Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

25:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

25:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

25:2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia los hijos de Ammón, y profetiza sobre ellos.

25:2 Son of man, set your face against the Ammonites, and prophesy against them;

25:3 Y dirás á los hijos de Ammón: Oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijiste ¡Ea! acerca de mi santuario que fué profanado, y sobre la tierra de Israel que fué asolada, y sobre la casa de Judá, porque fueron en cautiverio;

25:3 And say unto the Ammonites, Hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD; Because you said, Aha, against my sanctuary, when it was profaned; and against the land of Israel, when it was desolate; and against the house of Judah, when they went into captivity;

25:4 Por tanto, he aquí, yo te entrego á los Orientales por heredad, y pondrán en ti sus apriscos, y colocarán en ti sus tiendas: ellos comerán tus sementeras, y beberán tu leche.

25:4 Behold, therefore I will deliver you to the men of the east for a possession, and they shall set their palaces in you, and make their dwellings in you: they shall eat your fruit, and they shall drink your milk.

25:5 Y pondré á Rabba por habitación de camellos, y á los hijos de Ammón por majada de ovejas; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

25:5 And I will make Rabbah a stable for camels, and the Ammonites a couching place for flocks: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

25:6 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto tú batiste tus manos, y pateaste, y te gozaste del alma en todo tu menosprecio sobre la tierra de Israel;

25:6 For thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have clapped yours hands, and stamped with the feet, and rejoiced in heart with all your despite against the land of Israel;

25:7 Por tanto, he aquí yo extenderé mi mano sobre ti, y te entregaré á las gentes para ser saqueada; y yo te cortaré de entre los pueblos, y te destruiré de entre las tierras: te raeré; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.

25:7 Behold, therefore I will stretch out mine hand upon you, and will deliver you for a spoil to the heathen; and I will cut you off from the people, and I will cause you to perish out of the countries: I will destroy you; and you shall know that I am the LORD.

25:8 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dijo Moab y Seir: He aquí la casa de Judá es como todas las gentes;

25:8 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because that Moab and Seir do say, Behold, the house of Judah is like unto all the heathen;

25:9 Por tanto, he aquí yo abro el lado de Moab desde las ciudades, desde sus ciudades que están en su confín, las tierras deseables de Beth-jesi-moth, y Baal-meón, y Chîriathaim,

25:9 Therefore, behold, I will open the side of Moab from the cities, from his cities which are on his frontiers, the glory of the country, Bethjeshimoth, Baalmeon, and Kiriathaim,

25:10 A los hijos del oriente contra los hijos de Ammón; y entregaréla por heredad para que no haya más memoria de los hijos de Ammón entre las gentes.

25:10 Unto the men of the east with the Ammonites, and will give them in possession, that the Ammonites may not be remembered among the nations.

25:11 También en Moab haré juicios; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

25:11 And I will execute judgments upon Moab; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

25:12 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hizo Edom tomando venganza de la casa de Judá, pues delinquieron en extremo, y se vengaron de ellos;

25:12 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because that Edom has dealt against the house of Judah by taking vengeance, and has greatly offended, and revenged himself upon them;

25:13 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo también extenderé mi mano sobre Edom, y talaré de ella hombres y bestias, y la asolaré: desde Temán y Dedán caerán á cuchillo.

25:13 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I will also stretch out mine hand upon Edom, and will cut off man and beast from it; and I will make it desolate from Teman; and they of Dedan shall fall by the sword.

25:14 Y pondré mi venganza en Edom por la mano de mi pueblo Israel; y harán en Edom según mi enojo y según mi ira: y conocerán mi venganza, dice el Señor Jehová.

25:14 And I will lay my vengeance upon Edom by the hand of my people Israel: and they shall do in Edom according to mine anger and according to my fury; and they shall know my vengeance, says the Lord GOD.

25:15 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por lo que hicieron los Palestinos con venganza, cuando se vengaron con despecho de ánimo, destruyendo por antiguas enemistades;

25:15 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because the Philistines have dealt by revenge, and have taken vengeance with a despiteful heart, to destroy it for the old hatred;

25:16 Por tanto, así ha dicho Jehová: He aquí yo extiendo mi mano sobre los Palestinos, y talaré los Ceretheos, y destruiré el resto de la ribera de la mar.

25:16 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will stretch out mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

25:17 Y haré en ellos grandes venganzas con reprensiones de ira; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando diere mi venganza en ellos.

25:17 And I will execute great vengeance upon them with furious rebukes; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall lay my vengeance upon them.

26:1 Y ACONTECIO en el undécimo año, en el primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

26:1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

26:2 Hijo del hombre, por cuanto dijo Tiro sobre Jerusalem: Ea, bien: quebrantada es la que era puerta de las naciones: á mí se volvió: seré llena; ella desierta:

26:2 Son of man, because that Tyrus has said against Jerusalem, Aha, she is broken that was the gates of the people: she is turned unto me: I shall be replenished, now she is laid waste:

26:3 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Tiro, y haré subir contra ti muchas gentes, como la mar hace subir sus ondas.

26:3 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Tyrus, and will cause many nations to come up against you, as the sea causes his waves to come up.

26:4 Y demolerán los muros de Tiro, y derribarán sus torres: y raeré de ella su polvo, y la dejaré como una peña lisa.

26:4 And they shall destroy the walls of Tyrus, and break down her towers: I will also scrape her dust from her, and make her like the top of a rock.

26:5 Tendedero de redes será en medio de la mar, porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová: y será saqueada de las gentes.

26:5 It shall be a place for the spreading of nets in the midst of the sea: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD: and it shall become a spoil to the nations.

26:6 Y sus hijas que están en el campo, serán muertas á cuchillo; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

26:6 And her daughters which are in the field shall be slain by the sword; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

26:7 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que del aquilón traigo yo contra Tiro á Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, rey de reyes, con caballos, y carros, y caballeros, y compañías, y mucho pueblo.

26:7 For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring upon Tyrus Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon, a king of kings, from the north, with horses, and with chariots, and with horsemen, and companies, and much people.

26:8 Tus hijas que están en el campo matará á cuchillo; y pondrá contra ti ingenios, y fundará contra ti baluarte, y afirmará contra ti escudo.

26:8 He shall slay with the sword your daughters in the field: and he shall make a fort against you, and cast a mount against you, and lift up the buckler against you.

26:9 Y pondrá contra ella arietes, contra tus muros, y tus torres destruirá con sus martillos.

26:9 And he shall set engines of war against your walls, and with his axes he shall break down your towers.

26:10 Por la multitud de sus caballos te cubrirá el polvo de ellos: con el estruendo de los caballeros, y de las ruedas, y de los carros, temblarán tus muros, cuando entrare por tus puertas como por portillos de ciudad destruída.

26:10 By reason of the abundance of his horses their dust shall cover you: your walls shall shake at the noise of the horsemen, and of the wheels, and of the chariots, when he shall enter into your gates, as men enter into a city wherein is made a breach.

26:11 Con las uñas de sus caballos hollará todas tus calles; á tu pueblo matará á cuchillo, y las estatuas de tu fortaleza caerán á tierra.

26:11 With the hoofs of his horses shall he tread down all your streets: he shall slay your people by the sword, and your strong garrisons shall go down to the ground.

26:12 Y robarán tus riquezas, y saquearán tus mercaderías: y arruinarán tus muros, y tus casas preciosas destruirán; y pondrán tus piedras y tu madera y tu polvo en medio de las aguas.

26:12 And they shall make a spoil of your riches, and make a prey of your merchandise: and they shall break down your walls, and destroy your pleasant houses: and they shall lay your stones and your timber and your dust in the midst of the water.

26:13 Y haré cesar el estrépito de tus canciones, y no se oirá más el son de tus vihuelas.

26:13 And I will cause the noise of your songs to cease; and the sound of your harps shall be no more heard.

26:14 Y te pondré como una peña lisa: tendedero de redes serás; ni nunca más serás edificada: porque yo Jehová he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.

26:14 And I will make you like the top of a rock: you shall be a place to spread nets upon; you shall be built no more: for I the LORD have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.

26:15 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á Tiro: ¿No se estremecerán las islas al estruendo de tu caída, cuando gritarán los heridos, cuando se hará la matanza en medio de ti?

26:15 Thus says the Lord GOD to Tyrus; Shall not the isles shake at the sound of your fall, when the wounded cry, when the slaughter is made in the midst of you?

26:16 Entonces todos los príncipes de la mar descenderán de sus sillas, y se quitarán sus mantos, y desnudarán sus bordadas ropas: de espanto se vestirán, sentaránse sobre la tierra, y temblarán á cada momento, y estarán sobre ti atónitos.

26:16 Then all the princes of the sea shall come down from their thrones, and lay away their robes, and put off their broidered garments: they shall clothe themselves with trembling; they shall sit upon the ground, and shall tremble at every moment, and be astonished at you.

26:17 Y levantarán sobre ti endechas, y te dirán: ¿Cómo pereciste tú, poblada en los mares, ciudad que fué alabada, que fué fuerte en la mar, ella y sus habitantes, que ponían su espanto á todos sus moradores?

26:17 And they shall take up a lamentation for you, and say to you, How are you destroyed, that were inhabited of seafaring men, the renowned city, which were strong in the sea, she and her inhabitants, which cause their terror to be on all that haunt it!

26:18 Ahora se estremecerán las islas en el día de tu caída, sí, las islas que están en la mar se espantarán de tu éxito.

26:18 Now shall the isles tremble in the day of your fall; yea, the isles that are in the sea shall be troubled at your departure.

26:19 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo te tornaré ciudad asolada, como las ciudades que no se habitan; haré subir sobre ti el abismo, y las muchas aguas te cubrirán.

26:19 For thus says the Lord GOD; When I shall make you a desolate city, like the cities that are not inhabited; when I shall bring up the deep upon you, and great waters shall cover you;

26:20 Y te haré descender con los que descienden al sepulcro, con el pueblo del siglo: y te pondré en lo más bajo de la tierra, como los desiertos antiguos, con los que descienden al sepulcro, para que nunca más seas poblada; y yo daré gloria en la tierra de los vivientes.

26:20 When I shall bring you down with them that descend into the pit, with the people of old time, and shall set you in the low parts of the earth, in places desolate of old, with them that go down to the pit, that you be not inhabited; and I shall set glory in the land of the living;

26:21 Yo te tornaré en espanto, y no serás: y serás buscada, y nunca más serás hallada, dice el Señor Jehová.

26:21 I will make you a terror, and you shall be no more: though you be sought for, yet shall you never be found again, says the Lord GOD.

27:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

27:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

27:2 Y tú, hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre Tiro.

27:2 Now, you son of man, take up a lamentation for Tyrus;

27:3 Y dirás á Tiro, que está asentada á las entradas de la mar, mercadera de los pueblos de muchas islas: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Tiro, tú has dicho: Yo soy de perfecta hermosura.

27:3 And say unto Tyrus, O you that are situated at the entry of the sea, which are a merchant of the people for many isles, Thus says the Lord GOD; O Tyrus, you have said, I am of perfect beauty.

27:4 En el corazón de las mares están tus términos: los que te edificaron completaron tu belleza.

27:4 Your borders are in the midst of the seas, your builders have perfected your beauty.

27:5 De hayas del monte Senir te fabricaron todas las tillas: tomaron cedros del Líbano para hacerte el mástil.

27:5 They have made all your ship boards of fir trees of Senir: they have taken cedars from Lebanon to make masts for you.

27:6 De castaños de Basán hicieron tus remos: compañía de Asirios hicieron tus bancos de marfil de las islas de Chittim.

27:6 Of the oaks of Bashan have they made yours oars; the company of the Ashurites have made your benches of ivory, brought out of the isles of Chittim.

27:7 De fino lino bordado de Egipto fué tu cortina, para que te sirviese de vela; de cárdeno y grana de las islas de Elisah fué tu pabellón.

27:7 Fine linen with broidered work from Egypt was that which you spread forth to be your sail; blue and purple from the isles of Elishah was that which covered you.

27:8 Los moradores de Sidón y de Arvad fueron tus remeros: tus sabios, oh Tiro, estaban en ti; ellos fueron tus pilotos.

27:8 The inhabitants of Zidon and Arvad were your seamen: your wise men, O Tyrus, that were in you, were your pilots.

27:9 Los ancianos de Gebal y sus sabios repararon tus hendiduras: todas las galeras de la mar y los remeros de ellas fueron en ti para negociar tus negocios.

27:9 The ancients of Gebal and the wise men thereof were in you your repairer of breaches: all the ships of the sea with their seamen were in you to occupy your merchandise.

27:10 Persas y Lidios, y los de Phut, fueron en tu ejército tus hombres de guerra: escudos y capacetes colgaron en ti; ellos te dieron tu honra.

27:10 They of Persia and of Lud and of Phut were in yours army, your men of war: they hanged the shield and helmet in you; they set forth your loveliness.

27:11 Y los hijos de Arvad con tu ejército estuvieron sobre tus muros alrededor, y los Gammadeos en tus torres: sus escudos colgaron sobre tus muros alrededor; ellos completaron tu hermosura.

27:11 The men of Arvad with yours army were upon your walls round about, and the Gammadims (p. mercenaries) were in your towers: they hanged their shields upon your walls round about; they have made your beauty perfect.

27:12 Tarsis tu mercadera á causa de la multitud de todas riquezas en plata, hierro, estaño, y plomo, dió en tus ferias.

27:12 Tarshish was your merchant by reason of the multitude of all kind of riches; with silver, iron, tin, and lead, they traded in your fairs.

27:13 Grecia, Tubal, y Mesec, tus mercaderes, con hombres y con vasos de metal, dieron en tus ferias.

27:13 Javan, Tubal, and Meshech, they were your merchants: they traded the persons of men and vessels of brass in your market.

27:14 De la casa de Togarma, caballos y caballeros y mulos, dieron en tu mercado.

27:14 They of the house of Togarmah traded in your fairs with horses and horsemen and mules.

27:15 Los hijos de Dedán eran tus negociantes: muchas islas tomaban mercadería de tu mano; cuernos de marfil y pavos te dieron en presente.

27:15 The men of Dedan were your merchants; many isles were the merchandise of yours hand: they brought you for a present horns of ivory and ebony.

27:16 Siria fué tu mercadera por la multitud de tus labores: con perlas, y púrpura, y vestidos bordados, y linos finos, y corales, y rubíes, dió en tus ferias.

27:16 Syria was your merchant by reason of the multitude of the wares of your making: they occupied in your fairs with emeralds, purple, and broidered work, and fine linen, and coral, and agate.

27:17 Judá, y la tierra de Israel, eran tus mercaderes: con trigos de Minith, y pannah, y miel, y aceite, y resina, dieron en tu mercado.

27:17 Judah, and the land of Israel, they were your merchants: they traded in your market wheat of Minnith, and Pannag, and honey, and oil, and balm.

27:18 Damasco, tu mercadera por la multitud de tus labores, por la abundancia de todas riquezas, con vino de Helbón, y lana blanca.

27:18 Damascus was your merchant in the multitude of the wares of your making, for the multitude of all riches; in the wine of Helbon, and white wool.

27:19 Asimismo Dan y el errante Javán dieron en tus ferias, para negociar en tu mercado de hierro labrado, mirra destilada, y caña aromática.

27:19 Dan also and Javan going back and forth occupied in your fairs: bright iron, cassia, and calamus, were in your market.

27:20 Dedán fué tu mercadera con paños preciosos para carros.

27:20 Dedan was your merchant in precious clothes for chariots.

27:21 Arabia y todos los príncipes de Cedar, mercaderes de tu mano en corderos, y carneros, y machos cabríos: en estas cosas fueron tus mercaderes.

27:21 Arabia, and all the princes of Kedar, they occupied with you in lambs, and rams, and goats: in these were they your merchants.

27:22 Los mercaderes de Seba y de Raama fueron tus mercaderes: con lo principal de toda especiería, y toda piedra preciosa, y oro, dieron en tus ferias.

27:22 The merchants of Sheba and Raamah, they were your merchants: they occupied in your fairs with chief of all spices, and with all precious stones, and gold.

27:23 Harán, y Canneh, y Edén, los mercaderes de Seba, de Asiria, y Chilmad, contigo contrataban.

27:23 Haran, and Canneh, and Eden, the merchants of Sheba, Asshur, and Chilmad, were your merchants.

27:24 Estos tus mercaderes negociaban contigo en varias cosas: en mantos de jacinto, y bordados, y en cajas de ropas preciosas, enlazadas con cordones, y en madera de cedro.

27:24 These were your merchants in all sorts of things, in blue clothes, and broidered work, and in chests of rich apparel, bound with cords, and made of cedar, among your merchandise.

27:25 Las naves de Tarsis, tus cuadrillas, fueron en tu negociación: y fuiste llena, y fuiste multiplicada en gran manera en medio de los mares.

27:25 The ships of Tarshish did sing of you in your market: and you were replenished, and made very glorious in the midst of the seas.

27:26 En muchas aguas te engolfaron tus remeros: viento solano te quebrantó en medio de los mares.

27:26 Your rowers have brought you into great waters: the east wind has broken you in the midst of the seas.

27:27 Tus riquezas, y tus mercaderías, y tu negociación, tus remeros, y tus pilotos, los reparadores de tus hendiduras, y los agentes de tus negocios, y todos tus hombres de guerra que hay en ti, con toda tu compañía que en medio de ti se halla, caerán en medio de los mares el día de tu caída.

27:27 Your riches, and your fairs, your merchandise, your seamen, and your pilots, your repairer of breaches, and the occupiers of your merchandise, and all your men of war, that are in you, and in all your company which is in the midst of you, shall fall into the midst of the seas in the day of your ruin.

27:28 Al estrépito de las voces de tus marineros temblarán los arrabales.

27:28 The suburbs shall shake at the sound of the cry of your pilots.

27:29 Y descenderán de sus naves todos los que toman remo; remeros, y todos los pilotos de la mar se pararán en tierra:

27:29 And all that handle the oar, the seamen, and all the pilots of the sea, shall come down from their ships, they shall stand upon the land;

27:30 Y harán oir su voz sobre ti, y gritarán amargamente, y echarán polvo sobre sus cabezas, y se revolcarán en la ceniza.

27:30 And shall cause their voice to be heard against you, and shall cry bitterly, and shall cast up dust upon their heads, they shall wallow themselves in the ashes:

27:31 Y haránse por ti calva, y se ceñirán de sacos, y endecharán por ti endechas amargas, con amargura de alma.

27:31 And they shall make themselves utterly bald for you, and gird them with sackcloth, and they shall weep for you with bitterness of heart and bitter wailing.

27:32 Y levantarán sobre ti endechas en sus lamentaciones, y endecharán sobre ti diciendo: ¿Quién como Tiro, como la destruída en medio de la mar?

27:32 And in their wailing they shall take up a lamentation for you, and lament over you, saying, What city is like Tyrus, like the destroyed in the midst of the sea?

27:33 Cuando tus mercaderías salían de las naves, hartabas muchos pueblos: los reyes de la tierra enriqueciste con la multitud de tus riquezas y de tus contrataciones.

27:33 When your wares went forth out of the seas, you filled many people; you did enrich the kings of the earth with the multitude of your riches and of your merchandise.

27:34 En el tiempo que serás quebrantada de los mares en los profundos de las aguas, tu comercio y toda tu compañía caerán en medio de ti.

27:34 In the time when you shall be broken by the seas in the depths of the waters your merchandise and all your company in the midst of you shall fall.

27:35 Todos los moradores de las islas se maravillarán sobre ti, y sus reyes temblarán de espanto: inmutaránse en sus rostros.

27:35 All the inhabitants of the isles shall be astonished at you, and their kings shall be sore afraid, they shall be troubled in their countenance.

27:36 Los mercaderes en los pueblos silbarán sobre ti: vendrás á ser espanto, y dejarás de ser para siempre.

27:36 The merchants among the people shall hiss at you; you shall be a terror, and never shall be any more.

28:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

28:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

28:2 Hijo del hombre, di al príncipe de Tiro: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto se enalteció tu corazón y dijiste: Yo soy un dios; en la silla de Dios estoy sentado en medio de los mares (siendo tú hombre y no Dios); y has puesto tu corazón como corazón de Dios:

28:2 Son of man, say unto the prince of Tyrus, Thus says the Lord GOD; Because yours heart is lifted up, and you have said, I am a God, I sit in the seat of God, in the midst of the seas; yet you are a man, and not God, though you set yours heart as the heart of God:

28:3 He aquí que tú eres más sabio que Daniel; no hay secreto que te sea oculto;

28:3 Behold, you are wiser than Daniel; there is no secret that they can hide from you:

28:4 Con tu sabiduría y con tu prudencia te has juntado riquezas, y has adquirido oro y plata en tus tesoros;

28:4 With your wisdom and with yours understanding you have got you riches, and have got gold and silver into your treasures:

28:5 Con la grandeza de tu sabiduría en tu contratación has multiplicado tus riquezas; y á causa de tus riquezas se ha enaltecido tu corazón.

28:5 By your great wisdom and by your trade have you increased your riches, and yours heart is lifted up because of your riches:

28:6 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto pusiste tu corazón como corazón de Dios,

28:6 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have set yours heart as the heart of God;

28:7 Por tanto, he aquí yo traigo sobre ti extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, que desenvainarán su espadas contra la hermosura de tu sabiduría, y ensuciarán tu esplendor.

28:7 Behold, therefore I will bring strangers upon you, the terrible of the nations: and they shall draw their swords against the beauty of your wisdom, and they shall defile your brightness.

28:8 A la huesa te harán descender, y morirás de las muertes de los que mueren en medio de los mares.

28:8 They shall bring you down to the pit, and you shall die the deaths of them that are slain in the midst of the seas.

28:9 ¿Hablarás delante de tu matador, diciendo: Yo soy Dios? Tú, hombre eres, y no Dios, en la mano de tu matador.

28:9 Will you yet say before him that slays you, I am God? but you shall be a man, and no God, in the hand of him that slays you.

28:10 De muerte de incircuncisos morirás por mano de extraños: porque yo he hablado, dice el Señor Jehová.

28:10 You shall die the deaths of the uncircumcised by the hand of strangers: for I have spoken it, says the Lord GOD.

28:11 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

28:11 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

28:12 Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre el rey de Tiro, y dile: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Tú echas el sello á la proporción, lleno de sabiduría, y acabado de hermosura.

28:12 Son of man, take up a lamentation upon the king of Tyrus, and say unto him, Thus says the Lord GOD; You seal up the sum, full of wisdom, and perfect in beauty.

28:13 En Edén, en el huerto de Dios estuviste: toda piedra preciosa fué tu vestidura; el sardio, topacio, diamante, crisólito, onique, y berilo, el zafiro, carbunclo, y esmeralda, y oro, los primores de tus tamboriles y pífanos estuvieron apercibidos para ti en el día de tu creación.

28:13 You have been in Eden the garden of God; every precious stone was your covering, the ruby, topaz, and the diamond, the beryl, the onyx, and the jasper, the sapphire, the emerald, and the carbuncle, and gold: the workmanship of your timbrels and of your pipes was prepared in you in the day that you were created.

28:14 Tú, querubín grande, cubridor: y yo te puse; en el santo monte de Dios estuviste; en medio de piedras de fuego has andado.

28:14 You are the anointed cherub that covers; and I have set you so: you were upon the holy mountain of God; you have walked up and down in the midst of the stones of fire.

28:15 Perfecto eras en todos tus caminos desde el día que fuiste criado, hasta que se halló en ti maldad.

28:15 You were perfect in your ways from the day that you were created, till iniquity was found in you.

28:16 A causa de la multitud de tu contratación fuiste lleno de iniquidad, y pecaste: por lo que yo te eché del monte de Dios, y te arrojé de entre las piedras del fuego, oh querubín cubridor.

28:16 By the multitude of your merchandise they have filled the midst of you with violence, and you have sinned: therefore I will cast you as profane out of the mountain of God: and I will destroy you, O covering cherub, from the midst of the stones of fire.

28:17 Enaltecióse tu corazón á causa de tu hermosura, corrompiste tu sabiduría á causa de tu resplandor: yo te arrojaré por tierra; delante de los reyes te pondré para que miren en ti.

28:17 Yours heart was lifted up because of your beauty, you have corrupted your wisdom by reason of your brightness: I will cast you to the ground, I will lay you before kings, that they may behold you.

28:18 Con la multitud de tus maldades, y con la iniquidad de tu contratación ensuciaste tu santuario: yo pues saqué fuego de en medio de ti, el cual te consumió, y púsete en ceniza sobre la tierra á los ojos de todos los que te miran.

28:18 You have defiled your sanctuaries by the multitude of yours iniquities, by the iniquity of your trade; therefore will I bring forth a fire from the midst of you, it shall devour you, and I will bring you to ashes upon the earth in the sight of all them that behold you.

28:19 Todos los que te conocieron de entre los pueblos, se maravillarán sobre ti: en espanto serás, y para siempre dejarás de ser.

28:19 All they that know you among the people shall be astonished at you: you shall be a terror, and never shall you be any more.

28:20 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

28:20 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

28:21 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia Sidón, y profetiza contra ella;

28:21 Son of man, set your face against Zidon, and prophesy against it,

28:22 Y dirás: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh Sidón, y en medio de ti seré glorificado: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando hiciere en ella juicios, y en ella me santificare.

28:22 And say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, O Zidon; and I will be glorified in the midst of you: and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall have executed judgments in her, and shall be sanctified in her.

28:23 Y enviaré á ella pestilencia y sangre en sus plazas; y caerán muertos en medio de ella; con espada contra ella alrededor; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

28:23 For I will send into her pestilence, and blood into her streets; and the wounded shall be judged in the midst of her by the sword upon her on every side; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

28:24 Y nunca más será á la casa de Israel espino que le punce, ni espanto que le dé dolor, en todos los alrededores de los que los menosprecian; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

28:24 And there shall be no more a pricking brier unto the house of Israel, nor any grieving thorn of all that are round about them, that despised them; and they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

28:25 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Cuando juntaré la casa de Israel de los pueblos entre los cuales están esparcidos, entonces me santificaré en ellos á los ojos de las gentes, y habitarán en su tierra, la cual dí á mi siervo Jacob.

28:25 Thus says the Lord GOD; When I shall have gathered the house of Israel from the people among whom they are scattered, and shall be sanctified in them in the sight of the heathen, then shall they dwell in their land that I have given to my servant Jacob.

28:26 Y habitarán en ella seguros, y edificarán casas, y plantarán viñas, y habitarán confiadamente, cuando yo haré juicios en todos los que los despojan en sus alrededores; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová su Dios.

28:26 And they shall dwell safely therein, and shall build houses, and plant vineyards; yea, they shall dwell with confidence, when I have executed judgments upon all those that despise them round about them; and they shall know that I am the LORD their God.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

29:1 EN el año décimo, en el mes décimo, á los doce del mes, fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

29:1 In the tenth year, in the tenth month, in the twelfth day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

29:2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro contra Faraón rey de Egipto, y profetiza contra él y contra todo Egipto.

29:2 Son of man, set your face against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and prophesy against him, and against all Egypt:

29:3 Habla, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, Faraón rey de Egipto, el gran dragón que yace en medio de sus ríos, el cual dijo: Mío es mi río, y yo me lo hice.

29:3 Speak, and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against you, Pharaoh king of Egypt, the great dragon that lies in the midst of his rivers, which has said, My river is mine own, and I have made it for myself.

29:4 Yo pues, pondré anzuelos en tus mejillas, y pegaré los peces de tus ríos á tus escamas, y te sacaré de en medio de tus ríos, y todos los peces de tus ríos saldrán pegados á tus escamas.

29:4 But I will put hooks in your jaws, and I will cause the fish of your rivers to stick unto your scales, and I will bring you up out of the midst of your rivers, and all the fish of your rivers shall stick unto your scales.

29:5 Y dejaréte en el desierto, á ti y á todos los peces de tus ríos: sobre la haz del campo caerás; no serás recogido, ni serás juntado: á las bestias de la tierra y á las aves del cielo te he dado por comida.

29:5 And I will leave you thrown into the wilderness, you and all the fish of your rivers: you shall fall upon the open fields; you shall not be brought together, nor gathered: I have given you for food to the beasts of the field and to the fowls of the heaven.

29:6 Y sabrán todos los moradores de Egipto que yo soy Jehová, por cuanto fueron bordón de caña á la casa de Israel.

29:6 And all the inhabitants of Egypt shall know that I am the LORD, because they have been a staff of reed to the house of Israel.

29:7 Cuando te tomaron con la mano, te quebraste, y les rompiste todo el hombro: y cuando se recostaron sobre ti, te quebraste, y los deslomaste enteramente.

29:7 When they took hold of you by your hand, you did break, and rend all their shoulder: and when they leaned upon you, you brake, and made all their loins to be at a stand.

29:8 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo traigo contra ti espada, y talaré de ti hombres y bestias.

29:8 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will bring a sword upon you, and cut off man and beast out of you.

29:9 Y la tierra de Egipto será asolada y desierta: y sabrán que yo soy Jehová: porque dijo: Mi río, y yo lo hice.

29:9 And the land of Egypt shall be desolate and waste; and they shall know that I am the LORD: because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it.

29:10 Por tanto, he aquí yo contra ti, y contra tus ríos; y pondré la tierra de Egipto en asolamientos de la soledad del desierto, desde Migdol hasta Seveneh, hasta el término de Etiopía.

29:10 Behold, therefore I am against you, and against your rivers, and I will make the land of Egypt utterly waste and desolate, from the tower of Syene even unto the border of Ethiopia.

29:11 No pasará por ella pie de hombre, ni pie de bestia pasará por ella; ni será habitada por cuarenta años.

29:11 No foot of man shall pass through it, nor foot of beast shall pass through it, neither shall it be inhabited forty years.

29:12 Y pondré á la tierra de Egipto en soledad entre las tierras asoladas, y sus ciudades entre las ciudades destruidas estarán asoladas por cuarenta años: y esparciré á Egipto entre las gentes, y aventarélos por las tierras.

29:12 And I will make the land of Egypt desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities among the cities that are laid waste shall be desolate forty years: and I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

29:13 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Al fin de cuarenta años juntaré á Egipto de los pueblos entre los cuales fueren esparcidos:

29:13 Yet thus says the Lord GOD; At the end of forty years will I gather the Egyptians from the people where they were scattered:

29:14 Y tornaré á traer los cautivos de Egipto, y los volveré á la tierra de Patros, á la tierra de su habitación; y allí serán un reino bajo.

29:14 And I will bring again the captivity of Egypt, and will cause them to return into the land of Pathros, into the land of their habitation; and they shall be there a base kingdom.

29:15 En comparación de los otros reinos será humilde; ni más se alzará sobre las gentes: porque yo los disminuiré, para que no se enseñoreen en las gentes.

29:15 It shall be the base of the kingdoms; neither shall it exalt itself any more above the nations: for I will diminish them, that they shall no more rule over the nations.

29:16 Y no será más á la casa de Israel por confianza, que haga acordar el pecado, mirando en pos de ellos; y sabrán que yo soy el Señor Jehová.

29:16 And it shall be no more the confidence of the house of Israel, which brings their iniquity to remembrance, when they shall look after them: but they shall know that I am the Lord GOD.

29:17 Y aconteció en el año veinte y siete, en el mes primero, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

29:17 And it came to pass in the seven and twentieth year, in the first month, in the first day of the month, the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

29:18 Hijo del hombre, Nabucodonosor rey de Babilonia hizo á su ejército prestar grande servicio contra Tiro. Toda cabeza se encalveció, y pelóse todo hombro; y ni para él ni para su ejército hubo paga de Tiro, por el servicio que prestó contra ella.

29:18 Son of man, Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon caused his army to serve a great service against Tyrus: every head was made bald, and every shoulder was peeled: yet had he no wages, nor his army, for Tyrus, for the service that he had served against it:

29:19 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí que yo doy á Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia, la tierra de Egipto; y él tomará su multitud, y cogerá sus despojos, y arrebatará su presa, y habrá paga para su ejército.

29:19 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I will give the land of Egypt unto Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon; and he shall take her multitude, and take her spoil, and take her prey; and it shall be the wages for his army.

29:20 Por su trabajo con que sirvió contra ella le he dado la tierra de Egipto: porque trabajaron por mí, dice el Señor Jehová.

29:20 I have given him the land of Egypt for his labour wherewith he served against it, because they wrought for me, says the Lord GOD.

29:21 En aquel tiempo haré reverdecer el cuerno á la casa de Israel, y te daré apertura de boca en medio de ellos; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

29:21 In that day will I cause the horn of the house of Israel to bud forth, and I will give you the opening of the mouth in the midst of them; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

30:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

30:1 The word of the LORD came again unto me, saying,

30:2 Hijo del hombre, profetiza, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aullad: ¡Ay del día!

30:2 Son of man, prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Wail all of you, Full of anguish is the day!

30:3 Porque cerca está el día, cerca está el día del Señor; día de nublado, día de las gentes será.

30:3 For the day is near, even the day of the LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen.

30:4 Y vendrá espada á Egipto, y habrá miedo en Etiopía, cuando caerán heridos en Egipto; y tomarán su multitud, y serán destruídos sus fundamentos.

30:4 And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down.

30:5 Etiopía, y Libia, y Lidia, y todo el conjunto de pueblo, y Chûb, y los hijos de la tierra de la liga, caerán con ellos á cuchillo.

30:5 Ethiopia, and Libya, and Lydia, and all the mingled people, and Chub, and the men of the land that is in league, shall fall with them by the sword.

30:6 Así ha dicho Jehová: También caerán los que sostienen á Egipto, y la altivez de su fortaleza caerá: desde Migdol hasta Seveneh caerán en él á cuchillo, dice el Señor Jehová.

30:6 Thus says the LORD; They also that uphold Egypt shall fall; and the pride of her power shall come down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, says the Lord GOD.

30:7 Y serán asolados entre las tierras asoladas, y sus ciudades serán entre las ciudades desiertas.

30:7 And they shall be desolate in the midst of the countries that are desolate, and her cities shall be in the midst of the cities that are wasted.

30:8 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando pusiere fuego á Egipto, y fueren quebrantados todos sus ayudadores.

30:8 And they shall know that I am the LORD, when I have set a fire in Egypt, and when all her helpers shall be destroyed.

30:9 En aquel tiempo saldrán mensajeros de delante de mí en navíos, á espantar á Etiopía la confiada, y tendrán espanto como en el día de Egipto: porque he aquí viene.

30:9 In that day shall messengers go forth from me in ships to make the careless Ethiopians afraid, and great pain shall come upon them, as in the day of Egypt: for, lo, it comes.

30:10 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Haré cesar la multitud de Egipto por mano de Nabucodonosor, rey de Babilonia.

30:10 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will also make the multitude of Egypt to cease by the hand of Nebuchadrezzar king of Babylon.

30:11 El, y con él su pueblo, los más fuertes de las gentes, serán traídos á destruir la tierra: y desenvainarán sus espadas sobre Egipto, y henchirán la tierra de muertos.

30:11 He and his people with him, the terrible of the nations, shall be brought to destroy the land: and they shall draw their swords against Egypt, and fill the land with the slain.

30:12 Y secaré los ríos, y entregaré la tierra en manos de malos, y destruiré la tierra y su plenitud por mano de extranjeros: yo Jehová he hablado.

30:12 And I will make the rivers dry, and sell the land into the hand of the wicked: and I will make the land waste, and all that is therein, by the hand of strangers: I the LORD have spoken it.

30:13 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Destruiré también las imágenes, y haré cesar los ídolos de Memphis; y no habrá más príncipe de la tierra de Egipto, y en la tierra de Egipto pondré temor.

30:13 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will also destroy the idols, and I will cause their images to cease out of Noph; and there shall be no more a prince of the land of Egypt: and I will put a fear in the land of Egypt.

30:14 Y asolaré á Patros, y pondré fuego á Zoán, y haré juicios en No.

30:14 And I will make Pathros desolate, and will set fire in Zoan, and will execute judgments in No.

30:15 Y derramaré mi ira sobre Sin, fortaleza de Egipto, y talaré la multitud de No.

30:15 And I will pour my fury upon Sin, the strength of Egypt; and I will cut off the multitude of No.

30:16 Y pondré fuego á Egipto; Sin tendrá gran dolor, y No será destrozada, y Memphis tendrá continuas angustias.

30:16 And I will set fire in Egypt: Sin shall have great pain, and No shall be rent asunder, and Noph shall have distresses daily.

30:17 Los mancebos de Avén y de Pibeseth caerán á cuchillo; y ellas irán en cautiverio.

30:17 The young men of Aven and of Pibeseth shall fall by the sword: and these cities shall go into captivity.

30:18 Y en Tehaphnes será cerrado el día, cuando quebrantaré yo allí las barras de Egipto, y cesará en ella la soberbia de su fortaleza: nublado la cubrirá, y los moradores de sus aldeas irán en cautiverio.

30:18 At Tehaphnehes also the day shall be darkened, when I shall break there the yokes of Egypt: and the pomp of her strength shall cease in her: as for her, a cloud shall cover her, and her daughters shall go into captivity.

30:19 Haré pues juicios en Egipto y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

30:19 Thus will I execute judgments in Egypt: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

30:20 Y aconteció en el año undécimo, en el mes primero, á los siete del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

30:20 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the first month, in the seventh day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

30:21 Hijo del hombre, quebrantado he el brazo de Faraón rey de Egipto; y he aquí que no ha sido vendado poniéndo le medicinas, poniéndole faja para ligarlo, á fin de vigorizarle para que pueda tener espada.

30:21 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharaoh king of Egypt; and, lo, it shall not be bound up to be healed, to put a roller to bind it, to make it strong to hold the sword.

30:22 Por tanto, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Heme aquí contra Faraón rey de Egipto, y quebraré sus brazos, el fuerte y el fracturado, y haré que la espada se le caiga de la mano.

30:22 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against Pharaoh king of Egypt, and will break his arms, the strong, and that which was broken; and I will cause the sword to fall out of his hand.

30:23 Y esparciré los Egipcios entre las gentes, y aventarélos por las tierras.

30:23 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and will disperse them through the countries.

30:24 Y fortificaré los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y pondré mi espada en su mano; mas quebraré los brazos de Faraón, y delante de aquél gemirá con gemidos de herido de muerte.

30:24 And I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and put my sword in his hand: but I will break Pharaoh's arms, and he shall groan before him with the groanings of a deadly wounded man.

30:25 Fortificaré pues los brazos del rey de Babilonia, y los brazos de Faraón caerán; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando yo pusiere mi espada en la mano del rey de Babilonia, y él la extendiere sobre la tierra de Egipto.

30:25 But I will strengthen the arms of the king of Babylon, and the arms of Pharaoh shall fall down; and they shall know that I am the LORD, when I shall put my sword into the hand of the king of Babylon, and he shall stretch it out upon the land of Egypt.

30:26 Y esparciré los Egipcios entre las gentes, y los aventaré por las tierras; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

30:26 And I will scatter the Egyptians among the nations, and disperse them among the countries; and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

31:1 Y ACONTECIO en el año undécimo, en el mes tercero, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

31:1 And it came to pass in the eleventh year, in the third month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

31:2 Hijo del hombre, di á Faraón rey de Egipto, y á su pueblo: ¿A quién te comparaste en tu grandeza?

31:2 Son of man, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, and to his multitude; Whom are you like in your greatness?

31:3 He aquí era el Asirio cedro en el Líbano, hermoso en ramas, y umbroso con sus ramos, y de grande altura, y su copa estaba entre densas ramas.

31:3 Behold, the Assyrian was a cedar in Lebanon with fair branches, and with a shadowing shroud, and of an high stature; and his top was among the thick boughs.

31:4 Las aguas lo hicieron crecer, encumbrólo el abismo: sus ríos iban alrededor de su pie, y á todos los árboles del campo enviaba sus corrientes.

31:4 The waters made him great, the deep set him up on high with her rivers running round about his plants, and sent her little rivers unto all the trees of the field.

31:5 Por tanto, se encumbró su altura sobre todos los árboles del campo, y multiplicáronse sus ramos, y á causa de las muchas aguas se alargaron sus ramas que había echado.

31:5 Therefore his height was exalted above all the trees of the field, and his boughs were multiplied, and his branches became long because of the multitude of waters, when he shot forth.

31:6 En sus ramas hacían nido todas las aves del cielo, y debajo de su ramaje parían todas las bestias del campo, y á su sombra habitaban muchas gentes.

31:6 All the fowls of heaven made their nests in his boughs, and under his branches did all the beasts of the field bring forth their young, and under his shadow dwelt all great nations.

31:7 Hízose, pues, hermoso en su grandeza con la extensión de sus ramas; porque su raíz estaba junto á muchas aguas.

31:7 Thus was he fair in his greatness, in the length of his branches: for his root was by great waters.

31:8 Los cedros no lo cubrieron en el huerto de Dios: las hayas no fueron semejantes á sus ramas, ni los castaños fueron semejantes á sus ramos: ningún árbol en el huerto de Dios fué semejante á él en su hermosura.

31:8 The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chestnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.

31:9 Hícelo hermoso con la multitud de sus ramas; y todos los árboles de Edén, que estaban en el huerto de Dios, tuvieron de él envidia.

31:9 I have made him fair by the multitude of his branches: so that all the trees of Eden, that were in the garden of God, envied him.

31:10 Por tanto, así dijo el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto te encumbraste en altura, y puso su cumbre entre densas ramas, y su corazón se elevó con su altura,

31:10 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Because you have lifted up yourself in height, and he has shot up his top among the thick boughs, and his heart is lifted up in his height;

31:11 Yo lo entregaré en mano del fuerte de las gentes, que de cierto le manejará: por su impiedad lo he arrojado.

31:11 I have therefore delivered him into the hand of the mighty one of the heathen; he shall surely deal with him: I have driven him out for his wickedness.

31:12 Y le cortarán extraños, los fuertes de las gentes, y lo abandonarán: sus ramas caerán sobre los montes y por todos los valles, y por todas las arroyadas de la tierra serán quebrados sus ramos; é iránse de su sombra todos los pueblos de la tierra, y lo dejarán.

31:12 And strangers, the terrible of the nations, have cut him off, and have left him: upon the mountains and in all the valleys his branches are fallen, and his boughs are broken by all the rivers of the land; and all the people of the earth are gone down from his shadow, and have left him.

31:13 Sobre su ruina habitarán todas las aves del cielo, y sobre su ramas estarán todas las bestias del campo:

31:13 Upon his ruin shall all the fowls of the heaven remain, and all the beasts of the field shall be upon his branches:

31:14 Para que no se eleven en su altura los árboles todos de las aguas, ni levanten su cumbre entre las espesuras, ni en sus ramas se paren por su altura todos los que beben aguas: porque todos serán entregados á muerte, á la tierra baja, en medio de los hijos de los hombres, con los que descienden á la huesa.

31:14 To the end that none of all the trees by the waters exalt themselves for their height, neither shoot up their top among the thick boughs, neither their trees stand up in their height, all that drink water: for they are all delivered unto death, to the nether parts of the earth, in the midst of the children of men, with them that go down to the pit.

31:15 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que descendió á la sepultura, hice hacer luto, hice cubrir por él el abismo, y detuve sus ríos, y las muchas aguas fueron detenidas: y al Líbano cubrí de tinieblas por él, y todos los árboles del campo se desmayaron.

31:15 Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day when he went down to the grave I caused a mourning: I covered the deep for him, and I restrained the floods thereof, and the great waters were stayed: and I caused Lebanon to mourn for him, and all the trees of the field fainted for him.

31:16 Del estruendo de su caída hice temblar las gentes, cuando les hice descender á la fosa con todos los que descienden á la sepultura; y todos los árboles de Edén escogidos, y los mejores del Líbano, todos los que beben aguas, tomaron consolación en la tierra baja.

31:16 I made the nations to shake at the sound of his fall, when I cast him down to hell with them that descend into the pit: and all the trees of Eden, the choice and best of Lebanon, all that drink water, shall be comforted in the nether parts of the earth.

31:17 También ellos descendieron con él á la fosa, con los muertos á cuchillo, los que fueron su brazo, los que estuvieron á su sombra en medio de las gentes.

31:17 They also went down into hell with him unto them that be slain with the sword; and they that were his arm, that dwelt under his shadow in the midst of the heathen.

31:18 ¿A quién te has comparado así en gloria y en grandeza entre los árboles de Edén? Pues derrribado serás con los árboles de Edén en la tierra baja: entre los incircuncisos yacerás, con los muertos á cuchillo. Este es Faraón y todo su pueblo, dice el Señor Jehová.

31:18 To whom are you thus like in glory and in greatness among the trees of Eden? yet shall you be brought down with the trees of Eden unto the nether parts of the earth: you shall lie in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword. This is Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

32:1 Y ACONTECIO en el año duodécimo, en el mes duodécimo, al primero del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

32:1 And it came to pass in the twelfth year, in the twelfth month, in the first day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

32:2 Hijo del hombre, levanta endechas sobre Faraón rey de Egipto, y dile: A leoncillo de gentes eres semejante, y eres como la ballena en los mares: que secabas tus ríos, y enturbiabas las aguas con tus pies, y hollabas sus riberas.

32:2 Son of man, take up a lamentation for Pharaoh king of Egypt, and say unto him, You are like a young lion of the nations, and you are as a whale in the seas: and you came forth with your rivers, and troubled the waters with your feet, and fouled their rivers.

32:3 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo extenderé sobre ti mi red con reunión de muchos pueblos, y te harán subir con mi esparavel.

32:3 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will therefore spread out my net over you with a company of many people; and they shall bring you up in my net.

32:4 Y te dejaré en tierra, te echaré sobre la haz del campo, y haré que se asienten sobre ti todas las aves del cielo, y hartaré de ti las bestias de toda la tierra.

32:4 Then will I leave you upon the land, I will cast you forth upon the open field, and will cause all the fowls of the heaven to remain upon you, and I will fill the beasts of the whole earth with you.

32:5 Y pondré tus carnes sobre los montes, y henchiré los valles de tu altura.

32:5 And I will lay your flesh upon the mountains, and fill the valleys with your height.

32:6 Y regaré de tu sangre la tierra donde nadas, hasta los montes; y los arroyos se henchirán de ti.

32:6 I will also water with your blood the land wherein you swim, even to the mountains; and the rivers shall be full of you.

32:7 Y cuando te habré muerto, cubriré los cielos, y haré entenebrecer sus estrellas: el sol cubriré con nublado, y la luna no hará resplandecer su luz.

32:7 And when I shall put you out, I will cover the heaven, and make the stars thereof dark; I will cover the sun with a cloud, and the moon shall not give her light.

32:8 Todas las lumbreras de luz haré entenebrecer en el cielo por ti, y pondré tinieblas sobre tu tierra, dice el Señor Jehová.

32:8 All the bright lights of heaven will I make dark over you, and set darkness upon your land, says the Lord GOD.

32:9 Y entristeceré el corazón de muchos pueblos, cuando llevaré tu quebrantamiento sobre las gentes, por las tierras que no conociste.

32:9 I will also vex the hearts of many people, when I shall bring your destruction among the nations, into the countries which you have not known.

32:10 Y haré atónitos sobre ti muchos pueblos, y sus reyes tendrán á causa de ti horror grande, cuando haré resplandecer mi espada delante de sus rostros, y todos se sobresaltarán en sus ánimos á cada momento en el día de tu caída.

32:10 Yea, I will make many people amazed at you, and their kings shall be horribly afraid for you, when I shall brandish my sword before them; and they shall tremble at every moment, every man for his own life, in the day of your fall.

32:11 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: La espada del rey de Babilonia vendrá sobre ti.

32:11 For thus says the Lord GOD; The sword of the king of Babylon shall come upon you.

32:12 Con espadas de fuertes haré caer tu pueblo; todos ellos serán los fuertes de las gentes: y destruirán la soberbia de Egipto, y toda su multitud será deshecha.

32:12 By the swords of the mighty will I cause your multitude to fall, the terrible of the nations, all of them: and they shall spoil the pomp of Egypt, and all the multitude thereof shall be destroyed.

32:13 Todas sus bestias destruiré de sobre las muchas aguas: ni más las enturbiará pie de hombre, ni uña de bestias las enturbiarán.

32:13 I will destroy also all the beasts thereof from beside the great waters; neither shall the foot of man trouble them any more, nor the hoofs of beasts trouble them.

32:14 Entonces haré asentarse sus aguas, y haré ir sus ríos como aceite, dice el Señor Jehová.

32:14 Then will I make their waters deep, and cause their rivers to run like oil, says the Lord GOD.

32:15 Cuando asolaré la tierra de Egipto, y la tierra fuere asolada de su plenitud, cuando heriré á todos los que en ella moran, sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

32:15 When I shall make the land of Egypt desolate, and the country shall be destitute of that whereof it was full, when I shall strike all them that dwell therein, then shall they know that I am the LORD.

32:16 Esta es la endecha, y cantarla han: las hijas de las gentes la cantarán: endecharán sobre Egipto, y sobre toda su multitud, dice el Señor Jehová.

32:16 This is the lamentation wherewith they shall lament her: the daughters of the nations shall lament her: they shall lament for her, even for Egypt, and for all her multitude, says the Lord GOD.

32:17 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo, á los quince del mes, que fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

32:17 It came to pass also in the twelfth year, in the fifteenth day of the month, that the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

32:18 Hijo del hombre, endecha sobre la multitud de Egipto, y despéñalo á él, y á las villas de las gentes fuertes, en la tierra de los profundos, con los que descienden á la sepultura.

32:18 Son of man, wail for the multitude of Egypt, and cast them down, even her, and the daughters of the famous nations, unto the nether parts of the earth, with them that go down into the pit.

32:19 Porque eres tan hermoso, desciende, y yace con los incircuncisos.

32:19 Whom do you pass in beauty? go down, and be you laid with the uncircumcised.

32:20 Entre los muertos á cuchillo caerán: al cuchillo es entregado: traedlo á él y á todos sus pueblos.

32:20 They shall fall in the midst of them that are slain by the sword: she is delivered to the sword: draw her and all her multitudes.

32:21 De en medio del infierno hablarán á él los fuertes de los fuertes, con los que le ayudaron, que descendieron, y yacen con los incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo.

32:21 The strong among the mighty shall speak to him out of the midst of hell with them that help him: they are gone down, they lie uncircumcised, slain by the sword.

32:22 Allí Assur con toda su gente: en derredor de él están sus sepulcros: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo.

32:22 Asshur is there and all her company: his graves are about him: all of them slain, fallen by the sword:

32:23 Sus sepulcros fueron puestos á los lados de la fosa, y su gente está por los alrededores de su sepulcro: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo, los cuales pusieron miedo en la tierra de los vivientes.

32:23 Whose graves are set in the sides of the pit, and her company is round about her grave: all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which caused terror in the land of the living.

32:24 Allí Elam, y toda su multitud por los alrededores de su sepulcro: todos ellos cayeron muertos á cuchillo, los cuales descendieron incircuncisos á los más profundos lugares de la tierra, porque pusieron su terror en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

32:24 There is Elam and all her multitude round about her grave, all of them slain, fallen by the sword, which are gone down uncircumcised into the nether parts of the earth, which caused their terror in the land of the living; yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit.

32:25 En medio de los muertos le pusieron cama con toda su multitud: á sus alrededores están sus sepulcros: todos ellos incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo, porque fué puesto su espanto en la tierra de los vivientes, mas llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro: él fué puesto en medio de los muertos.

32:25 They have set her a bed in the midst of the slain with all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword: though their terror was caused in the land of the living, yet have they borne their shame with them that go down to the pit: he is put in the midst of them that be slain.

32:26 Allí Mesech, y Tubal, y toda su multitud: sus sepulcros en sus alrededores: todos ellos incircuncisos muertos á cuchillo, porque habían dado su terror en la tierra de los vivientes.

32:26 There is Meshech, Tubal, and all her multitude: her graves are round about him: all of them uncircumcised, slain by the sword, though they caused their terror in the land of the living.

32:27 Y no yacerán con los fuertes que cayeron de los incircuncisos, los cuales descendieron al sepulcro con sus armas de guerra, y pusieron sus espadas debajo de sus cabezas: mas sus pecados estarán sobre sus huesos, porque fueron terror de fuertes en la tierra de los vivientes.

32:27 And they shall not lie with the mighty that are fallen of the uncircumcised, which are gone down to hell with their weapons of war: and they have laid their swords under their heads, but their iniquities shall be upon their bones, though they were the terror of the mighty in the land of the living.

32:28 Tú pues serás quebrantado entre los incircuncisos, y yacerás con los muertos á cuchillo.

32:28 Yea, you shall be broken in the midst of the uncircumcised, and shall lie with them that are slain with the sword.

32:29 Allí Idumea, sus reyes y todos sus príncipes, los cuales con su fortaleza fueron puestos con los muertos á cuchillo: ellos yacerán con los incircuncisos, y con los que descienden al sepulcro.

32:29 There is Edom, her kings, and all her princes, which with their might are laid by them that were slain by the sword: they shall lie with the uncircumcised, and with them that go down to the pit.

32:30 Allí los príncipes del aquilón, todos ellos, y todos los de Sidón, que con su terror descendieron con los muertos, avergonzados de su fortaleza, yacen también incircuncisos con los muertos á cuchillo, y llevaron su confusión con los que descienden al sepulcro.

32:30 There be the princes of the north, all of them, and all the Zidonians, which are gone down with the slain; with their terror they are ashamed of their might; and they lie uncircumcised with them that be slain by the sword, and bear their shame with them that go down to the pit.

32:31 A estos verá Faraón, y consolaráse sobre toda su multitud; Faraón muerto á cuchillo, y todo su ejército, dice el Señor Jehová.

32:31 Pharaoh shall see them, and shall be comforted over all his multitude, even Pharaoh and all his army slain by the sword, says the Lord GOD.

32:32 Porque yo puse mi terror en la tierra de los vivientes, también yacerá entre los incircuncisos con los muertos á cuchillo, Faraón y toda su multitud, dice el Señor Jehová.

32:32 For I have caused my terror in the land of the living: and he shall be laid in the midst of the uncircumcised with them that are slain with the sword, even Pharaoh and all his multitude, says the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

33:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

33:1 Again the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

33:2 Hijo del hombre, habla á los hijos de tu pueblo, y diles: Cuando trajere yo espada sobre la tierra, y el pueblo de la tierra tomare un hombre de sus términos, y se lo pusiere por atalaya,

33:2 Son of man, speak to the children of your people, and say unto them, When I bring the sword upon a land, if the people of the land take a man of their coasts, and set him for their watchman:

33:3 Y él viere venir la espada sobre la tierra, y tocare corneta, y avisare al pueblo;

33:3 If when he sees the sword come upon the land, he blow the trumpet, and warn the people;

33:4 Cualquiera que oyere el sonido de la corneta, y no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada lo tomare, su sangre será sobre su cabeza.

33:4 Then whosoever hears the sound of the trumpet, and takes not warning; if the sword come, and take him away, his blood shall be upon his own head.

33:5 El sonido de la corneta oyó, y no se apercibió; su sangre será sobre él: mas el que se apercibiere, librará su vida.

33:5 He heard the sound of the trumpet, and took not warning; his blood shall be upon him. But he that takes warning shall deliver his soul.

33:6 Pero si el atalaya viere venir la espada, y no tocare la corneta, y el pueblo no se apercibiere, y viniendo la espada, tomare de él alguno; por causa de su pecado fué tomado, mas demandaré su sangre de mano del atalaya.

33:6 But if the watchman see the sword come, and blow not the trumpet, and the people be not warned; if the sword come, and take any person from among them, he is taken away in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at the watchman's hand.

33:7 Tú pues, hijo del hombre, yo te he puesto por atalaya á la casa de Israel, y oirás la palabra de mi boca, y los apercibirás de mi parte.

33:7 So you, O son of man, I have set you a watchman unto the house of Israel; therefore you shall hear the word at my mouth, and warn them from me.

33:8 Diciendo yo al impío: Impío, de cierto morirás; si tú no hablares para que se guarde el impío de su camino, el impío morirá por su pecado, mas su sangre yo la demandaré de tu mano.

33:8 When I say unto the wicked, O wicked man, you shall surely die; if you do not speak to warn the wicked from his way, that wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at yours hand.

33:9 Y si tú avisares al impío de su camino para que de él se aparte, y él no se apartare de su camino, por su pecado morirá él, y tú libraste tu vida.

33:9 Nevertheless, if you warn the wicked of his way to turn from it; if he do not turn from his way, he shall die in his iniquity; but you have delivered your soul.

33:10 Tú pues, hijo del hombre, di á la casa de Israel: Vosotros habéis hablado así, diciendo: Nuestras rebeliones y nuestros pecados están sobre nosotros, y á causa de ellos somos consumidos: ¿cómo pues viviremos?

33:10 Therefore, O you son of man, speak unto the house of Israel; Thus all of you speak, saying, If our transgressions and our sins be upon us, and we pine away in them, how should we then live?

33:11 Diles: Vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que no quiero la muerte del impío, sino que se torne el impío de su camino, y que viva. Volveos, volveos de vuestros caminos: ¿y por qué moriréis, oh casa de Israel?

33:11 Say unto them, As I live, says the Lord GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn all of you, turn all of you from your evil ways; for why will all of you die, O house of Israel?

33:12 Y tú, hijo del hombre, di á los hijos de tu pueblo: La justicia del justo no lo librará el día que se rebelare; y la impiedad del impío no le será estorbo el día que se volviere de su impiedad; y el justo no podrá vivir por su justicia el día que pecare.

33:12 Therefore, you son of man, say unto the children of your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression: as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turns from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sins.

33:13 Diciendo yo al justo: De cierto vivirá, y él confiado en su justicia hiciere iniquidad, todas sus justicias no vendrán en memoria, sino que morirá por su iniquidad que hizo.

33:13 When I shall say to the righteous, that he shall surely live; if he trust to his own righteousness, and commit iniquity, all his righteousnesses shall not be remembered; but for his iniquity that he has committed, he shall die for it.

33:14 Y diciendo yo al impío: De cierto morirás; si él se volviere de su pecado, é hiciere juicio y justicia,

33:14 Again, when I say unto the wicked, You shall surely die; if he turn from his sin, and do that which is lawful and right;

33:15 Si el impío restituyere la prenda, devolviere lo que hubiere robado, caminare en las ordenanzas de la vida, no haciendo iniquidad, vivirá ciertamente y no morirá.

33:15 If the wicked restore the pledge, give again that he had robbed, walk in the statutes of life, without committing iniquity; he shall surely live, he shall not die.

33:16 No se le recordará ninguno de sus pecados que había cometido: hizo juicio y justicia; vivirá ciertamente.

33:16 None of his sins that he has committed shall be mentioned unto him: he has done that which is lawful and right; he shall surely live.

33:17 Luego dirán los hijos de tu pueblo: No es recta la vía del Señor: la vía de ellos es la que no es recta.

33:17 Yet the children of your people say, The way of the Lord is not equal: but as for them, their way is not equal.

33:18 Cuando el justo se apartare de su justicia, é hiciere iniquidad, morirá por ello.

33:18 When the righteous turns from his righteousness, and commits iniquity, he shall even die thereby.

33:19 Y cuando el impío se apartare de su impiedad, é hiciere juicio y justicia, vivirá por ello.

33:19 But if the wicked turn from his wickedness, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall live thereby.

33:20 Y dijisteis: No es recta la vía del Señor. Yo os juzgaré, oh casa de Israel, á cada uno conforme á sus caminos.

33:20 Yet all of you say, The way of the Lord is not equal. O all of you house of Israel, I will judge you every one after his ways.

33:21 Y aconteció en el año duodécimo de nuestro cautiverio, en el mes décimo, á los cinco del mes, que vino á mí un escapado de Jerusalem, diciendo: La ciudad ha sido herida.

33:21 And it came to pass in the twelfth year of our captivity, in the tenth month, in the fifth day of the month, that one that had escaped out of Jerusalem came unto me, saying, The city is smitten.

33:22 Y la mano de Jehová había sido sobre mí la tarde antes que el escapado viniese, y había abierto mi boca, hasta que vino á mí por la mañana; y abrió mi boca, y no más estuve callado.

33:22 Now the hand of the LORD was upon me in the evening, before he that was escaped came; and had opened my mouth, until he came to me in the morning; and my mouth was opened, and I was no more dumb.

33:23 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

33:23 Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

33:24 Hijo del hombre, los que habitan aquellos desiertos en la tierra de Israel, hablando dicen: Abraham era uno, y poseyó la tierra: pues nosotros somos muchos; á nosotros es dada la tierra en posesión.

33:24 Son of man, they that inhabit those wastes of the land of Israel speak, saying, Abraham was one, and he inherited the land: but we are many; the land is given us for inheritance.

33:25 Por tanto, diles: Así dicho el Señor Jehová: ¿Con sangre comeréis, y á vuestros ídolos alzaréis vuestros ojos, y sangre derramaréis, y poseeréis vosotros la tierra?

33:25 Wherefore say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; All of you eat with the blood, and lift up your eyes toward your idols, and shed blood: and shall all of you possess the land?

33:26 Estuvisteis sobre vuestras espadas, hicisteis abominación, y contaminasteis cada cual la mujer de su prójimo: ¿y habréis de poseer la tierra?

33:26 All of you stand upon your sword, all of you work abomination, and all of you defile every one his neighbour's wife: and shall all of you possess the land?

33:27 Les dirás así: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Vivo yo, que los que están en aquellos asolamientos caerán á cuchillo, y al que está sobre la haz del campo entregaré á las bestias que lo devoren; y los que están en las fortalezas y en las cuevas, de pestilencia morirán.

33:27 Say you thus unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD; As I live, surely they that are in the wastes shall fall by the sword, and him that is in the open field will I give to the beasts to be devoured, and they that be in the forts and in the caves shall die of the pestilence.

33:28 Y pondré la tierra en desierto y en soledad, y cesará la soberbia de su fortaleza; y los montes de Israel serán asolados, que no haya quien pase.

33:28 For I will lay the land most desolate, and the pomp of her strength shall cease; and the mountains of Israel shall be desolate, that none shall pass through.

33:29 Y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando pusiere la tierra en soledad y desierto, por todas las abominaciones que han hecho.

33:29 Then shall they know that I am the LORD, when I have laid the land most desolate because of all their abominations which they have committed.

33:30 Y tú, hijo del hombre, los hijos de tu pueblo se mofan de ti junto á las paredes y á las puertas de las casas, y habla el uno con el otro, cada uno con su hermano, diciendo: Venid ahora, y oid qué palabra sale de Jehová.

33:30 Also, you son of man, the children of your people still are talking against you by the walls and in the doors of the houses, and speak one to another, every one to his brother, saying, Come, I pray you, and hear what is the word that comes forth from the LORD.

33:31 Y vendrán á ti como viene el pueblo, y se estarán delante de ti como mi pueblo, y oirán tus palabras, y no las pondrán por obra: antes hacen halagos con sus bocas, y el corazón de ellos anda en pos de su avaricia.

33:31 And they come unto you as the people comes, and they sit before you as my people, and they hear your words, but they will not do them: for with their mouth they show much love, but their heart goes after their covetousness.

33:32 Y he aquí que tú eres á ellos como cantor de amores, gracioso de voz y que canta bien: y oirán tus palabras, mas no las pondrán por obra.

33:32 And, lo, you are unto them as a very lovely song of one that has a pleasant voice, and can play well on an instrument: for they hear your words, but they do them not.

33:33 Empero cuando ello viniere (he aquí viene) sabrán que hubo profeta entre ellos.

33:33 And when this comes to pass, (lo, it will come,) then shall they know that a prophet has been among them.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

34:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

34:1 And the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

34:2 Hijo del hombre, profetiza contra los pastores de Israel; profetiza, y diles á los pastores: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: ¡Ay de los pastores de Israel, que se apacientan á sí mismos! ¿No apacientan los pastores los rebaños?

34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus says the Lord GOD unto the shepherds; Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?

34:3 Coméis la leche, y os vestís de la lana: la gruesa degolláis, no apacentáis las ovejas.

34:3 All of you eat the fat, and all of you clothe you with the wool, all of you kill them that are fed: but all of you feed not the flock.

34:4 No corroborasteis las flacas, ni curasteis la enferma: no ligasteis la perniquebrada, ni tornasteis la amontada, ni buscasteis la perdida; sino que os habéis enseñoreado de ellas con dureza y con violencia;

34:4 The diseased have all of you not strengthened, neither have all of you healed that which was sick, neither have all of you bound up that which was broken, neither have all of you brought again that which was driven away, neither have all of you sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have all of you ruled them.

34:5 Y están derramadas por falta de pastor; y fueron para ser comidas de toda bestia del campo, y fueron esparcidas.

34:5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd: and they became food to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.

34:6 Y anduvieron perdidas mis ovejas por todos los montes, y en todo collado alto: y en toda la haz de la tierra fueron derramadas mis ovejas, y no hubo quien buscase, ni quien requiriese.

34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.

34:7 Por tanto, pastores, oid palabra de Jehová:

34:7 Therefore, all of you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

34:8 Vivo yo, ha dicho el Señor Jehová, que por cuanto mi rebaño fué para ser robado, y mis ovejas fueron para ser comidas de toda bestia del campo, sin pastor; ni mis pastores buscaron mis ovejas, sino que los pastores se apacentaron á sí mismos, y no apacentaron mis ovejas;

34:8 As I live, says the Lord GOD, surely because my flock became a prey, and my flock became food to every beast of the field, because there was no shepherd, neither did my shepherds search for my flock, but the shepherds fed themselves, and fed not my flock;

34:9 Por tanto, oh pastores, oid palabra de Jehová:

34:9 Therefore, O all of you shepherds, hear the word of the LORD;

34:10 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo á los pastores; y requeriré mis ovejas de su mano, y haréles dejar de apacentar las ovejas: ni los pastores se apacentarán más á sí mismos; pues yo libraré mis ovejas de sus bocas, y no les serán más por comida.

34:10 Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I am against the shepherds; and I will require my flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver my flock from their mouth, that they may not be food for them.

34:11 Porque así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo, yo requeriré mis ovejas, y las reconoceré.

34:11 For thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search my sheep, and seek them out.

34:12 Como reconoce su rebaño el pastor el día que está en medio de sus ovejas esparcidas, así reconoceré mis ovejas, y las libraré de todos los lugares en que fueron esparcidas el día del nublado y de la oscuridad.

34:12 As a shepherd seeks out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out my sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.

34:13 Y yo las sacaré de los pueblos, y las juntaré de las tierras: y las meteré en su tierra, y las apacentaré en los montes de Israel por las riberas, y en todas las habitaciones del país.

34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.

34:14 En buenos pastos las apacentaré, y en los altos montes de Israel será su majada: allí dormirán en buena majada, y en pastos gruesos serán apacentadas sobre los montes de Israel.

34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.

34:15 Yo apacentaré mis ovejas, y yo les haré tener majada, dice el Señor Jehová.

34:15 I will feed my flock, and I will cause them to lie down, says the Lord GOD.

34:16 Yo buscaré la perdida, y tornaré la amontada, y ligaré la perniquebrada, y corroboraré la enferma: mas á la gruesa y á la fuerte destruiré. Yo las apacentaré en juicio.

34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.

34:17 Mas vosotras, ovejas mías, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo juzgo entre oveja y oveja, entre carneros y machos cabríos.

34:17 And as for you, O my flock, thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I judge between cattle and cattle, between the rams and the he goats.

34:18 ¿Os es poco que comáis los buenos pastos, sino que holléis con vuestros pies lo que de vuestros pastos queda; y que bebiendo las aguas sentadas, holléis además con vuestros pies las que quedan?

34:18 Seems it a small thing unto you to have eaten up the good pasture, but all of you must tread down with your feet the residue of your pastures? and to have drunk of the deep waters, but all of you must foul the residue with your feet?

34:19 Y mis ovejas comen lo hollado de vuestros pies, y beben lo que con vuestros pies habéis hollado.

34:19 And as for my flock, they eat that which all of you have trodden with your feet; and they drink that which all of you have fouled with your feet.

34:20 Por tanto, así les dice el Señor Jehová: He aquí, yo, yo juzgaré entre la oveja gruesa y la oveja flaca,

34:20 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD unto them; Behold, I, even I, will judge between the fat cattle and between the lean cattle.

34:21 Por cuanto rempujasteis con el lado y con el hombro, y acorneasteis con vuestros cuernos á todas las flacas, hasta que las esparcisteis fuera.

34:21 Because all of you have thrust with side and with shoulder, and pushed all the diseased with your horns, till all of you have scattered them abroad;

34:22 Yo salvaré á mis ovejas, y nunca más serán en rapiña; y juzgaré entre oveja y oveja.

34:22 Therefore will I save my flock, and they shall no more be a prey; and I will judge between cattle and cattle.

34:23 Y despertaré sobre ellas un pastor, y él las apacentará; á mi siervo David: él las apacentará, y él les será por pastor.

34:23 And I will set up one shepherd over them, and he shall feed them, even my servant David; he shall feed them, and he shall be their shepherd.

34:24 Yo Jehová les seré por Dios, y mi siervo David príncipe en medio de ellos. Yo Jehová he hablado.

34:24 And I the LORD will be their God, and my servant David a prince among them; I the LORD have spoken it.

34:25 Y estableceré con ellos pacto de paz, y haré cesar de la tierra las malas bestias; y habitarán en el desierto seguramente, y dormirán en los bosques.

34:25 And I will make with them a covenant of peace, and will cause the evil beasts to cease out of the land: and they shall dwell safely in the wilderness, and sleep in the woods.

34:26 Y daré á ellas, y á los alrededores de mi collado, bendición; y haré descender la lluvia en su tiempo, lluvias de bendición serán.

34:26 And I will make them and the places round about my hill a blessing; and I will cause the shower to come down in his season; there shall be showers of blessing.

34:27 Y el árbol del campo dará su fruto, y la tierra dará su fruto, y estarán sobre su tierra seguramente; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová, cuando quebrare las coyundas de su yugo, y los librare de mano de los que se sirven de ellos.

34:27 And the tree of the field shall yield her fruit, and the earth shall yield her increase, and they shall be safe in their land, and shall know that I am the LORD, when I have broken the bands of their yoke, and delivered them out of the hand of those that served themselves of them.

34:28 Y no serán más presa de las gentes, ni las bestias de la tierra las devorarán; sino que habitarán seguramente, y no habrá quien espante;

34:28 And they shall no more be a prey to the heathen, neither shall the beast of the land devour them; but they shall dwell safely, and none shall make them afraid.

34:29 Y despertaréles una planta por nombre, y no más serán consumidos de hambre en la tierra, ni serán más avergonzados de las gentes.

34:29 And I will raise up for them a plant of renown, and they shall be no more consumed with hunger in the land, neither bear the shame of the heathen any more.

34:30 Y sabrán que yo su Dios Jehová soy con ellos, y ellos son mi pueblo, la casa de Israel, dice el Señor Jehová.

34:30 Thus shall they know that I the LORD their God am with them, and that they, even the house of Israel, are my people, says the Lord GOD.

34:31 Y vosotras, ovejas mías, ovejas de mi pasto, hombres sois, y yo vuestro Dios, dice el Señor Jehová.

34:31 And all of you my flock, the flock of my pasture, are men, and I am your God, says the Lord GOD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

35:1 Y FUÉ á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

35:1 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

35:2 Hijo del hombre, pon tu rostro hacia el monte de Seir, y profetiza contra él,

35:2 Son of man, set your face against mount Seir, and prophesy against it,

35:3 Y dile: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí yo contra ti, oh monte de Seir, y extenderé mi mano contra ti, y te pondré en asolamiento y en soledad.

35:3 And say unto it, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, O mount Seir, I am against you, and I will stretch out mine hand against you, and I will make you most desolate.

35:4 A tus ciudades asolaré, y tú serás asolado; y sabrás que yo soy Jehová.

35:4 I will lay your cities waste, and you shall be desolate, and you shall know that I am the LORD.

35:5 Por cuanto tuviste enemistades perpetuas, y esparciste los hijos de Israel á poder de espada en el tiempo de su aflicción, en el tiempo extremadamente malo;

35:5 Because you have had a perpetual hatred, and have shed the blood of the children of Israel by the force of the sword in the time of their calamity, in the time that their iniquity had an end:

35:6 Por tanto, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, que á sangre te diputaré, y sangre te perseguirá: y pues la sangre no aborreciste, sangre te perseguirá.

35:6 Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will prepare you unto blood, and blood shall pursue you: since you have not hated blood, even blood shall pursue you.

35:7 Y pondré al monte de Seir en asolamiento y en soledad, y cortaré de él pasante y volviente.

35:7 Thus will I make mount Seir most desolate, and cut off from it him that passes out and him that returns.

35:8 Y henchiré sus montes de sus muertos: en tus collados, y en tus valles, y en todos tus arroyos, caerán ellos muertos á cuchillo.

35:8 And I will fill his mountains with his slain men: in your hills, and in your valleys, and in all your rivers, shall they fall that are slain with the sword.

35:9 Yo te pondré en asolamientos perpetuos, y tus ciudades nunca más se restaurarán; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

35:9 I will make you perpetual desolations, and your cities shall not return: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

35:10 Por cuanto dijiste: Las dos naciones y las dos tierras serán mías, y las poseeremos, estando allí Jehová;

35:10 Because you have said, These two nations and these two countries shall be mine, and we will possess it; whereas the LORD was there:

35:11 Por tanto, vivo yo, dice el Señor Jehová, yo haré conforme á tu ira, y conforme á tu celo con que procediste, á causa de tus enemistades con ellos: y seré conocido en ellos, cuando te juzgaré.

35:11 Therefore, as I live, says the Lord GOD, I will even do according to yours anger, and according to yours envy which you have used out of your hatred against them; and I will make myself known among them, when I have judged you.

35:12 Y sabrás que yo Jehová he oído todas tus injurias que proferiste contra los montes de Israel, diciendo: Destruídos son, nos son dados á devorar.

35:12 And you shall know that I am the LORD, and that I have heard all your blasphemies which you have spoken against the mountains of Israel, saying, They are laid desolate, they are given us to consume.

35:13 Y os engrandecisteis contra mí con vuestra boca, y multiplicasteis contra mí vuestras palabras. Yo lo oí.

35:13 Thus with your mouth all of you have boasted against me, and have multiplied your words against me: I have heard them.

35:14 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Alegrándose toda la tierra, yo te haré soledad.

35:14 Thus says the Lord GOD; When the whole earth rejoices, I will make you desolate.

35:15 Como te alegraste sobre la heredad de la casa de Israel, porque fué asolada, así te haré á ti: asolado será el monte de Seir, y toda Idumea, toda ella; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

35:15 As you did rejoice at the inheritance of the house of Israel, because it was desolate, so will I do unto you: you shall be desolate, O mount Seir, and all Idumea, even all of it: and they shall know that I am the LORD.

Ezekiel / EZEQUIEL

36:1 Y TU, hijo del hombre, profetiza sobre los montes de Israel, y di: Montes de Israel, oid palabra de Jehová:

36:1 Also, you son of man, prophesy unto the mountains of Israel, and say, All of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the LORD:

36:2 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto el enemigo dijo sobre vosotros: ¡Ea! también las alturas perpetuas nos han sido por heredad;

36:2 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because the enemy has said against you, Aha, even the ancient high places are ours in possession:

36:3 Profetiza por tanto, y di: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Pues por cuanto asolándoos y tragándoos de todas partes, para que fueseis heredad á las otras gentes, se os ha hecho andar en boca de lenguas, y ser el oprobio de los pueblos,

36:3 Therefore prophesy and say, Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they have made you desolate, and swallowed you up on every side, that all of you might be a possession unto the residue of the heathen, and all of you are taken up in the lips of talkers, and are an ill repute of the people:

36:4 Por tanto, montes de Israel, oid palabra del Señor Jehová: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová á los montes y á los collados, á los arroyos y á los valles, á las ruinas y asolamientos, y á las ciudades desamparadas, que fueron puestas á saco y en escarnio á las otras gentes alrededor;

36:4 Therefore, all of you mountains of Israel, hear the word of the Lord GOD; Thus says the Lord GOD to the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, to the desolate wastes, and to the cities that are forsaken, which became a prey and derision to the residue of the heathen that are round about;

36:5 Por eso, así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He hablado por cierto en el fuego de mi celo contra las demás gentes, y contra toda Idumea, que se disputaron mi tierra por heredad con alegría de todo corazón, con enconamiento de ánimo, para que sus expelidos fuesen presa.

36:5 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; Surely in the fire of my jealousy have I spoken against the residue of the heathen, and against all Idumea, which have appointed my land into their possession with the joy of all their heart, with despiteful minds, to cast it out for a prey.

36:6 Por tanto, profetiza sobre la tierra de Israel, y di á los montes y á los collados, y á los arroyos y á los valles: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: He aquí, en mi celo y en mi furor he hablado, por cuanto habéis llevado el oprobio de las gentes.

36:6 Prophesy therefore concerning the land of Israel, and say unto the mountains, and to the hills, to the rivers, and to the valleys, Thus says the Lord GOD; Behold, I have spoken in my jealousy and in my fury, because all of you have borne the shame of the heathen:

36:7 Por lo cual así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Yo he alzado mi mano, que las gentes que os están alrededor han de llevar su afrenta.

36:7 Therefore thus says the Lord GOD; I have lifted up mine hand, Surely the heathen that are about you, they shall bear their shame.

36:8 Mas vosotros, oh montes de Israel, daréis vuestros ramos, y llevaréis vuestro fruto á mi pueblo Israel; porque cerca están para venir.

36:8 But all of you, O mountains of Israel, all of you shall shoot forth your branches, and yield your fruit to my people of Israel; for they are at hand to come.

36:9 Porque heme aquí á vosotros, y á vosotros me volveré, y seréis labrados y sembrados.

36:9 For, behold, I am for you, and I will turn unto you, and all of you shall be tilled and sown:

36:10 Y haré multiplicar sobre vosotros hombres, á toda la casa de Israel, toda ella; y las ciudades han de ser habitadas, y serán edificadas las ruinas.

36:10 And I will multiply men upon you, all the house of Israel, even all of it: and the cities shall be inhabited, and the wastes shall be built:

36:11 Y multiplicaré sobre vosotros hombres y bestias, y serán multiplicados y crecerán: y os haré morar como solíais antiguamente, y os haré más bien que en vuestros principios; y sabréis que yo soy Jehová.

36:11 And I will multiply upon you man and beast; and they shall increase and bring fruit: and I will settle you after your old estates, and will do better unto you than at your beginnings: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD.

36:12 Y haré andar hombres sobre vosotros, á mi pueblo Israel; y te poseerán, y les serás por heredad, y nunca más les matarás los hijos.

36:12 Yea, I will cause men to walk upon you, even my people Israel; and they shall possess you, and you shall be their inheritance, and you shall no more henceforth bereave them of men.

36:13 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Por cuanto dicen de vosotros: Comedora de hombres, y matadora de los hijos de tus gentes has sido:

36:13 Thus says the Lord GOD; Because they say unto you, You land devour up men, and have bereaved your nations:

36:14 Por tanto, no devorarás más hombres, y nunca más matarás los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.

36:14 Therefore you shall devour men no more, neither bereave your nations any more, says the Lord GOD.

36:15 Y nunca más te haré oir injuria de gentes, ni más llevarás denuestos de pueblos, ni harás más morir los hijos á tus gentes, dice el Señor Jehová.

36:15 Neither will I cause men to hear in you the shame of the heathen any more, neither shall you bear the reproach of the people any more, neither shall you cause your nations to fall any more, says the Lord GOD.

36:16 Y fué á mí palabra de Jehová, diciendo:

36:16 Moreover the word of the LORD came unto me, saying,

36:17 Hijo del hombre, morando en su tierra la casa de Israel, la contaminaron con sus caminos y con sus obras: como inmundicia de menstruosa fué su camino delante de mí.

36:17 Son of man, when the house of Israel dwelt in their own land, they defiled it by their own way and by their doings: their way was before me as the uncleanness of a removed woman.

36:18 Y derramé mi ira sobre ellos por las sangres que derramaron sobre la tierra; porque con sus ídolos la contaminaron.

36:18 Wherefore I poured my fury upon them for the blood that they had shed upon the land, and for their idols wherewith they had polluted it:

36:19 Y esparcílos por las gentes, y fueron aventados por las tierras: conforme á sus caminos y conforme á sus obras los juzgué.

36:19 And I scattered them among the heathen, and they were dispersed through the countries: according to their way and according to their doings I judged them.

36:20 Y entrados á las gentes á donde fueron, profanaron mi santo nombre, diciéndose de ellos: Estos son pueblo de Jehová, y de su tierra de él han salido.

36:20 And when they entered unto the heathen, where they went, they profaned my holy name, when they said to them, These are the people of the LORD, and are gone forth out of his land.

36:21 Y he tenido lástima en atención á mi santo nombre, el cual profanó la casa de Israel entre las gentes á donde fueron.

36:21 But I had pity for mine holy name, which the house of Israel had profaned among the heathen, where they went.

36:22 Por tanto, di á la casa de Israel: Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: No lo hago por vosotros, oh casa de Israel, sino por causa de mi santo nombre, el cual profanasteis vosotros entre las gentes á donde habéis llegado.

36:22 Therefore say unto the house of Israel, thus says the Lord GOD; I do not this for your sakes, O house of Israel, but for mine holy name's sake, which all of you have profaned among the heathen, where all of you went.

36:23 Y santificaré mi grande nombre profanado entre las gentes, el cual profanasteis vosotros en medio de ellas; y sabrán las gentes que yo soy Jehová, dice el Señor Jehová, cuando fuere santificado en vosotros delante de sus ojos.

36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which all of you have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am the LORD, says the Lord GOD, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

36:24 Y yo os tomaré de las gentes, y os juntaré de todas las tierras, y os traeré á vuestro país.

36:24 For I will take you from among the heathen, and gather you out of all countries, and will bring you into your own land.

36:25 Y esparciré sobre vosotros agua limpia, y seréis limpiados de todas vuestras inmundicias; y de todos vuestros ídolos os limpiaré.

36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and all of you shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.

36:26 Y os daré corazón nuevo, y pondré espíritu nuevo dentro de vosotros; y quitaré de vuestra carne el corazón de piedra, y os daré corazón de carne.

36:26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.

36:27 Y pondré dentro de vosotros mi espíritu, y haré que andéis en mis mandamientos, y guardéis mis derechos, y los pongáis por obra.

36:27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and all of you shall keep my judgments, and do them.

36:28 Y habitaréis en la tierra que dí á vuestros padres; y vosotros me seréis por pueblo, y yo seré á vosotros por Dios.

36:28 And all of you shall dwell in the land that I gave to your fathers; and all of you shall be my people, and I will be your God.

36:29 Y os guardaré de todas vuestras inmundicias; y llamaré al trigo, y lo multiplicaré, y no os daré hambre.

36:29 I will also save you from all your uncleannesses: and I will call for the corn, and will increase it, and lay no famine upon you.

36:30 Multiplicaré asimismo el fruto de los árboles, y el fruto de los campos, porque nunca más recibáis oprobio de hambre entre las gentes.

36:30 And I will multiply the fruit of the tree, and the increase of the field, that all of you shall receive no more reproach of famine among the heathen.

36:31 Y os acordaréis de vuestros malos caminos, y de vuestras obras que no fueron buenas; y os avergonzaréis de vosotros mismos por vuestras iniquidades, y por vuestras abominaciones.

36:31 Then shall all of you remember your own evil ways, and your doings that were not good, and shall loathe yourselves in your own sight for your iniquities and for your abominations.

36:32 No lo hago por vosotros, dice el Señor Jehová, séaos notorio: avergonzaos y confundíos de vuestras iniquidades, casa de Israel.

36:32 Not for your sakes do I this, says the Lord GOD, be it known unto you: be ashamed and confounded for your own ways, O house of Israel.

36:33 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: El día que os limpiaré de todas vuestras iniquidades, haré también habitar las ciudades, y las asoladas serán edificadas.

36:33 Thus says the Lord GOD; In the day that I shall have cleansed you from all your iniquities I will also cause you to dwell in the cities, and the wastes shall be built.

36:34 Y la tierra asolada será labrada, en lugar de haber sido asolada en ojos de todos los que pasaron;

36:34 And the desolate land shall be tilled, whereas it lay desolate in the sight of all that passed by.

36:35 Los cuales dijeron: Esta tierra asolada fué como huerto de Edén; y estas ciudades desiertas y asoladas y arruinadas, fortalecidas estuvieron.

36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.

36:36 Y las gentes que fueron dejadas en vuestros alrededores, sabrán que yo edifiqué las derribadas, y planté las asoladas: yo Jehová he hablado, y harélo.

36:36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I the LORD build the ruined places, and plant that that was desolate: I the LORD have spoken it, and I will do it.

36:37 Así ha dicho el Señor Jehová: Aun seré solicitado de la casa de Israel, para hacerles esto: multiplicarélos de hombres á modo de rebaños.

36:37 Thus says the Lord GOD; I will yet for this be enquired of by the house of Israel, to do it for them; I will increase them with men like a flock.

36:38 Como las ovejas santas, como las ovejas de Jerusalem en sus solemnidades, así las ciudades desiertas serán llenas de rebaños de hombres; y sabrán que yo soy Jehová.

36:38 As the holy flock, as the flock of Jerusalem in her solemn feasts; so shall the waste cities be filled with flocks of men: and they shall know that I am the LORD.
