Exodus /  Misir'dan Çikis

1:1 Yakupla birlikte aileleriyle Misira giden Israilogullarinin adlari sunlardir:

1:1 Now these are the names of the children of Israel, which came into Egypt; every man and his household came with Jacob.

1:2 Ruben, Simon, Levi, Yahuda,

1:2 Reuben, Simeon, Levi, and Judah,

1:3 Issakar, Zevulun, Benyamin,

1:3 Issachar, Zebulun, and Benjamin,

1:4 Dan, Naftali, Gad, Aser.

1:4 Dan, and Naphtali, Gad, and Asher.

1:5 Yakupun soyundan gelenler toplam yetmis kisiydi. Yusuf zaten Misirdaydi.

1:5 And all the souls that came out of the loins of Jacob were seventy souls: for Joseph was in Egypt already.

1:6 Zamanla Yusuf, kardesleri ve o kusagin hepsi öldü.

1:6 And Joseph died, and all his brethren, and all that generation.

1:7 Ama soylari artti; üreyip çogaldilar, gittikçe büyüdüler, ülke onlarla dolup tasti.

1:7 And the children of Israel were fruitful, and increased abundantly, and multiplied, and waxed exceeding mighty; and the land was filled with them.

1:8 Now there arose up a new king over Egypt, which knew not Joseph.

1:9 And he said unto his people, Behold, the people of the children of Israel are more and mightier than we:

1:10 ‹‹Gelin, onlara karsi aklimizi kullanalim, yoksa daha da çogalirlar; bir savas çikarsa, düsmanlarimiza katilip bize karsi savasir, ülkeyi terk ederler.››

1:10 Come on, let us deal wisely with them; lest they multiply, and it come to pass, that, when there falls out any war, they join also unto our enemies, and fight against us, and so get them up out of the land.

1:11 Böylece Misirlilar Israillilerin basina onlari agir islere kosacak angaryacilar atadilar.

1:11 Therefore they did set over them taskmasters to afflict them with their burdens. And they built for Pharaoh treasure cities, Pithom and Raamses.

Misirlilar korkuya kapilarak

1:12 But the more they afflicted them, the more they multiplied and grew. And they were grieved because of the children of Israel.

1:13 Israillileri amansizca çalistirdilar.

1:13 And the Egyptians made the children of Israel to serve with rigour:

1:14 Her türlü tarla isi, harç ve kerpiç yapimi gibi agir islerle yasami onlara zehir ettiler. Bütün islerinde onlari amansizca kullandilar.

1:14 And they made their lives bitter with hard bondage, in mortar, and in brick, and in all manner of service in the field: all their service, wherein they made them serve, was with rigour.

1:15 Misir Krali, Sifra ve Pua adindaki Ibrani ebelere söyle dedi:

1:15 And the king of Egypt spoke to the Hebrew midwives, of which the name of the one was Shiphrah, and the name of the other Puah:

1:16 ‹‹Ibrani kadinlarini dogum sandalyesinde dogurturken iyi bakin; çocuk erkekse öldürün, kizsa dokunmayin.››

1:16 And he said, When all of you do the office of a midwife to the Hebrew women, and see them upon the stools; if it be a son, then all of you shall kill him: but if it be a daughter, then she shall live.

1:17 Ama ebeler Tanridan korkan kimselerdi, Misir Kralinin buyruguna uymayarak erkek çocuklari sag biraktilar.

1:17 But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the men children alive.

1:18 Bunun üzerine Misir Krali ebeleri çagirtip, ‹‹Niçin yaptiniz bunu?›› diye sordu, ‹‹Neden erkek çocuklari sag biraktiniz?››

1:18 And the king of Egypt called for the midwives, and said unto them, Why have all of you done this thing, and have saved the men children alive?

1:19 Ebeler, ‹‹Ibrani kadinlar Misirli kadinlara benzemiyor›› diye yanitladilar, ‹‹Çok güçlüler. Daha ebe gelmeden doguruyorlar.››

1:19 And the midwives said unto Pharaoh, Because the Hebrew women are not as the Egyptian women; for they are lively, and are delivered before the midwives come in unto them.

1:20 Tanri ebelere iyilik etti. Halk çogaldikça çogaldi.

1:20 Therefore God dealt well with the midwives: and the people multiplied, and waxed very mighty.

1:21 Ebeler kendisinden korktuklari için Tanri onlari ev bark sahibi yapti.

1:21 And it came to pass, because the midwives feared God, that he made them houses.

1:22 Bunun üzerine firavun bütün halkina buyruk verdi: ‹‹Dogan her Ibrani erkek çocuk Nil'e atilacak, kizlar sag birakilacak.››

1:22 And Pharaoh charged all his people, saying, Every son that is born all of you shall cast into the river, and every daughter all of you shall keep alive.

 Exodus

2:1 Levili bir adam kendi oymagindan bir kizla evlendi.

2:1 And there went a man of the house of Levi, and took to wife a daughter of Levi.

2:2 And the woman conceived, and bare a son: and when she saw him that he was a goodly child, she hid him three months.

2:3 And when she could not longer hide him, she took for him an ark of bulrushes, and daubed it with bitumen and with pitch, and put the child therein; and she laid it in the flags by the river's brink.

2:4 And his sister stood far off, to know what would be done to him.

2:5 O sirada firavunun kizi yikanmak için irmaga indi. Hizmetçileri irmak kiyisinda yürüyorlardi. Sazlarin arasindaki sepeti görünce, firavunun kizi onu getirmesi için hizmetçisini gönderdi.

2:5 And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to wash herself at the river; and her maidens walked along by the river's side; and when she saw the ark among the flags, she sent her maid to fetch it.

2:6 Sepeti açinca aglayan çocugu gördü. Ona aciyarak, ‹‹Bu bir Ibrani çocugu›› dedi.

2:6 And when she had opened it, she saw the child: and, behold, the babe wept. And she had compassion on him, and said, This is one of the Hebrews' children.

2:7 Then said his sister to Pharaoh's daughter, Shall I go and call to you a nurse of the Hebrew women, that she may nurse the child for you?

2:8 Firavunun kizi, ‹‹Olur›› diye yanitladi. Kiz gidip bebegin annesini çagirdi.

2:8 And Pharaoh's daughter said to her, Go. And the maid went and called the child's mother.

2:9 Firavunun kizi kadina, ‹‹Bu bebegi al, benim için emzir, ücretin neyse veririm›› dedi. Kadin bebegi alip emzirdi.

2:9 And Pharaoh's daughter said unto her, Take this child away, and nurse it for me, and I will give you your wages. And the women took the child, and nursed it.

2:10 Çocuk büyüyünce, onu geri getirdi. Firavunun kizi çocugu evlat edindi. ‹‹Onu sudan çikardim›› diyerek adini Musa koydu. ‹‹Masa›› sözcügünü çagristirir.

2:10 And the child grew, and she brought him unto Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. And she called his name Moses: and she said, Because I drew him out of the water.

2:11 And it came to pass in those days, when Moses was grown, that he went out unto his brethren, and looked on their burdens: and he spied an Egyptian smiting an Hebrew, one of his brethren.

2:12 Çevresine göz gezdirdi; kimse olmadigini anlayinca, Misirliyi öldürüp kuma gizledi.

2:12 And he looked this way and that way, and when he saw that there was no man, he slew the Egyptian, and hid him in the sand.

2:13 Ertesi gün gittiginde, iki Ibraninin kavga ettigini gördü. Haksiz olana, ‹‹Niçin kardesini dövüyorsun?›› diye sordu.

2:13 And when he went out the second day, behold, two men of the Hebrews strove together: and he said to him that did the wrong, Wherefore smite you your fellow?

2:14 Adam, ‹‹Kim seni basimiza yönetici ve yargiç atadi?›› diye yanitladi, ‹‹Misirliyi öldürdügün gibi beni de mi öldürmek istiyorsun?›› O zaman Musa korkarak, ‹‹Bu is ortaya çikmis!›› diye düsündü.

2:14 And he said, Who made you a prince and a judge over us? intend you to kill me, as you killed the Egyptian? And Moses feared, and said, Surely this thing is known.

2:15 Firavun olayi duyunca Musayi öldürtmek istedi. Ancak Musa ondan kaçip Midyan yöresine gitti. Bir kuyunun basinda otururken

2:15 Now when Pharaoh heard this thing, he sought to slay Moses. But Moses fled from the face of Pharaoh, and dwelt in the land of Midian: and he sat down by a well.

2:16 Midyanli bir kâhinin yedi kizi su çekmeye geldi. Babalarinin sürüsünü suvarmak için yalaklari dolduruyorlardi.

2:16 Now the priest of Midian had seven daughters: and they came and drew water, and filled the troughs to water their father's flock.

2:17 Ama bazi çobanlar gelip onlari kovmak istedi. Musa kizlarin yardimina kosup hayvanlarini suvardi.

2:17 And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.

2:18 Sonra kizlar babalari Reuelin yanina döndüler. Reuel, ‹‹Nasil oldu da bugün böyle tez geldiniz?›› diye sordu.

2:18 And when they came to Reuel their father, he said, How is it that all of you are come so soon to day?

2:19 Kizlar, ‹‹Misirli bir adam bizi çobanlarin elinden kurtardi›› diye yanitladilar, ‹‹Üstelik bizim için su çekip hayvanlara verdi.››

2:19 And they said, An Egyptian delivered us out of the hand of the shepherds, and also drew water enough for us, and watered the flock.

2:20 Babalari, ‹‹Nerede o?›› diye sordu, ‹‹Niçin adami disarida biraktiniz? Gidin onu yemege çagirin.››

2:20 And he said unto his daughters, And where is he? why is it that all of you have left the man? call him, that he may eat bread.

2:21 Musa Reuelin yaninda kalmayi kabul etti. Reuel de kizi Sipporayi onunla evlendirdi.

2:21 And Moses was content to dwell with the man: and he gave Moses Zipporah his daughter.

2:22 Sippora bir erkek çocuk dogurdu. Musa, ‹‹Garibim bu yabanci ülkede›› diyerek çocuga Gersom adini verdi.

2:22 And she bare him a son, and he called his name Gershom: for he said, I have been a stranger in a strange land.

2:23 Aradan yillar geçti, bu arada Misir Krali öldü. Israilliler hâlâ kölelik altinda inliyor, feryat ediyorlardi. Sonunda yakarislari Tanriya eristi.

2:23 And it came to pass in process of time, that the king of Egypt died: and the children of Israel sighed by reason of the bondage, and they cried, and their cry came up unto God by reason of the bondage.

2:24 Tanri iniltilerini duydu. Ibrahim, Ishak ve Yakupla yaptigi antlasmayi animsadi.

2:24 And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob.

2:25 Israilliler'e bakti ve onlara ilgi gösterdi.

2:25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God had respect unto them.

 Exodus

3:1 Musa kayinbabasi Midyanli Kâhin Yitronun sürüsünü güdüyordu. Sürüyü çölün batisina sürdü ve Tanri Dagina, Horeve vardi.

3:1 Now Moses kept the flock of Jethro his father in law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the backside of the desert, and came to the mountain of God, even to Horeb.

3:2 RABbin melegi bir çalidan yükselen alevlerin içinde ona göründü. Musa bakti, çali yaniyor, ama tükenmiyor.

3:2 And the angel of the LORD appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

3:3 And Moses said, I will now turn aside, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

3:4 RAB Tanri Musanin yaklastigini görünce, çalinin içinden, ‹‹Musa, Musa!›› diye seslendi. Musa, ‹‹Buyur!›› diye yanitladi.

3:4 And when the LORD saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I.

3:5 Tanri, ‹‹Fazla yaklasma›› dedi, ‹‹Çariklarini çikar. Çünkü bastigin yer kutsal topraktir.

3:5 And he said, Draw not nigh here: put off your shoes from off your feet, for the place whereon you stand is holy ground.

3:6 Ben babanin Tanrisi, Ibrahimin Tanrisi, Ishakin Tanrisi ve Yakupun Tanrisiyim.›› Musa yüzünü kapadi, çünkü Tanriya bakmaya korkuyordu.

3:6 Moreover he said, I am the God of your father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God.

3:7 RAB, ‹‹Halkimin Misirda çektigi sikintiyi yakindan gördüm›› dedi, ‹‹Angaryacilar yüzünden ettikleri feryadi duydum. Acilarini biliyorum.

3:7 And the LORD said, I have surely seen the affliction of my people which are in Egypt, and have heard their cry by reason of their taskmasters; for I know their sorrows;

3:8 And I am come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians, and to bring them up out of that land unto a good land and a large, unto a land flowing with milk and honey; unto the place of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites.

3:9 Israillilerin feryadi bana eristi. Misirlilarin onlara yapmakta oldugu baskiyi görüyorum.

3:9 Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come unto me: and I have also seen the oppression wherewith the Egyptians oppress them.

3:10 Simdi gel, halkim Israili Misirdan çikarmak için seni firavuna göndereyim.››

3:10 Come now therefore, and I will send you unto Pharaoh, that you may bring forth my people the children of Israel out of Egypt.

3:11 Musa, ‹‹Ben kimim ki firavuna gidip Israillileri Misirdan çikarayim?›› diye karsilik verdi.

3:11 And Moses said unto God, Who am I, that I should go unto Pharaoh, and that I should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?

3:12 Tanri, ‹‹Kuskun olmasin, ben seninle olacagim›› dedi, ‹‹Seni benim gönderdigimin kaniti su olacak: Halki Misirdan çikardigin zaman bu dagda bana tapinacaksiniz.››

3:12 And he said, Certainly I will be with you; and this shall be a token unto you, that I have sent you: When you have brought forth the people out of Egypt, all of you shall serve God upon this mountain.

3:13 Musa söyle karsilik verdi: ‹‹Israillilere gidip, ‹Beni size atalarinizin Tanrisi gönderdi› dersem, ‹Adi nedir?› diye sorabilirler. O zaman ne diyeyim?››

3:13 And Moses said unto God, Behold, when I come unto the children of Israel, and shall say unto them, The God of your fathers has sent me unto you; and they shall say to me, What is his name? what shall I say unto them?

3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, I AM has sent me unto you.

3:15 And God said moreover unto Moses, Thus shall you say unto the children of Israel, the LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has sent me unto you: this is my name for ever, and this is my memorial unto all generations.

3:16 Git, Israil ileri gelenlerini topla, onlara söyle de: ‹Atalariniz Ibrahimin, Ishakin, Yakupun Tanrisi Yahve bana görünerek sunlari söyledi: Sizinle ve Misirda size yapilanlarla yakindan ilgileniyorum.

3:16 Go, and gather the elders of Israel together, and say unto them, The LORD God of your fathers, the God of Abraham, of Isaac, and of Jacob, appeared unto me, saying, I have surely visited you, and seen that which is done to you in Egypt:

3:17 Söz verdim, sizi Misirda çektiginiz sikintidan kurtaracagim; Kenan, Hitit, Amor, Periz, Hiv ve Yevus topraklarina, süt ve bal akan ülkeye götürecegim.›

3:17 And I have said, I will bring you up out of the affliction of Egypt unto the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Perizzites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, unto a land flowing with milk and honey.

3:18 ‹‹Israil ileri gelenleri seni dinleyecekler. Sonra birlikte Misir Kralina gidip, ‹Ibranilerin Tanrisi Yahve bizimle görüstü› diyeceksiniz, ‹Simdi izin ver, Tanrimiz Yahveye kurban kesmek için çölde üç gün yol alalim.›

3:18 And they shall hearken to your voice: and you shall come, you and the elders of Israel, unto the king of Egypt, and all of you shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has met with us: and now let us go, we plead to you, three days' journey into the wilderness, that we may sacrifice to the LORD our God.

3:19 And I am sure that the king of Egypt will not let you go, no, not by a mighty hand.

3:20 Elimi uzatacak ve aralarinda sasilasi isler yaparak Misiri cezalandiracagim. O zaman sizi saliverecek.

3:20 And I will stretch out my hand, and strike Egypt with all my wonders which I will do in the midst thereof: and after that he will let you go.

3:21 ‹‹Halkimin Misirlilarin gözünde lütuf bulmasini saglayacagim. Gittiginizde eli bos gitmeyeceksiniz.

3:21 And I will give this people favour in the sight of the Egyptians: and it shall come to pass, that, when all of you go, all of you shall not go empty.

Misirlilar'i soyacaksiniz.››

3:22 But every woman shall borrow of her neighbour, and of her that sojourns in her house, jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment: and all of you shall put them upon your sons, and upon your daughters; and all of you shall spoil the Egyptians.

 Exodus

4:1 Musa, ‹‹Ya bana inanmazlarsa?›› dedi, ‹‹Sözümü dinlemez, ‹RAB sana görünmedi› derlerse, ne olacak?››

4:1 And Moses answered and said, But, behold, they will not believe me, nor hearken unto my voice: for they will say, The LORD has not appeared unto you.

4:2 RAB, ‹‹Elinde ne var?›› diye sordu. Musa, ‹‹Degnek›› diye yanitladi.

4:2 And the LORD said unto him, What is that in yours hand? And he said, A rod.

4:3 RAB, ‹‹Onu yere at›› dedi. Musa degnegini yere atinca, degnek yilan oldu. Musa yilandan kaçti.

4:3 And he said, Cast it on the ground. And he cast it on the ground, and it became a serpent; and Moses fled from before it.

4:4 RAB, ‹‹Elini uzat, kuyrugundan tut›› dedi. Musa elini uzatip kuyrugunu tutunca yilan yine degnek oldu.

4:4 And the LORD said unto Moses, Put forth yours hand, and take it by the tail. And he put forth his hand, and caught it, and it became a rod in his hand:

4:5 RAB, ‹‹Bunu yap ki, atalari Ibrahimin, Ishakin, Yakupun Tanrisi RABbin sana göründügüne inansinlar›› dedi.

4:5 That they may believe that the LORD God of their fathers, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob, has appeared unto you.

4:6 Sonra, ‹‹Elini koynuna koy›› dedi. Musa elini koynuna koydu.

4:6 And the LORD said furthermore unto him, Put now yours hand into your bosom. And he put his hand into his bosom: and when he took it out, behold, his hand was leprous as snow.

4:7 RAB, ‹‹Elini yine koynuna koy›› dedi. Musa elini yine koynuna koydu. Çikardigi zaman eli eski haline dönmüstü.

4:7 And he said, Put yours hand into your bosom again. And he put his hand into his bosom again; and plucked it out of his bosom, and, behold, it was turned again as his other flesh.

4:8 RAB, ‹‹Eger sana inanmaz, ilk belirtiyi önemsemezlerse, ikinci belirtiye inanabilirler›› dedi,

4:8 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe you, neither hearken to the voice of the first sign, that they will believe the voice of the latter sign.

4:9 ‹‹Bu iki belirtiye de inanmaz, sözünü dinlemezlerse, Nilden biraz su alip kuru topraga dök. Irmaktan aldigin su toprakta kana dönecek.››

4:9 And it shall come to pass, if they will not believe also these two signs, neither hearken unto your voice, that you shall take of the water of the river, and pour it upon the dry land: and the water which you take out of the river shall become blood upon the dry land.

4:10 And Moses said unto the LORD, O my LORD, I am not eloquent, neither in time past, nor since you have spoken unto your servant: but I am slow of speech, and of a slow tongue.

4:11 RAB, ‹‹Kim agiz verdi insana?›› dedi, ‹‹Insani sagir, dilsiz, görür ya da görmez yapan kim? Ben degil miyim?

4:11 And the LORD said unto him, Who has made man's mouth? or who makes the dumb, or deaf, or the seeing, or the blind? have not I the LORD?

4:12 Simdi git! Ben konusmana yardimci olacagim. Ne söylemen gerektigini sana ögretecegim.››

4:12 Now therefore go, and I will be with your mouth, and teach you what you shall say.

4:13 Musa, ‹‹Aman, ya Rab!›› dedi, ‹‹Ne olur, benim yerime baskasini gönder.››

4:13 And he said, O my LORD, send, I pray you, by the hand of him whom you will send.

4:14 And the anger of the LORD was kindled against Moses, and he said, Is not Aaron the Levite your brother? I know that he can speak well. And also, behold, he comes forth to meet you: and when he sees you, he will be glad in his heart.

4:15 And you shall speak unto him, and put words in his mouth: and I will be with your mouth, and with his mouth, and will teach you what all of you shall do.

4:16 O sana sözcülük edecek, senin yerine halkla konusacak. Sen de onun için Tanri gibi olacaksin.

4:16 And he shall be your spokesman unto the people: and he shall be, even he shall be to you instead of a mouth, and you shall be to him instead of God.

4:17 Bu degnegi eline al, çünkü belirtileri onunla gerçeklestireceksin.››

4:17 And you shall take this rod in yours hand, wherewith you shall do signs.

4:18 Musa kayinbabasi Yitronun yanina döndü. Ona, ‹‹Izin ver, Misirdaki soydaslarimin yanina döneyim›› dedi, ‹‹Bakayim, hâlâ yasiyorlar mi?›› Yitro, ‹‹Esenlikle git›› diye karsilik verdi.

4:18 And Moses went and returned to Jethro his father in law, and said unto him, Let me go, I pray you, and return unto my brethren which are in Egypt, and see whether they be yet alive. And Jethro said to Moses, Go in peace.

4:19 RAB Midyanda Musaya, ‹‹Misira dön, çünkü canini almak isteyenlerin hepsi öldü›› demisti.

4:19 And the LORD said unto Moses in Midian, Go, return into Egypt: for all the men are dead which sought your life.

4:20 Böylece Musa karisini, ogullarini esege bindirdi; Tanrinin buyurdugu degnegi de eline alip Misira dogru yola çikti.

4:20 And Moses took his wife and his sons, and set them upon an ass, and he returned to the land of Egypt: and Moses took the rod of God in his hand.

4:21 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Misira döndügünde, sana verdigim güçle bütün sasilasi isleri firavunun önünde yapmaya bak›› dedi, ‹‹Ama ben onu inatçi yapacagim. Halki salivermeyecek.

4:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, When you go to return into Egypt, see that you do all those wonders before Pharaoh, which I have put in yours hand: but I will harden his heart, that he shall not let the people go.

4:22 And you shall say unto Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD, Israel is my son, even my firstborn:

4:23 Sana, birak oglum gitsin, bana tapsin, dedim. Ama sen onu salivermeyi reddettin. Bu yüzden senin ilk oglunu öldürecegim.› ››

4:23 And I say unto you, Let my son go, that he may serve me: and if you refuse to let him go, behold, I will slay your son, even your firstborn.

4:24 RAB yolda, bir konaklama yerinde Musaylafç karsilasti, onu öldürmek istedi.

4:24 And it came to pass by the way in the inn, that the LORD met him, and sought to kill him.

4:25 O anda Sippora keskin bir tas alip oglunu sünnet etti, derisini Musanin ayaklarina dokundurdu. ‹‹Gerçekten sen bana kanli güveysin›› dedi.

4:25 Then Zipporah took a sharp stone, and cut off the foreskin of her son, and cast it at his feet, and said, Surely a bloody husband are you to me.

4:26 Böylece RAB Musayi esirgedi. Sippora Musaya sünnetten ötürü ‹‹Kanli güveysin›› demisti.

4:26 So he let him go: then she said, A bloody husband you are, because of the circumcision.

4:27 RAB Haruna, ‹‹Çöle, Musayi karsilamaya git›› dedi. Harun gitti, onu Tanri Daginda karsilayip öptü.

4:27 And the LORD said to Aaron, Go into the wilderness to meet Moses. And he went, and met him in the mount of God, and kissed him.

4:28 Musa duyurmasi için RABbin kendisine söyledigi bütün sözleri ve gerçeklestirmesini buyurdugu bütün belirtileri Haruna anlatti.

4:28 And Moses told Aaron all the words of the LORD who had sent him, and all the signs which he had commanded him.

4:29 Musayla Harun varip Israilin bütün ileri gelenlerini topladilar.

4:29 And Moses and Aaron went and gathered together all the elders of the children of Israel:

4:30 Harun RABbin Musaya söylemis oldugu her seyi onlara anlatti. Musa da halkin önünde belirtileri gerçeklestirdi.

4:30 And Aaron spoke all the words which the LORD had spoken unto Moses, and did the signs in the sight of the people.

4:31 Halk inandi; RAB'bin kendileriyle ilgilendigini, çektikleri sikintiyi görmüs oldugunu duyunca, egilip tapindilar.

4:31 And the people believed: and when they heard that the LORD had visited the children of Israel, and that he had looked upon their affliction, then they bowed their heads and worshipped.

 Exodus

5:1 Sonra Musayla Harun firavuna gidip söyle dediler: ‹‹Israilin Tanrisi RAB diyor ki, ‹Halkimi birak gitsin, çölde bana bayram yapsin.› ››

5:1 And afterward Moses and Aaron went in, and told Pharaoh, Thus says the LORD God of Israel, Let my people go, that they may hold a feast unto me in the wilderness.

5:2 Firavun, ‹‹RAB kim oluyor ki, Onun sözünü dinleyip Israil halkini salivereyim?›› dedi. ‹‹RABbi tanimiyorum. Israillilerin gitmesine izin vermeyecegim.››

5:2 And Pharaoh said, Who is the LORD, that I should obey his voice to let Israel go? I know not the LORD, neither will I let Israel go.

5:3 And they said, The God of the Hebrews has met with us: let us go, we pray you, three days' journey into the desert, and sacrifice unto the LORD our God; lest he fall upon us with pestilence, or with the sword.

5:4 Misir Firavunu, ‹‹Ey Musa ve Harun, niçin halki isinden alikoyuyorsunuz? Siz de isinizin basina dönün›› dedi,

5:4 And the king of Egypt said unto them, Wherefore do all of you, Moses and Aaron, let the people from their works? get you unto your burdens.

5:5 ‹‹Bakin, halkiniz Misirlilardan daha kalabalik, oysa siz onlarin isini engellemeye çalisiyorsunuz.››

5:5 And Pharaoh said, Behold, the people of the land now are many, and all of you make them rest from their burdens.

5:6 Firavun o gün angaryacilara ve halkin basindaki görevlilere buyruk verdi:

5:6 And Pharaoh commanded the same day the taskmasters of the people, and their officers, saying,

5:7 ‹‹Kerpiç yapmak için artik halka saman vermeyeceksiniz. Gitsinler, kendi samanlarini kendileri toplasinlar.

5:7 All of you shall no more give the people straw to make brick, as in time past: let them go and gather straw for themselves.

5:8 Önceki gibi ayni sayida kerpiç yapmalarini isteyin, kerpiç sayisini azaltmayin. Çünkü tembel insanlardir; bu yüzden, ‹Gidelim, Tanrimiza kurban keselim› diye bagrisiyorlar.

5:8 And the tale of the bricks, which they did make in time past, all of you shall lay upon them; all of you shall not diminish ought thereof: for they be idle; therefore they cry, saying, Let us go and sacrifice to our God.

5:9 Islerini agirlastirin ki, mesgul olsunlar, yalan sözlere kulak asmasinlar.››

5:9 Let there more work be laid upon the men, that they may labour therein; and let them not regard vain words.

5:10 Angaryacilarla görevliler gidip Israillilere söyle dediler: ‹‹Firavun diyor ki, ‹Artik size saman vermeyecegim.

5:10 And the taskmasters of the people went out, and their officers, and they spoke to the people, saying, Thus says Pharaoh, I will not give you straw.

5:11 Gidin, nerede bulursaniz oradan kendinize saman alin. Ancak isiniz hiç hafifletilmeyecek.› ››

5:11 Go all of you, get you straw where all of you can find it: yet not ought of your work shall be diminished.

5:12 Böylece halk saman yerine aniz toplamak üzere bütün Misira dagildi.

5:12 So the people were scattered abroad throughout all the land of Egypt to gather stubble instead of straw.

5:13 Angaryacilar, ‹‹Saman verildigi günlerdeki gibi gündelik görevlerinizi eksiksiz yerine getirin›› diyerek onlara baski yapiyordu.

5:13 And the taskmasters hasted them, saying, Fulfill your works, your daily tasks, as when there was straw.

5:14 And the officers of the children of Israel, which Pharaoh's taskmasters had set over them, were beaten, and demanded, Wherefore have all of you not fulfilled your task in making brick both yesterday and to day, as in time past?

5:15 Bunun üzerine Israilli görevliler firavunun yanina varip yakindilar: ‹‹Neden kullarina böyle davraniyorsun?

5:15 Then the officers of the children of Israel came and cried unto Pharaoh, saying, Wherefore deal you thus with your servants?

5:16 Neden bize saman verilmedigi halde, ‹Kerpiç yapin!› deniyor? Iste kullarin dövülüyor, oysa suçlu senin kendi halkindir.››

5:16 There is no straw given unto your servants, and they say to us, Make brick: and, behold, your servants are beaten; but the fault is in yours own people.

5:17 Firavun, ‹‹Tembelsiniz siz, tembel!›› diye karsilik verdi, ‹‹Bu yüzden ‹Gidip RABbe kurban keselim› diyorsunuz.

5:17 But he said, All of you are idle, all of you are idle: therefore all of you say, Let us go and do sacrifice to the LORD.

5:18 Haydi, isinizin basina dönün. Size saman verilmeyecek; yine de ayni sayida kerpiç üreteceksiniz.››

5:18 Go therefore now, and work; for there shall no straw be given you, yet shall all of you deliver the tale of bricks.

5:19 Kendilerine, ‹‹Her gün üretmeniz gereken kerpiç sayisini azaltmayacaksiniz›› dendiginde Israilli görevliler zor durumda olduklarini anladilar.

5:19 And the officers of the children of Israel did see that they were in evil case, after it was said, All of you shall not diminish ought from your bricks of your daily task.

5:20 Firavunun yanindan ayrilinca, kendilerini bekleyen Musayla Haruna çikistilar.

5:20 And they met Moses and Aaron, who stood in the way, as they came forth from Pharaoh:

5:21 ‹‹RAB yaptiginizi görsün, cezanizi versin!›› dediler, ‹‹Bizi firavunla görevlilerinin gözünde rezil ettiniz. Bizi öldürmeleri için ellerine bir kiliç verdiniz.››

5:21 And they said unto them, The LORD look upon you, and judge; because all of you have made our savour to be abhorred in the eyes of Pharaoh, and in the eyes of his servants, to put a sword in their hand to slay us.

5:22 And Moses returned unto the LORD, and said, LORD, wherefore have you so evil pleaded this people? why is it that you have sent me?

5:23 For since I came to Pharaoh to speak in your name, he has done evil to this people; neither have you delivered your people at all.

 Exodus

6:1 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Firavuna ne yapacagimi simdi göreceksin›› dedi, ‹‹Güçlü elimden ötürü Israil halkini saliverecek, güçlü elimden ötürü onlari ülkesinden kovacak.››

6:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Now shall you see what I will do to Pharaoh: for with a strong hand shall he let them go, and with a strong hand shall he drive them out of his land.

6:2 Tanri ayrica Musaya, ‹‹Ben Yahveyim›› dedi,

6:2 And God spoke unto Moses, and said unto him, I am the LORD:

6:3 ‹‹Ibrahime, Ishaka ve Yakupa Her Seye Gücü Yeten Tanri olarak göründüm, ama onlara kendimi Yahve adiyla tanitmadim.

6:3 And I appeared unto Abraham, unto Isaac, and unto Jacob, by the name of God Almighty, but by my name JEHOVAH was I not known to them.

6:4 And I have also established my covenant with them, to give them the land of Canaan, the land of their pilgrimage, wherein they were strangers.

6:5 Misirlilarin kölelestirdigi Israillilerin iniltilerini duydum ve antlasmami hep andim.

6:5 And I have also heard the groaning of the children of Israel, whom the Egyptians keep in bondage; and I have remembered my covenant.

6:6 ‹‹Onun için Israillilere de ki, ‹Ben Yahveyim. Sizi Misirlilarin boyundurugundan çikaracak, onlarin kölesi olmaktan kurtaracagim. Onlari agir biçimde yargilayacak ve kudretli elimle sizi özgür kilacagim.

6:6 Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:

6:7 Sizi kendi halkim yapacak ve Tanriniz olacagim. O zaman sizi Misirlilarin boyundurugundan çikaran Tanriniz Yahvenin ben oldugumu bileceksiniz.

6:7 And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and all of you shall know that I am the LORD your God, which brings you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.

6:8 Sizi Ibrahime, Ishaka ve Yakupa verecegime ant içtigim topraklara götürecegim. Orayi size mülk olarak verecegim. Ben Yahveyim.› ››

6:8 And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.

6:9 And Moses spoke so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage.

6:10 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Git, Misir Firavununa Israillileri ülkesinden salivermesini söyle›› dedi.

6:10 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

6:11 Go in, speak unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, that he let the children of Israel go out of his land.

6:12 And Moses spoke before the LORD, saying, Behold, the children of Israel have not hearkened unto me; how then shall Pharaoh hear me, who am of uncircumcised lips?

6:13 RAB Musa ve Harunla Israilliler ve Misir Firavunu hakkinda konustu. Israillileri Misirdan çikarmalarini buyurdu.

6:13 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, and gave them a charge unto the children of Israel, and unto Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt.

6:27 These are they which spoke to Pharaoh king of Egypt, to bring out the children of Israel from Egypt: these are that Moses and Aaron.

6:28 RAB Misirda Musayla konustugunda, ona, ‹‹Ben RABbim›› dedi, ‹‹Sana söyledigim her seyi Misir Firavununa ilet.››

6:28 And it came to pass on the day when the LORD spoke unto Moses in the land of Egypt,

6:29 That the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying, I am the LORD: speak you unto Pharaoh king of Egypt all that I say unto you.

6:30 Musa RAB'bin huzurunda, ‹‹Ben iyi konusan biri degilim›› diye karsilik verdi, ‹‹Firavun beni nasil dinler?››

6:30 And Moses said before the LORD, Behold, I am of uncircumcised lips, and how shall Pharaoh hearken unto me?

 Exodus

7:1 RAB, ‹‹Bak, seni firavuna karsi Tanri gibi yaptim›› dedi, ‹‹Agabeyin Harun senin peygamberin olacak.

7:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, See, I have made you a god to Pharaoh: and Aaron your brother shall be your prophet.

7:2 Sana buyurdugum her seyi agabeyine anlat. O da firavuna Israillileri ülkesinden salivermesini söylesin.

7:2 You shall speak all that I command you: and Aaron your brother shall speak unto Pharaoh, that he send the children of Israel out of his land.

7:3 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and multiply my signs and my wonders in the land of Egypt.

7:4 Ama firavun sizi dinlemeyecek. O zaman elimi Misirin üzerine koyacagim ve onlari agir biçimde cezalandirarak halkim Israili ordular halinde Misirdan çikaracagim.

7:4 But Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you, that I may lay my hand upon Egypt, and bring forth mine armies, and my people the children of Israel, out of the land of Egypt by great judgments.

7:5 Misira karsi elimi kaldirdigim ve Israillileri aralarindan çikardigim zaman Misirlilar benim RAB oldugumu anlayacak.››

7:5 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I stretch forth mine hand upon Egypt, and bring out the children of Israel from among them.

7:6 Musayla Harun RABbin buyurdugu gibi yaptilar.

7:6 And Moses and Aaron did as the LORD commanded them, so did they.

7:7 Firavunla konustuklarinda Musa seksen, Harun seksen üç yasindaydi.

7:7 And Moses was fourscore years old, and Aaron fourscore and three years old, when they spoke unto Pharaoh.

7:8 RAB Musayla Haruna söyle dedi:

7:8 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

7:9 ‹‹Firavun size, ‹Bir mucize yapin› dediginde, söyle Haruna, degnegini alip firavunun önüne atsin. Degnek yilan olacak.››

7:9 When Pharaoh shall speak unto you, saying, Show a miracle for you: then you shall say unto Aaron, Take your rod, and cast it before Pharaoh, and it shall become a serpent.

Degnek yilan oluverdi.

7:10 And Moses and Aaron went in unto Pharaoh, and they did so as the LORD had commanded: and Aaron cast down his rod before Pharaoh, and before his servants, and it became a serpent.

7:11 Bunun üzerine firavun kendi bilgelerini, büyücülerini çagirdi. Misirli büyücüler de büyüleriyle ayni seyi yaptilar.

7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

7:12 Her biri degnegini atti, degnekler yilan oldu. Ancak Harunun degnegi onlarin degneklerini yuttu.

7:12 For they cast down every man his rod, and they became serpents: but Aaron's rod swallowed up their rods.

7:13 And he hardened Pharaoh's heart, that he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

7:14 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Firavun inat ediyor, halki salivermeyi reddediyor›› dedi,

7:14 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh's heart is hardened, he refuses to let the people go.

7:15 ‹‹Sabah git, firavun Nile inerken onu karsilamak için irmak kiyisinda bekle. Yilana dönüsen degnegi eline al

7:15 Get you unto Pharaoh in the morning; lo, he goes out unto the water; and you shall stand by the river's brink meeting him; and the rod which was turned to a serpent shall you take in yours hand.

7:16 And you shall say unto him, The LORD God of the Hebrews has sent me unto you, saying, Let my people go, that they may serve me in the wilderness: and, behold, until now you would not hear.

7:17 Benim RAB oldugumu sundan anla, diyor RAB. Iste, elimdeki degnegi irmagin sularina vuracagim, sular kana dönecek.

7:17 Thus says the LORD, In this you shall know that I am the LORD: behold, I will strike with the rod that is in mine hand upon the waters which are in the river, and they shall be turned to blood.

7:18 Irmaktaki baliklar ölecek, irmak les gibi kokacak, Misirlilar artik irmagin suyunu içemeyecekler.› ››

7:18 And the fish that is in the river shall die, and the river shall stink; and the Egyptians shall loathe to drink of the water of the river.

7:19 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Take your rod, and stretch out yours hand upon the waters of Egypt, upon their streams, upon their rivers, and upon their ponds, and upon all their pools of water, that they may become blood; and that there may be blood throughout all the land of Egypt, both in vessels of wood, and in vessels of stone.

7:20 Musayla Harun RABbin buyurdugu gibi yaptilar. Harun firavunla görevlilerinin gözü önünde degnegini kaldirip irmagin sularina vurdu. Bütün sular kana dönüstü.

7:20 And Moses and Aaron did so, as the LORD commanded; and he lifted up the rod, and stroke the waters that were in the river, in the sight of Pharaoh, and in the sight of his servants; and all the waters that were in the river were turned to blood.

7:21 Irmaktaki baliklar öldü, irmak kokmaya basladi. Misirlilar irmagin suyunu içemez oldular. Misirin her yerinde kan vardi.

7:21 And the fish that was in the river died; and the river stank, and the Egyptians could not drink of the water of the river; and there was blood throughout all the land of Egypt.

7:22 And the magicians of Egypt did so with their enchantments: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, neither did he hearken unto them; as the LORD had said.

7:23 Olanlara aldirmadan sarayina döndü.

7:23 And Pharaoh turned and went into his house, neither did he set his heart to this also.

7:24 Misirlilar içecek su bulmak için irmak kiyisini kazmaya koyuldular. Çünkü irmagin suyunu içemiyorlardi.

7:24 And all the Egyptians dug round about the river for water to drink; for they could not drink of the water of the river.

7:25 RAB'bin irmagi vurmasinin üzerinden yedi gün geçti.

7:25 And seven days were fulfilled, after that the LORD had smitten the river.

 Exodus

8:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, Go unto Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

8:2 Eger halkimi salivermeyi reddedersen, bütün ülkeni kurbagalarla cezalandiracagim.

8:2 And if you refuse to let them go, behold, I will strike all your borders with frogs:

8:3 Irmak kurbagalarla dolup tasacak. Kurbagalar çikip sarayina, yatak odana, yatagina, görevlilerinin ve halkinin evlerine, firinlarina, hamur teknelerine girecekler.

8:3 And the river shall bring forth frogs abundantly, which shall go up and come into yours house, and into your bedchamber, and upon your bed, and into the house of your servants, and upon your people, and into yours ovens, and into your kneading troughs:

8:4 Senin, halkinin, bütün görevlilerinin üstüne siçrayacaklar.›

8:4 And the frogs shall come up both on you, and upon your people, and upon all your servants.

8:5 ‹‹Haruna de ki, ‹Elindeki degnegi irmaklarin, kanallarin, havuzlarin üzerine uzatip kurbagalari çikart; Misiri kurbagalar kaplasin.› ››

8:5 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch forth yours hand with your rod over the streams, over the rivers, and over the ponds, and cause frogs to come up upon the land of Egypt.

8:6 Böylece Harun elini Misirin sulari üzerine uzatti; kurbagalar çikip Misiri kapladi.

8:6 And Aaron stretched out his hand over the waters of Egypt; and the frogs came up, and covered the land of Egypt.

8:7 And the magicians did so with their enchantments, and brought up frogs upon the land of Egypt.

8:8 Firavun Musayla Harunu çagirtip, ‹‹RABbe dua edin, benim ve halkimin üzerinden kurbagalari uzaklastirsin›› dedi, ‹‹O zaman halkinizi RABbe kurban kessinler diye saliverecegim.››

8:8 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron, and said, Implore the LORD, that he may take away the frogs from me, and from my people; and I will let the people go, that they may do sacrifice unto the LORD.

8:9 Musa, ‹‹Sen karar ver›› diye karsilik verdi, ‹‹Bunu sana birakiyorum.

8:9 And Moses said unto Pharaoh, Glory over me: when shall I implore for you, and for your servants, and for your people, to destroy the frogs from you and your houses, that they may remain in the river only?

8:10 Firavun, ‹‹Yarin›› dedi. Musa, ‹‹Peki, dedigin gibi olsun›› diye karsilik verdi, ‹‹Böylece bileceksin ki, Tanrimiz RAB gibisi yoktur.

8:10 And he said, Tomorrow. And he said, Be it according to your word: that you may know that there is none like unto the LORD our God.

8:11 Kurbagalar senden, evlerinden, görevlilerinden, halkindan uzaklasacak, yalniz irmakta kalacaklar.››

8:11 And the frogs shall depart from you, and from your houses, and from your servants, and from your people; they shall remain in the river only.

8:12 Musayla Harun firavunun yanindan ayrildilar. Musa RABbin firavunun basina getirdigi kurbaga belasi için RABbe feryat etti.

8:12 And Moses and Aaron went out from Pharaoh: and Moses cried unto the LORD because of the frogs which he had brought against Pharaoh.

8:13 RAB Musanin istegini yerine getirdi. Kurbagalar evlerde, avlularda, tarlalarda öldüler.

8:13 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and the frogs died out of the houses, out of the villages, and out of the fields.

8:14 Kurbagalari yigin yigin topladilar. Ülke kokudan geçilmez oldu.

8:14 And they gathered them together upon heaps: and the land stank.

8:15 But when Pharaoh saw that there was respite, he hardened his heart, and hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

8:16 RAB Musaya söyle dedi: ‹‹Haruna de ki, ‹Degnegini uzatip yere vur, yerdeki toz sivrisinege dönüssün, bütün Misiri kaplasin.› ››

8:16 And the LORD said unto Moses, Say unto Aaron, Stretch out your rod, and strike the dust of the land, that it may become lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

8:17 Öyle yaptilar. Harun elindeki degnegi uzatip yere vurunca, insanlarla hayvanlarin üzerine sivrisinekler üsüstü. Misirda yerin bütün tozu sivrisinege dönüstü.

8:17 And they did so; for Aaron stretched out his hand with his rod, and stroke the dust of the earth, and it became lice in man, and in beast; all the dust of the land became lice throughout all the land of Egypt.

8:18 Büyücüler de kendi büyüleriyle tozu sivrisinege dönüstürmek istedilerse de basaramadilar. Insanlarin, hayvanlarin üzerini sivrisinek kapladi.

8:18 And the magicians did so with their enchantments to bring forth lice, but they could not: so there were lice upon man, and upon beast.

8:19 Then the magicians said unto Pharaoh, This is the finger of God: and Pharaoh's heart was hardened, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had said.

8:20 RAB Musaya söyle dedi: ‹‹Sabah erkenden kalk, firavun irmaga inerken onu karsila ve söyle de: ‹RAB diyor ki, halkimi saliver, bana tapsinlar.

8:20 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh; lo, he comes forth to the water; and say unto him, Thus says the LORD, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

8:21 Halkimi salivermezsen senin, görevlilerinin, halkinin, evlerinin üzerine atsinegi yagdiracagim. Misirlilarin evleri ve üzerinde yasadiklari topraklar atsinekleriyle dolup tasacak.

8:21 Else, if you will not let my people go, behold, I will send swarms of flies upon you, and upon your servants, and upon your people, and into your houses: and the houses of the Egyptians shall be full of swarms of flies, and also the ground whereon they are.

8:22 ‹‹ ‹Ama o gün halkimin yasadigi Gosen bölgesinde farkli davranacagim. Orada atsinegi olmayacak. Böylece bileceksin ki, bu ülkede RAB benim.

8:22 And I will sever in that day the land of Goshen, in which my people dwell, that no swarms of flies shall be there; to the end you may know that I am the LORD in the midst of the earth.

8:23 Kendi halkimla senin halkin arasina fark koyacagim. Yarin bu belirti gerçeklesecek.› ››

8:23 And I will put a division between my people and your people: tomorrow shall this sign be.

8:24 RAB dedigini yapti. Firavunun sarayina, görevlilerinin evlerine sürü sürü atsinegi gönderdi. Misir atsinegi yüzünden bastan sona harap oldu.

8:24 And the LORD did so; and there came a grievous swarm of flies into the house of Pharaoh, and into his servants' houses, and into all the land of Egypt: the land was corrupted by reason of the swarm of flies.

8:25 Firavun Musayla Harunu çagirtip, ‹‹Gidin, bu ülkede Tanriniza kurban kesin›› dedi.

8:25 And Pharaoh called for Moses and for Aaron, and said, Go all of you, sacrifice to your God in the land.

8:26 Musa, ‹‹Bu dogru olmaz›› diye karsilik verdi, ‹‹Çünkü Misirlilar Tanrimiz RABbe kurban kesmeyi igrenç sayiyorlar.

8:26 And Moses said, It is not meet so to do; for we shall sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians to the LORD our God: lo, shall we sacrifice the abomination of the Egyptians before their eyes, and will they not stone us?

8:27 We will go three days' journey into the wilderness, and sacrifice to the LORD our God, as he shall command us.

8:28 Firavun, ‹‹Çölde Tanriniz RABbe kurban kesmeniz için sizi saliveriyorum›› dedi, ‹‹Yalniz çok uzaga gitmeyeceksiniz. Simdi benim için dua edin.››

8:28 And Pharaoh said, I will let you go, that all of you may sacrifice to the LORD your God in the wilderness; only all of you shall not go very far away: implore for me.

8:29 Musa, ‹‹Yarin atsineklerini firavunun, görevlilerinin, halkinin üzerinden uzaklastirsin diye, yanindan ayrilir ayrilmaz RABbe dua edecegim›› dedi, ‹‹Yalniz firavun RABbe kurban kesmek için halkin gitmesini önleyerek bizi yine aldatmamali.››

8:29 And Moses said, Behold, I go out from you, and I will implore the LORD that the swarms of flies may depart from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people, tomorrow: but let not Pharaoh deal deceitfully any more in not letting the people go to sacrifice to the LORD.

8:30 Musa firavunun yanindan çikip RABbe dua etti.

8:30 And Moses went out from Pharaoh, and implored the LORD.

8:31 RAB Musanin istegini yerine getirdi; firavunun, görevlilerinin, halkinin üzerinden atsineklerini uzaklastirdi. Tek sinek kalmadi.

8:31 And the LORD did according to the word of Moses; and he removed the swarms of flies from Pharaoh, from his servants, and from his people; there remained not one.

8:32 And Pharaoh hardened his heart at this time also, neither would he let the people go.

 Exodus

9:1 Then the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh, and tell him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

9:2 Salivermeyi reddeder, onlari tutmakta diretirsen,

9:2 For if you refuse to let them go, and will hold them still,

9:3 RABbin eli kirlardaki hayvanlarinizi -atlari, esekleri, develeri, sigirlari, davarlari- büyük kirima ugratarak sizi cezalandiracak.

9:3 Behold, the hand of the LORD is upon your cattle which is in the field, upon the horses, upon the asses, upon the camels, upon the oxen, and upon the sheep: there shall be a very grievous murrain.

9:4 RAB Israillilerle Misirlilarin hayvanlarina farkli davranacak. Israillilerin hayvanlarindan hiçbiri ölmeyecek.› ››

9:4 And the LORD shall sever between the cattle of Israel and the cattle of Egypt: and there shall nothing die of all that is the children's of Israel.

9:5 RAB zamani da belirleyerek, ‹‹Yarin ülkede bunu yapacagim›› dedi.

9:5 And the LORD appointed a set time, saying, Tomorrow the LORD shall do this thing in the land.

9:6 Ertesi gün RAB dedigini yapti: Misirlilarin hayvanlari büyük çapta öldü. Ama Israillilerin hayvanlarindan hiçbiri ölmedi.

9:6 And the LORD did that thing on the next day, and all the cattle of Egypt died: but of the cattle of the children of Israel died not one.

9:7 Firavun adam gönderdi, Israillilerin bir tek hayvaninin bile ölmedigini ögrendi. Öyleyken, inat etti ve halki salivermedi.

9:7 And Pharaoh sent, and, behold, there was not one of the cattle of the Israelites dead. And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, and he did not let the people go.

9:8 RAB Musayla Haruna, ‹‹Yaniniza iki avuç dolusu ocak kurumu alin›› dedi, ‹‹Musa kurumu firavunun önünde göge dogru savursun.

9:8 And the LORD said unto Moses and unto Aaron, Take to you handfuls of ashes of the furnace, and let Moses sprinkle it toward the heaven in the sight of Pharaoh.

9:9 Kurum bütün Misirin üzerinde ince bir toza dönüsecek; ülkenin her yanindaki insanlarin, hayvanlarin bedenlerinde irinli çibanlar çikacak.››

9:9 And it shall become small dust in all the land of Egypt, and shall be a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast, throughout all the land of Egypt.

9:10 Böylece Musayla Harun ocak kurumu alip firavunun önünde durdular. Musa kurumu göge dogru savurdu. Insanlarda ve hayvanlarda irinli çibanlar çikti.

9:10 And they took ashes of the furnace, and stood before Pharaoh; and Moses sprinkled it up toward heaven; and it became a boil breaking forth with blains upon man, and upon beast.

9:11 And the magicians could not stand before Moses because of the boils; for the boil was upon the magicians, and upon all the Egyptians.

9:12 RAB firavunu inatçi yapti, RABbin Musaya söyledigi gibi, firavun Musayla Harunu dinlemedi.

9:12 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh, and he hearkened not unto them; as the LORD had spoken unto Moses.

9:13 RAB Musaya söyle dedi: ‹‹Sabah erkenden kalkip firavunun huzuruna çik, de ki, ‹Ibranilerin Tanrisi RAB söyle diyor: Halkimi saliver, bana tapsinlar.

9:13 And the LORD said unto Moses, Rise up early in the morning, and stand before Pharaoh, and say unto him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, Let my people go, that they may serve me.

9:14 For I will at this time send all my plagues upon yours heart, and upon your servants, and upon your people; that you may know that there is none like me in all the earth.

9:15 Çünkü elimi kaldirip seni ve halkini salgin hastalikla vurmus olsaydim, yeryüzünden silinmis olurdun.

9:15 For now I will stretch out my hand, that I may strike you and your people with pestilence; and you shall be cut off from the earth.

9:16 Gücümü sana göstermek, adimi bütün dünyaya tanitmak için seni ayakta tuttum.

9:16 And in very deed for this cause have I raised you up, in order to show in you my power; and that my name may be declared throughout all the earth.

9:17 Hâlâ halkimi salivermiyor, onlara üstünlük tasliyorsun.

9:17 As yet exalt you yourself against my people, that you will not let them go?

9:18 Behold, tomorrow about this time I will cause it to rain a very grievous hail, such as has not been in Egypt since the foundation thereof even until now.

9:19 Simdi buyruk ver, hayvanlarin ve kirda neyin varsa hepsi siginaklara konsun. Dolu yaginca, eve getirilmeyen, kirda kalan bütün insanlarla hayvanlar ölecek.› ››

9:19 Send therefore now, and gather your cattle, and all that you have in the field; for upon every man and beast which shall be found in the field, and shall not be brought home, the hail shall come down upon them, and they shall die.

9:20 Firavunun görevlileri arasinda RABbin uyarisindan korkanlar köleleriyle hayvanlarini çabucak evlerine getirdiler.

9:20 He that feared the word of the LORD among the servants of Pharaoh made his servants and his cattle flee into the houses:

9:21 RABbin uyarisini önemsemeyenler ise köleleriyle hayvanlarini tarlada birakti.

9:21 And he that regarded not the word of the LORD left his servants and his cattle in the field.

9:22 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Elini göge dogru uzat›› dedi, ‹‹Misirin her yerine, insanlarin, hayvanlarin, kirdaki bütün bitkilerin üzerine dolu yagsin.››

9:22 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch forth yours hand toward heaven, that there may be hail in all the land of Egypt, upon man, and upon beast, and upon every herb of the field, throughout the land of Egypt.

9:23 Musa degnegini göge dogru uzatinca RAB gök gürlemeleri ve dolu gönderdi. Yildirim düstü. RAB Misira dolu yagdirdi.

9:23 And Moses stretched forth his rod toward heaven: and the LORD sent thunder and hail, and the fire ran along upon the ground; and the LORD rained hail upon the land of Egypt.

9:24 Siddetli dolu yagiyor, sürekli simsek çakiyordu. Misir Misir olali böylesi bir dolu görmemisti.

9:24 So there was hail, and fire mingled with the hail, very grievous, such as there was none like it in all the land of Egypt since it became a nation.

9:25 Dolu Misirda insandan hayvana dek kirdaki her seyi, bütün bitkileri mahvetti, bütün agaçlari kirdi.

9:25 And the hail stroke throughout all the land of Egypt all that was in the field, both man and beast; and the hail stroke every herb of the field, and brake every tree of the field.

9:26 Yalniz Israillilerin yasadigi Gosen bölgesine dolu düsmedi.

9:26 Only in the land of Goshen, where the children of Israel were, was there no hail.

9:27 Firavun Musayla Harunu çagirtarak, ‹‹Bu kez günah isledim›› dedi, ‹‹RAB hakli, ben ve halkim haksiziz.

9:27 And Pharaoh sent, and called for Moses and Aaron, and said unto them, I have sinned this time: the LORD is righteous, and I and my people are wicked.

Sizi saliverecegim, artik burada kalmayacaksiniz.››

9:28 Implore the LORD (for it is enough) that there be no more mighty thunderings and hail; and I will let you go, and all of you shall stay no longer.

9:29 Musa, ‹‹Kentten çikinca, ellerimi RABbe uzatacagim›› dedi, ‹‹Gök gürlemeleri duracak, artik dolu yagmayacak. Böylece dünyanin RABbe ait oldugunu bileceksin.

9:29 And Moses said unto him, As soon as I am gone out of the city, I will spread abroad my hands unto the LORD; and the thunder shall cease, neither shall there be any more hail; that you may know how that the earth is the LORD's.

9:30 But as for you and your servants, I know that all of you will not yet fear the LORD God.

9:31 Keten ve arpa mahvolmustu; çünkü arpa basak vermis, keten çiçek açmisti.

9:31 And the flax and the barley was smitten: for the barley was in the ear, and the flax was in bud.

9:32 But the wheat and the spelt were not smitten: for they were not grown up.

9:33 Musa firavunun yanindan ayrilip kentten çikti. Ellerini RABbe uzatti. Gök gürlemesi ve dolu durdu, yagmur dindi.

9:33 And Moses went out of the city from Pharaoh, and spread abroad his hands unto the LORD: and the thunders and hail ceased, and the rain was not poured upon the earth.

9:34 Firavun yagmurun, dolunun, gök gürlemesinin kesildigini görünce, yine günah isledi. Hem kendisi, hem görevlileri inat ettiler.

9:34 And when Pharaoh saw that the rain and the hail and the thunders were ceased, he sinned yet more, and hardened his heart, he and his servants.

9:35 RAB'bin Musa araciligiyla söyledigi gibi, firavun inat ederek Israilliler'i salivermedi.

9:35 And the heart of Pharaoh was hardened, neither would he let the children of Israel go; as the LORD had spoken by Moses.

 Exodus

10:1 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Firavunun yanina git›› dedi, ‹‹Belirtilerimi aralarinda göstermek için firavunla görevlilerini inatçi yaptim.

10:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Go in unto Pharaoh: for I have hardened his heart, and the heart of his servants, that I might show these my signs before him:

10:2 Misirla nasil alay ettigimi, aralarinda gösterdigim belirtileri sen de çocuklarina, torunlarina anlat ki, benim RAB oldugumu bilesiniz.››

10:2 And that you may tell in the ears of your son, and of your son's son, what things I have wrought in Egypt, and my signs which I have done among them; that all of you may know how that I am the LORD.

10:3 Musayla Harun firavunun yanina varip söyle dediler: ‹‹Ibranilerin Tanrisi RAB diyor ki, ‹Ne zamana dek alçakgönüllü olmayi reddedeceksin? Halkimi saliver, bana tapsinlar.

10:3 And Moses and Aaron came in unto Pharaoh, and said unto him, Thus says the LORD God of the Hebrews, How long will you refuse to humble yourself before me? let my people go, that they may serve me.

10:4 Halkimi salivermeyi reddedersen, yarin ülkene çekirgeler gönderecegim.

10:4 Else, if you refuse to let my people go, behold, tomorrow will I bring the locusts into your coast:

10:5 Yeryüzünü öylesine kaplayacaklar ki, toprak görünmez olacak. Doludan kurtulan ürünlerinizi, kirda biten bütün agaçlarinizi yiyecekler.

10:5 And they shall cover the face of the earth, that one cannot be able to see the earth: and they shall eat the residue of that which is escaped, which remains unto you from the hail, and shall eat every tree which grows for you out of the field:

10:6 Evlerine, bütün görevlilerinin, bütün Misirlilarin evlerine çekirge dolacak. Ne babalarin, ne atalarin ömürlerince böylesini görmediler.› ›› Sonra Musa dönüp firavunun yanindan ayrildi.

10:6 And they shall fill your houses, and the houses of all your servants, and the houses of all the Egyptians; which neither your fathers, nor your fathers' fathers have seen, since the day that they were upon the earth unto this day. And he turned himself, and went out from Pharaoh.

10:7 Görevlileri firavuna, ‹‹Ne zamana dek bu adam bize tuzak kuracak?›› dediler, ‹‹Birak gitsinler, Tanrilari RABbe tapsinlar. Misir harap oldu, hâlâ anlamiyor musun?››

10:7 And Pharaoh's servants said unto him, How long shall this man be a snare unto us? let the men go, that they may serve the LORD their God: know you not yet that Egypt is destroyed?

10:8 Böylece, Musayla Harunu firavunun yanina geri getirdiler. Firavun, ‹‹Gidin, Tanriniz RABbe tapin›› dedi, ‹‹Ama kimler gidecek?››

10:8 And Moses and Aaron were brought again unto Pharaoh: and he said unto them, Go, serve the LORD your God: but who are they that shall go?

10:9 Musa, ‹‹Genç, yasli hep birlikte gidecegiz›› dedi, ‹‹Ogullarimizi, kizlarimizi, davarlarimizi, sigirlarimizi yanimiza alacagiz. Çünkü RABbe bayram yapmaliyiz.››

10:9 And Moses said, We will go with our young and with our old, with our sons and with our daughters, with our flocks and with our herds will we go; for we must hold a feast unto the LORD.

10:10 Firavun, ‹‹Alin çoluk çocugunuzu, gidin gidebilirseniz, RAB yardimciniz olsun!›› dedi, ‹‹Bakin, kötü niyetiniz ne kadar açik.

10:10 And he said unto them, Let the LORD be so with you, as I will let you go, and your little ones: look to it; for evil is before you.

10:11 Olmaz. Yalniz erkekler gidip RABbe tapsin.

10:11 Not so: go now all of you that are men, and serve the LORD; for that all of you did desire. And they were driven out from Pharaoh's presence.

10:12 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Elini Misirin üzerine uzat›› dedi, ‹‹Çekirge yagsin; ülkenin bütün bitkilerini, doludan kurtulan her seyi yesinler.››

10:12 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out yours hand over the land of Egypt for the locusts, that they may come up upon the land of Egypt, and eat every herb of the land, even all that the hail has left.

10:13 Musa degnegini Misirin üzerine uzatti. Bütün o gün ve gece RAB ülkede dogu rüzgari estirdi. Sabah olunca da dogu rüzgari çekirgeleri getirdi.

10:13 And Moses stretched forth his rod over the land of Egypt, and the LORD brought an east wind upon the land all that day, and all that night; and when it was morning, the east wind brought the locusts.

10:14 And the locust went up over all the land of Egypt, and rested in all the coasts of Egypt: very grievous were they; before them there were no such locusts as they, neither after them shall be such.

10:15 For they covered the face of the whole earth, so that the land was darkened; and they did eat every herb of the land, and all the fruit of the trees which the hail had left: and there remained not any green thing in the trees, or in the herbs of the field, through all the land of Egypt.

10:16 Firavun acele Musayla Harunu çagirtti. ‹‹Tanriniz RABbe ve size karsi günah isledim›› dedi,

10:16 Then Pharaoh called for Moses and Aaron in haste; and he said, I have sinned against the LORD your God, and against you.

10:17 Now therefore forgive, I pray you, my sin only this once, and implore the LORD your God, that he may take away from me this death only.

10:18 Musa firavunun yanindan çikip RABbe dua etti.

10:18 And he went out from Pharaoh, and implored the LORD.

10:19 RAB rüzgari çok siddetli bati rüzgarina döndürdü. Rüzgar çekirgeleri sürükleyip Kizildenize döktü. Misirda tek çekirge kalmadi.

10:19 And the LORD turned a mighty strong west wind, which took away the locusts, and cast them into the Red sea; there remained not one locust in all the coasts of Egypt.

10:20 Ama RAB firavunu inatçi yapti. Firavun Israillileri salivermedi.

10:20 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go.

10:21 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Elini göge dogru uzat›› dedi, ‹‹Misiri hissedilebilir bir karanlik kaplasin.››

10:21 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out yours hand toward heaven, that there may be darkness over the land of Egypt, even darkness which may be felt.

10:22 Musa elini göge dogru uzatti, Misir üç gün koyu karanliga gömüldü.

10:22 And Moses stretched forth his hand toward heaven; and there was a thick darkness in all the land of Egypt three days:

10:23 Üç gün boyunca kimse kimseyi göremez, yerinden kimildayamaz oldu. Yalniz Israillilerin yasadigi yerler aydinlikti.

10:23 They saw not one another, neither rose any from his place for three days: but all the children of Israel had light in their dwellings.

10:24 Firavun Musayi çagirtti. ‹‹Gidin, RABbe tapin›› dedi, ‹‹Yalniz davarlarinizla sigirlariniz alikonacak. Çoluk çocugunuz sizinle birlikte gidebilir.››

10:24 And Pharaoh called unto Moses, and said, Go all of you, serve the LORD; only let your flocks and your herds be stayed: let your little ones also go with you.

10:25 And Moses said, You must give us also sacrifices and burnt offerings, that we may sacrifice unto the LORD our God.

10:26 ‹‹Hayvanlarimizi da yanimiza almaliyiz. Bir tirnak bile kalmamali burada. Çünkü Tanrimiz RABbe tapmak için bazi hayvanlari kullanacagiz. Oraya varmadikça hangi hayvanlari RABbe sunacagimizi bilemeyiz.››

10:26 Our cattle also shall go with us; there shall not an hoof be left behind; for thereof must we take to serve the LORD our God; and we know not with what we must serve the LORD, until we come thither.

10:27 Ancak RAB firavunu inatçi yapti, firavun Israillileri salivermeye yanasmadi.

10:27 But the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, and he would not let them go.

10:28 And Pharaoh said unto him, Get you from me, take heed to yourself, see my face no more; for in that day you see my face you shall die.

10:29 And Moses said, You have spoken well, I will see your face again no more.

 Exodus

11:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Yet will I bring one plague more upon Pharaoh, and upon Egypt; afterwards he will let you go behind: when he shall let you go, he shall surely thrust you out behind altogether.

11:2 Halkina söyle, kadin erkek herkes komsusundan altin, gümüs esya istesin.››

11:2 Speak now in the ears of the people, and let every man borrow of his neighbour, and every woman of her neighbour, jewels of silver and jewels of gold.

11:3 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians. Moreover the man Moses was very great in the land of Egypt, in the sight of Pharaoh's servants, and in the sight of the people.

11:4 Musa firavuna söyle dedi: ‹‹RAB diyor ki, ‹Gece yarisi Misiri boydan boya geçecegim.

11:4 And Moses said, Thus says the LORD, About midnight will I go out into the midst of Egypt:

11:5 Tahtinda oturan firavunun ilk çocugundan, degirmendeki kadin kölenin ilk çocuguna kadar, hayvanlar dahil Misirdaki bütün ilk doganlar ölecek.

11:5 And all the firstborn in the land of Egypt shall die, from the first born of Pharaoh that sits upon his throne, even unto the firstborn of the maidservant that is behind the mill; and all the firstborn of beasts.

11:6 And there shall be a great cry throughout all the land of Egypt, such as there was none like it, nor shall be like it any more.

11:7 But against any of the children of Israel shall not a dog move his tongue, against man or beast: that all of you may know how that the LORD does put a difference between the Egyptians and Israel.

11:8 And all these your servants shall come down unto me, and bow down themselves unto me, saying, Get you out, and all the people that follow you: and after that I will go out. And he went out from Pharaoh in a great anger.

11:9 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Misirda sasilasi islerim çogalsin diye firavun sizi dinlemeyecek›› demisti.

11:9 And the LORD said unto Moses, Pharaoh shall not hearken unto you; that my wonders may be multiplied in the land of Egypt.

11:10 Musa'yla Harun firavunun önünde bütün bu sasilasi isleri yaptilar. Ama RAB firavunu inatçi yapti. Firavun Israilliler'i ülkesinden salivermedi.

11:10 And Moses and Aaron did all these wonders before Pharaoh: and the LORD hardened Pharaoh's heart, so that he would not let the children of Israel go out of his land.

 Exodus

12:1 RAB Misirda Musayla Haruna, ‹‹Bu ay sizin için ilk ay, yilin ilk ayi olacak›› dedi,

12:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt saying,

12:2 This month shall be unto you the beginning of months: it shall be the first month of the year to you.

12:3 ‹‹Bütün Israil topluluguna bildirin: Bu ayin onunda herkes ailesine göre kendi ev halkina birer kuzu alacak.

12:3 Speak all of you unto all the congregation of Israel, saying, In the tenth day of this month they shall take to them every man a lamb, according to the house of their fathers, a lamb for an house:

12:4 Eger bir kuzu bir aileye çok geliyorsa, aile bireylerinin sayisi ve herkesin yiyecegi miktar hesaplanacak ve aile kuzuyu en yakin komsusuyla paylasabilecek.

12:4 And if the household be too little for the lamb, let him and his neighbour next unto his house take it according to the number of the souls; every man according to his eating shall make your count for the lamb.

12:5 Your lamb shall be without blemish, a male of the first year: all of you shall take it out from the sheep, or from the goats:

12:6 Ayin on dördüne kadar ona bakacaksiniz. O aksamüstü bütün Israil toplulugu hayvanlari bogazlayacak.

12:6 And all of you shall keep it up until the fourteenth day of the same month: and the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel shall kill it in the evening.

12:7 Hayvanin kanini alip, etin yenecegi evin yan ve üst kapi sövelerine sürecekler.

12:7 And they shall take of the blood, and strike it on the two side posts and on the upper door post of the houses, wherein they shall eat it.

12:8 O gece ateste kizartilmis et mayasiz ekmek ve aci otlarla yenmelidir.

12:8 And they shall eat the flesh in that night, roast with fire, and unleavened bread; and with bitter herbs they shall eat it.

12:9 Eat not of it raw, nor sodden at all with water, but roast with fire; his head with his legs, and with the inwards thereof.

12:10 Sabaha kadar bitirmelisiniz. Artakalan olursa, sabah ateste yakacaksiniz.

12:10 And all of you shall let nothing of it remain until the morning; and that which remains of it until the morning all of you shall burn with fire.

12:11 Eti söyle yemelisiniz: Beliniz kusanmis, çariklariniz ayaginizda, degneginiz elinizde olmali. Eti çabuk yemelisiniz. Bu RABbin Fisih kurbanidir. anlamina da gelir.

12:11 And thus shall all of you eat it; with your loins girded, your shoes on your feet, and your staff in your hand; and all of you shall eat it in haste: it is the LORD's passover.

Ben RABbim.

12:12 For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will strike all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the LORD.

12:13 Bulundugunuz evlerin üzerindeki kan sizin için belirti olacak. Kani görünce üzerinizden geçecegim. Misiri cezalandirirken ölüm saçan size hiçbir zarar vermeyecek.

12:13 And the blood shall be to you for a token upon the houses where all of you are: and when I see the blood, I will pass over you, and the plague shall not be upon you to destroy you, when I strike the land of Egypt.

12:14 And this day shall be unto you for a memorial; and all of you shall keep it a feast to the LORD throughout your generations; all of you shall keep it a feast by an ordinance for ever.

12:15 Seven days shall all of you eat unleavened bread; even the first day all of you shall put away leaven out of your houses: for whosoever eats leavened bread from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall be cut off from Israel.

12:16 Birinci ve yedinci günler kutsal toplanti yapacaksiniz. O günler hiçbir is yapilmayacak. Herkes yalniz kendi yiyecegini hazirlayacak.

12:16 And in the first day there shall be an holy convocation, and in the seventh day there shall be an holy convocation to you; no manner of work shall be done in them, save that which every man must eat, that only may be done of you.

12:17 And all of you shall observe the feast of unleavened bread; for in this very same day have I brought your armies out of the land of Egypt: therefore shall all of you observe this day in your generations by an ordinance for ever.

12:18 Birinci ayin on dördüncü gününün aksamindan yirmi birinci gününün aksamina kadar mayasiz ekmek yiyeceksiniz.

12:18 In the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month at even, all of you shall eat unleavened bread, until the one and twentieth day of the month at even.

12:19 Evlerinizde yedi gün maya bulunmayacak. Mayali bir sey yiyen yerli yabanci herkes Israil toplulugundan atilacaktir.

12:19 Seven days shall there be no leaven found in your houses: for whosoever eats that which is leavened, even that soul shall be cut off from the congregation of Israel, whether he be a stranger, or born in the land.

12:20 Mayali bir sey yemeyeceksiniz. Yasadiginiz her yerde mayasiz ekmek yiyeceksiniz.››

12:20 All of you shall eat nothing leavened; in all your habitations shall all of you eat unleavened bread.

12:21 Musa Israilin bütün ileri gelenlerini çagirtarak onlara söyle dedi: ‹‹Hemen gidin, aileleriniz için kendinize davarlar seçip Fisih kurbani olarak bogazlayin.

12:21 Then Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to your families, and kill the passover.

12:22 Bir demet mercanköskotu alin, legendeki kana batirip kani kapilarinizin yan ve üst sövelerine sürün. Sabaha kadar kimse evinden çikmasin.

12:22 And all of you shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip it in the blood that is in the basin, and strike the lintel and the two side posts with the blood that is in the basin; and none of you shall go out at the door of his house until the morning.

12:23 RAB Misirlilari öldürmek için gelecek, kapilarinizin yan ve üst sövelerindeki kani görünce üzerinden geçecek, ölüm saçanin evlerinize girip sizi öldürmesine izin vermeyecek.

12:23 For the LORD will pass through to strike the Egyptians; and when he sees the blood upon the lintel, and on the two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your houses to strike you.

12:24 And all of you shall observe this thing for an ordinance to you and to your sons for ever.

12:25 RABbin size söz verdigi topraklara girdiginiz zaman bu töreye uyacaksiniz.

12:25 And it shall come to pass, when all of you be come to the land which the LORD will give you, according as he has promised, that all of you shall keep this service.

12:26 Çocuklariniz size, ‹Bu törenin anlami nedir?› diye sorduklarinda,

12:26 And it shall come to pass, when your children shall say unto you, What mean all of you by this service?

12:27 ‹Bu RABbin Fisih kurbanidir› diyeceksiniz, ‹Çünkü RAB Misirlilari öldürürken evlerimizin üzerinden geçerek bizi bagisladi.› ›› Israilliler egilip tapindilar.

12:27 That all of you shall say, It is the sacrifice of the LORD's passover, who passed over the houses of the children of Israel in Egypt, when he stroke the Egyptians, and delivered our houses. And the people bowed the head and worshipped.

12:28 Sonra gidip RABbin Musayla Haruna verdigi buyrugu eksiksiz uyguladilar.

12:28 And the children of Israel went away, and did as the LORD had commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

12:29 Gece yarisi RAB tahtinda oturan firavunun ilk çocugundan zindandaki tutsagin ilk çocuguna kadar Misirdaki bütün insanlarin ve hayvanlarin ilk doganlarini öldürdü.

12:29 And it came to pass, that at midnight the LORD stroke all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh that sat on his throne unto the firstborn of the captive that was in the dungeon; and all the firstborn of cattle.

12:30 O gece firavunla görevlileri ve bütün Misirlilar uyandi. Büyük feryat koptu. Çünkü ölüsü olmayan ev yoktu.

12:30 And Pharaoh rose up in the night, he, and all his servants, and all the Egyptians; and there was a great cry in Egypt; for there was not a house where there was not one dead.

12:31 And he called for Moses and Aaron by night, and said, Rise up, and get you forth from among my people, both all of you and the children of Israel; and go, serve the LORD, as all of you have said.

12:32 Dediginiz gibi davarlarinizi, sigirlarinizi da alin götürün. Beni de kutsayin!››

12:32 Also take your flocks and your herds, as all of you have said, and be gone; and bless me also.

12:33 Israillilerin ülkeyi hemen terk etmesi için Misirlilar diretti. ‹‹Yoksa hepimiz ölecegiz!›› diyorlardi.

12:33 And the Egyptians were urgent upon the people, that they might send them out of the land in haste; for they said, We be all dead men.

12:34 Böylece halk mayasi henüz katilmamis hamurunu aldi, giysilere sarili hamur teknelerini omuzlarinda tasidi.

12:34 And the people took their dough before it was leavened, their kneading troughs being bound up in their clothes upon their shoulders.

12:35 Israilliler Musanin dedigini yapmis, Misirlilardan altin, gümüs esya ve giysi istemislerdi.

12:35 And the children of Israel did according to the word of Moses; and they borrowed of the Egyptians jewels of silver, and jewels of gold, and raiment:

12:36 RAB Israillilerin Misirlilarin gözünde lütuf bulmasini sagladi. Misirlilar onlara istediklerini verdiler. Böylece Israilliler onlari soydular.

12:36 And the LORD gave the people favour in the sight of the Egyptians, so that they lent unto them such things as they required. And they spoiled the Egyptians.

12:37 And the children of Israel journeyed from Rameses to Succoth, about six hundred thousand on foot that were men, beside children.

12:38 And a mixed multitude went up also with them; and flocks, and herds, even very much cattle.

12:39 Misirdan getirdikleri hamurla mayasiz pide pisirdiler. Maya yoktu. Çünkü Misirdan kovulmuslar, kendilerine azik hazirlayacak zaman bulamamislardi.

12:39 And they baked unleavened cakes of the dough which they brought forth out of Egypt, for it was not leavened; because they were thrust out of Egypt, and could not tarry, neither had they prepared for themselves any victual.

12:40 Israilliler Misirda dört yüz otuz yil yasadi.

12:40 Now the sojourning of the children of Israel, who dwelt in Egypt, was four hundred and thirty years.

12:41 Dört yüz otuz yilin sonuncu günü RABbin halki ordular halinde Misiri terk etti.

12:41 And it came to pass at the end of the four hundred and thirty years, even the very same day it came to pass, that all the hosts of the LORD went out from the land of Egypt.

12:42 It is a night to be much observed unto the LORD for bringing them out from the land of Egypt: this is that night of the LORD to be observed of all the children of Israel in their generations.

12:43 RAB Musayla Haruna söyle dedi: ‹‹Fisih Bayraminin kurallari sunlardir: Hiçbir yabanci Fisih etini yemeyecek.

12:43 And the LORD said unto Moses and Aaron, This is the ordinance of the passover: There shall no stranger eat thereof:

12:44 Ama satin aldiginiz köleler sünnet edildikten sonra ondan yiyebilir.

12:44 But every man's servant that is bought for money, when you have circumcised him, then shall he eat thereof.

12:45 Konuklar ve ücretli isçiler ondan yemeyecek.

12:45 A foreigner and an hired servant shall not eat thereof.

12:46 Fisih eti evde yenmeli, evin disina çikarilmamali. Kemikleri kirmayacaksiniz.

12:46 In one house shall it be eaten; you shall not carry forth ought of the flesh abroad out of the house; neither shall all of you break a bone thereof.

12:47 Bütün Israil toplulugu Fisih Bayramini kutlayacak.

12:47 All the congregation of Israel shall keep it.

12:48 Yaninizdaki yabanci bir konuk RABbin Fisih Bayramini kutlamak isterse, önce evindeki bütün erkekler sünnet edilmeli; sonra yerel halktan biri gibi Israil halkina katilip bayrami kutlayabilir. Ama sünnetsiz biri Fisih etini yemeyecektir.

12:48 And when a stranger shall sojourn with you, and will keep the passover to the LORD, let all his males be circumcised, and then let him come near and keep it; and he shall be as one that is born in the land: for no uncircumcised person shall eat thereof.

12:49 One law shall be to him that is native, and unto the stranger that sojourns among you.

12:50 Israilliler RABbin Musayla Haruna verdigi buyrugu eksiksiz yerine getirdiler.

12:50 Thus did all the children of Israel; as the LORD commanded Moses and Aaron, so did they.

12:51 O gün RAB Israilliler'i ordular halinde Misir'dan çikardi.

12:51 And it came to pass the very same day, that the LORD did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies.

 Exodus

13:1 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Bütün ilk doganlari bana adayin›› dedi, ‹‹Israilliler arasinda insan olsun, hayvan olsun her rahmin ilk ürünü bana aittir.››

13:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

13:2 Sanctify unto me all the firstborn, whatsoever opens the womb among the children of Israel, both of man and of beast: it is mine.

13:3 Musa halka, ‹‹Misirdan, köle oldugunuz ülkeden çiktiginiz bugünü animsayin›› dedi, ‹‹Çünkü RAB güçlü eliyle sizi oradan çikardi. Mayali hiçbir sey yenmeyecek.

13:3 And Moses said unto the people, Remember this day, in which all of you came out from Egypt, out of the house of bondage; for by strength of hand the LORD brought you out from this place: there shall no leavened bread be eaten.

13:4 Bugün Aviv ayinda buradan ayriliyorsunuz.

13:4 This day came all of you out in the month Abib.

13:5 RAB sizi Kenan, Hitit, Amor, Hiv ve Yevus topraklarina, atalariniza verecegine ant içtigi süt ve bal akan ülkeye götürdügü zaman bu ay su törelere uyacaksiniz:

13:5 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, and the Hittites, and the Amorites, and the Hivites, and the Jebusites, which he swore unto your fathers to give you, a land flowing with milk and honey, that you shall keep this service in this month.

13:6 Yedi gün mayasiz ekmek yiyecek, yedinci gün RABbe bayram yapacaksiniz.

13:6 Seven days you shall eat unleavened bread, and in the seventh day shall be a feast to the LORD.

13:7 Unleavened bread shall be eaten seven days; and there shall no leavened bread be seen with you, neither shall there be leaven seen with you in all your quarters.

13:8 O gün ogullariniza, ‹Misirdan çiktigimizda RABbin bizim için yaptiklarindan dolayi bunlari yapiyoruz› diye anlatacaksiniz.

13:8 And you shall show your son in that day, saying, This is done because of that which the LORD did unto me when I came forth out of Egypt.

13:9 And it shall be for a sign unto you upon yours hand, and for a memorial between yours eyes, that the LORD's law may be in your mouth: for with a strong hand has the LORD brought you out of Egypt.

13:10 You shall therefore keep this ordinance in his season from year to year.

Orayi size verdigi zaman,

13:11 And it shall be when the LORD shall bring you into the land of the Canaanites, as he swore unto you and to your fathers, and shall give it you,

13:12 ilk dogan erkek çocuklarinizin ve hayvanlarinizin hepsini RABbe adayacaksiniz. Çünkü bunlar RABbe aittir.

13:12 That you shall set apart unto the LORD all that opens the womb, and every first born that comes of a beast which you have; the males shall be the LORD's.

13:13 Ilk dogan her sipanin bedelini bir kuzuyla ödeyin. Bedelini ödemezseniz, boynunu kirin. Bütün ilk dogan erkek çocuklarinizin bedelini ödemelisiniz.

13:13 And every first born of an ass you shall redeem with a lamb; and if you will not redeem it, then you shall break his neck: and all the firstborn of man among your children shall you redeem.

13:14 ‹‹Ilerde ogullariniz size, ‹Bunun anlami ne?› diye sorduklarinda, ‹RAB bizi güçlü eliyle Misirdan, köle oldugumuz ülkeden çikardi› diye yanitlarsiniz,

13:14 And it shall be when your son asks you in time to come, saying, What is this? that you shall say unto him, By strength of hand the LORD brought us out from Egypt, from the house of bondage:

13:15 ‹Firavun bizi salivermemekte diretince, RAB Misirda insanlarin ve hayvanlarin bütün ilk doganlarini öldürdü. Iste bunun için hayvanlarin ilk dogan erkek yavrularini RABbe kurban ediyoruz. Ilk dogan erkek çocuklarimizin bedelini ise bir hayvanla ödüyoruz.›

13:15 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh would hardly let us go, that the LORD slew all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both the firstborn of man, and the firstborn of beast: therefore I sacrifice to the LORD all that opens the womb, being males; but all the firstborn of my children I redeem.

13:16 And it shall be for a token upon yours hand, and for frontlets between yours eyes: for by strength of hand the LORD brought us forth out of Egypt.

13:17 Firavun Israillileri saliverdiginde, Filist yöresi yakin olmasina karsin, Tanri onlari oradan götürmedi. Çünkü, ‹‹Halk savasla karsilasinca, düsüncelerini degistirip Misira geri dönebilir›› diye düsündü.

13:17 And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, Lest possibly the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt:

13:18 Halki çöl yolundan Kizildenize dogru dolastirdi. Israilliler Misirdan silahli çikmislardi.

13:18 But God led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the Red sea: and the children of Israel went up harnessed out of the land of Egypt.

13:19 Musa Yusufun kemiklerini yanina almisti. Çünkü Yusuf Israilin ogullarina, ‹‹Tanri kesinlikle size yardim edecek, kemiklerimi buradan götüreceksiniz›› diye siki siki ant içirmisti.

13:19 And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him: for he had strictly sworn the children of Israel, saying, God will surely visit you; and all of you shall carry up my bones away behind with you.

13:20 Sukkottan ayrilip çöl kenarinda, Etamda konakladilar.

13:20 And they took their journey from Succoth, and encamped in Etham, in the edge of the wilderness.

13:21 Gece gündüz ilerlemeleri için, RAB gündüzün bir bulut sütunu içinde yol göstererek, geceleyin bir ates sütunu içinde isik vererek onlara öncülük ediyordu.

13:21 And the LORD went before them by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

13:22 Gündüz bulut sütunu, gece ates sütunu halkin önünden eksik olmadi.

13:22 He took not away the pillar of the cloud by day, nor the pillar of fire by night, from before the people.

 Exodus

14:1 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Israillilere söyle, dönsünler›› dedi, ‹‹Pi- Hahirot yakinlarinda, Migdol ile deniz arasinda, Baal-Sefonun karsisinda deniz kiyisinda konaklasinlar.

14:1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,

14:2 Speak unto the children of Israel, that they turn and camp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite to Baalzephon: before it shall all of you camp by the sea.

14:3 Firavun söyle düsünecek: ‹Israilliler ülkede saskin saskin dolasiyorlardir, çöl onlari kusatmistir.›

14:3 For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are entangled in the land, the wilderness has shut them in.

14:4 Firavunu inatçi yapacagim. Onlarin pesine düsecek. Böylece firavunla ordusunu yenerek yücelik kazanacagim. Misirlilar bilecek ki, ben RABbim.›› Israilliler söyleneni yaptilar.

14:4 And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honoured upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the LORD. And they did so.

14:5 Halkin kaçtigi Misir Firavununa bildirilince, firavunla görevlileri onlara iliskin düsüncelerini degistirdiler: ‹‹Biz ne yaptik?›› dediler, ‹‹Israillileri salivermekle kölelerimizi kaybetmis olduk!››

14:5 And it was told the king of Egypt that the people fled: and the heart of Pharaoh and of his servants was turned against the people, and they said, Why have we done this, that we have let Israel go from serving us?

14:6 Firavun savas arabasini hazirlatti, ordusunu yanina aldi.

14:6 And he made ready his chariot, and took his people with him:

14:7 Seçme alti yüz savas arabasinin yanisira, Misirin bütün savas arabalarini sorumlu sürücüleriyle birlikte yanina aldi.

14:7 And he took six hundred chosen chariots, and all the chariots of Egypt, and captains over every one of them.

14:8 RAB Misir Firavununu inatçi yapti. Firavun zafer havasi içinde ilerleyen Israillilerin pesine düstü.

14:8 And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand.

14:9 Misirlilar firavunun bütün atlari, savas arabalari, atlilari, askerleriyle onlarin ardina düstüler ve deniz kiyisinda, Pi-Hahirot yakinlarinda, Baal-Sefonun karsisinda konaklarken onlara yetistiler.

14:9 But the Egyptians pursued after them, all the horses and chariots of Pharaoh, and his horsemen, and his army, and overtook them encamping by the sea, beside Pihahiroth, before Baalzephon.

14:10 Firavun yaklasirken, Israilliler Misirlilarin arkalarindan geldigini görünce dehsete kapilarak RABbe feryat ettiler.

14:10 And when Pharaoh drew nigh, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and, behold, the Egyptians marched after them; and they were sore afraid: and the children of Israel cried out unto the LORD.

14:11 And they said unto Moses, Because there were no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? wherefore have you dealt thus with us, to carry us forth out of Egypt?

14:12 Is not this the word that we did tell you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians? For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness.

14:13 Musa, ‹‹Korkmayin!›› dedi, ‹‹Yerinizde durup bekleyin, RAB bugün sizi nasil kurtaracak görün. Bugün gördügünüz Misirlilari bir daha hiç görmeyeceksiniz.

14:13 And Moses said unto the people, Fear all of you not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will show to you to day: for the Egyptians whom all of you have seen to day, all of you shall see them again no more for ever.

14:14 RAB sizin için savasacak, siz sakin olun yeter.››

14:14 The LORD shall fight for you, and all of you shall hold your peace.

14:15 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Niçin bana feryat ediyorsun?›› dedi, ‹‹Israillilere söyle, ilerlesinler.

14:15 And the LORD said unto Moses, Wherefore cry you unto me? speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward:

14:16 Sen degnegini kaldir, elini denizin üzerine uzat. Sular yarilacak ve Israilliler kuru toprak üzerinde yürüyerek denizi geçecekler.

14:16 But lift you up your rod, and stretch out yours hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea.

14:17 Ben Misirlilari inatçi yapacagim ki, artlarina düssünler. Firavunu, bütün ordusunu, savas arabalarini, atlilarini yenerek yücelik kazanacagim.

14:17 And I, behold, I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honour upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:18 Firavun, savas arabalari ve atlilarindan ötürü yücelik kazandigim zaman, Misirlilar bilecek ki, ben RABbim.››

14:18 And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have got me honour upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen.

14:19 And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of the cloud went from before their face, and stood behind them:

iki taraf birbirine yaklasamadi.

14:20 And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of Israel; and it was a cloud and darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one came not near the other all the night.

14:21 Musa elini denizin üzerine uzatti. RAB bütün gece güçlü dogu rüzgariyla sulari geri itti, denizi karaya çevirdi. Sular ikiye bölündü,

14:21 And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

14:22 Israilliler kuru toprak üzerinde yürüyerek denizi geçtiler. Sular saglarinda, sollarinda onlara duvar olusturdu.

14:22 And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:23 Misirlilar artlarindan geliyordu. Firavunun bütün atlari, savas arabalari, atlilari denizde onlari izliyordu.

14:23 And the Egyptians pursued, and went in after them to the midst of the sea, even all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

14:24 Sabah nöbetinde RAB ates ve bulut sütunundan Misir ordusuna bakti ve onlari saskina çevirdi.

14:24 And it came to pass, that in the morning watch the LORD looked unto the host of the Egyptians through the pillar of fire and of the cloud, and troubled the host of the Egyptians,

14:25 Arabalarinin tekerleklerini çikardi; öyle ki, arabalarini zorlukla sürdüler. Misirlilar, ‹‹Israillilerden kaçalim!›› dediler, ‹‹Çünkü RAB onlar için bizimle savasiyor.›› ‹‹Çamura saplanmasini sagladi›› anlamina da gelebilir.

14:25 And took off their chariot wheels, that they drove them heavily: so that the Egyptians said, Let us flee from the face of Israel; for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians.

14:26 RAB Musaya, ‹‹Elini denizin üzerine uzat›› dedi, ‹‹Sular Misirlilarin, savas arabalarinin, atlilarinin üzerine dönsün.››

14:26 And the LORD said unto Moses, Stretch out yours hand over the sea, that the waters may come again upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen.

14:27 Musa elini denizin üzerine uzatti. Sabaha karsi deniz olagan haline döndü. Misirlilar sulardan kaçarken RAB onlari denizin ortasinda silkip atti.

14:27 And Moses stretched forth his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to his strength when the morning appeared; and the Egyptians fled against it; and the LORD overthrew the Egyptians in the midst of the sea.

14:28 Geri dönen sular savas arabalarini, atlilari, Israillilerin pesinden denize dalan firavunun bütün ordusunu yuttu. Onlardan bir kisi bile sag kalmadi.

14:28 And the waters returned, and covered the chariots, and the horsemen, and all the host of Pharaoh that came into the sea after them; there remained not so much as one of them.

14:29 Ama Israilliler denizi kuru toprakta yürüyerek geçmislerdi. Sular saglarinda, sollarinda onlara duvar olusturmustu.

14:29 But the children of Israel walked upon dry land in the midst of the sea; and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand, and on their left.

14:30 RAB o gün Israillileri Misirlilarin elinden kurtardi. Israilliler deniz kiyisinda Misirlilarin ölülerini gördüler.

14:30 Thus the LORD saved Israel that day out of the hand of the Egyptians; and Israel saw the Egyptians dead upon the sea shore.

14:31 RAB'bin Misirlilar'a gösterdigi büyük gücü gören Israil halki RAB'den korkup O'na ve kulu Musa'ya güvendi.

14:31 And Israel saw that great work which the LORD did upon the Egyptians: and the people feared the LORD, and believed the LORD, and his servant Moses.
