose Silas, and departed, being recommended by the brethren unto the grace of God.
15:41 и проходил Сирию и Киликию, утверждая церкви.
15:41 And he went through Syria and Cilicia, confirming the churches.
16:1 Дошел он до Дервии и Листры. И вот, там был некоторый ученик, именем Тимофей, которого мать была Иудеянка уверовавшая, а отец Еллин,
16:1 Then came he to Derbe and Lystra: and, behold, a certain disciple was there, named Timotheus, the son of a certain woman, which was a Jewess, and believed; but his father was a Greek:
16:2 и о котором свидетельствовали братия, находившиеся в Листре и Иконии.
16:2 Which was well reported of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium.
16:3 Его пожелал Павел взять с собою; и, взяв, обрезал его ради Иудеев, находившихся в тех местах; ибо все знали об отце его, что он был Еллин.
16:3 Him would Paul have to go forth with him; and took and circumcised him because of the Jews which were in those quarters: for they knew all that his father was a Greek.
16:4 Проходя же по городам, они предавали верным соблюдать определения, постановленные Апостолами и пресвитерами вИерусалиме.
16:4 And as they went through the cities, they delivered them the decrees in order to keep, that were ordained of the apostles and elders which were at Jerusalem.
16:5 И церкви утверждались верою и ежедневно увеличивались числом.
16:5 And so were the churches established in the faith, and increased in number daily.
16:6 Пройдя через Фригию и Галатийскую страну, они не были допущены Духом Святым проповедывать слово в Асии.
16:6 Now when they had gone throughout Phrygia and the region of Galatia, and were forbidden of the Holy Spirit (o. pneuma) to preach the word (o. logos) in Asia,
16:7 Дойдя до Мисии, предпринимали идти в Вифинию; но Дух не допустил их.
16:7 After they were come to Mysia, they assayed to go into Bithynia: but the Spirit (o. pneuma) suffered them not.
16:8 Миновав же Мисию, сошли они в Троаду.
16:8 And they passing by Mysia came down to Troas.
16:9 И было ночью видение Павлу: предстал некий муж, Македонянин, прося его и говоря: приди в Македонию и помоги нам.
16:9 And a vision appeared to Paul in the night; There stood a man of Macedonia, and prayed him, saying, Come over into Macedonia, and help us.
16:10 После сего видения, тотчас мы положили отправиться в Македонию, заключая, что призывал нас Господь благовествовать там.
16:10 And after he had seen the vision, immediately we endeavoured to go into Macedonia, assuredly gathering that the Lord had called us in order to preach the gospel unto them.
16:11 Итак, отправившись из Троады, мы прямо прибыли в Самофракию, а на другой день в Неаполь,
16:11 Therefore loosing from Troas, we came with a straight course to Samothracia, and the next day to Neapolis;
16:12 оттуда же в Филиппы: это первый город в той частиМакедонии, колония. В этом городе мы пробыли несколько дней.
16:12 And from thence to Philippi, which is the chief city of that part of Macedonia, and a colony: and we were in that city abiding certain days.
16:13 В день же субботний мы вышли за город к реке, где, по обыкновению, был молитвенный дом, и, сев, разговаривали с собравшимися там женщинами.
16:13 And on the sabbath we went out of the city by a river side, where prayer was known to be made; and we sat down, and spoke unto the women which resorted thither.
16:14 И одна женщина из города Фиатир, именем Лидия, торговавшая багряницею, чтущая Бога, слушала; и Господь отверз сердце ее внимать тому, что говорил Павел.
16:14 And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, which worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, that she attended unto the things which were spoken of Paul.
16:15 Когда же крестилась она и домашние ее, то просила нас,говоря: если вы признали меня верною Господу, то войдитев дом мой и живите у меня . И убедила нас.
16:15 And when she was baptized, and her household, she besought us, saying, If all of you have judged me to be faithful to the Lord, come into my house, and abide there. And she constrained us.
16:16 Случилось, что, когда мы шли в молитвенный дом, встретилась нам одна служанка, одержимая духом прорицательным, которая через прорицание доставляла большой доход господам своим.
16:16 And it came to pass, as we went to prayer, a certain damsel possessed with a spirit (o. pneuma) of divination met us, which brought her masters much gain by soothsaying:
16:17 Идя за Павлом и за нами, она кричала, говоря: сии человеки - рабы Бога Всевышнего, которые возвещают нам путь спасения.
16:17 The same followed Paul and us, and cried, saying, These men are the servants of the most high God, which show unto us the way of salvation.
16:18 Это она делала много дней. Павел, вознегодовав, обратился и сказал духу: именем Иисуса Христа повелеваю тебе выйти из нее. И дух вышел в тот же час.
16:18 And this did she many days. But Paul, being grieved, turned and said to the spirit, (o. pneuma) I command you in the name of Jesus Christ to come out of her. And he came out the same hour.
16:19 Тогда господа ее, видя, что исчезла надежда дохода их, схватили Павла и Силу и повлекли на площадь к начальникам.
16:19 And when her masters saw that the hope of their gains was gone, they caught Paul and Silas, and drew them into the marketplace unto the rulers,
16:20 И, приведя их к воеводам, сказали: сии люди, будучи Иудеями, возмущают наш город
16:20 And brought them to the magistrates, saying, These men, being Jews, do exceedingly trouble our city,
16:21 и проповедуют обычаи, которых нам, Римлянам, не следует ни принимать, ни исполнять.
16:21 And teach customs, which are not lawful for us to receive, neither to observe, being Romans.
16:22 Народ также восстал на них, а воеводы, сорвав с них одежды, велели бить их палками
16:22 And the multitude rose up together against them: and the magistrates rent off their clothes, and commanded to beat them.
16:23 и, дав им много ударов, ввергли в темницу, приказав темничному стражу крепко стеречь их.
16:23 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the jailor to keep them safely:
16:24 Получив такое приказание, он ввергнул их во внутреннюю темницу и ноги их забил в колоду.
16:24 Who, having received such a charge, thrust them into the inner prison, and made their feet fast in the stocks.
16:25 Около полуночи Павел и Сила, молясь, воспевали Бога; узники же слушали их.
16:25 And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed, and sang praises unto God: and the prisoners heard them.
16:26 Вдруг сделалось великое землетрясение, так что поколебалось основание темницы; тотчас отворились все двери, и у всех узы ослабели.
16:26 And suddenly there was a great earthquake, so that the foundations of the prison were shaken: and immediately all the doors were opened, and every one's bands were loosed.
16:27 Темничный же страж, пробудившись и увидев, что двери темницы отворены, извлек меч и хотел умертвить себя, думая, что узники убежали.
16:27 And the keeper of the prison awaking out of his sleep, and seeing the prison doors open, he drew out his sword, and would have killed himself, supposing that the prisoners had been fled.
16:28 Но Павел возгласил громким голосом, говоря: не делай себе никакого зла, ибо все мы здесь.
16:28 But Paul cried with a loud voice, saying, Do yourself no harm: for we are all here.
16:29 Он потребовал огня, вбежал в темницу и в трепете припал к Павлу и Силе,
16:29 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas,
16:30 и, выведя их вон, сказал: государи мои ! чтомне делать, чтобы спастись?
16:30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
16:31 Они же сказали: веруй в Господа Иисуса Христа, и спасешься ты и весь дом твой.
16:31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you shall be saved, and your house.
16:32 И проповедали слово Господне ему и всем, бывшим в доме его.
16:32 And they spoke unto him the word (o. logos) of the Lord, and to all that were in his house.
16:33 И, взяв их в тот час ночи, он омыл раны их и немедленно крестился сам и все домашние его.
16:33 And he took them the same hour of the night, and washed their stripes; and was baptized, he and all his, immediately.
16:34 И, приведя их в дом свой, предложил трапезу и возрадовался со всем домом своим, что уверовал вБога.
16:34 And when he had brought them into his house, he set food before them, and rejoiced, believing in God with all his house.
16:35 Когда же настал день, воеводы послали городских служителей сказать: отпусти тех людей.
16:35 And when it was day, the magistrates sent the sergeants, saying, Let those men go.
16:36 Темничный страж объявил о сем Павлу: воеводы прислали отпустить вас; итак выйдите теперь и идите смиром.
16:36 And the keeper of the prison told this saying (o. logos) to Paul, The magistrates have sent to let you go: now therefore depart, and go in peace.
16:37 Но Павел сказал к ним: нас, Римских граждан, без суда всенародно били и бросили в темницу, а теперь тайно выпускают? нет, пусть придут и сами выведут нас.
16:37 But Paul said unto them, They have beaten us openly uncondemned, being Romans, and have cast us into prison; and now do they thrust us out privately? nay verily; but let them come themselves and fetch us out.
16:38 Городские служители пересказали эти слова воеводам, и те испугались, услышав, что это Римские граждане.
16:38 And the sergeants told these words (o. rhema) unto the magistrates: and they feared, when they heard that they were Romans.
16:39 И, придя, извинились перед ними и, выведя, просили удалиться из города.
16:39 And they came and besought them, and brought them out, and desired them to depart out of the city.
16:40 Они же, выйдя из темницы, пришли к Лидии и, увидев братьев, поучали их, и отправились.
16:40 And they went out of the prison, and entered into the house of Lydia: and when they had seen the brethren, they comforted them, and departed.
